Best Western Olde Maritime Motor Inn

We stayed for 2 nights, extremely helpful when booking to ensure we had the best room, check in easy, room beautiful, spotlessly clean and newly refurbished. The Clovelly restaurant was a lovely spot to sit in the sun for an afternoon drink and the meals were great. All the staff were so friendly. We will definitely be back.

This Hotel is in the outskirts of Warinombool but easy enough to find. The young gentleman who checked me in was very polite and friendly. Our room was on the level and was spacious and clean, although the bathroom was a little snug, but functional. Once again the twin superior consisted of one medium size bed and one small, the actual owner explained that that's how Australias describe a twin room, but in the UK & States we'd expect the two beds to be the same size. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel, and I'm pleased to say we also ate there.

Very nice, clean, and spacious. We stayed in the family suite with mezzanine. Lots of room, cosy vibe, and seem to be newly refurbished. Netflix for both TV's. Beds are comfortable. No lift though. Receptionist was also friendly. If there is an EV charging facility would be better.

I was genuinely surprised. The room was clearly brand new and had honestly enough for our one night stay. The beds were comfy, the bathroom was great (maybe a little on the small side but totally worked for our family of three). The location was brilliant with a short walk to town and actually dinner. We would totally stay again!

There are a few accommodation options in Warrnambool however I cannot recommend this motel enough. The team are incredibly helpful (shout out to Courtney and Raj). Great location. Fantastic restaurant/bar. 2 bed apartment was perfect.

The room was very tiny and the bathroom was literally so small it was difficult to dry off after a shower. Worst thing was the bed. It was soft, saggy, and uncomfortable so we woke up tired every morning. We had much nicer rooms for less cost on the same trip. The location, staff, and service was fine but with many other accommodations available in the same area I won't go back.

The warmest welcome and friendliest stay in the area! A room is very much the same which ever motel/hotel you select, but getting a team that are so genuinely committed to the customer is rare. The accommodation and food was also fantastic, no hassles trying to find a supermarket or restaurant, simply enjoy the on site restaurant and bar. Thank you Raj, Bronwyn, Beth, and the rest of the team for your hospitality; I will certainly be returning.

This is centrally located and of high standards in every way. Raj and the team make sure that you get all your requirements. We were part if the AHSDC car club and had a great time around Warnambool. Lots of nice restaurants and the sound and light show at Flagstaff hill(hop , step and jump from the motel) is a ‘must do'.

Great facilities and very attentive staff - our room was as you would expect, really nothing to complain about with very good beds and quality linen. Bathroom a little tight but fresh and very clean. Very quiet location just unfortunate that it was a very wet few days however again staff very helpful to assist with getting about Warrnambool, thank you.

This motel is first class all round. The service the rooms and the food all first class, we couldn't fault it. From the moment we arrive and checked in the friendly and welcoming . This is a must stay. You can't beat their service quality and location. One oof the best we've stayed in. We'll be back for sure.

I have stayed here previously and very deliberately returned when again in Warrnambool for business. This is one of the most guest-friendly hotels I have stayed in, with Raj leading the way with his affability, helpfulness and warmth. Check in and out is a breeze and nothing seems to be too much trouble. My heritage room was spacious, fully of character and well-appointed, if a little lacking in soft furnishings. Dinner in the restaurant offers a much better than average meal, with again, very attentive and helpful waiting staff. The quality of the pancakes I had freshly delivered to my door with a delightful latte for breakfast was outstanding. It is not surprising that, yet again the hotel was booked out (on a Monday night) when so many other hotels had vacancies. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. Warm welcome by super friendly staff. Plenty of room for our car. A la cart breakfast with plenty of choice and good! Room (studio for 3) was spacious and clean. Hotel is just a short walk to centre. Would stay again.

The two bedroom unit was comfortable, appropriately furnished and well located to town's amenities. The accommodation was perfect for our needs which is why we choose to stay there while in Warrnambool. The staff are helpful and l after our requirements when needed.

I was travelling alone for business and the staff member called Courtney was fabulous, she checked me in with a smile and remembered my name when I went to the onsite restaurant later that day for dinner. My room was clean and tidy with everything I needed for my stay, including a desk and plenty of charging stations. The restaurant food was delicious and very reasonable in price, the sticky date pudding is a must, absolutely worth every calorie! I will definitely stay at Best Western Olde Maritime Motor Inn next time I'm in Warrnambool. Thank you again to Courtney for making me feel welcome and comfortable.

Greatly improved since my last stay fourteen years ago. Wonderful and friendly team, absolutely spotless room. Only complaint is that the renovated bathroom in the family room is a tight fit for larger adults and teens. Toilet paper holder placement only makes a narrow space even more precarious. This would be the only reason we could not return for a longer stay.

Staff were lovely but I was really disappointed in my room. The room was very tired looking and decor very dated. Walls need painting, carpet was frayed and it felt like the room was not very clean. I just didn't feel comfortable. Rooms need refreshing.

A lovely place to stay, the staff were lovely and welcoming, the rooms very comfortable, clean and modern. The Clovelly restaurant an added bonus. We stopped for an overnight stay but wished we could have stayed longer, we plan to come back one day.

We've had a great stay here. We stayed in a family room with a mezzanine. Very large room, comfy beds, great location and incredible and friendly staff! We even got tips for the journey we would make to Adelaide. Breakfast was good as well. We would definitely stay here again.

I had a comfortable, relaxing, easy stay here. The location is great and within walking distance of most attractions. The staff were very welcoming and helpful except for one waiter who seemed to be more focused on being efficient than friendly. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom clean, but the window frames were dusty and some debris remained on the floor for all three days of my stay. It would have been nice to have some fresh air in my room: the windows opened but there was nothing to hold them open with.

Customer service was excellent, friendly and helpful. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. Up to date finish and very high quality food service. We had breakfast in the room and a dinner in the restaurant. The only thing that could have been tweaked a bit was the weather and though wet and windy there were plenty of sunshine patches to make an enjoyable weekend.

Really comfortable beds, good shower and spacious room with everything thought of. I love the makeup face cloth remover, such a great idea. Nice amenities and loved the Kooka's Cookies❤ Super friendly and really helpful staff. This is my second stay, and I will be back.

As an account manager servicing businesses in Victoria 10 months per year, I look forward to a nice place to stay in each town. I haven't stayed at the Olde Maritime for over 14 years and the place is still amazing. I walked in the door and was greeted with a big friendly smile from the owner Raj who remembered me for all those years back. I checked into my updated room overlooking the water and made my way back to the bar for a refreshment. Raj made a point of introducing me to the other people sitting at the bar who were visiting their customers in the area. I met a few clients in the casual lounge area then met with a family member from the area. We were intending to head off to a local restaurant but after looking at the menu at the "Clovelly" restaurant we decided to stay and eat and very glad we did. The steak I had was amazing and the seafood dish demolished by my family members was delectible. Outstanding service - great atmosphere in bar & lounge area, updated accommodation. Looking forward to staying there again & again.

Room was spacious and well appointed, foxtel service was great when on a wet weather timetable, shower was big and had good water pressure, bed was comfortable, rooms were quiet and location was great! Staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was tasty and the restaurant was cosy. Good room service options available also. Would stay again!

The room was spotless, bed comfortable with ample space for a couple. Location was very central, we could walk to restaurants, cafes and bars. The breakfast in their restaurant was great, menu had something for everyone. Most of all the staff were friendly and helpful! Will visit again.

Stayed in the Budget Twin Room with my daughter for a weekend. It was small, but cosy, and had the comforts we needed. Clean room, nice bed linen, fresh bathroom, and handy additions (such as tea/coffee, fridge, bathroom supplies). We enjoyed our stay, thank you.

Glad we stayed here on our first visit to Warnambool. Friendly service, ample parking and clean rooms. The loft room is on the top floor via stairs. Nice view of Flagstaff Hill. The room was a little dark but otherwise ok. There is a microwave, kettle, fridge and toaster in the room.

Harbour master suite was large and comfortable. Close to attractions, beach and city centre. Bathroom was sizeable and the shower was large and appointed with full size toiletries. Check in was easy and the restaurant offered room service.

We checked into the Best western for 1 night with our children and we had a loft family room and it was perfect. It was clean, spacious, comfortable beds and good linen. We ate in their restaurant/ bar area and the meal was good and we also had breakfast included which was very good. The service we received was spot on too from check in to dinning. We would definitely stay here again Thanks you for a great experience.

The room was ideal, a decent size and well equipped with all the facilities. As a business traveler WIFI is important and so is the noise. The WIFI was fantastic and very little noise was heard. However, I would like to mention the costs of dinner. Even though work would have paid for the meal, I just couldn't bring myself to pay $42 for Salmon and then pay extra for chips. I ended up at a pub where it was fully booked on a Monday night however, they managed to squeeze me in. Fish there was $29. Please re-visit your menu prices as I'm sure other like me would prefer to dine with you then walk down the street.

Ye Olde Maritime feels like coming home. I have been going there for 8 years and I often drive an extra hour when my working day is over just so I can stay where I know I will be welcomed and looked after. The rooms have been recently upgraded and the restaurant is always excellent. The staff are always helpful and welcoming.

Very comfortable rooms and offer a very relaxing atmosphere - very quiet. The meals are delicious and great value for money. Close access to town, short walk to the beach and many tourist attractions. Staff are very welcoming and extremely helpful.

We arrived late with no booking. Friendly staff & a beautiful clean warm room. A few drinks by the fire. Lovely service and would recommend the steak. They were very busy with a large table of 30. Nothing was too much trouble. A definite revist

We always stay at the Best Western Olde Maritime Motor Inn when we go to Warrnambool, we go every year to look for whales. Raj and his team do a wonderful job looking after us and making us welcome. When I used to travel to Warrnambool for business, I quickly found that Best Western Olde Maritime Motor Inn was the best place to stay, and we have been staying there ever since. I have been staying there for over a decade and would not stay anywhere else. They are simply the best!

Older style motel but very nicely renovated / rooms very comfortable nicely furnished Staff very friendly, helpful nothing seemed like too much trouble / asked if our room had microwave / it didn't but in a few minutes one was delivered to our room by a lovely young guy ( who also asked if we needed help with our luggage ) great location for us “walkers” will definitely stay again

Staff so friendly our room was great big and bright and a view .. Went to restaurant for dinner was lovely and welcoming . We stayed 2 night I enjoyed sitting by fire reading paper in bar and had dinner in bar following night. We didn't need to go anywhere else . We will be back . Very clean room and very spacious. Staff very friendly. Close to town and Restaurant and others take away places. Close to Flagstaff Hill. Great on Price for the family room. Plenty of parking on the site. It's great when you're a BW member and get good deals.

