Wonderful room and service. Close to LAX which is why we stayed there. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Had pizza delivered and were very pleased with everything. Not much interaction with staff as it was still during pandemic but was pleased with the gentleman at the checkout desk.
This was my first time staying in Redondo Beach! Not knowing what hotels to avoid, I'm glad that I picked this one out! Friendly staff, clean rooms, clean property, they offer a nice grab n go breakfast to start your day!
Very nice hotel at a convenient location to Los Angeles airport. The grounds are kept up really nice and the room was comfortable. Due to the COVID Pandemic breakfast was not provided but they did offer a bagged breakfast. Several restaurants and fast food places are close by.
This was a really nice hotel... nice clean room and the service was great had a good stay. The young lady at the window was great too.. i belive her name was yani she was great too ill be back to stay here again
Stayed at this property to use my reward points. When you check into the hotel, the impression is it's a dangerous area, with a hole in the wall window the only way to process. When quiet it works, though with only one window hole, it takes a while and a line starts...even though 2 people inside the lobby area...they cant service more than on at a time. If you are staying more than one night, and you want the room serviced, you need to ask and be out of the room, the call if you have a DND sign asking if you need anything Breakfast is a boxed format from another closed room, (LA regulations) Room was OK size, though had that smell you get with motel style places...aircon / heating unit was loud. Nothing bad to say about property, was what I was expecting.
The noise from neighbors AC is very loud, also room has no window, it is like a cave. Someone was smoking marihuana and the smell came through the restroom vent, so I had to keep the extractor on all the time, which just increased the noise.
I arrived at the BW Galleria Inn as the coronavirus was taking hold in CA and the US and we were told to shelter in place. Upon arrival, I wiped down every surface in the room, plus dresser drawers, bathroom fixtures and anything else I might need to handle, ie doorknobs, toilet handle, etc. I found NO dirt! I also walked the entire floor of the room with white socks on and NO dirt! Because of that, I was able to relax and enjoy my stay without concerns about cleanliness. All of the staff at the hotel were so cordial and caring, the breakfast was pretty good with lots of options, and the hospitality and breakfast staff were terrific. Manager Candace made sure everything ran smoothly as regular routines had to be changed in order to comply with health dept requirements. What a great experience. I will definitely be back whenever I need a relaxing staycation so I can try the awesome hot tub that I was afraid to use due to the virus (and the rainy, cold weather. Thank you BW Galleria Inn for a wonderful stay!
Our family took a pit stop at this Hotel at the spare of the moment, the deal we got was better than we had expected.Got there ,quick check in ,got to a nice clean room ,cleaned up,relaxed, got up to enjoy a pretty nice healthy breakfast at no cost.Got on our way. We will diffidently stop by again if we're in town.
Safe feeling hotel conveniently located. Very good breakfast, but minimum seating! Hotel check in not as advertised by Best Western. If you come at 3:00 better bring a book. Check in clerk was babysitting very small child in lobby!
When we first arrived (2 hours after checkin) we were told our room wasn't ready. The hotel seemed empty so not sure why they couldn't have offered to put us in another room. Clerk gave us our keys and said “you can check and see if it's ready if you want”. Umm couldn't he have radioed housekeeping or something to check? Anyway we walked there and it was indeed ready. It was a standard room, clean, and far from the main road so quiet. You could kind of hear other people in their rooms though. Ample parking. We enjoyed the large hot tub. Convenient location.
Great stay overall, just wish we had ear plugs to sleep in. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean and well equipped for a budget hotel. Walking distance to restaurants, Buca Di Beppo and Corner Bakery.
This appeared to be an older hotel a bit lacking in modern curb appeal, but my stay there was pleasant and comfortable. The staff was helpful, the king bed was comfortable, the room was well equipped with fridge, microwave, desk and plenty of convenient plug-ins and lights. The internet was quite fast compared with some hotel internet services.
Short in staff, big and clean rooms, good free breakfast, located not so close to both beach and harbour, little pool near frontdesk, elevator available, comfortable huge beds, office desk inside to work on
We have stayed here many times as our daughter lives around the corner. Pretty well kept up, Very small outdoor pool. One thing that bugs me is the construction workers that stay there during the week all have company vehicles that go " beep, beep, beep" when they back out at 5:30AM,
Clean quiet and modern. Adequate parking. Nice breakfast. Couteous staff. The only thinkg I wasn't completely happy with was that the toilet could have been taller. Has all the usual room features and a locking safe.
Very clean, the staff is unsurpassed, food is delicious and an all around great vibe to the hotel! The location is okay, there isn't really anything you can do within walking distance. For a Best Western, my feeling is the pricing should be a tad bit lower. .Or offer a bigger discount for AAA or military etc....All in all, I think if the rooms were at the very least 99.00 a night this would make more sense. It also does not seem to be in the best of locations safety wise.
We stayed here one night before an early flight from LAX. The property is dated both outside and inside, but the rooms are clean and the staff was friendly. The hotel is near a mall so there are some chain restaurants close by.
Close to freeway access, beach, mall nearby and a great breakfast to start your day. Room was very clean. A range of breakfast food for every taste including a waffle maker, also healthy options. Internet worked well. Happy customers.
It's a good place to stay. Great breakfast buffet. But just 1 thing is missing, the bidet from the restroom. But overall, it's all good. It is also accessible to bar and restaurants, convenience store etc.
Traveled and stayed here to support a family member in a competition. Stayed three nights with family members. Check-in area is nice and comfy—serves coffee, water, and snacks (chewy bars, fruit, banana bread, etc.). Also had pre-packed paper bags with snacks and water for guests to take—this was clutch for our 7-hour drive home. Check-in was easy. EVERYONE working there was very kind and warm towards us, and was always willing to help us with whatever we needed. The hotel is close to a busy intersection, but it was never difficult to drive into the property. I didn't know this at the time of booking, but it honestly didn't bother me. I based my booking off of its location and because best westerns tend to be comfortable and reliable hotels to stay in without paying an arm and leg for it. It was less than two miles from the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center (where we were going). If a guest forgot an important item, like I did, the South Bay Galleria is 0.5 mile away. There's too many stores to list, but for the things I needed, I got access to Target and Nordstrom Rack. Plus, there's a Sprouts to grab some groceries if needed. Redondo Beach/Manhattan Beach/the coast basically, is barely 10 minutes away. Plus, across the street from the hotel is a bomb Mexican seafood spot (Ensenada's Surf n Turf Grill), where the line is usually out the door. So basically, the location is pretty convenient. They also have a hot tub and pool that I didn't really use. Hotel room to parking ratio is pretty good. It might look like there's not enough parking, but the hotel is not very big and only 3 floors. No issues with break-ins or anything like that. Some spots were under rooms, which allowed our vehicle to cool down in 90+ degree weather. The room (we had two queen beds) was clean and had all the basic amenities we frequently utilized. Towels were clean and soft. Has a fridge and microwave. Big sink area for guests who tend to bring a lot of product (aka skincare routine) on the road. Beds were super comfy. It was nice and quiet, and all parties were able to get good sleep each night. There were guests arguing real loud next door for about an hour during the day, and that was kinda annoying, but that's not the hotel's fault. Breakfast was simple but good and filling. There were mini omelettes, potato hash, and sausages for the hot area. Cereal, muffins, breads, boiled eggs, Greek yogurt, cup packed assorted fruit, and waffle and pancake bar. Coffee, tea, hit chocolate, juices and water. I look for overall comfort, cleanliness and location of the hotels I stay in. I don't need all of the extra fluff and amenities. My stay here was great. I'd stay here again.
