This is 1-2 hours from the Salt Lake City International Airport so an easy distance if you've arrived late or are leaving early. We stopped on the way back from Zion National Park. It is pleasant, quiet and has a pool. The staff was very friendly and helpful with a list of restaurants and free cookies in the afternoon. Breakfast was good-enough choices and well prepared, nothing fancy of course.
Expensive! Way too pricey for what is offered. Room was clean but noisy. Terrible breakfast. Would not recommend or stay here again.
This hotel in badly in need of an update. Staff was more then friendly but the property is 2 star at best.
I have to say Best Western Hotels used to be my "go-to" Hotel - everywhere. But now that I travel with two dogs I have learned that Pet Friendly does NOT mean I'm staying at a quality hotel. Over the past two years, almost without exception, Pet Friendly means the crappiest room available. We stayed one night in Nephi & it was the worst, sleepless night I've ever had. The hotel was not full, especially not when we arrived. After a day of traveling, we were ready for some rest. Unfortunately the opposite happened. About 10:30pm, something startled my dogs & they wouldn't settle back down. They finally did, but they woke up again at midnight. Got them settled again & at 3:30am someone got to the room directly above us & until a little after 4am we heard "stomp, stomp, stomp up the stairs, stomp across the floor, toilet flush, shower on, shower off, stomp to bed, TV on. It was a relief when the heater came on every few minutes to drown out the noise. Now for the positives: office staff was kind & fixed the problem we had with the TV (Thank you Rene), the TV has a TON of channels, NO carpet in the pet friendly room. I know Best Western used to be a mid range hotel where you could get a comfortable, clean room but sadly that no longer seems to be the case.
Not thrilled. Room was clean, beds comfy. The outside area, stairs and balcony was disgusting. Filthy carpet was duct taped to the stairs. Looked as though a few people had vomited in the stair well and it had been briefly hosed off. Needs a pressure washing at the very least. It doesn't matter how clean the room is if you're tracking that grossness in onto your carpet. Take your shoes off I guess. Breakfast was rubbery eggs, limp bacon and some kind of roll up which we spit out into our napkins. Had no contact with the staff.
It's not The Ritz but expecting that from a Best Western isn't at all realistic (who actually stays at The Ritz anyway? Not us!). Our room here was spotless and comfortable. Decor was pleasant as well. We had a king bed on the first floor (room 121) which was convenient to ice and dining room, but also more protected from the highway noise. The HVAC wall-mount unit may look dated but it did it's job well. I was delightfully surprised at the continental breakfast! Breakfast burritos, chicken taquitos, hot French toast sticks, the usual subpar paper thin bacon and scrambled eggs ;) — just do the burrito, it was delicious - Greek yogurt, yogurt parfaits, several cereal and oatmeal flavors, along with various toppings, boiled eggs, and the expected bread options. Extra points for having such a great tea bag collection! We'd stay here again and don't hesitate recommending it.
A nice Best Western, exactly what I expect of them. Nice, clean room. Great bed. All the amenities. Breakfast room small but very well stocked and attended. Well maintained from what I saw. I would definitely consider returning if I needed to be in this area again.
Room was very dirty. Empty cat food container next to the bed and cat/dog hair all over.I asked for a refund to which we were told to call corporate. We left and stayed at the Woods Cross BW and it was wonderful!
Guests upstairs partied very noisily until 3:30 am. Desk clerk initially said she could not stop them & there were no other rooms. Phone calls were unanswered. We did not sleep. Left before 4 am. We will not choose Best Western again.
Will not return unless there is a new heating system installed in the rooms. We requested and we're reassured that it not the same as when we had last stayed in January 2022 and November 2022. Check out seemed poorly handled and could not give us a receipt.
We were lucky enough to have the end room with a view, but even if you don't score that, this motel is a great spot to stay on a road trip. It was very clean, comfortable beds, quiet both in terms of traffic and other patrons, and the breakfast was good. My only suggestion is to remove some of the decorations on the tables in the lobby so that there are more seats where it is comfortable to eat breakfast.
This is a handy and cozy stop on a road trip. We had experienced terrible road conditions and we so thankful to have booked a room here. I booked online once we knew where we planned to stop. Got a great rate. This hotel was full both times we stayed there in Nov/Dec 2022.
We had been on the road for 4 days driving through freezing storms. Feeling the need for a hot shower and a warm bed. Best Western was comfy cozy. A wonderful night sleep and a warm breakfast then we were good to go.
The room was clean and as expected, sadly the pool was undergoing a refurbishment so was unavailable. The check in staff helpful and there was a discount available at one of the local eateries. The complimentary hot breakfast was both complimentary and hot, and possibly best avoided. There was however a good selection of fruit, muffins and cereal. For us it served it's purpose as a quick stop just of the interstate
There was very little breakfast food or coffee at 8:00 AM. We came back at 9:00 am and nothing had changed except there was lukewarm coffee. The room was clean and comfortable however I would not stay here again.
Who on earth is rating this hotel? Upon check-in, the receptionist kept scratching her hair and then handling everyone's credit cards. Her finger nails were completely filthy! The lobby had a horrific odor that reeked of some cleaning product, but completely gross. Upon checking into our room, with windows that did not open, the room smelled the same way, but worse because of the enclosed space. The fan did not help. This is not a weak smell, but one that is so strong you have to wonder what happened in the room to have required that level of cleaning product. There was a huge, semi-dried large round of dog poop just on the walkway outside of our room. What a horrible experience and I wish we had just stayed in the car a bit further to the Hampton Inn near Salt Lake City. DON'T EVER STAY AT THIS BEST WESTERN.
Have always been very happy with Best Western hotels but this one did not meet my expectations One of the beds looked like it had been used , the desk clerk said she had had someone in the room for a short time before she moved them to another room!! the phone didn't work the shower tap was labeled wrong there was an ant trap in the bathroom
We have stayed at this pet friendly hotel many times and the staff are always very friendly and accommodating. There is an excellent indoor pool and hot tub. The breakfast is excellent. Prepared to be able to eat in the room.
This was a pleasant surprise. From the outside it looks a little dated. We were on the road and snow and wind sent us to this location near I15. They gave us the last room. So our expectations were very low. The room was clean and comfortable. Beds were very comfortable. Bathroom updated and very nice. It had a coffee pot a refrigerator and a microwave. The room was very clean and well-maintained. The breakfast was one of the best breakfast that we've had on the road. Not a huge selection. But if you want cereals, fruit, yogurt and coffee it's ok. But the fresh burritos and taquitos were super good. The staff was very nice and friendly.
GM was very friendly & helpful at check in. Our king sized room was clean & comfortable. This BW is older, is 2 floors (doors are outside) & just be aware has no elevator. Can be a big negative for some. Parking lot is well lit. Very quiet. The morning clerk (I didn't get her name) was also friendly & helpful. The hot morning breakfast was good. Everything was individually packaged (eggs, sausage, burritos). Unable to eat in lobby d/t covid.
It was a quiet room. The breakfast is so-so, but there is no where to really sit and eat. Close to interstate 15, which is nice. Overall I would consider it a bit pricy for what you get. But not a terrible place.
Our daughter and her family just moved to Nephi and we planned a trip to celebrate a late Christmas with them and ring in the New Year. We reserved an AirBnB in Nephi but the host cancelled a week before our arrival due to their vacation plans changing. There were no other AirBnB options nearby so we looked at reviews for local hotels/motels. Good reviews on different websites pushed us to the BW and we were not disappointed. We reserved two rooms. The staff was wonderful from the start. Loretta and Melissa go the extra mile to take care of guests. I called to see if we could get adjoining rooms or close proximity right after I made the reservation online. They made it happen. The rooms were spacious and the mattresses were comfortable. The pillows not so much. The decor is updated and the amenities as advertised. Most importantly for us, the rooms and bathrooms were clean. The Grab & Go Breakfast was very good, especially the taquitos and cheesy potatoes. All in all, a great stay at a very nice property.
If in the area I will stay here again. I let them know I was traveling with dogs. They pointed out the pet area and took great care of me. Breakfast was great. Everything packaged separately, so I could grab what I wanted and take it back to my room to eat.
For staying in Nephi, UT, you cant do much better. It's a little dated perhaps, but I was there on business. Room was clean, coffee was good and the place was quiet. You can't ask for more. I did have the power trip out once (breaker tripped when I started the microwave). However, they fixed it immediately.
This is a beautiful hotel, recently renovated. The contractors were finishing up renovations the day we checked in. Looks the the whole exterior was painted along with upgrades to the landscaping and pool. Great hotel with awesome breakfast and very friendly staff.
Old 1990 colors, shower didn't work, not Best Western quality. Rugs thrown around outside door, top floor closed, bad lighting, Really loud heater/cooler. Not recommended. Under construction, used cheapest fixtures possible.
