Best Western Hotel Olde Maritime Motor Inn, Warrnambool

We caught the train from Geelong to Warrnambool and the Olde Maritime was just a short walk from the station. It's in a great spot, near everything, including the shopping strip for those on foot. The king spa room was great, very clean and spacious and the staff were all super friendly and helpful. The food at the attached restaurant was delicious and the service was fast and friendly. An A+++ from us!

Very friendly team and quick service. Loved the rooms- very clean and the entire place is spotless. This place is a must for anyone returning to this location. Highly recommended! I will be going back to this hotel.

So clean, friendly service, brilliant service, Great restaurant on site, spacious room, well equipped…. Would highly recommend, close to everything ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ easy drive back but to ocean road to finish off our sight seeing and an easy drive to port fairy

There was 3 of us in the family room which was nice and had room. Room was clean and the staff were attentive. The only negative we have is the air con only cools the bottom room and is placed nicer to eves which is very cold. The mezzanine stays stuffy and hot and needs a at the very least a fan. But overall a pleasant stay. Location is perfect as well.

We just love Warrnambool and this is our go to accommodation. We would not stay anywhere else. Professional staff that cannot do enough for you nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are very clean, comfy beds and plenty of pillows. Restaurant has a great new menu, we ate in several nights during our stay and was not disappointed. The food was fantastic and very generous in size.

Had an overnight stay at Christmas and were greeted with a warm welcome from the hosts and the staff were friendly and cheerful. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet with a lovely updated bathroom. Great communication from the host prior to our stay. Highly recommeded.

We stayed here for a Christmas treat in a deluxe spa room. The room was very clean, very comfy and very quiet. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. We could see the ocean from our room. Communication before the stay was good. We highly recommend as a place to stay in Warrnambool. We will visit again.

Room was very comfortable and bar / restaurant area very cosy. The highlight however was the friendliness and professionalism of the staff, which I found to be first rate! We were very well treated on arrival and this level of service extended to the bar staff.

I've been staying at this Hotel for over 15years through different employment. Raj and staff are really great to deal with, excellent facilities. Excellent location in Warrnambool, walking distance to shops & restaurants

Very friendly and welcoming, very nice breakfast. Room is spacious and extremely clean, the beds are very comfortable, and the bathroom is renovated with everything you need. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It is close to CBD. We will definitely come back.

Always love coming back to this motel you always get great service here they always welcome you back the manager Raj and the staff always give great service if you need something they always help you in anyway it's not far from Warrnambool train station and it's about 5 minutes walk to shops I come back when I come down from Geelong the staff in the restaurant always give great service as well you would never be disappointed at this motel you will be always come back

Comfortable, quiet, and convenient holiday location. / Why the insistence on a two hundred character minimum? Admin please note that a few succinct words can sum up a trip perfectly well. We are not overly verbose public servants.

If you are traveling through Warrnambool, do yourself a favour and stay at the best place in town! Raj and Bronwyn are the most gracious and wonderful hosts! Always smiling and happy to help in every way!! They run a great shop...and their team is also incredibly professional and very attentive. The rooms are well appointed, clean and well maintained.The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen serves delicious and well priced meals. I have stayed at other places in Warrnambool...BUT THIS IS THE BEST!

The team were incredibly friendly and helpful. The bed was really comfortable and the room quite spacious, clean and inviting. I was staying on my own for a business trip and felt quite safe and well looked after. Breakfast was delicious. Easy walking distance to town centre.

We recently had a 3 night stay here and were extremely impressed with the service, the Restaurant both for Breakfast and Dinner, the cleanliness of the room, and the willingness of Raj to meet all of our requirements.

Absolutely enjoyed my stay as the room was very spacious room with a great TV and good heating. It was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and accommodated my request for a late check-in and kept my key in a safe place for me to find. They also had the heater turned on before my arrival to ensure the room was warm!

The whole experience right from the initial phone call to book has been outstanding. Special consideration and care was given in regards to accommodating myself, my guide dog, and my elderly parents. The apartment was spacious, light, airy, and absolutely spotless. All staff were friendly, respectful, and courteous. We will be back!

Typical motel connected to a great restaurant. Room was fine, nothing outstanding but what makes the place is that it is a few steps away from front desk, nice bar, and great restaurant. Very pleased.

I highly recommend this motor inn, it's located close to town and the beach and a main tourist attraction. The rooms were suitable and decent that met my high-level standards. The facilities were in great knick. The food at the in-house restaurant were big servings and delicious and I noticed that everyone there on business trips were on return trips.

We found the room to be comfortable and clean. The restaurant is amazing. The staff made room for us at the fully booked restaurant for dinner one Saturday night. The food was unbelievable. Breakfast the next morning was also top notch. The staff were attentive and courteous and made us feel welcome. The rates for this Motor Inn are very reasonable and the menu prices at their restaurant are also value for money. We would recommend this place to anyone.

I stay here whilst visiting Warrnambool on business., and have been for over 20 years, so my views here are based on a one or two night stay for work not pleasure. I have always found the rooms clean, hygienic, comfortable, and well appointed. The main reason I continue to stay here, is because the owners and the staff....they simply go out of there way to try to ensure your visit is as comfortable & pleasant as possible! As a customer staying for work purposes, I often have dine in (room service dinner) this would be my only complaint as that the menu is not great for travelling business people, as often we need/want something quite basic, but wholesome for dinner. Other than that 'whinge' I can't recommend this place highly enough.

Booked direct and got a great deal on a two bedroom apartment. The apartment appeared to have been recently refurbished, was spotlessly clean, beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed, bathroom was well supplied and there was more than enough space for two adults and two teens. The location is great, over the road from Lake Pertobe and Flagstaff Hill, and a short walk into town. Will definitely be coming back.

We had a brilliant experience here. Awesome service and its position is so close to the lake and beach for a walk, bars for a cocktail and a wide range of shops. We had a great time and was made better by the staffs great sense of humour and big smiles.

Had a one night stay at this motel, rooms are a little dated but very clean, everything worked well and nice and dark, great location short walk to some great eats and great restaurant onsite if you prefer. We ate at the motel had a great meal with excellent service

This is our go to accommodation in Warrnambool. The staff are very friendly and helpful as well as being professional. Our room was spotless clean and very spacious, plenty of pillows and bathroom has a great shower. The Bar and Restaurant had plenty of choice of wine and beer great men. Food was cooked to perfection.

All the staff and particularly the manager were fantastic. We arrived 1 day early due to my mistake when booking. A room was found and then upgraded when the a/c was faulty. The food at the restaurant was excellent. The bed was comfortable.

Fantastic room very spacious. Spotlessly clean. Reception staff were very helpful and courteous. Short walk to Warrnambool RSL and Pippies on the Bay. Easy walking distance to shops, hotels, Bowling Club and cafes.

Excellent accommodation, that was reasonably priced, clean and very comfortable for our 3 day stay. Bed and bedding excellent and the bathroom was very clean. Staff very friendly and we would recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in Warrnambool.

Rated 3 stars but should be 5. Rooms and apartments freshly redecorated, comfortable beds and a terrific restaurant (Clovelly) to boot. And it's so close to the water and Flagstaff tourism area with the other direction easy to get to shops. Thank you for your hospitality. Warning: We came by train so don't expect any taxis despite pre booking . Luckily the 12 m walk for us seniors was manageable even with our cases

We liked the older style of this motel compared with the often sterile looking and feeling motels available. Our spa-bath room was spacious, very comfortable and very clean. It was quiet and there was easy access to our carpark and the exit to the road. The reception staff were friendly and very helpful. Our stay was a really nice experience.

We recently stayed for 2 nights for a bit of R & R. We came into the room not knowing what to expect from a 3 star inn. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the bed, pillows, linen, towels and amenities, definitely 5 stars! The bathroom was new and modern. It was a 2 minute walk to Flagstaff Hill Maritime Museum, 10minute walk to the beach promenade, and Lake Pertobe too. We also had dinner at Clovelly Restaurant, the steak was perfectly cooked. We will be back!

Great beds, great range of food on the menu, fantastic meals that are superbly cooked, absolutely delicious and really well priced. All areas are very neat, tidy and clean. Staff are absolutely dedicated to customer satisfaction, were extremely quick with all services and we will definitely be back.

I recently stayed here for work. The staff were fantastic always made you feel welcome. The restaurant on site had lovely meals that were always consistent. One of the best places I've stayed at would highly recommend.

The two bedroom apartment was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Everything that we had need of was provided. The close proximity to the township and the Bay was just wonderful. Great location. Crisp white clean sheets on a big king bed. Loved the hot tub and being able to fit in it properly. Best feature though was the wonderful staff, especially Courtney who was so hospitable, kind and friendly even when I must have been a bother doing work on my laptop in the sitting area. I always stay at best western olde maritime it's a lovely place with nice clean rooms and lovely helpful staff and not to mention clovelly restaurant which serves some of the best food in Warrnambool 10/10 to the chef there amazing dishes .I encourage you to stay at olde maritime you won't be disappointed.Big thanks to Raj and the team for always making my stay comfortable .

The owner and staff were all abolutely amazing. We arrived early, and they made our room available for us, then also gave us a late check out, all out no extra cost. The day of our departure it was raining, so Raj (the owner) gave us and another couple of lift to the train station. We opted for the Breakfast inclusion, and were very glad to of done so, the meal was way above our expectations. Would definitely be going back again, and would recommend this place to anybody.

I stayed in this place for a night along with my family during our recent vacation. Found the place to be really nice. We had taken a suit room and it was absolutely perfect to our taste. The decor and amenities in the room was awesome. We also had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant in the hotel and it was superb. The hotel staffs are extremely friendly and very helpful. I was having an issue with the Aircon but it was solved in no time. Would highly recommend this place for anybody looking at a place to stay in Warrnambol. Will always have very pleasant memories of our stay in this place.

The owners and staff were A+......clean, comfortable room with all that you need to enjoy a great night away. The food in the restaurant was absolutely magnificent and the beer on tap was an added bonus. Location is fantastic being only a short stroll to restaurants/bars.

The owners and staff are excellent. They are all friendly, helpful and always smiling. From check in to check out the service was excellent. The room was large and well maintained and the bed was very comfortable. We had breakfast each day and it was served on time and tasted great. Good value for money

Just spent three relaxing nights at Great Western Olde Maritime, Warnambool. Our room was spacious, clean and we'll serviced. The onsite restaurant and bar provides a great atmosphere, with an excellent menu. All provided by Raj and his friendly and attentive staff. I fully recommend a stay here.

We only stayed one night here but were very happy with the cleanliness and convenient location. More than that, when we arrived home we discovered our daughter had accidentally left her most important plush fox in the room (we're talking lifelong childhood plush toy). Luckily after a phone call and a couple of emails/messages he was found! The staff were so helpful and looked after him until we could return. We can't thank them enough. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

What do you need for an overnight business stay? Friendly, helpful people. Quick check-in. Clean rooms. Comfortable bed. Good pillows. Quiet nights. (I heard the rain but not the traffic) An efficient heater. Hot shower. Modern bathroom. A decent restaurant. And Kooka biscuits with your late night coffee. This place has everything I want in a short stay, so I must rate it high.

Clean, tidy, good layout, plenty of lighting and charging ports. Staff were exceptional on arrival and throughout encounters with them from checking in to checking out. Location was awesome near centre of town, quiet street, plenty of parking spaces. Ordered the room service breakfast, which was good value and high quality.

From checking in to checking out everything was perfect. Spotless clean room very comfortable bed plenty of pillows. We had drinks in the bar each day and ate in the Restaurant. Great choice of food perfectly cooked and couldn't fault service. Definitely recommend this to anyone who is coming to Warrnambool.

The Inn is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Warnambool, especially if going to Flagstaff Hill which is just a 5 minute walk across the road. Staff are very friendly and the rooms are clean, comfortable and well appointed. The restaurant is excellent and breakfast was well worth the money. This is our new go to motel in Warnambool.

A perfect place to stay, they have thought of everything to ensure that your stay is pleasant. I felt so at home here. The beds are incredibly comfortable, the best I've ever slept on. Cannot wait to return.

We stayed here for a quick Warrnambool getaway over school holidays in winter, we had a family mezzanine room which was phenomenal! Super spacious with space to chill, dining table and lots of play space for the kids who LOVED the upstairs with their own TV! The room was very clean, smart TV to log into Netflix and Disney, absolutely perfect for what we needed! The location was excellent for what we wanted, it was quiet, across the road from Flagstaff Hill, super close to shops and lots of eating choices. The service was phenomenal, all of the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, we were so impressed! We had breakfast at the restaurant for two mornings, and although it was overall great, one morning seemed to be excellent whereas the other was a bit different (e.g. burnt bacon, scrambled eggs were dry and had too much pepper, whereas the next day was perfect creamy eggs and fresh maple bacon). Otherwise, the only thing we picked up on was our shower temperature was a bit inconsistent, randomly it would get scalding hot, and then too cold, then hot again (without any other person using the water at the same time). But definitely didn't ruin our holiday and would absolutely come back next time we're in Warrnambool!! Thanks for an amazing experience, we loved the facilities and effort your team put into knowing our names, being friendly, and going above and beyond!! Thanks!!

Raj and Bronwyn are lovely hosts and always make you feel valued. The service is very friendly and the food at Clovelly is so delicious . The rooms are really comfortable, clean and close to everything.... It's always a pleasure coming back to this place.

