It's close to Avoca Airport. Short drive to Walmart and it's between Wilkes-Barre and Scranton, PA. Hotel is clean, all amenities are clean, comfortable beds and soft pillows.

Bats in your room! Emergency room visit for rabies shots.! Very questionable linens and Kicked out then put on a no stay list for the area. Manager lacked in professional help or guidance. Totally discussed with this establishment.
We were again surprised at the quality of this hotel. Easy access, both on and off the highway. Huge parking lot, and two elevators. The staff were both friendly and helpful. We departed before breakfast was available, so we are unable to comment. However, “To Go” breakfast bags were provided. The shower, linens and beds were satisfactory. The room had a desk for me and a chair for my wife.
I needed a room overnight for an early morning flight out of AVO. Hotel is right next to the small airport - I saw my plane sitting there. Shuttle driver was ready to roll at 4:15 AM. Room was a good size, clean and the bathroom was updated - fridge in room. Washer & dryer on my floor. Free hot beverage bar 24/7 in lobby. Free breakfast with protein - and a gym that I did not use. Zero complaints.

I have 2 young kids so I wanted a place that had a full sized fridge/freezer, space for 2 pack ‘n plays, breakfast included, and was close to Scranton, and this hotel checked all of those boxes and then some. Staff were super friendly and even though it's close to the airport I never once heard a plane. I could hear cars from the highway from my room, but it wasn't loud enough to impact my sleep. The blackout curtains are also a nice touch. The place is pristinely clean and there's plenty of on-site free parking. Great place that I highly recommend!

Overall, the hotel was clean, pleasant, and well kept. The staff (especially the woman who checked us in at the front desk) were all very pleasant. The breakfast was good enough to get us started. I have seen better variety in some places, but it was sufficient for us. We used it as a road stop as part of a longer trip and would definitely consider going there again.

Lovely clean best western. Staff treated us with a friendly smile. Easy check in. Room was very clean and comfortable. Good location close to highway and airport but you need to drive for dinner. I can certainly recommend this Best Western. Our little service dog was treated like a king.
Nicest staff of any hotel I have ever stayed at! I was amazed at the caring nature of the front desk staff with their abilities to help me with any request that I had. I felt like I never had any concerns that the front desk could not handle. Well done!

Very clean and modern Best Western. Easy access to I81. Comfortable bed!!! It is very easy to access this hotel when we travel as we leave from NH to go to Western PA and we need a stop along the way. This is convenient, clean and modern. The staff is helpful and friendly.