Headed south and this was the last best place for our travel plans. For an older property, things were done well. The room and common areas were clean and updated. It was a fine accommodation. The breakfast was good and we were able to get a comfortable night of sleep and then got back on the road in the morning. It was easy to check in and exceeded expectations.
The desk clerk was friendly. The exterior of the building appeared to be undergoing a paint job. Unfortunately, the improvements were limited to the exterior of the building. There was a grab bar in the shower. The room lighting was poor. The room lacked adequate electrical outlets. The AC/Heating unit was located in the bathroom wall (cooling the sleeping area made the bathroom uncomfortably cool). There were no shopping or dining options close by. Breakfast was a grab and go with limited choices (we arrived midway through the breakfast period and some items were already out). We would not stay here again. The room rate was on of the highest we encountered on a 3 week trip.
Room recently renovated (nice job) but they didn't change out the shower tiles which were covered in mildew. Stairwells were filthy. Check-in very slow....waited at least 15 minutes b/f a desk clerk actually showed up
We specially came here for the hot tub, so called ahead to find out the hours of operation. We were told it was available until 11pm and so we booked. We got changed and headed over only to see that it was empty. The front desk staff said the tub hasn't been operating in months. They said there was no manager on duty until Monday (it was Saturday). The mattresses are sagging enough to hurt our backs. There appears to be a topper to act as a cover. The remote for the TV was broken. Do better for this price!
We selected this location as it was close to a wedding we were attending. We were severely disappointed as we had to shower our entire family in cold water as we got ready for a wedding. Super annoying.
This hotel far exceeded my expectations regarding cleanliness, upkeep of groups and customer service. The pet rooms were carpet-free which is a fantastic idea. So many times pet friendly rooms have stained, dreary-looking carpeting. The rooms looked recently remodeled and the grounds were pristinely maintained. My only complaint is the noisy air conditioner in the room. The location of this hotel was right off the highway and there was plenty of green space to walk dogs. I highly recommend.
The exterior of the Inn seems to be old, but the rooms feel like were remodeled recently that provides clean and confrontable room to stay. We used the reward point to redeemed the night, but overall price online is decent. An indoor pool is in the middle of the separated property that is large enough to have 2 or 3 families to play in. Most rooms are facing west to farm fields which offer a very nice and great view. Room is spacious that four of us don't feel packed. Two things for improvement are internet speed and the amount of breakfast availability. Overall was a good experience to our family.
We were so hot and tired traveling from CA to Nephi. We just wanted to eat, shower and go to bed. The room took forever to cool, the shower did not work and breakfast was the worst I have ever had at BW.
While the property itself is OK, the odor and unclean floors in the room were bad enough to where we rolled up the two room rugs and put them in the armoire. We used Lysol wipes to go over floor again (we had these with us due to Covid concerns-luckily!) and we made it through our one-night reservation.
Thought the Best Western sign would assure me of a decent place. Not true. Lobby was average but the room, terrible. Even walking to the room was eye opening. The walkway hadn't been swept of trash in quite a while. Liquid stains on the concrete. Then, upstairs, the ceiling lights were burnt out. Major security issue. The room was average sized with the usual amenities. My queen bed was made up with king sheets. The floor in the bathroom was sticky. The sink and counter area was dirty. The coffee maker had white stuff in the water reservoir. The tube had a steady drip and couldn't be shut off. The HVAC system was so loud you couldn't have a phone conversation or hear the TV. Easily the worst Best Western room I've ever been in. Also, the very active railroad is close. I should've driven another 30 minutes to Provo.
the hotel was very clean and kept updated. the hotel was offering full breakfast which was amazing! the staff was very friendly and were very professional. would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again when will visit the town,
From check in to departure, our one night stay here went smoothly. Easy to find, clean room, great HOT breakfast with individually wrapped items. There is a beautiful view of mountains. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Couple of issues with the room, primarily that the toilet was very low.
The hotel is perfect for pets. Drive up to your door. There is a school next door with large playground and sidewalks. The breakfast set up is beautiful with lots of options. No tables to sit and eat however. Kind of weird because we have stayed at a dozen hotels in the last year and this place has the best breakfast with no table dining. There are some chairs and small coffee tables in the lobby where you can sit and eat. If it works out we always stay here during our travels.
Everything was clean except a small bit of mildew on the bathroom window. This location is either new or recently redecorated. Breakfast was variable. Everything was prewrapped so we picked up what we wanted and ate in our room which is what we wanted to do anyway.
We usually like Best Westerns because they are pet-friendly and decent value for the cost. Unfortunately, this location uses terribly strong-smelling cleaning solutions and air-fresheners . We arrived around 5pm, and after realizing the smell, we opened the room door, bathroom window, and turned on the ac/fan. We had to wait outside because headaches were starting. ugh. After an hour, the smell had not dissipated at all and we found it to be intolerable. We were exhausted after a day of driving down from Jackson, WY and this was a pit stop on our way to Sedona, AZ. But, there was no way we could stay here. We decided to cut our loses and book a room further south at a Comfort Inn in Fillmore, UT. This was part of an 11-day road-trip with many stays at Best Westerns (for example, the Best Western in Fallen, NV, and the BW at The Riverside in Boise were both great), and a few other hotels. No other location had this problem with the intense, overwhelming, fake chemical smells. I would NOT recommend this Best Western. We complained to the front desk and they just suggested we air it out. After an hour we let them know we had to leave. No refund was given, which technically is within their agreement, but not great customer service. Oh well. Hopefully they will learn about the dangers of indoor chemical scents (indoor air pollutants). The American Lung Association has a lot of good information on this topic.
Very nice folks at desk , nice housekeeping team , great room and best breakfast in my travels. Bathrooms had nice shower and everything was great during my week and 1/2 stay here at Best Western Nephi
Check in was efficient and easy. Highway noise was no problem. Only problem I had was with the air conditioner, the room never seemed to really cool down and it was very loud. Check out was also very easy.
Convenient location off the freeway. We elected to stay here as we had an open truck bed full of items, plus motorcyle, and we were able to park right outside our door. The hotel staff was very nice. The rooms are dated. A/C worked well. TV has a lot of channels. Breakfast was sausage and egg muffins with juice, coffee, some fruit and danishes It was a scaled down breakfast due to the covid virus. The people above us were noisy. So if you can get the 2nd floor that would solve the problem. Housekeeping needs to be better. The Nebo Market has absolutely fabulous fried chicken! We took that to the city park and had a nice meal.
Stopped off of the night with family on southwest family road trip. Check-in was easy, friendly staff, room comfortable, shower handle needed repair, tub backed up. Getting hot water to come out was near impossible. Got a good night sleep though. Option of breakfast to go in a.m. due to COVID-19 restrictions. Standard Best Western.
Between the dead French fries behind the television, the used coffee pod in the coffee maker, and the overall un-clean feeling this property evokes, I would recommend avoiding. The General Manager is quite nice and is about the only redeeming factor for this very used motel. The debris that had collected in front of our room, along with a dead mattress that had been unceremoniously dumped next to our parking place, telegraphs a very unclean approach to housekeeping.
I expect that with reduced occupancy hotels and motels would be focused on deep cleaning their rooms. Not so at this Nephi Best Western. Avoid it. We found a days-old coffee pod in the coffee maker, "dead" French fries behind the TV, water spots all over the floors (which are Pergo, by the way), and a broken shower handle (or at least very loose). The overall property is filthy. From the years-old mattress unceremoniously dumped next to a trash bin in the parking spot recommended for our room, the wind-blown debris piled up next to the door to the room, the overall look and feel of this motel is terrible. We will NOT be coming back. Will try the properties further south in Beaver and maybe Cedar City.
Convient location just off the freeway. Check in clerk was excellent. Room was clean and comfortable. Did not take advanatage of the breakfast but heard from friends it was good considering the times. Would recommned this hotel
I don't usually choose this hotel brand but after our stay in Nephi I will consider them in the future. It was clean, staff was responsive and friendly, I felt safe, & most of what I needed was there.
Great hotel to stop on our travels south. We have stayed here many times and have always been more then satisfied. Great breakfast. Internet good. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Have always had great service
We were so impressed with our stay. The room was clean and comfortable and lived up to to its online description. The woman at the front desk (Loretta is destined for great things) was amazingly helpful, friendly and cheerful...all while working a 24 hour shift. The breakfast was awesome. The pool was OPEN. Wish all our overnight motels were like this one.
We were caught in a white out snowstorm and were forced to stop for the night in Nephi. The hotel was clean and the beds were comfy. The breakfast was great with lots of choices. The stay would have be great if not for the horrible overhead noise from the guests above us. We were in bed at around 10:00 pm when they arrived. We could gear suitcases rolling followed by jumping, loud talking, and constant walking. This went on for over 2 hours. We didn't get a great night's sleep. I could recommend this property, but only if you stay on the top floor.