During our stay in Warrnambool we were very pleased to have stayed here. Conveniently located, nice clean and comfortable room, breakfast offerings were tasty and well prepared. Staff were lovely and welcoming, we would not hesitate to stay here again for our next visit.

Mark, Taine and the team are fantastic! The room was great but honestly the team were what made it! More than obliging, great atmosphere and really went the extra mile to make sure I felt welcome! I have already started telling all my friends and family!

Greeted personally in a friendly yet professional manner. Raj and his team were excellent in every way. The Old Maritime (Clovelly) is a great place for a few days; central, close to everything, friendly staff, and clean, clean, clean. We'll be back as we could walk everywhere, other than Port Fairy Golf Club.

We stayed in a Family Mezzanine room over Easter. The room was very charming and very clean and comfortable. The owner Raj could not do enough to help with any queries and all the staff were lovely. Would highly recommend staying here.

This was our second time staying at the Best Western Olde Maritime Motel in Warrnambool and we would happily stay again in future. Not only is the location great, and the rooms clean and comfortable, but the staff are amazing too and go out of their way to make your stay a good one. Sadly one of our children was quite unwell this time and needed to go to hospital in an ambulance in the early hours of the morning, but the staff were very accommodating of a couple of additional needs we experienced during this difficult time and we are very grateful for their hospitality and understanding. If you're looking for somewhere to stay in Warrnambool, definitely consider the Olde Maritime!

Staff are very friendly and apartment was clean. Took ages for the spa bath to fill up, but it was great when full. Location was great too. Walking distance to a lot of the key locations Overall great stay

Fantastic accommodation, in a great position & the Manager was so lovely…. He carried our luggage to our mezzanine room. This room was gorgeous & had everything we needed; cutlery, crockery, microwave, TV with Foxtel, electric blankets, air con, plenty of cupboard space & I loved the ‘makeup remover' face washer. The only thing I will say is… if stairs are a concern this room is NOT for you. There are over 20 stairs up to the door & then of course the stairs to the mezzanine level but luckily there are other rooms, just as nice, that will suit you better.

I highly recommend the stay at the olde Maritime Best western. A special thank you to Raj, who made my stay with my children feel so special. Room was extremely clean and comfortable. Staff was lovely. A great central location. The restaurant was a bonus with great breakfast and meals. We will be definitely be back. Thanks for making our stay so wonderful!

The customer service at this motel is exemplar, on arrival Raj speedily booked us in, offered plenty of information and made us feel welcome. The staff in the restaurant including Tarne and Courtney who was front of house were professional in their service and also friendly. Our room was spacious, with table and lounge and impeccably clean. Our room faced the south and was very quiet enabling us to enjoy 2 good nights sleep. Easy walking distance to both the beach and town. Restaurant offered a good range of meals for breakfast and dinner. We have travelled worldwide and I would say that Raj and his team'scustomer service across the board is better than most hotels offer. Congratulations

We were made to feel welcome by Raj and Courtney from our arrival to our departure four days later. Nothing was too much trouble for them, The cooked breakfasts are to die for. The "Olde Maritime" is within easy walking to the beach/scienic walks and the main shopping center of Warrnambool. We have stayed here before and will do so again.

We have been travelling for 2 years and Courtney and the front office reception staff at the Best Western Olde Maritime Motor Inn were some of the friendliest most welcoming people we have ever met. Courtney was so kind and gave us plenty of information about the area and things to do, she went out of her way to make our short stay in Warrnambool so wonderful. The room was really comfortable, had everything we needed and is perfectly located being a really short drive to all of the pretty tourist spots + shops. Highly recommend staying at the Best Western Olde Maritime. Raj and his team provided exceptional service and made us feel very welcomed. Everything was perfect from the comfortable family room to the breakfast and dinner service which was delicious. The family room was spotless and ample space for all of us, with a separate table/sitting area. The beds were comfortable and pillows also good quality. The location was great and only a few minutes to the shops and hot springs. Raj and his team also went above and beyond to make my sister (who was also staying there) feel extra special on her birthday. Good position auiet area. We stayed in a heritage room at the back of hotel, it was a large comfortable room. You can walk to museum and bowls club and other places to eat. The beach and family park just over the hill a short drive.

We stayed in a delightful 2br apartment at the Olde Maritime Motor Inn. This apartment had everything to make a short or long stay a success. Delightful staff and excellent and prompt service. A further advantage is a first class restaurant on the premises. This was particularly advantageous after a long journey.

Excellent accommodation option for us in Warrnambool. We had cooking facilities, comfortable quiet rooms, Foxtel at night and a restaurant on site with others very close by. Weather was perfect and during the day we were able to go to the beach, your the local area, short trips to places like port fairy and also visited the maritime museum which was very interesting

Raj and the team were really friendly, professional and accommodating. I made a last minute booking on a Thursday morning to stay that and the following night ~ Raj reserved a Queen room for me. An impromptu dinner at the restaurant that evening (Barramundi - yum! - my compliments to the chef & team) was so delicious, I dined there the following night also (Rib Eye - delicious, also - thanks team). As a person who enjoys fresh air in my room, I was disappointed to learn most of the rooms (including the one I had) have sealed windows. Fortunately the split system air conditioner worked well and I was able to have air movement. I now know to request a room with opening windows, next time. The Inn is located very close to the Information Centre, RSL and Liebig Street (showcasing both retail and dining options). Thank you to Raj and the team for helping to make my impromptu mini break so lovely.

We have been staying here every year for the Port Fairy Folk festival ('the Folkie'). Excellent accommodation, and service, this year the unit was spotlessely clean, amongst the cleanest accomm I have ever seen. Raj callls ahead to confirm bookings and always responds quickly.

Good service but for the size of the room an outrageus price $690 for 3 nights. I guess thats what you pay on a long weekend but i wouldnt return.Rooms clean and service regulary. would have been good to put some fresh milk in the fridge. Good recommendation of the Myrtle bar

From the moment I arrived the staff were very friendly and helpful. Very clean, comfortable rooms and the restaurant serves amazing meals. Definitely where I'll be staying every time I visit Warrnambool.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment...beautiful, very clean and spacious. Raj was fantastic! We had trouble with our door and the team went above and beyond to fix it promptly! Amazing customer service! Would absolutely stay again!

Friendliness and efficiency of the staff. The room was comfortable, clean and all appliances worked well. The only issues were with air flow through the room. We slept with the door ajar and the safety lock on. We would like windows to open, but realize on the ground floor security is an issue.

The two bedroom apartment was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Would be absolutely ideal for families. The motel is situated in a perfect spot. Ten minutes walk to Warrnambool CBD and ten minutes walk to beach and Lake Pertobe. Motel restaurant food was delicious. Both reception and restaurant staff were extremely friendly, courteous and attentive. Only downside of the motel is that parking is quite tight and bigger cars have to work harder to get out of spots. That said, the number of “pros” far outweigh this one small “con”. My wife and have stayed there twice over the last couple of weeks, great place to stay, we ate in the restaurant both times and had breakfast both times. Great staff and really good food, would really recommend it as a great place to stay in Warrnambool.

We booked this motel on our way back from a business trip. We had teenagers with us. They absolutely loved the room, we had excellent internet, quiet private rooms. The staff were incredibly polite and welcoming. We would come back and stay here again

Raj & the team were just amazing, friendly, helpful and keen to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. Hotel is in the perfect location being close to the lake, beach & centre of town. I stayed in a spa room which was a great size, it included foxtel on a large t.v and the blockout curtains kept my room private and dark for an enjoyable sleep in. Best choice of accommodation in Warnambool and great value for money. I will be returning!

We stayed in a 2 BR Apt. And we were so pleased to be offered an upgrade PRIOR to attending. That was a good first impression that lasted the 2 night stay in what was a spacious lovely room(s) for us 4.

Stayed in one of the rooms in the old harbour masters building. Just lovely with period features but all the modern conveniences. Had a nightcap at the bar and a very nice breakfast in the restaurant next morning.

Very nice, clean and spacious accommodation in a quiet location near the coast and the Warrnambool Visitor Information Centre. Brilliant and helpful staff in every way. The restaurant was beautifully laid out, with good service and delicious food.

Welcoming host showed us room options. The room was big to allow for a tub chair each and the new cabinetry was slick and modern. Oh.. the massive walk in shower....superb! Cost of room certainly value for money.

Arguably the best location in Warrnambool - about 5 or 10 minutes walk to the best spots in town. Clean, modern, quiet rooms. Raj and his staff are very friendly. Prices are great. Good food at Clovelly Restaurant and a comfortable lounge area. If in town, go there!

The motel looked newly renovated, was clean and everything was in good working order. For me, the only downside was the noise from the road which was not really a problem after dark. I would imagine the rooms at the back would be quieter. I'd be happy to return.

The staff were very lovely and accommodating. Had dinner at the restaurant which was delicious and they catered for health needs. Great location and really clean room. Shower pressure was amazing!! Loved the bay window you could sit in. Only down side noisy people upstairs and we could hear everything. Bed was a little hard for me, but it's impossible to please everyone. The sheets were lovely and soft and clean the aircon was good. Will stay again

Premium twin room was a good size and had large screen tv with limited foxtel , fridge in the room was helpful ... it's a great location with ample parking and you can walk or drive to anywhere easily from here. The bed and breakfast rate was good value , with a quality breakfast served in the restaurant to the table (who wants to go near a buffet atm). The door key needed to be reprogrammed a couple of times so ask for a spare and keep away from your phone/wallet.

I agree that our bed and breakfast rate is fantastic value and available to those that book direct! I think buffets may be a thing of the past now and al a carte is much more hygeinic. That is a great tip about keeping the hotel keys away from mobile phones as it can wipe the programming. Had a wonderful time at the Best Western Olde Maritime. Walking distance to the Main Street of Warrnambool. We stayed in a 2 bedroom, one bathroom apartment. Beds were comfortable and the unit was super clean. Staff went over and beyond to make us happy and there is a lovely Bar at the property for after dinner drinks. Highly recommend.

Raj and his team are extremely helpful, friendly, and courteous. I've rated excellent based on the amazing customer's service. However, the apartment we stayed in could do for an upgrade. The beds, pillows, and sofas are outdated and uncomfortable. Besides that, the location is ver convenient too. It's close to everything. Thanks Raj for your hospitality; we'll definitely be back!

I travel a lot for work and stay in many hotels around Australia and it always puts a smile on my face when I arrive at the Best Western Olde Maritime Motor inn. There is always a friendly greeting when I check in and straight after I'm in the bar for a quick beer. The restaurant food is exceptional and menu is always changing. The rooms are always quiet, clean and spacious. The location is great as it gives me access to the beach with a short walk or the town centre. 10/10!

We booked a Superior Queen room which was very comfortable and quiet with good block-out curtains. It was very clean and freshly renovated. The reception was very welcoming and easy. We would definitely stay there again. The Motel is located close to be the ocean, the main street and Lake Pertobe, very convenient.

The staff at the Best Western Olde Maritime Motor Inn could not have been more accomodating. We were able to book last minute and asked for an early check in, to prepare for a friend's wedding. They had our room prepared first, took our bags and called us the minute the room was ready. They were able to sort out last minute transportation to Terang and were incredibly kind and helpful. I could not recommend the Best Western Olde Maritime Motor Inn enough and look forward to staying there when I am back in Warrnambool.

We booked here after cancelling our trip to sydney. The location is excellent- you can walk to kiosk, town centre, beach, deep blue spa, playground, lake, mini golf. Onsight parking great. Beds very comfortable, rooms very clean, kitchen very functional, ample supplies even down to glad wrap, foil, antibacterial spray n wipe. Foxtel available on tv. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment. Room 40 first night had a nice garden out the front but no bath so Raj moved us very happily to room 43 and that came with a spa! It was really great to have the spa room! Kids were so happy! He even put a Dvd player in upon our request. Will happily stay here next time we are in Warrnambool. Loved it!

Very clean and tidy rooms, friendly staff who were also great with kids. Traditional decor in the room was very fresh looking and bathroom had been recently renovated. Room was still made up during our stay, despite the staff shortages caused by Covid. Great position close to the adventure playground and walking distance all the local restaurants and cafes, even with a 6yo and 2yo. Plenty of parking available and easy to navigate car spaces. Lovely place to stay, we will be back!

The character and charm of this hotel give a lovely warm feel. The staff were helpful at all times given the trying circumstances at the moment. We were made to feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend this accommodation for anyone looking for a comfortable, central place to stay.

Great location, very clean rooms and friendly staff. Love the 'Maritime' title and the sense of history through the area the Hotel looks over. Very central to everything, including the beach, the carnival activities and the township.

This motel is so amazing every time when I stay at the motel the staff is very helpful and lovely there's always happy to help raj is very helpful and every time when I stay he know my name if I don't stay there more then 6 months he knows who I am I really love staying here every things is very close to get to I don't have a car so I have to walk everywhere the motel is close to Warrnambool train station the rooms are clean and large too they have room service too and the shopping centre not too far away from the motel

Booked last minute and stayed one night with my husband on our way to Port Fairy. We stayed in a "modern" room with one queen and one twin bed. EXCELLENT location, extremely clean room (especially the bathroom), and very nice and friendly staff. I want to note too that the staff's helpfulness and positive attitudes we're shining even through some huge COVID staffing challenges in town. As far as a motel goes, this is about as good as it gets. Would certainly stay again!

