Thankful for a place to stay that doesn't accept animals! Due to allergies, people just don't understand how important this is to me! The area didn't really feel that safe to me, but that's no fault of the hotel. I would have loved to have enjoyed the hot tub, but traveling alone and the surroundings discouraged me. SO awesome the man who made a fresh pot of organic coffee for my to-go mug!!
The rooms have been remodeled and are beautiful, very warm and inviting. In room amenities especially the coffee maker were great. A very good breakfast selection was available and the staff were super friendly. Property was clean and neat.
The bed was awful. Everything else was fine but the bed either makes or ruins the vaca if you ask me. Would be fine for one night if you had to stop on the way to going somewhere. But id probably try somewhere else first if I wanted a good nights rest.
Room was spacious — decor & aesthetic had a modern appeal. Hotel/motel has an interesting history as it has been updated throughout the years. You can see inside lobby. Even though it is situated on a busy district— things were very quiet and we slept so soundly. A very walkable distance to area restaurants & cafes.
A nice place to rest your head on a journey. The property was clean and well kept. The staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious however I would suggest a low sugar option for one of the juices and maybe zero sugar yogur for the diabetic crowd.
What a great find! Spacious rooms. Super clean, lovely breakfast offerings, one of the most comfortable beds I have slept on. There's a few pool, laundry, hot tub! This may be rated as a 2 star Best Western but as far as we were concerned it was definitely a 5 star plus!
We stayed one night in St George on the way from the Grand Canyon and Page area to Las Vegas. This is a great little hotel at a very reasonable price. As a family of 5 it can sometimes be tricky to find a room that will fit us all; the room we booked had 2 queen beds and a double so there was plenty of space. The room also had a coffee maker, fridge with a small freezer compartment, and a microwave. The beds were comfy and the room was lovely and clean. The pool area, despite being next to the road, is fantastic. The free breakfast was great also, my kids especially enjoyed the waffle makers :-) Nothing negative to say at all!
Wonderful hosts, so friendly. The room was exceptional. Very spacious. All amenities in room. Fridge, microwave, large vanity area, keurig coffee maker, beds high-end. Breakfast was huge and delicious. I recommend Aiden hotel 100%!!!
We had a nice stay at the Aiden by Best Western. We stayed one night on our way from Las Vegas to Zion National Park. The hotel looks a little older on the outside, but the rooms had been updated and were very clean and comfortable. Check in was easy. We appreciated the free drinks for Best Western members. The breakfast was good with a nice variety of foods. We also visited the Red Rock Gardens across the way which were beautiful!
The overall room was great! But the A/C was too loud and the control needed batteries but overall very nice, delicious breakfast . Beautiful pool , clean reception, nice people. Very good breakfast very delicious very comfortable beds and pillows .
Great, cute and quiet! We loved the clean, recently decorated, and perfect sized tooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful! The pool was fun and relaxing. We had a fun time and it was close to everything we planned on doing. They serve a decent breakfast but don't go too close to the time they quit serving.
The Aiden by Best Western in St. George is a charming boutique motel which was once a 'mom and pop' motel. It has been thoughtfully updated while retaining the historic charm of the property. In the lobby is a collection of historic photos of the motel and its previous owners who had tremendous pride of ownership. The front desk personnel and breakfast attendants were friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable, the internet speedy and the breakfast delicious. I stay here at least twice per year. I highly recommend this motel.
The family room setup with two queens and a sofa bed area worked out pretty good for us. The decor is nice, along with the Directv setup, staff was very sweet too.
Friendly staff, upgraded our room on arrival to a larger bed. At breakfast the lady behind the counter came and refunded us $30 because she enjoyed our company in the inn so much and so did the other guests. She also gave us token koozies and stickers. We loved this inn. It was clean and cosy and definitely would stay here again
There are so many things to love about this place! From the moment we walked into the lobby, it was warm, welcoming and staff was wonderful! The lobby is adorable:) Rooms were clean, beds comfortable and the room was nicely decorated. Although we didn't use the pool, it looked amazing. Breakfast is free, and they offer a nice variety of food. An important factor for me, is the quality of the coffee. Their coffees are really good, and they have a great selection! We would definitely stay at The Aiden Best Western again when visiting Utah!
I typically stay at more expensive places but I really like this locally owned hotel and, though the rooms are small, they are squeaky clean and well maintained.
We really loved the room. Updated, modern, clean. Breakfast was good. Front desk help was very friendly. Would stay again. Seemed a little pricy though.
The stay at this Best Western was very pleasant. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The room including the bathroom were spotless. The beds were clean and comfortable. Plenty of towels were in the room. We would definitely stay here again.
The property was very family friendly! Room was very clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. The shower was great. We loved having a mini fridge and microwave. The pool was lovely. The free bikes and free board games were a great amenity. The hot breakfast was one of the best we've had at any hotel. Our daughter loved finding the hidden flamingo in our room for a prize.
I always stay here when I am in the St George area. The staff is always very friendly and the rooms are clean. My grandson loves the pool. It is right on St George Blvd and conveniently located to everything.
The motel was nothing like the photos online. Parking is very limited and small for our pickup and little pull trailer. Room had a very peculiar smell and felt unclean- room was laid out weird and hotel not that easy to get to. Probably won't ever stay here again
Aiden made all the difference! What a unique motel. Great breakfast, great beds, great TV, centrally located to all the great restaurants and shopping! The staff was so helpful and kind! We had a wonderful time!!
Had a great experience here. Everything was in working order, grateful for a hideaway bed in the room, cute pool, nice beds, great place, just a small bathroom. The bathroom is nice and renovated, just a little small.
We are a mature aged couple who decided to visit the ST George UT area for a few days. We elected to stay at The Aiden as it is well placed in the City and included all the amenities that we needed. The Internet connection was easy, fast and worked perfectly. This Hotel provided an EXCELLENT full Breakfast. We particularly enjoyed the Waffles and the wonderful "real" Oatmeal as well as the Eggs and Bacon. It was all good!!!!!! The staff were EXCELLENT, very friendly and helpful. We plan on returning to St George and the AIDEN by Best Western will definitely be our Hotel of choice. Cheers Rod
The room was very clean and comfortable, but there was a lot of noise during the night from both the air conditioner and street. The location is convenient and there are many restaurants nearby to choose from. It served the purpose for us for one night, but I would have chosen another hotel if I was staying longer.
The hotel has vintage decor and is well maintained. Really friendly staff when we arrived and in the morning when we had breakfast. We expected a simple breakfast but it really exceeded our expectations.
This place was awesome! First off, the atmosphere at the pool is fantastic. The kids loved playing on the large inflatable flamingo (Melvin). There are lights above the pool at night and awesome mood music. It made the place stand out from a lot of others we stayed in. The rooms were super clean and smelled good. My oldest was thrilled when they found a little toy Melvin hidden in the room that she could turn in for a prize. Not only did he give her one, but he gave my other two kids a prize as well. It meant so much to them. Breakfast was fantastic. They really worked hard to make it nice. Then on top of it, I had to print a couple of pages off for my trip. The guy at the desk dropped what he was doing to help me and make sure I got the pages printed off that I needed. The only thing we didn't like was the taste of the tap water in our room, but that's hardly their fault. If I'm ever in the area again, I'd stay there again for sure.
Absolutely delightful hotel! Quirky 50's vibe with modern conveniences. Room as awesome! Pool and jacuzzi was wonderful! Am recommending to anyone driving through St. George. We typically stay at Marriotts during our travel - and this was even better!
We were traveling back to Salt Lake City from Gilbert, AZ for my mother in law's funeral and stopped in St. George to sleep as we were all extremely tired. I had read great reviews on this hotel so we thought we would give it a try. We had the room with 2 queen beds and a sofa bed and it was nice and spacious for our family of 4. We arrived at the hotel at 1:30am and the front desk staff member was super bubbly, friendly, and professional. He got us into our room quickly and we were all able to get to sleep quickly. The beds were comfortable, the AC worked really well and kept us nice and cool, and we all slept great! We loved all the available amenities but did not have time to enjoy them as we had to get on the road to complete the rest of our drive. We will definitely be back to this hotel and make sure we will stay a couple days so we can enjoy the great amenities!
They hide a flamingo in the room and then the kids get a prize bag. Breakfast was great! Owners take extra care here. Wish there were more people Iike that. It's a smaller place with one floor so we could park right by our room. Great rooms for a family of 6.
Comfortable, clean beds; roomy showers with great water pressure, wonderful breakfast layout, but the thing that sets this place apart from all others is the staff. In our two stays here over the last two years, we have come across the kindest staff.
We really enjoyed staying here. It is right on St. George Blvd., and close to lots of fun places to eat, museums, activities, history, etc. Everyone we interacted with, whether it was checking in and out, or helping at breakfast, was really friendly and helpful. I also loved my free Lester's Lemonade! We will definitely stay here again.
Stayed on my way to Las Vegas. If you are traveling on I15, the location is excellent. The staff there is great. Friendly and hardworking. Rooms were completely clean. And the parking lot area was clean as well. It is a small hotel, but still had good hot complimentary breakfast and a modest, but nice and well maintained pool. My only complaint about the rooms is that there is not much of a barrier between the bathroom (sliding door) and bathroom sink (no barrier) and the living area so keep that in mind depending on who you are traveling with. Overall great stay. And a great value for the awesome staff, location, and amenities.
Fantastic staff will make you feel welcome! Breakfast was excellent. Loved the theme of the motel and would go again in a heartbeat. Room was clean. Pool was awesome. Very convenient location. Every need was tended to in a timely manner!!!!!
this is a great little updated place to stay that is reasonable to boot! We have loved our stays at the Aiden by Best Western. The staff is friendly and it's conveniently located to all the fun to be had in St. George.
Guest rooms were comfortable with good bedding, good bath linens and clean. Breakfast offered good choices and was very fresh. The location is convenient, a few blocks off I-15. The only drawback is the main street beside the hotel is noisy and busy.
Everything you need for a night or more. The room seemed newly renovated and the decor was very modern. The room had a microwave, fridge and a safe. There was laundry on the property as well as breakfast. The located is close to many good restaurants and hiking trails.
Clean, comfortable, and nicely updated. Bathroom door was a barn door. While it was cute, it was slightly uncomfortable having 4 people in the room. We did have the pull out couch bed, so a regular door would have limited space. So, I guess it's understandable, but still.
My wife and I travel cross country twice a year. Once form the East to the West and then back again. We stayed at this hotel last year...and loved it. It's a Boutique Best Western experience. The motel is single story, quaint, in a great part of town, and the service is amazing. We had a clean room, nicely decorated, a hand written note upon our arrival...and for our our 1 night stay we couldn't have asked for anything more. I'm sure next year we will come back as we journey through life.
We enjoyed the friendly staff, clean room, and warm breakfast. The Aiden concept is a great one and the updated Motor Lodge is fun. The lobby hosted the warm breakfast ( DIY waffles, yogurt bar, oatmeal, fresh fruits, eggs, sausage, biscuits &gravy…) and offered a Soda Fountain menu with flavored sodas and floats.
Excellent over the top helpful staff and clean, quiet rooms centrally located near all attractions. Great value! Quaint rooms, nice restaurant across the street and hotel serves hearty breakfast for big boys and girls. Many choices and I liked the crispy waffles. I would like to return.
Nice hotel. Recently renovated older facility. Felt clean and comfortable. In spite of being on a very busy road, the hotel property was quiet and peaceful. Breakfast had enough options for everyone in my party to fill up on something they liked.
My husband and I stumbled on this Best Western - (we always stay at a Best Western). The Aiden by Best Western was amazing! It is all ground-floor rooms; no stairs to climb. Everything was so clean and our room was well supplied with everything we needed. Their complimentary breakfast was more than I could have asked for and the main hot portion was different each morning. The staff were kind and made sure that we had everything we needed. Awesome place.
Polite, attentive and courteous staff, good value for your money, food is good. beds are very comfortable and bathrooms are modern and updated. location is walking distance to some good restaurants. Great hotel!
The good: Easy check in, polite desk clerk, this was an older but clean motel that had been recently remodeled. Beds were comfortable, nice TV , nice hot tub and pool. Breakfast was decent. The bad: Close to the road and a lot of road noise, and the first day we were there we got a warm bath and shower but not a hot one. We talked to the desk clerk the next day but he was not helpful.
Stayed at Aiden with my husband and 4 kids. The room was tight, but still very comfortable. TV and cable worked great. Bathroom was very nice and updated. Beds (even the sofa bed) were comfortable. The front staff were wonderful and helpful! The swimming pool is large and fun. My kids could have enjoyed it for hours. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the way the AC and the beds were placed in the room. The person right next to the AC got all the cool air all night. The person at the back of the room was burning up all night. But that really wasn't that big of a deal.
Took others ratings as a hint and tried Aiden as our usual stop is BW closer to interstate. Aiden was smaller, one story, cleaner, cozier, and cheaper and well worth the change! Many restaurants nearby.
As soon as we walked in the room we thought it looked amazing. The outlay of the room the interior design and the cleansing this was awesome. I was in a hurry to get home from a long travel but was almost willing to stay an extra night because of how comfortable it was.
We had 22 people staying at the hotel for an 80th Birthday party for my Dad. Everyone was very happy with everything! The rooms and property are beautiful. We enjoyed breakfast, the pool and the pool area and were able to do so as a big group. The service was exceptional! Special shout out for Eva!
We found this location very convenient when traveling along the I-15 highway. Easy off/easy on. A wonderful variety of restaurants from which ti choose, many within walking distance. Rooms were neat and clean and quiet, for the most part. The motel is located in a busy part of town, but street noise subsided when it was time to sleep. Had great breakfast offerings, selections that would tend to satisfy anyone. What we found to be the standout, however, was the kind, courteous, accommodating team members. All were remarkably friendly and efficient. Very refreshing given the world in which we live, currently.
Nicely renovated property. Feels like a Boutique Hotel. Room very comfortable with all amenities. Comfortable beds, quiet location, but easy walk to Main Street. Staff extremely amicable./ helpful. Driving in, you wouldnt expect it to be as wondertas it is-truely a hidden gem!
Came to St George to see play at Tuachan. My husband had unexpected ER visit and hospital stay. Aiden staff was so helpful in helping me book an extra night and kept me in the same room! They were very kind. Breakfasts were great. Hotel felt very safe and I appreciate the extra time they took for me during this stressful time. We are loving the new changes and updates by Aiden Best Western! The beds and pillows are wonderful!
Recently renovated motel and it shows the care the owners put into it. This is more like a boutique motel. The rooms are beautiful and well designed. The bed was extremely comfortable with soft linens and ample pillows. The location is within walking distance to a cute downtown district where there is shopping and restaurants. The staff of the motel are exceptional and made us feel welcome.
That's right, they have a small soda fountain in the lobby when you walk in. I'm on a diet so I didn't have one but my wife is on Cheeto diet so you indulged.. lol Service was amazing and he was happy to help. Had amazing recommendations for place to eat. Room was super clean, well light and very comfortable. This is a must stay.
This was our first stay at an Aiden by BW, and we were very pleasantly surprised. BW is usually pretty consistent with their quality, and this stay was no exception. This hotel is a one level, which is great, for less people and no noise above. It appears to be a rehabbed hotel, and is fixed up very nicely. No sign of it being older; it is well designed and up to date completely. We were greeted and checked in by Eliza at the front desk. Very sweet young lady, and we chatted about the national parks in the area, as my husband and had just wrapped up a weekend trip to the parks. She made a recommendation to a restaurant in the area which was fantastic. The room seemed very clean, except a couple of area where some very minor dust had settled. Loved the Keurig in the room and the fact there were actual coffee cups instead of cardboard or styrofoam. The bed was extremely comfortable, and there was a variety of pillows on the bed, with a range in softness which was nice. The room had plenty of good lighting, which was great. Only drawback was the bathroom door which is a sliding door, not always allowing for complete privacy. We stayed during a very hot night, and the AC worked very well. A little noisy sometimes kicking off and on, but not a big deal. Breakfast in the morning was great. Fresh scrambled eggs, bacon, oatmeal (not sugary prepackaged either!!) bagels, toast, yogurt, waffles, coffee, juice. Eva was the desk attendant, very nice lady, and was excellent about making sure the breakfast was well stocked. Would definitely stay here again if we are in the area. It is away from a highway, although on a main street in town. Pretty quiet overall.
When I booked a room for one night in St. George, the person on the national 800 number mentioned the Aiden by BW. I selected it since I had not stayed at an Aiden and since it was less expensive. I don't know about other Aidens, but this one is an older motel that has been very nicely restored. Everything about our stay was top notch and at about $110 on a Sunday night, it was the least expensive of any of the hotels we'd stay in during out 10 day vacation. We like it so much we will probably return and base there for a long weekend visiting Zion and maybe Bryce
The location is great, and the renovation of this little motel is beautifully done. The Staff was incredibly friendly, and everything was good...until I came out of the shower and found a roach crawling around my bed. If it wasn't for the roach it would have been a four-star review. Make sure to keep your bags off the floor and check everything before you leave.
What a cute little hotel. Check in was quick and easy, our room was clean, nice and updated. We love that this is a smaller hotel. Great location, we didnt go to the pool but looked at it, very nice and clean. I cannot say enough good about this hotel. !!!
The hotel staff was nice and professional, the rooms were modern, comfortable, and clean. The shower was amazing. Breakfast was great, lots of options. Nice pool and hot tub. Can't beat it for the price. This is a must stay every time I travel through St. George.
Best hotel staff I have ever experienced. They were both so helpful, attentive and patient. We had 3 babies/toddlers with us and they were so helpful and good with them! It's also perfect location to the lovely downtown area! We will for sure stay here again!!
I was a bit nervous about this hotel as the price was so reasonable. However, I was very pleasantly surprised at the lovely room, with modern shower stall and very clean and neat. The pool was large for this small of a property, the hot tub was working and just the right temperature, the breakfast had a wide selection, and the root beer float I got on leaving was very good.
This was a very pleasant place to stay. The motel desk lady greeted us warmly, the breakfast had good choices, the pool was great and the room was comfortable. And best of all VERY AFFORDABLE. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Also many things to do in this area.
