This hotel is well maintained and clean. The staff is friendly and attentive. Pinedale is located about 90 miles south of Jackson Hole. You can not find an affordable hotel that is closer to Jackson Hole. The breakfast at this hotel is generic free breakfast. There is a restaurant across the street.
Very nice friendly staff, the breakfast was great! Made to order omelets!! Would stay here again! The local brewery was awesome! The hot tub was a great finish to long day driving- room was quiet and clean! Would recommend this hotel to everyone
The room was quiet and comfortable - just what we needed for an overnight stay during our road trip. The breakfast was what you would expect for hotels that offer a hot breakfast. This allowed us to get up and go early to reach our final destination with time to explore a little before checking in.
A great place to stay. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Their breakfast was awesome. they had made to order omelets.
Accomodations are outstanding. The pool and hot tub was perfect after working all day and the breakfast was even better with an omelet station that the chef prepared to order. Wide variety of options like fresh fruit and baked muffins, real bacon and sausage unlike what you would find at other hotels. Staff is very professional and attentive to the whole property and guests.
Definitely enjoyed our stay! The pool and hot tub were clean and well kept, even had toys for the kids and plenty of extra towels! The rooms were comfortable and very clean! The staff were welcoming and friendly, also very helpful and knowledgeable about local goings on. Very sweet people with awesome personalities and just a general joy to conversate with. The breakfast was AMAZING! Fresh cooked omelets to order by an actual chef plus all sorts of tasty fresh cooked items as well. Overall one of the best stays I've ever had.
It is rated as two stars but doesn't deserve even one star. Rude hill-billy staff. No elevator. Breakfast was poor quality. Hygiene is lacking in rooms which were dirty. Stale cigarette smoke lingers throughout. I can't think of anything positive. Regret having made the booking.
The owner who is easily recognizable by his smell and lack of cleanliness wants to fight everyone he comes into contact with. It's a pretty sad sight I really wish he would just calm down a little bit and clean the bathroom toilets as they need some desperate attention
I swear, there was some sort of right wing white power convention going on. The water wouldn't get hot and the owners kept talking about hunting and killing animals in every conversation about what little there is to do in this desolate locale.
The associates violated the American with Disabilities Act. I requested a room down stairs and they refused due to my disabilities. They also violated the law in many ways. The associates lied to me and to my family; especially in front of my children. They charged me a 46 dollar pet fee. When I asked them about how high it was, they said they lowered it to 30 dollars a night. However, they lied and and only lowered it to 39 dollars a night. Come to find out that they don't charge a pet fee as I discussed this with another hotel clerk the next day. They asked if we wanted a roll away bed and stated it would be free of charge. Come to find out they lied on that and charged us 15 dollars for that. The toilet in our room broke down and had issues. We took off the lid of the toilet and found out that they had rigged the chain with a safety pin. They chose not to fix the problem, but forced us into another room. My wife had a business meeting at the moment online and it interrupted her. It also caused me to be late for work. The pool is freezing cold and the hot tub is luke warm. They lower the temperature when there aren't that many people at the site so as to save money. There were multiple complaints from other travelers who mentioned that this happens often with this site. They promised me that I could speak with the manager about the problem. However, the manager refused to speak with me and made my family wait in the cold and snow. The manager messed up my receipt as this was a business trip and the receipt needed to be the original that I paid for. The manager did not take responsibility nor was accountable for her actions or the actions of her employees. There was not any apology or communication. I will be contacting my attorney and I will be contacting the Best Western corporate offices. All employees involved need to be terminated as this is very serious and this location is not taking it serious.
Although the hotel is a little dated, the rooms are clean and the staff are friendly and treat guests like family. They have a former chef preparing breakfast now with omelets made fresh and customized to your preference. I'd recommend this hotel for the breakfast alone!
Best Hotel in Pinedale. Hands down!!!! Everything was great and the front desk staff was very courteous, helpful and pleasant. Would recommend this Hotel to everyone that would ask me for advise. Great.
Very clean and immaculate motel with indoor pool and very helpful and accomodating staff. This place allow pets which is nice so you can travel with Fido. You will however have to ask to have your room to be been cleaned everyday.
The rooms were roomy and comfortable and the staff was very helpful. The hotel is located near the edge of Pinedale; but the town is not very large, so it is close to a number of places to eat or drink. I would recommend this hotel for a good place to stay in Pinedale, WY.
Really enjoyed the stay! Easy access! Quiet and nice rooms! Comfortable beds and clean rooms! Pool and hot tub area was excellent and really enjoyed by all the family! Breakfast was excellent with variety and plenty of it! Hats off to the the chef! Caught a lot of conversation l, at breakfast, from some taking a break from walking the continental divide trail! Nothing to be negative about! Will definitely stay here again!
This is a locally owned hotel and the people running it were just great. They were very accommodating and really helped us in every way they could. With such lovely hosts, the hotel has a very welcoming atmosphere and is quite nice. It is simple and easy and ready to welcome its guests.
While the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The shower pressure was good. However, the breakfast was horribly disappointing. There were out of almost everything. No milk, no waffles, and no regular bagels. It took almost fifteen minutes to get bacon and French toast. The egg were horrible for being hotel eggs. The workers acted as if my family and other family were bothering them by asking when the food would be ready. It seemed like we were inconveniencing them by doing their job. While this trip had good aspects, the morning's breakfast finalized that we will never be coming back here.
We stopped at the Best Western Pinedale Inn on our way from Yellowstone to Colorado. The location and town were great. From the start we had issues. There is now elevator and we were placed on the second floor. I had to assist my parents hauling lots of luggage up the stairs. The elevation is 7100 feet so that was brutal after a long day on the road. The hallways and room smelled musty and like at some point they had been smoked in. Also the door to the building didn't latch properly which was a safety concern. The bed and room itself were clean if dated. The breakfast wasn't bad overall. Thankfully we were only there for a night.
We had a nice room. Great breakfast. Plenty of good food and choices. Staff was very nice and helpful. Very clean. Hot tub and pool well maintained. Great location. Easy to find. Very dog friendly. Nice place set up for dog area.
Great location. Close to restaurants, scenic drives, stores. Very clean and well-maintained. Pool was perfect for the kids. Room was very spacious. Plenty of room for three adults and two young children. On-site guest laundry was also clean and right next to the pool. Did our laundry while the kids were swimming.
It was a quiet June evening and the stay was very nice. The hotel was quiet and the staff were attentive and friendly. The breakfast was above board and a full breakfast with a few different choices. The rooms were completely clean. I will say I am not a fan of small trashcans and almost every BW I have stayed at lately has them, this hotel included. My only complain. The town of Pinedale is very quaint if you are a big city person. But the town has several restaurants, a couple museums and the town is definitely a locals town. The hotel is placed right in the heart of the town. If you are headed south/north from/to Yellowstone, I definitely recommend the BW Pinedale as a much more affordable option to Jackson and is only about 45 minutes to an hour from Jackson and Teton NP. Well done BW Pinedale. I will definitely return if and when I am in the area.
Needed a last minute hotel because we couldn't keep driving due to bad weather. So glad we booked this one. The pool, breakfast buffet, huge room, and proximity to restaurants was ideal. And booking online was also a breeze.
This hotel is extremely clean! The staff was friendly & offered great recommendations. Pool & hot tub were wonderful! Room was comfortable & setup great for extended families! I booked this room on others opinions online I figured I'd add our opinion too!!
We had a great stay for our kids hockey games. The staff was all friendly and willing to help in anyway. Our kids loved the pool and the gift shop. The rooms were bigger than I had expected which was great for all of our kiddos. The beds were comfy.
This is one of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed at, with the friendliest and most efficient staff. It was quiet, smelled nice and had super comfy beds. The price was what I would expect to pay at a hotel like this, but my expectations were exceeded!