What a wonderful place to stay! I managed to snatch the very last room, a Heritage room, via a very last minute same-day booking. At the reception, the lovely lady checking me in noticed I was a little rattled and I explained it was quite an eventful afternoon (long story short, we were supposed to stay in Portland for the night but the accommodation there was beyond dirty so we decided to book something else). She (wish I remembered her name!) made me feel really welcome and joked “well we have a lovely clean room for you here!”. She gave me a little bottle of champagne as “I looked like I could use it”. It was such a lovely gesture and so incredibly appreciated. The room was impeccable: incredibly clean, comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom. Can't fault it. Next day's breakfast was also great. The location couldn't be better, right next to Flagstaff Hill and close to all Warrnambool has to offer. Despite the circumstances leading up to the stay here were unfortunate, I'm so glad we ended up at the Olde Maritime and we'll definitely be back!

Third stay in the space of a year - perfectly located within walking distance from the beach and from town. The rooms are big, clean and have VERY comfortable beds. Staff are very friendly. I'll be back soon.

Our second visit and was extremely disappointed being woken at 3.30 in the morning by very noisy neighbours, this continued on the next day as party started about 3oclock, we checked out at 4 and surprised not to have heard from owner, will not return

Nice clean Motor Inn ideally situated in Warrnambool. Rooms are well appointed & generous in size. Raj , the owner is pleasant to all his guests & goes out of his way to make you feel welcome. The Clovelly restaurant was superb with a great choice of meals & wines.

You will get great service and comfortable rooms at this motel. It is situated close to everything Warrnambool has to offer. The restaurant has great food and service or you can relax by the fire at the bar. The owner, Raj is super friendly and will make sure that your stay is enjoyable. I have been going back to this motel once or twice a year for the last 15 years. I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.

I am a marriage celebrant and my daughter a florist. We had business in Timboon the following day and thought it would be good to stay in Warrnambool. I chose this motel because of its vicinity mainly. A lot of inexpensive motels to choose from I thought this would be nicer as well. The first room I had booked was a simple double room that had no microwave in it and the club chairs were very tattered and obvious stains on the carpet. I asked for an upgrade, a bigger room which cost an extra $110... the room was indeed bigger but was not worth the $257.00 I had parted with. 1. Cigarette smoke smell was very very strong. 2. No fly screens on windows so I was unable to keep windows open due to flies and being placed above the rubbish bins. 3. No fan in the single room or heater. 4. Stains on carpet throughout the apartment. 5. Lino had big cuts around the refrigerator. 6. Salt and pepper shakers were sticky with grime. 7. Remote control had something (probably food) stuck to it. 8. No reading lights in lounge room. 9. Only 3 tissues in tissue box. Yes the reception were very friendly but I truly expected a lot better condition to a supposed 4.5 star motel. You really need to clean up you act guys.....I rate you a 3 star at the most.

Great room which was clean and fresh, meals (breakfast and dinner) were delicious, service friendly and timely and bar/lounge area relaxing for a casual drink after. Check in and check out prompt and efficient. Will return again.

The BW Olde Maritime Motel has modern clean rooms and friendly, helpful staff. It is well situated for walking to the shopping area, restaurants, Lake Pertobe and Flagststaff Hill Maritime Village. On-site is a nice restaurant called Clovelly. We have stayed at this motel a couple of times and it is now our preferred motel when we're in Warrnambool. Highly recommended.

I'm currently reading the book 'The Kindness Revolution' so kindness was on my mind I arrived on a Friday. This Best Western has kindness in abundance! They cover everything from offering a pick up from the train station to offering us a quieter spot in the restaurant away from a noisy group. The room was spacious and very clean with a pleasant scent when you enter. It has a recently renovated bathroom with a rain showerhead (which was wonderful), and the bed was very comfortable. We had dinner in the on-site restaurant and the food and service was great. Ebony is a fabulous waitress who attended to our every need. Breakfast was included in our package and we had a beautiful breakfast, once again served by Ebony. We will definitely steady at BW again. A big thumbs up to Raj and his staff.

I would definitely recommend this accommodation in the future. The staff were fantastic, the location was central to everything I needed for my business trip, from the food available through to the amenities.

Quick weekend away without the kids. Rooms were clean and neat and I found the beds really comfy. Large screen TV was welcome. Parking was easy and close to our room. Easy walking to The Flagstaff Hill Village and down to the RSL for tea. Will happily stay here again on future visits.

The Best Western Olde Maritime has always been our go to motel in Warrnambool for both business and pleasure travel. In November we took the opportunity to take 15 of our Victorian accounts to Warrnambool for a catch up after the Melbourne lock down. Originally we had planned to take the group to the Dunkeld Cup, but with the restrictions not allowing crowds, we floated the idea with management of the Best Western Olde Maritime that we would run a horse racing theme event at their on site restaurant, Clovelly. The amount of time, dedication and attention to detail which was performed by the team at the Best Western and Clovelly delivered an event which exceeded all expectations. We had 40 customers attend the event and all have given feedback to us on how fantastic not only the event was, but the quality of food, beautiful presentation of the accommodation and outstanding customer service from the motel and restaurant. We could not be happier with our event and this motel - it really is a hidden gem in regional Victoria.

The level of customer service these guys go to is fantastic. They're so friendly and genuine. The room was spotless. We had breakfast included in our room deal and that was amazing as well. The only downside was the bed was a bit hard but that's also a personal thing. I would definitely go back just for the customer service alone

Very friendly and efficient staff, overseen by the enthusiastic manager, Raj. Room was spacious and very clean, bathroom spotless. Our room was in the wing by Merri St, which can be busy (thus a bit noisy) in daytime, but is quiet at night. Didn't bother us, but if it's an issue, ask for a room in one of the other wings, which would be quieter. The room was attractively laid out, and has a large TV, netflix included (but, unlike the people before us, remember to log out, or following guests can use your account!) Could open a window, which was good for fresh air. It also hosts the Clovelly restaurant & bar, one of Warnambool's best restaurants. Best of all, it's a short walk round the corner to the centre of town, shops, restaurants, cafes, etc, and a very short stroll in the opposite direction to the Flagstaff Hill attraction. Recommended.

Huge room and equally huge TV with a range of streaming options. Decor a bit dated now but spotlessly clean and comfortable furnishings. Great location, close to all amenities. Owner Raj was very pleasant to deal with. Will definitely be staying again if in Warnambool.

Beautiful spotless comfortable and well appointed rooms. We had dinner and breakfasts in the dining rooms which was excellent. Raj was very accommodating as we were a group of 13. Highly recommend. Hard to find a hotel that's run this well

Raj and his partner made our motorbike riding group very welcome. Even down to bags of rags to wipe out bikes down after a long ride. The breakfast was very nice and was well organized. Management like this is rare in this day and age. I highly recommend a stay here

It is a nice place and close to everything. The manager (Raj) was accomodating and very helpful. Also, Courtney was helpful. All the staff were nice. Booking flexibility given COVID situation was a big plus. Room is cosy, clean and comfortable. Highly recommend the place.

We had a great time Raj and his staff really looked after us. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was spotless clean and comfortable. We dined in their Restaurant and the food was very yummy, cooked just how we asked, even the room service breakfast. Well done Raji, thanks Lynda and John.

The service was perfect , Raj was very patient and accommodating ! nothing was too much trouble when you had a question to ask . The room was spacious ,clean and comfortable. Clean, friendly, terrific! I enjoyed the window seat a lot! The layout was really appropriate. Nice and quiet. Birdlife visible through the window. Not far from the water. Great brekkie! Promptly delivered and checked afterwards.

This hotel is amazing, the man behind the counter Raj was impeccable. They checked on our stay and comfort 20 mins into our arrival. We will definitely be staying here again and highly recommend. Room service was great, the food was amazing and reasonably priced.

Great place to stay when visiting Warrnambool. Rooms are clean and inviting, when I arrived the lights where on an heating turned on ready. TV's are all just updated to new smart TV's. Raj goes above and beyond, always friendly when greating you when arriving. I stayed on a Sunday night as the restaurant was closed I have dinner delivered. I didn't receive any cutlery with the takeaway so I called reception to see if I could borrow some. Raj answered and said he would bring me some he would just be a few minutes as he had just got home. I told him not to worry about it, about quarter of the way through eating my curry with a teaspoon, Raj knocks on my door. Clean room, great service, and great meals from the restaurant.

All the staff were exceptional. The motel has been updated since our last stay here 10 years ago. The rooms are clean, modern and well appointed. The meals we had for dinner and breakfast in the restaurant were very good. Motel is conveniently located within walking distance of the beach and main shopping/dining precinct.

We had a wonderful experience The accomodation was excellent and breakfast was delicious We would recommend this accomodation to anyone visiting Warrnambool Raj and staff are very helpful and go an extra mile to make your stay special

What a fantastic place to stay! Large family room with beautifully renovated and modern bathroom. I especially liked the real milk option for our tea! Lovely quiet room and in a fantastic central location. Easy to get to and a short stroll to the centre of town.

I have stayed at Best Western Olde Maritime twice now - I love it how the staff greet me by my name when I arrive or query at reception or sit for a meal in the restaurant. Rooms a clean and well maintained. Restaurant food is very good. My only complaint - the parking spot for my room was too short for my Nissan Navara.

We have stayed at The Olde Maritime Motor Inn a number of times and we will keep returning as the staff are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are always clean and well kept. A big plus is having The Clovelly restaurant as part of the complex allowing you to eat at the restaurant or have room service. The main street is also in easy walking distance.

The Olde Maritime Motor Inn in Warrnambool is the best. My friend and I love staying there as the owner and staff are lovely people. They always make us feel very welcome and comfortable. It is a great location as well.

We have stayed here a number of times in the past and keep coming back, its in a great location, we have always had great friendly service, large, neat, well presented comfortable rooms, excellent value and good sized breakfast in the restaurant too! We will be back again...

Fantastic personalised service during Covid. Nothing too much trouble. Perfect location for walks on the beach. The food was absolutely beautiful, and came steaming hot. Breakfast also good, delivered to the door. The rooms were comfy, clean and the bathrooms have been updated.

Room was neat and clean. Bed very comfortable. Staff very friendly & courteous. Ample off road secure car parking. Great location, we had an ocean view from our Spa room. We would recommend this motel for couples wanting a perfect getaway.

What a fabulous motel!! I had originally messed up my booking which was very efficiently corrected by a staff member to the correct date without any fuss. We arrived to an upgraded Heritage Queen room which we found to be lovely. Located in the old Light Keepers home it had a certain charm, not to forget the gorgeous fireplace although not functioning added to the authenticity of the home. Everything we needed was supplied and the bedding, bed guaranteed a good nights sleep. We enjoyed pre dinner drinks in their bar by the cosy fire where the friendly staff came to the fore, most stopping for a chat which we found delightful. Dinner in the Clovelly restaurant was fabulous and once again service was attentive and friendly. I just want to single out one staff member although all staff we met were wonderful; Courtney who was responsible not only in fixing my booking blooper and our subsequent upgrade but was just so friendly and vivacious making sure each guest was looked after. Would thoroughly recommend this motel to everybody who will be assured a fantastically comfortable environment. Well done !!

Great location and nice rooms. Bed was comfy and the room was warm. Breakfast was really nice too. Very close to the main shopping street and to the Flagstaff Hill Maritime precinct. The staff were all really friendly and helpful too.

My group had four rooms. Without doubt the rooms were comfortable and well appointed. Staff were very friendly, approachable and made our stay very enjoyable. The bar and dining facilities were warm and inviting. A cosy open fire adds to this charm. Dinner and service was equally of a high standard. We were on business but i will return with my partner. The motel is conveniently located to the Flagstaff Maritime museum and a short distance from the town centre.

Had a brief one night stay of the supposed two-night stay that I initially booked in for due to Victoria's snap lockdown. Raj the hotel owner/manager was very friendly, professional, helpful. The place is oldish but very nice. Everything is clean and tidy. We stayed in a Deluxe Spa room. The room was spacious, the bathroom was spacious. We had a massive flat-screen TV and a dual-controller electric blanket for our bed. The location is great, literally just across the road from the beach and the lake. In saying that, there is not much view from our window though, we're on the 1st level and you can only see the road. All in all, it was a really good short stay, will definitely consider staying here again should we be back in Warrnambool :).

Next time you stay book a Deluxe Spa on the third floor of our Lighthouse building. The cathedral ceilings are beautiful and you get a much better view if you do not mind stairs! Enjoyed a recent overnight stay at this motel which provides comfort and modern amenities. The room, queen deluxe, and bathroom are very clean with a reverse cycle air conditioner and quality fittings. The rooms are an adequate size without being either cramped or overly spacious. Free parking is on-site outside your room. The on site licensed restaurant, 'Clovelly' , is worth a visit offering gourmet dinner and very attentive service. The wine list is interesting. Breakfast is also served in the restaurant and servings are generous and reasonably priced. Breakfast is a la carte so you pay for what you order rather than a set charge. I highly recommend this motel and restaurant.

