« Excellent hotel and staff service »

We were very pleased with our 4-day stay in this very clean, convenient to transportation and outstanding staff service of this hotel. Breakfast was very good and we would like to especially mention Gemma and Kumari for their attentiveness and service efficiency. They were wonderful! Bern was also very helpful in the Front desk. Thank you all for the wonderful reception....Keep it up! Would definitely recommend to friends.

    « Unexpected luxury »

We chose this hotel over other possibilities for our 3 day visit to Vienna because it had a slightly better price, but it was such a delightful experience, we would now return to it even if the cost were a bit higher than others. Our room was immaculate, tastefully appointed and extremely comfortable, the bathroom well designed and spacious enough with both tub and shower. The location is a quiet residential neighborhood with quick and easy access to all sites in the city by tram, bus and subway. The breakfast buffet, included with the room cost, is one of the best we've ever had: homemade granolas and mueslis, superb breads and pastries, several kinds of eggs, delectable waffles, delicious European yogurts (so much more satisfying than our insipid oversweetened yogurts in the states), cheeses, and a spread of meats and smoked fish. We were satisfied enough by breakfast to limit lunches to snacks and in the evening, when we returned to the hotel after a day of fabulous site-seeing, we had a range of restaurant choices in the area that were plentiful enough for our short stay, even though we are not meat eaters. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. We particularly enjoyed the comfortable seating areas on the ground floor. Only complaints were that our bed, though very comfortable, was made up of two twin beds joined by a single headboard, not the queen or king mattress we prefer, and it was hard to find a place for a drink or snack after 9:30-10 pm. But these were small drawbacks in light of an overall fantastic stay.

    « Wonderful accommodation »

Recently we spent two weeks at this wonderful hotel. We were upgraded to a larger room which we really appreciated. Excellent breakfast buffet. Very convenient location - about a twenty minute walk to downtown and a short walk to public transportation. Very helpful staff. Quiet. A very enjoyable stay! Heartily recommended!

« Many great things but some improvements needed »

First off, my husband emailed a couple of weeks before check in to ask if there was anything special they could do since we were staying there for my birthday. He heard nothing back. I believe he emailed them again. He asked at check in (he told me this later) and the receptionist said she had just read the email that morning. She left a bottle of bubbly in the room which was a nice gesture but I think my husband was disappointed. He would have gladly paid for decorations or something fancier. The dance theme was of particular interest since we work in the arts field but we found it a bit lacking. The room was a little squishy but beds were soft and linens nice. The shutters on the windows kept out the light and the noise. The A/C worked well. The bathroom was fairly spacious but the tub / shower combination was odd. The position of the shower head made for a tight space to shower in and even when careful, water still sprayed all onto the floor. It was also awkward getting in and out of the tub. Hot water and pressure were great; and we had washcloths which many hotels do not seem to offer. The WIFI was an issue. Every day, we had challenges (not connecting, disconnecting, and/or very slow). I received help three times and we finally gave up. The reception just kept telling us that some Apple devices won't connect easily to their WIFI. If that is the case, then they need a new system. We've been traveling 9 months (so the internet is our connection to home) and never have we had such problems. The location was good. Close to the tram and restaurants; although far from the metro. There were a couple of staff members who were awesome: friendly, pleasant, helpful, and always smiling. However, some were not. On check in, the male staff member in the dining room seemed overwhelmed until help arrived, then he was more pleasant. A few female staff members seemed to go on the defensive when I approached them about the WIFI. The two older ladies in the dining room were super intense and often very brusque with guests. One morning, I witnessed one lady scold a teenaged boy for putting something on the table he shouldn't have. She spoke very loudly to one guest because she mistakenly opened the door to the kitchen, and she was quite brusque when my husband tried to get his own coffee. Another lady seemed to be chastising the younger server (whom I really liked) right in front of other guests. I could go on. For a place called The Harmonie, it was a bit ironic that there was so much stress first thing in the morning. Saying that though, the breakfast food was delicious: lots of variety and all very tasty. The tea service in the afternoon was peaceful and greatly enjoyed. I think if some of the staff received more training and learned to relax more, this place would be a peaceful and relaxing place to stay. Management also needs to look at their internet issues. With these improvements, I would happily return.

« Tidy and efficiently run hotel »

We stayed in Vienna for two nights and we decided to go with Harmonie Vienna based on the positive reviews it has. The room was a bit tiny, but that did not take away from the overall good experience we got in the hotel. Room was tidy and well equipped and room service was spotless. The only fault was that the mattress was on the rather soft side, but that's just my personal preference. Breakfast was also good, with a good selection of hot and cold dishes to suit every taste. And coffee was surprisingly good!!! Rooms were also quiet and the hotel itself boasts a very nice lounge area where to sit down, drink and relax. All tastefully decorated with modern themes. We loved it. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation for staying in Vienna, and myself would stay again given the chance.

« A lovely hotel away from the city noise but close enough to everything Vienna has to offer »

A charming boutique property in a peaceful part of town with all the major Vienna landmarks within the walking distance. Great (organic) breakfast, nice staff and great property maintainance. The only soft spot would be the lack of parking possibilities - there's a parking garage just across the street but charges almost 30 euros a day.

    « very comfortable »

I liked the athmosphere and the good services (cake was not so the best but ok) the room was fine and clean, the breakfast PERFEKT and very unusual biological made. ............ hfkdkjfdlksajfkldsjflkdasjlfkdsajflkasdjflkjfdlasdjflkdasjflkadsjfslakö

« Fabulous, great location, amazing breakfast! »

We stayed at the Harmonie for two nights which was easy to travel to by CAT to the city and then the U4 for a couple of stops and short walk from there. We had a great welcome from a friendly and very helpful receptionist who confirmed our room was ready despite the fact we arrived early. The room was a great size, with a wonderfully comfortable bed and choice of pillows. The room and hotel generally were spotlessly clean, and well decorated. After an amazing variety of options for breakfast, we strolled for around 25 mins to the city, and returned late afternoon for tea and homemade cake at the hotel. Super easy to get to the main train station by tram with a tram stop just a few minutes on foot. Absolutely recommended!

« Room size like a matchbox. Long walking distance from city center »

Unlike the pictures on the internet, the room is dramatically smaller and a wall crosses it in the middle. Horror The distance from the city center is 20 minutes wallk and it is even longer time to use the public transportation.

« Amazing boutique hotel in Vienna »

I have only positive things to say on this boutique hotel, well located, modern design, nice lobby with cakes and tea time, room was big and clean, nice gym, one of the best breakfast had. would defiantly return again.

    « beautiful place »

Little quote boutique hotel not far away from the city center. I had emailed the hotel prior to our visit and asked if they could arrange something special for our anniversary , the staff were kind enough to upgrade us to a sweet room with a very lovely note greeting us ( will be kept in my memory box from the trip ). Very lovely gesture ! The staff is generally very welcoming and happy to assist you in any way , i would like to point out Kumari who made our mornings so pleasant during the breakfast. Very comfortable beds and pillows , i have forgotten last time that i have slept so well. Rooms are very well kept , i would highly advice this place for anyone. Would deffinately be coming back if i visit Vienna again .

« Quiet Hotel Near City Center »

The hotel is within walking distance from the city center. It is quiet, the staff is very friendly, and the breakfast is excellent. From the top floor you have a view of the Votiv church. The room was clean and big. Only the fitting carpet needs some freshing up.

    5
« Quiet Locale away from hustle and bustle »

This is a very nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The D tram drops you off about a block away. The D Tram also transports you to the area of many tourist attractions. I like that the hotel is away from the nosy and more expensive city center. There are less restaurant choices but I like walking in this quiet neighborhood. I felt very safe and had no trouble getting around. The room was divine with a soaking tub, frig, comfy bed, a/c, etc. The daily breakfast service in the lounge was excellent. You can't go wrong at the Harmonie.

    « Not in summer! »

This is a really nice hotel, conveniently located near the inner city of Vienna. Breakfast ist good, the rooms are spacious. But the a/c is turned down low during the night hours. In a typical hot Viennese summer when the walls are warm and heat the interior during the night this is not funny.

    5
    « A hidden gem »

Lovely hotel with very helpful staff, they were nice enough to give us an upgrade. Had an early check in which was great since we had a good 10 hour flight. Their breakfast was made special by one of their staff named Kumari, I would definitely come back to this hotel on my next visit.

    5
« Best hotel and service ever! »

Excellent in all aspects, I would visit again in a heartbeat. The room was EXTREMELY clean and new, all the staff were always with a smile on their face ready to help with anything. The food was great as well as the internet and TV services.

« Very nice hotel exellent breakfast »

We had a very good stay in The Harmonie. We had a large room with bath. The breakfast was exellent, everything you wanted was on the buffet. There was also sparkeling wine !!!! From 3 untill 6 you got cacke an tea for free, The negatief was the carpet in the room, and the last day the room was not cleand well. The left the dirty cup and did not change the toiletpaper.

Breakfest Great, even better without kids. Tip: kids under the age of 5yrs forbidden. Staff at the desk sweet and friendly. Make terras availible when good weather. Provided some summer sheets for the beds.

« Very good hotel with good breakfast »

Beautiful hotel in nice area, near city centre. All looks very clean and new. From the airport take the train (Schnellbahn) to Hauptbahnhof and then take tram D to Bauernfeldplatz, thats around the corner of the hotel. Very easy and very quick. We took a weekcard from monday to monday for € 17,10 per person, all tranportation within the centre included. When got back to the airport we bought a ticket for the outhercentre for € 1,70. Buy at a bigger station at the kiosk.

    « Fantastic Stay! »

I had a fantastic stay at the Harmonie Vienna. I was here for 9 nights on a University trip and then came back a few days later for an additional night. Location The Harmonie is in a good location. The area is quiet however is only a 5 minute walk from the city. Train stations are close by and it is easy to get to and from the airport with the CAT Train and the metro system. The tram stop is 100m away. Room The room I was in for the first 9 nights was a twin room. It was great. There was plenty of room for two people with two big bags. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were great. The bathroom was good too. The room staff did a great job cleaning our room and were efficient. When I returned to Harmonie, I was in a double room. This room was also great and the large bed was nice and comfy. Breakfast The buffet breakfast is fantastic. There is wide range of organic selections. There are waiters on hand to serve you tea, coffee, hot chocolate ect. Overall Nothing was an issue for the staff at Harmonie. I travelled to Salzburg for 3 nights and the hotel was more than happy to store my large travel suitcase whilst I was gone. Harmonie was more than happy to do any printing we required. When I return to Vienna, I will be staying in this hotel. I will also be recommending this hotel to my friends and family. Thank you Harmonie for a wonderful stay!

« Wonderful stay and easy access to all Vienna has to offer »

The Harmonie is a small friendly hotel in a quiet district of Vienna. 5 min walk from Underground/ team and a 15/20 min walk to attractions. The rooms are well equipped and very comfortable and the breakfast was a wonderful choice of hot and cold. The Staff are the STARS... friendly and helpful... we had one morning with a very busy service at breakfast but the staff efficiently organising the residents in and out and quickly moved us to the lounge and provided tea and coffee whilst we waited on tables to be cleared.. couldn't have asked for better... ??????

    « Thankfull »

It was lovely the room was so comfortable with everything you might need the staff were very kind and always there to help you the breakfast is an open buffy that included an afternoon tea with cake which is very relaxing so I would absolutely recommend staying in the harmoni hotel and I'll definitely come again while visiting vinna

    « Total Harmony! »

Everything about our stay was perfect. From check in to check out, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was immaculate, the breakfast exemplary and the afternoon tea and cakes were a lovely touch which we really appreciated. The whole team were friendly and helpful. Will definitely return when next in Vienna.

    « Absolute Gem! »

I had no idea what to expect when booking this hotel. Let me just say, we were beyond satisfied. Check in was easy with a friendly staff. The room was well appointed, super clean and new feeling. There were even chocolates on the pillow. Breakfast was included and was literally the best I've ever had during a hotel stay. We will go back next time we visit Vienna.

    « Charming boutique hotel »

There are three things I look for in a hotel for a quick city break. The most important is the bed. It must big, comfortable and provide me with a good sleep after a night out and a busy day ahead. The second is the breakfast buffet. Here I aim for healthy options that fuel me with energy and a lovely atmosphere to start the day. And last but most definitely not least, is the location. And the Harmonie Vienna boutique hotel ticked off every box on that list with ease. I've been to Vienna a couple of times already and do know my way around. The hotel is tucked away in a lovely little corner and hidden from all the buzz and rush of the city ? something I personally did love. From there you can easily access the busses, trams and subway stations and the area around the hotel is quite beautiful to explore by foot too. We also found various supermarkets and drug stores around the corner, which is perfect if you forget to bring toothpaste ? like we did.

    « Wonderful stay! »

Stayed three nights and just loved this hotel. Beautifully decorated, great room with comfortable beds and high quality pillows. Bathroom also newly renovated and very nice. Staff was very helpful with restaurant recommendations and help navigating the city. Tram 'D' stops just 1-2 short blocks from the hotel and it is very easy to get in and out of the city -- we purchased the 48 hr pass at Tourist Information at the train station). Take the Nussdorf (or Nubdorf) D tram to Bauernfeldplatz stop. Best part of the stay was the amazing breakfast buffet -- best I have ever had in Europe. I would definitely stay there again the next time I go to Vienna!

    « Great hotel »

Hotel staff were professional, helpful and always courteous. When asked for help they always provided. The hotel was clean and warm. The room was spacious and had all necessary amenities. Good location too: 1/2 hour walk into centre of the city.

