My husband and I stopped for the night. Nice friendly staff. The breakfast was good. Plenty to choose from. As we were eating breakfast one of the staff came into the breakfast room and asked what room we were in and then asked if we left these pants behind. Oh my goodness that was so nice. I'm so happy to still have my pants. Will stay again. Thank you!

"poor property"

check in went poorly because front desk man either did not understand English or wanted us to think he couldn'tair conditioning was noisy - we therefore did not sleep well at allthe breakfast was the worst we have had at a motel in many, many years

"Convenient and good value"

Richfield is the perfect halfway point between Denver and So. California. Excellent value. Hallways, stairway and bathrooms were very dark. Vending and ice on the first floor only; no elevator.Manager / front desk must have had a bad day; he was seen / heard arguing with staff and customers.

"Great room and service for the price"

The motel was well located just off the highway in a nice, quiet location with easy access to town. The room was clean, well furnished(microwave, fridge, flat-screen TV and good selection of channels) and the bed was very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was very good with multiple choices

The staff was friendly, helpful, courteous, knowledgeable and always had smiles on their faces...always going the extra mile to ensure my stay was great! The breakfast area was clean and had good food. I also slept wonderful, sleeping through the night without waking up 2-4 times as I normally do. Great stay and great folks doing a wonderful job working and running the Best Western!

"Convenient Comfort plus Dog Friendly"

Stayed here for 5 nights as we checked out the area. It's right off the highway with an Arby's, Subway & Frontier Village Restaurant you can all just walk to. Grassy area for the dogs. We didn't take advantage of the fitness room, but it looked well equipped. Breakfast is adequate, but after 3 days a little more variety would be nice. The staff could not be more accommodating!

"Yucky expereince among the Yucca"

We chose this hotel because we had enjoyed our stay at the BW in North Platte, and wanted a microwave in our room to heat dinner. We were disappointed to find that this small, potentially charming, hotel does not seem particularly interested in our business. Our room reeked of wet dog and urine (in this pet friendly hotel), but we arrived late and didn't want the hassle of moving. I didn't put anything on the floor for fear it would stink of pee. A plus point is that the beds, sheets and pillows are super comfy, and we slept well. But in the morning, a rude man (the manager or owner) paraded through the hotel shouting on his phone. This included in the microscopic breakfast area, where families were struggling to find food and seating. The biscuits and gravy looked like WWII surplus, but the rest of the food was acceptable, They just had no room, and the horrible shouting man. When I tried to check out, he shoved a plastic basket at me for my keys, and never spoke to me at all (because he was busy yelling into his phone.) Awful. Do yourself a favor and stay at the Comfort Inn down the road - where it's clean, and the people are friendly.

"Good location, pretty views"

Check-in was easy. They had a computer/business center in front and it was not on hotel row, so that provided some privacy. My room was fine and it was close to the gas station. Not thrilled with the workout room though.

Thank you guys for accommodating to us and giving us such a great rate!!!! All your staff and crew was so helpful!!! Last night we checked in and your front desk was so helpful in checking us in.. did I tell you he was also welcoming!!! The breakfast was also good it's had also of choices !!! Great service. Had a scheduling error that they were kind enough to help negotiate. Would recommend staying here to anybody looking for a nice relaxing time. Pool and breakfast are not too shabby either.

"Overnight"

I tried calling the hotel directly to make reservations. I finally gave up and called the 800 number. Due to a bad knee I needed a room on the main floor, which I requested. Upon arrival to the hotel there was no one at the front desk, used call button waited 15 minutes. They gave us a room on the 2nd floor and they have no elevator. Reminded them of my main floor request. The room itself was nice. The sheets had been put on the bed backwards, making me think they recycle them before washing. The mattress protector was to small and kept slipping and bunching up. The shower curtain was moldy. Customer service was terrible.

"Good Freeway Motel For An Overnight Stop"

Decent motel but on a very lonely exit on I-70, not far from the I-15 merge. Probably the best thing about this location is the cheap fuel at the truck stop adjacent to the freeway ramp. The motel has an upper floor but I didn't notice an elevator. You'll find an indoor pool and hot tub and in-room coffee, a small fridge, and a microwave. You can help yourself to a free morning breakfast before check out but, at my sitting, there was no fruit. There's WiFi for which you'll need a code, but the lobby computer was broken and it didn't appear that anyone was in a rush to repair it.

"Excellent hotel with nice and neat rooms"

Rooms were clean and good size for 2 queen beds.Staff members were very nice and helpful.Breakfast had a good spread and quality. Bathroom were a bit small but very clean. The overall property is nice and new. It was a good experience staying for a night during over our journey to Zion and Bryce canyon

"Very disappointing Best Western"

We normally stay in Best westerns for our road trips. This particular hotel will NOT be used by us again. The towels are old and feel like sandpaper. The shower heads need to be replaced as they feel like a sandblaster against your skin. The manager got huffy with my wife when she went to get a couple extra sheets of sandpaper, I mean, towels. He yelled at her that there were 3 in the room and she should not need more. He finally gave them to her, but she should not have to be belittled because she was hoping for two softer towels. The sheets need to be replaced (some were yellowish, as in old, and some were white.) The elastic on our bottom sheet of the bed was worn out, so the sheet would not stay on the mattress, very annoying when your sleeping. The breakfast here was not good at all. The biscuits and gravy were as cold as hockey pucks, to be covered by wallpaper paste...best way to describe them. Decided to go to the standard backup of a waffle...nope...the batter was as thin as water, I understand trying to save money, but come on. And the coffee...YUCK! The only reason they got 2 stars was because the internet worked descent, and the a/c worked pretty good...our particular unit, I had to put on the constant fan, otherwise when the unit powered down it sounded like a squeaky door was being opened and closed. Woke me up, thinking someone was coming in the room at 11:00 pm, so that's just a tip for you if you're unit makes that sound.

"Does not deserve the Best Western name"

This is an older hotel that needs some serious renovation, but that is not the issue that prompts me to write this negative review. The arrogance and inconsiderate treatment of the guests is. I drove a long time, got in late, and wanted to get a good sleep here. I put the ‘do not disturb' sign on the door, and yet, at 7:30 AM, I woke up to Indian voice repeatedly yelling ‘hello! Are you awake! Are you awake!' I woke up and yelled back- ‘what!?'. She responded with a loud ‘So sorry! So sorry!', and she yelled the same thing the next door down- which also had a no disturb sign on the door. Next thing I know, the children in the next rom were awake and started crying. I tried to lay down again and wait it out, only to hear a vacuum on in front of the door from 8 Am to 8:30, and realized that I was not going to get more sleep here and and got up and showered. After washing up, I looked for coffee, there was a machine in the room, but no coffee. At 9:15, I walked out, asked for coffee, and the owner said ‘so sorry- after 9, no coffee!' I talked to the guests next door, and they said that they were upset to be woken up early as well, this was a terrible stay for someone that gets up after 7:30.

"Poor very rude manager "

Booked room for my daughter, manager was very rude and hard to understand. Charged her credit card twice at booking when it should just be a guarantee hold and charge at check in. Was very difficult to get money back and would not send confirmation when canceled. He yelled at us and lied to us. Don't stay here. He claimed he was the owner

"Good rooms. Strict management."

Rooms were a good size, but could use some minor sprucing up. Breakfast was from 6am to 9am and must only be eaten in the dining area. No food can be taken back to the rooms, and it was under watchful eyes if this happened. Night manager was a little abrasive, but it was fine. We were tired and just needed a place to crash for a night. Overall a decent value.

Room was clean, bed comfortable, service good, and upgrades done to room. The dog park being a block away made it the place to stay for us. Got a first floor room next to the back door - made it easy to take the dog out. Nice restaurant within walking distance was a plus. Breakfast was so-so.

"Family reunion lodging"

This place is affordable and clean. Very family friendly in the environment and staff. Indoor pool was clean and the continental breakfast is a full big breakfast with waffles, egss, sausage, yogurt, pastries, etc. The washer and dryer on site is a nice perk. Staff was happy to give toothbrushes, bandaids, rubbing alcohol cotton balls and anything else we asked for for the weekend. Plenty of parking spaces, located right off the freeway. Nearby hiking, fishing, 4-wheeling, even rafting. Cute little town with restaurants and amenities. Would recommend to families, business, couples, etc. It is quiet, clean, comfortable beds and pillows and affordable for those passing through.

Stopping by on the way to California. Staff was great facility was beautiful. And couldn't beat the price!! Town was lovely. Restruant near by was great. Hotel had comfy queen beds along with a pool and hot tub!

