Best Western Plus Redondo Beach Inn

I understand this is not a five star hotel, but I would expect to not find suspicious residue on pillows hair from a previous guest in the sheets upon arrival and friendly and courteous staff to guests. Very limited parking. Nice area 7-10 min from King Harbor. Keep expectations VERY LOW if you decide to stay

This hotel is always clean, staff personable, amenities are quite satisfactory, breakfast is sufficient though not exotic, pool area and fitness area are suitable and clean. The bed was really comfy. I enjoy staying here when I visit and it's very convenient to the beach, shopping, etc.

We stay here regularly when visiting nearby relatives. The staff, facility, parking, amenities, breakfast all combine to make a seamless home away from home experience. We always look forward to saying.

Starting off with a great location, so close to the Riviera Village and the beach, there are also adjacent shops. The car parking is good, a large front entrance with baggage trolleys makes life easier. Reception and check in was pleasant. The rooms are not the most modern but certainly quite clean and comfortable, we had no complaints during our 3 day stay. The breakfast is good with an excellent team that keeps all the food items replenished and the tables cleaned. An easy recommendation and somewhere we would definitely choose to stay again.

We visit this area frequent for family, and this is the place we usually stay because of its location. It's not a luxury accommodation, but the beds are very comfortable and the rooms are spacious and clean. For a short stay where amenities are not necessary, this is a lodging we can recommend.

Heard screaming from a guest not sure if police took him away. I called police. He had a bad night and so did all of us at this Best Western. Property is looking very old. Employees seemed nice but seemed like some needed a shower.

The rooms are clean and bed is very comfortable. You will enjoy the breakfast it is exceptional.. after staying in more expensive hotels this is equal to or better than most. Don't hesitate to try it I'm never disappointed!

Don't waste your money. The hotel itself and rooms are in pretty poor condition and smell gross, including a persistent mildew odor and thin walls. You will hear everything. There are better places to stay in the beautiful area of Redondo Beach that are all-around nicer.

We stay here regularly when we visit family. Alway the staff is great, the breakfasts are real breakfasts with friendly staff. The who place is well set-up, good parking and well appointed rooms. We'll be back for multiple visits before the end of the year.

We booked our stay with Best Western because it was so close to the End Hydrocephalus Walk which we were involved in. The bed was perfect! I slept very well. We enjoyed our Breakfast. And the coffee in the room was very good! #TeamDiego

I've stayed at this location several times. Great access to the beach and lots of restaurants. The parking lot is a little tricky, especially if you have a large vehicle. Limited underground parking. Breakfast is adequate. Water pressure is not good.

This hotel is in much need of an interior renovation. The hallways and rooms are old and brown. Our room had a stale odor and old carpet and furnishings. When we turned the A C on a different unpleasant smell came about. For over $300 a night uh-uh. I didn't mention full size beds. You can't fit 2 adults comfortably in a full size bed. Go to a hotel by the beach for the same price. Not only can you get queen beds but an ocean view too.

Two friends travelling from UK. This was stop 1 of our road trip. Checking in was super easy, the two staff were lovely (one was training and was really great). Rooms were nice, very clean! There was a fridge which was great because a lot of the other hotels we've stayed in haven't had that! Loads of parking! Pool was tiny but we went to the beach anyway! Breakfast was really good and included with the stay! Would recommend!

Broken toilet I had to fix after notifying front desk immediately upon checking in. Room not serviced and items missing needed to be replaced/filled (no body wash). Tiny pillows that felt old, hard to get comfortable with.

Comfortable and convenient place for family members to stay and the hot breakfast is good. Pool and hot tub are relaxing. Staff was very nice and helpful. We have stayed here several times and always enjoy it.

The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was comfortable. It was described as having a kitchenette, but there was only a microwave and mini-fridge. The pool and hot tub were a plus. The gym was small and didn't open until 8 am. Therefore, I only utilized it once. Breakfast options were sufficient, and I appreciated the hot options, i.e., eggs, sausage, and hashbrowns. There are bikes on-site, but I didn't inquire about the availability. I walked to the beach and local restaurants and shops.

We stayed here two nights before our scheduled cruise. What a nice little gem. Very clean and nicely maintained. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A great 2 night stay. Thank you! We would definitely stay again if in the area.

This inn was great. I stayed at the Inn because it was the closest for my scheduled event. The service was great, the building was clean, and the location was perfect for my weekend. Also, was next to a CVS which I was able to walk to.

Good price and service for the location w/parking, amenities and breakfast. Recommend this location and hotel.We looked for reasonable price in Redondo Beach with breakfast. In the price you will have included also an out door swimming pool with in door small hot pool.

The hotel is decent and located in a pleasant neighborhood, near the beach (a bike ride away). They serve complimentary breakfast, have an indoor hot tub and an outdoor pool. The rooms are in need of some updates. The bathroom exhaustor did not work well. Therefore, we cannot see anything in the mirror after a shower. The TV was pretty outdated. I had to go out and buy a Chromecast device in order to watch some decent movies.

Needed an affordable place to stay visiting relatives over the holidays and this hotel exceeded our expectations with it's cleanliness and spaciousness. Will definitely stay here again. It is also conveniently located to the pier and local eateries.

The experience here was so much better than other hotels we chose on a long road trip vacation. The whole facility was a pleasure to be at. The hit tub and pool were amazing, especially after many hours of driving. The included breakfast was a huge surprise at the variety. Great place!

This hotel stay was a positive experience. The staff are friendly, welcoming but always professional in their service provided. The building is spotlessly clean in the hallways and guest rooms, but also in the common areas. The area is quiet. This is a great location as you are in easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, services and amenities. You are a short drive to uncrowded beaches and parks.

There was plenty of free parking, staff at front desk was very helpful. The Rooms were clean, the bed very comfortable and had enough pillows. Breakfast and coffee was also very good. All around a solid hotel in a nice area!!

The room has everything I need for an overnight stay, including iron, Internet, good bed, coffee machine. Breakfast could be better but it's not something hotels anywhere in the US do right unless you stay at 5 star properties. Good choice if you're visiting the area.

We stay here when we visit family nearby. Every time we have a seamless experience. the breakfast set up is perfect to start the day and the rooms upstairs above the check in area are spacious and have convenient in-room amenities (small frig, microwave, bedsides lamp with power outlets for easy phone/iPad charging). It just works as a convenient, nice featured, cost-effective location for us.

I've stayed at this location on numerous occasions & it's a nice best western. The location is close to the beautiful beach, the scenery is great for vacations if you like going for walks. The staff members are very friendly.

This motel is clean, close to our kids and grandkids, so we often stay there. People are friendly. It is not quiet--you either must contend with the noise coming from Pacific Coast Highway, or the equally noisy AC unit. Overall, I clean, convenient, no frills place to stay.

It's great for a budget hotel—complete with a breakfast buffet, actually good coffee, a pool, a hot tub, a workout room, and plentiful parking. The room was very clean, and I appreciate that there weren't any overpowering fragrances used on the sheets. The A/C was quiet for a window unit. My only complaint was the bathroom, which was cramped, and the lighting choices were either a hot light over the shower, or a nicer light but with a loud air vent.

Awful awful awful….dark rooms, dirty pool, inedible breakfast……very oppressive building stuck in the 1970's with chocolate brown rough walls and “Meet the Flintstones” doors…..if you visit you will know what I mean….Avoid if you wanna have a Happy Holiday

We used to stay at this hotel regularly and enjoyed the stay. Now the customer service is terrible, and the hotel is dark and uninviting. The room was unacceptable, and we will go to a different hotel chain in the future.

Rooms stink. Carpet is dirty and furniture are old. We were supposed to stay there 3 nights. After the first night, we went away because with 3 kids the hygienic conditions were far below our limits. Better to book a Motel.

This was our fourth stay at this hotel and we've never been disappointed. The hotel is within walking distance of the beach and many restaurants and shops. We used the hotel's bikes which were in great work order and reasonable to rent. The staff at this hotel are always friendly and helpful and make for a very pleasant stay.

Finding a safe location that is near the beach, in a safe area, and close to Inglewood events is tricky. This location is excellent. Lots of restaurants and shops close by as well. The hotel staff is friendly and breakfast is included. We had a suite with a bedroom and a living room and a kitchen with a fold-out bed where my teen could sleep separately from me. That's a win! The breakfast was overly sugary and some of the wallpaper is peeling, but overall it's a great place to stay.

Arrived early however the hotel was able to prioritize readying the room within the hour. Although the room was "tired" and due for a remodel it was clean a comfortable. A work desk, microwave and fridge together with a 2 chairs and a table. Plenty of room! I am not usually tempted by hotel breakfasts however I did participate and found the breakfast menu on hand, to be good. I was allocated room 219 with no view whatsoever. No issue this time as here for business. One can chill pool side utilizing the pool furniture to avoid sitting in a dark room.

Located in the heart of Redondo, this particular hotel was nice in that it was walking distance to many restaurants and stores. Overall clean hotel. Rooms a bit outdated and could use some freshening up but overall satisfied with the stay.

We stay here regularly when visiting family who live up the hill. We always find the rooms clean, nicely featured, comfortable beds, nice breakfast included and good parking too. We particularly like the rooms upstairs in the main building above the lobby. We'll be back!

The rooms were very old. The lighting was minimal throughout the room at best. The bathroom mirror was so dirty, permanently stained, it was hard to see yourself to comb your hair. No problem at could this hotel be a PLUS. We try to stay at BW hotels during our travels….. this ranks down at bottom of our experiences.

Enjoyed a recent stay at this location and found the staff to be very polite and helpful. Very attentive. Older buildings but good condition and clean. Breakfast options are acceptable. This hotel is located very close to downtown with coastal access. There are many restaurants within walking distance and a CVS nearby. The area is safe, clean, and mostly quiet. No parking fees, unlike other franchise hotels.

This was our first trip post-COVID and we were looking forward to relaxation and safety. The hotel check-in staff were kind and courteous, despite the fact that the place was full. Los Angeles has a "mask in public places" policy and this was well respected everywhere we went (no drama, no conflict - everyone went along with it). The location is great. You can walk to the Riviera Village area in five-10 minutes where you'll find many casual yet chic restaurants, great food and nice drinks (jalapeno jello shots anyone?). The beach and waterfront are a little further and there's a great walking or jogging area along the waterfront. Or, head around the corner to a little mall where you can get takeout at several places, or snacks and drinks at CVS. We were there in December and it was coolish so we did not use the pool. Breakfast is included and the limited buffet included hot dishes (eggs, bacon, sausage and biscuits) along with cereals, pancakes, fruit, juice, etc. We've stayed here several times due to the location and the neighborhood and will definitely come back.

Great hotel with beautiful lobby, high ceilings and good continental breakfast option. Cvs, restaurants are within 1 min, beaches are close (~10 min walk). Friendly service and amole parking. Will stay again!

The Best Western Plus Redondo Beach is a beautiful property, inside and out. The rooms and grounds are immaculate. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is fabulous and has a wide variety of options for dining.

We needed something for a couple of nights and this was a nice Best Western near the locations we were spending time at. The staff were very good at helping me fix a problem I made when I booked, and were kind and easy to work with.

So after last min flight delayed I didn't get there still 2-3 am they couldn't give any help with price considering we wouldn't have the room more than 8 to 10 hours although they don't have to being the highest rank member of this company rewards you would assume they would assist in some kind of way then proceeded to tell me I would have to pay an early check in fee when there were clearly several rooms available on both days then continued to make us wait even after I excepted to pay the early check in fee until a little after noon the next morning after I finally got some rest I went to pay or the next day and try to talk to them about how I was charged an early entry fee I was confronted by a very angry and aggressive manager who at the end of this confrontation Continue to follow me to my room where he demanded that I leave for he was defending his employee saying that she was in the right with everything she did and competently and attempted to force his way into my hotel room I had to call the police to get him to let me leave peacefully and he made us stand on the curb with our hotel bags until we were able to get a ride away from his hotel I left a lot of stuff out and the story was actually for worse but bottom line the route to this problem is the manager and the lady at his front desk he calls his verteran girl he blatantly ignored video evidence and sided with her But the night guy is one of the coolest people on Long Beach :)

I was very happy staying here. Nothing real fancy but super clean, some of the friendliest staff around and very convenient location. I still can't get over how comfortable the bed/pillows were. I would definately stay here again.

Our room had a very musty odor and was extremely hot upon arrival. The AC was very weak and it took a couple of hours to bring the temperature down to a comfortable temperature. Vending machines on all floors would not accept cash, debit, or credit card. The last machine accepted a five dollar bill and immediately returned five dollars in quarters and would not accept them back. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The free breakfast was nice and well maintained by the staff making sure tables were promptly cleaned and plenty of food was available at all times.

We did a local staycay/vacay in Redondo Beach to attend a concert and football game. Decided on the BW Redondo Beach Inn due to its location to the beach, safe area, close to the pier and free parking/breakfast. We arrived little early but Tommy checked us in early. Rooms are good size with a fridge, microwave and coffee amenities. The breakfast is plentiful and the staff very friendly. The grounds around the Inn are well kept and the staff works hard to keep it looking clean. All in all a very nice and safe inn to stay at. Thanks for a nice and pleasant stay!!

All the ladies that worked the breakfast were phenomenal! They were super friendly, accommodating and professional. The breakfast area was very clean and organized with lots of food choices. My room was very clean as was the rest of the hotel. Everything and everybody was great! Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel is decent and an excellent location. Room could use some attention as the bathroom mirror was so cloudy from age and probably cleaning products it was not so easy to see clearly as a woman putting on makeup. Pillows are very small and too firm for me but that's a personal choice. I would stay here again because the location is close to my son's.

Usually a clean pretty place to stay in the heart of south Redondo. Not this time. The room smelled of urine, probably from the carpet. Very difficult to sleep especially with the windows closed. Super disappointing !

We found ourselves requiring lodging we had not planned for. The Redondo Beach Inn found us a room an a busy weekend with a major event in the area. And, it was a clean, quiet and spacious enough for the two of us. We had the opportunity to interact with several staff members and were impressed. Olivia greeted us and made sure we were rewards members and received the benefits of that program. She has a fantastic smile and doesn't hesitate to share it. Rebecca made sure our billing was going to the right account and even walked me through buying a soda from the vending machines (one was broken so she walked me to another and made sure I got what I wanted). Anthony addressed questions about transportation to LAX from the property and handled check out. The most amazing thing was the friendliness and attentiveness of this people. Always a smile. Always a Hello or Goodbye. Always made us feel welcome. Thank them for us. And thank Tommy Lee for managing such a great staff. Located within walking distance of shopping, entertainment, food and even the beach.

