Awesome breakfast great staff lots of pillows pet friendly only downside pool and hot tub closed, still recommend staying here.., doggy poo bags are provided outside by all doors they gave a welcome package to my dog also provided dog dishes & place Matt my dog made friends with pretty much all the staff , if you have pets this is definitely the place to stay
Excellent experience, clean comfortable room and front desk staff who were on the ball. Tour bus pulled in just as we were heading to our room. Handled by the single staff and we were surprised by the lack of noise and commotion. Definitely our best hotel experience over two weeks and multiple brands.
This has to be one of the most beautiful Best Western Hotels I've been to, when it comes to the setting and the hotel itself. I stayed in one of the pet rooms and was very impressed that it had laminate floors for easy cleanups, a welcoming Pet Bowl and placemat as well as Rags for cleanup. The room was beautiful, clean and inviting. The breakfast area was large, with different seating arrangements, great food options and lots of natural light. The staff were warm and welcoming as per usual. They even have a subtle that takes you into downtown Revelstoke. I was extremely impressed. Stay here and you won't be disappointed.
Very nice hotel. I was impressed with it for nice rooms, good service and the breakfast I had there! Would stay there again and difintely recommend it to someone looking for a very nice hotel! It's a great location and very well maintained hotel. It's one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in!
This was a quality stay, from the clean, nicely appointed room and comfortable king bed to the quality breakfast with anything one could reasonably ask for. The dining room looks out to the pools and mountains beyond. Staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed primarily for the hot tub, which was nicely lit up in the evening. Highly recommended.
Hotel was updated outside and in lobby making it look very nice, Rooms however were very dated and not well maintained. Would not recommend this hotel for any extended stay. Fortunately we were one night and out. Hotel was in a good location and shuttle service to a sister hotel in the town was helpful.
Nice staff, great location. We had a king room for a week and it was spacious and had everything we could need. Breakfast was self serve, simple but with lots of options to choose. Only negative was the coffee/ tea maker in the room, useless for tea as it does not get hot enough should have asked for a kettle
The location is not too far from Downtown and they have a free shuttle service also. The room was comfortable and clean except windows which were left many finger prints. I enjoyed outside hot tub with mountain views. All staff was polite and friendly.
Quality of the room decreased from two years ago when we last stayed; sheets were not changed upon arrival; sink and bathtub drains were clogged; breakfast was average at best; parking (especially for truck and trailer) was a constant issue; internet was good only inside the room; reception is under staffed for for most of the time. magnetic door keys had to be re-programmed every day which is a big nuisance. For the price, we will explore other options in the future.
We stayed here for a couple nights over the long weekend. All I can say is that this location lives up to the Best Western brand. The room was clean, as well as the rest of the location. Quality bedding and quiet. The only thing I would mention is that we found it strange that housekeeping doesn't "make up" the room anymore...just empty the garbage and replace towels if needed. Probably to cut down on staff costs? Anyway, we will definitely stay here again when in revelstoke. Oh, and the included breakfast was awesome.
First time staying for one night as a half way stopping point. The room was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff helpful. Easy location to find and accessible to highway. The breakfast was very good with options. Staff was attentive to keeping dishes full and re filling.
We could drive straight home to Calgary, but we always stop here. Rooms are great, pool is amazing on a hot day (we've always found loungers), and excellent service! The free shuttle into downtown is appreciated. Oh - liquor store on site is a nice touch!
Beds clean and comfortable washrooms clean floor of room had dog fur floating across it breakfast had variety and enough to satisfy a hungry traveller
Staying at the hotel was an amazing experience, from great location in town to super friendly helpful staff, clean rooms, swimming pool, hot tub and gym, the place felt like home for the night. Too bad we didn't stay longer. Recommended for anyone passing or thinking of staying in town. It was an enjoyable stay.
Overall the hotel was clean and we really enjoyed our stay. The rooms AC worked very well and the beds were comfy. Breakfast had a lot of options, one of the better complimentary breakfasts we have had. The outdoor pool was very cold, but still nice.
From our room we had great views out to the stunning mountains that surround the town of Revelstoke which sits on the majestic Columbia River Our room was spacious and comfortable and had a great bathroom It's around 25 minutes, leisurely walk, to the downtown The staff were friendly and there was a decent breakfast
I stayed for one night on way across the country. It is a really nice hotel!!! Beautiful lobby - there is a liquor store off the lobby and a denny's restaurant a short walk away and fast food a short drive away!! Room was very nice and clean and had all the great amenities and a really nice coffee maker!!! Service at the front desk was friendly. I ate at the Denny's which was great. It is a beautiful hotel and I highly recommend!!!
BW Revelstoke was right in line with all BW's I have stayed at for the past 3 years - just top notch.
There are a few nice perks in Revelstoke that we haven't encountered before. Cookies at the front desk was a nice touch. They also have a shuttle service to downtown which we took advantage of to go out for dinner. No waiting at all. Breakfast is always a perk at any Best Western. We appreciated NOT seeing a tip jar in the Revelstoke restaurant. We've been seeing that in a couple of locations lately and it should be eliminated.
great rooms and food. Front desk person was incredible and extremely professional in dealing with a very rude and intoxicated guest. Big smiles and de-escalated the situation with ease.
Breakfast unbelievable, room beautiful and so clean. Bed comfy pillows to suit any sleeper. Unfortunate odor in the 4th floor hallway of sewage noticed by all, the evening clerk stated "we are aware"
We stayed 2 nights at this hotel and staff and facilities were excellent The comfort of the beds and the great sheets were heavenly. Very clean facility and modern Great coffee/hot coffee machine in lobby Parking is great ! This seems to be a newer hotel and u can tell —very well maintained!!
Perfect stop on the way from Vancouver to Calgary. Never had as nice facilities for our dog - including a little gift package. Room well set up and comfortable. Breakfast was exceptional and staff were very helpful and friendly. PS I am a retired engineer who has travelled extensively
Loved our stay. The shuttle service to downtown Revelstoke is a nice addition. Checking in was a delight...warm, friendly, and a welcoming smile.
This hotel was wonderful! I don't know if it's new but it seems like it just due the the size of the rooms, lobby and breakfast area and the height of the ceilings. I had my two large dogs with me and they were given an amenity gift upon check-in aside from the bowls and mat in the room. The room was huge with a separate living and coffee area but they had a specialty coffee and hot chocolate machine in the lobby 24/7. Breakfast included and it was substantial with everything you could want. A special thanks to Kirsten at the front desk! She was so sweet, friendly, professional and efficient. The hotel also had a workout room, laundry, hot tubs, a pool and massage therapist. Would highly recommend this property!
I had a lovely stay . The workout room had a brand new peloton bike . It was really fun to try out . Room was clean and comfortable.
Stayed at 3 Best Western Hotels this trip, and by far this one was the best! Right from the moment I entered, you could see that they were more than just a business. The only sad part was no restaurant on site.
It is been a while since my last visit , (my flavor out door snowmobiling spot ) helping my cousin moving into his new job at the Queen Victoria Hospital , he is outdoor nut and skiing 24/7 ! checked in to BW last night for few days , very convenient 4 floors 3 stars hotel , close to highway ant the hotel not too full , it is not a high tourist seasons yet , so peaceful , welcome spacious cozy Lobby atmosphere and the front staff very friendly and helpful , complimentary early breakfast , happy my room very clean and comfortable , comfy bedding , bathroom very mordant , of course it is not you 5 stars city hotel , but very family cozy great for family stay special the winter seasons must be a zoo here , restaurant , laundry pool , gym on site , great location to downtown and very impressed with the business center very fast internet and spacious , good room rate , so if you visiting Revelstoke summer or winter , check the BW first before you make any booking ! great place for family or business stay ! I wish I can stay longer !
Very friendly receptionist, nice greeting with smile, always! Hotel rooms are clean, breakfast is very good, and servers are very friendly and there to help you if you need something. Just in one word this hotel is one of the best BW Best Western hotels I ever visited.
Great location to access downtown and ski hills. Hotel is clean and comfortable. Breakfast is freshly prepared and ahs many choices to choose from. There are laundry facilities at the hotel which made it convenient. .
Great breakfast with an awesome selection. Clean quiet hotel with very helpful and professional staff and a nice atmosphere that feels like a vacation spot. Lots of parking for larger semi's or truck skidoo trailer combos.
Celebrated our 80 birthdays last month and now our 55 anniversary. Weather was great and Revelstoke a great community. Lots of smaller shops and friendly staff in the stores. Visited the dam and railway museum a must for history buffs!
I would highly recommend the Best Western Plus in Revelstoke. The rooms are a good size, clean and well maintained and the staff provide excellent service. It felt like you were visiting with good friends. They took care of all of our needs.
Very clean rooms, super friendly staff and great views of the surrounding areas. The pool and hot tubs we a nice relaxing time after a long 6hr drive. The included breakfast had a big selection of items and was regularly re-stocked and cleaned
Nice comfy clean room. There was an issue with our safe when we checked in on a Saturday evening. There wasn't anyone available to fix it then but sorted the next day and offered us to change rooms if we wanted. We enjoyed the walk into town but there was a free shuttle option available too. Good breakfast, cooked variety changes each day. Great location just off the highway.
We had a really good one night stop over here after a very long day driving from Whistler. The hotel was a welcome sight. The check in was great and the room really nice & clean & comfortable. All in a very no frills but really comfortable & good value way. The hotel had a shuttle so we were able to visit Revelstoke town for dinner. Revelstoke was fun, we had great food & a toboggan run post breakfast. Perfect welcome break to the journey after the longest day driving, and the next day drive to Lake Louise was much shorter than anticipated also. Revelstoke was better than the original kamloops stop which we couldn't make due to the fires. If you can I'd recommend keep driving as it's worth the extra distance for the quaint town and breaking the back of a long journey.
Very nice hotel, friendly and welcoming front desk, very clean, beautifully decorated, room is spacious and clean, breakfast is very good and varied, the heated outdoor pool and hot tubs are great!!!
Great location and excellent service. Very professional staff. Nice pool with hot tub and great breakfast options. Would defiantly stay her again. Electric vehicle charging stations and Tesla charging stations as well.
Nice clean hotel. Fairly new. The breakfast had a variety of hot and cold foods. The staff were all very friendly. While checking in Norma was very pleasant and helpful. I would stay again the next time in Revelstoke.
This is a welcoming well run hotel. We have stayed a couple of times and it is always a good experience. Revelstoke is a really nice town with lots to do and many great restaurants. The hotel runs a shuttle into the centre which is much appreciated after a day on the road.
We stay at the Best Western in Revelstoke every summer to break-up our drive to the coast and it's consistently clean, well organized with a great complimentary breakfast and a beautiful outdoor pool.
We stayed one night aug4 The hotel was nice they provided breakfast in the morning my husband said it was so so. The room was spacious only problem I had was the bed was so high I had a great deal of trouble getting into it. The pillows were flat and lumpy not comfortable. Check out was smooth and easy there was free parking.
An excellent stay at Revelstoke Best Western Plus. The outdoor pool and two hot tubs were awesome! Staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was full of great options. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Would stay again in a heartbeat!
The rooms were lovely and the staff was so so kinda! The only problem we had was when we finally got a chance to go into the pool it was freezing, and there were a group of about 10-15 with open liquor and took up one full hot tub.
A very clean hotel with excellent amenities including gym, pool and hot tub. The breakfast selection and quality was exceptional. The guy on the front desk was very welcoming and helpful. The shuttle bus was a bonus too!
Great hotel. It is fairly new and very clean, nicely decorated and good location. Free breakfast is quite good and was staffed by several people who ensured the buffet was well stocked and tables were cleaned. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommend.
Fantastic place extremely clean and helpful staff.Rooms were a great size clean and beds were very comfortable Would stay again at this hotel! The breakfast was plentiful with lots of choices It was also nice to have free laundry at the hotel
We highly recommend the Best Western Plus. We stayed 2 nights but not consecutively. All of the staff provided excellent customer service. We had some trouble with our first room and were immediately assigned a new room, which was perfect. My girls enjoyed the outdoor pool and hot tubs and you can't beat the mountain view. The shower is very nice as are the provided toiletries. There is a free shuttle service to downtown, which we did not take advantage off and an attached liquor store, which I did take advantage off. Breakfast is a highlight, with a wonderful mix of hot and cold items. Try the make your own waffles, they are excellent, especially with the toppings they provide. Coincidentally, on our 2nd stay, we were assigned the same room we had the troubles with our first stay. There was a distinct odour from the previous guest of a well-known BC product and it was completely clean and fresh on our return stay. Clean, quiet, easy to find, lots of amenities including air conditioning (which was necessary but a little noisy and my only minor complaint) and great customer service. Revelstoke can be pricey but the Best Western Plus is very good value for your money.
I work and stay in hotels often and I always look forward to coming to the Revelstoke Best Western. The hotel has friendly staff, a great breakfast spread and always clean. It's quite convenient that there is a free shuttle service to town and a cold beer and wine store right in the lobby.
We came to Revelstoke to ski, and this hotel was perfect. The rooms were nice and spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. The hot tubs, spa, and laundry were great amenities to have after a long day of skiing, and the upscale liquor/convenience store inside the hotel was helpful too. The free breakfast was great to have before a ski day. We were a bit worried about the hotel's distance from the shops, bars, and restaurants downtown, but this turned out to not be a problem at all. There is a free, on demand shuttle offered by the hotel which goes to/from the Regent in the center of town. The hotel also has its own stop for the Revelstoke Mountain Resort-operated shuttle bus, which has frequent service to downtown and the ski area, even at night (the resort shuttle usually costs $4 each way, but the hotel generously gives free vouchers at the front desk). It's about 5 minutes to downtown, and 10-15 minutes to the ski resort. I also highly recommend the using the resort shuttle to get to/from the mountain, since the ski resort's parking lot can get busy. All in all, this hotel is a great home base for a ski trip, and offers exceptional value for money. The staff were excellent and went out of their way to be helpful, especially Zubin at the front desk. I look forward to staying here for my next trip to Revelstoke!
We were stranded on the highway due to avalanches and road blocks. Our room was a King Suite - we splurged for Christmas since we were not with family as planned. We did not use the shower as it was mildewed and our toilet backed up. The staff brought us a plunger to deal with the toilet. We were called 10 minutes before check out to ask if we were staying or checking out. There was no reduction on the room rate for our trouble. There could have been a late check out offered due to the circumstances. The only redeeming feature was a wonderful breakfast room hostess who should be commended for her hospitality and caring about our circumstances.
We stayed overnight on our drive through the mountains from Alberta to the west coast - the cost of our room was surprisingly reasonable (we had looked at this hotel on previous trips and it was out of our price range). Our room was excellent and the breakfast was too.
The hotel was nicely decorated, had ample parking, nice staff, great room, great tv channel selection, pet friendly, laundry, jacuzzi, hot breakfast, gluten free options and a business Center. Shuttle to restraints in town. Great place. Will stay again.
Nice and modern, wonderful staff and truly one of the best breakfasts of any Best Western we've stayed at. Rooms are spacious, clean and modern. Great location adjacent to Highway 1 and minutes to downtown Revelstoke. Lots to do especially if you loved the outdoors. Couldn't find a better place to stay if you tried.
I stayed with my 2 dogs…staff was super accommodating by giving me a room with easy access outside, the room was clean and super comfortable, and the hotel so nice and quiet that my dogs never barked once. Breakfast very good with lots of options and attentive staff.
Stayed here for one night last month and it was the best of all the hotels we stayed in on our 3 week tour of the Canadian Rockies. Really appreciated the guest laundry and the chance to easily get our washing done. I think it was Norma who was on the front desk who welcomed us and who gave us a great tip about visiting the Kangaroo Farm in Kelowna where we were headed next. Great friendly service. Complimentary breakfast was also the best one in the different chain hotels we stayed in.
We never had a reservation but wanted to stay here again. The front desk clerk was amazing and found us a room right away. The rooms were clean, and the beds are amazing, I love the bed they have at this hotel and a lot of other best western hotels. Breakfast is including with your room night and is really good if you are looking for a quick breakfast as it sure starts your day off on the right foot.
Last year we stayed just as an overnight stop, the whole family loved it so we decided to go back for 3 nights during this trip out west. Breakfast is great. Rooms are clean. Beds could be a little more comfortable. Pool and hot tubs are clean. Overall would definitely recommend and will be back again some day.
I enjoyed the amenities and services that the hotel had to offer. I was also impressed by the service of the friendly and helpful staff. The location was great and close to most other services. I would highly recommend this hotel to others.
A friend and I met in Revelstoke to do a couple days of hot spring touring and booked at Best Western Plus to accommodate this. WE were blown away by every aspect of the facility - pet friendly (including dog bowls!), liquor store on site, fantastic pool, hot tub and fitness center - even guest laundry! After waking up refreshed from a quiet sleep we enjoyed an incredible breakfast at the expansive buffet and then enjoyed the pool area so much that we cancelled plans to visit Canyon Hotsprings in favor of the hot tubs, cold pool and lounging deck and chairs at the hotel! Fantastic experience - will definitely recommend and return!
our stay was perfect from first greeting to our good bye. stayed for 4 days and staff was great. one lady in particular (ange) was so accommodating and friendly! can't wait to return. our room had great views, and complimentary breakfast was perfect every morning. walking distance to water front trail as well. pool and hot tub was a great way to end the day.
Very nice hotel, very handy that its directly off the highway! We stayed here for 10 days in the middle of the summer and never had an issue with anything. Angela at the front desk makes this location shine!
Lots of things to be improved: cleanliness of common areas, food variety room supplies and courtains that actually close; not a bad hotel but definitely not worth the money; we could have booked similar amenities for half the price. Not overall dissapointed but would consider alternatives for the next trip.
The hotel and especially the young man at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. He even came up to our room to help my Grandson hook up his X Box! Enjoyed an evening swim in the warm pool and hot tub. Breakfast was good with a variety for all tastes and needs. My Grandson enjoyed making his own waffle with the waffle iron provided, butter, strawberries, whip cream and maple syrup! Delicious!
This is one of the best hotels in Western Canada. The property is well maintained and the beds provide high quality sleep. The breakfast provided was excellent with a lot of options from which to choose.
Worked great for our family of 6. Front desk receptionist was very accommodating. When we entered the room it was obvious someone had smoked in it. The receptionist was very apologetic and found air fresheners for us. He assured us he would speak to management and get us a discount on the room. When we checked out the following morning front desk did discount our room which we very much appreciated! The art work in the main bedroom was stunning ! Overall good experience
Overall good hotel. A bit pricey, but it's Revy! The breakfast is good, better than most hotels. Pool and hot tub are nice. Rooms are always clean. Sound level in rooms can be a bit loud if you have people above.
My wife, our 2 dogs, and I stayed at Best Western Plus Revelstoke on June 23rd, 2022. We stayed one night here because it was a midway point of our drive from Calgary to Vancouver. We actually stumbled upon this location the week before while driving east from Vancouver to Calgary during one of our Tesla Supercharger stops to charge our Model Y. The room we stayed in was a pet-friendly room on the first floor. It was extremely convenient for us to take our dogs outside to do their business since there were doors that led outside pretty close to our room. And then right outside, the hotel even provided complimentary poop bags to pick up after our dogs after they do their business. The room itself was very clean and modern. It definitely was a more recently built hotel and it shows. The complimentary breakfast that this hotel offered was actually one of best ones we had throughout our entire trip! Even though the parking lot of this hotel had Tesla Superchargers available, we opted to use the Level 2 EV charger to charge our vehicle overnight while we slept (Since it was free versus needing to pay for supercharging). Overall, we had a very positive experience at this hotel and would stay here again should we do a drive from Vancouver to Calgary again.
Stayed here for a night when travelling between Banff and Vancouver. . Check in staff attitude was poor but room good size, clean and well equipped . A good way out of town but free shuttle to partner hotel in town. Runs on demand and driver was really helpful . Pool was good . Enjoyable breakfast with great staff who make sure the buffet is well replenished and tables cleared quickly . All in all apart from front desk staff a good hotel .
This is definitely not your typical mid-level Best Western. The common areas look brand new and are spacious. Our king room was updated, clean and comfortable, and a good size. There is a fridge and microwave in the room. The hotel is located just off of the highway but there is no road noise. It's a short drive or a 30 minute easy walk to the downtown area. Hot and cold buffet breakfast is included. There is lots of available surface parking. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in the area.
The Best Western Hotel in Revelstoke was a perfect choice for our two day adventure. The hotel presents very well, staff very friendly, rooms clean and bright. We enjoyed the continental breakfast offered each morning - good selection of hot and cold food items. This hotel also provided a J1772 charger for our EV, as well as 4 or 5 Tesla superchargers. Convenient overnight charging at no extra fee.
We were just driving thru and choose this location for convenience. The beds were comfortable and the fact that you can get a quality breakfast at the same location is great for getting back on the road quickly. The staff was very pleasant.
We were totally dissatisfied. Would not stay there again. If we hadn't stayed at other BW in other areas of the world, we would of not gone to anymore. Fortunately we know that there are some very nice ones out there.
Enjoyed our 2 night stay at this hotel, it's quiet, very clean and comfortable, welcoming, friendly helpful staff, pet friendly, lovely breakfast buffet with lots of variety. Highly recommend this place for business or pleasure.
Had a great two night stay in Revelstoke for my son's birthday. snow was great on the Mountain. Breakfast was perfect for me and two teenage boys and probably saved us money on the hill. Hot tub and all amenities were clean. I spent 45 mins in the fitness Centre stretching and found everything i needed there.
We had a pet friendly room that was actually human friendly as well. Very clean and comfortable with a hot breakfast to start the day. Easy access to the outside for our pet as well as a gift for our puppy.
An excellent overnight stop on a road trip. Friendly and efficient staff, room a good size, clean and comfortable. Only minor issue was all 4 bed pillows were same size and density ( large, thick, hard). Bit thick for our preference.
Great pet friendly hotel, super free breakfast! Staff not very familiar with local hiking trails, we were looking for information and trail maps. Quiet with friendly staff. Would definitely recommend, not far from downtown Revelstoke.
The hotel was great, the night clerk was very helpful. Helped me to enroll to the Best Western program. He tried to get my old membership back, the computer wouldn't let him retrieve it, so he started a new one wit a different name.
This hotel went above and beyond for pets. They're friendly staff give a pet package of treats, dog tag, poop bags. The room had food and water dishes on a mat. 10/10 would recommend this hotel to everyone with a pet! Best pet friendly hotel I've ever stayed at!
needs some gluten free items on the menu. There was no bread, no waffles. 99% of the food your serve has gluten in it. the only one is the eggs that are gluten free, and the fruit. In also lactose intolerant so i cant have any yogurt
Stayed at Revelstoke Best Western Plus. This is a hotel that sets a high standard and meets it well. From. check in, first appearance, breakfast area with cutlery and porcelain plates. A wonderful hot tub (2) heated to 104F. Good tv programming. Very comfortable beds. Lastly soundproof building. You don't hear anything from your room.
We stayed one night Aug 24 ,2021 they chsrged us $300.00 for a double bed room we found that they had not cleaned the ice bucket still plastic and water in it, they in the morning we found food in the fridge. We advised the desk clerk and was told thanks for the info. With the covid I hope we don't catch anything
Stayed for 1 night. Front staff very helpful and friendly. Need a freezer for the night and he made it happen. Traveled with a pet and the hotel is in a location that makes walking the dog easy, even provide a treat for the dog. Beds are very comfortable and room quiet. Good hot breakfast. Recommend staying at this hotel.
Stayed here on four different occasions during the Summer of 2021, and it's consistently met all of my expectations. Rooms are spacious, well kept, beds are comfortable, pool is quiet during the day and best of all, they have a waffle maker. The staff are all kind, caring and pleasant, and I greatly enjoy making fun of all of the people charging the Teslas at the on-site charging stations (kidding.) On site liquor store and a shuttle to downtown (it's about a 20 minute walk, which I don't mind.
