I recently stayed at the Rockland best western while in town for a conference. Hotel was a little older, but rooms were clean and staff was exceptionally helpful. I'd left some personal items in my room and not only did they find them, they offered to arrange to ship back to me. Wonderful service! I'd definitely go back.

Good Clean PLace to stay. Not too far from Boston. But you should take the train from Braintree into Boston. Boston is easy to walk around or take a ride share like Uber in town or from the hotel. Parking in Boston is awful as is the driving there too. This best western is a great place to stay if you want to go to the Cape for a day or to Plymouth too.

The staff at the desk was wonderful. They helped us with early check in which was needed for us to attend an event. The room smelled a little musty even though it appeared to be clean. It just seemed like it was outdated.

The staff at this location are always so pleasant and helpful! They offer breakfast every morning and it is always fresh and delicious and they do work with you if you have diet limitations. They have a small fitness area and laundry area. They also have laundry service.

I picked this location because it was close to my relatives. I was pleasently surprised to the great variety of food to choose from for breakfast. The beds were very comfortable and the workout room was just what i wanted. The staff was very friendly and we were greeted every morning while enjoying our breakfast they wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely go back to this location again next time I am in the area.

A solid, clean hotel with pleasant staff. Standard basic room that was comfortable but slightly musty Not sure why, but reason why not 5 Stars. Didn't need to change my room as it was not overwhelming. Appreciated the peel hard boiled eggs at breakfast as I was able to grab a couple to go as I was running late.

I stayed here for one evening for a quiet getaway . The room was very clean ,it was very quiet and the breakfast in morn was delicious and plenty to offer. I had a corner room on top floor which i loved. Convenient location to highways, restaurants ,and stores.The bed was very comfortable and fridge and microwave in room was a plus. Would def stay again. Very pleasent staff.

We stayed all week July 2- 6 at the BW in Rockland right from the time we pulled into the parking lot the staff were very courteous, knowledgeable about the area, and full of smiles! We brought our motorcycle with a trailer and big truck. Scott from maintenance set up a place for our rig and with cones. Where else can you go and get service like that in Rockland! Not at any other hotel. Our room was very clean each and every day. No noise at all. Never heard the other rooms! Breakfasted with a smile each morning. If you wanted something different you got it. Just like home! The front desk staff always greeted everyone who came through the door with smiles and asked how your day was. And if the knew your name and knew were you were headed took the time to listen. You will not go wrong staying at the BW Rockland! This hotel is more like an extension of home. Stayed here not by choice. Was planning on staying at the Doubletree by hilton next to this hotel but they were sold out. My room had an odor to it that did not sit well with me.Smelled like old cigarettes and mildew. Mattress was lousy and could hear the people in the room next to me all night. WORST SLEEP EVER!!! Will not be back to this location for any reason. I would rather sleep in my car in the parking lot!!

Our Hotel and team does not have a track of such complaints and it concerns us when we hear the same. Mattresses are truly individual choices to ones comfort. Honestly surpassed our expectations for a small hotel and reasonable rate. Room was clean, spacious, with refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. Morning breakfast had something for everyone and hostess Rose to make you feel at home. All of the staff were friendly and professional for all our needs or requests. Easy access for highway travel. Would definitely return.

The Best Wesyern Rockland was a very cozy and clean hotel, with very friendly staff. The breakfast staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. They even went to find us some almond milk for us. Thanks for your hospitality. We enjoyed our stay very much.

I usually stay at Best Western in Quincy, this time I tried Rockland. There is a small strip-mall across the street with some eating places, a nail salon, a sports bar and other offices. A mile down the road is another small shopping area with TJ Maxx, a supermarket and another chain store. Made for a nice long walk. A Duncan Donuts is right next door and a Home Depot not far away. While the outlets in the bedside lamps were too loose to be functional, at least the two outlets on the lamp on the desk were fine and I was able to keep my devices fully charged. The bathroom seemed a bit dated and could use an update - I found the level of the sink to be too low for comfort when bending over brushing my teeth and washing my face. I wish the pillows were a bit larger instead of these small rectangles. There was a little league sports team in the dining area on Saturday morning so I chose to wait 45 minutes for them to clear out instead of sitting amidst the shrieking and standing on the buffet line. Even though my room was right off the lobby I barely heard the ruckus from my room. Staff is always friendly and smiling.

Terrific hotel. I have stayed at the Best Western Rockland over the past 7 years, and each time is better. Staff always friendly, easy check-in/check-out. The best is they all remember my first name. Room ready ASAP, no waiting. Clean rooms, spacious, and they have frig and microwave - perfect. Owner/Manager greets guest and remembers everyone. I have stayed here twice this past year and both times have been great. The facility is clean and the overall atmosphere is pleasant. This most recent time, I stayed in a room close to the road and I was surprised as to how quiet it was in the room. The rooms are large, nicely decorated and clean. The mini 'fridge and microwave are an extra bonus. Breakfast was very good both times. They offer more than just the standard fare. The danishes and muffins melt in your mouth. Their breakfast selections offer something for everyone. I can's say enough about the staff. Not only are they professional, they are very caring as well. I experienced and issue with my car while I was there and Jonathan gave me suggestions and recommendations of places to obtain the necessary service and repairs. He also talked me through the decision making process of determining what repairs were necessary. Elizabeth offered a late check out and assured me that they would assist me. Their support and reassurances made me feel as if I was in good hands and it made the whole ordeal less stressful. I highly recommend this location.

We have stayed at this hotel three times in the last 12 months. It is close to a variety of restaurants and the horse farm we were visiting. Staff was friendly, room was clean, and internet was fast. I only wish it had an indoor pool. Other than that, it's just what we need.

The management team are awesome! Devesh called us to advise of a room change that would better suit our stay and comfort. At check-in, John was totally aware of the change and really supportive. We travel from Miami to Boston and the South Shore 2 to 3 times a year for family visits. This Rockland BW is very convenient and the staff there are so polite, courteous and friendly. They make us feel special, like family. Very comfortable, clean. Excellent breakfast. The only place we stay. We have special needs and are always accommodated.

For $84 its a great hotel. Its not as nice as a Hampton or Hilton (which is my normal) but its better than anything else for under $100.00 a night and the staff and service is better. I will have to check out their higher range of affiliated hotels to see if they are as price competitive and as good service quality. Point is I will return to this hotel again.

I was supposed to come when one of the noreaster storms came through .davesh called me before the airline even let me know my flight was cancelled . The hotel was extremely accommodating on the change of plans. At check in the man was so helpful. More so than I think I've ever seen . Breakfast was decent .i was glad it wasn't just cold item . They had eggs sausage and waffles even. Rooms were Clean .Over all good experience. I would stay at that hotel again.

I stay in Best Westerns all the time. The staff here are terrific. The breakfast area is well managed by Rose. She is kind and personable and makes you feel at home. There are a lot of choices for breakfast. The only downside is the TV channels were very limited.

We just came back from our short three night stay at the Best Western Rockland. If you are staying in that area or simply passing through and need a place to stay don't hesitate to give this place a shot. We are extremely pleased with the overall service and experience. First, the hotel has very clean and spacious rooms and overall premises. Second, fantastic 6:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. breakfast. I mean this is not your continental type stuff they have everything from omelets, bacon and sausage, to bagels, waffles, cereal and lots more. The breakfast area is very well taken care of and has a mid size TV so you can watch your favorite news while having a satisfying breakfast. Our special thanks goes to Rose who makes sure you always have a pleasant experience while having a delicious breakfast. To sum up, if you just need a clean place with the good free breakfast, parking, WiFi and in close proximity to Boston, (30 minutes driving) don't think twice and book Best Western Rockland for half the price of most big name hotels.

Nice place to stay. Every individual employee is nice, cordial, very helpful and always with a bright smile. They make stay easier and comfortable. Room was super clean everything arranged properly. Breakfast area arranged in a systematic way and all are exactly what require for breakfast. Value worth. Enough parking space and front desk is soothing. Gym is also nice and well maintained.

I've had better experiences, but overall its ok. We stayed twice for one night each. The room key didn't work too well. Had to run it several times to get it to register. The check in attendant wasn't very friendly. Was having a bad day I guess .

friendly staff. Manager Devesh and staff Rose, Jonathan, Nicollette, Mike and Janet greet us warmly and make us feel very welcome. Our children , Grandchildren and extended family live in the greater Boston area and this hotel is centrally located to all of them. The hotel is only minutes away from major roads leading in all directions.I highly recommend them.