Staff accommodated our stay and was able to check in my family with my credit card information over The phone. The location was average and price was a little high for this hotel. There was activity outside our room so we were not able to keep our window open.
Room was dated but clean. Quiet room, easy check in process, free breakfast that was adequate to get your day started. Free parking which added to the savings on the overall room rate. Not too far south of LAX.
Hotel is located near lots of shops and restaurants. Staff is very nice. Room was clean. Very noisy though. Busy street with lots of traffic and sirens. Walls are very thin. I could hear air conditioning unit in room upstairs. Good place to spend a night or two due to convenient location.
This hotel was the start of our trip to Dallas, Texas (CA, AZ, NM and TX). We – 4 people – stayed here in 2 double rooms for 4 nights end of May. We arrived from Europe at LAX in the evening and it took us around 20 minutes to reach the hotel with our rental car. The hotel is easy to find and at a good location to explore the many sights of Los Angeles, Long Beach and even destinations such as the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley. The hotel itself and the rooms were very clean. The fan in the bathroom was far too noisy though. Parking is for free. Supermarkets and reasonable restaurants are around. The hot breakfast was nice with some variety. The jacuzzi was big and nice as well. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. A big plus is also that they provide snacks to take with you for free.
This is the best hotel that I've stayed in.They have a five star breakfast and the rooms are very clean rooms. I always feel like im number one here. They have a hot tub and a pool out front. The staff is wonderful and very friendly. They also have 4 rooms that have Jacuzzis in the room. ,"Highly Recommend them"
After reading the reviews, I had to see for myself and the experience was great. Check in was awesome. The lobby had snacks and cucumber lemon water, tea, etc. I really felt welcomed. Will come back again for sure.
Stayed here again for Family Visit. Hotel Room is clean, updated and the Staff is Professional, Courteous, and helpful. Great Breakfast Choices. This is the 2nd time I have stayed here this year, and the 3rd time in 1 1/2 years. Will stay here again too.
I got the impression that they were closer to the beach ....the hotel itself was adequate ....I did make it down to the free breakfast at 10:01 they quit serving at 10 and would not let me in ... The shampoo and soaps were very nice
I will always choose a BW when possible, but NEVER this place! People smoking mariquana in parking lot. Office person not caring at all. Partyers above me making noise all night long. The breakfast dining area was smaller than my home laundry room...2/3 of people had to stand or take food back to there room.
Had a few small issues (credit card charged for incidentals without being told, requested room on 1st floor at booking but was given 2nd floor at check in, small items left from previous guest...) however, upon speaking with management issues were resolved and I was pleased with outcome.
Only stayed there for one night so cant say much about the location. Room is quite big, clean and quite. Didnt have breakfast but looked ok and what you would aspect. Woman at the front desk at arrival was very friendly
Easy to find off the freeway and was comfortable and clean. We tried the breakfast, fresh omelette and juice and also needed to use the laundry for a quick load of wash as we were on an extended trip. Room was clean, and we appreciated the microwave and refrigerator in the room. There was a small desk for my husband to do some work and an easy chair. Great location for getting around the LA area. Reasonably priced for the area and would definitely stay here again.
Hotel is in a good location. Rooms were average and the price is good for the area. Complimentary breakfast was good. It has the best hot tub I have every been in - no kidding, better than some of the upscale hotels I have been in. Nice size, outdoors and the water is hot the way it should be.We stayed a few days and didn't have any issues. Nothing fancy but a decent place to stay for a quick trip.
We stayed here to attend a concerpt in dowtown Los Angeles. This hotel is in the nice Redondo Beach area and was away from the hectic Los Angeles traffic but was not too far from the concerpt. Breakfast was nice and they let us have a late check out. Nice people. Good stay with no hassels.
I appreciate the little things to try to show they are clean. Sanitized cover on toilet and TV remote. Breakfast was ok and the location is great for shops and do hit up Yanagi sushi only a half away but the distance to LAX during traffic still made for a very early wake up call.
This hotel met most of my expectations. It was very clean which is number 1 for me. The staff were very friendly, helpful and cautious. They made me feel welcome. I loved the breakfast too. I really did sleep like a baby. Very minimal to no noise
Stayed here again and as always the place was clean and inviting. The staff is very friendly accomadating. The second morning of our 3 day stay we didnt have enough hot water but thing that it was related to a plumbing issue.
The only problem I had was that it was raining very hard so I wanted to get the room for one more day so I wouldn't have to drive back out of town in such bad weather, and I was told by candice that i would have to check out at 11 and check back in at 3 ,Which didnt make any since because i was already there. So I checked out and went and found another hotel which let me check in early.
The location is great. Close to malls, stores, beach, banks, restaurants. The beds were ok not the best. i woke up sore each morning. They short sheeted our bed also. Never had a fitted sheet for the king size bed. The staff used a queen size flat sheet to try to cover the king size mattress. We woke up every morning with the bottom queen size sheet in a tangled mess in the bed. Breakfast was ok but not much variety.
Friendly service!!! Very nice clean hotel room!!!! Looks like it was remodeled! Comes with microwave and refrigerator. Comfortable king size bed with lots of pillows. Convenient location close to many, restaurants. Easy access to highway! Breakfast is included. Coffee is great tasting!!! Lots to choose to eat from cereals, yogurts, bagels, toast, waffles etc. Very well kept area! I'm very impressed! I highly recommend it.
Took us longer to get here from LAX then expected, very awkward route. Check in friendly and top floor room as requested. Smelt fresh and clean. Had a decent sleep and bed very comfortable although not a fan of the small pillows you find everywhere now. Breakfast was ok with some hot items including waffles. We were surprised to see a man come in in his pyjamas and eat breakfast. Some form of dress code would be appropriate I would have thought. No recycling in breakfast room which was disappointing as huge amount of plastic including the wrapped in cling film bread items. Please save the planet! A nice enough stay for 1 night although the area itself is not too picturesque and not really near the beach but the Galleria mall only a few minutes walk away. A nice enough stay but thought it pricey for what it is but expect it's due to the location. A surprise to be charged for CA tourism and RB tourism on our bill.
The area and lobby of this hotel leave something to be desired, however, once checked into my room, I was happy with the space itself. Comfortable and clean room. Did not take advantage of the breakfast, but they do offer one.
Service: No "do not disturb" signs available and hotel will clean all towels even if hang them up after use. Staff were nice and friendly when interacting with them.Price: Better prices then most in the area.Location: Pretty central location that makes getting to where you need to go easy. Room: Clean and tidy.Parking: Parking spots are available, and there were more than enough empty spots for me to park.Breakfast: Less selection then many out of state hotels and a small area to eat in. Felt pressured to quickly eat my food so I could make space for other people to sit down.