Once again, the level of customer service and hospitality at the Olde Maritime was outstanding. We are fast becoming regular guests at this hotel as the overall standards are so good, we don't feel the need to even try anywhere else when we are travelling through Warrnambool. Our stay this time was so good in fact, that we are now planning a holiday in Warrnambool instead of just travelling through as we usually do on the journey to/from Adelaide/Melbourne. We paid to upgrade our room this time, as we really needed a bit of pampering. The two-bedroom cottage was larger than our needs, but the cottage is equipped with a two-person Spa bath - oh my goodness what a treat! The cottage was wonderful, all the amenities you could need for a self-catering stay (which we don't normally do when we stay here as the Clovelly restaurant is also worth a visit and very reasonably priced). In fact, it was so well stocked, we rated it higher than the 4-star luxury accommodation we stayed in somewhere else in February this year. The queen bedroom we slept in was wonderful, quiet with blackout curtains, a very comfy bed and oh bliss a ceiling fan (thank you from the bottom of my menopause hot flushes!). Two lovely couches in the lounge area and a dining table that seats four comfortably, as well as the second bedroom (which we didn't use) with two king singles, would make this cottage ideal for either a family, or two couples, without getting in each other's way. There is a comfortable bar area next to reception, with leather couches and a fire, perfect spot on a cold afternoon/evening. The bathroom was bright and featured a separate shower as well as the two-person spa. The spa worked efficiently and provided muscle relief that was much needed. Olde Maritime is very well located with a walk on the beach, into town or up to the RSL for a meal all within minutes. The information provided in the accommodation was extensive and was partly why we realised that there is so much more to do in and around Warrnambool than we knew. A big thank you, as always, to the team on reception for the friendly welcome and flexibility regarding our change of accommodation choice, and a big shout out to the cleaning staff, every room we've ever stayed in has been spotless!

With comfortable rooms, and a welcoming bar which is open late, this is the ideal place to stay in Warrnambool. We have now stayed 3 times and have already booked in for next year.

Absolutely great place to stay in Warrnambool for pleasure or business. Tidy and spacious rooms and amazing service. Nice restaurant as well. I love the historical buildings in the hotel. The hotel is close to the ocean and local attractions and is only a short stroll to the city centre.

We were excited to learn more about the shipwreck coast, so we chose The Best Western because of its proximity to the Maritime museum and the centre of Warrnambool. We weren't disappointed - the room was very charming and cosy, and immaculately clean. My 13 year old son walked into the room and declared "I love this place!". We had great day trips, enjoyed the beautiful shore line and enjoyed local foods too. We were extremely happy with our unplanned little break, and highly recommend this place to everyone!

Comfortable beds, doona and pillows. Clean, contemporary decor, split blinds, noise reduction window pane glazing, daily cleaned, restaurant on site as well as laundry facility. Two smart large screen TVs in the split level family room but unfortunately one ceased operation on the second night but it was not an issue. No neighbour noise due to good building design and construction. Independent airconditioner also provided but didn't use it as the abode was solar heated via the seaward facing windows. Couldn't ask for more.

Fabulous stay! It was recommended to me by a friend and I am glad I followed through. Room was clean and cosy. It felt quiet and relaxing to walk into. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. Clean bathroom, fresh sheets. The bed was so comfortable and easy to sleep on. I chose to have room service to spoil myself and that's how I felt. The meals were delicious and appetising. I didn't want to leave. Raj and his team run very efficiently and really care. Highly recommend it and definitely coming back.

A really positive stay at the Best Western Maritime in Warrnambool. A warm welcome, and our 2 bedroom unit was spacious and had those little extras that a traveller really appreciates. There was glad and lunch wrap for picnics, a good selection of cookware and cutlery, and a washing machine and dryer. Breakfast was great - again such friendly staff, and a really nicely cooked eggs benedict. I would really recommend this motel. PS If you want a brilliant meal, go to the RSL just down the road at the roundabout. Fantastic!

The room was exceptionally clean and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was recently renovated and so clean you could easily have convinced me that I was the first person to ever use it. Very convenient location near Flagstaff Historical Village and great food venues. I'll stay here again.

The Best Western Maritime is in a very good area in the middle of Warrnambool, and is short walk away from shops, historic sights and the beach. It had a clean and spacious room and hosted good customer service. A pool would have been nice, but for the price it was more than comfortable. We will be back.

Easter weekend trip to Warrnambool with friends and family. The is an excellent hotel. Convenient location, clean and tidy rooms. Staff are warm & caring and went out of their way to make our stay a pleasant one. Definitely recommended to anyone looking for a getaway to Warrnambool.

Accommodation was great. The rooms were very clean and bedding comfortable. For being on a corner the rooms are quiet as well. The staff were all wonderful and very accommodating in all requests we made. We had vehicles taking up more space than you normally would and they were only too happy to keep them within the premises to keep them secure. Will be staying again next time we are in Warrnambool.

This motor inn is perfectly placed to be able to visit most places. We travelled by train from Melbourne via Geeling to Warrnambool. Cheap fares. 12-15 min walk to the centre of town, art gallery, theatre, restaurants & cafes. 5 min walk to the Maritime Museum (must see the permanent exhibition of the 1929 short film, filmed by a sailor in rough seas, sailing through the North Sea and around Cape Horne). Walk to the beach, Deep Blue Hot Springs - absolutely fantastic! Raj & his staff went out of their way to make our stay very comfortable, he even dropped us back to the station so we could have a little extra time to look around the art gallery before we caught the train home. Canadian family with us, just loved it!

Very satisfied with the service given during our stay. The restaurant food and service was excellent. The room service breakfast was delicious. We encourage people to give this accommodation to stay here and enjoy their service. We will use this Motor Inn when in warrnambool again

We were part of a party of Rotariams in Warrnambool for a conference and we were fortunate our organiser chose The Olde maritime motor inn for our three day stay. The hotel is very clean, the staff are very friendly and the room that my wife and I stayed in was quite large and comfortable. We were located on the top floor and had to climb up a flight of stairs to the third level - there was no lift - but we were voluntarily helped with our luggage by a staff member. The restaurant was good, as was the food we ate, so overall a most enjoyable few days at this hotel.

Rooms are modern. Location is convenient, just a short walk to city centre, flagstaff museum, art centre and Lighthouse Theatre. Staff are friendly and attentive. Breakfast are cooked to order and the in-house restaurant serves great meals. If you are visiting Warrnambool this is great place to stay.

From the moment we arrived we were looked after, seven ladies from Melbourne away for a weekend! The staff couldn't do enough for us. They carried our bags to our rooms, checked us in early. The rooms were so clean and spacious. We had a great breakfast in the dining room too. Highly recommend.

Excellent Accommodation for Corporate travel or family leisure. Best quality/comfort beds i have used in regional Vic. Great location has Foxtel on the TVs and restaurant onsite. Staff are always friendly. Favorite place to stay in Warrnambool. 10/10

Stayed here after a day on the Great Ocean Road. What a great find! The staff were great and very knowledgeable. The rooms were clean and updated, and the restaurant was very good for dinner and breakfast. A really enjoyable stay in Warrnambool!

For over 500 a night I guess we hoped for something a bit more flash. The service was good in terms of making our beds each day but unfortunately the room wasn't very functional for our family. It was super warm in the upstairs mezzanine room even with the cooler going which would then make downstairs super cold there was no happy medium. Lots of stairs to climb to get to the room and then in the room more stairs again. At least we got a good work out each day. We dined in the restaurant service was good but again overpriced and underwhelming. Sorry guys but for what you charged us it was very disappointing.

Highly recommend this hotel. Staff were exceptional and no request from us was too much. Every time we approached reception we were greeted with bright friendly faces. Room was lovely with fabulous views. Centrally located to beach and eating venues with many choices.

The rooms are clean and fresh, beds are super comfortable. We also had dinner in the restaurant. Our meals were fantastic, i couldn't rate highly enough. There were lots to see and do close to the Motor inn. We loved the maritime village, and the descendants Maremma dogs from the Oddball movie. I will come back again.

I am searching for a review within my mind, I cannot find one to cover my thoughts, so, one word - FANTASTIC great staff, great food, clean room. I have stayed at the Olde Maritime Motor Inn for many years during my working life - nothing has changed.

This place was amazingly clean and had all needed amenities. Staff were so professional, helpful and friendly as well. The room was cleaned on daily basis which made it easy and worry less about towel and toilet papers replacements. You would always come back from a long day at the beach or hiking to a very clean and tidy room.

We were made to feel so welcome. Great room, Great meals and Courtney was the perfect host. We intend to come back and discover Warrnambool in the future and there is no doubt we will book at the Best Western Olde Marintime Motor Inn. We loved our stay so much we are going to give them 5 stars out of 5 !!

The accommodation was in a great location with only minutes walk to the town or the beach. Many of the attractions were also close by and easy walking distance. The hotel room was comfortable and quiet with modern conveniences and pleasant decor. Our room was cleaned daily and well stocked. Ample parking and easy access. Special mention to Courtney who was extremely helpful and provided many options for things to do and dinner places to try. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely use this hotel again.

Amazing atmosphere, Raj, Bron and Courtney always accommodate my every need. Clean, fresh, and spacious rooms, wifi is fast, big range of tv chanel options for kids to be entertained. Close to all amenities and restaurant attached has always got the freshest ingredients and welcoming staff. Always love staying here on business and leisure visits.

We only stayed two nights, however it would be easy to stay a week or more. With the very professional and friendly staff making you fell most welcome and nothing was an issue thanks to Beth and Simon especially our Dinner in the restaurant on both nights wonderful the Crispy skin Chicken a definite highlight, and the breakfast requests always met with a smile and can do attitude! Our room neat and clean and you can walk to quiet a few sights and shopping. Therefore if you want a wonderful experience in Warrnambool the stay at the Olde Maritime Motor Inn.

Rooms are spotless clean and the staff and cleaners are all so very lovely ! It's the only place we stay now when we come every February! The food at the Clovelly restaurant is sensational, one of the tastiest and best cooked Rib Eye steaks we have ever had ! Fully recommend

Great place to stay! We stayed in a family room for 4 which was perfect! Everything clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Would love to come back! Plenty of car Spaces to park, and just enough ammenities to have breakfast in the room.

