"Very Pleasant Stay!!"
We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights when we took a friend/family cruise. I was skeptical booking because you just never know. But upon arriving I was out at ease. The customer service was so polite and courteous. Our room was clean, the beds super comfy. It was a nice surprise when we went down for breakfast and found a hit breakfast with scrambled eggs, egg omelet, sausage, bacon, the usual stuff and even fresh fruit. The ladies cleaning the dining area was so nice and actually took the time to talk to you.
"I will never go back there again the service was bad bad bad"
I want my money back that's that don't want to talk about it , my feelings got hurt n it was my Birthday, I have a pacemaker a heart condition , I am making a report to the BBB today on how I was treated there
"Decent location to Universal"
Decent place for the money. Rooms were nice. Very quiet. I would suggest a room farther down the hall to distance from street noise but rooms very quiet. Parking under the building is a plus and it's free. On same road as Iniversal as long as u can follow it. Breakfast was a miss but it's there. Lobby felt secure and parking are pretty well lit. No restaurant in the area close to main roads. Nice sized bathroom
"Business Trip"
We have some business at the same time personal trip on this town, I am a Best Western loyal customer, because of their service and cleanliness at the same time their free breakfast, and this location did not failed me. It is was I am expected.
"Outstanding Service*****"
OUTSTANDING SERVICE IN ALL AREAS. I extremely accommodated by the front desk staff "Sonny". The service was exceptional, and went above beyond to help me. Room was clean and I have no complaints with the services I received. I stayed here for two days cause the price is reasonable. I will definitely stay here again and refer this hotel to my friends and family. A billion thanks to your staff Sonny.
"amazing customer service"
so far every staff member i came across through my stay has gone above and beyond to help me and my family. i felt welcomed and my family felt safe. thank you guys best customer service i have ever experienced.
"Fantastic Stay! Our new area go-to :)"
We stayed at the BW Burbank Airport while in town to visit our son. Great experience! Don't let the outer neighborhood fool you. This will be our new go-to “home base” for future visits to the area. Friendly staff (All-from everyone at the front desk, to housekeeping and the helpful breakfast room attendant:). Comfy, quiet, clean, spacious rooms (& a bathroom large enough to spread out all my toiletries, maybe even better than I actually can at home!). Our 3rd floor room appeared to be recently remodeled (surprised-very nice!). Free, secure parking, free WiFi, free breakfast (including waffle iron, eggs & sausage), clean fitness room, fridge & micro in room (this seems to becoming a rarity in many hotels we visited during our travels recently). After visiting hotels in every price point/quality level this summer (4 Star, Boutique, Resorts, etc.), we felt the most comfortable here. Impressed! A lot to offer for the value. Thanks!
"In/ Out"
The Staff (Michael, Sonny and Rina) Went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Extremely accommodating and allowed us to Check-In early. I could see myself returning to this Best Western location.
"Not Impressesed..."
This hotel seemed like a good value, I wouldn't recommend staying here. The location is in a rough area of Burbank / Hollywood. For example, a car was on fire in the middle of the road just a block from the hotel. Police sirens were going all day and all night. The room had a terrible view (see picture). The carpet looked worn and dirty. The bed was ok. The bathroom was fine. It had a leaky faucet that was fixed immediately. The breakfast was not good. Eggs and sausage were available, but looked and tasted awful. Waffle was all right. The staff was kind and helpful. I did like the free parking, although double-parking was necessary and we had to leave our car key at the front desk. There's just much better hotels in far better locations.

"NICE"
Very well kept little place , very quite , place was clean and friendly . Coffee that was served during breakfast was very good also I would like to see more variety for breakfast and maybe as you check in a little snack as well. :)
"Valued Stay"
The property was nice and clean. Breakfast was fresh. Location was close to where we needed to go. Bed was very comfortable. Staff was friendly and very accomodating. Definitely worth the value I paid for the stay.
"Nice affordable hotel"
Nice clean facility. Comfortable room. Great shower with lots of water pressure. Parking can be a little difficult so arrive early. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I've stayed here before and will do it again.
"My incredibly picky parents loved it here"
Sunny is a gem of a human. Made my elderly parents feel safe and at ease after a long day of uncertain travel, where their reservation at another hotel was cancelled without their knowledge and they were lost and uncertain where to go. Sunny found them a room when so many hotels in the area were sold out, and made sure they were comfortable. Even called me back, even though I live in another state, to assure me they are okay. I was so worried about them and I was so grateful for his extra care and concern. He was so warm and caring and they couldn't stop talking about how kind Sunny is the whole time they were there, even after they came home, and how great the hotel was--clean and with a nice breakfast. This is Four Seasons level service, but it comes from the heart.
"Decent stay"
Friendly staff - breakfast is sufficient for most - parking is interesting - pretty clean - no equipment in fitness work - location is a bit uncertain as surrounding areas aren't the cleanest, but can get to attractions easily.
"Good Hotel in a questionable area."
This hotel is clean, well staffed, breakfast was one of the best, but the location is a little sketchy. Nice indoor parking/ covered parking. I won't walk anywhere at night in the area or at least after dark.
"Consistent stay as always!"
I can always count on Best Western. Don't let the location or outside of this hotel fool you; while it could use a new coat of paint, it's what's inside that matters - a large, clean bed, clean bathroom, good amenities. Incredible, friendly staff, good, strong coffee and an ample breakfast. This was the perfect home base for a local labor-intensive business trip, and I slept and ate well. Whenever I'm not sure where to stay, I choose Best Western, and have never regretted it. Thank you!
"Buyer beware"
We had a reservation made in March for April vacation. When calling before the trip the reservation wasn't found (good thing we checked). We had a confirmation number and name of person we spoke with for 2 queen bed and non smoking room. Arrived at 10pm on a Saturday, the room had ONE bed (for 4 adults) and REEKED of cigarette smoke. We were told that was the reservation we made (no it wasn't and we had the original confirmation to prove it), and sorry, nothing we can do...so at 10pm in a very seedy area, we are trying to find another hotel. Thankfully Hilton came through for us, paid more, but we were treated so much better. When calling to complain to management we were told this was our fault, again even with a confirmation number and email that proved it was NOT our fault. Horrible customer service. We will never stay here or for that matter ANY Best Western, you don't t know what you will get!
Best Western Burbank Airport Inn, General Manager at Best Western Burbank Airport Inn, responded to this review

"Enjoyed"
The location isn't the best, but the hotel itself feels safe. You have to go through the lobby to get to the room. The parking is covered and inside the structure. The rooms were clean, only thing there was an scent that wasn't pleasing when we walked in, but it went away. Overall, I would stay here again.
"Close to Many Attractions"
No Frills hotel that is close to many attractions with free parking and breakfast. Parking is covered and seemed to be pretty safe but if you are double parked the keys needs to dropped off at the front desk. Bed was uncomfortable and the AC/heater was too loud that it had to turned off. Breakfast is okay- No bagels, bread or milk.
"Great budget hotel"
Traveling with my daughter who was working on a set in the area. Looking for a budget friendly hotel that was decent. This fit the bill. Very clean, comfortable room. Nice lobby very friendly staff. Would stay again if in the area.
"Great place to stay at a fair price"
Good convenient location. 10 mins to airport. Room was good with plenty of parking. Right next to a yum yum donuts (yay!!)…friendly staff and clean comfortable room. There is road sounds from traffic on the street side so if that bothers you, they can place you away from that.
"Very nice hotel"
The hotel was clean and the beds very comfortable. It was far enough out of Hollywood that the traffic was not bad, yet close enough to get anywhere easily. Great location for Universal Studios and the original farmer's market as well as the studio tours! Rooms were large and the fridge and microwaves were a great asset.
"Decent rooms, good location"
Decent hotel with friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Plenty of shops close by (7/11, Mexican market) and a few decent restaurants. Good sleep quality, no noise. Microwave, iron, ironing board, coffee maker, hairdryer, safe in room. breakfast is acceptable, nothing special but adequate. Enjoyed my few days there.
"Burbank Best Western"
Its your basic Hotel, & it does that well. Its just far enough away from the Burbank Airport to be very quiet. There are restaurants & stores next door, so you don't have to drive around. The breakfast was good, the beds were comfy.
"Not the greatest"
Don't really know how there are 3 stars aside from the fact that it exists. Not the greatest area and despite being titled Burbank Inn, resides further in North Hollywood and not in the greatest area of NoHo. Not quite what we expected due to the price and selling points (proximity) not matching what we got. Unless you are here to visit anything specifically in NoHo, then everything will be 40-60 min away with a good day of traffic. There is no pool, no water/ice station, and breakfast is very limited (even considering COVID-19 restrictions). Also be aware that there is double parking so you would leave your keys at the front desk for them to move your car if the person behind you leaves before you. The staff are friendly, as always, and the room is clean. To be honest though, I could have paid the same price and gotten a nicer place even if it was a little further than what my plans called for, which would have been worth it in retrospect. Overall, good for a place to stay if there is not much else available and for 1 night maybe as you travel through.
Kevin Peries, General Manager at Best Western Burbank Airport Inn, responded to this review
Dear guest, Thank you for your review. We strive to deliver a great guest experience, but it sounds like your time with us did not meet your expectations. We apologize for the disappointment you describe with the location, ice machine, breakfast options and not having a pool. Thank you for considering our accommodation for your stay in North Hollywood and taking the time to share your feedback especially on our staff and cleanliness of the room. We really appreciate both.
"Good value"
The staff is very friendly and helpful, room very comfortable. Location is good for the airport but neighborhood is a bit iffy... just be aware as you're moving about. PROs: proximity to airport, value, room comfort, staff CONs: parking is very limited (you may have to leave your key with front desk if you get in after the small space is full; they will move your car if another needs to get out), shower is quite dark and needs non-slip installed
Kevin Peries, General Manager at Best Western Burbank Airport Inn, responded to this review
Thank you for taking the time to review us! We're glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again some time soon.
"Hotel good, neighborhood bad"
Nothing at all wrong with hotel itself -- staff were courteous and helpful, room and facility were comfortable and clean. However, the North Burbank area looks like a war zone and felt like one: one night, a police helicopter with a searchlight circled the area for over two hours looking for somebody or something in the neighborhoods all around us. That said, I don't think we personallywere ever at risk, but not a place for the faint-hearted.
Kevin Peries, General Manager at Best Western Burbank Airport Inn, responded to this review
Thank you for reviewing us, it's goo d to hear you liked the hotel, and I agree the neighborhood isn't what it used to be, but hopefully now that the economy is starting to recover, things will get back to what it used to be. In the meantime we will continue to do our best and hope those around us will do the same.
"Clean, comfortable, but could be more Covid safe"
My family felt comfortable here from the moment we parked to when we left the parking structure. The rooms were clean and quiet. The only complaint we had was the breakfast grab bags meant for social distancing. My husband went out first to get 4 for us and our 2 kids but he was told he can only take one. I went out a little later to talk to them and some for the kids, but the lobby was crowded with a bunch of maskless unattended children that were too young for vaccinations. He gave me the extra bags without question. There was like 8 children running around and climbing the furniture with no masks and touching everything while I waited for the staff to bring the breakfast bags. I don't understand why my husband wasn't allowed to get our breakfast but I was allowed to take extra bags for the kids. I was surrounded by potential Covid vectors while waiting for the bags that he wasn't allowed to get. They could solve this issue by looking up the room number in the system to check how many guests are staying the night rather than making everyone crowd into the lobby area to get one bag each.
Kevin Peries, General Manager at Best Western Burbank Airport Inn, responded to this review
First and foremost on behalf of my staff and those rude guests, I would like to apologize. I think the front desk agent at that time was mistaken (I think it was a new hire working that morning), as we normally allow our guests to take the appropriate amount of grab and go bags back to their room, regarding those other guests not wearing masks, we always ask everyone both staff and guests, to always wear a mask in all public areas of the hotel, but we unfortunately cannot force guests to do so, especially kids. I wish people would take this issue seriously by always wearing their masks, but we also have limitations on what our guests do as this always becomes a touchy subject, we wish nothing but the best for all of our guests' health and well being and the same for our staff, hopefully others will read your review and my response and will kindly wear their masks when they come visit us! Thanks again and hope your and your family the very best!
"Very clean hotel"
The hotel was very nice and a clean, nicely decorated room. However, it was not in the best location. Not far from airport but not a very nice neighborhood. We felt a bit uneasy staying there. It turned out fine.
Kevin Peries, General Manager at Best Western Burbank Airport Inn, responded to this review
We're very glad to hear you ended up enjoying your stay, and we hope to see you again soon!
"SFV stay"
Room was nice clean and quiet. Staff was very nice. Hotel location was close to Sherman Way exit off of the 170 Hollywood Fwy. Many places to eat were near by. Parking was good. Surrounding neighborhood was a bit trashy and rundown.
Kevin Peries, General Manager at Best Western Burbank Airport Inn, responded to this review
Thank you for taking the time to review us, we hope to see you again soon!
"It will do"
It had enough parking around the time I booked but I can tell were they booked to the tee parking would be an issue, tub was dirty and I was so looking forward to soaking after being out and about all day, they were supposed to have packaged breakfast and in the few nights I was there I was never offered one. It nevertheless served its purpose for me so it will do.
Kevin Peries, General Manager at Best Western Burbank Airport Inn, responded to this review
I'm sorry the tub was not to your expectations, was this issue brought to the front desk's attention?
"Okay"
Not HOT advertised breakfast! The breakfast consisted of a muffin, a small chew bar, and a small apple juice, in a brown lunch bag. The employees are not excited about their job. You don't feel welcome here! The location is in the middle of crime central...scary neighborhood! Lots of sirens!
Kevin Peries, General Manager at Best Western Burbank Airport Inn, responded to this review
Unfortunately we are not able to resume our continental breakfast until the County of Los Angeles as well as the City of Los Angeles grants us permission to open our breakfast room for the free continental breakfast, until then we're trying the best we can to with the rules and regulations put into place by the city and county of Los Angeles. We hope to have the opportunity open up our breakfast room as soon as possible and we hope you come stay with us again when that happens.
"You won't be disappointed!"
While the property is nice and clean, and the location is convenient to everything from the the Burbank Airport to entertainment spots in the valley, but the staff is the standout!!! Michael, Will and Trishan are superstars! These three certainly understand the importance of customer service. If they can accommodate you, they will. I have stayed here many times over the last year, and I have yet to be disappointed. I like the management style of the GM, Kevin, as well. Enjoy and stay safe.
"Good hotel"
The hotel lobby was nice and clean. The staff was nice. The tub didn't have a stopper so I couldn't take a bath. I was looking forward to a bubble bath. The area is ok, a lot of foot traffic but I didn't feel unsafe. The security guard was very attentive.
"Clean rooms and convenience to airport"
We chose this hotel due to convenience of the airport nearby and were quite satisfied with our overnight stay. At first we were given a room in which the a/c did not work. But the staff immediately moved us to a bigger room, which was really an upgrade, and offered us a discount for the inconvenience. Aside from this detail, the rooms were clean, nicely decorated, and the staff was friendly and helpful.
"Disappointing"
Don't recommend staying here unless you like rude maid service and an even ruder front desk. Asked them to change the sheets and they ignored our request. When we brought the issue to the front desk he was very condescending and even threatened to cancel our room reservations for the following day instead of accommodating us since we are paying guests. Unless you like dirty sheets, rude customer service and a whatever hotel, highly don't recommend staying here. No respect. And we got a dirty look when we told the maid we extended our stay an additional day.
"Good location between Universal and Six Flags"
This hotel is in a good location if you are visiting Universal Studios and Six Flags. The rooms are super clean. The entire staff are super awesome. Good breakfast with a variety of choices. I would recommend it to anyone.
"Friendly, clean, close to airport"
I stayed here 3 nights while visiting in the LA area. The hotel staff were all friendly and very helpful, and the hotel was clean, well-maintained, and quiet. The room was clean, had good lighting, and was in good shape. The bed was very comfortable and the room had a refrigerator. It would be nice if breakfast started at 6AM on the weekends but 7AM seems to be the norm so no difference there, and they had a very good selection with hot food. The parking is somewhat limited but if you have to double-park you leave your keys so the staff can move the car (this happened to me and the other car was out of the way before i was ready to pull out.) I would definitely stay here again.
"Great Hotel Experience"
Our family was surprised by our stay here. The area may seem a little rough, but the hotel & the staff is an oasis. The property is Super clean. the rooms are VERY quiet (we had a crying baby next door, but didn't know about her until the next morning!). The staff is friendly and incredibly helpful. They saved our vacation crisis (we arrived in town to a different hotel w/o a reservation). This is a great home base while visiting the area!
"Wonderful Stay"
Laura, who was on duty in the breakfast room daily duing our stay, was extremely attentive to everyones needs. Constantly cleaning up and making sure all foods were replenished as necessary. She made our stay even more pleasurable. We understand she oversees the housekeeping and the cleanliness of the room and common areas was found to be exemplary. She is excellent at both her roles and this alone would make us recommend the hotel to others.
"Close and clean"
A good value for the stay compared to other hotel properties in the area. Parking can be tight, but staff will help where needed. Front desk was organized, ready for my arrival, and it was a quick in / out. Close to Burbank airport. Room has a small refrigerator and microwave, and wood slat blinds. Didn't hear much noise although the room was facing the street.
"Good place to stay for Universal Studios"
Stayed here with my granddaughter to go to Universal Studios Hollywood. Place is nice, staff friendly and helpful. Never had a problem with parking. A little street noise but that calms down at night. There's a liquor store to the right when you go out of hotel and around the corner, much closer then going across the street to 7-11, if you want soda, medicine, or water etc.
"A nice place"
Stayed her two nights while we roamed around town. Enjoyed the breakfast. Nice amenities and a comfy bed. This location has one elevator and it's by the front desk. Parking lot is small but never had a problem finding a spot.