This older hotel has been upgraded & cleaned perfectly for a great value and convenient location! The Hotel staff is exceptional, & breakfast good! We would certainly stay here again when we return to St. George!
In the room, the ceilings were only 7 ft high. Didn't bother me cause I am short, but if you are taller than 6 ft anything you might be afraid of hitting your head on the ceiling if you, I don't know, jump? My room was downstairs, I don't know if the upstairs rooms are taller. Rooms were stylish and beds were comfortable. The darkening curtains did not go all the way across the window. There were sheen curtains that obstructed the view in, but it would have been nice to black out my room more to sleep better. Plenty of outlets for our phone cables that went right into a usb port into an alarm clock on the nightstand. Air conditioner worked well, if maybe a little loud. Wouldn't have compared it to a jet engine, but after it kicking on during sleeplessness that comes with staying somewhere other than your own home, it seems worse than it really was. The hot tub is an 8 foot hottub inside a 9 foot room. Almost sauna like, and the bubble function was crazy weird. It worked, but something was wrong with one of the jets and it sprayed out bubbles really forcefully. The pool is steep drop after 3 feet, but nice and warm in the St. George heat. A little dirty with leaves, but that's what happens with outdoor pools. Water was clean and clear. Breakfast was edible. Biscuits and gravy was... starchy? Sticky? hard to move around in the mouth, I've had better. The build your own parfait station was nice, but a few more options would have been better. Never would have thought to add mini chocolate chips in with strawberry yogurt. Pleasant surprise. Our party didn't really dive too deep into all the amenities, but it was a fine place to stay on the fly. Staff was friendly, lounging areas inside and outside were nice, not cheap chairs and tables. Location was nicely centralized to the places we needed to go, the road in and out wasn't crazy to try to get onto like you see in the big cities.
Stayed at this location for 3 nights and everything was perfect. From check-in to check-out was spot on! Gabby checked us in and with my BW platinum status offered a beverage from their selection. Breakfast each morning was perfect with lots of options to choose from. Eggs and either bacon or sausage, plenty of toast options as well as self made waffles, along with juices and coffee. Jesse was also very friendly and accommodating. This is the second year in a row we have visited St. George, mostly to see the excellent theatre productions at the amphitheater at Tuachan in the town just north in Ivins. Last year we stayed at the Best Western just down the road. No comparison. Will come back to the Aiden and no where else. Our king bedded room was clean and large and very comfortable. Thanks to the entire staff for an enjoyable stay!
From check-in to check-out our stay was excellent!!! The desk staff was professional and helpful. Very pleasant and offered us a drink for being Diamond members. The room was super clean and comfortable. I loved all the personal products. We had a nice breakfast including hot items. Very clean breakfast area. Wonderful stay!!! Thank you!
The fact that this is under the Best Western brand is incredibly surprising, but you should take advantage of it. Stylish furnishings, super clean and strong water pressure. Also close to a good mexican place and a chinese buffet. Throw in a free breakfasts and an incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Also SUPER fast internet. I got like 30 mps upload and download. And while they don't have a gym they do have a pool AND an arrangement with the gym around the corner. Great stay.
I am local to southern utah and always pass by this hotel. The pool is great and it's just been remodeled. My family and I decided to book the hotel for a staycation. There are lots of restaurants within walking distance and close to activities around StG. I'd highly recommend it.
Customer service was the best customer service i've received in a long time! The room was clean and loved the modern look to it! Great breakfast and nice pool/hot tub! It was very easy check in. Totally 10/10 recommend!
Had a great stay staff were very helpful on where to go where to eat and I got a free float for being a member. They had a pool and a hot tub that was clean and relaxing. Had no real problems with anything in the hotel
When I arrived I was checked in by a very sweet young lady. She was very helpful and courteous and even though it was her 3rd day there, she was already knowledgeable about the hotel and process and was able to answer my questions without hesitation. In the morning I met Eva, the front desk manager, we started talking and she shared the history of the hotel, which I found to be very interesting. we talked about our grandkids! and had a very nice conversation. Eva was extremely nice and seemed to know every bit of the hotel business. I will definitely stay here again and will recommend this hotel to my friends and relatives. Thanks for a pleasant stay
This is a completely updated motor lodge in the heart of St. George. It is a clean modern facility with a cheerful staff. Hot breakfast with many options provided. Nice outdoor pool area and 2 EV chargers, one is a Tesla charger.
Searched for a hotel with at least three stars, and was disgusted when we showed up to find a motel. In what universe does a motel advertise itself as a three star hotel? Once we got settled, the air conditioner, set on low, kicked on every few minutes and sounded like an F-16 on afterburner, waking all of us up all night long. Finally turned it off at 2AM. The floor of the room was dingy, and the drain in the sink was slow. On the plus side, the receptionist in the morning was very friendly.
It was alright the employees were very nice the hotel was nothing great. Our first time in St George on our way to Colorado. The town seemed boring and the people that lived there did not seem happy to be there. I wish they had nicer hotels there in St George probably won't ever go back to stay.
Extremely clean rooms! New and updated. Very nice pool and hot tub. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast had a variety and hot food. This is the best hotel I ever stayed at and I stay at 20 hotels a year
The Aiden in St. George is a great place to stay. We chose it on line not knowing what we would find. Upon arrival we were so pleased! Great location, very clean property, staff very friendly and the breakfast each morning was delicious with lots of options!! Loved it!!!
Rooms very clean and confortable. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. Nice restaurants in the vicinity. I would definitely recommend it for a stay in St George. Easy to find. The staff is really nice.
I booked directly with with the hotel to ensure I received a senior discount. The staff was friendly, kind, and helpful! As I drove in it looked like an old motel and nothing like the picture online. I was at first a little skeptical. I went to check in and the guy working was amazing and welcoming! Inside the Lobby and the room it was fully renovated and beautiful as well as super comfortable. I was a woman travelling alone and I felt safe. I enjoyed the hot tub and pool. The next morning I wasn't expecting much for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised at all the options and how delicious it was. As I checked out the woman manager was efficient, kind and welcomed me back! I LOVE that hotel and now it's My favorite hotel in St, George! It was also offered at a great value. I have told ten people about my great experience there and recommended that they make the choice to stay there if driving through to Vegas or California. On my return trip from California the following week I stayed there yet again and had the same wonderful experience that the guy that checked me in the 2nd stay entered me their rewards program. I definitely recommend this hotel over any where else in St George! I will be Back yet again!
Overall great experience. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Easily located and close enough to restaurants to walk to. Breakfast had enough to choose from. I have allergies and sometimes breakfast is a challenge.
Very comfortable and inviting property. It was a refreshed property and was well done. interesting seeing the memory wall near the breakfast area. A little history of the hotel. We loved how comfortable the beds were!
Renovated, boutique-style hotel located in the heart of downtown St. George. Rooms were refurbished, nicely decorated, and clean. Staff was very accommodating, going as far as opening breakfast at 2:30AM since many guests were attending an early event that weekend. Eva and Stephanie at the front desk were both extremely helpful, friendly, and connected to each guest personally.
The rooms are of better design than many "4-Star" hotels - someone actually thought out design, finishes, and aesthetics. Everything was clean and nicely working. Comfortable bed, nice shower, great overall comfort. For my dollar, this was a very good spend and a welcomed stopover.
I have stayed here in my youth and WOW!! Renovations are amazing! The only issue I had was with the shower. There could have been more attention to detail. Standing in water because of hair in the drain wasn't ok with me. No other complaints though :)
Drove up to this small hotel with exterior doors and was not sure what to expect. Christina at the front desk was a perfect host. The rooms are completely refurbished, comfortable and clean. The bathrooms are a bit small, but nicely appointed. Breakfast was a nice selection for a small hotel. A very good choice for St George.
Aiden by Best Western was well-appointed, spotlessly clean and overall a step up from competitive brands. Excellent hot breakfast included, and service with a smile all the time. This small boutique hotel in a great location should not be missed
This is our fourth year staying at this hotel with our high school baseball team. We choose this hotel because of the great location and friendly staff. Breakfast gets our players fed and ready for the day. Rooms are clean and comfortable.
Really nice remodeled older hotel. Good breakfast and excellent coffee. Close to good food and shopping really enjoyed our stay. Several restraints and bars within walking distance. Front desk very helpful with suggestions and directions.Hopefully next time we can enjoy the pool.
If you have the opportunity to stay at the Aiden on St. George Blvd in St. George, UT, do it! Classic motel that has been totally renovated to combine modern amenities with nostalgia. Great brand and great property!
Was our second visit in the last 6 months and will be sure to visit again. Full hot breakfast, which was great. Eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, waffles and more. Each room has a Keurig machine!
A converted motor lodge, but nicely done. The neighborhood is much quieter than other places we have stayed in St George. The hot tub is small, but at least it was open. Breakfast area is adequate, fortunately it was not overly busy during our visit. Could be tight during busy times. Will stay here again.
It was clean which is very important and the desk clerk was so friendly and nice. He was a very hard worker. Stayed there for the St. George Marathon. It is a beautiful town and the hotel was close to anything you may need
We stay here often as it is easy in and easy out with well kept rooms. I have noticed the prices are going up so that part is not as good as in the past. The staff are friendly and helpful. We will check it out next time we are in the area.
We have stayed at this place a few times over the years on our annual road trip, including after the Aiden rebranding (although I believe the ownership has not changed). The recent updating made a charming motel slightly hipper, but the service is still great and friendly, the breakfast is good, the rooms are stylish, clean and pleasant, and the pool / hot tub are nice. Very walkable location. Pretty reasonable rates given what you get.
Great location and had no idea how much there is to do in this area. Did a good job of trying to be sure safe practices for Covid prevention. Comfortable room and nice to be able to park right outside the door. Good breakfast included.
We recently stayed at this BW on our way out and back on a fall trip. Both visits were excellent. Rooms are well appointed and clean. Staff is wonderful. Would definitely stay here again. There are restaurants near by.
Great rooms, bathrooms, beds. Top notch service. Had all the amenities you'd expect from a nice hotel. The water service after check in was a lovely touch. Wonderful location. I'll be staying here from now on. :)
There was a person running the front checkin counter who was repeatedly telling a large group of high school age kids on a field trip that they did not need to wear their masks here while heading into the small crowded breakfast kitchen area. They were all masked up and being safe and she kept telling them as they walked in the door that they didn't need to wear their masks here and many said "oh ok" and listened to her and took them off. She was not wearing a mask either. Bad form to try and influence these kids she should have kept her mouth closed. Will not stay here again.
A hidden gem in St. George that I'm so glad I stumbled on to! This small motel has been very nicely remodeled and upgraded. The staff is very friendly and helpful and facility is very clean. The included breakfast had both hot, freshly cooked offerings (scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, oatmeal) as well as the usual continental breakfast offerings. Everything was nicely displayed and the area very clean. Our bed was very comfortable. Another plus: our room's wall heat unit was quiet when it was running. We will definitely stay here again on future trips to St. George.
This Hotel remind me of the 50s, the décor of the room felt like it was from an Old Era! All rooms are on the 1st floor which I think makes it easier for people have problems with stairs and for those in wheel chairs.
The staff was friendly and made us feel very welcome . We were there on business but the atmosphere at Aiden by Best Western @ St George made us want to return soon for pleasure! The shower gets an A+ with an extra tall shower head, modern tile work and full-glass doors…the room was newly renovated and was very clean and upscale.
It's an old motel that's been charmingly redecorated. The service was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was pretty good, the bed was super comfy, the water pressure was great. I wish the towels were larger, and the could stand to be cleaned more thoroughly, but really those complaints are digging deep. I would highly recommend this hotel.
We stayed in room 130, and this room smelled like urine. It felt like we were staying in a public restroom. If you are taller than 6' this is not a place to stay. The ceiling is very low. I paid over $200 a night for a room, and it's not worth it. Would not recommend this hotel at all.
Personal touch on recommending dining shopping options. Staff interested in amenity satisfaction. Cheerful staff. Above and beyond attention by Traven and Eva. Lovely outdoor amenities. Evening spent past sunset at pool, with music and lights. Lovely environment.
This is an updated "motor court" style property. Totally renovated, well appointed and spotlessly clean. Employees are friendly, efficient and obviously enjoy their jobs. A wonderful place to stay. We will definitely stay here again!
We arrived at Aiden without a reservation but were treated with respect as the staff tried to find a room for us (we got the last one!) The hotel offers exterior entry, which gives it more of a private feel. The beds were comfortable and clean, and the room was modern in decor and amenities. The breakfast was decent with plenty of options. Care was given to ensure everything was sanitary. I would recommend this hotel.
This cute little motel is still family owned and it shows. It has been recently renovated and the rooms are clean, spacious and decorated in modern style. The lobby has sodas, lemonade and rootbeer floats around the clock and the breakfast buffet had a lot of selection. The pool and hot tub were clean and you can get food delivered to the pool from Cafe Sabor next door. We had such a nice visit with the desk clerk who told us so much history about the family who owned the hotel. The location is within walking distance of Ancestor Square and several places to eat and shop. We will absolutely stay here again.
This motel is clean and updated and the room is pretty! I didn't realize when booking that the 2-Queen room has a small separate sitting area with a pullout sofa, so this room is nice and big and comfortable to be in. The bedding is so soft and light! Bathroom is clean and modern with nice soaps etc. Breakfast was good, several choices like scrambled eggs, oatmeal, bagels, biscuits and gravy, cold cereal, etc. the breakfast area/lobby is super cute/modern decor and a nice place to sit and enjoy coffee. The pool area is really nice and has string lights at night. Excellent stay!
Newly remodeled motel with big rooms, beautiful decor, and a fantastic breakfast! Located in downtown St George and close to Dixie State is a easy convenience. Pool for cooling off and parking right at your door.
Very clean.. and the receptionist and the staff is very helpful. Breakfast is very good. Beyond we expected. Thank you for all, we are very happy with this decision to stay in Aiden By Best Western. Definitely we book again on this hotel.
Our experience at the Aiden was truly unique and memorable. It many ways in brought me back to my childhood when we pulled up our car to the door of our room, opened the door and there it was, such exciting memories! The room was very modern, yet with a bit of nostalgia. The furnishings and decor were new, but reminiscent of another century, what fun! The bed was so comfortable and the walk in shower was a real treat. Everything on the inside and outside was a reminder of days gone by, given the artistic touch everywhere. A stay here is not to be missed, especially if you enjoy a unique approach to the glory of road trips of bygone times, but with all of the present day comforts!
Stayed here August 6, 2021 for 1 night in a 2 queen room. Was assigned room 118. I Usually don't stay at best westerns but had a $25 gift card to use. I decided to try out the Aiden brand. Upon arriving a nice receptionist welcomed me and highlighted a few things on a map of the property. The receptionist informed about the pool hours, internet password, Breakfast hours. After a easy checkin I made my way to my room. Upon walking into the room I was very impressed. The decor was modern as well as the bathroom. The room even had a nice 50" Samsung TV with Directv. But then I started to find things housekeeping missed like a coffee cup behind the fake plant in the bathroom (see picture) and on top of the mini fridge was extremely dusty but I'm not gonna mark them down as the rest of the stay was excellent. There is also an extension cord sticking out between the 2 beds for the alarm clock & lamp that looked sloppy (see picture). But like I mention I'm not gonna bring the rating down. I highly recommend This Best Western (Aiden) to anyone looking for a clean, nice & modern stay. I already booked a 2 night stay here in December. Can't wait.
We will always stay at this hotel when we drive through St. George. It is a vintage kind of motor lodge but it has been updated so well and is so fun and funky. The front desk staff were very friendly and enthusiastic, and we just got a great feeling about the whole stay. The location is great, walking distance to the downtown district, away from I-70 so it was nice and quiet. We highly recommend this property.
The hotel is very clean and comfortable. All of the front desk staff members were super nice. Breakfast is included, which is nice. The pool was cool and refreshing. There are plenty of restaurants located near by. Would stay here again. Only 20 minutes from the airport.
Nice stay at this remodeled motel on the north side of the city. Reminded me of the classic motor hotels of yesteryear, but nicely remodeled. Clean, comfortable room. Wifi and breakfast included. Small outdoor pool. Several restaurants within walking distance.
This location was perfect for our stay. It was in the middle of st George and within reasonable vicinity of so many places to go. Our family enjoyed the pool, hot tub and breakfast that were provided for free. I did not use housekeeping, it was available upon request, but we weren't in the room enough for us to need it. I brought my own trash bags to throw out our trash in the dumpster. It was perfect for us and I highly recommend this property. The beds were SO comfortable!!!
This was our 2nd time we have stayed there in a month. The staff is kind and accommodating. The hotel is clean and the pool is a wonderful asset. They make their breakfast (eggs) from scratch and any way you would like them. Highly recommend this hotel!
We remember staying at this a Family owned motor lodge in the 70s, and the upgrade is great! Retains the old. motor lodge feel, with stylish new retro-modern decor. Lobby pics and shadow box items from original motel tell a story. Still owned by original family. Inspiring photos of the Zion in Lobby/rooms. Beds and pillows SO comfy!! Nice pool in front, towels, lounge chairs. We didn't use the indoor jacuzzi cuz it was hot enough outside (98 at 9pm) Nice that there is some grass out back by a cool old sandstone brick house that I think may have been Original family home. Can relax by grass in covered patio or play corn hole on grass. Was quiet and cozy and a neat modern feel yet quaint throwback to a simpler time. Only downside was breakfast (not much variety) and the sofa bed was not comfortable (we had 5 ppl so our room had 2 beds and a sofa bed. Also if you get this room know that to make the sofa bed fit and the bathroom door still have room to open, they used a sliding door (barn door style) which was cute but left a 2 inch gap when closed that meant zero sound privacy when using the toilet. Rooms back in the 50s60s70s were smaller than we are used to today so everyone in the room will hear what's going on in bathroom. At least for this model of room. Rm 129 Overall, would definitely stay again,
So glad we found this hidden treasure! Beautiful spacious room and comfortable beds with new luxurious bedding- with modern bathroom too! We were at the lower back of the property- so was super quiet and had our own outdoor private seating area. Nice breakfast to get our day started.
If you travel and have to stop by at St. George, this is your hotel! On the Main Street, close to Freeway 15. Very clean, spacious and beautifully designed room. Nice pool and good breakfast. The hotel is close to the park and the famous St. George temple.
