Best Western Plus Country Meadows Inn

I went for a spontaneous weekend escape with my daughters. We had a great time! We enjoyed the pool and whirlpool. We enjoyed the options at breakfast, especially the BW waffle. It was fluffy and tasty. There were many other options at the full breakfast that we enjoyed. I had raisin bran cereal and waffle. My girls had sausages, potatoes, yogourt. The room was great and quiet. The location is convenient for getting dinner at many different places around, restaurants and takeout places. We also went to the grocery store across the street. Everything is right there. It was raining so, we spent most of the time in the room and pool to relax.

Staff in general appeared to be unhappy to be doing things, sighing when asked for something that was part of their job or just short and unfriendly. The room carpet smelled like dog and the tub drain was plugged.

A domestic dispute was happening all night the hotel has very thin walls which meant we could hear everything and could not sleep. The staff did ask them to stop but it continued I did not feel safe there, and checked out early but was charged both nights regardless.

We enjoyed the rooms, pool, hot tub, fitness room and the Breakfast Room. Love the friendly relaxed, helpfulness, knowledge and appreciation the staff shows to the guest. This hotel is also close to the Canadian United States border, the Abbotsford Airport, the Vancouver Zoo, Krause Berry Farm, J. D. Turkey Farms, Artisan Cheesemakers of the Fraser Valley and Numerous wine tasting Wineries. Good place overall!

This is our third time staying at this hotel as it is in an excellent location, close to all amenities and it is well maintained, clean and has everything we need. Great selection of breakfast items and friendly staff. Beds are very comfortable.

Stayed during the Sept 10th car show and found this location was ideally located to the street the car show was on. Staff was helpful in providing answers to our questions and suggesting local shopping ideas.

We came to Aldergrove for the Langley Good Times Car Show from Victoria. We had a large group and rented 33 rooms. The hotel staff was awesome even had cones out for us to save our parking spots for our hot rods… the continental breakfast was great lots of options. The rooms are clean, spacious. The beds are great. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel. We will be back next year for sure.

Overall stay was okay. We were down for medical reason as well as to see some family. The beds were awful, but the rooms were decent. The staff seemed friendly for the most part, there was a little difficulty at check-in but nothing major. The free breakfast was okay, but the location of this hotel is terrible!

My experience was excellent. My kids. Lots enjoy. This place is very good for family for friends for any kind of people including breakfast, , fitness and pool my kids very enjoy in pool and you can come with pets

We stay t there with my kids and it was very noisy all night , very hard to sleep We ask for quiet few times out side and we got the answer yes no problem yes no problem but it didn't stop as well drinking in the pool area

We enjoyed our stay. Excellent Friendly Service. This hotel is close to Vancouver Zoo, Abbotsford Airport, and the US/Canada Border. It is also close to Krause Berry Farms which have an ice cream bar with excellent strawberry ice cream and yummy corn pizzas, they also have a store a bakery a all day waffle area and a wine tasting room with nachos. This hotel is also close to J D Farms Specialty Turkey Farm with a store and Bistro. The Bistro is excellent place to have hot turkey, cranberries and stuffing , yummy

Warm welcome, clean and well appointed rooms (we rented two) one with a king and a jacuzzi in suite… the other was like a mini suite with two bedrooms. Both rooms were very nice, clean comfortable beds etc. great hot breakfast…coffee was really good. Staff were all very helpful.

We booked this property on a trip from Calgary to Vancouver Island. It was totally adequate for the price point. The room was just as we expected: clean, appropriately furnished and comfortable. The included breakfast was adequate and predictable. The staff did their jobs and we had no negative interactions. We got what we expected, and what we paid for.

I booked online direct through Best Western website. I went to check in and they informed me my reservation was booked for the following night. As I was outside my cancellation window the lady at the Desk could not help me with a refund and they had no rooms for that evening. I called Best Western Customer relations and they submitted a review to the manager at the Hotel. The next day I received a call from the nicest hotel manager (I wish I would have gotten his name) and he helped me to get a full refund. I can't thank him enough for not charging me after I had to find another hotel 30 minutes away and it cost me double what this room was. A HUGE THANK YOU TO THE MANAGER I will not hesitate to stay there again.

We've stayed here twice now, both times the hot tub has not worked properly. If you have plans early in the morning you'll have to figure out a breakfast as they don't start serving until 7am (we had to leave the hotel by 7am both mornings so we did not get the full value of our stay). We were supposed to stay with friends but the hotel tried to charge them a day early and it did not work, instead of contacting them to try and sort the situation, they canceled the reservation with no notice, leaving them to scramble to try and find another hotel because they wouldn't offer them another room. The lady that was at the desk while this was being sorted out was not very pleasant to deal with (yes our friends were not very happy and were a bit unpleasant as well but thats to be expected in this situation).

Traveling with a pet, options are quite limited, and after much research, this hotel seemed my best choice. I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival to find I was conveniently close to the front entrance for the dog. The room had laminate flooring, and was lovely and clean. The breakfast buffet was the nicest one I've had, including all the usual selections, as well as waffles, eggs, sausage and hash browns. Would not hesitate to return anytime with or without the dog.

Had to cancel due to an emergency a week before my trip. When I called they said I was locked in and would not refund my money or offer another date. They basically stole over $500 of my money for a three night stay I was unable to use. They had no compassion and could not care less that I had to cancel. I even asked could it be moved to another date and used that way and they not even do this. I have never had problems with best western in the past but this was the exception, I will be telling everyone that travels to BC not to use this hotel. Very disappointed, and as a senior cannot afford to be out over $500 because of a unpredicted emergency. Management was completely uncaring, BW customer service advised talking to hotel as they had the powerto cancel and refund or rebook. Just greed and money mattered to them.

We stayed one night to break our journey from the US to Victoria. Very close to the Aldergrove border crossing and also the Vancouver Zoo. Comfortable, well equipped with onsite White Spot and free, comprehensive, breakfast.

The room was SO HOT. We had the A/C on full blast and the room was still hot.. and it's not even summer yet!!. The fridge was not cold - our beverages stayed cold in our cooler with an ice pack. My daughter found a pack of Nicolette gum beside the bed. The front desk staff just replied “oh” when I provided the feedback. Not a great experience.

Stay away from this place. We checked in three rooms for three nights but after the first night one member of our party got sick so we had to leave a day early. We gave the hotel 24 hours notice but they charged us for the third night anyway. The front desk clerk was rude and ignorant. Just give it a pass, there are so many great places to stay, you can do better than this

This was a Best western Plus motel. It should be a BW minus motel. Checked in, was asked if we had a dog. No, we didn't-strange question. Went to our room with kitchenette (which we had reserved) and could smell a bad smell as we approached the room. Opened the door and the smell was terrible- a cross between a wet dog and dead cat! Returned to the front desk and was offered a bottle of room deodorizer spray. "See if that helps, if not the manager can move you in the morning" was the response. We sprayed the room and then went out for supper. We returned, the smell was no better but had the deodorizer smell to help mask it. We were too tired to pursue it further that night since the desk clerk had no empowerment to change. The next day I spoke to the front desk manager who had no personality at all. He showed no concern for the situation other than to say he would send housekeeping down to see us. we found a housekeeper ourselves but there was a language barrier and she got her supervisor. The supervisor came down the hall and upon entering the room gaged and said" do you have a dog?" She couldn't believe the smell and went to the front desk to talk to the front desk manager about moving us. He came to the door, obviously put out and said "gather up your things we are moving you" and left. We were booked in for almost a week and had a lot of things to move, he didn't bring the luggage cart which he walked by or stay and help. He never even brought new key cards, I had to go down to the desk and pick them up myself. There was no apology for the room condition or the inconvenience. The motel was nowhere near full at this time of the week. The other item I reported just after check in was that the picture was missing off the wall in the room and a large hole that was hidden by the picture was staring us in the face. Not that the picture matters but I didn't want to be accused of stealing it. Again this was a Best Western PLUS, so we had reasonable expectations of a clean, non smelly room without holes in the wall, ripped mattress skirts, filthy stained wallpaper by the kitchenette and filthy dirty closet track in the make up area. We were on vacation, so wanted to sleep a little later, but no- housekeeping starts knocking on doors up and down the hall announcing "housekeeping" at 7:15 in the morning.

Booked in for three nights . Highly recommend that you DO NOT stay there if sports teams are there. Teenagers running up and down the halls, yelling until after 10 pm. The front desk staff finally had to threaten them with the police to make them be quiet. I believe the franchise has changed hands - as I have stayed there in the past with nothing like this occurring. I have tried to post this review earlier today with no luck. Hopefully this will go through.

Best Western Plus is our "go to" hotel. We find the service impeccable, the beds comfortable, convenient location and an appetizing breakfast to start our day. We travel with our pet and find the nicest rooms with BW Plus.

I stayed here while I was in town for a wedding I was in, on July 15th…I told reception when I checked in I was from out of town… a week after I checked out I still had not received my deposit back… when I started messaging the hotel, I was ignored and then got one rude response back finally after me messaging everyday. Stating they cannot send my money and it needs to be in person… nobody once said this to me… it is now September 15th and I have been ignored and lied to NON stop since I checked out. They have made NO effort to correct this situation or return my $300 deposit. I have to pretend to be someone else when I call the location to get the manager on the phone. They have purposely ignored me and avoid speaking to me and rectifying this situation. September 14th and I still have NOT received a call back from anyone!! They said they mailed the cheque Aug 11th almost one month after me fighting daily for it! Not one apology, and now another month has passed and NOTHING! Mail for NOT take that long to arrive! This place and management are scam artists. DO NOT STAY here, unless you don't like keeping your hard earned money.

When I had my breakfast i had issue with a stomach. 10 minutes later After coming back from the washroom i was embarrassed by personnel shouting at me that entering breakfast room is not allowed for the 2nd time. I was insulted in front of all people sitting in the dining area. I had to shout back that i had to go to the washroom due to stomach upset. But the i didnt want to take meal, had my coffee and took off

Pet friendly rooms are stained and smell terrible wouldn't refund me i always stay at best western because of the nice pet friendly rooms this place should not be aloud to call itself a bestwestern went to pitt meadows best western instead rooms were awesome plus heated outdoor pool

This hotel is NOT pet friendly. It is dog friendly. One. One dog friendly. I booked this hotel through airmiles and everything all over the site said pet friendly but said to call well in advance to make sure you get a pet room. I called more than a month in advance only to be told they do not accept cats. And, I have to call Airmiles to sort out the "no cancellation under any circumstances" policy. I did and Airmiles tells me that there, on the website, is something saying dogs only. I still can't find it but apparently this is enough to make sure that they get to keep the money.

Front desk did not care when we reported the AC didn't work. The flipped the breaker that wasn't connected to the AC at all just the lights & tv. no fans either. Can't call or talk to manager as he went home at 3pm and she doubted he would return to talk to us. We went to buy a fan & miraculously they had a no show so we were able to change rooms but no help in moving belongings. They didn't care and this place is run down. hot tub murky, no pool towels, railing into pool moves and felt like it would fall off. Housekeeping knocks on door at 9:30am to clean the room we were still in as check out is 11am.

Problems started right at check-in when I was told I didn't have the room I prepaid for, then they tried to make me pay more for it. The toilet was broken, I told them immediately but it was not fixed for TWO days. During my stay, staff left my room door ajar on two different days (with all of my things in my room) while I was gone for several hours. How things were handled got worse and worse. The front desk clerk was rude during every interaction and even told me I was “making things up” at one point. She insisted she had closed the room door until I told her to review their security camera. She said she would look at it, then nothing. I was there for six nights and followed up after with the manager on all of this. He did NOT care. Not even a perfunctory apology. There are many, much better hotels at a similar price in Langley & Aldergrove. Stay in one of those. Avoid this one!!!!

We stayed here for 3 nights whilst visiting family nearby. The hotel was well suited to our needs. Clean, comfortable & conveniently located. The staff were pleasant & accommodating. Our biggest issue is the amount of waste created by the included breakfast. Too many single-use items. Also more fresh fruit would be nice especially given that the hotel is in the middle of farm country.

The hotel is a 5 minute drive from the US border, and about 5 minutes from the trans-Canada highway to Vancouver. The hotel lobby was clean, the rooms were very clean and well looked after. The bed was nice and comfy. I got a good night's sleep. Plenty of free parking and next to a restaurant make it conveniently located. It's near to a few gas stations and a Shoppers drug mart. For it being a country hotel in a small town I was impressed. I will stay there again for sure.

Please DO NOT stay here. The man at the front desk was the most incompetent person I have ever met. Extremely rude. Absolutely ZERO customer service skills. I had to wait to check in 10 minutes with no line up so he could finish playing on his phone. Checking in was an absolute joke as he could barely handle helping me. On a holiday weekend, he said there was no manager around to speak to me. Absolutely absurd. We were apart of a wedding block reservation and people had to pay twice for their rooms. The front desk man was unacceptable and should not have a job there. The rooms were so damp and musty smelling. The carpet was disgusting. The bed/pillows were not comfortable. The air conditioning either couldn't keep up or sounded like a diesel truck. The pool was dirty. The pool railing was falling apart and loose. They don't keep towels in the pool area so you have to go find towels somewhere while you are in your wet swimsuit. The only good thing about this hotel was the continental breakfast and leaving. Again, please do not stay here.

The check in was very smooth, the room was fine and all in all, a decent stay. We only stayed one night for a wedding, and it was pretty much what you hope for. Clean, easy to check in and check out. The staff was busy, but friendly. Having a White Spot onsite is a definite bonus.

