Right beside the fjord in the idyllic village of Solvorn in Luster lies Walaker Hotell, WorldHotels Crafted. The hotel, which has been inherited from generation to generation, is a charming family hotel and an attraction in itself. Located in the middle of the world’s best tourist destination, according to National Geographic. The hotel has been owned by the same family since 1690 and is the oldest family-run hotel in Norway. To celebrate the family’s 300th anniversary, a large art gallery – Gallery Walaker 300 – was opened in the old outbuilding in the courtyard. The gallery has changing exhibitions each summer featuring artists from all over Norway. With its beautiful location by the Lusterfjord and its tranquil atmosphere, Walaker Hotell is a delightful destination for those seeking peace and tranquility. The hotel has its own beach on a sheltered bay in Lusterfjord and a delightful garden with roses and lilacs.
