Our family of two adults and two children stayed for two nights while we were visiting Disney. The rooms were a good size and very clean. The property is well-maintained and our kids really enjoyed the large pool and jacuzzi. Took about 15 minutes to walk from the hotel to the front gates of Disneyland and DCA. All the staff were helpful and polite. The cons for us were that the air conditioning is quite loud and we could hear the rooms next to us and other guests/noise outside quite easily. However given the price and location we would stay again.
Arrived after long day in LA traffic Hotel staff friendly. Rooms clean and up to date. One thing that was great was they have 2 EV chargers! We were able to plug our car in to charge Plenty of parking and reasonably priced! Area around hotel was very clean as well.
A fine choice for a hotel within a 20 min walk to Disneyland and the convention center. Room comes with choice of breakfast at next door Denny's. Standard above basic hotel, has small pool area well kept but did not use. Price paid was I suppose fair given other choices and price points in the area. Staff helpful, rooms well maintained. Parking was free. Second time I used this hotel and would use again.
I'm completely fine with staying in low budget hotels as long as they are clean and have everything we need. This hotel appeared to have good reviews, but unfortunately, we returned to two cockroaches in our room that I had to battle late at night after spending a very long day at Disneyland. My two kids and I were on edge the remainder of our stay and just could not stay another night, so we checked out the next morning and went to a hotel down the street. I wasn't charged for the remaining night that we didn't stay which I appreciate, but I definitely won't be going back or recommend to others. I was only able to get a photo of one of the roaches.
Best Western Pavillion was a great place to stay. Very nice, clean and friendly. Front desk was very helpful with any questions you might have, and the service was great. Rooms were very nice and clean and had lots of room. The pool and spa was a nice touch to the end of a long day at the park to swim and cool down or to soak in the spa from all the walking in Disneyland. It was also nice to have a grab an go breakfast or go next door to Denny's. But was a nice place to stay at a reasonable rate.
TV reception was bad. Air conditioning was too loud. Room smelled like it used to be a smoking room leaving me with a "this room seems dirty" feeling. Internet cycled on and off. Won't be coming back to this location.
Our room was great, very clean and stocked with everything we needed. The staff were excellent. Pool and Hot tub were very clean and area kept up. Pool towels could be a little bigger we had to use more than one to dry off. The only issue is the restaurant on site (Denny's). We didn't use the breakfast there because we ate dinner our first night and it was terrible. All the food was overcooked. Server wouldn't make it right, just told us to put more sauce on it.
Location was great, but the rooms definitely need updating they had a musty smell and the AC units needs to be replaced. they were very loud.
We stayed here for one night for the convenience of walking to Disneyland. We checked in fine and parked outside our room. The room was large enough, beds not too bad. But the room was quite run down and the carpet was absolutely filthy, definitely don't walk round in bare feet! The room was also quite noisy, every move the people upstairs made, we heard, along with lots of other noise in general from outside. There were quite a few ‘characters' hanging round outside too, sadly I wouldn't have felt at all safe walking around on my own. The following morning while in the bathroom I noticed an ant, then another one and another one. There were lots, going alongside the doorway and up over the bath. As fast as I tried to get rid, more appeared. I mentioned it when we checked out and we were given a small refund of the resort fee back. We had also wrongly been charged for parking which was also refunded. This hotel, while being conveniently positioned for Disney, is just not up to scratch really, I think there are much better hotels nearby. It's just too tired and rundown, desperately in need of a refurb.
It was a good hotel and good location. Only complaint was how dirty the carpet was and there weren't enough chairs or space on the table for a family of 3 to sit and eat. But overall we were satisfied with our stay.
This was a decent hotel at a decent price with good service. The staff were helpful and friendly. Rather than the traditional lobby breakfast, they offered a coupon for the Denny's across the parking lot. It was a good breakfast and you had a choice of items. They also had a grab and go breakfast with fruit and a sweet roll if you wanted. Coffee, tea and other hot beverages were available in the lobby as well as apples. There was a nice pool area with towels provided. There was a self serve laundry that was $ 4 a wash and $4 a dry. Rooms were clean and had a fridge and microwave. There were 3 restaurants in the plaza next door and a small market store also. The shuttle to Disneyland stopped right outside the hotel. On our second day we walked to Downtown Disney which was a bit of a hike but manageable. It is easy to get to Disney with the shuttle but except for the restaurants as mentioned above, there isn't a lot very close by otherwise, I would stay here again without hesitation.
Good value. Close enough to the park for a 20 min walk or $8 uber. Friendly staff, Dennys was convenient and the breakfast voucher was a nice bonus
musty rooms, cockroaches, air conditioning that doesn't work, two of the same pictures in the same room, horrible tv options, loud staff room right next to our room, front desk receptionists who don't acknowledge you, bad/no breakfast options, hood asf
The room had a nasty mold smell and beds are not comfortable. They advertise breakfast and they don't have a venue onsite for it. Beds were not comfortable. The furniture was old and worn down. Rooms were small.
This is one the the best hotels you can stay at near disney they offer free breakfast! You can get items from the office and they even give you a meal for two at dennys right next door!! I had a very great experience staying here and would stay here again in the future
Outlets were too loose! You cannot even charge your devices! Shower head was broken I had to Wash my hair in the tub then call maintenance to come and fix the shower on a cold day. The carpet was old.
Every morning, we were given a bag to go, which contained an orange, a muesli bar, a custard tart and a bottle of chilled water, this kept us going all day and we only had to purchase dinner in the evening. There are Indian, Asian and Italian restaurants next door as well as Denny's. The hotel is an easy walking distance to downtown Disney, the monorail into Disneyland and to the main entrance to Disneyland itself. Our room was at the front of the building near the main road and was very quiet - no traffic noise.
With so many accommodations to choose from in the Disneyland/convention centre area we picked this location based on reviews, distance and affordability. Pleasantly surprised with the quality and cleanliness. Having the breakfast vouchers was Denny's was great and we took full advantage almost every day. The only thing I didn't like was that the room was carpeted with a very dark, old looking carpet - would much prefer hardwood or laminate flooring which is easier to clean and looks more modern. The only other thing i would mention which isn't any fault of the hotel is to watch out at night when opening the door as there are little cricket type bugs outside that can easily get in. We ended up with three in our room over the entire stay which I got right away and having dark carpet also makes them hard to see. I would stay here again if need be.
Stayed for a week and could not fault this place! Clean, great sized rooms, friendly staff (front desk and cleaning staff), and the attention to detail was fantastic - someone was always emptying bins, mopping the common areas, fixing up the gardens etc. Easy walk to Disneyland area. Bring your bathers for a relax in the hot tub! Much nicer than staying in LA!
Fantastic location to access the Disney Parks with about an hour or so extra drive to Universal Studios. The rooms were very clean, we got clean towels daily, beds made every few days, great access to tv and internet, heated pool and spa. Lots of parking. And some good shops for quick meals behind the hotel and also Denny's just across from the rooms. Plenty of dining options and the bus to Disneyland stops right out the front!
Easy walk to Disney. Affordable rates. Included breakfast at Denny's was great. Prompt checkin and hotel held our bags at end of trip. Would recommend to anyone wanting to visit Disney, especially families.
I stayed for 7 nights to visit Disneyland and all staff consistently were very friendly, cheerful, personable, and professional. My room was extremely clean. I was on the second floor (there are only 2 floors) and had neighbors on both sides of me and below me and I could not hear my neighbors at all. The bed was very comfortable, which surprised me as most hotel/motels don't have comfortable beds. The pool was nice, decent size, and nice hot tub. You can't beat the breakfast amenity; free coupon for each morning for hot breakfast at Denny's, which is next door. You get to choose three breakfast items and a small beverage and the Denny's, even when crowded, was consistently fast at cooking breakfast. In addition to the free hot breakfast coupon, they have a grab and go breakfast bag that includes a packed pastry, granola bar, orange, and bottle water and you can obtain both the hot breakfast coupon and grab and go each day (I used the grab and go as an evening snack). And they have a nice coffee machine that makes regular coffee, lattes, or espresso; the espresso was very good and fresh (I could hear the machine grinding the coffee beans). And this motel is within walking distance to Downtown Disney and Disneyland (about 10-15 minute walk) and I felt very safe, including walking back at night; there are many people that walk too). I can't say enough about the friendly staff and if I were to return to Disneyland, I will stay here again.
Carpet was dirty our feet were dirty walking on it and had to wear socks, housekeeping never came and changed out towels or garbage maintenance had to do it, spa kept breaking down, bed was so bad that the springs in the mattress would make a crunch noise when laying on it and our necks and back's would hurt so we left a day earlier because of it didn't get a return of money on the day we lost and found a 4-5 star hotel and no complaints. Been a best western member over 10 years and no longer will stay at a best western anymore it's gotten worse since covid happened and this is across from Disneyland
Excellent stay at this Best Western. The front desk staff is personable and helpful. The room was very clean and the housekeepers were very attentive when you needed fresh towels, garbage taken out.It was fantastic having a breakfast voucher at the Denny's adjacent to the Hotel. An excellent hot breakfast every morning if wanted, including a beverage. You also could go down to the front desk and receive your Grab N Go bag with a water, orange, danish, granola bar if you wanted it daily. The Hotel grounds is immaculate. We have stayed at 3 other Best Westerns,2 in Westminster,1 in Huntingbeach and 1 on S.Harbor across from Disneyland, and this by far is the BEST!,in price, and the ammenities.Hotel staff is supurb. We would definitely come back and stay again Robbin Ward,Livermore,Ca
Basic Hotel with clean rooms. It is a 15 mins walk to Disneyland. As we were staying here whole visiting various attractions in Southern California, we mainly used the hotel for sleeping. The hotel has a coffee vending machine in the reception, which serves good coffee throughout the day. Breakfast was provided via adjoining Denny's --- we were allowed to chose 3 items and a drink. The air-conditioning machine in the room was very noisy, but it did cool the room quickly. The shower was slightly clogged and did not spray water properly. Overall good experience.
Basic, but very clean. The room smelled good and did I mention clean? The room has a small frig, microwave and small coffee maker. You will receive a voucher for a free breakfast at Denny's which is in the same parking lot. A win win !
Great place to stay if headed to Disneyland. My family loved the pool, the EV charging, and the location. Wonderful staff! Made our vacation to Anaheim AWESOME! Would totally book this place again! If your considering others in this price range TRUST ME and book this place!
Good clean rooms, good service, fair price, clean pool, nice facilities overall, great if you are traveling alone or with family. Nice touch with the grab bag they give you at the reception when checking out
Excellent value for money. Top location. short walk to Disneyland via back downtown Disney entrance. Cant beat having a convenience store next door. Also an amazing Italian Marris, Asian Fusion (Vietnamese) and Indian restaurant's that are reasonably priced. Cleanliness superb, Full service every 3 days, towels and rubbish daily. Pool towels provided a bonus. Handymen and room attendants make up the friendliness lack from front office. Coffee machine (can be used for hot water only for that cuppa tea!!) Microwave & fridge handy. Downside: No safe... Air con VERY noisy, should be upgraded and front reception staff are not very friendly or welcoming.. that's a shame. Grab bag - water, fruit, danish and cranola bar offered until 10 SHARP - 1 min over and you are denied!!! Or build your own brekky of 3 items from Dennys next door. 2 coupons per room per day only. Would i stay again... yes... but dont expect anything from the front office staff
This hotel met our needs for our Disney visit , we stayed 5 nights , pricing was cheap , breakfast option where perfect (Dennys and grab n go) . We didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel as we where out all day. Beds are comfortable, access to park shuttle is right outside this was perfect for us. Laundry was quick and easy to use . Only downside was WiFi wasn't greatest , aircon was a little loud and rooms are only serviced every 3 days. Having said that we would definitely stay again it was very convenient. We also had a car so we where able to drive around as needed
This BW was very close to the ACC in Anaheim; it was reasonably priced and I had no issues with the room; thanks. The place was easy to access from the road, and they gave Denny's vouchers for breakfast for each day of our stay which was really nice;
On our recent trip to Disneyland, we (myself and two kiddos 14,8) stayed at Best Western Plus Pavilions. An older hotel, but really clean and the beds were comfortable. We all slept great! The staff was so helpful with directions, and every day offered to help us carry something up and down the stairs or hold the elevator for us. Down Town Disney and the two Disney parks were literally across the street, so walkable, and it was a beautiful walk. The hotel offered a free on-the-go type breakfast with fruit and a Danish for everyone, or a full breakfast at the Denny's next door for two. There were three of us so we opted for the full Denny's breakfast for two, and we paid for a kids meal for my eight year old. The bill came to $6, and was so worth it. Our bellies were full for a full day of walking at Disney. I would definitely stay here again, thank you Best Western!
The hot tub doesn't work properly. The room has a stinky odor like it's the plumbing. The biggest issue I had was the credit machine not accepting my card, taking the $ out then declining it & it going back into my account. I then had to use the ATM to withdraw $1200 in 6 transactions resulting in extra fees & getting no discount for it.
Hotel was located across the street from theme parks, city shuttle bus stop directly outside hotel for only $6 per day, super easy to navigate. Dennys located on premises along with many food choices with a couple minutes walk. Theme park fireworks visible right from your room every night!
Anywhere else I would rate this stay as Poor, but the staff response upped it to an average stay. It was a lot less than I expected out of a Best Western and I travel often, so I've seen a lot of Best Westerns over the years. Here is my take: 1) No, they don't serve breakfast, you get a voucher to eat at the Denny's next door (it's restrictive to a very basic breakfast as expected) 2) Yes, there is a coffee maker in the room, but I prefer not to drink dust with my coffee..it was THAT bad and still had a coffee pod in it (OK, gross start to the day). 3) Their key cards are very easily demagnatized. I had to get 3 new key's during our stay and yes, I'm aware of how to avoid it, but my credit card and room key were in two separate places so...sorry but I'm pretty sure it's the keys. Noone wants to have to go get a key card after a long day at Disney. 4) The bedding was clean, the bathroom was clean, never saw a bug, but it was very dirty everywhere else. They REALLY need to step up their cleaning game - I'm not expecting perfection, but this was over the top dirty that the cleaning staff HAD to have seen. 5) Hotel - outside doors were a little noisy, but thats to be expected. The homeless people fighting outside was a little unnerving though. The police arrived pretty quickly. The good: 1) Denny's was quick and friendly service, and a surprisingly great start to a long day. We even went over to grab a late after Disney snack before bed...much better than I thought it would be. 2) There is coffee in the lobby and my grandson was eager to leave anyways, so I ended up not really needing the coffee pot in the room. 3) Although we had a fight outside our door that one time-it was one time and not the hotels fault. They were quick to call the police to clear the situation, and we had no other issues with "trouble" in the area. 4) The room needed a good cleaning, but the important stuff was clean-bedding, sinks, bathroom. 5) You have to expect outside noise with an outside door, but considering the location it was actually pretty quiet most of the time we were there. 6) It walkable to Disney and many resteraunts in the area, but the ART bus is directly outside so catching a ride is easy once you get the app figured out. 7) The staff here is great. Key card not working-new one right away. Fight outside - police showed up w/in 5 minutes. Always a smile, always responsive which was wonderful to see. We've stayed at expensive hotels and not had that kind of response. The no comment: It was November so we didn't need the air conditiner-never used We did not see/use the pool (if there is one?) Overall, I wouldn't chose to stay here again due to price vs amenities. For a little more you can stay closer to Disney in the same or better conditions.
Our second time in this hotel because of the location and the breakfast included. The staff were nice. Was able to use their pool as well. The hotel room needs a little bit of updating but other than we had a great stay.
My husband and I travelled to Anaheim so that we could explore Disneyland before we had kids, this was just what we needed the bed was really comfortable and it was a nice walk to the parks which made it easy to come back to the room when we needed a break and then head back over to the parks later in the day
This place was amazing, our room was clean and tidy, the bed was super comfy, pillows were soft, had the best sleep after our long flight, staff were friendly and very welcoming, the laundry room was never busy so was good to catch up on washing, the pool and spa was a great temp, and was clean with towels provided in the vicinity, shops located next door super convenient, dennys breakfast was a plus with a short walk to downtown Disney, cannot fault this place, made lots of great memories staying here, my family and I will be staying here again ❤️
We booked two Best Westerns this trip. Our second location was awful, for multiple reasons. My family and kept reminiscing and raving about this Anaheim location. About how awesome and nice the staff are and the quality of the rooms. I've already booked this hotel again for a last minute trip back to the area.
Expensive for what it is, close to the park. The Denny's breakfast vouchers are nice to have. They don't clean the room daily because of Covid, not a problem though. I've machine is placed close for service.
The hotel manager jovanni and his staff are incredible rude and incompetent, don't stay here not clean unsafe rooms, it's not worth it. I stay in hotels often and this was the worst stay I have ever experienced.
Great place for the price. Nice sized rooms very comfortable beds. Plenty of parking. We took an Uber to Disney $9 bus available right at front of hotel. But looked like if you walked up the street you could walk into back of California adventure. Check it first. Plenty of other rest around but breakfast at Dennys covered by hotel was great. Limited menu free but reasonable anyway
The woman that checked us in was wonderful! She was helpful, kind, pleasant and professional. Sadly the room smell stale and musky, beds were super hard and uncomfortable, the water pressure was so low we couldn't completely rinse our hair and body. Over-priced for sure.
Good location. The phone & morning staff I encountered were very helpful but the after hours crew couldn't care any less. The A/C in room was TOO LOUD. The room overall was ok but for the money I would have better did more research and find a better location with better different amenities. The Dennys voucher was the best part of the deal. I will never book here again.
We were looking for a convenient place to stay the night before Disneyland. This was perfect! Clean, comfortable, convenient. And free parking and free breakfast at Dennys sealed the deal. We walked over to Downtown Disney for dinner the night before and were able to get to Disneyland when it opened the next day. Mission accomplished!
This hotel is situated on the far side of Downtown Disney and is a perfect starting point for the day. The Dennys next door isn't as busy as the location across from the main entrance so no long waits for breakfast. Less than a 5 minute walk away and you will be in a much smaller line for the security check. There is even a quick entry on the Disneyland monorail stop if your tickets are already in hand.
Stay here if you don't like rest or sleep. First off the good points: 20 minutes walk to Disney quick check in a breakfast voucher for Denny's next door for each morning of your stay. Bad points….the walls are paper thin as are the doors and ceilings. I'm typing this as I lie here listening to kids running around, adults talking, people banging doors. I can even hear drawers being closed and it's so loud they may as well come in to my room and close my drawers repeatedly next to my head. If they're awake so is everyone else. The rooms are brown, very brown. They need updating and modernising desperately. This is the only hotel that I've stayed in of my three week trip around the US where I've actually had to use my flip flops to walk around the room as I didn't want to put my bare feet on the carpet. It's unlikely that we will visit Disney California again but it we do it won't be in this hotel.
The hotel was comfortable, clean and a nice size room. The air conditioner was a little loud but that's something that can be fixed. Had a breakfast at Denny's which is right next door to walk to and that is included in the price. If you want to take the bus shuttle to Disneyland it is right in front or we did Uber and it was inexpensive and easy to Disneyland.
Traveling with a family of 5 or 6? The family suite here offered 1 king bed and 1 bathroom on one side of the room with a folding divider and the other side of teh room had 3 full size beds with 1 bathroom. The rooms are spacious with plenty of room for luggage, Each area by the bathroom has a long counter with 1 sink, an air conditioner and one standing closet. They gave us a voucher for two persons to eat breakfast at Denny's next door, which we didn't use due to having reservations in Disneyland, but it is a nice feature. The property is older and could use some updating. The pool was clean and nice for a dip while the heat wave was going on. The front desk manager was very friendly and the value for the room was great. It's quite a walk to Disney entrance - we got an uber with all our luggage and it was $11. You could walk, but wear your walking shoes, it's quite a jaunt. Would stay there again.
3 times we have stayed in this area and 3 times in this hotel. Like it here and will stay here again next time we're back. Has all we need, close to where we need to go and everyone friendly. It was good to stay here again. Until next time. Thanks for another nice stay
We stayed here for 4 nights in July. We were pleasantly surprised how nice it was - the hotel is slightly older but it felt clean, very well-maintained and safe. We enjoyed the pool and gym. All the staff we spoke to were very friendly. It was a great bonus that they provided vouchers for complimentary breakfast at the Denny's next door. This was a great treat and nice start to each day. They also offered bags with snacks for breakfast. We found it an easy walk to Disneyland. We would definitely recommend this as a great place to stay and good value especially with the Denny vouchers. It was a great start to our road trip in America.
I booked this hotel through AARP for my husband and I for a 3-day Disneyland visit. It was further away than we thought but that's on us. When we arrived at about 10:00AM the front desk clerk was very helpful and friendly and I was able to get the paperwork out of the way, park our car and get over to the Park. However, the accessible room I'd asked for wasn't in the system. I asked for a first floor room and was told she'd see if she could. When we arrived the parking lot was being resurfaced, a fact undisclosed in our reservation materials. We were assured that they were almost done... Right. We were given a map with the areas and dates they'd be worked on. When we got back to the hotel around 3:00pm we were given a first floor room but my mobility vehicle barely fit; we had to skirt around it to get to the bathroom (which was tiny). The smoke alarm was beeping and saying it had a low battery. We tried to call the front desk but the phone didn't work. The A/C was noisy! When we came back after a long day at the Park at 1:00am, I realized I'd forgotten to ask for linens for the airbed I must sleep on because of my back. We picked up the phone to call the front desk then remembered it didn't work (which I had told hotel maintenance when I told him about the smoke alarm). So I limped to the front desk where Rashad, apparently the 8th dwarf, Surly, Sighed and gave me a blanket and pillow. I made do. I asked the maids the next day for sheets and they gave me those and another blanket, bless them. The second day we were awakened at 7:00am by loud machinery and blowers. We had to move our car again and did so to the area their printed map indicated. We spent the day at DCA and came back to see a message button flashing on the phone. As I stated, it didn't work - at least not from room to front desk. So I went to speak to Surly again. He told me that our car was in the wrong place, even though we'd parked it in the spot indicated on the map for that date. He was NOT nice about it. There was a nasty note on our windshield when my husband went to move the car again that night. Our final night I had no interaction with Surly. But when my husband tried to get a drink from the vending machine, it didn't work. We packed up and left with relief on Friday morning. I would not recommend this hotel, even if the parking lot is finished. The daytime staff were great but Surly was just awful. I wasn't being unreasonable either time I interacted with him but was treated as a irritation instead of a guest. We will not stay here again nor recommend it.
Stayed here for 1 night while travelling through Anaheim. Great location for Disney and Downtown Disney area (walking distance). Ample free parking on site. We received a warm welcome and the room was clean. Guest laundry onsite and the 'to go' breakfast was a great touch.
The rooms was large and the bed was comfortable with friendly staff. Easily walkable to Disneyland. It was advertised (on hotels.com) with an inroom safe but they only had safe boxes available in reception. Other than that we had a very pleasant stay.
This hotel was perfect to stay at. Very accommodating, quiet and not too bad of a walk to the park. It is a walk, but not terrible. We walked back and forth all three days we were there. The room was clean, has a fridge and standard bathroom. We only stayed at the hotel to sleep. I would recommend this place to stay for those who want to be close to the hotel. We also got breakfast vouchers to Dennys next door. They are printed with the dates on them so make sure you take the correct day when you go eat.
This hotel was nice for a simple stay near Disneyland. It's about a 10 minute walk and you would enter the Park near the Disney Hotel and into Downtown Disney. You can hop on the Monorail from there. The hotel itself (rooms) could use some updating however, it's not bad especially, if you're spending your days at the Park. I loved the breakfast option of eating and the Denny's next door to the hotel and that the parking at the hotel is also free. Good place to stay. Bad thing "Can't control upper level kids from jumping and running around late into the night (ceiling noise).
I really enjoyed this location. It has a very convenient and beautiful walk to Disneyland. I got vouchers to eat at the Denny's right next door each morning I stayed, which was lovely. The room was very clean, and there was ample parking. I really enjoyed this stay.
The hotel was very clean and comfortable, the staff was very friendly. The room has microwave, coffee/tea maker, iron and ironing board. The hotel is next door to Denny's and gives you vouchers for free breakfast from 6am - 1030am at Denny's. The front office also gives out a day bag containing a bottle of water and fruit. There is also convenience store and other restaurants next door. There is a deposit of $100 but since I stayed 2 nights they waived the deposit. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable.
My strongest recommendation for this place! I made a booking error and it looked like my daughter and I would have to find another place for one night. Thanks Gloria for going to work for us and living up to the slogan on your pin: Because I Care!
We will be back when traveling to Disneyland or an Angels game because the 4 beds 1 room we rented was awesome. There were 3 single beds and 1 queen in our room, 2 tvs, 2 bathrooms and it was comfy. We had 5 people and it was more than enough space. Plus we had received 4 free Dennys breakfast vouchers that I didn't know about. That was cool! And the breakfast was bomb! Worth the price to stay here. Walking distance to Disneyland.
The room was clean and the bed was pretty comfortable. My only complaint would be with the AC wall unit was extremely loud but when we didn't have it on the place overall was quiet. There is some outside road noise but wasn't a huge deal for us. We walked everyday to Disney it's about a mile to the Disneyland entrance wasn't bad at all but I do have grown children.
About 2 (long) blocks to Anaheim Convention. You can see Disney fireworks. Provides a 6:30-10am bfast voucher at the Denny's next door. Close to a liquor/convenience store and a good pizza place which I think is called Mari's Pizza. Free parking for guests.
We really enjoyed our stay here! The room was clean, beds are comfortable, nice size rooms. The pool area was nice and well maintained. Great customer service! Only complaint was the fridge in our room didn't work. But great hotel for the price! As for the distance to the parks, it would be a pretty long walk. We ended up taking a Lyft, which prices weren't bad for. The breakfast vouchers for the Denny's were a nice bonus!
The heater in our room was not working and it was low 40's outside (Late December). When bringing it to the attention of the front desk the next morning, nothing was done to make up for the horrible experience that we had.
Roaches! No services because of covid. Or so they say. Fitness center is closed because of covid or so they say. Lazy staff unprofessional front desk ask for new sheets ddnt get any. I will never deliberately stay there again.
We have only stayed at Pavilions for all of our Disneyland/Convention Center trips for the past 6 years! We love the location, the hotel is always clean and the beds are comfortable. The ART picks up nearby and it's not an awful walk if you prefer to do that. It's a great value and we love that they offer free breakfast every day at Denny's as well! I highly recommend this hotel!
I arrived early on a Friday, and they actually had a room ready for me (I did the advanced check-in, which I think made the difference). Really appreciated this, so I could drop my stuff off before walking to Disneyland. I walk fast but was at the entrance to Disneyland California Adventure in 20 minutes. Super easy and convenient. One thing to note: ask for a room upstairs just in case a herd of elephants is staying above you, which was the case for me. Not the hotel's fault, but just keep this in mind if you're a light sleeper or if loud footsteps will keep you up.
We stayed for Disneyland & it was a short walk to downtown Disney & easy to find. Parking was easy & safe. We loved that the hot tub was open late since our feet hurt after the park. The room needs to be updated in my opinion, the bed is a spring bed & we could feel each spring when laying down, and the room smelled old. But overall, it was an easy stay and the room was clean. Also the AC unit has a very loud hum to it- so I'd suggest headphones in the summer.
Pros: Hotel gives you free Denny's Voucher for breakfast. Shuttle to Disney at affordable cost. 2 minute walk to the Disney shuttle. Free hotel parking. Clean rooms. Friendly staff and staff had great customer service Cons: Very thin walls so you can hear everything outside. The rooms stay humid. Room smelled like old people
The hotel needed a bit of updating as far as the rooms go especially the sound proofing, we heard all are neighbors and heavy walking above. It was nice that they had a laundry room for guests. The hotel grounds were great, pool area lovely, and ART transportation to Disneyland was close by. The Denny's breakfast included was a plus. Unfortunately the noise level from guests nearby is enough to keep us away next time or ask for a room with no neighbors.