"Well kept hotel and friendly staff"
We stayed here before the Rose Parade. Close to the Burbank airport and about 20 min from Rose Parade. Neighborhood is a little sketchy but never had any issues. Parking is in a garage on ground level. No issues with parking.
BWBurbankAirportInn, General Manager at Best Western Burbank Airport Inn, responded to this review
Thank for choosing our hotel for your stay, and we hope you had a great time at the Rose Parade!
"Great Hotel"
Hotel is located in an area fairly close to Burbank Airport. Parking is somewhat of a problem if they are busy. Hotel has been nicely redone and feels safe. Breakfast was excellent, hot and great selection, eggs and sausages were tasty! Gal that takes care of this does a great job! Very clean rooms, spacious bathroom. (stayed in a king room) Cleaning ladies were very accommodating and friendly too!!
BWBurbankAirportInn, General Manager at Best Western Burbank Airport Inn, responded to this review
Thanks for the detailed review, we actually haven't renovated yet and are actually planning some renovations for this year, we hope you get a chance to check them out once they're complete.
"Airport layover"
Although the neighborhood looked a little sketchy, I never felt unsafe & it was a nice stay. From the moment I checked in until I checked out the staff were so nice and accommodating. There is a fitness center and a hearty breakfast. I didn't fully understand the comment about "double parking" on the description until I got there. Basically there are 2 rows of parking and on one side you have to park in behind the vehicle parked in front of you. The person parked in front is basically trapped until the person parked behind them moved. I was dropped off and didn't have to utilize the parking I did witness their system and the staff keeps very good track of who is parked where to get cars moved if necessary. I used Uber and my ride to the airport was less than a cab @ only slightly more than $12 which included the airport fee. I would definitely stay here again.

It's awesome that you had a great stay, and we look forward to your future visit!
"Decent visit but could not get the service I wanted"
I have stayed here before and it was fine, with features I liked. This time the room was more beat up than others and I could not get a receipt, like I requested. I was told since I paid with a 3rd party they could give me no receipt, I politely tried other avenues like calling the manager. I was told he "might" be given the massage but the employee said he could not help me. I never did hear from the manager. Too bad , so sad.
BWBurbankAirportInn, General Manager at Best Western Burbank Airport Inn, responded to this review
Thank you for coming back to stay with us! I'm sorry you felt that way about the property seeming like it was a little worse for wear, as our property approaches its's 10 year anniversary this coming year, we will have some renovations completed and we hope you come back once they are complete. As for your receipt, As our front Desk Agent tried to explain to you, we cannot disclose a receipt to you as we have not charged you for your stay, the company you booked through collected payment for your stay, and we are charging them, therefore we cannot provide you with a receipt as you have not paid us for your stay and the company you paid should give you a receipt. If you have any further questions please reach out to me directly as it seems the contact information I have for you seems to be incorrect as I have tried to reach out to you with no success. Warmest regards and Happy Holidays! Kevin Peries
"Nice, fairly reasonable lodging in an expensive area"
This hotel is sort of stuck in between some other buildings with tight parking and no pool, but as an overnight lodging, is very adequate. The place is kept very clean and the breakfast is above average. The help has been there a long time and is very accommodating, particularly the lady in the breakfast room. The room blinds are wood and so do not shut out the light completely but I can get a good rest in the afternoon which is important as there are no busy streets right adjacent to the rooms.
BWBurbankAirportInn, General Manager at Best Western Burbank Airport Inn, responded to this review
Thank you for taking the time to review us, we do appreciate your business and hope to see you again sometime soon!
"Small but decent"
Parking wasnt the best. Sometimes requires double parking. All rooms are non smoking and no pets. There isnt a deposit. Rooms are a little pricey but cheap for being in north hollywood. Area can be a little loud with traffic. Seemed fairly safe. Breakfast was great wide selection. Will stay here again.
"Decent rooms, not great accessibility"
The mirror is too high in the bathroom to see any part of myself from my wheelchair. Best Western seems to think walk in shower is the same thing as a shower with a tub, as I've had this issue twice now at different hotels. The shower bench they have makes it so the shower curtain doesn't close, which floods the room. The rooms are not very quiet. The smoking area is inside the parking garage right next to the accessible spaces, which is not great for a wheelchair user with asthma like myself. On the plus side, they are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the wifi is as reliable as almost any hotel. Probably a decent place to stay for able bodied travelers.
BWBurbankAirportInn, General Manager at Best Western Burbank Airport Inn, responded to this review
Thank you for taking the time to post your review. I do apologize about the rooms and accessibility, Due to our hotel being so small we actually only a few rooms to meet ADA guidelines and we do have both roll in and walk in showers for our accessible rooms, but unfortunately our rooms with roll in showers were in fact sold out during your stay, which is why the room type you had only was for a walk in shower with accessible seat. As for the smoking area, currently as our property is so small we have one of the two smoking areas near the handicapped stall and we will look into moving the smoking area way as you suggested. We are truly sorry we were not able to impress you and hope you will consider us again next time you're in the area so that we can impress you with an excellent stay!
"conference"
The bathrooms could be safer with better skid material on the floor of the bathtub and grab bars in the bathtub area. Breakfast was very good and the breakfast attendant was friendly. Parking was odd in that some nights we had to double park and leave keys @ the desk. But thankful the parking was free.
BWBurbankAirportInn, General Manager at Best Western Burbank Airport Inn, responded to this review
Thank you for the suggestion, as we are approaching our 10 year anniversary we are planning a few renovations to spruce the place up a little and this will be one item we consider.
"Comfortable rooms!"
Nice place for a comfortable stay! No pool but a nice Continental Breakfast! Parking is limited, but if you park someone in at night, you just leave your keys with the front desk attendant and they will move cars accordingly! Very friendly staff!

"Burbank trip"
Lankershim Blvd., in that area, is an old industrial/commercial area (car repair shops, Budget rental storage area, 1940s and 50s shopping areas) adjacent to residential areas. It's 3 miles from the airport, no obvious public transportation or light rail nearby, but it does have ethnic resturatns within a few blocks (Ciba's, a popular Japanese restaurant, Jimmy's burgers which has breakfast, some Hispanic foods, a Guatemalan/Salvadorian restaurant, and a Hispanic seafood restaurant but you have to look. The hotel was very quiet, the rooms nice, but no pool, outside patio, or anything that took advantage of the southern Californian weather or mountains. There really was nothing to see from the hotel. The price was comparable to hotels on the west side of the airport which are more what we expect.

"Nice hotel in a not so nice area"
Very happy with the hotel, great staff, very nice room, just a few minutes from the Burbank airport. Not in a great area however and no good restaurants nearby. Parking was limited inside the parking garage and some people had to double park. I was reluctant to leave and vacate my good parking spot so I ordered through doordash instead. Nice place just not in a good place.

"Best hotel in LA"
Amazing staff very helpful. Amazing value. Breakfasts excellent. Lovely and clean, comfortable beds. Huge TV. Check in and check out very well done. Parking a bit of a bind but we did have a 12 seater van. But staff very helpful with parking. All round excellent will book Best Western again and again

"Don't stay"
first it is a bad location, very limited parking. Then there's no one at the check-in desk and have to wait over 15 minutes, receptionist with a horrible attitude, cigarette smell in room, scratchy sheets and no hot water.

"Pleasantly Got the Job Done"
With some 3 miles between airport and lodgings, calling it an airport hotel is a misnomer. FYI, it doesn't offer a shuttle so you'll need to take Uber, a taxi (about $14 before tip) or walk (as I did ... with a rolling suitcase yet! just don't do it at night, industrial area, unnerving). The room was fine. Very clean. A mini-fridge that was joyfully quiet (noisy motors are too common in hotels); microwave and mini shampoo/soap/etc. made for a pleasant overnighter while in transit. Check-in was efficient and quick, for which I was especially grateful as it was late and I was beat from extensive travels. Breakfast was OK. Offerings not as extensive as other Best Westerns but the coffee was plentiful, scrambled eggs and bacon hot (note: there's hardboiled eggs as well in the breakfast fridge). I chose this BW for its affordable rate (esp. for $$$$$$$ California), overall decent ratings and proximity to airport. In truth, it wasn't all that close (esp. as I like to be utterly independent and walk everywhere) but I made it work. Again, wouldn't walk those 3 miles at night but did in broad daylight, following strictly major busy streets. For a spritely 62-year-old female highly-seasoned global traveler with superior street smarts, I felt OK (while remaining uber-aware of surroundings, natch). Your mileage may vary. (Bus proved more trouble than it was worth but that's an option too.) If it's a nighttime snack or beer you need (esp. after stressful traveling!), there's a donut store (24-hour?) and liquor store very nearby. All in all pleasant lodgings for a reasonable price (though if memory serves, there was no plug for a hot bath for wearied travelers so that could be rectified ...).

"Friendly staff"
A few years ago my husband and I had I bad experience at a Best Western Hotel so we have avoided BW. However, based on the reviews, we booked this hotel in Burbank and had a great experience. The foyer was small but the staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and more than adequate for our 1 night stay. We were surprised to find a very nice breakfast included as well. This hotel is close to the Burbank airport so a great option if you are flying in and out of Burbank.

"Nice and comfortable room!"
The bed was so comfy, lady at the kitchen very nice. Front desk not so good. But overall hotel was good. Just when we got there we were charge a different price that the email they sent me with the rate. Employee was rolling his eyes to me because I told him that it was wrong.

