Golf trip getaway for 16 guys. Many other groups were there during our stay. Many were return groups. I can see why. The rooms were spacious and ours(3 of us) had a full kitchen. It was in good condition throughout. Breakfast everyday was broad based and fresh. Staff were helpful and friendly throughout the hotel and the young man that seemed to run the breakfast area was excellent. Trip couldn't have gone better.
Check in was easy and fast. Breakfast was good. Lots of choices for side options. My internet kept going to my data plan because the hotel signal was very low. We were in a pet room by the pool. I told the day manager and his answer was “no one else complained “. He came down and saw the low signal.
The bed was horrible with a big hump in the middle. There were spider webs on the ceiling and peeling paper in the bathrooms. The windows and screens were filthy. The breakfast was not great and served with paper plates and cups with wooden cutlery. That would be fine if the hotel was recycling the material but they don't. The waste is all put in a garbage can with no recycling at all. The pet rooms are not identified and I have bad allergies to cats and dogs. We unknowingly were given a pet room which caused a very bad allergic reaction. Additionally, the hot tub was cloudy and not checked as it should bex
Great location and very walkable. Front desk staff was very kind and cordial, which was refreshing. Rooms facing the parking lot had lovely views of the hills which was nice to view from the front porch/patio. Hotel had a decent sized pet relief area that was grassy and clean. Breakfast was meh, usual dry and stale offers, and some of the rooms had a slight smoke smell (likely leftover from years ago). Hotel was extremely overpriced for a Best Western Plus, but we were tired so had no choice as it was the only gig in town. Over priced as in $355/night.
For the price, would expect the hotel to be cleaner and newer. The room we stayed in needs a deep cleaning, crumbs in the corners and sheets had hair in them. The hotel Staff were very friendly. Located right beside an amusement park that is open till 11 pm and the hotel pool opens at 7 am.
Sink is cracked, left over food in fridge and garbage not clean after previous client checked out. All pillows are piles randomly on one bed. $400 per night don't think it's worth it...
Good location, good free breakfast, clean & tidy, great staff interaction. Perfect for our foursome golf trip. I Bedroom kitchenette suite with everything we required.
The hotel suite was nice but the only toilet was sluggish and so slow it seemed like it was clogged. It took extra flushing. We got someone to check it and we were told this is normal and all toilets function the same. They need to upgrade toilets.
Friendly helpful staff, well maintained building, super breakfast and well situated for a stay in the Osoyoos area.
We had our mothers day reunion here..our second here..a 4 night stay..had a beautiful second floor balcony suite great view of surrounding mountains..staff and service attendants were very pleasant and accommodating..breakfast was an enjoyable and relaxing experience with lots of options..amazing and enjoyable stay it could not have gone better...you are the best
Good central location, big size rooms, very good hot breakfast with many choices, ample parking. Check in and check out was smooth.
Excellent and kind staff, extremely clean and absolutely spacious rooms. Although there is no lake view, this hotel is consistently been the best in Osoyoos for the past 15 years that we've stayed. Only recommendation: rooms feel like it's time for an update.
We always like to stop in Osoyoos on our way up to ski in British Columbia. The hotel staff are very courteous and accommodating. The included hot breakfast is very satisfying, with plenty of fresh fruit as well.
I've stayed at many BW's before and have always had better than average experiences in the past. It was a bit unnerving when a hotel staff called our room at 7:45pm stating there was a noise complaint and this was an obvious mistake as it was just myself and my girlfriend who was in the shower and I was watching TV. He just didn't seem to believe me and mentioned something about someone running?? Well, there was no one else with us and obviously got the wrong room! But needless to say, it was 7:45pm!!! Let's not forget that it was 7:45 in the evening that someone complained about noise, not after like 10pm onwards! Clearly, this was unnecessary and although they needed to address the issue, they might have done some research into the fact it was just two adults in the room with no children and simply asking instead of accusing us would have sufficed! The shower head was spewing water in many directions and clearly hadn't been cleaned or replaced. The sink had a crack and the hotel door wouldn't even close properly until you would literally have to jam it shut. NOT the type of quality I would expect from this chain! Breakfast on the other hand was great and I definitely enjoyed some of the best coffee here ever! Pool area and jacuzzi was clean and we did enjoy that for part of the evening.
Decided to stay overnight because to road conditions. Room was fine staff are friendly. The pool and hottub is why we went with best western. Hottub was bright yellow and we were unable to bring ourselves to use it the color differences becatween pool and hottub was shoking
Staying at this hotel was a great experience for the entire family! Spacious rooms with a great layout, friendly and accommodating staff and delicious breakfast included! Convenient and easy to bring the doggo along with plenty of grassy areas for him to stretch his legs! We were very pleased with our time here. Thank you!
The breakfast buffet daily special is great and there are many additional options. Bacon day is a good day! The indoor heated pool is warm and clean and the hot tub is large… and hot. Nice attention to details here. A very enjoyable stay with hope to return. Yes, it's a little far to walk to downtown shops unless you're a power walker like me. Very dog friendly as well.
Why are pet rooms the worst? Not the first hotel during our stay and definitely not the nicest. The bed was comfy and the towels were fluffy. Thats it. The noise transfer from other rooms was loud. I have never seen a toilet roll holder so rusted and disgusting, it truly looked like it was pulled from the garbage. Found hair from another occupants nether region in the shower and just didnt want to sit in the tub after a long day. The full bucket of cigarettes at the back door stunk, which is close to where our room was. When I asked for a different room further away (because of an allergy) front desk told me it wouldnt bother me because no one smokes there. Not sure how the butts got in the bucket then. We were given the last pet room and this is what we got.
The hotel was average. Room was clean and comfortable. Comes with complementary breakfast. Unfortunately, the breakfast left a LOT to be desired! They have a daily theme and no other choice. The morning we ate there was burrito morning. Cold scrambled eggs with peppers, cold bacon, grated cheese, tortillas, bananas, one pastry choice, weak coffee and watered down juice. Wouldn't bother with it again!
clean and quiet. comfy beds. hot water, good wifi. staff helpful with the smoke and explaining the fires. easy access off main road. breakfast is unremarkable but at this price point we don't expect miracles. coffee machine always broken and staff could not fix.
Price was expensive for August, but we enjoyed staying at the hotel for being very clean, cool, calm, close to the beach, shoping and kids park. Breakfast is wonderful, with many options for all the family. Check-out being at 11Am is good. Internet Wifi has few issues.
10/10 would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Osoyoos. Great location right next to Rattlesnake Canyon Amusement park with entertainment for kids and adults. Short walk to wineries, multiple beaches, and restaurants. The hotel breakfast has everything you'd want and more there is no need to go somewhere else to eat in the morning. The manager Millie is very welcoming and excited to greet each guest. You cannot walk past a single staff member without being greeted with a hello and a big smile on their face. We will be back everytime we visit Osoyoos.
This hotel in Osoyoos is one of the two hotels in Osoyoos we stay at when we visit. The other one is the Coast Beach Hotel. The staff at this hotel are very gracious and go out of their way to make your stay and experience as positive as possible. For example, we needed help with our luggage. A gentleman named Gur came out from behind the desk to our car and assisted us. My wife had a craving for a latte at 10pm. They opened the breakfast room for us made each us one! The rooms are modern too. The hotel is well kept and recently renovated. The breakfast was a hot breakfast - with eggs and hash browns and cereal and juices, teas, and coffees, including Nespresso! All complimentary! We don't usually use the pool but there is a pool and hot tub too.
Way too overpriced! Anything extra had fees connected to it. Room was not great. Bathroom had ripped shower curtain & ripped wallpaper. Hair was on the wall. Room was not totally clean. BW breakfast was less than adequate.
Comfortable quiet hotel, central to restaurants and family fun. Full hot breakfast, internet and good parking. Clean with the usual Best Western amenities. We did think this was a bit pricey after travelling from Manitoba to BC, in general hotels in BC are expensive compared to the prairie provinces. And this is in Osoyoos which makes it a bit more expensive especially in the summer.
Right next door to theme park, good room with all the amenities promised. Aged wallpaper and other decorating aspects but clean as a whistle. Convenient parking for loading & unloading. Nice hot tub & pool.
Overall positive experience. Check-in was quick. The room was clean and presentable. Pool and hot tub were good. Complimentary breakfast provided a wide selection of food and beverages - and the seating area was large and bright. The summer rush hasn't begun yet, so our room and the hotel were nice and quiet. Staff we dealt with were polite and professional.
We had a one night stay at the Best Western, very clean, the breakfast was good and staff were friendly and attentive. It was a good location and would be great if you had children with the amusement park next door. And it wasn't noisy,
The hotel is clean and well run with a friendly staff who are accommodating. The breakfast is complete and nicely presented. The property is conveniently located in town. The whole experience was excellent.
Stay here as I am sure you will be pleased all around. I would say it is an excellent example of what a hotel can and should be. Compliments to everyone working there. A fine example of teamwork and pride.
Very friendly, efficient and accommodating staff. King Room was nice along with jetted tub. Breakfast was good, warm, plentiful, fresh. I have stayed numerous times over the years and always happy with my stay.
we stayed on the second floor and when we walked into our room it was unexpected to get a kitchen which beautiful with dishes and pots n pans etc etc. balcony was amazing to see a bit of mountain size good and i didnt expect to have 2 queen beds in its own room with tv. Closet is huge . disappointed that the bible has been removed :( Bathtub has a few hairs left from the housekeepers Updated Kitchenette , close to town and restaurants - about a 5 mins No room service for food ( no restaurant attached to hotel for room service) water bottles $2 Pool has no waterslide hot tub was dirty , murky stinky ( did not go in it until someone cleaned it next day) not very hot kids playing hockey in hallway infront of our door loud no respect for other people hotel did not inform us of hockey tournament
Everything was perfect. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The excellent breakfast was a great start to the road trip ahead of us. Osoyoos is beautiful and we were so happy we choose the Best Western for our stay.
My wife and I stopped here for a night while travelling to Victoria, BC. Check in was quick and the front desk staff were awesome. The hotel and the grounds surrounding it were tidy, extremely clean and well taken care of. Our room was a continuation of the later. We picked this hotel because of it being dog friendly. The only suggestion would be is to not place dog friendly rooms next to the ice machine, lol. Roger, our dog, was not a fan and thought someone was trying to get in. We will certainly be back and hopefully for a longer stay.
Clean, comfortable, better (hot and cold) breakfast than I expected. Reasonably priced wine in room. Relatively expensive when compared to an excellent Motel I used on the return trip. This is a perfectly acceptable choice for a night or two in Osoyoos if you can get a good price.
Frequently stay at this hotel while travelling between Creston and Chilliwack. Breakfast is great-a good variety of food. The room is always clean. We have a dog and they welcome pets. We will continue to use this for our one night stopover.
A great dog friendly place to stay. The room was large and clean, and the grassy dog relief area was an added bonus. The breakfast buffet was well stocked with hot and cold items; everything from bacon/eggs to fruit, muffins, bagels and a variety of cereals. And the coffee was good! We would definitely stay here again.
We've stayed in this hotel annually for the last five years. The service and staff have always been attentive and gracious. A true family friendly hotel. They are also very welcoming and accommodating to our 6 year old Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever.
Not NEARLY worth the $269 price tag. Room cleanliness was just ok, but was 'old' and 'tired'. In hindsight, and further investigation, much better accommodation in Osoyoos was available for the same money. Booked Best Western Plus because of our long-standing satisfaction with the chain, but will be much more discriminatory in the future. BWH might want to consider adding a 'Best Western Minus' category for this one.
Great hotel, extremely clean and quiet rooms, great amenities, courteous and helpful staff. Hotel is close to attractions, shopping and the beaches in the vicinity. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through or staying on vacation.
The room was good, location ok, breakfast was good, but at $328 for a simple 2 queen beds room, the price was too high for a small town. If the overall price was around $250-280, I feel the value would've been better.
This hotel overall gives the impression of grubbiness. I was unhappy to be given a ground floor room (although it does make life easier when there is only one tiny little elevator) facing the parking lot. I also think for over $300 a night it should not be asking too much to have sheets that look smooth and vaguely pressed. Did I survive the expensive night there ? Yes. Would I ever go back? Absolutely not.
Sweat stained pillows. Filthy dirt/grim build up from not cleaning. Dirty mouldy windows. Dirty chair - too dirty to sit on. Dirty blanket between the top sheet and bedcover. This soured our entire Osoyoos experience and we will not return.
Cons. We had to clean the dishes ourselves upon arrival and ask for replacement of broken glasses that had been left in the cupboard. Pros. Situated right next door to Rattle Snake Canyon Over all, I would have expected more for the price
Easy . Comfortable. Reliable. Great Air conditioning. Nice location. Tasty breakfast . Mini golf next door for fun in the evening. Quiet rooms . Staff were friendly and helpful. Easy access to all the amenities of Osoyoos
Everything was acceptable except for the kitchen utensils that they were not clean enough. We had to wash them before use. Also, on check out, the front desk had assumed we had pet whereas we had not. I was lucky I checked the details on my receipt and noticed their mistake and got a refund.
Overall the hotel was ok for the stay. It's a little footwalk to the lake. The hotel is a little bit old, especially the rooms. Room was spacious, but old-fashioned, could get a new renovation. Didn't use the Jacuzzi due to the warm weather. Welcome and reception was all fine. Hallway also old-fashioned. The air-con is good and strong, actually didn't need to turn it on, room was not too warm. Bathroom very old style, the water pressure in the bathtub/shower can not be adjusted, so kind of wasting too much water and also the drain was not good, water was staying in the tub while showering. But all ok and acceptable issues. Breakfast was not what we expected, it was ok, but the coffee was not good. Only selection of spreads for the bread or bagels, were expecting more, but maybe that's normal for this price category. Some improvements could be made, was ok for this 1 night stay.
Great property. Welcoming staff. Room had all we needed. Very happy for the fridge and quiet room. Good plentiful breakfast. I was late from a bike ride and was grateful it was still open. Would definitely stay here again.
We would definitely stay here again. Clean, welcoming staff, the breakfast was amazing, lots of options to choose from. Our room was ready when we arrived, we asked for an early check in and check in took less than a minute. Highly recommend
Stayed in a 1 bedroom suite while we visited the wineries. Was nice to be able to do a bit of cooking. Nice area for a morning walk. Downside is that if you want to eat out, the restaurant is closed. Have go into downtown Osoyoo
A fun weekend of wine tasting in Oliver's Golden Mile. The staff at the Best Western Osoyoos were welcoming and very helpful. Rooms are comfortable and well equipped - we like the queen suite. Great breakfast included with good variety and tasty food.
Friendly, helpful staff . Room was very clean and well organized. Quality linens and towels. Comfortable bed. Kitchenette was very handy to have, and well stocked with utensils etc. Fresh hot breakfast served daily. Waffles were great, everything fresh and well stocked. Pool and fitness facilities were a great bonus.
Nice, clean, spacious room with all the usual and expected amenities. All staff we encountered from reception to the maids were a pleasure to deal with. It appeared that the onsite restaurant was a casualty of the pandemic and hopefully it will eventually reopen since there are limited dining options in the immediate vicinity. Should we ever return, this is where we would stay!
We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Osoyoos. The room was spacious with plenty of room for 4 adults and a 15 year old. The pool was great and breakfast fine if not exceptional - one frustration is they had no plant based milk. Something that a lot of hotels realty need to get to grips with. Staff were pleasant and helpful when their assistance was required. One thing to note the kitchen area was huge and was great for preparing some food on the evening of our arrival. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel.
We stayed for two nights in a dog-friendly two bedroom suite over the weekend and are so pleased we chose to stay at the BWPlus. Check in and accommodation for our small dog was so easy. Every staff member we came in contact with was pleasant, smiling and helpful, even accommodating us with a late checkout when we had to deal with getting a tire repaired before driving home. The room was a wonder, full size kitchen (only missing a can opener), comfortable dining table and lounge area. I like the layout with the bathroom separate from the bedroom. There was plenty of storage to tuck our bags away and not feel like we were in a hotel room. We can't wait to return in the fall, thank you so much!
We stayed for the Half Corked Marathon, and reserved the queen suite that had a kitchen and living room area. The room was clean and well stocked. Check in was easy. My only complaint is that we had asked for daily cleaning which we did not get, when I asked, they said I had to request at check in (I did). Otherwise, the included breakfast was really good. We used the hot tub, it was murky looking so they may need to be managing that more closely while it's busy on the weekends. If Best Western was smart, they'd get on the Half Corked radar, offering deals to stay or something.
My spouse and I made our 3rd trip to Osoyoos and have always stayed at this hotel. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good, lots of options both hot & cold. Our only disappointment was the restaurant & Subway being closed, not something that could be controlled.
We had a wonderful time. We arrived early and were allowed to checkin, and we were even upgraded to a suite which was wonderful. Great customer service, quiet hotel and a good hot breakfast. Price was on point.
I normally stay at another brand but my experience at this location was top notch! Very welcoming and friendly check in and helpful. The room was huge and well appointed. My dog was warmly welcomed at a very affordable rate compared to Hilton. The coffee is strong enough to drink and a wide variety of breakfast offerings. It was quiet and comfortable. Wine in the room should you choose to partake!
Nice property and location. If you don't have a pet beware your room location! We were disrupted throughout the night by barking from a room 3 doors away. Management didn't answer my reporting call at 2:30 am. Bill was adjusted at checkout for our inconvenience.
Very nice hotel, new with all the amenities and dog friendly as well. This hotel is not on the lake but is just a short drive away. We had a full kitchenette, king bed and couch style room. There was an indoor pool/hot tub area, clean washer and dryer, wifi, full breakfast, free parking. It met all our needs and I would definitely stay here again!
We received an upgrade to a one bedroom suite and were very impressed. Great location and a wonderful breakfast. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with options on things to do in Osyoos. We would stay here again.
Accommodations were awesome! Kitchen and living room area added extra space which allowed us to relax and truly enjoy ourselves. The kids loved the pool and the dogs loved the balcony! Staff are super helpful and friendly!
Very spacious suite that was nicely appointed. Always nice to have breakfast included. Very good value for the money spent. A nice walk into town along the lakeside and enough food choices close by. Would definitely stay again.
Great hotel with a great breakfast that comes with the room. I was upgraded to a suite which was a nice bonus. Hotel is in a great location. Staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel.
Stayed for 4 months and the Manager and staff are excellent!! Always ready to help with any little thing. All the staff always greeted us when they seen us, made us feel welcome. Breakfast room was very inviting.
This was our last stop before home after a week of traveling to Alberta. We travelled with two of our grandson's. The boys had a good time in the pool, great breakfast area and selection of foods. Would stay again.
It was a decent hotel and good value for what you got. Electric car plug in was available. Free breakfast was good. Good location. Staff was friendly and helpful. No concerns with security inside or outside.
Perfect stop for myself and my 3 kids..loved the pool it kept the kids occupied while I enjoyed the hot tub..breakfast was amazing with many varieties of hot and cold food..definitely stop here again on our regular trips to Vancouver Island
Our stay in BW Osoyoos was excellent. The room and hotel overall was very clean, service was great, all amenities were great, everything in the room worked well. Breakfast was excellent (lots of variety, very fresh and the area was very clean. Good convenient location.
I have stayed here on several occasions and it is always clean with a great breakfast. It is pet friendly at an affordable cost and is conveniently located in Osoyoos. The staff are friendly and efficient.
The booking, manager and front desk staff were very welcoming and super helpful for booking a group. The pool was awesome for the kids to play in and the breakfast room was well equipped and clean with plenty of space for everyone.
A modern, well-maintained, and fully-appointed Best Western. The staff are friendly and relaxed but at the same time professional. A nice balance. Great full breakfast (not Continental), rooms are always clean and everything works, and as I leave I always feel I had a great stay. That feeling is my confirmation that I will be coming back...
My stay was during an exhausting and stressful January drive through the mountains trying to get back home after waiting months for a safe window to drive. The hotel felt very secure (single female travelling solo), it was very quiet (no slamming doors or hallway noise), super clean, very comfy bed, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was impressive!
Everyone we met was kind and hardworking. Breakfast was good with many options. The pool and hot tub was a fun place to hang out. The treat area had some good options only missing some white milk. The hotel room was nice but in need of some minor repairs. We will definitely be back and recommend to friends and family.