The Best Western Plus in Revelsoke is a decent hotel and in a nice quiet part of town. We were travelling with our dog and needed a rest during a long drive. If you have a pet, this is a great place to stay. There is a back entrance from the parking lot, doggie bags by the entry, a bowl or two plus mat in the room and hardwood floors for cleanliness. There were just two complaints we had, one was about the pillows. Very hard pillows and some were very lumpy. A big deal when the price point is over 250/night. Pet fee is 25.00 which is fair. Housekeeping oversight on the toilet paper. There wasnt any, besides the half roll. A couple of small items were not picked up from lrevious guests in bathroom (under sink area). Staff was very nice, but during Covid there is a huge shortage and it shows. That is not the hotels fault, but the price needs to be lower until a higher star experience can be provided. Excellent breakfast, which was complimentary.
We seen BW name pulled in For night on our trip home from Vancouver and booked room. Omg it was just shy of $300 for a simple room. Week earlier we stayed at different hotel same town basically same room for $119!!! Best Western is price gouging their customers. Not worth that price. Found hairs all over in bathroom. Breakfast wasn't that good.
This hotel is clean, well kept, and looks great. The staff are friendly and courteous. Breakfast was hot and plentiful. Free laundry was a plus for us as we are on an extended road trip. We would highly recommend this hotel.
We had a great stay, great sleep, even got the laundry done in the middle of our camping/hotel holiday. Maria and Adil at the front desk were so helpful and friendly, answering our questions and storing our bikes. Thanks Maria and Adil!
Expected quality from Best Western Plus. Good stay as usual and never disappointing. Convenient location to town. Always good breakfast! The preferred hotel for Vancouver Subaru Club for all of our out of town events.
So disappointed with this BW. My family has been to 3 BW hotels this week and all of them are good especially the Abbotsford one, unfortunately this BW Revelstoke did not deliver. As soon as we opened the room we can smell dog. We know it's animal friendly, but cleaning the room after every guest is expected, especially with covid. Examining the floor, we found a lot of dog hair, obviously the floor hasn't been cleaned. Still here right now, bed sheets look clean, I hope they are. Also, ‘don't know how big of a person is on the 2nd floor, we can feel and hear every step they make,
Great stay in Revelstoke. We last stayed here when the hotel just opened quite a number of years ago. It is still very well maintained. Friendly helpful service . Great breakfast options for a hotel breakfast. Very happy with the free laundry set-up. Hand sanitizer is everywhere. Great that they have someone serve the hot food at breakfast. Great well-ventilated gym area. Even cookie treats at the front desk:) Really enjoyed our stay.
This hotel has very friendly staff, is conveniently located and includes a great hot breakfast. The king rooms are very spacious. We rented the bikes on several occasions to bike down to restaurants in the downtown Revelstoke - fun way to go!
This hotel has an attractive, spacious reception area with lots of seating to relax and read. Also, it convieniently located next to a cold wine and beer store. The pool and two hot tubs are the highlight with very nice outdoor seating. The breakfast is delicious and the seating area is spacious. There is outdoor seating too.
Checking into the Best Western plus in Revelstoke was a perfect start to our trip. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We were able to bring our dog (pet friendly hotels are the BEST!) so she could enjoy Mount Revelstoke National Park too. Which is just minutes away from this hotel. The breakfasts are phenomenal. Had options to choose from each morning for hot food and tons of other choices too. The hotel in situated not downtown so it is nice and quiet but close enough you can just walk to the town centre. Paige at breakfast, the guy working the evenings and Angela were just a few of the amazing staff we came across throughout our visit. This hotel has mountain views no matter which way you are facing. Huge bonus. Thanks so much for everything. We will definitely be back :)
Our family stayed at the Revelstoke Best Western in July of 2021// from the time we walked in the front doors the staff welcomed us..Staff was great, breakfast was excellent, included fried or scrambled depending on the day, saugage or ham depending on the day, potatoes, lots of jiuces, coffee, ertc.. The pool was great and very refreshing as the weather was HOT... Highly recommend this hotel..
The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable! Room was clean and cozy! The outdoor pool amd got tub was the awesome, with a great view of Mt.Begbie!! Highly recommend this hotel! Revelstoke is a beautiful town, the Best Western made our trip, that much better!!!
Had a great experience at this hotel. The free breakfast was great - much better than others we have recently tried, especially with covid precautions. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful - all seemed to go out of their way to ensure we were enjoying our stay. The only item I would have liked is black out curtains in our room - I would ask for a West facing room because of this. However, based on the price compared to other more luxurious hotels, we were pleasantly surprised at the hotel room, service and free breakfast. Outdoor pool was also nice with roomy hot tubs.
From the check in and check out everything is excellent. Hotel at all is clean, rooms are very well equipped. Personnel is very friendly and helpful. Location is the best in town. Price is very good specially in Covid time.
Hot tub always amazing, hours are good, tubs always clean, always have lots of towels stocked Breakfast included in the price which is great, and lots of variety both hot and cold Beds are always comfortable and rooms stocked and clean Ski shuttle picks you up right out the front door
This is a great hotel. Pet friendly rooms were very nice with great amenities, and truly great value. We loved the breakfast and the hot tubs. Would recommend to everyone and will definitely visit again!
Best hotel with hot breakfast. The rooms were comfortable and restaurants were close by. Easy access to everything. The hotel has washer and dryers. Even during COVID-19 everything was very good. I always try to stay at a Best Western because they are the best.
Came to Revelstoke to pick up my son. The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly. I did slip and fall in the parking lot on some black ice. I ripped my pants and had a bleeding knee. It was Feb and winter so I did not report
From start to finish - our short stay was just what the Dr. ordered. Great staff made us feel welcome from the get go right up to when we left. Great room, comfortable beds and very reliable breakfast. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting value for the money. You can't beat this hotel!!
The man who helped us find a room was very helpful and funny. The woman who was working the front desk in the am was not friendly. The hot tub was awesome besides us having to take the foam out or the tub to use it. Clean. Great price.
I will never stay at a Best Western again I rather sleep in my vehicle. The service was poor every one seem not to know how to do their job the only redeeming part was the room was extremely clean and tidy
I've stayed here numerous times. Lots of parking. Very comfortable rooms. Great staff. Large outdoor pool and hot tub. They've modified the breakfast from a buffet to order from an attendant. All good given covid. Will be back.
We initially booked the Reagent Hotel in Downtown Revelstoke and were transferred to this hotel. After a lot of confusion and multiple phone calls we ended up here. The service here was very good and the breakfast was also good. The rooms and hotel were very clean. I was pleased with the understanding on the managers part about our transfer situation. Thank you. I would recommend this hotel .
We stayed two nights and were satisfied with our room. The room was very quiet, roomy and quite comfortable. Covid precautions were in place and guests were asked to wear masks while indoors. For some reason, the policy did not apply to the front desk staff. Photos of plated (included) breakfasts are included with this review. Toast and boiled eggs were also available, in addition to this. We appreciated that the breakfast was available until 10 am as we were vacationing. For some reason, juices and yoghurt were "serve yourself." This seemed odd as both involved high touch areas (buttons and handles). Free parking was ample. WiFi was very good.
We stayed here cause there were nowhere to stay in the area. Masks were highly recommended during the time we stayed. Breakfast was ok with very few options, but we still very appreciative as we know it is hard for all business to operate. We didn't go into the pools cause we were unsure how much the pools were cleaned. Front desk customer service was ok. However, we do think they did their best helping every customer as much as they could. There was 0 phone customer service. When we needed help, the call just lead us to voicemail and no one followed up with us. We had to go downstairs to ask questions. One of the lamps did not work in our room, so the room ended up being darker than usual. No hot water boiler in the room to make anything. One big reason we gave 4 stars, room is clean and this is very important to us.
Stayed two nights and thought the BW revelstoke was a really nice updated hotel. Both front desk and breakfast attendant were very helpful and hard working. The served breakfast (not buffet due to covid) was fast and convenient. Rooms are really spacious and clean. Rented the hotel bikes for the day and enjoyed the various baike paths around town. Overall very satisfied with the service and quality of our experience.
Back at the hotel again after 2 years. Continues to be a great hotel in Revy. Spacious rooms, good breakfast — they serve it to you in the breakfast room now with Covid. Food was good —better than some we have had. Pools were open with restrictions on number of people in them.
Clean, new-ish hotel, but the person at the front desk was very rude and condescending, telling me that we were giving him a hard time by asking for an AMA discount, cancelling the Expedia reservation and re-booking direct from the hotel to apply the AMA rate. He even said that he shouldn't blame me if Expedia charges me, rather than explaining the Expedia policy in this situation. Adding insult to this situation, I walked into our bathroom and found the plastic cover for a razor in the toilet.
I was very unhappy with the room we stayed in. We have a small non-shedding dog who alerted me to food under the skirt of my bed when i heard him chewing something. When I lifted the skirt there was the remnants of a meal on the floor. I then discovered short black hairs on the sheets. As it was nearly 11 pm and my kids were already in bed I didn't request to be moved, but I asked for a broom to clean up the mess. While sweeping i also found a baby's croc under the bed skirt. We had the free hot breakfast in the morning and the sausages were cooked till they were leather - could barely cut into them with a knife. I promised my girls they could swim before we left. There were two hot tubs and a pool. I got into the small hot tub because it was empty. The water was not even as hot as a bath - but the jets worked! I got into the large tub- which was warmer but the jets didn't work. I asked to speak to a manager before we left but they weren't available and i was told I would get a call. 48 hours later I am still waiting.
Excellent hotel, friendly staff. The beds were super comfy. The surprise was the fantastic hot plated breakfast in the morning. I was leery about even staying in a hotel at this time, but was very comfortable the whole time.
At check in we were given a room that had not been cleaned. The elevator and common area were filthy. The rate was twice what we had paid for a Best Western in another town 3 nights earlier. This hotel was immaculate and the staff was excellent. At the Revelstoke BW we were not offered either a seniors or motor club discount. The attitude was, take it or leave it. From now on we will leave it
They have a great breakfast. And the staff accommodated my family of 5. I paid additionally for the cot. All staff was friendly. My overall experience was great. Usually we stay at Hilton or marriot but I was surprised I liked this hotel. The pool is outside but my kids enjoyed it.
We stayed here two nights while exploring Revelstoke. The hotel is quite new and well situated, less than 5 minutes from the TransCanada Highway. It has a large parking lot and a liquor/mini-convenience store attached. The lobby is large and well maintained. The hotel staff were excellent, with both CIndy and Adil providing professional, friendly service. Our room was large and well appointed, with fridge and microwave. The room was quiet and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was a fixed menu and served to us directly in the breakfast room. Overall, this hotel should have been a 5 star, but lack of staff knocked one off. Because of a guest noise issue, not the fault of the hotel, I tried contacting the front desk multiple times. The calls most of the time were unanswered, with them going into a full voicemail book. I made a number of trips to the front desk to resolve this issue, and found the front desk staff overwhelmed. The noise issues were eventually resolved, but there quite frankly is not enough staff on duty for the number of guests. I would imagine burnout is a real problem. I would stay here again, but I sincerely hope that hotel management takes the staffing issue to heart and fixes it.
Nice newer hotel, but the staff didn't practice social distancing. Kitchen staff were not wearing masks preparing food and the staff that brought the food out were not wearing masks. Nice rooms and clean.
Excellent hotel with good customer service. The layout, lobby and facilities are very good. The staff are knowledgeable of the local area and helpful with any requests. I have stayed in all seasons for work and vacation and am always satisfied. Recommended.
The Best Western Plus in Revelstoke BC is a welcome oasis along the TransCanada Highway between Calgary and Vancouver. The hotel is spotlessly clean, rooms are very well appointed and the staff are excellent.
Fantastic Hotel in the mountains, very clean and decorated nicely, will definitely being staying there in the future. Although the Country in on Quarantine lock down, it was very nice to see the safety measures in place in Revelstoke
We purchased a room with a king bed on one of the discount booking apps. The room was huge with a sitting area and coffee tables. Everything was sparkling clean. There was a nice dresser with large deep drawers for our clothing! There was plenty of space for our gear and for us to still be comfortable just hanging out in the room. And plenty of electric/charging outlets on both sides of the bed for CPAP machines, phones, laptops, etc. The guest laundry was great to have with large, modern machines. It was also handy to be able to use the ski area shuttle bus with the free passes issued at the front desk. My only issue is that the fridge did not have a freezer. We travel with re-freezable ice packs in our cooler to avoid the messiness of ice cubes. Fortunately it was winter so we buried the ice packs in a snow bank outside but one night they did not freeze. Breakfast was complete with various eggs, potatoes, sausage or bacon, deli meats and cheeses, fruit and bread items. Their gluten-free bread was very good! And there was a waffle maker which I used to make my own gluten and sugar-free waffles from the batter mix I bring. Service was great at the front desk and breakfast area. We love coming to ski at Revelstoke and now we have found a great place to stay!
We booked this hotel last minute following a bad experience with the neighbouring Monashee Lodge. It was more expensive but worth every penny. Free shuttle to town, fabulous breakfast, great staff and lovely room. Wouldn't hesitate staying here again.
Four of us were only 2 hours from home and decided to stay overnight in Revelstoke. We were all treated like royalty from the front desk to the staff at the breakfast in the morning. We are in our 80's and have done our share of travelling over the years.. This Motel is amazing in every way.
Nice sized rooms that are clean and quite Breakfast in morning is good Two large sized hot tubs are really awesome The washer and dryer for guests was also nice for drying our sledding gear The shuttle to drop you around town is a great plus
Excellent Hotel and Service. First class breakfast. This is the 7th time in 8 years that i have stayed at this Hotel. I brought friends this year and they loved the experience. Best value for $ in Revelstoke
Very highly recommended, beautiful decor, fabulous breakfast, friendly and kind staff, just looking forward to coming back for skiing - great skiing. Some guests much enjoy outdoor jacuzzi. Easy transportation right from the hotel to the gondola for skiing or to the town centre. Beautiful town, too , and great restaurants, many of them. Great experience overall.
The hotel property is very nice - lovely lobby, ample fresh breakfast, liquor store (!), and great hot tubs. Spacious rooms. Everything sparkling. But what really makes this place are the people. The hospitality is unparalleled. Angela at the front desk had never-ending patience when working to extend our stay when we got snowed in. The Italian-speaking housekeeping staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. The breakfast staff who kept the food coming and the tables clean. THANK YOU! We will be back.
Best hotel in Revelstoke. Amazing location. Clean rooms. The buffet breakfast is complimentary and it's amazing! They have multiple hot tubs which are so nice. I couldn't recommend this property enough.
This is about our 7th stay at this hotel. We always stay here when travelling to and from the Okanagan. Staff are very friendly and efficient. Room and common areas very clean. Bed was comfortable. And the homemade cookies at checkin are a nice touch.
Nice new warm friendly completely great hotel. Everything I needed was there. Parking was great, the lobby was nice and inviting, the staff were awesome. The room was great and I have no idea what else to say. I loved it.
Very clean, spacious rooms, excellent hot tub and a full, quality breakfast. Great for couples and families. They even have a shuttle to downtown restaurants so you can enjoy that extra glass of wine with a delicious meal.
The hotel is located just off Hwy 1 and is near food and gas stations. The hotel has a very nice exterior and lobby. The front desk was extremely nice and had us checked in quickly. The rooms are spacious and clean. Comfortable beds and very quiet. The breakfast was a full hot breakfast with waffles, pan fries, bacon and eggs. Check out was quick and friendly. Would stay here again.
Staff was friendly, great breakfast, clean, great outdoor pool and spa with a nice view of the mountains. It was a positive experience from the beginning to the end. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!
We chose to stay a night in Revelstoke, instead of Salmon Arm for a change. We were very pleased with the hotel. The entrance and foyer were very clean, the whole hotel seemed to run very efficiently. Our room was modern - and everything worked. There was an outside swimming pool, and hot tub. One hot tub was closed, but that wasn't too much of an inconvenience. Staff met the standard while not being exceptional - where is though?!
Our stay was extended because of snow in Alberta and the Prairies. If you had be be trapped, this is the place. Hotel was lovely. Room was great with king bed and sitting area. Decor had the mountains in mind. Revelstoke Golf Course nearby is s gem. Hotel staff were helpful and engaged. Made great dinner suggestions that we appreciated. Breakfast choices were incredible .
been at this hotel many times, breakfast is great, many selections to choose from. The staff is great, very Courteous and Accommodating. I either go for a walk or work out at the fitness center at night. the walks around the hotel are beautiful. The fitness center is good
Great hotel. Very clean. Nice spacious rooms. Excellent breakfast included. Nice hotel staff. Easy to get to location in Revelstoke and close to other amenities. Would stay here again and probably will.
The service was excellent and the staff was very helpful and friendly. We had a few questions about restaurants in the area and the gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and personable. Also the rooms were excellent (clean and comfortable).
Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. Service was excellent. Hotel was new and very clean and comfortable. Check in/ check out was fat and efficient. Location off the highway was great as it was a quiet location but easily accessible.
This is a fairly new hotel. It is very clean and the staff was welcoming and efficient. I ask for a quiet room and that is exactly what we got. The room was spacious and very clean and quiet. The morning breakfast was very good and had everything that you could ask for. The breakfast staff were very friendly as well. We would certainly recommend this hotel to friends and family.
Beautiful hotel, comfortable beds, great breakfast, and stunning view to wake up too! The amenities are first class, we especially enjoyed the outdoor pool and hot tubs. We were offered a free shuttle bus to take downtown for dinner and sightseeing. There were other restaurants within a few minute walk and a liquor store off the lobby to purchase drinks to have in your room. Very impressed with my overnight stay.
Returning from the Island (Vancouver Is) I plan a stop every time on my way to central Alberta. In this case I initially planned on Salmon Arm however all booked so I continued (with a confirmation call) to Revelstoke where the facility is nothing short of first class, outstanding service and arguably one of the best breakfast provided with the room . . . really. Having stayed at a lot of BW (I'm a platinum patron) this hotel is on the top of their game. I'm talking Sedona to Peace River this hotel is an exemplar. The folks are pro's and the rooms first class. Will return again.
Very nice hotel, the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was large very comfortable and very clean, we had a great nights sleep. Breakfast was good, lots of choice and nice big room to eat in. It's not right in town but there is a free shuttle bus from the hotel that runs after 5.30 pm to take you in. Denny's next door as well.
Hotel is welcoming and makes you feel like home. Easy to find ample parking. Very large rooms and great beds. Great selections and taste at hot breakfast as advertised. Real shame we were only passing through. We will bring our grandchildren next time for a longer stay.
This was our third stay here and we have always loved it. We always bring our 2 small dogs and the first 2 times we had the dog friendly rooms, with no carpet on the main floor. This time we were on the second floor and in a carpeted room. The carpet was disgusting and stained. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast is good.
We stayed at the Best Western in Revelstoke for 3 nights. We liked everything about the hotel: The room was very large with a great view, the bed was extremely comfortable, everything worked perfectly; the free shuttle back and forth between the hotel and the downtown area of Revelstoke was a nice asset. However, what most press this was the quality of the staff, in particular, a woman named Angela at the front desk. We had a rather complicated reservation situation, and she resolved it smoothly, professionally, and with a very pleasant smile on her face. She also showed us the best rate for which we qualified, and we took advantage of that, too. We thank you, Angela! You made our stay in an already nice hotel simply wonderful.
Travelling with a small dog, this was a perfect place to stay. Very clean and accommodating with pet food/water bowls and small towels provided as well as a complimentary pet gift upon check-in. Non-carpeted floors in the room made for a clean stay. Excellent complimentary breakfast provided. Quiet and clean! Would definitely stay here again!
This hotel is very good. I come with my family every time we come to Revelstoke and it never disappoints. The breakfast is great, the hot pool and swimming pool is great. Parking is great. Staff is friendly. Overall very satisfied and happy with this hotel.
It is a new and modern hotel close to TransCanada Highway. It has empty parking spaces. Rooms are standard but as said, everything is new. The breakfast was standard fair but of a good quality in pleasant setting. There is a small, out-door pool and a hot tub. Adjoining is a liquor store, which is convenient after all-day drive. The hotel is close to fast foods. It is a very short drive to downtown, also possible to walk. Overall, the hotel has very pleasant ambiance and is very comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.
Great feel to hotel with excellent outdoor hot tub and pool. Nice exercise room. Great breakfast area with standard BW menu. Easy drive to downtown with good choise of resturants. Free parking. Helpful front office staff with suggestions of places to eat.
My Wife and I stayed at he Best Western Plus in Revelstoke for a 1 night stay. We were just passing through and needed a 1 night layover to get some rest before continuing on. Check in went smooth and was very fast. The lady helping us was very informative and answered the questions that I had. Our room was very clean and was spacious as well. We stayed in a king room and the bed was very comfortable and a true king bed. We also used the pool and the hot tub. This area is outside and has a nice mountain view. We had the complimentary breakfast in the morning and it was very good. The service staff was very nice. We will for sure stay here again the next time we are passing through Revelstoke. I would recommend this hotel.
Our room was very comfortable and even though the hotel did not have a restaurant, a free shuttle was offered into Revelstoke for dinner. Nice outdoor pool and hot tub. Staff very helpful and friendly. Free breakfast was great with lots of options..waffles, scrambled eggs, etc.
The guy at the reception made everything in our stay worthwhile. He has an excellent customer service. The room was great, and exceeds our expectations. The hotel is clean. We would definitely stay again!
Stayed one night. The hotel is conveniently located with excellent access to Trans-Canada Highway 1 and downtown Revelstoke. The hotel is large, quite new and very nice. Ample and free outside parking and an inviting lobby. Only one person at the front desk and several guests, so we had a wait to check-in, but no big deal. Our room was spacious, relatively quiet and very clean. Amenities included coffee maker, safe, microwave, fridge and safe, all very nice. The breakfast area was spacious and nice, and with both hot and cold choices. We came at around 8.30, and even though the staff did their best, our breakfast experience was not great. This time of the day may be busy, but not only was it difficult to get seated, also some items (e.g. muffins) were no longer available.
The room rates are a little expensive but the location has easy access to the town and the highway. The building is clean, spacious, and modern. The free breakfast is great. The built in liquor store, guest laundry, massage spa, exercise room and high speed internet stations near the lobby are a nice touch. The pool and hot tub area is very nice however it is outside so if the weather is cold or rainy your out of luck. All in all its a good place to stay.
Check-in very smooth. Room (King) very nice, clean and lots of room. Shower head and pressure outstanding. Nice that hotel offers shuttle downtown. Breakfast 6-10 am. Liquor store connected to lobby, so that is very convenient
All the staff that I met there were great. Helpful with trails to walk on, shuttle service, breakfast was fantastic. Rooms were very clean and tidy. Everything worked in the room. Pool and hot tub a nice bonus. Definitely a must!
BW never disappoints wherever I stay with them. The comfort of the room was great & the best sleep ever in their king sized bed. Love their breakfast & pool facilities. Also the front desk was very friendly & helpful
Our family recently spent two nights at the Best Western Plus in Revelstoke and were pleasantly surprised. The front staff was very friendly while checking in, our room was spacious & clean. (Comfortable beds too! Pillows ok) However, the buffet breakfast that is included with your stay was top notch! Typically hotel buffet breakfasts are weak with very little hot food options. However, this one had several hot items to choose from and the next day they offered new options! Very impressive! Lovely outdoor pool with two hot tubs and the hotel offers a free shuttle service to & from downtown Revelstoke if you want to enjoy some beverages. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!
New, clean hotel! Lots of RV parking, super convenient location. We had a main floor room, which had vinyl plank, which would be excellent if we brought a dog with us, even supplied pet food bowls! The shower head was great! i may have to get one for my own home :) We checked out early, and noticed bottled water and homemade cookies at the front desk! breakfast was great, husband had waffles, there was nice ham and eggs too. If we're ever in revelstoke again, we will definitely stay here!
This Best Western Plus is quite new and very clean. Breakfast was included with the room and the selection wasn't bad. A lot of young family with kids were also there on the day we checked in. But it was not noisy. Rooms were pretty big, bathrooms were clean and even the beds were firm enough for a good night's sleep.
