Best Western CTC Hotel Verona

We have just returned from a week in Italy where we stayed at the CTC Best Western Hotel. The hotel is located approx 15 minutes ride into Verona Centre. Externally the hotel isn't particularly attractive and is located off the busy highway more or less on an industrial site. There are a couple of supermarkets nearby but let's just say we wouldn't have wanted to do the walk. Our first impression of the hotel on entering was very pleasing, it was bright, clean modern and very airy. After such a pleasing first impression this was soon dampened when the lift opened to reveal a very dated corridor. We had booked a family room and on entering my first comment was “shall we see if we can change hotel”. Once again the room was very dated, the taps in the bathroom look like they were from the late 70's. There were rust marks on the side of the bath and the mastic under the shower shield was embarrassing. We decided to stay put as we would be in the room for such a short time. Our room was equipped with a safe but be warned, it isn't secured or bolted down. It can be lifted up, put in a large hold-all and walked out of the building. It also locks with your room key. We did use it but for the first couple of days we checked our belongings every time we got back to the room. Some floors may be refurbished but we stayed on the third floor and there was no sign of modernisation here. Our fridge was warmer inside than the room itself and our milk which we purchased went off and had to be thrown away. We did report this to Reception but nothing was done about it. We used the coffee making facilities but not every item was replenished so we found ourselves without spoons or stirrers. Also spills were not cleaned and were often there upon a return the following evening. Although we don't use a bidet there was one in the bathroom with two miniature bottles of intimate wash on the side. One was half used from a previous occupant which is gross. The hotel provides a free mini bus into Verona/Station and back but this needs to be booked in advance. We booked for the day after we arrived for a 9.30 am transfer but it didn't turn up until 10.10 am. Not a problem for us on this day but we couldn't take a chance on our other days as we had train tickets booked for various days out. We used taxis but you need to bear in mind these can cost anywhere from 15E to 24E depending on traffic which does accumulate during your stay. The Dining Room was very clean and breakfast choices were ok, this was included in our price but I didn't think 10 Euro was a bad price. The bartender was very friendly although whilst we were staying the bar wasn't used very much. All in all the public areas are lovely however the corridors and rooms don't match these public areas and need serious modernisation. Would I stay here again - No

This is very much a four star business oriented hotel and set up accordingly. The room was clean and well laid out but basic fit-out and facilities. There were enough amenities and enough space for an overnight stay. The bed however was very firm and a little uncomfortable. Breakfast was busy but there was a good selection and plenty of everything. Dinner at the "V" restaurant in the hotel was good with good service and friendly staff.

Dirty, old and moldy rooms, rusty screws sticking out, would not stay again with kids, or alone for that matter, water pressure non-existent, looks like nobody cares. Cannot imagine this would be ok for BW management. People working are nice but I don't think they really know what they are selling. I never ever write reviews but I would've liked to have read mine before I booked it.

Giovanni- HOTEL CTC VERONA BEST WESTERN Our stay was made truly unforgettable thanks to Giovanni at reception. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, he went above and beyond in every possible way. He is an absolute credit to the hotel. Giovanni is one of the funniest, kindest and most caring people we have met. He welcomed us with a genuine smile every time we walked through the doors, always taking the time to ask how our day had been and making us feel like valued guests rather than just another booking. His warmth, respect and professionalism made such a difference to our holiday. His knowledge of Verona and the surrounding attractions was outstanding. Every recommendation he gave us was fantastic, from places to visit and restaurants to transport advice. He was always happy to answer our questions, no matter how many we had, and he explained everything so clearly. Thanks to him, we were able to make the most of our trip and discover places we might otherwise have missed. Unfortunately, we did have some interactions with other reception staff who came across as quite rude and spoke to us in an unfriendly manner, which was disappointing. However, Giovanni completely changed our experience. His exceptional customer service, kindness and positive attitude more than made up for those encounters. He genuinely made us feel welcome and cared for throughout our stay. People like Giovanni are rare, and he deserves to be recognised for the incredible work he does. He is the kind of employee who leaves a lasting impression and is a huge asset to this hotel. We will definitely be returning, and one of the biggest reasons is because of Giovanni. Thank you for making our holiday so special—we can't wait to come back and see you again!

Booked through Jet2, the advertised shuttle service was very difficult to book, not available or didn't even bother to turn up.

We arrived early and was able to check in early which we were very thankful for, we upgraded our room which included a mini bar which was complementary, we opened the fridge and it only contained 1 can of coke and a bottle of juice, sorry plus some chocolate, it was not replaced for the 2nd night and neither was milk for a cup of tea the next morning, it seemed the room was only stocked for 1 person, 1 robe, 1 slippers and as mentioned the drink in the fridge, 1st morning we were down for breakfast a bit later, the eggs had run out and were dry and not replaced for over 20 minutes, also in the room there is only 1 spare pillow provided, the hotel is okay, cheaper than staying in the centre of Verona

The hotel is on the edge of Verona positioned near a motorway junction making it a good base to explore the area. The hotel offers a shuttle service that takes you to Verona or the railway station. The rooms are a good size and clean they are serviced every day. Breakfast was well presented with a good selection. It is a short walk to the local shopping mall were there is a supermarket which is handy for essentials. You can catch the 144 bus from here into town and back. All staff we met were friendly and helpful particularly Jessica and Johnny on the front desk.

I had a positive experience. The hotel is highly functional and provides what you need for a comfortable stay. The rooms were clean . I found the staff to be friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The breakfast was decent with a fair variety of options to start the day. It is important to note that the hotel is located a bit far from the city center, so having a car is definitely recommended to get around easily. Overall, it offers great value for money, especially if you're looking for a dependable and clean place to stay in the Verona area.

My daughter and I really loved this hotel. The hotel itself is welcoming. The rooms are very spacious. Even though I was not there for business, I appreciated having the desk so I could work. The breakfast was good and had something for everyone. The man at the front desk was exceptionally helpful.

Just returned from a fantastic 7 day stay at CTC Best Western, Verona. The hotel was light, spacious, airey and cool. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a great daily service from house keeping staff who provided clean towels and bedsheets which was really appreciated. Breakfast was a good selection of both hot and cold which includes fresh fruit, pastries and local cheeses, meats and sweet treats, alongside scrambled eggs, mushrooms, beans and bacon all served in a buffet style self service spacious dining room. The Hotel location is around 10 to 15 minutes drive from the city and not really a viable walking option, however the free shuttle service ( pre-book) was excellent and made visits to the city or train station very easy and with the drivers good local knowledge we picked up some great tips on places to visit and transport, such as train systems etc. The hotel staff were excellent throughout our stay, helping with transport, translation or any questions we had, nothing was to much trouble. If your planning a stay near verona and want a good solid base, without the hustle and bustle of the city and dont mind being out of town then this is a good value for money choice.

Very clean and beautiful property, the staff was also very helpful. The shuttle runs sporadically and was often fully booked.