After booking a two-night stay for my family in a pet-friendly room, I later found I would only be able to stay one of the two nights without my family and pets. Upon checking in, Ishwar was very gracious and made the changes without hesitation. He also slipped the revised statement under my door within 10 minutes of checking in. We called a day in advance to book this reservation. Please do not let the manager, Ishwar's accent make you change your mind, when you call, this is a very nice hotel. The staff was very accomodating, brought us an extra luggage rack since we had a lot of luggage. We were traveling with a handicap person, and they provided us with a room near the entrance. The hotel was spotless and the rooms were very well appointed. We are on our way home after attending a memorial for our brother in Colorado to California so we were grateful for the quiet and neatness of the hotel.

We stayed here only one night and wished we'd had more time to use the indoor pool and workout room. I was checked in by Ishwar who was very friendly and offered to upgrade our room, which of course I accepted. The hotel is extremely clean and bed very comfortable. The hotel is back from the Interstate and was very quiet. Breakfast was presented well - sort of standard BW breakfast. Would highly recommend this hotel.

The Richfield Inn, located just off Highway 70 in central Utah is my favorite place to stay when traveling in Utah. It has all the amenities of the more expensive motels and rests in a quite rural area just minutes from shopping fro anything you might need. The management keeps every aspect of this property right up to par and they are ready to assist with your needs at all times. I highly recommend a stay in Richfield at the Best Western Richfield Inn wherever you stay in Utah or are just passing through. I give it a five star rating, I'm sure you will too. Richard

We stayed here for 1 night. Glad we chose this hotel. Ishwar was super nice and also the lady that was cleaning the rooms. I didnt get her name,but they both were very friendly. This hotel is super clean. The beds were really comfortable. The breakfast was a very good varity. Very clean dining and hotel area We were super tired so we didn't use the pool . Also, i was traveling with my 2 small service dogs and i happen to ask for the 1st floor and they actually have me one with such a short reservation time. The are around the side of the hotel was absolutely perfect are for dogs. We will definitely be staying hetre again and most definitely recommend this hotel to everyone

Ishwar, the GM, was very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, and had enough room for me to do my morning exercises and stretching routine. The hotel was easy to get to and right next door a gas station and store to stock up on food, supplies and fuel before hitting the road.

We had a very enjoyable 2 night stay at this hotel. We wanted something a little out of town and this was perfect. Room was very clean, comfortable, quiet and reasonably priced. Manager was friendly and accommodating. Having Arbys and Subway within walking distance was also a plus!

The location is about 2 hours north of Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park. The town of Richfield isn't as big as I first thought, but there are decent dining options. The hotel was dimly lit in the halls and pool area, but the rooms were comfortable and quiet during our stay. Breakfast was a tad minimal compared to other locations, but the basics were all present and it was free, so no complaints. This locations served us well on our road trip, but probably isn't great as a home base. We stopped in after visiting Zion, on our way back to Canada.

My husband and I were traveling from CA to Denver and spent the night at this hotel. During the night my husband had a medical emergency and I called the general manager. He was most helpful. After a night in the emergency room we slept in and missed breakfast. In the morning the general manager was waiting at our door to check on us. He let us in the breakfast area and gave us coffee and food. He was most caring and we greatly appreciated his concern and his help. He went above and beyond what one might expect. Also, it is a nice reasonably priced hotel. Rooms are clean and attractive. Service is excellent!

I was leary of staying here for the first time after reading some bad reviews but I have a cat and didn't want to pay the extra $25 the other pet accepting hotel in Richfield, Utah charges. I'm so glad I tried it! I was quite happy with the bed, the decor and the friendly owners/staff. The price was very reasonable and I will definitely be staying here again on my trip back through here. I didn't try the breakfast and didn't realize they had free wi-fi. Oh, and you can't hear the freeway if that's a concern. The only noise I heard was from people talking in the hall and not from the rooms nextdoor or the outside. I had a king bed room that was a little tight on space but staying alone with I didn't mind since it was just me and my cat. If you want your bathroom larger and the sink not in the room you might want to pay more at a different hotel. I just wanted to get a good night's sleep on my travels at a decent price. This was fine for me.

This is a nice reasonably priced hotel. The property is clean and well maintained. It appears the rooms were recently renovated. All of the furniture is fresh and modern. The owner is very accommodating and helpful. The property is close to the highway and food. I was able to have pizza and a salad delivered. It was perfect. This is always my first choice in Richfield.

This Motel is next to the interstate, great dining, and gas. Close access to Richfield. The Manager is very welcoming and very helpful. This is a great place with a great hot breakfast with sausage and eggs and cereal. Nice pool and hottub. Plentiful parking in front of Motel so I could keep an eye on my car.

Clean, modern rooms, very friendly front desk staff, fantastic breakfast. Great value and close proximity to many amenities including fishing lakes. One word of caution if visiting in winter, there were some icy spots in parking lot on north side of hotel. There were plenty of other spots that were ice free. Would stay here again.

"Long drive and just what we needed"

We drove for 12 hours and needed a good night sleep, my wife went into to 2 other Motels and said no way, when she came out from this motel she said it looks great! Just been all remodeled and the young lady that check us in was a 10, so helpful and nice. The beds were great and the morning breakfast was one of the best! Travelling through Richfield, Utah and had a very pleasant stay at the Best Western. Friendly staff, well appointed room including a larger than half size refrigerator, microwave and full breakfast, too. The location is quiet even though it is on Main St, making it a convenient over night stay.

The fan in the first room I was given was too loud so I was given a different room where the fan was just as loud. There was hair on the sheets. I did not feel the room was clean nor did I feel comfortable. The staff was fine. The breakfast was typical. I would not recommend this hotel.

"Room not clean"

The room had not been cleaned properly after the last guest. There was dirt and hair in the bed, the floors, counters and toilet were dirty. The owner/manager was kind and apologetic and gave us another room, but the night was ruined. We noticed things after that. The sheets were turned inside out, which made us feel like they had not changed the sheets, just turned them. The bed was comfortable, but we were not, felt like we were sleeping in someone's dirty bed. We didn't shower, or eat breakfast, couldn't trust the cleanliness.

A very good stay. Rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was very good. The service at the breakfast was exceptional. No hesitation to stay here again. Convenient to Goblin Valley and hiking some slot canyons.

"One of my favorite hotels"

This is one of my favorite hotels to stay in. The hotel staff always greets me by name. They treat me like a friend. Whenever I come to the hotel, they try to make sure that I get one of my favorite rooms. Since I'm usually a “late-leaver”, they also tell the hotel staff not to bother me earlier. I really appreciate the kindness they always treat me with. The hotel is very convenient for what I need. It is always very clean. They have a really nice breakfast room, where the food is always good. This is s place, not to be missed.

"Great last minute stay."

Had my truck break down in Salina and had to get a tow over to Richfield. Checked online and got a room for a very reasonable price last minute. The manager of the hotel is very friendly and helpful. The next day while I was dealing with getting my truck to the shop and needed a late checkout they were more than accommodating. As for the hotel itself, I didn't know what to expect for a small town, but it was very well kept and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was nice and again, I can't say how nice and helpful everyone was. Thanks for a great stay. If you are stopping in Richfield, you should stay here.

Not the normal BW! Room is in desperate need of updating, staff was not helpful. The towels were mismatched and a funny yellow color, dirty towel in the bathroom when we arrived. Not cleaned well. Saturday breakfast was put away at 9:05. Lock on hotel entrance door did not lock.

I am pretty sure it was the owner who was at the front desk to greet us. Very nice man making accommodations for us to check in early and get us next to our family who had already checked in. The rooms are decorated nicely and besides some trouble with the toilet the stay was very nice and the bed is SO COMFORATABLE!

"Old & Dated Motel"

This is a MOTEL, not a HOTEL. The entire property & their rooms are old & dated. There are no lifts, & we had to carry our luggages up the stairs. Bed mattresses were soft & uncomfortable, & the bed-sheets did not seemed to have been changed from the previous occupants as the sheets were badly wrinkled. Towels were old, thin & grey. Breakfast was very standard consisting of toast, cereals & juices. A burly, half woken man stood by the breakfast counter auditing what each of us were eating. Come on, the food & facility were so bad that it is hardly worth taking anything in excess!! Best Western facilities must have downgraded to a standard that is hardly worth considering in future. It also seems that they have sold their properties to individuals who do not comprehend hygiene, sanitation, customer service & basic comfort.