We had a comfortable nights' stay. The room was spacious and well-appointed after a recent renovation, with a comfortable bed, great quality WiFi and a well-appointed bathroom. The included breakfast was very generous, we were able to choose whatever we wanted on the menu.

The rooms are very nice and clean, they are well equipped, the location is central but quiet , but: Highway police uses parking lot on Sunday 7.30 am for meetings and lets cars engines running directly in front of the rooms. I had to ask 3 times to be able to access the door of my car.

Room had a double and a single bed. Room was clean and very comfortable and the staff was super helpful. Breakfast was included in the price and there was a good range on the menu. It is not the first time that we have stayed there and it will not be the last.

Great rooms, great staff, great food... I have been coming to Warrnambool for work for years and found this place by accident just recently. Went to the restaurant and loved the meal so decided to have a look at the rooms and rates... Wish I had of found this place a lot earlier just so much better than where I was staying

The two bedroom apartment was modern, spacious and had all the amenities required for a family. Our 1 year old loved that there was a bath and the beds were so comfy that we had to stay another night! We will definitely be back!

I visited Warnambool with my support worker for a 2 night stay. Our room was clean, comfortable and newly renovated. The staff were amazing and made our stay very comfortable. The meals from the restaurant were exceptional! Very delicious thankyou. This motel is in a great location and a wonderful base to explore Warnambool. We will be back!

Very lovely and cosy room! Me and my partner were happy about the decoration and cleanness. Very quiet at night and ensured a good quality of rest. Just a few hundred metres away from the Flagstaff marine museum, and 10 minutes walk to the street with many restaurants, amazing location! I would love to book it again if I visit Warrnambool again in the future!

There is always a warm welcome from the staff. The rooms are very clean & comfortable without being over the top. The bar is cosy, a good place to read a newspaper with a flat white in the morning or a night cap at the end of an evening. The restaurant serves well crafted meals of a high standard. A great all round place to stay when in Warrnambool

The room was clean, well-appointed and very comfortable, and the service on check-in was very welcoming, it felt like I had been there before. The restaurant and service were perfect, I highly recommend the steak.

I have stayed at the Olde Marritime Best Western motel in Warrnambool twice a year for about 15 years. I have always found the staff to be helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable with everything you need to stay for a night or a week. The onsite restaurant and bar are exceptional. The food is amazing as are the cocktails. Nothing beats sitting by the fire in winter after a day whale watching. The location is perfect for us. Once we drive to Warrnambool, we don't really need to use our car as most things are in walking distance. In all the years we have stayed here we have only had great experiences. I highly recommend this motel.

I loved the make up removal cloth.such a random, but thoughtful addition in the bathroom. Bed was firm , but fine. Room was really clean , as was the bathroom. No road noise, even though the hotel was close to the road. Easy walk to town.

Stayed for 1 night for business. Check in experience was very poor; I was in a large van and it didn't fit the height restriction on the main entrance, so after checking in I said I'd reverse out of the driveway and park on the street overnight. The check in person didn't mention to me that the property has other entrances without height restrictions. It wasn't until after I parked down the other end of the street and lugged all my bags to my room that I saw the additional entrances. Also nothing was mentioned to me at check in about breakfast which I paid for in advance. I asked the restaurant staff at dinner time but they weren't able to tell me specifics (such as the hours for breakfast) The room I was allocated was different to the room I booked, I ended up being put in a 2 bedroom unit and it wasn't as nice as the pictures of the premium queen room I actually booked. They mentioned tea and coffee facilities however their was no milk provided in the fridge which was disappointing. Also make sure you bring your own soap for the shower as none was provided. (Shampoo and conditioner was however) I will admit the room was very clean. Keep up the great work housekeeping team. I'll also touch on the restaurant, dinner service was a bit disappointing. Took 45 minutes to receive my mains, it seemed the kitchen was focusing on 1 table at a time and unfortunately the table before me was a large table of 8. Food was good once it finally arrived. I was going to get dessert but the servers were too busy chatting behind the bar and after waiting 10 minutes for one of them to ask if I wanted dessert, I gave up settled the bill and called it a night. Breakfast the next morning was much better, the server was very attentive and very friendly. The person who served me at check out was a million times better than check in and provided great customer service! All in all, I'd say this was an average stay and I will probably look elsewhere for my next stay in Warrnambool.

Booked in for business, cannot fault my stay or the staff. Was greeted at reception with a professional approach, smile and everything you want to hear when booking in. Room was fantastic and the menu sensational( the Rib Eye is a must.) The restuarant staff were respectful and very courteous. Highly recommend to stay here.

The bar was warm and welcoming, the Clovelly Restaurant provided great quality food and service. The rooms were very comfortable and clean, the bathrooms are 2 years old and looked brand new, would stay there again.

Very much enjoyed our 3-night stay at Best Western Olde Maritime Inn, in a well-appointed upstairs Premier Queen room - which included a delightful and bright bay window, facing green parks and the foreshore beyond. Breakfast was both sumptuous and delicious, and set us on our way for the rest of the day. Much to see in Warrnambool and the greater shipwreck coast region, with the well-established and informative Maritime Museum just across the road. Our stay was topped-off with superb service by Raj and his team, who made us feel like special guests - willing us to return. Which we shall, of course.

Our Heritage King room was very spacious and quiet, with a nicely appointed and roomy bathroom, and a very comfortable bed. Although we were on holiday and slept in, we received a courtesy phone call from reception to let us know the kitchen would be closing at 10am (we had booked breakfast with our room). The phone call was very much appreciated. We got there asap and found that breakfast was made to order, and we weren't rushed either (although we were mindful we had to let them finish service). The hotel is well situated - across the road from the Flagstaff Hill Maritime Village, and walking distance to pubs and restaurants. All the staff we interacted with were very pleasant and welcoming. The only drawback would be the steps from the carpark to the room. Not many, but be aware if your luggage is heavy.

Stayed at the OId Marime on a business trip. Always an excellent stay. Raj and the team are amazing hosts. Great service, comfortable beds, nice, clean and modern rooms. The Clovelly bar and restaurant is always great for a cosy meal

We enjoyed 2 queen rooms next to each other (2 couples away wknd). We had everything we needed to relax and enjoy Warrnambool together. Location is central. The simple Beds were comfy, and seemed freshly lauandered, bathrooms were fresh clean and renovated. Everything was spotless! We would stay again.

Have stayed at the Best Western Olde Maritime in Warrnambool on quite a few occasions. We have found the room always clean and comfortable. Staff are always pleasant and very helpful. Upon arrival staff always make you feel welcome. Would recommend to others to stay here.

On arriving at the hotel we were greeting by 3 staff smoking, which wasn't a good start. The room was clean and tidy. Nothing wrong with the decor. But when it came to sleeping the noise from the road was dreadful, no efforts had been made to sound proof the windows. It seemed like we were staying on a local racetrack at times. Then once the car had finished around 1am! Water dripping in the bathroom started, drip drip drip. Definitely avoid any room facing the road, we were unfortunate to have been allocated it. Maybe they reserve the quieter rooms for contract workers that stay there? Like I said nothing wrong with the hotel, hopefully you'll win the room lottery when you stay

Fantastic location to everything that you need. Resteraunts, cafes & other shops as well. Directly over the road from the Maritime museum & other popular tourists attractions. We have been to Warrnambool seeveral times over the years, & although some other places might be more modern or even a bit cheaper, the Olde Maritime ticks every box. The rooms are spacious & very clean, they look like they have been recently renovated & are quite quiet. Raj is so attentive & comes across that he has been in the hospitatlity industry for many years. He dresses impeccably like a real professional concierge & comes across so friendly. Make sure you have the breakfast. It was so yummy & cooked to perfection. All in all a very comfortable & friendly stay. Will definately make this place one of our regular go to's when staying in Warrnambool. Will not dissapoint

This is the motel I stay at in Warrnambool the service is fantastic every time I come down from Geelong the staff are great the rooms are great this time I stayed in a apartment room the apartment is fantastic you have a washing machine a dryer a dishwasher kitchen is great it has 2 bedrooms too separate toilet and close to the shops

The 2 bedroom apartment we stayed in was excellent, clean, roomy and warm.. Self appointed kichen was there if we needed it. The bed was comfy with a tv in the room if you wanted to use it.. We stayed for 4 nights and if work permitted we would of stayed longer. We had breakfast delivered to our room each morning as were early staters and they were spot on for time and the breaky was awesome. We also ate at their restaurant and i must say the staff and the food went way beyond our expectations . Cosy atmosphere and all the staff from the owners to the wait staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anybody looking to stay in warrnambool .. Also walking distance to the centre of town if you needed to go there.

Raj and his team delivered outstanding service - accomodating several special requests with kindness and professionalism. They've really made the most of what would otherwise be a modest motel - adding little extras to make it feel like a 5 star experience. Immaculately presented, premium soaps, shampoo and conditioner, bickies and tea, superb restaurant on site (providing room service too) You must try Raj's signature breakfast! Everyone is so lovely and authentically friendly. Cannot recall having such a fabulous experience even in the poshest places.

An excellent experience every time. We visit each year for the May racing carnival but returned during summer for a family funeral. The standard is high in every way. Spotlessly clean rooms. Comfy beds. Meals were great and the bar is a wonderful meeting space especially when a big family are getting together. The staff are all very well trained , friendly and obliging. We had a very comfortable stay in the family mezzanine room for one night ( wish it was longer!). The host was very welcoming and friendly and check in was a breeze. Stayed in a mezzanine style room. Only drawback was there upstairs area was hot with no way to cool it down. Staff supplied us with a pedestal fan promptly when we commented on it. Great location, fabulous staff, plenty of parking, will stay again.

Our family stayed one night at the Mezzanine family room. The front-desk staff was helpful, and the restaurant onsite would be convenient for grabbing food or drinks. Pertobe park and Flagstaff Hill are within a short walk. There was a New Year Carnival/Market at Pertobe park during our stay so it was super cool that we could just walk there without having to frustratingly look for a parking lot. We liked the room decoration; its vintage deco with the wallpapers made it feel warm and cozy. The laundry room for guests was handy because we were on a road trip and needed to do laundry on that day. The room was spacious enough for all of our stuff no we were satisfying with its size. My kids liked climbing up and down the stairs in the room because we don't have one at home. However, just be a bit more careful or make sure that the lights are on when walking down those stairs because the wood colour was a bit dark so I found the steps a bit hard to see clearly without the lights. The bathroom looks a bit dated, but it was spotless clean and I actually liked the tiles' design in there. The waterflow was strong and adjusting warm/cold water was easy. We stayed on the 3rd floor which has no lift access but it was okay for us because we packed our luggage light and small enough to carry them around. If there was one thing that I could suggest for improvement, then it would be the bedframes. The beds were on roller legs, so they would move when someone slightly lean on them.

