This hotel is well situated near the highway but without the noise. Great open layout and plenty of guest parking. Good restaurants on site as well. Their Fitness Centre is as good as any hotel I have stayed in. Our twin room had 2 queens size beds that felt like they were brand new. The room was well decorated, modern and clean. A real credit to their staff. The bathroom was up to a high standard in fittings used and toiletries provided. It's nice to have a good hot shower after a long day on the road. Check out was easy and fast. They were well staffed to cater for any rush of guests. We liked this place and would stay here again.
Our stay at the best western is always enjoyable … It has a Ricky's Restaurant where the food is good .. It is very easy to get too off the freeway...The staff was very helpful friendly and patient … The room was clean quiet and very big … A wonderful place to stay ...
Would definitely recommend this hotel. The newly renovated rooms were lovely. The new floors were fantastic. No more carpeting. Wonderful idea. Extremely clean, beds were comfortable and towels good. Breakfast included was very good. Lots of variety. The location to amenities and the freeway are excellent. The restaurant is a great bonus. Food was great. We will definitely stay again.
Older hotel . Be careful when booking. Half of motel gets noise directly from highway. We switched to a different room. If you stay in the main building you have to cross the parking lot to go for breakfast. Our second room had a Jacuzzi...but no regular tub..and the bed was Really soft (old?) It was Ok but next time I would look for ratings on other hotels first. With CAA discount plus taxed worked out to about $150 for the night.
From the moment we walked into the lobby to check in, until we checked out four days later, everything at this Best Western location was excellent. Staff was efficient, courteous and friendly. Cleanliness in both the common areas and our room was above par It was obvious throughout the hotel and grounds that the owner(s) work hard to keep all the buildings and equipment updated and in good repair. The breakfast (included with the price of the room) offered an array of both hot and cold items and was kept replenished by the staff. I have stayed at numerous Best Western locations throughout the world but this location unquestionably sets the Gold Standard for others to aspire to (including other chains).
I slept very well at this place. Located in a quiet corner, next to a school and few other estate. Easy access to highway, close to airport. I saw many flight crew check out in the morning. The second swimming pool is under repair so we have to go to next building to access pool. the pool is quite small like most of this type of accommodation. better useful for relaxing then exercising. receptionist was super friendly and fast. She offered free upgrade to family suite on arrival which is a happy surprise to me. They seem to do the job to make customer stay comfortable and safe. The lobby door is locked all the time. Use room card to get into the building. The breakfast was quite popular at this place. Many showed up to grab a light and healthy meal before heading out for the day. I saw patches of flight crew members in and out.
Stopped here for one night, room very clean, staff very helpful, quiet, comfortable bed, breakfast really good. Our whole point of staying was so kiddo could go swimming but very small and so chlorinated it hurt to be in the water so that's why rated a 3.
Our room had an awesome kitchenette, which was great for making tea and snacks for my son. The pool was very clean and quite large for a hotel pool. The breakfast was hot and fresh and served from 7-10am, so we had lots of time to grab food before we got back on the road. The hotel is easy to find, right off the freeway and there was lots of parking. Overall this was a great property for us.
The hotel staff are very nice, but the room layout is not well designed. There is no towel rack, the sink is outside the bathroom without any counter for even a shaving kit. My second visit with very poor internet service, dropped numerous time, other time there was nothing available to connect to. Basically had to give up and use an air card.
The hotel was a great location to where we spent a lot of time(Columbia Bible College) The rooms were very clean, comfortable and there was lots of room. The breakfast each morning was very complete and helped us start the day.
Our volleyball team booked this hotel and upon arrival, I was surprised to see two buildings. A parking lot separates them, but they aren't far apart. It was obvious where the lobby was, so check in was a breeze and easy. My room was in the lobby building on the second floor (of three floors), so I was able to use the new staircase to go up and down to the room. My room was also updated with laminate hardwood floor and our hallway had new wallpaper. The volleyball team stayed in the other building which housed the pool and breakfast room. Their rooms started at 400 (main level) and 500 (upstairs), so we never got confused where to go for the rooms. Their rooms had the same headboards and furniture, except they had carpet and their bathrooms were slightly different in layout. We all love how there is a separate sink and toilet/shower combination (both in my room in the lobby building and in their rooms in the breakfast building). It makes it getting ready so much easier! Maid service was fantastic, and it doesn't matter which room you get really. They all have the same amenities and everyone said they slept well too. My only pet peeve is the air conditioner unit they have in the rooms by the window. The desk is also by the window so it's very distracting trying to work on the laptop when you have constant air flow blowing at you. There is no way to redirect the air so I simply turned it off while I'm working. I did not check out the pool, but breakfast was in a nice sunny room. There were a lot of options and I'm glad hot breakfast was available. Parking was plentiful and well-lit so I felt very safe staying there. I thought the highway would be an issue, but it didn't bother me at all. It is very easy to get here from the highway. I would definitely stay here again and I'd recommend this hotel for everyone from business to families to sports teams. The staff has been amazing and so helpful. Very large clean rooms too (always a big bonus).
I have stayed here 5 times now and it keeps getting better and better. They've got the best breakfast in town plus 2 swimming pools. That's hard to beat. To top it all off they have a top notch friendly staff. I'll be back for sure!
The title pretty much says it all . The staff were so helpful with our questions and needs . Rooms are large and very clean with extra pillows and nvery comfortable bed . Enjoyed our stay . A $ 12.00 CAB RIDE to the AIRPORT .
do to uncertain weather conditions, we decided to stay here. It was clean, comfortable.other than the power going out Saturday morning, which interrupted breakfast. We would for sure stay here again.
This hotel is our go to accommodations for our school when we stay in Abbotsford. The breakfast is great and the rooms very spacious for our players. Got to use the fitness room and pool which is a bonus for an active team.
Arrived at about 9.35pm and the check-in was quick. Our room was in another building across the car lot. When we arrived at the room we noticed we were right next to the breakfast buffet area, which was not a good sign as we had been travelling all day and would have liked to sleep in a little. Around 7am the fun started with the breakfast noise. Chairs being scraped along the floor, clattering of dishes and loud talking. Such a ridiculous and ignorant idea to have rooms next to that area. Very disappointed and frustrated. Didn't have the complimentary breakfast as just wanted to leave as soon as possible. The room was basic but clean.
We took our family to stay at this hotel and were treated royaly. The amenities were fantastic.. Pool, and hot tub. We have a B.C. licensed service dog and upon showing the license at the front desk and check in were welcomed warmly. The price was very reasonable. Will definitely go again!
We have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions while visiting family in Abbotsford and the hotel staff are always very friendly and helpful. Though the hotel furnishings are a little dated, it is always clean. (We were informed however, that the hotel has some rooms that are currently being renovated.) There is a complimentary breakfast buffet every morning, and it is one of the best we've ever come across. Excellent variety of breakfast items. On this particular visit we had booked a king size bed in advance, but the reservationist made an error and we ended up with 2 queen beds instead. It was no big deal, as the location was still in the building we had requested. I really do recommend this hotel as a great value for someone who doesn't want to spend a fortune on lodgings, but yet wants a good clean place to stay with breakfast included.
We were staying for a sporting event. It was close to the venue and a great place to rest up between practices. The breakfast was great for our hungry athletes. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. Some of the athletes also enjoyed the hot tub to soak tired muscles.
I have to admit that I have never stayed in a best Western that I did not enjoy but I also have to say this best Western is the best ever we always stay there they always give us an upgrade they're always so willing to help the food is fantastic the pool is great the restaurant on site is great it has everything you need !
Booked online for 2 nights through a third party booking site using a family members credit card. Explained I do not have a credit card while booking and booking site said no problem. Flew in from Toronto and got dropped off by a taxi. Had been on the road for nearly 24 hours and was told I cannot check in without a credit card to cover damages, would not accept a cash deposit and turned me away from a room I had prepaid. Refused to allow me to speak with a manager. Tired and carrying my luggage I headed across to the first hotel I could find, explained my situation and with no credit card and a $100 deposit I'm now writing this review from a bed across the street.

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel and we were sorry to hear about your experience. As with most hotels, we do require a valid credit card from all of our guests upon checkin. This is noted on all 3rd party booking sites, but unfortunately was not conveyed to you by that booking agent. We hope your alternative hotel was to your satisfaction and that enjoyed the rest of your stay in Abbotsford.
Hotel of choice for trips to Abbotsford. Great and consistent staff and service. Excellent breakfast bar that is kept full throughout the service. Convenient location. Best Western rewards program is also good value.
My family and I had a great stay here. Great breakfast in the morning as well!!!Bring toys if you have kids and want to use the pool. Hotel is near the highway but we did not hear anything from our room. It was very quite.
This is my second time staying at this location however I am a Diamond Select member and frequently stay at BW locations throughout the province. We average 10 stays per month. We are loyal BW members and in general are very happy with our stays. The staff are typical to BW, welcoming, friendly, accommodating and helpful. The entrance is grand and modern with a cozy fireplace and inviting seating tucked behind a staircase with large windows letting in light. The last time I stayed I was in the main building. This time we got booked into a room in the other building across the parking lot adjacent to the Ricky's restaurant. My advice to anyone staying here is that you NOT accept a room in that building particularly on the ground level across the hall from the pool room with windows facing into the parking lot. Between the roaring din of the pool jets echoing into the hall and our room which sounded like a huge vacuum cleaner being left running continually outside our room door, the traffic noise and the loud sounds of people talking in the parking lot mere feet from our windows as well as hearing footsteps & loud water/pipe noise from overhead, our stay has been very uncomfortable. I called the front desk three times. They did what they could regarding the pool, but as other guests were using the pool the noise continued. I was offered a room change but my preschool aged child was already asleep (fell asleep during an interval of relative quiet). So moving would have entailed waking him up, packing up & carrying everything across a dark, cold parking lot to settle in elsewhere. Every hotel has a room or two that should be avoided due to a noisy elevator or ice machine etc. While I recommend this location save yourself some grief by staying in the main building!
Very clean, comfortable, with great amenities and amazing friendly STAFFLocated very close to the highway. Great breakfast choices and very clean and comfortable bed, pillow and over all room amenities.
We arrived here at the end of a camping tour. Looking for a warm clean bed at a reasonable price. This was an excellent choice. Luckily we were able to check in early sort out our stuff, enjoy the courtyard and the pool before lights out. Breakfast for this venue was a little more bountiful then most other roadway hotels. We left rested and satisfied, What else can you ask for.
The staff are fantastic. Rooms are quiet. Parking is a breeze. Close to loads of fantastic restaurants and services. Located super close to the TransCda. Breakfast was delicious. Coffee is, as always, good.
The two of us stayed here in Sept. We booked a larger room because we thought our kids would be with us and it way a good deal two months ahead. So, with no kids... we were really happy with the two queen beds, big screen tvs, big couch, nice bathroom, very clean and quiet room. I'd do that again, book a big room ahead to get a good price. I'd stay there again, no problem. Breakfast was like everywhere else, maybe a bit cheap (quality & quantity) and the usual noticeably grumpy breakfast staff.... But they allowed smoking outside on the patio amongst others still eating - which is a HUGE issue I have anytime. Smokers should not be allowed to smoke anywhere near people still eating. Hotel should know this already.
This was a pleasant surprise to see such a well appointed room. Really comfy king size bed and great linen..and a great little restaurant right next door that serves a hearty breakfast. The hotel has many amenities to offer with a great little foyer offering fresh coffee etc. Very nice reception staff.
Used to like this property until this stay. Bad smell in room and dirty sheets and towel folded up into fold out couch. Unable to check out early without full charge to my credit card. Two cleaning ladies arguing outside my room early one morning. I will NOT be back. Disappointing.

