"Don't come here if you expect a clean room"
The young man working down stairs was very polite and helpful but the first room I checked into the shower was broken so I got moved to another room and the room was filthy. The sheets had what was either stains from feces or vomit and hairs on the sheets which made it obvious they weren't changed. The bathroom had water marks on from someone else in the shower and the tile not being mopped, the shampoo and conditioner bottles were filthy and looked like they had roach feces on them. I took pictures of everything and immediately left and got a room at the hampton ( a cleaner hotel)

"Needs improvement"
I hate writing this review. I really want to be able to give it a five and I just can't. This is an older two-story property. It's a little rundown and needs work. Before I say too much more, I would like to give the desk clerk and the maintenance man a thumbs up for trying to resolve issues. They were very accommodating. But as I said the property is old. It was cold this time of year and this was when the temperatures were in the teens and zero. The room we got was paid for by someone else. That is why we stayed. When we got there, we were warned that the shower nozzle had to be pulled straight out and not just turned. The first room we went to did not have any heat. He offered to move us to another room and we did. It was around the backside of the building and my husband is mobility challenged. after moving, he decided to take a shower, and the water was not very hot. The desk clerk came again to show us again how to turn it on because it was very difficult to work. The room was clean otherwise, just outdated. I know they want to do a good business and have good reviews. I would hope that the owner could put some money into improving the property and putting in shower nozzles that are easy to turn on and off. I don't think some of the rooms were rented for some time and he explained but some of them were not cleaned due to short staff. We did not eat breakfast the next morning so I cannot speak to that.

"Unclean Room"
While Hampton Inn location was convenient and staff was courteous, our room had not been properly cleaned. Clothing from previous guest was wadded up in bathroom and floor had not been vacuumed, evidenced by pieces of food wrappers on floor. Breakfast was average and area appeared clean. Location felt safe.
"Great place to stay for a good price"
This is a great place to stay, whether just overnight or longer. You definitely get a good return for the money you spend. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they definitely make you feel welcome.

"Rat trap inn"
It's not clean. Has both live and dead bugs everywhere. stained sheets blankets and mattresses. the tub faucet is stupid hard to turn on and off. They left our door open after cleaning. Lots of people live here permanently

"good place"
i try to stay at Best western, this was nice, clean and a great price, breakfast was good, lots to pick from and the waffle machine is the bomb. i would and will stay again, easy to get to, next to walmart, lots parking, good lighting out side in parking lot

"No air conditioner cool down"
We arrived at midnight to a hot overheated room with no air conditioner on to cool room down before guess arrival took 3 hrs to cool down enough to go to sleep at 3 AM. Next day air condition couldn't keep room cold. Room outdated and didn't look very clean so,we went ahead and checked out late afternoon and came back home instead of spending another night. We were there for a funeral.

"No coronavirus precautions"
I just checked in. The receptionist wasn't wearing a mask nor were any other clients despite the COVID safety posters near the check in area. This is not a safe space. I don't have a choice but would recommend people against traveling anywhere in this region since coronavirus is treated practically like a myth by individuals and businesses alike.

"Very good value."
Very nice room, comfy bed, good A/C, fridge, micro all fine. The only negatives were some spots on the carpet and the alarm went off at midnight even though it was not set. Plenty of ice. Breakfast was continental because of Covid-19. Good selection - cereal, muffins, toast, apples, bananas, yogurt, juice, coffee.

"Very pleasant"
The pampa Best Western was a very nice place to stay. The clerk was very helpful ànd very friendly. The room and bathroom were very clean and had an elegance about them. The shower head was awesome. Lots of pressure. For sure my newest favorite place to stay.

"Night staff excellent cleaning and maintenance meh"
Excellent customer service. Night staff addressed all concerns promptly and politely. Although customer service shouldn't have been necessary with adequate maintenance and cleaning. Keycard didn't work, light stopped functioning in bathroom, towel rack came off wall, squeaky front door, bathroom door didn't close all the way, stain on bedspread, shmutz on hard surfaces, sock in corner of room, chunk of brownie on floor.

"Short and Sweet"
Great price, nice friendly people at the front desk. Our stay was short. Am supposed to use 200 characters, but I don't have that much to say. I have stayed at Best Westerns in 42 states. This was a new one.