Stayed here one night on drive from West Coast to Colorado. Called Best Western about 1 hour before Richfield and booked points over the phone. Pulled in 7:30 pm - checked in just fine. Room clean, orderly. Ate home style dinner just 1/2 a block away at manager's recommendation. Slept very well, had breakfast and left. Manager very friendly and well organized. Breakfast room clean. Breakfast simple but good for inclusive. This is a good value hotel and is close to the freeway but far enough so you do not get the freeway noise at night - especially with the roadworks currently directing traffic onto the hard should and the rumble strips. The one star reviews were misleading and appear to be someone abusing Trip Advisor which I personally do not appreciate.

Wonderful staff, nice place. Quiet, good bed. Internet service was good. Motels/ hotels need to stop putting out those tiny bottles of lotion and, I recommend putting out packets of toothpaste. Booked a 3 night reservation with priceline, but ended up leaving 2 days early-business trip ended quicker than we expected. Hotel manager was more than accomodating, and kindly understanding of my situation. As for priceline? I guess they still charged the hotel their 3 day share. Sad, because I believe you should only have to pay for what you use. But you gotta check this hotel out, it was worth the stay-nice, quiet, firendly, super clean,and everything worked as it should, unlike other hotels I have stayed in! I will definitely come again.

Main Street light was out would have missed it had I not stopped for gas. Toilet ran if not giggled sheet were either past prime or cheap. Breakfast was abominable. Chipped beef ice cold. Ran out of everything and had to get Maher. I guess who showed up in gym shorts and well you get it.

"Stay Away!"

It is a moderately priced hotel. I did not expect fancy, but I did expect a CLEAN room. When I turned down the neatly made bed, it was obvious that the bed had not been changed! There were several hairs visible, and the sheets were wrinkled right where two torsos would have been. The shower curtain had visible mold growing along the bottom. The breakfast area looked clean enough, but when I peeked into the kitchen, the sink was filthy. Needless to say I did not eat there. Best Westerns are usually okay, but not this one. There are not many hotels in that area, we would have left immediately, but nothing else was available.

"Unable to report any problem"

The hot water didn't work. The bathroom sink didn't drain. One of the washcloths was filthy. The alarm clock didn't work. The AC didn't work. The door had to be forced shut or it took 2 minutes to close. The worst part, though, was the phone didn't work so I couldn't call the front desk. I walked down to the desk, rang the bell, stood there, and nobody came. So not only did a lot of stuff either not work properly or not work at all, I wasn't able to report any of it. Don't waste your money. At least the cheaper hotels have stuff that work, or people at the desk who will help if there's a problem.

"Nice rooms, sleeped good, poor customer service"

The rooms where nice, and comfortable. Not as clean as we would of liked. The fridge didn't look like it had been cleaned or even checked for a few different stays. The temperature of the pool was cold. Like river water cold. Also the hallways of the hotel were very cold. At least the heat was working in our rooms so we could go warm up. Also, my main problem with this hotel was the front desk attendant. He barely spoke English. This hotel is located in a high traffic tourist area, where many tourist who can speak limited English come and stay. You have to have a front desk attendant who can be understood and speak fluent English, this man did not, which made check in and check out very frustrating.

We stay at LOTS of Best Western hotels and am usually quite satisfied with my stay. However, I cannot believe that the location in Richfield, Utah is allowed to service guests under the BW logo. When we checked in, I should have known that there would be problems when the owner/manager was Skyping on his cell phone and ignored me while I was standing right in front of him for about a minute or two before he even acknowledged me. He could barely speak English so we had trouble communicating while he checked me in. While he was checking me in, an older man in the lobby standing right next to me was complaining to someone on his personal cell phone that the place was a dump and that he was not going to pay for his reservation nor would he stay there. This was yet another clue that we were in for an unpleasant stay. We had been driving for 12 hours and were so tired that we decided to stay there for the one night that we had reserved. The assigned room had a strong, offensive odor when we walked in and this caught our immediate attention. We figured that it would not do any good to ask to be moved because the entire hotel had a distinctive smell. The bed in the room was comfortable but everything else about the room was questionable at best. All of the towels were old, worn, and stained. There were a couple of hairs in the bathtub. There was NO elevator on the premises so we had to drag our luggage up the stairs. The room coffee tasted like hot water (not coffee). The complimentary breakfast had stale doughnuts and pastries and instead of individual small milk containers, he had a gallon of milk for everyone to use. The orange juice was awful and the scrambled eggs were full of water. He had signs on the wall that the guests could not take any breakfast items to their rooms. Never before had I seen this in a BW hotel. REALLY?!? We witnessed this manager wearing the same clothes the next morning as the day before and had seen him stocking the breakfast items and hurrying to clean a room down the hall and left the front desk with no one there. He had a basket at the front desk with a sign for guests to put their room keys in the key jacket and to drop them in the basket when they were ready to check out. Wish that we would have taken photos of everything but we were in a hurry to get out of there.

Dirty bathrooms, dirty towels - the towels were grey instead of white with big yellow and pink stains, dirty sheets on the bed with huge brown spots Management no help I would never stay here again! It took 30 minutes for the front desk to find a room for us, I had reserved a king size bed room, no didn't get that.

In the middle of nowhere, we found this hotel and were glad that we did traveling along to Denver, CO. The manager was super accommodating and gave us EXCELLENT service. He went above and beyond. He fed us breakfast after breakfast hours and carried our luggage out to the car. The hotel was undergoing renovations, so this man stayed all night to ensure the comfort of his guests. Dedicated manager! The bed was pillow top and super comfortable. Very affordable rate. I will definitely stay here again when passing through again in the Spring!

The motel itself is very nice. But the checking in and out was a nightmare. The gentleman checking us in did not speak English very well and kept talking to other employees in his language. our receipts were not right and he said he could not put our name on them even though he used my card to pay for the room. It took us 45 min to check in. Then we confronted the same person in the morning about our names not being right on the receipt he argued with us that he could not fix it. It took us 25 min to check out .

"Do not stay"

At Check in, We had to wait for someone. While we were waiting we observed papers printed on top of the counter of times of check in and breakfast times and other stuff. That's a sign that the front desk doesn't want to talk to no guest, that's a lack of customer service. The Indian male looked like he just woke up because his hair was bushy. I also saw a sign that pets were allowed for $15. When I called before, he asked me if I have a pet. I said no because I wasn't planning on bring my pet, but I asked him if pets are allowed and he said no. We asked were we can get something to eat. The Indian guy with no name tag mention Los 5 Amigos is very good and they give a discount for Best Western guest if we show our card. This was misleading because we took his recommendation, the food was good but this discount wasn't true. It was embarrassing when we asked for the discount, the young boy that was working told us he has been there since he was 7 years old and this is the first time he heard of this discount. We get back to the lobby so I can print out two papers in the lobby computer. There was no printer and I couldn't ask the front desk guy with no name tag for help because he wasn't at the front desk. By the way, the lobby smelled like smelly feet must be from the back room the Indian male is so eager to run back too. A group of Asians pulled up, most of them couldn't speak English, The Indian male with no name tag was yelling at the Asians telling them he doesn't want to look at their cell phone and he doesn't understand their language. I find that really rude. First and for most this is very unprofessional. Front desk for Best Westerns always makes sure the guest are taking care of and always helps the customers. They are best westerns number one priority. We get to our room and try to find somewhere to park which we did. I guess some people from Virginia book some rooms at this place and had four by fours. I don't mind the four by fours just as long as we get a parking spot and we did but this owner of best western had two Indian guys walk in the back like the guests was going to destroy their property. They are not cops sorry, they should be more worried and concerned on their housekeeping. Bathrooms tubs were not clean properly, you can see the heavy dirt build up.There was stains on their shower curtain looked like blood and a clean wash cloth had some brown bug poop or maybe looks like they killed a bug and left as is then place back on the rack in the bathroom. Very gross!!!!! Towels need to be changed to new towels, rooms need to be vacuum around the corners still have trash. Beds need to be better made. The toilet need a good scrubbing, the room we stayed in had brown poop stains in the toilet. Clean that stuff good. I hope I don't get a boil sitting or using the toilet. Looks like the room had a new sink (which the hot water was on the wrong side same for the cold water), mirror, and tile. To make this place better I strongly recommend more training on the customer service and housekeeping. I wanted to have a late check out and the same guy with no name tag from check in said no, what kind of crap is that. "NO" Well it was probably best we left. I will not stay here again. This is not a hotel this is more like a motel. I will not mention this motel to no one.