    « Short Break »

Myself and my wife Stayed at this delightful hotel from 10-13 march (room 407). We found the hotel staff all very helpful, the buffet breakfast in the morning and the free tea and cakes in the afternoon were excellent. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the nearest tube station and about 20 mins walk from the heart of the city centre. There are plenty of bars and cafe/restaurants nearby, and we would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel, We would like to also thank the young lady on the front desk in the mornings who was very helpful in booking the hop on, hop of, bus for us, and we found she was always very pleasant (can't remember her name but she wore glasses).

    « Super nice hotel »

Stayed there only one night as I went on a short business trip. Hotel was really nice. Rooms were clean, decorated well and the staff is really kind. The organic self-service breakfast was delicious. Would definitely come back!!!

    « Bad service »

We really did not feel welcome. And we are not one of those picky couples who complain easily. The Harmonie was recommended to us. The website looked very nice. So we booked a suite. When we called ahead to see if we - due to travel plans - could check in at 12 noon already, the rather ?angry? answer was: No, we are booked out, 2pm the earliest. Ok. Whenever we met any staff member on the corridors, in the elevator, ... not one (seriously!) would say anything. Like ?hi? or ?how are you?. Silence. Ok. And the lady at the breakfast buffet (which is great!), was so stressed, she would almost push us to our table, not wait until we were finished ordering (could we also please have ... she?s gone). Ok. Breakfast is very good, rooms are nice, but oh the service ...

    « The Harmonie Vienna »

1st September to 4th September 2017 Junior suite was very comfortable. Breakfast was superb. (good options available for vegetarians). The hotel doesn't provide complimentary drinking water. Location of the hotel is another disadvantage as it takes us about 15 minutes to reach city center. The hotel provides tea and cakes in the evening which we could never have as most of the time we were out during this time.

    5
    « Weekend City Break »

We decided to visit Vienna for a long weekend. We booked the Harmonie after reading reviews. We were not disappointed. The staff were extremely helpful, breakfast superb and room bright and comfortable. The hotel is about a 5 min walk from the University underground station. Close to good restaurants and about a 15 minute walk from the main shopping area.

    « Harmonie is a concept »

I felt really cosy in this hotel! It is clean, the breakfast is exceptional, and the staff so friendly. I had a problematic situation, and they were so discreet. Location is good, a few minutes from the metro station.

    « Comfortable Experience »

Great ambience Helpful staff - friendly and replied to all my concerns Clean and comfortable rooms - didn't have an issue Wide-variety breakfast - many choices to pick from and they are all delicious Close to the city downtown - walking distance of about 20 minutes Quite area that can help in relaxing as well

    5
« Very good hotel not far from downtown »

A very good hotel with parking facility nearby, very clean, polite personnel and nice stylished. The rooms are nice and the bed very comfortable. The best moment is anyway, for me, the breakfast where you can find very good home made products, BIO juices and everything right to start the day in a proper way! For sure to be tried.

    5
    « Great business stay »

i really loved this small hotel. The rooms are really nice and clean. Breakfast was great as well. Location is OK, if you use the public transport than it takes around 5-7 to get to the subway, but it is a nice walk. The neighborhood is awesome for an early morning jogging. Overall a great experience and real value for money (even better if you are the best western loyalty program member as i am.

« A full 4 stars hotel with all necessary services »

Good rooms, well furnished. Super clean. Amenities have very good quality. Rooms are silent. Breakfast is rich and excellent in quality. The hotel is well connected with the city center thanks to the tram line D. The surroundings are pleasant. Personnel is very helpful.

« Amazing breakfast, basic room, clean »

Breakfast selection was excellent and seemed to vary day to day with new nice things to try. From local foods to English breakfast to toast, cakes, fruit, yoghurt etc, lovely bread too! Bed was super super soft so gave me a backache but cant please everyone! They have a small evening meal selection which sucked as its the same items as room service but if your in Vienna your not likely to be there to spend it in the hotel. Service was very good and theres this lady at breakfast that was sooo sharp she knew where all her guests liked to sit and what language to speak, amazing memory and her bosses at the hotel should thank her for that!

    4
« Nice hotel, small but cosy room »

I liked my staying there. My room was small and cosy and clean. I also enjoyed the included breakfast and you can also a have food free from lactose or gluten. Staff was quite friendly, there was only a problem with my reservation as I booked as 2 guests but they told me the have only one guest so I had to pay 30€ extra for the other guest's breakfast. Not sure about who's fault was, it might be a booking.com thing. However the hotel is nice but walking around the very centre I saw most appealing hotel. I wish I could stay there once.

« Fantastic Hotel with Great Service/Breakfast in Vienna »

I've been taking students on tours and traveling myself for years. This hotel is a bargain at any price. Location is near trams to downtown Vienna. Take train or taxi to hotel from airport. Service is outstanding. Staff at front desk and breakfast were so friendly and helpful. They helped my wife for hours with her cell phone issues. They helped book local concerts as well. Breakfast had so may healthy choices; pastries, fruit, juice, eggs and omelettes to order, great coffee. The afternoon tea/coffee and cakes was a very nice touch...found ourselves hurrying back each day for this! Room was large and very clean with nice shower and bathtub. Magical city at Christmas with markets.

« Great Hotel In Vienna! »

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We stayed in one of the smaller rooms but honestly didn't have an issue with it. The bed was very comfortable! There wasn't much room for our clothes out of the suitcases but we made it work! It was located about 1 mile from most of the touristy stuff but it is an easy walk. Being somewhat away from the crowds was actually great because we were able to find some restaurants close to the hotel and I can assume were less than those near the attractions. The breakfast buffet was good. The menu is pretty much the same every day and the scrambled eggs were a little runny for my taste. But the rest of the selection was very good! We were taken care of every morning and given the same table and the woman running the breakfast remembered our coffee order after the 1st day! I don't remember her name but she worked really hard to keep things moving and provide good service. She was off one of the mornings and the breakfast was definitely not run as smooth! The Afternoon Tea and Cake was such a nice touch. It timed well with coming in after a day of exploring. You could see everyone coming in from the day and warming up with a cup of tea. The room is such a great sitting room with comfy chairs. Overall we really enjoyed our stay in Vienna and at this hotel! We highly recommend!

« One of the best value/money hotels in Europe!!! Pros and Cons »

I was in this hotel seven times, and this is my third excellent review of this place!! Everything there is just flawless. Rooms are very good designed and stylish - good style if you want to taste Vienna hospitality. I recomend the second category of the rooms on the forth floor - they are 24 square meeters. Location if you are having a car is just extraordinary - you can easly park it just by the hotel! it is safe. Service is just perfect , starting from the small blac haired lady who leads the breakfast service and ending at the front desk menager - tall, black hairs and with glasses is such a kind and polite person you couldn't even imagine!!! He is like a guard of this whole flawless touch . Perfect place. Top of the notch!!!

We arrived from Budapest after 4 days in a 5 stars hotel and we had an amazing surprise, this hotel was oustanding. Rooms are small but very well decorated, very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and the service also amazing. Value for money is one of the best hotels we ever stayed

The Harmonie Vienna is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Staff very friendly and helpfull and the room was spotless, really enjoyed the buffet breakfast and afternoon tea and cakes was a nice touch. I stayed here for 2 nights. The room is spacious. The bed is perfect with a good selection of pillows. Very comfortable. Rooms are clean. Front desk and restaurant service was prompt. Location is close to the Stephansdom. Walking distance about 30 minutes to city.

« Great hotel for business stay »

Stayed one night for business and was very satisfied. Chose the hotel because its location was so central, with easy access to the main areas of town. The breakfast was excellent and the rooms were clean and warm.

    « Highly recommend »

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was very comfortable, staff were lovely, and buffet breakfast was great! It's a little bit out from the city centre (about 30min walk) but that didn't bother us. Thank you!

    « Quiet and clean »

We stayed for 4 nights early in December. There isn't really a lot to say about the hotel. It is easily reached from the city centre using trams, but drivers might find parking difficult. Staff are very friendly, and the hotel is spotless. Our Superior room was adequate, although a Standard room might be a bit small. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom well equipped. The breakfast is fine, although if you wanted a full English you would be disappointed. We didn't see bacon the whole time we were there. The web site refers to a "cosy lounge with bar and library", which is stretching things a bit. It is certainly not a 'cosy' area where you might want to spend an evening. Even the fire is just a TV image with no heat. The 'bar' consists of a cupboard from which someone from reception will come and get a bottle of beer and pour it for you before going away again. There is no bar as we would know one. The 'library' consists of a selection of books, as far as we could tell all in German. All in all an adequate hotel, although lacking in atmosphere somewhat. Would I stay there again? Probably not.

« Fabulous Hotel in a great location! »

Fabulous Hotel in a great location for the city centre and the Hop on and Off busses as well as the Christmas markets which were fabulous too. The cafes and patissere's were fantastic too. The free afternoon tea at the hotel was a bonus as we waited for our evening flight. Staff were very helpful. Room was lovely and very clean. All in all very good.

« Very nice little hotel »

Pretty little hotel. Peaceful and very clean. Lovely large room, very new and stylish with excellent bed and sofa. Tasty breakfast, nice lounge. A little far from the centre, a decent walk, but not a problem. Gym was small but the one multi gym machine was surprisingly good. I must say, in my opinion at least, the reception was not as welcoming or friendly as I had read from the other reviews. Maybe my expectations were just too high. Breakfast staff were great though. Overall a very relaxed and comfortable stay.

    5
« Nice hotel and excellent staff »

We went there with two kids and we had a wonderful stay. The hotel is not directly in the center but still near and in a good position. THe staff was very nice and helpful in arranging for us anything we requested and needed. Good breakfast Perhaps for 4 persons the room was a bit small.

« Lovely hotel for Central Vienna »

Stayed a few days to visit the Christmas markets, the skating at the Rathaus and some museums. Hotel location is great in a relatively quiet area. A couple of tram stops on route D and you are on the ring, with easy access to just about everything. Hotel is really comfortable and clean and the staff very pleasant and helpful. Free tea and cake in the afternoon. The bistro is a bit limited but there is no shortage of all types of restaurant in Vienna, so it hardly matters. Breakfast first class. We will stay there again.

« Perfect location for Christmas market at Rathaus »

Brilliant hotel, location and staff. Only 15 min walk from the christmas market at the Rathaus, and ideally situated near the Sigmund Freud museum, this hotel is perfect for couples. The contempory style and artwork based upon viennese dance and music is wonderful.

« Nice hotel; loud room near lobby »

I agree in general with the reviews left by others, and find my room to be nice. But I'm on the floor directly above the lobby, and my room is right next to an open staircase, and it's very loud. Conversations in the lobby and at the front desk echo up the stairs directly into the room all day and night. If they try to put you in room 101, keep this in mind.

    « Comfortable and quiet »

I was so glad to find a hotel that is quiet. It's a few blocks outside of the Ringstrasse, and I think it might be necessary to go outside of the Ring for a quiet place. It's definitely close enough, either by walking or via tram or subway. The room was super comfortable, good bed, friendly staff. The breakfast is excellent with many good options, quality baked goods, and good service from the staff. For the price, I don't think you can do better in Vienna.

    « Wonderful Hotel. »

I stayed three days with my family and four days by myself. The room was huge and well organized. The breakfast was very delicious and a variety of fresh foods. My kids really enjoyed staying there. The hotel is located very near public transport routes and in a very quite area.

    « 60th Birthday Treat »

Four friends spent weekend at this Hotel for my 60th Birthday. Could not have asked for anything better. All staff very friendly and could not do enough for us. Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, continental and full breakfast available. Lovely setting and close to underground or hop on off bus routes. Highly recommended.

« Provides an Excellent Stay »

Located in the city an amazing place. The hotel is very clean and provides a great service which the staff are very friendly and also very dedicated towards their guests. This hotel is highly recommended for both solo, family if for vacation or business.

    « Excellent hotell »

Everything is smart and up to date. The breakfast is first class as is the service. The room had everything you need from very confortable bed to hairdryer and a good array of clothing hangers (in many hotels the fact that even business guests need skirt hangers appears not to have sunken in - here I was very happy). Very quiet neighbourhood but centre only a 15-minute walk from hotel.

    « Birthday Treat »

We stayed for 3 nights for my Husbands Birthday. We stayed in a suite on the 4th floor. It was immaculate, clean, comfortable & very modern. The staff are very helpful & friendly. The breakfast is included in the price & offers a hot & cold choice very good. The hotel is located about a 20 Minute walk from the centre of Vienna which has many bars & shops. The sights are all within walking distance but we did use the tram which is the D tram which is around the corner from the hotel and takes you past the Parliament building, Voltpark & you get off at the Vienna State Opera. The highlight of the trip for me was the Spanish Riding School which is worth a see. I would recommend this city to anyone. Fantastic

    « Weekend break »

We had a lovely 3 night stay here in Vienna. The hotel is immaculate. The people are lovely and the staff are very attentive. The tea and cake in the afternoon is a lovely touch. The suite we had was large and the bed was comfy. This hotel was a great find. Good location within walking distance of the town. Whilst we were here we also did a day trip to Bratislava which was brilliant. What a lovely place and must do if you have a day free. We used the trams the buses and the train. All really easy to use. Fabulous weekend with friends in a lovely country. Also recommend Bermuda brau for the atmosphere (albeit a little smoky!).

    « Anniversary Trip »

Stayed at this wonderful hotel for 3 nights. Clean and new. Staff helped us with our luggage and provided a quick check in. 20-30 steps later and we were in our third floor room. Room was very clean with updated lighting, fixtures, electronics and comfortable beds. A terrific organic breakfast presented by an extremely efficient staff, addressing us by name! Christina and Marcus treated us as if we were the only guests there going above and beyond in helping us in whatever way they could. There were too many individual instances of wonderful service to list here. Afternoon tea and cakes in the ?study' was very relaxing. Loved this place and would come back again and again!

