There is no free parking. Hotel staff told us to park 3 blocks away at harbour, where there is a charge for parking. Staff told us not to worry about fines as the parking attendants were lazy Street parking is free up to 9 am. Have fun finding a spot Wifi access info provided from QR code is not correct Hallway carpets were filthy Loose tin banging on side of building all night Breakfast area was crowded, even thou we had to register and were told a maximum of 15 persons per seating time - bacon tasted rancid

Nice little gem this hotel everything you require to make the stay homely. Very helpful staff and the owner will walk coals to make you happy "Quote YOU are not here for us!! We are here for YOU! " best little quip I've ever heard and I've worked away all my life. The rooms are a little smaller than the big chain brands but here you get that family feeling! Far out weighs the massive cold room you can't work the heating!! Its clean and neat here we have a Gym and a Sauna both free!! Fantastic It also has a central location to all other amenities and plenty to see during a stroll. 10 out 10 from me

Located in the heart of the city, very clean and efficient. I enjoyed the sauna and free parking provided by the hotel. Variety of breakfasts were provided in paper cups a day before during pandemic period ;-)

This hotel is very cozy, very clean, has super healthy breakfast options, very friendly owners and staff (met Patrick, Nicholas, and Erika - also very helpful in providing local "tourist tips"), great access to the gym (also very clean and equipment in very good working condition), walking distance to centrum, coffee shops, to our daughter's apartment, and rink! Good parking area. It has a high end spa area (jacuzzi tub and 1st class sauna). We stayed for 6 nights, every night was very quiet. Rooms cleaned well during the day! As we had to check out early in the a.m., a breakfast bag was prepared for us! So special! This hotel helped make out stay in Ovik very special and welcoming! Would highly recommend it to anyone travelling in the area! Tack sa mycket Sure Hotel!!

This is a smaller hotel but don't let that deter you. It has clean and neat rooms with friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant is really nice. Good breakfast and open all day for sandwiches and sweets. I would never stay anywhere else in Ornskoldsvik!

Sleep is important to me, and a TV blasting at five in the morning definitely places a wet blanket squarely over the rest of my week. It seems a previous guest had used the TV as an alarm clock, a function I didn't even know existed. A note, or even better, to ensure it is off as part of the room cleaning checklist, would be a welcome change. The room was tidy and clean enough except for some dust balls under the bed and a thick hair, which best case was a chest hair, on prominent display on the bathroom shelf. This is the first trip I have decided not to pack shampoo and shower soap as I have not come across a single hotel in the last 10 years where this has not been provided, and of course this is what happened this time. There is a hand soap dispenser over the sink though. Breakfast is offered in a cafe in the same building. As far as I could tell there was no warm breakfast to be had, and I could find two kinds of margarine but no butter. The cafe appears to have a religious affiliation as there are bible verses on the walls and promotional material in the literature racks. If you don't want to give away your facebook details to get wifi access make sure to ask for a code at reception, it is not on the info sheet provided at check-in. When I booked there were several other similarly priced hotels to choose from. I don't know how they compare, but I do know that at this price I expect a bit more from hotels in other cities in Sweden.
