Very comfortable and very clean room. The bed mattress was perfect for me. I had dinner at the attached restaurant and that was a wonderful choice. Lovely people and the owner/manger, Raj is outstanding. No hesitations about staying here. A couple rooms do require climbing stairs, so be aware if that's a problem for you.

The room was perfect for us ! The air con didn't make a noise it was quite as . The sun came into our room each morning it was beautiful . Loved the rain head shower , and the water temp was hot !! We will come back as the staff are helpful and Raji is always smiling ! This is a perfect place to stay at, and we walked to a lot to eating places . And why not as everything is within walking distances ! Love this place please visit when u can you will enjoy it.

After a long drive over Victoria's potholed roads it was good to arrive here. The room was comfortable and being able to park outside the door was a relief after the raffertys rules of some places. Room service was provided at a reasonable rate. No lighting over the bench made making hot drinks a bit of a challenge. Would definitely stay here again.

What a lovely experience. I stayed in Room 34 for two nights and could not have been happier. Perfectly clean, spacious, bright, comfortable and quiet. Apart from minimal stairs/hallway and doors closing noise it was calm and relaxing. I felt completely welcomed in the hotel bar area and was more than happy to sit there on my own for a wine. Room service for dinner both nights was efficient, fantastic food and good portions. Lots of free parking and free internet. Perfect location with friendly and wonderfuls staff, I can't wait to go back!

Great location within easy walking distance to the foreshore district as well as the Centre of town, pubs, eateries etc. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly, engaging and helpful.

I am travelling regularly from Melbourne to Warrnambool for work. I love my stays at Best Western Olde Maritime Motor Inn. The staff are lovely. The rooms are very good and the restaurant attached has great food for dinner and breakfast. It is very well situated at the lakes end of Banyan Street and is close to the centre of Warrnambool.

Great location near the Warrnambool train station it a walking distance to the shopping centre raj and the staff are amazing I don't get down to Warrnambool a lot they are like family each time I'm there they are always amazing they do anything to make your stay and I never want to go home I be there in November can't wait to see them again you would never be disappointed when you stay here I would never stay anywhere in Warrnambool but only at this motel I get disappointed when I go home thanks again raj the service is amazing

We absolutely loved our stay. Everything was beautifully clean, and the new renovations look fantastic. The breakfast has really improved, and the coffee is now outstanding, it has improved out of sight! As always, every member of staff was warm, friendly and incredibly accommodating. They genuinely bend over backwards to help in any way they can, which makes staying here such a pleasure. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful location for access to the beach, shops, restaurants and cafes. Our room was presented very well with a high level of cleanliness. The restaurant and bar area is a great attraction and has a lovely atmosphere.

We spent a night here when driving the Great Ocean Rd. The room was spotless and as described. The staff were lovely. The bed was comfy. It's walking distance to Warnnambool town centre.

We had the most amazing stay this past weekend! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome. Our room was perfect and absolutely spotless, and the location couldn't have been better. But what really made our stay so memorable was the wonderful staff. Everyone we met was genuinely friendly, welcoming and happy to help. A very special mention has to go to Courtney, who truly went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Her knowledge of the area was incredible, and her tips and advice on how to get the most out of our Great Ocean Road trip were absolutely priceless. Breakfast was spot on, and our lovely waitress was so friendly, chatty and kind — the perfect way to start the day. We will definitely be returning to Warrnambool, and there is no question about where we'll be staying! Thank you to the entire team for making our weekend so special. For our first short break in Warrnambool this was the perfect place to stay. Location was great, meaning we could walk to the beach, thunder point, the CBD and the Flagstaff!! The restaurant next door served delicious food and had room for a drink by the fire. Rooms are very comfortable and clean, parking at your own door! Raj and his wife are perfect hosts who make you feel at home straight away.

We had the best time during our two-night stay at The Best Western Olde Maritime. Our room was beautiful, with stunning timber ceiling details that gave it so much character. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room was spacious and well-appointed. The absolute highlight of our stay was the staff. What a great location, very close to Visitor Centre and its friendly staff and a short walk into the town centre. Raj and his staff were so wonderful. Full of helpful information, very welcoming and only too ready to please. Lovely restaurant on site serving delicious breakfasts and dinners. Our room was very clean and comfortable with plenty of space (Deluxe King). It was very handy for us that they offered piacked lunches and we availed ourselves of this as we were travelling by train. Raj even gave us a lift to the station, so wonderful and generous of him.

I enjoyed my stay. I only stayed one night for work but the bed was comfy, it was quiet, the room was nice and dark in the morning, and the staff very friendly. I would definitely recommend it.

Room was spacious and well laid out, with a table and 2 chairs in a bay window kind of configuration, admitting plenty of natural light. Complimentary use of laundry facilities. Friendly and helpful reeceptionist. Attractive restaurant (was only used for breakfast) Easily accessible from highway, but in a quiet area.

Perfect accommodation. I went with a mate on a motorbike ride. We needed a twin room. The room was perfect. It was clean, sizerable and comfortable in a quiet area. The TV had Fox Footy, which was important. The bathroom was spotless and the shower water was excellent. The check-in process was easy. The receptionist was bubbly and friendly and helpful. We were close to the main street. It was only a short walk to a local pub where we spent most of the day. I geninely have no criticisms.

Beth behind the counter when we checked in was so nice, actually everyone was very nice! Just chatting away and Sarah our waitress was very nice talking about where we were from and a thousand questions! Will definitely stay here when we are in the area again, just wonderful wonderful staff!

Lovely stay at the Inn. Sadly only there for one night. A friendly welcome at reception from Courtney, very clean and comfortable room, great location. We were happy with everything (a second pillow on the beds is the only thing we'd say was missing). If we are back in Warrnambool we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Ideally located in a quite part of town opposite the Maritime museum, a short walk to the RSL, Surf club and lake Pertobe and all it's attractions. The room had been recently renovated and couldn't be faulted. Competitive rates and good value, ample parking. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, there is also bar facilities and a restaurant. Will be return guests

We stayed here for 3 nights and could not fault it. The staff were friendly, Beth was exceptional and Courtney was so helpful. Our meals were a delight, with plenty to eat. We visited Flagstaff Hill Maritime Village which was interesting, then in the evening we saw a spectacular sound and light show. On this trip I have to say Warnambool was my favourite place and would go back again.

The Best Western Olde Maritime Motor in is a great place to stay. We stayed in a deluxe room, and the room was fabulous. But the bed was amazing. No complaints at all. Then there is the breakfast. I booked the bed and breakfast package direct, and the breakfast was outstanding

I travelled solo to Warrnambool as a Senior Lady on a respite weekend, I was welcomed so warmly by the lovely lady at reception and upgraded. My room was very comfortable, especially the bed! Everything was clean and user friendly. No mini bar available, coffee, toaster etc was offered. What I really liked about this accommodation was the position, walking distance to maritime village which offered an excellent cafe which overlooked the ocean and the village! Short drives to Logan beach and town centre! Room was good value, I did stay sat and sun! Thanks again I will return!

Great place to stay. Clean rooms, comfortable beds and pillows a a nice restaurant with good food at reasonable prices. Position perfect but the best thing is the friendly and attentive staff. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they make you feel at home. I was there for business but would easily go just for a quality get away any time.

We have stayed in this motel twice and it is one of the better motels we have stayed in. Great location, easy to walk into town, welcoming and friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed, restaurant on site which serves a good breakfast - ticks all our boxes. We will be back for a third visit when we need to stop over in Warrnambool.

I was staying at the motel as I was attending a concert in Warrnambool. I called Raj on reception the day before and asked if we could park our car at the motel as we would be arriving before check in time. He was very helpful and said that we could do that. We arrived at the motel at about 1pm and as our room was ready, we were able to not only park our car but to access our room, which was very much appreciated. Reception staff were lovely and friendly. The room itself was a twin with two single beds which were very comfy. There was also a modern bathroom. The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean. The room also had a split system, TV and fridge. The noise level was low, only hearing traffic every now and again. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely book there again.