Always stay here when in town on business. Friendly, helpful staff, bountiful breakfast, and great service. Next time, I want to find time to use the fitness center.I would highly recommend this Best Western location.

The best Western Rockland is an amazing value in the Boston area. It is convenient just off Route 3 off of I-93. There are numerous good restaurants in the area. Closest one is a short walk across the parking lot. The room I had was very clean. The bed very comfortable. And I have never felt so welcomed in a hotel by the staff there. Best of all their rates make it an amazing value. Do yourself a favor give them a try.

I can not explain to you how great the breakfast is at this location. There is a waffle maker. The eggs were fluffy and tasted "real". The juice was great and they even have little packs of Nutella. Our room was comfortable and the water in the shower was able to be hot. The hallways are a little chilly if it's really cold but the room was perfectly fine temperature wise. There are 4 hotels near each other and I would choose this one ever time.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this Best Western and the service and staff were wonderful. Checking in was so easy.. I had asked if there was one room on the first floor but unfortunately there were none available. Each staff member at the desk apologized for the inconvenience.. which was not necessary but very thoughtful. It had snowed and the maintenance person shoveled around our van..he just happened to come out at the time I was cleaning our van and shoveled around it.. Service was excellent.. Breakfast was great..I will be staying here again.

As my family of 5 await for our home to be finished being built we stayed at this hotel. We have been here for over a month and the staff have been very accommodating. Most particularly Rose, the breakfast hostess. Always friendly and goes out of her way to make your stay enjoyable. Having 2 small children here during the holidays have been made a little ealier due to her. Janet at the front desk knows her job well and is very savvy and helped us use our points and we are thankful. I would stay here again!

My 80+ year old parents stayed here without us and were extremely satisfied. Comfort, quality, friendliness, sleep, breakfast and fitness center all well-received. Great service up-front booking the handicapped room and accommodating them when they were there. Definitely would stay here again.

Always choose BW Rockland when in the Boston/ South Shore area.. The staff and service never disappoint us. I tend to have difficulty using the BW Corporate reservations system, but find if I make the reservations directly with the desk at Rockland it is smooth sailing... The only issue from a personal level is the bed height is a bit much for me as I have some medical issues so if that's a concern for you, be aware. Once in the bed though, it is comfortable.

We made lasr minute reservations and the only hotel available was We made last minute plans and Best Western was the only motel available. Good thing because it was amazing. So beautifully and thoughtfully decorated! So clean! Such friendly and helpful staff. This will be my first choice whenever we visit my daughter in the future.

Our room was located near the rear entrance door on the first floor and the lobby. this was a great help because of mobility issue. A satisifying Breakfast made the trp planning easier. Hopefully our next stay we will have a similar room

The room was equipped with one of the most comfortable beds we've had in a hotel. The bathtub/shower was easy to get in and out. The room, although near the entrance, was very quiet. Their breakfast had enough variety that we easily found a satisfying mix to enjoy.

We usually stay at Best Westerns and chose to stay at this one while visiting our son at Bridgewater State University. We are so happy we did, the hotel room was virtually brand new. The staff was great and the GM actually came out at breakfast and told us about the area and what to do. This will now be our go to spot while visiting our son!

The hotel was overall pretty roomy and comfortable. Janet was very nice and was accommodating. Some negatives included the old musty carpet and that even with free wi-fi, I could not get on the internet. Login for password would not come up on my computer. We were in room 127 and the door slams shut without warning. Some more positives included a very good shower and a very good location close to Route 3.

As for the internet I did touch base with our vendor & we had multiple users for that day with no connection issues per the report. Sometimes if it's a company Laptop there are firewalls set up..I am not sure if that would have been the issue. Having set that we also do have a 24/7 customer support for any connectivity issues. I do a lot of traveling during Benefit season and this hotel was a 10. The staff is sooo kind and polite and bend over backwards to make things comfortable for you. After being on travel and spending my work day in a service industry, smiling is tuff at 8pm unless your checking in at this this hotel. The staff is so kind and pleasant. They scoooped up my stuff to help to me bring it to the room when they could see I was sooo tired! Later they called and asked if they could bring me anything. Feels like a good old friend atmosphere.

If you are visiting Calvary Chapel, Rockland be advised you can depend on Rockland Best Western for a nice stay and good hot food for breakfast. The amenities are competitive with leading hotels in the area. My room had a microwave, coffee maker, and refrigerator. I was so toasty warm that I ended up using the central air to cool the place off. I actually spent time in the reception area and enjoyed sipping coffee and chatting with other members of my group that also stayed there.

Located right off of Route 3, exit 14. Nice hotel with attentive staff. Comfortable. Nice complimentary breakfast with great make your own waffles; great waffles. Two story building with no elevators. Good parking. Adjacent to hotel is Bella's Italian Restaurant which has great food and great service. I am Italian, so I know good Italian food.

I arrived late but my room was ready, as I had paid in advance. Everything was as it should be. I had no trouble finding my room. I did experience a little trouble getting my card key to work but it was probably me. They are all different each place you stay. The room was neat and clean and well furnished. I would stay there again. Good experience.

BW Rockland had a comfortable clean room. The mattress-pillow combination was super. Internet service was fast. Several places to eat within walking distance. Hot breakfast at the hotel was typical BW with a helpful staff. The price I paid for this area was worth the money.

Just needed a place to stay with a reasonable rate for a late night check-in and was nice to get breakfast along with it. Were in Boston night before but wouldn't pay "Head of the Charles" rates to stay 2nd night ....so found this place along route home.... Everything was fine. Great staff. The free breakfast was very good with wide variety of food. Would recommend this hotel. We had a small issue with our access card that got demagnetized, but the front dest agent dealt with it in a timely and efficience matter.

The Best Western in Rockland, MA is a clean and comfortable hotel with truly reasonable rates and great customer service. Staff will do whatever is necessary to make you happy. Recent renovations means that the beds are all new and comfortable (no lumps), the linens are crisp and rooms are nicely appointed. The complimentary breakfast is overseen by Rose, who makes sure no one goes hungry. Truly a great value!

We had a good experience after the staff got a first floor room for us. It made our two-day stay much easier. Also the buffet breakfast was very good. The location was ideal for visiting family and for spending a day in Boston - parking at a T stop and using the Red Line.

From the moment we arrived at the Best Western Rockland, we felt welcome and safe. The staff bend over backwards to make sure your needs are met and in a timely fashion. We needed a cot delivered to our room close to midnight, and it was delivered within 10 minutes (with an additional blanket!) Can't say more about this hotel - definitely will stay here next time I'm in the Boston/Cape Cod area.

Great breakfasts every morning, comfortable beds, cold ac, fast wifi and very friendly staff. We stayed here for almost 5 months now while waiting for our house to be completely done from renovation. This place is quite and comfortable. I would like to recommend this to all my friends out there!

Very close to my clients, the hotel itself is older, but clean and quiet and the staff was excellent. I use this hotel every year for my clients sales summit and it has improved every year I have been there. It is not going to be mistaken for a 5 star luxury resort, but it is clean and safe and convenient which is everything that I want in a hotel for business travel.

Easy location to find, helpful and knowledgeable staff, and efficient check in. Comfortable king size bed, and clean room, halls and lobby. Drawbacks would be: small pillows for a king size bed, and bathroom mirror hung down to low almost on top of faucet handles making them difficult to get at to turn.

We stayed and rented 2 rooms. We have 3 people with gluten and dairy allergies. There were lots of breakfast choices. Super clean hotel. Maintenance was up in 2 min to help us with draining the tub. It was because we didn't push it down. He didn't laugh at us. But we laughed at ourselves. Staff could not be friendlier. Nice greeting every time we passed the desk.

Great location between Boston and Cape Cod. Easy to arrive at just s few blocks of major highway. Variety of dinning options no matter what direction you are traveling. Breakfast a convenient option if you prefer an early meal without going out of the hotel.

We have stayed at this hotel numerous times. It is a good value and centrally located for our needs in the area. Staff is responsive and friendly. Rooms we have had are ample size, and we find the beds to be comfortable. Breakfast selections are ample for us as we are not huge breakfast folks. Hot coffee available 24 hours is a big plus as I enjoy coffee any time of day.

We recently had to find a place for a group of employees to stay while in Rockland on a business trip and this hotel did not disappoint! The staff, especially Devesh, went above and beyond to make sure our crew of people were well taken care of. We could not have asked for a more friendly, caring and extremely helpful staff to assist us. The free breakfast, large clean rooms and wifi access were definitely appreciated by our crew each day. We would highly recommend this hotel if you need to place to stay in Rockland!