An otherwise outstanding stay was marred by annoyance maintenance items that will need corporate attention to resolve, such as a slight lingering musky odor in the aftermath of carpet wet-cleaning, missing black-out curtain rod and a slow-leaking toilet flapper valve. Empowering daily room service to be responsible these customer-facing items (and rewarding them accordingly) would be a way to earn that last rating bubble from me.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was larger than most - even had a nice couch and coffee table. Fridge was the larger size, not the tiny one. Bed was very comfortable. Extremely clean and well maintained. Breakfast was great. No complaints at all.
Clean, caring, wonderful. Everyone was great, they answered questions, even recommended dinner. Rooms are so clean and delightful. The hot tub was perfect. Plus they have an adorable gift shop for little trinkets and treats.
It is with regret that I find myself writing this review on the Best Western Hotel, Pinedale, Wyoming. Let's first start by stating that I have been in the hospitality industry for 30 years as a Director of Sales for various hotels, Marriott, IHG, Choice, Hilton. Needless to say, that in my profession, I have seen from the best to the worst run hotels. I know how hard it is to satisfy a customer especially in this day and age. But basically,, all a guest wants is a clean, safe, quiet room. Not a hard task with a good maintenance and housekeeping team. I begin by stating that the hotel's website states an indoor pool and hot tub. Nowhere on the website nor with the booking agent was I informed of both amenities being under maintenance repair! If this had been stated, another hotel would have been chosen. Upon entering the room. new door locks had been installed, this was apparent by the sawdust on the carpets left by maintenance workers. Unfortunately, attention to detail was not on the maintenance mind nor any idea to clean up their mess. The room is definitely in need of updating especially the bathrooms. The best surprise for me was when I was leaving, I checked the drawers in the dresser, much to my surprise and disdain did I find 2 full unopened boxes of instant oatmeal left by a previous guest. This observation indicates that the rooms are not being thoroughly cleaned by a housekeeper and then counter checked by the inspectress. I wrote a review on my stay on the hotel's website only to get a standard written review from the hotel. It is standard because the chain and booking links provide letters that the hotel can respond to a guest review. So to speak, pick one from column A, obviously, no time spent in responding to my review. An interesting point was that I was given 1,000 points for my stay. From being in the hotel industry, believe me, I have bought my share of points for a guest from the hotel chain. Yes, hotels must by the points they give to a guest from the chain. Unfortunately, 1,000 points cost the hotel $6.00--$10.00 definitely not enough to cover a very bad $120.00 night's stay. The Covid Pandemic has hit the hospitality industry very hard. If workers are at a premium, then your salaried people need to step up and take on more responsibility, i.e. rechecking rooms after housekeeping has cleaned the room, providing maintenance small portable vacuums to clean up after a task has been completed would be suggested.. If you are looking at this review, thank you for taking the time to read through it. Buyer Beware!!!!!
We had been outside all day in below zero weather and were COLD.We had been looking forward to the hot tub advertised.Booked the room and we're not told it was being renovated both on the web and in person when booking room the day before. We book hotels for the hot tubs especially in the winter time because we are skiers averaging 80-90 days a year. Very disappointed!!!
We drove to Pinedale after trying to find a hotel room in Jackson, WY (crowded, expensive & booked). The Best Western hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The cost was not equal to the room but considering how busy & expensive the area it was within reason.
Thank you Tiffany and the housekeeping crew for finding my wife's classes and for mailing them to us! We enjoyed staying at this BW. Clean, quiet and comfortable rooms. Perfect location. Pleasant stay.
I have not had better service in a 5 star hotel than I had here. While the accommodations were nothing special, it was clean, comfortable and appropriate for this type of hotel. The entire staff while causal Was professional and capable and had a friendly can do attitude and made for a very comfortable stay. A special should put to front desk staff Aspen and Sam who wore many hats and never lost their positive attitude
We couldn't afford to stay in Jackson, WY so we looked for a reasonable place within driving distance. We found Best Western in Pinedale. Our girls spent two hours in the swimming pool and our room was comfortable and quiet. The the front desk person was very helpful in finding a place to eat. We would definitely stay there again.
Room had bugs in pull away bed. AC didn't work well at all. No elevator so if you're traveling with anyone older or with disabilities it is something to consider. Front desk was helpful on local places to eat.
This hotel is clean and well maintained. The employees seem genuinely happy to answer questions or just chat with guests. The location is close to the things the town has to offer, it far enough away to allow for a quiet experience.
We had a very positive experience in Pinedale and at the Best Western. The man who checked us in was extremely knowledgeable about the area. He told of us a couple of nearby hikes/walks and of restaurants. Except for the lack of grab bars in the tub, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it for anyone.
The hotel was very nice. The room was clean and the staff friendly. They went above and beyond to ship us an item we left behind. Greatly appreciated and I highly recommend staying with them. This the perfect stopover point on the way to Grand Teton. Large selection of restaurants within walking distance.
A quaint, comfortable hotel. Definitely outdated but clean. (No elevator, etc.) The hot tub was broken, and the pool very cold. You can sometimes hear your neighbors talking. Littlest TV ever! Lol Good price for the stay. Standard hot breakfast. Good air conditioning. Friendly staff.
This place is great! The room was nice and clean. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The overall appearance of the motel is clean and well-lit. You can't find much better for such a rural area. The hot breakfast options were a bonus. I would recommend anyone to stay here.
We booked this to stay in after a day of skiing. The price was reasonable and we booked two rooms. Check in was a little slow due to computer issues but service was great. Pet friendly, Pool is very warm and room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was fine. Overall experience was good and we will stay there again the next time we visit Pinedale.
We stopped on a 16 hr trip for the night with our golden retriever puppy and we had FREE pet accommodation (and greeted with a dog treat upon arrival) The room was dark for getting good sleep and beds were comfortable. The shower pressure and soaps were even great! In the morning they had grab and go breakfast which was great. The staff were very friendly from the girl that booked us over the phone to the final goodbye. Highly recommend for a clean, great nights sleep on your road trip pit stop!
One night last minute stay. After a terrible dirty stay in Island Park we just marveled at everything this hotel offered. Clean clean clean. Extra friendly check in staff. A real breakfast hot and cold offerings and all tailored to COVID protection. Large beautiful room. Clean bedding and pillows. First place in 3 week travels that we did not pull out our own pillows and cleaning supplies. So happy! We booked 5 more nights at BW Plus elsewhere hoping we will have as good an experience.
We had a nice room. It was in the very way back, able park next to it. The room was big and clean. Comfortable too! My daughter and I enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub, it was fabulous! BEST OF ALL - they served a hot breakfast instead of brown bag special! They had enough space to spread the tables out. A employee cooked and served whatever you wanted. I was able to enjoy talking with fellow vacation families and share stories. The staff jumped in on the conversation and shared their stories too! (ANIMAL/MOOSE sightings mainly! LOL) Definitely will be back!
We recently stayed here passing through Wyoming on our way home from a road trip. It's rated as a 2 star hotel, and you get what you pay for. Unfortunately, we had to pay a lot more than it was worth as the whole area was close to being sold out. We also had to unfortunately book on Expedia because of the shortage of rooms in town. Expedia advertises the hotel as having 2 queen beds in their rooms. They are not. They are full/double beds-not queens. Not sure if that's the fault of the hotel or Expedia, but something to be aware of. They either do not require masks (despite signage saying otherwise) or just don't care as there were several guests checking in at the same time without them. The woman working at the front desk didn't have hers covering her nose either. Upon checking in, the front desk agent asked for my ID, which I gave him. I presumed to simply check to make sure it was me who was on the reservation. He then proceeded to type all of my personal information into the computer, so I presume I will be getting much unnecessary communications from Best Western in the future. During our checkin, the woman at the front desk then came to the agent that was helping us, and interrupted him by saying that it was time for her to go home. He was forced to respond and tell her that wasn't an option at the moment. Very awkward for us. The other front desk agent was in a t-shirt and what appeared to be a bathing suit checking people in. Not sure what was going on there, but it was unprofessional all around. The hotel is old, and they've done little to update it, but it worked for a night. The walls are paper thin. We could hear the people next to us having a normal volume conversation and could hear every word. The people across the hall apparently felt that it was necessary not to ever use their keys and simply leave the deadbolt on so that every time they came and went (which was frequently at all hours of the night and morning) so that it slammed very loudly. There are other properties in town. Use this as a last resort.