Fabulous from the moment we arrived at the station where we were graciously met by Raj's wife to the very last moment when we said our goodbyes knowing full well that we will be back next year in January. It is one of these rare occasions in life when "same time, same place" takes full meaning. We were visiting famnily at the Shipwreck bay caravan park, the location at teh top of Lake Pertobe was very convenient. The room was well appointed, clean and comfortable.

This was an excellent place to stay. We had booked an apartment and a king suite. Both accommodations were extremely clean, spacious and comfortable. The food from the room service was delicious, as was the breakfast in the restaurant. The location was great, a short walk into town with lots of food/drink options and shops. Also, a 10-minute walk to the beach side, where there was lots of atmosphere. Raj, the owner, was very professional and friendly, as was the restaurant's wait staff. Would not hesitate to return and recommend to others. Very good value overall.

We stayed for two nights over the new year period. The motel was very convenient to the new year's eve fireworks, beach, Maritime Village and Lake Pertobe recreation area. It was also only a few minutes walk from Warrnambool's central shopping and dining precinct. Our room was clean, comfortable, well-appointed and a good size. We had breakfast in the hotel restaurant which was lovely. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our return stay in one of the two bedroom appartments. The accommodation is centrally located yet quiet and secure, which made it ideal for our holiday. It was great to see that feedback we'd previously provided had been actioned. The room was clean, well maintained, and had everything we needed. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Negative only the missing option to heat the bathroom e.g. tiles and the many cracks in the terasse door and windows through which the cold could be felt coming in.

Stayed here overnight for a work trip after the recommendation from fellow colleagues and was definitely impressed by the accommodation and restaurant. The room was a Premium Queen room and very clean, nicely sized and with everything you need. In a really convenient location to town and was able to walk into town for the work function. Definitely keen to book again for the next visit.

We wish we had stayed here for longer! Raj, his wife and Beth made us feel like old friends returning to a favourite hotel. The location was perfect for the centre of the city and the beach, with lots of cafes and restaurants to choose from. We were here whilst the second Ashes test was on and with both Raj and Beth being English we were supporting the visitors (although Raj was wearing an Aussie shirt and hat!) It made for a fantastic atmosphere in the bar and we met some fab Aussie supporters too. The Clovelly restaurant provided excellent breakfast choices and local, fresh evening meals - the kangaroo was delicious! Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortable with a lovely shower room and away from the road. It was great value for our 3 nights and we would love to go back!

Whenever I stay in Warrnambool, I always stay at Best Western Olde Maritime Motor Inn. The room was quiet and spacious, and the bed very comfortable, and it is very convenient to have a dining room for Dinner and Breakfast. Warmly recommended.

We have been to warnambool many times over the years and always stay here. It is so nice and clean and comfy. Great position as can walk to everything. Staff and owners are awesome and the whole team from cleaning staff to management make us feel welcomed .it's the little things like nice biscuits with the coffee in the room and lovely toiletries.

A very friendly welcome at this traditional motel with restaurant. The room was a bit old fashioned but clean and comfortable. Traffic on the road outside did not bother us at all. There was plenty of parking in the courtyard. The hotel seems to be popular with travelling workmen in big pick ups. We did not eat in the restaurant in the evening but the menu looked to be good. Breakfast was cooked to order, the food was good and service was very friendly but the restaurant did not seem to be at all busy.

We were passing through when we stayed at the Best Western Olde Maritine Motor Inn. The room was very comfortable and freshly clean, and looked to have been recently renovated. ensuite area was nice with a great shower. We would recommend to anyone wanting a nice place to stay over in when visiting Warrnambool. Also the restaurant was great for both dinner and breakfast, good food, friendly service.

The location is fantastic, close to the beach and a large community park facility for a morning walk. We stayed in very large rooms (that apparently were part of the lighthouse caretaker's original cottage) at a very moderate tariff. Highly recommend.

I was in Warrnambool for business, and had booked for 4 nights, but after a few changes to my itinerary, I changed to 3 nights. Not one thing was a problem for the team to accommodate the change. The bathrooms are beautifully modern and the amenities were perfect for what I needed. Location is brilliant and close to absolutely everything, with many dining options if you chose to not dine in the onsite restaurant Clovelly. Every staff member I spoke to were absolutely divine and gave service of a 6 star hotel. Highly recommend to families, couples, workers and families.

The Olde Maritime in Warrnambool was very good, well situated, quiet, clean and friendly staff. The owner Raj and his wife Bronwyn are lovely people.

This is a lovely quiet well kept motel, rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the bar and bistro were really nice. Good value all around and the staff were particularly warm and efficient.

The Olde Maritime Motel is not in the heart of the city, but in a quieter place opposite the Pioneer Settlement which has an excellent Sound and Light show. Bus line 5 is outside the main entrance. Room 18 is a spacious ground floor suite, which I would book again. [ I do wish there had been a small refrigerator. ] Staff were cheerful and professional. Breakfast, Dinner, Bar Snacks and drinks were enjoyable, and fairly priced. Altogether, a happy experience.

Excellent rooms plenty of space and modern bathrooms. Stayed in one of the 3rd storey loft rooms with views out to sea. Hotel bistro food was very good. Options to dine in breakfast through to dinner. Raj and the team look after you very well their customer service couldn't be faulted.

we stayed here for one night and I'm already booking our next visit. The staff were ready and willing to assist. We were on the tail end of a work trip with a large 4WD and trailer. The staff quickly directed us to onsite parking. We chose to book the deluxe king room. The room was exactly as pictured, clean and well presented. Very spacious room. This property does have three floors which are accessible via stairs so if you have difficultly make sure to contact the hotel for a ground floor room. We dined at the onsite restaurant for breakfast. Again all of the staff were friendly and couldn't do more for us. Raj, the owner, stopped by and greeted us by name. Honestly the best service I've had while staying in a hotel in Australia. Walking distance to the Whalers Hotel if you are visiting for an event there.

We travelled to Warrnambool for a comedy show and booked two nights at Olde Maritime Motor Inn. It is located close to Lake Pertobe and walking distance to cafes, Flagstaff Hill Maritime Village and the RSL. The room was very spacious, the bathroom was great and the bed very comfortable. The staff were welcoming and helpful. We had dinner at Clovelly Restaurant attached to the motel on Sunday night. Excellent food and service. Highly recommend a stay here when visiting Warrnambool.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Best Western Olde Maritime Motor Inn. We chose this accommodation as it was away from the main street so it was very quiet. The front of the building is very lovely to look at. Inside the grounds, there is ample parking. Everything was tidy. Our booking was for a two bedroom unit. The rooms were clean and modern. We had a kitchen with everything that we needed including a dishwasher. There was also a washing machine and dryer in the laundry. There was even a small backyard and lawn area outside the front of the unit. I'm glad that we paid the extra for this unit as it gave our teenage son some space to himself. Every staff member that we encountered was friendly and helpful. On the second night of our stay, we had dinner in the Clovelly Restaurant. The food and service were fabulous. We ate early so it was quiet.

On arrival in was greeted with a friendly smile & a sincere welcome. The first thing I noticed was how spacious the cabins are. So clean & fresh. I didn't hear any noise coming from the car park or the other units. Breakfast was delivered every morning ontime (just droppedmy order in each eveningbefore 8pm), hot, tasty & decent portions. I rang room service each evening, wow, food is so fresh , tasty & very generous portions. Every meal or breakfast was delivered with a very friendly smile & greeting. Will definitely go back. Location is central to town. Staff are friendly, professional and seemed to go ut of their way to make my stay a pleasure.