This is a old motel style Best Western that has been newly remodeled and has a great pool, hot breakfast, A/C that works great and Wi-Fi. The staff goes out of their way to be helpful and have a great attitude.
I am picky. I don't generally stay in motels, because they're yucky and can even have roaches. However, after researching and finding so many good reviews, I decided to risk my one night stay at the Aiden. The room, bathroom, beds, and carpet were clean. The beds were quite comfortable and didn't leave my back aching the next day. It really is updated and the bathroom has a really cool faucet. I was able to get a room for the 5 of us with three beds, and that is hard to find. Front desk was friendly and helpful. I didn't use any amenities because I left at 5:00 AM, but my son that stayed behind said it was a typical hotel breakfast. My only complaint was that the air conditioner didn't work well enough to keep the room cool, especially at night when it is hard to sleep in a warm room. With that being said, I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Some reviews said the rooms were small, but I did NOT find that to be the case. The bathroom is small, but clean and that is more important to me. I was able to keep my family in one room for $156 total. Well done Aiden. Well done.
We have stayed at this hotel twice in the past year. They recently remodeled and upgraded their hotel. Besides the great rooms the service was being great. All the employees were pleasant and helpful.
Nice hotel. Newly remodeled. Outside and in were refreshed and modern. Didn't eat the breakfast so cannot comment. Parking lot was small and a little hard to navigate but workable. I think the name must have changed since we made our reservation.
Wonderful four day stay. Package deal with live theater two nights. Great bed. Excellent breakfast dealing with covid restrictions. Used the hot tub and pool everyday and had use of the bikes for free. Great location downtown St. George Utah with excellent restaurants near by. We loved our stay with plenty to do with walks and sights to see.
This is such a nice motel with a great location and quick access to surrounding golf, parks etc. Very clean with a friendly staff. Convenient room access, comfortable and nicely appointed rooms. Very recent update.
Outstanding hotel, perfect location to all St. George has to offer all within an easy enjoyable walk. Also great location for all Southern Utah attractions such as Zion. Also an easy drive to Vegas. Staff outstanding, breakfast very good, and room cleanliness was top notch. Pool area is a great way to unwind at the end of the day or to just take a rest day. I will definitely stay here every time I visit St. George.
Fantastic place to Stay in St George. Centrally located. Family oriented. Great looking rooms. The modern decor is very attractive. Good night sleep due to the comfortable bed! Super, responsive staff.
Looks like the property has been remodeled. We started staying here back in the 90s when we were traveling with a van load of kids because of the triple bed suites downstairs. The maintenance guy a few years back rescued my wife's wedding band from the plumbing for us.
I found the Travel Inn to meet all of my needs! The staff were friendly and helpful. I especially appreciated having EV charging. Beds and pillows were comfy, rooms were delightful. I highly recommend!
My family has stayed here over the last 15 years, long before they renovated and started rebranding recently and there's a reason we keep going back. Best customer service, clean and comfy rooms and great location! I recently stayed for 1 1/2 weeks as we're moving to the area and are getting the new house ready to move in. While they aren't doing daily housekeeping because of Covid they very promptly took care of the little things that need to be done regularly in the room. And I arrived a bit early the first day and housekeeping immediately went to the room to sanitize it before we went in. The beds are comfy and the place is kept very clean! I didn't eat breakfast there so I can't review that but everything about the place was top notch otherwise. The pool area is small but we enjoyed it. I had a very strange request from the front desk and they were extremely helpful in helping me out. And the hotel is on a very busy street which makes it convenient for restaurants in the area, but also creates some road noise. We just use our white noise machine at night that we keep in our travel bag. Will definitely recommend to family and friends visiting the area!
I think it was a great place. I was able to sit in the hot tub for a little while. The room was very clean. The staff was very kind as well. There wasn't a tub in my room but the shower was great. The breakfast was really good as well, especially during covid-19.
I needed a decent motel for a recent one night stay in St. George. I usually like the Best Western brand and this property proved my choice to be correct. I loved my stay. Everything was just about the way I would have wanted it to be. I loved that there was only one level and that I could park directly fin front of my room. The room itself had obviously had a recent remodel and the current decor was wonderful. Things were clean, tasteful and functional. Everything worked well and I enjoyed a peaceful nights rest on a comfortable bed. I did not use the complimentary breakfast although it was offered. I would definitely stay here again on a future visit.
Clean comfortable rooms, very friendly staff. We will definitely stay again. Parking is a bit tight but not bad if you had a car instead of a large truck. Rooms are updated and nicely decorated? Offered a hot breakfast as well as many other items to choose from.
I love being in Utah, and I love this Best Western. Newly remodeled, friendly staff, and very clean. I stay at the Best Western Travel Inn when I visit Zion National Park. It's an easy drive to Zion, and a great place to come back to. St. George is a great, quaint town to wonder about. I love this Best Western.
We have not traveled as much as we would like but to find this smaller hotel with the quality and value and the super friendly staff was the best find Rooms are very clean and comfortable very good location With the best people to help you
My husband and i stayed here in a king bed room. The hotel has renovated its rooms - in fact, they were renovating the lobby when we checked in. The motel seems very ordinary from the outside, but our room inside was nicely appointed. The heat worked effectively and was quiet. The hotel provides a continental breakfast, which was so-so but they get credit for trying. They also serve Seattle's Best coffee, which is a nice touch.
I booked this Best Western because it was smaller and we could go straight into our room and not down hallways etc. It was a lovely room and the bed was very comfortable. It was located in an area with several restaurants etc. and close to to freeway. We spent one day hiking in Snow Canyon and then we drove to Nevada the next day and spent the day at Valley of Fire State Park. It was quiet, clean, comfortable and very enjoyable. Very friendly staff. We will stay there again when we travel to St. George.
Really pleased with the hotel all around. Clean, nice decor. Wish I had time to use the indoor jacuzzi but next time for sure. Looked enticing. Breakfast was done very well considering it is Covid. They even had a hot breakfast that was a cheese omelette with sausages.
We stayed at the Best Western Travel Inn as an overnight stop in St George. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The rooms were recently remodeled and they were very modern and comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great and Covid-safe. We enjoyed our stay and will stay again if we are back in St. George.
Have stayed at this motel numerous times. Staff is always personable, helpful and efficient. Rooms are modern, clean and well maintained. Breakfast is plentiful and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The COVID restrictions actually makes a multi-night stay feel more like it's your room to enjoy. Don't miss the opportunity to stay here!
The recent renovation is wonderful, made it very modern and comfortable. The person working the counter when we checked in did a wonderful job, very friendly. The room was worth more than what the rate was for our stay.
Very personable staff, from the lady at check in, to the breakfast lady. Both were very friendly and talkative. Both were very informative about the area and the hotel. Breakfast area in the lobby was a wide open space. The friendly breakfast lady provided individually packaged cheese omelettes, sausage and waffles. Pumpkin waffles were available along with original flavor. Lots of other prepackaged items-granola bars, pastries, fruit and bottles of water. Our room was a very large remodeled room at the back of the hotel. It was actually built into a hill. Our room had 2 queen beds and 1 double bed. Plenty of room for our family of 5 to spread out!
Was very surprised at how updated and clean the room was. It was very sleek and modern with great bedding and a premium mattress. The free breakfast had plenty of options and fruit. They had more options for meals and snacks than some higher rated hotels during Covid. Although you have to eat in your room, there was plenty of space in our king size room for both of us to eat. We also have plenty of room to layout and organize our camping gear before heading out into National Parks. This hotel is off a busy road but they play music in the pool area which drowns out the sound of traffic while you're relaxing. The 24hr reception was perfect for our after midnight arrival time. We couldn't have asked for an easier or more comfortable stay while we were in St. George
After a very long day of driving we pulled into the parking lot actually not expecting much. It was late, we were tired, and just wanted a comfy bed. Reception was friendly. Parking lot was small but overall full. Located on a fairly busy street. Our room was so much more than we expected!!! The decor was crisp and welcoming; it was updated and modern looking while still inviting. Loved the large walk in shower and sliding barn door. Overall is was quiet although I could hear people talking outside, maybe smokers, as I found cigarette butts in the planter outside our room. The room included a mini frig, microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer, etc. Slept well, which meant a lot as we were going to have another long day on the road. Breakfast was egg & cheese omelets with sausage, waffles, cereals, juices, fresh fruit, etc. All brought out to us to eat in our room or car. Eva and Sam were very nice. Would stay again and recommend.
Very clean and comfortable stay. Room very roomy. Bed was really comfy. The bedding looked and smelled very fresh and looked very clean, if not new. Didn't use the pool but it was clean and refreshing looking. Customer service was great.
The room was recently updated with stylish furnishings and decor. It's about to become an Aiden (cool, edgy, chic) and there were already indications of that. Don't let the lobby fool you. Give it a try - we'd stay again for sure.
Staff was very friendly! We checked into our room late do to bring stuck in the mountains. Front desk was understanding! Gave us committed and extra towels. Breakfast was set up nicely got covid/social distancing. Love the grab and go bags. Rooms were nice
We had a great stay! The pool was great and the rooms were clean. We stayed in the suites and had enough space to hang out. There were even designated pool towels for us to use. Brandon was really helpful over the phone in booking our stay and the staff was friendly.
The Hotel was situated near shops, restaurants, tourist spots. It shows they care about health and safety of the staff and guest. Gloves were provided for the beverages, also rooms are clean. The front desk is professional and courteous also offers excellent recommendations on the area.
This was a great place to stay on every level. It was clean, and had convenient access to our car and was super quiet. Grab and go breakfast, smaller motel with fewer people, and exterior corridors made this our top choice during the Covid 19 pandemic. Very nice staff! Dad was happy with the bed and kids loved the pool, too. Quick walk to Iceberg down the street for dessert. Kids are asking to stay here again!
The overall was above average. I chose the single queen bed because that's what we needed. The room was very compact and better suited to a single, but my wife and I did OK. I was pleasantly surprised by a hot breakfast and great coffee. I have an electric vehicle which we chose not to drive due to range anxiety, but there was a 220 common charger and a Tesla charger.
Had three options of Best Westerns in the area and I randomly picked this location. Turned out to be the best ever! Newly renovated, everything was extremely clean and comfortable. The pool was fabulous and fun. Would definitely pick this hotel again next time I go to St. George.
We spent one night in St George on our way back from Zion/Bryce & was pleasantly surprised at how nice the room was! Their renovated rooms don't match the exterior at all! Breakfast was a nice bonus, they still had a good selection of grab & go breakfast with the current COVID restristrictions. Hot options-eggs & sausage were available per order request, waffles, juice/coffee, pre-bagged yogurt, fruit & granola bars were also an option. Would highly recommend this hotel if you are travelling to the Zion/Bryce area.
The staff were all very friendly. The room looked and felt clean, and the beds were soft. I was very happy with my stay. I couldn't hear other guests and the parking was close to the door. The pool was a little cold but fun.
Remodeled, clean, centrally located, beds were amazing. Rooms were cozy and the staff were incredibly friendly. I've never stayed at a Best Western...as I had heard “ehh” from others but this property exceeded my expectations. I would stay here again and again. Thank you to Brandon at Best Western Travel Inn.
We stayed a night at each of the Abbey Inn and this Travel Inn on our trip, and much preferred the Travel Inn. The Abbey Inn was a zoo, which is not what one wants when trying to vaguely social distance with COVID-19 still around. We mostly camp on our vacations, and it's always so convenient being able to park right outside our room to haul our gear in. The renovation was really nicely done, and it was one of the nicest hotel rooms I've stayed in that wasn't a luxury resort. The room was plenty clean on a functional level, but the deep cleanings could be improved. There already was some mildew down in the corners of the shower. Otherwise the shower is really nice as it was clearly an old bathtub that was removed to be turned into a large walk-in shower. Breakfast was the best COVID-19 setup of the three hotels we stayed at on our trip. Simply call about 10 minutes ahead and the staff makes up a tray with what you want.
We had a couple of issues but really appreciated the response from the hotel. Their response showed some great customer service and concern. The positives of this Hotel far outweighed any small issues and would recommend this Hotel.
Our room was clean and quiet. check in and out was quick. We were able to park in front of our room. The rooms are on 2 levels, so the top level is more convenient The free breakfast is ok Our room was quiet for sleeping
Was so impressed with the staff, the property, and the overall experience. Came to town to watch a basketball game at the local college and had such a nice stay that I was tempted to call in sick the next day and not check out! I didn't get everyone's name, except for Kayleen and she was absolutely delightful. So full of local knowledge and consummately professional. Next trip to St George will include another stay at this property. Thank you!
The staff went above and beyond to help us and accomdate us after my husbands surgery. When qe stay here we are always greeted warmly and the go above and beyond to help us...but this ti e they really were compassionate toward my husband and I. We will definitely stay here again and tell all of our friends to stay there!
The night that I checked in. The front desk lady ( wish I could remember her name ) was very helpfull in helping with anythin that I need and also help me relax as I need this very much. I just drove 950 mile that day and was buzzing.
We took advantage of the location to walk downtown, where we ate and saw a live St. George Musical at the old restored opera house. We also took advantage of their hot tub and got massages at a spa. They're smaller rooms but adequate for overnight stays with a king bed and fridge and microwave. Loved the attention of the staff.
It was very conveniently located, easy to find, and close to the things we wanted to drive to. It was also a great value, with a very reasonable price and full hot breakfast. The employees were all friendly, and it was spotlessly clean. For the price I expected it to appear dated but it was quite nice.
Very close to old town St George so to kill time had a nice walk to check out all the stores in Old Town. Close to a very nice Mexican Restaurent and included one free appitzer or dessert complete with bar.
We had an excellent stay in our cozy room and appreciate the friendliness of the staff. We arrived a little before the check-in time but they had a room available for us. We found the room nice and cozy and enjoyed the large shower in the bathroom.
We really like this particular Best Western. The staff is wonderful. So friendly, helpful and kind. The breakfast is very good with lots of choices. We have always stayed here because of the cleanliness, but found our room not quite as clean as usual. The carpets needed cleaning. The shelves by the sink hadn't been wiped clean, and the fridge and microwave hadn't been dusted or cleaned on the top in quite some time...very dusty. However, the bathroom and beds were spotless and really clean. Always a good place to stay.
This BW has been nicely updated. Rooms are nicely appointed with some cool Headboards and nice uplifting artwork and lighting. Room was clean and comfortable. Beds were comfortable too. Bathroom although small was very functional. We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again if in area.
Went to visit my new granddaughter. The St. George area is nice, several restaurants close to the hotel and our rooms were clean, very nice bed and the staff were friendly and ready to help with any needs. I felt safe and comfortable during my stay.
Loved this location. front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room decor was really nice and modern. lightly design is the best I've seen in any other Best Western. centrally located with plenty of restaurants within walking distance.
very nice and had very good breakfast. it was yummy in my tummy and the beds were comfy and avoided snoring for my family. The pool looked very nice although we didn't go in due to the fact that it was very cold.
Really Great room for a reasonable charge! The hot tub is a little small but if you and your friends are the only ones in it then it works out great!! The Staff was helpful and fun! Good location to get around town easily!
I did an overnight in St. George and was attracted to the Travel Inn by the smaller size of the property and positive reviews. The grounds are simple faux adobe and rock work exteriors that reflect the Utah desert monuments. The staff were friendly and helpful and check in/out were painless The Travel Inn has 25 single floor units arranged in a "u" shape with parking inside the "u", reminiscent of a 1950s “motel” layout. Its smaller size means that the office is easily reachable from any room. Its one level design, small size and separation from I-15 made for a peaceful night. I had what is likely their smallest room (single queen bed) and the room was smaller than some I've seen, but it was very comfortable, clean and the newly remodeled interior was very tastefully done throughout the room. Its size was perfect for me. Microwave, fridge and 50 inch LCD TV with DirectTV were great. The bed was firm AND comfortable, and the pillows were perfect. The heater/AC unit is wall/window mount, which is my least favorite style (having had too many unreliable, cantankerous and/or noisy units in the past), but this one kept the temperature constant and was quiet enough not to interrupt my night's sleep. The breakfast was excellent, with choices of scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, DIY waffles, coffee, juices, cereals and fruit with a comfortable dining room through a nearby door.
I travel and stay in St. George a lot and stay at 2 BW's in town: Coral Canyon and Abbey Inn. Here is a review of what to expect: Coral Canyon is always about $5 to $10 a night cheaper. Pro's - better rooms and better tv. Cons - so so breakfast, not really close to a lot of choices for restaurants, hard to get into to, so so pool. Abbey Inn is better for business as they have places to meet, easier to get into and out of (right off freeway. They have a A+ breakfast. Pool is better. Cons - tv cable is not as good, rooms are so so.
Was very surprised, our room had been updated with tile and new shower and it was really nice. Close to shopping and resturantes. Wonderful breakfast. Will stop here again on our way home in the spring.
Definitely would stay here again. Front desk staff was very friendly. Owners of the hotel upgraded the rooms nicely. Breakfast buffet is same as most other hotels. Close to wherever you needed to be in town.
The motel property very updated. The room and bathroom was modern. Internet was very fast. The complaints I have were the slamming of doors, TV heard through the wall and the shower had mold growing in several areas. The front desk employees were super. The breakfast was very good.
Pleasantly surprised to walk into my room and see a modern, clean, and recently updated guest room. Comfortable bed and pillows. Everything about the entire facility appeared clean and fresh. Helpful staff. Would defiantly stay again, great value
Stayed at a few different hotels and motels best western is the best bang for your money and exceed the amount you paid. Will stay there again and I highly recommend joing the best rewards program. Very clean place.
I always stay at this Best Western when traveling from Arizona. Very nice. Always very clean and quiet. I really like the newly decorated rooms. The staff has always been very nice and easy to work with.
My stay was comfortable, clean, and enjoyable. I stay in hotels a lot (between 3 to 4 nights a week) for work and pleasure and this Best Western was an excellent enough property that I feel very comfortable recommending it as a place to stay for anyone who might be passing through or visiting St. George, Utah and needing a place to stay.
Great Location, Very friendly staff. This Best Western is the the best of the 3 in town. Completely remodeled in 2018 with high end finishes. They are switching to the AIDEN logo which part of the Best Western family in the near future. Can still use your points, etc.
