Best Western Premier Route 97 Vernon

Clean well laid out rooms and the entire flow of the BW Premier on Route 97 is excellent. Easy access to full service restaurant; full lounge/bar area just off the bright and welcoming lobby area. All rooms are within easy walking distance of the elevator. Our room had a lovely view of the valley. Beds perfect and pillows were nice mix of firmer and soft.

Checked in by people that barely speak English and I had to have them repeat things several times. Once in the room, there is no information about the hotel itself. I had to go back down to find out where to get ice. There is a restaurant here but again, no information on it. Even the BW website did not provide much info. There is a pool somewhere but again, no information was provided. There is free coffee (Keurig), in the lobby but it was always lined up so we went to timmies up the road. The room was quite noisy from the people above (wood construction?) so we had to run the fan all night to offset the stomping but could still hear the hiway noise. We had a kitchen suite which was very well appointed if that's your thing. The bathroom was large and clean and the beds were quite comfortable. All in all, just an ok stay and not worth the money.

Stayed overnight while transiting from Edmonton to Vancouver. It's a very new property. Spotless and well appointed large room. Only real interaction I had with staff was with the young lady that served us in the lobby bar area. Poor girl was run off her feet trying to serve patrons in the restaurant while insuring we were taken care of. She did her best and should be commended for her efforts. There are numerous spots with in 2 minutes drive for meals , including a Casino . A large superstore is directly across from the hotel. The Hotel has lots of free parking and has easy access to the highway. On of the nicest BW brand hotels we have stayed at. We will be back

Very nice and clean, the staff were very helpful with any of our needs. Would've liked to have breakfast included, but , the prices in the restaurant were very reasonable. Very close to a mall and restaurants. I would definitely stay there again in the future.

Pet friendly although no grass. The bed was very comfortable. The shower had good pressure and plenty of towels. Everything was clean. Good location and friendly staff. I would stay again. Newer hotel so that makes it better for sure. The location is close to everything. Super store across the road with Starbucks close by on the same road. Vegan place for breakfast and lunch is called the Pineapple Express on 27 street not that far away. A&W next to super store, Cora's is also on Anderson way.

Our stay in August consisted of three nights and four days at the Best Western Premier in Vernon. We had a kitchenette, a sofa bed, and two queen beds. There were bugs on the queen bed and the sofa bed. There isn't a kettle, toaster, pot, or skillet in the kitchen. What are the essential requirements for a hotel kitchen, and what would a kitchen be without them? There are no toothbrushes or shower caps in the bathroom. Let me tell you, neither is the staff friendly. Every time we passed the front desk during our stay, no one said "Hello" to us or took the time to say hello to our dog. The arrangement was terrible, service was terrible.

Great hotel! Very clean, friendly Staff. Restaurant had good quality food. Hotel was in a great location, Could walk to a few places. Super comfy beds and pillows. Pool looked pretty good But didn't use on this trip. Highly recommend staying here Five stars!

Had a girls weekend the this was our last night and was so quiet and enjoyable, The beds were very comfortable and the pillows heaven. The area was clean and easy to find, Friendly staff Would stay here again The only suggestion as there were 5 of us not enough coffee..

There was a lacrosse tournment that werkend and i don't think they were prepared for all the kids. The coffee area was a disaster zone. There was spills and everything empty. When I went to check into my room it was either not cleaned or person still there. Bed was not made and food on the counter. I had to go back down and get a new room.

Thermostat in my room was broken and they placed a sign under it saying sorry broken. The temperature ranged from freezing to very hot and I had no control. The cleaning staff left a dirty sponge for dishes, I had to ask front desk staff for toilet paper because it wasn't left in the room. The dryer for guest laundry was broken, when I went to tell staff their response was “yeah we know” they wouldn't give me my money back and wouldn't put a sign up either saying it was broken. If you do stay and book a suite with a kitchen bring your own silverware because my room only had butter knives.

Clean and light in the eyes. We liked this hotel better than Prestige which was a block away only. The swimming pool was a bit small though but still good to swim for the kids. Overall, we liked it so much. Our family and friends will surely be back here.

Had a great stay- we were in town for a family visit. Beds were comfortable, rooms clean and excellent air conditioning in the rooms. Hotel is really well situated and had a good, family friendly feeling to it. Free coffee machine in the lobby was appreciated.

The hotel was great until they had a power outage for 2.5 hrs in the morning the day we were leaving. They should have communicated with the guests as to what was going on. I'm disable was was on the 3rd floor so I couldn't leave my room til the power came back on so had to wait.

This hotel is very clean and welcoming. Staff is excellent. Location is excellent. You can park and walk to restaurants, casino and groceries.

