Best Western Inn at Penticton

When we got there they gave us our room and we went there it wasn't clean. We got a new room and I found hair on the towel in the bathroom. The TV didn't always work. The staff was not nice. I will never come back. When I asked the stay if I was going to get any money off becuase of the rooms the lady was rude to me and told me it was my fault for booking online that day. Ilk never come back ever.

The building is a motel not a hotel so in cold or adverse weather conditions checking in will be a challenge, especially if you are on the second floor. The building is also very old but very well kept and clean. The toilets however are ancient tiny little toilet form a by-gone era. If you are a big person you will find life's simple pleasures very challenging. If you are male and have to do a number one and a number two at the same time- good luck to you!

Very comfortable enlarge clean room, great breakfast with friendly helpful staff, and nice extra amenities such as indoorpool/hot tub and out door pool. We appreciate the option of having our pet with us.

When we first arrived the girl at the desk was friendly and very helpful. She was patient with us and made sure we knew all we needed to know. I returned to get supplies and sh÷ immediately helped with a smile then asked if I needed anything else. At breakfast we were greeted by a very friendly woman whe made sure wwe were well taken care of. The only little complain I may have us that it was hard to keep our room a constant temperature but it was a little thing. We will return.

We have tried a few hotels in Penticton but our best stay has always been BW. The breakfast is a bonus and the hot tub is a treat. Love that BW is pet friendly but the daily rate ($20) for a dog is a bit steep if staying a few days. Should be a flat rate

Attractive Hotel in great location. No elevator but lower floors at carpark levels. Fastidious everywhere. Staff amazing. Outdoor Pool in Season and indoor Pool otherwise. The Breakfasts were fantastic. The generous Enviro Reward Programme a Winner. Get points if u forego Housekeeping. The spacious Kitchen Suite was very User Friendly. Domestic sized frig and proper supply of crockery, cutlery, glasses and pots and pans. Fantastic. Car parking easy and location great for everything.

Room was nice. Kitchen was very useful. Pool was excellent as was the free breakfast the facility was clean and looked good. Inner courtyard was fun for gathering and kids running around. Liked the location as close to the lake.

This is a motel-style setup. There is a nice inner grass and pool area that would make it good for kids. I had a room at the back so it was quiet. The location is near to Skaha Lake beach (south end of Penticton) but only 5 mins by car to downtown. I chose this hotel because it was convenient for where my friends live. Not an elegant hotel, but if you're looking for family and pet friendly accommodations, this would suit.

Sept 9th 2019 marked the day husband to be got down on one knee at he front left corner of the "sun dial" to propose. Major head fake about a great photo of a cool landmark.... It was the Day after the Dragon Boat Festival. We were apart of the Sudden Impact Black from Cultas Lake BC Afternooners with pupperz and coffees in hand loved the romance. So Penticton is our forever September home away from home. This year is the first ime we've been able to revisit. We chose the Best Western for location and reputation. We were not disappointed upon arriving. Check in was prompt the place was great. So glad we desided to stay here. As this date marks a special life event, Dragon Boating aside, we will try to reserve again for future stays with all the wacko's of the Dragon Boating world. Even if the team does not come due to the many paddlers selected for the Worlds and Pan Am races. Penticon is a favorite destination to chill. "Paddles UP"!

Booked a suite several month in advance. We received a regular room so we went back to the front desk and talked to the manager. The Manager told us there were no suites available and refused to rebate any money even though we did not receive our room type. Manager was RUDE AT BEST. One of our friends had heard the manager upgrade someone at no charge to a suite after we had checked in.

BW at Penticton delivers great service and will accommodate our needs. The full breakfast was awesome with scrambled eggs, hash browns, sausages, bacon, waffles, toast and much more. We had choice of swimming in the outdoor pool or indoor pool which the kids loved. Thank you Best Western at Penticton for your great service and we would love to return here for our annual family vacation for a family of 40 plus.

Hotel was great, staff was excellent and breakfast was good. Both indoor and outdoor pools were a great place to hang out and stay cool. BBQ pits are excellent and a great place to meet new people while grilling.

I am going to rate this motel a 4 because I don't want to negatively impact their overall score as I think it may be one of the best choices in Penticton. The grounds are well looked after. The staff are great (super important and appreciated). There are not many motels of this quality where you can park your car outside your room. It makes travel so easy. That said I want folks booking this very expensive property to understand it has a 1980 vibe. The buildings are old, the furnishings are dated and it is not within walking distance to any waterfront. The street it is located on is convenient with box stores and such but there is no character. Like I said, could be the best choice - pools, breakfast - laid back vibe that was lovely. Just want to help folks make an informed decision. I will probably book again in winter (only at a reduced rate) to enjoy the wonderful city of Penticton when things are a bit quieter and more appropriately priced.

The courtyard is one of the best features of this hotel. Each room opens onto the courtyard, with the outdoor pool, tables, BBQs and play area for the kids. The grass is always green and is well lit. The perfect place to sit and relax after a long day. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast room always has something for everyone and as a celiac I have plenty of choices. Can't imagine staying anywhere else in Penticton.

This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had. Kris the hotel reception was incredibly rude and does not have an ounce of hospitality and should not be working as your front desk agent. The manager Kelly also had a horrible reaction to our unfortunate situation. They should not be employed in hospitality. If it wasn't for the fact that this was a tribute trip for my late mom I would have never continued with this reservation. Kris was incredibly rude on the initial phone call, not willing to help, and then passed me over to his colleague to book me in. The booking agent booked me at a rate of $1314.40 per night including all taxes. When I got to the counter on July 25, Kris was there and was extremely unfriendly, so rude to the point I was in tears in front of him and that is only when he changed his tune. He charged me $1325 and change and told me to take up the $9 difference. Kris was also condescending about the $9 difference “you mean the $9”, it was $9 on each room and this was after online it quoted me almost $200 dollars less which they would not match and the online booking platform was not working to book. We went to speak to the manager the next day Kelly. Kelly already had a narrative in her head about our reservation and comes out to greet us by saying “oh is this the reservation about the $9”, saying it in a rude and condescending way, similar to how Kris expressed his opinion. Kelly took his side immediately and then eventually started to understand our side and said she would handle Kris' approach with him. This wasn't the only trouble we had at this location. We asked for two blankets as we had to use both beds and the AC was fairly cold, Kris gave us one only and said “yeah they don't trust us here at best western I guess” in reference to providing us another blanket. Not only did we not get two blankets and one of our sleeping areas was incredibly cold when sleeping on the pull out, I proceeded to ask the house keeping lady for a blanket and they did not bring an additional one up either. I asked twice the housekeeping department and Kris was asked once and not not provided the additional blanket that was asked for. This experience was traumatizing. This was a location we visited when we were younger with my mother who recently passed and we wanted to do a tribute trip to her. Kelly even went so far to quaetipn who my mother was as If we were lying about the reason we were coming. Kelly said “what was your mothers name, I've been here for 30 years..” in a questioning accusatory way when addressing the unfortunate situation when dealing with Kris and the money owed back to us. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! Do not stay here. Way better customer service in Penticton. I was left traumatized and did not even want to have any contact with the hotel. I am actually concerned for my information in their computer as Kris was so terrible and treated me with such hatred. 10/10 would not recommend based off the staff. The location is perfect and the hotel is great for kids but you will not be treated with any kindness or consideration, to the point you are treated and made to feel uncomfortable staying there

A beautiful hotel in a great location. Close to the beach at Skaha Lake, shopping restaurants and pubs. Nice clean room with friendly, helpful staff. A great indoor pool, outdoor pool and a hot tub.The courtyard has tables and chairs with lots of shade. The included breakfast was one of the best we've ever had at a hotel. All the hot items were hot and there were many other choices that would satisfy everyone. We would definitely stay there again

We enjoyed this property immensely. From the beautifully maintained grounds that include both indoor and outdoor pools and a BBQ area, to the daily breakfast with great service. Unexpectedly, we were upgraded to the honeymoon suite - WOW! We will be back and will definitely recommend this location to friends and family. Thanks to BW for being part of making this a fantastic getaway.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Well kept. Nice kitchenette for longer stays. The pools and grounds are very nice, indoor pool area is a bit dated. The outdoor pool was a lot of fun in the very hot weather. The breakfast was top notch.

July tends to be busiest month and the prices everywhere are insane, 300$ can you a 5 star hotel in most tourist destinations but in Penticton it's 3 star inn at best. Having said that our stay at this Inn was overall very pleasant, they did their very best with what is available is how I'd summarize it. Pros: - Fantastic and friendly staff - Unique and larger inner courtyard with outdoor pool, 4 BBQs, picnic tables, swings and kids movie nights - Indoor pool and hot tub w/ beach towels - Really good daily breakfast with great variety - Great location, 10 min walk to Skaha Lake / beach Cons: - The inn is very old and seen better days - Rooms are really small - Carpet and most furniture looks like it's been there for 20-30 years I kid you not - Very expensive for what you get room wise If ownership ever updates the inn (they won't because they BW plus), it would go a long way. I honestly felt claustrophobic in the room, but it was offset by all the pros.

The Best Western Inn Penticton has had an overhaul and it's made a big difference. It's still old but clean and tidy. The outside area is great and well kept. Perfect for families and friends sharing time together. It's a bit pricey for the area but I guess it's whatever the market will bear. Walking distance to the beach and shopping.

Of all of the Best Westerns we've stayed at this is our very favourite. We stayed here several times and will continue to do so. The hotel has a fabulous courtyard with a large area to bbq complete with utensils, tables and chairs. There are two pools and a play area for children. The breakfast room has a patio overlooking the courtyard. The rooms are clean. The hotel is a short walk to a great restaurant on the water, the beach and walking & cycling path. The staff and groundsmen are wonderful. Big thank you to the owners and their employees for being so welcoming.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating in meeting our needs for a wheelchair friendly unit. They moved us to the main floor and the maintenance man immediately delivered a ramp and set it up in the parking lot in front of our unit. The complimentary soup on Monday - Wednesday evening was a very nice touchwhich was well appreciated after a day of travelling. We will definitely stay here again.

Had to go into town for a late medical test, and decided to stay overnight for a mini get away. The staff were great. The room was well appointed, and clean. The location was perfect for getting to the hospital as well as the casino later that evening! The hot breakfast included in the price was a bonus. Definately will be back.

Rooms were very clean and had lots of space. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was fabulous, you had the choice of hot or cold. I would highly recommend staying, I will when I return. They are a great group of people, it was like returning home for a visit.

The rooms were acceptable, but the pool and hot tub were excellent. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. The locations is very good for our travel needs and there are plenty of dining options within walking and driving distance.

Not a very memorable trip. The room and kitchenette was not clean and fully equipped. We were apparently told that there were no other similar or better rooms available at the time. Sub par experience with the breakfast and the serving staff. Hot tub was not operational for more than a year and while staff knows this - its not updated on their site or third party booking sites.

Be very careful on the room you book. Stay was actually in September that was not a pick choice. . We booked on line - booked the 2 room Suite with Kitchen. What we got was a 2 queen bed with a mini fridge and microwave. When asked at the front desk, was advised that what I booked online was not available - due to long term stays. I could go online and book the exact same room that week.. Even the price quoted on line was not what was charged for the incorrect room. To sum this up - BW Penticton would not compensate, I was to call the 1800 number as I booked online. They were not able to help me as my booking was done online. What I was asking for was compensation as what I booked was not what we received. Even $25.00 per night would have been a gesture. After back and forth with 1800 Best Western Customer Relations, there was nothing they could do as the Inn in Penticton would not compensate. To the Manager of this hotel - you need better customer service. We had choices on where we could stay in Penticton. Next time we will pick another location.

This hotel is old and dated. The carpet was stained and dirty and there was no maid service. The bathroom was tired and very dated and did not feel clean. The breakfast was pedestrian at best. There must be better choices in Penticton

This is a great hotel. The room has a front entrance and sliding doors to the courtyard excellent for group or family gathers. All the staff is friendly and provide good service. For example, The hotel is not designed to be wheelchair accessible, but the staff went over and beyond to make it work. For example, the manager recommended a spacious room and reserved that room for us. There is a raised sidewalk so I asked a worker to direct me. He built a wheelchair ramp and installed it in less than half an hour. Love this place.

The best place to stay in Penticton. The staff was friendly, the room was very clean, the breakfast was amazing. I loved that the second door In our room opened out to a grassy play area and pool. I felt at home.

Easily the nicest and cleanest BW accommodations we have experienced. Large rooms well equipped and comfortable. Service was impeccable, and we can't say enough about the full spread continental breakfast and cleanliness of the eating area.

I booked the room 6 months in advance because it was on a busy weekend. The cancellation requirements were very flexible. We had not requested ground floor so had to contend with climbing stairs, but that was not a major problem. The hotel is older but well kept and clean. The included breakfast was everything you could hope for.

Very good quality hotel for the price. Clean rooms, very good outdoor and indoor pool. Good internet. Very good breakfast with a good quality and variety of choices. Very good service from the front desk and other staff. I would certainly come back.

The hotel was centrally located in the Okanagan, we were able to drive from Osoyoos to Kelowna without any issues. The hotel is quiet and the staff is very friendly. The room is comfortable and the breakfast changes every morning.

Usually stay closer to downtown and beach, but hotels were either full or a much higher price than we are used to. Luckily this came up on an internet search so we booked it. Overall vibe is an old fashioned motel type, but pretty updated. The courtyard is a standout with the pool (also an indoor pool), lots of tables, kids play equipment, grass and big shade trees! If our kids were little again this would be our go to! We were there for our anniversary, so only downside was location is not walking distance to downtown and beaches so we had to get cabs as we planned on having wine. Also needed a cab for casino. There are some walkable places for food and shopping such as Walmart. Included breakfast was one of the best we have seen!

This BW inn has a nice location, near Skaha Lake. The beds were comfy, but you can feel it's quite old and stuffy. The room was equipped with airconditioning, but i found it quite noisy. Also, the coffeemaker in our room wasn't working either and the lights were white and quite bright. I would probably try a different inn next time.

Great location , great staff. Easy walk to Skaha Lake park. All staff seemed personally invested in providing the best experience possible . 2 pools were great and loved the extra touches like patio sets outside our rooms, BBQs for everyone's use and movie night for the kids. Reminded of us travelling as kids in the mid 60s . Fantastic location for families and anyone else young at heart !

Loved our stay here. Our room seemed recently upgraded expect the carpet. The breakfast every morning was amazing and we liked how they changed it up everyday. It's within walking distance to the lake which is why we booked. The courtyard is beautiful and well maintained. We would definitely come back

The staff here was hands down the friendliest and most helpful I've ever had at any of the hotels I've stayed at. Tanner, stood out the most and he deserves recognition for the outstanding job he does

My family and I have been going to Penticton annually for over 30 years now. Up until the management change which occurred about 5 years ago it was well taken care of. We always got the same room (124) until this management change who told us it was now impossible to secure this room. For loyal customers this was confusing. On top of it, the property itself has gone downhill. The bare minimum is done to maintain it. There were bugs in our room. Because of the location it is relatively expensive ($350/night for a VERY mediocre room). It simply is not worth it anymore. You are better off to find an Air BnB.

Room was moderately clean, but that is where the happiness ends. Tub drain worked poorly, Shower temp very hard to control. This for a room that started on day 1 as 229 and went in three days up to 299. I tried to discuss this with front desk after guy in front seemed to have same issue but was then put on to manager who didn't seem to be around. Maybe would have been worth it but I had people waiting for me for work.

Our room wasn't ready for checkin time but the wait wasn't too long. I experience back pain everytime I laid down on the beds, just found them too hard and uncomfortable my sleep was poor for 6 nights. At breakfast time when it was busy people would come in the exit and bypass the lines and steal tables away from those actually waiting. This hotel has a great setup though and 2 pools which is great.

The room is meh, but the courtyard and pool area make up for it. Would stay here again. Breakfast was great. Tamas was amazing. So helpful and friendly and just made you feel welcome and at home. Location is good, close to Skaha Beach and close to grocery stores. My only complaint is lack of room cleaning after we had stayed three nights and they didn't follow through. We ended up just asking the cleaning person for toilet paper and new towels. Aside from that it worked for us.

I booked at least 3/4 months ahead and used my reward points for a free room. The room I got was under the staircase and next door with mechanical room and laundry and ice maciness. You can definitely hear the noise all night from the machical room. Be careful if you book a room if you don't ask for room always from elevator or venting machines that what they usually try to get rid off 1st.