It wasn't just that this stay was disappointing, the cavalier attitude of the staff made the experience an unhappy one. When we checked in, they initially tried to put us in a room that smelled like it had been smoked in. We requested a change, and the next room had several deficiencies. 1) the faucet fixture in the sink was loose and made it difficult to turn the water on 2) the 'hot water' was warm at best. We had to ask twice before this was rectified. 3) the toilet would self flush itself through the night. When we pointed it out, it was not till the next day before it was fixed. All of this was not enough for us to write this review as we were eventually able to get the issues resolved. But, as we checked out, we were told the balance was $0 as we had paid via Expedia a couple of months before our stay. Then, we get home and I look at my credit card bill and they charged me again for 4 nights. I called the hotel to complain and they left me on hold for 1/2 hour. I called back twice and they ignored my calls evidently recognizing the number. The next day, I called up the front desk. The lady looked into the billing and acknowledged I was right- that I had been billed twice. But, she refused to immediately issue a refund saying she was not authorized to and would have to contact the manager. She never did and I called back again. The new lady said she would not help me and that I had to contact the manager directly As pf now, they owe be $460, and there is no indication that I will get I will have to call Best Western Corporate directly to get our money back. I have to admit I am shocked that they charged my credit card for the stay after acknowledging both at check in and check out that the room had already been paid for. That has never happened to me before. Buyer beware!!
The room smelled immaculate when we checked in and it was obvious the staff had done a good job of disinfecting everything. Friendly checkin staff and the room was well appointed. Close enough you can walk around downtown from here. One of the better Best Westerns we've stayed at.
Our family of 6 stopped by on our way home from a 2 week trip to Yellowstone. We had no reservations but got a room to fit our needs and budget. Very clean and large rooms. Great pool and a hot breakfast. We are glad we stopped by.
Stayed at this best western during a recent snowmobile trip to Wyoming. Centrally located next to several good restaurants. Rooms were very clean and free breakfast was decent. I would for sure stay here again when traveling through Pinedale, Wyoming.
Staff was helpful in finding a sink that actually holds water which is needed for contact lens wearers! That said, the rooms are in slight disrepair (no drain plugs, door must be forcibly closed, old fashioned heater that doesn't have an always on fan option). Breakfast was good, and the bonus to go snack bag was a nice treat.
I made the mistake of booking the room on the wrong night! When I got an email asking me to rate my stay I realized my reservation had come and gone. I called the hotel and explained my situation. They immediately booked by a night for the correct night and didn't charge me for my mistake. The rooms were clean and the pool was warm. The staff was very hospitable and the breakfast was perfect for my family, with lots of selections.
Everything was good. The jets in the Jacuzzi are on the fritz, so they didn't work as good as they were supposed to, but they still work a little bit and they made sure to give people a fair warning as they checked in. The pool was super warm...like bath water, so that was very enjoyable! Breakfast was great....so many options! They were out of coffee when we went to eat, but she made more as soon as I brought it to her attention. The whole hotel was very warm, and they had the heater going in our room when we checked in, which I loved! I hate going into a freezing cold room! Overall, I would absolutely recommend this hotel and I will definitely stay here again! It was also extremely well-priced.
Stayed this last Monday night.I arrived just before 10p. Check in was quick and friendly. The hot tub was a welcome treat. I was on the first floor, even # side. It was quiet all night long. The room was good sized, good linens, and very clean. Breakfast consists of eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, cerea/oatmeall, waffles, yoghurt, juice and coffee Food was well stocked and tasty. No one was at the front desk when i checked out, so I left my key on the counter.
Comfortable place. After checking out and heading home we unfortunately had an auto accident that required us spending another night. On the original stay we had a very special rate and I asked if we could still get the same rate. They happily accommodate us with that request.
We had a very nice stay for 5 days, room was quiet and clean, breakfast was good, my only complaint was the hot tub - the temp would range from 105 to 108 - we asked 3 different desk clerks if they could turn it down a little with no luck - to offset this we would dump 4 buckets of ice in to get it down to about 104 (to bad the heater recovers so quickly). We mentioned it to the clerk when we checked out and she said I will go turn it down right now - 30 seconds later she returned and said all done ... really ?? Oh well, you cant win them all, but overall a very nice place and I would and will stay here again in the future
We were looking for a one night stay on our drive between Jackson Wyoming and Cody Wyoming. The drive was spectacular! We were very pleased with the room, it was quiet and very comfortable but the breakfast could have a little more varity.
This was not our first choice when we drove into town and needed a room unexpectedly. The building is a little older, but a perfectly fine place to stay. The service was good and the front desk did their best to give us their best rate without any trouble. I especially enjoyed some nice touches like 24 hour juice, hot coco and cider.
This is a great place. BUT they need to train the front staff better. The check-in lady was very new. By herself. Had problems with the Rewards coupon. Didn't know what to do without a printed copy. Took 10 minutes on their very slow internet to get a printed copy. I took two people to get us checked out. Coupon did not get processed! This is sad, because the facility and everything else rates a 10!!!
Eat and drink at the Wind River Pub and Grill--close by. Excellent craft beer and one of the best burgers ever Pinedale is a cool small town that has everything that a traveller would need and it is much less expensive than Jackson
Stayed here for one night. Everyone was very friendly, polite and accommodating. The hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable. The kids loved the pool. Hot breakfast of eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy as well as typical cereal and pastries. They also offer a gluten free line of foods too! I read some other reviews that were questionable, but for us it was a great experience and will stay here again when we're in the area.
Spectacular country at over seven thousand feet. Wherever we travel BW is our first choice. BW Pinedale was as expected with a few minor problems. The bathroom was small with poor lighting but the exhaust fan did seem to work. Poor lighting in the room except for the sink area. The area has gas and I think oil drilling so some of the trucks deposit a bit of earth in the parking area and it gets tracked into the entry. No big deal just info. Would we return? Yes.
Everything went well at check in. However, key did not work in lock. Pool room too dark to let kids swim. Hot tub not working plus no light in it which is illegal. As it turns out this is just as well because the pool water was green - saw it the next morning. The front desk agent's answer to our questions was always "I wouldn't know". The real problem was the breakfast. All eight people in our party including children came down with dysentery which is attributable to either the waffle mix they use (old) or the gravy (even older) . The Wyoming Department of Health does not consider dysentery a reportable disease. Travelers beware. Also, the manager has horrible customer service skills. This place is dirty and is not ADA compliant.
When my wife and I realised we were safer staying overnight than driving through the snow back home, I was pleased to remember that I had a Best Western Rewards account and appreciated all the comforts they provided, from the fireplace to the decor and friendly service. Gave us time to find dinner options in Pinedale and get familiar with the city as well.
The hotel does have two buildings and does not have an elevator. Keep this in mind if stairs will be a problem. The rooms are nice and the breakfast very good. The staff is friendly, but they did demonstrate some trouble handling certain billing related tasks. Everything worked out for us in the end. If you're spending time in Jackson, and planning to head out towards I-80 the next day, you would do well to stay here that night. It is a bit of a drive, but the cost savings are worth it and the place is pretty decent.
Clean hotel with really helpful and friendly staff. Room spacious with very tiny bath. Comfortable bed for sleeping, not so for sitting! Towels and linens were thin and rough. Tub slippery with no grab bar. Good breakfast with nice eating area. Price very reasonable. Bring your own hair dryer because the one in the room is 2 speeds and goes from hot to hotter. Direct TV service would not access NBC.
We arrived late. They put us in a building in the back on the first floor. No elevators. They failed to tell us that the local workers that come and go all night are on the second floor. We heard running up and down the hall and doors slamming ALL NIGHT long! No sleep. Very dissatisfied!