"Good night's sleep"

Our family stayed here on a road trip, in a King non-smoking room. The bed was VERY comfortable and the linens were soft and we had plenty of pillows. The room wasn't the cleanest - smears on the mirrors and desk, mildew on the shower curtain, dust in the corners of the room. The air conditioner worked well and kept us cool. There was no couch or futon for our toddler to sleep on, so we had to blow up his air bed. Breakfast was standard fare - eggs and sausage and biscuits and gravy, yogurt, pastries, etc. Overall, the good night's sleep was worth staying here. But I would probably try a different hotel in Richfield next time because the price was high for what we got.

On route to Arches NP from Antelope Canyon and stayed 1 night via tour group. We have to leave at 5:45 am and the hotel is gracious enough to serve our tour group with a small breakfast with milk, cereal, coffee, donuts, bread with jam and butter. We appreciate the kind gesture of allowing us to have a little something to eat early in the morning so that we are not hungry in the bus. Thank you for your thoughtfulness for providing the breakfast so early in the morning. Very few hotel willing to cater to large tour group and because you do, this speaks volume of your hotel not discriminate your customers based on the group of clientele that belonged to. I give you a LOUD SHOUT OUT for meeting and exceeding customer needs!!!

Stayed here August 28 in a first floor room that was surprisingly quiet. Lovely room, not over large but comfy and efficient. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was standard fare and well laid out. Let me mention the towels, which were soft and absorbent, unlike too too many hotel towels we've had to scrape across our wet bodies. NOT HERE. They are exceptional and I feel I need to mention them twice. Location right off Exit 40 on I-70 (don't get those two mixed up) at the north end of town. Many fine eateries close by and attractions - for instance, the Forest Service and BLM offices a couple of blocks away. Nice friendly folks throughout town. Ishwar and his man at the desk were top notch guys. Thanks fro all you do, you have a terrific place there. All our best. Peter & Amy (40th anniversary trip)

Best Western Richfield was a pleasant surprise and a great find. I was passing through Richfield while on a road trip so I decided to stop there for the night. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and inviting. The room was clean and comfortable. The location is quiet which made for a very relaxing stay. I will stop there again on future trips.

The room was not as expected of a BW. Breakfast is to be eaten in small dining area. I like taking coffee and breakfast back to room so I can get ready to leave as I eat breakfast. Likely will stay at the Holiday Inn, across the parking lot, next time.

The staff was professional and friendly. They greeted us with a smile and checked us if with out delay. The Manager checked with us as we sat in the lobby to see if we needed anything. The breakfast was good with a large variety of food. This is a must stop for us.

"Great place for the money"

This was a nice Best Western and the staff was very nice. The room was clean and functional and the pool was a nice cool off from a long drive. The reason why I have 4 stars and not 5 is because I booked the room work a pet on reservation with the Best Western 800 number but then when I arrived here, the manager didn't know and said he usually doesn't allow pets in the suit we were booked in but he would do me a favor and allow it. Well, it's not really a favor but just a miscommunication between the best Western phone reservations and the local Best Western

"Air condition not working..."

In July, Our bus stopped at Best Western Richfield Inn for one night. We checked in at 9 pm and had to check out by 5 am. We were tired and It was really hot temperature. After dinner , When we entered in the room air condition was on. In 30 min. it turned completely off. There was no power or no light on the air condition unit. so we waited about 45 mins or so.. room got so HOT, so call the manager. He said it will come back. In few minutes air condition came back. It worked 15 min. and again it stopped. Again called manager he asked us to change the room ... we were soo tied, had to get up by 4 am . In middle of night, we had to changed the room ... Guess what .. SAME SITUATION ... air condition worked for 15 mins and stopped again for 45 min. Room got HOT. Call the manager again , he asked to change the room!!!!! He asked us to empty the room and bring all the luggage down stairs in middle of night. We could not empty the room so finally he brought two fans. It was so old and loud,noisy.. We could not sleep whole night.. I think they control the main fuse from the office.To save the electricity they manually turn off the main fuse every 45 min. Be careful and make sure air is working... Next day we share our experience with other travelers in the bus. They had to complain about the swimming pool.. their skin was peeling off and eyes were burning....

"Pretty Decent"

Needed a place to stay for one night that was near I70 and pet friendly. This hotel fit the bill. At first glance the room seemed to be nice and neat, but later found a few things on the floor (a 16 spike, as noted by my husband .. a big old nail is what I call it). But minor stuff. The room had a funky smell but fortunately we could open the window to air it out. Room came equipped with a mini fridge and microwave. Lots of channels listed on the TV guide but only a handful activated. Shower and toilet in one room and sink and counter outside. Bed was pretty comfy. Free breakfast included but they restricted you from bringing food back to your room. This was a pain as we had to take turns going down to eat so as not to leave a barking dog alone in the room. Fitness room was pitiful. Check in staff was friendly and check in/out was pleasant. Would recommend this hotel if traveling through with a pet ($15 extra). Not sure what the town had to offer as we were in and out in a hurry.

"Friendly Staff, Nice Resting Stop"

Nothing special about Richfield, UT other than it was the halfway point on my journey from Fort Collins, CO to Orange County, CA. The hotel is easy to get to from the freeway, and there's a gas station right next door. The staff here are so friendly and accommodating. As soon as I got there, they came over to greet my little parakeet and I. Pet friendliness was a huge plus. Our room was clean and cool when I arrived. I appreciated being able to walk on the treadmill in the fitness center after my 8+ hour drive. Breakfast was hot and ready for me at 6 am on the dot, and I was able to head out on my journey. Overall, I would definitely stop here again on a long road trip.

This has been one of the nicest Best Western stays that we have had. The property is clean and kudos to the helpful hotel staff. We will be happy to stay here again Mr Ishwar at the front desk was extremely helpful and accommodating. Not only was he courteous, he even offered valuable travel tips which came in very handy during out journey. He even offered us extra water bottles because it was very hot. His concern for his own staff is also highly admirable. Overall we really appreciated his attitude and service and would highly recommend him

"Richfield Best Western"

The hotel is old. The bed sheet had a cigarette burn, the towels were dingy and old, there was mold on the shower curtain and the halls were not air conditioned. Though it was freshly painted, the color scheme made me feel blah. The staff was friendly, but the building is old and does not have an elevator.

"Good place in Richfield"

Though check-in was a bit anxiety ridden, the clerk was in the lobby speaking loudly on the phone when we entered, the overall stay was pleasant. Upon departure, the clerk gave us free water since the machine was out of water. Laundry was in the hallway across from the pool which was a little odd, but convenient overall.

"Quick Stay"

My husband and I planned to stay here as a half way point on our drive from San Diego to Denver. We checked in around 10 PM but it was easy and fast and we were in our room within minutes. Room was very clean, bed was extremely comfortable, and we had a great night sleep before the second half of our drive. Check out was just as easy, and we were on our way out around 9 AM. The cleaning staff was on our floor doing the room and they were so quiet we had no idea they were even there! They offer breakfast from 6-9, but we didn't get up in time. Highly recommend!

"Don't be Late for Breakfast"

This hotel was very nice, towels were super soft, Customer Service was not what I have grown to expect from other Best Westerns. Clerk was arguing with another guest when we arrived and yelling at them when we were loading in our luggage. They remove the breakfast food exactly at 9am whether you are finished eating or not. They did get me some gravy when I asked but they were cleaning up even though the room was packed and people still eating.

"Rude staff"

I did not stay here because my car broke down en route. I was two hours away. I called ahead to let them know not to expect me, and see if I could cancel my reservation. The staff member told me there are no cancellations, then told me that he'll be going back to sleep. I understand a phone call at 10:00 PM is late, but you work at a hotel. This type of phone call should be expected and handled with professionalism. Additionally, I've seen previous reviews noting encounters with rude staff. This pattern of behavior should be corrected, either internally by the supervisors or externally by the customers- by loss of business.

"Avoid at all costs"

There aren't many options in Richfield and few that accommodate a family of 5 so we jumped at the 3 Queen bed room. Big mistake. The hotel felt dingy and somewhat creepy. The owner/operator was not at all friendly or helpful, just barked about no pets/no smoking when we asked about a sign that said "no food in rooms." The TV was on when we entered the room which freaked out my kids, there was hair in the shower and the bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a while. The sheets on the bed were grubby and pilled, unlike the smooth feel of most hotel sheets. We left super early and didn't even try the breakfast because my kids were so unnerved.

