Everything was just what you could expect from a top line hotel. Would stay again if we were in the area. I appreciated the casual internet terminal since I left my laptop at home. Very handy. Reasonable rates. Somehow trip advisor wants 200 characters, so I added this sentence.
The room was Clean and spacious. Single cup Coffee maker in the room made good morning Joe. The refrigerator kept the beer cool. Did not try the microwave. The soap dispenser needed a little getting used to. Good breakfast including cereal, yogurt, sausage, bread assortment and eggs. Will stay here again.
Hotel room was clean and comfortable, bed was cozy, staff, especially Brianna were extremely accommodating and helpful with service and extras such as toiletries and towels. Day manager(forgot her name)was very busy in the morning with desk duties as well as setting up the breakfast supplies. She did her job well also. I would stay at this location if I am in the area again. Location was close to many restaurants and Walmart as we needed some accessories. Price was very reasonable for our stay, 3 nights in Aug.
My husband and I stayed at this hotel for four nights while visiting our daughter who was doing a college internship in Providence. It was very good. Staff were great, always willing to help. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good with many options. The hotel location was very convenient for us because we had a rental car and could drive everywhere. If you don't have a car, this hotel may not be convenient for you. Overall, we had a great experience!
I have the most relaxing and wonderful time when I stay here. The staff is hardworking and kind. The hotel is clean and inviting. The free breakfast is a highlight to anyone's day
My aunt and I arrived on the afternoon of July 3. The check-in was easily done, as was hooking up my wi-fi. The beds were comfortable. Those were the pros. Now for the cons: The toilet didn't flush right. The water in the sink overflowed, ending up on the floor. While showering, I came close to slipping in the tub, and getting hurt. At breakfast, the only cereals available were three types of Chex. No Cheerios or other cereals with fiber. They also had no skim or lowfat milk. They offered me oat milk, but I refused. The shower/tub combo also had just one grab bar, making it difficult for me, since I just had knee replacement surgery last month. There are other hotels nearby that have what I want and more.
Great breakfast. The homefries tasted home made. I liked having multiple meat choices. Great bagels, they don't taste cheap like at the other hotels.
This hotel was perfect. Staff was helpful, breakfast was great. Clean and quiet. It was the perfect night away.
The room was very clean and spacious. And the whole property is clean a well maintained. Breakfast was hot and tasty the fact that they put out fresh berry salad was great .I have never seen that at a hotel. Staff was pleasant and willing to help. The owner stopped and say good morning to his guests while helping with breakfast.
Excellent value, clean rooms, very good variety of breakfast items, for us was the perfect location close to all major roads, very friendly staff, extremely satisfied
We stayed at this hotel for one week and were pleased with its overall quality, service, and price/value. We recommend it.
This has become our go-to property when visiting family in the area. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast has a good variety of hot and cold options and is restocked as needed. Staff are friendly and helpful. No complaints!
We stayed in a double queen room. With both beds in there, you could barely walk by the bed near the wall sides. Tiny is and understatement. No HD channels on the TV-in 2023 this is UNHEARD of!!!! Breakfast area was tiny and only had one employee cooking, bussing, and cleaning. Maybe Airbnb's have ruined me, but the bang for my buck was just NOT here.
The BW Hotel in Seekonk, Ma was very clean, The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was clean and In working order. The area was nice. Our stay was excellent and we will stay again. Thank you BW Providence-Seekonk Inn Staff for the Excellent stay.
Friendly Staff. Clean rooms and overall hotel was clean. Breakfast was good, sufficient options. Wish the lobby coffee was kept warm all day though. Vending food/drinks should be updated more often (things were expired). Plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. Good location to both Providence and Boston.
We had a very enjoyable one night stay. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious and very clean. The sofa in the room should probably be replaced since the fabric was slightly worn. The breakfast was very good and the owner was on site to make sure everything went well and he was hands on. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again. The front desk staff was very helpful for my wife and answered any and all of her questions.
Every time I am in town I always stay at this location. Bob the manager and Sam the owner are the nicest guys you will ever meet. They go out of their way to make sure that everything is perfect. Breakfast is delicious and the beds are comfy!
We stayed 2 nights in this hotel for our son's college move in (had many options in the same vicinity at approximately the same price). We arrived at approximately 11am after driving 6 hours from Philadelphia. Bob (the manager) told me that my room was ready, but I would have to pay a $25 "early check in fee" if I wanted to get in earlier than the official 3pm check in time. I travel A LOT and have never been charged to check into a hotel early when my room is already available! I would understand if it was a resort or they had to get housekeeping to prep the room - but it was literally already available, so why not just let us check in? This news certainly didn't make me feel very welcome at the hotel, but I didn't complain, and we opted to just come back later. We returned at 3pm and checked into the room. The carpet in room was tired and dingy and bathroom floor hadn't been cleaned as there was a plastic razor cover under the sink left by previous occupants. We were in the room about 15 minutes when there was a knock on the door. The person knocking said that he was "maintenance" and was there to check the "loose toilet". We had already used the toilet and there was nothing wrong with it - so we didn't open the door for him. Also, we were suspicious (and a bit unnerved) b/c nobody at the desk mentioned a problem with the toilet, nor did they call us to say maintenance would be coming. Also, if there actually a was a problem with the toilet - they had FOUR hours (when they wouldn't let us in the room) to resolve any toilet issues! We did not spend much time in the room except to sleep as we were busy moving our son into school. On night 2 we arrived back at about 10pm and the room was very muggy and the air conditioning wouldn't turn on. I called down to the desk to see if there was something we were doing wrong in getting the air conditioner to work (as there were no instructions and the obvious methods weren't working). The woman named Karen who answered the phone was very rude and condescending. When I questioned her about why she was being rude, she got even more aggressive. Told me my only option was to switch rooms. At 10pm, we were in no mood, so we just stayed in the room. Eventually in the middle of the night, the air did kick on. We also had multiple problems with our keycards not working to get into the hotel - they had to be reset at the front desk at least 2 times during our stay - obviously inconvenient. This next part is what shocked me most about the whole stay. When I was checking out, the man at the desk asked how my stay was and I told him it wasn't great. It was a pleasant conversation. I did forget to mention the weird encounter with the maintenance guy, but I told him about our problems with the keycard, interaction with Karen, the dirty bathroom floor, my disappointment about them wanting to charge me $25. He was very nice and empathetic, took notes and told me that manager Bob was out for a few days due to a family emergency, but he would tell him all of my concerns and that Bob would surely get back to me. After we left, we realized (based on a simple google search) that the man I was speaking with is THE OWNER of the hotel - Samir (Sam) Patel! I could not have been more disappointed! Why on earth would he not have told me that he was the owner and addressed the problems himself? There are so many other hotels within a stone's throw of this one - so obviously I will not be staying here again, and I will surely steer the other college parents away from it. Breakfast was fine. The woman who was working the breakfast area was very nice - constantly restocking and making sure tables were clean. Also, the beds weren't terrible, and I guess we can be happy that we did not see any bedbugs.
Very clean. If I needed something they gave it to me with no problems. I met one girl that worked there named Alli K. And she went above and beyond to help me. She made me feel comfortable in every way. She was very pleasant. There was a huge amount of delicious breakfast foods to choose from. I highly recommend staying here.
Very clean, quiet, and spacious room with a great mattress. Friendly staff at front desk. Nice breakfast selection that is kept ot, frequently refreshed and a very clean dining area. We found our room to be comfortable and clean with good sized beds with comfortable mattresses. We were very pleasantly surprised with our stay and felt we received great value. Restaurants were close by (within walking). We visited Roger Williams zoo and Battleship Cove.
15 mins away from the zoo! We stayed here for one night. We enjoyed the pool, walked o through the parking lot to TGI Fridays for dinner, came back to the pool then got up the next morning for a wonderful breakfast! We packed up and headed out for our zoo trip!
Everything about this hotel makes it a hidden gem. The location is perfect for visiting many areas in RI and MA. The pool is relaxing and inviting. It's also indoors, so bad weather can't spoil your swim. Breakfast includes a variety of delicious food.
The owners and staff we very friendly and helpful. Breakfast has a good selection of both hot and cold foods. Location was within 1hr of everything my family needed to go. We definitely recommend this hotel.
Easy friendly check in/out. Clean rooms. Quiet. Safe location. Doors have additional lock. Use a pass key. Vending machines in hall was nice. Clean bathroom with clean towels. Even hair dryer and ironing board. Ac worked great, no smells, no smoke, just nice. Have elevator in case carrying luggage upstairs or just don't want to walk up stairs. Good breakfast too.
We were pleasantly surprised by our recent stay at the best Western in Seekonk, Massachusetts. First of all, the hotel is extremely clean! The bathroom was spotless and appointed with argon, oil, infused shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Hair dryers were also provided. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. They provide a very nice breakfast as well. Dash all of the staff is friendly and you can tell they care about making your stay a pleasant one. I would definitely stay here again.
This is a better than average BW. Rooms are large, clean, and renovated (we paid ~$10 to stay in 'updated' deluxe room. Breakfast is better than average as well. Front desk and the owner / manager are very responsive and helpful The negatives are tiny tiny bath towers, and limited gym equipment. This is not a bad choice if you need to spend a night or two in the area.
Clean, pleasant hotel. Beds are comfortable, and bathroom is bigger than normal closet-sized which I appreciate though I am very petite, weighing only 100 pounds. Breakfast was a huge disappointment though. Either bring your own or plan to go elsewhere to eat. We had to ask for more towels since the few number they gave us did not suffice for just 3 people.
Very clean, quiet, and spacious room with a great mattress. Friendly staff at front desk. Pleasant breakfast room. Nice to have both tub and shower with easily dispensed argan oil shampoo, conditioner, & body wash (no wasteful tiny plastic bottles). Highly recommend when in the Providence area.
We've stayed here several times now as it is convenient to family and the breakfast is good. The rooms have been good as well, although a bit less so on this most recent visit. The cost also went up this time, although it is comparable to similar properties. We've found the staff friendly and responsive.
In town for marathon and had comfortable stay, clean room and close to downtown. Staff went out of their to help including delaying my check out due to delayed return after race. Convenient to local restaurants too.
