My husband and I returned to Goodwood Park Hotel this year after a great experience last year . Staff are amazing friendly and very helpful . Location is excellent as we can get the MRT everywhere , walk to Orchard road etc . Best of all for us is the amazing breakfast ! We only tend to eat breakfast and dinner and over all our travels we love this best . The Bircher Muesli is insane with fruit and yogurt and a small made to order omelette and I'm happy 😃 highly recommend for an intimate hotel .

Goodwood Park Hotel combines gorgeous colonial architecture with modern elegance and a sense of history. The delux room was spacious and comfortable with views of the Mayfair wing pool. The location is easily accessed by taxi from the airport. The hotel has several excellent restaurants and various options of cuisine. The staff and service was exceptional and staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel maintains a high standard of cleanliness and we felt the experience was good value for money. Our stay was relaxing and most enjoyable. We will visit again.

Wonderful stay at this hotel. Check in was really smooth thanks to front desk staff Cui Yun and her manager Jimmy. Both were patient and friendly, helping us with our check-in queries and ensuring that we were shown into our room, which itself, was just classic and beautiful. Recommend it!

From your lobby staff offering a bell cart when one of our colleagues was struggling with event props and prizes, to arranging a buggy ride when our game machine delivery driver was delayed at a different loading point, every act demonstrated attentiveness and initiative. We were equally impressed when an F&B trolley was promptly provided to help move materials from the ballroom to the holding area and vehicles. Even the simple gesture of mooncakes for our working crew before the event began spoke volumes about the care and consideration extended to everyone involved. Had a meal at Coffee Lounge with my family and the service staff Berlynn was very passionate, professional and friendly. We had an early arrival and late departure and on both occasions the team offered a room to rest and take a shower before check in time and after check out time on our way to and from Europe. Gordon Grill restaurant the food was amazing, and must try the dessert made by assistant manager Chardran the pancakes with orange flavor by v.s.o.p. flames of fire and serve with ice cream was marvelous.

We loved our stay. The super friendly, helpful and attentive staff. The big room with a super king size bed and Crispy clean bed linen. Lovely breakfast and an amazing pool! (Water temperature just perfect to relax). Also the location is so close to a metro station, big shopping centre and many food courts. We will definitely come back one day!

The team is lovely and attentive. We stayed 3 weeks and it was nice talking and getting to know the people who made Goodwood tick. To be honest, the people we encountered were simply excellent and welcoming. Some special shout outs: Aslam was patient, capable, and addressed all my questions, Suresh was attentive and helpful, Ramlah and Mei, from the breakfast team brightened my mornings and always remembered my egg order. Amazing service by kunen. Literally the sweetest person who assisted with my laundry at 2am. He even remembered my laundry washing time and waited for me to pick me up for my 2nd round and drove me in a buggy. Eventually also did pickup and room delivery although it wasn't part of his/hotel scope. Truly humbled by your amazing service, thank you Goodwood!

The Goodwood Hotel is ideally located in the heart of the city with convenient access to the MRT and buses. Very convenient. Upon check in , the reception staff was very friendly and I was in my room with a few minutes. No hassles. Every time I needed a taxi , it was no problem and they efficiently got me one. Kevin and I looked forward to breakfast because there was a wide variety of breakfast items and fresh fruits. The staff was very friendly especially Ramlah and Suresh. He always went around to all guests to ask if there was anything that was needed. The room was cleaned and adequately furnished. The housekeeping lady, Lin was very polite and also enquired if we needed anything. It was always a pleasure and always had a friendly chat. Kevin and I dined at most of the food places in the hotel. The food was superb. From The Gordon's Grill the Min Jiang to the Coffee Lounge to the Le Expresso, it was different and delicious. We were a party of 10 old friends. Enjoying a reunion dinner at a classic venue. We had a special order of Sea Perch followed by Beef Wellington. The service was impeccable, particularly the Crepe suzette prepared by Krishna. He helped organise the dinner menu and tranformed the event into a memorable outing. Great wines, delightful food and first class service. Perfect!

Wendy was very friendly waitress when serving us. The Xiao Long Bao was dry and not that good sadly. But Wendy was great and took good care of us!

We stayed at the Goodwood Park Hotel and booked three Parklane Split Level Studio rooms. Since our flight arrived early in the morning, we were worried about check-in, but front desk staff Ong Ziyi was incredibly patient and professional, helping us sort everything out with genuine care. That first impression really set the tone for a wonderful stay. The rooms were comfortable and well-designed, and the entire team was warm, welcoming, and polite throughout our visit. The hotel itself is elegant and full of old-world charm — a true century-old heritage establishment. Its location is excellent, with easy access to dining and attractions, making it ideal for family trips. This was not our first time in Singapore, and we have chosen to stay here on several occasions. If you love history, culture, and a hotel with real character, this is the place for you. We will gladly return.

Had dinner at Gordon's grill. Food was excellent, especially the lamb. Crepe Suzette was prepared table side and was spectacular. Even though there was an issue with one of our main courses, service recovery was excellent. Special thanks to Krishna and his team for the warm and attentive service.

Stayed two nights in the heritage corner twin room number 18. Room is quite spacious with a living room and the bed is comfortable. Only qualm is the shower curtain in the bathtub is very flimsy and there is always pool of water outside the bathtub after finish the shower. Air conditioning is also not very cold in the bedroom. Service is great all around. And good location at the start of orchard.

Excellent service and a smooth, fast check-in process. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a Deluxe Pool Room, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We arrived on a monday morning 7am, we were exhausted from our flight from Paris and we really appreciated the effort from the Front Desk especially Manager Kim to help get an early room, and ensure the other room was next to each other. As a family of 5, it is important that we are close to each other and also that my kids were able to get rest instead of waiting in the reception lobby. Pool was nice, breakfast was good, rooms were clean. It was a nice surprise as it was our first time in this hotel. I recommend this hotel for the service of front desk, bell boy.