We stayed here before and after our camping trip-a total of 3 nights. Kellie, the manager was very helpful with reservations and room selection with our two small dogs. They have good space outside for dog walking and there is a wonderful park just up the road. Clean room and overall facility is comfortable and nice. We had a light burn out in our room and it was fixed promptly. No complaints
My boyfriend, myself, and my boyfriend's brother stayed here because we had a funeral to go to on Saturday. We stayed here because we didn't want to sleep on the floor at his relatives house. We checked in and went to our room. I noticed that it was just an average room. However, there was dried up mud on the ceiling by the window. The toilet also needs some maintenance because it flushed super slow. The bed was fine. It served me for what I needed it for. Breakfast was just your typical hotel breakfast. Although, my boyfriend loved the biscuits and gravy. He had two helpings of it! I just had toast, yogurt, and a muffin. I think the yogurt made my tummy upset later in the day. It was a cheaper brand for sure. Overall, if I had to stay here again I would. There really isn't very many choices here in Pinedale for hotels.
Quite satisfied, Pillows not very comfortble; otherwise, very nice. Breakfast was reasonably good. Staff very courteous and friendly. Value a tad high for Pinedale, but I understand. Too bd that the towen seems ti be in a down turn.
I have stayed at this hotel many times. The staff are friendly and professional. Considering its location is less than an hour from Jackson, the cost is substantially lower. The only downside - if there are no rooms available on the first floor, it would be difficult for mobility impaired people to access the upper floor with no elevator. However, the staff there would make every effort to assist! Highly recommend staying at this hotel!
enjoyed the room and the proximity.... not that pinedale is big, but we were able to walk to dinner (1/4 mile) and blast..... bed was really comfortable and room was quiet. shower was hot! everything was clean! if I have a gripe it's the cost..... I would expect a hotel in this town to be $100.... not so much..... that said, great room and comfy
Our check in experience was very smooth - was not overlong. The room, however, had ticks, spiders and earwigs. Hikers, campers and backpackers are allowed to bring their gear into the rooms. Very unusual in today's world. We asked to change rooms but was told that was impossible without the owner's permission. Needless to say, we did not sleep much that night. The pool room is too dark - the water is not filtered (very dirty). When checking out the following day, the manager, Kellie, was at the desk. She had greasy hair piled up on her head, huge bags under her eyes and pit stains on the uniform. She wasn't any cleaner that the rest of the place - that sort of thing starts at the top and works its way down. Garbage cans outside overflowing... Lobby had not been dusted or vacuumed in quite some time. Best Western used to have some standards about cleanliness.
We have been enjoying a road trip and decided to stay at this Best Western. There was no elevator but that really wasn't an issue. The room was ok-comfortable. The pool area was concerning. The water was murky and their was visible mold in corners and on the window sills. After dusk the pool room got real dark real quick. I reported my concerns to the front desk whose response was they are not allowed to call the pool guy. Something about a termination of services at the end of July. The manager, Kellie, acted really put out that we brought it up the next morning. It is her job no? In the morning we went down to breakfast but it was just too unappealing. The BW should team up with the Wrangler. Not a bad stay but not a great one.
The hotel itself was fine...like most Best Western hotels. It was the manager, Kellie, that was awful. I had made a reservation for 6 nights (Tuesday-Sunday), but told them that I wouldn't be needing the 6th night. They said that would be no problem at all. I received an emailed invoice for the extra night (just short of $200). I replied that we were out of the room Sunday morning. Kellie responded that there was still luggage in the room at noon on Sunday, and that the checkout was 11-12. I called her to discuss this, and she was horrible on the phone to me...never once apologizing for anything on her end and telling me I was accusing her of being a liar, etc, etc. I was speaking the fact that we were out of the room that morning with ALL of our luggage. I was then contacted by the GM of this hotel in reference to an automated email I did on my stay. This is what she said about me to the GM, which WOW! "She said she was checking out Sunday. Sunday after noon there was still luggage in the room, which I saw. She did nothing but scream at me over the phone after calling me a liar, among other things, multiple times even after I had told her I was refunding the night. I may not have handled this perfectly but this woman made problems for everyone here during her stay and I hope she never comes back." I own a retail business, and my parents are in the hotel industry, and I would NEVER speak like this to any customer!!!!
Where to start.... The front desk girl was out smoking with some guy in an obscene tshirt and filthy shorts. He was obviously more important than the guests even though we walked past her to get in. No elevator, no help with luggage. Room was dirty - we asked for another room but were told it was not possible. No pool towels. Pool very cold with cloudy water. But the breakfast was the kicker - cold gravy, hard biscuits, bad coffee. The faux scrambled eggs - we had to go across the street to the Wrangler for real food. It was not even a year ago this hotel was so much better....
The rooms were clean. It is okay I guess if you just need a place to lay your head at night but when we travel, we travel with friends and like to lounge around and visit with each other outside. The guys will smoke a cigar and we all like to just enjoy the night air while visiting instead of being cooped up inside. This place has no seating outside at all. Now to the front desk. The clerk was friendly enough upon check in BUT didn't seem to be knowledgeable on rewards. If she was, she did not explain to us if we were the ones who did not understand. There is a sign that stated grab and go. Had picture of bottled water and a banana. My husband has to use bottled water for his apnea machine. He forgot to get some. He went to front desk to ask if he could have a bottle of water as it stated on the grab and go. The clerk informed him that was for "gold members" only. We are platinum members. You will give your gold members a bottle of water but your platinum members cant have bottled water???? So either she didn't understand or she didn't explain to us why a platinum member cant have bottled water and a gold member can. Husband had to go back up the stairs and to the room to get debit card to go buy some water. Regardless, all over a bottle of water, that is not good customer service. We just spent over 100 dollars to stay one night at your facility. The least you could do is provide us a bottle of water for a medical situation.
Upon arrival, the desk clerk seemed uncertain about what to do to check us in. When we finally got to our room it was dirty. The next room had no remote lights didn't work. Third time is almost the charm as the key cards did not work. Mattresses need replaced. The big issue was the disgusting, horrid breakfast. Watery tasteless scrambled eggs, cold gravy (breakfast girl didn't know how to work the gravy she said). How is that possible? Front desk girls on their phones throughout the morning. Zero customer service-couldn't even get a pool towel. There are a lot of other hotels in Pinedale-we will choose differently next time.
I used to like Best Westerns because they tended to be older properties featuring large rooms and big outdoor pools. Each was run by a local family who really cared about their business. While that sort of Best Western is going by the wayside, the current plus is that BW is showing up in towns that formerly had no motels with swimming pools. The Pinedale Inn was an example of that for us. After a tough day of touristing, the pool was lovely. Everything else about the hotel was fine too.
We wanted to like this hotel, but security and safety were issues. The spa jets were not working and the railing on the steps of the spa were loose, so not safe for my handicapped husband when he exited the spa. Disappointing! Also the card access to the door nearest our room, which was at the very end of the building (in a building which was separate from the main hotel) did not work, so we had to use the stairs at the other end-no elevator- and haul our luggage all the way to the other end. When we returned to our room after trying the pool, the door was open with live wires hanging from it--an uncompleted repair evidently. Then when we were leaving the hotel early the next morning, we discovered that the door had been propped open with a rock; no one in sight who was taking out luggage. Who knows if it had been that way all night! Not the safest or best experience we've had! We were disappointed at the quality of this Best Western facility.
Find a better place. We found ticks on our beds. My wife went to talk to the person at the front desk and she said she would call her boss. Turns out she was the manager. She didn't do anything about the problem.
Stayed for one night on 30th May on our way to Yellowstone. Could not fault the hotel or the service and breakfast was excellent. A lovely girl on the front desk even insisted that I use her cell phone to sort out a problem with our car rental company. The pool was a real bonus after a long hot drive and I had it to myself. Had a great evening meal at the Wind River Brewing Company, on recommendation of front desk.
This hotel was the best Best Western I have ever stayed at! Great front desk staff, awesome breakfast with variety every day, comfy beds with loads of pillows, and the entire place was super clean! Even with a pretty full hotel it was very quiet, which is amazing! I was very impressed of the quality of the hotel on all counts! I would stay there anytime and will certainly recommend it to anyone going to Pinedale!