Been a couple of years since I was here, and has the same old feel to it! Still a clean property, easily located to most major activities and offering free and available parking! A score among the Stovall's Inns, most of which charge for parking and can be really challenging at times. This place also still offers a complimentary breakfast at Denny's next door, featuring 3 items and a juice, from 6am to 10am. A great way to start the day, and better than any hotel breakfast I have ever experienced - more so now that COVID has destroyed most of those as well for the time being. Once downside this visit is that housekeeping does not service the rooms, and if you need something like clean towels you need to call up front. I am not sure why, honestly, as the Best Western I stayed at just prior in San Diego offered daily housekeeping - odd. And they do not tell you this on check-in, so you may wait a day or so to figure it out on your own. Also, do not believe the information sheet in your room about laundry prices - it looks you in the face and lies!. It tells you $2 per load of wash or dry, but the machine wants $4 each - and no change, credit card only. Except the soap which is quarters only. I give up. One last side note (one I forgot about myself when booking) is to request a second floor room - my elephant neighbors upstairs were bowling at 1:30am - Jiminy Cricket! Otherwise, a good stay and decent prices - including great breakfast and perhaps someday a return to room service!
My experience staying at this hotel was great. It was convenient, the rooms were nice, as well as the location. It's at least 6 min drive from Disneyland. You can also see the fireworks from this hotel which was - plus! The only thing I have to say is that there was a small odor in the room and the fridge had a really bad odor. Other than that, the bed was comfortable and our experience was great.
The hotel was not the usual Best Western I expected, it was a bit older but the rooms were clean and comfy. I thought I was getting a hotel within walking distance to Disneyland. The description said a "2 block" walk. Each block is almost a mile. Well maybe not that much but is wasn't a normal 2 blocks. However you can buy a bus pass (ART) and it picks you up and drops you off right at the hotel but you need to schedule it with "tripspot". We walked to the park in the morning but after walking around all day we took the bus back to the hotel in the evening.
I understand that things are just starting to open up after Covid lockdown, and difficult to get accurate information on "how" things are modified with reopening, so staff is learning too. Difficult to contact and figure the schedule for the ART buses to Disneyland. What made the stay best, was the helpfulness of the staff to accommodate, especially, Kelly at the front desk. She made multiple calls to the bus company, which also gave her inconsistent info, but she was extremely helpful to make sure we had the correct info. Bus pick up for Disneyland is right next to hotel. Older motel, but well maintained. Unfortunately with Covid rules NO daily housekeeping. Also a breakfast voucher was given for Denny's right nest door which was great. Pool and spa great to come back to after a long day walking at Disneyland. Overall great value.
This hotel is good quality and affordable. To be honest I wasn't sure what to expect, especially when we pulled in and I realized it was "motel-style" (doors lead right to the parking lot). But we were very pleased with our experience. It was CLEAN and quiet, the staff is friendly, beds are good, and it's walkable to Disney. Breakfast at Denny's was way better than what you get for breakfast at most hotels. My adult daughter and I stayed for a few nights while visiting Disney. The room was perfect for the two of us. It might feel a little cramped for a family of four with teenagers. I recommend it and I would stay here again.
We prefer to stay at BW Plus Pavillions when visiting SoCal because: Great location near Disneyland; all freeway access within minutes of hotel; the great customer service and the rooms are always clean!
We had a 4 night stay here in February and it's a little gem. Totally value for money - the inclusive breakfast at the adjacent Denny's is a bonus and a great way to start your day before hitting the madness of Disney. The hotel has comfy beds and pillows and is surprisingly quiet - although having a ground floor room can have disadvantages if the people above you decide to be elephantine in their movements! The site is about 1/2 a mile from the entrance to Downtown Disney (so approx 15 mins walk), and there is also the bus service which takes you to the main transport interchange should you want to us that as an option - you can purchase a 3 day hopper ticket from the hotel reception as well - we used those on a couple of days just to save our tired feet. We were a bit discombobulated at first about having twin queen beds but, actually, after a long day on our feet in the park, collapsing in bed without worrying about disturbing each other was a bit of a relief really. Staff were all lovely - very helpful from check in to check out. In addition to the complimentary breakfast at Denny's you can also collect a grab & go bag in the morning with a piece of fruit, bottle of water and a granola bar, just to get you going.
This motel looks a little on the old side from the outside but the rooms are quite nice. The bathroom tile was obviously new and the room looked in great shape. The check in staff was really nice and the hotel had plenty of parking. It is a little far from the entrance of the park so it is a bit of a walk.
Overall the hotel was great. It was a quick walk to Disney, included breakfast was nice, room was clean, staff were helpful. Unfortunately it was all tainted by my experience at checkout. I realized I left my laptop and important paperwork in the room when I got back to my home (2 hours away). I called and was told it wasn't found in room. I insisted that I had it when I checked in and didn't have it now and if it wasn't found then someone must have taken it.b At this point I was pretty stressed because there were several notebooks in my laptop bag with important information that would have been hard for me to duplicate. The person I talked to that identifed as "manager" was very rude and told me there was no way that the housekeepers took it and implied I was lying. She told me to call back when I knew the exact make of the laptop because I didn't know all the details at the time of my call. After I hung up and tried to figure out what exact model of laptop it was I decided that was ridiculous. Not like there were several laptops left in my exact room! I called back to say that I was just coming back up until it was located and someone else answered and said that it had been located. I guess I had been telling the truth! I am not sure why she hadn't called me on the cell number that they had on file to tell me that it had been located. Drove back up there and the person that I will assume was the "manager" I had spoke to didn't say anything when I got there. Obviously if I had left it in the room it was my fault but a simple I am sorry that I didn't realize it had been found when you first called, empathy for my added trip back up to the hotel (in the middle of rush hour traffic no less), an offer of a coffee for my 2 hour trip back would have made it ok. However, none of this was said. I worked in the customer service industry for years and was always taught the customer was always right. That isn't always true but you should at least assume that before you start being rude and implying the customer is lying. We still had a great trip and it would have been our go to place to stay for our future disney trips if the "manager" had been halfway pleasant. I am giving the service an average rating because the other people at the front desk throughout the rest of the stay were great.
I was very surprised how much I enjoyed this hotel! Beds were super comfortable and clean. Front desk was very helpful and quick at check in. Breakfast vouchers for Denny's was great! My kids were happy to eat there each morning. Only negative is the voucher is only good for 2 people per room even though 4 people (2 adults 2 kids) were staying. Also could only use the voucher starting 630AM. We wanted to eat earlier to get to park earlier but Denny's was strict on the time and wouldn't let us order till 630 on the dot. I did also appreciate this hotel didn't charge for parking and there was plenty of spaces. We took the ART transportation to the parks, the bus stop was right outside. It was super convenient!
We are DVC members and are very used to staying at a Disney Resort. This time we did not have any points and were very hesitant to stay here. We were very pleased! The staff was nice and accommodating. The rooms were huge and very clean. The outside color (avocado green) was sort of a bummer but otherwise it was very nice. It was an easy walk (but a little complicated, to Disney Land). I wish Anaheim had better signage (obviously not a hotel issue). The shuttle was good too. It was only $6 and was a quick trip to the parks. Leaving the parks though, it took my husband and I longer to catch the shuttle and get back to the hotel than it took the rest of my party to walk back. Overall, I was very happy with this hotel.
Best Western hotels are always great price for the quality. This location is great next to both Disney and the Anaheim Convention Center. Instead of hot breakfast with the hotel, they offer vouchers with Denny's which is conveniently located in the parking lot. Only thing with Denny's is they only offer 3 breakfast items and I wasn't impressed that they didn't allow country potatoes instead of their hash browns. Other than that it was good
Near Disneyland nice 15-20 walk. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly and gave us advice about transportation to Disneyland. You can get a to go bag for breakfast that has a water, apple, and granola bar, if you don't want to use the eat free option at Denny's.
Family staying at Disneyland Hotel and I chose something close by without $$$. My mistake was I walked up Walnut Ave. This is the back side of the receiving area of the Disneyland Hotel. The second day I turned right on Katella and Left at Disneyland Drive. This was much better and it brings you right to the security entrance before going into downtown disney. I try to avoid hotels like this that have the room doors facing outside because usually lower quality and people are noisy outside. I requested a second floor room with my reservation but I checked in at 11:30am and they kindly said they had a room available but it was downstairs.. I took it and ordered a Pizza Hut pizza to be delivered. Later on I could hear the creaking and squeaking of footsteps in the room above us. I did bring a tower air purifier to help drown out the noise with white noise so that was helpful. We turned on the A/C unit and it smelled like urine. Very loud like a diesel engine. Reported to the front desk when I checked out and in my guest survey. A manager contacted me and gave me some Best Western points credit. Overall, I got what I needed at a better price. Parking was free, breakfast was a good value for four. We just ordered one plate of extra pancakes for about $3. If I had it to do over again, I would have chosen one of the hotels closer to Katella/Disneyland Drive. 17-20min walk. You look across the street and the Simba parking lot which is the parking for downtown disney. Can't beat that.
As others have mentioned, it's a less expensive place to stay, that's still within walking distance of Disney. It's still a bit of a walk, but not too bad. The AC was pretty noisy, but I didn't mind the white noise. My only annoyance was you have to leave by 3P, so you can't stay at the park on your departure day, unless you move your car to the paid Disney parking. So, while the parking is free, be aware of this on your departure day. On the plus side, they did allow us to check in early on our arrival, which was wonderful.
This was a wonderful experience. We were able to walk to do Disneyland and back early in the morning. The room was nice and clean. The breakfast at Denny's that they gave us vouchers for was delicious. We will definitely stay here again.
The BW Plus Pavilions is a decent spot to stay while at Disney. It's an okay walk to the parks and a paid shuttle stop also is right at the hotel. They let us park our car for the two full days but only because they were not too busy. Beto at checkin was really great. We did find the room dark and the fan unit was way too loud.
Free Denny's breakfast, but we never took advantage of this...too busy. Walking distance to Disney. Hotel allowed us to keep our car in lot for the day which saved us parking at Disney and dealing with crowds. They could only do it because they weren't sold out. Tried air conditioner, but because they are individual units, they were very noisy. If we had to use it all night, I don't think that I would have slept. But, since the weather was cool, we didn't need it. Room was a little warm.
Our stay at the BW was very nice. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. The rooms were basic rooms but all that we needed. The beds were comfy and everything was clean. The walk to Disney was decent as well. You could take the ART bus being there is a stop right next to the hotel.
Staff was extremely friendly, rooms were great, can't beat the price and location. I've stayed here for several years going to the same NAMM Show and have always had good dealings with the folks here. The lobby and the rooms have been redone and look great.
We stayed at this hotel for a mother daughter Disneyland trip. The location was approx 20min walk to Disneyland main gates. All staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. Vouchers for breakfast at Denny's were nice. There is a limited choice of what you can order in the voucher but it was decent. Staff at Denny's were helpful and friendly and got us our food quickly each morning. Hot tub and pool have great hours so we were able to sit in the hot tub at the end of the day to rest our tired feet after a day of walking. Free parking was also a great perk. One thing to note, we were told there were safes included however this was not in the room but instead a security deposit box you could use in the main lobby. Staff were very accommodating when we used the safety deposit box but a safe in the room would have been more convenient.
The proximity to Disland and California Adventure is excellent. Both are easy walking distance. We were there for the theme parks, so spent little time in the room. Room was clean and everything worked. Great value.
only thing the breakfast was two vouchers for dennys per room and there were 21 of us but other than that everything was great . the staff was awsome and friendly and highly recamend taking the shuttle from the motel over very fast and conveniant and was cheeper than parking at park
I plan a vacation to meet my girlfriend and her family for Disneyland. I took advantage of the parking because parking at Disneyland is $25 per day! The breakfast is free at Denny's. The staff and room accommodations are excellent! Great value for the service provided. Highly recommend Best Western Plus!
This hotel is close to all of the Disney attractions. Our room was very spacious and close to the pool, and because it was sunny, we used it! It was clean and the bed was comfy and warm. For breakfast you are given vouchers for Denny's which is next door. The girl on reception (Ashlee) was fantastic. She explained everything, gave us some fantastic recommendations and made us feel so welcome! There are plenty of hotels on this stretch to chose from, but we will be coming back here!
My friend chose this hotel based on location and price. I am so glad she did as this was an excellent value for a hotel within walking distance to Disneyland! As others have mentioned, the Denny's breakfast vouchers are awesome. You get to choose three items from a list of items, but this list includes anything you could want like eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, pancakes, and oatmeal (among others). Plus, the voucher includes a drink. We were so full we didn't have to eat lunch until at least 1 pm each day. A great way to make the most of a morning at the parks! And the walk is about a mile to the park entrances (part of which is walking through Downtown Disney). This was a pleasant and not taxing walk. We walked both ways even after a full day at the park. I know there's a paid shuttle available too if you wanted. The only complaint we had is that every night we would wake up and hear people talking or singing loudly. Could have been our room location. This wouldn't keep me from staying here again, but it was a problem. Definitely recommend for those looking for a nice, budget hotel within walking distance of Disneyland.
Awesome hotel! Clean and they really take care of you! Front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. Housekeeping were awesome. We even saved $120 getting our park tickets there.Loved loved it! Great hotel!
Walking distance to all attractions. General store next door has everything. An excellent value for the money. Bed was pretty comfy. Carpet could use a steam clean. Pool and hot tub very nice, we used the hot tub twice. Park right outside your room. Friendly staff. Old school motel.
Breakfast vouchers for 2 at Denny's are provided, and on top of that guests can pick up a breakfast baggie that consist of water, Apple and museli bar. Just a token, guest can take the ART shuttle to Disneyland. Clean and neat property. As usual Best Western is value for money!
This motel is located across the street from Disneyland close to Knott's Berry Farm and the convention center. Free limited breakfast at the Denny's is only yards away. This is a older motel but very clean and comfortable. Great friendly staff.
Good value, clean, renovated but a bit dated. The only thing I would say is the AC/ heater unit is a bit funky and in a strange location. Front Desk staff were polite and professional. The hotel is a bit outside of the busy area around the parks, but that helps keep the price down. 15/20 walk to park was no big deal. Walking back after 13 hrs at the park was a bit rough.
never again staying. i stayed at the first floor but second floor was to noisy you could hear every step. i could hear the kids running around, jumping around. did not care about the people that were on the first floor. i called front office but no one helped to resolve the problem. never again staying here. if you do request second floor !
The BW Pavilions has been our "go to" hotel when visiting Disneyland for the last 10 years! Affordable, always clean with wonderful customer service and free parking! My kids love the large and beautiful pool and hot tub and the stay always includes breakfast for 2 at Denny's next door!
Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was kind and very knowledgeable about the area. They helped us with shuttle information, nearby restaurants and any other questions we had. They were nice about accommodating 2 room near each other as we traveled with family. Breakfast tickets for Denny's was so great. Quick and easy breakfast before heading to Disneyland. Beds were comfortable, water was hot, fridge was so helpful with kiddos. 10/10 will definitely stay here again.
clean and close to the parks and staff are always helpful. we always stay here or at the other BW on the corner stohvalls. both are great. the hot tub is awesome and helps me relax my sore muscles from walking all day at the parks.
Stayed here before on a previous visit to the area and decided to stay again. It's handy for Disney and good value for money. I'm glad we decided to stay here again. The staff were also very friendly.
Great value and the rooms are clean and the staff is very friendly. The pool and Hot tub are a nice way to finish off a day of walking around Disney. The breakfast @ Denny's every morning was good and the staff there too is very friendly.
Staff is very friendly, rooms are clean, prices are very reasonable, they have a pool and hot tub. There is a Denny's right there that you get a breakfast coupon for. You can't use it if doing the early morning at Disney but how much can you eat at 6:30 am anyway. I did wish they had a water cooler in the lobby you could fill your water bottles up with. They did have grab bags for you to take for the day. It included a small apple, very small water bottle and a mini granola bar. It would be nice to have the option to pay a bit extra and get a full size bottle and better granola bar. The hotel could use new, quieter air conditioners in the rooms and new pillows but for a budget motel it was good. Especially if you are just at the hotel to sleep. If you plan on a holiday where you are taking a day off it to enjoy the hotel and pool, you might want a different one. Although there is nothing wrong with the pool and hot tub it's not really an area to hang around for the day.
We recently stayed here for a last minute weekend trip to Disneyland. Our room was clean and comfortable though a bit dated. They had the basic amenities, including microwave and mini fridge. Breakfast vouchers are also provided, which allow 2 guests to choose from a selection of basic breakfast items from the Denny's next door. The location is not the closest to the Disney parks but still in walking distance. Maybe a 15-20 minute walk. Previous reviews have mentioned using a shortcut through the cast parking lot but it seems that they no longer allow pedestrian access. We learned that the hard way. After a long day at parks, we followed GPS directions leading us across the entire parking lot only to be told we would have to backtrack and go all the way around. The ART shuttle stops right in front of the hotel also if the walk seems too long, though there is a fee. The only complaint I had was that it was a bit noisy. I could always hear our neighbors talking or watching tv late at night which made it a little difficult to get to sleep. Other than that, we had a decent stay and though it probably would not be our first choice, we would consider staying here again.
I stayed here for the first time for a quick Disney trip and of all the hotels I've stayed in it comes in toward the bottom. This is a no frills motel near Disneyland. We moved from the Paradise Pier to the Pavilions and I wish I had just stayed at the Paradise Pier. I was looking for variety and I enjoy the challenge of finding that perfect hotel for just the right value near Disneyland. The Pavilions has the value in spades over the others, but it falls short in many of the key areas. I'll start with the pros. LOCATION; I prefer staying off Katella over Harbor Blvd. I'm ok with the extra steps this strategy comes with mainly because it is an entertaining walk. BREAKFAST; we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast at Denny's. Be aware this is only for 2 people so there isn't much value for larger groups. PARKING; It is smaller compared to the other BW hotels in the area which means the parking area is smaller and not as cluttered. The spaces are a good size and even if you can't find a spot near your room it's a short walk. VALUE; it's a cheaper way to experience the magic of Disney. The cons. LOCATION; it's a long walk to the park. Disneyland closed off pedestrian access through the employee lot directly across from the hotel so if you are deciding between Stovall's and Pavilions. Stovall's officially has a much shorter walk. ROOM; the rooms are as basic as they get. The carpet and furniture is dated. The bathroom is tiny. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. I just wouldn't want to spend a lot of quality time in them. Overall, I give this motel 3.5 stars. I do think Pavilions is something to consider if you are like me and get annoyed by long lines and the parking situation at the Disneyland parks. If you are ok with a some extra walking there is a payoff in the end.
The suite was comfortable and surprisingly roomy. Select breakfast from Denny's was included which was great!! The servers were helpful and friendly and it was a great way to start our day. We were pleasantly surprised.
Location, location!! Great location for anything you want to do in Hollywood, restaurants ,bars, comedy , great steakhouse right across the street , we had one of the best times that night , cant wait to go back there again
The location is awesome, breakfast is best in the area, outside upkeep is great, furnishing in rooms is a bit outdated but the rooms are very clean. The staff here is always more than accommodating. One of my favorite places to stay in the area.
Great hotel just walking distance from Disneyland, comfortable clean rooms, awesome pool, relaxing environment my kids, grand kids always enjoy the stay. Breakfast voucher for Denny's needs more of a variety other than only 3 items
We loved this hotel, it was close to the parks, about 15/20 min walk to Downtown Disney but after a long day in the parks we decided to get Ubers there and back which were $5-$6 each way. You could also take the bus which stops outside the hotel but this was $4 each way so more expensive than Uber. The breakfast in Dennys was great, you could choose 3 things for free and pay to have more if needed but we didn't do this. Just left a couple of dollars tip each day. The pool was lovely, nice and quiet, plenty of sunbeds and a nice whirlpool. My boyfriend also visited the fitness center which he said was good. The Wifi worked really well. The only thing missing in the room was a safe which we would have liked. The air con unit was noisy but it turns off after a while once it's got to the correct temperature. If I ever return to Disneyland I'd definitely stay here again!
Best Western Plus Pavilions was the best hotel to stay at during our stay in Anaheim. It was conveniently close to the parks and restaurants as well! The staff was very friendly and provided exceptional customer service. I will definitely plan my stay here again!
We stayed there for four nights, breakfast is included in the price next door at Denny's ,there is a voucher for breakfast every day you stay there, there is a variety of items that you can have for breakfast or you can include that and add to it for an added cost.Clean ,friendly staff ,onsite laundry for guests, shuttle bus stops out the front.
This hotel had everything going for it...free parking, breakfast, clean room and comfortable bed. The only problem was the air conditioning wall unit was really loud when it came on. I think it is time to update those units. Other than that...great hotel.
Stayed for 2 nights in early September 2019. Easy check in, Easy Parking, Polite check in staff, Free Breakfast via a voucher which can be redeemed at the Denny;s next door. Room was Clean with all the basics. a Good nights sleep was had. Within walking distance of Downtown Disney and the Disney parks.
we stayed 5 nights in this motel Its a nice motel So close to Disneyland. The car parking spaces are tight & it can be noisy with so many people comming and going its cheep to stay Why would you pay $ 400 a nite at Disneyland hotel when all you need are a shower & a bed as your out allday sightseeing. there is a free shuttle bus to disneyland but you can walk it in 15 mins.
This is a great hotel, the staff were fantastic and friendly. Room was a good size which was spotlessly clean. It was very quiet and had parking. Short walk from Disney which was perfect for us. We used the pool and really liked it that it stayed open until 11pm which meant we had a lovely dip after a full on tiring hot day at Disney. Used the laundry which was ideal, reception assisted me with the correct change. The breakfast at Denny's really hit the spot and although there was 3 of us and we had to pay for one, it was good value and we can't complain. The breakfast pack which is also provided was welcome in Disney and we ate that whilst queuing for the rides. Overall I would stay again if I visit that area and felt it was good value for money.
We stayed here when we were attending the D23 Expo in August of 2019. Our room was very clean, comfortable and conveniently located within walking distance of the convention center, Downtown Disney and the parks. The staff were helpful and friendly and there was plenty of parking. We will definitely stay here again.
Convenient to the parks and the convention center in Anaheim,California Will recommend to friends and family or to anyone in need of a good place to stay with good comfort with nice friendly staff love the bag snack to go
Hotel staff were excellent, pool was good. Room was clean and bed was very comfy. Close to Disney, and breakfast coupons were helpful. Walking distance to restaurants and other venues. We were very pleased with the overall value of this hotel. On site laundry was a bit costly, but is a nice option.
I was surprised by the quality of the hotel. It is clean, staff is very helpful, and the location is good if you are visiting Disneyland. Breakfast is included, you will get vouchers for Denny's, which is beside it, although a bit limited since it only covers for 2 persons.
This was a great hotel for the price. Free parking, breakfast, and even a free snack bag (water, fruit And granola bar) which came in very handy at Disneyland. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was kept clean. I definitely would recommend this hotel if you are going to Disneyland. The ART bus to Disneyland comes right in front of hotel.
The hotel is 20 min. walking distance from Disney Land entrance. Equipped with an outdoor pool, self-service laundry and fitness room. Breakfast at Denny's and the Grab & Go is very convenient. Staff are efficient, professional and helpful. Except for the A/C unit being too noisy, everything is great ! Good value for money.
Have stayed here before over quite a few years for conferences and such, but had family with me this time - just a quick road trip with an overnight. The facilities are clean, well laid out and rather cozy - only 2 stories and a couple of buildings. Located right next to a shuttle stop for quick travel throughout the resort, and a short walk to several VERY good restaurants! The rooms were clean, nicely decorated and lots of room. The staff were great (thanks Beto!) and the breakfast vouchers for Denny's next door were a great way to start the day. Look forward to staying again!
I loved this accommodation. It was soo cheap I wasn't expecting much but pleasantly surprised. The breakfast coupons for Denny's were great, bottomless coffee and great pancakes so say no more. Bus stop right outside hotel so easy to go anywhere. Beds super comfy, pool area a delight on a hot day. Staff really friendly and helpful. Walking distance to Disneyland (unless you find walking 10-15mins a struggle, in which case you will find exploring Disneyland difficult). Can see Disneyland's fireworks from hotel. Would not hesitate to return. If you are not needing high end hotels, need to save money and just want something comfortable, safe, convenient and friendly this is the place.
This was the second summer in a row I headed down to Anaheim, and this hotel was my first choice! It is conveniently located, the rooms are spacious and clean, and they offer both coupons for a free breakfast at Dennys and also a quick grab and go option. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and they have the best pillows I have ever slept on!
We have been coming to Disneyland regularly for 30 years. We tried 1 resort hotel and 1 other area hotel. Since we discovered the BWP Pavilions, and their sister hotel the Stovall's, we won't stay anywhere else in the Anaheim area. Best location, price, service, and comfort after a long, long day in the park.
Stayed 2 nights, very basic but handy for Disney. Breakfast voucher given but didn't use as you can only have 3 items and use by 10am WiFi was very poor and intermittent and air con noisy. Is ok for odd night but wouldn't stay longer.
Really can't complain about anything with this stay at the BW. It does not have onsite breakfast but it gives vouchers to Denny's for free breakfast for each morning of your stay. Beds were pretty comfortable. Walking distance to Downtown Disneyland and Parks. Would stay here again!
This place was nothing flash, room was adequate and clean. Not spacious so would not suit a longer stay but for 2 nights or served is purpose. Reception staff were friends and thoughtful. Laundry facilities were good. Location was great as we walked through the car park to get to Disney. Room cleanliness was faultless. Air conditioning was good for the warm weather. Surrounded by good amenities including Denny's for an easy breakfast. I would recommend to anyone who does not want to stay in a Disney resort but wants to avoid travel costs by being walking distance close to the action.
Such a great place for the price!!! We were very happy with the customer service provided. Although one daytime staff member coded bus pass cards incorrectly, evening staff were extremely helpful to fix them. Very helpful evening staff!!! Although the rooms are a bit dated, everything was clean and in good working order. LOVED the breakfast voucher at Denny's. Very nice perk to start the day. The bus stop out front is very convenient as well.
1. Free parking 2. Location 3. Bfast 4. Room comfort For the above reasons, I'll stay here again and again. Free safe parking is a must value since we are coming from out of state. The location allows the quickest entry to Disney. Bfast is awesome (vouchers from Denny's and grab and go bags with fruit, water and a granola bar). The room was spacious and comfortable.
We thought this was a great hotel for the price. Was clean, comfortable beds, nice pool, security was present in the evenings, has a Denny's right next to it. 20 minute walk from the back entrance gates of Downtown Disney
We stayed here from May 13-17. Ashlee at the front desk saved the whole trip. We had issues with our gift cards and she was amazing! She checked us in and got us all settled, and the next day got the gift cards all sorted. We had stayed 3 nights in LA at another best western who did nothing for us. But that is for another review. Anyway, our room was all the way in the back tucked in the corner where it was nice and quiet. The room was large too. It's a pretty good location. Stores and restaurants near by. Marri's restaurant beside them has great food too. The only thing not giving them 5 stars, is the walk to Disneyland. It was a long walk at the end of the day at Disneyland. We loved our breakfast every morning at Denny's. It was a great start to the days there. The price was great too. So if you don't mind a longer walk to Disneyland, it's a great place to stay. So if you're a fit, budget conscience family, I highly recommend pavilions!