The place was better than i expected and it was located to near the malls so i could walk or take the bus. the area is very safe. the staff were really nice especially the ones in the lobby. definitely recommend
The room was clean & comfortable. They didn't represent their rewards program at all. Not even a bottle of water. The breakfast was less than desirable.... the bacon was tasteless & thinner than paper & I'm not sure it was real eggs, they tasted like nothing, even the hard boiled eggs were a weird texture with no taste ~ how did they do that?? It was a nice hotel if you aren't interested in eating anything more than a continental breakfast.... pass on the cooked stuff or go out & eat.
Very nicely updated hotel, only negative was the window air unit that blows directly on a person in the bed. Very nice staff, breakfast was decent, nice area, fridge and microwave in room, pool and jacuzzi also nice.
I always stay here when I go to the redondo pier I will not go anywhere else great rooms great breakfast awesome customer service at all times billy & Candace always make sure my stay is very nice and comfortable I shall return
I truly love staying here. The staff is OUTSTANDING! The location is convenient & centralized and the facility is very well maintained. It's only a few exits away from LAX and a couple of miles to the beach. Excellent restaurants in the area & lots of shopping. Rooms are clean, the wifi is fast & free, and the staff is outstanding. I also love the waffles at breakfast. I will return again & again.
Room was clean, rates were best in area.Manager was super nice and accommodating. Would stay again if ever in the area. People who run this place were very helpful when we came in very late at night they welcomed us. Conveniently located. Don't miss this place.
We stayed 2 nights for a family getaway over Memorial Day weekend. Arrived on a Sunday and checked out Tuesday When we arrived the only issue is I have when I get told “you booked through a 3rd party”. I book through a 3rd party cause it's usually 20-30 bucks cheaper. Other than that the stay was great. The rooms were big, comfortable and the beds were perfect. Thank you again best western
Quiet room, away from the street side. Third floor was quietest, elevator very large and reliable. Housekeeping excellent and all staff friendly and conscientious, many smiles. Clean and stocked well. Appreciate sink and dressing area separated from shower and toilet. Management commendable and concerned about client comfort. With limited grounds, there was nice landscaping and flowering plants. Breakfast adequate and well stocked, kept clean and picked up by staff. Food to go encouraged. Convenient to shopping, restaurants and major streets, Interstates. Could not have been more pleased. Best Western should send commendable citation. Compared to nearby hotels, very reasonable rates.
Usual BW standard ,good bed, good check in etc.Only downsides were A. older style Motel with outside corridors.B. washbasin in bedroom not bathroom.Otherwise could not fault the hotel.Ample food available for breakfast and although breakfast area was rather small trays are available to take food back to room.
To be honest it wasn't terrible but with in 10 minuets of checking in and getting to our room there was a cockroach crawling up the wall. I come from a cooler climate and am just not use to bugs maybe. But I had the ebby jeebys for the rest of our stay. It was pretty late and there was a construction crew staying there for the night and they were being pretty loud which of course is not the hotels fault but they could have/should have for the sake of other guest asked them to at least go into their room instead of hanging out on the balcony. Parking was free but since it is limited space we had to park at the next parking lot. Not super inconvenient but when you add up all the other annoyances it was just enough. There are many places to stay in LA. Probably will not be staying here again.
We were very pleased with the facility, location was great for us. The front desk was very hospitable and helpful. The room was clean and amply supplied. the grounds were clean and blooming flowers had been planted . The rooms were off the street and were quiet. Great stay!
We enjoy staying here as it is clean , comfortable and everyone has been nice and helpful. We always enjoy our stay and feel welcomed and safe here.Wifi is free and adequate. Breakfast great also. When we don't have time for breakfast or we know we have a long day ahead they provide a snack bag in office! laundry facilities also available
Stayed here as our base for 4 days in LA. A lovely clean hotel. The beds are comfortable with enough comfy pillows as well. The room itself with 2 large double beds was big enough for the 3 of us, two adults, 1 child. Even if there were 2 children, it would be an ok size. Bathroom is clean and the shower pressure is good, Although getting use to the basin outside the bathroom got a bit of getting use to. But totally ok. Staff were very friendly and the check in was pretty easy. Can hear outside guests every now and again. It was about 40mins from Disney and about 45 mins from Hollywood. Was good staying in the middle to everything.
We love stay here with our family , and on weekend getaways. Hearty breakfast clean rooms friendly employees . Great location. Room very clean and comfortable . Really enjoyed stay. Great beach access and close to lots of restaurants.
We made a last minute decision to stay at a hotel in Redondo. We have really never gone wrong with Best Western until now. Our late check in was fine. I previously asked for a quiet room since we were traveling with a little child, but that wasn't given to us since the walls are paper thin. I heard the upstairs guests walk a cane back and forth on the floor. They guest were speaking softly, but I could hear their conversation through mumbles. Then, I heard someone take a shower at 2:30am. Hearing the quiet conversations were not as much of a bother as the noisy, loud, rattle, and bag of the mini-fridge in the wooden cabinet. It woke me up every 30 minutes. The mini-fridge was so loud that kept thinking someone was trying to bang on the wall or open our hotel door. Not the best. We won't be staying here again.
This is a rather old fashioned and dated motor style inn with external bedroom doors. Had we arrived earlier and had not had a 12 hour flight we would have considered changing the hotel. The bedroom was clean but dated with a lack of good soundproofing. There was a free breakfast which was served in the ground level in a very small room. The crockery and cutlery were plastic and whilst there was a fair selection of breakfast items the room was not a great place to eat in. Service ranged from good to poor depending on the staff. I would certainly not return here.
I've never stayed in a hotel with so little soundproofing. Stayed there 2 nights and barely slept. The room to the left of us had occupants who talked most of the night and it was as if they were in the room, their alarm clock also went off at 4 am and it woke me up. The guy to the right of us coughed all night and it was as if he were in my bed. The people in the room above us were practicing their dance moves I assume. I would not stay here again. On the plus side the rooms were clean, staff polite and friendly.
We stayed here for 3 nights and selected it based on reviews and its location. The staff was outstanding. Everyone was extremely customer service oriented and friendly. The front lobby person was very helpful on our arrival and gave us some recommendations for dinner. The staff we met at breakfast were also great. The room was very clean. It's an older, remodeled hotel so does not have some of the amenities we usually see at Best Western. The lobby is extremely small, and is locked late at night with a window to interact with the staff, though one staff member let us in when we had some questions. There's no restaurant on site - but there are restaurants within walking distance (a couple of blocks). It's in a noisy area and all rooms face the outside/street so you can hear some traffic and very noisy when people are walking and talking outside. The first night there were a few people walking between each other's rooms and smoking outside the rooms which was not pleasant to walk past. It was a little noisy but quieted down later in the evening. While the room was very clean, there are a few items we were disappointed with. The air conditioning/heater unit was extremely noisy and rattling going off every few minutes - it was nearly impossible to sleep the first night. The second night I used my ear buds and turned on some white noise type of sounds to help drown out the air conditioner noise - it helped! The water handle in the shower appeared to be installed incorrectly — you could barely get warm water if you turned it all the way to the bottom. There were very limited channels on the TV, and the bed was not very comfortable. We appreciated the staff though and the breakfast in the morning was good - similar to other Best Westerns.
