Best Western Plus Waynesboro Inn & Suites Conference Center

First time we try this location but overall was an excellent service experience. The cleanliness, comfortness in the room and smoke free is guaranteed. Is our home away from home. Convenient location close to highways and great breakfast service as you only do.

The name says it all Best Western Plus. This place had a lot of amenities included in the stay. I stayed during the weekday and asked about pricing. I found a king room for cheap and took advantage of it. They gave me the WiFi password to connect to and also had an indoor pool and fitness center free to use. The staff was super amazing and very friendly even helped with any issues I had throughout my stay.

We stayed with a large group from our school. The rooms were clean and comfy. The boys loved having the pool and the parents enjoyed sitting and chatting with each other in the lobby. The front desk staff were kind, patient and helpful. I would high recommend staying here for any of your needs in or around Waynesboro.

I've stayed here a couple of times and each tune was perfect. Breakfast is great, rooms are pristine and comfortable, and it's very conveniently located. The Fishin Pig is also a great bar and restaurant located across the parking lot which is a very nice bonus!!!

They messed up my reservation before I checked in, had to clear that up. They tried to cancel my keys to get into my room and I had one more night to stay, I was told they forgot I had another night. I was charged for six other peoples' rooms and told the credit would take about a week to go back on my credit card. I was charged for amenities I never used. I stayed four nights and never got any clean towels and had to beg for more toilet paper. The room was not clean, as I was scared to walk on the floor with my bare feet. The staff was not professional at all. They didn't seem to understand how to print the bill off on paper when I asked for a bill print out. Oh yes, I was itching for days after staying there. It makes my stomach turn thinking what was on the sheets that made me itch.

The hotel seemed a bit dated but overall it was clean and comfortable. Some repairs may be needed in the rooms but they were still nice. It was nice to be able to take our dog with us. Would stay there again.

This hotel staff is beyond rude, unhelpful, and border line insane. They refused to correct a problem they created and instead overcharged my party and made us pay twice. Find another hotel in the area to stay at- and save yourself the hassle.

Not sure when best western became a low end hotel, this hotel felt like an econolodge or similar. I paid more to stay here than I would have at the econolodge across the street thinking the quality of my stay would be better. Boy was that a misjudgment!! First check in Was quick and easy, but went downhill fast after that. First when we got to the room it had an odd perfumie odor and not in a good way. Seemed like it was masking another more urine like odor. There was a wedding party at this location and they were loud until very late. I know that isn't necessarily the hotels fault but I think when they have an event like that they should keep those guests together away from the other paying guests. Also whenever someone shut a door, which was often, the walls shook, like a very cheap hotel. Getting ready for bed after taking my shoes off I noticed the carpet felt damp. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were terrible. The ac unit cycled on and off about every 10-15 minutes which is expected on an extremely hot day but it was so loud that every time it came on it woke me up and there was no bathroom fan to help drown it out. Speaking of the bathroom it was not a very nice one. The tub was much higher than the floor so when I stepped out of the shower I about busted my head on the sink. told my husband who said he did the same thing. Over all this was a terrible place to stay, the ONLY thing it has going for it is the restaurant next door that had the most delicious bbq I've ever had!!!

This hotel is past it's prime. It needs a major upgrade. The rooms were not very clean and the strong chemical smell from the cleaning products was bad. The staff were friendly and helpful but the floors in the room felt sticky and overall the room did not feel clean. The bed sheet was coming apart too.

We stayed here while visiting family. The location was so convenient & close to shopping & dining. Our room was clean and the bed & pillows very comfortable. Staff were friendly yet professional. The entrance & lobby were very inviting.

I was honestly surprised at how nice this hotel was. Very clean and the beds were comfy. Some things needed to be updated but it didn't affect the stay. I recommend this hotel. It's also within walking distance of some restaurants which made it nice .

I would not stay here again. The only good thing I can say about this particular Best Western is that the staff is wonderful. My husband and I stayed for three nights. We were attending our daughter's graduation. We stayed in the King suite. The bathroom was a disaster. The tub was higher than the bathroom floor. It was so high that we had to duck to get under the shower head. It was also so slippery that I only took one shower. I was so afraid I was going to slip and fall. The breakfast the first day was okay scrambled eggs and sausage but only white bread or white bagels. The next two breakfasts not good at all - dried up fried eggs and same white toast offerings. My husband thinks the eggs the third day were left over from the day before. The only fruit offering were apples that did not look fresh. The cereal choice was chex or cheerios. This breakfast was not even close to a normal Best Western. Best Westerns are typically our first hotel choice and up until now our Best Western stays have been wonderful. I contacted management about these issues and was only offered to give them another chance. We spent close to $800.00 for this disaster. I had hoped Best Western would have offered some sort of compensation but they did not.

One of the reasons why I chose this hotel was because it had a fitness center. I'm dismayed to report that the fitness center had five pieces of equipment to use - Two of which were broken and not usable, two ellipticals, and a treadmill that's belt slipped terribly and I'm pretty sure was old enough to drink if it could make it's way to a bar - at the very least it wouldn't have been carded. The included breakfast was okay, there were warm protein options (typically either sausage or bacon and eggs) and a waffle station. I could have wished for real butter, but they only had margarine. Housekeeping should probably take the vacuum hose to the crevices of the carpet/wall more frequently, although the staff *was* good about giving me towels when I requested them (I opted not to have daily cleaning, and just took the towels). The desk folks were not particularly helpful when it came to information about the local area, which was unfortunate because I was hoping for a local recommendation or two. It was also pretty disappointing that there were literally *no* glasses in the entire hotel. I had picked up a bottle of wine to enjoy one evening of my stay and the only cups available were either plastic or paper. Not just no wine glasses, but no glasses of any kind whatsoever. Not even a coffee mug. I don't consider myself particularly precious when it comes to hotels, so All in all it was a relatively inoffensive place to spend a couple of days at. But given the flaws noted, I would probably not stay here again if I were in the area.

All was good or great! No complaints at all. Will definitely make Best Western Waynesboro my half way stop to destination! Tasteful decor, a fine bed, cats allowed, good vending choices, good continental breakfast choices.

The manager and her team have poor customer service, unable to problem solve, no listening skills. Will not take responsibility for errors made by there staff. I would not recommend this location for groups.

Hotel is OK, if you need a basic room and stay then should be fine. Staff does a good job. Hotel is dated and could stand a re-fresh. Breakfast is a little above average; has most amenities you need. Again, for a basic overnight place to get some shut eye and move on.

We had a 3 night stay recently. The hotel was clean and comfortable. the location is excellent with many food and shopping options around it. It is very covenant to the highway. We only grabbed some granola bars for the road a few mornings as we ate at the Cracker Barrel next door a few times. It look like a decent hotel breakfast though. Check in and out were both quick. The housekeeping policy was explained to us as it was on request only. We did pick up a few extra towels at the desk one day. They could probably supply more than 2, but it was fine. The pillows were mediocre, even though they have multiple options on the king size bed. The mattress was just ok. A bit stiff, but not uncomfortable that I didn't sleep. There was a bit of tossing and turning between the two of us. The Heat/AC worked good and the TV was fine. The bathroom was large. The refrigerator actually worked too good and it froze 2 bottles of water. That's rare. Usually the fridge in a hotel like this barely works. There was a tween beauty pageant going on the weekend we were there, so the girls were a little loud in the halls at times, but we were warned when we checked in and was told that if there was any noise issues to let the front desk know. It was a good stay and I would recommend the hotel.

This hotel is in a great location. There are several eating options within walking distance and a super WalMart. We checked in 10/13 and checked out 10/16 after visiting our son who attends FMS. There was no hot water during our entire stay. When my husband checked out, he told Brittany at the front desk about the water situation. She responded “you're the first one whose mentioned that.” Her tone was rude. I was very disappointed with her response. I had been sitting in the lobby area about an hour before my family came down to check out. During that time, at least two other guests independently mentioned the hot water issue. To them she responded, “ I will be sure to let management know.” When my husband mentioned it without any knowledge of the previous guests' experience, Brittany said “You're the first one whose mentioned that.” I didn't want to make a scene so I approached the front counter to join my husband. As I was approaching , he asked for a printed receipt. She told him that since he booked through a third party a receipt wasn't available. He explained that we booked at the front desk when we checked out last month . . . When I arrived at the counter I told him ( with the intent that Brittany and her coworker would hear), “I don't know why she responded to you in that way when other guests have said the same thing about the hot water.” Brittany then said, “I'm sorry but I only heard that from one other guest.” (I am not sure if she actually heard herself.) I told her “ I don't like the way you dismissed and misrepresented his concern.” To shorten this story, Brittany provided us with a printed receipt and we did not book our next scheduled visit to see our son with that hotel. The management really needs to engage in more training of its staff, because it is sometimes hard to determine between a general lack of professionalism/ integrity and bias behavior. Finally, room 303 had no hot water for three nights and it was during one of their most expensive weekend rates of the year! Baker

The bed was very comfy. We stayed one night and was charged way too much. The front desk called us at 11:10 am on Saturday morning to tell us that check out was at 11:00. We told them the truth that we loaded up a cart and we're on our way out. Breakfast options were good.

A nice clean lobby and breakfast area !!! The rooms where very clean and nice ,refrigerator, microwave and a nice size tv .Bathrooms also clean . We had a small dog and the outside area was good size and all the people where friendly. Ample parking and a couple close restaurants.

There are two family restaurants are very close to this hotel. No need to drive out to for a restaurant, easy parking, good location to get out to shopping center or go on main road. The inside pool are great, three feet to five feet, nice and clean. Ask for the beach towel at the front desk.

The Best Western Plus in Waynesboro, VA gets a 5 star rating in all areas. The staff are friendly and helpful, the facility and suite are immaculate, and the atmosphere is tops. There is really nothing to complain about.

Have been using this place for a few times now. I like to break up the drive from Louisville area to Richmond area and so stop in Charleston, WVa, as well. Really like the small town vibe of Waynesboro and take time to catch a few sites such as the railroad tunnel each time. The motel itself is fairly new and so in good shape, clean and well maintained. Fairly pricey though. Last stay the breakfast buffet was great but found it lacking this time. If you stay and like BBQ, the Fishin' Pig is the place to go.

The Best Western Plus in Waynesboro, VA was a convenient location for our various activities. The motel staff was friendly and accommodating. The room and common areas were very clean. Breakfast was great. Our granddaughter loved tge indoor pool.

This is a standard Best Western experience. Well maintained property, friendly staff, nice room. It's an older property and is starting to show its age in the common areas. The room cleaning could be more thorough -- the corners of the room were a little dirty. Overall, it met our expectations and we'd stay here again.

Everyone in this hotel was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and the rooms were very clean. My kids enjoyed playing in the pool! We will stay here again! It's proximity to restaurants and local shopping was a plus! We will stay here again!

We booked this for one night on our way to Shenandoah National park, it met our needs perfectly. Good reception staff, clean room with all working facilities and excellent breakfast the next day. Couldn't fault it and it happens to be next door to the best restaurant in town, what's not to like?

We booked our stay here specifically for the pool. Online it never states the pool closed at any certain hours as it does for all other amenities. When I spoke to Brittany at the service desk about this she was very rude and not helpful what so ever and when I asked to speak to her manager she refused that also!

The Best Western Plus is a decent option for a stay in Waynesboro. The room featured a fridge, microwave, HD TV with lots of channels and free Wi-Fi. A major downside was the walls – they are paper-thin, even by hotel standards. The complimentary breakfast was good and included eggs, bacon, sausage patties, cereal, oatmeal, waffles, bread, yoghurt, bananas and apples.

Totally disappointed! Upon arrival I was advised that I reserved 2 rooms.NOT!! Why, when there were only 4 of us! NO refund..but we will try to sell your room.... Call the main office. NO REFUND! NOW having to go thru my CC company to dispute the charge. Upon our return from our trip elevator is out of order and some patron in the lobby states they found condoms in their ice bucket. Will not stop till we are refunded and will NEVER patronize a Best Western again. Please Beware...

This dump had LOUD music from the Conference Center reverberating and echoing thru the rooms for hours during Saturday evening. At 10:30 I called front desk asking what the heck was going on as the loud sounds were very disturbing. I was told nothing could be done as there was a group meeting going on and they had a contract permitting them to conitinue this jarring sound until “midnight.” Unbelievable! No sense in me berating a front desk clerk about room guests having contracts too or about a conference contract not being permission to play such loud music. Highly recommend avoiding this hotel.

The stay was very good, we were there for only one night. The accommodations were adequate for our needs, the staff was friendly and helpful. I have stayed here on at least three other occasions and have never had any problems.

I booked this hotel based on some reviews I read online but wish I hadn't. When we got to the hotel, the lobby was decent. However, our room was another story. There was paint peeling from the ceiling, stains on the walls, and mold in the bathroom. There were stains on the pillow cases and the bed linens appeared dirty, and there were crumbs, etc on the carpet. It was apparent our room had not been cleaned. The pool area was old and outdated. It appeared as though it hadn't been cleaned in some time. There was rust on the stairs and handles leading into the pool. The pool ladder was wobbly and unsafe. The pool appeared cloudy. There was gross stuff in the pool as well as gross items on the perimeter of the pool, food pieces, weird paper scraps. The pool is extremely outdated as is the entirety of the building itself. The ceiling is also peeling in the pool area. Everything was just gross. We were so disgusted, that we maybe lasted 20 minutes and checked out shortly after we checked in. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Absolutely disgusting. The hotel needs an overhaul and needs to be cleaned and updated. So disappointed.

Our room was ready upon arrival, hotel was quiet and clean, room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Trip was for business but the family and our small dog was along with us. Breakfast was adequate to start our day. Overall great experience, will stay again if in the area.

On our roadtrip way back to DC we had a reservation with BW months ago. Good location for Shenandoah NP and Blue Ridge Parkway. The room design was not good for 2 queen beds. One against the wall. We noticed in the bathroom mold on the wallpaper and peeling off. Ceiling is low, not recommended for tall people. Needs attention in room 318. Don't know if all rooms are having a problem? Friendly helpful staff.

Stayed at this hotel Dec 18. Nice room,clean, but breakfast was not great at all. Didn't expect that much but front desk proudly boasted about the quality of the food upon check in. No eggs, bacon extremely over cooked. No forks. You could make a waffle but they didn't have any plates big enough to put the waffle on.

