Great location on main Sukhumvit road. But both Asok and Phrom Pong BTS stations are a 10 minute walk. Large well appointed rooms and bathrooms. Very clean and well maintained. Very smooth check in. Great rooftop bar. Decent breakfast. Overall value for money. Would recommend.

I would like to give a special thank you to Grace at the front desk reception. She was so helpful, kind, and wonderful. I had a few misunderstandings during my check-in, but she handled everything so easily and made the process much smoother for me. I truly appreciate her patience and excellent customer service. Thank you, Grace, for making me feel welcomed!

Let's be frank this is a functional city hotel...you pay for what you get. Clean, efficient, nice rooms and grey, very grey...the sort of clinical dull muted colours that were popular about 20 years ago. One thing shone out - and that was the gentleman by the lift who welcomed us down to breakfast (in a grey room) and was delightfully helpful upon our departure - smiling, enthusiastic service.

We stayed for 2 nights Aug 2-4 it was exactly what we were looking for. Close to the shopping mall. The girls and I got manicures the boys shopped at the mall so the location was great. I booked it for the pool and we loved that it was a super long pool it got great sun during the day. It's a bustling and busy area of Bangkok so be ready for that. The service was great all around. Mr. Wat was especially helpful when we needed to get a Bolt Car service in the morning he helped us call the car and put in the address of our destination which was all in thai. He went above and beyond and that was a great help to us.

We had an amazing experience! The hotel staff provided incredible service—they were so kind and always happy to help. Whatever we asked for, they assisted us with a big smile. It was genuinely such a pleasant experience. The hotel room was stunning and truly lacked nothing. If I could, I would have stayed for a few more days. The hotel has a crazy pool, as well as an amazing gym and spa. Above all, it was simply the service here that made our vacation. A special thanks to Tame for his incredible service!

We stayed in a suite in the 26th floor and the view was stunning. The whole suite was amazing and we enjoyed access to the executive lounge where Immy and the team where super nice hosts! Breakfast was very good as well and the hotel has a great location near Terminal 21 . Very nice roof top bar as well. Absolutely a recommendation for staying in Bangkok!

Exceptional - the hotel, room, cleanliness, pool, breakfast all outstanding and above all the club room services which we were fortunate to receive - Enzo and the team (Immy, Baiwan and Aimmy) provided great service throughout our stay. Enzo worked with the chef to cater to my daughter's nut allergy and ensured she was able to eat without worry! Tremendous - we will be back and thank you so much.

We have been visiting the Carlton since it was founded. And it is a very good hotel. There is one “but”. The hotel should be careful not to succumb to its succes. We had a Club room with access to the lounge. What, in my mind, doesn't match with the exclusivity of lounge access is the fact that people were sitting there eating their bags full of (pretty smelly) Mc Donalds food. Also, during breakfast people with unappropriate attire for such an event (bikini top) were seen. To my mind, paying a not low tariff for a room for a 5 star hotel, this is not matching. And I fully agree that the hotel cannot influence clothing choices, but still; this is not what i expect to see in a 5 star hotel. Every year we were here, an evening turn down service for the room was provided. After 2 nights we asked why it wasn't provided this year. We were told it had to be asked…well, to my mind the order should be to be asked if the service wasn't wanted. Not the other way around. Last note of constructive feedback: when a deposit is given for the room, it should be deducted from the amount that should be paid in total. And not charged for a second time on your card because this means a double (!) amount is reserved on the card for several days/a week. We will come back next year to hopefully see a difference.

Choosing to spend the week leading up to my birthday at the Carlton Hotel in Bangkok was absolutely the right decision. The location was perfect! It gave us easy access to attractions, shopping, dining, and the vibrant food markets, while still allowing us the freedom to explore on our own. The atmosphere of the hotel was incredible, and the room exceeded every expectation: spacious, modern, spotless, and genuinely welcoming. It was exceptional value for money. What truly made the stay memorable, however, was the staff. They were warm, friendly, and consistently provided outstanding service, anticipating our needs before we even voiced them. I was especially touched by the surprise birthday amenity and the beautiful birthday card- such a thoughtful gesture that meant a lot. This was my second stay at this hotel and I love it! All the staff are so friendly and accommodating from start to finish. The rooms are immaculate, spacious, and modern. The breakfast is a spectacular experience with a wide variety to suit all tastes and preferences. Also, the hotel is well situated and within walking distance to several restaurants, malls, and public transport links.