We had a great stay. The property was clean, the staff was friendly, and the location great. Very close to shopping and the beach. The room was comfortable especially since the units had a/c. Bed was comfortable and the internet was fast.

Check in was super easy and fast and they sent up the extra stuff we needed really fast. It was such a relief we found this hotel because we had previously checked into a very horrid hotel at first and after a quick search, we found this hotel and it was such a relief.

This BW is clean and accommodating. Friendly staff, clean rooms, easy stay. And it's in a great location for access to beach and village. Pretty basic but well done. If you want a friendly place and good value, close to beach, this is it!!

First, I was checked in by an inexperienced hotel clerk, you can tell they don't know what they are doing! Second, the room I was given has BED BUGSs, which the MANAGER REFUSED TO ACKNOWLEDGE. Third, everyone here is RUDE, including the incompetent so called General Manager Tommy who don't even have a certificate of being a Hotel General Manager, Checked BW Corporate and this mediocre "manager" doesn't have credentials! TO ALL THE GUESTS - THINK REALLY HARD BEFORE STAYING HERE!!! Check other hotels in the same area and you can clearly see the difference! Best Western Redondo Beach Inn is using the pandemic as an excuse for NOT PROVIDING clean room, functional amenities nor great service! I used to come here before the pandemic and now all the good and experienced hotel staff including former manager was let go by this fool of an incompetent manager Tommy, who don't know anything about managing a hotel and now great service has gone DOWNHILL! Heck, there's not even a coffee in the lobby anymore! What has happened to this once nice hotel? It has become a POOR, UNMANAGED CHEAP HOTEL! Hopefully the REAL OWNERS OF THIS HOTEL WAKES UP! It is such a waste for a good location.. tsk tsk.. Of course, after my review you will reply as if I'm in the wrong like how you guys been replying to all the guests who reviewed negatively due to the poor service you all provided and yet since you know we cant reply after your reply to our review, you will all make it seem that you did provide great service, hah, great service my foot!

wait for a couple years before going to this hotel. The gym was closed. Why? Just to save money. The food selection at breakfast was very limited. Ran out of wheat bread the second day we were there. Ran out of sausages the second day we were there. What excuse can they use for that? How can covid limit supply of wheat bread ???

This Best Western in Redondo Beach was very nice and clean. The breakfast selection was nice and the staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting California, especially in Redondo Beach or its surrounding areas. We had a very nice stay here.

We've stayed here several times to visit family in the area and have always found the hotel to be clean, the breakfasts have been generous even during COVID-19 restrictions, and the staff is very competent and friendly.

Manager was very racist and discriminated towards my family. Front desk worker janet was very rude to my husband and she act very ignorant and uneducated. House keeping doesn't k ow how to clean at all last room i stay on had writing on mirror saying I LOVE YOU TO THE MOON+BACK JAY MAY , bathroom door had all kind of finger prints all over and both sides ,lasting manager kicked me and my family out in a very rude way

This hotel was perfect for our 4 night stay in Redondo Beach. The room was very clean, modern, and up to date. It appears the hotel has just gone through a renovation because the room felt like everything was brand new. The room had lots of space so it was easy to spread out. The location was great for walking to the beach or to several restaurants down the street. The room includes breakfast every morning which was not the greatest but we appreciated the efforts of the staff to serve a hot breakfast during Covid restrictions. The staff was very friendly and attentive so we would have no problem coming back to stay here again.

Used to stay here regularly until the pandemic and the usual friendly employees was replaced! Now the rooms are moldy, and dirty and the staff are all mediocre and clueless on what this dated hotel has to offer. The sink and tub had hair and including the crumbs under the bed, yo can tell this hotel has turned into a dirty and unmanaged hotel. I would advise to check other hotels before considering staying here. Only pro is the proximity to the beach!

The receptionist didnt have a clue about alot of things regarding the hotel( ice machine location , extra ice bucket bags, he also forgot to give us the room key when he checked us in! Lol. The hotel did take 150$ deposit which is way higher than what other hotels charge but whatever. Keeping on: the hotel room had funny smell to it, and I had to open the windows to vent it alittle. The furniture was so dated, and the colors were depressing. Wish if they had a couch instead of the the 2 chairs. Also they had very small pillows instead of the regular ones. The hotel has nice location, price was not bad, free parking and free breakfast. Overall not so bad, but I think it was over rated .

Room was very clean, bed was super comfortable along with the pillows. Hotel is on Pacific Coast Hwy which was a bit noisy a few times. I wear ear plugs, so was not a problem when it was time for sleep. It was a pleasant surprise to have breakfast options which were served to you by the attendants on a tray to take back to the room. There were cereals, fruit, yogurt, breakfast burritos, hash browns, toast, bagels, etc. I would recommend this hotel.

First of all, the front desk guy not once wore a mask in my 4 days there. Second, my tub was covered in black sludge so they had to switch us to a new room. That room was not clean. There were cockroaches and sticky stuff everywhere that I had to clean up. Plus, the whole room reaked of smoke even though it is supposed to be non smoking.

The stay was great. Local to the beach shops Resturant all within walking distance. Will definitely stat here again when time permits. Pancake Resturant Fedex CVS very close. Ocean is within blocks away.

We had a fantastic weekend stay. Yen at the front desk was so friendly and accommodating. He was our first impression and it kept getting better from there. The room was very nice and clean. The bathroom was a bit small. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was just super. A very great variety of breakfast items and attended by some very special staff that made it really wonderful. Overall, a great experience for us and we will surely make this hotel a do again.

We have stayed at this property 5 times, the prior 4 have been great experiences. This last stay I booked for my wife and in-laws as they were traveling out of LAX and this location is nearby without having the airport hotel downsides of noise and such. "Yen" at the front desk gave my wife a hassle since I wasn't present at the check-in, which was a first for us. When my wife indicated we had stayed several times before and it was never an issue he said "in this industry we have to be careful because a wife can show up unexpectedly when a husband is here with his mistress." He they only issued 2 breakfast coupons for the reservation for 3 adults because there are only 2 beds in the room. WTAF people? This person should NOT represent a hotel in a front desk capacity, nor work with the public. The hotel manager owes my wife an apology.

This hotel is clean and offers an American breakfast in your cost. No laundry amenities for guests. Suitable for disabled, upstairs and downstairs rooms. Places to eat next door if needed. Also has a tour desk to book trips. It is further out from LA, but if you want to explore Redondo beach, Hermosa beach and Manhattan this is a good place to be situated at. Has a nice pool, if you want one.

The hotel is just minutes from the beach, nice restaurants nearby, very helpful staff, nice big rooms, clean, no noise, hotel was fully booked. Nice clean breakfast room. Nice selection of food, even fresh fruits.

I stayed for 5 days. It was an excellent value. Desk clerk on check in was great. Friendly and offered great local advice on where to eat. I gave it 5 stars because it is an excellent value ($120 night on Hotels.com including all the taxes). The included breakfast was the best of any in its price range. Scrambled eggs, oatmeal, pastries, yogurts, waffles, potatoes and a meat (bacon, sausage or ham) made it easy to have something different every morning. The room was large. The furnishings were ok. Electrical outlets were adequate. The bed was very comfortable. My room was near the back of the motel and was quiet. My only complaints were that the room was relatively dark and the shower flow rate was a little slow for my tastes, although both were adequate. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance. I recommend Asaka and The Bull Pen.

My sister came from AZ to celebrate my 65th birthday!! We booked 3 days at this hotel and it all went Great!!! We enjoyed the hot tub, our free breakfast everyday and the cleanliness of our room every time we came back to our room. Thank you for making my birthday a special one!!

Convenient to beach and downtown Redondo Beach, friendly staff, clean rooms, amenities work, complete breakfast. I wish they had a list of TV channels and included a few more news channels. Also would like to see a way of opening the windows with lock at night, for fresh air.

We are long time Best Western Inns. We really have enjoyed staying at the Best Western all over California. The people are so very friendly at each Best Western. The breakfasts are consistently wonderful at each Best Western.

Best value and service in a great location. Rooms include mini fridge microwave and coffee maker as well as large comfy pullout which our grandson enjoyed. Fresh coffee is always available in lobby. Very comfortable place to stay.

Comfy beds, great linens, clean and quiet. Plus, a pool and hot tub, AND a very good, hot, freshly cooked on a stove breakfast! The woman who runs the breakfast is amazing!! Location is great--can walk to the Village (shops, restaurants), CVS drugstore, and the beach. Another plus--the room windows open, so you can get fresh oceany air (always a winner!) It's on PCH, so easy driving if you have a car, and easy for Uber drivers to find. This hotel is a winner.

The BE Plus Redondo Beach is a very nice hotel. It is convenient to places we need to be while we are in So Cal. The breakfast was typical of same type of hotels. The room was very nice, bed very comfortable.

Stayed for five nights. The staff is fantastic. They were doing renovations to the hotel while we were there, but we didn't really notice. The rooms have clearly been upgraded recently and everything was clean and well maintained. The location is great with lots of shops, restaurants and the beach close by. We will be staying here over and over. P.S., great complimentary breakfast, too.

I stayed 2 nights in a standard room at the 'Best Western Plus Redondo Beach Inn' whilst in the LA area on business. It was comfortable, clean and well appointed. In walking distance were some places to eat and a great ice-cream parlour, (Handel's, see my review). Breakfast was a typical basic Best Western buffet but it was okay. There was a pool, although it is small and I didn't use it myself. I paid GB£145 a night for my room including taxes and for the money I think the hotel offered reasonable value.

I loved it was close by where the meetings were. The breakfast was filling and up to high standards. The pool looked clean and inviting (if I would have had time). It was very quiet - I really enjoy my stay.

Breakfast attendant went above and beyond to help, work efficiently, and was super friendly. The night front desk man was personable and quick. The rooms definitely need a remodel since this is an older hotel/motel. Especially the bathrooms.

It's fine for a night, basic clean accommodation, but nothing exceptional. Our room was well used, but clean. Bathroom small, and I was unable to take a bath as there was no rubber on the bath plug. The pluses here are free parking, close to LAX, no stupid money grabbing extortionate resort fee, fast WIFI and friendly staff. The minus here is it is expensive for standard of accommodation offered.

I stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed it. The room I got was huge with a queen bed and a 3 seats sofa. Breakfast was rich and tasty. The dinning room staff was very friendly and requested all the quests to take something with them for the day (apple, banana). In case it's required, there are in the lobby 2 computers + a printer for the guests usage. The hotel is located close to Manhattan beach and with walking distance from the ocean. Some stores and restaurants are very close by in case needed. I've stayed in a Best Western hotel long ago, but it was not as good. Maybe the plus has indeed a value. In any case, I'd surly consider this hotel in my next visit to the area.

Everything I wanted. Good location, convenient to get to, safe neighborhood, good hotel, friendly and helpful staff, clean big and quiet rooms including breakfast, free parking. The only thing I would change would be the floor from carpet to wood floor and maybe update the blanket on the beds to another style

Staff where professional, clean rooms and the most comforable beds and pillow. You can't beat the breakfast. I didn't go in the pool, but it was very clean and inviting. I would stay here again if in area.

Everything about this place was perfect. Got off my plane and asked for a early check in because I am a solo traveler w/out a rental car. They gave me a check in at noon and they couldn't of been more helpful. My room was very clean and felt very safe in the area. Breakfast Buffet was superb with ham,eggs,sausage,waffles and more. Great value too for the area. Would recommend to all

A good motel just 15 minutes walks from the beach. Managed by nice people, good parking, elevator to different levels, quiet location with plenty of places to eat. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return again. My wife is dependent upon a wheelchair and no disabled room was available. We still managed everything even though the USA beds are a bit high for a disabled person.

The price was reasonable for a reasonably clean, breakfast-included, convenient location. The room we were in smelled very musty despite running the AC. Seemed like maybe some moisture had accumulated. Also if you're on the first floor, the people walking around upstairs is fairly noisy. Breakfast was standard - nothing outstanding, and the hostess was a bit pushy about cleaning up her way and where people sat.

Staff is really truly good. The lady running the breakfast buffet probably doesn't get paid what she is worth. I don't recall ever seeing someone hustle like she does. That buffet is really well run. Food is good too. The pool is a lot smaller than it looks in pictures but with the beach a mile away this is pretty common for hotels in this area. The pool area was very clean even though I did not see anyone use it during our stay. The area was pretty quiet at night and we felt it was safe too. The staff was very competent with our booking connecting rooms for our family. The rooms were very clean. The mattresses are getting a little worn though for good sleep. Even my 16 year old (weighs barely 100 lbs) complained her back hurt the next day from the bed. The only other thing that was annoying was the shower in our room. It didn't drain well. We were only there two nights so I didn't bother calling it in but it's kind of basic to have functioning showers, toilets etc. I had to stand at the far end and take a fast shower to only stand in an inch of water. Avoid room 125 until the shower is fixed.

Great breakfast, clean, modern design, modern rooms, professional/ friendly staff. Great location! Bike rental right in front and helmets are included. Short ride (or walk) to the beach. Shopping and dining are also very close . LAX and LA itself 20 -25minutes. With 3 great beaches nearby nobody needs the city part of LA. Lol

We were pleased with the great customer service from the front desk to house cleaning. Shops and restaurants were close by that we could walk everywhere. Staff were so super friendly and accommodating.

I can't say enough good things about the customer service I experienced when I had an emergency that caused me to have to cancel my reservation. Mike was so helpful and caring. I'm really sorry we didn't get the chance to stay during our scheduled time, but I will be there sometime in the future. Thanks BW and Mike for truly helping me out.

The BW Plus Redondo is nice. It's an older hotel, but everything works. The price / value was good for the area. Rooms were comfortable - AC worked well. There is a microwave and fridge in the rooms. The wifi worked very well. There's free parking though it gets packed at night. Breakfast was pretty good - there's a good selection of meats, eggs, waffle maker. The staff keeps things well-run. The front desk staff was nice and pleasant. The hotel is on the southern end of Redondo, so it's a little bit farther from LA than most beach hotels. It's about 2-3 blocks from the beach. The hotel rents bikes for a cheap price. The bikes are good enough, but they don't have gears so going uphill is challenging (and the hotel is uphill from the beach). There are many shopping areas nearby, notably the Del Amo Mall which is only a few minutes away. There is a cvs and a gas station next door. As with all hotels in the area, driving into LA in the morning is annoying, but then again, so is driving in LA in general. It's 30 minutes to the airport without traffic (6 am).

Nice staff, good breakfast, clean overall but furniture needs an update , specially sofa bed. My husband could feel a frame in his back while laying on it. Small pillows and rough towels. Its a quiet place which was a plus!