We have stayed in Richfield on numerous occasions, but never at the Best Western. This was one of the most comfortable beds we have had in a motel. The room was newly renovated and very clean. The only drawback was the pedestal sink in the bathroom which didn't allow for putting anything on it. Breakfast was very good with many choices. Although the hotel is close to the Interstate, it was quiet. Will consider staying here again.

great hosts, clean rooms, and a spectacular view. I could vacation here. We had our dogs and there was ample room to run them out back. The mountains turned purple in the twilight as the desert cooled. Great jumping off point for the southern desert. Zion and Bryce are just south and Moab and the Colorado mountains to the east.

Only 2 hotels available to us, chose Rodeway Inn, formally Western Inn. New owners & was a long time checking in, but understood that. Really good price. Bed nice & comfy-bathroom clean & carpet also, except under stands & tables=that really needs to be addressed. A very rude man step in front of me & he was helped first, didn't appreciate that at all. Breakfast was just so-so.

The Best Western Richfield Inn is a nice hotel to stay at on your journey to your next location. The rooms are modern and clean, the staff is professional and friendly and the hotel is walking distance to several restaurants. The hot tub temp is cool but the staff will adjust the temp if you ask. Good value for the stay.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel last night. The hotel was very clean, quite, neat and pleasant staff. We traveled with two small dogs and unlike many pet friendly hotels there was a nice grassy area for our dogs. The room was like any Marriott and the beds very awesome. Drove from Wisconsin to Nevada, visiting national parks along the way. This was by far our favorite hotel. New, clean, most comfortable beds and wonderfully friendly staff. Family run and the difference and care is obvious.

I have in the past been mostly satisfied with and could depend on the best western name. Not so much here. Most best westerns I have been very satisfied with. I travel through Utah from time to time and stay wherever my company books me. I have not stayed at the Best Western in Richfield in about 2 years. The place looked good before but since my last visit it has had a total makeover. The rooms look excellent and the staff is very courteous! The manager is a great guy and I will request at my company send me here as much as possible!!!

"Would not be my first choice next time"

Upon arrival, the hotel had a super strong smell of burning incense and the hotel staff had very thick accents and were not easy to understand. The room was clean and was as advertised. The staff was helpful and seemed well-intentioned. The bathtub drain was clogged, but it was fixed by the next night. The window in the room could not be opened at all, so no fresh air. The beds were comfortable and the room had a nice large flat screen. The breakfast was average and the dining area was clean. The pool has a loose drain/filter cover on the bottom which could have been very dangerous. The staff said they would have it repaired. The room towels were not very fresh and some has stains so they must have been older. The carpets were fairly new and the décor were nice. The alarm clock in the room did not work. The pillows seemed old, but I always bring my own.

Hotel appears to be new. Perhaps not more than 6 months. Breakfast average. Typical of medimum prices hotels. Needed a cork screw to open a bottle of wine. Front desk provided a loaner. Nice. Good fmily resturant within walking distance for dinner. The only thing to watch for is there is no direct drive into the hotel. You exit the street, go through a gas station to get to the hotel.

I asked the front desk person if the pool was clean and he said no. I appreciated his honesty although if you are going to advertise a pool as an amenity, it should be usable. I was part of a tour group and the hotel did provide breakfast from 5-6 a.m. for our group. It was simple fare such as cereal, toast, and donuts, but it saved us time. This was important for a 6:30 a.m. departure schedule.

We chose Best Western because of its good reviews, friendly management and pet friendly policy and let me tell you, they did not disappoint. The hotels amenities were surprisingly upscale and luxurious for Richfield, UT which was complemented nicely by their cleanliness of the room and safe area. This hotel has updated clean rooms with friendly staff. The pool area was clean and the pool was nice. This motel is just off the interstate so it is easy to get to. The breakfast is as good as a complimentary hotel breakfast gets, there was no shortages.

On the positive side, this hotel is conveniently located close to I70, and there is very little traffic noise. It is within walking distance of Frontier Village restaurant, serving good food. However, as a customer I felt I was an inconvenience intruding in their hotel. The walls are very thin. They allow pets, and when a dog was left howling in a room close to us, we could not be moved as the hotel was full (despite the parking lot being empty). I was very cold in the room and did not want the heater on all night as it was noisy. I requested a blanket from the reception desk and was told I couldn't have one as the hotel was full! In the morning, my husband went to the breakfast room at 09:00 but found it locked up. Notices were in the breakfast room informing guests not to take food out of the breakfast room to eat in their rooms. Not a friendly place.

"Just a plain old bad Hotel"

I spend four to five nights a week in hotels for work spending 95 plus percent of those days at a Best Western. This was the worst Best Western hotel that I have ever stayed in. The bed was hands down the worst quality mattress / bed I have ever stayed in at a hotel. When I checked in the desk attendant was on a personal phone call on his personal cell phone and it took approximately 45 seconds to a minute to get his attention to put the phone down, not turn it off mind you, and take care of my check in. The attendant never asked about my best rewards status and it wasn't until I put my card underneath his nose to show them I had it that he acknowledged it. I still don't know if he applied my reward status to my stay.

This is a very clean and comfortable hotel. We had a three queen bed room, which was great for our family of 5. Price was great, breakfast was good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. If I am ever in Richfield Utah, I will definitely book a room here again!

We arrived into Richfield, Utah late at night, ready to be done traveling for the day. This was not our planned stop, yet the friendly staff at the Best Western helped redeem it. I was traveling with my three teen daughters, and we were upgrated for free to a deluxe room with 3 Queen beds. Who knew such a room existed. The room was clean, comfy, and we rested well. The continental breakfast in the morning was abundant and more than sufficient to help us get back on the road again.

"Comfortable and Affordable"

Stayed here twice within 1 week. The rooms were comfortable and affordable. The breakfast offerings were varied and good. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is an easy in and out, with access to I-70. Restaurants are nearby and the heart of town is 1mile south of the hotel. If you're there to ride ATVs, the trail access is right there as well.

Terrible property... I felt I could trust the Best Western name as I have had decent experiences with them in the past. This is a dirty old motel. As soon as I entered the lobby it smelled of fish for some reason; the room smelled musty and old. Bed sheets were all pilled and worn out (very uncomfortable); top blankets were dirty and old and smelled weird nor were they thick enough and I was freezing all night. Bathroom is terrible-- stinks and barely any hot water, also the shower head felt like a pressure washer and actually hurt to take a shower. I felt so filthy staying in this room I couldn't wait to check out-- I didn't even bother to go see what was being offered for breakfast because I was so repulsed by the entire stay. Also-- hotel is EXTREMELY noisy, you can hear everything going on above and beside you and out in the hall way. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

"Worst hotel experience EVER! Be forewarned!"

We should have known this would be a trouble spot when we asked for an extra key card when we locked ours in the room and he charged us an extra $20 for a Key Card! In the morning they started to try to clean at 6:00 AM, painters were making tons of noise at 6:30. We saw an employee (turned out he was the owner) yelling and screaming at other employees for no good reason, and then he yelled at 3 and 4 year old boys for spilling milk and not eating all their Cheerios and they were children of paying guests! In-excusable! To top that he called the police when these little boys "splashed too much" in the pool! They barely got a splash. We asked for our money back since we had 4 rooms and were there for a week on business and we were barely there for 2 days when he became hostile with us. He in turn charged us for the whole stay when he was the problem. Beds were lumpy and the rooms were painted a puke green color. That should have been a clue as well. They did not make our beds, nor restock the room during our stay. When we left at 11:00 at night after long days of meetings he yelled at us for leaving and knocked the couch over in a rage. They need to change this from "Best Western" to "Worst Western!" We will never stay there again and we will avoid other best westerns in the future for our own safety. Take my advice and pay a few dollars more at the next place. Avoid this place!

This place gave an initial good impression-the lobby was nice . Once we got to the room, it went downhill. The walls were dirty, and there was no toilet paper in the bathroom! The "full" breakfast was full of food that looked several days old. The only positive was the bed was comfortable. I would not stay here again.

Great staff, the manager couldn't of been more helpful. We had a minor car problem and the staff went above and beyond in helping us find a mechanic and letting us check out late. For the dollars we spent this property was perfect! We have spent double the amount at other Best Westerns and not received the value or service we did in Richfield.