    « Fantastic stay 22-26 Oct 17 »

We had a fantastic stay at the Hamonie. Everything was absolutely perfect. The hotel is in a great location - quiet area away from the hustle and bustle of the city but only 10 minutes away from the city centre on the tram or bus. The whole hotel has an absolutely stunning décor, our suite on the 5th floor was lovely and very comfortable and very tastefully furnished. The bed was also very comfortable and the pillows were sooooo soft!! Service was excellent and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast too was superb with a fantastic range of choice. A nice touch is free tea and cake daily 1500-1800. There are also some nice places to eat in the area like D'Landesknecht authentic Austrian restaurant (the boiled beef is to die for!) and the Ragusa fish restaurant (pricey but great fish dishes). We can highly recommend the hotel and will definitely book it again on a return visit to Vienna. Peter & Karen

« Excellent hotel in Vienna »

Harmonie is very comfortable and nice hotel. Overall perception is brand new boutique hotel with fully equipped and clean rooms, pleasant and professional staff. Excellent breakfast with variety of choices, daily fresh smoothie, over 20 tea flavors... Top value for money!

« Nice hotel, good price »

You go to Vienna knowing that it is an expensive city. The Harmonie is a very nice hotel at a great price for Vienna. This is a very modern hotel compared to most places we stayed in Europe. The rooms are well pointed, comfortable and very clean. There is a good buffet breakfast included with the room. It is a little outside the city center, several blocks outside the Ringstrasse, but with the nice weather it was certainly within walking distance of the Rathaus, Opera and most of the city center sites. Its on a very quiet side street and is not far from public transportation. Staff was young, friendly and helpful. Recommended.

« Nice stay in Vienna »

The hotel is not in the best location, but it is still very convenient with the bus stop almost in front of it. The bus takes you right into the center of Vienna. If you don't mind walking, 10 - 15 mins walk could take you to the metro station as well. The room is super nice and clean, with a very modern look. The breakfast is extraordinary, you could order your coffee, tea, even a special made breakfast beside the breakfast buffet, that's unbelievable value. The sitting area and bar in the hotel is very cozy and well decorated. If I go to Vienna again, I will still want to stay in there for sure.

« PERFECT STAY IN VIENNA »

We are so glad we chose the Harmonie for our introduction to Vienna. Our stay in a Double Suite was for 5 nights. Our spotless room was beautiful with a separate sitting area, plenty of surface space, room for our luggage and our bathroom was perfect. The breakfast was delicious, fresh and plentiful served in a beautiful area, as was the complimentary afternoon tea. One of the very best things about the Harmonie was their staff. Everyone we met during our stay was friendly, welcoming and made us feel "at home". We would certainly recommend this hotel to others and hopefully if we will be able to visit Vienna in 2018, we would definitely stay at the Harmonie Hotel again.

    « Superb Hotel »

Stayed here for 3 nights with my daughter. Tasteful decor, spotlessly clean, all staff extremely polite, friendly and helpful. Best breakfast I have ever had in a hotel - so much choice and beautifully prepared and presented. Would definitely recommend and will stay there again next time i visit Vienna.

« Nice hotel in a beautiful city »

Good standard of English spoken by all staff. Clean and decent size rooms. We ordered a couple of drinks one evening before going out....we never got them! Nice touches on room with beers and local wine. Really reasonably priced too. We would happily stay again.

    « Wonderful »

We stayed for two nights for our quick trip to Vienna. Chosen based on other reviews, we expected a good stay. We weren't disappointed! The hotel is about a 15 min walk outside central Vienna which suited us just fine as it means local restaurants and shops aren't charging tourist prices. Check in was quick and the receptionist on duty was friendly and helpful giving us maps and info and offering to book tickets for all sorts for us. She noticed my date on birth and that my birthday had been the day before we arrived and wished me a happy birthday. Nice touch. Our room, whilst one of the smaller we've stayed in anywhere around the world, was definitely the cleanest. Comfy bed, good fridge, clean bathroom and great amenities. Can't complain at all. If I was staying more than a couple of days, I'd pay for a bigger room. A couple of hours after we arrived, reception bring up a bottle of Prosecco and glasses as a Birthday present. Great touch, now I'm seriously impressed with their attention to detail. The complimentary cake and tea in the lounge each day is another lovely detail that sets this hotel apart from others we've stayed at. Clearly the management and team get the ?look after your guests and they'll look after your profits' because when I'm here I feel more important than simply what I'm costing them. Good approach because this is where I'll be booking when we come back to Vienna. Breakfast is great and the service spot on. Plenty of choice and never runs out. Free WiFi is quick enough for FaceTime and the tv has a few English speaking channels. Overall, great hotel with great staff. Well done Hotel Manager and hotel team. I'm seriously impressed.

    « Restful Vacation »

The Harmonie Vienna lives up to its reviews. Lovely little boutique hotel that is immaculate in every sense with very attentive staff. The breakfast caters to all tastes and the dining room staff are efficient and pleasant.Everyone at the front desk were gems, always with a pleasant smile ready to assist. My wife and I had a restful 5 days and would definitely recommend the HV for couples looking for a break if you are in the Vienna area

« Lovely Boutique hotel great rooms and very good service »

We travel quite often so know a good hotel when we see one, and this is one. Beautifully decorated in an understated contemporary style, the rooms are spacious for a city hotel and tastefully decorated in lovely condition. The service from the reception right through to the restaurant was exceptional

« Very nice respite during our European trip! »

My sister and I stayed at this hotel for four nights in August 2017. It was the nicest hotel of the trip and was a welcome respite during our travels. We arrived in Vienna by train and the hotel is located some distance from the train station and outside the main tourist core. Fortunately, the number 2 tram (I believe that is the number) took us directly to within a block or two of the hotel without any transfer. So, it was very convenient. The common areas of the hotel are newly renovated and quite comfortable and impressive. The lounges reminded me of a large living room/library of a home. Very nice design. Tea is served (free) every afternoon, accompanied by a sweet that changes each date. Very nice. Breakfast is served in another very nicely designed area nearby. Very clean, comfortable and a nice design. The first morning I went down early to see if I could get coffee before breakfast. I was greeted by an Indian woman who was always working to seat people. I asked if I could get a cappuccino before breakfast. "No problem." She asked if I wanted chocolate and sugar and promptly served it to me to take to the lounge--before breakfast. The next morning, as soon as she saw me, she said "How about a cappuccino this morning? With a little chocolate and one sugar?" Very nice and personalized service. Breakfast was of good quality and good selection. Our room was very comfortable. I could probably describe it as luxurious. Everything was clean and worked well. Air conditioning was great. The bathroom was also new, immaculately clean and modern. My one concern was the bathtub, which seemed treacherous! The was high and was not easy for older people to get into. The tub narrowed at the shower end and you could not move your feet and it seemed very precarious to me, especially for older people. Overall, this was an excellent choice for Vienna. Although it was not right downtown in the tourist area, the tram was just a short walk away and it went to that area. The metro was also close by. The accommodations were excellent. It was a very nice stay.

« Very nice stay in Vienna »

Had a very pleasant stay with my family during a conference at the nearby medical university. We interacted with many staff members in various ways at the front desk and breakfast area, and they were fabulous, as good as I've come across in a long time ? uniformly professional, competent, friendly, patient, they helped us in many ways and really enhanced our experience in Vienna (service to the rooms was a shade spotty - we often seemed not to have a full complement of towels). Good quality and nicely varied breakfast, the area meticulously maintained. The tea and cake available each afternoon was a very nice touch. Hotel was in a nice quiet area, though food options close by are limited on weekends when most stores and establishments are closed. Couple of minor glitches: bathroom tap water in both our rooms was scalding hot (we were able to make tea from the tap!), and children could burn themselves if not prepared, especially as the ?hot? position is with handle pulled forward, the opposite of most fixtures in the US. And I often like to have TV on: among many available TV stations, all the English-speaking ones were either business or news (and, frankly, the news stations were inclined to portray negative viewpoints about the US ? which I don't necessarily have a problem with, except when that's all one can watch for a week, and is longing for a little entertainment) ? I wouldn't think it would be asking too much to have a station or two that showed movies or network shows in English just to help pass the time when needed (often we watched a Korean station with English subtitles just to get something other than news/business). But overall a really nice week here, I'm not sure we'll ever be in this neighborhood again, but if so I would be more than happy to stay here.

« NEVER take the taxi »

Coming from the main train station, we took a cab because we had luggages with us, and it cost €40!!! I don't know how, I was watching the meter the entire time, and I was google mapping it too to make sure he wasn't detouring, and somehow it was 40 when it should've been under €20 if we Ubered. I told the receptionist and he said the same thing happened to a guy earlier that day! :( Other than that bad experience, all in all this hotel was amazing and I would definitely stay here again. The breakfast was also 10/10, they pretty much have everything. The staffs and location were superb too, you pretty much can uber everywhere with around €6 (no kidding)!

    « Perfect! »

My husband and I spent three nights at the Harmonie. We loved this hotel! It was perfect in so many ways. To begin with it is located a short walk from the metro. We easily walked there with our luggage. From the hotel, you can walk to the city center in about 20 minutes. Our room was spotless and nicely decorated. The wall art was so unique. It was created by ballet dancers...it's hard to describe, but very cool. The room had a sitting area and a very large, sparkling clean bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and the bed linens crisp. The hotel is air conditioned so that was a plus. Each room has free secure wifi. There is also a coffee maker and an ironing board! Breakfast was amazing. It offered a large variety of fresh foods and breads. The dining area was lovely and the service outstanding. In fact, all the staff, from the housekeepers to the receptionists were outstanding. They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Other hotel perks were a fitness room and nice lounge. Honestly, I can't say enough about how clean and well-maintained this hotel was. It was run like a Ritz Carlton. I couldn't get over it. This is definitely the place to stay if you're visiting Vienna.

« Gorgous hotel with excellent service in Serviten quarter »

I stayed her for two nights with my mother for a weekend away. From check in to check out I can't fault my stay here. Breakfast was excellent, rooms wear very clean and nicely decorated. The hotel is close to amazing restaurants and within the beautiful Serviten quarter. Absolutely loved the complimentary teas and cakes in the tea lounge during the afternoon. Only two minus points: waiter advised on the evening at 9:30 pm that he wouldn't be able to fix a cold drink as he doesn't have ice cubes left?! Also called reception for a pillow from the pillow menu and receptionist did not know anything about the pillow menu. This was rectified later and I did get my pillow I had asked for. Nonetheless I would always choose to stay here when visiting Vienna.

    « A hidden gem in Vienna »

What an amazing hotel! Absolutely beautiful with everything you would ever need during your stay. Martin, the manager was so helpful as was Maria, the dining room manager. This hotel has an outstanding nbreakfast buffet as well as a complimentary tea from 3 a 6 each day. It is located 5 minutes from the tram that circles Vienna, so getting here from the main train station was easy, As well as Getting any Place in Vienna. You will love this hotel, wonderful, comfortable rooms, large bathroom, the decor was also lovely

    « Very good hotel »

Was very impressed by the overall quality of the services the hotel offers. Breakfest is delicious with a variety of bio foods and juices. The rooms are very clean and the beds are excellent. Location is very good, 10 min walk to votivkirsche. Definitely a place to stay with a medium budget offering excellent accommodation.

We stayed inTthe Harmonie Vienna for three days. Very modern and inviting place. Immaculately clean. The staff was very professional, friendly and helpful. Stayed here for 4 nights. In a quiet location but very handy for city. Walkable to main sights or really easy on the tram. We used tram a lot as it was hot when we were there. Hotel very clean and a wonderful selection of good food at breakfast. Staff very helpful. Julia booked our train tickets for us as we went to a concert outside vienna and organised taxi. Very relaxing environment, would definitely go back

« Lovely Hotel in a Quiet Location »

This hotel is a real gem. Quiet location but only a 15 minute walk from the heart of the Vienna. The rooms are a fair size, very clean and comfy beds. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Fantastic breakfast selection and complimentary tea and cake each afternoon in the lounge. Lovely place to stay.

« What a wonderful surprise this was.... »

When we booked the Best Western in Vienna we assumed it would be a perfectly adequate, clean place. What a surprise to find what seemed to be a 5 star property as nice as any Four Seasons or Ritz Carlton. Beautiful, immaculate and with a lovely breakfast that was included and a complimentary afternoon tea with a large selection of teas and nice cakes. Our room was lovely and the location was terrific. Can't say enough good things about this place.

« Great hotel with a great staff »

A wonderfully clean and well kept hotel not far from the city center. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially Tania, who will go out of her way to help you. The breakfasts are delicious. Everyone speaks English. The rooms are nicely furnished, but on the small side. Lots of hot water with good pressure. Internet access good.