Traveling in the area, we were able to get a room in the early evening without a reservation (in November - that might make a difference). It was very nice - clean, well-decorated, comfy and the staff was friendly and efficient. All at a reasonable price. Breakfast included hot and cold options.

Nice hotel for $90 to $110 but way overpriced at $200+ dollars a night will really try harder to find something cheaper or more luxurious next time. Was clean and staff was nice just not worth the money

We were given 2 queen beds jammed up against the walls so one of had to climb over the other to get out in the night. Manager couldn't have cared less when we brought this to his attention. Lousy customer service on his part.

Room reservation was not honored. Asked for King Suite and was placed in king handicap without any notice to the reservation. Only explanation was that weekend guests were being honored in their reservations so though a King Suite would be available for Wed and Thur nights the Friday's were not available. Advertised indoor poor was in fact not heated.

This is our hotel choice when traveling south through Virginia. Clean and spacious rooms. Also its close to interstate and restaurants. Breakfast buffet offers a good variety of options. Comfortable beds.

Good breakfast & great customer service. Highly rec. My husband is used to stay at high-end hotels and still was very satisfied with BW. I would definitely choose BW hotels for my next travels. It's so clean that you feel comfortable eating in the hotel room and lounge around relaxing. Very reasonable price for what you get in return.

We stayed here for one night after a long day in Shenandoah National park. Great place, clean and quiet room on the second floor. Very good location, about 10 min from the park. My wife spent more than one hour in the heated pool, that seemed to belong to her. Hot breakfast in the morning was just what we needed before going to Richmond. We'll definitely stay here again when we're back in Virginia.

I had a King room on the first floor. Spacious and clean. Even though I was on the first floor, the hotel was nice and quiet and I slept wonderfully! Would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to the area.

Excellent hotel located close to the interstate but very quiet. Rooms are large and very clean. Hotel staff was very helpful and polite. Hotel has an indoor pool and a complimentary breakfast that was great every morning. Plenty of parking on site. Lots of great places to dine at just minutes away. I will definitely stay here again when i am in the area!

The ladies at desk were best we dealt with and everything was clean on our 10 day trip. Would stay here anytime I am close in area.The breakfast was great and had good selection. The women at desk signed me up for discounts that others never told me about.

Spent a night here on our road trip north. The hotel is in a great location, just a few minutes off the highway. There are lots of choices for food around. The hotel overall is clean and everyone is very courteous and helpful. The room is a good size for two and clean. The bathroom was a bit small but overall the room is great. The beds are very comfy and the bedding smells clean and fresh. Hot breakfast is served along with your cereals and fruit choices. A great stay for us.

Excellent basis to enjoy Shenandoah National Park as well as being a great stop between Florida and NE/ Canada. Great location with good restaurants at walking distance. Nice and clean hotel with immaculate bath and bedroom and all the amenities you want to find on the roads.

The rooms at this property were clean and well maintained. The lady at the front desk the evening we arrived was very helpful and professional. This property has not returned to a traditional breakfast format yet - the quality of the sandwiches was ok but not great. We would definitely stay at this property again if we return to the area.

With hotels not really operating at full capacity I would have expected this hotel to be cleaner. Lots of dust and dirt in the room. Internal stairs were disgusting. Would have expected more from a Best Western Plus. Location was good, staff was friendly. Not all guests followed Covid restrictions with regard to wearing masks (in the breakfast room, walking through lobby, etc.).

Stayed before and will continue to stay here when in the area. Clean, comfortable, spacious rooms with frig and microwave. You can walk next door to a Cracker Barrell. They did not have a regular breakfast set up due to COVID restrictions but did provide brown bag breakfast with your choice of many items including sausage biscuits, yogurt, fruit, cereal, granola bars, muffins, juice, and coffee. Pleasantly surprised since other places we have stayed only had pre-made bags of water and muffins. Our go to place when visiting Wintergreen.

Excellent stay, very comfortable and loved that our fur babies were welcome. The Covid restrictions were clearly posted and even though we had to have a "bag" breakfast, it was still fresh and good! Loved the TV

I am a nurse at the VA in Charlottesville and it was very nice to be able to go there and stay and just relax enjoy the nice hot bath tub the amenities that are given at Best Western in friendly staff it was very rewarding

Very happy with my stay at this hotel. Have used it several times and will continue to use this facility when I travel to Virginia' Very accommodating when traveling with pets as well. Nice area for walking your dogs when needed.

This hotel is only 10 minutes from the South Entrance to Shenandoah National Park and relatively close to Civil War Attractions. Easy access from the highway with plenty of dining options available. Would recommend highly.

Very pleased with the hotel as well as the staff. Nice place to stay especially will your pet. Staff is very kind and pleasant as well as helpful even during this time. Rooms are very nice and are decent sized. Beds are comfortable and makes for a great nights sleep.

Neither the front desk staff nor the house keeping staff properly used PPE during the pandemic. I understand it's completely annoying to wear a mask all the time but I am required to do it at my job because it protects others as well as yourself. I assumed that since Best Western says they have class leading cleanliness in mind they would at least adhere their staff to the basics of using PPE during Covid. That was not the case and there should be a mandatory temporary shutdown of this facility so they can retrain the entire staff. People are counting on essential workers to do the right thing and sadly this location drops the ball at every level.

Front desk employees are courteous and friendly. The beds were very comfortable. Due to COVID-19, we got to-go bags of fruits, snack, water which was nice in lieu of the breakfast buffet. I recommend staying here if you're going to start or end your travels on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Husband and I stayed here, the king suite was perfect. Enjoyed the restaurant next door and had a fabulous time. Will definitely stay again. Staff was great, quiet and clean. The price was very affordable and I am all about a bargain! Definitely got my money's worth

I travel the Interstate 81 corridor often and Staunton, VA is one of my usual stops to rest for the night after 12 hours of driving from New England. After hearing about the town of Waynesboro, just east of Staunton, I decided to use that as my stopping point and stayed at the Best Western Plus. I have come to enjoy the Best Western Plus chain because of the free, hearty, hot breakfast served each morning. This Best Western was less than 15 minutes off the interstate, which is not too bad when you need a nice, comfortable, and safe place to stay after driving all day. The parking lot was packed, so make sure to book ahead if you can. The greatest asset of this Best Western Plus is that it sits right next to a wonderful restaurant, The Fishin' Pig, which is walkable. The hotel room was clean, the front desk attendants were pleasant, and the beds were pretty comfortable. I can't remember if the WiFi was functional but sometimes that can be hit or miss in any hotel. Overall I would definitely stay here again and I would recommend it to any travel-weary person in need of a good night's rest.

Located close to a lot of restaurants, some within walking distance and shopping. I found the room clean though housekeeping could have done a better job restocking used items in the room. The breakfast offering were well above the standard pastries and coffee found at other hotels. I'll stay here again when I am back in the area.

The hotel was easy to access from highway. The facility was immacuLate, the desk clerks were friendly. The breakfast was very good. We travel with a pet and we were pleased. Lots of dining choices nearby as well as fuel choices,

This is a wonderful hotel. The check in process was fast and efficient. The room was extra large which was great, it was clean, and there was a large vanity in the bathroom. It is next door to the Cracker Barrel restaurant so you can walk there. The only small glitch was with the air conditioning system, you can't turn off the fan if the system is off. The price for one night was excellent compared to other similar places.

Taking a cross country road trip and stayed here for a night. Great customer service at the front desk. Clean rooms. Good price. I would definitely stay here again if my travels took me through Virginia again.

We stopped at this hotel as a last minute visit while travelling to Florida, but it is located in a beautiful area, so close to national parks. I would return just to visit. The hotel was very nice, the pet friendly accomadations were really good and the breakfast was yummy.

The HVAC system is little noisy, I suggest that one should bring some ear plugs, if you are a light sleeper. The hotel is well maintained, clean, the staff were very pleasant and it is conveniently located near the interstate. Great amenities and everything worked property,

Hotel room was clean and comfortable. Appears to be recently updated. Staff was very pleasant. Breakfast included fresh fruit. Overall, a very good value when compared with other properties. The location was convenient to local attractions.

I stayed at the Best Western which was the host hotel for a conference I attended. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful (had a little mix-up with my reservation and they handled it just perfectly). The location is good (close to interstate and to many food options) but the road into the property is a little difficult to navigate the first time. Plenty of parking, clean site, good amenities, meeting venue was just fine for 140 people.

We stay here several times a year and love it each time. The staff is really great, the rooms are nice and comfortable, and our kids love the indoor pool. It's convenient to shopping and dining. Always recommend.

This was one of the quietest hotels I have ever stayed in even though my room was near the elevator. Very clean and restful stay. We did not try the breakfast but it looked good. I would definitely recommend staying here.

My wife and I stayed at the Best Western Plus Waynesboro for one night during a recent road trip, between driving Skyline Drive and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The hotel and staff were nice, and there were fresh baked cookies at the front desk. The hotel is walking distance from some restaurants (we ate a Panera Bread), though it's not really a pedestrian-friendly area. The room (402) was clean and comfortable. The fan on the AC unit under the window runs even when the unit is off, unless you unplug it or push the button on the side of the plug. Breakfast was good but limited (at least when we were there). There was nothing exceptional about the hotel, but it was very good and we would stay there again if we were in the area.

Price was outrageous...we have stayed at this hotel multiple times over the last few years and have never paid as much as we did a night for this stay. The price over the particular weekend was $75 more than if we stayed over Thanksgiving holiday (according to rate search for that time period). It has put us off from using this hotel again, and we travel to this area once or twice a month on average.

Positive experience at this Best Western hotel. I would recommend this hotel. Decor was nice, room was clean and up to date. We would stay here again, even though it was a little pricey. Convenient to restaurants.

Found this after long travel day. Front desk staff were welcoming. Room was clean with nice ammenities. Great location with many restaurants nearby. Great shower with plenty of hot water. Adequate counter space n bath. Microwave, coffee pot & fridge n room. Pool but we didnt use. Very well stocked breakfast buffet with waffles, premade sandwiches, gravy/biscuits, cereal, eggs, bacon. Dennis provided good directions with a smile.

This hotel definitely lived up to the reviews that I read. We had a wonderful stay, very clean and quiet, great hot breakfast every morning. Staff very pleasant. Only wished that I had remembered a bathing suit for the indoor pool!

Arrived at the hotel at 9pm after pulling off the road during an NC to NY road trip. The man at the front desk was extremely friendly. My daughter was mostly concerned about the pool hours and he advised us it closed at 10pm sharp. We unloaded the car and hit the pool right away. There appeared to be sand or something all over the floor inside the pool, but otherwise it was clean, plenty of guest towels available. The room was sufficient and clean. Great hot breakfast in the morning. No complaints and would stay here again.

We stayed at this location for one night after touring Shenandoah National Park. The hotel is close to I-64 and within walking distance to two restaurants. Check in was fairly easy. The front desk clerk was polite and friendly. The lobby area is well maintained as are the hallways and elevator. Our standard king room was clean and decorated nicely. The only issue we encountered during our stay was noisy guests slamming guest room doors and talking loudly in the hallway after midnight. Overall it was a pleasant one night stay and I would recommend this hotel when traveling through the Waynesboro area.

Comfortable and convenient, close to parkway. Overall, experience was good for our one night stay, We were not exceptionally greeted...Greg was the front desk staffperson. His demeanor was quite unfriendly. The morning breakfast was adequate but same food as served in most hotels.

You will have a good night sleep at this hotel. It was quiet and clean. Every staff person we encountered was friendly and helpful. The Fish and Pig next door was a fun place to watch sports and get dinner. I highly recommend this place!

This hotel is clean, rooms very big with comfortable beds. Hotel staff were very friendly. The elevator had broken down when we arrive and we were on top floor. Not too much of a problem and the elevator was back in running order in the early evening. Breakfast was good with a range of different foods. We found the hotel very quiet at night and although our room faced the interstate we didn't find it noisy . We would certainly stay again.

Room was clean and quiet. Who could ask for more. Close to town and the interstate. Seems to be a very safe area. I would use this facility anytime I was in the area. Best Western is close to many good eating places.

i visit this hotel several times a year, and it is a great place to stop. Everything is clean, cozy, and the staff is very friendly. This place is surrounded by great places to eat and has great access to both I 64 and I 81. As i said, i visit this hotel several times a year, and they seem to get better every time i visit.

The hotel is close to the highway and restaurant but the access road is not intuitive even with nav app. Most of the other hotels in the area are dubious. Everything is clean in the reception but parking can be busy with staying contractors (large vehicles). I am not a fan of the bulk shampoos and soaps. Dispensers appear grubby and not cleaned by hotel staff. The counter under the soap dispenser was caked with drippings. This seems to be a trend in junky hotels to save a few cents but end up with consumer dissatisfaction. Not a winner. The floors in the room were clean even in corners. The bedding was clean but 2 pillows had noticeable black scuffs. Fortunately, I had 2 beds to cull the pillow inventory. Breakfast was ok and included but coffee is in the lobby. They could have had an extra carafe in the breakfast room (or move it in the morning) but did not. I come to the area often for business but am considering other options for my next trip. Staunton seems to be a god option and not too far.

When we booked our 3 night stay, there was no mention of remodeling. They had removed the wall covering in the hallway on our floor, which revealed black mold in several places. The workers wore masks but we didn't have anything to keep us from breathing the mold and the dust. When we complained at the front desk and asked for a discount, we were told that they would not give any kind of discount. They were not very compassionate or helpful. Will not be staying there again.

Because we enjoyed our stay in July, we made a reservation to return in August on our return trip. Arrived at 3:30 to find the hotel hosting a motorcycle group that filled the lobby and all other common areas — complete with tables and tents. We were told that under NO circumstance could we cancel and were charged for the night. Cancellations must be made NLT 4:00 pm the day before. Won't be back.

Some small flaws each time we're there--for instance, on check-out morning the sole elevator was out of service for at least three hours (and we were on the third floor--but no deal-breakers. Most of the staff members are helpful and courteous. And the high price is probably not too out of line for the area.