"Great stay"
We had a great night here, we had been driving for 14 hours and we were welcomed by the front desk. She was very helpful and even switched our room when we needed to be closer to our truck. Breakfast was fantastic. Biscuits and gravy, waffles, omelet, sausage, yogurt and more! It was all hot and delicious. The only thing that was annoying was the shower faucet was hard to turn on. It was a reasonable price and bed was comfortable too. I would recommend staying there!
"Decent stay for area"
It wasn't a bad stay but some people around the area just don't have consideration for other people when they get loud. But other than that its an ok stay. Its not the most glamorous place but it'll do. Not so pricey also.

"Pampa two night stay"
Room was ok just needs updating, needs new beds, value was good. It was quite not very business the nights we were there, easy to fine and good parking. Staff could have been more informed about restaurants in the area.

Great area ,beds are comfortable and very clean. Steak house walking distance . Many restaurants and Walmart shopping center very close .. over all it was a great stay we even decided to stay another night .

"BW quality you expect"
I like to stay at BW because of the consistent quality between locations, and a family-style hospitality. The BW in Pampa easily met this standard; not surprised, but didn't disappoint. Breakfast options were solid (for a motel), including Texas-shaped waffles :)

"Great Hotel"
I like the Best Western north of town. It's next to a hospital and a Walmart so almost anything I need is within walking distance. The rates are what got me the first time but the quality and the service keep me coming back. I'm comfortable there. I've stayed there 3 or 4 times and will every time I come up. Great staff, great service, great quality and a great price! I am not a robot.

"Relaxing"
Just nice to get away for a night or two to relieve the stress level! GOTTA love the quiet time to plan out your next move!! Just having the funds to enjoy life a little ! I just turn off all devices and concentrate on how I need to do things better!!

Everything was great. We came in and they greeted us and made everything go smoothly. Check in was fast. The rooms were clean and cleaned daily. Wish I could have had breakfast but we left too early each morning.

Staff is nice. Rooms are clean. Beds are comfortable. Outside of hotel is clean. Refrigerator didn't work very well, ac barely blew air and wasn't very cold, and the tv cycles on and off every 10 mins or so.

It was a good experience and the price was very reasonable but the rooms were older and in need of remodeling, there was no mirror on door but the screws were still in door, wallpaper was peeling and paint was old, hard to turn water on in shower
"Every week"
I stay at this hotel every week. The room's not are good and clean. Staff is great. If you ever need any help, staff will help you in anyway they can. They have a swimming pool. There's a steak house next door. Don't hesitate to book.

"Nice clean hotel"
The hotel rooms were clean and the breakfast was good. The only issue I had were the room curtains did not block the sunlight from coming into the room. I also felt like someone could see into the room because I could see out of the room very clearly.

"Rob North Texas"
This was my first stay at this hotel and I was happy. I have stayed at many Best western hotels and this one is very good as well. the internet was very fast the rooms were very clean and quite. There is a Steak House right next to this hotel. It was so good I ate there both nights Very good Steaks. The breakfast at the hotel was very good with a large selection. There were Several TV stations many premium Channels. I will stay at this hotel every time I come to this area.

"Best Western - Pampa Location"
I had no issues during my stay at this location. It was everything as advertised. My primary reason for travel was photography and at night so I slept during the day. I had no problem because of noise or disruptions. The breakfast was always served enough to keep the line full but not so full that things that were supposed to be warm were cold. I'd choose this Best Western again if in the area.

"Always a great visit"
Staff is friendly and helpful. The are prompt with request. I visit here once a month and never encountered a problem. It is located near gas stations, Walmart and a resturant so very convient location. Room is always clean

It was leisure all the way with this outdoor hotel. The beautifull flower bed in front and the courtyard on the inside, the staff was great ,I really enjoyed my stay.Istay.I am looking forward to this summer when I can enjoy the pool.