"OK"
Hotel staff was very friendly and hotel itself was fine. Could definitely use some renovations. On site free parking was great. What was most disappointing to me was the location. While it was a short drive to most places we visited, the area was very run down and extremely noisy at night-lots of sirens. There was nothing close by that we wanted to go to as far as restaurants, etc. We did not want to spend any more time than we needed to there. I wish I would have done my homework a little better concerning the area. But the hotel was fine.

"Great Stay for Family of Four"
We stayed for 4 nights. 2 parents, 2 young kids. There's nothing really near the hotel but it's not too far from the freeway. The room was great. The best part of our stay was the breakfast. They served sausages, scrambled eggs, bacon, yogurt, waffles, bagels among other offerings. The kids enjoyed it very much. We could tell that the breakfast staff person Laura put real effort into doing her job. The oddest part about our stay was that the housekeeping staff threw out our soap every day and gave us new bars. On the final day, we didn't get any soap at all. Strange, but not a deal breaker.

"Close proximity to universal studios and warner bros studios"
Looking for a hotel that was close to universal studios but without paying too much I came across this best western. After reading some reviews I was somewhat hesitant but booked anyway. Ok, so the location is somewhat sketchy ( let's be honest ) but I didn't feel unsafe. Is it a neighborhood that you would see families walking in ? No, I would call it more like a industrial area. A bunch of warehouses , mechanic shops around. Hotel is super clean and staff is nice. Breakfast is eh... they have a waffle station and scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausages, pastries and cereal. Hotel is right next door to a donut shop that sells breakfast sandwiches and juices and there's a 7-11 across the street. Universal studios is around a 15 min drive. Didn't have to take the freeway which is a plus. You know how LA traffic is. Just take Lankershim all the way down. Same with going to the Warner bros studio tour. It's pretty close by. All in all I would stay here again if the price was right.

"Not great but not bad"
Arrived late at night and no one was at front desk and no bell to ring. Finally a young man walked in from the outside door, dressed in a hoodie and wearing earbuds! I thought he might be a transient, but it turned out he was night clerk! Very polite and helpful. Room was clean, pillows and bed a bit lumpy, but I was only staying for one night. Nice buffet breakfast with eggs, bacon, make your own waffles, cereal, etc. Be advised that they DO NOT have an airport shuttle. Check out was courteous and friendly.

"Stay over in Burbank."
Arrived a bit early for check-in, but was checked-in & given room keys even tho my room was not ready. My car was parked in the garage & I decided to acquaint myself with the area. When I returned my room was ready & right off the elevator which was a plus. The room was well appointed, clean, spacious & resembled the on-line photos. The breakfast room was right down the hall & the fitness center a couple doors down. The breakfast had a nice selection of cold & hot items, was clean & well stocked. The attendant was pleasant & efficient. The room was comfortable & quiet & everything was in working order. Check-out was easy & quick & I would recommend this hotel as it is close to the airport, freeway & other attractions.

It was a wonderful place to stay 10/10 recommend. Everything was ready when we got there even though we got there 3 hours earlier than our check in time we were able to get a room and start our trip our rooms were always clean and comfortable.

"Great hotel but not upper end area"
Easy from Burbank airport, 7-11 and good taco place across the street. Everything inside the hotel was very good. Easy to have a breakfast of your choice with a lot of options. Sort of like a 3rd world neighborhood and may have heard gunfire in the middle of the night .
BWBurbankAirportInn, General Manager at Best Western Burbank Airport Inn, responded to this review
Thanks for the review, but I'm guessing the noise you have heard may have been fireworks or a vehicle as we have never heard what you describe, all of which sound similar but are clearly not the same.
"Very damp, dusty, muggy room"
I don't think I would recommend this hotel. The room was very small and it was so muggy and damp, horrible. The sheets were not white, they were a dirty white and not good quality sheets; not crisp, just limp and yucky. The side tables, headboards, and the TV area were so dusty; have no idea the last time they were wiped down. The breakfast was okay and liked the waffles. The fitness area had broken equipment. Will not be staying there again. The area is pretty sketchy and did not want to eat at any restaurant in the area.
"I wish it was near the Airport"
The facility is nice, the rooms clean, beds comfortable, bathrooms excellent, they look like they have been remodeled. TV and internet were good, the breakfast was good, a variety for everyone and the waffles like always were great! The front desk staff were very helpful, especially at checkout when I needed a cab to the airport. The cleaning ladies were pleasant and did a excellent job of the room each day, you could not ask for more from them. The lady preparing breakfast was fantastic, greeting everyone for breakfast, preparing a good breakfast and keeping the room spotless. My only problem is; it is advertised as the Burbank Airport Best Western and it is some distance from the airport with no shuttle service. I had to take a cab to the airport for my return.
"Tourist01"
The hotel is not in a very good area but the hotel itself is very nice. The décor, comfort, and cleanliness of the room was comparable to that of a Marriott Hotel. It is conveniently located by Universal Studios and Hollywood. I didn't try the breakfast so I can't comment on the quality. I would definitely stay here again.

"great hotle in a ? neighborhood."
Hi , the hotel is great. clean big rooms, good staff, good breakfast selection , but the area is a little suspect. Hard to walk after dark to find a place to eat. Sandy's Tacos across the street was great.
"No real breakfast"
Stayed at this location for 3 days, and ate the same breakfast ( scrambled egg mush, pork sausage, bacon, waffle) every morning. The unfortunate part of it is that there's no real kitchen. The scrambled egg is a microwaved mush ( a one gallon bag placed in the microwave), which is poured into the serving dish afterwards. The sausage and bacon are also microwaved. The waffle batter is made in a big bucket( flour and sink water) then poured into the waffle dispenser. The fruit toppings are all artificial, in a jar and poured into a dish for people to consume. The pastries and bread aren't fresh. I believe they recycle them. No fresh hot oatmeal. But oatmeal packets. The cereal is the cheap version. The boiled eggs are stored bought. So I'm sure those are recycled as well. The hot coffee machine broke, so people couldn't make coffee/tea. The breakfast experience was terrible. The lady managing the breakfast hour/room was nice and friendly. I won't be staying here again
"North Hollywood Stay"
Nice place for a stay! Parking is limited but was not an issue when we were there! Nice Breakfast options! Short drive to most places in the Hollywood area! Would come back again in the future! Great staff!
"Special Place!"
It's not a fancy area but I love this hotel! Rooms are decorated very nice, extra touches of the way the pillows are arranged, towels are luxurious and smell wonderful, even the complimentary soaps and lotions are luxurious!
"Excellent Hotel and Wonderful Staff"
We keep returning to this hotel not just because it is in a good location or that it is a good value, but mostly because of the staff. The entire front desk staff is superb -- always helpful, friendly, and smiling. Laura of the Breakfast Bar is outstanding as is all the housekeeping staff. If you need something, all you have to do is ask. We will return again and again and again....
"Hollywood Trip"
The hotel was nice with the only issue being parking,(if you get there last parking is difficult to find). The room was very clean and roomy. the overall stay was very good. I would visit this location again.
"Very nice place near the San Fernando Valley"
I have stayed here multiple times and the experience has always been good. The breakfast often includes both bacon and sausage which gives me protein and energy for the day. The place is quiet, well off the main highway and the price is generally on the lower end in an expensive area. The staff is well trained, friendly and courteous. Parking is tight and that is the only downside but is a minor inconvenience and is not charged for so it is good.

"You decide"
First time ever that I received an amazing upgrade as a diamond member. Went from a king to adjoining king rooms. While near the airport it was quiet. Reasonable for money and near to six flags and warner brothers and other attractions. Parking is free but very small so if double park u must leave keys at the desk. Nearby restaurants and grocery. 3 floors with elevator. We had a nice stay. No noise from airport only preschool playground at back of bldg

"Surprisingly GREAT front desk service"
The price / value ratio is very good for LA as many others have posted. The rooms are also above average considering this price point. But the 2 big standouts are the free parking in the hotel's large garage on the premise. It holds about 30 cars. And the front desk staff are very attentive and nice. Not at all what I expected for this type of price range. For example, there was a senior woman who was asking for directions. And the front desk guy patiently listened to her questions and did some online research to help her. Way above and beyond. There is a 7-Eleven a block away. And a McDonalds and gas station about 8 blocks away. Due to my frequent traveler rewards with Best Western, i got a free upgrade to their suite with 2 extremely large rooms ( designed for Wheelchairs ). Housekeeping was also very good. The only thing below average was the stand up shower drain was a bit clogged. The other bathroom ( tub / shower ) was fine.

Thanks for the great review, and thank you for being a loyal Best Western Rewards customer, we're glad you enjoyed what our hotel has to offer!
"A little gemThe s"
The place is a gem in middle of a challenging area. The value more than made up for the location and once inside the secure parking area and into the lobby you can feel like you're at home. It felt comparable to a Hampton.
BWBurbankAirportInn, General Manager at Best Western Burbank Airport Inn, responded to this review
I'm so glad you felt at home while staying with us!
"Clean and Right"
Fast, clean, modern. Looked like a recent upgrade. It is a non-smoking hotel. But, upon check-in our room had obviously been smoked in. Not the hotel's fault. Just a completely selfish, rude guest. Hotel was quick to move us to a different room. Everything else was really good. Room was clean, staff was friendly, hotel was like an oasis in Burbank. Now, if they could just make the early morning pigeons move somewhere else, that would be GREAT!
BWBurbankAirportInn, General Manager at Best Western Burbank Airport Inn, responded to this review
Thank you for the awesome review, and for being cool about having to move to a new room, Even though you were happy with the new room, I still want to apologize for the fact that you had to switch rooms. I really wish those pigeons would leave too! lol
"Worth the Money"
The parking is limited and safe. The room was clean. The breakfast was far more than continental and of good quality. The staff was polite, helpful and friendly. I would stay here again and would definitely recommend it to others.

"Easy in and out"
Perfect spot we stay in for family visiting in the area. Outside area little rundown but have always felt safe here. Wife went out early AM for bagels next door no issue. Breakfast same every day could use more variety. But overall it's a good place stay

"Best Western Burbank for the win!"

"All in All good"
The hotel, all in all, is a good hotel - friendly staff, good breakfast (included), free parking, comfy room. We didn't spend much time in the hotel since we wanted to profit of the time in LA, but we enjoyed our stay. It is not located in the best part of the town, as in it is not located next to big restaurants or shops, but it's good.
BWBurbankAirportInn, General Manager at Best Western Burbank Airport Inn, responded to this review
Thank you for taking the time to review us!
"Friendly staff"
Ok, so maybe not the best looking part of town but we were never worried about our safety. They have parking off the street which made me feel better. It is a smaller hotel and parking is near the office. Front desk staff was amazing and very helpful. The breakfast room attendant was also very attentative. The rooms were nice and clean. Tv was huge! Breakfast was good and hot. We had everything we needed. I wish we could have stayed longer. I definitely recommed staying here. It was a short uber/lyft ride to universal and they picked us up right out front. Very convenient. Much more affordable than staying close to the park. Give this place a try. You wont be disappointed.

"Don't waste your time or money"
Worst experience ever. Poor service all the way around. When I made my reservation there is an option for requests. I requested a shuttle and an early breakfast. Neither of these were ever addressed (or probably never even read). Of course, my mistake, there is NO shuttle. Thankfully there's Uber. Next step, we were checking out at 5:15AM for a flight. Could they provide a breakfast since this is included in our fees. No, they can't start breakfast before 6:00 AM. Ok, so I then requested a breakfast item to go. They didn't offer this option, I had to request it. He said he would have 2 Grab N Go breakfast bags ready for us at the front desk when we checked out. Upon check out, there was no clerk at the front desk. Several minutes later he returns. There are no breakfast bags ready. He throws 2 granola bars and water in a bag as we dash out to catch our Uber. I was furious. I had a sleepless night due to heavy traffic noise and clearly hearing guests activities through the thin walls. I would rather pay more and actually get a good nights rest, and better service.
"Great Price, Good Location, Nice Rooms, Friendly Staff"
The price was very reasonable and the room clean and comfortable, as expected. Wasn't crowded at all. Staff were friendly and helpful. I didn't try the breakfast, so I can't comment on that. I would definitely stay here again.
"Good Option For Burbank"
No idea how close to the airport it is because it's on a main strip into town. The area is a bit scruffy (but, then again, lots of LA is like that). The room was very good and the breakfast adequate. It has on-site free parking but they have double bays so remember to tell them in which spot you have parked in case you block someone in.
"Booking through opaque site means you get the worst rooms in the house"
Checking in at 5 pm, and having stayed before on stays booked direct through Best Western, I was fully aware of the room locations and where the poor (noisy) locations were located. The clerk tries to tell me that the ONLY room available was the worst room in the house on a night I needed to go to bed early and get a good rest. It was clear other rooms were being checked in that evening. Will never stay here again.
"best in the area"
I have stayed at this Best Western multiple times - CLEAN, very welcoming staff, and best value in the area...all I need in a hotel - and GREAT donut shop next door! It's a really expensive area for hotels, and this one is a good value. It's also wonderful to fly in and out of the little Burbank airport and skip LAX and it's madness.
"Modern Decor and convenient location"
Quiet and clean room. Friendly staff. Stable and fast internet. The room looked newly remodeled. I would definitely stay again. Parking was a little challenging, however, managed to find a space to squeeze into. The parking lot is definitely made for compact size or smaller car.
"Kudos to Kevin!"
We recently stayed at the Best Western Burbank Airport Inn and I first have to say that the manager, Kevin, was exceptional! He went out of his way to make our stay pleasant, even upgrading our room to the accessible rooms (after a cancellation). This was immensely helpful and appreciated as we were traveling with my father and aunt, both of which require C-pap machines for sleeping and my aunt has Neuropathy making it difficult for her to walk and take high steps (such as into a bathtub, etc.). I seriously cannot say enough good things about Kevin. He is the BEST! And actually, everyone at the hotel was awesome! We were always greeted with kindness and friendliness from the front desk. Our questions were always answered with patience and smiles :) And the breakfast attendant, (I think her name was Laura) was great too! Everything was clean and kept stocked in the breakfast room and she was kind and helpful to everyone. I must say that when we first arrived at the hotel, we considered going elsewhere because of the condition of the neighborhood. Garbage and graffiti on the street... It did not appear safe and I was worried about having my dad and my aunt there. BUT... going inside the hotel brought a completely different feel. We were pleasantly surprised and I'm so glad we stayed! Clean and comfortable. The BEST staff. The upgraded room. It was a wonderful stay and we felt very safe inside. Complimentary parking was also a nice perk. We used the handicap space so we didn't have the issues that other reviews mentioned. But we also used Uber to get around so our car remained parked and we did not have to worry about getting in and out of the garage anyway. Manager Kevin even let us have early car in (before check in) and late car out (after check out), which was SO GREAT! Lankershim blvd is almost a straight shot to Universal Studios so it was a short Uber ride away for us, as was the Walk of Fame and Madame Tussauds Wax Museum. We enjoyed our stay very much! Thank you Kevin & staff!!