Very nice stay experience. Great room, clean, comfortable, well lit AND QUIET. What was outstanding was the front desk staff at check in. The gentleman was very courteous and willing to take the time to give us info on local restaurants and entertainment. I would definitely stay here again.

Just minutes off I-95. Clean inviting lobby and friendly desk personnel. Could not get the online special but as a gold rewards member I still got a good rate. If you are not Rewards member ask for AARP or AAA rate. Our room was on the 4th floor of this four story motel. Plenty of parking and luggage carts are available. Ask front desk where to find them as they are not by the entrance. The room was nice size even with the two queen size beds. One bed is very close to the AC unit, so be advised. The TV has several channels. Channel 2 is the guide. Other amenities include a m'wave, fridge and hair dryer. Lighting is OK but not as good as other places we have stayed. Watch your step getting in and out of the tub. The tub floor is slightly elevated higher than the bath floor. One odd thing is they do not provide those small plastic bottles a of shampoo, soap and conditioner. Instead they have wall and tub mounted dispensers. (See photo). Not the best idea in my opinion. One hint: the odd numbered rooms are the ones away from Interstate noise. Breakfast is served at 6. Typical motel fare.

this hotel was handy to the highway and was very accomodating. the help was very good and the continental breakfast was ok-good . Pool was good. parking was excellent. was also close to shopping and restaurant 'Fishing Pig' Price was average for BW

Good hotel the night before Skyline Drive. Rooms were great and breakfast was alright. Bigfoot convention was going on so it was an interesting crowd. Great place to stay if you are going into Shenandoah Valley from the south entrance.

We chose this property as it is Pet Friendly. That was a good experience for us. Unfortunately, the beds are not comfortable. You have to continuously roll over to try and find comfort on these hard beds.

Lovely sized rooms with convenient amenities. Got a restful night's sleep, as the beds are nice and comfy. The hotel is very conveniently located - close to one of the Appalachian trailheads, restaurants, gas station etc. Staff were welcoming. All in all, an enjoyable stay.

Not sure what the actual capacity of the hotel is, but we found it to be a rather big BW.  Problem is that there is only a single elevator.  We happened to be staying here in conjunction with a family reunion.  The elevator was slow and crowded to the point where we were forced to wait several trips so that passengers could be unloaded.  We have been in smaller BWs that had 2 working elevators.  This place definitely needs 2 working elevators.  Stay on the first level to eliminate the need for an elevator. I do not like shampoo, hand soap, etc. dispensers over individual bottles and soap bars.  Our room had at least 6 pushable dispensers in the bathroom.  First off, I worry about the cleanliness of the push button on the dispenser, and second you never seem to know how much product you have.  In our case, my wife found out that the shampoo dispenser was empty at the exact moment she tried to wash her hair. If you prefer a bath over a shower, this is not your place.  The tubs are tiny and hard to maneuver in.  We all felt that the tub floor was slippery, and some type of funky overlay had been applied to the tub bottom which, in my opinion, only made it more slippery. There was a dead Zelkova tree in the middle of the parking lot outside of the main entrance which really did not make the exterior landscaping shine. On positive notes, this hotel is located right off of I-64 with really easy access onto the highway.  There are both Cracker Barrel and Panera Bread restaurants along the entry access to the hotel if you prefer an alternative breakfast.  Prior to turning onto the road leading to the hotel, there was a nice Exxon station and a Starbucks across from it.  So, if you need a good location to access Skyline Drive or Shenandoah National Park, this would be a really good location. Our room was spacious and clean.  We thought the beds were very comfortable.  Nice selection of TV channels and all our amenities with the exception of the dispensers were in working order.  Desk staff was very courteous and professional.  We would stay here again but opt for a first floor level room.

Clean, secure basic motel with breakfast. WELL positioned between Skyline Drive and Blue RIDGE Parkway. In room coffee. TV. Nice sized room. Nice staff no issues other than old style toilet and vent in bathroom barely registers but no complaints.

The best comfortable laid back experience I ever had. I plan to be back next year and I will have others booking rooms to stay for our next annual va bigfoot conference. I will be promoting this venue.

Quick access to Blue Ridge Parkway. Good breakfast and clean rooms. We have no complaints. They are many places to eat nearby; we ate at Outback Steakhouse. I would probably stay again because of its access to the highway.

Mattress was in need of upgrading. Bathroom floor was sticky from too much cleanser. Our room view was blocked by a wall and located above the lobby area. Noisy! This is our second stay here. It's very clean. Staff is nice. Cookies at check in are tasty. I will give it another try. Our first stay was more enjoyable.

We were within sight of a busy interstate, but the hotel was so quiet that we slept well. Rooms had just been renovated and were beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the convenience of a refrigerator and microwave.

Great location, just off I-64. Walking distance to Cracker Barrel. Hotel always clean and pillows were so comfortable we bought 2 to take home. Breakfast included a wide variety of both hot and cold items. Fresh fruit, great waffles with a variety of toppings.

This BW+ would have been great if there wasn't so much light in the room. The curtains barely cover the windows and are not totally room darkening. Light came n above and below the curtains from the parking lot which made it difficult to sleep. The walls were rather thin, too, as we could hear the people in the adjoining room all too well. On the other hand, once the couple next door went to bed, the room was very quiet. There was no noise from traffic on the main road or the Interstate not too far away. Also, the room had a great shower. The WiFi signal was terrific (22 Mbps on Speedtest.com compared to just 6Mbps where we are now on our trip). Breakfast was quite good, though BW does insist on serving brown water instead of coffee at each and every one of their venues. Staff was particularly cordial. Finally, at least two family restaurants are within walking distance (Golden Corral and Cracker Barrel).

We enjoyed our recent stay at Best Western Plus Waynesboro Inn very much. The room was clean, roomy, and comfortable. The staff was very kind and helpful. We enjoyed a good breakfast where there was a great variety of delicious foods. Overall a great stay!

Staff helpful. Not too happy with breakfast quality but it is included in the rate so better than having to go out and find something. Looked the soap and shampoo dispensers rather than tiny bottles. Worth staying.

We stayed here en route to Tennessee. Service at front desk was good and the breakfast spread was nice. Room was clean. I always swim and the pool opened at 8am which worked for me. Temperature was good. Elevator is very slow. At the end of the parking lot is Fishin Pig restaurant. Be sure and try it for dinner for the food, not the service.

We always stay here when in the area once or twice a year to visit family. We're never disappointed. Everyone is friendly and very willing to meet our every need. The rooms are always clean and homey. See you in October!!

Checked in after a long drive. Missy at the front desk is a charm. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Room was super clean and comfortable. Good restaurants are within walking distance. Breakfast was plentiful and well organized.

Picked this hotel because of the reviews. Needed dog friendly room for the night while traveling and had stayed at another cheaper chain hotel ... would rather paid the extra money for the cleanliness. It was very clean but could have been better... but I am a former room attendant/inspector with very high standards! Extended pool hours were nice and we slept very well

The stay was very nice and in a great area. It was a little ways off the main highway but close enough to not make that big of a deal. There was an elevator issue but it was resolved but the following morning.

Exceptional staff. Room was excellent. Very nice breakfast room. Great amenities and close to all attractions. Restaurants within walking distance. 5 minutes to town center. 30 minutes to Monticello. Beautiful views.

We choose this location because of what we were doing, not because it's the best location. It is a little hard to get to but wasn't a big issue. Beware the parking is Valet only. Food was very good and the staff was excellent!

Clean spacious room. Nice full breakfast with a large selection including protein choices and waffles. Dog friendly with a small fee and larger dogs welcome. Friendly staff. Beautiful views!! We would definitely stay here again.

I selected this hotel being the lesser of evils of the cheaper options. My GPS led me astray trying to get to this hotel. It is off the highway but a few turns, poor roads, and odd intersection to get there. I was there on business and had no trouble checking in. My room was near the elevator but there was no noise to distract from tv or sleeping. The room seemed a little warm so I had to run the ac when it was 50 degrees outside. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. My main complaint are the dispensers for soap, shampoo, etc. - seems cheap and not sanitary. I prefer the amenities to know someone's grubby hands were not on what I touched. Really cheap and customer-focused - another business makes a financial decision over customer satisfaction. Free breakfast was ok - actual hot breakfast but self-cleaned tables is not a winner based on visitors before I came down. Room was a little tight but there were few visitors during my stay. This hotel is away from the other cheap ones offered on the highway exit. I felt safe in this hotel but the others seemed dubious. There was a murder at one of those others during my stay.

A completely unexpected stay caused by road conditions. Excellent rooms, great breakfast, good fitness center and a helpful/friendly staff. We have found a new lager site! Cracker Barrel and another fine restaurant are within walking distance.

This is a wonderful place to stay with friendly staff, clean comfy rooms, a warm saltwater pool in the winter, and a quick, easy breakfast included with your stay. It is also close to a dozen restaurants with all kinds of food, and easy to get to from two Interstates (I64 & I81).

Great hotel! The hotel is clean, spacious and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was busy but well appointed. Allowing dogs for $15/day made this a clear winner for our quick trip to the Shenandoah area. This will be our go to should we find ourselves in the area again.

This was a wonderful hotel with a delicious breakfast, according to my daughters, near Wintergreen ski resort. We stayed to go skiing, and this was definitely cheaper than the resort. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, and the price was right.

We brought a small group to this hotel for a ski weekend and every detail was handled from start to finish! Check in was a breeze, breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. Our group also reserved a small conference room as a gathering and dinner spot - Molly, Debbie, and their staff handled it all so beautifully, the space was perfect, and the process was seamless. Thank you all for a wonderful stay!!

The housekeeper guy would not let me even get dressed and finish packing before he came in and started throwing my stuff everywhere telling me he had a job to do. I could not believe this was happening.

The hotel is conveniently located close to Skyline Drive. There are many shops nearby and you can walk to the Cracker Barrel for a good meal. The rooms are large and the beds are very comfortable. Only the air conditioning is loud and cannot be turned off by pressing a button. But pulling the plug was quiet :-) the breakfast was good and you could take a lunchbox with you. In the pool you could swim in peace, everything was fine. we were only here for one night, but we liked it very much.

If your going to wintergreen it's really close to mountain, lots of restaurant, clean, seems safe. Affordable. In between crackerbarrel and fish restaurant ,culdesac. Breakfast was good when lady worked it the guy left coffee cold, waffle mix empty.

As always, we were pleased with our stay at Best Western Plus in Waynesboro. It is very convenient to the highway and there are great places to eat next door. On this particular trip, our dog boarding plans fell through last minute and Best Western was more than willing to accommodate on very short notice. We stay here several times a year and are already looking forward to coming bacl.

Love this hotel. Very nice, clean, super quit rooms & the amazing view of the Blue Ridge Mountains cant be beat & is free. Just great accommodations, fresh cookies & coffee all day & so convenient to interstate & town. Also, the Fish & Pig next door to hotel has great food & atmosphere. Killer crab dip. Be sure to go to Stuarts Draft to The Cheese Shop (just expanded with a donut shop & sandwich are coming in January), Sooners BBQ & Millers Bakery.

It was a short 1 night visit, but very pleased with my experience. The pull out sofa was as comfortable as the bed was. We did have difficulty finding the hair dryer, so clarity with where it is would be helpful.

This hotel and conference center is a great place to stay in the Waynesboro area. The hotel has comfortable rooms. pleasant staff, and is reasonably priced. Along with clean, comfortable rooms it has an indoor pool, a workout area, and wifi everywhere. A light but hot breakfast is offered every morning and there are at least a dozen restaurants close by for other meals and options.

My husband had to stay here with the Group of Shiners who were attending the Christmas Parade in Waynesboro. Hotel staff were very helpful in getting his room straight - as we had to cancel it due to weather - but then he ended up needing the room anyway. They re-instated his room with no problem and with the same great rate for the club.

There was a power outage and they were unable to clean the rooms, there was no power or hot water when arrived for the Call of the Wild conference. I waited until after check in time...6pm to see if power was restored, and had to stay in my car the entire day. Many businesses were closed due to the ice storm. I was still charged for the room anyway. And had to pay for 2 different rooms for one night.

This hotel is in a good location, convenient to many restaurants and within walking distance of the Cracker Barrel. Plenty of parking and good lighting when dark. We chose this hotel based on the reviews from TripAdvisor. The hotel lobby is alright, although the coffee was ice cold and old, the staff on duty was friendly. As soon as we stepped into our room we noticed debris along the baseboards, and beads from a broken necklace on the floor. So, we knew the room had not been vacuumed. But, when I walked into the bathroom - my shoes stuck to the floor. Ugh! I could clearly see spots all over the bathroom floor and it wasn't water spots from washing hands. I put down a towel for us to walk on and said we will only be here a few hours, just long enough to sleep. Sleep did not come easy. And - at 6:00 am the alarm clock, which we did not set, went off in a loud shrill, waking us up instantly. I'm ashamed for anyone to know we stayed here and hope we never have to stay at a Best Western again. If management reads this please know how important it is for travelers to stay in a clean, sanitized room. Most of us can overlook dated, but we cannot overlook unsanitary. I can't tell you anything about breakfast, I think you understand why we didn't eat.

Our room condition was absolutely disappointing considering we paid $540 for a two night stay. The tub had Spackle all over, the tile in the bathroom was broken, the HVAC system was broken and was stuck on one setting, breakfast items were cold straight from chaffing dish. The fitness center treadmill was broken and no free weights. The furniture in the room was too large for the amount of space. Our room door would not latch until you forcefully shut and placed the lock on. When reported issues with the front desk they did not care to address the issue or apologize. We will not be staying at this hotel or consider Best Western hotels again.

We have stayed here before. We had some issues last time with the handicapped accessible room and had issues again. We stayed in room 110 for one night. The room is large with plenty of lighting. There was a firm king-sized bed, flat screen television with remote, small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. There is a small desk with chair. The closet rack was low and reachable. There was an extra blanket and pillow. The bathroom was also large with a raised toilet seat, grab bars and a walk-in shower. Liquid soap dispensers were located in the shower and by the sink. The A/C and heat are controlled by a floor unit under the window. Unfortunately there were negatives: The room was very dusty, almost what I would consider dirty, and had cobwebs on the lamps and bed headboard. We found dead ants in the bedding. The walk-in shower looked unfinished and there was mold. The soap dispenser in the shower was empty. Worst of all was the hand-held shower. It was coming off the wall. It also needed to be on a slide bar to allow accessibility from the shower seat. It can get very noisy when large groups are staying here (lots of door slamming), but I can deal with that for one night. The convenience of this hotel is what brings us back and we like having Cracker Barrel right next to the hotel. It would be great if there were a path between parking lots for wheelchair bound people. However, the rooms need to be cleaned (under and behind furniture, too) and dusted thoroughly on a daily basis and there should be regular quality checks by the staff to make sure everything is in working order.

