Best Western Plus Hotel Escapade Senlis

My family and I were excited to stay in this hotel prior to our trip to Parc Asterix. Unfortunately, although we arrived 2 hours after the advertised check-in time, our room was not ready due to an earlier incident. While I understand that this was outwith the hotel's control, we were just told to sit in the reception for 20 minutes while waited for our room. This was during the heatwave and this area is the only one in the hotel without air conditioning so it was very hot, and in spite of the delay in getting our room, we were not offered any refreshments or anything as compensation. When we got to our room, it was not a queen bed with twin beds as per our booking. Before alerting the reception, I checked the hotel website and found out that nowhere in the French website does it mention queen beds and twin beds in the same room. Only in the English version of the website. So we had a sofa bed and twin beds instead. Sofa bed was not particularly comfortable and didn't make for a restful night. Our room was also near the road. What I wasn't expecting was how much of the noise from the road we would hear in our room! And it was a lot of noise. Throughout the night... As we settled into our room, we soon realised that although it had been booked for 4 people, only 2 pairs of slippers and 2 cups had been supplied. I got more slippers at the reception. While I was there, I enquired about the robes advertised in the website but absent from our room and was told that they didn't have any. Cue us going to the pool wrapped in towels... We had dinner at the restaurant. While the food was lovely, the welcome was inexistent when we arrived. The lady who was in charge of welcoming customers looked distinctly annoyed to see us (we arrived at our booked time...). She then sat us at a table but didn't give us menus. She went on to give the same cold welcome to other customers. She also made clearly personal phone calls on her mobile (ending in "Bisous" so definitely not professional calls) while walking around the restaurant. Luckily another person looked after us for most of the meal and she was lovely. Now on to some positives about this hotel: the air conditioning in the rooms, the pool, the lovely reception staff, the food at the restaurant (tasty though slightly overpriced).

For our last night during a two-week visit to France, we were looking for a place in a lovely city close to CDG Airport. Senlis is a lovely place to visit. The hotel is situated at the intersection of two highways leading to the airport. For our morning trek to return the rental car, we chose the scenic, non-toll route that largely traversed farmland and forests. Parking is free. The room was gigantic by French standards and had abundant air conditioning -- something we craved during the record-breaking heatwave during these last days for us. We never eat in hotel restaurants, but there apparently are plenty of nice ones in Senlis. We recommend Brasserie Cerf, which is across the street from a free public parking lot ... and also has air conditioning.

Arrived with my family and made a mistake on the booking platform. These things happen when you're juggling travel plans. Instead of helping us find a solution or showing any understanding, the girl with glasses at the front desk was rude and condescending from the start. She spoke to us like we were trying to pull a scam rather than a family who simply needed assistance with a booking error. No empathy, no willingness to help, no attempt to find an alternative—just attitude. I asked to speak to a manager, thinking surely someone with more authority could help us sort this out. I was told that was “impossible” and that she was the only person I could speak to. I find that very hard to believe. Every hotel has a manager on duty, especially a property that's part of an American hotel chain. Either she was lying or this hotel operates with zero accountability. Hoping for better luck, I turned to the other front desk employee. She was just as unhelpful—kept interrupting me before I could even finish explaining the situation. It was clear neither of them had any interest in helping us. We ended up leaving and booking at a different hotel nearby, where the staff actually treated us like guests. The contrast was night and day. I understand that mistakes happen on both sides, but how a hotel handles those situations says everything. This location failed completely. No problem-solving, no professionalism, no basic courtesy. I won't be returning and I'd encourage others to think twice before booking here.

Modern hotel less than a half hour from CDG and a short drive from restaurants in Senlis. Rooms bigger than expected with plenty of parking on property. Quiet even though it is next to a distribution center. Big atrium lobby is pleasant and bright with comfy seating and tables. Only negative is breakfast is not included and is a little pricey for what it is.

Very clean, beautiful, friendly staff, wonderful stay, safe, we return to that hotel as often as possible

Excellent hotel for busienss or leisure. The staff are very friendly, polite and attentive both front of house, bar and restaurant. The restaurant serves excellent food with a good selection at a reasonably price. The decor is modern, the room was comfortable and quiet.

This is a wonderful stop over hotel on the outskirts of Paris. We take advantage of the pool and sauna to recharge our battery after a long drive or after we return to Charles De Gaulle. The gym is well apportioned and breakfast is enjoyable. Senlis has a lot to offer if one chooses to take advantage.

We arrived to find the hotel a bit further from town than we thought, which realistically limited our eating choices to the hotel. We asked about dinner (arrived at 19.30) and were told that we could eat if we ate straight away which we agreed to do. When we arrived at the restaurant 5 min later it was emphasised to us how lucky we were to get a table which seemed a strange approach to customer service to us. The food was ok, though the wine selection is very limited. We skipped desert as by this stage the restaurant was very busy and the the 1 waitress (plus help from barman) was clearly stressed. Our sleep was not much better as there was some road noise and the pillows were awful. In the morning we just left and skipped breakfast given the dinner performance.

Stayed here several times - excellent location and comfortable hotel - But on last visit really disappointing restaurant. Very poor food and presentation. Staff tried hard! We would eat elsewhere in future. Such a shame as previously it had been good.

Quick trip to Paris and I did not want to stay centre with the current Covid situation so headed north 1 hour on my way back and stopped off at the Escapade. Ideal stop over with clean comfortable rooms and pleasant staff not much around as the hotel is quite isolated but the restaurant was excellent attentive staff and well presented food. Would highly recommend.

