Best Western Plus Arroyo Roble Hotel & Creekside Villas

We stayed one night on New Year's Eve. Despite getting a very good discount through Agoda, the night still cost about $350, including parking, which we felt was very expensive considering the hotel's standard. However, the hotel has an amazing location right in the center of Sedona, and our room had a breathtaking view. The staff was absolutely fantastic, especially as they helped us contact the car rental company after we got a flat tire, even after we had checked out. The breakfast was absolutely amazing.

Walkable to shops, food, art galleries, jeep tours. Hotel is old n tired needs paint n updating. Overall, was a good stay. Staff is 5 stars! Breakfast great! Coffee machine in lobby a plus. Balcony and views of red rocks were amazing. Comfy beds. Good water pressure and large TV. 506 room was large with a couch. Only drawback was the Jacuzzi was a long walk below to the other resort.

The nicest BestWestern we've ever stayed at. Balcony with Mountain View and a short walk down to the creek. Hotel adjoins the Resort so BW guests are privy to all the Clubhouse amenities. Easy walking to downtown stores and restaurants. Excellent customer service- Brittany couldn't do enough for us . Kudos to management for having such a great employee!

The only good thing was the view. The front desk was staffed by rude people who didn't know anything. Dollar store towels. Had to convince staff that we were supposed to get free water bottles with our “elite” status. Took them 10 minutes to decide to give it to us even though the letter we got at checkin said we would GET FREE WATER! Our key stopped working on 3 consecutive days. Shivering in the cold sitting outside the room waiting for 3 different people to try to let us in. Carpets filthy. Fitness center had decades old furniture stacked in piles. Just gross. At $400/night I expected something decent. Oh well.

This hotel is in a great location in Sedona. There are restaurants and shops within walking distance. The view from the room facing the Red Rocks is awesome! It was nice to have a balcony to enjoy the view. The prices are high but the views are great! The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was good. There were hot and cold choices. The breakfast attendant was very attentive.

The hotel is in an ideal location with excellent views of the Red Rocks. My wife and I stayed in a North Signature Room ( which is worth paying the extra for) for 5 nights in September . The room was nicely furnished with a comfortable King size bed, sofa, fireplace and a good bathroom and a balcony with excellent views. There is ample car parking and the hotel is within a very short walking distance of a number of good restaurants and shops. The Chamber of Commerce Information centre is also close by which is staffed by locals where you can get excellent information on all the best hiking trails etc. All staff ( front desk, cleaning , breakfast room etc ) at this hotel are all extremely helpful . We were particularly impressed with Damon ( Operations Manager) and Brittany on the front Desk who quickly sorted out a couple of issues for us. My wife and I loved our stay here and hope to come back to Sedona. We will definitely want to stay at this hotel. If you do stay here ask for a room with a view facing the Red rocks and a Signature Room.

Rooms are dated with stained carpets and tight bathroom. Location is perfect for in town dining, excursions, and shopping Staff is friendly and courteous For a tourist area, stores have short hours Beautiful red rocks views On site included breakfast Would stay there again!!

The night supervisor Brittany was very helpful and had very good customer service and reported the mentioned issues immediately and tried to make things right. Horrible experience at the hotel room 201, - old pillows with no foam, old mattresses, poor lighting in the room, no safe in the room, the bathroom was old with cracks along the walls and caulking. My friend was bit by a bug on her left foot when putting her food under the bed covers. There were three bites noted with swelling and redness. The carpet was old and the air conditioner kept me up all night with a horrible noise. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE MONEY, Very over priced for an old and not updated hotel. NEVER AGAIN.

The view from the hotel balcony was excellent with the red rocks. The pool was on the small side but OK if not too many people around. It is well located in uptown Sedona with walking to restaurants/shops. Staff were efficient and friendly. The real downside was the poor environment for breakfast, canteen style with unpleasant outside seating. The cooked breakfast was inedible, although the fruit/yoghurt, coffee was fine. Pity breakfast was such a let down as this hotel was otherwise OK.

We booked our room in May of 2021. Pictures speak a 1000 words. We could not sleep in this hotel room. It was disgusting and the smell of cleaning supplies made us ill. It was the worst hotel I have ever booked (and we travel a lot). Best Western was always our go-to. We were very disappointed. The only plus is that the hotel returned our payment and we stayed elsewhere.

Overall, we had a fantastic experience at the Best Western Plus Arroyo Roble Hotel & Creekside Villas and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sedona. Its convenient location, comfortable accommodations, and friendly service make it an ideal choice for your stay.

We had a room with a view which was really nice. Great location and a nicely appointed hotel. Use of the pool in the nearby club is a good asset. Staff friendly room clean and tidy with a comfy bed. Watch out for self locking balcony door which we managed to lock ourselves out of our room on the balcony. However once we had attracted the attention of a fellow guest who reported our predicament to the staff they arrived promptly and freed us.

Great location. Great amenities. Yes, it's a bit dated but it was clean, quiet and had everything we needed. Walkable to all of the shops/eateries in downtown Sedona. The staff is helpful and very friendly. We had an amazing view and there is a nice walk down to view Oak Creek.

I was like "They don't need another great review" when I saw the overall rating. Fantastic hotel, staff and stay! We've experienced Best Western's improvements over the years and they've really upped their brand. I'd actually contacted their CEO years ago concerning a great experience in one of their older, franchise properties in Yamassee SC and he got back with me pretty quick. The staff were super and though names escape me in these times of senior moments, Sam the overnight auditor is but one standout as she was at every turn straightening, tidying and always making sure that the elaborate coffee set-up in the lobby was clean and orderly. I spoke with the GM Nicholas and found him to be such a solidly dedicated team member and holding a very sincere pride in working with BW+ and the amazing staff at the Sedona site. We visited the Canyon but I'm in agreement with so many that Sedona is a more intimate experience and you feel cradled by of the incredible countrysides nearby and from our room's balcony. Don't get me wrong, the Grand Canyon is sooo humbling per it's sheer immensity, it is so truly grand but we truly became an aspect of the red rock region during our stay there. The strip of which the hotel is part was fabulous for the shopping, dining end of things, we left with entirely too much turquoise and souvenirs but... Had to carry some memories beyond the pics back home to Richmond Virginia! Scott - Bon Air, Virginia

Dirty old carpet, smells in the room, dust on the walls. Old place no renovation, owners are money hungry, they even charged for parking when parking is free across the street. No bacon or sausage ( meat selection at breakfast). Lawn was high and outside was not kept up. Pool Had a film on it, We found this hotel so disgusting that we did not use the pool or we did not take showers that morning. Yuk yuk yuk. When we checked in at another hotel at 4pm that's when we took our showers. Please renovate. This hotel Reminds me of a scary movie

The location and views are perfect. The facilities are also great, with the use of the facilities at Arroyo Roble timeshare resort included. The best western poo properl is scenic and relaxing. The room was clean, comfortable and had spectacular views. We walked down the hill to use the facilities of the Aroyo Roble timeshare resort which were outlined to us at check in. These are great and include an indoor-outdoor pool, an indoor and outdoor hot tub, sauna, steam room, creek access, ping pong, billiards, squash, and foozball. The problem was that the person with whom you check in there for the clubhouse makes you feel like an interloper, explaining that this is private property that is not part of best western multipe times and that best western doesn't know their policies. For example, she said several times (repeating after we agreed the first time) that we needed to go back and get towels from our room because the towels there were not for best western. It is unpleasant to be made to feel unwelcome and like you are doing something wrong by just being there, after having been told you are welcome at check in. Once past all that, it was quiet, relaxing and fun. We walked to where we wanted to go in town and had a great dinner at Elote. It was a short drive to the trails. Sedona is profoundly peaceful and beautiful. I would return to this best western.

BEAUTIFUL views! Very close to dining and shopping. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good. Staff was courteous and helpful. Only complaint would be the traffic at the only elevator in the morning - we had to wait for 3 groups (including housekeeping) before we could go down to check out. That was a bit frustrating. But overall, would recommend.

This was our second time in Sedona and our second time staying at the hotel. The first time we had our daughter with us and we stayed in a villa. The villa was spacious and great for a larger group. This time it was just the two of us and we stayed in a red rock view room with the balcony. It was perfect. We love that the hotel is in Uptown and we can stroll to the shops and restaurants. the breakfast buffet has a great selection. Appreciated that coffee, tea and water are available all day in the lobby. We were close to all of the things we wanted to do and had a great time out on the trails! We're already thinking about the next trip.

First visit to Sedona and we wanted to stay somewhere with a great view and a pool (it was early August). This hotel had both. We paid for a King bed Red Rock view and were not disappointed! The room had both updated and older features but overall it was very nice and we had plenty of space. The staff was very friendly and would stay here again. Easy walk to many restaurants and shopping.

We stayed one night on a trip through Arizona. This hotel had beautiful views, on site parking (very important!) and such a convenient location. On top of all that the room was perfect and the staff very helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay again!

BW rewards member. Aging hotel with saggy beds, dark gloomy room. In disrepair for sure. View was amazing. Almost cancelled my next BW in Springdale (which was amazing due to this hotel. Glad we did not.

My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and this was our first time in Sedona, Arizona. After lots of "research" and looking through all the hotel options in the area, we decided on Best Western Plus. And boy, we were happy we did! Location, Location - it's prime location in Uptown Sedona was excellent - walking distance to all the dining & shops. The hotel staff were all very friendly, our room was clean, bed was comfy, the provided toiletries were nice, but it all came down to the balcony view! What a sight! The lobby had a Nescafe coffee machine - which we enjoyed latte's every morning and afternoon, they also had a water machine that we used to fill our water bottles several times a day. The daily breakfast was really good! We especially enjoyed the frittatas. We walked down to Oak Creek and also enjoyed time sitting back in the Adirondack chairs listening to the creek. After a long hike, we walked to their clubhouse and relaxed in the hot tub. We made sure we ventured through all the grounds & amenities this hotel had to offer. Price point was comparable to the other hotels on the strip but the fact it included breakfast was the winning decision for us. We probably saved $50/day just by having breakfast at our hotel because everything in town was expensive.. average $20-$30/person/meal. We wanted a place that was in a convenient location (we did not rent a car), had a great view of the red rocks, good breakfast, and a comfortable bed to rest. We knew we weren't going to be in our room as we were hiking & exploring every day. So if this sounds like you, then book this hotel. If you're looking for a lavish resort with spa, a restaurant that you have to buy coffee & breakfast every day, and never leaving your room - then this is not for you.

Close to shopping, restaurants and tons of hiking trails. The grounds are beautiful, the staff was very friendly and helpful! Nice amenities, and the complimentary breakfast had lots of options and was yummy.

We booked a last minute trip to Sedona. The BW had great reviews and we were happy we stayed here. Our king room with sofa was large and the view from our balcony was amazing! The room also had a refridgerator, microwave, keurig and extra sink. The hotel had a lovely pool and though we didn't use the amenities at the Creekside Villas this time, we hope to on our next visit. The staff was super friendly. The included breakfast was a bonus. The dining area was clean and the food was well stocked and good. The room did have a slight musty smell, but disappeared after we hade the balcony doors opened. It wasn't an issue for us. I defintely recommend this hotel and a room with a view.

This is a very dated hotel. The location was good but… The elevator was broken and we were on the fourth floor. The bathroom was tiny. The breakfast provided was not good. I would definitely not stay here again. It was not inexpensive and we certainly expected more for what we paid.

The rooms in the BW are comfortable. Pillows were horrible. All super soft and foldable. Every one in the room. The lobby is super small and crowded. Unfortunately the little couch in the lobby is the only gathering area. There is no area for talking or playing cards, mingling. The breakfast area is in another building, therefore, getting dressed is a must for breakfast. The hotel is on a hill. Therefore, you will forever be walking up or down a hill. To the pool is 30 steps. To the bottom parking lot to the game room is 50 steps and then more downhill. Due to the trees the pool by the game room was unusable. The entire outside are was not cleaned. The trees were shedding and it wasn't being cleaned up. Breakfast was good. Staff friendly. It was very nice to stay uptown and be able to walk to dinner.

I stayed at this hotel based on the reviews from trip advisor. Those reviews were positive and this hotel is far from being anything like that. The only part of the hotel that I can rate with a 10 is the breakfast and the breakfast staff. They did a great job and prepared a wonderful breakfast. I do not recommend staying here. A bit overpriced for the condition of the hotel.

The room rate reflects the location of the hotel, a nice view of the red rocks, & probably the resort options. The Club house has pool and heated hot tubs, indoor and out in another building down a hill which made it challenging & did not use. We were within a 5-minute walk to good restaurants and window shopping. They raised parking to $15 per day before we arrived Comfy bed w lots of pillows & very clean It was a little dark in the room even with all the lights on. On my last day the fireplace would not light. My complaints with the room are that they have one of the smoke alarms that has a strobe light directly over the bed area. Also the thermostat was shot and needed to be replaced! Hotel let us park/check-in early, so we could easily leave our car and walk to our afternoon Pink Jeep tour (very close). We also enjoyed walking around town and shopping without moving the car. There is a breakfast room (included with the room rate), and I would say it's decent, although convenient--except it starts at 7am. Many hiking and side trips start early. I want to enjoy my room. I have to say that also, the one thing that this hotel keeps mentioning is the view and yes, you can sit outside of your room and chairs with old cushions and drink your coffee in the morning and look at a mountains. Overall, I would say extremely pricy for the amenities and service provided.

While the location is good, the rooms are outdated. Especially for the price point of this hotel. The pool was dirty and unswimable. It would have been fine overall if it hadn't been so expensive.

A hidden gem among areas hotels unique majestic and full of views in the center of uptown Sedona. All amenities within walking distance you never have to wonder.

The villas are located on a beautiful property down by the creek and yet close to amenities. The buildings are a bit tired and could do with some updating particularly given the rates charged. Linens could be upgraded. Staff super friendly and helpful. Great to have breakfast included.

Location! Right on “uptown strip” of shops /restaurants- walking distance. Get the balcony w a view- faces east to view mountains including snoopy, the elephant, cathedral rock. The mountains change colors in the evening as the sun sets. Stayed in a king. Room was fine. Comfy bed w lots of pillows. Very clean. Bathroom is small , but no big deal. Towels/ bedding in good shape. The BEST thing was the Nescafé machine in lobby available 24 hrs. Free breakfast a bonus because average costs eating out $50- 100 for 2. Keurig , microwave and fridge in room. Other amenities are use of spa/ indoor pool at the villas just below hotel. Was told There is a path to Oak creek w Adirondack chairs but did not go there.

The good... friendly staff. The bad... unreliable service. Two days in a row I asked for the trash to be emptied. The first time by phone... before 10 AM and the second in person at reception. Never happened. On my last day the fireplace would not light. Maintenance came very quickly, replaced a battery, and it would like. Unfortunately, the igniter then ran continuously. Maintenance came again... promptly... went off with the words... "need to look at some manuals"... and never heard or saw them again. Breakfast is a bit above average for this type of property but the breakfast area is small for the size of the hotel. Rooms are a bit dated. At over $450 per night... even in Sedona... could be better.

The room rate reflects the location of the hotel, a nice view of the red rocks, & probably the resort options (clubhouse access with pools, sauna, etc.) which we did not use. We were within a 5-minute walk to good restaurants and window shopping. The room itself, other than the red rock view from the patio, was a basic hotel room and could use an update, esp. the shower-tub combination and dark furniture. Complimentary breakfast selection was standard. Check-in and area for unloading suitcases was user-friendly.

We stayed 3 night. Pros: location! If you want to be in heart of Uptown Sedona this is great. Very walkable to shops and restaurants. We had balcony with really nice view. It was quiet and clean. Breakfast was standard hotel fare but good. Cons: room is tired and bathroom small. They raised parking to $15 per day right before we arrived . The staff was helpful. I had problem with booking which night auditor fixed. We had problem with TV which engineer fixed. Both were great.

The staff was AMAZING from check in to check out- WOW! Very nice view of the red rocks from balcony. Beautiful lobby with a rock fireplace which is stunning. The actual room could use modern updates. It was a little dark in the room even with all the lights on. The clubhouse with the hot tub is in another building down a hill which made it challenging to bring a wheelchair too.

Stayed in January. Beautiful view off the balcony of the red rocks. The location is perfect for walking around Sedona - close to shops and restaurants. Helpful staff. Room was nice, but the balcony was superb.

Very happy with our stay. We had a 5th floor room with a balcony and that really made it feel special. I think this was a small upgrade and definitely worth doing. Phenomenal view; great to sit out there and have local beers (bought in hotel lobby) before dinner. Location was fantastic. Hotel let us park/check-in early, so we could easily leave our car and walk to our afternoon Pink Jeep tour (very close). We also enjoyed walking around town and shopping without moving the car. The breakfast exceeded expectations. The hot Southwestern frittata was delicious, they had a waffle maker, and we enjoyed the churros. The only thing we didn't love was that we would have had to walk a short ways in the dark (5 min?) to use the hot tub or pool; not a huge deal at all, but we were tired after a big dinner and drinks and it was dark so it seemed like a lot of effort, whereas if it had been right there we would have gone in. There is a beautiful outdoor pool with great cliff views right below the hotel that my kids would have loved if they were with us/in warmer weather. Room itself is rather basic, but clean, comfy beds; it's the location, breakfast, and balcony/view that are the standout features.

This location is prime. Walking distance to everything in town and million dollar views to top it off! Breakfast was included with our stay and it was great! Many options to choose from. This is my top choice for an affordable stay in Sedona!

Amazing place to stay - This Best Western had a clean room, great view, from balcony, huge spread of nice items for breakfast. Club house had pool and heated hot tubs, indoor and out. Also had steam room sauna gym etc. All amazing.

This is a great hotel! It has nice views and a great staff. We would stay there again! It is very close to hiking trails too. The room was clean and the hotel was quiet!!! We enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

red rock view from private balcony was nice. also guest could use sauna and pool facility nearby. early breakfast is really helpful to get start the morning activity like trail and rock climb. 5 min walk to center of uptown.

This was a really superb stay in Sedona. We enjoyed a good sized room that had a nice little balcony with great views and powerful air-conditioning. There's a good gym in the clubhouse, a really great breakfast selection and an absolutely brilliant pool. The sleep quality was amazing as it was so quiet. Good laundry and lovely lawn area. Plenty of parking and really solid uptown location. A solid in Sedona: would certainly consider staying here again!

We booked this hotel because of the photos here and the location. Breakfast sounded good -and was included which was a perk. We reserved it for four nights and got in late and the minute I opened the door to our room and walked in I knew we would be leaving in the morning. Not only was the room outdated (old) with marks on the walls, but it was musky smelling. The first clue that it wouldn't be a good stay was when the front desk clerk told us that they do not clean the rooms on a daily basis. (her reasoning was that ever since Covid they do not like to go in peoples rooms that gave me the icky feeling and had me wondering if the rooms were clean at all. Keep in mind that this hotel, although it is not rated as a five star hotel comes with a five star price She also said that If we wanted fresh towels we had to come to the front desk and get them. I have never stayed in a hotel where they do not clean your room daily or don't make your bed and give you fresh clean towels every day. The smell of the room was musty. I could not even imagine having a shower in the bathroom. There was a fluorescent light around the mirror in the bathroom. The rug felt dirty. The bed and sheets did not smell fresh. The elevator did not work, and the outdated air conditioner in the window kept clunking on and running every 15 minutes throughout the entire night then clunking off -I did not sleep the entire night. The smoke alarm on top of our bed kept blinking on and off all night. Needl to say, we checked out the next day drove 5 minutes down the road and stayed in a much nicer much cleaner hotel for the same price - they had a deal on and it had with way more perks. Location is not everything when you're paying that much for a hotel you have to be happy. You have to be able to sleep and feel comfortable in your clean . The one thing that was good was the breakfast . I mean it wasn't gourmet, but it was edible. If I can see that if you were staying there and have a family to feed, this would help your daily food budget because you get a free breakfast and there was a lot of hot items on the menu, but personally, that is not the most important thing to me I can have a good cup of coffee and find a breakfast sandwich down the road. I want to enjoy my room. I have to say that also, the one thing that this hotel keeps mentioning is the view and yes, you can sit outside of your room and chairs with tattered cushions and drink your coffee in the morning and look at a mountain but to be honest with you there are mountains absolutely everywhere in Sedona so you will be seeing them the entire time that you are there. You can stop with by them take pictures of them you do not need to see a mountain outside of your hotel window.

My first time to Sedona, so I wanted a view of the mountain. Plus, centrally located. This exactly what we got. The staff was wonderful. The issue the elevator was out of order. short issue with hot water. The breakfast was great. Many choices.