The hotel is really nice and the food at the restaurant is absolutely superb. Staff were very nice and friendly. They were also very nice to upgrade us to a spa room. The location is also very good, with ample parking, and within walking distance to shops, parks and the beautiful bay. We're so glad we made the choice to head to Warrnambool, it was a much needed get away and was a wonderful change from the stresses of Melbourne. Good customer service, comfortable and clean room with all the amenities, friendly service and excellent food in the restaurant. Can recommend this Inn and we will be back when next we visit Warrnambool.

Raj and his staff always provide an oasis from the daily demands of business travel. The rooms are super clean and comfortable and the bar and restaurant offer a superb to any long day. The location close enough but far enough away from the city centre and only a short walk to the beach.

Had a lovely weekend away in the deluxe spa room, which was beautiful, clean and quiet. Spa bath was a real treat and great size. Staff were so friendly and made us feel very comfortable. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay here again!

A spontaneous decision to bring my daughter away for her 18th and a yr 12 break found us staying here for 2 nights. A comfortable and cosy stay in a spotlessly clean room. Walking distance to beaches, town, cafes and a number of Warrnambool's attractions. We also enjoyed a pre-ordered, most delicious, room service meal from the restaurant, when we returned after the restaurant had closed. Staff particularly friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

The rooms are very neat and clean, and it's nice to have some Foxtel channels on your tv as well. It's a good area too, its very close to lots of great areas in Warnambool. Overall it was pretty good.

From when we arrived until we checked out the staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was spotless clean and it made us feel better under the current situation. It was a 6.5 hour drive for us, and when we asked if we were able to get a drink they were only too happy to serve us from the bar attached to the Restaurant where we had booked for Dinner. The Manager was very friendly, nothing was of to much trouble for him. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

I chose this motor inn because it was close to the beach and the historic sites. Check-in was fast, efficient, and friendly. The rooms were comfortable, warm, and most importantly, they were quiet. The motel also has a welcoming bar with deep leather couches and friendly staff. Well worth checking out on your next visit.

Friendly manager, super clean, warm spacious room. Definitely stay again if in the area. Close to shops and beach walks. Stayed in the lighthouse wing with sea views and spa bath. 2 flights of stairs.

Check in was a breeze, extremely friendly and helpful hosts, the room itself had olde worlde charm, a very beautiful room on the top floor, the bed was very cosy and comfortable. Close to the beach and city. We had drinks in the bar and they had the fire on so it was great to sit at the window and just enjoying the view. I want to add that I requested this room as I saw it on the website and wanted this room because I was having a Romantic weekend away and felt this room fitted what I wanted and I was definitely not disappointed at all. Highly recommend.

From reception to check out the staff went out of their way to make our 3 days a real holiday. We have never been offered a hand to carry our luggage from the car to the room before and this was the first of many incidents where the staff went that extra step to please us.Housekeeping,great girls,Dining Room and kitchen staff were excellent in all that they did.When we requested a meal not on the menu for the next two evenings it took only a few minutes for the Chef to organize and we were delighted at the resulting meals. From my wife and I,a great "well done" to all at Olde Maritime Warrnambool Definitely be back. Thanks to you all.

We found The Olde Maritime Motel very clean and the Spa Suite was very spacious. We ate in the restaurant and can highly recommend the delicious meals we ate and the owners and staff were absolutely delightful and friendly. I give my stay 10 /10 We will be back !

We had a wonderful stay for our 5th Anniversary. We stayed in a Heritage Room which was lovely and clean and eventhough it did front Merri Street thanks to the roadworks at the roundabout there was no through traffic so it was lovely and quiet. If you like quiet though, requesting a room away from there would normally be a good idea. The meal on Friday night was lovely and the staff were lovely and attentive. Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday was just to our liking and thankyou to Courtney for her lovely banter. Was nice to be welcomed and called "the Happy People". We would gladly stay again.

We were in Warrnambool recently for a family wedding. We chose the Maritime for its location across the road from Flagstaff Hill where the ceremony was held and on recommendation from family in the area. We chose a spa room in the older part of the Inn. The room was lovely and big, providing plenty of room for us to get ready. We ordered breakfast and it was delivered to our room which was super convenient. My only suggestion would be to swap out the double bed for a king sized bed. That would make the room and stay truly comfortable. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay room was lovely, no road noise, staff helpful and went above and beyond very attentive, delicious breakfast will definitely book again on our next trip. It was explained prior to when we arrived in regards to road work outside motel and explained to enter via another entrance. Staff very attentive and helpful and we liked our room very much

The staff made everything so easy- checking in, room service and even offering late check out for us. The bed was so comfortable and the shower was gorgeous. The location was really convenient for restaurants, the theatre and the beach are all close by.

We spent 4 nights here for the May Racing Carnival & we cannot fault a thing. Exceptionally clean & daily serviced with fresh towels, etc. Very comfortable beds & lounge/dining. The kitchen - laundry - bathroom - fully equipped with everything you need. Within walking distance to the town & many other tourist attractions. The Restaurant offers beautiful meals & the bar has all you need for that relaxing drink & chat. All the staff are very friendly & capable in their roles and owners Raj & Bronwyn are the "icing on the cake" - with their warm & welcoming hospitality prowess. Four of us stayed in a two bedroom apartment during the May race carnival. Lovely accommodation. Spotlessly clean rooms. Very comfortable with everything you need. Great beds, pillows & linen. Location is very central, an easy walk into town or to the beach. All the staff are very friendly including the owners Raj and Bronwen. Nothing is too much trouble. Very warm and cosy bar to enjoy an after race drink. The food at the onsite restaurant- Clovelly - is also great with a good local wine list. Can't wait to come back next year

The 2 bedroom family apartment was actually a full size, stand alone unit. Great layout, modern decor and appliances. The beds were soooo comfy! Awesome location perfectly positioned between town & shopping and the park/beach precinct. Would definitely stay again.

We spent 5 nights at this Motor Inn. We booked the Deluxe spa suite in the Lighthouse section. It was very comfortable and quiet, The room was a good size. We did not have a problem but you do have to go up 3 flights of stairs. We found the top floor very nice and homely.

The Room was comfortable, spacious & clean. Staff are always friendly and accommodating. Have stayed in a variety of rooms here over the years, all have been nice. Only a minute from the main street and easy access to the park and water.

Excellent staff at reception on seeing we were aged, changed our room to a ground floor room. Room was very spacious, tidy & comfortable. Easy parking outside to the entrance to our room. Would recommend

What a gem of a place to stay whilst in Warrnambool. Motel style accommodation with varying room types. We had a deluxe spa room and it was clean, large and spacious. Liked the added bonus of some Foxtel channels. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and we received outstanding customer service from the front desk and from the server at breakky. I forgot your names sorry!! Our bed was a tad too firm for what we are used to but it did not detract from the stay. We had a weekend away and encountered friendly and hospitable people/staff everywhere we went. Great spot for a getaway and we will definitely be back to both this motel and the area again soon.

Stayed here when visiting properties in the area - easy to find and close to all amenities. Walking distance to cafes, restaurants and shops. Bedroom was clean and well equipped. Restaurant and bar added bonus with good breakfast. Plenty of parking

A great place to stay for our weekend away with very friendly staff and great amenities. The venue is convenient, close to shops, playground and beach. Highly recommend the Flagstaff museum across the road.

A great place to stay! Raj and the staff couldn't have been more pleasant or accommodating. A very comfortable night after a great meal with extended family in the adjoining Clovely restaurant. Will definitely stay there again!

We had a very enjoyable time and found the hotel central to Flagstaff Hill, shops and driving to other places of interest. The owner and the staff were very friendly and nothing was a trouble. We stayed in the Heritage Site Rooms which were comfortable but not upmarket which was to be expected. Breakfast was included a wide variety but did not include tea or coffee in the package which was unexpected. Certainly would recommend this hotel.

The motel is very clean and comfortable and the staff extremely friendly and polite, our only annoyance was that we booked our accommodation to include breakfast - however we found that we had to pay for tea and coffee - this was not explained at the time of booking and we would have thought that it would be a natural inclusion with breakfast. We would recommend this place to anyone and would go back again, but I would be smarter next time and question the extra cost of tea and coffee with breakfast.

This was our third stayed with Best Western Olde Maritime Inn. I've not look for other accommodation in Warrnambool since our first time with Olde Maritime. Room was clean, comfortable, relaxing. Great and convenient location. Clovelly Restaurant on site was great. Raj and his team are very friendly and helpful.

A last minute booking for a camping traveller to get out of the rain and cold. The manager was very personable. Hotel room spacious, the bed and pillows perfect. The room was spotless, from crisp white sheets right through to the fan cover in the bathroom ceiling. Thank you.

Please note my rating is 4.5 - but TripAdvisor does not give you the option to do this. The Best Western Olde Maritime Motor Inn is under the direction of the formidable and bubbly Raj and knowledgable Brownyn - who always check in to see how you are, even when dining - lovely personalised treatment. I can rarely write that ALL the staff I encounter are friendly, obliging and full of local tips and hints - but they are here!!! A shout out to Emma, Max, Georgia and Ebony - your enthusiasm is an asset to the BWOMMI. Housekeeping - their attention to the little things reminded me of a time where staff left notes and goodies in the rooms welcoming guests. Easter eggs, a bunny peg and a note - made for an extra special arrival. Their job is so much harder due to COVID cleaning regulations - so make sure to thank them. The motor inn is centrally located to the shopping district and tourist attractions. I strongly recommend having a car/bike to reach the tourist areas, or take a leisurely walk into town, if able. There is a selection of basic rooms, leading to small apartments, no set carpark space, and shared with locals who dine at the restaurant. My accommodation [Room 10] was a basic room, easily enough for a couple or one. The Bed/Sleeping Quality -.5 A queen with industrial-strength sheets, separated by a woollen blanket and sturdy pillows - enough to keep you quite warm on colder nights. The mattress's right side clearly had been slept in the most, so the left was my choice. If you are a light sleeper, the soundproofing isn't the best, and people coming and going from the carpark can make it difficult to stay asleep. Australia is known for a vast array of insects, so spraying your room once you arrive is recommended as a precaution [NOTE: I do that everywhere I go] - they have a spray in the cupboard if you don't have your own. The Bathroom: Had been newly renovated with a shower, toilet and basin. It is classy and minimalistic - many of the usual amenities are found in the draws, leaving you space for your items - perfect set up. The water pressure is great, water is drinkable, and the aircon works well to quickly heat/cool the small space. Other Amenities: The fridge is big enough to house a few of your items [for example, long-life milk, small tubs of fruit and cans of fish], and there is a small freezer too - great for travel ice packs. The usual TV, tea and coffee making items, iron, board, spare bedding were there. A small table and two chairs were enough for a workbench or place to sit and have a tea/snack. There is plenty of room to store cases etc., around the room or in the cupboard. Gym/Laundry services: I wasn't aware of the gym being operational at this time, so you would need to check. The laundry service with dryers run on a token system - 1 token = 30minutes. A bag of washing powder is $4, and I am still using some of it weeks later. They also have a place to store bikes. The Clovelly Restaurant: This has had a bit of a facelift during the lockdown and is well set out for patrons to be socially distanced. The new menu, launched recently, gives you abundant choices that cater to different palates and dietary needs. [More about the food in another review]. They have breakfast service, and all menu items can also be ordered as room service. Be sure to check out their daily specials too. I will also mention the extremely talented Chefs Johnny and Bryce plus their apprentice Mario - your attention to detail and willingness to listen to feedback is commendable and appreciated. The new menu, IMHO, is a taste sensation. Next to the restaurant is the bar and a social area - great to do some work, read, or drink with mates. Their wifi is free, reliable and fast. Perfect for families and young couples, overnight stays or a beach getaway. This place is proof that positive hospitality and interaction goes a long way to impress the guests - thank you.

Clean, comfortable and spacious rooms. Motel was close to beach with plenty of parking. Had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant and both meals exceeded our expectations. Raj and his team were very accommodating and friendly. Everyone was eager to help and always had a smile on their face.

Due to a vehicle breakdown overnight accommodation was required which finished up lasting 3 nights. The rooms are spacious and are serviced daily. The staff were excellent in their assistance to us for the entire stay. A full cooked breakfast was able to be included at a very reasonable cost. A great location with ample parking for all guests.

They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early (book direct). We got to BW one hour early and we didn't wanna wait. So this was a big plus. The service was exceptional as well. Amazing place great location awesome hosts and friendly staff, Would definitely send a friend there. .. you cant go wrong!!!

Stayed in Heritage room 22 which consisted of large bedroom, spacious modern bathroom and sitting room with table for two by a fireplace (no fire), jug, toaster and fridge. Tea, coffee, decaf and biscuits supplied and fresh milk on arrival. Bed was really comfortable and rooms very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Ate in the restaurant with friends and we were all very pleased with our excellent meals. Walking distance to main street and literally across the road from the Flagstaff Hill Maritime Village. Felt very safe as a solo traveler. Will definitely stay here on my next visit to Warrnambool

We have stayed here on several occasions and it has never disappointed us , the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are well maintained and very clean. The breakfasts we had as part of the package were excellent .

This is a very quiet motel with large comfortable rooms. Restaurant was closed but we had a drink in the lovely bar area. The motel was close walking distance to the local RSL club where we had a meal. Would stay here again.

The manager and receptionist welcomed us warmly and advised us of the services they provide. All of the staff members we came into contact with were friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious very well appointed with TV, very good wifi, microwave oven coffee tea and milk. The extra large double bed was comfortable and remade daily. The property is well situated directly opposite the ocean and is a short walking distance from shops and restaurants. We found all aspects of the property excellent and we will certainly return in the future.