Very happy to be able to return to The Olde Maritime after a prolonged absence. All the familiar friendly faces still here and the standard of service and cleanliness is first class. You will not find a better friendlier place to stay in Warrnambool.

We caught the train from Geelong to Warrnambool and the Olde Maritime was just a short walk from the station. It's in a great spot, near everything, including the shopping strip for those on foot. The king spa room was great, very clean and spacious and the staff were all super friendly and helpful. The food at the attached restaurant was delicious and the service was fast and friendly. An A+++ from us!

There was 3 of us in the family room which was nice and had room. Room was clean and the staff were attentive. The only negative we have is the air con only cools the bottom room and is placed nicer to eves which is very cold. The mezzanine stays stuffy and hot and needs a at the very least a fan. But overall a pleasant stay. Location is perfect as well.

We just love Warrnambool and this is our go to accommodation. We would not stay anywhere else. Professional staff that cannot do enough for you nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are very clean, comfy beds and plenty of pillows. Restaurant has a great new menu, we ate in several nights during our stay and was not disappointed. The food was fantastic and very generous in size.

We recently had a 3 night stay here and were extremely impressed with the service, the Restaurant both for Breakfast and Dinner, the cleanliness of the room, and the willingness of Raj to meet all of our requirements.

Absolutely enjoyed my stay as the room was very spacious room with a great TV and good heating. It was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and accommodated my request for a late check-in and kept my key in a safe place for me to find. They also had the heater turned on before my arrival to ensure the room was warm!

The whole experience right from the initial phone call to book has been outstanding. Special consideration and care was given in regards to accommodating myself, my guide dog, and my elderly parents. The apartment was spacious, light, airy, and absolutely spotless. All staff were friendly, respectful, and courteous. We will be back!

I highly recommend this motor inn, it's located close to town and the beach and a main tourist attraction. The rooms were suitable and decent that met my high-level standards. The facilities were in great knick. The food at the in-house restaurant were big servings and delicious and I noticed that everyone there on business trips were on return trips.

We found the room to be comfortable and clean. The restaurant is amazing. The staff made room for us at the fully booked restaurant for dinner one Saturday night. The food was unbelievable. Breakfast the next morning was also top notch. The staff were attentive and courteous and made us feel welcome. The rates for this Motor Inn are very reasonable and the menu prices at their restaurant are also value for money. We would recommend this place to anyone.

I stay here whilst visiting Warrnambool on business., and have been for over 20 years, so my views here are based on a one or two night stay for work not pleasure. I have always found the rooms clean, hygienic, comfortable, and well appointed. The main reason I continue to stay here, is because the owners and the staff....they simply go out of there way to try to ensure your visit is as comfortable & pleasant as possible! As a customer staying for work purposes, I often have dine in (room service dinner) this would be my only complaint as that the menu is not great for travelling business people, as often we need/want something quite basic, but wholesome for dinner. Other than that 'whinge' I can't recommend this place highly enough.

Booked direct and got a great deal on a two bedroom apartment. The apartment appeared to have been recently refurbished, was spotlessly clean, beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed, bathroom was well supplied and there was more than enough space for two adults and two teens. The location is great, over the road from Lake Pertobe and Flagstaff Hill, and a short walk into town. Will definitely be coming back.

We had a brilliant experience here. Awesome service and its position is so close to the lake and beach for a walk, bars for a cocktail and a wide range of shops. We had a great time and was made better by the staffs great sense of humour and big smiles.

This is our go to accommodation in Warrnambool. The staff are very friendly and helpful as well as being professional. Our room was spotless clean and very spacious, plenty of pillows and bathroom has a great shower. The Bar and Restaurant had plenty of choice of wine and beer great men. Food was cooked to perfection.

All the staff and particularly the manager were fantastic. We arrived 1 day early due to my mistake when booking. A room was found and then upgraded when the a/c was faulty. The food at the restaurant was excellent. The bed was comfortable.

We liked the older style of this motel compared with the often sterile looking and feeling motels available. Our spa-bath room was spacious, very comfortable and very clean. It was quiet and there was easy access to our carpark and the exit to the road. The reception staff were friendly and very helpful. Our stay was a really nice experience.

We recently stayed for 2 nights for a bit of R & R. We came into the room not knowing what to expect from a 3 star inn. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the bed, pillows, linen, towels and amenities, definitely 5 stars! The bathroom was new and modern. It was a 2 minute walk to Flagstaff Hill Maritime Museum, 10minute walk to the beach promenade, and Lake Pertobe too. We also had dinner at Clovelly Restaurant, the steak was perfectly cooked. We will be back!

The two bedroom apartment was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Everything that we had need of was provided. The close proximity to the township and the Bay was just wonderful. Quiet, warm and private. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Didn't have a chance to dine in their Restaurant. But we heard it was great - save that for next time.

The service is great even every time when I stay here you get a warm welcome and you don't stay here a lot they know you it very close to the train station and attractions it's walking distance to the city centre I don't stay here very often but when I do I really enjoy staying here it's like staying with friends

Great location. Crisp white clean sheets on a big king bed. Loved the hot tub and being able to fit in it properly. I always stay at best western olde maritime it's a lovely place with nice clean rooms and lovely helpful staff and not to mention clovelly restaurant which serves some of the best food in Warrnambool 10/10 to the chef there amazing dishes .I encourage you to stay at olde maritime you won't be disappointed.Big thanks to Raj and the team for always making my stay comfortable .

The owner and staff were all abolutely amazing. We arrived early, and they made our room available for us, then also gave us a late check out, all out no extra cost. The day of our departure it was raining, so Raj (the owner) gave us and another couple of lift to the train station. We opted for the Breakfast inclusion, and were very glad to of done so, the meal was way above our expectations. Would definitely be going back again, and would recommend this place to anybody.

I stayed in this place for a night along with my family during our recent vacation. Found the place to be really nice. We had taken a suit room and it was absolutely perfect to our taste. The decor and amenities in the room was awesome. We also had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant in the hotel and it was superb. The hotel staffs are extremely friendly and very helpful. I was having an issue with the Aircon but it was solved in no time. Would highly recommend this place for anybody looking at a place to stay in Warrnambol. Will always have very pleasant memories of our stay in this place.

Just spent three relaxing nights at Great Western Olde Maritime, Warnambool. Our room was spacious, clean and we'll serviced. The onsite restaurant and bar provides a great atmosphere, with an excellent menu. All provided by Raj and his friendly and attentive staff. I fully recommend a stay here.

We only stayed one night here but were very happy with the cleanliness and convenient location. More than that, when we arrived home we discovered our daughter had accidentally left her most important plush fox in the room (we're talking lifelong childhood plush toy). Luckily after a phone call and a couple of emails/messages he was found! The staff were so helpful and looked after him until we could return. We can't thank them enough. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

What do you need for an overnight business stay? Friendly, helpful people. Quick check-in. Clean rooms. Comfortable bed. Good pillows. Quiet nights. (I heard the rain but not the traffic) An efficient heater. Hot shower. Modern bathroom. A decent restaurant. And Kooka biscuits with your late night coffee. This place has everything I want in a short stay, so I must rate it high.

Clean, tidy, good layout, plenty of lighting and charging ports. Staff were exceptional on arrival and throughout encounters with them from checking in to checking out. Location was awesome near centre of town, quiet street, plenty of parking spaces. Ordered the room service breakfast, which was good value and high quality.

From checking in to checking out everything was perfect. Spotless clean room very comfortable bed plenty of pillows. We had drinks in the bar each day and ate in the Restaurant. Great choice of food perfectly cooked and couldn't fault service. Definitely recommend this to anyone who is coming to Warrnambool.

The Inn is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Warnambool, especially if going to Flagstaff Hill which is just a 5 minute walk across the road. Staff are very friendly and the rooms are clean, comfortable and well appointed. The restaurant is excellent and breakfast was well worth the money. This is our new go to motel in Warnambool.

We stayed here for a quick Warrnambool getaway over school holidays in winter, we had a family mezzanine room which was phenomenal! Super spacious with space to chill, dining table and lots of play space for the kids who LOVED the upstairs with their own TV! The room was very clean, smart TV to log into Netflix and Disney, absolutely perfect for what we needed! The location was excellent for what we wanted, it was quiet, across the road from Flagstaff Hill, super close to shops and lots of eating choices. The service was phenomenal, all of the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, we were so impressed! We had breakfast at the restaurant for two mornings, and although it was overall great, one morning seemed to be excellent whereas the other was a bit different (e.g. burnt bacon, scrambled eggs were dry and had too much pepper, whereas the next day was perfect creamy eggs and fresh maple bacon). Otherwise, the only thing we picked up on was our shower temperature was a bit inconsistent, randomly it would get scalding hot, and then too cold, then hot again (without any other person using the water at the same time). But definitely didn't ruin our holiday and would absolutely come back next time we're in Warrnambool!! Thanks for an amazing experience, we loved the facilities and effort your team put into knowing our names, being friendly, and going above and beyond!! Thanks!!

The Old Maritime (Clovelly) is a great place for a few days; central, close to everything, friendly staff, and clean, clean, clean. We'll be back as we could walk everywhere, other than Port Fairy Golf Club.

We stayed in a Family Mezzanine room over Easter. The room was very charming and very clean and comfortable. The owner Raj could not do enough to help with any queries and all the staff were lovely. Would highly recommend staying here.

This was our second time staying at the Best Western Olde Maritime Motel in Warrnambool and we would happily stay again in future. Not only is the location great, and the rooms clean and comfortable, but the staff are amazing too and go out of their way to make your stay a good one. Sadly one of our children was quite unwell this time and needed to go to hospital in an ambulance in the early hours of the morning, but the staff were very accommodating of a couple of additional needs we experienced during this difficult time and we are very grateful for their hospitality and understanding. If you're looking for somewhere to stay in Warrnambool, definitely consider the Olde Maritime!

Fantastic accommodation, in a great position & the Manager was so lovely…. He carried our luggage to our mezzanine room. This room was gorgeous & had everything we needed; cutlery, crockery, microwave, TV with Foxtel, electric blankets, air con, plenty of cupboard space & I loved the ‘makeup remover' face washer. The only thing I will say is… if stairs are a concern this room is NOT for you. There are over 20 stairs up to the door & then of course the stairs to the mezzanine level but luckily there are other rooms, just as nice, that will suit you better.