One memorable example was personally collecting our roasted pig at 8:00 AM on a Saturday—something he absolutely didn't have to do, but did simply to make things easier for us. On our second visit to the unique and tranquil Goodwood Park hotel we unexpectedly got upgraded to a very luxurious suite with 2 bathrooms and direct access to the secluded pool through a door in our bedroom which was a bliss. The double king bed was extremely comfortable. We stayed for 5 nights from July 16th to July 21st in room 153 and enjoyed every single minute of it. The staff overall were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast and service excellent. Last not least the hotel is very conveniently located, just around the corner from bustling Orchard Road.

The services is very good by Jeff as a leader for our business event tonight. The food was great. Just the duck dishes by itself tasted a little more salty. The rest is great!

We had a great stay at the Goodwood Park where they treated us very well including a late check-out which was so helpful with a late night flight. We stayed at a couple of the other five star heritage hotels before our visit to the Goodwood Park. The most famous is such a circus with all the tourists, tours, selfies, the famous bar and it is so impersonal as part of a chain. The other was a bit of a zoo at breakfast while the Goodwood was much more understated with brilliant service in a much quieter, old school style and more elegant guests. We received a very warm and personal, tailored service from all the staff but especially from the front desk and Jimmy Lee in particular. Highly recommended.

All the staff from concierge to front desk and hotel restaurants are approachable & friendly. Rooms are large, comfortable & functional with both aircon and overhead fans as befits a heritage hotel. Although only a stone's throw from the Orchard retail, it really feels like an oasis and a world away from the hub and buzz of Orchard Rd!

We booked the Boardroom at GWP for our customer meetings last week. Though there was a little hiccup, the GWP staff went all out to help make our experience better. The tea break and lunch sets included in the package was delicious too! A bit shoutout to Steven Yong and Don Eng for the fabulous service.

I stayed at this hotel with my wife for two nights. Less than ten minutes from Orchard station by walking. As it rained very heavily on the morning of the second day of our stay, we took a taxi merely to go to the Orchard station. This hotel is quiet and our room was spacious. It was very comfortable to stay. Breakfast buffet was very nice. Kind and friendly staff.

Goodwood Park is an institutions. It can be a bit stuffy and formal and the front desk team could do with a brush up at charm school, nonetheless it's perfectly located and the rooms are nice. The pillow choice is limited - hard or hard and the breakfast a little monotonous for a long stay but some of the old retainers make the place homely enough. I fine the common parts very cold but that seems to be a feature of Singapore. There should be more incentive to eat in the restaurants for hotel guests - 15 percent is a little mean

We had our company event held in Goodwood Park Hotel in Jun 26. The service rendered by Mr Buddhika De Silva, Banquet Manager and his team members (Lee Hwa, Brandon, AV Tech Min) were excellent 👍🏻. Th team is very professional and pay attention to details. My colleagues enjoyed themselves and the food served was delicious. All these would not have happened without the arrangement by Mr Don Eng, Marketing Manager. Goodwood Park Hotel is highly recommended for holding your corporate event 👍🏻

Good service at the restaurant, nice atmosphere and comfy to chill.

The hotel location is very convenient, close to the shopping malls along Orchard Road, and just a few minutes' walk to the MRT. The breakfast was just so-so, lacking variety, but the bed was very comfortable. The front desk staff and manager were incredibly nice and helpful. Part of the hotel is currently under renovation, but if you like staying in a historical building and enjoying a swimming pool (some rooms are poolside), this is a good option. One hiccup was that our room's toilet made a loud flushing noise, and there was a water leak from the bathtub. It's been fixed the next day, other than that, i had a nice experience at the hotel.

This hotel is fantastic, whether it is for a work trip or with the family, it is a great spot to stay. We stay here 3-4 times a year and it never disappoints.

We came for the roasted Peking duck which was delicious -- crisp skin yet not greasy -- served with thin crepes and an array of condiments. Note that this has to be pre-ordered at last one day in advance. The 4-variety dim sum platter was beautifully presented. What was nice was that the staff offered to swop one of the dim sum. We were hesitating to order it since we didn't fancy one of the options. They also literally went out of the way to locate one of the diners who couldn't find the restaurant which is tucked away at the far end of the block. Overall, excellent service, good food, plus a lovely, serene setting with lots of natural light.

This is a wonderful hotel. It has all the luxury you expect in a 5 star hotel and is in a significant heritage building with h tropical gardens.

I stayed at Parklane this time and overall the experience was good. However, it was quite surprising that no bottled mineral water was provided. During my 5-night stay, there were no mineral water bottles at all. Even though there is a water filter available in the kitchen, I would suggest that the hotel consider providing bottled mineral water for guests.

The location is perfect with walking distance to shops restaurants and MRT. The split level apartment was spacious and well appointed. Checking and checkout seamless Christine and Parthi looked after us but all the staff we interacted with were very good at their job and friendly . I called the Goodwood Park Hotel main line after hours because the Deli Shop was closed. To my complete surprise and delight, I was connected to Maya. Instead of giving me the standard "please call back tomorrow" response I half-expected, Maya listened patiently, went entirely out of her way to understand my needs, and promised to personally convey my request to the Deli Shop the following day. Having served as a corporate CEO for several decades, I can immediately spot an outstanding employee with a truly exceptional attitude. Hosted a wedding ceremony here, the food is very nice! And the restaurant manager/also our coordinator is very helpful and help out with every request requested by me and my wife. Really a good experience dining in here and also recommended if anyone who will like to host a small wedding.

The Goodwood Park Hotel is one of the best five star hotels that we have stayed in. It has a prime location off Orchard Road, five highly rated restaurants featuring Thai, Japanese, and Chinese food, the Coffee Lounge that offers a great breakfast to guests with an impressive array of choices, a cozy, bar/lounge, two beautifully landscaped swimming pools and an absolutely fabulous afternoon tea. The afternoon tea rivals the ones that I have enjoyed in England, with delicious hors d'oeuvres, large trays of exquisite petit fours and a fine selection of teas and beverages in the British tradition. Our suite of rooms was lovely, spacious, tastefully decorated, immaculately clean and large enough to provide office space for my husband, a private room for our king sized bed, a sitting area, balcony, foyer, dining room with seating for six and small kitchen. It was ideal for my husband's work needs and my comfort during our five week stay. It was supremely comfortable. What really sets the hotel apart though is the outstanding service. Mr. Jimmy Lee, the Front Office Manager, does a terrific job selecting and training the staff who are all incredibly efficient, courteous and helpful, making sure the guests have everything they need for a wonderful stay. He oversees every aspect of the guest's experience and personally intervened to place us in the exactly the right suite of rooms to accommodate our needs. He is assisted by Thomas Wong, Jason Yang, the Food Service Manager and Suresh Rajan, the assistant Room Service Manager who showered us with attention and great service. By the end of our five week stay, the hotel felt like home and the whole staff knew our names. We loved everything about the hotel. L espresso cafe is one of the few gems for high tea. my go to place when I want to unwind and chill at. Good food with good service.