I stayed here for two nights this past weekend and on our second day my 5 year old daughter found a NEEDLE in our “clean room” behind the chair by the table. I was absolutely horrified! I informed the front desk immediately and they came up and picked it up using a tissue and their bare hands (no gloves). I received no apology and barely any words were spoken. I was shaking with anger over the possibilities of what could have happened had my 5 year old not been mature enough to know to immediately tell me and not touch it! If my 2 year old had found it, it could have been a completely different story. I emailed the hotel immediately asking for a full refund and to be put in contact with the hotel manager and to have their phone number and email. It has now been 3 days and I have heard nothing despite emailing each day. I will continue to share this experience until I am refunded and am provided details on how they will ensure this does not happen again. There is no way our room was thoroughly cleaned. My daughter is still talking about it days later and saying she never wants to stay there again (rest assured - we absolutely never will be). Other issues we had: - outlets in our bathroom didn't work so was forced to get ready in the room hallway. Informed front desk and they said they'd come to look at it and never did. - our keys did not work multiple times. They had to reset our actual lock and on the second day use a physical master key to get us into our room. If you value your family's safety, do not stay here!

Wasn't the cleanest room and expected more from staying at previous BWP locations. Breakfast was excellent with many choices and nice seating area. Excellent staff Parking was okay but only exit/entry was the main lobby, if you're parked in the back by the white spot at your room you'd have to walk all the way around back thru the lobby to your room etc..

Hotel is clean and in a quiet location. No Chinese food in the area. Staff are friendly and breakfast is good as usual. I travel from Seattle. Very close to the U.S. border so no traffic at all when return.

Rooms were clean and staff were friendly. There were a couple of tech glitches but staff handled them quickly and well. Near a grocery store, restaurants and gas station. Fairly good value for the money but would appreciate more of a deal.

I contracted covid the day a was supposed to stay at the hotel. Because I did not cancel within the 24 hours they made me pay anyway. I understand this is a policy, but there should be accommodations for some circumstances. They were still willing to let me come to the hotel and stay there while I had covid. This is not a responsible business.

2 night stay, clean and comfortable room, great amenities, great breakfast, great wifi connection, and to top it off, there' s a White Spot restaurant on site. Not the "cheapest" place to stay, but it is worthit.

Loved this hotel the first time we stayed, this time we ran into a few issues doesn't appear we were the only ones. Would stay again in the future. Rooms are clean, super close to lots of food options

Loved this place, staff were amazing and the breakfast outstanding. We took the kids to the pool, picked up a great meal at White Spot next door and had a great time. We will definitely be back for more fun.

I would not recommend this hotel for any one who has diverse disabilities. The room claims to wheelchair accessible but I would not consider it to be. The bath tub has no non slip mats, the bed is extremely high, there is only one grab bar by the toilet and bath tub, there is no door stop to even get into the room! The pool only has one railing on the steps so it is likely that someone with diverse disabilities is not able to get in.

So we arrived in room 248 to a big what appeared to be a blood stain on the carpet beside the beside. Walked around the room and found more blood stains all over the carpet in the room. Took pictures and went to the front desk to ask for another room but no rooms were available. Was told by front desk girl that manager will be in the morning and will offer discount or refund. Stayed in the room because we had no other option and found more stains around bed headboard. Talk to the manager on duty in the morning and he brushed it off to nail polish stains and has been there for a month. I said that would you stay in a room with stains??? He did nothing and said that I need to talk to the head manager. Will never stay there ever again and will advise other friends the same

The room was nice and clean and the housekeeper was awesome along with all staff in thiis establishment. It was nice to have access to breakfast every morning with different breakfast choices each day and the hotel was always clean and the front desk staff so friendly. I love how they have a place for smokers. Although the highway runs besides it, we didn't hear anything from that. I enjoy that all around there are a pharmacy close by as well as different fast food establishment.

Very rude and unkind people working at the desks. Female receptionist at check in was on a personal call while speaking to me. Laughing and not paying attention. Taking selfies and videos of herself while guests were in the hotel lobby. Male receptionist at checkout accused us of sneaking in a little white dog! A horrible camera view of a male East Indian man leaving the room beside us at 9pm while myself, my husband and our 3 year old and 1 year old were asleep. Made rude comments and argued with me. He also laughed at our son while he through a tantrum in the lobby waiting for me while we were trying to calm him down. Very unkind and unwelcoming. Will never return or we will be notifying our family and friends to stay away from this hotel!

Best Western Country Meadows Inn provided us with very pleasant accommodations for a last minute booking we had to make after not being able to stay with family for and overnight stay. Staff were all friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Free breakfast was good - Orange juice tasted fresh squeezed and the BW signature waffles were great!

Clean hotel with friendly service, good beds and great breakfast. Location is good as well. Close to a few great restaurants and the highway. Quiet location. Fact that this hotel has a pool and a fitness center is an advantage as well

Unfortunately the customer service was poor. My room lost power at 3:00am and the issue could not be resolved until check out. I planned on getting up early to prepare for an important meeting, but had absolutely no light in my room. Laptop/phone ran out of power, I couldn't shower or make a coffee. I asked for another room, but was told that is not an option. When I politely asked how the reception manager will resolve this issue, I was offered a $15 credit. Pretty poor resolution to a situation that resulted in an awful start to my day. While I can understand that issues can arise, I would have liked to see this dealt with differently.Plenty of hotels in the area, won't stay here again.

I booked this for a quick overnight stay because I was picking up someone from the Abbotsford airport in the middle of the night and didn't want to drive back to Vancouver. The staff were amazing - everything I'd discussed with the reservation clerk was included in the check-in information, and they went out of their way to meet my requests. The accessible room was clean and well-set up, the beds were very comfortable and the room was quieter than I expected. After a good sleep, we really enjoyed the generous and very tasty breakfast bar which had a delicious and quite wide range of breakfast options. I would stay here again, and will be looking for Best Western Plus hotels for future travel.

We stayed in room 217 which has a great layout for families, not quite two bedrooms but two nicely separated sleeping areas. Rooms were clean and I appreciated having lots of usb charging ports on all the lamps. Mini fridge, coffee maker, and microwave made mornings easy and cheap. However, this room is located right above the pool and the noise is basically like you're in there. You can hear every word echoing. We're early risers so not a huge problem but you should expect to hear rowdy games of Marco Polo from 8am-9pm daily - definitely loud enough you'd have trouble sleeping through it.

Day time Front desk staff is less than respectful, and equally dishonest ! Ironically the evening & night shift staff were courteous & kind. Plumbing in bathroom was in need of maintenance/replacement.

This hotel was excellent in every area. Even tho it is 8km off #1 highway, well worth the extra few minute drive to get to. Rooms are clean and modern, attached restaurant is great. Highly recommend this hotel.

Nice friendly hotel in a great location for my purpose. Easy access to travel all around the area, from Abbotsford to Surrey! Fifteen minutes from the airport and easy to find. Across from stores and close to so many restaurants! Five minutes to the Trans Canada highway and a short trip to Vancouver.

I had a wonderful experience in this hotel; all the staff are friendly and this hotel is clean. Definitely will come back again and I recommend it to everyone to check it out. Their breakfast has a lot of variety to choose from.

Right from the beginning to the end it has been a pleasant experience thanks to the friendliness of their outstanding team members especially the people at the front desk and the cleanliness and the emenities here at this Hotel. Thank you very much!

I was not too impressed with how my stay started out. I was pretty much stranded on the island due to ferry cancellations. I tried calling to see if I could cancel the reservation. I found out I couldn't but the lady on the phone said I would get a call from the manager so I could discuss my dilemma. She confidently said I'd hear from the Manager in minutes. That did not happen. Second when I stay at any hotel or motel I'll give my mother the phone number and the room number 2 times she didn't put my mother's call though. All it did was play music. And lastly I was not too impressed with the hot tub no instructions how to use it or even how to empty it. Not too impressed with everything but when the manager didn't have the common courtesy to at least see why I want to cancel not a good sign of customer service

From making our reservation to checking us in and out! Everything in between! Very friendly and knowledgeable about all of the amenities! Always said hello to us coming and going, nice touch. The breakfast was very good and very clean! The piool and hot tub were relaxing but I think the hot tub could use an update, jets are poor!

The room we stayed in was very clean and comfortable where we felt secure. The location is convenient as there were different food options and shops within the area. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone

Couldn't have asked for a better stay or experience from the staff. It was clean quiet and a pleasurable experience. The breakfast was good the staff where very friendly and they did their best to accommodate you.

The Hotel was really clean; and breakfast was pretty good; service staff in the counter was really helpfull, plenty of parking; the room was cozy amd clean; was big my kids really enjoyed their stay in the hotel

I was pleasantly surprised with the great location. Lots of parking, great breakfast. Stores, restaurants within walking distance. Clean rooms pet friendly. Perfect for my family, hot breakfast options and a pool.

This hotel is very busy and is used by workers in the area who like to get drunk in the parking lot. Depending on which front desk person you get, service can be quite different. Hallways smelled of marijuana, not sure if that was the air freshener or actual pot because we smelled it all day long and over 2 days.

Not sure why they do not put towels in the bathroom? Had to put up shower curtain ourselves. Phone and internet did not work. Front desk clerk seemed uninterested and didn't really care. Not recommended to stay here again.

First time in this hotel. Usually stay at the one in Abbotsford but they were fully booked. Also the first time a hotel tells me they are out of bar soap (only after checking in and going to my room to realize) No manager on site. Will have to wait until tomorrow to find out what happened. Did anyone ever face the same issue ?

The staff were absolutely wonderful from 'Check in' to Breakfast and 'Check out'. This is a very beautiful property and room, unfortunately I checked in too late to enjoy any of the amenities; I definitely will be staying here in the future.

We found the staff very accommodating from the front desk, cleaning ladies and the breakfast ladies. Easy to check-in, room had everything, the mini fridge was even plugged in and working well. The air conditioning unit was quite and efficient also.

I was still charged 170$ for a dirty room. I brought it up to the front counter, along with how bad the pool was. Thick layer on the bottom of hair and I assume old skin. Front door was covered in hand prints all day. Breakfast was good,

I would recommend the Best Western in Aldergrove. The staff at Best Western Country Meadows were a pleasure to deal with during my stay. The convenience to the Abbotsford airport was an additional bonus. Again, My stay was an enjoy experience!

Ed at the front desk was so rude to us and my child . When asking for extra towels because we didn't have enough and didn't even have a coffee cup in our room . My credit card was charged the full amount before I even got there and I wasn't even going to pay for both rooms and 5 days later I still haven't gotten my money back so far one room was paid twice and wrecked my plans with extra money. When checking out my husband and mom were really treated with disgraceful. When do the staff leave the front desk when trying to check out and make you sit while they go check your room ! Made us feel awful. We wouldn't even dream of wrecking the room. We will never ever stay at that hotel again . All the other staff were very sweet and nice. I travel all the time and that's the first time I was made to feel like a criminal and it was heartbreaking.

Breakfast room was so overcrowded, people standing around tables eating, people in beverage room . Social distancing non existent. However only 3 families allowed in the pool….. Dusting and cleaning needed. Rooms are great! Check your front door for closure!

Breakfast was outstanding. Room and hotel great place to stay. Located close to Abbotsford Airport. Clean facility, room was clean and comfortable. Parking was ample. Whitespot restaurant next door and with a room you can get a discount.

Stayed here on our trip through BC. We stayed at a variety of hotels and an AirBNB. This hotel was one of our top stays. Small so not too busy and loud, loved that it was attached to a White Spot restaurant, and that breakfast was included. We stayed with our two small kids and had a great stay. Was worried because it's right off a busy road but you couldn't really hear anything once you were in your room. For the money saved (best rate I could find in the area) it was totally worth it and would recommend it and would stay there again.

When we arrived in our room we noticed the floors had not been cleaned then found that our door wouldn't lock! Tried to call the front desk about the door and the room phone didn't work. Went down to tell the front desk and they said it would be fixed after our stay. Pool and hot tub also seemed quite dirty. Very disappointed.

The hotel was clean andI saw them maintain that cleanliness as I went through the lobby during my stay. The staff were polite and friendly. The check in was quick. I would definitely stay here again when I next travel this way.

Clearly a pet had soiled the carpet. The smell in the room was appalling. Unfortunately hotel was full and alternative room not available. Could not open window. Hardly slept - so annoyed. COVID breakfast poor.

The staff were very friendly and the beds, bathroom and kitchen were very clean. Would have liked an earlier check in time but I understand they need time to clean the rooms. Pool room was nice and stocked with towels. The only complaint I have was that the carpets in our room were absolutely caked with dirt. Oh yeah breakfast was delicious.

Our family (three generations) were pleasantly surprised at the quality of this hotel. Because it was on the lower end of the cost scale, we anticipated it to be a little less than a four or five star establishment. Our room however, was spotless and the beds as comfortable as any highly rated hotel that we have been in. The desk attendants were friendly, polite and always willing to assist. The pool was limited to one family at a time, which made it even more enjoyable. I have nothing negative to say about this particular hotel as it offered all that we required and at a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend it to friends and anyone looking to stay near this area. I would say, it is probably worth the drive, even if you were not in the immediate area.

Incredibly friendly staff who were extremely helpful. Very clean room. I travelled with three children and the front desk staff were actually amazing. I don't think I've ever stayed somewhere with my family where the team was so great and we travel often. Very clean location, quiet and we'd definitely stay again.