The customer service at this motel is exemplar, on arrival Raj speedily booked us in, offered plenty of information and made us feel welcome. The staff in the restaurant including Tarne and Courtney who was front of house were professional in their service and also friendly. Our room was spacious, with table and lounge and impeccably clean. Our room faced the south and was very quiet enabling us to enjoy 2 good nights sleep. Easy walking distance to both the beach and town. Restaurant offered a good range of meals for breakfast and dinner. We have travelled worldwide and I would say that Raj and his team'scustomer service across the board is better than most hotels offer. Congratulations

We were made to feel welcome by Raj and Courtney from our arrival to our departure four days later. Nothing was too much trouble for them, The cooked breakfasts are to die for. The "Olde Maritime" is within easy walking to the beach/scienic walks and the main shopping center of Warrnambool. We have stayed here before and will do so again.

We have been travelling for 2 years and Courtney and the front office reception staff at the Best Western Olde Maritime Motor Inn were some of the friendliest most welcoming people we have ever met. Courtney was so kind and gave us plenty of information about the area and things to do, she went out of her way to make our short stay in Warrnambool so wonderful. The room was really comfortable, had everything we needed and is perfectly located being a really short drive to all of the pretty tourist spots + shops. Highly recommend staying at the Best Western Olde Maritime. Raj and his team provided exceptional service and made us feel very welcomed. Good position auiet area. We stayed in a heritage room at the back of hotel, it was a large comfortable room. You can walk to museum and bowls club and other places to eat. The beach and family park just over the hill a short drive.

We stayed in a delightful 2br apartment at the Olde Maritime Motor Inn. This apartment had everything to make a short or long stay a success. Delightful staff and excellent and prompt service. A further advantage is a first class restaurant on the premises. This was particularly advantageous after a long journey.

Excellent accommodation option for us in Warrnambool. We had cooking facilities, comfortable quiet rooms, Foxtel at night and a restaurant on site with others very close by. Weather was perfect and during the day we were able to go to the beach, your the local area, short trips to places like port fairy and also visited the maritime museum which was very interesting

Raj and the team were really friendly, professional and accommodating. I made a last minute booking on a Thursday morning to stay that and the following night ~ Raj reserved a Queen room for me. An impromptu dinner at the restaurant that evening (Barramundi - yum! - my compliments to the chef & team) was so delicious, I dined there the following night also (Rib Eye - delicious, also - thanks team). As a person who enjoys fresh air in my room, I was disappointed to learn most of the rooms (including the one I had) have sealed windows. Fortunately the split system air conditioner worked well and I was able to have air movement. I now know to request a room with opening windows, next time. The Inn is located very close to the Information Centre, RSL and Liebig Street (showcasing both retail and dining options). Thank you to Raj and the team for helping to make my impromptu mini break so lovely.

We have been staying here every year for the Port Fairy Folk festival ('the Folkie'). Excellent accommodation, and service, this year the unit was spotlessely clean, amongst the cleanest accomm I have ever seen. Raj callls ahead to confirm bookings and always responds quickly.

Good service but for the size of the room an outrageus price $690 for 3 nights. I guess thats what you pay on a long weekend but i wouldnt return.Rooms clean and service regulary. would have been good to put some fresh milk in the fridge. Good recommendation of the Myrtle bar

We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment...beautiful, very clean and spacious. Raj was fantastic! We had trouble with our door and the team went above and beyond to fix it promptly! Amazing customer service! Would absolutely stay again!

Friendliness and efficiency of the staff. The room was comfortable, clean and all appliances worked well. The only issues were with air flow through the room. We slept with the door ajar and the safety lock on. We would like windows to open, but realize on the ground floor security is an issue.

The two bedroom apartment was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Would be absolutely ideal for families. The motel is situated in a perfect spot. Ten minutes walk to Warrnambool CBD and ten minutes walk to beach and Lake Pertobe. Motel restaurant food was delicious. Both reception and restaurant staff were extremely friendly, courteous and attentive. Only downside of the motel is that parking is quite tight and bigger cars have to work harder to get out of spots. That said, the number of “pros” far outweigh this one small “con”. I'll definitely be staying again. Thanks Raj and team.

My wife and have stayed there twice over the last couple of weeks, great place to stay, we ate in the restaurant both times and had breakfast both times. Great staff and really good food, would really recommend it as a great place to stay in Warrnambool.

We booked this motel on our way back from a business trip. We had teenagers with us. They absolutely loved the room, we had excellent internet, quiet private rooms. The staff were incredibly polite and welcoming. We would come back and stay here again

Raj & the team were just amazing, friendly, helpful and keen to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. Hotel is in the perfect location being close to the lake, beach & centre of town. I stayed in a spa room which was a great size, it included foxtel on a large t.v and the blockout curtains kept my room private and dark for an enjoyable sleep in. Best choice of accommodation in Warnambool and great value for money. I will be returning!

We stayed in a 2 BR Apt. And we were so pleased to be offered an upgrade PRIOR to attending. That was a good first impression that lasted the 2 night stay in what was a spacious lovely room(s) for us 4.

Stayed in one of the rooms in the old harbour masters building. Just lovely with period features but all the modern conveniences. Had a nightcap at the bar and a very nice breakfast in the restaurant next morning.

Welcoming host showed us room options. The room was big to allow for a tub chair each and the new cabinetry was slick and modern. Oh.. the massive walk in shower....superb! Cost of room certainly value for money.

Arguably the best location in Warrnambool - about 5 or 10 minutes walk to the best spots in town. Clean, modern, quiet rooms. Raj and his staff are very friendly. Prices are great. Good food at Clovelly Restaurant and a comfortable lounge area. If in town, go there!

The motel looked newly renovated, was clean and everything was in good working order. For me, the only downside was the noise from the road which was not really a problem after dark. I would imagine the rooms at the back would be quieter. I'd be happy to return.

The staff were very lovely and accommodating. Had dinner at the restaurant which was delicious and they catered for health needs. Great location and really clean room. Shower pressure was amazing!! Loved the bay window you could sit in. Only down side noisy people upstairs and we could hear everything. Bed was a little hard for me, but it's impossible to please everyone. The sheets were lovely and soft and clean the aircon was good. Will stay again

The location and car park was very convenient Very spacious, clean room, well prepared with all the amenities and brilliant customer service by all the staff (special shout out to Raj). Breakfast was delicious and served with a smile. Would definitely be staying again some time soon!!

Premium twin room was a good size and had large screen tv with limited foxtel , fridge in the room was helpful ... it's a great location with ample parking and you can walk or drive to anywhere easily from here. The bed and breakfast rate was good value , with a quality breakfast served in the restaurant to the table (who wants to go near a buffet atm). The door key needed to be reprogrammed a couple of times so ask for a spare and keep away from your phone/wallet.

We have stayed at the Best Western Olde Maritime Motor Inn a number of times know and there standard is always the same, extremely high. We had breakfast delivered to our room each morning, what a treat. We will return again.

Had a wonderful time at the Best Western Olde Maritime. Walking distance to the Main Street of Warrnambool. We stayed in a 2 bedroom, one bathroom apartment. Beds were comfortable and the unit was super clean. Staff went over and beyond to make us happy and there is a lovely Bar at the property for after dinner drinks. Highly recommend.

Raj and his team are extremely helpful, friendly, and courteous. I've rated excellent based on the amazing customer's service. However, the apartment we stayed in could do for an upgrade. The beds, pillows, and sofas are outdated and uncomfortable. Besides that, the location is ver convenient too. It's close to everything. Thanks Raj for your hospitality; we'll definitely be back!

I travel a lot for work and stay in many hotels around Australia and it always puts a smile on my face when I arrive at the Best Western Olde Maritime Motor inn. There is always a friendly greeting when I check in and straight after I'm in the bar for a quick beer. The restaurant food is exceptional and menu is always changing. The rooms are always quiet, clean and spacious. The location is great as it gives me access to the beach with a short walk or the town centre. 10/10!

We booked a Superior Queen room which was very comfortable and quiet with good block-out curtains. It was very clean and freshly renovated. The reception was very welcoming and easy. We would definitely stay there again. The Motel is located close to be the ocean, the main street and Lake Pertobe, very convenient.

The staff at the Best Western Olde Maritime Motor Inn could not have been more accomodating. We were able to book last minute and asked for an early check in, to prepare for a friend's wedding. They had our room prepared first, took our bags and called us the minute the room was ready. They were able to sort out last minute transportation to Terang and were incredibly kind and helpful. I could not recommend the Best Western Olde Maritime Motor Inn enough and look forward to staying there when I am back in Warrnambool.

We booked here after cancelling our trip to sydney. The location is excellent- you can walk to kiosk, town centre, beach, deep blue spa, playground, lake, mini golf. Onsight parking great. Beds very comfortable, rooms very clean, kitchen very functional, ample supplies even down to glad wrap, foil, antibacterial spray n wipe. Foxtel available on tv. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment. Room 40 first night had a nice garden out the front but no bath so Raj moved us very happily to room 43 and that came with a spa! It was really great to have the spa room! Kids were so happy! He even put a Dvd player in upon our request. Will happily stay here next time we are in Warrnambool. Loved it!

Very clean and tidy rooms, friendly staff who were also great with kids. Traditional decor in the room was very fresh looking and bathroom had been recently renovated. Room was still made up during our stay, despite the staff shortages caused by Covid. Great position close to the adventure playground and walking distance all the local restaurants and cafes, even with a 6yo and 2yo. Plenty of parking available and easy to navigate car spaces. Lovely place to stay, we will be back!

The character and charm of this hotel give a lovely warm feel. The staff were helpful at all times given the trying circumstances at the moment. This motel is so amazing every time when I stay at the motel the staff is very helpful and lovely there's always happy to help raj is very helpful and every time when I stay he know my name if I don't stay there more then 6 months he knows who I am I really love staying here every things is very close to get to I don't have a car so I have to walk everywhere the motel is close to Warrnambool train station the rooms are clean and large too they have room service too and the shopping centre not too far away from the motel

Booked last minute and stayed one night with my husband on our way to Port Fairy. We stayed in a "modern" room with one queen and one twin bed. EXCELLENT location, extremely clean room (especially the bathroom), and very nice and friendly staff. I want to note too that the staff's helpfulness and positive attitudes we're shining even through some huge COVID staffing challenges in town. As far as a motel goes, this is about as good as it gets. Would certainly stay again!