Broken elevators, no hot water upon check in, no pool towels in the room. Basic things should not be a problem in a hotel costing this much for a single night. The hotel location was great, the staff friendly, breakfast pretty normal for anything free included at a hotel. The broken elevator and hot water issue are inexcusable. Were not offered anything to compensate for these things. We won't be going back. Plenty of places to stay all around Sedona that have working “amenities” for half the price.

I would think carefully before staying here again. I felt nickeled and dimed staying here, and likely would stick to a local property or a Marriott or Hilton brand for reasons I'll outline below. The cost, even considering the great location, just wasn't worth it. The good - breakfast and maintenance were good. The pool was good. The room was clean. The location was good. The view was good. The not so good. I understood that I had a private balcony/ patio. The room I was given had a shared patio, which was outside the door of the room vs a slider/separate entrance. Misleading at best. The elevator and ice machine were broken. Apparently, a planned maintenance on the elevator that wasn't communicated before we arrived. If we would have had my elderly parents with us…no way we'd have been able to stay comfortably there. There are a lot of steps between parking and the pool or the lobby and rooms. While a really nice maintenance guy was made available to help with bags, we then felt like we had to tip - it was over 100 degrees. I would have stayed elsewhere if I had known the elevator was broken. I outlined that to the person checking in who was completely unbothered that this was a problem for us. I was charged for parking, after parking was complimentary when I booked. It was removed somewhat begrudgingly when I asked. I arrived at 245pm and was charged $25 to check in before 4. It's on their website - fair enough but for comparative purposes, I have arrived at 11am, 2 pm, and 3pm at various Marriotts in other popular cities (same trip) and was able to check in free of charge. I've never been charged anywhere else to check in early. Why? If the room is ready, what's the issue? Sure, we were free to not pay it…but for an hour, after a cross-country flight, we were ready to relax.

There was no elevator and we were on the 4th floor. There was no one to help with the bags. Room was old and dirty. There was no shampoo or body wash in the soap dispensers in the shower. The pool was filthy.

The hotel is nestled in town, but has beautiful views right off our balcony. Loved the way it looked and it was very inviting and cozy. Staff was wonderful and we really loved our stay. A real bonus was the access to Oak Creek. After we enjoyed our mornings in Sedona, Cottonwood and Jerome, we would go to the creek and jump off the rock (almost every day). It was so nice to be in nature to swim. The pool was nice too, but the creek was awesome!

Stay in this BW Plus - for clean, well stocked, spacious rooms. Stay here in a balcony room & enjoy the gorgeous mountains, and clean, warm, pool. Stay here for free parking & walk to everything uptown. Shopping & restaurants just steps away. Stay here to make Best Western reward points - or stay here ON points as we did. Stay here for great staff, like friendly, efficient Brittany who graciously gave us an early check-in. Thank you Brittany. Stay here for the fabulous breakfast. Egg frittata, cheesy hashbrowns, and more. Could the decor use an update? Sure. But we don't visit Sedona (or really anywhere) to stay in the room. The above attributes far outweigh any outdated furniture. Bed / mattress still great, comfy, and we slept well. This was probably our 5th or 6th time staying here, we highly recommend & will return.

This BW Plus is in need of an upgrade. The elevator was not working, the ice machine was not working, the lighting in the bathroom is dim, furniture worn out, full breakfast was mediocre. The website did not accurately depict the hotel's surroundings and the 'dark sky' was ruined with all the lighting on the hotel grounds.

We stayed at the Oak Creek Villa in Sedona and we checked out on July 12th. We had a wonderful time and the place was just superb. On the morning of the 12th we spend time at the Club House, the lady at the front desk was very nice and she mentioned that we could stay until after check-out time. We were excited. A couple of hours later there was a shift change and another lady was sitting at the front desk, and she looked at me with unfriendly eyes. I approached the desk and told her that we were told we could stay after checkout time. She told me that we must leave immediately and we were not allowed to be there. I was speechless. There was another guest checking in and she just kicked us out in front of this guest. I have never been more embarrassed, I have never been treated that way. I explained that the lady that worked the morning shift had told us that we could stay. Her response was: She doesn't know the rules and you must leave immediately because you are not allowed here. Apparently, this lady took the time to learn the rules but didn't read about good customer service. We did nothing wrong and yet we were treated like third-class citizens. Somebody needs to talk to her so she understands how she made us feel. I have never been more humiliated. I think I still have a headache for the way she made me feel.

The BW is located uptown and perfect walking distance to restaurant and shops. Parking was easy. The rooms with the Red Rock view were spacious and had a nice balcony to relax. They had a good hot and cold breakfast options. We'll be back.

This hotel was amazing. The staff was courteous and friendly. I was not happy with the bathroom in my room because I'm handicapped, and the toilet was too low. They promptly switched me to a handicap room.

When we come to Sedona, AZ this is our "go-to" hotel. Although the prices have seriously gone up since our stay there 2 years ago. The free breakfast is the best. The views from the bottom floor patio room were great.

The location is perfect and the view from our balcony was perfect! BUT, as soon as we left we realized we left our winter dress jackets in the closet in the room. We called and they said they'd look. We didn't hear back so I messaged them. Still didn't have our coats. When I messaged again, they said they called me twice and I didn't answer. Not true. Still didn't have our coats and they kept referring to the coats as “lost” and if they “found”them. They weren't lost. They are in the room closet. So, either they did not clean the room before the next guests and the guests took them or whoever cleaned the room took them. I told them if they weren't in the room they were taken by housekeeping. They said no and thank you and that's it. Greatly disappointed. They were very nice coats we got in Europe. We live in Phoenix and plan to come back often and I won't stay here again. Too many other options.

Hotel is a little older but everything is well kept and clean. Bed was comfortable and I slept very well, room had a private balcony and OMG what a view. Hotel is on the stretch filled with shopping and eating options. Extremely happy to have chose this hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. We had a great view from our room (the picture doesn't due it justice). The breakfast was good snd had many choices. Due to Covid they do not come in and clean the room. However, if you put your garbage or towels outside your door they are gone in an instant. Fresh towels and cups are readily available at the front desk. There is a lovely fireplace in the lobby and a fire pit outside that has a beautiful view. This hotel is easy walking distance to shops and restaurants.

We spent two nights here with our adult children Christmas week. The villas are spacious and clean although dated. We hiked during the day and at night walked to restaurants and shops. Parking is ample. The front office checked on us daily and were very customer oriented. Fresh coffee and hiking information readily available. The breakfasts are a must. The chef is outstanding as is the staff - clean and delicious with a variety of healthy, hearty choices. Great experience.

The villas are nice but quite dated. The view is beautiful. The pool and spa, however, are part of a different establishment so you have to trek over there with a stack of paperwork to be allowed in. That's not a luxury stay. Low quality products such as scratchy truck stop quality toilet paper, flimsy towels, and cheap paper towels don't help. We were really looking forward to this splurge but came away disappointed.

We stayed for 3 days and 3 nights at this hotel. We are from MN and was in town for the first time as a newlywed couple. Thermostat in our room showed 80 degrees ... yet it was so cold in our room. Thought because it was cold outside with freezing weather and dampness ... thought maybe we were getting sick. Stayed in room for more than half our stay as we couldn't seem to warm up. My husband was looking at the alarm clock on the third day where it showed the temp in small digits and it said 16 Celsius ... Which indicated the temp was around 60 degrees. No wonder why we felt so chilled and sick. I went to the front desk and the man came and looked at the heater and said it didn't work. He offered us a different room and we accepted. That too, on the other hand, was so ungodly hot we had to sleep with the window wide open. Would I stay again ??? Definately not! Besides .... we chose this hotel specifically because it had an indoor pool. Well at no place in the advertisement for the hotel did it say you needed to go outside and walk a block to get to the pool and facilities in the freezing cold. I would appreciate someone from management or corporate to call me. 651-343-3202

Ideal place to stay. Beautiful views, centrally located near shops, and restaurants. Everything is within walking distance. Great customer service by the staff, from front desk, housekeeping to the breakfast area staff. It's always a pleasure staying here.

This Best Western Hotel is in the heart of Downtown Sedona. You can walk to almost everything you want to do and n Sedona. The rooms are spacious and always spotless. We had a fireplace in our room as well as a private balcony with a red rock view. We always stay here when we visit Sedona.

Great stay again at this hotel. Location is perfect, our “special” room with view and fireplace was amazing especially the snow on the red rocks. Staff was pleasant and helpful even with “technical” difficulties.

We stayed one night for our anniversary. The room was clean and roomy. The views were fantastic. The breakfast was good for a quick bite before shopping or seeing the sites of Sedona. Good value, friendly staff. Overall, a winner!

Beautiful property you pay for the beautiful red rock view love the snoopy and Lucy rocks right outside my window. All shopping is within walking distance and there is a variety of restaurants and bars to sit and enjoy the view as well.

We found this hotel overpriced as it is badly in need of redecorating. The room was not very clean and it certainly didn't live up to the photos on the website. The beds were comfortable but housekeeping never showed up until the middle of the afternoon when we returned from a hike and needed to rest.

Can't get much better than this location of this hotel. Easy walk to all the shops and restaurants. The views from balcony is amazing. The hotel is older and could use some renovations… especially the bathroom. Room wasn't ready at check-in and Had to wait almost 2 hours before it was ready.

Good location within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and tour concessions. The breakfast is included providing a tasty variety of breakfast food choices. Coffee machine and water fill-up station in the lobby are a plus. The front desk personnel are very friendly (Arielle and Allen) and so helpful with recommendations and directions. The patio outside our room provided a wonderful view for watching the color play at sunset on the backdrop of red rocks.

Well worth the upgrade to get a balcony. We walked out onto the balcony and had a full view of the mountains and the back of the hotel showing the pool and surrounding areas. It was just lovely. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. No complaints at all. This hotel added so much to our trip. It was centrally located and we walked to the shops and restaurants.

We went for most of a week as a couple. It was a great location for walking to shops and restaurants in Uptown Sedona. Room was clean and I had service come once while we were there. Beautiful views on the balcony and patio. I would stay again if I come.

I don't typically pay over $400 a night for a hotel, but I was treating a family member to a special time in Sedona so I decided to go for it. We were expecting a lovely room but were shocked when we opened the door and saw the ugliest, most dated looking unit either of us have ever experienced. I won't go into details but will just say that it took a lot of the wind out of our previously excited sails. We stayed out late that night so we wouldn't have to spend too much time in that depressing room. They seem to have a nice pool area and a good breakfast, however. Unfortunately, it's the ambiance of the rooms that matter most when your staying at a hotel

We stayed here 10 years ago. The front desk was nice and pleasant. The room was clean and the breakfast was good. The pool was a pleasant experience and we loved the view. This time the front desk could care less. There was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. The woman that runs the pool area was rude and treated us like thieves and lectured us about how to behave in the pool area. Myself grown woman with two grown adults. Completely uncalled for. "Its a privilege to use the pool and we can stop the hotel from using this pool if you don't behave." A lecture we had also received from the hotel itself at the front desk.

This hotel is copy / paste the Orchards Inn in many ways. Great location in Uptown Sedona, spacious rooms, nice views, parking, no public rooms bar or restaurant. The only difference is the pool and spa. The pool area is small but very good to relax. Didn't try the spa / fitness area partly because you need 3 pieces of paper/ signed waivers and all sorts of rules and regulations that make you not want to bother. Like a lot of hotels with staff shortages, they're hiding behind “protecting you from COVID” to reduce service, reduce their costs but not of course, reducing prices. Same with servicing the room, on request only. It's OK, but not worth the price ($400 per night). If you really like pools/ spas it might be worth it but otherwise, Orchards Inn (where we also spent 2 nights) is better value.

I've stayed at numerous Best Westerns, but this may be my favorite. The view from our room (with its private balcony) was gorgeous. We were provided with plenty of towels, coffee, and cups. The location was at the end of Uptown and perfect as it was close to stores and restaurants as well as tour pickup locations. Breakfast items included hot (eggs, sausages, waffles, etc) and cold cereals/assorted pastries. The internet worked without any issues. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is outdated but the location is amazing. We chose to stay in the Villa's on the creek which seem a little more updated than the rooms. We enjoyed walking into Oak Creek and listening to the water. We knew we weren't spending much time at the hotel so we were happy with the location. Our kids enjoyed the timeshare Club House (indoor/outdoor pool with swim through access) hot tub, steam room and game room. The timeshare amenities are also older but our kids didn't care and enjoyed the little time we spent at the clubhouse. The Best Western pool has an amazing view. We received great customer service from all the staff! Free standard continental breakfast. If you are looking for location this is it - we walked to dinner, ice cream, shopping and our pink jeep tour easily from here. If you want a 3-4 star hotel then this isn't for you.

The hotel is located right near shops and restaurants within walking distance. The grounds and pool area are beautiful and you can walk down to the creek. We chose a room with a red rock view and it was an amazing view! The daily hot breakfast bar was delicious. Rooms were clean and all the staff was friendly.

We were very pleased with our choice,as the hotel was very close to downtown & restaurants, shopping & gorgeous scenery, vistas of rock monuments rising from the earth, with various hues of colors & vegetation, along with grounds good enough to accompany any celebration. Friendly & excellent staff. Nice amenities, great values. Spacious air conditioned rooms.with balconies. nicely appointed. The creek offered a respite from the hustle n bustle of neighboring town & activities. We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 day/4 nite trip from AZ valley to the higher ground of Sedona,AZ,with a little cooler temps & places to sight see. 7sxcellent staff

The facility is old, old furniture, torn, the carpet smells cleaning chemical. Other guests reviews are right on, unless you sit in the balcony to stare at the mountain all day, the old, smelly room doesn't justified for the price we pay. I'm disappointed that Sedona chamber still let such hotel condition exists?!

The location of this hotel in the city is ideal. To all stores and restaurants, you may walk. The bed's mattress appeared to be old and comfortable. A sauna and an activity area are also available. Similar to the hotel, decent but not outstanding.

The location can't be beat. We loved being able to walk to so many restaurants and shops in Uptown. Spend a little extra to get a balcony room facing the red rocks, you won't regret it. We saw amazing sunsets from our balcony. The pool was refreshing. The breakfast buffet was perfect for us to get on the road quickly every morning as we were there to hike. They also have a clubhouse with another pool, racquetball courts, pool tables, etc. We didn't use that but it's a nice to have! The staff was all super nice, too.

Our room had incredible views of the Red Mountains, a nice Fireplace, large Jetted tub and large walking shower. They had a nice Full Breakfast and all of the staff were very friendly. It was a perfect location for walking the town and shops!

This hotel is in a perfect location in town. You can walk to all shops and restaurants. It is has the most gorgeous views of the red rocks from the front and back of the property. Very clean and comfortable rooms. The staff is very kind, helpful and informative. Free full breakfast everyday with lots of different selections to please everyone.

Lovely views. Rooms are pretty clean. Very close walking distance to Sedona. Breakfast was good and lots of it. Air conditioner was noisy and not very efficient. Bed mattress seemed a bit soft and worn out.

This hotel is begging for a renovation. Still, it is wonderfully located with a nice view to the mountains and access by foot to the town area. The hotel has an outside pool (lightly heated) as pictured on the photos. You also have access to a resort amenities next to the hotel. It includes an oustide pool with hot tub connected to an inside pool and its hot tub. There is also a sauna and activity room. Same as the hotel: nice but not exceptional either. Everything is clean, breakfast is OK, you can enjoy your time here.

Everything is extremely old! There were stains on the bed sheets, phone wasn't working so if we had to contact the front desk we had to walk over every time, the direct internet wasn't working, hot water wasn't working on the first night (front desk people said it was because everyone is using the hot working right now, but it's a hotel that shouldn't be the case...), and toilet is extremely small and low which is not great for elderly parents. For $200 a night there are newer and nicer hotels to stay at in Sedona, Arizona. Do not stay here!

This hotel was a great find. It's located on 89A, close to shops and restaurants within walking distance. The hotel staff was very friendly, and accommodating! Our room had a king size bed, loads of room, and had a beautiful view of the mountains. The bathroom had, a large shower and a jetted tub and a sink. Their was also a sink, beside the water closet. There was a nice size refrigerator, and there was a smaller sink in that area. The room had a beautiful fireplace, which made the room warm and cozy. There are water fountains scattered throughout the property. There are outdoor chairs, and an area for those, who are into sports. A breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, cereal, muffins, coffee, and a variety of juices and milk is included. I would definitely go back.

If it wasn't for Katie I think The rest wouldn't of bother me she gave me the attitude that it didn't matter about the TV Working or not my kids like watching cartoons before they fall asleep so we all ended up in the master bedroom

Traveling solo I don't always get a suite as it just doesn't make sense. However, at this place the King suite has such a phenomenal view of the mountains it was worth the $$$! The suite itself was great (excepting a Spa tub that only slightly worked !

This hotel should be a top choice for anyone visiting Sedona. Its location, views, lovely breakfast, amenities, and phenomenal staff make for a special stay. I will recommend this hotel to my friends and family and will not hesitate to stay here again. Property is very nice for the price especially compared to other properties in the area. The view of the mountains and rock formation is beautiful. Enjoyed the balcony for the view and coffee in morning and beer in evening. Parking lot was nice, safe, and convenient. Manager was very accommodating. Waffle maker for breakfast service was super nice and makes nice waffles.

Perfect location, which is right on the main road in Sedona and walking distance to lots of great shops and restaurants. Staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The breakfast buffet that is INCLUDED was AMAZING!!!

The BW property is adjacent to a time share property and BW guests can use the time share clubhouse facilities. They were great! 2 pools, 2 hot tubs, foos ball, air hockey, billiards, etc. There is another pool on BW property which we also used and it was great, too! We picked blackberries from the bushes by the fountain on the lawn outside the 1st floor rooms. Truly amazing red rock views! Great place to stay! Kinda pricey for a BW, but probably fairly comparable to other properties around.

We were happy that our stay at this hotel in Sedona was every bit as comfortable as our last stay pre-Covid. Although we opted for no room cleaning service, since we only stayed 2 nights, there was an option for that -- which several other hotels we have stayed at did not even offer. And although the hotel interior is a bit dated, and also has many stairs outside (not so easy to maneuver anymore) to the parking lots on the hill, it is still in a terrific location right on the main drag in Sedona backing up to Oak Creek. Lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Katie at the front desk was so friendly and gave us info on the close-by restaurants within walking distance for dinner. The view from our 5th floor balcony facing the Sedona Red Rocks was wonderful. Relaxing there on a rainy afternoon was amazing. Even the exterior, glass elevator was fun. The delicious, hot breakfast was just as remarkable as I remembered, pre-Covid. There was great service and varied hot dishes plus lots of cold items.

Great view of the red rocks and Snoopy Rock. Right on the uptown Sedona shopping strip, so very convenient for shopping and eating . Rooms were super quiet and I never heard another guest in any direction. Breakfast was well stocked everyday and had great selection. While there is a pool on-site, having use of the additional pools at the Arroyo Roble Resort clubhouse next door was nice as well.

When I booked this unit over the phone, I wasn't expecting all the other extras. Checking in was quickly, I stayed with a 7 lb. dog and she was given a treat bag! Never has any other hotel done this. I was impressed. Upon opening the door to the room, the view made me say 'wow' out loud! You'll have to experience the ret by going here.

We ended up here in and it's a clean hotel- just old and outdated- the rooms could use more lighting- very dark. The pool fitness situation w the timeshare is odd and you have to bring a waiver and the whole thing is complicated and dated. The beds/ my daughter thought were comfy- for me they were A tad too soft /saggy. Again the staff were rock stars. The breakfast was pretty good for hotel complimentary breakfast. Lots of options and nice outdoor seating with a view.

The staff was amazing, from the front desk to the breakfast everyone took the time to ask how our stay was going! Perfect location next to many restaurants and attractions within walking distance. Hotel also has beautiful views and several amenities making this a great value!

great hotel absolutely incredible views. The balcony from our room was the perfect mix of sun and shade. breakfast is the best hotel breakfast ever, nice changes each day and super fresh. the town is sleepy and practically closes at 9PM but the area is beautiful

This was a pleasure trip. Having been at a premier Best Western previous to this at the Grand Canyon I expected this hotel to be the same. However it was much smaller lacking many amenities and just as expensive if not more. However our room though small had a magnificent view which was worth everything. Also the location of hotel was great

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights as part of a 10 day Utah/Arizona road trip. We loved having access to the clubhouse to take a break and play air hockey, ping pong, etc and swim in the indoor/outdoor pool- perfect for kids. The busy uptown area might not be for everyone, but we enjoyed being able to walk to different restaurants for dinner, out to ice cream and to our pink jeep tour. Breakfast was standard hotel buffet- we thought the food was good and appreciated the convenience of a quick breakfast before heading out for the hiking trails. The hiking trails we chose were all about 15 minute driving distance. There is a small laundry room, there were only a couple machines but we had no issues. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a little worn and basic but clean and we loved the red rock view from our balcony. I'm rating 4/5 only because I felt the rates were so high the week we were there, relative to the quality of the room.