We are a couple in our 80''s ( Average 85 years ) One of us a vegetarian of fifty years standing/ This Hotel is listed as four star and the prices reflect that; unfortunately nothing else does. You do have in each room complimentary tea and coffee making facilities providing you are prepared to take your tea or coffee black. During our 14 night stay room service could only provide milk sachets on two occasions as the staff were allegedly unable to obtain supplies. You might expect to enjoy the benefits of the rooms Flat Screen TV but unless you are fluent in Italian, German or Russian you will have only Fox News and Chinese Propaganda by way of entertainment for the whole of your stay. English sub-titles are not even available for the American produced programmes dubbed though they were into every other language but our own. Subscription channels are not available in this hotel. The incredibly restrictive menu in the hotel's restaurant is only changed every three months. It has very few variations and is priced a third higher than you might expect to pay in Verona City. The buffet breakfast comprises mostly of tinned or processed food, over sweetened pastries, dangerously tepid scrambled eggs with even the Orange Juice only identifiable by colour as the flavour and consistency had no resemblance what-so ever to real fruit. As the Hotel is quite distant from Verona City we had planned planned to use the hotel's promised complementary shuttle bus. However the mini-bus is not owned by the hotel and has a maximum capacity of eight passengers, that for a hotel with 217 rooms. If you can manage book the shuttle bus often two days in advance you might just get a seat outbound or back but at a time of the hotels choosing not your own. Thus; you must be prepared to finance at least one journey by taxi each and every day at the cost of £16.00 or more for each inbound or outbound ride. We were obliged to spend over £200 in taxi fares during our stay. The other option was to simply die of boredom shut away in our room a room that had a most excellent view of the hotels rubbish skips. Yes there is a commercial bus stop 740 metres away (admittedly 500 metres as the crow flies ) but only if you are prepared to walk that distance day or night through a deserted and partly derelict industrial estate. That is also the distance to the nearest alternative Bars and Restaurants though these do not seem to open fully until 8.00pm. Simplistically, do not consider staying in this hotel for more than one night and then only if in desperation it is your only option

I am a member of the Best Western hotel chain so we decided to stay in the Hotel with my mother (94) my husband and my sister. We went to see a performance at the Filarmonico Theater in Verona on the 31st of December 2024....great evening ! Everything was ok in my room with my husband but unfortunately has not been the same in the room of my mother and sister. The heating was broken and the phone in the room was not working. My sister had to go down to the reception in the middle of the night because it was very cold in the room and quite dangerous for my old mother. After a long discussion, the receptionist apologized and agreed to give my sister a discount. It was not about the money but the discomfort created by NOT having checked the room properly before any booking . You don't really expect such a problem on New Year eve!

Booked the hotel for a one week stay for a family wedding situated nearby. Receptionist was very helpful and upgraded our room on arrival as we were early. The hotel is outside the city but close to Verona 1 shopping mall which has a fantastic hypermarket for food rather than use the restaurant or eateries in town. Good selection of Continental foods for breakfast. The hotel has a shuttle bus service which has to be booked the day before and will return you to the hotel. On the first occasion it was overbooked and we had to take a taxi which was reimbursed so no problem. There's a local bus service (22) which is cheap to use from the shopping area but only one per hour. I recommend you download the local bus app. Verona is too far to walk. Room was immaculate and the cleaners were efficient daily. Sadly we returned one evening to find the air conditioner had leaked in the ceiling and the tiles had come down putting water into the closet and carpeted floor. The receptionist asked us to leave the room for an hour so the repair could be made. When told no, we were moved to another room. On the whole, this is a very good hotel with excellent service from all members of staff and we would stay there again. Particular praise goes to Giovanni on reception.

First overnight stay in Verona No easy local transport but suited the purpose , hotel suivated on a industrial area , had a reasonable breakfast , rooms were nice and clean , friendly staff , I could not see a value for money due to the location , but good overall stay .

Great , clean hotel , very large rooms but slightly out of the city centre. Hotel would be great if you have a car , plenty parking spaces and easy route to roads. Hotel supplied a shuttle bus to and from the city centre which was a great addition by the hotel. Shuttle had to be booked in advance but we had no problems. Took a few taxis to centre costing approx 18 euros and to airport 33 euros. Breakfast was excellent with plenty choices and cleaning staff were excellent and polite, as was the reception staff. Safe was also great , using door card to open. Verona is a wonderful place to visit.

My friend and I have just returned from this hotel. No real complaints hotel was spotlessly clean and staff lovely. Approximately 20 minutes drive into centre. I cannot understand previous reviews commenting on the area and distance from the centre. Surely you would read this before you booked. We did a city break with jet2 and this was mentioned. We used the shuttle bus and taxis which weren't cheap but still did not add up to price of hotels in verona centre. Our room was huge. Nice bathroom with toiletries. Breakfast had everything. Very busy no matter what time you went. I didn't like the tea and my friend didn't like the coffee but this is personal taste. The barman was really nice when we had a drink before bed. Overall we had a smashing time. We used the trains to visit other resorts. Very good service and not too expensive all in all a great time

Very nice and clean hotel with enough parking close to the highway hub. I would suggest this hotel as optimum location in case traveler is arriving with car and want to visit Verona, Lago di Garda and surroundings... Breakfast was also very nice with a just minor addition on top of the budget

It was a wonderful stay, very helpful staff and great service, highly recommended to orhers, very close to shopping centers,and cinamas. breakfast buffet worth for money, excellent service specly wanna thanks to reception staff arranging all our needs

Love the white white bedding and most comfortable bed to sleep on! Room spacious and very clean, best of all staff are wonderful and courteous especially the front desk. The delightful breakfast has everything you could ask for. Highly recommended!

Don't be put off by the surrounding location as it's a good 20 minute drive to Verona city, The hotel provides a great shuttle bus service into and from Verona, you just need to plan your days and book your seat in advance 24hrs We only used taxi service to and from the hotel, it would work out quite expensive using taxi into out of city. Lovely staff on reception so helpful but also staff in the restaurant which had a great menu and wine choices, after an exhausting days walking we ate here due to the quality, the head manager was great a making suggestions and very attentive - Colegerrio very professional and interesting to talk to. Great bar service with Cocktail of the day being advertised, very reasonable cost for a hotel too! Again the staff member - Salvador managing this was superb, friendly welcoming a real gentleman, worth visiting for this service. Our room was very big, super clean with a big bed which was very comfortable, sleep well on each of our 4 nights stay. Housekeeping made bed and changed towels daily. The bathroom was somewhat in need of an upgrade but all else was good. . Would definitely stay again to explore the area further.

Friendly staff, pleasant rooms kept clean and tidy, but disappointing location knocks down the rating. Breakfast was plentiful and food was very good although menu limited and there were no specials. It felt quite corporate so lacked atmosphere, but the main problem was the location, which was an industrial area surrounded by major roads about 15 minutes drive from the centre of Verona. Free shuttle bus was a godsend and but had to be booked in advance and not very flexible, punctual or obvious ( no markings) so easily missed resulting in expensive taxi fares.

Would have been 5 stars, except for the location, which is advertised as being in Verona City. In fact it is a 15 min shuttle or taxi ride. The hotel offers a shuttle free of charge, but spaces and available times are limited and you can't always get this when needed. We found an hourly bus about a 15 min walk from the hotel and used this a few times to get into the city and back again, at only 4 Euro each return. Bed was comfortable, except for the pillows, which need renewing. Housekeeping was great, daily cleaning and replenished bottled water daily. Breakfast was basic, nothing special and coffee tepid at best. A very special shout out to Salvatore, the barman, who was a delight. Very friendly and welcoming and an asset to his employers at Best Western CTC

Nothing special and not very close to the city center but: - taxi to Arena/city center costs about 16€ - rooms are big and comfortable - parking is free - Verna airport is very close - staff is extremely friendly and helpful. However, good idea will be to change pillows - they are old and unpleasant.

Clean and quiet. Perfect to stop over on a roadtrip through northern Italy. Had a good nights rest with crisp sheets. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok, there were many options to choose from. Coffee was decent. Lots of parking, all uncovered.

Reading previous reviews I was slightly cautious However the moment we walked in we were made to feel so special and welcome Our room was great ( huge !) and shout out to housekeeping very clean and rooms refreshed every day The girls on reception were so helpful The shuttle was a great way to get in and out of Verona too Air conditioning worked a treat The bar was a lovely place to have a cold beer after a long day sightseeing There is a fab shopping centre about 10 mins away really easy to get to too Thank you for a great stay !