We want more friendly staff at front desk , and need flexible time for check out , they said after 12 pm they will charge extra money for late . We want just having lunch that's why we were little late

Nice property, but be very aware when booking! As I work mostly on the road, I usually book an extra night or two, just so I don't loose my place-to-stay, if my project gets extended. With over 10 years of being on the road, for work, this is only the 2nd hotel that I've encountered that DOES NOT want to credit you, if you check-out early (even with day before notice)! It took a lot of inquiring by me, and finally calling in to talk to the manager, before they'd agree to not charge me, for my un-needed nights. Also, I have no idea whom the Manager is, as I found the front desk staff (Ed) to be sarcastic, and a little on the rude side, and that he refused to let me talk to the manager. Nice hotel, but I highly recommend looking into some of the other (very nice) hotels in the area.

The coquihalla highway was closed down the same evening of the reservation and we weren't able to make it to the reserved room. When we called upon discovering this we were told it would be reimbursed because the circumstances were out of control and to call back in the morning. We called back in the morning, and were never reimbursed.

We have stayed here several times. The location is close enough to Vancouver. There is a grocery store close. The rooms are clean and staff is friendly. I don't have any others words but have to get to 200.

I like hard beds, but this was uncomfortably solid. I didn't ask to change rooms tho. Checkin was quick, easy, professional and polite for being late at night without a previous reservation. Everything else was great.

Great location for travelling anywhere in the Fraser valley from Chilliwack to Vancouver, we went to Stanley Park and it was about an hour drive. Easy highway 1 access and lots of stores/food/coffee shops/gas within walking distance. Very comfortable room with good beds and nice shower, and we were surprised with how big the mini fridge was compared to other hotels we have stayed at. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Very clean and sanitized.

Very clean and tidy. I brought my little chihauhau with me and she was welcomed with no issues, just wish they had a designated area for them to do their business as the only grass area was very close to the main road.otherwise was an awesome place to stay.

This place at first was nice until the morning and found bed bugs crawling all of my 4 year old daughter in room 236. I'm not happy and will not recommend this place and never come back. With the threat of covid-19 going you would think this hotel would be on there game. Keeping things clean is a must clearly not here.

there was one fella that worked the counters in the morning was great i would offer him a job if he ever moved to alberta. The rooms were clean and organized staff was great breakfast options were limited with covid.

The Guy that booked us over the phone was the most friendly person I've ever spoken too while booking a hotel. I stay in a lot of hotels for work, and he was amazing. The downfall to this stay... is the hardest bed I have ever felt. Legit felt like sleeping on the floor with a yoga mat. In fact, my 13 year old son chose to sleep on the floor instead on top of 4 pillows laid out. Perhaps it was because we were in a pet friendly room? #110. When I enquired at the front desk at 1am (because we couldn't sleep) I asked if all the beds were the same or if they were just bad beds because they were the pet rooms, he wasn't able to assist because they had no other pet friendly rooms available to check. In the morning the front desk lady, (who was very friendly,I know this isn't her fault) assured me that our beds at the hotel were more padded then her bed at home. Also the bed closest to the window creaked so loud anytime you moved at all on it, so I was thankful my son chose to sleep on the floor after all. Haha. Just know going in, if you are staying here, in a pet friendly room at least, that the beds are solid rocks. My back is paying for it today. Upside, the room was very clean, except for staining on the carpets which I am sure was due to some people not taking care with their pets...

We stay here every time we come to the area because we always have a good experience! This one was a little different with the global pandemic, but I felt that they had really good protocols in place for physical distancing and the room felt very clean. The "to-go" breakfasts were decent as well! Also, really appreciate that this hotel is pet friendly!!

I stayed during COVID so everything was extra paranoid. The staff was super-friendly and helpful, fixed any problems at the drop of the hat. The housekeeping staff were very vigilant and thorough. My room was spotless and the beds comfortable as they had pillowtops. The coffee was also pretty good, always a pleasant surprise in a hotel! Parking was plentiful and there are a lot of restaurants and conveniences very nearby. They're also in Doordash's radius and service was quick. It was very economical, I'd pay more if I were to need a hotel in the area again. I would definitely stay here again.

A booking mistake cost me the price of the nights stay. I was traveling and they didn't answer the phone when I could call. Travelled from New Brunswick to British Columbia (14 Hours with layovers) I rebooked in the correct Best Western in Abbotsford.

My room (101) was right next to the front entrance and under the staircase, which made it extremely noisy. Noticing the location upon check-in, I asked if I could be moved (which usually isn't an issue, even if fully booked), but was told it wasn't possible due to them being fully booked (I'm not sure how their booking system works, but I have actually never had an issue with this, even when hotels are fully booked and especially since I had a relatively early check-in for the day).Then a tour bus rolled in at 6 am to the front entrance, creating a storm of foot traffic and exhaust fumes from the bus parked outside my window. Front desk staff were marginally, if not completely unhelpful in resolving these issues. Cleaning staff came into my room unannounced in the morning - while I was in the bathroom on the toilet !! After copious inconveniences, hotel management offered no compensation of any kind. As a minor note (which seems trivial in comparison to other larger issues) - I am not a fan of the wasteful K-cup coffee makers that they have. I would NOT recommend this place based on this experience.

Customer service was excellent! The lady working behind the desk greeted us with a smile and provided a safe place to stay. She listened as we talked and provided understanding!!! The best!!! The room we stayed in was excellent and we were close to the pool and hot tub.

met all my needs,would recommend staying there.centrally located for my stay,having driven all day to get to aldergrove it was nice to just walk to the other end of the building to have a good and relaxing meal.there are plenty of other resturants ,coffee shops and shopping within walking distance.all in all two thumbs up!

No doors clunk when closing at this Best Western! Used to stay at Best Westerns regularly until loud closing doors were installed. They wake u up all night! This Best Western had the perfect everything. Thank you so much. Perfect place to stay just before Christmas.

Selected this hotel during a family vacation to Canada because it advertises as pet friendly. Did a filtered search and selection through booking.com for our pet. We've traveled extensively for work and vacation using trip advisor / booking.com and this is the first bad experience with expectations of staying with our dog. We go to check in and the manager working the front desk rolled his eyes as he huffed and said all of his pet friendly rooms are taken already and we'll have to go somewhere else. He was very arrogant and blamed booking.com for the problem and said we would have to work out any issues we have with them. It's not his problem. He spoke very negatively about third party booking applications and that we deserve this bad experience for using the app rather than booking with the hotel directly. So we contact booking.com moments later and they say they spoke with manager Blake Reed and he tells them he offered us the room with a pet for an extra $300 but we refused and left the hotel without checking in. He was lying. So we called the Hotel back after speaking with booking.com and Blake had just left the fir the night. The whole time when we are on hold with this hotel their automated message on hold brags about how you don't have to leave your pet at home because they are pet friendly. Lesson Learned: - Don't book this hotel using a third party app. Their management (Blake at least) would much rather you book directly with the hotel, you may not get the room you pay for with the app. - Don't expect the management to be honest if there is a dispute. - Beware that they falsely advertise pet friendly rooms, sell it to you, then when you show up to check in they tell you all of their pet friendly rooms are booked and you can't stay there with your pet, and you will not get a refund. Just like manager Blake told us, if we booked with the hotel directly instead of using an app it wouldn't have been a problem. Well, not sure I believe him... Booking.com didn't give good customer support during this transaction either. At least they called the hotel, but said they couldn't dispute Blake's honest word and couldn't give a refund without his approval.

Satisfied stay, check in is well, stay is as wanted, all is good, check out is fast, hotel and room looks as shown in website. cleanliness is okay, reception is friendly. would recommend to others for stay.

BW Country Meadows is easy to find, lots of parking and a good value place to stay. The breakfast (included) is very good and there is also a Whitespot next door for dinner. We found the room clean and well-organised and the internet worked very well.

Aldergrove has become a vital stop for us when visiting the lower mainland as we enjoy visiting friends in the area. The Best Western makes a great backdrop for this endeavor as there is a great restaurant on site and some other amenities in the vicinity. The hotel itself goes out of their way to make guests feel welcome. The hotel is scrupulously clean and our guest room was not only well appointed, but clean as well.

Arrangements made while travelling . The front desk lady was excellent. Pleasant and accommodating. Our room was clean and well appointed. All amenities were current and functioned well, including internet. Breakfast items were sufficient to address anyones needs. Great value and location .The bed was excellent and the linens were very nice.

We were visiting Abbotsford and I'd left booking a hotel a bit late, so our regular choices in Abbotsford were full. The Country Meadows Inn was the nearest good option, so booked there, as it's only a few minutes from Abbotsford. We were warmly greeted on arrival, and throughout our stay the staff were very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable, the family enjoyed the pool, and the breakfast was one of the best we've seen in this price range. Would absolutely consider staying here again, even if the Abbotsford hotels aren't full.

We stay at this hotel quite often. It is our hotel of choice and pretty much the only one that we stay at when down on the coast. It is clean and the staff is outstanding. We have a large truck and parking is always something to consider so we find the parking lot easy to get into and out of and the parking spaces themselves are sufficient.

Kool spot,.to stay, great quality service, the staff seams to be always super polite and smiling not sure why that is but it definitely gives them and edge. It basically make you feel warm and welcomed,.. and it for real, not just a corporate smile,.lol

Our main reason for staying here was its proximity to the zoo. Very loud tour groups were at the hotel at the same time we were, and any time they were in the hallways, breakfast area or lobby when we were, it was so noisy we couldn't wait to leave. I don't know if this hotel has a contract with tour companies, and this is a regular thing, but next time we will choose a hotel further away and drive a bit more.

Everything about this stay was great. The reservation clerk was very customer service focused and quick to realize that I needed to update my rewards info. The transfer was seamless, and was just as customer service focused as the reservation. The check in at the hotel was quick and easy. I asked for a quiet room as I did see a "team" of boys staying at the hotel. My room was quiet - and we all slept like babies. The included breakfast was one of the best I have seen. The staff were accommodating to my Gluten free request - quickly bringing me GF bread and highlighting which options were GF. Well done BW! We will be returning.

The rooms looked nice online, but when we got there it was like the renovated over years of smoking rooms, and didnt bother to replace the old doors (why???). bed/pillows were okay, glad we were only there for a night. sink was separate from shower/toilet. I decided to wait until our next hotel to have a shower, it felt weird in there (husband had a bath, it was fine for him). Wouldn't let us park our utility trailer in the parking lot, luckily we had family in Maple Ridge so we could park it there over night. Super expensive for what you get. Could hear the kids running up and down halls, and jumping above us.

I made a reservation at this Aldrrgrove BW for a kitchenette. I paid extra for this. I called just before the deadline to cancel the reservation and was told by an abrupt front desk clerk that I had a regular room reserved. No kitchette. She further stated I would have to make do. Both change in rate. I asked to speak with a manager and was told he would return my call the next day. He did not return my call. I had to call back. He said he did get the message and he supposedly made changes to put us in a kitchenette. I asked what items are stocked...and was told everything. Cutlery. Pots and pans. Everything needed. The manager blamed the online booking system and said that the charge will be correct but you dont necessarily get the room that you book...its happened lots with people wanting a kitchenette and not getting it. I thought the lack of service was appalling particularly when I was committing to the reservation and was "locked in" after a certain date. When I showed up, a nasty woman was working. She made it clear that she felt I was bringing 2 dogs that I planned on "sneaking" in. I had asked the manager how much a pet was....and when I found out it was $20/day per pet, I thought this was ridiculous. I repeatedly told her that there was no animals. She then moved on to how.many people were checking in. I said 3. She wanted to know the child's age....I said 15 and she immediately said there would be an additional charge of $10/day. I said that this wasnt something I agreed to. I had no idea of this as I had booked for 2 and another child ended up coming. She insisted I would be charged at which point I asked to cancel my reservation and would go elsewhere. With a smirk she told me that i could go elsewhere, but i would be charged the full 4 night stay. I asked to talk with a manager and was told there was no one available. I insisted that the manager call me the next day. She did assure me he would be in. She then wanted me to sign the paper she printed. I refused stating I didnt agree to the additional rate they were charging. She stated that I was signing to the rate agreed to on their website. Despite being told that the kitchenette was fully stocked, there was 1 fork and 2 knives and 3 spoons. Minimal cooking utensils.An old 2 burner plug in hotplate. And a tiny fridge. When I asked for more cutlery, I was told that the room was locked now and they would have to unlock it, so it was better if I go across the street and just buy what I need??? I stated that I was paying extra for a room that they stated had supplies....and they needed to supply sufficient cutlery. The manager never called me. Never came to talk to me. Nothing. I presumed that they had rethought the validity of the additional charges...no. They put an additional $46 charge through on my credit card after I left. One of the nights we were trying to enjoy the "cold" hot tub....and a sports team was also in the pool. Kids were having fun but werent being obnoxious or disrespectful. This miserable clerk came in and kicked the whole team out of the pool area. We werent affiliated with this team. Knew none of them. And we felt bad she was being such a shrew. We left and hear her on the phone to the team coach as we walk by the desk. We wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. They seem to be very money oriented wanting to add "additional" charges that they are not upfront about. Changing reservations and hoping guests arent notified until after the period allowed to make changes. They are fraudulent to deal with. Check yor credit card statements for "extra" charges put through after you leave. They even pay staff to stand and take room numbers of people who partake in their inadequate breakfast. There was never more than 2 people from 9ut room who went. And, there is no excuse for the manager to refuse to discuss issues with guests.