We stayed at this hotel for six nights. The veiws were amazing and the location is great if you want to be near the shops and restaurants. The private balconies are a plus. The rooms need updating but were clean. The breakfast was poor quality of food, we didnt eat the breakfast after the first morning. The cost per night we felt was high for the quality of hotel.

This property is located in the Uptown section of Sedona - within walking distance to many shops and restaurants, and right off Highway 89. We spent 3 nights here and absolutely loved it. Check in was really easy. There is plenty of parking. The rooms have a coffee maker, fridge, and microwave. We paid a little extra for the red rock view, which I felt was worth it. It is very nice that they give you access to the pool and fitness club for the resort next door. The pool there is excellent - heated outdoor pool and Jacuzzi. It was 72 degrees and the pool was really warm. The break fast opens at 7 AM, and has everything you could ever want. A real plus to this property. The rooms were good. Clean and comfortable. They were large enough for all 4 of us to share a 2 queen bed room. I would highly recommend this property.

The deco is little age but location is very good if you want to strolling the uptown, the room on high floor at main building give you very good view of Cathedral rock and other. Best thick crunch bacon I ever had.

As Sedona is a known hiking destination, and as people like to get to the trailheads early because parking lots fill up, it's ridiculous that we had to wait outside in the cold every single morning at 7 am until staff unlocked the breakfast room and let us in. Breakfast is advertised as beginning at 7 am; however, there was always a line outside the door of impatient people in hiking gear. The door was never opened before 7:05 am. For more than $500 a night, I expect breakfast to be on time.

The Best Western Plus Arroyo Roble Hotel in Uptown Sedona, Arizona was a great experience for our family. The rooms were clean and had a beautiful view of the Sedona Red Rock cliffs. Right below our balcony was the nicely landscaped outdoor pool. The pool saltwater filtration made swimming less irritating than the typical high chlorine pools. This is a heated pool, so it was nice to swim. They also offer guests the use of the private Clubhouse on the property, which has an indoor/outdoor pool and hot tubs. Additionally, the Clubhouse has a game room, ping pong, pool tables, racquetball court, sauna, steam room, workout room, and showers. The kids and adults loved it. One other great thing for families was the fantastic free breakfast available every morning. They had oatmeal with all the fixings, scrambled eggs, quiche, sausage, ham, hashbrowns, waffles, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, pastries, and beverages. We saved a fortune and a lot of time not having to go to a restaurant. The quality and attention to detail were excellent. All of the staff at the Hotel were friendly and helpful. This hotel's central location makes it a great location for exploring the gorgeous Sedona Red Rock area, shopping, and restaurants. We'll be back!

The location for this Best Western Plus is great but the overall hotel is old and needs to be updated. The price for this hotel is far to expensive for the quality. I will admit the view from the room was nice, but wow, the price was crazy expensive for the overall quality and age of the hotel. Will probably not stay here again.

The Creekside Villas are really nice. They are older buildings, but kitchens and bathrooms have been updated and are clean. The Villas have balconies and patios that back up to a beautiful view and a stream. The beds are very comfortable and the property was very quiet. Location is perfect to walk to shops and restaurants in Sedona. Villas include washer/dryer too which was great. Great property!

The hotel is in a prime location with incredible views from the deck but the room (at least the one we stayed in) is dark, dingy and worn. I did not want to walk around with bare feet. It's passed time for an update. Having said that, the front desk staff was friendly, accommodating and very helpful.

We stay at Best Westerns wherever we go, and we strongly recommend AGAINST staying at this hotel. It is horribly overpriced for what you get. Yes, there is a beautiful view, but unless you're planning to sit in your room the entire time, you can find better views in Sedona that are easily accessible. The breakfast was absolutely disgusting--and again, I stay at Best Westerns all the time and the breakfast is usually better. The area around the hotel is horribly congested with drivers and pedestrians during the day and only a handful of restaurants within walking distance are open for dinner. Please, please don't stay here unless they lower their rates significantly (we paid over $500 a night) to reflect the true value. The staff was good, but clearly management or corporate has decided to overprice this hotel and not deliver services consistent with that price. You will be disappointed if you stay here. Instead, suggest finding a place in Cottonwood or some other place nearby.

The location is fantastic for shopping, dining, a day trip to the Grand Canyon. Regarding the hotel itself, the views are great but the hotel is dated. The rooms reminded me of a $90 a night hotel that you would stay at on the side of a highway. I personally could not justify the $500 plus a night for the 4 nights I stayed there. The breakfast left a lot to be desired and to make matters worse nothing opens in Uptown Sedona until 10 or 11 AM and everything closes between 7 and 8:30 PM.

The views and relaxing atmosphere on this property are unparalleled. The room was large and clean and the staff were some of the most genuinely friendly and accommodating staff I have interacted with - especially in such a tourist laden location.

I don't usually stay in a Best Western but am so glad we did. This was our first trip to Sedona. We did not want to stay in a resort but were not sure of the location. It was perfect. We could walk from the hotel to all the restaurants and shops in Uptown and Tlaquepaque but were not in the middle of the traffic. We stayed in a King with a Red Rock view on the 4th floor. It had a balcony with a table and two chairs overlooking the red rocks. The room was clean and big. Nothing fancy but we did not spend the day in the room. There was a sofa and chair and a small bar area with a sink, microwave and minifridge. The bed was comfortable. I do not know how full the hotel was but did not hear much noise. The hotel grounds were very nice with outdoor seating around the pool. There is plenty of free parking. The folks at the front desk were very polite and welcoming. Someone called everyday to make sure we had everything we needed. They have housekeeping on request but we did not use it. When I made the reservations I requested extra pillows and this was the first hotel in a long time that mentioned my request when I checked in and had it in the room. If we come back to Sedona we will stay here.

This BW is in the heart of UpTown Sedona and has an outstanding location to a variety of restaurants, Jeep tours and shops. The view out the back of the rooms/balconies is just incredible. Breakfast…outstanding. My wife and I travel extensively and ALWAYS stay in BW. Best value for the money, always in a good location and a good breakfast to start each day. I also use TripAdvisor to plan all our trips…..thus I always make an effort to comment where ever I go. This was a fantastic trip to Sedona and everyday started and ended in this great location.

I like that I could walk to everything. Beautiful view of the red rocks from my room. Hotel is outdated but most of hotels in the rest in the area are as well. Room was very clean. Staff was extremely nice and helpful

It could have been nice if things worked, but the jacuzzi didn't work, the fireplace worked sometimes. This property ruined our 20th anniversary. We love up town Sedona, but will probably not ever stay at this property again.

Amazing views from our red rock views room, north building. Rooms clean and comfortable. Hotel staff were helpful and very pleasant. Surrounded by shops and restaurants. Little pricey but we felt it was worth it!

Stayed here last Friday and was underwhelmed. Decent location and views (if you book 'Red Rock View) but hotel needs updating. Breakfast was okay, the indoor pool and game facilities are shared with timeshare down the hill. For $450+ a night I would consider the value to be needing improvement.

This hotel's location was great and the front desk people were very helpful. the rooms were spotless - we would go back again. One simple suggestion is that the thermostats would work more easily - I had to touch it 20-30 times in order for it to "wake" so I could cool the room.

With check in the girl on staff was the greatest. From the start where to Park. What would be fun places to visit. Recommend best places we might enjoy eating at. The places is very beautiful, the hallways are protected, but have great Brez way that keep the place cool when it gets hot. Views were totally awesome in every direction, watching both the sunset and sunrise, the greatest. Then there's the breakfast great presentation, and one of best food served for breakfasts at any Best Western,only one that even comes close is Fort Morgan Co. and I stay about 60 hotels a year for work. Great amenity from pools to down below where clubhouse is. I definitely will be back.

Stayed in a villa that faces the creek. Villas are great size to go with a group or with family. They have the best views of the creek. Hotel & villas are in need of an update especially the furniture.

This is an average hotel in a great location. Top notch views of red rock. Right next to the small town if that's your thing. Downside is the parking. You have to unload at the main entrance by the rooms, after that park down a steep hill and walk back up. If you want to use the pool, steam room, hot tub, that's in a separate building at the bottom of the parking hill, about a 3-5 minute walk. In the winter months, after your done it feels like your walking in the arctic back to the hotel. That building is not Best Western and run by a different company. They do have their own outdoor pool closer to the hotel. The breakfast is mediocre. That's in a separate building directly to the left, the one with the arches. Coffee was old, sausages were slimey, eggs meh. It is free though.

I picked this hotel because of its location, where I knew we could walk to shops and restaurants in Sedona without having to worry about parking. It had gorgeous views and the beds were extremely comfy.

If you want a beautiful view that's way too expensive and decor from the 80"s, this place is for you. Because the decor was old and had a strong odor,, it felt dirty.. However the breakfast was very good. Nice selection.

Great views, beautiful and clean grounds, pet friendly with large pet area, clean rooms, great décor, plenty of parking, close to restaurants and shops. There are stairs to the exterior patios; however, they are in increments so easy to manage. Friendly, knowledgeable and professional staff.

Was a disappointment to us for several reasons. The room was small and dark. The bathroom was so tiny that the door almost hits the toilet. The sink is located outside the bathroom as you walk in the front door. The hotel itself is on a steep hillside that is difficult for anyone with disabilities. Parking down below means lugging suitcases up hill. The breakfast buffet is in another building. Felt like we were walking up and down way too much. On the other hand, the staff were very friendly. The view of the red rocks was lovely. And if you want to be in a location convenient to store and restaurants, this hotel may work for you.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. The king suite provided all the amenities we needed. The fireplace was really enjoyed, and the view from our room was beautiful. Also, the uptown location was so convenient. We could walk to many shops and restaurants. Have already suggested this hotel to friends.

This hotel was perfect. It was located right in town close to all the shops. The views are Spectacular. I would highly recommend it. Our family spent one night over Christmas break. The staff was very friendly.

LOVED being able to use the amenities of the complex behind us, pool tables, shuffleboard, foosball and ping pong, plus pool, hot tub and saunas.

An amazing stay at the Best Western villas location (down from the main property)! The fireplace in the bedroom added warmth and romance for the colder December monrings. The living area was spacious enough to host our entire group of 6. The kitchen was well stocked. Breakfast (included) every morning was fabulous! Lots of choices, quality food. The recreation center was perfect. We took advantage of the pool and outside hot tub, as well as the exercise room that overlooks raquetball courts. All were exceptionally clean. Front desk staff extremely helpful. I highly recommend staying in the villa if you have a group!

We have stayed here several times and always was an awesome experience. The employees treat everyone very well. Their breakfast is probably one of the best for any type of hotel. The beds are very comfortable. So, you are well rested before going out hiking.

Hotel front staff was wonderful, from help with booking to finding 2 glass glasses to drink our wine on our balcony overlooking the fabulous view of Snoopy Rock and " ". The location in town was great--we just strolled down the 5 or 6 blocks along all the restaurants and stores. Weekends were busy, but not so much on weekdays. Local hiking was unbelieveable. Each time we hiked we thought it was the most beautiful. THen next day would be different and often better. We stayed in area for 2 weeks and hiked each day. WE hiked about 10% of the available hikes noted on a take-away from the Visitor Center. Very helpful showing each hike, altitide, length of hike, loop or not, grading of easy, moderate or difficult. Sedona is wonderful!

very outdated rooms and way over priced, they staff would not even honor a cheaper rate we found online that would have saved over $120 if it wasnt so late we would have moved on down the road but we are BW elite loyal only stay with BW. This was so over priced.....

What a great staff!! Andrea and Mark at the front desk were exceptionally nice and very patient and helpful. It is a Best Western so there is nothing special about the room and it is outdated but the views are spectacular! Please get a Mountain View with balcony and enjoy the view!!

I stayed here about 20 years ago, and the property has changed ownership — please be aware of this. The location is fantastic if you're looking to walk and shop + travel north to the beautiful winding roads to slide rock and flagstaff, etc. I did find my room to be dirty with dead bugs in the corner. The hallways were also VERY loud, walls thin. When my kids and I went to the adjacent, non affiliated Arroyo clubhouse — the staff was incredibly rude, so we left. Not worth dealing with rude people these days.

Hotel is well located at one end of the tourist district and the area is easily walked from the hotel. The staff are great the room was good with an amazing view. Very good breakfast included. Only a couple of things that need attention. Our thermostat in the room did not work but was no problem as we set the temp at the unit even though a sign says not to. The wifi is terrible. In the evening it was impossible to stay connected. I would go back but I would contact the hotel to see if they had fixed the wifi. If it is not a deal breaker for you then it's a great place.

Just returned from 4 nights at Best Western Plus Arroyo Roble in Sedona. The hotel is located right in the heart of Sedona. The check in staff were VERY friendly and helpful. The views from your door or windows are awesome. They offer a very nice breakfast. The breakfast chef kept all the food stocked and cooked very well. They had two cooked eggs each day and sausage and the best cooked bacon. A shout out to Gil and Patsy in the breakfast room for all their hard work. We enjoyed it very much. The rooms were very clean, although a little dated…..but we still enjoyed our stay. They have a couple of pools, which we did not use. My husband used the steam room and reported it was great. Very nice facilities.

First time staying at this hotel in Sedona. We had a great room with a patio facing the red rock formations. Room had a fireplace, 2 sinks, shower with three optional water systems as well as jetted tub. Room 114. Room also came with a designated parking space. Very quiet room even though hotel was sold out. Only 5 rooms in that section of hotel. They have a hot breakfast in the morning. It is at the end of the downtown area but nothing is more than 10 minute walk, including some good restaurants s with outstanding views.

BW is located in the uptwon Sedona with so many shops and restaurants in walking distance. Some hotels seemed to have parking issue being in uptown but BW is doing very well making your parking spot reservced during your stay. I booked a room with a fire place and a view and the view was amazing. My husband and I did not even go out on the last day and just enjoyed the view with fireplace on. It truly has an amazing view. I will definitely stay at the hotel next time.

The best trip to Sedona yet, the hotel was perfect and I loved that it had a washer and dryer, best location. Easy to access to food, shopping and sight seeing, love the red rock views and the sound of the creek in the morning while drinking my coffee on the balcony, Can't wait to plan the next trip.

Second time staying at this location. I highly recommend the mountain view rooms. Good location, easy walk to many restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff at the front desk. Complementary breakfast was nice. Wifi was a little slow but the point is to be outside.

I've become a Best Western Plus fan because of the fireplace/spa suites. The Arroyo Roble Hotel was no exception, with a large living area and split bath. Quiet and comfortable. Large complementary breakfast. Did not have time to explore the entire grounds, which are apparently extensive. This is located in central "uptown: surrounded by excellent dining and shopping options.

Beautifully view of Sedona mountains. Clean and the breakfast was probably the best I have had in one of the many Best Westerns I've stayed in. Thank you. Keep up the good work. No negative complaints.

Nathan, the General Manager and the young lady he was training Tuesday evening were fantastic! Very kind and welcoming upon check-in. Room is BEAUTIFUL with an excellent view from the balcony. My colleague and I enjoyed the breakfast, nearly everything was individually wrapped. Only thing I'd modify is the hot entrée items to be clearly labeled as we had to presume what they were. Checkout was a breeze. Will most definitely return when back in town!

We stayed for two nights. You cannot beat the location and view. Just spectacular. We liked the pool. We checked out the clubhouse and creek but we didn't have time to spend much time there. The front desk employee was super helpful and informative. My only gripes are small. The rooms are pretty worn and a bit dirty (dust, cobwebs). The breakfast was just ok—one morning Fox News was blaring in the breakfast room and that was off-putting. The baked goods were stale, “juice” was gross. But, we got plenty to eat to fuel up for our day. Overall, would recommend staying here-mainly for the view and location.

I have turned into quite the five star hotel snob so when I recommend this place you know it must have been a good stay. Although it was a little older, I felt like the room had everything we needed and was clean (that is the most important thing for me - decent condition, and clean). The bathroom is small so if you are a big person you might not be able to shut the door easily, and there wasn't a lot of hot water. However, it suited my husband and I quite well. Most important - it is on the north side of the main strip which allowed us to walk around and see downtown Sedona without worrying about having a car. If we had a free hour, we could pop out and walk around. There was breakfast daily which had hot and cold options (I would grow tired of the food if I stayed too long, but for three mornings it was great and convenient). It was a little unnerving that the people in the kitchen didn't wear masks - pretending covid doesn't exist isn't going to make it go away - however this seems to be an Arizona mindset. We went to the indoor/outdoor pool and used the hot tub one night. We had a balcony with a view which was indeed beautiful, but understand that there is also an ugly field beneath the hotel which I didn't expect. Coffee in room as well as at breakfast. Multiple parking lots. We showed up around 7 or 8pm, and had no problem checking in. We had room 501, and it was quiet. We would stay here again if we return because of the walkable location.

Extremely expensive for what you get. Very basic hotel that needs to be updated. Hot water nonexistent, only lukewarm. No daily cleaning offered even for a 3 day stay. However, the location is good, very convenient if you want to be in uptown Sedona.

As a Landscape Photographer, Sedona is a yearly stop for me and I always look forward to my stay at Arroyo Roble Best Western.Their service is extraordinary and I always enjoy seeing the same staff, discussing Sedona and receiving tips on locations to photograph, that I haven't yet been or known about.

excellent everything at this best western mark the front desk man was above and beyond, the view from our room was excellent they had a good selection of beer and wine in the front lobby as well as computer to use, the hotel was right on the thick of the strip where we wanted to eat and shop i will stay there again the next time we come

We enjoyed a clean and comfortable stay but what really stood out was the amazing service at this resort/hotel. There were also beautiful views of the red rock mountains from the balcony of our room. We would recommend it.

Beautiful hotel in the midst of the Sedona Red Rocks. Location is central to everything there is to do in Sedona. Hotel has ample parking and many areas to sit and relax with a fantastic view. Breakfast options, including a wonderful hot breakfast on some days. Our room was updated and spotlessly clean. Comfy mattress and lots of fluffy pillows! Would definitely stay again when in the area.

Hotel is very aged, which we knew from reviews, but honestly, our room was not clean. The edge of the headboard was dirty, and the rug was very unclean and stained as well. The breakfast was average, powdered scrambled eggs and sliced ham, sweet potato tots, and all of the usual bagels, muffins, cereal, self make waffles. Very clean in breakfast area. Pool was nice, but the best thing was being able to use the pool and hot tub at the neighboring resort. The desk clerk was very very nice at check in. I just wish it was refreshed a little and the furnishings need to be thoroughly cleaned.

The hotel's location was fantastic, but the greatness ends there. The cost averaged greater than $300 per night and definitely was not worth it. The beds were too soft and I slept on the floor. The room was too hot and I was very uncomfortable.

Had ants in the room went to front desk, they sent a maintenance worker who only sprayed outside. Had to find maid who provided spray. Sprayed the room but next day ants were crawling on our belongings. Had to throw out items that were recently purchased. Didn't even eat in the room the 2 nights we were there, always ate outside. The Sauna wasn't working, informed maintenance worker who was near by was told it takes 30 minutes to heat up waited an hour still wasn't warm, informed another maintenance worker who went inside sauna and stated the thermometer states 150 its working, but it was not that hot. The shower drained extremely slowly to just waiting for the water to heat up the tub would be filled up to your ankles. Had to wait over 10 minutes for the next person to be able to shower. For the price was not worth it. Paying over 300 dollars a night I expect to not have ants in the room.

We arrived at the Best Western for the last night of our vacation. One thing that has been a burden everywhere is the 4pm check in time that leaves people wandering around waiting to check in to a place where it's $450 minimum for every 19 hours you're there. Our check in process went well but I had accidentally booked through a 3rd party (those websites are deceptive) and was charged both by the travel website and the hotel. The travel website charged me somewhere in the neighborhood of $380 and then the hotel held my card again for around $425. I was confused but she assured me this was standard. I see other reviews about the room condition. Our room was on the 4th floor and directly over the lobby, a king suite. Although some of the furniture was a bit dated, the room was clean, spacious and comfortable. I had already had an incident that I didn't even bother reporting with bugs at a different hotel that week, so I was definitely leery and this room passed muster well. It seems from the reviews that it just depends on the room. The WiFi was good, bed was good, kitchenette was fine, A/C was a tad loud, bathroom could use an update soon but fine, didn't try the food, though. In the morning we checked out the view by the creek, which was amazing. I did go back to the lobby before we left to check one more time on my credit card charges because it just didn't seem right to me and the amazing person working, Mark, took plenty of time to research it for me and explained the error that had been made and said that they would release the $425 (ish) back to my card. That part was pretty annoying and I can't help but feel fatigued that these hotels are charging so very much to check in at 4 and out at 11. Almost $800 dented into my card to be somewhere for 12 hours makes it not worth it to travel.