What a wonderful place to stay! I managed to snatch the very last room, a Heritage room, via a very last minute same-day booking. At the reception, the lovely lady checking me in noticed I was a little rattled and I explained it was quite an eventful afternoon (long story short, we were supposed to stay in Portland for the night but the accommodation there was beyond dirty so we decided to book something else). She (wish I remembered her name!) made me feel really welcome and joked “well we have a lovely clean room for you here!”. She gave me a little bottle of champagne as “I looked like I could use it”. It was such a lovely gesture and so incredibly appreciated. The room was impeccable: incredibly clean, comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom. Can't fault it. Next day's breakfast was also great. The location couldn't be better, right next to Flagstaff Hill and close to all Warrnambool has to offer. Despite the circumstances leading up to the stay here were unfortunate, I'm so glad we ended up at the Olde Maritime and we'll definitely be back!

Third stay in the space of a year - perfectly located within walking distance from the beach and from town. The rooms are big, clean and have VERY comfortable beds. Staff are very friendly. I'll be back soon.

We enjoyed our two night stay. It's a nice location, away from main highway, close to sea and walking distance to all eateries and shops. Raj and his team were very welcoming. Onsite bar and restaurant would be handy also. Beds were very comfortable and room very clean

Our second visit and was extremely disappointed being woken at 3.30 in the morning by very noisy neighbours, this continued on the next day as party started about 3oclock, we checked out at 4 and surprised not to have heard from owner, will not return

Nice clean Motor Inn ideally situated in Warrnambool. Rooms are well appointed & generous in size. Raj , the owner is pleasant to all his guests & goes out of his way to make you feel welcome. The Clovelly restaurant was superb with a great choice of meals & wines.

You will get great service and comfortable rooms at this motel. It is situated close to everything Warrnambool has to offer. The restaurant has great food and service or you can relax by the fire at the bar. The owner, Raj is super friendly and will make sure that your stay is enjoyable. I have been going back to this motel once or twice a year for the last 15 years. I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.

I am a marriage celebrant and my daughter a florist. We had business in Timboon the following day and thought it would be good to stay in Warrnambool. I chose this motel because of its vicinity mainly. A lot of inexpensive motels to choose from I thought this would be nicer as well. The first room I had booked was a simple double room that had no microwave in it and the club chairs were very tattered and obvious stains on the carpet. I asked for an upgrade, a bigger room which cost an extra $110... the room was indeed bigger but was not worth the $257.00 I had parted with. 1. Cigarette smoke smell was very very strong. 2. No fly screens on windows so I was unable to keep windows open due to flies and being placed above the rubbish bins. 3. No fan in the single room or heater. 4. Stains on carpet throughout the apartment. 5. Lino had big cuts around the refrigerator. 6. Salt and pepper shakers were sticky with grime. 7. Remote control had something (probably food) stuck to it. 8. No reading lights in lounge room. 9. Only 3 tissues in tissue box. Yes the reception were very friendly but I truly expected a lot better condition to a supposed 4.5 star motel. You really need to clean up you act guys.....I rate you a 3 star at the most.

Great room which was clean and fresh, meals (breakfast and dinner) were delicious, service friendly and timely and bar/lounge area relaxing for a casual drink after. Check in and check out prompt and efficient. Will return again.

The BW Olde Maritime Motel has modern clean rooms and friendly, helpful staff. It is well situated for walking to the shopping area, restaurants, Lake Pertobe and Flagststaff Hill Maritime Village. On-site is a nice restaurant called Clovelly. We have stayed at this motel a couple of times and it is now our preferred motel when we're in Warrnambool. Highly recommended.

I'm currently reading the book 'The Kindness Revolution' so kindness was on my mind I arrived on a Friday. This Best Western has kindness in abundance! They cover everything from offering a pick up from the train station to offering us a quieter spot in the restaurant away from a noisy group. The room was spacious and very clean with a pleasant scent when you enter. It has a recently renovated bathroom with a rain showerhead (which was wonderful), and the bed was very comfortable. We had dinner in the on-site restaurant and the food and service was great. Ebony is a fabulous waitress who attended to our every need. Breakfast was included in our package and we had a beautiful breakfast, once again served by Ebony. We will definitely steady at BW again. A big thumbs up to Raj and his staff.

I would definitely recommend this accommodation in the future. The staff were fantastic, the location was central to everything I needed for my business trip, from the food available through to the amenities.

Quick weekend away without the kids. Rooms were clean and neat and I found the beds really comfy. Large screen TV was welcome. Parking was easy and close to our room. Easy walking to The Flagstaff Hill Village and down to the RSL for tea. Will happily stay here again on future visits.

The Best Western Olde Maritime has always been our go to motel in Warrnambool for both business and pleasure travel. In November we took the opportunity to take 15 of our Victorian accounts to Warrnambool for a catch up after the Melbourne lock down. Originally we had planned to take the group to the Dunkeld Cup, but with the restrictions not allowing crowds, we floated the idea with management of the Best Western Olde Maritime that we would run a horse racing theme event at their on site restaurant, Clovelly. The amount of time, dedication and attention to detail which was performed by the team at the Best Western and Clovelly delivered an event which exceeded all expectations. We had 40 customers attend the event and all have given feedback to us on how fantastic not only the event was, but the quality of food, beautiful presentation of the accommodation and outstanding customer service from the motel and restaurant. We could not be happier with our event and this motel - it really is a hidden gem in regional Victoria.

The level of customer service these guys go to is fantastic. They're so friendly and genuine. The room was spotless. We had breakfast included in our room deal and that was amazing as well. The only downside was the bed was a bit hard but that's also a personal thing. I would definitely go back just for the customer service alone

Very friendly and efficient staff, overseen by the enthusiastic manager, Raj. Room was spacious and very clean, bathroom spotless. Our room was in the wing by Merri St, which can be busy (thus a bit noisy) in daytime, but is quiet at night. Didn't bother us, but if it's an issue, ask for a room in one of the other wings, which would be quieter. The room was attractively laid out, and has a large TV, netflix included (but, unlike the people before us, remember to log out, or following guests can use your account!) Could open a window, which was good for fresh air. It also hosts the Clovelly restaurant & bar, one of Warnambool's best restaurants. Best of all, it's a short walk round the corner to the centre of town, shops, restaurants, cafes, etc, and a very short stroll in the opposite direction to the Flagstaff Hill attraction. Recommended.

Huge room and equally huge TV with a range of streaming options. Decor a bit dated now but spotlessly clean and comfortable furnishings. Great location, close to all amenities. Owner Raj was very pleasant to deal with. Will definitely be staying again if in Warnambool.

Beautiful spotless comfortable and well appointed rooms. We had dinner and breakfasts in the dining rooms which was excellent. Raj was very accommodating as we were a group of 13. Highly recommend. Hard to find a hotel that's run this well

Raj and his partner made our motorbike riding group very welcome. Even down to bags of rags to wipe out bikes down after a long ride. The breakfast was very nice and was well organized. Management like this is rare in this day and age. I highly recommend a stay here

It is a nice place and close to everything. The manager (Raj) was accomodating and very helpful. Also, Courtney was helpful. All the staff were nice. Booking flexibility given COVID situation was a big plus. Room is cosy, clean and comfortable. Highly recommend the place.

This hotel is amazing, the man behind the counter Raj was impeccable. They checked on our stay and comfort 20 mins into our arrival. We will definitely be staying here again and highly recommend. Room service was great, the food was amazing and reasonably priced.

Great place to stay when visiting Warrnambool. Rooms are clean and inviting, when I arrived the lights where on an heating turned on ready. TV's are all just updated to new smart TV's. Raj goes above and beyond, always friendly when greating you when arriving. I stayed on a Sunday night as the restaurant was closed I have dinner delivered. I didn't receive any cutlery with the takeaway so I called reception to see if I could borrow some. Raj answered and said he would bring me some he would just be a few minutes as he had just got home. I told him not to worry about it, about quarter of the way through eating my curry with a teaspoon, Raj knocks on my door. Clean room, great service, and great meals from the restaurant.

All the staff were exceptional. The motel has been updated since our last stay here 10 years ago. The rooms are clean, modern and well appointed. The meals we had for dinner and breakfast in the restaurant were very good. Motel is conveniently located within walking distance of the beach and main shopping/dining precinct.

What a fantastic place to stay! Large family room with beautifully renovated and modern bathroom. I especially liked the real milk option for our tea! Lovely quiet room and in a fantastic central location. Easy to get to and a short stroll to the centre of town.

I have stayed at Best Western Olde Maritime twice now - I love it how the staff greet me by my name when I arrive or query at reception or sit for a meal in the restaurant. Rooms a clean and well maintained. Restaurant food is very good. My only complaint - the parking spot for my room was too short for my Nissan Navara.

Our stays are always fantastic , the staff are all fantastic, the food is always delicious , the rooms are spotless; I wouldn't be able to pick the slightest fault anywhere. Warrnambool is such a great place to visit and explore.

A big plus is having The Clovelly restaurant as part of the complex allowing you to eat at the restaurant or have room service. The main street is also in easy walking distance.

Fantastic personalised service during Covid. Nothing too much trouble. Perfect location for walks on the beach. The food was absolutely beautiful, and came steaming hot. Breakfast also good, delivered to the door. The rooms were comfy, clean and the bathrooms have been updated.

Raj is a fantastic bloke. So friendly. Check in quick and easy. Loved the location. You could Walk down to beach or walk into Town. We had dinner there and it was so yummy. Wish I could have stayed another night to have the eye fillet.

What a fabulous motel!! I had originally messed up my booking which was very efficiently corrected by a staff member to the correct date without any fuss. We arrived to an upgraded Heritage Queen room which we found to be lovely. Located in the old Light Keepers home it had a certain charm, not to forget the gorgeous fireplace although not functioning added to the authenticity of the home. Everything we needed was supplied and the bedding, bed guaranteed a good nights sleep. We enjoyed pre dinner drinks in their bar by the cosy fire where the friendly staff came to the fore, most stopping for a chat which we found delightful. Dinner in the Clovelly restaurant was fabulous and once again service was attentive and friendly. I just want to single out one staff member although all staff we met were wonderful; Courtney who was responsible not only in fixing my booking blooper and our subsequent upgrade but was just so friendly and vivacious making sure each guest was looked after. Would thoroughly recommend this motel to everybody who will be assured a fantastically comfortable environment. Well done !!