My husband and I went to California for a short trip to celebrate our anniversary and after researching hotels online, this is the one we chose. We're glad we did. I don't normally leave reviews for anything online, but I felt this place deserved it. Here's why... The location of this hotel is great. We spent our first day exploring the coast to the south, Long Beach, Seal Beach, and Huntington Beach. The next day we explored to the north, Hermosa Beach and a bit past Manhattan Beach. Redondo Beach ended up being our favorite, which was great because it was right down the street from our hotel. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The room was clean, quiet, and had all of the incidentals we needed. The bed and pillows were nice too. There was an elevator... which I know sounds like a silly thing to mention, but our room was on the third floor, so we really appreciated not having to take stairs every time we wanted to come and go. Overall, this will be where we stay when we want to visit the Redondo Beach area from now on and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place to crash at the end of a day exploring the coast and relaxing on the beach. This Best Western was excellent quality and service. The free breakfast buffet helped to save us money and time. The location is perfect: less than 1 mile to the beach and restaurants. We spent each morning walking the strand by the beach.

We come to this hotel, and only this hotel, when visiting our friends and family several times each year. We can always depend on the rooms being very clean, dependable staff to get the little extras we might need, like extra wash clothes or pillows; very friendly staff, and they always acknowledge our Diamond status.

Nice clean area near beach. Plenty of places to eat. Breakfast included, fruit, breads, eggs, waffle maker, etc. Visiting friend nearby. Great location if you're looking to stay in area. Bad location if you're looking for quick access to freeways as it takes 15 to 20 minutes by street to get to highway so you have to add that to your travel plans. Would stay there again.

We stay her often since it's the nicest hotel for the best price in Redondo Beach, when we visit family. Our room (216) was remodeled, large and very comfortable. It had a table and two comfortable chairs and a large TV. Breakfast is excellent, though it's always very busy. There is a lot of seating in nearby rooms our on the patio. Great location and you can walk to the beach in 10 minutes.

Everything close by. First time visiting LA for my nephew wedding. Very pleasant experience all around . Close to the beach and stores We will return for more visits with our family and friends. Will see you soon.

My teenage son and I stayed here for a week. The staff was extremely friendly. The room was nice and very comfortable. In fact, I have seldom had a hotel bed and pillows that were as comfortable as mine here. The room could be made very dark and cold as I lie it, and it was also very quiet. There were plenty of options to choose from at breakfast, including eggs, potatoes and meat every morning. The pool and exercise room are small but clean. The hotel is within a reasonable but not short walk to the beach and is close to and within walking distance to plenty of restaurants and stores. There is plenty of parking. The only downside for us was the travel to access other places we wanted to visit in LA. In order to get to the closest major highway, it was about 10-20 minutes depending on traffic. Traffic in LA is horrible, but that is certainly not a reflection on the hotel. If we wanted to return to this area, we would definitely stay at this hotel again.

We spent two nights of our California vacation in this hotel. The room was nice and functioned for our family. The bathroom area was large enough and the fridge in the room was a larger size dorm fridge than some other locations. The outside area was clean and the hotel is located close to many eating and other options. The breakfast at the hotel is on point!! We love it!! Great selection, clean area, and well-stocked.

Wonderful hotel. The Best best western plus. We visit about six times a year and when we are in Redondo Beach this is the best value and great time. We would recommend it to anybody that is in the area!

Best Western is a really nice hotel, good location to find and handy for LAX airport, clean and modern hotel with a nice pool. Complimentary breakfast was really good. 5 minutes drive to the Redondo Pier and great facilities that Redondo Beach has. There are also about 5 nice restaurants a few minutes walk from hotel. The only point I would make to people thinking of heading to stay in this area is that it is a long drive to the LA attractions in the city so think about what u are planning to do during your stay. We were heading the 30 miles to Hollywood area each day for the Boulevards and Universal etc. It was taking us 1hr and 50mins to drive the 30 miles. A stressful drive on mental busy roads. We would probably have stayed on the North of the City if going to LA again.

Perfectly located to all the beaches especially Redondo Pier and beach. Lots of restaurants in the area. The hotel is quaint and quiet. Small pool, hot tub. Fitness room had one treadmill and stationary bike with leg extension and lat pullup equipment. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Parking outdoors or covered are both available. Rooms are basic and cleaning staff does a great job. Beds were a little hard for me but others may like it. Breakfast is offered with lots of choices. The hit breakfast wad bland but oatmeal and yogurt and other continental issens were available. Overall, our stay was rather nice. We will stay here again since we travel to California often. We even joined their rewards program to earn free rooms in the future.

Wonderful experience from the time I arrived to the time I left. The entire staff was helpful anytime I had a question or had a request. The rates here are very economical and worth every penny. Well located to just about everything - restaurants, shopping, the beach. The property is older, but has been maintained excellently. The grounds are well kept, ample parking, and quiet. Very, very comfortable and large room. Bed was bliss, and their complimentary breakfast was a really nice surprise. They also have two desktop computers/printers that are available to guests, which was really helpful.

Immaculately clean and comfortable. Very near beach, shops, restaurants, a grocery store and drug store. Decent breakfast, gets the job done. Nice staff. Appeared to be plenty of parking. Recommended!

Stayed for 2 nights and although I did not spend much time in the room, it was a safe clean location which is what I seek when traveling. The breakfast was what I expected and there are other restaurants in walking distance.

We really enjoyed our stay at this Best Western. We rented bikes right there at the hotel and rode down along the beach, it's close to the beach and lots of restaurants. The rooms are updated and clean. Breakfast had lots of options: scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, make-your-own waffles, toast & English muffins & pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt, and more. Staff was helpful and friendly. We would stay here again!

My mom lives in PV, but I cannot stay with her because of animal allergies. I have stayed in other places in the South Bay, but like this Best Western the best for proximity, cleanliness, and overall value.

This is a really nice Best Western conveniently located around a bunch of places to dine and snack. The staff is amazing and service is incredible. The breakfast is wonderful with many different options. The rooms are spacious and clean. Everything you can possibly want from a hotel.

We had a wonderful time at this hotel. It was very clean and close to everything we wanted to do. All the staff were friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had a nice stay. My son loved the swimming pool too! Thank you--we can't wait to visit again.

I stayed 3 days. I enjoyed the location and amenities. I wasn't aware when I booked my stay that at least part of the property has outside entrances which I generally don't prefer but this ok- the area is good and the place feels secure. I liked having full breakfast bar included. The room decor, furniture, and linens were nice enough quality and the place seemed recently renovated. Also the WiFi and workout room were on par with the business chain hotels I stay at.

Nice clean place to stay. Very convenient location and easy to find. The breakfast was great with fresh waffles and plenty of food. We would stay there again and get a bigger bed. They do need to fix the ice machine and pop machine but otherwise a very nice stay

The location is very good. I walked from the hotel to Redondo beach it took about 15 minutes. The parking is nice there is also parking under the hotel. The rooms are very nice and there is a microwave and a refrigerator in the King bed rooms. It was cheaper then other hotels in the area and thry serve free breakfast and have a hot tub and pool and a fitness center! I will stay here again when I go back to Redondo beach!

The hotel is clean and well maintained. There is ample free parking and the location is walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast selection was above average with scrambled eggs and potatoes. Overall great stay. I also had a friend stay there a few years ago and they were happy with their stay as well.

My friend paid for two rooms here I arrived first. They told me they needed my credit card just for a deposit, so I could get my rood. Like a dummy I trusted them. I specifically asked two employees 3 times if my card would be charged. They said no. They explained they had my friends card on file. We came, we saw, I got ripped off. They billed my credit card for both rooms! I called them, and they basically told me, "Tough sh**." I will file a complaint with my credit card, and try to spread the word that they're staff are dishonest, ignorant or both. I travel Allot, as does our band. It's the Last time we use Best Western

I was not happy clerk walked away as i was walking in and I had to wait about 10 minutes while he socialized. He also forgot to activate my keys and the TV did not work. Long day got longer. I asked what time was breakfast and gave me wrong info, couldn't wait the extra hour so I ate at McDonalds.

This place really has it all, a 15 minute walk from door to literally standing on the beach. I was greeted by a warm, friendly woman who was both knowledgeable and personable. The breakfast was great and housekeeping was quick and thorough I would recommend this to anyone!

My Wife and I stayed here for 3 nights during a two week trip to California. Overall, rooms were adequate and clean. Simple check-in process with friendly staff. Breakfast was typically continental and the service lady was uber attentive. Recommended

Older place, our room was at the end of hall on detached part of hotel. Watch out for dip in ground for rain drainage! No view, but it was quiet. Bed was very comfortable; better, newer pillows & better lighting at least next to the beds would be appreciated. On the exterior wall heat/cool unit worked fine, cool Dec. day, we turned on the heat. Breakfast was good as per most of Best Western hotels.

Our reservation was made under a Friends and Families discount because we are related/friends with a BW employee. The hotel GM, Rico Pates, refused to honor the discount and locked us out if the room without even attempting to reach us first. When I told the front desk staff, a lady that was very nice the night we checked in but turned very rude all of the sudden, that I was upset about the situation, called and starting yelling at me because I did not qualify for said discount. They asked for a form that it is now required but it was news to me. However, I had stopped by the front desk several times during the day to ask questions, book a tour, etc and none said anything. When the BW employee that made the reservation for me called him, he yelled at her too. He saidt I was acting shady, and that he was going to increase the rate because he didn't think we qualified for the rate we got.Staff at front desk aren't helpful either. They can't even offer directions or information about the area.

We were very satisfied with our stay. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are as well. This hotel was the best Best Western Hotel Plus that we have ever stayed at! Location was perfect! Definitely will stay here again!

Everything was wonderful. Front desk man seemed out of his element though maybe his shift was nearing the end or was his first week or so. TV remote for some reason wasn't working right. Tried taking batteries out and then putting back in. Still not great. At checkout my bill was not yet complete. I added a gift card and it wasn't added yet. Seemed like it was something difficult for staff to figure out instead of them just taking care of it.

The staff at this location is amazing! Very helpful, friendly and accommodating. The rate for the room and service was well paired. The breakfast is good....much better than Double Tree! I hotel stays clean with a fresh smell. Very convenient and walking distance to shops and restaurants.

Total confusion regarding if room had DVD.. on the phone YES, check in YES - in room NO - called desk they brought one up - said one day to connect - took til next day to hook up.. then no Television...

This was my third stay at this hotel and it was again a good one. The Redondo Beach BW Plus is conveniently located on the Pacific Coast Highway near the Redondo Beach/Torrance border. It is very close to the Riviera Village, and convenient to Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, Palos Verdi Peninsula, and San Pedro. There are many shops and restaurants nearby, and the huge Del Amo shopping mall is about 5 miles away. Check-in and out are easy and quick, there is ample free parking, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The free breakfast is top-notch. The outdoor pool is small but nice. The rooms are clean and sizable. Beds, linens and bath linens are good. The bathroom vanity is large. Room furniture is traditional and rooms have good-sized flat-screen TVs. This is not a luxury hotel but a clean, safe, reasonably-priced choic.

We have stayed here before in the exact same room in face. The check in clerk had amazing customer service, but the check out clerk needed a refresher in customer service skills. The beds we'r comfortable and the room was a good size. Everything worked. The shower could have had a bit more water pressure. Almost all the staff we encountered were friendly and greeted us.

Excellent service, helpful staff and convenient location to our activity. The staff was very helpful in recommending nearby locations for meals. We brought another couple for a local half marathon and they were pleased with their room.

A very pleasant stay at the Best Western Plus RB. Location is good out of the traffic of LA. Rooms are clean and a reasonable size. The bathroom is on the smaller size but the rest of the place makes up for it. Pleasant check in by a gentleman who was enthusiastic and friendly. Good shower pressure and hot water, free breakfast with a good variety of food, late checkout and free parking. Pool and small gym area. Good restaurants within 1 - 2 minutes walk, Yum Thai and Ortega 120.

We booked a hotel in Venice beach and it was awful. Luckily best western had a spare room at a half decent price. It was luxury compared to the place that we were going to have to stay. The lady at the reception greeted us really nice. Very professional and would recommend.

We came to California to attend the Green Bay Packer/LA Rams football game and wanted a hotel that was close to the beach and convenient to the stadium and airport. So glad we found this one! The front desk staff was very nice and helpful and the rooms were clean and comfortable. GREAT mattress.... we want one at home! The room is a great size with a table with a couple chairs and a desk. It also had a mini fridge and microwave, which we appreciated a lot. The neighborhood is great! There is a CVS and Corner Bakery Cafe next door and Handel's homemade ice cream. SO GOOD! Just down the street are a few more restaurants (we visited Rock and Brews a couple times) and grocery store nearby. Also we were just a short drive to a great beach neighborhood with shops and more restaurants. The beach is about 10 mins away by car. All and all, it was a great stay. Only “complaint” is that our sink faucet dripped the entire stay.

Stayed here twice before so happy to stay here again for 3 nights before flying home from LAX. Room once again clean and fresh but found shower very awkward to use as very stiff and hard to change between shower and bath. Also thought the bathroom tile in the corners could do with a more through scrub. Breakfast good but very bossy Asian lady running the breakfast room! We had enjoyed our bike rides previously but the old bikes had been renovated I think and now were $10 for 3 hours instead of $5 as before. Passed up this time. Again, another nice stay. A nice hotel with very pleasant staff including the room maids who keep everything spotless. On check out our bill was more then expected due to taxes, etc which I thought made it a bit overpriced for what it is.

I came with my wife last week. The position of the hotel is perfect, between the airport and Los Angeles. The breakfast is massive and fresh food everyday The rooms are big and clean and the receptionist are all very friendly. Definitely 5 stars

Wife and I and our 20 year old daughter stayed four nights during our first visit to California. We had no idea where to stay in LA. We had a couple events to attend around Disneyland, Hollywood, and we wanted to have some beach time. And we wanted something in a safe neighbourhood. For that we had no clue and just crossed our fingers. We also used Priceline to find good prices and Tripadvisor to find good reviews. This place seemed to cover all the bases. And it turned out to be true. The hotel is clean and well kept. The neighbourhood feels quite safe. There's several restaurants within a couple blocks, including an intriguing churro & ice cream place that we unfortunately didn't get to visit. A CVS next door. The breakfast is a very nice hot breakfast, fairly standard for hotels. Breakfast and front desk staff are friendly and helpful. We didn't end up visiting the nearby beach and instead drove up to Santa Monica Pier for what turned out to be our only beach visit. So that means we weren't close to any of our events. And as we discovered, in LA, not being close means driving an 1-1.5 hours to get to anything. But I don't think we would've escaped all that time in the car no matter where we stayed. We were quite happy with this hotel.