Our room was really nice and clean. Everything was in place and accessible. I found it to be a little over priced but that's okay. The pillows were super comfy and there were lots!! I loved it. The staff was very friendly

I stayed here for 6 nights while visiting my daughter. The first morning after waking up, I went to Walmart and purchased the thickest foam I could find and for the next 5 nights I slept well, with no more aching hips due to the hard bed. Also, another guest enjoyed going to the exercise room at 5 am and pounding the treadmill. This thump, thump, thump banging woke me up and was persistent so further sleep was not possible. When this was brought to the attention of the staff, they apologized, but explained that this was a long term guest and even though the exercise room did not open until 7 am, he was given an exemption. I did not stay at this hotel again.

Enjoyed the stay the room was clean and comfortable for my week there. The employees were very pleasant and helpful. Lots of good places to eat within walking distance. Pool and hot tub area clean and nice.

I was there for 2 nights. very pleasant staff. My only reason for not being a 5 was area where my room was. I was beside the housekeeper/laundry room. noisy when working from room. Also enjoyed the restaurant White spot - excellent food

My dad used to stay at best westerns all the time and I never really knew why until I learnt about the rewards program and also how nice a best western really is, very clean, comfy beds and bedding, amenities were great. Continental breakfast. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Pool and hot tub were great, I usually hate swimming and just stay in the hot tub but the pool wasn't freezing so I actually swam for an hour probably

As usual my stay at country meadows was a great experience. Room was a modified handicap room ( low beds, high toilet, walk in shower) my room was pet friendly, clean and no doggy ordour. Staff are always friendly and helpful. When there was a problem with microwave the clerk took my food to nuke it.

With my health, I've had to travel to Vancouver for appointments. BW has been my choice most times. When I didn't stay there I was sorry. Well worth the money, Staff, amenities , Food , room. All excellent.

Clean and well maintained with good service. Amenities were acceptable, from what I saw, I didn't use the pool or exercise room. Good location, with some dining options near by. Set back off the Hwy, so not noisy.

Great location with Boston Pizza, McDonalds, Shoppers, Save-On, Liquor store across the street. Street Eats and Pizza Hut right next door. Pool area has been renovated, nice and bright and pool so inviting as it was so warm. Hot tub great too. Breakfast is included, which is a bonus for volleyball tournament/family trips. Price was decent.

Very nice room, good location, lots of food options including a restaurant onsite, starbucks and grocery store across the street. If you're not an early riser avoid the rooms by the breakfast bar on the second floor.

Excellent service, friendly staff, friendly guests, I always read the terrible reviews first and discredit them in my mind. I'm not saying they didn't have a bad experience at one time but also things can change. This hotel is old but has been renovated very nicely, loved the tile work, pool was clean and new, warm pool for toddlers too....Breakfast very good, many choices full hot breakfast. On a busy noisy street corner but didn't hear a thing inside....very clean.....

great stay . more consideration should be noted regarding 80+seniors staff should be trained in observing or requesting the need for bath hold bars and rooms closer to elevators these questions should be included in on line booking. fred lenten

nice quiet location. good breakfast. nice staff. When I first arrived I thought the noise level would be too great , but the rooms were quiet and the location was off the main road enough to give a good night's sleep. Cleaning staff were very good.

The front desk was very nice and helpful. The rooms were great and very clean. I would stay there again. The Inn is in a good area, close to food. The halls are nice and wide. The outside of the building is very nice and grand.

We brought our children here for the family day long weekend. Pool was closed! This was a heartbreaker for our kids. When we questioned the staff, all they could tell us was that it's written on the website. After looking, there is a fine print that mentions it'll be open again "mid Feb", well it's the 18th... still not open. Because the pool was closed, we had our kids entertaining them selves in our rooms. Well any noise they made above ambient resulted in front desk staff upstairs complaining. We wern't even that loud! I'm a BW rewards member as I stay with BW for business all the time. My Rewards status was not even recognized, nor was I offered an upgrade at check in, even though some were available. The lounge was closed during posted "open hours".

We stayed a weekend here and enjoyed our stay. The room was ready early (nice) and our check in super easy. We requested an upper quiet room and got it (facing the community). Clean, large and comfy. The beds were good and although the bathroom was small, it was redone and served us well. The really nice part was the breakfast that was included. Great selection and although one day a bus tour was having breakfast, the staff kept up with food and coffee. We were impressed. We met a person who has been staying here every time they visit for years and I can see why. We have stayed in Langley but this hotel is just right for visiting the lower mainland.

I stayed here 2 weeks while on business in the area. The area has lots of amenities and the rooms are very clean. The staff are lovely and easy to deal with. The only downfall was that the bed on the 1st week was a bit soft other wise, all was excellent

Stayed here when on a business trip. Got a fair price from Priceline. Staff was pleasant, rooms were clean, bed was newer and comfortable, room was great for a three star. The breakfast was surprisingly good with the eggs and cheese actually tasting like eggs and cheese, the mini/personal size bottles of tobasco sausa were a nice touch

Check in was not a pleasant experience. Our room , for three days,The cleaning service was located adjacent to the hotel laundry area, very noisy. The room cleaning service was poor. We will not be back.

This was our third time staying here, and we keep coming back for the pool, well appointed rooms, the restaurant and breakfast. The staff is generally helpful, but we did find a large amount of ants in our room. I was offered the vacuum, and I vacuumed them up myself. Room was otherwise clean. Two out of three times we've been here, there has been a team of teenagers along with their families. Starts out fine, but they quickly overran the pool, the lobby and the upstairs foyer. The parents just want adult time, so head off to an area or room to have drinks, and the kids go mostly unsupervised - loudly playing in the pool and hanging out in the halls. All fine if you are apart of it, but hard when you and your kids would have liked to use the pool or just want to go to sleep.

This establishment provides clean comfortable accommodation. If you are tired, you will sleep well. The staff are professional and very friendly. The room rates can't be beat. Book early as the rooms sell out quickly.

When we called for reservations we were told that the person who handled them would return at 3PM. Why anybody at the front desk couldn't handle it is a mystery to me. The room was clean and spacious with a grand total of five hangers in the closet. On the plus side the other amenities are nice, with everything one needs to prepare a meal from scratch without having to leave the room. They have a computer and printer in he lobby, which is convenient. They also have free Wi Fi. The co-located restaurant offers a 10 percent discount to motel guests, which is always welcome, and they turn out a nice dinner. One thing that always wins my heart is a plain old complimentary newspaper. The breakfast buffet was totally average.

Recently stayed me on a trip to the coast. The front staff were extremely helpful and answered all of my questions. Was able to accommodate my dog as well. My only negative (which happens at a lot of hotels) is that the doors were thin and I could hear a lot of hallway noise. Also a well lit parking lot to keep your vehicle safe at night.

Stayed here recently for a soccer tourney. Rooms were clean and modern. Price was ok and included breakfast but the same things were served everyday. By day 3 it was a little disappointing. Overall a decent hotel and it has a whitespot restaurant attached where we had a good lunch one day

We stayed here for 4 nights. The location was excellent for our purposes. The room was very comfortable and had all the right amenities. We had a small bar fridge, coffee maker, plates and cutlery. Unfortunately the can opener was useless and so was the second one they gave us...spend some money on decent openers and you won't get ticked off customers... We had 2 queen size beds and the mattresses were excellent. One of the best sleeps we have even had in a Hotel. The room was clean but there was an empty beer can in the garbage. More than likely it stuck to the bag and the cleaner did not notice it. I pointed this out to the person on the front desk. So unfortunately you wonder what else is not clean. The breakfast was typical and the eggs and sausages were done differently each day so there was a good variety. The only negative was the coffee. The coffee machine in the room had better coffee. The liquor store is just across the street as well as a decent grocery store. Overall the negatives were very minor. We would gladly stay there again and would highly recommend it.

I was in Vancouver for 4 nights and stayed at this hotel and was very happy with it. It was very clean. Comfortable beds. Large rooms. Fully furnished kitchenette. What I didn't like was the breakfast which was only eggs cooked the same way everyday and unfriendly staff in the restaurant. Housekeeping need to be supervised because sometimes they don't clean bathrooms and replace toiletries.

Beds mattress was totally worn out had a huge sag in it when you slept.The breakfast was very disappointing every product was of low quality. Will not be returning any time soon. Good location if they quit being cheap.

This was the perfect stop....we were able to just drive a few blocks to get the car staged on Fraser Highway. The only negative was it was a little noisy with the guests.....maybe more sound proofing would have helped. Otherwise the White Spot was great....

Our family has stayed in this hotel several times over the years. Each time we have found the hotel to be cleaned well, updated; with friendly service and a good breakfast. Nice that it has a small pool and hot tub and very close to restaurants and other stores.

This was our first time at the Country Meadows Inn. Glad we found it.Convient location just off the highway. Comfortable rooms and a good breakfast selection.Great resturant connected to the Inn. Courteous and efficient staff.

Went here on a mini honeymoon. We got the room with the jacuzzi tub. Loved it. Walking distance to a grocery store and a few different restaurants. We didn't try the breakfast though. The staff were very polite.

we visited for 2 nights along with about 25 young soccer players and attendant adults,check in was efficient and our room was spacious and clean and comfortable good tv and ample supplies,although being british we ran out of tea bags,but were able to replenish,the pool although not huge was in a very clean condition and a huge success,Breakfast was ample and plenty of choice,but with so many hungry youngsters refilling supplies was a little slow ,but not enough to complain about,all in all a pleasant visit for us

Only stayed one night, and it did not disappoint. The staff were super efficient when I made the reservation, upon check-in/out. Room was very clean, quiet, and it had comfy beds. We didn't use any of the amenities, as we were simply needing a place to sleep. I may have rated the 'Value' higher had we had the opportunity to use some of the facilities.

First I want to say my usual reviews do not pick apart the facilities unless they are super bad (only one place have I given that “honor”which happened to also be a Best Western), nor do I dig down to say anything about every dirty crack. Every place I review I try and make a fair judgement. What follows is what I experienced and because of interactions with one certain manager, I'm probably not unbiased. I didn't give this place a "terrible" rating because it is not the facilities that is terrible here but the management, how they handle disgruntled customers and/or owners for lack of maintenance. The Good: The location is near a US border crossing. Many restaurants and fast food within walking distance. Parking is easy and available. It was an easy and friendly check-in with most of the front desk clerks trying to help us during our 3 day stay. They have a very nice complementary breakfast. Rooms are clean. Beds are good. I saw nothing to give this place a "Plus" rating. I've stayed in other BW that were better by far with no "plus" rating. The Bad: Upon entering our room, it was hot and stuffy. My first thought is that the air conditioner was not working. There was one of the 2 chairs directly in front of the unit, the back of which was cool, so I moved it thinking it was blocking all the air flow. Upon review of the controls, I determined all functions were turned on. The thermostat was set to 60, it's lowest setting. I tried turning the fan from “Auto” to the high setting. No change. At this point we had not yet unpacked so I went to the front desk to see if I could change rooms. Front Desk Manager said there was not maintenance person. He could not give us another room because they were booked for the next 2 days. He would place a fan in the room. Ok, but what about our 3rd night? They can change your room that day. Ok, if that is the best you can do. We had no choice, so we moved in and thought if we leave it after changing some more settings, might cool things off and went to dinner. Room never cooled down until it got down to 47 degrees F outside in the morning. I couldn't leave the window open at night due to parking lot and road noise. We also were on the ground floor and it wouldn't be safe. Not much sleep until 1:00 am when the room temp finally started to go down. The second night, when we got back it was worse than ever, even though it was a much cooler day, only getting to a high of 67 degrees F outside. We needed to sleep, so we propped open the window, had 3 fans running and it did cool down about 11 pm. The Ugly: Went to the Front Desk Manager again to confirm that we could get another room with a working air conditioner. He wanted us to pack up all our stuff when we went sightseeing in the morning, then they would give us a new room when we got back in the afternoon. My husband and I didn't want to pack everything back into the car, that was why we were staying a third night. The manager then told us that the maids could move our stuff, if it was packed. What? I do not want strangers moving my things when we are gone! At this point, he tried telling us he thought the room was cool when he delivered the fans yesterday. What? You think 75+ degrees F is cool. What about the air conditioner that is set to 60 degree, I lost my cool alright. This wasn't our fault. It is your faulty equipment. My husband talked him into coming into the room and he had the Gaul to say it was cool. We had the window open! He then admitted he couldn't really feel temperature changes. Finally he conceded to let us leave our stuff in the room until we returned to transfer to a new room. Mind you, we never asked for a refund or cancelled our 3 rd night. In retrospect, we should have just left.

Why would anyone set a room temperature to 60 degrees F? It took almost an hour to get it back to room temperature. Also, there was a soccer team booked in the hotel at the same time. The children were running and yelling through the halls throughout the stay. Parents and hotel management did nothing to control the situation. Parents were busy drinking and making noise in individual suites. the kids (I assume) were making prank calls on the hotel phones. After reporting to the desk manager, I was informed that there was little that he could do and that the noise should be better during 'quiet' time, whenever the hell that was. I stay at the BW often when travelling and rarely have a poor experience. This hotel was the exception. New management is needed.

Very nice from the time I sped in the door to the hotel, the room clean and tidy, the bathroom sink had a small problem I told the front desk and before I knew it it was fixed and working well. The hotel in Aldergrove is not far from the American border ,so it's great for people traveling into the lower mainland

This Best Western is good value and a good location. As with all Best Westerns, there is a continental breakfast included. There is a White Spot next door and a shopping mall across the street. You can walk to the grocery store in the mall.

The hotel is up to the Best Western standard one comes to expect. The hotel's breakfast room is on the 2nd floor and was very close to our room. This was a problem as it was very noisy in the hall from about 7am on - so no sleeping late here.