Great location and nice rooms. Bed was comfy and the room was warm. Breakfast was really nice too. Very close to the main shopping street and to the Flagstaff Hill Maritime precinct. The staff were all really friendly and helpful too.

My group had four rooms. Without doubt the rooms were comfortable and well appointed. Staff were very friendly, approachable and made our stay very enjoyable. The bar and dining facilities were warm and inviting. A cosy open fire adds to this charm. Dinner and service was equally of a high standard. We were on business but i will return with my partner. The motel is conveniently located to the Flagstaff Maritime museum and a short distance from the town centre.

Had a brief one night stay of the supposed two-night stay that I initially booked in for due to Victoria's snap lockdown. Raj the hotel owner/manager was very friendly, professional, helpful. The place is oldish but very nice. Everything is clean and tidy. We stayed in a Deluxe Spa room. The room was spacious, the bathroom was spacious. We had a massive flat-screen TV and a dual-controller electric blanket for our bed. The location is great, literally just across the road from the beach and the lake. In saying that, there is not much view from our window though, we're on the 1st level and you can only see the road. All in all, it was a really good short stay, will definitely consider staying here again should we be back in Warrnambool :).

Enjoyed a recent overnight stay at this motel which provides comfort and modern amenities. The room, queen deluxe, and bathroom are very clean with a reverse cycle air conditioner and quality fittings. The rooms are an adequate size without being either cramped or overly spacious. Free parking is on-site outside your room. The on site licensed restaurant, 'Clovelly' , is worth a visit offering gourmet dinner and very attentive service. The wine list is interesting. Breakfast is also served in the restaurant and servings are generous and reasonably priced. Breakfast is a la carte so you pay for what you order rather than a set charge. I highly recommend this motel and restaurant.

The hotel is really nice and the food at the restaurant is absolutely superb. Staff were very nice and friendly. They were also very nice to upgrade us to a spa room. The location is also very good, with ample parking, and within walking distance to shops, parks and the beautiful bay. We're so glad we made the choice to head to Warrnambool, it was a much needed get away and was a wonderful change from the stresses of Melbourne. It was definitely an excellent choice and a much needed holiday after such a stressful year.

Raj and his staff always provide an oasis from the daily demands of business travel. The rooms are super clean and comfortable and the bar and restaurant offer a superb to any long day. The location close enough but far enough away from the city centre and only a short walk to the beach.

Had a lovely weekend away in the deluxe spa room, which was beautiful, clean and quiet. Spa bath was a real treat and great size. Staff were so friendly and made us feel very comfortable. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay here again!

A spontaneous decision to bring my daughter away for her 18th and a yr 12 break found us staying here for 2 nights. A comfortable and cosy stay in a spotlessly clean room. Walking distance to beaches, town, cafes and a number of Warrnambool's attractions. We also enjoyed a pre-ordered, most delicious, room service meal from the restaurant, when we returned after the restaurant had closed. Staff particularly friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

The rooms are very neat and clean, and it's nice to have some Foxtel channels on your tv as well. It's a good area too, its very close to lots of great areas in Warnambool. Overall it was pretty good.

From when we arrived until we checked out the staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was spotless clean and it made us feel better under the current situation. It was a 6.5 hour drive for us, and when we asked if we were able to get a drink they were only too happy to serve us from the bar attached to the Restaurant where we had booked for Dinner. The Manager was very friendly, nothing was of to much trouble for him. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

I chose this motor inn because it was close to the beach and the historic sites. Check-in was fast, efficient, and friendly. The rooms were comfortable, warm, and most importantly, they were quiet. The motel also has a welcoming bar with deep leather couches and friendly staff. Well worth checking out on your next visit.

Check in was a breeze, extremely friendly and helpful hosts, the room itself had olde worlde charm, a very beautiful room on the top floor, the bed was very cosy and comfortable. Close to the beach and city. We had drinks in the bar and they had the fire on so it was great to sit at the window and just enjoying the view. I want to add that I requested this room as I saw it on the website and wanted this room because I was having a Romantic weekend away and felt this room fitted what I wanted and I was definitely not disappointed at all. Highly recommend.

From reception to check out the staff went out of their way to make our 3 days a real holiday. We have never been offered a hand to carry our luggage from the car to the room before and this was the first of many incidents where the staff went that extra step to please us.Housekeeping,great girls,Dining Room and kitchen staff were excellent in all that they did.When we requested a meal not on the menu for the next two evenings it took only a few minutes for the Chef to organize and we were delighted at the resulting meals. From my wife and I,a great "well done" to all at Olde Maritime Warrnambool Definitely be back. Thanks to you all.

We found The Olde Maritime Motel very clean and the Spa Suite was very spacious. We ate in the restaurant and can highly recommend the delicious meals we ate and the owners and staff were absolutely delightful and friendly. I give my stay 10 /10 We will be back !

Checkin receptionist, dinner , bar and breakfast staff were extremely friendly and cheerful. Thoroughly enjoyed drinks, dinner and breakfast at the motel. Plenty of choices on menu. We had a wonderful stay for our 5th Anniversary. We stayed in a Heritage Room which was lovely and clean and eventhough it did front Merri Street thanks to the roadworks at the roundabout there was no through traffic so it was lovely and quiet. If you like quiet though, requesting a room away from there would normally be a good idea. The meal on Friday night was lovely and the staff were lovely and attentive. Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday was just to our liking and thankyou to Courtney for her lovely banter. Was nice to be welcomed and called "the Happy People". We would gladly stay again.

We were in Warrnambool recently for a family wedding. We chose the Maritime for its location across the road from Flagstaff Hill where the ceremony was held and on recommendation from family in the area. We chose a spa room in the older part of the Inn. The room was lovely and big, providing plenty of room for us to get ready. We ordered breakfast and it was delivered to our room which was super convenient. My only suggestion would be to swap out the double bed for a king sized bed. That would make the room and stay truly comfortable. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay room was lovely, no road noise, staff helpful and went above and beyond very attentive, delicious breakfast will definitely book again on our next trip. The staff made everything so easy- checking in, room service and even offering late check out for us. The bed was so comfortable and the shower was gorgeous. The location was really convenient for restaurants, the theatre and the beach are all close by.

We spent 4 nights here for the May Racing Carnival & we cannot fault a thing. Exceptionally clean & daily serviced with fresh towels, etc. Very comfortable beds & lounge/dining. The kitchen - laundry - bathroom - fully equipped with everything you need. Within walking distance to the town & many other tourist attractions. The Restaurant offers beautiful meals & the bar has all you need for that relaxing drink & chat. All the staff are very friendly & capable in their roles and owners Raj & Bronwyn are the "icing on the cake" - with their warm & welcoming hospitality prowess. Already booked in for same time next year :-) ... Loved it !

Four of us stayed in a two bedroom apartment during the May race carnival. Lovely accommodation. Spotlessly clean rooms. Very comfortable with everything you need. Great beds, pillows & linen. Very warm and cosy bar to enjoy an after race drink. The food at the onsite restaurant- Clovelly - is also great with a good local wine list. Can't wait to come back next year

The 2 bedroom family apartment was actually a full size, stand alone unit. Great layout, modern decor and appliances. The beds were soooo comfy! Awesome location perfectly positioned between town & shopping and the park/beach precinct. Would definitely stay again.

We spent 5 nights at this Motor Inn. We booked the Deluxe spa suite in the Lighthouse section. It was very comfortable and quiet, The room was a good size. We did not have a problem but you do have to go up 3 flights of stairs. We found the top floor very nice and homely.

The Room was comfortable, spacious & clean. Staff are always friendly and accommodating. Have stayed in a variety of rooms here over the years, all have been nice. Only a minute from the main street and easy access to the park and water.

What a gem of a place to stay whilst in Warrnambool. Motel style accommodation with varying room types. We had a deluxe spa room and it was clean, large and spacious. Liked the added bonus of some Foxtel channels. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and we received outstanding customer service from the front desk and from the server at breakky. I forgot your names sorry!! Our bed was a tad too firm for what we are used to but it did not detract from the stay. We had a weekend away and encountered friendly and hospitable people/staff everywhere we went. Great spot for a getaway and we will definitely be back to both this motel and the area again soon.

A great place to stay! Raj and the staff couldn't have been more pleasant or accommodating. A very comfortable night after a great meal with extended family in the adjoining Clovely restaurant. Will definitely stay there again!

We had a very enjoyable time and found the hotel central to Flagstaff Hill, shops and driving to other places of interest. The owner and the staff were very friendly and nothing was a trouble. We stayed in the Heritage Site Rooms which were comfortable but not upmarket which was to be expected. Breakfast was included a wide variety but did not include tea or coffee in the package which was unexpected. Certainly would recommend this hotel.

The motel is very clean and comfortable and the staff extremely friendly and polite, our only annoyance was that we booked our accommodation to include breakfast - however we found that we had to pay for tea and coffee - this was not explained at the time of booking and we would have thought that it would be a natural inclusion with breakfast. We would recommend this place to anyone and would go back again, but I would be smarter next time and question the extra cost of tea and coffee with breakfast.

This was our third stayed with Best Western Olde Maritime Inn. I've not look for other accommodation in Warrnambool since our first time with Olde Maritime. Room was clean, comfortable, relaxing. Great and convenient location. Clovelly Restaurant on site was great. Raj and his team are very friendly and helpful.

A last minute booking for a camping traveller to get out of the rain and cold. The manager was very personable. Hotel room spacious, the bed and pillows perfect. The room was spotless, from crisp white sheets right through to the fan cover in the bathroom ceiling. Thank you.