It would be great if all the windows could be opened to allow the fresh air to come in during the house-keeping or before admission. The air conditioners are somehow noisy, it would be also good to consider as the noise was irritated typically during the night time. Great Breakfast!

My mother and I stayed at the Goodwood Park Hotel after an unexpected flight delay, and it turned out to be a much needed relaxing and refreshing day at Good Wood Park. From the moment we arrived, the experience was absolutely flawless. The check-in process was seamless and efficient, which we deeply appreciated after the stress of travel. Our room was a very nice —spacious, impeccably clean, and very comfortable. We also had the pleasure of dining at the hotel for breakfast, lunch, and dinner; every meal was exquisite, high-quality, and beautifully presented. However, what truly sets this hotel apart is the stellar hospitality. Every single staff member—from the welcoming doormen to the proactive concierge and the attentive restaurant team—treated us with such genuine warmth. A massive, heartfelt thank you to Jimmy, Syafiq, and Jit. They went above and beyond by noticing it was my birthday; they surprised me with a delicious cake, a candle, and even sang Happy Birthday! It was such a touching, personal gesture that turned my day around. I cannot recommend Goodwood Park Hotel highly enough. We arrived from the UK fairly early in the day and they let us check in right away which was amazing. Also didn't have a credit card so they made arrangements to accept our debit card. Helped by staff Ziyi, Faisal and Jimmy they were really friendly and very helpful. The rooms were lovely very clean and large. The breakfast was perfect with lots of choice. We recommend the cakes from their cake shop also. The hotel is situated really close to some great shopping and the subway so easy to get around Singapore from there. Overall we recommend this a great place to stay. Thank you Goodwood :)

The restaurant is tucked at one corner of Dempsey, making it uniquely strategised. The ambience is great and service is excellent - Rita has been servicing our table well. It is spacious and great for gathering.

Edith served us with another staff member. They are meticulous in ensuring we have clean plates & checking if the food is good. She also advised us on the portion so as to ensure we have sufficient for each table. We also ordered their Durian cake for my mother's birthday & it was delicious. Thank you.

This was maybe my 7th or 8th stay at this property. It reminds me of old school Singapore which only makes sense given it's been operating for decades. I like the parkland suites which are appointed with microwave, fridge and small washing machine for all those tropical wardrobe changes. The suites are split level and have plenty of room to relax or work. The Scott's road location is close to both local shopping at Far East Plaza, old school Tang's Dept store or the glitz of orchard road. Staff is great. Is s not the shiny tower hotel like orchard road but a classic

I went for my wedding staycation due to the recent feedback from Tripadvisor. They upgraded my room and surprise me with a swan and fruit basket on my wedding day. Duty Manager Kim and Sha make my check in process very smooth, Hassan and Bryan was friendly at the reception too. Suresh provide the fruit basket with fresh and good quality of fruits. I am very touched and impressed by the service provided by them. Kudos to the team. For making my stay at Goodwood Park hotel memorable. We had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, and every dish was well-prepared and full of flavor. The environment was beautiful and created a very comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere for dining. The service was excellent, and we would like to give a special thanks to Joshua. He patiently explained every dish to us in great detail and thoughtfully recommended portions based on our group size. We really appreciated that he helped us avoid over-ordering and wasting food. That level of care and consideration truly made this restaurant stand out to us. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. We will definitely come back again and highly recommend this place to others!

Had hi-tea at L'Espresso today. Pleasantly surprised that it was better than a few years ago when I was here. Food has variety and decent. I came on a Thursday and the hi-tea duration (2pm to 5.30pm) was good for a lazy way to spend the afternoon. Service by the friendly staff was also good. My only regret is the limitation on its tea and coffee beverages, which was not enough for me to laze the afternoon away. Thank you L'Espresso 🥰

Another pleasant stay (our sixth) at this very atmospheric and historic property, an institution in Singapore, and a pleasant contrast to the usual modern high-rise tower block city hotels. While conveniently located, the hotel has a delightful garden setting. Our comfortable, quiet and spacious room overlooked the pretty Balinese pool. As always, the staff were welcoming and helpful, and we enjoyed a number of the hotel's various restaurants, lounges and cafes. While our schedule didn't allow, we'd have loved to have stayed longer.

This historic hotel is human sized, in contrast to the surrounding skyscrapers. And it was the people who made our stay. The staff were unfailingly helpful with all our requests, and suggested really useful things unprompted. The front of house manager, Jimmy Lee, gave us a very late check out so that we could have a swim and a shower before going to the airport to catch our late flight.

Thomas Wong the manager went out of his way to make us comfortable in our room and gave free upgrade to a beautiful large clean room.All 3 restaurants the food of really high standard.The high tea is a buffet for 2 hours with everything from roast meat salad cakes fruits and large variety of beautiful scones. our stay was so great and friendly. Arma and Jennifer who looked after us in the beautiful restaurant could not have been more attentive and friendly.Arma cooks fantastic Crepe Suzette at your table.You won't be sorry if you holiday there.We are planning our next return to this wonderful hotel in August.The location is a huge advantage with a lovely shopping centre next door