Room was clean and comfortable. Every staff member I interacted with was pleasant and helpful. The included breakfast left a lot to be desired - pretty basic and average quality. I did take advantage of the pool for a bit, which was small but nice. The location is great - anything you could ever need or want in terms of shops or restaurants in Seekonk, and only about a 10-15 minute drive into Providence. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
Service was extremely wonderful, service employees were very helpful, fun and do many jobs at is best western. Rooms very clean and ready earlier then the3:00 check-in. Pool was clean and well taken care of for swimming. Had a wonderful night slept well and the heating and cooling system works great.
We've stayed at this hotel twice now and both times the staff were attentive, the room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was good. Close to food and shopping. We would definitely recommend this property.
Close to everything, this hotel is a decent mid-range stay. Great location, just off the interstate and a 15 minute drive to downtown Providence. We stayed for a full week, mainly to visit the Newport mansions. The owners were very kind and helpful. Moderate and repetitive selection for breakfast, but with good service. Clean environment, rather quiet and comfortable room was a big plus. Good options for eating, nearby. Good stay but not memorable.
This hotel offers great value for money, is clean and offers an excellent breakfast. The rooms are large and well appointed with everything that is needed. I liked the pool which is large enough to swim laps in
I travel for work, so staying in hotels is what I do, found this particular Best Western by accident I had been staying in a different chain around the corner forgot to make my usual reservation and last minute was unable to make it, so I found the Best Western and have been staying there ever since. If you are looking for a good hotel to stay in while in the Seekonk area I would recommend Best Western 45 Mink street
You know price you know convenience but you also need to know quality. Who ever the GM is at this property takes their job seriously. Seriously I thought this was a newly renovated property when I stepped into the lobby. Thank you for the great stay.
I wasn't sure how to rate this. The hotel was nice, but in my opinion, it was too expensive. Pros...the breakfast had nice options, the pool area had a place to shower off, the staff were friendly, and the room was clean...which is all good. Cons...the room smelled like wet dog, and the price, to me, was too high for this property. Maybe that is the going rate for this area...not sure, but I guess I was expecting a fancier hotel.
Excellent staff - clean rooms - This seems like it's off the beaten path but very close to Providence on the RI / MA line. It was - Convenient and comfortable - There is an indoor pool but we were unable to use due to our busy family schedule.
Our family stayed at this hotel for one night on our east coast road trip. The hotel was upkept very nice. The hotel staff and management were very respectful and helpful., very pleasant. We would stay here again.
We stayed two nights. Not the newest property, but everything was in excellent condition and clean. Enough outlets to charge electronics. Hot water showed up quickly enough. Breakfast included scrambled eggs, sausage, and potatoes. Quite a few restaurants and shopping within a few minutes' drive (Seekonk did not install enough sidewalks to make walking convenient). The hotel is one block away from the main road, so, very little street noise. We'd stay again.
This hotel is very clean and comfortable. It is in a great location! Everything you could need is just down the street. We moved out son into college and it was a perfect location. The staff is very friendly and answered every question we had.
Clean room even under the bed. Great breakfast included cereal, waffles, bagels, eggs, sausage, fruit, etc. Something for everyone Friendly employees. We requested address pillows and towels and they were delivered to our room within minutes.
My wife and I stayed at Best Western in Seekonk, while we attended a wedding and saw some family in the area. I must say the hotel has an amazing staff. Sam, Bobby, and Karen made the check-in and check-out process easy, they were able to navigate us to Newport and the local beaches, and gave stellar dinner recommendations. House-keeping cleaned the rooms very well. The room was spotless! The women who operates the breakfast, Bona, did an amazing job handing the breakfast. She supplied a wide selection of cereals, juices, hot breakfast (eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, french toast), fresh fruit, coffee, etc. They have a nice size pool and fitness room. Both of which were also clean :). Will definitely stay here again and highly recommend others visiting the area to do the same!
The room was nice. I especially liked the kitchenette aspect of it. I liked having that including some of the cabinets (didn't use them but if I had been there more than one night I would have). Nice pool with long hours. The internet was quick too. It was an overall good experience. It was also close to some good restaurants.
This facility is clean, quiet, nicely appointed. Breakfast is on time and hot, staff is friendly and there are plenty of extras. Hot coffee in the lobby and clean fitness center and swimming pool. A++
Very nice staff and everything was clean. Pool room was excellent and warm. Breakfast was out in time and the quality of food was good for a continental breakfast. Centrally located with easy access to the highway.
This hotel is in a very nice location, close enough to restaurants, places of interest and a variety of stores. We were pleasantly surprised at how friendly and accommodating the staff at this hotel are. We had a wonderful time during our stay.
From the moment I made the reservation with Sam (called hotel directly - better rate) I knew I was in good hands. I had a late night check in with no issues, a safe parking area and a clean, comfortable room. The surrounding area has loads of stores, restaurants and the trip to downtown Providence was convenient. Will stay again!
This reasonably priced hotel exceeded our expectations. It's appears to be relatively new and the room with a king was well appointed and very clean. The bedding and pillows were quite nice, especially having extra pillows for comfort. We didn't use any of the amenities and left before breakfast so I can't speak to that.
I stay there every month for work, I am greeted by my first name, and a smile, I'm acknowledged for being a rewards member. My room is clean and tidy and the bed is very comfortable. Breakfast is served from 6.30 to 9.30 and there is always plenty of hot food.
Newly refurbished, spotless ...highly responsive and friendly staff.... huge indoor swimming pool .. biggest breakfast selection I have ever encountered in a motel. Highly satisfied. Will overnight there again.
Friendly, efficient check-in and staff , clean room, decent breakfast, convenient location. What more can I say? Everybody on the staff was friendly, and everything worked as it should. Good variety in the included breakfast.
Front desk person promptly returned items left behind during my stay. This, along with the overall cleanliness of the room and friendliness of the staff, left me with the highest recommendation to others traveling to the Providence area.
Nice hotel with great breakfast choices and indoor swimming pool. Close to Providence and Massachusetts scenic areas. Beaches are close by with easy access to transportation by car or bus routes as well.
This hotel was wonderful to stay at! The staff were incredibly welcoming, kind and very accommodating. Very interested in pleasing anyone that required assistance and truly went above and beyond to make the stay even more pleasant. The room we stayed in was very nice, lots of space and 2 chairs to sit in to read, which was a nice feature.
My family booked a stay at this hotel from March 10 – 14 through a 3rd party website. The website stated there was free cancellation. We had to cancel our trip because 3 of us got COVID and would not meet the 10 day CDC guideline for travelling after testing positive. I contacted the hotel on March 5 to cancel the reservation and they said any refund would need to come from the 3rd party. I contacted the 3rd party site and they said the reservation could be cancelled but the first night stay would need to be paid for per hotel policy. I questioned this and the 3rd party site contacted the hotel to see if it could be waived. The front desk person said only the general manager could approve so the 3rd party site scheduled a call for March 7 with the hotel. I called back on March 7 and the 3rd party site contacted the general manager, who was not there, and asked me to contact them on March 8. I contacted the 3rd party site on March 8 and after consultation with the hotel, stated I would be charged for the first night if the reservation was cancelled. I suppose we could have just travelled and exposed hotel staff and guests and not been charged, but decided not to do that and cancelled the reservation. The sad thing is that we will be making the trip later in the summer and most likely would have stayed at this hotel. However, that will definitely not happen. I hope it was worth missing out on multiple nights to get the first night payment.
I've stayed at this hotel a number of times. The check-in is always quick and easy. The hotel itself is in a convenient location with plenty of lighted parking. The rooms have always been clean, spacious, and all amenities working good (ie: AC, shower, water pressure, TVs). I had a problem once with a key card and they took care of it immediately (changed batteries in the access control on the door). This is not far from where I live, but I choose to stay at a hotel after a night out instead of driving home (good mid-point for meeting up with friends). I've also brought my daughter here when I've had a room so we can swim. It's a great pool (regular size indoor for a business hotel of this size). I think the pool may actually be a saltwater pool. Also, to note this hotel is usually quiet and the mattresses are perfect after working all week or being out.
The staff was friendly and very helpful making our stay enjoyable. We were there for a family function and the price was right for our stay. We were not disappointed . I was surprised that the breakfast was much better than expected. Very good all around.
This hotel was the best. There were breakfast options I have never seen at a hotel that I actually love (like they were waiting for me). The staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Check in was a breeze and they were even able to help me find what I needed. The room was very large and everything was comfortable about our stay. We totally lost track of time, it was so comfortable. Exactly what we needed since this was the first time we were able to get away and to come see our son in the Navy.
Good, clean room. Pretty quiet due to location. Didn't like the shampoo and body wash dispensers in the shower. They only put out a tiny amount o of soap, so it is a pain to use. I DO understand why they would be useful from the manager POV as they save waste, mess , and the little shampoo bothers don't need to be replaced every day. We enjoyed our stay. Beds could been more comfy.
The front desk clerk was courteous and helpful. The room was large and clean. The fridge and microwave was convenient. The pool was clean and large enough to swim laps. They offered a full breakfast with a large variety of choices.
Very nice, clean comfy beds. The breakfast was awesome. Lots of variety and big seating area. All employees were friendly and helpful. Couldn't ask for better. I would come back again and reccomend to friends
The front desk was extremely helpful. Parking was great and the location was pretty good because you're surrounded by everything you'd need to survive 21 days and 20 Nights. Did I mention the breakfast was pretty good as well. Definitely will stay again... Easy access to i95 and surrounding attractions.
We stayed here while spending in Newport Rhode Island, in no small part to save some money on hotel costs. To that effect, the hotel met our expectations, as there was nothing wrong with our room or our stay in general, and the room rate was reasonable. We opted to pass on the breakfast, which was a standard chain hotel continental hot breakfast. However, one of us tried the coffee, and didn't like it very much. Well-situated on the main roads between Providence, Newport, and Cape Cod.
We stayed one night at this hotel and had a very good experience. The hotel is located a little bit off the main drag so it is very quiet though convenient to restaurants, etc. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff at this hotel is very friendly. It is an older hotel but has been updated very nicely.
Room was very clean. Breakfast buffet had a large selection of items to choose from. Hotel was in a great location close to everything and just a few minutes to Providence and close to the highways for a quick trip to the Newport area.