"BW North Hollywood"
Good hotel overall. Staff are friendly, Clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast is good. There are a lack of restaurants in the vicinity. Hotel parking is secure, but there are limited individual parking slots. You will likely have to double park your vehicle on their premises and leave your keys at the desk to allow staff to move cars now and then.
BWBurbankAirportInn, General Manager at Best Western Burbank Airport Inn, responded to this review
Thanks for your comments, unfortunately it may seem like there aren't as many restaurants to choose from, but there are some great ones nearby and we've been noticing more and more restaurants opening up in the area.
"Interesting location"
One might say the area of this hotel is sketchy, but it sure looks interesting (during the day-not so sure at night). Our room was large but unfortunately right on Lankershim Blvd. We got very little sleep as the traffic was busy all night long and very loud. I don't know what it would be like off the boulevard-if you stay here, definitely ask for a room in the back of the hotel; we were in room 205. Also, try to get to the hotel earlyish so you don't have to park in a double spot. We were lucky and got a single spot. We did not want to leave our car keys with the front desk to move our car so the person in the front of the parking spot could get out. Very strange parking set up. The room wasn't very nice-definitely not a 3 star hotel-quite shabby and expensive for what you got.
BWBurbankAirportInn, General Manager at Best Western Burbank Airport Inn, responded to this review
I apologize that you heard too much traffic noise from the street, was the front desk ever notified about this? I hope that they were given the chance to make it right.
"Good overall"
It was a small hotel, three floors. First floor is garage and lobby. Second and third floor are the rooms. It was quiet, clean room, helpful staff. There's a vending machine with drinks and snacks and toiletries if needed. Complementary parking, internet and breakfast. Close to universal studios.
BWBurbankAirportInn, General Manager at Best Western Burbank Airport Inn, responded to this review
Thanks for the review! It's good to hear you enjoyed your stay.
"Very decent hotel & overall good value"
Small hotel only about 40-50 rooms. Located in N Hollywood 10 min from Universl Studios. 10-15 min from enormous Galleria/ Americana mall and 30-40 min from most of LA and surrounding. 7-11 and lots of stores nearby. Front desk helpful and accommodated early check in. Short walk from small parking garage to lobby up to room. Room had 2 double beds. Good size bathroom and tub/ shower. Large. Flat screen tv ( 50 in or so) with a good selection of channels.. Fridge. Closet. Quiet hotel we didn't hear anything. Vending and Ice Machine down hall. Be warned there was a smell coming from Ice machine room I forgot to tell mgmt. everything else about hotel was great. Good value for $. Price includes breakfast, parking, Internet. Breakfast is on 3rd floor and was pretty decent. Only 1 waffle maker so it's always busy but eggs, sausage, bacon, cereal, bread, yogurt, juice machine and coffee. Overall this is a very budget friendly hotel with all the basics and I would stay here again.
"Perfect Accommodation"
Clean, great staff, ample room, hot shower! Absolutely no issues staying here, and despite the comments about the area, we had no dramas walking across the road and back again. If you're happy to Uber, most places of interest are no more than a $7 ride away, and there's a 7-Eleven across the road. Staff always greeted us with a smile and a hello and the option of a quick breakfast before starting the day does not go astray.
"Good value"
We needed somewhere near the airport for a one night stay. This hotel is good value for money, room was spacious, as was bathroom. Parking in basement car park was fine. Receptionist on duty ( sorry can't remember name ) on Friday evening Sept 14th was particularly helpful in searching out a restaurant within a short driving distance that suited our taste. We chose to do that as choices in the immediate neighbourhood were limited. Breakfast is adequate considering it is included in the price.
"Very good"
This was the second time we have stayed here and it was even better then the first time. The breakfast room has been upgraded and There was more then Enough choice. (Waffels, scrambled eggs, bacon, boiled eggs, fruit, yoghurt, bagels and more. The rooms are big and clean, very comfortable bed. The staf was very friendly. Universal studio is only a 30 minute drive. We would definitely stay here again the next time we are in L.A.

"Great place to crash..."
Hotel was clean and quiet. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good... everything from oatmeal to eggs and bacon. Could have used a variety of fruit... No pool or hot tub at this location, but overall, great value for the price!

"Had a very nice stay."
The hotel is in a more industrial area because it is close to the Burbank Airport, but don't let that fool you. The staff were very friendly and hotel is well maintained inside. Our room was clean, roomy and quite comfortable. Additionally, Lankershim Blvd. is a major road and we were able to get around easily and find a wide variety of restaurants. It is a great value and great hotel to stay in.

"Questionable area but nice hotel."
My family and I wanted to stay in a hotel near universal but also convient for us to leave out of LA the next morning without all the traffic. I'm not going to lie but the area was sketchy. Check in was easy and the front desk was helpful. Once we were inside the rooms and hallways were clean as can be. No pool at this location and it had a small workout room. Some of the items provided for breakfast are as listed: bagels, danish, waffle maker, English muffin, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal, juice, and coffee.

"Good for quick stay"
I've booked this location twice now for quick overnight trips and it hasn't been bad either time. Clean rooms, welcoming front desk agents and plenty of quiet. I must say, the neighborhood isn't the best and getting in and out of the garage can be a mess, but it comes with it's placement. I do think it's a little over-priced for the quality, location and brand but when in a bind - its a clean hotel you can rest easy in. If you need the Noho/Burbank area, it's convenient.
"Lord Cheezits!!"
Lord cheezits! This hotel was amashing. The room was very nice and cool. The beds were confy and eel put together. The view outside of the bedroom was pretty nice. The neighborhood over all was so kind and amazing. It was right next to a YUM YUM DOUGHNUTS!!. In conclusion, this place was alright.I mean it's sligh below average...but over all GREAT!????????
"Better than I expected!"
Large spacious room and bathroom and they're very clean which I'm so happy with! Front desk guys are very friendly and helpful I loved all their suggestions on places to eat. I got more than what I expected and we are very happy for that!
"Pretty Good"
I came here for the of July 4th week and I must say, I am pretty picky when it comes to hotels and I wasn't quite sure when booking, but when i got here it wasn't all that bad. Room was pretty clean. Besides from a few stain sheets (pretty normal when hotels use white sheets) my room was good. I like that its located near a 24 hour 7 eleven and despite location, I walked back and forth at night with no worries. Parking was not a hassle even though it was double parking. If you park in front of someone you just leave your key at the front desk and they move it for you. No worries. It was located near everything I wanted to do. I would definitely stay here again if I want another bargain stay.
"Adequate Best.Western in a very sketchy neighborhood"
We stayed here for 3 nights to attend a conference at the Mariott Burbank. I was a bit taken aback at the neighborhood, which is in the airport area of Burbank/North Hollywood. The hotel sits between a Volunteers of America nursery school and a Yum Yum Donuts store. It is Hispanic and quite down market. Our room faced the street, which was noisy. ( Be sure to avoid this side.) The room was clean, the bed was good, and the breakfast was very well done. But how anyone could say the exercise room was well equipped is beyond me. One treadmill, one bike, and not much else. Parking was also treacherous but free. Unlucky guests had to leave their keys at the desk. There is an excellent Japanese restaurant, Chiba, just a 2 minute walk away. But I was not welcomed as a BW member. I really cannot recommend this hotel.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your stay with us. I want to apologize for my front desk agent not welcoming you as a Best Western Rewards member, and the noise you heard from your room. Please reach out to me directly at the hotel as I would like to discuss your stay and see what it is we could do to make things right.
"Quiet comfortable stay"
Serivce is great. And what i loved about this hotel is that it is super clean and comfortable. We had 3 rooms on third floor and it was perfect since breakfast room is in 3rd floor .Parking is a bit tight but staff handles parking pretty well! We had no problems . I highly recommend you to stay at this hotel. And A few fyi ... its Super close to universal studios. Its literally down the road. Lots of Hispanic food around the area of hotel. ??Also went to Disney and it takes about an hr or so to get there cuz of traffic. Highly recommend

"Great Stay!"
Everything was perfect. My room was beautifully renovated, meticulously cleaned, and the breakfast was delicious! Good location in across from a 7-11, bakery, Mini-Mart, and restaurants. Close proximity to downtown LA and Hollywood but just outside the hustle and bustle that comes with it. Ample parking. Excercise room was well equipped for a basic stay needs. Breakfast area is well stocked, neat/clean, and nicely remodeled. Staff was accommodating and very pleasant. Kudos to the hiring manager at this location. Thank you for making my stay a very pleasant one. You've surpassed my expectations! Thank you for making my stay a very pleasant one. You've surpassed my expectations!
"What a treat!"
6 hours of travel late in the evening arrival at this wonderful Hotel proved to be beneficial to me and my family of four. We upgraded to a suite which allow the children to sleep in the other room Universal Studios the next morning.
"Excellent staff, dirty beds..."
Trisham and Laura were fantastic! Super kind, and incredibly professional. A pleasure to interact with. Beds desperatly need a refresh. Stained sheets and comforter. Clearly been used a long while and just need replaced. Clean other than beds!
"Burbank gem of a hotel"
Best Western Burbank Airport exceeded my expectations with excellent personal service and a very clean, well appointed guest room. Our room was dead quiet all night because street noise only faces the lobby front entrance end. Complimentary hot & cold breakfast items were fresh and service attendants kept it clean and well stocked. Large bathroom, thick towels, big TV and a comfortable bed. No pool but a very nice fitness room and 24 hour access business center. Note that covered parking is somewhat limited and some spaces are double parked and you must give your car key to the front desk if you park behind someone. Also note that there is no complimentary airport shuttle transportation provided, but there is a list of external providers if you need that service to/from BUR airport. About a 10 minute drive to BUR airport. I wouldn't venture out after dark as it is a downtown hotel location, but the site facility is secure with inside hallways and 24 hour front desk coverage. All guest rooms are 2nd floor or higher. Parking garage and hotel lobby on ground floor.
"Great stay"
Stayed for 3 nights in room 224 Beds were so comfortable , plenty of good quality towels and the bathroom was very clean . Large flatscreen tv, fridge , microwave etc. Staff were very friendly . The breakfast had a good range and was topped up by attentive staff. My wife and myself went for a walk in the local area which appeared a bit dodgy but we felt surprisingly safe . The only downside to this room was that it overlooked a rooftop of ac units . I would stay here again with no worries
"birthday trip to Los Angeles"
hotel was nice & clean, friendly staff, easy access to explore the grater hollywood,San Fernando valley area!great restaurant, shopping center to go explore!Universal studios,Warner brother studio,Griffith Park are really close by!
"Enjoyed our stay!"
Hotel was clean, staff is friendly and helpful. Free breakfast everyday and free wifi. Beds were comfortable to sleep in. Amenities were replenished everyday. Definitely will recommend to my friends. Best value for money! Kids enjoyed and loved their stay!
"Great value, clean and comfortable."
We stayed here for 2 nights with family. It wasn't the greatest neighbourhood but was close to all the sights we were seeing. We felt safe at the hotel and the parking lot was monitored and secure. The breakfast was fantastic. Much better than expected. Fresh waffles, eggs, sausages and bacon. Also pastries, muffins and cereal. The rooms were comfy and clean. No hassle with check in or out. Excellent value. I would recommend and stay again for sure :)
"Great place to stay. I WILL GO BACK.. When I am in the area."
The place was nice considering the neighborhood and location . Just need to put in A Hot Tub .. I will go back when I m in the Area. They have A small Truck parking area FOR small Trucks which is A plus .. !
"Friendly staff!"
The friendly staff stood out to me throughout my stay. From the beginning, they gave us information about the hotel and the location. Every time we left the hotel, there was a staff member near the desk who would always wish us a nice day. The room was clean and well kept. Finally, the prices were great!

"It was awesome!"
This was my first time in California with my husband..he surprised me with a birthday trip which I very much enjoyed! This hotel exceeded my expectations: the staff is nice and helpful especially front desk, rooms very clean, Laura always made an awesome breakfast! I was a bit weary about the location but always felt safe. We will definitely be staying here on our next visit! Thanks!??