This is our go to place when visiting in Osoyoos. The rooms are comfortable, the breakfast options are great, and you feel safe staying here. The staff go out of your way to meet your needs. I like the location too.
friendly staff, fantastic breakfast, good place to walk along path very pretty Swimming pool and hot tub were larger then expected Very clean, We would definitely go again and stay at this Best Western
Loved this hotel and plan to stay again this month on our way through from the West coast. Very friendly staff and a great location. Good breakfast and great rooms. We were able to walk to a restaurant for dinner which we felt was great.
We spent a night here during a road trip around the BC and AB area. The room we booked had a kitchen with oven, fridge, dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker. It also had a separate bedroom and separate living room. It felt like we could properly relax as it had everything we needed including plenty of space! Breakfast was usual BW (eggs, sausage, toast etc and was good. The only thing that made this a four instead of a five was that the carpet and sofa were a bit worn and overall the room could probably do with a bit of updating. Other than that, everything else was fine and everything was also clean. Staff were also really friendly and made us feel welcome.
Our stay was exceptional. Friendly, professional and helpful staff. The common areas were spotless and our hotel room was impeccably clean. The hotel room was very quiet so we also enjoyed uninterrupted sleep.
Good hotel with full hot breakfast included, only thing it's buffet style. With COVID I believe this is not right at this time. Room was good and bed were good. Recommend If your looking to be near the lake, it's a 10 min walk from this hotel
We were a travelling group of 8 adults and 4 children. We all thoroughly enjoyed the hot breakfast to start our day. We had four rooms in total; all the rooms were spacious and well equipped kitchenette or full kitchens. We also took advantage of the pool and hot tub, and we were the only ones there.
This BEST WESTERN says it is a plus but does not even come close to other BW PLUS. Yes location is good. yes building and grounds look nice. but the rooms are very narrow, so narrow that it is hard to pass another person in the room. and the feel of the place is not that good.. many covid violations sighted, like no masks worn by guests. also the price or points is definitely not worth it. we have stayed in many much cheaper but way better BW'S. always wanted to try this hotel but never worked out til now. WE will stay in other hotels next time
Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable and the hotel observed good covid protocols. We had a kitchen unit, which was well equipped and the barbecues in a common area worked well. Much better than average breakfast room with fresh, hot choices. Excellent WiFi and above average cable tv and we really appreciated the availability of 3 EV chargers and being able to bring our small dog.
Clean, beds comfortable, pet friendly and they even have a grassy area in back for the dog to do her business. The breakfast was excellent too and the location is great for walking to restaurants. There is a terrific dog park in osooyos that is fenced in and clean.
What a wonderful 3 night stay we had. When you're busy out and about during the day it's so nice to come back to something that feels like home. Our ‘room' was an actual apartment with full kitchen with stove and dishwasher, complete living room, dining area, separate bedroom with 2 queen beds, bathroom with an area outside it with an extra sink and counter, lots of closets - you could stay here easily for a month. The location is great with everything a short walk or drive away. The indoor pool and hot tub area was very clean, breakfast room also very clean and well stocked, desk staff and housekeeping very friendly, plenty of parking. Tim Hortons muffins with the complimentary breakfast! That was a first. We can hardly wait to make a return trip to Osoyoos and will definitely stay at the Best Western Plus Sunrise Inn.
Millie ,the manager runs a tremendous operation. Breakfast are plentiful with great range of food available. All staff extremely polite. Well located hotel and within easy walk to Campo Marina .unfortunately no in house restaurant as closed due to Covid restrictions. .
Clean hotel with nice, friendly staff, Good service times for check in and out. Close to amusement park which the kids really enjoyed. Parking was a little strained as we had a trailer. Also had lunch at the restaurant which was super convenient!
Millie and her team were accommodating, available and willing to provide whatever we needed. Harman, Gur, Pargat, and the rest of the staff exceeded all expectations! When I saw Gur sweeping the sidewalk in front of the hotel by the road I could tell the staff take great pride in the Hotel and treat is as their home. The staff always greeted us with a friendly 'Hello' and a smile. The rooms are spacious, clean and the beds are very comfortable. Laundry onsite is a big bonus. The pool and hot tub area is always clean with plenty of fresh towels. I highly recommend anyone travelling to Osoyoos stay at the Best Western Plus Breakfast was hot. There were several options including gluten free. Coffee was always fresh and the staff where available to assist at anytime. Fantastic! I will continue to come back to the Best Western plus Osoyoos
Easy check in and out, clean hotel. We enjoyed a swim in the pool, which we had to book due to Covid-19. Breakfast was hot and fresh and well organized for social distancing. The entire hotel is clean and our room, although lacking a view, was very nice
Huge suites; we'd stayed in a cottage with kitchen (that we loved!!) And the bedroom alone here is larger. Has a full kitchen with full size stove & fridge plus dishwasher. Patio and pet friendly. A block walk to dog beach in one direction a couple of blocks to lake in opposite direction.
I stay at this hotel once a week with work, And want to say it's great! The pool area is nice, staff is very friendly, and it's nice they provide breakfast and have a confection area.. Rooms are comfy..Thanks for the great stays.
When you have a bad experience and report it to what you think is head office and then follow up again for just any reply back and still nada on a single response...what does that really tell you??? My pics will be proof in this but as words wise go...the pool area was so messy and not cared for by management with no clean towels left and no social distancing factor in place either. Most other "good" hotels have reservations in place so you do not have to be around any randoms and just have pool area to yourself for like 45 mins...not this BW! The hot tub felt quite dirty too! I do try and book places with a hot tub is thing for my back and to RELAX! Not much relaxing this stay! The next am I witnessed a lady in the common waiting area without mask on and the gal at the front desk just oblivious to that and right in front of her! This quickly became strike 3! The rest there is no point to discuss as nothing will be done anyways! Zero responses back means no rush at all to return!
Overall great experience, amazed by opening the door to my room since the pic on the website weren't good compared to the actual room. Very calm and welcoming environment and staff. Would love to stay with them again.
This hotel is a great stop for long or short term stays. Their one bedroom suites are roomy and have everything you need including a balcony. The regular room are comfortable and clean. The staff are always great to deal with and very friendly
Such a wonderful updated, clean and fresh hotel. Breakfast had delicious hot items that weren't expected. All aspects of stay from phone booking to checkout were above expectations. Thanks for the great service from the front desk clerk. She's a keeper!
We have stayed here 3 times now this past year, for a multiple night stay, and highly recommend this hotel. All Staff is happy, courteous and helpful. They have a variety of room styles that are pleasantly decorated, and very clean, plus pool and hot tub. The air conditioner is quiet (*v*). and the Kitchen suites are equipped with modern appliances, dishes and some pots and pans. A pair of wines on the table to greet guests. Though located on the edge of town, which is more industrial, and not on the water, it is only a 20 min walk or 5 min drive to the main strip. So if you want beach access, you will have to find the public beach area. It seems most of the beach areas are private to that accommodation facility. But there is the pool.
Realized I needed to stay the night in osoyoos on my way to a meeting, couldn't understand how to book the pets so I called the front desk and the gentlemen booked me over the phone no problem. 3 dogs
This is the first time we were back since this hotel was upgraded to a "Plus". We had the room with the king sized bed and in room jacuzzi. The jacuzzi was on the smaller side and my wife and I had difficulty both fitting in at the same time. The jacuzzi is better suited for one person only. The bed comfort level was acceptable. We had problems with the cards to open our room. We had to go several times to the front desk to get new operational cards. Overall my wife and I had a very relaxing time at this hotel. It was very quiet and we were able to rest (chill out). Certainly if we plan to be in Osoyoos, we will stay here
road trip through the Okanagan, and chose the Best Western for their welcoming dog policy. Overall our stay was ok, did not exactly like the state of the room. While we undestand that it is a pet room, it could be a little better maintained. friendly staff and quiet, but room was disappointing.
We stayed with our dog in a pet friendly room. We had a suite and there was ample room for a family of 5 plus dog. The pool and Hot Tub were open and very clean. All COVID measures were in place. We will definitely stay there again.
Last station on my January work trip all over BC. Always a pleasure being here, nice staff, quiet and clean rooms. a little more on the pricey side but worth it. I was there during the cold snap in January and had an icy draft in the room. Did let front desk know. Other than that all good
We only live 25 minutes away from hotel, we wanted a local getaway so we can rest and relax...enjoy the pool ...have breakfast ready for when we wake..just a pampering wknd for our family..the staff made our stay so enjoyable, very friendly and know their job and business..we r booking a stay once a month this whole year..family self care and enjoyment...cheers best Western osoyoos.thank you for everything
Went during the COVID period allowing travel in our area. The rooms are very comfortable. There were still some renovations that were taking place but it did not impact our visit too much. The free breakfast was suspended due to COVID. The location on the beach was appreciated. The town accommodation was fully booked so felt lucky to get Best Western. Lots of BCer's travelling locally during pandemic. Parking at the hotel was limited.
I picked this hotel as I felt that I could count on the brand. The hotel staff were very receptive to my needs (even for a gluten-free and vegan breakfast option). I had my dinner delivered re covid issues.
what a great stay , internet and hot tub was awesome! long day of driving on business, greeted warmly I honestly do not have a bad word for this property, it is clean, and the service is 100% Well done well done !
Everything good with this Best Western... Great friendly check in! Very polite young man! Great location and right next to a great pizza place and for spring to fall...Rattlesnake Canyon...a great family place! Excellent Covid protocols in place! Breakfast offered in am and that is rare!...a full breakfast somehow during Covid times! Very nice working hot tub jets!...the whole pool area is just great and clean with nice decor too! Good working internet. Good amount of tv stations. Clean spacious room. 5 of 5 stars for sure! Thanks and happy holidays! Nol, Kelowna, Dec 20/20. (:
This trip not far from home was a birthday getaway we had some gift certificates to use up by years end so we spent 2 nites in BW Osoyoos as it's one of our favourite hotels & we were in a suite which are extremely roomy & have everything you need in them -the room was very clean as was the hotel the staff are excellent & the beds are comfy too this hotel is an excellent place to stay
Wife and I stayed in October, hotel was quite busy for the time of year. Front desk staff were great checked in quickly used the app an requested some amenities and they made sure it was all ready for us. Booked a jacuzzi king suite. Room was large, bed super comfy and had a microwave fridge and coffee maker. Carpet and decor looked all brand new and room was spotless. Tub worked excellent and was great for anyone leary of covid and not wanting to use the hot tub. the pool and hot tub were never busy and facilities looked very clean. hotel is a very short walk from the lake and there is a great walking path.
Had a very nice room with Kitchenette. All clean including bathroom. Bed was comfortable and room was quiet. Reception professional and staff friendly. Breakfast included and it was a large breakfast Buffet with eggs, bacon, coffee, cereals, juice, pancakes, fruits, toast and more. Very good place if you are on holidays. As a business hotel I never stay in a place which has a “no cancellation” policy
Very much enjoyed my 2 day stay at the hotel. We were happy that we were allowed to take our bicycles into our room. The breakfast is awesome which despite stating was a continental breakfast did in fact include, sausage, bacon eggs and hash browns.
I arrived at the property, to find that my room had been apparently "upgraded." However, upon entering the suite, it had not been adequately cleaned, all of the living and dining room furniture was askew, garbage was left in the room from the previous guests, lighting did not work property in the washroom, and the lovely guest room with "balcony" that I had been supposedly upgraded to, overlooked a flat roof over a pool area with a noisy ventilation system that was located directly outside the bedroom window....within FEET of the balcony. This was not an enjoyable experience, and when I had asked the front desk for the "downgraded" suite I had originally booked I was told that there was no rooms left as the hotel was fully booked. I will never go back to this location, and I certainly wouldn't recommend it anyone else.
We have stayed in several different rooms here and all have peeling wallpaper. Room cleanliness has slipped this year. Just not a crisp clean that I expect from BW. We would like to see better rates for repeating guests during slower seasons..
The room was great as was the front desk staff. My biggest concern was that there was no wipedown of table between breakfast service. The staff controlled the number of people coming into the breakfast area, but the tables were not being wiped down and there was nothing there to use to do it myself. Didn't see staff cleaning/ wiping down the elevator buttons or other common areas either.
Stayed here as Best Western advertises that all their hotels in the US and Canada require mandatory masks while inside. It is posted right on their website under their Covid policies. No staff member that I saw were wearing a mask. Nor was there signage stating masks were required. When I asked the front desk they said they knew nothing about such policy. Otherwise the room was fine. Disappointed because we chose the hotel for their supposed stringent covid rules.
We enjoyed 2 restful nights here after days of driving and wine tasting. A nice get away and wanted to support the locals. We found many restaurants in the area and tried a pub on Main Street. We were lost and called the desk and she helped us navigate to this hotel. Addressed a complaint quickly and professionally.
First time staying in Osoyoos. Hotel is a short walk from the lake and beach amenities. We had two rooms in our party. One was a king jacuzzi suite and the other was a bedroom suite with two queens, hide-a-bed and a separate kitchen/living area. The 2Q suite would be good for a family. The hotel was a bit dated but fairly clean. It could do with an update in the near future. Covid protocols were in place but there was no one enforcing rules. Essentially people can't police themselves and if you didn't say something, those folks just continued on in their own manner. The restaurant was closed but you were still able to get your breakfast from the breakfast bar. The food there was the usual breakfast fare that all BW's serve.
Staff were friendly and checkin was fast. Stayed here for two nights and noticed they are not Covid safe. The breakfast area was packed, tables were not being disinfected, and staff were not monitoring guests and guiding them to keep a safe distance. Guests were eating and then going back to buffet without disinfecting. Guests were also not being seated and wandering around in a full dining room. Our room had old toilet rolls from the last guest and had the previous guests old food in our fridge.
Room on bottom floor was great. Fridge, microwave, and coffee maker all worked. Ice machine down hall worked great as well. Hot breakfast more like the usual continental with scrambled eggs and sausages added. Restaurant attached was closed.
This Hotel is not worth the 320.00 for one night. It is in desperate need of updating & more cleaning. They should be ashamed charging people that rate for one night. Would not book this on again. Mich T
awesome place to stay. close to everything. Room was big and clean Staff were excellent and on top of everything. Only thing that sucked were the eggs! As a complimentary breakfast it was expected though. Will stay again!
I highly recommend this hotel. We were only going to stay for 2 nights, but ended up staying for 4 . All the staff were so friendly, professional, and helpful. Our king room was spacious, with comfy bed and lots of pillows, and a real kitchenette with microwave, 2 burner hotplate, kitchen table and chairs ... lots of dishes, cutlery and real cups and glasses, including wine glasses. Bottles of local wines on the table to try if desired. Mini fridge with a good freezer. Important for us since we had frozen dinners, and ice packs. Other rooms were bigger with a full kitchen and separate bedroom. Very happy with our stay here, and will be returning. There is also a mini golf adventure land park on the property, but was not open because of the Covid-19 restrictions. Hopefully, it will be soon. But the hotel pool and hot tub were open to guests, a few at a time.
Our family went on a road trip and we stayed here for a couple nights. It was a great hotel experience and the first for my kids. They love the pool and breakfast! It would have been nice if the amusement park next door was open but given the circumstances we get it. It's just a good reason for us to come back. Our room was big, clean and fit our family of 5 very comfortably! I would highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be back : )
Very good hotel, clean and quiet. Got a top floor one bedroom with balcony. It was a very hot night, AC did a very good job, with no noise. Very good mattresses, mid firm as I like. Big kitchen area and living room. Polite and friendly staff. Good ratio price vs quality. Recommending!
Here is a Best Western that holds up the tradition of quality, cleanliness and friendly. Covid-19 approved in my opinion. Very very clean and I really appreciated it. After a long drive from Victoria and a 4 hour very wait to get off the island this hotel was a real treat.
We had to visit Prosody for essential travel during the pandemic and found BW Sunrise Inn a pleasant and welcome stop for that purpose. The staff were all cheerful , helpful and welcoming. The continental breakfast hit the spot.
Just a litle getaway for a night & we really like to stay at BW Sunrise. Millie, the manager & her staff aloways make you feel welcome. The rooms are a very good size & the bathroom is as well with tub & shower. It's always very quite at night. They take pride in their hotel & the rooms are always super clean & fresh. They also have a continental breakfast in the morning with eggs, sausage, waffles, fruit etc. it's very good to start your day. We have stayed here many times & love to return when we can.
Great hotel with fantastic staff the rooms are clean and the pool and hot tub are great. The on site laundry is very convenient and the helpful friendly staff have everything you need if you forget anything.
Great value at this hotel in the off-season. Plentiful breakfast and always well maintained. Clean rooms with nice amenities for a longer stay. Very convenient for our pet. Nice outside patio off the main floor.
My family and i were super impressed by best western in osoyoos room was lovely, big, quiet, and clean. I would recommend this place to anyone i run into. Staff were amazing and friendly thank you best western for the amazing stay.
Wonderful Christmas decorations, inside and out. Friendly seasonal welcome. Nice suite with all the amenities. Great customer service and food in breakfast room. Front desk personnel also friendly and informative.
The Inn is well located. It is right next door to Rattle Snake Canyon(a kiiddies play area with rides and mini gold & a wonderful ice cream shop. The Dairy Queen is also within a couple of blocks. Within walking distance is a beach on Osoyoos lake with swimmable water. The zinc has a restaurant which is good too & would be family friendly.
the location was great could walk into town , hot tub, friendly staff,.the breakfast was included and was good. lots of parking . being off season the town was quiet, the hotel is pet friendly so at times except some barking so make sure you get a room away from the dogs
We went to our room to find the tub was dirty and someone else's garbage in drawers. We did get a room change to find more garbage under couch and toilet was filthy. Front desk handle it well but it was still dirty. The breakfast was good but they ran out of alot of things. They allowed for a late check out . Front desk was awesome
Do not use paper plates, cups, plastic spoons in breakfast, or give option to use real mugs, plates, cutlary, to save the enviroment, put a dishwasher so clients can put their dishes away to be washed.
We had a marvelous time in Osoyoos in large part because of the great treatment we hot at the Best Western Sunrise Inn. The upgrade to a suite made our stay even nicer. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The hotel is very nice and modern. Has a pool and hot tub. Room was a nice size, fairly clean. Breakfast was included and was amazing. Lots of items to choose from. Staff was friendly and helpful. Does not have a pub on site, did not see one within walking distance.
The hotel is located close to Highway 3. The room was spacious with two queensize beds, a refridgerator, a bathroom with double sinks and a shower. Staff was friendly and the room seemed clean. Breakfast however I would not recommend it. Breakfast: dry bread, the scrambled eggs were lukewarm and placed in a broken serving tray. What we thought was a joke, was actually real: The plates were cardboard and the cutlery made of plastic. That was disappointing.
Decent room with some worn furniture and layout issues. Terrible breakfast. Good location, but Osoyoos is so small there really aren't any bad ones. Great area with lots of wineries to visit. We experienced unseasonable weather which cancelled our golf game. Got a trainee receptionist who didn't know how to deal with our Air Miles reservation, but it got sorted out. Go to Jojo's for coffee.
We were extremely satisfied staying in this hotel. This is the second time we stayed there and we highly recommend it. Everything is well looked after Clean and pleasing to the eye.The service is outstanding and a very good breakfast is served.
this is a great hotel from the service to a helping hand for great beds and the clean rooms and a great breakfast I have stayed here about 10 time before and I will be back again and also a great staff
My latest stay at two BW Plus places served food that was prepackaged and was awful. My recommendation is that they don't serve any eggs or meat products which are just reheated. Any fast food outlet is much better.
Room was lovely and clean. Couldn't get a ‘king' so were able to get 2 queens. Staff friendly. Were able to walk to a very good Pho restaurant nearby for dinner. Really enjoyed the ‘Rose Garden'. Wish we had time to stay longer.
This hotel is nicely appointed both in the lobby and the indivdual rooms. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast room was a little noisy like many motels but the foor was pretty good. We loved joking around with the desk clerk.
The stay was comfortable. Bedding was excellent, bed comfy, great pillows. Good food, efficient front desk, quiet and no charge parking!! The staff were friendly and I appreciate that I could grab fresh fruit anytime dor a snack!
We were on our way home and booked a Best Western half way. The hotel was on the highway and we had basic expectations of a clean room and nice breakfast. The front staff were prepared for us, friendly and helpful. When we opened the door to our room it was considerably more than expected. Kitchen, sitting area, bathroom with a sink and a separate sink in a small alcove beside the bathroom. There were two bottles of local wine on the counter that were available for purchase at a reasonable price. Breakfast included local fruit in season. The coffee was the best of our 10 day trip. I'm looking forward to stopping there again.