Enjoyed my travel. Convenient and close to transportation and shopping centers. Would highly recommend to family and friends. Great price for the closeness to the attractions that are in Southern California.
Excellent location. Family friendly location, near a mall and near places with great dining options. Best Western had excellent breakfast options, great to wake up and grab a coffee down stairs and not have to leave the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Nicely updated rooms, the manager Candace Wadman is very professional and caring. I arrived at 9:00 a.m. after disembarking from a cruise and she was able to immediately find a room for me. The beds are very comfortable. Breakfast was varied and I think its the best cup of coffee at a hotel that I have ever had!!
You made our vacation vest vacation in a long time . Everything was fabulous the continental breakfast was one like I've never seen before beautiful and so fulfilling . The beds in the room were great and very comfortable . We will be back
The front desk manager Candace is awesome. She truly does care about the hotel and the guests. She goes above and beyond without looking to be rewarded. She seems to always know what's going on with the hotel which is good. This means she runs a tight shop and everything runs smoothly. The other person we worked with was great too. Noe was extremely nice and inviting. Would stay here again.
Very reasonable price for updated rooms with comfy beds! Complimentary breakfast daily with great variety. I stayed multiple nights for business and will definitely return and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a hidden gem in the South Bay!
I would recommend this hotel it's nice and quiet. Breakfast was pretty decent. Check out time was a little bit early. I believe there's a mall nearby and there's a couple restaurants to choose from. We had a pleasant time staying here we probably will return if we're ever in the area and need a place to stay.
Overall Services was great my girlfriend and I stayed here one night. The experience was pleasant even though the bed was a little hard. She went down for breakfast in the morning and came up with some pretty good waffles so that kind of made it up.
Great staff, clean rooms.Breakfast was well stocked, cooked.Safe area. Business traveler, would book here again. Not far from freeway access. No noise from street or surrounding business.Walk to several eateries.
Hotel is clean and well-appointed. Room was comfortable, parking close to rooms. Very good breakfast with good variety of food items and kept clean. Free internet worked well. Fairly quiet considering hotel is on a busy street near a busy intersection.
We've stay here at least three times this year on family business. This location is conveniently located near a Mall, movie theater and several restaurants. The hotel offers an excellent free breakfast buffet, daily snacks and hydration station at front desk and has a heated Spa pool
the hotel is located in a quiet ( for L.A. standards ) area and it felt like a safe area too. The room was clean and the breakfast best werstern standard. Easy access to the 405 freeway. Good place to stay to explore L.A.
This was a great place to stay and not over priced. Breakfast, room, and price made our stay a real pleasure. We will certainly book here again. We stayed in Manhatten Beach last year for twice the price but half of the value
Best Western has done a great job upgrading their brand. The rooms are nice, they serve a great hot breakfast, and many of them have a pool and fitness center. I will look for Best Western wherever I travel.
I booked this hotel based on reviews that the rooms are "updated." I hope I was given a room that is yet to be updated because the room was dark, stuffy and smelled like a former smoking room. Being next to the stairs made for a constant noise of people going up and down. The AC is incredibly loud. Beware that if noise is an issue for you, these rooms are not quiet, both from street noise as well as noise from your neighbors. On the plus side, the staff is nice and the WIFI is excellent. Parking is easy as well.
Great breakfast, nice staff. Spacious room. However, hotel had decided to remove from all the rooms a desklamp that had very nice lighting for working at the desk as well as multiple outlets and usb ports. They replaced it with a single bright "spotlight" type desklamp with only 1 outlet and lighting that hurts your eyes when you use it. Very bad decision on mgmt's part, and one I cannot understand at all. Any Hotel should know that more easily accessible outlets on a work desk are an absolute necessity for any business traveler today, as well as comfortable lighting to work.
Very quiet hotel and our room was very clean, all of the staff were very helpful and nice. Hotel was being being updated. Redondo Beach CA is a really nice area to stay at. Lot of area business were to our liking also. Hotel was in a good location of several attractions we were going to.
Stayed here for 1 night after flying in from Australia and wanting to fly out again next day to Washington. Staff were friendly and helpful checking in. The location is handy- only 10 minutes from the airport. The room was nice and spacious, the bed very comfy, the air con worked well- not noisy could sleep with it on all night. The location itself was quiet, hardly any street noise and had plenty of free parking. The room had a safe for valuables and a larger size fridge and microwave. The free internet worked well plus we were even able to print our boarding passes for the next flight. TV worked well also. The hotel is walking distance to a large shopping mall with a food court – we bought some nice take away Asian and reheated it in the microwave in our room. There is also small general store close by with the basics nearby, including wine and spirits. Didn't get to see the included breakfast as we left for a very early flight. Would stay here again and recommend to others.
Good value for the money in an area with more expensive choices. Gets the basic requirements correct. Good condition rooms, clean, working internet, adequate (if not great breakfast). Thats all I expect and require. Would stay there agin
This hotel is a handy place to stay in North Redondo Beach. About 3 miles from Hermosa Beach it has plenty of parking space and restaurants in the area. The Thirsty Club across the road is a good place to get a beer or a cocktail.
Nothing spectacular about this motel (the structure is one that is a traditional motel). The room was functional and clean. Staff was pleasant. Skipped breakfast - did not looked very appetizing I have seen better but is not bad, about average fare offered by these type of property. I was out visiting with family from dawn to dusk and not sure what amenities i.e. swimming pool, this property offered so can't comment. At approximately $150/night booked less than 7 days in advance was a decent value and in mid-price range amongst competitors in its class.
I blindly booked this hotel through Hotwire and selected Hermosa Beach as my destination. This hotel is located in Redondo Beach. It is also located on a very busy street (Aviation Blvd). It is very near a mall and restaurants so it is convenient in that respect but I was hoping to be closer to the beach.
Stayed here recently for 4 nights.. Comfortable Bed, Decent Shower, AC was cold.. Morning breakfast was spot on, front desk was very helpful, parking lot wasn't too full.. 10-15 minute drives to either Redondo or Hermosa Piers. Everything you could ask for. Would stay here again..
Stayed here since it was a close drive to LAX (approx. 15 min). Clean rooms, free breakfast & wifi. No pool, hot tub only. Staff we encoutnered were friendly. Close to the Galleria Mall & a great fish taco place across the street.
This hotel has important good and bad points. First, the good: - Internet connection is great—frankly, the best I've experienced at any hotel in any price level. - Conveniently located to freeway, South Bay, L.A., shopping. - Plenty of free parking. - Reasonable rates for the area. - Good array of free breakfast items, though breakfast area is often crowded. - Clean. - Free Los Angeles Times (better than USA Today). Now, the bad: - Air conditioner has no fan setting, so it goes on and off, literally every couple of minutes, all night. We got very little sleep—we tried turning it off altogether the first night, but the weather was very hot, and the room quickly became stifling. - Inside of our shower curtain was dirty—little gray spots—though everything else was clean. - Limited TV channels—no MSBNC, HGTV, Food Network, Bravo, etc. - Bed was somewhat hard. - Noisy area, though we brought a sound machine, which helped (not enough, though, to drown out on-and-off air conditioner). - Housekeeper called at 9:30 in morning, despite do not disturb sign on door, to ask when we'd be leaving so she could clean the room. Not a biggie, but annoying, and we could have been asleep. - No bathroom in lobby or breakfast area, which can be an inconvenience. Overall, we'd only stay here again if reliable, fast internet was our priority (which it was on this trip)—truly excellent. Otherwise, we'd look for something quieter and without the air conditioner problem so we could sleep undisturbed, though we might end up paying more for it.