Large clean rooms with wi-fi, fridge and microwave. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Free breakfast was decent with enough choices to satisfy everyone,and breakfast room was very clean. Highly recommend.

My husband and I have stayed at this Best Western over the years. They have the best staff of any hotel/motel, even higher priced "premium" hotels. They go out of their way to ensure comfort, safety. This was particularly important on this trip as I had traveled alone.

This was a Great Hotel, it was very clean and everyone was extremely friendly. The Check in and out was very fast. I had no problems and would stay again. the Pizza place across the street makes for a good quick dinner while staying just a tip Thank you

This hotel was below par for a Best Western. The room was nicely furnished and looked clean, but had an old vacuum cleaner bag odor. The beds were reasonably comfortable, but the walls were thin. The lobby was attractive and the breakfast acceptable. The free newspaper was a nice upscale addition. The desk person when we arrived was exceptionally helpful.

The price was too high for the quality of our stay. Poor maintenance on building, the fire alarm system did not work. The breakfast service was good, there was a lot of choices for breakfast, the food quality was average compatible to fast food.

Dear Guest, Thank you for staying with us & sharing your experience with us. We are extremely apologetic for the experience you had during your stay. There seems to be a misunderstanding when you mention non working alarms which I would like to clarify. Unfortunately, we did have a fire in one of our guest rooms, & the horns did go off right away, that is the reason the fire department was at the Hotel within minutes. The moment the situation was under control, within an hour and a half the guests could go back in the rooms..Had the alarms not worked no one would be allowed back in the Hotel & the Fire Department would have closed the Hotel down until everything was rectified. Also, just to assure you, we work with a very reputable Fire Alarm company along with the Fire Department & our alarms are tested semi annually in partnership with the Fire Department. If any of this is untrue or non compliant our Hotel would be closed down for business. Guest & Employee safety, is our absolute priority. Some situations are out of our control like what happened..a machine overheating & catching fire..the same malfunction can happen to any machine anywhere which is unpredictable & to be intentionally non compliant with the fire department would surely not be a good business practice. I am sure you heard the horns blarring at the Hotel when you were here as well.The fire Department did want the alarm company to come down as soon as possible which is normal practice so that the alarms can be checked & naturally silenced without a fault in the actual panel which they did come & recheck all the pull stations before keeping it in normal mode. Once again, I am apologetic & I hope you do give us another chance. Sincerely,

Every thing was fine with hotel, with one exception, the room card did not open our room, had to keep trying it until it finnally worked. On our last night had to go to office and have it remagnetized and even than we had some issues but finally got the door opened.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The bed was quite comfortable and the room and bathroom were very clean. Good location for our needs, as we were attending a family celebration. Overall, this hotel was a nice place. Breakfast on site was good and filling. Only disappointment is that there is no pool on site, and after being on the road for a number of hours, we usually enjoy a good swim to relax and work the kinks out. That said, there are three restaurants within walking distance.

A very good place to stay in Rockland, MA What I liked - Free apples at the reception. Delicious! - Good and diverse breakfast, not also carbs but eggs, cheese and meat. Fruits: bananas and grapefruit (delicious). Also nice to make your own waffles. My daughter also loved having Nutella. - Clean and comfortable rooms and bed. - Very little noise in the room during the night, in spite of the presence of a fridge. - Multiple restaurants in the area What I didn't like - No shower gel in the room. Soap makes your skin dry. - No safe in the room

The staff was very well trained in customer service, they were always polite, and I requested a first floor room and received it. The free buffet breakfast was fresh and tasty. I had to leave at 5:00 am and the staff made me coffee to go before they had to. The room was clean, spacious, comfortable desk and chair. The bed was very comfy.

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff were very pleasant and made sure everything was to our satisfaction. We would definitely return to this hotel. The breakfast arrangement was great. Jonathon, the kitchen manager, was a gentlemen. He always followed up to see if we needed anything else. When we checked out, Jonathon even gave us tips on how to bypass the traffic on the trip home..

From check in to check out our stay was pleasant. The rooms were clean and in good repair. The beds were comfortable, there is a comfortable chair to sit and relax. Breakfast was very good , there was a gentleman who made sure everything was replenished and tidy. We needed extra time prior to checkout, the manager was gracious in helping with that.

Definitely not a luxury hotel. They aren't claiming to be. Rooms are clean and respectable sized. Staff goes out of their way to help. Small breakfast area, well maintained and kept stocked with a touch of Massachusetts charm. We were in Massachusetts for 2 nights coinciding with Sail Boston. Didn't want to get gouged, so a search found this place. Nice break from Boston, not too far either. Took the train from Quincy Adams, probably 30 minutes and none of the Boston parking woes. Would definitely stay again.

The whole stay was absolutely amazing. The staff were great, friendly, and went the extra mile to ensure our stay was wicked awesome. We are planning another trip to the Boston area and we would not even think of staying anywhere else. We had a comfortable stay at this Best Western. The bed was comfortable, room was cozy and quiet. Enjoyed the breakfast here, the usual for a BW. They even had a 1/2 of a fresh grapefruit which I had never seen at a hotel breakfast that was scrumptious. Lots of variety for breakfast. Can walk to 2 restaurants - 1 next door and the other across the street which is very convenient. All the staff was friendly. No Problems.

this recently renovated facility was clean, attractively decorated, comfortable bed, helpful and polite staff, easy check-in/out, easy on/off highway, convenient to a restaurant and coffee shop as well as adequate hot/cold breakfast. The nicest Best Western I've ever stayed in. Room was decent. The bed was very comfortable and the room was kept clean. You can hear people in the adjacent rooms and the hallway. Breakfast was pretty good for a continental. The staff was polite and helpful. Restaurants and a bar right across the street.

Even though there was not a pool. We had a wonderful time. The staff was fantastic, and the hotel was very clean. Breakfast was better than most continental breakfast bars that I have had. The rooms were spacious and clean. The only thin I can think of was; why do hotels use the shower curtains that come out of the tubs, as it makes the tile floors very slippery. We had a wonderful time, and I would stay there again on our next trip.

The staff person in charge of the breakfast area in the hotel takes the time and makes the effort to start your day with a big smile. The room and serving space are spotless, the food is above average, and her personalized service is exceptional. While not all staff were quite as outgoing, all sought to provide fast, excellent service. The hotel is no-frills, but it's clean, quiet, comfortable and convenient.

This hotel was very hospitable, but very outdated and somewhat uncomfortable. The air quality of the room was very humid and the a/c didn't really seem to help. The breakfast is not good. We ended up eating out every morning after the first.

The stay was great, location was good as we were visiting in Marshfield. Rooms were clean, place was quiet and staff were friendly and helpful. Stayed for 3 nights with our kids. First time in Boston. Staff go out of their way to make sure your trip to Boston is perfect. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Rose makes you feel like you are around family every morning at breakfast.

Hotel does not look attractive, but the rooms are much better. I recommend this place for when you have a quick visit to the area and would like to save money. There is not much to do around, but you can use it as a base to visit other places.

Staff is outstanding! Hotel is right off the highway with plenty of free parking and a daily breakfast offering. Room was clean and very comfortable. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I stay here recently for a business trip, which required me to depart the hotel before breakfast is typically served. The breakfast attendant Rose was very nice and set up the breakfast buffet a little early so my co-workers and myself could have breakfast before we left. It was the first I was able to have breakfast on this type of trip, all due to her kindness.

Upon arriving we were greeted by a lovely receptionist who informed us of their amenities. Room was very clean and bed very comfortable.Quiet location. Breakfast is available, but we didn't have a chance to partake. Close to Dunkin Donuts and restaurants. Was there to visit with new Grandson. Easy access to route that will take you to the coast and Cape Cod. Not high end decor but nice.

We arrived on Tuesday, 13JUN2017, and were scheduled to check out on Thursday, 15JUN. We encountered problems printing our boarding passes on the Business Center printer and Miss Janet was kind enough to print those for us from behind the counter. On Friday, 16JUN, our flight on Spirit Airlines was cancelled and Devesh, the Manager, was able to squeeze us in for one more night. The level of customer service we received at this location was nothing short of amazing. It is an older hotel, but it performed nicely for our stay. Thanks!