Very clean and comfortable rooms. Nice breakfast and very good quality. Only be careful when you book the room we suggest NOT to sellect room in Patio. Its an inside room without window and the worse, the Hotel lobby lights are getting inside the room all night long. I wouldn't mind to stay there since the noise proof is excellent but the hotel need to do something for the lightstop of the window!

This is obviously a popular business hotel. There was a long line at check-in and only one person staffing the front desk. She handled it all with grace and smiles, and when it was our turn check-in was swift. She had our keys ready & waiting for us. All hotels should do this! The hotel has two lifts. Our room was large and sparsely but nicely appointed, and it was clean. The bed was slightly on the soft side but comfortable enough, and had all non-feather pillows--great for allergy sufferers! There were power outlets at each nightstand--perfect for charging phones & devices at bedside! The room had a minifridge--not a jam-packed minibar, but a real minifridge with two free waters and loads of room for personal stash... excellent! The bathroom had a large shower with no mold--great job, housekeeping! The shower water pressure was great and the hot water stayed hot. The towels were large and luxurious! There was a hairdryer on the shelf under the sink, and a wall-mounted magnifying mirror--always a bonus! And there were two bars of soap--it's always nice to not have to transport one bar of soap into and out of the shower. The free WiFi was strong....Thank you! Parking is free in the hotel's huge lot. I would happily stay here again.

Excellent hotel not far from Senlis and Chantilly. Great for an overnight stopover or a few nights. Staff excellent, good size family room very modern, restaurant very good and a really nice pool. We were delighted with our stay and would use again.

Stayed at the hotel two nights, just off the United flight from Chicago. That means we arrived about noon. Rooms clean and modern, look new or close to it. Parking just a few steps from check-in. Surprisingly good “businessman's restaurant” with reasonable prices. If you land at CDG after a long flight, you simply don't want to drive 200 km to find your hotel. This place is only 30 minutes to the north of the airport. Which meant….when we departed 10 days later, we elected to stay here again. 30 minute drive from hotel check-out to CDG car return. Much more convenient than staying , the night before the flight, at the airport. Rare find, not expensive, good service, no hidden costs. Yes, we'll stay here again. G & B Ray, still in Wichita.

Close to the motorway, easily accessible, in the middle of a desolate industrial estate is the modern, not very tastefully but efficiently furnished hotel. The rooms offer ample comfort that suits a four-star accommodation including a separate toilet, safe and kettle. Wonderful spacious shower. Wifi unsecured. Parking on own ground. Because there is not much to be found around the hotel, it is nice that there is a reasonable restaurant and that breakfast is sufficient.

This was a one night stay with a late arrival and early departure but i was very impressed. The hotel as a whole (rooms lobby and restaurant) were immaculate. Food was good for breakfast. Bed was very comfortable and the staff was awesome. Probably the best Best Western I have ever stayed at.

Clean, brand new hotel with everything you could need PLUS all the employees (from the reception team to the restaurant staff and even the hotel director) were super helpful and welcoming, really trying to make our stay the easiest and nicest possible. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking for a convenient place to stay North of the airport.

This hotel has it all, fitness center, beautiful pool, large sauna and beautiful rooms. The large lobby is welcoming to have a coffee while working or a cocktail with friends or colleagues. The restaurant is wonderful, the food is impeccabley prepared from start to finish. As if this isn't enough, the service is unbelievable. The staff is friendly, warm and welcoming from the front desk, the servers in the restaurant to the cleaning staff. They get it all right!

Perfect hotel for meeting and work It has two meeting halls and for business The hotel app is new and excellent The location from the airport is just 15 min by car The restaurant was excellent and food is tasty The staff are kind and do their best to be happy . Only bad thing there are no bus to this hotel

Very nice hotel which we visited for several nights near Senlis, Creil and Chantilly. The complex was built in 2017 and could be an office building as well. Rooms are spacious and offer standard commodities. They are quite cold from design, some cosy touch is missing. Food is excellent. I recommend the hotel.

We needed a hotel not too far from the airport for our departure home the next day. We found this online and decided to book. The hotel was just built in March 2018 and still smells brand new. Easy, onsite parking lot, check in was very friendly and efficient. The entire property is very open and spacious. There is a business center in the lobby for checking in to your flight, a fitness center, pool, and a "smoking room" for folks to enjoy their cigars, etc. Our room was on the 2nd floor, so up the elevator we went. The room was perfectly appointed and a wonderful, large, modern bathroom! The bed was very comfy, and there was lots of room for our belongings in the storage and work areas. There is a restaurant and bar right onsite, which was wonderfully convenient! We had drinks before dinner then dined comfortably. The food was good, but nothing exceptional. We were then able to walk back to our room and relax for the evening, waking refreshed and ready to go! Breakfast is available for a charge at the restaurant, but we opted to stop at a local cafe on our way to the airport for croissant and coffee. I definitely recommend this hotel again!

The hotel was very clean and modern. The lobby was cozy and was nice to have a beer in prior to dinner. I was very impressed with the restaurant. The beef tartare was wonderful. Service was fast and efficient.

This place has only recently opened, but its great and will only get better. Its a great place to stop on route or to use as a base for roaming around the area. Take your bathing suit because the pool and Sauna are a must.

Wow what a great hotel this is in senlis france bit expensive but you won't regret it rooms are big and well furnished with slippers dressing gowns and toiletries and the staff are great we arrived sunday night very tired after driving all day and it was great to just get a room and relax the restaurant was closef with it been sunday but we hsd bread and meat which was enough bit pricey at 15 euros but we were hungry its also got a smoke for thoses that smoke with lovely chairs and sofas breakfast was the continental type at 15 euros but you dont have to have it Cant realy say anymore just go and see for yourselfs what a great hotel it is