This was my first stay here at the Best Western and I would highly recommend it. From booking to check-in, to the room itself, to the breakfast - all very good. Big thumbs up!! Sam and his wife run a very good hotel. And the rate was also very fair - good value. The room was perfect, clean and functional. Coffee maker, fridge, microwave... And the breakfast was hot, eggs, sausage, hash browns, pancakes etc... all good! Thank you, Sam, for a good stay!
Yeah, you know what you're getting at a standard 3-star hotel like a Best Western. What elevated this one was the owners. They sat down and talked to us at breakfast, and were so hospitable it made this typical chain hotel seems like more. One example. One the first night of our 5 night stay we checked in very late. The owner saw my daughter wearing a Clemson shirt and asked her about attending college there. 5 days later at check out, he told her "good luck at Clemson." He remembered. I couldn't help but be impressed. Finally, there was a real hot breakfast instead of just a grab and go bag which is the normal "Covid" breakfast at most hotels. Great to sit down for a full breakfast again. The room was clean, large, and everything worked. I have no complaints.
The staff, especially Bona and Sam, did everything they could to ensure I had a wonderful 14 day stay at their hotel. It felt like being at home with family by the time I left. I will definitely stay there again.
We really enjoyed our stay. Clean and comfortable with and indoor pool. Staff was great. Btw they have an coin laundry and dryer. We were regular visitors to TGI Fridays and at a nice lunch at Not Your Average Joes across the street.
We arrived late with no reservations. They were so helpful and got us right into a king size bed room. Told us about the rewards program. Next morning at breakfast just as helpful and accommodating. We were so impressed with the cleanliness and decor as well.
This hotel is clearly very well run. Check in was smooth and the room was exceptionally clean and well accommodated, and breakfast was delicious. Little touches like service with a smile go a long way, and the staff was quite friendly and made you feel at home. I'd definitely return here!
It's not a brand new property but it has been extremely well maintained. Everything was in good working order, the housekeeping staff was exceptional, & the front desk folks were great. Not the most scenic views but everything we look for when traveling & convenient to several restaurants & shopping.
Hotel is well appointed and clean. Room was nice and the beds comfy. My only reason for no 5th star was that breakfast was only a bag with a water apple mini coffee cake and a breakfast bar, also the pool was closed due to Covid. Should have been on the website when booking. Front staff and management were very helpful and attentive.
I picked this hotel as it is less than 5 miles from Providence, this was my first stop of many. The staff was warm, and friendly. Location perfect. Value - excellent. Loved the to go bags ( due to Covid19 no breakfast) The hotel is a little older but very clean. I did not see USB plugs, which most hotels have now. I would recommend this property.
Very clean and friendly hotel. Great place! Great location. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone. This location offers a lot for their guest, pool, fitness center, guest laundry, full complimentary breakfast, and all the rooms have a microwave and mini fridge.
Visited family in the area, so we stayed here on Thanksgiving night. It was a nice Best Western (they are individually owned & operated). Clean, friendly staff, comfortable bed, good night's sleep. Hot breakfast with a friendly employee available to refresh items. Would definitely stay here again.
The front desk gave us excellent service. They went out of their way to accommodate us. The room was exceptionally clean and quiet, and the hallways were also clean. The indoor pool looked enticing but we didn't use it...and the breakfast had a wide variety of options available.
This hotel is in an excellent location. The staff especially the general manager go out of their way to help you in any way that is needed. The breakfast was hot and delicious. I cannot wait to go back because the bed was a dream. I have not slept that good in years.
My experience at this wonderful hotel was second to none. Every aspect of this hotel is exceptional. Every detail is appointed to from the grounds to the decor to the exceptional service there is match for this hotel and anyone traveling in this area must find their way here they will love the experience. Well done and thanks for the amazing job that this team has accomplished.
Went to Providence, R.I. to take our grandchildren out for trick/treats. Stayed at this Hotel where we have stayed before while visiting. Amenities are good and we always enjoy our stay. Place clean and nicely looked after. Salt water pool if desired. Breakfast good. Staff accommodating. Beds comfy. Only thing that could be enhanced is door closings which aren't quiet unless handled to close.
Very friendly reception. Checking in was a breeze. Room was big and clean. The location is good as it is pretty close to Providence. I have no complaints. For the type and price of the hotel it was a great choice.
My husband and I always choose Best Western hotel whenever we travel either for personal or business. We love the environment, friendly staff and cleanliness of the hotel and always to our expectations.
We stayed at this hotel from September 30 till October 3 in room 320. The breakfast is excellent organised. No cardboard plates or plastic tools, but china and silverware. Six different warm items and fresh fruit salad.
We were impressed by the cleanliness of the room. The breakfast was outstanding, with a good variety of hot and cold options. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to our family and friends.
Nice place and friendly service. I needed a room for the evening as well as use of the meeting room and everything worked out nicely. Clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful in setting up the meeting room to my specifications.
The hotel is in a good location, many amenities around from shopping, eating, gas. Close to area attractions, close drive to Providence, Newport, etc. Hotel is well appointed and clean, friendly staff.
We spent one night as we wanted to walk around Providence, RI the next day. Overall a great stay. The elevator sounds really bad while in use. I'm guessing it's safe, but not a calming riding experience. The room was fine, but rather dated. Breakfast was very well staffed with folks ready to address any need.
Stayed for one night in room 215 this past Saturday to Sunday and was not pleased with the cleanliness of the bathroom toilet! Hair all over the back and top of it! As a room attendant myself i know how important it is to not have the guest find 1 piece of hair anywhere im the room Nevermind all over the toilet! Housekeeping needs to do a better job in making sure this doesn't happen again. Also big thank you to the front desk guy who picked up the slack of housekeeping and cleaned our toilet himself!
We had a great stay. The room was nice and clean. Breakfast was good, lots of selection and very fresh. The room size was great and it was very clean. We had an issue with our T.V. They were there quickly and fixed it. No problem!
I was there for a week. This is one of the cleanest and friendliest hotels for the price. They go above and beyond with amenities and the entire staff from the front desk to the kitchen staff to the housekeeping staff, they all go the extra mile. The pool is an amazing salt water pool. The entire place is comfort controlled, and impeccably clean and updated. Love them all.
Very clean and updated. Staff attentive. Breakfast was fresh and nice options. Liked they allowed a one night stay in area compared to others who required a 2 night stay. Met our needs and location worked for area we visited.
The beds are the most comfortable Hotel Beds I have ever slept in my life. The front desk staff and general manager were outstanding in their customer service. Breakfast is complimentary and was hot and delicious. I will definitely stay at this hotel next time I travel to the area.
Clean, comfortable hotel in a convenient location. Several restaurants within walking distance. A short ride to Providence. Free breakfast and coffee and juices were available 24/7. Rooms were fairly quiet. Price was reasonable.
The rooms were comfortable, the staff was very helpful and the location was decent. Plenty of restaurant choices very close by and was close enough to Providence to enjoy our time there, but far enough away that we weren't in the middle of the tourist areas. The breakfast was your typical hotel free breakfast quality, but there were several more things to select from than I have seen prior.
Stayed 2 nights. Staff was pleasant, courteous, and helpful. Typical breakfast, but satisfying. Didn't get a chance to use the pool or the fitness center, though. Front desk also helpful, printing out eateries list and providing bathroom toiletries when we ran out. Only drawback is it's a bit of a drive to colleges we visited.
We stayed at the Best Western in Seekonk MA for 4 nights in July. Everything about this hotel is great! The staff are all very friendly and professional. The room was always kept very clean and the breakfast was delicious there was a variety of food to choose from and the two ladies who ran the kitchen were very friendly and constantly cleaning and bringing out more fresh food ! I would tell anyone who is going to be in the Seekonk MA area and is looking for a hotel stay at the Best Western !
Room 305.Nice 2 Queen room. Hotel breakfast is similar to all Best Westerns. Pool was very clean. Location good close enough to dine Fall River Mass restaurant's. Location slightly hidden. Just near a TGIF. There are restaurant's very close. Movie theater and target an out 1/2 miles away. Laundry only one washer and dryer. cost $1 for was water at front desk. Needed to start washer with gentle shake after closing lid. Stayed 5 nights. Refrigerator has small freezer so good for traveling with ice pack.
Clean, quiet and helpful friendly staff made our 3 night stay in July 2019 special. Breakfast is excellent, well prepared and presented and served on china with sliverware: much better than all the styrofoam used at many hotels' breafast rooms. Ladies running breakfast stay on top of things are are friendly to guests. Finally, we left a purse in the adjust breakfast eating area - when we looked for it 2 hours later, it had been turned in to the front desk by the maintenance man. Thank you!!
We arrived at 9.20pm to be told they had given our room to somebody else! No other rooms available. Avoid this place; they screw up but don't admit it. If I could give a zero rating I would have done.
When we go to Boston we stay here . From the time we arrived till will left we had a good time it"s a very nice hotel The room was nice abd comfortable The breakfast is great nice selection of food the hot foods were hot and fresh the bagels danish and muffins looked good too they have fresh fruits and cereals will be back soon
At first we were a little sceptical because we got such a good deal. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised. We got there an hour early and was allowed to check in right away. After driving for 2 hrs that was nice! The rooms were nice and clean. The pool was great. Everyone was so friendly. Even the breakfast was good. We will definitely be back!
Clean, comfortable hotel. The room I stayed in was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good with a variety of things to choose from. The housekeeping staff was always very punctual every morning. I would definitely stay here again the next time I visit Providence.
Very clean and up to date. Breakfast was excellent. The dining room staff kept items stocked, food fresh, and are clean. I never was able to connect to the WiFi but didn't really need it. If ever in the area again, I would definitely stay at this hotel.
Comfortable, clean and wonderful breakfast for reasonable price! All sorts of choices for breakfast. A step up from LaQuinta and Hampton. This is the best hotel close to Roger Williams University. Not too much to do in Seekonk or in and around the hotel, however.
The check-in process was quick and efficient, and the rooms were actually quite cute and a decent size. The beds were very comfortable and the room itself was very clean. As far as location, the hotel is located only minutes from route 195, and is close to other nice attractions in the area. The breakfast buffet was also delicious!
