    « Best Western Prescottonian »

I have stayed at this location many times. It has an excellent staff. They are very caring and very helpful. The rooms are clean and nice. The outside of the facility is clean well taken care of. The hotel is in a very good location. The breakfast is one of the better ones on this style of hotel circuit.

    « BW stay »

The hotel and staff were friendly. The hotel was clean, but the breakfast service was slow. It was easy to get to and parking was great. No problems getting a room on the bottom floor. The front desk was very accommodating. Overall we recommend this hotel.

    « One night stay »

Great place yo stay. Staff treat you with down home hospitality. The restaurant next door has a good menu with a good value breakfast in the hotel was more than we could ask for. Definitely would stay again.

« Pleasant stay for one night »

This is a somewhat older motel. The bathroom fixtures work fine, but are older. Our room was clean and had all the usual amenities. The towels are old - no fluff, quite thin and hard. The pillows are quite big - we prefer smaller. The breakfast was excellent - lots of choices hot and cold. The location is a bit awkward getting out to drive back downtown, but it worked fine for us. We would stay here again.

    « A Decent Stay without Elevators »

Our party included a senior citizen who complained bitterly about carrying bags up stairs. If you need an elevator, choose a different property. Otherwise, this is a motel with outside door access, and a walk to the breakfast room. Not much in the way of views, but handy to the highway and the amenities of the area. Clean, nice breakfast room, and friendly staff.

    « A real jem »

Our stay was very brief, but highly memorable. A VERY clean and spacious room, VERY caring personnel, very satisfying breakfast. Even TV remotes were sanitized after the previous guest(s). There was plenty of parking, the location of the hotel is convenient.

    4
    « Motel Stay »

The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is an older motel but is very well maintained and very clean. The location is great to get to anywhere in town within minutes. The breakfast area is nice and well stocked, really liked the restaurant on the property,

    « Prescott Best Western »

Restaurant was described as very good. Met description. Service was very good and food was excellent. Room was very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Overall a very good experience. Close to downtown so also very convenient. Rooms were very quiet during our stay. Excellent value for the price.

    « Quiet Clean Friendly »

Staff was great, very helpful. Had a double queen room and was very nice and comfortable. We were able to have our dog stay which was a huge relief since she's prone to seizures. Definitely coming back!

    « Great Break »

We had a very nice stay here. We were visiting friends we haven't seen for a very long time. Two Veterans that hadn't seen each other since they were in Vietnam almost 50 years ago. Touring the town was also enjoyable.

    5
    « Best Stay »

I have always enjoyed staying at this location over the many years of visiting this city. I enjoyed it so much more now that Best Western took it over. It was easy and effortless to check in, staff were friendly and pleasant and helpful.

    3
    « Looks are Deceiving »

As we approached our hotel (look and act quickly as you approach from the east or you will miss your left turn), my first thought was that this is an older place with dinky rooms. I personally hate small hotel rooms, they make me feel like a mouse in a cracker box. In actuality, the rooms at this Best Western are huge, lots of space, a welcome surprise. The lobby looks like it had not been updated in years, but the staff was excellent and helpful. Breakfast was also a pleasant surprise. One never knows what they are going to get at any given hotel, and I often wonder if the food is of sufficient quality. Happy to say that the breakfast here is top-notch and very satisfying. There is also a Mexican restaurant on site, but we did not visit. It is hard to find value in the hotels at Prescott or Prescott Valley. This Best Western seems to be aware of that and made our stay a pleasant one.

    2
    « Uncomfortable »

uncomfortable mattress, mattress squeaked and you could feel the springs of the bed, my husband and I woke up sore, otherwise room was clean, front desk service was nice and helpful, breakfast was great.

    3
    « Hotel or motel? »

Most Best Westerns we've stayed at are hotels with rooms opening into hallways. This was more a motel with rooms access from the outside; however the Room was adequate and fairly clean. Breakfast was very good.

    4
    « would stay again »

I'm never disappointed with my Best Western stays and this hotel was the same. Always can count on a safe environment, friendly service, clean, good internet- all necessary criteria when I plan a stay.

    5
    « Wonderful stay »

Wonderful service, very spacious room. Great restaurant and staff! Very clean and modernized room. Staff very personable, our room was large and the beds were very comfortable. Parking lot was well lit and restaurant was easy accessible.

Clean /Quiet /Comfortable. And top it off with one of the Best Breakfasts you'll find at Hotel. I almost always stay here when I'm in town. Large parking lot can accommodate vehicles with trailers. Great Place

    « December Stay »

My stay at theis hotel was pretty good. The staff was friendly, room was clean & comfortable. The only huccups were that the in room fridge was beyond tempermental. It would either barely cool or completely freeze anything you put in there (the cucumbers, hard boiled eggs, and celery for my lunch never stood a chance). The only other thing was that the only available ice machine, which was broken the last 2 days of my stay, was in a totally separate building. I normally wouldn't mind except for the fact that it was 16*-40* outside, making for quite a frigid trek after working 14 hour shifts. Aside from those 2 things, my stay was quite enjoyable. The room was a good value for the price. I would stay there again.

    « Convenient, clean, cheerful »

Right off the highway coming in to Prescott, the Best Western is easy to find. I checked in, but retaliated I wouldn't be able to climb the steps to the second floor. I went back and explained that i have respiratory problems and need the main floor. In 10 seconds, I had a different room. Wow, I was impressed and grateful.

    5
« Gem in the Pines »

This truly is a hidden gem in the pines. From checking in at the front with Faith, to sleeping on a wonderful bed with big comfy pillows, to the complimentary hot breakfast, you couldn't as for more. My husband and I will be returning for many more trips and the only place we will stay is at the Prescottonian.

    2
    « Bad management »

First morning we woke up to people doing construction on the hotel and when I complained to the manager she informed me that there was not anybody working on the hotel. The second morning I woke up to the same company working on the hotel.

    « Our favorite »

Only stay here when we come to the Veterans clinic in Prescott. Always excellent for all services and the employees are great... Good wifi, refrig and microwave and coffee maker in room. Older motel but nicely renovated and kept up to par always.

    « Great Stay! »

Clean, comfortable, quiet, & spacious rooms with a friendly, helpful staff. Great central location near downtown and the infamous Whiskey Row with good eats and shopping. Plus this hotel is pet friendly. Couldn't ask for anything better.

« Motel is nice, breakfast is great-but desk help not so much so »

The breakfast is great, food good variety and very good. The man in charge when I was there was also great. Room was OK EXCEPT hood over AC/Heater to direct air away from drapes blew cold air on me all night when I was in bed. When heat was on OK but when temp was reached blower continued and blew cold air. Kerug machine I did not like-PERSONAL OPINION-but one cup at a time???? This is the only motel I have ever stayed at that did NOT HAVE A BOX OF TISSUES OR TISSUES IN THE ROOM. I did not like the bed but it may have been because it was a KING bed and I do not like those. Again, PERSONAL OPINON. The major problem was lady at desk. I do not feel she was all that friendly when I checked in and out and I did not feel I was a valued guest. I asked when I checked in if it would be a problem if I decided to stay one more night-I was told IT WOULD NOT BE. The DAY BEFORE I was to check out I asked if I could have the room another night. I was told the room was reserved (this was in December and the motel was almost deserted-very few guests-during my stay). She claimed it was a handicapped room. I told her it was NOT A HANDICAPPED ROOM-she refused to believe me. She argued with me and was only satisfied when she asked 'does it have a walk in shower' and I said "no." She then spent some 10 minutes "moving things around" and could find only two rooms I could change to-one with steps to it and one where I would have to park and the walk around almost an entire area to the room. She claimed they were getting a lot of people the next night. And that might have been true--but to argue with me and not believe me when I said, several times, that I did not have a handicapped room-that was just not right-I said I did not have one, her computer should have told her that (and I had my packet with the key cards and room number in front of her so it is not a matter of mistaking the room number). Would I stay there again when in Prescott? Probably not. I have noted I wanted to stay another night in other motels, in particular CHOICE CHAIN and have never been given the problems I got at this mote. OK, so I had to change rooms but to basically calla me a liar or not smart enough to know what a handicapped room was--that was beyond reason.

    « Conveniwnt »

Hotel was in a really convenient location. Staff were friendly. The room was nice, maybe starting to get a little outdated. It was relatively clean but not quite up to what I expected. The hotel donated our stay to the rotary club which was greatly appreciated. Breakfast guy was super friendly. Breakfast was filling. Mexican restaurant on property was quite good. I would stay again.

    5
    « Christmas quickie »

This hotel has been in Prescott for many years, stayed at it about 30 years ago and never thought to stay here again. A new building was added and we stayed in these rooms. They were new, clean, fresh. Needs were comfy, carpet was clean, amenities were new. Best Western has definitely improved their rooms, great value. Will definitely stay again.

    5
    « Excellent »

I would recommend this hotel to anyone staff and amenities were great. The hotel was nicely situated between downtown the casinos in the University casual dining and fast food we are readily available staff was excellent breakfast was hot and ready Internet works perfectly In the rooms ready when we got there

    « Two night stay »

The hotel was clean, close to downtown and the casino. The Guacamaya restaurant was very good such that we ate dinner there both nights that we were in Prescott. The breakfast spread of eggs, sausage and ham, oatmeal, cereals, waffle and biscuits and gravy was very good and well supplied by the attendant. The room was freshly painted, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. The hotel is an older hotel that is well maintained and was worth the price.

    5
    « Wonderful Stay »

There was nothing about my stay that was not perfect-wonderful room, great location and a staff that far exceeded my expectations. This is the largest motel in Prescott and although it is older, a recent remodeling makes the rooms feel and look new-granite in the bathroom, lots of lighting, refrigerator wth a freezer, microwave, large flat screen TV with lots of channels and a built in TV guide, comfortable chair and desk, and coffee maker with a selection of coffee. My huge room was super clean as were the common areas and bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. When it came time to leave I was headed to Hwy 69 (on my way to I-17) and it was only a few hundred feet from the motel. Guacamaya's, a Mexican Restaurant, is in the same building as the motel office and even though I am not a big fan of Mexican food, I enjoyed my meal there. There are also many restaurant options in the historic district which is nearby. Breakfast in the morning was great. There were far more choices than I expected, real dishes and silverware were provided, an attendant was busy keeping all the items filled and hot items hot, there were windows and plenty of space to sit in the dining area and the tables even had holiday centerpieces. An accessible back entrance is provided to the breakfast area for guests who have trouble with steps. Parking is in front of your room and there is an area for oversized vehicles. Even though I had a room facing Hwy 89, I heard no traffic noise as the motel is set back from the street. Lastly, the staff here is the best. My thanks to manager Debbie and all the employees who went out of their way to ensure my visit was pleasant. I look forward to my next stay.

« A very good Best Western property »

A very clean, well maintained property. Rooms are large and comfortable; amenities are up to date and good quality. . Motel is quiet with good access to several sites. You will enjoy this Best Western.

« great hotel for the value »

the hotel was great overall, the service, the room, the beds, the staff and the location was all very good. we enjoyed our stay in Prescott and at the Best Western Hotel. the next time that we are in Prescott we will probably stay at this hotel again. thanks again

    « clean and quiet »

Only stayed one night and had a very quiet room. The room was clean and comfortable. Restaurant at the complex was Mexican and pretty good. My only complaint was i asked for a downstairs room and i got a room i had to go down two flights of stairs. I asked for a room where my wife did not need to go up or down stairs as she has asthma. Over all the room was pretty good.

    5
    « Good place for a sleep »

It was a nice hotel, some rooms have really nice mattresses, unfortunately I didn't get that room! My only complaint was the dang mattress being really uncomfortable other than that it's a good place to stay.

    5
    « Good value »

Friendly staff good breakfast and clean rooms easy accessible to stores and the downtown area. The rooms are quite and the parking is big and easy to get into and out. There pool is an outdoor pool so not open in the winter months that is the only downfall

    5
    « Vacation »

We came into town very late and found this Best Western on my phone by putting in the city. When we arrived we and other guests banged on the door forever to no avail. After many phone calls to the hotel and banging on the door someone came out. They were sorry and got us rooms right away. The rooms were amazing, clean ,comfortable. We left early the next day so used none of the other offered extras.

    5
    « Comfortable BW »

The place was clean and accommodating for my family and I. My dad needed special attention and they set us up in a handicap friendly room, close by to the Breakfast area/Lobby. The breakfast was amazing! I'd recommend staying here! It was a great price and the staff was friendly.

    5
    « Motel lodging »

We enjoyed the lodging stay and the staff were friendly. No problems on check in or check out. We will stay again if available in the future. The building were nice and cozy. Parking was plentiful. And staff provided guidance on traffic departure on to main roads.