I really wish I paid the $30 more per night for a nicer hotel down the street and closer to Disney. We were originally going to stay at the Hyatt Convention but saw this deal for military folks when I bought my Disney Salute Tickets (discounted tix for retired, active, and 100% disabled veterans) at my local military base. Yes, the parking is free and they offer a very simple breakfast at the Denny's adjacent to the hotel but it was only for two people, not for everyone in the room. Okay, no biggie. But then more little things got to me like their limited laundry and gym hours which pretty much happens during Disney park hours. We asked if there was wiggle room there but that was a straight up no. At least we packed enough clothes. We didn't even bother to waste our time in their small pool. What really got to me was when my husband asked to use some cleaning products to clean up a mess in our rental vehicle and was flat out denied. Though we were fortunate enough not to have smoking neighbors there are butt cans every few doors. Since you cannot smoke in these rooms, you might have a neighbor who smokes right by your door. The beds were at least comfortable but the room was very dated. In the future, I'll just pay more for a better room and service at the Howard Johnson. They really kick ass with their customer service.
The room was very nice and comfortable. Very clean. Offered free coffee. Had a fridge and microwave. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Walking distance to restaurants, convenience stores and the Disneyland Theme Parks and Downtown Disney.
Stayed here, thought the room smelled a little musty but was generally OK. On the last day I pulled back the bed to make sure I hadn't dropped anything and found this explanation for why I had been feeling ill the whole time. The dust is so thick you can't even see the carpet through it. The general manager couldn't tell me the last time it had been deep cleaned. Apparently that information isn't that easy to access. I am horrified and hope that no one, especially that has children, especially with asthma, or anyone that would want to be anywhere around the floors or in the room in this resort chooses to stay somewhere else.
We stay at this hotel for one night for a short Disneyland trip. We booked two rooms. One was for my wife and I, the other for my son's family. Pros: The hotel is within walking distance of Disneyland- about 20 minutes with small children. The rooms we had were both clean. Staff was very good at check in and helpful in answering questions. The pool and hot tub were both clean and looked well cared for. They are not the most scenic location being somewhat behind the adjacent Denney's but for one night it wasn't an issue. There were plenty of pool towels and the rooms were well stock. There was a mini fridge and microwave in each room. We didn't hear outside noise in the rooms except when the Disney fireworks were going off and that is no bother, of course. Cons: We actually had two complaints- one small the other more bothersome. The first small complaint was that we had requested rooms next to each other. We got rooms that had another room in between. We understand those requests are not guaranteed but the room between us was empty when we checked in and wasn't occupied until a hour or so after we checked in- we watched the folks unload- so it seems they could have fulfilled that request with a little bit of effort. Had we been staying multiple nights this would have been a bigger bother. The second issue was a little bit more problematic for us anyway. The hotel info notebook indicates smoking is not allowed in or near the rooms but they have ashtrays every 20 feet or so right outside the rooms instead of a designated smoking area somewhere on the property. That means smokers, and there seemed to be a lot of them at this property, at least while we were there, all smoked right outside the rooms. Unfortunately for us, our two separated rooms happened to have the ashtrays near the doors because of the spacing and the people in between us and either side who were all smokers stood in front of our rooms to smoke. No odor in the room but we got smoke most of the time when we exited to go to the car, etc. If you are super sensitive to this issue, I would stay elsewhere. Knowing the set up now, if we were staying multiple days, we would choose a different property. This seems like an easy fix so not sure why they have the set up they do. All in all, this location is a good value for the money. Staff was very good and the included breakfast was as advertised. Not sure I would use it for an extended stay with small kids but for one or two nights it is fine.
We stayed for 2 nights and did not get much sleep as on ground floor room and room above sounded like elephants walking around till 1am and then started again at 5 am We also had guests talking loud outside room as well so not much sleep. We would only stay if guaranteed a first floor room which have no one above you. Breakfast at Denny's was great and an easy walk to Disneyland. If you want a quiet room maybe not here.
From the time I made my reservation in February to when I checked out, the staff at this hotel was always friendly, polite, and professional. The hotel is within walking distance of the Disney parks and the Anaheim Convention Center, as well as shops and restaurants. We were four women cosplayers in the room with all our luggage, costumes, makeup, and props, and still every day the room was fresh and clean despite all our STUFF. It was a convenient and economical hotel - I'd definitely stay again.
Many times staying here over the years, and one of my favorites of the "Stovall's: inns around the Disneyland resort. I like this property because of walking proximity to the convention center (I'm usually here for a convention) and for ease or parking if I go off property at night for dinner or social activities - too often I would stay elsewhere and get back about 10pm to find no or limited parking, as the hotels are booked solid and there seem to be more cars than people! Oy - but this place has decent parking, even in the evenings. The value is good as well, and the rooms are nicely appointed, clean and generally quiet in spite of exterior corridors. The front staff is always pleasant and efficient, an added pleasure after a long road trip. The hotel is located at the southwest corner of the Disneyland property and is a short drive (less than 5 minutes) to Downtown Disney parking. You can hear and see some of the rides in California Adventure when walking around the area, and if you go to the small entrance to their Disney employee parking lot across the street at 9:30pm, you'll get a great view of the fireworks! Much better than from Downtown Disney, because of the angle you are from their launch site. Next door you have a small shopping center with a well stocked liquor/convenience store, a wonderful Indian restaurant, Ghandi Palace, and an equally wonderful Italian restaurant next to that, the Marri's Pizza and Italian restaurant. Of course, with a few (long) blocks to the west you have larger shopping centers, and to the east at the intersection of Harbor and Katella more choices, and every year they add new ones as the area continues to develop. The hotel provided breakfast vouchers for the Denny's just next door to the east, and these were good for 3 items - not a bad way to start the day! Overall a great stay, and one I'm looking forward to again.
The hotel allowed us to check in early which we appreciated. The room was a good size and was comfortable and clean. The breakfast which was included was at Denny's. They gave you a choice of items and each person could pick 3. The hotel was in walking distance of Downtown Disney and plenty of shops and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.
We have stayed here a few times on our trips to Disneyland We have always had clean rooms and the staff is always friendly and welcoming! They give you complimentary at the Denny's next door for 2 people it's a simple breakfast but you can always upgrade they always offer what they call a grab n go which was a granola bar and fruit and a water which we saved for a snack at the park! There is plenty of parking and it's free! It's a short easy walk to Disneyland We will definitely stay again!
While most hotels were booked solid, we found this hotel still had room for three is our party. It was clean and well cared for. The staff went out of their way to make our stay hassle free and seamless from check in to check out. They offered a very light breakfast or the option to have a bigger fare next door at Denny's at no additional cost. Shuttle service to the Disneyland park was available for $5.50 per day (unlimited use) and the stop was right out front between the hotel and Dennys. The hotel sold tickets to Disneyland and the shuttle service. They did not charge extra parking for my rental car. It was a quiet and relaxing stay.
I have to admit that I wasn't expecting anything great when I was able to book for the price I did, but boy was I wrong! The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the rooms were great! We we're meeting with people at Downtown Disney and wanted to be able to walk there. I highly recommend this motel to anyone staying in the Anaheim area!
We were incredibly happy with our 5 night stay at this Best Western! Super clean rooms. We had two connecting rooms. Beds were comfy and it was quiet. We always ask for uppermost floor when we travel. Very friendly and helpful staff from the front desk to housekeeping. Appreciated the voucher for 2 free breakfasts per room at the Denny's next door. The employees there at Denny's were also friendly and efficient! We bought tickets at the front desk to use ART bus 9 to take us to the Disneyland drop off loop. That bus picks up right in front of the hotel. We visit Disneyland once a year and this is the best hotel experience we have had in our 15 stays in the Disneyland area.
This is a good hotel with an outstanding location and for a $5 per day resort view you get free parking. Downtown Disney is just a short walk through the simba parking lot so incredibly handy for the parks. Free breakfast for two people is offered in the Denny's which share the parking lot. If not your thing then they offer a grab and go at reception. Rooms are clean and fine if you don't plan on spending much time in them. Can be pretty noisy if you are a light sleeper. Swimming pool area is nice and kept clean. All in all this is a great hotel for travellers on a budget.
Most affordable and pleasant stay while we went to Disneyland. Within walking distance or you can take the ART shuttle for a small fee. Breakfast included at Denny's next door. Get to pick 3 items and free coffee or juice. Can't beat it.
We weren't visiting the parks, rather attending a friend's birthday party at the Phoenix Club. Knowing that the King rooms have showers, was happy to book a room with 2 queens. Large room, comfy bathtub, free parking and great location. 24 hour keurig coffee maker in the lobby and decent coffee in the rooms. Was happy to use my $25 gift card. Check in was quick, staff cordial, and breakfast coupon for the Denny's on site was a nice perk. Would definitely stay again.
We stayed here for one night before switching to a Disney hotel. It's super convenient and close to the parks, walking distance even! The rooms are clean and spacious with everything you might need. Very comfortable. Our only complaint was the lack of elevator for our building but we made do!
We booked this hotel for our Disneyland trip. The location of the hotel is good and the rooms were clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. The free breakfast each morning was at the restaurant next door which was great. You have to purchase a bus pass if you want to shuttle back and forth between the hotel and Disneyland. We would definitely stay here again.
BW Pavilions exceeded our expectations! It was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the rooms were well appointed! The best part, however, was the people. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure we were enjoying our stay. Part of the deal is breakfast included. They provide you with a voucher for Denny's (right next door). We stayed in January for a family Disney trip. Be prepared to walk to the park entrances about a mile. It's a beautiful walk-even in the pouring rain like we experienced. That is a bit inconvenient, but the staff and amenities at the Pavilion made it worth the walk.
I love staying at this hotel as it is close to Disneyland and the Convention Center. Everyone that works there is so very nice and accommodating. No charge for parking, $10 per day resort fee, you get a voucher for Dennys each day :)
A group of 6 of us stayed here in January 2019. LOCATION Location is a bit of an issue. We walked the first of 4 days we were here to Disneyland and back to our hotel. It was quite a long walk. At least 25 minutes. After a long day on your feet all day at Disneyland, walking home is the last thing we felt like doing. The best thing about the location of this hotel is that you have a view of the Roller coaster at California Adventure Park which looks very pretty at night all lit up. ROOMS The rooms are big enough. Our room had two double beds. I shared a room with a friend and we both had plenty of room. The beds were quite comfortable HOWEVER the pillows were an absolute nightmare! They are the size of a cushion you would decorate your couch with....probably 40cm x 40cm! They are so hard and extremely uncomfortable. None of us slept well because of them. The bathroom was small. It contained the shower with a bath and the toilet. The basin and mirror were outside the bathroom in our room. There was plenty of bench space for us to put our things. The rooms had a small refrigerator, coffee machine, air conditioner / heater, hairdryer and TV. Unfortunately, the rooms do not have a safe. BREAKFAST Breakfast is included in the room price however it is supplied by Denny's. Denny's Restaurant is onsite at the hotel. You are provided a voucher for 2 people for each night that you stay. You are entitled to select three things off the voucher which range from biscuits, hash browns, 3 rashes of bacon, toast, muffins, eggs, sausage links and pancakes. You are also entitled to one drink. I would suggest you get coffee as you get free refills. The hash browns are the size of your plate! I would suggest you order two serves of the hash browns in an attempt to fill you up as food is so expensive at Disneyland. SHUTTLE There is a shuttle service from the hotel to Disneyland. You need to pay $5.00 per person per day. You can use the shuttle as many times as you like throughout the day. The last shuttle back to the hotel is half an hour after the parks closes. I would highly recommend getting the shuttle! FACILITIES Because we visited in winter, we did not use the pool or spa. However, they looked very good. There is AMPLE parking on site as well as vending machines throughout with water, soft drinks and snacks etc. There is a small supermarket right next door which is great to purchase bottled water, snacks, gift items etc. OVERALL: This hotel was very clean. The staff are very friendly. The breakfast is fine. The location is not the greatest but if that doesn't bother you then I would highly recommend that you stay here. This is the 4th hotel I have stayed at at Disneyland and would rate it 3rd out of the 4 we have stayed at......based on location only.
Took a trip to Disneyland with 13 family members over the summer. Needed a place that was clean and comfortable but still affordable and this place was perfect. Aside from having clean rooms with comfortable beds and nice bathrooms, the staff is very accommodating (they were able to get all of our rooms next to one another) and it's conveniently located next to a Denny's and a convenience store. It's also very close to Disneyland so you can either walk or drive. I've also noticed that some of the hotels in the area can have a shady/scary feel to them at night...didn't feel that at all here. It's very secure. Their parking situation is also excellent, as there's plenty of it and the spots aren't all compact size (we had a 15 seater transit wagon, which we had no trouble finding parking for during our stay) and their pool is lots of fun.
quite place, great location, comfortable beds etc walk to Disneyland, great use of Uber around the place and to get to LA we had a great time visiting around Anaheim, great restaurants around not too far from anything worth the visit
Stayed while visiting Disneyland. It took us 15 minutes to walk from the hotel to the monorail entrance. When going home we cut through the Grand Californian Hotel and that saved some time (can't cut through in the mornings. Be aware of the stairs in the hot tub. They are extremely slippery and I fell when getting in. I told the front desk staff but they didn't do anything about it. The room was large and clean. Beds were comfortable and there was lots of parking. Microwave and mini fridge in the room. The grab & go bags were basic. We bought bagels and yogurt and ate breakfast in our room. Food: The Gandhi Palace in the strip mall next door was excellent! PF Chang's at GardenWalk was ok. The Hungry Bear Restaurant in Disneyland was horrible (worst meal of the trip). Naples Express Pizza in Downtown Disney was good.
Great Location..Staff Great..Not to far from Disneyland..They offer goodie bags that are filled water..apple and a granola bar. They also have a heated pool and a hot tub. Denny's is next door abd they give you a food voucher for 2 people. 1 per day u stay.
This place felt more like a motel. Paper thin walls, Loud, In-Wall Heater, small(uncomfortable beds). Paid $20 less the comparable hotels but would have rather spent the extra $$. Will not stay again.
Great service and friendliness of the staff. Hotel location within walking distance of the main attractions and restaurants. Hotel was very clean and was easy to access from the freeway. My hotel room was very comfortable, spacious, and clean. Hotel room rate was very reasonable.
I really like staying at Best Western Inns because they are usually very convenient. By convenient I mean they provide a nice room in a good location, free parking and free buffet breakfast. This BW did provide free parking which was great, nice big spaces that accommodated our minivan with room to spare. However, the room was musty. There is an old air conditioner but it is super loud so we didn't use it. We slept with the window slightly open which is not a great solution because all rooms and windows open to the parking lot and walkways. Not only did we hear everyone around us walking past our window as they returned to their rooms but we didn't feel super safe. They advertise the location as being across the street from Disneyland, which it is, but it is across the street from the Disney cast parking lot. The entrance to get into the park is about 2.5 miles away. This info is important because in Disney you are on your feet standing in line and walking around the park all day. The BW Plus Stovall Inn is way closer, across the intersection of Disneyland Drive and it looks newer and safer. Breakfast...there is none. The Inn gives you a paper bag with a small bottled water, apple and granola bar. This was actually a nice snack while waiting in line at the park. They give you a voucher that is good for 2 people to eat selected items at Denny's which is next door. However, it is only good from 7:00 am to 10:00 am. We left to walk to the park by 6:30 to take advantage of early entry or to beat the lines so we were not able to use the vouchers. *Tip, early morning is the best time at the Disney parks, no ride lines. On the positive side, the front desk personnel were very nice and helpful and housekeeping did a good job cleaning and making up the room every day. There is a guest laundry with a detergent vending machine that closes at 9:00 pm. It costs $2 for detergent, $2 for a wash load, and $2 for a dryer cycle which was long enough to dry our clothes. You can get quarters from the front desk. There are a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker in the room with complimentary coffee, tea and hot chocolate packets.
Great location to Disneyland. Rooms were clean enough for an economy stay.Breakfast is in the Denny's next door. Food is above average for BW but you will take longer than other BW grab and go options.
rooms are a little dated, but updated and very clean. room service and staff were great. clean outdoor heated pool and hot tub (salt water not chlorine). breakfast (Denny's next door) was included in our stay. 15-20min walk to Downtown Disney or a 5-10min drive to the Disney parking lot.
Stayed here 5 nights in October. Great location for Disney. 15 min walk. Plenty of parking. The rooms were of a good size, clean and comfortable. Shop nearby for water etc. Also a couple of eating places too. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our first room was on the ground floor and there was a bit of noise from the room above. We asked for a nice and this was accommodated no problem. All in all a good stay and would happily stay again. Air con was a bit noisy, but it's funny how you get used to it.
A 10-15 minute walk from Downtown Disney so couldn't complain about the location. Staff were very friendly. You get a free breakfast at Denny's next door and they also give you a bag in the lobby containing fruit, water and a granola bar each morning. The air conditioning unit in the room was very loud, but when it wasn't on, we could here music coming from outside, through the vents. Only on the first night though so this wasn't really an issue. I'd definitely stay here again.
I would not go back to this particular Best Western hotel. It's outdated and smelly. Carpet has odor . The air conditioner controls were located close to the ceiling, needed to step on a chair and onto the counter to reach them. The room color motif is brown, totally outdated.
From when we checked in to the next night we talked about how this was our new hotel we would stay at whenever visiting Disneyland. But the second night we went into our room and my 5-year-old pointed out a huge cockroach on our wall. This was my very first experience with cockroaches and I hope to never, ever experience that again at a hotel. We called about the roach and a maintenance guy came, checked our room and sprayed. He did find some gross old candy under the bed, perhaps that is what attracted the bug, who knows how long that had been under there, it was pretty far under though and I double the vacuum would reach under there. He was so nice and calming about the situation, we are pretty sure when we opened the door to see if he was coming the little guy went out because my mom killed one outside our room right after that. We did see more but always right outside the rooms, we had to call again the next night and we waited but nobody came. We can't be sure they didn't come spray the door and just didn't knock though. When my mom talked to the front desk guy he said it has to do with them trimming plants and trees along the walkway. I feel that maybe they should spray when the trim those plants to help the situation, although since I don't have experience with the bugs I have no idea if that would work. We rotate between about five hotels when we go to Disneyland and have never had a cockroach experience before. It did make for a lack of sleep on this trip, I was pretty freaked out, the roach was gigantic! Besides the roach situation this hotel was practically perfect! The pool was great, it had a really deep end which is fun for jumping in as adults. The room set up was great, the housekeeping staff was fabulous and friendly, the ladies at the front desk the day we checked in were so nice and let us check in early. It was an easy walk to Paradise Pier and Disneyland Hotel, walking to the park is pretty far though. It has an ART stop right in front so that was super convenient. My only other gripe is like most others on here. We had three people in our room but only two people get the breakfast at Denny's in the parking lot. I prefer hotels to have a breakfast room so you don't have to go sit down somewhere. Plus, you have to pay for anyone over two people in your room to get the breakfast. They do give you to go bags if asked that include a little water, an apple, and a granola bar. We did that one of the days and liked that option. So basically this hotel would have made my list of go-to hotels near Disneyland but I just can't after the cockroach situation.
We visited in Sept 2018 for 4 nights. Clean & tidy hotel, had everything we required in our room including fridge, hairdryer but no safe. (You can use a safety deposit box in the reception area). Staff were helpful & courteous. 15 mins walk to Disney or the hotel has a shuttle bus that stops there for we believe $5.50 return. Denny's next door and we were provided with vouchers to use for a breakfast included with the price of the hotel room. So, so far, so good.........all positive! BUT....the walls are paper thin, we had a room on the ground floor. We could hear above and to the side of us whether someone was snoring, watching tv, talking or their children were running around. Now you expect it to a degree, 2 nights were over a weekend too, so a busier time, but what we didn't expect was to be woken at 3.40am to find a drainage truck appearing to be cleaning the carpark drains.....that was the first night. The following 3 nights were worse! We don't know what was at the back of the hotel, but assumed it was local residents, who were talking, shouting, partying and revving up motorbikes. The noise didn't come from the hotel. We had an air-conditioning unit at the back of the room and the noise seemed to be coming through that. Despite earplugs, it was the 4 worst nights stay of our holiday and despite the hotel having a lot going for it, we would NEVER chose to stay there again or recommend it either. Because of this problem it also gave us a feeling of not feeling wholly safe, the warnings within an information paper in our room advising us of tips for our safety also compounded this feeling too.
This was a great value place that had all the amenities we could wish for. The rooms are huge with two double beds and plenty of space all around.Stay were friendly and being able to leave your car in the car Park until 3pm on the day you leave is useful. Parking is free and there is plenty of it.Breakfast is across the road at Denny's where you cam choose three items and drink. The food was good but I'd say offering 4 items rather than three would make all the difference. You don't get a breakfast voucher for children staying on your room which is annoying. The location is perfect for the price. A 15 min maximum walk to downtown Disney although you can reduce this to ten mins easily if you cut through the car park across the road from the hotel.Overall a great stay, would definitely recommend.
The hotel was a great selection for a DL trip - it's walking distance to the parks and offers a free breakfast from Denny's, located right next to the hotel! The check in speedy and staff was helpful!
While this was an older structure, the interior of the property (rooms and lobby) were absolutely top notch. Everything was modernized and useful, and the staff was extremely helpful in all aspects of my stay (from friendly greeting at check-in to help with unique parking needs). Great place, great people and a great stay.
We returned here for the second time in 3 years. Our first visit in October 2016 and again recently in October 2018. It's a very convenient area because the ART shuttle picks you up right outside each morning to Disneyland, an hour to opening. Also, Denny's restaurant is adjacent to the hotel. You have complimentary breakfast. Many other restaurants are on the street nearby also. It's safe and the rooms were very clean with an accommodating and helpful staff.
The staff at this hotel was Excellent! Rooms very clean, reasonable price, comfortable beds & the location is great and is close to lots of great restaurants and attractions. I would highly recommend this hotel.
We booked this hotel for a family trip to Disneyland. We were pleasantly surprised with the hotel, services and amenities. The location was perfect, just a short 5 minute walk across the Simba parking lot and your in Downtown Disney. Lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance of the hotel as well. The hotel itself is a little older but very well maintained. Everything worked as it was supposed to, the beds were very comfortable and the saltwater pool was great! Some of the pros we observed: -location -cleanliness -pool -quiet area -View of the fireworks -free coffee all day at the front desk -grab and go snack bag for every guest everyday -free parking Some of the cons: -AC is loud in the rooms. -the fridge is a little small -the Denny's breakfast is only for 2 people per day but we have 4 people in our party. Makes no sense. Overall we were really happy at the BW Pavilions and will use them again if we return to the area.
From check-in to check-out, everything about this stay was great. Room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the pool our first afternoon there. Anaheim Resort Transportation stop is right out front, and we spent three full days in the Disney parks with minimal travel time and no parking hassle/expense. We will be back!
My family and I stayed here for one week while we visited Disneyland. The hotel was clean, staff was friendly, and had a great pool. We would stay here again. Close by the shuttle to take us to Disneyland.
The hotel is right behind the disneyland parking lot, the couple of times we have stayed the rooms have been very clean. If you walk at a slow pace the hotel is 15 minutes away and if its a fast pace you do 10 minutes. They have free breakfast with a voucher at dennys for two people only. Its a great room at a great price.
Nice small hotel close to Disneyland. Room was very clean. Pool is behind the Denny's restaurant in the parking lot but my kids loved it. Could see the fireworks at night. Front desk very friendly and they offer a grab bag in the morning for breakfast. Stop for the art bus is literally right out front. Most of the time we ended up walking as the walk is pretty and not very far to get to the front gates. We will return for sure and look forward to our next visit.
We were a party of 8 with 3 families. When we arrived it appeared that Virgin hadn't booked a room for one of the families which wasn't a particularly good start after a very long drive from Yosemite. This was eventually resolved and down to a seeming lack of communication from Virgin and Best Western not having a Virgin number. So even if you book with someone as reputable as Virgin it's always worth double checking your bookings direct! This is more like a motel than a hotel and being a seasoned business traveller I'm always dubious if the carpets are dark brown as they can hide all sorts! The room had two comfortable queen sized beds, ideal for me and my 12-year-old. The air conditioning was powerful. The rooms are very brown and a lick of brighter paint would give that clean and fresh feel. That said as the days went on I realised that (despite the brown carpet) the rooms were cleaned every day, sheets and towels changed etc. So a very clean and tidy room every day was much appreciated. On the last day we used the pool and again I noticed that this and the toilets at the pool were very clean and tidy. The hard-working receptionists were always very helpful. It's next to a Denny's restaurant and we were given two vouchers from which we could choose 3 breakfast items for free (and including a drink). This was a godsend after the massive breakfast prices in San Francisco where we had been earlier in the holiday. The vouchers allowed a choice of three out of about 10 items. Praise to the staff at Denny's who worked hard and were always friendly and helpful. This motel is absolutely ideal for Disney and there's a regular bus to Disney from outside. It's an easy walk too, approx. a mile and a nice walk to Downtown Disney which has lots of restaurants and shops (without needing to go into DisneyWorld)
We chose this hotel cos we went to disneyland. We usually went with uber (1,7km) and came back on foot. The hotel is clean, but the air conditioning was a bit noisy. They don`t have kitchen, so they give you a voucher to have breakfast in dennys, in front of the hotel
Conveniently located near Disneyland, this hotel offers comfortable beds in decent size rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful. A hot breakfast is provided at the Denny's next door to the hotel. An elevator is only in one of the two buildings.
Careful when booking, verify all before commitment or you will wind up with less and charged more. Booking.com stated breakfast for all but that was not the case, careful with taxes in California and added charges.
Stayed here last week as a family of 4, myself, husband, 2 children aged 17 & 12. Room was great with everything you need including a hairdryer, microwave, coffee making facilities. If you are visiting Disney it is in an ideal location, about a 10 minute walk. There is a Dennys right next door which is ideal for breakfast. While we were there they closed our pool but we were allowed to use the one at the sister hotel that was only a couple of minutes walk from our hotel. The staff were very accommodating and helped us book a trip and rang the company to confirm pick up times/location for us. Would highly recommend this hotel.
The hotel is very well located for visiting the Disney parks. For the purpose of visiting LA, I would not recommend it, since it will take you about 1.5 hours to get there, because of all trafic jams. Our complements for the front desk staff: the young man was very friendly, provided us with good information regarding all activities and restaurants in the area. This is what hospitality and service is supposed to be! The room was of a decent size and was clean. In the room, a TV, (mini)fridge and microwave are available. The AC might be a little noisy, but for us it was no problem while sleeping. Bathroom was als clean and had a good shower. Breakfast posibilities are at Dennie's. We didn't use it, since we found it very strange that you are only provided with a voucher for 2 persons and we were with 3 adults. So, breakfast is free, but not for every one in the room. Management, please think about that one! Disney is only a 15 minute walk away, or you can take the shuttle ($3 per person, cash only).
We recently stayed at this hotel for a 50th wedding anniversary at Disneyland that we were participating in. The hotel was clean, close to Disney, had a 24 hour Dennys right on the property and a great location for the fireworks. The hotel is directly across the street from a shortcut to the Disney parks so it was an easy 10 minute walk to Downtown Disney. The staff were very curteous and although we had a couple of days where supplies were not replenished properly the problem was rectified by the front desk immediately when mentioned. The pool and hot tub have great hours and our room had a fridge for our picnic meals to the disney parks. We would recommend this hotel to anyone else especially if Disney is a part of your travel plans and would stay here again in a heartbeat.
My kids enjoyed the room and i enjoyed the jacuzzi after walking the whole day at Disneyland. Parking was great and having Dennys restaurant next door was also easy and affordable. We were able to relax and have fun at the same time.