We were doing a four night tour of the Okanagan & Kootenay regions so thought it was a good time to redeem some of our "Loyalty Rewards" for a free night. We arrived very early ~ No Problem! In fact we were given an upgrade and were asked to park in one of the four elite member's spots ~ very convenient. The hotel is undergoing replacement of furniture but elevator access was not impacted. Our suite was excellent ~ large, clean and with a very comfortable bed. The hotel was full and yet noise level non-existent. Complimentary breakfast was excellent with variety of both hot and cold selections available. We had a very enjoyable "complimentary" stay The Loyalty Program woks!
This was a great hotel. Despite being awoken by the fire alarm. Someone was trying to burn the toast. Staff were very helpful. It was such a good hotel we stayed an extra two nights. Good location for all attractions. Had a guest laundry which was very handy.
Best Western Osoyoos, friendly staff Nice rooms, I found the bed slightly hard, but ok, sink was very slowly draining, bathroom maybe should be updated, but overall I was happy to stay there Breakfast good, Hottub and pool good
This was our second trip to Osoyoos and we stayed at this hotel both times. Front desk staff were very accommodating, satisfying our request to move from two queens to a king even though we were staying on points this time. We really appreciated the extra space and a little table. Breakfasts were pretty good with seasonal fruit (peaches and plums) as well as all the usual stuff. I especially liked the potatoes. We would stay here again
Was pleasantly surprised to have a hot breakfast option of Hashbrowns; sausages and scrambled eggs. The only drawback of our stay was the cleanliness of the room. top of fridge was very dusty and the windows were so dirty you could barely see out of them. Staff were all very friendly however.
Stayed 1 night on road trip that took us through the Okanagan. Booked ahead and were delighted with the hotel when we arrived. 2 queen room was very large, spotlessly clean and super comfortable. Breakfast room is really nice and breakfast included eggs, bacon, hash browns, pancakes and all the other regular cold items. Staff at the desk and breakfast room were all very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.
Good service. Reasonable price. Nice and convenient place. Breakfast can be improved with more variety of food. The same hotel in US has much more variety of food in comparison. The fitness area was very hot in August and good conditioner has to be a good solution.
Super great experience. Clean, friendly staff, great continental breakfast. Awesome clean pool the kids loved. Also had an area for having your own BBQ. Would stay here again. Great location - close to beach and adventure park.
5 of us including 3 teens stayed for 2 nights in august. Brilliant, spacious family room with separate bedroom, 2 TVs, bathroom with separate sink area and huge kitchen. Small Indoor pool and hot tub. Central Location next door to Rattlesnake canyon with mini-golf and other family fun activities. Good full breakfast included (with waffle makers) was a big hit with my boys! Best Western never disappoints!
We love going to BW when going to osoyous as it feels like going home. The staff are very friendly and willing to help us with anything you need. The manager (Millie) is always available to speak to. It has a full hot breakfast and they make sure the containers are always kept full. A delightful place to go and there are many activities to take in.
Stayed for three days on a golfing vacation and were very pleased to have all four rooms upgraded to suites!Absolutely the best rooms I have stayed in at a BestWestern and were given superb service. Would definitely recommend this hotel to all that are staying in Osoyoos.
Stayed one night as we where traveling through. The lady from England was on the front desk and she was so lovely and knowledgeable. Rooms and public areas really clean, great selection at breakfast. Would 100% stay here again. Date of stay: Jan
We had been on a road trip and came back into Canada. Our route plan had booked us in for the night with several friends. They had lost our reservation however it was quickly correct. Services were good and rooms clean.
The hotel had an awesome breakfast Very clean up dated rooms. Awesome friendly staff that went out of their way to make your stay very comfortable. The hotel was going under a big Reno and we weren't told when booking but they gave us a complementary bottle of wine to help out the issue. It has an awesome restaurant attached and a huge outdoor exibition type place. Rides mini golf bumper boats go carts and much more. The indoor pool was a disappointment it was very hot with no windows to open. And we were told it was walking distant to the beach (not) that was disappointing. Over all it was a good place to stay.
very good. Right from the start we were comfortable. this is a very safe location and the evening strolls along the walk way by the water were very enjoyable. It is perfect for my grand kids with the pool facilites and the location of Rattlesnake Park right next door. Very much enjoyed the breakfast every morning! :)
GREAT mid-range family option. Dog-friendly, parking friendly, modernized rooms, comfy beds, free and very decent full breakfast, free coffee OK (Timmy's). Friendly and helpful staff. Good air-con (essential in Osoyoos), great Telus TV and WI-FI, hot tub, pool, some cardio machines for fitness. Provided great access for dogs' outside needs. What else is there? Oh yeah, very decent attached resto with big portions and family friendly prices. Friendly staff there as well.
We're staying here for a week and we got an amazing room. Hotel is not too far from the lake at all. Right next to the rattlesnake canyon which is great for the kids! They have complimentary breakfast which is awesome! Saves us a lot of money on food while we're here. The room is absolutely gorgeous and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. They were able to bring us an extra mattress for all the people we hadn't in our room. I would definitely recommend anyone coming to Osoyoos to stay at best western.
We've stayed at the BW Sunrise in Osoyoos, BC a few times. During both of our stays the hotel has been under renovation. Aside from the balcony being off limits for one day and the breakfast lounge a bit unorganized, it was a tiny inconvenience. It was clean. We will certainly go back to this hotel again when in the area. The people are kind and the units clean and comfortable. We have a small dog so it was important to us he be welcomed. The staff even stopped to talk to him and pet him. There is a dog beach/park about a block away and the Rattle Snake Park for both adults and children right next door. Quiznos and Makia's restaurants attached and the Dairy Queen, Pizza 97, and Campo Italian restaurants within walking distance. It's a great place to stay! PS. Great Dog Parks in Osoyoos.
Pretty standard stuff, our room was perfectly satisfactory BUT was at the end of the hall on the ground floor and the emergency exit door was propped open the whole time we were there. I would have thought this was a security issue but no one seemed concerned. We planned on a swim but the pool area was VERY busy and too noisy for our liking. Also, I would avoid parking against the back of the building as we did. Unfortunately, their sprinklers left water marks in the paint on the hood of our car. It took HOURS of polishing to clean them off.
Above average stay with reasonable and quiet location with a decent breakfast and good pool/hot tub area. Could use updated mattresses. Not all rooms have balconies therefore be aware, however next door to amusement park.
Stayed for one night over the Canada Day long weekend. Friend had recommended this hotel to us as they had previously stayed and enjoyed their stay, so I'm chalking it up to the hotel being overwhelmed by the guest volumes of the long weekend for our slightly disappointing stay. First disappointment was being told that we'd be charged in advance of our stay. I had previously called them to confirm whether charges would be made to my credit card (I booked for multiple families) before or after the stay, and was told that we could choose to pay card or cash while checking out. However, at check in, they told us that we would be charged in advance the whole sum, and also the deposit. Normally, this is not an issue but I was not happy because I had specifically called to confirm this and was told otherwise. The rooms were all clean and amenities provided. Two bottles of water are complimentary. We stayed in their one bedroom suite, which has two beds in a bedroom and a separate living and kitchen area. Right before bed (already around midnight), we turned on the fan in our washroom and found that the switch broke... we could no longer turn it off. Figured since we were only staying one night and wanted to get some rest, we'd just let it be and not bother calling someone at past midnight. Breakfast was included. Pretty standard continental breakfast, but they clearly had trouble keeping up with the number of guests. The coffee machine was broken for most of breakfast time, waffle mixture machine was out of mix often, and scrambled eggs were never replenished fast enough. In addition, the toaster had a "feature" where there was no automatic "pop" when the toast was done. You had to "pop" it back out yourself, and there was no signage for this. There were two fire alarms throughout the morning. I was only there for the first one, which was caused by burnt toast. I'm guessing the second fire alarm was probably the same reason. Please put some signage to tell us the toaster doesn't work automatically! Like previously mentioned, they were probably at full capacity due to the long weekend and just couldn't keep up with the large number of guests. There is plenty of parking available for hotel guests, the front desk will ask you if you have any cars. Overall, I would still consider staying here if I were to revisit. Staff in general were friendly and doing their jobs. Perhaps not over another long weekend though.
This hotel is very good. The manager and her staff go out of there way to make your stay the best ever. I would highly vote this hotel as a great stay in osoyoos. Rooms are big, and the staff are wonderfull
Lars at the front desk starts you off with a great experience. Wonderful ambassador for the hotel. As rewards members were we given an upgrade. The amenities and closeness to the beach/ lake were great. If you have children and looking for a long stay...ie a week, this is a great choice. The suites are roomy and well appointed. It also has lots of fun things to do within walking distance,
Osoyoos B/W do their very best to make our stay a great experience. We always get an upgrade, whether we ask or not, if they have the room (we are Best Western members). Rooms or suites are always clean, up to date and quiet. Stay here.
Smooth check in. The staff was very attentive to the type of room we needed. Desk clerk Elisha was very friendly and helpful. She gave us great information about local restaurants and the Home Hardware in Town- the best in Canada! Something for everyone. Will return!
This stay exceeded expectations; staff was efficient and very friendly. There whole hotel had good vibes and I would recommend it. It is close to the main area of town and both lakes. We atayed two nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Beautiful!
We were with a large golf group so big diversity in wants and wishes. Did not hear one negative. Nice restaurant attached plus a Quiznos . Breakfasts were well presented and breakfast was vast. Very good selections and attentively replenished when needed. Likely best Best Western we have visited. Great for kids as a safe indoor pool and large amusement park close by. Very busy hotel for a reason. Large clean rooms. Shared room with another golfer and the separate living kitchen area great if you do not have same sleeping hours or habits.
What a great hotel, we went for a wine tasting weekend. The suite had everything we needed, it was quiet. The king sized beds were comfy. We really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, which included eggs, sausages, potatoes, waffles, muffins..........etc. I could go on, but you get the picture. We will definitely be going back.
Had a great time with my daughter and granddaughter. We had a third floor suit with a kitchen, living room and bedroom which was recently renovated. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub in the evenings. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic as was the manager Millie!
Our stay at the best western sunrise inn was fantastic!! The staff is super friendly and helpful with all needs. The room was very clean and spacious. Millie the manager was great to us as well as Lars at the front desk. 10/10 would recommend and would stay again :)
We stayed 2 nights and had a balcony. The free breakfast was yummy and lots of choices waffles, yogurt with fresh fruit. Cereal bar and rolls, muffins, bread&bagels. Close to walk to town and beach and resturants. We would love to come stay again.
This Particular Hotel has a lot of positives... speedy check in, modern rooms with all the amenities including a nice continental breakfast with some hot foods, and a great location to see what the south Okanogan has to offer
This was our second stay and both were great Clean, comfortable and nicely furnished, with a very friendly staff. The location is convenient for anyone traveling through as we were. Easy access to the quaint center of town.
The hotel was fantastic. Large rooms. Very clean. Friendly staff. Very nice pool and hot tub. The pull out couch is a bit flimsy. Right next store to Rattlesnake Canyon amusement park. Excellent prices.
We stayed here for two days, and it was a really nice time. The facility is clean, neat, updated, and has really a really nice breakfast, and there is coffee available into the night. The rooms are comfortable, and it is within walking distance of a park on the lake and just across the bridge a few blocks from downtown. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. Parking is very handy. The cost was very reasonable.
The staff at the Best Western in Osoyoos really put their hearts into creating a comfortable stay for their guests. From the front desk to each person who helps present a clean and appealing hotel, the service was great! The restaurant provided a wonderful meal for a special celebration we had, the hotel offers a great selection of breakfast options and every need or request for assistance we made was met with prompt, caring and efficient service from staff. An excellent experience in a well located hotel.
We have stayed here 2 years in a row for mother's day weekend. Staff is always great. Rooms are clean and updated. Close to everything. Never even new that there was a restaurant in the hotel. Never went. Quiznos is in the hotel to but useless, open 10-4:30.
had a mini holiday in Osoyoos and enjoyed the Best Western so much..from the time we got there till when we left, the service was great and the staff were so friendly. The beds were cozy, and it was so quiet at night...the breakfast was quite tasty and had a lot to choose from. We quite enjoyed our supper experience too.
I had booked this trip to Osoyoos as a last minute getaway for my kids and husband. It has been a rough couple of months for us so we needed some time to just relax and enjoy. Once we checked into the hotel we were notified that our suite was on the first floor and it was a disability friendly room. I felt bad that I had booked a room that someone else could have used. I spoke to the receptionist and without hesitations she told me she could change my room the next day. So the next morning, with our luck we were offered a big suite on the second floor. We were very happy with our larger suite. We had a great time at the hotel and everyone was so nice and welcoming. The breakfast was good and the eating space was nice and clean. On our last night we decided to use the pool and it was so calm and quiet but within 20 mins it became packed. However there was some kind of commotion in the pool between two groups of guests. I also noticed some guests had brought in non- water drinks into the pool area. We left the pool area after and not sure what happened. On our way up to our room I noticed the back door exit wasnt working properly. I hope they get that fixed as soon as possible as that that could be a safety hazard during an emergency.
Staying at the Best Western Sunrise Inn was the perfect choice for my trip to Osoyoos. My son and I travelled to Osoyoos for a hockey tournament and the stay was very economical. There was plenty to do with the Mini Golf, Go Karts, and Rides next door at Rattlesnake Canyon. The facility is also close to many wineries which is also very nice. I would stay here again for sure.
This hotel has truck parking out on the street in front of the hotel.staff is extremely friendly and courteous. They have a nice breakfast. This hotel would be a nice place to bring your family.I will definitely come back.
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. I'm recovering from an injury and particularly appreciated the pool facility. It was spacious, clean and great for my ongoing therapy. We have 2 service dogs who were welcomed with great kindness. If we take the same route home, we will definitely go back to the Sunrise Best Western.
The room was clean and very quiet. After a day of driving, had a good rest. Breakfast in the morning was very good. Would recommend this hotel. They are in the midst of doing some renovations, so will be better next visit.
Select rooms are being renovated. Nice Best Western is keeping properties updated with new flooring and fixtures. Our room had been updated which adds to the ambience. Local wine is available to purchase in each room.
Had a suite, it was nice because when we were not at a game, we each had our own bedroom, t.v.. Breakfast was great, lots of choices. Price was really good. Staff was really great. It was close to the restaurants we went to, some within walking distance.
My husband and I have travelled from the East Coast to the West Coast over the past several years and we ALWAYS stay at a Best Western Hotel. We have found the Best Western to be easily accessible, reasonably priced, extremely clean and staffed with the friendliest and most knowledgeable staff. We enjoy their continental breakfasts (that come with the night's stay) and every question we've ever had to ask was answered by a helpful, knowledgeable, friendly staff member. If an answer is not readily available, you can be sure one of the staff will get that answer for you really quickly, and in a warm, friendly manner. I can't think of one single negative thing to say about the Best Western. If I could afford it, I would truly give up my apartment and live, FULL TIME in a Best Western Hotel.
Previously reviewed and I gave them a lower review than I should have. When we received the bill it was lower than expected. There was only $25 pet charge for both dogs rather than $40 per pet. Much more reasonable. It is a good place for dogs as there is a lovely nature reserve right next door which was great for a dog walk.
The staff here were all very pleasant and helpful. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We were very happy to find a restaurant attached to the hotel so we didn't have to go out in the snow to get a meal. The food was very good and very plentiful..could easily have shared a plate! We would definitely recommend this Best Western.
Very nice hotel with excellent, clean rooms and professional staff. Best hotel in town. I was surprised by the size of the room and it was such a quiet hotel. Breakfast was fantastic. Will stay here again.
Great staff and accommodated issues Clean hotel Clean and good tasting breakfast Jacuzzi tub was not clean brown stuff floating in the water once jets started. I would stay again and recommend hotel to others
Stayed a week to get away for a while and have some "me" time. Excellent staff and hotel, very pleased. Had a queen suite with kitchen - spacious, comfy bed, great full kitchen. A bit lacking in the.cooking tools department but in the end I managed fine (take your own sharp knife and can opener). Included breakfast had lots of variety of hot and cold foods. Staff were friendly and efficient. Cleanliness was excellent. Very happy, will stay here again. Excellent winter rates, good value.
We will certainly stay here again. The staff, including the cleaning staff, were all friendly and happy to answer any questions we had or direct us to where we wanted to go. The breakfast was very good and the room large and comfortable. We will for sure stay here again.
Another Best Western hotel with good value for your money, at least in the offseason. I'm not sure what their summer rates would be. Check-in and check-out staff were very friendly, very much enjoyed your restaurant attached to the hotel. Little bit off the mean area of town but with him 15 to 20 minutes walking distance to the downtown core.
While in Osoyoos for a family get together, we spent a night here. It was a good price, the room was clean and the continental breakfast had a lot of options: cold and hot. I found the shower head shot out water like needles and couldn't seem to adjust it. The hot tub was like a warm bath instead of a hot tub. The bed was comfortable enough though. Overall, a good place for a quick stop. The best part was that our family has a member with MS and we were told this hotel allows their group to exercise in their pool every week as a community support. This is a tribute to their community spirit.
One of the best stay ever. Love the staff and rooms are so quite. Breakfast is the best option. Everyone is helpful and nice. Love the mckia restaurant food and the rattlesnake amusement park is just in front of the hotel. Would love to stay there again.
This hotel is a 90-minute drive from home and our favourite spot for a quick get-a-way vacay. Once again, the hotel is undergoing some renovations. We appreciate their constant upgrading, both inside and out. Our rooms have always been immaculate, the grounds well kept and the pool/jacuzzi area spotless with plenty of towels. Keep up the good work. We will return again early 2019.
clean, close to everything, a lot of parking space, close to many restaurants breakfast is ok as well nothing bad to say also easy to walk to and from restaurants would be practical to have a microwave in all the rooms it was very warm and hard to set the temperature
I hesitated as to whether I was going to review this place or not. We've stayed here a few times in the past and have always loved it but this time our stay was not as nice. The first issue we had was that our room door did not lock. We were on our way out for dinner and as we shut the door, we noticed that you could open it without the key. I called down to the front desk and she said that that was a problem that should have been fixed already, but obviously wasn't. She was able to move us into another room but this one did not have a balcony. I think it was the only one in the entire hotel that didn't as it was located on the roof. The problem came when we were preparing to go to bed. We pulled out the hide-a-bed in the couch and were absolutely disgusted by the mattress or what they were passing off as a mattress. The cover was ripped and the zipper on it was broken exposing the foam underneath and there were stains of various sorts on it including blood. I wouldn't let my dog sleep on it let alone my kids. It was terrible and insulting as a paying guest that a hotel would allow something this awful to be slept on. After calling down to the front desk again, I was told the hotel was booked for the night and there wasn't anything they could do as the manager would not be in until morning. My kids ended up sleeping on the floor which wasn't much better but we had no choice. The next morning I did speak with the manager who was horrified by what I told her and set about making it right. We ended up getting a new mattress for the couch and got a good percentage off of our bill. I felt really bad for the night desk clerk as she was run off her feet and seemed close to tears by all the issues people were having that night. Its too big of a job to just have one person on in the summer at night. They are or were in the middle of renovations and I was assured that they are getting new hide-a-bed couches as part of that renovation. Its because of that and the fact that they were very apologetic and relatively quick (should be able to deal with issues as they come up no matter what time of the day it is instead of having to wait until morning) to fix the problems that we will give this hotel another chance. We have stayed in it every year for 4 summers and like it because of its size and location. So I'm hoping this was a one off and we won't have issues like this again. And in a place like Osoyoos where rooms are booked months and months in advance and there is virtually no vacancies in the summer, it frustrating to have to put up with major issues like we did because we had no option of moving to another hotel.
We've stayed here a few times over the last couple of years and have been satisfied every time. They are still in the process of renovations, but it did not impact us at all. They have a very nice new indoor pool and hot tub setup.
Great staff, beautiful rooms, clean and great breakfast! Was so impressed with the manager and her staff - went out of their way to make me feel welcome. The breakfast was great and nice and hot. Would recommend this hotel to anyone!
The hotel was clean, staff were welcoming, our room and beds were very comfortable. We would be happy to stay in this hotel on another holiday. The location of the hotel was very close to wineries, the beach and the downtown shopping area.