« Prescottonian is always worth the money »

I have stayed here several times and with the exception of two things, it's always been a good experience. 1. The pillows suck! Of course, this is normal with Best Western 2. The restaurant attached to the hotel has the ABSOLUTE WORST Mexican food I've ever had! There was no flavor to anything. That said, it's a great hotel

    5
    « Favorite Vacation Place »

This is a clean, beautiful hotel. The staff are so friendly and helpful, they made us feel like family. They have an awesome hot breakfast buffet every morning, free wifi, cable tv, a pool, ice and vending machines. It was a quiet room, slept very well. There is a mexican food restaurant right next to hotel with a very good bar, offering a variety of margaritas! We had a wonderful stay here, and highly reccomend it, and rate it a,10!!

    5
« A true delight from start to finish! »

I stayed here for 6 days while researching the area for relocation. After reading the TripAdvisor reviews, I decided this was the best deal for the money ... even though it was a little higher than others. So glad I made this my home base. A lovely lady named Faith, greeted me and explained everything. I picked the "quiet side" and it was! It was the quietest stay I think I've ever had! (Look for "Faith" and request the backside of the facility.) NOTE: There is no elevator = stairs for upper levels. The convenience of the onsite Mexican Restaurant was perfect for dinners and a margarita! The Prescottonian's breakfast buffet was one of the best ever! Excellent staff and good hot food. While not the newest nor fanciest hotel, it's clean, comfortable and with great staff. I will be coming back for another visit in spring - I highly recommend you enjoy this delightful place too.

    4
« Good location, great breakfast »

I like to be able to park in front of the room. Easy unloading and you can keep an eye on your vehicle. The rooms are very spacious and clean and pet friendly. The buffet breakfast was very good. Great selection of eggs, sausage, biscuits, waffles with toppings, oatmeal, fruit, pretty much anything you could want. The only negative I could say about the Prescottonian is that the air conditioners don't work too well. They look new, but must be programmed. I have stayed in 3 different rooms and none have really cooled the room to the temp selected.

    3
    « Western vacation »

Old motel, was adequate, but not wonderful. Employees were excellent. Prescott was a very nice town to visit, lots of galleries, restaurant options. We visited a nice western museum and had a nice short hike across the road from the museum.

    5
« When traveling to Prescott we love staying here »

Nice hotel. Quiet, great beds and pillows. Staff are always accommodating and pleasant. Full breakfast which is always great and offers a variety of food selections. Clean rooms. In room coffee is with coffee pods and just ask for more pods and you get them.

    4
    « Clean and Convenient »

This is a clean hotel with a very nice staff. The ladies in the breakfast area are wonderful and put on quite a spread of pretty much anything you might want to eat. We had to go to Prescott and Prescott Valley so the hotel was conveniently located for us with easy frwy access.

    3
    « Good value »

Basic, clean accommodations at a reasonable price. Breakfast is excellent. Lots of traffic noise at the front of the property. Maybe it's quieter if your room is in the back?? The Mexican restaurant on site is terrific!

    5
    « excellent value »

Great rooms and excellent breakfast. The only thing I didn't like were the pillows. Too big and not comfortable will ask for different pillows the next time I go there. Close to everything. Close to the VA hospital with easy access.

    4
    « Good location »

Staff was very nice. Location was perfect for where we wanted to go. Rt 89/69 interchange are right at hotel. We took 89 to 89A for the scenic drive through Jerome and into Sedona. Downtown Prescott was very close and we ate there. Rosa's and the Gurley Street Grill were very good. We had our own balcony and the room was quiet, clean and updated. Breakfast was above average. Potatoes, eggs, sausage, waffles etc?.

  • 5
    « Excellent »

I really enjoyed my stay. The only issue was getting a key that opened the door but i believe the machine needed to be updated. would recommend this hotel to others. willbe returning to prescott again and will stay here.

    5
« great location centrally located »

very close to historic downtown. We came on monday thru sat. Was great during week as hotel was not busy. We left before it got too busy, but was a great base for sightseeing to flagstaff, cottonwood, clarkdale and Jerome, as well as 5 min or less to historic Prescott.

    5
    « Great Trip »

Wonderful stay, really enjoyed the convenience and quality of the restaurant. Room was lovely and comfortable. My family and I had a wonderful time. The breakfast buffet was perfect, everyone was able to get what they want.

    5
« Large and Comfortable Rooms »

If you have read any of my previous reviews, you will know by now that I am in love with the Best Western hotel brand because of the very consistent great standard they always provide, and this motel did not ket us down. Their rooms were large, well furnished and extra comfortable. Again their staff were super friendly and accommodating. Great swimming pool and restuarant on site with an very good breakfast included in a very reasonable pricing. I could not fault this motel.

    5
    « Comfortable »

We stayed here over a weekend. The location is at the crossroads of 87 and 69, not too far from historic downtown. Easy to get wherever we needed to go. The check in process was easy and the front desk staff were very friendly. The room was clean and kept up. The bed and pillow were amazing! I even looked up the pillow on line to try to order it! They offer an extensive free breakfast in the morning with eggs, two kinds or meat, make your own waffles, cereals and other breakfast fare. The staff was very attentive there too. All in all a great stay.

    « Never again! »

I stayed at this dumpy road side motel while my daughter was on a camping trip in the area. They put me in my room late. It was very dismal, and everything was sticky. Hard to get comfortable, but I just needed to crash after a long day. The next morning I went to shower and noticed blood on the hairdryer cord. I immediately went to the front desk, where Faith couldn't be bothered. I told her I was going to get breakfast, then meet the Housekeeping supervisor at my room. I went to the buffet to grab something to eat before they closed up in 45min. Everything was empty. No eggs, waffle mix, fruit, potatoes, oatmeal. Sausage, ham and toast were my choices. I went back to the front desk and let faith know I was heading to my room to wait for Robin. She came in @10 minutes later and took the hairdryer. She then put me in another room where I dropped my things and followed her out. My mistake for not inspecting. I left for a bit and came back to wash my hands. The sink was covered in what appeared to be sticky mouthwash and dog hair. There were hair clippings in the sink and hair in the shower. I loaded my belongings and went back to the front desk and told them I was checking out. Faith told me my receipt would be emailed and i asked "what receipt? I'm not paying for this room." She advised me that since I booked 3rd party, she couldn't do anything. I told her I wanted something in writing, so I had to wait for Robin to come out of an interview. Robin and I went back to the second room where she was also taken back by the fact that the room hadn't been cleaned properly. At that point she walked me to a suite because that's all they had left due to festivals in the area. We checked the room and it was clean. I dropped my things and went out for the day. The next morning I left early. I emailed Debbie, the hotel manager asking for them to make good. She denied. She claimed it was hair dye on the blow dryer and they replaced it, then told me the maintenance guy had done some work on the sink in the second room and forgot to tell housekeeping. Lol. Ok. Then she said I was upgraded to a suite and not charged extra, so that was my discount. Again, there were no other rooms. Not to mention, I see that rooms here are $85, and I paid $339.00 for 2 nights!!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE. It's disgusting and the management is horrible! There are plenty of hotels in the area, so shop around. I'm posting pictures from both rooms....

« So pleasantly surprised and pleased »

This motel went above and beyond. The room was spacious, clean, quiet. Beds were comfortable. Added bonus with HBO. We had a full breakfast that staff heartily maintained. Close by our room was a cute secluded patio table where we would finish our day with happy hour. Truly couldn't ask for more. Would stay here again.

The hotel is in a convenient location. Easy on and off the freeway. Staff was warm, friendly and helpful. My room was spacious and comfortable. My am breakfast was ample and tasted good. There's a very nice Mexican restaurant on the premises.

    « Completely Surprised »

I was completely surprised at the cleanliness and quality of this hotel. The room was great, and quiet. The free breakfast was amazing and the best complementary breakfast I have ever had at a hotel. Well Done! You just became my go to hotel in Prescott!

    « A VERY nice surprise !! »

This is the first time in 10 years I've stayed with Best Western. I planned a last minute trip and they were the best deal I could find. I have been on this trip for 9 days and I will tell you that the Best Western Prescottonian was a true gem. The staff are ultra friendly & helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and I slept so good I didn't want to get out of bed and go about my business. The breakfast was the best I've encountered in my recent travels. Fresh cooked eggs, 2 meats, potatoes, fresh fruit and on and on. By far the #1 I've had in 2 years. The man taking care of the breakfast room was friendly and so personable it was a pleasure to have a hearty meal and he created a friendly environment and people actually conversed with strangers. I will be back to Prescott again and will make damn sure I stay with them again. Oh, by the way, there was a good Mexican Restaurant right next door that you walked to. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Excellent motel! People were friendly and breakfast was great. Will use again when in Prescott. They even help my wife with her allergies for gluten free. We had a very clean room and bed was real comfortable.

    « Very surprised »

This was really one of the best hotel stays I have ever had. The room was huge. It was very clean. The breakfast was amazing. They had it all. Cereal, yogurt, muffins, pastries, donuts, hot items, breads and fresh made waffles with all the fixings! The hotel staff were SO nice. Best customer service I have had in awhile. I will definitely be staying at this hotel from now on when I visit Prescott two-three times a year.

« Great location, Great hotel »

The only reason I didn't give this hotel an Excellent rating is because the beds were not comfortable, they were very hard. Everything else was fantastic! Front desk staff was professional and friendly, the room was very spacious and clean, the breakfast was not only good with a wide variety of food, but was also served on glass plates with metal silverware; no paper plates or plastic utensils here. Location was great, close to Whiskey Row and in the opposite direction close to the casinos. This allowed us to have a picnic lunch in the park across the street from Whiskey Row.

very friendly and clean place, big rooms, well done motel and reasonably priced, our new go to place in Prescott, pretty close to downtown and on the main road, walking distance to convenience store, has TCM

    « No great shakes »

This is a Best Western, and met my expectations for a Best Western Hotel. I have stayed at Best Western Hotels all over the country, and have come to expect a level of comfort and service from them. This place met those expectations.

    « Smokey hot room »

Requested a NON smoking room only to be given a room that smelled like an ash tray. Our AC would only stay on for about 5 min before shutting down. I got ZERO sleep because it was warm and I kept having to get up to turn air on. Terrible nights stay and this was the night before a 57 mile bike race. Terrible experience.

« Clean, excellent morning breakfast »

This Best Western Motel is located in Prescott, Arizona It is a large motel complex involving several two story build- ings, ample outside stairways, no elevators. The rooms are nice, but one complaint would be the bathrooms are too small. An additional personal complaint would refer to my wife's physical handicap. We were placed in a room quite some distance from car parking, which required considerable walking. Additional walking was involved for us to attend and thoroughly enjoy breakfast. We stayed two nights. My wife requested softer pillows, which were promptly brought. The motel was located close to our business connection and accessible to any other usage we needed. All though doubt- ful, should we return to Prescott, we'll definitely stay at this Best Western Motel.

Rooms were ok, no couch though. The restaurant was fabulous and the free breakfast was good. The location was wonderful, close to everything. Prescott valley with shopping centers not very far away. I would stay again.

« Best Western Prescottonian Hotel »

I was fortunate to get a ground level room and staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good. It included eggs and meats, waffles, yogurt, biscuits and gravy, cereal and fruit. Beds were comfortable. The rooms were clean but mine had a smoky smell although it said a no smoking room.

    « Another Great Stay! »

We have stayed at this Best Western a few times and always a pleasant experience. Faith, at the front desk upon check in, was fantastic. She takes time with you and makes you feel you are a valued customer. Faith was also there a few days later as we checked out and made sure we had a pleasant stay. We could not have had a better person take care of us. The room is good size, had 2 queens, and a nice view facing north. Our room was very clean, comfortable and had a great night sleep for the 3 nights we were there. The breakfast was great and a good start to the day. The breakfast room is a short walk from your room which makes it very convenient. The breakfast staff kept everything clean and full, I give a lot of credit to them to help people start their day. Next time I go to Prescott, this Best Western will come first to mind when I book.

    « Wonderful »

I have returned because of my prior experience with this hotel. The buffet breakfast is great( 2 types of meat, 2 styles of eggs, waffles, fruit, juices, and all the fixings, the employees seem to care and the room is always clean. The room has everything I need-frig, microwave, coffeemaker, hair dryer, iron, and coffee maker.

    « Best Western Prescottonian »

This hotel looks like a prison barracks and is located along a very busy highway. The pool is very tiny and sits next to the highway. The exterior of the building is cement blocks and the surrounding neighborhood looks desolate. It was very disappointing.

    « Prescottonian »

I would have rated Excellent if it weren't for the slow restocking of the breakfast items. Room was large, the king size bed was comfortable, and no issues with the room. The staff was friendly, and I had no problems with the internet. Location was good, a 20 minute walk to "Whiskey Row" and downtown.

    5
    « Great comfortable hotel »

I have stayed here twice, and will always return when in Prescott. The staff are super helpful and friendly. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the pillows are made of happiness. The room refrigerator is actually big enough to put stuff in. The breakfast buffet is good with lots of options.

« Welcoming environment and very clean rooms. »

Very welcoming environment, rooms were very clean. I was dissatisfied with the noise level during the night. Breakfast was great and the check out process was very convenient. Will use this hotel again.

    « Great Hotel »

As an older hotel, they have maintained everything very nicely - great location, nice rooms, nice pool, full breakfast, wonderful staff and reasonable rates. I plan to stay here every time I come to Prescott.