I had the best experience at this hotel for the second year in a row. They were very welcoming and accommodating! They even decorated our bed to welcome us here as I was celebrating my birthday. The staff had excellent customer service and the breakfast was amazing. Their pool was also very relaxing and very enjoyable after a long day of shopping. The room itself was spacious, clean and had everything you needed. The view was also so beautiful from our room. It is also close by to a 7/11, Emsphere and the bts. I will definitely be coming back.

I have stayed in this hotel many times before. It's located very close to the BTS station, Thong Lor. The room, bathroom and the linens were very clean and comfortable. The room had a very nice, beautiful view with a lot of light and sunlight, which made me feel happy The staff members, especially Gig, Reya, Fit, have been very helpful and supportive I hope the management will keep up the good job

This hotel has amazing location- right on Sukhumvit Road - 5 minutes walk from Asok Skytrain station. Right in the downtown. All major shopping malls are nearby. Rooms are very well maintained. Hotel staff is very professional and polite. Breakfast buffet is very diverse including Asian, Continental and Indian food with live counters. Rooftop bar gives a stunning view of Bangkok skyline. Good for family as they have a nice kids play zone near pool. Pool has a small pool area for very young kids and the main pool has even depth of 3.50 feet, which makes it suitable for children. It has a very well equipped fitness centre and nice spa near pool. Our family stay was very comfortable and enjoyable at this hotel.

Enjoy my stay in Carlton for a week. Resturant manager Kawin Ongmali and his assistance Kate and Khao was friendly and attentive. Greet us every morning and offer to serve us drink and fruit.

Short version for non yappers: - Great room with city view with good cleaning service (albeit hearing the doors close and the vacuum cleaner in the corridor) - Helpful, kindhearted smiling people from concierge, lobby staff, breakfast staff and cleaning team - Varied breakfast with various cuisine options - Well positioned for the party nightlife areas - Further away from old town and the main riverside but easy access to BTS Detailed version: 1. Room I stayed a total of 53 days from April to June at Carlton in an King bedroom with a great city view and the service was outstanding. The room was kept clean everyday by very respectful cleaning staff and they even took the space to provide me with more water bottles as I drink a lot. The room had everything from the mini fridge, kettle, 2 glasses, hair dryer, osmeosis filtered glass water bottles, ironing board while the bathroom had all the utilities for shaving, soap, hair cap, toothbrush kit. The bathroom has a bathtub and a shower with loads of space where you can either use the raining head or the movable shower head while the toilet is one of those Japanese toilets with loads of options; pretty cool even though it can be weird at first. 2. Staff + Logistics The staff is filled with helpful and smiling people that take the time to recommend places, help you navigate through the city and understand the culture and ways of Thai people. Be sure to have a chat with Phun that is part of the carrier team if you need anything from suggestions to help getting a cab. Albeit a bit pricy if you tend to continuously extend you stay by asking the reception, the services are always on point (I recommend you booking a new reservation online through their partner/affiliate program sites or the Carlton website for the best rates). I'd like to state a personal thank you to Frame, Boom and Gift from the reception for their incredible helpfulness in sorting out my stay, arranging me to keep the same room following my numerous extensions while also making sure everything was aligned with the various invoices for the stay. 3. Breakfast The breakfast was great ! Various choices ranging from Indian, Chinese food and of course Thai food while being able to order "à la carte" dishes if needed. The service was incredible with the whole team working together and always making sure everything was in order if you needed anything. Staying that long I ended up creating some close connections and was even greeted by my usual morning thai tea as the staff took the time to note my preferences ! A grateful thanks to the whole time including but not limited to Khao, Kate, Nina and Kewin for their incredible energy and kindhertness. 4. Restaurants - Plate: great for breakfast and pretty decent options + good tast for diner, didn't have lunch there - Cantonese restaurant: didn't go - Top bar: nice view but a bit expensive albeit the drinks being pretty good - Closeby: good restaurants closely at 15ish mins (on foot) away that are pretty varied, cheap and good proposing cuisine ranging from Japanese to continental. There's also Emsphere and Embassy malls close by which have the food courts and restaurants. Korean barbecue zone is 10ish mins away if you're into that as well 5. Facilities - Gym: didn't go but it's there - Pool: decent shading in the afternoon if you wanna do some skin color changing - Juice bar: available close to the pool area - Private lounge for premium members: Sick view, lots of options but only had a little visit there 6. Shopping around - Malls withing 30mins of walking: Terminal 21, Central w0rld, Siam paragon, Emsphere, Embassy, Tower - Various smaller day/night markets - 7-11 + Marko Basically lots of shops for utilities around. If you want fashion clothes, it's there, quick clothes because you didn't pack enough as you need to change 2/3 times per day due to the heat ? It's there. Hungry at 1am? Restaurants and 7-11 is there. 7. Lobby - Great lobby to sit around, have a talk, chill under the AC and wait while your room is getting cleaned - Cafe area: in the lobby there's a Cafe bar which has some good options and it's pretty good - Smoking area: a small smoking area with chairs outside the lobby / café bar