The best part about this hotel is the staff. They are extremely courteous, friendly and eager to please. Whatever we needed, whether it was an early check-in, suggestions for places to eat or something needed for the room, the satisfaction of their guests was clearly important to them. We arrived early and they had our room ready without any problem. I accidentally deactivated my key several times by keeping it too close to my credit cards, and they patiently replaced my key every time with a smile. If Disneyland interests you, the hotel is right across the street from the park, which makes the hotel's reasonable price even more impressive. For breakfast, they give vouchers to Denny's next door; you choose three items from a list and you get two of each choice, plus coffee or juice. You can't substitute, but you can eat the free food and pay for extra food if you wish. The rooms give you the basics and are sufficiently comfortable. The fitness center could have been better - no free weights; just a few treadmills and one other weight machine. It doesn't open until 8 AM and when we arrived at 8, we had to ask for it to be opened. In addition to Disney, the hotel is a 10-minute drive to Angels Stadium (our purpose for staying there) and is a short drive from downtown Anaheim. There are many restaurants nearby. If the price remains reasonable, we will definitely consider staying here again the next time we are in Anaheim.
Stayed here for 10 nights on our family holiday, wasn't sure really what to expect as we've never stayed in a motel before. Pros:- Beds were nice & comfortable and we had clean towels everyday. The pool although it's located in the carparking area was lovely. It was very clean with an abundant supply of clean pool towels & it was a lovely warm temperature, just what you need after a long hot day sightseeing. Denny's (which is literally on the doorstep) does a great breakfast & we didn't wait longer than 5 minutes for a table. Disney (both parks & downtown) are a 10-15 minute walk away. We did drive in the first day which cost us $20 dollars & took us about 40 minutes so if you can walk it's a much ( better way to go. Cons:- air conditioning unit is very noisy but we don't have the need for these in the Uk so not sure if it's normal to be so loud. The one thing that really let the place down was the carpet in the room. It was filthy, to look at it it looked fine but after walking around in socks or barefoot our feet were black. My feet were blacker from walking around inside the room than they were from walking around outside barefoot. Best western plus pavilions please clean your carpets.
During our vacation, my husband experienced a medical emergency. When we called 9-1-1 their staff was knocking on our door to see if they could help within seconds. When we weren't sure if we were going to be able to go home on our check out day, the manager, Lara, was willing to go out of her way to help us out and ensure we had a place to stay just in case it was needed. She even made sure I knew about the places near the hospital that I could hang out with our kids while he was in the ER if needed. Their customer service was above average. They even called to check on us later that day. The room itself was nice and clean. Comfy bed and awesome pillows. They offer grab and go snack packs as you are leaving for Disneyland. They sell shuttle passes and Disney tickets in the lobby. We received 2 daily breakfast (Build your own slam) tickets for the Denny's on site. The air conditioner in the room was loud but didn't wake us up at night when it would turn on.
Loved the hotel and service was great! Gave 4 out of 5 because of low water pressure in shower head and noticed night before checkout the refrigerator wasn't working. Other than that it was a great stay and would definitely stay again (but Check the refrigerator on arrival next time, lol). Have to say too the pillows was really comfortable and I wish I looked at the tags to see what brand they were. Would love them for my home!
The rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. I did not know it was a motel until I arrived. Some of the rooms have a view (obstructed) of the fireworks but my room did not and nobody offered me an option. With fees and taxes, I ended up paying around 170 per night and that was too much. The in room air conditioner is VERY loud and you can hear every step people take through the floor and walls. Denny's breakfast was good though.
The second floor does not have an elevator so if you have a lot of stuff, a stroller, or want to use a luggage cart that wont work. Our room was not very clean and carpet was musty and had a urine odor. The dennys voucher is good but didn't want to take the time since going to Disneyland. Would have preferred more options to eat at hotel quickly and be on our way.
The hotel is simple, but comfortable. It has a good price for the money, especially if you compare to others hotels located nearby. It is close to Disneyland but if you go walking, you're gonna spend about 20 minutes to get to the parks. Anaheim offers some buses which take to Disneyland and it costs 3 dollars each way por person and there is a bus stop just in front of this hotel. The room is big, with two double beds. The hotel offers free parking and the staff is very kind. The breakfast is a voucher that you can use at a Dennys branch that is open 24/7 (breakfast is untill 10h) and is located besides the hotel. We asked previously in the reservation for a room in the ground floor because there are no elevators, but unfortunatelly there was only rooms in the first floor, which is a big problem if you are travelling with big luggages like us. We would like to complain about the cleaning because the floor in my room was dirty, there was some dirt crumbs on it.
We chose to stay off Disney property while attending a direct sales conference at the convention center and Disney event. While it was conveniently located if you were driving and parking your car each time, it was a 10-15 minute walk to the convention center and 15-20 to Disney. I would definitely consider getting a bus pass for the next trip. The shower was inconsistent, fin in the morning but sometimes during the middle of the day or evening if you wanted to rinse off to cool off the water pressure was extremely low and/or cold.
The breakfast area is shared with a Denny's next door. Super long line. It was not even worth it for to wait. Plus, you only get to choose a few items from a piece of paper. Other Best Westerns have a small private breakfast buffet.
there staff was kind and helpful while we were there. Breakfast and location were good. Bus takes you to Disneyland. we checked out and drove back home and realized we left my straightener. it has
We arrived to find out free breakfast NOT free. You can have a grand slam at Denny's for 2 of the people in your room - watch out , it's dated so make sure you don't do like I do and save it for one day.. The room is super dingy and it's old and musty. Looks like they tried to do updates at one point and time but very poor. They wallpapered over texture, light switches crooked, thick peeling paint. The worst to me was the cleanliness. The sink felt dirty and I found hair in the tub, on the walls and worse - IN MY SHEETS! Just gross. I wouldn't recommend!
We usually stay at Best Western everywhere we go with excellent quality and service but this time, things were different. First, meals provided meant to go to Denny's for two meals with only 3 small portion items so we had to purchase my granddaughter's meal each time. We were thinking that there was a full breakfast provided like the other BW we had stayed at. Had we known, we would have stayed at a more inexpensive place and ate elsewhere. Second, we were told that the walk to the park was 10-15 minutes. It was 20-25 minutes to get to the front gate and at 10:30 at night with a 4 year old, it was not fun PLUS, the first time we went, the path is not easily marked so we were delayed that much more. We really didn't realize there were other transportation options until the last night (3rd night) when we saw some people getting off of a shuttle two hotels down. We were pretty upset as we didn't really know to ask being not too familiar with the area. We really felt that we should have been told our transportation options when we arrived. When we went to check out, the lady at the desk was a little bit rude and even said we could have ridden the "Monarail" out! That would have been soooo much better and just added to disappointment.
My fiance and I stayed for 4 nights at the end of June 2018 and had a great experience. The accommodations were nice, staff was accommodating and the beds were comfortable. We did not spend a lot of time at the hotel because our reason for booking was to visit Disneyland. The distance to the parks was good, about a 15-20 minute walk through the employee parking lot across the street. We found ourselves in Downtown Disney in about 7-10 minutes and stopped at the Starbucks for our morning caffeine fix on the way to the park everyday! As two 25 year olds we were able to make the walk easily (although the end of our 3rd day had us drafting our feet!) and the fact that we were cutting through a well-lit parking lot made the walk feel safe even at midnight. The breakfast at Denny's was a nice perk. My fiance dined twice during our stay and was happy to have the option available. The pool and hot tub were fine, we swam on our first night and had a good time. Overall, we would stay again if we visit in the future although we might consider a closer hotel if traveling with children or our parents.
I would've gave this hotel five stars. Our room was very nice, the maids did a good job cleaning our room every day. It was nice having a Denny's in the same parking lot, we went there every night after Disneyland and got a good meal. The pool was amazing, I did not like the Jacuzzi because I think you have way too many chemicals going on in the Jacuzzi, enough that my skin is burned on my legs from being irritated from the Jacuzzi chemicals . Here is my only complaint my daughter drove there from Salt Lake City, and I drove there from Las Vegas. We shared a room and were told we were only allowed to have one car parked at the hotel. When I went to the front desk to try to get a pass to park my car, I was told that I should've called in advance to ask for two parking spots . Since that's not a common thing to call and ask for it slipped my mind. So for tonight straight I had to leave Disneyland five hours early to go pick up my car from whatever parking garage it was at, and literally driving in circles to get a parked again for the night. It cost us a small fortune to do that.($73 dollars a day) The Denny's parking lot was empty and I even went in there and asked the Denny's people if I could park there as we were patronizing the hotel and they informed me that the hotel owns the parking lot at Denny's And we were not allowed to park there. Finally on the third night we were told we could park in one of the long parking spots on the side and park both of our cars back to back, which we appreciated but we were not offered the same courtesy the first two nights and nobody was parked in the Long stalls they sat empty. The front desk person the first two nights was rude and had no customer service skills. On the third night we actually got a really nice guy who was happy to help and give us a parking pass. I would absolutely stay there again if they fixed their parking situation. I missed out on two nights at Disneyland with my grandchildren to deal with a car parking nightmare. Disappointed
We bought you last minute Disney vacation and stayed here, while the room was a little on the small size for our family with 4 kids under 10,it got the job done. The staff was friendly and it was within a reasonable distance to Disneyland. The biggest downside was that the ART route attached to the hotel is slow and consistently behind schedule.
I was thoroughly disappointed in this hotel booking. Especially the staff that worked there. All seemed bored to be working and none were happy, smiley or helpful. When we got there it turns out their pool was closed for maintenance, which was notnposted anywhere when I made the booking. Then we were told we could wald down to a sister property to use their pool. Well first off, if I knew the pool was going to be closed I would have booked at the sister property to begin with and secondly, I am a disabled person who cannot just walk to the sister property with ease. I asked if we could park in the handicap spots at the other hotel while going to the pool and the front desk person was not very helpful nor even willing to help me with the situation. We ended up driving there and dropping me off near the pool entrance and then my husband drove back to our hotel, parked and walked over to meet me. Then we couldn't get into the pool without a key which turns out we were supposed to get from the front desk staff. Additionally, the beds stated we had a queen size room but they were VERY SMALL Queens (were more like full size) the room was relatively clean but smelled musty and when I took a shower the sink backed up. The walls were so thin that my family was able to hear our neighbors having a wonderful and passionate time at around 1am. For the price that I paid, $167/night, I expected more, especially since I have paid equal at other places in the Disneyland area and had a much better experience. I will never stay here and I will be writing this same review on the hotels ratings.
Stayed here because of location. Just over the road from Disney and a 10 min walk to downtown Disney so no need for car parking or a bus. Stayed for 3 nights and the first night was the worst nights sleep I had in ages. Beds very small for doubles and air con just too noisy. Second night we didn't have the air con on but also just had a sheet over me so slept better but I think that was due to all the walking in the parks. Breakfast option at dennys small and you only get it for 2 guests when we had a room of 4?? To be fair we only slept in the room and didn't spend much time in it but we needed a good night's sleep and didn't really get that
We recently stayed for 3 nights. Price was great for the area... service was amazing and quick! Asked for extra towels and they were delivered within just minutes!! Rooms are a little dated, but very very clean, no weird smells. Location to Disney and the convention center is perfect. Pool area is small, but clean and maintained. Breakfast included, but for only 2 people (@ Denny's which shares the same parking lot). Only downside is that you can only pick 3 items on the list from the voucher given. Great value and overall very satisfied with our stay! Will stay there again.
I booked here last minute due to being unhappy with another hotel in the area I was going to stay at for the week. They let me check in early around 10:00 a.m so we were able to get to the park after having to switch hotels. The girl at the front desk Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday morning was great. She was helpful and always had a smile. The room was clean and well maintained. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel and is a 5 minute ride to the park. The only reason I didn't give this hotel a five is because the secondary window lock was broken and I reported the first day and it was never fixed. The primary lock worked and the window was secure so not a big deal. Also, the shower curtain is a little to short and let's the water run on the bathroom floor. Those small issues were easy to overlook and we enjoyed our stay. We have annual passes to the park so we will return.
The motel wasn't too bad. Everything was up to date and clean (except the bathroom door which was clearly skipped on the update and stands out as a cheap motel piece). The kids loved the pool and hot tub. We thought the hot tub could be a few degrees warmer though. We also found the beds were not super comfortable according to our tastes. If you stay for Disneyland, it will be a decent hike which ended up being a lot for our kids for our 4 day trip (I highly recommend cutting through the employee parking lot right across the street). Taking the Monorail between Downtown Disney and Tomorrowland cuts the walk almost in half.
When we go to Disneyland, we always choose to stay at this hotel. It is a 15-minute walk to Disney and is very affordable. The staff is very friendly and the rooms have recently been refurbished. I really like the excellent amenities of free parking and free breakfast at the Denny's next door. You can also get outstanding pizza from Marri's next door. Keep in mind that it can have some noise since a lot of kids stay here.
This hotel is a 15 min. walk from Disneyland. It's clean and quiet, close to shopping. Comfortable bed, good wifi. And in room safe would be nice. Free breakfast at onsite Denny's. Only used this once, wasn't that impressed with the food. I would recommend this hotel.
Nice rooms. The beds were very confortable. Plenty of pillows . Which was nice too have. Very clean. The breakfast option was a little disappointing only because we were a family of 3 and only received a voucher that would cover 2 people a day. Never told that this was this stipulation when making reservations . The breakfast is at Denny' s which was just pick 3 from a list of options. Other best western have the breakfast in hotel which was a lot nicer .
The good 1. Price of the room for its location is excellent. 2. The location can't be beat you are far enough for the price but close enough to watch the fireworks in the hotel spa. Plus there is a Denies, liqure and Mart store a mex and Italian restaurant all in 100 metres from the hotel. 3. The pool and spa are clean and well needed after walking all day at Disneyland. 4. The tv has plenty of content. 5. Plenty of free parking 6. The rooms are large 7. Wifi is fast The bad 1. There is no in room safe 2. The showers need upgrading. 3. No PowerPoints next to the bed to charge phones. 4. The rooms are dark and the aircon loud 5. There was a cockroach on the bed.
I had a great nice sleep. The air conditioning unit was noisy but the bed was comfortable. The walk to Disneyland was too far and that was the second fault on this hotel. Breakfast was at the Dennys, in the adjacent parking lot. Service was excellent and food was filling. Not greasy as assumed.
My husband and I had a wonderful room on the second floor. The beds and pillows are wonderful. We liked that we were at the end of the walkway so we didn't have other guest's walking by. The spot even allowed us to view the Disneyland fireworks from our room! You can walk to the park but it was a little farther than my husband could do so we used the shuttle which was very convenient.
This hotel is located within walking distance to Downtown Disney and the two theme parks! The rooms are comfortable and clean! We had a microwave, small fridge and a coffee maker! The swimming pool and hot tub are a great way to relax after spending the day at the parks! Breakfast is included and consists of vouchers at the Denny's, located on the property or you can ask for a “grab & go” bag which includes a small bottle of water, granola bar and apple! If driving, parking is complimentary!
Had a perfect stay at this hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms, the pool and hot tub was nice after a long day of walking. The complimentary breakfast at Denny's was so convenient and appreciated. Shuttle right out front only 5 minutes to Disneyland but was easy to get out of the area on Katella with our rental car.
Loved this hotel. Within walking distance to Disneyland. So many places to enjoy within walking distance. Saw the Disney fireworks from our window. Dennys will deliver meals to your room. Enjoy swimming in the pool.
This is an excellent hotel for making a Disneyland visit. The rooms are well appointed, clean and quiet. The hotel has great staff and easy access with ample parking. The pool area is inviting. The hotel provides breakfast coupons for the Denny's next door. Getting to Disneyland is easy, using either ART shuttle #9 (every 20 minutes) or 20 minute walk.
Trying to do this trip on a budget, when looking for a hotel for a 8 night stay, everything closer to Disney was either booked out or very expensive, not realizing at the time there was a lot of dance, choir, marching band tours at Disney at the same time. Decided on the Best Western it met all my needs and fitted the budget, but would be a longer walk then previously use to. The walk, cutting through the employee car park didn't take anytime at all. Breakfast at Denny's was nice. Probably the best thing about the stay that I didn't expect was the view of the nightly fireworks.
Great service, staff was very nice and friendly. Room was always clean and set up perfect like you just checked in every day. Could not ask for a better visit. Best part of all you can park your vehicle in front of your room.
I stayed here last week for a Disney trip, and the fab fords forever show... friendly staff, clean rooms, complimentary vouchers for breakfast at Denny's... pretty close to Disneyland parks... would definitely stay here again
Great Hotel near Disneyland. Second stay at this hotel and the room was great. Clean bathroom and an upgraded shower since previous time. Denny's Breakfast for 2 is small but tasty. Salt water pool is cool. It is in my opinion that if you are already walking around Disneyland all day, this is close enough to return during the afternoon for a swim or a nap.
We had to find a hotel near the Anaheim Convention Center and chose this one as it was one of the lowest priced with high reviews. We were happy with the hotel and the fact that it was so close to everything (easy walking distance) my daughter had a room down the street that was 3times the price and she liked ours better. It Included breakfast at Denny's that was great.
Best place to stay for Disneyland....Comfortable and clean rooms...Helpful and courteous staff....Nice pool and spa area....Denny's right next door and ART bus right out front of hotel. Only 1.5 miles from Disneyland.
We stayed at this hotel on our last visit to Disneyland. This location was recommended to us by a close friend who has stayed here in the past. We arrived an hour early before check-in and the hotel let us check in and our room was ready. I had previously requested during booking the second floor close to the front office and my request was honored. The room was very clean and spacious. It had everything we needed for our stay. The bonus to this hotel is that it includes a full service breakfast voucher for the Denny's located right next-door to the hotel. The Denny's has several options that are gluten free as well. The gluten free English muffin were yummy. With your voucher you pick 3 items and a drink. It is clearly listed on the voucher what you can order. The only downside about the breakfast is you can not take it to go you have to eat in the restaurant. The time we stayed the hotel was very quiet and very little traffic passing by the hotel. It is quite a long walk to Disneyland (15 minutes or less) but it is definitely doable. If you do not want to walk they do have the public transit that stops right in front of the hotel. What we did is we walked to Disneyland and then after Disneyland closed we took an Uber/Lyft back to the hotel ($6 or less). We only stayed for 1 night but I would definitely consider this hotel in the future depending on the price. Another bonus to this hotel is that check out is at noon, which gives you extra time if you have a late night at Disneyland like we did.
Just a short walk to the Anaheim convention center and Downtown Disney. Only issue is the need to use a voucher to at Denny's for breakfast instead of their own facility. Everything was clean and ready, definite high-five to the housekeeping staff!
The need was the most comfortable we've had so far in our 11 nights in CA. So we stayed an extra night. Clean updated rooms. Free limited breakfast at Denny's was nice. Got tub was nice, although could have been a little hotter.
My family of four recently stayed here as we were spending 2 days at Disneyland. The beds were extremely comfortable and the pillows were to die for. So much so that I wrote down what kind of pillows they were so I could purchase myself one. However, I forgot the look to see if the pillow was soft, medium or firm. So, I called the front desk after my stay. I explained what I was looking for, and they placed me on hold. A few minutes went by and he came back on the line to say he went to a room to check the pillow for me. That is what I call GREAT SERVICE!!! Also, the Denny's next door had tremendous service as well and the complimentary breakfast was great for us prior to spending the days in Disney!
We pick this place to stay in Anaheim, price is what we can afford and it is clean and comfortable. It is a half mile walk to our destination and an easy walk. We don't have to worry about the high parking rate at the Convention Center.
Staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. Our experience there was easy and comfortable. Check in and check out was easy and fast. They allowed us to park our van for extended hours to accommodate our time at Disney.
I would stay here again. Walking distance to everything. Good service, clean rooms and quiet. They have breakfast vouchers to Denny's next door. I would recommend changing the hours on the vouchers to an earlier time. like 5-10 for those who need to eat early.
I enjoyed the hotel. I had no complaints with exception of the breakfast. I wish it was on site and not a voucher to Denny's. That's not a big issue though. I will definitely be back. The property is well maintained and very clean.
We arrived Feb 26th 2018 and left Mar 3rd, 2018 - in all our visit was peaceful, relaxing and enjoyable. We arrived super early, and were expecting to have to store our luggage and not get a room until later. Our room was ready at 9am :) it was so nice to freshen up, put stuff away and head to the park. If this is your first time to the park, the walk is nice but the ART bus/shuttle is very nice and tickets can be purchased at the front desk. We walked the first few days, but we have a traveler that has a few medical needs and we opted for the shuttle after day 2 - tired feed and crabby travelers dont mix well for a walk back. The hotel is very clean, and was taken care of so nicely while we were at the park. Turning after a long day, to a clean room is super nice. The pool area is wonderful and heated :) A good soak is nice before bedtime. Denny's is next door, it was something we didnt expect (i didn't make the travel arrangements). Having stayed at the Stovalls Inn down the street, there is a continental breakfast there. But the Pavilions has Dennys and Coco's is down the street. Checking out was wonderful - we had to wait for our airport transport and they saw us waiting and wanted to make sure we hadnt been skipped. It was nice to have someone check on us to make sure everything was ok. Make sure to check your room when you pick - our beds were doubles and if you are use to sleeping with someone in a Queen or King - you will notice the lack of room. If you have questions, feel free to ask. In all, its a nice place to stay with friendly people. There is a convenience store on the back side of the hotel.
This is a great location! We had room 201, a double room connected by a sliding room divider. One room with 3!! double beds and a room with a king bed. This room is above the office so no noise at night even though it is on the street side. There is an elevator (that I didn't find until lugging my bag upstairs, so look for it at the end of the building). Two bathrooms, one with a walking shower and one with a tub, all the amenities in both. It felt very luxurious for we weary travelers. Denny's was just across the drive and each room received a 2 coupons for the build your own breakfast. This would be a terrific place for a family, including grandparents. It is walkable to Disneyland but we saved our feet and time by having LYFT take us to and from the Main Gate, cost was never over $7. well worth it. There is a shuttle but with only one day we didn't want to wait for it ! February at Disney was perfect, never waited more than 40mins for a ride and with the app on our phones we could judge the wait time for rides, we were there from 10am to 10pm, and went of every ride in "original" Disneyland and had a late snack at the resort. Try Trader Sams Tiki bar there, What a Hoot !!! **if you are a Tiki fan, their mugs are the least expensive we found on our personal SoCal Tiki tour !!!
Close but still a 12-15 min walk. Included a breakfast at Denny's next door which was delivered fast and cooked just right. Allowed us to park for free while at Disney even on our day of checkout which was great. Room was musty smelling at first until we opened all windows and aired it out- maybe 30 min and it was better. I liked that it had a tub. The beds were clean and comfy. Actually everything looked very clean so not sure why the smell. The outdoor pool and hot tub were nice. For those who have annual passes to the park, you can take the monorail from downtown Disney right to Tomorrowland and miss all the long lines at the gate. At the end of the day, we left thru Calif adventure thru the Grand Californian and took a taxi back. $6 Handy to have Denny's next door for an inexpensive dinner
Me and my girlfriend just spent 7 nights here for a Disneyland vacation. The hotel was pretty much what we expected. Close enough to the park that we could walk there and back. The rooms were nice and cleaned and cleaned daily to our liking. The free breakfast at Denny's everyday saved us over $100 right there. No it wasn't a huge selection, but it was free and did the trick. It was great coming back after a long day of walking the parks to dip in the hot tub to relax before bed. The pool and hot tub were both open until 11 which was fantastic. My only complaint would have to be the small not so comfy pillows on the bed. But the bed overall was comfy enough to get a decent night sleep for the duration of the stay. We would be happy to stay here again if we do another Disney vacation.
This is an older motel type establishment. It has been updated. It is clean and well located (i.e. I was able to walk to/from the convention center). The staff is very helpful. Tori was running the front desk when I arrived. She is awesome and helpful... I recommend this hotel. I will return again... PT
This location provided excellent value with a comfortable room, a nice pool/spa, friendly staff, and great prices. The only issue was a slight mildew smell in the room. Guests staying here who intend to arrive for rope-drop at Disneyland will find the breakfast vouchers for Denny's useless as the service begins at 7am; this would make one arrive late at the park when it opens at 8am.
It's fairly priced for the location (visiting Disneyland, its easily walking distance). It isn't the nicest hotel in the area by any means but for the price you'll have some place clean to sleel and the beds are quite comfy. The breakfast is actually provided by the Danny's next to the hotel which is really nice. Only real complaint is we couldn't leave the car for our 2nd day at Disney (our departure date) which meant moving it and paying for parking else where which is a bit disappointing. Especially since there is so much parking. Staff was great though. Overall would recommend it to someone who doesn't want to pay Disney prices for their hotel and doesn't mind a little walk to the park (there might've been a bus too, we're young and don't mind walking though so didn't look into it).
Liked the fridge and microwave, roomy area with mirror to get ready, nice bathroom. TIP - shortcut to walk to disneyland - across the street is the employee parking lot. Corner of S Walnut and W Katella ave. Turn left after the hotel building, and take downtown drive to get to the security gate/check. Should be before the AMC movie theatre. This takes you to the downtown disney/main street entrance. take tram to tomorrow land! Done.
This hotel was very average. Nothing made it special or above average. Typical super 8 type motel. Walls were very thin so we could hear people below us snoring all night. Wish they offered in hotel breakfast as they give you only 2 vouchers per room for breakfast dennys. So you are stuck paying for anyone else in your room everyday and have to wait restaurant service. I did however like the grab and go bags were great for the kids to snack during the day at Disneyland.
Stayed at the best western plus pavilion Sunday night . Best stay we have been in last two years for sure. From the booking to the checking out all was above expectations. Finally one great stay . They took care of all our needs they were helpful, very clean, very nice spacious room that was a plus even got us extra rollaway and we still had room for all our guests for comfortable night for all. Clean helpful courteous. Staff employees went out there way to help when we were late and breakfast was outstanding with great servers pool and spa clean comfortable setting. Tv and internet connection was fast. Quiet place not far from either place we had to go they even help us with calls to places we were going second day as government shutdowns happened while we were in route for our two days. The mapping direction were right on ,made it easier to traveling to nest site . How good is that ! We had pictures couldn't get them to load sorry to say.
Close to Disney, easy walk to downtown Disney and parks. Rooms are okay, essentially a motel. Hotel doesn't provide breakfast but provides vouchers for food at Denny's next door which works well. Only complaint is no in room safe for valuables
The room was all we needed as we were spending the day at Disneyland. This motel is out of the way. It is a 30 min walk to Disney. It was fine for us but it would not have been if we had small children. The breakfast at Denny's was fine but it would have been nice if takeout was offered.
All aspects were great. It took us 15 mins to walk to the front gate of Disneyland. We walked through the employee vehicle entrance and then through Downtown Disney. On the way back we went through California Adventure and through the one hotel. As it only took us 10 mins to get back to our room. Everything was very clean and the service was excellent.
This place was clean, comfortable and a great location. The beds were great and the room had everything that we needed. The staff was helpful and breakfast was great. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay here again.
I stay here due to the proximity to Disneyland, it's a quick walk to the parks, and because I get the Best Western rewards. If you book enough in advance the prices are in line with the cheaper cost hotels. All BW hotels have decent beds, bathrooms, come with microwave and fridge with a good TV and channels. The housekeeping staff does a good job with the cleaning. They do not offer breakfast, but they do give Denny's breakfast vouchers and they offer a "go bag" in the morning with an apple, a granola bar, and a small water. I'm usually in too much of a hurry to get to Disneyland to where breakfast doesn't matter anyways. The Stovall's BW is a few hotels closer, but is usually a little more and they charge for parking, but they have a full breakfast. Both are good to stay in. The BW on Ball Rd is nice too, but the walk is further.