Our last night of our BC holiday, we chose this Best Western due to its proximity to the airport. A very good choice. The room was all that we expected it to be, clean, comfortable and well equipped with a very professional staff. This is a rather large complex housed in two buildings with ample parking and a breakfast buffet, bonus!
My husband and I chose the hotel to host our friends and family coming into town for our wedding. We are both extremely happy with the decision we made and impressed at the service. Gagan and Sarah were such a joy to work with and made everything so simple for us. All of our friends and family had nothing but good things to say about their stay at the hotel. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel if visiting Abbotsford.
I like to stay fairly close to the airport for some trips, with this particular locale being handy and functional in all respects. It touts itself as being something it is not, but does offer, clean and fairly quiet rooms with a nice breakfast.
I have stayed at this motel several times. The rooms are extremely well serviced, the staff are most helpful and courteous, and the breakfast buffet presents a very complete selection of possible items. The rooms are very quiet in spite of being close to the highway. I highly recommend this motel. (Far better than the other Best Western in Abbotsford)
Front desk staff went over and above to provide a great experience for us. Suite was very spacious and really nice and comfortable. Included breakfast had a good selection, even non dairy milk :) and the airport is very close by. Highly recommend this hotel as a wonderful choice to stay in Abbotsford.
We stayed here for a couple nights touring around Vancouver before heading to Kelowna. The hotel is fairly close to the airport and was one of rhe best pricrd in the area. The room was a nice size and very well equipped with a mini kitchenette with a Kureg coffee maker. The beds felt very firm, however I did not find them uncomfortable. The breakfast was well stocked and overall not too bad. We liked this hotel so much we booked it again for when we fly out. Definitely would recommend this hotel based on the experience we had.
We ended staying here the night before the air show and did not book ahead. Booked and arrived around midnight. Room rate was a bit high but it was only only room left in the area. Staff was friendly. Room was big, clean and comfy. The breakfast had hot food and the pancakes were quite delicious. I left my pillow there and they actually mailed it to me, unlike other smaller items left in hotels over the years. Really appreciated that they would take the time to do it.
The upgrade to a suite was very nice and the area our room was in was quiet from road noise. The free breakfast was very good. The hotel was very central to various family members and activities we were involved in.
Stayed one night here on way through to kelowna. Hotel close to major roadway and road noise was quite noticeable in room. Room was clean and front desk staff was very helpful. Small pool we used was ok. Nice stop for brief visit and convenient location. Breakfast was good. Large contingent of school age kids made this a bit chaotic. A warning as to when they were coming down would have been nice. Aircrews use this hotel
Sheets were not clean, toilet didn't work, internet issues. Upon notifying staff, little was done to rectify issues. Communication was extremely difficult offering little to no assistance or adequate compensation. Extremely dissatisfied. Will not return to this hotel.
Okay - rating this very good *might* be unfair (i'll get to that in a minute). Very nice hotel - super staff and clean rooms. Very good breakfast. The front staff recommended a great restaurant (see my other review!) Downers: Pool was FROSTY. Breakfast is in another building (not far away - just strange) and the hotel itself seemed old. Not sure why. Not that that's bad - but it just felt that way.... But overall a great place to stay - and it's close to the restaurant we love....
Hotel staff was very kind and professional. Hotel was very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Kids enjoyed the pool. Breakfast in the morning made it for an easy start to the day. We have stayed at this hotel 3 times now and have been pleased with our stay everytime.
Great hotel, except rates were quite high given that it was Abbotsford Airshow weekend.Breakfast was great and included hot and cold items like waffles, pancakes, french toast. I've stayed at other Best Westerns where you can make your own waffles, and having that option here would have made the stay even better. Lots of protein options at breakfast too including sausage, bacon etc. Cinnamon buns were a little stale tasting, and could have been fresher.Room was clean, noise levels were low, pool was great. We would stay here again!
We started our 2 weeks journey to the west coast from this hotel. There are two wings (buildings), an older and newer ones, the breakfast served in the older building. The receptionist was very curious regarding the deal we had got from bookings!!. This was the first time I noticed this curiosity from the staff in a hotel!. The room smelt funky! ( like carpet washing) and it did not go away with all measures ( opening windows, runnig air condition or bathroom ventilation). Breakfast was good, however, the boiled eggs were almost frozen!. The rest of the breakfast manu was good and generous. It has free parking and a small indoor pool and hot tub. There is laundary machine in either building which makes it very convenient for guests. Free coffee and tea available at the front desk. There are near by hospital, shopping mals, bars and restaurants. Accessigble to high way with 25 min. drive to vancouver.
I stayed at the Best Western Plus Regency Inn for a 4 day work trip. I was surprised when checking in that the hotel had two buildings, one is where the front desk was as well as hotel rooms, and the other was more hotel rooms with the breakfast area, a pool and hot tub and a restaurant attached to it. The first night we decided to go into the restaurant and had a good dinner, nothing special but nice staff! In the morning we were surprised by the great selection of food, the variety changed day by day. Overall was a great stay and we had no issues with our rooms!
The room wasn't very big, the breakfast was cold, the waffles shouldn't be heated up frozen. Get a couple of waffle irons. Our room wasn't in the main hotel and wasn't communicated to us by the front desk employee. Had to walk across the parking lot. Thank goodness it was summer and not the rainy season!
Nice, quaint hotel just off the main highway from Vancouver. Ricky's restaurant with small pub attached to one part of hotel. Rooms were nice and quiet, 2 pools one in each building, was nice as one was out of commission. Front desk staff were very courteous and helpful, breakfast was super held in the one building with the Ricky's restaurant in it.
we stay in this hotel quite often. very convenient for any shows in the tradex.. we stayed 2 days this time in the older side.. this time they upgraded us to a suite.. older room, needs an upgrade but was clean and quite... we woke up to the smell of pan cakes as we were close to the stairs leading to the breakfast area... nice change... breakfast was ok..eggs and bacon. as we stay here often, we would recommend..
The property is dated but it was clean..... rooms are small and fixtures are from the 1970ies. Carpet is worn and trim is loose on the walls. The bed was comfortable The couch sagged in the middle and the lighting was old and poor. I would not stay at this property again as there is other newer properties around.
Hotel was Ok, pretty clean, badly needing to be updated. Although the Presidential suite says it sleeps 6, unless you want 2 people to sleep on a tiny uncomfortable futon in the living room without proper blackout curtains (only sheers), or put 3 people in each King bed it really doesn't fit 6. Breakfast was a very pleasant surprise. Great variety, Clean, bright, welcoming room.
Arrived to a nice renovated front desk area, the friendly staff told me I would be in the building across the street not the one the front desk was located in. This other building was very old in comparison and the hallways smelt like old wet floor mats. The room was ok, however, we noticed more and more flies as the night went on. We killed 4 of them and there was still more. The furniture in the room was very old and did not smell fresh neither did the room. The breakfast in the morning was good. Overall I would never stay here again as it is an old hotel (barely renovated) under the name of best western plus and the rooms are not clean and contain pests. There was no pens or paper to write stuff down and I paid nearly $200 for the night. Avoid staying here
My husbands brother and girlfriend came over from Wales for a month. When we drove down to the coast we needed a place that was central to all the places we wanted to take them. The rooms were large with a small love seat which was also a hideabed. There was a bar fridge and microwave as well as a coffee machine. There was a voice of two swimming pools, as well a hot tubs. Huge bonus, not only was there a nice restaurant, there was a huge breakfast buffet, which was great as we were able to go down when we were ready and even grab a plate to take up for the other person if they were late getting started. We will definitely stay at this hotel again. The service was fantastic
Stayed there for 3 days combined on 2 separate trips. One when I arrived in Vancouver and when I was heading back to Van to catch my return flight. I stayed in both of the different buildings. Accommodations were ok. Not as nice as other places but well worth the dollars. Had a great complimentary breakfast. Lots of parking and well lite areas. Has the convience of having a restaurant and pub on site. Food was okay for the price. Service was great for both the hotel and restaurant. There is a convenience store right across the street for cheaper drinks/snacks.
Excellent place to stay. Arrived into Vancouver and needed a place to rest our heads and recover from jet lag before heading into the mountains. About an hour out from Vancouver this seems to be the first reasonable sized town to stop. Very comfy, nice hot tub and pool. Great breakfast. Great diner on site. Perfectly met our needs.
Staff was friendly at the front desk, and we received a quiet room on the 3rd floor of the main building. Room didn't really look like the picture we had booked, but it was clean and comfortable and a good location away from the elevator. Maybe we were put into non renovated room? But it was still good and we didn't mention it to the desk. Elevator was very slow, but it was only 3 floors so we just took the stairs. Breakfast was quite good with lots of selection. We went to the onsite restaurant one day for lunch and it was really great! Homestyle food and large portions- it reminded me of a Cracker Barrel in the States, even with the little table game to play! Great location close to everything, lots of parking, and clean hotel, definitely a great choice if we come back to the area again.
Good time at the hotel. Food is good, continental breakfast very good. Clean hotel, friendly staff and did not hesitate to assist when required. Good location, easy access. Weinrend t return on our next scheduled trip to the Fraser Valley.
Good price and good location. Close to downtown Abbotsford and just off the highway for trips into Vancouver. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise - hot items in addition to cold offerings. Well worth the room price.
This was a lovely hotel to stay at for 3 nights while we were in town for a wedding. The property was easy to find, quiet and in a good location near the Hwy but not so close that it was noisy. The rooms were spacious with comfortable beds, spotlessly clean and had plenty of amenities. We had the 1 queen bed room with the kitchenette which was very handy for making sandwiches for a day out or having a snack. The bed was very comfortable and the AC system worked well. You can't beat the breakfast! First off, the staff worked very hard to keep the buffet well stocked and the tables clean. There's a large room to sit in and tables in a courtyard outside. The internet was flawless and there were plenty of channels on the TV. We found the staff very helpful in supplying us with things we needed and providing directions and advice as to where to go and what to see while in town. The restaurant on site, Ricky's, had delicious food and excellent service. We would highly recommend this hotel.
Clean, friendly and highly recommended. The manager and desk staff are extremely efficient and great service. Also, breakfast is above average. The location is close to the highway and downtown. Good dining easily accessible.
we checked in and was offered a suite upgrade for less money because of our BW Rewards card. Great value. Pool and hot tub were great too. The only thing I didn't like was that when we watched TV there was not a channel guide and we had no idea as to what shows were airing other then channel surfing. Other wise very satisfied.
We were lucky enough to have our wedding at this location. The venue was beautiful and perfect for our small ceremony and reception. The staff went above and beyond to make our day as special as it could be!
The bed was very comfortable. Best hotel sleep I have had. Room was very clean and bathroom amenities were laid out all in all we we very happy and would definitely recommend this hotel to our friens.
We spent three nights here. Check-in/check-out was fast and friendly. Hotel is in a great location close to the freeway, restaurants, shopping, etc. The room was comfortable and clean. We've stayed here in the past and will stay here again in the future.
Our experience was so top-notch that I have entered the hotel's phone number into my cell phone address book because it's guaranteed this is the place for us when we're in Abbotsford. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.
All the staff were so helpful. Even the maintenance people remembered us. They put us in a room with a kitchenette which suited us. The lobby area was immaculate. The check-in was relaxed and they made time to talk to us.
Stayed here and had 6 rooms. Booked 3 nights at time of but 3 weeks before coming, called with a room change and said we didn't need the Thursday night. Arrived Friday afternoon and was told all 6 rooms had been charged a no show fee (the room rate) and that they didn't get a phone call to change the dates. Well they got the room change just fine but not the date change. Weird!! But regardless they are taking no blame saying I must have messed up. Well I know I didn't mess up and the hotel charges us an extra $1200.00 for the 6 no show rooms with no fault taken on their part. Awful service. Will never stay at a best western again.
traveling_gourmet_bc, General Manager at Best Western Plus Regency Inn & Conference Centre, responded to this review
With great respect and consideration, this review is highly unfair to our property. Our groups are coordinated by sales managers who are available for any changes within the contract parameters. No changes were made in respect to the Thursday night with our Sales team. In addition several contracts where signed that showed that the Thursday night was a part of your teams stay. Our hotel held those reservations on Thursday night and turned away several other teams with similar requirements. We are very accommodating to changes, but when no communication is offered directly to our sales team and there are signed contracts that indicate that we have correct dates, it is highly unfair to offer us this score. Respectfully, Mebs Tejpar General Manger
We stayed here for a quick night in town and we very pleased with the service, location and cleanliness of the hotel. Our room was very quiet - even though it was fully booked with quite a few sports teams. Didn't hear any noise. The pool was great, only visited the one closest to our room. Breakfast was one of the better hotel breakfasts I've had, lots of options for specific diets (diary free, gluten free, etc). Very friendly staff who took care of the breakfast room. Would definitely stay again. Check in fast, parking free and easy, wifi free!
The hotel was right off the freeway. It was quiet. The rooms were clean, comfortable. The restaurant on site, Ricky's serves very good country cooking. We ate supper and breakfast there. The staff were friendly, the service quick and the food delicious. All in all a good hotel.
Quite, clean and friendly hotel. Breakfast was included, but a bit disappointing. The area set up for breakfast was big and the server was super nice. The room was clean and nice, but nothing special.
Good hotel. Convenient to my business meetings in Abbotsford. Great breakfast. Building secure. Nice facility. Would stay again. Easy on/off from the main highway. Wi-fi available. Rooms are nice and beds comfortable.
This hotel is located right next to the busy and noisy Trans Canada Highway, but our room facing inside was quiet. And our one bedroom ground-floor suite was spacious, well kitted out, and met our needs for having a dining table and extra seating. We wanted to love this hotel, but there were a few things that put us off. The overall decor was not bright or upscale, in particular the kitchen cabins were tired and old, not as portrayed in the BW website photos. The bathroom in this suite was not functional, in that the vanity was nice, but too small to be functional for travellers - travellers need shelves, not drawers. The closet doors were cheap and tacky and put us off. This ground-floor just seemed a bit dark. The pool looks inviting on the web site, but when we were there, the water looked a bit murky, too much so for us to use and enjoy. The breakfast room staff were absolutely the tops - they were helpful and friendly, and ran a great breakfast room. The have lots of seating and were very busy, but everything was there that you needed. This hotel photographs well, but in reality is not quite as nice as you might expect.
paid more for a business room but there were amenities. not even a pen! no paper, no pens, no calculator.... why did I pay for something that was offered but didn't supply? also ws offered free calls. then am charged $11.00 for a short call. no, sorry, we don't include free calls.....check their site.

This hotel offers a special rate if you are visiting someone in the hospital or senior's home. I really appreciate this and haven't seen it offered at other hotels. Rooms are nice and bed was comfortable. Breakfast is included and is good.
The hotel was very nice. Rooms were clean and there were great amenities, including a fantastic hot breakfast included in my stay. The breakfast room was clean and well stocked as well. The staff were helpful and courteous. Definitely would stay again.
TV was not set up Wi-Fi signal is too weak in rm 432 The card key never worked in the back door The carpet has burns in it The furniture looks like it was purchased in a second hand store the bathroom sink does not drain just not pleasant stay. Thanx Bill
We stayed with our wedding party for the weekend of our wedding. The presidential suite was extremely spacious and fit all our needs for the bridal party getting ready and for relaxing after the wedding festivities took place!
This is our only choice when visiting Abbotsford. The staff are wonderful, and compliment the excellent facility. Location is convenient to everything we do; the beds are comfy; the complementary breakfast is great; and the on-site restaurant is awesome. Our home-away-from-home always!
I was greeted by very friendly and helpful staff. The stairway leading to the upper rooms, added beauty to the lobby. There was plenty of parking: open and acessable. Used expedia to find this reasonably priced hotel.
The service was excellent and the room clean, so ultimately a pretty good stay. The room was a bit dated though and could definitely use updating of the furnishings and fixtures. New carpets and updated bathrooms would go a long way.
Up to best Westerns consistent standards. Interestingly..this hotel has become a bit of a Seniors lodge. I talked to quite a few long term residents who actually live here most of the time and travel to other best Westerns for vacations. This made for a busy breakfast room- full of Seniors who did not seem to keen on clearing out for the next set of breakfast goers. A little problematic I think if more Seniors move in, maybe they need to expand the eating area?
Travelling by myself and arrived tired on a cold, rainy evening. The lady at the front counter was friendly and sent me across the parking lot to the other building where my room was. Unloaded my luggage and then discovered there as no elevator so had to carry everything upstairs. My key didn't work so had to carry everything back down the stairs and across the parking lot to have it fixed. Then it was back to the other building and up the stairs again to finally get in. The room was clean and breakfast the next morning was tasty so that helped make up for the night before.
We booked two rooms and everything was arranged the way we requested. They have friendly staff. The breakfast was very good and abundant. Though it was busy considering it was spring break it was quiet. The pool has a good stack of towels. The beds and pillows were comfy. I found the tv remote a bit odd though.
Best Western Plus in Abbotsford easily accessible from the highway. The hotel has a small indoor pool and hot tub. The breakfast room is tidy with a nice selection of fruit, waffles, cereal, beverages. Ricky's Restaurant right next door has a great selection on their menu and is attached to the bar/lounge area.
I took my grandkids to Castle Fun Park then over to the Best Western Regency overnight we played in pool for a couple of hours and the beds were so comfy and our room was quiet, we had a quick check in, continental breakfast was included which was ok and our check out was also quick and easy??
Everything was clean and in good working order. Hotel staff made efforts to reduce noise from the breakfast int he morning by closing the hallway door - didn't hear a thing! Breakfast itself was adequate given the price point. In a higher-end hotel I would expect fresher items. Beds were comfortable, great little fridge to store things and internet worked well enough for streaming content on my son's iPad. Plenty of outlets in good locations for charging mobile devices. Nice little pool for the kids to putter around in.
Stayed for 6 days. Awesome breakfasts, the warm items were different everyday, I liked the variety. A wide variety of breakfast stuff. Comfortable beds. Great location. Front of hotel faces the freeway, we stayed on the other side facing a school, which was very quiet. Would stay here again
This was our second stay at the BW Plus Regency Inn in the last few months while on our way to the US through the Sumas border crossing. We found our room to be clean and well appointed, typical of a BW Plus. Staff were pleasant and efficient at check-in. The hotel itself was modern and well kept. There can be some traffic noise from the nearby Trans Canada Highway depending upon what room you're assigned. There's ample and easily accessible guest parking. There's no onsite restaurant per se, but there's a Ricky's Restaurant handy just across the parking lot. Breakfast provided with the room was served in a smallish breakfast/eating area across from the main hotel in the convention centre portion. Good variety of breakfast options were provided. It was well maintained and kept stocked by support staff, only negative would be the congestion during busy times since the eating area is a bit chopped up and relatively small. We'll stay again, good value especially if there are any discounts CAA, etc available!
Excellent service and stay from start to finish. Great price, plus we were lucky enough to be upgraded to a fantastic suite, comfortable, quiet, clean, I wish we'd been there longer than one night! Great breakfast, plenty of choice, lovely staff. Would definitely recommend this hotel and we will be back.
We had booked a room with this hotel via a third party booking site, and due to misleading information on the third party website we had accidentally booked a non-refundable room, even though we had clicked on the free cancellation link on the third party website. We received a confirmation email from the hotel confirming our reservation which indicated that we "may" be charged for the hotel in the future and that the amount that was shown would be the amount charged. However, after only a few hours we were charged for the hotel room and the amount charged to us was different than what the email stated. The difference was the local sales taxes, but nowhere in the email did it state that we would be charged the amount shown plus taxes. Both my wife and I contacted the hotel and the third party, to no avail. We were told on both ends that it was up to the other party to assist us in rectifying this oversight. During one of my phone calls to the hotel I was actually hung up on by one of their staff members, this is totally unacceptable. I managed to speak to a manager at the hotel and was basically told the same thing, that their policies were being followed and there wasn't anything that could be done for my family. The long and short of this is that we are now being forced to stay at a hotel, instead of wanting to stay there. I will NEVER book a room at this hotel again, nor will I ever use the third party booking site. This has been the worst experience in booking a hotel that I have ever had.
I've stayed at this hotel a number of times the last year. Rooms are average with bathrooms a little on the small size. The beds are comfortable and not too soft. I've found it to be quiet and the breakfast is fairly decent. There is a restaurant on site that I've tried but I've found the service to be very slow every time I've tried it. My largest issue is their hot tubs... both of them. They are lukewarm at best. I'm told they have to have the temp at 102f because of BC law. I stay at hotels across western Canada at least 50 nights a year and there is no way the temp is 102f. I got the impression that staff really didn't care which is fine becasue next trip, I'm trying a hotel in Langley.
My wife and I dropped our kids off at a friend's in Chilliwack and chose this property for a kid free night. Check in was fast and friendly and we had a largish room with a king-size bed and a small love seat. The hotel's not super new or fancy but the the room and common areas were alright, a little bland but alright. I was surprised by how tiny our bathroom was but otherwise the room was fine. Probably the most disappointing part of our stay was the breakfast. It was pretty similar to your standard motel breakfast but just not very good! There were sausages (neither my wife or I tried them), scrambled eggs that were terrible and premade waffles. They had real whipped cream and fruit as toppings but the waffles were awful (I'm not that picky, honest! I don't know how you screw up waffles but they did!). The worst part was the Nescaffe coffee machine, I can forgive a lot if the coffee is decent but it wasn't. Lest I appear totally negative, the breakfast staff were great and working their butts off to ensure everyone had food on a very busy morning. The layout of this property is very odd, it's two separate buildings with a parking lot dividing them. No biggie, just not as fancy as I was expecting from the 3 star designation and the amazing reviews on this site. There's really nothing wrong with be hotel, it just didn't charm our socks off.
We saw a concert in Abbotsford and decided to spend the night. I booked this hotel through Expedia because it was close to the venue and had a good price. The hot tub was definitely a bonus feature! We were super satisfied with our room and the staff was pleasant and helpful.
I got caught in a snow storm, and could not make it down the highway. This hotel had good reviews, well priced and nearby. The check in was great, friendly and fast and I got an upgrade.the room was large, nicely decorated and spotless. There is a restaurant on site, so no need to hop in the car and brave the elements. Breakfast was included, and included hot food. Would recommend this site to anyone.
I've stayed here likely 5 times and things are not improving at all. It hits all the check boxes (pool, attached restaurant, breakfast, etc) but none of it is very good. For example the bathroom has burned out light bulbs, the finish is coming off of the vanity, the TV is hilariously small. It's comfortable and reasonable in price but keep your expectations in check.
WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE....ROOM FULL OF ANTS...Did nothing about it.....contacted head office best western...they wont even talk to me ....just a generic e- mail....Me ...my freinds and family would never stay at a Best(Not) Western locatation ever again

Arrived later and were fortunate enough to receive an upgrade from the front desk attendant. She was great from the time to arrived through check-in!! For an older hotel it was very well maintained and with all amenities. Our room was on the highway side and was very loud. Not sure of the other rooms but if we were to stay again we would request away from the highway. Otherwise, room was fantastic!
Everything from staff to room was as I expected for this type of hotel in this kind of location. Most agreeable were the front counter staff who were very attentive to detail. All my needs were met in a timely manner. I will return here the next time I am in Abbotsford
I would highly recommend this hotel. Staff were great, rooms were super clean and the amenities were top notch. We can't say enough about the quality of the food and the service in the Sports Bar, outstanding!! Excellent value! We will be back!!
Despite the icy weather, it was a good place to travel to, rest and recuperate as well as visit family from. The room was nicely furnished for a group of us and very comfortable for all of us including the fridge and microwave.
This hotel had a very nice comfortable feel to it on a very busy weekend. We needed to stay at a location that was nearby to the Abbotsford airport and do not regret picking this stay. Very kind personnel as well.
More concerned about paperwork than the customer. Keys constantly needed reprogramming. Bed not comfortable. Good location. Very unusual to have to get a new key for every room for everyday. Staff much more concerned about making Best Western happy than the customer.