We loved our stay with our toddler and infant! Breakfast was delicious, the courtyard/playground great for play, and the indoor pool was great for the rainy weather we experienced. Staff really cared about you having a good time, and it was clean enough for me to be comfortable. Would have loved to use the hot tub, which was closed, and seems to have been for a bit. So close to skaha beach which was a plus for us!

Our second time staying at Best Western Inn, great location! Room is nice, shower head needs to be replaced, other than that really nice place. Loved the swimming pool! Would book again for our next stay. Recommend!

We were upgraded so hard to say what the usual rooms are like. Ours was great, Good breakfast, and staff were good. The courtyard I would interesting, Pool, 4 BBQs and picnic tables must make this a great family hotel. Wonder if some parties can get out of hand though? Need a car to get to the downtown core of Penticton. We enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here as part of Penticton Raceway opening weekend! Ten minutes from the track! Very nice rooms and layout of whole motel.... Breakfast was great with ample cold options and hot (eggs, waffles, bacon, sausages)! Service was excellent all around.... great value for price!

Had maintenance issues with the room that never dealt with. No room service when requested. All the pools where closed which wasn't updated on there website. This hotel needs a major renovation, not like any other best western I have stayed in.

Recent stay to see a concert in Penticton. The front desk staff were very friendly and efficient. While this is an older property, the rooms were very clean, the rain shower had excellent water pressure and the water temperature was great. Our only disappointment was to learn that the indoor pool and hot tub are currently under renovation. This would be an ideal property for a family stay especially when the weather is warmer, as the courtyard is amazing with an outdoor pool, multiple BBQ's and tables through a huge courtyard with beautiful large trees.

A quiet night in a clean, convenient room after the Irish entertainment was all we wanted. The check in was fast and friendly and the room easy to find and very quiet. This website wants a minimum of 200 characters in this review: how very droll.

This trip to Penticton was a couple's holiday to relax and get away. We also went for some early season climbing to celebrating my birthday and planned to stay overnight so we could go out for a nice, romantic dinner.

Stay April 5-7 2022 The building is old, the room we had smelled musty. Bet all the rooms are the same. This is the worst Best-western we every stayed. Room was not cleaned properly and stains on curtains and one pillow. Some front office staff were just rude, asked if I could get some cream for coffee that was in room, she said you get your cream in the morning rudely. The Morning breakfast was fine and that's it. I stayed in better hotel sixes and eights. Better motels on the beach for less This was about 20 min walk to the beach and lake walk. To be totally honest, I would not even stay here for free This at best is a 2 star budget hotel

Friendly staff, very clean, quiet room. Good selection of breakfast options. Excellent wifi & tv. keycard entry. Shopping, parks, beaches within walking distance. I see no reason to search for a better place to stay.

Super easy reservation by phone and very personable checkin. We felt very welcome. Treats and disposal baggies for the pet were appreciated. Breakfast was enjoyable in a bright open space with a great selection of food items to choose from.

Overpriced rooms, charged the wrong credit card. the breakfast was okay, but I will never go back. Look elsewhere in Penticton. Best Western has never let me down until this visit. The pool was shut down, and I wish I had never booked this hotel.

Okay well let's just start off with I made a reservation for this hotel for the 21st of January 2021 for $85 a night plus tax . On the 20th the night before I was to arrive in town I received an email that my credit card was charged $233 . Obviously I called the hotel right away to ask what was going on & the woman at the counter name Sarah told me I was charged for $233 because I didn't show up for my reservation on the 19th ! I kindly explained to her there was obviously a misunderstanding because I never booked the 19th. I said the 21st as I was coming to town for the birth of my granddaughter! She said the pool & hot tub both in & out we're out of service due to repairs needed & I went ahead & booked reservation. So needless to say I was a little ticked off when I found out they charged me for room that I never even planned on being at for 2 days later. The girl Sarah that was on phone with me was very dismissive & laughing at me when I was telling her she clearly misunderstood me on dates. Like it was a big joke to her! I contacted customer relations to let them know what was going on & that I wanted my money returned to me immediately & also that they never sent a reservation confirmation email at all. At that time I rebooked room for 21st yet again. I also stated if I didn't have my money returned to me & this wasn't addressed by location manager I would be cancelling my reservation & going elsewhere. The next day I got in my vehicle & headed towards Penticton which was a 4 & a half hour drive. Got to the hotel at 4 p.m. to have the woman at front desk tell me I did not have a reservation! After she searched she discovered my reservations were cancelled! Now I'm pissed! I ended up having to pay an extra $40 in order to book because I was booking on a Friday night! AGAIN another mess up by the hotel ! SO first you mess up on the date, charge me $233 because of your employee not listening...then I reschedule & you cancel on me? I could not freaking believe it! If it had not been for the fact that it was already 4 pm & I was tired & just wantinh to have a place to put my things so I could get to my granddaughter, I would have told them all the piss up a rope & left but against my better judgement... Well, let me tell you, this place was a dive. $60 highway motel at best! & I'm being gracious. The room stunk to high heavens of cigarette smoke, even though lady at front desk stated whole property was non-smoking!! Ummm if your hotel room smells like cigarette smoke this bad after it being a non-smoking location your not doing something right with your sanitation & cleaning methods! Just yuck! Inside the room I feel like I walked back into the 80's. Everything was so dated & it felt very unclean, not to mention the piece of snot that was wiped on the wall & never cleaned up & looked like it had been there for 10 years. There was only 1 power outlet in room, for table lamps on either side of the bed. They did not work because the only outlet did not work! If you do your job correctly housekeeping would at some point in time flip a switch & notice the outlet is not working or maybe they should be checking these things every once in awhile just for safety reasons!! To be honest it felt like they put me in this room just to say @#$! you to me. When back at 10p.m. after visiting my newborn granddaughter, immediately upon entering room my phone starts ringing. I pick it up & it's some weird guy asking if I want to @#$!! I hung up on him. By midnight getting c heads banging on my door, looking out peephole, I'm seeing them lighting a c pipe as they're banging on my door.. for over 10 minutes!!! I called front desk & the guy says "I'm looking in my cameras & I don't see anyone" I replied "well then maybe look at another camera because they're standing right outside my door banging on it" Again at 1 a.m.! There were 3 ways to get in my room" ffront door, back door & adjoining room door. I felt very unsafe in there with everything that was going on around me!!... At any time did I feel safe in that room? Hell no! I'm lucky if I slept an hour & a half. I could not wait to get out of there. Morning came & went upstairs for breakfast. They have an odd way of making eggs too. They put them in little MINI muffin tins like a quiche which is yucky & they were mushy. The only protein option they had were little squared honey hams. No bacon no sausage no orange juice. They had some bread which was air hard. Was not at all pleased. I'm usually really easy to please with breakfast scrambled eggs, bacon couple pieces of toast a muffin & I'm good. Not at this location. I have gone back & forth on whether I want to dispute the charges on my credit card because this was by far not worth the $139 they charged me to stay there. It really did put a bad taste in my mouth about Best Western. This particular hotel chain seemed to go downhill a lot over the last few years. I'm due to take a trip in April for 9 days & usually I stay at Best Western, but I am seriously rethinking it all! I wouldn't give this hotel 1 * No way, no how! Do not stay here if you want to feel safe or respected. PS I asked customer relations have the hotel manager contact me directly & instead of her contacting me directly she cancelled my reservation which was highly inappropriate & unprofessional. On a happy note, my granddaughter is beautiful & it was worth the trip. If you choose to stay at this hotel it's at your own discretion & good luck with that lol. Terrible customer service!

The check in/out staff were fabulous! Very friendly staff. The follow up phone in the room to check that our needs were met was surprising but appreciated. Clean rooms and great location for our needs.

we were upgraded to a great room really enjoyed how close we were to lake and a variety of stores to shop at. The front office staff were helpful and friendly with suggestions on where to eat - Penticton has a large variety of restaurants to chose from

Enrolee between Winnipeg and Victoria we stopped in Penticton for the night. After trying a couple of other motels (not welcoming of our dog), we found the Best Western Inn. Every aspect of our stay was superb - the room was very comfortable, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom was well-stocked, and the coffee maker worked - I can't say the same of the last motel we stayed at. When we went for breakfast today, I was amazed - best breakfast buffet I have ever seen in a motel. And all of the staff were friendly and helpful. I can't recommend this motel enough.

We rented a hotel from here for 5 nights throughout Christmas break and we were disappointed to have no hot water. We know it was close to Christmas you must of been bust but I'm paying 200$ a night for a big room, we have two kids and all they wanted was a bath buy we couldn't give them one. The water got warm if you ran it for over an hour but that's just a waste of water. Save yourself the headache and some money, avoid this place if you can.

Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend this Best Western, even though it is older. We liked being able to enter our room right from our vehicle. Good breakfast and helpful staff.

This is a clean , well maintained hotel close to downtown, a courtyard in the summer to enjoy, an indoor pool , with the lake close by, nice continental breakfast , nice area for walking , fairly quiet.

Great hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast. Room was great. The grounds are amazing, with a nice courtyard around the pool and a BBQ station set up. Wish I had been there in summer. Room was clean. Best of all minimal street noise.

Run of the mill Best Western. The desk clerk who checked us in was not at all attentive, when we called to book we were assured that our 2 rooms were next door to each other, however when we checked in they were at opposite sides and ends of the building, the young lady checking us in was not interested and did not apologize that things had been switched. The room was good and comfortable, carpet was a little spotty but otherwise clean. The breakfast was extremely good.

I have never been more disrespected in my life than I was by the front desk agent. The price had been changed since I booked, and you can only use credit. The front desk agent didn't believe my mom was a senior, and made me feel incredibly stupid. Good place, awful first experience. Will not be returning because of this.

While I believe that this hotel is an older establishment that has been purchased and rebranded as a best western. I do not believe it totally lives up to the best western name. However, the hotel is in a great location and all the staff there are 100% customer service oriented. I felt that all COVID protocols were being followed to keep everyone safe. The breakfast room the next morning is in a good spot in the hotel to sit by the window and see a view while having breakfast. The room was clean but I did find it strange that the patios were not separated and that people could walk past all the patio room doors. I would probably stay there again because of the customer service.

The staff at this hotel are great. Attentive and professional, they really do their best. Where the hotel falls short is in its appearance. It's a tired hotel. We had a non smoking room that reeked of cigarette, the windows were funky to open, the A/C was dirty and so the moment we turned it on we started coughing. The washroom is from the 80's, the furniture is outdated. The most disappointing is the cost. They charge way too much money for rentals and the rates should be at 20-25% less. Very disappointing and we will not be going back.

We have stayed at this BW in prior years and had a pleasant experience. However, this year was different for some reason. While there is no smoking allowed in the rooms or in the courtyard area, we encountered people smoking on their deck in the room next to us, people smoking in the courtyard area, people smoking at the picnic tables. We had to complain at least 3 times to the BW staff about people smoking at the hotel (and we only stayed here one night). In all the hotels/motels I have stayed at over the past many years, we have not had this problem. So clearly the BW staff were not explaining the no smoking policy to the guests. As well, they seemed only keen to enforce the policy if you complained. We have not had this problem in the past when staying here, but it definitely was a problem this year. As a non-smoker, we really don't like a vacation stay where you are battling cigarette smoke all the time... Other issues that we encountered were: 1) the room keys did not work when we checked in and got to the room, 2) we asked to move rooms after Issue #1 and the staff seemed like this was a big effort and told us that there was only 1 room available to move to -- even though it was pretty clear that the motel was not full; 3) we asked for an extra hour to checkout and were told a flat NO -- no late checkouts -- even though we noticed that the cleaning staff did not get to our room until 1.5 hours after the checkout time; 4) on checkout the front desk staff seemed not to care about all the smoking issues that we had. So for a one night stay, it was not really that enjoyable. The only good things were the pools and the complimentary breakfast.

I would not recommend any person of colour stay at this hotel. My parents stayed at this hotel in September 2021. The staff member working in the buffet area was horrible and overtly racist towards them. She stared at them while they ate breakfast on the first day. On the second day she ordered them to leave the buffet area while they were still eating. My parents are elderly and did not know what they did so they took their food and ate in their room. We spoke to an Indigenous family who were also treated badly by the same staff member during their stay. We observed her being friendly only to Caucasian guests. We requested to speak to the manager but the manager was “at the bank” for days. If you are BIPoC spend your money elsewhere- this business hires racist employees and doesn't care about their guests. It's been days and we are still waiting to hear back from the manager.

Getaway to the Okanagan for a few days. Staff was friendly, room was clean, and breakfast was a good mixture of hot and cold dishes. Was a short 10 minute drive to Okanagan Lake but walking distance to Skaha Lake. Would stay here again.

The best feature of this hotel is its clever arrangement of rooms surrounding a courtyard with pool, with parking around the outside, and an entry door at either end of the room – so you can park your vehicle next to the room's entrance, then go out the door at the opposite end of the room to access the courtyard. The rooms (based on ours) are spacious and comfortable – but no USB chargers, or even easily accessible power outlets, which is a curious omission in 2021. The Business Centre is just a desk in the small lobby room, so if the lobby room is occupied there isn't much quiet, but the computer itself is a new, HP model with up-to-date Windows installation. The buffet breakfast is comprehensive, and maintained despite COVID-19 restrictions (with masks and sanitizer, of course). But one wonders about its placement on the upper floor, for people with accessibility problems.

Nice hotel near the beach. The rooms are nice and have a fridge and microwave. There is an indoor pool and hot tub, and a nice outdoor pool. There are several BBQ's in the central yard, with tables and play ground equipment. The beach is not that far to walk, or a short drive. Lot's of free parking at the beach.

We stayed there on Friday Aug 20, checked in very late(-2 am - we were exhausted, there was a letter on the mattress boasting about best westerns impeccable cleanliness standards . When we opened up the blankets on the bed there was a couple of black curly hairs on it , upon further inspection there were hairs between the sheets and the mattress cover which was not attached properly, also hairs on the soap dish and on the “clean towels “ and the towels were also stained. I was too tired to complain so I just slept in my clothes. In the morning when I woke up the toilet didn't work and was clogged , I called the front desk to ask them to send over a plunger and they told me no , I'll have to come and get one. Very rude , way overpriced , for 300$+ you'd expect better , I stayed at cheaper motels for a fraction of that cost and at least the sheets were clean and the toilet worked ! I'll never go there again .

The team in place is very friendly and welcoming. Rooms are clean and comfortable with both an indoor and outdoor pool, I especially loved the bbqs in the courtyard for guests to use, what a great amenity! Paige and the front desk, Hazel in the breakfast room and other team members on the property were welcoming and friendly.

Our stay at the Inn at Penticton was definitely a mixed experience, especially bearing in mind that we were a party of five families (20 people in all) and would be spending just under $10,000 on the rooms alone. The first problem arose when we arrived. We had booked a room with two queen beds but were given a room with only one bed, raising the spectre of two of us having to sleep on the floor. The woman at the front desk seemed to have little interest in sorting it out, and told us to telephone Best Western Reservations (in Phoenix) ourselves and see if they or we could sort it out. Fortunately, the next day, Kelly, the manager, provided us with an appropriate room – but in the meantime the staff did nothing to address the problem, and were not even apologetic. The second problem was that, on the first day, my wife caught her forearm on a jagged edge of the swing gate to the pool area. The injury required stitches and two visits to a medical clinic. This meant that my wife was unable to use the pool or swim in the lake – a major disappointment as this was to be a key feature of the holiday. We brought this incident and injury to the same woman at the front desk, but again she showed little interest Thirdly, when we booked, we had been promised $25 gift tokens for each day of the stay, but these seem not to have materialized. On a positive note, the BBQ area was well maintained, and the ground maintenance staff seemed friendly and efficient.

Friendly, Knowledgeable staff, Wonderful complimentary breakfast that was always hot with a lot of variety. We travelled their while Forest Fires were happening and Covid percautions were in place and they handled everything very professionally. We will definitely be returning next year.

Amazing staff that is ready.to make your stay enjoyable. The hotel has an outdoor pool also an indoor pool. The complimentary buffet breakfast is everything the kids and adults would want without leaving the property. The courtyards have gas and coal BBQ's for everyone to use. We go every year and will continue to go every year.

