Every time I go to Pordenone I stay at this hotel. It is very modern and green. The front desk women are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is fantastic. The rooms are spacious and very clean. WiFi is great. I love staying at this hotel. The train station is a five minute walk away.
Hotel room is a good size. Well appointed furnitures. Simple and clean looking. Comfortable bed. The bathroom is also a good size. This hotel is very conscious of the environment which I like. Breakfast is okay, nothing exciting. The location is close to the city square of Pordenone which has a lot of restaurants and shops. I will stay again in this place.
Stayed at the Best Western from May 18 to May 25....excellent service from the staff - they were very helpful and responded promptly to requests. A special thank you to Davide from Tiezzo, he was always friendly. Great location - a few blocks from the centre of the City and the train station is very close - we used it to go to Venice and then to go to Austria for the next leg of our trip. Grazie a tutti quelli che lavorano al hotel.
Clean, friendly and very helpful staff make this place a must stay, great vibe, beautiful breakfast spread can be added for only 5 euros, close to the main piazza, lots of bars and restaurants close by, train station only a two minute walk, highly recommend staying here
This hotel was not up to Best Western's usual standards. We stayed in winter. The heat was not turned on in the room. We froze for quite awhile. The front desk seemed not to be familiar with the hotel. The wi-if was not working.
We (myself and a colleague from work) stayed at this hotel during business meetings in Aviano. We chose this hotel based on the reviews, price and location plus the possibility to park as we travelled by car. Our rooms have just been refurbished and were pleasant and spacious. Even if overlooking the road, windows were soundproof and one could sleep nicely. Breakfast is generous and offered for a small supplement. Well worth a stay and highly recommended.
Entire staff speaks English. Thier cable TV allows you to has movie channels in English. Bacon, eggs, toast & coffee buffet for $5.75 usd. Walk outside turn left is the train and bus station 100 yards away. Walk outside turn right is everything else from pizzerias for easy food ordering, atm that works with U.S. cards, all kinds of shopping also a 100 yards away. Taxi cabs are always outside. I've now stayed here 3 times. My employees have all stayed here several times. It's the perfect blend of a European hotel and American hotel. It's safe and clean
One week fun/business. Such easy access, one tree-covered block to train/bus station. Excellent basic modern room, safe, fridge, place to hang suite and jackets. Good bathroom, modern shower system with 3 different shower heads; fluffy towels. Lovely breakfast room, plenty of healthy, fresh eggs, fruits, local breads, cakes, cereals, meats and bacon, juices, yogurts, teas and coffees. The barista prepares very tasty coffee, any way you'd like. Here's a photo of the built-in electronics cable connections. Everything worked well in room except that I could not figure out how to use the Sky TV so no tv. Wi-Fi adequate. Front desk staff helpful for tours, drivers. Pre-arrival communication with specific questions very quick and helpful. 9euro per night car park. Hotel is good value because of wifi, breakfast and location. -Truly a prime location but Noisy smallish street, especially early morning deliveries and rollerbags on sidewalk passing by to station. Lots of daytime neighborhood construction.
Clean modern facilities. Helpful and kind staff. good breakfast. Neat downtown activities and shops. Only negative was that the hotel parking lot was 2 blocks away, but that was not a problem since you could unload at front of hotel
This was the best experience I have ever had at a hotel. The service and accommodations were the best, even better than my experiences in US hotels. It's location, within 3 minutes of the train station, made it easier for us to travel to other cities without having to take a cab or bus.
We stay in Pordenone as it is the biggest city outside of parents hometowns of Morsano and Nogaredo di Corno. We are repeat guests of this hotel because we feel so comfortable there. Staff are all friendly and speak both Italian and English. Rooms are modern. Breakfast is good. The guests are sophisticated. Wouldn't stay anywhere else.
The staff here really makes an extra effort to help you and make your stay as good as possible. I stayed at the hotel one night, and forgot a small item in my room. I returned two weeks later, and then someone had kept it and put it in plastic bag in my new room. (I had not called or asked about it) That is great customer service! Also in all other respects I found the staff very helpful, the room was nice, modern and clean!
We came here because my husband had business in nearby Porcia. It far exceeded my expectations ( which are fairly high)! The staff is very friendly and go out of their way to help you. The breakfast is absolutely delicious and even though we were there for a week we never tired of it! In fact, I could have eaten it another week :-) the food is all organic and locally-sourced and I have gluten sensitivity and was able to eat just fine. The coffee made fresh at the bar per your order is delicious, some of the best we had in Italy. I was on my own during the day and found it so easy to travel to Venice and other nearby towns via train which is only a five-minute walk from the hotel at most. The cleaning staff was also excellent and so polite. I would definitely stay there again, I actually preferred it staying in Venice because it is quiet and you have everything you need in Pordenone, which is a sweet little city in and of itself, a great home base.