We thought we were booking this hotel on their web site but instead it jumped to a different site that charged us a huge booking fee! When we discussed it with the front desk they said they could not do anything about it! The hotel itself was fine. The rooms were quiet and clean, the beds comfortable! The breakfast room needs an update! The carpet has bubbles and is easy to trip on! The room is not set up practically.. bread on one side with toaster, plates, butter and jam on the other side of the room... etc etc Again when we talk to the front desk about it we were told some people don't mind it!!!! A bit of an attitude! this is unusual for a Best Western
This was our first night of a 7+ day vacation and what a great way to start. The hotel room was so comfortable. The staff recommended a nice restaurant across the street and it was one of the best meals ever. Would have loved to stay longer but had to get on with the road trip. Will definitely be back in the near future!
Service is friendly and efficient. Room is quiet and comfortable. Minimal toiletries automatically provided. Laundry machines were a priority for our stay and they work very well. Hotel location is very convenient. Complimentary breakfast is fair, nothing special.
Oysoyoos has limited upgraded hotels and the Sunrise Inn BW is one of them. Clean, comfortable newer beds, good thick towels and non-scratchy bed sheets. The hotel was full but never heard my neighbours. The hotel is right beside a mini golf/amusement park that is quite busy in the summer (according to the front desk). During our stay in Sept the amusement park was open but few participants- no noise and was a delight to walk over and play a game of mini golf. My only comment was more of an amusement finding than complaint, at breakfast they had Bananas from Ecuador, Oranges from the US... where was the local fruit Pears, Peaches, local Apples??? 100 mile diet and reducing the carbon print could work. Otherwise the breakfast offered was tasty. Excellent pool and jacuzzi plenty of towels for use. Excellent free WiFi connection, Free parking. The professional front desk recognised my BW status and gave an upgraded room - very kind thank you. I would recommend this hotel if you are staying in Oysoyoos.
Nice clean hotel. Friendly service. Breakfast is the best we've had at a place where it is included with the room. Good value for the level of service compared to others in the area. Would definitely stay here again.
The hotel is very nice, offers free breakfast. We were upgraded to Suite and the room was very big. The location is outstanding! Harman and Alicia at check in were nice. The check in was quick and smooth. I will definately stay here again.
our stay exceeded our expectations. the staff was very courteous at check in and helpful. room was very nice, very clean and comes with breakfast, which we enjoyed.manager upgraded us for our third night to a big suite. Easy to find and close to many things. Thanks for the great stay,we will be back!
21 of us on motorcycles pre-booked into the Best Western for a weekend stay and ride Sept 7 thru 9, 2018. Booking via telephone was extremely easy with Derek at the front desk. He went out of his way to ensure all our questions were answered and explained what amenities the hotel offered which would best suit our group. It was an exceptional experience which our group will utilize again.
Fast and quick check in. Quiet andComfy beds. Close to all amenities and the restaurant on the property is fabulous. Soup of the day was so tasty and so was the burger. Derek -sales manager was a wealth of information.
This hotel is a good location for a base for our group of 4 couples who were touring the wine country. The staff were very helpful in assigning rooms close together. Good parking for cars and within walking distance to good restaurants for dinner. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Would not hesitate to return.
We stayed at this place for 5 nights in August. The hotel was well built and had seen its glory days; it could use some touch up and renovation (just about every other building in the town seems that way, too) but everything functioned as it should and the staff was helpful and friendly. It is not right next to the beach but is close enough (walking distance to Cottonwood park where public can access the beach). The suite with kitchen that we stayed in was just like a home away from home to us, quite nicely laid out and spacious; it had a full kitchen which was quite useful and we used it fully. The continental breakfast was adequate and decent. I would recommend this place if you do not mind walking a short distance to the beach. Otherwise, try others that are right next to the beach.
The Hotel Check in and Check out was fast. The Front desk was very helpful. There was parking around the back that filled up at nights. Right beside the Hotel there is a small amusement park thats great for kids. The Breakfast was ok, the waffle makers stuck constantly. It is a good location in Osoyoos. The restaurant on site is TOP NOTCH. It doesn't look like much, but really, go in. The kids meals were good and presentation is what you would expect in a higher class restaurant. The burger and salad I ordered was HUGE, and good. The pool was big and well kept, with a hot tub. There were lots of towels about to use, you didn't have to beg at the front desk for extra towels for using at the pool like most hotels.I would recommend this place to whomever is looking for a place to stay with kids.
It's an OK hotel.Staff are great for sure No views of anything.Right next door to a mini amusement park Rooms are big with full kitchen which is nice Nice big bathroom Indoor pool and hotub look pretty good Nice comfy bed I wouldn't sit on the couch or chair due to uncleanliness It does the job to sleep in but not a destination accommodation Scrambled eggs for breakfast with waffles, toast, cereal etc Air con unit very noisy
great room it was clean and had lots of room pleasant staff very nice to talk to and gave lots of info on the area of town we were in helpfull staff helped us get a map on how to get to the border to continue on with our trip
This is the second time I've stayed in this location and was again very satisfied with my stay. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, internet was fast and parking was easy and it was pet friendly (our dog is part of the family vacation). There was hotel amenities such as business center to use, pool for the kids, breakfast that was included, a Quiznos Sub and a restaurant. What made it great was the staff, everyone was always helpful and friendly! I would definitely recommend this location and would stay again.
My husband and I stayed in a family suite with our daughter, her husband and two youngsters, ages 5 and 2. Restaurant closed the first night for private affair...eating "in" was one reason we chose BW. Disappointed. When it came time for bed, the hide-away my husband and I were to sleep on was broken in the frame. Called front desk to report it. They offered to change rooms but we had JUST got the children asleep so said we would do so in the morning. The manager was less than happy about this next morning. Barely spoke to us. No eye contact. Sour face. No apology. When asked if we could move at that time, he answered "Well all my data tells me the room is empty now, so as far as I know, you can." Later, that day, my son in law and the 2 year old got stuck in the elevator. When the doors shut, the alarms started, the elevator went pitch black and my grandson was terrified. The emergency phone didn't work to call for help and after 5 minutes of banging and shouting by my s in l, another customer of the hotel opened the door. We almost had a repeat of this the next morning but we got off pretty quickly when the doors got stuck while trying to shut. When we opened the hideaway bed the second night, we found all kinds of garbage and leftovers from previous renters on the floor under the springs...mouldy caramel corn, ear buds, a piece of costume jewellry. There was no bottom sheet for the mattress when we got the bedding out. The pool had a white residue on the tile all around the edge which looked like chemical splashes. We left the pool, not taking a chance on any more mishaps. I am so disappointed since Best Western Plus is my favourite, most reliable brand to book. Have never had a negative experience before but this makes me nervous about using them again soon.
Close to the center and next to the small entertainment park. Friendly and helpfull resception. We had a corner suite with sep. bedroom and kitchen. We had lots of space incl. a balcony. Cleanness of the room was only so so and the equipment in the kitchen will not let you cook with pleasure.. The breakfast with some warm dishes was ok but we (europeans) can not understand that you eat from recyclable plates and cutlery in a three star hotel. (The garbage can for all disposables was standing next to the buffet.) That's just a no go.
This hotel is just north of the US Border about 5 miles and close to a few south Okanagan wineries. The beds were super comfortable. The bathroom has adequate amenities including a hair dryer and the shower had good shelf space for toiletries. A 5 hour drive from downtown Seattle.
Very welcoming and accommodating staff. Room was clean and well insulated from noise; which was essential as the hotel is situated on a busy highway and next to an amusement park. Prefer a firmer mattress while the breakfast was satisfying.
Stayed here for 3 nights while attending a celebration of life. While not on the beach, the hotel is close to a couple of restaurants and an amusement park. Staff very nice, rooms were clean, nice to have a kitchenette. Cleaning of rooms was minimal but adequate for what we needed
A friend and I took a somewhat last-minute trip to Osoyoos and due to limited options in July, we chose the Best Western as it was one of the only places with two beds. We paid around $250 Canadian per night, which is expensive in my opinion for a run-of-the-mill Best Western. Our room was clean, the AC worked fine and it was fairly quiet for being off the main drag and next to an amusement park, but that's about the extent of the positives. One of the most irritating aspects about the room was the lack of electrical outlets. Not only did you have to find something to unplug if you wanted to charge your phone but there were light fixtures in our room with dangling cords with no outlet in reach to plug them in (??). As such, lighting in the room was very limited. I get it that the building is probably old but many hotels have made upgrades to include desktop devices with multiple outlets for plugging in phones, tablets, computers, etc. In this day and age, that should be standard, especially at $250/night. The towels were another complaint. They are white towels but were either very old or the hotel does not use bleach because the raised pattern on the towels were an unsightly yellow. This was especially highlighted as it seems we were given one new washcloth which was bright white so the yellow stained towels really stood out against that. The hotel was sold out during our stay which meant the breakfast situation was chaotic each morning with nowhere near enough chairs and tables to accommodate a full house. And good lord the waste! All paper plates, plastic utensils, etc. with no option for recycling or composting. Super disappointing. But, I suppose beggars can't be choosers when booking last minute. For what we paid, we felt it was a poor value. Perhaps in the offseason or once they complete their renovations things might be better.
We stayed at the Best Western last weekend and it was mostly what you'd expect. Comfortable bed, clean room, and a decent breakfast. The price here seems to have increased over the last few years and there are definitely nicer hotels where you can stay at for a similar price now.
This hotel was a decent place to stay. Rooms were on the small side and being pet friendly it didnt offer much spece or amenities that made it this way. Resturant was closed as we visited on a Wednesday and only open eatery neary by were places like DQ, Pizza or Quiznos. Overall I would consider this place overpriced for the price you pay
Quick check in, friendly staff, very clean and updated hotel. This hotel is very close to all the paces we visited in Osoyoos. Everything in the room worked. The most important thing for me is a Clean and comfortable bed. Had a great night sleep :)
This is always a great place to stay! Clean comfortable and friendly. We can always count on it to be a nice break on our road trip. Nice pool and fitness room. Breakfast suits all family members. Staff is always friendly. Great location too.
This hotel is right in the centre of activity, close to all the great attractions of this beautiful area. The room was well lit, very clean and modern, with an excellent bed. Very happy with our stay, the friendly staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. The breakfast was very tasty with a wide range of cereals, bagels, muffins, eggs, bacon, waffles, fruit and yogurt. Nice variety of drinks as well. Would definitely stay again if we visited the area again!
Rooms at this hotel are accessed from an interior corridor. The room was very nice with a refrigerator but unfortunately no microwave. I used the fitness center which was good, although it didn't open until 7:00 am and I would have preferred to get in earlier. Breakfast and the breakfast room were good. Staff were friendly and professional. This seems like a well run hotel in a pleasant community.
The suites were very nice, just renovated. Views awesome. Staff helpful. Actual crispy waffles, and their sausage was cooked just right. Arrive early because it's right next door to mini golf. Would totally stay again.
The location of Best Western in Osoyoos is great. Just enough away from the crowds and stil walking distance to everything. The staff is friendly, courteous and helpful. Room are spacious and the beds are comfortable with white linens and that is important to us. We always get a room facing north and it's nice and quiet. We'll be back still this year.
We visit Osoyoos Spring and Fall to do a wine tour and always come back to the BW. The rooms here are spacious and super clean. They include a breakfast as well that has lots to offer including hot foods. Great value.
The Best Western in Osoyoos was a nice place to stay. Rooms were clean and spacious, good value for the price. The pool area was well maintained. Breakfast was simple but good, a nice variety of choices.
Good location, affordable rates. Quick and easy check-in. Room was clean and well looked after, decent size. Friendly, helpful staff. Didn't take advantage of the pool or hot tub, but wifi worked fine. We're used to a relatively decent breakfast at Best Western Hotels and this was certainly no exception. Lots of choices. Would be happy to stay here again and to recommend to fellow travelers.
Large room with 2 queen size beds. Very clean, comfortable and quiet. Next door to a small amusement park for kids but not a noisy one. Hot breakfast included. Check in lady was very friendly and helpful. Definitely would choose again if we were passing through. Great value for money
This place is first rate, clean rooms, continental breakfast, easy going staff, we will be back next year. Third year out group has been here and live the parking lot parties they allow us to have. Hotrods and lawn chairs, coolers and friends... good place to stay
I was an evacuee of the Osoyoos Lake flood in May 2018. Millie, Derek and the family at the Best Western took me in on May 15. I could not have been in better hands until my return home on Thu May 31. These guys could write the book on customer service. Millie and Derek, thank you from the team and families of OK Wine Shuttle. John.
The Best Western Plus Sunrise Inn is everything you'd expect from a Best Western in a great location. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The Staff are welcoming and their service is great. A breakfast is included in the rate. It is what travellers have come to expect from a so called 'free' breakfast. An assortment of breads and cereals with a waffle maker if you like that sort of thing. There is the industry standard scrambled eggs with bacon or sausage, re-heated fresh every day. Juices, milk and coffee round out the daily offerings. Breakfast is very nicely served in a dedicated room with the morning news on TV and friendly faces all around. There is a restaurant on site that is open for Lunch and Dinner. The food and service is excellent although it is not operated by the hotel.
Despite the hotel being full, we had a restful stay in our spacious jacuzzi room facing north. The blackout curtains closed completely / properly, and so combined with the hotel being quiet, it made for a peaceful, restful night. The bathrooms are a touch on the small side, with limited counter space. But the amenities are very nice and the shower was great. The breakfast had standard BW fare, except they ran out peanut butter... Big unhappy face. Being so busy, breakfast staff were not as personable as we've experienced at other Best Westerns. We found the wall paintings in the pool area and lobby a bit cheesy, but we did appreciate the numerous gorgeous rose bushes in the grounds / parking area.
A very nice hotel in a great location. The staff was friendly, attentive and informative. The room was very clean and comfortable. It is easily accessible to the town, vineyards, mountains and lakes. I would definitely recommend it!
We have stayed at this Best Western Osoyoos several times. The staff is friendly, always have our reservation ready, the rooms and beds are comfortable. We had dinner at the attached restaurant which was very good. We will be back.
The staff are super friendly. Renovating right now, so that is likely the cause of some of the challenges experience, so no need to mention them. Nice to have a restaurant and a Quizno's attached to the hotel, options are always nice to have. Having a fun park next door was wonderful, too. Disliked being at the fun park, though and having to smell cigarette smoke from hotel customers in the parking lot of the hotel. The grounds are kept really well.
Booked in with a group of friends. Front desk staff was very friendly and efficient. Hotel is spotless, our room was spotless and gorgeous - with a little balcony attached that had 2 comfy chairs and a little table (so cute, but thoughtful extras). The bed and pillows were super comfy. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel and pubs/restaurants within walking distance (including the lake). There is an amusement park right beside the hotel, but we didn't go there. Didn't use the pool or hot tub either. We have been here once before and enjoyed it so much we made it back again this year and, hopefully, will make it here next year.
Excellent breakfast and customer services. We came with our family and had the family suite with a full kitchen and separate bedroom. Worked perfectly. The kids loved the pool and the full breakfast. We would come again.
We started our trip from Seattle Washington to Canadian Rockies Canada few days ago. It was a long drive to cross the border. Osoyoos is the town right next to the border. It is a very pretty little town surrounded by lake. This hotel is not on the shore but only few minutes away. We was on 2nd floor. They have balcony so we had our very first dinner on the balcony. It was very hot day but sitting on the balcony with cool breeze making big difference. We enjoyed our stay here. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and spacious. The continental breakfast was good enough for our day. It was a memorable experience to stay in this Best Western hotel and very good one
Friendly and helpful staff. The staff were working extra hard do to local flooding which gave them a full house. Our room was really comfortable and well equipped. The only problem was we were right against the stairwell on the ground floor. Every time someone ran up or down the stairs, we could hear it as our head board was against that wall.
This is our 2nd time staying at this hotel, though the first time was 5 years ago. They have done some upgrades and the rooms were great. Quality breakfast too that was well laid out and had lots of space for people to access toast, cereal, waffles, hot food (bacon or sausages and eggs), and utensils. Kids enjoyed the indoor pool. Two restaurants on-site (but accessed from front of building - McKia's and Quiznos). Right next to Rattlesnake Canyon for family fun! Can't go wrong with this hotel!
Lovely place to stay and have done so several times. It is pet friendly which is accommodating our furry friends. We enjoyed dinner at McKia's Restaurant and the breakfast buffet in the hotel. It's walking distance to the beach and pub.
Renos are going on but did not affect our stay. Room was quiet and clean and beds were comfortable. The room was reasonably priced and provided breakfast that had everything you would want. There was a restaurant close by for supper, etc. We would certainly stay here again.
Not on the water but close to a very good restaurant Campo Marina. Hotel is under minor renovation but great rooms at a great price with wonderful staff and pleasant hot breakfast. We enjoyed sipping local wine on the outside balcony.
Clean, decent value for the money - under renovations. Staff varied between friendly and not. Housekeeping was good. The free breakfast is nice - someone needs to teach them how to scramble eggs tho -
Hotel decided to rip down wallpaper in the hallway from 7 to 9:40 on a Sunday night. Tools, wallpaper and nails were all over the place. I came out of the elevator and my room number plaque was removed so I couldn't find my room. There was also a cat's paw tool faced upwards in the middle of the dimly lit floor which someone could have stepped on. Spent the night listening to the ripping of paper off walls. Management apologized but couldn't seem to stop the construction. Other than that its a good hotel - clean rooms, good beds, breakfast is better than most others. Be warned that some rooms have balconies and some look over the restaurant alley in the back. I would also worry about their a/c especially if I was going there in the summer. Ours barely cooled the room down in the Spring.
Two night stay, our suite nice and clean, foam mattress bed a little warm for us but comfy, staff very obliging, easy parking, quiet even though on highway, standard hotel breakfast and breakfast room - just what we needed to get going. We'd stay here again - good value we thought and clientele all good natured made for a pleasant stay
Lily at the front desk was great and went over and above to make us happy. The housekeeping are horribly trained. They have never been trained about detail cleaning. I would put a Do Not Disturb sign on door handle unless you want to be awaken at 7:30 with a knock on the door,
We had a lovely stay and Derek at the front desk was very accomodating. I really enjoyed our stay here. I would highly recommend this hotel. Good recommendations for restaurants and what to see in the area.
Large well equipped suites. Complimentary breakfast, and room cleaning. Free parking, exercise room and attached restaurant , which serves good food at a reasonable price. The staff are excellent, meeting all your needs.
Granted we're staying in the off season, but even with many things not open yet at this time of year (The nearby theme park for example) we found the hot tub super relaxing and the pool (while on the cold side) you do climatize to it and the kids found it plenty fun for our needs. The breakfast isn't amazing... the eggs are powdery but the selection is pretty amazing for the price (free). We've had bacon and sausage plus the eggs each day so far, and the kids eat cereal or waffles or yogurt.. or muffins... there's a lot to choose from. Rooms are clean and not smelly, beds are comfy and the front desk staff are very friendly to the kids and helpful. The showers never run out of hot water and come with soap that doesn't leave you dry and itchy... you really can't complain about this place.
Great hotel. We went in the off season. Some minor renos going on, but no big deal. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. We had one issue come up and hotel staff dealt with it seriously and promptly. Grateful for that. The included breakfast is quite good. Bacon and eggs or sausage and eggs along with everything else you would expect. Kids loved the waffles. This place is right next door to a fun park that looks really cool. Only open in the spring and summer. Will have to come back.
Accommodating front desk staff, large rooms, very comfy beds, on the main thoroughfare, reasonable fees, great breakfast included, busy place so reservations are a good idea. Great restaurant options either within walking distance or a short drive away
Enjoyed my stays overnight in Osoyoos on my way home at the Best Western. Spacious clean room, quick breakfast, and friendly staff. The location is great and if you were wanting to go to the beach you're right there. We usually stay here as a pit stop on the way home to the coast and it's everything you could want
We have stopped at this motel many times on route to Vancouver and have found it to be good value and convenient with a restaurant on site (which is independent of the motel). It seems that the level of service and quality of the food has decreased compared to previous years. The motel is being refurbished and was not complete in December 2017 but should be a nice update when completed.
Staff in this resort are so friendly and accommodating!! The beds are incredibly comfortable and the breakfast is hot with scrambled eggs, sausages or bacon and two different flavors of waffles, as well as all the other breakfast trimmings. The full sized muffins were delicious!! We would definitely stay here again and would strongly recommend this Best Western to others.
We enjoyed our overnight stay at the Best Western Plus Sunrise Inn. Reception desk staff was friendly. We had a comfortable room on the third floor which was larger than many places you find today. Beds were great and made for a good night sleep. Breakfast was excellent for a hotel breakfast. Good selection of breakfast items and enjoyed the berries to go with the waffles. They are doing maintenance on the property but we weren't bothered by it.