The staff was very friendly and allowed me to check in pretty early. They had my room ready when I showed up. It was a fine room. I would say compared to other hotels in the area, it was a little spendy, but not bad. You do get breakfast included and it was a good breakfast.

English family holiday. Good hotel, well managed, good breakfast, perfect for two night stay, close to the beach area. Plenty of parking including underground. Redondo Pier area 5 mins drive away, good beach facilities.

We had the pleasure stay8ng for 3 nights, having spacious connecting rooms. We really appreciated the kind staff, pool and location. In short walking distance to Redondo Beach . Free parking at the hotel. Gas station pharmacy , Subway etc all in a 5 minute walk.

It was a very convenient location for my conference. The hotel was well appointed and good value for the price. Staff was very helpful about places for dining entertainment. All were in walking distance in the village area of Redondo Beach.

a bit pricey, (not good to go down inglewood blvd left ). grew up in this area, mall right behind easy walk 5 minutes lots of places to eat there. not far from beach about 15-20 minutes . about 45 minutes 1 hour to disneyland gpo right up the 91 wesr stay in diamond lane, goes right into disneyland ,

We were impressed with the location on PCH and so close to the beach with plenty do around the vicinity. Room was well kept with an amazing tub. Patio balcony was a plus. Always nice when buffet breakfast is included. Will be staying there again.

Great Location if you are heading to the local beach and communities. Easy to find right off of Pacific Coast Hwy. Hotel sets back off street so nice and quiet. Facility is nicely kept and clean. Pool area was small but had enough tables to relax at & eat breakfast. The breakfast was very good with lots to choose from. Room was spacious with all the amentities needed- very comfortable. Price was a little high for a Best Western- but understandable only due to location. Staff was friendly and helpful.

This was a great little spot to stay. Very close to restaurants and beach. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was very good with a lot of selections. The pool was small, but nice. I would have given 5 stars, but the wifi was very slow and the hot tub was dirty and had a bad smell.

Stayed here for 3 nights after flying in to LA. On highway 1 so easy to find, free parking which is a bonus for this area. Only reason not given a 5 star review, is because the room was a little dark. We had a family room in the block behind the reception, a motel type set up, so no windows, just the entrance door. Room had very slight musty smell I guess because you could not have door or windows open . Other than that, everything was good. We had the hotel breakfast, all self service, everything plastic disposable ( need to be moving away from that!), but a good choice, fruit, cereals, pastries, make your own waffles. The staff were really helpful, gave us a map and marked on walking route to the beach. Pool looked ok, people using it, although we didn't have time. It's in a nice area, good bakery a block away, really good ice cream place. Good stop over place to begin our California trip!

We stayed at this hotel for three nights. It definitely wasn't one of the better Best Western hotels that we've stayed in. The room was very damp and felt that way the entire time we were there. The AC in the room never really got very cool. There was some kind of maintenance being done on the chandelier in the front lobby all 3 days that we were there. They had 2 big ladders standing under it but with all of our in and out I never saw anyone working on it. The Hotel does offer free breakfast, but you have to get down there early or you're racing people to get a table. The seating area is very small. At one point while I was making waffles for my kids I was rudely pushed out of the way by other guests who were trying to make their breakfast. Way too crowded. We did end up sitting by the very small rectangle pool for breakfast twice. It was nice to sit outside to eat. The staff was very nice so that's why I'm giving them 3 stars. I probably wouldn't stay there again and I wouldn't recommend this hotel to a friend.

Ask for a room on the upper floors. Nice pool area with a little jacuzzi in a room next to the pool. The breakfast is just fine and I really recommend a walk (10-15 mins) down to the beach. There are quite many restaurants close by, a 3 mins walk to the closest Wallgreens and a 5 mins walk to the closest Vons.

Good night stay with lots around. Beach is only about 2 blocks away. Pool is a little small but Jacuzzi is good size in own room. Breakfast was good more to offer than other bestwesterns i been to. Waffles!!

The staff is extremely friendly and genuinely want your stay to be a great one.This hotel is geared for business professionals, however, is personable enough for families. Breakfast delivers a variety of cold and hot dishes with items you can take with you if you want a snack later. The rooms are clean, well stocked, modern, and comfortable.

Really large rooms, nice toiletries, hairdryer, very clean, overall it's a little dated but clean and tidy. Good location for Redondo Beach, the Pier is about 3 miles but a nice walk along the beach. Breakfast is good. No proper plates, cutlery or cups all throw away.. good choice tho of cooked and continental foods. Pool is ok, small and cold, gym is good.

Let's face it, many independent hotels can sort of get away with mediocre service and rooms when they are close to a tourist attraction. The BW+ Redondo Beach Inn does NOT subscribe to that mindset. The rooms are super clean, the service is impeccable, and the location is within walking distance from the Pacific Ocean. They serve an excellent breakfast and the front desk staff is very helpful with local recommendations. Treated like royalty every time I have stayed there. Fantastic in every way.

Location, location, location. We needed to be all over the South Bay -San Pedro, Palos Verdes, Redondo, Hermosa, and Manhattan Beach. The location of the hotel made all easy to get to all our destination. Redondo Beach is just a quick 10 min walk. Rooms were clean, and plenty of space. Breakfast was good. We didn't have time for the pool, but it looked clean. Definitely would stay here again, and would recommend to others.

I spent three nights here for work. This is a great location with a store nearby and several cool restaurants and shops. Within walking distance to the beach. The bed was comfortable and clean. I would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed here on several occasions and enjoyed our stay and the great breakfast each time. There are always a lot of people at the hotel and breakfast but the staff is always ready and helpful. Our room was cleaned and serviced bright and early and that long with the good food made our stay very pleasant.

Nice place, walking distance to a couple of restaurants. We only stayed overnight to catch a cruise the next day. However, it was very nice. Room was clean. Staff was very friendly, nice breakfast in the morning.

Our stay at the Best Western Plus in Redondo Beach was just very pleasant all around: great room, great hotel, very good breakfast, friendly staff, very clean, great area (residential, not touristy, near beach / pier, with lots of restaurants). We felt the price was also very good considering the level of quality. If you are on a holiday visiting LA: the hotel is a bit further out from the main LA attractions, but its quality/price ratio definitely makes up for that. Plus it is nice to experience the Redondo area which is not touristy and yet very very nice with lots to do. Anyway, the location is strategic and works out very well if you are also planning to visit Long Beach and Orange County. Would definitely recommend this place!

We only stayed one night but found the hotel to be clean and comfortable. We enjoyed a casual stroll to the beach the next morning before heading home. I would definitely recommend and stay there again if visiting the area.

This location is excellent in all areas as a guest. We always stay at this location when in town. When our oldest son got married we referred to all of our out of town guests to stay at this location and everyone had good things to say about the stay.

The Best Western was centrally located in the Redondo Beach area, close to shops, restaurants, recreation, beach, bike and walking paths and family. Despite the location on busy Pacific Coast Highway, the room was quiet.

Over the past few years I have always chosen this resort when getting away from home. Easily accessible to the beach, great décor, and lots of dining options in the area. Simply my favorite resort in the Los Angeles Area. Will highly recommend to anyone looking for a city stay in the Pacific Coast Highway!

This was our third time at the Redondo Beach Inn, and we had another very pleasant stay. Because of my BW status, we were upgraded to a suite, and it was lovely—spacious, well appointed, and very comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful, the location is great, there's a good free breakfast, and a free parking garage. It's pretty perfect!

This hotel is in need of renovations. The room was dark and musty smelling. This is sometimes the case when rooms have been closed for a while, but the smell would not clear. Staff was good but the place needs updates.

Walking distance to the Strand and great beach. Also lovely upscale beach community surrounding it. Hotel is nice reasonable. Main hotel is a bit nicer than the addition at the back. We stay there every time we are in this area, and it is always consistent.

We checked in late and checked out early the next morning so it was a quick trip, but overall great! The room was very clean. We loved having a refrigerator/microwave in the room. The bed was very comfortable, too. We went to breakfast in the morning after receiving vouchers for free breakfast. I have celiac and have to eat gluten free, but there were not many gluten free options (not cause for a bad review since that does not apply to most people, just FYI). We were very pleasantly surprised - we would stay here again!

Check in was painless and we parked right outside our room. The beds were comfy, big tv and decent wireless. The bathroom was clean and the shower was good. Breakfast wasn't great, fairly poor quality and not a great deal of options. The area is 10 minutes walk to the beach which is nice and busy even at sunset. There's some nice restaurants and shops nearby as well as a gas station and CVS. I would stay again, good value for money in L.A. is hard to find.

We could walk to the beach but we drove. Much closer. Pool not open 24 hrs. No room service but great coffee. Seattles Best is the coffee they use there. They do have bikes to use. The water pressure could be better and I asked for a balocony room and didn't get one.

A very nice, well run hotel,, Convenietly located, within walking distance of some restaurants. We had an issue with our room that was immediately handled. We would stay there again in the future. Good parking and rooms easily accessible.

We really enjoyed the Motel. It was clean nice amenities, pool, spa, work station and a good breakfast. We forgot our bathing suits but will bring them next time. The staff was pleasant and the grounds were very clean.

Nice place. Very close to where I needed to handle affairs. Room old, but clean. Some items in room needed attention, but the Staff handled them very fast. We had a problem with trying to find out if they had found some important luggage we had left behind. Took until the next day to get an answer? Luckily they had it!!

It is a motel style, each room has it's own entrance. The room was nice and fresh, we took the room with two queen beds. We enjoyed our staying. It is very close to the beach. The breakfast is very simple and not much varieties, the swimming pool is nice although it is a small one but we enjoyed having our breakfast outside when it was sunny. They don't have a restaurant, they serve only breakfast, this is something to take in consideration, but you can find some nearby restaurants. In general I enjoyed my stay and can be my choice next time I visit LA.

This is a decent hotel for the money, with clean rooms, friendly staff, etc.. However, visitors should know that it's on a busy highway in a busy area--it is not really "beach friendly," more appropriate for business travelers on a short trip than tourists hoping to experience the Pacific ocean.

Clean hotel and very helpful staff. Was a late arrival and had some difficulty with parking. However hotel staff allowed parking in an area reserved for their business and it worked out. The location was easy to find.

Since there are many reviews for this property, I'll just highlight that this place is a great value in terms of comfortable rooms, great breakfast, and cleanliness for the price. Our 5 night stay averaged $130/night for a king room. We have been looking for a convenient place to visit the grandchildren for a week at a time and this is it - we'll be back!

The property is located within walking distance of the beach and Redondo Beach Pier and the beautiful drive through Palos Verdes. Amenities include free parking on site and an excellent hot and cold buffet breakfast. There is a very good Mexican Restaurant (Ortega 120) and Grail Churros & Ice Cream a few doors away from the Inn. The location gave us the chance to drive south through Long Beach and also north to do sightseeing at Getty Center and Griffith Park. Beds were comfortable and the room was spacious and clean. Staff was very friendly. Overall an excellent value for the area.

My mom and I stayed 2 nights here, while visiting family in Rancho Palos Verdes. This hotel is very close to the beach and the staff were very friendly. The beds were very comfortable. I will definitely return to this hotel.

This hotel is located at walking distance of the beach and there are plenty of places to eat and drink around. The property is clean and the rooms very spacious. It also has a heated outside pool and a jacuzzi which works just great after a beach day or driving around LA. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only downside is that rooms are not equipped with security boxes.

Wonderful experience from the time we arrived to the time we left. The entire staff was happy and helpful anytime we approached them for any reason. An "older" place to stay which has been maintained excellently. Very, very comfortable room! Our next trip to Redondo Beach will include another stay at the Best Western Plus!

Just spent 4 nights here. Service was excellent. Room was comfortable and very clean. I enjoyed having some healthy choices at the breakfast buffet. Even in January the pool was warm and refreshing. I meant to try out the on-site gym. It looked like it had everything I would use. However, the sun and warm weather beckoned me to the beach, which is less than 10 minutes away, walking. I also enjoyed the many Asian restaurants within walking distance, especially Yum Thai and Pho Show. I arrived from the East Coast at night. Arrived at the Inn at 10 PM. I was wondering if the drive from LAX would be too far. It only took about 25 minutes. It took 35 minutes driving back to LAX at midday. I'll definitely stay here again when I'm in the Los Angeles area.

This is a lovely hotel in a very nice location. The beach is a quick 5 minute drive away and there are many excellent restaurants nearby. The front desk staff were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast was pretty standard but hearty and good. We didn't swim but the pool area was nice. Our only issue was that the WiFi was not terribly reliable. Overall our visit was excellent.

I recommended this to my friends, a couple from Australia because I've had lots of good stays at BWs in the U.S. and in Europe, and they really liked it. No frills, but comfortable, nice staff, clean, and close to the beach and shopping. My friends love to walk and enjoyed poking around Redondo, the pier, restaurants, etc. and it was only a few minutes away for us to pick them up. They'll come again!

The location is the reason to stay here (though the hotel is on a busy street, which can be noisy)—walking distance to the Riviera shops & restaurants or to Handel's Ice Cream and minutes by car to Palos Verdes. Nice selection of breakfast items and good beds. The rooms themselves, though, are dark and dated—they could use a complete overhaul, especially in choice of paint colors. Would stay here again because of location but would be glad to leave, too.

Did not feel any passion and welcome from staff behind Front Desk. GM should work on his/her staff. The only smile we'd received is from Breakfast lady. Good location, good room but not getting any welcome and smile from staff. However, I did enjoy a nice walk to beach and see the sunset, many restaurants nearby with nice coffee shop next door. This is a motel. A Straightforward motel. Redondo Beach has a limited selection of quality and higher end accommodations. This allows for small and much older motel style businesses to stay relevant. It is changing with a couple new builds near the marina/pier area...but along pch you have expensive a dated spots like this BW. It is within walking distance to a few restaurants like Ortega120 (great margaritas) and the Original Pancake House (best in southbay), Rock n Brew (sports and rock n roll) The RB downtown is pretty close too....10 minute walk and you are in village center....Beach 12-15 min.

If you are looking for clean, great value and decent amenities in the nice Redondo/Torrance PCH village area - this hotel is great. Also short walk to beach and restaurants. The BW Plus has clean rooms and friendly staff, as well as convenient pool, and mini breakfast buffet

Fabulous, decently priced motel with great location and proximity to the beach. Quiet rooms and very helpful, responsive staff. OH, and they have cruiser bikes to rent for really cheap, too! We had a fun family bicycle ride to and along the beach! Great free breakfast included. Hot tub and pool are really nice, too. We will definitely return to this motel!