I was in Pordenone on business and stayed at the Best Western for one night, I arrived by train therefore it was very handy, a few steps away from the train station. Check in was fast , staff were pleasant and the room was fine, a typical best western for Southern Europe standards. I was impressed with the staff, overall they were very accommodating and willing to assist with any questions that I had, I didn't have breakfast although it was paid for , I chose to go a few steps out of the hotel to a cafeteria to enjoy a cappuccino and a croissant. It was highly recommended by a business colleague which was quiet good. If I'm back in Pordenone, I will stay there again.
Stayed here for four days while on a business trip, the hotel is very modern and the room was very clean. Service was excellent and breakfast was exceptional. The hotel does not do dinner but there are very nice restaurants located nearby. I will definitely stay here again.
We were visiting family in the area for 4 days so wanted a comfy and convenient hotel. We booked 2 rooms, one for me and my elderly, disabled mother and one for my two sons (18 & 12 years). Prior to booking I communicated with the hotel about their disabled friendly room and one nearby for my sons. They responded quickly and were very helpful. From the minute we arrived the staff (special mention for Elissa) were amazing. We had pre-booked a car park space but when she found out my mother had a blue badge and could park outside for free they immediately refunded the car park payment and advised on parking. The rooms were very clean and modern, enough space for our needs and with comfy beds. Our room had an accessible shower with a folding chair and handles around the toilet. My only recommendation to them would be for some grab handles in the shower for my mother . (But it was a great shower!) Breakfast was a Self Service buffet with a wide selection of hot and cold food - everything from coco-pops to bacon - to ham and cheese with delicious fresh bread. There is waitress service for great fresh Italian coffees Even when we were a bit late they didn't rush us. Every member of staff we encountered from the room cleaner to night staff was friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for walking into the town (and near the station). They do not offer lunch or dinner but recommended excellent places nearby. We would happily return to this hotel.
This hotel is cheap and cheerful, so a great place to stay. It is very clean while the staff is extremely pleasant. We're sure to frequent this hotel often since it represents what we are looking for in a place to stay.
Our family stayed here for 3 nights. The staff was consistently helpful, friendly & accommodating. Morning breakfast was nice although they did have some challenges keeping up with the demand. Our room was small but modern & nicely appointed. Cost was very reasonable & each night we stayed the rate was reduced by a certain percentage. Pordenone is a lovely place to visit & is just an hour train ride north of Venice
We stopped by this facility few times, they have private parking near by with video cameras, is located just a short walk from the centre, quiet, they offer a good breakfast with natural and home made bakery, nice helpful staff.
From the staff to breakfast to rooms this is an outstanding hotel that I will stay at again, the staff was extremely pleasant and helpful, the breakfast was wonderful everyday and even if it's not included in your room it is only 5 euro. The rooms were immaculate and were serviced daily unless you were in the room and chose not to have it done. Nothing but good experiances!!!
If in Pordenone, you should stay at this hotel for many reasons: the location - 200 meters from the very center the rooms - large, comfortable, very neat the cleanliness - even the stairs connecting the floors were clean the breakfast - very reach, well assorted. The lady at the bar even asked us if we wanted another cup of coffee the staff - warm, available, courteous, professional the parking - uncovered but at hand Will definitely stay again!
I stay over and over in this hotel...because the people that works there make it perfect. Everyone is different but everyone knows how to deal with customers, everyone is kind and helpful, everyone is just outstanding. I got sick for most of the week that I stay there and they called the doctor.. they were helping me to stay comfortable during my stay and they were amazing. That is the reason number one I prefer this hotel... secondly the rooms are clean, the hotel is impeccable clean everywhere... the breakfast is great, the location amazing... it is just great hotel. The only BAD thing is that for some very weird reason Italy turn off the AC units in October... but I think they should work with AC as climate control more than just cool air... because rooms are very hot.. I kept my window open a bit to refresh the air.
Everyone in the staff was very kind and courteous. You feel they want you yo enjoy your stay. The room was good but they were doing remodelling of the building across the street so my sleep was average. Overall good and I would go back.
stayed 2 nights while visiting my son the rooms are clean and fine for a fairly cheep hotel car parking was extra 9 euro and the car park was not too far from the hotel breakfast was ok but fairly limited would stay again
The hotel is very modern, the rooms are clean with comfortable beds and immaculate bathrooms. Breakfast was very nice with a lot of healthy choices and excellent coffee to order. Parking is a block and a half away, but still convenient and secure. The staff is very nice and helpful. Lovely hotel close to restaurants and shops.