Used Travel Discounters to book our 10 day trip to Egypt. It was amazing. Visited the pyramids. . temples. . Valley of the Kings, Egyptian Museum, Nile River boat cruise and more. Kireem, an egyptologist was our tour guide from Cairo to Luxor to Aswan. Meals were included. Beautiful hotel stays at Le Meridian and Sonesta hotels.
Perfect location that's easy to find. You can walk to many places for some good food and sweet treats. The staff were friendly and helpful and it's probably the best "hotel" breakfast I've had (and I am not a breakfast food person). We got dinner from down the street and ate it at the little gazebo spot in the back, which was really nice. We stayed in one of the rooms that offered 3 beds, which was perfect since they are situated in the back of the hotel. I would highly recommend.
Rooms are small, but clean and well-appointed. All the amenities you can think of are set in a comfortable, nicely decorated retreat. And, the Utah scenery is great. I've stayed in much pricer hotels that were much less of a hotel than this.
Overall, this was a very nice place to stay. They have recently updated the rooms and did a tremendous job. The bathrooms were especially well done and stylish. Externally, this place has more of the appearance of a motel but everything was in very good working order.
My husband and I have always stayed with Best Western whenever we have the option. Recently stayed at the Best Western Travel Inn and that was the best decision we made. Booked online, arrived early and was offered early check in. Awesome staff and room was so clean! The pool was just right temp and we really enjoyed our stay! Will be back again soon!
Very reasonable price for a good breakfast and a very nice looking suite. A nice place with a vast community of cohort competition. Pool is a great plus but be prepared to share with kids, plenty of deep water and small stairs so bring a floaty; 3 and 1/2 feet and up! I was impressed by the staffs willingness to chat about anything and everything.
Low key, inexpensive and close to the center of town but just a few minutes off highway 15. This was very conveniently located and a very good value. Lots of places to choose from to eat and close to a number of the parks where I went.
We love to stay at Best Westerns, even in other countries. In Europe, they have distinct qualities in each country, and distinct looks. Usually conveniently located and great service.. We like the breakfasts, coffee provided in the room, and wi-fi.
Wow my husband & I were very impressed with our stay here! It was super clean which is a big deal. And it was our fav hotel on our long roadtrip. Loved the whole feel and look of our room! Had this cozy relaxing, welcoming feel. And the lady at the desk was so friendly & helpful to us as well. The price was so helpful, too! Thx and whenever we head back thru this way again, we will check here 1st.
We visited here just after it was newly remodeled. The rooms were nicely appointed and I liked the lighting. Our main complaint was the room did't have a tub. Some rooms do if you look at the tripadvisor website. They were nearly full when we arrived so we had no choice. The breakfast in the morning was excellent as it had many choice including hot food of different types. We would stay here again if we could have a tub/shower combo.
A very pleasant experience with clean modern rooms reflecting a bright cheery ambience. Walk in shower, plush beds with a vanity for two. Strategic located on the main street of St. George with many restaurants within walking distance. Cheerful fun loving staff!
One night stay as we travelled home. Pleasantly surprised by the lovelyecor and newness of the room. Excellent location, but Sunday night stay did not have many choices for dinner, though we had a fabulous meal at a close by place. Just a quick stroll. Then a swim in the outdoor pool after dinner. Fabulous breakfast! We will be back!
The rooms were freshly remodeled, clean and well outfitted. The addtion of USB plugs for charging was a really nice touch. The room decor was tasteful and modern with many ammenities. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful.
We were so pleasantly surprised by our stay. Got a family room: 2 queen beds, 1 double bed. Room was fantastic. Super clean, very modern. Beds were SOOOOO comfortable. Great price. Pool, laundry, pool towels at the front desk, great breakfast. Very quiet. The staff was extremely friendly. We'll definitely stay here again if passing thru. Mexican place across the street with a good happy hour. You can order food at the pool. Highly recommend Tonaquin Park if traveling with kids. Close by.
I've stayed in "high class" hotels, but none had the welcome, the amenities, the stylish decor and the breakfast of this one. As a travel in, this is a motel with no interior halls. It was super clean, had a wonderful pool, great staff, comfortable bed and pillows, quiet rooms. This was the best value and had all the perks we love.
I reserved this hotel because I drive a Tesla and they have electric vehicle chargers. When I called to book they told me that they would reserve a spot for me. When I got there they had an orange cone set out to make sure I had a place to charge my car. In addition to that they upgraded my room to one that was right outside my parking spot. Everyone was so nice and helpful and the accommodations were very nice and clean. Best value around!
Great place. Clean and updated place. Love it. Breakfast is included and they are very good. Water and fruits are provided throughout the day. The service staff are very helpful answering questions with regarding to where to go and how to get there.
Great hotel!! From check-in to check-out, everything was great. The room was clean and fresh and the breakfast was unbelievably delicious! Real eggs were used for scrambled eggs - not the powered kind. We will stay here again!
We love this motel. We stay there at least once and year when we go to Tuacahn, and sometimes more. It is a wonderful place to stay, like home away from home. Everyone there is so friendly and helpful and the rooms are always immaculate. The breakfast is great and the pool is always the perfect temperature! Wouldn't stay anywhere else in ST. George.
Excellent service, amenities, and rooms. 4th stay here. Close to restaurants and Zion National Park. Be sure and see a show at Tuacahn. Only 15 minutes away. Convenient and economical. A great value all the way around.
we checked in late about 6pm on a trip to the National Parks. Desk clerk helped me find a local gluten free restaurant and even found a coupon for it on the pamphlet display on the desk. newly renovated, the rooms were fantastic in decor and cleanliness. Very convenient. We were in and out with full breakfast the next morning and on our way with no fuss.
This motel exceeds expectations. Great value for the money. Awesome location. The staff was friendly and personable. Also the staff helped inform of upcoming Best Western reward opportunities. The staff provided some great restaurant suggestions. Having a restaurant nearby and not connected with the motel is a plus. The coupon for appetizers also was a plus. Breakfast also was better than expected and had everything I needed.
Our stay was wonderful! Staff went out of their way to assure a great experience!! Hot breakfast was great!! Pool was fun!! Places to eat very close!! We will stay here again when we go to St. George!!
My wife and I were very happy with our one night stay here. Very friendly and helpful desk clerk, clean and comfortable rooms, great prices and an excellent breakfast that included some hot items. Location on St. George Blvd. is great for getting to/from the interstate and exploring the St. George area.
poor quality breakfast food/eating area. kids enjoyed the pool. rooms were confortable. overall an ok stay. we liked the area - lots of dining experencies and views are great. we used a free night as part of the stay 2 and get 3rd free program. shopped briefly at the outlet area near the hotel.
I had called the previous evening with questions about this facility before booking and was assisted by Janice. She was on duty as we checked-in and gave us information about the facility, such as the pictures hung throughout the facility were shots of Zion National Park. Our room was clean, comfortable, & allowed us a good night's sleep. The following morning's complimentary breakfast was tasty and we had ample seating before we were checked out by Eva.
We travel from So. Cal. To Salt Lake several times a year and always stop here. The rooms are nicely remodeled and the staff is very accommodating. Breakfast has a good selection and the parking is easy in the courtyard area.
On the outside, it looks like a 60's vintage motel. On the inside, the recently renovated room looked like one out of HGTV! Clean, fresh, good water pressure, good bedding, good breakfast, and very friendly staff. I would definitely recommend this Inn to my family and friends.
Room was clean and very comfortable. Bathroom was very nice. Parking was a little tight but right outside the room. Front desk staff were very helpful. The location was in town but easy to get to from the interstate.
The rooms are nice and large a d recently updated. The pool area was nice as well. Restaurant and food options within walking distance. Was happy to have the fridge and microwave in the room. Front desk staff was so nice and helpful.
The hotel was clean and our room was updated. The check in and check out were easy and fast. The staff was very nice. The continental breakfast had several options and was good. Also there was a laundry room which we was very convenient.
I had not stayed in a Best Western in years. We decided we were too tired to drive further and stayed at a Best Western while traveling from Kanab, Utah to the Las Vegas airport. The service was absolutely excellent. Out rooon was clean, modern and extremely comfortable. The bed was great with excellent pillows. An excellent experience.
Upon arrival we were concerned that the hotel was not up to Best Western standards. Front desk offered to let us cancel at no charge but offered to show us a room. All rooms have been remodeled. They are nicely done, but a little small. We stayed and it worked out well.
The rooms are completely updated. Beds are very comfortable. Love the very large screen television. The sliding barn door in the bathroom is great large shower. Very quiet the night I stayed also loved that the rooms are all on the ground level, could park in front of the room. Front desk staff very friendly and welcoming.
Driving through town with 2 adults and 3 kids. Price was very reasonable and the hotel seems to have been remodeled recently. Very clean and nice decor. Towels were soft and linens were nice. Pool is tiny but my kids enjoyed their time in it. Close enough to walk to several restaurants. Friendly service. Will be coming back in April!
We stayed in a 2-queen room 117 on 3.6.19. Excellent value. Everything was clean and nice. The staff even let us snack a little in the kitchen when we arrived late. The beds were super comfortable and they even had pillows of varying lofts. I would definitely stay here again.
Cute vintage style motel but completely and beautifully remodeled. Park at the door, frig, coffee maker, wi-fi, full breakfast, pool, hot tub, comfy beds. Beautifully scenery all around. What more do you need?
I provided a $25 travel card to the front desk employee, he told me was taking care. Today i see full charge on my bank account. They did not applied the travel card to my bill. I also double check in the morning before i left and the lady told me everything was ok. And it was not.
Clean updated room with nice hot tub and pool. We also liked the hot breakfast with good waffles. We were also given a coupon to eat at a restaurant within walking distance which was very good. My wife took a early morning run through town and felt very safe. It's a great little motel.
This was truly one of the nicest little hotels I have ever stayed with. Clean, friendly, great price. When in St. George, Stay here! I really can't express how good a value this hotel is for a family or single traveler.
The room was clean & comfortable which is all I want. There are several Best Westerns in St. George and in fact lots of choices of motels & hotels. This place was mid-range in price and I am definitely satisfied with the value. I don't see a reason to pay more when there seem to be lots of great places at mid price.
This hotel was remodeled since our last visit and it was really comfortable this time. All hotel staff here are friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend. The beds are quite comfortable and the pillows are also.the heating system is a little noisy, but the room stayed warm and cozy.
We love this particular hotel when come to town for the variety of suites they have. It's close to everything and the staff is always friendly. The breakfast is great. We found the rooms comfortable and enjoyed our stay.
Great stay... from booking the room, amazing customer service. Clean and updated modern rooms, the beds very comfortable and the pillow so nice and fluffy. The breakfast had a great variety and fresh. Just a great visit. Will definitely book again.
An unbelievably good stay. This property looks like it was recently renovated and done by a designer. The style and the fixtures are beautiful, we wanted to take it home with us. The normal hotel attributes were great as well, clean and quiet, fabulous breakfast, blazing WiFi. We look forward to staying here again.
Stayed here for 4 days 3 nights, everything we needed. The hotel was Newly renovated so the rooms were very nice! The manager of the hotel was really helpful and friendly, never experienced that during a stay. The heater/ac is a little loud, but it keeps the room nice and toasty, so we didn't mind. We loved it here, and would definitely stay again. A big thank you to the manager of the hotel, I believe her name was Eva?!
We had a terrific stay here. The rooms have been renovated and are beautiful! Very easy to get to Tuacahn. The breakfast was great and staff were so friendly- we will definitely be back! What a pleasant st as y.
We Stayed here for 5 nights last week in a beautiful renovated room. Convenient location, Nice hot breakfast , indoor hot tub and friendly staff. I would certainly stay here again. There was even a car charger
The room was very clean and updated, which for us, is the most important part of staying at a hotel. There was also a microwave and small refrigerator which was great as we had leftovers from dinner. The pool and hottub area was very nice. The employees that we had contact with were friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was the typical waffles, scrammbled eggs, sausauge and bacon and everything was hot and enjoyable. We would definiately stay here again when we are in the St George area.
We stayed for a night only, fast check in, reasonable price, quiet ambiance, the person at the front desk was very nice, she made us feel welcome and gave us information about places to visit around the city. Wi fi was a little slow but it was ok for us that didn't use it much. We had a very good night.
This facility is best suited for traveling guests in for a couple of days with no children. It has a motel type layout with enough parking and all necessities covered. The location is also well suited for exploring the immediate area with shops and a very beautiful mountainous landscape.
chose this property on a recent cross country road trip, arriving after a 10 hour driving day from NM, having detoured to north rim Grand Canyon late season. i was in dire need of a hike, and after checking in w/superhelpful and friendly desk agent, headed short 0.8 mi. uphill to a small city park, up the dry ravine around the watertower to a red rocks trail (i chose owen's loop), ended up being nearly 7 mi. w/60 floor vertical equivalent, amazing views, if a bit difficult to see on a moonless night at dusk. (staff tried to steer me to a more sedate walk to another large city park a few blocks away that may be preferable to most folks). back to the hotel, which is a corner oasis, recently renovated rooms, lovely decor, a cozy kingsize bed, great tile shower, took my cold beer out of the fridge and out for a soak in the large heated pool, alternating with the jacuzzi hot tub (enclosed in an adjacent room) when the wind got to be a bit much. the property is close to restaurants, has ample parking and charge stations, offers bicycles for guest use, and serves a kickass hot breakfast buffet in the morning that is a notch above the rest. the staff is the icing on this crowned jewel cake of a property, enjoyed all interactions with the ladies who were helpful, personable and full of information. all this and the reasonable price was a bonus! can't wait to go back for longer period of time.
Spend 3 nights there. This BW was remodeled not too long ago. The room is a bit small but was clean and comfortable. Some clever touches like the Refrigerator and Microwave are hidden behind doors in the dresser...a large HD TV with DirecTV as a provider...the shower is large with large shower head and ample water. The Toilette is too small for regular size men...water level just below the rim...very awkward (draw your own conclusion). Breakfast was very good and changed slightly every day. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend and we would stay here again...anytime.
We stayed here during the Senior Huntsman Games. We loved it. Clean, newly renovated and spacious...we could really spread out. Nice continental breakfast including sausage, eggs, or bacon. Friendly staff too. We liked the fact there's an on-site laundry to do those stinky uniforms. We're booking again for next year!
We stayed here several years ago, and while the rooms were very clean, they were dated. The hotel recently went through a major renovation. Everything is absolutely beautiful! The rooms were spic and span, the staff were happy and helpful. We liked that you can park right in front of your room, as it's single story. I would definitely recommend this hotel!
We visit St. George several times a year and have always stayed at another hotel. We had to make last minute reservations and this hotel was available and was a great price. I am so glad it was! It has been completely remodeled and everything about our stay was fantastic, from the moment we arrived until we left. The room fit our family of 6 just great, with everyone in actual beds (instead of just a pull out couch-my boys were thrilled with that!). The staff was phenomenal, the pool was nice (warm on a chilly night), the breakfast was plentiful, with many options. Overall, this just became our go to hotel when visiting St. George! Thanks Best Western!
Comfortable room, very friendly helpful staff, good price, very clean, easy to get to, breakfast is a very good hotel continental breakfast. I would recommend this hotel. We will be staying here again!
We stayed here twice this summer. Once in June and happily chose this hotel again for another stay in August. The rooms have been remodeled recently and are comfortable and clean. The wifi worked well for our limited needs during our short stays. The staff members we encountered during our stays were friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located a short distance from the interstate and near some local restaurants.
Comfortable room, very friendly helpful staff, good price, easy to get to, breakfast is normal hotel continental breakfast; nothing special but i was there for the room not the food. I would recommend this hotel, great for a great rate.
Property staff and facility where very professional and nice. The young man and lady who checked us in and out where very frendly. Room, bathroom where clean and the bed was very excellent. The continental breakfast in the morning was nice and had great options.
This is an excellent value in what is really a brand new motel as it has obviously been professionally remodeled. Convenient, no charge parking close to your room. We stayed because of the perceived value on our way to a road trip destination and on our return looked forward to the same quality overnight stay on our return home. Since we plan on doing this trip again, we will certainly stay here without hesitation. The staff is wonderful and give a home town feel with Best Western benefits!
The hotel has been recently remodeled, so the rooms look fresh and well appointed. They offer a full breakfast. The property is on a major street, but there wasn't a lot noise. We came in late, asked for and received a noon checkout, which was much appreciated. I special "shout out" to Millie at the front desk. She was very helpful. We'd stay here again. It is an excellent stopping point before you drive to Zion or the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.
The location was perfect for us. The room was awesome. It was very clean and stylish, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom was really nice, we were able to park directly in front of the room too. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. It is also located close to Snow Canyon Stare Park.
With our vacation ending we will generally stay in St George our last night out so that we can get an extra early start for traveling through the hot desert. I always stay at this particular Best Western because of the quality of the experience. Their staff has always gone out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and have always made me feel like I'm being treated special. This year the motel has completed a remodel and my shower was a roomy walk-in style which is a nice addition. We were able to walk downtown 3 blocks to George's Restaurant and have a wonderful meal, although there are more choices for food if we were inclined for something different. Additionally, the bed/bedding is the best sleep I get while on this particular vacation in the western states.
Stayed On route to Palm Springs and then on the way back. Great staff, lovely remodeled rooms, pool was great and the breakfast was good too! The price was very reasonable for how nice it is. Very easy to find and lots of places within easy walking distance or a short drive
We arrived early and was able to go into the room within an hour. They called us when the room was ready for us. Everything was great and staff was friendly. We enjoyed our trip and were able to feel right at home.
Very nice updated rooms. Very clean. Air conditioner easily keep room cool in the St George heat. The ceilings are a little low if you happen to be tall (I am short). That is my only very small critique.
Everything was perfect in the room and out of the room. I could have lived there forever. The receptionist was a sweetheart. The breakfast was delicious and there were different options.I like being on the ground floor and having a set up where I could park in front of my room.
This newly remodeled motel is great. We enjoyed it during our first stay a couple of years ago, and it is even nicer now. Clean, comfortable and welcoming, with parking right outside your door. The rooms are very nicely furnished, the pool area is delightful, and the front desk staff is truly welcoming and caring. Eva took especially good care of us, and it is the first hotel I will consider if we pass this way again. A truly relaxing place for a good night's sleep.