We stayed for a night whilst visiting with friends from Kelowna. the pool was closed for a while but was a focal point for the hotel great for families with kids. We had a two queen unit which was clean and tidy. One small problem is that construction started near the hotel at 0630 so wear ear buds as it helps. Breakfast was fine but limited in selection. The hotel has an effieicent shuttle service to sister sites. We ate at the local pub which was okay. The rooms were expensive for what they provided though. there may be less expensive options in Revelstoke.
We unfortunately were only at this hotel for one brief night, but were most impressed with the service, cleanliness and helpfulness. We were warmly welcomed by the front desk staff. The buffet breakfast was expansive and very good, and there were nice extra touches, such as a large cooler of lemon iced water, and homemade cookies at reception! These small things make a big difference to one's overall impression and enjoyment. Would not hesitate to stay there again!
Clean and spacious rooms. Great breakfast and cookies at the front desk. Loved the pool and the two hot tubs. It nice that there are outside tables to sit at and have a snack and a drink. Will return!
After prebooking at a very disappointing Inn in Revelstoke, we went to the Best Western Plus and had a fabulous evening. We had our 4 year old grandson with us, so it was super special!! He loved the pool and the great breakfast choices in the morning! Superb beds!! Super friendly and helpful staff! Definitely worth the stay!
The BW Plus in Revelstoke is one of our favourite places to stay when travelling from Vancouver to Calgary. It is in excellent condition with modern decor; the location is gorgeous and the hotel is quiet and very clean. There are about 5 Tesla plug-ins and one standard EV plug-in, for those with electric vehicles. The morning (complimentary) breakfast is excellent. BW generally has a great chain of family hotels; this is one of their best.
This is a newer hotel, and it has the amenities and decorating you expect in a new hotel. Hotel rooms are clean and beds were comfortable. Great sheets! The outdoor pool and spas were a hit with the kids. The breakfast was outstanding, scrambled eggs, bacon, fresh fuit, yogurt... Parking for electric vehicles tesla and standard plug in. A great value!
We stayed in a pet room and you would not smell that it was a pet room. Loved the pet package that we received upon check-in. They even had bowls in the room for food and water and a couple of towels/rags for pets. Even a tag for the door to say "Pet on vacation". Doggie bags outside at the door in case you forgot. The hotel is in an area that is away from downtown. They have a shuttle in the evening to go downtown. Walked to town during the day taking the walkways. Room was spacious and clean. Fridge could have used a freezer compartment. The staff was friendly and helpful. Hot breakfast had a good variety and large area to accommodate guests.
Although there was a big mix up with the room we booked over the phone and the room we were given, this was a clean and friendly hotel we'd give another chance for sure when passing through. I was surprised nothing was given for the room mix up - perhaps a waiving of our pet fees or something, but I did appreciate the manager calling me to ensure I was ok with the mix up.
The hotel was excellent .... very clean, well maintained and people were great. Revelstoke is I hidden gem with lots of things to do any month of the year. The Best Western Hotel is likely the nicest hotel in town. It's a little expensive, but compared to other hotels in town, good value. The breakfast was very good and the hotel runs a free shuttle to downtown and back every evening. Nice touch.
Only one night as in town for an event. Beautiful room, clean and well maintained. Nice mountain view. Included a hot breakfast buffet. Easy checkin and front desk Kirsten was very pleasant and welcoming. Also have to thank Angela for her helpfulness with the easy reservations. Thanks to all.
This is the nicest Best Western we have ever stayed. Great location on the edge of town with beautiful views. Staff were very nice and the grounds were immaculate. Breakfast was fresh and changed each day during our multi day stay. We will be back!
9 of us were on a motorcycle trip and found this gem of a hotel! From the moment we walked in, a wonderful experience ensued! Donna greeted us at the desk with an unparalleled attitude of fun and professionalism! The double room and King suites were clean and spacious. The morning breakfast was excellent, and the lobby was very accommodating for a late night card game! We'll definitely be back on a future ride!
After staying at a few luxury resorts before our stop in Revelstoke, I found the comparison surprising - the hotel room was as good as the luxury hotels and even more spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Nestled in between 4 mountains, this Best Western is ideally located! Convenient access to the city and surrounding area. Staff was very accommodating! First return visit in way too many years! Will definitely return and make this our go to hotel! Thanks
Very new hotel with easy access and an amazing swimming pool and hot tubs! Large breakfast area, great food and clean rooms with lots of amenities. Had a small problem checking in but everything else was fine.
My son and I left Calgary after work. we arrived around 10 pm for check in. Tired and thirsty, I asked if there was a pool? the wonderful woman working, told us she would keep the pool open and a liquor store was across the lobby. we had a great soak and the hotel supplied plastic glasses for the rum & coke. after a great sleep we were up at 7 am check out was 20 sec. quick and the free breakfast was hot eggs and ham with a muffin and bagel my son had a fresh waffle and syrup.
The hotel is very nice. The staff is super friendly. It is a very clean hotel. The rooms are quite large, we fit a play pen in with the two queen beds and there was still plenty of room. Breakfast had a large variety. I would recommend to stay here. I even signed up for the rewards program.
My husband and I occasionally stay at Best Western Plus in Revelstoke when we are travelling back and forth between Calgary and Kelowna. It is new and tastefully decorated, super quiet at night and is great value for the money. The included breakfast buffet is quite substantial. As a GF vegan, I don't make use of a lot of it but there are options such as almond milk, granola and the pan fried potatoes, which taste yummy and homemade. For non-vegans, they offer eggs, ham, and of course the usual cereals, muffins, bagels and toast. A beautiful hotel in a scenic town!
Great service and beautiful location. Easy to get around downtown area with complimentary hotel shuttle service. Amenities such as two hot tubs and a swimming pool were available. Breakfast buffet had a lot of variety and tasted good.
Very nice hotel in a great location. Right off highway and lots of parking. Good breakfast with lots of options including waffles, cereal, breads and potatoes. Would recommend staying here as it is very quiet and very well maintained.
We were very pleased that the hot tub was hot enough and the jets were fantastic! Beverages were allowed at the pool and hot tub area, no glass of course. Plastic cups were provided before entering the area. Nice touch! Free shuttle to downtown restaurants and pubs, great if you want to enjoy some adult beverages! This hotel is one of few that understands that adults want to be adults at a hotel and allows you to have a drink and even gives you a ride! Impressive!
Our stay at this hotel was just ok. Nothing special. We stayed with our dog and liked that the room didn't have carpet but laminate. The breakfast was decent. The Pillows were very comfortable. Room was quiet. The price was too high and there were ants in our room.
A quick over-nighter on our way home, we decided to give it a try. It is definitely a "Plus" hotel with the Best Western brand; large, clean rooms, well-maintained exterior and interior and a great breakfast buffet.
The breakfast at the Revelstoke Best Western Plus was the “second best” hotel breakfast we have ever encountered. The hot choices provided were excellent, from ham, to omelettes, to fried potatoes. You had real plates and cutlery, not plastic. The breakfast area was spacious. The breakfast added to what was already, a very good hotel experience.
Stayed in a corner room. Very spacious and comfortable. Lots of parking and easy access off the highway. About 2 blocks from the highway so not really any traffic noise regardless of the room location. Great internet speeds and large channel selection from telus. Love the included breakfast. They use real plates and cutlery and not allot of disposable wear like some of the other hotels. One of the better breakfasts. Real fried eggs, potatoes and bacon. Not the processed variety. Lots to choose from. Great breakfast. Large fitness area and a pool (closed during my stay) 2 hot tubs. Personable staff. A bit pricier than other places. Don't hesitate to stay.
The check in was fast, the room was fantastic, and the request for a quiet room was met with flying colours. The parking was easy and the breakfast options looked great. (We should have taken advantage of the free meal, but had to run) Overall the stay was perfect!
Just off the highway this hotel is sparkling clean, tastefully decorated, quiet and comfortable. Nicely appointed rooms and a lovely hot breakfast buffet. Fresh cookies at check in and fast printer in the business centre were a treat and the staff were great. This property is among the best of the many Best Westerns I've enjoyed as a Diamond reward member.
Stayed here for one night while driving from Victoria to Calgary. We checked in late afternoon and the lady at reception was fantastic. Efficient, helpful, friendly - everything a front end person should be. Our room was clean and updated. Linens were good - towels 'ok'. Lots of hot water and water pressure. Nice and quiet and the bed was comfy. Liked it so much we stayed at the BW in Revelstoke on the way back to see what tgat was like. Oh... the included breakfast was really quite good - much better than most included breakfasts. Recommended.
This hotel was the best of the best in all respects. Clean, friendly and comfortable all around. Check In and Check Out was quick and staff was very friendly. Quiet room and lacked nothing for amenities Hot breakfast in a large breakfast room. Beautiful mountain view as well..
Everything was great from the very nice person that checked us in, beautiful spacious room, and very comfortable bed. Breakfast is included and consisted of real eggs that were cooked this morning, sausages, variety of bread and bagels, juices, yogurt, and fruit. Very nice bright breakfast room and attentive staff. We were also given a 10% off for 112 restaurant in town which was outstanding. The hotel offers a free shuttle to the restaurant as well. Will definitely stay here again next time through Revelstoke!
Very clean and contemporary room decor with amazingly comfortable beds. Great service, very good breakfast. Nice outdoor hot tub area. On the outskirts of town, but super easy to find. Still within minutes of everything, and abt 10 to the ski hill. Have stayed here three times now and would recommend to anyone!
After an extremely long day I was given my key card and sent to an occupied room to find dirty underwear and another patron sleeping. When that got sorted out and I got a new room, The hand towel was dirty and the TV was not working. The lack of attention to detail makes me wonder how well the room was cleaned to begin with.
We've stayed a couple of times on our way through the area and find the hotel to be consistently good. Rooms and clean and comfortable, wifi appears reliable, good television service, decent breakfast, friendly staff. We expect a certain standardization from chain hotels, and it can be easy to forget to acknowledge the ease that brings. Its usually when it fails that we notice. This hotel delivers what the chain promises where others fail to do so.
The Manager Donna, went above and beyond when it came to customer service! We were staying with a group of 10 people prior to moving to another hotel for the Heli Ski portion of our trip. She contacted the Heli Ski hotel and arranged to have them come pick us all up....something that hotel had not offered to do for us. Donna went even one step further, when two people in our party missed the shuttle to the Revelstoke Mountain on day, she grabbed her keys and took them there herself! I cannot tell you the last time I have had such wonderful customer service!
A wonderful hotel. Staff are caring and helpful. Rooms are great. I needed special accommodation as my shift was overnight. They were helpful in their service adjustment. The breakfast was great. You should stay just to have breakfast.
Best Western was nicely located just outside downtown Revelstoke. I was able to walk easily into downtown to get a cup of coffee or breakfast, or shop. It's located about 10 minutes from the resort at Revelstoke. The rooms were very nice, comfortable beds and pillows. Standard breakfast spread included. There is a gym, outdoor pool and spa.
Nice spacious rooms, great breakfast & pool complex(2 hot tubs & outdoor pool), nice decor & helpful staff, good location close to hwy#1 but no noticeable traffic noise, easy to find, highly recommend
Revelstoke Highways we're closed in several spots due to snow storm. One call to the Best Western and they were beyond helpful and a very stressful time for 3 families travelling with children. They got us 3 wonderful clean rooms, were able to do laundry, had continental breakfast, hot tubs, lobby space to visit and kids to stretch there legs after sitting in the cars. Huge thank you for the early check in. You have no idea how much we appreciated all the help!
Very clean rooms, and we had fantastic service from the front desk, very polite and helpful. Breakfast is included with the price of your stay and it was excellent. It was very quiet in the rooms and like I said above very clean. We will stay here again when driving through town.
Enjoyed our three day stay, great breakfast , all needs attended to with courteous service All faculties and rooms clean, excellent staffIdeal spot to stay while skiing at Revelstoke Mountain Good Proximity to downtown restaurants
The front desk staff apparently had better things to do around 20:30 on a Wednesday evening than help me make a reservation; I was put on hold for what felt like an eternity, so I hung up and tried calling back several times however no one would answer. I prefer to make my reservations with an actual person in the location that I'm traveling to so that I have an opportunity to ask questions about community events or locations of points of interest to help with the planning of the trip. When I shared my discontent with their customer care Department, even though I'm a diamond Rewards member, nothing was done other than the stock we apologize for your experience and value you as a loyal customer. So I made it clear that even though I have stayed with the Best Western multiple times every single month for the past five years, that I would be switching to the Sandman if that's the best they could do for someone who has been very loyal to them. Once we arrived at the hotel the front desk staff were very pleasant however they didn't have any knowledge of community events which was also disappointing. If I was not redeeming rewards points to stay there for free that night, I would have driven the short distance across the road to stay at the Sandman where they have a great Atrium with an indoor pool. And the breakfast they brag about, I'd recommend microwaving your eggs to ensure they are properly cooked as three out of the five people in our group were sick shortly after eating them.
Nice rooms, Great Breakfast! The breakfast is hot and varies every morning. The breakfast staff is friendly too. We were happy with the housekeeping...don't laugh...that is getting to be a big issue with me. So often the rooms are dirty, unvacuumed and messy but they seem to have good cleaning staff here. The check in check out is fast efficient and the staff is friendly.
Stayed twice at this hotel very nice estsblishment my only complaint is the time that the continental breakfast was served 7 am is way too late considering the majority of the people there were workers and left by 630 am. It should be 6 am.
Helpful, courteous staff and an included breakfast make this a terrific place to stay the night when in Revelstoke. There is a reasonable shuttle bus to get to downtown if you do not wish to walk it, or the ski hill, and a golf course is four blocks away. It's great.
We stayed here for three nights and had a fabulous stay. The lady on reception was most helpful and told us of the free laundry available that we used our first afternoon. Our room was very comfortable and looked out at the mountains nearby. There were free cookies she encouraged us to take back to our room and we thoroughly enjoyed them with our cup of tea. Breakfast was extremely good with a wide choice of hot and cold items. We enjoyed a filling, varied meal each day. There was a wide range of cereals, breads and fruit available and plenty of oatmeal available which I particularly enjoy. The coffee was very good too and there was a plentiful supply available all day. The lady servicing the room was keen to keep it clean and she kept all the hot food topped up each day. I would strongly recommend this hotel as a place to stay if you are in the area.
We stopped for the night with my happy labrador retriever on our way to Calgary. The surrounding residential neighborhood was great for a walk with her.The hotel staff and amenities were all great. My grand daughter went for an evening swim in the rain and thoroughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The price was a bit steeper than I expected.
Heading for the Rockies? This is a great place to stay on the trip. Friendly and cost effective. You will not regret it. The staff are very friendly, the accommodation more than meets expectations and you are perfectly placed for rge next leg of your trip.
Best Western always seems to go out of their way to make sure we are satisfied. We got an "upgrade" on this visit. It seems when we get upgraded at Best Western properties we always get into a "wheelchair accessible" room. We love this upgrade every time.
We always stay here on our way to BC coast/interior. Love the hotel however last time could not open wine we bought because hotel and adjoining liquor store and nearby gas station did not have corkscrews. Very happy to see that this trip there was a corkscrew in our room when we arrived. As usual the staff were friendly and efficient and the room was very clean and comfortable. Cookies on check in are a nice touch. Thinking about exploring their golf package next year.
If you are looking for a very comfortable and nicely appointed property the BW in this town is the best. Well located just off the TCH you won't be disappointed. Rooms are very nice and well appointed. This is a new property. the breakfast room is large and the selection will satisfy everyone.
We had a great nights stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The property and rooms were very clean. You can't beat the value as the breakfast was beautiful with everything very fresh and good quality. No powdered eggs here! The store attached to the hotel had a great selection of wine and snacks and was very handy. The outdoor hot tub was a nice perk too. We would definitely stay here again!
I'd stayed here before and once again a very good stay. Pretty quiet in the shoulder season. A great fitness area. Also a large outdoor pool and hot tub area. The included breakfast is very good. None of the microwaved looking breakfast items you see at some places. Real potatoes for hashbrowns and grilled sausages. Staff always on the go cleaning and checking things. All very good. A block off the highway so pretty quiet. Lots of parking. Great place too stay.
What a great surprise. Dog friendly & we showed up at the door last minute & they had a room for us. Also a nice little gift for our chocolate Labrador Adam. He was well received by the staff. Room was clean on the main floor. Nothing to complain about.
We arrived in Revelstoke after a lovely day of driving in the Canadian Rockies, just moseying along from Merritt. What a wonderful property this is! We were pleased with our comfortable, clean, spacious, disability-accessible room close to the elevator (with a mountain view out the window), and also pleased with the lovely, welcoming lobby. Staff here are friendly and welcoming as well. We were told upon check-in about the free shuttle to the 112 Restaurant downtown, and we decided to take advantage of that option. This turned out to be one of highlights of our vacation--an upscale, classy restaurant in the downtown hotel, with a lovely ambiance, live music, outstanding food options, beautiful wine, and friendly, efficient service. We were just delighted! And the shuttle driver was also efficient and friendly--a real plus for someone who didn't know the area at all. Upon returning to the BW+, I chose to swim in the outdoor pool and also use the hot tub. It was a cool evening, but the water was just the right temperature and this was a definite plus to end my day. Breakfast was far beyond "Continental", and everything we tried was delicious. It was displayed in an attractive fashion and the breakfast area was just as pleasant as the rest of the hotel's public area. I cannot think of anything to criticize about this property except that we had trouble adjusting the heat in our room. Since we didn't call for help, it was probably our own fault. Loved this place. If we ever were to return to Revelstoke, we would definitely stay here again!
Amazing room with a beautiful mountain view. Clean and comfortable. The staff are knowledgeable and pleasant. Excellent breakfast in the morning. Very attentive cleaning staff there too. Wish we were making a longer stay of this beautiful town.
We were tired when we arrived and delighted to find this lovely hotel. "Plus' is the designation that Best Western uses for it nicest properties and this one lived up to the claims. Kudos to the front desk people who were quite helpful with assisting us to find a restaurant and also helping with reservations ahead. The room was very comfortable and everything was in order, the parking was close in, and breakfast was delightful. We enjoyed our stay very much and I wished we could have had another night.
We stopped overnight here travelling to the Rockies from Whistler. We stayed in 6 hotels in Canada and this was the best. Parking is outside the hotel and free. Reception was quite lively and it was evident that this hotel is popular with families. Checkin was friendly and helpful. The room and bed were huge, very clean and equipped and finished to a very high standard. The rooms were very quiet. There is a liquor store attached to the hotel, was good for me as I bought so local craft ale from there (super tasty) The hotel offered a shuttle bus to down-town, but we didn't use it. We would have been happy to stay at the hotel for longer and may stay again if we come back to Canada. The only downside was the view, which seemed to be over a local truck parking lot.
We stopped here overnight on our western Canada, this was by far the best hotel we stayed at. The rooms are bigger than any other chain hotel and all of the property was kept very clean for a 6 year old hotel. Morning breakfast was better than any complimentary breakfast we have had in years. All of the staff at this hotel was very helpful and cheerful.
Beautiful hotel. Amazing staff. We stayed on our way from Vancouver Island back to Calgary. It was during the wildfire season so the town was very smoky but the hotel seemed to have it under control. Hotel was incredible and we enjoyed the pool, hot tubs, and business center. The breakfast was a great way to start the next morning and had a huge selection of items. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Room was clean and very modern with a very comfy bed. It was slightly more then we normally pay for a hotel room but worth every dime and we will be sure to stay again on future trips.
Clean tidy, Staff were excellent. Warm breakfast in the morning was pretty good! I would recommend this hotel. Kids liked the outdoor pool. No slide but thats ok not a requirement. They even provide kids life jackets if required.
First of all this dog friendly hotel greeted us with a small package for our pet, we also noted that at every entrance around the building there were baggies for your pets 'business'. The package included some treats and baggies in a carrying container, for us we received a small token with sparkling and still waters and 3 chocolate treats. The staff were very friendly and professional. Upon enquiring where to and get some dinner and how far of a walk to DT I was informed there are great places there and its about a 30 min walk, that is unless you want to take the courtesy shuttle that does pick up and drop offs several times an hour. We took option 2 and had a very nice driver take us in to DT where we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and few drinks. When we decided to leave the shuttle was exactly where we were told it was going to be and back to the hotel we went. I don't have one but a great thing to note there are 4 electric car charging spots, 3 for Tesla and 1 for non Tesla. We have and will go back again, maybe stay a couple of days to explore this really cool small BC town. Another thing I have stayed at many Best Westerns and I've got to say for a complimentary continetal breakfast, this place has one of the best.
Amazing staff, clean rooms, and pretty good complimentary breakfast. Best yet is the late check-out! So glad we ended up staying here and it has me wondering why I waited this long! When I called I got to sign up for the BW rewards and instantly got to take advantage of the perks.
We had a long but fantastic day of driving where the outside temperatures were consistently 34oc. We were greeted by one of the friendliest, professional, knowledgeable front desk agents I have ever met. Her name is Cindy. She offered us much needed welcome drink; cooled room; shuttle information; area information - all done within a timely manner. Our room was spacious, clean, modern and comfortable. Best sleep ever! After a day of driving, the swim in the outdoor pool was perfect. We returned to our room where a prompt follow up voicemail from Cindy was left for us. Breakfast was included in our booking. All of the food was presented at the right temperature (hot, cold). Buffet was clean and the restaurant attendant was smiling and working hard (lady with short grey hair). Our entire experience was textbook. It was exactly what we saw on the Best Western tv ads. I've never stayed at a Best Western before but after this experience, we will be back. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Very neat and spacious rooms. Maintained like brand new. Very good location. The breakfast buffet is way better than most hotels. They really take pains to give a nice spread for breakfast. Nice pool and hot tub. Overall, a very good budget hotel
This hotel is a must. When going through Revelstoke you have to stay here. From its friendly staff to its well-appointed rooms 2 the outrageous free breakfast it is by far the best that I have stayed in for quite some time. As far as I'm concerned it is luxury beyond belief. I know some of you will not agree with this but I have stayed at many hotels in this province, and I do believe that this is one of the best. I can't retrieve enough about the staff and the well-appointed gym or pool or massage room. It is just something that you have to experience for yourself.
Excellent customer service from Angela / great hotel & location Very extremely clean/ amazing breakfast / comfortable beds/ great room We would definitely stay again at this hotel! We're thinking of meeting our family -in the middle- and staying here next year
This hotel is honestly the best hotel that we have stayed in. The building is new and everything was neat and clean. The room was very open, and had everything it needed to have. The room was extremely clean and the service was incredibly amazing. The outside pool and breakfast were also great. The wifi connection was fast, unlike some other hotels where it is really slow. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone, especially if you're travelling with your family. Although the price for one night was pretty high, you do get what you pay for. My family is definitely happy with our stay and we will stay at this hotel again. Overall, we had an amazing stay and I'd rate it 5/5 :)
We've stayed at this hotel in the past and it still remains a favorite hotel to stop at after a long drive. Staff are always friendly and attentive and the interior remains clean and well-kept. While the continental breakfast includes standard-fare items such as breads / waffle maker / etc., this hotel also adds fresh hot items like real (as in NOT frozen puck variety) sausages and potatoes - setting this hotel one step up from the others. The only negatives during this stay is random strands of hair in the bedsheets along with a toy on the floor from previous guests. The outdoor pool means you can only use it during warmer days, which we never got to use due to weather. Booking during the peak Summer season also means a pricey overnight stay but if you want more than the basic motel, this is a great choice.
A modern hotel on the fringe of the town. We had a stopover here from Banff. The rooms are great, very spacious even with the sofa bed out, very clean and well equipped. The staff are friendly and helpful. Nice smallish swimming pool and hot tub, and a good gym. There is no restaurant on site for evening meal, however a free and regular shuttle bus into town and collection more or less as soon as you are ready ( up till 1:30 ish) - just ring hotel from the drop off point. We used this with no problems whatsoever. The hotel also gives complimentary breakfast which was superb! (See photo!) If using this hotel as a stopover you would be best off with a car, it's quite a walk to the Main Street of the town, and there isn't really anywhere to go from the hotel for an evening / morning stroll although as mentioned the shuttle bus is very good. I would definitely book again if travelling this route. Free wi fi.