Staying only one night, but this is the place to stay if you have a dog. Booking was simple, but you have to phone them as they will not take online bookings with dogs included. The hotel is easy to find and is close to downtown Pordenone and the bus stations. Checking in is easy and staff were friendly. We had an executive suite and the amenities were very good. Once we got to the room, the hotel had provided bowls and a bed for our dog, they even supplies a destress spray for dogs that calms them down. In the cost of the suite was also included breakfast and the mini bar in the room.malso free drinks at the bar down stairs. This is definitely a friend,y hotel. Beware though that their car park is a few blocks away from the hotel. It is lit and has CCTV so hopefully it is secure enough.
Great Staff and excellent room. We arrived earlier than the basic check-in time, but we were provided a room. The staff provided excellent suggestions for walking tours and things to see for my wife during the day while I was working.
Brilliant Hotel. Rooms very clean, eco friendly, my room was also very quiet. Reception was very helpful, excellent English Spoken. Breakfast was served in a very relaxed manner, with plenty of choice, and Coffee served to order. Transport was arranged to and from Venice Airport, during our journey we were given information about the area, which is where the Prosecco grape is grown. The Hotel is an easy walk to all the local restaurants and shops, and right by the train station. (Just over an hour to Venice) I can highly recommend this Hotel.
We visited best wester for work and stayed there for over a week. Very friendly staff, great hospitality. Being from India and vegetarians, the staff was kind to prepare a vegetarian dish every morning for us. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend. See you soon next time guys. Till then Ciao!
Superb location in Pordenone - why would you stay anywhere else?? Very clean and tidy with excellent service from check in to check out. Breakfast had something for everyone and is plentiful. Will certainly stay again when in the area, whether on business or pleasure.
If you are traveling to Pordenone this is an excellent hotel to utilize. The rooms, staff, and breakfast are all excellent. You will have to pay for parking but it is not out of the norm for the location, which is conveniently in the heart of the town.
staff if friendly and helped us in many ways (printing the boarding cards, discounts to some restaurants...). the rooms are maybe a bit small but clean, warm and comfortable. not noisy at all. Breakfast ok, not extremely excellent but more than enough to be very good. location is perfect, between train station and town center. the parkplace is very near and quite safe. Wifi working perfectly. I RECOMMEND IT.
We arrived in Pordenone by train and walked to the hotel, just a couple of blocks. I also walked to Hertz to pick up a rental car, about a 15 minute walk. The parking at the hotel is a couple of blocks away but easy to get to and in and out of. Everything is clean and in good condition.
Hotel is located about 100 yards from the train station(straight out the front door, cross the street and follow along the side of the park). It is also located 50 yards from the Main Street leading into the old area of town as well as stores and restaurants. So location is exceptional. Staff at the front desk are exceptionally helpful and friendly. The rooms are modern, clean and spacious. Linens are crisp & clean. We used hotel as a base for day trips to other small towns so parking for car was handy (9€ per day).
I do not know how this hotel can be classed as 4 star, even 3 would be stretching it. The staff are all very pleasant, the hotel is clean but very, very basic. No restaurant for evening meals, but the breakfast is varied and very good. Low quality bed linens and towels, sparsely furnished and in need of a refurb. The bathroom again very basic, with a very old and tatty shower cubicle. The images on the website must be the top end rooms as the showers shown are nothing like those on floors 2/3 The weather was in the mid 20's but the air con was not working, when I inquired it was deemed not hot enough to have it running. Which I find unacceptable. So at night I had to leave the window open which meant very disrupted sleep due to the bar opposite and early morning deliveries to the shops around. Recommend a room at the back of the hotel for a quiet night.
In central Pordenone close to everything. Friendly and personal staff, good breakfast and bar. Clean and good rooms. I have stayed there several times and they remember me and give me the best service. Internet works fine and normally it is quite in the night.
My first stay at this hotel and must say I was very impressed. The good parts: very central location (all of Pordenone feels central), efficient and friendly check in and check out, very clean and modern rooms, a great bed (fairly firm) and ok breakfast area. The bad parts include difficult to drive to the hotel, parking 2 blocks from hotel, only one elevator and I had a very warm room which you could not easily adjust yourself (controls disabled). But all in all worth a visit
My fiance went here three years ago during his first time in Pordenone. The hotel location is perfect near in train station and close ti the center. The information desk are polite. The hotel is clean and i can recommend this...
The hotel is located near the train station and only a couple of minutes walk to the old town area. The staff are great and rooms very comfortable, excellent breakfast selections and never an issue to make me a coffee to take away.
I had such a lovely time there! Nice room, friendly staff, wonderful breakfast! I want to mention and thanks again Sara, every morning she made for me such wonderful cappuccino which such lovely draw on it, a real artist! The only person that i didn't like was Marica in the reception, she was not so friendly as her reception colleagues, i've asked to avoid to keep refer to myself using formalities which really make uneasy and she ignoring thst saying stuff like "you must understand we have precise instructions". No dear, i've used to work in hospitality and the goal is to make the guest as much as comfortable as possible and if it means break a rule(of course within some limits) you must do it. I'm sure that also your General manager would agree with it, especially because for this reason i will not give the maximum score. But I'm really looking forward to the next time, if this thing will be corrected surely 5 out of 5 is granted ??