This property is in very nice part of Sedona and the view is Amazing! The facilities itself are Awful. The worst I have ever stayed in. The room reaped of serious foul odor. The carpet and furniture was outdated and smelly The lighting was poor. The facet on tub leaked steady and face pace All Night. Toilet also drained all night. I slept up all night ony beach towel..Once we arrived I bought my concerns to front staff Carol..she was very nice and came up to room with some deodorizer. She also recognized the strong odor and contributed to carpet. It was late and no other rooms to move us. She promised manager would address in morning. I checkin was after 8pm and cost was over 400.00 per night. Highway ROBBERY FOR THIS FACILITY. She stated it was 700.00 a night..she gave me a 30% discount... I have stayed at the finest hotels in Vegas.. Bellagio, Venetian, Trump, MGM at a cheaper Nightly rate..Not on A special... THE manager next morning was rude and disrespectful, accused me of stating they we price gauging.. because questioned the rate. 700.00 a night for Best Western? Has anyone EVER paid this for Best Western? It's an Economy hotel..I thought?

Pretty much faulted. Lobby Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, changing rooms so we could have adjoining rooms for our family. The rooms could do with a little updating but on the whole everything was fine, and really clean. Breakfast was great and all appropriate precautions were taken everywhere for Covid. We had Rock View balconies which provided a stunning vista every morning and evening. Nice pool with complimentary access to next door pools and workout rooms, sauna etc. and location for downtown can't be beat. Walk everywhere. If you've ever tried parking in the main town during the evening you'll know how valuable the parking onsite (free) is.

Uptown Sedona area within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and jeep tours. Perfect place to stay. We were extremely happy here and highly recommend it to everyone. This will be the first place I call when I return.

This hotel is at a great location for restaurants and shopping. It has the best red rock views! All staff were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good, better than most and kept very clean. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this hotel!

I took my son to Sedona for his birthday for 2 days. We are both covered with bed bug bites. Never experienced bed bug bites in my life, have been in 28 countries and many hotels. I am terrified, not sure what to do.

This is such an epic place to stay while in Sedona. It's right on Oak Creek, so you can take a short stroll and then jump right into the water. The views are beautiful, the staff is very generous and kind, and you'll be so happy you stayed here. By far my favorite place to stay in Sedona.

Room condition was poor. carpet was extremely dirty. I communicated that to front desk. they just said they would pass it on. breakfast was good although they were not open at 7 and line outside waiting.

The views and location were the best. That it was a great property made it all perfect for our multi family vacation. We had 3 rooms in a row. Walked to all dining and shoping, just what we wanted to do. From the hotel you can walk doiwn to Oak Creek, and there is a trail to follow. Perfect for our 4 small children. Went on the wine tour, highly recommended. We were picked up and dropped off. Went on a jeep tour. So much fun. Hotel staff was very friendly. An overall great experience.

The Sedona Best Western is in a great location. The room has a balcony facing the red rock mountain. Great views of the pool and Sedona Landscape. I had easy access to the my vehicle and easy access to the local village, walking distance. Carpet needed some cleaning attention. Breakfast was great, many choices to choose from, staff was friendly. Hotel needs to work on there concierge service. I would definitely stay here again with my family.

Outstanding view from our room. Breakfast was great with a wonderful variety. Room was clean, pool was nice for the kids and grandkids. We would definitely come back again for another family vacation.

Maybe we were here at a bad time, but I was underwhelmed. We arrived after the 3 p.m. check in time but our room wasn't ready—had t been cleaned—and they said they'd call us when it was. So we went out to walk around and they didn't call, and an hour and a half later we went back to check and it was finally ready. The rom seemed nice, with a nice view of Snoopy rock, but needs updating. The carpet smelled like urine (they do allow pets here), and the shower was awful. The fixtures were literally falling off—the showerhead fell off the wasp when I tried to adjust it—and the temperature was impossible to adjust. It was hot no matter what and at one point, so hot it was scalding (left red marks on my skin). Toiletries mounted in shower were not good (didn't lather). Beds advertised as queen definitely were not. For one night this place was okay—location can't be beat—but I wouldn't stay longer than that.

This hotel looks tired and weary. Our room definitely needed to be refurbished (worn out paint, old carpet, outdated bathroom). Keycards needed to be reprogrammed every day which was really annoying. However the view even from our 2nd floor room was amazing. Having a balcony with patio furniture was definitely a plus. Breakfast was not bad and had a good selection of hot and cold food. Shopping and restaurants available next door or after a short walk. The hotel pool is small but guests are allowed to use the clubhouse pool of the Arroyo Roble Timeshare Hotel. Just a short walk away across the parking lot which had a large indoor/outdoor pool. Plenty of lounge chairs but no food or drink service.

We booked our family reunion in Sedona 9 months in advance because we wanted to secure the perfect place for us and our 3 adult children and their families. Location, location, location…uptown where we walked to everything and had easy parking in hotel lot. All six rooms were in a row on third floor with stunning red rock views from every balcony. AND a big deal for us was the access to Oak Creek where our 8 grand kids played in the water and on the rocks! Great staff and service added to our week long event. Thank you.

very nice location with great view of the hills at sunset and sunrise. hotel met our basic needs for a room, bed and shower for the night. hot breakfast was not provided due to chef being off and short staffed. cold bag was offered.

Run down rooms,needs remodeling ,new furniture etc. refrigerator did not work, no hot food for breakfast one day, juice and milk machine never did work ! Lot of dogs in this place ,some not on leashes ,one in a baby carriage in breakfast room was pushed close to bakery goods and was sniffing them. I wondered if a dog may have slept in my bed the night before ? Lots of stars and step parking lots. With the rate they charged I was expecting a lot more.

We were very happy with our accommodations, we stayed in Villa #1111 four nights in late May. Both bedrooms were on the second floor each had balconies. On the first floor is a walkout patio leading to Adirondack chairs overlooking the creek. The grounds were clean. We enjoyed our morning coffee by the creek each day. Then off to breakfast with approximately a eight minute walk uphill to the hotel location. My parents drove daily due to the hill. But we walked each morning. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was 7-10am plenty to pick front fresh, hot, & cold items. The villa give access to the clubhouse. The gym was well equipped. Both indoor and outdoor pool & hottub were enjoyable after hiking. The breakfast each day was amazing, they changed it up each day. This breakfast was more than above average for being included. The gentleman behind the counter greeted us each day with a smile and chatted briefly. Our first time trying a pistachio muffin, freshly baked. As for the location, this hotel is in the heart of Sedona. Less than ten minute walk to Pink Jeep meeting point, less than five minutes to the Trolly pickup location, dozens of restaurants & shops less than a minute from lobby. Lastly please look at the photos of the Villa. We were happy to come back each day to a spacious kitchen, living room, and 2 & 1/2 bathrooms. Though we didn't watch TV, my parents enjoyed TV in the living room & bedroom.

Hotel is in great location and has gorgeous views. The creek also runs along the hotel. Breakfast was perfect and served till 10AM. Pool has a beautiful view as well. We had a room on first level and it was so relaxing with the lawn out front

This hotel is located on the main strip of Sedona, nestled among the small downtown shops and restaurants. The king room we had wasn't fancy but very spacious and its patio had a fantastic view of the Sedona red rocks landscape. Donna and Mark were possibly the most genuinely friendly, caring and helpful hotel managers I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Our 2 nights in Sedona was the best part of a 9-day road trip across the southwest.

This is the nicest Best Western I have ever stayed in, or really one of the nicest reasonable rate hotels. The red rock views and the lovely pool were my favorite, but it was certainly nice to have a clean room and pleasant staff. Not to mention hot breakfast!

Friends chose this facility for our getaway. When I made the reservation the clerk was most helpful in selecting a room that best fit our wants and needs. When we arrived everything went according to plan. The location of the facility is super - on the main street but at the end so not a feeling of business near the hotel. I had not anticipated how hilly Sedona might be and the location of the hotel was perfect as it was easy to get to shops and dining. Also easy access of nearby points of interest. For those wanting a quieter experience at the hotel I highly recommend room 112 where we stayed. It is a bit of a walk to the pool, spa, and hot tub amenities but that worked just fine with us. In front of the room is a lovely lawn area overlooking beautiful red rock formations. The other two couples with whom we were traveling gravitated to our room and view for meetups. The only hiccup was the hairdryer blew a breaker but staff responded quickly to fix the situation. I would highly recommend this site.

This is a really nice resort. We loved the gorgeous mountain and pool view - we sat on the porch every morning and evening. They were very friendly to our dogs and we were on the ground floor very close to the pet area, which is a really nice grassy area. My doggy girls were so happy to see grass after weeks of being in the desert. :) I was also very happy to be able to use the pool and the adjacent resort property's hot tub. It's nicely centrally located so you can walk the whole town and never need to re-park. Just wish it was a little less expensive - we booked sort of late so didn't have a ton of choices...glad we ended up there, but if/when we come back, we may stay somewhere less expensive.

I have never written a bad review of a hotel but this hotel has the worst housekeeping I have ever encountered. When we arrived in our room and I opened the outer curtain so I could step onto the balcony, a pair of men's underwear from the previous guest fell out and onto the floor. Yuck. I went to the lobby and asked them to have someone remove it and to request that the room be cleaned, as they will not clean the room AT ALL no longer how long you are staying unless you put in a request the night before. Later, I pulled both curtains shut and a balled up pair of socks fell out from behind the second curtain. Obviously housekeeping does not clean the floor next to the curtains, open the curtains when they are cleaning,or clean anything on the balcony. I kicked the socks onto the balcony and the following morning left a note for housekeeping to remove it, along with a tip. Housekeeping did come and maybe they cleaned the room. They definitely left a dirty washcloth that was not ours lying on the sink, so maybe they cleaned with it. I threw that on the balcony too. I have never seen such poor service. I am sorry I chose to stay here as it's clear they have no standards for cleanliness. In addition, the bathroom is tiny, walls seem to be dirty, furniture looks like t's been here since the 50's, and air conditioner is quite noisy with no option to change the temperature or turn it off. The location is close to shops and restaurants if that's all you want in a hotel. Last time we were here we stayed at the Hampton Inn and I truly regret that we did not stay there again.

Nice hotel in the heart of Sedona within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and great views. Many amenities including pool, hot tub, fitness center (requires walking stairs to reach). Breakfast included.

My cousin and I stayed in creekside villa 1234. Everything about the villa was perfect. The two bedroom two bath suites on the second floor were very comfortable and the main floor had a full kitchen, dining area, living room and patio. It is a steep walk to the breakfast room, main lobby, and street. We didn't mind this as we are in excellent physical shape but anyone with mobility issues may want to reconsider staying in one of the villas. Special thanks to Amanda McDougle, Nick, and the lovely breakfast staff for a memorable stay.

Location was the most positive aspect of staying here. Dingy, old, dirty rooms. Couples experienced “slept in appearance”, coffee service areas in room that had not been cleaned and restocked. Human hair clumps on blankets, sinks that didn't drain, mildew in showers. Pet friendly rooms had bed skirts with dog urine. Broken, loose tiles on handicapped walkway.

We have made our reservation for the villas through best westerns with website and placed a note that we were bringing our dog. When we arrived they checked us in and saw our dog and said wait a minute we can't place you on the property , that is not a dog friendly area. We just drove there from SoCal to find out after charging us and accepting our request noted with the dog, we were lied to. After yelling at us that there is no way to place us in the suite, they placed us in a double queen room with bugger stains on walls, dirty carpet , shades not covering the window, only decoration and oh said they were doing us a favor and charged way more expensive rate than the room deserves. Granted location is very nice, you can walk in the town and walk around the creek. The bathrooms have soap dispensers that reserves soap so you can't really take a shower. Oh well, this is not a dog friendly hotel, it is dirty and the people at the reception are rude and unprofessional. We took our puppy to a place where he was welcomed. Went to Hilton and had a wonderful stay.

Sedona is expensive to stay at, even a short time mid-week. It is also packed and to capacity on a Tuesday!!! So if you just need a place to sleep with a comfortable (softer) bed..this is fine. There is a breakfast, so that's nice. The front desk staff was great and helpful. Hotel is easy to move around. Parking is tough but we found one eventually. However the images on line showed updated rooms. Our room was not. It was old decor and furnishings, dusty charger outlets, stale room smell, outdated bathroom etc. Nice big TV but not a lot of variety to watch. It was just a "fine" stay. Our room had a patio, that was a perk if you like to drink coffee in the morning. Overall I was disappointed with the room. I wasn't expecting a resort but I was at least expecting what I booked online for sure. So if you just need a quick night or two right in the middle of town, this is that. If you want a "vacation" hotel, I would not say this is that.

We stayed in a villa right along Oak Creek. It was absolutely beautiful, and the villa was one of the largest and roomiest room we have ever stayed in a Best Western hotel. It felt almost like a truly deluxe experience except that the villa was beginning to show its age, with an aging 1980s style and some wear and tear. But that was a small issue compared with the incredible size and location, along with a very friendly and professional staff who made a great COVID safe breakfast pivot with a cafeteria style to-go breakfast with generous helpings of both hot and cold foods. Sedona is amazing and beautiful and our villa at this hotel was a wonderful home away from home from which to experience it.

This location is walking distance to everything Sedona has to offer. The onsite parking is great, especially during the busy season. The hotel was COVID friendly. The hot breakfast was great and the grab and go breakfast option was nice to have for the mornings we left before 7:00. We stayed on the fifth floor and had an amazing view of the Red Rocks.

This is my favorite family friendly hotel in Sedona. It's close to everything, views are great and there is so much to do with the kids. The staff (Mark) is wonderful and very helpful. I'd recommend it to anyone with kids of all ages.

We typically don't stay at Best Westerns because they don't have the reputation for being as nice as other properties. However, we had gift cards for Best Western and decided to redeem them for our spring break. We stayed in the Villas and they were beautiful, clean and just as, if not, higher end than many other properties that we have stayed at a similar price point. If we return to Sedona, we will HANDS DOWN stay at this property and will consider Best Westerns in the future. This was such a pleasant surprise and we have no complaints at all. Highly recommend!

Nice place to stay, reasonable price for all the ammenties. We were given access to everything and they did serve hot breakfast on most days so that was nice. All personnel were friendly. We did not use room service but they do offer it if you need it. The view was beautiful all around. Clean areas and the hot breakfast was actually great! Steam room, sauna, jacuzzis and 2 pools. In town, great convenient spot to a lot of places easy to find. I reccomend if you are looking ffg or a budget friendly spot that feels clean and open.

You are basically paying for the location. Room was dusty, used coffee pod in coffee maker, could hear every move above and to the side of us. Drapery all see through. Property was pretty, pool area was clean. When fuse was blown ( no TV, microwave, fridge) maintenance did respond quickly to fix the problem. Just expect more for a $450 / night.

The location of the hotel is good, it's in the Uptown so it is very commercialized with a lot of restaurants. If you want to have a more "local" feel then this is not the place to be in. The rooms are old and they are not in the best shape. A lot of little things not working right. Our hairdryer was half broken, AC thermostat was not operational, the mattresses were worn out too. We dealt with it since it was just couple nights stay, but for the price we paid I expected better quality.

Hotel literally just off State Rte 89A in Uptown Sedona. Great food and shopping within walking distance, little pricey but GOOD. Amanda and staff made us feel welcome, pillows were dreamy and breakfast great. Applewood bacon melted in my mouth! Staff knew hiking trails too!

I would never ever stay at this Best Western Resort. We had a condo at over $500 per night. First of all check in was a nightmare as the condo had not been cleaned and we were given the key!!! at this point it was almost 4 PM and we were told that it would take an hour to get to us to clean the room...because they were toooo busy. So many things were broken in the condo we were furious. Even tho we were given generous credit for all we went thru the sadist thing was that no one took responsibility for what was happening. This "we are too busy" excuse only angered us more. Do yourself a favor .... don't consider this property.

I was told “it's the last room available.” The bathroom tub was dirty, I didn't even take a shower. Food buildup along the front of the microwave and refrigerator. The smell of the room was a mix between old and stale and chemicals which ultimately led to terrible symptoms like sore throat, cough and headache and losing an entire day of travel.

I just spent 7 nights at BW Sedona and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I loved the location in the middle of downtown, a walking distance to many shops, restaurants & convenient stores and a 10 min ride to 89A with more options to eat and shop. Lovely and very professional staff. Everybody works very efficiently. They make you feel welcome. My room had a balcony and the view on the rocks was superb! It was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The bedding was impeccable and the plush pillows and the mattress were extremely comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel!

We stayed in the rooms with the jetted jacuzzi on the end of the property so it was pretty private over there with a big green grassy area right infront of our room. Mark at the front desk was exceptional and deserves a raise. Super helpful and happy to help I appreciate that. Pam also in the kitchen serving breakfast was super sweet even though she was very busy she was happy and kind. Overall experience was great at this best western and we never had to move our car you can just walk everywhere. Location was the best!

Not only was the architecture and decor of the grounds beautiful like an Italian villa but the room was very clean and the beds very nice. The complimentary breakfast had a nice selection and my kids even swam in the pool! It's March so a little cool but obviously the temperature of the water was high enough for them to enjoy it! They were happy it was open til 9 pm. The view! All balconies face the spectacular view!

Have stayed here before. The location and views cannot be beat. Sadly maintaince continues to be deferred. From tired furniture and a screen door that fell off its frame to empty shampoo dispenser the owners need to take care of things. Sad when the hotel GM checks you in, checks the room and serves you breakfast. Desperately need to hire some staff and put this back to its earlier glory.

A hidden gem n the Uptown area of Sedona. The views are amazing and you can walk to so many shops and restaurants without the worry of finding a parking spot. This s our favorite place to stay in Sedona.

Location is perfect, walking distance to everything. Breakfast was great. Room is dated, but sufficient. This hotel, like every other one in the US, has used COVID as an excuse to drop maid service and save cost. I don't blame them, but hope this doesn't become the new norm now that they know they can get away with it.

Great things about this property - location, location, location!!! Great location to be able to walk everywhere downtown. Beautiful views from all of the rooms and great areas to spend time outdoors on the property. Also, the bed is extremely comfortable! Everything is very clean and parking is available. Great patios off of every room! Things that could be improved - Due to Covid, there is no housekeeping. We were not informed of that ahead of time or at check-in. We didn't find out until day 3! (We assumed they just forgot our room on the first day) Also, on the days when a warm breakfast is offered, it was really good. But we had 2 days that were "Grab & Go" which we were less than impressed with. If you like things like pre-packaged muffins, yogurt, and granola bars, you will be fine. But if you like protein or anything healthy, you will have to go elsewhere. Again, we weren't informed of this until we went down to get our warm bfast one morning & found out there wasn't one. I would definitely choose to stay here again, but just wish we'd known some of these things ahead of time.

This is the worst Best Western I've ever stayed at. Our bedding was dirty - had to change it ourselves since nobody from housekeeping was available. Staff mentioned twice they are understaffed. No hot breakfast two of the mornings as promised when we made reservations and staff did not make coffee (I prefer not to use in-room, public coffee maker especially when the room appears unclean.) Shower drain plugged so showered is 3 inches of water every morning for a week. Front desk said maintenance would unplug drain, but it never happened. Hotel is generally in disrepair and appears to be on its way out?

Do not miss this property! Excellent location due to view of the Red Rock, proximity to Oak Creek (the actual creek) and room types available. Most of the rooms in the main building face the Red Rock - unobstructed and exceptional views. There is a cottage for the ultimate in privacy. The property has these separate 5 Signature rooms with fireplaces and some with in-room hot tubs. My favorite is one of the Villas directly in front of the creek. Yes these run a bit more than the main building but it is a completely different experience. Full kitchen, 2 floors, fireplaces, balconies and literally 3 metres from Oak Creek. Then there is the Customer Service. The General Manager takes good care of his Team. I have had interactions with Donna and Sam at the Front Desk - exceptional humans. A manager named Amanda is highly attentive and really knows the area. I ran into the Housekeeping Manager Lorrie - she runs a tight ship! Her rooms are exceptionally clean and her follow-up is excellent. The Breakfast Team - Patsy and Chef Gil are so cool, too. These people are all local so they their suggestions for anything is spot-on! Check out this property - it's worth it.

Great service. Great stay. Could have used updated carpeting. The room got very dry at night. Overall service was great. Free breakfast was a plus. I thought the hotel was pleasant but could definitely use some work on the interior. The front desk staff was wonderful and the people that served breakfast were amazing.