« Worst Best Western we have ever stayed at »

We have stayed at Best Westerns before, but this one definitely does not meet the quality we have experienced in our previous visits to Best Western. The room smelled smoky, the floors creeked and the air conditioning unit was subpar. I would not recommend this hotel.

  • 5
« better than most hotels »

Friendly staff & helpful staff. The hotel grounds are well kept. My room was neat, clean and everything was in working order. The crown jewel of this Best Western is the breakfast. Clean dinning area & a large selection of food. The breakfast here is by far the best breakfast I've had out of the last 12 hotels I've stayed at this year.

    3
« Need to have standard size toilets »

Need to have standard size toilets. The toilets are suitable for grade school children. The breakfast is a good selection of hot and cold items. The entry and departure to the hotel is hard because the hotel is in the middle of two converging roads.

    « Enjoying Prescott »

This hotel is great! Great staff, easy check in, full hot breakfast, pool and restaurant on site. We've stayed here many times and have always had a pleasant experience. Close to the Fwy. and close to downtown without all the noise.

    « Great hot breakfast »

Stayed at the BW one night room was large and roomy. Breakfast in the morning was a buffet style of hot foods also had cereal, fresh fruit and yogurts. More than I expected. I even complemented the cook on his oatmeal and assortment of toppings.

    « Best place »

This Hotel is the Best place ever. Great stay for us and our dog. Close to town close to the highway. Close to a great Mexican restaurant. very close to gas station. We stay here every time we are in Prescott.

« Best Western Has stepped up their game »

Prescott AZ is a beautiful place and BW complimented it nicely. The rooms where great for the price and we were very comfortable the whole time. The breakfast is very nice and the staff where wonderful! For a 2.5 star it is very clean and comfortable with everything you need to have a great stay for business or a family vacation. I would highly recommend this BW to anyone who is traveling to Prescott!

    5
    « Comfortable Stay »

We made our reservations (online) about a week and half prior to our arrival. Check in was simple, the clerk at the front desk (sorry I forgot your name) was welcoming and friendly. Good customer service! The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The area was quiet which made for a pleasant stay. Wi-fi is reliable! (some hotels aren't!!) The breakfast was good, and check out (called from our room) was easy. We have stayed at many Best Westerns and this one ranks good. Recommend this BW Prescottonian.

    5
« Wonderful hotel, will stay here again »

Great room, wonderful breakfast, nice location. Great value, wish I would have found this hotel sooner for some of our previous trips. We enjoyed our stay. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit out to Arizona. Maybe next time we will be there longer so we can enjoy more of the amenities.

« DONT DO IT!! If you do watch your bill!! »

I was there with 8 friends to celebrate a birthday we were in King Suite room. This entire stay was a HOT MESS from the get go! Front Desk Staff was rude, uneducated in the policies and quite frankly I believe one of the workers at check in was drinking on the job or had several cocktails before as she smelled like a alcohol distillery. I checked in and paid $536.25 up front in cash for my 2 night stay, as we were all sharing the room and my 8 friends all pitched in cash to pay for the room. The staff wanted to charge another $536.25 on my credit card "hold for incidentals" I told them this large amount was unnecessary hold since I paid cash ($536.25) up front for room and the balance was paid which insured I would ?skip out? as the front desk clerk said without paying!! Clearly I was paid in full as I had paid $536.25 up front in cash!. I was willing to have $50-$100 on hold for incidentals but no more. They continued to argue and tell me if I was not willing to let them charge a hold for $536.25 on the card they would not help me and I would have to find another hotel room, AGAIN I REPEAT! I had 8 people meeting me to stay at the hotel for the birthday celebration. TOO BE CLEAR AGAIN! I paid them $536.25 up front in cash for the balance of the room paid in full. After about 20 minutes back and forth, arguing and being treated like I was some idiot, heathen who was going to run a crack house from the room they agreed to hold $100 on my card excessive if you ask me since they had $536.25 in cash, but I didn't want to argue anymore and make my friends wait any longer than the 25 minutes they had been waiting in the car! The room smelled like stale wet carpet, the floor (carpet) made our feet black when we walked around without shoes, we found several bugs crawling in the window areas and the stairs leading to the parking lot and room were filthy with old wet toilet paper, wrappers, cigarette butts etc? another group of my friends rented a single room and had to be moved because of 2 live cockroaches crawling in the room!!! Well as I went to check out on Sunday 7/30, the girl at the counter told me I had a $100 balance due AGAIN I PAID $536.25 UP FRONT IN CASH FOR THE ENTIRE ROOM BALANCE AT CHECK IN!! I proceeded to remind her that the receipt shows I was paid in full, ANOTHER 25 minutes later and after several calls to Managers, they agreed someone made a mistake when they input my $100 hold as a "amount due" rather than refund for hold! Your Front Desk Staff spoiled my stay from the get go and then ruined it even more when I left. You need to clean the carpets in the rooms, spray for bugs, freshen up the décor and smells and hire people who belong in customer service and have a clue about how to run a hotel! The ONLY saving grace was the gentleman running the Breakfast Buffet, he was wonderful and polite and attentive! Make him your Front Desk Manager please!

« Left some items and they were taken!! »

Left some expensive wireless headphones ans charging cord which was bright red. Called right away realizing I did leave these items. Low and behold no one found them. There is no possibility they were missed!!!Someone on the staff has a new set of headphones now. 3rd time staying there. Will not return!

    2
    « Not Very Clean »

Room was nice and large. Location convenient to town. Hotel cleaning needs improvement. I don't think the floor in the bathroom had been mopped in months, and the carpet seemed dirty. Walk across the floor, and your socks will be black. Room was supposed to be non smoking, but had a smell. Breakfast food choices were good.

    5
« We always stay here »

This is our "home" of choice when in Prescott. They have recently updated their room décor and bed linens/pillows which we greatly appreciated. Always friendly and clean. Close to Old Prescott as well as Prescott Valley.

    « Great value / great breakfast »

The hotel is centrally located to downtown (5 minutes), and very easy to find. The staff was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was big and enjoyable. A great value for the price. We will definitely stay there again.

    2
    « Disappointed »

Needs to be upgraded too old and dirty. Carpet very dirty and the room had a very old odor. Air conditioning needs to be updated decor needs to be fresher looking. Staff was very accommodating. Location was average.

    « Best Hotel in town !!! »

Great hotel at a great price. It's in the perfect location when traveling to Prescott or Prescott Valley. The breakfast is awesome and the staff is great!!! This hotel is pet friendly. The beds are ok and rooms come with a refrigerator and microwave

    3
    « guests are loud »

Because this hotel is an exterior hotel... stairwells and balconies on the outside, it can be very noisy. We could hear them through the window and our room was located right by the stairwell of course. The foot traffic kept us up and the loud guests who don't seem to realize that just because you're outside doesn't mean people inside can't hear you...they are in fact TRYING TO SLEEP. It's not necessarily the hotels fault, but we will not stay here again.

    5
    « A good place to stay - clean, comfy, & professional »

I am a business traveler and find this hotel a great stay. It has comfy bed and pillows - although i travel with my own pillow. Breakfast has something for everyone. It is a recommended stay and i will stay again.

    « Best Western's version of a Motel 6 »

The hotel is very similar to a Motel 6. Extremely basic. The rooms are non-smoking, which is perfect, but some guests sit on the stairs while smoking and it comes into the rooms via the AC. There are cigarette butts all over the stairs and parking lot. The housekeeper even smelled of cigarettes. The front desk women are super nice and friendly. The breakfast might have been great, but because it was a full house, they were out of nearly everything. There was a "No Biscuits" sign next to the gravy. So, I went to get the oatmeal and that was out too. There was still an hour left of breakfast! Also, the floors on the 2nd floor are very creaky. We will not be staying here again.

    5
« My random visit to Prescott »

Great place with all around great cleanliness and service. They just need to update their google ad with new sign, and show that it is in fact an up to date facility. The continental breakfast had an excellent variety in addition to having an extremely well kept and clean area. I would certainly recommend this Best Western based off of many other continental breakfasts I have had that were lackluster.

    « Okay hotel »

We will not stay here again. Teens hopped the fence and came to the pool--at least 5 and more were on their way. The hotel has cameras watching the pool but no one seemed to care. We reported it the next day and it was an attitude like oh well. I will say that we enjoyed the breakfast and the staff in the breakfast room was great--it was the best part of our stay.

    4
    « Friendly, great value »

Everyone was friendly. The price was fair. We did not use the pool. They have a nice buffet breakfast. The only negative- they need a true dog area.... Not overflow parking. That being said.. We will be back.

    « Weekend Getaway »

Love this hotel! The location is convenient for hiking, kayaking, gambling, eating! Free, hot breakfast with plenty of food choices and friendly staff to assist. Front desk staff provided maps and designated some favorite restaurants, hiking trails, lakes. Rooms were clean, comfortable. Our only nuisance was the noise of the airconditioner.

    5
    « Nice Hotel »

Nice rooms, great breakfast, friendly staff. We chose this hotel because we were in Prescott to attend a friend's memorial service and it was located between our friend's home in Prescott and the church in Prescott Valley. We are also Rewards members, so we often choose a hotel in the chain. The rooms were clean. the breakfast was outstanding and the on-property Mexican restaurant on the premises was very good.

« Don't plan to stay here again »

We came for the Elevate Music Festival and decided to stay the night at this hotel. When we arrived we noticed a bunch of ants coming from the back door up into the microwave. We walked back to the lobby and asked if we could either be moved or if they could take care of it. Allen had contacted maintenance and came back to tell us they would take care of it while we were gone. I asked him for someone to call us if there was any issues. We came back around midnight and noticed there were still ants in the room so my husband walked back to the lobby again to a man with red hair (he didn't get his name). The gentleman said there were no more rooms available, but did give us our money back. We had to call around for another hotel which took awhile since most were booked at that time of night. I think it would have been nice for someone to call us or tell the guy on the night shift what had happened. Very poor communication.

« Great Value Great Location »

Quite satisfied with everything about Best Western. Since I have already answered all your questions there is nothing else I can think of - the questions answered everything I could possibly put in writing. Redundant!

    5
« An excellent place to stay. »

This is an older Best Western the is well kept. We got a room that was downstairs at the rear of the hotel. Due to the hot weather(100+) this was perfect. The room was in the shade most of the day and stayed very cool. You need to do stairs to get to the room and this was fine for us. If you can't do a few stairs you should ask for another room. There are lots of rooms at this hotel. This hotel is pet friendly. The breakfast is better than average and those who work in the breakfast area are very helpful. This hotel is on a main street and easy drive to shopping and restaurants.

    5
    « Great people here. »

My wife and I stay here several times a year, and every time we go back it just gets better. The people make changes for the better and the pet rooms are very clean. We take our puppy with us and he is very content with the room and the sents that are there.

    « Prescott Stay »

Overall, facilities were excellent. Dont bargin on the prices that you find on Hotels.com, call the hotel directly for pricing. Cost me $200 more than I expected. I stayed there 2 yeas ago, and will probably stay there again in the future.

    5
    « Breakfast was awesome! »

We didn't stay long but the room was clean, beds were nice and the breakfast was awesome! They have someone to clear your dishes from your table! We were able to get downtown to the square by taking back roads and it wasn't far at all.

    « Stay »

The hotel is being repaired. The front desk was very pleasant. They put us in a room (133) which was in a non smoking but it smelled every time you turned on bathroon fan. The air conditioner broke at 430 am setting off a smoke alarm. I unplugged it lucky nothing else happened. That morning I told it to the front desk and about he bathroom faucet it came off during my shower. They sent a repairman to fix shower , but did nothing about air conditioner but report it to he owner. The breakfast was good and hot and the front desk was polite would I stay again no! Still upset and tired lack of sleep. It could have been a lot worse if it caught on fire.

« Great stay at the Prescottonian Best Western »

We had a great stay at the Prescottonian BW. We have stayed there twice now and both times were definitely a pleasure. We stayed in the back row of rooms and it has a ice view and somewhat larger balcony to enjoy the beautiful weather and views. Rooms are very clean and comfy.

    4
    « Very Nice Accomodations »

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The bed was fairly comfortable ... we've had better and we've had a lot worse. Staff was friendly and accomodating. Just wish it was a little closer to old town Prescott, so it would be a convenient walk.

    3
« Not up to Best Western Quality »

Clean the carpeting in the rooms. I was wearing white socks when inside the room and after an hour walking on the carpet, my socks were incredibly filthy. I'm glad I was at least wearing socks and not in my bare feet.

« Too Many Inconveniences on a Holiday Weekend »

We visited Memorial Day weekend. The room was comfortable with the usual amenities but there was no freezer in the fridge. I like to freeze bottles of water to keep the items in my cooler cold. Our first morning the breakfast room was so full some food items were not available and there were so many guests in the room we were unable to see what was available. We ate else where. That evening we were returning late and called the front desk to get the hours of the restaurant. Open until 9:00 pm we were told. Got to the restaurant at 8:30. . .closed at 8:00 so they could clean the kitchen. . .Close early on Memorial Day to clean the kitchen???