Unsatisfactory of the noted dust in the vanity area and was not cleaned. The electrical outlets were not functioning on both side of the wall in the vanity area. The breakfast room seems to be a bit small to accommodate the number of rooms of the establishment.
My friend and I had an early arrival and they let us check in early and even upgraded our room for free. The cleanliness of the room was great and the awesome service made the stay so much better. I would love to stay again.
Very clean rooms and good hot breakfast; free parking. Not far from beaches (~10 min drive) and much cheaper than the close beach area motels. Only negative: just a Hot tub, no pool and hot tub closes early so we couldn't use it at the end of the day.
I enjoyed staying at this hotel. It was very nice , clean and spacious. I enjoyed using the jacuzzi as well. I would come back to this hotel. It felt like I was on vacation and I liked the amenities this hotel had to offer.
We are extremely satisfied with the quality of the location, room, food and service. However, this survey is way too long and redundant. Very annoying and I promise I will delete your next survey before getting involved with this timely nonsense. I suggest your marketing department revamp your survey in the future and consider the time involved with your customers. I see NO reason why this section had to filled out in order to submit.
Excellent staff, very attentive. Manager, Candice excellent customer as well as receptionist Billy and Custodial/maid Karla. Rooms are always clean and in exceptional condition (please keep up the good work)
This hotel has become my home-away-from-home. The rooms are sparkling clean, the location is convenient to everything (including LAX) and the staff is OUTSTANDING! I can't say enough positive things! I am a regular traveler & this is by far my favorite hotel worldwide. My highest recommendation!
Great place to stay when visiting Cali. The location is close to the airport, beach and shopping. Staff is great and housekeepers kept our room nice and tidy. Breakfast was nice. More variety than I expected.
I've been doing a lot of traveling for work assignments last 2 to 3 years and have realized that I can always count on Best Western hotels. This hotel in particular has just remodeled rooms with nice clean carpeting and comfy beds. Location is great being close to beach and Gallaria shopping center almost next door and restaurants within walking distance.
In my opinion, its the best value in the South Bay. Close to freeways and beach. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and there's a hot tub on the premises to unwind in. There's a Mexican place on the corner, Baja. Not much in the way of atmosphere, but notice the line out the door. There's reason for that. Walk across the street. You'll be glad you did.
Bad: Apparently there must have been some kid of mix-up as two different groups of people gained access to my room in the middle of the night. Luckily we had placed the lock bar across the door so they couldn't make it all the way in. I should have called the front desk after the first episode but figured after the first couple returned to the front desk, they would have taken notice the room was occupied. Second encounter came around 1:00 AM and awoke my wife and I both. As I was in a dead sleep I didn't realize what had happened until our phone rang shortly thereafter. We both had problems sleeping the rest of the night. Upon leaving the room in the morning our key cards no longer worked as they had been deactivated. In the morning we brought this to the attention of the front counter staff who indicated they could do nothing except offer an apology since we paid with points. Points which are gained by being loyal to the Best Western brand which prides itself on the experience it offers its customers during their stay. Good: Rooms were clean and located close to the Airport. Front counter staff seemed friendly but had their hands tied in resolving my issue. Continental breakfast was good, checkout was fast and easy.
There are just a few words needed to describe our stay at the Best Western Galleria in Redondo Beach. Professionalism, Respect, Care, Understanding. The Manager, Candace, was outstanding in how she treats the clients that register to stay there, and her staff and housekeeping crew are outstanding and caring in everything they do.
Great location and room was very nice and a great value for the price. Room was very roomy and well maintained and the staff again was so friendly and nice and really cared about us having a pleasant stay.
Spent the last four days of our trip at this place and was pleasantly surprised by the side of the room - pretty big after some of the places we had spent the previous fortnight. Staff were excellent and really helped us out on our first night late arrival. Breakfast was really good and they have a great coffee machine. Would definitely stay here again.
Great hotel ,great value but a bit far from the beach otherwise perfect, Macys around the corner and a short drive to Hermosa pier and beaches, the area is a bit busy and not much around except car repair shops so you have to drive to the coast before you hit the nicer spots
Excellent stay. The hotel is nearby LAX airport. After a short drive we arrived. We had a clean room, good bed and good breakfast. Only the breakfast room is small and there was not enough place so we took the breakfast to our room. The rooms are very noise, we had a room at the groundfloor and the guests walking and shouting at midnight were to easy hear and I tried to sleep. So look for a noise less chamber.
Too bad the early check out my only concern is that the check out WhatsApp 11 AM and is that for people when they want to sleep more than they used to so she'll be a great idea to have a check out around 1 PM
You your ever staying Redondo Beach this is the place to stay the people are 10+ they have all new furniture and the breakfast is the best around I've stayed in a lot of the hotel in the area and none of them compare too this hotel
This is the second time we've stayed at this location and will most likely be the last. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean but it just fell flat this trip in the amenities department. We had problems with keys, lack of furniture, paint odor, no extra hangers, poorly constructed parking exit, occasionally noise issues, lack of a pool and the like. Artesia is a very busy roadway but offers proximity to shops, restaurants and other services.
The Best Western Galleria has a small mediocre lobby , not very impressive. The hotel clerk was friendly but did not know the surroundings very well. We were given a room on the 3rd floor, the outside could certainly use an upgrade and at the least a good cleaning or a coat of paint. Once inside our room things looked up, the room was very clean, beds very comfortable and the linens very crisp and smelled nice and clean. The Keurig coffee pot was a nice surprise and the towels were large and soft. Breakfast is standard hot fare with eggs, sausages, waffles, breads, bagels and fruits and cereal, and filled as needed. There is a tiny pool outside of the front lobby not to walk around it. They have lots of parking and are on a main road.
I stay here 10 day every three months for business. I spend 2 years looking for my home away from home before I stumbled on this place. The staff are great, it's centrally located, and the rooms are clean and have been redone in the last few years.
Very good find, clean/updated room, lots of great breakfast choices including greek yogurt and soy milk available! Front desk had complementary bottled water available for guests. Not to far from the beach or LAX which was our goal. Would definitely stay again!
We were pleasantly surprised at how nice this hotel is. The area isn't the best, but the hotel itself is very good. The staff were excellent and very helpful. A lovely young lady got us into our room nice and early, we had arrived straight from a cruise and had all our cases etc so we're very pleased with the early check in. Noe, who took over the desk later on was more than happy to Google public transport for us so that we could catch a bus to the beach for the afternoon. The room itself was really large and had a fridge and microwave, also it was lovely and clean. The hotel doesn't have a pool but had a large hot tub that we enjoyed as the sun went down, there were also little tables and chairs around the hot tub were we sat for a while in the evening. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are in the area, it's just a short $1 bus ride to the beach
This place is in a really awful position and looks nothing like the picture shown the rooms are dark and have no views. It's not a safe place to stay of a night you cannot go walking it just didn't feel safe. The shopping mall that is so close isn't. It's a fair walk away. There's no bar close so you can't both go out for a drink. There are no safes in the room they have a safety deposit box in the front. Did not like that. The best westerns in England are usually of really good standard this just did not cut it for me. Saying that the complimentary breakfast offered a lot and was great and the staff were really friendly. The cleanliness of the rooms are not in question. They were really clean. I really feel this needs a complete overall. It was a disappointing stay.