This hotel was clean, comfortable, right off the highway so very easy to find, and served the best hot breakfast buffet that we have experienced to date as part of a hotel included hot breakfast. The beds were comfortable and the front desk service was polite and efficient even though we did not arrive until midnight. Our only negative is that we thought the hotel was expensive compared to others in the area.
Very nice hotel...nice large room. Cindy was very pleasant and helpful as she was checking us in. She informed us of activities going on in the area, as well as the shuttle to other locations in the area. The breakfast offered a wide variety of hot and cold items. Would definitely stay here again.
New hotel near the highway. Lots of places near for dining out. There is a wine store attached to the hotel. Huge pool and hot tubs for all to enjoy. The staff at the front desk and at the breakfast (included) were very nice to talk too.
First visit to this hotel and town. Would stay here again. Easy check-in, nice outdoor pool and hot tubs, easy access to downtown via their shuttle (was very busy later in the evening so we took a cab back to the hotel). The attached liquor store is handy and easy access to the highways to carry on.
We stayed at the Best Western Plus in Revelstoke and were happily surprised at the luxury we found here. Friendly and easy check in, rooms were spacious (2 queen beds) and bathrooms were modern and super clean. Beds and pillows were very comfy. Outdoor pool and hot tubs added to the fun. Will definitely stay here again.
We were staying one night in Revelstoke and the Best Western was high on Trip Advisor listing and should have been at the top. The welcome was pleasant and we were checked in without a hitch. All the facilities were explained to us so before we even left the reception desk I knew there was a pool, hot tub, gym, laundry room, computer and printer, shop and courtesy bus into town if fancied a drink and meal. Lovely room (419) on the top floor which was really quiet with all the amenities you would expect in good hotel - safe, ironing board, robe and slippers, fridge, coffee maker and products in the bathroom. Nice sitting area separated from bed which was firm with loads of pillows. Always a welcome relief to find a good bed after a long day visiting museums or travelling. Did not get a chance to use the pool or hottub as decided to catch up on washing as half way through 3 week trip around western Canada. However it looked lovely as i passed it by loaded down with washing. Added bonus is buffet breakfast in the morning. Well stocked hot buffet of ham, eggs and potatoes or if wanting somehting simpler there is cereal and breads to toast. There is a waffle maker for the kids (big and small) along with coffee, tea, juice or milk on tap. Despite it being busy nothing ever ran out and we had a lovely seat outside just next to the pool. When back in Revelstoke this is now my hotel of choice and would recommend it to anyone staying in the area. Don't forget to visit the railway museum or the hydro electric visitors centre both easily accessible from the hotel.
Our stay at this Best Western Plus was excellent. Location of hotel is just off Highway 1. Staff were friendly. Check in was easy. We were given a map of local restaurants & pubs. Free shuttle service to the downtown area. Room was clean. Breakfast items were very good. Decor of hotel was welcoming & relaxing. We would stay here again.
Great hotel. Sits off the highway behind another hotel so hadn't noticed it before and stayed at other places in Revelstoke. This hotel is way more quiet and the interior has obviously been recently renovated. Our room was really spacious, beds were comfortable and it was so clean. The exterior of the hotel is a little underwhelming but as soon as you walk in the lobby it's obvious that folks are working hard here. Again, it is so clean. Would definitely stay here again.
There are 10 of us in the family. Check in was a breeze. 3 rooms booked and they had us all together. Not divided up like the previous place. The room us very clean; staff oh so nice and helpful; cheerful and kind. I would definitely stay again.
We really enjoyed staying in this hotel during our road trip between whistler & banff, it starts from the warm welcoming lady in front dest, easy check in & out, nice beds & amenities, good location, plenty of parking spaces..Nothing go wrong on this one
We came across this hotel quite by accident as it is hidden among other hotels/motels in the same area. The room was super clean, the swimming pool and hot pools were open and refreshing after a long drive. The bed was ultra comfortable and the front desk couldn't do enough to make our stay very enjoyable. Breakfast in the morning had a huge variety of food. I didn't have to eat that day until super. This is a great hotel and well worth the visit for families, couples and singles. Made some great friends there in the hot pools. Highly recommended.
perfect hotel. There was a major storm and a power outage. hotel staff brought a generator to cook breakfast. rooms are clean was amazing! I wish the served better coffee. but I will let it slide as there is a tims and starbucks across the street
Pet friendly. Accommodated us very well, they gave us a room at the back, we were able to open the back door and load our stuff in quickly. Room was nice. Very clean! Nice and quiet for sleeping. The staff said the hotel was 67 years old and the outside of the building looks it lol. But the rooms were nice. Staff very friendly. Would definitely stay again. They have a continental breakfast, we did not partake. Lovely view of the mountains.
This was our second stay in a Best Western, the first being in Missoula. The hotel was similar, very well decorated and good size room. The breakfast area was bigger and of a better layout. Similar food types were available and was very comprehensive. A nice pool and hot tub was outside, bikes to rent if you so wish and walk distance to food outlets like A&W and McDonalds. Also, there is a gas station next door to fill up when leaving on your next travels. Out of all the chains we stayed in I think Best Western have it right for size and finish of room and the breakfast. If travelling to the USA or Canada in the future I'll be sure to book this chain.
We stopped here as it was getting too dark to continue This hotel is as good as any 5 star I have been to in terms of fit and finish and quality of the rooms Breakfast was good but not as good as the buffet in Banff The pool outdoors and jacuzzi have views of the mountains Best bed so far Best bathroom so far Nicest room by far
Great hotel, awesome room and overall a great experience. The staff was quick and knowledgeable at check in and check out. Hotel was spotless and pools and hot tub were spotless as well. Interior of rooms were very well maintained and cleaned. Internet worked flawlessly and the TV was excellent.
Just an amazing stay. Beautiful big king size bed room with workstation and couch area. Hotel has a pool and large hot tub outside. Never heard another guess moving around for my whole week stay. The breakfast included with your stay is average.
Hotel and staff are top notch. Place is very clean and fitness facilities are well equipped, which is what I look for on business travel. Breakfast is substantial and quite satisfying. Hotel is right off of Highway 1, and easy to get to.
This is a great hotel. It is very clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, the bed has the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on in a hotel and the shower is large. My group was extremely pleased with the free breakfast - not the usual continental fare but full breakfast items like fried eggs, real bacon, fried potatoes, etc. You get great value at this location.
This hotel is located in an easy to access from the highway. Very nice and clean rooms. They had a lot of outlets for your smart phone / laptop devices and a table that you can actually work from. Had a great sleep and I would return.
I stayed at the Best Western Revelstoke for a family ski vacation when it was new. Considering our previous experience and recent Tripadvisor reviews I chose it again for a week long business stay in April 2018. I stayed in a king room on the main floor and it seemed as new as the first time I stayed. The room, lobby, halls, hot tub area and parking lot are very clean and well maintained. The king room had a large LED TV, sofa, mini fridge, microwave and coffee machine. The wifi is very good now (on my first stay the wifi was not good). The breakfast is outstanding as far as complimentary hotel breakfasts go. They change up the selection daily so even after a week it was still enjoyable. The other amenities are hot tub, pool, spa, laundry, electric vehicle chargers, attached liquor store (with a good selection) and a large common area for meals or gatherings. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It is one of the farthest hotels to the ski hill and downtown (walk-able) but this is relative as the ski hill is only a 15 minute drive. All in all a great hotel and great stay and I will be staying again in early May.
We are truly impressed with this locally themed art-filled hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. This hotel even offers a free shuttle service to downtown where there is a great selection of bars and restaurants. On this stay (there will be more stays for sure), we had booked the king-bedded corner suite which is not only spacious and beautifully appointed, it came with bath robes, not to mention the very high ceiling in the bedroom area. They have excellent all-year hot pools: there are two, and the bigger one is shaped in a way to accommodate many so that everybody has the space they need. The lobby and public areas are top notch, elegant, and there's a lot of beautiful art. Even the hallways are the most beautiful we've seen in any Best Western so far. The breakfast area was spacious, with the regular offerings, and staff were very helpful.
We have stayed in a LOT of pet friendly hotels over the years as we go south for the winter with our three dogs. And honestly most of them have been pretty good. But this hotel just put all the rest of them to shame. From the dog welcome package with really decent goodies to the water bowls and clean up rags in the rooms it was a 10 out of 10 experience. And the floor is a vinyl type thing so would be easy to clean up if the dog has a whoops. The rooms were lovely, not the normal 'dog rooms' : o offered by many; beds and pillows SUPER comfy. AND they even had an area reserved outside for larger RVs etc and where we could actually plug our motorhome in to keep the fridge running. Would have stayed in motorhome but it's winterized because spring has not sprung in western Canada just yet : / But this hotel was a ray of sunshine!! And FANTASTIC breakfast!!! One of the best free selections we've ever had...aside from that place in Montana that had the homemade cinnamon buns... but I digress; this hotel had a really wonderful selection and great coffee. I rate this hotel 9.5/10; would be a 10 if it had a secured wifi.
We stopped here after a long day on the highway from northern BC on our way to Calgary. The staff were very professional and friendly, the room was large and clean with all the amenities. The hot tub was even open but too cold outsde for me in March. We utilized the free shuttle to the downtown area where we walked around and took in a nice meal at the Regency.
Booking was directly through the hotel, and not a very smooth experience. Agent had some computer issues. Asked for a pet friendly room, and we were blown away by the thought that has gone into these rooms. The floors are vinyl laminate, smart. Dog bowl and basket of rags and instruction if pup has an accident. Dog room on the first floor, so easy in/out. Door at end of the hall has doggie bags hanging outside......seems no one uses based on the piles and piles on the very little grass available. Upside of hotel: Good location of the highway. Staff friendly. Liquor store attached, but VERY expensive. Gym well equipped for a small hotel. Rooms clean. Downside of hotel: VERY NOISY. You can hear all the walking from the rooms above. Heating system very poor. Hot tub filled with partying snowmobilers, so not worth the petry dish of bacteria. Breakfast lacks any variety.
Everything was excellent! Will stay at Best Western every time I go to Revelstoke. The staff is all friendly and very helpful. Angelia at the front desk was very professional and courteous. Rooms were spotless and breakfast was excellent.
Located just off the highway but close enough to all busnesses that are in Revelstoke to make this an easy choice. The best value in this area. The breakfast ia excellent an helps start the day off and quickly.
Very clean, bed was wonderful, very nice staff went out of their way to get me some information, hot tub was great, can't say anything bad , breakfast was good, wish they would of had a restaurant on site, but you can catch a shuttle down town
Recently visited for Feb ski trip. The location is fairly new, attractive and is very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Quick drive to the mountain (with free shuttle). Close to town for dinner options. Free breakfast had a great selection of items updated daily. Two large outdoor hottubs were great apres ski. Would highly recommend over traditional Revy options.
One of the more pricey options in revy. Hot tubs are great. Breakfast is good. Free shuttle is nice but plan to wait 20+ mins for it on weekends. Overall it's worth it if you're okay with spending a bit more money.
Wow! 5 Star all the way, great big clean comfortable room, breakfast.... fantastic. Staff friendly full of knowlage and great sense of humour and helpful. They make your stay perfect. We stay here all the time on route from Osoyoos to Calgary and arrange meetings there as it is in the middle for many. Clients.
I would have to say that I don't have any complaints about this hotel. Rooms were a good size with a comfortable bed and an area to sit. Breakfast was perfect, fresh each morning and plenty of it especially considering New Years Week when all the rooms were full. Hot tubs were welcoming after a full days skiing though seriously packed with only standing room when the sledders arrived a bit later in the afternoons. Also had a massage which I thoroughly enjoyed in a nice quiet room near the hot tubs. It was about a 20 minute walk into town which was easy to do. Personally I think one of the best features of the hotel if you are skiing or boarding is that out the front is the first bus stop and so you never missed out getting up to the mountain or waiting for the next bus. Also the bus pass is included in the price so you get a voucher for the duration of the stay. I was a little surprised that the hotel shuttle only started in the late afternoon. So if you had small children then you had to catch the bus which only came once an hour or longer during the day. Overall though I thought it was a very good place to stay in Revelstoke.
A modern, clean, nicely located hotel with superb amenities. Super friendly staff, free laundry, decent breakfast, very clean. One of the nicer hotels we've stayed in. Recommended with no reservations.
I hadn't been here before but thought I'd give it a try. Convenient just off the highway. Far enough removed that you don't get any traffic noise. Great at check-in. I had a king room on the 4th floor. Very nice and spacious. Great tv from TELUS. WiFi very good. Hotel appears pretty new and is very comfortable. Very clean. Great fitness area with lots of equipment. Also 2 hot tubs off the fitness area. One of the nicest included breakfasts I've had at a best western property, and I stay over 40 nights a year in the bw chain hotels. In house warm baked goods and 'real' cooked eggs. Not the typical scrambled from a container. Also great sausages. A large area for eating and for getting food. Great experience. No attached restaurant but a few pretty close by. Very good staff. An excellent place too stay.
Rooms are very large beds are comfortable plus.We love the beautiful outdoor hot tubs.Breakfast is nothing short of wonderful food changes daily.Staff is friendly and always helpful.Took there shuttle to112 for Supper wonderful experience food was superb.
We stayed one night driving through the mountains. The hotel and staff were wonderful. However, the heating/ventilation is provided by an individual unit for each room. Not sure of the wisdom of this given the location of the hotel in a frigid climate. We were exhausted and fell asleep quickly. However we were all awoken at 230am with the heating system grinding and clanging. We're all very sound sleepers but this was something else. Notified the front desk who said they would let maintenance know. I don't think it was broken it's just very very loud. Maybe it's done this way to provide white noise due to the constant trains going by (the trains didn't bother us but someone mentioned this). It seems the hotel walls are not well insulated as when we turned off the heater to get some sleep the temperature dropped quickly in the room so we had to turn it back on. It's a shame as the hotel and staff were great otherwise but for over $300 for the night I expected a good nights sleep thus the poor rating. Lots of much cheaper options around that we will try next time.
For the last several years, when traveling to Revy, we stay at the BW. The rooms are always clean, comfy beds, has the best breakfast of any BW, and free shuttle service to/from downtown. The staff is always friendly and helpful. If you need a washer/dryer there are two and free to use. Nice machines too. Two outdoor hot tubs, one large/small. There is a liquor store attached, There are a couple restaurants walking distance.
Our family and extended family trip has returned to Revy for year 2 over the Xmas holidays and wow what a fantastic trip! The people at Best Western Plus are absolutely the best! The hotel offers great views, awesome breakfast, two outdoor hot tubs and terrific service. And for those looking for an adult beverage, there happens to be a liquor store attached to this hotel!!!
When we checked in they did not have me in the system that I was bringing my dog with me. They were out of pet friendly rooms! Disaster right? nope, they took care of it right away and provided us a room that was not on their pet friendly list without hesitation. The breakfast buffet offered in the morning was very good, the staff were all nice and friendly. Perfect for a 1 night stay over on our way to Calgary
The Best Western Plus in Revelstoke was just what we needed for a break from our winter drive from Vancouver to Calgary. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The amenities were well kept and just what we needed for our one night stay - hottub, fitness center, and a free hot breakfast.
We really enjoyed our stay. Great hotel, staff and quality breakfast! Hot pools were awesome too after a day of skiing. Shuttle service was a nice addition - used it for skiing and into the town. Massage service from Beth was fantastic.
Passing through to Calgary with the family. This hotel has it all. There is a great pool and hot tub. I like the breakfast in the morning and it is close to town. There is even free laundry for guests.
I have come to appreciate a clean, well managed hotel with good standard amenities while traveling. The BW in Revelstoke BC delivers what I expect with no surprises. I have stayed at this hotel a number of times, during the winter months I prefer to make the drive from Calgary to Vancouver during daylight hours, the hotel is the prefect middle distance.
Hotel is kept in great shape, is close to the Highway, and convenient to the town. Staff are great at this location. Breakfasts are great. 2 Outdoor Hot Tubs get lots of use. Love the free laundry. This is my primary spot in Revelstoke.
For travelers planning an overnight stay in Revelstoke, the selection of the right hotel is paramount. Both the Trans-Canada Highway and the railroad pass through this city, so there's noise 24/7. The BWP Revelstoke is, without doubt, the best of the best for this reason alone. When the hotel was built, a spacious, well-equipped breakfast area was an integral part of the plans. And the owners of this establishment (who are also owners of the best steak house in downtown Revelstoke) know that great food keeps the visitors happy...and coming back for more. A quiet sleep and a fabulous breakfast to anticipate first thing in the morning...it just doesn't get any better. Way to go, BWP Revelstoke!!!
We have stayed at Best Westerns before but this was the nicest and coziest of all. On checkin, we were offered a free upgrade to an executive suite. The breakfast was well laid out and they not only had gluten free bread for me but also offered me a gluten free blueberry muffin. Nice staff all around.
We were there with a hockey team and all their parents. The staff went above and beyond helping our large group out. Extremely friendly and accommodating. Great recommendations for restaurants Awesome beds!.
Newest hotel in Revelstoke though well worth it to stay here. Friendly, competent, helpful and professional staff in all areas (reception, housekeeping and breakfast area). Made to feel welcome from the start at reception until you check-out. Breakfast was excellent with a variety of options and varied each day for the three nights we stayed. When you had bacon, sausages or ham it was thick sliced not pre-frozen and nuked. Eggs varied daily - scrambled plain, fried, scrambled with cheese and mushrooms. If something was empty and staff saw you looking they'd come and tell you when it was ready. Excellent.
Stayed while we visited our Son. Great hotel. Super clean. Comfortable beds. Good breakfast. TV gave lots of options, including hockey games across Canada. Beautiful views. Great access into Revelstoke. Would book again.
The Best Western in Revelstoke is a great place to stay. The rooms are lovely, the bed extremely comfortable, the breakfast delicious. It was quiet - even with 2 hockey teams staying at the hotel! The staff was friendly, helpful and professional.
Nice clean room. Good large selection breakfast. Room I was a little cramped for four people with gear. Was not offered an upgrade even though I have diamond select status. Saturday night hot tub was a sausage party unfortunately!
The hotel is slightly on the edge of town, just off the highway but is still in a quiet location. Room was good, clean and comfortable and it came with a free breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful as always in Best Western.
Our family (2 adults 2 kids) spent one night in the king suite. The room is spacious and had a pull out sofa bed and small fridge. Service from the front was so friendly and upon requesting an extra blanket it was delivered so fast I couldn't believe it. The outdoor pool was closed for the season but we enjoyed one of the outdoor hot tubs. There is also a work out room and a laundry room that seemed to be free of charge to use. The breakfast was amazing! I have never been to a hotel that included this type of breakfast. A warming tray filled with crispy bacon, hash-browns, eggs. Then several types of cereal and muffins or make your own waffle station with toppings. There were several places to sit and all of them were clean, the entire area so spotless and had staff there waiting if you needed assistance. Upon check out they had little cookie packages and fruit to take on your way. Very much enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend to others.
Amazing ammenities, rooms and staff. Cant rate it high enough. Breakfast better than any other hotel i gave stayed. Staff friendly and courteous. Spa's and gym high quality and well kept. Whole hotel top quality and clean. Up to date, recommend highly.
After several other accommodations in Alberta and BC this was the one that felt the most luxurious. We had a king suite - a great choice if you plan to spend some time in the room because of the space, sitting area and huge, high quality TV. Not cheap, but breakfast is big and our spotless, well-appointed fourth floor room had a view and good insulation from the noise of the trains that roll through constantly. All the staff was excellent. Great mattress. Just a good feel overall.
Came with my sister to visit my daughter as she is working here. The Best Western in Revelstoke, British Columbia is a great place to stay. Extremely comfortable, clean modern rooms with first class amenities. Staff are exemplary from housekeeping to food and beverage attendants. Would highly recommend this hotel for your next visit to Revelstoke.
I had to crash due to health issues, I was treated with respect and care despite my "casual" appearance. Breakfast was great, I wished I felt better. The amenities were all working. The checkout was quick, and the cookies delicious.
One night stay Positives: (1) Fresh, spacious and clean room. Comfortable beds. Exceeded expectations for a small town. (2) Decent breakfast (3) Outdoor pool and hot tub (open depending on season) Issues: (1) Not in town. Although convenient for the highway and only a 5 minute drive from town, I found Revelstoke to be charming and would prefer to stay in town if I return.
We stayed here one night early October 2017. Booking.com mentions 4-5 different types of rooms and we booked a Deluxe Suite. However if you carefully read the description, all rooms are the same. This was confirmed by the hotel when we checked in. We stayed in a pleasant, spacious and clean room. The part of the room where the bed is, has poor lighting. The hotel has excellent, high speed free Wi-Fi. The room has a nice bathroom with good lighting and good shower. We slept in a very comfortable king-size bed. The room has a coffee machine and fridge. Breakfast buffet is very good and they offer coffee and muffins to take with you when you leave. We would not recommend to stay in a room with a view on the pool. There is some machinery in the pool area which produces (also during the night !) some disturbing noises. The hotel has free parking.
Beautiful hotel in an incredible setting Hoyel smelled fresh as we walked in the lobby was beautiful and the check in was quick and easy Front desk girl helped with some Computer stuff I neeesed to do very helpful. We had a kind suite and it was so beautiful best hotel room ever we will be back
Excellent hotel, well appointed, great staff, clean and quiet. What else do you need. Reasonable value for the price. Very quiet and clean. Only draw back is you have to travel a bit for a lunch or supper. Breakfast was very good.
We have stayed here three times and each time has been a great stay. The hotel and room were nice, the bed very comfortable and the breakfast is such a bonus. The food has been very good. My kids love the waffle machine, and so do I.
A stop along the way. Not our destination. Very clean ,very comfortable and an amazing buffet breakfast. Will definitely stay again. Explored the town. Might make it a destination in the future. Garbage pickup at 7Am outside was a bit noisy but woke us up for great breakfast. Free in room wifi. We were pleased.
We have been travelling across Canada to and from the West Coast and the East Coast for many years. No matter what time of year it was or what time of the day we were ready to check into a hotel for the night, we always looked for a Best Western. The staff if totally awesome - in all areas of the hotel. They are cheerful, helpful, kind and understanding when an exhausted traveller arrives. Should the traveller have a special request of one kind or another, the Best Western Staff will go out of their way to assist the traveller with such request.
Returning once again for a pleasant stay at the BW Plus Revelstoke. We enjoyed the outdoor hot tub and warm breakfast. The room, lobby and hotel grounds were clean, well kept and consistent with what one might expect from this family-friendly chain. Thanks!
Stayed on business when weather took a turn in the Rogers Pass. Great all around property - front desk staff were great — nice finishings, clean updated facility. Basic breakfast - but there is a Starbucks across the highway. Recommended.
My family and I came to this hotel after staying at a few in town which were the same price. The hotel staff from front desk Polly to the lovely ladies in blue at breakfast who helped me enjoy my food with my two little ones. Everyone is so caring, proud of their town and jobs. The staff was the sweetest caring i have ever came across. The rooms were very clean and it was easy to check in and out. My little curly haired girls wanted to stay forever.. Well done we will always stay here best staff breakfast and best price out there.. Much love Wicked Willow Log Works Crew
A large group of us rode in on our Harleys,we have previously booked, we checked in, and they had all the keys and forms pre done for us. Check in was a breeze! which was very much appreciated. Hanging round waiting for forms to be printed one by one takes over 25 minutes,so to have these already done was the best!. Rooms were large, clean and spacious. A great spot and recommended for a stay.
Very warm and friendly staff, delicious fresh baked cookies in the evening, and the breakfast was fantastic. Extra bonus: free laundry after camping in the rain. This hotel was a very welcome relief in the face of some inclement weather.