We had a very nice stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and personable. Our room was clean and quiet, (slept very well) Breakfast was very good, lots of choices and the eating area was nice. (A breakfast service lady was so nice and helpful when my wife wasn't feeling well and remembered to ask the next day, how she felt. She was very kind and personable. These type of acts are what people remember, and it's what will make me want to stay here again and recommend this hotel to others.) I feel like I received a good value for my money. It's my second stay here and I'm very happy with my experience.

We have stayed here several times when visiting family in the South Bay. It is convenient to where we need to go. Only it is not pet friendly. Wish it was. The ticket needed for breakfast is a bother. I feel it is unnecessary.

I hadn't been here before but since I had business in the area I gave it a try. Glad I did. Everything was very good, nice room, nice TV with good channel choices, good house keeping. They charge a little more for a room with a balcony. I did that but the balcony sure is tiny. I won't do that again. Breakfast was very good.

Arrived here after flight from UK and drive from LAX. So pleased to be here! Friendly, helpful staff. Clean, spacious rooms, very close to a couple of restaurants and only 10mins walk from the fantastic Redondo Beach - the reason we chose to stay at this hotel anyway. Good car parking, good breakfast. If you're new to this area, leave the car at the hotel and stroll to/from the beach. Plenty of cafes & restaurants along the way. Take a slightly different route there & back. We were there in October: out of season, so the beach was almost empty, but the weather was warm & the sky was cloudless. A perfect 1st morning in the US. I must say that we stayed at 2 other BW Plus hotels during our stay. The one in Williams, AZ, was so much better than BW Plus Redondo Beach and the other one. (And not as good as BW Plus in the UK.) But still, BW Redondo Beach was a great choice as a 1st night. Superb location for the beach and good value too.

This property was clean and centrally located to where I needed to be, staying close by our family was very convenient. The breakfast was above my expectations and very helpful to get the day started without going to a restaurant or going to the relatives and getting in their way. I was able to add a third day without any issue and the staff was pleasant and courteous about the whole issue.

Hotel was great - next door to a CVS and a couple of food places. Short 10 walk to the beach. Staff were helpful and friendly and they put on a good breakfast. Heated pool and spa with a gym area spa, plenty of car spaces.

Great Hotel in a great location. Redondo beach if you haven't visited Los Angeles is a real must. The city is small quaint and has some great shopping, restaurants, bars and off course a fantastic beach. The hotel is located in a very nice area of L.A with the beach only being a 10 minute walk away. The room we stayed in was nice and big with king size bed and separate bathroom. The hotel has both a pool and Jacuzzi pool which is a great place to relax. Breakfast was also very good with reception helpful with all our questions and queries. I must mention Mia on reception she was a staff member who stood out above the rest by leaps and bounds and from the moment we checked in and throughout our stay made us feel so welcome, the only sad thing was we missed her on check out and didn't get to say goodbye. She certainly is a real asset to the hotel. This is certainly a great hotel and was a great way to end our vacation whilst vising the USA and certainly wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

This is a motel with a small swimming pool. The rooms were spacious and clean but nothing outstanding. Breakfast was pretty basic and the dining area is small for the size of the hotel. Location was quiet and not far from the beach. Location close to the airport without the airport noise was great. We felt completely safe. The location and the staff were the best thing about the hotel. The staff were very helpful and polite at all times and could not be faulted. Yes I would stay here again.

I really enjoyed the amenities and service at the Best Western Plus Redondo Beach. First time there and I will be back. The free breakfast was very complete and enjoyable. The Sunday morning staff were super helpful and kind :)

We stayed here for 6 nights during our recent trip and I have to give them 5 out of 5 stars! The entire hotel was very clean, bed was comfortable, staff was helpful (we needed extra towels every night) and the breakfast choices were amazing. So many different options, you cannot leave hungry. I would stay here again without a doubt.

This was a comfortable, spacious and convenient place to stay to explore the surrounding area. The room was clean, well laid out, well equipped with a full size fridge and a microwave and everything else one would expect. We stayed for 8 nights and were very happy with service. The only thing I found niggling was the plastic knives and forks for use at breakfast. I appreciate the time saving element but am sad to see so much more plastic being unnecessarily introduced into an already saturated environment. Apart from that, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to other travellers.

Hotel staff were great. Full breakfast available offered a good variety and the breakfast supervisor was very helpful. The location was especially great with a 7 minute walk to the Redondo Beach. This was our 5th stay at the hotel and we would definitely go back again. Good value for the money.

We chose this hotel because it was central to everything we wanted to do and see.. The hotel has been renovated and our room was huge and clean with wonderful updates.. The front desk people could not have been nicer or more helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast and the bikes were also great to sight see the entire area. It was within walking distance to downtown and plenty of shopping and choices to dine. There are plenty of other hotels around but this one had such a nice vibe i would definitely recommend it and i will definitely stay here when i return!

The hotel had scheduled power and water outages on two days and did not tell us when we made our reservations. Water outage lasted longer then we were told. Also after water came back the toilet was broken. Hotel is basically a motor in and way to expensive for the quality.

Nice, clean and spacious rooms. Breakfast bar had numerous selections. small but nice fitness center. Best part for me was the bikes that were available for rent. Front Desk employees were always helpful and courteous.

We recently moved to San Clemente and I had to return to Redondo Beach for 2 doctors appointments on separate days. Chose to stay at this property as it was close to doctors and close to our favorite dinner spot. The hotel was very nice, room was very clean and furnished nicely. Bathroom a tad small but for our needs it was fine. I did not partake of the breakfast, only coffee, but from what I could see, it looked very nice. We will definitely stay at this property again.

The rooms have been upgraded, the decor is pleasand and caters to nowadays needs. We found everything comfortable and clean. The location is very convenient on PCH, next door in walking distance is a CVS and a bakery. Breakfast was plentyful and enough choices. We only would have preferred real plates and utensils and not paper and plastic products, which create a lot of waste, plus the fact that it is not appetizing to eat from/with.

This is a Best West Plus built and decorated very much in the typical Best West house and brand style. This one is clean and welcoming and has everything going for it. Clean and welcoming we were allocated a really large comfortable room. Soft furniture, decent lighting, big Sony tv, nice bathroom, decent towels. It is on a convenient main road but not noisy. Several little seating retreats around the hotel if you want a room break. Actually there are plenty of restaurants immediately around, can walk to the beach in 15 minutes, CVS and supermarkets also walkable. Area is very residential so the streets are safe. Hotel has pool, spa and gym. Definitely I would recommend if you want to stay in the area. Issue I found is the terrible LA roads. If you want the local beaches and malls or need to drive south toward San Diego then no problem. However driving up toward Hollywood is not something I wanted to suffer twice. This Best West however is great and would recommend to anyone.

The lobby and check in area was clean and welcoming. Plenty of parking to register. They also had underground parking. The room was large and had a desk and a small table for meals. One king size bed. It handled our needs for the two nights that we were there. It's a great location for those wanting to visit the south bay area. Close to shopping and the beach.

Needed an inexpensive overnight after flying from Europe. It was a bit further from the airport then I expected (about 20-25 minute drive) but was well priced and worth it time. Room was typical. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Parking was free and plentiful. Service was good and breakfast was excellent. Property about one mile from beach. Would stay again.

This was our first stay at Best Western Plus Redondo Beach Inn. We stayed three nights and the accommodations could not have been better. The room was so very quiet with all the amenities needed. Air-conditioner/heater worked great and even the clock radio. We plan to use it as our area hotel from now on.

This hotel was above and beyond our expectations in every catagory The front desk clerk was more than happy to check us in early when we arrived at 11:00 AM. The room was ready , it was clean and well stocked with the usual things. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. Bathroom area was very clean with plenty of towels. The breakfast buffet was well stocked , every thing was fresh and the quality was good. This hotel is located right next to a CVS pharmacy and a Handels Ice Cream shop and several restaruants within a very short walk. This hotel is top notch in every catagory with one small exception , CHEAP TOILET PAPER, other than that there is absolutley nothing I can complain about. If you are in Redondo Beach this is your best option .

Stayed here for four nights and was very pleased with the accommodations! The staff was very friendly and the room was clean and good sized. The breakfast was included with the room and although not gourmet, very generous with multiple selections. The rooms all have doors to the exterior, so it was more like a motel to me. The pool was nice, small but clean and refreshing. I would certainly return.

Heat place, good people and great location. Have stayed here before and will again. A larger breakfast room might be better. Nice place for families with chrildren. Close to the beach and Costal highway.

Nice location, within walking distance to Riviera. Clean. Good breakfast. Shower was nice and big. Loud AC and given wrong room/room keys at check-in, went to open door, was already cracked open with people in it. Staff was very apologetic, was not a big deal, this is only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 though.

This is my second stay at this hotel and it was just as pleasant as my first visit. The beds were comfortable, bathroom fairly clean and the TV was clear. breakfast was excellent; hot food was hot and cold food items were cold.

I really am impressed on how they have kept us this Inn. The last time we stayed here it was probably around 10 years ago and it still is super nice. Loved the free breakfast and the staff was really sweet and helpful. Love the location. Can walk to the beach and the quaint part of town. The bikes for $5. for 3 hours are a nice way to get out and exercise on the beach. Will definitely stay here again and again. :-)

Very clean, smelled clean-not disinfected- but clean. Air conditioner and fan worked for circulation and noise control at night. This helped me sleep. The part that was also excellent is the great restaurants on either side of the hotel and a CVS right there, as well. Plus Miramar Park - is a beautiful beach within about 6 blocks, a lovely to place to go between business appointments.

We chose this because after an 11 hour flight arriving at 5 pm we didnt want to be driving all the way to San Diego in the evening. The hotel has a smart reception, nothing grand. Receptionist very friendly and helpful. The rooms are arranged in a motel like system on two floors around the reception. They were clean and spacious. It's close to small local restaurants, but on a main road which you couldnt actually hear the traffic from when you were in your room. There is a small swimming pool at the side of the hotel We didnt stop for breakfast, but it is available in the restaurant Free wifi We had a king room, $114 plus tax

We spent two nights here last week and I look forward to coming back, although I'm not sure that we could all fit into one room as our small kids will be bigger. I did ask Jon about this during checkout and he mentioned that we could consider a king bed with a pullout sofa. I felt that the room was great, internet connection was solid, breakfast buffet was worth staying here for versus going offsite, and we had an overall pleasant stay. All of the staff that we encountered were friendly and courteous as well. The location is nice as it's not far from Redondo or Hermosa Beach, as well as a short drive to Torrance where there are restaurants and Del Amo Mall. One little hiccup on our final day was the fire alarm going off in our room at about 530am, four separate times in an hour. It was rough but we dealt with it as we were leaving that day. Upon learning it was a false alarm I called the front desk and we were offered a new room, but we didn't want to pack up and move. I mentioned this incident during checkout (not complaining or angry at all because I get it- it happens) and Jon was kind enough to give us a credit on our bill. Unexpected but very much appreciated! I absolutely recommend staying at this BW!

We have stayed here many times over the past decade when in the area. It never disappoints. There were a couple days where the hotel was pretty full and yet they handle things. The staff is top-notch and even helped me with a technical issue associated to my personal PC. I really appreciated their help.

Good central location for easy access to business customers in surrounding communities. Will stay at Best Western locatios hereafter because of excellent overall accommodations and amenities. Will recommend to associates.

I stayed there for one night while visiting friend in the area. Everything was great. The room was very spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very good and enough options for those wanting to eat healthy. I particularly want to acknowledge Jon at the front desk who was so nice upon check in. You don't always get such friendliness from front desk folks and it was certainly nice to see. All is all a great hotel. I will definitely stay there again next time I come to visit! One small detail if hotel management is reading this ... many hotels have some sort of night light in the bath room, often as part of the hair dryer. Perhaps you would consider the possibility of making this change.

You can always depend on this hotel for the best service from the moment you check in until check-out. Staff is the friendliest, and will go out of their way to accomplish something you might need. Rooms are very clean and spacious. We have stayed here for many years when in town visiting our family. We see so many of the same faces so glad to see you! That's nice. There are many hotel choices in this area, and many much closer to our destination; but we never give it a second thought as to where we want to stay. Thank you!

On my visits to LA from Australia I always stay here as the location is so good been adjacent to the marina and also a relatively safe neighborhood. This hotel is ideal for a family stay. The airport is an easy commute. The tour companies can be pick you up at the door to go to Universal Studios and Disneyland plus other attractions. Close by their are many nice restaurants cafes and bars. The rooms are well appointed and clean. In addition a nice pool for that dip on a hot day.

We stayed overnight to arrive at the LA Kings 5K walk early in the morning. I've wanted to stay here last year for the walk but it was completely booked. The rooms were very comfortable but what really made our day was the excellent breakfast provided the next day. The eggs were fantastic. Would recommend this hotel for price and convenience of location.

Love the Hotel and Crew working it , there wasn't nothing we couldn't ask for that they wouldn't take care of all right down to the honey for coffee. Peaceful and comfortable sleep, quiet and restful before our 5K walk. Employees were very nice, knowledgeable and eager to help and notice you.

We have stayed at this Best Western before, and have come back a couple of times in the last year. It is close to the beach and restaurants (only a bike ride away). The hotel is always clean, pool and spa are kid friendly. All in all its always a good stay away from home.

If you're looking for a clean, tidy, comfortable hotel with a nice breakfast at an affordable price - book this place. It's not posh and fancy, but it's great and I'd definitely stay here again if in the area.

Very nice place ! Clean, affordable, well located, free parking indoor and outdoor, good (free) breakfast and also a small swimming pool/Jacuzzi: I would certainly go back there. I liked the location with easy access to several highways for Long Beach, San Diego, LA and Las Vegas. There are also supermarkets closeby (3 mins walk and 3 mins drive).

I am not sure how this hotel got the designation of Plus because the rooms are very dark and old. That being said everyone of the staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was good. Wifi was good. Pool is small but nice to relax in the afternoon. Plenty of parking. Central to everything and not far from LAX. Probably would not stay again but was adequate.

A nice hotel, close to good beaches and a good starting point to explore LA. Clean facilities, nice pool and helpful staff. Rooms could be a bit more up to date, but comfy beds and very clean. About a 45 min drive from the Disney parks. But only 10 mins to the closest nice beaches.

A very comfortable hotel. A breakfast buffet was provided at no extra charge. The room was updated and very clean and comfortable. Less than one mile from the beach and close to several restaurants. The hotel is located next to a drugstore, lunch café and an ice cream store!