This hotel is tucked alongside the Galleria so if you like to eat, shop, or watch a movie this is a great place. What really made a difference is that it is the very first place we stayed that called and asked if we needed anything because we had the Do Not Disturb sign up for our entire two day stay. The breakfast isn't spectacular but we did enjoy the omelet-style eggs versus scrambled. The potatoes were dry and not seasoned so ketchup came in handy. The bed was wonderful. The bathroom porcelain sinks and tubs have been re-sprayed because this is not a new hotel. It is close to the Artesia 91 freeway and not too far from the 405 freeway. You could hear traffic but that is to be expected at the intersections of Hawthorne and Artesia Boulevards.
Good location - close to the beaches, restaurants, mall and a huge cinema. Good staff. Nice bed - but the TV sucked - channel line up and no HD. Could use a bigger size as well. Shower was powerful and the room and towels were clean. I like that it is an outside hotel where you are in control and don't need guests to use elevator key access and all that new crazy stuff. Internet fast but never tried the breakfast. The whirlpool was OK - small but did it job.
I've been staying here for business 40 nights a year (10 day's each quarter) for 2 years now. I've spent lots of time previously, looking for a clean room in a safe area to stay. After much trial and error, I came across this place and was really surprised and how great it is for the money. Wonderful staff, clean updated rooms, hot tub on the property and breakfast. I was staying at the courtyard Marriott and this BW property was much nicer and a better price. The staff is great and the location is close enough to the beach and freeways, but without all the noise. Parking is a little tight but there's overflow parking right next door. One ask, would be to have a workout room. Having said that, I love the place. It's my home away from home.
This is a very pleasant place to stay. Clean, quiet and well equipped. Close to the beach and waterfront and amenities. The rooms were clean. There is plenty of parking. Local shopping mall is close by as well.
Stayed here one night on a lay over. About a twenty minute cab ride from LAX. We had a good room and the staff was friendly. Good value. We visited the pier on Redondo beach for a seafood diner (15 min by cab). Too bad we could not change the time of our cab ride back to the airport early in the morning, especially since then the cab finally ended up showing up late. Lesson don't order the cab until you need it...
Good place to stay if you want to get away for the weekend and spend some time at Redondo Pier. !0 min drive to Kings Harbor. Reasonable rates, helpful staff, free breakfast! What more can you ask for! Enjoy!
Stayed here with my family 2 weeks ago. Had a really nice stay. We stayed on 3rd floor. Not a problem, elevator to use. Plus use of trolley to take luggage up to room. Rooms are a nice size. Breakfast really good. Always plenty and constantly refilled. Spotlessly clean. Hottub was lovely. My son could use as a pool. Staff really lovely and helpful even helped me on day of leaving making reservations. Shopping mall next door and a big target superstore. Would i stay here again yes without a doubt.
Their beds were hard and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast seemed like most of it was microwaved. most of the juices weren't working half the days. Could hear people above walking around as well as walking down the hall.
My friend and I visited the hotel in July this year. We got a heartily welcome and was given a nice room. The location of the hotel was very good, only a little stroll to reach shops, restaurants and the lovely beach. Coming from noisy LA it was lovely to walk in the small and quiet streets nearby the hotel. Breakfast was good and complimentary, which you hardly experience in the US. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel and can highly recommend it.
I wish I had read more reviews on this hotel. I spent the night in a corner room on the 3rd floor. I was alone and did not sleep such was my fear. I rang the front desk to say the amount of noise coming from next door was unacceptable, it had been going on for 2 hours and it sounded like violent sex, drugs were clearly involved and the inhabitants were likely to be prostitutes with their client. Reception did not send security and the noise continued until 5.30p.m. when the women left. Having read other reviews on here clearly this room is used for such activities. As with the other reviews the receptionist denied any knowledge when confronted in the morning but did deduct $50 from my account. This was a nice gesture but did not make up for the fear I felt and how those events impacted on me for the rest of my holiday. I was moved to another room and this was better. As other have mentioned there are a lot of trucks in the car park at times. There is no pool, the images are a hot tub. You must have a car if your stay purpose is the beach. Sadly Best Western was a go to choice when undecided but no more. I hope this particular hotel sorts out the issues they clearly have.
Pleasantly surprised at updated accommodation, cleanliness, comfort. Pillows were not as comfortable as other hotels, but bed was and amenities were nice. Hot tub large and clean, no pool. Small property, but felt safe. Really a great option if in the area! I have avoided Best Western thinking they were dated, but I have been swayed and am eager to see if others are as nice and updated.
We return to this site over the years, (and several times in one year) because of the consistent and dependable quality of rooms, easy parking, convenient location, and great breakfast. The manager takes good care of the property and the upgrades to the lobby and breakfast room make for a more pleasant experience. On our last visit, Candace, the manager, solved a situation remarkably, and graciously!
Had made reservations several weeks in advance guaranteed a King Bed as a Diamond member. Checked in got 2 queens coffee pot did not work and AC had a loud winding noise you could not hear TV, had to sleep with window open because AC so loud.
This hotel is truly exceptional, but it's the staff that truly make it so very special. They are absolutely wonderful! Clean comfortable rooms, friendly staff, a great breakfast, and location make this my #1 in the LA area! It's walking distance to a mall and major buss transit location if you opt to not rent a car, and convenient to most parts of LA. There's many great affordable food options nearby. I highly recommend it!
We had a quick overnighter here. The room was clean and the bed very comfy. We had a room on the second floor and used the lift for our luggage. This hotel was very hand to nearby shops and restaurants. It had a pool. We loved the breakfast it was well run and mamaged.
The Location was great! Internet was never a problem. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was the perfect thing before setting out for my day. There are a washer and dryer onsite which was nice. The pool was pleasant The overall experience was wonderful.
Great hotel, great local and it was close to our other chosen activities. Glad they had breakfast and decent vending machines. Parking was a little tight but it all worked out. Many close restaurants and just a rock throw away from a mall.