"Excellent front desk man "
Check in was a breeze... the guy at the front was exceptionally friendly and helpful... rooms were very clean.... hot water seemed to take a while to get hot at the sink, but no biggie... onsite BBQ pit as well.... definitely a nice place to stay for the price

"Budget Best Western good value for money"
Standard 2 storey BW standard size rooms with wash basin in room and small bathroom, just as you would expect in this location. Rooms you can pull up to the door. Nice grassed area around the hotel but need tables and chairs to enjoy and perhaps trees for shade in the summer, more could be made of this. Small outdoor pool seasonal. Well received at reception, breakfast provided standard. Grill and bar next door. Very much a budget hotel so don't expect too much but great value for a one night stay

"First stay at Best Western"
Opted for this hotel because we found a deal online and thought we would check it out. Somehow, we expected more than we got. Room was average - clean and comfortable but we've stayed in better in other hotel chains. Room was cold when we weren't running the heater but boiling when the heater was running. Couldn't strike a happy medium. Breakfast was pretty standard. Wouldn't go out of my way to use Best Western again.

"Front Desk Check in A +"
The front desk clerk at check in at this hotel was excellent. Sadly otherwise the room was dirty and the TV didn't work properly. The price was on the low end of some of our other rooms this vacation. All things considered this is a solid average hotel with one bright shining star in a front desk check in clerk.

"My stay"
Good place to stay over night. Staff was friendly. My heater didn't work in my room so I got a new room...overall pleased with my stay. The breakfast was pretty good. The only thing i didn't like was no hot tub!

"Everything I needed"
Friendly staff, very helpful. Quality exceeded expectations. Clean, well cared for room. Would have liked more privacy with window curtains. Room was convenient with outside entry directly from my car.

"GREAT PLACE TO STAY IN PAMPA, TX"
Friendly and Helpful Staff. Room and amenities are good. Texas Rose Steakhouse Restaurant next door for Lunch and Supper. Easy access to downtown and rest of the area for other Dining options. Nice larger digital TV. Plenty in room Coffee packets in room. I have stayed at this Best Western many times and I will stay there again when business takes me that way.

"Stay at a different hotel"
Hotel rooms were very dirty (thick dust, spiders, hair, mildew) and did not seem to have been cleaned properly in months. There was dust on every surface, hair in the tub and on the bathroom floor, and holes in the bedding.

"Ugh!!!"
Key card had to be re-programmed each time we left the room. Breakfast hot food were COLD.... Bathroom not cleaned. Dead bug in bath room when we checked in on Friday, still there when we checked out on Sunday... Coffee, shampoo, cups not replenised Saturday morn. Bed not made Saturday morn, but trash was emptied. New towels hung. Handicapped accessible room NOT total handicapped accessible...

"Another Very Good Stay Overnight"
Overnight stay again at BW in Pampa, TX. An older looking hotel on the outside but the rooms and lobby have been freshly remodeled on the inside. Only an outdoor pool that had been closed and cover even though it had be 95 degrees that day, so no exercise. No hot tube either, just a pool.

"Friendly staff, room was acceptable."
We stayed here one night on our way through town. The grounds were in good repair and looked very nice. The room was fair, but I think the door got left open when it was being cleaned so we had a number of flies to deal with. Pets are allowed at this hotel and there were some that barked for a bit around mid-night which was disappointing.

"for the $, this place was GREAT!"
stayed here 10 nights in august/september 2017. was offered a weekly rate, which was very reasonable. beverly at the front desk was a delight to work with. bfast was decent enough. the restaurant next door (texas rose) was fantastic! housekeeping was good. i also had a problem with the files. i suspect that housekeeping leaves the door open when cleaning and this lets them in. i don't know that for a fact, but it seems to make sense. for the money, you couldn't beat this place. i would definitely stay here again and would also definitely recommend to anyone.

"Seeing that grandbaby"
Overall it was a nice, clean, quite, older looking hotel. The Flys were our only real issue - we read the other reviews and afew said something about that but we didn't think much about it BUT they were right. We couldn't get rid of them and could not figure out were they were coming from. We figured out they were aware of it though because they did supply our room with a flyswatter. The Breakfast was not anything exciting and very limited but overall it was good for the price

"Older BW Hotel"
This hotel is not too bad but it could really use a remodeling/ updating or two. All rooms are only accessible from the exterior of the building and the breakfast/dining area is a very small and cramped room.

"Overcharged"
Motel was fine. No complaints about the accommodation. Breakfast better than most. However I was using points and the room was supposed to be free. My credit card was charged anyway. There is a restaurant next door.