We found this location through the Best Western website and decided to try it out as it had availability for New Year's at a surprisingly good price. We were confident of a good experience due to the Best Western brand and were not disappointed. The hotel has two parts and each has its own pool and spa areas. We were in the 'main' area and the breakfast room was a very short walk across the parking lot. There is also a Ricky's Restaurant in the same building if you wanted something different for dining. The breakfast was a full on hot buffet with many, many choices including gluten free for those that are concerned. Our room was on the second floor and it was if we were in the hotel by ourselves. There was no outside noise and we couldn't even hear other guests, even though it was apparently full due to massive power outages in the area. We selected a room with a king sized bed and had lots of space to move around. There is a liquor store across the street and we found the casino a short 5-10 minute drive. We will likely stay here again when we want to 'spoil' ourselves.
Regular visits to Abbotsford find us staying at the Regency as our home away from home. The staff treat us like family. The facilities offer everything we need to be comfortable and feel pampered. Location is perfect for all our activities in the surrounding area. The on site restaurant is fantastic, with very tasty food in great sized portions at a good price. Always recommend the Regency to everyone who is visiting Abbotsford.
Super Staff, Super Service, Super Duper. I stay at this Hotel 50-60 nights a year and have never had a problem. I would recommend it to anyone. It is a Convenient Location on the Freeway and It is accessible to everywhere in the Lower Mainland. I have had special requests and they have always accommodated me. The restaurant at the Hotel has some of the best food in Abbotsford. Always Yummy!
The guest service was great when we arrived but once we were in our room that is where problems started. We first noticed a moldy drinking cup but just thought it was a one time thing. Then from 9pm to 3am off and on, we had to listen to a pick up truck with a plow grind away at the cement in the parking lot for long periods of time resulting in no sleep. There was limited snow ans the driver was literally just grinding in plow on the cement with no snow! So annoying. Then after finally falling asleep and waking up a short time later, I went to the sink to brush my teeth and the entire counter had ants crawling through my personal hygiene products (tooth brush had about 10 ants on it, hair brush, it was gross). We decided to checkout a day early and the hotel offered us another room but it wasn't worth staying.
Excellent facility, very friendly and helpful staff, best restaurant on site, very clean and comfortable. It ideally located just of the Trans Canada Highway and easy access to main shopping areas. My favorite place away from home.
As team manager i have booked both my sons teams at this location several times, The breakfast is great and it had different options each day. They have 2 buildings with a pool in each building. It also has Ricki's Restaurant attached. The group sales manager is always a pleasure to deal with and is super friendly, accommodating and helpful. We will be back
Excellent stay. Quiet clean large room with very good breakfast. Restaurant next door was also very good. Service was polite and prompt. No issues at all. I would highly recommend to others needing a hotel in the area,
Great place. Easy to book. It looked nice and clean when you walk in staff friendly and helpful. Close to A lot of this and the highway. Room nice and clean. Pool and hot tub where nice and it was clean too
This hotel is excellent from the rooms (awesome beds!) to the free breakfast to the value to the location. Easy access from the highway and to the rest of Abbotsford. I would stat here time and time again.
I was very surprised when viewing our room. Spacious, very clean and the most comfortable bed and pillows. Although the hotel carpets etc could have an upgrade I would certainly stay here again, pleasantly surprised at how well kept the hotel is. Super little breakfast area, indoor pool which was spotless, staff friendly and free parking. Close to the highway and restaurant onsite. Although not 5 star it definitely was a great visit
Stayed 1 nite while on business in Abbotsford. Quiet hotel with exceptional staff. They were able to accommodate my request for an early check-in so I could work in advance of my scheduled meeting. Already booked for a trip to the area the following week. Great breakfast with a wonderful hostess! Will stay here every time my business takes me to the upper Fraser Valley. Book with confidence!
One night mini vacation. Beautiful room, clean, with excellent hotel staff. Love the pools and hot tubs. There are two of each. ABC Country Restaurant, beautifully decorated and yummy good. We all had a great time relaxing, eating, and chilling.
1. We drive between 7-9 hours to get here from Spokane, WA each time we visit. Knowing the accommodations will be perfect, the reception will be warm, and the breakfast will be delicious maintained by an efficient and cheerful staff makes the drive so much easier for us! It sounds corny, but it's kind of like going home each time. 2. Your breakfast is wonderful, and we look forward to not having to decide where to go each morning for breakfast. The staff - wow- we are so impressed. We don't know if it's because you're Canadians or because you choose the best employees, but some of the same employees are always there, and they're always kind and helpful. I must say, watching them interact with other guests only confirms our experiences - your breakfast staff is great. 3. Housekeeping - super fast and absolutely clean every time. Can't say anymore. 4. The room - it has everything we need and want. It's consistent and amenities always work. Very much appreciate the free wi-fi. Thank you! 5. I have to say, I LOVE the black and white photos throughout the hotel, especially those with a nautical theme, but those of the trees are beautiful, too. 6. Since I'm listing comments here, the holiday decorations were going up while we were there and they ware beautiful! 7. Also, some remodelling was going on for the front desk and maybe a guest room. A miter saw and other equipment were set up outside, but they were clean, tidy, and avoided making too much noise until guests were away from the area.
Decent hotel, close to highways, good location for shopping and food. Has a Ricky's Restaurant on site, good value for money, good food, quick and friendly service. Hotel breakfast was good. Only complaint is that the room was extremely noisy from the highway.
excelleent hotel to stay and friendly staffs i recommend this hotel to any one flying out of abbotsforrd. the lady at the breakfast is awesome. the front desk staffs are great and the bed is comfortable but the size of the room is small.
Bed was rock hard. Half the towels were dirty. The pillows were super soft. They only had 1 shampoo/conditioner for 2 people to use. The staff was pleasant enough but their continental breakfast left something to be desired.

I've stayed at lots of hotels and this one will be well remembered! Nice and clean room, comfy bed, no complaints at all. Service was great. Served a hot complementary breakfast. Great price for a great hotel. Will come back again when in the area!
Staff where very friendly and helpfull the hotel is very clean easy access to everything laundry fitness and pool breakfast was great no complain room service was awesome i tottally recomend best western .
The comfortable, fully serviced rooms and accommodating staff make The Best Western Plus Regency Inn and Conference Centre the best choice of any Abbotsford hotel. The breakfast is excellent offering a wide range of items that are always kept full.
This is a very good hotel, and we have stayed here many times. Breakfast is included and is always well stocked with lots of options. The rooms are always clean and the beds are very comfortable. We get very good service every time.
Unfortunately I was not impressed with some of the things about this place. First thing was when we checked into our room and found someone's underwear hanging on a lampshade. Right away I'm questioning the cleanliness of the room. We were given a room that was on the highway side of the building that was very noisy. Last thing was the 'free WIFI'. We had trouble even connecting to the WIFI, and when we did connect, it dropped after 15-20 seconds ever time. On the bright side...their complimentary breakfast was very good. The beds are very, very comfortable.
Good hotel, Clean rooms. The team is doing a good job at cooking a great breakfast which is one of the best. Beds are very comfortable and the super clean. You get a very good sleep quality. I would strongly recommend.
thanks for the stay will definatly stay again.the restaurant was very busy ..loved the bed and staff ..lots of stores close by and so is the freeway . My vehicle felt safe and was fairly quiet for being close to freeway.
Such a nice place to stay as we visited our critically ill loved one. The staff was fantastic, helpful and kind. The breakfast was delightful with GF options for us as we are celiac. One of the best continental breakfasts I have seen, considering we usually can't eat anything! The rooms were clean and had a kitchenette which was helpful when being away unexpectedly. It was close to the hospital and they offered us a hospital discount when we mentioned the nature of our stay! I am extremely impressed with this stay, it made a horrible time more bearable.
Just needed a quick one night stay in Abbotsford. This hotel was perfect for what we needed, comfortable beds, great breakfast in the morning, reduced rate for member. The staff was accomidating and welcoming.
We stayed at the hotel because it was close to the hospital. We really appreciated the medical rate for the room and had no complaints. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. There was a great selection of breakfast items and lots of seating space. The staff was friendly and professional.
The hotel and room were fairly clean, although I must say that the room had sticky carpets though. Staff were pleasant and overall made our stay easy by giving us an accessible room as we were travelling with an infant. Came in at night time to fly out at the airport so didnt really explore around the area, conveniently located close to airport.
When in Abbotsford we would gladly stay here as it is one of the best Best Western's in which we have stayed. We trust that my spouse's jacket, forgotten in our room when we checked out, will be swiftly found and returned to us by Best Western.
This hotel is close to the airport. I stayed 2 nights at his hotel while visiting friends in the area. It had everything I need from a hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The reception area and the room was very clean - even though it seemed to be an older place. It had no musty or any other funny smell. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was included in the price. There was a food choice of hot dishes, yogurts, fruit, cereals and breads. The breakfast area was clean and the kitchen staff was very friendly. I will stay in this hotel again.
Stay is what would be expected with this price point. I usually stay at this hotel when I visit Abbotsford. It has good access to everything and everywhere I need to go when I am there. I would recommend this to others.
Three of us thoroughly enjoyed the two bedroom suite with luxurious king beds. Upstairs room had a bathtub and a futon. The kitchen was well equipped and dining and living area provided lots of space. We all felt the calm and peace being city gals. We drove to Harrison Hot Springs public pool and so appreciated coming back to this "home" away from home. The staff went out of their way at breakfast time, Joan, Rebbeca for bookings and even Mr. Mike! Next time will bring a 4th gal as there were two bathrooms. Really recommend more gal pals to plan and immensely enjoy such trips.
The front desk told me that there would be a lot of highway noise in my room so I was prepared, but that might be a problem for others. The room was adequate and the bed was comfortable. The only ice machine is on the first floor. Also, the breakfast is in a different building altogether and you need a room key to enter. It was pouring rain when I was in Abbotsford, so that was not the most pleasant start to my day. Walking across the parking lot in the rain only to be faced with a locked door. So, back across the parking lot and upstairs to retrieve a key (my companion stayed in the room). The breakfast was decent - scrambled eggs each day of my stay with either bacon or sausage, plus cereal and danish, etc. My biggest complaint was that one evening I returned at about 9:30 p.m. after having left at 7:00 a.m. and the door to my room was ajar. Nothing was missing so I assume that it just didn't swing shut all the way after housekeeping made up the room, but it was a bit scary to come back and find my room unsecured.
Paid over $200 to stay here. Was over priced. Nothing is in the area (not many restaurants or shops) and the room wasn't that clean. There are better options in Abbotsford. If you're not picky, it will likely suit your needs, but I'm picky and at that price, expected way more than what I got. The hotel has great reviews, but I think they are misleading. Again, I was expecting more and left disappointed. On a positive note, the staff was great and very helpful.
we chose this hotel due to its proximity to my family. a very good place to stay. everything form the room to the breakfast was top notch staff friendly and helpful .the food choices had a variety to chose from. from hot to cold
Hotel has a good access off the freeway. Front desk staff is very heipful with directions to restaurants & shopping locations.Beds are comfortable , room was clean & comfortable, bathroom was clean.Plan to stay here more often when we travel to the lower mainland.
We did not have reservations are we were just travelling through. We were provided a nice clean room, good breakfast, and the front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful. Would stay here again on our travels.
We got in late from a grueling 3 day intensive conference in Vancouver and was offered a complimentary upgrade for 3 of us. Our room was just so spectacular, I was disappointed we were not able to stay longer. We had a scrumptious filling breakfast before heading out traveling again. So much gratitude to all your stay for such a memorable experience at your hotel!!
Nice hotel convenient location with very friendly and accomadating staff .Breakfast and internet services are a step above will definitely stay again soon it is a little smelly out here in Abbotsford a bit poopy
My wife and I enjoy our stay at the Best western Regency Inn in Abbotsford. We stay there every trip to the coast. The staff are very pleasant, helpful and friendly. We enjoy our stay.Enjoy Breakfast before continuing our journey
The pros to this hotel: It is extremely close to the Abbotsford airport. It is clean and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast is good, with plenty of selection. It's just off the highway, so easy access. There is a restaurant in the hotel. The cons: We have stayed at this hotel twice. Both times there were several hockey teams staying there. Last time, we were put in the main building and there was no problem at all. This time, however, we were surrounded by many teenage hockey players who were very LOUD. I understand that the hotel does plenty of business with these kinds of things, but I don't think we would book there again unless we called first to find out if hockey teams would be staying there. It's frustrating to have people yelling and swearing in the hallways.
requested a room with easy access- it was very difficult to find the room let alone get to it. Trapped- door was broken and therefor locked, as it was the only door I could leave from I almost missed my flight.... what if there were an emergency like a fire.... very disappointing :(

Have stayed at this BW hotel previously and once again found it a clean, quiet hotel with excellent service. Check in staff efficient and friendly. Good breakfast and the staff there were also so very nice. Pool and spa were welcoming after a long car ride.
From the front desk helper to the breakfast staff our one night stay for a trade show was perfect. Our room was large and bed comfortable. A bit noisy as our window faced the patio where smokers were allowed but once we closed the window it was pretty quiet
Everything was great, but there was a constant stream of noise from the highway. Nothing anyone can do about that. Just hadn't paid attention to it when we booked. Nice pools and hot tubs, there are 2 sets! Pool not big enough to swim for exercise, but was nice to cool off and paddle around and then enjoy the hot tub.
Stayed just the one night. Nice room. Big king bed, nice sheets and pillows. Had fridge, micro, coffee. Restaurant nearby. Liquor store across street. Nice and friendly staff. Free breakfast standard fare eggs, ham, etc. Thought was good. Free parking too
Spent a night at the hotel in the 26th September before flying back to the UK. We had two queen beds, both very comfy, nice bedding and comfy pillows. Really great nights sleep. Bath lovely and deep so perfect for a soak. The facilities were great for the price which included a good selection of foods at breakfast. Would definitely stay again. Please note that it's an hours drive to YVR with no traffic. Allow more time during busy periods and roadworks.
This is our 2nd time staying at this hotel. 1st time was a couple years ago and again last night. It is a great place to stay. The beds are comfy. Nice comfy pillows. Nice room. Great Costumer service. many options for Breakfast.
Nice hotel, comfortable, clean, nice friendly staff..., nice pool..... and hot tub, great breakfast at hotel and restaurant next door! Internet worked well, nice and quiet, close to airport too and good walking
Clear room, good amenities, great service. Conveniently located close to the TransCanada Highway, but far enough away for traffic noise to be inaudible. Lots of parking and great breakfast including eggs, bacon, and pancakes as well as continental options. The price is extremely good for everything that your get.
Nice room with good facilities, but need to keep public areas cleaner and need to be mindful when having large coach parties for breakfast that food needs to be replenished. Otherwise a good stay. Friendly staff.
This accommodations certainly met all our needs. It was easy to find and near the Tradex show grounds at the Abbotsford airport. This' breakfast included' was better than any I have experienced lately.
This motel was perfect for our five-night out-of-province trip to assist a family member. Although the motel appeared very busy, the room location (216 in the same building as the front desk) was quiet and adequately appointed (fridge/micro/coffee/two luggage racks/incredibly comfortable beds and pillows and quality towels). The only slightly awkward issue was that it backed directly and closely onto the backyard of a private single-family home...so sheers had to be kept drawn. There was never any noise, though. We would use this motel, room and breakfast buffet without hesitation, again.
I had a good stay - they were very helpful finding all the best rates for a three day stay. Rooms were clean - continental breakfast is typical you will get at any Best Western no surprises. I would rebook if in Abbotsford.
While traveling to Vancouver Island decided to stay a night to avoid peak traffic period. Good access to highway 1 for getting off and on again. Room was comfortable for the 2 of us. I love Best Western beds... wish I had one at home! We had a room in the newer main building which has a welcoming lobby. Downside... The free breakfast offer is average and the breakfast room was across the parking lot (in pouring rain)
Clean, comfortable, convenient, safe. That's what I look for in a one night stopover hotel and the Best Western Plus in Abbotsford met my needs. The mattress was good, the linens above average; there were lots of towels, good water pressure and lots of hot water, a large flat screen TV, coffee machine etc. The room size and furnishings were as expected for a hotel in it's class, not sleek and modern but fine. The only deficiencly was that there was no glassware in the room - everything was plastic. The hotel itself was quiet but it is close to the highway so ask for a room away from the highway. We used the AC to provide white noise and that worked well. The staff were efficient at check-in and check-out time. The DIY breakfast (included) was better than average - paper plates & plastic cutlery but lots of everything and a good layout for access; scrambled eggs, bacon, selection of baked goods and bread for toast, hot & cold cereal, some fruit, pancakes, yogurt, coffee etc. I will return to this hotel.
This was a last minute stop to find on the way home. The staff were wonderful, room clean, and breakfast amazing. The hotel is close to the Canadian border and was easy to get on the highway. I highly recommend staying here!
Spent 5 nights attending a conference. Great food, great staff, clean hotel. Not much to scenery around the hotel but everything I needed was at the hotel so no need to go anywhere. I will be coming back.
Hotel was clean and room comfortable but nothing special.staff seemed nice but we would have appreciated a little more flexibility.we arrived just after 2 and we were really tired as we have been traveling along way.we asked for an early check in which they could not do.other than that our stay was uneventful and our room was quiet.
We were on a long motorcycle trip and decided this was a good place to stay. The hotel is close to the freeway and has a excellent restaurant. We have stayed here many times and it still is a great place to stay. The food at the Ricky's restaurant was very good. The quality of the room and amenities was high. The check-in and checkout went very smoothly and quickly. The free morning breakfast includes eggs, bacon, French toast and many other items. In all it was a good experience.
Excellent value, friendly staff, comfy bed as long as you're not beside the highway (busy). I would recommend. I don't appreciate TripAdvisor requesting a min 200 characters - I like a quick review and I have nothing else to say. Good Value for the price.
This is a decent hotel, nothing fancy but it is clean and has all the basic amenities you would need. The rooms have a typical old smoky smell but you can get over it. The heating and A/C works perfect. The location is great, they have a restaurant on location which is ideal. Breakfast was included in our stay and it was pretty decent for a hotel of this type.
Great accommodations. Very clean and very well maintained. Staff are professional, helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this Best Western Plus to anyone looking for a pleasurable hotel experience.
We enjoyed our stay very much. Rooms are clean, staff is courteous and professional and the breakfast is top notch for an 'included' breakfast. Also, the attached restaurant has excellent food as well.
Hotel is close to Columbia Bible College and offers a discount to parents visiting a child there. Staff is always professional and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast presentation is great and lots of options.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the entire building had a nice scent which in my opinion is important. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the temperature was exactly what we wanted. The complementary breakfast was very good and the staff excellent. It was also very easy to find with great access to the Trans Canada Highway. I highly recommend this facility and would definitely stay here again if I travel to this area.
Service was friendly. Room was excellent. Bed was very comfortable and allowed us to get a good nights rest. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay, short or long term. I would definitely stay theee again.
Hot summer days and air conditioning unit is old and in poor working condition. Bed is uncomfortable and requested a wake up call but we never received it. When I mentioned these items on the way out front desk just shrugged their shoulders and said oh well .our wakeup call.