From check in to check out, my experience at Carlton was top notch. The front desk staff were very pleasant and courteous and took great care of me. Honorable mention to Ball, one of the staff in the lobby who would greet me daily with a smile and took initiative to offer help when needed. The room was what you'd expect from a 5 star, spacious, modern and well appointed. Location was excellent, a short walk to both the MRT and BTS. Also, plenty of food carts in the surrounding streets for a quick noodle breakfast for under a couple bucks. Would 1000000% stay here again and plan to on my next trip to BKK.

Randomly found this place by incident but the service and everything was amazing. The service from Khun Junive (June) was superb. She explained cocktails and promotion very well, not even her but everyone in this Bar was attentive as well.

High price but you get what you pay for. Best hotel I've ever stayed at. Conveniently located, great fitness and pool facilities, restaurants in the hotel are good too. Staff is always attentive and have a great attitude. The coffee shop in the lobby is great, sometimes I stop in their lobby coffee shop even when I'm not a guest in the hotel.

*Great stay in Bangkok - special shoutout to Tik!* Carlon Hotel is a fantastic place to stay if you're in Bangkok. The location is convenient, rooms are clean and comfortable, and the overall vibe makes you feel really welcome. Special mention has to go to Tik from the buffet services. Tik was absolutely exceptional - went out of her way to help me with my dietary requirements and made sure I had great options at every meal. She even prepared my coffee with coconut milk every morning and it was amazing. That kind of personal care really made my stay. Would definitely recommend Carlon and I'll be back next time I'm in the city. Thanks again to the whole team, especially Tik and the morning team at the buffet ❤️

This hotel is absolutely incredible. Every detail like the bell hops helping with bags to the breakfast service was astounding. The rooms are clean and fresh and the facilities are new and well maintained. Overall I could not say anything bad about this hotel. Its perfect. The breakfast options are especially worth it. I highly recommend you book with breakfast included and enjoy their amazing selection at the buffet. Our server Zeenan was polite, professional and overall outstanding. Another wonderful stay ❤️! This is our second stay at the Carlton and we would never stay anywhere else! The warm welcome, high standards and customer service is to be noted. The rooms are sound proofed, bed extremely comfortable and furnishings are luxury standard. We stayed on floor 26 and the city views were breathtaking. The breakfasts were one of the best we have had when travelling, nothing too much trouble. We will be back in 2027 for sure ❤️

A great experience even after my stay. But lets start from the beginning, when you enter the carlton you are welcomed by a cool breeze, which is necessarily needed in hot bangkok. After that the you‘ll receive a heartwarming welcome by the concierge service who take care of you. The rooms are spacious and tidy and at you have a breathtaking view over the city. The room service is helpful and makes sure that you have plenty of water and that your room always looks tidy and neat. Besides the room you have a pool with a great outdoor area and a gym with everything you need to get some calories off. Talking about calories, the breakfast every morning is great. It offers something for everyone and even has changing (egg) specials and soups. After my stay i unfortunately forgot my glasses in the bathroom and after a short message they were not just able to secure it but also offered me plenty of options to retrieve it. At the carlton the service was excellent and the stay wonderful.