An amazing location,close to Capitol Reef NPK,and a marvelous,scenic ride to Moab,Arches NPk.,Canyonlands NPk.Just south is Zion and Bryce NPks.also.The front desk checking in ,was very professional, and all necessary information was in his computer,as we booked thru central BW reservations.Ishmar,GM of this wonderful property, was on site and on top of anything needed by his customers. The room was 2 queens ,given at a senior rate and wad comfortable,good linens,great TV, but needed an HD feed for a good picture.Cosmetics needed,and a hair dryer,we're furnished (yes there are some places that do not),and a work table for business travelers.Also enough electrical outlets to take care of charging phones tablets and lap tops.The breakfast room,very adequate,and had a wonderful variety of all breakfast foods.The lobby very comfortable, with a flatscreen,great for coffee and a check on the world news.We travel with BW gift cards,which this property was well versed on how to use (yes, some do not train their employees) and took the card on check in and we were ready to ck.out easily, after our breakfast,and a hug for Ishmar,for his great job of running a tight ship.You have a WalMart,various restaurants and downtown shopping.My husband bought a nice cowboy hat in the western wear shop.Put this stop on your bucket list.

The staff was very nice. The room was very clean. And there was not any noise. Large TV,s and ever thing that you need are in the rooms for a great low price. Close to restaurants and the highway we will stay there again. Love our stay. Nice full breakfast.l

"OK but....."

Our stay was OK. We have always liked Best Western properties but this one was not quite up to par. The room was not up to date or well maintained. The sink in the slit bath was cracked, there was severe water damage in the toilet/shower room, and the decor was severely outdated. The breakfast room had only three tables, so we ate our breakfast in the lobby on a coffee table. This was the last BW we used on a two week road trip!

Stayed here a week and found the accommodations to be a good value and the management very responsive to our needs. Unlike many hotels they actually do want to know if there are issues so that they may address them right then. We weren't checked in for more than 5 minutes when we received a call inquiring as to whether our room was OK. That level of interest in our satisfaction continued throughout our week- many times- the General Manager Ishwar Chaudhari himself would seek us out and make sure all was well. (Perhaps the rest of the staff is a maybe little bit shyer than Ishwar...:-)) The breakfast area was well-tended and offered a decent selection, parking was adequate, and despite a full hotel noise was minimal. I was told that upgrades are in store for the guest rooms over the coming months, so hope to be able to inspect those next September.

"Road Trip"

Best Western Richfield Utah. The room was large but not clean. There was a large yellow stain on the bottom sheet of one of the beds I was glad we had booked a room with two queen beds. I cleaned the tub before using it, because I saw hair in it. The towels were a dingy grey color, but then it seems the desk clerk and the man doing the laundry were the same person. Breakfast was OK but there was a note saying that while they would try to keep items replenished there was no promise that everything would be available. I can understand this, some people use the breakfast bar as a grocery store. One guest checking out was annoyed that the price she was suppose to pay was higher then the price quoted....the clerk told her it had something to do with checking in at ten oclock. She was not impressed. I think this hotel needs to learn about customer satisfaction, and cleanliness. Not a nice place.

Whenever I travel through Richfield, UT, I will stay in this place. The staff is VERY friendly and know my name. They tell me "hello" by my name as I walk in the door. They always try to get me one of the rooms that I like. They will joke with me about it. They always remember that sometimes I have to check out late, and they are fine with it. The beds are very comfortable. The rooms are clean. I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else.

After a 500 mile day, we were ready for a good rest. We stopped at two other hotels in the area, which were grossly over priced, before settling on this one. The hotel was quiet, clean and comfortable and close to restaurants. We checked in quickly. The overhead lights were out in a weird way in the breakfast area the next morning. Would we stay here again-only if the price was right. Not really much more to say.

What a disappointment! Our room was anything BUT clean and we are pretty certain that the sheets were not changed as there were several strands of hair and fuzz on the sheet we had to sleep on. If it had not been so late, we would have requested a change of sheets. Gross! There was a two inch strip of dust all along the edge of the carpet and the towels were all pushed to one side of the racks as though disturbed by the previous guest. Overheard another guest complaining to the owner with escalating voices. So other guests had complaints as well. If someone is rating this place as great, they must be related to the owner! We may never stay at a Best Western again!

Initially we made a reservation for 5 nights but we left after the first night. The person at front desk was not in compliance with Best Western standards we are acostumed to. The hotel is very old fashioned and need a lot of improvements, mainly in personnel training.

"Very Friendly Staff but Lacking in Cleanliness"

This is an older motel and on the positive side, has about the friendliest staff we have ever encountered. Our room had an amenity seldom seen in hotels—a ceiling fan. However, the room lacked cleanliness, with a gum wrapper left on the night stand, an empty water bottle on the floor and dust on the edges of the carpet. They had nice high definition TVs, but it didn't look like they had high definition on any channels as the picture was terrible with bars at the top and the bottom. The breakfast was pretty standard, except the juices appeared to be watered down. It appeared the town's largest annual event was ongoing the night we stayed at this motel, an ATV Jamboree, so no doubt the rates were much higher than normal. Don't know how much this event contributed to a lower quality experience than one would expect from a Best Western hotel. I imagine the staff would have addressed some of these problems if we complained, but we were staying only one night.

"Fill like a million"

If you happen to be going through Richfield, Utah or around there and need a room or know you will be, make your reservation with them, I promise you well not be upset, and they are pet friendly. Well what more can you ask for. None smoking and have all you could ask for plus more. Fill like a million and be treated like one too with out the expense. Bed and pillows were the best felt like new ones. They even had reading light hanging from the regular lights. first I have ever seen. For breakfast you should not go away hungry, a lot to choose from (from hot to cold).

Service was bad, room was dirty, bed spread was gross wanted to just have it changed and was informed that we could not move rooms and that wasn't what we were even asking for. ( the hotel wasn't even half full). Air did not work well and fridge did not work at all.

I fly for a major airline and have stayed in hundreds of hotels world wide. Wow, the hotel and our room was super clean quiet and upgraded! Staff was super friendly and accommodating to our every need. Lot was clean, hallways were clean, pool area, self laundry Etc., totally unexpected in such a remote area. We did not eat breakfast (still sleeping, so I can not comment) Oh, lighting and security cameras everywhere! Next time we drive to Colorado to visit daughter this will be our stop. Yes we can fly, but this country is beautiful! Thank you

"Nice Place, Nice People"

After stopping at many other motels we found that the motel had a room and we took it. The motel was neat and clean and appeared well cared for. We found the room was clean and spacious as a king room. The motel was slightly dated in design but clean and functional. We had free secured Wi-Fi, flat screen TV and cable. The desk clerk pointed us to a good parking location and helped us care our things into the room. The stay came with a breakfast that included scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy as well as the continental breakfast standards. When checking out the next day we found that motel employees were in process of refurbishing tables from some of the rooms. The people responsible for the motel were taking good care of it. We definitely would stay here again!

"Worst best western ever"

I am very disappointed with the quality of this Best Western inn. We usually book at Best Western because of their great breakfast and simple, but clean accommodations. This one, however, was a disaster. The sheets were dirty, with stains and hair all over, that gave the impression that they were never washed, instead just flipped over. The towels were very worn and the room smelled a bit. When inquiring about the dirty sheets and asking if I could get a new set, one staff member was friendly and happy to help, while the other man, most likely the one in charge, was rude and unfriendly. This inn in general had the quality of a Motel 6. Next time I will think twice before booking at a Best Western. Definitely do not recommend for anyone.

No elevator, linens felt very moist, internet use ended before check out time, lobby coffee availability difficult, breakfast was like being in a chicken coup because of it's extreme smallness and large number of participants. Couldn't sleep because of all the dogs yelping outside our room door throughout the night.

Poor customer service except taking reservation by phone. Dirty table in room and the room was very smelly. Sausage at breakfast was very overcooked, rest of breakfast acceptable. No coffee lids offered at breakfast. When asked if they had any in the room, I was told yes. The rooms had no lids either. The toilet paper in the bathroom was so thin and cheap it was a big disappointment. This was the third Best Western we stayed at during our summer vacation and we would not stay there again. Oh, small matter but the nightlight that is part of the hairdryer continually flashed all night like a strobe light.

Friendly, helpful staff. Convenient overnight stay for driving to Colorado from California or Nevada. Rooms are clean and cool with AC. Beds were comfortable. Would return again. Free Wifi and breakfast and indoor heated pool which are great amenities to have considering this location is in the middle of nowhere in Utah. It's location is great as it is almost at the midpoint between Las Vegas and Denver.

Booked a room over the phone told the person I would be there shortly and when I arrived I was told they sold the room online already and it was a mistake and was turned around. Ok so asked if they charged my card and they said no. Two days later my card is charged so I call to have it reversed and immediately was called a liar and engaged in an argument by the guy at the desk claiming I never showed up when I actually talked to him in person! All in all fine for a one night stay while traveling. I did notice a strong chemical smell when I entered the room but after having the a/c on for a bit the odor dissapated. I'm not quite sure why the table was so sticky even after I wiped it down but not a huge deal. The fridge didn't really get cold but again not a huge deal. Pretty comfortable accommodations and relatively quiet. Breakfast was above average and includes eggs, sausage, gravy and is more than sufficient to start the day. Customer service was good.