A nice hotel in uptown Sedona. My room (304) was a two queen room with magnificent views, located one floor up from lobby and entrance. Grounds are built on a very steep slope, so if you have mobility issues be sure to request this main building. The steep exit driveway would be an issue for manual transmission cars and motorcycles, but should not be an issue for automatic transmission cars (which are now the norm). Room had mini refrigerator and microwave and flat screen television (none of which I used). Receptionist was particularly friendly. Several shops and restaurants within walking distance. Combination shower and bathtub and tub was long enough to stretch out my long legs when sitting up. Sink was outside bathroom, a setup that I find annoying. Lighting in this area was also dim (especially on right half, since light was left of sink area). Real problem though is lack of electrical outlets in sink area. I thought there weren't any and finally found one hidden underneath the sink (see photo). You would have to get on your knees to access it but even then most common items like an electric toothbrush or electric razor would not have a long enough cord to reach. You would need to bring an extension cord. I didn't need it thankfully, but if you did this could be a reason to stay elsewhere.

Located in the heart of downtown, walking distance to many dinning option, stores. Hotel is very well kept and offers many amenities. Room was updated, spacious, very comfortable beds, very clean and free onsite parking. Free breakfast and heated pool was a plus. Definitely exceed all my expectations

The location is nice, and the bathroom was clean, but that is about the best I can say about this hotel. The chairs in the room were disgusting and had numerous stains on them. It did not appear as if the room has been vacuumed in quite some time, and a power strip had been attached halfway up the wall (??). This hotel is very outdated and for the rates charged, the owners should invest in updating and cleaning the rooms.

We stayed 1 night king suite @ $205 per night. As this was a Best Western Plus I expected a level of cleanliness. The bed was clean and comfy or I'd have left. Room was more inline with Quality Inn. With Covid I wrongly assumed cleanliness would be top of any hotel's priority. I had never seen a more disgusting lamp on our night stand. Staff see for yourself check out room 406. I can not believe Best Western let's you call it a Plus. I had photos but they were too gross to keep on my phone. Lots of hotels in town you don't need to stay here. The only asset at the hotel is desk staff

Heated pool (84 degrees) and nice pool area with an amazing view. Great weekend breakfast!!! Parking was easy and we never had to park in the lower area. Easy to take a walk around Sedona and not have to deal with parking elsewhere.

We stayed on the 3rd floor with a great view of the mountains behind the building. Front desk lady was very pleasant and friendly. The room had some signs of wear but was clean and my favorite amenity was the bed. It was extremely soft exactly how I like it. Very pricey but the location is why we figured it was so expensive. It is on the Main Street where all the gift shops and restaurants are located. Breakfast was great. Due to covid, you tell the attendant what you want and she brings it to you in a fo go plate. We ate outside on the patio.

It was pricey, but we really liked the Best Western. We had a fourth-floor room with a view of the red rocks from our room's balcony. The room itself was generously sized, with a king bed, sofa, pleasant southwestern furnishings, and a good-sized TV. The room had two sink areas. There was good pressure in the shower. My husband is tall, and he complained about the very low toilet. The heating system kept the room at a comfortable temperature. Breakfast was great for the current times when some hotels are using Covid as an excuse to drastically cut that amenity. The Best Western served scrambled eggs, sausage, cereal, and fresh fruit. After getting your food, you can eat at outside tables with beautiful views of the red rocks. The place is large, but there seemed to be plenty of parking. We were disappointed that the gym and indoor hot tub were closed, but maybe they will be open the next time we come back.

Overall good value given the high prices in Sedona. Room was just average - bed soft for my taste. Most all staff were very pleasant and helpful - exception was desk clerk at check in who seemed to be overwhelmed. Breakfast is currently grab and go bags due to Covid restrictions. Pool area is nice but didn't use - reportedly water was too cold.

Great location, great views! Pick a room facing the creek and you'll wake up to the beauty of Sedona. Every morning we'd pick up the delicious, free hot breakfast & eat on our patio facing the red rocks. The front desk also gave us a wonderful tip to visit the creek behind the property and it was one of our favorites spots for serene beauty and pics! The hotel is also in walking distance to many restaurants and shops. The rooms were a little dated but otherwise clean. Also, there was convenient free parking but broken up into different lots downhill. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

My boyfriend had booked us a Red Rock View room, which was in the main hotel. I had no idea how large the actual place was. Actually quite big. We were on the top floor facing the beautiful scenery. Room was clean and staff was friendly. We did not stay for breakfast so I can't say what was available and how it was. I do know that you ordered it at the front desk and you could bring it back to your room. The hotel was quiet and we had no issues.

Over priced, found a T-shirt by the air conditioner and an old yogurt if the refrigerator. The microwave is on its last leg. Only thing good was the view but you can get that for free in Sedona just by taking a drive.

The hotel is old and the upkeep is poor. I kept smelling something rotten and after some searching found a leaking bottle of spoiled milk and a dirty sock under the bed skirt. The night table was also filthy. I did not stay and received a refund. If you value your health, DO NOT STAY HERE!

Friendly personnel. Location although secluded yet walking distance of many restaurants and shoppes. That said, facilities were aged, very! Bathrooms needed an update 2 years ago. Rooms were clean, granted. But, these were not $475 per night bathrooms. They were not $75 per night bathrooms. Light switches are broken, (shampoo, rinse, body lotion) dispenser installed sideways (really?), door scratched, hair dryers will last 4 min before not working anymore, shovers heads dripped, toilet will wake up the whole hotel every-time it flushes...again, aged. We feel taken, we should get at least a 50% credit.

Great Location if you couldn't tell from title. Right in town with dining and shopping easy walk. Amazing views from backside (ask for room with a view...we had 508 5th floor). Walked down to the creek and family had a great hike. Room was comfortable but a little dated but you don't stay much in the room. Bed and pillows comfortable and nice balcony with the best view! Worth the money to walk to everything. Plenty of parking too.

So sad that in such a gorgeous place, we actually had to leave early, because our room was so disgusting. We arrived and were so excited about the location of this hotel and even checking in the service was pleasant and accommodating. We got to the room and that's where our excitement ended. The room was dark and dingy we opened the drapes to the balcony which we paid extra for thank goodness, only to find food crumbs all over it. The room was dirty and run down the liner on the chair was hanging down, the toilet ran all night, the blow dryer bag was so dirty I was afraid to use it. We paid resort price for this room total price gouging beware! Nothing is open, no maid service, grab & go breakfast, of course all to be expected under Covid circumstances. It's the dirty dingy run down condition of the room that really disappointed for that price you would at least expect it to be clean especially since sanitation is such a big deal now. I'm baffled and will be more careful next time location caught me off guard. As a member of Best Western points program I thought Plus was top notch and there was a criteria they had to meet? Clearly that standarddoes not apply here.

Nice location, stunning view, very willing to please staff. Comfy bed and linens. Liked having Kuerig coffee instead of some off brand pod-like system. Very pleasant staff. Too cool to use pool and hot tub closed due to COVID. Building a little dated but well maintained. Parking was easy and plentiful.

AC woke us up during the night every time the AC started, the carpet was dirty in a few places, we expected more for the price we paid. The hotel's location is in the heart of Sedona close to restaurants and shopping, this is the hotel's best feature.

There are some small flaws and small issues plumbing. Cleanliness wasn't the best just looked like the room hadn't been occupied in a couple weeks and the plumbing issue was the tub wouldn't drain very fast filled it to bath my son and took 20 to 30 minutes to drain 4in of water out of it the upside to this property was the views we were over looking the canyon and it was amazing

This place was a bit of a disappointment for the very ‘high season' October price; Not worth it. Upon immediate arrival - noticed glass desk top was not properly cleaned. Piece of hair found on sink counter, and cigarette buds and empty coke cans left outside near a completely neglected fountain. The pool water was cold, despite having been told before booking by front desk that the water is ‘heated'. Big lie. There were a few other things noticed which indicated this place is going down hill. The recreational room was closed, and we were provided with a grab-and-go breakfast due to CV19. Tip for light sleepers: The AC unit turns off (does not go automatically into fan mode) when it reached desired temp. So we had to set the room temp at 59 degrees, which made it better, but it was definitely a problem. So if your the type that wakes up when AC units go off and on - I suggest bring a white noice machine. The plus side is the views, and walking distance to all the shops. However, it was very difficult to find a coffee place near by open very early in the morning. (was told it was a pandemic thing) The room did provide coffee, which was fine.

The place needs a major facelift or tear down. Dark and grubby it was pretty depressing. The carpet was stained and needed to be replaced. The only upside was the view of the mountains. We also had a view of what was once a fountain that was in disrepair. What was really bad was the fact that so few people had a mask on. We were happy to leave after one night.

We were excited because the hotel is right on the main strip and close to shopping but disappointed. - mattress was horrible and sunk in - rooms need make over, chairs grossly stained, cushions flat - food on the floor, beer caps still on balcony - upon check-in front desk never said anything about breakfast "to-go" due to covid - at checkout front desk never asked how was our stay or thank you for staying with us.

This place has very clean and comfortable rooms. The balconies have great views of the red rocks across Oak Creek. The staff and accommodations were great. They are handling the COVID situation very well. Higher floors are better for the views.

While arriving in Sedona and checking in to the hotel the staff was friendly and helped me with a speedy check in regardless of us checking in around midnight. The stay was pleasant because the room was spacious and the red rock views were amazing. Keep in mind that because it is a pet friendly hotel you might have a lingering smell of dog smell in your room. I did not report this because we had our service dog with us and my wife wasn't too bothered by it. We checked out the 2nd day early in the AM because we had an early tour. After this tour me and my wife who were celebrating our 2nd anniversary fell in love with Sedona and we decided to call off work in Vegas and spend one more spontaneous night. We decided to go back to Best Western to see if there was a possibility that they had any available rooms on a Friday! Chelsea who was at the front desk advised me that they had a 2 night stay minimum. I understand that her job is to let people know their hotel policies. But, she was rude about it and when I asked if I could possibly speak to her manager who was in the back. She refused and said that she knew what her manager would say... she said that in about 30 minutes when it became 5 pm I would be able to come check back with her to see if there was still a room available for just one night. So what I don't get is, I spend $650 dollars for the previous two nights, and you can't accommodate me when there were rooms still available? Not even get your manager out to even speak with me? Okay, every other hotel was booked.. so we ended up driving back 4 hours back to Vegas and ending our short vacation. I am a member for Best Western reward points and I am disappointed with how this nice place can hire such an unprofessional employee. Thanks Best Western.

Great location near uptown shops and restaurants. Little creek behind the hotel is a hidden gem and delight. Service was friendly and warm, especially Justin, at the front desk. BUT... I expect much more for approx $350. My reserved room was not available until after 5pm, same for other guests. One lady had to switch rooms twice, first because of click roaches, second for a dirty room. We found 1 live bug and 1 dead bug in our room, but glad did not find cick roach infestation. We were told bugs happen on ground floor rooms. The setting facing the red mountains was beautiful and tranquil. But, the room itself was tired and not so clean. The coffee machine was disgusting and could not be used Bandaid hanging from the ceiling fan. No towels by the pool. So-called breakfast was a granola bar. It was not a bad place to stay, despite the above. The low rating is just because it is a poor value for the price. At the price they are getting, they can afford a little updating, cleaning, and better breakfast.

Do not stay at this hotel unless all you want is a view! The hotel is old, rundown and dirty. The room we stayed in was 508 and the multiple things that were wrong are: Outlet by the sink did not work. The toilet was not anchored to the floor and moved each time you sat on it. I am not talking about the toilet seat, I am talking about the whole toilet base. The air conditioner was as loud as my vacuum cleaner. There was no shampoo in the dispenser which made me think about how much attention was paid to the cleaning. The cabinets were old and beat up. The screen door was off the track and obviously hadn't been used for awhile. The carpeting was old and frayed and the walls were dirty. All this for $400 a night! The location is good and the view is great but I will never stay here again. In fact, I think I am done with Best Western altogether.

We chose this hotel for the location and view which were both top notch! As a family who have done a fair amount of travel during Covid (through necessity not choice) I have to say this hotel managed guest expectations very badly. The rate (not cheap) included buffet breakfast which due to the pandemic was replaced with a packet containing one floury apple, a cereal bar and muffin - not much by way of nutritional value! We ended up shopping for our own meals as all amenities besides the pool where also closed (another fact that wasn't specified in booking) but the biggest gripe was that the trashcans are not cleaned during your stay with no facility or service for even clearing trash yourself resulting in overflowing garbage. With only one member on staff at any time this hotel is under resourced and overpriced. Our overall feeling was that a reduced rate for the reduced offering would have been welcomed and with better communication on check-in, our expectations would have been better managed.

What a great venue, centrally located and taking requests for higher floors. The view is Wonderful and the ice machine is convenient on every floor. We were on the 3rd floor and had a Beautiful view of the mountain range. Clean room and amenities with a good shower head and nice dressing area. We were a short walk from shopping and dinning. Very convenient for all the sightseeing that we wanted to do. Check out the Church of the Holy Cross, the Airport Lookout and the Safari tour. Learned a lot about the area and people. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

The place is located at the beginning of town great location to walk the shops. The staff is super nice and the dog area is clean. The room could use more cleaning in between patrons. There was dog urine on the bed skirt and dog food in the chairs and on the floor. The beds were clean and so was the bathroom. The views from the balcony are Amazing. Just wish they would allow the dogs down by the creek. Dogs are not allowed in the creek area or in the creek side villas.

Nice room with balcony and great view. Walked to shops and restaurants. Spent the evening down by the pool playing dominoes and enjoying the view! A little more than some of the other places but well worth it!

I rented a double queen on floor. Very comfortable accommodation. Beds were super comfy Slept great. Coffee, fridge and microwave were perfect. Tub in shower was useful to soak after walking up and down to pool and Creek. I only gave 4 stars because the amenities listed were mostly unavailable due to Covid. The heated pool and spa / facilities at Arroyo were closed to BW guests due to Covid. And the bag breakfast was undesirable but at least it was useful for the bottle water, juice and apple. The staff were very friendly. The hotel appeared neglected with dead plants in pots and decorative fountains dry and not functioning! I would not stay if I had to pay more than $160 a night as the value would not be there but I would stay there again if I could get that price again since it is one of the most affordable uptown options with free, ample parking! Oh, and put some umbrellas up at pool to give guests an added bonus and escape from the sun!

Good location. Nice red rock views from the balcony. Close to the creek & stores. I booked two rooms. However, the rooms were not up to par with cleanliness. I found hairs on the bed, lamp & toilet as soon as I checked in. There were old candies on the floor. I notified the staff but I had to change the sheets myself. Although the staff was nice, it looked like theyre short staffed. Just disappointed that given the pandemic situation, the hotel didnt adhere to strict cleaning guidelines.

Great Stay overall. Great staff, Great view! Everything went well. Stay here when going to Sedona,you will not regret it! Also a nice pool, and walking distance to oak creek. You are also it the heart of town and are able to walk to everything.

The location was fantastic! An easy walk to restaurants & shops. Pool was very nice. Staff was extremely friendly. Service was lacking a bit because of covid (we were told to leave trash outside the door and someone would pick it up but it just sat). The elevator was out of order our second night which made carrying our disabled daughter up to the 5th floor difficult but it was fixed by morning. Overall we'd stay again.

The staff was helpful and very friendly. However it's not their fault that this property is in need of some maintenance and tender loving care. When we arrived the elevator was out of service. We were on the top floor so had to carry bags and coolers up the stairs. Although one member of the staff helped out. He was great. The ice makers on floors 4 and 5 were out of service. See photo of a stain on our love seat. Gross. The view was great. Overall not worth the price.

Excellent location, just steps from Uptown Sedona Tourist area. The room was big, bed was comfortable. The staff was able to place us on the 5th floor (top) for an amazing view of the Red Rocks. The only issues we had were the shower head did not have a setting for a "lighter" spray. The water came out like blasting no matter which setting you had it on. Looked like many of the openings of the shower head were blocked and may need cleaned out due to hard water. Also the back of the toilet rocked as you get up and down. This bumped against the wall each time, and when you sleep, the knock would wake you up. I think that since the pandemic put a hold on the hot breakfast, there should have been a discount on the room to make up for the grab and go breakfast which was a frozen breakfast burrito, a power bar and an apple. No coffee was available except for the one shot in the rooms. Had to go to McDonalds 3 miles away to grab a good cup of coffee in the morning. The staff was nice and accommodating, but did not have a shower cap to offer for guest not wanting to get their hair wet in the shower spray. I would probably stay here again.

One of the reasons I stayed at this BW had to do with the great reviews but they must have been written 20 or more years ago. Nicolaus was really great at our check in and was kind enough to give us a 5th floor room. The covid virus has made it difficult to connect with people but Nicolaus did everything right. This hotel, in my opinion, is very dated and is much need to some tender loving care. It wasn't horrible but certainly seems like a jewel in the rough. I bet it was absolutely beautiful sometime in the long forgotten past. The view of the red rocks was simply amazing and they were the stars of the show. I walked down to the creek and you should consider it too. But it's a long ways back up the hill if you are not in the greatest shape. But you can drive down if you need too. A couple of things I noticed that bothered me about this hotel. There was an opened small bottle of lotion that was left by a previous guest on the vanity and that's not a great sign that the room was cleaned very well. The bathroom is very small and dated. But I thing I really wonder about is the pool area. First of all I did not see any evidence that an employee cleaned the pool area or serviced the pool water. Not a good thing in my opinion. The location in the Uptown area was fantastic. Lots of local places to visit. My experience turned out great but I would not stay at this place again.

Rating: 10/10 Overall, it's a great, picturesque Arizona resort to unpack and leave your worries behind. The scenery of Sedona is great, with many casual places to eat near the resort! There are no beach vendors bugging you. The beach is excellent for swim This is not a review for a luxurious Ritz Carlton. This place is casual and laid-back. This is a place to read a book, listen to music and watch the days go by. No nightlife, except for live music until 9pm, out at the bars, but that is a positive. Positives outweigh the negatives, so do not hesitate to book this property. Golf - less than a mile away Biking - we went to West Sedona and rented bikes for the Bell Rock trail - awesome People - eager to help and friendly. The manager was kind and welcoming. Housekeeping is on the ball, kind and very professional. I always had clean towels, bedding and so forth. Security - I always felt safe on this resort. Pool - wonderful and chill Grocery store - 2 miles away to stock your frig Humidity - none = weather was 90-100 in early July, and is perfect for sunbathing. A slight breeze. Nearby - so much but we went to the Grand Canyon and loved it! Quiet - property is on a creek - and beds are modern and wonderful for sleep. I was never in the room except to sleep, and shower off, so it was fine. Rooms had a full kitchen, sofa sleeper, patio, 2 TV's, etc. that you find in most RCI one BR timeshares. The 2 BR was huge!! There was an upstairs and downstairs. No complaints! The shower was the best I've ever experienced in Az. Quiet after 10pm. Sleep was not a problem, and I did not have to complain of any noise. Airport -Phoenix or Flagstaff Rental car - yes if you are flying in from PHX Dining - so many choices within walking distance!! Pool - A+ Wi-Fi - free - adequate and plenty of bandwidth Grounds - A+ - beautiful, clean and updated Negatives - no fitness center due to this darn pandemic, so I brought my own beer and we biked and walked all over. Hiking is beautiful on Cathedral Rock Date of stay: July 1 to 7, 2020

Was wonderful!! We were around everything so didn't have to travel far. Excellent service at front desk. Due to the Coronavirus, wasn't able to experience the fullness of it's Services which makes me want to go back to experience the full services.

We recently stayed at this hotel for our anniversary. It is not a "resort" experience, but it was perfect for what we needed! The views are as good as advertised, and we even saw deer and raccoon from our patio. We spent most of our trip to Sedona hiking and exploring the trails. This room was great to come back to with MANY restaurant and shopping experiences just a few steps away. The bed was very comfortable and felt great to rest in after our long hikes. I would highly recommend this hotel for the views and the location, but the overall service was great too.

Considering what they charge for these rooms you would expect them to be clean and all items in working condition. The room was dirty with old soda containers, wrappers and even socks from the previous person(s) who rented the room. The patio had dried food and debris around the table and chairs. The refrigerator did not work but the staff changed it relatively quickly when brough to their attention. There is a sign on the ac unit to only use the wall thermostat when controlling room temperature, however, the wall thermostat did not work. When the staff arrived to review the issue (a second time) we were told to ignore the sign that says "use wall thermostat". The breakfast "grab and go" bags consisted of a piece of fruit, granola bar, muffin and bottle of water. Again, considering what you pay for these rooms you would think they could provide a few more options while maintaining occupant safety due to Covid-19. No mention of alternate breakfast during any communications with making the reservation until we checked in. Will not stay at this hotel again and would not recommend it. Poor value for what is charged, even with the good Sedona views.