This hotel was fantastic and a good price. I recommend the upgrade to the lounge access room. The breakfast is great. The rooftop bar has awesome views, drinks and food and is all reasonably priced. The entire hotel is made of top quality materials and finishes (even outside). The staff is all really helpful and kind. Kook who worked by the front door is a late night hero and friendly face. He knows what you need before you ask.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Carlton Hotel Bangkok Sukhumvit at the beginning of our Thailand holiday. After arriving late in Bangkok, the hotel was a comfortable and welcoming place to recover from our flight and adjust to the pace of the city. The staff were friendly and professional throughout our stay, and the hotel felt modern, clean and well maintained. Our Executive King Room was spacious and comfortable, with great city views. We also enjoyed the rooftop bar on our first evening, which was a lovely introduction to Bangkok at night. The location was excellent, with easy access to nearby restaurants, shopping centres and the BTS. Overall, we found the Carlton to be a great balance of comfort, service and location, and it was an excellent way to begin our holiday.

We stayed here for 4 nights in one of the club level rooms. The view was truly amazing as was the spacious, clean, modern room. We especially enjoyed the club lounge happy hour! The drinks were so nice and the food was so good too. A special thanks to the staff in the lounge for their amazing service! Immy, Baiwan, Aim, Enso, and Prae were all so professional and kind! They remembered us when we came to use the lounge and they had great vibes that made the atmosphere feel so elegant and upscale. I can't give these employees enough praise! We would definitely stay at this hotel if in Bangkok again! Thank you staff for your hospitality and professionalism!

1st visit to Bangkok & BLOWN AWAY by the Carlton Hotel. This is the only hotel I will book when I return Service/Value - 5 star treatment from start to finish. From the front desk to housekeeping, I was always greeted with a smile and staff were eager to help. The breakfast and rooftop bar dining were exceptional with many food options. The breakfast buffet was the best I've had at hotel, worth more than what I paid. The rooftop restaurant was surprisingly very good with breathtaking views of the city. Perfect location - mall, nightlife, numerous dining options & street food, spa treatments, Starbucks & so much more within very short walking distance. Stayed here for 5 nights and didn't leave area much because there is so much to do by this hotel. Cleanliness/Rooms- room was very clean, fresh smell, provided with robe and many other amenities. Room looks like photos advertised. Hotel grounds have modern feel and well maintained.

This is my second time staying at this hotel, and once again, it exceeded my expectations. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the Asoke area, making it very convenient for getting around the city. The atmosphere is wonderful, with excellent facilities including a well-equipped gym, a beautiful swimming pool, and a relaxing spa. My room was spotless, very comfortable, and impressively quiet, allowing for a peaceful stay. The service has always been outstanding. The staff are consistently friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making guests feel truly valued. A special highlight is the breakfast, there is a wide variety of international dishes, all delicious and thoughtfully prepared. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bangkok. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My experience at the Carlton was absolutely phenomenal! My first time in Thailand was made so much better than I could have imagined because of this hotel and the incredible people working here. The location is very central, right in the middle of lots of excitement with 2 malls, lots of bars, restaurants, nightlife, and the train in walking distance. The soundproofing in the room means you hear zero hustle and bustle, and the room itself had every amenity. Spa tub, walk in shower, a bed like a cloud, and a great internet connection if you need to do work. Room service, poolside drinks, and the breakfast buffet are absolutely delicious. The staff are what really took it from a nice hotel to a first class experience. They genuinely care about their guests and it shows. The front desk and bellmen are a wealth of information about any challenges that may arise, and will happily point you in the right direction and help with taxis. Housekeeping and room service even gave me a lovely birthday surprise in my room! (Hubby was emphatic that he did not arrange the birthday cake and rose petals.) I will absolutely be staying at the Carlton every time I visit Bangkok and would recommend them to anyone, especially if they are nervous about traveling the way I was.

Enjoyed every moment of my stay in the hotel. Everything was perfect. Had a very pleasant experience of working long hours in the lounge - the staff (Immy, Nene, Wan, Aim, Somo, Sisi) are very welcoming and able to find the perfect balance of hospitality, friendliness and unobtrusiveness. Thanks for the great Thai-style cocktails during the happy hour. The room is just great - everything I needed was in place and working properly.

Mr. Phun our door man was really helpful. He is always asking what is the plan for the day and help you what to do around our area. From food to shopping and places to visit. Good guest service over all. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