The room was nice and spacious, the bed was very comfortable with clean sheets and really nice pillows. There was plenty of light from the very large windows, and on top of that, the room service was excellent, clean towels and toiletries. Thank you.

We received a lovely warm welcome from Miriam. Checkin was fast and efficient. Our room, 528, was very comfortable. Complimentary water was was supplied daily as were toiletries. The buffet breakfast was delicious, with lots of variety. The hotel provided a free shuttle service to and from Verona and to the station on our departure. The staff were all lovely. Miriam is amazing! She helped us with our onwards journey in a friendly and professional manner. Special thanks to the barman too. We had a perfect stay and highly recommend this hotel.

we are a family of 4 (2 little kids) and got 2 connecting rooms with decent size. Overall the stay was perfect, the breakfast was very good and they have a Parking on site. The staff at the reception was amazing and very kind. I would definitely recommend it.

Though outside the city center, Best Western CTC's shuttle made it rather easy to access from the main train station. All the staff we interacted with were extremely helpful and accommodating especially as it was our first time in Italy and don't speak the language. The breakfast buffet was plentiful, varied and of great quality. They choose to provide for diverse palates. We would love to go back for another visit.

Great value. Great staff. Shuttle service to Verona centre and return excellent. Rooms spacious and clean. Breakfast was very good with lots of variety and restaurant had limited menu, but was very good. Enjoyed our stay and will return in the future.

Whilst the hotel is a little out of the city, the shuttle service (which must be booked 24h in advance) is very convenient for the station and the centre. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Our room (203) was very comfortable, clean and well equipped. Breakfast is 'interesting' with a good selection of pastries. Although located in an industrial area, there is a fantastic shopping centre a few minutes walk away and a UCI cinema close by. The hotel would be massively improved if they moved the bar area (and possibly the restaurant) up to the 9th floor where they gave a large meeting room in probably the nicest location in the hotel. It also has a terraced area up there! What a waste!

This was one of the best holidays we have been on. The Hotel was clean and in a great location. The staff really knowledgeable and friendly. The hotel provides a free shuttle bus to the train station or plaza which is bookable the day before. If not it is around €16 in a taxi. We will be booking again soon.

Beautiful rooms, quiet air con and very clean . Helpful friendly staff, nothing was too much for them. We used their shuttle bus many times and they even organised late pick ups after the Opera! Salvatore the barman was a great host .

We spent 3 night in this hotel, out side of the city which makes it more convenient and easy if you travel with a car Staff was super nice and helpful with all our needs Rooms are large and clean breakfast had many option for both healthy and kids eating styles We would be happy to be back there

Everything was almost good. The room was almost clean ( paper under the bed); Spacious bathroom, but the ceiling shower was dripping; private parking; good breakfast, with diverse and fresh food. Shuttle Bus to the city center and back.

We had such a pleasant experience. The staff of the hotel was so friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, all you need for a good rest. They served us amazing breakfast. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

The hotel was exceptionally clean and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. We took advantage of the free shuttle every day which took us into the City and also to the Train/Bus Station. The breakfast can be booked at a better rate when you get there and the choice was extensive, it kept us going until dinner time! I would highly recommend this hote.

Excellent breakfast choice, clean room and great shuttle service . Friendly and helpful staff. You need to book shuttle at least 24hrs in advance but with minimal planning it makes your stay so much better as although public transport is available a short walk away it is not the easiest to navigate

We had 2 connecting rooms and both smelled terrible. We had to get moved get out of the smell, but it was only slightly better than the previous room. The rest of the hotel was nice and the buffet was delicious. I really hope they are able to fix the smell problem.

The hotel is very noisy because the construction is not well isolated. you hear the toilet flush from above and next door. Due to the reception on the first floor, you have to move your luggage up. of course there is an elevator, but you wait years. they only have 3 elevetors for such a huge building. for the Morning breakfast, all tables were reserved for the groups... they joined around . 0900 and i wanted to have breakfast at 07.30. havin logistic unter control mean you can eat before. so all in all, if you find another r hotel than this, do it. this one is not worth is price. should rethink the things mentioned.

We were 2 adults with 2 small babies and booked very late but they were very kind and offered all they can to help make our stay comfortable. The only thing is that the hotel is a bit far from the center of Verona but that was totally fine because they offer free transportation from and to the hotel (which you need to book way in advance btw)

We came to the hotel for a standard two nights stay as part of our family trip to Italy. Due to medical complications we had to extend our stay at the hotel for a week. The front desk team (and especially Jessica !!) where very kind and gentle accomodating our reservations changes, even though we knew the hotel was fully booked. The rooms are big and modern, above expectations from an out of the city centre hotel

Cozy, spacious, clean and friendly service at Best Western Verona. And lovely variety of breakfast food in large room with friendly people to serve. Overall, nice place to stay and thanks for the hospitality.

Overall a good little find. We chose to be a little out of Verona city centre as it meant we would save a couple of hundred pounds on our holiday. The hotel is in quite a deserted place and doesn't look overly promising from the outside, however, when you arrive inside it is quite grand almost and all the staff are very pleasant. As for the rooms, they were ok - comfortable, slightly outdated, but perfectly fine for if the hotel is just somewhere to sleep and eat breakfast (breakfast was quite nice in all honesty). There is a free shuttle bus into Verona city, which seems quite handy, but the fact you had to book 24 hours ahead kind of seemed pointless to us, as the whole point of our trip was to explore and see where the world takes us (no planning involved whatsoever). We also found taxis around here are extremely overpriced, around €20 from the city to the hotel (obviously no fault from the hotel, but completely impractical if you're heading to and from the hotel a couple of times a day). Luckily we found a bus on the main road close to the Verona Uno shopping centre, take the 144 which will take you to the city centre for just under €3 a trip. If we were to come back to Verona we would most likely stay again, thanks!

Friendly and helpful staff. Reception staff unable order a taxi for the return journey to the airport because of high demand as a result of bad weather. They arranged transport with the shuttle bus company, an example of good service! The hotel Wi-Fi connectivity was excellent as was the breakfast. The only drawback of the hotel is its location on the outskirts of Verona. This meant that we used the shuttlebus and taxis (fifteen / twenty-minute journey). It is necessary to book the departure slots the day before for the shuttlebus, the available time slots were not always our preferred time. The shuttlebus will drop you off at the railway station if you ask the driver (did a day a day trip to Lake Garda using the train, inexpensive and regular service, well worth doing). A taxi fare to the Piazza Bra / Arena including tip was circa 20 euros. There were always taxis available at the location for the return journey. The taxi fare from the airport to the hotel was 30 euros. I would use this hotel again if ever returning to Verona.

The hotel was beautiful. It was extremely clean and the breakfast choice was amazing. We had connecting rooms, both were huge and had their own bathrooms. The staff were fantastic and informative, they advised on things to do locally. There is a cinema across the road and public transport, although it does not run on weekends so we had to get a taxi into the centre. Also, it is about €50 in a taxi to the airport.