Please remember the text below: A one-night stay went smoothly, but then Rai or Raj, a sweet lady, explained that a $50 security deposit was added to my bill for the one-night stay. I was confused because the checkout bill didn't show a security deposit, which raised concerns about unauthorized charges to my credit card. The bill showed $186, while I was charged $246 at check-in. I wonder if this is normal?

Easy access off the highway, several restaurants within walking distance, and free EV charging (with multiple chargers available)!

We had an absolutely horrific experience with the hotel. However conflict resolution aside. This hotel is unsafe for families. Staff members enter your room whenever they feel like it. As long as you don't have the privacy sign on your door they can enter whenever they want is what management told me. So please keep your door triple locked at all times!! Especially if you have kids. Dennis likes to enter rooms when he knows only minors are present. They make you pay extra for a pet cleaning fee daily. Which is pretty standard but normally that includes actually getting your room cleaned. For those bringing pets beware! There are needles on and around the property. Other than the close proximity to the arena the hotel has absolutely nothing going for it.

Weve stayed at this hotel 3 times now and not once have we been disapointed. The rooms are clean and the staff is fantastic.

The Hotel had problems with the restaurant and knowledge of staff. The bed was worn out. The staff was quite friendly.

Stayed for one night and was mostly impressed with the room. The bathroom was especially nice with the automatic sensor for the lighting and fan a wonderful feature. We had a full kitchen which we hardly used but it looked to be "top drawer". However, the one negative is the tv in the bedroom, while massive encroached on the area at the end of the bed. This made it a challenge to navigate past it and could be a real challenge for some Seniors or person with any difficulty with mobility.

The hotel is in a great location, but the attention to room detail requires improvement. I checked into a room with the blinds off the wall and no soap or supplies in the bathroom. I was upgraded to a larger room, but this room had a 1/2 used container of body lotion, and the shower's wall-mounted soap dispensers had two different brands, two shampoos, and no body wash. The four pillows on the bed were not placed neatly. Is no one doing room inspections?

Bring your own pots and pans and toaster if you plan to use the kitchenettes. Everything else is great. Apperntly I didn't have enough letters in my review, you need 200, so I typed this extra sentence.

We stayed at the BWP Vernon twice while traveling through Vernon for a backcountry ski tip SOL Mtn. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the location very convenient - close to restaurants, shopping, and the road to Silverstar Ski Resort and Sovereign Lake Nordic Club. Will definitely stay here again without hesitation. Great stay - thanks!

Hotel was in a great location for us. Just outside the down town area. Immediately across the street from very large grocery plus store. Quite new hotel so everything was in quite good shape. Never used the pool but it looked lovely. Restaurant was not really open except for a buffet breakfast that at $16.00, I would not do again. Staff was great, especially front end staff. Keep in mind that we were at a national sporting event so we paid a very low rate

I booked a room with a kitchenette—this hotel does not supply the basics such as a toaster, a kettle, paper towels, dish rack, pots or pans. It seems to be false advertising when a kitchenette has no supplies. The restaurant on site has no name or posted menu, so we did not take the risk. Lots of good restaurants and massive Superstore, only a two-minute's walk. Rooms are comfortable, but there is no daily housekeeping due to labour shortages.

So new it all still sparkles. Helpful efficient Reception Staff. Fast elevators. A bank of EV Charging Stations at rear of free large Car Park in front of Entry. The Indoor Pool was excellent. Guest Laundry on ground floor near Pool. Gorgeous Drinks Bar. We had 1 Breakfast in the Restaurant and our Eggs Benedict Meals were excellent. The 20% Guest Discount brought meal to a low $32 and meant our hot beverages ended up free. We had a Kitchenette Room so after buying groceries across the road we Self-Catered. Kitchen fitout all good, including a Keurig, but Reception provided us with an Electric Kettle and a Toaster. The Complimentary Beverage Station in Lobby was very good. Our Suite had a separate 1 King Bed spacious bedroom, so we had a large comfortable Lounge/Dining and the bathroom was large with luxurious Walk-In Shower. The location is excellent. 5 minutes to Walmart or Village Green with a Hudson's is closer and several Fast Food Chains are close. Housekeeping is fastidious.

For the price you'd expect some sort of "continental" breakfast or something but NOPE! Rooms were clean and not freezing cold so that's why they get an average mark. if it was a scale of 10 they'd be more of a 7 I spend a lot of time in decent hotels, this was good but not great. Decent sleep

Disappointing stay. Didn't receive the room asked for therefore costing us more than it should have! No rubber mat in shower. Breakfast not included and restraunt only open 2 hours per day When making reservation with the hotel the person speaking to did not have good command of the English language overall I was not happy I thought premier would have been a nicer hotel than the Plus but in July I stayed at a Plus in Tacoma and it was superb so this was a major disappointment

The hotel is brand new. The restaurant is not open for dining, only breakfast (not complementary). The room itself was fine but stay away from the main floor bedrooms. The noise coming from the lobby will not let you sleep.