    « Beautiful boutique hotel »

This is a very good hotel! I can recommend this hotel. It is located in a beautiful neighbourhood of Vienna. There are some restaurants close by. There is also a supermarket within 5 minutes walking of the hotel (Spar Gourmet). The room we had was of a good size and very clean, with a comfortable bed. There is a minibar, locker and an iron(board). The room has window screens, so it gets really dark in the room when you close the screen and the curtains. Excellent for a good night's sleep. We had breakfast included, which is very good. Nice products (hot and cold dishes, delicious bread, fresh smoothie every morning and biological juices). On request they can prepare you several egg dishes (the Puszta egg dish is delicious). The hotel has a small gym, but we didn't use it. From 15h until 18h the hotel serves free tea and cakes. The staff is very friendly. The hotel is in a good location, just outside the city centre. The underground (U4) is about 10 minutes walking, station: Rossauer Lände. Within less then 5 minutes walking you will find tram D, station Bauernfeldplatz. There is also a bus within 2 minutes walking (I forgot the number). Two or three (?) stops to the nearest underground station (forgot the name and line). The public transport in Vienna is quite good. If you come from the airport you can take the train S7 to Wien Mitte (Underground station Landstrasse). From there you can take the U4 and stop at Rossauer Lände. Or you can take the U2 and stop at Volkstheater. If you go outside you will find the stop for tram D (direction Nussdorf), get out at Bauernfeldplatz and walk less than 5 minutes to the hotel. It takes about an hour to get to the hotel from the airport (S7 to Wien Mitte is +/- half an hour). Some underground stations also have stops for the trams, but the names or not always the same. For instance underground station Volkstheater is station dr Karl Renner Ring for the trams. Don't forget to buy a ticket for the outer zone (€ 1,70), since the 24h/48h/72h tickets are only valid within Vienna Kernzone 100. They are very strict and you will get fined when you don't have a valid ticket. You can find the Obb office (to buy the tickets) at the airport, it is located just before you enter the train station. Vienna is a beautiful city with many interesting things to see: Schloss Schönbrunn (stunning view over Vienna from Gloriette), Belvedère, Museum Quartier with interesting museums, Naschmarkt and many many more. The pastries at Café Central are delicious! And yes, the sacher torte at Café Sacher is really good. Vienna, a city worth while to visit!

« Good place to stay »

The hosts of my Austrian trip booked me here. Its a nice modest place to be in. A four star hotel, it has some excellent breakfast, evening tea and cakes to offer its clients. The rooms are decent in size and good. The air conditioning was bothersome to me during my stay and it was not attended. There is a Sri Lankan waitress at the restaurant - Kumar, who greets every customer with a pleasing smile and if whether they would have coffee or tea! She helped me find my way into a bevy of non-veg dishes. The two day stay here was good. The tram station is near and so are some eateries, so its convenient as well.

    « Perfect stay »

Wonderful and welcoming hotel. Exceptional service, incredibly clean and had fantastic facilities. Onsite gym, laundry and a 24 store for treats or any essential amenities you need. A short 10 minute walk from the historic town centre where there is everything to explore on your trip to Vienna. Complementary Tea time was between 3-6 everyday where you could relax in the lounge and restock before going out to the city on the evening adventure. Delicious breakfast with a a wide variety of choice, we sat outside everyday and it was just bliss. The gym is as small but had enough kit to get a good workout in if the hiking around the town wasn't enough. It's a quiet area but that suited as fine as was nice to go between that and the bustle of the main centre as needed. Lots of delicious restaurants near by if you want to eat anywhere and the Danube canal is 10 minute walk. Would highly recommend and would stay again. Thank you

    « 2 Nights in Vienna »

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Best Western Premier Harmonie in Vienna. It was conveniently located within walking distance of the central city. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and professional. Our room was well equipped, clean, and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast buffet was wonderful and service was the best. The maitre d' even knew our name and room number when we showed up the first morning (never figured this one out). The local tram was right around the corner and we used it several times. The underground (subway) was only a few blocks. Once you get used to the central city ring, the transportation around the city is fairly easy to understand. We wish we had more time in this beautiful and historic city, and we'll stay at Best Western again. We all give it a thumbs up.

    « Superior Service! »

I can not say enough good about this hote! The entire staff were wonderful - professional, friendly and efficient. Markus, Stephan, Adela, the hostess in the cafe were all as accommodating as possible. The location was great. We were able to walk to everything or take public transportation, which was convenient. I was there under bad circumstances since my husband was hospitalized, and the staff made me feel so welcome and cared for. The rooms were spacious, clean and well furnished. Bathrooms were updated and elegant.

« Lovely Place to stay in Vienna »

The Hotel is located in a quite residential district within a block of a tramway stop and five minutes walk to the Ring - 15 minutes from the "old Town" center. A modern building behind an ivy covered facade it offers excellent service, very comfortable modern rooms, spacious bathrooms with separate shower and tub, excellent Wi Fi and a very good breakfast. Rooms at the back overlook a park :-)

« An excellent option in Vienna »

I stayed here on business during the first week of April. It's a great hotel in a quieter neighborhood that's within easy walking distance of the U-Bahn. The breakfast was high quality, with fresh fruit and an array of different choices. The rooms themselves are plush - they felt fairly recently renovated and up-to-date. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was nice. The staff was great - all of course spoke excellent English and seemed genuine in their interactions. They were great ambassadors for Vienna. All in all, if you are looking for a quieter hotel that's within easy reach of the sights of Vienna, I'd highly recommend the Best Western Hotel Harmonie.

    « Great stay »

This hotel made me forget I was out of home without my family: warm reception, genuine interest on the customer's satisfaction, good location, extremely clean, very good breakfast... Extremely satisfied, the desk staff is brilliant! Will stay again when back to Vienna.

« Comfortable & very welcoming boutique style hotel »

My wife and I stayed in this hotel from the 3rd-6th May. It was as we anticipated. The staff were very welcoming and always most helpful. The bedroom was comfortable and quiet but a little small-there are larger rooms on other floors. The location was just as we wished for-a quiet residential location, near a very frequent tram line (D) which brought us to the centre of the old city in just a few minutes. Near the hotel there were a few restaurants. The breakfast in the hotel was really superb and the complimentary afternoon tea and cakes was a nice touch. We would definitely use this hotel again and would not hesitate to recommend it to prospective visitors to Vienna.

« Top top comfort - so do ignore the horribly shrill woman giving orders at breakfast... »

Bed comfort is top class. The rooms are quite large and with really large and well designed bathrooms. View is of a very quiet street and when you roll down the external blinds the room is completely dark. The location is nice and very quiet - with some ok restaurants nearby. The breakfast is very delicious - so the only drawback is that the breakfast room is not dimensioned to handle peak hours. And the only true minus is the woman in charge of distributing people at breakfast: Maximum stressed out, servizing people in a manner that wants you to demonstratively slow down to walking and talking half speed of any normal. She is a horrible experience and as a previous guest has mentioned she terrorizes her colleagues with her stressed out high strung orders. It takes a lot of effort to actively ignore that creature - but it is worth it as the rest of the staff and the hotel is really top class.

« Modern clean well run hotel »

We booked a standard room but were given a complimentary upgrade which was a nice gesture. The hotel looked as if it had been completely refurbished and was immaculate. If you are not keen on minimalist, it may not be your cup of tea but it was beautiful - clean, brilliantly colour co-ordinated and spotlessly clean. Breakfast offered a wide choice, beds comfortable and bathroom well stocked.

« Nice hotel, stylish and sympathetic. »

My room was immaculate, quiet as requested. Shower and no bath, as I like it. Breakfast was very nice, lots of temptation. I love the free afternoon tea and cake, such a treat. Staff is very friendly, one little lady just a bit too ambitious to my liking ;-) She works at the breakfast buffet and leaves no chance for any other co-worker to help customers. She is rather loud, and is not far from being pushy. Sorry, had to get that off my chest ;-)

This was a lovely fresh hotel very tastefully decorated with dance themed artwork throughout. The staff were very friendly, helpful and spoke good English. The room we had at the back of the hotel was spacious and clean with windows almost the length of the room providing open views; it was also extremely quiet. The buffet breakfast includes organic products from the region and the service was faultless even during busy periods. It was also a refreshing change to eat in a pleasantly warm environment instead of the more commonly air-conditioned coolness. The only disappointment was that we did not eat an evening meal at the hotel as the menu was very limited. In short, a highly recommended hotel to return to after a busy day sightseeing.

    « Excellent stay »

Very friendly and welcoming. Very helpful reception staff. Excellent breakfast. Nice and quiet. Local neighbourhood felt very safe. No evening meal, but range of places to eat nearby. Comfortable room, and bed. Efficient housekeeping. We really enjoyed the free tea and cake in the afternoons. Very comfortable lounge with range of books to look at. Great location just out of the centre with range of public transport options, but easy walk as well. 30-40 minutes drive from airport.

« Nice Hotel on a Quiet Street »

A little bit removed from the center of the old city (located in Alsergrund), the hotel is a modern well-appointed choice at a modest price. It's very quiet. Our bathroom was large and equipped with modern fixtures including a wonderful shower with loads of hot water under lots of water pressure. The staff is friendly, courteous, and very helpful. The breakfast also is a very nice, European style, buffet. Free WiFi. My only quibble with this hotel is that the closet space is very small and inadequate for more than one person.

    « Great breakfast »

Comfortable quiet spotless rooms. Great location. The D tram is a 2 min walk away. The U2 is a five min walk. A really good healthy breakfast catering for all allergies. Wifi wasn't always reliable. A small but useful fitness centre. A few nice restaurants close by. I will be back.

« Great hotel, staff, and location »

This hotel does things right. The desk staff was uniformly friendly and efficient, with Stephan leading the way with helpful suggestions and kindness. The breakfast was great, with meat, eggs, cheese, two kinds of granola with assortment of seeds, nuts, dried apples, etc, fresh fruit, yogurt, and the most impressive selection of great breads and rolls we have ever seen. Variety of coffees and teas, fruit juice and smoothies, and a friendly and very efficient dining room staff. We stayed in Room 504, a Comfort room, which we enjoyed. Tea and cake/pastry every afternoon between 3 and 6 pm was an added plus. Located in a quiet area near the Sigmund Freud museum and about a 20 minute walk to the Inner City old town.

« Excellent place to stay »

Small comfortable stylish hotel in a quiet street and area. Lovely helpful staff who make your stay welcoming and put you at ease. You can help yourself to a decent breakfast or order a full English if you require one. There is a small shop by reception which sells drinks and snacks not cheap but something to tide you over if you arrive late. The hotel is quiet in the evening and there is not a huge bar to lean on. Bright and comfortable lounge area and a small gym is available for use. A free computer is available to use which I did to book a concert (with a little help from the reception). Location wise it is 20 minutes to reach the city centre on foot but you do pass some quaint shops. Turn left outside the hotel and in 100 mts turn right and that takes you to the city centre. Turn left and you come to an area where there are plenty of pubs and restaurants where we had excellent food and the tram stop (tram D) which takes you to the city centre. We prebooked a taxi from the airport for £27 which for a 35 minute journey wasn't bad. The hotel room was set out nicely (we were on the fourth floor) and I like the way the window shutters open when you enter the room and close when you leave. Don't expect exciting views but the architecture around is pleasant. I would have given this hotel 5 stars but in our room a cladding bolt was fitted to the shower tap which made it extremely difficult to turn on and off even for a bloke and also why was the hotel so warm? Would i stay again? almost definitely thanks Harmonie.

    « A hotel without being a hotel »

Third time have stayed at Harmonie: it is small enough to feel 'family' and best of all, does not have the artifciaql trappings of the big hotels - restaurants, pools, room dining - but dose have the best breakfast around. It is a proper European Hotel: intimate, private, central, cosy, quiet, artistic and clean.

« The perfect place to stay in Vienna »

A boutique hotel, elegantly furnished, located in a quiet part of town. Definitely I recommend it to those who want to spend a holiday in Vienna. The room was very comfortable, clean and nicely furnished. The staff was very polite and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Wi-fi could be improved.

    « Great hotel! »

We stayed a weekend with my girlfriends. What a great hotel! The breakfast is really nice with many choice, coffee, yoghurt and all healthy juices and many more. Definitely book the hotel with breakfast! The best stay of us is coming back to hotel in the afternoon after a long walk, hotel is offering a complimentary afternoon tea in the cosy lounge where they serve a selection of teas and a daily selection of cakes. I will sure stay here again for my next visit in Vienna!

    « 3 days in Vienna »

The Hotel absolutely great, rooms were clean and spacious, staff was friendly amd helpfull, I'm a pretty good location, most our Uber rides were about $3 to go anywhere, and we walked a lot to and from the hotel. Breakfast was super great, with great coffee and awesome freshly cooked option and free. I definitely recommend it. Beautiful and clean.

    « A Star in Vienna »

The Best Western Premier Harmonie is one of the nicest Best Westerns that I have stayed in around the world. Located in a very quiet part of Vienna, this hotel is modern, spotless and recently renovated in 2013. Leafy vines skirt the outside of the hotel and a warm parlor with bright colors welcomes visitors on arrival. Complimentary cake is served in the cozy library during the afternoons. The artwork throughout the hotel is based on ballet dancing and I was told that the owners are ballet fans. The lobby almost generates the feel of a theatre. Rooms are spacious with a full-size bathroom and my mattress was extremely comfortable. I slept well during my stay which is always a plus. Delicious chocolates welcome visitors and the room itself is tastefully decorated. The room includes a mini-bar and for those trying to save money on food, there is a Spar supermarket about three blocks away. The hotel includes a small gift shop for last minute gifts. Breakfast was delicious with buffet options of cakes, eggs, cold meat and cheeses, cereal (try the apple cinnamon muesli), breads and pastries. The hotel restaurant also has options in the evening including hamburgers, potato soup, veal goulash, spaetzle and chicken. Central Vienna is not far as the nearest U-Bahn station (Schottentor Universitat) is about a ten minute walk. Visitors can also walk to the city center without taking the subway, which is about twenty minutes to Stephansplatz. This hotel is in a residential part of Vienna and I felt a part of the fabric of the local community. The hotel is located near some unusual finds including a five to ten minute walk to the Freud Museum, a short walk to the gardens at the Palace Liechtenstein (if the weather is nice, try the outside bar in the gardens to sample local wines) or there is an actual chocolate factory nearby at a shop called Xocolat (address is Sevitengasse 5). Staff at this hotel are friendly and helpful and I found myself not wanting to leave. This hotel is a first-rate experience for anyone wanting to stay in Vienna and I would happily stay here again and again.