Great customer service and pet friendly hotel. Everything about this stay was perfect. Pleasant staff with easy check in and out. Clean room and great breakfast. My third time staying at this hotel, and it never disappoints. Will definitely be back!
Best points: 1. Great Customer Service 2. Amazing Breakfast I enjoyed: - renovated room with a omfy bed - great WiFi / internet (streaming quality) - Large breakfast that I really enjoyed - the staff gave me a nice and quiet room My only recommendations are: - maybe have a few more breakfast cereal choices - I would have liked to use the hot tub (it was closed during my stay) Overall, I was very happy with my stay, slept well, and would love to return in the future.
This motel was clean, nicely furnished, with firm mattresses and provided a fine breakfast with lots of options. Ideal for families traveling as well as individuals. A short drive away from the fast foods and gas stations. Nice place.
We stayed at this hotel because of the TripAdvisor reviews, but we really would not give this hotel more than a 3 star overall rating. We were here during Thanksgiving week and we were given a room upstairs, as requested. The room was cold, the wall unit for cooling and heating was cranked up to 80 for heat and still did not warm the room to an acceptable level. In addition the bedding was just a sheet with a thin coverlet. We obtained extra blankets, but froze all night with the wall heater continuing to noisily cycle. The room was clean and bathroom was clean, but everything was so cold, we left the next morning. It would probably be acceptable if the outside temp wasn't 27 degrees! Otherwise bring your own blanket!
The hotel is very clean and the front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. My husband and and I have stayed here several times on our travels and will stay here again. It's very close to the interstate which is convenient.
Stayed here as a resting spot before heading back to Salt Lake City from the National Parks. Room was clean and mostly quiet. Our room was on the second level just above the vending machines. There was a group of people hanging out in the vending area talking quite loudly, which was a bit disturbing. However, they broke up their party by 10 pm so we were able to get a good nights sleep. The free breakfast was the best we had on our week long vacation. Several hot choices (sausage, eggs, waffles, biscuits & gravy, oatmeal), pastries, cereals, fruit, yogurt, coffee & teas.
Stayed at this hotel as part of a road trip from Polson, MT to Phoenix, AZ. Had been driving all day and was ready for a nice rest. I usually try to stay at a Best Western and was fortunate to find this one at the right time and place. The night clerk, Loretta, was very nice and accommodating. She put me in a room that she thought would be the most quiet and it was. I had very good nights sleep and was ready to go in the morning. The room was very simple but very clean and comfortable. I was very happy with my stay and would stay there again.
We stayed one night on our way to Montana and stayed one night also on the way back. It was a nice half way place to stay. Very nice people and clean rooms. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and very convenient!
My boyfriend and I booked at the Best Western in Nephi and we had no complaints. It was extremely clean and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable and all of the falsity's were top notch clean.
This hotel has ample parking if you are driving or towing a large vehicle. The staff is wonderful - very polite and friendly. The room I stayed in was very clean and spacious, which was nice. There are plenty of towels in the room as well. Amenities worked well (fridge and microwave) and the breakfast was your standard fare, but good.
We stayed at the Best Western in Nephi, Utah June 19, 2019. It was clean and comfortable. the breakfast had a good variety of food choices. The pool area was clean and for a motel pool the pool size was great. There was also a play area for children which our grandson liked. Easy access on and off the freeway. Staff was helpful and friendly. Would stay here again. Price was ok.
Spent one night here on a 3 week trip through Utah. It appeared to be recently renovated. Our room was reasonably clean, the bed was comfortable and we drown out any hotel noise by turning on the fan at night when we sleep. The tub in our room had a constant drip, so I informed hotel staff when we left. They seemed concerned and planned to correct the issue. Breakfast was good. It included omelettes, sausage, buurritors, muffins/pastries/breads, waffles, yogurt, oatmeal (not instant), 3 cereals, juices, etc. We would stay here again if we were in the area. There was a train across the hwy that we heard about 9a, but didn't hear it before that.
It is a nice place but a bit spendy.. I don't do pools, but it looked great! They have breakfast onsite. It was really great. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. Nephi is a fabulous small town, if you looking for excitement you might want to go somewhere else!
The room cleanliness was lacking. It smelled of pet urine. The problem with pet friendly rooms is that they are always occupied by pets. The cleaning staff needs to properly trained to clean these rooms with out just using a deodorizing spray.
Excellent staff in Nephi. I enjoyed my stay and even my dog was impressed. I will be stopping there every time I travel on I 15. Please pay special attention on how beautiful you are treated. the girls even made sure my automobile was safe.
We stayed at the Paradise Inn for convenience. I usually don't like to stay at freeway exit hotels, as they don't usually have an incentive to provide that "extra" service. But wow! At check-in, the lady acted as though she was making her friend (me) be comfortable, to know of the local amenities in town. Then the breakfast experience was amazing. Real plates, glasses and silverware. A very good variety of selections for breakfast. Yogurt in cups, different flavors, with granola and toppings to make an individual meal-not just a miniature cheap yogurt cup. Better than normal selections of the hot foods. The staff was very attentive. Go stay there!
The rooms were literally brand new (carpet, paint, tile, curtains, etc) and the beds were quite comfortable. Bonuses were huge TV, huge mini-fridge, microwave, and sink in separate room from toilet. Very clean, well maintained pool and playground. Very enjoyable stay.
This is the nicest place to stay in Nephi by the looks of the outside. Not very busy and so it was pretty quiet. The swimming pool and hot tub were not working which made our kids sad, but the lady at the front desk said someone had vandalized it the week before. This was an older hotel that had been updated so it looked nice. The pillows were not very comfortable, but everything else was nice.
I was treveling to Reno and steped in nephi for the night. It wasn't to far from the freeway. We booked this hotel because of the reviews. The room that we had was good, no complaints. If I ever pass through in future will stay here again.
Motel was kept up to date. The rooms looked like they had gone through renovations. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I must say breakfast was one of my favorite things about this hotel. The breakfast had so many options to pick from. The staff working at the hotel was very kind. also there was a really good restaurant the hotel guided me i think it was called lisa's so if you are in town try the restaurant also.
I picked this hotel because of the distance from the HWY. Trying for less highway noise, that was a success. The train, was only heard until between 10 & 11 p.m., but for a light sleeper still was tolerable. The remodeled room that we were in (double queen, pet friendly) was nice. We liked the fact that there was no carpet in the room, but a few area rungs. The box springs or the frame was very noisy with every movement. If the other customers were a little bit better about respecting other visitors when they check in late, we would not have heard a thing. (We do travel with earplugs). I would totally stay here again. I might inquire about the creaky beds first.
After long drive we pulled on to this hotel because it had the best rating in the town, my wife is really picky of where she wants to stay. This motel was very well maintained . Breakfast was really good, we had plenty to choose from. it relaxed us from the long drive. would stay here on my way back for sure. thank you guys for good service.
This property is very well maintained and staff is very friendly. Location is great. Breakfast was offered and pool area is nice. Room was perfect as expected of any best western. I would stay here again without a doubt!
After chaos of traffic in Salt Lake City our stop in Town of Nephi was a pleasant break from driving. Room was clean and modern. The breakfast was first rate. The staff was quite helpful as we were travelling via van and trailer and needed extra room to park.
Room was very new - don't know if all rooms are done yet. Generous size, great layout, good lighting. good ventilation. Breakfast above average for BW, close to BW+. Good location, easy to go for a walk after being in the car for hours.
Comfortable bed and pillows, clean room, great breakfast, and helpful staff. Smaalll town hotel, easy freeway access, with nearby gas stations and restaurant. Has outdoor pool. Breakfast was a step up from some of the typical ones.
The roads were rather iffy so decided to call it a day, this motel was close to the freeway. The staff was friendly and helpful from check-in through breakfast and express check out. The breakfast was excellent--a hot meal--good choices. Would recommend and would stop again. We have used this motel in the past also.
We stay here whenever we travel because it is convenient and never disappoints. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this place to stay. We travel infrequently and appreciate the consistency.
Always stay here traveling from Montana to Tucson, AZ and back. Great place to refresh after a long drive. Decent breakfast selection and available computer to check the important travel related info.
The staff here is wonderful. Check in was friendly, professional and fast. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is just right. My husband especiallly like having a cookie or two when we arrived. I highly recommend.
This was a great hotel. Rooms were clean and pool area was nice and clean. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was AMAZING - and Tina who cooked the breakfast was especially nice! There was only 1 issue that prevented me from giving 5-stars. The pillows that we had were _horrendously_ uncomfortable! I have never slept on a worse pillow. My wife hated them too. They were so lumpy and so thick it pushed your head up by about 6 inches. We didn't sleep well at all. For the love of God replace those pillows!! Bleh! The Ultra Cluster Fiber Pillow from the American Hotel Register is wonderful! Try it!