"Great hotel and great service ..... location not so great"
We stayed in this hotel for two nights while doing Universal studios and Disneyland. We arrived late at night .... and although I am a seasoned traveller .... I was scared. The reception was very helpful and we asked for a cot for our room and it was already delivered before we could get our suitcases out of the car. Breakfast was plentiful, with eggs, bacon and sausages and we didn't have to wait for table to eat. Room was on the small side and we had to put the cot near the door and step over it to get to the bathroom .... it was that small. But we were just sleeping and showering there. This hotel gets a bad rap for its parking. But the parking spaces were ample and one morning we were being blocked by another car. It was addressed by the attendant immediately and the car blocking us was moved before my kids could make it down in the elevator from the second floor. Besides location, there is nothing negative about this hotel.

"Quick weekend"
My best friend and I spent a quick weekend here with the purpose of going to Universal Studios, we arrived on a Friday night around 10 pm and check is was quick and easy, the young man at the front desk (Trishan ? ) was very nice and even let us print our tickets via email since my friend forgot the ones she printed back home and the business center was "out of service". We shared a room with a king size bed and the room had all the basics we needed for a night of sleep, the young man at the front desk the next morning when we left for our day of fun was equally as nice and we had a blast at Universal before returning back to hotel again after 10pm. As previous posters had mentioned the area is a bit shady, but in no way did I feel unsafe and we are both 40yr old women traveling on our own. We did not take advantage of the free breakfast, so I can't report on that, but I would stay here again based on customer service and the room was as expected. Thanks B-Dub!!

"Great Breakfast!"
Very nice room - clean with comfortable bed.Large flat screen TV. Covered parking. Breakfast was excellent with many choices, including waffles, eggs, sausage, bacon, cereal, yogurt, coffee, juices, regular milk, almond any soy milk. etc.

"Great Hotel despite the location"
We chose this hotel because it is two buildings down from my daughter's apartment complex. It was super convenient while visiting her. It is on a busy street, not the best part of town, but don't let that fool you. Daniel, the front desk associate was efficient, friendly, effective, thorough, and professional. This is the second stay at a Best Western in the past two months, completely different parts of the state, but we received exactly the same customer service at both places. Then consistency across the brand is reached, then you know the business is doing something right. There was ample free parking, the rooms were modern and updated, the complimentary breakfast was satisfying. We will definitely stay here when visiting our daughter again!

"Great!"
Quiet, clean, comfortable, friendly staff, ok location ??, good breakfast, soft beds, warm rooms, everything was as it was supposed to be. Oh and good wifi connection and a spot in the garage for your car. Thanks.

"Good value"
Good location close to major freeways. Free parking and nicely served breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable. Offered everything we needed for the night. Fridge, microwave, in room coffee, nice chair. Very affordable price. Not in a neighborhood we were interested in, but close to get us to many locations.
"Always great, have never been disappointed by Best Western, they are the best value for the money"
Excellent service and very friendly staff, parking is at a premium but they made it work for me. Always great, never been disappointed by them no matter what state I'm in. The service is consistent and great.
"Wished we didn't have to leave!"
Loved our experience at Best Western! Staff was super friendly, check in was a breeze, front desk staff was always all smiles and ready to help, cleaning staff did a great job too, was even so sweet to rush to our room as we entered to returned a lost slipper to us that we dropped on our way to our room. Room very clean, had good internet, we even enjoyed watching Disney channel one evening with the kids, the ac worked well, beds and pillows were very comfortable, loved that we had a small safe provided in our room and all the little extras like a microwave and refrigerator, iron and ironing board, etc. There was even an option to call front desk if we forgot any toiletries, which I thought was a nice touch. Our favorite part of our stay, besides the comfy beds, was the full breakfast service. From getting to make our own waffles to having dairy free options with almond or soy milk, I was very impressed with how accommodating breakfast was for even the pickiest of eaters. There was something for everyone in our family. We loved our visit and had only wished we had booked an extra night. Definitely will be back!
"very nice place to stay"
Kiana at front desk was professional, helpful, and friendly. breakfast area was very small and hard to fine a place to sit, but I found one finally. my room was clean and quiet. their patio in the back was a pleasant place to relax.
"Wonderful staff"
Our family traveled down for the Rose Parade. The hotel staff were excellent and treated us like family. The location is close to the airport we didn't hear the planes. The hotel was clean, the area around it is an older part of Burbank, but we felt safe at the hotel. It was nice to have covered parking. I would stay here again.
"Good night"
We came in to town for my uncle's funeral and on short notice. Kevin was able to accommodate our group with two rooms. Rooms weren't ready when we came in but he allowed us to come in before check in time to get ready once they were done. Very nice place and clean.
"large room, friendly staff"
room is very large and comfortable. Free parking and free breakfast. Burbank is in northern GREATER LA area and close to Getty Centre and Universal Studios. Staff are friendly. Highly recommended hotel
"Good stay"
We stayed here for our family trip to Universal Studios. We were checked in by Trishan. The hotel was nice and the room was clean. Parking garage was tight but free. We had a good stay. Breakfast was good. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We would come back here again the next time we visit Southern California.
"Cheap and ok stay"
We stayed here for two nights when we explored the northern parts of LA. It is located in some rough area but you park inside hotel so that is ok. You are somehow close to the Hollywood/Universal Studios/UCLA area. The room is ok and you have free wifi and parking. Might be that you need to double park, then you need to give reception your car keys in order for them to move it if necessary. The room is average, somehow outdated but you could sleep and you get what you pay for. The breakfast is included but as always not that much to choose from but you will have something at least. it siuted us for our two nights stay anyway.
"Friendly accommodating staff"
Everyone we came in contact with was friendly and helpful, the hotel was clean, room comfortable and the breakfast was good. I would definitely recommend staying at this best western. No unpleasant surprises during a hotel stay is always a good thing.
"Holiday vacation"
Great hotel to stay near universal studios great value for what you get, staff very friendly and helpful, great beds in general great experience the only thing I didn't like was the parking lot but other than that great hotel
"Nice hotel if you want to stay near the airport"
Can't find anything bad to say about this hotel. We were there for three nights. Folks at front desk were helpful and professional in every way. Room was clean, nice bed, very large screen TV, and a nice breakfast that is included. The hotel is not located in the greatest area, but we wanted to stay near the airport because we had an early flight.
"Best Western Burbank"
Room was adequate and was a good value. The parking is limited but didn't prove to be a problem. The hotel is not far from the airport and not far from many attractions. The immediate neighborhood is a bit sketchy.
"Good LA Hotel"
This is a typical good quality Best Western. The rooms are well maintained, the breakfast is very good and the location is convenient. The only issue is the parking which is a tandem arrangement and not always convenient. The folks at the desk are competent and helpful
"GOOD OVERNIGHT REST STOP"
We had a pleasant overnight weekend stay here. The room was large and well furnished for travelers. Our bed was comfortable. The room itself was quiet during our stay. The front desk staff was friendly and very helpful. On the downside, parking is limited requiring most cars have to be stack parked. Interior lighting inside our room was poor. The new large screen television set in the room was still being installed and was inoperative while we were there.
"Wonderful ... perfect place to stay for Universal Studios visit"
I almost hate to tell the general public about this wonderful hotel .... I want it's reasonable rates and availability to stay the same for every time I want to go to Universal Studios. This Best Western is very, very clean and well kept. Our car is kept in the under-hotel parking with secure access. The staff and management are very helpful and friendly. It is a 5 mile straight shot down Lankershim Rd to the parking garage at Universal Studios ... you do not have to get on the freeway to get there. There is an In n Out Burger place on Lankershim. There is a 7-11 store across the street to the hotel. Burbank airport is really close, but you don't hear the planes. We will always stay at this hotel every time we are in the area.
"Poorly located but great place to stay"
I plan on staying at this hotel for the next couple of months on and off. The price is great and the hotel itself is quite nice with great staff, breakfast, a fitness room and internet included. Direct TV vs HBO and cable but now-a-days I don't even think that's a minus. The area is super sketchy but the hotel seems tucked away unnoticed and the parking is well monitored and maintained within the building. I stayed at the Glendale BW in a less sketch location but the outdoor parking was a daily frustration and I've since canceled my bookings with them. At this BW parking is limited but when you double park you leave your keys with the front desk and it's an easy in out in the morning. If you're flying out of the Burbank airport this is a really great place to stay with comfy beds and a nice breakfast in the morning.
"WEDDING VISIT"
We were pleasantly surprised. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Beds were also comfortable. The parking lot was awkward, but we figured it out quick enough. Breakfast had the usual food and was a good start to the day.
"Nice Hotel"
This is a nice, neat, clean hotel close to Burbank airport. It has a delicious hot, free breakfast every morning. It has free parking. I usually stay at this hotel when I am visiting my son in Burbank.
"Great Vacation"
We loved the breakfast. A nice variety and yummy waffles. We only had to double park on our last night. We left our key at the front desk and they backed our car into a great spot for us. The wifi worked perfectly. Our room was cleaned and restocked everyday, which was good because there was four of us.
"Great value in a not so good neighborhood"
The rooms were clean, spacious and there is a wide breakfast selection. On the downside the hotel is not in the best neighborhood. You will have to drive to restaurants as there is not much around. Internet worked fine, staff very friendly and no attitude - really pleasant!
"Great hotel tucked away in North Hollywood!"
Loved this hotel. Very clean! Great, friendly staff. I recommend it highly. About 4 miles from Bob Hope airport in Burbank. A great place to stay if you're making a quick trip into Burbank Airport. Everything about it is good!
"Very clean room and helpful staff"
The Best Western was a very nice hotel near the airport. The area is somewhat industrial so there was no much to see. The staff was quite accommodating in finding a place for dinner and check out seemed seamless. There are other choices in the area but were happy to have stayed there one night for the rate we paid.
"Very nice hotel close to Burbank Airport"
Cute little hotel that is very conveniently located near the Burbank Airport. Rooms were standard size, wifi was good and breakfast had a nice range of good items to eat. Good price for this type of hotel in CA.
"Great hotel for the price"
This hotel was very comfortable for the price of $125.00 a night. We wanted a hotel that was fairly close to Universal Studios, the LA Zoo and Hollywood. Comfortable room with an above average breakfast. The only negative is it is not in a very nice area. You would not want to walk around the area at night.
"Pleasantly surprised "
When I read the reviews I was skeptical. The area is industrial and older, so I thought the hotel would be run down. Not at all. It is clean and nicely decorated. The staff is friendly. The reviews are right. This is definitely our go to hotel while in Los Angeles for now on! Bring your AAA card for a discount. Another nice surprise.
"Visiting from Australia"
Good value, flat 20 minute walk to Disneyland and there are signs to guide you. Shuttle to Disneyland us $5.50 for adults and $3 for kids for a one day bus pass which is adviasable - We didn't feel like walking home after such a big day! The rooms are reasonable size with all you need. Upper levels are very noisy when the cleaners go past with their trolleys! I was woken from a jetlagged sleep on day 1 thinking a helicopter was landing on us! Vanity in our room (2 x dbl beds) was outside the bathroom. Weird but actually convenient. Continental breakfast has good variety with fruit scrambled eggs bacon and waffles but ends at 9.30 so you have to get up in time. Pool (outdoor) is good and spa (also outdoor) is heated which would be nice if it wasn't already so hot! Overall it was good value but nothing special.
"Clean and friendly"
Nice moderate priced hotel. Friendly staff and very clean. Breakfast was included. Even had some nice extras at breakfast, sugar free syrup and nutella. Items not normally found at there breakfasts. Only drawback here was a lack of a swimming pool
"Best Western North Hollywood"
I stayed at the Best Western North Hollywood. I had a party to attend. The facility was clean, the staff helpful and professional. The location was only a few miles from the party I attended. The facility also had a complimentary breakfast.
"Good Value"
This Best Western is clean and comfortable. Staff was very helpful. Check in desk employee came up to the room and helped with the TV. Another desk employee offered to print for us when the printer would not work in the business center. Bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good. Good price. The parking was alright but had to ask for a car to move as there is double parking due to the space.
"Would stay here again"
Our daughter recently moved to Southern California for her new job. We chose this hotel because it is about 1 mile from her apartment. We would stay here again when we go to visit. The area isn't the most desirable, but it was ok. We got some snacks at the 7-11 across the street. I'm not sure if there are eateries nearby since we were busy elsewhere. The parking was double parking on one side and single on the other. If need be, you need to leave your key at the desk so they can move your car. I didn't really like that, but it all worked out fine. The breakfast was typical for this type of hotel - scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage, bacon, waffles, cereals, fruit, etc. There was an exercise room with 3 different equipment. We didn't use it this trip, but it looked to be clean and well kept. For some reason we had a handicap accessible room so I don't know how a regular room compared. The bathroom was quite large. There were all the typical toiletries. There was a desk, microwave and refrigerator included in the room. The view from our window was not attractive (the roof top of the shopping center next door). The staff (front desk, breakfast) were all quite pleasant and helpful. I had lost my phone. They allowed me to go back in to the room to look for it, but it was not there. He said he would have housekeeping look thoroughly through the room when they cleaned. I left another phone number. A few minutes later he called. He found it in the parking lot - I must have dropped it getting in the car and we probably were the ones who ran over it. But it is actually fine. We appreciated how responsive they were to our problem. If you have business in this area or maybe going to Universal Studios or Warner Brothers Studio Tour (15-20 minutes away maybe), this is a good place to stay.
"My Review"
The stay was great. I came for a concert that was at the Greek Theater. The rooms were very clean, breakfast was nice. The hotel was decent distance from venue. I would come back and recommend to anyone.