"Convenient Pet friendly Hotel"

Was driving to Colorado and stopped overnight at the Best Western Richfield Inn. It is a Pet friendly hotel with a small pet fee. The room and common areas were clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. My only complaint was the mattress not a lot of support but I only stayed one night so it was fine.

This was our first time in Richfield and it was very good. The bet was comfortable, the breakfast was good. The front desk helped me with my reward points and setting up the Wifi. As in a lot of places the shower head could use some attrition with hard water deposits.

I was traveling with my dogs they made sure I had a room on the ground floor with easy access for the dogs to go in and out. The room was clean the staff very friendly overall a great experience. I highly recommend this Best Western.

Poor attitude, lousy service, and not a clean room. looked at socks from being in room and they were black on the bottom. Cheap towels, unclean bathroom. The breakfast selection was nothing and even the coffee was lousy (warm)

Good hotel for a family stay at an affordable price. Travelling from Los Angeles to Vail on a family road trip. We stopped to fuel up in Richfield and decided to spend the night after a long day of driving. The first hotel in the area that we tried was full. The manager of that hotel suggested the Best Western. The BW staff was very friendly and able to accommodate us without any hassles or up-charges. The lobby and room were clean and very well kept. The pool area was organized and the water temp was "just right". Free breakfast in the morning with eggs, bacon, waffles, fruits, and juices made our overnight stay a great value.

Driving from WA state to CO. Stopped in Richfield, UT for gas when the transmission in our vehicle went out. We were fortunate enough to get the last pet friendly room at the Best Western Richfield Inn. The customer service provide at the hotel was superb. Not knowing when our vehicle would be repaired, we had to ask daily for an extended night. We were truly blessed to have been guided to this treasure of an inn. Management was sincerely concerned about our situation and kept a positive light shining. We highly recommend the Best Western Richfield Inn during your travels. Additionally, if you find yourself in a similar situation with car troubles, we recommend MAC Towing.... Sean, the tow truck driver, was a gem for recommending Mike (MAC) to us. Everyone we met in Richfield was very pleasant and friendly. Thank you all!

"Great customer service and very well kept "

There are many options in the town of Richfield, however I would highly suggest staying at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. There was easy assess from our car to our room which is a must with kids. The pool was indoor and well stocked with towels. The air conditioner in the room worked great which was a relief with the 100 degree heat and the breakfast had a lot of variety and was well stocked and maintained.

"Clean and comfortable"

Just along Interstate 70, we spent a night here on our way to Capitol Reef. The motel is quiet, clean and comfortable, the staff helpful. They have a swimming pool and a fitness room, with a good tapis roulant and another strange machine that does all and nothing. No breakfast, but laundry machine.

This a pretty new motel. Very clean and quite. Staff was very friendly and nice. Rooms are extremely clean ans very comfortable. The only thing that I thought a bit unusual is: For a fairly new motel there isn't an elevator. And we were on the second floor. However, I would diffidently stay here again

"Older hotel, very well maintained and clean"

Older hotel, well kept, very clean and helpful staff. They actually have a three queen bed room. The Staff called me the day of our stay to verify that we were coming. Our credit card had been stolen and so it failed to run. He could have cancelled the room but he called to verify we were coming. We were able to give a new credit card to secure the room. We arrived at 10:30 pm. He greeted us by name and had room ready. Standard continental breakfast. We had no issues. Staff was always busy working. Cleaning rooms and wiping down surfaces.

"Fair, with a few issues"

This is a modest hotel along interstate 70. The other choice is in town also chain hotels. Prices are a bit more expensive than they should be because Richfield is so isolated. I had an issue with the wall unit air conditioner. Since it did not have a thermostat I had to get up twice during the night to turn the unit on or off to keep the room temperature comfortable. Breakfast was good the following morning although the breakfast room is small and gets crowded easily.

"Avoid at all cost"

Dirty and worn motel. Sheets were stained and the room was not clean. New sheets brought up (in a ball!) were as thread bare and unclean looking as the originals. Staff seemed unfazed. Not a restful night and definitely not Best Western standard. NEVER again!

It has a good location but does not meet the standard I have come to expect from Best Western. I wouldn't want to stay there for more than one night. We appreciated the indoor pool. Parking was easily available and it was easy to get on and off the property.

Thank god they do allow pets but as far as being friendly... Not so much. $15/ per pet extra? A bit more than we are used to paying and there are absolutely ZERO amenities for pets. We have a Golden Retriever and a Black Lab so it was an extra $30 per night. Stack that up against a LaQuinta Inn that we stayed in the night before that is also "Pet Friendly" same price; but at no extra charge. I did have a problem with the staff here. I guess what got me going is when standing in line while checking in I listened to the Manager tell the man ahead of me three times in an East Indian accent, "At all times you must keep dogs attending to". Three Times! Then when I got in line he started telling me the same thing. I did not appreciate it. Sorry, I don't mean to be racist but that really irritated me after driving for 10 hrs that day. Not sure if it was a cultural thing or what but the dude sounded like dogs were just a bad thing he had to control (@ $15/per that is). The breakfast was inside a smaller room and was tight quarters, and only lasted till 9am...Nothing above average. My side of the king sized bed tilted to one side as do 80% of all motels. I was glad to be down towards the end of the hallway. It did make it easier to take the dogs out at night. But of course there were little kids running all over upstairs above us to and from the pool. This is all typical of traveling and I don't want to be too hard on this one place but after the "attending to dogs" lecture I don't want to be too easy either. Maybe that's how they talk to customers in India but this was Ridgefield Utah. Pets are family. We had them both groomed the day before our trip. I'm sure he's got some customers who are dirty and let pets pee on the floors but we're not like that. Also, I could see the staff worked hard here...the manager was cleaning rooms while not manning the lobby. They are probably on a tight budget. To be fair the place was clean but in need of some renovating. And new mattresses. A bit overpriced. This was our second stay here. And last.

This motel is right off the highway, but it was very quiet. Although Richfield is not a large city, we found good restaurants nearby, with delicious food & huge portions. Also convenient stores to pick up items we needed while traveling, and a Dairy Queen for dessert.

I stay at this hotel whenever I come to Richfield. I am treated VERY well here. The ownership and staff are very friendly and go out of their way to make sure everything is OK. They will always greet me by name, whenever they pass me or see me. The rooms are comfortable. They do a nice breakfast. They have recently re-done the carpeting, and added some new lights over the bed. It was a great addition. These new ones are quite handy. I will always stay here whenever I come to Richfield.

I loved this hotel one of the best staffs that I have had although the pool is small and kind of shallow I loved it. It is warm and fun to play in. There has been enough room to enjoy swimming. The breakfast was really really good I loved the waffles they were great I loved how everyone was nice to my kids and not telling them to stay in the room I really enjoyed my stay and look forward to doing it again soon its all my kids talked about the whole way home.

"One room smelled like urine"

This hotel was dirty. The staff was not overly helpful and actually not very nice!! My sisters room smelled like urine and when I informed the guy at the front desk he acted totally put out that I mentioned it at all!! They did shampoo the carpet but as soon as the carpet got remotely dry you could smell it again!! But they did offer to do something...they offered to take a whoppin' $10 off the $110 overpriced room a night!! This experience was eye opening for me, I had forgotten why I became particular about where I stayed and this hotel reminded me that I became particular for good reason!! I would never recommend this hotel to anyone!!!

The staff was quite rude when we were only a few minutes past the "closing" time for breakfast. We weren't getting any food, me and my daughters were just finishing breakfast when the staff VERY rudely asked us to leave. In fact, he was pretty hostile. It almost ruined our stay there, BUT the manager was extremely nice and helpful, so it made up for the rude staff. We arrived on a Friday, but I learned that I had accidentally booked our reservation for Saturday, the following day! The manager patiently told me to call hotels.com (where I made the reservation) and cancel the reservation. Then, when hotels.com told me that the hotel would charge a cancellation fee, he had them (hotel.com) call him to waive the fee. He then booked the hotel for the correct date, giving me the same rate I found at hotels.com. The next day, just prior to checking out, the manager saw me and my daughters and was very friendly to them. He was very kind to me and my family. He more than made up for the very rude staff at breakfast. I rated "Service" as average, because the worker who was rude to us at breakfast was terrible, but the manager was excellent!