We stayed at the B/W in Pinedale Wyo and were very happy with the check in, the room, and the breakfast. The girl at the front desk was friendly and efficient, the room was clean & quiet, and the breakfast was good. The hotel is not fancy looking on the outside but it's clean and well kept, as are the lobby, hall ways and the very nice rooms and priced very reasonable. There is a restaurant across the street from the hotel which we didn't try but it seemed to have a full parking lot in the evening and again in the morning so they must be doing something right. Also if you get a chance take a small walk east from the hotel a few blocks to a very beautiful park with an impressive Vietnam Memorial. Well done Pinedale.
Was a very nice Best Western and we were very happy with check in, they found we had a free room on our rewards! Everyone was very nice and clean rooms. The staff was very knowledgeable and the free breakfast is a nice bonus.
Quick and easy check in. Room was decent bed was comfy.. plenty of pillows. The front desk staff was very helpful. I try to stay at this hotel when I am in or around pinedale wy. Breakfast was hot and had fresh coffee in the mornings.
Wonderful free hot breakfast, nice rooms, clean bathroom, clean sink area, beds are comfy with a nice assortment of pillows, great pool and hot tub, friendly staff, and overall atmosphere is aesthetically pleasing. I especially like the assortment of food at breakfast - you can tell they take care in their options. Only things they seem to be lacking are elevator and fitness room which aren't problems for me. When I stayed here, they contracted out their landscaping to a local moose family. ??We got to see the moose from the safety of our windows at the hotel. Exciting!
This hotel is great! It has a pool, breakfast (from 6-9), awesome staff and is very clean and cozy! Right next door is a great little coffee place (Mocha Mountain!). The front desk staff is amazing! They are so friendly and incredibly helpful!! They definitely make you feel welcome! This is a great place to stay!
Stayed in Pinedale.on way to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Nice town. Great food at the brewery. Friendly and helpful at the hotel and in townfolks. THE HILL CLIMB WAS GREAT HAD SUPER ACTION ... COME CHECK IT OUT.
Clean rooms, comfy bed, very friendly desk lady and a nice pool. It is in quaint little town off the beaten path. There is a restaurant right across the street. Standard BW breakfast. This hotel is a perfectly fine place.
I was very impressed with the quality of staff.. friendliness cleanliness and always willing to help us while we stayed at the hotel. I highly recommend staying at this hotel if you are passing through or staying in Pinedale
This was a great place to stay and good value for our money. We were late down to breakfast (they were just cleaning up) and the staff lady cleaning up the room told us to help ourselves and invited us to sit in the breakfast room to eat. The lady that checked us in the night before was very helpful in giving us ideas on places to get something to eat - it was 8:30 on a Sunday night in a small town, most places were closed). Convenient location to services and brand new furnishings in the room were nice.
Breakfast wasn't as good as I'd hoped but was ok. Overall the price for a room was a great value as compared to other Pinedale hotels. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. No workout facilities, which was disappointing but the Pinedale Aquatic Center is close by and only $7 for guests. Very reasonable.
Exterior is well-kept. Interior is clean. No problems with amenities. Everything was in good working order. The clerk on duty upon check-in was welcoming although we had no reservation. The breakfast was typical breakfast fare. The coffee was good.
This location meats all the expectations a traveler needs. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff made us feel welcome and were present to work with. Everything about this location meets the BW standards.
I had a very nice stay at the Pinedale Inn. The staff was helpful and courteous. The hotel was clean and nicely appointed. The breakfast was excellent, and the dining area was roomy and comfortable. My only complaint was the ridiculous antiseptic tv remote, not a deal breaker but an unnecessary annoyance. Overall a very nice experience.
On way to Grand Tetons, we did an overnight here. The Facility was clean, nicely appointed and very friendly staff. The morning breakfast was excellent! Did not have the opportunity to use any of the pool/hot tub facilities.
Our room had air con stuck on 63 deg, TV didn't work, and telephone didn't work. They gave us another room. I cancelled on night of my paid reservation, and only stayed 2 of 3 paid nights. I was told I would get a credit. I still haven't received a credit.
This is one of the few hotels in this small town, which has been inundated with energy-field workers. However, the hotel was a pleasant experience for this woman traveling alone with her dog. They were most accommodating to the dogs. While the hotel was very busy even this late in the fall due to energy-field workers, government workers, and hunters, staff and other guests were pleasant. I appreciate the dog-friendly attitude, nice room, and pleasant town.
This hotel was okay. The room was nice and clean. Not having an elevator is a drawback, especially when you're dead tired from being on the road. The check in attendants were quite busy when we checked in. Many oilfield workers stayed there and mud, dirt and rocks were on the stairs and carpeting. Breakfast is what you would usually find in such a hotel. It was alright. All in all, I would probably stay here again, on the ground floor.
Drive from Jackson, Wy to Pinedale is well worth the trip as it is a very scenic drive. Little town of Pinedale seemed like a real western Wyoming town. Hotel was very clean and great place to relax from all the hustle and bustle of Jackson. Several nice restaurants and even a local brewery near the hotel. Take some time to take the drive around Fremont Lake as the views from the top of mountain are outstanding.
We were very satisfied with the room and accomodations of the hotel. The staff was professional and friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through the Pinedale area. Thank you so much.
Plenty of parking. Pool and hot tub. Decent sized rooms (I think we had suites). Staff were helpful with suggestions for eating out, etc. Straightforward breakfast. Rooms clean and with ample hot water.
Very clean lobby, nice hostess at check in. Large 2 queen bed room on the second floor - required using stairs. Rooms were quiet and good wifi connection. Very good breakfast with hot meats, biscuits and gravy, scammbled eggs, lots of breads, cold cereals, fruit (fresh and in a sealed cup), waffle maker, coffee, etc. Price was average for a tourist town. I would stay again as it is fairly close to the main part of town.
On our way to Cody Wy, we made a stop, in Pinedale to rest a night. Very nice hotel and great place to stay. Great breakfast with lots of choices to eat. Small town atmosphere. I recommend staying here if your traveling to places in Wyoming.
Reasonable place to stay.staff was nice and accommodating. Hot tub was super hot they added water. Pool very cold though.breakfast was good. Nice view we got to see a moose ad her twin babies made my trip great!
We popped into Pinedale after leaving the craziness of the eclipse chasers up in Yellowstone and the Tetons. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The room was clean and tidy. We used the laundry room as well and their machines did a great job getting our campy clothes clean. There was nice grassy areas all around the hotel for my dog to do his business, but I did notice that other dogs before him had done their business there and nobody picked up after them. It would be nice if the hotel provided dog bags for this. Otherwise, it was fine for the night and clean. Pinedale is a cute little town!
Our stay at the Best Western Pinedale Inn was comfortable and we found the staff very friendly and attentive. Our room was well-appointed, spacious, and the bed provided us with a relaxing sleep experience. This property is very clean and quiet and the free breakfast was tasty and offered something for everyone. It's a scenic and easy ride of about an hour to Jackson Hole and Grand Teton National Park and we would definitely stay here again if visiting the area.
We needed a place to stay on the way to Jackson, WY. This was 77 miles away so we could spent the night nearby and the full day in Jackson. Best Westerns work for us in Europe and in out of the way places in the US. The one in Pinedale is fine.
We were treated very rudely by the staff upon arriving at 11 p.m. because the night shift girl saw us smoking outside. So we got a big lecture about smoking in the rooms to only arrive to the smell of marijuana all the way down the hallway to our room. There was no elevator and we were on the second floor. My husband has a bad back so that made luggage carrying difficult. The breakfast was very nice though plenty of selection and plenty of seating. The beds were average in comfort. Nothing to write home to mom about.