    « Terrible awful beds »

The worst beds and pillows! Make sure that the room you are assigned has been updated. Seriously terrible awful beds. Other than that a great hotel, friendly staff, a nice little pool and a very good breakfast.

    4
    « Excellent Service...Upgrades needed »

This is a great hotel when it comes to service and a good breakfast. However, the floors were so dirty that in no time the bottoms of my kids' feet were black and the hair dryer overheated and would not work. My aunt and uncle could not get into their rooms when they came to check in because they were told the hotel is understaffed. In all with a few changes, the hotel could go from good to great.

    4
« Good Place to Stay »

Our stay at the Prescottonian was very satisfactory. The personnel were very pleasant, helpful and caring. From the Front Desk to the Breakfast Attendants we were treated as very special people. The room was clean and comfortable and we had all the amenities at our disposal. We would definitely stay there next time we are in Prescott.

    5
    « Absolutely fantastic Weekend!!! »

We were in town for a wedding and enjoyed the most pleasant weekend at the Best Western Prescottonian. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were clean and there were plenty of nice options like the small Keurig coffee pot in the room and the outstanding complimentary breakfast. We have never stayed at a hotel that offered such an assortment of breakfast buffet items. We will definitely be back and we will definitely recommend to our friends and family.

    3
    « Decent stay »

Front desk staff is awesome! I asked if there was a quieter area for our stay and they put us in a great quiet spot. Our room was very clean and housekeeping for three of our four days was superb. Ask to be in Lacey's area, you won't be disappointed. On her day off, our room was not serviced well at all. It had not been vacuumed, bath counter was not wiped off, just a sloppy fast job. Our king bed was old and lumpy so we did not sleep well. The property is older but very well maintained. Breakfast was disappointing, many items high in sodium, most hot items were barely warm, no selection of tea, just black Lipton. We would stay here again if we visit Prescott.

    « My experience »

The hotel was very clean the beds were comfortable but the rollup bed we ordered was not comfortable- The breakfast that morning was cold from the eggs to the sausage to the hash browns and was very limited - Good Coffee

    4
    « Nice hotel »

I have stayed at Best Western hotels quite a bit in the past year, very nice rooms, staff and hotel in general. Rooms are equipped with great amenities, fridge, microwave, hair dryer, coffee maker. TV, wi-fi. The only drawback is the beds, most are not too bad but some have been too hard, so sleep is not the best on those stays. I wish I could choose a room based on firmness of the beds. If that were possible I dont think I'd even consider any other hotel.

    4
    « comfortable »

We stayed here for 2 nights. We were on our motorcycle. They gave us a ground floor room and we were able to park our bike in front of the room. They have a good breakfast--my favorite was the cinnamon rolls. They do not have real cream for my coffee, but there is a fridge in the room, so you could buy some. the staff is great.

    3
« A Good Spot for Seeing a Graduate from Embry Riddle »

We stayed there because my niece was graduating from Embry Riddle. There complimentary breakfast was great. Lots of options and the dining area for breakfast was pretty decent. Finding parking near the hotel room was good because of the setup of the hotel and parking located all around the rooms. The room itself was a good size. Ours had 2 beds and was on the end but had lots of room for luggage and our things. The mini fridge was helpful for leftovers and drinks. The only thing that was confusing was the alarm clocks were one time but their television showed another time so we were a little confused about the time zone we were in.

    5
« Great Stay with Fantastic Staff »

When we were checking in, Robin, I believe her name was, immediately made us feel welcome. She was very informative and made sure we were going to be completely satisfied before going to our rooms. Having a hot breakfast every morning is definitely a plus and with a restaurant on the property you could have an appetizer with a nightcap before heading up for the night. All the employees, i.e, front desk, housekeeping, groundskeeper, breakfast help always were pleasant, smiled and asked how we were doing. The rooms were clean and the hotel is within minutes of downtown. Great Location.

    3
    « Incredibly well-kept older motel »

The property is well-kept, the staff are friendly and helpful, and it's everything a roadside motel should be. The room (all with exterior doors and through the wall climate control) was large, clean, and in good repair. Had a mini-fridge that didn't feel cold when we opened it, but froze everything we put into it overnight - not a complaint, just what happened. Be careful with the hot water - at least in our room there was ZERO need to "let it run to warm up." We turned it on and it was instantly scalding. (This could be a real safety issue if you're traveling with kids or older folks.) Internet was strong all across the (very large) complex. Parking was plentiful, well-lighted, and we certainly felt safe. Breakfast buffet was average for quality and selection - on the Sunday morning we were there the staff had a difficult time keeping everything stocked (there were several items that they had completely run out of with an hour left to go on the service). Weekday mornings weren't as busy and weren't as challenging. The pool looked well-kept and the kids who were in it were having a great time! Didn't try the on-site restaurant for lunch/dinner - but if you do you get a 10% discount as a motel patron. Location is good - you're minutes away from downtown (and from the casino and from the rodeo and...). You get the idea. Honestly we chose this property because it was a last-minute trip for us and all our preferred locations were already booked up. We're happy to say we had a great experience, and we'd stay there again.

    4
« Super visit to Prescott »

Absolutely no issues with this hotel, all was great!!Everything worked in the room. Had everything we needed. Was reasonably close to downtown area, a $6 taxi ride. Internet worked fine. Was nice to be able to park right outside your room door.

    5
    « Best breakfast ever »

As free breakfasts go, this was the best - waffles AND pancakes, yogurt, sausages, eggs ... and the best scones ever. The location is out of town, but on the main drag, so access to Prescott is easy. The staff was well trained and friendly and the onsite Mexican restaurant surprisingly good.

    5
« Good place to stay »

This is on the out skirts of town. Breakfast is included with the room. There is also a Mexican restaurant if you wish to use it. Family suitable place. I would suggest you make reservations in advance. There is also a swimming pool.

    5
    « Pleasant stay »

We stayed here for the weekend during the Whisky Off-Road mountain bike race. The room was clean and comfy. Full hot breakfast including eggs, sausage, hashbrowns plus pastries, cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt, etc. Breakfast hours were from 630 to 930, so plenty of time to eat before we had to get going. There was plenty of parking. We were in the building off to the side and it was really quiet. It was just over a mile from Whiskey Row, so within walking distance if you tend to be more ambitious. There's a Mexican restaurant on site, but we didn't go.

  • 5
    « The Whiskey Off-Road Mountain Bike »

Excellent accommodation with easy access to downtown. This was our second stay at this property and we will return again. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful for out of town guests. Property is a short distance from Whiskey Row, Yavapai College, and the new business corridor in Prescott Valley.

    5
    « Prescott AZ. »

Visit the National Cemetery, along with dog pick up to take back home. Road conditions in Prescott were mixed with events posing delays and detours to our destinations. We skipped a visit to the main business area because of the event. Bike cycling. This was also the case the next day when leaving town.

    4
    « Consistent »

We've stayed at the Prescottonian several times throughout the years. The rooms are always clean and comfortable, no problems with the wifi, staff is always helpful and friendly. Food in the Mexican restaurant is good and reasonably priced. The breakfasts have an abundance of choices to fit any diet and the food is hot and fresh.

    5
    « Great Hotel »

Decent hotel, we were there for our sons hockey tournament, was really close to the parks and rec area. The staff were polite, courteous and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. I didn't use the restraunt but breakfast was decent in the morning.

Clean and well kept-up. Buildings are old and the floor creaked in our room. Breakfast was adequate and the staff was helpful. Note: When leaving the hotel, drive through the back and use Stetson Road to Bradshaw Drive. It is dangerous to pull out onto Gurley Street.

    « Escaped the Heat »

To escape the heat we decided to head north to Prescott. My husband and I took our little chihuahua and my grown boys took their large floppy hound. It was easy to decide on The Prescottonian since they were the only hotel that had 2 rooms and a generous weight limit in their pet policy. I booked a few days in advance and noticed the Saturday we arrived that the charge for rooms had gone down about $40.00. When we checked in they honored this new on-line price and we saved $80. Always a good thing to start a get away with extra spending money! The rooms were clean, beds and equipped with cable/HBO (important to one of the boys), a microwave and fridge (important to me). The beds and pillows were also comfortable. They gave us some little treats for the pups and in the morning we had a breakfast that was included in the price. It wasn't the best breakfast, but certainly far from the worst. The best part of our stay would be important to other dog owners- they had ample grounds to walk your dog if you choose not to walk in the adjacent neighborhood. All in all, we enjoyed our stay. It was reasonable priced, clean and close to downtown. I definitely would stay there again, even when I have just my pooch and more options.

« A vintage type of hotel but worth the stay »

We stayed here as we normally stay at Best Westerns for there excellent level of accomadations and the free breakfasts. We also like there point earnings for free stays. This Best Western is a vintage type but worth the stay. The rooms are clean very spacious and the staff very friendly and efficient. The breakfast is very good but could use a little more heat on the eggs and meats. They were not cold but luke warm. I advised them of this problem and they indicated they would address the problem. All normal Best Western amenties were present and we enjoyed our stay. It was quiet and easy to get to.

« Perfect Place for a Prescott State of Moind »

This was my first time in Prescott, my first stay at the BW Prescottonian. If you've never been there, the hotel is sort of like a vintage slice of Americana: multiple buildings spread over the property with doors opening from the rooms right to the parking lot, very like the old motor court hotels of the 50's and 60's (which is likely the time period whenn this hotel was orignally built.) The rooms are comfortable and fairly well equipped, and the hotel is located just at the east end of historic downtown Prescott (definately worth a visit - make sure you visit some of the establishments on Whiskey Row.) The only issue worth reporting, and this is likely tied to the era when the hotel was originally built) is a lack of power outlets around where the desk in the room is placed. Clearly,in the 50's or 60's, there wasn't much call to plug in a laptop computer or recharge a mobile phone. I was given a room in the only three story building on the property. It's at the southeast corner of the site, and it has views overlooking a creek to the east. The third floor rooms also feature the only balconies available. The hotel staff try to reserve these rooms for customers travelling without children,so it's definately the most quiet corner of the hotel. There is a catch to these desireable rooms, however. For a property as spread out as this one is,there are only three buildings with ice and vending machines,so if you're staying in the quiet building, and you wake up in the middle of the night with a parched throat only a diet Sprite will cure, you should prepare yourself for longer than average midnight walk to quench it. Special mention should be given to the Prescottonian's staff, who clearly bent over backward to make sure I was happy. Shortly after arriving in my room, the front desk staff called to make sure the room met my expectations. Every afternoon I was there, I got a knock on the door from the Housekeeping Supervisor to make sure the room had been made up acceptably while I had been out for the day. It always impresses me when a hotel staff goes out of their way to make a guest feel like they are truly appreciated.

    « spent 4 nights here »

Although the hotel is fairly old and dated on the exterior, the rooms are spacious and clean. I usually choose to stay at BW when I travel because the are consistently clean, relatively quiet, and have a comfortable bed. This location did not disappoint. I thought the breakfast was excellent, and the attendant, Billy, went out of his way to make sure everyone was pleased. I would definitely stay here again when traveling to Prescott.

We have good experiences at the hotel nothing bothered us we were there for one night room size was enough for family good location and the price was kinda high hope next time will be cheaper for us thank you

« Good value for a decent hotel »

I have stayed in this hotel in the past. The quality is good for the price, although those looking for a swank resort would want to look elsewhere in town. The rooms are spacious and clean, and there is even a refrigerator, should you want to bring food in.

    3
« Not the best, but decent »

Not the best stay! Beds creaked and were lumpy. Floor creaked. A/C/heat was too high on the wall to reach buttons and the remote didn't work. No instructions. TV was okay - had Direct TV. Room was larger than usual, with enough floor space that if you had children with you they'd have some floor space to play. -- Hard to get into parking lot. It was obvious that at one time it was on the main road but new roads changed the traffic pattern. They gave you instructions to get out of the lot around the back of the hotel so you could get to a street with a stoplight. The room cost - $163.00 with tax for two queens - was overpriced for the room. They served the usual breakfast. Room was decently clean. The front desk was very helpful.

Nice big room , old hotel but well maintained. Nice view , great quiet location. Friendly staff. Very luxurious breakfast buffet compared to similar hotels. We will surely come back one day and recommend to our travelling friends.

    « Great location »

We recently spent Thanksgiving weekend in Prescott and decided to stay here because of the location and easy access to the downtown square. It was an easy walk down and back, saving us the hassle of finding parking. Front desk staff and breakfast host were all very pleasant and helpful.

    4
« Big room, nice breakfast »

I stayed here over the Thanksgiving holiday. My room was large and clean. The hotel puts out a large selection of food for breakfast: eggs, potatoes, ham, sausage, ground beef, salsa, shredded cheese, jalapenos, warm tortillas (the last few to build a breakfast burrito), cut fruit, juice, coffee, etc. The breakfast area is large with lots of tables.