"Restful..."
So myself and other passengers fell victim to a flight that was cancelled late at night from LAX. I was booked on a flight leaving from Bob Hope Airport in Burbank and needed a hotel. I searched for a BW near the airport and this came up. I took a chance on this hotel. What I found was a 40 room hotel that was actually in North Hollywood, CA. I was greeted by a friendly desk attendants and was checked into my room right away. The room (317) was clean and smelled fresh. The sheets smelled fresh and the bathroom didn't smell musty. The bed wasn't that firm and I fell asleep right away. The complimentary hot breakfast was typical of most Best Westerns that I've been to. I'd come back if I need to find a hotel to stay for a night or a few nights. There's a donut shop that's right next door on the corner and it's open late in case you need to eat something.

"Not for families"
Good hotel for travelling for business. It is in N Hollywood so there isnt much of a family friendly atmosphere outside the property. They most certainly can use an upgrade for the furniture in the rooms. The nightstands were all beat up looking and patch work on the wall was painted entirely the wrong color. Petty i know but it just looks shotty. I would stay here again by myself on business but not with the wife and kids
"nice place"
had a great parking lot, nice front entreance. lobby was very clean had a computer room, help was very helpful with every thing. the free food was ok. clean room, bath room was very clean and roomey! I would stay her again good location to where I needed to go it work out good for me

"Match your prices to your online prices"
I went to best western expecting a 121 priced room after taxes baised of their online check in I got there and was charged 176 almost 200 for a night it was not worth it. Best western van nuys is a better option. They will not match your price at all.
BWBurbankAirportInn, General Manager at Best Western Burbank Airport Inn, responded to this review
I'm sorry you feel so strongly about the price point of our rooms which include free WiFi, free parking, and a free continental breakfast which goes above and beyond the minimum requirements of all our competitors in the area. As much as we strive to provide excellent customer service to all of our guests and make them feel special, we must also be fair to all of our guests and we cannot match a special rate that you may have at another Best Western, as each Best Western branded hotel is independently owned and operated, which allows us to offer a unique experience to our guests. Regarding the price matching, we do price match rates for our own hotel, if you do find a rate lower on any website for our specific hotel and for the same date(s) we will mach the price with no hesitation. "EXCELLENT HOTEL FACILITIES AND SERVICE"
Excellent place to stay when in Los Angeles. Price value ratio is superior than similar brands. Excellent service by friendly staff, great hot breakfast, Large TV screen and powerful WiFy. I also felt safe parking my car in the free indoor parking.

"Ok"
Littlebit worn and not so nice location, but good value for money. Some humming sound, probably air conditioners. Breakfast was plenty but every day the same. :) Bed was good and tv, internet, parking, bathroom staff was also good.

Thanks for taking the time to fill our a survey. We have lots of upgrades planned for our hotel in the near future, and hope you come back to see our hotel after we've completed them.
"Serviceable, clean hotel near Burbank Airport, but not a convenient neighborhood"
This Best Western is well situated to the Burbank Airport, but not as close - and FAR less expensive - than the few "close" hotels to the airport. This hotel offers a good breakfast (included in the price). Its rooms are fairly spacious, and bathrooms are clean. Air conditioning is reasonably quiet, and works well. Room lighting is inadequate for reading, and some rooms are showing their age. Included parking is a plus. But the neighborhood around the hotel is uncomfortable for walking. Staff is perfunctory, but helpful. Wifi is excellent.

"One of our best hotel experiences ever"
We had to make a last-minute trip for a family emergency. Michael the desk clerk was extremely friendly and made the visit so much easier. He was accommodating and empathetic, offering everything from extra pillows to food suggestions to his own parking spot. Thanks to Michael, we've become Best Western customers for life. I can't recommend this particular hotel enough, especially for anyone visiting the area with a family. Thank you to Michael and the Best Western Burbank staff!
"Didn't feel fresh and clean"
The housekeepers I don't feel they did the job they should've done in the rooms there was spray the desk but only part of the front of the furniture wiped off... leaving parking area very dangerous and sad only area to relax was the lobby
"Convenient Hotel to Major Attractions"
Due to the lack of availability and prices of hotels right by Universal, Hollywood, or the Beaches I booked this hotel based on location and price. Even though the area is very industrial, full of tire, wheel, body shops etc it is clean and quiet and a short drive to the Hollywood, Beverly Hills and Universal areas. They have an enclosed parking garage and you do have to double park occasionally and leave your keys with the front desk if you are blocking someone but we never had an issue getting our car out timely when we left each day. Breakfast and parking are free which is hard to find in the touristy areas. I found the front desk workers to be very friendly and helpful. You can tell it's an older smaller hotel than the newer Best Westerns but they have maintained the hotel well and it does have larger rooms and bathrooms than newer model hotels in this price range.
"just ok."
everything was ok. The biggest thing was NO pool, I have two kids and they disappointed. I don't know how I missed it when I made the reservation.By now every hotel should have a pool. the breakfast lady was really nice.
"Good price"
Hotel is really clean and comfortable. Staff treated us professionally and care about us. We called front desk to fixed TV and they came in seconds, fixed the problem and gave us information of attractions close by. Really friendly staff.
"Mr. Holder"
My Visit was an overall success. Laura hotel employee who was tending the morning breakfast was extremely nice and very hard working. I did need batteries or a better remote for the TV and called the front desk Thursday, however the problem was never remidied. No big deal.
"Cali sightseeing"
The hotel staff is helpful especially Kevin. This trip was for sightseeing. The location is not far from most LA sights but yoy will have to drive ir catch the metro. The bedding in this hotel was not as clean as it should be ( it looked dingy like it had not beem changed in a minute). There was a smell upon entering the room ( it subsided once we turned on AC and sprayed air freshner. The maids turn the AC off when they clean so you come back to a hot & stuffy room.
"EXCELLENCE"
Hotel is centrally located with access to several highways. The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable and looked great. The breakfast was filling and had many choices. The staff were very friendly and polite.

"Vacation"
Very nice hotel. We will stay again. Employees were very helpful and friendly. Close to all the places we wanted to visit. Used the business room several times to print out tickets it was clean and fast internet. Would stay again.

"Surprising find"
Had to head back to the old neighborhood for various appointments, and needed accommodations that we could afford. The price was right, despite the iffy area (Lankershim at Saticoy), and turned out to be just terrific. Free parking - very important! The young man in the lobby - Mike - made us feel special and important, gave us extra cold bottles of water (it was 102 degrees outside), plus snacks. The room was completely updated, super clean, and, most importantly, quiet. That was actually the most surprising thing of all, as we were not too far from the airport, and, having lived in Burbank for almost 30 years, we were expecting to hear helicopter noise at night. Free WiFi made staying attached to the cloud easy. A/C worked perfectly. We will definitely stay there again on future trips.
BWBurbankAirportInn, General Manager at Best Western Burbank Airport Inn, responded to this review
Glad to hear you liked the amenities our hotel offers, and enjoyed your stay here! We look forward to having you stay with us again!
"Convenient hotel"
The hotel was conveniently located between Universal and 6-Flags Magic Mountain, provided free parking and breakfast but Kids were disappointed there was no pool. Comfortable beds. Helpful staff. We did have an issue with cooling, but staff addressed it promptly.

"California Trip"
Hotel was easy to find but not in best of areas. We chose it because it was near the airport. After getting inside it felt safe and you forgot about the area. Parking also felt safe as it is under the hotel. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the hotel was clean and updated. The rooms were a nice size and the bed was very comfortable. Due to their limited space there was no laundry facility but they did have breakfast on the third floor which was good but crowded. I think it should be open a bit longer in the morning for guests that don't wake early. Overall I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.
"Holy Hollywood"
The hotel was not in the best location and the bed covers were not very clean. The hotel staff did get us blankets right away but they didn't handle our concerns with a response I would expect from a hotel such as. "Sorry to hear that, let me take it off your bill. "
"Universal Studios Trip"
Great hotel. Sketchy looking neighborhood, but we had no problems with that. Hotel was top quality and it was pretty close to Universal Studios and plenty of good food. I would definitely recommend people staying at this hotel.
"Great room and breakfast for excellent price"
Hotel was very clean; excellent bed and breakfast. Only "down side" is there is not a lot to walk to near the hotel. Overall, great quality though for the price! Breakfast had a lot to offer for anyone. Coffee was a bit weak but otherwise excellent value.

"Best stay ever"
Will definitely recommend Best breakfast Very convinient Close to everything Very clean Friendly staff Great parking Nice gym Quiet area Great beds Nice pillows Big bathrooms Full breakfast Nice computer room
"Hotel Review"
Best Western Burbank Airport Inn was a fine hotel. Service and amenities were excellent. Any issue I had was responded to very promptly. I would recommend this fine affordable hotel to others. Their free "Continental Breakfast" will exceed your expectations!

"Love It!"
Love this hotel! It is a newer, nice quality hotel. Extremely clean & quality built, great smelling. Very nice breakfast every morning. Staff is friendly & helpful. I stay here every time I visit my son in Burbank! Next door to YumYum donuts!

"Great room great service!"
Friendly staff great bed and very clean! Even had gluten free option for breakfast. Highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to stay in a cool hotel at a great price. Close to public transport and Burbank airport
"Needs some work"
Some problems during stay, some staff great others not so much, "free" breakfast not worth it. Room had some issues, deadbolt not working, fixed quickly, safe not working they were unable to repair. Had issue with key.
"Good experience"
Clean rooms and great staff. Had no problem at all. Location was close enough to local restaurants which walking was easy enough. Besides ubering was cheap and easy from location. Front desk guys gave some good suggestions on good places to eat as well. I would definitely stay here again.
BWBurbankAirportInn, General Manager at Best Western Burbank Airport Inn, responded to this review

"Holiday in California"
We stayed 4 nights there at the beginning of our 13 days trip. The hotel is nice clean and I would say you get maximum for the money you pay. The breakfast was nice. Overall we were satisfied and I can recommend it. The Universal studios are 15-20 min by car.

"Cancelled reservation, charged in full."
I canceled my reservation over the phone on May 12th 2017, days before the May 15th deadline. I was told everything was all set. I just saw on my CC statement I am still being charged in full. Received an email that I checked out on May 17th; I did not so much as even drive by the building, much less check in and stay for any period of time. I hope this is just all a clerical error and will be rectified - I'll update my review accordingly if so.

"Great Hotel"
This hotel is perfect location for Universal. The beds are nice comfy, helpful staff and good breakfast. We were on a road trip through Cali, so it had easy access to highway 5 for us. Would definitely stay here again.

This Property is very I have nothing but Great things to say on this property... It is a great Place to stay. This property is VERY Clean and in a great Location....I Will Definitely Stay her again and I Definitely Recommend this Property to Every one~!!
"Close to Burbank Airport"
We needed a place to stay that was near the Burbank airport. This is a very nice hotel that has very comfortable beds. The breakfast had scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, breads, fruits, cereal, hard boiled eggs, yogurt and more. We will go back.
"Best Western Burbank Airport Inn, North Hollywood CA"
It's clean and close to the business I had to conduct the next day. I had to vet about 15 other properties to come up with this as the sole decent hotel in this area. It's not at the corner of Ghetto and Gang, but I wouldn't be wandering around outside this hotel after dark.
"Good hotel I think they should have check out at 12 instead of 11 yust my opinion but other wise good hotel"
Good hotel I think they should have check out at 12 instead of 11 that's my yust my opinion other wise the hotel was great breakfast was good had a little problem whith the control but it was good thank you
"Best and only place to stay in area"
Not the best overall area, full of hourly rate motels. A decent room and breakfast. We just needed a room for one night. It was sold out (given the options in the area, I can see why) and unfortunately our noisy room was the only option. We were on a busy street and below the breakfast room. The air conditioner fan helped a bit. I would stay here again if I needed to.
""when in LA""
If you find yourself in LA, but don't wish to stay in the heart of the city, then this hotel is for you. The rooms are very nice, Breakfast was a plus. My only wish was that they offered hotel shuttle service to and from Burbank Airport. But UBER was fine and not too expensive.
"Five stars!"
Stayed here because it was close to Universal Studios. The rooms were clean. Staff and service was great. They had a nice variety of breakfast (waffle, eggs, bacon, sausage, yogurt, cereal, bread, bagel, muffin, juices, etc! We will be back!
"Average"
Traveling with family and kids we like to relax by the pool. I really thought you had one. No lounging area either. Parking needs to be worked on. People would double park and would not pull forward in order to park behind them.
"Not the best experience"
The leaky faucets, musty smell, and noisy refrigerator that kept waking me up were really frustrating. I honestly think they're trying as it seemed clean. Just glad we only stayed 1 night as the neighborhood is a little sketchy.
"Great place to stay while visiting Universal Studios!"
The hotel was clean the surrounding areas not so much. The man who checked us in was polite & knowledgeable. FREE parking with watched cameras all around. & nice breakfast! Working fridg., coffee maker, wifi & Television!
"Awesome Stay"
super clean, the most comfortable beds , and amazing breakfast and staff. its super close to Universal Studios it was perfect for our mini sibling vacation would come again without a doubt. breakfast was hot and if you needed anything special (almond milk) they had it
"The breakfast makes up for everything."
Our room smelled of must/mold, but it was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The neighborhood is a little sketchy, but if you don't need to go out after checking in -- you're good! We stayed here after the day & dinner at Universal Studios. Their self-serve breakfast was excellent! I would stay here again JUST for the breakfast. It was free, as was wifi and parking. The "poor" room rating is due to the smell of must/mold.

"Great for the price!"
Found this room at midnight while in the area looking for one. Price was great and look safe so we went for it. Realized when we go in that we really got a good price for this room. Bed was very comfy and clean.