Already rated this previously. Stayed again recently and place is wonderful as ever. Friendly caring staff, clean and even updated rooms, If you are in the area this is definitely best place to stay. Not your typical breakfast.. Fresh hot food available. Staff really goes out of their way to be accommodating. I look forward to my next stay. It is a little outdated, but the stay was good. Room was clean, check-in was quick and check-out was as well with friendly, courteous staff. The dorr to the bathroom was hard to shut unless you slammed the door and there had been some minor damage to it that could be repaired. Hard to maintain a little privacy in the bathroom without slamming the door shut.

Rooms are clean and everything works. Staff is exceptionally good-friendly, helpful, responsive to needs. Breakfast is standard, but does have good variety with hot and cold choices available. Especially liked fresh cantaloupe quarters served everyday. Really good value for the money. My only complaint is poor pillows.

I have never stayed in a Best Western before, this was such an awesome experience for a first time visi. The staff was awesome, the location was great. The breakfast was great . The hotel is about 15 - 20 miles from Boston. At first, really thought we had chosen one a bit too far. The hotel was exceptionally clean! Turns out it was close to a beach, and easy to get to Cape Cod and Plymouth Rock! Boston is too busy, this turned out to be perfect! The owner/manager stays on top of everything, and helped us with directions, information and anything he could help with. Rose prepared a wonderful breakfast every morning, and helped us also with our daily itinerary. She is kind and really enjoyed helping us. I would go back to this hotel in a heartbeat!

I usually stay at a hotel across the street, but it was booked so I stayed at the Best Western in Rockland. Now, I will always stay with BW every time I'm in Rockland. The staff were amazing, the rooms were clean, the beds and pillows were so comfortable, the continental breakfast was great (not just cold dry carbs, but eggs, sausage, bacon, waffles), around the clock complimentary coffee, tea, and juices, and there was a refrigerator and microwave in the room...much needed for multiple night stays! The manager went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and were comfortable. He was very kind. The woman serving the breakfast made every morning relaxing and cheerful. I don't like the tv in the lobby though...especially where we eat :/ But I think all hotels do that now. I loved our experience with BW!!

There are only positives that apply to this facility, starting with a convenient location, close to a major highway, at a reasonable nightly rate. The property is well-maintained, the front desk help is positive, and the free breakfast is more than ample, also with positive support help.

Stayed at this hotel so that my daughter could attend a Prom with a friend. The staff was just great and so very accommodating. When they found out that we were there for a Prom, they gave us an early check in and, at the same time, immediately offered us a late check out stating that she might be tired the next day. How thoughtful they were! The hotel was clean and we witnessed upgrades occurring as well as routine maintenance. It's location is very convenient for travelers. It's an easy on and off for Rt 3 and it is surrounded in just about every direction with stores and restaurants, gas stations etc but, you wouldn't know it if you didn't seek them out as the area was very quiet. Our room faced the road but we never experienced road noise. The property was well lit and we felt very safe. There are several restaurants within walking distance as well as a liquor store, hair salon and even a AAA office. Overall, this was a very nice property and a good value.

This was a last minute stay and staff was very accommodating to our needs. Provided a good rate when making reservation. Room was very clean and staff courteous. Good location with Dunkin Donuts next door, convenience store and small restaurants/bar across the street.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this Best Western. It is definitely now my "go to" place to stay the next time I am in the Boston area. The staff makes one feel at home. It is also a lovely hotel and a great value for the price. The breakfast alone is definitely a major cut above the typical "toast and cereal" continental breakfast. The staff (particularly Rose who cooked and oversaw the breakfast area) as well as the manager were very personable and caring.

A group of friends and I stayed here for a local race we were doing nearby. Our check in was easy. The hotel had a signed that showed that they would have some fruit and water available for the guests who had an early start time for their race. I thought this was a great idea. There was a great breakfast that was set up and did not seem to run out despite the large groups of people. My only complaint was the bed was a little stiff for me. Other than that the rooms were clean, the staff was great and the hotel was close to good restaurants.

My husband and I found ourselves unexpectedly needing to spend the night in the Rockland area. The Best Western in Rockland had availability and offered a competitive rate. We found the room clean, the bed comfortable and the staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. My only comment is that the room smelled vaguely of covered-up stale cigarrette smoke, although it was not overwhelming. The free breakfast is superb and Rose, the dining room hostess, made our stay!. In addition to creating a friendly, family-style atmosphere, she also offers an outstanding breakfast spread - delicious scrambled eggs, sausage, various breads and sweet rolls, waffles and pancakes, cereal (hot and cold), fresh fruits, yoghurt, and various juices and coffee/tea. We so enjoyed our in promptu experience - I highly recommend the Best Western in Rockland!

I've stayed at this Hotel, a few days every month, for the last ten years! I've Nothing but ULTIMATE Praise, for the Hotel, for the Management, for the Employees, for the Rooms, for the Atmosphere, and for the Breakfast!! I've NEVER experienced ANY Trouble at this Hotel, because the Hotel is WELL Run and the People are Hospitable, and IF Anyone DID experience Trouble at this Hotel then MAYBE they Were the Cause!!! When I got here there was a little work going on at the front entrance of the Hotel. (UPGRADES). After checking into my room I found it was spotless, comfortable & smelled good, unlike other places I have stayed. The staff were all very professional from Management to the lady who prepared the breakfast. All in all this was one of my more pleasurable stays in any Motel.. I highly recommend staying at this place.

I stay there a few times a month for work trips and I am greeted with a warm smile every time I check in. They are always very welcoming and will help you with anything that you need. The breakfast is great and full of different options for the great price of staying. I have stayed at this hotel many many times along with my family and coworkers. The staff is courteous and always friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast is always hot and plentiful. This is a great value hotel. I have forgotten items at this hotel and they have saved them for me until my next visit when I had no idea that I had left them. Some 30 to 60 mins drive (depending on the traffic) from the Boston city centre, but the comfort is on very good level: room was very clean and very well equipped, I enjoyed very comfortable bed, warm breakfast. Staff was very polite, wifi ok.

We stayed at Best Western Rockland for 4 nights. The room was clean, quiet, and bed was comfortable. The complementary breakfast was good. This hotel is within walking distance of several restaurants/clubs. Last trip we stayed at the Double Tree which is next door and there was lots of noise from late night parties in lobby and they do not offer free breakfast. Glad we stayed at Best Western this time.

This was ideally located to good restaurants in walking distance and 2 miles from a shopping/restaurant area. The staff was solicitous and eager to make my stay a comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and the room spotless. Breakfast selections were great, something for everyone AND the chef even made me some bacon on request. Can't ask for more.

Very disappointed! We stayed 2 nights and will never return. The hotel is old, but the hallway, staircase and the room was dirty. Used tissues left in window sill of hallway, stained lamp shades, hair in bedsheets, dirty carpet in room. The breakfast is mediocre. The bagels were not fresh and refrigerated, and we saw a hotel employee who was refilling the food stick his bare hands in the full garbage to push the trash down. Upon leaving the manager asked us to rate the hotel a 9/10! Really gave us a bad vision of Best Westerns!

"Half Updated Hotel with Breakfast"

I was a little leary to try this hotel at first. It seems they have renovated a lot of the hotel but left other things not updated. That is the first thing i noticed. I usually notice the room doors first which seemed to be old and painted over. Walking in the room was nice and there was no smell of any old ciggarettes or anything like I was expecting. The room was very clean. The bathroom counter seemed to be new, but the faucets were not, the tub was older, the shower head was new, but the faucet was not. The toilet wasnt new but the mirror was GOREGOUSLY new :) I loved the mirror in the bathroom the most. We would stay here again. The breakfast is hearty with scrabled eggs, sausage, waffles, yogurts, breads, coffees, teas, juices and cerial. REALLY nice if you are traveling with kids and need to grab a quick bite back to the room. The front desk staff was always so very nice. We asked for a crib and it came promptly with sheets.

Three nights spent here. The receptionist were very helpful. Not many decent places to eat nearby though. We found it convenient for getting into Boston. Drove to the railway station where you could park for a few dollars all day. Trains were regular and took about 40 minutes to get into centre of Boston. The rail fare was only a few dollars as well.

Hotel is old in structure but has been updated. Staff was amazing. Room and breakfast area clean. Breakfast offered a pleasant variety of food and the manager made sure everyone had enough food. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel Staff great. Nice, neat, quiet & clean room with all the amenities. They did not have an elevator but offered to take care of all of our luggage and equipment. Very pleased with Best Western. Great location, 2 miles from our event.