After our London honeymoon was cancelled, we chose Sedona as a quick getaway and a mini-honeymoon during challenging times of COVID-19. I had stayed at this hotel several times over the last 30 years and enjoyed it immensely, so wanted to return. We were upgraded to a top floor, corner room with exquisite red rock views, we had a lovely swim in one of the pools, dinners in local restaurants and "bag to go" treats for breakfast. The hotel was clean and very safe during the pandemic. We had a great time and would come back again!

I asked for 30 minutes late checkout, they said, "No, then we'd have to let everyone have late checkout, and it's too complicated to tell the cleaners which rooms not to enter at 11." So we went to hurry, get ready and pack. 11:02 the phone rang reminding me of the 11am checkout - yes, I know. 11:07, they knocked at the door to remind me of the 11am checkout - yes, we KNOW, we are just zipping up our suitcases! We go load the car and by 11:22 I was paying at the reception desk. It was my birthday, I was traveling alone with my three middle school daughters. It felt extremely un-accommodating that 1) they couldn't allow 30 minutes extra time and 2) kept harassing us as we were hurrying to get out. I've never had a hotel not allow that, and I've run an airbnb business for 10 years and never have once treated anyone that way. Oh and the sofa bed had used dirty sheets they needed to come replace after we checked in, there was cake smeared all over the outdoor patio furniture and the slider was stuck shut, which they had to come open for us - but I still would have written a good review after these mis-haps if it hadn't been for this rude woman at checkout. The view from this place is breathtaking, but I wouldn't stay here again because I really didn't like how the staff conducted business.

I felt a bit misled by the hotel's website stating that they have an indoor/outdoor pool, two spas, and a game room. The site also states that Oak Creek is on property and easily accessible. In fact, all of these things are on a sister property down the road (walking distance) and you receive access to them when you stay at Best Western. The hotel itself has a small outdoor pool with great views of the mountains. The hotel was clean, except for the pool area where we found pine needles covering the seating area. "Breakfast", because of COVID, was a "sack lunch"-type breakfast that included a small granola bar, small danish, and a bottle of water. With very few breakfast options available because of COVID (most restaurants within walking distance don't open until 10 or 11AM) this was disappointing. If you plan to head out early to beat the heat on some hikes, I highly suggest bringing your own breakfast items. The location of the hotel is fantastic - within walking distance of stores, restaurants, and tour venues!

Very nice grounds. I stayed on the first floor (lobby is on the second floor) but in doing so I was able to walk out on a grassy area with a live size statue with the red rocks in the background. The lobby is small and the only bathroom is in your hotel room. The breakfast isn't as advertised. No hot meal, just a bag breakfast with a bottle of water, granola bar, muffin, and piece of fruit. I only stayed one night. There is easy access to get to the other side of the street where restaurants (the hotel doesn't have a restaurant or room service) and shops are. You pay for what you get and that is the case here. A very neat & clean room with a friendly staff. They do have a swimming pool. If there was more to this hotel I wasn't made aware of it. I'm being picky here, but there weren't any extra pillows or blankets in the room. The toilet and bathtub were low to the ground (great for children). I arrived at 7PM and only stayed 1 night because the trip was a business trip, so I didn't take the time to roam the grounds. So to be fair, I have given a 4 STARS because I didn't take the time to explore the hotel and/or hotel grounds to verify all that they advertised to have.

Our room faced the Red Rocks and it was a gorgeous view. We liked using the pool and clubhouse by the villas. Our room was clean and very comfortable. The only thing I might suggest is to bring your own pillows. The ones we had were horrible. Very flat. You could actually bend them in half. Otherwise it was an awesome hotel with very friendly front desk staff.

First time visit to Sedona and stayed in a Creekside Villa. They are wonderful and worth the extra price. They back to Oak Creek, and the sound of flowing water is very relaxing. Easy walk to the main strip for shopping, dining, and taking the Sedona Trolley.

I travel for work quite a bit and have stayed in at least a 1000 hotels over the last decade this hotel was absolutely unbelievable and far above my highest expectations I stayed In the signature series hot tub sweet with my ex wife and I'm not kidding this was literally the most memorable night mean her ever had together the Room was amazing the location was great the Room exceeded all expectations and the staff at this hotel were unbelievably above par I highly recommend this place and I will stay there again as soon as I can

This hotel fills in all the blanks on your bucket list. Location is excellent as it is within walking distance from the downtown area, shops and restaurants. We had a wonderful room with a balcony that overlooked the beautiful red rocks. The room was very comfortable & spacious. Breakfast was very good with a excellent variety of items. Great stay and the staff was very personable & professional.

Beautiful, comfortable, stylish rooms with stunning views. The lobby is gorgeous - warm, sleek, with a fiReplace built with Grand Canyon marble/stone. Staff is so caring and accommodating - especially Nicholas the General Manager. They helped us during the pandemic to plan outings when everything was closed down. We had a wonderful stay accomplishing several climbs and hikes - most suggested by NIcholas. Kudos!

We stayed at this hotel in early March. We were able to get the King Suite with fireplace. Wonderful room, wonderful view. We woke up with a view of Snoopy Rock. There are many shops and restaurants within walking distance and much more just a short drive away. Sedona is very peaceful and enjoyable.

This hotel has wonderful red rock views right off the private balcony. Breakfast couldn't be better with yogurts, fresh fruit, waffles and a lovely staff. There's a nice walk to the river behind the property with chairs. Check in and check outs were accommodating and friendly. The hotel is in walking distance to stores and nice restaurants. Lovely Sedona!

Hotel located on north end of main drag (89a) through Sedona, lots of shops & restaurants within easy walking distance. Our room on 2nd floor had balcony with fabulous Mountain View. There are 3 pools & plenty of amenities too. The complimentary breakfast was much better than many others. Our room was clean & spacious with comfortable beds. Only problem is road construction project on 89a, long delays driving anywhere—project should be completed within few months.

We love this for many reasons. It is centrally located near shops and restaurants, easy to walk to shops and food spots. Parking on the main drag is tough when it gets busy so staying here provided us with free parking during our stay. If they are available get a room with a balcony and up front and personal view of the beautiful rock scenery from your room

There is construction clogging up the entrance and exit on this 2 way street, often stopping traffic for 15-25 minutes at a time, stand still. Made it impossible for us to plan any activities, no way to get places on time. The hotel itself is basic, the included breakfast is mediocre at best (powdered eggs... yuck). The best thing about this hotel is the beautiful creek behind it and the view of the red rocks. Money best spent elsewhere.

I was celebrating my 60th birthday and brought a friend for 3 nights. I picked the Creekside location due to proximity, fireplaces and jacuzzi tub as it had been a 10 hr drive. There were no instructions for the fireplace and I didn't want to singe my eyebrows, so I decided to wait on that, I then got ready to take a bath, set up and could not get the tub to seal and hold water. No matter what, I twisted I pushed and finally accepted no bath. Hopped in the shower to utilize hot water and there was no shower gel in the dispenser. Gave up decided to go to bed, put my clothes away and the dresser was missing a knob. I was now very upset with the accommodations and made a list to take to the front desk. In the morning my friend had used the extra bathroom and found soap scum and hair on the sink. It appeared the housekeeper had removed from the drains, but left it behind. I was helped at front desk provided list and front desk personnel were kind and would pass it along. Upon return I stopped at front desk to make sure things were taken care of. I met the manager Nicholas who took $100 off 2 nights and said to call right away if things were not taken care of. Well, I had to call because the tub still did not seal, and the knob was still missing. The unit had been recleaned and stocked. Nicholas came down did the same things I had with the tub drain and then finally had maintenance fix that and the drawer. This was an initial $1500 reservation for 3 nights. When checking out the manahthen Amanda I believe, split the last night with me. I still think that it was too much for the issues. I wish they had reimbursed more or offered a restay. The location is awesome by the creek, but in the end the facilities in the units are older and should be spot checked when cleaned to address the proper use of what you expect when you spend that much money.

The hotel was in a very nice location..cgeck in was fast and efficient...the rooms needed to be cleaned better...housekeeping opened our door twice while we were in the room...I couldnt get to the door quickly enough to answer it....the breakfast was excellent ...displayed nicely...delicious variety...would stay again

Amanda helped me get a reservation. She was so nice and even went out of her way to make sure my wife would have a great bday weekend. The view being creek side was amazing. Will definitely be back and would reccomend this place to everyone.

This is located on the edge of Uptown Sedona. Best feature. The room was clean, but there are deficiencies. The bathroom is tiny. Very tiny. The toilet was sized so three year old children could use it comfortably, but not for adults. I appreciate the eco shampoo/body wash/conditioner dispenser, but the dispensers don't dispense. We bought a bar of soap to use, and did get enough shampoo with about 10-15 pumps, but virtually no body wash. There is no eco dispenser at the sink, outside the toilet/shower. If you want to wash your hands, you try to get body wash out of the tiny shower, or just go to a store and buy a bar of soap. Only one small trash can in the room, and one in the bathroom (smaller). No recycling can. Refrigerator is not cold. Hot water is slow to come from the fixed (in one position) shower head. Slider to the balcony does not close without locking (if you go on the balcony, the door must stay open or you get locked out). On the plus side, remember, the location is very good.

I made a reservation far in advance for 3 nights with 48 hour cancellation. Grand Canyon lodging was sold out but I kept checking every day and was able to get a night. I called the BW to drop one night keeping the other 2. My rate for the two nights went up by almost $300. I didnt change it but called back two hours later to just pay what they wanted because we decided staying in the Grand Canyon was worth it. However, the price changed AGAIN and was even more expensive, almost $700 a night. It was explained to me that the rates are not guaranteed and change based on availability. This is an important detail that is not mentioned anywhere verbally or in writing when the reservation is made. Hope this helps someone else avoid this.

I stayed here with my wife for 2 nights for the Sedona half marathon back in the beginning of February. Our overall stay at this Best Western was just OK, and there are many areas of improvement necessary for this hotel. Staff: Overall staff were very friendly, and very welcoming. I had some issues with our room, and the front desk representative (male forgot his name) was very helpful in showing us some tricks to some of the issues we were having with the room. Room: The room and price of the room we received is the reason why this property is receiving an average rating (it would be POOR, but the staff were very helpful bringing this to average). We paid around $250 dollars for a King room with a view. The view didn't disappoint, and we had a great view of the Sedona Mountain Range behind the hotel. Unfortunately, the room we had (5th Floor by the elevators) had a TON of issues. The sliding glass door to the patio was broken, and I was unable to slide the glass door. In addition, we also had issues getting into our room the first night after dinner. Key Card wouldn't work. We mentioned these issues to the staff, and they offered to move us to a normal 2 Queen room which was a downgrade from the room we purchased. We declined the room downgrade, and the front desk representative came up to our room to show us some "tricks" to get around the issues. The first workaround to the front door was to move the handle up (instead of down) after entering the key card. OK, no big deal. The sliding glass door workaround was a bit more complex. The latch was broken, and to open the door, you literally had to push the door forward in order to move it. The front desk staff admitted the door was broken, and it needed to be fixed, but this was the workaround to having access to the patio. We were happy to be able to have access to the patio, but we also had issues with the sliding door being loose, and on our last night there were high winds, and we listened to the sliding glass door rattle all night. We tried to close the latch again so it was more secure, but we didn't have any luck, and we were stuck listening to the rattle of the door all night. In addition, the rooms at this Best Western are in a major need of an upgrade, and are starting to show age. I've stayed at quite a few Best Western Plus, and this room didn't meet the "Plus" standards. Price: $250 dollars a night for the above issues with our room, and an offer to down grade to a 2 queen room. I was pretty pissed about the issues with the room, and the staff not being able to offer an alternate. I understand this may have been out of the Staff control, and I wasn't going to make a fuss with the staff. However, the price of the room was ridiculous when presented with all these issues. Best Western Status & Points: One of the other reasons why I stayed at this property is because of my Platinum Status with Best Western. Typically this would entitle you to some additional perks, but I didn't get any perks at this hotel for my status. I also didn't request house keeping for the 2 nights of my stay to earn additional points, and it doesn't look like I earned any additional points on my statement. This is disappointing. Breakfast: A Breakfast is offered at this hotel, but I wouldn't spend the extra money to stay here for the free breakfast. It's your "basic" Best Western quality, and I wouldn't stay here because of it. Amenities: The hotel is located next to a time share property where you have access to pools and hot tubs. The hot tub was really nice to enjoy after the 1/2 marathon race. There is also a creek down behind the hotel. Overall the hotel grounds are pretty nice, and it's too bad the rooms don't match the grounds of the property. In conclusion, I would not recommend staying at this hotel. We were so disappointed with the price we paid for all the issues we encountered with our room. I was finding 4 star resorts in Sedona for the same price, and I feel confident if I stayed at a better property, we would have been more comfortable. This hotel is barley average.

Everything was as expected. Had a beautiful view out of the room. The 2 queen bed room was plenty roomy. Not the largest bathroom, but worked fine for 2 people. The location in Northtown was great. Walked everywhere for shopping and eating. There is access to the creek if you want to sit for a while. Enjoyed having breakfast provided, plenty of choices and good. I would return.

This hotel was sparkling clean, our creekside villa was spacious and luxurious, and the front desk staff were top notch. We woke up to the sound of the creek and the stunning Sedona red rocks. Can't think of single thing it lacked.

Stephanie answered the phone when I called in the morning for a same day reservation. She was welcoming, took her time for my questions and booked the room I needed at a great rate. Then when I checked in later that afternoon, Matthew was very courteous and informative. He and the manager (whom I didn't get their name) were extremely accommodating on something that could have been a big issue, and this helped make my stay very relaxing. I loved my room, Sandra kept it very clean. The dog area was spotless and huge!! After staying at various hotels/motels across the country with my dog, I have been less than impressed in that area, but WOW! My dog (and I) had a great time running around with the mountain views in the very clean dog area. Thank you very much for helping my weekend getaway be incredibly comfortable and feel like a home away from home.

We spent 2 nights at the Best Western in Sedona, Arizona. This hotel is right at the north end of all the shops of Sedona and has a beautiful view of the Red Rock. Our room was a King with balcony and fireplace, a nice room that was in the north building which was peaceful. The bed and pillows both were very comfortable, the bathroom had a deep tub/shower combination. All in all it was a very nice room and check in was smooth with a very helpful staff. Only down side would be house keeping seemed a little lack...especially in the floors. There was a dead spider about the size of a fifty cent piece in the main floor area and visible dirt in areas. For the price this was something that we felt shouldn't happen...

This Best Western is located in walking distance to down town Sedona shopping, restaurants & Pink Jeep tours. The staff is friendly and helpful. My room was clean and smelled clean. The balcony view of the red Rock canyon was a bonus to wake up to & enjoy a morning coffee & just relax for a moment.

The hotel was perfectly located to the main downtown area with all the shops and restaurants. We arrived, parked the car and didn't get back in the car until we were ready to leave. Everything was easily accessible. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the rooms on the back side had magnificent views or the red rock mountain range.

We stayed two nights with my family of four in one of the luxury creekside villas. The stay was just beautiful with two gas log fireplaces and coloured light spa bath. The villa was very clean when we arrived and the outside surroundings were beautiful. Peaceful and relaxing for our winter time visit.

Amazing site, no mediocre views. The service was top notch . Only gave 4 stars due to poor lighting by the outside stairs which were only way to navigate the different levels of the hotel. Might be a issue with older folks or unsteady footing.

Stayed at the Arroyo Roble Hotel and Creekside Villas during a stay in Sedona. The room was great and views from balcony-wow!! Did some great sightseeing too in area. Also staff at hotel very helpful. Looking forward to next visit.

Room on second floor and was given a luggage cart only to find no elevator. Carried luggage up stairway that was dark due to the lights were inoperative. Reported this to front desk and they said it would be repaired. NO

The hotel is located convenient to many shops and walking areas. The view of the red rocks from the room was spectacular! The room was average and not worth the elevated price (save for the view). The hotel was fine but not equal to many other hotels that I have stay in that are in the same price range. Go for the view.

Great Hotel. Amenities are amazing for the price in Sedona. Indoor/outdoor hot tubs and pools, sauna. free billiards, to name a few. If you're creekside, it's like you're in another world from the bustle of town. Can't say enough about Eric and the rest of the staff. Super friendly. Good breakfast too. Don't pass this place up.

They have a amazing staff that definitely go out of their way to make you relax and enjoy your stay. we were upgraded when we experienced a room issue. Breakfast was really good every morning with some different items daily.

We live in Sedona and wanted to experience what visitors enjoy at a luxury resort. This one checked all my boxes, fabulous all the way around. One HUGE advantage is the Oak Creek frontage that they own, your own private creek to enjoy on your vacation.

Fabulous hotel with incredible views, comfortable beds, lots of space, fireplace in our room, excellent service, friendly staff, free breakfast, parking and EXTREMELY convenient right in downtown Sedona. We parked our car at the hotel and walked around all the shops and out to eat. You also can walk down to the creek and the views are stunning!! We would HIGHLY recommend this hotel and will stay again soon:).

Aside from the location, the biggest plus points of my stay are the staff. Thank you Eric, Matthew, Donna, Justin and the staff at breakfast! They helped me with every query and issue with utmost professionalism and warmth. When Justin and Eric saw me struggling with my several bags during check-in and check-out, they kindly offered to help. Both Donna and Eric assisted when I struggled to make phone calls. Matthew helped with dining options. And Justin, I would like to say that your jolly "Welcome back!" each time I stepped back into the lobby really made a difference! I also appreciated the water fountain with sweet water from Oak Creek. Although the rooms are dated and not as clean as I expected, this review will still receive an Excellent score because of all of you! Please keep up the good work!

We just spent one night at this property and in general found it to be in exvcellant condition for an older property. We remember when it was built. Our room was very clean and modern to a point. Only a couple of negatives, for us. The bathroom was very small and outdated. The toilet was so low to the floor it was difficult for us 80+-year-olds to get down and up on it. A handhold would be helpful if one can find room. No safety handholds in the shower so we did not bother for one night. Also, having to walk a fair distance to the breakfast room in 28-degree weather along with all corridors being open to the weather was somewhat uncomfortable. If you are younger, I would definitely recommend this property. However, if you are older like us, I would verify the toilet situation first and/or find another hotel in Sedona.

Our biggest priority is the Eastward facing views from the private balcony. We try to visit a couple of times per year. Our most recent (previous) visit included an unpleasant experience at a different hotel where we'd stayed 4 or 5 times before. So the Best Western Plus (Arroyo Roble Hotel) was tried this past weekend. We have a new favorite choice in Sedona !

Clean room with spectacular red rock views. Creek access with swing, chairs, Bbq grills. Comfortable bed. A bit dated but excellent location in uptown Sedona. Close to several hiking trails and Red Rock State Park.

The week before Thanksgiving, we spent a week in Sedona. The folks at Best Western Plus Arroyo treated us so well. Front desk personnel were always at our bid and call. The breakfast, included in the price of the room, was just outstanding. Parking the car was quite an adventure. An up hill climb unless we were fortunate to get one of the upper level spaces. That didn't happen too often. Would suggest management consider preferred parking for their age 80 plus guests who don't require handicap parking spots. Plenty of those are available. Hotel room was large & clean, it also had a patio overlooking the beautiful views of the red rock mountains. The breakfast room was very clean & well stocked with plenty of hot foods. I would definetely stay here again.

Our experience was very positive from check in to check out. We were greeted by a nice young man at the front desk who was very helpful and polite. Our room was on the fifth floor with a private balcony and a view of the red rocks, overlooking the pool. Although this hotel does offer creek side villas, that would be a waste since you cannot see the beautiful mountain from the villas. Guests also have use of the club house which has a fitness room, outdoor and indoor pools and hot tubs, tennis, basketball courts, raquet ball, and sitting areas if you need to get away from the hotel. The hotel itself is within walkable distance to shops and restaurants. The room itself has a Keurig coffee maker, microwave, and mini refrigerator. The bed was so comfortable as well as the pillows. Yes, this hotel was built in 1983, so it is not "modern", yet it offers many other amenities which should not be overlooked.

Everything about our 5 days here was awesome. Nice clean room. Great service at front desk. The lodge itself is very rustic and cozy. Loved the fireplace in the lobby with the leather furniture. Sat and played cards and had wine while it snowed outside. The breakfast was the best we have had at any of the hotels we have ever stayed at. Omelette, waffle, bacon or sausage, cereal, yogurt and fruit but lots of different toppings like salsa and pico de gallo, etc. It is also located near all of the galleries and shops. We will definitely stay here next year when we go back.

We had booked a suite with Red Rock View. The room looked nothing like in the website picture. The furniture was old and worn, the bathroom area was very dirty. There was so much dust on top of the safe, a dead bug was laying on the bathroom floor, the outside of the trash can was covered with dirt,....... When we went to have breakfast, the young female waitress only acknowledged my husband. The same thing happened the next day. We decided that for $350+ a night, we did not have to put up with this. We packed our bags, checked out and booked a room at the Hyatt and truly enjoy the rest of our stay in Sedona. I forgot to mention that the mattress was hard as a rock!