Exceptional front desk staff. Awful maintenance staff - rude with zero people skills. The breakfast was great with many options and the hours it was open made it very accessible, considering our schedule. The kids really enjoyed the pool until the lights went out and they were unable to turn them back on, an hour before closing.
Booked 3 night stay as our our boys were competing in U21 open qualifying for Provincials. Also a Peewee hockey tournament in town. King suite was jacuzzi tub was spacious. Everything was orderly, clean, and in good shape. Quiet rooms. Hot buffet breakfast was great value for the room price. Will stay here whenever an overnight stay in Osoyoos is required. Recommend for families.
Great place to stay, friendly and helpful staff. Clean and well maintained rooms. Beds were awesome ! One of my best sleeps in awhile. In the summer time this would be a great place for a family to stay at; there is a small amusement park next door.
Bent over backwards to make our stay great! Price was right, beds as usual were good, rom was clean! Could not ask for anything more. Guess that is why I am a Gold Card member. You know what to expect. Front end staff and room maid were par excellent.
Large, clean, comfortable and quiet rooms. An excellent restaurant that had beautiful presentation of entrees, besides tasting very good! Nice clean pool area with interesting murals. Hearty breakfast, including eggs, sausage and waffles.
My family was in transition moving to Osoyoos, from the lower mainland in a snow storm. Being a stressful time, this BS hotel took the time to make it stress free. We didn't even want to leave to our new home it was so comfortable.
Stayed here 2 nights really good place & the food was really good too friendly staff too it was very busy too did not know how close it was too the Washington boarder it is a good place to stay when you come here. There is a swimming pool, hot tub & exercise room too.
This hotel and their staff are exceptional. Very accommodating and pleasant to deal with. The hotel accepts dogs and there is a lot of green space to walk them and run with. The continental breakfast is very good
We stayed for 2 nights during a Ringette Tournament in Osoyoos/Oliver. The hotel was perfect for our needs ! Great price, great rooms, great staff, hot/cold breakfast & the kids loved the pool. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
Very pleasant stay, the room was nice and clean and the restaurant is very handy for our evening meal. Breakfast was fine as well and check out was easy so no problems. We would stay there again and recommend it to others.
My husband and I were only spending one night in Osoyoos and found a room at the Best Western. Although the room was decent - comfortable bed, clean bathroom, quiet - I found the customer service at the front desk was lacking. Upon checking in I inquired about using the exercise room. I was told that I had to come to the front desk to get a key to access it. When I followed up later that night, there was another person at the desk who told me I could just use my room key to access it. Later that evening, we discovered that we had run out of floss. Since there was a sign in the bathroom that said Best Western could provide toiletries "complimentary", I inquired at the front desk. I was told that I'd be charged over $3 for floss - that they didn't give ANY toiletries free of charge. It puzzles me what they mean by "complimentary". There aren't a lot of options in Osoyoos but I doubt we'd stay at the Best Western Plus Sunrise in the future.
Normally we stay at a bed and breakfast but this time we decided to stay at a hotel in Osoyoos. We were not disappointed by our decision! The hotel has a pool and hot tub and many different types of rooms and suites. There is a complimentary breakfast with eggs, bacon/sausage, oatmeal, yogurt, apples, fruit juices, bread and pastries, coffee and make your own waffles. The only disappointing part of the stay for me was that the scrambled eggs had a very odd texture. I have dietary restrictions so the eggs were one of the few things I could eat but that was not a big deal because I had leftovers from the night before. Which brings me to the room review! Our room had a fridge and a microwave so it was perfect for heating up left overs! The bed was very nice and comfortable and there was a Jacuzzi in the room, too! The staff was really friendly here. Lily was working at the front when we arrived and she was very busy but handled everyone's requests in a very professional and timely manner. We were very impressed with her professionalism. The other staff members (front desk and housekeeping) were all extremely friendly as well. The Best Western was actually cheaper than the bed and breakfast we have stayed at previously in Osoyoos! We will definitely be returning here again!
This is a great place to stay in Osoyoos. Clean, affordable, friendly staff, nice breakfast, pool and hot tub and comfy beds! Millie, Derek and all the staff are friendly and professional. We will be staying here again!
I received excellent service starting at front desk when I checked in. Later when I went to settle account I had a bit of a confusing situation with a Best Western Voucher. I have to say, I was well looked after by the staff. I will certainly return to this location.
Room 120 - $191.46 for one night. Good value. Fridge (although very noisy), microwave, sink, TV, cups and glasses, 2 x tables, sofa, TV & WiFi However, breakfast was served on paper plates with plastic knives and forks! That is not on, sorry
Nice hotel with reasonable price, considering a full hot breakfast and very well maintained breakfast room. The beds and beddings were very comfortable. Friendly staffs. Will come back again. Highly recommended,
Taking an extended weekend we stayed in this Hotel. It was practically full but we ended up with a room with a king size bed. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was not too bad as well in the morning. A little bit crowded but this place suited our needs. Oddly enough there only appeared to be one entrance just the front. This could make it a little bit difficult if you have a lot of luggage.
Good for children as there is a nice activity set up across. Not too far from the lake. Good stay. I would stay again. I wish they had more real breakfast items even for the fee but it was OK for one night stay.
Very impressed, from the reception at registration, room cost and quality, personable and helpful staff, to the service and food quality in the Restaurant as well as at the Continental breakfast in the morning. Overall, very good experience.
We joined our friends on their return to the Cannon Beach/Seaside area to reminisce of 11 years of family vacations. It was wonderful to share in their stories of sand dunes, sand castles and food. We could certainly see why they would have visited the area
Worst Room Internet ever! Staying at BW in Nelson now - Great connection! Wifi at Osoyoos BW isTerrible - constant drops & signal varies from good to gone - Get this fixed guys otherwise I will never stay here again
It was our first-ever trip to Osoyoos and the Okanagan in general so we wanted a nice place for our 6-night stay there. Based upon TA reviews and price, we chose the BW Sunrise Inn. Overall it was a good experience. Check-in was easy and in no time we were up in our third floor room. We were thankful our decision to take a suite; for an extra $18/night we had a huge living space, kitchen facilities, a separate bedroom and a balcony on the lakeside of the building. The beds were quite comfortable for sleeping and we appreciated the ability to spread out. The large fridge and cooking facilities were also nice. A few things struck as odd so we phoned the front desk for help. There was no clock in the room (it had been stolen by previous guests) and there was a hole in one of our interior doors (the same guests apparently had one heck of a door-kicking and smashing party during their stay.) Another clock was immediately supplied and the hotel offered to replace the door next day. We appreciated the replacement gesture and found all staff pleasant to deal with. One of the few things we definitely didn't like in our suite was the level of housekeeping cleanliness. Several areas in our huge suite had not been dusted in ages (the balcony window area for example) and because of our allergies we had to stay away from those parts of the room. I sometimes felt like demanding a vacuum cleaner so that I could do the housekeeping myself but resisted the urge. The cleanliness was a blemish on what was otherwise a pretty decent deal and stay. The breakfasts were a cut above your average hotel-grade fare and the spacious breakfast room had a nice ambience to it. Some of the items, like breakfast meats and scrambled eggs, we made fresh each day in the kitchen as opposed to purchased frozen. Many of these items are ready before the official opening time of the breakfast room and those hitting the road early are welcome to come down and eat early. I didn't use the pool but it appeared clean and friendly. The grounds were professionally landscaped and nicely maintained, we really like the layout of the various perennials. With the exception of the dust issue, we were pretty satisfied with our stay. We give the property 4 stars out of 5 and would stay there again.
Having checked out a day early following issues with accommodation in Nakusp, we needed to find a hotel for one night before checking in to the hotel in Osoyoos for which we already had a reservation. We had stayed at the Best Western Peppertree Inn a few years ago and had been happy with our stay so decided to stay there again. We made a reservation by phone for a king suite with balcony, arrived around 4 hours later and were warmly welcomed at check in. The suite we were initially assigned had no balcony and only a view of a wall, but following a phone call down to the front desk we were assured that changing rooms was not a problem. We were immediately given a lovely corner king suite on the top floor with a decent size balcony. The front desk clerk was really pleasant and indicated that he was glad that we had spoken up. The suite was really spacious, very clean and had a fully equipped kitchen. The balcony was a lovely spot to sit with a glass of wine while the sun went down. There is a family style restaurant with a bar at the hotel and we decided on an early dinner. Although the restaurant did not officially open for another 15 minutes, we were welcomed in by the cook, Alma, who served us a couple of beers while we looked at the menu until our server arrived for her shift. The portions were generous and the food really good - my wife loved the chicken quesadilla. Alma is a real character - so friendly, funny and genuine, and we thoroughly enjoyed talking to her while we "chilled out". We were not disappointed that we had decided to spend the night at the Sunrise Inn.
Great place to stay. Friendly staff and went above to help us with some frozen food that they stored in the freezer for us. Breakfast was nice and rooms clean. Check in/out was fast and efficient. Good parking behind building.
Although the hotel room was nice, the staff on check-in were very unfriendly and uninterested, both ice makers were broken (and reception didn't care) and the Internet service was pathetic! Certainly not what you would expect from a well-known hotel chain.
We always travel with our 20 pound dog and finding good places to stay with him can be an adventure. We stayed in room 128 with our dog and it was great! We parked in the rear at the back of the building and there's a door there to get us in the building, rather than traveling through the lobby. There's a small patio outside the unit that has a railing so our dog couldn't get out but he could hang outside and people watch. And with the unit being the last one, the exit was right beside us,so easy for those pee breaks. There's lush grass all around the backside of the hotel, so those breaks were super fast. The unit itself had a kitchenette and this hotel serves hot breakfast too. Part of the floor is tiled, so it was easy cleanup of any dirty paw prints. There was also a hide-a-bed if the king size bed wasn't enough. Every staff member we spoke with was super friendly. We even ran out of dog bags and they gave us some with no issues and directed us where to go in town to buy more. This wasn't a fancy place but we'll take function over fashion every time. We will definitely stay there again.
The room was great. It was very clean, everything worked (TV, internet, coffee machine, fridge), and looked great. I loved the wine in the room that can be purchased, nice and convenient. The staff could have been more welcoming but they were OK.
The rooms are huge! We had 2 queen beds and a full kitchen. The room was more like a suite at a 2 queen bedroom rate! WIFI was strong. Lots of free parking. Very nice breakfast options. The waffle maker is always the most popular option. Would I stay again? Yes!
good room and staff but no access to beach and pool too small. Breakfasts were good. Would really like access to beach and larger pool. Really good that they have pet friendly rooms. Would stay again if I couldn't get a hotel with beach access.
Room lock was not working and had to leave the door unlocked when went for dinner and took valuable belongings with us and it was fixed next day. Sofa bed in suite was damaged and staff did nothing to get it fixed. Overall terrible experience at BW.
Our stay in Osoyoos was O.K. Hotel was comfortable, clean and personnel polite and helpful. Location on main street O.K. but a little Noisy as next to Go Kart site. When questions asked to counter ladies, they were very helpful. I would recommend for one night but if more, would take closer to the lake.
We enjoyed our stay at this property. There were lots of amenities nearby. The room was excellent, well appointed and dog friendly. The breakfast was very nice and the people were friendly. Osoyoos is a wonderful place to visit. We will be back to this town and this hotel.
We stopped in on a busy Thursday evening. The staff was most helpful. The room was quiet and clean. The staff recommended a dinner spot which was great. Breakfast in the morning was good too. If travelling, consider staying here.
My wife and I were on our way back to Edmonton from Vancouver however we decided on going through Osoyoos to get some fresh fruit, we decided on this Best Western to stay and we were glad we did, the place was great.
This was the worst hotel experience I have encountered. I was staying at the hotel on business purposes. I was advised prior to booking my stay that this hotel always provides business partners with good service and very nice rooms. I was greatly disappointed to say the least. Every time I had called in prior to my stay I was placed on hold while the front desk attended to guests at the counter. I was expecting to have the same kind of service when I was checking in. However, I had to wait 15 minutes at the front desk for the receptionist to get off of the phone. She was dealing with another guest that was trying to book a room and they wanted several details etc. The call was lengthy. The front desk clerk never looked up to acknowledge I was there or place the caller on hold while I quickly checked in. After waiting a very long time (considering there was no one else in line except me). I was provided with a room on the 1st level right near the pool/fitness room facing the parking lot; I had requested a quiet room since I was there on business so I could concentrate and sleep peacefully. This was not the case. I could hear children running up and down the hall at all hours not to mention the door to the pool slam shut repeatedly. I left on Tuesday morning to go to work in Oliver - I was gone before 6am and upon my return at 3pm my room had still not been cleaned. I had to go to the front desk and wait in line once again to request my room be cleaned and then plan to leave for 2 hrs to allow time. To make up for the mishap of housekeeping forgetting my room they provided me with some extra conditioner and shampoo... I don't see how that was the solution to make up for the inconvenience but the thought was appreciated. Upon returning my room had been cleaned and I was satisfied. I decided to order some food to go from the adjoining restaurant. I walked in and was ignored by all of the staff. I eventually flagged a waitress down and requested a menu. She confirmed I was able to order my dinner to go so I could eat in my hotel room. I was advised the wait time would be approximately 30 mins and that they would call my room # once pick up was ready. I wait 40 mins and without a call decided to head back to the restaurant to get my dinner. I was ignored once again. I stood in the middle of the restaurant for another 10 mins before the waitress that took my order finally acknowledged my existence and without saying a word handed me the debit machine. I paid for my salad and noticed that the bill indicated to "make in 30 mins". I was expecting my salad to be ready at that point since I had now waited 50 mins and had paid. The wait staff buzzed around me but as if I wasn't standing right there. It wasn't until someone else had come up to pay that they asked me to stand to the side so the other customer could pay for their dinner. I was very upset at this time as I was hungry and had waited a very long time as it was for a salad. I do not believe the waitress even put my order in until I had come in to pay for it - when I eventually inquired on the status I was told it would be "another 5 mins" I then asked the waitress again if it was actually going to be 5 mins or if it was actually going to be 10 mins. She then became snippy and told me they would call me when the order was ready. I was VERY upset and went back to my room. I was not provided with a phone call for another 10 mins after returning. I was tired, I was hungry. All I wanted was to get my dinner and eat it in peace in my room and go to bed. I was not expecting to have to wait for over an hour for a salad. When I picked up my dinner from the restaurant there was no apology made for the wait. They handed it to me and then walked away abruptly. The level of customer service was awful. Least to say I was very happy to be checking out the next day. When I gathered my belongings and was ready to leave I was shocked that there was no one at the front desk to provided assistance in checking out. I went to the meeting room where breakfast was held and asked the lady working in there if someone could help me as I needed to leave for work. She advised the front desk would be back at 6am (I started work at 6am in Oliver so this was concerning). I waited patiently and after no one came to the front desk I returned to the breakfast meeting room. The lady that advised someone would be available at 6am then came to the front desk and checked me out. I do not understand why I was told I had to wait until 6am to check out when the same person that advised me of this checked me out at 6:10am. I was very VERY disappointed. Co-workers I told my experience to were shocked advising they always receive the best service - quietest room etc. I will NOT be staying here ever again.
Very good value, facility is in good condition and kept up well. Close to amenities, but away from downtown noise. All in-suite and on-site features were as advertised and in good order. Have used in the past with both golf group and couples situations and recommend for either. No secure parking on site, but close to rooms for unloading vehicle.
Great place to stay. Very clean, great staff, great location. Great restaurant within walking distance and a great family fun place next door. I would stay here again, family vacation, lots of family fun times shared together!
Not up to usual Best Western standards. Barely could stand to stay the night. Our 3 night stay at the Best Western Plus Sunrise Inn lasted only 1 night. The staff were friendly, but unfortunately that was the only thing that was good. Room – The room needs a serious overhaul. The pink tiles at the entry way are in rough shape and lead into reddish orange carpet that needs to be replaced. The swing bar on the door security latch was broken leaving us feeling less secure. There were stains on the furniture. The bed was comfortable although as a couple we would have preferred 1 king bed rather than 2 queen beds. The window looked out onto the parking lot and highway out front. Breakfast – There was coffee and other breakfast items, but many were not fresh. The bananas should not have been served, they were black and should have been thrown out. It was an insult to serve rotten bananas to paying customers and they should either go to the store and get more or just not serve them. We were unable to feel comfortable in this hotel and seriously suggest a shutdown and full renovation. At $220 a night we expected a clean comfortable room, not this level of major wear, stains and lack of attention to detail. We checked out after 1 night and into a beautiful villa on an orchard that was actually cheaper per night but exceeded the BW in so many ways. We do not recommend this hotel and hope management will consider making the needed changes to this property.
This Best Western was in a good location for Osoyoos. At this time of year it is very busy there and the hotel was centrally located, easy to get to golf courses, winery etc. Rooms large and clean, staff friendly and breakfast had bacon and eggs.
We supposed to stay for 2 nights but our car broke down and missed a night but the staff were very understanding and gave us $100 adjustment. They are super friendly. The family suite was comfortable and clean. Overvall, best location of Best Western Inn.
We were visiting wineries, got lots info from the staff, enjoyed the hot breakfast, good value for the price. Just wasn't impressed with the food where we had at the restaurant attached to the hotel. Otherwise, will come back next time!
This Best Western is excellent with great amenities. It is well kept and friendly efficient staff. The check in and check out was quick and efficient. The hotel was in a great location and easy to find when coming into town. We would stay there again for sure!
This hotel has very good value for the price. The staff were very helpful at check in, the rooms are nice and include a balcony, I had the best sleep I had throughout my entire holiday and the breakfast was full, fresh and very good. Highly recommended!
I enjoyed stay in the Best Western Plus Sunrise Inn each time when I went to Osoyoos. The staff is really friendly, and helpful. Room is comfortable, clean, and nice. Breakfast is awesome, love the different choices that we can choose.... love the pool, and the hot tub.
excellent location near the lake in Osoyoos. Breakfast was absolutely fabulous - great choices for breakfast. Would like to see more gluten friendly items. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Lots of wineries to visit in the area.
Good location and friendly service! Close too all amenities and has kids play park beside hotel . Would stay here again but would like too see higher quality breakfast and a happy hour for adults in the afternoon.
We stayed in the Family Suite. 1 bedroom with 2 queen beds and a pullout couch in the main room. It had quite a bit of space, nice big closets to store our stuff out of the way. The kitchen was great. Couch wasn't comfy to sit on and they didn't have some kitchen basics in the room, (i.e. spatula, anything to cook on in the oven), but the size of the room and the price made up for it.
We are fans of Best Western hotels, partly because of their great BW Rewards program, and partly because one can always expect a certain standard to be met. This hotel was no exception. The location was fine, the room was great, and the staff were all professional, courteous and friendly. Great combination. Thanks.
We had a very pleasant stay the past week. The hotel was clean, very pleasant staff who cared about you stay. Great place for kids as you are close to the beaches and entertainment. Would return again.
We stayed here for 1 night and had 2 rooms for our family of 4 (including 1 small dog). The hotel is in need of some renovations or even some paint. The rooms are ok. While our room was basically clean (with the exception of some debris in the corners of the room, behind the door and some hairs on the corner by the tub) the other room wasn't. Dirty and sticky table, hairs on the floor. They did offer a discount upon check out which was nice. The beds are way to soft and have a dip in them where obviously people sleep so maybe it's time for an upgrade. Breakfast in the morning was good. They did offer both bacon and sasauge along with scrambled eggs and of course waffles. The staff were not overly friendly but not rude. Just not what you expect from a hospitality based business (gentleman at check out was the exception).
We stayed for two nights in July at the Best Western. Although the hotel is not in the main street area of Osoyoos it is still very convenient to the downtown area. We found the check in very quick, the room very clean and the amenities to our expectations. We were given a room on the backside of hotel away from the main highway and it was very quiet. We also enjoyed the breakfast that was included with the room rate.
Our family of four came for a week long hockey camp so we booked a one bedroom suite. The hotel staff are very friendly and accommodating our every need. The room has a full sized kitchen with all appliances, a living room with dining table seating 4. The interior layout is very livable with plenty of closets, drawers, a large vanity mirror & sink beside a full bathroom. The bedroom stays dark and quiet even when the living room lights and TV are on. Our kids enjoyed the indoor pool & hot tub. There is a Quizno's and family style restaurant [average quality] on site. Its a 5 minute walk to the DQ [Dairy Queen]. The kids loved being beside Rattlesnake Canyon amusement park. There is so much to do in Osoyoos and this hotel is in the heart of it all.