"Lord of The Flies"
Loved the grills and the 8 foot pool, Only problem I really had is that upon arrival there were about 8 flies in my room. After about an hour of trying to flying knee kick them all to death, went down to ask for a flyswatter.

"It's an old motel....."
Spent an hour killing 8 flies in our room.....started with one....they must have been getting in from somewhere. Looks like the doors have never been cleaned,the shower curtain was dirty, there was something white dripped down and dried on the bed ruffle and the ice machine looked like it was right out of a horror movie! The young brunette who checked us in was professional and a delight.

"Northgate Inn"
A regular destination for us, Northgate Inn is one of our "homes away from home" when we visit our granddaughter and her family. Rebecca quickly checked us in with an accessible room. A comfortable, quiet room and a tasty, hot breakfast made each day great. Looking forward to the next time through.

"Bugs flies tv issues couldn't shower had to change rooms twice felt like I was at a roach motel"
Didn't trust the linning slept w clothes on afraid to fall asleep due to bugs and flies .... staff and mgr said nothing they can do about it. I had to purchase my own bug spray then next day spray was given to me

Incredible breakfast and very comfortable updated rooms. Excellent value for the low, low price. And if that weren't enough, the best steakhouse in Texas is right next door. Very helpful and cheerful staff that are genuinely trying to make your stay pleasant. We have stayed there for years on our trips now.

"Business in the Panhandle"
I stayed at this hotel during a business trip to the panhandle. It is an older hotel that has had a "facelift". Best Western has done all that they could with it, but it is very tired. The rooms are really small. This is not a problem until you get one big person or two people into it. Then it becomes a definite problem. The rooms were clean and everything except the HVAC unit worked as expected. Perhaps I've just come to expect too much, having stayed in other Best Western Hotels in West Texas. It wasn't a bad experience, just not what I expected. It is a good place if all you want to do is come in and go straight to bed and sleep. The staff was excellent. I cannot fault them at all. They were courteous, caring and the breakfast was one of the better ones that I've seen in the hotels I've stayed in.

"Best Western Northgate Inn"
Overall it was an enjoyable experience. The hotel is older but has been updated. I was really impressed with the internet speed. Not super fast but fast enough to where I was not lagging. Hotel is in walking distance to a super Walmart. Only complaint I have really is the size of the pillows. Very small.

"BEST Best Western"
I have stayed at many BW hotels and this one is the best I have ever stayed with. The room was very clean and well appointed. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and eager to assist when asked a question. The manager should give his employees a big pat on the back for a job well done during a very busy local high school graduation weekend. They even had breakfast ready early Monday morning, recognizing that many graduation visitors would be headed out of town. Some of your other hotels need to visit this location and take notes on how to run a first class hotel business.

"Good place to stay"
I stayed here over night while traveling through. It is a nice, clean and quiet place. The rooms are nice and clean and good size. They have a steak house with the motel but I chose to eat at a BBQ place. Wrong move, should have stayed with the steak house. Over all, this is a good motel with a good value.

"Birthday Party 2017"
We had excellent service from hotel staff, a most comfortable room and beds, and a hearty breakfast each morning. The room was very homey and the bathroom was the best. Great experience! We'd recommend this motel to family and friends.

"Definitely Stay Here"
We chose this hotel because we were traveling with our dog. They did not blink an eye at us having a pet. The room was very clean and the bed was comfy. The coffee and breakfast were surprisingly good. The staff was helpful and kind. The building itself is nothing to write home about, but the grounds were some of the cleanest I have ever seen for a hotel of this price range. We definitely recommend this hotel if you're traveling through the area and need a hotel room.

"Up in the air"
I had a few bad experiences here. The sink leaked right into my bag and was never fixed. I stayed here 2 weeks. The rate changed for the second half. Wanted a non refundable pet charge and im a diamond elite reward member. Had a few of my prescriptions disappear mysteriously. Now the good...its conveniently located off the highway right in front of walmart. Its is clean and pet friendly. The breakfast buffet is quite large. The staff...for the most part...are quite friendly. I have stayed in much worse but i have stayed in much better staffed!!