It was nearly impossible to sleep with several trains running throughout the night and “blowing their horns” I know the hotel certainly can't do anything about that but I wish I would have been warned - and they had offered the inexpensive throw away ear plugs. Hotel was clean and breakfast buffet was fair. Very accommodating for pets
Wonderful hotel and great staff! Rooms have been remodeled, I had a pet room and it was squeaky clean. Nice new flooring and no carpet, bed was very comfortable. There are two floors but no elevator. An area to walk your dog and a small playground for the kids. Close to I-15 but quiet. Restaurants and gas stations nearby. Didn't have the breakfast, just coffee, but it looked good.
Excellent bed & the best breakfast! No instant oatmeal here! Homemade oatmeal with great toppings! My husband was impressed with having porcelain mugs for your morning coffee! Omelettes, bacon & two types of potatoes, & all kinds of breads!! One of the best breakfast's ever!
Check in was helpful and went well. The rooms were recently redone, but one of our rooms smelled of smoke even though it is labeled as non smoking. Breakfast was good with lots of choices. The room doors open to the parking lot (no hallways just balconies) so it was a bit noisy. Overall it was just an okay place to stay.
I have to say this motel was the best I have ever stayed at. Wow, what great ladies at the front desk they are so nice and polite. They were very very helpful in telling us about the motel and the city what was going on and in general just really nice down to earth ladies. My wife and I were so impressed this was truly an excellent experience with this motel. I will surely share with my friends and family. The motel was so clean inside and outside an amazing motel everything brand new the breakfast was plentiful and tasteful. I will definitely stay at this motel again. We came with 20 other people for a weekend of fun and to enjoy Utah we are all from California. Utah is a beautiful state and has an awesome motel, pleasant people. To all you travelers you must stay at this motel don't settle for 2nd best this one is 1st class. Good valued prices, accommodations and awesome people what else could you ask for? Special thanks to the nice ladies that made it a perfect stay. Melissa, Tina, MaryAnn, and Missy are # 1 in our book they took perfect care of all our needs. Above and beyond. Thanks, Ladies.
The room smelled like cigarette smoke. Someone was smoking somewhere near the air conditioning unit and when they did, the smell blew right into the room. My 10 year old son had to breathe the smell al night.
Stayed at the Best Western in Nephi during their Rodeo (Nephi Roundup). Fee was average compared to the other 2 or 3 hotels in town but service was top notch. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was the cleanest one I have ever seen anywhere. They offer a nice little playground for kids and a small indoor pool. The front desk staff were very friendly and the free Continental Breakfast one of the best offered. They had omelets, bacon, oatmeal, yogurt with toppings, waffles with a variety of syrups. Breads, bagels and muffins. Juices, coffee fruit and more. The hotel is on the far end of town a bit between the Flying J and KOA on main street. Their is a few restaurants in town and a small grocery store. The room did have a microwave and refrigerator. Hotel has exterior entrances and is 2 levels with no elevator I was aware of. Ice machine was located near the main lobby with some soda machines by the middle stair entrance. I would recommend this hotel as this is a rare 5 stars I give.
this is the best hotel we stayed at in the 21 days on the road. I will stay with Best Western from now on. We were on a trip with my grandson and were very happy with the hotel. we were in a newly renovated room and it was awesome. we used the pool and that was great also. the staff at the hotel bent over backwards to help us and were exceptionally kind and happy. the breakfast buffet was outstanding. we were only going to stay one night but because of the staff and room we stayed 3 nights. I am a Best Western customer from now on.
We enjoyed our stay! nice rooms, great remodel of the rooms. Awesome WIFI and hot water. Impressive breakfast...potatoes, gravy, omelette, waffles, toast pastries etc... Fresh baked cookies and cold water with Lemon when we checked in. Wonderful Customer Service. Staff is super friendly. They take pride in their property and making sure guests are happy! We will absolutely stay here again. Our Golden Doodle was welcome and we appreciated that very much! Thank you !
We got a room that was recently upgraded. It was great. The AC didn't blow on the beds, the breakfast had a lot of choices. The pool was inside and was warm. There was nothing that we encountered that wasn't 5 star. The check in and out went well, and they had warm cookies available at the check in desk.
We came to the area for memorial day, to go to the sand dunes somewhat nearby. On the recommendation of friends, and the reviews here we stayed at this Best Western. What a mistake. The rooms are small, and saying they are remodeled is an understatement. They are nowhere near the quality you would expect for the price they charged. There were bugs in the room, both dead and alive, candy wrappers in the drawers, and our bathroom was filthy. There were stains on the hand towels and wash clothes, with urine around the toilet and pubic hairs in the bath tub. The staff wasn't even friendly, and breakfast was just sadly under stocked with poor choices. If you can skip this motel, you should. Drive a bit further and stay somewhere that quality matters. Next year we will just camp.
This is a real gem of a hotel. The staff was extremely pleasant, the room was newly remodeled and quite spacious. The hotel was quiet and clean. There is a completely covered/indoor swimming pool that looked very inviting, but we did not have the time to use it. Good value for the money.
The motel is being remodeled, so everything was new. We had a window that you could open, since the night was cool. It was a nice breakfast too! They had a pool, but we arrived late and didn't use it.
This newly remodeled motel provided a very nice overnight stay. Rooms had modern amenities and power plugs on both sides of bed. Very tasty hot breakfast, and staff graciously prepared special dairy free scrambled eggs for my wife's allergy. Recommended!
Hands down the best hotel in Nephi. Staff is extremely friendly making guests feel like family instantly. Rooms are newly remodeled and clean, comfortable and roomy. Breakfast is great and daily cookies, fruit bowl, water and other small treats available. Reasonable and great stay between Provo and St. George.
Very easy to stop on I-15 and comfortable bed in a wonderful remodeled room. Extremely slow internet connection. I wonder why they even offer an internet connection. Breakfast was available and there was a wide variety of food to choose from.
This motel is a very reasonable price and, as such, is value for money. It has all you need for an overnight stay and is close to the highway if you are travelling. The quality is acceptable but not special in any way.
Wonderful little hotel B+++ with cat $10 additional. Great remodeled room, slept well. Breakfast good except no reg. Scrambled egg. All had some type of peppers, lots of other selections. A bit noisy as people slamming doors early. I would stat here again and not go into Salt Lake City.
Stayed here on our way home from AZ. It is an average hotel. Staff was very friendly. They are renovating rooms at this time. For some strange reason the only negative for our room was the carpeting was laid over some strange lumps. For Nephi this is one of the better hotels in town.
Good place, getting better with upgrades to every room. Remodel construction underway while we were there. Only 1/2 of the rooms were available. We got the last. This was a last minute drop in for us. No reservations. Our room had been remodeled. Larger room than expected. New outlet fixtures to accommodate all of our electronic devices! Lady at the check-in desk was very helpful with dining suggestions and location of a car wash. Winter travel had left our car so dirty I couldn't touch it without getting dirty! Car wash was cheap and 100% effective!! If you are in the area......a stay here will be satisfying.
Property was clean, beds comfy. Breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold items. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms are a little tired, but the hotel was starting to renovate rooms.
We stayed here after a Christmas party. Great pool and hot area, the kids loved it, breakfast was very good but it's a pretty small area, the rooms are outdated but they have a small fridge and microwave, install the room is ok, very friendly staff. We'll stay here again when in town.
We spend the winters in the Palm Springs area. When we travel south on the I-15 we always stay at the Best Western in Nephi. The location is convenient, easy access on and off the I-15, two blocks from a gas station, truck stop, and several restaurants. The staff are welcoming, eager to make your stay as pleasant as possible. If you have any special requests they try their best to accommodate. The rooms are large, very clean but need some updating (which they have started to do). All in all the best hotel in Nephi.
spent one night here passing through the area. pleasant desk clerk. easy check in at a good rate. the room was reasonable size, maybe 300 ft2. Large mini fridge, microwave, single serve coffee. Desk with chair. Small table with 2 chairs. Comfortable king bed, though pillows were lumpy. Quiet setting, though other guests can be noisy. There is a pool in a stand alone building. No fitness room. Internet connection is quick and easy. Overall i recommend it for the traveler who needs a good rest.
The Best Western was indeed a welcomed sight in Nephi after a long and harrowing trip through Salt Lake. Check in was efficient, staff were friendly, and the rooms were clean. Staff also provided recommendations for dinner. Had issues with the air conditioning as it was a wall unit in the back of the room and did little with regards to regulating the room temperature and the unit was loud. Breakfast was in the lobby which was cramped and food was acceptable.
I have stayed here several times this year always on short notice, due to family medical issues and the staff have always been helpful and kind. The rooms have always been clean and in good working order. The breakfast has been a life saver! The items are fresh and plenty to choose from. The area is clean and the breakfast staff is friendly. This BW has very easy access from the 15 freeway.