The hotel was clean, and the staff was friendly (Lily especially was a joy to chat with in the evenings at the front desk!) They were very accommodating and worked hard to meet our needs. I loved that breakfast was included, but even better than that was that the Meeting Room where breakfast was held was open all day -- meaning we had access to the microwave and toaster, since on our road trip, my Mom and I decided to put more money into accommodations and less into eating out and eat cheaply out of our bar fridges, haha. We also used the Meeting Room one evening to play games. I also loved that we had a first floor room with patio access -- we were able to park our vehicle right by our room and it was easy to load in the morning when we left because we just handed everything over the patio railing to each other. Sweet! I loved the proximity to Rattlesnake Canyon, the little amusement park next door. One night, we went mini golfing, and the other two we just got ice cream... because Ice Cream. There is an indoor pool and a hot tub. I think it would have been nicer if the pool had been outdoor because it was so hot in the pool area that the water wasn't even really refreshing, but it was nice to use the hot tub in the evenings. It was easy to get to the lake as well, so who really needs a pool ....
Thought we were getting a great hotel with an outdoor pool. Turns out it was an indoor pool. Obviously this was my mistake...but an indoor pool in Osoyoos. ..we were so disappointed. Needless to say our visit sucked from that perspective. The room was okay but the beds were horrible. I tossed and turned all night...not very comfortable. There's no view of the lake...it's not on the water and there was no balcony. Looking out your window you get parking lot or highway. . As per usual...Best Western does a good job with cleanliness and the comp breakfast is better than most ( love this cinammon waffles).
Hotel was very clean, friendly service at the desk, beds were excellent, restaurant was ok. Balcony looked over the lake which was nice. A little outside of town but still walkable and along the lake is always nice.
Close proximity to the Rattlesnake Canyon Park is great when traveling with kids, but on the other hand it's too far away from the beach to walk. Not really a problem, except for the limited parking at the child friendly area of the beach. During our stay, we were the only people using the pool and hot tub in the evenings which was quite nice with the children.
We found the hotel very expensive . I believe some updating should be done plug in sink would not close properly . Two less than half rolls of toilet paper left in the rollers with no full rolls left in the room just being cheap and the 2nd day the room was not made up until after 2;30 pm . On check out their was no one at the desk this was 9:30 am in the morning when the clerk did come in she had been out side smoking poor service.
Very nice and clean hotel. It was kind of expensive for 2 nights but worth it. It had a full kitchen in it. Nice big room with a 2 double beds with balcony. We just totally loved it. Their customer service representatives were very kind and helpful. Our room attend Joanne was very nice and helpful making sure we have enough of everything since we had kids too. Amazing breakfast was served by a lovely lady in the morning. Great place to stay.
I stay here every time I am passing through. It is a very nice facility with good amenities. It is quiet, even with an amusement mini gold course next door, and their are good restaurants close by. Staff is friend, helpful, and professional.
I stayed in a quiet, spacious suite with my family, on the second floor, away from the elevator. The friendly staff is courteous and helpful. The continental breakfast was a great way to start the day. The selection included hot and cold items. This property is located next to an amusement park, and is fairly close to shops and beach.
The rooms were clean and quiet. Our check in and out was efficient and done quickly. The hotel was a busy place as there was a demand for their rooms. Next door was a amusement park for kids It seems to be a great place where kids were having a great time. The restaurant next door served a variety food with a Carribean flavor .
We stayed at the Best Western Plus on our way home from Seattle to Lethbridge. Our room was roomy and comfortable, clean and well equipped. Wifi was good and generally quiet outside. Breakfast was a bit challenging as the food seemed to come one item after another rather than being available at the same time. Plastic knives and forks were not great. Had a good sleep before heading out for a long drive.
We had to wait forever to check-in. Staff was all out rude - untrained in hospitality. TV didn't work, had to pack up everything and switch rooms (no remuneration for the hassle, but WAY better room).
Our family stayed one night here as a halfway point on our trip and had a one bedroom suite. There was lots of room and the rooms were quiet and comfortable. The breakfast had lots of choices and was well presented. Overall it was a very good choice for a hotel in this area.
We booked this room for one of the stops on our honeymoon. Right at the edge of town as you come in from the south. Grounds are clean and well maintained. Room was very spacious and clean. Bed was SUPER comfy! Very much appreciated that the staff prefers motorcycles to be parked right under the canopy in the main entrance. They indicated it was so that they have clear line of sight over night but I suspect also because they don't want bikes firing up all over the property in the morning. Regardless, it was nice to be given priority parking! Breakfast the next morning was scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, fruit, toasts, cereal, hard boiled eggs, yogurt etc. Anyone could likely find at least something to eat. Coffee was excellent. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend, especially to our biker friends.
The group of 12 has been staying here for over 15 years They go out of their way to help you setup a great golf experience in the Oliver / Osoyoos area Rooms a very large with great parking Breakfast served daily is a nice BW offering to get your day started Osoyoos is always a great stay for anyone who live the sunshine
Clean and comfortable. Good location. Quiet area. Good sleep. Safe parking at rear. Did not use the on site restaurant as there are many other good choices in town and at various wineries in the area.
Our check in was light hearted and quick! The room was clean and large, very unexpected for the price. Wedged between two lakes it was a very short walk to a beach and plenty of good eats were with in walking as well.
This hotel is not on the beach but very close to it. It is clean, real comfy beds and a terrific free breakfast., The staff friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a larger unit due to being Best Western members. We are always treated special with that membership,
We arrived early and were instantly placed in room and informed of all amenities. We were very impressed with ALL staff and must mention how very clean and modern were swimming pool and both indoor and outdoor hot tub ! Also we would like to mention the very picturesque riverside patio / view area and it's cleanliness as well .
Second time here at the Sunrise Inn and will be back next year. From pool & fitness center to the clean rooms and breakfast, this place lives up to the Best Western reputation. Staff were friendly and accommodating. When our show car needed out of the rain ,they offered the front entrance way without hesitation.
As many have mentioned, the front desk staff seemed very friendly here. They even asked us to part our bikes under the main entrance! We had been riding for 10 hrs that day, so we had our eyes on sitting in the hot tub for a while, but the beds ended up being so comfortable that we never made it back down to the pool! The hotel is a short distance out of the main area/intersection in town...but close to the water across the road and about a 1 minute drive away from 'downtown' (though there are many hotels in this 'strip'), or a 10 minute walk. There is a western-themed adventure playground next door, which didn't seem noisy or busy when we visited. Breakfast is included and has everything from waffles, eggs and bacon to all your fruit, cereal and standard continental breakfast fare. Much appreciated! There is a Quizno's attached to the hotel, but the main restaurant is called McKia's, and it was SO good it was ridiculous. Best Clubhouse sandwich I've ever had, and the same sentiment was expressed across the table for the Jambalaya they devoured, too! The staff there were funny, and witty, and I whole- heartedly recommend that restaurant!
My Harley-Davidson friends and I were out on a very enjoyable ride to Osoyoos, taking in the great scenery of the Okanagon but the star of the day was the Best Western Plus. The Plus must refer to the service because it was awesome. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and after dinner we went back to the hotel for drinks in their restaurant. The staff was very busy with a large party but went out of their way to accommodate us. Also the rooms were very relaxing to stay in and although I wasn't there to watch tv, I couldn't believe the channel selection they have. After a good nights sleep we were ready to roll on down the road.
The location was good, near some good restaurant selections for dinner and an easy walk into downtown. Staff on check in and check out were extremely courteous, friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and clean, however the room was very dark and had an unpleasant smell. The breakfast room was dark and did not have a pleasant feel about it and the breakfast rubbish bins were overflowing. These things made it not up to the usual Best Western expectations especially as it was a Plus.
The locations has ample parking, there is an amusement place next door which is not overly noisey, the restaurant has various hours, quiznos is not very good. You can walk to a local pub to get food and drink. but it is a longer walk to town.
Hotel was easily accessible from the highway, very clean both outside and in. Reception was excellent, especially with the fact there were 6 motorcycles. Rooms were all very clean, and much to our surprise there was an abundance of TV Channels to watch (more than I've seen in other Hotels).
Enjoyed our stay and the golf. The weather was great, rooms were good company was great beverages were also good as was the card games. We will likely be back next year for another round or two of golf and More fun at the hotel.
For many years now my wife & I have stayed at this hotel and have always found it to our liking. The hotel is always clean and very well maintained, the staff has always been friendly and polite. This is our hotel of choice when staying in Osoyoos.
Staff is always friendly. the rooms clean and suites are clean, the beds are comfortable and they serve a nice breakfast offering a broad selection of food. Too bad the restaurant was not open for dinner when we arrived. It serves great food other times we've stayed before. Having a Best Western Membership that offers special savings and appreciated upgrades.
checked in late, with no reservation and staff was helpful, friendly and stay was great. Breakfast was included and of good quality and quantity, of mixed breads, fruits and selection of cereals. will stay here again
Courteous service, and excellent room for bringing along a small dog. We had a gated patio, with a door open to our room, so it was nice that our pet could join us outside without leaving the hotel. Lots of grass area also to walk the pets. King size room was more than adequate with microwave, 2 burner atove, fridge and all the dishes if needed. Internet was fast and didnt cut out. Thw hotel is located further down Main street, so a bit of a walk to the lake side, but we found it overall to be the best spot for us. Would definately stay here again
The staff was very personable. The room was nice and clean and sound proof!!! Provide great recommendations for dinner. The breakfast was good as well. We would recommend this as a place to stay and will definitely go back again
Stayed with a large group of people on a tour of the Okanagan and the staff was amazing. The rooms very comfortable, it's in a great location. The breakfast is your standard BW breakfast although I did enjoy the new pancake machine. Lots of choices.
Everything in this hotel seems to be geared to making life easy and convenient for guests. We found everything we needed and then some nice unexpected extra touches. The front desk staff was AMAZING. They helped us through a booking issue unrelated to Best Western and saved our weekend. Throughout the weekend, they remained so thoughtful. This was above and beyond the call of duty and it was very appreciated.
accessable washroom with safe grab bars at a reasonable preferred customer summer rate. Staff very helpful getting a step stool so I could launch myself onto the stupidly high beds that are in fashion in most hotels and motels now and are dangerous and painful for short people with back injuries More hotels should provide standard height beds that one does not need to be at least 5'7'' tall to safely get in and out. I had to use my cane handle to pull myself across the bed once launched by a belly flop from a still too short step stool. I should Not have to carry a s step ladder from my kitchen just to safely access a bed!
Nice, quiet hotel and very helpful check in out person. Hot breakfast was pretty good. Would go back to this hotel again in future. Good location of hotel if you are travelling on through using Hwy 3. Front desk clerk very helpful with information of restaurants and local attractions
The whole area of the Okanagan Valley is a gift of heaven and the stay in Osoyoos is a big part of this pleasant part of our trip, with people an quality of service outstanding. Sorry the cherries were not ripe yet.
We stayed at Osoyoos Best Western coming and going with a group of friends. Rooms are clean and quiet, breakfast fresh and well presented. Staff are courteous and helpful. Good parking for our classic cars Be sure to check rates for groups or even travelling on your own.
We booked 4 nights in a suite. The experience was great. Staff and amenities were top rate. The town of Osoyoos is beautiful. We booked an extra night. Would return. Overall the accommodations were excellent- the staff great, the restaurant Sunday buffet was super.
Really enjoyed the stay at this best western, staff was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was very good. Beds and pillows were comfy. 10 minute walk to downtown core. We were on a golfing package with a group of friends and we were all very happy with our trip.
Nice, clean hotel. Friendly staff. Other BW's we have been to had cookies after 6 PM, but this one did not. (maybe that is an American thing?) We wished the hot tub was about 2 degrees warmer, but still had a nice time. Breakfast was good. Hot and cold food. My husband was very happy with the up to date TV. The WiFi was also good. The fridge in the room worked well, but, was noisy at times. All in all a good stay, just to get away.
The weather was not perfect in March but the hotel was great while we were there. Friendly check in staff and breakfast staff. The breakfast area was very clean and the food hot and fresh. The food line was always filled with fresh baking, hot eggs, bacon or sausages.
The Hotel it self was great and the breakfast was more than we needed, it was excellent, everything looked good until we came to our room first glance yes until the lights went on you could see how dirty the carpet was and the room must have been dusty somewhere because I am allergic to dust my nose starts to plug up well this is something I would not normally complain about but seeing things that were dirty and of all places the bathroom which is where you go to keep clean I figure I might as well mention the carpet. I don't normally like to start cleaning things before using them but I have no idea what was on the taps and drain and all chrome but they were not shiny it was almost like they put something on them to clean them but forgot and as far as the carpet was concerned when your feet turn very dark under them your carpets are dirty .....Oh by the way other peoples hair was in the tub and also sticking out of drain it's to bad because everything else about the hotel was great and you put on an excellent breakfast.....
While visiting my son, I stayed at this hotel. The Professionalism of the staff and the comfort of the hotel were very welcome. I was travelling my own, and being an early riser, I was able to have my breakfast, and then spend some quiet time enjoying my coffee in the lobby before starting my day.
Had a great week, four different courses, great golf. It was always nice to return to hotel for a rest, meet with the group, and catch up on the email front, etc. This hotel offers some really great stay and golf packages that we will be looking at in the future.
Would highly recommend! Very spacious clean rooms. Love the sink & mirror outside the bathroom for applying makeup and keeping the bathroom free. Excellent choices for Free Breakfast and cordial staff!
Good location-walking distance from lake. Fitness centre ok pool and hot tub good. Could do with a decorative update. But clean and well maintained. Pet friendly a bonus! BW breakfast included in cost is better than most. Actual hot eggs, bacon and sausages.
Stayed at this hotel for one night the stay was great! The staff are fantastic from the check in to check out and everyone in between. Rooms were clean roomy and comfortable. Breakfast had many options to please everyone.
The hotel check in was a great experience with a very polite, courteous and thoughtful person. The room was extremely comfortable and the breakfast was very good. The price was excellent for a king room and we will definitely be recommending this hotel to our friends and family. The hot tub was really soothing after a long days travel.
Would strongly recommend this Hotel. Would strongly recommend this Hotel. Location is convenient with sufficient Parking Excellent guest services. Clean room, WiFi great. All Staff were very friendly and accommodating. An excellent Breakfast with a good selection.
Osoyoos Best Western by the Lake is easy access on the main highway, and a convenient Business or Family Stay Accommodation central to Beach and Shopping with a Restaurant and a Quiznos adjacent. Rooms are spacious with Fridge and updated with nice linen and beds. Facility is quiet & clean. Staff is friendly and informative about the town and surrounding Wine Country region. Theme Park/Mini Golf right next door and Water Slides close by to keep kids busy. A Pleasant Place.
Very enjoyable accommodations. Not terribly fancy but very functional. Nice to have the restaurant attached to the hotel. The walk into town, is a little long and they do not have any waterfront properties.
Excellent staff, very helpful and most accommodating! great hot breakfast! Hotel in a good location- close to lake walks and downtown shopping! The guest rooms tends to be a bit dark and somewhat dreary So Some of the mattresses may be getting tired and need replacing. pool and hot tub do require better maintenance
We have stayed at the Best Western Plus Sunrise Inn a couple times in the last month. The people are accommodating and nice to deal with. They have a great, full breakfast so you definitely don't need to leave hungry. They are also easy to find and drive to. They are also pet friendly if you want to bring your furry friend with you. We would definitely stay here again!
Met all expectations. Clean, well appointed room, lots of hot water, very good bed, friendly, efficient staff. Location is good, near the lake, and near city centre. Staff is knowledgeable and willing to share information about the community.
reasonably quiet, clean, comfortable rooms. Fridge & micro-wave provided. Dog friendly with lots of places to walk them. Guest laundry available. Restaurant attached with great selection. Hot tub & pool were not working when we were there.
We were here for a combined business/pleasure trip. The hotel was clean and well located; the rooms spacious and with comfortable beds. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially when it came to restaurant and winery recommendations. We definitely will be coming back. Fall is the perfect time to visit Osoyoos - less busy which means that the wineries have more time to answer questions, and the fall colours are spectacular.
Good if passing through and you want a fairly basic but clean hotel. Its at the end of the strip so there are no views of the lake, it is next to a small theme park and a couple fast food restaurants. In the off season rates could be a bit more reasonable but then again Best Western has their following. If you don't want a pet room I would recommend the 3rd floor and there is an elevator.
While this facility may technically qualify as a plus and charges accordingly it operates on the cheap and somewhat discredits the BW brand. Arriving at 3 p m with a reservation and platinum reward status which was not acknowledged we were given a room with a view of an air conditioning system (avoid rm. 203 if possible-see photo). The hotel was not that busy so this presents as either poor training or management or both. This was the Thanksgiving holiday weekend in Canada and it seemed like insult to injury that neither the pool or hot-tub was heated. There were two bottles of wine in our room with two nice wine glasses. This is a wine-tour area and we thought it was possibly a promotional thing. There was not the usual sign about a fee to be paid and no mini-bar. It seemed out of place with the overall "ambience" and a check with the front desk confirmed the wine was not complimentary. I sometimes travel with youth sport teams and these were screw cap bottles which does not seem like a great idea. The hotel was better when we were here the previous year. There is a nice looking Holiday Inn nearby.
Really enjoyed this hotel - was given a very spacious 1-bedroom, pet-friendly suite located on main floor with a very quiet back-yard view. Hotel staff were very helpful and most accommodating to any requests. Restaurant service was a bit slow, but worth the wait as food was very good.
Set much further out of town than we would have liked and therefore not walkable to get back to town or the nearest pub/restaurant. Almost identical to our last Best Western in Sicamous (much nicer) which was a large room with two queen beds, desk and large LG TV. The breakfast was again almost identical with scrambled eggs and sausage. The breakfast room just wasn't big enough and most of the tables were taken up by large families so had to wait for a table (not good). Other hotels have provided overflow eating areas in case of a mad rush. On the positive side our room was spacious and very clean and identical to the previous Best Western room. We found a great pub/restaurant walking distance away called the Sage Pub which I can recommend for a good meal and a few beers.
Room was good. Hotel was maintained inside and out. Staff helpful and we didn't have to walk far for a restaurant to eat dinner. Breakfast was adequate to get you on your way. I recommend this BW and if passing that way again we'd stay here.
We stayed one night and were very happy with the BW Sunrise Inn. Pleasant staff; clean, large and comfortable room; good complimentary breakfast. Our room was nicely furnished and appeared to be recently updated. Recommended!
arrived at 4 pm and along with 4 other unrelated parties waited 10-20 minutes after checkin for our rooms to be made ready by housekeeping. I guess the other 60 empty rooms were unavailable ? went to try the hot tub and pool but the hot tub temp was a cool 70 degrees F - not 100 F and the pool a cool 55 F- front desk advised it should have been fixed last week . doesnt anyone on staff check the temp daily ? room walls have gashed wall paper - not repatched or repaired and decor is very dated for a min range BW Plus hotel ,
Spent two nights and was very happy with the cleanliness of the room and hotel. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and make sure you have everything you need. The breakfast in the morning was good with a selection of different breakfast items.
Room was clean , beds comfy but when it came time to enjoy the hot breakfast included in our tariff we were stunned ...... plastic cutlery and cardboard plates , bowls and cups. Yes they may be made from recycled materials , but I expect to use cutlery and china for my meals when I stay in a Best Western Plus. Quality of the food was very average help your self breakfast buffet. If we had been aware of this we would have stayed else where and enjoyed a breakfast at one of the local cafes in town. We will not be returning , and will be checking any other Best Western before booking.
Spent three nights in the hotel during a buddies golf trip to Osoyoos. The rooms were clean and comfortable as expected but the wifi was so slow all of the time it was unusable. Management cited heavy usage for the problem - not good enough. In addition the pool and hot tub were out of commission for the whole stay - not good enough. Not up to BW+ standards.
The hotel was great! The rooms were clean and it was nice that it is next to a small amusement park. The staff were very friendly. The only disappointment was the staff recommended McKia's, the restaurant attached to the hotel, and it was not good.
This location was beside a great little fun zone with go carts etc. The service in this hotel was high quality as most BW place I have stayed at. The late check in was great and anything requested was met with high service
most was very good just no one was looking after the free breakfast after 10 or cleaning the tables not every one looked after cleaning up the there own table and there was only one table cleaned then we got there
Room was quite large with a big jetted tub, I arrived late after midnight and night staff said he had a room but did not know rates, as I was tired I got room a dealt with it in morning, price ended up being reasonable. If there was a free breakfast no one told me so probably missed out. Overall bed was comfy but expect a bit more on the service side.