By far the nicest Best Western we've stayed in on our cross country trips. The room was nicely furnished with all amenities. The beds were comfy. The sheets were a bit old and wrinkly, but clean. The breakfast was great, lots to choose from, hot and cold. Staff were very friendly and efficient. If we ever head back through Pinedale, Best Western would be our first choice of hotels. Thank you for a very comfortable one night stay.
A wonderful place to stay in Pinedale, WY. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The breakfast is an incredible spread. The staff was friendly and helpful. The best part of this place is it is dog friendly.
The Best Western Pinedale was conveniently located and the staff was very informative and helpful. The rooms were a good size and the décor appeared to match the surrounding area quite well. I would definitely return to this hotel if I am in the area again.
Stayed at this BW on our way to The Tetons. It is just a short, scenic drive to Jackson Hole. Hotel was great, staff very accommodating. Rooms are clean. Pool/ hot tub area also clean and tidy. Within walking distance to park area and ice cream. Would def. stay there again.
These folks go out of their way to be helpful and friendly. The rooms are full of amenities, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was a full hot breakfast that was delicious. If you are traveling in this area, this is a great place for you AND your pets to stay.
Great motel just two hours from the Grand Tetons. Close to two parks with walking trails with moose and other wildlife. Great breakfast and staff was very hospitable. Rooms were clean and plenty of room with good wifi and TV.
Outstanding motel in a somewhat out of the way area. Huge room and lots of good things to eat at breakfast. Staff was friendly and responsive to us. Pool was large and included a hot tub that felt great after a long trip. The queen and king bed were ideal for our needs.
I travel for business and typically stay at Holiday Inn and Choice Hotel rewards. This by far was one of the cleanest Hotels I've stayed at. Hats off to the owners and managers. My only disappointment was when I walked outside to enjoy the morning view of the wonderful state of Wyoming, there was no bench or chairs to sit on outside . But I understand this is not an ammendity offer at most Hotels. In respect to breckfest it was above average for cleanliness but the survey should take in consideration this is your typically breckfest all Hotels offer. When you travel 100 days a year it becomes airplane food. It will due in a pinch but not very satisfying and better then nothing.
We stayed here on our way to the Tetons. The hotel was super nice, clean and well maintained. The pool was big, with clean cool water, and the hot tub was hot! Great breakfast, and right across the street from several places to eat dinner. Highly recommend!
This was an excellent hotel to stay at. Our experience was great. The service by the staff were very welcome. The check in process was handle professionally. The room was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The internet services were very fast. In the morning, the breakfast service was great. They had a variety of food to offer from hot food to cold food. The town itself had a lot to offer.
My husband and I stayed here for two nights during during the Green River Rendezvous (Mountain Men) festival in July. We had a room on the first floor next to the indoor pool, on the back side of the building. The room was free of road noise. We heard noise from the pool, but that ended when the pool closed at 10pm. We had two queen-sized beds. I slept in one, my husband in the other. There was a nightstand with one lamp between the beds. I slept close to the nightstand. I thought that side of the bed was a little worn out. The framing and firmness of the mattress was too apparent. The other side of the mattress was more comfortable. My husband had no complaints about his mattress. The plumbing fixtures and bathroom tile were up-to-date. However, the toilet was really low, like one designed for use by children in a grade school. The room many nice features; new carpeting, an upholstered armchair, a padded desk chair and desk, dresser, clockradio, flatscreen TV, refrigerator, microwave, two floor lamps, coffee maker, luggage rack, closet with hangers, ironing board, etc. We could not locate a way to leave the room fan on constantly. It would run, and then turn off. We decided to leave the window open with the fan intermittently running. We stayed two nights at the hotel, but partook of the free breakfast only once. One harried employee was assigned to clean and stock the breakfast room during that busy festival Saturday. The breakfast buffet ran out of eggs. The young employee partially heated a pan of what was probably liquid egg mixture. The result was a pan of what seemed like solid opaque yellow jello. It was chilly cold in the middle. We decided it was not safe to eat. The eggs would have come out much better if they had been periodically stirred while cooking. We did not try the bacon, biscuits and gravy, toast or cold cereal. Instead we ate the small yogurt cups, canned fruit cups, and some apple strudel that was dry but edible. My husband cooked a couple waffles which came out fine. This hotel is located across the street from the Wrangler Cafe. On our second morning we went there and had a great breakfast. If you can afford an extra ten dollars per meal, skip the hotel breakfast and eat at the Wrangler Cafe. We noticed a couple motels in town that were mom-and-pop operations or of a brand unknown to us. The smaller ones were closer to the hustle, bustle, and noise of the center of this small town. If we stay in Pinedale again, we will probably stay at this Best Western again, but will eat breakfast across the street at the Wrangler Cafe.
This was one of the cleanest and best run small hotels I've ever run across. The front desk folks were helpful. Rooms/Lobby/Indoor Pool Area/Hot Tub were super clean. Breakfast was good. What more can you ask for in Pinedale. Nice job Best Western folks!
Stay was very good. Above-Average for this trip. Personnel were friendly. Glad to find Best Western on our trip. Slightly worn but clean. Breakfast was excellent. Loved the setting. Easy to get around and close to good restaurants.
Very nice and clean hotel in a beautiful town. The staff were very nice and helpful. Well at least when we checked in. When we checked out I'm not sure if he was a "sub" filling in but he wasn't knowledgeable about the hotel. Wanted to do some payment changing and he acted like he didn't know much. Not to mention the fact that you could tell he didn't want to be there...but.... the room was nice and clean. Breakfast was one of the best we have had. A lot of choices. The girl taking care of it was great. The pool was clean and nice. Very quiet hotel. Great for a one night stop.
We will always stay at Best Western hotels. Every stay has always been perfect. It was clean, friendly staff and the breakfast was great. We loved that it was close to Freeways and that there were plenty of places to have other meals. I will always refer people to Best western and that is the only place we will stay when we are traveling.
The hotel's outer appearance does not do it justice. It is very nice inside, with a great staff and comfortable rooms. The check-in process was smooth. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The pool area was clean, though the water was bit colder than I'd expected. And the hot breakfast was great - it had a great variety of items for my family to choose from. Overall, I really enjoyed our stay here. I will be back if I am in the area again.
Clean rooms, helpful and courteous staff, nice pool. The staff had a good knowledge of local attractions and places to go fishing. Food was good. Our only problem was we could only get one room key to work at a time. Trying to re-key both card keys never resulted in my spouse and I both having functional key.
This was our last night of a three week road trip and last of many hotels stays. The staff here (all female) were by far the friendliest we had experienced. Our room and bathroom were clean and bed very comfortable. Breakfast was just OK. A little pricey, but much more affordable than Jackson.
very nice hotel and a great location for a layover before heading to tetons. very friendly and helpful front desk. location in town not the best for walking to anything, but town is not bad to drive around in.
The overall hotel experience was pretty good but there are a few issues that should be addressed. The room was clean and our kids enjoyed the indoor pool. The TV was pretty small, but we were only there for 1 night. The shower curtain wouldn't stay inside the tub because it was too short (it had a curved rod for "more space") so water splashed all over the bathroom floor and under the door, but the hotel staff gave us more towels immediately to clean it up and have fresh towels - if the curtain is wet, the weight holds it down inside the tub so we only had the water issue once. The free breakfast is plentiful with cereal, eggs, bacon, potatoes, waffles, etc., but you have to get there early. It closes at 9 AM but come 8:15/8:30 it becomes a little sparse...and if you try to eat breakfast after that, there's almost nothing left - not even the packaged muffins or bread!
There were 12 of us, 11 motorcycles. The hotel was very nice, clean, and quiet. The room was equally clean, quiet, and comfortable. The gentlemen in our group took advantage of the pool. The parking area accommodated the 11 motorcycles nicely. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was very good.
Would totally stay here again. Service was great and staff was friendly, professional and accomodating. Was traveling with 7 year old and the pool was amazing. Had everything you would need and the price was great.
We were quite surprised at how nice the facility was. They seem to be keeping things clean continuously. Rick this was rotated between sausage Canadian bacon and bacon and different sides. I really love the toppings they have for The make it yourself waffle.