We felt very welcome at the Olde Maratime and I would have to say that it was one of the best stays in a hotel I have ever experienced. The whole building was lovely and clean and tastefully decorated. Staff were welcoming and friendly and made us feel at home.

Well, we have been to the Olde Maritime Inn once before it was a great place to base our trips around we liked it so much we went back this time and Raj has still got the best place to stay in Warrnambool very clean and staff very helpful and that makes it a great holiday destination when you have no problems with where you are staying, takes a lot of stress of your vacation.

Aesthetically historic beauty, well located within walking distance to the beach and everything else and welcomed by wonderful staff. Lovely clean, spacious rooms, great food in the restaurant and very pleasant atmosphere. What more can you ask for?!

Best hotel for a affordable price in warrnambool. Free wifi, early check-in and late check-out. Clean and tidy large room. staff was amazing. only drawback is the Shower room which is bit tiny. Apart from that everything else was perfect. Would love to go back again. Highly recommended !!

This is my preferred motel in Warrnambool (after having tried a couple others). While the decor is a bit old-fashioned, it was clean and very comfortable and spacious too. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

We have stayed here on several occasions now and would not bother going anywhere else. The staff are most welcoming and service is excellent. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. RSL is in walking distance or the dining room has excellent meals for your enjoyment.

My wife and I stayed only 1 night on our way along the great ocean road whilst visiting from Qld. We had a great experience thanks to staff who were all fantastic. The room was clean modern and spacious, whilst the position of the motel is perfect and central. Nothing was a problem for the staff and we even received 3 different morning newspapers on the morning of departure. Breakfast delivered to our room was also fantastic. Congratulations to Management and staff, you deserve 10/10. We will try to get back soon!

Due to back surgery I have now a condition called drop foot in my left leg . Which means I need some space for showering and the toilet . This Motor in offers great service with friendly helpful staff . The down side is it does not offer disabled options . I would recommend this establishment if you are able bodied and not on the large size .

Comfortable clean rooms, handy location. Car park was full so a bit of a squeeze to park but nice and quite for the time we stayed. Lovely area to walk around and friendly staff. Décor a bit tired but otherwise fine.

Spacious, well laid out room, with all amenities provided. Room decor was charming with everything clean to a very good standard. Staff at reception are very efficient, friendly and helpful. The motel is located across from the Maritime museum. It is also a short, pleasant walk to the main shops and restaurants. Very good value for money and would definitely choose to stay here again if visiting Warrnambool. Disliked · Nothing not to like. If being really picky the only thing is that the bathroom could do with a little bit of updating.

Arrived and was checked in by Raj who was very welcoming. The room was very clean and comfortable which was much appreciated in these times. The bed was comfortable which is also great when away from home. All the staff were very friendly and helpful which is refreshing compared to some of the places we have stayed over the years. Breakfast was very tasty and filling. Ate dinner there on the Saturday night which was well worth staying in for. Thank you for your great hospitality and comfortable stay. Would recommend to stay and would go back.

Booked in on Monday afternoon and was greeted with a smile well under her mask I guess there was one. I found the room to be well cleaned and well appointed. I booked for dinner and found the food and choices well done, along with a good wine list.

We stayed in one of the lighthouse suites for the weekend. The room was beautiful, staff were very pleasant and helpful. Ate a few meals at the Clovelly restaurant which were all delicious and again fabulous service. Highly recommended.

Hotel rooms a little dated but clean and comfortable. The staff are some of the very best I have ever met in my travels, nothing was too much trouble. Bar and Restaurnt excellent. Great Stay. Would highly recommend

We booked premium Queen room, this was lovely and clean. The bed was really comfortable, loved that there was USB power point as I'd forgotten to pack the plug! Great location, easy to walk to town and beach.

2 bedroom apartment was perfect for our family stay, immaculately clean with everything you could need. Staff were beyond polite and accommodating including housekeeping staff, nothing was to much trouble. It's the best location, we walked everywhere and the park is right across the road for the kids. Would 100% recommend to stay here!

Great location, no noise at night, great bathroom and comfortable bed. Restuarnt choice was perfect and good wine list. Very close to awesome walks in several directions especiall teh sand dunes walk to teh Hopkins River and abck early in teh morning. After a busy few days seeing customers the restuarant and bar were a nice oasis.

We recently stayed for 5 days in a Family apartment. I booked it late so wasn't expecting much, but the apartment exceeded my expectations. The apartment had everything we needed & was very clean & perfect for our stay. Having a kitchen with everything was perfect for a family stay. The location is right in the centre of town, walking distance to everything. The service at the hotel was excellent. We had a wonderful stay & would definitely recommend this accomodation to anyone.

It was a great place to stay. We had 2 rooms, my parents were in the Spa room upstairs (highly recommend them), very clean and the staff very friendly and pleasant. The Clovely Restaurant has amazing food. Need to try their Sticky Date Pudding. Conveniently located, highly recommend.

Great size room with a comfortable bed. Room was quiet considering the amount of street traffic. Restaurant food was amazing, as was both room service and in restaurant breakfast. Staff were very friendly and service was excellent. Check in/out very fast and efficient. Highly recommend for families, couples or singles. We will definitely stay there again!

We were fortunate enough to secure a booking at the Old Maritime, the opportunity of a stay enabled our family to completely relax. Being located close to town and the foreshore meant we were able to enjoy the local fooderies and the beach all within walking distance. Our accommodation was clean, the staff as is typical of regional locations...very friendly. Can highly recommend

Located in a great part of town within walking distance of open spaces and the shoreline, the rooms were well appointed for our 5 day stay. The rooms themselves have been well maintained, with clean modern bathrooms, though an extra chair for 2 would have been handy. The restaurant provided good options for breakfast and dinner. Service during meals was quick and efficient, even in busier times. The staff were always available and very helpful when needed, and a nice touch that they remembered previous orders and made you feel like they knew you well. Would be happy to stay again

This is a perfect spot for a short stay. I stayed a week. Rooms big enough have main essentials. Shower, bathroom modern. Rooms very clean and serviced professionally. Breakfast has varied menu. All staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Would stay again.

This was my third stay at this wonderful property. As I was travelling with two others, I opted for the two bedroom apartment which turned out to be a fully appointed cottage. Fabulous! My absolute go to in Warrnambool. Congratulations to Raj and crew!

It was the biggest disappointment for me and my wife. Everything was very old except bathroom. Aircon was very old and damaged, fridge had a terrible smell, bed was uncomfortable. Service was great but it didn't change general mood after we saw the room.

Hello 401ilyal, We thank you for addressing these concerns with us. Currently we are replacing the carpet in the room you stayed in and are waiting for parts to arrive to fix the aircon. Housekeeping have been asked to limit the use of vanilla fridge cleaner which was not to your liking. I have also had a look at the bed in that room and will replace the mattress when I can. We hope to have the chance to deliver a better service to you and your wife if you should come to Warrnambool again.

The room was well presented and clean. The carpet was frayed on one join. We found the bathroom although modern very small and felt cramped when in there. Foxtel is included free of charge but would be better with sports channels instead of the footy channel out of season

The location of the inn was fantastic! In the middle of Warrnambool and close by to shops and attractions. The inn itself was perfectly sized for my friend and I. The bed was comfy, the room was spotless, the Tv was big and the shower pressure was pleasantly strong.

You cannot get any better with this location staying at BW Olde Maritime Motor Inn. It's at the doorstep of family friendly Lake Pertobe, the beach, motorboats, minigolf, bike paths and more! Within walking distance to fish n chips, bowling/arcade centre and the main strip of Liebig St where all the supermarkets, shops, dept. stores and restaurants are located! Washer/Dryer facilities were handy to have for longer stays and they have a small gym equipped with shower and toilet for the fitness fanatics! Rooms were also serviced daily. We were treated like "Kings" with their service, hospitality, professionalism and the feeling of being a valued guest. Special thanks to Courtney, Emma and the lady with the glasses from Tasmania who took our breakfast order during our stay who made us feel very comfortable, took the time to chat with us and entertained our son Jayden during our stay. Btw, the breakfast we had was exceptional! Thankyou also to Raj the owner for the complimentary baby chino which our son also enjoyed. It's service like this which makes for a wonderful holiday experience. Wished we could've stayed longer and we will definitely come back!

Courtney was an absolute pleasure to deal with. She was extremely helpful & fulfilled all my requests without hesitation on a short notice booking. I requested a downstairs room, with a spa, toaster & microwave. Courtney also was very obliging & prompt to bring some plates, bowls & cutlery to my room when I requested. The room itself was very clean, quite spacious & in a nice quiet downstairs corner with a rear small garden area. There was a nice corner spa & a good size TV. It was a shame that there wasn't a king size bed in the room. In my personal opinion I found the bed to be a little bit to firm for my liking. It would be nicer if there was a pillow/comfort/memory-foam style topper/overlay option available to put on the mattress.

An easy stay with a young family. Beds were very comfortable and the staff were very helpful. We enjoyed the big bath & self contained unit to live comfortably as if we were still home. Very clean and well maintained. Thank you again Raj for making an easy holiday season for us from South Australia.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay. Great location and close to everything! Our room was very spacious and clean with a nice view outside. Excellent customer service, so friendly and welcoming. Will definitely come again!

All in all everything was just terrific. Location Pricing Bathroom Staff was the Cherry on top of everything else. Smiling faces all around. Although premium twin room was good but I feel that I should've gone for king room for more luxury. But then again, the price point completely justified the premium twin room.

Very good overall experience but should cater better for people self-catering for breakfast by providing bowls and spoons in addition to the toaster, plate and knife. I now need to fill up with extra typing to meet the ridiculous requirement for at least 200 characters for ths review.

Nice room and great location, really nice food and very friendly staff. They went out of their way to acknowledge my partner's birthday, and provided great advice for checking out local attractions and wineries.

My wife and I recently spent two nights at Olde Maritime in Warrnambool and we were delighted with every aspect of that stay. The room and facilities were fastidiously clean, including the quite powerful spa tub. A special call out to our wonderful host, Raj, and his unfailing ability to do those so many seemingly small things that really matter. Use his office for a quick work task? No problems at all mate. Have some more fresh juice and coffee with that amazing cooked breakfast? Have at it. And anything nearby? Try Flagstaff Hill (museum and century village) literally right across the road, arguably Warrnambool's most incredible attraction. As well, a brisk five minute walk had us in the heart of the CBD. We will soon be visiting Raj and his wonderful inn again hopefully early next year.

Stayed overnight for a business trip. Apartment was wonderful. The whole complex had been repainted and refurbished. Staff were so friendly. Beachside and close to everything. Restaurant was a great atmosphere and very nice meals with a range of options. The staff (ALL) were exceptional and made us feel very welcome. Highly affordable. We only stayed for one night for business travel, but the Apartment would definitely be something we would use for family or extended stay in such a beautiful town and coastal region.

We had a great few days at the Best Western Olde Maritime in Warrnambool. Staff and owner were very friendly and helpful. Restaurant also had very delicious food and a very good sticky date pudding:-) Overall a great accommodation, great location to a walking distance playground ( in case you have kids) and we would go again.

Enjoyed our stay, just one night but the room was very comfortable, great bathroom with a really good shower, lovely staff and an excellent breakfast. Appreciated the very flexible booking arrangements and the upgrade to a premium room. Will definitely be returning!

Even small rooms (i.e. standard) are well appointed; the park close by and locations near everything you want to see or drive to in Warrnambool and surrounds. Deborah and Raj make you feel like on e of the their family. Restaurant is superb.

Our 4 night stay at this beautiful, charming Motor Inn was delightful. It was clean, comfortable, convenient, safe and with easy access to everything. Nothing was difficult or hard for the staff and management. The breakfasts was sumptuous and generous. The menu at their Restaurant well priced and the food delicious. I highly recommend this place.

The room was visually very nice and clean but functionally was pretty mediocre. I had quite a sore neck from the bed and pillows, both are quite soft and unsupportive. Bathroom is very small, kept hitting elbows on the wall/shower door whilst getting dressed. Mini fridge was terrible, on the coldest setting it was barely cooling my water and everything melted in the freezer. The door needed better sound proofing. A group of men decided to drink and smoke outside my room until midnight and I could hear every word and smell their cigarettes. The breakfast was nice but expensive. Receptionists didn't wear masks. It was a nice location though, 10min walk to beach and 5 mins to town centre which is handy cause everywhere is pay parking. Overall I probably wouldn't stay there again but it was nice enough for a few nights.

Stayed for 3 nights for leisure. Clean, tidy and generous room and fantastic price. Very simple online booking. Perfect greeting at the front desk on check-in. Super simple check-out. Good quality restaurant (used for dinner) attached with attentive staff and great food. Walking distance to Warrnambool CBD, parks and beach.

The people are absolutely lovely. They went out of their way to help us when I messed up our original booking. The room was very clean. They made us feel super welcome and the breakfast was delicious.