    « Fabulous »

Stayed here for one night this November. From the time we arrived we were give top treatment. The staff were friendly and funny. The building and interior were really lovely. I'm getting to the room I was really pleased. It was clean (I'm very fussy), tidy and had everything. The room wasn't very big but all we needed was somewhere to sleep. It had a hairdryer, iron, lovely shower and tea and coffee facilities. The next day we were able to leave our suitcases free of charge while we explored. It was perfect.

« A really excellent hotel in a great location. »

This was a hotel that I really liked as well as one that provided truly excellent and efficient facilities and services. The staff were all very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. Situated only a few minutes from tram, bus, and underground stops and then just a few more stops to the city centre. The room was outstanding with efficient air conditioning, free WI-Fi, automatic window shutters, mini-bar, and an extremely comfortable bed. There was a choice of pillows including top class goose feather ones, just as I use at home. Couldn't fault a thing from the moment I arrived to when I checked out. It was also very useful to leave my bag securely for later pick up on the final day of my three night break.

« Exceptional staff, comfortable and clean rooms. Excellent value »

I cannot fault this hotel. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful from reception to breakfast staff to room attendants. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. I had a long weekend sightseeing trip with my elderly mother and the hotel made the trip a delight.

    « Excellent Quality Hotel. »

We have just returned fro a three day break at this Hotel, . A very well run establishment, very clean and all the staff were very polite and nothing too much trouble for them. We had Bed and Breakfast , and chose to have the room service option, a great selection of continental breads, cheeses and meats , with great coffee. The bedroom was modern and the decor great. The bed was extremely comfortable. There is a restaurant with a limited choice of evening meals, and drinks from a small bar. The Hotel is situated in a very quiet side street a 10 minute walk from the centre of Vienna where there's lots of Historical buildings and plenty of restaurants and bars..There is a good tram service, and a hop on hop off tour bus, we purchased a 2 day ticket and received day 3 free. Well worth the money . All in all this is a great Hotel which very well run and well worth a visit.

    « October 2016 visit »

An excellent location you can walk to U2 and u4 underground stations within 10-15 mins, red route hoper bus stop is a 10 mins walk. A very good pasta restaurant on corner of harmonie street and very reasonable prices. Hotel is exceptionally clean and staff are very knowledgable and helpful, in the afternoon tea and cake are served as an additional bonus. Breakfast is a buffet style with tastes caters for would put it as superb and sets you up for the day in Vienna - would recommend the Vienna pass for all attractions and Hoppa transport

    « Wonderful Hotel »

Just come back from a 4 night stay at this hotel and would recommend it. Close to city centre in a small side street hotel is first rate. Rooms (suite) was fabulous. Buffet breakfast set you up for the day. Staff deserve a pat on the back all helpful

    « A wonderful hotel in Vienna »

Everything about this hotel was excellent. The cab from the airport costs about 43-50 euros. This hotel is extremely clean. Between 3 and 6pm they put out tea and cake, which was lovely and relaxing. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. They looked up train times for us and let us know times and deals (cheaper to buy tickets in the tabak shops in the train station). The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. One of our rooms had a rainfall showerhead. Air conditioning worked well. Breakfast was amazing and included organic items and smoothies. They also varied the food during the week, so that you don't get bored. You can also order coffee, hot chocolate, etc. Breakfast staff were also extremely friendly. There is a computer in the lobby for guests to use. This hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the metro and only a couple minute walk from the D bus. The neighborhood is quiet and clean. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

« Jewel in the crown that is the Harmonie hotel in Vienna »

My wife and I visited the Harmonie Hotel in Vienna for a half-term break, to say we were impressed would be an understatement..... from the start of our visit to the end of our visit the Hotel and it's location could not be faultered; its facilities; the rooms; and last but not least and most important to us the staff who were attentive in every detail. I have travelled the world and stayed in most five star hotels in Rome, Portugal, London to mention but a few, but none could match the standards set by the Harmonie Hotel as an independent Our bedroom was a dream with the level of cleanliness and the top quality of the linen and toiletries on offer in the bathroom. The selection of products on offer at breakfast was unbeliveable and to top it all the Best Western breakfast was heaven, the service was exceptional with no waitting time and tables reset as soon as they became vacant making them ready and available for the next guests At first my Wife thought the location would be to quite for us, but upon investigation we found lots of places to both eat and drink of a night time, all this plus only a ten minute walk into the city with trams and buses stopping close by. Would we visit Vienna again? Yes in a heart beat so long as we could stay at the Harmonie Vienna

    « Numerous stays a- always excellent »

I have stayed here many times over the years and it's just great. Everything is well done and the breakfast and location is excellent. The beds are soft and the service is great. The reception staff are very knowledgeable about Vienna.

« Lovely and welcoming hotel »

This hotel is a gem. it's immaculate, friendly, and well equipped. The room was sparkling, with nice toiletries and linens. Good wifi, free, and the breakfast is excellent. as others have said, it's a 20 minute walk to the centre - virtually in a straight line, through a very decent neighbourhood. It helps justify the tea and cake on offer in the lounge each afternoon. :) And the apple strudel there was better than what i had in a coffee house.

    « Great small hotel »

I won't be long but this is the best small hotel i've been in. We were three and we were all together in the superior room. It was great room, spacious and very comfortable. Regards to all of the staff of the hotel; very nice people.

    « Comfortable, Clean, Bright »

We stayed three nights here basing our choice on TripAdvisor reviews and we were not disappointed. Located in a quiet part of the 9th District, St, Stephen's is a mere 15 minute walk, the Ubahn 5 minutes away, and a number of good restaurants, markets, and tabaks within a stone's throw. Staff were very helpful and friendly; breakfast was included and well done with ample, good tasting fare. Hotel is light, clean and rooms very comfortable. No complaints at all, fantastic stay and will revisit next time in Wien!

« Very cosy Hotel in a nice district »

I recently spent two nights in this nice hotel - it is in the 9th district, that is very calm but full with good restaurant not crowded by the tourists of the city center - the atmosphere and the welcome is very warm - from the hall to the reading room and the breakfast room, all is small but perfect in a modern viennese style. I like my room, not a big size but just perfect with all needed amenities. Elegant, with a nice desk to work, small chocolates or toddies everyday to welcome a new day. The bathroom was big with a great shower and modern furniture. I also tried the fitness room on the ground floor that is small but has one machine for each exercise - the breakfast is fantastic, with a wide selection of fruit, cereals, cakes and desserts, breads, marmalades and jams, cold and hot food. Waiters and personnel are very warm and always present. I recommend this hotel to travelers who want to feel like at home and look for a warm welcome - 20' walking can be in the city center, so also location was perfect for me-

« Basic, but everything you need in a hotel! »

Hotel was clean, room was small but well appointed, and quiet. Location was within 3 blocks of several transportation options. They don't have a concierge, so front desk staff spent a lot of time helping people with transportation and directions. There was a computer off the lobby that could be used for printing boarding passes, making reservations, etc. Breakfast was very nicely done; many options in a small space. Only bad first impression was hostess at the restaurant - my husband came down to get me a cup of coffee and she was rude and didn't want him to take the cup to the room. She got nicer as the week went on, and one day packed us lunch, which was ready when we had to leave the hotel very early in the morning, before the breakfast room was open.

    « Best hotel EVER! »

We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights and we picked the hotel due to the great trip advisor reviews. We were not disappointed! The hotel is beautiful, very clean and in a fantastic location only about a 10 minute walk from the ring. The staff are very attentive and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are lovely, modern and very clean. The hotel has a very relaxed feel to it with a lovely lounge area where you can order drinks and sit by the fire and read papers. The breakfast was incredible with so many options including lovely coffee or prosecco to treat yourself for free. You can also choose to order a variety of breakfast hot dishes from the menu which are also included in the price and are delicious are served promptly. My absolute favourite was the cake and tea served everyday from 3-6pm. Everyday two cake options are available with unlimited tea and coffee to enjoy in the lounge. This was a life saver as I am 5 months pregnant so after a long day sightseeing this was just the trick! The wifi is complimentary and is a good speed, although I have to say sometimes I struggled to get a good signal when using the wifi in the lounge area. However I cannot recommend this hotel enough! If you are looking for a hotel in Vienna, look no further!

« Tasteful revamp of central hotel »

My wife and I last visited this hotel in 2004. Since then it has been transformed from a fairly basic tired hotel into an up-to the minute 21st century establishment. It is a fairly small hotel but has all the facilities one would want in a modern hotel. It has been beautifully remodelled and we could not fault it. It is a short walking distance from the centre of Vienna but it is very quiet at night (even in rooms at the front of the hotel). The staff are very friendly and welcoming, the rooms are fresh and clean and the restaurant provides good fresh food with an emphasis being placed on organic produce where possible. Generally fresh fruit and vegetables appear to be a low priority in Austrian cuisine! The breakfasts are well above average with a great variety and choice available. A great value hotel.

    « Super Hotel »

This is a really good hotel. Ok It's a good 20 minute walk to the city centre but there are plenty of buses and trams to get you there. It's extremely well furnished, quite luxurious in fact, the breakfast is excellent and the staff are very friendly and helpful (just like most people in Vienna). Would thoroughly recommend.

    « Affordable Luxury »

The personnel are all friendly, the rooms are exquisitely furnished, offers a large selection of food for breakfast, gives free coffee and tea in the room, there is an ironing board and iron in the closet (!),best of all, the hotel is situated in a quiet road, and not so far from all the attractions in Vienna like the Votive Kirche, City Hall, etc. Price is really affordable for such luxury.

« Excellent service & clean and comfy rooms »

We just came back from a wonderful stay at this hotel. It is in a quiet location, but just a short walk and ride to old town and all of the sites. The hotel itself is beautiful and the room was very clean and comfortable. What really sets this hotel apart is the outstanding breakfast and afternoon tea and the great service. The WiFi signal was also good in our room. Definitely recommend and would stay there again.

« Wonderful hotel would definitely stay there again. »

This is a wonderful hotel in a great location, it's about 20 minutes walk from the centre of Vienna. The staff are helpful and friendly and the room was clean, quiet and spacious, the bed was super comfortable. The breakfast buffet selection was also really good and we enjoyed a delicious evening meal which was reasonably priced. The facilities are great, there is a gym which we didn't use, and a small shop where you can get your free ice or purchase snacks and spirits. The mini bar in the room was well stocked and there are plenty of restaurants and cafe's nearby so you don't have to worry about going hungry. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

    « Love this place »

Great location a bit in a really nice neighborhood not far at all from the city center. Public transport "D" tram is a block away which conveniently takes you right downtown in ~5 minutes. Breakfast buffet is excellent and staff have been a pleasure. Room is also clean and very newly renovated. You won't be disappointed here.

« PERFECTION! My third stay here- no reason to go anywhere else. »

Beautiful cozy hotel, sparkling clean, well-trained helpful polite and friendly staff. The rooms and amenities are something to rave about. All the bedding is hypo- allergenic and not a chance for any dust- mites forming on the beautiful wooden parquet floor. You can open the panorama windows wide and breathe in the clean fresh air from the nearby park. Keep in mind that you will not be able to open windows at every hotel... And that's an essential factor if you happen to have breathing problems.so that's another advantage here. The breakfast was phenomenal. Great options for vegans and organic food lovers. I opted for the Japanese breakfast this time. Fantastic. Also consider coming to the free cake+ coffee/tea for guests in the late afternoon. I also love that the place is centred upon a dance theme, showing dance videos all over. This hotel truly feels like a home away from home and I'm happy every time i have the privilege to come here. Highly recommended.

    « Amazing »

We loved our stay here! The staff was very helpful and the rooms were comfortable and clean! The rooms were spacious and very modern. The breakfast was great and very delicious. « Excellent! »

« An amazing hotel with superb rooms and facilities. A real winner. »

This is the best hotel in our 8 city tour of Europe and ranks as one of the best in my travels across 65 cities in the world. The hotel is not in the centre of Vienna but is an oasis in Vienna after a hard days touring. It takes 20 minutes to walk in to the centre of Vienna, but best take the less busy Wasagasse rather than the bus route along Liechtensteinstrasse (unless you take the bus). There is a bus stop nearby but Google Maps did not work well with Vienna public transport. We used Uber rather than public transport, and most fares were €3-4, even from the eastern side of Vienna. The rooms are not huge but the facilities are impeccable and modern, and the decor is ultra-contemporary and pleasing. The hotel has so many pluses that I will not be able to cover them all, but to start with the rooms are superbly decorated and extremely comfortable. There is air-conditioning, a well appointed en-suite, comfortable bed, and large screen tv. There is also a minibar and tea/coffee making facilities. I asked for western style pillows and the maid arrived within minutes with a selection of pillows. The hotel offers a hot and cold buffet breakfast, with staff taking orders for tea, coffee or hot chocolate. If you are around in the afternoon the hotel provides free refreshments and cake. Check is perfect and the lift is modern and quick. Like other reviewers, there is the issue of the hotel not being in the centre of Vienna, but our experience is that we were glad we chose quality of accommodation over location. In our various sojourns into the centre of town we found the tourist throng something we were glad to escape from back to the hotel. This was a very pleasant place to stay in Vienna. If my review helps click the thumbs up below.

    « Family Stay 3.5 really. »

Very nice hotel with nice rooms. Fantastic staff who were helpful courteous and knowledgable. The booking in experience was excellent. Staff member deserves a 5. So why 3 overall. It's not near anything. Taxis are not ludicrous but nothing is near by and for this type of hotel you want to be near to what's going on. Fantastic hotel for business people where taxis are not cost prohibitive. For people travelling with families it is a long walk or taxi for anything.