Have stayed at this property many times. Can't say I felt most welcomed when checking in. The room I was assigned had been updated since I last stayed here. My room did face the parking lot and I did find it noisy. In the future I will request a room away from the parking lot. I thought the room was fairly clean until I found a volleyball knee pad on the floor under the bed skirt. I also felt that the toiletries provided were very low quality so bring your own. The breakfast was plenty with lots of variety and seating.

We decided to stay there cause the price was awesome and the rating was good. The inside was super clean and all new items. Even the paint and the carpet were different from the different wing. We had some car problems in the morning and the manager of the hotel helped us huge.

I specifically asked for and was given a standard room on the ground floor facing west. I expected to find patio door access but there was not so a traipse through the lobby was always necessary The place is truly a PLUS with a great hot and cold breakfast, renovated rooms, pool and hot tub/whirlpool. Counter staff were new but efficient and friendly Even the reno folks were helpful in showing the way to the ice machine and breakfast room A good quiet sleep in comfortable bed. Close to fast food and shopping as well as a restaurant attached

Check-in was easy, room was clean and met expectations. Noisy fridge and noisy air con in room though. Kudos to the breakfast attendant who took the time to show my young daughter all the food choices that were available to her. She even offered to pack up some muffins "to go" on our way out! Such exemplary thoughtfulness. The hotel is ideally located with enough parking and close proximity to the grocery store, gas station, Tim Hortons, and a Vietnamese restaurant (as well as attached White Spot next door). The only issue was that loud young people chose the back parking lot as a meeting place at 11pm and played music from their cars. Not the hotel's fault. We stayed for one night during the summer holidays.

Although the hotel was under renovations you would not know it. It is close to many places to eat and there is a small shopping center across the street. The included breakfast has a good selection of hot and cold selections.

Nice place to stay. Amenities close by to the hotel. It had a decent hotel breakfast. Rooms were clean. The customer service was very good. I would definitely stay here the next time I am in the Fraser valley.

Due to the ice storms in the Fraser Valley dozens of families were without power. They found shelter at B.W.. Meadow Gardens. Even their power was on/off/on trying to operate from their bank of generators. During these difficult conditions they were cheerful, helpful, as efficient as was possible and provided a safe, warm, haven.

Well it brighten our day once we stepped in the lobby and was greeted by such a warm welcome. The hotel is being redone all new and they are doing an incredible job. I have stayed many times. Large, quiet rooms with nice decor. Very clean hotel and the staff go over and above to ensure you have a pleasant stay. The food at the breakfast bar is very good. Always fresh and quality food. Very knowledgeable and professional staff. Well Located and very close to restaurants, bars, coffee shops, tourist attractions etc. I highly recommend staying at the BW Aldergrove Hotel. The staff and hotel will exceed your expectations.

Just a quick note the improvements are very impressive come and see them for yourself . I would recommend this property to everyone. They have added more to their already great breakfast they have added hot sauce bacon and many other things

We booked a room here on Expedia for our anniversary. Naturally, we wanted to get the best price we could, so we took the least expensive option. BAD Mistake! The next day (still a month away from our reservation time) we realized we had made a mistake on the reservation and wanted to make a change. We called the hotel, but were told that we could NOT change the reservation because it was made "OTA" through an online provider. So, we called Expedia, who sounded VERY accommodating, and even called the hotel on our behalf to try and sort things out, but the hotel was unwilling to cooperate since we had bought a "non-changable" room. We called the hotel again, and they once again said it COULD NOT BE CHANGED because we bought an unchanging room through Expedia. (essentially blaming Expedia for this) I even stated that I would be willing to pay the higher price directly to the hotel, but was told NO, they could not do it. I believe this must be a policy decision by the hotel... maybe the chain, BUT it is TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. We have stayed at this hotel in the past very happily, but I doubt we will be returning in the future after our apparently UNCHANGABLE visit. Bottom line: it's a nice enough hotel, but the management policies need some serious work. Some flexibility would go a long way towards a positive customer experience.

Yes, the presence of four youth hockey teams in a hotel is going to result in more noise than, let's say, a quilting convention. However, by the reaction of the staff, you'd think Van Halen had just trashed the place. They issued noise complaints to everyone including those of us who were just sitting in our rooms talking quietly. Included in the complaint was a threat to kick us out of the hotel while revoking our group discount and keeping our deposit. We were generally looked upon as a nuisance and an inconvenience. One morning we showed up at the breakfast buffet at 9:30, a full half hour before it shuts down, only to find it quite depleted. When we pointed this out to one of the workers and asked that the food be replenished, she replied with a sneer, “Okay, one more time and that's it.” And if the staff was sorely lacking in people skills, the residents of the hotel were far worse; threatening kids, calling them names and, on one occasion, grabbing one of the players and shaking him. Still, the staff seemed far more concerned with noise levels than with the fact that one of their residents had assaulted a child. Each of us has been involved in numerous hockey tournaments at hotels throughout the province and this is the first time anyone can recall being so poorly received by the staff. If there's one positive it's that the cleaning staff was very friendly. Perhaps they should be promoted to the front desk so that all guests will feel welcome. Until then, I would strongly recommend that you avoid this hotel if you are; part of a hockey tournament, traveling with children, or Van Halen

I was very pleased with my stay. I was only there for one night for leisure purposes.The decor and cleanliness were very good. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at this hotel again. Very friendly, helpful staff

The hotel advertised an extensive buffet with omelet station, which was untrue. No different than any other run of the mill 3 star. There were multiple hockey teams staying. Our team was one of them. If you are going to have 4 or more hockey teams staying at your hotel, I? would suggest informing your other guests at check in and placing them in rooms away from the sports teams. We were treated terribly by staff and accused of things they could not prove. Was appalling to say the least. Considering just our team alone spent over $8000 for the 3 nights. No including eating at the restaurant. Do not book your hockey team here.

Full time people live here. Went to check-in, resdient was staring at kids and then said to one in a mean tone "you better not make any noise or run the hallways tonight". He was dead serious. Throughout our stay he constantly complained of noise in the halls, pool, entryway etc. We got into an argument and he slammed his door. He grabbed one of the kids and shook him while his wife said "your bad". Staff told kids they couldn't walk in hallways, to go back to their rooms and go to bed. It was 8pm. WTF!! They shut down pool early first night cause resident complained of noise. His room is right above the pool. Why is his room above the pool, at the top of the stairs where everyone has to walk passed? Very terribly organized and most of the staff was rude and judgmental. NEVER STAY HERE!!!

I would liken our experience to that of an overnight stay in an elementary school gymnasium full of students with a bunch of fraternity members thrown in for ambiance. A stay at a homeless shelter might be more relaxing.

Checkin was quick. The room (king bed) was large, very clean, and had a convenient layout with all the normal conveniences (fridge, work desk, etc). I would certainly not characterize the motel as "dated, dingy, and dirty", as one reviewer recently did, as my room had clearly been recently renovated and was splotlessly clean. Perhaps not all the rooms have been renovated? My room was very nice. I can't comment on the breakfast as I met people elsewhere for breakfast. It's an interesting place for a motel as it is sort in the middle of a suburban 'nowhere', but it was convenient place for an overnight stay before meeting some people in the area and then heading into Vancouver for a cruise.

Our family stayed in a joint "pet-friendly" room with my parents on one side and our family of 4 on the other. The rooms were in excellent shape and the beds were super comfy! We only wished we could stay sleeping in longer to enjoy the beds but we had to be on our way. The staff all went above and beyond from the front desk to the cleaning ladies and the breakfast lady at the buffet. We would highly recommend this hotel. The only complaint was that they charge $10.00/night for our children that were 13 and 17 considering them extra "adults" in the room. We feel that they should be a part of the family considering them "children" until they turn 19 when society considers them "adults". Maybe this extra cost is to cover the breakfast in the morning but we hardly ate $10.00 each worth so ??. Having said that we would still highly recommend!

Check-in was professional and efficient. Room was simple but clean and large. Location isn't ideal unless you have a need to be in this specific area. Not sure of what makes this a BW 'Plus' property as everything was pretty basic.

I got married in Sept and in May I held 5 rooms with Best Western Aldergrove for my wedding party. In August I called to confirm my booking, the hotel told me they couldn't find the booking. So I thought I had made it at the wrong hotel. Just to be sure I called again the week before my wedding, along with another 5 hotels in the local area to find my booking. Hotel told me again there was not booking - so we went elsewhere. The day after my wedding - I got charged for the rooms with an email asking me how my stay was? When I spoke with the GM, Barry, he told me he would look into it. I spend him a screen shot of my call to the hotel, showing that I was following up. I never heard back from him. He didn't respond to my calls or my emails (oh except for the one when I let him know tripadvisor was asking me for a review and that I hadn't any from him.) I have worked in hospitality for 15 years so I was patient and calm and waited 6 weeks before calling head office. They gave him 7 days to look into it. Still no response. I had to follow up with management at their international branch who, of course, sided with the hotel telling me that despite proof (phone records) no one at the hotel had a record of me calling to follow up (how would they, they told me they didn't have my booking at put down the phone) and there was nothing they could do. Happy Wedding Day right??? Cost $2000 in the hole. I question the integrity of Barry the manager and of the management team at head office.

This BW location needs some serious renovation to be considered a PLUS location. It's dated, dirty and dingy like a run down old motel. The staff are rude and need to work on their people skills. We only stayed because it was a wedding group rate but I would have paid more to stay elsewhere in a heartbeat.

The room had kind of a sour smell, not sure if it had flooded or they were trying to cover smoke? Breakfast doesn't start until 7a.m. which is kind of late, but the day I was there it was opened early. Otherwise nice place with a pool. Pet friendly.

This hotel was amazing i was here for business and everything here was just top notch. The management team there must be running a tight ship i didn't see a single hair or speck of dust in my room. To top it off Breakfast was amazing one of THE best breakfasts iv'e had at a hotel.

Business in northern WA extended over the weekend, so I decided to check-out Canada. This property was fantastic! Clean room, plenty of power for my devices, and a restaurant could not be closer. Breakfast was substantial and well maintained. A day-trip drive to Vancouver was simple with easy access to a few routes. The real payoff was when I discovered the nearby greenbelt to walk. I loved this property!

Thank you for a delightfrul visit - My wife & I were celebrating my ?? birthday ... LOL, plus were had an event in walking distance, plus enjoyed a great meal at a local pub & eatery. All-in-all, we had a great time & can't wait for our venture to the BW Country Meadows Aldergrove. BC, Canada.

The entire experience at this Inn was first class and we would recommend it to all travellers. It is well worth the short distance from the Highway- Trans- Canada. From check in to check out was without fault and the Hot Breakfast was very good. Stay here if you are in this area.

We stayed here to attend a family wedding. Blake at front desk very pleasant helpful young man, lots of different services to meet the needs of different family members. Rooms were comfortable, beds were very comfortable. Clean and spacious. Attached to a White Spot for convenience of again different ages and meal needs. Breakfast included, had the nicest, largest and cleanest breakfast room we have seen in any BW. Numerous options and choices for families and gluten free options available. Good reasonable choice if you have to be in this area.

We had a pleasant stay and found this Hotel is close to shopping as well as downtown Aldergrove. Everything is within walking distance. The breakfast was okay and can always use improvement especially with not having bacon. We stayed 3 nights and found our room was always tidy. The Staff are pleasant and informative.

The business class rooms at this property are well thought out with lots of lights and extra plugs. Internet access was speedy and reliable. As a whole this is very nicely kept property with everything in working order and spotlessly clean

Front end staff extremely professional, courteous and accommodating. Bed very comfortable, WIFI fast and no drop outs. Typical BW type breakfast; all food hot, well presented and plentiful. White Spot restaurant attached.

Stayed here with my husband during our summer vacation. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Location is great, across from stores, restaurants and down a couple kilometres from the Us/Canada border crossing. Hotel room was clean with wonderfully cold air conditioning. Only complaint with the room was the bedside table drawer wouldn't shut no matter how many times I closed it. I caught a few scrapes from this so maybe a new one would be better. Pool was small but had plenty of towels. Breakfast was something to be desired with very few choices. I ended up only taking coffee(which was surprisingly good) and getting breakfast elsewhere.

Check in was smooth an simple... Got to our room dropped our things and left for the races in Mission... Did get back until after midnight... Went to go to bed and the mattress was so concaved that it was impossible to sleep two people in the bed...we did not phone down to front desk at this time... We were travelling with another couple and didn't want to change rooms in the middle of the night... To top it off the tour bus driver warmed his bus up for over 30minutes below our window at 5am... All while slamming his drivers door..there is a whole parking lot away from the rooms he could warm up his bus in. There was no need for this..I did complain to front desk about the tourbus and the bed problem Too bad we were looking for a regular hotel in Aldergrove/Langley area The room number was 205

I had the Jacuzzi booked for one night the room was nicely updated with a brand new jacuzzi tub and the front desk staff were great at describing all nearby places. The room was very clean as well I will definitely be back.

Each morning we woke to a very well set up breakfast with exceptional staff under the guidance of Marlene. It's a great way to start our day. The breakfast has a good variety to choose from and changes slightly each day. Marlene is very attentive and makes sure all is well taken care of.

We stayed at the hotel with a large group for a wedding. Approximately 30 separate rooms. We arrived back to the hotel around 12am and we're immediately confronted by the gentleman at the front desk telling us in a very condescending way to not make any noise. We were not loud or disruptive on our way into the hotel but the front desk staff assumed we were going to have a loud gathering in somebody's room. We weren't very impressed with being treated like that. After I got to the room I called down to the front desk to ask if I could grab a tooth brush and was told to come get one because he wasn't going to bring it up. Not really a big deal at all but again he didn't seem friendly or helpful. The room itself was nice and clean.