Stayed here for 3 nights, really lovely hotel & room, very helpful receptionist staff. Definitely worth enquiring about breakfast & shuttle bus early to avoid disappointment. The shuttle bus is a 8 seater bus and only goes a couple of times in the morning & the last pick up is at 7pm which is a bit disappointing as cannot enjoy an evening dinner and drinks in the city. The breakfast is €6 pp if you book eve before and quite a wide variety bacon, eggs, pastry, meats etc. Only reason I didn't put 5 stars is because both days the maid cleaned our room it left an awful stench of sewage and all they seemed to do is make the bed. Be aware that a taxi from the airport is €30 minimum and same price from hotel to Verona city centre. Not much in the area in regards to restaurants & bars there is a shopping centre with a huge supermarket a short walk away though. Overall a nice romantic holiday

horrible horrible horrible hotel. beware, the hotel throttles the air conditioning and locks it remotely. if your unit works! furnishings massively outdated and uncomfortable. hallways reek of a putrid industrial cleaner cigarette smoke mixture. bathroom tub/shower moldy. generally dirty feeling overall once you get past the lobby. staff friendly

The hotel was fine for our needs. The room was spacious and well-ventilated/heated. If a little noisy with the window open as traffic flowed not too far away. With the window closed it was quiet. The shuttle bus took us to the centre of Verona so it was a short walk to places we wanted to visit in one day. Getting back was less convenient as the public bus destination required a walk that I didn't want to make. The shuttle bus only left at certain times which did not suit us. Book early if you want to be sure of a seat. It was easy to get a taxi and cost us under €20 with a tip, so for two passengers was cost-effective as it suited our convenience. Dinner in the restaurant had a good selection of local dishes. Cost for three courses, wine and coffee was reasonable. We paid €93 for two of us. Waiters were helpful and gave good food advice. Breakfast was a true italian experience. As an unfailing daily bacon, egg, mushroom and tomato eater, I was astounded at how much cake an italian breakfast plate seemed often to hold. Not for me I'm afraid, not a morsel of beige carbs passes my lips before lunch! The bacon was the thin, fried, cured belly pork you often see in mainland Europe, the scrambled egg was just about recognisable as such — how do they make it in big lumps? There was cold meat and cheese, and bread rolls if you searched the side bays, with toasters, fruit and yogurt, so you needed go hungry if you couldn't face cake! For a short break the hotel had everything you needed.

A FANTASTIC stay for two nights for my family and me. We decided to stay here because of the excellent price as we needed three rooms. Already when we arrived, we were given an upgrade to use for free the mini bar, get Bath robes and slippers. The treatment by staff was exceptional and we immediately felt welcome. As they noticed we took a taxi from the train station, they recommended their free shuttle service and immediately booked one for us to go to the city centre only one hour later (normally one needs to book 24 hours ahead). We were very grateful and could use the shuttles the next days too! Positives: - Excellent English skills by all staff! - Very good big breakfast buffet for a very cheap price (for us 6€). - Amazing free shuttle service. - Spacious and nice welcome/lounge area. - Very nice, spacious, luxurious rooms. - Comfortable beds. - Large Windows with great thick curtains to keep the heat out. - Easy to use air condition. - Quick elevators. - No noise at night even though the hotel is next to the motorway. - Modern, spacious and very clean bathrooms! Recommendations: - book the amazing free shuttle service in advance! - the prosecco at the bar.

We had a seven night stay in the hotel, the room overall was very good. A nice touch was the shampoo and shower gel which if used was replaced every day, also a small fridge which was supplied with complimentary water every day. The location of the hotel is way out of Verona centre. The shuttle bus is free and a good service. The bus going into Verona was very easy but getting the bus back was tricky as it would terminate at Pestrino which left us stranded. The breakfast was excellent, we dined once in the restaurant which was overpriced for a below average meal. Overall the hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

We were passing through in late May and there was a heat wave, it was usually about 90° each day. I called to confirm there was air conditioning and that I would be able to control the temperature of our room and told that there was. But what I was not told was that the air conditioning does NOT cool the room. At all. We contacted the front desk which came and fiddled with the unit and moved us to a different room. It was no cooler. We were never able to get the room below about 78°. It was a miserable night as the windows only open a few inches and they had no fans available. The beds are also extremely firm. The one positive was that it's a beautiful property and very nice breakfast is included. But I would never stay here again. This was May!!! Can you imagine what it's like in July or August? If you have such inadequate air conditioning you should also have fans provided for your guests.

I did live my stat at the hotel! Very friendly and cooperative staff, delicious foods of different kind, clean and nice room - what can be better? We're being honest, okay? The hotel is just a big, ugly hulk. The surroundings are dreary and depressing. The only thing you can reach on foot is a shopping centre. But do you want that when you are in a beautiful city like Verona? No, you don't want that. You want to take part in the beautiful city centre, in the pulsating life. Here you will NOT find all that! If you do NOT intend to leave the hotel, then check in, go to your room and sleep. Because that's what you can do here: sleep well. It's a sleep factory with spacious rooms, good beds. The furnishings are okay, but without charm and have been seen 100 times before. They have a decent desk and good WiFi, the breakfast is perfectly fine, and you have enough parking spaces too. What they don't have: Charm, character, something independent, a USP, a reason to come back. As a transit hotel ok, but not for feeling good.

We stayed at CTC Best Western hotel for 5 nights in two connecting rooms (This is a perfect solution for families). Breakfast was perfect which a lot of choices. We needed one gluten-free breakfast. Every morning we received basket full of gluten free choices. The stuff in the reception helped us to find a pharmacy that is opened in the evening in order to perform Covid-19 PCR test before the flight. There are a lot of free parking places in the hotel. The hotel is located in an industrial area so you need a car to travel around.

Stayed here one night for a visit in Verona. Very professional staff at the reception - kind and informative! Rooms are spacious and the breakfast was good. Shuttle is also good! Kind of far outside but u can buy some great gifts/grocery at the mall next to it if you are not an Italian.

Updated hotel within walking distance to excellent restaurants. very close to Verona city centre and has free parking available. Breakfast is great along with room size. Staff are friendly and good with English.

The hotel is facing the highway exit and approx 10 min away by taxi from the Verona Porta Nuova railway station. We booked one night, dined at the restaurant, and held our event the next day. Just at our arrival, we were surprised by the excellent structure. The personnel has been kind, competent, and timely in all services rendered. Our rooms incredibly spacious compared to current standards and very well organized. I could work at the desk in a very relaxed and efficient way, also supported by fast wifi. In the evening, we stayed at the hotel restaurant and were delighted with exquisite creations. The breakfast buffet was also rich and varied. When it came to our own event, we had fewer guests than expected, but the staff was prompt in adjusting the catering service and returned the amount that we had paid in excess. Impossible to find a single glitch in the overall experience. We will definitely select them again for our next seminars.

An all-round excellent stay. We booked three rooms for our family party (incl.daughter and son-in-law and our 18-yr-old). Luxurious feel throughout, excellent staff with excellent English, plenty of onsite parking, good fitness room and outstanding breakfast. Restaurant catered brilliantly for one of our party who is coeliac (requiring gluten free) and one who is vegan. - EVERYONE was happy! Location near the motorway was convenient for us too.

We stayed 1 night in Verona to break up the late drive from Milan to Venice. The hotel was clean, the staff was very pleasant. Easy to get to downtown Verona. We had a family room which was actually 2 large connected rooms. Our stay came with breakfast, the breakfast buffet was very fresh and delicious.

We stayed for two nights to attend an event in Verona. They have a handy shuttlebus into the City centre but you do have to book it! hotel itself is clean and functional, rooms are basic and functional and you cant escape the fact its a 70's build. Overall its a decent place to lay your head on a short visit or business trip for a good price. Breakfast was really good!

It's a standard business hotel so if you are in no mood for surprises, this is a place for you. Great buffet breakfast, clean spacious rooms and bathrooms, efficient elevators and AC. Friendly and efficient 24 hour reception area - helped me out with my phone charger that I discovered was broken in the middle of the night. Free parking and pet friendly as well. Offers free shuttle to the city center but hours of operations are restrictive, so if you want to take your time wandering around Verona, you may want to take your car and or budget in ubering back ( or taxi). On the negative, it's ways out of the city center and is located in a rather unattractive business zone. Hotel was doing an incredible weekend rate, so considering the price/benefit ratio, giving up the charm of a city center location was not felt as a sacrifice.