This was one of the Best Best westerns I have ever stayed at. This Hotel is high quality throughout. Very well presented rooms, great breakfast, excellent staff. Very good service. The room was large and the bed was very comfortable
I recommend this hotel for everybody the customer service is very good the rooms are very clean the breakfast it's awesome , they have a pool plus the gym ... the room its very quiet I had a very good night of sleep
I had a room on the third floor with a kingsize bed. The room was clean and spacious with a microwave and refrigerator included. There was also a comfortable arm chair with foot stool from which I could watch television with ease and not have to be on the bed. There was a wooden bench/stand on which I placed my suitcase for ease of packing/unpacking/retrieving items. The temperature of the room was comfortable, especially considering over the 3 days I was there the temperature ranged from a cold 25 degrees at the high to 50 degrees with hard wind & rain. Hot breakfast was just okay, but was plentiful enough. They had egg patties, scrambled eggs (overcooked because kept in a warmer), homefries, sausage patties, and french toast. And the lobby had a basket of crisp red apples, which were a nice snack. Exercise room was adequate for my needs. A very good restaurant, "Not your Average Joe's" was just across the street and a great place for dinner.
I have stayed there several times when I visited Rhode Island 3 years ago they won many awards but as the years have gone by things have gone down. Their ratings have showed it let's get this property back up to where it was I will have to think twice about staying there again. Rome was only cleaned three times out of a 9 night stay I do understand it was Christmas but the chambermaids were only there for two to three hours a day
The location is very convenient. Just 10 minutes south of Providence off 195. The staff was very nice and the breakfast had many items to offer (hot and cold). The rooms have a microwave and fridge which is always a plus. We will definitely stay here again!
It was our Grandson's fifth birthday party on Saturday and we stayed over in the Providence area at the closest Best Western which wound up being fairly new). We took both my Grandson and Granddaughter to use the pool and because their parents were going to a Christmas Party that night we had a sleepover. The kids as well as my wife and I had a great time because of the indoor heated salt water pool they have at the Best Western. Needless to say, if you have Grandchildren or even your children I'm sure you understand how important a pool can be, especially in the winter! What a night and next morning after we enjoyed our complimentary breakfast to use the pool again. Hard to get them out.
Excellent value. Great location (lots of restaurants nearby to choose from and only a short hop, skip and a jump from downtown Providence). Delightful, friendly staff, though not very helpful when it came to helping me get on to the wifi.Very springy, squeaky bed (it was raised on what could best be described as overturned flower pots). Super clean sheets though, yay! Very small gym with an older version treadmill that I almost kept slipping off… no water left in the gym, though I reported it to the early morning staff member (around 6.45am) and it was replaced the next day (thank you!).Bit of a crappy first night's sleep (lots of people moving around the corridors at all hours), but I slept wonderfully the next night. Room could have been cleaner – I found food from a previous guest under the bed.
First few nights were ok. Then a bunch of highschool basketball players come in without any real supervision. Walls pretty thin. Can hear people talking. Thanks. Terrible coffee packets in the rooms. Housekeeping was very good at their job.
This hotel is a great value. It is our favorite place to stay when in the area. The staff is great and the area where it is located is wonderful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Seekonk, Massachusetts area.
Location is convenient with many food and shopping options nearby. Hotel is clean, not necessarily welcoming on this particular afternoon. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast selection of hot./cold buffet was good.
The hotel had a pool, exercise room and laundry for guest use. The room was very large, as was the bathroom, and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was particularly good with hot and cold choices (good corned beef hash).
My husband and I stayed here for four nights it was our base for our day trips around the Providence Rhode Island area. We had a room with a king bed. It appears that it may have been newly renovated as everything was fresh and looked new. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of pillows The bathroom and entryway had very nice tile. The shower was good and I really liked the grab bar to step in the bath. There were conditioner and shampoo dispensers in the shower and there were also dispensers at the sink. This was Great because we did not run out of these items. There was also a bar soap available. My husband and I don't have sensitive skin or special hair needs so these products worked fine. The heating and air was good. The breakfast was nice and had hot items as well as cereals. It was centrally located for our day trips to Mendon, Plymouth, and Newport. I think it is a good value for the room rate.
This was certainly an all-round top choice. Being ‘quiet' was a bonus for us – the pool was empty, just my wife& I using it, and breakfast saw us with a choice of tables. The young lady receptionist gave us a pleasant welcome and the large (king bed) room was clean and tidy with quality furniture – all the usuals including a microwave. The bathroom was with a tub and shower over. Wi-Fi signal was strong. Breakfast offered a good choice – quite the best that we have encountered on our tour of this area – just wish the attendant could have looked happier! Another bonus: Our key card gave us a 20% discount at TFI Fridays, nearby.
My wife and I were in the Seekonk area for a 15 year reunion. We decided to stay at the Best Western right of the highway. For the price, it was the most comfortable room my wife and I have ever had. The breakfast buffet was also the BEST we have ever had.
When we go to Boston we stay here they finished renovating the hotel it looks great. The hotel staff is very good from the time we checked in till we left we were taken care of. The breakfast is always good hot foods are hot the have a variety of foods from bagels and danish to muffins cereals and fresh fruits will be back soon
Great hotel Staff is awesome. And crystal is a doll and beautiful inside and out.plenty of restaurants and things around to do.3 anytime fitness locations with in 30 minutes.best internet speed so far.fitness center needs some work and new equiptment.
Picked the Best Western because it was a good location to visit both Boston and Cape Cod from. The hotel is not a fancy establishment but you get a clean comfortable room, breakfast included though this is pretty poor fare, restaurants just round the corner and its quiet. Not where i would pick for a holiday but for our 4 night stay it was ideal and we would choose it again.
It was a very long drive from Cape elizabeth to Cape code. And it started to rain on the way. So we decided to make a stop in this hotel. The room was nice and the reception team were friendly and helpful .
Second time staying here. Nice inn, friendly staff, clean comfortable rooms in a convenient location. I visit Rhode Island a few times a year & I will continue to stay here. There are a few restaurants within walking distance.
Excellent customer service, excellent breakfast, excellent room... Is very close off the highway easy access to get in and get out a lot of restaurants r right close to the hotel The rooms are very clean Internet it's good channels are good I have a very good stay
we stayed for one night. the staff was very nice and friendly and willing to help with anything. the room was nice and clean. the hotel location is very good. very basic but enough for our needs. overall good experience :)
We came after long drive. We were very tired. So happy to find the 2 receptionists so helpful. One of them helped us to find our rewards account of BW. The room was nice and the beds comfortable. There is a big shopping center close to hotel
Great location, with plenty of restaurants and grocery very close by. Lindsay was very welcoming upon arrival, and helpful during our short stay. Breakfast was decent , although the breakfast area was somewhat tight for space. The room was clean and comfortable, yet, the bed was NOT firm to say the least. Plenty of pillows, but, may want to sleep on floor if one has back problems. Would consider returning to hotel, due to its proximity to Providence city limits, and eateries.
What can I say. Nothing much to distinguish the place. Parking, check. breakfast, check. room with decent beds, fridge in the room, clean, no bugs, no mold, just kind of an average motel, folks were friendly, the wifi was fine
The room was very large and comfortable. There is a little kitchenette with fridge and Microwave. The Wi-Fi worked very well. There is plenty of free Parking. The reception staff were very helpful. Not far from the Hotel is Wal-Mart and Target. The breakfast was very good. You can drive to Providence in 15 minutes. Newport is about 45 minutes from the Hotel. Would stay again if we were passing.
We had a good night's rest at this Best Western hotel. The breakfast is good. The decor of the breakfast room, the lobby and the rooms is modern and well kept. Friendly staff that care. Easy parking at the hotel.
Very comfortable rooms. I had a king size bed, comfy mattress. Very clean. Breakfast was included which offered scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, French toast, home fries, bagels, pastries, English muffins, yogurt, cereals, juice, and coffee. There was an indoor heated pool open until 10. Staff was friendly and helpful. Stayed 4 nights, Mon-Thurs.
We stayed here for Brown U graduation since everything in Providence was sold out. The experience was terrific. The staff went out of their way to make our stay excellent and the location is quite convenient. It has everything you need and is very comfortable. It's a quiet location.
What a great hotel. Large very clean rooms with a full breakfast in the morning. Nice staff and the hotel is close to many restaurants and shopping. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Seekonk, MA or visiting someone at Roger Williams University. This is by far the closest hotel to RWU.
Once we located this modest hotel, we were set. However, Google simply mentions Exit 1 from I-195 and you MUST KNOW not to panic, exit at (RI) Exit 2 and search. Seekonk is in Massachusetts and parts of it in RI. Locals in India Point don't' drive or are too smart to drive so do not offer up cogent road directions to those lost at Exit 2. Just pass Exits 7 and 8 and be ready for Exit 114A (twds Barrington) and NOT any other exits 114. Phew! Hotel? Affordable. Clean. AND staff is friendly and breakfast, EXCELLENT (value and taste). Make no mistake, you can get to Brown, etc. from the hotel. It's all in knowing, exploring and for the gifted among us who have iPhones w/GPS OR the USMC which can navigate from a map!
First of all the staff is superb. Sam, Bob, Crystal, Lyndsay kevin & Manny are truly all professionals and are very friendly. I travel here a lot and would not consider staying anywhere else. The rooms are clean the food is good. The laundry room is a great addition and its well maintained this is truly the Best of the best westerns. From Andre
Staying at best western gives you the overall experience of a vacation stay without leaving the comforts of your home. Starting with the check in process, which was quick and uncomplicated, to the excellent complimentary HOT breakfast, providing fresh news papers, best western provides quality value and comfort.
The hotel was nice but i expected a Jacuzzi and a nicer fitness room. The receptionist was kind and helpful, in making us satisfied. The air conditioner was annoyingly loud, but the room was clean and comfortable otherwise.
This is not a fancy hotel. It is very utilitarian. But more importantly, it is very very clean. There is a breakfast buffet with eggs, sausage, fruit, etc. Not fancy, but filling. The coffee is great. There is an indoor pool that looked very nice. Like many hotels the walls are thin, so you hear your neighbors to a certain extent. Unlike other reviewers I found the heating system noisy, plus the microfridge in our room gurgled off and on. We were only here to sleep, so I would stay again, the price is right.
Stayed there 2 nights over Presidents weekend. Not fancy but clean, comfy beds, quiet heater and great breakfast buffet. We shopped around for a place in the Providence area and this was the best deal. Just off I-195 so access to Providence is easy. We will be back.