We always try to stay at a Best Wester Hotel when we travel ... had a hard time finding one during the time period we needed it. From the minute I contacted this hotel .. I could feel the caring they showed their guests. Thanks for a great stay in a great room and had a great time!!
We have recently been blessed to have stayed at this hotel. The experience started from the time we entered the reception. Helpful staff all round who were willing to go above and beyond to make our stay pleasurable. Highly recommended.
We arrived at the hotel on the 30th and checked out on the 2nd. Quick and friendly check in and were put in rooms on the back part of the complex on the 2nd floor, there is an elevator to the right if you have lots of suitcases but we used the stairs that were in front of the room. Newly refurbished the rooms have the typical amenities, coffee maker, fridge, 32 inch TV and a microwave. We had two beds in the room and they are small but comfortable with nice linen and soft pillows. You get a voucher for 2 guests for breakfast at the Dennys next door which is convenient and good. Go early because it is only from 7 to 10am and it is busy after 8. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel that will take you to the park but we used the Toy Story parking lot on Harbor Blvd which is 5 minutes away and you will be scanning your ticket to the park in 20 minutes, much faster than the using Mickey and Friends lot. The bus is $15 per person per day and the lot is $20 per car. Loved our stay here at the Pavilions and will use them again, with the only downside being the size of the beds. Thanks again to your friendly staff for making our stay enjoyable. Oh did I mention there is free parking!
Everything was excellent, except for breakfast. They should have their own breakfast as opposed to offering breakfast vouchers at Denny's so every guest is able to eat since only 2 vouchers per room is given. Other than that, the room was nice, the beds were comfortable and there were free Keurig coffee in the lobby which is great!
We spent 2 nights at the Best Western Plus Pavilions in December 2017 for our visit to Disneyland. It was perfect for us and exceeded my expectations (particularly due to the very reasonable pricing). The room was spacious, clean, quiet and had the convenience of coffee, toaster, microwave etc. Our room package included breakfast vouchers for Denny's which is located in the hotel block. The hotel is within walking distance to some eateries, but Denny's was convenient and offered a good breakfast selection in the package which we enjoyed. You're also about a 5-10 min walk away from a 7 Eleven if you need supplies. We were comfortable to walk from the hotel to Disneyland (which took about 15-20 mins) and it's an easy flat walk walk. You can just as easy get an Uber or a cab if that was your preference. The hotel has both laundry facilities and laundry service. We used the laundry facilities and did our own washing which was convenient and only a few dollars. The hotel staff were friendly, helpful. We would stay here again and would recommend this hotel to couples or families who are planning to visit Disneyland.
Nothing special about this hotel. We stayed there more for the location near Disneyland than anything else. They said that they recently reno'd the place, but it looked more like they upgraded the outer shell of the hotel outside and inside. The rooms walls and ceiling were paper thin and we felt like the other guests were in the room with us.
We stayed at the Best Western for 3 nights for a trip to the Disneyland parks. We got in around 9pm the night before our first day at the park. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. We had no problem checking in to the motel. They let us know that we could come pick up to-go snack packs in the morning - we did pick those up every morning. They had a small water bottle, granola bar and an apple. That was a nice perk to bring with us to the parks. The motel is 2 stories tall and we stayed on the 2nd floor. We had a room with 2 beds - the beds seemed pretty small in size. They must have only been full beds instead of queen beds. The room itself was really nice. We were happy with the room and it was clean. At 9:30pm we could hear the fireworks and we were excited to see that we could watch the fireworks right from our room. However - and a big problem - hearing fireworks isn't so much of a problem, but the following mornings and evenings we realized that we could hear everything!! The windows are definitely not double-paned. At 5:30 in the morning we were woken up by a truck reversing (beep beep beep) in to the Dennys that shares the same parking lot. The following morning we heard a gardener with a leaf blower at 6:30 in the morning!! I would have rated this motel a 4, but the noise issue is too big to disregard so I have to bring it down to a 3 star rating. Also, although they say that there is free breakfast, it's really just 2 vouchers to be redeemed at Dennys. The vouchers are very specific in what they can be used for - on the back of the voucher it lists about a dozen menu items and you can choose 3 of those items as part of the package. We had to order separately for our kids and of course leave gratuity. In the future, I would rather stay at a hotel that has self-serve breakfast in the lobby - going to Dennys wasted a lot of time! They don't accept the vouchers until 7am and by the time you order and get your food and finish it's already 8am. I would rather already be at the Disney park by 8am (opening time while we were visiting). Although the motel says that it is a 15 minute walk to Disneyland, it's really a 15 minute walk to Downtown Disney and then another 10-15 minute walk through Downtown Disney to get to the entrance of the parks. In the future, I think I would check out the hotels on Harbor street instead that are across from the bus area. According to our iPhone trackers, we walked 10 miles each day!! Overall, this is a decent motel but they would benefit greatly by upgrading to double pane windows!
Staff is very professional and kind. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The motel is within walking distance to Disneyland or you can pick up the shuttle right in front of the motel. I would stay here again.
Stayed here for 2 nights with my family to take the kids to Disneyland with 3 day park hopper tix. Rooms are small but clean. Website says rooms have been updated as far as décor, but they still looked a bit old to me. Overall the beds were comfy, clean and we had what we needed for our short stay including a small refrigerator and microwave. the closet is pretty small and so is the bathroom so if you are looking for luxury, this isn't for you. Great deal if you are on a budget as well.
What a lovely surprise this hotel was. On the outside it doesn't look very appealing. However the bed was like a giant cloud! Bathroom Was completely updated. 5 mins from Disney. Parking/bfast super ..
We stayed at this motel for a week and couldn't be more happier with it. Our room was at the back of the complex & upstairs so at night we couldn't hear the traffic. The room that we had (i think room 212) had 2 queen beds so we weren't squashed at night when sleeping. There was also a bar fridge, microwave and coffee/tea facilities. TV with a good variety of channels. Bathroom was bit small but still ok. Good shower head aswell. The bed was quite comfy and soft pillows. The only downside was that the rooms at the rear of the complex and upstairs don't have a lift. Only stairs. Motel has a pool and heated spa which i used as it was quite warm. The walk to disneyland & downtown disney was only 1km and took about 15mins. You walk through the disneyland staff carpark opposite the motel and your there in downtown disney. I recommend this place to anyone that wishs to be close to disneyland and the price was not to bad either. there is also 2 washing machines and 2 dryers onsite.
After six nights on Disney property, we were done with our park visits and moved to Best Western for our general touring in southern California. Access to Disneyland is so easy and convenient (20-30 minute walk, or bus ($$) available), that we actually walked to Downtown Disney one night, even though we thought the Disney part of our trip was over! Hotel was very basic, but very clean. Room (entrance from outside) was large. Views are pretty much, parking lot, but we do not care. We are not there for views. Front desk staff were very helpful. Breakfast vouchers for Denny's, next door, were provided for two: not sure if additional vouchers are provided for additional guests in party. Denny's could not have been any closer. Vouchers allowed for certain menu items only, but it was adequate for our needs. Convenience store (They had everything!) on opposite side of hotel. Small Business Center - we used to get boarding passes. Pool looked fine. Did not check out fitness facility. I liked the fancier atmosphere of being on Disney property, but this hotel was completely fine and much more economical!
Wonderful staff, clean room, wi-fi worked great, bed, pillows and linens were fabulous, so much so that I asked if they sold them! Location was great for those going to Disneyland, shuttle stops righ in front of hotel. The Denny's next door was very good and the waitstaff very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely stay again.
Wanted to go to Disneyland and spend time with Grand Daughter. Good place to get to and from easily. They have excellent bus that goes directly to Disneyland. Also has a nice restaurant next to it and they have good food and service.
This is a very clean, basic hotel with good beds for Disneyland stay. Close to Downtown Disney. Shuttle available for a price, but we walked and it was not far. Breakfast vouchers for Denny's were nice. Rooms seemed recently renovated and had new fixtures. There is a mini fridge and microwave as well as a coffee maker.
Very pleasant stay. Older, hotel with a nice, clean room, comfortable bed (both of us have bad backs), fluffy pillows and a very nice shower.Walkable distance to Disneyland. Breakfast vouchers 2 per room at Dennys was good.
Our room was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable! We literally only had to walk less than 10 minutes to get to Disneyland, but it was so quiet! We couldn't have been happier with the quality of the hotel and the price.
they say complimentary breakfast but did not indicated that it was just for 2 people per night per room and it was also limited to 3 dish, i hope they could offer buffet breakfast and not limited to only 2 person.
If all you are looking for is a place to sleep then this would be fine. It is comparable to a cheap hotel such as a Super 8. I would spend the extra money and get a better hotel. We ask for a king bed for my wife and I and when arrived was given to small beds.
There are a million places to stay around DL but when you're already paying a million dollars to play at DL why pay a million dollars for a dumpy hotel? $109/night for this clean and comfortable of a place is a STEAL. We booked this place based on reviews and were not disappointed. We arrived about 10:30pm. Check in was quick, efficient and seamless. It's a rather small property so finding our room was easy. It was super clean, didn't smell funky, towels and linens spotless. The rooms have obviously been updated and they were well done. Vanity outside of bathroom with tons of counter and under counter shelf space. Lots of outlets for recharging, table, chair, nightstand, closet, mini fridge, microwave...Didn't feel cramped. When we were there it was 94 degrees! Yes, heat wave the week of Thanksgiving. The AC unit in the room was efficient, not rattly and not loud, we were impressed. Breakfast vouchers at Denny's right next door for two people for each morning saves a ton of $ on breakfast! We walked through Simba parking lot and Downtown Disney to get to the parks. It took like 12 minutes. An easy walk. Vending machines on site at hotel sell water bottles for $1.50 each. Load up before heading to DL as water bottles are $4 each in the parks. Hotel has an exercise room (we didn't use) and a pool. You get a parking pass. We felt safe and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.
This hotel is conveniently located near the Magic Kingdom, but you don't pay the prices that you would at the Disney Resort. The meal voucher for breakfast was better that hotel 'continental' meals, so we were very happy. When we go back, we'll stay there.
WOW! this place is well run, and super clean and everything works! close to disney! the staff are super friendly too and very nice people very close to disneyland, in walking distance they give a free dennys breakfast each day and free parking. no problems :-) internet too
We like this place - it was nice, cozy, and clean. Really good for the price we paid for. It is around 15 min walk to Disney through the Disney Downtown side. I like that it is outside of Disneyland - there is cheaper food alternatives around the hotel. You get free breakfast vouchers for Denny's. On the third night stay, I was a bit sick of Denny's so we went to another Diner just on the end of the block. Lots of parking spaces if you need it.
Nothing fancy but clean room and friendly staff. Close walk to Disney. Room was large and had fridge and microwave. No complaints!! Free breakfast at Denny's next door was nice start to expensive days at the parks. Good Italian restaurant next door.
Disgusting. If you are going make sure you bring a nose clip because it smells horrible. Like if they had cats living in there pissing everywhere. The floors are nasty if you walk from the shower to the bed your feet are black. And it's overpriced
Very clean property and rather roomy rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful, the resort fee gave you two Denny's breakfast vouchers to use each ,or img of your stay. Downtown Disney was a quick ten minute walk away across the road and through the car park to the back entrance a lot quicker than trying to get through the main entrance, the pool facility was well looked after and clean with towel available to use and secure only guests staying could use it. The rooms were well appointed if a little dated but that did not matter, beds were comfortable. Would definitely stay here again for the price and convenient access to Disney.
A family week at Disneyland. This is a nice place. Older hotel but well kept. Rooms are clean. Location is good, just across the street from the Paradise Pier. You can see California Adventure from the shuttle stop, at least the tall parts. Nice to have a Denney's right there. Again nothing fancy but good, relatively in expensive, and consistent. Nice pool area and spa. Good area to take a break after a day of walking. Rooms fairly quiet, parking lot is a little cramped. Don't forget to put the parking slip in the window of your car though, you'll get a little note saying your car is going to be towed. Anaheim transport picks up right at the hotel. Route is short and runs about every 20 minutes, sometimes. You are the first on and first off. Lots of eating places within easy driving distance, as well as a Walmart if you need stuff. Pleasant people, very helpful. It is just slightly out of walking distance when one has a new knee. Otherwise very nice.
Their establishments was very clean, the bathroom was very clean and not moldy and or old,. The front desk was very courteous and easy and fast check in. I like that their breakfast was at Denny's. The parking was very easy no gate or gate code. They provide shuttle to and from Disney.
Our room was clean and we were able to get a room with a bathtub. The beds were fairly comfy and the pillows were good. It was a nice walk to and from Disney and close to Alamo car rental. The vouchers to Dennys were great and gave you a decent selection. Denny's staff were very friendly and accommodating. The lamp wasn't working in our room but the maintenance person came and fixed it right away. Very responsive.
Great location to Disneyland, the area had some restaurants and was also close to downtown Disney area. Hotel was clean and well priced . Hotel staff was friendly and they offered a free breakfast for two at the Denny's next door.
good hotel with friendly staff. Unfortunately, there has to be paid for parking. the rooms are very big and super clean! There is an elevator to go to the floors. The breakfast goes on time and there are a lot of sweets.
Second time I have stayed here. Its within a mile walk to Disneyland Entrance - which is fine for us as we walk a lot. May be a little long of a walk if you have little ones, but all hotels outside Disney are the same sort of distance away. The staff on arrival were great, explained everything to us, and gave us our free breakfast voucher for Dennys. You get a voucher for two people per room per night. It entitles you to a breakfast equivalent of an Everyday Slam (pancakes, sausages, eggs etc which you can choose from a list) and also a beverage, tea, coffee, juice etc. The rooms were great, they are a strange colour, but they are very clean, comfortable and have everything you could need for a stay at Disneyland. Tea Maker, Microwave, TV, Wardrobe, Sink and Bath, Shower - all great and clean. Also has a nice little pool in the middle of the grounds. Only thing missing is a safe! Also surprisingly quiet considering the kid friendly nature of the area. Would definitely recommend, and will stay again if in Anaheim.
Nothing fancy here but then again we chose this hotel for its proximity to Disneyland (A 15-20 minute walk to the park). The bed is clean and comfortable. The staff very professional and helpful. There is also a great pizza restaurant right next to this hotel and a convenience store if you need to get Tylenol, bottled water etc.
The hotel is off the main strip so even if you would like to walk to the theme parks you have that option. The free adult meals for breakfast at Denny's was a cool amenity. Room was clean. Beds were a little hard and being on the ground floor, you hear everything above. We had a loud kid above us but when notified of the jumping and stomping, the staff handled it to our expectations.
The hotel was clean and they gave you breakfast vouchers for the Denny's next door. The Disney bus stop is right in front of the hotel, so for a small fee you could hop on the bus and be at Disney in a couple of minutes. It would take maybe 20 minutes to walk to Disney if you didn't want to take the bus or pay to park.
This hotel is clean, well-kept, it's a good value, it's close to Disneyland (within walking distance), has a great arrangement with the neighboring Denny's for breakfast and has a very friendly staff.
We just got back from a week at this hotel there was 11 of us traveling with 4 rooms. The staff are very nice and helpful. The pool is great and is salt water. We used are Denny's vouchers 6 out of our 7 days they were quick and great service. It is a bit far to walk to Disney but we got ART passes as the stop is right out side. There is a great corner store next door and Italian restaurant. Definitely would stay here again!
service was great, it's location is convenient and walking distance to Disneyland (if you don't mind walking 10-15 min to get there). stayed for 3 nights and every day we went back to our room, the room was clean. I recommend this hotel to anyone who is on vacation to Disneyland!
We stayed here for a cheaper place to stay close to Disney and it was worth it! First, the staff is second to none. Mark and Brent that work the front desk are awesome. So willing to help and friendly! The rooms are very clean and up to date. I was impressed with how nice it was. It's about 1 mile walk to Disney. Which isn't bad but when you walked a million miles at Disney that day, it kind of stinks to have to walk back. With the price of this hotel over a Disney one, its worth it. We walked back early in the AM and late at night without any troubles. It's not a bad part of town there. The hotel doesn't do 'continental' breakfast so they give you a coupon for Denny's next door. We did that each morning which was awesome. Oh and parking is free! All in all, we had a great experience. We will stay here again in the future.
Breakfast is a voucher at Denny's next door, valid only during limited hours, which did not work for me (started at 7:00 am). There was hair in the shower. Otherwise, everything was great! Nice bed, nice staff.
Checked in Oct 2-6. We arrived very late on Monday. When we went to the room to find blood on two pillows, one on each bed and blood on the under part of comforter. The late night maintenance man Jose took pictures at changed all sheets on one bed. The maanger only gave us a $25 Credit. No sorry this happened or anything. To top it off she blames us for putting it us the beds. Please find another establishment to stay.
The hotel has been updated with new bathrooms and fresh paint. It is very quite and the beds are comfy. It is a quick 15 min. walk through the parking lot across the street to Downtown Disney where you can take the tram to Tomorrow land. Dennys next door is very fast with great service. We would stay there again in a minute.
Hotel had all the basic amenities. Included breakfast vouchers for Denny's next door. Nice touch. They also sell very inexpensive Disney items. 10-15 minute walk across the street to Disneyland. ART shuttle also immediately in front of hotel which is nice for pick-up and drop-off. A/C in room is loud but ended up being a blessing at night to drown out any noise (sort of like white noise from a sleep machine). We found it best to leave the fan ON to avoid sleep interruption off/on. Appreciated the refrigerator for our drinks and microwave to heat leftover food. Hotel had what we needed for a quick turnaround trip to the park.
Stayed for 6 nights to visit Disneyland for our family of 6. Overall a very good stay. Rooms are clean and functional for a family stay. Very good value for money and about a 15 minute walk to Disneyland. The pool is good after a long day walking around. Breakfast vouchers were provided for the Denny's next door for 2 people per room.
This hotel is very clean. The pool area is well kept and the staff is extremely nice. I found the beds and pillows comfy as well. The Denny's breakfast was awesome (it included many healthy choices). The walk from the hotel to Downtown Disney was about ten minutes and another ten to the actual park entrance. We felt safe the entire walk. However, know that this is a very old hotel and if you stay on the lower level, you WILL hear and possibly be awakened by the people above you. Also there is only one sink so that can be a bit of an inconvenience. The carpet could use replacing, but maybe that's being a bit too picky. At the end of the day, it's much better staying at a Disney property, but that option is becoming more and more expensive, so a place like this is a good second choice.
The best western has inviting staff with great customer care service. My only complaint was the carpets could be cleaned. My kids walked in the room barefoot and by the time they went on the bed their feet were black.
Stayed here for 3 nights, check in was easy and the man was really helpful and nice. Our room was clean, tidy and very spacious, down side was the air con was extremely loud so couldnt be used at night, apart from that was good. Location is great 20 min easy walk to disneyland and California adventure park. Straight 15 min walk to Anaheim garden walk which has lots of great dining options. They sell shuttle passes for day at reception to disneyland for $5.50 and stop is just outside. Included breakfast was very good. Would recommend to others
This is the best choice when visiting Disneyland. This hotel is close to the park, the rooms are comfortable, the staff is very friendly. The included Breakfast is a nice option. As is the free parking. We have stayed here quite a few times and it is always a pleasant experience.
We thought that this place was good. The people were so helpful and friendly and we found the accommodation clean, though quite dated. They bent over backwards to help us though. The pool was great and the rooms were small but manageable - particularly given that we were really just there to rest between Disney visits! Breakfast was at Denny's (I think it was a Denny's) next door which was fine. Wifi was good and the facilities were good. Glad there was a laundry!
I've spent 3 weeks here this year so far with my family of 4 strictly for Disneyland. Perfect size rooms for us, always clean. My only complaint is their pillows, but I always bring our own. Otherwise, it's always been a great stay. We walk to Disney every morning. Miss the congestion and walk directly across to Downtown Disneyland thru the employee parking Simba lot. No need for a shuttle. My kids are 8 and 2 never had an issue walking the distance. Quiet parking lot, never seen loitering, housekeeping is friendly, staff attentive, enjoyed the hot tub and pool on many occasions. Free internet, free parking, grab and go bags (snacks) healthy option, Denny's with a ranging breakfast selection enough to feed all 4 of us each morning. For the price the accommodations are nice and truly can't be beaten! I'm usually a Marriot girl and after reading TripAdvisor I decided to try this after a late booking and couldn't be happier for our Disney Adventures!
Had a great time. Location was great and staff very friendly Breakfast was good. Got a coupon to go to restaurant and pick three items. They where able to check us in early and room was very nice. Will return again!
We go to Disneyland 8-10 times a year, stay at this Best Western and enjoy an easy walk to the park and the included breakfast at the Denny's next door. Rooms are clean, staff is friendly and there is plenty of parking.
Very convenient place to stay if going to Disneyland. Shuttle was very convenient as well. Breakfast supplied at Denny`s was nice. The room was clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.
Stayed here for two nights with family for a quick Disneyland trip. The hotel was clean and well maintained. Saline pool was also well kept. You get breakfast vouchers for a Denny's restaurant. That is right next door. Service there was also very good. It is a 1/2 mile walk to the Disney park entrance. There is a short cut. That probably makes it more like a 1/4 mile.... Significantly less any way. I'll stay here again on our next trip.
Staff needs to tell guests details about shuttle service to Disneyland. We asked for details, but didn't really get answers until waiting for over half an hour to find out that even though it states "free" shuttle to Disney on website, it's not free. And that you need to have exact change. We wasted over half an hour, because staff failed to communicate properly. We ended up taking an Uber.
The beds were HORRIBLE, the decor is incredibly outdated, there were cockroaches in our room, and the continental breakfast options were minimal (they partner with Denny's and you basically get a choice of toast/pancakes/hashbrowns, eggs, and meat. Most continental breakfasts offer a lot more options than that, and you're also expected to tip the waiters who basically ignore you once they realize your from the hotel (not they're fault, just annoying since the point of booking this hotel was to save by not having to pay for breakfast - I usually don't mind tipping etc).
The bed and room are very comfortable and even though this is a property conveniently located next to Disney we enjoyed a good nights sleep. The hot tub and pool area are clean. This was an easy walk to Disney attractions. The Best Western breakfast was at the Denny's next door, however it would of been nice to have some healthy options like fresh fruit etc on the "Best Western" menu.
This hotel is a very convenient to all the attractions 9in the Anaheim area. The rooms are very clean, beds are comfortable and the front desk staff were wonderful. They are very friendly and oh so helpful. We love staying at this hotel.
Location was great. Within walking distance to Disneyland, about a mile. Service was average, nothing to praise yet nothing to complain about. The room was large and the beds were soft. My only negatives for the room were the loud and annoying A/C and the lack of water pressure. The facility was clean and updated. It felt pretty safe. Breakfast is next door at a Dennys. You can't go over till 7am which we wished it were earlier but very good food.
The hotel lobby looks newly remodeled. The property is about a mile away from the Disneyland entrance. Luckily, the hotel can sell you tickets for a shuttle that comes by every 20 min. The hotel gives you a voucher to eat breakfast at the Denny's which is right next door. Rooms are clean, but there is a warning sign letting you know that everything in the hotel has been inventoried and that any missing items would be billed to your stay. I've never seen such a warning before. The front desk was very professional looking and the reservation manager was very helpful in resolving a billing issue.
This hotel is not one I had ever considered when going to Disneyland because it is further out than others. But on this trip I was looking for low cost so I decided to try it out. I'm glad I did! I was pleasantly surprised with how fast and easy it was to get to the park using the shuttle. It was never crowded and often we were t he only people riding. As far as the rooms go they were on par with other places I have stayed in the area. The breakfast vouchers for Denny's worked out great for my party of two. We were in and out in 30 minutes each day and the shuttle stop was right out front. I'm not sure how I would feel about the breakfast if I had been with a larger family with kids, but I did notice you can get pancakes for $2 so maybe it wouldn't be so bad.
The location was good. Ten to fifteen minute walk to downtown Disney. Rooms were big and comfortable. Breakfast vouchers were a nice plus. Rooms have a refrigerator and microwave as well. Coffee set up in room is also available.
We needed a single night close to the park to attend a wedding at Disneyland. This is a no frills hotel but it was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was at Denny's next door so that was a nice surprise. Short walk to park but Uber was more convenient to get us to the wedding location (Grand Californian).
Ignore that you can see Disney from the hotel. You could almost walk to Angel Stadium. Denny's is next door. The hotel gives you a voucher for two for breakfast which is a treat from the usual continental breakfast.
Perfect location for Disney, Knotts Berry and family friendly restaurants. Pool and jacuzzi great. Staff efficient and room very clean. Tv, hair dryer, iron and board etc all in room so very happy on that front. Unfortunately our room is dated, the walls are very thin so we can hear other people talking and children running around, and the air con unit is very loud! Luckily this drowns out the noise from the other rooms but is still not ideal!
We usually stay on property when at Disney but we had an event at the convention center so we picked this hotel. It is super clean and the staff are very helpful. Heads up you only get a coupon for two people per room to eat breakfast.
Clean & close to Disneyland! Easy and conveniently located next to Denny's & two other eateries. Small little shopping mall next door for groceries & soft serve yoghurt. Nicely situated. Would recommend this hotel.
This hotel was clean, the service was very good, and the walk to Disneyland was not to far. The air conditioning unit was loud and only seemed to have one setting. There was no fan in the bathroom. The in-room coffee was very bad. The hotel seems pretty old but was in good condition except fot the above mentioned problems.
This place is great! The checkin was easy and service friendly & accomodating. They have free coffee & tea in reception as well as the rooms. We had the rooms right at the back near the pool. I am a light sleeper and it was super quiet. The room is large with comfy beds and very clean. Cleaners do a great job of cleaning each day and refilling the coffee, tea, towels etc. The pool and jacuzzi are a good size and were clean. There is a ice machine maker on site as well as washing machine and dryer. It's about a 10/15 minute walk to Disney which makes it super accessible & you can come & go as you please. Breakfast is included each morning. You get vouchers for Denny's which is in the parking lot of the accommodation. The meals were great & filling for your big day at Disney. There is a convenience store next door which is handy. Couldn't fault this place, excellent place to stay.
My sister and I stayed here last minute when my sister found out she had to go to a two day seminar. I actually live a few miles away but she wanted to stay closer to the seminar. This was actually better than staying at my house. Great staff, clean rooms.....we both agreed that this was our new place if we need to stay in anaheim!!
We had a awesome time...the hotel and the staff were great and our 2 and 3 year old grandsons had a great first visiting to Disneyland. We will be staying at this hotel again on our next Disneyland trip.