Don't let them put you in room 214 unless you need a handicapped room directly above the automatic opening door directly below your room. Not to mention the “smoking” bench right outside the front door one floor below your window.

Very happy with our stay, wonderful lobby, spacious room, variety of pillows on the bed. Quiet heating system. Location had a restaurant on both sides, easy on and off I-64. Coffee available 24 hours a day. Great breakfast offerings, including breakfast sandwiches and Greek yogurt. Something for all. Just unhappy there was no real butter, just Country Crock spread, and not real half and half, liquid Carnation. So the Best Western we stayed in had those things, but the one with the plus behind the name did not. Nice pool area. Not happy that drinking fountains in fitness room did not work. Dispensers in shower for soap etc, good idea but placed where we hit our arms constantly. Staff helpful with restaurant suggestions

Stayed at the suites because the family was doing a Spartan Super and Kids Races. When I mentioned that we had an early start-time they said their would be some breakfast items available before their normal 6:00 AM time. Being able to start with a fresh made waffle with some fruit was great nutrition for the race and saved considerable time,

The room and bathroom were clean and perfect for our quick trip to the area. WE stayed two nights and the location was perfect .Quick drive to Shenandoah N.P. & Blue Ridge PKwy. There were several restaurants in walking distance so you don't have to drive.The breakfast was not bad. I have had better however they were able to accommodate my gluten free diet if you asked. We would stay here again if we are in the area.

Terrible three night stay. The sink and bathtub were not cleaned. Toothpaste in the sink. Hair in the shower. Dirty plastic cups were not cleared from the room. A very loud party was occurring in the events room with a loud band playing. In my room it was like I was sitting at the front table at a bar. The walls were vibrating. I stay in hotels frequently and this was one of the worse stays I've ever had. I've stayed at this hotel three times and two of the three occasions have been bad.

Somehow this hotel thinks it's appropriate to have a LIVE BAND playing at a private event inside the hotel. You can hear the music on every floor and the walls of my room are vibrating. I paid to stay at a hotel, not a club. Really inconsiderate hotel and management. Do not stay here.

When we arrived at the hotel Tammie was behind the front desk, She was extremely friendly. Unfortunately we were booked for a handicap room, don't know why, so because the hotel was completely booked that night, she was not able to give us a regular room. The room was dated, and half of the outlet plugs did not work. The lighting was very poor. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was very good. The young man did a great job keeping up, and he was very friendly. For the priced we paid, I would have expected nicer accommodations.

This Best Western hotel is in a quiet location convenient to Waynesboro, Virginia with clean rooms and a wonderful staff. Gas, shopping, and multiple chain restaurants (i.e. Cracker Barrel) were within walking distance.

Excellent facility, excellent staff, excellent location, excellent stay. This is probably the best Best Western that I have visited. The central location to Luray Caverns, Monticello, Shenandoah valley and Skyline Drive was my reasonable for choosing this Best Western.

I used this BW Plus at the end of my road trip of the Blue Ridge Parkway from NC to VA. It is fine; it is just larger and less personal than some of the smaller regular BW properties I tend to frequent. Going solo, my needs are basic. The rooms are very nice and I was given one on the ground floor close to the front. Breakfast was fine and up to the usual BW Plus standards with hot eggs and sausage and a lot of continental offerings. There are multiple restaurants nearby, within walking distance. I enjoyed staying at this hotel. It was very clean and staff, especially Corey, were very helpful. I will be making trips to Bridgewater College in the future and I would stay hear again. The room was very clean and several nice restaurants in the area.

Large room, very nice bathroom, extremely clean Very convenient parking. Everyone was very friendly and especially the cleaning staff, made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was very good I would highly recommend.

We've stayed at this hotel since it had opened, and this last trip I noticed the quality has gone down a little as the hotel is starting to show wear. I had noticed the air conditioning vents were dirty, the carpet made our socks dirty, the cleaning staff failed to replenish coffee cups, tissues one day. Our room wasn't cleaned one day and we had to inform the front desk. And I feel the breakfast area needs improvement.

My husband and I stayed with our 2 children for one night for a family event that was in the area. We really enjoyed the friendly staff and the hotel amenities. We will definitely choose this hotel to stay at again next year when we are in this area.

This hotel is very comfortable, with a nice salt water pool and a caring/helpful staff. The beds are comfy with plenty of pillows. They have a great selection for breakfast. They gave us a late checkout so we could relax a bit more with a nice swim.

Hotel was kept fairly clean and staff is fairly friendly. We liked the hot breakfast. Our room was spacious, and we requested a kitchenette, which we got and were very happy with. Our two large dogs were welcomed and got lots of pets. Other guests were friendly. Hotel was located close to the highway, and to restaurants and places to shop. Cookies in the evening are a great touch!

We booked a one night stay on a longer trip. The hotel staff were very friendly but the evening shift was overwhelmed and seemed to be working alone trying to check everyone in and deal with questions and issues. Not a great setup. We had a king room. It was clean and had plenty of counter space in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were not. They felt like they were full of foam chunks. We did not use the in room coffee maker or fridge but they seemed to be functional. We didn't try the on site breakfast either because Cracker Barrel is literally right next door. Finally, the indoor pool appeared clean but we didn't get a chance to use it because our stay was so short.

I recently stayed at this hotel. I had chosen this hotel, out of several off exit 94 in Waynesboro, Va , mostly because of the stars and the reviews were good. It is clean, and it is oblivious they have updated the rooms somewhat. It's an older hotel. With that being said, they did not invest in good mattresses. I have stayed at many hotels that deserve three stars. This is not one. It had a three star price. I would at most give it a two and one half. Since I travel this area occasionally, I went across the highway and visited a couple of their competitors. I will be staying across the road the next time, for a similar price, and they are not claiming three stars. As for the good reviews. I guess value is all in the eyes of the beholder. There are certain things I expect for star ratings and cost.

My two daughters and I stayed here last July for five nights. The hotel was clean, the beds were comfy, and the breakfast was good. We enjoyed the pool. I recommend this hotel and will probably stay here again, next time we are in Waynesboro. When we stayed, we used the on site washer and dryer. At that time the dryer didn't work very well. I took our clothes out and finished drying them at my sister's house. Other than that, we had no complaints about this hotel.

Our first room had ants on the bedside table. After killing a half dozen we decided just before going to bed that we should change rooms because they were so close to the beds. There were sizable crumbs behind it, which is probably what was attracting them. The deadbolt didn't work, either. The front desk person gave us what I was told is the last room available. It is a king with a sofa bed. The first thing I did when I walked in was step on something that stuck to my sock. We checked for bugs and didn't find any, but the stove (yeah, stove) is old and dirty. They need to just take it out, but if they keep it they should at least clean it with a towel soaked in ammonia overnight so it won't be so nasty looking. But on top of that it has crumbs around it and a piece of paper towel stuck to it. There is a 5' refrigerator in the room with crumbs and other spots on top of it as well. The sofa bed is uncomfortable. I know it's a sofa bed and not a regular bed, but the one I own is pretty comfortable. I feel like I'm just complaining now, but the pillows are all huge and not particularly soft. I asked the front desk if they have thinner ones but they don't. I wouldn't mind that much, but thick pillows make my neck hurt. It's 12:52 now and I'm just going to bed. I don't know what breakfast has in store, but I wanted to get this review out before I forgot the details.

My husband and I stay here frequently as a layover point between PA and NC. We have always had pleasant experiences here, but this last time was different. First, we called on way from NC to see if they had availability and gal was polite and professional. She gave us the "military rate" on a room with 2 queen beds. (Prior military family) Great! We arrived around 9pm to find no wheeled luggage carriers. The man on duty said that guests are keeping them and not bringing them back, almost in a humorous way. I really wasn't laughing was tired from the trip. I asked him why management hadn't done something about this? No comment. I went on every floor, as he hadn't offered to, to see if there was a luggage carrier in the hallway, but no luck. When I got back down to the desk, the man said he looked on every floor and couldn't find one. Could have offered that immediately and saved us time. My husband and I carry additional stuff like a CPap, pillows, etc so we had to make several trips up to our room and back down. I had to ask the man if he could help us. He brought up my wheeled suitcase. The shower floor had anti-skid material peeling off all around it, so it was uncomfortable on my feet. Minor. There is no fan to get rid of the humidity from showering. The hotel needs some improvements to give it a 5 star rating from me again. The room was clean, beds comfortable, coffee always great! Amenities are great! Didn't get to the pool so cannot comment on that. Husband enjoyed breakfast. I didn't have an appetite for it. I filled out the survey and immediately within 24 hours I received an email from Robert Reed, GM, thanking us for staying there, apologizing and promising to address the issues I wrote them about. Also commenting that he hopes that we will want to stay there again. I won't say I won't, because it is a very nice place, but I felt it was important to let people know our experience. Friendly staff and extra clean and well kept facilities, make this a wonderful place to stay. We were here for a wedding and spent two days. Could not have been more pleased. Very conscientious to area attractions and restaurants. The breakfast was really nice also.

My wife and I only had about a day and a half to find something to do that was fun and relaxing on Father's Day weekend. We decided to ride the BRP north from Fancy Gap to its beginning near Waynesboro Va. The ride was breathtaking but we found out at the end of the day that we were tired, in need of a shower, hungry and done for the day. We chose the Best Western Plus in Waynesboro and found it to be just what we needed. The staff very warm and friendly. The room was clean and complete with everything we needed! The Buffet for breakfast was top notch! We will definitely stay here again!

We had a pretty comfortable stay for two nights while visiting Shenandoah National Park. For the #2 TripAdvisor hotel in Waynesboro, I thought this hotel might be a little more special. The staff were particularly great especially at the front desk check-in when we discovered a mistake I made in our reservation. Our room and the hotel seemed adequately clean. The decor is a bit dated and probably due for some renovations. Really all-in-all fine, safe and comfortable but nothing remarkable.

Convenient location to Interstate 64, very nice staff, friendly and helpful. Dogs are made to feel welcome and there is a designated walking area supplied with poop bags (it's the little details that help when traveling with pets!) Nice idea to have shower gel and hand soap from dispensers rather than little bottles. Request for ground floor room was honored. Price was a little high, but I gather it was a busy weekend with dog show and local graduations.

Out of soap in the shower dispenser so had to get some off of the sink. One bedside lamp did not work. AC would not run continuous fan like it should have. Morning breakfast was typical for this chain's peers. Good front desk personnel.

This hotel is very clean, decorated appropriately, and staff are kind. The room was in clean, the bed was comfy, and everything was in working order. There are various places to eat near the hotel. Easily accessible. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Good location, great staff. Excellent service. The staff was professional, attentive and personable. They insured we got what we asked for in a pleasant way. The breakfast was good and offered numerous options and was warm and the fruit was fresh. We will definitely return when in the area.

We just stayed one night on our way home. Very clean and the staff was very nice. The breakfast was nothing to write home about, so we skipped it! We would definately stay there again if we were in the area.

We stayed here for graduation weekend as most hotels in Charlottesville required a two or three night minimum stay. We also avoided most of the traffic heading into Charlottesville. We had a large group and had reserved several rooms. They made our complicated check in (complicated on our side, not theirs) smooth and easy. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. If you are staying here as an alternative to Charlottesville, be aware there can be heavy fog on the mountain as you drive over.

Had trouble getting a reservation cancelled. Management believes "management is always right." Errors made by both parties, but management not interested in customers' good will. For $550, they don't care if you ever stay in a BW again. Interesting since we are local and used to refer all our visitors there. Recommend you stay at the Hampton Inn in nearby Fishersville if you need a nice place to stay.

We were attending a graduation in Charlottesville and weren't sure where to stay. We made our reservation 9 months in advance because we knew there would be a scarcity closer to graduation. Saw positive reviews of this hotel and have had decent luck with BW hotels in the past. We were extremely satisfied with the accommodations and the staff couldn't be more professional and helpful. The location is great but was a 30 minute ride from Charlottesville so we made reservations in Charlottesville for the following evening. What a mistake! We were so sorry, we would have made the 30 minute ride back to Waynesboro had we known. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.

We used the hotel for family coming from San Diego, DC, Orlando, and St. Louis. I've stayed here many times before over the years and the quality and value has been great. Despite the hotel hosting a conference and a prom, the staff did not forget the rest of us.

This hotel has everything we need and the personnel are very friendly and helpful. Sometimes they are a little late at performing their work. We usually have to ask that something be refilled in the breakfast room and at this visit there was no soap, shampoo, or body wash in the dispensers in our room. We love their accommodation for pets, walking area for them and the waffles are great. we will be returning when back in the area.

I love this hotel. Rooms are comfortable, clean, and updated. Breakfast in morning was typical for hotel, but appreciated and something I look for in booking. Staff was friendly. Of course for a hotel of this statute, you will be paying one of the highest rates in the area also.

Was towing a huge boat home from south carolina was exhausted on arrival at 930. As we walked in my son and i were greeted with “mr lewis i presume” welcome have some cookies while I check you in... fantastic speedy front desk service immaculate room, great breakfast the next morning with a charming attendant who handled an equipment malfunction with class... great stay great staff.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was very accommodating to our group of eight couples. The beds were comfortable, everything was clean, and the breakfast was good. The location is close to Staunton, the south end of the Shenandoah National Park, and the north end of the Blue Ridge Parkway. I definitely recommend this hotel.

The Waynesboro Best Western & Suites Conference is a great place to stay and the Events Staff doing an outstanding job to make your event top notch. The owners and staff there treat you like family. We have done events there since they opened, so they have taken the time to get to know what we need, how we like to have the rooms set, and most importantly, they have become like family to us. We have stayed her while visiting family, they are always courteous and helpful. Rooms are clean and quiet. Beds are comfortable. I left my phone charger cord at home and they loaned me one. This was great! Close it interstate 65 and restaurants.