Thank you so much for choosing our hotel during your recent stay in Abbotsford, we truly apologize for the inconveniences you experienced. Our front desk team has reached out to you via email. Please contact the hotel directly so that we can make this right for you. Sincerely, Mebs Tejpar GM
I travel for business and this is a great place to stay. It's clean comfortable and provides easy access to the highway. There are great restaurants in the area - Ricky's - across the parking lot can be a challenge - but it's more family oriented.

Very good rate , service and quality, we always stay with BW if they are available. We were staying at this particular BW because of illness in the family and the staff were excellent. BW is our first choice if possible.
The Hotel is great. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Variety at breakfast was very good. good food. Rooms are nice. Clean and tidy. Internet service very good. I worked through the morning in the lobby entrance on a very nice size desk to do my paperwork. Great service. With coffee available always.
The front desk staff were pleasant and caring. The room was spotless and inviting. The breakfast had lots of variety and was tasty. The breakfast staff were cheerful and friendly. Tara went above and beyond!!
Arrived late, but check in was seamless. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Very convenient location if arriving or departing from the Abbotsford airport (6 min drive) Free wifi, breakfast and parking is always a bonus.
This hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff were welcoming, pleasant and helpful. The beds and pillows were very comfortable (something I seldom find when travelling), and I slept very well. The breakfast buffet was delicious! I especially enjoyed the healthy choices, such as fresh fruit, yogurt, berries for cereal or pancakes, and several protein options. The hotel was easy to find and fairly quiet, although there was some freeway noise when outside. It was not an issue from inside the room. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.
We arrived late due to travel. Tired and just interested in a clean comfortable bed. We were surprised to be upgraded to a suite! What a great lift to our spirits! Staff were very helpful, friendly and efficient. The rooms were very comfortable, easy parking, and a hot breakfast the next morning. Very easy access on and off the Transcanada, and yes the rooms were quiet!
This hotel is lovely. Modern and beautiful interior. Rooms are very well appointed. Comfortable beds. What more could you ask for? The breakfast buffet is great. We're vegan and very much appreciated the fact that they offered a non-dairy choice of milk, so we could at least have some cereal. Also a great choice of fruits!. There is a Rickys Family Restaurant attached to the hotel as well.

Stayed here for business in the area. Room was clean, quiet and decently sized. Staff were great, helpful, nice and accommodating. Offered me free toiletries I had forgotten at the previous hotel. Upgrade my room, etc Restaurant onsite was convenient. Free breakfast was decent.

Bad service rude front desk overbooked my room so had no hotel that had been paid in advance, very run down new building.. Not pet friendly would rather talk on phone that help people standing in like ! Will not ever stay here again! & it stinks

B W is one of my favourite chains. That is we stayed there a couple of days ago. The price on their site was $165+ tax. When we checked in the price magically went to $300+ for an average room. Th en to rub salt into the wound the wi-fi was so weak it was unusable, the coffee pot didn't work, the power went out in the morning, there was no water pressure in the shower, and it was extremely noisy. I get it that a hotel has the right to raise rates but double the rate for an average room is unfair business practice. We have all stayed in a high end room with a fireplace, jacuzzi and a steam shower. This wasn't one of those rooms. Buyer beware.
The most welcoming Best Western I've been to by far! Both check-in & check-out staff went out of their way to ensure I had an amazing stay. Breakfast was amazing & the room was super clean and comfy. Best night's sleep I've had in a long time! I will definitely be recommending it to all my friends!! :)
I have stayed here with my mother on 3 different occasions, and all 3 times I was delighted with the staff and the way they go out of their way to be extra friendly and to make sure you have everything you need! Everyone from the front desk to the ladies working the breakfast to the maintenance men. I can't say enough good things about them!
It is always a pleasure to report on an excellent , friendly location. We spent two days here for the International Air Show. The staff and Accommodations were excellent. Rooms were well appointed and the service received from the staff was simply out standing. I highly recommend this location for weary travellers. Also across the parking lot is a Ricky's Restaurant. The food and quality of friendly service go hand in hand with the Best Western Plus mantra. I will most definitely put this hotel on our preferred travelling list.
Abbotsford hotels are simply getting more pricey across the board, so if you want to stay somewhere decent without paying excessively, this hotel is a good choice. Notes... 1. Weekend rates can be significantly higher than weekday rates. Be aware of this before booking. 2. Try booking online, but also call them after trying online, especially if you are booking within a week or two of staying. 3. You must have breakfast here. The staff tries its best to ensure cooked food (two dishes that change daily) is stocked. It can be busy, so just be a little patient. Oh yes, no annoying line for Belgian waffle maker. Staff provides Belgian waffles. :) 4. Shower height works for people who are over 6 feet tall! Yay!
Friday night price check showed 165. Go next day, decide to stay the night, check the price....310...call hotel direct to see if an error....they try and get 360. Won't make the mistake of not checking the daily price again.
Good value for a nice hotel with really good breakfast. Hotel had a pool and clean rooms with air conditioning. Staff were friendly and helpful. Pillows on the. Ed were a little large and lumpy but room was nice.
The place is starting to show its age somewhat. Room was clean, the bed comfortable, security in parking lot, tv not bad, bathroom ok. Morning food was plain and ordinary but sustained me until lunch. Coffee and apple juice were poor. Overall it was ok. Probably would stay there again.
We checked into this hotel, one room , two queen beds. There are two buildings. We were in the building which did not have the front desk. We had to move rooms 3 times. The first room our toilet was broken and had a large ripple in the carpet. I was concerned one of us may slip on it in the night. We changed to another room which had an absolutely awful odour, they moved us again a third time. We settled for that room. Let me stay we had no offer of help to move our luggage and I was travelling with an 85 year old . The building we stayed in was not very clean nor were the rooms. Would not stay again.
I have been staying at this hotel every time I come to this area. Hotel has always bee above expectations, and at a reasonable price. The Rickies Restaurant is excellent with some Abbotford exclusive menu items. I always order from these.
This was a great stay. Right from the start from the friendly staff and their focus on their customers and attentiveness to to great look of the hotel. Our room was quiet, clean, comfortable and had absolutely no issues. Internet was stable and fast. Breakfast was great. We have been travelling for the past month and this has been one of the best hotels we have stayed in, .
1.5 stars for a BW. Why?... No high def channels at all No channels guide Pool was down and not just either pool or hot tub, entire area! I booked to use a hot tub, and main reason for me to pay more for a hotel in general Pretty noisy out in halls etc until 12 am I dusted the top of the tv for the cleaning staff as was pretty dusty Room was missed in some areas for cleanliness One positive plus... Friendly check in though and for once HDMI capability to watch Netflix at least

Thank you for choosing our hotel and we were so disappointed to hear about your experience. We apologize that we had to close one of our pools for repair, however our hotel has 2 pools on the property. The second pool and whirlpool were open in our Crown building. For the price, this was a very nice Hotel. The pool was a bit small, but warm compared to other Hotels. My 8 year old loved it. The Breakfast was actually above expectation, very nice selection of hot items.
Good hotel and good stay with our family. The breakfast was wonderful and added value to our stay. I appreciated that I was able to do a couple loads of laundry while we were there. Good room, good beds, pillows were too puffy, shower and towels were very nice. Loved that there was a microwave and a fridge. There was also a coffee maker, but we don't drink coffee. Easy to find, parking was ok. Overall, a good place.
Very unhappy with our recent stay in this hotel. We asked for a suite and got a dump! Our windows we're half the size and overlooked some part of the building that we couldn't identify, but realized it was to the restaurant when we could hear people singing happy birthday through the walls. Constant traffic noise, found many hairs in the beds, and the bed tops were not clean. I tried to use the hairdryer and kept blowing the fuse- gave up on that. Very dirty hallways, elevator etc... We also had one window air conditioner for a 1+ 1/2 room. Miserable place. We were charged $300+ for one night and because we decided to leave and not stay another night they charged us an additional $250. We ended up in a much cleaner hotel in Burnaby with working amenities, modern facilities and a clean pool for less! If you're not a super clean person, or if you like noise this is the place for you. I do not recommend it at all.
We originally only booked for two nights but needed to stay another 2 nights. The employees on staff were very helpful and kind helping us get everything sorted out and together. I even had to book the original 2 nights over the phone and the employee who helped me made things smooth and easy to understand. Unfortunately I cannot remember their names.
Stayed in a kitchenette suite for 2 nights in July. The stay was excellent and comfortable in every way. The check in process was quick and easy. The kind lady at the front desk even signed me up for the Best Western rewards program so that I could get a $20 voucher. Everything was explained at the front desk. Please note that the hotel is split into two separate buildings. There is one building that has the reception, lobby, gym and pool. The second building, across the car park has the breakfast area, a larger pool (good for laps) courtyard, and separate restaurant/bar. My stay was in the second building. The room was large and you had plenty of space to swing several cats. The small kitchenette had a small stove with two cook tops, a sink and a small supply of pots/pans and utensils. The bed was comfortable and had a good amount of pillows. Bathroom was clean and there was good shower pressure and no issues with hot water. The pool was great and good for doing morning laps. In the evenings it did get a little noisy with kids but that can't be helped. The breakfast selection was large and the staff was friendly. Although the hotel is close to the highway, I could only notice the noise when I had the windows open, although, my room was not one of the closest ones to the highway. All in all, it was a great stay and I would definitely use again if in Abbotsford,
Want to stay at a clean, well-run, orderly, and relatively quiet hotel where the staff go out of their way to solve any problems you might encounter? Sounds too good, doesn't it? The closest I know to such a dream-hotel is the Best Western Plus Regency Inn & Conference Centre just off Highway 1 about 100 kms east of Vancouver.
We stayed at the Best Western Plus Regency Inn at Abbotsford for ten days and were thoroughly satisfied. The noise of the highway traffic was a bit annoying to folks coming from the country, but I guess that's to be expected. The staff were super friendly and helpful! The breakfast was excellent, compared to other experiences. The facilities were overall very good. Would heartily recommend BW in Abbotsford to anyone.
Average hotel but clean. Nice breakfast. Easy to find. Fast check in. Quiet. Motorcycle friendly with paved parking. Only one restaurant in walking distance. Could use updating but it is a good choice.
Simply put, you can here a pin drop in this hotel. If you are after a good nights sleep do not stay here. I suspect a super cheap build and little to no sounds proofing at all. The price of $150 a night for Sunday should be more like $60 and rated as a 1-2 star hotel I will not be back.

Thank you so much for choosing the Best Western Plus Regency Inn. We were so sorry to hear about your stay and with the sound or noise issues. We are always happy to change rooms for our guests if there are any issues in the present allocated room. I am not sure if you brought forward this concern to our front desk team, as they would have been happy to offer a different room to your satisfaction. We would appreciate the opportunity to hear about your concerns in detail. Please contact Brianna Darby, our Front Desk Manager, so that we can make things right. Your satisfaction is very important to us. Sincerely, Mebs Tejpar GM
The Best Western hotels have a target market and in that sense this hotel is entirely satisfactory. I cannot imagine why anyone would want to stay in Abbotsford on vacation, unless it is to cross over the USA border the next day. In that vein, the guests seem to be mostly in transit, or here for work purposes, or something in that ilk. The room we had was quite up to standard, with TV, WiFi, coffee making facility and a bar fridge. The bathroom (always the real indicator of an accommodation's standard for me) actually had a bath, the shower was red hot (yeayyy) and the toiletries smelled wonderful. The tissues and hairdryer are plus points in my book. Breakfast was a buffet self-help affair with all the normal offerings, but you could just as well have been eating in some franchise diner. Nothing special or outstanding. In fact the bagel was definitely at least one day old, not nice. But if you are merely looking for a nice place to overnight, in comfort and with some sense of being catered for, this is a good one.
We stayed 1 night here and perhaps because of high demand season, the price was $371 for that one night. At that price you would expect everything in your room to work. Not the case here, as there was a broken shower that was only discovered while in the shower. Water coming out the sides everywhere, barely any water pressure from the shower head onto me, so soap would not properly washed off. I told front desk immediately after upon check-out. The insult was that they only stated they would get maintenance to look into it, no mention of giving a discount as I was obviously disappointed because I would need to reshower at home to remove my soap. They offered no recourse, stating manager away on weekends. I than asked if I could get the managers number because the staff obviously didn't care or take initiative to ensure they didn't loose a customer. So my advice, hold onto your wallet and choose a less expensive place where if the shower doesn't work at least you didn't pay over $300 for that disappointment.

