Makedonia Palace is perfectly located — close to the city centre and in my favourite area of Thessaloniki, right by the sea and near the Concert Hall. It's also just a short distance from my favourite restaurant, making the location absolutely ideal for me. A truly special place to stay! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It was our first time and j can say that I was impressed. We spend 3 days before we go to Halkidiki. Top location, Exceptional service from the team 👏

This was part of our tour, so it was chosen for me. However I really liked it. The entrance was very grand and spacious. It's a city location so obviously there's road noise but the double glazing was good and it didn't trouble us, although we were on the road side of the building. The breakfast was outstanding with many more choices than a lot of hotels. All well presented and delicious. Hot and cold. Good rooms. Safe. Fridge. Kettle and coffee pods. Water. Adequate storage. Comfy bed. Quiet a/c. A pet hate of mine is when they have notices about saving water, yet they still replace towels even when they are hung up for reuse!!! I resorted to writing a note (thanks to Google translate) asking for the bins to be emptied and nothing else done in the room, which they complied with. It's not exactly central and is a 45 min walk to main tavernas but there are loads closer too. A very well stocked supermarket is only 5 mins away. We even managed to have our daily kefir! The city football team stayed there during our stay!

My wife and I spent four days at this excellent hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The impeccable service truly sets this property apart and gives it a distinctive charm. The rooms are very comfortable, the breakfast is generous and beautifully presented, and the outdoor pool area is complemented by attentive and professional service. Our only minor observation concerns the additional charge for cappuccino at breakfast — it might be more appropriate to include it in the breakfast price. Overall, a refined and highly enjoyable experience.

Absolutely stunning hotel. Location was great, staff was great, food was great. Our room was amazing. If i'm going back to Thessaloniki, this is the place where i'll stay again. This time it was me and my wife on honey moon but next time we plan to go with kids. Really beautiful scenery around the hotel and we had great look from balcony. It was really safe there and so great, can't even express my thoughts.

We had a very nice stay in this hotel for about 5 nights. Being located in an easily accessible location, it was very convenient for us. Also, we got a room facing the beach, and it was awesome. The rooms were in good condition and spacious. The hotel staff at the reception and restaurant were very professional and kind. At the departure, our flight was in the early morning, and the staff members volunteered to provide us with breakfast as take-away. We would love to go there again.

Modern, luxury hotel right on the promenade and waterfront in Thessaloniki. The rooms, service, food and drink were all first-rate. The views are spectacular and it's great to walk out of your hotel right onto the promenade. Thessaloniki is a beautiful city with a troubled past, but it is well worth a visit.

Excellent location with great sea view, accommodating staff at reservation and reception and also very convenient valet parking, only negative that omelette is not included at breakfast unless you pay extra (unjustifiable for a 5 star hotel especially since another well known hotel at the airport offers it and on top it includes free glasses of champagne) and that toilets at the pool area need refurbishment

Nice 2 night stay, we booked last minute and wanted a bit of luxury at the end of the holiday. we arrived at 1100 and were able to check in straight away! Pool area was great and we used it both days, breakfast was a good selection but tad cold for the hot choices and as advised before latte coffee you have to pay for. We had a great massage also !

We recently stayed at the Makedonia Palace. This is our “go to” hotel when we are in Thessaloniki. The hotel is beautiful with a lovely outdoor terrace, pool and an amazing spa! The staff are very professional, courteous and efficient in all areas of the hotel. I must give a special shout out to the cleaning staff - they are amazing! The entire hotel is spotless and the rooms are always cleaned to such a high standard. The cleaning staff are always super professional and so helpful! One thing that always puzzles me is why the hotel only provides one bottle of complimentary water in the room….regardless of the length of stay! One bottle that needs to cover drinking water, tea and coffee…..for an entire week! (in our case). It's the only 5 star hotel that we have ever stayed at that is so frugal with something as simple as water! Otherwise though, an amazing stay!

Definitely a nice 5 star hotel. Room were very spacious with many ammenities. Comfortable bed and plenty of space in the bathroom. We will come back

A stunning hotel in a fantastic location. From the moment I stepped out of the taxi, the Makedonia team made me feel welcome and at home. The entire hotel is spotless and clean. All the staff are friendly and approachable, nothing is too much to ask. They always smiled and greeted me each day. The food is amazing, fresh and great quality. The pool area is good, plenty of space to relax. My room was stunning. The view and sunset was beautiful each day. My room was refreshed and cleaned every day. Good choices at breakfast and quick service. I didn't get time to try the Spa but heard great reviews from other guests. I will definitely return to this beautiful hotel and city. I had such a lovely experience at Makedonia Palace! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. The staff were incredibly polite and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. You can tell they care about creating a positive experience for every guest. The space itself is beautifully decorated- stylish without being over the top, and super clean. Whether you're there for coffee, a relaxed lunch, or drinks with friends, the vibe is just right: relaxed, cozy, and a bit elegant. The menu had some great choices and everything we ordered was delicious and clearly made with quality ingredients. I also really appreciated how fast everything arrived, even though the place was pretty busy. One of my favorite parts was the little walk you can take along the seafront, it's such a peaceful way to start or end your day, and it leads you right into the heart of the city.

Öncelikle temizligini arastirarak tercih etmistik bir problem yasamadik. Konumu da diger tercih sebebimizdi gercekten iyi bir noktada. Kahvaltisi da Turkiyedeki acik bufeleri aratmiyordu. Firstly, we checked the hotel in terms of cleanliness and didn't encounter any issues. Another reason we chose this hotel was its great location. The breakfast was also good, similar to the open buffet style commonly found in hotels in Turkey.

If you visit a 5* hotel you expect that the service is very well. You don't expect to pay extra for your espresso or cappuccino, for you fried eggs or omelette at the breakfast. If you pay €265 for the room you expect that this would be included. Also a bottle of water on the first day at the room but for the others days....no water!

When you book a room with breakfast, then go for breakfast and they charge you extra to have a cappuccino or fried eggs, I have to pause and ask what is the motivation. I can get boiled or scrambled eggs, but fried eggs are extra, I can get espresso or coffee but cappuccino is extra. Does that really make a difference on their bottom line. I hope it does because I will never come here or to any sister hotel again. simple quick decision. And yet I could have said some positives, but not with this ridiculous decision to charge for such tiny incidentals .

Very good hotel, looks very new and clean, the staff are very kind and helpful. Great location, the rooms are big and the sea view is amazing. We will come back again .for sure... also in the check out they give us free one room till 14.00. very good hotel

Beautiful hotel but everything is overpriced with in the hotel My son bought an ice cream and then we sit at the cafeteria to have coffees. They told us that is not allowed to eat outside staff in hotel. Very poor approach. In breakfast they charging espresso, omelette as extra. Very poor approach while you paying 300 euros per night.