We stayed as a family of four in two weeks from the end of july to the beginning of august. After staying at this hotel 3 years ago, we returned this year to the same exceptional service and exceptional hotel stay. Check-in was super easy and quick, and we were given a room on the back row of the hotel which was really quiet as it was furthest from the main road! The staff in the lobby are delightful, couldn't fault them one single bit - they're some of the most helpful and kind hotel staff we have ever come across. The lobby also has complimentary tea and coffee that you can take to your room to use, as well as apples which were handy after a day out eating park food!! Parking was free which is such a relief, compared to the other best western plus on west katella which charges you for parking! There was always space directly outside of our room which was nice and convenient. Our room was excellent. Extremely clean with very comfy beds and plush pillows. It was really modern, and the bathroom looked as if it had just been refurbished which was lovely! The shower/bath was perfect; the TV worked well and had plenty of channels, as well as the wifi being incredibly reliable and fast which is always a necessary part of any stay! There was lots of storage space in the room as well, which was perfect as there was 4 of us staying in the room, all with suitcases full of clothing. The pool and jacuzzi are lovely. It's a salt water pool but the jacuzzi isn't. There are always plenty of beds and chairs with shade round the pool so there's no need to worry about not getting a bed and not getting any shade. The pool is open until 11pm where it's nice to go after a day out to the beach before going back to your room! There are also toilets and a shower round the pool which is super convenient as it means you don't have to keep trooping back to your room! The cleaner visited our room every day and we always returned to it being really clean. We were always given new towels however sometimes we got 3 instead of 4!! This was no bother though, as we just had to go to the lobby to get some more. The hotel grounds seemed incredibly safe, and as this is in the disneyland resort, there were constantly security guards walking around the area which made us feel safe!! We had 5 days at Disneyland as we're all avid Disneyland fans. We walked to the parks each day, and it's about a 15 minute walk, 10 minutes if you take the shortcut through the cast member parking across the road from the hotel! To walk to disneyland, simply walk from west katella (taking a right at the hotel) and down disneyland drive on the left hand side of the road where you will see signs taking you through downtown disney and to the parks. It's super easy to get to and you can cut out disneyland drive by walking through the cast member parking lot which is directly opposite the hotel as you walk out past the lobby! We also had planned 2 days at Universal studios, however the traffic was so bad on the way the first day that we decided not to come again. It was also easy to get everything done in one day, and if you're especially worried about not getting everything done you can buy a front of the line pass which will get you right to the front for those long queues! We also visited Laguna beach, as well as Huntington. We also found a lovely shopping outlet about 20 minutes drive away, called the outlets at orange county. It was brilliant for a night-time shop as it's all out in the open so can be a little hot during the day! Overall, we would most definitely stay here again!!
This is a clean comfortable hotel located close to the Disney parks. A shuttle bus is provided for residents at a fee (circa $5 per person). Breakfast vouchers are provided for a nearby diner and kids get a breakfast bag from reception. There are no room safes, but free safes in reception. A bit noisy but would recommend for Disney visitors.
My overall experience was ok here at the Best Western Plus Pavilions. We did have an incident when we first checked in where the toilet overflowed but the front desk immediately reassigned us a new room. The room was very comfy but I did have a concern with the cleanliness of the carpet rug. I noticed my feet turned black while walking barefoot on the carpet. I would highly suggest that the rooms be steam vacuumed every so often. other than that this room was within walking distance to Disneyland. Much less foot traffic than Harbor Blvd.
We recently used as a base in LA for Disneyland and could not have been better placed. Nice walk to the resort but shuttle bus available if required. Kindly provided with breakfast vouchers for the Denny's next door (which was very much appreciated). Rooms could perhaps have been a little cleaner, but nothing that caused any issues. Staff on reception were very friendly and helpful, making us feel most welcome. An enjoyable stay.
Great value and location. We had an easy walk to the convention center and were close to Disneyland as well. Denny's is right next door and breakfast was included. There are numerous restaurants between the hotel and the convention center.
I stayed here less than two years ago and enjoyed it then because of the location. One thing I always count on with a Best Western is a clean comfortable room with a free breakfast the next morning. On our previous visit was had a 'grab and go' breakfast available but this year we were given vouchers to eat at the Denny's next door. Getting started with a good breakfast when you will be walking 6-8 miles in a day is important. The ground are well-kept. I especially enjoyed the flowers and plants including the Bird of Paradise. This BW is in a great location to visit Disneyland. We are able to cross the street, walk through the Castmembers' parking lot and be right there. It's all about location on this visit. The room was comfortable and clean and our location in the back of the motel made for a quiet visit.
This is a clean and well-located motel. There is ample parking and the breakfast is your choice so 3 items plus a drink from Denny's. Very impressive. We walked across the street and cut through the employee parking to get to Universal Studios which cut 5 minutes off the walk. Great place to stay. They offer park tickets and a shuttle if you don't want to walk.
Pro...front desk clerk, Beto, is a sweetheart! free breakfast at Dennys...location is decent Con...antiquated heating and air conditioning (didn't work properly), beds are hard as a rock! With all the other hotel choices in the area in this price range, I'll go elsewhere next time
I reserved three rooms. The hotel looks very old but rooms are clean. Air conditioners made a lot of fan noise. Refrigiators did not work properly. The breakfast was provided at Denny's. Desnyland is close to the hotel but walking distance is about a mile away.
Great location, close to Disneyland. There is a shuttle right outside the door that is $5/day/passenger for unlimited rides too and from the parks. Excellent service, especially at the end of the day. Pool seemed clean and towels readily available. Vouchers offered for full breakfast at Denny's on the property and a "go bag" for the kids that included a piece of fruit, bottle of water, and a granola bar.
We enjoyed our stay at Pavillions. We were very tired our whole time there but did get rest while staying... First time to stay at Pavillion. Normally stay at Stovall. Love the closeness to Disneyland. Happy there was no parking charge.
My family found this hotel when booking our trip to Disneyland and the D23 Expo. I wasn't expecting much for the price compared to the Disney hotels, but was pleasantly surprised. The beds were quite comfortable and the staff was kind. They offer free breakfast selections at the Denny's in the parking lot, and it is in walking distance of both Disneyland and the Anaheim Convention Center!
Had a good rest after an agonizing 16 hour flight from Australia. The location is a walking distance to Disneyland and a Diner (Denny's) just beside it which is pretty convenient. The room that we had is pretty clean and there is a free wifi and a breakfast for 2 at Denny's. Staff were very accommodating and the pool is a plus to cool down after a whole day in Disney. A couple of Australians were also checked in during our stay so what more can I say? This is a safe and clean place if you are considering Disneyland as a holiday destination in California.
Great value for the family if visiting Disney or the Anaheim area! Clean rooms, clean pool, and breakfast vouchers for Denny's was a nice treat! Beds nice and comfortable, and the parking was sufficient and free.
Had a great experience at this hotel.. staff was wonderful... the bed was amazingly comfortable.. An the breakfast was great.. had the best time at this location will continue to stay here on my next visit
Best Western Pavillions is a great hotel. Very clean, breakfast is great and they have a shuttle stop out the front for transport to Disneyland. The pool is clean and well maintained. I would recommend this hotel.
Hotel was clean and looked recently renovated, but I could be wrong. There is a laundry room and fitness room. Denny's Restaurant is right next door and you get breakfast vouchers for staying here. Very close to Disneyland which was great.
Very pleased with my stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I loved how close we were to Disney and the Breakfast at Denny's was an awesome perk. The rooms were clean and spacious. I highly recommend if you are looking for an affordable and comfortable place to stay, walking distance from Disneyland. You can even see the fireworks at night from the hotel!
This hotel is about a 5 out of 10 given its distance from the disneyland resort and the time frame in which you are eligible to take advantage of the breakfast vouchers. The vouchers for breakfast are only good from 7am-10am. When the park opens at 8 or you want to take advantage of magic morning these vouchers are useless given the distance of the hotel compared to the resort. You need to take a shuttle to the resort since its way to far to walk, which takes at least 20 minutes with all the stops. The pillows and beds were extremely uncomfortable as well.
We booked last week for a family of 7. Their queens beds are more than enough to accommodate family of 4. The room is always clean and the bed and pillows were so comfortable and inviting for a good rest. They have a new bath tub and so clean everyday. Their tv is big. They gave a brown bag with small bottle of water, apple, trail mix fruit and nut every morning in additions to the Dennis coupons they gave for breakfast. Dennis Restaurant is a just few steps away from their parking. Their price is the cheapest among the hotels I canvass before booking. They offered senior citizens discount. Our request of quiet room were easily granted. It is really quiet that we can't hear any noise from outside or neighbor's room. We appreciate most that you can walk going to Disney thru CA Adventure staff parking and you save money for a shuttle bus trip that will cost $5.00 per head. While other hotels charge parking fee and breakfast everyday, Western Plus Pavillions has no charge at all. Their staff, Samantha and Giovanni were so friendly and always ready for your inquiry. They're very helpful. As long as you don't look for luxury, Best Western Plus Pavillions is the best hotel to stay in Anaheim.
My husband and I arrived before check in on a Monday and the nice front desk clerk let us park there while we hopped over to see the Mouse since our room wasn't ready yet. The room was nice with a remodeled bathroom that I loved. The T.V. in the bedroom was quite large and we appreciated since we came back to watch a basketball game. The mattresses were comfortable and I appreciated the soda/water machine downstairs that took cards. The nice front desk clerk warned us about cutting through the employee parking lot across the street so we went the correct route which isn't a bad walk at all and it's about 11 minutes. We also were able to buy 2-day Hopper tickets at the front desk and they are a little bit cheaper than in the park and you don't have to stand in line. We have stayed at this property before and glad we chose it again for this Mouse trip.
This was the first time I stayed at this motel, but it won't be the last. This is a cozy, clean motel with very friendly staff. I used the military voucher program to pay for my room so the price was about $600 total, which included 2 free Dennys breakfast per day. I was given a coupon with several items on it, you can only choose 3 items per person, but it was filling and free. Back to the room. It was clean, had a microwave, small fridge, single use lotion, shampoo and conditioner. The was also a small coffee pot in the room and coffee in the office.
By far my favorite place to stay. The owner and employees take pride in their establishment. Customer service is great. The internet is free but slow, No parking fees, nice breakfast included each morning, with a grab and go bag, couldn't get much better.
Friendly and courteous staff. Very clean room. Walking distance to Disneyland and Downtown Disney. Breakfast vouchers for Denny's just yards away. Only two stories and requested a 2nd floor, quiet room and was not disappointed. Would definitely stay here again.
Great place, located nearby to convention center in Anaheim, within walking distance as well as walking distance to Disneyland and Downtown Disney. I have stayed there every 4 years that the conference is in Anaheim since for many years...location, location, location.
This hotel is in close walking distance of Disneyland. The Denny's breakfast each morning was a great addition. The room was clean with all the necessary amenities. Additionally the rate for 6 nights was extremely reasonable for the area. We will stay here again in the future
My husband and I were there to attend the Juice Plus+ conference. We stayed for 3 nights. It was an pleasant walk back and forth to the conference center, allowing for exercise and sunshine breaks from the meetings. An unexpected bonus was that we were given vouchers for breakfast at Denny's right next door. I think this is something new they were trying out.
We just got back yesterday from a 5 night stay. The accommodations were very good and close to Disneyland. The rooms were clean and with air conditioning. There was a nice pool, hot tub and gym. The service was excellent, all the staff were very friendly. Kudos to Candy, Jeovany and Beto for their great service. The Denny's vouchers were very good with a wide selection of choices. We also found that the Denny's service was very good as well. We would definitely stay here again.
We're happy we stayed at The Best Western Pavillons. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Yes, the walls can be thin but most hotel walls are. Besides, we were out during the day at Disneyland. The walk there was a 15 minute straight walk down Disneyland Drive to Downtown Disney. I think another great value of staying here are the breakfast vouchers the hotel gives for the Denny's next door. Good choices for breakfast kept us fueled and Disneyland ready.
have stayed at this hotel 6 times within a year period of time. And here are a few things you should know before you go; 1) They do not serve a continental breakfast. You receive a breakfast voucher for a sit down meal at Denny's for eggs, sausage, pancakes etc. The hotel does offer coffee in the lobby. However there isn't anything convenient, simple and light option such as yogurt, apples, bananas, muffins, bagels or cereal. 2) There is a $5 resort fee. It is cheaper then other hotels however, WHY do the guest have to pay a resort fee? Shouldn't we be paying for a clean room with comfortable beds? Are we paying for the free internet? For local calls? Most guest have a smart phone so should we have to pay this fee? 3) This hotel does not seem to value their customers. I think staying at a hotel 6 times within a year for 2-4 nights a stay makes me a valued customer and I have not felt the appreciation when addressing issues. 4) The customer service is below average. We are rewards members and one time, only one time were we offered cookies and water. And when addressing our issues regarding the room it's always been, "I can move you or waive the $5 fee" 5) Lastly the cleanliness of the room is also below average. Our last 2 stays the rooms have not been clean, the carpet on our last stay was dirty, there was a small dot of feces on the bathroom floor and about 20 strands of hair around the foot of the toilet (the maintenance engineer can confirm this), the sink dripped ( I could not sleep and had to call the agent to notify him because I had a headache, the mini frig froze our food and after replacing our food and lowering the temperature, water leaked all over our food and when the fan was turned on, it seemed liked dried chunks of mud would come out. Also we had 5 weird pillows the size of decorative pillows on our last stay and the pillows were very uncomfortable. Also before writing this review regarding my past 2 stays that were below satisfactory I asked the front desk agent to speak to the general manager and she was not available to speak to me. I did mention to the front desk agent that I may \\write a negative review and wanted to speak to someone to regarding my stay. However the employee did not seem to think that my issue was important to get resolved. Being a former hotel general manager of a Best Western property, there were many ways that the staff and manager could have done to make me a happy customer. The staff needs to better trained. The front desk agent could have contacted the general manager if she was not at her desk via radio to speak with me and addressed my concerns and issues however it was not done.
When we arrived we were greeted and promptly checked in. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Beds were comfortable as well. Our only issues were with the key card which had to be replaced 4 times before it finally worked right. Overall a wonderful place to stay!
My friend and I wanted to visit Disneyland and California Adventure without wanting to pay a fortune for the hotels around the area. We found this gem online and it's worth every penny! I actually was the one that booked this hotel under my credit card as I'm an AAA card holder (I think you save 10% if you're a card holder). This Best Western was one of the best places I've stayed at for a BW property. The lobby was immaculate, very clean, had complimentary coffee/tea station, clean restroom. The staff that checked me in was actually sick and coughing, but I applaud her for showing up to work! She probably had allergies, thus I wasn't concerned about "catching germs" from her. We checked in at 8 am, but our room wasn't ready until 1230pm, thus we went next door to Denny's to have a great breakfast, then walked around Downtown Disney until it was time to check in. The walk to Disneyland/California Adventure was only about 2 blocks, or 10-15 mins. walk. Super easy to walk to as I saw a bunch of families (kids and grandparents) walking to the park. Thus, as long as you have legs, then you CAN walk to Disneyland! Our room rate included complimentary breakfast from 7a-10am at Denny's next door (chosen from a special menu) for the two nights we stayed. Thus, every breakfast we were at Denny's and I loaded up on coffee and food. The hotel room was spacious, clean, had 2 queen beds, coffee/tea maker, small fridge, flat screen tv, shower with tub. The location of the hotel is in a safe area thus we felt comfortable walking from the theme park and back to the hotel at 1130-midnight time, without feeling as if we were going to get killed or abducted. Lol. The room was very well insulated and as we were surrounded by families and small children, we never heard them at all. Our room was located on the second level, thus we didn't have anyone above us. There was also a very clean pool, however we didn't have time to utilize that. The BW was also located within walking distance to other restaurants in case you didn't always want to dine at Denny's. Free wifi in the rooms was a plus and you didn't have to pay extra for that! The staff at check in and check out were wonderful. Very friendly, courteous, polite, capable of handling large volumes of people coming in at once. The hotel also offered a 2 Day Park Hopper tickets for cheaper than what you'd pay through Disney on their website or at the theme park gate, thus I appreciated that! Moving forward, the next time I visit Disneyland, I'd definitely stay here! Very affordable, great customer service, clean environment, newly remodeled, awesome location. Thank you BW Pavilion for a great experience!
Clean property with remodeled rooms, large pool with spacious deck, quiet set off street, close to Disneyland, good restaurants, Gardenwalk, night life, short drive to beaches. Staff friendly and efficient. Tickets sold here cheaper than those from AAA.
We enjoyed this Best Western! It was very close to Disneyland and we walked to and from. The room was clean and well stocked with amenities. Staff was great, breakfast was satisfying and free parking!!! There was TV, a bath and shower, good lighting in the room and comfy beds. We will definitely stay here when coming back to Disneyland!!
Reasonable walk to Disneyland, great price and good accommodations. We stayed 6 nights and never had any issues. It looked like they were upgrading a lot of rooms too. Free breakfast at Denny's was a bonus!
Where do I start! The minute I drove in I told to my self you made a mistake ! And guess what? I did! the front desk staff don't have a clue how to treat a costumer no smile or nothing! And then I didn't get the room I booked I asked for 2 queens and I got 2 doubles! And then they advertise for hot continental breakfast and all you get is 2 coupons for Denny's with very limited menu coffee eggs has-browns and and bacon that's it even if your party is more then 2 you only get 2 coupons! And then the rooms are very very small and have an weird odor and you can hear everything from the person next door!! And on top of that they have a construction going and all the noise I can't put in words I won't stay here again you can get a better hotel from de same price like Hyatt or Marriott!! This is more like a cheap motel type this is not a best western kind
We just needed one night for a Dr appt at CHOC early the next day. This hotel was the cheapest in the area that still had a decent rating. We usually only stay at 5 star big name hotels/resorts, but didn't want to spend the money for this quick one night trip. I was really impressed with how nice this hotel was considering the price. I would stay again and perhaps try other best westerns in the future.
The check in staff at night were very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Close to the Disneyland resort the price was quite reasonable since we booked it early. There were nearby restaurants for dining and the location was very easy to enter into and leave.
wanted a hotel close to disney, which it was, they have shuttle service to the park for 5 bucks a person, checked in but couldnt get the key because room wasnt ready, which was no biggie we were headed to disney anyways, but the girl at front desk gave me my parking pass so i could park there, got to the hotel late around midnight, the evening staff was really nice, he gave us the keys and we headed to the room, nice and clean, very quite, comfy beds, will stay here again when i go back to disney. and you get a coupon to dennys which is right next door for 2 free breakfasts, available from 7am to 10am,
We stayed here for 4 nights in October for my daughter's birthday Disney trip. It was affordable, the staff were very helpful and professional, and close to Disney. Across the street is the Disney employee parking lot. You can walk through there and be in downtown Disney in 10 minutes. The ART bus also passes by the front of the hotel every 20-30 minutes and you can buy passes at the desk. For the proximity to Disney, price, and service you can not beat it!
This is an older stile hotel (all doors are to outside) but has been updated and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The location is great! It is just across the street from the employee parking lot which you can walk through and enter into Downtown Disney and go straight to Disneyland and California Adventure. The walk takes about 5 to 10 minutes. The parking was free and the breakfast is by a coupon to eat at the Denny's next door, which is a plus over the normal BW breakfast. When booking this hotel the only room that was available was a king suite. When we checked in an when to the room it was huge! It had 4 beds and 2 bathrooms. It appeared to be two rooms that were combined. Way too much for the 2 of us. We returned to the desk and Candy was able to assign us another smaller room and save us a lot of $$ over the 4 nights we stayed. Thanks to Candy! This made our stay a much better experience. I am not sure why the king suite was the only one available on line as it appeared there were other rooms available. This is a great place to stay due to the location, no parking fee and value. Since this is so close you can leave the park in the afternoon and return for the night fireworks or world of color shows. Note I believe it costs $24/day to park at Disneyland and you probably can not leave and return.
The hotel is a little old, but is well maintained and clean. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are small and look a little dated, but for a few days stay they are adequate. There us a shuttle bus to take you to Disneyland that stops out the front and cost only a few dollars return. There is a nice swimming pool and a heated spa to relax in after a hard day at the Disneyland. The hotel has a Dennys next door and provided free vouchers for guests to eat breakfast free.
We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The room was clean, the beds were very comfortable. It is right across the street from Disneyland. Still a bit of a walk so we took ART transit to the main gate. The free Dennys breakfast was nice, we had a great server every morning. Easy parking, no extra fees. Nice pool and hot tub.
The room was clean and ready early which was perfect and very appreciated after our long drive since 5:00 a.m. The beds were very comfortable, we slept very well. I am a restless sleeper away from home, but the beds & linens were so comfy, I slept great. Location to Disneyland/Disney's California Adventure was a comfortable walking distance; while we could have used the local trolley/bus, by the time you add stops, etc., you're there in 10 min if you walk. The Continental Breakfast was FANTASTIC. There was something for everyone. It was wonderful.
We stayed here as we needed somewhere close to Disney. You can walk to the Disney parks and downtown Disney within 10 minutes, you just walk straight across the Disney hotel car park. The staff here were really friendly. You got complimentary tickets for breakfast at Denny's diner which you couldn't fault, the pancakes were yummy! It's also next to a convenience store and Italian restaurant. Rooms were nice, a bit dated but clean and comfy. If you're going to Disney I would definitely recommend staying here!
Stayed for 3 nights on a trip to Disneyland. This hotel was perfect for our stay - just a short walk across the carpark into downtown Disney and meal vouchers provided for Breakfast at Denny's next door. Staff were friendly and accommodating. I would recommend requesting a room on the second floor - we stayed on the first floor and were awoken each morning by heavy footsteps. Otherwise the rooms were clean and updated.
It was a quick walk across the parking lot to Disney. There was a good selection of restaurants to eat at and the pool was small but good. The kids really enjoyed it. The air conditioner kept our room cool and we could watch the fireworks from the balcony. The front desk staff helped by calling if we needed transportation and also gave us great recommendations if asked.
Very close to Disneyland, walking distance within 1.5 miles, 30 minute walk. Great food places like TIffy's Restaurant and Coco's about a block down. Adjacent to the hotel is Denny's Restaurant. Workers were polite and excellent service. Accessible shuttles daily to and from Disneyland ART Bus #9. Inexpensive, round trip $5 all day pass but if you buy a 3-day pass for $12, you save $3.
We had a great experience staying at Best Western Pavilions! We stayed for 3 nights last year, and things have changed for the better! The 2 person meal vouchers were a great addition - we used them every day! We did get a little tired of the breakfast items, but it was free, so can't complain too much! The hotel staff was great and very accommodating. We were allowed to check in 1.5 hours early and check out about an hour late, which were both super helpful! Our sink was not draining when we checked in, but they fixed it by the time we got back from dinner! The hotel rooms are basic, but were perfect for what we needed, especially compared to the cost of other hotels in the area. It was great to have the hot tub, however, they don't monitor it much. We left several times because people were drinking and not paying attention to their kids, who were splashing around in the hot tub, as we were trying to relax from long days of walking at Disney. Overall, it's been a great hotel both times my husband and I have stayed and we would definitely recommend it!
Great location! Across the street from Disneyland. Take a shortcut through the Disney Cast parking lot (15 mins walk) to Disneyland. Staff and work crew were pleasant and professional. The room was very clean. The have a small frig, microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer, pool and all the "stuff" that comes with staying at a higher end property. A great plus for this property is the breakfast voucher you get fro Denny's. You get to pick your own breakfast. Denny's also has a mini Disney store inside. Also, next door to the property is a good pizza restaurant, liquor store and Mexican restaurant. No need to drive around looking for places to go. A very added PLUS is FREE internet and parking. Sit outside and watch the fireworks! The Best Western Plus Pavilion is a real charmer. The hotel will fit you and your family needs.
We have stayed at this BW 4 times now and it has always lived up to our expectations. The staff has always been friendly and helpful with all our questions. You get a voucher for a free breakfast at the Denny's next door which makes breakfast very pleasant. We would recommend this BW for anyone in the area for the local attractions
The staff was extremely helpful with any question we had, the rooms were very nice and the beds comfortable, the free breakfast was Denny's was nice, the pool, hot tub was nice after a long day out walking at the parks, the laundry hours could of been longer but still nice to have one available. Only about 15 min walk to Disneyland or ART stops right out front and has 2 stops before getting to Disneyland.
Not a bad place to stay for the cost but it is a motel, not a hotel. My kids are teens so the short cut through the employee parking lot was doable but still a very long walk after a day in the park and then walking through Downtown Disney to get out. I wouldn't recommend walking with little kids (you can take a shuttle instead). The rooms are clean and beds are fairly comfortable. Rooms work fine for the money. Breakfast, however, is not included, which was a disappointment. It comes with a brown bag with a small bottle of water, an apple and a very small granola bar. AND you can only get it between 6-7am. They do give you a coupon for the neighboring Denny's but it is only for 2 people and you have to order a specific set of things. Usually, BW Plus provides a full breakfast and this was a deciding a deciding factor so this was a huge disappointment. Denny's, by the way, was great but we spent way more than we had planned on food due to the lack of breakfast at the motel. The room is pleasant enough. We had 2 queen beds and room for an air mattress on the floor. The room had an in the wall air conditioner/heater that had a remote control. When on, it was very loud, but it did work. If you are watching TV, it has to be on very loudly when the AC is running. The pool was open and clean. The hot tub was big. The hours end at 10pm so we didn't get to use it every night since Disneyland closes at 11. They were prompt at locking it at 10pm. Several buildings and only two floors. They do have an elevator. The wifi was free. You just have to log in every morning to get it working again. You can park one car there for free. There are closer Best Westerns to the front of the Disney property but we chose this one because it was less expensive. Even though there was a liquor/convenience store on the back side of the motel, we didn't have any issues in the neighborhood. Oh yeah, they will charge you up front for your entire stay. That was also weird and the woman who checked us in didn't seem to care that it was annoying and unusual. I think they do it so you can't skip out a day early or something but that's not behavior I see at cheaper motels or regular BW but not the BW Plus. Would I stay there again? Maybe. We walked over 20 miles in two days and we were dying on that last walk back to the motel so we may consider a place across the street next time since we don't like paying for the shuttle (it adds up!). I also want my breakfast included so that is another factor in choosing to return. If you don't mind the things I mentioned in my review, you could be happy here.
Hot tub nice open late. Comfy beds. Odd sink outside Bathroom. But adjustable. Grab n go fruit water bags great for disneyland. Breaky voucher at Dennys 1 per couple. Near main bus route. U can see park fireworks from hotel
Nice and clean. Pool was lovely. Office staff were helpful. Good some good advice on things to do and how to get tickets to universal studios and disneyland. Rooms could be better but were okay. Plenty of parking and the orange county outlet mall was very close.
We go to Disneyland quite often and have been staying at BW Pavillions for years. We always check availability there first. Staff is very friendly and we are always satisfied. In the past 10 years I think we have only had maybe 3 or 4 problems. Reasonable prices and now they include free breakfast at Denny's.
Older Hotel across from Disney Land with Free Parking and totally upgraded rooms as good as any of the highest rated hotels and highest priced hotels. Can easily walking to Disney Land and the Anaheim Conventions Center.
everything was fine, its in a good location to Disneyland and the convention center, staff was fine at check in. I had hoped to have checked in early, but no room was available. I was not recognized for my status with BW. its nice to be recognized
it was great for my Disneyland trip as it had all the amenities needed such as bar / fridge microwave, laundry (paid) and it was a quick walk (10-15 mins) to Disneyland turnstiles. The Grab 'n' Go breakfast was good for quick snack at Disneyland and the breakfast vouchers for Denny's helped with the budget. At times it could be a little noisy with people arriving and departing, but as we were up early each morning, didn't bother us. I would recommend this hotel for your Disneyland stay.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfy. We enjoyed our stay with many family members. It was a perfect location for all of us. The pool was clean and they gave breakfast vouchers to the Denny's next door. There is a shuttle to Disney for a small fee. I did not take it but others say it is cheaper than parking at Disney.
Memorial weekend we had a family reunion at the Disneyland Resort all though it was a great family time it was filled with issues daily. This trip we stayed just down the road at the BW Pavilions property with our daughter's family. Everything was perfect, quick-in (no issues). purchased and printed tickets in the business area of the lobby, low-cost shuttles that constantly run to the parks. Food, snacks, advice all available 24/7. That allowed us to concentrate on what our 3-year old grandson wanted to do. This included a quick dip in the pool after the fireworks at the park!
Stayed 3 nights while visiting Disney parks. Room was clean & comfortable with coffee maker, fridge & microwave. Hotel gave us breakfast vouchers for the Denny's with is pretty much on the same property. This was very much appreciated & was great to grab a quick free breakfast before heading off for the day. The pool area was clean & seemed to get plenty of use from other guests. Very convenient to be able to park outside your room. Location is great. Every morning we crossed the road & walked through the Disneyland car park. Also had great views of the nightly fireworks from our room. Next door is a friendly convenience store & great pizza restaurant. Would return & would recommend.