Quick summary - Clean, comfortable, spacious room, good breakfast and friendly staff. We stayed for five nights and were pleased with almost every aspect of this hotel. The one real complaint is that the heating/air conditioning unit runs continuously, even if you push the “off” button. We asked the front desk receptionist about it. He said he could adjust it, but then it would cycle on and off, which I really don't like, so we left it as is. They set them to continuously be on to keep air circulating - plus, I suspect, to block traffic noise so people don't complain. The beds were very comfortable, pillows decent, and sheets very soft. The shower was clean, we never had a problem with hot water, and were provided with plenty of fresh towels. Breakfast had more options than at many hotel breakfasts - hot hard-cooked fried eggs, bacon and/or sausage, waffles, hard-boiled eggs, yogurts, a variety of breads (though the selection gets skimpy near the end of breakfast time), cereal, biscuits and gravy, pre-made breakfast sandwiches, fresh fruit, instant oatmeal and grits, plus juices, tea and coffee. The location is convenient with lots of nearby restaurants - two that are almost in the same parking lot as the hotel. There are fresh cookies available every night. They aren't as good as some other hotel chain's cookies, but we still enjoyed them. :) Overall, we were quite satisfied and will probably stay there again on our next trip to Waynesboro.

Stayed here two weeks prior while on business and was so impressed that i booked family stay here (plus they allow pets). Great breakfast, great staff. Don't miss the picnic tables and modest grassy area around back for walking dogs or allowing kids to work off steam.

Almost from the start I was disappointed. Said they were "pet friendly". Hardly. I was put on the third floor with my golden which was inconvenient. There were no designated, lighted doggie areas outside, no trash cans, and no doggie poop bags either. Two lamps in our "executive" room didn't work, and we had to plug in the air conditioner for it to work. The bed was really hard, and the bathroom was so small that I could sit on the commode and brush my teeth at the same time if I had wanted to. With tax and dog fees, it was $150; wasn't worth the money. Won't be returning.

We stayed here on our way headed back to upstate NY. It was clean and very comfortable. Easy to get to and also has surrounding restaurants that were just as easy to get to. I cant review much more because we didn't get here until 8pm. But it definitely was very nice.

Having stayed in Best Western hotels in the past, I was not especially thrilled about doing my sons rehearsal dinner there. Your staff and property met and exceeded my expectations. I still have one child left to get married off and I will not hesitate to use Best Western in the future

Our son is relocating to the Charlottesville/Waynesboro area and we needed a place to stay while helping him move in. This is the place & we will definitely be back when we are in the area to visit! The location is close by to anything you can imagine. Convenient to the highway as well.

We had a Sangeet event at their Ballroom and we had many guests stay there. The facility was outstanding and service was great. The event director Debbie and her staff were outstanding accommodating our needs and take care of our group's guests

We were in town looking at property in the Shenandoah Valley and needed a room with two beds. This was the only property that could accommodate in the greater Staunton area. They were very welcoming and the check in process was quick. The room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast was not extensive, but there was enough for people with different tastes or diets. Check out was simple. I don't normally stay at Best Western, but this one worked perfectly for us!

We traveled with our 3 year old Yorkie/Bichon pup. The staff were very accommodating to all 3 of us. There is an “exercise” area out back with poo bags, and a place to deposit them. We especially appreciated the cleanliness of the place.

The pillow are gigantic and previous reviews indicate others have complained about this. Front desk did not have normal pillows. I could not sleep that night. HVAC noisy, but had to unplug at 2 am. Room turned cold quickly by 4 am. A simple fix would be to buy some extra locally procured pillows. Not going back.

My daughter set us up at this hotel for a family ski trip. The first 2 nights were great. The room was nice, large and clean. The staff was friendly and responsive. Until the 3rd night when there was a party in the conference room near our room 219. It started at 8pm on a Saturday with a DJ and ran until midnight. At 830 after turning up my television to near max volume to be able to hear it over the music I called the front desk and asked how long this would go on. She said she didn't know but a lot of people were leaving and she didn't think much longer. At 11pm I called again and asked if the volume could be turned down. The woman at the front desk said that the volume was within their guidelines. I asked, if the person in the next room had their music that loud would it be within their guidelines to which she had no answer. If you are staying at this hotel on Saturday night and need to get rest do not stay in any rooms with the last 2 digits greater than 10 to be on the safe side.

Can't beat the convenience of this Best Westerns location, whether here for business or just passing through. Very close to several restaurants, shopping, and the interstate. Excellent staff at the front desk and excellent breakfast! Rooms are VERY clean and updated. I've stayed here many times over the years as I come to Waynesboro for business meetings a few times a year. Excellent price for a great hotel stay every time.

I use to BW app to book my rooms now and find it very easy to use and this guarantees a room when I arrive. This hotel I have stayed at before and the staff is great. Next door is several restaurants and it is easy on/off the exit. I have stayed here before and will stay here again.

Decent hotel, the room was fairly quiet despite being next to the highway. Dog rates were very reasonable. Room was very clean. Breakfast was awful. Front staff was personable and professional. I would stay here again.

We spent the night here as a stop over between the Blue Ridge Parkway and Skyline Drive. Very convenient location for our agenda, easy access to highways and walking distance to great places to eat and many others within very short drive. Free breakfast with our room which is always a plus. Clean comfortable rooms and we stayed with our two goldendoodles (they liked it too). They have a sizeable pet rest area in the back.

We come to Waynesboro at least once a year and we always stay at this particular Best Western. It is always clean and comfortable and the staff is always so friendly. It is right off the interstate and is close to several good eateries. If you're passing through, you should definitely stop here.

I think this hotel will meet your expectations of enjoying a night of rest in your travels. We stayed here with our grands on a recent trip. The room was very clean, staff very friendly, property quiet, and breakfast top notch. We enjoyed the convenience of Cracker Barrel right next door. The only word of advice is it might be a bit confusing finding the street going into the property. The city did not plan the growth well in terms of access roads.

Nice clean rooms. Excellent Staff front desk and housekeeping. Views of the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains from the rooms facing the front of the hotel which is the majority of rooms. Views from the rooms on the back, not so great but quiet. Near excellent food and shopping and the areas tourist sites especially Blue Ridge Parkway and Skyline Drive as well as farms and colleges. Convenient to I-64 and I-81.

this is a clean place and fair value, however we went 2 days without room being freshened up, had to retrieve my own towels on two nights from front desk. Front desk folks nice, but ... Food OK for breakfast, small eating space . The heater does not shut off, and never cycles , I unplugged it for some quiet . Bring your own pillows

It's a very convenient place especially for an 18 wheeler I don't have a sleeper and sleep in hotels 3 nights out of the week and I have stayed in very nice hotels this one was ok, just need some repairs, house keeping and get rid of the odor. The staff was very friendly!

Room was very comfortable. Conference exceptionally well run. Excellent staff. Breakfast was plentiful and adequate. During the conference, coffee and water were available, as were pen and paper, Lunch was fine; well served.

This hotel is located in a convenient area with plenty of restaurants located nearby. The Hotel and rooms are clean. I found the front desk polite and helpful. When traveling alone I feel very safe staying here.

We use this property as a banquet facility and have to say the staff and property is top notch. In addition, we stay and the rooms are excellent but what really makes this place on of the best is the staff. From the front desk staff to Debbie with the banquet management, everyone has always been super helpful, friendly and will do whatever we need.

I'm always leery of finding a good hotel cause of some reviews, but I would recommend this place! The room was "roomy" for a family of four. It seemed very clean & quiet. The staff were nice. We ended up staying a second night & got a room with a beautiful view. We were greeted in elevator by nice lady with a big smile, and I believe she ask how we were, who we later saw was the cleaning lady, I think. (which is always awesome when the staff engages you in a nice conversations & shows care). The breakfast was plentiful & a variety of items to choose from. We always love the waffle makers!

I usually do not stay at Best Western, but I figured I'd try it out. I didn't sleep much. The pillows are size of toddler pillows(I am not joking). They literally have about 5 or 6 going across the bed at an angle they are so small. The bed was not great either, but not nearly as much of an issue as the pillows. The heater/ ac could not be turned off. Has to constantly run. Auto did not work. So hot or cold? Bc unless you constantly get up like I did It's one or the other.

The service was great and the room was very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was great.Did not use the pool or the fitness room. Only problem that we had was the quality of the television and the stations you could receive, but overall the stay was great.

This place is very nice. Our room was very clean and quite. They have real coffee not that instant crap most motels serve. We have stayed in a lot of motels. So far this place is the best. I will definitely stay here again.

We needed accommodation near to where the Skyline Drive meets the Blue Ridge Parkway and this place suited perfectly. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable and our room on the side away from the main road was quiet. The staff were friendly and a good restaurant is a short walk away. The included breakfast was a perfect start to the day. My only criticism was that the pillows were too high for me.

This hotel is affordably priced. It was clean, has breakfast ready at 6AM, and the beds are comfortable. The fitness center is small, but has the basics. It is a great place to stay, especially for business travelers. I will definitely go back.

This facility needs a lot of attention, starting with serving the "Hot" foods actually "HOT". Repair the toilet so that it does not run all night. Replace the light bulbs with ones that can really provide enough light to see with. Install an exhaust fan in the bathroom.

After months of planning our trip, my son and I decided that our first night would be spent in Waynesboro. When we checked in we were greeted quickly and politely. Our room was what we needed: clean, comfortable, cool, and quiet. We both slept well and woke up refreshed to begin our ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway. I will consider staying here again when we are in the area.

The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good. The coffee wasn't that good but the sausage and bacon was great. The kids enjoyed the pool and everything seemed clean. The front desk was friendly and helpful. The room was quite overpriced for a one night stay.

I had requested a quiet room and was initially placed opposite the elevators. This was changed to a room at the end of the hall where the internet worked intermittently only, making it impossible to get work done. The receptionist was unhelpful, blaming my hardware for the internet problem--hardware that I'd used successfully at a Hilton Doubletree the day before (and two days previous to that). The breakfast had little variety and was unattractively presented, with plastic "silverware." It was possible to enter the hotel through exits, rather than through reception, which seems to me a security concern.

TV awful, did not accommodate bed request even after 2 months advance request, food quality is awful, can't darken the room from oppressing outdoor lights at night, disinterested staff, slowest elevators on earth

Great stay for a friend's wedding, very happy with the accommodation. Clean and comfortable! Clinton the front desk agent, should be the manager, he was absolutely wonderful! He truly went above and beyond to help us with our stay. I'd go back anytime!

A very nice stay with all the things I look for in a routine hotel stay - a clean room with comfortable beds... quite (could not hear the occupants of other rooms or doors slamming... plenty of hot water.

Booked into this hotel for start of my motorcycle ride on the Blue Ridge Pkwy knowing most BW cater to bikers by having an area available for cleaning up your bike after a hard day's ride. Desk clerk said they had one and gave me a bucket with all necessary cleaning items, wash rag and towels. Very satisfied with all staff assuring my stay was pleasant. Room was excellent. Whole facility was well kept. Highly recommend BW hotels to all bikers.

Very nice staff and accommodating and very well lit and clean. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I would recommend to my family and friends. I was very pleased. The amenities were very good and the location is very convenient as it is right off of the highway.

Assistant manager was very helpful. Room was comfortable but lighting was poor [bathroom was particularly dark; there was a wall switch that did nothing - it probably was for the light on the wall that should have been there instead of a blank plate. A good choice for Waynesboro.

We highly recommend this BW hotel. Clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, close to restaurants, good location, tasty breakfast and a good value. We always stay in Best Westerns and this was one of the nicest.

The hotel staff was very professional and knowledgeable too. The hotel was very well kept and was close to everything we wanted to go visit. The beds were very comfortable and rooms were big. The breakfast was delicious and lot of choices to select from. Close to entrance to the Shenandoah Valley and the sky ridge drive. Recommend this hotel for your stay.

The hotel is ideally located just off Interstate 64, ten minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway and also the southern entrance to Shenandoah NP. We also explored Charlottesville from here, 30 miles east on the 64. There are plenty eating places close by (Crackerbarrel is in fact right next door). The hotel was bright and fresh and check in was friendly and efficient. The room was very large and spacious, comfortable beds, fresh linens and towels, super new carpet, the usual desk and chair but also a large comfy seat and footstool. The colour scheme was bright and modern and we were not surprised to hear that there had been a recent refurbishment. The bathroom was also a good size with dispensers for the shampoo, cream etc rather than individual bottles. The indoor pool was a great size with plenty seats and loungers. We would have liked some kind of outdoor terrace, however. The grassy area outside the pool had picnic tables but also seemed to be an area for dog walking. Breakfast was good with the usual hot and cold options and a small extended outdoor space to eat in if preferred. Complimentary cookies each evening were a nice touch. We had a great stay here and would not hesitate to recommend to others.

Wonderful ease of access to Skyland Drive and the Blue Ridge Parkway.Hotel is located close to the entry points.This is our second time at this hotel and sure to be many more.We come to enjoy the drive in the mountains on the Parkway.It,s easy to carry a picnick lunch up to the drive from this location.Overall,a great experience for nature mountain lover's.

This was our first time using Best Western. The motel we frequently used was booked. A friend recommended Best Western. We were so very proud pleased and will certainly stay at a BW in the future. I even signed up for rewards.

If you want to feel like you are home and have a comfy bed and excellent front desk and housekeeping services-then Waynesboro Best Western is for you!!! They accept pets and accommodate them as if you were at home with your pets. The housekeeping staff was top of the line and there were always many clean towels and amenities were always stocked. The cleanliness was awesome and the beds were so comfortable you felt like you were sleeping on a cloud-not too soft tho-firm but comfy!!! Front desk catered to your every reasonable whim and was very efficient as to booking and checking out. As well as questions and directing you to where you might like to go to enjoy a meal or an attraction.

We were going to travel the Blue Ridge and this hotel was close to the start. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was sufficient and was in a spacious area. There was gas and restaurants in the area.

Best Western Plus Waynesboro located in Waynesboro, VA is an excellent hotel. My wife and I have stayed there many times through the years and we have always been satisfied with the staff, room, breakfast, etc. The rooms are very comfortable.