We stayed at the Best Western for two nights, our main goal to see the Mark Knopfler concert in Verona. Thanks to Giovanni, who received us with a wonderful smile, we were given an upgraded room which was beautiful. He gave us tips about the city and where to park. Air conditioner worked perfectly, with the heatwave rolling in. The drive to the historical city is just ten minutes away. Don't pass on the breakfast - they call it “continental” but it was much more than that - eggs, cheeses and meats, so many pastries and fruit galore. There is a large mall just down the road with a huge supermarket. Worth a visit too. The hotel provides a free shuttle service several times a day to and from the city. Definitely recommend staying here. You won't be disappointed! Enjoy

We stayed at this hotel as part of a tour group that was in Italy for soccer. The hotel was very clean. Rooms were very spacious. I really liked the high ceilings and the modern bathroom. Breakfast was amazing every morning and we enjoyed the bar in the evening. I would highly recommend this hotel if visiting Verona.

Perfect hotel with a great service. Comfortable and good size of the room, nice bathroom and very clean. Staff is very polite and helpful. It' s easy to get there from high road so you don't have to wander around in the center. But it's easy to get there as they are providing a free shuttle to the center of Verona and back,so you don't have to be affraid of the distance.

I had a lovely time in this hotel. Room, as well as the other areas, were clean and tidy, water was hot, electric devices were working, breakfast was satisfying. Room was comfortable and calming. I slept like a baby. I woke up well rested and ready to do work. As soon as I steped out of the room I met a lot of business people and I felt amazing productive energy in the air that is very addictive. I stayed for one night only, but I really enjoyed it!

The hotel is located outside the city but near the Air port. We found some shops and restaurants but the best was a Decathlon shop nearby. The drive to the city center took 20 min. The hotel is very nice clean and advanced. Free parking is available. The room was big. We got the accessible room. Never saw something like this. Very advanced. Breakfast was also nice and satisfying. All in all, very nice hotel.

The hotel as such is very good, the room was fantastic and so was the service at the reception (especially Stefania), The mini bus limited space shuttle to the city centre is a good choice but remember to book in advance otherwise the taxi ride from / to the centre costs around 30 euros, the same as from / to the airport...Location is totally confusing if you are driving there and it took us 2 and half hours to find our way to the hotel after asking 20 people for directions and we got 20 different instructions !!!! The menu for dinner is unbelievably limited but breakfast is very very generous...There was no phone directory in the room for hotel services and was never delivered despite my request, shower with utmost care is very very slippery, otherwise this hotel is great and an excellent value for money though I would never again try to drive there...

We arrived by car at the hotel and were pleased to find a huge gated parking lot which was free for guests. When you arrive by car you enter the hotel one floor down from the lobby there is a winding staircase opposite the entry and elevators behind it to reach the lobby. The restaurant is also on this floor while the bar is upstairs at lobby level. The hotel is average from the outside but very modern inside. The room was scrupulously clean and had a modern bathroom with plush towels and robes. There was plenty of storage and a mini bar, electric coffee/tea pot and the room was quiet in spite of being right next to the A4 highway. FYI it is rather difficult to find when exiting the highway because GPS gets confusing. However there is a mall and Leroy Merlin the hardware store very close and you can use those for location purposes from there you can see the hotel. The hotel has a free shuttle into Verona which has to be booked in advance and they even pick you up after a night at the Arena if you prearrange it. The hotel has conference rooms available and during our stay a couple of groups were using them and we did not notice any disruptions. The restaurant has a varied menu and we mostly enjoyed our meals we had a free continental breakfast buffet every morning they also had eggs bacon and sausages available. The wait staff was courteous and professional. The groups were seated in the rear of the restaurant behind screens and enjoyed buffet meals so there was no disruption to the other guests. All together a positive experience and I would return there.

Hotel is a few miles outside of the city of Verona, formally this is a different township, which becomes important when you enter the street address for navigation. The complimentary shuttle service to and from the city center worked very well when we were there in August (hotel not fully booked, less traffic because many Italians are on vacation) and took about 15 minutes. They even picked us up at night after a perrformance at the Arena. The hotel is one of these large buildings that have no particular vibration, but are equipped with all they are supposed to have. The value for money (including a very inexpensive full buffet breakfast with an incredible selection of sweets) was great (off season rates?) and was a lot better than for comparable hotels in the city center. The extremely friendly people at the reception (and mostly also at breakfast) deserve particular mentioning.

Located about 15 mins from airport and 15-20 mins from town centre. Hotel looks bland from outside but the rooms are clean and spacious. Hotel provides free shuttle service to and from town centre which needs to be booked in advance. A word of warning here that the shuttle bus only takes 8 people and only runs into town at 9.30 and again at 11am. More buses run in the afternoon. A decent shopping mall is a mere 5 min walk from the hotel and a couple of decent restaurants in the close visciniy. Breakfast buffet is generous. I would recommend this hotel and will certainly stay again if the opportunity arises.

Stayed a couple nights here. Second time over the past few years. Bathrooms have been renovated since our last stay. The outside looks a bit desolate and unloved. Friendly staff. We had a very spacious room. Beds are firm as too the pillows. Bedding is a bit easy to get tangled up in if you're a restless sleeper like me - too much happening there ??. Multi language TV channels. Breakfast only gets a pass. The room itself is very large and a bit impersonal. Bit of music would give it a more friendly atmosphere. Breakfast options too far spread across the room. Staff were quite noisy clearing tables around us (throwing dirty cuttlery into plastic boxes) and clanking of plates, doesn't make for a pleasant quiet breakfast. Bowls provided for cereals are far too small and impractical and the milk and yoghurt too far away across the room. Coffee from self-service machine not the best, verging on unpleasant. Free shuttle service into the historical centre is great, just make sure to make a reservation for it. Plenty of free car parking at the hotel. The location of the hotel is situated in an industrial park off of the highway.

Warm welcome from reception staff. Upgraded to a Superior Room which was very spacious. Industrial location but ideal base for exploring area. Enjoyable drive to Lake Garda. Breakfast was lovely and only 4 Euro each if not included in your room rate. Hotel provides a shuttle bus into the Centre of Verona. Lady Driver a bit abrupt!! Shame because rest of staff so pleasant and helpful. We would most definitely stay here again when visiting Verona.

the TA reviewers who read my reviews know that i always do my research carefully before making a reservation, and this applies to this BW. Having made my reservation I contacted the hotel directly to a: request a mobility assistance twin room, b: information on airport transfers, and c: the hotel shuttle service into the city. I received a very courteous response within 24 hours with all the information i required. Our flight into Verona was slightly delayed, but our transfer driver was in arrivals waiting for us with a smile. Within 15 minutes we were outside the hotel. The cost (aug 2018) was 30 euros plus tip. The hotel is a large modern multi story property situated on the edge of the city, close to the main auto routes. The surrounding area is either industrial/out of town shopping and includes a cinema complex. Their is a McDonalds just over 5 minutes walk away. The hotel offers a bar, restaurant, fitness centre etc. Check-in was done by a very helpful receptionist (sorry i cannot remember her name) but she supplied all the help and information we required. Reservations were made for the free city shuttle service, the evening opera shuttle service, and for our departure 3 days later to Verona train/bus station. Maps, information etc were all supplied no problem. Our room on the 3rd floor was spacious, mobility assistance bathroom, flat screen tv, tea/coffee facilities, plenty of wardrobe space etc. Their is also a safe that is free of charge to use. breakfast at the most amazing cost of 3 euros per person (aug 2018) was an absolute bargain. Juices, tea/coffee, fresh fruits, various breads and cakes, cereals etc. The hot option is limited to boiled eggs, scrambled eggs and those daft little hot dog sausages. However, their is an excellent selection of hams, meats and cheeses. The restaurant also serves dinner each evening. Because of the lack of cafes, restaurants etc, the restaurant does get busy, and it was extremely busy the first night we stayed. However, the service was fine, but the food was only average. The lasagne was not good and disappointing. However, the starter was good and tasty. Perhaps it depends which chef is on that evening. Looking around the busy restaurant, the clientele all seemed happy, and their were lots of good food comments, so perhaps we chose badly. The shuttle service into the city, to the opera etc, is one of the attractions of this large chain hotel. The service was operated professionally by courteous and helpful drivers. The service even at peak times operated on time. For the shuttle back from the opera at half past midnight, the driver waited an extra 10 minutes for the last of the opera goers to get back to the shuttle bus. Two notes: A: book your shuttle places at check-in or risk the service being full. B: i know the service is offered free, but apart from ourselves, not once did i see anyone else tip any of the drivers. Shame on those people who didnt tip - especially on the return opera service at gone midnight! Check-out was quick and courteous - the happy male receptionist even confirmed that the shuttle driver would drop us off at the bus/train station - which is a few minutes drive from the official city centre stop. Excellent - thank you for that extra service with a smile! Overall we were very very pleased with our stay at the CTC, and if our travels brought us back to the city, we would gladly forgo staying in the city centre, and stay at the CTC once more.