We stayed here two different times in May 2018. Both times it was great. I love the showers. The hot tub & pool were very welcome after a day of hiking! The breakfast was nice but I would have liked to see more fruit. The front desk staff was very helpful!
This is just my favorite Best Western. I am always taken care of so nicely and friendly. And the room is beautiful and comfy. Never a bad night here. The staff always has a smile on, knows what they are doing and I am in and out in just minutes and on to enjoy my room or the rest of the trip
Eva, at the front desk was so kind and helpful. We were there for medical reasons and surgery and Eva went the extra mile in customer service. After my surgery, she even helped my wife load the heavy luggage, without being asked. Thanks for all your help. The room was new, clean and easy to use.
Booked a 3 night stay for Ironman St George. Wasn't expecting a remodeled Inn! Very nice! Front desk people were very friendly. Breakfast available in the lobby. Within walking distance (10-15 min) to the race start / finish and Athlete's village.
The very helpful and friendly night manager, Janice was on duty when we checked in. She gave us directions to local supermarkets and assisted with special requests during the evening. The rooms were a good size and decorated in contemporary style. Microwave and fridge which was perfect for travellers on a road trip. Eva, the manager in the morning, was equally helpful and friendly. I would recommend this hotel and happily stay when travelling this way again
I stay here often. They have gone through a lot of remodels and the rooms look great. What I like about this place is easy to get to and the staff is super friendly. Breakfast is great and there is a nice mexican restaurant next door.
Always a great stay at this newly renovated hotel. Staff is exceptional with assistance and recommendations for meals. Pool and hot tub are always clean and enjoyable. Every chance we get we go to St. George and stay here. 5 star hotel!
We have stayed at this location before and it was great then. Now that this property is COMPLETELY remodeled it is even nicer. Sleek and modern and brand new. Classic views, central location, with the same friendly family service and attention to detail. We love this place, everything was impeccable.
Having a large family, we usually have to rent 2 rooms each night which can get rather expensive. The Family room was perfect for us and fit our family of 7 comfortably. The staff was friendly, room was clean, and breakfast was good. Kids loved it! We Will be be using this hotel again.
This is a nice Best Western Motel, It has recently been updated and the room had a very pleasant feeling to it. It is located on the main drag thru town and there are several places to eat near by. The staff on arrival was very happy and friendly and had suggestions on places to eat and gave us a coupon for a free desert in the Mexican Restaurant next door. The grounds were well taken care of and it was clean inside and out. The location is pretty quiet also especially after dark. The free hot breakfast was very good with a choice of several hot items. The dining area was a decant size and was maintained well along with the food area. I am going to rate this Best Western above average compared to others we have stayed at. We had a very nice stay.
We didn't expect a lot from this property, having planned it as a quick and relatively inexpensive overnight on route to destinations, but we enjoyed our stay. The room has been remodelled, and provided almost all we needed; only thing that I would have liked may have been adding a wall mounted or hand held makeup mirror in the bathroom, as being short, it was difficult to try to get close enough to the mirror to apply eyeliner or mascara. The staff was great - friendly, and welcoming.
Has been a normal spot to stay for decades and always seem to be better. The staff is always very accommodating and knowledgeable. Always helpful when asked about new local restaurants and attractions. The new remodel of the hotel and rooms were nicely done.
This hotel is conveniently located right on St George Boulevard and walking distance to old town St. George and most anything you would want close to this main road. We though the hotel was very well renovated and the rooms were nice and clean. The pool area was clear and clean as well. The only thing I didn't really like about the hotel is we were on the backside rather than the interior section which means bottom floor and the people above us were really loud. Doesn't seem to have a great sound barrier for the bottoms units. Overall I also thought it was priced pretty high for the hotel. If you are staying with family the rooms with 3 beds were pretty good.
Friendly staff, good breakfast variety, free WiFi, and conveniently located within walking distance to nearby restaurants and downtown sights. The room was neat and clean; it had the usual TV, mini-frig, and coffee equipment. The room seemed to have plenty of soundproofing as one could not hear noises (TV or conversations) in adjacent rooms. If I had to complain about anything, the pillows were a bit too thick for me.
Very clean older but totally remodeled hotel. Beautiful room, great staff. Everything was perfect. Location was right in the center of town. Close to restaurants and more. Walk in tiled shower, bright lighting, Ac and heat worked perfectly.
Upgraded classic u-shaped 2-story motel. Upgrade was not as much as many other similar properties. Price was much higher than expected, probably due to major events that weekend - at least I hope the rates were not their usual ones. My room was probably not one of the better ones - small, next to noisy pool, no outlet near desk.
In the midst of remodeling rooms - stayed in new room - will be great once new furniture is received. Decorators did good job of updating. Wallpaper a little dizzy mixed with dizzy carpets. Desk staff quaint but made us feel welcome.
As others have stated this hotel is undergoing renovation. We had room 112 which was very small but quiet. Our room had not been renovated but the bed was super comfy. A small issue with no kleenex in the kleenex holder and a broken floor lamp. Minor issues, the staff was so friendly it felt like family. We were directed to "Cafe Sabor" for dinner which was a quick walk from the hotel.Food there was awesome. The hotel's breakfast included scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, cereal, etc. It was quite good. Pool was closed for the season and we didn't use the jacuzzi. Next time we are through St. George we will stay here. Remember this hotel was build in the 50's so don't expect huge rooms. Once all the rooms are renovated I think this place will exceed your expectations.
The service here was exceptional. They anticipated my needs and asked if I needed anything else. Staff is very polite and professional. The hotel was under construction, as they refurbished the rooms, but workers stopped before 3 or 4 pm, so noise wasn't an issue. I stayed in a newly refurbished room and it was quite nice.
The rooms were updated, and in fact the entire facility was under renovations. The space is nice, but the bathrooms were tiny. This was an unusual Best Western in that the room entry was from the parking lot. Probably a better value can be had at the cheap motels down the street.
This is a smaller property built in the 50's that's undergoing a facelift. I've stayed here before because I know I can count on friendly staff, clean rooms, and a hot buffet breakfast (some BW-Plus properties offer only a cold continental breakfast or a "breakfast bag"). I'll be looking forward to staying here again after the facelift is completed.
I was very surprised to see the quality of Best Western Travel Inn! The rooms were great! Clean and cozy, the location was convenience. Besides that, I am very thankful to have a great start of 2018 staying in Best Western Travel Inn because of the kindness of the staffs and hotel manager. Something went wrong with our booking, the manager (was in the middle of something and got called back to the front office) solved our issue in no time with smile and great attitude. We have been staying at different Best Western a couple of times but this is THE Best Western that we will remember and definitely will stay again next time!
This hotel is my first choice when traveling on my yearly visits to Southern California and back to Utah for the National Association of Music Merchants trade show. Regardless of what time I arrive, I always receive a warm greeting. The staff is always friendly and quick to acknowledge customers whenever they enter the office. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and most importantly quiet, even with the location on the main drag in town. For a smaller place, their breakfast offering is nicely done, adding to the value they offer.
Room was comfortable and clean. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Food was yummy. Looking forward to seeing the new upgrades when I come back in 6 months. Never afraid to stay at a Best Western due to the consistency and comfort.
The staff here are excellent. They go out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible and greeted us warmly every morning that we came to the lobby for breakfast. Check in and check out were simple. The rooms are sizable with comfortable beds and everything is very clean. The Jacuzzi was also a nice treat. Would definitely recommend staying here.
Clean and VERY friendly service. Breakfast was also very good. Lots of variety. Also appreciated that they had rooms with three beds. Not a common option and great for families. Good place to stay for a quick overnight trip to Saint George.
Hotel was older but well maintained. Easy access to the freeway and close to many eating establishments. Reasonable price with parking at your door which we like. The area is far enough off the freeway that it was very quiet
This small hotel has everything we need when we visit St. George. The rooms are clean and the décor is nice and we've always had great service from the staff. They are friendly and helpful. They have recently switched to Direct TV in their rooms which is a nice amenity. And last but not least, the prices are very reasonable.
Spent one night here and hotel was clean, comfortable and quite. Got a good nights sleep. The included breakfast was OK. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel is in a nice location. Lots of food choices nearby - within a mile. I will stay here again on next visit.
It was attractive and comfortable. Friendly staff and easy on and off I-15. We chose a queen bed rather than a king and it was very comfortable. We used the hotel on our way home after a three week trip and it ranked up as well as any of our other accomodations.
Have stayed numerous times - older property but very well maintained. Small but comfortable rooms - decent breakfast including cooked oatmeal. Nice and clean outdoor heated pool with small but clean spa. Very good TV and WiFi.
We arrived late in the afternoon from Las Vegas. It's a motel style hotel with free breakfast in the morning. We got a room at the back on the ground floor. Ceiling was quite low, but room was spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable. But if its possible then choose a room at the front on the first floor. This because the guests above us started running marathons at 5 am in the morning! A lot of people left early because st george is popular for Zion NP. The breakfast is basic but good. Fresh waffles is all I need!! Wifi was good and quite fast. I would defenitely stay here again. Rates are very good.
The staff here are the best (thank you, Sam!) clean, no cockroaches, comfortable bed, great breakfast and kids love the pool. Couldn't ask for better! Has always been quiet too! We always go here on our yearly trip to the area. Always reliable!
This place has friendly staff and comfortable rooms. The room had character, spacious and spotless. It is close to great restaurants in walking distance. The staff were very helpful in offering suggestions. We went to a Thai restaurant nearby and enjoyed a fabulous supper. It was so busy that the service was slow. it was still worth it. We pull a utility trailer and needed extra space. There is parking around the back for larger vehicles.
This hotel is wonderful! The staff are amazing and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The beds are super comfortable. The location is perfect and it is close to all the finer points of Saint George. The location is quiet even though it is on the main street in Saint George.
There are three Best Western hotels in St. George and this is the cheapest and most basic of them. Rooms are not as spacious as in the more expensive places and they are a bit dark, but with all the natural wonders in the area, chances are you won't spend much time here during daytime anyway. Despite being a bit dated, the rooms have everything you need - fridge, microwave, coffee maker. The bathroom looked quite old, too, but they do have dispensers for shampoo, conditioner and shower gel which is something I always appreciate, in contrast to all those little plastic bottles that add up to so much trash. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They took good care of breakfast (which is your usual Best Western fare) and made sure that everything was available, even when there were lots of people.
Great place to stay. Easy to get to off the interstate. Lovely room, very helpful people working there. The bed was as comfortable as my bed at home. Plenty of light to read and do my hair. Pool area was very clean and inviting.
I choose the Travel Inn above all of the other properties in St. George because of the Service and friendlyness of the staff. Also parking in front of my room is very important. The property is very well kept, the pool & Spa spotless and the food is good..
Most of the staff there were very friendly and helpful! Our tv wasn't working, and it took them less than five minutes after we called for them to fix it. We booked for three nights but only stayed two. We were issued a refund for that third night! Very accommodating! Breakfast was varied and good. Great location just down the street from the freeway exits, and plenty of restaurants nearby. Will definitely book here again!
If you are looking for a clean friendly motel in St George then I think the Travel Inn will do. The staff at check in and departure and breakfast were very friendly and knowledgeable. This is an older hotel but the room I stayed in was clean and comfortable. It is within close driving distance to a number of good restaurants. If you are looking for a lower cost alternative in St. George than I think you will be pleased with the Travel Inn.
This innkeeper knows his profession. He keeps the property fresh, clean and comfort. His treats staff like family and they are pleased to be employed by him. We will always stay at The Travelers Inn - Best Western when staying at St. George, UT.
Was friendly and helpful. In asking where the ice machine was Allan(sp?) not only indicated WHERE the machine was but got up and walked over to the location and made sure I knew exactly was to obtain the ice. That was going the extra mile. Thanks Allan!
In town for the St. George Marathon--a really huge event, that is located 3 blocks away from this property (the reason we selected it). Plenty of price gouging everywhere in the city this weekend, and BW was no exception. Was snapped at when arriving to know if we had a reservation (which we did, made through the BW website nearly a year ago)--mumbling about people wanting a room on a busy weekend. Staff was woefully uninformed about the marathon, road closures, and said that there was a "shuttle" from the hotel to the race (no there isn't). There should have been information signs or sheets given to each guest informing them of road closures or details about how BW was helping guests with their marathon details. The room itself was really small and there are not the modern niceties of bedside lamps with plugs for phones. We noticed that illegal daisy-chaining of extension cords had been done behind the bed for the lamps and clock. Air conditioning unit is still a manually controlled window unit that was noisy and didn't seem to cool the room really well all night. Bathroom sink was nice and new, but the tub had tile, grout/sealer that was certainly 25 + years old. The bed was very soft and comfy. For such a tiny room, they smashed 2 oversize arm chairs. The TV remote didn't work. I would not stay here again.
We stayed a quick night at this Travel Inn. Clean and comfortable. We used their three bed suite and appreciated the set up. Efficient staff checked us in quickly. Appreciated the one story building so no stairs. Would definitely stay here again.
Service was great, beds comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Not a lot of seating, but ok. Front desk people very helpful and friendly. Housekeeping was great...This hotel was close to fun shopping and food. Area is beautiful. Close to entertainment. Many historic places to see in the area.
Be very careful in asking about the room cleaning if you will be there more than one day. Floor vacuumed, bed made properly, etc. The food service was excellent and prepared by local staff. The front desk help was kind and cheerful but I guess after being gone all day I expected a clean, neat room.
Travelling across The USA from Atlanta to Vegas we stayed for 1 night at this motel. Excellent motel, excellent value for money, excellent rooms with excellent staff. Highly recommend this hotel. If in St George look nowhere else.
Miss Best Western was clean, comfortable, and the welcome stop on our way home from Lake Powell. For whatever reason, I was not able to access my Best Western rewards account coming through the desert . So, I called the site directly and was taken care of. Would not hesitate to stay there again.
Room was clean, breakfast bar was well-stocked and warm, used the nice, heated pool even after the sun set, front desk staff was super friendly. The A/C unit in the room couldn't quite counteract southern Utah heat, but everything else was great!
They showed a model room that is under remodel that will be really nice. The fellow that showed us the room under remodel was proud of the work and design. The rooms now are nice but they are turning this into a boutique motel. 30 rooms and it was quiet. Nice stay.
Stayed on our way back home. Perfect stop coming from the east and not too far from Vegas too. They have nice, clean rooms, very Friendly staff, Wi-Fi, pool and hot tub, priced right! Booked 20 minutes prior and they even called us on the road. I would definitely stay here again on another journey.
Had a good time and stay after a long day on the road from Williams AZ, on the motorcycle the pool and the room was just what i needed to relax and cool off. Would recommend this hotel to stay in the future.
This was such a cute hotel. Don't let the size of the rooms stop you from staying here. They are a little small, but the layout is very convenient and decor is tasteful. The room is very comfortable and amazingly clean. I feel like they really went out of their way to make it comfortable with little things like charging stations bedside, towel bars in good places, and separate sink area so it's not in with the toilet and shower. Also, I had forgotten my toiletries and the ones provided are good quality.
We lucked out on our way to view the 2017 Eclipse without reservations. The front desk was friendly & efficient. The room clean & comfy; older but well maintained. Excellent food was within walking distance- a real plus since we had just spent several hours in the car. As is often the case in older facilities the air conditioner was quite noisy. (It gets a lot of work in St. George I am sure.) but if I had remembered my earplugs I would have not been bothered.
Have stayed here many times this last year and love it! Will be here often over the next year or two due to family being in area. We do recommend this hotel; the pool is clean, the beds are comfortable, the staff is friendly and has a great breakfast too.
Perfect. Just what I had hoped for. Friendly , neat , and a great price for a spacious family room. The food for breakfast was filling and had a great variety for all ages. Don;t look any further for a great hotel this one has it all, trust me.
Wonderful place to stay! Excellent service, the lady at check-in was awesome. Great location, with clean comfortable rooms. I would highly recommended this Best Western Travel Inn to friends and will probably stay there again.
This was a very clean and comfortable motel. I like that they offer a room with 3 beds in it, not just 2 beds and a pull out couch. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. I'll happily stay here again if I find myself back in St. George.
Friendly staff, very clean property, very quiet which was great after a day on the road, great breakfast selections, everything was hot and delicious. Particularly loved the fresh cookies ipon check-in! No complaints!!
We went for a sisters weekend and the 3 beds were perfect! It was clean and the a/c worked great. Very small bathroom, and not great lighting in the room, but it didn't deter our enjoyment. It is also really close to a lot of restaurants. The pool was pretty empty most of the time. The Jacuzzi is tiny as well, they could have had it filled a little better though, the water level was low. Overall, really great!
Clean clean clean. Friendly helpful staff. Good breakfast. Nice pool and hot tub area. Plenty of seating around pool. Quiet area. Close to resturants and highway. Good location for visiting canyons. Truly a hidden gem
St. George is a great place to stop when heading from California to Utah's many attractions, especially if you don't want to deal with Las Vegas. This Best Western is right on the main drag in St. George, close to restaurants and (importantly) Neilsen's legendary frozen custard. Jacob was manning the desk and he took very courteous care of us, giving us a nice room with a surprisingly comfortable king bed. The room was impeccably clean and the place looked like it had undergone some updating. None of the usual bare or spotted carpet, etc that you often expect in a motel of this vintage (60s or early 70s, I'm guessing). There was also a hot breakfast in the morning, a BW staple. All in all, a very good value for weary travelers who don't need fancy. I would for sure do it again next time through St. George and the beautiful red rock area of southern Utah. It's a straight shot down St. George Blvd from the I-15, which makes it easy to find.
We were traveling home to California from SLT, Ut. and St. George was our choice for dinner and sleep. This motel was recommended by our brother and aunt as basic but very clean, well cared for and a good value. We found it to be all of the above!
The Best Western Travel Inn in St. George was affordable and easy to get to from the freeway. The amenities were about the same as other hotels - no frills - but we were offered chocolate chip cookies at check in. The room was small but clean.