"Best receptionist I've ever dealt with period!"
The lady at the front desk was very helpful and cared a lot about the guests! She went way out of her way to help me and I thank her for that! The rooms were very clean and parking was good. I've looked at a bunch of BW and they have all been run down and nasty but this one tops them all by far! It was a great place to stay. It was quite also.

"Traveling with dogs."
This was a very dog friendly hotel with a nice area for walking/exercising our two Labs. Not an issue with traffic so we could let them run off leash. Also a good restaurant next door. Staff was very friendly and room clean and accessible.

"Great hotel for the money"
Really enjoyed our stay, we had no heat at home because of a ice storm, so we got a room so I could shower and just getaway from the stress of the problems at home ( no gas, no heat). We had free wi-fi, free breakfast, which was really good, great customer service!

"Excellent Value and Very Comfortable - Highly Recommend"
I have been to this hotel twice now, once in the summer around July or August and then about a week ago - end of November. Both times, I was very happy with my experience. The first time, I had a great breakfast there, too. The second time, I used the internet and it was very fast. The rooms are clean and the amenities are great, the room temperature is perfect, the hotel is nice and quiet. The staff both times were so helpful and nice and made me feel welcome and appreciated. During my second stay, the door to the room kept sticking but it worked and I need to report it to them so they can fix it. Amazing Value!

"Hospitality at it's best"
Extremely satisfied you can't go wrong with BW, the employees are very good and nice people. There is a shopping center in walking distance plus Walmart. There is a great restaurant next door that has great food and choices.

"Worst stay"
While I always stay at a Best Western this was awful when I checked in the lady up front wouldn't even get off her cell phone then the room smell was awful the door lock did not work and when we got up in the morning the sink was clogged and the shower would NOT work.....we reported to front desk and got an oh well kind of attitude which was extremely upsetting......we went to have breakfast but it was very unappealing so we just left hungry and feeling dirty with no I'm sorry or anything. Will never do that again.

Room was too small for the amount of furniture and arrangement. Faulty key card lock. Problems with coordinating TV, cable, and remote. The room was clean and stocked with everything needed. It was quiet with the A/C working well. Had ample parking.

"Great Location - Good Price"
In Pampa for Business. This Property is located very close to where I work. It's an older Motel with a little outdated decor, but is kept very clean and functional. If you're a Trucker, there's plenty of room to park a Truck. Pool looks inviting, but did not use, since I was there on Business. I would definitely stay here again.

"Pilot Car Report"
Clean and well kept property. Room was clean with comfortable mattress, unfortunately bed frame was broken and slept at a little angle. Clean bathroom and well stocked. Nice pool area & open till 10:00 pm. Is a good value on the road.

"Still a very good place to stay!"
Every thing was clean, nice and neat. The free morning breakfast was good too with lots of different items to eat. Didn't try out the pool and still wish they had a hot tub to soak in after a long days travel. It is also located right next to a Wal-Mart if you need anything extra.

"Worst Western"
Very disappointed. We had to go get clean sheets because the ones on the beds were not clean. There was a big wad of hair stuck to the side of the tub, and the bathroom floor had dirty corners. The shower was a pain to turn on. Breakfast was good.

"Pampa Stay"
I spent two nights in a week and had different rooms each night. Both rooms were comfortable and met my needs. The clerks were attentive to my needs and very courteous. A shopping center is within walking distance. I will stay here when I am in Pampa in the future provided a room is available.

"Okay for Crashing"
The hotel has many amenities friendly to a traveler. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The wifi worked much better than most establishments that offered so called "high-speed" internet. The TV programming was fairly descent (but not HD at the time of this review). The rooms (two separate rooms) did not feel particularly clean. The desks had stains (could just be water marks). The shower was difficult to operate. It was necessary to call the front desk for the operating instructions (not kidding). It is an okay place to crash but there are better establishments in the area.

"Bad beds/dirty floors"
Next time I will make a different choice for lodging in Pampa TX. Front desk person nice but room was dirty...especially bathroom floor. Bed uncomfortable and loud! I had stayed in Best Western hotel in Dallas a couple of nights before and it was so much nicer! Beds were super comfortable. Room in Dallas was not very clean...especially the floor. There was a used piece of chewing gum stuck to the shower wall!