Stayed for 1 week during end of June. Stayed on the 3rd floor in a quiet corner. There was 1 king size bed, a flat screen tv, free wifi, a sofa, a desk and rolling chair, another cushioned chair next to a small table near the sofa, refrigerator, microwave, air conditioning unit, and ironing board. Room was clean & housekeeping folded the hand & wash towel into the shape of a swan. Nice touch. The reception on the tv had some problems. The video would freeze for a few seconds & then the program would continue. The bedroom & sitting area are fairly spacious. There are 4 or 5 pillows on the bed. They were too soft and several were lumpy. The bathroom was clean & towels were replaced daily. The shower & faucets worked well & water was clear. The a/c was efficient (though a little loud) in cooling the room even though temps outside were 90-100 degrees. It is a short walk to the South Bay Galleria. Nordstrom moved to Del Amo Mall, but Macy's is still there. Starbucks & Red Robin are near the entrance to the Galleria. The hotel is on the bus line & the bus stop on Artesia is out the parking lot to the right a little past Kingsdale Ave. The hotel is close to the Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy on Artesia. By bus, get off in front of the North Torrance Library before Yukon Ave and cross the street. The hotel's location is convenient to freeway entrances if you are driving. The enormous Del Amo Fashion Mall is an easy drive from the hotel. There are long-term construction workers (airport project, I was told) who stay at the hotel & park their massive trucks in the lot around 5:30-6 pm. The trucks take up a lot of space. They are usually gone before 6 am. There is one coin operated washer & dryer (behind a set of yellowish double doors) near the vending machine at the back of the parking lot. The washer & dryer cost $2 each. Reception can give you quarters. Laundry soap is sold in the vending machine. The ice machine is on the 2nd floor next to the elevator. A problem I encountered was the lack of a reception person in the early evenings around 6 pm. I would go down to the lobby to try & get change and no one would be behind the desk. I had more success when I called the front desk from my room & told them I was coming down then there would be someone behind the counter. During the latter part of the evening (9 to 10 pm), the lobby doors are locked, but there is a window next to the front door where an employee can help you with questions or concerns. The daytime staff were friendly & helpful with directions. In the morning, there are free newspapers in the lobby. The lobby also had free coffee throughout the day.
My husband and I booked into this hotel on 6 June for a three night stay at the start of a 3 week road trip. A pre-authorisation charge of $456.93 was taken on 7 June from our pre-loaded cash card. On 13 June $456.93 was debited to the card, which was the cost of the stay. However, as of today's date 27 June the hotel have still not released the pre-authorised funds back onto our card. These funds were needed for our holiday. Despite repeated attempts by myself, Best Western Customer Services, and my card provider the funds are still tied up and we cannot access them. Candance the desk manager has been useless and fobbed me off with lies and excuses. This treatment of customers would not be tolerated in the UK. This has totally ruined our holiday and incurred us in considerable expense in phone calls and trying to access funds from accounts in the UK. Apart from that we were allocated a dark room next to the breakfast room. Every morning at 6 am the TV was switched on loudly and a succession of guests were in and out of the room. Parking was difficult as contractors were using the hotel and their vehicles used up all the parking spaces. A truly awful experience.
We have stayed at this Best Western several years for the week following a weekend event at the Hollywood Bowl. It suits our needs quite well: large room w/Refrig & Micro; outdoor spa; breakfast and parking. The management is good and friendly. We had a problem parking one night upon returning. There were no spaces and we had to park at a neighboring plaza lot. We were told that some rooms had more than one vehicle and there were half a dozen large commercial vehicles in the lot all week--apparently long-term working crews. The lot was full every night so we tried to return before it filled up.
We consistently return to the Best Western Galleria in Redondo Beach. We were pleasantly surprised to find an upgrade in their breakfast accommodations to an entire room, which added to the comfort of our day's start.
Can't say enough positive things about the staff at this hotel! everybody was kind, considerate and willing to go above and beyond to accommodate every need! The room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was wonderful and the woman at the front desk even gave my boys a grab bag of snacks while we were waiting for our room to be ready since we were a couple hours early.
Overall just a "meh" hotel. It was clean And the bed was super comfy. My biggest gripes were the small breakfast room and the temperamental air conditioning. The Ac barely cut on Nd when it did, only a short amount of time. It made keeping the room regulated very difficult. It was an ok place but nothing more.
It was clean and the staff were friendly and efficient. Location was good around 10 minutes by car to the pier. Not a luxury hotel. Not cheap. Breakfast was mediocer. Liked the waffle maker. Grab and go breakfast was helpful
I stayed here 10 years ago and do not remember it being so clean, comfortable and accommoding. Awesome body products! Great breakfast. Perfect location; close to the airport, beaches, piers, shopping. Will definitely stay here again.
We worked with a male the first night, and he went out of his way to be helpful in anything we needed; new blanket, water, nearby restaurants, and he was seemingly happy to do so! For that reason alone I would stay there on my other trips. But even the quality/cleanliness of the room was great! So You'll see me again!
BW Redondo Beach Galleria Inn provides easy access to the beaches, shopping, airport and more. Staff is friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Upgraded breakfast area is a big plus. We will most likely select this location for our next LA visit.
The staff here were very professional and good. The issue was the room was located near a stair well and at a corner of two hallways, outside. There are no sound barriers in the room. The noise level was horrific! I slept only one hour. There were gatherings, conversations, drug deals, cursing, tv blasting, running and who knows what else outside the room throughout the entire night and by different people from 10am thru 6am. You could hear every conversation even while laying in the bed. I would never stay at this location again and if you had to, I would strongly recommend not staying in the corner rooms.
The room was clean, up to date. The supplied breakfast was good considering the size of the eating area. There was a computer handy downstairs to print out my flight tickets. The negatives were that there were ash trays outside on the walk ways next to the rooms, very stinky. The elevator was also stinky from cigarette smoke. There were wet areas along the walk areas going by rooms. Overall price was very reasonable.
Hotel was fine. Clean, everything worked. Plenty of hot water and towels Had parking spaces. Good range of food for breakfast. Staff pleasant and helpful. Nice an quiet at night so got a good nights sleep. Thank you
Service staff was okay but did not go out of their way to exceed expectations in any way, the cooling system in the room was off, the carpet was dirty when we got there, the cell phone reception in room was very poor so all calls had to be done outside, their were nightly disturbances almost all 6 nights, lots of pot smoking, did not feel safe and we never left outside the room in the evening!
First of all the staff we encountered were all very friendly and helpful. The room itself was fine and clean. Was good having a microwave and refrigerator. Had a bit of noise from neighbours but that's not the hotel's fault. Breakfast was adequate but the area it is held in is very small. The South Bay Galleria Mall is within walking distance. Finding restaurants for dinner within walking distance was quite difficult. We were two females without a car and weren't keen to be walking around in the dark.
I arrived a bit tired after an 11 hour flight and was greeted by Amber in a warm and friendly manner. 1st impressions do count! All staff were pleasant and very helpful. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable and the location is good and feels safe. Enjoyed the breakfast and loved the vanilla coffee. (unheard of in the U.K. unfortunately) Would I recommended this hotel and stay here again? Definitely yes to both and many thanks to all those who made this a great weeks holiday.
This Best Western could be a great Best Western with just a little more attention to house keeping. The cigarette containers where filled, the area outside the rooms had dirt and bits of trash, and worst offense was toilet had NOT been cleaned properly and still had crap on the side of the bowl and what appeared too be blood on the rim. House keeping needs too step it up a bit. Otherwise it is a nice hotel and worth the money.
I stay at this hotel for business M-F. I can always count on the same consistent service and cleanliness. The breakfast is nice to have in the morning on my way to work. It is also in a good location to some very nice areas close to the beach.