Thank you for choosing our hotel and we were so sorry to hear about your experience at our hotel regarding the shower. Your comfort and satisfaction are very very important to us. Perhaps there was a miscommunication during your checkout, as several options were offered to compensate you for the inconveniences, but declined. Please feel free to reach our front desk manager, Brianna Darby, to discuss this important matter further. Again your comfort and satisfaction are extremely important to us and we value your feedback. Sincerely, Mebs Tejpar GM
Great Place to stay outside of Vancouver. very quiet for being close to the freeway. Staff very helpful and courteous. Room was very clean and all amenities were working. Older hotel but has been kept up for the most part.
We could not have found a more accomdating and service oriented hotel. From the front desk, to the maintenance guy (who we didn't need to anything) to the personal in the breakfast room, service was cheerful, helpful, and friendluy.
I would give this hotel -10 stars if I could. I did not have a credit card for my damage deposit (refused to take my moms). Would not allow my guest that I paid for, would not let me in the room without a credit card and refused to refund my money then was forced to leave. This hotel stole $140 from me and still refuses to refund my money even though I was not even allowed to stay there.
traveling_gourmet_bc, General Manager at Best Western Plus Regency Inn & Conference Centre, responded to this review
We apologize for any inconveniences however as mentioned on our 3rd part sites, a valid credit card that can be authorized is required by our guests at checkin for incidental charges. We were unable to offer any refunds that have been collected in advance by the 3rd part sites, but we can advise them to reverse pre-collected funds. This may require some time to complete and we thank you for your patience Sincerely, Mebs Tejpar GM
Clean, good breakfast, we were in and out, but I'm sure the rest of the amenities would have been satisfactory as well. The room was tidy and the breakfast was hot. I love the waffles. Would be nice if they added another toaster though.
Easy access to the hiway, lots of parking and close to restaurant. Nice breakfast in the mornings that was included with the price of the room. located in the new building with lots of seats or even sit on the patio to enjoy the weather.
We have stayed at this hotel many times and would highly recommend it. The hotel is extremely well managed, staff are professional and courteous, hotel is clean and neat as are the grounds. Breakfast is very, very good and the attached restaurant is a quality family restaurant. Its the best Best Western we have stayed at.
I would recommend Best Western Plus Regency Inn & Conference Centre (Abbotsford) to any and all travelers who are planning a short jaunt or long term vacation to the Fraser Valley of beautiful British Columbia, Canada. We love this place!
Nice place, great staff, breakfast is very good if not full of bus tours. Great bed and little highway noise. Very easy to find from highway. We would definitely recommend this hotel. I am just writing this to make up the two hundred characters that this stupid website requires to finish this survey.
This property was very nice and comfortable,we always stay here when we go to Abbotsford, the staff is very friendly and professional, treat their guests very good.Would highly recommend this hotel. The continental breakfast has a good variety for everyone.
Hotel is good value for your money. The included breakfast is great. Its location is great for anything you need to do in the Frase Valley. Every time we visit friends and family in the Abbotdford area we always choose this hotel.
These hotels offer a crappy breakfast and low quality service making it seem as good standards. I really don't think ugliness is cheaper than beauty. Beauty is pretty affordable if you care. As I was traveling alone I was sent to the secondary building. The main one looked like the palace in the pictures. The secondary one is old. Doesn't seem very safe or protected as people-pleaser travelers open the door for anyone in the un-watched second building. Rooms old and creepy.
The bathtub did not retain water and the air conditioning was poor. The fitness room was very small, there were no free weights and the exercise machines were poor quality. The room was clean though and the breakfast was good. The pool was VERY small.
We stayed in this hotel after tough mudder and it was nice to go to a clean room, comfy bed and a hot tub. I liked that there was a bunch of resturaunts close so we didn't need to drive anywhere after we checked in. We will definitely stay here again.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating when we checked in early because of our flight times. The rooms are clean, but dated-looking and need to be refreshed. The reception area was being renovated, so it looks as though they are beginning to renovate.
Abbotsford is a good stop for those traveling east on the Trans Canada Highway and want to avoid the Vancouver morning rush hour. The Best Western Plus Regency is an oasis from the hub-bub of the TCH. Easily found, with a friendly staff, quiet rooms, and a noteworthy breakfast all offered here.
I have never had real scrambled eggs, french toast and berries presented in a breakfast- I even had the ham which I never eat but everything was so good I could not resist! The breakfast area overlooked a lovely courtyard and friendly staff were there when we needed them.
Didn't use all the amenities available but there were lots of benefits to staying at this hotel. Good restaurant on the property. Good access to the freeway. Comfortable room. Lots of parking spaces. I would definitely stay again.
This motel is well located for anyone travelling to and from the interior of BC. The staff are great the facilities are great need nothing more. We were treated with respect and concern by everyone and they could not do enough for you.
We stayed with a girl's rugby team for two nights in May. Normally I don't stay at hotels like this, I prefer a higher star and more luxury. But with a team, and being in Abbotsford, this was as good as it was going to get. I'll get right to it. The good. Customer service. This hotel was accommodating and friendly. We stayed in ten rooms on the executive side. Everyone was helpful, even when having to ask our team to be more quiet and polite. With 22 girls they did get a bit rowdy and the hotel was fabulous about it. Very patient. Cleanliness. On many levels I had to keep reminding myself I wasn't staying at the Wedgewood downtown Vancouver and that it would be unfair to compare. Cleanliness was not one of those areas. It was a very tidy room. The bed. It was comfy and clean and crisp. The three C's everyone needs. If I were a motorist looking to stay somewhere on a road trip I would definitely stay here. Location. It's right off the highway and minutes from everything in Abbotsford. Especially High Street Shopping centre. The only mall worth going to. The bad. There isn't bad. Honestly. It was nice and the ugly is too bad to just be bad. The ugly. The pool and hot tub. Just a no. It's hideously green and smelly. I was stunned it was so icky. Breakfast. I know you're not supposed to look a gift horse in the mouth but my god. It was fairly awful. Fortunately there are plenty of Starbucks and Tims nearby. My advice, stay here for a quick Abbotsford stay or a team event.
was okay but very noisy hallways till 1am parking was terrible hot tub down in one building construction in other building and checkout lady didn't bother to ask how my stay was. breakfast was great and restaurant nice but expensive
We have stayed three times in the Abbotsford, BC Best Western. We love the clean hotel and the friendly staff and they accommodate for asthma and scent allergies with making room scent free. The outdoor area is great for visiting as well.
Best hotel stay. I've returned several times. The front desk ladies are very helpful and accommodating. I will continue to stay here every time I'm in the area. You get a HOT complimentary breakfast every morning. The rooms are comfortable and clean.
We have just recently started staying at Best Western Plus properties and are extremely pleased with our overall experiences so far. The hotels have been clean and comfortable, and the breakfasts are very good.
Internet was next to useless but everything else was great - very friendly and helpful staff - clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was very good (except weak coffee) with lots of items to choose from - hot (scrambled eggs, bacon) and cold (fruit, cereal, muffins etc) - and comfortable adequate seating - also well planned breakfast times for visiting high school rugby teams.
I always enjoy my stay at BW Plus Regency Inn & Conference Centre, Abbotsford. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Best breakfast buffet of all the BW I visited on my way to Sparwood, B.C. Excellent housekeeping. Rooms are spotless.
Hotel is reasonably priced & includes a decent breakfast. Check in and out was quick, and we were given the room location we requested. There is a good, reasonably priced, family restaurant across the parking lot as well. we've stayed at this hotel a couple of times while visiting family and highly recommend it.
We traveled 12 hours and the hotel was very clean, bed were comfortable and the resturant beside it was amazing! We would recommend this hotel to anyone. Easy to find and didn't hear the traffic. Would stay again.
I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years mainly for business. On occasion staying several weeks at a time. Staff is always attentive and the rooms are well appointed and very clean. There is a nice breakfast included. It is located adjacent to the freeway so if you are concerned with background traffic noise request a room away from the freeway.
Our fifth Best Western on this trip, and very disappointing. The "plus" versions are usually quite upmarket but on arrival, after unpacking our car we were directed to an annexe on the other side of the car park. It was dismal, our room and decor were dismal and it reminded me of a 1980s Super 8.
All in all, it was a pleasant stay. Very few complaints; bed too hard and uncomfortable, but clean and fresh. Bathroom small and cramped, but clean and well fitted with towels, etc. I think it is good value for a one-night stay ...
Quiet clean room with all the necessary amenities supplied. Friendly staff and good housekeeping throughout building. Great location near shopping, restaurants and freeway. Great breakfast selection kept hot and fresh.
Nice Place, I enjoyed the stay. It was completely fine. Nothing outstanding, but no problems or issues either. Affordable and quite nice. I'd recommend it for sure. My only hesitation about staying there again would be how close it is to the freeway. Convenient, but you pay for that convenience with traffic noise.
The Staff was super friendly helpful and professional. If I had any issues it was take. Care of and they were right on top of everything willing to go the extra steps. I stayed a week and couldn't believe the staff and wow what a great team.
This hotel needs to be updated really badly, they also need to accommodate for pet. Price was way to high for what you got. It was in a great area for the sports venue that we were at. Breakfast bar was your typical hotel breakfast bar could have had more selections though.