The staff made my stay a great experience. In addition, the included buffet breakfast ranked with the best. Housekeeping, the front desk, and the breakfast staff were extremely helpful, thoughtful, and accommodating. Hotel was clean and actually surprised to find the 24 hr available coffee really excellent! Although the hotel was totally full, my wait for assistance was extremely short!

We had 6 in our group and we would all rate the BW a #10. The rooms were clean & comfy. The breakfast had a great selection and the staff there was wonderful. Rose was so helpful in helping us decide what sights to see = it helps to hear it from someone who lives there.

Had a very nice five night stay in the Best Western Rockland, under difficult circumstances. The Hotel Staff led by Mr. Devesh K the General Manager was exceptional. Very friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast was very good with fresh food and very good coffee. Room makeup was very well done and quick. We spent two nights here while touring Boston. The room was clean and comfortable but it was the staff that made our stay so pleasant. Everyone from the general manager to the wonderful lady in the breakfast room was so friendly and went out of their way to offer suggestions on sights to see, places to eat, and ways to navigate the subway system into the city. I would highly recommend this hotel.

A very nice hotel at an affordable price. There was a TV, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot in the room which is great for travelers who like to save money on eating out at restaurants. Clean and efficient, this hotel is anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour from Boston, depending on the time of day. The savings are worth the drive time. Plenty of restaurants nearby as well as gas and grocery. It is also only a 20 minute drive to John Adams homes in nearby Quincy. I recommend this pleasant two story hotel for those who want to save money but not skimp on comfort and cleanliness.

We stayed here for the price, but were pleasantly surprised by the location, service and cleanliness of this place. The front desk staff was super sweet and nice and were willing for work with us when some of our party realized they made a reservation and a different location. The breakfast was good, had a bit of everything. The rooms were big, clean and made it feel like home. I would stay here again.

This hotel was perfect for us. It was in a nice location, close to the highway, easy drive to train station to Boston, and it had a number of quick food options close by. With fridge, microwave and coffee pot in the room, we were very comfortable. All night coffee pot with Vanilla creamers was a plus. Breakfast was great and open until 10:30 am. Staff friendly and helpful. Tina at the front desk will advise you on the best way to get around town and where to go. Not fancy, but clean friendly and convenient.

My husband and I stayed here while visiting Boston and Cape Cod. The friendly staff went above and beyond to make sure we would have a great stay. Thanks to all staff especially Rose that made sure the wonderful breakfast area was always clean and refilled. The make your own waffles is a nice touch. I would highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a "home away from home" kinda place. Keep up the great job!!

This "no-frills" hotel met all our needs for a 2-night stay on the South Shore. We were in town for a wedding where most guests stayed at the two hotels next door. However, we were on a budget and saved over $40/night by booking the Best Western instead, and had a wonderful stay! It's conveniently located to restaurants and stores, and despite being right off the highway, had no traffic noise. The room was big enough (though if staying for more than a few nights may have started to feel small), included a refrigerator and coffee maker, and was (most importantly in my opinion) clean. The friendly staff was what blew me away, however. I met several staff members over breakfast, including Rose, who was kind, personable, and accommodating to everyone's needs. I would stay again in a heartbeat!

We stayed at the Best Western in Rockland for 4 days last weekend, and we were very satisfied. They are located conveniently near the intersection of Routes 3 and 228, and the free hot breakfast with a wide variety of options is wonderful. We had a room on the first floor that was very convenient to the parking lot. Service was outstanding.

We stopped in without reservations. The front desk clerk, Janet, assisted us and accommodated us with the best room rate and signed us up for Best Western's reward program. Our room, 102, was one of four rooms in wing on the ground floor that had two stairs leading up to it. We had a lot of luggage and couldn't take the luggage cart any further than the stairs. Janet voluntarily helped us carry our luggage to our room. The breakfast was good with a selection of hot food. The room was in great condition and very clean. The bed was firm, which we love. The noise level was non existent and we slept well.

I ended up here after a very long drive and leaving another hotel in the area because of completely deplorable conditions. What a relief to walk in to this establishment! The people were very nice and the place was immaculate. My room was at 72 degrees and was in perfect condition. The breakfast was very good and the kitchen attendant was super nice to all guests. Just a great place to stay. The area of MA that this is in is absolutely beautiful as well. Definately recommend this hotel and the sports bar across the street.

Although the staff was extremely friendly, our bed in room 102 was more than uncomfortable. It felt like we were laying on a concrete slab. We got very little sleep our entire stay and my husband actually slept one night sitting up in the chair in our room. Our toilet wouldn't flush and the sink wouldn't drain. We brought it to the front desk's attention and assumed it was fixed as when we came back to our room later that day, the sink did drain but the toilet never would flush completely. Breakfast was so-so. The eggs were cold each day we tried them. We come to Massachusetts quite a bit from Indiana to visit family and wanted to give this hotel a try instead of our normal just for something different. If it wouldn't have been such a hassle to pack up our things and go stay somewhere else, we would have. Everyone was very friendly but if a person can't get a good night's sleep and are having repeated plumbing issues, that outweighs it all.

Mattresses can definitely be an individual choice for comfort but I do want to assure you that Our Mattresses/Box Springs in the Entire Hotel are Brand New..Serta Brand.. and were all installed in the past 3-4 months. I am sorry that this mattress did not suit your husband because we get a lot of positive feedback on it. As a practice our housekeeping staff while cleaning the tub or sink always report any water clog issues & we did not get any prior to your check-in, having said that they could have made an error but we got to know about this after the second day the room was occupied. Upon learning of the issue from you before housekeeping went to clean your room that day our maintenance did have a challenge with the sink when attempted & we called a plumber from outside to take care of it & fix it which we did before your return. Upon testing the toilet, flushing it multiple times we felt it worked absolutely fine. After having read your review I just wanted to share our experience as well & once again we are truly apologetic for the inconvenience.. We stayed here over a long weekend in Massachusetts and the location was great - not far from Plymouth and a reasonable drive to some of the Cape Cod sites (we made it to the Whydah Pirate Museum and then up to the Nauset Lighthouse, which latter was a little less than an hour and a half from the hotel if one drove it straight through), and on the other end not too far from Logan Airport. The hotel itself was really pleasant and very reasonably priced for the area/time of year. The staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful and the room was spacious and clean. We had a bathtub/shower combo in the bathroom (which I'd requested) and it was a decent-sized tub. The vanity also had nice lighting and was a good size with plenty of room to spread out all the brushes, makeup, etc. Note that the bathroom is all in one room - that is, the sink isn't outside the room the way it is in some hotels. We had a king bed that was very comfortable, with four regular-sized pillows that were nice and firm. Breakfast was also good. Scrambled and boiled eggs, sausage, waffles, toast/bagels/pastries/doughnuts, cereal, yogurt, etc. Everything was fresh and hot and kept well stocked. They even had salsa for the eggs which was a plus! There were also several restaurants close by - a sit-down called Bella's, a sports cafe, pizza place, a Chinese take-out across the street, Dunkin Donuts next door and a Burger King a couple minutes away. We didn't have the chance to eat at any of them but they were there if we needed them. All in all, a very nice stay and we'd definitely return when we're next in the area.

"OK for a Business Stop"

This hotel is perfectly fine for a brief business trip. Highlights include a large, clean room (passed the white socks test) and a very friendly staff. It is an older property that appears to have once been an outside-entry motel that was later joined to a new building and enclosed. The brown décor darkens the room and feels old although the carpet appeared to be new. Breakfast is included and is the usual bagged eggs and waffles buffet that is provided by many express hotels. The shower had adequate flow, but the sink had a tiny faucet with an annoying flow restrictor, making it easier to wash hands with bottled water. Overall, it was fine and I would stay here again on business.

We really enjoyed our stay in Rockland. The woman at the front desk was very helpful and gave us directions to the transit station so that we wouldn't need to drive into and park in the city. (The transit system is a good value -- one low price for access.) The woman in the dining area was also very nice and friendly. The high-speed internet was also a big hit. Much faster than the free internet at the hotel in NYC.

August is the annual single father/daughters reunion. Stayed here this year again. Rooms remodeled from top to bottom and MUCH nicer. Bed is really good for a B/W. We never partake in the breakfast so no idea if that has improved. Was NOT good last year (2015).