This is a relatively new hotel located on the outskirts of Revelstoke with a 3 min drive into the lovely town centre. We stayed here for one night on our way back to Vancouver. The rooms are spacious, light and spotlessly clean. We appreciated having a sitting area as well as the bed area and a nice big bathroom with bench space. The hotel offers a complimentary breakfast which we found very convenient and satisfying. They also offer a guest laundry with free washing machines which is great for travellers. Other hotel amenities include a great gym area, pool, hot tub and business centre. Overall, a really great place to stay with very professional and helpful staff. Compared to other hotels we stayed in on a 3 week trip in Canada this one was very good value and a real winner. Highly recommend. While in Revelstoke don't miss a trip to Revelstoke National Park- it is simply stunning!
Excellent Hotel for overnight stops. Lacks a restaurant but provides a simple but adequate self-service breakfast. Excellent housekeeping, simple room amenities including internet, Wi-Fi, coffee and fridge, good room temperature controls, outdoor pool and exercise room. Heavily booked, so plan ahead.
really good place to stay. It just falls short of a 4 start. Room is clean and comfy. Air con works well, can hear water from next room when they have a shower. breakfast is ok. Hot and cold but nothing special to get it into the four star category. I would stay here again though
Clean, friendly staff. Great service. Fresh hot breakfast. We have stayed in this property many times and will always stay there when we pass through Revelstoke B.C. Had great recommendations for local places to have dinner.
Excellent front desk staff, helpful and friendly. Room was perfect and complimentary breakfast was great. Breakfast was both hot and cold food and a nice selection. We appreciated the parking that was extra long to accommodate a truck and trailer when hauling a trailer with boat or any other trailer.
Best Western Revelstoke is a beautiful hotel locating in the midst of the mountains. We really appreciate the décor, cleanliness and spacious rooms in this hotel. In addition, the beds are very comfy! We enjoyed soaking one of the two outdoor hot tubs. Breakfast, which is included, offers many options including hot items. The staff are personable and professional.
Great place for a end to summer vacation to the Revelstoke area. Best Western was very accommodating and we enjoyed our two nights there Took care of our little dogs as they accompanied us on the trip. Staff very friendly and always greeting us with a smile. We will be back
My husband and I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times and have never been disappointed. They provide great service and we both love the outside hottub. We usually stay at Best Westerns when we can and this is one seems to go above and beyond many of the others. We are VERY happy with this hotel and staff.
Great staff with clean modern rooms. The amenities are awesome. Gym, pool, hot tubs laundry and more. I've stayed here 4 times and I'll be back again definitely. Breakfast was over easy eggs, bacon and hash browns. There was a lot more than that but that's what I had.
Stay here on my way through, or of I am working in the area. One of the better hotels I get to stay at. Always enjoy their breakfasts! The shuttle to the downtown core, restaurants, or pubs is extremely handy and safe!
We stayed just one night but we had a wonderful experience. The staff was very friendly and we felt very comfortable. Clean rooms, very nice and new decor in the entire building, and great outdoor hot tubs. Overall a good stay, would recommend!
This a very nice hotel with the best hotel breakfast I have ever had (simply excellent) The staff are very nice and helpful. The rooms are large (really large), clean and comfortable. The TV is deluxe. My only negatives about this property are 1. the way noise carries. Unless you are on the top floor you are going to hear a lot of noise from your upstairs neighbour (and if there are kids up there, as was our experience on the 2nd night, it is very noisy). The other negative is the price...it's quite expensive. It was the highest priced hotel on my 13 day vacation yet not anymore spectacular than any other places I stayed for much less cost (except for the breakfast...did I mention how good it was). I gave it 4 stars because despite the negatives it's a nice place.
Revelstoke is an excellent location for exploring the Canadian Rockies, and the Best Western Plus looked by far to be the best facility in the area. The room was well appointed, spacious and quiet. Very accommodating for travel with pets.
The BW Revelstoke is conveniently located just off the highway. The hotel is nicely appointed and the décor has a rocky mountain flavor. There is a liquor store and mini mart attached to the hotel and there are several restaurants nearby. Rooms are clean and bright with very comfortable beds. Even though it's close to the highway I didn't hear any noise in the night.
We have stayed at several BW Plus hotels and always been impressed. The one in Revelstoke was a different matter. The carpet in the room had black stains all over it. The curtains had food or something splashed on them. The base of the shower had black staining all around edges. There were stains on the couch. The change rooms at the pool were filthy, towels are supplied at the pool and when done you put them in a big hamper. The hamper was overflowing and there were about 15 or 20 on the floor. The floor was really dirty. The hotel looks nice and the location is excellent. The breakfast was really good. Overall very disappointed considering the high cost. The only Plus about it is the breakfast. There are plenty of hotels in the area for a LOT less money
Great hotel when visiting the Revelstoke area. Very clean hotel and pet friendly. Hotel is new and well maintained. Hot breakfast awaits you in the morning. Staff are very friendly. IF you do bring a pet, or if you like to go for a morning walk or jog the river pathway is just a couple hundred yards from the hotel entrance.
*new property convenient to highway and amenties. *great staff, great breakfast, great accommodation. *the decorating is high quality with granite counters, * large panel TV in room. * wooden floor tiles for cleanliness. * pets welcome.
By far this is the best of the best westerns we have ever stayed at. Spacious, modern, clean accommodations. Everything worked well- nice toiletries. Breakfast room well organized and large enough. Amazing staff who made you feel welcomed and at home. Fast checkin and checkout. We will be back!
Newer hotel, well finished and excellent staff. The complimentary breakfast was more than the normal BW offering and very good. A little bit away from the centre of town, however a shuttle service was offered (didn't use it, the walk was only 2.0 Km)
we were a group of 17 motorcyclists. Unlike many hotels, the girls at Best Western Revelstoke were really on the ball, having pre-prepared keys, even arranging a special cleaning kit from Harley Davidson. Why oh why can't other hotels, be half as efficient and thoughtful. The breakfast room was very well run, and rather than the reconstituted scrambled eggs we were getting used to, had fried eggs available - a small thing, but the mark of a property that takes the extra step
This is a wonderful Hotel in Revelstoke. I had to be many times in this Area and this was the first time in this Hotel, and I am very satisfied. In my opinion this is one of the 3 best hotels in the area. Location and parking is great, but the best is the cleanliness and decoration of the rooms, it is all new, and also the staff is very friendly and helpful.
Waffle maker at breakfast and lovely warm swimming pools makes this family very happy. Deep thanks to room cleaner who returned our device cable to us in the car park as we were leaving. Best service ever!
The stay was great, the breakfast was the best I've experienced at a best western, the bed was fantastic. The pool, gym and hot tubs look nice. Would have been nice to have a lounge onsite. Front desk staff were a bit snippy upon check-in but checkout manager was great.
This hotel has impressed us on every vist. We have stayed here for the past four years and always love it ! The breakfast is awesome and the staff are friendly and very accommodating. We especially like the shuttle service to the downtown, it is convenient and takes the worry out of getting home after enjoying the restaurants downtown.
Great place to stay! Very clean, comfortable and convenient! The staff is friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is tasty with lots of variety. The shuttle service around town was an added bonus, especially having Ron as a fun and friendly driver! Thanks for helping make the stay in Revelstoke enjoyable!
We have stayed here every summer for the past 5 years for an annual biking trip and have enjoyed our stay at the Best Western every time. The staff is friendly and helpful, rooms are clean, the beds are very comfortable, and they provide the best complimentary breakfast I have ever had. The free shuttle bus to downtown Revelstoke is an added bonus. Highly recommended!
Spent one night at this hotel and it was great. Good location, easy access, very modern, clean, quiet, good breakfast, and friendly staff. Our beds were on the softer side and we are used to a harder mattress. Reasonably priced. Highly recommend.
Never worry about anything to do with a stay here or the quality or services or staff. Did not require anything or anyones help as everything had been done right from the start. Kind of pricy for a fixed Canadian seniors pensions.
Fonderful place to stay in such a relatively remote location. Great service, really large room and great facilities. Hot tub, pool, food was exceptional. And shuttle service to downtown area if you disintegrated want to walk. Overall A+ experience.
I think this is a hotel I couldn't find anything wrong. Clean room, friendly stuff, good breakfast, and good location. We are on our way to Banff, perfect place as stop. Bathroom is in good condition and hot water.
From the front desk to the rooms, to the breakfast, everything is great! I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. The beds are some of the best I've ever slept in, and the place is very quiet. I look forward to my next stay there!
An absolute gem! The staff were amazing and went out of their way to solve a problem for us. The rooms were clean and comfortable. A lot of hotels offer free breakfast when you stay...This one was surely one of the best I've had. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. We ended up here by accident after a wind storm knocked out the power to the hotel we were supposed to stay in. Happy it did.
enjoyed my stay. the hotel was clean, beds and pillows are comfortable. internet is fast and good TV.. the hotel is within walking distance to restaurants also they offer a shuttle to a steak house. i plan to stay at this hotel again on my next trip..
We had a great stay at this hotel disputed there being a super freak wind storm in the area that knocked all the power out in the hotel for a good portion of the night. The beds were comfy, the breakfast was great, and during the storm and aftermath, the staff remained calm and on top of emergency procedures to keep everyone safe (lanterns in the stairwells).
If you're looking for a great place to stay in Revelstoke the BW+ is it. The breakfast options are fantastic, the hotel is very clean and modern and the rooms are quiet, clean and comfortable. We stay here every year!
We booked this hotel through a booking website- no refunds. Unfortunately due to an injury wrote to tell them we couldn't make it out of courtesy so they could sell the room on. Thanks to Brady, the general manager, he decided to refund us our stay. No quibbles and I want even asking for that so well done. We hope to be in the area next year, injury willing, and will definitely book with them thanks to their helpful attitude. Great job well done Al + Nicky
Good, clean, comfortable room. Good service. Our only (minor) complaint was that the bed was to high for my mother ( she's short and uses a walker ) to get into. She was able to sleep comfortably in the chair ( in all honesty she sleeps in a Lazyboy recliner at home ).
Everything is perfect and well-maintained! Check-in and check-out are both fast. There is a lot of parking spaces. Very closed to city centre. Really a good place to stay on a road trip to rocky mountain!
We have stayed here 2 times and were happy with both the rooms and service. Rooms were clean and comfortable and quiet. The pool and hot tubs were clean and nice too. Easy to access off the TransCanada highway. Breakfast was good too!
BW Plus is a very nice hotel to stay at when you are traveling through Revelstoke. Rooms are a good size, clean and comfy beds. Staff is friendly and helpful. My kids enjoy the outdoor pool and I enjoy the outdoor hot tubs!
We have stayed here 4 times in the past year, twice this month. The first stop last week was all very good. The second stop more recently was all about the details. I this case, the upgraded TV. Now I know that the beds and cleanliness are most important and the hotel hit these perfectly. The TV was an issue. Mounted flat against the wall with no possibility of adjusting to be viewed from anywhere but the bed. However, many people are not able to or want to sit on the bed to watch TV. Also the wires and control box with blinking green lights are visible underneath the TV. Great TV but with an adjustable mount this review would have been 5/5.
Stayed here to break up trip frim Edmonton AB to Vancouver BC. Important to note that Revelstoke is so much more than just a drive past on the highway. Great little shops and restaurants with patio/sidewalk seating so dog can sit with us or close by. Summer nights a whole street is blocked off and a stage is set up for live music. Hotel róom is large and comfortable with or without dog!! Turned a "pit stop" into a great part a of the holiday!! Price but you get what you pay for.
We enjoyed our stay, well worth the money.very nice hotel. We enjoyed the out door pool as well as the fast internet service. The front desk staff is amazing, they went out of our way to make our vacation experience extra special!!!
My family and I stayed in Revelstoke while we were exploring the national parks. Wow! This hotel was great! It felt and looked brand new. The room was a decent size and was very clean! The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was top notch! There is a variety of hot and cold options, and there is also a decent size room to sit down and eat. There are two outdoor hot tubs and a pool. There is also a liquor store right next to the hotel. All staff members were kind and courteous. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are in the area.
The hotel is in a very nice location at the end of town. Even though I'm pretty sure the hotel was sold out, we got a great nights sleep. The rooms are clean, large and spacious. Also a nice variety of foods on the breakfast buffet.
Room was clean and comfortable, bathrooms were spotless. Front desk staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast buffet was included but some of the items were old and cold like the eggs and kitchen staff were not very accommodating when we asked for fresh food. All in all it was a good stay...
The hotel was beautiful, looked like a high end hotel. Hot breakfast in the morning and cookies or muffins to go. Rooms are spacious and the hotel is located in a peaceful area of town. Would definitely stay there again.
This is probably the nicest hotel in the area. Convenient location, easy to find and the price we paid included a full continental. The pool is very small but an evening swim outside is nice if there's nobody else there....yes, it's a VERY small pool. :) Front desk staff were pleasant enough, not much else going on the service side. The room was very clean and the bed was comfy. We'd stay here again.
Front desk staff, especially Angela, were fantastic. The entire hotel seemed fairly new with contemporary design. Everything was in great condition. Room/bed/bathroom were all clean and great. Daily breakfast was excellent. Free laundry facilities. Loved having a liquor store attached to the hotel. I will definitely be staying here again!
The location is pricey - summer rates apparently Great room, great service, great included breakfast. Very clean Had comfortable bed, couch and chair with excellent TV Hotel has pool and hot tub. Breakfast had great options: eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, French Toast, all breads, cold cereals, plus, plus
Our pet friendly room was probably the best we've ever stayed in and was very clean, spacious, comfortable, and quiet. Two thumbs up for pet friendly flooring that's not carpet! We're thankful for a well-constructed building which meant very little outside noises alarmed our two Yorkies so they did not have the need to bark. The breakfast was fantastic after they replenished the food (when we first arrived to eat there was very little left and it was cold).
What a wonderful sleep I had! And the rest of our room was also excellent. Staff were warm and caring and you can't go wrong with a hotel that carries gluten free food. All you need to do is ask snd staff are more than happy to help.
Nice hotel, but quite highly priced for location, so I would say value is average given the price. Also, our request on the online reservation was ignored ( higher floor) and we had to request that this be changed on arrival. This was disappointing and the only hotel on our 10 day road trip ( all booked online ) where this request was completely ignored/overlooked.
We've used this Best Western about 4 times now. Every time has been a good experience. This time I decided to take the time to write a review as the front desk attendant went out of her way to help us. When we made the original booking, the BW site was having difficulties that made booking our room troublesome. The first night ended up booked as a single King bed when we booked a double Queen room. We're a family of 4, so a single King bed was not going to work for us and the hotel was entirely booked. The front desk attendant was very friendly and professional and switched our King room to a double queen without any issues. Great customer service at this location.
This is Best Western Plus Hotel and we stayed here 6 years ago and it was fantastic. How times change. Receptionist couldn't understand two room one bill, didn't know the hotel had luggage racks for rooms that sort of difficult thing. The breakfast room was freezing and requests to turn the aircon off in cold weather was ignored. The food on offer for breakfast was not as described in the hotel's own literature at the hotel and staff there didn't even know not having seen the info put in the rooms. Waited 20 minutes for eggs at a time when there weren't may people in the room. There no pastries ( croissants for instance ) at any time over two days and no cheese or ham either. All on the hotel's list of breakfast items. I contacted the hotel without receiving any satisfactory explanation,in fact denying what I was telling them was true. Before booking I looked at this hotel on tripadvisor and saw there was no mention of breakfast, and put in a question. A reply appeared from the manager saying there was a free generous breakfast at his hotel. Not sure what his idea of that is. Compared with the Best Western at nearby Golden, which I rated as excellent in every way, especially the breakfast, I would say Revelstoke is near the bottom of the list. Unless there has been a big improvement avoid it. One room was not serviced, but a different receptionist offered to do it as all cleaning staff had left.
I love this hotel, the staff are professional and friendly, it is very well run, looks lovely, comfortable, clean, great breakfast. What more can I say. We actually changed our plans on a long trip to Canada so we could stay again.
Excellent Hotel, Clean with a very comfortable bed Ladies on Front Desk (around 8:00 p.m. with no reservations bridge out on main highway) were extremely helpful. As we were traveling with a dog we needed a restaurant which at the best delivered or at leased provided take out. One of the staff recommended a place which was excellent.
Stayed one night on our trip to Lake Louise. Hotel was clean, comfortable beds and staff were helpful and knowledgeable on things to suggest to do. Location is just off the highway close to restaurants and gas stations. Would stay here again. We also had good views of the mountains on the side we stayed on
A nice property with great staff. My wife uses a wheelchair, and wheelchair access rooms were well designed. Cindy, at the front desk, was very helpful - and everyone else really nice as well. Very well prepared breakfast, with healthy choices and actual well cooked eggs instead of instant scramble. Pool didn't have a wheelchair lift, but both hot tubs have raised edges which made them accessible. Available bike rental was great for Revelstoke. We rerouted our long drive trip and returned for 2 extra days here....
This looks like a newly-built hotel externally and that perception extends to the reception , rooms & facilities. The check-in was friendly, with great staff. The room itself was one of the largest we have stayed in with a suite area and a great view of Mount Revelstoke from our bed! The spa facilities and pool were clean and hot and given the weather we had endured for the past 5 days, this was welcome. One thing I should mention is that there is a free laundry, and this is the first time I have come across this. Yes, you have to buy a soap tablet from the on-site liquor store but the machines costs are nada; a quantum leap from the usual $5 for a wash & tumble dry. The breakfast was comprehensive with hot options and a different slant on the usual fare with scrambled egg and cheese, & honey-coated sausages. There is a local, walkable-to Denny's and I had forgotten how good the food is from here (last Denny's was breakfast in Fisherman's Wharf in 2016).
First off, this is probably legitimately the best hotel in Revelstoke. It looks brand-new and is super clean. Like, you could feel how clean the room was; aggressively clean. Anyway. I reserved through the 1-800 number and they got a lot of my personal details wrong which meant I had to call back to get my confirmation. I'm not sure if I got the CAA rate they quoted or not because I don't have an invoice and will need to call again. As I said, very new looking, very clean. Onsite liquor/convenience store. Really nice room with some good views. I just wish they had an onsite kitchen for room service. There was a continental breakfast included but it was pretty shabby. I ended up having cereal rather than wait for hot items (not that they looked particularly appetizing). The price was around $230 which is about what you can pay to stay at the Fairmont Palliser or Hotel MacDonald. The BW Plus Revelstoke is nice and all, but it's no Fairmont. Again, probably the best hotel in Revelstoke but I'm sure a comparable experience can be had for less money.
Came here last month for a hiking trip with friends, had stayed here before but felt compelled to write a review this time. Rooms are great, modern and very clean. Front desk was very helpful and informative about Revelstoke. There's a liquor store in the same building (always a plus) and the breakfast top notch. Of all the BW's I've been to, this one tops the list, clean, comfy and modern and a great location. However, the only downfall was the manager (dark haired woman, Donna I believe) was quite rude. The way she spoke to her staff was rather petty and condescending, I felt awful for them. They were doing a fine job and to chastise them in front of guests was wrong. Excellent hotel in beautiful setting, staff were friendly and helpful and everything was exceptionally clean. Our room was very comfortable and spacious, breakfast was beautifully presented and was fresh and delicious
Revelstoke is a great place to stop overnight while on the Trans Canada Highway. The Best Western Plus is a quiet and restful stay. Revelstoke has superior restaurants, a friendly and quaint downtown, and the Railway Museum is a must for history buffs.
Very nice lobby when you enter through the front doors ... The absolute best complimentary breakfast at this specific Best Western property ... Staff were very professional and polite ... Over all, very good accommodations ... $$$$
What a wonderful surprise upon arriving! Brand new, beautiful decor, lots and lots of dining space for the awesome, above average breakfast, super clean everywhere and the beds are beyond comfortable!
Used this hotel a couple of times now. The rooms are clean and fresh. Hotel is modern and up to date in all of its amenities Swimming pool and two hot tubs. Good spread for morning hot breakfast Staff are knowledgeable about events and places of interest in the area
The beast western Revelstoke is a a new hotel that has a killer hot tub, a really good complimentary breakfast, and right off the highway. The beds were super comfy, hides TVs in the rooms and the staff are really nice and helpful.
We stayed here for 1 night when we were in town for soccer. Would definately recommend as the hotel has a modern up to date decor, is clean, comfortable beds, good size rooms with fridge, desk and reading area (chair and lamp). The best part is the buffet breakfast that was included and makes staying here of value.
The Hotel is nice enough rooms are clean. Revelstoke is a wonderful community the people are friendly lots to do with nature. Bring a heavy wallet if you plan on staying. Most of the Hotels are very expensive. They jack up the prices knowing full well most people are just passing through. Golden is the same great town great skiing. There is the odd mom and dad operation that's cheaper but not the same quality as the big hotels in both city's. If your heading west stop in Sicamous its only 72kms away from Revelstoke, or Salmon Arm. on the east side I'm not to sure? Alberta?
We typically stop in Revelstoke on way to Alberta from the coast and decided to try the BW+ based on Trip Advisor reviews. The hotel appears to be relatively new and was immaculate. The room was very well appointed and decor very pleasing. The location is a free shuttle ride from downtown (5 min) and there is no restaurant or bar in the restaurant. Breakfast is supplied, self-serve, buffet style and it was excellent. Will definitely use the BW+ as our stopover in the future!!
We stayed here as we were in town for a soccer tournament. We also had brought our little dog. The room was very clean and no odors! They even had dog dishes in the room. Nice and quiet. It is also was a great place for our team to stay together, played in the pool and such a wonderful breakfast. Definitely worth staying there. This is where I will stay when we visit again.
Late arrival, met with friendly and helpful staff.. Clean and very comfortable room. Very quiet which was much appreciated. Good selection of hot and cold breakfast items. I always choose Best Western when travelling and am not disappointed.
The free breakfast had absolutely everything we love & the staff allowed us to check into our room earlier than the check-in time. We were also allowed to check out a day early without being charged or penalized.
I stayed room 223 at this Hotel. It was too noisy and shaking the bed because this room was located right above the Machine room. I didn't realize until I went to bed because I was sitting on the sofa and watching a TV. I called front after 11PM "It can't be happen but I'll check" he said. Waited over an half hour but no answer, called them again. "Yes, there is an noise, nothing we can do. I can give you another room if you want." without any apologize What a poor service! He noticed that there was an issue but he just left me with nothing.
Only a few blocks from H/W #1 the hotel there was NO highway noise as you would normally hear near a major highway. There are allot of places to have a wonderful dinner or lunch after hours of driving. The breakfast area is really well decorated as far as decor. I'd love to have a stone wall like the hotel has. the BW Plus Revelstoke is my next stay the next time we stay in Revelstoke.
The service was excellent and the location is great. The shuttle to town was very easy to access and convenient. I only have 112 characters and this review is supposed to be 200 so this last runon sentence is added for your reading pleasure.
For a more newer, fancier and modern hotel, this was an excellent choice. Very comfortable staying here. No worries. Very clean and fresh. Free wifi and parking. Plus many little features that make it the worry free place to stay. And hands down, best continental breakfast anywhere...if the room rate is higher then other places, you can more then make up for it at breakfast...easy a $40-$50 value
This is a gorgeous hotel! Front desk started off a great night. They were welcoming and friendly. The rooms are nicely appointed and clean and comfortable. Bathrooms large and the shower was large and clean. Breakfast in the morning offered fried eggs not scrambled and many other great choices. I would recommend a stay here!
Even though is a chain hotel, our stay was everything we needed, everything nice and clean, new, good decor, standard but very appealing, not to mention the huge hot tubs, the included breakfast and the convenience of being next door from Denny's which is the only restaurant open 24/7 in the area.