Our family enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Plus in Waynesboro. We were in the area for a family gathering and this was a perfect place to spend the nights. All staff were very accommodating and helpful. The hotel common areas and our room were all very clean and updated.

I did some research before booking this hotel and was convinced it was a good choice given the high rating on TripAdvisor. I was quite disappointed after I checked in. The hotel is old, in poor condition, and haven't been cleaned very well. The AC unit was very loud, and the air it blew out smelled. The shower curtain was very dirty and again smelled badly. I'm guessing it hasn't been washed in a few months. Staff was okay but wasn't very helpful when asked about the area. Overall very unhappy with the stay.

My husband and I stayed here for one night, late August 2017. The room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable (except for very thick pillows; I've learned to bring my own; husband sleeps without pillow). Good WiFi. Cookies in the afternoon/evening are a nice touch & tasty. However, egg offerings at breakfast are lacking: hard-boiled or an odd version of fried--synthesized somehow. Not your basic fried egg. Also: no real 1/2&1/2. And I think I got the last packet of plain oatmeal (at 7am, breakfast runs 6-10am). Lots of the flavored stuff available, also grits packets (plain I think).

The staff makes you feel like they appreciate your business! The rooms are clean and the breakfast bar was well kept and had a variety of things to chose from. Great place. We enjoyed our stay! Would highly recommend.

A very clean and welcoming place to rest for a day or longer. The treatment is the same. A nice touch is the tray of assorted warm cookies available at the registration desk. The room was clean and tastefully decorated with 2 queen beds, a desk, tv, of course, microwave and refrigerator. The bathroom was freshly cleaned. The self-serving breakfast was very good especially the waffles. All types of breakfast foods were available to appeal to everyone's tastes. Just had one night, but would have loved to stay longer if I could have.

I give this hotel a B. The place was clean, staff was friendly. Coffee & tea was cold in their convenience center upon arrival. The television screen seemed to be a low grade, low pixels count which gave the program viewing less than crisp look. Maybe it's the cable. The flat screen needs to be of better quality. Within walking distance is a Cracker Barrel.

After driving through the pouring rain on Skyline Drive, we needed a place to rest our heads! We were very happy with the hotel! Everyone was very nice and since we booked online, check in was a snap! Very comfortable beds and clean rooms! Breakfast was good and the area was clean!

The hotel was a fine, the breakfast was great and the room clean. But do bring your own pillow. The ones provided are stiff and very unyielding, my wife and I both woke with stiff necks as a result. Also, see if you can get a room that doesn't have the outside spotlights shining in.

After a 6 hr drive through the Carolinas and most of Virginia any hotel would have worked but I was pleasantly surprised at the modern feel to this hotel on the inside. Room was nice and CLEAN (thats a plus, lol) and breakfast was real nice with a nice selection (Only negative was a SMALL breakfast eating area). If you are in the area I would def recommend this.

Everything at this hotel was pleasing. Convenient from the interstate, clean, helpful staff, great breakfast. Luckily, though, my disabled friend had us to help her. We stayed in what the hotel calls an "accessible" room. The bathtub shower had a seat and bars but side to side transfer from wheelchair was very difficult. The handheld shower was situated at ceiling level. Toiletry dispensers were located for the convenience of a person standing in the shower so not reachable by person on shower bench. The bed was in a cubicle that did not have room beside to approach with wheelchair or walker. Stay here but not if you have very limited mobility.

We require wi-fi in our room and this hotel advertised its availability. It did not work and staff were not capable of offering any help. Said "we had to play with it". Room and breakfast fine but did not overcome this important to us amenity.

My husband and I were on a cross-country trip and stayed only in Best Western Hotels and found the facility in Waynesboro to be clean, easily found, professional, friendly staff. The only thing that wasn't to my satisfaction is the instant coffee in the breakfast area.

Very well maintained. Although all snack machines were empty. But very nice staff and very helpful. Very clean. Quiet area. Was the only hotel in the area that had a room available and was very attentive to us.

We had a very short stay for an annual family gathering. The location of the hotel, the friendly, accommodating staff, the beautiful rooms, the local amenities - we could have stayed for a week and not visited everywhere!

Good size rooms, very comfortable beds, very clean, fully equipped. Ease of access from highway but set back so no highway noise. Rooms well noise insulated because hotels was nearly full but we never heard our neighbors or hall noise. All employees very pleasant but Clinton on evening check in is above and beyond, efficient, friendly and has great knowledge of area for recommendations for restaurants and local sites. Stopped here on our return trip despite knowing we could have traveled further because of it's high comfort level.

Had a great stay here last night. I am a frequent user of best western, and have to say that this is the best one I've stayed in. Friendly and helpful staff, super clean and huge 2 queen room with a very spacious bathroom. Comfortable beds and a large refrigerator. The front desk attendant Adrienne greeted us with a warm welcome and gave us an excellent dinner recommendation, the Green Leaf Grill. Good breakfast with hot and cold items. Many chain restaurants in the area as well as some great local spots if you drive 10 minutes to the historic downtown. A great stay and will definitely visit again next time we are traveling through. Well done!

We highly recommend this Best Western! Our room was very clean, updated, lots of hot water, fridge, coffee, microwave, lots of TV channels! It's situated between a BBQ restaurant and Cracker Barrel. The breakfast was fantastic, including bacon and sausage! Plus, it's only 10 minutes off of Skyline Drive and Blue Ridge Parkway. Most importantly, the staff was friendly!

We had a very nice room. Sitting area with couch, table and chairs plus the remainder was a nice sized bedroom with 2 queens. Nice bath. Location is very good. Close to everything and just off the Interstate. Free breakfast that was better than most. Best was it stayed open till 10 so I got to sleep in. For the money, I doubt you can beat it. Especially in Waynesboro.

We stopped here for a single night after a long trip. We were pleasantly surprised that they acceptted large breed dogs for a $10 fee. The room was bright, clean and very comfortable. The free breakfast was delicious and had several offerings to meet everyone's needs.

We stayed here for the weekend while visiting Shenandoah National Park. It is a 10-15 minute drive from the south entrance. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. Hot breakfast was available in the morning and we thought they had a nice selection. Seating area is small if it's crowded. The bed in our room was comfy and the pillows actually stayed fluffy all night! Only improvement to the rooms would be an exhaust fan in the bathroom - gets very steamy when showering. Pets are allowed as we saw several dogs during our stay. There are several places to eat in the area along with a grocery store and walmart.

Room was very nice, very clean, bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and all in all couldn't have been better. Our whole group of 6 I am sure would agree. If in Waynesboro this is the place to stay.

NOT pet friendly! We specifically selected the Best Western as we were traveling with our dog. When we arrived we were forced to sign an agreement that we would never leave the dog in the room unaccompanied! We had driven all day and were looking forward to a relaxing dinner. I asked the clerk if the hotel had secured an agreement with any local restaurants to allow dogs to accompany their guests. The guy actually laughed at me. Of course no restaurants would allow dogs – even in outside seating areas. After much arguing with my husband, I convinced him to ignore the stupid rule and we left the dog (with her favorite tv channel playing) and we went to dinner. And they charged us a $10 extra “pet friendly' fee. Never had that happen before, but Best Western allows individual franchises to make their own rules. I will stick with La Quinta in the future.

I was impressed with this Hotel from the time I pilled into the parking lot. Check in was a snap, and Clinton answered any question that I had. The cookies were a great plus to welcome me. Breakfast was one of the best that I have ever had at a hotel. All in all, an excellent place to stay.

Nothing to write home about. Desk staff were friendly as were the breakfast staff. Everything was clean. Our bed was somewhat lumpy so it was difficult to get comfortable at first. Good variety for breakfast. Tray of fresh cookies at the front desk was a nice touch. Good stay for the money!

We chose this location mainly because our MINI Cooper group had stayed here before. Since we were going back to the Waynesboro area, it was a natural we checked pricing for rooms for our group. Molly Henderson was able to work out a very acceptable rate for us and she was massively helpful. The place is always clean and well kept. The rooms are large enough to be comfortable, and they are likewise clean and well appointed. We had a room with the whirlpool bath. The wife really enjoyed that. If you're in the Charlottesville, Waynesboro, Staunton area, do yourself a favor and at least check them out for your lodging needs!

I usually do not pick Best Western hotels when traveling. I selected this one as it was the starting off point for a trip through Shenandoah National Park. The location is great - several restaurants nearby as well as a FunPark with batting cages, go-carts, arcades, etc. The hotel quality was awesome!! Rooms are very large, clean and well appointed. The lobby is expansive and very nicely done. Breakfast was clean and had lots of variety. Pool is small but very clean. The staff are super nice. Always had a tray of fresh cookies at the front desk. Almost went out of our way on the way home to stay here again!!

We decided to stay a little away from the crowds visiting Jefferson, Madison and Monroe homes and were very happy with this hotel. Staff was very good and helpful when we needed some local advice. Breakfast was better than most for this type of facility and the room was fresh and clean. The only thing I didn't like was the toiletry dispensers on the inside wall of the shower. They made a narrow shower even narrower - should have been on the other wall. smile

Clean and Comfortable. Easy access to and from the interstate. The breakfast buffet was very nice. The bed was kind of lumpy so I didn't sleep well, but other than that, we had a very pleasant stay. The check in and out staff were also very friendly

This is a high quality physical facility. Internet connection for video was weak. Cooperation of most of the staff was very good with one exception. My wife enjoyed the pool. The breakfast could use more fruit but was generally good. I would use this hotel again Fan noise is a little loud during the night

We we were traveling from PA to the NC beaches and stopped here on the way home. We had never stayed at a Best Western, but we were very happy with this hotel and will definitely stay again. A bonus is that it is pet friendly and, although we didn't have our dog with us this trip, it's nice to know that it is available.

Travelers will not be disappointed should they stay at the Waynesboro Inn. This locations goes beyond the norm in making you feel welcome and comfortable, Location is about 10 miles off of the interstate and is surrounded by great places to eat.

Beautiful place, wonderful breakfast, but the staff is not the friendliest. We arrived very late after traveling most of the day. I had booked on trip advisor while we traveled. When we arrived we were informed that we couldn't get the gift card promotion because I had booked through a third party. We had just spent two nights in another Beat Western which I booked the same way and still received the discount and the AAA match. The suite, however, was beautiful and spacious. Breakfast was the best of the 3 hotels we had for the trip. Unfortunately, the staff was the most unfriendly of the trip.

There's not much to do in Waynesboro, but it's pretty country and we were there for a family wedding. This hotel was a step up from the others and satisfactory in all areas save one, no bar or restaurant. They do serve the typical breakfast most provide and they did it nicely. The room was very comfortable and the staff courteous and pleasant. Unfortunately the only restaurants nearby are Applebee's, Cracker Barrel and the unique bbq spot, the Fishing Pig. We actually lost weight on this weekend lol

Nice pool- pretty much had to too ourselves and location off of the highway. This was a lower part of the trip from Shenandoah National park. Breakfast was good but got very crowded and there was no where to sit. Room was quiet.

Nice double room on the 4th floor. Comfortable and spacious with a seating area and desk. WiFi was a little slow and required multiple log-ins. Bath was a little small but well equipped including in shower soap, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers. Room had a door for adjoining convenience but was noisy with people in next room. Breakfast was pretty good

The Best Western was not my 1st choice; but it worked for a 1 night stop over. The Front desk staff was courteous, friendly, and efficient. We were put in a handicapped room so my wife was not happy she could not take a bath. There is only shampoo and soap dispensers mounted on the walls, the shower soap dispenser was empty but the desk filled it up quickly. They had good cookies in the afternoon and the free breakfast was pretty good. There are lots of chain restaurants close by some within walking distance. All in al the price was right; I would stay there again for a 1 nighter but probably not for a longer stay.

Comfortable, clean and spacious king suite...this pet friendly hotel was idea for our visit to Waynesboro and southern Skyline Drive...the breakfast was decent too...I recommend this hotel, especially to those traveling with pets

We were looking for a hotel to stay at the night before we were scheduled to visit Monticello. We were so happy we picked this one. It was very attractive and clean. The staff we interacted with were all very courteous. Breakfast was very good. It's close to several good chain restaurants including Cracker Barrel and Outback Steakhouse. There was a beautiful view of the mountains. The next morning, it was an easy drive to Monticello for our tour.

We stayed in this hotel a couple nights for our friends' wedding. The staff were very professional and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The rooms were exceptionally quiet and were large enough to accommodate our baby's pack-and-play. The bedding was quite good for the price point, although I would not call it superior. The same goes for the bathroom - not very big, but not too small either. Our preschool-aged son really enjoyed the small indoor pool. It was plenty warm and the facility was quite clean and comfortable. The daily breakfast was standard free-breakfast fare with nothing special of note. There are a couple restaurants within a block of the hotel, so visitors can easily stray to find something more to their liking. My biggest gripe about the hotel is the slow single elevator. When not laden with gifts or luggage, we took the stairs from our top floor room; but waiting for the lift to arrive meant long waits - over 10 minutes on one occasion. If you stay, I'd recommend getting a room on the first or second floor and away from the elevator to have an easier time coming and going.

Excellent service, particularly at check in. Have stayed at the Best Western Plus Waynesboro Inn & Suites Conference Center 3 different times over a period of two years. Friendly, clean rooms, and good service. We travel a lot and this hotel is a cut above! Also great location with many restaurant choices and easy access to getting around.

Wished we could stay longer, but had to hit the road. Breakfast was great, and the pool looked very inviting. From check in to check out, all of the staff were spot on and professional. Only down side was that it was located slightly out of the way from the highway we were traveling on, but the extra drive was worth to stay at a clean hotel like this one.

I needed a place for my parents in southern Ohio to meet up with me, my daughter and new grandbaby, and my sister, all living in various towns in Virginia. The Best Western Plus met all of our requirements: a room with a king size bed, a suite with 2 queen beds and a sitting area with a sleeper sofa, centrally located, with a pool and fitness room, and restaurants within walking distance. We arrived at 1:30 and were checked in and given our room keys immediately; the staff was professional and helpful, the facility was spotless, the fitness center had really functional equipment, and the saltwater pool was clean and warm. We had a great visit, and would definitely stay there again!