The Best Western Olde Maritime Motor Inn is under the direction of the formidable and bubbly Raj and knowledgable Brownyn - who always check in to see how you are, even when dining - lovely personalised treatment. I can rarely write that ALL the staff I encounter are friendly, obliging and full of local tips and hints - but they are here!!! A shout out to Emma, Max, Georgia and Ebony - your enthusiasm is an asset to the BWOMMI. Housekeeping - their attention to the little things reminded me of a time where staff left notes and goodies in the rooms welcoming guests. Easter eggs, a bunny peg and a note - made for an extra special arrival. Their job is so much harder due to COVID cleaning regulations - so make sure to thank them. The motor inn is centrally located to the shopping district and tourist attractions. I strongly recommend having a car/bike to reach the tourist areas, or take a leisurely walk into town, if able. There is a selection of basic rooms, leading to small apartments, no set carpark space, and shared with locals who dine at the restaurant. My accommodation [Room 10] was a basic room, easily enough for a couple or one. The Bed/Sleeping Quality -.5 A queen with industrial-strength sheets, separated by a woollen blanket and sturdy pillows - enough to keep you quite warm on colder nights. The mattress's right side clearly had been slept in the most, so the left was my choice. If you are a light sleeper, the soundproofing isn't the best, and people coming and going from the carpark can make it difficult to stay asleep. Australia is known for a vast array of insects, so spraying your room once you arrive is recommended as a precaution [NOTE: I do that everywhere I go] - they have a spray in the cupboard if you don't have your own. The Bathroom: Had been newly renovated with a shower, toilet and basin. It is classy and minimalistic - many of the usual amenities are found in the draws, leaving you space for your items - perfect set up. The water pressure is great, water is drinkable, and the aircon works well to quickly heat/cool the small space. Other Amenities: The fridge is big enough to house a few of your items [for example, long-life milk, small tubs of fruit and cans of fish], and there is a small freezer too - great for travel ice packs. The usual TV, tea and coffee making items, iron, board, spare bedding were there. A small table and two chairs were enough for a workbench or place to sit and have a tea/snack. There is plenty of room to store cases etc., around the room or in the cupboard. Gym/Laundry services: I wasn't aware of the gym being operational at this time, so you would need to check. The laundry service with dryers run on a token system - 1 token = 30minutes. A bag of washing powder is $4, and I am still using some of it weeks later. They also have a place to store bikes. The Clovelly Restaurant: This has had a bit of a facelift during the lockdown and is well set out for patrons to be socially distanced. The new menu, launched recently, gives you abundant choices that cater to different palates and dietary needs. [More about the food in another review]. They have breakfast service, and all menu items can also be ordered as room service. Be sure to check out their daily specials too. I will also mention the extremely talented Chefs Johnny and Bryce plus their apprentice Mario - your attention to detail and willingness to listen to feedback is commendable and appreciated. The new menu, IMHO, is a taste sensation. Next to the restaurant is the bar and a social area - great to do some work, read, or drink with mates. Their wifi is free, reliable and fast. Perfect for families and young couples, overnight stays or a beach getaway. This place is proof that positive hospitality and interaction goes a long way to impress the guests - thank you.

Clean, comfortable and spacious rooms. Motel was close to beach with plenty of parking. Had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant and both meals exceeded our expectations. Raj and his team were very accommodating and friendly. Everyone was eager to help and always had a smile on their face.

Due to a vehicle breakdown overnight accommodation was required which finished up lasting 3 nights. The rooms are spacious and are serviced daily. The staff were excellent in their assistance to us for the entire stay. A full cooked breakfast was able to be included at a very reasonable cost. A great location with ample parking for all guests.

They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early (book direct). We got to BW one hour early and we didn't wanna wait. So this was a big plus. The service was exceptional as well. Amazing place great location awesome hosts and friendly staff, Would definitely send a friend there. .. you cant go wrong!!!

Stayed in Heritage room 22 which consisted of large bedroom, spacious modern bathroom and sitting room with table for two by a fireplace (no fire), jug, toaster and fridge. Tea, coffee, decaf and biscuits supplied and fresh milk on arrival. Bed was really comfortable and rooms very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Ate in the restaurant with friends and we were all very pleased with our excellent meals. Walking distance to main street and literally across the road from the Flagstaff Hill Maritime Village. Felt very safe as a solo traveler. Will definitely stay here on my next visit to Warrnambool

We have stayed here on several occasions and it has never disappointed us , the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are well maintained and very clean. The breakfasts we had as part of the package were excellent .

This is a very quiet motel with large comfortable rooms. Restaurant was closed but we had a drink in the lovely bar area. The motel was close walking distance to the local RSL club where we had a meal. Would stay here again.

The manager and receptionist welcomed us warmly and advised us of the services they provide. All of the staff members we came into contact with were friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious very well appointed with TV, very good wifi, microwave oven coffee tea and milk. The extra large double bed was comfortable and remade daily. The property is well situated directly opposite the ocean and is a short walking distance from shops and restaurants. We found all aspects of the property excellent and we will certainly return in the future.

We felt very welcome at the Olde Maratime and I would have to say that it was one of the best stays in a hotel I have ever experienced. The whole building was lovely and clean and tastefully decorated. Staff were welcoming and friendly and made us feel at home.

Well, we have been to the Olde Maritime Inn once before it was a great place to base our trips around we liked it so much we went back this time and Raj has still got the best place to stay in Warrnambool very clean and staff very helpful and that makes it a great holiday destination when you have no problems with where you are staying, takes a lot of stress of your vacation.

Aesthetically historic beauty, well located within walking distance to the beach and everything else and welcomed by wonderful staff. Lovely clean, spacious rooms, great food in the restaurant and very pleasant atmosphere. What more can you ask for?!

Excellent staff, friendly and courteous, meals were timely and delicious. I requested a change of a breakfast item and the staff and chef were more than happy to help me. Nothing was a problem for staff. Nice room with everything I needed.

Best hotel for a affordable price in warrnambool. Free wifi, early check-in and late check-out. Clean and tidy large room. staff was amazing. only drawback is the Shower room which is bit tiny. Apart from that everything else was perfect. Would love to go back again. Highly recommended !!

We stayed a wonderful 3 nights here and couldn't have enjoyed our stay more! We ordered room service a few meals and it was great. The location was perfect to explore everything warrnambool has to offer. Thank you for having us, we will be back!

This is my preferred motel in Warrnambool (after having tried a couple others). While the decor is a bit old-fashioned, it was clean and very comfortable and spacious too. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

We have stayed here on several occasions now and would not bother going anywhere else. The staff are most welcoming and service is excellent. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. RSL is in walking distance or the dining room has excellent meals for your enjoyment.

My wife and I stayed only 1 night on our way along the great ocean road whilst visiting from Qld. We had a great experience thanks to staff who were all fantastic. The room was clean modern and spacious, whilst the position of the motel is perfect and central. Nothing was a problem for the staff and we even received 3 different morning newspapers on the morning of departure. Breakfast delivered to our room was also fantastic. Congratulations to Management and staff, you deserve 10/10. We will try to get back soon!

Due to back surgery I have now a condition called drop foot in my left leg . Which means I need some space for showering and the toilet . This Motor in offers great service with friendly helpful staff . The down side is it does not offer disabled options . I would recommend this establishment if you are able bodied and not on the large size .

Comfortable clean rooms, handy location. Car park was full so a bit of a squeeze to park but nice and quite for the time we stayed. Lovely area to walk around and friendly staff. Décor a bit tired but otherwise fine.

Fantastic room, was very neat and tidy Beautiful rib eye steak from the restaurant for inner and a great "Big Breakfast" in the morning. Great service from reception and waiting staff I will definitely be staying here again

Spacious, well laid out room, with all amenities provided. Room decor was charming with everything clean to a very good standard. Staff at reception are very efficient, friendly and helpful. The motel is located across from the Maritime museum. It is also a short, pleasant walk to the main shops and restaurants. Very good value for money and would definitely choose to stay here again if visiting Warrnambool. Disliked · Nothing not to like. If being really picky the only thing is that the bathroom could do with a little bit of updating.

Arrived and was checked in by Raj who was very welcoming. The room was very clean and comfortable which was much appreciated in these times. The bed was comfortable which is also great when away from home. All the staff were very friendly and helpful which is refreshing compared to some of the places we have stayed over the years. Breakfast was very tasty and filling. Ate dinner there on the Saturday night which was well worth staying in for. Thank you for your great hospitality and comfortable stay. Would recommend to stay and would go back.

Was very impressed with the hospitality. All Staff were amazing & went out of their way to help you in any way. Room was clean, roomy & comfortable. As always, a lovely relaxing stay at olde maritime. Raj and his staff are wonderful and friendly and always doing whatever they can to make our stay a comfortable one. The room was very clean and comfy. We will be back.

Booked in on Monday afternoon and was greeted with a smile well under her mask I guess there was one. I found the room to be well cleaned and well appointed. I booked for dinner and found the food and choices well done, along with a good wine list.

We stayed in one of the lighthouse suites for the weekend. The room was beautiful, staff were very pleasant and helpful. Ate a few meals at the Clovelly restaurant which were all delicious and again fabulous service. Highly recommended.

Hotel rooms a little dated but clean and comfortable. The staff are some of the very best I have ever met in my travels, nothing was too much trouble. Bar and Restaurnt excellent. Great Stay. Would highly recommend

We booked premium Queen room, this was lovely and clean. The bed was really comfortable, loved that there was USB power point as I'd forgotten to pack the plug! Great location, easy to walk to town and beach.

Great room, great restaurant, great service. Raj is a human dynamo. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed dinner at the restaurant and breakfast the next morning. We will be back when next in Warrnambool.

2 bedroom apartment was perfect for our family stay, immaculately clean with everything you could need. Staff were beyond polite and accommodating including housekeeping staff, nothing was to much trouble. It's the best location, we walked everywhere and the park is right across the road for the kids. Would 100% recommend to stay here!

Stayed here for 3 nights - room was great, very clean and spacious, staff were very welcoming and friendly, restaurant and breakfast food all very good - would definitely stay here again and have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Great location, no noise at night, great bathroom and comfortable bed. Restuarnt choice was perfect and good wine list. Very close to awesome walks in several directions especiall teh sand dunes walk to teh Hopkins River and abck early in teh morning. After a busy few days seeing customers the restuarant and bar were a nice oasis.

We recently stayed for 5 days in a Family apartment. I booked it late so wasn't expecting much, but the apartment exceeded my expectations. The apartment had everything we needed & was very clean & perfect for our stay. Having a kitchen with everything was perfect for a family stay. The location is right in the centre of town, walking distance to everything. The service at the hotel was excellent. We had a wonderful stay & would definitely recommend this accomodation to anyone.

It was a great place to stay. We had 2 rooms, my parents were in the Spa room upstairs (highly recommend them), very clean and the staff very friendly and pleasant. The Clovely Restaurant has amazing food. Need to try their Sticky Date Pudding. Conveniently located, highly recommend.

Great size room with a comfortable bed. Room was quiet considering the amount of street traffic. Restaurant food was amazing, as was both room service and in restaurant breakfast. Staff were very friendly and service was excellent. Check in/out very fast and efficient. Highly recommend for families, couples or singles. We will definitely stay there again!

Absolutely gorgeous room the space was used so well a big corner spa beautiful view from our window the staff at reception were so welcoming the price was reasonable absolutely loved our stay will definitely be back