I stay here on quarterly business trips to the area. All staff members are always friendly and bend over backwards to accommodate me. I always stay in an interior room and the rooms are cleaner than a lot of the 5 star hotel rooms I stay at. The staff takes so much pride in what they do. Added bonuses--CVS, Corner Bakery and Yum Thai (Thai restaurant) are next door and Riviera Village is about a 10 min walk away.

This hotel exceeded our expectations! For what I thought would be a very basic property turned out to be extremely comfortable, clean and lovely. The breakfast was by far the best hotel breakfast we had during our holiday (where we stayed in a total of ten hotels). There was a great selection and everything was delicious. We only wish that we had stayed in a few more Best Westerns and certainly won't hesitate to do so in the future.

We stayed here for 6 nights as a family and had 3 rooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were large, clean and well equipped with everything we needed, including iron and ironing board. Breakfast was plentiful although like many hotels we were a bit bored with it after 6 mornings. Not much variation. The little woman who looked after the breakfast area in the morning is a credit to the hotel. She ran a very tight ship and was constantly cleaning and organising people. We noticed a difference on our last 2 mornings when sh had days off, her replacement didn't keep on top of clearing the tables . The location of the hotel is excellent for the. Each only 10 min walk and to some local restaurants. Especially the ice cream shop next door where there are queues every day. Altogether a fantastic end to our trip around America.

This is our second time here in a years time. Spotless and comfortable rooms with top notch front desk. The house keeping is exceptional and I cant say enough how clean it is in the rooms. Thank you to the staff !!! So amazing . The one down side was the free breakfast - it wasn"t as good this time around. In fact my teenage daughter burnt her hand on the waffle iron handle ( rubberized). So yes, it gets hot.- please supply a oven mitt. we found green pieces of egg in our egg dish. I rec. going to the many places in town serving wonderful breakfast in all price ranges. You can walk to anything and everything - including shops, eats, and beach. This time we used the pool- and it was wonderful and refreshing - and the hot tub was nice and warm and wonderfully secluded. The parking was free and always plenty of space any time day or night. This hotel is deserving of a award in this area- for their service. Thank you so very much . I shall return .

We were in the South Bay / Redondo Beach area for a friend's retirement, and stayed the night at the Best Western. The exterior appearance was very nice and parking was easy. The hotel staff were very pleasant at check in, and helpful in providing directions when we told her where we were going for the party. The hotel is walking distance to many restaurants and shopping. The room was clean, a little tight in the bathroom area for two people, but overall the room itself was plenty big, and came with a refrigerator and microwave. Breakfast was provided (I liked that they issued tickets for breakfast so you that everyone there was actually a BW customer). The breakfast area was clean and the food was fresh. It's been a while since we've stayed at a Best Western, and we were pleasantly surprised and happy with our decision. If traveling in this area again, we will stay at this BW Plus again. We are scheduled to stay at a BW Plus in Seattle and hope that it is as pleasant of an experience as we had at Redondo Beach BW.

This was my first visit to the USA and I chose this hotel online as it looked to be in an area not too far from LAX and close to beaches etc. Not quite right! The hotel is actually in Torrance and the beach is about 2 miles away. The breakfast, as I found on my travels, is a standard hotel breakfast with cereal, fruit (canned and fresh) waffles, eggs etc. Even though the room was clean and the beds comfortable, the whole place looks in need of redecorating. Everything looks a bit weary. There were children enjoying the pool which looked nice and clean. There are bikes for guests to hire. Seems like a very busy hotel with good parking and family friendly. Thre are public bus stops outside on either side of the road which we used and the route goes from LAX to Long Beach so for the USD$1.75 that was a good way of travelling, if you are comfortable on public transport.

This hotel served as our launching pad for activities in West Hollywood and Burbank, while still being close to the beach. It wasn't walking distance for me, about one mile, I think, but it's a short drive, and will be walkable for many people. A benefit of the exterior corridors is they afford beautiful views as you go in and out of your second floor room. This nice Best Western is located in the heart of Redondo Beach. Our room was quiet and comfortable, with a wardrobe and a large granite vanity. The room was dark and poorly lit, which is just a personal pet peeve for me. Hot water was available in the lobby in the evenings, which made for a nice cup of tea after enjoying time soaking in the indoor hot tub. It was in its own glassed-in adjoining building, and overlooked a small pool. It was too chilly for me in November, but others were enjoying it. Having a breakfast buffet included was an added value, but I didn't think it was that great ( hubby did, tho.) The hotel property was well-maintained and we felt safe. We were also able to park very close to our room. Drug stores and quite a few restaurants are within a few blocks, and it's just a mile or two from Rock and Brews, Pacific Coast Highway location. Apparently, they were renovating a couple of suites while we were there, and we got a peek in. Niiiice!! Would revisit for sure!

What a pleasant stay! My daughters and I ENJOYED EVERYTHING! I did not have super high expectations and was totally WOWed by the cleanliness, staff and service. We had to stay overnight in the area and though I was tempted to choose a luxury beach hotel, my budget was a concern. So I decided to stay at this Best Western and I must say, it was beyond just a standard, low-key motel-like place. (I skipped on The Portofino and saved some bucks!) POSITIVES: * Room was super clean. * Mini fridge was extra spacious and perfectly cold. * Beds were clean and comfortable. * Good closet and bathroom counter (for us girls, this counts) *Water temp and pressure in shower/bath was excellent! * Well stocked towels, extra blanket, soaps, etc. * Air conditioner worked well * Complimentary breakfast was pretty awesome! Waffle irons for waffle making, plenty of toppings for hot oatmeal or cold yogurt choices. Fruit selection was abundant in bananas and apples. Newspapers offered to read while having your breakfast and coffee. Oh, coffee and tea choices were good. Scrambled eggs, potatoes and such were better than expected. Great location too, right near the beach, pier and restaurants.

Very clean & nice hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Upon check -in the desk person gave me a map of the area so I could find restaurants, etc. This hotel is very close to Redondo Beach & some great restaurants. It's also very close the Manhattan Beach area. I would definitely stay here again if I'm in the area.

Overall a decent hotel, not luxurious but the price reflects this. A decent breakfast every day with a good enough choice. Pool is small. Plenty of parking so you can be near your room. Rooms are not overly big, so with two adults and a child and all of our bags it was a bit tight for a few days. I would however stay here again

Everything about the hotel is what we expected, From Nice bright reception, Warm and friendly welcome from the front desk, Clean and spacious room through to the cleaning staff who were always polite and said Hello. We felt very safe in the neighbourhood and there plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. For breakfasts there was something for everyone from cereals,Eggs,Waffles and pastries The pool area was small but in the middle if July was never busy. Parking was free and plenty of spaces. Back to the staff : When you ask the Front desk staff for change to use the Vending machine not only does he do it but then goes to the machine to get it for you!! Small things like that go a long way. No complaints about this great Hotel

Love this property! The employees are always very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast is an attractive amenity. This will always be our "go to" property when we are in the South Bay. There is ample parking and it is close to restaurants and tourist attractions.

We stayed here at the end of a US trip due to the location being relatively near LAX and the beach. The accommodation was clean and the hotel very good value for money with excellent service. The pool was good for the kids. The breakfast area gets very busy and congested due to its layout so get there early if you are in a hurry.

it was great, free breakfast every morning, all kinds of great food, close to the beach. I loved it! free wifi! The employees who work there are very polite and are of great knowledge of area and what to see and do. I could not have stayed at a better place.

Hair and grime in the bath tub and very high summer rates made what normally would be a pleasant stay somewhat less than that. Otherwise, the proximity to both the beach and family make this our usual place to stay in Redondo.

I stayed here for work. It was pretty close to the beach (5-10 min. drive or a $5 Lyft). The place was crawling with kids and tweens. I guess lots of vacationing families chose this place as a launching point to redodndo beach and the other sites of LA. Not a bad choice for families but if the occasional crying baby or the sounds of kids playing or tweens "tweening" irritates you, stay somewhere else. I don't really mind this it's just not what I'm used to at the places I normally stay.

Good hotel for the price. The location was excellent: CVS next door; plenty of places to eat in walking distance; and a mile from the beach. The pool is small, but big enough to get wet and not be crowded. The only negative (which is minor) was the treadmill did not work well. Would stay here again!

Great Service and really quiet. I was able to rest and get what I needed. Family really love the pool but the best part was the beach was in walking distance. Before the beach I hit the gym and loved it. Everything this place had gave My family and I a great little get away.

This hotel was a good place to stay for a visit with some friends in the area. It is fairly easy to get to and was more than adequate as we really only used it for sleeping and a quick breakfast. We would use it again when in the area.

I have stayed at BW Redondo Beach, CA twice before and would definitely stay there again. The entire staff is competent, caring and extremely professional. The location of the hotel makes is very convenient for getting around both LA and Orange counties.

I was disappointed with my stay here after being recommended by a couple of people. The room was not worth the price. The bathroom was way too small. Could hardly move in it. The beds were full size when i thought they would be queen size. And the worst part of all, the room always felt damp and musky. Will not be staying here again.

I was frustrated because somehow the date got switched for check in on the website. Within five minutes of the mistake, I called the hotel. The person I spoke to wouldn't help me so I lost $200 based on a click.

We had a very pleasant stay on our vacation here. Our room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The pool and hot tub were nice as well. The only thing is they don't have a washer and dryer on site but was able to find a closeby coin laundry mat. All in all I would highly recommend this hotel..

I did enjoy from the stuff and area and beach. Meanwhile I really do like to close the everything and i did my business on time. But I think for better result you hotel have to put some more vending machine and ice machine. the wGym is need more fan too.

This hotel is in a great location - near restaurants, shopping and the beach. The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean. The staff was friendly. We did not eat the free breakfast but the coffee was good and hot.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, nicely decorated and very clean. The complimentary breakfast was very good and varied. The personnel was friendly and helpful. The neighbourhood sound was safe and had some restaurants close by. Location was good for us to visit various LA areas. We will come back!

Stayed 2 nights with friends! Great location to the beach, had a taxi into the town for dinner! Hotel was clean, great breakfast, pool very small but needed as it was very hot! Sat outside for breakfast on both mornings! Staff in resturant were very good and accommodating, reception staff helpful for other things to do and see in the local area!

Quality and attention to detail and cleanliness make this a very nice place to put your holiday into high gear example at 7am thir was a women sweeping under cars for tiny leaves and pool guy is on property keeping levels right on location wonderful for beaches as well shopping

This was our second stay at this hotel The staff are always great. The breakfast is really good and they don't want you to leave hungry. Hotel is always very clean and well kept. Beds were comfortable. Only complaint was you could not get a room that had two queens or two king sized beds to accommodate four adults. The largest beds they had were double's.

Our family came out for a wedding in Rancho Palos Verdes. Although it was held at a nearby resort, staying there was prohibitive because of the high price. We were amazed and happy that the bride had recommended Best Western. We not only loved the reasonable price, but all the amenities as well! We prefer to stay in town when we travel and like the opportunity to walk to places for variety and exercise.

Using a AAA discount we brought our Friday/Saturday Night stay to under $300.00 with taxes and including a nice buffet meal at breakfast. The pool was small but enclosed to break the winds which was nice. The bed was comfortable and all in-room amenities were in working condition. The location wasn't exactly downtown or with an ocean view .We walked about 3/4 to `1 mile to get to the downtown area and to the beach . The downtown had a mix of dining experiences and a CVS(drug store) , gas station, subway sandwich shop were 500 yards away. The best part to our amazement was that you do not have to battle traffic to LAX if you follow Pacific Coast Highway to Sepulveda and 25 minutes later you're at the airport. The crowd at the hotel ranged mostly from 45-70. It was an in between stop for most people.If you don't get a deal with room and board, the breakfast will cost you $12.50 each. It is an all you can eat buffet, but the items are filling but not an overwhelming dining experience.

We stayed for about $180 for a double. We requested a crib and they were great about bringing it to us as soon as we arrived. The bathroom flush is loud and you can hear your neighbors if they speak loudly (as ours did) but in general it felt like a safe, responsive hotel. The breakfast includes scrambled eggs, ham, potatoes and you can make yourself waffles. There's also cereal and yogurt, apples, bananas, and oranges. Go down for breakfast on the early side to get a seat in the main dining area - otherwise you end up in the overflow area.

We came in for one night, the staff treated us like regulars and the king bed helped with the jet lag. Its close to the beach and had plenty of pubs and restaurants in the area. The night life was fun in the area. We came in late after enjoying the night and the night attendant was pleasant and even joked around with us. The breakfast was simple but very good. Check out was even easier.

Breakfast buffet was the best part of this stay! Wow! Very impressed with the selection and quality of food- one of the best free breakfast buffets I've had. Room was fine, clean and staff was accommodating. Pool was smaller than expected. But for the price in this area, I would stay here again.

I come to Redondo Beach and Torrance at least once or twice a year. In the past I stayed at a Hilton. I was very disappointed in it, so thought I would try this Best Western that someone suggested. It was less money, clean, comfortable and offered a breakfast. I was going to have a car available to me starting the second afternoon, so that morning I walked to the beach. It was closer than I realized! I will stay here again!

Visited family in the area and first time staying here. Hotel's location, amenities and staff were great. Good parking with very easy access. Nice outdoor pool. Near many places to go; restaurants, walking, shopping.

We always stay at this hotel when we visit Redondo Beach. The grounds are impeccably kept, the staff are friendly, the free breakfast excellent (good variety), pool and deck area are nice ( a little small, but still functional). Centrally located so you can walk to downtown Redondo or you can use the bikes they provide to go down by the Oceanside and ride down to the pier and onto the Strand in Hermosa & Manhatten beaches. Only criticism....they should replace the bikes soon. They're getting really old and mine broke down on a ride.

We've stayed at this hotel fairly frequently since it's so close to family. Usually the rooms and service are pretty good for the price, which is moderate for being so close to the beach. This particular stay was not typical. Everything was fine except for the bed which was very disappointing to both myself and my wife. It obviously need to be replaced. It was so lumpy that my back ached the whole time we were there and neither of us got much sleep.

Excellent room, very large. If you like a firm mattress the bed was not only very comfortable but HUGE! Room had fridge and microwave. Good choice of food at breakfast - all staff very helpful and friendly. Hire bike additional bonus means you don't have to walk to the beach. Pool and jacuzz small but adequate. This hotel is the best choice for the South Bay in Southern CA. Convenient and well maintained. The cleanest in the Best Western chain with a wonderful, friendly and helpful staff. The hotel has comfortable rooms, a nice breakfast and easy parking. We stay here frequently.