The Location is great because it's very close to skaha. But this hotel needs a serious upgrade. The stairs to get to and floor are steep a little rickety. The cleanliness is ok. Considering it is still covid though, it should be excellent. There was a used contact lens case on the floor in the bathroom, right under the sink. Goes to show how well the staff are cleaning. The beds are extremely hard. For the price of the hotel..3 nights $1000, I expect better comfort. I could stay in a older motel if I wanted bad beds. The outdoor pool area is great and so is the grassy area Front desk staff are never overly pleasant. I understand it's busy and summer...but a smile goes a long way. I've stayed here for 5 years. Unfortunately I will try somewhere new next year, as my complaints are usually the same and nothing ever seems to be fixed

Front Desk answered our phone call and immediately assured us that he would hold a room for us. When evacuated from Oliver BC fires, he understood that it was important to know we had a place to stay. When we needed a second night, GM Kelly let us stay in first room until next room was ready. This saved us lugging 2 dogs and all our stuff to the car while room being prepped. Hotel was booked full and we were lucky there was a cancellation. Kelly and her team made sure to offer it to us in these harrowing circumstances. Thank you to everyone at the BW Penticton! You guys rock!

This BW is a great location to vacation with a large group of friends & family with the large grassy courtyard, outdoor pool, & indoor pool, 2 blocks from the beach. Lots of parking for boats and trailers. Friendly and helpful staff! My kids can't wait to go back again.

Stayed for a few nights just to get away since travel has been restricted with Covid. Upon arrival, my wife went to check in, not realizing only one person allowed in, she went outside and watched the gentleman's wife walk in and not be asked to wait outside. Once she got in to register, another person came in and stood right inside the door and nothing said to her about one person only. Our room was right next to the mechanical room and seemed like every 20 minutes this horrible sound like an industrial vacuum happening, vert disturbing and carried on all night as well. TV in bedroom on a stand and can barely walk by it to get to bed, maybe consider a smaller TV and put on the wall. Kitchen was stocked well enough but dishes old and could use a change up. The sheers on the patio door were stained and you could see where they had been mended. Couch also had stains, and the room had an odor to it. Breakfast was available for the first time since Covid, you had to go it but wS a good selection. Last morning wanted breakfast in our room, stove didn't work. Property really needs an update. Weren't acknowledged as an Elite member until last minute after checking in.

We had a very pleasant 3 night stay here with our dog Lola. We live in town but had work being done at our home so i had to set up a full computer desk and work from the hotel which worried me regarding the internet not being high speed, it was, not an issue at all! The staff were amazing, friendly and super helpfull. And the take away breakfast did not disappoint. I would stay here again forsure and recommend to family and friends. Thanks to the staff again for being so great!

love the patio tables and green area in front of the rooms, grounds are always clean and tidy ,indoor and outdoor pools, close to the beach ,breakfast included and before covid was a great breakfast, and with covid still a good effort put forth

Had a room booked for someone that is disabled with a service dog, down on their luck So had a one night stay booked and went to extend it for 5 nights. Front desk advised they would not extend the stay. When asked if there had been a problem (which i doubted but wanted to ask ) was informed Managers decision no extension, no reason. When I called to talk to the manager I was not able to do so and again it was repeated Manager decision, no reason required, no extension. I understand there is the right to refuse service, but it should be based on some circumstance, but according the BW they do not need one. How sad, in this time when a small struggling tourist community rallies to help, that a business still operating refuses to step up. shameful

Pool deck being replaced. Construction noise constant from 8:30am. Work crew was very loud and were arguing and cussing. After work they would sit in the courtyard drinking and being very loud as late as 11:00pm. I would avoid this place for the next couple of weeks.

Rooms were fairly clean, few issues with stains on furniture n linen. Used wash cloths in drawers. During Covid, the attention to detail was not as expected. Meeting rooms were clean. Other than these few issues, it was ok willing to try location in the future.

If you enjoy the sound of a Loud Gas Powered leaf blower to wake up to, then this is the place for you. It starts around 9am, I guess they want to make sure their guests don't overstay or have any chance of sleeping in. We stayed for 2 days and for 2 days this happened. They use a loud Gas powered leaf blower to blow all the debris from the trees from the parking lot back into the tree area then the wind picks up throughout the day and the debris blows back into the parking lot and so on. I guess they never heard of a broom, dust pan and recycling bin.

The room was nice; the bed was nice; the in room coffee was decent; the service was great; and the internet was good. The price was reasonable too. I am writing more so I can meet the minimum number of characters.

Like the subject line says, it was the quality and the professionalism of the Front Desk agents that made all the difference. BW is a solid and reliable choice for a hotel so when something is extraordinary it deserves to be shared with others. As the "face" of the hotel the front desk staff definitely showed that they were making the customer the most important person. I felt like they were welcoming me into their own home rather than a hotel , which after a long drive in not the best weather conditions made me feel like I was home . Thanking you for not being average and not being happy with "good enough".

The property has been renovated and is popular based on its proximity to the beach however the rooms are small in comparison to other facilities and the construction of the building results in extreme noise coming from adjacent rooms, including conversations , walking etc.....................if you are looking for a quiet place to sleep or relax these rooms do not accommodate

Not as good as prior visits and hoping Covid played a part in our opinion. Room definitely dated. Bring your own pillow if you want a good rest or risk waking with sore neck.Breakfast included was pre-packaged due to Covid but no option to request what you might eat and instead found much went into the waste basket.

Looks way better in the photos. Stayed here for two nights, Valentine's Day weekend 2021, with my husband. Bed is very uncomfortable, they didn't bother cleaning much at all in the pool area or in the rooms, and only after payment they inform you that you have no housekeeping service. Walls are very thin; could hear everything from my neighbors next door, outside, and above us. Even their phones ringing. The food for breakfast - while better than the Hilton and Hampton's covid friendly versions right now - were cheap and singular, and we couldn't get more if we were still hungry. We also couldn't pick and choose and were given a box full of things we either were allergic to or couldn't eat or disliked. The hot tub is boiling hot, too - literally too hot to even be inside. My husband got dizzy in it after a minute. I work in the pool industry; the warmer the water is, the more bacteria that festers and builds. If the water is so hot it's because they aren't treating the water with the proper pool chemicals, therefore it isn't safe for public use because they aren't cleaning or sanitizing the water properly. Overall a huge waste of $200. I've never had such a horrible experience at Best Western - literally is just an over-glorified grotesque motel. If you're set on a Best Western, skip the one in Penticton and go straight for West Kelowna (never been but at least it isn't this one).

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Clean and comfortable rooms. Little doggy trat bags were offered and there is a grassy area out back for them to do their business. Lovely breakfast was offered .

My 32 year old son son is deaf autistic and stays annually at the best western Penticton for his Christmas visit. This year we were told there would be no room cleaning on Christmas or boxing days. Okay, however the 3 following days had no cleaning as well. His rooms garbage was overflowing and his floor needed a vacuuming but this didn't happen. Paige at the front desk, during checkout, told me that we had to make arrangements for this with the front desk during our stay. No where was this written down in the room, and it was not mentioned to us at check in. Also our son does not speak, he did not know what to do about this. I asked for a room credit or ‘something' but was told that there was nothing Paige could do. My wife and I were not impressed.

If you are from AB DO NOT stay here! They knew in advance we were there for end of life visit with our brother just diagnosed with terminal cancer.. They were rude- hostile. Although almost empty they gave us the worst room in the huge facility. Under a metal stairwell. We are elderly. We wore masks and used hand sanitizer whenever we went into the lobby. Staff did not wear masks or had them below their noses in our presence. They rolled their eyes and were rude to my sister in law who was crying. Told us we had to leave by 11 am although we had two more days.

Clean nice spot with great amenities and close to lake,Due to covid it was a grab and go breakfast which was pretty good,the regular breakfasts at this location is very good.Pool and hottub were still open so that was a suprise

I have stayed at this hotel many times. It's centrally located and easy to get to either lake. The hotel is a bit older but in very good shape. The centre court yard areas is great in the summer. I have always been impressed with the staff

Noisy - you can hear people slamming their doors, cleaning staff rolling their carts around, if you are on the upper floor even folks rolling their luggage past your room will send vibrations throughout your bed. Word of caution to light sleepers and noise sensitive folks like myself. My room was not very clean. Found hair in the fridge, base boards haven't been wiped in ages, stains on the walls, cobwebs strung across the ceilings of the bathrooms, the main access way to the upper rooms reeked of pee, dishes/cutlery/drawers dirty..........just didn't feel clean although the place vows that they are exercising extra precautions due to Covid according to the 2 page pamphlet they give you that drones on and on about how diligent they are. The condition of the rooms say otherwise. The rooms are dark. Even opening the blinds won't help much as the windows are small (in the bedroom) or the sitting room window has an overhang on the outside that completely blocks out all light. Feels like you are a cave dweller. On a positive note, there's plenty of parking and the staff are friendly. However, the place is not worth the price they charge. Wish I had stayed down the road in one of the cheaper motels with a kitchenette. Willing to bet that they would have been a lot quieter and cleaner, and I would have saved myself a few hundred bucks. Guess I know better for next time.

Pretty good for money we paid. Room was clean. Only breakfast was not that good , but because of COVID-19 its reasonable. Hotel is located on good location, that you can next day continue your travel.

One of the best and most comfortable hotels in the Best Western family. I'm going again next week and plan to stay at the same hotel. Great pool, comfortable rooms and beautiful courtyard. Please note, It is better to bring bicycles into the rooms, as there are a lot of homeless people in this aria. In the future, I would like to see hot coffee in the lobby, as this is done by a hotel in Kamloops. Overall great super friendly and helpful hotel staff.

I perhaps don't know the true meaning of "Inn", none the less the place is more of a motel. There was no problems with staff, they were all friendly. It depends on what you are in town for, but you are on the opposite side of downtown Penticton. The beds were comfortable, and if your just looking for a place to rest your head, then by all means. I was impressed with the courtyard and covered barbecue cooking are. Other then that I think the place is in need of an upgrade, as it is very aged. Others commented on the furnishings, while I would be more concerned about the stairwells and upper walkways. The age and state of repairs and cleanliness on the outside of this place are clearly showing. I expected more from a Best Western, and although "I used my points for this stay", I can say the same thing with the context emphasizing a different part of that phrase.

Staff were very friendly, from front desk to the housekeeper who took great care of us. Rooms were top notch clean! COVID precautions were taken seriously. Would recommend and will stay here again. Thanks for the great stay!

Checked into this property for a nice little "get away" First they were not ready for a 4pm check in, however by 6pm I was able to check in. This property is rather dated and a major overhaul is in order. The carpet appeared to have some type of stain , as well as the sofa...lovely! The bathroom had a "chipped" tub and a burnt out light....beautiful! The bed itself was clean and comfortable but all the furniture looked like it was from the 90's. Staff was pleasant overall and that made it somewhat tolerable. I really hope that corporate office does a major revamp of this property. I expected more from this chain but was sadly disappointed :(

We stayed at the best western & sofa bed was dirty & we had to wear masks to enter lobby but the staff wasn't. Super disappointed considering Covid. When we called to complain they said we had to come to the front desk to get new sheets etc as tgere was no housekeeping.

We stayed at this hotel in their deluxe king suite. Was essentially a 2 floor condo with a full kitchen, lounge and a bedroom upstairs. Was lovely if a little dated. The breakfasts were great, swimming pool nice and it felt safe as far as covid is concerned. Main issue we had was the smokers who sat in the courtyard just below our balcony. What about the 6m from an entrance rule? Saying that we had a great stay.

This BW was in a good location on the less busy side of Penticton (less than 5 min drive to Skaha Lake). BW provided all the basics plus a grassy area with shade trees & a pool for kids. It is dog friendly & it felt & was a safe & friendly place to stay. Appreciated the boxed breakfast to go meal.

We enjoyed our stay at this family friendly complex. It's a classic motel style complex with external entry rooms, and a central common grounds area with pool, patio tables, loungers, play area etc., while parking is available directly outside of each room. Where the complex lacks in modern features, it rings the bell with comfort for visiting families. Rooms are comfortable as well, although a refresh of paint, carpet and furnishings would not be a bad thing either. The hotel is ideally situated within walking distance to Skaha Lake Beach, as well as some amenities up the road. However, those wanting to be closer to DT area might prefer to stay along Lakeshore Dr instead. The complimentary breakfast is served daily and consists of a to go container that includes pancake, muffin/cake, snack bar, cheese, juice, fruit, etc. Covid 19 measures also in place. Solid family stay and will be back again next time

I was forced to change room (no one told me that during my reservation) and I lost a day of my family vacation. The hotel handled poorly this change and forced me to keep carrying my luggage for a whole day. And if you are expecting someone to clean your room, forget it.

We enjoyed the pool and we slept well. We had issues with the TV not working and the AC being too cold. We were unable to resolve either issue and it was too late in the evening to have the hotel address them. Over all it was a good stay and I would recommend the hotel. The peak season prices are a touch on the high side though.

This hotel is more of an older Best Western, but overall kept up nicely. The outdoor pool and little common area outside is great for family's looking to have BBQ during the summer. Due to covid this year we did not use the pools.

I sent a message via the Best Western website 3 times asking to confirm a pet friendly room. Nobody replied to me. I finally called the hotel and the lady on the phone needed some manners. Even though you are a discounted hotel, some customer service still required for paid customers. Inconsistency on pet charges on the website. Don't pride yourself for long history of great brands if you do not employ people who can deliver, please, you are ruining your brand repetition. I might as well stay in a 2 star motel.

This was our first time staying at Best Western in Penticton BC. Great outdoor area and pools. We booked a 2 bedroom online and was deceived by room types.There was 5 of us to this room and they classified 2 bdrm with 1 room 2 queens separated by sliding doors that could not close properly. The entire "suite" room was very dirty, old food left in cupboard from previous ppl. Earwigs. Mold. The fridge was the size of 2 mini fridges stacked on top of each other. Breakfast box was not edible. We stay in Penticton every year at another place. This place is definitely not worth the price you pay. Overpriced for the room we got. Due to covid there was not housekeeping(understandable) but they did not replenish or put extra of towels, toilet paper, coffee, garbage bags extra bedding to make up for no housekeeping. We stayed 4 nights.

My family of 6 stayed here in a 2 bedroom suite. Our suite was comfortable, but a little small for the size of our family, but that was not unexpected. I found the beds comfortable which is good because I can have trouble sleeping in hotel beds. We did run into some service issues, and cleanliness issues but after speaking to the manager, they were resolved to our satisfaction. (The staff could be a little more accommodating and empowered to make decisions, rather than having to take problems to the manager). The best thing about this place is their courtyard. It has lots of shade and patio tables. The barbecues and barbecue stations are well maintained and of decent quality. The suite kitchens can be better equipped. Our knives were dull, probably because of the glass cutting board. There were no oven trays which would have been helpful to use the oven. There is very little counter space to prepare food. We can recommend this place if you are not looking for anything fancy. We found it to have great value, and are planning to stay here again.

We stayed 3 nights at the hotel and we really enjoyed hotel environment specially during night when we were using BBQ facility. Besides, Hotel is very close to Skaha beach and you can enjoy your time in beach and the park in the beach.

the room was clean and quiet. We don't find hotel pillows to be comfortable because they are always too big so we didn't get a restful sleep. Some bottled water would have been nice as well. I had some trouble using the WiFi because the password was shown as higher case letters when it actually should have been all lower case. At check in, we were told about the Grab & Go breakfast option for the next morning, but the next morning I had to mention it because the staff didn't.

The pictures for this hotel are very misleading, as all of the room are off balcony's, with no interior building rooms. The rooms smell smokey and the washrooms are so tiny, you can barely swing the door open. The hotel is dingy and gross. Staff is not overly friendly and could care less about accommodating clients. For the rate they charge, Best Western should be renovating this completely. Pools were not open. Breakfast was boxed. Who wants an old boiled egg?

Stayed for one night in a double queen room, checked my visa two days later they charged me $600. I phoned and was told to phone back tomorrow after 3. Room was tired, toilets looked like something out of an RV, place needs Renos badly. Morning breakfast box was inedible.

Don't bother staying at the BW Penticton. The front desk staff is rude, they falsely advertise promotions that have expired and the breakfast is horrible(ie stale muffins and brown fruit). The hotel is at max 50% capacity and we had people walking above our bottom floor room all night. So many better places to stay in Penticton.

My husband and I stayed in Penticton at BW with our dog. It was a great layout and we really appreciated having a door to the courtyard to take our dog out. The yard was very clean and the pool areas were spotless. The room was well set up but we were given double beds instead of queen . That was our only disappointment ..