An excellent hotel in the heart of Singapore with extremely friendly staff who are very courteous and friendly. This hotel makes you feel at home and we have experienced this time and again. The rooms are very well designed to give you a feel of home and each of them have a different ambience, which is truly unique. Recently renovated, they cater to all your needs and coupled with very friendly house-keeping and room service, make your stay comfortable and relaxing. They truly are value for money, that too in the heart of the city bordering Orchard Road. Access to and from the hotel is excellent with Public Transport (buses, MRT and cabs) easily available. Download the GRAB App (online cab booking) to make life easier. The property, despite being in the heart of the city is so well situated that you feel you are away from the hustle and bustle and the noise level is excellent and peaceful. The service at this hotel is extraordinary; right from the moment you arrive, the staff are so welcoming, friendly and go out of their way to ensure you feel comfortable. The amenities are excellent and there is always something to do for everyone. there are 2 pools which can be used by guests. Almost all the staff are excellent whether it is one of the restaurants or the hotel in general, there are a few standout worth mentioning; Mr. Aslam Ismail (Front Office Management) Ms. Shah (Front Office Management) Ms. Caroline (F&B) Ms. Melanie (F&B) Mr. Suresh (F&B) It is quite an extensive list of names, but I assure you that each one made our stay (10 days) extremely comfortable. A mention about the restaurants; Min Jiang is an excellent choice/ The breakfast and all day dining restaurant is also fantastic and of course the hotel is famous for its High Tea. If you need a hotel to stay in Central Singapore, then Goodwood Park certainly will be your home away from home.

We held our wedding banquet at Goodwood Park Hotel and it was truly one of the best decisions we made. From start to finish, the entire experience was seamless, thoughtful, and incredibly well-executed. The food was excellent—beautifully presented and, more importantly, genuinely delicious. We can't speak highly enough of Stephanie and Steven's professionalism. Every detail of the event was meticulously managed. Steven, in particular, was incredibly attentive to me as the bride. He consistently made sure I was well taken care of—whether it was ensuring I stayed hydrated or thoughtfully helping me drink water without smudging my lipstick. Overall, the team at Goodwood Park delivered beyond our expectations. We're so grateful for the care, dedication, and warmth they brought to our celebration—it made our special day all the more memorable.

I would like to commend Aslam for his helpful assistance. He guided me on a shortcut to Paragon instead of the longer route via Scotts Road, which made a significant difference to my journey. As a city guest, I truly appreciate this thoughtful gesture. I wasn't aware that I could walk through York Hotel to reach Paragon, and it saved me a great deal of time. Once again, we had the most memorable time at this splendid heritage hotel in the heart of Singapore. Everything was perfect: the spacious and beautifully decorated bedroom, the two swimming pools amidst impeccably maintained gardens, not to mention the wonderful breakfast and equally delicious afternoon tea. Above all,we would like to say thank you to all the staff for the warmest of welcomes and taking care of us throughout our stay. My husband Rémi and I would particularly like to thank Aslam, Suresh and Betty for their kindness.

A genuinely friendly staff going out of their way to assist. Late checkout arranged without bother and organised a shower to refresh prior to a midnight flight. Food and wait staff exceptional. Aslam and his team were wonderful. Highly recommend and will return. Worth more than five stars.

The Min Jiang Restaurant which I hosted a sumptuous lunch for our colleagues today has certainly left an great impression with all of them that (1) the selected menu (with kind assistance and recommendations from Ms Joonifer) is superb and everyone is happy and pleased. An oasis in downtown Singapore. A charming hotel with attentive and personal service. Front office staff was so forthcoming and welcoming. Everyone was smiling. An amazing breakfast and Suresh of F&B was so attentive and helpful. It is like home away from home. We have been going to this lovely hotel for more than 30 years and still love it. Food and Minjiang was excellent, portions adequate, Jeff was always very friendly, polite, helpful and proactive!

Taiwan porridge is better than normal as there is a new chef helming the kitchen. Staff is very attentive and friendly. Ambience is quiet and comfy. We have been patronising Coffee Lounge for the last 30 years and their bowl of porridge always warms the cockle of my heart.

Lovely colonial-style hotel. We had a fantastic pool-side room. Breakfast was a huge choice from a buffet-style spread. Staff were really friendly. Excellent location, 3 minutes walk from Orchard Street and the Metro. 10 mins walk to Newton (Metro and Hawkers stalls).

Love fhe location with so many restaurants and bars on the doorstep. Enjoy the pool and friendliness of the people working at the Hotel. This is our second visit. We will continue to stay at the Goodwood.

Great service and very relaxing.

We were here for 3 nights in March. The service was faultless. Staff went out of their way to be helpful, friendly and courteous. The hotel has a wonderful quaint vibe of old Singapore. Our large room was recently renovated to a high standard and we had a balcony overlooking the garden. There are two excellent swimming pools and a number of restaurants and shops. I would suggest one improvement - namely to have changing rooms and showers near the pool so guests don't have to rely on their rooms for these facilities. The highlight each afternoon is high tea in the lobby restaurant. The location of the hotel is super convenient for Orchard Road and the main shopping and transport links, but the hotel is tucked away off the main road so there is a real sense of tranquility. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will certainly come back to the Goodwood Park Hotel.

We had a lovely birthday celebration at the Gordon Grill. Top notch service. Food was impeccable. We had the lamb chops and wagyu steak, as well as crepes Suzette. 1000% satisfied and would heartily recommend. A fine place for a special celebration with loved ones.

I conducted thorough research before selecting the Goodwood Park Hotel. The hotel is set in a brilliant location. It's a quiet spot but convenient for shopping or visiting restaurants, bars and tourist attractions. The atmosphere of the hotel is calm but welcoming and efficient. Our room / Mayfair was superb - it was extremely spacious and luxurious with all amenities. The bed was firm, comfortable and superb fluffy pillows - like sleeping amongst the clouds. A fabulous rain and power shower too. Excellent personal service provided by all staff. After a two week holiday with our family in Vietnam we are returning for a further four night stay at this hotel. I therefore strongly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is on elevation ground so a bit of struggle to walk up, spacious room and is on the ground floor and accessible to swimming pool, nice breakfast selection and a nice birthday cake surprise from the hotel on my birthday. Very much appreciated.