We came down on mini vacation and stay at this hotel. Everything is very clean and quiet. Not far from Vancouver and everything is really close by. The staff is very friendly and great. We will come back again to this hotel.

Our room was in a terrible location of the hotel so our review is reflected by that. Noise, comfort, price, it just wasn't as good as in past years. Even though we had made our reservation 4 months prior, we were given the room that maybe should have been saved for a last minute guest.

My wife and I spent two nights here, over a weekend, and thought it was decent. If you need to be in Aldergrove, or nearby, this is a great value option. Tucked in under one end of the hotel is a White Spot restaurant. You don't even need to go outside to get your food. Also, across the street is a grocery store, a BC Liquor store, a McDonalds, a Tim Horton's, a pizza shop, a sushi restaurant, a gas station, a coffee shop... everything you could possibly need is all within a very short walking distance. The hotel staff were very nice and friendly, and did their very best to be accommodating to our needs. There were 4 rooms near ours where the guests were attending a wedding and related functions. They were up late, and up early, and generally disruptive (not deliberately or obnoxiously so). The hotel staff did their best to encourage those guests to quiet down, and the second night they were quieter. It wasn't the hotel's fault, and I thought they handled the situation appropriately. The hotel had good Wi-Fi, and decent amenities. The exercise room has cardio equipment, but no weights. The breakfast offered is a little more extensive than some I've seen. It included hot items, such as eggs, sausage, and a waffle station. These are in addition to the typical cold cereal, toast and yogourt. The rooms were decently kept and the beds were comfortable. There is nothing opulent about this hotel, but "opulent" isn't what a BW+ is about. So I feel like this hotel meets expectations.

Do not assume that your booking being done by professional staff will be accurate. And prepare to take full responsibility for any errors with no semblance of an apology . Convienant location ,average price , rooms clean

This was a nice simple hotel situated close to several good family restaurants that you can easily walk to. Good value, clean rooms, a decent pool and hot tub area, and a free deluxe breakfast! The only negative thing we could say is that our room had an odd odor in it. Possibly due to the large air conditioner unit for the hotel's lobby, located just outside of our room's window. There was a stagnant pool of green water beneath it. We almost considered requesting another room but didn't. Other than that, a good valued hotel with nice amenities.

The visit and stay was pleasant. The room was just what we needed as a place to sleep & rest whilst visiting family. The pool was nicely heated and just the right size for family with kids. No complaints.

Absolutely amazing. Staff went above and beyond to help accommodate my family. Shopping is close by if needed. A very warm and comforting hotel. All the staff wear a big smile and are ready to help with questions at any time. Not to forget the kids had a blast in the pool. Thanks again to everyone at BW for going above and beyond for my family.

I spend 3 night here. I had a wonderful stay. From check-in to checkout all was fine. Room was very large. AC kept up well. Bed was comfortable. HD TV and Internet was stable and fast. Realy nothing negative at all.

We stayed for two nights at the beginning of July. The room was clean, comfortable, and suited our needs. The A/C was easy to use, and we were able to keep the room at a nice comfortable temperature. The Front Desk staff were very friendly and polite. The swimming pool was fun for the kids. The only downside was that the hot tub was not working properly. The water was hot, but the jets did not work. The breakfast served was good and had lots of selections. We were not expecting eggs, sausages and waffles, but appreciated it! The hotel is 5 minutes from the zoo and has several restaurants and even a grocery store nearby. We will stay again!

I stayed at the Best Western for two nights, and on the second night found a bed bug crawling out of the headboard. I reported it to front desk and gave them the bug, still alive, in a ziplock bag. They proceeded to make speculations/accusations about how it might have been me and my family that brought it there. My family and I are sure that we did not carry the bed bugs there - we had just gotten off a plane, and that was the first hotel we had stayed at. But above all, there was no sense of some kind of protocol kicking in. The hotel responded with complete negligence. We weren't given instructions about how to handle the situation, no reassurance - we expected to be given guidelines about what steps to follow, what to expect, maybe some access to their laundry facilities, etc. We were there on a package tour - I suspect they thought that once we left their hotel, we would be bound for a different country, and it was in their best interest to ignore our problem. We were given the roundabout: told the "Manager" wasn't in. So we left our number, we were not contacted until a week later (and only after hinting at legal recourse). It was altogether an unprofessional and very sour experience - it ruined our trip, and we had to throw out all our luggage and hundreds of dollars worth of clothes. No compensation, no apology, no reassurance, no guidance about how to handle the situation. They responded largely by ignoring us, and hoping we'd go away. The bites were many and terrible. But, the bugs were just bugs - they were doing what they were doing. And these things happen. It was not even the bedbugs that was the most disappointing about this experience, but the terrible way in which we were treated by Best Western.

Thoroughly check hotel before booking. Confirmation does not show cancellation policy and we were charged 14 days in advance for the room and once you arrive there is no cancelling. I have tried for five days to talk to manager and have never received a call back and he is never available. Hallway carpeting is full of stains and disgusting. Free breakfast is horrible. Some furniture in room torn and very worn. Other than manager staff is nice. I don't understand how hotel could receive anything above two stars. Beware

All staff (10/10) front desk, cleaning and kitchen were very polite, well presented, friendly and helpful. On the other hand the hot breakfast was not hot, some was very cold, very little variety (4/10)

Service at this hotel is alway exceptional. The location is great for travelling around the lower mainland and into the United States of America. Excellent value! It is my go to hotel whenever in British Columbia.

I had to find another hotel for the weekend and my experience was no where near the wonderful experience I had with country meadows. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and answered any of my questions

Not sure how this place received 4 stars. You can literally hear the people in the room above you talking, going to the bathroom and it sounds like they will come through the ceiling when they walk. Don't expect a good night sleep. The lock on the door is broken, the phone doesn't work, the carpet is really dirty like it wasn't even vacuumed. One of the outlets is a fire hazard, you have to wiggle the plugs to get the light to come on. The white towels have someone's hair on them. This is the first hotel I've been in that doesn't have a safe, or do not disturb hangers for the doors. I would never consider staying here again, especially for $160 a night! Extremely disappointed and frustrated, such a waste of money. I rather pay $200-300 for a much better hotel. This is more of a motel standard.

Friendly, speedy service upon arrival and departure. Quiet, clean comfort with all amenities. Complete hot breakfast with friendly, helpful attendant who saw to every need. Can't say enough about this fine, fine establishment.

This location is just a few minutes from the border crossing at Lynden. have stayed here many times over the last years. It has a White Spot restaurant attached so no leaving to look for food after traveling all day. Breakfast choices good. Stay helpful.

Check in clerk wanted us to wait 2 hours to get our room, didn't even check if it was ready, the manager stepped in and found our room was ready, had to fight with the clerk to give us a room The clerk then purposely scheduled our taxi late while she knew we where going to a wedding Power tripper, she has no business being in the customer service industry

Hotel Room was good but need to check light bulbs in room. Should check under bed. But other wise great location and easy access and quiet Hotel. Would recommend to my friends and family and will go back.

Attending a dog event and this BW had "dog friendly" rooms. Also, located close to major transportation arteries, shopping/services. Place was clean and "kept up". Room was on ground floor so access convenient for getting dogs in and out. Checked out a day early but past official check out time so no refund. I was okay with that but noted that I was also charged the $30 pet fee. Queried the fairness of this via email but no one ever responded

I'll be honest, we were here for one reason, and one reason alone - in-room jacuzzi tub. We wanted to relax, and that was the best way we could think of doing it. Room is standard, but well kept. They are doing construction, so the hallways and lobby were messy/used for storage of materials. No issue with construction noise. They have a White Spot attached, which is nice, but I can't say that it was the best white spot experience. Not holding that against the hotel. Room was exactly what we expected, and we walked out of there happy and relaxed. Would stay again.

We only stayed one night but accommodations were excellent and the staff was very helpful. The kitchen manager was well organized and everything was ready when we wanted breakfast at 6:30 a.m. We would stay here again. The front desk people were friendly and efficient.

We stopped with a large group for the last day of our 9 day run. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. They went over and above in roping off special parking for the group. Continental breakfast was very good. Would stay here again.

We stated 2 nights to attend reunion then returned to spend another. Staff makes this hotel outstanding. When we were checking out one of the cleaning staff brought down a bag we had forgotten. The young gentleman that checked us in was very warm and friendly. Room was very comfortable and free wifi excellent. Darlene in the breakfast room was very friendly and efficient, she keep everything filled and the room was spotless.

It is an okay hotel for an overnight stay prior to heading to the Abbotsford Airport. Very good White spot restaurant attached. Like the location better due to just a walk across the street to a couple of stores. Employees nice and informed that the pool area will be renovated soon!

Within walking distance of small mall but off the main highways in the country. Very clean, concise and comfortable. Price very reasonable especially with decent breakfast included. Adequate parking. Indoor pool.

I honestly don't understand how there could be a bad review about this hotel. The finishings are nice, rooms are clean, it's in a great location (short drive to the zoo, shopping) and the staff is so friendly. If that isn't enough, there is a pool, hot tub and fitness centre! Oh and tomorrow we get free breakfast. All for less than $120 a night? Its kind of unheard of where we are from... People really need to focus more on the positives in life and stop being so picky. Looking for perfection? Go spend $300 a night elsewhere. I will gladly swoop up the value here that you choose to leave behind!

This was a nice hotel good service and really great location! The rooms were nice and it was really nice to have the "kitchenette" in the room. There was many sports teams staying and they did very well with all the kids.

Housekeeping woke us up. Had they checked with management first, they would have known we were checking out that day, and left us alone in the morning. There were no blankets for the pull-out, so we had to go ask for some. The room I booked online (2 Queen beds) and the room I got (a Queen and a pull-out) were not the same, but the hotel was full so they couldn't give me what I paid for, and couldn't adjust the price because it was an online booking. BW has been in business for a long time, long enough to have ironed out issues like these in North America in the 21st century.

Terrific service and cleanliness. Marlene in the breakfast room went above and beyond with opening the breakfast room early to accommodate our volleyball teams. She even arrived earlier to ensure hot food was available for our players! Will definitely stay again! Thanks Marlene!

there was a water leakage problem in the ceiling in the bathroom from occupants in room above who don't use shower curtains. Towels were given to soak up the water on the floor but the dripping kept us awake for a couple hours.

Always stay here, always fantastic. Breakfast is awesome. Quiet rooms. Attentive staff. Will use everytime we visit this area. Area has everything needed for a short or lengthly stay. Whitespot was awesome twice!

Really enjoyed my stay, the Jacuzzi tub in the room really nice, the front desk stafff were very helpful and the room was very clean. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. I wasent at the hotel to enjoy all the amenities but I will be back and hopefully have more time.

Don't plan on an early check-in at this hotel. When they say check-in at 1600hrs they mean it. Several guests had to wait for rooms to be cleaned before being accommodated. Check-in staff tried to accelerate the admission process but the morning staff was unapologetic and would not give a reason why this was the case just saying they did not have to accept check-ins until 1600hrs

Would recommend this Motel to anyone. Have stayed often and always receive excellent service from the Front Desk to Cleaning staff. Adjoining restaurant is great. Pool is well maintained as well as Fitness room. Elevator to upper rooms is appreciated. We are always treated like family!!

Clean rooms, family friendly hotel. The breakfast was a great addition. This hotel is a little out of the way but the staff were excellent and very helpful. The pool and fitness centre are clean and fairly new and well upkept.

The location was perfect for me. The breakfast was a great selection of hot and cold items! No shortage of items (cereal, waffles, oatmeal, yogurt, toast, bagels, drinks, eggs, hash browns and more). The pool was nice and warm!

We stayed one night with our grandchildren and all enjoyed our stay. Management was exceedingly friendly and helpful. The room was modest but clean, and had all necessary conveniences. The cleaning staff were friendly and front desk were helpful with answering questions about wifi. The pool and hot tub were excellent. Best of all, the complementary breakfast was tasty, and had more than enough selection. Good value for money and a great little getaway for spring break. Highly recommend this hotel.

Nice clean, friendly, quiet spot. Breakfast good but processed. Adjacent White Spot convenient with access from inside building. Central location with easy access to Fraser Highway and USA border.. would definitely visit again.

We went with a large group of children attending a sports function. The hotel staff are friendly, helpful, courteous. Beds are comfortable, clean smelling linens. The pool and hot tub are well maintained. A White Spot restaurant is attached to the hotel. There is a breakfast room with an extensive offering of food both hot and cold included in the price. Across the street are other places to eat. Wifi worked well in the room but if not, there are 2 computers and a printer available in the lobby for guest use. The only negative from our point of view is the drive way - it is not bus friendly.

Quiet hotel, great rate and came with a hot breakfast. Check in was easy and staff were very friendly and welcoming. Wi-Fi was not great in the evening, but worked well first thing in the morning. Will stay here again on my next trip through the lower mainland.

We stayed in August while visiting Vancouver hotel is comfortable and clean but staff is not helpful ,we were 3 adults and 4 kids,we had 2 rooms. Receptionist was quite serious as we were uninvited. We payed for our stay quite a head, when we reached we give our credit card for deposit. Later on we reached home I checked my credit card it was charged $98. I called hotel they didn't know anything about charge.They said we have not charged you anything ,I gave them confirmation number what my bank gave me, the lady who claimed that she is the manager, told me get back to me. Now it's Nov no called from them,I disputed that charge with my bank. But I was not expecting this kind of response from a big hotel.