We only stayed for one night but will definitely stay again. Close to everything (walking distance to many shops and restaurants). The rooms were clean & had everything we needed and there is plenty of parking. We had a delicious in room breakfast. Amazing team who go above & beyond. See you next time

The staff are amazing and are so accommodating and once you stay there you will want to go back. The staff will remember you as a frequent stayer and treat you as old friends. I have stayed here with family and solo, each time my stay is very comfortable and again the staff are so accommodating. We were 3 adults in a very generous apartment in the historical part of the motel.Two televisions.One was upstairs in the loft bedroom.Very clean up to date and warm. There was a gym if we felt like it!! Hot breakfast was offered.I had an excellent made to order mushroom omelette.

As always we consulted TripAdvisor when we were looing to stay a night in Warnambool on the way from Melbourne to Adelaide. This was not the top rated, but had good reviews so we went for it - and am glad we did! We opted for one of the top rooms, which are attic style up some steep steps, but it was worth the climb. The room was extremely spacious, spotlessly clean, well appointed and very comfortable. Have to agree with others that the beds and pillows were some of the best ever. Easy walking distance to the heart of the town and although small attic windows, it did have a great view across to the sea - something that some of the other places we could have stayed claimed, but really could not deliver looking at them. About the only criticism is that the fridge has no freezer, which meant that keeping your esky ice blocks frozen was not possible - probably not an issue for most people though. Easy parking, great location, quiet, clean, comfortable.

Our family spent one evening at this property and thoroughly enjoyed it. While the room was clean, spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious, the big standout for me was the exceptional service we received from all staff throughout our stay. We had initially booked a Family Mezzanine Room which involved climbing a few flights of stairs. Normally this is no issue for us but we had arrived later than expected (in the dark) and I am visually impaired. The lady on reception very generously offered to upgrade us to a 2-bed apartment to make life easier for me given the circumstances. We were most grateful for this kind and considerate gesture. Breakfast at the onsite restaurant the next morning was delicious, and the service was superb. The whole experience was extremely positive. I would recommend this hotel to any traveller visiting the Warrnambool area.

We stay here several times a year to visit family. All the staff,facilities and convenience to town always make it enjoyable to visit.

The room was clean and modern. The welcome and service from the staff was wonderful. I had a large car trailer with me, and they were able to assist with parking this on the premises.

We love coming to BW Warrnambool because it's very friendly, great location and has restaurant on site. Clearly rooms have been refurbished and they look great. Odd thing to call out but important to us, water pressure in show is amazing. We have previously stayed in two room accommodation with our kids but now we travel alone as our kids are all grown up. Recommend as a great place to stay.

We booked the family mezzanine for a family of 4. It was perfect spacious with a huge bed on upper level. Lovely rooms. Clean and well maintained. They have a small restaurant which is open until 8:30 at night. There are many restaurants in the town which are open until later. Very helpful and lovely staff. The only con is there's nothing nearby. But not very far either. We had a car so it wasn't a problem. We loved everything about this place and would definitely go again

Super convenient. - very soft pillow-top beds!! Best beds in our entire trip. - simple basic functional room - good enough for one night or even 3! - in the room: mini fridge, extra pillows, blanket, one tissue box, towels, hairdryer. Not included bedroom slippers, toothbrush set (free from reception), no clock (good cos more counter space), no keyhole but has chain for door. - dinner was good at Clovelly: good beer battered fish & chips (fish was very tender and sweet), good bacon carbonara (creamy), excellent apple crumble with custard and ice cream. - powerful stong aircon - server Fabienne was cheerful whenever she checked on us, ensuring we enjoyed our meal Not so good - mozzies escaping into our room due to cold weather. We caught 2 but we probably took too long loading our stuff from car into room. - smallish bed (short and just single size) - cobwebs directly above the bed (wiped them off the reading light) - no bedroom slippers Would we stay here again? My husband recently stayed at the Best Western Olde Maritime in Warrnambool during the May Racing Carnival, and he hasn't stopped talking about the experience! From the moment he arrived, he was welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality—not only by the owners Raj & Bronwyn, but also by the lovely ladies at reception, the restaurant, and the bar. The whole team went above and beyond to make the stay feel personal and relaxed. After a fun day at the races, it was such a bonus to be able to unwind with a drink at the onsite restaurant and bar before heading just a few steps away to a super comfortable bed. The convenience and comfort were second to none. He especially appreciated being able to “kick on” a little without needing to travel, knowing his bed was just nearby! He wouldn't hesitate to recommend Olde Maritime to anyone visiting Warrnambool—whether for the races or a relaxing getaway. Great location, outstanding service, and those beds… heavenly! In fact, he has already booked again!

I have stayed at this motel so many times this motel is the greatest place to stay it's near the Warrnambool train station it's about 5 minutes to walk to town this motel has a restaurant does breakfast and dinner the staff are amazing too they do make your holiday or weekend away if you need something or know anything about the town they will help you out I really love staying here I don't come here often when I do it's just like family they will get to know you will never want to leave here and it's like home from home I'm in a two bedroom apartment

We have stayed here numerous times and have always found it to be excellent. The staff are all friendly and professional, the rooms are clean and comfortable. The restaurant is very nice and the breakfast excellent with a very expansive menu. We also enjoy an evening drink in the very cosy bar. We will definitely stay again.

We had room service breakfast it arrived on time and was delicious. We also dined in the Restaurant each night of our stay. Staff were fantastic and service was great as they were busy being Easter. Can recommend the Calamari, Lamb Cutlets and the Eton Mess. Great choice of wine and beers.

Staff were absolutely wonderful. Nothing was to much trouble. However, the room was very small, tiny fridge with no freezer section for ice. Restaurant was very pricey, food very ordinary. Wine list price over the top. Noisy bathroom exhaust

A warm welcome awaited us courtesy of Beth who was friendly, welcoming and gave us some great advice for a drive along the Great Ocean Road. The room and bed were comfortable and the bathroom clean and modern. The wifi and TV were both good and there were plenty of socket outlets in the room and a USB charger. Being able to park right outside the room gave us quick and easy unloading. Highly recommend this as a place to stay.

We stayed for 1 night with our young children (3yo and infant). The beds were comfortable, room clean and the bathroom modern and clean. The location was very convenient, close to restaurants, the maritime village and the amazing Lake Pertobe adventure playground. Unknown to us, our 3yo left behind 2 beloved soft toys in the room. We received a call from a lovely gentleman from the hotel early that afternoon letting us know. Unfortunately we were unable to go back to Warrnambool, but the hotel was easily able to organise to post the toys back to us straight away (which we happily paid the cost of postage). This motel ticked all the boxes. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The meals were outstanding. The location very convenient with the museum over the road and the shops close by. But best of all was the friendliness and willingness to make your stay a good one from all the staff. I was on a coach tour , with 50 seniors , the staff and the owners were fantastic , couldnt do enough for you, they always had a smile on the faces , no mater what time of the day , so eager to help , The food was fantastic , came out hot !! which with a large group is a challenge , the motel rooms were clean and had the little touches that make a difference

Very old fashioned place. Service was largely excellent and they were very helpful before we arrived. We had a mezzanine room which was much dingier than I expected from the pictures, and there was no lift to the 3rd floor so we had to carry our luggage up the stairs. It was clean and functional though with loads of space for our small family.

We had a lovely 2 night stay in a beautiful room/suite. Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable, the staff members were all very friendly, the breakfasts included in our deal were excellent. The owner was hands on and we would recommend staying at this inn. The laundry facility was clean and a bargain. The only slight downside was a lack of USB ports. Well worth the money.

Stayed one night on a road trip. Our spotlessly clean king room was large with a separate sitting area and a lovely bathroom. The room had two beautiful old fireplaces in them. Food was excellently cooked for both dinner and breakfast. In fact I had a breakfast with Yorkshire pudding a first! I would highly recommend staying here. There seems to be a wide variety of rooms and a large laundry.

The double room was large, the bathroom was spacious. There was plenty of bench space in bathroom and next to microwave. Air-conditioning worked well. Iron and board; and hairdryer were used and worked well. We had no complaints, it was great. Would return.