A very comfortable hotel with a 5 star standard in one of the best locations in vienna. The amenities were very good and the room size was really big for a family of 4. The air conditioning was however not up to mark and it gets really hot and humid in vienna!

« Best choice in Vienna, for business or leisure »

We spent 6 nights in Vienna, discovering the city for the first time. All the good comments we read here were absolutely right. The location is just great: very quiet neighbourhood with good restaurants close, but 10 min walk from the historical center. the tea time is just exquisite, and generally the food in the Harmonie is fresh, organic, home made. The rooms are perfectly designed for a long stat and with good classy/modern style. But finally this is probably the staff we enjoyed most. Women taking care of the morning breakfast, as efficient and friendly and especially Christina at the desk : she helped us booking tables in the most crowdy restaurants of Vienna; her advices and kind attentions ( my birthday date was celebrated by a bottle waiting for us in the room ). She really made a difference and this is the best Best Western we did around the world: our stay and vacation wouldn't have been the same !

« Nice enough but there are better value options »

Friendly staff and nice clean & quiet room (once I unplugged the usual noisy mini bar). The décor is smart 'boutique' style, but you're paying a lot for it. You can stay round the corner in a room twice as big, for half the price (literally), with all the same functional benefits (including a good breakfast, better towels, and better wifi - though admittedly no afternoon cake). Maybe for a romantic weekend, the décor is worth it, but not on business....

    « Excellent hotel »

We arrived weary from a trying journey and were greeted by a cheerful receptionist who couldn't do enough to help us. They offer a free afternoon tea and cake in the lounge, which was very welcome. Our room was immaculate and the en-suite bathroom was well designed and spotlessly clean. Evening meal menu was limited but what we had was very good. Breakfast menu was buffet style with plenty of choice, hot and cold and freshly made fruit juice was available each day. The waiting staff were friendly and cheerful and spoke good English. Everywhere was clean and appeared to have been recently refurbished. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

« Brilliant hotel in Vienna city centre »

Would highly recommend this hotel! Exceptionally clean and modern hotel which is beautifully decorated throughout. The staff are all very attentive and friendly and cannot help you enough. It is located in a quiet residential street and we found it to be a great location for getting around Vienna by foot, tram or bus. The Freud museum is just a couple of streets away and for us just a few minutes walk. One day we walked to Stadtpark which took us 27 minutes. It is close to several cafes, a Spar and mini supermarkets! Breakfast at the hotel is the best hotel breakfast I've had. A bottle of water is provided on each table and there is a big variety of food and drink. We also ordered room service one evening and the food was very tasty (see photo!). Overall a very peaceful hotel located in the centre of Vienna! If we return to Vienna we will definitely be staying at the Best Western Premier Harmonie Hotel!

Everything from the hotel reception area and staff, to the room, to breakfast were all so so good. Our room was a bit small, but we were very comfortable. Nice comfortable hotel located in a quiet street with secure parking at 200m. Access to the city centre is either a 15 min walk or a short tram ride from the end of the street. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful, our room was spacious and comfortable and very clean as was the whole hotel. No hesitation in recommending this hotel and location.

    « Great find »

This hotel was a nice surprise in my short Vienna trip. Usually I went to Hilton plaza (my favourite in Europe) but decided to change last minute to join some colleagues which were at this Best Western. Pros - 10-15 min walk to city center is ok when you don't stay for long în Vienna and/or you're not there for extensive shopping. It's also healthy! - check-in is fast, all staff smile and greet you. - rooms are recently refurbished, bed is one of the most confortable I've slept in. - breakfast is ok, not a lot of variety but you have your regular options. Cons - first hotel for me where the bathroom was bigger then the actual room. I had a single, but still. Double rooms are instead well sized.

« Not a typical US Best Western. Much better! »

We absolutely loved this hotel! Modern, recently updated rooms with motorized blackout shades! ALL the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was just a killed. Didn't see so much food anywhere and btw champagne at breakfast! Their flyer with parking instructions is something you don't think you'll receive from a hotel. It has pictures in it! When we will return to Vienna this is the place we will certainly stay again. Highly recommend it!

« Nice clean room. The electric curtains make the room really dark. It helped me a lot to sleep well. »

The stall members are courteous everywhere, from the front desk to the breakfast restaurant. Nice room, modern and clean. Electric curtains make the room real dark. For a person like me which is seriously affected by the jet lag, this was a big plus, since I was able to sleep normal nights. The food for the breakfast is good and varied. Until now, this is my preferred hotel in Vienna

    « Excellent stay »

We stayed here as a family of 4 and the hotel room was able to accommodate us with one King and one double bed very nicely . The bed and pillow was very comfortable. The room was very clean and modern with all required amenities eg hair dryer, tea and coffee making, iron and board etc.... The breakfast buffet was delicious with both cold and hot choices. The lady at the restaurant was very hospitable and she was able to remember our hot drink of choice each morning. The staff at the reception was very helpful with directions and booking of taxi to airport (42 euros). The location of the hotel was convenient around 20 mins walk to the major sights in the city centre. There is a tram stop about 2 mins walk. Highly recommend this hotel when in Vienna.

« Modern, central, quiet, air conditioned. »

We had a superior room with king size bed and sofa bed. There was plenty of room, everything was near new and spotless. The bathroom was beautiful and a good size, also spotless. There is free afternoon tea (no coffee) each day. Breakfast had plenty to choose from. And it was air conditioned - a rarety in Europe but necessary when its hot and humid.

    « Really beautiful hotel »

We stayed for 3 nights in a bright, airy, quiet, very clean, comfortable room which overlooked a small residential street. The hotel is decorated in a dance theme, which seems to add to its air of tranquility. As the weather was warm, we were able to sleep with the windows open, which is much better than being enclosed in a hotel where the windows do not open because of the air-conditioning. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a great choice, with lots of organic food. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel - wonderful.

    « Design and comfort »

Design and comfort I love Vienna and I'm happy to have discovered this hotel. I've strongly appreciated the overall comfort sensation given by the combination of exquisite interior design, good quality products and accessories, functionality and friendliness of staff. Then there is the charming and calm neighbourhood, with elegant architecture and good restaurants, but out of tourists crowds (yet the Stephansdom, Rathaus and Hofburg areas are reachable by walking). The nearby garage is a plus when travelling by car. We've loved this hotel and we'll be back in August. P.S. In order to improve the functionality of the rooms, I'd suggest to take off the boards and irons from the wardrobes as they occupy now half of the storage space in the rooms: few people need the boards and iron (and could ask for them at the reception) but all the people would appreciate some extra storage space.

« Great hotel, quiet location »

Excellent hotel, benefitting from extensive refurbishment completed within last couple of years. Superior room on top (5th) floor had plenty of room and all the facilities we expected, with efficient but quiet air-con. Very efficient WiFi across the building. Easy check-in. Breakfast included, with ample selection of continental breakfast with some hot food on the buffet and others available to order. Staff were helpful providing fresh milk for the bedroom tea/coffee facilities. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant service in the evenings (it does do a limited room service menu) but they have recommendations for local restaurants or the city centre is a few stops away on the local tram (Line D). Gym is available, limited facilities but better than some.

« A perfect place to enjoy Vienna »

The hotel's website shows a very interesting and pleasant environment and this was absolutely our experience. The staff are exceptionally kind and helpful. Highly recommended along with the City of Vienna.

« Excellent choice in Vienna »

The room was lovely! Very clean, nicely appointed and the bed was oh so comfortable. The breakfast was very good, with a great selection of food and the servers were very friendly. Access to public transportation was great. The U4 and the D tram were both a short walk away. We had some confusion with our transfer to the main train station, but the front desk supervisor was quick to remedy the situation for us. We will definitely consider booking this hotel again when we next visit Vienna.

« very comfortable hotel in quiet suburb with easy access to centre of vienna »

Very clean and comfortable room. Staff very helpful and pointed out nearby sights and transport to city centre all whilst speaking excellent english. Delicious well presented breakfast, with good variety. The one evening meal I had at the hotel was Ok, but not to the standard anticipated. Free wifi would occaisonally drop out in room.

    « A comfortable hotel »

My family recently visited Vienna and stayed at The Harmonie Best Western. We were a bit nervous as our hotel in Prague was a bit dodgy and we were crossing our fingers for a better experience in Vienna. We were greeted by a bright and clean entry and very friendly staff. Upon entering our room we were pleasantly relieved to find a clean and comfortable room with amazing beds and air conditioning. The bathroom had plenty of counter space and and wonderful shower bath combo. Every thing felt clean and well maintained. The outdoor shutters would completely block out the light and the incredibly comfortable beds provided us with a peaceful slumber. The morning breakfast on the outdoor patio was delicious. Plenty of options and more than pleasant service staff made breakfast a delight. Besides the fully included breakfast the hotel also offered a tea and snack between 3pm and 6 pm. This was a welcome reprieve in our busy site seeing day. We were so impressed with our stay and the wonderful staff that we would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a very welcoming stay.

« First rate hotel, away from the centre of Vienna »

First rate hotel, away from the centre of Vienna. Comfortable quiet room. Very clean. Magnificent breakfast. Very helpful and friendly staff. Calm atmosphere. Afternoon tea/coffee in lounge (no extra charge), with cakes.

    « Excellent staff. »

As with any hotel chain you can fairly guarantee the amenities that you will get in any part of the world and this hotel is no exception: comfortable ane well equipped. What stood out for me were the excellent staff. From the receptionist to the waitresses all were unfailing polite and extremely helpful. The receptionists in particular were quite charming and had the good grace not to patronise me for my phrase book German! The breakfast was an absolute pleasure!

« Viennese, with some yoga »

It is more Austrian style then the hotels I am accustomed to. You can feel it especially at the breakfast, which is served in the Austrian way, and in Austrian tables. The rooms are nice and modern, the only negative point (but please consider I am Italian), we don't have a handle where to put the hand towel.

    5
    « Adorable Hotel & Delicious Breakfast! »

Super colorful and cheery lobby and breakfast area with nice and helpful staff. The location was a bit of a walk into the heart of town but the tram was located steps away from the hotel for when you didn't want to walk. Breakfast options were delicious and included loads of fun coffee and espresso options. Our room was spacious enough for three girls and a very comfy third bed/cot. Would definitely stay there again.

    « Friendly Hotel »

My husband and I stayed in this hotel on a recent trip to Vienna. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Beautiful decor and very clean throughout. Our room was tastefully decorated , normal tv, air con, fridge, hairdryer, etc but also benefited from electric window shutters. They not only keep your room cool in the day but keeps it lovely and dark at night. Was particularly impressed with the cleanliness of the bathroom and the nice big comfy bed. There was a choice of pillows, which all made our sleeping very restful. Breakfast was served between 7-10. There was a choice of cereals, breads, cheeses, hams, smoked salmon, eggs, sausage, bacon. Yogurt, fresh fruit, organic fruit juices, smoothie, you could even help yourself to a glass of sparkling wine! In the afternoons between 3-4 the hotel offered tea and a choice of 2 cakes to help yourself to. In the evening you could sample a selection of wines (a charge for this). Would definitely stay here again.

    « Beautiful hotel »

Stayed for three nights with family. It is located on a quiet street, but just a twenty minute walk to the city centre. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. On arrival, I requested a change in the two rooms they had allotted us. The lady at the reception immediately helped me with rooms of my choice. When the breakfast supervisor realised we were vegetarians, she cooked up an extra dish everyday (without us asking for it). These small things separate the very good hotels from the rest. Rooms are very clean and well maintained. Breakfast spread is also excellent with a lot of fresh, organic stuff. A beautiful hotel in this wonderful city. Highly recommended.

« Perfect stay in Vienna »

This was our first visit to Vienna with our three year old son. We had a fantastic trip which was enhanced because of this wonderful hotel. We chose the hotel based on the reviews received on trip advisor and were extremely satisfied with our choice. Since we were traveling with a child we booked the superior room. It was very spacious with a decent sized bathroom. We adjusted seamlessly primarily because the bathroom had the same fittings/ WC / shower etc which we have back home! The staff at the front desk were extremely helpful, courteous and looked after all our needs. Every concern of ours was well addressed. The airline lost our stroller and Bettina was kind enough to give us details of stores close by where we could rent strollers at a nominal price! The best part was the location because it was in a non touristy area so one could get the real essence of local Vienna with wide choice of restaurants and shops frequented by the locals. At the same time it is just 20 mins walk to the city centre and all other tourist attractions. The breakfast too was quite extensive with some great coffee! Once the housekeeping staff knew that there was a child in the room, they stocked it up with baby bath products which was a sweet gesture. This hotel is highly recommended for anyone visiting Vienna and we would definitely stay here in our next visits!

« A Respite Away from the Crowds »

This hotel is just outside of the old city center; easily accessible by tram and bus (2 minutes) and metro (7minutes walking). Excellent restaurants are close by. Charming neighborhood. The Freud House is 3 blocks away. That said, the hotel is modern in design, recently renovated. My room was large and airy. The entire staff was pleasant and always helpful. Breakfast was complete with an extensive buffet and special orders of eggs any way you'd like. Afternoon Tea and Cake was an added bonus.

    « Excellent »

Great boutique hotel near the centre of Vienna, just a few min on foot from the Ring Strasse. Located in a peaceful area, extremely clean, nicely decorated with the art of dance being the main theme. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the food was of very good quality. Would recommend and visit again :)

« Attractive hotel in a quiet side street »

This hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the city centre, or you can use the underground. We did a bit of both & found the walk interesting & the underground easy to use & reasonably priced. The hotel is attractive externally with greenery draping over the front & it is situated in a quiet side street. We loved the free breakfast, which was a good selection of hot & cold food. The free wifi was a bit slow, but ok. We also liked the fact that you could have complimentary hot drinks & cake in the hotel lounge every day between 3 & 6pm! There were tea & coffee making facilities in the bedroom, as well as an iron & ironing board. Both the room & the ensuite shower room were a good size & we only booked a standard double room. We stayed for 3 nights & had a lovely long weekend in Vienna.