I had the best service at this motel it's about 700 metres from warrnambool train station you have the information centre across the road there a park down the road if you walk little farther there a takeaway food shop there tables in the park at the motel they have a restaurant you have dinner and breakfast they have great rooms I can't wait to stay at the motel again great staff to help their very happy to help

I stayed here for 1 night for work and i was impressed by the staff upon arrival and leaving and also the staff in the bar/restaurant great welcome feeling and the rooms were very clean and nice i give 5 stars

I have never been able to say this before and it is that we had the best ever room and a view to die for as for breakfast couldn't wait to eat it, in fact, all the staff are helpful and pleasent.we will be back

Restaurant just recently reopened. Excellent food and wine. Because of seating limits you can get room service for dinner and breakfast at no extra charge. Our spa room was very comfortable but quite dark as it was below street level.

Highly recommend staying here, I stayed for two weeks for work. The rooms are quite nice, the restaurant is lovely. Delicious food, especially the breakfasts and the service is amazing, nothing was too much trouble.

Lovely motel with charming owner Raj. A very modern room with comfortable bed. Location excellent within walking distance to shops, beach and Lake Pertobe Playground. We celebrated a 70th birthday in the Clovelly Restaurant belonging to the motel. Superb food, superb service and a brilliant Surf and Turf Steak, highly recommend. Thank you Raj for a super stay and night.

Staff were very friendly and courteous. Restaurant Menu was limited as was breakfast especially for a vegan but would book for a return visit despite this. Car parks were not allocated by room number and parking was very tight.

Lovely staff, great location where it's quiet but still close to town, clean room and both the restaurant and room service were delicious. I've stayed here a few times and wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

This was our 10th stay at olde maritimeand again we were not disappointed. The room was very comfortable, service was excellent and breakfast brought to our room each morning was very enjoyable. Compliments to Raj, Brown and staff. We will be back in February.

Room up to their usual standard. Room well set up for sleeping. Breakfast rates high as usual. Will recommend this accommodation to any one considering a trip to Warrnambool. Close to main street shopping.

We just had 2 nights here and enjoyed every minute of our stay. Raj , Bronwyn and staff could not have been more helpful. The room we had was very clean and comfortable. We were very excited to be able to get away in these covid times. The location is perfect as it is a short walk to main shopping area and dining. They do not open their restaurant on Sunday nights but book a restaurant for us a short walk away which didnt disappoint. Next night we ate dinner in the motel dining room, nothing could be faulted from the cold beer to start, then a fantastic meal & wine. We will be back just to go to the restaurant.

We stayed here years ago and remember a very comfortable, clean and perfectly positioned hotel. It is still all these things and more. Raj Patel ensures excellent service and a super comfortable stay. Our adult daughters and my husband and I had two very lovely rooms side by side, with modern recently renovated bathrooms complete with rain showers. We enjoyed a delicious room service dinner, a perfect solution to the challenges of getting restaurant bookings during COVID restrictions. The room service was prompt, fresh and hot. Seafood lovers are well catered for and I hope in future there may be more substantial vegetarian options. We would recommend booking this hotel direct and booking a table near the open fire in the restaurant.

Fantastic location and views. We stayed in an older room but still very spacious and clean. Beds comfortable and nice pillows/linen. Great friendly service, we were rung and offered an earlier check-in. Highly recommend booking at the restaurant, food is amazing for the cost and would not be out of place in a capital city.

We stayed as a family group of four. The location is perfect, central and easy access to everything. The room was spacious and lovely with comfortable beds, table and chairs and still room to move around. I was grateful for the table and chairs and the cutlery / crockery you have in the room. The room was clean and the entire place neat and tidy. We could see the ocean from our window which was an unexpected bonus.

You could be forgiven to think that all Best Westerns are the same. But the differentiator with any form of hospitality is service and being made to feel at home. The Best Western Olde Maritime has both these vital ingredients in abundance. From the time we rang to make a short notice reservation through to the prompt email we received with our copy of the invoice, Courtney looked after us superbly. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent with great local produce. Breakfast in our spacious and warm room was prompt and delicious. Thanks team great stay.

Booked to stay for a quick overnight to see if we could catch some whales in Warrnambool (we didn't!) Arriving at the hotel, we entered via an automatic door; great, no contact required, reception had paper copies of everything required and a hospital type room service breakfast menu was available for us to take away and complete. Very simple and easy! Sign posts everywhere displaying how many people can be in each area. Room was a little cold, heated blankets on the bed were there but didn't work, no great issue as wasn't there long. Air con unit blew heat through no problem. Table and chairs for eating in room, although no sanitizer in room there was hand wash lotion, just as good. Had drinks in the bar, served at our table, from a distance and again, given a paper menu. Watched staff wipe down tables and chairs after each person left, not just briefly but really well. Good effort team! Great breakfast, good value, good stay in difficult times, will be back!

We spent a lovely night in Warrnambool at the Olde Maritime Motor In. Booked direct after much research, based on location and reviews read on Trip Advisor. Booked a queen room in the original building. Booking was easy and efficient. Check in great, quick , friendly and less than five minutes. Room was great, large and well appointed. Great bed , comfy pillows and excellent bathroom. Location is a plus for this place really easy walk into town and easy walk to Lake Petrobe. Very quiet so had a great nights sleep. Would return the staff excellent and truly well priced.

Clean, warm room. Great location. Comfortable beds. Spacious and good value. The host was very accommodating. Covid restrictions meant we couldn't try the breakfast buffet and didn't use the restaurant, though you could with prior booking. Room was a bit dark. Go for upstairs room.

Great hotel in the best spot in Warnambool. Accessible with or without a car. We had a 2 bedroom apartment which was only a little more a night than the average hotel rooms and less than some other hotel rooms in town. We had just stayed at a Big 4 the nights before and the value for money was definitely better at the Best Western. Clean, bright well equipped room. Excellent service and staff. The food in the restaurant was exceptional. A real treat and surprise.

We had a fantastic stay at the Best Western Olde Maritime Motor Inn. The staff were were wonderful - friendly and very accommodating. The accommodation was great - modern amenities, spacious rooms, fabulous room service. Terrific breakfast/meals. The motor inn is perfectly positioned for families (opposite Flagstaff Hill, only metres from the Lake Pertobe adventure playground, and minutes from the town centre). We will return.

What an awesome motel. Location was fantastic to the main town. Rooms was super clean. Food in restaurant was outstanding. The service when checking in and in the restaurant was the best I have seen in years, even travelling abroad. Congratulations best accommodation and device I have had in a long time. Our 9th visit to both Warrnambool and Best Western Olde Maritime motor inn. The brilliant service from Raj and his staff certainly did not disappoint. We will definitely be back again one day. Fantastic.

When we walked in the door we were greeted warmly and the friendly service followed. The entire staff whether it be hotel staff or restaurant or the bar are dedicated to making the customers feel welcomed and catering to their needs. The room was comfortable and very clean. We got the superior queen which was reasonably priced. Another $18 got us a bacon and egg, eggs Benedict and 2 flat whites for brekkie. Very good value for the money. Gotta be the best in Warrnambool!

A quick one night visit to Warrnambool for work. Raj and his team were extremely professional and welcoming. The room was very clean. Meals supplied were also very good. No complaints from me!! I will be back.......

The room was spacious, clean and well equipped in a good location for the centre of town and the heritage centre. The only negative was that the bathroom has no source of heat and was quite cold for our winter visit.

As always Raj and the team have made our stay easy and pleasant. The room was immaculate! We both had a barramundi at Clovelly. Best meal. Fish was so tender it melted in your mouth. Thank you Raj & team !

I had to travel during virus restrictions for work. The staff were extremely helpful. The motel is away from the main street so there was no road noise and that made for peaceful sleep. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean.

From check in to check out nothing was a problem. Keen for a cycle after work so was shown local map and given suggestion for a ride. Clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly helpful service. Very nice room service meals from on site restaurant I will be back. Thank you Raj and team.

After a busy two days showing two International students the G.O.R. the Olde Maritime was a very comfortable, quiet and clean establishment run by friendly and helpful staff. We will stay there again. Bill and Jenny.

We had an excellent overnight stay with the family. Incredibly clean rooms (we even had a beautiful new bathroom) in a really great location in Warrnambool. The staff were all delightful and breakfast delicious. Will definitely come back

I always stay at the Olde Maritime for business. Ticks all of the boxes for my needs. Location is great, close to the water and walking distance to shops and cafes. It's always clean and the staff are friendly. Pays to book ahead! I've made the mistake of last minute and had to stay out of town.

We loved our weekend getaway here. The room was quiet and warm, the bed very comfortable and the newly renovated bathroom had a great shower. The host Raj was fantastic, very friendly and accommodating of our requests. A particular mention to the chef who catered for our dietary requirements with delicious food. Lots to do in and around Warrnambool

Great place to stay - staff are always welcoming and check in is a breeze. I always enjoy being able to go for a walk along the beach only a short distance from the Maritime. Covid means I can't use their excellent restaurant for a meal but room service is pretty good!

Wow what a fantastic motel... the check in was fast and the girls at Reception were heaps friendly and couldn't do enough for us. They allowed us to have a late check out free of charge, they put a microwave in our room and the owner even offered to drop me off out of town to pick up my motorhome...The room was modern, clean and the beds were very comfy....Breakfast was beautiful and the perfect portion size....I've stayed at a lot of motels but this was by far the best and friendliest service I've ever received...

Perfect for the 4 us. Our room was nicely cleaned and a lovely setting. We had a great meal in the restaurant and the staff were all very friendly! Beds were wonderfully comfortable and the shower had great pressure.

Pulling into Warrnambool, very tired after five days on the road, and, luckily, found the Best Western option. Very self contained, value for money, excellent restaurant, fabulous staff, and the location perfect for walks and access to the CBD at the same time. What more can I say other than - do it.

A lovely place to stay short walk out of town and very close to Flagstaff Hill. Friendly staff made us feel very welcome. The bar was good for relaxing and the restaurant was outstanding. Definitely recommend a stay here.

A very warm welcome at check in and later in the Clovelly restaurant. Staff answered all our questions with a smile. The room was fine, you can't wash up unless you use the bathroom sink so we didn't really self cater. The shower was lovely and spacious. We weren't able to leave our vehicle outside the door of our unit which wasn't a problem with our luggage. Nothing to do with the Inn but the other guests who left early in the morning left their car engine running outside whilst loading their car which meant we had a rude awakening.

I am a regular to the Olde Maritime Motor Inn and come back every time. This is due to the friendly staff, cleanliness of the rooms and the bar/restaurant. After a long day of work on road, checking into your room knowing you can get a cold beer and an awesome meal in the restaurant makes the day just that much easier.

Thank you to Raj and the team for an excellent experience. I recommend the restaurant and the room service breakfast. Great location and spotless comfortable rooms. Quiet and easy to work but would be lovely for a holiday too.

We just had a great weekend as a family. The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable for our family of four. It helped having bowls and a toaster which helped us have quick breakfasts before heading to the beach. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Warrnambool.

Room was exceptional clean, Raj the owner is very friendly and accommodating, food fantastic, excellent location, close to the beach and town centre. Friendly staff Room serviced and cleaned daily and staff able to provide additional services when requested, such as provide a microwave in the room.

We have stayed at Old Maritime Motor Inn in March each year for more than 10 years to attend the Port Fairy Folk Festival. PFFF is 25m drive away, Warrnambool is a good option if you don't want to camp and don't want to spend $$$$$ for town accomm, if you were lucky enough to find some. Every year we book the same room and it suits the needs of two couples and a teen perfectly. No complaints, the staff are friendly and always call to confirm arrangements. All the supplies you need are close by and you can always have a meal in one of the main street cafes. Highly recommended.

I travelled to Warrnambool for several days work, choosing this hotel from a booking site. It was a great choice. It is an outstanding venue, within walking distance to the beach and a lovely park area. The room was very clean and spacious. The hotel has a bar and restaurant. I didn't use these facilities but they certainly looked like a nice place to relax. It was a full house over the weekend but it was still pretty quiet, noisewise.

Stayed here two nights with a group. The hospitality shown by Raj and his staff was superb - catering for a large group can be difficult at the best of times. Dinner was served quickly and beautifully presented, fresh and tasty. Breakfast had a great choice of fruits, cereals, juices and bacon and eggs cooked to your preference. I noticed that couples (and singles) were treated with the same hospitality as we as a group were. Would definitely recommend staying here. Ideally situated opposite Flagstaff Hill & Information centre. Short walk to CBD

Very clean hotel, room was spacious. Staff were outstanding and very friendly. Excellent service. Great location, close to everything and yet in a quiet location. Would highly recommend this hotel. I look forward to staying there again.

Impressive service and cleanliness for a 3 star motel. The food was great. Breakfast included had a choice of a cooked breakfast that was awesome and the bar snack menu was delicious and extremely well priced. Bathroom was brand new and bed sheets sparkling clean. Everyone that we came into contact with that worked there was super friendly and helpful.

Easy to find and a quiet spot but close to the town centre. Lovely staff at the front desk and owner switched on about our needs. Always stay here when we come down from Sydney. Restaurant and bar are excellent

We felt very comfortable here for our one night stay on a road tour. Motel is centrally placed with easy access to shops or beach. We can highly recommend eating in at the onsite Clovelley restaurant. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our night here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable and we were just across the road from Flagstaff Hillwhich was very convenient for us. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and both were great! Recommend a stay here.

This was our 8th stay at olde maritime and it did not fail to impress. Raj and his staff were impeccable with their service.the heritage room was brilliant. We will definitely be back. Compliments!!!!