Great location close to shopping, food and touring. The rooms where quiet and clean the staff were helpful and professional, plenty of off street parking. The beds were a little hard for my liking but still comfortable
We do a lot of business in Southern California so most of our stay is with the Best Western...The hotel is excellent, neat, clean, attractive, great folks, very good breakfasts and the service is fabulous. The staff is always willing to help but most important they 'know' the answers to your questions... Thanks Best Western
Spent a lot of time trying to find a place to eat without driving a fair distance. Breakfast set up in too small an area . Tv channel information was not current and remote that did not work was replaced by another one that did not work. We finally figured we could use one for turning the TV on ad off and .to change channels using numbers only. Room was clean but very crowded
Room was much quieter than expected since hotel is located adjacent to a heavily traveled street. Toaster for breakfast items needed replacement or repair. Room reefer did not have a freezer compartment, but would freeze most items in the reefer if temp turned up.
I wasn't sure where to stay so I checked TripAdvisor, which gave the Galleria Inn top ratings. I was not disappointed. The young woman at the desk greeted me with a smile, was fast and efficient processing the room, and answered my questions about the surrounding area. I asked for a quiet room and I got a quiet room. A great place to stay with a very helpful staff! I will stay there again when I'm in Redondo Beach.
In town working at Northorp Gurmman, we went to work on Sat. AM. Forgetting to tell front desk we needed our 2 Rms. 1 more day. Instead of charging the cc on file for another day, they put all our stuff in trash bags, in a trash bin behind the front desk & checked us out. The people there suck because this was their solution to a simple problem. And they're in the hospitality business? No, this hotel is in the hostility business. I'm warning every business person to stay away!
Nice room and good internet connection. continental breakfast is adequate to get you going for day's activities. Very convenient location to shopping, grocery store, and airport. Stayed here previously and service and value continue to satisfy.
Great service at a reasonable price. The new beds are wonderful and the breakfast choices were much appreciated! This is a very convenient location for us in the SouthBay area. The staff is courteous and helpful. Will plan on staying here on future visits.
Billy, has checked us in both times we've stayed and gone out of his way to ensure we were happy! He really gets customer service, and cares! The hot tub outside is huge, one of the biggest I've ever seen, and you can book a room with a jet-fueled tub, that is incredible! Great location near the beach, AMC movie theater right next door.
My stay at the Best Western Galleria was quite pleasant. Just as one expects from the Best Western group of hotels. The check in staff was very nice and helpful about sorting out my cancelled reservation. It was quite seamless and the manager was apologetic. The room is nicely updated and had a microwave and fridge. The bed was comfortable and the location was quiet. The person next door was confused and keep trying to open my door. But otherwise all was fine. There is ample free parking (some covered) and the internet worked very well for checking emails. The TV channels are ok. The location is great for freeway access, shopping. and types of restaurants. The South Bay Galleria is withing walking distance. There is a small area for breakfast and a computer/printer for printing boarding passes. Overall a great choice for my short two night stay.
This was the loudest hotel I've ever stayed in and we always stay at best western. There were a couple of guests in the room next to us that stayed awake all night long. Talking in their hotel room and out on the balcony on a cell phone. We had to get up at 4am to catch a flight out of LAX and when we left there where two half naked guys climbing over the fence running right past the office (hotel staff was there) and up the stairs. I can only assume these were the same guys up all night in the room next to us and they must have been on drugs. We will never stay at this hotel again!
Location is ok, the place seems safe, the room was clean and best-western-basic. Bed was a bit uncomfortable but I'd consider staying there again. Service was friendly and parking was free, so was wifi.
Every stay I have ever had at a Best Western hotel has always been satisfying. The interior and exterior is warming and the beds are comfy. My only issue with this particular location doesn't have enough parking space and the lobby is smaller than other Best Westerns I've stayed in. Everything else was great!
This motel is located right next to an AMC theater, is minutes from the beach and several restaurants are close-by. A great complementary breakfast in the morning, and a huge hot tub outside. You can also reserve a room with a huge jacuzi tub right in your room, for a small additional charge! Well worth it!
parking is precarious, rates a touch high, bed very comfy room clean but the housekeeping is very loud in the morning. Love they still have clean smoking rooms and keep coffee and fruit and muffins for us late wakers...
Typical of a BW. We had a decent sized room with fridge and micro. A/C worked well, as did wi-if. Selection of tv channels was lousy. It got a little noisy when people walked by the room. The plus was that it was an okay price for LA, but rates do seem to vary. The reception person was very helpful and got us hooked up with a great tour company. Didn't have to move our car while there. Some small, good restaurants nearby. If in the area, would stay again.
Just what you would expect from a Best Western: excellence at a good price. Comfy bed, clean jacuzzi , free wi-fi and hot breakfast . The spa at this location is very large and has good, strong jets, I recommend it!
It is good to know that after a long day, there is a nice and comfortable bed, waiting to offer a good resting environment. Best Western is always my first choice, and so far, there has not been any regret
Booked BEST WESTERN Redondo Beach Galleria Inn as an alternative to staying in BEST WESTERN Norwalk Inn, purely because this area of Los Angeles was nicer and appealed to myself and my husband. On the whole, BEST WESTERN is a reliable hotel chain, with average to excellent services and rooms. This one didn't disappoint either. Breakfast was included in the price, which was reasonable, rooms are 'roomy' and well-maintained with the level of cleanliness excellent. We found the venue hard to find, because we were driving on the opposite side of a busy boulevard and it was the end of a very long drive for us: having driven from LAS VEGAS - continuing our driving trip around Nevada and Southern California. This BEST WESTERN is conveniently located along the Californian coast line, with the more famous VENICE BEACH and SANTA MONICA - a short drive away. However the lesser known coast line and shopping areas nearby were a pleasant surprise as was the BLUE SALT FISH GRILL at 2569 Artesia Boulevard - a short walk away on the OPPOSITE side of the Boulevard. If you ever get a chance, go there. It was a stand out on our trip to the U.S.!
Cleanliness of the stairs, on day one someone broke a beer bottle on the stairway. I moved some of the pieces out of the way that morning, for the next two days the pieces of glass were there. Also, make sure air-conditioning are working. I checked in at 8 pm and the room was very hot and ac did not worked properly. Next day, maintenance came and fix the unit. Called front desk about AC and internet not working and all I got a lesson on how turn an AC on…. Both AC and the internet were fix the next day. Not staying there again, to serve as your troubleshooter.
My experience at the Best Western estate, Redondo Beach Galleria, was a phenomenal stay and we expect nothing less from the next time we plan to stay in California. We greatly appreciate the staff who constantly worked hard to keep the Hotel so clean. We hope you will reward the sanitation staff for going beyond the expectation and let them know they are greatly appreciated. We will recommend the Best Western in Redondo Beach to many and look forward to see the friendly staff once again next summer!
One night stay with 2 adults and 2 teens with 2 queen beds that were comfortable and mini fridge. Decent breakfast included in your stay with some hot and continental items to choose from.. Small area for breakfast so you can either take it back to the room or take it outside to the Jacuzzi area. Hotel is located on a busy street few miles from the beach/coast but close to the Interstate Hwy. Very close to the LA airport. Overall a good clean reasonably priced location close to all amenities in beautiful Redondo Beach.