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel and letting us know your thoughts. We hope that you will consider staying with us in the near future, and allow us to make things right during your next stay with us. Sincerely, Mebs Tejpar, General Manager
Great place to meet family, relax in pool and with an ultra clean hot tub . Fantastic breakfeast very nice room. Been here before will return Super friendly staff that make you feel like home Ps very quiet even with all the sport teams been booked for the week-end
Regency is the best of two options though newer and smaller than the BW across the lot. Has most amenities with a restaurant and lounge across the lot and right off the freeway. Ready access to all areas of Abbotsford and close enough to the US border.
I stayed at this hotel with a sports team this weekend. The hotel it's self is clean and functional and in a great location to access sporting venues. However, this hotel penalizes teams by requiring extensive pre booking and pre paying policy. They do not make it clear that it is next to impossible to cancel or change your reservation with no risk of losing your money. I booked 8 weeks in advance and prepaid. I tried to cancel the second night with 48 hours notice and was told that they could not guarantee me a refund until the room was re sold. The hotel was at 100% occupancy with a line of people at the front desk to try and book a room. I decided to stay as I had paid for the room. The next day the front desk called my cell phone and told me that they had sold my room. This was after "check out" and I had not checked out!!!! I was shocked and refused to vacate the room at this point. I feel sorry for the new guest who now had no room as hotel was over sold!!! My children stay frequently in hotels for sporting events and this has never happened to us before. Sports teams beware. Also, the room rates where not discounted as I found the same room cheaper on the internet.
traveling_gourmet_bc, General Manager at Best Western Plus Regency Inn & Conference Centre, responded to this review
Thank you for choosing our hotel and staying with us this past weekend. We appreciate your kind comments about our location, accessibility, and functionality. For visiting family in Abbotsford, this Best Western continues to serve our needs in the best way. This stay was in the Junior Suite fit our needs for 4 adults and visiting children - to a tee! The staff is always great - even to remembering us on return visits. My first recommendation for Abbotsford, for sure!
We love Best Western hotels because they are consistently clean, have great staff, nice breakfast and on and on. So very much appreciated! However because our stay was on a Friday, and out of town teams were visiting the hotel, the breakfast room was "jammed" with kids and we did not get to enjoy our complimentary breakfast. Also, we are light sleepers . Predictably, with the highway so close, we had a poor nights sleep.
This hotel is close to the airport, is within walking distance to a few amenities, has a very good continental breakfast, and has a Ricky's restaurant across the parking lot. Our room was spectacular and private (Presidential Suite), and we highly recommend this hotel. Kudos to the awesome front desk staff as well!
The hotel staff were all professional and polite. Our room was very nice - clean, comfortable and spacious. There was such a wide range of food on the breakfast buffet and it was very good! We ate at the restaurant connected to the hotel - excellent food and service! We would definitely recommend the Best Western Regency Inn and Conference Centre as a place to stay and we will definitely stay here again!
Had a recent group reservation at the BW Plus for a youth hockey tournament. Hotel property and rooms were clean, breakfast selection was excellent, and staff made an extra effort to accommodate our tourney schedule.
I came for a memorial service and I was given a special rate for that which was nice. The hotel is clean. My room was in a separate building which wasn't a big deal but it was raining when I arrived so that is too bad. My room faced the highway and I didn't know how loud that would be. Had I known, I would have asked for a room NOT facing the highway. It was very loud and I used ear plugs to block out the traffic noise. I had some issues with the young people staying beside me on the last night but I as able to see them and ask them to be quiet and they were respectful. However the property has security that is around and making sure everything is ok.
A very nice hotel. We would definitely stay here again. We weer on our way to a cruise out of Vancouver and this pretty town was the perfect stop-over. And there are two Wal Marts for the shoppers out there.
Staff is very friendly. Breakfast is amazing--not just a continental, it has everything you'd want. Got a good deal (they matched the Expedia price) for a basic room. The view out our particular window wasn't great but that wasn't an issue for us.
Love it.... the place , the breakfast, the friendly staff Sarah who upgraded my room to much bigger for free because I'm a best western member. My kids loved the pool and it's our 2nd time to this hotel.
Great hotel and friendly service. Very nice rooms, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and staff kept selections full. Will definitely use this hotel any time we are in the area and will recommend it.
The entire staff was unsurpassed in both service and caring, the room was clean and nice, bed was comfortable, breakfast was enjoyable and filling. Parking was tight, especially with a little U-haul trailer, but security worked us through that. Lots of construction equipment on site- busy place. I'd stay here again.
My husband and I stayed here for one night. Just a little weekend away to relax. The hotel was very nice. The reception staff were polite, the room was clean and the facilities were good. We did find it a little odd that the hotel is spread over two separate buildings. We stayed in the smaller side with the reception. The pool is smaller on this side but the fitness room was there too so we had all that we needed. The next morning we walked across the car park to the other building for breakfast. The sun was shining so it was a nice way to start the day. However I doubt I would have been as happy if it was raining. The breakfast had lots of options and we enjoyed what we had. We would stay here again.
Bed was VERY comfy, clean room for the most part. I did see 1 hair in the tub. Nice place, loved the lobby had fancy looking stairs. Two different buildings, pool was basic. Right off the hwy which was awesome driving back & forth to langley.
After finding nowhere in Vancouver to stay because the ferry was cancelled at 2 pm and every thing was booked we had to try somewhere else. We made it to Abbotsford late evening and the girl at the front desk was so kind and understanding. She gave us a quiet room and even signed me up for a Best Western card for discounts. The room was fantastic and so clean. The continental breakfast was very good. Would recommend to stay there.
Breakfast was excellent. Hotel was great and price was awesome. Would recommend this hotel to any one. Very helpful front desk staff. Hotel was easy to find and location is excellent. We only stay at Best Western Hotels.
Comfortable bed, pillows and linens!!! Quiet location, easy to access, many amenities including an extensive breakfast bar, Ricky's Restaurant in the hotel for other meals. There is lots of parking outside.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel nice but as another review noted there was a smell that was difficult to tolerate. We stayed two nights, the first was almost intolerable setting off my asthma, but then we found opening the window slightly made an amazing difference so the second night was much better. The bed was on the hard side so neither myself or my husband slept well. If you like a shower, the shower head provides a variety of choices including a powerful spray - loved it. Breakfast review: First day the Western Omelet was very good but the second day the scrambled eggs were so rubbery we couldn't eat them, even though the staff were kind enough to make fresh. Microwaved? Don't know. The second day also had waffles made by the staff and they were cold and rubbery. Very sad but as the staff were so helpful couldn't help but feel they were not given good instruments to provide a top notch breakfast. While the location seemed to be off the beaten path, we found it excellent as we were able to get everywhere we wanted to go within minutes.
I liked the size of the suite, but it had a smell that was difficult to tolerate. The beds were comfortable. I enjoyed the continental breakfast the first day but the second day it was too crowded with visitors from a tour bus. Plus, as the tour group was leaving, they were very noisy in the hallway. I was annoyed with the tour bus running its motor for an extended period of time early in the morning which created a low constant hum in the room that was very annoying.
My husband and I loved staying at this Best Western and we are likely to do so again soon. The hotel lobby is really unique with the large stairway at the entrance. The staff was EXCELLENT, absolutely the friendliest I've ever encountered and they were genuinely nice. It was amazing. We had a small issue with the A/C unit, but it was resolved quickly and totally painlessly. Didn't get a chance to use the pool, but it was nice looking and we'll return for sure.
We recently stayed at the Regency and once again were very happy with our stay. We have found we have a few favorite rooms and the staff were able to get us into one we love. It is our home away from home.
We always look forward to staying at the Best Western in Abbotsford as the staff are very friendly and we have received upgrades on a regular basis. The hotel is easy to find and rooms away from the highway are nice and quiet.
Stayed 2 nights while driving one of the buses on a tour. Really nice place. Good breakfast and really nice rooms. Mine had a king bed which was very comfortable and a small sofa sleeper and microwave and fridge. The room was large and the bathroom was nice. The staff was great and the location was right off the highway and easy to get too.
We stayed there for two night while attending a conference/meeting elsewhere in Abbotsford. Our room was located in in annex but that was a bonus since the breakfast room is located there. Seldom did we have a better free breakfast in a Motel/Hotel. The staff in the breakfast room is friendly, they keep the place super tidy and the selection is awesome, I mean that!
This hotel is well equipped and clean. It is located beside the busy #1 highway to Vancouver so there is the constant sound of traffic. The breakfast was a full hot buffet with everything you could want to start the day. Breakfast is served in a room in an adjacent building which also houses ABC/Ricky's Country Restaurant.
All staff friendly and helpful and very well trained to do it all well. Rooms are always well cleaned. Beds are very comfortable as are the pillows. Good choice at breakfast and there is a complementary national newspaper.
booking.com oversold the hotel and the staff not only found me a room at another hotel but secured the same rate and called me to make sure everything was ok....that made my day!..next time I how to actually stay with then
The location is excellent for just travelling through Abbotsford to get to the US border. The room was comfortable and we slept well on comfortable beds. The restaurant is close enough to walk there. Our arrival and departure was quick and efficient. We would stay here again if travelling through Abbotford.
Definitely would not stay again. Probably one of the worst sleeps I've had in ages. You can hear every single car go by on the highway (louder than you'd think!), and the A/C and heater are also loud, it turns on every 10 mins or so and its just enough to wake you up each time. The staff are excellent, very friendly and helpful but a warning about the noise would have been appreciated, I only got about three hours of sleep before a 12 hour day on the road- I've had better sleeps in my car!
The Regency is located in an excellent place for us, the hotel is very well kept and managed, and the staff are excellent. The breakfast includes a variety of hot and cold options. There are goo restaurants nearby.
Checking out with much reluctance as there is something magical about this place. It has really good energy and rejuvenates me every time I come out here. They even had fresh veggie and dip snacks for the hotel guests - much needed at the end of the day for a healthy end. Loved the hot tub and pool. Went to Rickys next door for their borscht, so convenient to have such a nice eatery with the hotel. Used microwave and fridge to have some quiet meals as well. Already looking forward to coming back to the clean and cosy rooms. Really recommend such an activity for women needing some solitude time. Its safe out here.
This hotel is clean, well stocked, friendly and the staff are very professional. No complaints at all! (The bed was also very comfortable). It's located just off of the Highway, so there is a bit of road noise, but not enough to keep us awake. The breakfast was a great selection, and the waitstaff was so helpful.
Outstanding service, friendly staff, and a delicious complimentary breakfast! There are a number of options now available for breakfast, and the seating area in the breakfast area has also been expanded.
Carpets were dirty, sewer gas coming up thru the bathroom sink. Staff were great & tried to accommodate as best they could. Not a pleasant stay. Breakfast room very good. Restaurant on site was excellent. Was told the remodel would happen soon. Hope so. Great location,Great staff. also all ages can enjoy the castle right next door.
Quick visit with family, clean room, comfortable bed, not as noisy as i thought being near road. Nice breakfast area, enough seating. Check in and out easy, very helpful as we arrived earlier just to see if possible early check in.
Cons: *thin walls so I am glad I have ear plugs so I don't eavesdrop on my neighbours. *Lots of highway noise-duplicate the earplug comment from above. *Hot tub needs replacing or repairs. Jets barely made ripples in water and water was too hot. I did have the jets turned on. Pros: *clean room. *comforyable beds and pillows. *nice room layout. Would I stay again? No. Lots of competition for hotel business so I'd try elsewhere. I had put too much trust in Best Western name.
We were on a road trip across B.C. This best western provided the best rate among the four hotels/motels we stayed on the way in Hope, Merritt, and Kelowna. It was even half of the price of the one in Kelowna. Breakfast is included and the selection for food is worth the value. The seating area is spacious and has floor windows, again the best breakfast compared to other hotels.
Stayed here with the family and were very satisfied. Check in/out was very smooth. Room was clean and comfortable. A little highway noise, not surprisingly given the location, but nothing that impacted our stay. Breakfast was very good, and unlike many hotels, they had sufficient staff on hand to look after it, and make sure things were refilled as necessary. Hotel has two pools, and the one in the building we were in was good, and certainly met our requirements.
My stay at the Best Western was very pleasant and I felt safe staying with my two kids without my husband. I would only suggest changing the check out time at 12noon intead of 11:00am. It makes just a bit more convenient for families with little kids. We are considering coming back soon. Great get away with great amenities for the whole family.
Very clean Hotel friendly staff and good value. Excellent location to HWY 1. Easy to find. Very good Breakfast. Clean room and comfortable beds, Bathroom a little small, parking was well lighted and we encountered no problems.
The Best Western Plus Regency Inn is located just off the #1. I was able to check in early and being a Best Western Rewards member, I got a free upgrade to a jacuzzi suite. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was able to get a late check out also.
My wife and I stopped off here for a night on our way further west. It was very conveniently located, clean, comfortable and friendly staff. OK, it is not a 5* "Waldorf Astoria" so don't expect that; but it is an easy cut above the usual cheap overnighter. We would definitely stay again.
We have stayed in this hotel 2 years in a row. We are a large family so booked the executive suite which has a full kitchen, dining area, lounge with pullout couches, large bedroom with king bed, 4 piece main bath, and the 2nd floor has another queen bed with sofa bed and full ensuite. Located close to enough to the highway for convenience, but no traffic noise, excellent breakfast! There is a Ricky's family restaurant located on the grounds, which was perfect for us. We will definitely stay here every time we visit Abbotsford! Staff are very friendly. Ps... Although the entrance to our room is located right by the main entrance to the hotel, we never found this to be an issue whatsoever.
We have stayed at the BW Regency several times a year for the past several years and are getting to know the staff individually. However, years ago, before I knew anyone's name, I recognized that the BW Regency was a cut above other hotels, and certainly the best hotel in town and probably in the whole to the Abbotsford-Chilliwack area. The place is clean, the household staff is hardworking and professional, the breakfast crew is friendly and wants to serve you, and the desk staff is amazing. If you have a problem, the desk staff will do their utmost to solve it.
This hotel is located just besides rt-1 highway. It is perpendicular to the rt-1 and there is no way to avoid noise at all. When I checked in, I specifically asked for quiet room. However the room they assigned to me had impulse noise almost every car/truck passed through. I found that their windows is not good enough to proof noise. You pay your hotel for sleep not for the rest. If you cannot have a good sleep, it really doesn't matter how good breakfast, clean room and cheap rate. The front desk didn't mention where the breakfast is (another building), no cookies for BW Plus.
I used my points for a night here to go to the Airshow with my boys. I was incredibly happy with all aspects of the hotel. There was a small issue when checking in with redeeming my points but I was not kept long. The property has 2 buildings both with the regular amenities, like breakfast, pool and hot tub. The decor and rooms were in really great shape and super clean. All staff we encountered made a point to ask if we were enjoying our stay and asking if there was anything we needed. Breakfast was great with many options, the pool was fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel!
I was disappointed with this hotel for the price. It's a nice hotel but not what I was looking for. The hotel is right beside a school and there is only one restaurant within walking distance. The parking lot is small, being a truck driver that has to use a Semi it was a tight fit. There are 3 building associated with this property. The furthest building is were breakfast is. I can get a better deal at the BW Country Meadows in Aldergrove (10Kms away) and it has everything I need within walking distant from the hotel. We only tried this hotel because the company that we drive for relocated to Abbotsford from Aldergrove, so we thought we would give it a try.
The hotel was under renos so it bothered us a little. The location was nice enough and the staff tried their best under these conditions. I would not go back there as there was not anything special about this particular location. However, for just a nights stay and still close enough to attractions etc. It was fine. The hotel was clean and it was reasonable.
After a long evening at the ferry terminal it was nice to enjoy a quiet night before getting back on the road towards alberta. The beds were very comfy and free breakfast to boot. great deal I would definitely stay again given the opportunity.
We flew into Vancouver and had an easy drive, super easy to find arrival at BW. Smooth and friendly check in, lots of parking. There are two buildings, we were in the one opposite the reception area. There is a restaurant on site which is really good, large servings, great service. Anyway, check in was easy and we found the room to be large and quiet, comfortable beds, nice bedding. The room was clean and updated. I worried about noise from the room above but we had none. The breakfast was one of the better hotel breakfasts I've had. Nice selection. Great stay
We enjoyed our 3 nights stay here as our base for visiting the Vancouver area. This was the closest reasonably priced hotel that we could find at the height of the busy tourist season. It was a bit of a drive but not bad except during rush hour traffic. Just time your drive to avoid this. This hotel was very comfy and the staff very helpful even during busy times. Breakfast was very satisfactory. Would definitely stay here again.!
Our room (1 king bed) was clean, comfortable and quiet. There is a mini fridge and microwave in the room. In-room coffee isn't very good but the coffee in the lobby was better and there is a free breakfast including the usual cold items, plus eggs, a hot meat and either pancakes, waffles, french toast, served in the building across the parking lot. You will probably want to drive to restaurants for other meals. There is a restaurant (Ricky's) on the same lot, but the food was not good there. During our stay, trays of snacks were put out at around 5pm, in the lobby, to welcome guests, which we really appreciated. Staff at the desk was great, very helpful and friendly. There is a pool and hot tub. Hotel is not far from the airport and just a bit off the transCanada highway but still quiet at night. We used Aeroplan miles for a free stay.
Comfortable stay with good beds and aircon after a beautiful drive through the last part of the Rockies on the way to Vancouver. Our bathroom was tiny - just a loo and bath with shower overhead. Staff were very friendly and the facilities clean and tidy. Free WiFi. The meal at the onsite restaurant was good, down home style, comfort food and delicious - and very reasonably priced. Breakfast was sufficient - cereal, pastries, scrambled egg and bacon. Juices, tea and coffee.
We stayed here last night as a last minute stop after passing through an awful inn in Surrey. The staff on the phone were very pleasant and accommodating. Our stay at this hotel was great, the room was beautiful and the hotel was very well kept and clean. The hot breakfast in the morning was unbelievable and staff were around to always stock things up. The pool and the hot tub were clean and quiet. We had one little bump in this stay and without even complaining, the staff offered us a 25$ gift card .. would definitely recommend staying here!
We find this a great place to stay when visiting Abbotsford. Rooms are clean and staff is very friendly. They were especially helpful in the breakfast room with our 5 grandchildren, all of whom are under 8. Pools are both small but we were the only ones using them - don't think they get used very often.
My family and I stayed at this hotel for 1 night only using aeroplan points. The hotel is beautiful and very quiet. Check in clerk was exceptional and very friendly. Didn't use the pool at all and the breakfast was plentiful and was restocked frequently. Would definitely recommend and we would stay here again when in the area.
Needed a quiet get away and am so happy we chose this hotel. Nothing fancy, no "exciting tours you MUST try!". No rockin' bar or loud party people. Just a clean, quiet couple of days free from obligation and stress. The beds were wonderfully comfortable, the room was clean, breakfast was delicious and the attached restaurant was fantastic. Every staff member we encountered helped to make our stay pleasant and care-free. We had a pool, hot tub, free breakfast, great restaurant on site, clean room and helpful, kind staff ~ what more can one ask for?
I love staying at this hotel. A great location to break up a trip back from BC Interior to Vancouver Island. Very professionally managed, clean, quiet, value for my money spent! The breakfast provided is great with wonderful staff. The rooms are well laid out, clean, quiet, restful! The Ricky's Restaurant is excellent food and great staff. Overall very professional and friendly operation. I will return for sure!
Hotel was great. Staff was knowledgeable and full of smiles. Cycled the Discovery Trail which proved a worthwhile venture for its beauty and diversity. Dined at the Townhall Public House which is one of our favourites for is large selection of craft beer on tap.
Super friendly staff, extremely helpful. Rooms were clean. Beds super comfy. Breakfast was just ok for us, but kind of what I expect from a complementary breakfast. Would definitely stay there again, but
We did not book until the last minute - and were shocked to pay $480 including taxes for 2 nights for a glorified motel along the freeway. We checked in late after visiting a relative nearby, and were assigned a room at the south end of the annex - the closest room to the TransCanada highway - and suffered road noise all night. The room had a funky smell when we first arrived - perhaps strange clean products or just not well ventilated. We have been loyal Best Western customers for years and don't enjoy it when they jack their prices up - in this case because the BC Summer Games were happening in the area.
We were very disappointed that the Hotel felt it necessary to increase the rate by 205% within 6 days just because the BC Summer Games were in town. We know hotels are in business to make money - 100% is feasible but 200 plus%? This was also the only hotel from Chilliwack to Abbotsford that had 3 rooms available - go figure. For this reason we will look at any other alternative in the area other than the Best Western - which we did.
Definitely recommend. Room was better than expected. Had an issue with a light in bedroom; staff attended to this straight away. We were very tied after a long trip to get here so we ordered room service, the meal was great - real home cooking and just what we needed. My only negative would be the breakfast - not a lot of choices compared to other Best Western's we have stayed at.
We atayed for 2 nights in a room with 2 queens - very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was standard, but they had fresh fruit, which was nice. Go early because when we went at 9 am, there was no where to sit. Earlier, there was no problem. The room was clean and had everything we needed except a make-up mirror.
There is only one thing I can't say enough. the beds are awesome!!!!!!!!! I was willing to overlook almost anything else (not that we had any issues) when I sat on that bed. Seriously I want find out exactly what they have and tell every hotel to just duplicate it so I can be assured of a great sleep no matter where I go. Pillows were just ok but the bed, aaahhhhh. Room was a large king size with kitchenette and separate bathroom. Well appointed, tv had movies on demand. Desk area and chair. Very comfy and quiet. It was a busy weekend with the summer games on. Staff was amazing, very helpful and accommodating. Restaurant just across parking lot is just basic fair. They have a free breakfast but we didn't make it as seriously we slept in in the amazing beds. LOL. Bathroom was good, water hot, pressure good and no "stinging ray of death" shower head. Overall a ten.
Room was clean, well-appointed and comfortable. The bathtub is of a shape and size that one can actually enjoy a bath in it. Bed was comfortable. Pillows were too firm for me, but I travel with my own. Yes, the air conditioning is loud, as some other guests have noted. Staff were friendly and for the most part, efficient. The complimentary breakfast is pretty bare bones - one morning of our three-night stay we fled to the on-site restaurant for a proper hot meal - but it's good if you're on a budget/in a hurry and aren't looking for anything fancy.
We stayed for 1 night with 2 queens. The hotel is just off highway 1 on the Clearwater street e it, excellent location. It is a 5 minute drive to south Fraser where there is shopping and lots so services and restaurants. The beds are great, very clean and nice size tub with shower. Wifi is included. A continental breakfast was included, good selection of pastries, fruit, cereal, juice and coffee. The ham and eggs were not great but overall is was nice to have. The price was really good compared to Vancouver. I would definitely stay here again.
Outstanding service, would absolutely stay again. All staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make stay amazing. The morning breakfast was great! The room was nice, decorated nicely and had everything that you needed, really nice hotel to stay at. I will absolutely stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. Thank you for a great stay!!
The highway noise was too loud to leave the window open but the a/c was too loud to leave it closed. The rooms were nicely renovated but the hotel still suffers from old hotel syndrome in the plumbing. The shower drifts between too hot and too cold. Staff very good. Price reasonable. The breakfast sandwich option was a nice change. I would stay further off the highway next time.
Stay was good. Room was basic. Pool was small. Staff was friendly. Said there main feature was there morning breakfast. Was not the greatest. Was no food when I went to dish up so had to wait and was not a great selection. Price was fair. Liked how hotel was just off the main road.
Looking for a quick change of plans after our accommodation plans didn't pan out (another motel was a dump) but the counter staff at the best west called around and found us a room AT A COMPETITOR!! Talk about excellent service!! Very impressed!
Staff was friendly, rooms were clean. Was pretty when you first walked in. The hotel has two pools. The one we went to was very small, but did the trick since we were the only ones in it. They had a continental breakfast in the morning which was nice but the Food was ok, you can have cereal, toast, eggs, slice of ham, French toast. Also has coffee, orange juice, apple juice. Had a good sleep.
Excellent mid-range hotel....always immaculate and staff organized and friendly. The on site restaurant is very good. The separate breakfast provided by the hotel is not 'luxurious' but is certainly more than adequate with a good choice of cafeteria type items.
I shouldn't write this review but honesty was always my down fall. This place we have been before and suggest to hockey teams going to the area great for team gatherings the two building layout and easy accessibility make it great destination. Its tucked away but yet on the highway. Only issue is the odd door set up on the second building an issue that needs to be addressed. However beds are comfortable and rooms clean staff is friendly, cost is affordable. Worth it to keep a team happy, plenty of places to eat on and offsite, shopping near by. This time we went as a couple and same this thing we enjoyed the stay.
I just stayed a couple nights but the hotel was nice. The decor is dated but it was clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable and the staff was friendly. The complimentary breakfast was very good in a nice eating area.
Had to make a reservation change close to arrival. Kind and friendly staff made it happen when they didn't have to. They went above and beyond what I expected and I have to thank all the front end staff including the manager. Got to the hotel and had been upgraded to a jacuzzi suite which was amazing. Comfy beds, clean rooms. Would definitely recommend staying here!
We had to delay our stay two times with this hotel due to circumstances beyond our control. Each time, they understood kept changing the date with no extra fees. The day we checked in, they upgraded us to the best room in the facility - the jacuzzi suite. Very impressed. It pays to be a rewards card member and be polite to the hard working people in the hospitality industry. Thanks!
Reception was very friendly and prompt. Was put in building 2 which has the breakfast in it. You can access the hotel easily from the freeway, but it can be a "little" noisy because of being near the freeway. All in all, a nice, comfortable and pleasant stay.
Travelling with my daughter for surgery, the staff at the BW were incredible at making us feel at home, went above and beyond to be helpful and surprised us with an upgrade. It took the stress out for the trip for all of us. Thank you so much!!
While touring BC on a motorcycle we stopped in Abbotsford to visit a friend and stay for the night. Was upgraded to a suite so the room was super great!! This location was really and close to everything. The hotel staff and security was also very nice and professional. The free breakfast was in my view above average with many selection from hot to cold. Room came with full cable access and Wifi. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area.
Needed a quick but pleasant stopover and we got it. Good price, nice room, comfy bed, filling breakfast. The hotel does a nice job of decor making it an inviting place to be. I don't really notice this unless the place is dated so for it to catch my eye was interesting. I need a comfy bed and this place delivered. Very soft, pillows full, also liked that our king bed was completely around a corner and little hallway light or noise entered. The heat/cooling was quiet though we turned it off, wasn't needed. Breakie was yummy, plenty of options, presented and cooked well. A bathroom in the breakie area was a nice touch. We had a room near the highway and to my surprise I heard nothing from it. The annoyances were minor but notable. A screw missing from a light, a wall fixture covering out of place, and the room darkening blinds, though correct for the room, didn't completely cover the alcove thus it was not the dark dark type room I like. The one that baffled me was the room above me. The man, yes man, got up early and was obviously doing normal getting ready stuff, and I could hear him go to the bathroom and relieve himself... Very clearly. It didn't bother me a ton, thought it was actually amusing, but very surprised I could hear that so clearly. Still, a really nice night, I'd go back in a heartbeat, really good hotel in my opinion.
Not much positive to say, I'm afraid. Stayed in building #2, and there was an awful stench in the hallways. The room itself was musty, with no circulation. The beds were old and lumpy, the pillows very hard. The bathroom was tiny. The breakfast buffet was large, but after trying a cinnamon bun that was several days old, I lacked the courage to try anything else. My wife may have had the best quote: "How do you f--- up jarred salsa?" I guess if you set your mind to it....
Based on my last best western visit in another city, I did not have high expectations for this stay. I was pleased when my expectations were exceeded, tenfold. Checkin was quick, easy, and staff was very friendly. The room was very nice and comfortable. There was nothing negative about our stay at all. I would certainly stay here again, and will be recommending it.
Had a great Bed & Breaky after a great wknd in Ashcroft, filled with horsebacking riding..so enjoyed the hot tub, pool & hot shower and comfy beds...early morning breaky, and a short drive to Abbotsford Airport..close to restaurants..lots of great choices in Sushi restaurants..very pleased..friendly staff..clean & quiet room..motel of choice every time we have early morning flight..
My husband and I enjoy this hotel and will stay there again. Each time we come, we get value for our money, and completely enjoy our stay. The breakfast, especially, is very enjoyable, with a lot of variety and just real, good food.
Nice hotel that certainly deserves its popularity. Close to highway but noise not really a factor. The only area needing improvement is the breakfast which is one of the poor e st we've seen. Tea should also be provided in rooms! Despite these minor concerns a recommend.
Spent 6 nights here. We were not in the main building but in the building that adjoins the restaurant. The breakfast was great, the staff serving it made you feel welcome. The little patio off the area where they serve breakfast was very nice - we only used it once since the other days it rained or was too cool. The room itself looked a wee bit "tired", the bed and bedding were comfortable but the couch needed replacing and the rug could use some updating. When walking down the hall and into the room you could smell faint traces of smoke from the years when smoking would've been allowed. The TV was very disappointing, in this day and age of HD TV it's quite surprising that it was not available. WiFi was okay but slow at times. Adjoining restaurant is wonderful. We would stay here again.
We spent only one night there, but as a travellers motel it is very nice. I don't know that I would want a week there, but for one or two nights it is almost unbeatable. Two large comfortable beds, nice TV (although for one night perhaps superfluous), very quiet rooms, no sound of running water, conversations or closing doors. We were quite late but still able to access the pool and hot tub (a very big deal to our grandson) and in the morning a good continental breakfast. Staff were great and appeared concerned for our comfort. Parking was acceptable, small booths for full sized North American vehicles and I am not big on the idea of the reception area in different building. Minor quibbles, I would stay there again and based on this motel I will stay at other Best Western Plus venues.
I stayed for 2 nights to be close to the airport. It was a disappointment after the Best Western in Chilliwack. Will not recommend to anyone. The Service Staff was very helpful but the hotel itself is not what I expect from Best Western Plus!
Our trip through Canada gave us many stops at motels along the way. This one was terrifically great. Most Best Western hotels seem to be "basics only". This one was terrific for us. We had a ground floor room a few feet from the front desk and about 20 steps from covered parking. What a great surprise. Everything worked as it should. Internet, faucets, drains, showers, and TV all functioned without distracting acceptance of flaws. The enthusiasm of the staff on check in was great. The bed was comfortable.