This is a Best Western in a good location. We picked it as it's near the Bates Motel site(a must see). Great rooms,beds and lovely staff. The restaurant White spot next door is great too. Only negative, there was no safe in the room.

This place was a great deal on the website and has really great location close to the Zoo and various other restaurants/shopping. However I was not happy with the over all cleanliness of this hotel. The pool and hot tub have poor up keep and the emergency phone is disconnected. Lots of hair in the sinks and out of order bathrooms. This place was just barley good enough. Something tells me the parking lot has a lot of break ins too though nothing happened on our trip.

This hotel is a wonderful place to stay. It is clean and the staff are caring. The breakfast is substantial and there is a White Spot Restaurant attached that has very good food at affordable price. Beds are comfortable. There is a pool and fitness room but we did not use those facilities. Second time we have stayed here.

Staff were professional, courteous and helpful. Pc and printer at the lobby very convenient especially for printing groupons and boarding passes. Hot breakfast is very good. Not so happy going back a few times to have our room cards reprogrammed.

We stay here every year.. Brenda and has become like part of our family as we see her so often. They always accommodate our large family through our entire stay. Having the restaurant on site is also a plus. The breakfast at 6am is also great as we start our mornings early. Highly recommended especially with a large group/family! Kids love the pool area! Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was nice, and clean. The hotel is located near lots of restaurants and stores.The pool and hot tub were in good order. Our only complaint was the bed. It was too firm for us.

Only 2 nights, but found this property to be fairly new, staff were very good, rooms quite spacious and in excellent condition. Daily breakfast was great with large selection of continental and hot choices. Pool was just OK, hot tub was lukewarm, and that would be my only negative comment. White Spot restaurant next door is handy.

Great location only minutes from the border. Good swimming pool. Full Breakfast is offered at 6 AM which is earlier than other hotels in this group. Lastly, this location is super quiet and the beds are very comfortable so you will have a great sleep.

Very clean and quiet. Staff were very polite and available to help whenever needed. Kids enjoyed the pool and breakfast was hot a fresh for your standard hotel continental breakfast. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything was seamless at this hotel. Check in was very quick, no waiting in lines. Breakfast was complimentary and for a complimentary breakfast it was good. One night we ordered from the restaurant on site and they do not deliver to your room but will call your room when your food was ready. This was very convenient to us. The swimming pool was clean and nice to swim in with the kids. Check out was easy. Again no waiting in lines.

Hotel room was beautiful, clean and beds were super comfortable. Lobby was nice and staff were kind and helpful. Free complimentary breakfast in the morning. Hotel was quiet and cheap for what you get.

We were stuck. We left the hotel we booked 2 months in advance because it was a terrible hotel. At dinner, we had to choose a overnight stay on Saturday night. The hotels on the APP was disappearing as we were contemplating how far we needed to go and how much we wanted to spend. In the end, we grabbed a room for $300+ at the Country Meadows Inn - it's got a 4.5 rating on TA...has to be great...right? Check in was complicated. The staff member was swearing under his breath and sweating profusely as he did not know how to create keys and check us into a room. After a late night call to the hotel manager, the staff got us in. The Inn had a motel feel and the room was old. Not country like ... just dated. Nonetheless, it was a room that we can sleep in and it was fine for the night. Breakfast was included and the kids enjoyed the standard fare that seems to be offered at most hotels these days. The carb rich breads, cupcakes, cereal, waffles, and mountains of sausage. I spent part of the night trying to book the next night's accommodations and the internet connection was spotty at times. I don't think I will end up in this part of town but the drive back was nice.

Hotel was very clean and had all amenities that we required as a family. The beds were comfortable and the front desk staff was very accommodating. Our family loved the morning breakfasts, and the pool & hot tub! There were also many stores and restaurants nearby. We will definitely stay again and certainly recommend this hotel!

the hotel itself was very nice but they were understaffed and less than helpful when issues arose. We went to the airshow and upon our return our room had not been serviced. The beds were unmade, we did not have any fresh towels, the garbage was overflowing and there was a flood on the bathroom floor. We called the front desk three times but nobody answered. I went down in person to ask for assistance. The front desk person said sorry I will get you some extra towels, you can leave some behind the toilet where the water appears to be coming from. An hour later we still did not have any clean towels so I had to go down to the front desk again, he had forgotten about us. I got some towels and let him know the pool had not clean towels either as that is where we had been while waiting. Upon checking out I was not offered anything for my troubles and was just told sorry here is your bill. This is not good customer service in my opinion.

We were travelling from Charlotte, NC USA to Vancouver, BC via Seattle. We made our border crossing close to 11pm and arrived easily in Aldergrove at the Best Western. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. We had two rooms for our family of two adults and five children. Included breakfast was a huge help to our pocketbook. Hotel was very nice and would recommend.

We booked the 2 bedroom suite and it was large enough for my whole family with 3 kids. 2 Nice private rooms and also there is kitchen for us to make some simple cooking. Ver impressed. All of my family loves this inn without any complaints! If we go to Aldergrove again, this inn must be the only one we pick!

Just came home from a night stay at this hotel. We were in Canada for a friends wedding so we needed a place to get dressed and sleep, we weren't looking for anything to fancy so I found Best western online. Checking in yesterday we were pleasantly surprised at how cute this hotel was. We checked in at around 3:30 and the gentleman at the front desk was super quick and friendly. We checked in and so did 2 of my husbands brother and he was able to check us all super quickly. We went up to our rooms and they were nice and clean and ready for us. The bathroom area was a little small but I can't complain to much because the room was a decent size. My brother in law and us had a king room which includes a sleeper sofa and my other brother in law had 2 queens which was also a nice room. They also provided playpens for my nephews to sleep in so we didn't have to lug them from home. We all got dressed and left for the wedding and when we got back the front desk person remembered we went to a wedding and asked us how it was which I thought was very considerate. The bed was one of the best mattresses I have ever slept on. I usually don't like hotel beds but here I had the best night sleep. We ate breakfast this morning there which is included in the room price. There was a decent spread with eggs, sausage, and potatoes. There was also a waffle station and some yogurt and muffins and things. We will for sure stay there again if we are in that area. The biggest bonus was how close they are to the Lynden border so it was a short drive for us.

Close to Abbotsford airport. Easy to get to. Quiet, away from the city. Close to Vancouver, U.S border crossings and Whiterock. A great location to save money instead of higher prices in the downtown Vancouver area. Fruitg stands and municipal parks close by.

Ok so we didn't actually stay here as they were fully booked...as were all of the hotels nearby. We were travelling with two children and had been searching for hours when the young man working at the front desk offered to help. He was very busy with his phone ringing off the hook, and yet he took the time to place at least ten phone calls in order to find us a nearby room. He then looked it up online to show me photos and even printed me off directions to the other hotel. This guy definitely went above and beyond in order to help out this stressed out mom!

We stayed twice this year already. First for only one night in June then again in July for 4 nights. Both times the rooms were clean and comfortable. The air conditioner was very helpful. We were very happy with the room, free breakfast and friendly staff. We thought it might be noisy as it's close to a busy road but we were pleased the windows blocked the traffic noise. We traveled to Alder Grove for a wedding so the bride had arranged a good deal for the wedding guest. I thought we got very good nightly rate. We would stay again!

Pleasantly surprised at quality and value. Beds were excellent. Room was spacious. Staff especially good. Wish that strong smelling cleaning product (especially in hallways) was not used. As one of many who are sensitive to perfumes, hotel needs to change to no-odor cleaning products.

We had a pleasant experience here as the hotel gave the impression of being either fairly new or recently renovated. Our room's AC unit was actually fairly quiet (an unusual experience from other hotel stays), and the adjoining White Spot restaurant was convenient. The complimentary continental breakfast, as in other Best Westerns, is more than adequate, and the staff was quite friendly and helpful. The area is expanding in population and shopping centres, and close to Vancouver and the US border.

I chose because of convenience and availability, but was happy with the choice. Only wish the breakfast room was open early like 6 AM like most other Best Westerns? Whats good having free breakfast if it's more of a brunch.

From the time I arrived until the time we checked out I do not have a negative word to say about the staff and amenities at this hotel. This Hotel is strategically located within walking distance of restaurants, groceries, liquor stores and a pharmacy.

Cleanish (hair in the bed and in the tub and sink), dirty carpet in rooms and biggest complaint was an AC unit that while turned on full blast (lowest temp and highest fan) the air just trickled out - aka it didn't work. Called guest services and they wouldn't move us as they're fully booked for the night (it's 4pm local time - so this means they don't WANT to move us to another room and put someone else in here later). Guest services said they'd come up and fix it (lol). Came up, looked at the controls (touched nothing) and said well sorry this is the best we've got. I asked if we could have a fan to at least circulate air and got a 'sorry you'll just have to wait for it to cool down (?), we don't have fans'...punctuated with a shoulder shrug and an exit. Not even trying to make the guest happy and satisfied with doing nothing to remedy the problem. I guess this is what you get when you book with credit card reward points. Plenty of hotels in the area and tbh you could do much better for a very similar price.

My wife and I have stayed here in the past, and had better experiences. We expected much better. THE GOOD: The room was very clean, Housekeeping staff were excellent, and the beds were pretty comfortable. THE BAD: Paper-thin walls and ceiling, and a very noisy and active Korean tour group in the room directly above us made for some... problems. Problems which got little more than wishy-washy excuses and hand-wringing from the front desk staff. The problem didn't get dealt with, effectively, until the LAST night of our stay by a staff member who actually DID care enough to draw the proverbial line in the sand for the offenders (thanks, Peter, you deserve a medal!) As if that wasn't bad enough, the wireless Internet service was a joke. Glacially slow, completely inadequate for any kind of serious work or streaming. I've gotten better response out of a 28.8k dialup link! Couple this with the fact our room lacked even a basic work desk (I had to make do with a tiny end table for my laptop). THE UGLY: Best Westerns usually serve up a breakfast buffet which is at least marginally edible. Not this one! The fare, with the exception of the prepackaged items such as the bagels and yogurt, had us going for the anti-nausea meds soon afterward. We're not coming back to this location. Heck, we might give up on Best Westerns in Canada, completely, if this place was any indication.

We needed a place close to the US border, as we had business and appointments in Bellingham, Washington the next day. The room was clean and well-appointed. However, Room 234 is 2 doors from the breakfast room (235 is immediately next to the breakfast room). The room was quiet at night, as it looked out over a dead-end residential street, but we woke up to the sounds and smells of food preparation. The included breakfast didn't include much for us; too many sweet starchy foods and no whole grains. One of the servers seemed unhappy to be there, banging pans and trays around. We might have been better off going to the White Spot on site. We didn't use the pool or exercise equipment. This property fit the bill for location and convenience, though, at a decent price.

I stay here at least once a year in conjunction with a special event at the park. I always enjoy the room as they have upgraded the decor and the beds are super comfortable. It is close to so many things in town so it is my usual go to location. My only concern is that I would love if they were to refine some of their policies to be more up front. They are a pet friendly location and I am fine with paying a fee but they did alter my original reservation and then included the pet fee in with the base rate. I do not like this practice and did not seem to have much success relaying that to the check in clerk. Because this facility has been so good to me, I will pursue further dialogue with management after the holidays so that I can follow through with my concerns. The breakfast was very expansive and we were able to sit with friends and enjoy a nice chat in the morning before check out. All in all a good hotel that just needs to revisit some customer service basics so that people dont feel mislead. I do not like being told "the owner wants it this way so that is what we do" - my guess is that the owner would like me to fill the bottom floor of this hotel with all my friends the way I did this year???? I am confident we can address this to make it a great experience.

Stayed here overnight on our way to Whistler. Lovely, clean, well appointed, spacious room. Aldergrove village centre was within walking distance (about a 20 min walk), so we wandered down to have a look round and grab a meal. But there is a small mall right across the road if you don't like walking, and a White Spot restaurant next door to the hotel (which offers discounts to hotel guests). The front desk staff were pleasant, and the included breakfast was more than adequate. I would recommend this hotel to anybody, and we will most definitely stay there again.

Hotel good, booking terrible. Booking and info on smart phone site not the same prices in CDN not Us. Complained to booking clerk who disregarded my questions and told me to check my confirmation. I did. It was nearly $100 US. Hardly $70 CDN. When adding exchange , the price nearly doubled. NEVER AGAIN> Will book direct to Best Western or not at all.

This is a great hotel just over the border and close to the Thunderbird Horse Show Park. It is quiet, comfortable and is next door to a nice White Spot restaurant and Bar. There is a grocery store across the street and many other attractions nearby,

We stayed at this hotel on May 31,2016. Staff was all great, beautiful clean room and White Spot was excellent. Great location to everything.......only had to run across the street to a drug store. Morning coffee and goodies were excellent........if in area again will be back for sure:)

Good service, caring staff, great breakfast options, clean, not far away from the border crossing, easy access to grocery stores and shopping areas. A bit dated, not always easy to get to the entrance at night. Overall, enjoyed the stay.

mmmmhhhhmmmm....clean crisp sheets on a comfy bed with perfect quiet away from the busyness of home...does it get any better? oh wait..it does because staff like Barry, Brenda and Marlene make everything just perfect!! Thank you Country Meadows for taking such great care of me while I work away from home!!

From the moment we checked in with a very friendly and courteous front clerk we were impressed . Quiet location, very clean rooms , close to shopping, pub and restaurants. The only suggestion I would say when booking is ask for a second floor room.

Three days of much needed rest and relaxation. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff always go above and beyond (Thank you Brenda). Always take advantage of the hot tub. There are lots of restaurants close by and it is easy to access from the freeway.