Experienced enough I know that choosing a hotel within a heritage building is normally a lottery - you either will have a shabby hut (authentic though) or the property may be redesigned so that it's hard to feel any historical context (exterior apart) But what they achieved at The GoodWood Park Hotel is almost unbelievable- it's a gorgeous property, with truly long history, placed in the park, on the hill, and it offers a full scale of 5 star hotel services, so you constantly feel yourself a VIP guest in the exotic faraway land that you saw only in the movies. The renovation was done not long ago, everything inside is fresh and cozy, functional, high end technologically advanced and at the same time - keeps the vintage aesthetic- whether it's a sofa or a clay pot with a palm tree. But what I loved most of all - resort type of accommodation. To deeply appreciate it, you need to stay for at least 5 days. So you calm down completely within these gorgeous views, green park outside your window, and having 2 splendid pools at your door. It's practically hard to believe there's a bustling Orchard district down the hill, there's busy Singapore packed with tourists from all over the world. Here you'll find peace, quietness, beauty. They have a list of cafes and restaurants so you may browse from one for breakfast to another for afternoon tea and then for dinner to the bar and also there's a choice between cuisines - Thai, Japanese or Chinese. The room is spacious, well decorated, thoughtfully planned, I had a bathtub and a balcony with the garden view, it brought me so much joy to watch unseen bright feathers birds and squirrels.. One of the key features here - you'll get 6 (!!!) packs of TWG tea daily. Do you know it's the top tea brand in Singapore and did you see tourists with that bags buying TWG tea as a luxury present at a high price? You'll receive it as a gift, so great treat. There's a souvenir shop with unique and merchandise goods. What's more, you may buy their exclusive scones or other pastries- it'll be packed and served in a brand golden thermos bag, rest assured you'll bring it fresh to your loved ones. I totally fell in love with this place and its people. Hardly can you find anything of such type of accommodation in Singapore. I am lucky to be a part of the community.

My daughter and I stayed at Goodwood, recommended by family and the hotel did not disappoint . It's an elegant , understated , elegant hotel . The location of this hotel is great for exploring. It is very central and close to MRT stations and walking distance to the ION Mall. The staff on the door were amazing . The whole team and especially Parthi. He helped us with all our needs and made us feel very welcomed and looked after . Thanks to everyone who met us on a short trip to Singapore. The breakfasts at Goodwood are incredible and each day we were treated to a huge international cuisine buffet! Thanks.

The goodwoodpark is in very good Location, there are shopping malls and MRT station around the hotel . The room is on second floor which is big enough. There are two swimming pools in hotel, The breakfast is pretty good.

Always good to return to Goodwood Park. We enjoy the calm, low rise buildings and the helpful, welcoming staff. Excellent service, marvellous location, nice spacious rooms. Our favourite rooms are poolside, opening onto the main swimming pool. This visit we discovered the joys of all-day food offers of local dishes, well prepared and presented if you want something good to eat on site. Overall clean and well-maintained. Not the cheapest hotel but good value!

Really good room & the hotel is in a great location. Also, they do their best to get you into your room early if at all possible (not all plane schedules suit 3pm check-in).

We spent 5 nights here and were pleasantly surprised by the size and quality of our room. The breakfast buffet was especially suited to the British/US/Euro traveller. There are pools for those who wish to chill, but we were too busy running around the city to partake. All the staff we encountered were particularly friendly and ready to go the extra mile if asked, which I appreciate a lot.

Ideally situated near frantic Orchard Road, this is one of the best hotels in Singapore. It is not a sleek, modern steel and glass matchbox, which may not appeal to everybody, but its more traditional design works for this old style, traditional couple. Raffles, where I stayed in 1975, is more grand history, but since its renovation, it has become a destination which means tourists are queueing round the block to visit the Long Bar and have a gin sling (a very nice drink, when properly made, by the way), which, also, will not suit everybody. Goodwood Park, however, is just a lovely, comfortable traditional hotel. The Chinese restaurant, Min Jiang is sensational, the rooms large and comfortable, nice breakfast room, drinks by the pool, afternoon tea every afternoon, etc. Only criticism is that the mattress is very hard, but they would get a lot of use and a lot of fat people(!), so it needs to be hard wearing. Also, like everywhere in Singapore, the air-conditioning is put up too high. It would be more comfortable (ie no puffy coats inside(!)) if the inside temperature was about 21* or 22* rather than 16*. It would also save a vast amount of increasingly scarce energy.

I stayed at Goodwood Park Hotel as my daughter was attending the Presbyterian Community Social Services 50th Anniversary Charity Gala Dinner and had an interview with Lianhe Zaobao. We chose the hotel for convenience, but our stay turned out to be far more enjoyable than expected. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by a calm, elegant environment and genuinely warm service. The staff were consistently friendly, kind, and attentive, which made us feel very well taken care of throughout our stay. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well‑supplied with everything we needed, providing a peaceful and relaxing space after a long day of events. Although we didn't get to try the hotel's F&B outlets due to budget, the overall quality of service and hospitality left a strong positive impression on us. We truly appreciated the thoughtful touches and the professionalism shown by the team. Thumbs up to Goodwood Park Hotel! If our budget allows, we would definitely love to stay here again in the future.

Good location within walking distance of Orchard Road. An oasis if calm in this vibrant city. Large clean room however the part of the hotel I was in had external work in progress so no view. Breakfast ... good selection.

Service was prompt and diligent and every course in the set lunch was delectable, well worth the cost. I arrived in Singapore on Christmas Day at 4 am to the Hotel. The front desk staff were so alert, and the bell boy helped us with our bags willingly. The check in was so smooth and effortless and within minutes we were in our room. The room was really clean and spacious, and everything was provided. The bathroom had all the necessities needed from extra toilet paper, hairdryers, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel. The next day, we went to the L'Espresso for breakfast. The spread was amazing and there were lots to choose from. The front desk staff was also very helpful in calling for us a taxi. The whole atmosphere of the hotel was amazing. The staff were always smiling and greeting us no matter who they were and always offering to assist us in any way they could. It was in a fantastic location with great public transport and short walking distance to MRT. The noise level was great that we slept very peacefully and could not hear the next room. It was great value, and we got what we paid for. I would like to highlight certain staff. At the L'Espresso, I would like to highlight Rosnah, Betty and Hassan. For the front desk, I would like to highlight a tall gentleman (I do not know his name). The other person I would like to highlight is the Duty Manager, Mala. I had had a fall in Singapore (not at the hotel). When I returned, Mala attended to me and made sure that I was alright and provided me the accurate advice. The Food and Beverage Manager came and spoke with us when we were having a meal to ensure that all was alright. He was very informative and promoted the various dining places of the Hotel. There were also 2 swimming pools, and my partner went for a swim. I was sad to leave the hotel, but I am sure that I will be back.