The rooms were very clean, my kids loved the pool and hot tub and the breakfast was the best I've ever had staying at any hotel. The selection of the food choices were excellent. I hope to be back to Penticton so we can stay there again

Friendly and most helpful staff during checkouts and check Ins. Nice big room,very spacious and clean. Lots of food choices for breakfast and cheerful staff to be sure your needs are fully met. Excellent location to restaurants and shopping,will look forward to staying here again!

enjoyed the quiet just slightly away from the hubbub of town but close enough. Had a fridge issue but otherwise the stay was great. Even had a deer sitting under the tree outside to avoid the snow . Was very clean

We booked a king room with a kitchenette. We did our own cooking and the kitchen was fully stocked. The room was older but clean and the bed and pillows were great! The pool and hot tub were good, hot and clean. Breakfast was included and there was a large variety of options. I didn't ask about gluten free options. We were here to ski Apex mountain and Baldy mountain. Apex is 30 minutes away and Baldy is over an hour. The location was good and close to Skaha Lake. I would stay here again.

This was a very nice hotel for the price. It is a little dated, but the rooms are very very large and the breakfast was great. We had a 2 queen room that had a large kitchen table in the corner. The hotel has both indoor and outdoor pools as well as a hot tub. I would definitely come back.

I am always disappointed with BW(and other chains) breakfasts because of the use of single use plastic. Most BW hotels contribute literally tons of plastic waste to landfills all over the world. This Best Western in Penticton BC is the exception. Imagine having your nice breakfast on a real plate using metal cutlery. Having your coffee in a real mug. What a treat gastronomicly and what a comfort to know your breakfast meal does not result in a pile of plastic cutlery and plates and cups that will most certainly end up in local landfills. The hotel industry is a major contributor to this unneccesary waste and I hope that BW managment will follow the lead of the Penticton location to begin using reusable cups, plates and cutlery to serve their breakfasts. (yes of course they need to washed but I suggest this can be done responsibly) Still an issue with this and all BW that I know of is the use of small plastic containers for soaps, shampoos and rinse products. These products can and should be available in pump style dispensers. What a simple change that would keep tones of soap and chemicals and plastic out of landfills all over the world. Thank you for thinking of yours children and mine and future generations when deciding on practices, proceedures and products in your hotel.

Found dirty dishes with food on it in the cabinets of the suite. Also found the floors and bathrooms were not very clean. The pool was good quality and staff were friendly to deal with. Hotel was pet friendly.

Selected this location as central in Okanagan. When we arrived we were greeted by very pleasant staff at reception and given some information regarding parking and breakfast location. Room was very spacious and clean. Very well equipped with a small seating area and large TV with many channel selections. A nice touch was that you could leave a note for housekeeping that allowed them NOT to refresh towels and bedding to save energy. Breakfast area was up flight of stairs but there is an elevator. Breakfast area staff were all very friendly and assured that items were kept well supplied. Nice selection of hot items each day. Hotel was busy but never noisy. Located close to a number of restaurants. An excellent stay and highly recommended

Everything about my stay was excellent. The staff, the room, the amenities and the breakfast were all superb. I have stayed here before and have found that the new owners and new management are making great strides to constantly inprove the experience.

This is a hotel we stay at annually as we spend Christmas with family at OKanagawa Falls. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Free Wi-Fi and a great free breakfast in the morning. Would highly recommend this hotel

Never been disappointed when booking here. Staff very friendly and helpful and many times they have given me bonuses with my stay. Like upgraded room at no extra charge. My first choice when needing accommodations in Penticton. Can not wait for my next stay in April.

We stayed the night as we were late getting in. from Calgary The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Great sleep. The breakfast was very good, one of the best we've had in a very long time. The lady working the area was very nice and quit helpful.

good clean hotel, GREAT staff, close to what we needed will return with family in the summer. The breakfast was more than enough for the two us us and freash with a great variety to pick from. The room was clean and in great repair, slept very good ( nice and Quiet ) he pool could have been a bit warmer but the hot tub made up for it.

Room was clean and bed was comfy. That being said was frustrating to come back to the room and not be able to access the internet or have the plug ins beside the bed (lamps didn't work, alarm clock and could not plug in electronics). While breakfast is included, it was fairly awful. The cold i.e cereal and pastries were just fine, but hot breakfast was soggy and under cooked.

Always a great stay at this hotel. Second time staying here and we will for sure come back next time we are in town. Thanks to management for upgrading our room to a suite! That was an added bonus. Breakfast is good and the pool is nice. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

Rooms are clean but this hotel is somewhat dated. The rate was very reasonable in November and it worked fine for my business trip. Staff was great. Twenty to thirty minute walking distance to some restaurants and pub. Really enjoyed the Barley Mill pub. Typical free breakfast.

Although somewhat dated, the space worked really well for the 5 of us. So awesome to have 2 bathrooms and a little kitchen. Having a hot breakfast included makes it so much easier travelling with 4 kids. Staff was excellent.

The Hot Tub was not hardly warn. Even after the maintenance staff was notified it did not get hot Just lukewarm. Don't know if there was some kind of boiler problem. People came and only stayed a few minutes and because they were cold they left.

Very quiet room and a wonderful breakfast. Easy access from the highway and centrally located for our needs. The gal at the front desk was very helpful in finding us a wonderful place to have dinner. We plan to stay here when we come back to Penticton.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel very much. It was a lovely clean and quiet suite. The staff was very pleasant from the front desk staff to housekeeping (who left a very nice note hoping we enjoyed our stay), to the ladies who ran the breakfast. Check in and out was very fast and efficient. Our suite was located at the back of the hotel so it was very quiet. So overall I would give this hotel a very high rating.

We liked this place, good breakfast and felt clean. The indoor heated pool was a bit cold so that was a bummer. We were told by another guest it was warm the last time they stayed, so maybe it was a fluke. Beds were a little hard for me so it wasn't my favorite but my hubby and kids slept good so it's a preference thing. Kids enjoyed the stay!

Great stay, they changed my room for me, was in a area with a kids hockey team. Moved me to a suit. Was wonderful. Pool was very cold and hot tub was not hot. Breakfast was wonderful. Lots to choose from

Good location in south Pentiction. Friendly, helpful staff. This is a large, older two-level walk-up motel complex that is well kept and has--at least the room we were given--quite a large room with comfortable king bed, very clean and recently updated with fresh paint and flooring. Breakfast was great and the women who looked after the breakfast bar did a super job!

This is an older but very well maintained hotel. Service was excellent, bed was very comfortable, breakfast was very good and there is a lovely lady taking care of the breakfast room. Quiet area and our room opened onto the pool area. Not sure if it would be quiet in summer but there are so many rooms you don't have to be close to pool or playground area. It is close to shopping and restaurants We would definately stay at this hotel again.

We stopped here for one night on our way east. They have updated rooms, a beautiful breakfast, and friendly staff. We were upgraded (due to our rewards gold status) and had bathrobes in our room, which was a nice touch.

We were very pleased with the comfort of the bed and the size of the pillow. I couldn't keep an internet connection it would say I was connected than tell me I had no internet connection. This is suppose to be 200 words and this is all l have to say.

Everything was clean, modern and the service was great! We needed early check-in and that was no problem. The GM went above duty and provided unexpected but much appreciated extras to our group. We will be back.

We stayed for 2 nights and can say nothing wrong with this hotel. Front desk made us feel welcome and were always ready to answer any question. The buffet Breakfast was great, no lack of food. Rooms were spotless . Easy access of the highway . Close to restaurants .

The STAFF were very polite, helpful and a good sense of humour. The General Manager was very helpful and pleasant, WELL DONE. The breakfast had a very good selection of food to satisfy the guests and the Staff were also very helpful and kept food stocked up when running low. Will stay there again when I comeback to Penticton. Also within walking distance to the Beach, Pubs and shopping malls.

We had reserved accommodation months before but when we arrived on a Saturday we received a very cool reception and informed that accommodation could not be reserved in advance. We were allocated a room which had a view of a flight of stairs although it appeared that better situated rooms were unoccupied. We asked to speak to the manager but were told she was not available until Monday. When we spoke to her on Monday she was totally unsympathetic and said if we didn't like it we could leave but with no refund for days booked! We had used this motel for three years before this we had the friendly, helpful reception expected in sharp contrast to the "take it or leave it" this time. It doesn't provide the welcoming attitude expected of the Best Western chain.

Spent 5 days at the hotel and everything perfect. Would recommend this hotel in a minute. The breakfast is excellent with a full hot breakfast or if you just want toast and friut. The ladies keep it clean and the food is always full. The pool/hot tub was great.

Third time staying here and still love it! Will always come back each time I come to penticton! Staff is always so welcoming and nice! Rooms have all the necessities and the location is perfect!! Highly recommend

Although the outside of the hotel looks a bit dated , the room was definatly updated, and very comfortable. The only problem we had was with the TV remote, but that could be operator error, as we do not have telus tv at home. Staff were great, as I have come accustomed to with Best Western. As I said, another nice stay.

This is an excellent hotel to stay in Penticton British Columbia. The location is great, the hotel is extremely well taken care of, very clean, spacious rooms, wonderful breakfast, an indoor and outdoor pool, beautiful grounds, the staff were great and the list goes on and on. AN ABSOLUTE MUST STAY

Hotel room was poorly laid out, with some space basically unusable. Room furniture was good, but interferred with passage through the room from door to door. Keurig was too high for short people to easily reach. However, the breakfast was excellent.

I stay at a lot of Best Western Hotels and this has been the worst ! They are very small old and dirty rooms ! They need some TLC this makes Best Western look bad. Even the staff are not the friendliness. Shame ! The only thing that was a plus was the Breakfast was pretty decent but that is a lot of money to Pay for just a good breakfast!!

Staff is very friendly and helpful. I always travel with my dog and this was no problem. The breakfast had many options to choose from and food was fresh, This was my 3rd time staying here and will return.

If you're staying in a downstairs room prepare to hear all the stomping from the guests on 2nd floor. Also noise from next door suites goes right through the walls. Breakfast was good with a nice variety of food options. Staff were friendly. Beds were comfy. Our tub didn't drain.

This room was nice. I like the small table with two chairs, although we often had to move one away from the fan. If I hadn't been with my husband I doubt I could have made coffee because the coffee machine is very high up. The free breakfast was good.

Enjoyed our visit to BW Hotel Penticton. Comfortable room, nice indoor pool & hot tub for cooler weather as well as nice park like courtyard with picnic tables bbq & outdoor pool. Enjoyed the full breakfast with real plates & cutlery ( instead of paper & plastic).

The website states check in time to be 4 pm. We arrived just past 5 and were told the room isnt ready yet. Still waiting at the lobby for the room to be ready and its 5.40pm. I was told 4 pm is an approximate time. But an hour and 40 min after the stated check in time is a little too much I think.

Excellent room, excellent staff. I felt like I was at home with friends. The room was clean and comfortable. Although I did not use either of the pools they were clean and welcoming. Nice variety of breakfast options.

We were in Summerland for reunion. I stay at Best Western when we can. It is a large facility; definitely geared for families of all age groups. We didn't get to use pool and other facilities. But would bring our grandkids and recommend to our family and friends.

We decided to stay here as we travel through Penticton as it was a Best Western and with the name we thought it would be a good call as we have stayed here many times in the past. Boy were we wrong! As soon as we pulled up we were instantly greeted by an unhappy and very rude staff member when we wanted to check in. She informed me that the room was not ready and said she would call when it was....well guess what that call never came! We came back at 4:30 to a line up of other guests checking in because rooms were not ready. They were unapologetic about the no phone call and the rooms not being ready. They were clearly overwhelmed and unorganized. When we finally got to our room it was not what we expected. There is some rooms that face the court yard but ours faced the parking lot. Stuck in the corner to have the lovely sound of people parking and unloading their cars! Oh and if you are coming with your fur baby take note that the pet area is a piece of weed infested “grass” that is used for overflow parking as well. It's located at the back of the hotel along a alley fence attached to the garage bins. So you will have to travel somewhere else to play and run your pet. I may have been a little cranky after my lack of sleep due to the parking lot noice but the breakfast is mediocre at best. First I was greeted by a lady taking attendance like I was going to steal food! The pre made omelets were cold and rubbery, the waffle came out in chucks as it got stuck to the plates and there was no syrup. Penticton is a tourist town and there are lots of options for accommodation. We won't be back .....

Ours was a three-night stay as we attended the annual Pentastic Jazz Festival in Penticton, BC. Overall the stay was pleasant, but as much a result of the staff as it was the accommodations. This is an older hotel, but they have done a decent job of upkeep and trying to maintain the traditional quality of BW, so kudos to the owners and staff for the efforts. But, it is clearly older and the age has taken its toll in certain areas. While generally clean, there are issues on some of the bathroom moldings – it is likely not mold, but there is some dirt buildup that is unappealing. We were in a suite, I believe, and the bedroom was really too small to accommodate the queen-size bed, since to pass between the bed and the nightstand required some care. Because the entry into the room is on tile, with no mat onto which we could wipe our feet, the tile showed our (dirty) tracks when coming in from the wet and rainy walkway, so ultimately when we reached the carpet of the main room our shoes ended up being cleaned on that surface. A simple floor mat in the entry would have eliminated that issue and would keep the main carpet considerably cleaner. The bed was comfortable and the climate/temperature was easy to control; the bathroom was small and the counter space was limited but adequate. Breakfasts were the standard fare of most hotels these days, although they get credit for serving some delicious fresh fruit from the orchards in the area during breakfasts. Coffee is available during the day in the lobby. The hotel staff were personable, courteous, and helpful in all regards. They seemed genuinely interested in ensuring our stay was comfortable. It is difficult to assign a numerical rating in this case because the hotel is not up to the general standards of, say, the Hampton Inns that we are used to staying in; but for the age of the hotel – it works and was adequate. We'll give them a 3-star rating only because we cannot give them a 3.5-star out of five. Were it not for the staff it would likely be a 3-star.

Check in was 4 o'clock and we couldn't get our room until close to 5. The front counter staff was unnecessarily rude... she yelled at our dog (off leash but was well behaved) instead of politely informing us of the municipal bylaw. The carpet in our room was wet... gross... we had to wear our shoes all the time. Penticton has many hotels; shop around before booking here instead of making the assumption that because it's a Best Western it would be pretty good. We definitely will be staying elsewhere.

The hotel on the exterior is dated. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. the hotel has an inner court yard with a pool and barbeques to enjoy an out door meal. The indoor pool looks great from the outside and appears to be the most updated part of the hotel. The breakfast was your standard continental fair The front desk staff were very friendly. good for motorcycles as you can park up front near the front desk and they will keep an eye on your ride. overall the hotel itself is just plain and could use to be updated on the exterior

Great place to go to with young kids. Big grassy area, indoor and outdoor pool. They have an expansive breakfast that caters to the pickiest of eaters. Some rooms have been updated. BBQ ‘s available to use as well as tables and chairs outside. Lovely grounds.

We stayed at the Best Western and the Days Inn to compare the two hotels. The Best Westerns room decor and layout were much nicer and the amenities were significantly better but I would highly recommend staying on the second floor as the walls are paper thin so we could hear the people upstairs, outside and beside us. This hotel had a great location close to Skaha Lake but if you were looking to be near the downtown strip that is a bit of a drive (Skaha'a beach is very nice and quieter but Okanagen is where most people consider the action to be). The breakfast was fantastic and hands down between the two, the much better value. The BW hotel was also greener for those who are more environmentally conscious. Overall I would stay at this hotel again maybe bring earplugs.

The rooms are good and clean. The staff is very forth coming - accommodating and helpful. When we needed help to get things up to our room, we did not have to ask, the offered. At breakfast, the staff were on top of it and the food and service just flowed.

Upon checking in, Jamie, was very pleasant and efficient. The room was a nice size, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and the staff member was helpful. Nice balcony looking over the courtyard, with pool, play ground, picnic tables and large grass area. I would stay here again.