Stayed here 1 nite on our Skyline Dr and BRP trip. Modern place, big king room with micro and frig. The front staff person was very friendly and seemed proud to work here. Hot and cold breakfast. Plenty of free parking and strong free WiFi. There was a pool, gym and business center but we didn't use them. Of course there were free cookies and newspapers at the front desk. Extra bonus...A cracker barrel right next door. I strongly recommend this hotel for business or pleasure.

Friendly hotel, well situated to enter the Shenandoah park and close to lots of eateries. Room nicely decorated in blue and a king size bed. Comfortable sleep and spacious room. Noticed that some rooms had two queen size beds. Indoor pool available from 08h00 till 22h00. Friendly reception, breakfast offers a variety of things including hot breakfast. Wi-Fi excellent, even works outside the hotel.

We've stayed here on 2 VA vacations because they are one of few hotels in Waynesboro/Charlottesville who accommodate larger dogs (reasonably). Hotel is clean, staff friendly & helpful, and location is easy on/off I-64, convenient to restaurants (literally located between Cracker Barrel & the recently opened Fishin' Pig smokehouse/bbq), fuel, shopping. There is a grassy dog-park area with picnic tables & doggy-doo bags; also ample parking area for dogs to take their people on a stroll. Hotel was in process of redecorating (April). Available at the front desk for guests - 3 different newspapers (USA Today & 2 local/area) & 3 types of cookies.

We were welcomed to the hotel by Missy (she was very courteous and helpful) and warm cookies. Our room was large with ample spaces for setting things down and included a microwave and refrigerator. The pool was a nice size and the pleasant temperature allowed for a relaxing swim. Breakfast was ready by 5:30 and included waffles, yogurt, pastries, fresh fruits, and a variety of other breakfast items including sandwiches to go. The eating area was large and kept clean. The other common areas were also spotlessly clean and offered a place to relax. WiFi worked well and the business center had two working computers. We would stay in this hotel if we were in the area again.

The hotel looks a little dated, but it's clean. Our desk chair was worn and the carpet in the hallways had runs and tears. The bathroom was fairly small. It was hard to get in and out as the door almost touched the toilet. And, I didn't really like the showerhead. But, they have pumps of soap and shampoo on the wall instead of travel-sized bottles, which was unique. The room was very quiet. We couldn't hear anybody and even the A/C unit was quiet. There are a lot of restaurant choices nearby, including some within walking distance.

We had a wonderful weekend being with our family for Easter!!! We liked it that is so close to the restaurants, Wal-Mart, Target, and etc. The beds were comfortable, the hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and professional. I would recommend this hotel!!! We will be coming again!! :)

Flight was delayed was not able to get to the hotel. Talked to the hotel staff and they would not reimburse for the cost of the room. Thought that due to circumstances against my control the hotel would be lenient on the cancelation policy but they went. I would highly considered staying here if you plans are hard set as they won't give your money back.

This hotel was great. It wasn't a dump at all. The staff there was wonderful, we had a terrible experience at a hotel that was near them and we went looking for another and happened to go to them and I'm glad we did. With it being a Best Western I thought it was an overall great hotel.

Stayed for 3 nights in Waynesboro during a visit to the Charlottesville/Skyline Drive area. Comfortable beds, good breakfast, courteous staff and convenient location. Would stay here again when in this beautiful area.

Stayed at Best Western in Waynesboro because my son had an early morning appointment in Charlottesville. Would recommend Best Western in Waynesboro, the only issue I had was that the shower was out of conditioner, I would stay again and plan on it.

I had a great experience. The hotel was clean and the internet connection was solid. The hotel was close to several restaurants, stores and highway access. Overall this was a very good choice and made for an easy trip.

Excellent stop over for dog friendly accommodations with a REASONABLE pet fee. We travel extensively with our dogs and it was great to find clean quality accommodations at such a great rate. Hotel Staff were outstanding. We will definitely make this our new stop over place during our frequent travels.

Each year we travel to Virginia for family birthday parties. This is the second time we've stayed at this hotel and it is a great value and a great place to stay. It has great food options around the hotel. The room has lots of space including a sitting area with a couch and table. Always very clean and the staff are courteous.

Close to everything but not in the middle of everything. Wonderful Staff. Clean Rooms and the bed is VERY Comffortable. My family calls it SLEEPING ON A CLOUD! Even though the hotel is not the cheapest - I pay a little more to get a little more.

We stayed on our way home from Georgia to RI. After 7 hours on the road (w/ 2 grandkids) it was nice to pull into a warm welcoming hotel. Our clerk Clint was a joy to talk with. The room/suite was large and super clean and comfortable! The pool delightful and several great places to eat within walking distance! Breakfast was really really good with real eggs - not scrambled! Fresh fruit, breads, bagels and hot waffles with all the trimmings! We will definitely stay here again!

I always look for a pet-friendly hotel. Some that advertise as such clearly would rather their guests not bring a pet. This hotel was full of pets and that means it is a very pet-friendly hotel. If we go back to Waynesboro, we'll use this hotel.

Allows pets and doesn't cost and arm and a leg. Our pet was making noise and disturbing other patrons, when they called to advise me they called the wrong number, not the contact number on my contract.

Nothing outstanding about this hotel. I guess a case of getting what you pay for. Airconditioner was so noisy that we unplugged it. Bathroom pretty tired and needs some maintenance. Clinton the desk manager was outstanding with his help and very friendly.

We could not figure out what the plus meant. The breakfast room was very small and quite crowded. People were actually waiting for a place to sit. The room was clean and included the standard furnishings of most hotels. Breakfast was basic. The hotel is located close enough to the entrance to Skyline Drive and not that far from Charlottesville.

We stayed at the Waynesboro Best Western while visiting University of Virginia. While it is 25 miles away form UVa, it was a 15 minute drive to the campus. The room met expectations. It was spacious enough for 4, it was clean, has a nice view of the mountains and the bathroom came stacked with shampoo, soap and conditioner dispenser. The shampoo, etc. was of good quality similar to what you would find in a high end gym like Lifetime. The breakfast was outstanding. I've had free hotel breakfasts many times, in many cities. This was by far the best. Real fried eggs, real bacon cooked perfectly crisp, real sausage patties and great biscuetts & gravy, it was deleicious. The staff kept the area clean and stocked with fresh food throught the morning. I highly recommend this hotel. It was a great expereince for the price.

When we travel, we usually stay at a BW if there is on around. We were in town for a wedding and had 2 options of where we could stay, so we chose the BW because we are members of their club. The lobby was nice as was the breakfast area. Our room decor was interesting, the beds comfy and the room was clean.

Great price for excellent service. Clean rooms, experienced, courteous staff, comfortable beds, wifi that works, good TV reception, excellent breakfast choices. Good location with easy on/off. Close to a variety of good restaurants. Thanks for this.

We stayed here because of its high rating on Trip Advisor and its proximity to Shenandoah National Park and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The hotel staff was friendly and welcoming, and we appreciated that a lot! The room was a basic type of room (even for a king suite) and not very clean (half-hearted cleaning job). The mattress was horrible and way too hard and the pillows were all the same - way too firm with very little give (like sleeping on a spring covered with foam). I would have slept just as well on the floor. Also, no in-room safes and the coffee in the rooms tasted terrible. The complimentary breakfast had decent variety but nothing spectacular, and the tables in the breakfast area were mostly dirty. Overall, I feel $215 a night was way overpriced for this place and I wouldn't stay here again.

Whenever I visit Waynesboro, I stay at the Best-Western. It is close by everything I need to see and do. They have a heated indoor pool and a very nice breakfast. The staff is helpful and take care of the guests. Skyline Drive is close by as is the Blue Ridge Parkway. Of course the brew ridge trail on Nelson County route 151 as well as several wineries and cider places. Alot to see and do. Also, try Seven Arrows Brewery which is close by. There are a number of restaurants near the Best-western hotel, some within walking distance. Cracker barrel is next door.

This hotel is about 20 min off the Blue Ridge Parkway. We had a good stay here. Our room was clean, with a good bed, and a good bath. It was what we would expect from a BW+. There was some hall noise.

Beautiful hotel, friendly service and great accommodations. The staff are kind and helpful. So nice to have breakfast included. That's a convenience we appreciate. Also needed wifi and that worked out well. We will definitely return here !

Not the greatest - just very economical. Could be cleaner - right in the middle of a busy area for casual dining ect. I would head up the rode the Charlotteville - if you are looking for things to do ect.

Best Western Plus Waynesboro Inn & Suites Conference Center was a great disappointment to us during our stay in October, 2016. The hotel is definitely not worthy of its supposed reputation. We encountered a number of issues: - the soap dispenser in our bathroom was broken (and even after a 'repair' continued to leak over the counter and be a problem - the floor was obviously not vacuumed before we entered the room; there were M&Ms and peanut skins on the rug - we discovered more peanut skins in one of the beds, making us wonder about the cleanliness of the sheets - the counter in the bathroom was pulling away from the wall - there was a rag stuck in the electrical room door to hold it open for two days - an open garbage bag was left in the elevator - the complimentary breakfast was fair at best, and there was no staff on duty in the room to assist when items became scarce - including the coffee that was not fresh and tasted very bitter; we ended up eating at the Waffle House next door for our last day. We found this experience to be a major disappointment.

Clean cozy room with plenty of space to move around. The pool is somewhat small but very relaxing. Stones throw away from several restaurants. You can quickly walk to any of them. Very patient people a the front desk.

Hotel was nice, regular type of breakfast with waffles and sausage patties. Very nice pool with warm water! No hot tub here! Bed was comfy and the room was overall clean. They have microwave and fridge. If you can catch a good price here its a great place to stay whether you go to Shenandoah National Park or heading down the Blue Ridge Parkway!

I had another very good experience at a Best Western and I'm pleasantly surprised. Staff was good and friendly. Rooms were large and comfortable. I didn't like the dispensers in the shower and at the bathroom sink for shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion, but I understand it's probably less expensive that way. They will most likely have issues with the large and poorly placed dispensers in the shower. I hit my elbow on them a couple of times. The food was okay, about what you would expect. Plenty of parking.

I have stayed here on multiple occasions. It is a perfect place to stay when riding the Blue Ridge Parkway or Skyline Drive. The hotel is in very good condition and the guest rooms are very clean and comfortable. Its a bit of a hike to get to one of the many restaurants in the area (except for Cracker Barrel next door). The great location is reflected in the price which I think is a bit steep for a BW not located a major city.

I travel professionally and have done so for 20 years. I have stayed at hotels all over the United States and and this Best Western in Waynesboro, VA ( a comfortable mountain town about an hour west of Charlottesville ) is the only one I really look forward to coming to. There are pricier hotels in the area which are well within my expense range, but I always come here. The rooms are well laid out and comfortable, and everything is very clean. There is also a nice hot breakfast (complimentary) breakfast every day. However it's the staff which makes this such a nice place. They have always bent over backwards to accommodate me. The most recent example ( and what triggered this review) was their successful efforts to change me to a specific type of room on no notice at a time when they were booked solid. I don't normally write reviews, and this one probably gushes a bit, but it is sincere.

nice hotel, rooms were average, internet a little on the slow side. really disappointed in the free breakfast that was bragged about during booking. almost completely baron 40 minutes prior to cut off time. Not even coffee. kind of disappointed for families with kids especially

I've only stayed in one other BW Plus and it was much nicer than this one. Upon walking in the room there was a dirty wash cloth laying in the bathroom floor. This made we question how well they actually clean/go over the rooms. The pen left out on desk had teeth/bite marks all over it. Why not just put out a new one?? And lastly the mattress looked awful. Pictures attached. Unfortunately I didn't discover this until the next morning. Wouldn't stay again. I felt it was very overpriced and unclean. Disappointing.

Nice room, good breakfast, good bed, towels,etc. Front desk clerk extremely helpful helping with problem I had with BW rewards.. Plenty of places to eat in area. Breakfast had lots of choices including fresh berries

Hotel was very nice. The breakfast has hot and cold items and a decent variety. They have a nice pool which we used and also take pets. Nice area for the pets to use and plenty of space to walk them. We even had a small party for my granddaughters third birthday which the hotel agreed too.

Stayed here Sept. 17th. Front desk person delightful. Room very basic. Light on desk needed a good cleaning as did the telephone. Bedspread was of really low quality and the 4 pillows which looked very nice on the bed were just big bloops of foam....all made for a terrible nights sleep. Not our usual Best Western experience.

This is a really nice hotel with a friendly staff, excellent hot breakfast, and quiet, spacious rooms. The bathroom has Natura amenities dispensers which are great for cutting down on the amount of products that end up being discarded. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here as I was in town for my niece's wedding, and this was only about 15 minutes away from the reception hall. Wonderful hotel with great service, and a nice variety of options (hot and cold) for breakfast. Rooms are clean, and the staff is very friendly.

This hotel was extremely busy when we checked in but the staff was friendly and helpful. There was fresh coffee and cookies in the lobby. The room was quiet and clean. We had a great nights rest. The room receipt was put under the door so check out was fast and easy.

Excellent location just off highway. Book online as they did not honor our online pricing because we just walked in. Very clean room in the king suite room # 415 (I believe). They have a indoor pool. breakfast was just ok. Comfortable bed, fridge and microwave. TV not high definition. Price was about right for location and quality of room. We would definitely stay here again.

Book online or they may not honor the rate. breakfast was ok, not great.Mostly cold food, eggs and bacon ok waffles were good. plenty of parking and the parking was close to front desk. pool is not huge but good for a quick swim.

The location, Staff and facility are first class. This location is suitable for any type of trip and is located among numerous restaurants and shopping opportunities. Located minutes from the Skyline Drive and Blue Ridge Parkway and 20 minutes from Staunton and Charlottesville. Perfect location for those traveling by motorcycle.

We checked into our hotel room around 9:00pm, was greeted my super friendly staff at the front desk, however once we arrived into our room I was trying to settle my daughter down by giving her a bath, I found that the bathtub was covered in public hair ?? and that whatever water they'd used to clean had been left in the tub an not properly drained! I went down to the front desk to request cleaner an rather ask what it was for they just gave it to me. During checkout I have them all this information an wasn't accommodated at all, I will NOT be returned to this location.