Have stayed here once in January and once in November. Great rates. The rooms have been identical. They were both clean and up to date. I don't think the hotel is that old. Very quiet hotel. It's got a pool, but I didn't get to use it. Beds were soft and bedding was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was excellent with very hot water (and powerful shower). I'll def. stay here again.
I Visited the Best western in Seakonk, Ma for 4 days last week , and the customer service and friendliness was amazing !! Crystal was very helpful, attentive, and over outstand with the customer service. She has a great personality !! Thanks for a great stay !
We have been staying at this Hotel since it opened. It is always a good experience. Rooms are always clean and well taken care of. It has been updated recently and very nice. Employees are very cordial and always available to help if needed. Price for the Hotel is very reasonable and competitive with other similar Hotels in the area. Very good value for the price. We will continue to stay here when going to Rhode Island.
Best Western offered a medium price range in comparison to many hotels--many on a holiday. In our area the prices go up almost 50% or more when it is a holiday and tourists are in town. We also appreciated a full breakfast and were surprised.
The hotel is well kept, clean and very friendly staff, clean. The room was well appointed with furnishings (desk/chair, sitting chair) microwave and fridge. There are hot and cold choices at breakfast and the breakfast room is well maintained.
Another great overnight stay at Best Western. Convenient to shopping and restaurants. Room is spacious and quiet. Microwave and refrigerator are great for snacks and drinks. Always stay here when visiting St.Andrews School for basketball events, very close to school.
They served a great breakfast with more and better options than at higher priced motels/hotel chains. The best asset of the fitness center was the universal weight machine but the elliptical was basic/bare bones.
Perfect accommodations! They staff was very professional, loved the pool and breakfast. I recommend the Best Western anytime to those traveling in Seekonk. A huge thank you to housekeeping, the rooms were spotless everytime.
Nice hotel for the price you cannot find any other hotel this clean.the front desk and breakfast room are extremely friendly. It's very convenience to expressway and 20 minutes to PVD airport. I recommend to anyone.
Convenient location right off Interstate 195. Many places to eat and shop are located near by. We thought the price was very good price. They have computers you can use in the business center, great for printing those boarding passes. We found the staff to be exceptional and very approachable.
Great hotel, price and location! Very clean. Nice size room. 20% off at TGIF FRIDAY which is next door for Best Western customers. Breakfast was very good and tons of choices. We would definitely stay there again.
We stayed there for several days in September, and found it to be a clean and safe property. There were several dining options close by, and getting places from here was easy. Price was in line with other options in the area.
Great location, convenient to Bristol/Warren RI (and Barrington). Was a place to perch as I visited my sister. Horribly overpriced. Hotel is just lower side of average, price I paid was for a much nicer hotel. I chose it for the location.
We chose this location as a lower priced alternative to downtown Providence. Uber ride was about 15 minutes. The room was fine. We were on the 3rd floor. However every time the bell from the elevator sounded, we could hear it. Every time someone's room door swung shut our room shook. It started around 6am. WHAM. WHAM. WHAM. And when I got out of bed I discovered blood on my sheets. It was not mine. There was none on my clothing and no cuts anywhere on me. I called the front desk and mentioned it again at check out and was told “that's very unlike our cleaning staff.” (Uh, I should hope not) and he said he would discuss it with housekeeping. The bathroom was clean and the room was otherwise clean. I am not sure if I will stay here again.
I have to say the hotel is very nice, and clean and the staff is very attentive. The rooms are very clean and that is something I always look at first. The breakfast was great, hot and tasty. Give it a try plus if you are a member of Best Western you get points for your stay. Plus you have tons of restaurants and shops all over, location is great.
The hotel is centrally located, with restaurants and shops close at hand. A fifteen minute drive to Providence and about 35 mins. to Newport. The desk staff were really helpful and efficient. The rooms were of a good size, clean and well decorated. The breakfast was very good and plenty of seating. It is quite a busy area but the hotel is set far enough back for there to be no problem with noise.
Stayed here for two nights to explore the area. Nice staff, good room, facilities and breakfast. We stayed here in prep for next leg of our trip- a week on cape cod.( hurricane getting closer!) Went over to Newport to visit The breakers mansion ( boat show on !) met the Mayor who was in the tourist info helping out.
Stayed Sunday night as 'walk-ins' with a small discount. Our double queen room was on the 3rd floor and was clean, quiet and comfortable, but had a curious smell (dogs?!). The free wifi had a good signal. Bathroom was adequate with decent towels. There is some remodelling work ongoing, but this didn't affect us at the weekend. The included breakfast was satisfactory. We had a great steak dinner at the adjacent TGI Fridays, with a 20% food discount via the Hotels key. There is a small indoor pool off reception, but we didn't get chance to use it. A reasonable overnighter.
Central location, easy on and off the highway. Convenient to the shore and to Providence - the airport is only 15 minutes away. Well maintained hotel, pleasant and professional staff. Great breakfast, quiet room, reliable housekeeping. Shopping and restaurants nearby or within a quick drive. Miniature golf, go-karts and arcades nearby for entertaining the kids. Nice arrangement with a nearby Friday's restaurant for hotel patrons to receive a dining discount. They have thought of everything.
Our stay was from Sunday to Tuesday ... My husband and I wanted to go to the Nordic Lodge, but we didn't want to drive up and back the same day. The Best Western chain was what we were focused on and we were actually trying to stay in Connecticut (shorter ride home). What won me over in securing the reservation was the restaurants it said was available in the surrounding area. Well .... It was about an hour's drive from The Lodge, not bad for us. There was a nice selection of restaurants, fast food places included, for our other meals. We could walk to TGIF's and our key card gave us a 20% discount on our meal. Breakfast was pretty good. I'm used to having a waffle maker at places that provide breakfast. I didn't miss my waffles at this place. The pool was open and the water wasn't bad. It's about a minute from the main highway and it's about an hour's drive from Cape Cod, according to my GPS. For the Walmart lovers, there's one about a block away. The staff was friendly, the place was clean and it's definitely in a convenient location. The big question ... would I stay there again? I sure would.
We were a bit put off by the exterior of the hotel when we first pulled up. It is very plain and they are priming parts of the walls, hopefully for repainting, so it looks a little unappealing. The lobby is small and everything in it is proportionately small, including the fireplace. But the rooms are very nice. They probably have been recently remodeled. The beds were very comfortable and had four pillows each...we loved that. Everything was spotless. We wish there were little bottles of shampoo and lotion rather than the wall dispensers in the rooms, but I'm almost embarrassed to mention it because everything else was so satisfactory, and at a good price. The other stars of the show at the Best Western Seekonk are the staff. Bob, the manager, was just terrific. We got the rooms we asked for---quiet and adjacent to our travel companions. Bob arranged for early check-in, as he said he would. When we had some wi-fi trouble, he had it fixed. Also, the women in the breakfast room were always there to refill the hot dishes, promptly make more coffee, and ask if we needed anything. Oh...the exercise area was basic but fine. I used three pieces of equipment and they did the job. One member of our party tried the pool and enjoyed it. The Best Western Seekonk-Providence is a good place to stay in the pricey Providence area, with good prices, great staff, and easy access to fast food and chain stores if needed.
The location to this hotel is perfect. Lots of eats, stores and even the grand prix (go-Kart racing). This hotel is local to us but we stayed on a daycation type trip. The hotel is very clean and the night staff was very friendly. They also have this deal with TGI Fridays which I think its perfect if you are staying in over the weekend. The pool is very clean and big enough for a nice dip. Towels in the pool are seemed to be stocked up frequently and shower is neatly kept. We stayed in a deluxe room which was pretty big and definitely comfortable. The bed was oh so amazing especially after a day at block island. The soap, shampoo, lotion dispensers are very convenient but the tooth brushes offered at the lobby were not. The taste of the tooth paste on the brush wasn't pleasant but maybe that's just me being picky. The breakfast was delicious. I love their variety plus it free! In fact I was excited about their breakfast since I booked the hotel. However, the lady who worked breakfast wasn't in a good mood that day and put a dent in my breakfast experience. All in all the place is clean, friendly staff upon check in, great location and most importantly it was comfortable. I would definitely stay again!
That was a nice located hotel, very clean, big rooms, no smell, nice pool, very rich hot breakfast despite there were not those big waffles. The fruits not too fresh but overall was a great breakfast.
Stayed here for 5 days while visiting family in RI. The front desk folks were very nice and the gals taking care of the breakfast area were very nice and helpful. The room was ok and the bathroom was too, not bad for what we needed, but the room had a musty smell from the A/C running (we bought a Renewzit for the room, didn't do much) and it would have helped if some outside air could get in. The vacuum may have been run through the room once or twice but not for the last 3 days (small fabric pieces in the middle of the carpet up till we left). And heavy dust on the furniture too. I wouldn't say this would keep me out, but a bit more attention would have been nice.
Room was clean, a/c worked beautifully, staff was awesome. Love the laundry facilities. We stayed here and did day trips to Boston, Providence, Cape Cod, etc. It was easy to get to and we love the Chik fi let across the street! I would definitely stay here again.
Reserved an accessible room for my parents and a standard room for myself. Was upgraded to a deluxe room. Both rooms had king size beds that were on risers. Rooms were clean. The staff were great and the breakfast was very good. The room was just what we needed for a night between visiting old high school friends for my Mom.
We stay using our points at this hotel in Seekonk , MA for game night. The hotel was only about 7 miles from the ball park and easy to get to from the hotel. We at at the Friendly's next to the hotel.
Second time I've stayed in this hotel. It was as good as the first time. Inexpensive in price but classy in appearance since off-the-beaten path a little. We stayed on top level (3rd floor). Somewhat quieter but need more soundproofing from hallway.
Seekonk is central to all our relative & business dealings on in New England. Nice & clean, in a good business area w/ plenty of restaurants & shopping. But mainly the excellent staff always treats us very well.
We stayed here for a couple of nights. Hotel was clean, customer service was good and the hotel had all needed amenities. It has a pool, laundry, business center and conference center. It is 15 minutes away from Federal Hill, Province.