I am a Best Western Diamond Select member who frequently stays at Best Western Properties. Unfortunately, this property fell below my expectations. Initially, although the hotel was clearly dated from the exterior (this has been the case at other properties that still offer an amazing stay), we were greeted by a fantastic front desk staff member who was pleasant, had everything ready for us quickly and was eager to help us with our stay. We proceeded to our room, which again was dated, but clean. After that, things went downhill. We were woken up early in the morning by construction occurring on the property right across the roadway outside our room. Nobody had advised us of this construction and early morning noise when we booked our room or when we checked in. We proceeded to breakfast eager to start our day. We were faced with long line-ups for food and no tables available to sit at. The one service staff present appeared flustered and was not pleasant to interact with at all. We opted for the waffles as part of our meal, which looked great. Unfortunately, we were sadly disappointed when we found the topping options were what appeared to be a blueberry pie filling and what appeared to be strawberry colored water with literally a couple of strawberries in it. This was sadly disappointing when we were in the heart of the Okanagan with an abundance of fresh fruit stands with amazing fruit. Upon checkout, I requested a receipt for my stay despite booking the stay on points as I was looking for confirmation of my stay for business purposes. The front desk staff insisted she could not give me any receipt to confirm my stay because I had booked it on points. I have stayed at a lot of Best Western properties and this was unfortunately my worst experience by a long shot. If you are looking for an incredibly busy hotel with mediocre service a minimum of 1 km walk to the beach and a few kms from the downtown core in north Penticton with an early wake up call from construction, this is the place for you.

This hotel needs a major gut. It's very old, the rooms smell, couches look like they came from a homeless camp (dirty, ripped and smelly), dirty carpets, uncomfortable pull out, bathtubs don't drain, there's no water pressure, pipes are loud, lighting is poor and one electrical outlet per room. The outdoor pool wasn't any better, just dirty and not heated even though it says it's heated. Went twice to use it and there was a film of oil floating on top, the water was sort of dark so never went in. Not an enjoyable stay and definitely not staying there again. No electric charging stations for Teslas either

We stayed here again for about the 10th time and it was very nice. Convenient and amenities are good. Staff were friendly. BBQ area is a nice addition so you can enjoy family and friends without having to go out all of the time. It would be nice to have supplys available to use for the non suite rooms, but who would still use the BBQ.

we had a great stay at the Best Western Inn at Penticton. It was our second visit to this hotel and would definitely stay again when back in the area. Free breakfast is excellent! Staff are friendly! room was great and enjoyed the pools.

Nice hotel and a good location for food and shopping. The breakfast selection is good and is refilled often. Overall the facilities are pretty good, however the facility is a bit older and could use some updating (i.e. hot tub). There are a lot of unsupervised kids around so at times it can get a bit noisy. but overall a lot of time to relax in the sun or there is always shade available due to the trees. Lots of comfortable seating for everyone.

Reception and room very clean. Good variety on for breakfast. Pool area getting dated but clean. Nice courtyard with Bbq's to use, Good kids areas and sandbox if you have kids. They were playing a movie outdoors for the kids.

Very nice staff and lots for breakfast. Hot pool was not working when we went but the cold pools in and out was good. It was very hot when we were there but the A/C was working great. We would have liked a coffee pot machine not a one cup coffee machine

I usually stay at more upscale places, but the Best Western was the only property in Penticton that we found that would let us book just one night. Booked a two room suite so my friends and I would not be on top of each other. This is a basic 3* hotel, that really delivers in a few key areas. The first is the AC. I was staying with two friends who really like to sleep in a cold room. They were ecstatic with the ferocity of the AC (I slept in the one room that didn't have a separate AC and ultimately had to close the door to hide from the AC). Needless to say - if you want serious AC stay here. The staff also are delightful. They really want you to have a great stay and are super friendly and helpful. Although we didn't eat at the breakfast buffet, I did go upstairs to check it out and it looked really good for this level of hotel. In summary, this place delivers on what it advertises.

The rooms are comfortable but not fancy. The property has a great pool and playground area for family and kids. Lots of areas for picnicking outside. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. This area is rich in fresh fruits and if you are there as the fruit ripens you are in fruit heaven. The peaches and blueberries were phenomenal. Every employee is friendly and accommodating.

The staff here are all friendly and concerned with meeting guests needs. Penticton does not have a huge choice of places to stay so we were very satisfied with the cleanliness and quietness of this Best Western. Breakfast choices were plentiful and fresh.

Our room wasn't ready until after 5pm. We sat in the lobby until it was ready. I get that things happen, but we weren't even offered any compensation. There was litter behind one of the night stands and under the bed, the room wasn't vacuumed, the drinking glasses were dirty. We were told that the delay to get our room was because it was being cleaned.... hmmm.

Old, outdated rooms and poor housekeeping made this year's stay a disappointment. If you don't mind mold in the bathrooms and dirty linens then go for it. My family has been going here for a week each summer for 30 years and we are getting tired of paying high prices for low quality, badly maintained rooms.

I stayed a couple of nights and couldn't wait to leave. Beds were uncomfortable, bathroom was dirty (the same piece of garbage I found when I checked in was there when I checked out). The breakfast was mediocre if you're okay with eating using dirty dishes and utensils. It took till 5:00 to clean our room. Not a good experience for the cost of the room.

We didn't stay at this resort as we found somewhere that was a better fit for us but your front Desk agent Macayley went above and beyond to try and help us find the perfect fit while juggling an almost completely sold out hotel.. She is seriously a great asset to your company and we truly appreciated her customer service.

As frequent guests of the Best Western chain, we learned that each property is independently owned and operated with almost no control by the corporation. As such many things promoted by the corporation are simply not available at many of the properties. We used points to book a non-smoking 2 queen bedroom and asked for the “scent free” option we had heard was available at the BW properties. We also asked for a room without pets due to allergies. When we got to the hotel, we were a bit early so we apologized and asked if the room might be available. The girl that was at the counter indicated the room was ready but did not acknowledge our Reward Program status or offer the standard points or gift option. When asked she indicated that all of their rooms had been occupied by pets but that they used a “special machine” to clean them when the pets left. She also indicated a special gift would be in the room due to our Diamond status and asked if we would like to participate in their “green program”. As this was the first BW property that we had encountered to offer this, we opted for the 500 points instead of daily room service. We asked if we could apply the Travel cards we had been sent as part of the BW Rush Promotion so we could watch a movie and the girl indicated she had no idea how to do that but we could return at another time so someone else could do it for us. She then told us she could not tell us what time that might be. We arrived at our room in a less than happy mood and were surprised to find two full size beds instead of queen sized beds (6 inches narrower and 5 inches shorter). The door to the parking lot did not close properly and had a very large gap and the dead bolt would not work either. We settled in and then went out for a meal and stopped at the front desk upon our return to see if the next worker could apply the Travel cards. She told us that she could not and we could not use them to buy the chips we planned to eat with the movie either as we had already provided a credit card for incidentals. We let her know we were less than happy since the $40 in Travel Cards had an expiration which meant that they were now useless. We were also told that, according to the system, BW booked us a room with two full sized beds, the hotel had upgraded us to a room with a view, and rooms with queen sized beds were not available. This was more than humorous since there was no way to look out the window and all one could see from the balcony was a Maple tree whose branches obscured everything else. We left the property and went out to but some snacks and settled into watch a free movie instead. The next morning we awoke and went down to one of the best breakfasts we have ever had at a BW property. We were immediately greeted at the dining room door and asked for our room number and then pointed to the food. They had fantastic thick cuts of ham and bacon cooked to perfection. They also had scrambled eggs and hash browns and we also had some fresh blueberries. One thing that was especially troubling was the fact that, when we went to use the Jacuzzi, there was no way to turn on the jets. We decided to simply soak in the hot water instead but when we entered the water, both of us experienced a burning sensation so bad that we left within a minute. We returned to our room to shower off whatever was in the water. I acknowledge that I probably should have called down to report the problem however the apathetic nature of our previous encounters left us a bit gun shy. Later that day we did stop in at the front desk again and spoke with Jamie, the front desk manager who apologized for the previous interactions and explained that the PPV movies are not billed through the hotel but rather directly though the TV. She added that the previous information had been incorrect and that the cards should have been “as good as cash” but did nothing to remedy the problem of their imminent expiration date and unavailability to use them now that our stay was over. We loved the fact that we did not encounter anyone smoking on the property. If you are a pet lover you will love the property too but if you have pet allergies you too will be dismayed that they indicate they cannot reserve any of their rooms as pet free. It seems strange that any hotel cannot do anything to help those with allergies but will bend over backwards to allow pets on site instead. Our last comment is that, if not for Jamie, we would have rated the place a 1 or a 2 but her pleasant demeanor combined with the fantastic breakfasts bumped up their rating. If the previous two front desk staff had been better, the rating would be higher too. There were countless things that could have gone better however, we had an enjoyable stay.

This franchise makes a guest stay similar to checking in at a minimum security prison. They want it to be very clear that you are on the hook for everything during your stay and they guarantee nothing, not a ground floor room or a decent night's rest. Okaaaaay. I stay here ONLY to collect my BW points, otherwise, why put up with surly staff and an unwelcome atmosphere? Value for $ is average, location is fine, beds are nothing to write home about and decor is dated. Best thing on the property is a guest laundry, so you get the idea that the bar is not high.

As always it was a first class stay. It is a beautiful setting and a short walk to Skaha lake. The outdoor buffet on Friday night was fabulous. Our host Scott and his family once again spoiled us with their generosity and kindness. We look forward to this trip every year. Thank you. .

We stayed for one night as we were extending our stay for one more night. The staff were very friendly and polite. Check in and check out was quick and easy. The rooms are very clean and the whole site was very well taken care of. Price is a bit high.

Highly recommend, clean rooms, wonderful staff, great breakfast. Pool and courtyard are great for young and old. BBQ pits, movies and playground for kids. We have stayed there for the past five years and will definitely go back.

The rooms were clean, quiet and beds were comfortable. There was a nice courtyard and outdoor pool area. We were able to walk 10 minutes to get to Sakha beach. I'd recommend this place to my friends and family.

WE were welcomed by friendly front desk staff with the offer to assist us any way they could during our stay. The room was clean but needed a little maintenance updating. The pool area looked clean and inviting, although we did not use it. Breakfast was plentiful and nicely varied in food choices.

I stayed there just one night but wish I was staying longer. Lovely motel with central courtyard with grassy areas, pool, tables and chairs and barbecues. Great complimentary breakfast buffet. Friendly staff. Comfortable rooms (pillows were perfect) with nice decor and clean. I will certainly stay there again if in Penticton.

Owner is a very generous man. He rally shows that he appreciates the people that stay at his hotel. the grounds and staff are perfect... We had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. Will be going back next year for the car show and will stay at this hotel again..

Very good accommodations for the family on road. Loved having two bathrooms, two bedrooms, a central living area and a full kitchen. Proximity to the courtyard was really nice. Quiet location. The breakfast room is noisy and the quality of food is adequate.

I am a veteran that is disabled veteran i need a bottom floor room they would not guarenteed this room and they donot have any handcap rooms they did not care if you are or not we had take suite in stead of normal room they where not full like they said where this not how you treat pepole

The property appears to have been substantially renovated over time, and continues to be extremely well maintained. We were in a suite with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, actually a combination of 2 separate rooms turned into a suite. The rooms are not fancy, but they are very clean and very comfortable. The beds are particularly VERY comfortable, each with 4 pillows. The suite was very well air conditioned, which was particularly important to us, as the temperature hit 32 C. (about 90 F). There were NO issues with adjusting it to a comfortable temperature. The WiFi signal was absolutely excellent, with NO signal dropping anywhere on the property (in the room, on the patio, at the pool, in the Breakfast Room). The included breakfast was a bit above average, with the main exception being the scrambled eggs and omelettes, which appear to be the standard motel variety of either pre-packaged or per-prepared variety, although quite edible. The sausages , bacon and ham were excellent. They might have offered a fruit salad instead of just separate apples and bananas, but there were adequate choices of cereals, muffins, bagels and toast. There are two well-maintained swimming pools, one indoor and one outdoor. We only used the outdoor pool due to the high temperature, but as the temperature began to fall, it was nice to have the indoor pool available. Outside our back door was a lovely patio adjacent to the pool. The property is extremely well treed, providing more than adequate shade. There were numerous patio tables and chairs, accommodating very well our visiting 6 friends. We can honestly recommend this motel for those seeking a comfortable and very reasonably appointed accommodations.

Wonderful! We will be back! My wife, 4 children and I spent 3 nights at the best western in Penticton. This hotel was by far the best value and experience for our dollars. We absolutely loved the facilities and the service. My kids were over the moon excited for breakfast each day. Thank you so much!

We have stayed here several times and always enjoy the clean and quiet rooms. Breakfast is included and it's delicious. Only issue was the omelettes were not hot enough to melt the cheese in the middle, but the waffles and everything else was so good. Will return again.

We enjoyed our stay at Best Western the staff was exceptional. And the hotel was well maintained. The kids loved having two pools. While it is located a few minutes from the main beach the value makes it worth a stay.

This place is great, near shopping, restaurants and close to Skaha beach. Older hotel that has been renovated. our room was roomy and clean However it is NOT wheelchair accessible in any way. High curbs, furniture cluttered walkways, outdoor pool surrounded by grass, bathrooms are too tight (have to close door to access tub) and breakfast room is up a set of stairs. It should say on their website NOT WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE. I'd stay here again if I didn't have my son with me (he's the one in the chair)

Liked the fact you have green service. where the rooms do not get cleaned daily. the grounds are well kept. staff very nice. 1 issue breakfast room is on 2nd level with no elevator,therefore not good for those who have mobility issues. Same with rooms on 2nd floor only accessbile by stairs.location is good. close to Skaha Beach.

Spent time touring Okanagan and going on a wine tour of the Oliver and Osoyoos area. Staying in Penticton at Best Western was a central spot to stay that gave us the opportunity to enjoy the city and relax at the beaches as well as enjoy all the restaurants in the area. Beautiful scenery everywhere you look made our stay that much more enjoyable.

I was lucky enough to be upgraded at my recent stay so was given a small suite - small bedroom, small sitting room, bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen on the ground floor. I was able to park directly outside my room so access was no problem. However, what is not obvious from the description of the hotel is that the breakfast room is on the upper of the two floors and appeared to be accessible only via stairs, either inside or outside the building. This was not a problem for me but could be for some guests. The front desk staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Breakfast was the usual buffet with hot choices and was nothing special to write about. Happy to stay there again.

Very nice Hotel, easy access and lots of services, play area for kids etc. Great breakfast! We have stayed at this hotel a couple of times now and the breakfast is amazing. This trip we were cycling and it was great to be able to store the bikes in the room for safety.

Everything was perfect for us on this visit. The King room was very comfortable and spotless and the Housekeeper was thoughtful in providing a door mat when it was raining so we didn't track the weather inside. The Hostess in the breakfast lounge was very efficient and cordial. The room rate was very acceptable when I booked on-line and the front desk staff were very patient and helpful. Than you all !

The Best Western Hotel in Penticton, BC is an older facility, but don't let that stop you from staying here. The room was very clean and well appointed. The breakfast room was bright and cheerful with a very fine breakfast offering. And their courtyard is just amazing, and in summer it has an out door pool. I used their indoor hot tub and found it very relaxing. All of their staff that we met were helpful, friendly and professional. We were very pleased, and it was great value for the money.

This is an old-school motel and, as another recent reviewer gently phrased the matter, is a bit tired. That is, the physical plant is in places a bit rough around the edges. But the room was clean and in working order, front desk people were pleasant and the indoor pool quite satisfactory. In fact "satisfactory" would be a good summary of the stay. Breakfast in the morning, included in the price of the room, was a first-rate full hot breakfast so that was a big plus. The location depends on why are you there. If you are wanting to spent time at Skaha beach or if you are just sleeping the night there then it is fine. But if you want to go downtown (or uptown, depending on how you look at it) say to have dinner and don't want to be drinking and driving or worrying about parking then you are looking at a $15 - $20 cab ride each way.

Very nice mid range place to stay. Breakfast was best in our travels so far, and during the cold winter days, they are offering a nice soup after 5 pm to guests. Front staff are very friendly and helpful also. Very nice indoor pool and hot tub for guests. Place was clean and room warm on our arrival, and king bed very comfortable. Close to beach also, but frozen over right now, so much better in spring and summer. Only concern I had was that stairs going to level 2 were showing wear, and need attention soon. It overall was a very nice place to stay.

This hotel is a little tired overall but is good value for rate paid. Room was very clean although a little worn. Maid service was good. Breakfast was OK but not great. Hotel outside area pleasant to sit and enjoy the sun.