I stayed here for business and it was beyond bad. The front desk lady was confused and unaccomadating. There were bygs, both alive and dead all over the room. The whole place had a filthy, sleazy feel. I would have demanded my money back if it weren't my company paying for it

"Good Place To Stay"
I've tried two other hotels in Pampa, they were ok, but the Best Western has been the best in my opinion. It is quiter. The breakfast always has plenty of food. The room is kept very clean. The bed is just right for me. I will continue to use this Best Western as long as I have business here.

"BEST WESTERN - PAMPA, TEXAS"
Even though this is an older property, it was a really good place to stay. The staff was exceptional - very helpful - and cordial. Would consider staying there again when in that area. Rates were very reasonable.

"Good nights rest!"
Beds are very comfy, no outside noise, thick curtains. Also have microwave, fridge and all good quality shampoo, conditioner, coffee is great, too! The breakfast closes at 10:00AM! It really good with sausage, eggs, cereal, muffins, orange juice, milk, etc. My kids love the Texas shape waffle maker!!

"Jan Business Trip"
Location very convenient to where I was working (Medical Clinic). An older Property, that's been well maintained, but showing it's age a little. Pool looked inviting, but weather not right for swimming.

"good place to stay"
is a good place to stay the only thing was the price they tell one and charge another when you get there i have stay at this one many times is the least expensive i do love the king size bed they do have to fix their showers a little bit

"Nice Stay"
Beds were comfortable & room was very clean. Staff was very friendly. Just started a small job in Pampa & decided to give Best Western a shot. Steak House next door had excellent food. Will definitely stay here on future visits

"Not impressed"
When checking into room there was a filthy towel on the towel rack with a clean hand towel and washcloth over it by the sink. Only ONE bar of soap that I needed to move back and forth between the shower and the sink so I could wash my hands. Coffee supplies were not restocked and used coffee cups were left on the counter and not replaced. Breakfast is OK only if you just eat the pastries. Stay away from the overcooked half rubbery, half crunchy omelets. This is not a quiet motel so if you are a light sleeper you will not get any sleep.

"An oasis in the midst of North Texas"
Strategically placed between Denver and the Houston/Austin area this is a great mid way spot. Great pillows! Friendly staff and awesome breakfast. Make sure to visit the steakhouse next door. I can't find a better place for a steak than that spot. I would definitely go out of my way to stay here!

"Very nice!"
Nice, quiet room overlooking the courtyard. The breakfasts were wonderful breakfasts, and the attendant was very attentive. The staff were without exception friendly and helpful, including the housekeeping staff. At first we didn't care for the location north of town, but it turned out to be convenient, as it was near the by-pass highway which helped us several times to avoid the traffic and lights.

"Great place to stay"
My sister and I were in Pampa for family reasons and we decided on the Best Western for value and its good rep. The customer service was excellent. The staff were professional, polite, pleasant, well dressed and friendly. I would stay here again, without hesitation.

"Nice and Relaxing"
When you walk in from a long day of driving the aroma you encounter is intoxicating. It make you feel at ease. then you're greeted by a very friendly and helpful clerk who gets you checked in fast and will answer any question you have about the area. Very nice.

great place and people , good location to visit north texas area went to cross minstries, amarillo, panhandle while deer borger and spearman. area also has the great bbq place out hwy 60.. born and raised in area long time ago with pioneer family

"Even next to ice machine, quiet!"
I came to town for a funeral, and BW just wrapped me up in a comforting hug. The room was comfortable (my wife needs it dark to sleep well) cool, and quiet. Breakfast was satisfying, the wifi worked, and my shirt got spruced up thanks to the ironing board & iron. (I have no idea if the TV worked, since i never bothered to take the remote out of its sanitized bag. Nice touch!)

"Nice stay & Pet Friendly"
Little higher price than I would expect in Pampa, TX but the staff was friendly, the room was comfortable, albeit it did smell a little different. Pool was nice, Room was quiet at night & breakfast was very good & included eggs & meat. #PetFriendly with a nice grassy area to walk them on. We would stay again.

"Amazing staff, clean rooms"
The staff were over the top helpful. The room was clean. A bit pricey for a no frills room at $105. If it wasn't for the room price it would be a five star rating. They had a decent breakfast, it has a great location next to a 24 hour gym, a really good restaurant, rated 4 stars on trip advisor.