Totally satisfied with the stay at this location. Highly recommend for the price conscious shopper. The restaurant adjoining the hotel is amazing. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the internet worked flawlessly.

The staff make customers priority one. The rooms are very comfortable. The pool, fitness room and breakfast can satisfy anyone's needs. Location is great. ALWAYS our 'go to' place in Abbotsford. If I can suggest one thing - it would be for the hot breakfast food items to be a little hotter.

We strive to consistently be improving in order to maintain a high level of satisfaction for our valued guests. Thank you for letting us know, and we look forward to seeing you again! Sincerely, Brianna Darby, Front Office Manager
This hotel did not live up to the PLUS level in our opinion. Little things like highway noise, breakfast in different building, clock not set right and unable to figure out how to re-set and a bathroom door that banged into the closet each time it was left ajar. Front desk staff great, comfortable bed, clean & nice pool. Only minutes from the airport so very convenient. Eat

Thank you for taking the time to let us know your thoughts. We apologize that you did not find our property met your expectations, and we appreciate you letting us know these areas we might need some improvements in! We apologize that there were several avoidable maintenance concerns that caused some inconvenience during your time with us, as well as an issue with persistent highway noise. However, we are so pleased that you enjoyed the exceptional service provided by our Front Desk staff members, a comfortable bed, convenient location, and that you were able to enjoy our pool. We hope that you will allow us to correct some of the areas you found us lacking, and invite you to contact our Front Desk Manager, Brianna Darby so that we can make things right. We hope to see you again soon. Sincerely, Mebs Tejpar, General Manager
My sister and I went to an event at the Abbotsford Centre this past Sunday and stayed over night at the Best Western Plus on Marshall Road. Lovely hotel, staff members were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spotless and comfortable with great working air conditioner, it was very hot on Sunday but our room was the perfect temperature. Breakfast was included with it. There was french toast, scrambled eggs, sausages, hot and cold cereal, toast, bagels, muffins, tea biscuits, fresh fruit, tea and coffee. I booked through Expedia and got a very good rate. I would highly recommend this Facility. It also have a conference centre, swimming pool and jacuzzi.