We stayed here for about 12 hours on our way from LA back to Denver. Definitely not modern or fancy, but clean and had everything we needed. The hot breakfast in the morning was great....a little bit of everything there. Great location right off I-70.

I came in and asked if they had any rooms available, was told yes and was treated well by the Management and staff. The room was comfortable and the breakfast offerings were fresh and tasty. I stay here quite frequently and always have a clean room and great service! I like the new Hot Breakfast also. Very convenient to the I-70 freeway and restaurants in town. Rooms are always very quiet and they do have pet friendly rooms.

"Nice Stay "

This hotel is in a very convenient location just off 1-70. The room was clean and comfortable. Had a great ceiling fan, microwave and frig. Had a great nights sleep on the beds. Luggage dolly was available and very helpful for us. Breakfast was offered, but We did not have breakfast here. Recommend.

"Ok, for the price, but not great"

This was not the best hotel, but certainly not the worst. I asked to see the room before I paid and it looked pretty good at first. The room was big and comfy, especially for my family of four. (we have a 5 year old and a 2 year old) The price was decent too. Not the cheapest hotel, but very reasonable. The desk clerk (maybe the owner?) gave us a room on the first floor which was nice, since I don't think they had an elevator. The room was 2 doors down from the front desk, which I now believe was a very intentional decision. We unloaded our luggage through the front door and parked our car later. It wasn't until the next day that we discovered that the door down the hall that led to the back parking lot didn't lock. That is usually a red flag in my book and had I noticed that the night before, I would have moved on and not stayed here. Safety of guests should be a top priority of a hotel. In addition to the outer door lock, the door to our room seemed sticky. It didn't swing shut immediately like most hotel room doors do, which was kind of a pain. We also had trouble with it jamming when we tried to unlock it from the hallway. The last issue I had with this hotel was the towels. They were absolutely disgusting. The rest of the room seemed very clean and modern, so I was surprised that the towels were so dirty. It almost seems like the previous guest had refolded their used towels and put them back on the shelf. They were greasy and had black stains on them. Decent price, but I probably wouldn't stay here again.

"RIchfield, UT"

Cheap but you get what you paid for. Breakfast was bad - Walmart generic bread, something that resembled artificial fried eggs, and the last 2 sausage patties swimming in grease. The room was okay except the shower curtain rod was hanging from the wall and when I opened the shower curtain the bottom 2 feet was all black from mold.

"Nice Room, but we were shocked when we arrived"

We were very tired from long drive and ready to relax for next day trip. During process of check in, front desk (gentleman) offered us totally different Hotel information from our reservation what we agreed/paid on. (NO Breakfast included, No refundable, no cancellation or changes) His explanation was he got paid only $45.00, so he will NOT provide Breakfast and this reservation is non refundable/changes and asked us to sign on it. We were so stunned, we asked him why we have to sign which something we can't agreed on. We showed him our reservation sheet and explained to him that we would like to have a service that we agreed /paid. He got very upset and THREW OUR ROOM KEYS AND PAPERS and rose his voice said "GO SOME WHERE ELSE IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT!!!!!" We couldn't go another hotel since he told us that no refundable on this reservation. We tried to communicate to make him understand our point. After awhile, he calm down and he apologized his act. We travel a lot and use Best Western frequently which they were very good to us till this time. Yes, he provided us breakfast after this craziness..... It bothered us for next a couple of days in our vacation. We can't even think about any detail information about this hotel, because this experienced was very shocking to us.

This hotel is much nicer on the inside than it looks from the outside. The room was clean and comfortable, the pool was small and stuffy but was still a great place for the kids to unwind after being in the car all day. Over all, a very pleasant option.

"Good Stay"

The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. Everything (room, bed, sink, toilet and bathtub) was very clean. Employees were courteous and knowledgeagle of the area. First floor rooms are quiet enough day and night. The WiFi service is free, very easy to access and fast. The Continental Breakfast hours are the usual, practical, ones. And, breakfast counters offer a good variety of items, including fruit.The indoor swimming pool is for 15 persons and shallow (3.6 feet), but is good for entertainment.

"Convenient Stop Between Colorado and Las Vegas"

The Best Western Richfield provided a good midway stop while driving between Colorado and Las Vegas. A reasonable hotel for a reasonable price. No complaints, the hotel was quiet, room comfortable, and everything worked. The breakfast was good.

"HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE"

DO NOT WASTED YOUR TIME STAYING HERE! While the Best Western hotel chain is great, the desk clerk at this hotel, (he said his name is Vicpor)) is by far, the rudest person I have EVER encountered during the last 30+ years of traveling. I had made my reservations through the BW reservations number. No problem there. When we got to the hotel at 7:00 I proceeded to check in. He asked me if I had a dog and I said yes, it was on the reservations. This rude person, Vicpor, said no dog was listed on his computer and he wasn't going to give me a room. He then proceeded to rip,up the paper he had printed out for my checkin, in my face. When I asked him if he was kidding he said no, and told me to leave cause he wasn't giving me my room anymore. I showed him the confirmation letter I received which clearly stated I had a dog. He said "too bad, it's not on my computer and your not getting a room." He kept asking me who I talked to, but it was the 1-800 reservations number so I didn't know. I told him I was going to call customer service and report him and he said " go ahead, I don't care. You're not getting a room." To add insult to the situation, I checked my credit card tonight and this obnoxious desk clerk charged me for the room he denied me, so now I have to deal with getting that charge reversed. I filed a complaint against is hotel and management and it is being investigated. I love the BW hotel chain, but I would not recommend the Richfield hotel to my worse enemy. Vicpor was also very rude to the woman who was checking in before me. She had an elderly gentleman with her and must have either wanted a downstairs room or handicapped room, but Vicpor denied her request because it wasn't in his computer. She pulled it up on her phone and showed him, but he told her as well "it's not in my computer." The look on his face as he was waiting on her was frightening. I guess it should have been my clue worst things were to come for me. If you decided to choose this hotel and Vicpor is the desk clerk, I wish you the best of luck. This man should be fired or reprimanded but I'm guessing it's a family owned franchise and that won't happen.

My car broke down, so I had to stay in Richfield for the night. The Best Western has a very convenient location right by the I-70. The staff was very friendly during my stay. The hotel is well kept, and the room had all the amenities one could need. I would definitely stay here again if I'm ever in town again.

"Great Pool"

The hotel was pretty new. Very nice appearance. Nice people working there. They have a coin operated laundry that really came in handy. The AC worked great. Had Microwave and refrigerator. Bed was good and pillows were even better. The indoor pool was very warm and the hot tub even more so.

"Limited Eateries on a Sunday"

The establishment was fine. We found that our GPS took us out of the way,we should have just waited for the Main St exit. The room was clean and well equipped the bed was comfortable and we had a quiet night. The only problem we found was no fault of the hotel. We only found one place to eat on a Sunday and both ended up with upset stomachs the following day.

The hotel exceeds my expectations. The staff hospitality is friendly at all times. The food is great and offers a wide selection. The swimming pool was clean and so was the fitness room. It was very quite, clean and relaxing.

As long time Best Western loyal customers, we were very very disappointed in our stay at this hotel. I would NOT recommend this place to any one. This hotel was dirty, needs tons of repairs and the halls and room had a bad smell. Luckily Best Western is still our favorite choice of hotels, just NOT THIS ONE!!!!

"Travelling in Utah"

We stayed one night here while travelling to Capital Reef Nat. Park. The owner/manger was always on the phone during check-In and out. He didn't want to answer any questions or help in anyway. It was like a "getin and out" as quickly as possible. He was a very poor host and the breakfast was bad.

"Once A Year ATV Jamboree Sept"

The service we received was great !!!!!! The room was clean and all our needs were taken care of.....Fast and Efficient.. We spend 9 days in this motel each year in Sept. and book it for the following year due to everyone treating us like family....Plenty of parking !!! Looking forward to next year already

I was going way back to California from my daughter place in Salina along with my wife.we didn't even go to far from salina,we were about to reached the next city Richfield within next couple of minutes meanwhile my car's one of the tires blow up.me and my wife were so disappointed and had a fatigue.we hadn't expected someone's visit from best Western over night. He offered us to stay in his hotel and insured us that it would be better stay, great service & e.t.c.The owner of the hotel with religious symbol on his forehead welcomed me and my wife .I were so pleased with their service. I would like to recommend all of my friends to stay at best Western In Richfield because everything was an extraordinary apt and appropriate & nothing was less than my expectation. I just wanna show you people know that reasonable hotel with great continental breakfast ans wonderful accommodation. Very clean and nice room . wonderful hotel staff as specially night guy ish.