"Great comfortable, clean and quiet hotel"
We stayed here for one night before a visit to Universal Studios. The hotel is really great! Super comfortable rooms, good shower, clean and well kept. There is free parking (super hard to find these days!) and free breakfast, with loads of choices. Fresh waffles, yogurt with toppings, cereal, fruit, pastries and even eggs and bacon. We were pleasantly surprised with the quantity of choices and the quality of everything. The street the hotel is located is a direct exit from US-5, so getting in and out was quick. It's at an okay neighborhood, not great but didn't look dangerous to us. We drove to 1st street for dinner (16 min away), and Universal City Walk is even closer. Check in and check out were a breeze, and we will certainly stay here again.
"Room ok but seedy part of town"
As we were driving to motel, my wife wanted to go elsewhere. Neighborhood is pretty seedy. Most shops are all written in Spanish. As I approached the motel, I was shocked how a best western was so runned down. The lobby was and exterior could use a decent paint job that would improve its appearance somewhat. I will say once we got to the room, they were clean and bed was comfortable, and the breakfast wss ok, for this reason, it got the two stars from me. In a nut shell? It wasn't worth the $150 a night I had to spend.
"Good experience"
Very good breakfast buffet. Nice to have a workout room (exercise bike, treadmill, one multi-use machine, television). Parking is limited but was never impossible. No pool or hot tub. Very nice staff.
"Friendly, helpful staff"
Wanted to stay close to Burbank airport. This hotel was 6 miles away. Good hotel, well appointed rooms. Nice breakfast including waffles and bacon. Staff was very helpful. We had to catch an early flight--too early for breakfast so they fixed us a grab and go breakfast.
"Pretty good "
Staff were very nice to me and my family .Very comfortable bed nice breakfast and workout room. No noise . I Would Go again when visiting la , also there is no place to wash your clothes. Check out is at 11 am.
"Nice Hotel, location is not the best..."
Nice hotel in a run down location. The hotel itself was renovated a few years ago and still in very nice shape. Walls are thin, noisy area. Breakfast buffet is very good with hot eggs, bacon, sausage, good coffee. Rooms have been updated but plumbing is dated.
"Nice People, Nice Place"
I spent 4 nights here during a business trip to LA. With Platinum status, I was upgraded to one of the two-room suites. Room 305. This suite has a handicapped bathroom and a standard bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and the room very clean. Internet was speedy and consistent. The only caveat to this room is that it shares a wall with the exercise room and you can hear the treadmill when in use. Luckily, this only happened to me once. Overall, my stay was quiet and enjoyable. The staff was friendly but never intrusive. The breakfast was excellent and well attended to by the staff. I looked forward to breakfast every day. The parking was covered and well lit. I never had a problem parking there. The hotel is located in an industrial part of North Hollywood. There are a number of workshops, convenience stores, as well as apartment complexes. Busy. Pretty standard fare for LA these days. I lived in LA for 26 years before moving to Texas. Whenever I revisit, I'm always shocked at how many more cars and people can fit in this city! This hotel was perfect for my needs... functional not fancy, excellent price, location convenient to my work, and I will stay there again.
"Ok Hotel"
The front desk staff was very nice and friendly, always willing to help. My main hangs ups with this location was one major thing - Housekeeping. The sheets were not changed once. I laughed because every day the sheets were nicely tucked yet never new even after asked. Also there are ants in the bathroom. Quite honestly they seemed only contained to there so it was more of a nuisance not a out of control problem. But yes, don't leave makeup or travel bags open on the bathroom counter due to ants. The morning breakfast was not too great. Wish they had more cereal, as well as non scary paper like bacon. I found myself just drinking coffee and juice from that only. As for the area- if you're looking for a location which has all local attractions in under 30 minutes, this hotel is for you! A lot of reviews talk about how ghetto it was, and as a solo female traveler I prepped myself for the hood, thinking it would be Compton lol. It is a industrial Mexican neighborhood. The highlight is the 7-11 across the street. It isn't scary ,there's just nowhere to walk to and you definitely need a car. I saw one or two homeless people but these descriptions were a bit over exaggerated. Bottom line- decent, close to locations hotel if you get a very low rate.
"terrible hotel"
The location of this hotel is in the middle of nowhere. The staff was very nice, no luggage assistance, and the room was very dark, and smelled of urine. Parking at night was difficult. I left a day early and would not recommend this hotel.
"Great staff"
This is a very decent hotel with pleasant staff and reasonable rates. There are not many hotels this nice within the neighborhood so I frequent this frequently. So nice to find a safe place in LA. Good luck
"Very Nice And Clean Hotel"
Was very impressed with the whole staff they were always working never saw them just standing around. Keep up the great work!!! We had such a great stay, I highly recommen this hotel:-). We were very comfortable
"A hidden gem"
This was a great cozy hotel that was relatively close to the touristy parts of Los Angeles. The building was somewhat dated but the interior was well kept and clean. The staff was friendly and the complimentary breakfast was great. I would recommend this to anyone and I would stay again.
"Watch for unauthorized charges on your credit card if you stay here!"
Thought this was a reasonably good budget motel in a bad neighborhood but close to the airport, etc. until the unauthorized charges showed up on card. I assume it is some employee lifting the numbers off the card they make you give them when you sign in.
"Good quality hotel"
I must admit I had misgivings when I booked thru Priceline. I have heard & read a few not-so-good reviews about the hotel chain. For the price ($127 per day) I thought, what the heck; let's try. It was pretty close to locations where we wanted to go. Outside appearance wise, nothing outstanding: very ordinary & if you're not alert enough, you might go past the place as the sign is not 'elevated'. Lobby is very small but cozy: 2 small couches, tv & front desk is 2 steps away. It's well kept & clean. We checked in at night & receptionist was helpful & pleasant. Company has to make some rules though on employee appearance. The guy had full beard & moustache, long hair w/c made him look unkempt. Room wise, spacey enough. As soon as you go in, bathroom is immediately on left side; door opens outward so if you enter the room & bathroom door is open & somebody's in it....you can see everything unless person is behind shower curtain. Coffee maker is INSIDE bathroom below hair dryer. Next door is the hanger closet w/ flat iron & ironing board. A big cabinet console holds the tv, microwave, small tray w/ ice bucket, disposable cups, small ref. It has 3 drawers where u can put clothes & stuff. There's a small worktable & chair by the corner w/an extra chair between table & cabinet. 2 comfortable queen size beds w/ crisp, clean sheets & soft, fluffy pillows offer a good respite, a small bedside table separating them. Location wise, I have to say the surrounding area looks shady so just be careful walking at night; but convenient since Universal City/Studio is just approx. 20 minutes of literally straight driving on Lankershim Blvd & lots of food stores around (7/11 on the corner across). Parking (check website for rules), wi-fi, gym, breakfast is free; it's a smoke free hotel too! Surprisingly, they serve a fairly wide array of breakfast items. Waffle maker is fairly big to the delight of my kids so if you're a waffle eater, this one's for you! Ice machine located on 2nd floor, breakfast room on the 3rd. Overall, for the comfort it offers, cleanliness, location convenience I'd say, this place is a good bet!
"Best Western Burbank Airport Inn"
Extremely helpful, friendly professional staff. This hotel is a gem situated in an older area of North Hollywood but very close to Burbank airport, Universal City, and freeways. Great amenities and lots of parking. I was most impressed by their breakfast presentation which was a lot better than the majority of Best Westerns. The breakfast included scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, muffins, danish, bagels, cereals and more. Highly recommended.
"OK for the price"
This BW is not located in the best neighborhood of North Hollywood. It is, however, safe and clean and not a bad deal for the price. The staff was friendly enough and the room was clean. There is a lot of noise from the street. Did not experience breakfast at this location.
"Family Visit"
Although it's name includes "Airport," it is not as close as you might think. It is clean, updated, easily accessible, offers parking and the staff was friendly and helpful. No complaints; only compliments. The only disappointment was not having this stay reported by the desk attendant(s) for the "BW 2 different stay" promo which we were made aware of at another Best Western on a different leg of our trip. Guess I lost out on the $50 award.
"Family trip to California"
After spending five days in Anaheim, we moved to this hotel because it was affordable and close to Universal Studios. Staff was very nice. Breakfast room had hot and cold choices - my children loved making waffles every morning! - but after four days I was ready for a change.
"Vacations"
Excellent hotel, extremely clean, friendly stuff, and close to universal studios, to paramount studios in Hollywood, also very close to Hollywood hall of fame. I recommended this hotel in 100% as a fam trip, as a couple etc..etc... was an amazing experience. On behalf of my husband and myself thank you very much for your wonderful hospitality. We will keep in mind this hotel for next time.
"Comfortable."
This hotel is located in a rather nondescript neighborhood, but we found it to be very pleasant and quiet inside. We were upgraded to a two-bedroom suite, so had plenty of room to spread out. Competent and friendly front desk staff. Standard breakfast buffet in the morning. Some good restaurants within walking distance. Parking is in a garage, though some of it is tandem, and you have to leave your key at the desk if your car is blocking someone else's. Comfortable beds, fridge, microwave in the rooms.
"Good Place & Near Universal Studio"
I rented 2 rooms for 2 nights for me and my sister's family for the July 4th holiday. The hotel is near Universal Studio but the neighborhood appeared to be unsafe to walk in. Mike the Front desk staff who checked us in is very friendly. Although we did not get the Rollaway that were promised to us, David the front desk night shift staff helped us and gave us extra blankets and pillows so I can have my son sleep on the floor. The rooms are okay and clean. My sister's bathroom had a problem but front desk couldn't move them because the hotel is sold out that night. The breakfast is great! Laura who takes care of the breakfast is very friendly and helpful. She even offered to make waffles for my niece. I recommend this property if you're just staying for 1 or 2 nights to go to Universal Studio and need a place to stay in.
"Universal Studio trip"
This hotel was a good value, clean and quiet, not too far from Universal Studio. There is no pool or spa, but we were at the park most of the time. We had three rooms, a king, a queen/queen and a handicap suite with two bedrooms.
"Good place"
Very nice and clean hotel with a good variety of breakfast. I was there just for two nights with my girlfriend. No complaints, free wifi, location is good but we traveled in a rented car. Breakfast was the best.
"Ease of Access to Burbank Bob Hope Airport"
This property is very convenient to the Burbank Bob Hope Airport, but the neighborhood appeared to be unsafe to walk in. The motel is very clean and the room was comfortable. Parking was a bit inconvenient, as the parking garage had limited space, thus had stacked parking. The front desk employees were very nice. I was having to check out prior to breakfast being served, so they had prepared a "grab & go" breakfast for me to take.
"Clean and Quiet in the San Fernando Valley"
This is a nice basic hotel with clean rooms, comfortable beds, and friendly, helpful staff. A little more variety in decor would be appreciated -- we had the exact same print on all three walls of our room. Microwave and fridge are convenient, WiFi is free with strong signal. Free breakfast is plentiful and includes hot food. Located in a LMI neigborhood of strip malls and apartment buildings, but has indoor parking and no feeling of insecurity. Just minutes from two major freeways that give direct access to most LA area attractions, and convenient to Burbank airport. Would use again.
"Close to tourist attractions."
Rooms were very clean. Rooms were very quiet. Free breakfast bar had so many choices. Free wifi and very strong signal. Location is very close to attractions. Used Uber and all rates were very reasonable to all tourist attractions and LA airport.
"Universal Studios Visit"
Hotel was close to Universal Studios which was a plus. Hotel was very clean and beds were comfortable. Staff was very attentive and very helpful. Breakfast had a good selection. Would stay here again on our next visit to the Hollywood area.
"Upgraded!"
Family was booked for two regular rooms, but since none were available at that moment, we were upgraded to a suite! Good place to stay if you're planning to go to Universal Studios Hollywood. Includes a safe, covered parking lot.
"Short trip to visit UCLA with early flight out of Burbank airport"
Room was right next to breakfast room so started to hear chair nose around 6:30am. Voice noise was not noticeable. Room was comfortable size with room for luggage and still space to walk around. Bathroom was good size. I didn't like how the bathroom door opens out into the space for the external door since someone coming into the room could look into the bathroom if the door was open (e.g. just brushing your hair or something). Breakfast had a basic variety for that type of complimentary breakfast. Easy access to Burbank airport leaving hotel at 5:30am.
"Good Stay for the cost"
We stayed at Best Western during our visit to Universal Studios, LA. Free covered parking. The free breakfast truly conveniences the guests - good breakfast that's available till 10 / 11 a.m. The room is well-done and clean. There's a catalog to give you options for eateries around and tourist spots. Helpful staff. Don't need anything else for a short, budget stay.
"Basic, but works"
This is one of the more economical places to stay. The lobby isn't much and seems a bit questionable when you walk in, but the hotel is pretty nice. It gets a bad rap due to the neighborhood, but it really isn't all that bad. Parking is free, but tight. Breakfast is included and the waffles were amazing. Clearly, the hotel stays busy because of the price and it was rather cleanly. I would stay here again.
"Best Western Lankershim"
Very cordial, courteous, and helpful staff from top to bottom. Might not be the best neighborhood, but is certainly erased by the the staff and accommodations. Breakfast is good, with a wide variety. Bed was very comfortable, the A/C worked great.
"Keep looking"
Wouldn't recommend, Location is in a run down part of the city, lots of traffic and street noise. Parking situation is not ideal. Didn't use facilities so can't comment on those. Lobby and staff very nice and professional.
"Great hotel, excellent location"
Hotels in this general area tend to be expensive. This one, while not cheap, is a reasonably priced hotel with a great location, close enough to highways to be convenient but far enough away to be quiet. Nice working area in the room, and a very good hot breakfast. I will stay here again as I have to teach in Canoga Park six more times this year.
"Quiet, clean and comfortable"