Overall, the hotel was excellent, and all other hotel staff were very friendly and professional. However, there was a minor issue at the front desk. One female staff member provided very good service, while another female staff member (on the morning shift, with very long false eyelashes) appeared to be in a bad mood on both occasions when I asked questions. Her manner felt different compared to how she interacted with English-speaking guests. At check-out, she did not say “thank you” to me and simply said “it's okay” in Chinese. I also observed that she did say “thank you” to other English-speaking guests during check-out. At the very least, saying “thank you” is a basic courtesy one would expect from a five-star hotel staff member.

We had a wonderful stay at Goodwood Park Hotel. The hotel is elegant, peaceful, and very well maintained, with comfortable rooms and excellent facilities that made our stay truly relaxing. We would like to especially thank Hassan and Aslam from the reception team for their exceptional service. They kindly arranged a room upgrade to a Poolside Suite, which greatly enhanced our experience. Their professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail ensured that our stay was smooth and comfortable from start to finish. Upon arrival for company lunch, I was greeted by this gentleman at the Lobby,Aslam. He directed us to Gordon Grill and even showed us the way to the nearest gents and ladies. We are treated like a VIP. Well done Aslam. Im sure the badges on him says it all...happy holidays!!

Been to the Gordon Grill several times with my family, and it's always a very good dining experience we have had. Location is central in Orchard Road, service is excellent and ambience is appropriate. Staff are friendly and attentive. Food is always cooked very well. Value for your money in food and service. Krishnan's service is excellent. He offers good food suggestion and is always polite and friendly, making sure he checks in with us that our food is prepared satisfactorily.

Tried the food at Min Jiang - Dempsey branch. Superb meal and excellent service by Nancy Nan. Particularly liked the sichuan prawns, hot and sour soup, egg fried rice and the duck! Highly recommend the place for vibes, food and service. Will be back.

We stayed at Goodwood Park Apartments for the month of November and had a very pleasant experience. The room was comfortable, spacious, and welcoming, and the location made it easy to access many of our daily necessities. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We would also like to acknowledge the staff who assisted with our booking, especially when we experienced delays and were unable to leave as planned. Thank you Aslam, and team, also Yu Ching from housekeeping who is always so cheerful and efficient. Their support made our long stay particularly smooth and enjoyable. We would gladly return in the future.

The Goodwood Park is a property full of classic old world charm while incorporating elements of modernity. The Goodwood Park is like a grand family estate amidst the bustle of Scotts. It is a sanctuary of quiet and bliss. To top it off, the Goodwood Park is managed by a wonderful front end team comprising an elegant and competent reception staff, a dedicated and hardworking grounds staff, an attentive housekeeping staff, and a warm and welcoming floor staff. Noticeably, the Goodwood Park attracts a clientele of a good caliber. The best part: the main pool. Never crowded—perfect for lap swimming. Although I stayed at the Parklane suites, I received the full suite of Goodwood Park services. There is daily housekeeping. The Parklane suites is a charming two-floor apartment that is homely and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. The bathroom is beautiful. The washing machine in the kitchen elevates the convenience experience. A home away from home indeed.

I dined at minjiang yesterday. Ms Joonifer and her team did a great job in making the arrangements. My friends and I had a great time. Food was delicious. Will be back for more and will recommend restaurant to my friends!

I always enjoy staying at Goodwood Park Hotel. The hotel has a unique atmosphere that sets it apart, and the rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and very well maintained. The team is exceptionally friendly — they even recognized me as a frequent guest, which truly made me feel at home. Dining here is a highlight: Min Jiang serves some of the best Chinese food in Singapore, and Gordon Grill remains one of my personal favorites. Overall, it's a place that combines comfort, great service, and outstanding cuisine.

We love Goodwood Park! Such friendly, helpful and generous staff, with particular mention of Kris and Calisa, who were so kind and went out of their way to make our stay extra special. An absolutely fabulous hotel which I chose solely for its heritage and hoped the reviews were true. Even with the restoration not completed it was a pleasure to stay here. The staff were superb. I happened to mention to a staff member that I had spotted the vintage cars and he asked if I would like a have a closer look. As l am partially disabled he assisted me through the hotel so that I could see them and did not rush me in anyway. They had upgraded me when I arrived and everything was spotless and in excellent condition. The location is great as a large shopping centre is a few yards away. If you only want a seven-eleven or KFC you can find those also. To find a hotel that exceeds expections in every respect is unusual. This hotel managed it. I wish I had booked a longer stay and I will definitely stay here again

Went high tea at L'Espresso. Been a while since the last visit many years ago. Huge variety of food choices. Service was great!

Enjoyed the appetizers, salad and the steaks. Mages was great all throughout. Very attentive. Timely service. He was Kind enough to do our Crepe Suzette. Will be back.

I was staying in a serviced apartment which turned out to be more like a 2 storey little house and was spacious and lovely inside. Only 10 minutes walk to Orchard Road and Orchard MRT. Incredible service from the hotel staff. Great buffet breakfast. I have noticed travelling in the Far East that there is a lot of non-recyclable plastic. Hotels in Europe have moved to having large dispensers in bathrooms instead of having multiple small plastic bottles that are restocked daily. Again drinking water was supplied daily in small plastic bottles. Incidentally I have recently been at another high end Singaporean hotel which had a device to filter tap water and provided jugs for the fridge, and dispensers in the bathroom. Good for the environment and would probably save the hotel money too. The serviced apartment which was spacious and lovely inside but was situated in a modern rather unprepossessing block at the back of the hotel. Unfortunately you have to cross that apartment's car park, the car park of the hotel and pass the chefs having their breaks, delivery drivers and lorries in your dressing gown to get to the pool as there is nowhere to change. This wasn't pleasant. The washer/dryer in the apartment was a top-load industrial device that looked very old and took a few hours to wash. I wonder if this needs replacement with a more modern device which would be faster, use less energy and be better for the environment?

Had a great dining experience at Gordon Grill. Long-time favourite and they have always maintained the highest standards of service and quality. Even better- they encourage sharing now and will even apportion the food nicely! Will definitely go back again and again!