We stayed here for 4 nights and were very impressed with the clean and spacious room. Everything was perfect! I have very high standards for hotel cleanliness and the room was immaculate. The staff was very friendly - everyone was very gracious, warm and friendly - from the front desk people to the breakfast attendants and the cleaning staff! Breakfast was great! We were there 4 mornings and were so pleased with the variety - omelets and sausage one day with bacon and scrambled eggs another day. Always fresh fruit, delicious muffins, and of course great waffles! The location was perfect for day trips to Boston, Plymouth and Nantasket beach. We had such a great time and hated to leave.

Room and Bathroom were EXTREMELY spacious. I was there for only a night but could have easily stayed a week. My view of the woods outback was great, the light around the mirror was awesome and the room was comfortable and clean. It's in a very convenient location and wish I was there longer to explore. I haven't stayed at many Best Westerns in the past but I'm quickly becoming a fan. They've done a great job at updating the hotels.

I stayed here in a double queen room over the weekend. When checking in the front desk staff was very accommodating and friendly. It was right off the highway and very quiet! The breakfast could have been a little better, but you're away from home and not able to make your own so it was OK! It was great for me because it was 10 miles away from my destination and it was 30 minutes away from Boston. If you want to stay closer to Boston then you will want a closer hotel. Overall, great stay, great quality and a good price.

We had a family medical emergency and flew in without reservations. Staff went waaay beyond what was normal to make sure they could accommodate us. they got us a room, made sure we were comfortable, checked with us daily to be sure we were satisfied and even checked on family member's health status.

We arrived after midnight to a pleasant desk clerk. The hotel is old and despite partial remodels is really dated. AC was annoying but the rooms were really quiet. Unfortunately our room smelled of cigarette smoke but we were too tired to change. The breakfast was a bit pathetic in choices but the staff working it was great. The pluses about this hotel were the staff and the equipment in the exercise room.

Our three day stay was comfortable for myself, husband and two teenage boys. The rooms are clean, beds were comfortable and had a nice variety of breakfast choices from pancakes, bacon, eggs, bagels, cereal, oatmeal etc... Jonathan and the Front desk clerk were very tentative and pleasant.

My five day stay was great. The rooms were spotless. The staff were friendly. I left some toiletries behind and Tina at the Front desk dropped it off at my house. It was a pleasure to have hot coffee and breakfast every morning by Jonathan. We had a very pleasant stay. I would stay there again.

The Best Western in Rockland is the perfect location for South Shore adventures. The breakfast is a fine way to start the morning. The hotel is next to a fine restaurant, with good clam chowder! Free internet and parking, as well as the breakfast, are much appreciated. The hotel gives a suitable military discount.

Bed was comfortable, showers were great, easy to find and get in and out of. Convenient, only a $25 taxi ride to the Braintree train station, so going into Boston and having wine with dinner became a no brainer. The complimentary breakfast was about what you expect, except the level of service given by Joseph was far and away the best I have ever seen at a free breakfast buffet. Joseph came around and asked each table how everything was and picked up plates as we finished, kept the place spotless and asked us if we wanted anything else. He is truly an asset to Best Western. Next time I'm in the area I would definitely stay here.

Comfortable hotel close to highway and convenient to our location needs for visiting family and friends. Room very nice with very comfortable mattresses and pillows. Complementary breakfast is very good, fresh and tasty. Ample parking and Wi-Fi available. Great Italian restaurant, Bella's is a short walk from the hotel. .

My wife and I stayed five nights. The place is not new nor is it fancy. However, the price was reasonable, staff friendly and accomodating, breakfast included, bed comfortable, room clean, was airconditioned and easily accessible to both Boston to the North and Cape Cod, etc. to the South. We have made The Best Western Rockland "our home" when we visit our family in the Hingham and Boston area. We have stayed there for a few years now when we go for the Fourth of July festivities in the area. The rooms are comfortable and very, very clean! Check-in is easy, and this year, we had some help with our suitcases going upstairs. There are no elevators, so ask for a room on the first floor if that's essential for your visit. We had a refrigerator and a microwave in our room. There's a grocery store close by, about a mile or two from the hotel, to get water, milk, or whatever you need. The hotel is convenient to interstates, an easy drive to Nantasket Beach, Cohassett, Scituate, and if you are going to Boston, you can park your car at Hingham Shipyard and take the commuter boat. Just check the Massport schedule. It's a beautiful cruise to Boston without the stress of driving. The hotel is also convenient to the start line for the foot race in HIngham on the Fourth of July. There's something for everyone at breakfast at Best Western Rockland. Lots of fresh fruit, oatmeal, assorted cold cereals, hard cooked eggs, yogurt, hot entree items that change daily, newly added pancake maker, and delicious fresh coffee. There's also a water dispenser to the left of the coffee (easy to miss). Jonathan has been working there for years and is very good at keeping all the food replenished. We love it! We definitely will return to BWRockland when we go back to the area!

I do not consider this BW a hotel. It doesn't have an elevator or luggage carts, so if you've got a large family or carry a lot of bags, if you're not able to get a first floor room you're going to get your exercise.

We stayed for just one night at this hotel, last Saturday. The hotel itself is very nice, not fancy at all but clean and decently appointed. The price was reasonable and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The only negative I'd say is that the walls between rooms seemed on the thin side; either that or the group in the room next to us were ridiculously loud at 2AM. I think it was probably a little of both. I almost called the front desk but they quieted down in time (or someone else called for me). But the best part of this hotel is the complimentary breakfast. It was REALLY good - fresh scrambled eggs, pancakes, bagels, fruit, juice. I lot if this is what you'd expect for breakfast, I know, but I also know a lot of hotels put out the bare basics and aren't great about keeping things restocked...or warm. Not so with this hotel. We'd stay there again just for breakfast.

We have stayed in many hotels/motels in many states across the USA. Best Western has been one of our favorite places to stay. This one in Rockland has a very personable staff who greets you and is very helpful in knowing the area. Our room was exceptionally clean to high standards. As I was in the business. The fitness center was easily accessible and well maintained. The breakfast was always plenty, no one had to wait for omelets, pancakes, or anything they needed. The staff was on top of everything. Being the 4th of July weekend and week it was a pleasure in knowing the staff was not stressed out about anything as they did work well with each other. The hotel lobby was very clean and you did not see the cleaning crew in sight but you knew they had to have been there. This is a perk for me as it is hard to keep a busy hotel clean when you are full and busy on a holiday week. I appreciate all the staff did for all who stayed. h hotel is off the interstate near shopping, near a grocery store, and all other amenities at your finger tips. Next time you are in Rockland, MA and need a place to stay call them you will not be disappointed.

breakfast was included , coffee was good, free USA paper, convenient comfortable stay, bed was very comfortable, pleasant view of trees and birds from our room, far enough from highway for a quiet room away from road noise, could hear sounds from baby and children from room above early one morning, close to several restaurants in Rockland, Hingham, Hanover, close to major highway and state roads.

We stayed here for two nights because it was close to the Red Line into Boston, then to Logan for our return flight. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms had recently be renovated and the beds were very comfortable. They had a decent breakfast and it met our needs. It is an older design so the bathroom sink did not have much counter space for cosmetics. This is the first hotel that I got a thank you note in my email. They really are striving to make travel comfortable. .

We stayed for three days last week and couldn't have been happier. Great location. Easy to get to. The room was perfect size. The staff couldn't be more helpful. It seems everyone goes above and beyond. Jonathan, the breakfast manager, was so accommodating- Professional, dedicated, friendly, and very helpful. And the breakfast that comes with the room was great too. Variety, quantity, and delicious! My uncle is handicapped and everything went off without a hitch. Highly recommend this hotel! (And it's close to Target! :). )

I was surprised and happy with the hospitality and friendliness of all the staff, including housekeeping. When one is a guest at any facility, one expects the staff to offer cheerful & helpful hospitality. The room was very clean, the bed firm, but comfortable, and the Handicap Accessible bathroom was fully equipped with walk in shower, including adjustable bench. The AC and refrigerator were quiet.

Could not have had a better experience. Room was comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Who could ask for anything more? Everyone was bending over backwards to be accommodating. I am a vegetarian but the omelets had meat in them. Everyone was so apologetic and trying so hard to help me but there were so many other things to choose from and I was more than satisfied with breakfast but they offered to make whatever I wanted the next day. I am not used to such kindness from a hotel staff. Great place to stay and I look forward to going again.