I have traveled to Nephi three times this year for business at the airport. Nephi is a small rural town with limited hotel choices. Best Western Paradise Inn is by far the best option. Small town hotels often don't rise to the quality of those found in urban areas, but this is an exception. It is certainly not the Ritz but it is clean, comfortable and staffed by very nice people. The rooms are a little dated but at the time of this writing, there is a remodel underway. The quality of the food served at the breakfast buffet everyday was as some of the best I've found during my travels.
just needed the motel for a bed for the night. the hotel was close to the freeway but far enough away to be quiet. the check in person recommended a good place to eat. overall i was very happy and would stay again if i was passing thru.
I stayed here last nite. It was nice I would stay here again. But I did have a problem in two different rooms. They wasn't clean. The bathroom had hair all over in the tub and on the floor. Come to find out they are some high school girls that clean it and one has been there for a long time.
I would highly recommend this hotel if you are passing through the area and need a solid and comfortable place to stay. We stayed in the King room (#240) on the 2nd floor and was completely satisfied. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in and the room was clean and large. The breakfast in the morning was quite fantastic and even though it stated it was continental, it was full of many hot items and added perks such as chocolate chips and strawberries for the waffles. The hashbrown potatoes were quite possibly the best I've had. I'd stop by there for breakfast if I lived in the area. The front desk staff were professional and friendly. We didn't swim in the pool but there is an indoor pool located in a separate building on site. I didn't see an elevator so you will be packing up your luggage up one flight of stairs if you are on the 2nd floor as we were. Overall, I would totally stay there again if ever in the area and it is considered by me to be a solid choice in this town for a great night sleep.
I made the error of checking in at the Safaria Motel thinking it was the only motel in Nephi. One look at it and I was gone and then found this gem. The staff was friendly and room clean and beds extremely comfortable. Breakfast was a real meal with proper utensils. Marlylin, one of the staff was helpful in giving directions on getting back to the highway. Felt really at home here. Will be back!
Everything you need, clean, large parking lot, pet friendly, great breakfast and happy employees, and walking distance to nice restaurant, we will be back next year! Currently under construction, which didn't make any difference.
Booked an accessible room but when we arrived were told the facility doesn't have one. On top of that they put us on the second floor (no elevator) and my wife is in a wheelchair. After some discussion we did get a ground floor but the room was difficult to maneuver in a wheelchair. On top of that the internet was terrible. Took an hour just to send one email!! Facility is under renovation so there might be improvement after that.
We flew into Salt Lake City on our way to Escalante, Capitol Reef, Canyonlands, Arches and Monument Valley. This was our first layover and provided a very comfortable overnight stay although we thought the food options were limited.
This is a good hotel for those passing through Utah. Good access to the interstate, close to restaurants and fuel stops. Hotel is clean and plenty of parking. Staff is also very good. We have stayed there on 2 previous trips and would stay again when heading through Utah.
When I pulled up to this property in Nephi a small town in Utah - it was obvious it was an old property - however I was blown away by the friendliness and quality of the staff ! The room was exceptionally clean - I recommend this hotel and with the renovation of the rooms they just started - This property should be exceptional in the near future - I stay at lots of hotels and lots of best western hotels each year - I would stay here again !
This Best Western Hotel in Nephi, UT was a comfortable, clean and quiet place to stay on our recent vacation. It is located on a very quiet street, and very easy to find. Everyone we had contact with in the hotel was very helpful. The woman who was in charge of the breakfast was exceptional. She was pleasant and very efficient.
Although clean and comfortable wi-fi was extremely slow. I ate dinner at a local restaurant and found their speed to be 23 times faster. If a hotel claims wi-fi it should be able to at least launch a video.
Enjoyed the friendly staff and great breakfast. The location was quiet and very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. My wife enjoyed the WiFi and I enjoyed the breakfast. Nephi is a great location to enjoy Americana.
I stayed in room 124 and the carpet had clearly been wet at one point so there was a very strong mildew smell. I didn't say anything to the front office since I noticed it when I was getting ready for bed. The hotel is not that far off the main road, has a good selection of places to eat very close, the room has a refrigerator (although not plugged in which was odd), the bed was way too soft (very uncomfortable) but the breakfast was fantastic! The breakfast made up for the bad bed and mildew smell (I'm not allergic). Breakfast was served at 6 AM which helped me out since I had to get to the airport.
Monica, front desk, very helpful, friendly and professional. Check-in fast. Rooms very clean and spacious. Clean bathroom Everything worked. Wifi fast. Breakfast excellent Hotel extremely clean on the outside. Very well taken care.
We had a reasonable stay and the staff were friendly and accommodating Owner(s) definitely not "plowing the profits" back into the property. Should work on locating funds to keep the facility looking nice because even in Nephi, UT, there is competition.
Great stay - convenient location off I-15, family style restaurants and gas stations near by. Friendly and professional staff both at check-in and check-out. Bed was comfortable as were the pillows. Lots of cable channels..
I found Nephi's Paradise Inn an excellent stay and goid value for our money. The franchisee Colony Investments, appears to operate at the top end of Best Western's customer service requirements. I was edpecially impressed by the breakfast selection and our ability to serve ourselves on ceramic service snd feed ourselves using stainless steel implements instead of tossing a sagebrush-sized pile of paper and plastic into the local rural landfill. Breakfast choices were well beyond Continental, including sausage, biscuits and gravy, above average reheated frozen omelettes, and lowfat diet vanilla yogurt whose taste was easily masked by an array of preserved fruits and granolas. My biggest question mark of the stay was why the stair landing is below grade in a land of freezing winters, potentially horizontal rain, snow runoff and drip irrigation leaks. Watch you step in winter my friends.
The room itself was okay. Not small, the usual furnishings. The hotel does not provide conditioner, only shampoo. I even called the front desk and asked for some was told they don't provide it. The "high-speed" internet was pretty slow, basically dial-up speed. C=Room could have been cleaner, found hairs on several items in the room. Unfortunately, this is the best available hotel in Nephi. Might be worth driving farther to find something better. The bed (a king) was comfortable though.
This hotel is about a half mile or so west of the I-15. The room was clean, beds comfortable, the bathroom a bit dated with yellow ceramic tile, but clean. We arrived late and left early on a fast road trip to catch this summers eclipse. We were disappointed that the breakfast omelettes were premade with ham, excluding us vegetarians.... but otherwise were well fed with other options and on our way. On the whole a good value for the price.
This is a very clean, nicely appointed hotel right off I-15 with a wonderful indoor pool. All of the staff was extremely kind. Our room was comfortable and clean. I appreciated the refrigerator since we had two toddlers with us who clamor constantly for milk. The breakfast was delicious, with a big selection, and the breakfast room lady was very cheerful and friendly. The breakfast room was spotless. We drove a bit further than we initially planned because the reviews of affordable motels in Salt Lake City weren't great. Nephi is a nice place to stop, although it's sort of in the middle of nowhere. The nearby JW Mickelson's restaurant for supper was perfect. The kids loved the model trains and the food was delicious.
We hadn't planned to stop at this hotel originally, but it was a good location between Salt lake City and Las Vegas. It was a pleasant surprise. Nice room, great staff. Breakfast and other amenities were fine. Lisa's Kitchen, the restaurant they recommended for dinner was also a nice place -- and we got 10% off. All in all, a pleasant experience. Great price, too.
This is one of the best Best Western hotels we've ever stayed in. Professional, friendly, and helpful staff helped get us checked-in and settled. The rooms were large, exceptionally clean and comfortable. Pillow-top beds...need I say more? Kids play ground, separate in-door pool and jacuzzi, and great breakfast with just about everything anyone could want. They even have dairy-free and gluten-free items available (soy milk, gluten-free blueberry muffins and bread, rice cereal, etc.) Newly upgraded TV service. Fast WiFi. And they are planning on renovating even more! Best ever!
Our car decided it was tired and we had to get sleeping for early car fix at garage...this hotel helped out and gave us a very quiet room...2nd floor... Don't park your car outside the office - sprinkler comes on and it was get very wet... Breakfast was yummy - several hot items offered...staff very helpful since we had to check out a bit later...they made sure we had food and were taken care of.
clean, caring, easy check in, friendly staff-helpful internet a little slow hot tub just right temperature bed was comfortable would stay again on the next trip up the I15 clean bath room, plenty of room, fridge was working well
Nice motel, great value, excellent breakfast, helpful staff. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean. When we needed something, the staff was most responsive. I even got a bag for the homemade cookies when we left!
An establishment past it best before date. Sink and tub that barely drain, a shower that trickles out water, poor lighting and a bizarrely lump bed add up to disappointment. Sorry BW. But you gotta do better.
Small town hotel with nice clean rooms. good breakfast starts early for on the go business people. The breakfast was very good and served on real plates, with real silverware. very nice touch. Overall a very good value and nice visit.