We really enjoyed the location of the hotel...walking distance to the beach! We stayed in a kitchen unit, and although nice, could definitely use some updating and perhaps a good steam cleaning of the sofa and chair. Enjoyed the free breakfast and the staff in the breakfast room were super friendly, fast and efficient....always making sure everything was topped of and fresh!
Stayed in a jacuzzi suite with my partner during a trip to Osoyoos to do some wine touring. We enjoyed seeing all the beautiful roses near the entrance to the hotel and arrived 20 mins before our check in, but were still permitted to check into the tidy room. We did notice a few things that other travellers may want to make note of. The king sized bed would not be long enough for a tall person. We are both average height so luckily our feet were not hanging off the end. Similarly the jacuzzi tub was smaller than we had expected so it was a snug fit. On that same note, the jacuzzi tub had dirt in it upon our arrival so we had to wash it out ourselves before feeling comfortable to get in. Both the jacuzzi tub and tub in the bathroom had issues with the drain. While showering, I noticed that water was pooling. As another reviewer mentioned, the hot tub and pool facility in the hotel looks like it needs cleaning. The hot tub was on the green side. Lastly, these rooms are not very soundproof. We were woken up in the middle of the night to moaning and could hear the guests in other rooms using their jacuzzi tubs. I'd recommend packing earplugs. Overall the rooms could use a little extra TLC. Maintenance could fix up the wallpaper that is peeling from the walls, the curtains that are broken / missing the pull stick. We did appreciate housekeeping tidying up our room after our first nights stay.
My family and I stayed at the Best Western Plus and were very happy with everything. A great breakfast was provided every morning with our stay and had a variety of items to choose from. Our room was very clean and spacious with a full kitchen, private bedroom with two beds, and a balcony. The staff was so friendly and always helpful. The hotel is located right next to Rattlesnake Canyon and a 5+ minute walk from the beach. Would stay here again.
We stayed 4 nights in a suite and it was very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and the bed was really comfortable. I informed staff they need a fly swatter in each room.Room coffee was the usual but the breakfast coffee they served was excellent as everything was about the breakfast. Fitness room was very tiny but we enjoyed the indoor pool.
All in all it was as to be expected for the price. Breakfast was not very good. Selection was less than the other Best Westerns we stayed at. The snack machine was broken and the ice dispenser was broken. However this was not a deal breaker.
It was clean, although the hotel itself could use a facelift. Huge room, close to mini golf. It was farther from the main part of town that I would like but overall a good place to stay if you're not planning to spend too much time at the hotel.
Was surprised this hotel is not on the beach. When I booked, I assumed it was because they showed a picture of the beach on their website. It is a 10-15 minute walk to the beach. Breakfast was good, but self-serve.
Lovely staff welcomed us upon check-in, & next morning, a different front-desk employee (Thanks Derek!) kindly & enthusiastically suggested places to visit. Our room was clean, with comfortable beds. The included breakfast was more than adequate, with fresh fruits, hot & cold drinks, pastries, muffins, toast, waffles, eggs, sausage, oatmeal, yogurt. cereals. Noting to complain about. Good location. Thank you
The rooms are spacious and quite clean, air conditioned, which is essential here in summer. The pool area seemed ok, although the hot tub water was an unnatural shade of chlorine green! Very nice check in, ample free parking, really good wifi.
We were greeted by a friendly staff (and trainee). The lobby was large and very clean. We had a large room with 2 Queen beds and found everything to be excellent. The inclusion of the breakfast (eggs, sausages, yogurt, waffles, pastries, etc.) is a major bonus on any trip. a little further away from downtown then we would have liked but, still, this was a very quiet location.
This hotel is conveniently located on the highway just over the bridge and within walking distance of Moon Curser Winery. The hotel is clean and the amenities are well appointed - pool and gym area were nice and clean with available towels. The breakfast was excellent with many options and pretty good tasting!
Our room was quiet, and clean and beds were very comfortable. The hotel staff was friendly on arrival and departure. Only complaint of our stay was breakfast to many people and not enough staff for flow of food or cleaning of eating area. We found it easier to head up the road to Tim Hortons.
This hotel was fairly convenient in location and amenities. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. The hotel was quiet and easy to get in and out of on the main road. The property is just down the road from Nk'MIP and Moon Curser vineyards, and right next to Rattlesnake Canyon Amusement Park.
My nephew and I stayed here for 4 nights in a Queen Suite which was very nice, we had a great view of the hills from our balcony. All staff were friendly and helpful with directions and tourist suggestions. They have a restaurant on site that has very good food. It's not on the lake but it's only about a 10 min walk and a short drive to main shops in town. It's at the end of town off HWY 3 heading east, very close to the awesome Nk' Mip Cultural Center and their wine cellar. I would highly recommend the Sunrise Inn and I would definitely stay here again next time I am in that beautiful area.
great rooms, great breakfast, awesome staff. we were upgraded to a suite and had a wonderful stay. we did mini golf next door as well and walked to the lake for a swim. room was nice, couch was stained and décor was a bit worn, but otherwise it was great value and we were glad to have choosen best western.
Indoor pool at the hotel, and mini-golf across the street are sure to please families. The bed, however, had obviously been, ahem, well used. It squeaked, squeaked, and did I mention it squeaked? The breakfast room in the morning was over full and a bit dark.
Not a fancy hotel but was very clean and well maintained, my room was spacious with a little patio off the back. The beds were comfortable, the shower pressure was great and there are enough plugins to keep everything charged. It's everything you need on a road trip. A breakfast is included, I only had a waffle though there were more choices availble. Would stay here again.
I would highly recommend this hotel as we truly enjoyed our three night stay I a lovely suite. Jermaine as well as the rest of the staff made our stay a very pleasant experience. Our suite was air conditioned, clean and quite. the restaurant staff did an excellent meal on two occasions even though one night they were short staffed. No ice machine on the third floor and the one on the second floor was out of order, but they still had one on the first floor. Twice they had trouble with the elevator but resetting the power switch took care of this problem, although they should get it checked by a professional elevator repairman. The Staff went out of there way to make everyone as comfortable as possible during our stay. Thank You Best Western. Arthur B. Grant
It's a Best Western. Nothing too fancy, but clean, comfortable rooms and good service. The air conditioning was a bit noisy (but much needed). Breakfast was included in price. Not a bad stay, Walking distance to most amenities- good restaurant across the street.
We stayed here because it was a dog friendly hotel for 2 nights! Even though it was just after the August long weekend we were able to get into our room early and had a dog friendly suite room. Very spacious.
Nice motel. I like the location as it is in the middle of lots to do and the scenic views of lake on both sides and the beautiful mountains!! Only had one night here but wish we had had time for more!! Easy walking to a number of eating places. I would definitely recommend to friends.
we stayed here with a group of about 27. we had big kids, small kids, babies, dogs and adults of course - it accommodated everyone! staff was excellent and went out of there way to answer any questions we had.
Very nice hotel, got a chance to stay in bed room suite with kitchen, living room, bedroom and balcony. Loved this room. Close to walk on the Osoyoos lake, restaurants in the neighborhood, a theme park next door for kids and adults.
I've stayed at a few different places in Osoyoos and this is one I always come back to for the value. Rooms are large and clean and breakfast is always good. Centrally located to everything you need as well.
We enjoyed our stay in Osoyoos. The room was a good size. Plenty of room to move around. A desk for laptop and power to charge laptop. Plenty of outlets to charge cells and ipads. Thre staff were very helpful and friendly. I would stay here again when visiting Okannogan area.
Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was included, the kids especially like this. There is a good variety of fruit and cereals. Indoor pool was good. Rattlesnake canyon is right next to the hotel, very convenient and fun.
Always love staying here as this hotel is quality, good service, lovely rooms, quiet, clean, etc. Breakfast is very good, lots of choices! I recommend this hotel to everyone and will add if you become a Best Western member the rates get even better! Very nice! Thank you!
This place is average but it looks like they treat people who booked with hotwire or booking.com in a very unwelcoming manner. We reserved a room for 2 adults and a kid and got a queen bed with a pullout couch on a first floor no balcony facing the back of the hotel. When asked to switch I was abruptly told by the lady at the front desk that she couldn't upgrade my reservation even with charge because it's made from hotwire so beware that this hotel is going to give you their worst room if you go through these sites. We usually stay at holiday Inn where they have great rooms with porches and kitchenettes and separate room for a kid, not to mention a private beach. And yes I always use hotwire. At 705cad for three nights this is a bad deal. Never again.
We stayed here two separate times in a week and each stay was very nice. The rooms were a very nice size for our family of 5. My teenage daughter slept on the pullout couch and other than the sketchy looking mattress which needed to be cleaned or thrown away, she said it was very comfortable. The kitchen was a very nice size. We didn't use it other than the fridge but it looked like it was well stocked. We loved having the balcony to hang our wet towels and bathing suits on. Even though it is literally right next door to Rattlesnake Canyon, a small amusement park, there was no noise at all. The breakfast was ok. Not great, but edible. There wasn't a lot of hot choices, just eggs and sausage one day and eggs and bacon the next. But its still a nice option to have. Overall, we loved out stay here and will definitely consider staying here again when we visit Osoyoos again.
The atmosphere at the hotel was friendly, caring, and the staff were very helpful and kind. It was like being at a long lost relative's house who was glad to see us. They mentioned they were planning on doing an upgrade, but we thought the upgrade was already done!! Great hotel, highly recommend it.
Stayed at this property for three night when completing a trans-Canada road trip. We were provided with a king room with kitchenette at the gov rate of $145/ night. The room was very large, well appointed and clean. The front desk staff were friendly and were able to provide directions to the beach and suggest venues for wine tastings. The continental breakfast buffet was good and offered plenty of choices. The hotel is only a five minute walk from the beach and is in close proximity to restaurants and walking trails. The pool and hot tub were nice, although the hot tub needed cleaning. I would recommend this property to others as we enjoyed our stay.
This hotel is conveniently located beside a small amusement park. Front desk standards are much higher than housekeeping and maintenance. While we enjoyed the space of the larger 2-queen suite, there were lots of cleanliness issues. There were bits on the carpet throughout. The bathroom had hair in the tub, a broken AC plate, unfinished wallpaper. The entry way has tiles that dip in at a certain spot. The bedroom door and frame appears heavily worn and needs a coat of paint. The kitchen had bugs and food spatter on the hood fan, and a heavy coat of dust on top of the fridge - I'm guessing this room isn't booked often. The sofa bed had crumbs in it and mattress is a thin foam substitute for the original - which was smaller than the sofa bed and has a totally different pattern on the fabric cover. There appears to be stucco-covered holes where things used to hang. Again, I am guessing this room isn't rented out much and hope it does not reflect what smaller rooms are like.
Hotel is in a great location in the heart of Osoyoos with restaurants, fruit stands and access to both lakes nearby. Clean room and good fitness facility with clean pool and hot tub. Good breakfast to start your day.
A roomy suite with two double beds and a hide-a-bed and kitchenette, a good size for five adults. The only complaint our out-of-town company had was the hide-a-bed was not very comfortable, and we had to ask the staff to actually bring linens to make up the hide-a-bed. But overall it was a nice, cool, clean suite, quiet, and professional service from the staff. The indoor pool was on the small side but refreshing, and the hot tub was very relaxing, with change rooms next to the pool. The free continental breakfast was good, with a wide variety of hot and cold breakfast foods including bacon and eggies, cereals, coffee, juices! But I totally avoided the crazy-dangerous-waffle-making-contraption, as many elderly people were trying to use it and it sure looked complicated! Overall a great experience, with a great price, and I would stay here again!
Great location, room was great ... we did over work the air conditioner and it rested for a bit and came back to life. The included breakfast was fantastic ..... great selection great flavor we were close to everything ... there was a water park next door for kids, there was a restaurant on site but it was closed at the time, it was quiet, the room had a kitchen that was great
Was in the city for an evening on a stop through. Hotel was clean and the suite was spacious. Hotel was conveniently located right beside the theme park which made it good for kids. Centrally located in town and good parking. Would stay here again
Lovely, spacious suite. Very comfortable beds. Quiet location. Was nice to have a balcony to sit outside in the evening with a glass of wine. Kitchen had full sized appliances. Dining area and living room with separate bedroom. Complementary hot breakfast was a nice treat. I would definitely stay here again.
Great service from all staff. Staff are always smiling and helpful and caring about my needs, Rooms are large, comfy and clean. Made my overall stay relaxing and great to be there. The furniture is always in great shape from the couch to the beds and rooms are very clean and fresh. Lots of space in the kitchenette rooms. Really appreciate this roomy feel. Great overall and will stay again and again...thank you for this quality experience.
This B/W is well run and clean. The room was very spacious and well maintained. The area was very quiet and we slept very well. The air con.was one of the better ones and nice and quiet. The breakfast could have included a bit more variety but what they served was really good. Would definitely recommend
We arrived well before normal check-in time but the friendly desk clerk was very accommodating and let us check in. The entire property looks recently renovated and was very clean. Our room (King size with kitchenette) was very nice and the bed was super comfy. Also the hotel was very quiet. Would definitely stay here again.
enjoyed stay,as it was the week before summer boom starts Restaurant had great food, would definitely eat there again. Very handy location to get in and out, next door to Rattlesnake Canyon, enjoyed time there. Breakfasts had good variety and fresh fruits, thanks ! we'll be back
It is nice to see staff who are helpful and pleasant. The rooms are clean and pleasing and the noise level is minimal. We stay at Best Western whenever we travel in N. America. We know what we will be getting and appreciate the experience.
We stayed two nights at this hotel. It's a convenient location, on Hwy 3, near the Lake. City centre is just 2 minutes away by car or 15 minutes on foot. Breakfast was included. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Was in town on business for 3 days. The hotel is clean and comfortable and has very pleasant staff. There is a good hot breakfast in the morning as well. I found it to be a good value and for families with kids, the hotel is next door to Rattlesnake Canyon amusement park.
Spent 4 days at Best Western Osoyoos and highly recommend this hotel for excellent rooms, great breakfast, fantastic service. Great value! Front desk staff are very accommodating and went out of their way to help
We stayed at this property for two nights, May 31 and June1 we found the room on Booking.com and it gave us a rate for two nights we decided to just go into the hotel to book the room. We were told by the older lady at the front desk that there were NO rooms with a king bed. We told her that they did have one so she looked and said ok we do have one. She gave us a price of over 15 dollars more than booking.com gave us even with our Best Western card and our AMA card. We told her no we would not accept that price she finally gave us the price we wanted. We wanted to stay two more nights there but we were told that they did not have any rooms yet they did as it showed on booking.com she then said they did and gave us a price of at least 50 more than it showed on the other site. we did not stay longer...the room was not worth the price, the fridge had not been looked at in a very long time as it was more of an ice block than a fridge. Went to the desk to ask for toilet paper and the same lady ignored me. We will not go back.
We stayed here for 3 nights in suite on the 3rd floor. Front desk staff were friendly & accomodating. We weren't expecting a unit with a full size fridge, stove, dishwasher, & balcony, not to mention the comfortable livingroom & huge seperate bedroom. The beds, pillows & linens were top quality & made for a very comfortable nights sleep. We were overlooking the roof but still could see the orchards & mountains. The hotel is next to an amusement park which is nice for families. The full breakfast was appreciated although the hot items were not always warm. Varied selection with scramble & hard boiled eggs, sausage or bacon, cereals, waffles, yogurt, fruit, bagels, toast, pastries, fruit juices & coffee. We would definately book here again & recommend to others. While in Osyoos be sure to visit the desert model railway, the many wineries & fruit stands. We also went across the border to Washington US. If you like to visit casinos be sure to check out the new 12 tribes casino in Omak.
Stayed here one night. Nice room, great beds, staff very helpful at the front desk in recommending places to dine! Right across from the lake! Good value! Breakfast was very good and free! Had a little room with easy chairs and coffee table for visiting out of your room!
The room was a suite with a fridge and separate bedroom. Very comfortable. Nice little deck as well . The breakfast was eggs sausage waffles fruit and more . Excellent value and a great stay. Parking is good and right next door to the go carts etc. I would recommend this hotel in Osoyoos.
Large main living room with flat screen TV and full kitchen. Has separate bedroom with two queen beds and another flat screen TV. Attached balcony where you can sit out and enjoy eastern mountain and vineyard views. Breakfast excellent with usual items plus scrambled eggs and sausages. Make your own waffles with large eating area. Rooms clean and modern with nice furnishings. Would definitely stay here again. We had 2nd floor end unit so noise level was low.
Pretty much consistently good accommodation compared to other "decent" chains for the cost. Only 1 B/W we did not like. Seems it was in Bryce Canyon, if that's where B/W has two motels. Favourites are St. George, Wendover, Great Falls, Sicamous and Osyoos!
We didn't have a reservation, and when we arrived there were only family suites available, but the manager recognized us from previous visits and gave us an excellent rate. The rooms are very clean and quiet. We always enjoy our stay at this hotel.
Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was just what I needed. Staff were very helpful.I was attending a meeting and field workshop and the location worked out well for that purpose. Will likely return for a vacation as location is great.
Easy to find, especially if you are travelling east-west. Not on the beach, but next door to an amusement park, so great if you are with kids. Typical room, typical breakfast, easy drive to downtown, shopping, etc. If the beach is not what you are looking for, a good place to stay
This place rocks! Within walking distance to all amenities in Osoyoos. Clean, good breakfast, great staff. Lovely jacuzzi suites at an affordable rate. I highly recommend this Best Western property for your next stay.
Just me and my dog. At check-in a doggy bag for my dog and some very helpful info about dog parks, etc. Our ground floor room was clean and spacious room with a little balcony -facing the back side of the hotel-perfect! Our room was near the side door so late and early trips to grassy patches (for my dog, not me!) were very easy and not disruptive to other guests. Breakfast was in a nice room and there were lots of choices. You could eat as healthily as you like. Excellent location...close to beaches (for humans and/or dogs) but dangerously close to a Dairy Queen! Heads up management - your front desk staff is excellent! (Way more competent, knowledgable and warm than at some high-end hotels)
This hotel was nice for the value. It has a great location to wineries in Osoyoos. We were visiting for a wine tour. OK Wine tours even had pick up service at the front door. They offered a full breakfast with variety of foods. And the front desk staff was friendly. Our room was really big too with a full kitchen.
Staff and hotel were what we have come to expect with Best Western! Comfortable and affordable! Staff are the BEST at BW! NO complaints here! Good restaurants close by! Amazing pool area and very clean property!
This place is great value and very comfortable. We loved our room which was lovely and quiet, with large cosy beds and a nicely appointed bathroom. The Reception and Housekeeping staff were all hugely helpful. Breakfast is included, and there were a range of hot and cold items of varying quality to choose from, including cereals, yoghurt, sausages or bacon (supposedly alternating, but sausages were served 3 or 4 days running during our stay), scrambled eggs, toast and waffles. But there were a couple of things about the breakfast that struck me as 'cheap' and sub-par, especially for a PLUS venue that is supposed to be offering enhanced facilities and services. Firstly, I was disappointed to find that the 'pancake syrup' for the waffles was really coloured sugar syrup - and it wasn't even maple-flavoured. Surely it's not too much to expect real maple syrup in Canada? Then I was truly shocked to find out that the honey wasn't actually honey, but 'honey-flavoured syrup'. Honestly, how is that actually a product? Is it really too expensive to supply actual honey to guests? Honey-flavoured syrup really is sub-standard. That said, I would stay here again. I'd probably just eat out for breakfast or BYO honey.
Osoyoos was a great little hide away and this was our first time visiting. People were very friendly in this little town. When we arrived, we were given an upgrade to a suite. The suite was very spacious and comfortable for us. We will definitely share our experience with others.
Frist time to overnight in Osoyoos and was pleased to see BW represented there. A very comfortable room in this well maintained property. Obviously popular with international travelers too (several European accents). Very tasty breakfast
Check in was a breeze...less than 5 minutes. Our room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant which was very good. My daughter and wife spent an hour in the indoor pool, which they enjoyed very much. It was our first stop in Canada (which was the first time we've been in Canada) so we anticipated something totally opposite of what we got. Just be prepared to spend more money and if you use a credit card you must have the chip card and have a PIN number. I didn't know that coming in to Canada but luckily it was easily resolved for me. The hotel and restaurant staff were very nice and hospitable. Even the locals that we interacted with were very nice. Will definitely stay there again when we make our way back to the States.