Staff was very friendly. Even got a note from housekeeping after they made up the room after the first night. Awesome! The suite I was in had a kitchenette and separate sitting area from the bedroom. Very spacious and roomy.

I would not select this hotel. The location is great but the property is old. Our room had dog hair all over it. Cost for quality of stay is just not there. This Best Western is sub par in comparison to others in this chain.

The welcome here was warm and friendly. They had a jar of cookies and a Keurig coffee machine and K-cups in the lobby that we enjoyed. The machine was the larger type that allows you to adjust the strength of your coffee (really liked that). We had a king bedded room that included a nice size TV. There was also a good size refrigerator and a microwave. There was no desk but they had a small table with two hard backed chairs. I liked that the room had two luggage racks. I did not like the AC blowing across the bed and as it is difficult to sleep with cold air blowing on your head. Hopefully it will be cool enough when you stay to allow you to open the window and get cool outside air. There is significant light in the room at night. It comes from the very well lit courtyard in the middle of the motel. I know they light the courtyard for safety but it isn't conducive to a good sleep. I deployed some well placed clothes pins to, at least, hold the curtains together in the middle. The light streaming in from the sides and bottom of the curtain could not be remedied. When I checked in we were told that they would have soup in the evening from 1700 - 1900 the next day. We arrived at 1700 to find that the hotel had decided to not have soup that day - we were disappointed. Breakfast was well tended to by a nice lady who was very pleasant and attentive. There were plenty of choices: scrambled eggs and Canadian bacon along with small sausage slices. There was also yogurt and a waffle maker. I didn't enjoy the coffee as it had an odd taste to me. The rooms could use some upgrading but they were very clean. There is a pool and picnic area for summer visitors. Great location close to skaha beach and shopping at the walmart mall area. And of course the waffles for breakfast is always a draw! An added plus is that the staff is super friendly..

I had reserved a room well in advance, then on the day of arrival, we got to Penticton about 2 hours before check in time which was 4 p.m. We were going to an event that started at 4:30, so we took a chance at being able to check in early. Well, the young lady at the reception desk was totally amazing, she immediately checked to see if there was a room ready, she upgraded us and we couldn't believe the room she put us in. We sure didn't turn it down!!! She had that bubbly personality that totally fit the position she holds. The room was so nice and was quiet away from all the noise of the busy street out the front. We really appreciated her thoughtfulness....being seniors! Breakfast was so good....made ourselves a waffle with strawberries, whipped cream and fresh pineapple toppings! also juices, coffee, toast, bagels. scrambled eggs, bacon....it all was available. Well worth going there to stay....oh an indoor pool as well but we didn't use that facility. We were impressed with our stay

The oder of the carpet was bad...also, you should consider form fitting bet sheets...did not sleep well! It would be wonderful if a power bar was installed...that would accommodate i.e. phone, iPad charging. We were in room 104

The staff was amazing, check in and check out was quick and the beds were out of this world. So comfortable!!!! The free continental breakfast was delicious. Something for everybody including eggs, bacon, sausages and waffles. Only downfall we had was were we on a bottom room and the person above us got up constantly during the night and was very heavy footed which woke both of us up all night long which lead to me being a tad cranky in the mornings. Not the hotels fault though. Would definitely stay again if ever in Penticton.

One of the nicest, friendliest Hotels I have stayed in. Will definitely use again. Easy in and out access and the clean well set up room was wonderful. We had a bedroom with a separate living room and kitchenette. The bathroom was well stocked and very clean. Employees were the friendliest and most helpful in every aspect.

Indoor and outdoor pool with great courtyard connected by all rooms... Great for entertainment. Connected balcony accessing all rooms can make for louder experience while trying to sleep. The hotel staff were professional and polite, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was enjoyable. The hotel was in a great location on Main street, close to the areas I wanted to shop at. The only problem was the parking spaces were a bit tight.

The Best place for your money in Penticton. Very clean, breakfast that is the best from any hotel I have stayed at. Great place for a amily getaway or business trip. Have stayed here twice in the past 12 months and will be coming back again.

The staff were all amazing! we were running late as per typical,We were checked in and barely had our small amount of luggage in the room when the cab showed up that the staff called for us at check in! Great welcome. Nice clean room. Heavenly beds. Great food, great service. Good pool, hot tub could be hotter. Only need them to realize that at 10:00 on a Sunday morning I don't need them banging on the walls taking apart a shelf in the housekeeping room next to mine.

The hotel is falling apart. No hot water, and the water leaks in some rooms. There is ice outside everywhere and the salt was used sparingly, someone will get hurt. The drapes do not cover the windows properly.. At best it is a 1-star hotel. The cleaning staff moving the carts down the walkway outside the door sound like a 747 flying by. And it is noisy, you hear everything.

Room was clean just had to wait for the hot water to heat at least 10 min, Breakfast was good long ways to walk to get there . quiet ,comfy beds ,we were tucked in the back corner ...parking was good there was a indoor pool we did not use.

The hotel is well located, the beds are super comfy!! We stayed 2 nights and loved it, the rooms are well kept and clean, the property does look little old from the outside but is very well maintained. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and family.

This hotel is extremely clean and you will not be disappointed in the room, breakfast choices, etc. Beds are so comfy you will not have any trouble having a great night's sleep. No hassle check in or check out.

Front desk agent was MIA for over 30 minutes. Advertised 24 hour front desk service. They didnt answer the intercom, bell, or phone. We ended up going and booking else where. Thanks for leaving us in the cold at 12:00am.

Flight cancelled and had to make last minute arrangements. Hotel front desk was friendly and very helpful with my check in. Room was clean and comfortable, had everything that I required. Breakfast was a nice surprise Well stocked fresh and what a selection. Fresh fruit, cereals bread and pastries, yogurt, breakfast meats, eggs, hash browns and some great waffles. Breakfast attendant was friendly. Check out was easy and every one was helpful. Great staff and Great Hotel

Front desk gal at check in was very chatty, room was clean, odd layout with sliding door in courtyard on first floor. I hadn't expected a motel. You can hear your neighbours beside and above you. Breakfast has good variety, ladies there are on top of keeping items well stocked and clean. This property is likely better in summer with it's proximity to the beach and courtyard with outdoor pool. We didn't use the indoor pool/hot tub.

The staff was very helpful when required without being over bearing.The room was clean and pleasant and the breakfast was excellent. Very good value for the cost.The only disappointment was that the internet connection was unsecured which was a disappointment.

We come to Penticton area every year. Stayed here last summer, was the cleanest place we stayed at. Prices are very decent. easy access location, friendly staff, tasty breakfast. We will definitely come back.

The hotel is older but very well looked after. The room was very clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was superb, full selection of whatever you could possibly want. We'll definitely stay again at this hotel.

The Best Western was excellent. We were upgraded to the Tower Suite, which is a fabulous two-storey suite. The free hot breakfast was the perfect way to start the day. The staff were very professional, helpful, and friendly. Overall, we had a great 3-day visit with family living there.

We were pleased with our experience at this Best Western. We had a clean comfortable room on second floor in the back section and it was absolutely quiet. Even though it is a older property it has been well maintained with comfortable bed and furnishings. If you have trouble with stairs you may want to consider the first floor but we prefer the upper floor so don't have to listen to footsteps above you. The breakfast was served in a bright cheery room with friendly staff person keeping everything fresh and full. Great variety of items including fresh apple sauce and other toppings for the waffles. One of the better hotel breakfasts we have had in our travels. Would definitely come back to this hotel again and can recommend it.

We were very happy with the friendliness of the staff and the outstanding breakfast spread. My only complaint would be that we were put on the 2nd floor and I have trouble doing stairs. I found the bathroom doesn't accommodate anyone with a disability.

The staff at the front desk night and morning were cheerful , friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good and the staff was helpful there, too. I decided not to use the hot tub and pool because they are a long outside walk from our room, on a cold, windy night. That wouldn't be a problem in good weather.

The room was clean, the breakfast was great. Staff were cheerful and helpful. Good location on main road near Skaha Lake. My room was quiet in the back. There is not much traffic on Skaha Lake road at night in November.

We stayed for two nights and found the room to be in an older wing but it was spotless and the bed was great. We had a good selection of lights for our activities, and the well-stocked bathroom met our needs.

A nice hotel, friendly and helpful staff. My room was clean and very nice with a comfortable bed. I was traveling with my dog and the hotel was very pet friendly. The breakfast was wonderful with a great selection of cooked food, breads and buns, as well as yogurt, cereals and fruit. Lots of juice selections too. I would stay here again!

Quite good overall as a good size tv with many channels and a bar fridge and comfortable in room. The breakfast to try again tomorrow am but if same as last few times then one of best of any hotel in the Okanagan. I do not like the hot tub jets though as the jets just splash too much and push upward! I did suggest some time ago now to get regular working jets that work good for one's back and just ignored all this time! If this improves they move up to very good and or excellent! Listening MATTERS most!

Breakfast is remarkable fast service such breakfast I haven't eaten for a long time. Hotels in Canada should take an example from such a breakfast.Thank you.Negative The only thing missing is that there are no salads for breakfast. As for me, the only negative is that all the rooms are outside the street, and not as a large building and must go inside. we must go along the street to the pool which is inside the building.

Had a rough start to my stay as I didn't have a credit card to book in. After a few minutes of arguing about the requirements and talking to my wife to get the information, we made up and now we are probably won't forget each other.

A friendly staff, very good breakfast, quiet rooms, and good rates (except during the peak summer season) make this a favorite place to stay. A bonus is the attention paid to the hotel grounds which are very nicely landscaped with a pool. (There is also an indoor pool.) This is an older, but well maintained, hotel with entrances directly from the parking lot which I find very convenient.

My husband and I actually used airmiles to book our room. It is a bit older but very well looked after and clean. The ladies on reception were friendly and efficient. There was a bowl of fresh apples to help yourself to. The rooms are very large and everything you'd want with coffee maker, large flat screen tv, lots of drawer space and counter tops, and plug ins to charge up the phones. The breakfast was VERY plentiful with tons of variety from yogurt and several types if fruit, waffles, toasts, hash browns, omelet and ham, etc.etc. Lots of friendly staff keeping everything full and clean. There is an indoor and outdoor pool and place to bbq. The grounds are well kept and still some flowers. All in all a great place to stay.

The Best western Staff are wonderful. The stay here is always good. The staff are friendly and helpful. Love staying here when we are in the area. The area is nice and central and its close to the beach as well as town. Always go to Salty's for dinner its the best

We were a party of six, coming to Penticton to meet up with relatives who live there, and to see the autumn colours. All spectacular (the colours, woods , hills and birds, that is, although the relatives were pretty spectacular themselves!).

What a great choice we made. Hotel was extremely clean great location. Only 2 blocks to beach, in door pool and hot tub. Fantastic breakfast. Every staff member went out of there way to make sure your stay was great

What we loved: - The most comfortable beds we have ever slept in! - The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable - It was quiet and relaxing - There was a balcony and fridge - The courtyard was perfect for our family. It included a playground, a big grassy area with tons of trees for kids to play on, bbqs & picnic tables, and an outdoor pool. - The free breakfast had a wide variety of delicious food - The lobby had a lounge area with board games & toys for kids, snacks & coffee throughout the day - It was close to Skaha beach & the airport - The indoor pool and hot tub were clean and quite nice -The staff were very friendly and helpful Room for improvement: Nothing!

Quiet, friendly place to stay. Walking distance to restaurants, pub, shopping. We found the pool and hot tub to be a nice way to end our evenings. Breakfast bar has a variety of hot and cold items. Coffee was great.

What a great stay! Clean ,comfy room. Amazing breakfast! I had an early flight and they didnt leave me with an empty tummy:) they provided me with a breakfast for my early flight ! The housekeeping was very personal too . Love it ! Will always stay here when Im in the area :)

These accommodations are clean and comfortable. The staff is very helpful and friendly and really seem to enjoy what they do. The property is well maintained and has a lot of nice features...pool, courtyard, barbecue, etc. Breakfast is excellent.

We stayed here during a trip to wine country. The hotel was very central to everywhere we wanted to go. The rooms were very clean and had everything we needed; microwave, fridge, large TV, comfortable bed and even a Keurig. The pool was warm and spacious. Our favourite part was the breakfast buffet; fresh food and many choices. We will definately stay here again.

On Friday night there was a great deal of noise, until about 11:00pm. My room was located next to the pool. Someone must have been having a celebration. The breakfast tables fill up at popular times so some of us had to stand while having our breakfast.

We recently did a mountain biking loop that included Ellensburg, WA and the south Okanagan of BC. We stayed in five different BW hotels. The BW Inn in Penticton has both positives and negatives. On the negative side, the hotel seems dated, is on a busy street, and does not have a fitness centre. On the positive side, they will try to give you a positive experience and have by far the best breakfast around. When we first arrived, we were given a room on the ground floor near the lobby and busy road. My husband was immediately unhappy so I went back and asked if we could have a room along the back, furthest from the road. They gave us a much larger space along the back. Although you could still hear the road noise during the day with the windows open, it was quiet at night. And the breakfast was delicious. Bacon properly cooked, not too salty or cooked to leather. Other meat choices included ham one day and sausages the next, both of which my husband enjoyed. I loved the local fresh fruit including grapes, plums and pears. There was also citrus. I especially loved the potato cakes, and there were little cheese omelettes, as well as all the usual cereals and waffles. There were a variety of muffins and quick breads which we loved. We were really happy to have a decent breakfast before starting our Kettle Valley Rail Trail ride directly from the hotel (the trail is very close by bike). We would likely return, given that decent food is so important to us.

My family and I have been staying at this hotel for close to 30 years and until recently have been satisfied. The courtyard area is unique in Penticton and was a blessing when our kids were young. Recent visits however have been disappointing. The rooms are outdated and showing their age and when compared to rooms of equal value locally do not measure up. Most disappointing of all was our latest visit at which time we were assigned room number 99. What a disappointment! There is a large window that overlooks the lobby and if the curtain is left open you would be on display to all those checking into or out of the hotel. Ideal for exhibitionists!! The second result of this window is a very brightly lit room at night. The kitchen in this room is also unacceptable for the rate they charge and not up to Best Western standards. My two companies spent some $20,000 on Best Western accommodation this year so I am very familiar with the chain and this hotel simply does not measure up. My wife and I travel to Penticton several times a year and are now on the hunt for new accommodation.

Our room was just lovely, two queen beds, a little dining nook, very spacious bathroom and room to move about in. They also provided a great breakfast. Almost anything you might want. A large variety of breads and bagels, muffins and sweet breads, fruit and juices, cereals, yogurt, bacon, ham or sausage, waffles or pancakes. A bright cheery breakfast room. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. Quiet location. The staff were very accommodating. The only problem was the steps up to the breakfast room were a little steep for a short older person. I never did look for an elevator though.

Very clean rooms, beds were super comfortable, didn't heR any noise at night andbreakfast was great. Two pools on the premises, looks like it would be lots of fun for children. Staff was friendly. We had to come in late at night due to a bad experience at an Airbnb. The staff was accommodating and the check in was handled quickly. I would stay there again, for sure.

Only stayed the one night but overall very impressed with the hotel and the location, will definitely return and stay longer next time! The hotel was very clean and the room was spacious and comfortable! The buffet breakfast was excellent!

This is an older property but well run and a great breakfast. We went with 2 other couples for a few days to explore the wine areas of Penticton. >Our friends also enjoyed the Best Western and they thanked me for picking this place to stay.

In town for a wine tour. Did not have a reservation but was able to secure a room (kitchen unit which we did not use) Room was clean, the the bed comfortable. Free internet in the room had a strong signal. Great full free breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

All staff encountered were great. Motel looking with two floors, not typical hotel set up. We did not have a lot of free time to enjoy the amenities but they looked great.Sound transfer between rooms is high, especially from the top room to the bottom room. It might be best to request a room on the 2nd floor to decrease the noise heard.Hotel was in a great location for us because it was close to a wedding venue however it is not located in the heart of downtown. That being said, it seemed like everything was within a 10min drive.

The property is large with beautifully maintained lawns and pools and play areas for children. The room was great and clean and a problem with a chair in our room was quickly taken care of by staff. The hot breakfast buffet had many delicious choices.