I will definitely stay there when I return I'm a few weeks for another Four to six weeks. For the price and location to the oilfields it definitely is the best value for your dollar! Great tourist town. My two favorite restaurants in pinedale or Los Cabos and the newly remodeled Stockmans. Has the best steak in town!!!
This was a one night stay on our way to Rocky Mountain National Park. It was a nice surprise not knowing what to expect in a small town like Pinedale. One of the best Best Westerns we've stayed in this trip. Very friendly and pleasant staff. Excellent breakfast with a nice variety of hot and cold items. Room was comfortable and clean.
The staff was helpful and kind. They got what we needed quickly. The pool was clean and kept up. The breakfast was good, lots of choices and the breakfast staff was kind and helpful too. Checkout was easy. The staff answered questions about the town too.
Excellent room, service, and staff. The bed was amazingly comfortable! I would recommend this hotel over the others located in Pinedale for price, service, and accommodations. I've stayed at the Hampton Inn, Baymont Inn, the Lodge, and Lakeside Lodge. All are nice, but BW was by far the best deal for the money.
It is what I expected from a Best Western. We are very rarely let down by them. Only negative I have is the "heated" pool was ice cold and the hot tub, was not hot. We stayed in January so a cold pool and a luke warm hot tub were kinda a let down
One of the best Best westerns we have stayed at. My wife stayed there in Decatur for two nights and was impress with the service and the motel. When we arrived, I found the appearance of the motel nice and there was plenty of parking and was in a good location. Decor of the lobby was very nice and clean Room was clean and the motel was quiet. Breakfast was outstanding and a good selection. The manager, Virginia, went out of the way to help us. We stayed there two days. All the personnel was friendly and helpful. Room room rate was reasonable and the motel is pet friendly and there is not pet fee. Would stay there again. Pinedale is one is one of the niceness small towns in Wyoming, Stop over if going to Jackson or Yellowstone.
Driving across Wyoming and this motel was a gem. Stayed with our dogs and the staff and room couldn't be nicer. We are picky and pleasently surprised by this motel. Staff even called to see if we liked our room.
The location of the hotel works well. Very convenient. Horrible internet service. No workout room. A poorly stocked breakfast buffet. The staff didn't seem very knowledgeable. Basic questions such as "do you have an elevator?" were met with indecision. The woman was new at her job and very courteous, but she shouldn't have been on the desk alone yet. She needed more training - but again was very nice and doing her best. There are other hotels in the area. I'd consider one of those first.
Always like staying at this hotel, close to everything we were there to do, easy access. The museum is a must see and river walk is close. Thank you for being dog friendly! We will be back soon to enjoy the fishing.
To me it came down to this the Baymont and the Hampton Inn, This one not only is a bit cheaper than the others but closer to the downtown area too. I found it to be plenty nice, clean, and roomy. Check in was quick and easy. Had all the amenities you'd expect; pool, hot tub, flat screen tv, and a good hot breakfast. Enjoyed my stay.
After leaving Jackson Hole in a white out, The city of Pinedale,Wyoming was a welcome retreat from bad roads. Nice clean hotel, nice hot tub. Good recommendations for eating from the staff breakfast was ok.
Good place to stay between Jackson Hole or Yellowstone and Rocksprings Wyoming on Hwy 191.My wife stayed there two nights and was very pleased with her stay. Appearance of motel, nice. Lobby small, however, the decor was nice and the lobby was clean. Motel room very clean and comfortable. Decor very nice and the room smell clean. Full breakfast, very good, with a large selection All the employees were friendly and helpful.Rated the motel five stars. Pet friendly. Reasonable rates. Will stay there again, when we are in that area.
Nice, clean place in small town w/ pleasant, attentive and helpful staff at desk. Small town and we only stayed one night but location was good and limited noise. Comfortable furnishings. Would stay again.
The room was standard, well kept chain motel good. One of the few best Westerns that allows you to take your dogs. Ple4asant front desk staff and yummy breakfast. We only staye done night but no complaints
I stayed here on a business trip. This BW met my needs - good bed, shower, breakfast, and internet. The BW was priced competitively. Staff members were welcoming and helpful, offering good advice about restaurants.
New appearance comfortable and fair price. Heated indoor pool. Very friendly front desk. Priced right. No elevator to second floor. Good breakfast area. Public computers are nice touch No parking for rv. Clean hot water. Good water pressure and soft sheets.
This hotel met all expectations: comfortable, clean room with great beds and A/C. Friendly staff and good breakfast next morning. Easy in and easy out location. Our stay was only one night and I did think the room was a little pricey.
One night quick stay, but clean, comfortable, quiet and cost $25 per night less than the Hampton. :I like the individual cooling, as allows so much more control of your sleep preferences.Breakfast was probably the week spot as just average, but decent.
the bathroom (with tub and toilet) as extremely small for a 4 person room. The one sink was directly next to the door which would make it difficult for someone to leave if the sink is being used. I was surprised breakfast was only offered until 9 am on a Saturday.
Throughout the night, we had coughing, sneezing, and woke up with a headache. In the morning, we checked the AC/heater dual filters The both were plugged with dirt. Apparently, the filters were never cleaned for months. When we got back, we called the hotel manager and explained the problem with the filters. She apologized and assured us that not only she would look into it, but she would refund the room charge. She never made any refund. The breakfast was also terrible. The scrambled eggs came from frozen packages and tasted like cardboard. The sausages were also under cooked! Finally, it took over 20 minutes to make the room reservation. The employee was new and had no training.
Easy to find the hotel. Friendly check-in service, good amount of parking area, a quiet & comfortable stay, nicely decorated, wi-fi worked well, breakfast included is always a nice thing, and we were allowed to fill our travel coffee mugs to go.
While traveling to a backpacking trip to the Wind Rivers I stayed at the Best Western hotel in Pinedale Wyoming. I can not say enough positive things about this hotel The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the room was very clean and decorated nicely. The other great thing was the complimentary breakfast that was amazing. It was seriously one of the best breakfast I have ever had in a very friendly environment.
Room was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Microwave and fridge in room are convenient. Bathroom was a bit small, but clean. Front desk clerk was friendly, even after checking in a large group of tired firefighters ahead of us. Breakfast was typical complimentary breakfast, although it was nice to have sausage which isn't always included.
We were very disappointed with this property mainly because of the check-in staff. I called ahead to the property to made a reservation to help the property avoid any commissions on an online reservation. The agent was difficult to understand and refused to give me any discount rates. In fact she told me to book online. We are Best Western Reward members and supposedly guaranteed a 10 % discount (same as AAA, AARP, Senior, etc.). When we arrived the same agent gave my husband grief about the discount but finally discounted the rate. Of course, she put us in the furthest room away and upstairs. No problem, we enjoyed the exercise. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was the average fare.
Our family of four reserved a room with 2 kings which we love. I wish more hotels offered this option. The room was comfortable and clean. The room had a fridge & microwave and a table with chairs to eat on. Very roomy. No issues with the wifi in the room; it worked very well. Our room was above the pool and we could hear pool noises. But when the pool closed, the room was very quiet and all four of us had a great night's sleep. The sink was by the door and the tub/toilet area was on the small size. However, the sink & counter area were more than adequate and I appreciate having the sink outside of the tub area. Breakfast was very good - plenty of choices and lots of seating.
Had a good nights sleep. Bed was comfortable althought the right side well worn. It was quiet enough to sleep without earplugs. Breakfast was very iffy...a carb/junk food fest. The heated pool was cool and the hot tub did not heat up either, but it was okay cause I had it to myself. The place was clean! My room was clean!
The hotel is on the main thorough fare, but traffic is light and getting in and out was easy. The check in was fast and easy.Te entry and building are well lit. Did not hear the other guests, always a plus. Wish we had the time to utilize the heated pool! The drive there and to the park was awe inspiring.