    « Surprisingly good... »

This little gem does not look, like much from the road...but the people here really care about your care and comfort; from the general manager to the breakfast man and housekeeping staff. Location is perfect as a base from which to explore, as its close to main roads, yet road noise is nil from the part of the hotel they call "kings row". Rooms are very clean, adequate in size, as are the bath towels, and the bed is fairly comfortable (if a little noisy when one turns) Ask for an extra blanket during winter months, which they will happily supply. Each room has a microwave and refrigerator, which have been very useful for us. There is a well stocked mini-mart just a few doors down for "provisions". Breakfast is very good, a large room with many tables and chairs that can get crowded on the weekends. There are a lot of food choices for all types of eaters and the breakfast man keeps the food hot and seemingly never ending. (My favorite is the make your own breakfast burrito station.) The only odd thing is the sink/vanity is unusually low (and I'm short). At first I thought it might be for wheelchair access, but there's no way a wheel chair bound person to get close enough to use the sink to use it due to how the front of the vanity is constructed. All in all, this place is a great value for money spent. Will we be back? Yup. Every time we're in town...

« Best In the West »

Clean, good beds, nice check in staff, small bathroom. Quiet and cozy. Good breakfast. Breakfast wait staff in a bit of a hurry to take your plate, but would stay there again. Close to downtown, which is a plus as that is where all the fun things to see are.

Excellent good price. Cleaning service could have left body wash and shamooo in the bathroom and the cleaning ladies/gentlemen should not touch people's cups and throw them away on a stay over. I was mad cuz they threw my only cup away I had for water

« First time for everything »

Stayed at this hotel for 1 night. Room was comfortable. I had 2 issues with my stay. Biggest issue was 1 that I have never encountered anywhere. As I am ironing my business clothes, I notice a plant, Yes a plant, sprouting up out of the foundation in the room. How the heck does a plant sprout and grow in the room? Second issue was with the security latch. It clearly needed to be secured as the top screw was coming out of the base. Overall stay was good, but most likely will not return unless I want to stay at a botanical garden.

    « I'll be back! »

My family lives in Prescott. I've stayed here on other occasions and will return. I will not bother to even investigate other places because I'm very happy staying here. The staff is extremely professional and attentive to detail. They are courteous, knowledgeable and helpful.

Thanks to Tripadviser we spent one night in Prescottonian. Place is very nice and clean, with a helpful staff. The breakfast was the best we have ever had in USA and as an european I'm delighted to use real forks and plates! Big bonus for that! I hope some day the other hotels will follow...

    « Best stay ever »

Great service- Great breakfast, in fact the best we have ever had-Very friendly and helpful. Wanted to stay longer just to be taken care of so well. The staff at check in was friendly and gave us great recommendations for what to see and where to eat. Breakfast was, as I said, the best ever. So much to choose from and all was fresh and warm and wonderful. Asked a staff member about the green chili sauce and she went to the back to get us the name. The owner was there and talked to us and shared a lot about area. The whole staff was great.

« Good Value for the Money »

My wife and I have been staying here several times a year for over 10 years. Why? Great front desk staff, all you can eat hot breakfast including make-your-own waffles, and clean rooms. Although the office is located on busy Gurley St., the rooms are situated far enough away from the street so the rooms are quiet. I'm a light sleeper so quiet rooms are important to me. (In the summer, the room air conditioner does bother me, but not my wife.) In our previous stay there, we learned that they have several adjoining rooms with a connecting door for larger gatherings. My son and his wife stayed in one room; and somehow our granddaughters ended up sleeping in our adjoining room.

« Beautiful hotel in a central location. »

This was one of the nicest reasonably priced hotels I have ever stayed at. The room was modern with pretty décor, and the hotel's public sitting areas were lovely. The breakfast had a nice selection and was delicious. The staff was very friendly, we will stay at this property again when visiting Prescott in the future.

« Very nice for the price »

We booked for a 1 night stay after reading reviews and were very happy with the room and the service. Quick check -in and check-out after breakfast the next day. The reviews before are true - nice large, clean room and an excellent breakfast included. Free parking and internet also add to the value. The place is a bit older, but the rooms have been updated with tiled shower and granite counters at bathroom vanity. There was coffee, a microwave, a fridge and plenty of pillows in the room... all must haves! We also had dinner at the Plaza Bonita right on site (separate review, but very good). Would definitely recommend this to a friend as a nice place to stay in Prescott and pretty centrally located.

« Our first choice in Prescott »

Good location and very good value for our leisure trips to Prescott. Free breakfast has many food choices. Now has Express Check-out Service. Since Prescott has so much to see, we don't spend lots of time in hotel but love that it is easy to get to and has all that we need in one place.

« I Need a Refund! No sleep and not happy! »

Stayed here 1 night, dog and Corvette convention in town! Could not sleep with barking and engine revving! Breakfast was very cheap quality- watered juice, no bacon, canned fruit. Bath had smell of old building. Housekeeping entered my room while at breakfast, came back, everything moved. I was scheduled to check out, excuse was- they made a mistake! Remodeled room, but no pillowtop mattress like most hotels. No sleep and not happy!

« Best Western Prescott AZ »

Above average, very nice place to stay. I wanted a hotel near downtown Prescott. Very convenient. My family came in town for a wedding. This hotel helped us celebrate. The only problem was that Prescott had a Corvette show and many of the cars were very loud early in the morning. Not the fault of the hotel.

Good, clean rooms, some with a view. Bed was incredibly comfortable, as were the pillows. Shower was strong, towels soft. The bar tender served the best Margaritas in town. Staff was very friendly. Even the breakfast food was better than expected.

« Great staff, comfortable hotel »

I stayed her for business. All staff from the front desk to the breakfast staff were very professional and kind. The room was extremely clean and the lay-out of the room was well thought out. There was a variety of foods to choose from for the complimentary breakfast and the staff at the complimentary breakfast were personable and professional.

« WOW! Great price, service and anemities! »

Looked at prices for a one nite stay during a busy weekend in Prescott. I found all the hotels I had stayed at previously had increased significantly. We had not stayed at this motel and as it was not a "premier" or a "plus" designated Best Western, I was not sure what to expect. Well, check-in, although busy, was an efficient and friendly transaction. The room was clean, great bed, TV, Internet..the bathroom was a bit small but not inconvenient. I would definitely stay here in the future..a terrific value for such a low price. Also, one of the better breakfasts compared to the higher end hotel chains.

    4
    « Good value.Large rooms.Very comfortable »

Was attending a local dog show.Needed a hotel that accepted pets. I had a downstairs room with parking right outside the door- very convenient. Enough parking in other areas too. Accepted pets with a fee which was reasonable. Rooms large and spacious and very well maintained. My only complaint would be that the so called PET AREA- was a bunch of dirt with weeds. They need a nicer pet walking area- or put in a dog run on the rocks somewhere. I'm always amazed that hotels don't think of this. Easy- plus if you put dog poop bags near run- it gets picked up! I went to Mexican restaurant on site and would not recommend.

Room was clean, bed was nice, breakfast was good. The best hashbrowns that I've had at a hotel buffet. Experience is what I expected for a Best Western. Though I used my points to pay for the room, don't know if I would have stayed there for the $140 it would have cost me if I had to pay for it.

« Older property but clean and comfortable »

One night stay en route to northern Arizona. Our room was quite large, clean, very comfortable. There was a wedding party there when we stayed, and as we had asked/hoped for a quiet room, we were placed in a different building - and indeed it was very quiet. The breakfast seemed better than the average Best Western. All in all a very comfortable stay, convenient to downtown/courthouse square etc. and restaurants, and a very good value for the $$. I would stay here again!

    3
    « Average At Best »

The people were great its just the beds are not that great, but then again I am spoiled at home to a great mattress. If you used Tuft & Needle mattress's you may gain some market share. The place is nice with a good breakfast.

    4
    « Your website »

We all enjoyed our stay, however you need to specify on your website that 'pet-friendly' only pertains to dogs. We weren't aware that cats are not permitted until we checked in, even though we did state under 'special requests' that we were travelling with our cat. If cats aren't permitted in the future, I'm sorry to say that that we won't be able to stay at your accommodation in the future. I'm glad that your evening desk clerk made a phone call for us so we could stay there with our kitty for this time.

    4
    « Friendly and comfortable »

The staff at the Prescottonian are very friendly and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was a little small but clean. The only big problem we encountered was noise and inconsiderate guests in nearby rooms but that's hardly something the hotel chain or staff can control. I might try another hotel when I come into town again but if someone asks I'd give them positive thoughts about this one.

    4
« Good and getting better »

A new manager is rapidly upgrading this facility in every way possible. New beds. Switch to Direct TV. Better Wii-Fi. Better morning breakfast buffet. And best of all, hiring people who are competent and clearly are concerning about your needs. It is becoming more like a Ritz-Carlton experience, from a personnel standpoint, than your average mid-range hotel. The location is excellent. Just a few blocks from historic downtown Prescott. And not far from the newer business area that includes Costco, Wal-Mart, etc.

    4
    « Good location »

    « Great Stay! »

The rooms were very comfortable, and there was a great full breakfast available, not the lousy doughnut and coffee you get elsewhere. Also, the beds were so comfortable and the pet policy/facilities made the stay so easy and convenient. The location was central to all the places we visited in the area!

    5
    « Nice place »

We stayed here while in town for an event. A bunch of our friends did. I loved it! It cost a little more than your average low budget hotel but it was worth it. The bed was super comfortable. The room was clean, the shower was amazing, and there were a ton of channels on the TV to choose from. There is free Wi-Fi and free continental breakfast. The breakfast was delicious with lots of options! I highly recommend staying here. We will stay here again if we must travel to the area.

« Great location and dependable Best Western comfort »

Comfortable modern room, good service, and a nice hot breakfast make this an excellent stop for a visit to Prescott. Although at a busy intersection where you begin to enter the downtown area, the motel is back from the street and quiet. The location is great for getting around to area attractions. We found it quick to get to the historic district and all of the great restaurants (there's a fridge in the room for your leftovers) and attractions, as well as to Watson Lake and the Phippen Museum in the other direction.

    « Good basic motel »

This is a good motel for meeting basic needs. The good parts were the free WiFi, above average size refrigerator, and microwave in the room. The bathroom also had a nice layout. There is a good size convenience store very close to the property. The A/C had difficulty cooling the room. The beds were average and the room was clean. There was a small flat screen TV. The ice machine is located at the stairs so if you want a little less noise ask for a room away from the machine.

I do a lot of traveling and about 50% of the time I stay at best westerns. This trip was a business trip and had two large trucks and trailers with us. I can't say enough good things about my stay here plenty of parking even if you have trucks trailers boats whatever there is enough. I had originally booked another hotel but got there with no where to park so I called and wow exceptional service on the phone very polite and helpful with directions to get there. When I arrived the same ! Over the top hospitality very polite very helpful with where to eat close by anything we needed just can't say enough good things about all of the staff. Even on checking out the next day and a breakfast buffet not your continent breakfast but a good breakfast for a Best Western ! The rooms were up to date clean and very comfortable setting with beautiful views. This one should be a Best Western Plus !! They also have a Mexican restaurant on the property but I had arrived to late and they had already shut down for the night. But anybody heading through or staying for some time I'll give it two thumbs up great place and superb staff

    « Pros and Cons »

My wife and I stayed 2 nights on a short weekend trip to Prescott. I picked the Prescottonian on a mix of ranking and price -- # 6 of 22 in Prescott on TripAdvisor and $112/night plus tax booked direct through Best Western. There were pros and cons to our stay, but overall I am not sure how this hotel is ranked #6. The pros -- price, free breakfast, courteous staff, location. The cons -- cleanliness, a/c. As mentioned at the outset, the price was $112/night before tax, which i thought was very good for a highly ranked hotel. The free breakfast was outstanding - great selection of hot and cold food, juices, fruit, etc. (although the coffee was bad - so bad that I picked up a cup of coffee the 2nd morning at a gas station minimart, which was much better). The staff, from check in to housekeeping, were very courteous, and check in was fast and easy; also, the front desk person called our room within 10 minutes of us reaching our room to make sure everything was ok. The location, at the intersection of 69 and 89, is only a mile or so from downtown Prescott and easy access to almost everything in Prescott and Prescott Valley. On the flip side, we had little control over our a/c -- it seems there is a governor on how cool you can go, and the a/c shuts off for long periods of time when the room reaches the lower limit set by the hotel. So, we experienced the noise of the a/c turning on/turning off, and stretches where the room got a bit warm and uncomfortable between the "ons." General housekeeping was ok, but the room had a bit of a musty smell and we found a rather large stain on the comforter (housekeeping switched out after we called the front desk). Both these cons were surprising for a hotel ranked #6. Bottom line for us -- we won't be booking the BW Prescottonian on future trips to Prescott.