My review relates to the 2 bedroom apartment in this complex which was in an older section of the motel and may be not reflective of the decor of the newer units. We thought the fixtures and furnishings looked quite dated featuring lots of dark brown. There was some need of repairs - for example the temperature sign missing from the top of one of the taps. Some fresh painting was required - for example the toilet door had a large strip of bare wood exposed and the front door step was worn and only partly painted. Perhaps most off putting of all was that, although the linens in the main bedroom were clean, the room had a very musty smell as though the mattress or pillows were in need of replacing. In other respects, the unit was spacious and the managers of the hotel very pleasant, but we would not stay there again.

We only stayed one night in a 2 bedroom apt. Furnishings were rather sparse but it was very comfortable, clean and convenient. Jess was outstanding and seemed t single handed lay run the place. We ate at the attached restaurant and we all agreed the food was very good. Nice to walk to dinner/breakfast and even better when the food is great quality. We would recommend this hotel/restaurant.

I don't usually stay at motor inns, but we stayed 2 nights when driving the Great Ocean Road and was impressed by the cleanliness, the crisp sheets, updated and spacious bathroom, free bottles of water and friendly staff. Location was great - 2 blocks to the Main Street, 1 from the waterfront and not too much further to the spa and mineral baths in Warrnambool. From the GOR perspective, a day from here can include Bay of Islands through to the 12 Apostles easily, so happily recommend Best Western Olde Maritime as a stop over!

Such a lovely clean and cosy motel. Bed was so comfy, food was delicious kids emptied their plates , which has never happened before. Staff treated us like family. One of the best places we have ever stayed at. Worth every cent !!

Well managed and excellent service. Nice bar and restaurant. Short walk to the Flagtaff village attraction, the beach and shops. No need to search for alternative restaurants in Warrnambool. The place onsite is by far the best in town.

Fabulous location. Friendly staff. Clean and well maintained room. Great bathroom with a rain head shower. Good parking. Across the road from the Warrnambool Flagstaff Maritime Museum. Within walking distance of great cafes and restaurants.

My daughter and I stayed. We received a friendly welcome and were impressed with how clean and airy the rooms were. We also had a later checkout because we had booked via the motels website. This was an impromptu trip and my main reason for choosing this motel was the great price - less than a cabin at the caravan park. I would definitely return here.

A gem in a wonderful part of Victoria . I would highly recommend this place as a value for money quality hotel. The only down point was the quality of the food in the restaurant . 3 meals and all were dissapointing. Staff were brilliant in terms of service. Having said that , lots of good dining places in Warrnambool

Jess at reception was great help arranging a last minute room for us. The comfortable bed and dark room was perfect for our short stay. Breakfast could be served a bit later as this service ends at 9am.

We have stayed here for the last 3 years and I highly recommend it . Rooms are spotless and the friendly staff cannot do enough for you, epecially Raj, Courtney and the cleaning ladies. We look forward to returning next year.

We didn't have a booking and tried the Olde Maritime Motor Inn by chance and we were greeted with a very friendly and warm welcome. The staff were extremely helpful and polite- The room was lovely and clean. We had room service & breakfast the next day and the food was delicious, and again the staff were happy to help in anyway they could. Overall it was a great stay & i wouldn't consider staying anywhere else in Warrnambool.

This venue is friendly and great value. Had the best meal I have ever eaten here. Fantastic atmosphere and really welcoming staff. Felt very at home and welcomed from the off. Really glad we came here and would love to come again.

Last minute change of plans saw us head to Warrnambool, we stayed in a 2 bed apartment (2A and 2C) which was very spacious and clean, every convenience catered for. Kitchen, dining, living and laundry an added benefit. Excellent price for such a great central location in peak season, recommended to friends (who also stayed the same week) and will recommend again. Thank you!

booked directly through the motel and was easy and took less than 5min. Really friendly and helpful staff Thanks Courtney for the dining recommendation at Pippies, along with activities and towns to visit on the way home - they were all a hit!!!! And also for ensuring our route home wasn't amongst any current fires burning through the state. Location is walking distance to town even with a 5year old, and Lake Pertobe/ playground. Stayed in a premium twin room (room 27 ground floor) with 2 adults and a kid and it was spacious. Decor wasn't fancy, but comfortable and clean room. And it wasnt noisy at all despite the location on the main road. Plenty onsite car spaces and really easy to locate. Stayed 2 nights in a spa dulux room including breakfast. Right from check in to check out the service was friendly, polite and obliging. The room was spacious and clean. I would certainly recommend this Best Western and would stay again

The wife and I have stayed here before. We liked it so much we decided to return again. The room we were in this time was the deluxe spa room top floor. Rooms were a nice size and great views of the bay. The staff were & are always friendly and happy to assist with anything. We will stay here again in the future.

I was travelling with my adult son, so we got a twin single. The room was small but perfectly formed. Foxtel on the tv, nice toiletries in the bathroom, fresh milk in the fridge and comfy beds. We had a lovely brekkie in the restaurant. Super helpful staff who happily gave us extra towels, advice where to eat and gave me a toothbrush when I said I'd forgotten to pack mine. Location is perfect; right near the beach and the main street which is full of restaurants and cafes. We had dinner at Images which was lovely but not cheap.

Clean and modern rooms in a great central location! Its only a short walk to the Flagstaff Hill Maritime Village, the beach and to the Main Street. Friendly service when checking in and out. Would highly recommend.

Centrally located accommodation close enough to the town centre to walk to dinner. We were very well looked after here. All staff so friendly. Arrived late so had the bar meals, which were hearty and delicious. We included breakfast, and it was generous too. Needed to soak some clothes and the housekkeepers were very helpful. Would stay here again.

This was a wonderful place to stay. Raj was very helpful. Room was immaculately presented. Everything was just what we needed. Bed very comfortable and wifi fast. Lovely new bathroom too. Noise wasn't a problem and location was close to where we wanted to go.

The room was well appointed, although a kitchenette would have enhanced it even more. Maybe even a small bathroom on the mezzanine level would also have helped. comfy beds, dining table and large bathroom made the space very useable

My sister-in-law and I recently stayed for two nights at this very comfortable and friendly motel. The staff, dining room and room itself were excellent. The only downside was that the bathroom definitely needed upgrading and that the toiletries and bath towels etc were just adequate. I would then give it a 5 star rating. However, I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone looking for good, old fashioned hospitality.

I visited Olde Maritime for the first time last week, with a group of friends. We traveled by train and walked to the motel. We were too early for check-in but were given maps and local tourism advice on things to do in the meantime. The Flagstaff Hill Museum and Village is just across the road. The service throughout our stay was super-friendly and helpful, right down to Raj taking our bags (and less mobile friends) to the station before departure! My room was very tastefully updated and I give full marks for a bathroom where I could actually SEE. So many hotels sacrifice lighting for aesthetics and fail the practicality test. The motel lounge is comfortable and a nice place to relax with a drink. Warrnambool has a lot more to occupy your time than at first glance. The Botanic Gardens are superb, the local architecture is a treat, and we were sorry not to notice the Heritage Trail until too late. Next time! Thanks to Raj and staff for a lovely stay.

I am a long time customer of the Olde Maritime and though I was impressed with my experience when I first stayed some 10 years ago, I have only seen things improve year upon year. The recent bathroom renovations are excellent and dedication to constant improvements is clearly evident each time I stay. Well done Raj and team!

This is a very clean and friendly Motor Inn. It is especially great for visiting the Flagstaff Hill Museum. Parking was close to our room which was an advantage. Would definitely recommend, especially the bed and breakfast package.

We absolutely loved our overnight stay at the BW Olde Maritime Motor Inn. Our room was very spacious, clean and tidy and equipped with everything we needed for our stay (though we needed to source our own bottle opener from our car as the room didn't have one). The Motel is situated in a handy walking distance to town where we walked for dinner that night. We also explored many of the great touristy things to do around the area on foot, plenty close by the motel to do and see. Would highly recommend this place.

We found this the ideal Motel in Warrnambool. We could walk to most places around the town. Ideal if visiting the Flagstaff Hill Maritime Village which is literally across the road especially after the evening Sound and Light Show

You can leave the car behind and walk to restaurants, cafes and pubs in town. Directly adjacent to our hotel is the picturesque Flagstaff Hill and the Maritime Village and Museum and a short stroll to Lake Pertobe, swimming beaches and breathtaking boardwalks. Great location very close to the beach just a short walk, clean and tidy rooms it has a small gymnasium and plenty of parking and a in house restaurant. Very friendly reception on arrival. Walking distance to shops

Average rooms, location fine, close to local restaurants. Noisy when people in other rooms using showers/baths. Could also easily hear people in other rooms which wasnt ideal. Thankfully only staying for one night.

My partner and I booked a quick trip away from Melbourne along the Great Ocean Road and were pleased to find this hotel at the last minute. The room was clean, light and bed was comfy! The front desk and breakfast ladies very wonderfully accommodating as well – always greeting with warm smiles. We didn't have dinner there as we decided to try one of those local restaurants. However, breakfast the next day was a delight and a wonderful way to start the day. My balsamic mushrooms and pumpkin humous on toast was delish and my partners big breakfast hit just the spot. I would definitely recommend this place to any traveler. Thank you again!

This is a nice motel with facilities equal to a good hotel. A nice restaurant, gym, lots of parking and comfortable rooms - especially the heritage suites. Walking distance to shops, beach, restaurants, lake pertobe.

Service is exceptional. From the point of arrival to departure everyone working at the hotel was polite, attentive, responsive and smiled. Rooms were very clean, comfortable and up to date with furnishings and design. Fast WiFi also! The restaurant provided a great selection of dishes and wines to satisfy all needs and whilst prices were slightly on the higher side, it matched the quality, presentation and taste. Highly recommend the Best Western Olde Maritime Motor Inn and I look forward to returning again.

Charming motel providing excellent customer service. Staff in all areas from front desk, bar and restaurant, to kitchen and housekeeping could not have been more friendly or helpful. The motel is ideally situated and within walking distance to shops, tourist attractions, the beach, parks and restaurants. Warrnambool is such a lovely town and well worth a visit.

Our party of 10 well catered for at this motel. Renovations were underway and we (one couple) had to move rooms but manager could not have been more obliging. Friendly staff. Great food. Nice cocktail night Friday Happy Hour at half price. Rooms clean and comfortable.

we really enjoyed our short stay in one of the rooms in the original harbour masters accommodation. sadly we could only get one night as we had not booked prior to arrival. Not surprised really, we will definitely book in advance next time. Clean, comfortable room, staff very friendly and accommodating, delicious breakfast, very close to all amenities. We recently stayed 3 nights in a spa suite at the Best Western Old Maritime motel in Warrnambool. The room was spacious and nicely decorated, although the furniture could do with upgrading. That said, we had a very comfortable 3 nights and enjoyed a very relaxing spa at the end of each days sightseeing. The staff were friendly and accommodating and we would certainly stay there again next time we visit Warrnambool.

I was so happy with the service at olde maritime. They did a great job at making me feel right at home there. Food was amazing, staff were so pleasant and polite and the apartment was Just wonderful. Hopefully I can return for a proper holiday next time.

My partner and I stayed in the gorgeous Heritage Queen suite for our anniversary. After looking for sooo long for somewhere with character (but renovated and clean!) to stay on the Great Ocean Road for what seemed like forever, we found this cute little motel. We thought it too good to be true, especially at the price, but the room was absolutely sparkling and spotless, with two ornamental fireplaces, and a HUGE and STUNNING marble shower. It was super close to the beach and Warrnambool CBD. The staff were very, very helpful and kind, and the restaurant was very cute. One of the best accomodations I have ever stayed in! Such a romantic and cosy room with wonderful amenities. Thank you Olde Maritime!

It's an elegant space which has been completely renovated to effortlessly combine its Art Deco origins with luxurious, contemporary soft furnishings. We have tried to restore and keep the original beams, heritage wood and bricks as much as possible, glad you enjoyed it too. Come back for your next anniversary :)

After a long drive on the Great Ocean Road this was a nice place to relax. The hotel room seemed updated with nice bedding linens. The bathroom looked brand new. Great shower! Slept well on the comfortable bed. Better than most Best Western hotels. Laundry was almost free except it costs $3 per half hour of drying. Soap is free at the front desk. But this is very cheap compared to taking your clothes to a laundrette. Would highly recommend this property!

Great hotel - Huge rooms with heating that actually works! Breakfast is delicious. Staff were so helpful and friendly and made us feel like we were at home. The location is close to everything, including museums, main street, the beach and parks.

It has been the highlight of our trip to have been able to stay at this motel. It has been a real honor and pleasure to have met and dealt with the staff especially COURTNEY, JESS, Shelby and Carly. They are just such awesome people. They are a credit to themselves and to the business. The room was amazing so fresh and clean. The restaurant is real value for money and there is no need to go any where else. We enjoyed the atmosphere of the bar for a drink after a long day on the road. If it meant spending my last dollar to stay at this establishment I would have no hesitation in doing so.

The hotel is close to town, it was an easy to cafes and restaurants. The staff are very helpful and friendly, nothing was too difficult. The room is clean and tidy and the bathrooms have just been renovated.

Everyone was good at what they did, happy and helpful and efficient. We had a beautiful room however the heating would not work, when we let them know someone came immediately. The problem was sorted out and we had another heater in no time. The service was excellent.