We loved our suite on the creek. Good restaurants and shopping within walking distance and a beautiful, scenic place. Looking forward to coming back and staying longer. Donna at the front desk was helpful in booking our Pink Jeep tour when we arrived. Thanks for a memorable stay!

Stayed a few nights here and we loved our location. Didn't need the car much. Tour of red rock mountains picked up at the hotel. So many restaurants...art galleries..and much to see within few blocks. At the end of my day, that hot tub was great too! All this with free breakfast was wonderful

If you are looking for a great location with great views, this is your place. Our 3rd floor room faced the red rocks and we never got tired of sitting on our terrace and looking out. The creek runs right on the property and may be one of my favorite spots in Sedona.

We loved the location but I felt misinformed on the price and prepayment incentive, be sure you check follow up emails for price changes. Dining staff very helpful, others disinterested. View of hills from room lovely, major construction going on below, so noisy from about 6:30.... crazy time!

Second stay here. Thought all was redone and property changed hands. But still an amazing place and had not issue with pricing until I found out and we were present to learn it was an alleged sister property. My quote worth the money spent sadly not pleased! Staff and villa was great but expected more due to price and previous expedition and more importantly anticipation of a new hotel brand. May return with all resort based upon pricing.

I toggled back and forth on spending the $348.00 a night for this hotel, but it was worth it to be in the central heart of Sedona. That said, selecting a patio room is preferable. Otherwise a balcony is confined. The room was fine, but not really that clean, the rooms are old, the pool in November not even cleaned. But made the best of the amenties like walking right out onto the main tourist drag and being in the Sedona experience. The supposed free breakfast is like all the other free breakfast. Pass. What they don't tell you is the water is not even potable. And all the vending machines sold out of water. Arrive with supplies. Note: In November outdoor pools are NOT heated.

The hotel has beautiful views of the Red Rocks and is equipped with all the amenities you need. The breakfast is much more than continental and provides you so many choices. We always left full and happy. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Lastly, the location is so conveniently situated to provide many opportunities for lunch and dinner options within a quick walk.

We stayed in one of their Signature Suites...beautiful view of the mountains. Steps away from all the shops and restaurants, perfect location. Will definitely stay again Friendly staff from check-in to check-out.

We greatly enjoyed our recent stay at this hotel. Eric at check in was wonderful, answered all of our questions. the room we had was #107, first floor with 2 queens. The room was fine, the beds comfortable. Lovely view and having the first level patio was very nice. We utilized the club house to play pool, which was fun. We also walked down to the Creek, and this area is lovely. We enjoyed a very good breakfast in the morning. The women working at breakfast were wonderful. Overall a very good stay, I recommend this hotel.

I have a very different review from previous reviewer. Our room is on 5th floor, and while not luxurious, it is very comfortable. Bed is comfy, breakfast is more than adequate, and convenient to all the shops. Room is very clean and nice. Only cons: sliding door to balcony sticks a little, and the soaps and lotions are all citrus, which is not appealing. Otherwise, unless you're looking for the Ritz, this place is just fine.

I usually don't post hotel reviews, but my experience there was so bad I had to leave a review. We were in Sedona for a 10 vacation, so we decided to stay in the Uptown Sedona and chose to stay at the Best Western Plus Arroyo Roble Hotel & Creekside Villas. I reserved a Signature Room (Room 114), which sounds like an excellent choice, but it was nothing like the picture on the internet. Although the view from our room was great, everything else was pretty disappointing. The hotel room was a cave, extremely low ceiling, with a lovely yellow-orange from the 1970s which is probably the last time it was updated. This was not the worst of it, the room had a foul/offensive odor, and was not cleaned well, socks were almost black after walking around on the carpet, hair in the shower, that was not ours, and dust cover every surface. The other amenities we found were a few dead pest (I have pictures to prove it). In short, the room was a cave. We ate breakfast 2 mornings, first morning eggs were extremely watery. Second morning eggs were better but the female attendance basically ignored my wife, as if she was not even there. They would address me, but not her. This made us not want to go back to restaurant the rest of our stay. Overall, for $339+ per night, we expected better. This hotel severely needs cleaning, updating, and an overall remodeling. The moral of the story, we lasted 3 nights out of 10, promptly move to the Hyatt Residence Club Sedona, Pinon Pointe. We did not have the view from our hotel room, but it was clean, comfortable, and pest free. This was our first and last time staying at Best Western Plus Arroyo Roble. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Very nice view (request a high floor). Breakfast was very good (and free). Check-in staff was very courteous and prompt. Excellent location. There was a slight smell of disinfectant in the room that annoyed others in our party, but it wasn't that big of a deal to me; better clean than the alternative. Bed was very comfortable.

We spent 5 nights at the BW Arroyo Roble hotel. We never stay in chain hotels....but we selected this hotel for several reason and I'm so glad we did. The location was excellent ...we had a 4th floor balcony with rock views plus we enjoyed our daily walks thru the property down to Oak Creek and appreciated the quiet green space to counter the busier city space...just lovely!. It was great to have free parking, and we walked to many places and restaurants without even using the car. The room was spacious, clean, basic amenities. The breakfast room was also spacious, and kept very clean and filled by a dedicated and pleasant staff. We appreciated the 3 hr window, 7-10, so we could still have breakfast after returning from a sunrise walk....not often the case in a B&B. The online reservation system, the online precheck-in, the front desk staff, am and pm, were all great. We would definitely stay here again when we return to beautiful Sedona.

Excellent breakfasts and very friendly and helpful staff. View is worth paying the extra charge, even if the hotel is a bit pricy. Overall, a good deal and I would recommend it nightly. The Uptown area is a bit commercial, but that's what your car is for - get out and hike, find good restaurants.

The Arroyo Roble Creekside Villas are located in “uptown” Sedona very close to many restaurants and shopping. A great spot within walking distance to most places however you have to negotiate a very steep hill to get there. That steep hill is also what stands between you and the free breakfast every morning. Not a big issue for those who have not yet reach retirement age, however we drove to breakfast each morning. On the subject of breakfast, most reviews I read before booking this resort raved about the breakfast. The serving room was very clean and the associates kept everything stocked and were clearing tables as fast as the guests were finishing their morning meal. The hot items consisted of sausage, scrambled eggs, oat meal and a waffle maker. By the fourth morning of the same selection I inquired if they always served the same breakfast meat and the attendant told us they had bacon and ham earlier but ran out. I don't set my alarm when I'm on vacation just to get to breakfast before they run out of items. The villa is very nice. As the reviews mentioned the décor is somewhat dated however the unit is well maintained and very clean which is more important to me when I'm staying somewhere for a week. The kitchen is well equipped and the TV's are newer models with a nice entertainment system in the living room. Our unit had the bedrooms on the second floor each with their own bathrooms and a half bath on the ground level. One person in our party has difficulty with stairs and when we inquired if the ground level bathroom had a shower we were told it did not but there was a handicap accessible shower in the pool area.(?) If climbing stairs is a challenge for someone is making the hike to the pool any easier? There are balconies off the living room and each bedroom but we were disappointed that none of them had views of the spectacular red rock mountains. For the last 9 months I've been dreaming of sipping my morning coffee on the balcony admiring those majestic red rock canyons. The trees are nice but not why I came to Sedona. We are very familiar with staying in properties affiliated with our timeshare and understand we only get housekeeping service which consist of “trash & towels” once sometimes twice during the week. We received fresh towels once and took out our own trash. We will always return to beautiful Sedona, just not sure we'll be returning to the Arroyo Roble Creekside Villas.

We stayed at Best Western in Sedona and Scottsdale and we very pleased with their accomodations. I know people say I would rather stay at a Hilton or Marriott, but I can tell you that these two locations were wonderfully placed and had great amenities and breakfast. Sedona was in downtown Sedona (walk to stores and restaurants) and had a beautiful view of one of the montain ranges. Scottsdale was within walking distance to old town Scottsdale and had a view of Camelback Mountain. The accomodations were really nice and the free breakfast was expansive and delicious.

Great location right in Uptown Sedona. Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants and since it's at the end of the shopping, easy access to the road. The service was awesome. My friend had an issue with the vending machine and they gave her two water bottles and a "sorry for your inconvenience" bag.l, which was unexpected. Would definitely stay again, but pay a bit more for the view of the red rocks.

We booked our stay through AAA, trusting and hoping that our hotel would be within walking distance of restaurants and attractions. Not only is this hotel nicely placed, it includes amenities that most other hotels can't offer because of its affiliation with the Arroyo Roble Creekside Villas. Our room as spacious with a great mountain view and we took advantage of the steam room, pools and spas at the Villa. Each day and evening we walked along the charming main drag, visiting shops and retaurants. There's ample parking and it's an easy (and sometimes beautifully breathtaking) ride to nearby attractions. A very nice breakfast is included and it was a pleasure to meet Sarah, a hotel employee who was extremely helpful throughout our stay, whether at the front desk or in the dining area at breakfast. She is a true jack of all trades at the hotel.

We were two older women (school chums) spending 12 days in Sedona. This hotel was a wonderful location for us. Very good breakfast each morning with inside or patio tables; attended. We walked one to three blocks each evening for dinner and- with a rental car- explored the further reaches by day. Eric and Justin on the front desk were friendly, professional and easy-going. Easy parking. Red-Rock view room (107) was perfect. Hoping to return in 2020. The entire grounds are tidy and well-kempt; the whole hotel is quiet and peaceful. Pool is quiet and lovely. Missing this place...

Nothing but great things to say about this hotel. From the welcoming and helpful staff (especially guy at front desk and girl who worked the breakfast room) to the room and the facilities...just about perfect. Not what I would expect from a Best Western. Even the quick breakfast buffet was very good, especially the waffles and fresh cut fruit. Much better than all the other chains offer. The room was large with a great bathroom and beautiful view of the red rocks. The hotel is on the strip, which is convenient, but also allows you to escape the touristy feel of Sedona. There are two beautiful pools, a sauna and steam room and a game room with ping pong table and pool table. The rooms along the creek are very peaceful and serene. There is also a laundry room, which we did take advantage of. Would definitely stay here again. Very impressed and it changed my opinion of Best Western.

I surprised my mom w/a girls week in Arizona and chose this hotel based on the scenery and location. When we arrived she was amazed and it was better than I had expected. The views are unbeatable and it's literally behind the main strip of downtown Sedona so you can leave your hotel and walk to all of the shops and restaurants. The staff was helpful and friendly, the room was clean and large and the views were perfect! We had room 101 on the first floor which was great because the pool was right in front of us so we could jump in after hiking all day. The grounds are full of plants and trees, there are two pools, a rec center with a hot tub and a creek nearby. Breakfast had a good variety and there was coffee available in the lobby at all times. I would stay here again and suggest it to family and friends.

We LOVED our stay at this Best Western!! What a great property. Staff was super. Room had a fantastic view. We enjoyed dinner and drinks on the balcony, and loved the included daily breakfast. Great location too, just far enough away from the cheesy tourist shops yet close to all the best scenic trails. ALSO - Loved the quiet and scenic creekside seating areas. We did not want to leave this place!

Room was comfortable and spacious and the decor was great. The view from our 5th floor room was spectacular of the red rocks. Pool was pleasant. Hotel was in great proximity to all restaurants and shopping and was easy walking to all.

All the rooms open onto a corridor that is open air on both ends and the middle, strange setup. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Though there is an elevator for the several floors of the hotel, the building and grounds are not very accessible. If you have mobility issues, this hotel is not for you. The building is set down the hill from the street, down a steep driveway or two flights of steps if you are walking. The pool area is down several flights of external stairs, making it useless to me with a bad hip. The regular parking is at the very bottom of the hill. You have to traverse several flights of stairs to get from your car to inside the building, or walk up a steep street. Breakfast is served in a building across the parking lot. Everyone was complaining about the scrambled eggs being too runny and raw for the days we were there. The bacon was thick slice but was cold, despite being in a heated buffet. Same for the ham and pork sausage. The sliced fruit okay. Pastries were dry, like days old. The coffee was okay; orange juice was good; they only had 2% and skim milk, which tastes like water. The breakfast was a disappointment. Go down the block and find a much better breakfast at any of the other restaurants on the street. There are better choices in Sedona. The views from the back of the building are wonderful, we sat and stared at the mountains till the sun set. Then watched the full moon rise over the peaks.

We reserved a balcony hotel room overlooking the grand views of the beautiful mountains of Sedona. Large room with microwave, fridge. The king bed was very comfy and firm. Be careful not to shut the balcony door while sitting outside, it locks..staff was called to unlock it..it's a child safety door, so they say??? We visited Sept 16, 17th and we were awakened by 5:30 a.m. with construction trucks each a.m. Not relaxing if you want to sleep longer.

Stayed for a long weekend to enjoy downtown Sedona, and Oak Creek. Down the hill from the main hotel is the perfect creek access. I recommend you drive and park closer to the creek, because the walk back up can be tough. The creek has some deeper areas to jump, and swim. The area feels very secluded and removed from the busy city. There are some rocky areas, but made it fun to climb through. We stayed in the main building, with a view, and it did not disappoint. We were able to just park on the hotel property and walk only a few minutes to get to shops and restaurants. The room was very clean, wasn't large but had what we needed. You are able to enjoy the club house with your hotel information. There is an indoor pool that extends outside, and an indoor hot tub. A game room with fun things to do, a steam room and sauna. The property by the creek is beautiful. Pretty sure this is where fairies live.. There are swings to enjoy. bbq area, lawn area with seating and a small playground. Creek access near the playground but not swim-able, however a great place to hike around and enjoy the beautiful trees. They offer breakfast, and although it wasnt great - we enjoyed a muffin and coffee while watching the sun come over the mountain. In the evening the parking became slim as everyone was downtown - so park before dinner rush!

This review is way overdue as we were in Sedona Nov 2018, but I can't ever forget that beautiful majestic place. Staying at Best Western Plus Arroyo was perfect!! Clean, great service, nice breakfast offering, and ideal location just walking distance to downtown; shops; restaurants. The BEST part is the spectacular views of the red rocks. So wonderful waking up to that view... so tranquil. Loved our stay. Will come again.

The hotel is very nice, amazing views, and very clean. Plenty of parking. Very nice pool area. Quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was lousy. It was served from 7 to 10 a.m. I went at 8:30 a.m. and most of the food was gone. I have to request everything. The frittata was disgusting, the blueberry muffins just out of the refrigerator, and they did not have spray for making the waffles so they got stuck to the waffle maker. It is an expensive hotel and the breakfast should be much better in quality and variety. Sarah is very nice, all the time cleaning and trying her best to make people feel comfortable. By the way, I have to wait almost 20 minutes for the nasty frittata because the kitchen guy was in the bathroom. Really?

Stayed for 3 nights with a room and balcony on the 3rd floor which had great views of the red rocks, Sedona is such a lovely place. One early evening the in room safe would not open, guy on desk could not open,called his manager who came back to work to try,but couldn't so called maintenance who came a few hours later, however the manager Nicolas arranged and paid for our evening meal as all of our money and credit cards where in their, fantastic service and thank you. Room was a good size and always clean, likewise the pool area. Wasn't so keen on breakfast but it was fresh and clean. Do not hesitate to stay here as it's a the beginning of the town with lots of Choi to eat and shop.

First time at this hotel and was pleasantly surprised....We had a suite which was only on the second floor but we still had a decent view of the mountains. Erik was very helpful with checking in booking excursions, directions and where to eat. This Best WEstern does provide a decent breakfast, my only complaint would be for the early morning excursions the cafe doesn't open until 7 am, and it was hard to find somewhere to eat. Since they book the excursions, they should provide something so you can eat prior to leaving. The rooms were neat, not brand new, but clean...housekeeping is available, but you do need to leave specific instructions, such as one day she didn't leave toilet paper we only had 1/2 of roll left, we did call the front desk to get another roll, and the gentleman who answered was extremely rude and refused to bring us another roll, we were told to call back when we ran out....We did run out in the middle of the night and used tissues, and we complained at the front desk, the night manager was very nice couldn't apologize enought to us and gave us a small credit for our inconvenience. I am not going to ding this place for one lazy employee since the problem was taken care of and hopefully the employee was sent to training 101 how to deal with guests....The next day we also told the housekeeper to leave enough toilet paper....Other than that, we did enjoy our stay, the hotel is locate in the heart of the downtown, many stores, restaurants and events are in walking distance. We even walked to our tours with Arizona Safari Tours one block away (which we would highly recommend over the pink place).....Pools are nice again clean, towels are available, you can walk to the creek, but it is difficult to get to...they offer a variety of rooms....Shout out to Erik and the lovely night manager who made out trip truly an anniversary to remember!

Clean, friendly staff, great views, close to town and on the river. What more could we want?? The breakfast is great and view is amazing! Plenary of parking and amenities including two pools a fitness room and game room!

We stay at Best Westerns when we road trip with our children. This was an extraordinary experience that encompassed the most wonderful of service, a delightful breakfast, location, views, and amenities galore. In addition, we booked a Pink Jeep Tour and it picked us up at the hotel. We were within walking distance to the main part of Sedona that allowed us to walk to a few restaurants, gelato, and shopping. The price was so good for all that you received in Sedona! Highly Highly recommend.

We had a three day visit to Sedona. Our room was on the top floor where we saw the beautiful and majestic mountains in Sedona. Wow! Unfortunately, our room had a very bad smell and after a few hours our eyes were watering and our noses stuffed up. Maybe it was the AC or the carpet, but it made staying in the room unpleasant. We didn't mention it to the front desk because we loved the views and didn't want to be moved to another room. The breakfast in the mornings were excellent and deliciously prepared. Well done.

It's all about the view. The hotel would be average if it wasn't for the spectacular red rocks behind it. Great for sunrise and sunset photos. Pool was nice and breakfast was ok. Nothing special. The staff was friendly and helpful. The property is spacious so the pool and exercise room are set away from the hotel. There is also a little stream at the back of the hotel which was nice to visit. I loved that we could leave our car in the car park and explore the town. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. You can drive out of the town to the famous Chapel of the Holy Cross. Worth a visit and about ten minutes drive.

This is the last hotel on the way out of Sedona at the north end, but all of uptown Sedona is in easy walking distance. Parking was never a problem when we ventured out to trailheads and to other parts of the town. The property includes shaded frontage on Oak Creek where there are tables, chairs and grills, a great spot for a picnic lunch. Convenient location, views, excellent breakfast buffet, and the high caliber of the staff earn this property its high ratings here. It's a dated facility showing its age, modestly furnished, and our room had a strong unappealing musty odor I had to mask with a scented spray. Our otherwise grand view of the nearby rock formations was marred by parked heavy construction equipment at the foot of the property. Still, it is a bargain by Sedona standards and, all things considered, a satisfactory base for exploring the Sedona area.

Sedona is other worldly beautiful, staying here made it easy to enjoy it, in the evening our family loved the pool, daytime we were in the creek when we weren't out and about in Sedona. Staff was very helpful, nice place for fair prices considering how much they provide.

There is a creek near their villas which is less than a 2 minute drive or you can walk there in about 5 minutes. The creek is very private and clear. Since it is right in Uptown Sedona, the shops are conveniently located. Between the creeks, pools, game room and shops, you do not need to drive the entire time you are there. The location and amenities are extremely convenient and the entire staff is very welcoming and friendly. We can't wait to go back!

Arrived at Sedona, we had a room with privacy and an amazing view of the majectic Red mountains. Very upscale hotel. Front desk attendens were friendly and hepful. Perfect location near the shop in Sedona. The choice of three pools was awesome! After a busy day of shopping, touring, eating, the pool and jaquzzi were perfect, Great place for couples of familis.

The cottage was off on its own with it's own access road, which also apparently served as a storage ground for some dump trucks. So while you had a beautiful view of the red rocks while looking up, it was marred by two or three dump trucks that were being stored there. Couldn't get a good picture outside the door due to that fact. The property also had a nice little wicker set on the front porch, however, the pads were worn and torn and probably hadn't been tended to in a while. Upon first entering, there was a stale smell in the air, as if the cottage had not been used in a while and management probably ran in to blast the A/C. Thankfully, that dissipated after a few hours. The king bedroom was a very nice size with a TV, dresser, end tables, a upholstered chair, and double closet which housed a safe. However, it was not very large and could not fit a 13" laptop. The queen bedroom was adequately sized with two end tables only and contained a small closet. The main living area consisted of a pull out sofa, a club chair with ottoman and another upholstered chair, along with several tables. There was also a dining set with four chairs off to the left. This area also had a bar sink, a small microwave and a full sized coffee pot. The bathroom had a jetted tub/shower combination with an odd tub faucet that was difficult to turn. The shampoo/conditioner/bodywash dispenser attached to the tub wall contained no name brands and hardly lathered. On the plus side, the beds were very comfortable, as were the pillows. The breakfast options were very good and changed each day. The one staple was the make your own waffle maker. The location was right at the edge of the main street and was probably a short walk to town. Front desk was polite and pleasant. While it was a comfortable cottage, some things could be changed to make it better.