We arrived at 4 pm and were greeted by Shelley at the front desk, who was friendly and helpful. The lobby was cozy and welcoming and included a seating area and a keurig machine for your convenience. When we got to our room it also was not a disappointment. It was super clean and the beds were the usual," like sleeping on a cloud" which is one of our main reasons for always staying at the Best Western Plus. We had a lovely view of the mountains from our room as well.Later in the evening after a delicious meal at the restaurant next door, we asked about our favorite late night drink of peppermint tea to which Shelley escorted us into the breakfast room and gave us 2 complementary tea bags. The breakfasts as usual were delicious with scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage and fluffy Belgian waffles! We will be coming back next year for sure!!!
We came on May long so it was a bit busy but not even as bad as I expected. Rooms were clean, staff super friendly and the balcony was great! Breakfast was eggs, bacon, waffles, cereal, yogurt, coffe tea and much more. So worth the stay.
The Sunrise Inn is conveniently located at the east end of Osoyoose right on Highway # 3 (Main Street). The rooms are clean, the grounds well maintained. The staff is friendly and willing to accommodate your needs. Breakfast are included in the price
The hotel is located on the main road through Osoyoos, convenient to lakeside walks and for touring the vineyards. The hotel was comfortable with the usual features, the restaurant evening meal was so-so. I cannot comment on the free breakfast as on both of the two mornings we stayed there, the hotel had two coach tours and we could not access the facility so had to resort to a restaurant in the town.
My sister and I are here on a mini wine tour holiday. The Best Western Plus Sunrise Inn is a lovely little hotel at the east end of Osoyoos. As it is the shoulder season, the hotel is not too busy, but is still full service. The rooms are spotless, the beds are divine, and the full breakfast is excellent. We have a nice view of the mountains at the edge of town. The staff have been courteous and helpful.
We had a kitchenette room. King bed, couch, desk, table and chairs, and pots and dishes. Lots of room and storage. This hotel has a restaurant and the food was excellant. Staff friendly.. Centrally located to shops, attraction, restaurants, wineries and golf courses. would definitely stay there again.
We were travelling from Victoria to Cranbrook and decided to break up the trip by staying in Osoyoos overnight. We had stayed there many years ago and liked it. It is also very convenient for us as we travel with our dogs. They have dog friendly rooms and we are very appreciative of that. There is also a park just around the corner where you can walk your dogs. The temperature that afternoon was almost 30 degrees and it was lovely to sit out on the balcony in the evening sun and breeze. Breakfast is free with your room and we enjoyed it. A great variety. We also stayed here again on our return trip to the island. This is an amazing hotel and we will stay there again. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Great place to stay in Osoyoos, Would definitely stay here again. On our recent trip to Osoyoos we stayed 5 nights at the Best Western Plus in Osoyoos. From the time we arrived to the time we departed the staff were friendly and very helpful. The hot breakfast was enjoyed by whole family. Excellent selection of hot and cold items. Also we enjoyed the pool and hot tub amenities. The room had a king sized bed and pull out sofa. Room was large and comfortable. Kitchen area was a little on small side but did the job for light snacks. Would plan on eating dinner out if you did not get full size kitchen. Lots of excellent choices for restaurants in local area. Room was clean and bed was comfortable.
My husband and I were travelling thru Osoyoos when we decided to stay at the last minute. Thru a google search i found this hotel and was not disappointed. The suite was spacious. the internet worked well and the breakfast was better than expected. We stayed an extra day without any issues. The staff were very friendly and professional.
I stopped one night enroute to Vancouver. I didn't have a reservation so took my chances. The hotel is in dire need of a renovation. Even though my room was quiet (looked out on the back parking lot) and it had a balcony, it needed some updating. There were two lamps on the desk and near the fridge that didn't work. I found that they worked if I loosened the bulbs but then they kept flickering. The hotel has free WiFi but I had trouble with it staying connected. Stop using it for awhile and when I'd go back I would have to reinsert my code again. The queen bed was comfortable and firm. The bathroom was okay but the towel bar is set on the wall right beside the toilet so you end up with them dragging down with you or else holding them out of your way when you're getting up. Wallpaper is peeling in the bathroom. The shower curtains have a detachable bottom section so when the maid fastened them to the top section they didn't do it correctly so water poured through the opening and onto the floor. With taxes the room came to $136.00 which to me is rather high for this hotel in its condition. The breakfast in the morning was very good but since there is no restaurant travellers have to go elsewhere, Next time I'm in Osoyoos I will probably pick another place though this hotel has good possibilities. The staff's friendliness more than makes up for the concerns I had.
The two reasons I choose this hotel are: 1. it was pet friendly and 2. it has EV charging for my Tesla model S. Otherwise the facilities are average with small rooms and no microwave oven. The restaurant was not special to make you want to return. Will look at other hotels next time.
We were very pleasantly surprised when we walked into our suite to discover a full kitchen, balcony and such spacious accomodations! For the rate we were charged, I would never have expected the room we got! It was even better than the 5-Star Resort I routinely use in the Riviera Maya!! The service was excellent, the room spotless and everything in perfect working order. My only critique is the pillows could be better (pretty hard), and the breakfast buffet, while tasty, was not anything above the ordinary. It is also a little far away from the "Center of things" in Osoyoos - not that this is a bustling metropolis with tons of amenities, LOL! So walking places is a little inconvenient, FYI.
Really lucked out when we picked this one. Priced well below other accommodation in the area. Since we were only planning an overnight stay, we weren't looking for anything other than a clean quiet room. We were very pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff and the room that was assigned to us. Clean, spacious and well appointed. No problems or issues with room. A comfortable evening. The buffet breakfast was good. Plenty of choice, fresh and frequently replenished buffet with hot and cold choices. Clearly, the management of this hotel is working hard (and succeeding) in an effort to provide a quality experience for their guests.
The hotel was clean and the staff was very accommodating and helpful. The complimentary breakfasts were very good with an assortment of eggs & bacon, waffles, cereals fruits etc. The coffee was yuk! But there was a Kuerig machine in the lobby and you can buy a cartridge for $1.00 Cdn. The pool and hot tub were clean and functional. The adjacent restaurant food was a very good value and quality, however the staff could use some more table-side manners - a little gruff. For you parents out there the mini-golf amusement park is adjacent to the property so when "in season" a perfect place for kids. If you want peace and quiet away from kids during the peak season, you may consider another location.
Staff were good and the rooms were clean with an excellent breakfast and a good restaurant that had a well set out menu . My wife had a Taco Salad with the Taco being made in the restaurant and all dishes had plenty of food. Check-in was fast and efficient with a very knowlegeable clerk. Pool and fitness area very good with up to date treadmill. Lots of parking and centrally located.
We arrived at the Best Western after a long drive through slush covered roads in the Salmo/Creston Pass. A tiring day. So...it was a real treat to be greeted by Shelley (?) when walking up to inquire about a room on the main floor. She kindly gave us the best senior rate she could, told us to park just outside the doors and helped us load the luggage and other "stuff" we'd accumulated onto the trolley and wheeled it all to our room, assisting us with unloading, too! Then she proceeded to suggest places to see the next couple of days, mentioning the largest and well-stocked Home Hardware store ever, the Desert Model Railroad display and other places of interest. The breakfast (included in the cost of our room) was very good with lots of choices, including delicious waffles. The swimming pool and hot tub were a refreshing place to visit after a day exploring. The restaurant attached to the hotel had really tasty meals served by friendly people. Whenever I decide to go back to Osoyoos, I definitely would stay at this Best Western. The timing was good (April 4th/5th -- cherry trees, etc. had beautiful blooms! There are a plethora of wineries around Osoyoos to visit.
3 night stay with little dog and little boy, great place for both. The room had a patio, the weather was cooperative, the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was very busy, the breakfast was good, lots of variety.
The amusement park next door wasn't open yet so it was quiet, and our third floor balcony room looked north over the neighbourhood and to the slopes beyond. The room was clean and comfortable, and the (included) breakfast buffet offered many items. Only every 2nd room has a balcony (at least on the north side) so they are very private.
Had a great stay, nice room, excellent guest services. Continental breakfast was good with lot of options to choose from. Night staff very professional and friendly. Would definitely visit again.. Keep up the good job...
I always expect to have a pleasant stay when I stay at the Best Western in Osyoos. So far, have never been disappointed. Front desk staff is always helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The Restaurant has a lovely varied menu and the service is great.
We had a great stay at the Westerner in Osoyoos. The breakfast was exceptional and the staff were friendly and helpful. Weve never been disappointed by any of our stays at a Westerner Hotel. Good value for our money.
over priced the rooms where nothing spectacular. The pool and hot tub was okay. The continental breakfast was great all 3 mornings. The restaurant was great, food was real good. Excellent soups, Sunday brunch was excellent. The staff in the restaurant where great, friendly and help full on telling us about Osoyoos.
We enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfasts were very good, and our room was clean and comfortable. We were close to the lake for walking and close enough to walk downtown as well-that was about 20 minutes. There were a few eating places within walking distance as well. We didn't use the pool or exercise space but lots of people were. Oh yes, coffee available 24/7. We had a wee bit of trouble with wifi staying connected especially in the evening.
It has been a fun time and memorable experience visiting Osoyoos and staying at Best Western. Specious Queen suit with two queen beds, sofa bed, cable TV, Full kitchen, Breakfast, swimming pool, friendly staff and much more made our trip very comfortable and enjoyable.
In order to put the "Best" in this Best Western Western Hotel it needs renovation and updating. We found our room décor old and worn - with a roll out couch that was in desperate need of replacement. We had requested a room with a lake view but instead were assigned a second floor room looking into an adjacent wall & roof? Third floor rooms here are the only chance of a view and/or request rooms on the west side. As well the breakfast room was crowded, stuffy, dark and constantly running out of food - this area is in desperate need of renovation and windows.
Home away from home. Always my first choice of accommodation in Osoyoos BC as I need to count on a night of comfort before I continue on my journey. The generous breakfast sets me up for the long drive to follow.
Well on our quiet journey through B.C. this spring one of our stop was in this quaint community. As usual Best Western lived up to our expectations. would do it again.Close to golf course over looking the beautiful Osoyoos Lake. Only thing missing was the orchards in bloom.
We have stayed at this hotel at least 4 times in the past, usually everything was great. This time we were disappointed because the heat could not be regulated in the room, one of the coffee cups was chipped, connecting to the WIFi was difficult and it kept dropping off. The fridge needed defrosting, everything we put in the fridge froze solid.
Great presentation, great check in, super promo for in house average restaurant, my dentist fills teeth faster than the computer is in the business center. One tiny bottle of shampoo for two fellows, no maid service at all!
I purchased a deal though Travelzoo, and booked to stay during the week. Upon checking in, the front desk lady was very rude, and not welcoming or helpful at all. Which really off put our experience. I also tried to call down to the front desk to ask about towels for the pool, and she put me on hold, but i could hear her conversation the whole time she was checking someone in, and then once she was finished, and didn't pick up the phone, It was a good 5 minutes before I decided to just hang up and forget about it. The Room itself was great. A little on the stuffy side, and there is a note on the thermostat saying not to change it, and even with a window open, it was a tough night sleeping.
We stayed here for several nights and were pleased with the experience. The property is centrally located and is in good repair. The staff are courteous and helpful; the rooms are spacious and comfortable. All areas of the hotel were in good order, tidy and very clean. Cleanliness is a key priority for us (and we had recently had a poor experience with filth at another Osoyoos hotel) so the attention to cleanliness was extremely well appreciated. Breakfast was included in our stay and we found this to be a nice convenience. We recommend this property for its cleanliness and value for money.
I arrived at 5pm with no reservation, needing to spend the night after running into nasty weather in the mountains east of Osoyoos. The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming; when I arrived she was helping a woman track down some friends who were actually staying in another hotel. She really went out of her way to be helpful. I was offered a room on the second floor for $99, which I considered to be reasonable. The front desk clerk suggested that I would enjoy the indoor pool and hot tub after a stressful drive. When I told her that I did not pack a swim suit, she graciously upgraded my room to a king size Jacuzzi suite at no charge. I've never received a free upgrade before. The room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. The rooms on the back of the building are very quiet; you don't hear any road noise. The bed was comfortable. The only thing that was a little off was the fact that the duvet had obviously been washed many times, and was a bit lumpy. But this is NOT a problem really. Breakfast is included with the room. I was pleasantly surprised to find a wide variety of choices: hot bacon, scrambled eggs, a waffle making station, fresh fruit, a variety of cereals and baked goods, and more. On my way back home, I stopped in Osoyoos again and stayed at the same hotel. No free upgrade this time...the hotel was at capacity. But I was still happy with the 3rd floor double queen room at the front of the building. And breakfast was good again. I'll definitely be making this my preferred stop on trips between the Kootenays and Vancouver Island.
We stay at Best Western in Osoyoos usually twice a year and it is always fantastic. This time was great until there was a loud fight and disturbance outside our door at 3 AM and lasting a long time. Notified the front desk and she was trying to defuse the problem but there were no police available at that time of day. Needless to say we never did get back to sleep and left early to go back home to get some rest
We booked the hotel on a third party website and got a reasonable price. The hotel is well presented and well serviced. Everywhere is clean and comfortable. The suite we were given (courtesy of Shelly-thank-you) was brilliant: very spacious, with a living area and separate bedroom with two queen beds in it). Everything in the suite was in great order and the space well appointed and comfortable. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the bedding high quality and everywhere was nice and clean. All hotel staff were professional, accommodating and helpful, Derek was helpful and pleasant and Shelly was friendly, helpful and overall wonderful- thank-you. The room rate included a deluxe hot breakfast which was fine. The breakfast room was full at about 9am when we went, but we were able to take our food back to our room (which we preferred to do so anyway). We would definitely recommend this hotel.
A thoroughly enjoyable stay from check in to check out. Rooms were clean and spacious. Complementary Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. Definitely a good value for the money spent. Will use the Sunrise Inn on our next visit!!
My whole family enjoyed this hotel! Friendly staff and the indoor pool was great for the kids. We stayed for a local hockey tournament so our schedule was all over the place. The staff were extremely accommodating and a pleasure to chat with. Breakfast was everything you could want and then some. We will return soon!
After traveling across the US for 4 days, heading to Sun Peaks BC, we arrived at Best Western PLUS Sunrise Inn, in Osoyoos, BC. It would be our last nigh until reaching our destination. We travel with a pet and it is always a concern about getting a room with a pet. However, the desk clerk, Sheila, was great. She had a room, in fact gave us an upgrade for no additional charge, and a little treat for our dog. The suite was clean and roomy. My wife and I were traveling with a teen and a dog, so it was nice to have the extra room of the suite. Very pleasant experience, and we will return as we make this trip across the US to Sun Peaks twice a year.
Excellent service, very pet friendly, great bed and pillows!!!!! Excellent comfort in the room. It had a complete kitchenette. Breakfast very good, restaurant attached so so. Facilities good, quiet location in Oosoyos BC near lake and downtown area as well as vineyards.
We have stayed at the BW Sunrise Inn several times on our way to Vancouver and have always found it to be comfortable. The ice machine was out of order on the main floor this time, but the one on the second floor was working. The room is a little dated, but comfortable. The included breakfast is average and the attached restaurant is convenient. Our halibut and chips was very good.
Through our long trek of driving across Canada, this was probably our favourite stop over! The staff was so courteous, friendly and generous. They even gave us a free room upgrade! Our room was spotless, beautiful and comfortable. We would definitely recommend the Osoyoos Best Western, and we hope to stay there again in the future!
Good place to stay in Osoyoos, first time stay for me at this property. Made reservation over mobile app, somehow assigned me an Accessible Room which I don't need, I called the hotel and they fixed it right away and even gave me an upgrade (I'm BW Diamond, so that's par for the course based on availability). The restaurant is excellent, one of the better hotel restaurant meals I've had in a long time, generous portions (too much actually), flavourful and very reasonably priced. I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Osoyoos. Recommend.
my wife and I arrived at the hotel at the end of a very long and tiring trip. the 2 ladies at the front desk were super friendly and accomodating. Our special needs were cheerfully looked after . they did everything for us while they were creating a beautiful Christmas display.
Great experience at this hotel. Staff very polite and helpful over the phone and in person. Very clean as well and recently updated. Would definitely recommend it. Stayed in the king bed jacuzzi room.
Great place to stay in Osoyoos, BC, great staff , great owner, very clean, ... Always have a good sleep. Top notch, staff cares and works hard to make stays good. Been coming down to Osoyoos and staying here for years now, never disappointed. Located through town, close to beaches and the best restaurant in town across the street, Campo Marina.
We found the rooms all fresh and redone. The air conditioning is new and very quiet. But best of all the staff are just great. The spa area is clean and a good relaxation point after a day on the road. We spent three nights here on different occasions in July and August.
Hotel was awesome. It was really clean and service and food was good. Front desk staff were very helpful when we were asking about places to see in the area. They were very accommodating when we wanted to stay an additional night.
This was a very clean and well situated inn for enjoying the 40 wineries within a 15 to 30 minute drive location in the Okanogan River Valley. The staff was very helpful and made the experience enjoyable.
This hotel is very nice. The staff were pleasant and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Our room was ground floor and had a nice sitting area outside the room. They take dogs which is a plus and we even had a kitchenette. The hotel isn't right downtown so walking would be a bit far. The continental breakfast was also better than most with eggs and sausages being served along with the other usual hotel fare.
This appears to be a great place to stay if you were going to be in Osoyoos for an extended period of time. My wife and I had a king bed room. Kitchenette has fridge, two burner stove and microwave; plus assorted pots, pans, plates and silverware. Walking distance to a lake side park. Served a nice breakfast in the moring. Staff were fantastic. We would stay here again if in Osoyoos. The TV was to small and the hot tub looked like it was in need of some TLC...looked a little green.
What a great hotel to stay at. Located on the east side of the lake, immediately as you enter into Osoyoos....(coming down the mountain)...it is quiet, superbly clean, the staff are exceptionally friendly. Shelley, the evening concierge that met me, was warm, funny and has a giant soft spot for 4 legged friends. I stayed 1 night here on my way to the coast and couldn't have had a better night sleep. beds are firm, pillows are great. The suite I was upgraded too thanks to my best western points card had a small kitchenette and a big bathroom. heck this suite is as large as my condo. Easily accessible to all amenities but just out of the way...you wont regret saying here for the night...great continental breakfast will get you charged for the day.
Spent an unremarkable night here. Adequate, and priced within reason for location. Just so cookie cutter style with nothing special I can say about it. Slept well on comfortable beds with comfy pillows. Front desk clerk when we arrived was the most unfriendly I have met on my travels. No eye contact, no greeting. When asked about the local dining menus at the front desk (as promoted in the in-room directory), she made an offhand gesture to the brochure rack and said, "whatever's there." Learned upon check out from some much more pleasant staff that they indeed had menu samples behind the desk; guess she had better things to do than help us. Decent and varied breakfast buffet is included in price, though the pastries did not look at all appealing. Could stay elsewhere for less and enjoy the early bird breakfast special deal at local dining establishment.
Nice set up for three ladies, who are on a budget and wine touring!! Loved the option of cooking at home after a long day of wine tasting and not having to drive any more. Location was convenient, room very pleasant. Also loved the full breakfast which never seemed to run out!
A friendly welcome from start to finish,a bright and airy reception area. Reception staff very efficient, explained all the services available at the hotel. Nice pool and hot(ish)tub, small gym for those with energy to spare. We had a ground floor room, good size room with a well proportioned bathroom. On the outskirts of the town,, but not too far to walk.
Our experience at this hotel was beyond great.....the front desk staff were exceptional, especially Shelley. She was a fountain of information and such a pleasant personalitity. Derek and Winnie were also so accommodating. Would be our first choice if we needed to stay in Osoyoos again. Thank you everyone....
Another great stay here in Osoyoos. This hotel is always our first choice when visiting here and am glad to see that this most recent stay did not disappoint - we will definitely be back again. The rooms are always comfy and clean, the showers excellent. The property is always very well maintained, easy to see the pride shine through here.
I stayed here over the weekend and enjoyed it. Location is right near all the wineries in Osoyoos if you're looking for that. Room was clean and comfortable although one of my towels did have a yellow stain on it. Breakfast was good and service was excellent.
Breakfast was very tasty. Staff was always making sure everything was re-filled when empty. Bed was comfortable, and we were within easy walking distance to the lake. Needs a bit of maintenance though. Bathroom fan not working, as well as one of the wall plugs. Only half the jets in the whirlpool were working, and the wireless internet dropped on occasion. A few of the bugs aside, overall a good stay.