Extremely helpful staff! Thankful for the care and pride that went into this hotel. We live out of state and visit St. George occasionally. While other hotels have been decent, this one stood out for the attention to detail and helpfulness of the staff.
Staff willing to go out of their way to accommodate, always asking if you need anything. Property and rooms were very clean and inviting. Breakfast was better than expected, freshly made biscuits every morning. I would recommend this property to anyone. Thanks again!
Traveling from Southern CA to Salt Lake City. Great location to stop and break up the drive. Room was great. Having three beds was a plus along with the microwave and mini fridge. Front Desk team were wonderful and made check-in and checkout smooth and friendly. Breakfast was great!
The hotel was clean, quiet and friendly. The pool was nice and heated. The breakfast was well cooked and organized. There were eggs, bacon, sausage, muffins, yogurt, cereal, toast, bagels, oatmeal, and waffles. Nice stay. Will definitely go back.
Wonderful old school hotel feel. Smaller rooms but the recent exterior remodel was superb. The expansion of the lobby was also helpful with the layout of the breakfast. Seating at breakfast was a bit small at times, although if you relax, the items are offered were great. The staff as usual was very professional and helpful.
Friendly efficient staff offering to help with any questions. It would be nice if the pool was open a little later - it was extremely hot while we were there. This is a nice clean hotel and the price is fair, just to stop in on your way to somewhere or even spend a couple days in St. George.
This is an older hotel, but very clean. We stayed here because they had an option for a room with 3 beds. With two teenagers who refuse to sleep in the same bed, I was thrilled to have a room with 3 comfortable beds.
I like the U shape configuration of the hotel layout. It is single story so you can drive right up to your room and not have people above you. It is conveniently located about a mile or so off the highway so it is quiet, but close enough to the highway for easy access. It is also very close to the shops at Zion. The heated pool was wonderful and deep (8 feet). The chairs along the pool were very cozy to recline in and relax. The breakfast was good and the staff was very helpful/friendly.
BW Travel Inn is a very decent hotel. With a "U" shaped single story (see exception below) motel configuration Travel Inn is located in the middle of St George very near historic sites and restaurants (within walking distance) including the LDS Temple and Tabernacle as well as a city park which includes a Merry Go Round. The Travel Inn is owned by the same people who own BW Coral Hills and BW Abbey Inn - the latter being one of the nicest hotels in St George. The rooms are a typical configuration but slightly larger than some, with the exception of a rather small but functional bathroom. The bathroom also has a window which provides good daylight (or mild night light at night). The rooms are clean and appear to have been recently redone (at least the one we were in). Breakfast is the somewhat standard scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, small pastry, cereal, juice, waffles, etc. The pool and hot tub (small hot tub) are in good condition and were enjoyable. The staff was not exceptional but was friendly and helpful. We would have no problem starying here again. Note: The hotel is currently undergoing some lobby and entrance renovations which were not a particular problem during our visit. The hotel is built on a slope and does one bank of rooms under the south section. No bathroom window in those rooms. All rooms have grade level entrances.
Great customer service, clean and comfy room, and great location- less than 1 hour from Mount Zion and a few blocks from hwy 15. Convienant visible parking lot, WiFi and breakfast. I highly recommend.
Rooms were muggy and not very clean. The front desk staff seemed frazzled and very unorganized. The only good thing about this hotel was the location. I guess you get what you pay for. I definitely will not stay here again.
They were very friendly staff here. Everyone was happy from the receptionist to the cleaning crew. It was a pleasant stay. It was very clean. Newly renovated. The new work in the sauna was beautiful. We enjoyed this day much more than we thought. We will be coming back here next time! Thank you for the wonderful stay!
I couldn't have been more pleased with the service. they were in the middle of construction and it was still wonderful stay. We were given extra a mad his for being gold members and that was assertive for the kids. Pool area extra plus
Great beat western. An older property but the room have been redone. The lobby is under renovation now. Room are clean and all have outside doors. This bestweateen is only one floor. There is a guest laundry
Room was nice, staff was nice. We stopped here on our way down to California. The staff was very helpful and the rooms were clean, and quiet. We arrived late so we could not swim, but have swam here in the past. They main entrance was under a remodel, but it was still easily accessible.
At my insistence, the manager issued me a 50 dollar credit off the room price for the following reasons: 1.Bed bug evidence in room 125 with fresh blood stains bed bug covers on top and bottom mattresses on both beds. 2. Moved into another room that was dirty and not cleaned properly a. Uncleaned bathtub b. Dirty bathroom floor c. un wiped vanity top d. really dusty and dirty mirror over desk e. totally clogged bathroom sink with NO water going down I had work to do for my meeting the next day and was unable to move hotels at such a late hour., or I would have. The manager came in and fixed the sink and cleaned the room again, and I insisted on a full no charge for the room but he agreed to 50 % off. 3. On another note, I needed relaxation when I arrived because I had some important work to do for my meeting, and the entire front of the hotel was ripped apart with noisy construction going on. I booked my room DIRECTLY with the front desk (not through 800 #) and was immediately upset that I was not told about the construction when I booked my room. I was so stressed that I hardly slept that night and was unrested for my business meeting the next day.
The rooms are small, but very clean and nicely appointed. The rooms include clock radio, coffee maker, hair dryer, flat iron and ironing board, refrigerator and microwave. Free Wifi that worked well. They even sanitize the TV remote. All the rooms are on ground level. Great location, three blocks from Main St. The desk provides beach towels for the heated pool and spa. The mattress was not firm. You can see construction from the street, but they are remodeling the lobby area and it doesn't impact the rooms at all. Staff was helpful and friendly.
Pretty standard lower end hotel. We chose due to the price, so I can't complain too much, but there are a few things that weren't up to par for me. Rooms: Bed, carpet, furniture was all fairly new and nice. This was a plus. The A/C wasn't very good, and we were hot for most of the night despite it being set to high A/C and the thermostat being turned almost entirely to cold. Wouldn't want to stay here in the summer if the A/C still isn't great. Entering and exiting the bathroom was very cramped, but the bathroom itself was fine. Wifi here was very slow in our room. We ended up turning wi-fi off and just using cell networks/phone hotspots because it was faster. The hot tub/pool area was somewhat small but seemed nice. We didn't get a chance to use them due to a late dinner, but the pool was a nice temperature when we dipped our feet in. Hot tub is indoors, which is nice for winter but kind of a bummer for the rest of the year. Breakfast was great, enjoyed having oatmeal, eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits, and gravy in addition to the normal cold breakfast food served at most hotels.
We took a family room that slept 6 which was extremely nice to have three queen beds together! Breakfast was good and service was friendly and thorough. The location was nice, you could walk around town easily.
I stayed here for a cycling event in St George. The room itself was fairly small, but I was solo, and not looking for a resort stay. The check-in process was easy and the staff was super friendly. I loaded up on free hot breakfast before the event. The selection of items quite wide, much larger than just a typical coffee and pastries. It was a few blocks from the main attractions in the city itself, and would be a suitable base for expanded trips in the area.
For my first time staying in St George I found booking an available hotel particularly difficult because everything was booked up. I usually stay in a Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn Express, or similar but they weren't available. This place had availability and it was just fine. It's a small, quaint, old-style motor inn where you park in front of your door. The room was pleasant, bed comfortable, bathroom clean. The check in/breakfast area was small, but every employee I encountered was friendly and eager to please, so it was ok. The best part was I could easily walk from the motel to the "downtown" area where I ate at Twenty-five Main, Twisted Noodle Cafe, and George's Corner Cafe, and peruse the shops and parks. After seeing how spread out St George is, I'm very happy I selected this motel because I enjoy being able to walk places. And as a woman staying by myself, I felt quite safe. I would definitely return to this location.
The was a great little roadside stop. The rooms are spacious, beds are comfy and the staff is incredible friendly. The breakfast buffet is amongst the best you'll find and you are within walking distance of several great restaurants in a charming neighborhood.
Your legs hit the toilet bowl and door when you close the bathroom door. The parking is musical chairs. The window overlooks sidewalk, car/parking lot, and busy road. I have allergies and I requested no harsh chemicals or fragrances in the room, but they used an aerosol spray or similar, so the room it literally making me feel sick.
We had to split our road trip into two days because of bad weather. This hotel was perfect for a clean, quite, comfortable place to stay. The staff was great. The room was just what we needed. Breakfast was perfect.
We arrived in the afternoon. We expected to have coffee or tea in the lobby. There was nothing. This Hotel is one level and has minimum amenities. I would not stay here again. I have always liked BW and am a Rewards member but this hotel was below their normal standard.
Nice location and you can park your car by your room. The rooms are not real large, but they are comfy and very clean. Bathroom is quite small, but area outside of bathroom provides large mirror, hair dryer and gives you two areas to get ready from. The bed was very comfortable with a choice of pillows to fit your needs. It was very quiet there and we had a good nights sleep. The breakfast they provide is one of the best we have had, with hot choices, cereals, waffles, etc.. along with nice seating area. We would definitely stay here again.
This stay was unscheduled , we stay at this location a lot. It was my first choice when i needed a room. They were happy to see me and provided excellent service.Only downside, My wife stayed at a medical facility , i stayed in a comfortable motel.
I have stayed here in the past when visiting St. George. I enjoy the unique southwest architecture of the building and the convenient parking right outside your door. The pool area is great and the breakfast is an added feature to start the day. The staff is very helpful and friendly. It is conveniently located near several restaurants and tourist spots. I will be back.
We stayed in St George on a trip to Zion National Park. It was clean and offered a great breakfast. The place was full but it was very quiet. It was convenient for getting to the park. I would stay here again without a doubt.
We needed an extra room and they made sure there was one, front desk help was very accommodating, and helpful Close by many different places to eat or go to a store It has a swimming pool not very big, but enough to cool down in and swim some
Stopped through on the way to California. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice area, great bed, very good breakfast. There are many restaurant choices in the area within walking distance as well as by car. Beautiful scenery.
This appears to be an older motel that has been renovated and while the rooms are clean and well maintained they are not up to the standards that we expect from Best Western Plus properties. The free breakfast is a full breakfast but once again lacks the variety we've enjoyed at other BW Plus properties.
The room was cleaner than most, not that stuffy smell. The sheets were clean and crisp, towels nice and white. The mattress was lumpy and could probably be replaced. The pillows were good though. I would stay again.
We were very satisfied with This Best Western, service, and comfort. Wasn't happy with the fact that just because it was their busy time, they would not offer or honor their senior/AARP discount. The beds were comfortable, rooms clean, service was very good.
Good place to stay - just not on a busy weekend - rates are a tad elevated. Decent continental breakfast. Bring your own shampoo - I hate those dispensing units on the wall in the shower. Facility was nice, neat and tidy.
We spent one night here before moving on to Zion Park. For 6 of us we got a comfortable room with three queen beds at the back of the property /downstairs from the main platform/. For us, Ontarians from Canada, the inn had a special southern feel to it and we liked it. There was a basic but nice pool and hot tub as well. Price - can't be beat. 140 USD all included. Great breakfast in the morning with all the basics plus bacon! Tasty and well prepared. That was the first time in our travels that we enjoyed bacon at continental breakfast. Maybe it was special because it was Sunday morning. We would recommend this Best Western Travel Inn to other travellers.
This place was pretty nice. Within walking and driving distance of many restaurants. We used this as a base for Zion Nat'l Park, within a couple hour's drive. Cheaper than many of the hotels closer to the park.
The bathrooms are too small. There is little room around the sink area. My husband has trouble raising his arms at the sink because the wall is too close to the sink. Regardless, we choose to stay at the Travel Inn in St. George. We appreciate the facts it is one story and we are able to park our car in front of our room. The staff are all very helpful . We love staying here!
Our room was comfortable, clean, and reasonably priced given the demand for rooms in St. George during the Huntsman Games. Staff was helpful and friendly. Complimentary breakfast was good. Our room was on the lower-level, back side of the hotel and exposed to the afternoon sun. The A/C kept the room comfortable during our mid-October stay, but might be marginal during pear summer heat. Also, rooms on this level have a lower than normal ceiling (7 feet or possibly less). It was OK for me as a 6-footer, but taller persons might be uncomfortable. I would stay here again were I to visit St. George in the future.
My wife and I needed an overnight stay in St. George on a Saturday during the Huntsman World Senior Games. We considered ourselves lucky to score a room at a reasonable price at this centrally located motel. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was included and the selection of breakfast items was adequate with the best being the waffles and the coffee. The only complaint was the small vanity area and a very small bath/toilet room with a door that took great effort to close. Overall, I can recommend this Best Western property for a short stay of one or two nights.
This is the least expensive of the three Best Westerns in St George, Utah. I stayed just the one night, arriving late to find a clean, fresh room with everything in order and nicely appointed. The sigle story 'court-style' motel has a friendly staff, off-street parking and two charging stations for electric cars... a forward thinking accomodation. My quick breakfast was fine and the breakfest room small but ok for the small motel. My only complaint was an outside air conditioner or other mechanical device (ice machine perhaps?) that cycled on and off periodically throughout the night. This however may have been to the location of my room that was right next to the motel office. Ask for a higher numbered room away from the motel office when reserving.
We arrived at the St. George Airport, and stayed the night at the Best Western Travel Inn as it was late after the flight and picking up the black rental car. The night clerk was very professional. The breakfast in the lobby was good the next morning. After we had already checked out of our room and were loading the car to begin our 1,000 mile+, 10 day vacation- one moment my husband had his cell phone, and the next moment he didn't. We both searched the rental car inside and out and the trunk..no phone. We asked the maid staff if we could get back into our former room, in the midst of their cleaning. We searched it twice, and the maid staff helpfully searched it twice again. Still no phone (which was on airport mode so we couldn't call it). The staff volunteered to search the ice room, and looked over the parking lot and around the car. Still no phone. The breakfast manager looked around the lobby, no phone. This all took about 1/2 hour. My husband then had a "eureka" moment and again searched the compartment under the car radio-the phone (black on black) was lodged up sideways against the panel, and when originally searched had seemed like part of the compartment. We really appreciated the concern and cheerfulness of the staff, who all the while during the search had their daily routine disrupted. We left St. George with a very good feeling toward the Best Western.
I've stayed here for the Huntsman Sr Games for the past 3 years and have enjoyed my stay each time, which is why I return. The rooms are clean and the staff is very friendly. Really enjoy the whirlpool, also! The location of the hotel is within walking distance to many restaurants so it is not necessary to always drive to one.
Excellent motel, very quiet and clean...nice breakfast as well. The motel is very close to the downtown area which features several restaurants. It sits across from some red rock ledge which you do not see in Ohio. A very pleasant experience indeed.
Helpful Staff, central location, Great Breakfast. Good Amenities. Comfortable Beds, Clean rooms, Nice patio to sit and visit with friends. Overall would stay here again on our next trip to St. George, UT
Recommended, would stay here again when I visit St. George, UT. Very comfortable place to stay. Helpful Staff, offered good information on local attractions, and directions to various events. Good Wi-Fi service, Very good Breakfast.
Always clean and comfortable bed. Have stayed several times to attend nearby Tuachan Amphitheater. Breakfast is always a good start to the day with many choices. Office and Service staff always friendly and helpful.
Even though this property isn't "new," I want to say it was the best one I've stayed at in years (yes - I said "years")! Breakfast was better than any others I can remember. The beds and TV appeared to be high quality and the room was very clean. The best part of the experience was the friendliness and attention from the motel staff. I couldn't recommend a better place for the money in the entire St. George area.
Fabulous hotel, beautifully decorated and maintained. Sarah is wonderful and the cleaning staff is great. Very friendly people and I wish this hotel was closer to my home (2000 miles away). I can't say enough good about this hotel.
This was the best hotel we stayed in on our vacation. Fabulous and friendly staff, especially Sarah. Super clean, comfortable and well decorated. Can't say enough about how nice it was. Clean room, good location, good food, Sarah and cleaning staff were super friendly.
This was such a cute little motel! Although the room was very small, it was so tastefully decorated and extremely clean that we didn't mind it. It reminded us of the type of motels that we used to stay at back in the 60s when we were growing up. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast selection was great. I loved that they packaged their own yogurt in little cups and had different toppings to put on it. There are only 31 rooms and it is a one-story motel, so we were able to pull up right in front of our door. We only stayed overnight, so we didn't get to check out the pool, but we did see that they had a hot tub in a separate indoor room. Adorable motel!
We stayed at this hotelat the beginning of our journey, September 12, 2016. We arrived after 9 pm. Mr. Ishwar was very helpful, even suggesting we park our motorcycle in a slot right in front of the lobby, to keep an eye on it. The room was spotless and smelled great. Very quiet, we were able to have a restful night. Breakfast was great! Eggs, sausage, bacon, of course waffles, biscuits, etc. Everything looked fresh and the place was very clean. We decided to stay here at the end of our trip Sept. 19, 2016. Mr. Ishwar was very accommodating. I misplaced my Kindle, and when I searched for it, Mr. Ishwar had already found it and placed it in the safe.
We are on an extended road trip and arrived in St. George later than expected. Being Sunday there were few restaurants open. The desk clerk spent quite some time helping me find a restaurant. Check in was quick and accurate. The rooms were on the small size with a large screen tv, two queen beds. The bathroom was also small with the sink outside. Bathroom amenities were standard. Wifi was fast. Breakfast was the standard hotel breakfast. We would definitely stay there if in the area again
All Brand new. New concrete driveway, New painted building, carpeting. Safe parking, in historic part of town. Very nice staff. New redecorated rooms with beds, tvs, showers, decorations. Handicap Accessable. Lots of towels and soap. hair dryers. I had a 2 queen 1 full bed suite. staff very polite , breakfast was standard but freshly made.
Im pretty picky. I usually wont consider less than a four star hotel, but this is a baseball tournament trip, so I have learned we need to cut the cost. I paid such a great price for a beautiful place with fresh paint, flower pots, the carpet looked new, the room was very large, and the FREE breakfast was great! I will stay here again when we are in St George for sure.
Ended up staying 2 night at the beginning of the 2 week trip and 3 nights towards the end for a total of 5. Easy drive to Zion NP but there are towns that are closer but not at this price which was $65 mid=week. Plus an excellent free breakfast. Nice outdoor pool. Room are outside entrance. The room I had was very good. Room 120. This hotel is in the center of St. George and 2 minutes from the interstate. St. George is a big town and has everything you need.