Overall the Best Western Penticton has a lot going on which makes it an ideal hotel to pick in the penticton area. The hotel has 2 pools, one indoor and one outdoor. It also has a BBQ area and a large grassy court yard for kids to run around and burn off that energy. My room was a one bedroom suite on the ground floor. It had a reasonably well stocked kitchen (though baking sheets for the oven would have been nice). The bed was also nice and comfy. The downside to thw property was its older and noise seems to travel. I could hear the people above me walking around and the kids in the courtyard were at times loud making it hard to hear the living room TV. The included breakfast was large with a good variety. The hotel was sold out due to the Dragon Boat Featival and a few other events in town. Overall the hotel was very good aside from some noisy moments which I dock them one star for.

Generally ok accommodations in Penticton. Compared to 2017, This year they significantly increased their prices during the Penticton dragon boat festival weekend. . When making a small request to use the facility change room showers later the day after checking out before our flights was flatly denied. Very disappointing and this wouldn't have been much effort on their part to please their loyal rewards customers. This granted to us in the past.

fantastic free breakfast/with superb staff/close to everything we gone stay there again .both swimming pools very good because one is inside so there is no problem if the weather is bad.very god check in

We enjoyed our weekend here. The beds were a little hard for our tastes but we normally sleep on a $ 1,200 mattress. We enjoyed the pool and the breakfast a lot and had a nice relaxing weekend. We will definitely stay here the next time we are in Penticton.

We really appreciated the court yard area and night time movie feature. The one thing that could be improved is the door facing the court yard was a bit tricky to close to ensure that it latched shut.

We were in need of a dog-friendly hotel, and because I stay at Best Westerns for work on a regular basis, we decided to stay here. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and it was so convenient to be able to stay here with our pooch.

The motel is good considering the other options in Penticton. The rooms are large and have kitchenettes. The bed was comfortable and there were good toiletries on offer. There are two exterior doors to each room which unfortunately allows more noise come in the room, especially from the central pool and lounging area. The breakfast was ample but nothing special. One day they didn't make up the room even though we'd been away from 10am to 5pm and had put out the make up room sign. I think next time we'll try a different hotel/motel.

We have been experiencing some forest-fire-smoke issues in the Okanagan BC - my room a the Best Western was virtually smoke free, clean and definitely above average for amenities for a hotel in this price range. My room was modern, very quiet and also the hotel also serves a very good breakfast buffet. Service was very friendly and efficient.

All rooms have front doors by parking lot and back doors that open to pools lawns and bbq. Super idea! Homey. Breakfast was upstairs and you could eat inside or outside depending on the weather. Also there was an outdoor and indoor pool.

Lovely hotel. Our Grandaughter loved the pools. Very clean and was nice to have a kitchenette to make something in the room. Nice to have a choice of pools depending on weather. Grounds were kept up well.

We really liked the hotel. The rooms were nice, it had a nice pool. In addition the court yard was nice, and had BBQs that the guests could use. We really liked the breakfast - lots of variety and good quality good to eat.

Keep Driving... This hotel is a DUMP to say the least! I Can't believe Best Western would even put their name on it. Our room had electrical issues and maintenance could not fix it. furniture was dirty, windows full of cob webs, deck was full of leaves and dirt... dark gloomy.. this was not even a room, this appeared to have been an old bar above the pool and they stuck a bed in there... HORRIBLE.. they had to give us our money back because they could not legally let us stay in that room.... maintenance told us that room had ongoing electrical issues and they kept getting brushed off..... Jay (front desk) called him a liar!! Outside steps up to the room felt like we were going to fall right through them.. This place is disgusting, and management clearly does not care.... if you are desperate enough to stay here, I encourage you to insist on seeing your room before paying....

The rooms here were very clean and tidy. They had a tv and the hotel was arranged a bit like a motel. The breakfast was good and the pools looked nice as well. You could also go out your room on to a balcony and see the play area and outside pool which also looked very nice. Overall it was a nice place to stay.

While in Penticton on business we stayed at the Best Western Inn at Penticton for 3 nights. The place looks kinda neat as you pull up. It's definitely not a hotel but more like a motel. The room was clean and renovated. The staff are very kind and were there to help at any time. They offer a free hot breakfast from 6:30am to 10:00am daily. We did not eat there as there were other places we needed to be. There are two pools, 1 outdoors and the other indoors. They both looked well maintained. There was free Wi-Fi which was stable. They had all the standard tv channels as well. The only complaint I would have was there was no place to comfortably sit in our room, just a small table and 2 wooden chairs with padded seats. There was a lot of smoke in the area due to the many wild fires in the area so we had to spend a lot more time in our room than we normally would have. The bed was a little soft for me but I slept well and was refreshed in the morning. I would definitely stay here again but I would upgrade to a suite for more comfort.

My friends and I stopped into the Best Western very late expecting to have difficulty booking a room at such short notice however Ben was very helpful and able to accommodate us. He even went out of his way to assist me in printing out some travel documentation I needed for the next day which would normally be very hard to organise so late at night. Thanks for all your wonderful help Ben!

The hotel was really good. The rooms has access to the swimming pool and garden, there are some bbq inside! Our room was very clean and big! Moreover, we received a note from the housekeeping service! Hotel highly recommended!

Rooms are basic but clean and functional. We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite which had all of the amenities we required. Bed was very comfortable. Friendly staff, great location - walking distance to Skaha Beach. Lots of parking. Breakfast is included - kids loved the waffle maker. Would stay here again.

The staff at this location is beyond exceptional. Very friendly and helpful. Always nice. The place is very clean and services are excellent always. I have been coming since April and not once there was a bad day. So i highly recommend this location... A very special place.

Decided to go away for a couple of days (anniversary) and chose Penticton as we've always only driven through. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel and were impressed that many groups of travelers make it their destination each year to meet up with families. We were earlier than the 3pm check in and the room wasn't quite ready which was no problem. When we returned at 3.30 it was and the front desk staff extremely pleasant. We had a King size bed, regular kind of room but from what I understood many of the rooms had a kitchen attached. We didn't need that. Clean room, found the height of the counter in the bathroom somewhat low and awkward when leaning over but not that big of a deal. Step up to the bathtub/shower also a little odd but we were just very careful. Air conditioning worked well, a tad noisy but worth it for a cool room. Breakfast was wonderful and the staff so pleasant and helpful. There were several barbeques in the outdoor area by the pool which many people took advantage of. I guess having a kitchen then the use of the barbeque made it really good for families. Plenty of play area for children. I was fascinated sitting out at the table outside our sliding door, watching and listening to the children playing. Just having a really good time, none of them whining and I thought what a great place to bring a family for fun. Wish we could have done it with our kids when they were little. Overall an excellent experience and we would return - only it would be in the fall when a bit cooler so we could do more walking.

This property has amazing potential, great breakfast room and offerings, wonderful park like setting with indoor and outdoor pool, bbq's and surrounded play area for the kiddos. Plenty of parking, and conveniently located. Pleasant staff. However, the property could use a bit of renovation. Wallpaper needs attention, plumbing fixtures in the shower could be improved and updated windows. Curtains need attention to fit the windows. Many of these items have been amateurishly addressed. The property could use more attention to command this price.

Our family was extremely comfortable at the Best Western Inn at Penticton, and we can't say enough about the hotel's amenities; buffet breakfast, indoor and outdoor pool, beautiful courtyard with play apparatus, picnic areas and BBQ's. We shopped local markets and deli's, and BBQ'd on site every evening. The hotel is within walking distance to Skaha Lake and shopping, and a short drive to vineyards and orchards. We plan to return to the Best Western Inn at Penticton with other family members next summer.

A great place easy access to the beach and shopping . We arrived in the evening tired and with a dog no problem they even made some changes so we could have a handicap accessible room . The staff were very pleasant and helpful this experience rated very high on my trip.

We were in a room at the back of the place which was nice and quiet. It also cut off the noise from the swimming pool. Breakfast is always great with Best Western. This location has a room and patio upstairs with a wide variety of foods to eat. During our stay they had local cherries and watermelon as part of the breakfast. Repeat visitors to this location as we are satisfied with them

The hotel was very busy, so it was a good thing we booked in advance. The parking lot is small, and further sidewalks to access the rooms would be an advantage. The breakfast served by friendly staff was incomparable!

The wife and I have taken our yearly trip to Penticton for a small family reunion for about fourteen years.The location is great,great places to walk,close to services.The rooms have always been clean and comfortable,great,friendly staff.The breakfasts are always good.We leave well saisfied.

Overall this hotel is clean, but the rooms and furnishings need a major renovation so it is difficult to give this hotel a good rating. The room smelled of urine and dog; as did the first room we looked at. No amount of cleaning could disguise that smell. The air conditioner was old and noisy and went on and off all night. The bathroom sink was plugged and the walkup step to get in and out of the tub was dangerous. The shower curtain did not keep the water from flooding the floor. The breakfast was adequate but the youguert was runny and sweet and came out of a dispenser rather than in small containers. Staff were polite and yes the room had been well cleaned but the overall appear appeance of the rooms with their very old and cheap furniture and the smell of the bathroom was not acceptable.

Great Service, Clean Rooms and plan to be back next year ! BBQ was the extra special feature for our group more so for the new members that have not stayed here before. Parking our cars out front to show off to the parade was classic, the parade folks ended up looking at our cars as they drove by.

I certainly would not stay here again!! The staff are friendly but the hotel is not up to the standards of Bestwestern in my opinion. The rooms are dark and very dated. The beds were so old and uncomfortable we didn't get any sleep. The sheets were to be white I believe however they were so old they were grey in Color and so thin I thought they would rip just covering up, I know that Penticton rents there room out to low income people in off season, so that is why I chose to stay at the Bestwestern. Not this one ever again... Sorry !

I would stay there every time I go that way the people in the front office is very friendly and helpful and I would tell every one I know that is the number one place to stay and the room are very clean it is just the over all the best hotel there

In town for 2 days - for a memorial service. BW was absolutely beautiful! Grounds were amazing - well kept, nice patio tables and chairs all around courtyard, BBQ's for customer's use, playground for kids, outdoor pool - all great. Room was spacious, beds were comfy, full kitchenette - which we did not use but is nice for those who could. The place seemed full or close to it - yet in our rooms, we heard nothing. Breakfast - was a WOW! Not sure I have ever seen such an extensive breakfast offered for free!!! Well maintained and we were asked if we found everything - was there anything else we needed etc. If I get the opportunity to be in Penticton again - I will be staying here!

The courtyard of this motel has numerous large leafy trees offering welcome shade from the hot Okanagan sun. From the friendly reception to the warm indoor pool, and the clean comfy rooms with more amenities than you'd expect (full kitchenette), there's lots to enjoy here. We appreciated the real dishes and cutlery, and dish soap, tea towels etc so we could finally wash our travel mugs after our 6th day on the road! The bed was comfortable, and our unit was very quiet. They had good TV channels, especially the Frame channel, which we use to relax after a long day on the road. The breakfast area was well run, spacious, and offered a unique extras not seen at other BW's: optional cinnamon for the waffles (it was amazing!) and the large wedges of grapefruit and oranges. Next time we're in Penticton this where we'll stay!

I would strongly recommend this hotel if you are in the Penticton, BC area. Everything about this hotel is fantastic. The only issues I personally have with this hotel are the stairs, but that does not stop me from making it my first choice when I visit Penticton.

Was very impressed with the new breakfast area and improved choices and quality of food available. The bed is very comfortable and lots of amenities available for families. The only issue being the stairs are difficult for people with mobility issues.

Absolutely no complaints! Everything was perfect...awesome room, awesome service, awesome breakfast, pool was great! The room was so nice and quiet ... made our stay most comfortable and hope to stay there again soon. Would definitely recommend to all family and friends.

First, we've been staying here for a couple of years when we visit the in-laws because the beds are comfortable, and it's close to the retirement home they're in. Also, love the hot breakfast. This time though, I lost my keys (car/home) and the staff went out of their way to look for them. They were turned in hours after we checked out, and they called me right away, and then held them for 8 days until I could get back to pick them up. VERY good service, and when I picked them up the staff seemed as happy for me that they were found as I was! :-)

Room is very good, service very good, swimming pool very good, breakfast excellent. Just need a little clean at the back balcony lots of tiny spider. But most of everything we enjoyed it. We definitely comeback.

Arrived for 4 day stay with family. Greeting & welcome were warm & sincere. Room immaculate. Grounds & pools were well cared for and all staff were very approachable. We'll stay there again! The breakfast was very good.Everything tasty & easily prepared. and well cared for by the attendant.

We made the reservation for two adults and my 20 month old son, only on check in were we informed the hotel did not do cribs and we should go to Walmart and buy one for $50, the rooms are small and a little tired,the queen bed was the smallest I have ever seen. the pool was good, but the posted depths were very inaccurate the marked 4ft was at least 5.6 ft deep not what i expect from a Best Western

Enjoyed our stay here. It is walking distance to Skaha Lake. Several restaurants and shopping centres are in close proximity. Unfortunately outdoor the pool was not open but we enjoyed the outside seating area. Indoor pool is very humid but the kids seemed to really like playing there.

Good value and immaculately kept hotel near enough to the downtown (about a 5 minute drive). Excellent breakfast and very helpful staff. Hot tub was actually hot! Pool room was wonderful. Overall a nice stop.

Had a wonderful time! Wine country and great place to stay. Two pools and the outdoor space is wonderful. Highley recommend this hotel for a wonderful getwawy. Family and adult freindly. Good breakfast fresh waffles yummm.

I don't have children however they would thoroughly enjoy the large central lawned courtyard with slides, climbing & play structures, and central pool. The lower level rooms have two entrances. The main entrance outer door has adjacent parking for each unit and the other opens onto the extensive landscaped courtyard. About the perimeter of the courtyard is a sidewalk with off-set picnic tables set on discrete clean concrete pads. Large willow trees provide partial shade. There is a central bank of well maintained BBQs. Its simply a very nice space to relax while you let the youngers wear themselves out.

we are seniors and stayed mid week, we felt that the price was to high for off season. The desk clerk was unfriendly, and deceptive. for eg. did not tell us that the pool was closed for repair until after we had paid for our room, which should have been a discount. the gap under our door was app. I/2 an inch and I had to shove a towel in the gap to prevent bugs from entering. the bathtub was old and dirty lines around the drain. the toilet seat had a crack in the front center. the fridge was loud and I had to unplug it . the deadbolt would not close properly, and my wife tripped going down the stairs from the second level as the lighting was poor in the evening.

We had a nice stay, very friendky front desk staff, a great breakfast and an easy checkout. All in all it was a very positive experience. We would recommend it to anyone that would be happy with a reasonably priced, older but well maintained room.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Staff was very accommodating and made me feel so welcome. Awesome breakfast catered to all my dietary needs. Only disappointment was all the spring cleaning and noise around the courtyard. My last day grass was cut walkways painted and it looks marvelous. A very inviting courtyard. Hope to visit wgen the pool is up and running. Being I am a Diamond member I was surprised I wasn't offered an uograde but that's okay my room was great. Short walk to Skaha lake .

They are amazing. They go above and beyond for coustomers. Kids love the pool and the food is great. I would like the Wi-Fi to be a bit faster but it's not horrible. My family will not stay anywhere else in Penticton. Great value

this was a central place for exploring the wineries. it was great having breakfast provided as it made it easy to get on the road in the morning. restaurants were within walking distance. room was exactly what we needed and reasonable for the season.

While visiting Penticton to golf over the last 20 years I have stayed at this location because of it's value & cleanliness. It has a great location & is excellent value for your money. The staff are always friendly & helpful.

This is an older style 2 story hotel where you park next to your room. Our room was large enough for the two of us, with a front door from the parking lot and a back door to the inner court with grass, outdoor pool and sitting areas. The simple bathroom was quite tight with room for one. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quite. There is also an indoor pool with hot tub. The breakfast is one of the best included meals I have ever had. Full range from scrambled eggs to sliced fruit which is open from 6 AM to 10 AM. It's location gives about 15 minutes walking distance to a few amenities including the beach. Very happy with our stay.

I've stayed here twice for dog training things in the area and the hotel staff are always super nice. The rooms are nicely appointed. Husband and I are planning on going up to sight see and plan on staying here again!

Great hotel only about an hour from Apex! Great staff and rooms. Good selection for breakfast that provides you with fuel for a big ski day! :) Then when you get back, you can enjoy the hot tub and pool to unwind.

We were here for my daughters dance festival. We had booked a standard room and upon check in we were upgraded to a suite that had 2 separate bedrooms and a kitchenette. The room was great, had everything we needed. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of choices for everyone. I would love to stay here again!