« a real haven from our very touristic schedule »

great welcome; clean, quiet and comfortable room; bags of hot water; excellent breakfast; afternoon tea and cake provided daily; arrangements made and confirmed for us... New city = many apprehensions but the team here relaxed us and helped us make our stay a real treat - thank you to ALL the team working at this Hotel. Inspirational artwork! Full marks, except for one really minor point, so let's get picky - we do not like square bathrooms basins!! you can't use them as well as regular ones. It's a design fad which we don't like.

    5
    « So quiet!!! »

We spent 4 nights in this hotel. Everything was perfect : room, bed, bathroom. And the breakfast!!! A pure wonder! I can recommand this hotel with "shut eyes" as we say in French! Extra for couples, not far from the centre.

    « PURE HARMONIE »

If you are looking for a conveniently located, well appointed hotel with excellent service look no further. Located within minutes of the Ring Strasse, an underground station, a tram and a bus stop it is hard to upstage the location. Needles to say there is also a local Taxi company and Uber. Despite this the location is calm and restful with a selection of local shops and places to eat. The room was was, bearing in mind that the Harmonie is a Best Western Premier Hotel, well appointed with all the standard items plus some. Even a selection of pillows which is a very nice touch. The quality of the fittings stands out and the bathroom is particularly good in both space as well as fittings. The room was so clean that my Grandmother must have cleaned it. Bed linen and towels were changed daily and apart from having to ask (once) for extra milk there is nothing negative to say. This attention to detail was reflected throughout the hotel and is a credit to the management. Breakfast was included in our room rate so it had been expected to be sparse. IT WAS NOT. The breakfast selection, food quality and service were excellent, even when it was particularly busy. As we had an early morning departure a breakfast box was offered so that we could start the journey knowing that we were not committed to eating rubbish food at the airport. There is a small on site shop stocked with a good mix of items and the staff would be able to advise where to purchase other items. Just occasionally good service is found in Europe's hotels. The service throughout this stay of 5 days was exemplary from the minute we arrived at 23.20 to our departure at 6.15. The hotel provides a comprehensive service for restaurant, theatre, museum, under and above ground travel etc etc bookings, as well as the general advice that certain travellers require. Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel but as always is much stronger on the lower floors. However we carry 4 devices which all connected effortlessly and the speed was more than adequate. If arriving by car I would suggest contacting the hotel prior to the visit to make arrangements.

« Harmonie, almost a perfect melody for Vienna »

Almost perfect with a caveat*** at end of review. Wing Commander always picks a neighbourhood in any big city which includes independent baristas and unique restaurants popular with locals. Harmonie was perfect in this way. Plus super friendly staff, excellent breakfast, nicely appointed room surrounding by art, and designed by notable architect. ***The caveat*** All good at hotel except a big caution on 'their canned' restaurant suggestions. Restaurants recommended are on hotel map plus in hotel hard copy promotional book ... permanently marked. Warning ... the restaurants etc. helped pay for this promotional literature. Please consider MY suggestions for easy-walk excellent eating establishments. Booking.com and Best Western have asked for a review and here it is.

    « Really great value! »

    « Good hotel »

Good hotel, not far from the center, rather convinient and simple. Me and my friend really enjoyed to take a tram to come to the city. The staff working at the hotel was very helpful with everything. And breakfast was absolutely the best thing with the hotel! I can definetly think of staying there again. The only dissapointment was our taxi ride to the airport. As we had a very early flight to catch on our way home we were offered by the hotelstaff to book a taxi to us. Apart from the fact that it was rather expensive a taxidriver was horrible and rude to us, driving som en madman and scaring us to death! This highly unpleasant journey almost spoiled our wounderful impressions of the whole trip, so I hope that the hotelstaff will make a serious consideration upon offering their guests to help with booking a taxi via this certain taxicompany they cooperate with.

    « Family Stay »

Amazing location, very easy to get to from the airport or the train station, taking the metro or the tram D. The service was excellent. Breakfast was amazing and so were the ladies who took care of our 2 daughters every morning getting their hot choclate. This breakfast has organic eggs, meat, pastries, cheeses, fruits, smoothies, nothing like a Best Western breakfast in north America. Well worth a place to stay and enjoy. We sure did !!

    « Harmony in Vienna »

This independently owned Best Western is a hidden gem in Vienna. A bit off center but well connected with public transport it has been renovated not to long ago and offers very comfortable guest rooms. The check-in staff is nice and helpful and they can point you to separate restaurants within walking distance as the hotel has no restaurant for lunch or dinner. They serve an excellent breakfast, however, and tea-time in the afternoon. The hotel gives you a feel to be in a family-type place which makes it very pleasant. The name (which is deducted from the location - Harmoniegasse) truly reflects the spirit of this hotel.

« Very nice hotel!! Very satisfying service and breakfast! »

The hotel is very nice. We were very satisfied. The service and the hygene of the hotel was great. Everybody was very hardworking and the team of the service was very well organised. The rooms are big enough to stay comfortably. The bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast was the buffet and there were many options. The place of the breakfast was very cleaned and very well designed. The hotel offer you the tea time between 15.30-16.30 free. You can find hot drinks and the cakes which was housemade and local tastes. They were very delicious. And we become very satisfied with the service which is provided us free. The location of the hotel is close to subway, you can reach there in ten mins by walking. Also you can take the bus or tramway easly in front of the hotel. It is close to the historic center of Vienna, you can walk there in ten mins. I absolutely recommend the hotel to acommadate in Vienna.

    « Excellent boutique hotel »

What a surprise this place was. It is a small walk to get downtown but well worth it for the cost and quality. Our room was quite small but very comfortable with all the usual amenities such as a small fridge, tea and coffee facilities. The mini bar was well priced. Breakfast was served in a light and airy spotlessly clean lounge. There was more than adequate selection of items. Between 3 and 6pm there was tea and cake served in the lounge which was lovely. I usually book Hiltons however I could not justify twice the cost for no real advantage! Would definitely stay here again.

What a lovely hotel. About a 15/20 minutes walk from the city centre. Delicious breakfast with a lot of choice. Large rooms and the afternoon tea was an added bonus after a long day walking. Would recommend anyone stay here. Reception were helpful suggesting restaurants.

« Excellent hotel with Very Good service - Highly Recommended »

The hotel located not far from the center, about 10-15 minutes by foot. Hotel itself is lovely, it is very clean and very attentive hotel with a staff that desire to help and solve any problem you might have. When we got to the room, it turns out the room has only a shower rather than a bath. I asked from reception for the possibility to get a room with a bath. As the hotel was almost full and there was no rooms at the level we ordered, we received a larger room at no extra charge. The food at the breakfast was excellent and although perhaps not a huge variety, but has all the needed ingredients, especially as the products are organic (for those, whom it matters). We will defiantly consider staying again, on our next visit.

    « A warm welcome »

A great stay here with the best reception staff. They couldn't have been more helpful. I enjoyed the dairy free choices at breakfast (soya) and the organic fruit selection. The shower was powerful, the sustainability statement was fairly advanced and the decor was attractive. I wish the duvet wasn't made of duck down as the process of obtaining it is unpleasant. I will stay here next time I am in Vienna for business or pleasure.

    5
    « Excellent all around. »

The staff were fantastic; we'd accidentally booked the wrong date and they were very kind in revising our booking. The room was clean, quiet, and very well-equipped. The breakfast was lovely, particularly the small glass yogurt pots with edible flowers! I would very happily return!

    « Outstanding Hotel »

I stayed for 5 nights with my son and we both loved this hotel. The rooms were always clean as were the hotels public spaces. The breakfast was excellent with a wide range of options available. The near-by metro stop means Vienna's main sights are only minutes away.

    « OUTSTANDING! QUIET,COZY,CLEAN,ORGANIC,GREAT SERVICE. »

This was my second stay here. This is why: Location-The hotel is located on a quiet side-street,far from the madding crowd, yet very close to the centre of town, which is within quick and easy reach Service-The staff is well-trained,professional,friendly yet unobtrusive.I want to point out one person in particular,Mr SIKAN, the friendliest and most helpful reception manager I have ever encountered. On arriving,he informed me that I have been upgraded,as a returning guest.Wow! The Rooms-As it is a relatively new hotel, everything is still in perfect working order and clean, clean, clean.Important:The materials used here in blankets, pillows etc.are hypo-allergenic.So if you're sensitive to dust-mites or other allergens, this is the place! The beds are the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on in a hotel. The Breakfast Room- Amazing organic buffet.Anything your heart desires, from the delicious organic fruit and veggie juices to the delectable specialty of the day. Besides, any special culinary wishes, such as glute-free bread etc.will be attended to.I want to point out the dedicated and friendly Ms.Kumari who is most helpful. Not to forget the pleasant and relaxing lobby,"gemuetlich",as the Austrians would say.where complimentary tea and cake are offered daily at tea-time. I think I'll be returning.........

We have never been to Vienna before so it was very exciting that we could book to go from a Airport not to far away from where we live. When we arrived at the hotel the reception staff were very friendly and helpful and very informative about the city and gave us a map. The hotel was very clean and tidy and very modern loved the decor. All the staff were extremely friendly in the hotel and so helpful. Breakfast was excellent at the hotel they had everything there that I could think of and it was all fresh. I especially loved the prosecco at breakfast time nice touch. Excellent hotel would definitely stay again.

We arrived on the 29th Feb and were greeted by a very friendly and informative gentleman at front desk, we were given local information and checked in. The rooms were spacious, clean and well equipped. The pillow options were a nice touch. Breakfast was always a hit with continental and hot options. Nothing was too much bother for the staff in this hotel and I can't praise enough. We would stay again and definitely recommend. Thank you for a great holiday.

« Hamnony and Harmonie - Great hotel »

Excellent service and great and silent rooms. The hotel gives a high level of luxury for a reasonable price. Everything is perfect and seamless - from check-in, over free afternoon tea and cakes to high standard of the interior. A nice details is the many power outlets and amenities in the rooms. Shutters towards the street gives a high quality of sleep in most comfortable beds. A bit narrow selection of the breakfast menu, but well cooked and professional presented.

« Beautiful, Clean, perfectly located »

Public areas are elegant and comfortable, with free tea and cake during the afternoon. The location is some 15 minute-walk from the centre and Main metro stations. Rich, organic breakfast. Beautiful room, Very Clean and big.

    « First-rate cosy hotel »

I had a great experience at the Harmonie. The hotel is very modern with a homely feel and one of the comfiest beds I've slept in. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly - I got a cheery hello without fail when walking past reception. The breakfasts were delicious and tea and cake in the afternoon was a nice extra touch. The hotel is not bang-in-the-middle-of-town if that's your main criterion but it's only a short (maybe 10-minute) walk to get on to the Ring Road or there's a tram stop just round the corner. Would definitely stay here again if I return to Vienna.

« Where to stay in Vienna »

    « Loved it »

This hotel was very modern and cosy. It is very central and just a minutes walk away from bus stops and tram stops so we could see all the sights easily. Vienna is beautiful at Christmas time. the service was great and we even got a birthday cake and a bottle of champagne. my only criticism would be that for a family of four, the room was a little on the small side, but still comfortable, apart from that we all absolutely loved our stay and I would highly recommend it!

« Nice and cosy stay in Vienna »

    « Great night stay »

Whilst travelling abroad I generally look for a Best Western to stay in, simple fact is that you get the same level of comfort from country to country. The hotel has recently been refurbished, which made it look very clean and modern. I was greeted as I approached the desk the staff are friendly and extremely helpful, when I asked for some outside the hotel to eat at I was handed a map of the area, and asked what type of cuisine I wanted. The room is comfortable the bathroom clean, and the bed is just right for me. I would happily stay here again.

+ Good location, nice cosy deco and atmostphere. - Rooms are small for the category and price. -Service is dreadful from welcoming guest to any request, save for a very efficient and adorable lady at breakfast. Receptionist are downright unpleasant and borderline disrespectful. Warm water forever to get to the you shower and you get a "you need to wait longer" as a reply. If on week end, park on the street, it's free in most places. Overall not keen to come back.

« Excellent hotel for a relaxing holiday »

I stayed at this hotel for three nights with my girlfriend. We stayed in the superior room which was very spacious, had a comfortable bed, a modern and large bathroom and was tactfully decorated. There is really nothing at all to complain about - the staff were very friendly and helpful, even providing us salts for the bathtub; there is a cosy lounge area with free tea and cakes in the afternoon, it's close to public transport and walking distance from the city centre. For those who have fussy sleeping habits you are able to choose your own pillow from a pillow menu, the room can be pitch black if you want it to, and the area is very quiet. You can even opt to have a smaller late breakfast until 1pm, you just have to let reception know the evening before. Overall they helped make the weekend as relaxing as it was.

« Perhaps a franchise, but this is a Boutique style hotel with wonderful personal touches »

Outstanding service and wonderfully comfortable rooms and public areas. Never have I had such wonderful service in a hotel. There is nothing too difficult for the staff at the Harmonie and they made my stay a pure joy. The beds are some of the most comfortable I have slept in and the public areas and breakfast are also simply wonderful. I would like to make it very clear that although this hotel is not in the city center, rather in a quiet, residential street, it is only a short walk from the ring road, which, once crossed, IS already part of the city center. The location is not the best point of the hotel, but I also would not go so far as to say it's a drawback. It's quiet and as I said, has easy access to the city center. Besides, true locals in Vienna walk everywhere anyway! Thanks again to the professional, helpful and always friendly service of the staff. They really are an asset to the hotel.