Awesome place we loved it the food was delicious with a good selection. Very clean, kind friendly staff. We had a wedding to attend and most of our family stayed there. BW allowed us to gather in the lobby and catch up with everyone. We also had a medical emergency and had to move to a hotel in Santa Monica so we could be near the hospital our Aunt was admitted to. BW was very gracious and understanding and allowed us to check out 1 night early and didn't charge us for the last night nor did they charge us fees for less than 24 hour notice of check out. Very grateful for their understanding and compassion in a difficult situation.

This hotel was wonderful. We stayed here for 7 nights from 4th April 2017. It is a short walk to the gorgeous beach and on the way to the beach you pass plenty of restaurants which is great. The staff were always friendly and helpful and there is such a nice happy atmosphere at this hotel. The front desk manager, Rico, was super helpful during our stay and helped us so much with where to go and place to see as it was our first time to LA. He went out of his way to help me decorate the room for my partner as it was a surprise for his 30th birthday and on arrival had birthday balloons and champagne in our gorgeous room. There is a lot on offer at the complimentary breakfast and the staff there were always happy to help. The pool and spa area is clean and well maintained and was wonderful to relax in after a busy day exploring LA. The hotel rents out bikes which we made great use of as it is so easy to get around using the bikes. The room was spacious and clean and the large bed we had was very comfortable. Overall fantastic stay and I would highly recommend this hotel. It really made our holiday of a lifetime even more special.

Best free breakfast of any hotel stay! The eggs were real, offered fresh fruit, pancakes with many toppings and oatmeal with many toppings. Would definitely stay there again especially because of the friendly staff, comfortable beds and the real breakfast!

Very nice and accommodating hotel staff. Very nice location. If you would need something there is a plaza in walking distant right next to hotel. Wifi was sometimes hard to stay connected and slow. Some decor in rooms could be updated, but overall a very nice friendly staff, nice breakfast buffet and the hotel is clean. I would not hesitate to stay again.

Traditional style motel around the car parks. There's a small pool which was warm, and other fitness facilities but we didn't use those. The room was clean, large & nicely laid out with a big sink & dressing area desperate to the bathroom & toilet. The bed was huge & comfortable, there was a dining area for 2 and fridge. My only moan would be the lack of a safe. Conveniently located 5 minutes from the beach on foot & a half hours walk from Redondo beach pier. Breakfast offered a massive variety of choice, the breakfast ladies were always very busy replenishing everything & were really pleasant. There's a shopping precinct literally next door with several restaurants, a big drugstore & an amazing ice cream shop (A MUST!) but although those amenities are useful there's no noise from there to disturb you at all. Brilliant little gem of a motel, I'd definitely stay there again.

It is in a very walkable location, close to the beach, restaurants and shops. They have clean rooms with plenty of parking. The breakfast is a nice bonus especially considering the price of eating out in the area. Safety felt like a non issue and we are planning on staying again soon.

I found this lovely little gem of a hotel when spending Thanksgiving with my family. It is spotlessly clean, has comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and breakfast buffet which included eggs and breakfast meats. I felt as if I was being treated to "five star service" in a very reasonably priced hotel. I will be back-many times!

Honestly, this hotel made me re-think my previous meh opinion of Best Western. I obviously have not been giving them a chance because the BW Redondo Beach is wonderful. Clean, modern, very spacious rooms, excellent shower, lots of free parking, free breakfast and a very convenient location to restaurants, the beach and LAX. I'm a fan.

We travel a great deal, and this hotel is at the top of our list. We were in town for a wedding, and just picked the hotel based upon location. What a wonderful surprise! Spacious room, delightful staff, double sinks in bathroom (with one king bed) and a delicious breakfast. Easy to park, great lunch place next door -- we couldn't have asked for a more pleasant experience!!! Highly recommended.

I stayed here in late October with my family - two rooms - and found it very comfortable, friendly and good value. Comes with a decent breakfast, free wifi, in-room coffee and always coffee in the reception, spacious rooms, and is generally a well maintained and reliable BW offering. The staff at front desk, and the breakfast staff, all were great - very friendly and helpful. Located about 6 minuites' walk from Redondo Beach, and 2 minutes' walk to the 'Riviera" shopping area - small boutique shops. Easy public transport up and down to other beaches - Hermosa and manhattan beach especially, but Venice and Santa Monica also are 30-40 minites away by regular bus or 15-20 by car/taxi/uber.

My colleague and I popped in with a month's notice and were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness, and overall aesthetic of this hotel. I wasn't sure what to expect with a Best Western but I was very happy with the overall experience. Small fitness center and pool, but again we were only there briefly for a couple of nights. Breakfast was PHENOMENAL. I've never seen a better continental breakfast anywhere. If Duke had not been paying I may have overlooked this spot as it was out of my personal price range, but I'm glad I had the experience!

Spacious room, better than average breakfast included (with real eggs and waffle batter), very friendly and professional staff, great Mexican restaurant next door, larger than average refrigerator and microwave in room. Actually only one complaint: no safe in the room. That would have been nice.

The hotel itself is somewhat dated and could probably use some renovating, but it is clean & comfortable. We were quite happy with our room (2 double beds), which had a desk for work plus a small table with 2 chairs and a decent amount of room. The TV was a decent-size (~ 40") flat screen, and there is a good-sized fridge plus small microwave. The long bathroom counter only had 1 sink, but at least there was plenty of space for your toiletries. The shower / toilet combo was slightly cramped, and it would be nice if they were separate, but that is not a big deal. The bedding was comfortable. My only big wish in the room would be a different climate control system. The old-school wall units are loud, and I frequently had issues getting it to come on (not a big issue as the temperature was comfortable w/o it). The location is good with plenty of restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance. The Riviera is only a 10-minute walk, providing many more shopping & dining options. The beach is just a 15-minute walk. Plenty of parking is available (no cost) at the hotel and in the parking structure next door. The amenities definitely make for a pleasant stay. The daily breakfast buffet is typical but has something for just about anyone (eggs, DIY waffles, yogurt, fresh fruit, oatmeal, bread & pastries, coffee, hot chocolate, juice, etc.). You will get dated breakfast tickets to the buffet at check-in based on the number of people registered to your room, but I believe additional tickets can be purchased at the front desk. The pool is small but clean and heated with plenty of chairs around the pool deck, and there is enough greenery to make it feel like an escape. A small solarium off of the pool houses a jacuzzi. It was as hot as I liked, but it was still refreshing. Across the hall from the jacuzzi is a small fitness room with a couple of universal weight sets, an elliptical, a treadmill, and a stationary bike - small but adequate. We never saw anyone else in their, so there was no competition for equipment. The room includes a TV and remote. All in all, we highly recommend this hotel.

This Best Western is close to a lot of amenities; restaurants, the beach, shops. The hotel has a small pool and a small work out room and a small jacuzzi. I recommend this hotel for families, couples or business trips.

The location is perfect - close to the beach, Riviera Village - shopping and dining galore. Other than that - the room was somewhat dingy looking and the beds were small, hard and uncomfortable. They also advertise a pool, but it was ridiculously small. This felt like a motel from the 1980s, not a hotel.

I spent 4 nights here in October and had an excellent stay. The staff is friendly, helpful and very courteous. The room was clean, comfortable bedding and well maintained. I had no complaints and I'm fairly picky about my hotels. The walls were thick enough to not hear the neighbors come in and out. The breakfast was a full, hot breakfast with good choices including eggs, ham and waffles. The breakfast area was well-stocked and kept clean. Check-in and out were easy and accurate. Adequate parking was available and the hotel was close to several restaurants, shopping and a coffee bar. Overall it was a great stay! I would definitely choose to stay here again.

This hotel was very clean. The staff were nice and very helpful. They put out a great breakfast with many choices. Good location and tucked away nicely and it was surprisingly quiet. We could not get much cell service or internet but that wasn't the hotels fault....that was pretty much throughout Redondo Beach!

Overall this hotel is a good choice. It is about a 10 minute walk to the beach, the breakfast is very tasty, the rooms are clean, and the staff is helpful. Keep in mind it is a Best Western so it is a budget hotel but it is a good value.

We were in Redondo Beach for a family reunion. This hotel was at a good affordable price, and had everything we needed for our 2-night stay. Most importantly, it was VERY CLEAN, which is always important to me. We felt very safe in this area, and the hotel is within walking distance to restaurants, stores, etc.. if we ever visit Redondo Beach again, we would definitely choose to stay at this hotel.

Good stay for 3 nights in southern LA, good personell and brekfast was ok. The room were more spatius than expected and cleaning was good. Quiet and calm surrandings guess that its in the better parts of LA..... Good resturants in walking distance and the beach is also in walking distance, although its a bit south the pier area. Better traffic-situation on the US 1 north than vi expected, only 45 min drive to Santa Monica and easy even to the airport from hotel. Overall a positive experiense and vi booked directly to the motel, witch offen gets you right and betterroom considering your needs. Overall a good motel, resonable priced fot the LS .areas

There was nothing to write home about here, the only good thing I could say is the breakfast was good quality and good variety. The room we stayed in was dated to put it nicely, the internet was unusable and the staff weren't exactly the most approachable and personable. We were here when workers were working on the place which made it just that more worse to stay in.

We have stayed here many times. It is close to downtown and the breakfast is very nice and offers lots of options and more than just toast and coffee. They are currently remodeling now though so the pool will be closed. Rooms are nice and quiet. Would be nice to have a variety of pillows that were different firmness. The rooms are nice and it has always been quiet when we have stayed here. Parking can be a problem though and now they are remodeling so access to parking is even worse.

Average hotel, no bar or restaurant (we did know this before we booked), tiny pool, but for the money it was ok. Had to move rooms because the bed was broken in the first room but the staff got the problem resolved with no fuss at all, they were very helpful. Good choice for breakfast and the member of staff who runs the breakfast area keeps it stocked up and clean. Not a lot to do in area without driving. The hotel is a little dated and could do with brightening up. It had sheets and an awful fleece blanket (which I haven't seen since the 70s) on the bed rather than white fresh linen or duvet and everything is brown.

My daughter and I had the pleasure of staying in the Redondo Beach area at the Best Western Plus. What a fantastic choice. The location is awesome, you actually could walk to the beach and see the beauty of Redondo Beach area. The room we had was comfortable, clean and perfect. There was no charge for parking and the free breakfast was great. I felt very safe here.

I wanted to stay near the airport, but at a nice, but reasonably priced place. This fit the bill perfectly. Large room, confy bed, excellent wifi. Breakfast was decent, normal hotel fare. It took us around 35 minutes to get to LAX rental car dropoff during a Friday morning.

When it comes to location it was close walk to a lot around Redondo. But the hotel and rooms itself was well... Just okay. Probably wouldn't stay again. There's better places to stay around there area.

the entire building is smoke free, smoking area is provided for smokers. the hotel itself was very clean and the rooms where spotless. the breakfast area was well set up, and plenty of food for everyone there(which was good and plentlyful.

My Family and I stayed here during our family holiday dec 15/ jan 16. The location is great, the rooms are comfortable and staff were nice. We all enjoyed the pool and spa. The breakfast was very nice also. Lots of great food options in the area. Would recommend 100%

A wonderful location; walking distance to the beach and nice restaurants. The hotel is clean, serves a good breakfast, and is a perfect "jumping off" place for South Bay tourist attractions. Friendly staff, and great value.

Compared to other hotels in the area the Redondo Beach Inn is a good value. The room was clean and everything worked. Parking is a challenge. There are just enough spots. Both nights I got the very last available space and the spaces are tight. There were a couple of little annoyances, but nothing to not recommend the hotel. (the hot and cold in the shower were reversed and turning on the bathroom light was a little tricky) I also had a glitch with my reservation but the staff handled it adequately. The breakfast has something for everyone. They could use more fresh fruit. Good place for a basic room with everything you need.

Typical Best Western, fridge in room smelled a little funky but otherwise was very clean. Nice staff who did us a good deal on bicycle rental as we had mistakenly thought it was free when booking. Pool a bit small and hot tub not very hot but overall perfectly acceptable.

New to the area, we stayed at the BW+ hotel. The check-in staff in the late evening were extremely helpful in that they guided us to some local eateries that were still open. The staff were very professional and aided us in whatever we needed. The breakfast was a bit better than other best westerns. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

You can check out any time AND leave (but you may not want to leave). Very nice hotel. Outstanding location. Hot breakfast spread is outstanding. I could hear guests in the next room. That was the one problem.

Been there for four nights. Big rooms, bathroom OK and clean, coffee maker, good beds. Hotel is located on PCH so some noise from road but OK. Nice small pool and indoor jacuzzi. Pool towels on front desk as many as needed. Breakfast included, enough to chose from, nothing fancy but all there you need to provide a good start into the day, coffe, juice, eggs, waffles and so on. All stuff very freindly and helpfull, free coffee on front desk all day long. Beach and restaurants in walking distance. Free parking. All in a very good hotel which we will use again for longer stay next time. Absolute recommendation.

The 'Plus' in the title really works. Very nice property, on site free parking and well located. Good breakfast choice, slightly above average although lacking sufficient seating at certain times. Would happily come back here.

The rooms are quite large. The bathroom was excellent. It was well equipped with fridge, microwave, air conditioning and cable TV. The pool and spa tub are very nice but a little small. The hotel provides towels for these facilities. Free wifi. They also rent bikes at a very reasonable rate. Staff were very helpful and they stored our cases when we checked out til we were ready to leave in the evening

Great courteous and friendly staff, good convenient location to the village shopping areas as well as the beach. The rooms were clean and comfortable and amenities are good. Complimentary breakfast was better than average and the entire hotel and property is well maintained.

Rico at the front desk is absolutely the best hotel employee we have ever had! He helped us out in so many ways - and essentially made our stay the best it could be. From arranging tours for us, to helping with directions and everything in between. Truly a sensational employee!

This Hotel is excellent , my stay there was very comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable. The staff there is excellent all the way from checking, housekeeping to check out. The breakfast was great it was very crowed due to summer travelers but the staff kept up with all the hungry guest and there was no shortage of food. This is my favorite BW and would highly recommend it .