I was invited to play in a Senior Games Volleyball tournament in Prescott, Az. I had never been to Prescott, so I was pleased to come and explore and visit the area before the games were held. This hotel was in the perfect location very close to the college campus that held the volleyball tournament. It also served a great breakfast to start the day, with lots of options. The front desk was friendly and provided us with maps and direction for site seeing. They also were able to split our bill between teammates sharing the rooms. How great is that. Rosa Italian restaurant for great salads, fresh and crispy and we had the best fish "Orange Roughy"

The staff was friendly - especially the gentleman working the breakfast room. He kept the food items stocked and fresh. The location is a short drive to old town Prescott. « Great for quick overnight get aways from Phoenix heat »

We enjoyed our time in Prescott. What we enjoyed most about the Best Western was the ease of getting a room the day of, the early check-in and the close walking proximity to downtown Prescott. Would be perfect for those with children as breakfast is served and the pool was sparkling clean and used only by me (as far as I could tell).

« Our Stay in Prescott »

We were in Prescott to attend a wedding. Much of our travel has been at Best Westerns. The Prescottonian was clean and friendly. Our gripes were with having to ask twice for sufficient wash towels and the lack of any shade around the pool area. Tables and chairs were offered, but no umbrellas. We cut our stay a day short because of this.

Friendly helpful, clean and neat large rooms where 2 people are not running into each other. Great location to get to all of Prescott's major events and the Main street attractions. We have been staying at this hotel for more than 20years.

« Convenient stop in historic town »

The Best Western Prescottonian is just a short jog from historic downtown Prescott. We sought out this location to escape summer heat. The room was clean and quiet at night - key for a good night's sleep in anticipation of a long hot drive the next day. Front desk was involved with a problematic telephone call when we first came in, but the clerk gave us a great rate for the night.

« Breakfast that comes with your stay »

This is a great breakfast that comes with your stay. Its self serve, with all the fixin's you'll want to get yourself moving in the morning. Mr Ed, the server that creates the morning breakfast and all the service with it is great! Thanks for an easy morning Mr. Ed.

« Best BW breakfast I have ever had »

Well, when I checked in for my night stay, the Woman at the desk said to make sure I tried their breakfast as Ed does a great job. Well, that next morning I went in for a most wonderful full spread breakfast - fresh, visually appealing, tasted great, many selections of real eggs, meats, fruits, fresh oatmeal, cereals and wonderful coffee ( not to mention toasts, pastries and juices). I left grateful and pleased with a hearty, home cooked breakfast. Try it whenever you go to Prescott AZ

This hotel was awesome! great room, great service, as per usual with Best Western. We were going to stay at antelope inn in prescott, don't even consider it!! Go straight into town on Gurley, this will be the first hotel you see on the left . go see these folks! you wont be disappointed !

« Excellent Hotel Choice When In Prescott, AZ! »

Loved this hotel. Room was spacious and very clean! The breakfast area was huge and had a great variety of breakfast items. Ed, the man in charge of the breakfast room, was very nice and the service was excellent! Bed was OK-it wasn't uncomfortable. So many of the hotels now are changing to the pillowtop mattresses- we wish they would all change to pillowtop! Would definitely stay at the Prescottonian again!!

Enjoyed 3 days in a good motel, with a marvelous breakfast waiting for us every morning. The motel needs a bit of work done( cosmetically), but was clean and convenient to all the necessary location. We love Prescott. The food adjoining the motel, Plaza Bonita... Out of this world... A great stay!! Pet friendly??

« Clean Friendly Motor Inn »

Helpful and accommodating staff. Large and clean property on SR - 69 (E. Gurley St.) with easy access to all local restaurants and businesses in Prescott and Prescott Valley. Nice pool with special needs access and large deck. Room for oversize parking but I would call for directions before trying to access it.

This hotel has everything you need for business or pleasure at a very good price. Always clean and comfortable, friendly staff, great complimentary breakfast, Mexican restaurant on property and they accept dogs! We never stay anywhere else in Prescott.

« Very nice place and staff »

I had a late check-in for my three day stay. I was welcomed and all my paper work was ready. The older gentleman at the front desk was so nice, he even upgraded me to their best quiet third floor king bed room. He even spent time explaining what's around and about their in-house Mexican restaurant. I booked this hotel after the reviews on tripadvisor and I am glad I stayed at this place. Five stars and yes, their breakfast is pretty good too

« Needs better cleaning service and a renovation! »

I was so disappointed in this motel after just having a wonderful experience at The Best Western Legacy in Mesa. Everything at this motel just feels cheap and tired. From the grounds, to the building, carpet, beds, bedding, tub, shower curtain, toiletries and super thin towels, which by the way had several black hairs on them (as did the bathroom floor) Yuck! The pool was a bit disappointing as well as it was not heated so a bit chilly and the the whole thing was tile making the bottom quite slippery. No umbrellas or trees around the pool area for shade. The staff were pleasant and professional on a positive note. I will, however be looking to stay elsewhere on our next visit to the area.

    « Hiking Getaway »

Very comfortable, quiet room. We asked for a quiet King room, and this was one of the quietest we've stayed in (including the air conditioner!). They have a whole wing in the back that are all king beds and in the property's quietest location. Friendly, helpful staff!

    « Wasn't expecting too much »

Was pleasantly surprised. Loved the bed, the breakfast was very nice, staff was very professional and welcoming. Quiet. Wasn't expecting much when I saw that there were outdoor "corridors" to the rooms, and that the hotel was on a busy street. But the room was large and comfortable, and we didn't hear any street noise.

« BW - Great Night Sleep and Better Breakfast »

On our recent vacation, we decided to stay at Best Western hotels in the cities we were visiting (Tucson, Roswell, and Prescott.) The main reason was the hot breakfast offered at each of the hotels. Not your regular breakfast fare, the options were scrambled eggs, sausage, ham, bacon, variety of bread, fruit, etc. and coffee. The beds were comfortable and the wifi was easy to connect too. Staying at BW saved us at least $30+ on breakfast a day. Best Western will be our first option in booking a hotel. Thanks!

    « Overnight »

My wife and I drove up from Phoenix for a fun getaway out of the heat, We stayed and the Prescottonian for our overnight in Prescott. Check in was easy and the staff were all friendly and professional. The appearance of the hotel was nice and clean. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The restroom was clean , but the toilet was very small. We loved the fact that the room had a very nice size and clean dorm room refrigerator and a microwave. We had great views of Granite Mountain. Complimentary breakfast was very good, choice of scrambled eggs gravy, ham sausage waffles, biscuits, cereals, yogurts, pastries, fruit, coffee, juice, milk. the breakfast area was clean and managed by friendly staff. I think the B W in the California area could learn a thing or two from the B W. Check out was quick and easy. We will return to the B W to enjoy the cooler climate of Prescott.

    « Comfortable room »

This is a very nice clean comfortable room at a reasonable price. The staff went out of their way to accommodate guests calling to make sure everything in the room was acceptable. Maps of the area were available. There was a nice pool that was handicapped accessible. It is located in a great location, on the main street and walking distance to town.

    « Right at Home »

Robin was very well-mannered and accommodating! She called the room after I got settled to make sure all was well. No hotel has every done that before. She genuinely cares about her customers. The room was very quiet and very well kept up. After driving all day, it was nice to get a good nights sleep. robin deserves a raise!

    « Great visit »

We stayed for two nights. Our room was huge and very clean. We booked the 2 bedroom suite. I booked very early and felt it was a good price mixed with my AAA discount. We enjoyed the breakfast and how kind everyone was. When we arrived Alan was beyong helpful. We would stay here again.

    5
    « Wonderful value »

The best breakfast operation I've ever experienced. Ed is great at his job. the food is also great. The breakfast is it worth at least $25 for a couple so the room including breakfast is a real real bargain.

    « type of quality »

This is a very nice place to stay. Very convenient location. Very clean and pretty quiet. We are moving to the area and have stayed at another location as well as this one. We made the mistake of booking another motel the night before this stay, and the place was a disaster. We were very pleased with our stay and will no doubt return when we need to book a room in Prescott.

    « Great Value Hotel »

Rooms were very quiet and clean. Within walking distance to the square (about .8 of a mile.). Small swimming pool but heated and clean. The amazing thing about this hotel was the breakfast. Free hot meal and plenty of food. They had eggs scrambled, eggs hard boiled, sausage, hot cakes, waffles, cereal, biscuits gravy, bagels, milk, three kinds of juices, great coffee...fresh fruit and much more!!! I pigged out as the quality was so good. This made the place for me!!

    « So-so experience »

We don't usually stay in Best Westerns, so I don't recall exactly how we chose this place, except that our criteria at the time was just a reasonably priced place (compared to a few others we considered) that had excellent Tripadvisor reviews. And on those counts, the Best Western Prescottonian delivered. It also has an efficient front desk staff, an abundant breakfast (assuming you like traditional breakfast stuff and aren't especially picky re. your brand of yogurt, etc.) with a pleasant staff, and a location that worked for our needs. But the main thing we did not like that would make us look elsewhere the next time was value for our dollar. This place is NOT worth $150 a night, which was their rack rate on Saturday night. We paid slightly less with AAA and pre-booking, as well as a somewhat lower rate for a couple of weeknights, which brought the average down. But $150 for Saturday night is nuts, especially in view of an extremely noisy A/C that kicked on and off all night and was difficult to adjust, as well as a disappointing on-site restaurant experience, which I'll detail in a review of its own. Their hard and scratchy "earth friendly" toilet paper wasn't customer friendly, and the tiny bathroom -- which appeared clean enough -- wasn't as deeply clean as I expect. Our room did have nice bed linens, a comfy K bed, and a small refrigerator, so was comfortable in that regard. But I still felt like Saturday night's rate was a clear case of charging what the market will bear vs. good value, and too high for the simple motel room, no elevator, and annoying A/C. We were also disappointed that there was no hot tub, and the pool is positioned adjacent to a busy, noisy highway.

    « Nice Motel »

We stayed here 5 days. The motel rooms were big with a refrigerator and microwave. They had a pretty nice bed. Only issue we had is pool opened 2 hours late everyday. My daughter loves to swim so it was kind of a drag having to wait, but the pool was nice and refreshing. Too bad there aren't any umbrellas to shade that hot sun. We just moved our chairs to any shade we could find. The breakfast was nice to fill up on every morning. From eggs, to biscuits and gravey, ham, cereal, doughtnuts, and fresh fruit. "Ed" was very attentive cleaning up plates, helping people figure out how to use the equipment, and being friendly overall. I would recommend staying here.

    « Excellent Stay »

This Best Western far exceeded our expectations. The staff was friendly and attentive. Our room was very large and clean. The beds were amazingly comfortable and we all got a great nights rest. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks for being pet friendly!

    « AC »

Must have AC that the guests can adjust the settings without standing on a chair. With it running in short cycles one could not stay comfy. All 3 rooms we had booked, the guests had the same issue with the AC cycle. NO ONE RESTED! Zero water pressure in the shower.

« Nice, clean friendly hotel »

We stayed overnight at this Best Western hotel. The rooms are in separate buildings from the front desk main building. A great Mexican restaurant shares the main building. We had dinner there and was very happy with the quality of food and the large serving sizes. The rooms are spacious and clean with comfortable beds. Breakfast is included, located in the main building. Great selection for a free breakfast with a friendly, attentive attendant "Ed". He did a great job keeping food items full, removing finished plate and making us feel welcomed. I would recommend this reasonably priced hotel.

« Slow check in, but quiet stay. »

When we arrived, it felt like check in took forever. The receptionist was very nice and friendly. Our rooms were very large, plenty of room. All had refrigerators and microwaves in the rooms. Bed were overall comfortable. The pool had plenty of room for many people to sit and enjoy the view. There was also plenty of room for the kids to swim and have a good time. The complimentary Breakfast bar was one of the best! All food was fresh, the seating area was very clean, and the person busing the tables was very friendly. Many of options from eggs to waffles to oatmeal to fruit and donuts. There was something for everyone!

    « Motel Best Western »

This was an outstanding experience and really did enjoy my stay.. The room was very clean and the bed was really comfortable. There was a small problem with the TV remote control in selecting channels.

    2
    « needs an overhaul/no elevator »

grumpy desk check-in, had a 'suite' terrible lighting, small flat screen tv mounted high on the wall, depressing brown carpet, very cheap furniture. Bedroom, another small flat screen tv. very few choices, less than basic cable. Good internet (free) bed was ok, crummy pillows, loud a/c units in both room. too much money for a beat up hotel/room Good Mexican restaurant on the property. Did not try the free breakfast.

    4
« Comfortable with great breakfast »

This is a very busy hotel in a very busy town. Except some noise since there are many motorcycles around. I thought the room needed better seating since it was a large room even with a king size bed. The breakfast has hot foods like scrambled eggs, sausage and potatoes. Waffles are available also with a wide assortment of cold products and breads.

    4
    « Good location »

A very central location for any visit to the Prescott area. Driving ones vehicle out of the traffic into the parking lot requires caution. Prescott isn't a sleeply little town anymore and the hotel is located near the intersections of traffic coming into the city and traffic leaving. That volume of traffic requires more attention by the guest entering and leaving than other locations. If a driver can put on his or her NASCAR hat, then all will be just fine as one races to Whiskey Row, or to a favorite hiking trail to let off some of the steam.