« Bang for your money! »

This hotel's location wasn't as convenient as the hotel Sans Souci, but it located near the D-line light rail station (deustch name). The D-line passes through most of the major tourist attractions, so this served us well (plus we never had to wait longer than 5 mins for the train). This Best Western didn't have the superior level of customer service (i.e. doorman greeting offering to take your bags), but you're not paying for that level of service with the Best Western. The premises were clean and had a decent atmosphere. Amenities included with your stay at the Best Western include access to the fitness center, breakfast in the morning, and tea served with cakes in the afternoon. The fitness center is extremely limited, if you're looking to do cardio this fitness room will suffice. If you're looking for anymore of a rigorous workout, you'll have to find a nearby gym. The hotel offered a decent food spread for breakfast, it was a buffet style spread ranging meats, cheeses, eggs, cereals, and pastries. Sparkline wine was available (slightly flat at the time of serving) as well as varied coffee services. Afternoon tea was decent, I think I had some form of poppy cake? I'm not really sure, and it didn't taste that great. Overall, for the price you pay for the hotel it's a good deal and would recommend to others.

« Well maintained, modern and comfortable 4 star hotel »

Situated in a quite suburban Vienna street the hotel is modern, clean and new Our online booking was dealt with in a straight forward fashion and communications with hotel were dealt with effectively and efficiently Check in was straight forward and friendly. The rooms are reasonably large and although our room type was not available for what we originally booked we were all comfortable as we shared the room with our daughter. Considering the hotel was fully booked over the New Years Eve time frame we never felt that the hotel was busy except over the breakfast time The rooms are modern and very clean and house keeping do an outstanding job. The only gripe we had was the showers which are located inside the bath which is never the same as a stand alone shower. The beds are very comfortable and guests are able to order different types of pillow depending on their requirements Breakfast was the usual European and American styles, however the area for the food needs to be relocated as it is constantly jammed due to the set out. The food is primarily organic which is a bonus and very tasty All in all we were very happy with our choice of hotel in Vienna and would recommend the hotel. It is a 10 minute walk to the U Bahn

    « Comfort and service »

This is certainly an outstanding hotel - >I did not expect the service level. Although associated with a chain the service is personal and impeccable. Very friendly and knowledgable desk staff. The rooms are nicely renovated in a modern style and the bed was extremely comfortable. Certainly a special place in a city where hotels can vary greatly in quality. will definietely come back.

    « Just wasn't blown away...but definitely a good hotel »

Everything was nice about this hotel, it's clean, it's convenient and super ordinary...the best part about our stay was the pillow menu (which was awesome). Rooms are average, decor, average...everything you would expect from a Best Western. Which, for my fellow Trip Advisor junkies, might be exactly what you're looking for! This isn't for the adventurous, eclectic, funky traveler who's into how "well" or "thoughtful" things are done. It's a great bet for the safe traveler, who doesn't mind that the front desk has no idea where to eat, or what's poppin' in the local neighborhood. They will however, make a reservation for you after you've spent 30mins on trip advisory trying to find the best spot to enhance the fact you're in Vienna. And oh...there's lots of shampoo swag, just not any soap...which was weird.

    « Perfect mid-level hotel »

The Harmonie Best Western is a great lower-budget hotel, near to the center in a charming neighborhood. Clean, modern rooms, good internet, very good breakfast and helpful staff. No complaints at all, and an excellent value. Only reason its not five stars is the general lack of amenities (no pool or fine restaurant), and location (which is close to, but not in the center). Recommended for anyone who doesn't want to spend 250-400 euros a night at the Kampinsky or similar.

« Very nice hotel, 15 minutes walking from the center »

We spent 3 nights in this hotel with my wife during Christmas time. The overall impression is great since the place is very clean, modern, and at the same time cosy. The staff is smiley and helpful, the tea time during which (15:00 - 18:00) it is offered free tea and a variety of pastries is well appreciated and the breakfast covers most of the tastes without being the best you have ever tasted. The lounge area with the fake fireplace is the place where the tea is saved and it is a nice area to spend some time For the room I can only comment for the comfort room which is a bit expensive I believe but quite spacious including a sofa and a small table. I have read several reviews about the speed of the Internet but I have to say that we didn't face any problem with it. It was stable and normal speed. The Rathouse platz which is at the city center is more than 10 but less than 15 minutes walk, but you can also take the tram or the tube whose stops are 5 minute walking from the hotel door. Stephansplatz isn't around 35 minutes walk and Belvedere around 50 minutes walk while opera house something like 35 but if the weather allows it you don't notice that you are walking for so long since the city is magnificent. And walking is the only way to learn the city well. So, overall this is a place that us definitely suggested.

    « Lovely hotel »

Very charming hotel with very helpful staff. Very comfortable, clean and modern rooms. 20 minutes walk to Stephanplatzvand all the way you enjoy in view of historic sights. I will definitely return some day.

    « Nice hotel »

Overall, great stay. I was here for a few nights on a work trip, and was overall quite happy. The room was quite nice - not huge, but plenty big enough, nice bathroom. The front desk staff was really friendly (most of the time - see exception below). Inconvenience: The hotel wifi does offer free wifi; however, the codes reset every night at midnight. If you, like me, stay up very late during work, you have to call down to the front desk to get a new code. The desk attendants seemed pretty grumpy at that hour... Mini-bar was actually reasonably priced, and they had a little market in the lobby where you could replace items so as to not have charges come up on the bill after checkout (or obviously buy other items if you wished). The hotel is located a little out of the way, so my cab driver had a little trouble finding it on my way there, but otherwise - would stay here again!

« Great hotel. Friendly service. Lovely room. 15 min walk to centre »

My friend and I spent two nights here to visit the Xmas markets. We couldn't believe the value at £225 for B&B in a twin. The whole hotel looked like it had been decorated yesterday. Electric shutters made the room dark and very quiet. Slight grumble about rough towels but nothing too bad. Brilliant breakfast spread. There is a gym, but we didn't partake! And they serve tea/coffee, cakes and the best rum punch we had all weekend in the lounge in the late afternoons.

    « Great hotel »

We stayed for our winter vacation in the best western Harmonie. The hotel was very nice. The stuff were friendly and welcoming (all with a big smile), the room was big and beautiful. Breakfast was great. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood, walking distance from Rathouse plaze and close to tram station D. Overall- highly recommended.

    « A Wonderful Find »

Really impressed with this hotel. The location was perfect with just a short walk into the centre of Vienna. The staff were very welcoming and extremely helpful during our stay. We loved the decor and the whole hotel was spotlessly clean. The room was ideal and we felt very at home there. The wiFi was good. We only ate breakfast but the choice was excellent. We loved the idea of the complimentary afternoon tea which was perfect after a day walking round Vienna. We were very sorry to have to leave the hotel.

« Great Hotel and location!!! »

Accommodations and staff were top shelf. Walkable to St. Stephens Square and most of the must see attractions. Concierge services were superb, and no request was ever a bother. We would most certainly chose this property on our next visit to Vienna!

« Spot On for City Break »

We found the hotel was superbly appointed, smart, clean, modern. Good sized rooms, the staff were very helpful and always friendly and attentive. We only ate the breakfasts but found a very well stocked hot & cold buffet, as well as a fresh cook to order menu (at no extra cost!) Late afternoon there are free tea & cakes, which is a nice touch after a day on your feet. Some nice bars & restaurants nearby, be we also used taxis to the very centre on the evenings for about 5e or 6e. Whilst this hotel is outside of the city centre (just) there is trams, buses and the underground close by. We stayed for 3 nights and would use every time.

    « Like home »

It's the fourth time i stay here. I great place with great staff people. You have un underground garage at 20 m , Stephan' s platz is about 10 minute on foot from the hotel . The breakfast is diversified and BIO food , very carefully chosen .you can ask for a map of the neighborhood points of interest. Everyone is willing to help you !

« great spot for your Vienna HQ »

quiet street about 6 blocks off the RingStrasse and only a block away from the D Tram. There's also a City Bike station a block away which we took advantage of. Lots of good restaurants nearby which we tried after a long day of sight seeing. Room had all the basic amenities, staff was warm and always helpful, excellent breakfast spread and the price was right.

« Wonderful hotel and staff!!! »

This was the first time we stayed in this hotel and it definitely won't be the last. As soon as we arrived we were greeted with a warm welcome from the staff. This was the beginning of a wonderful stay. The hotel was spotless and very comfortable. The breakfast had a wide selection of high quality food. There was also a complimentary afternoon tea and cake. The bedroom was spacious with beautiful decor. All the staff were most pleasant and helpful. We were so sad to leave and hope to return soon.

    « CONFORT IN A COLD CITY »

Confortable and cosy accomodations. Good breakfast. Young and wellcoming personnel. The hotel is not exactly downtown, but has many good, public transports, unexpensive and at 10mn travel distance from the center. The only reproach is that although I stayed 5 nights, I only had free internet wifi for 2.

« Lovely Hotel away from main tourist area. »

This hotel is outside of the main tourist area, which we saw as a definite advantage for its peace and quiet. The staff were all very accommodating and spoke perfect English. The breakfast was particularly good, with a wide choice (some of which also changed regularly). Couldn't fault anything about this hotel: although evening meal a bit of a disappointment due to lack of restaurant usage.

« Home Away from Home »

We stayed at Best Western Premier Harmonie for seven (7) nights and what a stay it was! The breakfast was great and they accommodated our requests for early breakfast twice (due to scheduled tours outside Vienna). The staff were friendly, accommodating and thoughtful, with the restaurant staff remembering our coffee preferences and the reception staff calling out a cheery hello every time we enter the hotel. It was situated on a quiet street, ensuring that we had a peaceful stay, while it was only a walk away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We had a grand time and we only wish we could have stayed longer!

« Location perfect to sidestep the crowds »

Well-kept property with rooms either front or back fine because it's on a quiet sidestreet. Avoid the rooms overlooking the back, however, until construction is done behind it. Breakfast a cut above American buffet fare. And you can order from the menu, tho they may not push it. Concierge-style advice not terrific. Restaurants in the immediate area leave something to be desired, but it's not that far to the good ones. Snail, no, maybe fast turtle wifi.

    « Secret Jem of a Hotel »

Loved this hotel! The staff was friendly, breakfasts great, and rooms very nice. We were met twice by staff to make sure our room met our needs. 2 blocks from tram so easy to get around town. On the way to tram stop, there was a nice pastery shop! This was a secret jem. I admit I was put off by Best Western name but Premier is more like a chic botique hotel. Even have cake and coffee in the hotel libary which was a nice treat at night

    « Very pleasant stay »

Up on check in we were welcomed very well and friendly, even if was before check in time we were able to go to the room. Room had all facilities that we needed, also was very nice and well decorated room. Breakfast had an excellent choice of well presented food. The hotel also offered complementary free coffee/tea and slice of cake during afternoon hours at the cosy lounge area. It has also gym but unfotunately we never used it. Very friendly and helpful staff at the reception and during breakfast service. The hotel is very good located, not right in the center of the city (just 15 min walk) but also well communicated. Very high recommended hotel if you are looking for a pleasant and relax stay in Vienna.

    « Warm welcome »

This hotel is located in a more residential part of the city, not too far from the subway station. We were greeted by a most courteous clerk upon our arrival and check-in went smoothly. The spotlessly clean room was a bit on the small side, but was adequate for the two of us. We spent two nights here and it was very quiet. There was a stand up shower and no tub, but the bath had a towel warmer, a nice magnifying mirror and a hair dryer. The room also had robes and slippers, an iron and ironing board, a safe and a luggage rack for suitcases. We were able to walk to the Old Town area in about 15 minutes. We especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet with its wonderful variety of breakfast foods.

    « Relaxing City Break »

Very welcoming and helpful. Clean and equipped as you'd expect from Great Western. About 30 mins fairly easy walk from the city centre with several public transport links within in a 10 min walk or less. Breakfast was a good range of food which changed daily and was always fresh. Had dinner at the hotel one evening. Calm environment with good service and very nice food. We enjoyed our stay and found it fitted are holiday perfectly. Would certainly recommend for anyone travelling on a mid range budget.

    « Confortable Hotel »

Well equiped confortable rooms with a modern look. Good and varied breakfast. Ideal hotel for business in Wien, specially if you have a Congress at Messe (4 stops by metro). Only drawback is that it's a little far from the city centre (25min walking, 15min by tram). Quiet and residential area of the city.

« Harmonie in tune all the way! »

Everything else has been said about this delightful, well appointed hotel. It's in quiet area but not far away from public transport. The old red trams are a blast from the past and fun to use. There's a mix of old and new trams. Worth the wait for a 'red rattler.' In fact, take a tram along the whole route for a good overall view of the town from inner city to the near suburbs. It's cheap and worth the effort. The 'Harmonie' comes with warmth, charm and contemporary decor incorporating strategically placed mirrors to provide a feeling of room and space. It works well. Staff are terrific. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with well illuminated bathrooms. Internet is provided through an external provider and seems to require constant log-in (when you leave then return to the property). Prefer internet service which provides constant access for the duration of your stay following log in. Not a huge deal but worthy of note. It's a bit clunky.. Breakfast is tops. And yes, the management and staff in this area really know their job and couldn't be more helpful. Starting off with tea or coffee delivered to your well prepared table, there's a wide choice of buffet breakfast favourites- hot and cold. It's a great place to start the day. There's complimentary afternoon tea and cake (in the Library) which is a nice touch. And the Austrians really know how to make cake (Torte). The 'Harmonie' has much going for it and ticks all the boxes. Highly recommended.