We used this hotel as a base for some beach area sight seeing. Not near the 405 which is the good news (closer to the beach) and the bad news (takes a bit to get there from the freeway). The room was recently redone (carpet, furniture, bathroom, etc) so was quite modern and efficient and clean as well. The breakfast that is included is quite substantial and well done: scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, waffles, hot and cold cereal, a variety of fresh breads, fresh fruit and yogurt. Really everything you might want. The breakfast room is not very big for the size of the hotel but there are additional places set aside to eat. We were directed to how to walk to the beach and it took maybe 15 minutes. The beach is gorgeous with a high and low promenade used by many, many people. But it is so long and wide it is not a problem. On the way back we walked down Catalina Street which has lots of restaurants and charming shops. Lots to choose from. There is no free shuttle to the airport (9 miles away) and we were told the "nominal fee" for the shuttle would be $20. Yikes. We wanted to get to Downtown LA so we drove to the airport, booked a spot in long term parking for $18 and took the $9 Flyaway direct to Union Station. It was better than driving there. It took about an hour to drive to the Getty Museum. Traffic is just really heavy pretty much all the time. Overall it was a great stay and I recommend this establishment.

This was a great experience and location in the Redondo Beach area. This hotel is located central to great restaurants, the beach and the pier. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Also, the full breakfast is included with your stay and has a large selection of items.

Rooms were so clean could smell cleaner when we walked into the room. I was only there for one night it was a very quiet place. I stayed on a weekday right after fourth of July. I would definitely recommend and I will stay here again. close to beach!

The place has a relaxed and comfortable ambience. Level of cleanliness is high. The place is at a walking distance from Redondo Beach ,which is good for beach fun during day and leisurely walks along the beach in the evening. Another plus point is great tasty Breakfast and lot of stores and restaurants in vicinity. There is a small pool also but not much to talk about. I will highly recommend to hotel for families and couples.

Very central to explore locally. Room was clean and comfortable for our young family. Breakfast was great the next morning, plenty and well supervised and restocked. There was a pool but we did not use it

We stayed here for three nights and were quite comfortable. We did not use the pool or jacuzzi but they both appeared clean and people were enjoying them both. The motel was quite full so sometimes we had to park in the garage instead of in front of, or near, our room. That involved a short walk but it was fine. The room was basic but clean and comfortable. Probably the highlight of the hotel is the breakfast. It is ample (make your own waffles along with scrambled eggs, sausages, homefries, pastries, breads, yogurt, fresh fruit, oatmeal, and an assortment of cereals) but the attendant is what makes it shine as she is very friendly and engaging with everyone. I think that this Best Western Plus does a good job of executing and delivers everything I would expect from a hotel in this category. I plan to use them again when I return to the Los Angeles area.

very nice place to stay . just a few blocks from the beach . nice area . many stores and restaurants in the area too. the pool was'nt very big but it was clean . if you came in late , parking was a problem .overall i would stay here again .

I would highly recommend this hotel. We have stayed here numerous times. It is always very clean and very quiet even on the 4th of July weekend. Lots of families. Also great location close to the downtown area and beach. Breakfast is also good with lots of choices.

This hotel was really good, we had checked on Trip Advisor beforehand and everyone said the breakfast was great - and it was! It was of a really high standard and very filling. The hotel itself is in very good condition and very close to the beach and restaurants. I would highly recommend it. Ger

The hotel's location is excellent just a few minutes from beautiful Redondo Beach and the rooms were perfect. Comfortable beds, a delicious breakfast and a helpful staff. A great locations for groups and families.

We were pleasantly surprised to find this Best Western in just the area we were looking for. The lobby was bright, airy and nicely decorated and the staff was very accommodating. We chose a room on the second floor back off the breezeway so we could enter either through the lobby or right from the parking areas. The room was clean and nicely arranged with the sink/vanity area outside of the bath area. This worked well since we were in the area for a wedding. The only downside was the cell reception - we had to go out to the breezeway to make calls. The complementary breakfast was decent with both hot and cold choices. Overall, a very good value.

One of the nicest Best Western Hotels I've ever stayed in. I booked this hotel for a business trip, but it is nice enough for a vacation! A mere 10min walk to a very nice beach, restaurants, and shops. The surf is a bit rough for little kids, but was fine for (minor) surfing and splashing around. The pool is tiny, but nice. Fitness room is updated and clean. I did not have a chance to try the Jacuzzi, but it seemed clean and inviting. Breakfast was standard, but very well done. Eggs, bacon, waffles, fruit, oatmeal, yogurt and more. The staff was very friendly and helpful

The reception people were very nice, buffet breakfast is included. The rooms were clean and spacious, minil fridge and microwave great for travelers and families. The location is the best part, close to the beach and walking distance to all of the restaurants and shops in the Hollywood Riviera section of Redondo Beach. It is also close to the freeways for visits to other LA attractions. Free wifi and free parking was nice. Even when the parking lot filled up, there were still spaces in the underground garage. Very nice pool area. My only negative was the smoking. There was a designated smoking area in front of the hotel, but quite a few people were always hanging out in the parking lot, in front of the rooms, smoking. So I couldn't open my window and get fresh air without filling the room with smoke. I would have appreciated enforcement of the designated smoking area or, at least, more respect from the large number of smoking guests who were there the same time when I was. On the plus side, the air conditioning worked quite well, so you can keep cool without opening the windows.

We spent 3 nights and were very happy with our experience. The housekeeping staff did a nice job keeping our room clean, the breakfast was excellent (though the ticket system a bit of a pain), and the location was terrific! We were within a 30-45 minute drive North or South to some great places along the PCH and further inland. Our FAVORITE part was when we checked out - our bill was less than $450 for 3 nights with free parking and a great breakfast every morning!

Staff was friendly and helpful, they take AAA too. Easy check in and out. Quiet & clean rooms, well laid out. Nice TV, though the cable/satellite kept losing signal every 10min, that was annoying. But, who stays in a Redondo Beach hotel to watch tv? Fridge & microwave. Good breakfast. Bed was okay, wasn't the best or the worst I've slept on. What more could you ask for? I've stayed at the Courtyard in Torrance and that was pricier, wasn't as clean, didn't have a microwave, and had no breakfast. I will stay here from now on whenever I'm back in town visiting family.

The stays at any BW has always been up to our expectations. The only minor complaint is that the bathroom venting system never removes the moisture. We have always had to step out of the bathroom to dry ourselves which is never a good thing if there's an extra family member in the group.

We recently spent 2 weeks at the Best Western Plus in Redondo Beach CA. We have stayed there many times in the past but this was our longest stay. The location is great and extremely convenient. I want to especially compliment the manager Rico Pates and his entire staff for all their help. We will certainly return to this hotel during our next visit in the area. Karl.

My husband was taking a 4 day course at Robinson Helicopters who recommended this hotel. The hotel was located about a 15 minute walk from the beach. Each morning I woke up and took a walk on the beach. I rented a bike from the hotel ($5 for the first 3 hours, $5 for each hour after) and biked to Santa Monica on the Marvin Braude trail. The hotel is near Riveria Village which has great shops and restaurants. We often just walked to dinner. The hotel has a great hot breakfast. Each day, the staff made scrambled eggs and potatoes. The breakfast meat would change from day to day. Additionally, there was cereal, pastries, yogurt, boiled eggs, breads, oatmeal, and fresh fruit. The hotel itself looks like it was recently renovated. The rooms were updated with a contemporary look. We stayed in a room with a wonderfully comfortable king size bed. Each room has a coffee maker, fridge and microwave which was great to store bottles of water and leftovers. The room was very clean and well kept. The staff from the servers in the restaurant, housekeepers to the front desk were all friendly and answered any questions that I had. The only downside to the hotel was that they do not have in room safes. They do have safe deposit boxes at the front desk. However, they are the standard size safety deposit boxes so you could not fit tablets or anything too large. I would stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Outside looks kind of tired but our room was extremely clean and well appointed. Breakfast included was ample and the coffee is by far some of the best. Staff is very friendly and accommodating, and we will definitely stay here again when visiting our family in Redondo. Lots of restaurants close by and a drugstore is within minutes. Great value!

great stay. The staff was great,; the room was really nice.; the room décor was beautiful; and the breakfast was wonderful.. The hotel was only 10 minutes from my daughters house in Redondo Beach. Over=all it was a wonderful experience.

Stayed to be close to the beach. Was an easy walk and the kids loved the beach. The pool was heated which the kids did not want to leave. Hotel was very clean and the staff was very helpful. Wish the rooms had queen beds instead of doubles, since we had 4 in the room.

Stayed here Tuesday to Saturday while taking in some local museums. Rooms are good sized, clean and beds are comfortable. Pool was warm, and spa was perfect. Fitness room had enough equipment for the amount of people who would be using it while on holiday. Ample breakfast service every day. Would stay here again.

We had a nice 3 day stay. The room was clean, well appointed, bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet during the night. The breakfast buffet had the usual items (could make your own waffles), no complaints. Would stay here again.

It was nice and clean. Breakfast was ok. I do not like staying in properties that have open doors to the outside. Other than that it was nice and in a good location for the price. The rooms were nice and had had the average products. It was good to have free internet.

This hotel is just perfect. Location is good. Area is safe and is close to cvs, restos, etc. Their staff is friendly too. The rooms are clean and well-maintained. Wish they have a laundry area though but other than that this hotel is highly recommended.

This hotel is located in a nice area. Close to the beach and a variety of resaurants. King room was spacious. Comfortable bedding with plenty of fluffy pillows. Room was clean and neatly organized. Interior hotel corridor carpets were spotless clean. Common area furnishings looked above average quality. Breakfast room was very busy. The attendant did a great job keeping hot food items full and the area clean. Efficient check in and out. Small pool area was clean and looked inviting.

Great motel for stop overs and long term stays. Breakfast is plentiful lots of choice. Staff warm and friendly and it's close to quite a few amenities. It's not 5* but it's not a dump either, I would say 3* with 5* staff. Overall we throughly enjoyed our stay here.

This motel-like hotel is in a good location for Redondo Beach and Palos Verdes, right on Pacific Coast Highway. The rooms are good, while the breakfast is somewhat basic. The small outdoors pool was warm, the indoors hot tub nicely hot. There are a few shops and restaurants right around the corner. A guest laundry onsite would have been appreciated.

This hotel is in a great location for walking around. Maybe 12 minute walk to a nice beach. Lots of restaurants, taverns and bars, with variety! CVS, Trader Joe's and Von's are within walking distance. There's a Metro bus stop nearby, that goes to LAX. Perhaps 8 nail and hair salons! The free breakfast is one of the best in all the Best Westerns I've stayed at. My room (202) had a balcony, with two chairs and a small table, it was nice to enjoy our wine there.

This hotel was a great place to stay, warm pool, nice hot tub. Room was great, breakfast was free and very good...lots of places to eat and shop close by. The beach was within walking distance, maybe a 15 minute walk... I definately would stay there again....The only thing that would make it even better would be a washer and dryer on site

We've stayed here every time that we've traveled to Redondo Beach, because it's the prefect location; close to relatives, the beach, shopping and restaurants. When we arrived our room wasn't ready, so they upgraded us to a suite. It was very comfortable and the staff is extremely accommodating. They always ask if it's your first visit to the area to be sure that you have maps, etc. Always a wonderful stay!

First time in Redondo but not the last. I am definitely going back to this area and this hotel. Great hotel with everything you need in a great area. Decent breakfast, rooms with att necessary amenities. Really enjoyed the peace and quiet in Redondo Beach. Grocery stores just a few minutes away and a beautiful beach in the vicinity.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. All the staff was friendly and helpful. The location was convenient to a lot of nearby places. It was easy to find. I felt safe in the neighborhood. Beach was very close by. Not a lot of noise can heard from the outside into the room.

This hotel offers it all: Great location, comfortable beds, spacious rooms, wonderful breakfast, and friendly, courteous staff. The hotel is walking-distance to the beach and a bevy of cute boutiques and restaurants. Like all Best Westerns, the Redondo Beach Inn features a complimentary breakfast. This one features a large assortment of hot and cold items, including large and small waffles, two types of eggs, an assortment of yogurts and pastries and a basket of fresh fruit.

the rooms are average.nice hotel rooms. Some locations are much better than others depending on your preferences, so be sure to clarify exactly where your room is at check in and make sure your satisfied before you unpack. They'll reassign you. The heating/cooling system is below the window and can be very noisy when it kicks in. Again, some rooms better than others. The breakfast is average buffet style eggs/waffles/pancakes/cereal, etc. Best thin is proximity of hotel to nice beaches (and my 91 year old mother).

We stayed for 3 nights in one of the rooms equipped for disabled customers, and it was perfectly fitted for our needs. The real stand-out at this hotel is the staff: very helpful, very fast, very friendly. The morning breakfast is abundant and good, and attended by truly excellent staff who anticipate your needs and assist you in every way. We will stay here again, I am sure.

This is a very nicely located hotel that is nicely priced for the amenities you get. Breakfasts, which are included, were tasteful and enough variety. The staff is very helpful. The lady in the cafe goes out of her way to make you feel you are a very welcome guest.

Best Western has a winner here!! Looks great and the painters in the lobby were making it look even better!! No traffic noise...and kinda private. Great beds....lights, tv , bathroom are great. Bathroom we had was small...but ok.

We took a group of teen girls to this hotel for my two daughters' birthday overnights. We spent most of our time at the pool, which though small-ish, had plenty of tables, chairs (both lounge and not), is heated and has a Jacuzzi. The pool hours are generous too! I found the rooms to be clean and comfortable, with nice TVs. The FREE breakfast was FANTASTIC. And staff was friendly and capable.

This hotel has been a favorite of mine for nearly 10 years. It is consistent in its ability to provide a clean, comfortable hotel in the LA area. Attention to details like flowers and trees on the property, visual proof that the hotel is always being maintained to keep is beauty and comfort at a high level. A caring staff and attention to detail make this a great value and super place to say.

The BW Redondo Beach is a very nice property in a great location close to the beach and harbor area. The hotel has a couple of wings; one of them has rooms with interior entrances, and the others have exterior access. I stayed in the interior wing, which I liked. My room was spacious, quiet and very well appointed. Lovely linens on the comfortable bed. Good, if fairly standard, breakfast buffet in a smallish breakfast room. Friendly and helpful staff. It's right next door to a small shopping center with a convenience store, pharmacy, and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Service from everybody we ran across was Great! The Breakfast was Great Very clean , Food was Fresh, Service was good every Employee was willing Help out when needed. I definitely would stay Here Again.

We stayed 1 night and enjoyed it. Clean , lots of rooms and a great little breakfast buffet that was free. Staff was very friendly also. I'd recommend to family and friends. Location wasn't to bad, felt safe. A large CBS store next door which was handy. There is a bar on second floor but we didn't see it. Once again, it was very clean.

Have stayed here a number of times when visiting this area. Every experience has been superb. Relaxed atmosphere, comfortable rooms with refrigerator, internet, microwave, helpful and courteous staff, outstanding breakfast, plenty of parking, short walk to shops, restaurants and beach. Around the corner from handy CVS.