Very clean and comfortable accomodation. Restaurant attached was also very good. Motel is in walking distance of cafes, shops as well as Flagstaff Hill with its historical experiences, museum and information centre. Bus tours also pick up from Flagstaff Hill. I would stay here again!

The reception staff Beth was amazing!! She was so friendly, helpful and even made me a cappuccino while I was waiting for my room, as I had arrived early. My premium queen room was more than I expected, room was very clean, very quiet, had foxtel TV, bed was super comfy and the bath was divine. Could not fault the room at all. I ordered room service from the Clovelly Restaurant and the food was delicious.

Our room was very clean and the shower was awesome. All the staff were super friendly, especially the breakfast staff who serve up one of the tastiest breakfasts you will have. Definitely our preferred accommodation whenever we visit Warrnambool.

I made a reservation at this property 7 months ago as I planned a tour of the Great Ocean Road based on the high TripAdvisor ratings. I was not disappointed. The property is spotless, the restaurant outstanding and the room is perfect. These things alone make this venue perfect for your stay in Warrnambool. What really makes it spectacular however is the staff. They are a World Class service team led by the owner/manager Raj whom I had the pleasure to meet. I paid a little extra for the suite which was well worth it. Raj told me he refurbished the room which was part of the original property some 100 years ago. The room is very spacious, clean and beautiful. Close to the gym, laundry and restaurant. The staff is incredible and one of the finest in the world: 1) Leah. MVP of the visit. Delightful check in experience. Warm greeting, great orientation to the property, helped with check in form. Served us for our dinner. Provided recommendations on the menu and shared conversation that taught us things about Australian dining and culture (largest serving portions I have ever seen). Non stop smile, absolutely charming. 2) Courtney. Provided an exceptional greeting upon arrival. Readily provided a map and a suggestion for my morning walk and sightseeing the next day. She was absolutely delightful to speak with. Unfortunately she had left before we ate dinner. 3) Isaac. Provided wait service at dinner and did an excellent job. 4) Bon. Bon took my dinner reservation and confirmed my booking in the morning before I arrived. He was exceptional and I will meet him AFTER I post this review. I'm sure his breakfast service and greeting will be exceptional as well. This property is World Class with an exceptional owner and staff. Don't miss this property in Warrnambool.

We loved our stay here. The room was huge with nice views. Breakfast was the best we have had in Australia, so definitely book breakfast if staying here. Location is great for beach and the town. However, what made our stay so special was the super friendly and helpful front of house / management team.

We have stayed at The Olde Maritime Motor Inn quite a few times and always enjoy our stay. The restaurant food is really good - breakfast and room service dinner bar menu this stay. The rooms are always clean and tidy and have all that you require (no micro waves though).

Staying at the Best Western Olde Maritime in Warrnambool was like discovering a treasure chest filled with comfort, charm, and just the right amount of nautical flair. The room was so cosy it felt like a personalised retreat designed to make me never want to leave—which, as someone who inspects buildings for a living, is not a compliment I hand out lightly! And Courtney, the manager behind the desk, is basically the Swiss Army knife of hospitality. Need something? She's got it. Didn't realise you needed something? She's already sorted it. She made my stay so seamless that I began to wonder if she's secretly powered by caffeine and kindness. This place is a winner. Great vibes, top-notch service, and a location that makes you feel like you're on holiday even if you're just passing through. 10/10, would stay again!

Got a complimentary upgrade which was wonderful. Beth was very lovely and accommodating to our needs. Found the two rooms with no cooling a little stuffy at times, so provision of even some pedestal fans would be a great addition. I hope that we can come back next year.

A great location for walking to most of the attractions around the city precinct. Rooms were clean, comfortable and well suited to our short stay. The only negative was that the car parking space directly outside our room was taken by someone else and we had to park about 30-40m away. Maybe they should be numbered for each room.

The room was rather tired and in need of some renovations. The door was sticky and noisy when closing up. It didn't line up with the cost they charged. However, the location and in-house restaurant are good and strategically positioned. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The rooms are clean and modern. The hotel is in one of the best positions in Warrnambool. I would have no hesitancy in recommending a stay at this Hotel. Great ocean road not far, Port Fairy just up the road. Lake Pretrobe , literally just down the road, is a magic place.

We stayed in a Deluxe King Room which was clean and spacious. There was a kettle and toaster provided, along with plates, cutlery, glasses, mugs and tea/coffee. Staff were friendly and helpful (assisted in storing our e-bikes). Fantastic location - walk to beach, lake Pertobe and shops.

First this motel is the best place in Warrnambool it's great location near the train station it's about 5 minutes walk into town the staff are amazing I haven't been here for long time they know who I'm am they give me a warm welcome it's like family when I stay I do recommend you to stay here when you do you won't want to go home can't wait to come back

The bed was so comfortable and was a brand new mattress. The room was so spacious and very modern. Great location and staff. Couldn't fault the place, would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone going out there. Service was awesome and Couldn't fault it. The owners are great people and go above and beyond.

We have stayed as a family for three nights at Best Western Olde Maritime during Xmas 2024. It is strategically located at Warrnambool, a few minutes walking distance to Flagstaff Maritime Village, Lake Pertobe Adventure Playground, McGennans Beach, and town. Seeing the recently upgraded rooms in perfect condition was a lovely surprise. All in all, practical and comfortable stay. Thanks, Raj, for taking care of our luggage after the checkout on Christmas Day. Hoping to visit again.

I loved how easy It was to check in. I loved the modern updates and especially the shower with its satinjet shower head. I appreciated the original architecture (original bay windows) and the bistro table and chairs in the bay. The pillows and bed were very comfortable .

Our apartment was clean and comfortable. This accommodation is close to everything we needed including shops and a great playground for our kids to play in. We would recommend anyone passing through Warrnambool to stay in this accommodation.

Only stayed here for one night, as I was driving along the great ocean road. Check in was very quick, with really good reception staff, who gave me lots of advice regarding the town. There is lots of on-site parking, and the breakfast choices are great

The bathroom was modern and clean. Great shower head and hot water immediately. Fresh towels were available and they cleaned the room daily. The bed was comfortable with nice clean sheets. There was a TV with foxtel channels available and a small fridge. Some things showed their age like the door, but nothing that stopped the stay from being great. Easy 10 minute walk to the main street for eating and shopping. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Great location close to the town centre and other attractions a nice restaurant on site, the premises are slightly dated. Staff were great and mattress comfortable. Ants we prominent on the main bench in the room, shower head needs changing.

First rate restaurant and always a pleasant stay. Raj makes you feel at home. The bar and the staff are the best. Always like staying here when we're down for a competition. Rooms are spacious, modern and well equipped. Very competitive pricing.

An absolutely fantastic hotel. The location is great and so close to beautiful walks and an easy stroll into town. The rooms are lovely and spacious. We only stayed at the Olde Maritime Motor Inn for one night. The hotel is lovely, has good facilities and is centrally l locatied. The rooms were spotless and the staff were friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting Warrnambool.

We had completed our trip on the GOR and had had a full day of touring and exploring the road so were very happy to have booked the Olde Maritime Motor Inn to see they had a restaurant on site. We knew we were going to be ok as the large car park was full. Our room was spotless and the bed comfortable. The staff were friendly and accommodating too, I witnessed someone booking in ahead of us had just completed a marathon and wanted a ground floor room, the receptionist congratulated them and was genuinely pleased with their marathon success and immediately gave them a ground floor room. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was one of the best meals we had during our five week trip. I had the mixed seafood (can't remember what the correct name of the dish was) my husband had the strap of lamb and both were excellent. I fancied the coconut rice pudding for dessert but felt too full. The staff, Beth in particular, were very friendly and I said to Beth that I would have had the coconut rice pudding but felt too full she said you can have it for breakfast if you want. Bryce the chef came over and said that would be fine so I had the coconut rice pudding the following morning. Honestly this motor inn was a great find and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the accommodation AND the restaurant.