There was a very nice room available for us when we checked in. The front desk employee was very helpful in figuring out that we had enough points for a free stay. Yes, that is for us. She had good information about the area, where to eat, what to see. Our service was excellent. Next morning the breakfast was served by a fantastic chef. Wonderful meal and wonderful conversation with other guest and the staff.

« nice place to take a rest. »

I was pleased with this hotel. the bathroom was a little small and cramped but since i was there with me and my daughter it wasn't so bad. we didn't spend a lot of time in the room anyway. the breakfast was good but it can be a little boring after a couple days. Maybe switch up the fruit at least? Reasonably priced, free internet, free breakfast. I would recommend this hotel.

I don't get to Prescott often, but I look for the Prescottonian every time, and have since 1973 when we moved to AZ. « Excellent staff; mushy bed. »

Excellent staff. Mushy bed with no firm or semi-firm mattress; mattress too soft. Breakfast (I got in on the tail-end); but breakfast was cold and not fresh tasting by the end. Prefer bacon to sausage; they only serve sausage. Minor problem with toilet innards chain; fixed it ourselves. Quiet and peaceful stay; that was wonderful.

    « Quality & Value »

as a Balance, of Quality and Value, this hotel was a prime fit. Its right as you make entry to town, easy identified, ample parking, & the rooms are clean. We love staying at the BW Prescott. Breakfast is always good, great views off the balcony and close to the Square. There is a Mexican restaurant on site which has very good food, service is very slow but the bacon wrapped shrimp is a must and drink prices are reasonable.

It had been a long day and we were tired. After a quick dinner at the onsite restaurant, I fell into a very comfortable bed and didn't resurface until morning. The restaurant was good, I think. Too tired to take much notice. The room was particularly clean and comfortable!

    « Convenient to town »

We only spent one night, but standing outside the door of our room before entering, I thought it was going to be a noisy location with street noise nearby. But we were pleasantly surprised once inside, and closed the door, we could barely hear any of the noise. It is a rather large complex, and there are a couple other buildings further back on the property, so if traffic noise would have been an issue, we could have moved further back. The room was spacious and had a mini-fridge and microwave which we also desire. Wi-Fi connection worked fine also.

    5
    « Great Time »

« Great Value, Close to Town »

We were in town to see a show (Food Channel's Alton Brown) at the Yavapai College, so we picked this hotel because it was within walking distance. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. Only "con" was the air conditioner, bathroom fan and toilet were really loud. We don't really care about that kind of stuff, but if you do, you might want to make sure you get a room with a quieter toilet and fan. I believe all the a/c units run the same, plus he toilet eventually shuts off as with the vent/fan. It was pleasant enough weather so we didn't really need to run the air conditioner that much either. The "pro" which much outweighed the "con" was the bed and pillows. Extremely comfortable. The room was huge, too. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

    « Decent hotel »

Decent hotel and good price. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. I had one semi-bad experience. I went to an early morning meeting and returned before the check out time. Upon my return I discovered the maids had cleaned out my room and discarded the small items I left in my room. I'm not sure why they would clean my room before I checked out. It was strange that they cleaned my room before 11:00 am when they didn't clean my room at all the day before.

    « An excellent experience »

We liked everything about this hotel. The personnel were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. The attendant in charge was alert and very professional, keeping all food containers filled. A large window in the breakfast room provided a great view which was most relaxing as we ate. Our room was large enough for everything we carry on a trip

« Outstanding place in Prescott area »

This place was a real treat. Allen, the fellow at the desk was as friendly as anyone could be. If the customers were piling up, he would take a number and call them back. He took as much time as required to make every customer feel special. The rooms were clean and well appointed. The area was quiet so there was no trouble with sleeping. All in all, a great place to spend a night.

    « A solid hotel. »

I visited Prescott for two days to attend a family celebration. The room was fine. It was clean and comfortable but nothing special. The breakfast came with the room. The buffet was above average and included several warm dishes. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel's location was very convenient to all my Prescott activities. In short, I had a pleasant stay in this comfortable, friendly hotel.

« Better than other hotels that charge twice as much »

Wanted to play some golf but away from the bustle of Phoenix, Prescott is a wonderful city with lots of shopping opportunities. The Prescottonian was easy to find, has well appointed rooms, quite, clean and serves a complimentary breakfast that is better than many 5 star hotels! Great value and great service by the front desk and the breakfast attendant. Would stay there again if travel takes me back to Phoenix.

« Great view, helpful staff »

This hotel is located right off of the main street running through Prescott, a wonderfully beautiful city hidden off the beaten path. Check-in was a breeze and the staff at the counter were very helpful and friendly. There is a Mexican restaurant on site that offers good food at decent prices. We stayed in a deluxe two queen bed room and it was roomy and comfortable. Wi-fi is reliable, and the free breakfast buffet offered a good selection of hot food. The hotel is close to downtown and Whiskey Row.

    4
« BETTER THEN OTHER MOTELS »

This Best Western is not classified as a PLUS property (I believe) because it is set up like a motel instead of hotel, it quality is as good or better then most BW plus properties. You can tell they take pride in their property. I do beleive other BW properties could take lesson from them. All they way from how friendly staff is to how clean the over all property is. Other then a few minor issues in the bathroom I just couldn't find fault with any thing on this property. Price, service, and quality all exceeded my expectation at this property. I will still say that the BW brand is still not on my first choice list, because of a terrible experience that I had at the BW seven sea property in San Diego (AVOID THIS SAN DEIGO PROPERTY YOU CAN READ MY REVIEW ON THEM). To this day those issue have never been acknowledge by anyone.

« Quiet, Comfortable and Affortable »

Walking distance to downtown. You can park right in front of your room. The rooms are a little set back from the major business route. The rooms are very quiet and clean. They have a refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, iron and ironing board. They have a mexican restaurant that serves lunch and dinner that is very good and reasonably priced. Also, the free breakfast is served in part of the restaurant. The front desk person is very friendly and will try to answer all your questions.

Breakfast was fine, hot and cold options. easy to get to, close to downtown Prescott. overall a very pleasant stay. would book this hotel again for our team.

Loud heater, uncomfortable bed, the vanity and bathroom are in need of remodeling, the breakfast looked good but I did not partake as it was included in my business conference . I would only recommend if you are on a very tight budget.

« Great Place to Stay for Under $100 »

Friendly staff, clean rooms, hot breakfast.. Just stayed over night while passing through town and would stay again. Very decent for price. Free internet and lots of TV channels in room. We stayed in March, so cooler weather - enjoyed leaving windows open for fresh air. Room w/King was very large space with sofa and coffee table, plus desk area. Located right on Hwy 87 and convenient to historic downtown area.

    « Comfy and clean »

The room was nice and clean. Beds cozy! Mini fridge and microwave.Front desk staff friendly, had a good laugh and he was quite knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast was great! Scrambled eggs, sausage and ham, biscuits, fresh fruits, breads, cereals and waffles to name most of it! Mexican restaurant attached is good too. Decent location.

« Nice hotel centrally located in the downtown area »

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel while in Prescott. It is conveniently located near the city's vibrant downtown square. The king room as comfortable and roomy. There was no freezer unit in the small frig, but the staff refroze our ice packs for us, which was nice. The counter space in the room was good. The hot breakfast was excellent, though the male attendant started cleaning up 5-10 minutes earlier than the 9 am end time. Several people were coming to breakfast about that time. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and in particular the central location near to where we needed to be. We would stay here again

    « Nice Stay......No Surprises »

The hotel, though older, was very nice. Room was large and clean and the staff was excellent. Our first trip to Prescott was delightful and the hotel helped in the experience. A good Best Western all the way. The morning breakfast was the best we ever had in a regular BW hotel. Up to Plus standards or better. Absolutely wonderful. Staff was very helpful in pointing out local attractions.

we stayed here for 4 nights and it was very comfortable the room was surprisingly larger than we had expected. the staff were always friendly and cheerful we will stay here again. it was a perfect location between prescott & prescott valley where we were investigating for possible retirement - a lovely community and great hiking trails all around.

As usual good standard of rooms at a BW hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms with very nice beds. Very good profesisonable service and quality, helpfull employees. The breakfast was varied - a very good continental breakfast. The hotel is easy to find. Plaza Bonita a fine mexican restaurant on side the front desk . I like the free coffee! :-)

« good rooms average breakfast »

We arrived at 1:00 a.m.in the morning. Night person was pleasant and helpful. The room we were put in ended up being a nightmare. A construction crew was using the room next to ours and was sitting outside the room drinking. We thought when we arrived they would quiet down. They did move inside but stayed up till after 330 a.m. Our room was very nice. The next morning we asked to be moved to a different room. This was done without any problem. .The new room was also a very nice room . The lighting in the rooms does leave a lot to be desired. The breakfast was average at best both mornings. The eggs were nearly cold. The sausage of poor quality and nearly cold. The toaster burned everything that went through it. There were no Potatoes of any kind. Who doesn't have Potatoes at a breakfast? My wife tried some French Toast and it was not good and was also cold. The temperature on the warming dishes were reading 175 degrees but that was not true. The rooms are clean and well decorated. The staff is very pleasant. They must deal with a lot of commercial business. I would definitely request a room away from any commercially rented rooms when booking with them. The restaurant located on the property serves very good Mexican food.

I travel to Prescott 2 or 3 times a year to play music at the bird cage on whiskey row. I bring my wife and daughter so staying at the best western "Prescottonian" is a pleasant experience for all of us.

    « Family Visit »

My family and I have come to the Prescott area for many years starting in the 1970's and we have stayed at the Prescottonian with most of our short visits. The Prescottonian has been through renovations and always for the better. Just a short drive to downtown and you are on the edge of Prescott to head north to Chino Valley for family visits or head west for the hiking trails of Thumb Butte. Manager and staff are great.

« Great Hotel Staff, Terrible Hotel Condition »

This hotel is definitely not typical of the Best Western's we have visitied before. The staff was great ... very helpul, courteous and friendly. The condition of the rooms are poor ... in desperate need of a good cleaning and remodeling. The breakfast was typical of most medium priced motels that offer free breakfast. Nothing special. The helper in the dining room was extremely efficient and friendly.

Prescott is a delightful town, and the hotel fits right in. The staff is very friendly and helpful; this is not my first trip to the area, but y first stay in a hotel I definitely will stay here when I take a vacation. The Southwest atmosphere, including their restaurant, is so cheerful! Definitely a good value.

Try the biscuits and gravy. It's fresh made everyday and it is pretty darn good. All the breakfast food is a step above most other places I have stayed at in the past. The hotel has easy access to all areas of Prescott.

    « Prescott, AZ »

We were welcomed by a lovely person at the front counter. Very accomodating immediately. We arrived a little after 2, she immediately called housekeeping to see if there was a king room ready on the first floor. Housekeeping was trying to complete 100 rooms due the wrestling competition that had checked out that morning. It was great, easy to unload our car. We needed to print our boarding pass, she directed us to the computer in the business center and encouraged me to go ahead and do it. Breakfast was as good as Cracker Barrel. Scrambled eggs, toast, ham, hash browns, pancakes, waffles, yogurt, bagels, donuts, absolutely delicious. The front counter lady also gave us really good information on getting to the Phoenix airport. The hotel is located right by 69, so it was very easy to get on and head to the airport. All in all it was a very nice stay our last night of a 2 week visit in Arizona. Thanks.

« Great front counter person »

We arrived around 2 in the afternoon, not knowing how long it would tke us to drive from Overgaard. The lady immediately checked with the cleaning staff to see. If ther was a king room available on the first floor. They had 100 rooms to clean that morning from a wrestling competition that was in Prescott. I asked about printing our boarding pass...she said, "right there at the computer in their business center." There's ink in the printer, go ahead right now." She gave us information about getting to the Phoenix airport from there, and info we needed. We could park close and unload. The room was very close to where we could park our car. The bed was very comfortable, fidge and microwave, love seat to sit and relax. Delicious breakfast before heading to the airport for our last nights stay in Arizona. Scrambled eggs, ham, hash browns, pancakes, waffles, muffins, donuts, yogurt, cereal, and I am sure I missed some of the items...delicious. I would compare with Cracker Barrels breakfast. We were close to 69...hopped on it and headed to Phoenix.

The Prescottonian is one of the more dependable hotels in Prescott, especially for the price. The Restaurant (Mexican) was quite good, the staff friendly, the rooms clean, as well as the property. The shower had decent pressure, and the in-room coffee was acceptable.

    « I LOVE THIS PLACE »

We only stayed one night on our way through, but we spent a week here last fall. This is my favorite motel by far. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. The room we had was huge. We had 2 luggage stands, which is so nice. Everything was spotless. The bed was so comfortable that we didn't want to get up. 4 pillows on our king bed with a nice heavy comforter. I hate sleeping in a bed with 1 light blanket and a sheet on top. This was so cosy. The breakfast room is spacious. Lots of food to choose from...cereal, oatmeal, biscuits & gravy, ham, link sausage, regular scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs with mushrooms & veggies, yogurt, waffles (with strawberries & whipped cream, if you like), bagels, toast, pastries, and 3 kinds of juice. The is even someone there to bus tables. The only criticism I have is that you can't lock the window in the bathroom. There is a screen, but I think someone could easily cut through that. Otherwise, the place is fantastic.