Clean, quiet, friendly staff especially Anastasia! Bathrooms are on the small size but clean. We stopped for 1 night on our way to Yellowstone. Pool was very clean on not heavy on the chlorine like some hotels. Pool room is not lighted very well but clean. During our visit the spa was closed due to need of repairs. Laundry room was nice but we did not use the machines. A work out room would have been nice but did not see one and did not ask. We ordered pizza from a local mom and pop place and were amazed with how big it was! Very good too! We can not say enough good about Anastasia. Very sweet and helpful and willing to help with anything we needed! We stayed on the second floor even though no elevator we were happy to have no one above us. We had the whole family packed into 1 bag so the small hike up the steps was not an issue for us. Would stay here again!
New er building so was in excellent condition. Had indoor pool and free continental breakfast (usual range but good). 2nd floor room (no lift)- large room with sofa chair plus desk and chair. Room was very clean x 2 queen size beds which were very comfortable
First of all its a maze to get to the room. No hot water in jacuzzi. Washing machine doesnt work or I should say does not wring the clothes. tried four times at the desk to get help. They never did put sign saying its out of order. No ice in second story floor. Internet connection terrible with three different devices. Noisy mini fridge thats hums all night, finally unplugged it. Bathroom fan comes on at 6:00am automatically as is noisy as ever. If you have a second choice just move their as fast as possible.
Did not enjoy my 2 night stay there... Had multiple suitcases to haul up to the 2nd floor room because they have no elevator and no one to help with the luggage. Hot tub was ice cold no heat... pool wasn't clean... Was told was served until 10 am ... went down to eat at 9:20 am and it was all closed, was then told they shut it down at 9 am....
It is a fine stay for the night. For the price, I was disappointed in the quality of the room. Their was a strange smell from the AC unit which gave me a headache, and they were out of laundry soap in the entire hotel and I need to wash clothes as I had been traveling quite a bit. All in all not a bad stay.
We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western in Pinedale on our way to Yellowstone. The rates were affordable, and the rooms were large and comfortable. The kids loved the pancake machine that was available at breakfast.
The room was standard. No elevator. Pool Room dark. The Philipina front desk agent was too flirty - threw herself at my husband. Breakfast was OK - but with all the locals out of work, why would they hire Muslim girls from Russia? Isn't that a bit insulting?
Nice stay til the attendant at breakfast forced my husband to take the last spoonful of eggs before she would replenish the item. Café was filled with hungry guests, so fresh eggs would have been welcomed by all.
Need new beds. I enjoyed your Best Western Motel. Everyone was more than helpful. I do believe that your Hotel needs to put an Elevator in to accommodate the disabled and the elderly.. Everything I asked for was given graciously by the staff.
This was a great hotel. Comfy beds. Clean, Helpful staff. Good breakfast selection. Overall excellent choice. Wished they had had a fitness room. Had trouble with the Wi-Fi. Convenient to stores, restaurants.
I travel with my two small dogs and prefer to use Best Western motels. I chose this one mainly for the proximity to Grand Teton National Park, but I would choose it again because they were so nice. There was no additional "pet fee," which I really appreciated. The room was excellent and quiet. I slept late and didn't hear other people leaving.
I absolutely enjoyed my stay here at this motel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room and bed were comfortable. The breakfast was good. It was a great value for the money. There are beautiful views of mountains on 3 sides, and it is not far from Yellowstone National Park. I will definitely return here the next time I go across the country.
Great hotel! it was a welcome relief for our tired travelers. For the out of the way location, this hotel provided everything we needed including great views and wildlife. Would recommend this location anytime I'm in the area.
The room was clean, very comfortable especially the beds! After many hours on the road we were really hoping for a comfortable stay. They did not disappoint. Breakfast was top notch! Loved it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If ever in the area again will be staying here.
If you're looking for God's Country, visit Pinedale, Wyoming! Located between Rocksprings, Wyoming and Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The rooms are clean and smell wonderful when you walk in. The service is great, fast and so courteous! Everyone wears a smile on their face no matter what time of the day you're checking in. The continental breakfast is more than a muffin or English toast and cold cereals, they lay out a full hot breakfast!
The hotel was very clean and well taken care of. It was a great value for the cost. The most impressive part of our stay was the friendliness of the staff. When we checked in the desk clerk was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and the staff took very good care in keeping it fresh and hot. I can't say enough about the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Would definitely recommend.
great except for the toilet in handicap room. Excellent break fast both hot and cold Staff very friendly and helpful internet was not working in lobby but good in the room employees directed us to a great resturant and location great for highway travel
Great stay! I liked the breakfast, comfortable bed, internet connection, and especially the indoor pool! The hotel is right on the main boulevard where you have straight access to stores, restaurants, and highway.
I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel on a business trip. The room was clean, and the refrigerator and microwave worked fine. The bed was soft and clean. My only minor issue was the small TV that didn't really extend far enough from the bureau to give a good viewing angle from the bed. The hotel was very quiet, which was perfect. The pool and hot tub seemed nice, but I didn't take a close look. Breakfast was good, and they even offered biscuits and gravy. I'd recommend this hotel if you need a basic, clean room.
Pinedale WY is in the middle of no where. But if you need a place to rest and recover from your travels, this is the place to be. Its not big, its not fancy... but it has great friendly people and a clean simple quiet place to recharge your batteries while travelling. They treated me good and I can't wait to get back there again.
I enjoyed the majority of our stay. Our check-in clerk seemed a bit confused about a few things. The bathroom was too small for my liking. It was difficult to dress in, because there were others in the room with me. Also, the staff did not seem prepared to have a full Boys High School Swim Team for breakfast. They obviously ran out of several items and did not appear worried about it at all. And lastly, the bed did have a funny ledge feeling around it.
just an enjoyable place to stay, the staff and Management are top notch in my opinion. They are very friendly and helpfull. Always meet you with a warm, personal smile and caring attitude. They are Genuine, not false
Our stay at Best Western in Pinedale, Wyoming was average. The bad were nice could use more blankets as an option. TV are really small. Our room never got cleaned or replenished. Having a room right above the pool is extremely loud. It would be nice if Breakfast was till 10 and items were replenished, ran out of eggs, bisquets, and sausage.
This hotel has always been great. I remember coming here way back in the day and the hotel manager marjorie was always amazing. The new hotel manager is also amazing. This place is just always going to be a must stop when traveling to or through pinedale, wy
We often stay at Best Western as they often all pets, so we selected this BW. Reflecting on the our stay, there was nothing special to rate this hotel higher than 3 bullets. Room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was just plain.
Stay here and you will be treated very well. The place was clean, warm and comfortable. Appearance was clean, neat and beautifully decorated. Food was hot, fresh and delicious. The location was easy to find and very central to everything we wanted. The staff was warm, friendly, knowledgeable and eager to please. The showers were large, clean and lots of hot water.
This hotel is easy to find being located at the side of the main road. Car parking is excellent, the staff were very helpful and friendly, giving us a very warm welcome. The rooms are a good size and very clean and the beds are very comfortable. The laundry facilities are excellent as is the swimming pool, which is a good size and obviously well maintained. This was our first visit to this hotel, but it won't be the last.
After reading the reviews of this place I decided to take a chance. I was pleasantly surprised! It was very clean and smelled good! The bed was comfortable with a bunch of nice pillows. Fridge, microwave and coffee pot in the room. The only thing that was sort of a pain was the toilet. It was difficult to flush! I could connect my phone to the WiFi but my laptop wouldn't connect. The breakfast was skimpy. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Four of us stayed in Pinedale the night before a backpacking trip This was an acceptable staging area: the rooms were clean, comfortable (although the mattress was softer than I prefer), and large enough. The computer in the business center worked fine. The complimentary breakfast was standard: the quality of the food was OK but the selection a little sparse. The front desk personnel were friendly and efficient at both check-in and checkout and tried to give helpful advice about dinner options. I would stay here again.
This has to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed. We were very tired and needed a place to stay. Air conditioner did not work!!!! Room smelled. Very noisy close to road lots of traffic. Breakfast not good. Said was suppose to be equal to a Comfort Inn. Not even close.