I have reviewed the Best Western in Seekonk Massachusetts before but after a recent visit, I must add new comments. It has been a 9 months or so since my last stay and there have been significant improvements. The hotel has gone through a significant remodel, with new furniture in the rooms, new carpeting and repaired exit doors. I usually get an enhanced king size room because I need a good desk to spend too many hours working ! The new desks are exceptional, the beds are very comfortable and the room even smells clean! The Televisions even work better. This Best Western as others has a breakfast area and breakfast every morning. The folks taking care of the breakfast area are very friendly and do a very good job keeping the place going. Overall; this place is very comfortable, affordable rates and close to all in the Providence, Barrington, Bristol corridor.
This is my 2nd time staying at Best Western and each time has been pleasant and wonderful. The staff is always amazing and if I needed anything, they were happy to help. Breakfast was better this time around and the staff here is always amazing! Keep up the good work, guys!
Nice facility , but attempts to correct problems were not successful. Quality of food used at breakfast has slipped. Would stay again , but need some assurance that any further problems will be addressed promptly.
The cost of this hotel far exceeded its quality. Almost $200 a night for a room that was full of dust everywhere and not clean; a t.v. no one could hear with volume controls; an ineffectual night staff who failed to keep guests quiet on our floor: partying well after 1:00 a.m. and incredibly noisy; average breakfast; sort of non-existent lobby - not suitable to meet a guest or sit down - and front desk was unable to give us adequate directions to the highway!
Newly updated rooms very comfortable and cozy! Great staff very helpful and pleasant and understanding. Fast check in Fast check out good breakfast All things in room work well Great place great people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Second time we stayed here and we find it good and reasonably priced. Self service breakfast has everything you could need and the staff in the breakfast room are polite, friendly and helpful. Our room and bathroom was a fine size and very comfortable.
Good value for the money. I usually stay in more upscale properties but needed somewhere convenient for one night. The room was large and immaculate and the staff was very helpful and pleasant. The only negative: I found the lighting in the bathroom to be very poor.
Rooms were on the small side. Beds were comfortable but the bathroom could be cleaner. Some furniture and corridor fittings appeared worn. Breakfast was good in terms of selection and quality. There's even a small indoor pool too, though we didn't have the chance to use it. In the evenings, you don't have to go far for a wide choice of nice restaurants. Overall, it's a convenient place to rest and relax en route to Newport based in the outskirts of Providence.
We stay here when we go to Boston .This hotel is great, The people were nice from check-in to check-out The person doing the breakfast was good very friendly the food was good too the hot food was hot and it looked fresh check-out was easy
Our stay was great.. the staff was very helpful.. and honest. Because we left a few items in the room and called to get them, they were ready and waiting on the front desk for us. And the staff was very kind and friendly.
Signs said hotel was under renovation, which made me nervous. But our room seemed brand new. The decor was up-to-date, the bed super comfortable. Attractive wood furniture and cabinetry. Granite in the bath and coffee bar. Extremely clean room, right down to the Clean Remote. I imagine the lobby will be spruced up during the rest of the renovation. The staff was very welcoming; even phoned our room to be sure we were comfortable. Free breakfast was a step above most of the other chains I've stayed at.
I travel to this area for work about once a month. I've been staying at this hotel for about 3 or 4 years, and can't say that I've ever had a bad experience. The hotel is always clean, and the people are very friendly. I do a lot of travel for work, and have found Best Western to be the best value. I was a faithful customer of one of their large competitors for years, but made the switch because I started to notice the quality going down as prices were going up. I like Best Western because they offer nice rooms at a reasonable rate.
the overall stay was above average .the staff was very friendly and inviting. They were very helpful when our key did not work in the door. The complimentary breakfast was above par. The one recommendation is to better assess the cleanliness of the pool. The filtration system appeared to be in need of repair water did not seem as clean or clear as it should be. Overall good value for the price.
It was not planned that she would "bunk in" with us, but it was no problem. It made her day special. Silly suuurrrrvey is asking for more words, but I am done, so this added nonsense is just so it will process on the submit button.
We stayed t this hotel for 3 nights in August 2016. From the minute we arrived till we left the staff was very helpful. The rooms were clean, same as the bathrooms. Breakfast was plentiful, a little bit for everybody.
The room was large and clean . The breakfast buffet was way above average. The indoor pool was large and comfortable. Walking distance to Friendly's restaurant. Easy access to all major roadways. This was one of the better Best Westerns I have stayed at. The price is very reasonable as well.
The hotel is very clean. The breakfast selections were plentiful with a lot of options. The staff is very friendly. The pool was clean and had plenty of towels for guests. Room was a great size and there was plenty of HOT water. Vending machines and ice machines were convenient. Looking forward to staying again.
We needed a cost-effective base of acceptable quality for exploring some sites in New England within about a 60 mile radius. It gave us everything we'd hoped for and more: clean, comfortable, spacious room with good fridge and microwave, very friendly staff and helpful staff, a good breakfast, free newspaper, coffee and a very good choice of other hot drinks - and fruit juices - any time you wish, and a computer room (handy when our phone was temporarily having problems with wi-fi connections). Sound insulation seemed very good though I'd put a small question mark over that between rooms - we both heard and felt, through the wall, next door's highly passionate lovemaking the first morning! Fortunately they must have checked out that day (or had worn themselves out.) That apart I give it five stars as it gave us what we expected, and we left contented with our stay.
this is a average Hotel in a very average location. Good breakfast. Its clean but nothing fancy. Decent price. You get what you pay for. I would only stay here again if I needed to do something in this area.
We stayed here for two nights during our New England Color trip. It was very reasonably priced, clean, and a provided for your basic needs. There were places to eat within walking distance of the hotel.
Great proximity to Providence and only 40 minutes from Foxborough (no traffic) where Gillette Stadium is for Patriots games. The drive is well worth the difference in price on game days. The rooms are large and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful.
We stayed 2 nights and it was a good choice. We booked 3 rooms, we had 2 queen size beds in each. The breakfast was lovely : cereals , eggs, bagels, English muffins, juices, yogurt, fresh fruit, cream cheese, jams.
After surviving our first car trip through New York City, we arrived ready to crash at this Best Western. We were welcomed by the staff, easy check in, and provided with possibilities for supper take away. Quiet, cool, comfy bed, clean room, great WiFi, good breakfast the next morning. Just what we needed to be refreshed.
I stayed at this hotel as it was close to Providence but a good value for the money compared to hotels in Providence. I am thrify. It not only fit my budget but was clean and bed was comfortable. I will stay again
Pro : free parking, wifi, breakfast included. There is a pool and some restaurants in the neibourhood. Good bed and clean. Negatives : the hotel is old and not nice ! The interior pool isn't attracting. The breakfast is basic and not that good...
My cousin and I were visiting friends in Pawtuckett and this hotel was located 15 minutes from where they live. Overall, this hotel was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. The inside and outside of the property was clean. The price was reasonable as compared to the hotels in downtown Providence. Our queen room was nice and comfortable and had a microwave and refrigerator. The bathroom was always clean and had lotion/soap dispenser at the sink and in the shower. The hotel offers a free breakfast which includes hot/cold items - delicious! The hotel offers free computer use and free wi-fi. There are several stores/restaurants within walking distance to the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel in you are in the Seekonk area!
We always come back to this hotel when we are in the area visiting family. Great hotel and staff. Best Western Seekonk, Ma is also located in a great location. Easy access to the highway and located near shops and restaurants.
The hotel is in a convenient location close to the highway, restaurants, and grocery stores. The breakfast was great, and the attendants were more than kind and helpful. The mattresses are not super comfortable but not terrible either. The rooms could use some updating. The main issue we faced is the presence of bed bugs (see attached photo). Initially I thought the bites were mosquito bites. Unfortunately, the morning of checking out, I discovered a bedbug, which explained the excessive itching and skin irritation. The manager said there is nothing he could do since we booked through an online booking service. We had to go through major hassle to make sure we didn't transfer the bugs back home with us. We will never stay at this hotel again.
This is a great hotel. When we go to Boston we stay here from the time we arrive to the time we leave we have a good stay. The rooms are a nice size. The breakfasts are great too hot foods are hot and look good they have bagels. muffins. Danishes cold cereals coffee. Tea and juices. The people are very nice and friendly, We like staying here.
our room was on the third floor, clean, quiet and I liked the soap, body wash, shampoo, cream rinse and lotion are in dispensers. We were in Seekonk to attend a NASCAR race. This Best Western is close to the race track. This is a non smoking and no pet hotel which is what I always look for when traveling. Breakfast was very good with an attendant there to help if needed. The bed was comfortable.
We stayed here on a recent raid trip while travelling through and were not disappointed. We were greeted and checked in by two of the most helpful staff we encountered on our 3 week trip. The were friendly, informative and knew everything we needed to know. The male member of staff recommended the meat loaf at Not Your Average Joes across the road and he wasn't wrong. I'm sorry we never took their names to list on here. The hotel was clean and tidy. Rooms were spacious and had everything we needed including fridge. They were modern and well presented. A lovely little pool area for our younger children to blow off some energy. Breakfast was great too, it had all the basics plus some. There really was something for everyone. You wouldn't go away hungry. A good value nights stay too. Free on site parking and a great restaurant/ bar just within walking distance. Would highly recommend.
We were visiting family in the area and have had good experiences with Best Westerns - so decided to try this one. Our room was quiet and comfortable for this weekend stay - and we were very pleased with the breakfast offerings both mornings. Our room furniture was a little worn, and our wifi was substandard and almost unusable on the Saturday evening when the hotel seemed to be full. Performance was much better late at night and on Sunday.
We stayed here for three nights and it was great! Very surprised how nice the room was and the Breakfast was the best I got in a Hotel for a very long time! Staff was very Friendly and helpful and you are very close to Boston and we did enjoy our stay!
Our family read all the wonderful reviews about the hotel and were sure it was a gem. We were charged for an item we never requested and didn't sleep because of the parties in the hallway. We alerted the front desk but the guests returned to the hallways to continue their get together. We didn't have any peace and quiet here. Breakfast was wonderful and the breakfast attendant was wonderful. Unfortunately, we will never stay here again
We have used this hotel every time we go to Boston, Its close enough and very affordable. The people are very friendly the breakfast was great food was hot and fresh. Its a very nice wikk be bacl soon
Professional and helpful staff. Always ready to make your stay more enjoyable. Location is convenient to sites in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. The Business Center has computers for printing those all important boarding passes.