We were travelling thru Revelstoke the other day & decided to stay over night due to the beautiful weather. It was early afternoon & the day was brilliant. We usually stay at a certain great downtown hotel but this time we had a little dog with us. When we phoned they said that as it was the weekend the only pet rooms are above the bar & would be noisy. The woman on the desk recommended the BW +. I called them & they were most accommodating. The nice lady on the phone explained the process well as well as all the amenities. We checked in & everything she told us was true if not better. The pet rooms are on the main floor, private area to get in / out, wood floors & spill kits. The exit has dog waste bags. Water dish in the room. On a personal note the young lady & man at check in seemed to truly like dogs & made "Betty" super welcome. A nice bonus was the morning breakfast bar. Great start to the travel day ahead. We look forward to staying here in the future.
I stayed here on my return trip from Edmonton (to Vancouver). I did not have a reservation so took a flyer on staying here. Without a doubt the most comfortable bed I have slept on in a long time. That combined with the great pillows made for a terrific sleep. Have not been a huge fan of Best Westerns in the past, but if the other Best Western Plus are like this, I'll stay again.
We have stayed here many times. Excellent place. No complaints at all. Staff are pleasant and accommodating. Breakfasts are always super. When travelling through BC we try to arrange our timing so our overnight stay when travelling to the Okanagan is this Best Western.
Stay here overnight on the way to Kelowna. Our room was large and clean. You need to go into Revestoke for food. Hotels friendly and you're right next to the Hi Way that was closed due to road works. Recommended if you're on the go.
My mom and I were on a roadtrip to Vancouver island and got stuck in revelstoke as the roads were closed due to mudslides. The rooms were excellent. The beds were extremely comfortable with lovely sheets and linens. The hot breakfast was really good as well. The food was good and fresh and the staff helpful. We loved that they had glass plates cups and real cutlery helping with the environment. The staff was all excellent making sure everyone was aware the roads were closed prior to checking out. They were very accommodating and patient answering all questions and giving recommendations as to how to pass the time in town. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to everyone.
Enjoyed a relaxing night in the mountains, in a clean and comfortable space, after many hours of driving. Breakfast was fantastic as promised at our check-in. Fitness room was clean and functional. Outdoor Hot tub was a great touch.
This hotel is pricey but you get what you pay for: it's clean, comfortable and has a ton of amenities including laundry facilities. The breakfast, which is included, is excellent, as are the cookies provided at the reception desk. Very friendly staff.
I booked hotel through air miles when they were threatening to confiscate all old rewards. My plans did not materialize and I tried to change my reservation through Air Miles. They wanted an $80 change fee. I was a "no Show" at the Hotel. Too bad Western hotels has a relationship with the Air miles bandit
We stayed overnight en route to Kelowna. Two rooms, four people, two dogs. The rooms were attractive, with upscale decor, very clean and comfortable, and a good bathroom. There was plenty of room for our large dog, with a dog dish and treats a nice addition. The staff were particularly helpful and the breakfast included is good. As someone on a medically-required gluten free diet, I particularly appreciated the care the breakfast staff took to provide GF food not cross-contaminated by contact with gluten-containing foods.
Very friendly, helpful staff. The room was a lovely design and nicely furnished. So enjoyed the corner windows and view of the hills / mountains, beautiful. This is a well kept, very clean hotel. The out door got tubs are great.
Using the Trans Canada Highway, Revelstoke, BC is conveniently located midway between Vancouver, BC and Calgary AB. Our overnight stay in Revelstoke is most enjoyable, thanks to the good folks at Best Western Plus Revelstoke. The owners of this hotel also own a fantastic steak house in the town of Revelstoke, called "112 Restaurant & Lounge" so a discount coupon is offered at check-in. We take advantage of this opportunity every time we stay in Revelstoke.
The staff here were great. The room was clean and comfortable. I would stay here again. We stayed here for just one night, while passing through, but I have no complaints at all. We didn't stay for the breakfast, but it smelled great!
A very comfortable place to stay while in Revelstoke. Provides a very good breakfast, is clean and has quality beds. Front desk staff were very helpful. Good location and very quiet. Parking is included.
This is a great place to stay in Revelstoke. We booked a king room and was fabulous. Big room, super comfy bed and lots of pillows. Very nice couch for watching tv. Had a wonderful rain shower. Loved the outdoor hot tub. Great breakfast included in room price. Very clean property with friendly helpful staff. We will be back.
A new property in a very easy to access location. Staff are exceptional. Room was clean, comfortable with easy to operate HVAC. Breakfast items were somewhat limited as compared to other properties in this range, but were fresh and plentiful. Amenities were clean and enjoyable. You will not be disappointed if you book here.
Got us in on a late night walkin. Friendly front end staff very helpful. Clean rooms. Sheets were fully charged with static. But overall good rooms good TV. Good place to take a girl if your on budget. Good showers good bathrooms overall good experience good job BW
We arrived just after Christmas and spent New year at the Best Western a very friendly hotel with lovely helpful staff. Could it be better maybe a restaurant would have been nice as there is limited eating in Revelstoke from not great to excellent also some kind of room for drying ski equipment and storing would have been helpful this is going to be one of the future big ski resorts in North America/Canada so this would be a great place to stay .although the town seems to have a lot of history the real reason people will come is for the mountains around the area so a few more facilities would be nice in the town . Thanks for a pleasant stay
This hotel had very bright and clean hallways before you enter your clean and comfortable room with all the usual amenities for this price point of hotel. The nice and very worthwhile difference that ranked them beyond the rest was the hot buffet breakfast in the morning. We were not rushed in a larger than usual dining room where you aren't racing with others and fighting over the last banana or table to sit. ;-) Well thought out - kudos to the brains behind that decision.
It's easy to get in and out. Very convenient to stop in before departing to CMH lodges on the very next day. The rooms is one of the best places I ever stayed in Revelstoke other than the Regent Inn. You won't be sorry staying at the Best Western in Revelstoke.
Fantastic place to stay in Revelstoke! Hotel was very clean, modern, front desk staff were amazing, friendly and knowledgable about local restaurants and made great recommendations for our large group of 3 ski families. They even went out of their way to provide us space for a group pizza party - above and beyond!! The free shuttle to downtown was fantastic, safe and the parents certainly appreciated having a designated driver available to pick the group up! Hot tub area was clean, kids (and parents) loved the 2 separate spas! We will certainly be returning to Revelstoke and the Best Western!
If driving from east try to get here before dark. We drove the last 75 miles or so in the dark in a heavy rain on Trans-Canada Hwy 1, winding and heavily traveled by trucks descending. Not an easy drive if you're unfamiliar with this route as we were. Check-in at the hotel was a pleasant experience (we had reservations) and the room was clean and comfortable with easy access to the car from the exits at the back of the hotel. Beds were comfortable, the bathroom sparkling and the room quiet. The hotel only serves breakfast but there were several choices for dinner nearby. All the hotel staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The breakfast area is attended and kept well-stocked throughout the morning. This is a pet friendly hotel, a must for us as we were traveling with our dog.
We stayed here for two nights with a last minute reservation after our original hotel fell through and found a super cheap deal at the last minute. The hotel is slightly outside the main town centre but it was only a 3 min drive. The rooms were clean and well equipt and I found it hard to pick a fault with it!
Had a one night stay here with a late checkout and enjoyed every minute of it. It includes a shuttle service to the inner core, boasts a beautiful outdoor pool and, more importantly two outdoor hot tubs, and lastly, a liquor store is attached to it. Revelstoke is an amazing small town all on its own. The picturesque scenery surrounding the hotel make it the perfect outer town rim hotel: the best of both worlds.
Our stay at the Best Western Revelstoke has always been great. The hotel is super clean, the staff are super friendly and the rooms are nice. The pool and hot tub area are great. with the convenience of the hotel providing plastic cups to enjoy a beverage from the liquor store located at the hotel, is just the little things. The breakfast is probably the best I've had at a hotel. It does feel like you're being spoiled a bit.
Staff are great. eat across the road at the steak house or any of the fast food places. lots of parking. beer and wine store, hot tub, what could be better! Revelstoke is a pretty cool place if you spend some time there.
We were travelling from Whistler to Calgary and needed to rest overnight. This hotel had all the amenities plus was close to a great pub. The morning breakfast was great.it offered hot food and cold and had healthy choices. Two thumbs up
This hotel is one of our favorite stops while travelling. It is new, clean, modern and quiet. The breakfast is outstanding and is freshly cooked, not pre-packaged and warmed 'airplane food'. It is extremely comfortable and relaxing.
Booking this room was a nightmare, I actually asked the guy on the phone if it was too much for him I could book somewhere else. It took forever and seemed to be a huge effort for him. I think he was on the front desk when I arrived as there was a huge lineup and again the clerk took forever to check each person in. It almost seemed like he was intentionally going very slowly, but I think he just couldnt do much more. It was painful. The hotel is great, clean with good beds and they do a good breakfast spread.
We stopped in last minute as the Transcanada was closed. Staff were helpful and accommodating with information. Our room was very comfortable (linens, pillows, bedding) and clean. Nice view of the mountains. Buffet included in the room price; decent enough. the home made cookies at the front desk were tasty. Dinner at the sister hotel in downtown Revelstoke was very good.
Very comfortable and friendly hotel. Suite was spacious and very clean. Reasonable price and good value. Reception desk very helpful. We enjoyed our meal at the restaurant that they recommended and gave discount for.
Stayed at this Best Western Plus Sept 5th 2016 for one night, I found the place nice and clean. The beds were super comfortable, It was nice having the breakfast included so you could eat and be on your way. The check in and out was easy and the staff was great, Thank-you for a good night sleep.
The hotel and amenities are quite new and in good shape. The high speed internet was difficult to access and the front desk person didn't offer a solution so I eventually figured it out myself. Price is on the high side for value received. The on-line site is inaccurate as it shows a lower price for the same room than the CAA price m(hotel would not honour this).
I enjoyed a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were outstanding and looked after me very well. The room was very comfortable and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. The breakfast was good.
Cannot agree with recent reviews - this a Best Western PLUS - don't know what the PLUS is for - facilities are very limited, breakfast was passable at best. There is a small outdoor pool - no bar - no restaurant. Room was OK though. Fortunately there are a couple of places you can walk to to eat/drink quite nearby. Never saw the town shuttle. Definitely over-priced.
Along with the usual requirements needed in a hotel/motel, this particular BW has an outstanding heating/air conditioning system that really works. In addition, the windows can be opened a few inches thus providing superior air quality in the room. The fitness centre is also excellent.
Revelstoke is a small town with a handful of hotels. We decided to stay at the Best Western even though it was the most expensive. It was well worth it. This place seems to be fairly new. Everything is top notch, rooms are large with a refrigerator in the room. They have an in-door pool, laundry facilities and anything else you may need. The breakfast in the morning serves your typical cereals, muffins, etc and also a few hot dishes available. It was plenty for a quick bite before leaving. I would definitely stay here again.
My family and I stayed in a 2 double bed room for a quick one night stay. I have nothing to complain about! Even though we stayed on a Friday night we slept great! We couldn't hear a single sound the entire time. Check-in was very fast and the hotel has the "just renovated" smell/ look (how recently I don't know). The room was very clean and smelled nice and fresh. The outdoor swimming pool is still open (and heated enough to swim in) even at the beginning of October! The hot tub, however, was our favourite to unwind after a long drive. The breakfast the next morning was better than expected. It had waffle-makers, eggs, hashbrowns, sausages, yogurts, granola to make your own parfait, pastries, drinks etc. We went an hr before breakfast time finished and there was still plenty of food. It also had a shuttle that takes you into town, it was always parked and ready outside. We never used it but it's a plus. All in all, a great experience!
Not your normal Best Western- the interior of this 5yr old hotel is beautifully done with cedar finishings and local photos. The room we had was a king room and was very spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable!! The buffet was by far the best BW buffet we have ever had- with REAL eggs, REAL hash browns, and ham, it was a far cry from the usual shriveled up sausages or paper thin bacon you normally see. Our only "complaint" was that we found the air conditioner to be some what noisy..... We just turned it off and opened the window. Great stay!!
For travelers, the hotel is right off the main highway & is easy to find. It is clean comfortable & well maintained. Extras at the hotel that we found very helpful: Free parking, Laundry facilities, Swimming Pool, Nice breakfast area - good breakfast Shuttle to downtown Revelstoke. We highly recommend this hotel & a day or two stop in Revelstoke.
Went by previous reviews for this property and wasn't disappointed. Room was clean and great size, beds comfortable and room was quiet. Pool and hot tub area looked great. Breakfast area is nice as is lobby. looks like they also have free guest laundry (do your own) which is a nice offering. Room price was not that great compared to other places we have traveled to, but that is what we get in Canada. We would stay here again if required.
This hotel went way beyond our expectations and we were more than satisfied with our stay. The rooms were amazingly clean, the bathroom spotless. What a pleasure! We had a complimentary breakfast with many food options. Self-parking was free. We also noted several charging stations for electric cars which many people can appreciate. There was also and outdoor pool and hot tub, even though we did not have the opportunity to use it. The reception staff was very helpful and friendly. What a pleasure to stay in a new hotel that is perfectly maintained.
Newer, clean, well appointed Best Western with good breakfast and nice staff. Shuttle to "downtown Revelstoke" --all of 3 minutes away -- 4 Tesla charging stations, if that's your thing... Not really great views......for some reason I thought you'd be able to see the river, but not so much.
A planned nightly stop while on vacation turned out to be a good call. Hotel staff was efficient and professional in checking us in. Room was modern, clean and very comfortable as was the rest of the hotel. Great choice if you're in the area.
This is a clean modern hotel with good facilities and service. The location is on the other side of the highway away from the the centre of the town. However the hotel provides an efficient and friendly shuttle service to help guests access all the restaurants etc in the town. Walking into the town would be feasible but with some road construction going on in the town we thought the shuttle was a good option. The room was modern, spacious and well fitted out. The wifi was free and fast. Parking was easy. There is a gym which is a fairly standard sort of hotel gym, which is good because the running options seem limited in the area - without going up the mountain. The breakfast area worked well and there was a good selection of options available and the staff seemed to be working hard to keep everything clean and stocked. I'm not sure what I was expecting but the hotel exceeded it and it was a good stay - I'd happily go back again.
Stayed at this hotel for one night on a recent trip to Canada. Hotel was modern , rooms large and comfortable, the staff very efficient and helpful. The hotel has a large restaurant with stunning views but unfortunately is only open for breakfast. There are some good restaurants within walking distance. Overall a good hotel to enjoy a nights rest.
History: Built and opened in 2011 Location: West side of Revelstoke with direct access to Canada's national transcontinental highway 1 Interior Decor: Updated appearance of the lobby/lounge for 21st century look. Guest room also look good. Guest room is not well lit with lights (though sunshine comes in well) Exterior Apperance: Newer style/logo Best Western. West end of the city in commercialized area. Outside view from the room I stayed at (307): Sandman Motel, parking lot, highway 1, mountains; slightly better than average Internet: Reliable, stable and fast connection. Room Size: Approximately 40 square meters. Adequate studio suite. Room Cleanness: Very well maintained. Spotlessly clean. Bathroom: Very well maintained. Spotlessly clean. Spacious size. Shower only - no bathtub. Noise Insulation: Noisy guests in the hallway; paper thin walls. Price and Value: Reasonable, considering the hotel's amenities and reaonable distance to outdoor recreational opportunities. Bed: King size. Mattress too soft. Parking: No charge. Parked near the hotel entrance. Services: Good complimentary breakfast food selections. Others: Self serve laundry - free wash/dry. Liquor store attached to the hotel.
Always opt to stay at the Best Western Revelstoke... modern and spotlessly clean interior with great perks like outdoor hot tub and complimentary breakfast!!! Great, friendly staff...this is the tops for this town!!! You will not be disappointed!!!
We overnighted here with our pet and were delighted with how clean, modern and welcoming the hotel is. I wouldn't look any further. Bright, airy rooms, comfortable beds, welcome package for puppy, friendly staff. Don't overthink it; just book it!
This appears to be a new property and as such everything is quite nice. The rooms are large, very clean, and the beds are very comfortable. Breakfast was included and was good. The rooms have large flat screen TV's, cable, and free wi-fi. The hotel was quiet and the staff was very friendly. Good value!
We used the Hotel Tonight app to book a 1 bed room day-of, and we weren't disappointed! We got an executive king room on the 4th floor corner. Huge room with a couch and chair, huge windows, huge TV. Nice walk in shower and lots of counter space in the bathroom. Wooden ceiling above the bed, the doors are wood and there are wooden accents around the hotel, very nice. Would recommend this place to anyone!
We had a wonderful overnight stop and were sad to leave the hotel. Modern and room was very well equipped with two excellent outdoor spa's and a pool. Linked to a Liquor Store which was useful and good breakfast. A short drive to downtown Revelstoke but a free shuttle is provided by the hotel. Good hotel and recommended
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was quite clean and the beds were very comfortable. They have a great hot breakfast. They were not making the kind of Eggs that I prefer to eat , the staff member personally made me scrambled eggs and brought them to my table. We will definitely stay at this hotel again if we are in the area.
because they have a free (very sleek/modern/clean) laundry room, the other half made me promise to give them a four bubble! It is a very nice Best Western with a new feel and modern look - well kept up! A nice outdoor pool set up with two different (temp) whirlpools and a decent size swimming pool. We had a corner king suite (?) room that was clean, large and had pretty good sunset views (could also see the pool area...). The standard BW breakfast was a little more than standard - it was pretty good actually - they had some great muffins! Kristen got us checked in quickly and made a solid dining suggestion with the Village Idiot. Erik was very helpful in tending to my coffee addiction.
The hotel was great! We used miles to book though, as it's unlikely we would spend $250 on a hotel room for just the 2 of us. If you are rich enough to afford this price, or just want to splurge it is a great hotel and I'm sure worth the money. The beds were amazing and the breakfast was good. We were able to buy our tickets for the mountain coaster here saving some time and money. There is no restaurant on site and it isn't very close to downtown for other choices, but there is a shuttle that runs all night making those a non-issue. We walked to town (takes about 30min) and took the shuttle back.
We were on a roadtrip and decided to stay in Revelstoke for the night. We had stayed in a few other Best Western's during our trip and this was by far the best! The room was clean, beds were comfy and the breakfast had a great selection. We enjoyed the 2 hot tubs outside (but didn't use the pool as it was too cold out). The only complaint would be the curtains in our room. The darker curtains did not close all the way and we were on the bottom floor (facing the parking lot). There were bright lights outside keeping our room lit up (and it felt like we had less privacy as I'm sure people could see through the shear curtains) I had to ask the front desk staff for some binder clips to pin the curtains together so we could get some sleep. So if you need a dark room, bring an eye mask or make sure your room has curtains that close all the way.
Great hotel, great location. Very fine outdoor pool could have been better with a pool service or at least a restaurant. Very nice on a hot sunny day after 5 hour drive. Complimentary shuttle downtown where we shopped and ate before shuttling back. Excellent breakfast room. Cold beer and wine store in hotel too. A little on the pricy side but worth paying extra for us. We will return!
My wife and I booked this room as a stop over on our way to Banff, but now I'm thinking that it's more of a destination. This is an excellent hotel, the rooms are spacious, very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly, helpful and detail oriented. Overall it was an excellent experience.
Great hotel. Beds were really comfortable, the rooms spacious and clean. Complimentary breakfast, complimentary shuttle bus running into town until 10pm and free use of the Laundry. Would definitely recommend!
Had an excellent one night stay in this hotel. It's modern with large rooms, very clean, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The Best Western pairs up with another hotel in the area which has a high-end restaurant attached. They run a free shuttle between the two hotels which means is very easy to get to the restaurant at night. The shuttle driver was a really friendly guy who pointed out local sights on the way. Would definitely stay here again if we're ever in the area.
This is a great hotel. In a nice location close to downtown (they have a free shuttle downtown if you don't want to walk). There is a beautiful walking trail that follows the river right next to the hotel. Very clean, comfortable, friendly staff. A bit pricey though.
The staff work hard to keep the hotel clean and it's by far one of the cleanest we've stayed in. It's the nicest Best Western we've stayed in as well and without hesitation, nicer than many 4 star hotels we've stayed in because of the attention to detail: The pool is clean and heated with two hot tubs. Complimentary breakfast is really great and they offer gluten free muffins, bread and chex cereal. There is no restaurant on site, but to make up for that they offer a free shuttle to a local restaurant with 10% off meals. Definitely great value for the money and we'd stay here again any time
What an surprise! Great staff, on site shop, alcohol, chips and soda, Free transport to town, free wifi and great breakfast, the best stay in town. Make sure you add this hotel to your overnight stay list when visiting Ravelstoke!
We stayed at the Revelstoke Best Western for three nights recently on our tour across BC and Alberta, and I can honestly say that, pound for pound, it was the best hotel on the trip. It is relatively new, which shows, as the decor and everything else in the hotel is in pristine condition. We booked a room with two queen beds for a bit more room, and the layout of the room was excellent. There was lots of room, a good desk and seating area, and an excellent bathroom. We had a lovely view of the mountains from our window. The beds were very comfy, the shower was great, and breakfast was superb, with plenty of tables in a well laid-out spacious restaurant. The desk staff were also excellent. Around the hotel is a gas station / convenience store, several restaurants, and there is a liqour store next to the hotel. All in all a superb hotel for a stay in this great little town. Very highly recommended, and we would definitely stay there again on future trips. There is also a shuttle bus to and from downtown if you can't manage the walk.
We've wanted to try this Best Western for a while. Glad we did as it's a great place to spend an evening. The beds are fantastic and the staff are great. The morning breakfast is a full on affair and they'll help if you have any allergies. You won't be disappointed.
The room is rather new and clean except the smell when it rained for an extended time. We got a disable-friendly room so the bathroom was spacious. The breakfast was nice and well-stocked. Friendly staff. Has charging station for Tesla.
We spent one night here and it was great. The room was large and clean. The pool was lovely. The free breakfast in the morning was delicious, scrambled eggs, potatoes, ham, fruit, cereal, waffles...couldn't ask for better. Would definitely stay here again. I thoroughly recommend this hotel.
I can't say enough GREAT things about this BW. After leaving the BW in Canmore; I was able to book here on points through the Reservation line. and i was not disappointed. From the helpful and quick check in staff; ample parking the stalls are wide enough for a truck to open doors; to the huge bedroom and bathroom, comfy beds and oversized pillows, 2 hot tubs and a pool, to the views of Mount Begbie. Most important; the breakfast and the very good coffee. Perfect way to start a day. If you need to stay somewhere just off the highway, by a gas station and a liquor store this is the place.
We stayed here on vacation for our anniversary. Our destination was to see Mt. Begbie, Revelstoke, and Glacier Park. We were not disappointed in our choice of this hotel. It is in a quiet part of town, and easy to find. Close to the Thompson River, we had a room which had a beautiful view of the mountains. The breakfast was great.
Room was clean. Bed and linens were great. Breakfast selection was good and was topped up often,so we did not have to go some where else to fill up. Pool and amenities were well kept. Good supply of parking spaces. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone who needs a great bed etc for travel.
Stopped in en route to Calgary from the Coast for the night. Room was pricey. The whole place was clean and the breakfast was great. The hotel staff were less than friendly. Also, the alarm in our room went off twice at 6am in the morning. When I brought it to the staff's attention at checkout, the rep just said "Oh, we'll write that down." No apology or acknowledgement of how disruptive that kind of thing is. It should be on the checklist for a room turnover (ie: check the alarm clock). Won't be back.
Hotel is overpriced, Revelstoke BC is a natural stop over point for travellers, thus the overcharge situation. I could use a Best Western facility in most major cities for less than I did here. Room was not ready at agreed upon check-in time of 3:00PM, had to wait until 4:30 PM to gain access to the room.
Nice hotel let down by very poor management. Arrived a few minutes before 3pm ( check in time) to be told room was not ready and would be another hour. We should have argued then but gave them the benefit of the doubt and sat down in reception with a cup of coffee. Seeing others come in after us, and get rooms, we enquired again after ours, but still another hour to wait. Eventually the kindly English receptionist took pity on us and tried to solve the situation, albeit without any sign of management help. We were finally given a slightly better, available, room. To my mind the lack of room at check in was their issue, not ours, and we should have been upgraded to an available room as soon as check in time passed. One star for checking but the room itself was probable worth 4 stars.