Raj was the most courteous and helpful manager we have met this road trip. Room was lovely, clean, plenty of space and very comfortable. Great steak sandwich too and cold beer in lovely lounge setting. Good laundry and parking. Good internet.

We had the most comfortable stay, with comfy beds and pillows, and an absolutely spotless family loft room. We loved our stay, the staff were so friendly, they're attention to detail and kind nature were so welcoming and we will definitely be back again.

Lovely clean room and bathroom. The bathroom products smelt amazing, soap dispenser in the shower would have been helpful. The only thing missing was a freezer section to the fridge. Close to town and activities Breakfast staff were friendly but the hollandaise sauce was kinda weird and not in a good way.

From the moment we called this motel til the moment we left, we were treated with warmth and given all the time in the world. Beth was exceptional; so friendly and helpful and the manager, Raj was a delight. The room, upstairs, a king room was wonderful and the restaurant was a highlight…gorgeous food and service. We stayed for 2 nights, extremely helpful when booking to ensure we had the best room, check in easy, room beautiful, spotlessly clean and newly refurbished. The Clovelly restaurant was a lovely spot to sit in the sun for an afternoon drink and the meals were great. All the staff were so friendly. We will definitely be back.

This Hotel is in the outskirts of Warinombool but easy enough to find. The young gentleman who checked me in was very polite and friendly. Our room was on the level and was spacious and clean, although the bathroom was a little snug, but functional. Once again the twin superior consisted of one medium size bed and one small, the actual owner explained that that's how Australias describe a twin room, but in the UK & States we'd expect the two beds to be the same size. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel, and I'm pleased to say we also ate there.

Very nice, clean, and spacious. We stayed in the family suite with mezzanine. Lots of room, cosy vibe, and seem to be newly refurbished. Netflix for both TV's. Beds are comfortable. No lift though. Receptionist was also friendly. If there is an EV charging facility would be better.

I was genuinely surprised. The room was clearly brand new and had honestly enough for our one night stay. The beds were comfy, the bathroom was great (maybe a little on the small side but totally worked for our family of three). The location was brilliant with a short walk to town and actually dinner. We would totally stay again!

There are a few accommodation options in Warrnambool however I cannot recommend this motel enough. The team are incredibly helpful (shout out to Courtney and Raj). Great location. Fantastic restaurant/bar. 2 bed apartment was perfect.

The room was very tiny and the bathroom was literally so small it was difficult to dry off after a shower. Worst thing was the bed. It was soft, saggy, and uncomfortable so we woke up tired every morning. We had much nicer rooms for less cost on the same trip. The location, staff, and service was fine but with many other accommodations available in the same area I won't go back.

The warmest welcome and friendliest stay in the area! A room is very much the same which ever motel/hotel you select, but getting a team that are so genuinely committed to the customer is rare. The accommodation and food was also fantastic, no hassles trying to find a supermarket or restaurant, simply enjoy the on site restaurant and bar. This is centrally located and of high standards in every way. Raj and the team make sure that you get all your requirements. We were part if the AHSDC car club and had a great time around Warnambool. Lots of nice restaurants and the sound and light show at Flagstaff hill(hop , step and jump from the motel) is a ‘must do'.

Great facilities and very attentive staff - our room was as you would expect, really nothing to complain about with very good beds and quality linen. Bathroom a little tight but fresh and very clean. Very quiet location just unfortunate that it was a very wet few days however again staff very helpful to assist with getting about Warrnambool, thank you.

This motel is first class all round. The service the rooms and the food all first class, we couldn't fault it. From the moment we arrive and checked in the friendly and welcoming . This is a must stay. You can't beat their service quality and location. One oof the best we've stayed in. We'll be back for sure.

I have stayed here previously and very deliberately returned when again in Warrnambool for business. This is one of the most guest-friendly hotels I have stayed in, with Raj leading the way with his affability, helpfulness and warmth. Check in and out is a breeze and nothing seems to be too much trouble. My heritage room was spacious, fully of character and well-appointed, if a little lacking in soft furnishings. Dinner in the restaurant offers a much better than average meal, with again, very attentive and helpful waiting staff. The quality of the pancakes I had freshly delivered to my door with a delightful latte for breakfast was outstanding. It is not surprising that, yet again the hotel was booked out (on a Monday night) when so many other hotels had vacancies. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. Warm welcome by super friendly staff. Plenty of room for our car. A la cart breakfast with plenty of choice and good! Room (studio for 3) was spacious and clean. Hotel is just a short walk to centre. Would stay again.

The two bedroom unit was comfortable, appropriately furnished and well located to town's amenities. The accommodation was perfect for our needs which is why we choose to stay there while in Warrnambool. The staff are helpful and l after our requirements when needed.

I was travelling alone for business and the staff member called Courtney was fabulous, she checked me in with a smile and remembered my name when I went to the onsite restaurant later that day for dinner. My room was clean and tidy with everything I needed for my stay, including a desk and plenty of charging stations. The restaurant food was delicious and very reasonable in price, the sticky date pudding is a must, absolutely worth every calorie! Greatly improved since my last stay fourteen years ago. Wonderful and friendly team, absolutely spotless room. Only complaint is that the renovated bathroom in the family room is a tight fit for larger adults and teens. Toilet paper holder placement only makes a narrow space even more precarious. This would be the only reason we could not return for a longer stay.

Staff were lovely but I was really disappointed in my room. The room was very tired looking and decor very dated. Walls need painting, carpet was frayed and it felt like the room was not very clean. I just didn't feel comfortable. Rooms need refreshing.

We've had a great stay here. We stayed in a family room with a mezzanine. Very large room, comfy beds, great location and incredible and friendly staff! We even got tips for the journey we would make to Adelaide. Breakfast was good as well. We would definitely stay here again.

I had a comfortable, relaxing, easy stay here. The location is great and within walking distance of most attractions. The staff were very welcoming and helpful except for one waiter who seemed to be more focused on being efficient than friendly. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom clean, but the window frames were dusty and some debris remained on the floor for all three days of my stay. It would have been nice to have some fresh air in my room: the windows opened but there was nothing to hold them open with.

Customer service was excellent, friendly and helpful. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. Up to date finish and very high quality food service. We had breakfast in the room and a dinner in the restaurant. The only thing that could have been tweaked a bit was the weather and though wet and windy there were plenty of sunshine patches to make an enjoyable weekend.

As an account manager servicing businesses in Victoria 10 months per year, I look forward to a nice place to stay in each town. I haven't stayed at the Olde Maritime for over 14 years and the place is still amazing. I walked in the door and was greeted with a big friendly smile from the owner Raj who remembered me for all those years back. I checked into my updated room overlooking the water and made my way back to the bar for a refreshment. Raj made a point of introducing me to the other people sitting at the bar who were visiting their customers in the area. I met a few clients in the casual lounge area then met with a family member from the area. We were intending to head off to a local restaurant but after looking at the menu at the "Clovelly" restaurant we decided to stay and eat and very glad we did. The steak I had was amazing and the seafood dish demolished by my family members was delectible. Outstanding service - great atmosphere in bar & lounge area, updated accommodation. Looking forward to staying there again & again.

Room was spacious and well appointed, foxtel service was great when on a wet weather timetable, shower was big and had good water pressure, bed was comfortable, rooms were quiet and location was great! The room was spotless, bed comfortable with ample space for a couple. Location was very central, we could walk to restaurants, cafes and bars. The breakfast in their restaurant was great, menu had something for everyone. Most of all the staff were friendly and helpful! Will visit again.

Stayed in the Budget Twin Room with my daughter for a weekend. It was small, but cosy, and had the comforts we needed. Clean room, nice bed linen, fresh bathroom, and handy additions (such as tea/coffee, fridge, bathroom supplies). We enjoyed our stay, thank you.