This is a great property to stay at because it has all the things I look for when traveling. Clean, Comfy, Staff is Knowledgeable about the area and Professional. All within the budget I have to work with. I plan on using this hotel property again when in the area and highly recommend. There is plenty of shops, eats and treats within walking distance or you can drive down a few blocks as well. Great Job to the BW Team!
Very clean and comfortable. Bed was wonderful. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was pretty normal but it was all we needed or wanted. The pool was very inviting. Location was easy to find. Even though on Main Street we never heard road noises. I would stay here again.
The property is a one story motel arrangement set up in a U-shape. The office (which houses the registration & breakfast areas) is at the end near the street with the pool area (including an indoor spa) set at the opposite end of the U-shape. You are no overwhelmed when you pull in but you can park in front of your room. Remember those days??? A bit old fashion but it quickly became FUN. Check in was painless. The room was nicer than expected. There is a small refrigerator and microwave. We did have a bit of A/C noise. The bed was comfortable. The linens and bedding were clean. Indeed the entire property was clean. Easy access to the amenities in town. Our room was a few rooms back from the street. We did not experience any highway (street) noise. Wifi was good. Coffee was provided in the room. The complimentary breakfast was average for a free hotel breakfast. I would point out that the breakfast service and the eating area were well kept. All staff members were friendly and helpful. For the price paid for our room, we felt we received a good value. We would definitely stay at this property again should we have reason to visit St. George.
As a rewards member I always look for a Best Western when I travel. I stayed at least 20 nights at Best Western Hotels across the country this year. Only in one did I have a bad experience. This one in St. George rated high as just about all BW do. The young woman at check in and check out was very pleasant and helpful. The room was perfect. Five stars for me.
The desk clerks were very helpful in directing us to a good place to eat and what to see. The room was clean and the beds were nice. They have a great breakfast and I love to be able to park my car close to my room. I have stayed here many times and will continue to stay when in the area.
all employees at this property have excellent service skills. Debra from the front desk came to our rescue and was able to fix ja security alarm failure in our car. it was a holiday and we were looking at having to stay over if she hadn't come to our rescue, great attitude and service. thank you.
This is a very cute motel, designed in the 50's and extremely well kept. Our room was spacious and comfortable. There is a nice outdoor pool, you can park at the door, and the room rate surprised us. You can walk to some nice restaurants, The breakfast was far above average with many pleasant touches. This is a very nice place to stay. We loved it.
Easy to find and convenient location. All staff were pleasant and accommodating. Clean, comfortable rooms. Beds and pillows were cozy. Fast internet, no problems. Breakfast was very good, lots of options. Pool and hot tub were a blast!
Would stay here again without question. This is an old-style, U-shaped motel building with great upgrades to the rooms and lobby. The free breakfast offers a complete range of cereals, breakfast meats, toasts, eggs, make-your-own waffles, muffins, etc. The room had a wide-screen, flat panel TV with tons of stations. Free WiFi that worked! The staff was very friendly and had suggestions for dining.
Since most motels don't have elevators, you generally have to choose between climbing stairs and having tromping around over your head. Fortunately this motel is one story so we didn't have to make that choice. It was clean and comfortable, and conveniently located near the interstate, but I should warn people that the northbound turn off the interstate onto the main drag is VERY CONFUSING, especially at night when it is hard to see where the road is going. You end up on the left side of the street, which is very unusual and disconcerting to a new visitor. So watch out for that if you are heading north.
This hotel offers rooms with 3 queen beds (sleeps 6) and was well located in central St George. Within walking distance of several unique shops and eateries! The feeling of a charming old down town is all around you. Staff was very friendly and there when you needed them. Nice pool and great breakfast. Would recommend to anyone.
We were tired after driving all day and looked forward to a good rest. Our room was clean, very comfortable and quiet. We got up in the morning and made coffee in our room. We went to the office and I was so happy to find my favorite yogurt to go with cooked oatmeal. The dining room was not crowded so we did not have to compete for space. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly. The check in and check out process went very smoothly.
Made a last minute reservation while on the road. Pleasantly surprised when we checked in. Professional & friendly staff made us feel welcome immediately. Without a doubt the best value for our $$. A clean simple room with everything we needed for travel. Several good restaurants nearby. An overall excellent experience. Highly recommend this for travelers looking to stay 1 or 2 nights.
From the outside view I was not expecting the rooms to be a nice as they were. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast was nicely done. One of the nicest hotels we stayed in on this trip.
We saw the outside and thought it may not be what we expected but what a wrong thought as it was much better possibly better all the hotels in St George. The Smile when we came in to registered meant so much. The room was such a delight. The town has some of the best restaurants.
Best Western inn was a good choice for us! We were with 6 friends, making a one month road trip. We wanted to visit Zion and Bryce. We slept with 6 in a room which i believed was okay (price-quality) The first morning we wanted to get up more early than breakfast hours, so one of the staff members agreed that we could have our breakfast a bit earlier, that was great! Breakfast was good, with enough choice. The staff helped us with all our questions or problems. We were also very glad with the swimming pool, that gave us a little refreshement after the walks in the beautiful national parks. Thanks for the great stay!
This motel is small and simple but simply amazing. It is old but is in spotless condition. We stayed in a family suite that had three beds. It was very, very comfortable. The bathroom was small as others have stated, but it was also spotless as was everything else. Breakfast was good and the staff were outstanding. We walked to dinner downtown which actually turned out to be a hot walk even though it was late in the evening. Would probably drive next time. If I ever find myself visiting St. George again I will strongly consider staying here.
They were booked solid. We asked why that was. Well this was Friday night, mid-July and this is the nearest city to Zion National Park. They could not refer us to any other hotel, but she looked again and found they had a cancellation. It was a family room and a bit pricey for this hotel but we were tired and took it. The room was located around the corner and in back, a basement level room. Clean enough, but being a family room, the two of us had two queen beds and one double bed. We thought about sub-letting the other two beds to someone off the street. LOL We also had to park our car on the street. Strangely enough, there was a single family home located just in front of our hotel door (the only house on the block). When we got up in the morning they had a lawn sprinkler on and it was spraying the sidewalk in front of our door. We had to gingerly avoid getting wet. Breakfast was included with the room, but it was terrible. Supposed to be hot, but everything was cold including the biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs...did they forget to heat them up? Coffee was okay.
We've stayed here before, always on way home from a car trip. This was our last of 9 nights. Room was comfy, clean and shower worked great. The pool towels provided were better than most. The breakfast was very good - eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, not to mention the waffles found everywhere.
This is an older hotel but it is very well maintained. This hotel is spotless inside and out. The staff is wonderful and breakfast was very good, the rates are very reasonable. It is close to downtown and many very good restaurants
This is our second time staying at this BW. My only complaint was that the HD channels on the TV were not working. Hopefully, they will address this before your visit. Rooms are small but the price for the stay is very economical, considering breakfast is included.
Awesome place. Well cared for, tastefully updated 50's era motor inn with modern technology built in. They even have a Tesla car charger! The gals who welcomed us were polite, enthusiastic and knowledgable about the area. Zion National Park was a short drive away. Old St. George is delightful. So much to see and do. We were so impressed that we stayed another day. I could have spent a week there and would have plenty left to do for several return trips.
We had a quiet stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The internet worked great. Our room was clean, even though it looked like it could use a little updating. Our bed was comfortable. A little high priced for the value, but a good place to stay.
This is a very clean, well run motel with everything a traveler needs, including parking right outside your door. Excellent, caring staff and great prices. Beds are comfortable, air conditioning works great, in-room coffee as well as coffee in the lobby and a nice little breakfast. Nice staff and other guests, as well.
Well kept small one floor/motor type hotel with easy access/one floor only to major highway where from I had to travel for the day (to Las Vegas) and the university where I had a meeting. Small outdoor pool that's perfect to you relax and great dedicated, very helpful staff even the room was a bit small for 2 people!
This is a great little hotel in St. George. Don't let the size fool you, it just means you get more personal attention from the employees. This is where I always choose to stay in St. George. The breakfast is good with a nice variety of items, both hot and cold. The rooms are very clean with plenty of towels. A shout out to Carina B. and Eva H. for keeping our room spotless! Emily P. was so sweet at the front desk. The bed was very comfortable and just what we needed after a day of hiking in Zions Nat. Park. The pool was clean and inviting. You are also right in the middle of several things to do in town. I have recommended this hotel to all my friends and will return again myself!
The hotel is very clean and well maintained. It is an older property so there are a few minor things that could use a little paint or repair but overall everything worked fine and everything was kept clean
Great stay for a great price. Breakfast had a wide variety of selection, and the food was tasty. Room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. Employee at front desk and reservation did a great job to get me set up for tickets at Tuacahn - she was awesome
Although this looks like a small "Mom and Pop" motel the rooms have been extensively renovated. The decor was great, the bed was comfortable, there was plenty of light for those that like to read and two comfortable chairs. The breakfast was good with lots of choices for either a hot or cold meal. The staff were all personable and helpful. Cheerfulness counts in my book. They have thought of everything too, including special towels (rags) to clean your bike, bicycle or boots with. Being so close to many national parks they are definitely thinking ahead. And I'm sure trying to protect their regular linens. I will be staying here whenever I am on my way to Salt Lake City to visit relatives. It's a great little place and centrally located.
This was the last hotel we stayed at during our 10-day southwestern vacation, and it was a great way to end the trip. The woman working the desk at check-in was very nice and gave us a list of nearby restaurants and services and made sure that we had what we needed for the night. The room was fine, your typical Best Western hotel room. All amenities worked as expected. Wi-Fi was good - we were able to stream Game of Thrones on our laptop (not HD but that is fine). Breakfast was included, and offered both hot and cold options. This hotel offers an excellent value for the price!
It's not always easy to find room for a party of five, with a pool and a breakfast, in a comfy neighborhood, without blowing the budget. This property hits all those bases. This is the third year in a row we stayed on our Phoenix-Idaho trek with grandchildren. Breakfast is excellent, we had three beds, and the pool was fine. See you next year!
Stayed at the Travel inn in Sept. 2015 and returned in May 2016. Total of 5 nights. Good location, easy to get to off I-15. Quiet, very nice breakfast. Comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Some decent restaurants with-in walking distance. Easy drive to Zion and then on to Bryce.
After asking for a room that wouldn't require climbing stairs, we were given a room that required climbing stairs. On checkin after dark, the room was at about 90 degrees F. It took 2 1/2 hours to get it to cool down. It wasn't worth the trouble to stay here. I'll be staying elsewhere in the future.
Our family has used this hotel twice over a 3 month period and have always had a good experience with the staff. Great breakfast provided. We will use it again on our next visit to the St. George area in another 3 months or so.
This property offers great rates for St. George area. Since its affiliated with BW you get a good quality stay for the value. The pool is nice and well kept and the hot tub is always working. I have stayed here quite a few times for work trips and they do a consistent great Job.
I usually do t do this. I have to say what a great spot this lodging turned out to be. The parking is good, location is excellent, staff are exceptional and I would go again. I visited local restaurants and they are excellent. The town is one I will be revisiting and staying at thus best Western.
There are several hotels, motels and inns on St. George Blvd. at about the same price point so you may be more comfortable staying at another property. I traveled with my husband and we had a very small room, a queen room, maybe the smallest in the entire property. The wood paneling or dark wall paper made the room feel old, dark and cramped. The bedding was clean but not very soft. The bed was firm so that was good. The TV stand, desk, chairs and A/C took up most of the space around the bed. The bathroom was clean. I took a shower with the door open so I wouldn't feel so cramped in there. I moved the garbage can out of the bathroom since it was in the way. The AC was loud turning on and off throughout the night. The breakfast was average with a selection of hot items, pastries, oatmeal, juices and fresh fruit. There's only one table in the lobby for seating and additional seating in an adjacent room. I suggest staying at another property closer to the 15 so you'll be closer to freeway and your next destination, plus you'll have more comfortable accommodations.
Very nice, older hotel. Clean, great location near downtown. Staff was friendly and very willing to help. Breakfast was OK. The room was comfortable. FYI: one story and you can park right in front of your room.
I booked this hotel for a group of 5 adults and was totally satisfied with the space provided. There were hotels that we stayed during the same itinerary where we got a sofa with 2 queen beds even after booking the hotel for 5 adults.
Very friendly and helpful staff and well maintained rooms. Staff keeps the individual guest in mind and goes out of their way to make everything right and comfortable. I would use this same hotel for every business trip and personal stay as well.
We enjoyed the service, the breakfast and the location. We were looking for a go to place to stay in SG since we are down there fairly often. We found it!! Even though it is a little old, it is well maintained and the staff was great :)!!!
This is my fourth stay at Travel Inn. We like the convenient location near the Interstate yet within walking distance of many sites in town. My daughter commented to me at check out that when her head hit the pillow she was asleep within minutes because the mattress was so comfortable. She wanted me to get the same mattress for her bed at college/home. I also enjoy the larger rooms this hotel has.
We stayed at this Best Western over Memorial Weekend. It's a small hotel so there weren't a lot of people which made it nice and quiet. The hot breakfast was decent, they even had real oatmeal with toppings you could add yourself. That was a welcome change from the normal breakfasts.
i always try to stay at a best western. I know that I will received the best service for the buck I have always been treated with the best respect and service. When I have been forced to stay at other hotels I usually come away disappointed but not with Best Western.
The decor of the hotel gives you a feeling of home. Just 2 blocks down the street is the best restaurant in Utah (Georges). In fact Georges Restaurant served the best food I have ever eaten in an restaurant . Travel Inn and Georges puts you in Heaven. Check it out !
It looks like an ordinary hotel on the outside, but the inside of our room was spotless. You could tell this was an old hotel that was fully gutted and remodeled. Big screen TV, leather chairs, comfy bed and pillows, fancy metal lamps, fluffy towels, and even a liquid soap/conditioner dispenser in the shower. We also had a long table in front of a large mirror which made it easy when both of us needed to get ready at the same time. It was a quiet location set back from the street. It was also nice and dark inside the room without the annoying outside lights. I slept very well. I didn't have the breakfast, but it looked like a decent spread for a small hotel. We ended up staying 2 nights.
The location is convenient, and the office staff is very friendly. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast was very good, as always with Best Western. Our room was quiet, and I liked the fact that there was no second-story-noise above us. I would definitely stay here again.
The room was small but very clean. The entry to the rooms are from outside. You park your car in front of your room. The breakfast was fine. Good place if you are passing through for a one night stay. Priced reasonably
This appears to be a regular motel with some upgrades and a Best Western name applied to it. While the room was large, the bathroom was comically small, the furnishings were cheap and old, the a/c was noisy, there were no bedside tables or lamps and my coffee maker was covered in dust. It would have met my expectations of a higher end generic roadside motel but I expected more from Best Western.
The service is excellent. The only thing that make me to give it a 3 start instead of 4 is the old building. My family stopped here one night for our road trip in Utah. The hotel itself is the typical inn with basic room. The building is kind of old so the wall is so thin what my wife in next room can hear my son's coughing at night. The air condition unit is pretty loud so I had to turn it off before sleep time. The service, on the other hand, is excellent. Sarah the manager is very nice and friendly when we drop by for complimentary breakfast. She showed me how to use the waffle machine, acknowledged me of local hiking trails, and helped me to check the driving time to Arches. Very professional and helpful. And the complimentary breakfast is pretty nice. I like the waffle machine which you can make fresh waffle, and love the hot oatmeal choice with lots of condiment like raisin, coconut, nuts. I've traveled many places in west and east coast, but never seen hot oatmeal in breakfast. Is this a middle state thing? Love it.
Our stay at St. George Best Western was just over night, however, the Wifi worked great, the room was clean and arranged nice, the bath room was split where the toilet and tub/shower were in a separate room and that could have been a little bigger. It was a little awkward getting in that space as the door didn't open all the way so we had to squeeze by the door to get in to take a shower
Super helpful staff, even have a laminated guide to find anything you might need in town along with its distance. Very clean hotel and well managed. Breakfast was good and there was plenty of seating for all of us to eat. Quiet location and great parking.
We were in St. George just overnight and didn't want to spend a lot on a motel. This Best Western Travel Inn had some mixed reviews so took a chance on it. The room was very small, but clean. However, the sink was totally plugged and took forever for the water to drain. The pillows were too thick and made my neck ache, but the worst was that at least one of the pillow cases had not been washed. Another pillow seemed okay and at checkout the clerk did take a little off of our bill. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good.
Will definately be back to this hotel. Easy to get to, great staff. Clean rooms. Breakfast was well presented. Parking lot is well lit and close to rooms. Several restaurants nearby. We received a bag of chocolates at checkout, that was super cool. Strongly suggest this hotel.
Great! We stay there frequently! Usually at least once a year. And we always enjoy it and keep coming back.... We are currently planning another stay at this same location. This is about all I have to say at this very moment.
Not a $ 100.- room, too small and confined. The color scheme too dark, made this room even more claustrophobic. A big step into the room and an uneven height of floor between the room and bathroom not very "elderly" friendly. The bathroom very small with hardly any counter space. On day of arrival the pool was closed, opened later in the evening.
Modest motel, one floor, off the main road in St. George, so convenient to everything in town. The room was plain, decor a little dated, but overall it was a comfortable room and a decent overnight experience. The bathroom was clean and the shower excellent. This is not a high end motel, but we enjoyed the stay and had no major complaints.
We stayed at the BW Travel Inn on our way to Zion. This is an older hotel, but nicely maintained. The rooms are well decorated and quiet. The desk clerk, Sam, was very professional and helpful. Sam offered great advice on the area as to what to see and do. The free breakfast was good.
We have stayed here several times on our trips from Arizona to Turner Valley, and will continue to make it our destination in St.George. The central location makes everything easy to get to. The rooms are spacious and clean and the beds always comfortable. The staff make check in easy and enjoyable. Parking right in front of our room is a plus for unloading luggage. The pool is also a positive.
We stayed at this inn Thursday April 7-April 9th. The room were basic but comfortable. The breakfast comes with room. The breakfast was good. Bathrooms are small. Were out most of our time in St George. The rooms are clean. I would stay their again but normally stay at high class hotels but all were booked.