This time we got a better room but the ottoman was not clean. I asked in the special request form upon making the reservation online and the same at the front desk. They assured me that the room would be clean. They need to MAKE SURE that the furniture is clean as well. We decided to put a towel on the ottoman, but this happened one other time at the same hotel! I will inspect the room next time before accepting it, something we shouldn't have to do.

we booked for three nights whilst visiting the area on vacation from Australia. The room was spacious, clean, the bed was very comfortable, we had a front room which meant a little traffic noise but not excessive. Overall the hotel was very clean and tidy, the complimentary breakfast was good especially the crispy bacon. The question is would we stay there again if we happened to be in the area, yes.

My husband and I decided to book a last minute mountains get away. We stayed here Labor Day weekend. We needed a pet friendly hotel so we could bring our dog along. We booked a King suite . The room was very nice, bed was comfortable. I was concerned about a "dog friendly" room....didn't know how it might look, smell, etc.. There were no problems with this room at all. Could not tell any pets had stayed. Breakfast downstairs was very good. Lots to choose from. I would def stay here again.

This is a relatively new hotel, very clean and quiet, very comfortable bed. The staff were very friendly. There is a Cracker Barrel adjacent and other restaurants within reasonable walking distance. Breakfast area is nice and offers a good selection of items.

Right off the highway but a little hard to find. Follow the signs to Paneera Bread and Cracker Barrel. I've been there multiple times and really like the place. Very clean and plentiful breakfast too.

Very clean hotel with nice pool and surrounding grounds with picnic tables so you can enjoy the view while you eat!. Breakfast was the usual kind of breakfast you get at most hotels but really liked the extra crispy bacon. We were there on a very busy weekend but found the staff very nice and accommodating. The cleaning staff does a great job of cleaning rooms and we really appreciate that. I would recommend that a customer bring their own shampoo and conditioner --- there is a dispenser for this in the shower but not quite up to what I use.

I travel from MA to FL several times a year (vacation home in FL) and taking I95 is never happening again. I am on the west coast of FL so I75 works well and it is an easy connection to I81. This BW+ is just off the interstate, easy to get to and completely worth it! It is clean, comfortable, friendly, the rooms are big, the complimentary breakfast was very good and it will be a stopping point for me from now on. The pictures speak for themselves, next time I am there I would like to try the pool. They also have an outdoor eating area just off the breakfast room, nice touch. Also, the bathrooms have soap, shampoo and lotion dispensers, no need to worry about the little tube running out.

Very clean and quiet. Refrigerator fairly big. Cool art on the walls of the room. Fitness center was nice. Free cookies at checkin as well as USA Today and local newspaper. Staff was friendly. Breakfast slightly above average. They had biscuits with egg and sausage to be heated up along with the usual stuff. We stayed here after completing Blue Ridge Parkway and before Skyline Drive. At reception there are sheets of paper giving directions from the hotel back to the parkways.

We have stayed here in the past on other trips to the area. The carpets do need to be cleaned, and the breakfast is average. But overall and ok place. It is convenient to stay here. Will most likely stay here again in future trips to the area.

MY wife and I returned here for another great stay. We had a very nice King room with plenty of space. We had an easy check-in a very clean room plenty of amenities. A very nice salt water indoor pool. A very nice outside area to sit a very good breakfast area with a great selection. Easy access to both The Blue Ridge Parkway and Skyline drive. Very helpful with directions to both. A nice check-out.

While the conference center was very nice and perfect for our event, our room was very musty/moldy and the ice bucket had been left with water standing in it by a previous guest of the room. The overall cleanliness of the room was below average.

I had no reservation but was able to get a room at 8:30 pm - thanks! We were headed to Dillwyn to visit relatives in the morning and got good advice about dinner, as well as all the complimentary breakfast we needed. Everything worked in the room; the room and the night were quiet (amazing considering how close we were to the highway). Easy access and visible from the highway.

Our group of 32 motorcyclists stayed here for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. The hotel is located away from noise and traffic. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable. Breakfast included a wide variety of items. We enjoyed the cookies available at the front desk. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.

Leslie took our telephone reservation and ultimately checked us in. She was very pleasant and efficient. Our pet friendly room was on the third floor and very nicely appointed. Would definitely recommend this property.

I stayed here for 2 nights on the second floor. The first night my they had a SPCA fundraiser (I was unaware of before booking) that played loud bass music until 12pm. The thumping was non-stop and made the walls vibrate. I called front desk to make a complaint and was told that unfortunately sometimes they have music, it was a fundraiser, they were a conference center and it wouldn't be over until midnight. So basically, i was s.o.l. The guy was nice and got them to close the doors which helped but still, I was on vacation and couldn't go to bed until after midnight. I still gave the hotel 4 stars because the room was pretty clean, the bed was comfortable and the girl who checked me in was wonderful. I was just disappointed about the music and sleep. Decent hotel but check to see if they have any parties going on before you book. I feel I should have been discounted for that evening but that was not offered to me.

Nothing special, on the one hand, although fresh and free cookies - on the other hand nothing at all wrong - comfy and clean, convenient location, completely serviceable. Breakfast was decent, waffles, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, pastries - fear not staying here, should meet all basic needs very nicely

Definitely a good deal. The room was nice and clean, the place looked nice, the breakfast was decent enough, good location, and it was very affordable. I appreciate getting three newspapers at the front desk; cookie's a nice touch. You can pay $10 or $15 dollars less for the dregs, or go to this nice place

Great hotel and very pet friendly, only problem area is operation the TV not very user friendly. breakfast is good and great having coffee available 24/7. going to stay here on our next trip north. well worth the stay

Clean, nice, modern. I could hear our neighbors' voices and a dog bark through the walls. Breakfast was ok. Scrambled eggs did not seem to be real food, kind of gross, but there were enough other items to eat. Did not use pool and exercise room but they looked nice. Got a good price through Trip Advisor so it was worth it to stay here and drive to Skyline Drive as opposed to staying in the Shenandoah National Park.

Our experience in this hotel was that it was clean, comfortable and quiet. We used this hotel as a jumping off place for our visit to the Blueridge Parkway and Shenandoah National Park. The breakfast was good, beds comfortable. We had a great experience!

The room had very poor lighting, small bathroom counter, damp and a very loud ac where we couldn't sleep. It was clean but could be bettet. The beds were not that comfortable. The shampoo, conditioner and soap were in push button containers. Not very handy to use while in the shower. We bring our own from home. Would not stay at a best Western.

Very friendly staff. Everything looks like it was either new or recently renovated. Everything about the room was great (except the water pressure). My only complaint was about the breakfast that was included. The food looked hideous so we took off and ate somewhere else. I would stay here again since the main thing I want is a good night's sleep.

very nice, comfortable hotel. People are friendly and helpful. Rooms nicely appointed. Nice salt water pool. The only drawback is only one elevator, and it was very slow. We were on the 4th floor, so a few times we had to use the stairs. During peak rush hours, the wait was way too long. Also, the pricing is right at the top of the range for this area, and there are many others nearby for less.

We stopped here on our way home from Carolina Beach. Conveniently located off of Rt 64, with a ton of places to eat! Staff was very friendly. Rooms were very clean, beds and pillows were amazing and much needed after the drive. This hotel was much better then the Hilton we stayed in on our way down to NC!!!

We previously stayed here at the Best Western because it was dog friendly. We wanted to visit a few wineries in the area, and brought our dog again this time. So happy to report that it still is as good as the last time. Staff was friendly, and the dog areas are perfect. This time we even ate breakfast (very nice hot breakfast included) with our dog out at the picnic tables. Great place to stay when traveling with man's best friend!

Great place to stay! Clean and very comfortable. After driving all day we were very pleased to find this place. It was a three star hotel but I would have given it a four or five. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Free breakfast and wifi is good too!! I would definitely stay again! The bed was cozy too!

Nice beds, great air-conditioned rooms. Lighting in rooms were very poor/dim, windows need shades to block out the light, and breakfast was okay, not the best. I don't do watery eggs. After a long and hot day of traveling it was a pretty good place to rest.

This is a nice BW, looked like parts have been refurbished. Nice size room, smallish bathroom, but good amenities. We had a couple minor complaints but would definitely recommend and stay again. Breakfast was mostly good. They have a nice pool and very friendly staff.

Thank God there was a room available. We traveled the Blue Ridge Mountains for a 10 day trip. We had planned this trip of course you could not see the rooms/hotels we unfortunately booked a room at a local hotel that was a train wreck. Scary!!! But drove down the road and because of Best Westerns history of being kind to you and your pets we pulled in there first of potential 8 hotels. This property was so clean and refreshing!! The pool was very very clean and towels put out every day on the chairs. Fresh cookies and the most lovely king sweet for tired travelers including our dog. I would highly recommend this if you are traveling the Blue Ridge is its a 5 minute drive there and coming back to this room after being there all day was so excellent. The breakfast was hot and great, and the area was very safe unlike the original hotel we booked on the other end of town. There was every restaurant you could imagine in walking distance! Book this hotel. Out of the 10 day stay up and down the Blue Ridge this was the best!

One of the best hotels I have had the pleasure of staying at on my business trips will highly recommend to all of my friends and colleagues. Comfortable, quiet and clean with a really good breakfast bar and friendly staff.

We had a very well appointed room. The hotel is very modern, with helpful and friendly staff. It has an excellent indoor pool, and there is a Cracker Barrel shop/restaurant within close walking distance.

My husband and I really enjoyed our two night stay at this clean and comfortable hotel. We chose Waynesboro for its proximity with Appomatox Court House, the Natural Bridge, the Blue Ridge Parkway and Charolottesville. After a day of driving and site seeing, it was comforting to come back to our room to relax, have a cup of coffee with cookies, and not have to drive far to grab dinner. Get a room on the 3rd floor and enjoy the views of the mountains. Great location and friendly staff.

Stayed here while visiting local hospital. The hotel is clean and well-maintained, but the staff is the greatest asset. A perfect all-around experience. I travel for work and family, and this is one of two or three hotels I cannot fault in even the smallest way.

My fiance and I stayed here over the weekend to ride our motorcycles on the Blue Ridge Parkway and could not have been happier with our stay. Great location. Large parking lot for both our truck and trailer. Large clean rooms. Our request for the top floor was honored at check in as well. We got great slept and it was nice and quiet, despite a large number of kids staying this weekend for a swim competition. We enjoyed the hotel breakfast as well. Lots of good hot coffee and the area was kept clean. Will stay again!!

We stayed at Best Western Plus in Waynesboro for 3 nights. We arrived late and had notified the inn that we would be in after 9 pm. Check in was quick and we had a room with a king bed that was clean and very roomy, but was undergoing some renovation. There was some fairly fresh drywall mud in the "closet" area which really didn't affect us except we wanted to be sure our hanging clothes didn't touch it. The AC fan runs all the time unless you press a button on the power cord. It does cool the room quickly. The beds were comfortable and if you like bouncy pillows, you'll like them at this motel. Breakfast was good with a nice selection of cereal, fruit, pastries, waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage and toppings along with milk, coffee and juices. We did not use any of the amenities (pool, exercise room) on this trip. The motel is easily located and near several restaurants (Panera, Five Guys....) as well as the entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Upon checkout, our bill was more than quoted. A quick check with the front desk showed that we had been in a king suite when we had reserved only a king room. Apparently there were no king rooms available when we checked in late so we were upgraded to a king suite but they forgot to adjust the price. The price was adjusted on check out which was quick and we were on our way. I would recommend staying at this motel as it was clean, the staff very friendly, comfortable beds, good breakfast, and it is in a good location in Waynesboro.

The entire hotel facility and staff made our stay very comfortable. The hotel is in a location that has a good variety and selection of restaurants. It is also situated near numerous tourist attractions. The dining room was clean and the breakfast food was very good.

This hotel is the perfect location for enjoying the National Park, Blue Ridge Parkway, and other Virginia beautiful locations. The hotel is clean, comfortable, easy off interstate and lots of places to eat including a Cracker Barrel next door. Fresh cookies great you on check in and hot coffee in the morning. The warm salt water pool instantly refreshing after a day in the car.

We booked on Hotwire and picked the higher class of hotel. The full breakfast with eggs and meats made up for the price difference. This place was every thing we expected. My only complaint would be the dirty carpet trails in the room, I'm shocked they don't clean the carpet. Bed was very comfy!

Stayed here with my college aged daughter while she looked for an apartment. Booked through Hotwire which I do all the time. I have never had any problem with any other hotel when it comes to changing rooms. We needed 2 beds but they gave us one King instead. I asked to change to a room with 2 beds. They refused stating they could not make any changes to a third party booking. I asked if they were full. No, not even half full. Yet they refused to accommodate our needs. The hotel itself was nice enough. But I hate staying anywhere that has such lousy customer service. Again, I have had to change rooms at many hotels after booking through Hotwire. So, not quite sure what their problem was but did not appreciate it at all!

The Staff, the food, cleanliness or the hotel and room, and the convenience to the interstate were most excellent. Everything was most excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel and chain to others, whether for business or personal travel.

I've stayed at this hotel before. It is nice and conveniently located. Friendly staff. Many restaurants are located nearby. If you have a room facing the front of the hotel, you have a nice view of the mtns. Also, our room was located across from the elevator and we heard no noise from it or from any nearby rooms. Comfortable bed, but the pillows are very poofy, which I had a problem with. Other than that, I am staying here again in August.

Just stayed 1 night as attended a wedding in Crozet...lovely stay...all very kind and helpful and pleasant. Always try to stay at Best Western Hotels as never really disappointed. They have the most comfortable beds and one always likes free coffee/breakfast.

If traveling the Blue Ridge Parkway, I would highly recommend this hotel as an option for your overnight lodging. Clean, reasonable price and great breakfast. Also pet friendly for those of you traveling with your 4 legged friends.

Our king room was large and comfortable. The hotel is easily accessible from the highway with several restaurants close by. We found the staff to be pleasant and friendly. The hotel honors military retirees by giving them the Government/Military rate.

Our room was huge. We had a king room and we walked into a room as big as a condo! There was a full kitchen and everything to cook a complete meal. I think the tv was at least a 60". There was a big event at the hotel with at least 200 teenage kids on the first floor, but being on the fourth floor we never heard a sound. The full breakfast was very filling and had plenty of variety. The only downside was the price was much more than expected. But, due to graduations in the area there wasn't too many options.