Glad we stayed here on our first visit to Warnambool. Friendly service, ample parking and clean rooms. The loft room is on the top floor via stairs. Nice view of Flagstaff Hill. The room was a little dark but otherwise ok. There is a microwave, kettle, fridge and toaster in the room.

Harbour master suite was large and comfortable. Close to attractions, beach and city centre. Bathroom was sizeable and the shower was large and appointed with full size toiletries. Check in was easy and the restaurant offered room service.

We checked into the Best western for 1 night with our children and we had a loft family room and it was perfect. It was clean, spacious, comfortable beds and good linen. We ate in their restaurant/ bar area and the meal was good and we also had breakfast included which was very good. The service we received was spot on too from check in to dinning. The room was ideal, a decent size and well equipped with all the facilities. As a business traveler WIFI is important and so is the noise. The WIFI was fantastic and very little noise was heard. However, I would like to mention the costs of dinner. Even though work would have paid for the meal, I just couldn't bring myself to pay $42 for Salmon and then pay extra for chips. I ended up at a pub where it was fully booked on a Monday night however, they managed to squeeze me in. Fish there was $29. Please re-visit your menu prices as I'm sure other like me would prefer to dine with you then walk down the street.

Ye Olde Maritime feels like coming home. I have been going there for 8 years and I often drive an extra hour when my working day is over just so I can stay where I know I will be welcomed and looked after. The rooms have been recently upgraded and the restaurant is always excellent. The staff are always helpful and welcoming.

Very comfortable rooms and offer a very relaxing atmosphere - very quiet. The meals are delicious and great value for money. Close access to town, short walk to the beach and many tourist attractions. Staff are very welcoming and extremely helpful.

We always stay at the Best Western Olde Maritime Motor Inn when we go to Warrnambool, we go every year to look for whales. Raj and his team do a wonderful job looking after us and making us welcome. When I used to travel to Warrnambool for business, I quickly found that Best Western Olde Maritime Motor Inn was the best place to stay, and we have been staying there ever since. I have been staying there for over a decade and would not stay anywhere else. They are simply the best!

Older style motel but very nicely renovated / rooms very comfortable nicely furnished Staff very friendly, helpful nothing seemed like too much trouble / asked if our room had microwave / it didn't but in a few minutes one was delivered to our room by a lovely young guy ( who also asked if we needed help with our luggage ) great location for us “walkers” will definitely stay again

Staff so friendly our room was great big and bright and a view .. Went to restaurant for dinner was lovely and welcoming . We stayed 2 night I enjoyed sitting by fire reading paper in bar and had dinner in bar following night. We didn't need to go anywhere else . We will be back . Once again, the level of customer service and hospitality at the Olde Maritime was outstanding. We are fast becoming regular guests at this hotel as the overall standards are so good, we don't feel the need to even try anywhere else when we are travelling through Warrnambool. Our stay this time was so good in fact, that we are now planning a holiday in Warrnambool instead of just travelling through as we usually do on the journey to/from Adelaide/Melbourne. We paid to upgrade our room this time, as we really needed a bit of pampering. The two-bedroom cottage was larger than our needs, but the cottage is equipped with a two-person Spa bath - oh my goodness what a treat! The cottage was wonderful, all the amenities you could need for a self-catering stay (which we don't normally do when we stay here as the Clovelly restaurant is also worth a visit and very reasonably priced). In fact, it was so well stocked, we rated it higher than the 4-star luxury accommodation we stayed in somewhere else in February this year. The queen bedroom we slept in was wonderful, quiet with blackout curtains, a very comfy bed and oh bliss a ceiling fan (thank you from the bottom of my menopause hot flushes!). Two lovely couches in the lounge area and a dining table that seats four comfortably, as well as the second bedroom (which we didn't use) with two king singles, would make this cottage ideal for either a family, or two couples, without getting in each other's way. There is a comfortable bar area next to reception, with leather couches and a fire, perfect spot on a cold afternoon/evening. The bathroom was bright and featured a separate shower as well as the two-person spa. The spa worked efficiently and provided muscle relief that was much needed. Olde Maritime is very well located with a walk on the beach, into town or up to the RSL for a meal all within minutes. The information provided in the accommodation was extensive and was partly why we realised that there is so much more to do in and around Warrnambool than we knew. A big thank you, as always, to the team on reception for the friendly welcome and flexibility regarding our change of accommodation choice, and a big shout out to the cleaning staff, every room we've ever stayed in has been spotless!

We were excited to learn more about the shipwreck coast, so we chose The Best Western because of its proximity to the Maritime museum and the centre of Warrnambool. We weren't disappointed - the room was very charming and cosy, and immaculately clean. My 13 year old son walked into the room and declared "I love this place!". We had great day trips, enjoyed the beautiful shore line and enjoyed local foods too. We were extremely happy with our unplanned little break, and highly recommend this place to everyone!

Comfortable beds, doona and pillows. Clean, contemporary decor, split blinds, noise reduction window pane glazing, daily cleaned, restaurant on site as well as laundry facility. Two smart large screen TVs in the split level family room but unfortunately one ceased operation on the second night but it was not an issue. No neighbour noise due to good building design and construction. Independent airconditioner also provided but didn't use it as the abode was solar heated via the seaward facing windows. Couldn't ask for more.

Fabulous stay! It was recommended to me by a friend and I am glad I followed through. Room was clean and cosy. It felt quiet and relaxing to walk into. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. Clean bathroom, fresh sheets. The bed was so comfortable and easy to sleep on. I chose to have room service to spoil myself and that's how I felt. The meals were delicious and appetising. I didn't want to leave. Raj and his team run very efficiently and really care. Highly recommend it and definitely coming back.

A really positive stay at the Best Western Maritime in Warrnambool. A warm welcome, and our 2 bedroom unit was spacious and had those little extras that a traveller really appreciates. There was glad and lunch wrap for picnics, a good selection of cookware and cutlery, and a washing machine and dryer. Breakfast was great - again such friendly staff, and a really nicely cooked eggs benedict. I would really recommend this motel. PS If you want a brilliant meal, go to the RSL just down the road at the roundabout. Fantastic!

The room was exceptionally clean and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was recently renovated and so clean you could easily have convinced me that I was the first person to ever use it. Very convenient location near Flagstaff Historical Village and great food venues. I'll stay here again.

The Best Western Maritime is in a very good area in the middle of Warrnambool, and is short walk away from shops, historic sights and the beach. It had a clean and spacious room and hosted good customer service. A pool would have been nice, but for the price it was more than comfortable. We will be back.

Easter weekend trip to Warrnambool with friends and family. The is an excellent hotel. Convenient location, clean and tidy rooms. Staff are warm & caring and went out of their way to make our stay a pleasant one. Definitely recommended to anyone looking for a getaway to Warrnambool.

Accommodation was great. The rooms were very clean and bedding comfortable. For being on a corner the rooms are quiet as well. The staff were all wonderful and very accommodating in all requests we made. We had vehicles taking up more space than you normally would and they were only too happy to keep them within the premises to keep them secure. Will be staying again next time we are in Warrnambool.

This motor inn is perfectly placed to be able to visit most places. We travelled by train from Melbourne via Geeling to Warrnambool. Cheap fares. 12-15 min walk to the centre of town, art gallery, theatre, restaurants & cafes. 5 min walk to the Maritime Museum (must see the permanent exhibition of the 1929 short film, filmed by a sailor in rough seas, sailing through the North Sea and around Cape Horne). Walk to the beach, Deep Blue Hot Springs - absolutely fantastic! Raj & his staff went out of their way to make our stay very comfortable, he even dropped us back to the station so we could have a little extra time to look around the art gallery before we caught the train home. Canadian family with us, just loved it!

We were part of a party of Rotariams in Warrnambool for a conference and we were fortunate our organiser chose The Olde maritime motor inn for our three day stay. The hotel is very clean, the staff are very friendly and the room that my wife and I stayed in was quite large and comfortable. We were located on the top floor and had to climb up a flight of stairs to the third level - there was no lift - but we were voluntarily helped with our luggage by a staff member. The restaurant was good, as was the food we ate, so overall a most enjoyable few days at this hotel.