This hotel is located near the Burbank Airport which we find much easier than LAX. The staff are friendly and helpful. A nice buffet breakfast is included in the daily rate, which we found very reasonable. There is a good sushi restaurant down the block, but not many other amenities nearby. We would stay here again when in the area.
"On my way to see Mom"
I want to return as I really liked the room and the family atmosphere of the place. I travel from SFO to LA to see my Mom and get her to her doctor's appointment on Monday. The location and distance to Mom is perfect from this North Hollywood location. Very pleasurable experience just wish I had time to use the exercise room. Just right for a short stay. I had very little contact with the staff but from my brief experience I am happy to say I liked what I observed. Thank you for the great room and just the right breakfast.
"good hotel, deceptive name"
The hotel is very good. Clean, comfortable and good staff. I recommend it to anyone. It does have a deceptive name in that it is not that near Hollywood Burbank Airport. That being said it was only a 15 minute drive to get there, and I don't think there is many facilities closer.
BWBurbankAirportInn, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Burbank Airport Inn, responded to this review
Thank you for your review and recommendation, I'm sorry you felt that our name is deceptive, but as you noted, we are closest Best Western to the Bob Hope/Burbank Airport being only 4 miles away. Thank you again for your positive remarks!
"Pleasantly Surprised"
The surrounding area is an ok area, but once we walked inside the lobby it was welcoming. We went up to our floor and saw the workout room, there are a few machines to get the job done while on vacation. Once we opened our room door I was surprised, the room was large the decor was lovely and clean. I've stayed at Best Westerns before, this room was really nice in comparison.
"Awsome Stay"
Great service from the front desk to house keeping. Good curb-side look, very clear interior of hotel and rooms, upscale looking in this part of town. Friendly staff with lots of pointers on local food, locations & ways to get there. Will stay again and every time I'm in the North Hollywood area. Mahalo!
"A home away from home"
I stay here about 70+ nights a year. The staff is extremely friendly, the room is comfortable and the breakfast is great. It is a great place to stay when visiting Los Angeles - Hollywood. Book early, the hotel is fully occupied every night.
"Satisfied"
Hotel and staff are great. Just wish it was somewhere closer to higher quality restaurants. Ie: Burbank. Palm and San Fernando. Food service was good, friendly lady serving the breakfast each morning. Beds are comfortable, Rooms are clean and doesn't smell. I like staying on the 3rd floor as that is where the work out room is and the breakfast buffet in the AM.
"Great Customer Service!"
This hotel fits the neighbourhood, in that it's not the freshest looking or newest around. While the facility may be older, it's not rundown at all, and the rooms are always in perfect order. What makes this place stand out is the rare as a unicorn old fashioned service that I've come to appreciate whenever I stay here. Kudos to the staff, you really make my stay better with great people, and a great place! ^___^
"Great rooms!"
We loved this hotel! A little worried when we arrived because it's not in the best neighborhood but would definitely stay here again. The rooms were spacious and very clean. We loved the continental breakfast. It was calm, quiet, and not very busy. Front desk was friendly.
"Cleaning Up"
If you want a roof over your head this is the place. If you want to feel as comfortable on the road as you are at home...this is NOT the place. It doesn't take much to make people feel warm and comfortable...this is LA but didn't feel like it.
"Busy trip in San Fernando Valley"
After 50 years, returned to the San Fernando Valley for an opportunity to visit relatives and found a tremendous amount of unexpected traffic. This Best Western was a welcome oasis in a busy area, quiet in rooms and adequate, no charge parking. Many other choices available but this Best Western had no frills and no extra charges.
"Very nice hotel"
This is the third time we have stayed at this facility. The neighborhood isn't the greatest, but finding somewhere nice but affordable in the area is very difficult. They do not have a lot of parking, so you may have to tandem park, but the front desk seems to have that managed. The rooms are beautiful, large ,very clean and appear to be very new. Breakfast is really good, lots of variety. I did find it interesting in the breakfast room, there is a sink with a sign stating to wash your hands, but they have no soap. Was told they don't offer soap at that area. Oh well, BYOS
"Would NOT recommend this hotel!!"
We've never had a hotel want to charge for extra pillows. We also wondered about the security of our room, as we opened the door without using the key, meaning someone could just walk into the hotel, and open our hotel room door without our or the hotel's knowledge.
"I Would Stay Here Again"
I stayed here because I went to the Rose Bowl Parade and wanted to be close to it without paying a lot of money. I spent 2 nights here. It's close to the I-5 freeway. The neighborhood is not so pretty, but the parking is free (Sometimes it's stacked so then you'll have to leave your car key with the front desk); the check-in was quick and easy; the staff was very helpful; the room was clean, quiet and comfortable (The bathroom was big.) and the free breakfast buffet was good enough! We LOVED the 2 suggestions by Mike (front desk staff) on where to eat: Chiba (Japanese restaurant 2 doors down) and Salsa & Beer (Mexican restaurant which we drove to). I would stay there again. I think we were in in rooms #218 & 220 (quiet side).
"Almost Okay"
This was our first time staying here or any BW hotels. Price is reasonable. Area is not pleasant which I can tolerate. Having a not-so-nice area I didn't expect to have a nice view and we just kept the window blinds shut. I liked that the hotel seemed newly remodelled and has modern interior. Thin walls though. I woke up at 12am hearing people next door talking. Bathroom was clean, no problem. Breakfast was nice. I didn't like the bfast staff lingering and kind of snooping. Made me felt uneasy. We found a BUG on the comforter the next morning and I'm glad none of us was bitten!!! I let the front desk know about the issue before checking out and gave him the bug I killed. All on all, I don't think we wil stay here again :-/
"Average Hotel, But Very Noisy"
An average hotel by Best Western standards. Extremely noisy inside and outside (especially outside). Small breakfast area, so you may have to wait awhile (not good if you have a plane to catch). The Best Western Hotel chain is pretty good overall, but not this Hotel.
"Hidden Gem"
Do not be put of by the exterior of this hotel or the neighbourhood - it is excellent if you need a stopover from A to B! We were travelling from Las Vegas to Santa Barbara and Best Western is always our first choice in such situations. The car park is small but they have an excellent system for ensuring everyone gets a spot and although the lobby is unassuming the staff were really efficient. BUT the room was great - very clean and neutrally decorated in boutique style. There is a small gym and the internet was a bit temperamental but we had a good nights sleep. We stayed for the complimentary breakfast and it was worth it! Laura keeps her breakfast room in tip top condition, no litter, no mess - it is all whisked away in an instant. You could eat off the floor it is so clean and the quality of the food was the best we had from this type of hotel on our road trip. She even helped us with the waffle machine which we are not familiar with - well done Laura, thank you!
"Very neat and affordable hotel"
Happy to have booked this hotel. Staff was very helpful, convenient to get around LA city. Free parking. Decent breakfast. Neat rooms. Economical. Would be better if it is location in a better neighborhood. I would recommend this hotel anytime
"Very clean..."
Very comfortable bed... Very cleaned.. Even though its located in a busy street, I didn't hear any noise of traffic.. Parking lot not too big but manageable.. I will consider this location to be my first option when I need to be in LA area, definitely a good place to stay. Thanks
"okay"
Beds were really comfortable! Lovely staff! But I found a bug crawling on my sheet plus when I pulled the covers back to make sure I was getting into clean sheets, I found a stain, as if it was dried blood.
"Second year staying "
We stayed last year on a free reward night. Clean large double room/bathroom. Completely renovated and updated. Wonderful beds...free breakfast. Waffles and eggs and bacon along with normal hotel breakfast bar stuff. Would give it a 5 but gym was small but usable and not the greatest location (we felt aafe though) or parking. I will definitely stay again though if needed. Very nice desk workers checking us in and out
"excellant"
it was a great stay and everyone was very friendly and the rooms were clean and the breakfast was great and they were very clean and my visit was very satasfied by everything that was offered for us and i will recommend this hotel to other people that are going to California.
"Pre-Thanksgiving Trip Stay"
On Tuesday, November 24th, I stayed over at the Best Western Burbank Airport Inn, in North Hollywood. My reason was so that I could get an early start on Wednesday and get to the North Hollywood Red Line Metro Station, to get to Work; then use that location to start a trip to the Bay Area on Wednesday. I had a nice stay at the Best Western. My room was nice and clean, and I experienced a smooth check-in and check out. IF I can one thing, it is to the staff monitoring the breakfast room: please make sure that there is plenty of cream and nonfat milk, first thing in the morning. Especially for those of us who like to add milk to a cup of coffee. I noticed that the lowfat milk pitcher was not full; this should be one of the first orders of business. I might stay here, again, next year, as a "starting off point" for a July trip to Lake Tahoe.
"Excellent Value"
We stayed on the third floor, near the breakfast area. The room was nice and clean, and the breakfast was above average. Fast WIFI...easy to connect. The location is not the nicest area in LA, but the hotel met all of our needs.
"Great hotel!"
My wife and two kids drove down to Disneyland from Northern California and instead of staying in the park the last night for the ridiculous Disney rates, we decided to book this hotel the last night to cut an hour off of our trip back. The location of the hotel isn't the greatest but for our purposes it was fine. The hotel clearly has been redone recently and was very comfortable and their breakfast spread far exceeded expectations as it included scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, in addition to the traditional continental breakfast cuisine (eg cereals, baked goods, yogurt, etc). I am so glad we stayed here!
"OK Room in Not Very Desireable Location"
We picked this property because of the free parking, Wi-Fi and breakfast but now wish we would have gone elsewhere. The hotel is OK if all you want to do is sleep (it is clean and functional) but there are no restaurants nearby and no outdoor space where we could enjoy the 80 degree weather.
"GREAT SERVICE"
Our stay was very pleasant. My fiance and I were happy with the room service. They offer healthy breakfast. Every day our room was cleaned, clean towels, clean sheets... We will choose this hotel on our next visit to California.
"good value"
This is a good value hotel for the north LA area. The room was comfortable and quiet and the parking free. Nothing fancy but it made a good base for a family visit. The fitness room is minimally equipped, but there is one. The wifi worked well. There is good access to freeways.
"Very noisy"
This hotel is located on a high traffic boulevard with constant traffic during the night - including trucks and motorcycles. I was assigned to a room facing the main street. The room was very noisy making it hard to sleep. I will try to avoid this hotel in the future.
"Low toilet, dangerous shower, evil artwork"
We had stayed here several years ago and everything was fine. Now the hotel has remodeled and created the above problems. Otherwise the bed was comfy and the room was nice. The refrigerator and microwave were very helpful. However, we won't stay here again due to the difficulties we encountered..
"best western fall 2015"
great place at a convenient location, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, clean rooms, indoor parking (if parking lot is full staff will park your car). I would recommend this place to anyone traveling to Hollywood.
"Good not great stay"
The beds were comfortable and the staff was courteous. The only draw back was the cleaning staff were a bit slow. We left to go shopping for a few hours and when we returned, the hadn't touched our room yet. So when they did arrive, we were taking a nap and just received clean towels.
"Good Hotel hidden in a sketchy side of town - very reasonable rates,"
This hotel is very reasonable, very comfortable bed, clean room and good service. The breakfast room is very good. Laura the attendant is very helpful and accomodating. This is the second time we have stayed here while we visited family. Don't pay attention to the neighborhood, just use the hotel. We stayed for 4 nights. Best rate around for a good hotel.
"stay at Garland Hotel 5 miles away"
not up to par with all the other Best Western Hotel we have stayed at. Will not ever stay again. Smelly rooms.. Good location for Bob Hope airport but there are many more options I will use next time.
"Clean, safe, and a great value!"
We went as a family of 8 and got 3 rooms. Age ranged from 12 to 71. Pulling up we were all a little leery, however it turned out to be a great experience. There are several great restaurants within walking distance from the hotel and we never had an issue with parking, with either of our vehicles. The staff was extremely helpful and polite and the breakfast was fantastic and offered a variety of food -waffles, cereals, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, pastries, eggs, sausage, bacon, coffee, juice, and a large variety of Stash teas! The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and we would definitely stay there again.
"Dreadful!"
The room itself, while old and small was ok. But the dirty, noisy neighborhood was scary. You don't want to go out on foot. Amenities are zilch. TV didn't work until fixed and TV guide in the room was completely wrong. Please go someplace else!
"Free parking"
The location is not the best, but everything depends on where you need to go. For me it was great because it was in the middle of the places I needed to go to. I was driving, so I didn't have to walk the neighborhood, but it is kind of dark and rough on the edges. This hotel offers free parking and I check multiple hotels and in North Hollywood/Burbank, not a lot of them do. It is not a brand new hotel, but it is clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and the breakfast has enough choices for you to find something to eat.
"Best Western Burbank"
I am a diamond member and this hotel is very good. The appearance of the building as well as the interior is up to date and nice. The breakfast is pretty good with a decent selection and is probably one of the nicest BW's I have stayed in as most are old and not up to date. The only not so good thing is the neighborhood as it is dicey at best and parking is cramped, but otherwise it was a very good experience.
"Really Comfortable Stay!"
This is a very nice hotel. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room very quiet! Nice and clean and free breakfast in the morning! The staff is friendly and helpful and great at information for the surrounding area! Would definitely return!
"Great stay, comfy room"
The Best Western Hotels have completely renovated their motels and hotels. You can find a BW hotel in almost any US City. Our King Bed was pillowy, the breakfast was excellent, good internet connection, and the price was right. This one was close to 2 freeways, so driving to our family event was easy. Discounts available for CA AAA and for AARP. Can't beat that.