We stayed at the Best Western Rockland for a family vacation. We picked this property since we had stayed here before on previous trips. The facility has been updated since our last stay about 2 years ago. We had a King room that was nicely appointed. Staff kept the room very clean. The breakfast was well-managed and we felt like we were in a restaurant as the dining room manager took care with us and all the guests to make sure everything was OK. The front desk staff were very welcoming and friendly from check-in through two extensions on the room and through checkout. It felt like we were leaving friends when we checked out. Overall a great trip and we will definitely return to the Best Western Rockland for any future visits.

The staff at this newly remodeled hotel was very friendly and accommodating. The continental breakfast was exceptional and the gentleman working in the morning was very contentious of your needs. This hotel was clean and up to date and has been recently remodeled. My stay was for 5 days and was very pleasant. Definitely would go back again when I'm traveling on business. Everyone in this hotel is really friendly. When you are away from home you look for a homely experience that they offer. I love spending time in the lobby, talking to the managers and sipping coffee. I stayed numerous times (once for an extended period of time) at the Best Western in Rockland, Ma. The location is great; minutes off of Rt. 3. With Hingham, Norwell, and Weymouth right by, there are plenty of restaurants, stores, etc. just minutes away. The hotel's outside appearance leaves a lot to be desired (dumpster, storage containers, etc.), but it is understandable due to the renovations. The rooms are spotless, and the housekeeping did a nice job of keeping the room clean. Probably the highlight of the stay. Everyone at the front desk was very friendly, however the service was inconsistent. One associate took nearly 30 minutes to check us in. Another (the manager) forgot to e-mail a bill when requested, and another phone call had to be made. Also, I was initially told that a third-party reservation could be modified through the hotel itself, which I then was later told it could not be. Linda was phenomenal, and had made an exception so that the reservation could be modified and I wouldn't be out of a large amount of money. Unfortunately, there was a reason that the trip had to be cut short. On one of the nights we were there, the hotel had to shut off their water supply for 24 hours. Being over 2 hours away from home, this was a major inconvenience. I had to cancel the reservation, and make reservations at another hotel. The hotel did not offer any alternatives or any compensation. The only thing offered was a breakfast from Dunkin' Donuts. It was unfortunate; I ended up spending over $1K at another hotel because of this. All in all, an OK experience. The location and room were great. However, the inconsistency in service and the manner in which the water shortage was handled, I may look at other hotels in the future.

As you mentioned renovations, the dumpster & containers were definitely a part of it & I want you to know that they are gone. I am in absolute agreement with you that the outside appearance leaves a lot to be desired for which again I want to reassure you that the Management does see it just like our guests. I really wish we could get everything done in one go but we have to get the projects done in phases which is time consuming. We are in the process of doing our entire parking lot right now..New Asphalt, paving/seal coating & striping. This should be complete by the 24th of June, 2016. Thereafter the moment the parking lot is complete we are completely re-doing the landscaping. Please just give me time till the end of this month..I promise you that by the 1st of July, 2016 you would see a complete new picture for the exterior. As you know we just finished renovating all our guest rooms & the housekeepers indeed do a wonderful job in keeping the rooms really clean. I do apologize for the inconsistent service you received & not receiving your receipt timely. I also have addressed the timeliness of check-in with my staff as well having said that It concerned me that it took 30 minutes for you to be checked in & upon reviewing on all 4 different occasions I saw that you were checked in within 8 minutes. We did have to shut the water off for a period of 24 hours at the Hotel which was completely unexpected but had to be done & I am extremely apologetic for the inconvenience. The shut off was planned 10 days prior & I personally delivered letters to all in house guests as I could not get in touch with few guests to work out an option but I did not hear back from you. I do want to re-assure you that I completely understand how much of an inconvenience & frustrating this is but the leak had to be fixed. Also, has i been given a chance I guarantee you I would have made it right & kept you happy. I do hope you give us another chance to win your confidence & stay with us soon again. Sincerely,

This place has been renovated some since our last visit 3 years ago, so looks somewhat fresher. Good breakfast. My only complaint was that the water had a funny, salty taste -- perhaps due to a water softener. I drink a lot of water and couldn't drink it out of the tap in our room. Other than that, a very comfortable stay.

We are visiting from Canada to go to Fenway Park to see our Blue Jays play. Not far from the transit stations where we parked for the day and took the rail to the games which was about an hour. Parking was $7 and the rail was $2.10 each way. Beat the hassle of finding parking near the ball park for $40!

From the minute we got here, the staff could not have been more friendly Jonathan went out of his way to help every person during a busy breakfast shift. Rooms cleans. Bathroom was cleaned very nicely. Front desk was helpful. Nice stay for our team.

Staff was exceptional Excellent breakfast and Jonathan outdid himself. Desk clerk went out of her way to get me local information. all the staff was friendly and always let us know they were there for us. Hotel also in a very convenient location, at least for our needs.

We stayed for 4 nights while attending a family graduation & reunion and the Best Western Rockland was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and professional and the beds were comfortable! The Breakfast chef made the best waffles and omeletes! Our room was quiet with a georgeous view of Massachusetts forest. This Best Western was awesome and made our stay enjoyable!

I have stayed there twice this month, for multiple nights each time, and both visits, I have been impressed with the friendliness and customer service of their staff. The front desk personnel accommodated my special requests several times. The person in charge of the morning meal responded to my needs, and went out of his way to ask how the meal was, even when I did not necessarily have a special request. The building is still being renovated in some areas, but what has been done looks very nice, and when it is all done, the hotel property will look very nice, inside and out. They are definitely to trying make a good impression, and they are succeeding. They do take Corporate Lodging Cards!

Our room was very big and clean.. it had just been renovated. I requested for a second floor room in a quiet area and they fulfilled it! The front desk staff were awesome and so was the breakfast attendant in the morning, he came by and asked if everything was okay and if he could get us anything (it was very nice)! I'd gladly recommend to stay here if you are in the area!

Our room was very clean and recently renovated. It was a dark and quiet room. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. They helped us late in the evening and gave us tips for our travels during the day. Thank you for your generosity and hospitality.

The Best Western Rockland is standard for the hotel chain. I was lucky enough to be upgraded to a mini-suite which meant the room was large and spacious. Along with all the standard equient for a room it also has a microwave and fridge, although some nice restaurants are not far away including Bellas which is across the car park. Breakfast consists of a hot selection of eggs and either bacon or sausages depending on the day. There is also a range of pastries/breads a waffle iron and cereals. A word of warning though the coffee isn't the best thing you'll taste and I usually went to Dunkin doughnuts which is a short walk/drive up the street. Perhaps most importantly the room was very quiet with no noise from other rooms or from the street and it was comfortable for the week I spent there. The staff as well we're a definite plus - very friendly and attentive!

The Staff was exceptional from the Night Managers, we arrived at the motel around 10-11PM, we were treated like family, the breakfast was delicious, everything was hot, the area was clean and it was kept clean throughout our meal. The room was clean, we had plenty of towels, and washcloths.We left early in the morning, we were given"ToGo" breakfasts which were nutritional! The stay was Great, we will come again!

While on business, I stayed at the Best Western Rockland, Rockland, Massachusetts and would do so again without hesitation. The staff was simply amazing. They went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating despite being busy. Above and beyond! This is an exceptionally clean hotel tucked along side the roadway with dining options all around. When traveling in the Rockland area, book a stay at this hotel for a comfortable rest and top notch service.

The staff is always friendly and knowledgable, and they go out of their way to insure we have a great stay. Right now they are upgrading and redecorating all of the rooms, which I am really excited about. Since the new manager, Divesh, took over four years ago, he has made so many improvements to every part of the property, namely the lobby with new carpets and decor. The breakfast area had one wall redecorated and new machines have been added. Rooms got new mattress and new TVs. Even the entranceway got a new wall, and the fitness room got new equipment. I have been staying here over 15 years, and I have never seen so many improvements. The front desk (Janet, Linda and Tina), maintenance (Scott) and breakfast crew members (Jonathan and Paul) are always so helpful and friendly. I especially like the new coffee machine, which constantly has hot coffee and hot water for tea, plus the new frig to keep the yogurt and other items cold. So, if you are looking for a place to stay, consider staying at the Best Western in Rockland. You won't be disappointed.

The Hotel Staff are very friendly and very helpfu. The rooms are clean and the beds and pillows are comfortable enough to ensure a good night sleep. The only problem is that there are no elevators and the ouly ice machine is on the first floor, but fortunately there are only 2 floors.

Well, my complaint is the price pretty much.. For the money I paid I expected a much better room. I have no idea what was going on in the empty rooms nearby but seems they were cooking and it was terrible smell.. Thinking the contractors were using the rooms to cook. Breakfast was good and staff friendly.