Stay here often - wonderful staff, great breakfast and always reliably clean, well appointed rooms. A convenient location is a plus - not far from the beach and downtown stores and restaurants are only a few minutes away. This is always my first choice in Penticton.

Great hotel. Clean, good pool, hot tub and good sized room. Even a green space to run with a small playground area. Fantastic breakfast and a friendly relaxed atmosphere. Parking a bit of a commodity and breakfast could have more organic items and less wastage (but that is every hotel!).

We book at th BW Penticton every Easter and are never disappointed. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast is always amazing! We will continue to book them for our annual trip and always reccomend them to our friends.

Older motel style. But well kept and maintained. Pool and hot tub were nice and clean. Breakfast was excellent. The entire staff were excellent as well. Totally recommend this BW. Best place to stay in penticton.

The room we had was a king suite with a jacuzzi tub. The one section of floor felt like I was going to fall through. The hot water for the bathroom sink would not get hot unless you ran it for 5 minutes, and when it did get warm it would all of the sudden get ice cold again. After running water or having a shower the water pipes in the wall would knock for a hour hour after. When you going to bed it is annoying. The jacuzzi tub should have a warning on it because the wife filled it up which took a half hour. Once she got it filled and she turned the jets on the water shot right out of the sink all over our toiletries bags and soaked them. Not mentioning hitting the wife in the face and scaring her. The last complaint is the baseboard heater in the bathroom was so close to the toilet that when the wife turned it on I almost burnt my leg. I have stayed at this hotel before and had a much more pleasant stay than this time. I did talk to the very nice lady at the front desk and she did tell me that there is some work that is going to be done in the very new future.

First time staying at this BW. Will come back again. We had the family suite with 2 bedroom and with teenagers this was very nice! The breakfast was amazing!!!! The staff very very polite. Really enjoyed the location as well.

The staff was very sympathetic to my problem,. and treated me very well. I also had to stay for 2 nights after the first one, and the staff were once again helpful, phoning taxis for me, and giving me a shoulder to cry on. I thank them very much. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who needs accommodation in the Penticton area

I try to stay here every time i travel to the Okanagan. The drive north is spectacular and the proximity to2 lakes makes it an ideal stop for a family, especially in the summer. They have indoor and outdoor pool, bbb pit, access from your room to the yard. Continental breakfast

Jamie at the front desk is the best. I have stayed there before and she is an awesome employee. If I were managing the business I would do everything I in my power to keep her on my staff. She has been so helpful and goes out of her way to help. I have stayed in many hotels and have not seen any employee that compares to her.

Well cared for accommodations, decent breakfast. There was enough variety to satisfy everyone and the meal changed over the two days. TV in room, internet and bed were great. Nice courtyard play area if we would have had little kids.

We got in on a sweet deal with a 2 bed with kitchen suite on the ground floor. It is only a short 7 minute drive to the community centre and the Save On Foods down the road supplied all our needs, including quick healthy dinner choices. If you are a light sleeper, you may want to bring ear plugs as you can hear the people walking around in the room above. The kitchen came fully equipped and we wanted for nothing, except more coffee! Not a fan of the Kuerig. Room was clean and spacious. Good water pressure in the shower, however, the shower head could do with some descaling. And it was nice having the patio door open onto the courtyard. I could see this as being a bonus in the summer for the outdoor pool We took advantage of the indoor pool and hot tub. Breakfast was the highlight of the property and they accommodated early starts for the provincial championship swimmers. Even with the larger teams taking up the waffle maker, everyone was courteous and our small team swimmer did not feel overwhelmed. The breakfast buffet had everything for every appetite. There is a coin laundry onsite but we did not make use of it. The only drawbacks I have to say were the small trash bin for the kitchen garbage, older mattress needs replacing and not having a coffee pot and maker.

This place was perfect for our trip! The price was right, the staff were awesome to deal with and the room was clean. Nothing fancy but had coffee machine, fridge and microwave in room. Loved the pillows....not super big like most hotels! The free breakfast was awesome, such a wonderful selection!

Tried to check into room prepaid for by my company only to be told that unless I have photo ID, after telling them my wallet with my identification was stolen and I'm here from out of province and can't replace it until I return. After showing the front desk woman the police report, my birth certificate and SIN number that Service Canada provided, she still chose to deny me. Best western just lost one large business account.

We stayed two nights to go skiing at Apex. Had a nice, clean room with two comfortable double beds. Was a very quiet room with a stove, microwave and toaster. WiFi was excellent (Shaw-Go-WiFi). TV reception was good as well. Breakfast was included and had just about everything you could possibly want - very, very, good. Pool/hot tub area was in a separate building requiring a walk across the courtyard from your room. We didn't take advantage of it but it looked very nice. Apex was a 45 min. drive over a twisty road so might not be for everyone. However, if you don't mind the drive it is a reasonable alternative to staying on the mountain and handy to city amenities. Would definitely stay here again.

We booked this hotel 6 months in advance as we were attending the Scotties Women's curling championship and wanted a place that was pet friendly. Overall the experience was good but the initial check in was not. Our room was ready and we had advised the hotel via phone we were bringing a dog. The large sign out front says Pet Friendly. We went in to register bringing along our miniature schnauzer on a leash. The first curt comment we heard was "Dogs are not allowed in the lobby", not a pleasant start. We have traveled for 10 years with a pet and stay at various Best Westerns a dozen times a year and have never been greeted like this. How are you supposed to know this rule without first checking in? After this unpleasant start all went well. The room was fine and clean. The other staff were pleasant. The breakfast was good with plenty of variety. The hotel is older and you can hear the people above you walking around but it was not unpleasant.

Units are clean and nice. Good Space in queen bed unit. Like bathroom being away from bed area. Noise does travel from below. (Some guest when out side are noise. Staff did deal with it very wel) Staff are excellent.

The room could stand a good cleaning. Very noisy, The room we were given was a part of adjoining rooms,all movements, conversation could be heard from the next room, Heat setting did not reflect the actual temperature in the room.bed gave me a sore back. We have stayed at Best Western many times over the years so this is a comparison to other BW Inns .

Booked a two room suite for 9 days, through Best Western online . Indicated that I was bringing my dogs. When I arrived I was told the fee for dogs was $20/day/dog. At this rate I would expect consierge service for my dog...maybe frequent baths and pedicures.But alas that was not the case. I was warned that if my dogs were ever alone there would be an additional $75 charge for each and every occasion. I told the check in desk that an adult would be with the dogs 24/7....it had no affect on their rules. I believe this pet surcharge is excessive....I stayed at a Hilton Inn Edmonton and the fee was $50 for the entire length of stay. Needless to say I will never enter their lobby ever again.

This is a motel with all rooms accessible from the outside. The rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was good, but one had to go outside to reach the dining room.

Rally great, friendly staff. Very clean property. Room was small but recently upgraded. Really good value for the money. Breakfast was good and the breakfast room was spotless with fresh food. Would stay here again.

I needed a place to rest for a couple nights but also at a great rate. I am really glad to have chosen the best western. Very friendly lobby staff.The hotel at this time of year was not too busy so very restful and the free full breakfast in the morning made each day start out just right with a big screen TV to catch up on the news from 7am-10am. We had a king sized bed nice clean linen sheets and lotsa pillows and a big screen TV. The fridge in the cupboard underneath nice and cold. I liked that the best-western is eco-friendly and check-in and check-out was very easy as you can do it online before you get there to make it faster. Free wifi very fast and many channels and movies to choose from. Walmart close by 2 min drive and close to Skaha lake. Definitely will suggest as a place to stay for a hotel in Penticton.

This hotel has rooms which have been updated, and everything in and outside seems to be keep up. The free breakfast was convenient and the hotel is just minutes from shopping and restaurants and just a few minutes more to down town.

We stopped in Penticton because of snow. The woman at the desk was very pleasant and helpful—same with the one in the morning. The breakfast was very good. There were no near restaurants to walk to for dinner—we had had enough of driving.

Waffle makers are excellent! Meat with breakfast changed during our stay so we were not bored. Attentive kitchen staff kept things stocked and clean. There is a pool / hot tub in a separate building. Was too cold (end of December) to walk outside to / from room and pool building. However, it looked nice...

This hotel has been around for awhile but the rooms have been updated and it has great amenities. The staff are great, very helpful. The location is a bit out of the way, if you have a car with you that is not a problem though and the bus does stop right outside. Breakfast was hot and plentiful. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance.

Need new pillows but other then that another good stay except for our disrespectfully neighbors (room 202)..If you happen to read this...you knew full well when we made eye contact that we could hear your vocal sex romp yet after your cigarette proceeded to go back in and make sure you were within ear shot for round 2..lol...probably left the curtains open on purpose too..Trashy behaviour to say the least and thankfully our grandchildren had left.Please people have some class and self respect when staying in hotels..

We found the rooms to be very clean, surprisingly large. Even though its a cool walk in the winter as the facility is separate from the rooms, the Pool was nice and hot tub clean & HOT ! Very nice Breakfast set up, lots of items to chose from.

I never write reviews. However we have been at the BW Penticton for two nights, and have one more night left over the holiday break between Christmas and New Years. I can not say enough about the amazing staff at this location. The front desk team (Paige on nights, and I believe its Angela that's on days) have truly gone above and beyond to help ensure that our stay with our two children ages two and four has been far beyond our expectations. We were kindly given the Tower Suite, a two story two bathroom, full ktichenette suite which could not have been more ideal for us. The layout allows us to put the youngest down for a nap during the day while not having to be quiet. And at night both kids can go to bed while we enjoy adult time - almost unheard of in a tyical hotel style room. The onsite full breeakfast has also been fabulous. Cooked breakfast options and a full continental accompaniment means we start the day with full and happy bellies. The only downside is having to get fully dressed in winter gear to get to the pool. But when thats all you have on the agenda for the day - then its really not such a hardship! From the games and dvds for the kids, to the colouring printouts being delivered to our door, I truly can not say enogh good things about our stay. The beds are comfortable, and rooms clean, and the staff exceptional. We will definitly be back - the staff are amazing and deserve recognition!

Great hotel for a over night stay. Good location. Great service. Hotel was quiet. Price was reasonable. Rented the two bed room unit. Worked well for the four of us. Our journey took us to Summerland the next day. It was a short drive to our destination. We would stay again. Bill

Great place to stay, clean rooms, comfortable beds, indoor and outdoor pools. a very good breakfast buffet with quality food choices, located close to the lake. Staff was very friendly and no hassle check in or out.

A bit tucked away, this hotel is definitely great value for the location. The full breakfast also adds exceptional value, as most hotels in this city do not offer breakfast. Comy beds, clean rooms if a bit dated, and friendly staff make this a great choice.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, made you feel welcome. Our room was very clean and comfortable. They have done some upgrading to the rooms and it felt very modern. The Complimentary Breakfast was amazing and very well presented and the staff were very diligent in keeping the area clean and well stocked.

Front desk help was super friendly and personable and helpful. My flight was delayed to the extreme and ended up Needing to check in a day late- they were very understanding and credited me the majority of my room charges for the next day's stay.

Courteous & friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed, and excellent breakfast selection. My wife and I would stay again. The only thing we would change is the room that we stayed in because in #226 when it's a bit windy from the south it does whistle quite a bit as it comes through the outside corridor/entry area.

An older BW and some upgrades would be nice. It was clean and the bed was compfy and everything was clean. I found the bathroom in need of some upgrades. The jacuzzi tub didn't work all that well. The breakfast was the normal one you get at a BW. It was just fine. The staff were friendly. In all, it was a good stay.

This hotel was one of the better properties that I had stayed at during my travels to Penticton. Clean, good value, good breakfast and nice staff. Also, it is pet friendly. Most Best Westerns are not pet friendly.

Another nice stay here. Comfortable room and with a nice breakfast offered. The hot tub and pool area I like as well. Our check in was spot on excellent and was able to check in an hr earlier than normal. Thanks.

This modest, clean and friendly lodging was a nice stop along the way. Nobody does breakfast better! Sadly, the queen bed was too soft, and the room rather tiny. Our request for an upgrade would only be accommodated if we were willing to pay more.

We stayed for 3 nights last week. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Our room was on the main floor. Hotel is quite older and out dated. But our room was clean. Bed was soo comfy.. we weren't expecting that! It was close to an awesome pub and in a great central area. WIFI worked well. Continental breakfast each morning was awesome! We loved the waffle station. We would stay here again.

It is clean and the staff are friendly. The price is a bit high and space is smaller than what I expected. overal experience was good except for that two points.I would recommend this place if the price would adjust to the size and quality of the rooms.

This hotel is definitiv my hotel in the region. Quiet, comfortsable, clean, easy going, friendly, super for families too. Very nice playground free of any traffic and very good situated for lakes and the Naramata. AND very affordable!

Being here for a conference, the internet connection and ability to work was next to impossible. Again, charging my card for an extra $100 in addition to the total amount for the stay already been charged for was frankly inefficient on the part of the hotel.

This BEST WESTERN has the perfect location when visiting the OKANAGAN valley. It is a short drive to osoyoos to the south and a nice drive to kelowna to the north. The rooms are nice and clean and spacious, and some even have a kitchette, likes ours, which is nice to be able to cook ones fresh veggies and fruit, one just bought at one of the many fruit and vegetable stands. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. The ladies at the breakfast area always kept the breakfast items well stocked, even have local variety of fruit every day. The only negative is that the breakfast area is upstairs, with no elevator. The grounds are very well maintained. The outdoor pool, BBQ area, picnic tables, play structure in great shape. Even have an in door pool and hot tub. When ever we will go back to the OKANAGAN VALLEY we will definitely go here again. GREAT JOB BW

We stayed the night, while we really only needed a bed, my wife and I were given a nice suite. A great hot breakfast and cheerful staff to see us on our way. While our stay was short , the pleasant feeling lasted on our trip.

The experience was wonderful, the rooms were lovely and clean. The staff were great and the breakfast was beyond our expectations, so thank you very much...from a very satisfied customer,,,we will be back for sure.

This was probably the best stay during our recent road trip. The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable, and because of an upgrade, it was a King bed room with a kitchenette. From the time we arrived until we left, the staff was very efficient and attentive - and they even followed up with us via e-mail after we had left. The grounds were well maintained and pleasant. The amenities - including WIFI, as well as the indoor pool - were very good, and the complimentary breakfast was superb (probably the best hot, complimentary breakfast we have experienced). There was a wide variety of selections for breakfast, including omelets, ham, etc., that were well presented and kept fresh and renewed by an attendant.

My wife and my mother went out to the Okanagan to visit family. It was very easy to find, lots of parking. The grounds were already packed away for fall, but looked like it would have been very nice during the summer months.. it had an indoor pool, outdoor pool, and beautiful grounds to relax. The hotel itself was an older building, the decor was old, and could use some modern upgrades... the beds were alright, rooms were not overly large. Everything was average nothing special at all. The breakfast was very good, lots to choose from. The customer service was amazing.

Stayed for 6 nights during which the staff were very friendly and helpful. The facilities Clean and comfortable facilities. Although dinner not available it is not too much of a problem as there are plenty of places within Penticton

Hubby and I love staying here because the rooms are comfortable, clean and the hot breakfast can't be beat! The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the location is perfect for our needs. We keep coming back.

We recently stayed at this Bestwestern in Penticton during the Thanksgiving weekend and must say the motel was very busy.Reception was very prompt and professional and we felt welcomed. The room was exactly as advertised and very comfortable during our four day stay and was clean and in good condition. The breakfast selections were more than I anticipated and included mini-omelettes and sausages as well as a waffle maker, cereal,toast,bagels and a good selection of morning pastries.The fresh coffee was terrific and the offering of fresh Okanogan fruit was impressive. The breakfast area was very busy with all sorts of travellers,but the seating seemed adequate and the room was flawlessly clean due to the fine efforts of the staff! Good to see Bestwestern's new and better attitude toward providing the traveller a good hot breakfast in the morning rather than the stale and minimum offerings of the past! I have used this chain for many years and will spend 31 days in Palm Desert in November because of the extraordinary breakfasts they offer and the terrific rates they offer for this period of time! The staff are all so friendly and welcoming that we have returned five years of the last six! Look to this facility as a model for the rest and you will never suffer for customers!

The room was clean and quiet. It is an Inn so all the rooms are outside. The night clerk Paige was very friendly. The "Hot" Breakfast was not hot, there was no microwave to warm things up. The self serve waffles were the only thing hot, the toppings were not labeled