The hotel is usually not fully booked as Pordenone is a small but clean town. Most of the visitors are business travelers like I was. The location of the hotel is good and close to the Metro if you wish to catch a trip to Venice. The room was pleasant and all amenities available. The breakfast was limited but adequate for business visitors.
The hotel is great. The only reason why I don't rate it excellent is because I didn't like the pastries at the breakfast. They were all over-baked. I also didn't like the fact that the tv had no sleep timer. Otherwise, very comfortable, great staff and fast wifi! Location is great too.
Stayed on the fifth floor July 23 to August 1, 2015. Great hotel across the street from the train station and walking distance to the centre. I stayed here with my 74 year old father, as this is his birth town that he hasn't visited in 64 years! A beautiful clean town with a great atmosphere. The hotel staff was very friendly and the hotel was clean, spacious and quite. Spacious room with modern conveniences, great breakfast and location. Room on 5th floor and it gave some great views of the main street (no noise issue, but we had the windows closed at night with AC on). Walking distance to the local shopping, restaurants and park. Great stay and planning our return in 2016!
Returned as I do every year...and the hotel keep the same high level of service!!! It was another great experience at this hotel... I can't wait to return next year. The breakfast was always good, maybe not much selection of meat this year... but still very good. The New Eco-Rooms on the 2nd floor are great and spacious...perfect and I can open the window to cool a bit the heated room...
Stayed there nearly 6 weeks in Aug/Sept 2015. Single suite spacious, bathroom definitely 1 person at a time, ample storage space for 2 and has a bar fridge and safe - nice modern decor. Well located, 100 meters from the train station, a 2 minute walk to the downtown squares (Cavour and XX Settembre) near shopping, bars and restaurants (lots of banks nearby for ATM). From Piazza Cavour, go East on Corso Vittorio Emanuele II (VE II) for the "old town" (their Duomo and beyond that the river and jogging/biking trails), shopping and the locally famous Peratoner pastry shop (yum, yum). Go West on VE II for about 3 or 4 minutes and you will find the PAM Supermercato (yellow awning) where you can buy food etc. and find more shopping, bars and pastry shops along the street. Service staff (got to know them all) such as Martina, Marica, Sarah, Solina, Michelle, Elena, Franca, Giorgio etc., too many to name them all, are amazingly wonderful people to deal with, hard working, courteous, funny, loving and the list goes on. They are the strength of this hotel. Breakfasts are great and in the evening you can relax in the breakfast area with one of the staff for some drinks or light snacks. Sarah and Michelle often bake/cook special breakfast foods such as strudel, frittata (in the egg and bacon chafing dish, rectangular in shape...yum, yum), special puddings etc. They are renovating the suites, one by one, so ask for a renovated suite with card entry (very nice, more like a Best Western Plus or better). Other suites, still nice, use a key. Also, WiFi is great in the hotel. I would 5 star this hotel if I could, but to be consistent with hotels such as Hilton and the like, I gave it my highest rating for a Best Western Hotel - I am a Diamond Plus member, so that says a lot of how highly I think of this Best Western Hotel.
Position: Excellent, walking range from old downtown Parking: Good, few places around (billable in day hours), they have a convention with a closeby local parking, for a daily 9 euro fee. Reception: Excellent, professional, warm and friendly Comfort: Excellent, silent and comfortable room, wooden floor Cleanliness: Excellent Internet: Bad, did not work, they said were under service, so will give another chance Television: Good, I was able to find only few channels (Sky), could not get working regular Tv channels Pillow choice: Yes, 2 choices In-room boiler: Yes Elevators/Stairs: Excellent Breakfast quantity: Very Good Breakfast quality: Very good, almost excellent, croissants can be improved, some Bio choices available Checkout speed: Excellent Hotel Restaurant/Bar: Not used, no restaurant (plenty around) Fitness/Spa/Pool: Not available
The staff were wonderful, breakfast was excellent, but as I did not get any sleep what-so-ever due to a large group of drunks screaming outside most of the night, honking horns, etc. I could not with a clear conscience recommend this hotel to anyone. I can not believe that the police were not called there must be some sort of noise or public intoxication ordinance to prevent this from occurring.
This hotel is promoting green (sustainable) room. I was impressed with the selective waste bin (in the room) and the printed recycled papers, but other than that I could not find other distinctive aspects (from the other hotels). However, it is a good hotel, they prepared a 10 pm snack for us (we arrived late at the hotel) and delivered it to our room.
I stayed in this hotel and it is very nice hotel situated in the heart of the city and easily accessible from Railways and Bus Station. The Rooms are good and staff of hotel is very professional as well as friendly. it is Perfect place to stay in Pordenone.