Great value for dollar (US$92/night for 3 nights). Well located for shopping and visiting Providence, Fall River, Boston (1 hr drive). Great helpful staff. Nice interior pool. Very clean pool. Nice full breakfast. Would definitely go back if visiting the same area.
The room was clean, the bed is comfortable and the breakfast choice was good and friendly service by the lady at the dining room. The location is only 13 minutes away from the Dunking Donuts arena in Providences RI. we were there for 1 night.
We were traveling up from Maryland and needed a place to stay near Providence for our college trip to see Brown. I recommend this as an ecomomical choice for downtown Providence hotels and it is not too far away from the city. This is a nicer Best Western with easy parking just out front. The breakfasts are much better than other BW's we have used. Althought this hotel doesn't seem to be in a town, there are a few fun restaurants within walking distance that make it nice to have nearby after a long drive when you need to stretch your legs after traveling. What's amazing is that one of the restaurants is my favorite upscale chain called Not Your Average Joe's which has excellent food (but can be more pricey.) We chose TGIF's where we got healthy salads at half the cost of Joe's. After all; we may need the money to pay for Brown and we have twins!
Great, clean, comfortable, and friendly place to stay. Helpful staff; delicious hot and cold breakfast items very well presented and stocked! There are a lot of good shopping places in the area for any needs one may have. Nice, warm pool!
This is the best hotel at this price point. It's better than many costlier hotels as well. Its clean and you feel fresh here. The check-in and check-out are very quick. Rooms are very comfy and fresh. They all have refrigerator and microwave. It helps big time. I have stayed here several weeks and hotel staff is very courteous and always ready to help. Best western become my most favorite hotel chain because of my experience here... Best western is BEST!
After taking a whale watching cruise in Provincetown, we decided to spend the night in Seekonk before heading to Newport the next day. The room was an excellent size and had a little kitchenette area with a microwave, fridge, etc. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was large and spacious and had pumps for lotions and soaps to cut down on the tiny plastic bottles. Breakfast was standard hot/cold breakfast fare. The breakfast worker, Jackie, was very friendly and worked to meet the needs of the guests. We then had a short 50 minute drive to Newport (Easton's Beach) where we did the Cliff Walk and spent some time on the beach.
Staff friendly and helpful, great breakfast with more options than expected. Large comfortable rooms. Love that they are more environmentally conscious with recycling bins and large containers for toiletries that get refilled. Overall great night.
great place with reasonable price compare to other hotel , also great service friendly staff very polite and helpful I highly recommend Best Western to every body , who travel for business or pleasure.
This hotel was a typical BW; not the best, not the worst. Check-in was easy, breakfast items were a little "odd" tasting, not sure why. However, I appreciate a hotel that has complimentary breakfast of any kind. Great location to other restaurants and stores. We met a friend at Panera's for lunch and shopped until we dropped at TJ Maxx.
I spent one week on this hotel. It is very close to Walmart, Target, TJMAX, Friday 's and other good options to buy some stuff and have dinner. It is almost 1h and a half from Boston. The staff is kind, the Internet works properly and the breakfast is good. The apartment' size is ok and the bed is pretty confortable. The restrom should be renewed, but is fine for one week. If needed to return tô this City, I would stay here again.
Stayed here this past weekend for a lacrosse tournament with about 10 other families. The girl at the front desk ( I think Diana? Dana?) was super nice and accommodating. She let us us the big conference room down by the lobby to hang out with the team while the boys swam so that we could all be close by. Anytime we saw her, she asked if we needed anything. They put us all on the same floor which was nice and convenient and kept the loud boys away from other guests (smart move on their part :) ) It was a great stay and the staff made it better!
Very helpful staff...stayed here while attending a family wedding.Bob at the front desk was as very courteous on the phone and in person upon our arrival.the rooms were large all clean and Bob was nice enough to accommodate our request for a slightly early check in. Would recommend and would stay here again..
Stayed while visiting Rhode Island College. Rooms were clean and had a refrigerator and microwave. The beds were a little stiff for my liking, but that is nit picking. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was better than a lot of other places we have stayed. The fitness center equipment could work a little better, the stuff had seen better days. Overall I have no real complaints
Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. Very conveniently located it was a comfortable stay. The staff were very friendly and informative. Rooms a little dated but perfectly acceptable. A wonderful free breakfast every morning really set us up for the day. Good speed WiFi too. Having a self serve laundry room was very convenient. Didn't get to use the pool as it was usually full of kids but it looked nice. Would stay here again.
I read others reviews on this hotel and was pleased with the hotel. It isn't a 5 star hotel by any means, but what Best Western is? All the hotel staff were great, especially the lady in the dining room. She is a gem! The hotel does look a little rough in some areas (exercise equipment and small things that could repaired or cleaned up.) I was very happy with the price and friendliness of this hotel.
Compared with the downtown Providence the price is very affordable and the location is also good. The connection to Providence is fast. The place is clean and you get the standard Best Western style breakfast (which always has too many sweat things, however).
We have never been big on Best Western USA hotels but we booked here for the Brown graduation since this was the closest hotel we could get. With 3 colleges graduating on the same weekend everything was full. It was 15 minutes to Brown which was acceptable since it was all highway. It's the little things about Best Westerns that you notice. Almost stale or cold breads/baked goods, half empty slots of teas (not filled in the 4 days we were there), empty paper towels in the lobby ladies room (I reported it and they filled it but the automatic dispenser never worked so you needed to use tissues), not even a pen & pad of paper in the room and on 3 floors of cold drink machines not one had any water in the 4 days we were there. I do think they use too much bleach in their towels because you can still smell it when drying off your face or hair. On the plus side there were enough towels for both of us and the king bed and bedding we really good. And, they have a recycle bin and refrigerator in the room. If you are just there overnight then this is an acceptable place but for what we paid I didn't think it rated any more than I gave it. No, we would not stay here again if we could get other options when reserving a room.
Months ago, I searched high and low for a hotel in Providence RI where my family can stay for my daughter's graduation at Brown University. The hotels within a 1- to 3-mile radius from Brown were too pricey, in spite of less than stellar reviews for some of them. Fortunately, I also set my sights just across the Providence River into Seekonk MA and found this Best Western Hotel, and the location was perfect! It was just 5 miles away from Brown, and it took less than 10 minutes to reach College Hill approaching from the east--- away from the traffic congestion in Providence/west of Brown during graduation weekend. Sure, it isn't a swanky downtown hotel, but the rooms are very clean and comfortable, the staff are friendly and courteous, and I believe I got a great value for my money. The only suggestion I'll make is for them to rotate their breakfast options, instead of lining up all of the same meats, eggs, potatoes, etc. every morning. But other than that--- yes, I was very happy with my stay, and I will book at Best Western Seekonk once again when I find myself back in Providence :)
It was a great place. We wanted to do Rhode Island and it was. NEar to everything.originally we were thinking of going to the cape but wanted to stay put. They made that happen for us. The front desk staff was awesome.
Overall our stay was very pleasant. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. During check-in, the manager provided a roll-away bed within minutes to our room. The only thing that I was not happy about was that breakfast was supposed to be between 6:30 and 9:30. As I entered the breakfast area at 9:15 the girl had already cleared all the breakfast foods except the cereal, bagels, and sliced bread. That happened the day after check-in. The following day I made it in just a little bit earlier and actually got some eggs and bacon. I don't feel like I should have to get up earlier to eat if I don't have to. Other than that our stay was very pleasant.
I frequently stay at Best Western hotels while traveling as I like the consistency in the value I receive. This property was one of the superior Best Westerns I've stayed in. Very clean, well appointed, highly competent and helpful staff, and good breakfast! Can't think what else you would want in a hotel room?
We go to Boston often and when we go we stay here, The people here are great very friendly rooms are nice clean and comfortable. Breakfast is always great too 6 hot foods and a variety of other foods, Check-out id easy too
Great place to stay. Our 5th or 6th stay here and we will return. A comfortable hotel. Rooms are clean and beds are relaxing. Easy to find and conveniently located with restaurants and shopping nearby. OUR FAVORITE HOTEL.
We were in town for a cheer competition at the Providence Convention Center and it was a perfect and quick location to get to the competition. Easy in and easy out. the kids enjoyed the indoor pool for some relaxation the night before. We did not get to enjoy the free breakfast because we had to leave by 6:15 am, but the staff was very nice about letting us go in to grab muffins, or bagels etc. before they began serving. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are in the area.
Upon arrival we greated by courteous and welcoming front desk agents. They offered information about the area. My daughter was given a bag for ice to nurse a sore ankle. The room was very clean, and very well presented. The location is great! All types of restaurants and stores close by. Nice size pool. The free breakfast and free parking are a great plus. The 12 minute drive from the convention center is convenient also.
Had a very memorable stay at the Best Western hotel in Seekonk recently. I especially loved the breakfast. We were visiting some folks in East Providence and found this hotel to be close by and economical.
This hotel never disappoints! Staff friendly helpful. make you feel as though your visiting with family. Clean an comfortable, Location was great. the lobby was very comfortable I would stay here again.
A group of us were going to a wedding that started at 3pm in Rehoboth. The bride blocked some rooms at the Best Western for us which was a 20 minute ride from the event site. The hotels normal check-in time is 3pm. We called a few days ahead and explained the situation and asked if we could have an early check-in. They graciously allowed us to get into our rooms at 1pm. The room phone had a pre-programmed taxi button on it and I reached a local taxi service with no problems. The front desk called when they arrived and we got to our destination without a hitch. The beds were extremely comfortable and the entire place was really clean. A full breakfast was included and served until 9:30am. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a place in the area. There are all sorts of restaurants within walking distance as well.
The hotel was clean and the room was spacious. The breakfast in the morning was ok. I don't eat much so it was good for me. Waffles would be great but the dining area was very clean and I suspect waffles would cause a mess. The staff was super friendly and helpful. If we are here again we'll stay at this Best Western.
I stayed here with my mother and two daughters who were dancing in a competition at the high school. The room was very clean and had two queen sized beds. The beds were soft and clean with plenty of pillows. The bathroom was clean and well stocked. The shower had great water pressure and a consistent temperature. There was a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. All worked well. The pool was warm and in good condition. The fitness center was small, but had a variety of equipment that looked well maintained. I wish they had a hot tub! The breakfast was included in the room price. There were eggs, bacon, sausage, french toast. hash, cereal, apples and bananas. The food quality was average, but having breakfast before we left was very convenient. Overall, the hotel was very good. We especially appreciated how clean everything was!