We drove down at night so we did not see anything. We opened our shades in the morning and we were blown away with the view. Great value and extremely clean. Fantastic breakfasts. Everyone is very friendly. Great location for village walking and shopping. We will return again at some point.

With so many hotels in the area I would choose another. I was truly looking forward to my stay here. I wouldn't say they were much cheaper even though they are next to very expensive hotels and the decor was dated. We didn't mind because the location was beautiful however my opinion completely changed the moment we walked into the building. There was one person working the front desk. She was on a call and didn't even greet us with a look. She spent ten minutes being horrifically rude to someone on the phone and then was terribly rude to us. We then decided to take our business elsewhere. The hotel is in a great location but the staff (obviously my interaction was just with this one gal) was rude. I would (and did) pay a little more and went elsewhere.

We stayed one night here and I wish we could have stayed longer. The turn for the parking lots is easy to miss with all of the construction. There are three lots behind the property descending a hill. So there are a lot of stairs to get back up to the hotel and the elevator. We were assisted by Matthew who drove a golf cart down to our car and transported us and our luggage back up to the lobby. He was a great first person to meet at this establishment. He was extremely friendly and helpful with meeting all of our requests and answering all of our questions. It was nice to have two luggage racks in the room and we enjoyed the small balcony attached to our room. It was prominently displayed that the balcony doors were self locking so we were afraid we would lock ourselves out but we didn't! The beds were comfortable and the only thing we found lacking was a bar of soap for the sink, there was a dispenser in the shower but nothing at the sink. We were given a breakfast to go because we were getting up before dawn for a Hot Air Balloon ride and didn't know the time we would be returning. There was a pool that looked nice but we didn't have enough time to use it. The hotel looked to be within walking distance of the bustling downtown and I felt the staff really went out of their way to be helpful and make our stay an enjoyable one. I would definitely stay here again when I visit Sedona.

Amazing spot with the best views!! Can not go wrong for the price! We really enjoyed our stay! We have stayed at many high end hotels in Sedona and this hotel by far had the best view! If you are looking for a less expensive hotel this is the spot!

Located right in the heart of town with beautiful views. Front desk went above and beyond with check in. The property is quiet and the rooms are very clean. The breakfast was far better than most hotel chains in this class. I think the cost is in line with or better than most of their competition. Highly Recommend.

Our room 401 with a private balcony of the red rocks was awesome. The AC works fine with the wall control. Not enough lighting in the room as you can't keep the drapes open as it's needed to keep the sun and heat out.

This property is located in downtown Sedona close to sites, shopping, and restaurants. Much is walkable. Professional and courteous staff. Gorgeous views of the landscapes. We would definitely stay there again.

Staying here put us right in the middle of all that is downtown Sedona... plus, our balcony view of the Red Rock was amazing. The outdoor pool also offered spectacular views of the Red Rock. Could not have asked for a better breakfast offering, either. We would DEFINITELY stay here, if we ever revisit Sedona.

This hotel is a moderate hotel that is very well located in uptown near many shops and cafes. The rooms are modest with comfortable beds. We had a premium room in the main building with an awesome view. The bathroom is on the lower end of moderate. There are no bathroom amenities such as shower caps, bar bath soap, etc. There are shower gel, shampoo, conditioner containers on the wall which we had to request to be filled. The front desk was as helpful as can be (considering what they had and didn't have to work with- concerning amenities). There is no bottled water provided in the room, must pay $1.75 at the desk. The pool is adequate and it too has a great view. The breakfast buffet was a pretty standard full buffet with good variety. There are no paper or Styrofoam coffee cups to take coffee from the place. All in all we were comfortable and safe and in a great central place to explore Sedona.

LOCATION- This hotel is walking distance to restaurants & shops. FREE PARKING ROOMS- The rooms were a great size. The sink is located outside of the bathroom. Our mirror in the bedroom was FILTHY. Beds were comfy. INCLUDED BREAKFAST- If your option includes breakfast it is very basic don't expect much. Breakfast felt very rushed. Employees started putting up chairs and food away as people were still eating. The hotel should consistently provide fresh breakfast up until 10am when it ends and not slack off the last hour. If you go the last hour your just getting the scraps and bottom of the trays if any food is actually left over. POOl- Pool isn't as big as I expected but, got some pretty cool pictures at the pool with the beautiful backdrop!

Nice grounds and amenities great location. Access to oak creek a surprise bonus! Breakfast had a nice selection. Room as expected - staff friendly. Would stay there again. Good value. Wonderful views.

Overall a pretty nice hotel. The rooms were almost clean (minus the expired bottle of pills we found behind the sofa), and the location to several of the tourist areas is fantastic. As a guest you also have access to the clubhouse behind the hotel, which unfortunately we didn't get to use much (our own lack of time). We did use the pool, but that was about it. The other amenities like the racquetball courts, ping pong, pool, and game room would have been neat. The breakfast could have used some variety (meaning they serve the same eggs with a side of sausage every morning) - and it wasn't bad but wasn't great either. It does the job if you're fine with a waffle, muffin, and dry cereal. I say this because the eggs and sausage just didn't taste quite right, the milk for the cereal was watered down, and the fruit was near expiration. However, it was sufficient to get the day going and the dining area was spacious. The coffee and juice selection was good. My favorite part of the hotel was the amazing view from our balcony. If you've been to Sedona you know how fantastic the mountain views are, and the views you get from the back of your room do not disappoint!

We recently stayed 6 nights at the Best Western Plus Arroyo in Sedona. It is located very conveniently in the shopping/dining area of Sedona which was the perfect location for our family. We easily walked to restaurants and shops yet the views from our patio room were stunningly beautiful with mountain views!!! Best of both worlds!!! There are swings/chairs next to the creek in the back of the property which is very relaxing and available for guests to enjoy. The front desk/housekeeping staff were very attentive, kind and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was fresh and tasty and had not only cereal and pastries but potatoes, eggs, bacon or sausage, fruit, etc. The staff in the breakfast room were efficient and we were epecially impressed by a young man (teenager) who was very busy keeping the dining area clean and always greeted us with a smile. Our room (2 beds) was clean, comfortable and spacious enough for a cot for our son. Parking was ample and the pool was clean and inviting. We used the guest laundry once which was tidy and convenient. Overall, our stay was very pleasant and we would definitely recommend it to others.

Wifi was not very good. Bed for me was too soft as and pillows too flat. Overall was nice. Staff was friendly. The view was beautiful. I think the price was too high but given the location I get it. Loved walking down to the creek and listening to the water hitting the rocks. I will give it another try next year but will take advantage of the amenities more.

We stayed here for 4 nights in early June. The location is perfect for walking through the old downtown area. There is an abundance of restaurants and bars located here. The desk manager checked us in, and he was very courteous, helpful, and professional. We stayed creekside at a villa, and thoroughly enjoyed our accommodations. The breakfast was an easy drive up the hill, and had many offerings. The room was kept clean, and the food was plentiful. Really enjoyed the fresh fruit! Everyone we encountered was very helpful. We would like to make a shoutout to Matt who even called us to make sure our room and stay were up to par. We really enjoyed the master bath in the villa...it was like being in a spa. We would highly recommend this property and when we return to beautiful Sedona, this will be our home away from home. Wonderful memories from a terrific stay!

We booked the Best Western not knowing what to expect. When we arrived, we were thrilled to see that we had a fabulous room with an amazing view of the red rock cliffs of Sedona. It is one of the best rooms we have every had including a roomy balcony, comfortable bed, and the view couldn't be matched!

We just returned from staying at this Best Western and we were very happy! Great location as walking distance to the downtown. Room was clean and nice deck that faced the mountains which we used quite abit. The breakfast was fresh with a pretty good selection of fruit and food. We were satisfied and would recommend and stay here in the future!

This is a great place to unwind, there is plenty of parking. The room was clean and comfortable. The room was very quiet and the views of the Red Rock Mountains were spectacular to say the least. We will definitely stay at this property again!! Thanks!!

I know people seem to love this hotel and I really wanted to. The view was amazing! The prices weren't cheap because of that. However, the property suffers from a lack of care in the rooms. Our screen to the balcony with the amazing view was broken and the sliding glass door both warned you it would lock behind you if you closed it (to keep out the bugs since the screen was broken) and was fortunately unable to lock. The bathroom was dim, had a weak fan, and the amenities in the shower were almost unusable. You had to pump them vigorously just to get enough shampoo or body wash to create a lather. And the soaps were tiny, requiring a repeat trip to the desk on a two night stay. By the way, the lobby coffee is some sort of instant and the hot breakfast buffet was not hot. I'd say you get what you pay for, but at over $300 a night including taxes it didn't feel like it.

We stayed for two nights the second week of June. Our friend had chosen the hotel, and we were pleasantly surprised by both the location and the view! You can walk to all of the shops and restaurants in Uptown Sedona easily. The room had a large balcony with chairs and an incredible view of the mountains. We also overlooked the pool. It was fun getting up early to see the sunrise. The Oak Creek can also be accessed by walking downhill to the villas. There are relaxing chairs and a swing overlooking the creek. I liked that the sink was outside of the bathroom so that people could get ready while someone was in the shower, although for sanitary purposes, it would be nice to have a sink inside the bathroom, too. Breakfast is included and was delicious. The service was super friendly, and you can't beat the homemade salsas! My only complaint is that the parking lot is steep and had a lot of blind spots. The hotel should add some blind spot mirror so everybody can see around the corners. Also, some patrons parked overnight or for extended times in what were intended to be loading and unloading spaces.

We were in Room 104, near the pool. This hotel is like a TARDIS, it's bigger on the inside. We came to Sedona as a base for our drive to the Grand Canyon. Please note, it would be easier to do this from Flagstaff, but I think Sedona is prettier and it was worth it, even if coming in and out of town on 89a is kind of a project (especially at night!) The area is tourist central. So if you like being near the ice cream shop, candle store etc, you are in luck! Lots of restaurants, etc. Note: Sedona has passed a 'no Straw' ordinance, so if you need them, bring your own. We were eating and a lady lost her mind over this, so be prepared! Check in was easy and the guys behind the desk were friendly and fun. They sell a lot of stuff in the lobby, so if you want snacks and such, it's there. The pool is smallish, but there, and the view from our room was of the red rocks, so it's really pretty. The gym is in a separate building, but we opted to walk in the parking garage across the street. it was cool in the morning, and the shade was perfect. The breakfast was outstanding. Hot choices that changed daily, a fruit and yogurt bar, good coffee and lots of options. Waffles included. The folks at breakfast were outstanding. Smiling, helpful and really proud of the job they were doing. They even let us make PBJ sandwiches for our trip to the Canyon. (Take food, everything that far north was EXPENSIVE, even McDonalds!) The hotel was quiet and the tv selection was expansive! The decor is slightly dated, but very comfortable and clean, basically the pictures are accurate. Also, thank you for not putting heavy comforters on the beds! It's Arizona, we don't need that. I recommend this property unreservedly. It was a great price and location!

Pleasantly surprised after staying here 1 night. The rooms are nice, but what makes this hotel special is the location. The views from the rooms overlook the canyon and it's beautiful. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast (which is included) is really delicious. The hotel is also right next door to several restaurants and shops. Would recommend this hotel for a short stay in Sedona. Parking is also included and right next to the hotel.

One of the nicest Best Westerns around anywhere. Had a balcony in the back of the property that overlooked a lot of Sedona's beauty. It was peaceful and relaxing. Good Breakfast also...location was uptown and real close to shops, etc.

The Hotel is great, the view is Fantastic. When You check in don't use a debit Card, use a credit card. They will hold an amount equal to the room charge as a damage deposit as well as the per night room charge for each night of Your stay. Thats double what You expected to pay!! If You use a debit card that total amount of cash is taken and You won't get it back for 2-5 days.

When traveling to Sedona we always choose staying at this facility. We have stayed in the "main building" queen rooms, the North building small suites(FABULOUS) as well as in the beautiful and roomy Creekside Villas. ALL of the stays have been excellent. The front desk staff(special thanks to Matthew this trip) have always been attentive and quick, the parking and the property are well maintained and safe. Love the Laundry room facility(can pack less). The activities area is excellent: saunas, pools, hot tub, pool table, gym, outside grills and sitting areas all very clean and accessible. The rooms are perfectly clean and everything functions. Love the coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, safe, hair dryer... the list goes on. The "breakfast included" perk here is WAY above the average. Gil, the manager for breakfast takes time and interest in his work....this is not the expected "cookie cutter Free breakfast." The BW Arroyo is in the "downtown" region and is an easy walk everywhere. The hiking trails are all within a 10-20 minute drive. Make sure you get a Red Rock Pass to park at some of the trailheads. The US Forest Service requires this at some so be informed! as to where you are going.

The room was clean with king bed, fireplace, patio and great view. There is a pool and spa available for guests. A very good hot breakfast is served from 7 to 10. The staff is competent and very friendly. Will use this property whenever we are in the area.

The staff at the BW Plus Arroyo went out of their way to help us with everything. No question was to big or small, no matter how many we asked. Giving us info on tour ideas helped make our days so easy. The bed was the best thing I have ever slept on. I'd even give up a bag of M&M's for it.

We booked a stay at this hotel for it's convenient location and great views. As others have pointed out, traffic in downtown Sedona is bad so it's great to be able to park our car at the hotel and walk around downtown since the hotel is in such a great location. As for the view, the patio in our 5th floor room had a great view of the red rocks and was surprisingly quiet considering how close we were to the city center. The rooms were a little dated but clean and in pretty good condition. Breakfast had a good variety of items with indoor and outdoor seating and the staff was attentive and friendly. The pool at the hotel was broken while we were there but we did have access to the indoor/outdoor pool at the adjacent villas. This was a nice pool area but a little bit of a walk from the hotel. I was happy with our stay at the hotel. The price was a little high but still reasonable considering the location. If you want something close to downtown with great views, this is probably one of the best options.

Views of red mountains from my room. 2 min walk to Oak Creek. In middle of downtown close to shops and restaurants but in the room it is a million miles away. Just you and mts. Front, breakfast and cleaning staff were excellent

We recently stayed in the 2 bedroom, 1 bath, cottage which we highly recommend to those wanting a little more space than a hotel room. The cottage sits behind the hotel, so its quiet, you have your own driveway so parking is no issue and it comes with great unobstructed views of the red rocks. Living area is spacious, we actually used the fireplace each morning. Bedrooms were a good size and beds were comfortable. It has small fridge and microwave and of course, coffee service. Table was for 4. I don't cook on vacation so this was perfect. They do have villas with full kitchen if you need that. Breakfast was very good each day and included in the rate, its just a short walk to that building. Hotel is within easy walking distance for shops, activities and dining. We liked being in town. Staff was very nice. Again, we would highly recommend staying in the cottage.

Not much to complain about with this place. The staff was friendly and very helpful. You'll have access to the club amenities including and indoor and outdoor pool, hot tubs, steam room, suana, tennis courts, pool tables, etc. If you can manage it, you can grab a room with a view of the red rocks and a balcony and you won't want to leave. Great stay!

The views of the Red Rocks from our 5th floor room were fantastic. The location of the hotel is within the shopping district but not in the middle of the more intense traffic. The hotel has changed since we last stayed here some 20 years ago -- time share property now is between the main hotel building and the Oak Creek. The time share property houses most of the recreational facilities and is a bit inconvenient to the hotel proper (but for a non working outdoor pool during our stay -- we understood the pool recently had a technical issue). The staff are professional. The daily buffet breakfast, included in the cost of the room, was more than sufficient and had some basic hot and cold items and changing featured items - much appreciated for a multiple day stay. The beds are fine, the bathrooms small, the balcony offers a lovely view. In general, the in room decor (particularly the rug) could use an update. The furniture was a bit beaten up -- I'm not sure the rooms have been changed much, if any, for a few years. We booked ahead by some months so our room rate was good. These rooms can be pricey based on the season. Sedona can be pricey and you pay for convenience. This hotel is an oldy but decent choice for folks wanted to explore Sedona.

Fell in love with Sedona when visiting and this cute little gem was just the icing on the cake. Primo location for walking to anything and everything, so cozy and adorable, beautiful grounds, with a beautiful backdrop of red rocks, easy access and parking. Friendly staff, and the bed.... I slept like a baby. No noise except the crickets chirping. I hope I get to come and visit again sooner than later:). there's no other place I would stay:)

Our family of 4 (parents plus young-adult children) stayed in a 2 bedroom condo-suite down by the creek. It was very spacious townhouse style. Not much of a view from patio but parked right outside door. One king and one queen were okay for comfort. Hide-a-bed was definitely not great ...probably just for kids. Good kitchen and nice renovated bathrooms. It was a bit dark and older but nicely renovated. Pool looked okay but we didn't go in because sun wasn't facing it in the afternoon. Easy parking for check-in, staff friendly, complementary coffee. Right in middle of town which was very busy with tourist visiting t-shirt, jewelry and crystal stores that all carried the same things. Breakfast on site which had hot items and fruit (not the best but not the worst) served in an echo-y room with loud music pumping through. Price was high but seems like that is true for all Sedona hotels.

Friendly, courteous staff. Large room, very comfortable bed. In addition to the refrigerator, there was a small microwave, which came in handy. Beautiful views of the red rocks from our balcony, and even from the room, thanks to the floor-to-ceiling sliding doors to the balcony. Full breakfast buffet--dry cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, fresh fruit (apples, bananas, grapes, oranges, melons), multiple breads/muffins/pastries, exceptional scrambled eggs, an egg caserole that was different each day, breakfast sausage links and either bacon or ham, and belgian waffles made to order, coffee, milk, and assorted juices.

night 1 was bad only because someone had clearly thrown up next to the bed-it was cleaned up, but the stench was overwhelming-we didn't get compensated and had to stay in the room all night-the 2nd night they moved us

The Best Western in Sedona was a wonderful choice for our vacation. The room was clean, and the complimentary breakfast was delicious with a lot of choices. I loved the view out of our room. We had a little table and chairs that overlooked one of the pools as well as the beautiful Sedona scenery. We also enjoyed using the other indoor/outdoor pool as well as the game room and sports courts. I loved all the potted flowers and climbing vines around the property. It really added to the stay to be surrounded by the beauty. And probably most of all, we loved the location to all the shopping and restaurants. It was so nice to be able to walk and not have to drive everywhere. Would definitely stay there again when going back to Sedona!

We loved staying at this hotel. Breakfast was both delicious and fresh. The view from our room was spectacular. Two pools to choose from and walking distance to all of "uptown" Sedona. I would rate as excellent except the trash pick up at wee morning hours was very loud! It woke us all up everyday!

The hotel is located in the heart of downtown Sedona, you can walk to all the shops and restaurants. The view from all the rooms is fantastic, can't lose. Friendly staff, grounds clean and well kept. Parking is free and convenient. Lobby is rustic and could use some updating, but otherwise is fine. Would definitely stay there again.

Great place right downtown in the north section of town. We stayed in one of their villas along Oak Creek. It was very nice. The front desk, especially Matthew and his manager were very accommodating to us. They offered great recommendations and easy check in. So glad we picked this place to stay while in Sedona.

We've been returning to this gem of a hotel for many years now. It has a perfect location looking out over Sedona's beautiful red rock vistas. A room on the view side gives us a private veranda from which to watch the spectacular sunsets, and see the light change throughout the day. The rooms are well furnished and comfortable, clean and quiet. The staff is always friendly and helpful, genuinely wanting to make your experience the best it can be. And, they succeed...every time.

This is a reasonable hotel in what can be an expensive area of AZ. The good: great location; nice views from the upper floor, quiet (small) pool area. Rooms are a bit worn and ours had an odd smell and we needed to keep the slider open while we there. But, I will say the members of the staff were wonderful, with friendly service and making an accommodation to our reservation for the smell. Overall, this is a fine place to stay. You are able to walk to most of Sedona town and parking was easy and at no charge. If you like a resort like feel you wont get it, but, you also are not paying for it. If you are there to enjoy the shops, restaurants, and all the outdoor activities Sedona has to offer and are using the hotel as just a room this hotel will be fine. Set your expectations and you wont be disappointed. Overall, I am not sure I would stay again as I like a more resort like feel if I am in a hotel. But, I will again say that the staff were very professional and friendly and that turned our stay into a positive one.