This is the 2nd time my partner and I have stayed at this property, which can best be described as fabulous! We stayed in the spa suite, which was quiet, clean and spacious. The restaurant serves very reasonably priced, great food and we found the staff ro be friendly, helpful and pleasant at all times. My husband were only visiting overnight. The friendly and helpful staff member at reception organised for us to get a room earlier than 2pm because my husband was quite ill and needed to rest. The room was clean and the beds were so comfortable and the linen crisp and clean. We had a very early dinner in the bistro - 3.30pm of bangers and mash etc which was excellent. Next morning in the dining room we had a full hot breakfast included in the price which was great. If we went back to Warrnambool we would definitely stay there again.

Two night stay, the room was very clean, plenty of space. Very well insulated from outside noise. Breakfast was delicious and at a reasonable price. I stayed in room 19 on the ground floor. Recently renovated, the rainforest shower was wonderful. Some rooms are still to be renovated. Room 18 even has a bathtub. Definitely will stay here again.

This was my second stay at the Olde Maritime Motor Inn. Each time from the booking process to check out all staff were friendly and happy to assist, nothing was too much trouble. Rooms are comfortable and clean. WiFi worked extremely well. The location is within walking distance to shops and restaurants and within great proximity to beach, pier and river.

Terrific staff. Nice clean facilities and the area is quite. Very good value. Has a nice restaurant serving breakfast through evening meal. Unfortunately won't be back in Australia soon but certainly would use this motel again.

On our trip from Melbourne to Adelaide, we stayed overnight in this lovely hotel. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything you might need. The meals we had at the Clovelly restaurant were very good. The chocolate mud cake to die for. But we will mostly remember the staff who helped us checking our other reservations, when they noticed discrepanties in the information we had received from our travel agent.

The wife and I enjoyed a couple of nights at best western olde maritime motel. This was our 7th stay here and we are never disappointed with the accommodation or the wonderful staff. Compliments to Raj and his friendly staff. We will be back in july next year. We cannot recommend olde maritime enough. Again, compliments.

Awesome location, super friendly staff, a full restaurant and bar, freshly renovated rooms, what more could you want! The family had a great time and are already asking to go back. We will be returning for sure!

we received great service supporting very good facilities including food at the restaurant & bar. The room was very comfortable with a great sunny bow window nook. Only down side was no microwave but this was only a minor matter given the excellent service offered by all the friendly staff.

A great location in warrnambool. Rooms were spotless. Reception staff were so friendly and welcoming. Central in town and close to parks and beaches as well as attractions. Highly recommend you stay there.

My family travelled a long way to enjoy the hospitality and cleanliness of the Maritime Best Western in Warrnambool. The property is kept in a high standard of cleanliness across all areas and gardens are beautiful. The rooms are all renovated to a high standard with bathrooms all renovated across property. The Clovelly restaurant has a seasonal menu with reasonably priced fare from the sea and sourced from local produce. Raj together with wife and family, and Courtney, the Gill of all trades and staff make every effort to make your stay an enjoyable and relaxing experience. The Breakwater is across the road with restaurants and shopping only minutes to walk, the position is another reason we will return. Flagstaff Hill is across the road and the light show is well worth the journey through the shipwrecks coast history and personal stories of local identities. Plenty to see and do close by, but the beach is the stunning centrepiece of Warrnambool making it is easy to spend a lot of time at the breakwater, Julie Dart , Rhyley and Callum Dart-Bell

I regularly travel to Warrnambool and I keep coming back to the Olde Maritime Motel! Quiet location, clear of the main highway noise and traffic. Lovely spacious rooms with clean amenities. Great People and Food!! Never disappointed!!! See you in November!!!

We stayed in olde Maritime for one night. Situated close to the town centre and the beach. Room was clean,comfortable and warm. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was generous. It was great having the restaurant and bar nearby on a cold wet night. Had a lovely meal. Would highly recommend staying in Olde Maritime Motor Inn.

Keep coming back to this hotel for our business trips over the last 5 years. Completely satisfied with the service of the hotel team. Clean rooms, exceptionally friendly staff. Nice restaurant. Great location, just a short walk to a beach and meters from the Flagstaff village.

Nice place not too close to the main road, got a good nights sleep, service at breakfast was quick and efficient. Staff were very friendly. Walking distance to town, Maratime museum etc. Would stay here again.

Such wonderful service, pleasant, friendly, helpful staff...cleaners through to the owners! Our room (with the mezzanine) was soo very comfortable and great quality, including the toiletries, tea, coffee biscuits, exceptionally clean, wifi fast, many choices on tv., we didn't need to use the gym with such gorgeous walks just outside our door. The restaurant was excellent and our breakfast deal was a real bonus.

The room was just as described, the staff were more than helpful, overall a very good experience. The food was excellent the prices good and the ambiance in the bar lounge was perfect. Could not fault the location.

What an amazing weekend. Everything was exceptional, service, staff, location, room,cleanliness, breakfast, weather, Views front and back. So close to all tourist attractions, CBD, beach, restaurants. There is nothing that we can fault. Well maybe one thing the length of our stay was way to short. Have requested the same room again as we most definitely will be coming back.

We had an overnight stay at BW Olde Maritime Motel as part of a Spicer Thoroughbred Racing to see Lindsay Smith's Stables at Warrnambool and a new horse acquisition. The visit was preceded by a great dinner in the motel's restaurant. There were about thirty of us and a bus tour preceded our sitting so great job by restaurant staff and chefs. Food was excellent with three choices and very friendly and efficient staff. They put on an early breakfast especially for us with bacon, eggs plus full selection of fruit and cereals. Reception staff were very friendly and made everybody feel most welcome. Our room was a standard room but very clean, great heating and TV with full range of channels. Instant hot water which is rare! WiFi was good and a very comfortable bed. They also have deluxe rooms with spas etc. The motel is well located near the top of the town with close access to the Breakwater entertainment area and close to the city shops. Plenty of free parking.

The motel is extremely clean and tidy, Internet is fast and easy, the meals in the restaurant are amazing and the staff always friendly. I would recommend this motel to anyone who likes comfort and amazing service.

Really enjoyed my stay at the Olde Maritime. Staff are extreamly friendly and helpfull, greated me by name. My room had been recently renovated with a brand new bathroom. Shower was great. Bed comfy and warm, room was very clean and smelt fresh. The food and service in the on site resturant is excellent with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Looking forward to my next visit

We had the pleasure of staying at the Best Western Olde Maritime this weekend for our 10 year Wedding Anniversary . We stayed in a Deluxe Spa room loved the Cathedral ceiling , the decor and the view. We thought the meals at the in house Clovelly restaurant were amazing. Cleanliness and service were excellent. The owner Raj and Emma and all the staff were happy and friendly we highly recommended the Olde Maritime and we will be staying there again .

From the moment we walked in to reception, I felt like I was at home. My husband and I were warmly greeted, making us feel like we were long time regulars, yet it was our first visit. We were delighted with the surprise of a room upgrade, making our stay even better. The room itself was immaculate. An exceptionally comfortable bed greeted us and a huge shower (the largest I have ever seen in a motel!) was certainly a highlight. The absolute best thing about the entire room, would have to be the electric blanket on the bed. Knowing that Warrnambool can be very cold, it was so comforting to know that we would be warm, and be able to control the warmth! Even though there was a reverse cycle air con, the electric blanket was a special touch. The customer service of all the staff cannot be faulted. They were very friendly, and genuinely happy to interact with us. Thank you to each of you, we cannot wait to stay here again!!!

Late booking. Venue called to make sure I would be set for a meal as the kitchen was shortly closing. Rooms very clean. Grounds kept very clean too. Breakfast in restaurant was very nice. Was a repeat visit for me as I had stayed there when checking out residential accomodation for my brother a couple of years back. Was back again helping my brother move back to Warrnambool after a sojourn in Melbourne, knew exactly where to stay.

The inn is located opposite Flagstaff Hill Maritime Village and next to the Clovelly Restaurant. I had a comfortable stay. It was cosy and quiet although the room was on the small side. Very polite and friendly service. I would recommend the inn and would stay again.

Had a great time at the Best Western Olde Maritime Motor Inn. Limited rooms left so was offered a family apartment at a discount which was perfect! Bub had a ball in the spa bath and it was so easy to order excellent room service & save us having to go out again after a very long day of driving! Staff were friendly and helpful. Pity we only could stay the night. Rooms were clean and fresh. Couldn't fault anything. Was a bit suspicious on why this hotel had hundreds of reviews more than any other close by, but they do request a review at a number of spots - ie the internet password (clever) and via email afterwards. I stayed here for a business trip. We had dinner and breakfast as a group. The food was great. The rooms were clean and well equipped. I really loved the recycling bins in the rooms. The service was exceptional from check in to check out. Every single member of staff was happy and smiling and provided exceptional service. I really couldn't recommend this motor inn highly enough.

The room was very comfortable and well looked after. The heater was on when I arrived which was welcome in the single number temps outside. The restaurant service and food was great as well as the staff. Big thumbs up.

Very pleasant and welcoming staff. Rooms were spacious and well kept. Only a couple of hiccups: antenna's connection to tv loose and phone wasn't working. Other than that, great facilities and amenities.

Very friendly, clean and rooms heated for guest arrival, I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Warrnambool. Bar and food fantastic nice cosy relaxed entertaining oh happy our every Friday need I say anymore

Well presented comfortable rooms have plenty of space for baggage. It was good to have a ground floor room so no carrying suitcases up stairs, and nice to have a kettle and toaster in the room. Bathroom was just renovated!

So I thought I booked a Sunday night stay, but when I showed up on the Sunday, I was told that my booking had been made for the Saturday night. When I reviewed my booking confirmation, they were right I had booked for the night before. Not wanting to pay for a night I didn't use, the management and staff were happy to transfer my booking there and then so I was not out-of-pocket any extra money and I was able to stay the Sunday night. To make things even better, the beer was cold, the steak was cooked perfectly and the staff were very friendly. Will stay again for sure.

Great hotel - friendly staff and really good food. Comfortable beds! Would have liked to have stayed longer!! Lots to do! The town has a lot to offer. During May-October one can see whales from the beach!

Visited Warrnambool for the first time, stayed overnight to look around. Allocated to a small room with no view but okay for two people staying overnight. The room is clean and well maintained. But A bit disappointed that even a small bottle of water is charged, not complimentary despite paying a fair fee for overnight stay during non holiday season. But staff were all amazing and made us feel welcomed. 5 starts to staff but not overall experience.

Spent 3 Nights and enjoyed the great location. Great friendly staff and the Bar is a warm place for a quiet glass or two with generous Bar meals. The rooms were clean, warm and spacious for a sngle traveller.

We booked a budget twin single room. The room was small but comfortable, The staff were excellent, friendly, extremely helpful. A very tasty serve of Eggs Benedict for Breakfast. The facilities (Gym, Laundry etc) were great. and the Motel is very maintained and neat. I would definitely stay here again.

Spent weekend in Warrnambool and stayed at Olde Maritime Motor Inn. It is an excellent position - can walk to most places from here. Beds were comfy, heater works well, it is quiet despite being close to a main intersection and check in and check out were easily managed. Staff were attentive and pleasant so it was an enjoyable stay.

Its a Great place to Stay, Close to attractions and town so you can leave the car there and walk. The staff made me feel welcome from the moment I walked through the door and the meals at the restaurant were fantastic.

I booked a room with a spa bath. I had stayed in the same room about 12 months ago. Spacious room with a comfortable bed and pleasant outlook towards the coast. The meals for dinner and breakfast were excellent. Friendly and pleasant staff were always willing to help. The rate is higher than a number of other motels in Warrnambool but it included a delicious hearty hot breakfast.

The staff (all of them) are extremely friendly and welcoming. The weather was cold and windy outside, however the staff always ensured you felt warm inside. The meals from the bistro were hearty and delish, even with dietary requirements. Will always recommend, love the proximatity to the city centre as well.

Lovely staff, friendly service, great rooms & location. Perfect for short or longer stays. Great bar and restaurant on site. Easy walk to town centre. Short drive to whale watching & other attractions.

This property continues to deliver brilliant service, meals & accommodation at the highest possible level. Raj, Courtney and crew just make everything so easy with a what appears to be a minimum of fuss but every detail is covered perfectly. Accommodation is always spotless with great beds, towels and the heater on is a nice touch. Dinner (doesn't matter what is ordered is very good but my bara last night was great and travelling companion had prawn pasta that was equally as good) & Breakfast (has the mushies and they were outstanding) is always equal and if not better than most.

Stayed two days. Staff were friendly, helpful and greeted us with a smile. Rooms were clean. Great central location, owner even drove us to the railway station when it was pouring with rain. Highly recommend.

Friendly welcome at reception. Clean and tidy modern room. Foxtel works well. Unsure exactly how the heater works on the split system, but it's probably my incompetence. Happy and will stay here again soon!

Room very spacious but has a tiny bathroom. Modern and well presented and opposite Flagstaff Hill. About 15 min walk to either the beach or into town. Food is nice but the chilli prawn pasta dish had double the chilli it needed and spoilt the dish. Buffet breakfast has a reasonable selection or have breakfast in your room if you prefer. Can choose a dish off the menu and still help yourself to juice and tea/coffee. Quiet location at night, no issue with traffic noise. Has a small but modern gym, which was also well presented. Good parking and spacious.