Travelling for work and booked this hotel as it was the centre location of our work destinations. Happy we did! Great service and the rooms are really nice! The door to the bathroom wouldn't close but I didn't care too much as it was just me. The light from the thermostat was very bright and made it difficult to sleep. I contacted the front staff and they brought up cards and tape to cover the screen and it was helpful.

The staff are amazing and go above and beyond. I would suggest this hotel as it is easy to get too, also lots of stuff in the area for people to do. The hotel is very clean and rooms are clean and spacious.

Nicely decorated room with lots of space and storage room. Clean, lots of towels, extra blankets and sheets available. Fast service at check in and great help from the front desk for directions and restaurant recommendations.

Average hotel in a fair location beside the highway. For the middle of summer I would expect it to be packed (not) and they would save rooms with a view like mine for latecomers nor people who reserved ahead. I do have 2 friendly pigeons that come by to check on me every night, I have the roof of the covered entrance as my view . Bit of a nightmare with my reservation, don't book a corporate trip over the weekend they split you into 3 reservations-before weekend, weekend and after weekend, corporate rate not available on weekends. So I have to check in every couple days. It is clean, good housekeeping service, pool, hot tub and gym are all nice.

We were not told that there was a breakfast so we're went out each morning …it would have been helpful had we been told about the breakfast and where it was located…We were in a handicap accessible room which was very nice and met my mobility needs.

The staff was very welcoming, informative and pleasant! The room was immaculate and the beds very comfortable! Nice selection of coffee, decaf and tea -keurig. The shower has shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispenser on wall of shower! The bathroom even has a sophisticated mirror for make-up or shaving! They provide iron/ironing board, hair dryer, etc. kitchenette set up nicely!

I was on a mini vacation and looking forward to a nice cocktail in the evening, which meant I did not have to drive after having alcohol, which this hotel promised. But the bar did not open either night I was there. The restaurant attached was only open for breakfast not dinner, did not offer complimentary breakfast only 20% off - may as well stayed at Holiday Inn or Fairmont which I would not have expected alcohol and would get a free breakfast and the room rates are lower.

I had a great stay and would recommend this new and well located hotel. The room was ample and all goods worked well. It also has a nice gym with new equipment and a pool. Lots of parking is available and the road around it is not too busy.

Hotel is located in a very convenient location and offers amenities such as a restaurant, pool, fitness Center and Wi-fi. Room cleanliness is below par but hotel offers many types of rooms to fit your travel needs like kitchenettes and pull out couches.

I am not happy at all with Room service I booked for 24 days and I checked in after 4 days I put the sign on the door to clean my room they fix only the bed and put more towels they didn't clean any thing again after 8 days I put my sign to clean the room when I came back I get there room as it was and I called front desk and I asked and they told me they don't check the sign if I want to be clean my room I have to let them no on the front desk which is nobody told me when I checked in All in all I am not happy at all with room service

Stayed at this hotel for one night on a work trip. It's still got that new hotel smell. Double room was spacious, clean, and had lots of light. The bathroom was well equipped with a makeup mirror which I didn't expect. Bed was very comfortable, air conditioner worked well and I slept well. Would recommend this hotel.

The rooms are very nice because the hotel is new but the highway noise is the worst I've ever seen. Stay off the north side of the building or bring ear plugs. Also the hottub was down which was a total bummer as we spent the day snowshoeing and we're really looking forward to it.

Was told no breakfast when checked in only to find out there was, but we were too late and missed it. Gauntlet of people smoking outside front door(at least 10) so smelled throughout building , bar not open, restaurant not open (other than breakfast)

Rooms are beautiful and clean. Every staff member encountered, from front desk to cleaning were so friendly and welcoming ! Impressed that they have rooms available for guests with small pets too. Beautiful indoor pool although didn't have the opportunity to try it (hopefully next time). Highly recommend ❤️

Every time I've tried this hotel there is always a problem when you try and let them know they don't care. I've had bugs, empty shampoo twice, hair, hwy noise bad, elevator noise bad a cheaply built hotel. Nothing is good about it.

New hotel, still some housekeeping issues. They have a resturant that only serves breakfast, and was to expensive. Hashbrowns were burnt, and no name coffee was $4 On the plus , confortable bed, and while close to highway did not hear highway noise

The property is expensive and understaffed. Don't get me started on the front manager! She is also very unprofessional. I will never come back to this hotel with either my family or friends. Just a no no!