Front desk was helpful and quick with check in and check out. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great! I would definitely stay here again. If you are looking to stay somewhere quit and well taken care of this i the place!!
the price was right and was the closest to the great basin park that I could get. the internet didn't work well and floors in the lower floor are uneven. it was a good distance to the Great Basin national park that I was going to attend the next day. the pool was dirty and not stocked with towels. the beds were soft and the night sleep was good
The hotel is non-descript except for a large children's play area just to the south. The railroad runs on the other side of Interstate 15 and farm fields stretch after that. The room was drab but clean and the air conditioner worked well. It was 90 when we checked in at 5 pm. The bed was not one of the new foam varieties, but was comfortable. The hot breakfast was average.
Its an older hotel, but definitely the better one in Nephi. Room was outdated for sure, but it was clean. Pool area is acceptable, but old. Bathrooms are small and old. Room was large, staff was nice. Definitely the nicest place in Nephi, but dont expect the same as other Best Westerns.
Stayed here on a business trip and will stay here again. The staff was great and included breakfast was outstanding. They also provide access to a nearby gym, which was great for me. The surrounding area is a nice town with close by options for dinner.
Monica at the front desk was the only at three BW on my trip to offer the Rewards welcome pack or free points. There were lemon water, cookies and fruit to enjoy on arrival. Next morning Monica explained all the gluten free choices for my wife and there was lactose free milk, too.
Nice quiet place after escaping heavy traffic in Salt Lake area. This is an older property but clean, comfortable and well maintained - except for the computer. The poor lady at the front desk was dealing with a computer that didn't work and a line almost out the door.
Very nice. Quiet and efficient in the area of Nephi, Utah. Been my first in awhile for business with the company that I work for. My company put us up in the motel. The amenities we're great, a little outdated, but nice. The staff and women at the front desk we're very helpful in putting together breakfast bags to go for each of us. They went out of there way to help us any way they could. Very, very nice!
This staff was awesome, accomodating and friendly....nice clean room too! The beds were good and it was quiet....very good location right off the interstate. We enjoyed our stay in Nephi for the rodeo-had never been there. Would definitely stay at this motel again.
Not a lot to choose from in Nephi but this hotel was clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy. The lady at the front desk was very friendly. Not a lot of seating in the breakfast area but the breakfast was good and more than just a continental breakfast. The grandkids had fun swimming in the pool. No elevators so request ground floor if stairs are a problem.
Older motel but very clean and bed was comfortable. Staff was great! Nice pool, covered but open, Good for the price. No elevator, which was hard for my husband, he doesn't do stairs very well. It was right off of the interstate.
I have a pet, but that doesn't mean I want a room that stinks of urine, I called before checking in an explained that I have a four pound dog that's clean, potty trained and kenneled while in the room and didn't want a room that stunk of urine. Apparently she didn't care or listen to me. The room wasn't clean. I found a big spider that looked like a brown recluse. My daughter also booked and stayed in a room there and had no air conditioning, it was hot all night in her room. Won't stay there again and will not recommend it to anyone.
This was a very pleasant surprise. We stopped in Nephi on our way to Sedona and had a very long drive from Boise. The room was extremely comfortable and clean and Breakfast was excellent. One of the best I have ever had. Gave us a good start in the morningl
Nice clean and spacious and friendly staff. Although the google search engine can be misleading. It's states that each room has a kitchenette and a fitness center, and the hotel has neither. Other than that, no complaints!
It was worth it for us on a trip south on I 15 to avoid the congestion of SLC and drive a bit farther to Nephi to spend the night. This hotel is adequate for one night and the staff was quite accommodating. There is an "indoor" heated pool that was probably originally an outdoor one. At some point they built glass doors around it. The pool was open until 11, which is about one hour later than most motels. There is a Denny's down the street which was convenient for a late dinner.
Staff seemed preoccupied as if they needed to get to some other activity. Room was dark, and bathroom sink was very slow to drain. Front window opened to a wall. To be fair, Nephi is a small town in Utah, and there weren't many hotels to pick from.
This Best Western in in the very small town of Nephi, UT. Just off the 15 freeway. The rooms were clean and comfortable, Quiet, and the breakfast was good and got the day started just fine!! Easy check in and out.
This is an older best western. The towels are fat and fluffy. Vthe room very clean. Comfortable chairs. Great bed. Very professional staff and the breakfast was huge and delicious. I'd stay here again and again.
Classic motel with outside entrances. I stay here at least once a year for 2 or 3 days, always clean & quiet. Beautiful area--wish I could stay longer to explore!! Staff is always friendly, and I've never had to request any repairs, etc. Not a lot of other choices nearby, this one is by far the best of the lot.
The hotel and staff were awesome. Very caring and helpful. We had an issue with our reward points and the staff and mgmt was very accommodating for our family. Thank you very much. We will stay again when we return to Utah.
Stayed at the Paradise Inn on our way back to Canada. While the room was very dated in the end it didn't matter. What did matter was the quality mattress and pillows, the uber clean bathroom and towels and a staff that was both very competent and friendly. We asked for a main floor room and got a disabled parking space right in front pf our room. The staff went beyond good service and recommended a great restaurant for dinner and kept asking if there was anything they could help us with to make our stay comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.....
The staff were outstanding -some of the nicest, most courteous ever dealt with at many BWs. The room was clean and large; beds and linens superb. Breakfast buffet was super, choice of hot food (omelets) as well as fruit, yogurt, good coffee. All well-laid out and CLEAN.
Room was clean, hotel was quiet. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms need to be updated and adult size facilities installed. Floors were uneven and wooden planks used to hold up the bed could be dangerous.
This is a nice BW on a wide road without much traffic, and there is parking for RVs on the east side, which was really great since we like to park our RV but stay in a hotel when we're traveling. There is also a good restaurant within a three-minute walk.
The hotel is conveniently located and and very clean. The staff was extremely helpful in all areas. The amenities were very good and we had a no problems of any kind. Our room was very quit. We stay here on most of most of our trips south, depending on the time of day. The convienency of having to drive before breakfast is great. drive first i
If you are just passing through or playing at the Lil Sahara dunes. You will not go wrong with this Hotel. Not right off of I-15, but ask if you do not see it. Salt Lake City's Motels and Hotels should take notes
The hotel was very good even though it is very new. The location was appropriate for our trip. The value was very reasonable. The continental breakfast was convenient with good choices of food. We would recommend it.
Well worth the slightly higher cost than competition.comfortable bed, Internet worked fine. Check-in clerk's recommendation for dinner was good and restaurant gave a discount for hotel guests. Breakfast was delicious.
Very pleased with personnel's help in parking our SUV and trailer in a well lit safe spot, nice, clean room. Perfection spoiled by a clod guest with a crated howling cold puppy left on the back of his pick up truck over night. Best Western is dependably excellent.
The best Best Western I have stayed in. Spotless hotel, all staff so friendly and professional. Breakfast was great with China plates and metal cutlery. It would be difficult and wrong to try and find fault. A great stay 100% recommended.
We have had many positive stays at Best Westerns in Utah but this was not one. There were other issues I will not get into but the most significant is that this hotel is near the RR tracks so we heard trains all night long.
We were on our way to Palm Springs and wanted to be south of Salt Lake City. This hotel is a little gem in the middle of nowhere. Our room was large and comfortable, with soft towels in the bathroom. The WIFI conked out and was not restored before we checked out this morning. My only other complaint would be that there were no comfortable pillows. The breakfast was complimentary; the selections were better than what is usually provided at other hotel continental breakfasts. Despite the WIFi and pillows, I would recommend this hotel and we plan to stay there on our return trip to Canada.
Family and I stayed here on the way thru. Nice hotel. Nothing fancy. Great parking lot if your pulling a trailer. Easy to find. Staff except creepy maintainence guy was very friendly. Good free breakfast.
Clean, quiet and moderately priced; the staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room was a bit small but recently updated. There is no restaurant but the clerk recommended a very fine place a few blocks away. A rather good breakfast is available free to guests.
Friendly staff, clean facilities and the breakfast was really good. Our room was very nice. It was spacious and very clean. The breakfast was surprisingly good and saved us money from going somewhere else to eat. Lots of parking space as well.
I observed the staff make an effort to serve a customer other than myself that was with a problem. Without going into much detail, they handled the matter with taste and respect and offered great courtesy to resolved the problem as best as they could in light of the circumstances. I was pleased with the hometown approach to show kindness you just don't find in the big city.
The Best Western in Nephi is an older motel, but has been well maintained and seemingly undergone recent renovation. Our "pet friendly" room was well appointed, comfortable, clean, and spacious. The heat/air unit was not a noisy as most motel heat/air units are. The motel is easy to find, about a mile off the interstate. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the standard motel fare and had an adequate area for seating for several guest. We'll definitely consider this motel for future travels through the area.