Stayed for 3 nights last week having booked two rooms . I was very impressed with hotel receptionist Ilaria who was very helpful in explaining things in good English. She booked us a free shuttle bus and explained and answered all of our questions and concerns. Credit has to be given here as she stands out for me . Excellent service. Thanks. Rooms were very big and the sleep was excellent. Free internet,safe, coffee making kit, free mini bar, breakfast was ok and just 10 minutes from town centre. Free shuutle bus was used by my family every evening which meant I could leave the car and have a good drink. Although the distance was not too convenient from town, this hotel is excellent for large groups I was particularly impressed by their cheerful & courteous service (from day one when 33 of us arrived every staff we met was smiling at us!) and honesty - cos one of our friends had left over €1000 in the safe of her room, only to realise 3 hours after our departure out of Verona. We rushed back and was impressed by the service of the staff. The rooms are well maintained and clean. Every one was smiling and greeting us. And the breakfast is simply awesome! Good experience.

We were looking for a beautiful hotel a bit away from Verona city but with easy access to the city, and that is what we got. The room was beautiful and big. The staff were friendly and helpful. Taking the bus was nice and easy.

My wife and I absolutely enjoyed our stay at this hotel - the staff was very friendly and helpful, we appreciated the free shuttle to get downtownso we could leave our car at the hotel (free parking !!!). The breakfast was SUPERB - nice vaiety and everythign very fresh and delicious ! We will definitely be back !

This was the hotel for our tour group and I would not have asked for more! The rooms are classy, bathroom has a regular shower and rain shower, beds were comfortable, with a move selection of tv channels, a breath taking view of sun rise, great selection for buffet breakfast, and an electrical tea kettle in the room!!!!

Stayed here in May 2018, where can I start, upon arrival the staff were truly wonderful, we arrived at 11:30 check in time as usual 14:00 we thought try and drop our bags and disappear for a couple of hours, we will have your room available in 5-10 mins if that's Ok, Thankyou very much, we have a Free Shuttle bus that takes you into Verona if you are interested, but you have to book it, can I book it now,please, yes of course, we have return times of 15:15 or 19:15 we also can take you in at 19:00 and pick up is at 22:30, hey Thankyou very much, breakfast was continental which was fine with the usual and added scrambled egg and bacon etc etc, room was a lovely size with a huge shower, bidet and a big deep sink, all very nice, a king size bed with lots of space and wardrobes all topped off with Dressing gowns and slippers ( but you have to ask for them ) and what do you have, a great place to stay, Great Staff, Great Service Great Place...

This hotel offered us many good things such: - A free shuttle to go from/to Verona. If you think it's too far from the city this helps a lot. - Big room with comfortable 1,5m bed and amenities such as free coffee or tea. - Nice breakfast buffet. Recepcionists were friendly and helpful. They called the shuttle driver to solve an issue we had.

High standard and nice staff, good breakfast and price worth overal. Location is good if you do not like to stay in the nearest center. Easy to find and good parking. Checking staff is very helpful and give you good advise for oppertuinities in Verona.

Try the Salmon - great price for a lovely meal, well presented, great service. This is a good place to stay or visit if you have a hire car. Not so easy if using public transport. Good place to stay if you want to be near the Mall.

This is a very good hotel outside midtown. Clean big room with a nice bathroom, friendly service and good food, shuttle is access, but it is better, if you have a car. There are supermarkets and cinema nearby.

The hotel seems to had better days.I stayed 3 nights with a tour group.The two good things about this hotel are the size and comfort of the room ,and the location close to main highways.That is probably why many of the guests are big tourist groups.Our first breakfast there was a disaster,people were running all over the place trying to find where everything is,long lines near the coffee machine,while the waiters seemed to be overwelmed by the pressure.The dinning room need to be orgenized and be able to serve so many people at one time.It is far from being classy,and to be in Italy and drink coffee from an automat machine,that is a shame.Where i come from, a 4 star hotel serves a much better breakfast,and coffee is served to the table by a waiter.But as I say this hotel is fit for big tourist buses,and i guess they get a good deal on the price. The elevators are old and slow and trying to go down when all this tourists are going down with their suitcases,you give up and go down from the 5th floor by foot.We were served dinner by a special order to our group and this too was poor,The food was nothing to write home about,very basic and nothing italian about it.There was always not enough food for all of us and they had to run and prepare more items while we were waiting.

Without a car you are confined to solitude. There should be around 3 small daily shuttles to Verona and back which are booked in advance. The hotel is located in an industrial comunal area of a neighboring village, close enough to a big shopping mall incl. Decathlon, but you'll still need a car. It was cold (12 C outside at night) but no heating devices worked, lucky for us we found another blanket and entered the bed with warm clothes. I believe a 4 stars hotel should provide better conditions. But the room was big and clean, likewise was the bathroom. Breakfast was excellent, and staff's attitude was positive, kind and professional. Wifi worked w/o problems as well For us the location was perfect, it enabled us to easily and quickly reach all the relevant highways. Next time we'll bring warm pajamas.

We have been in this hotel some years back when it was called the tryp hotel under Melia company now it's a Best Western 4 stars hotel excellent including their restaurant at least you know that you will be serve like a VIP the servers are very friendly also they want to be sure that you like the food you order!! The hotel reception outstanding friendly atmosphere I will return there in the future

We stayed here over a weekend. The hotel was very easy to find and we were very quickly checked in. Our room was enormous and as well as a comfortable bed, and good modern bathroom, it had a comfy sofa, two chairs, a desk and chair and a lot of space to move around - very impressive. The hotel runs a free shuttle into town which was very efficient and runs at many different times. The restaurant was good having a selection of different choices, and breakfast was amazing value at 3 Euros. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice to find hotel with day-use. But a bit strange to get a room for in invalids. No service at the bar, difficult to get something to eat when you arrive after Breakfast. Service really can be better

The service provided by the staff was outstanding. The rooms were spacious and clean and had coffee-making facilities and aircondition. The buffet breakfast was simply mouth-watering. The surroundings were very quiet.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The room and bedroom was massive and we were impressed with how clean and tidy it all was. Although the hotel is about 3 miles from the centre of Verona, they did offer a free shuttle service which was basically a 8 person taxi which dropped you into town. We had no issues with booking and used this service most days. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and it really felt like a home from home.

The staff were very friendly, helpful and flexible to my needs. I emailed them beforehand than my plane will arrive at 10am in Verona and I might need to check in early for me to explore the city. I arrived earlier than the scheduled check-in time and they allowed me to check in without a hassle. The room was massive for me as I travelled alone and it's a good value for the money especially if you're travelling with someone else. There is a shuttle that goes from the hotel to the city centre and back which is a great idea so the guests can just sit back and relax after a whole day of sightseeing. You need to pay an additional €3 for the breakfast but it is worth it. They also allowed me to check out the night before I leave so that I will just be able to leave the hotel in peace the day of my flight. Thank you for a lovely stay in Verona!