I attended a Junior Chamber International (JCI) young professionals training weekend in Vernon that was hosted at the Best Western and it was an awesome hotel. Our full day development training had amazing guest speakers and national trainers and was in a gorgeous, bright room with beautiful mountain views. Dee, the hostess, was super attentive to keeping our team fed and hydrated and clearing away things after meals. We had sparkling clean rooms and everything was so new and fresh, it made getting ready for our evening galas and celebrations with the organization super nice and easy. I'm sure that for any future JCI events, we'd be happy to be back here again!

We were greeted promptly upon arrival, friendly and pleasant. We were given a complimentary room upgrade which was a surprise, we had a king room with a kitchenette, huge beautiful room! Loved the bathroom with the large walk in shower, it felt like I was at home. The bed and pillows were so comfortable we had a great sleep and who doesn`t love blackout blinds! This property will be our go to for Vernon trips

It's clean, new, nice and not expensive for what it is. They surpass my expectations every time. This is my chosen hotel for many places for the free water, excellent service and all the points that I get towards free stays. This Vernon location is one of my favourites

Newer Best Western in Vernon BC. In a good area with lots of nearby shopping and restaurants. Lots of parking and easy access off of Hwy 97. Only downside is that this is one of few Best Westerns that does not offer any sort of breakfast. There is coffee in the rooms and in the lobby. There is a restaurant on the property that does offer breakfast but their prices are quite high. Sadly the hotel does not even offer their patrons a discount for the on-site restaurant.

Very friendly staff. When a small mistake was made (which was really nothing) they gave us an upgrade. Good location and easy to get to. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Very happy with our stay!

I really like the location, rooms and fitness centre and the staff were friendly. Everything is very new and fresh. However my experience turned after requesting late checkout the morning of my departure due to business commitments. After being told yes no problem, I had housekeeping knock and try to clean room in which I clarified I had late checkout. I then had the front desk call 5 mins later to tell me I needed to leave and I again clarified I had a late checkout. And yet another 5 mins later someone from the desk barged into the room without waiting for me to answer the door to again tell me I needed to leave. I was on a video call for work that was disrupted 3x. If you don't want to allow late checkout then don't agree to it. Not only was this frustrating because I had prearranged it to avoid a situation like this, it was also very embarrassing having to go through that in front of my colleagues who were on video witnessing the whole thing. So I ended my call early and left for fear of an escalation. When I asked to speak to the manager on my way out I was assured I would receive a phone call to come to a resolution. I did not receive a phone call. Very poor customer service and the whole experience was very upsetting.

Very clean. Smells better than almost all hotels we have stayed in. Fresh air and good circulation. Can black out the windows. Air conditioning is best we have found and we like to sleep in a very cool room. Very, very clean. Breakfast was good in the restaurant. Bed was comfy. Polite, efficient staff. This is the nicest hotel we have stayed at in a long time and we have stayed at some nice hotels. They even had a space for us to park our horse trailer. Easy access.

This is new hotel and it is not 100% complete. Our kitchenette was not complete and fridge did not work. We had room on main floor and staff started slamming doors around 730, every morning. Very noisy on main floor. Room was super clean as it was brand new. Did not feel we were treated right for being loyal customer that paid with points.

As expected, since this hotel is new, the rooms were clean as were most of the public areas. The lobby has some strange floral odor which was quite strong. The air conditioning in one room was not working at all but they were able to switch us to an adjacent room. The hotel is short staffed, as are many places in BC, so there is currently no daily maid service. This hotel is not very sound proof as we could hear people moving around in the room above ours. As well the doors really slam! With BC taxes this hotel is not cheap so don't be surprised when you get the total bill since the prices quoted do not include taxes.

The Premier Best Western in Vernon is the best stay we have had on our holidays. The room was very clean and spacious. The front desk staff are very personable and helpful. The room temperature was awesome, especially in plus 33 weather! We will definitely stay there again!

Awsome hotel.. fully updated brand new rooms... very very clean and comfortable bedding .... it was the best experience ....very friendly staff....location is perfect .. near by amnities and super easy access from high way

Excellent new hotel with exceptional staff. Beautiful facility in a picturesque setting. We really enjoyed our stay and beds were so comfortable. It is located not far from down town but don't expect the old part of downtown to open on a Sunday. Literally there was not a store open.

Met and partially exceeded my expectations; Rooms are very clean and organized and fully upgraded; AC working perfectly; Did not expect that this was a brand new hotel . Overall I was happy with the hotel experience and service

No complimentary breakfast as stated online, needed a good vacuuming. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is very good, close to Walmart and McDonald's and Cora's and much, much more with farmland and orchard views.
