"Bedbugs made a meal of my husband"

We had a room with two beds. I was fine, but my husband woke up feeling itchy, and we discovered he was covered in bug bites. There are literally hundreds of bites, especially on his legs and ankles, and on the side he sleeps on. There's no other way he could have been bitten so many times except for bugs in the bed. These are not mosquito bites—they are something very different. We travel for our business and have stayed in hundreds of hotels, and we have never had an experience like this. Do not stay here. I repeat, do not stay here.

The front desk staff was rude and unaccommodating. Online said 3pm check in. Wouldn't allow us to check in until 4pm. Housecleaning said we had to check out by 11am. Over $100 for less than a 24 hour stay! The ice machine on the 2nd floor was spitting out "black specks" with the ice. No way to turn the bubble on in the hot tub. We won't be back.

Great price for all the amenities, we are definitely staying again. The hot breakfast is very good and my kids loved it, and even we didn't use the pool it's nice to know that we have that option and also will definitely will used next time

Sheets were stained all over with what looked like urine, semen. Broken lamps, light bulbs not working. Cockroaches in restroom. Cigarette ashes under pillows. Towels stained. Carpet seemed they had never been shampoo

Horrible experience; the lady(black hair , glasses , short lady ) that checked us in last night was rude, unprofessional and just horrible . I did make a complain but apparently the other manager (Maria) was not too keen about making a report .The lady was acting so immature by mocking us and telling us “I don't wanna talk to you anymore” . Completely unprofessional . How can people like this get hired and remain in those jobs when they obviously are not professional . Ruined my night completely.

I came from North Carolina and Amanda was very rude and obnoxious. She had the worst attitude with me. Didn't appreciate. I wished Ali was at the front desk because she would also let me know when breakfast starts and ends. I went there at 9:30 am for at least a cup of coffee and this other girl Karen yelled at me in an aggressive tone told me to leave the lobby and said “that's why there's a coffee machine in your room.” I really hope these people get fired or replaced. Hopefully next time I visit Ali's there. She made me feel right at home unlike this rude people

I visit the area every 3 to 4 months, and highly recommend this hotel. I like the fact that it has a refrigerator in each room. The room is always ready on time and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

This place is well run, super clean and the staff is amazing. Big comfy bed and big pillows. Ive stayed tones of times and ive never had a bad experience. I dropped my earbud down the drain and the maintenance man came within minutes and got it out. Housekeeping is always on their A-game. Its affordable and its cozy.

Clean and comfortable room at a very good price - with pool and WiFi. Check in and out was quick and efficient. and Staff is very friendly. Plenty of restraints in the immediate area so you don't have to go far off track.

My sheets had yellow stains, and what looked like blood stains. My towels had what looked like blood stains too. My bathtub had mold. My sheets smelled like sweat. My stay was terrible. Really happy i didnt feel bugs in the bed, I hope.

Worst rooms. Dirty towels and pillow cases. They had a brown tint. The floor was stained and not even vacuumed well. They didn't even put an actual comforter on the bed. The breakfast was the worst I'd ever seen!

I booked this hotel out of loyalty to Best Western, but nothing could be further from standards than being part of this chain. The room is old and with bad taste decoration, but somehow it complies with what is offered, my problem was when trying to connect to the internet. It was simply impossible and what is worse, when I went to reception to try to get help, the staff was rude and told me that this problem is very common and that it would be better for me to leave the hotel if I was not willing to be without internet. I immediately grabbed my things and left. I will not return, not even remotely close to this hotel.

Had an excellent time to just relax after alot of work getting done. This hotel had great management that really took care of me going that extra mile. I'm completely satisfied and highly recommend this hotel.

good hotel to stay at for sleeping and waking up. no HBO as stated. SLOOOOOWWW drain (fixed with draino from dollar store) and broken shower handle that came off. Placed it back on and kept showering. Just had too be careful to close it just right. Internet was free and reasonably fast.

Stayed one night instead of with family, because I arrived from out-of-town sick. They gave me a very quiet room #200 above the office. Spacious, surprisingly clean, with a comfortable bed. Front desk was very helpful. It is next to a freeway, but was not bothered. Pizza Hut, McDonald's and Luby's within easy walk. (I did not use the breakfast) Recommend this sleep-cheap over any other.

This is a second stay at this location. A definite value for the money. The breakfast could be improved. Have a more nutritious breakfast, forget the SWEETS! Beds are okay. I really feel a recliner would be beneficial in each room. Many men use these to sleep in :)

Inaccurate rate from the hotel didn't match the promised rate from Booking.com. We stayed there 4 nights. The first I finally called the desk to do something's about the noise at 1am. Nothing was done. The second night at 11:30 pm I went to the front desk to request a different room again, because of the noise. We got moved in and eventually had a halfway decent night's sleep. The third night we slept well...no noise and fine. The last night we ended up just checking out at 2:30 am as there was no way we could sleep because of the noise. The issue with the hotel rate and Booking.com still hasn't been resolved even though both promised to fix it. We will never go back to that hotel. And while I am ranting...what is wrong with people that when they go to a hotel they just think there is nobody else to consider?

We have been staying at Sure Stay for almost 18 years, this proves that we enjoy staying at this hotel in Mission Texas. Tony and Sara treat us like family, we would not stay anywhere else. Everything about this hotel rates a 10.

Checked out 2 days early and only received 1 night refund. Have not received the last night refund. My workers stayed Monday night leaving on Thursday. The hotel was told that the guys were leaving early but no refund. The manager/owner of the hotel will not call me back to talk about this.

I was attending my daughter 4H shotgun competition and we chose to stay at this hotel due to proximity of the competition. First problem was that they charged extra for the crib for my younger daughter and was not told in the beginning before I made reservation. The room had a mold smell to it and plus the water to the shower and faucet had bitter smell as well.

Sara always has a smile and treats us like family. All the employees go above and beyond to help us in whatever we need. We love staying here everytime our work brings us out to Mission. We wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Stayed at this hotel for about a week and had and amazing stay. The hotel might not be the most current but for what our company paid for our stay we cannot complain. Housekeepers did an outstanding job cleaning my room. Sara, only see her working the mornings, was very nice and had a lot of patience with us. We are not from this part of town and she new where to direct us to have some drinks after work and where there are couple of nice places to grab a bite to eat. We will definitely be coming back to this hotel as long as our job is still going on in Mission,TX.

Once again I enjoyed my stay. The room was nice and cold when I checked in, it was so comfortable. Like always the front desk people make u feel welcomed. The young lady with the glasses is always very nice to us she's very friendly. Breakfast was good as well fresh fruit n my favorite waffles :). Let's not forget the pool especially with these hot days good thing their pool is nice and clean I don't think twice about getting in. I'll definitely keep going back my favorite place to stay.

Due to my business I travel every week to Mission, TX and I've been staying every week at this hotel for years. Price is very affordable, rooms are clean and comfortable. I have to mention hotel has great customer service.

Great value in the Rio Grande Valley. Easy access on US 83 to the western area of the valley. Clean large room with no complaints other than a somewhat smaller flat panel TV. Decent breakfast service and friendly staff. Did I mention the room had a hot tub? Didn't use it.

Hubby surprised me with a nice little getaway.. He had the girls at the hotel hook up our room w/roses everywhere??nice and quiet place..breakfast was great w/the Texas waffles... The girls at the front desk were very nice, always with a smile and willing to help us w/any questions... Definitely coming back and recommending this hotel??