Stayed at the Best Western Plus in Revelstoke. It was an unplanned stay and was fortunate enough to get a room here. Room was very clean & the beds were super comfortable. The outdoor pool area was very nice and the hot tubs just what we needed after a long drive. Breakfast was good and lots of choices.
Visited with family, we had three rooms. The beds are extremely comfortable and the rooms have a small lounge area with couch and table. The decor is modern and clean. Pool is a nice touch but on a hot August afternoon the pool was packed. We visited downtown and enjoyed the evening music on Main Street as well as the unique stores.
Very nice BW with very friendly staff. Were on a long road trip visiting 3 national parks/monuments in the US and 6 national parks in Canada and Mt Revelstoke was our last Canadian park. Were very happy to find a nice BW right there in Revelstoke.
While we were only stopping through in Revelstoke, We could of stayed another night or two easily. The room was massive. The bed was very comfortable. Our back yard was the mountains and the locals welcomed us with open arms. Staff at this hotel were very helpful. The free, hot breakfast was actually one of the best meals we had on the trip! Thanks for letting us stop through on our way through the Rockies!
A little upscale Best Western, a little pricey compared to other locations but a nice room. No restaurants close by but they offered a downtown shuttle. Morning breakfast was what you expect at most Best Western locations, ok but nothing special. Rated it a 4 but would have been 3-1/2 if rating was available. Primarily due the higher cost for a pretty typical Best Western.
Very nice and new. Great location close to downtown Revelstoke. Rooms are very well apointed. For people traveling pets they have rooms on the ground floor to accomodate easy outdoor access and provide a treat box on check in, nice touch.
This Best Western is a very quiet hotel to stay at and is barely off a very busy highway. They did not disappoint in the quality of bed, bedding and towels. Room was very spacious for two. There is a pool -- although an outdoor pool. Breakfast is provided -- both hot and cold items available. We stayed two nights --- as we wanted to attend the Summer Street Festival at Grizzly Plaza (all summer long from 6 to 9:30 p.m.) and the front desk staff informed us with a wonderful suprise --- they have a shuttle to & from the hotel to the Plaza area!! All the accomodations are rather expensive in Revelstoke, but we felt like we got a good value for the dollars spent.
How does this hotel stand out from others of this type? Answer: 1) Very clean and up to date décor. 2) Friendly and helpful staff 3) Outdoor swimming pool (FINALLY) which was fantastic for our summer vacation. 4) The complimentary breakfast which uses glass cups and plates rather than paper plates and cups. Made you feel like you were more at a buffet restaurant.
LOVE this hotel. Tucked in by the river just off the highway with mountain views... a surprisingly quiet location. I was given a doggie gift pac on arrival and my dog-friendly room had a wood laminate floor - nice touches for those traveling with pets. Room was very spacious, nicely decorated (as was the whole hotel), super comfortable beds, large wall mounted tv, air con worked great and room was very quiet for a good nights sleep. Nice outdoor patio area with a small pool and 2 hot tubs. Very tasty hot & cold free breakfast. I would definitely recommend this hotel and it is now my 'go to' hotel in Revelstoke when travelling through the Rockies.
Coming back from the Okanagan valley, this hotel is excellent to break the trip in half. It is freshly renovated hotel, great rooms, breakfast is included and has a great variety of items. the hot tubs and pool are quite enjoyable after a day of driving.
Provides a good night's sleep after long hours on the Trans Canadian Highway. Busy, with lots of families and kids. The free but limited laundry(two washers, two dryers) was a nice perk. Rooms large, quiet but bathrooms a bit dated. Very typical continental breakfast. The free shuttle to town was a pleasant surprise - friendly driver takes you to and from the center of town.
We stayed here for only one night (unfortunately) on our way home from over taxed very expensive Vancouver. Not going back there for a long time. Absolutely everything was terrific. Friendly front counter staff, beautiful big clean room (number 127), a great breakfast with real plates (Revelstoke wins the battle of the Best Westerns with Kamloops) I wouldn't change a thing. By the way they run a shuttle to a restaurant down town called 112; take the bus, go to the restaurant, it is superb! The friendliest serving staff I have ever encountered. Then walk home, it is 2.5 KM, takes about 30 minutes or less. Would I stay here again? Of course Would I recommend it to frineds? Already have
This is a very nice hotel; room is fantastic for the three of us, very comfortable beds. The staff are very delightful and helpful. The complimentary breakfast is just amazing;fresh and tasty. Very clean and well kept hotel, the best place to stay in revelstoke.
Stayed here for 2 nights during our road trip. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. We had a King room which had a sitting area. The room was spacious and had a microwave and fridge. The big bed was very comfortable and the bathroom clean and of a good size. All of the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfasts were very good. Lots of choice- cooked foods, waffles, breads, muffins, bagels, fruit, yogurts etc etc. Didn't try the cooked selection but the other choices were very good. There was tea, coffee and hot chocolate available 24/7 in the lobby as well as a coffee machine in the bedroom. The pool and hot tubs outside were well used during our stay and poolside towels were plentiful. The hotel also provided a complimentary washer and dryer, a nice touch! Although this hotel was a good walk from downtown they did have a free shuttle into town which we used one night and walked back ( you could ring for them to pick you up.) All in all, a modern, clean hotel which I wouldn't hesitate in booking again if we are ever in Canada again.
Stylish, clean, comfy, and friendly with all the amenities we needed(wifi microwave, frig, etc. ). Enjoyed the pool/hot tubs and nice breakfast . Knowledgeable , polite staff. Would definitely stay again!
The Hotel is great!!! It's clean and has lots of amenities. From 2 hot tubs to free washers and dryers, extremely handy! There's a liquor store attached just in case you wanted something for your hot tub time or something to sip on after a long day. Breakfast was good lots of options. Also most importantly everything was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because the staff at the front desk were snobby. It's not the Ritz Carlton! They said at least 5 times to people that it's the most expensive place in town as a badge of honour. I don't really know if that's something you should brag about. With that said it's worth an extra few bucks to stay there.
Very clean. Bed was quite comfortable- best sleep I've had at a hotel in a long time. Room was big. Breakfast buffet was always busy but the food was good. Front desk staff were very helpful. Bike rental on premise was a nice feature.
Clean and spacious room. Comfortable bed! Efficient front desk staff easy check in and out . Lots of choice for good breakfast. Very pleasant stay! Take a drive downtown and have a nice walk around. Some history here makes for an interesting time
It's perfect for a family it has a pool and 2 hot tubs, the rooms are nice, you can tell its a newer hotel. The only thing that we didn't like was the breakfast they had no bacon, the sausages were under cooked and they were out of waffle batter. Great hotel but I wouldn't have the breakfast.
This is a great hotel for families. There's a nice, good sized outdoor pool and two hot tubs (one set at 102 degrees and the other at 104 degrees. The cooler of the two hot tubs is really big too and fits probably 10 to 12 people. It was never full when we went. The breakfast is really good too. There's a make your own waffle station, as well as cheesy scrambled eggs, hashbrowns and breakfast meat that rotates. We had sausage and ham during our stay. You can also choose fruit, yogurt, granola, oatmeal, toast and pastries, hard boiled eggs, juice, tea and coffee. There was at least one tour group there the same time as us, so breakfast can get a little crowded, but we didn't have to wait for a seat. There's a deck by the pool you can take you breakfast to as well. You can purchase tickets for the Pipe Coaster at the front desk at a discount too ($5 off the ticket window cost). The hotel's location is about 5 minutes from the downtown, located on the other side of the highway (away from downtown) but there's a free shuttle into town that leaves approximately every 15 minutes. It takes you to its sister hotel, the Regent downtown. Very convenient. The staff are friendly and helpful and our room was a good size for our family of four. Mini-fridge and microwave included, along with coffee and tea for the room. There's lots of free parking outside the hotel and also a liquor store attached that sells snacks and ice cream too. I think the hotel is fairly new but if it isn't, it sure looks like it. Maybe it was renovated recently. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Revelstoke. I would also highly recommend riding the Pipe Coaster too.
This is a nice, clean, new looking hotel with an outdoor pool and hot tub. My husband and I stayed with our 4 month old son just for one night. It has free breakfast which was good and it was well staffed and well stocked. The staff were pleasant and I have no complaints. We stayed in a room with 2 queen beds for $293.00 CAD which is what I thought was really expensive for a Best Western. It was on the long weekend so I assume you can get better pricing during a non-peak period. This hotel is definitely for families. Lots of them! But I would stay there again with my family.
We had a nice spacious King Suite with a separate seating area rather than a separate bedroom in this modern hotel. Free laundrette was a nice touch. No restaurant but a Denny's next door was ok for our one night stay.
We stayed here for 2 nights the hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. The pool was nice and there's 2 hot tubs. The exercise room is big and has clean new equipment. We had a complimentary breakfast which was eggs/sausage or bacon/hash browns/ waffles/fruit/cereal/yogurt/toast/coffee and tea. The food was good. I would definitely come back.
This new hotel has become our favourite place to stop during our travels through the spectacular Rocky Mountains. The hotel is modern with upgraded decor inside and out, has friendly and efficient staff and service and a great breakfast. We have recommended it to our friends and family who travel through Revelstoke.
Wonderful location. Great, caring staff. Rooms were clean and spacious. This hotel offers the best breakfast i have ever had at a hotel. We did find it a little pricey but i suppose it is in line with other hotels in the area. Will definitely be back!
This hotel was a great surprise!!! New'ish Best Western right off the #1 highway. Easy to get to, close to gas stations, main highways (but no noise!), and for easy quick dining there is a Denny's on the other side of the lot or a Tim's and McD across the highway. We were very happy with this hotel - nice lobby and great service when checking in. They were able to get us two connecting rooms and allowed early check in. Rooms: Had handy amenities like mini fridge and microwave Hard flooring throughout the rooms on first floor (This is also great for the germ-a-phobes like myself who like to see the cleanliness.) Wall mounted TV which leaves lots of room for luggage Beds were firm but comfy Pillows are a bit large - fluffy but firm (maybe too large for some tastes) Of interest to anyone with a camper or sled trailer - huge parking lot; lots of room to turn/get around. Also there are electrical charging stations if you happen to drive an electric car. Other notes: Free wifi Great pool & 2 hot tubs (outdoor) Free breakfast - full spread of cereals, waffles, bagels, toast, yogurt, sausage, eggs, coffee, tea Shuttle service - they offered shuttle to/from local restaurants and also offered us a ride after the wedding we were attending (didn't use the shuttle but the offer was nice! A group of us attending a family wedding, they offered the shuttle for pick-up in case some wanted to drink.) Overall we were very happy with this hotel - fabulous service, clean and nice amenities. Staff were great at check-in, filling requests and wonderful (and cheery!) at breakfast. We will be staying again!
Very nice Hotel Staff were very helpful and our request for a quiet room was taken into account. Dinner is available but not onsite. They provide a free shuttle service to a restaurant in town where we had a fantastic dinner and then they contacted the shuttle to collect us to return to the motel. Breakfast was great - they even provide muffins "to go"
Two teenagers and one adult. Our stay was amazing. Very helpful staff. Facilities are very clean,up to date and well appointed. Our room was on the ground floor, close to the pool and fitness centre. There was free laundry for our use. The breakfast was amazing and plentiful.
We have stayed at this hotel several times and I can say that we have not been disappointed yet. The rooms are very clean and quiet, their service is great and always friendly..they offer ride service to downtown Revelstoke. The pool and hot tubs are awesome and free breakfast included is fantastic. We will keep coming back.
Very nice hotel - brand new (4 years old) friendly staff - one of the better breakfasts the beds were super comfortable conveniently located to all the amenities they even offered free shuttle service
We stayed for one night in July 2016. Customer service was top notch. The rooms are very nicely decorated and comfortable. The air conditioning worked wonderfully. The beds were comfy. Within walking distance to restaurants (avoid Denny's as my son was served a raw, not undercooked, hamburger and the server was not surprised and said it was not the first time it had happened that day). Outdoor pool and hot tub, which was a bit disappointing because although it was July, it wasn't warm enough to use. The complimentary breakfast was very nice. Warm items like eggs, bacon and waffles along with cold items like cereals, muffins, breads, fruits and yogurts. Juice and coffee were included as well. Staff keep the eatery clean and well stocked. I would stay here again, but may also check to see if there are hotels with indoor pools in Revelstoke.
When my friends and I first arrived we requested rooms on the 3 and 4 floors. The lady at the front desk was very rude when she told us that she couldn't do it, eventhough we requested these floors in advance when we booked. There was definitely no service with a smile. However, besides the loud thumping of the individuals on the floor above us, the room was very nice. Everything was kept clean and tidy.
Stayed for two nights. Nice comfortable and clean room. Outdoor pool and two hot tubs. Appreciated the morning buffet. Love those waffles. Good value for a family. Even have bicycles to rent and discounts on the new pipe coaster. 3 rides for 2.
Our plan was to stop in Revelstoke for a few days on a quick trip through B.C.. We had booked in advance and checking in was fast and efficient. It is very convenient to have a small store connected to the lobby. The rooms are nice. Our room faced the swimming pool and parking lot. I would ask for a quieter room next time. Before going out for dinner and looking around town, the power for the hotel and the entire town shut down. We were without power until about 11:30pm. We were told power outages were not unusual. I wonder how often this happens? We were looking forward to trying some restaurants. We made our visit short and left town early the next day.
Very comfortable and quiet. The heating/cooling systems is the best in any hotel that I have stayed at. NO STUFFY ROOMS! Breakfast was well presented and had lots of variety. And it was early enough for us to use during our athletic event.
Having been to this Best Western last year, staffing and room standards have been well kept. New to this hotel are several Tesla charging stations. During this stay, a power outage kept the city in the dark for several hours and fortunately we brought flashlights, as the hallway's emergency floodlights were not working. Surprisingly, the staff had our room ready and checked us in - in the dark! Our only regret is not tasting more of the amazingly well-made muffins that only this location seems to offer as a breakfast choice, as they ran out quickly without being replenished. We'll chock that up to the power outage, as the rest of the hot breakfast is still by far the best quality of any Best Western's we've stayed at. For a comfortable overnight stay, this hotel comes highly recommended.
Always a pleasure. Great value for families or couples. Breakfast is excellent and staff are so accommodating. Only place I stay in Revy, central to everything in a town that has so much to offer. Check out the Market.
A modern looking hotel on a side road off Highway 1. Ample parking outside. Good professional front desk / reception and airey well lit corridors and bedrooms. Stayed in a rear room overlooking the small pool (which closes at 10pm if I remember correctly). Adequate well staffed breakfast (though not personally a fan of the scrambled eggs produced) with proper crockery and cutlery. Was pleased to stay here and would suggest that the hotel is worthy of it's 'Plus' designation. Had been considering other hotels in Revelstoke for this one night stopover but would look to stay here again.
This is a really nice hotel. Relatively new and or recently renovated! Standard room is very large and we had fantastic views of the mountains. The entire grounds are kept seem to be kept very clean. Although we didn't swim, there is a decent size outdoor pool and two hot tubs! Also they offer a free shuttle bus that takes you downtown. You really can't go wrong choosing this hotel.
After a long drive from Regina in pouring rain, this hotel with its friendly staff, spotlessly clean rooms and delicious complimentary breakfast was like a beacon in the dark. Beds were also super comfy. Would highly recommend this hotel!
We only spent one evening here to break journey from Kelowna to Banff. Our room was a good size and very comfortable. The hotel has a heated outdoor pool and hot tubs which were well used. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was almost full when we were there and breakfast was very noisy. The self service breakfast was fine and regularly replenished. I was horrified at the amount of waste there was though. Never ceases to amaze me how people pile their plates up and then leave at least half of it! The hotel is slightly out of the town but a free shuttle bus runs in the evening into the town for restaurants. We used this and it was very efficient. The hotel worked well for us but we only here a short time. They do seem to cater for groups..
We stopped overnight with our 2 young grandchildren ages 5 and 8. The children enjoyed the pool and we enjoyed the view of the mountains. Our room was perfect, also had a mountain and pool view. We always stay at a Best Western if we can. The hotel is very new and the breakfast area is very spacious. Any type of breakfast for any diet. Great place to stay
We surely enjoyed our stay here. This was the first Best Western Plus we have booked and it makes us want to stay in this chain more often. The room was spacious and comfortable with every amenity, the breakfast was hearty (although they did run out of eggs pretty fast, it is very crowded), and the staff was very attentive. We used the shuttle to the downtown for dinner, but walked back in the pleasant evening air. No train noise, efficient A/C, good hot water in the tub and shower. I usually look for some improvement to suggest in my reviews, but the only two things I can think of are that the breakfast room was a bit overcooled, and the elevator was very slow. A great place to stay!
excellent room, amenities and breakfast. Grandchildren loved the pools. A bit pricey but we were staying during holiday season, I guess. The internet was quick and responsive. The location was far from the downtown area but accessible to the highway.
Clean, friendly place to stay within beautiful surroundings. Second time here and great experience both times. Nice breakfast and eating area. Comfortable bed and pillows, so much that we didn't want to get up and leave. Friendly staff, attentive to guests and any needs you might have including recommendations for sights and meals. Make sure to do the Pipe while you are there. It is a blast.
This is the newest and most definitely the nicest hotel in the Revelstoke area. Very friendly and helpful staff from the check in to the breakfast staff. All were excellent and professional. Very clean room and hotel in general. Located off the highway, we heard no traffic noise, only the train once. And that's not really a bad sound. It's all good! Stay here. Not the cheapest place but nothing good is in the summer busy season.
I always enjoy staying at Best Western Hotels, this one is new, staff are friendly and the air-conditioning is COLD, which I love and here I slept like a baby! This hotel is surrounded by mountains and the view is beautiful. It is located near trails that run beside the river, so you never have to drive to get a nice morning walk! The breakfast was well done! I would return again my next time to Revelstoke
Visited this hotel for a 1 night stay last night. Hotel is great. Looks almost brand new. Nice outdoor pool' big room, great breakfast, busy, but plenty of seating. A great choice for a stop in revelstoke
Enjoyed my stay at Best Western. This was my first time but I am planning to stay there on my way back from Kelowna. Got also discount because I am AMA member. Room and breakfast was great, helpful stuff.
The room was large, clean and comfortable. I really liked the charging station on the end table. Close to highway, next door to a gas station with a convenience store and more importantly, 3 minute walk to Denny's as the hotel has no restaurant. They did offer a shuttle to downtown.
This is a newly constructed hotel. Of course it's very nice with all new beds and facilities. Used the fitness center which had a nice equipment and weight machine. Hot tub was perfect and very clean. The staff was courteous. They provide a shuttle to downtown Revelstoke for your convenience. Breakfast was amazing with excellent selections.
Large, quiet and comfortable room. The hot tubs are outdoors with a nice view, they let you take alcohol to the pool area. The fitness room has lots of equipment. Lots of heavy dumbbells, two treadmills a spin bike, recumbent bike, elliptical and a few weight machines. Breakfast was awesome, not what I was expecting at all! There was fresh fried eggs, hashbrowns and bacon. Oatmeal with fixings, toast, cereal etc. Usually, at hotels the hot breakfast items are processed scrambled egg products and gross sausage patties. So, cudos to the breakfast cook for the real eggs! You can even take it to the outside patio, fantastic! If I had stayed longer, I would have rented a bike from the hotel. Different styles to choose from for only $5/day...can't beat that price ! They also have a free shuttle to take you to downtown starting at 6pm. Great hotel, nothing to complain about!
WOW... I have nothing negative to say about this wonderful property! It's very well priced and spotlessly clean with beautifully furnished common areas and guestrooms. It's a fairly new property and it has been beautifully designed with big windows and every room flooded with natural light, even the lift foyers! The outdoor pool area is delightful with lots of lovely greenery. There are two outdoor hot tubs (at different temperatures) and a pool. The outdoor areas were beautifully maintained and very nicely decorated. There's a fitness room (which hubby made use of while I preferred to soak in the hot tub) and a guest laundry both of which are fresh and clean. Our guest room was beautifully furnished, spotless and well appointed. Bathroom was spotless and bathroom amenities were of decent quality. Bed was one of the most comfortable we experienced while on a 3 week driving holiday through British Columbia and Alberta, and that includes some pretty high end hotels! The free breakfast was excellent! (Don't forget to tip these lovely ladies who do a wonderful job of keeping everything clean and well stocked during a busy breakfast period.) Staff at reception are well informed, friendly and efficient. Just LOVED this hotel and would recommend it without hesitation!!!
We stayed here for one night in a deluxe valley king room which was on the 4th floor and a corner room(419). The room was huge with a sitting area and view of the mountain. This hotel is the newest in Revelstoke and would highly recommend a stay here. Breakfast is included and there is a good choice, cereals, hot food including eggs, bacon and hash browns, breads, bagels and more. Slightly out of town but it is only a couple of minutes into town for the restaurants.
This hotel is well situated for a over night rest stop on the Trans Canada Highway and/or an extended stay in the Revelstoke area. As a Best Western Brand this property has clean, spacious and well appointed guest rooms. Great breakfast (included) and it's handy to have a convenience/liquor store with a lobby entrance.
This proved to be a convenient hotel while we were travelling by car. The staff were professional and the cost was very good value for what we received. The location best suits those travelling by car. I suggest you check the location before booking and before arrival (so you are aware of where it is in relation to Revelstoke).
As the title says, I can't say anything bad about this hotel. The front desk staff was efficient, friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean and well appointed. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. A great place to stay but I feel it was maybe too much to pay for a room considering I stayed in a one bedroom suite with a full kitchen the next night for the same price. This was in a different city, but not so far away. Maybe that's the going price in Revelstoke. Having said this, I'd rather pay a bit more for quality and service.
This hotel is beautiful! ! Reasonably priced and the desk girls are amazing!! Would definitely book here again! ! Many restaurants within a short distance! ! Breakfast was amazing and staff is so friendly! ! Would definitely stay here with any future visits! !
We arrived late after a long day of travel. Was so nice to enter such a nice lobby and even better to fall into such a comfortable bed. The only thing to top both of these was the breakfast in the morning! Bacon, eggs, hasbrowns... A great way to end our time there and start our day.
Friendly, helpful staff. New, large room with sitting area separated from sleeping area: excellent arrangement for couples when one is an early riser! Very quiet and comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was very nice; featuring delicious scrambled eggs with peppers and cheese. In addition, bottled water and granola bars were offered for 'on the road'. As we were riding a motorcycle, we were given a bike-cleaning kit, a lovely surprise. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience here.
We stayed here on a one night stop. Wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel was a gem. Near to the highway but no noise. The outside looks ordinary but once in the door it's pure quality. The biggest room I have ever stayed in. No kettle in our room if I have to find fault but that was not a problem as there was free beverage in the foyer. Very friendly staff.
Very enjoyable stay; pleasant staff and great accommodations! Complementary breakfast great! Swimming pool and hot tub looked appealing. Location very conenient - right off TCH. Will stay again for sure!
I stopped here on a motorcycle ride down towards Creston. I got motorcycle rate plus a gift since I was riding a bike they support. Room was excellent with even a I pod station and close to a Denny's restaurant!! Plus they had security camera's watching the parking lot. The complimentary breakfast was adequate for my needs.
Driving from Ontario I have stayed at numerous Best Westerns. This one is by far the best one I have stayed at. From the modern and spacious rooms (wooden floors for a pet friendly room-great planning, blackout curtains, comfy beds) to the delicious continental breakfast (Homemade breakfast potatoes, fried eggs and numerous other breakfast options) and finally to the friendly staff at the front desk. They were extremely welcoming at checkin and checkout and Kristin who went above and beyond to accommodate a special request. Next time I am in Revelstoke I will definitely be stopping here. Thanks again for the great stay! I also noticed electric car charging stations along the side of the hotel, very green!