Rooms are modern. Location is convenient, just a short walk to city centre, flagstaff museum, art centre and Lighthouse Theatre. Staff are friendly and attentive. Breakfast are cooked to order and the in-house restaurant serves great meals. If you are visiting Warrnambool this is great place to stay.

From the moment we arrived we were looked after, seven ladies from Melbourne away for a weekend! The staff couldn't do enough for us. They carried our bags to our rooms, checked us in early. The rooms were so clean and spacious. We had a great breakfast in the dining room too. Highly recommend.

As always it was a real pleasure to stay at the Best Western Maritime Motor Inn. The rooms are comfortable and beautiful. The service is magnificent, and the restaurant serves some of the bast food in Warrnambool. Thanks very much to Raj and all the other great staff at the motel.

Excellent Accommodation for Corporate travel or family leisure. Best quality/comfort beds i have used in regional Vic. Great location has Foxtel on the TVs and restaurant onsite. Staff are always friendly. Favorite place to stay in Warrnambool. 10/10

Stayed here after a day on the Great Ocean Road. What a great find! The staff were great and very knowledgeable. The rooms were clean and updated, and the restaurant was very good for dinner and breakfast. A really enjoyable stay in Warrnambool!

For over 500 a night I guess we hoped for something a bit more flash. The service was good in terms of making our beds each day but unfortunately the room wasn't very functional for our family. It was super warm in the upstairs mezzanine room even with the cooler going which would then make downstairs super cold there was no happy medium. Lots of stairs to climb to get to the room and then in the room more stairs again. At least we got a good work out each day. We dined in the restaurant service was good but again overpriced and underwhelming. Sorry guys but for what you charged us it was very disappointing.

Highly recommend this hotel. Staff were exceptional and no request from us was too much. Every time we approached reception we were greeted with bright friendly faces. Room was lovely with fabulous views. Centrally located to beach and eating venues with many choices.

We had a lovely clean room and comfortable bed. The motel was well located and central to everything. Staff were cheerful, efficient and very helpful. Breakfast was delicious. We would not hesitate to return next time we are in the area. Highly recommended.

The rooms are clean and fresh, beds are super comfortable. We also had dinner in the restaurant. Our meals were fantastic, i couldn't rate highly enough. There were lots to see and do close to the Motor inn. We loved the maritime village, and the descendants Maremma dogs from the Oddball movie. I will come back again.

I am searching for a review within my mind, I cannot find one to cover my thoughts, so, one word - FANTASTIC great staff, great food, clean room. I have stayed at the Olde Maritime Motor Inn for many years during my working life - nothing has changed.

This place was amazingly clean and had all needed amenities. Staff were so professional, helpful and friendly as well. The room was cleaned on daily basis which made it easy and worry less about towel and toilet papers replacements. You would always come back from a long day at the beach or hiking to a very clean and tidy room.

We were made to feel so welcome. Great room, Great meals and Courtney was the perfect host. We intend to come back and discover Warrnambool in the future and there is no doubt we will book at the Best Western Olde Marintime Motor Inn. We loved our stay so much we are going to give them 5 stars out of 5 !!

The accommodation was in a great location with only minutes walk to the town or the beach. Many of the attractions were also close by and easy walking distance. The hotel room was comfortable and quiet with modern conveniences and pleasant decor. Our room was cleaned daily and well stocked. Ample parking and easy access. Special mention to Courtney who was extremely helpful and provided many options for things to do and dinner places to try. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely use this hotel again.

Amazing atmosphere, Raj, Bron and Courtney always accommodate my every need. Clean, fresh, and spacious rooms, wifi is fast, big range of tv chanel options for kids to be entertained. Close to all amenities and restaurant attached has always got the freshest ingredients and welcoming staff. Always love staying here on business and leisure visits.

We only stayed two nights, however it would be easy to stay a week or more. With the very professional and friendly staff making you fell most welcome and nothing was an issue thanks to Beth and Simon especially our Dinner in the restaurant on both nights wonderful the Crispy skin Chicken a definite highlight, and the breakfast requests always met with a smile and can do attitude! Our room neat and clean and you can walk to quiet a few sights and shopping. Therefore if you want a wonderful experience in Warrnambool the stay at the Olde Maritime Motor Inn.

Rooms are spotless clean and the staff and cleaners are all so very lovely ! It's the only place we stay now when we come every February! The food at the Clovelly restaurant is sensational, one of the tastiest and best cooked Rib Eye steaks we have ever had ! Fully recommend

Great place to stay! We stayed in a family room for 4 which was perfect! Everything clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Would love to come back! Plenty of car Spaces to park, and just enough ammenities to have breakfast in the room.

We had a comfortable nights' stay. The room was spacious and well-appointed after a recent renovation, with a comfortable bed, great quality WiFi and a well-appointed bathroom. The included breakfast was very generous, we were able to choose whatever we wanted on the menu.

The rooms are very nice and clean, they are well equipped, the location is central but quiet , but: Highway police uses parking lot on Sunday 7.30 am for meetings and lets cars engines running directly in front of the rooms. I had to ask 3 times to be able to access the door of my car.

Room had a double and a single bed. Room was clean and very comfortable and the staff was super helpful. Breakfast was included in the price and there was a good range on the menu. It is not the first time that we have stayed there and it will not be the last.

Great rooms, great staff, great food... I have been coming to Warrnambool for work for years and found this place by accident just recently. Went to the restaurant and loved the meal so decided to have a look at the rooms and rates... Wish I had of found this place a lot earlier just so much better than where I was staying

The two bedroom apartment was modern, spacious and had all the amenities required for a family. Our 1 year old loved that there was a bath and the beds were so comfy that we had to stay another night! We will definitely be back!

I visited Warnambool with my support worker for a 2 night stay. Our room was clean, comfortable and newly renovated. The staff were amazing and made our stay very comfortable. The meals from the restaurant were exceptional! Very delicious thankyou. This motel is in a great location and a wonderful base to explore Warnambool. We will be back!

Very lovely and cosy room! Me and my partner were happy about the decoration and cleanness. Very quiet at night and ensured a good quality of rest. Just a few hundred metres away from the Flagstaff marine museum, and 10 minutes walk to the street with many restaurants, amazing location! I would love to book it again if I visit Warrnambool again in the future!

There is always a warm welcome from the staff. The rooms are very clean & comfortable without being over the top. The bar is cosy, a good place to read a newspaper with a flat white in the morning or a night cap at the end of an evening. The restaurant serves well crafted meals of a high standard. The room was clean, well-appointed and very comfortable, and the service on check-in was very welcoming, it felt like I had been there before. The restaurant and service were perfect, I highly recommend the steak.

I have stayed at the Olde Marritime Best Western motel in Warrnambool twice a year for about 15 years. I have always found the staff to be helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable with everything you need to stay for a night or a week. The onsite restaurant and bar are exceptional. The food is amazing as are the cocktails. Nothing beats sitting by the fire in winter after a day whale watching. The location is perfect for us. Once we drive to Warrnambool, we don't really need to use our car as most things are in walking distance. In all the years we have stayed here we have only had great experiences. I highly recommend this motel.

I loved the make up removal cloth.such a random, but thoughtful addition in the bathroom. Bed was firm , but fine. Room was really clean , as was the bathroom. No road noise, even though the hotel was close to the road. Easy walk to town.