We were pleasantly surprised at the front desk, how professional and helpful she was to our requests. We wanted a Top floor for less noise, she put us above office and with a view it was great. Room clean and comfortable. Bed was Good not too hard,TV was able to be moved for best viewing. Had mini fridg, wifi and all the plug ins needed to charge cellphones ,iPad so that made it easy great free breakfast hot items : eggs potatoes, bacon sausage links Good sweet rolls fresh fruit and coffe with juice bar choices. Great way to start thes day. Front desk helped us with a best western plus reservation in Sedona. That was so great! Loved it planning To return for another stay in November to use a pet friendly room
very friendly, employees have a very positive attitude and are proud of their facility. Breakfast is very complete, parking is excellent, pool nice, very accommodating. We will return next year on our way back from our Lake Powell vacation.
The breakfast provides a variety of food items to choose from. The hotel reception and general manager were professional and competent. Prefer handheld shower head versus stationary shower head designed for taller people. Prefer room on 1st floor but if placed on the 2nd floor, it is difficult to carry heavy suitcase up and down stairwells. The hotel is aging but the rooms are kept clean and functioning.
When we pulled in to this hotel I thought it could quite easily be the worst hotel on our trip, which was 5 hotels over 7 days. I was very wrong. The outside looks like any older hotel, however, the insides are nice and well kept. The staff was also very nice. The breakfast bar was one of the best of our trip. I recommend this hotel if you are staying in Nephi. Only drawback was the Setup and Closed Caption buttons on the TV remote did not work so we were unable to get captions. Also, no bidet, but do you really expect one in a budget hotel?
This motel has been refurbished outside somewhat inside, large rooms with both microwave and fridge a bit overpriced I thought. Beds comfortable, the breakfast was fine, served with real china, a nice touch.
I had a business trip that took me to Nephi and was told the Best Western was likely the best place. It's an older hotel which means bigger room sizes. I thought it was nicely clean, the staff were nice. The only complaint was I was there in May and it was difficult getting the temperature in the room satisfactory for me. The heating/cooling is at one end of the room (far end) and i just was not that comfortable all night long. That said again likely the place to stay if you find yourself in Nephi.
This was an old, outdated motel that was not particularly well kept. The staff was very friendly but there was not a reasonable place to eat in the area and the hotel was not the quality we are used to experiencing.
Stayed here on our way home. Clean standard room. Good shower. Quiet. Breakfast was not bad. Nice pool area. Pleasant staff. No elevator. Easy on/off Interstate 15 Perfectly good place to stay on your way to wherever.
Nice, clean, quiet place with truck parking. I like to stay here when I have the option to. Close to several restaurants and a couple of them in town will deliver to the hotel. A little older than many of the Best Westerns that I have stayed at, but it is still clean and well kept.
We needed to be in Ephram Utah and all the hotels were sold out due to sporting events. So we tried next best town which was Nephi Best Western is our go to branded hotel and this little gem did not disappoint. Our rooms were a good size and very clean. I had an end room which actually had a large window with a view. The bed was amazing and gave me the best sleep I have had in ages. Breakfast was standard Best Western fair but was very well presented. Staff were friendly, especially Kaydon who took my reservation and checked us in. Very fast and accurate. We only spent one night but based on this experience I will return if I go back to that area.
Spacious room, but very dated. Dusty room....dirty sidewalk at entrance . Small TV with no Hi Def channels. Bathroom and artwork from the 60's. King size bed was very comfortable ....indoor pool and hot tub looked very cool, but I didn't use them
Suggested they get anew mattress. The one we had slanted toward the center, which had us rolling in that direction and made it difficult to get up. There was a sign indicating there was a Best Western but nothing to indicate which way to turn after exiting the highway.
Nothing special about the room. The bed was clean and serviceable. When we went out for dinner the stairwell was so dark we could barely make our way. My wife had asked earlier about the light and was told it was on a timer. The light was on when we returned. We are glad we didn't suffer a fall. The breakfast was usual items but better served and presented than many. The older woman working the breakfast room did a great job.
Loved the breakfast. Hard boiled eggs, yogurt parfait for me and biscuit and gravy and sausages for hubby. Pet friendly too. Friendly and clean. I noticed a smell in 137 but hubby did not. Had a nice dinner up the street at Lorie's and got a ten percent discount for mentioning hotel. We enjoyed the pool and spa but it is does have a lot of chlorine.
We enjoyed staying at this Hotel.. I am a person of few words and we stayed at this Hotel because it was in the area we wanted to be in. I do not like to be told by a note as what to ssay and possibly not stay at one of these hotels again for that very reason.
We pulled in at 2 am breaking up a long road trip. The customer service was great, getting us a room quickly and efficiently. The room was clean and in good repair. The breakfast was good - not a lot of seating area. Definitely a place I could recommend.
Aug.2016 - booked online for $90 room 248. Paid cash up front - love that Older motel but ok for a one night stay. Check in was fast and easy. Front desk girl was very friendly. Room was quite large.Huge windows that were not very clean. Rooms smelled old and musty. I felt the need to wipe everything down. Carpet was clean but sink in bathroom was a bit dirty. A glob of toothpaste was on the faucet. Microwave was dirty inside. Fridge was on and cold. Wifi was great. A/C was good. Outside noise was minimal. Not enough plug ins - only 1 accessible one. Bed was awful and definitely needs to be replaced. My husband and I rolled into the middle and felt like it was hill to climb to move over. Our backs were so sore that we got up at 4:45am (even though we had a 12 hour drive ahead of us.) Kids enjoyed the pool. They said it was great because it was 7Ft deep whereas we have only seen 5ft. Breakfast is in the lobby where there are only 4 tables. Breakfast was delicious and served on real china with real silverware with real salt and pepper shakers which was so wonderful to see! Our environment thanks you Best Western!!! as do we! It was a continental breakfast with many extras that surprised us! Yogourt parfaits with fresh fruit and granola, waffle toppings that included whip cream and 6 types of goodies to put on top. They offered fresh and packaged fruit. They offered Soy milk as well as 2% and skim. Hard boiled eggs, omelets, sausage, biscuits and gravy. The breakfast room was so clean and the breakfast lady was delightful! We were on the road for 14 days and this was by far the best breakfast we were served by any hotel/motel ever...Great job Best Western! This property was ok for one nights stay. I don't think I would return because of the beds and terrible sleep we had but the breakfast was amazing! ~at check out I mentioned the beds and the front desk was very apologetic.
We spent one night here, on a long drive from Omaha NE, to Salt Lake City via Las Vegas NV. Of the many hotels we stayed at, this had the least good bedding. Uncomfortable pillows and creased sheets etc. A nice big room where we could park right by our door. Which makes life so much easier than the modern HIX/Hampton Inn format, it has to be said. The only other issue we had was congestion in the lobby which also served as the breakfast room. Perched on settees and arm chairs, when one could find space, did not make for an enjoyable start to the day. Despite that, a good place to spend the night when on the road.
Best Western certainly helped us after a long days travel with our little dog. They welcome pets and the good deal was that they also welcome AARP members for a small discount that paid for our pet deposit of $10.00. When I used the pool it wasn't sparking clean. It had leaves floating in it but other than that a very pleasant swim. They also have a hot tub. The room is clean and furnished well. They offer a full breakfast that starts at 6 am which is perfect for us. The hotel isn't 5 star but it's certainly a comfortable, clean and nice looking hotel to spend the night.
The Best Western Paradise Inn was an older motel that was remodeled. We stayed there many years ago before is was Best Western. The remodel was done well, but we did have an issue of odor. The tub and shower were very clean but when we turned on the water is came out rusty. I let it run awhile and it did get better..Clerk said they have had issues with the pipes. It was still a good place.
Went in without expectations. Check-in staff was very friendly. Room was clean. Close to the train tracks, however only two trains went by--one in the evening and one in the morning but wasn't bad. I'm a pretty light sleeper and the train didn't bother me--pretty quiet area. Pool was decent but the spa had some nasty ring around the tub going on, so we didn't get in. Breakfast far exceeded our expectations for a free motel breakfast. Food was delicious, fresh, and best of all clean. 7/10. Would have rated higher however housekeeping barged in without knocking nor announcing herself--we even had the Do Not Disturb on the knob.
Depending on your age, your needs are different. All I wanted was a clean and quiet hotel. This is exactly what I got. Even had some cool refreshing water with lemon in the lobby. A nice added touch. It was an easy off the freeway, close to a gas station and very good restaurant.
We didn't find anything worth eating at the continental breakfast. small banana or chocolate chip muffins or white or wheat bread. Trains ran every few minutes, day and night, right across the street. very so-so and cramped room. No place to sit to use computer and still allow access to bathroom.