Yes this is a great hotel and especially suited 3 adults for an overnight stay from Banff back to Vancouver. The interior hotel decor is so much better than we expected from the outside building design. Super sized room with lovely comfy beds. The pool was out of action, but I used the hot spa which was good. The only problem being it was evening time, I felt a little exposed when people walked by and could look in through the wrought iron gate. Maybe some misted glass screening would be better. Continental breakfast had lots of choice, but the hot was rather bland scrambled eggs etc. Otherwise a very good overnighter for us.
Stayed here for just one night on a trip over the Rockies. Nice room with lots of space and clean. Comfortable beds. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast at this hotel was excellent with a huge choice of items. I would recommend this hotel.
We chose the B.W. at Revelstoke because we needed a hotel with a laundry halfway through a long trip.It exceeded our expectations . Room 223 is on a corner with windows facing 2 directions. It has a huge bed and also a seating/office area with sofa and armchair. The hotel is on the edge of town but as parking is no problem in town this was not an issue. There was Zala's restaurant within walking distance. I loved the bear in the lobby!
We are a family of four and within last year we have been to dozen+ hotels within Canada (moved from the East Coast to East Kootenays). This by far has been our favourite hotel with above-average service, great conti breakfast, and proximity to variety of points of interest. The outdoor swimming pool & hot tub is a bonus during warmer months - it has some spectacular views. If you are looking for a reasonably priced accommodation with fantastic value, this is a no-brainer. Enjoy!
Its lovely new neat and tidy hotel.....hot tubs are nice....very nice views from room.....got liquor store on side of hotel....rooms were nice and spacious.....very quite and i enjoyed my stay here....will recommend it for sure.......
Lovely, clean, new lodging. Nice staff. Breakfast included in cost. Such a nice place to stay as we traveled Hwy 1. We located the motel on TripAdvisor and were so pleased to find a vacancy this holiday weekend. Town is so quaint and charming.
We asked for a quiet room on the top floor and they honoured our request, so no noise from above. Views to a neighbouring parking lot and the Transcanadian Highway in the distance. No noise issues from there ( it was the week-end), but the ac was very outdated and made noise like a helicopter in your room. No choice of pillows - all four pillows on the bed were the same. Ty don´t have other kinds of pillows, so we got one from the lost and found !!
The hotel was great. The rooms were all nice and clean and the pool is absolutely amazing at sundown. The breakfast was awesome. A little bit on the pricey side for a Best Western but it was absolutely nice in the main lobby. Will stay here again
We always stay here as we travel between Calgary and the Okanagan. Our favourite stay for sure! Kids love the stay for the pool. The only complaint right now is the pool isn't operating and was a significant disappointment. The hot tubs are operating but the kids missed the pool.
Great large room with sitting area. Two outdoor hot pools and a small cold pool with the mountains surrounding them. We were the only ones in the pool. Also a gym which we did not make use of. An amazing breakfast with gluten free options in the morning.
I stayed at the Best Western in Revelstoke. The staff were great. What ever you needed, they were there to help. Hiking trails, mountain bike trails, food. The outdoor hot tubs were great after a long day of hiking. There are a few spectacular water falls in both Glacier and Revelstoke National Parks. Ask the front desk, visitor info, or Parks Canada. The Parks Canada web site is easy to use. PC.gc.ca. A great outdoor destination. A great hotel, they even have pedal bikes available for you to use. There is also a hose and a bucket of soapy water to wash your Harley if you are Riding through. Too much fun!
Stayed one night with my wife and son since we had soccer games in Revelstoke. Very clean hotel, friendly staff, great hot tubs with a fantastic free breakfast. Very good value and a great location. Only complaint was the outdoor pool was not open but that is understandable with the still cool nights and summer weather almost here. Would recommend to orhers and we will be back sgain to do more sightseeing!
My son and I stopped in for the night on our way back from Alberta. We slept well as the breakfast was full of great things. Not just muffins and juice/coffee. Waffles and yogurt and eggs and sausages. He want to go back again.
Thank you for the great stay comfort and welcome atmosphere great breakfast great employees helpful . and comfort thank you best western. The rooms were modern and clean Internet worked great and good local
So impressed with the rooms... real beds and real pillows!! Slept great! Hot tubs were awesome! Breakfast the next morning... sure hit the spot!! Offered us everything we could possibly have wanted! Super delicious! Will definitely stop here again on route to/from Alberta!
We always stay or try to stay at Best Western Hotels and were very happy to find a brand New Best Western in Revelstoke B.C. The staff were very polite and went out of their was to make our stay a happy one. The room was quite and very clean and had everything we needed. We would always drive through Revelstoke but now we will make it a point to book the best Western . Breakfast was up to standards and coffee was they way I like it. Thanks for a pleasant stay..
This is an awesome hotel. It is a really nice facility with great staff. The hotel lobby is very welcoming and has a nice breakfast area with mountain views. The hallways are nice and wide and the entire hotel makes you feel welcome. There is nice attention to detail and little things that make you feel welcome and want to come back.
We routinely travel from Edmonton to Kelowna and stay in Revelstoke as a stop over to break up the trip. We have stayed in a bunch of spots in Revelstoke and frankly the Best Western is the best by far. It can be expensive especially for a quick stop over but if you can get a good rate then it is definitely worth it. I think the rate around $200 the hotel charges during peak season is way too pricey but if you can get in for $130 - $150 then it's wroth it. The rooms are clean, the hotel is quiet, and the breakfast is awesome. Very comfortable. It's easy to get convinced by the price of the other "budget" hotels in Revelstoke but if you value sleep and comfort then the Best Western is the choice.
hotel was well kept, clean and the staff couldn't do enough to help. Rooms were roomy, and clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Each time we encountered a staff member we were asked if there was something they could help us with, whether it was directions or any other questions that we had
this is by far the best hotel in revvy. breakfast is awesome. tons of choices and decent coffee. a shuttle to the town and the mountain. rooms are big and modern. the outdoor hot tub is king. what else do you want? there is even a liquor store attached. the only downside is no dinner restaurant onsite.
I booked 2 Queen rooms here this past weekend as we had to attend a funeral in Nakusp, BC. The rooms were clean, spacious and modern and included full breakfast for $157/night. It was the perfect location for us and broke up the trip being 2 hours from Nakusp. It has a number of restaurants within driving distance and was a great stay for us all.
the hotel was good. clean and comfortable but a little pricey. the breakfast was excellent one of the best we have had in the last year. I would recommend it with the provisio that its on the high side.
I've spent almost 50 nights this year in various hotels across North America. I was very pleasantly surprised to discover this gem hidden away in Revelstoke. The room was laid out for privacy and comfort. Everything was up to date and worked flawlessly. Breakfast was varied and delicious and the internet was faster than my home office. A can't miss.
When you find a mid range hotel with staff that care about the place and keep it clean you keep coming back. Breakfast is nice and the people looking after it are friendly and on the ball. Feels more like a restaurant than a complimentary breakfast bar.
We were making Revelstoke a stop over & I checked Trip Advisors reviews before hand. We were pleasantly surprised at what a wonderful hotel this was. Clean, modern, quiet, and I am extremely hard to please. Settled into our room, bought wine from the liquor store attached to the hotel, ordered pizza on recommendation from the helpful front desk girl. Perfect end to a long day of driving. Went down for the free breakfast the next morning, again I was blown away by the quality of the selection. Nice HOT coffee, food was fresh and re-stocked often. Helpful pleasant staff ... Well done all 'round !!!
We stayed at this property in Sept 2015 and were very pleased with the cleanliness and the amenities of the property. Our room was very spacious with lovely views of the mountains. The heated outdoor spa was a pleasant way to relax after a long drive. Very comfortable beds and the included breakfast supplied was a 10/10. Thank you for providing wonderful customer service from all your staff towards our family during our stay. We would definitely recommend this property. Travelled with 2 adults and 2 teenagers.
Easy access from the highway and a very nice clean room. Unfortunately, no restaraunt in the hotel, would have liked room service after a long drive, preferred not to venture out. Will stay again if in the area.
This Best Western is up to all standards. Great location, great parking, and all the amenities are great. The breakfast is adequate. Service is exceptional. There is a very handy liquor store attached to the building, with ample selections.
I was extremely surprised how nice this Best Western was. Comfortable bed & renovations are fairly new. Breakfast is included in the price each morning & it's pretty good (hot cook breakfast). It changes each morning but there is always something good. There are two hot tubs so plenty enough room for all the skiers to get a good soak. This place is about a 10 minute drive to the mountain so it's pretty close. Also, there is a beer & wine store at the front of the hotel so you can get a cold pop for the hot tub. There is a in house massage therapist but they get pretty busy so book before you arrive.
This property, has the lot, free parking, liquor store/shop, transfer bus to mountain and town , large well equipped room, good shower gym and two good spa's, great after skiing. Only fault lady at check in was not to polite and we felt she wanted to fo something else ,not overly friendly.
Hotel is excellent. Everything was 5 star. Stay about 80 nights a year in hotels 10 years running. Location is great, very clean, rooms were very well decorated and staff was great. Breakfast was well done. Will definitely stay there again. Tks
Nicely appointed. I had a great sleep in King room 224. BCAA rate is just over 200/night. Free wifi. Complimentary breakfast. Gym is a good size with a good mix of free weights and cardio equipment. Very friendly staff. Located near some cstores and a Liqour. Overall quiet place to stay.
Large, clean room, fridge, microwave, iron, safe, hair dryer, Good air quality - no cleaning toxins comfortable bed with 4 pillows Usual toiletries, Nice bathroom instant hot water often free cookies at front desk, Friendly helpful staff Beautiful clean building - looks new Attached liquor store Free laundry - individual laundry soap in store Free bus pass which stope in front of hotel
Initially we stayed in a different Motel in Revelstoke. After two nights of heavy thumping feet above us, people running up and down the stairs late at night and very very early in the morning right outside our room, a really terrible uncomfy lumpy bed, cold shower after skiing and tiny indoor hot tub that was enough. We checked out of the crappy hotel and went to the Best Western in Revy. OMG....beautiful room, super comfy beds, very very quiet, steaming hot shower, beautiful view outside our room, amazing huge outdoor hot tub plus 6 person smaller one. Amazing complimentary breakfast in the morning in a beautiful area. Shuttle into town to eat if required and shuttle up to the mountain to ski in the morning. We did look into another couple of hotels close to the Best Western, however the front end staff at the BW were the absolute friendliest and most accommodating. It seemed like the other hotel close by could not have cared less that we were interested in spending our money there so I choose not to spend money there and we went to the BW. A friendly front end staff makes all the difference to us. Check out was super easy. Oh, renting a movie or watching the large flat screen TV was also easy. You could also angle it to watch from the couch or the bed while chilling out. You could have a massage( a few different types) and they had washer and dryer if you wanted to wash something. The only thing I would say would be nice is if they had in house hot food menu for dinner. They supply order in menus and the shuttle to go into town which is great, but after three day of skiing and eating out we wanted to stay in, hot tub and sit around in our sweats. Oh, one other thing, super super handy having an in-house liquor store located beside the lobby for wine, beer, hard bar, champagne, munchies and a few other things like advil or olive tapinade. REALLY GREAT!!! thank you BW. Thinking of booking for same time next year :)
This one in Revelstoke is very good. My husband and I stopped overnight in June, 2015. We found it clean. Good service to. Thank you! I tend to look for Best Western accommodations whenever I can. They maintain their standards of quality and service.
Very visible and easy to find. All new features. Superior front desk staff. Free shuttle service with friendly and courteous drivers. Free breakfast. Two large Jacuzzi hot tubs, work out facility, two clothes washer and dryers, men's and woman's locker room and showers. Housekeeping top notch. Well appointed rooms and large flat screen TV. Would definitely say here again.
BW Revelstoke is a great place to land when skiing Revelstoke. Friendly staff, nice surrounding, good breakfast. Our room was large with a sitting area and room for all our luggage and ski equipment. Located out of downtown, but has a free shuttle to take you to restaurants, shopping, etc.
4 guys on a ski trip to Revelstoke, the hotel is easily accessed from the highway Yet far enough away that you hear no road or train noise. Hotel very modern and clean. Rooms are very large and beds extremely comfortable. Breakfast buffet is included and well serviced. Basic eggs, potato and bacon plus fresh made waffles. Cereals fruits etc too. Even hard boiled eggs. What was also unusual was that some days there were fried eggs. 2 large hot tubs but usually full so we did not try. Friendly staff. Always there to give you something extra. Would easily stay here again. Only knock is you have to drive to restaurants but a good trade off for quiet
We stayed here over 5 days whilst visiting Revelstoke. Was a fantastic stay with the rooms having heaps of room, a free breakfast for every guest, hot pools after a day on the slopes and free shuttles to both the ski fields and into the heart of Revelstoke. Would def recommend staying here
i would recommend the Best Western if you are in Revelstoke. The hotel is very clean and the staff is friendly. The hot tub was awesome at the end of the day skiing and the blankets were comfortable. the breakfast was very extensive and had something for everyone.
We stayed for 5 nights and had a spacious room with a sitting area and a comfy king bed. We didn't hear the highway or the train. The rooms had a small fridge and everything we needed and it had a nice look. The free breakfast was good and the room was pleasant. There was never a problem getting a table and they kept replenishing the coffee and breakfast items. There were two hot tubs and even when the hotel was full we didn't have trouble finding room in one of them. They had a water dispenser and plastic cups right inside the door as well as lots of towels. Everybody from the front desk to the breakfast attendants were really nice. We both felt it was one of the best Best Westerns we have ever stayed at. If we go to Revelstoke again we would definitely stay here.
Stay several time at this hotel and the stay is always the same... great. Hotel is new well decorated very comfy. Not located directly in the downtown but free shuttle available upon request. Staff is very helpfulll and always welling to help you.
Best Western has comfortable beds, great breakfast, and good facilities. We enjoyed a short stay here while skiing. Not a hint of a complaint. Revelstoke gets a lot of snow. It is a credit to management that the sidewalks and parking lots are plowed promptly. There is a really good Denney's restaurant (recommended) about 100 meters away, but you cannot see it from the hotel. It is behind the Sandman Motel.
Great place to stay, very comfortable, nice breakfast, great hot tub for the end of day skiing and the staff always looked busy and were helpful. Rooms were good but I did think the toilets were a bit small, probably a space thing not a biggie.
We rolled into Revelstoke pretty late and this was the first place we saw. We had a great welcome and the front desk was very informative and full of recommendations on what to do in town. The room was big and clean. Their beds were definitely comfortable. They offer a pretty good free breakfast and shuttle to downtown or the ski resort. We had everything we needed by staying here. Can walk to downtown but is a little far. They have two hot tubs, a liquor store on site, and cable tv. We would stay again.
The staff & cleanliness of this hotel is exceptional Please consider it in YOUR travels when going to BC breakfast is good and units are nice especially feather beds and dog friendly units with laminate floors and treats for your furry friend (even a water bowl!)
The stay here is always a great one,The beds are so comfortable, Can't go wrong with a free breakfast every morning, The hot tubs are real nice after a long day,And the staff are very accomadateing to whatever your needs. Love this place :)
Very nice, new hotel with modern decor. Continental breakfast included. Conveniences are all available for use. (Fake) hardwood floor is perfect for waltzing in with ski boots. Outdoor hottub and attached convenience/liquer store make live easy.
Love the Hot Tub, fitness facility and the included breakfast. Comfortable pet friendly rooms. They even include pet treats on check in. Helpful staff. Highly recommend this for business or personal travel.
This is a great place to stay while sledding. Other than the fact that we booked the rooms by phone at a certain rate, and they tried to change the rate once we got there saying that the weekend rates were higher, the rest of the stay was good. Buffet style breakfast is included and is a full meal.
Everything about this hotel was awesome, from food to service. Only downside was that one of the hot tubs wasn't working which was kind of a bummer because the other one was full and we had come back from a day of snowmobiling and had to wait to use it
Had a good stay as always, and for the first time I decided to get up late and enjoy the continental breakfast. It was very good, ham roasted potatoes, scrambled eggs, bagels, coffee, they had it all.
What a wonderful surprise to find this really first class property in the little town of Revelstoke. Front desk staff professionally managed with terrific people who went out of their way to provide helpful information. The elevators, hallways and rooms were spotless. The breakfast room spacious, the food excellent -- huge variety including homemade muffins. Lovely outdoor area. The computer area was clean and all computers worked. The laundry room very clean. Great, great, great property. Management of this place is first rate. As a hotelier, I observe through industry eyes. The operating management of this hotel is on top of everything. Carpets are shampooed on a regular basis. Cleaning staff work in teams to quickly and efficiently turn the rooms of guest who are checking out, leaving plenty of time to attend to room details. This is a fabulous place in a great little town. Excellent value.
We stayed at this hotel due to a last minute change in our travel plans. It was a wonderful experience, the staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was in excellent condition and very clean. The breakfast was more than what we expected (the homemade waffles were delicious). The young lady at the front desk was particularly helpful with room selection (not on the same floor as the hockey teams) and dining options. We ordered pizza from the Village Idiot....best pizza...ever...) I was actually looking for excuses to stay longer.
We stayed just one night in late Oct here on our way back to Calgary...what a great choice ! The hotel itself is tastefully decorated ....better than average BW and one could not ask for a more friendly informative staff....Tabitha ? on the front desk the day we arrived on Oct 25 was awesome .She helped recommend a few take out restaurants in the area so we could stay in that night (raining)and relax ....we chose "the village idiot ".... Great choice ! We did a couple loads of laundry at no cost ....nice touch .The outside hottubs in the rain were so relaxing as well with mountain views in the distance . The morning breakfast again did not disappoint us as the quality ,mountain views were again so nice . If your traveling through the area or coming to ski revelstoke ....we for sure would love to come back and stay again ....well done BW Revelstoke !!! We could not have asked for more :)
This hotel is newish, clean and our king room was large, light and airy with a very comfortable bed. Unfortunately this is where the good news stops. It is situated out of town on an industrial complex alongside petrol stations on the edge of Highway 1. The obligatory railway track runs close by and provides constant noise night and day. There is nowhere near to eat unless McDonald's or Tim Hortons is your bag. Not to worry, the hotel says it lays on a courtesy bus into town to their affiliated restaurant 112 steakhouse and grill. No they don't. Not on Sunday's, Monday's and Tuesday's. So we were there on a Sunday night and despite being told by the check-in girl that it was running between 6-10 pm we duly arrived at the desk at 6pm only to be informed that it doesn't run on Sunday, Monday or Tuesday. Some staff training might be in order. The aircon in the room sounded like a 747 taking of but at least it drowned out the sound of the mile long trains running by. Breakfast was mediocre at best, a help yourself buffet, rubber eggs, cremated bacon etc.Coffee like dishwater etc. etc. Overall, the beat hotel in Revelstoke is because it's the only decent one in Revelstoke judging by all the others.
This is one of the better hotels in this area, it may be a little more expensive but the quality of the beds, breakfast, cleanliness and train noise are way better then any other property in Revelstoke.
This hotel has everything you need for a wonderful stay! Clean, quiet room, and friendly staff. The breakfast was great! They even offered a free shuttle to a great restaurant/pub downtown where we had a great dinner.
My wife and I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights during our trip to Western Canada for 2 nights in june 2015. The hotel is located a little bit outside of town, but it´s s only a 15 minute walk to "Downtown Revelstoke". The Trans Canada-Highway is only 400 meters away. Nice hotel, very clean. Guest-Laundry. Good variety of breakfast items - bagels, cereals, toast, ham and eggs, muffins. Enough tables in the breakfast-area for anyone. There are 4 Tesla loading stations on the parking lot.
Although this was a very new and well appointed hotel, and being a "Best Western Hotel Chain client and member, we did not stay in this hotel. For a hotel in the middle of nowhere, it was extremely pricey, and the front desk clerk was ("snotty"), cold and unfriendly, even though I mentioned that I was a hotel member and that I tried to stay only at Best Westerns on my 10,000 kilometer trips across Canada. Ended up in an affordable hotel next door for a quick 6 hour sleep before hitting the road again.
Very nice accommodations and a short walk to a few of the local restaurants or even some nice hikes if you are in to that. Great fitness center downstairs with a hot tub close by, and has its own liquor store for all your needs from beer, wine and hard stuff. The beds are probably the best I have slept on very comfortable and the rooms are of a good size.
We enjoyed our stay in this hotel - modern, clean and comfortable. Very friendly staff and pretty good, serve yourself breakfast. Would definitely stay here again. Location is a bit off the highway and relatively quiet. Nice walk to a nearby park / river.
Have stayed at this hotel a number of times since it opened - probably the Top Best Western Plus hotel of any of them. Décor is modern, rooms are spacious, beds comfortable and their complimentary breakfast is beyond compare. They have set the bar extremely high with regards to free breakfast - have not stayed at any other hotel anywhere in Canada or US with a complimentary breakfast that can compete with this one.
Don't normally stop at Revelstoke on my travels but were travelling in a group and we decided to make a stop. This hotel had very friendly staff, rooms were clean and good size, and very quiet. We were on the top floor, maybe that was why the price was higher than I expected for Revelstoke in mid-October. Thanksgiving Monday, so some of the hotel amenities were closed. Breakfast the next morning was very good. Overall, excellent place to stay.
Hotel was clean and modern. Comfortable room, good breakfast included, friendly and helpful staff. Next time we find ourselves travelling this way we will stay here again. If you need a beer after a long day on the road there is a liquor store next door.
Clean, comfortable room. Hotel is only 2 or 3 years old. Staff are pleasant and obliging. Upon checking in, I found my room was still being cleaned - these things happen. The young man handled the situation perfectly and gave me an adjacent room to relax in while he completed his work. Self serve breakfast is a cut above the typical breakfast of this style.
we arrived early and were able to get into our room which was great! It was a corner room with a corner window giving us views of two different mountains! Very beautiful! The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable!. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good with plenty of food available. Good value for the money. Would definitely stay here again.
Booked an executive king room. Room was large and spotlessly clean. Excellent value for money with a great breakfast included. It is a little bit away from the main street but they do offer a shuttle bus. We had our own car so no issue for us. Laundry on site was excellent. We are on a 6 week trip around Canada, so to have somewhere on site to do our laundry was great. We were on the top floor - level 4 and heard no noise. Would highly recommend if you need somewhere to stay in Revelstoke. Free wifi was good.
Nice hotel with good rooms. Very well located for travellers on one side but quite far away to the city center on the other side which means 30 minutes walking. They offer officially a shuttle service but this is finally running only on weekends which seems to be not really known by the own staff (as we asked for a shuttle, she confirmed for 7pm and at half 8 she "remembered " that the shuttle is not running on Tuesdays). Moreover it is very loud starting from 4.30 in the morning. Breakfast very basic.
This Best Western was the very best of all the Best Westerns we have stayed in. Excellent Service, friendly staff and a great breakfast. Beds are the best and one of the cleanest hotels we have stayed in and we have stayed in a lot.
Not knowing how far we would get, we did not have a reservation. When Revelstoke became the obvious stopping point, we booked a room via TripAdvisor. There was clearly some kind of glitch as the site showed a lower price than the confirming emails. The front desk clerk was very nice and gave us the price we saw on line. The property is new and very well kept. Our room was good size, the beds just right and the bathroom sparkling. We took advantage of the very large lobby to sit and chat in the evening. The next morning we found the hot breakfast to be the best of the comp breakfasts we had all trip. The food was of high quality and hot. Yes the price is a little higher than other properties but worth it if you value a good night's rest.
Very friendly reception staff, a good room, clean & quiet. Ideal after a long road trip. Not much to look at in the town. Took the free shuttle bus into town to the restaurant (112) Breakfast was very basic, not much choice. Paper plates and plastic cutlery a real let down. Don't leave the table unattended, it will be cleared before you know it!!
Have used this hotel several times. A bit pricey (average value) but the service and amenities have been consistently good. It's comfortably off the highway so it's quiet. Lots of surface parking. We get a king bed room, the bed is very comfortable. There's a small liquor store off the lobby. Hot breakfast in the morning with a pleasant place to enjoy it. They offer a shuttle service to a steakhouse downtown. We'll stay there again.