We had a very nice clean and quiet room, staff was very helpful, using the lobby computer was my lifesaver for the short time we were there. Breakfast was fabulous. Were in town for a special event and the prices were bumped up considerably, that was all over town so what can you do.

« Nice hotel, good breakfast »

This is not the fanciest Best Western, but it is clean and comfortable. The bed was very nice. The breakfast was great with waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, fresh biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, canned and fresh fruit, cereal, pastries, juice, etc.

    « Snowy trip! »

It snowed extensively whilst we were in Prescott but most of it was cleared each morning so that we were able to cross the car park to reception and the breakfast room, which I personally much appreciated. Nice large room, very clean and a great breakfast what more could you want so enjoyed despite the snow!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Prescottonian in Prescott very much. The room was roomier than most motel rooms and very clean. The location is convenient to downtown and also Prescott Valley where we were also visiting. The staff were extremely helpful, courteous and helpful. We took advantage of the free breakfast which was well presented and refreshing. We plan to stay there for our next visit to Prescott.

« Best breakfast I have ever seen! »

The room was large, bathroom perfect, and I have never seen such a massive continental breakfast! We are extensive travellers, and this hotel rates very high! We also ate at Plaza Bonita which is the onsite restaurant and had a wonderful meal. Even though we do not like spicy food, we found this Mexican restaurant was perfect. The only downside to this motel may be that it is hard to access if you are coming from the East. It is situated beside an off ramp, so you quickly have to turn into it, or turn around and come back to it. I highly recommend this hotel!

    4
    « Prescotonian BW »

This Hotel is centrally located near downtown Prescott. It is clean and comfortable. The hotel offers complimentary breakfast but don't expect a great deal of variety or options. There is an attached Mexican Restaurant but we did not try during this visit. Our room was clean with average amenities. Be aware that there are no elevators, so if stairs are difficult be sure to make ground floor entrance a must at booking or there might not be an easy access room available when you check in. Over all, I would classify this a decent [motel] and not at all a hotel with hotel like amenities which made the price a bit hard to swallow.

    5
    « great hotel »

I have stayed at Bestwestern Hotels for a few years now and it is a great chain with clean rooms, friendly staff members and great free breakfast. I would recommend this hotel chain to anyone. The one in Prescott was very clean with great beds.

    « Staying here was a joy »

This was an excellent stay at this Best Western. The room was clean, in good repair and had a comfortable bed. The staff is friendly and efficient. The chef that prepared the breakfast buffet went above and beyond! There were even individual omelets and a homemade Spanish sauce, hashbrowns, good sized slices of ham and biscuits & gravy(better than the local Cracker Barrel) in addition to all the Other buffet items. I was here to visit family and I know this will be my go-to choice whenever I'm in town.

I always rate this hotel excellent because of the people, the room, the food and the location!! We stay here consistently each time we come to the Veterans Clinic. The staff here even remember us although months go by in between visits. It makes our trips easier knowing we have a friendly, SAFE, and clean and convienient place to come back to in the evening.

Don't be fooled by the older Precottonian sign, which turned me off many times. The price was right this time so we decided to give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised. This hotel has many updated features, comfortable beds, spacious rooms and a great complimentary breakfast. Our stay was great and definitely will be returning as Prescott is our get away city.

« Always our "go to" place in Prescott »

« One of the best Best Western's »

Their rates are much better than competition. The staff is very professional and friendly. Breakfast has better variety and good quality. Same quality breakfast at Denny's would cost you extra $12.00.

    « Prescott, AZ »

If you need a place to stay in Prescott, you should stay here. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is great and one less meal you need to worry about. The hotel is central, on a main street in Prescott, and close to the historic downtown and shopping centers.

    4
« Friendly staff, clean hotel »

The staff was always helpful and nice. The room with two beds was large with plenty of space to walk around. Great directions on how to use the TV. The room included a mini-fridge and a microwave. The hot breakfast included scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy. We would stay again here. The only negative was when we arrived at the parking space in front of the room there was snow from a few days ago that had yet to be shoveled. Plus the snow on the roof would melt during the day, drip in front on the parking lot in front of the door, then freeze over at night. In the morning, it was super slippery. Not sure if there were gutters at the roof line that could have redirected this water elsewhere.

    4
    « Best Western »

The room was pretty clean, the breakfast was excellent as was the service of the staff. They need a doggy poop bag area as the guests do not pick up after their dogs making it hard to walk around. The beds need to be replaced, I felt like I was sleeping on a board.

great stay. clean large rooms. comfortable beds. tv was ok. small screen. decoration of the rooms was very nice. looked almost newly redone. a little hard to get in and out of this hotel. it is at a split off of the highways and don't suggest trying to make a left turn out of the property. but the staff told us how to take the back way out to a light where we could make a left hand turn.

    4
    « Beds »

The beds need to be upgraded, they were a little too soft and you tend to roll to the edge. Otherwise all was very good. Excellent breakfast was included but should be served a little longer. The staff was excellent and we will certainly be using this establishment again in the future.

    5
    « Very Nice »

The hotel was excellent; the staff friendly and attentive. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. It has every thing you need and the television and internet services are great. It is a pet friendly hotel with a large area to walk your four legged friend. Be warned of the restaurant however. While the staff is friendly, the food is inedible.

    « Quality for value »

Staff were all very friendly especially those preparing the breakfast and at the counter when we checked in. The hot breakfast was well laid out, but a little crowded our first morning. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The location is a little difficult getting in and out of when there's very much traffic, however traffic was generally fairly light. The area was nice with plenty of restaurants nearby.

« Great Motel to Stay In »

This is another great Best Western to spend your nights in while vacationing. Good staff. The only thing that I did not like compared to the one in Winslow, is access to room is from the exterior. An inside access from lobby to rooms is by far better than returning to wet or snowy weather. The rooms are well appointed and large. This one had a fridge and microwave in the room which was good for us. Room was very clean. Everything was relatively new, especially the outer bedding. It was comfortable and a good place to relax. Free breakfast was typical of most and we enjoyed it prior to checking out. It is close to Historic Downtown Prescott where there are a multitude of good restaurants and wonderful; shops.

« Business retreat and training »

This was my second visit to this hotel, my first was several years earlier with my family. My good impression did not wane after this most recent visit in October 2015. My trip was part of a two-day training session at a nearby golf course. Although the Prescottonian is rather unpretentious in its exterior, the rooms are spacious and well-appointed with iron, ironing board, coffee/tea maker, mini fridge and nice space placing luggage and hanging up clothing. Comfortable beds, clean bathrooms and flat screen TVs are all nice perks. The room also came with free breakfast - and not just cold cereal and pastries - but a buffet with waffles, a variety of breads for toasting, biscuits, gravy and scrambled eggs. The WiFi also was included with the room, but my roommate and I found it a bit frustrating. My telephone network had a better connection that the WiFi, but once my laptop had an established connection it performed well. Overall, I plan to stay here on my next visit to the area.

« Best rate during Volleyball Tournament! »

Hotel price gouging forced us to stay here and pay too much for a budget hotel! We were pleasantly surprised by the great and helpful staff, cleanliness, and wonderful breakfast! Beds are a bit too stiff for my liking but acceptable for the price. We wanted to stay with the team at the Hampton but they raised their rate to $215 a night! Was happy to pay only $95!

    5
    « Never a disappointment »

My only complaint, is I'm 6'1" and normally the beds seem to be made up for shorter people....but otherwise, ALWAYS appreciate how they go out of their way to accommodate, rooms are always clean and as expected. I ALWAYS appreciate my stay with this Best Western.

    5
« Large room with very comfortable beds! »

This hotel is located on a busy road in Prescott but we experienced zero problems with road noise as well as zero noise from hotel maids and other guests. This was partially due to the temperature unit in the room which was very good white noise and also because the rooms are far enough away from the road. The room was large and the beds were extremely comfortable. It was also very reasonably priced and included a decent breakfast buffet. We would definitely stay here again.

    5
« Perfect place for business or travel. »

This is not a fancy hotel but is an excellent value. The rooms have every thing you need and the complimentary breakfast is exceptional. (not the crowded area where everyone is pushing to toast their white bread)) but more like a restaurant buffet. We travel with our dog and appreciate the spacious property and large walking areas. If you like Mexican food and don't feel like driving the on property restaurant is very good. This is a place where the management shows pride every inch of the way. For the money you will not do better for business or family trips.

    4
    « Great service! »

We had a pet friendly room at this hotel. The check-in clerk, Alan was extremely courteous and helpful, calling our room after we'd checked in to be sure everything was to our liking. Room was clean, breakfast was just excellent! Good area to walk the dog. Would definitely go here again.

« Great place, good prices »

I was very comfortable during my stay at Best Western. This was my first business trip. Even though I am from southern Arizona and I didn't travel real far it was an event for me. I am pleased I chose this motel as it was not far from the business I was going to. The rooms are neat and the bed comfortable. The complimentry breakfast was excellent and the chef wonderful. He greeted guests as they arrived and actually bused the tables. My overall experience was very good.

    « Great Southwest Comfort »

The Prescottonian Motel offered spacious comfort, all the amenities a patron would want, a very clean facility and a quality associated Mexican cuisine restaurant that a traveling or visiting customer would clearly seek in a motel/ hotel. The maintenance staff did an excellent job at maintaining our room and the front desk staff were very friendly and informative.

« Excellent Accommodations and Breakfast! »

This was a very nice motel and the people were great. However, the breakfast was phenomenal! The lobby had access to a computer which allowed me to print documents and to browse through the Internet. This worked flawlessly.

    5
    « Very nice! »

My husband and I spent 3 nights at this hotel. The rooms were very roomy. We had to work out of the room, so space was important to us. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about the area - restaurants, museums, pubs, shopping -and took the time to mark maps for us. The complimentary breakfast was really great. The kitchen staff was attentive to keeping trays full and in clearing tables. The rooms were very clean, beds were comfortable and it was quiet. The only downside was the location. If you wanted to make a left out of the hotel you couldn't. You had to drive around back of the hotel, exit through a broken up old parking lot and down an alley to get out. Overall, though, it was a nice place for a decent price.

    4
    « Great Value »

Stayed at the Prescottonian for one night. We stayed in a King room with a balcony. Not sure if it was an upgrade or not. Unfortunately the balcony faced the parking lot so we really didn't use it. The room was clean, quiet and large and the front office staff were very efficient and pleasant. Would stay again.

    « Best Western Prescottonian »

Good room for the money but does not have a fitness room and the pool/spa was shut down (imagine due to the season) beginning 13 Oct. Also getting in/out of the hotel is difficult, Google Maps says go down to the next light and make a U-turn.

The entrance into the Hotel coming from route 69, you have to go over 2 lanes in a hurry to get to the left turn lane. It's a tough process and a couple times we had to continue on route 89 and turn around. Not the best location.

    « Fantastic staff »

We were looking for a nice hotel with a balcony to revover from a severe caraccident. We found it in Prescott! The staff was great. Helped us bij booking 2 addditional nights, with the luggage and parking the car. Gave us tips where to go and everytime we met they were interested in our being. Thats what we needed after having so much misery and we felt at home. We will never forget this hotel experience. Lovely city Prescott and nearby fantastic Sedona. Thank you all! The room with balcony was nice. Bathroom a bit small, but we did not care. Everything worked. Plenty of towels. Nice pool! A lot of patio's where people could have a smoke or a drink. Great place!

Very well maintained older property. The staff was very personable and friendly. We will probably be visiting Prescott again in the next year and will stay here. The restaurant/bar combination was very handy and the room was quiet.

    « Parking lot »

Parking lot is small. The hotel faces a large road, so you might experience a little difficulty to enter the hotel. I also stayed in Sedona. However, hotels there are expensive. So instead of stayting in Sedona staying in Prescotte is recommended.

    « Clean & Acceptable in Prescott »

There were several events going on during the weekend of our stay and reservations were at somewhat of a premium at all properties, including this one. So pricing was about 50% higher than one would expect to pay ordinarily for this type of motel in a tourist town like Prescott. On the plus side the room was big with more than enough space for the 2 luggage racks we used, which is a rare to find these days. If one had children, there was space enough for several cots if necessary. Parking was adequate and the lot well lighted to find your room as entries are exterior to the buildings. This property could boost it's score by providing better pillows and bath towels as the ones provided are extremely scratchy, like rough sandpaper.

    « Best Western Prescottonian »

I stayed for two nights at the Best Western Prescottonian September 2015. The hotel room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The mexican restaurant on site is excellent and the complimentary breakfast was definitely above average in quality and variety. There was ample parking. I plan to go back the next time I need to visit Prescott. The only down comment is that the room decor now looks very dated (popcorn ceiling)