We chose this hotel for the location to Disneyland. It turned out to be a 15 minute, easy walk. The staff seemed to be genuinely interested in addressing any question we asked. The breakfast vouchers to Dennys worked out well and the staff there were very kind. The housekeeping staff were great, they even placed my sons stuffed animals on his bed to greet him after our day at Disney. Its the little things that go the furthest with me and I thought that this location did a fantastic job keeping Customer Service as their priority. We will definitely stay again if we go back to Disneyland.
We booked this hotel because it is across the street from Disneyland. The distance from the hotel to the resort entrances is roughly a mile and we walked there and back each day. We felt perfectly safe walking back each evening. We were given complimentary breakfast vouchers at the Denny's restaurant next to the hotel, that really worked out well for us and added to the value of staying at this hotel. We had a room on the ground floor and were able to find a parking space close by. The room was clean and the AC unit kept it cool during the night so we were able sleep soundly. We heard some muffled noise from the adjoining rooms but not enough to bother us or keep us awake. Parking is also free at this hotel which I understand is not the case at the other nearby Best Western Stovall's Inn. All in all, this is an excellent place to stay when looking for accommodations near Disneyland.
10 minute walk to Downtown Disney saves on parking and is super convenient! Rooms are spacious and the microwave/refrigerator in every room gave us meal flexibility. The guest laundry was a bonus, too. Loved the salt water pool and hot tub - that they're open until 11 pm is a big win. I can't say enough about the staff - they're wonderful, especially Ashlee at the front desk. (I almost forgot -their business area has two computers, a printer, a fax, and was a real life-saver for us.)
We've returned a few times now and were happy once again with the service and the value. The decor isn't amazing but it's nice enough, and it's clean and fairly quiet. It was a nice surprise to get breakfast vouchers to Denny's next door. It's a bit of a walk but we enjoy the route through the Grand Californian hotel and Downtown Disney. Can't wait to return!
My daughter and I stayed over Labor Day weekend to participate in Disneylands half marathon weekend. I selected this motel based on the many positive reviews. When we first arrived I was concerned that the location of the motel was on the backside of Disneyland Hotel and not near the entrance. It was just about a 15 minute walk to the monorail entrance at Downtown Disney. Close to the race events so we were very happy with our choice. The room was clean and quiet. Staff very friendly and helpful. Denny's next door for a better than a buffet breakfast which is included with the room price. The day of our run we stayed in our room passed maid service at 3:00 pm. upon our return later in the evening we opened our door to a wonderful surprise of made up beds and clean towels. Maid service after all and much appreciated. Definitely would stay here again.
My daughter and I stayed here August 25th-30th and we had an amazing stay! I read the reviews on here prior to coming and was a little scared it was going to be horrible! I don't really understand the negative reviews, as we had a wonderful stay. We arrived early, about 2 hours prior to check in time, and to my surprise, they had a room available. We stayed in room 222, which is in the main building, but around the corner in the back, on the top floor. The beds were comfortable and clean. Everything else was also clean, to my standards anyways. The bathroom looked spotless and nice. It took me a few minutes to figure out the air conditioner, but that was my own stupidity lol. It worked great, yes it is a little loud, but I like that. If you prefer sleeping in silence, you may not enjoy it. But I had no problems with it, and it kept the room cool, which I love. When we checked in, they gave us vouchers for the next door Denny's. It is a limited menu that you get to choose from, but you get to choose 3 items, per person, on the card and get a small drink as well. All free! We enjoyed it. Typical dennys food, we didn't really care. I know they also serve a grab and go breakfast in the lobby of the hotel everyday, but I did not take advantage of that so I can't comment on it. Nor the pool, as we were too busy at Disneyland to try it out. But it always looked quiet, usually no one there, and it looked decent, with some shade and chairs and tucked away from the street, which I noticed was not the case of a couple other hotels on Katella. Walking distance from Disney? Yeah I suppose it is, but with walking all day at Disney we didn't really want to walk to and from the park every day. Luckily there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel, and an ART bus comes by every 20 minutes or so and takes you right to Disneyland near the front gates! Closer than a taxi would get you, and cheaper! We bought 3 day passes (the most you can buy at the hotel) for one child and one adult and it was $15 USD, no tax. I think that's fair as you can take unlimited trips. I think the first bus comes around 7am or just before. And the last one when the park closes at midnight, comes at 12:30am. The schedule can be looked up online. All in all, we loved the hotel. We are thinking of coming back in May, and if we do, I will be booking with this hotel as it is a lot cheaper than staying onsite, and cheaper than the hotels on Harbour Blvd.
Suitable for couples/singles who need a place to sleep after a tiresome day in Disney parks.traveled as couple.I got a standard double bed room which is convenient for only 2. It has microwave and coffee machine which i need to start/end my day. Free breakfast added to it. you can purchase 5$ day pass per adult to/from Disney. bus stop is right in front of hotel. As i was on Disney trip, i didn't get chance explore the facilities like pool etc..
The fridge that was in our room upon arrival was not working. We called and they brought us another. They told us that it will take time to cool down so go ahead and put everything back in the fridge. In the morning it turns out they replaced the fridge with another broken fridge and we lost all of our food and milk for the baby. Hi Speed internet was not working at all!!!
Staff was friendly, nice lobby and eating area although small. Pool was a good size, not busy. The place looked nice overall, but the sink and bathtub were partially clogged, not draining properly. Found a bug on the linens.
we have stayed here multiple times. it is a "go to" for us. we really like that we get to pick our own breakfast items. also the fact that they don't gouge you with a parking fee closes the deal for us. always clean, there is staff cleaning all over the place and that I like. pool is basic but hey that is ok with us next trip will be with the granddaughter oh and "those people she lives with" (our daughter and son in law) for the Disney Halloween event. priced well polite friendly staff clean rooms walking distance to the house of mouse.
Disappointed in how noisy it was here. Had to sleep at other end of bed and turn on noisy air conditioning to cover the sound of next door snorer. Noise from carpark at all hours and could hear people walking around in unit above. The most expensive accommodation on our trip and so much lower in standard than others. Dennys next door was handy.
After travelling the US for 3 months this was our final stay in the US ..offered everything we needed..close to Downtown Disney ..a 15 minute walk ..next door to Dennys ..you are issued with breakfast vouchers for Dennys ...reasonable Wifi...clean and comfortable ..would recommend
This was a very easy hotel to stay at. Across the street from Disney and right next door to a Dennys. The room was clean, nice and quiet. The staff was nice and let us check in early, which is unheard of! I would definitely recommend this hotel.
For the price I paid I expected to have a room in a hotel. It really is a motel. The sink in the restroom was "mini," there was mold in the bathroom. The only redeeming quality is that it is located at a walking distance of the Convention Center.
we stayed for 11 days 2 adults 2 kids aged 7 and 9 , the staff were very courteous upon our arrival , they explained the set up with the buses that run to Disney land and other locations around the area , we received breakfast vouchers for 2 at the Dennys restraunt next door for every day that we stayed , The rooms were clean and tidy with a fridge and a microwave also a coffee machine , the rooms weren't overly big but we managed with the 4 of us quite well ,the bed was really comfy air con worked well .There was plenty of parking and also a lift to the second floor which made carrying the bags some what easier , will stay again and would recommend ,the pool was also a great place to relax as well , it has plenty of shade and is quite secluded...
My wife and I plus two daughters spent three nights here in a room with two queen beds. The room are motel-style, separate entrances on two floors round a courtyard with parking outside each room. Beds were comfortable. The air-conditioning was effective but a bit loud so we turned it off at night which made us a bit warm by morning! We were at the back of the hotel away from traffic. There is a very nice swimming pool (with a view of Disney fireworks each night!) The refrigerator broke on the first night but was fixed first thing the next morning. Our main reason for the stay was to visit Disneyland which is only a ten minute walk thought the Disney carpark opposite the hotel (shuttle busses also stop right outside the hotel entrance). Vouchers were provided for breakfast at the Denny next door. Standard diner food but good for filling up before a day at Disney. All the staff are very welcoming and super helpful. We made use of the safety deposit box in reception to store valuables. I must make a special mention of the maid, Eva Alvarez, who cleaned our room on the second day. During the day at Disneyland I realised I had lost a $100 bill. When we returned to our room we saw that Eva had found the bill and taken the time to write us a letter. Great service and a huge relief to us. Thank you Eva!
My room was small, but very clean. Front desk was great and even gave us breakfast vouchers for Denny's,save us money on breakfast. the location is really great, right next to Disneyland. Would definitely stay again.
Stayed here for 10 days as part of a Californian road-trip. Rooms were really spacious and clean. Always space for us at the pool and the breakfast vouchers for Denny's were a nice extra. Loved being able to walk to Disney attractions and free-parking at hotel was a bonus. Staff always polite and helpful. Would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.
I've stayed here on 3 separate occasion due to the fact I'm a Disneyland fanatic. I've never had a bad experience at this hotel. Comfortable, clean and enjoyable place for me. Staff always friendly and willing to assist you in making your stay comfortable. Enjoy the close proximity (walking distance) to Disneyland Resort. Always looking forward to my next trip and staying here.
Attended a conference at Disneyland Hotel. This site is a 10 minute walk away, which was very refreshing after sitting all day. A short distance away by bus or a 30 minute wasl are great restaurants ( e.g. McCormack & Shmick,, Cheesecake Factory, P.J.Chang) If you fly in to Orange Countu Airport & choose not to drive book your shuttle 1 day in advance for the best price.
Good hotel! Close walking distance to Disneyland. The check in staff was very accommodating and helpful with basic requests. That was a plus and made the stay that much better. Clean and comfortable. No complaints!
The site manager and her staff were all very courteous and professional. Even the security guard was nice and offered small conversation in passing. The rooms were tidy and the staff made sure to leave the AC on as it was very hot the week of our visit. The pool was clean and fun for my whole family. The discounts for Disneyland and transit were easily available to purchase at the front desk. Thanks for a great stay. We all had a great time.
The room was nice and within walking distance of downtown Disney. Front staff was very friendly and answered all questions. Breakfast was ok but not something I'd eat every day. The gift shop at the front was nice and relatively cheap. Don't expect to see fireworks unless you are on a specific side.
The hotel is great. Just Denny's. We also reside in U.K. The Lady who cleaned our room was wonderful. Our granddaughter brought a blanket ,teddy ,pillow etc and every day the lady made the bed look wonderful.
Great accommodation, nice and handy to Disneyland and only 3 or 4 large blocks from Bubba Gump, Cheesecake Factory etc, 2 gentleman on reception when we checked in were awesome, gave us some great advice for our 7 night stay.. Pool was lovely and the free breakfast vouchers for Denny's each day were a nice surprise... Fabulous restaurant next door too - Marri's Pizza & Pasta - well worth going to for either Dine-in or takeaway...
My family and I traveled up here to go to Disneyland. The hotel doesn't look like much from the outside, but the rooms are comfortable and has every amenity that you need inside of them. They don't offer free breakfast, but they do have a grab and go bag which consists of a water, an apple and a granola bar. They also give you free vouchers for two adults each day that you're staying there for the Denny's right next-door. It was really nice to be able to have a hot breakfast. You do have to use them during certain hours however. The park is close enough to be able to walk to Disneyland, so that was a plus! If we ever visit Disney again, I will definitely stay here.
This hotel is one of our go to's when staying in the area. Rooms are always clean. The a/c needed a little maintenance, however the overall stay was really good. It was a last minute trip, so the price was a little higher than we normally pay, but the $50 bonus from BW made it ok.
Good size rooms with very good amenities and very clean. Great to be able to see the fireworks from our 2nd floor room balcony. Pool area nice and water at good temperature. Friendly staff. Vouchers for 2 people included for the Denny's next door, used a couple of times. Good position - about 20 minutes walk to Disney and less than 5 mins drive to supermarket. Will definitely stay again.
Old, tired crowed not at all what I expect from a BW stay. The pool is over crowed. The rooms inadequate. The bathroom too tight and old thin towels. Breakfast is at an adjoining Denny's, but no meal is included for the children.
At first it looked kind of older but the room was very clean and modern looking - within a 15 minute walk to downtown Disney - we had the upper suite 201 and it had another connecting room (accordion door in the middle) worked well for us (4 separate beds) very rare for this area - One King and three doubles - Very affordable as well - right next door to the best Pizza in Anaheim !!!! Beer and wine next door as well
The hotel is clean, has a good pool and very close to Disney Land. And that is it. But that is also everything whats counts here. Breakfast at Denny's and a late dinner (pizza) around the corner. Coffee-machine, fridge and a micro in the rooms.
Small rooms but had everything we needed including a laundry, aircon, free wifi and helpful staff. It was also nice and close to Disneyland and had a Denny's out the front. Also had a convenience/liquor store next door.
This Hotel was fantastic , it is right across from Downtown Disney , we walked through a parking lot and we were there . The rates are great and we got free breakfast a Dennys both days . Could not have been happier !
Location > Great. Right next to Disneyland (walkable!) and easy to access the freeway to other places. We went with every intention of going to Disney but ended up not going and went to Universal instead, so would probably plan better next time! Room > Dated but very clean and nice. Had all the facilities you want, plus a microwave! Onsite parking is included and you can park outside your room. Staff > Great! They were very helpful and even called us a cab when we asked. They recommended a private service as this would end up being cheaper - which it was! Food/amenities > Very good. A breakfast each day was included at Denny's Diner (next to the pool). Good choice of food on the inclusive breakfast menu and the pancakes were lovely! There is a pool, hot tub and gym onsite which we were surprised about! There are other restaurants nearby and a Wal-Mart just up the road! Hotel feel - to say this is a motel-type hotel we were very happy with the hotel and would recommend this to anyone visiting the area who doesn't want to pay Disney-hotel prices!
Friendly professional staff and the room was very comfortable and clean. If we're ever in the area, this would be the place we'd stay. Also, breakfast is a voucher for the Dennys next door. Can't beat that!
A little further from Disney than previous stays but still walkable (or pay for ART out front). Rooms were clean and tidy, staff friendly helpful and welcoming. We saw a lot of Disney fireworks and loved complementary breaky at Denny's next door. Would stay again.
It was close to the Disneyland - just 10 min walking and you do not need to spend money on parking in Disneyland or for the shuttle bus. The value for money was good and the comfort of the beds. Plenty of parking lots and proximity to a couple of eatery places just behind the corner. The staff was not interested in us at all, just responding like machines. We booked the hotel because it was recommended by Disneyland as "good neighbor", but they did not sell regular tickets to Disneyland. There was some smell in the room probably from a leaking fridge.
We stayed here after a long day at Disneyland with my in-laws & two young kids. It was great being so close to Disneyland as we were all worn out after lots of walking! We stayed in their suite & it was perfect for our family unit as it had an accordion wall that allowed us to essentially have two separate rooms while we slept complete with two bathrooms, but then open the wall during the day! My kids enjoyed the pool before we left!
A brilliant place to stay for Disneyland with a Denny's next door if your not motivated to go further afield to eat. Rooms are very clean with everything you need. service was great and staff very friendly. about a 15 min walk to Disney although you can get transport if you prefer. We would definitely return if visiting Disney again.
Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable! A free breakfast was included(1 per adult) which was a voucher at Denny's next door. Breakfast was OKAY, but that isn't a reflection on the hotel. The last time we were in Disneyland(December) , we stayed at the Alamo Inn. That was not going to happen this time! The Best Western did not disappoint! I would definitely stay here again. It is within walking distance from the park, which is always a plus. (It's not a short walk, but it's not horrible.) The free breakfast is at Denny's(right next door) , and we got vouchers for two adults( not sure why we didn't get a free child's breakfast, but paying for one breakfast wasn't a big deal) per day. The service at Denny's wasn't great, but as I said, that's not a reflection on the hotel.) I was very happy with our experience at this hotel!
It is an average motel on a very busy street next to a very average Denny's. They do not have any extra services or food other than coffee and tea. In the morning they gave us a grab bag with an apple, a granola bar and a small water to take with us. The shuttle was convenient but I think I would stay closer to Disneyland next time.
This hotel is located on walking distance of the Disney parks. The front desk was extremely friendly but I don't recognize any plus in this BW+. The walls are paper thin, the bathrooms old, the airco noisy, the look and feel of the hotel is extremely dated. It's not an extremely bad choice but don't expect luxury here. Our room cleaning was also sub par (hairs in the tub, etc).
the room was clean and ready. we hit the park for a bit and then went to the pool. pool is nice and clean. towels are available for pool use. our beds were comfortable, and getting free breakfast at denny's next door was awesome.
We chose this hotel since it was close to disney. It was about a 10 minute walk. There are no hills walking to disney and the streets are lite up so no troubles there. The hotel staff was super friendly. The room was clean and prepared when we arrived. The pool is heated and the hot tub was perfect after a 12 hour day at disney. The pool area is clean and towels are replenished. The air conditioner in our room was perfect and it also helped with the outside noise. The staff who cleans the rooms is in top of the cleaning. We chose not to have our rooms cleaned on one of the three nights staying there. The day we did have the rooms cleaned the staff made sure everything was replenished. I feel awful because we did not have cash to leave a cash tip for the cleaning staff, however I hope they are notified of the fine job they did.
I picked this hotel because I was able to walk to Disneyland and it had free parking. It is a decent value for the hotel and the staff was great at check-in and check-out. The room was clean and not noisy. No problems to report, although the shower pressure was a little weak.
If you looking for place with walking distance from Disneyland it is great. There is even bus stop next it if you do not like walking. In general it is quiet but you can hear screaming from California Adventure when you go outside. There is no breakfast but Denny's in next to hotel.
Pros - Walking distance to Disneyland Free parking for one car Clean room & comfortable bed Quiet Cons - No fan in bathroom just very small window Grab and go breakfast was minimal at best Fairly small room Poor pillows Blanket between two sheets but like a sandwich, not enough sheet to fold over at the top to cover the blanket. Quite certain blanket is not laundered each day so would be nice to have it covered. All things considered is an ok place but I would probably look elsewhere next time.
Stayed here with 2 other families for a quick Disneyland trip . The hotel is easy walking distance across the carp park to downtown Disney . Right next door to Denny's. Good laundry . Helpful staff . Very clean . Only complaint would be the coffee and tea making facilities in the room . The tea tasted horrible not sure if it was the water or the tea bags. The grab and go breakfast was really convenient. Overall would definitely reccomend it .
Great place to stay near Disneyland. Safe, secure, and comfortable. Can't beat the price for the average family or even if your traveling solo. Truly enjoyed the experience and look forward to future stay at this Best Western Plus - Pavilions.
We have stayed here once before and the rooms and staff are outstanding. It is close to Disneyland. The rooms were always spotless and the staff amazing they will go out of their way to make your stay the best that it can be.
The overall quality of the hotel is good and within reasonable distance of Disneyland. The rooms are a little bigger than Stovall's, and have never had a problem with things like hot water, TV, or internet. They don't have a full breakfast, but do have a grab and go with juice boxes, granola bars, fruit, and coffee which is good if you plan on eating a lot of food at Disneyland like I do. I think there is a shuttle for a fee, but we usually just walk, it's a little under a mile and all flat the whole way with only a couple of traffic lights. The price is usually a little cheaper than Stovalls, so it's worth saving 10-15 per night to walk an extra quarter mile. This was my fourth straight time staying here and won't be the last.
This hotel is within walking distance to Disneyland, rooms are very clean and comfortable. Good value with excellent service. I do recommend it for families planning on visiting Disneyland. Next to good restaurants. Great location. If there is space available you can leave your car at the hotel and walk to the park avoiding the high price Disney parking lot cost. Excellent complementary coffee both at the front desk as well as in the room.
Enjoyed the hotel. Clean good value for money. Rooms were clean. Like sink outside the main bathroom. Gets more people ready when leaving hotel for the day. Great wi-fi connection. Having free parking is a plus. There is a Denny's right alongside the hotel. While the hotel only offers grab-and-go breakfast (small juice & muffin, apple and small nutty bar) it would be nice if the hotel had some deal with Dennys to offer a reduced breakfast to adults.
This hotel is a bit further away than we usually stay when we go to Disneyland but it was so much more quiet! Most of the rooms dont face the street so we didnt have to listen to traffic all night. Ended up driving to Disney, as walking would have been too far for us but it was worth it to get a good nights sleep.
We have stayed here 5 or 6 times in the past 8 years, and find it always dependable for cleanliness and comfort. We never think of staying anywhere else when we come to the parks! Staff always friendly and helpful. Denny's right next door for breakfast, and the Disney shuttle bus stops right out front. Or a 15-20 min. walk to Disneyland entrance (cut across the Simba parking lot across the street for a short cut). Rooms like 250-249 248 and the ones below on the first floor overlook the pool which has lots of tropical landscaping--much nicer than looking at cars parked opposite or the street! Pool is nice--I see a guy out there cleaning up and hosing down every morning. While we were there, I saw half dozen of the downstairs rooms getting their carpets shampooed, so it's nice to know there is regular room maintenance beyond the basics going on.
we continue to come back because we can count on the cleanliness, safety, and comfort of the hotel. the staff is always helpful and friendly. the location is ideal, and the rooms are very comfortable. our family feels
The hotel is located on the southeast corner of Walnut and West Katella (opposite of the Disneyland property on the Disneyland hotel side, to the right of the Denny's restaurant). The hotel lobby is located at the front of the property next to the high carport. The lobby looks beautiful, clean, and organized. This is where you get the grab and go breakfast. They do not have a continental breakfast, however you can get a brown paper bag and fill it with granola bars, juice boxes, fruit, yogurt, and pre-packaged pastries. There is also a business center here with two computers and a printer where you can print anything you need for your trip. They also have bathrooms for you to use when you check in. The property also has high-speed free Internet which works very well in the rooms. We stayed in room #204 which is at the back of the property, and our Internet connection was very strong. Check-in time is 3:00 pm and check-out time is 12:00 pm. The hotel is 100% smoke free. If you smoke in the rooms you will be charged $250/night extra. They have free parking and will give you a parking pass for your vehicle when you check-in. Part of the charge when you check-in is a $5/day resort fee. This is a mandatory fee that almost all hotels have. The taxes on the room are 17%. The hotel is not pet friendly so don't bring your pet. The property is divided into two buildings the front building is the main building. This is where the laundromat is located on the second floor. The laundromat is open from 9 am-9 pm every day. It costs $2.00 to wash and $2.00 to dry your clothes. The gym is located in the main building next to the laundromat on the second floor. It is open from 8 am-10pm. The main building has an elevator to take you to the second floor. The second building does not have an elevator. The main building has a soda vending machine and ice machine by the elevator on the ground floor. The vending machines here take credit cards and cash as payment. The back building has a soda vending machine, snack vending machine and ice machine in the middle of the building on the ground floor. You can only use cash. Every few doors you will see garbage cans. The property is very neat and clean. There are a lot of plants so it looks lush. The pool is open from 8:00am-10:00pm. The pool is heated and it has a jacuzzi. The pool area is well maintained (cleaned everyday) with a lot of plants around it. It also has a small cabana with a table and chairs and a few umbrella tables with chairs. There is also a vending machine here. Entrances to the rooms are external meaning your door is outside. It's not inside the building. Our room was #204. It is located in the middle of the back building in front of the stairs. It is not a bad room however you can hear the people outside when they are going up the stairs. If you are sensitive to noise, this would not be a good room for you. However, if you're not this room is pretty good since it's located right next to the exit. You can see the Disneyland fireworks from this hotel and the sound they make is loud. So if you have little ones be aware of this. The property is very well lit which can be a problem depending on how you sleep. There is a light right outside our room that is able to shine through the blinds. This took a little getting used. They also have a security officer walking the property at night for your safety. As soon as you walk into the room, you will see a big flat screen HD-TV in front of you atop a 3 drawer dresser. The satellite provider is DirecTV. The pictures crisping clear with very vibrant colors. In front of the TV is the first of the double beds. The bed was nicely set with four very plush pillow's and one body pillow. The bed was firm and very comfortable for me. However depending on how you like your beds depends on how you would like this bed. I slept very comfortably. On the nightstand in between the 2 beds is a small alarm clock and a lamp. In front of the second bed and next to the TV, is a small table/desk. On top of this table is a small data box where you can plug in any of your mobile devices or laptop. It has USB ports and power outlets to charge your devices. On either side of the table, there are plush seats to sit in. They are pretty comfortable. There is also a floor lamp to light up this area. Next to the table and chairs is a small closet that protrudes from the wall. Located inside of this small closet is the ironing board, iron, suitcase stand, and hangers for your clothes. Next to the closet is the countertop where the huge mirror, sink, box of tissue, hand soaps, microwave, single serve coffee maker with packets of tea, coffee, and hot chocolate are located. The mini fridge is located underneath this counter along with an extra towel and the hair dryer. This is now the back wall of the room. The A/C unit is located along this back wall. It is pretty high up on the wall but it has a remote that you can use without having to touch the A/C unit. This is a great feature. The water from the sink takes a good minute to start warming up. There is no safe in the room. Finally the bathroom. The bathroom is small just like in all of the other hotels and it was in good condition. When you flush the toilet, it flushes quick with some strong force. The shower on the other hand has low pressure. To operate it, the handle has 2 knobs. The first knob is round and you rotate it to turn the water on. The second knob has a tab on it and this controls the temperature of the water. Just rotate it to the left or right depending on your comfort level of the water temperature. To get the water to come out of the shower head, pull the little knob that is on the water spout out. They give you towels for 4 people.
We stayed at the Best Western Pavilions on a recent trip to Disneyland. It was the perfect fit for our family. We loved the location to Disney and the convenience of having Denny's next door and an Italian restaurant, Marri's, close by. The pool gave us a little relaxtion time away from the crowds and gave the kids a chance to cool off a bit before we headed back to the parks.= for the evening. I would staty there again in a heartbeat. Not a luxury hotel (which wasn't expected)but fit our needs prefectly.
After staying in 4-5 star Hilton's, this hotel was a bit of a step down for us so we had to adjust our expectations because we were paying a lot less staying in this Hotel. However, for the price, you get a clean/functional room, obliging/helpful staff at the front desk and as many breakfast snacks as you need to get you going from the lobby.(no time for long breakfasts when Disneyland awaits!)....go to Dennys or Downtown Disney on the way to the parks if you're hungry. We stayed in room 108 on the ground floor and had no issue with noise. This hotel also has a good pool/hotub but my only complaint is that the pool doesn't open until 9am(even though it closes at 11pm???). In terms of location, it's as close as any other non Disneyland owned hotel as any other. In comparison to our previous stay which was at the Disneyland hotel, we had to walk about another 10-15min or so through a very large car park which on a hot day with kids can be a bit taxing while you meander your way through to Downtown Disney. At the end of the day, we decided to be pragmatic about it all with this hotel because we spent most of our time at the theme parks rather than in the hotel. But if you don't mind spending the extra money, it's always going to be better in one of the Disneyland owned hotels
Quit room, cleaning room ,spacious room ,the location is awesome as it's only a few blocks away from Disney downtown. The first thing you look for in a room is cleanliness and having an atmosphere conducive to productivity.
The room was decent and the price was reasonable. The bed was a bit too hard and it's not right at the Disneyland entrance but exercise is good, right? There was a bit of an odor in the room, probably from cleaning products (it was pretty clean). We'd go back if they keep the price down - they are getting ridiculous in Disneyland!!
Good overall. Close to Disney, Cheap price, good beds and room. Dennys is right next door and a convenience store. Pool and spa are adequate. Lots of noise from outside and above our room. Next time we will spend a little more money and stay closer and hopefully in a little bit better hotel, but if you need a cheap hotel that is walking distance to Disneyland this is your place.