We are also pleased that alongside an excellent rate, you were able to enjoy our various amenities including our swimming pool and hot tub, complimentary hot breakfast with varied and delicious items, as well as wonderful service from our various staff departments. We hope to be able to welcome you again during your next trip through the area! Sincerely, Leanna Pankratz, Guest Services
There are two Best Western hotels in Abbotsford, this one was chosen because of its quiet location in a residential area, across from a school. A bonus is that there is a family restaurant on site. The hotel is older, but well taken care of. Very large comfortable room assigned which included a queen bed, pull out sofa bed, kitchenette. Breakfast was excellent with hot and cold foods, served in a cheery room. Travelling alone, I felt very safe and secure in this hotel.
Stayed in the "Presidential" Suite. It was amazing. Lots of room and had everything we needed for a great night. At check in we dealt with Amanda, she was so helpful and kind and we got a late check out offered to us. The breakfast was great as well. Lots of options.
Comfortable beds and clean rooms with an excellent breakfast considering it is included in the price. The front desk staff were friendly and provided directions to where we were heading in Abbotsford and explained about the parking in the city. Check in and out was swift and pleasant. I would certainly stay here again if I need to be in Abbotsford.
My husband and I checked into this hotel and we were given an upgrade to a suite which was very appreciated. We had lunch at their on site restaurant which was very convenient and good. The hotel itself was very nice and clean we will stay there again
Three buildings, two parking lots so you wander around to find a check in, then wander around to find the ice machine, pool, and breakfast is only located in one building so you walk through the parking lots to get to it, not enough seating so then you either wait for seating or wander back to your room with a crapload of dishes. Pool was tiny, every noise echoed so can't relax in hot tub. Plus more expensive than other Best Westerns in the area, not worth it!
This is the second time we have stayed here. Pleasantly surprised at getting a free upgrade into really, really nice room. Pristine clean, roomy, nicely appointed. Exceeded our expectations. All the staff--front desk, housekeeping, waitstaff at breakfast---were so welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was very good...a handsome variety to choose from. Very good price for the package. This will definitely be on our list next time we visit our Canadian brethren from the States! This gets our top-notch recommendation!
Recently stayed here and received a free upgrade to a king suite. Very clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. They offer a pretty decent complimentary hot breakfast too. There's a hot tub but work kept me out of hot water. Next time. Easy to get to and close to many places. I'd stay here again.
One of the things that I always ask for is a quiet room, and the room they gave us on the 2nd floor definitely met that requirement - except for the air conditioner. When it cut in for the first time, I thought it was a big truck running outside, but we just ran it until we went to bed and then shut it off. The room was clean and inviting. The bed was very comfortable with a nice duvet and lots and lots of pillows. The internet was free and fast. They offer a free breakfast with the room, but it's pretty simple fare. We ended up going out for breakfast to the attached restaurant. The staff at the front desk were very professional, attentive, cheerful and helpful. They let us check in well before the regular check in time. Check in and Check out went without a hitch - in and out both times in under 5 minutes. The only downside was how small the counter for the sink is, so it made it difficult to get ready in the morning - we had to take turns. But other than that, we had a pleasant stay and are booked to spend three more nights there a week after our first visit.
Spent three days over Mother's Day weekend recently. The room was clean, very comfortable. They had a very good breakfast and even a grab bag for our last morning when we had to leave early before breakfast room was ready. Left a note for the maid that we weren't fond of Decaf Coffee. That evening we had handful of regular coffee. The front desk managed to scrounge up some real glass wineglasses (rather than plastic cups). They didn't match but we appreciated the effort. Would definitely recommend.
I've stayed in this hotel for 1 night and was very satisfied with it. Unfortunately I arrived late in the evening and wasn't able to use their indoor pool or fitness center. However, hot breakfast in the morning was very sufficient and they honored my late check out by 1 hour, which was very much appreciated. All in all it was a nice quiet room where I was able to get great sleep and rest before my journey continued to the next destination
We were very pleased with this hotel. Accommodations were clean and very comfortable, location was great, breakfast was great (they even have gluten free bread if you ask), and veryeasy to get to from the highway. Two additional restaurants on site made meeting family and visiting very easy. We got a special Internet rate and best Western upgraded it with a match. Recommended stay most definately
This was our first stop on our drive to Alaska. Got in late, the check in process was easy, the room was great and the breakfast in the morning was delicious. From the hotel it was an easy entrance on to the highway for our next destination, Dawson City.
I am a part of a group event that chooses this hotel every year. That is no accident. they take such great care of us and truly make us feel at home. The hotel is very well maintained by Bart and Mike, our group reservation is always accurate and painless thanks to Kim and Rebecca, and the entire front desk staff are helpful, friendly and efficient. Not to mention how great the breakfast is and how hard the girls work to make it so. I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else in Abbotsford. Thanks again everyone!
Upon check in we noticed our room had an old musty smell. After notifying the front desk, they were quick to relocate us to another room, which was much better. The front desk staff were very friendly during our entire stay! Great customer service! A good selection of options for breakfast. The hotel wasn't quite as expected based on photos. It's two separate buildings. The hotel is right off the highway, so if noise bothers you, be sure to ask for a room not facing the highway.
very much enjoyed my stay although brief. as close to the highway i found no road noise was apparent . Breakfast was simple and enjoyable I would recommend to this property to other business travelers and families.
My husband, son and I stopped at the Best Western for one night to help cut our travel time home down. We had been traveling for 6 days and were all very tired. Sarah helped check us in and actually upgraded our room for us. She explained where the pool was, all about their delicious breakfast, and gave my son a puzzle that had been left in a room months ago. The hotel was very clean and the free buffet breakfast was delicious. Even the coffee was good! We will be staying there again!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Best Western hotel. It was clean, and quiet, the staff friendly and the location was readily accessible for our needs. The breakfasts were good with a nice selection to choose from. The dining area was clean and the staff were quick to replace items that needed replenishing.
We really enjoyed this hotel. It was a good price, the room was neat and clean, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff was excellent. It is located right beside the highway, so really close to the main road, which was nice. Also, it was 10 minutes from the Abbotsford Airport, which was great for us, since we were flying out from there. There are a few restaurants close by. The ONLY complaint I had was the road noise. But it's that steady kind of noise that's easy to fall asleep to, so it didn't cause any major inconvenience. We would definitely stay here again.
Due to renovations in our condo, we needed a nice place to call home for three days. Our first incentive to going to the Best Western was our BCAA awards. We were treated very well by all the staff. The room was comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was a delight very morning. Thank you. You made our weekend!
The Regency Inn in Abbotsford, B.C. is always very consistent & a pleasure to stay at.The staff always make you feel welcome & go above & beyond to accommodate you. The Breakfast Ladies(Kelsey & Joan)are very pleasant to deal with first thing in the morning and always ensure that you are satisfied.Never have they run out of food!! When we requested a Late Check Out due to our late departing flight,Sarah at the Front Desk was more then willing to offer us a 1:00pm check out at no additional charge. This is why we always come back to this property and will continue to stay here!!
This was my 9th year staying at the Best Western Plus Regency Inn for an event and I though the service could not get better. But year over year the staff astound me!!! Aside from the hotel being very clean and very comfortable the customer service is second to none! Many thanks to Kim, Rebecca, Rose, Bart, Mike the list could go on forever. You make our stay every year a memorable and enjoyable one. Looking forward to next year!
I stayed 1 night in room 106 on ground floor in main building. Pros: bed and pillows soft and comfortable. Microwave in room. TV new and large. Breakfast was plentiful and some good choices. Towels were soft. Liked the shampoo, conditioner and soap. Cons: I could hear road noise through window from freeway. Window lock was broken, as was the shower valve so couldn't turn water off properly. Check in and check out were efficient. Breakfast attendants were friendly and helpful. Lots of parking available. Would stay again but would check room before and ask for higher floor.
This was a great stay, staff was wonderful, short and quick as I'd booked online, and when we got there, it was fast checking in. We had a great breakfast the next morning, and the beds were very comfortable! I will certainly stay here again.
My group stayed at this hotel for our weekend trip and it was the first time we had been to Abbotsford. We were welcomed by Sarah the hotel front desk staff and she made sure we had everything we needed. We had our free breakfast and kelsey one of the serving staff made sure I got everything I needed for my gluten free needs both mornings. Great service, we will return to this hotel.
Hubby & I stayed attended a ZZTop concert in Abbotsford. We didn't book a hotel until we got here hoping to get a screaming last minute deal!! We booked through hotels.com and got the room cheaper than booking at front desk with AAA! Hotel is close to almost everything you would need. Our concert venue was only a 10 minute drive away. Hotel was quiet & friendly. Room was clean & comfortable. Continental breakfast looked like a huge hit for everyone it was packed. Would be nice to see gluten free options other than juice, coffee & yogurt. Coffee wasn't very tasty looks like syrup mixed with water vs freshly brewed....but hey if that's my only complaint ?? Would definitely stay again!
Excellent location just off the highway. Great customer service from the check in to the check out. Restaurant next door had very good food as well as great service. We would definitely stay at this hotel again
Loved it! The rooms were big and clean. The pool was lovely and clean. The location was great, right on the highway, and close to local restaurants. Only drawback was all of the disposable dishes, both at breakfast and in the room.
All my guests were pleased with the service and had nothing but good things to say about their experience. The rooms were amazing and very clean. The Staff was very helpful and friendly. The location was awesome and the hot breakfast was Delicious. Having a conference center at the Inn helped me a great deal during my wedding as I was able to host my guest and hold my pre-wedding festivities inside the conference center. The staff did an amazing job setting up the conference center. My overall experience was wonderful and I would highly recommend staying here.
First time at Best Western... My family and I have chosen this hotel to celebrate my birthday, and our choice was right! Very clean and quiet place, very spacious and comfortable room, very friendly and responsive employees. My special request was accommodated by the management in no time, and I appreciate it very much. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family, and would stay there again myself. :) Leonard M., Journalist.
Was amazing price for what they offer. Amazing everything really besides the rude woman working at front desk when we stayed there. When we checked in she had something rude to say to every comment we made. She asked where we were from so we told her and than bashed our hometown by saying "oh your from there I know how that place is" as she rolled her eyes. She also acted as though we were extremely poor because we were paying with cash not a card. I just remember the conversation with her being sarcastic and rude.
I gave this hotel a second chance because manager replied to my first review inviting me to try again. I requested a room in main building this time. Was much quieter and I had good night's sleep every night. Room was clean and comfortable. Free breakfast fully stocked and good. Exercise room clean and stocked. Easy free parking and central location. Would stay again.
We lost power during the big wind storm, and had to stay the night in Abbotsford. Brianna the manager gave us an excellent rate...even though it was a last minute booking, and even offered us a complimentary upgrade on our room! When we arrived, the suite was more than we ever could have expected! The pools and hot tubs were a huge hit with my daughter and young grandson, and the FREE buffet breakfast had so many delicious options. I would definitely return to this hotel again, and would recommend this property to anyone ! If I could give bonus stars, I would because they all made a stressful day so much better!! Thank you Brianna, and everyone at the best western plus regency inn for such incredible hospitality! ?
A little noisy near highway, breakfast was nice in the am, but hotel was extremely strict with the smallest amount of noise. Pool was murky and not clean likely do to a full hotel full of kids. Overall decent.
Stayed with a youth sports team. Property has a stand alone unit with breakfast area and pool. Double queens in the rooms. Microwaves and mini fridges in the rooms. Jr suite has a full kitchen and a separate room. Very nice. Breakfast area is large and clean. Friendly staff.
The hotel has water damage throughout the hotel. I complained after check in they moved me to another room and another room. All having equal or more water damage to walls floors even framed pictures had water damage all i took photos of. When i complained to the front desk they stated they have no idea why the rooms smell like wet dog. When i was placed in my last room i called down and asked for the manager to call me i was informed her name was Brianna and she would call me at 0700 the next morning as I was leaving at 0730 the manager called at 0800 after I had left on business for the day. This is not what I expect from a Best Western property. I stay at other Best Western properties on a bi weekly basis and have never experienced the low to no level of customer service of the Best Western Regency Abbotsford BC I would suggest travellers stay anywhere but at this property.
traveling_gourmet_bc, General Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Regency Inn & Conference Centre, responded to this review
Thank you so much for choosing our hotel in Abbotsford and for your recent review of our property. We were a little confused to read your comments as our hotel does not have any water damage. The photos that have been taken show our wall paper which has two tones and is part of the design. We have been in the rooms that you were placed in and were unable to find any issues that were mentioned. I invite you contact Brianna, our Front Desk Manager so that we can clarify any issues that you encountered. Our hotel strives to maintain very high customer service standards, so we certainly want you to be confident in our product and once again invite you to contact us. Sincerely, Mebs Tejpar General Manager
Stayed there because I was working an event at Tradex. For that the location is excellent. Overall I was disappointed. I've stayed at other Best Western Plus and this one is not a Plus. Fitness room was cramped and tiny. 3 cardio and on weight machine which didn't work properly. Hotel is in two buildings and I was in the older of the two. Smell musty and the décor is cheap and dated. If I was staying at a Motel 6 it would have met my expectations but overall it was disappointing. I got a good rate so that made up for it a bit. Hotel staff were nice and helpful.
The room itself was excellent, if a bit oddly laid out upstairs bedroom, dresser and tv are way off to the side and the hide-abed is in this room instead of the living room downstairs, We stayed two nights Saturday night was excellent no noise everything was good. Sunday night however was a different story, You could hear lots of noise; banging and creaking, the noise was coming from the office right besides the suite. The noise was enough that it woke us a number of times through out the night. Also a side note, is that they do not have a pile of parking and we had a hard time finding a spot.
We had a great night. There were no problems. We sort of had a little get together in one of the rooms with no complaints even though sometimes our voices were a bit loud. We liked the location. There is a restaurant on site and the freeway is near by but yet we couldn't hear the traffic.
This is a quality hotel with terrific staff in a great location. A five minute drive from beautiful Mill Lake Park, and shopping with terrific highway access. The restaurant has comfort food like grandma used to cook. The breakfasts have variety and are tasty. When you reserve ask for a room that is not on the highway side.
We were only at the Best Western Plus for one night, but were well taken care of. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. We had everything we needed. Breakfast offered a variety of tasty items. The internet service was fast and easy to get on to.
This is the best hotel in the Abbotsford area. It's clean and well-run. I have stayed in this hotel many times over the past 5 years and have never had a serious problem. All hotels should be so well run!
My wife booked the hotel room, at the Best Western Plus Regency in Abbotsford, BC. On the booking, we requested a "quiet room", as the hotel is located beside the freeway and we have stayed there before. Upon arrival, despite on our booking saying that check-in time was 2:00, we were told we couldn't book in until after three. That was inconvenient, but when we eventually returned and went to our room, we were given probably the worst room, right beside the highway. So we then had to go back to get a room that we could get some sleep in. The new room appeared satisfactory, but in the evening we could hear the occupants in the room above us, every time they moved. To make matters worse, the fire alarm went off at 4:30 AM. After evacuating the building, the local fire department arrived and gave the all clear about half an hour later. It turned out to not be a fire, but a hot water leak, possibly poor maintenance? We were not given an apology or much of an explanation when we checked out. We have stayed there before a number of times, but are uncertain that we will do so again.
The staff at check in and check out was excellent. Fast friendly and very helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was a very good value with a good selection of food. The pool was a hit with my Grandchildren.
Like this hotel, close to the freeway and was halfway on our trip home. Excellent restaurant next to the hotel and the rooms in the hotel are well appointed. Front desk staff helpful and accommodating when I asked for and upgrade.
Outstanding service, super friendly staff, super clean and well decorated rooms. Comfortable bed. Excellent services - pool area also very clean and enjoyable. Food was good and we were recommend this hotel to anyone.
Had a nice two day stay here this week. The room was very clean, spacious and well appointed. I liked all the plugs by the bed and plenty of lights. The free breakfast was as good as you could expect! Next time I'll ask for a room towards the parking lot instead of the freeway.
We used this hotel as our home base for our fishing trip. Room 308 The room has a king sized bed with four pillows and two in the closet. There is an armchair in the room, a desk and office chair along with two night tables and a stand that the television sits on. This stand has three drawers, and holds the microwave, ice bucket and fridge. The fridge leaves a lot to be desired. The fridge is very small with only one self and the freezer portion continues to leak therefore the tray inside always has water on it. Bathroom - the sink is outside the bathroom but separate from the main bedroom. The tub and toilet are in one room separately. The lamps within the room I appreciate the convenience as each has two outlets at the base along with two light switches for two different lighting options. The outlets are great for plugging one's cellphone or other items requiring charging. The window looks out onto the backyards of the homeowners behind. There is some traffic noise when the window is left open. The screen is not the proper screen for the window therefore they have inserted long screws into the frame of the screen to “center” it within the opening. Breakfast is included in the price of the room. The breakfast room is in another building. There was plenty to choose from. No waffle machine but that was no issue. They did serve bacon, hash brown patties, scrambled eggs, and one had an assortment of breads to choose from. There was a cold breakfast area that included cereals, yogurt, and such. There is a workout room, pool and hot tub. No comments about these as I did not use these this time around.
We had to come to Abbotsford on short notice because my dad had an accident and was in the hospital. My boyfriend, my brother and I had to drive through the night from Prince George and we anticipated that we would arrive around 5-6 am. I called several hotels in the area from the car. Originally we had settled on another hotel that was slightly cheaper than the Best Western and assured us that they would not charge us for a full night as we would be arriving so late. However, the roads were much better than we thought they would be for winter and we got in around 330 am instead. The original hotel informed us that they would have to charge us for the night. So we decided to give the BW Regency another call. Nina was extremely helpful and friendly. We explained our situation and she was very sympathetic. Nina didn't charge us for that night and gave us a special hospital rate. As well, she offered us to go breakfast bags just in case we slept in and missed the continental breakfast provided. She also put us in a quiet room so that we wouldn't be disturbed. Nina made our stressful situation that much easier and we really appreciate her hospitality. Thanks from Melissa, Travis and Jared.
Very nice hotel - but guests need to book the free airport shuttle 2-3 days in advance. Unfortunately this information is not included on their website so I was not expecting to have to pay for a taxi ride to the Abbotsford airport. Guests however, are entitled to a flat rate of $12.00.
Helpful friendly staff, a great room for socializing (The Presidential Suite) and a great meeting room for business meetings. So close to the airport (A $20 cab ride). Free breakfast was different each day with sausage, bacon, egg, waffles and pancakes as hot options, plus cereal fruit and yogurt. Liquor stores, shopping, grocery stores within a short walk. An all round convenient time saving experience.
We stay at this motel many times each year visiting parents, and find it very convenient to the retirement homes and hospital. There are many options of rooms, but in the main unit the road noise on street side can be bothersome. We always ask for the quiet side and they accommodate us. We also have had large groups meet here for a reunion, and it served us well.
Best Western Regency staff consistently provides exceptional personalized service to their guests ... always making us feel like we are part of their friendship circle. Facilities offer everything we need, providing 2 pools, fitness room and an (ever changing) satisfying breakfast. Grounds, rooms and common spaces are clean. We love returning here, whenever in Abbotsford.
Good location off freeway. Nice rooms. Great bed, coffee makers in room suck. Elevator slow and small, only one. Staff friendly. Has a Ricky's Restaurant which has excellent food. Overall quite nice, starting to show its age.
Hello: I would just like to comment on our stay at the Best Western Plus Regency Inn and Conference Centre. We stayed here on our way up to the Okanagan, and found it to be an excellent, well price hotel with very nice rooms, swimming pool, and other amenities. The rooms were very nice, comfortable, and the staff was superb. The food at the Restaurant was to die for, especially the strawberry pie. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this hotel and would love to come back again.
Friendly staff. Speedy check-in and out. Clean and comfortable rooms. Ours had a kitchenette which was handy. Quiet neighbourhood. The only reasons why I wouldn't give it 5 stars is I think this is an old hotel as the bathrooms were super super small (although the tub was great!) and the hottub could've been hotter and cleaner. Other than that, a pleasant stay and would gladly stay again.
This hotel was perfect for our hockey team. They have a delicious breakfast, and laundry facilities. We had a king bed, and a nice little kitchenette. The location was perfect for getting to many things. Staff was helpful. 24 hour tea and coffee is nice too.
Great location close to everything. Good variety of breakfast choices, you won't leave hungry. The staff went out of their way to help make our visit a wonderful experience. Easy freeway entrance. Rooms are comfortable and spacious.
This is a good medium-price hotel. Super friendly staff, overall nice facilities. A nice home cooking type restaurant attached. Room was nice size except the usual tiny bathroom that has your knees almost to the door when you sit on the toilet. (You can close the door if you're in the bathtub.) Comfortable mattress. The free breakfast was quite good, with nice variety for the "breakfast-plus" type buffet offered in this level of hotel (i.e., some hot food). I only had two complaints. One was that the stairways were filthy enough that I noticed and remarked on it. That doesn't really affect my stay, but it makes me wonder what other less-noticeable things might be neglected. The other was that there were no instructions for the hot tub jets. I sat in the still hot water and didn't notice until I was leaving that the jet control is around the corner near the door exiting the pool area. Full toilets and separate shower in the pool area, though, which is a nice plus. Overall, recommended.
I was coming home from a trip overseas and this was on the route home, I like Best western for the price and quality of rooms, and was not disappointed. The only downside is that the breakfast room is in a separate building than the on I stayed in so had to walk through the rain to get there.
Stayed in a suite here with a soaker tub-highly recommend one of these rooms. The whirlpool tub was the best part! The rooms are nice and the beds are comfortable. I would return and I would recommend. There is a ABC restaurant just across the parking lot which is nice for a convenient meal. Front desk staff very nice and the hotel itself was cute.
Excellent breakfasts, large cozy rooms a great place to stay, the pool was a nice feature. It is easy to access the freeway which allows you to get on the road quickly or head to your destination quickly
We booked several rooms for a family event including the Presidential Suite which sleeps seven adults. The large living room area was perfect for gathering to visit late in the evening ( about 20 of us) and with morning breakfast brought over from the buffet. ( you could make your toast in the suite!). The exterior door made it easy for local family members to join us. The kids enjoyed the pool but missed having water slides. Staff were great about helping us find least expensive option for various family groups.
Came here with a group for a conference near-by. Booked a number of double queen rooms plus 1 suite. The suite was ok - no living room. Have seen better elsewhere. Otherwise, all the rooms were good, clean - nothing to complain about. We were in a separate building but that was fine. Plenty of parking. The breakfast was decent. The eggs were clumpy but in the end, more selection than other BW's I've stayed at. The free WiFi was actually decent for a hotel. Unfortunately, we returned to the hotel too late to check out the other amenities. The staff was great, including the security team. Our group stayed up late to hang out in the dining area and they didn't kick us out but rather closed the doors to help with the noise level. Guest-oriented! This hotel is perfect for groups. Would return the next time we're in town for our next conference.
I coordinate an annual fundraiser in Abbotsford called the Canadian Ski Patrol's Winter Extreme Ski Show & Swap since 1994. At first it was just a convenient clean accomidation for my volunteers and our vendors but soon it became much more than that. The rooms are great, the staff helpful but more importantly there are no surprises, everything is always clean, well appointed and professional ... no surprises ,,, just the way I like it and reasonably priced to boot!
Stayed here overnight after arriving on a late night flight. The staff were very helpful on arrival and check out. The room was quite comfortable and clean. While we didn't help ourselves to the complimentary breakfast; it looked and smelt quite good! Definitely good value for the reasonable room rate.
The best thing about this hotel is the location, to Abbotsford, if you need to be there and the highway, for an overnight travel stay. Nice and clean nothing spectacular but everything you need and would expect from a Best Western. It meets the "Plus" rating because it does have a the pool and a fitness room. Everything was of average quality except the above average well trained and friendly staff.
I stayed here for a night on a business trip. Check-in was quite late, but front desk staff was friendly. I was directed across the parking lot to the "Regency" portion of the hotel. I had a first-floor room that was average -- no frills, but clean. The fridge had a bit of a smell to it (sausage) but otherwise everything was fine. Breakfast wasn't bad -- "build your own" breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal, etc. The coffee was pretty terrible. This property didn't blow me away, but it was fine and I might stay there again.
The parking lot was almost full when we arrived early evening. Got another great room, the lamp on the desk conveniently had two electrical outlets - one for each of our laptops. As usual, the staff were friendly and Joan in the breakfast room let me stay there past 10 am. Nice to be able to have breakfast till 10 am. Everything was clean, comfortable and cosy. The energy of the this hotel is so good that I keep coming for repeated stays. This is a good hotel to break a driving journey just to relax in and use the hot tub and pool.
My men's slo pitch team played here over September long weekend as we had Men's Provincials in Abbotsford and we were coming from out of town and this hotel did not disappoint. We booked our rooms in advance online and sure glad we did, The breakfast that was included was awesome as some times games were so early you didn't have time to go anywhere, It was safe and close to the field, Not much more you could ask for.
This is not my first time at this property and it won't be my last. I find the hotel comfortable, convenient and clean. I do tend to favor BW hotels in my travels if able and this one is always on my list. Check in was was a treat as I was upgraded to their nicest room as a Best Western Rewards Diamond member. It was more than I could have asked for. Thanks.
Visiting family in Abbotsford - we have chosen the Best Western Regency as our 'away home'. The staff always ensures our needs are accomodated. The facility provides all the options necessary for a comfortable visit - excellent breakfasts, fitness room, pool, on-site restaurant. Couldn't ask for more.
We have stayed at this hotel a few times it has always been a pleasant experience. Staff has been friendly. Comfortable & clean rooms. We'll stay again, I am sure! Have no problems recommending this place to others
Very pleasent, as seamless and stress free as it should be. Staff excellent, professional, courteous, efficient. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. All the amenities that I needed. Continental breakfast was fresh and well stocked and maintained.
Very nice hotel except little busy street..... There is school other side of hotel. So in the morning and evening are little busy due to kids & family.... You need to be careful for driving. Room, staff and hotel is very nice. It is good for business trip or vacation~~~
We stayed in this hotel overnite enroute to a hospital visit the next morning, and as usual we were treated extremely well by the staff from the time we entered the building until we left. The only issue I have with this hotel, is I drive a fairly large vehicle and the parking spaces are a little tight, making it difficult to get out of the vehicle.
We stayed in the Crown Wing in a King Room on the Ground Floor(Room 112).Very Roomy Room with all of the amenities you would anticipate including a Microwave,Fridge plus all of the cutlery, plates, toaster & kettle. You have in room coffee using Wolfgang Puck Coffee...Very Tasty!! The Continental Breakfast is more like a Full Breakfast with the choice of Hot Items changing on a daily basis. Filled us up enough for the day!!!The Breakfast Ladies(Kelsey & Joan) were very accommodating and ensured that they always replenished items. No Complaints here whatsoever. The Front Desk checked us in very quickly and were always willing to assist you with directions!!! Always with a HUGE SMILE!!!!
Stayed at this hotel 3 times already, as we are visiting family in Abbotsford . Breakfast is always good and many choices. Recommand to stay here. Ricky restaurant used to be ABC Restaurant( attached to the hotel) is also very good place to have family gathering, we loved the their Farmer sausages soup, very comforting ( we are visiting family who is sick, the hospital is about 1km down the road)
The staff were amazing again for our stay there for Cops for Cancer. Rooms clean and quiet - breakfast Yummy! They are great supporters of Cops for Cancer The banquet facilities are also great - highly reccommend
Nice rooms and good breakfast… but not much to do around there! Bed was comfy and sheets smelled fresh! Will stay there any time! Bathroom was kind of akward but maybe because I'm a big guy? no view from our room either!
I stayed here multiple nights, it's convenient, the girls at the front desk are great, very friendly and the breakfast is the best of any of the other hotels of the same caliber within 50km. I'll definitely stay here again without hesitation.
Noise level between rooms and hallways is terrible. Ice machine didn't work. Property had no charm or warmth. Carpets need to be replaced. Lighting in the bathroom too dim. Front desk clerk was efficient but not warm or friendly.
I booked this hotel after I have seen the reviews here. I wonder if guest just have low standards? How can anybody give this hotel an above average rating is beyond me? I stayed here for 4 nights. When I entered my room I was greeted by a room that spelled like dirty sweaty laundry. It was so bad I drove to the next store to get some air freshener, even at night I woke up and I smelled was this odor? The TV remote did not work either. In the morning, before I left I called reception and told them about the bad odor and the remote control. When I returned at 5 pm at night, the room was a little fresher but the remote still did not work. I called reception and was told somebody will be at the room within 10 minutes. It took over an hour until somebody came. The breakfast is just like any other free hotel breakfast. The hotel itself feels like a seniors retirement home. The furniture in and decor in my room looked was miss matched and old fashioned. There is no notice barrier between the hotel and the highway. You will hear the highway traffic at any time of day. I spend 5 to 10 nights per month in Hotels. I expect better for my money.
Would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Abbotsford or just passing through. Rooms were clean, bright and spacious. Breakfast selections were plentiful. Special thanks to the staff of the breakfast room who made sure everything was hot and well stocked. Would have given it top rating if we hadn't received a card under the door, while we were at breakfast, (before 9:30 AM) telling us that because of the "do not disturb" sign on the door we would not get room service. Once the card was removed we did receive full service later on in the day.
Best Western is our hotel of choice most often. This one wasn't bad. Included were a full hot breakfast which was very nice, and the room was clean and comfortable. The only things I noticed were the elevator was hard to find, the bathroom was tiny and there was oddly no bathmat for the tub or rack near the sink to hang your hand towel.
We have stayed at this hotel two or three times and have found it very comfortable, quiet, and friendly. The internet connection was excellent. The breakfast is very similar to other hotels, maybe a little more extensive.
Arriving late with a tired little girl, we had no reservation, and no real plan. They checked us in as fast as they could. Even asked what floor we would prefer as I was carrying the child. Room was spotless, and very quite. That surprised me as the hotel is located just off the Trans Canada Highway. Room furnishings were modern and well kept.
The shower heads and water pressure are awful. There was a stale smell in the room but febreeze air freshener worked like a charm. The pool is very small. The spa is luke warm and the jets need to be fixed. The breakfast was very good. The staff great.