Would recommend it both for those with or without a car - huge car park.

Just stopped one night at this hotel on the way to Lake Garda, had a family room for 4. Nice warm welcome by receptionist, room was massive & well equipped. Receptionist gave excellent recommendations for evening in Verona which us a short drive away. Location of this hotel is on the outskirts next to the autostrada (not a pretty location but convenient). Great value breakfast at just €3 each. Thought this was good value for the quality of facilities.

Excellent value for money. Fabulous shuttle bus service to the Verona Arena for late night opera. Shuttle bus in at 7pm and collected 30mins after end of opera at 12.30am. Will use again. Booked on official website which was running special offers. Very helpful concierge who printed out opera tickets and sorted out aircon.

Hotel is nice, friendly atmosphere and very clean. As it was very warm, it would have been very to have a pool to relax. Breakfast could be upgraded. Near downtown but not walking distance. I would recommend this hotel.

A real hotel as one would imagine, loaded with services and great air conditioning. Very close to the high roads. Friendly staff and an enormous chopping center nearby, which also applies to, of course, the old city of Verona. The breakfast is very affordable and is amazingly extended. We will come back to this one!

Offering great value compared with other options in Verona, this hotel offers an excellent option to staying city centre. Family of three, we had a lovely, quiet, comfortable room. The breakfast which cost an unbelievable €3 per person was outstanding. Hot & cold foods of every type, good coffee, fruit, yogurt, pastries, salad, cheeses, breads, cakes, cereals, yogurts - everything. The free shuttle bus into Verona centre was so so handy & punctual. Book in advance at reception to ensure a seat. Handy return 30 minutes after the performances in the Arena is such a good offer. Would definitely return to stay.

Everything is good in this hotel except for low quality selections at breakfast buffet which only costs 3 euro. Nice modern large clean room with big TV screen and about 6 English channels. Lots of parking and the best is the free shuttle to Verona center at about every 2 hours.

Really good Hotel, with a complete breakfast for 3 euro and a safe integrated into room key system. With the help of wonderfully friendly cleaning staff, we were able to get into our rooms when we arrived early. If there was a little more capacity on the free bus into Verona, it would have been a perfect stay.

This large hotel is close to the main venice. Milan road but it is a little bit hard to get to among the many industrial units. it has a large free car park with a lift right up to your level we was floor 5. check in was fine we ordered a free shuttle to take us to the city of Verona and back (nice city) at an arranged time, there is a laundry service but it is not in house, the hotel room was large and well appointed looked quite fresh and new with an opening windows plus air conditioning .the good sized shower room was nice and the bed was comfortable a good sized safe two chairs with a work desk and free wi fi and a fridge the breakfast was only 3 euros each and was good with a big choice of hot and cold items complete with nice cakes to finish off with this is a really nice hotel at a reasonable price

Well located and easy acces by car. Free parking. Free shuttle to the arena. Need to reserve your seat at the front desk. Don't wait at your way back, it's 15 Euros to come back by yourself by taxi from the arena. The room are cleaned and nice size for Europe. The breakfast is very good, lot of choice. The coffee is hummm!.

The Best Western CTC Hotel is a great find and has everything you need for a holiday or business trip. I've been staying here over the last few months and its perfect for my needs. Its situated very close to the A4 so getting to and from meetings was easy, but not too close that it becomes a disturbance. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the rooms are large and spacious offering TV, ensuite, power shower, room service and free wifi. The rooms are cleaned daily and to an excellent standard. All the staff from reception, restaurant and bar are very friendly and polite and always seem happy to see you. The food in the restaurant is fantastic and very well priced in comparison to similar hotels of its kind, and the breakfast buffet is the best offering a selection of something for everyone. My personal favorite was the scrambled eggs which are perfect. I would certainly recommend the Best Western CTC to anybody stopping in or around Verona and will keep visiting it while it continues to provide great service and value. 10/10

Stayed here for one night with the family (and dog). Reception was helpful and friendly. Large open space parking in front of hotel which is locked after midnight. Very spacious rooms, we were on the eighth floor and had an amazing view over Verona! Everything clean, good beds, complimentary water in the fridge, fast and free wifi. Only annoyance was that the controls of the AC did not work, but we could open a window which was nice but ended up being loud next to the highway...Location is great if you're on the run and need a good value, pet friendly place to stay overnight. In a country that is not well-equipped to handle larger groups (anything over 2 people, lol), this Hotel was a relief! Situated on a large property (free parking), our room for 5 was clean, quite large, fast, free WiFi, spacious bathroom, terrific, usable amenities, a refrigerator stocked with bottled water and super comfortable mattresses. At night, while hotel is in a safe area, it is a little isolated, but we had a car and went to a very good nearby local place recommended by hotel staff. The breakfast was quite amazing with a variety of food and beverages that was jaw-dropping, not to mention delicious! Loved it and will return!

Fairly standard business hotel nothing to shout about. Rooms are large and comfy. Double bed comfy pillows ok. Shower in bath but huge shower head in roof sprinkles all of you at once whilst in the shower. Downside you are 15 mins from centre of Verona and best sights and restaurants. View from room is of motorway traffic and a haulage yard. Breakfast self serve but very basic and entirely Continental. Juice is squash heavily watered or meat ay more for freshly squeezed OJ. Plenty to tuck into but not awfully inspiring.

The hotel is great! Rooms are big and spacey, bathrooms fully equipped with soap,towels etc and in general all spaces are clean. Breakfast was a great surprise to us as it contained everything, and i mean everything! I found the prices great given the quality of all services even though we booked in a fully touristic season. Definitely stay there

nice hotel we stayed overnight before travelling home.waiter reminded us all of the waiter on fawlty towers only because he was trying his best to do everything which appeared to be at top speed.he should be commended for trying to get everything right. air con in the room didnt appear to be effective so called room service- it is controlled by the person in charge downstairs - when asked they did adjust it otherwise I wouldnt have been able to sort out the issue using the broken controls in the bed room. very clean room bathroom was lovely,the view wasn't an issue as only staying for one night but it wasn't the best. food was nice although limited choice for us in a touring group but they did provide an alternative for me as i didn't like the choices given. nice bar and lounge pool looked nice but was unable to use it due to our short stay would recommend for over night / short stay.

Perfect for visiting Verona and surrounding area. Out of city, but shuttle bus is regular and easy to book - even for the opera in the evening. Was asked at check in when we needed to book it. Reception staff very helpful and friendly. Room was large, modern, very clean. Only slight problem is that noise from neighbours seems to travel through ducting for extractor in bathroom so can be loud. Nice modern terrace to bar. Breakfast room very big, so always space. Selection good. Great pizza place round the corner called Opera. Recommended by hotel. Plenty of car parking. Supermarket and shopping mall in also round the corner.

Stayed here for a Trade show in Verona. Was surprised at the room size and how quickly it was to reach everything from here. Great Bonus was the free shuttle service provided by the Hotel to the Old part of town. Can only recommens to stay

Hotel located some 15 to 20 minutes taxi ride from Verona airport and the city centre. The latter is served by a regular free shuttle bus service. Our room was spacious and comfortable with all the expected amenities. We didn't eat in this hotel other than breakfast. Sadly, this was mediocre with little choice beyond cold meats and omelette strips. The best aspect of this hotel is the reception staff. They were outstanding in every respect. Nothing was too much to ask from them. They were professional, friendly, responsive and extremely helpful. They exceeded our expectations.

Hiii, i have been to italy for stone fair for business purpose...we stayed in this hotel for 3 days...staff is good and only problem we have is breakfast as we cannot fine indian vegetarian food...hotel services is good and ambiance is also good...