Perfect location if going to visit Disneyland. No frills but safe, clean and family appropriate. Breakfast is grab and go but there is a Denny's Restaurant on location. Nice clean pool and separate hot tub. Friendly staff always willing to help and advise. No extra charge for parking. Did not use shuttle, as we simply walked across the street to enter Disneyland via Downtown Disney. Would recommend this hotel to all my friends and family.
They use window AC units that are way way too loud. Room very clean with Marble in the bathroom. Paid around 120 a night here. Stayed here 3-26-16 a Saturday. Walked over to Disneyland to watch fireworks but they were cancelled due to wind. We had an upstairs room all the way in the back. They do have an elevator. No breakfast just "grab and go" yogurt, muffins, apples, coffee. I have stayed here 5 times and it is always good. Bed is very nice with soft sheets. Hotel does have a security guard at night. On our previous stay, we had to leave at 4:30am and a guest called security on us for too much noise and he did show up. No one was arrested. :)
located just 10 minutes walf from the convention center, 15 min. walk from CVS and just next to DENNYS. Rooms are clean, refreshed daily, a small fridge and coffee maker. will return to that place if i'll come again to anaheim.
As always, Best Western staff are friendly and helpful. We had an issue with programming the remote for the air conditioner which was never resolved. Also reported an issue with the bathroom sink which was taken care of within a couple of hours. I was not happy to find a used coffee cup wedged between the microwave and wall. It was easily found by me so I do not know how the maids could have missed it. But overall, the hotel is nice and the staff outstanding. Not a bad walk to Disneyland.
Great location. Walked through the parking lot across the street and past the Disney Hotel and into Downtown Disney and on into the parks. There was also an ART shuttle stop steps away. Denny's next door was convenient and in the opposite direction there was a small market/liquor store, Mexican restaurant, Italian restaurant next door as well.
We stayed for 5 nights with our 2 children, we arrived from australia at 10am and were very grateful to get an early checkin, the motel is a long walk from disneyland and the easiest way to get there is by the art bus which comes every 20 minutes. Our room was clean and services everyday and the kids loved the pool, we did find the room was very hot though and the air conditioning was too noisy to use over night. If we were returning to Anaheim we would chose a hotel directly across from disneyland to make it easier to return to the room during the day.
This was our second stay at this hotel. It was as good as our first one. The staff is very helpful and friendly and does a great job to make our stay comfortable. Having a Dennys located across the parking lot makes having meals easy as one does not have to drive anywhere. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm or the convention center.
This hotel is across the street from Disneyland, but it is a good walk since it is across the street from the back side of California Adventure. The front desk workers were very nice and were accommodating to our needs. The room isn't fancy and the beds aren't super comfortable, but the price is good and it is clean and the beds are decent for a good nights sleep. There is a Denny's right across the parking lot which helps if you want breakfast. The hotel offers a "to go" breakfast that is just granola bars, fruit and boxed juice. They also give you a bag to pack it in, lol. If you want something decent and basic for a good price, this hotel is great. If you want something with more amenities go somewhere else and pay the extra. Also, the pool is quite small.
Great location, short walk to Disneyland, beds are very comfy and staff are friendly. only downfall is there are no elevators only stairs which can be tiring trying to lift suitcases up to the top level.
None of the hotels on the outside perimeter of Disneyland in Anaheim are particularly fancy. My room at the Best Western was very clean, quite large, and nicely decorated. Good towels and soap. The bed was very comfortable and the grounds were nice and neat. Lovely little pool area- good lounge chairs and tables. Friendly staff. Next to a little strip mall with convenient stores. Denny's on the other side. Quiet by 10.
Room was spacious and clean. Front desk staff and housekeeping were very courteous. Didn't use the pool but it did look clean and had restroom on site; my kids enjoyed the hot tub. The grab to go breakfast came in handy for miday snacks (apple juice box, granola bar, banana muffin and yogurt). Upon check in we were given 4 coupons for the next door Denny's for children under 10 to eat free...came in very handy for b-fast. We had a 3 and 6 year old and a sit and stand stroller but decided to drive and park at the theme parks vs walking (it looked a bit far for us) since there is enough walking at the parks. We had a small bathroom issue, but just dealt with it and decided not to reported no biggie (chain inside stall pump kept coming off and not flushing). Would stay here again in the future.
We stayed in the suite. It was exceptional. Walking distance to Disneyland and very spacious with 4 adults and 2 children. It had one king bed and a sliding divider to separate the other 3 beds. The only drawback was you had to walk a little ways to the hot tub and the pool, but it wasn't that big of a deal for the kids.
Our conference venue, the Anaheim Convention Centre was within easy walking distance along with Downtown Disney. Two more pluses were the cleanliness and helpful staff. It was a bonus seeing fireworks each night from Disneyland! The accommodation is open to the street with some rooms more tucked away than others. We appreciated the nearby diners for an American style breakfast.
This is the first time I stayed here. I will stay again. It is clean, well kept and walking distance to everything. Good tv cable and good price. Dennys is right next door which is nice and a good Italian place around the corner and up the street is Tiffy's family restrauant which is good.
This was an adequate hotel for my needs. One disappointment is that they have very few breakfast items (apples, granola bars and yogurt). It seems they could offer a bit more items. Also, the people upstairs from me were pretty loud, but mostly because the floors are very thin, so even their walking on the floor seemed very loud.
I checked in a bit later than usual but the desk staff was efficient and very polite. They helped answer a number of questions about area transportation all the while answering phones at the busy front desk. I was truly impressed and grateful. Very professional!
For it's price, this is an excellent value hotel. It's clean, attractive and efficiently run by a very professional staff. They are very kid friendly and that's important being so close to Disneyland.
nice place to stay close to disney, reasonably priced, clean and safe with restaurant nearby. Morning breakfast needs additional choices. We had stayed here before and the staff had been rude but this time they were very nice. Rooms are dated, but beds are comfy. Upstairs was noisy but after complaining to the front desk the noise stopped.
I had gone to Disneyland for 3 days in a row and for those who have been know Disneyland takes a toll on your body soooo much walking.. Loved how close this hotel was to the park only a 7-8 walk to the security gates. The staff was really friendly and was a big help on giving me a late check out while I waiting for my family to pick me up since we only had 1 rental and they were at a different hotel than my boyfriend and I. The only problem I had was this internet for some reason I couldn't connect on my phone it kinda sucked but I was sooo tired when I would come back it didn't even matter when we wanted order in I would use my boyfriends phone to get phone numbers not a big deal. Service was great room was spacious this was truly a lovely stay.
This hotel is clean and comfortable with a good location close to the park. All the staff were friendly and helpful and the beds are so comfortable. It is our fourth trip staying here and we don't consider anywhere else when visiting the area.
This is close to Disneyland and California adventures. Room was clean and beds are comfortable staff was nice and friendly. They are remodeling rooms right now and never heard anything. Great place to stay business or pleasure
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel =) It is VERY clean! The ONLY complaint I have about this hotel is that we were put in a room way out in the corner (which was perfect as far as noise wise) where the free wifi didn't reach. Maybe they could work on how far the wifi stretches? Other than that it was a perfectly amazing place to stay while visiting Disney =) Would stay again for sure! The pool was nice and the hot tub is HUGE!
Excellent hotel! Fantastic customer service! Mark Michael and Danny were great! Friendly and Happy! I FOUND THIS HOTEL TO BE VERY CLEAN AND SAFE!! I have stayed at this hotel before and would definitely recommend it! Very close to disneyland, stores and restaurants! Very comfortable beds! Nice and quiet! Away from the street noise! I will be staying here again!!!!!!!!
this hotel was ok, its kind of like they tried to cover the oldness with newer decor but didnt really upgrade it completely. The front desk was extremely helpful and made our stay. Beds were comfy and everything was ok. Just expected a nicer hotel for what the reviews said.
we were giving a handicap room which we didn't want no bathtub no counter space in the bathroom, when I tried to change it a woman yelled from another room in the lobby didn't see her just heard her she said they were sold out, but yet people were checking in. The heater didn't work properly had to have a maintenance dude help us he couldn't get it to work had to go find a manual to operate the remote finally got the heater to work but it would shut off and when it came back on it blew COLD air. had him come out again he said he fixed it. It worked for a while then would revert to blowing COLD air. I reset it because I didn't want him to come back AGAIN. it seemed to work it was heating. Then at about 6am we both woke up freezing the "heater" was blowing COLD air, I was freezing, congested and sneezing it was warmer outside than it was in the room. My wife and I packed up our suitcases and left but not before taking the heater remote to the front desk and told them that the so called pos heater was broken. While at breakfast at CoCo's I got a call from the hotel manager who yelled at me telling me they had sent the maintenance guy back to the room and she said there was nothing wrong with the heater calling me and my wife liars and she wouldn't give us any money back. That pissed us off because we never asked about any compensation in fact we never thought about it. over the next 3 days I got worse and worse from freezing on our stay at the pavillions. My wife and I have stayed at this hotel about 5-6 years now at our business convention. Maybe your staff needs a lesson on humility and be educated on people skills. Rude Rude Rude. Our experience really sucked. Not going to stay at any Best Western ever again. But since the woman brought it up we should be compensated for the complete visit then and only then would we ever consider spending our money at your hotel again. in our party are 7 to 10 rooms every year for our employees. I isn't just about $$$$ it's about people being nice pretty disgusted with how it turned out.
The hotel is clean, walking distance to the Anaheim Convention center, near restaurants and convenience stores. Good internet, and wonderful new business support in the lobby. The reservation team and the front desk staff communicated well with each other. We had a number of international visitors in our party with varying arrival/departure dates. The BW staff easily accommodated their needs.
Average room for the price, but they worked very hard at making my stay very pleasant. Great location for Disney or the Anaheim Convention Center - a Denny's next door. The sleep was great -comfy mattress with nice decor. Clean with great service. Thank you so much.
I was very pleased with this hotel property. As a business traveler, with hundreds of nights to my credit, I was really surprised at all the small amenities, the room and, especially, the price. I stay almost exclusively at Best Western properties and found this one to be one of the best so far.
This is a great motel for the $$. Perfect for Disneyland, easy walking distance. Rooms were clean. Snack & Go breakfast was perfect for our family. Staff were very helpful. We'll definitely stay here for our next trip to Disneyland. It's getting older but it's well maintained.
Hotel was clean and quiet. Staff helpful w/ extra blankets . No breakfast offered just coffee but Denny's is right onsite. Comes in handy for late late dinners. Will stay again. Why does the review need 200 characters to much writing
We found this hotel to be very comfortable and reasonably priced, especially since we used points for our 6 day stay. The spa was great after walking all day over at Disneyland. And Disneyland was only a short walk from the hotel saving parking $. The only item that was disappointing was the lack of a decent breakfast, but on the other side of the hotel there was at least a "Dennys" that had fairly decent service and the typical Dennys menu. We prefer Disney World, but when we do come back to Disneyland, we'll most likely stay here.
Nice pool and exercise room (new equipment). Friendly staff at Denny's. They answered our Disneyland and transit questions, just because they came to mind at breakfast more than in the hotel lobby. Rooms were small and no free breakfast for adults, so you are paying for proximity to the park.
I was skeptical when I booked this hotel because the price was so much lower than all the other hotels in the area. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice, clean and welcoming this hotel was. The grab and go breakfast was perfect, the staff friendly, and the rooms clean and nice. The pool area and hot tub were awesome. Would definitely stay again.
Have stayed numerous times over the past 20 years. The Pavilions has never disappointed, front desk staff especially Michael are always very helpful, maid service well above three star expectations, grounds are kept clean and tidy. ART shuttle at door for quick ride to Disneyland or take a 15 minute walk. Being Australians on vacation we have found renting a car a must with all major rental companies situated nearby. Drug store next door, grocery store and local shopping within walking distance. Coffee making, bar fridge, microwave, flat screen TV with cable, free WiFi, gym and for an extended stay a guest laundry. Rooms are small but reasonable size. Safe and secure holiday accommodation away from the crowds. Tip for overseas visitors on shopping spree seek out discount coupons as the locals rarely pay retail. Highly recommend this property. I will continue staying here when visiting Anaheim. AA+
The room we were in was older and the shower head ring against the tile was not flush. Looked like spotty workmanship when they change the head. We were beat tired so we really just slept in the room the one night and didn't use any amenities. Having the vending machines was nice so we didn't need to go to the liquor store. Overall, for what we needed, quite and comfortable, it was good.
All around the service was great. Front desk were help and friendly. Cleaning crew was very polite. The walking distance to Disneyland Park was literally 10 minutes. The morning snacks they had at front desk was perfect and coffee tasted great. I would definitely stay here again for our next trip out there next year.
My partner, brother and 2 friends stayed here back in 2014, this place is perfect to stay in if your going to Disneyland purely because it's a place to sleep at not a huge price, it's clean and tidy because let's face it if your staying in the area your there to go to Disneyland and that places operates until late, you want to make the most of your pass so spending time in your room isn't really on your todo list. There is a Denny's right outside and it's a short walk to down town Disney and the parks entry. We are planning a trip back to the USA and will stay here again no questions asked
Great hotel within walking distance of Disneyland and food options. The breakfast is good. They have coffee, muffins, granola bars, yogurt, and fruit. Rooms are clean and nice. There is free parking and wifi.
I am was disappointed with this Hotel. The rooms were clean and had everything I needed for comfort i.e. Fridge, Blow dryer, Microwave, TV with great channels, close to Disneyland and awesome complimentary snacks for on the run. The Staff provided excellent Customer service and were friendly. The staff went above and beyond normal duties to ensure that my stay was awesome.
Really great and accomodating staff, clean, nice lobby, luggage storage while at Disneyland, pool, jacuzzi, fridge, microwave, about 1 mile walk to Disneyland, or $5 daily(must buy from hotel) covers shuttle unlimited for whole day, shuttle stop in front of hotel...Denny's/other restaurants next door...great value! military voucher accepted here...only about $80 per night military
When our regular hotel was full on a recent trip to Disneyland, we decided to try this one. We were very pleased. The staff was extremely friendly, the room was a decent size, comfortable beds and clean. The hotel is directly across from the Disneyland employee parking lot which provided a safe, 15 minute walk to the park. We will not hesitate to stay here again. My only complaint is there is some road noise and smoking is allowed outside the rooms so you pass ashtrays and can smell smoke on the way to rooms.
This hotel provided a good location for our night trip to Disneyland . Close to the park and downtown Disney so you can walk there in about 10 minutes. You can only park Park Hopper tickets and not single day passes here. There is a liquor store and some other restaurants right next to the hotel if you need something later in the evening. Would stay here again.
Don't let the location of this little gem fool you. We were able to access Downtown Disney in a matter of a few minutes walk from this hotel. If you need the basics, bed, shower and small frig, this is perfect for park participants. The location of food and a small market right out the door. It's so convenient you could even leave the park to nap/re-charge and return! Nice cozy room. My husband didn't care for the bed after the 2nd night but after a full day at the park, I was too tired to care and no complaints from me. I would've liked to see more than a grab and go bfast but it suited our needs. My teens weren't happy with the speed of the in-room internet but again, we spent most of our days at the parks and it allowed for more family time. I would stay here again.
The room was spacious, clean and all the amenities were working properly. Close to the sites we wanted to visit. Although there was no restaurant at this particular hotel, there were lots of restaurants nearby. The hotel offered coffee, muffins and yogourt in the morning for a fast take along.
Hotel was very quiet, clean, free parking, shuttle stops in front and it had everything we wanted for our visit to Disneyland. It is about a mile from Disney's main gate. The bed was comfortable and there is a Denney's next door for anyone that wanted more than a "grab and go" breakfast. It was better than we expected for a reasonable price. This was a 2nd visit for some of our family and we will recommend it to others.
This is our 3rd stay at this hotel, and we keep returning because it's a GREATvalue for a hotel within an easy 15 minute walk to Disneyland. There's also a shuttle bus if you prefer not to walk. Rooms overlooking the pool have more of a resort ambiance because you are not facing other rooms (and their cars). You can see Calif. Adventure ferris wheel and also Disneyland fireworks from the balcony, so you ARE close. Nice pool with hot tub. WiFi works great, as does air conditioning. Beds comfortable. Little refrigerator and microwave are definite pluses.
Staff was amazing from the time I made the reservations till the time we checked out. Thank you! Staff is the #1 area I evaluate when staying at a hotel. Usually happy staff, good, clean hotel! Located right across from Disneyland made it very easy to walk. The Grab and Go breakfast items were just enough for my family (and i have teenage boys). Grounds were always clean and manicured and pool was clean and maintained. Denny's in the parking lot made it easy to grab food when needed. Staff goes out of their way to accommodate us. Rooms clean, including the bathroom, and even had a micro and fridge! Love that! I will recommend this hotel to everyone!
This hotel is right across the street from Disney in a comfy walking distance. I stayed here for the Avengers Half Marathon weekend and enjoyed the area. There is also a Dennys right next to the hotel which was a good when you didn't want to pay Disney food prices. The staff was fantastic, the rooms were clean. The only issue I had were a few cockroaches in the room climbing on the walls. I slept with lights on.
We have stayed at this hotel multiple times in the past few years. We always find it to be comfortable and clean. We enjoy the close access to Disneyland. They have a nice pool and hottub. We never hear a lot of noise. They only offer a grab and go breakfast but there are restaurants nearby including Dennys or the little stripmall on the corner next to the hotel. The Italian restaurant, Marri's is fantastic and affordable. There is a little convenience store there as well for things you may want in your room but be prepared to pay for the convenience.
Great location to Disneyland, great staff, great convenience. Let's get the one bit of a negative out of the way first. While planning this stop of our honeymoon, my wife and I booked through Costco Travel and got the room for around $100, whereas, the normal price for the room was $300. If you can get a deal through a travel agency of some sort to get a discount then do it. Otherwise, at regular price, it is a horrible value. The room with a single bed was big, nice, and comfy, but not worth $300 per night. That is it as far as negatives go. As I said at the start, everything else was great. The staff was always helpful, the whole place looks clean and organized, and the rooms are well insulated - we never heard other people except for the obvious foot traffic outside of the room. We utilized the refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker with no issues with any of them. The fee WiFi was flawless for us and a good selection of channels on the TV. We saw plenty of negative comments in previous reviews about the breakfast selection, but it worked out well. They don't offer a "sit down" meal type of option, however, there are options. Yogurt, individually packaged muffins, granola bars, juice boxes, fruit - most guests are just grabbing something quick on their way to the Disney parks, anyway. If you desire a full breakfast, there are many restaurants nearby including at least three I can remember being within a block. The Italian restaurant in the business complex next door even delivered directly to our room the first night. It was great food, large portions, and a great value. During our three night stay we definitely utilized the pool and hot tub after long days at the Disney parks. The pool wasn't heated which wasn't ideal at night, but relaxing in the hot tub was a good way to end the day. We met a lot of nice people from all over North America while at the hot tub because majority of the folks staying at this hotel are there for a family vacation. It makes for great conversation. It's also kind of funny how many times you end up being with the same people on your shuttle rides to and from the parks. Lastly, the referenced shuttle service is pretty convenient. It is technically public transportation so an all day pass is $5 per adult (not sure what it is for kids, or if there is a fee for them). They also offer up a three day pass, but don't know the price on that either. The shuttle's stop is at the bus stop directly in front of the motel and it comes roughly every 20-minutes. They continue to run up to a half-hour after the parks close. Worst case scenario, the motel is within walking distance. So, great place to stay especially if you can get a discounted rate. If you can't, then you just have to decide what kind of a dollar figure you're willing to put on convenience. All I know is that if my wife and I make a return trip to Disneyland any time soon we will definitely look into this motel first.
walking distance to Disneyland park and good rate sponsored by military. Next to Denny's restaurant and other convenient stores. Lot's of parking. Swimming pool and Jacuzzi are clean. Will be able to see the fireworks at night from your room, depends in you room locations.
I booked this hotel primarily because its just about 1 mile from Disneyland. And i also was expecting the Best Western standard of hospitality that i've gotten used to at various other locations. the only good thing was the proximity to Disneyland and the night desk executive informing me about a shuttle service. Other than that, this hotel is not great shakes. I had the following issues during my stay. 1. In the afternoon, there were kids running directly upstairs and the noise was quite a lot. When i complained the 2nd time, i was rudely told that its still 3 pm in the noon. So does that mean the next time i can make any amount of noise as long as i keep quite after 9 or 10 pm ? 2. I had requested in a humble and polite tone to the front desk if i could get a hammer for just 10 mins to fix a dent in the stroller. Upon me asking 2 times at the front desk, i was told they will get back and no one got back. If they had no intention of agreeing to my request, a NO would suffice. The break fast is also a big let down. After paying a decent $$, i would atleast expect a proper breakfast. All they had was To-Go items like some juice, apples.oranges, and some granola bars. For the extra you would pay in staying at this hotel, spend that same amount in the car-parking at Disneyland and stay a little further away in a more decent hotel.
This hotel is missing a couple amenities commonly found with Best Western nationwide. We are used to either a continental style breakfast or a full breakfast. Also, would expect the refrigerator to be a refrigerator/freezer combination. The carpet looked clean, but after walking around the room a few minutes in our stocking feet, white socks quickly turned black. The hotel is close to the Disney park - less than a mile plus the local bus line named ART is convenient and affordable. All things relative to this hotel worked well for our visit to Disney and we would recommend to others.
Great staff... made sure my room was available even though I was delayed and a late check-in. Maid service was friendly and very thorough. Denny's is right next door; Disneyland with-in walking distance. Able to watch fireworks from room. Would stay again.
I have stayed at this hotel for the past 5 years during our annual Disneyland trip and it has always been a pleasurable experience. Great location to the Disney parks, clean rooms, pool, hot tub, great staff!
We stayed at Pavillions on our recent trip to Disneyland. We loved the proximity to the Disney Parks, the pool, jacuzzi & reasonable cost of our stay. The rooms were a little on the worn side, but clean and fairly quiet. We loved watching the nightly fireworks from the pool. We would return to this site.
The Pavillion was an Excellent place to stay, close enought to walk, see fire works and great price. Very good plce for the money. I would stay here again if the opportunity came up. The staff was pleasant, helped with any needs. I really should give this an Excellent rating.
This hotel met and even exceeded my expectations. Very clean, room nice, location was good, check-in staff was nice and informative. Would definitely stay at this hotel again. Short 10 minute walk to downtown disney. Denny's right next door.
Went on a little getaway for my honeymoon. Stopped in at the Best Western Plus and loved it. The front desk didn't have the room we were looking for so they called around to their sister branches. We decided to stay here at the plus anyways Customer service was great, and the rooms were cozy, clean and quiet. Very good experience.
Arrived on Friday October 9th. Check-in was a breeze Room 128. All the way to the back of the property. OK by me, that meant less street noise. The pool area was great with towels stocked there. Three Pepsi machines, one vending. And if you want something more there is a minimart next door. We watched Disney's fireworks show from the hot tub one night and had a more than decent view. I read a ton of reviews before booking this hotel, trying to get a good idea of how doable the walk is. If you are in fair to good shape it is a breeze. All three nights we walked home from the park. We would have walked there too if it wasn't 108 degrees outside. The shuttle to the park stops just outside and is about a 15 minute ride if it makes every stop. $3 for an adult one way. You can buy an all day pass at the park where it drops you for $5. The shower pressure was good. Checked out October 12th.
If you're looking for a basic, but quality room close to Disneyland, this is it. Room was very clean and nicely kept, no bad smells or bugs. Extremely courteous and helpful staff who are more than happy to answer questions about getting around, and allowed us early checkin. The hotel is off Katella and you can pay to use the ART shuttle to get to Disneyland, but the shuttle stops at all the area hotels and can take a very long time so we just walked. Only about a 15 minute walk to main gate of DL. Also a Denny's right next door for some late night food after a long day in the parks. I would definitely stay here again if visiting Disneyland.
We had a decent stay here. I booked this hotel for the price and proximity to Disneyland. We were able to either drive, walk or take a shuttle to Disneyland with ease and the price was only about $100-$110 a night. For the price, it was a good value. But an older hotel. While the rooms have been refurbished and are clean with nice linens, the A/C was an old swamp cooler in the wall and was very loud. And the only way to keep the room cool in 100 degree heat all weekend, was to run it 24 hours a day. Not great for sleeping. Also, there were small bugs that kept showing up in the bathroom, probably one or two a day. Not sure what they were, just kinda gross. The staff was friendly and efficient. The pool/spa area was very nice. The stay overall was good.
We stayed here for 3 nights, in Oct 2015. Older hotel, but very clean and quiet. Microwave and mini fridge in room. Small bathroom, but clean. Not all buildings have an elevator. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Next door is a Dennys, and a little mini mart on the other side. The grab and go breakfast was nothing we wanted. The only drawback for this hotel is that the ART shuttle route was longer than others and did not seem to run as often. We heard others complain about the same thing. You can walk though through the Disneyland parking lot. You can also see the fireworks from your room window.
Very good, clean hotel. Quiet room and well located. Denny's next door. 10 minute walk to Disneyland but shuttle stop outside door if desired. Good value and will certainly stay here again. Very happy and hope this is enough characters now to meet TripAdvisor requirements.
Room clean, you received a bag breakfast only till 10 am, and it was apple, granola bar and yogurt, blueberry muffin. It would have been nicer to have a different selection especially when you stay 7 days. Also, The AIR CONDITIONING is EXTREMELY loud. had to purchase ear plugs
I try to stay at Best Western PLUS for business and I average 10 nights per month at various BW PLUS places throughout the US. This hotel is of the older models but is VERY well maintained and clean. PLUS it is very CLOSE to Disneyland main gate. The Hotel is very well serviced and the front desk people are very friendly. The rooms are well maintained, very clean and neat.. The TV is a newer LG flat screen with 50+ channels including HBO. I am used to the "plus" in BW meaning full breakfast with eggs, sausage etc.. All we get here is coffee, no REAL milk or half& half and few pre--packaged muffins and maybe yogurt. This is NOT BW PLUS. And it is served on a few shelves in the small lobby. Again the rooms are good, clean well serviced...but not PLUS. AND they have smoking towers every so often just outside all of the rooms which are NON smoking. I had two young men smoking outside near my door ..I had to exist through their wall of smoke but they were not smoking in their rooms ( as required) but the smoke permeated all surrounding rooms. I STRONGLY suggest the hotel remove these smoking pits all together..well away from the rooms.
Great location, great value, very clean and comfortable. If you want somewhere that is close to all the attractions with buses at the door, then this is for you. The staff are very friendly and helpful, nothing is too difficult, they actually enjoyed helping you out with any enquiries we had.
This hotel is situated across the street from DL. There is a large parking lot that you need to cross in order to reach Disney property. If you are doing any of the Disney races, then this is a great location, as well. Free wifi and parking. Close to a few small places to eat but easily within walking distance of a ton of places to eat. The room has a small fridge. The hotel itself looks older but the rooms are clean and the price range is modest.
The Hotel was conveniently located for visits to both theme parks . Great stay room was very clean and the staff were pleasant and professional .Look forward to staying here again A reasonably price stay and a pleasant atmosphere made our family trip a Great experience. Hats off to this Best Western Hotel
This hotel is in a great location if you're going to downtown Disney and the Disney parks. Across the street and through a parking lot is just a 7 minute walk to get to downtown Disney. Rooms are clean and spacious. Huge thanks to Jeannette at the front desk who helped us out with booking tours and getting transportation. Breakfast is a grab and go - apples, juice boxes, granola bars and yogurt but there is a Denny's right beside the hotel for bigger appetites.