The room was large, and everything was very clean! The bed was comfortable, and the wifi was quick and easy! Staff were very good, and the hot breakfast was surprisingly good! The pool was open, but we didn't use it! The area was very safe and convenient. The price was very reasonable! The dining guide provided was useful too!
My check-in was quick, and the friendly girl was more than willing to move me to another room when I asked to NOT be right next to the room with ice, vending and laundry. :) My room was very clean, and although a bit small, it was PERFECT for just me! I had a fridge, microwave, desk, vanity, bed, shower, parking right in front of my door - everything I needed. Breakfast was plentiful and yummy. And checkout was even quicker than check-in!
From the beginning of our brief overnight stay at this hotel to our checkout, the person who checked us in was very friendly and helpful in locating a good restaurant for dinner and giving us directions. The room was spotless and the decor very nice and the breakfast was excellent. We did feel that the price of the accommodation was a bit high because the room was extremely small, but we would recommend this motel because of all the other positive features.
Love that they have free on site breakfast. Great recommendations for dinner. Room was comfortable. Comfy beds. Rooms were a little weird with the low ceilings. Great check in clerk and very helpful. Parking a little far from rooms in the back.
Adobe-looking one-story motel in middle of busy street. Several restaurants within walking distance. Unusual setup for a queen plus double room - double bed when you enter room - then vanity area and small toilet/shower area in middle - queen bedroom in separate room to left with it's own entrance. Nice SW decor, comfy beds. Friendly person at check-in. Bathtub is slippery - used hand towel to stand on.
From the exterior you wouldn't think this motel was anything great, but it's actually a very nice place. Room was nice with all the amenities including fridge and microwave. They even had a room service menu if you want to stay in. Included hot breakfast (eggs, sauage, bacon). Location is great ...basically downtown.
Stayed here while passing thru to Zion. From the exterior, this hotel resembles a throwback one story motor inn of pre-interstate travel days. Check-in was pleasant and efficient. Room was clean. Traveling with five adults, the room with three double beds was an attraction. Room was comfortable and importantly was clean. Television was modern with good channel selection. Breakfast had a wide selection with eggs sausage and waffles. The help at breakfast and checking in was very friendly and helpful. All around good value.
Always stay at this hotel on our way to and from Arizona for the winter. The service is always great and the value is unbeatable . Great breakfast and the place is always very clean. Would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting good service.
Stayed here on 3/13/16. This is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in! The staff was helpful and professional, very friendly. Our room was excellent with all the comforts of home; large screen TV, fridge, microwave, coffee maker.
Paid approx. $75.00 for this no frills room. The facility showed its age but everything was clean. Mattress was very soft (not my preference). Breakfast in the small lobby was adequate. I wish the lobby tv had been turned up louder and the front desk gals' whining had been quieter.
Have stayed here twice on vacations in Utah. Older property but well maintained....excellent breakfast.....beautiful pool....good downtown location. Friendly and accommodating staff. Excellent value.....family owned and operated.
This was the perfect spot for a night's rest on a road trip. The room was clean and there was a microwave and fridge so I could make a cheap frozen dinner, free WiFi so I could catch up on work and a comfy bed for a relaxing night's sleep. Cheerful staff and a yummy breakfast in the morning made it the ideal road trip stop. Would definitely come back.
Excellent value and excellent breakfast. One of the best breakfast selections I've had at a Best Western. Convenient location, both to the freeway and the center of town and several attractions. The staff at check-in and check-out were very friendly and attentive to needs and questions.
We were just passing through, but the staff made us feel very much at home. They were informative and knowledgeable about the area. We have stayed several times, and would do so again. There are some good restaurants in the area. We like that everything at the hotel is on ground level, and we can see our car with the bikes on it. We had made suggestions last year on how to improve the quality of the breakfast, and were pleased to see quite an improvement.
The room was very clean, beds were comfortable and the breakfast was very good and fresh. The staff very friendly and nice other than the breakfast space was a little too small overall was great. Will definitely will stay again.
In addition to being super clean there was a very good expanded continental breakfast and very friendly happy staff. We were very satisfied with our stay and would stay here again. The location is ideal as well. We got in late so did not walk around the town but could see it would be nice to do that.
I think I was more impressed with the staff and service than the hotel itself. But overall, it was a good place to stay. The check was great--the young man had a great attitude and was very helpful in explaining the property and suggesting nearby restaurants. He called our room a while after check in just to make sure we were comfortable & didn't have any issues. The room itself was nice and bed was very comfortable. The decor could have been better, but it is an older property and I wasn't surprised that it might need updating. The thing that bothered me most is that there weren't enough electrical outlets, and those that were there were very loose and when I plugged into many of them the cord wouldn't seat securely and sometimes even fell out. They did have an outlet on the night stand that had 2 USB plugs and 2 extra outlets but the unit was kind of cheap and my cords wouldn't stay plugged into those either. So between my husband and I we each had to charge a phone, iPad, and laptop, and we had resort to unplugging things like lamps and the alarm clock to make room for our electronics. I do find that that is often the case in hotels, and this one DID try to offer extra plug ins--but they just weren't quality devices that actually functioned like they were supposed to. But I can't be too bothered by that because overall we really were blown away by exceptional service and employees with a great attitude. And, I noticed they had plug ins for electric cars--that's something I have not seen very often. Location is great--walking distance to lots of restaurants, easy access to interstate.
We booked and paid online in advance. Upon arrival after 8 p.m. the gentleman at the reception desk found my reservation quickly and offered cookies. The hotel is an older property, and our room was around back. He showed me the best place to park and how to get to my room. Though somewhat alley-ish, it was well-lit and felt safe. The room had 3 queen beds. The ceiling didn't reach a full 8 feet, and the toilet and sink felt like they were lower than standard heights. That said, the room was plenty big for our 4 overexcited children who tested every drawer and examined every nook. My husband took himself to the outdoor hot tub to relax after the days' drive and he found it quite pleasant though we visited in January. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean and decently stocked. Breakfast was included and excellent. They offered biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, cook-fresh waffles, oatmeal, cold cereal, yogurt, granola, toast, fruit, bagels, juice, milk. Checkout was easy and fast. The housekeeping staff we passed to and from breakfast were all pleasant and friendly, offering good morning greetings. We were very pleased with our stay and with the value. We would absolutely choose Best Western Travel Inn any time we are looking for a hotel in Saint George.
Good location, modernized very clean room with ample towels and shower gel, shampoo etc in dispensers. All staff polite and Darrell very informative on local restuarants etc. Great breakfast with plenty of choices. Would definitely return as well worth a stay.
This is a small motel that has been modernized. The rooms are spacious and well laid out. bed was comfortable. the old ventilation system was noisy and may bother some people. Excellent value for the money.
This is not a luxury hotel. It's old and small and a little stinky. There's no hair conditioner here, so bring your own. The hot tubs indoors which after visiting your brain will have been soaked in chlorine and that chlorine will be all you smell for a few hours. Pool is outside. No good for winter swimming, unless you're doing a polar bear challenge. Now that being said, this is a clean and safe 2.5 star hotel. It's small, easy to get to and in a good location. The staff is friendly and a breakfast is included.
This hotel was AMAZING! The location is near everything, the staff are so amazing and helpful, the room was clean and breakfast buffet was yummy. We will definitely stay here again and would encourage others as well.
From the outside, it looks like an older hotel--and it is. But they have redone the rooms, and the bed are very nice. It was very quiet, and being only one story made it even quieter and easy to load in and out. The breakfast was very good--hot dishes, choices--and the internet worked well. If you're just looking for a clean, comfortable room and some peace and quiet, this is a good spot.
clean but dated motel. small rooms with friendly helpful staff. We will try BW across boulevard on our next visit. entry into property is tricky. We were expecting more. Thanks for not allowing animals on property.
Old building with new paint. The bathroom was very small, could hardly turn around in it. It had a very poor heating system, the fan had two settings, high and higher and never shut off except manually. The tempter setting was either hot or hotter. Bed was not comfortable. The breakfast was good. Would not recommend this motel.
What a pleasant surprise. I usually stay at another Best Western that is more expensive because I thought it was better. This is very comparable and much more reasonable. The rooms are clean and well decorated. Microwave, refrigerator and a large screen TV. What more could you want!
From the minute I walked in to the lobby, I was treated with the utmost professionalism and warmth. The room was well appointed and the bed extremely comfortable. The breakfast was great also. I will stay next time I'm in Saint George!! Thank you to all the staff.
Older motel that is very clean and in excellent condition. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was excellent and the staff was terrific. Would definitely stay here if we are in the area again.
nice clean room with a staff that goes out of their way to make sure you are enjoying your stay. Parking was off the road and easy to get to from our family suite. Walls are a little thin but we were up early to go hike in Zion so the Breakfast was just what we needed.
This place is located close to many eating establishments and other attractions. Close to old downtown and also the new malls along the I-15 corridor. The room was just right sized for the 2 of us, and the breakfast was first rate! Make your own waffles, along with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, yogurt with many available toppings, oatmeal, cold cereals, and lots of bread options. Plus fresh fruit and all the "usual" morning beverages! Lots of spacious seating room available for dining.
Within minutes of us checking in they called to see how we liked the room. Very impressive. Clean rooms, super comfy beds. My favorite thing about this place though was the build it yourself Oatmeal bar and also mini waffle maker. In other words good breakfast :). Would definitely stay here again.
Easy access to the interstate, near the Zion national park and even Bryce Canyon. Very good restaurants nearby, that were conveniently pointed by the hotel's employees. Very good breakfast and free parking in front of your room. and for us the laundry was in hand to continue our trip. I surely recommend
My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights. The breakfast was well stocked, the employees were friendly, and the room was clean. The price point also makes this a great deal. My only advice: ask for a room away from the lobby, as it gets noisy in the morning for the breakfast. We were in room 101, and I woke up to some dishes clattering, people chatting, etc.
This was a great place to stay. Close to everything we needed to be by. The only thing is I would not stay in room 101. It's close to the kitchen and entry door and you can hear breakfast being made and people going in and out if you are wanting to sleep in. Other than that, the rooms are great and loved the location.
Great rooms, very clean. Good location, close to everything. Helpful and competent staff. Excellent breakfast , so many choice, all you can need in the morning. Really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended, Would certainly stay again.
The hotel was centrally located in town and the staff and service are exceptional. We reserved the "family" room and it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Property and room was very clean and presentable. Great value!
The staff was friendly and helpful but the rooms were awful. The bathroom and beds were dirty, the floor in one of the rooms had not been vacuumed in a long time, and the door handle fell off on one of our rooms too.
Hotel had excellent staff members who were competent and pleasant. Really enjoyed the full breakfast and noticed the person handling the breakfast for the hotel was very attentive. Would stay at this hotel again and would recommend to others.
This is my second stay in St George and this hotel was by far 10x better than another non chain hotel I stayed at that was very close to this hotel. This best western is very clean and nice. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and the room rate was the same as the subpar place I stayed before.
I called the motel for a room as I was driving up the road. The employee was very helpful. When I met him at the desk, he seemed to go out of his way to help me out. He even asked me if I'd like information and directions to places to eat. He could have just handed me a list, but he went beyond that. The room was comfortable and clean, but nothing new for BW. Breakfast was well done also, although their use of the salt shaker on the eggs, could have been tempered. I wasn't able to eat them.
I had an unexpectedly poor experience with this property. I was at the tail end of a 10+ day trip when I booked this room via booking.com at a small discount. When I arrived, I was assigned room 101 which shares a wall with the office and the breakfast room. The room was in good condition. However, noise coming from the other side of the wall in the morning was ***very*** loud. Throughout the morning, I could hear guests dragging what I believe were chairs or tables across the hard floor of the breakfast room! Also, before checkout time, a maintenance person was loudly banging against my wall while I was trying to have a phone conversation with my office back home. Finally, this room suffers from being right next to the main guest entry to the office and breakfast room - you can hear guests talking as they go to have breakfast or check out. The rooms near the office also suffer from lessor street noise from St. George Blvd. According to the desk clerk, she had never heard of guests complaining about the noise I experienced. I find that difficult to believe because it was very loud and I'm not a light sleeper. It's too bad, the room was clean and in good shape but the noise ruined my sleep before a long day of driving. My co-workers back home (we are all seasoned travelers) were amazed when they heard the wall banging while on the phone. The desk clerk told me all the Best Western properties in St. George are run by the same family. That implies they are experienced managers. I hope they take the time to sleep in room 101 to experience what I did first hand. If you decide to stay at this property, avoid any of the rooms in the low 100's and especially refuse to be sold room 101 unless you're desperate for a room.
We had a lovely stay in this perfectly placed motel in the St George area - a cool, urban, regenerative area with a great local vibe with great restaurants, shops and bars. It was very close to town and minutes away from the main historical attractions like the Red Rocks and parks, also restaurants, stores and such.
The exterior of this hotel gives the impression that it would be run down or not offer the best service. But I read all the reviews and decided to book anyway. I am so glad I did. This is a great place to stay for the value!
Could not ask for a better check in experience with Darryl including him calling our room shortly after check in to ask if everything was satisfactory. Free coffee in the lobby is very good. Being a motel you can park in front of your room for easy access to get your bags inside. Room was small with 1 queen and good wifi, the only concern was some dirt on the floor behind the bathroom door. Breakfast was good, clean and friendly. We mostly stay at Best Western hotels and I always request a quiet location but we were given the room next to the laundry, ice machine and pool. When I expressed concern Darryl said there is a concrete wall and offered to see if there was another room but we were ready to settle in so stayed. There was noise from people in the pool but also World Series baseball so staying up to watch the game meant the noise did not keep us awake.
Our one night stay at this hotel was an exceptional experience. The hotel was clean, staff was friendly and helpful. It might be confusing to people that are not familiar with St. George. The entrance was from the east.
All was generally as expected, except the front desk staff are especially friendly and helpful and the breakfast was quite nice and has a lot of variety given the level of hotel. Location is convenient. Room was very clean. Furnishings are well-kempt. I really liked the lime-verbena soap provided. :) A few minuses: walls seem to be paper thin, we were awakened early (about 6 am) both mornings by the guests in the next room over talking. They weren't speaking loudly, just normal volume, and we could hear everything as though they were in the room with us. The bed was uncomfortable; it shakes every time someone adjusts position, so it made it difficult to get a good nights rest. The hair dryer reminded me of the toy ones that make noise but don't actually do anything! Not a deal-breaker, but I definitely recommend bringing your own from home. All in all, not bad, but it's unlikely I'll stay here in the future because the thing I need most from a hotel is a good nights rest and I really couldn't get that with an uncomfortable mattress and poor noise insulation between the walls.
A great place to stay. Right on St George Blvd, but quiet at night. Bed was awesome. Decor was very nice. Refrig and microwave are a definite plus. WIFI was fast, and breakfast was excellent. The room was a little on the small size, but very comfortable for the two of us.
This is one of the smaller Best Westerns located in downtown St. George, UT but you sure get big time care! From the time we checked, which was quick and easy, Darrell took care of us. He even called 5-10 minutes after we entered our room to make sure everything met our expectations. The room was good sized with a fridge and microwave. The beds were very comfortable. We had a little trouble connecting to the WiFi but within minutes of us calling the front desk Darrell was there to solve the problem. The bathrooms were small but that didn't matter to us. The towels were soft and the whole hotel was VERY clean. Breakfast was good with a wide variety of items. Just what we needed before a day of hiking. You are about 45 minutes from Zion National Park but close to Tuacahn Amphitheatre, Snow Canyon and Red Cliffs. We will definitely be staying at this hotel again.
Overall this hotel is nice and at a convenient location The staffs are polite and helpful. Everything is good except for the bedding sheets are little old. If they can change their bedding sheet to a new one, this hotel is good and worth of staying.
We have stayed here two times in the last few years. It is nothing special and definitely on the budget side as far as hotels go. But nice enough that we weren't afraid to use the beds. We stayed in the family suite, upon booking I was expecting two queens and a living room area with a pull out. What we got was three queens in a slightly larger room. It was fine, just not what we were expecting. Would have liked two tvs and the extra space that a pullout provides. The room was ok and breakfast was good. The staff was Very kind and made sure we had everything we needed. Next time we are in town we'll stay somewhere else for a few reasons. 1. The location is just ok. If you are staying there for the marathon, it's only a small walk to the finish line. But if you plan on shopping or going out to eat you will have to drive and this hotel is on a street with a median, making it tricky to get to from one side of the road. We'll stay closer to the freeway next time 2. The family suite was small. There really wasn't much room for all 5 of us and our things. But...for a decent place to stay at a decent price....we managed.
Staff was very neat and helpful at answering questions about local activities in the great outdoors. The hotel is a older building with smaller rooms. With that said, the rooms are cozy and upgraded with something new almost every stay over the past years. This stay the breakfast was much nicer with added hot items, also much better seating.
This is a very nice property with pleasant, helpful staff. Check-in was easy with parking right outside of the room. Updated room with nice amenities including an over-size flat screen TV and refrigerator/freezer. A delicious breakfast was included. A great value in a very nice, convenient location.
We stayed twice here, on our way to and from Glacier National Park. Both stays were reasonable, $90 on a Friday and $70 on a Tuesday. Breakfast with scrambled eggs, waffles, cereal, fruit and pastries was included. The room was a good size, very clean and comfortable. The pool was clean and towels were provided. There was a Jacuzzi also.
We had no prior reservations buy checked this place out on Tripadvisor as usual. It was a very comfortable stay. You park in front of the entrance to your room like in a motel. The room was simple and a bit antiquated but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included in price and adequate. The staff advised us regarding dinner and shopping choices. We have a positive impression of Best Western Travel Inn
We only stayed for one night but found the room to be very clean and comfortable. The front desk staff were friendly and very helpful. We had asked for suggestions of what we could see in the area and the guy at the desk was very knowledgeable and provided a map. Breakfast was convenient and satisfying. It was a great experience.
If you are from the Northwest, driving to Las Vegas or Disney Land, you must take 1-15 through Utah and stop in and stay at the Travel Inn in St. George. If you don't, you will not get to enjoy the comfort of this hotel and the sites to see in St. George. Make an effort to stop in and get a pleasurable relaxing feeling about the area and yourself.