Well it s a nice hotel,no luxury, but it s ok. I mean the rooms are big, with ac, it s clean. The breakfast is also good and very cheap. The only bad thing would be the fact that you ll need some transportation to get to Verona and it s near the highway...but well that didn t bother us that much. What i didn t like about the hotel was the bad wi fi signal, but this isn t such a big deal.

This hotel is "to forget" on our list. On arrival, we couldn't enter the room. We had to run down twice from the eighth floor to the reception, and only on third time they've acknowledged having problem with doors. 40 min later got a room with 3 beds on a second floor. It is dated, doesn't smell clean, pillows are old, bathroom is old and not functional. The only breakfast was ok. Shame for this hotel chain.

We arrived late after a great opera concert at Verona coliseum...no food, no room service, no vending machines, no minibar, no advise boutique no water in the hotel....room was ok...front desk is located at 2nd floor, not handicap friendly, must take a ramp with a big loop....access at ground level was close and no way to take elevator....easy to park...the location is VERY FAR FROM DOWNTOWN VERONA!!! good for conventions...not for regular travelers...

We needed a descent hotel with descent price and found this on Expedia. Since we rented a car, we didn't necessarily want to pay extra just to be near the center of Verona and also, it was nice to be able to get in and out onto the Autostradas. We used this hotel as a jumping off point to go visit Lake Garda and then visit Verona on our way back to Venice to get on a cruise. Worked out quite wel! The hotel was clean and the rooms were "American" size which worked out well for the four of us. The breakfast spread was awesome which is way better than the typical continental Best Western buffets we find here in the US. Worth the price we paid!

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a package for a concert at the Arena. I was slightly put off arriving to overflowing ash trays at the entrance and smeary windows - but these are 2 of my pet hates! The rooms were clean and functional, and bathroom and amenities ok. Views were dismal but you are situated on a busy main road, next to industrial and shopping areas. We didn't manage to find space on the free shuttle, but the Reception staff were really helpful and suggested taxi shares on a couple of occasions. Breakfast was acceptable, cappuccinos and brown seedy croissants were good. Let's face it, Verona is a beautiful city, and this hotel is a 10 minute drive outside, so if you're looking for a budget hotel whilst passing through it is probably ideal. We won't return - unless it is part of the incredible deal we got with the last minute theater break - they are some beautiful and much more expensive places in Verona itself, which is well worth a visit.

This hotel is a little out of the way of the centre of Milan and probably more suited to business clientèle than tourist. That said there is a shuttle to and from the centre of the city every couple of hours. You have to book on this though. The receptionist was incredibly helpful and provided us with a map and all the detail we needed. The room was pretty dated, but very clean. Only provided with one pillow. Breakfast was pretty good. Wifi was good. Overall, good value.

Would not recommend this hotel if you don't have a car. The 'shuttle' that is advertised for this hotel is actually just a large taxi that seats 7 people which goes into Verona twice a day. We stayed at this hotel on a weekend that it was sold out due to the Adele concert, and could not get a seat on the 'shuttle' any day that we needed it nor were the staff very accommodating in trying to find alternatives. There was a separate shuttle running for the concert, that left at 6.30pm and returned after the concert however we also couldn't get on this shuttle as you had to come back to the hotel to catch it to the concert in order to use it after the concert. As we were spending the day in Verona it was pointless to return just to get a shuttle back to the city after the concert??!! I have also ranked the cleanliness low, not because the hotel was not clean - it was very clean in all areas of the hotel we went to - however the cleaners for our room decided to throw out toiletries that we had left on the sink/bedside cabinet. This included a strip of daily contact lenses, moisturiser, shower gel, and shampoo. When we rang down to reception to advise we were told the night staff couldn't do anything but that they would have an update for us before we left - not surprisingly, the staff who checked us out knew nothing of what we were saying and as we checked out early to catch a train they said we would get a call - 24 hours later and still no word from the hotel. The breakfast is by far the best thing about this hotel, and the room size was really good for 3 people sharing - three single beds were in the room and we still had loads of room - but I'm sure other hotels that are more central can also provide this for you.

I would highly recommend Best Western CTC Verona for business trip, especially if you have to go Fiere Verona. They offer shuttle bus from/to convention, and also downtown Verona. Room is clean and quiet; and there is a shopping mall with supermarket and mini food-court just 5 mins walk. You can get everything you need.

My husband and I stayed there for three nights and were delighted with all aspects of this hotel. The room was spacious, clean, well appointed and with a very comfortable bed. The amenities included a gym, free parking, excellent breakfasts and a free shuttle into the city of Verona. But the best quality was the professional, courteous staff. They were helpful, no query was too difficult and truly made the stay pleasant. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We stayed here on a trip thru the area in March. The rooms were pleasantly appointed, large, clean, and the bathroom was great. The bed was a little hard for my tastes but I'm sure some would appreciate it. The restaurant was good and the wait staff was very helpful.

This hotel is excellent! Available options include a smoking or non smoking room. Free Wi-Fi, parking and breakfast included. The rooms were spacious and clean. Only point would be the shower, since the shower head is fixed to the ceiling. Also, although the hotel offers a shuttle service into Verona center, check the times, because seats are limited and booking in advanced is necessary. This is a great service that you don't see in too many hotels that are located just outside the big city. To sum up, if you can spare the money, this is a great hotel!

Stayed at a wonderful Best Western last night near Modena. Had them book a Best Western near Verona for last minute change of plans tonight. Had trouble with their Wi-Fi last night and this morning trying to find hotel on my own. Totally regret not trying to muddle through the Wi-Fi. No aircon because start of the heat season and awful traffic noise through open window. Thin thin walls. Limited shuttle service.

We were for few days in Verona this summer. The city is perfect, we love it so much! This tiem we were in BW CTC hotel outside the city. This is just nearby the highway good connection to all directions but a bit noisy. The city is for 20 min, but the connection is good and no huge traffic at any time. This is our second stay here - last was still before BW - but I have to say nothing special. Average. The rooms can be more clean, modern but I would not say is dirty and ungly. Outside is more an industiral area and also the hotel could be a bit more modern and renovated. So, I would not say bad or not good, but could be better. Tha staff is ok! You can decide to stay or not average cost for average value...

The hotel is located a little outside Verona near the highway. The hotel offers free shuttle service to the city and back, but we didn't use it since we came by car anyway. The breakfast was good with a lot of choice and friendly staff. The sound insulation against outside traffic was good, but indoor noise was noticeable. I heard the guest next door yawn, sneeze and snore. Maybe because of the (locked, of course) connecting door. I guess you have to roll your dice. There's a restaurant nearby called Pepperone which we visited; maybe you want to check it out as an alternative for dinner.

This is far from the main city centre and university. The hotel staff were courteous. NOT MANY VEGETARIAN items in Break fast or meals- they do not know anything about it! Difficult to come in late hours. Room was clean. Bath room - problems w.r.t bath tub, wash basin, etc

We were at this hotel for a brief overnight stopover on our way south, and the location off the highway was convenient for our purposes. The outside of the hotel, the lobby and common areas look like a throwback from the sixties that haven't been refurbished since. In general it has the look and feel that it has been largely abandoned by its management. The rooms however, are clean, spacious and well maintained, clearly refurbished in the last couple of years, complete with either new of deeply cleaned carpets. We arrived late, close to midnight - and it is worth noting that although it says room service/bar until 12, these shut up shop much earlier. Driving around we found a small fast food cafe that had some greasy snacks, but if you are planning to arrive late - eat first, or at least bring provisions. For an overnight stay, it was fit for purpose and we had a comfortable night's sleep. Check out is as simple as handing the card in and parking directly in front of the hotel.