Stayed there to visit Brown University. It's an excellent value for the price. A LOT cheaper than trying to stay in downtown Providence. The room decor is a little dated, but the room was VERY clean. The fridge in the room was spotless and handy to have. The bed was a little "saggy" but still comfortable. The bed linens were very clean. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. There's an excellent restaurant (Not Your Average Joe's) across the street. I would definitely be willing to stay here again.
We had a wonderful visit and the hotel was perfect for our location. We will use this location for our next visit with our daughter and remember to bring our swimsuits. Laundry was clean and price was very good.
Hoping to get away for a night, we booked this hotel based on previous good experiences with others within this franchise. We were terribly disappointed with the service. The key card receiver on our door did not work properly so we did not have access to our own room! Hotel staff attempted to fix the issue at first, but complained of being understaffed and quickly gave up and made no attempt to remedy the situation. Hotel staff had to be contacted to let us in to our own room which was an annoyance and made the experience both frustrating and uncomfortable. Will never return to this hotel and would recommend others to avoid.
This hotel was accessible to the highway and shopping centers. The room was in excellent condition and was very clean, including the tile in the bathroom shower, which is always a barometer for us. Breakfast was fine and staff was friendly. Recommend if you can get a deal on price.
Spent 10 nights at the Best Western in Seekonk while visiting family in the local area. The staff was very friendly and accomadating. I was great to have the option to eat breakfast for free between 6:30 and 9:30 am. The Pool looked inviting, but didn't get to use it. Overall the place was friendly, clean, quiet and conveniently located.
Starting with friendly check in personnel, the room was spacious with flat screen TV and dorm size refrigerator and microwave. Room was very clean, bathroom was bigger than many other chains and towels were new and plush. Bedding was very comfortable. During busy season the parking could be an issue, the lot is not huge. Many food establishments within walking distance. I
Staff are friendly and helpful. Room was clean and its in a good location. Close proximity to many colleges. Fitness room is good for a quick cardio workout. Obviously its not a full gym, but for a short stay its nice.
Best hotel breakfast we have ever had. Several hot breakfast options. Comfortable beds. Microwave and fridge in room. Indoor pool. All in all, I recommend this hotel. Definitely our go to hotel when visiting relatives in the area.
Nicer fitness center than most basic hotels with a universal machine. No benches though. Rooms were clean although one did smell heavily of cleaners, which were masking a musty odor. All rooms we got had a fridge and I think a microwave too. Several good dining options in the area and the liquor/beer/wine store down the road, Chris Gaspbarro's, is one of the best I've seen. Would return.
This Best Western is a really convenient location. Right across the street from excellent dining. Down the street from a variety of different stores and eateries. Indoor pool was definetly a plus. Rooms were clean and spacious. Would highly recommend and stay again in the future.
I was looking for a place to stay that was close and not to close to Foxboro, MA. This hotel was clean and the breakfast was a surprise. The food was good in comparison to other frightening offerings in other hotels. This was definitely worth the price and I highly recommend it if you want a good place to stay.
better service than airport inn which we were denied upon arriaval at airport inn my legally bliind husband and 2 kids!! so this was a better selection even though we took 2 cabs expensive to find other late at night and used our traveling money!
The hotel is a good value if you're visiting Providence. It's maybe ten minutes by car from the downtown area, not far at all from I-195. The hotel is about what you'd expect. It's clean, the lobby is basically modern, and the rooms are acceptable. Staff was very nice. I didn't use the pool, but it seemed more than adequate. The fitness room was pretty bad, but I wasn't expecting much. (One old treadmill that will give you a static shock if you touch anything while running, one exercise bike, and a couple weight machines.) It was December, so the place was far from full, and it was very quiet as a result. There are a bunch of restaurants nearby, including a Not Your Average Joe's that was very good.
this is a standard motel. it is clean. it has large rooms. the breakfast is ok . there is a pool. comfortable bed.it is quiet. i really don't have much else to say. i would stay here again when in the area.
I booked this hotel to set up camp while we visited Providence and Plymouth, not realizing that the hotel wasn't in Rhode Island. I-195 is easily available and there are plenty of stores and restaurants nearby. The rooms were nice and comfortable and the staff was accommodating at breakfast when the dining room got too full by opening up the next door conference room.
Have stayed at this Best Western before and have never been dissatisfied. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the hotel staff are all friendly and helpful. Will stay here again when the need arises.
Our vehicle in in the shop for a few days so here we are! We always like Best Western's. Staff super friendly at desk. Check in like a breeze end tho we are with Corporate Lodging and have our little service animal with us! She recommended a Resturant across the street within walking distance. But watch out for the cars!!! Lol washing machine one dollar and one of each. Nice. Still doing some remodeling but very nice hotel. Room clean shower great. Beds comfy. Looking forward to sleeping in and having breakfast here at the hotel.
We chose this hotel as part of a Southwest Airlines vacation deal. We found it was located centrally enough for our visits to MA, CT and RI as it's just a few miles ( 6-10) from TF Green Airport. Front desk personnel were great, especially the gentleman who checked us in. The hotel was very quiet during our stay. We asked for a third floor room away from the hotel parking lot. It was quiet but the window overlooked a car repair shop with lots of cars that looked as though they'd been in collisions. In the distance you could view trees with colorful foliage and that was good if you didn't look down. The beds were comfortable and there was a choice of pillows. The softest and flattest could have been more so. Room needed updating, especially the green carpet. A table and two straight chairs were included in the room but no easy chair. Temperature is controlled on window unit, not wall. It wasn't particularly noisy, just a good, white noise. The closet area had no door. Bathroom was fine and spacious. Good hot water pressure. Housekeeping was very good. Breakfast just ok. Avoid the eggs by all means, as others have noted. My unfussy husband took one bite and said they tasted like plastic. Best area restaurant is Not Your Average Joe across the street. Reserve for weekend dinner though. There's also several fast food places near by as well as a Panera Bread and an Applebee's and a Walmart if you forgot something. The hotel needs to fix its sign. It's not well lit at night and difficult to find the parking lot entrance. I've stayed in much better places in various states. But all in all, for the price in New England, when foliage was in peak, we have no real complaints. Photo included is of Brown University Campus in nearby Providence.
The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast buffet was very good with plenty of selections. We really enjoyed the heated indoor pool where there were plenty of towels available. There was also a small fitness center although we did not use it. The hotel was easy to get to while visiting in Providence and the best bargain for accomodations and free parking.
When we are in the Boston area we always stay at BW Seekonk. The people there are great from the time we check in with Donna to check out with Bob its always a great stay, The rooms are nice the breakfast are great too. The food looks and tastes great. the hot foods are always hot and full. The muffins, bagels and breads are fresh. Keep up the great work we will be back
The hotel is clean and cozy. The stuff is really helpful. But the WiFi didn't work!!! This was the only minus I can say. May be it was not working properly only those days I was in. I would recommend this hotel. Breakfast was great. Rooms are clean. Towels are soft.
After being on the road for two weeks, we spent our last night in Seekonk at the Travel Lodge. We did not have reservations but that was not a problem when I asked for availability. The Manager, Bob, checked us in and gave us a lovely room. It was comfy and cozy after being our in the cold all day. We appreciated the wonderful breakfast on our last day before our flight. We enjoyed our stay and felt very welcome.
The price of this hotel was good. The indoor pool was the main reason we chose this hotel in October! The beds and pillows were very fluffy and comfortable. Breakfast was better than most, but some of the hot items were cold by 9am when we had breakfast. Would have liked to be able to make waffles.
Pros - near highway, and close to Providence for Brown University events, free breakfast and indoor pool. Cons - lack of professionalism of hotel staff, cleanliness of room. Price is also better than the Hampton Inn down the street, which always seems to fill up fast.
Traveled to Providence to see our senior in College. Finally found a great value in the area after three years of visits! Almost half the price of Providence hotels and only 10 mins away. Clean, comfortable bed and friendly staff.
I love this hotel. Immaculate, comfortable-amazing beds with cozy down comforters, refrigerator, microwave, breakfast, work out room, pool. Very close to Roger Williams University in Bristol, RI where we visit our grand-daughter and also close to Providence Mall for some fun shopping. I LOVE THIS HOTEL!!!!!!
Overall good hotel, location is 10 mins to Providence. Rooms were large, carpeting was worn/dirty, beds were a bit too soft for my liking. The room has all the amenities required. Breakfast buffet was ok, scrambled eggs overcooked, but all other items were good. Would stay again. Small indoor pool is nice if you have kids.
The Best Western was clean, easy to get to and had a lovely breakfast in the morning. There were options of eggs, toast, english muffins, bacon, hard cooked eggs and more! The front desk staff was knowledgeable and very helpful. I would definitely stay again!
When we entered our room there was a slight mildew smell. One member of our party has allergies and asthma so we asked for another room. We were immediately shown another room (which was fine) and were given the keys and moved to it. The manager and front desk clerk were very friendly and accommodating and were happy to make things right. The hotel is tastefully decorated and very clean. The pool area and the pool were clean, as well.
Went to Providence WaterFire and although our original intent was to stay in the city, we found everything booked up for parents weekend at a few of the colleges. This was a great location just outside the city and would be perfect for someone staying in the area since there are many stores and restaurants in the area.
The room was large and spacious with two large beds. The mattresses were very comfortable with soft sheets. There was a frig; microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, a large tv and wi fi. We were very comfortable!
For our base in New England we chose this hotel for location, price and amenities. Was very happy with the Staff and room, and had no issues during our stay. Rooms were confortable and the breakfast in the morning had good choices.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel lobby, room and breakfast area were very clean. Served a good breakfast - more than the standard continental breakfast. Breakfast service staff was quick to keep items replenished & clean. Overall - a very good value
Well located for Providence, New Bedford and even back to Boston. Ask staff for restaurant recommendations. Very comfortable, quiet rooms and a good breakfast to start the day. Have stayed here a couple of times and will be back.
The rooms were clean and up-dated. Location is off the main road but near lots of restaurants and shopping. The exterior is average. The lobby is nice lobby and the staff was pleasant. The free breakfast was served from 6:30 to 9:30. The free breakfast was OK, decent assortment but scrambled eggs were tasteless. Overall a fair value for the price.