Their great service is what makes this hotel stand out. ​On top of that, the hotel's location is very convenient, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and public transport (MRT/bus). Despite my rather detailed requests, she remained patient and cheerful throughout, taking the initiative to find the best solutions for me. Her professionalism and warmth made me feel truly at home, and strengthened my trust and affection for this hotel — as well as my confidence and enthusiasm in recommending it to friends. I would also like to mention another excellent staff member — a middle-aged gentleman in a black suit who was working at the front desk around 1 p.m. on the 21st. He handled my inquiries with calm professionalism and efficiency. I could sense his pride and genuine passion for the hotel. I'm sorry I didn't get the chance to ask his name.

Really nice hotel. Despite external renovations, the internal hotel was calm and comfortable. Staff were friendly and attentive and room was spacious, spotless and comfortable. Great location for tourist trips or business. Only disappointment was bar closed at 21.30. Was looking forward to a quiet drink after a busy day and everything already closed.

Hotel is undergoing external renovations but no real disruption during our stay. Rooms were spacious & well laid out. Very clean & our room had a walk in shower which was appreciated. Room overlooked the main pool & you could open the window for fresh air which was something not all hotels have. Bed was a bit harder than we are use to but comfortable. Staff were very courteous & professional. Hotel is less than a 10-minute walk to Orchard MRT. Breakfast at the Coffee Lounge had good variety & staff were friendly Would stay there again. Jimmy was excellent and helpful Also his colleagues were nice. (Tricia, Nurina, Alecs). I was with kidney transplant patient and for past 14 years i visit Singapore 4 times a year. Also i book my room one night early because we land at 7am and can take rest. It was a chaos and room was not matching with the booking and we had to wait for couple of hours before Jimmy solved the issue.

We went to Min Yang Restaurant in Dempsey for lunch and tried the lobster and special dessert menu. Outstanding food and were well taken care of by Eileen who really made our trip memorable!

I've been spending a week here every year lately. I love the architectural style and interior design of Parklane — it makes me feel right at home. The service is also impeccable: unobtrusive, yet ready to assist whenever needed. It's perfect for someone like me, who seeks tranquillity amidst the bustle. I'd say this hotel is the main reason I keep coming back to Singapore year after year.

GRACE, CHARM AND SHEER CLASS I had the great pleasure to go to Singapore recently to meet my daughter there while she was travelling from Europe to the U.S. after not being there for quite sometime, 7 years I think. When I travel to Singapore I always stay at the Goodwood Park Hotel, without exception, and between 2010 and 2018 I probably stayed there at least 30 times and it always pleases. My reason for going to Singapore so many times was to teach in Singapore and I would have probably gone there at least 4 times a year for 8 years and I always stayed at the Goodwood Park Hotel after I convinced my university to let me stay there as it is not like other five-star hotels. I have taught and attended conferences with my work for more than 40 years and the Goodwood Park Hotel is my favourite hotel in the world. I have stayed at other hotels that are heritage listed or done in the local culture but in my view they don't meet the standard of the Goodwood Park Hotel. It is a heritage listed hotel with all the grace and charm of a bygone era and never disappoints from the full buffet breakfast to the generous sized rooms to the complimentary WiFi and the generous-sized swimming pools for an early morning swim. You have a choice of two swimming pools which is unusual as they are very different to each other with one pool basically at the doorstep of the bungalows which is handy if you are staying in a bungalow. It is like a private swimming pool which is really nice. Most five-star hotels have 25 to 30 stories and you spend most of your time going up and down in crowded elevators to either get to your room or to go to breakfast or to go to the pool but not with the Goodwood Park Hotel it only has 4 floors all with great access to all the amenities and facilities you need. I like that so much. It makes access to all the amenities and facilities so much easier and convenient. It is also right in the middle of all the action in Singapore, without being in the action itself and just a stones throw away from Orchard Road where all the shopping and nightlife is yet it is not noisy as it is set back from all the action on Orchard Road being located on Scotts Road. The rooms are all larger than you would get in other five-star hotels. When your young where you stay isn't as important as the city or country your going to because its all exciting but when you get to my age where you stay is more important than the city or country that your going to so staying at the Goodwood Park Hotel for me is like a holiday in itself and I will always stay there. It's a holiday in itself. One last tip, if you stay at the Goodwood Park Hotel try the Gordon's Grill. My daughter and I had a meal there and the steaks were incredible. From the hotel's front desk to the serving staff to the Bell Boys they make my stay there perfect every time. You get looked after like family. Thanks so much everyone. Hope to see you soon. Craig

SIngapore has a lot of excellent hotels. I've stayed at Raffles and Marina Bay Sands, but honestly I keep coming back to the Goodwood Park Hotel - for the price, the location, and the historic character of the hotel (same architect as the one for Raffles). Yes, it's going through renovations, but the staff's hospitality, the opportunity to take high-tea in the lobby, and the walking distance to Orchard Row will always make this hotel a viable option.

Good fine dining food at Gordon Grill. A must go restaurant. Don't forget to get the steak. The staffs are also very kind and friendly.

Just wanted to take this time to write a review about Goodwood Park Hotel. It's challenging enough to be away from home for an extended period of time but the staff of Goodwood went the extra mile to accommodate us in our travels. We were checked-in for almost a week, everything was perfect. What I wanted to write about this time is the events after our check-out date. Me and my mom wanted to find a place to have a good lunch after a rather stressful day. The Coffee Lounge was recommended to us by Alecs, one of the staffs of Goodwood, taking her word for it, we went there and it did not disappoint. Upon entering the hotel once again but this time as guests not as checked-in customers, we were greeted by familiar smiles and faces. Sir Thomas together with Faizal was there to assist us and talk to us. Indeed it felt like friends meeting again after being a part for quite some time. We then proceeded to the recommended Coffee Lounge where we ate, what now is my mom's favorite, spaghetti Bolognese together with their club sandwich. They know that my mom has diet restrictions due to her condition and this was well communicated and remembered by the servers and the staff. Indeed such details leave a lasting impression. We would also like to thank Alecs, for recommending the place, indeed it brought back the familiar feeling of being home. To the Goodwood Park Hotel Management and Staff, thank you so very much for making our stay very memorable and comfortable. The extra miles everyone took for us is greatly appreciated. Will book again the next time we visit Singapore with family and friends.