Large clean room, very friendly and acommodating front desk staff helped me get a ground floor room as a touring cyclist. Large fridge in room. Good restaurant on site, and many choices nearby. Beer store across the street. Breakfast selection good.tub and shower in room, hot-tub on site.

I had an excellent stay at BW COUNTRY MEADOWS INN, after the BW Regency Inn & Conference Centre in Abbotsford would not allow me to check-in because I had forgotten my credit card at home. I spoke to the Manager at BW Regency Inn & Conference Centre and told her I was a long time BW client (40 years), and had reserved the room with Best Western rewards points, and was willing to put down as much cash deposit as she wanted, BUT The MANAGER told me I had to have a credit card for incidentals and could not check-in without one???? Needless to say I WAS NOT HAPPY!! So if you want to stay in the area, I would recommend the BW Plus COUNTRY MEADOWS INN.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable.....a very comfy bed! The breakfast was excellent with ample choice....very good value. Definitely a good find. We were there with a large group and everyone enjoyed the friendly service.

We chose this hotel as it was closest to wedding venue, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable, very modern and new feeling. Breakfast adequate, good variety, good coffee. I would recommend this hotel anytime.

Great pick to stay in Aldergrove Best Western Plus. Affordable. Easy access to anywhere. We were there mid week and it was relaxing and quiet. The staff were tremendous. Thank you to Marlene for seeking me out to return my cap I left in the breakfast room. Speaking of breakfast room, it was very good with my choice of a hot or cold breakfast or both. I enjoyed my stay and will suggest this location especially if White Rock or the Zoo are on your destination list.

We were very happy with our recent stay in the quiet corner king jacuzzi suite. This location is very central to many area attractions. Jasmine at the front desk was professional, friendly, efficient and very welcoming. Our room was wonderful!! clean, quiet and cozy. The large jacuzzi tub was an added bonus. A great room for a romantic night. This location has a hot buffet breakfast and staff in the breakfast room work hard making sure everything is hot and well stocked. They have a nice pool, hot tub and gym all on site that was very well kept and relaxing. We will definitely be back, and tell our friends and families about this hidden gem. A big thank you to Maggie a manager that truly cares about her guests experiences.

Nice place to stay on vacation in BC. The room was clean, the beds are comfortable for a great nights sleep too! The staff very friendly always greeting you coming or going! Would stay here again on vacation travels in BC!

From beginning to end our first stay at this hotel was an enjoyable experience. The greeting was friendly and the staff consistently helpful and committed to seeking our return business. The room was spotless, the bed comfortable, and the housekeeping staff efficient. The hot breakfast buffet was significantly better than most, and the ladies running the breakfast room did a great job keeping a lot of guests well-fed in a clean facility. The adjoining White Spot restaurant is accessible without going outside and offers a 10% discount to hotel guests. All in all it was a great stay. My wife and I are happy guests -- and we'll be back. ??

On our trip to Langley we started looking late for a room over the Easter weekend. We couldn't find a hotel in Langley that had a kitchenette so we ended up in Aldergrove. It is on the Fraser highway and 5 minutes south of highway number 1. Rooms were clean and what you expect, morning breakfast was ok. On checkout my teen left behind his laptop charger, we found the address for the hotel and they put the charger on the Greyhound so I didn't have to live with a teen without the internet. It would have been much easier to say they had not found it but they followed through

pool was nice and warm, loved it. in the past it was warm, then it was cold on one stay...didn't like that as i do early morning lap swim .... would like to see the pool open at 6 - 7 am as 8 am is a little late in the morning to accommodate lap swim. I don't care for afternoon or evening swims as kids tend to be in the pool then. We like the fact that this hotel is dog friendly.

My husband and I wanted somewhere to stay for a romance night. We reserved a king room, after finding online called hotel to confirm price room and booked with front desk even though it was $10 more than online. We got there listened to front desk complain about a guest who couldn't work the Internet, then how busy she has been etc. I empathized and waited for me room key. We got to our room and it had two beds, I immediatley called front desk and said they must have made a mistake. She said no we have no king rooms, I said I specifically called for a king, I let her know I wasn't impressed and didn't want this room as its our anniversary. I then went online and was able to find aval king rooms listed I went down to front desk she said that someone peed in the last king be room and kind of looked at me like do u want that one? I was grossed out instead of a romance night we are angry, sitting here on a separate hard bed in an outdated room... Not at all impressed

We stayed at this hotel on the recommendation of our host in Canada. We all thought the beds were extremely comfortable and were very pleased with the breakfast and amenities. Clean and friendly hotel!

Very clean rooms beds are comfy to give you a great sleep. There is a place to eat as well great food think it's a white spot . The rooms are spacious and some have kitchens as ours did . Close to shopping and transit as well

The Tripadvisor Star Rating is either 3 Star (Average) OR 4 star (Very Good). I wish there was a Star option for "Good". The BW Country Meadows Inn in Aldergrove looks pretty good, but it did not deliver what we were hoping for. My husband liked the pool and hot tub, as well as the generous hot breakfast. We had earned a one-night "rewards" stay (free night) and were booked on the ground floor, in a pet-friendly room with a kitchen and 2 queen beds. The room was very dark and gloomy, probably because not much daylight could come in because the window faced a wall. No lighting in the kitchen at all. Very tiny and cramped bathroom (squeeze behind the door, then close it). No room to walk around the bed near the window. In the morning I noticed a large black stain on the carpet, which turned out to be a heap of crawling ants, hundreds of them! The front desk figured "somebody" had left out food and first offered to send in Housekeeping to "spray away" the problem. NO thank you, we did not want to breathe chemicals. We were then given a new room, on the second floor. No bugs there, but the same problem with one of the beds being pushed against the wall and very very tiny bathroom. We often stay at Best Western properties and I did not feel this was a PLUS property. Friendliness was average. We stayed a total of 3 nights, on business. In case the management attempts to downplay the ant-problem, I have taken pictures.

Standard room, 1 king bed, jetted tub on the ground floor. Check in was fast and all the staff acknowledges you with a friendly greeting or smile. Wireless internet is lighting fast. Room was spacious, extremely clean and modern. The jetted tub is the best and so very relaxing. Very quiet hotel with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was very good. There is a fantastic pub just around the corner, worth checking out. I would stay here again.

The staff is always friendly, rooms are spotless every time I stay here. Convenient location for my business needs in Langley. Good food in several directions., plus a restaurant right at the hotel as well. pool & hot tub clean too.

I've stayed at multiple hotels over the past few years for work and personal travel and this is by far the worst experience yet. The younger staff was rude, the older staff was friendly but slow in all aspects. The hotel advertises as pet friendly but half of the hotel cleaning staff, many of which don't speak English, was afraid of my 10 pound dog. The room was super dank and humid not to mention it reeked of pee. I don't think they ever cleaned the carpets. They probably just charged the previous guest a cleaning charge and then didn't actually clean the room. We got a noise complaint one night because our dog was barking and the staff got on to us, which I totally understand, but how about getting on to the guests across the hall from us that were slamming doors at 10PM at night causing our dog to bark. I'm not exaggerating. It's like they were cleaning out the entire room of furniture carpet and all - door slams every 10 minutes or so for over an hour. The free breakfast was nice in theory. As long as you don't eat anything that they actually make, you'll be fine. The eggs tasted like solid sodium and the sausage was dripping in oil. I mean, if that floats your boat, book a room today!

This motel has the best staff in all areas. Great Breakfast very clean rooms I have always been treated excellent right from the the first stay to the last. If you are ever looking for s great room in Aldergrove I suggest you give them a try.

When to come to the Best Western Country Meadows Inn in Aldergrove it like coming to visit family even it is your first time or you have stayed many times you are always warmly greeted like a long lost friend. The staff not only greets you warmly when you arrive they treat you like family during your entire stay.

Nice quit get away for business and not over priced like in the big city. Close to all hwy's. My girl friend and I were very happy with staff. So great places to eat close by also. Timmys close and shopping not far , short car ride and then to train to get into city quickly. Nice way to see everything.

The staff, the appearance and the comfort and cleanliness of this hotel is consistently great which is just what you need when working away from the comforts of home and family. Highly recommended for accessibility of location and the value is great for all of the above!

Staff was really friendly and I all amenities were nice. It is located in a great spot around lots of places to eat! I had misplaced my credit card at check in and the front desk manager was very helpful in discussing my options. I really appreciated that!

We came to enjoy the White Spot restaurant & did not stay at the motel. The layout of this restaurant which is sectioned different spaces works out well (adding some privacy) during your experience. The quality of the food is tasty and the staff were very helpful & friendly. Highly recommend that anyone staying at the hotel try this establishment. Nicely decorated for Christmas!

A nice, normally quiet hotel, with very pleasant staff. This was spoiled by dogs barking every morning I was there. Before booking this hotel again I will ask if it is being used as a kennel so that I can make alternate arrangements.

Love this place, I stay here whenever I am in the area. Always a pleasurable experience. Would recommend this hotel to any travelers wanting a quiet retreat for any reason. All amenities and a White Spot (MY ALL TIME FAVOURITE) to boot. Love It, Love It.

I am shocked to be writing this review. I stayed in this hotel with my family and my son's hockey team. Instead of placing our team together, we were separated throughout the hotel - and we booked early. All of the teams were separated. We requested a room closer to our team and Brenda from the front desk said there would be no accommodations or changes (we had early check-in on the first day of the tournament so it would have been EASY to move our room). We had an early game on Sunday morning. Our team was respectfully quiet with no sound before 10PM. Since the kids weren't near each other, they were running around the entire hotel finding their friends. Adults were partying until 3 AM - shouting so loud that we could hear everyword being said. After numerous calls and visits to the front desk from ourselves as well as 4 other parents from our team, the noise never stopped. THe next morning, the staff refused to allow us a late check out. Our son had the first game of the day and we did not have time to pack because we were all so exhausted from being awake all night long. My children could barely get out of bed. We then asked the receptionist to call her manager to see if we could check out late given the circumstances. The receptionist never called back. We called the front desk and the receptionist then told us that her manager had refused a late check out. It was Sunday morning at 7AM and they told us they could not help us. This was the WORST experience we have ever had staying with a hockey team and we have been traveling with Hockey for years. This hotel staff could care less about accommodating anyone. This environment was driven by a bad manager not interested in any form of human respect for a family who had had only a few hours of sleep because his staff could not control the rude guests.

This hotel is at major intersection. Fire trucks and road noise excessive. There was hockey team partying till 12.30. Staff could not get it under control and hotel manager was not willing to offer extended checkout to accommodate our family trying to sleep it off next morning. Our room was not located with our group and staff would not change. Disappointed. Also, what hotel doesn't offer bacon for breakfast buffet?

It was the perfect end to a nice day. Relaxing, the pool was excellent, the staff were personable and friendly. The breakfast room was well stocked, and the staff were helpful. Their is a White Spot Restaurant on the compound, so we went their for lunch before heading home. I will stay their again.

We had a pleasant quick stay and as we arrived late and left early. Hotel was easy to find and rooms were clean and nice. The check in staff was very pleasant and thoughtful. The room included a small fridge which was good for us. It was nice to have breakfast included with the room. All the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Stayed here a couple nights, found it very convenient for restaurants and shops, quite and clean. The hotel is a little dated but when we were there they were repainting and adding new linens. Staff was helpful and friendly.

I stayed here for 2 nights with my parents- they had booked the executive suite which was supposed to have 2 bedrooms and a kitchen- we ended up with 2 adjoining hotel rooms and one of the had a kitchenette- this actually was better since I ended up having my own bedroom and bathroom and we didn't make use of a kitchen anyway (other than the mini fridge and coffee maker). The hotel is very clean, although outdated, especially when it comes to the bathroom and draperies. My room smelled like smoke although there are no smoking signs in the room. The beds were comfortable and the room was plenty spacious. I happened to have one of the only rooms that didn't even look out on anything except for the roof and the entryway coveringso that was a little claustrophobic not being able to look out a window. The breakfast was nice and had an assortment of warm and cold options, including waffles, eggs and a meat each day. There is a Tim horton's right across the street as well as a grocery store and a few small places to eat. This is a clean place to stay for families.

This hotel was conveniently located in between Langley and Abbotsford. It is just a block from the main thoroughfare so it really wasn't out in a country meadow. The property appeared to be older, although well kept. Our room with 2 queens was of average size and featured a microwave/small refrigerator combo. The bathroom sink/vanity was separate from the toilet/shower area allowing for 2 people to be getting ready at the same time. The hotel does charge extra for a 3rd person in the room, even if that person is your own child when they are over 12 years of age. The breakfast options included waffles and fresh fruit. They also offered several meat and dairy options which we didn't prefer since we only eat vegan. They didn't provide any peanut butter for the toast or waffles.

We loved this hotel at first, stayed here before. We booked a kitchenette this time and another room for my family. Breakfast was great, front desk personnel wonderful, but the second night was the problem. If you book on another sight other than Bestwestern and there is a problem well your out of luck! They will not compensate or give money back or discount or even care. Matter of fact they will move you to a lower class room. Expect that will be okay. That's that nice store manager talking

I stayed here for a wedding I was attending. I was honestly surprised at how cute this hotel was. I have paid a lot more for a hotel room, and got less amenities than I did here. I will comment however, that my bed was a little bit harder than I like. Nonetheless, I still had a decent sleep as it was very quiet outside. The night Front Desk Attendant also suggested a local pizza place which was awesome! Much appreciated.

This was an excellent place to stay and I will return. Everything we had indicated we were in the hands of people trained in understanding and executing customer service. The service here was better than some of the hotels I stayed at in the US. There was nothing negative.