Stayed for 1 night for business. Check in experience was very poor; I was in a large van and it didn't fit the height restriction on the main entrance, so after checking in I said I'd reverse out of the driveway and park on the street overnight. The check in person didn't mention to me that the property has other entrances without height restrictions. It wasn't until after I parked down the other end of the street and lugged all my bags to my room that I saw the additional entrances. Also nothing was mentioned to me at check in about breakfast which I paid for in advance. I asked the restaurant staff at dinner time but they weren't able to tell me specifics (such as the hours for breakfast) The room I was allocated was different to the room I booked, I ended up being put in a 2 bedroom unit and it wasn't as nice as the pictures of the premium queen room I actually booked. They mentioned tea and coffee facilities however their was no milk provided in the fridge which was disappointing. Also make sure you bring your own soap for the shower as none was provided. (Shampoo and conditioner was however) I will admit the room was very clean. Keep up the great work housekeeping team. I'll also touch on the restaurant, dinner service was a bit disappointing. Took 45 minutes to receive my mains, it seemed the kitchen was focusing on 1 table at a time and unfortunately the table before me was a large table of 8. Food was good once it finally arrived. I was going to get dessert but the servers were too busy chatting behind the bar and after waiting 10 minutes for one of them to ask if I wanted dessert, I gave up settled the bill and called it a night. Breakfast the next morning was much better, the server was very attentive and very friendly. The person who served me at check out was a million times better than check in and provided great customer service! All in all, I'd say this was an average stay and I will probably look elsewhere for my next stay in Warrnambool.

Booked in for business, cannot fault my stay or the staff. Was greeted at reception with a professional approach, smile and everything you want to hear when booking in. Room was fantastic and the menu sensational( the Rib Eye is a must.) The restuarant staff were respectful and very courteous. Highly recommend to stay here.

The room was large and well appointed and clean as you would expect. It was central to most things we needed as well. The highlight was dining at their restaurant the Clovelly. The bar was warm and welcoming, the Clovelly Restaurant provided great quality food and service. The rooms were very comfortable and clean, the bathrooms are 2 years old and looked brand new, would stay there again.

Very much enjoyed our 3-night stay at Best Western Olde Maritime Inn, in a well-appointed upstairs Premier Queen room - which included a delightful and bright bay window, facing green parks and the foreshore beyond. Breakfast was both sumptuous and delicious, and set us on our way for the rest of the day. Much to see in Warrnambool and the greater shipwreck coast region, with the well-established and informative Maritime Museum just across the road. Our stay was topped-off with superb service by Raj and his team, who made us feel like special guests - willing us to return. Which we shall, of course.

Our Heritage King room was very spacious and quiet, with a nicely appointed and roomy bathroom, and a very comfortable bed. Although we were on holiday and slept in, we received a courtesy phone call from reception to let us know the kitchen would be closing at 10am (we had booked breakfast with our room). The phone call was very much appreciated. We got there asap and found that breakfast was made to order, and we weren't rushed either (although we were mindful we had to let them finish service). The hotel is well situated - across the road from the Flagstaff Hill Maritime Village, and walking distance to pubs and restaurants. All the staff we interacted with were very pleasant and welcoming. The only drawback would be the steps from the carpark to the room. Not many, but be aware if your luggage is heavy.

We enjoyed 2 queen rooms next to each other (2 couples away wknd). We had everything we needed to relax and enjoy Warrnambool together. Location is central. The simple Beds were comfy, and seemed freshly lauandered, bathrooms were fresh clean and renovated. Everything was spotless! We would stay again.

Have stayed at the Best Western Olde Maritime in Warrnambool on quite a few occasions. We have found the room always clean and comfortable. Staff are always pleasant and very helpful. Upon arrival staff always make you feel welcome. Would recommend to others to stay here.

On arriving at the hotel we were greeting by 3 staff smoking, which wasn't a good start. The room was clean and tidy. Nothing wrong with the decor. But when it came to sleeping the noise from the road was dreadful, no efforts had been made to sound proof the windows. It seemed like we were staying on a local racetrack at times. Then once the car had finished around 1am! Water dripping in the bathroom started, drip drip drip. Definitely avoid any room facing the road, we were unfortunate to have been allocated it. Maybe they reserve the quieter rooms for contract workers that stay there? Like I said nothing wrong with the hotel, hopefully you'll win the room lottery when you stay

Fantastic location to everything that you need. Resteraunts, cafes & other shops as well. Directly over the road from the Maritime museum & other popular tourists attractions. We have been to Warrnambool seeveral times over the years, & although some other places might be more modern or even a bit cheaper, the Olde Maritime ticks every box. The rooms are spacious & very clean, they look like they have been recently renovated & are quite quiet. Raj is so attentive & comes across that he has been in the hospitatlity industry for many years. He dresses impeccably like a real professional concierge & comes across so friendly. Make sure you have the breakfast. It was so yummy & cooked to perfection. All in all a very comfortable & friendly stay. Will definately make this place one of our regular go to's when staying in Warrnambool. Will not dissapoint

This is the motel I stay at in Warrnambool the service is fantastic every time I come down from Geelong the staff are great the rooms are great this time I stayed in a apartment room the apartment is fantastic you have a washing machine a dryer a dishwasher kitchen is great it has 2 bedrooms too separate toilet and close to the shops

The 2 bedroom apartment we stayed in was excellent, clean, roomy and warm.. Self appointed kichen was there if we needed it. The bed was comfy with a tv in the room if you wanted to use it.. We stayed for 4 nights and if work permitted we would of stayed longer. We had breakfast delivered to our room each morning as were early staters and they were spot on for time and the breaky was awesome. We also ate at their restaurant and i must say the staff and the food went way beyond our expectations . Cosy atmosphere and all the staff from the owners to the wait staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anybody looking to stay in warrnambool .. Also walking distance to the centre of town if you needed to go there.

Raj and his team delivered outstanding service - accomodating several special requests with kindness and professionalism. They've really made the most of what would otherwise be a modest motel - adding little extras to make it feel like a 5 star experience. Immaculately presented, premium soaps, shampoo and conditioner, bickies and tea, superb restaurant on site (providing room service too) You must try Raj's signature breakfast! Everyone is so lovely and authentically friendly. Cannot recall having such a fabulous experience even in the poshest places.

Pleasant and considerate and they helped me when I had an issue to resolve They managed to fit me in when I needed an extension of my stay though they were full booked. I will be returning next week for another week.

An excellent experience every time. We visit each year for the May racing carnival but returned during summer for a family funeral. The standard is high in every way. Spotlessly clean rooms. Comfy beds. Meals were great and the bar is a wonderful meeting space especially when a big family are getting together. The staff are all very well trained , friendly and obliging. We had a very comfortable stay in the family mezzanine room for one night ( wish it was longer!). The host was very welcoming and friendly and check in was a breeze. The room was clean and spacious enough for a family of four A wonderful spot to stay and explore the town. We will definitely come back. Thank you Raj.

Stayed in a mezzanine style room. Only drawback was there upstairs area was hot with no way to cool it down. Staff supplied us with a pedestal fan promptly when we commented on it. Great location, fabulous staff, plenty of parking, will stay again.

Our family stayed one night at the Mezzanine family room. The front-desk staff was helpful, and the restaurant onsite would be convenient for grabbing food or drinks. Pertobe park and Flagstaff Hill are within a short walk. There was a New Year Carnival/Market at Pertobe park during our stay so it was super cool that we could just walk there without having to frustratingly look for a parking lot. We liked the room decoration; its vintage deco with the wallpapers made it feel warm and cozy. The laundry room for guests was handy because we were on a road trip and needed to do laundry on that day. The room was spacious enough for all of our stuff no we were satisfying with its size. My kids liked climbing up and down the stairs in the room because we don't have one at home. However, just be a bit more careful or make sure that the lights are on when walking down those stairs because the wood colour was a bit dark so I found the steps a bit hard to see clearly without the lights. The bathroom looks a bit dated, but it was spotless clean and I actually liked the tiles' design in there. The waterflow was strong and adjusting warm/cold water was easy. We stayed on the 3rd floor which has no lift access but it was okay for us because we packed our luggage light and small enough to carry them around. If there was one thing that I could suggest for improvement, then it would be the bedframes. The beds were on roller legs, so they would move when someone slightly lean on them.