Consistently good food and good service. We ordered dim sum. Preferred table for 10, but they were all taken. Have us two take of 5 next to each other. Ordered food came relatively fast . Attentive service by Edith. Was raining when I left, and they loaned me an umbrella to get to my car. Parking is free and lots of lots

We had a wonderful family dinner with the five of us together. The food was delicious, the service warm, and the evening was filled with laughter and meaningful conversation. A truly memorable night. ❤️ Edith and Rita did a wonderful job. Amazing services made our dinner much better. Probably the best service in singapore!

Very enjoyable six night stay at Goodwood Park Hotel. High quality staff in Coffee Lounge, LE and Reception. Found the Luxury Escapes package very good value. One previous reviewer had issues accessing the extra's included, but this was not our experience. Would definitely recommend the Goodwood Park.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal.

Had a great dining experience at Min Jiang! The dim sum was great, Edith and Sammi were also very attentive and considerate.

I went to L'espresso to celebrate my friend's birthday & Lynn of The Deli was kind enough to call pastry chef to confirm if there was dairy products like milk in the cakes & durian puffs. My friend is a vegan & the cafe manager Brandon was accommodative to ask Chef in Ming Jiang restaurant to offer a plate of 3 longevity buns with 1 candle, "Happy Birthday" writing on the plate with beautiful decorations too. My friend was delighted with this extra special touch of hospitality by both Lynn & Brandon. We will definitely return for more food & accommodation. Incidentally, I have been staying for 2 weeks in Parklane Suite at Goodwood Park Hotel since 11 Aug due to renovation work in my house. Service from housekeeping, conceige & buggy transport has been impeccable which makes our staycation more comfortable & enjoyable! The hotel was very clean, and the service from all the staff was truly wonderful. What made my stay even more special was meeting Parthie—who felt like my best friend during my time here. Food is delicious. Our waiter, Joshua, service was excellent. We enjoy the food and the wonderful service. We even briefly mentioned to Joshua that we were celebrating our anniversary and he remembered it and surprised us with a dessert that the chef specially decorated for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner!

We had a birthday celebration for 6 pax and were attended to by Rita and Sammi. Sammi is very efficient and helps with the portioning of food in a swift manner. Rita was very sweet and attentive, noticing when we were sharing some dishes, and took the initiative to provide extra bowls. Further, Rita was very prompt in helping us to top up our tea and even helped to ensure that the tea quality remains thick and enjoyable. It was a very pleasant dining experience. :)

Both Ritq & Edith have been attentive and accommodating. Will visit again. Great place for business lunch. Great food.

Had a pleasant stay at Goodwood Parks Hotel. We were checked in at Room 141, it had a wonderful pool view and spacious room. The buffet is one of the best I had in a while and the choices were excellent. What made our stay truly memorable was how hospitable Alecs was and the warmth she extended to us. She is truly a valuable asset to your company. Thank you so much for the nice experience, Will return again soon!

My stay at this property was a wonderful experience. All the staff were friendly, but Kunen was especially helpful! I'd love to stay here again:)

Purchased a luxury escape package for a week stay with inclusions. Hotel is old Singapore style. Rooms are outdated technology wise but comfortable. Check in staff and general around the grounds staff excellent, unfortunately the experience with the inclusions was horrible. Inclusions were daily breakfast, daily cocktail or house wine, 1 x lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. Location - Coffee lounge - shoved in the back corner of the hotel. Breakfast - staff were not attentive. Empty juice dispensers, no coffee cups (be mindful if you like a decent coffee the mugs are the same size as a large shot glass) coffee machine needing attention, plates not cleared away causing some tables to stack them up, customers have to consistently get staff to refill, empty, re stock etc. Breakfast itself food wise was excellent - staff complete let down. Daily cocktail etc - went each night between 8pm and 10pm. 3 nights we waited 30mins plus for 2 cocktails, 1 night the waiter didn't even listen to us and served us drinks we never ordered, rest of the nights was a constant disagreement as one of the party was a non-drinker and we were advised first night in we could change it for a non-alcoholic drink. Each night had to explain it to the point we just stopped going. Lunch - 3 course meal. Waited over 30mins for course 1, another 25mins between course 1-2, had to ask the waiter to clear the table twice, after 45mins between course 2-3, we left. Got sick and tired of having to ask where our meals were. Afternoon tea - much better actually excellent. Not in the coffee lounge but main hall area. Well worth it. Dinner - mixture of Lunch and Breakfast very very poor service, long wait times between meals. Both Lunch and dinner the “lounge” was below 1/2 busy. Overall - the inclusions service let the whole trip down. The hotel is currently under construction so it can be noisey. If your want be an older style hotel it's fantastic.

Julia Chong is THE BEST!!!! Super helpful and friendly. And so so hardworking. Please hang on to her and make her happy. And ask her to teach your other staff about customer service please. And for God's sake, please start serving tap water with ice.

From the moment we entered the hotel after our 16 hour journey - we felt like we were HOME. Our room was ready, and we were whisked over to our Park Lane Split Level Studio. It was just perfect! Plenty of room to spread out for my daughter and I to have our "own" spaces! The kitchen was well stocked though only used for the daily cup of tea. Love the washing machine - we didn't realize how many clothing items we'd go through in one day with the heat and humidity. The staff throughout the hotel was friendly and pleasant. Breakfast was amazing. Everything from native Singaporean dishes to vegetarian specialties to fresh fruit and fantastic pastries! The hostess at breakfast (wish I knew her name) was always so cordial and welcoming. The pool was huge, and we only took advantage of it on our first day... but it was well maintained. I will return to Singapore - there is still so much to see and do, and I know we will return to Goodwood Park and the Park Lane Suites. Thank you for making our stay so memorable!

The food and selection was excellent and the service superb. Such an enjoyable and satisfying afternoon. We celebrated a birthday and got a lovely complimentary slice of beautifully decorated choc cake as well!

The food is excellent, so was the attentive service provided by Krishna and Jacqueline! It is defontely worth coming back again!