In the midst of a busy schedule this hotel has always been an oasis for me. I travel extensively and come to this region quite often. I think ahead to where I'll stay and enjoy planning to stay at Best Western Rockland. It is so close to friends whom I visit and shopping facilities are nearby. Restaurants are very close and I have easy access to where my business appointments are.

We chose this Best Western because I have had good experiences at Best Western in the past and it was a good experience again. It is close to highway but there was no noise, the room and the facilities were clean. I have been spoiled by the breakfast spread at other Best Westerns this was acceptable but not impressive.Pancakes, hard boiled eggs and danish were all good. The coffee was a little weak - and that is hard first thing in the morning. A good value for the price and I would go back.

Best hotel with reasonable rates! Room is beautiful and clean. Staff is amazing! You can do your own laundry or choose dry cleaning. Great breakfast. Overall great experience! I highly recommend! They have wifi, flat screen TVs,refrigerator, coffee pot, ironing board and iron in the room! Awesome experience! Oh and the beds are soooo comfortable!

Whenever we are in Massachusetts to visit relatives we stay at the Best Western in Rockland, Ma. The atmosphere is friendly and quiet. The manager Dev is very interested in making your stay at the Best Western a truly great experience. He is warm and has your best interests at heart whether it be travel information he gives out or places to dine or shop. Tina at the front desk is what made our stay most enjoyable as she makes serving the clients her first priority. The rooms are spacious and clean and there is no sounds to heard from other suites filtering into the room your staying in. Housekeeping is prompt, courteous and very thorough in making the room over for another day of comfort and quality. The complimentary breakfast is very good with a large selection of edibles for the hungry guests. Parking is plentiful and I would recommend this facility to anyone who will be staying in the area for business or pleasure.

We stayed here for a hockey tournament. It is a no frills hotel, but the price was good. The king room was large and the free breakfast was great. The staff was fabulous. The women who checked me in helped us bring our luggage to our room. Didn't expect service like that. I would definitely stay again.

The Best Western is a great place to stay in MA for futsal. We attended a futsal regional event last weekend. The hotel was the closest hotel to the venue. Mr. Devesh was very accommodating and friendly when we arrived. Free hot breakfast, clean rooms and nice decor. We will stay here again.

The Best Western was a great place for the price. It is clean and neat and has the necessary amenities to make a comfortable stay. Everyone I dealt with was pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was good. Eggs, waffles, bacon/ham, cereal and pastries which were a great start to the day. Fruit, juice, coffee were also available. I did notice that the heating unit was very loud, so I turned it off. Janet noted I was limping a little when I walked in and made sure I had a first floor room as they don't have an elevator. Only two stories so not a big problem.

This hotel was very clean, with a friendly, helpful & welcoming staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. I plan to stay there if I visit that area in the future. I would suggest however, that they consider putting small refrigerators in the rooms.

Best Western Hotel in Rockland, MA is a fantastic hotel that is perfectly located between Boston and Cape Cod. Best Western has a full breakfast every morning and a nice functional Exercise Room. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. When we visit the area we always choose Best Western.

I have been staying at Best Western in Rockland for over a decade on a regular basis, and would not consider any other motel in the area. The staff is warm, friendly, and efficient, going out of their way to make sure everything is right--they even go to the trouble of putting me in the same room every time because they know it meets my needs. We are all pretty much on a first-name basis due to my frequency of stay, but I have seen them treat every guest the same way.

Your night clerk Janet was very helpful and polite in arranging our departure to return home. Janet helped arrange our plans to return our rental car at Logan airport and everything turned out extremely well. We had an early flight and her advise made our return easy. She also provided us with a care package for breakfast since we departed too early for the hotel breakfast. Please give Janet a pat on the back, you have an excellent employee. We stayed at your Rockland MA location from 9/29/15 until 10/6/15.

We flew into Boston for a very quick family gathering last month and stayed at this hotel. It was chosen for us by our local family members - as it was just up the street from the venue for the gathering! The location was great...just over a half an hour got us from Logan airport to check in. Parking is fabulous. No concerns about safety or security at all. The room itself was huge!! A king sized bed with a pull out couch. Plus it had a little kitchenette too. Anything we could have wanted. Well, except an elevator! So, if you have lots of luggage, this might be a negative! The breakfast buffet, which is included, was the best I've seen at a hotel. Bacon, eggs, toast, bagels, waffles, fruit, yogurt, anything you could imagine for breakfast was there. It was hot! We did watch the guy in charge of that area scrunch the garbage down with his bare hands, then check on the food,without washing his hands which wasn't exactly appetizing. BUT hopefully that was a one time mistake? I'm going to give away my age now...but I am of the New Kids on the Block generation. Which means I am also a huge Wahlburgers fan. Their original restaurant AND their Alma Nove restaurant are in Hingham, MA...gorgeous spot. And THIS hotel was a great location to experience the sites and sounds of touristy Boston and Cambridge PLUS getting to Hingham for that. Will definitely stay again!

Thanks for the attitude. I work nights and it was like pulling teeth to convince the front desk guy to do his job and make a phone call when a room became available. Not a big fan of finding sketchy drug dealers hanging out in your parking lot at night either. Thanks so much for thee room ALL the way in the back by the dumpster.

Chose this hotel as the price was right, and it was close enough to our destination for a day in Boston. Room was comfortable, although a bit noisy from road traffic early in the AM on the front side of the hotel. Needed to print one page from the computer in the lobby... The printer did not work. Tina at the front desk came over, and tried to make it work. I forwarded her the email I had for a tour in Boston... That did not work.. I thought I would have to go elsewhere to print out my tickets. Tina asked if I was comfortable giving her my password to my email.. I wrote it down, she used her computer to open my email, print out my tickets, and we were on our way... Excellent customer service right there... She also gave us a map of Boston, and some excellent suggestions for things to do for first timers... Would stay again for sure

We stayed in this hotel from Thursday through Monday, we were in room 126. The bed sucks! It gave me back pain so we have to switch hotel we went across the street hotel and stayed there for 2 days and the bed is way better, unfortunately they couldn't extend our stay because they were fully book so we have no choice than to go back to Bestwestern, this time we were in room 127 and the bed is the same as room 126. Best Western need to invest in buying new mattress.

My aunt and I have stayed at the Best Western in Rockland several times this fall for family medical issues. I asked about the $25 reward credit and was told by the night clerk (don't know his name) that you had to register on line. This visit after breakfast, I talked with Tina at the registration desk and she was so very helpful and apologized for our previous experienced. Tina registered my aunt right then in the Best Western Rewards program. Tina was also very accommodating in booking us a room with a refrigerator needed for medications. She also made a few copies needed for the lawyer and helped me connect to the wifi. I wish I could encounter this type of customer service on all my travels. This was the first time I stayed at this hotel. I came to the area to see a Red Sox game and to do sightseeing. There was plenty of free parking. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful with things to do in the Boston area. The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was good and was constantly kept up.

We stayed for 3 nights in a king room. The hotel was very easy to get to. The room was very spacious and clean. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was very good including eggs, cereal. bagels, make your own waffles, danish, coffee, juice and one day there were veggie omelets.. The free WiFi was really great, we didn't have any problems with it. We were in a room at the very end of the hall and it was very quiet. The bed a bit stiff but we made do with that, not that big of a deal. Our room was cleaned everyday. We had a great price and we loved that breakfast was included.

OK room, change of sheets after 5 days after complaint! No toilettepaper, no clean towels and no cleaning after being away one whole day! Ants on the wall, torn wallpaper in a corner. Unclean chair. Lousy continental breakfast, no cheese or ham. Only green tea. Bacon and scrambled eggs only a couple of times, mostly sausage and some sort of omelette?! No real butter, no marmelade.

Dear Guest, Thank you for letting us know about your experience with us during your stay. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you had during your stay with us. We have daily housekeeping services and our housekeeping staff does an excellent job in making sure every room is serviced.. There were a couple of days where you had the DND sign on the door due to which our housekeepers as a policy would not go in the rooms.. They also do check one more time before they'll leave for the day just to make sure the if the sign is removed and they could go in and clean the room.. Which was not in your case.. Also in breakfast we have a very large variety and our guests love it.. I'am sorry it did not meet your expectations.. You can always count on having the best service and best breakfast at this great location. Friendly staff 24 hours! Easy access to rooms from parking. Rooms are large with ample pillows. Close to many sevices too.