The rooms were super nice, not the biggest or fanciest but still great! The staff was amazing and helpful. The breakfast was one of the best we've had. The separate building for a pool and hot tub was awesome, I loved the entire glass room as there wasn't the echo or the hot and humid feel! There was also a small playground for my kids to play on! We haven't ever seen a hotel with a playground so that was a great addition! We can't wait to stay at another BW!
I've stayed here a couple of times now and haven't had any problems. This time I was given a shower that had very little pressure and I noticed ants crawling in the bathroom. This appears to be an older property so I'm not surprised to see these things, but I would think that the Best Western standard being a little higher than this.
Everything was fine about the place - large, well appointed room, good staff, good breakfast, Minuscule pressure shower head was the only problem -- it was honestly very difficult for my wife to wet her hair and then to wash the shampoo out. I understand about saving water, but ..... Top review across the board but for this.
Excellent staff and facility. Clean, well kept and quiet. Easy access to I-15. Very good free breakfast. Good wifi. In the future I will skip other places to stay here again. One nearby restaurant gives a 10 percent discount if you mention you're staying at the Best Western.
Kids loved the hotel because of the playground on site and the pool with a hot tub. The breakfast was very nice. We stayed on the 1st floor right by the stairs, but it was ok. Room was spacious, no complaints.
Everything about this hotel is top notch, a perfect place to stay at a reasonable price, extremely clean and comfortable, great personnel. Their mid day appetizers and morning breakfast were outstanding. The people were knowledgeable, professional and very pleasant.
We traveled from California to Georgia and then to Mount Rushmore and this was the only hotel that was great. We payed good money for 7 hotels and this was the cleanest by far, updated great beds, pool. The breakfast was for real sausage, eggs, omlets, fresh bakery and yogurt with fresh fruit. Wow management and there crew were the best we met. Take my advice skip Salt Lake City and stay here.
Excellent staff, easy to access of Interstate, big rooms, separate sink/tub area, very comfortable beds, convenient store nearby. We were traveling with our dogs as we're currently relocating, and there were several convenient areas to walk them.
This is our preferred stopping place when traveling the I-15 corridor and we were not disappointed during this stay. From check in to breakfast, everything at the BW went smoothly. Kayden was the epitome of professional, courteous and competent, checking us in quickly and with our requested preferences met, even with our scheduled late check in. A nice way to end a long day. The rooms have been freshly remodeled, the pool was clean and cool and our expectations were fully met. Thanks!
a previous year we stayed at an economy lodge and that was the worst mistake of our lives. Best Western made up for that stay and more, they are by far the best hotel in Nephi Utah. Amazing staff, Clean atmosphere, Wonderful beds and continental breakfast, Can't ask for more.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The pool was fun for the kids. The breakfast was excellent. The playground for the grandkids was also a nice touch. We highly recommend this motel.
A friendly, clean, comfortable budget hotel, ideally located just off the Freeway. We enjoyed our stay except for the passing trains. The moronic wannabe 6 year-olds the train companies seem to employ as drivers revel in sounding their horn at least a dozen times passing through a tiny place like Nephi. Just because they can't sleep (I'm talking 4.00am), doesn't mean everyone in town wants to be woken up!
Spent 4 nights here as a base for rock climbing in nearby Maple Canyon. Proved to be a good choice as the Canyon was only 30 minutes drive away. We found the hotel ideal for our purposes - rooms, clean and well equipped with very comfortable Queen beds. Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfast pretty basic but ok. We were on the ground floor and had a bit of noise from the room above during the night as residents walked about.
Front desk asigns me room, go open door and bedding is on floor room is disaster area. I return front desk and she was like whoa they advised they had everything done. Plus they had all clocked out and gone home for day. She assigned another room and went and had look for herself. Otherwise new room is clean and servicable.
If you are going to or from Moab this hotel is a good place to stay along the way. Nice comfortable rooms, a good breakfast, and easy to find all make this a good choice. The route to the south and then east to Moab is spectacular.
This hotel is very well kept, rooms are clean, breakfast was very good. Please thank Bobby, I hope I have the correct name she checked us in and was very friendly & courteous with the questions we asked her. Cookies were an added plus
This is an older hotel but well kept. Very friendly staff, and good breakfast. Room was spacious and clean. Would recommend this place to anyone staying in Nephi. Good location, right off of I15 and close to town.
I normally stay in Beaver when I travel through Southern Utah, but this time I had some extra time so I pushed on to Nephi. There is a Best Western there and I am a member of their rewards program so I decided to try it. The hotel is older but is still decorated like most of the Best Westerns I have stayed at. They put me in a pretty big room which was nice. Nothing really special, but clean, comfortable, and quiet. I'd stay there again if I needed to stop in Nephi.
This property is very close to the Young Living Family Farm. The scenery is amazing. Best Western staff is professional and very attentive. There is indoor pool and hot tub but it is another building making it necessary to walk across the parking lot. This isn't ideal in cooler weather.
Booked the hotel on line and glad we did place was full for the weekend. Small town just off the interstate. Older two story motel type but has been updated clean and friendly and great value. Great spot to explore from about an hour and a half out of Salt Lake. Down side not a lot in town.
I stop here on every trip I make to Salt Lake. The staff is very friendly, and professional. The rooms are clean and well kept. I like to stay here rather than in Salt Lake because of the staff and the fact that this is a very safe place. As well when I depart in the morning I do not have to deal with the Salt Lake traffic first thing in the morning. I also enjoy the pool and the hot tub which is always clean and well kept.
This hotel has had many upgrades and it is a great place to stay, Situated a very short distance from hwy 15. The staff is very helpful and well if informed. The breakfast was a delight and the area for eating is very friendly.
Friendly staff, well kept establishment, good service. Very nice place to stay. Close to gas station, excellent restaurant. It was quiet and relaxing. Would recommend it to anyone staying in the Nephi area.
Usually stay here while traveling through the area once a year. We always make a reservation as it fills up quickly. The rooms are comfortable. We were offered a ground floor room when we arrived and we found the staff to be extremely accommodating.
The hotel is not suitable physically for one relying on a walker or wheelchair, very difficult to maneuver into the bathroom, and too small to get a walker into it, but we took it anyway. None of the rooms are better in that regard, but we were informed it would be renovated towards making it more suitable for the handicapped this summer.
We had a great sleep and the staff was very helpful. The room was clean and tidy. The air conditioner was noisy, but I suppose they all are. We were able to have a very good night's sleep. I would like to see a small night light In the room as when I got up at night I had to stumble around until I figured out where I was headed.
Staff very helpful. Motel small but clean & attractive. My grandson forgot his wallet in the room & the staff went out of their way to be sure it was secure & intact til we could pick it up on our way back. Thank you
I was making a long drive from north central Idaho to Flagstaff. Recognizing I was needing to make a long drive the first day I looked for a community that was about 12 hours drive....Nephi, Utah! I called early the morning I was leaving and made reservations, good think I did the hotel had no vacancies when I arrived! After the 12 hour drive I exited the interstate and found the hotel right where the map on the website had indicated. Checking in late I found the staff still fresh and enthusiastic and most helpful. Check in was quick and off to the room I went. I found a new remodeled room with lots of room to roam. The room was clean, neat and comfortable...just what I needed for the night. The room had all the amenities needed and the sleep was great. I woke early, had a hot breakfast and hit the road. The stay went so well that I stayed there again on my way back thru. Thanks!
Fantastic staff, fantastic breakfast and top notch beds. One of the most enjoyable places to stay on our trip from Canada to Mexico. The check-in was done quickly and efficiently. Also provided menus for local eating establishments so we enjoyed an excellent pizza. EXCELLENT PROFESSIONAL. The Lady with the breakfast was highly efficient with an excellent breakfast and GREAT PERSONALITY.
You will not be disappointed with your stay at the Paradise Inn of Nephi. It is clean, comfortable and has the best staff around. The rooms are comfortable and the complementary breakfast is the best I've ever had at a hotel
I stopped at this property enroute from Canada (Alberta) to Mesquite, Nevada. I had no reservation however a room to my liking my provided. The property was well maintained and the check-in staff (Bobi) were very friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed everything about my stay at this locale. I did leave a expensive BOSE earphone plug in the room upon my departure and did not realize my mistake until I was in Mesquite, Nevada. Approx. one week later and enroute back to Canada I stopped at this property to ascertain if by chance they had found this item. Much to my surprise this Property has a well maintained lost and found where many items of all descriptions were located and I was given the item that I had lost. Same had been placed in a sealed plastic bag and the room number marked on the bag. I was overjoyed. Many thanks Paradise Inn.
Top drawer all the way. Service, price, breakfast, room amenities all excellent.. Staff was also first class. The property location was excellent. This was one of four nights in Best Western properties on this trim. It was the best of all. We'll definitely stay here should we come this way again.
On our way to Delta for a family funeral had to be in Delta early the next morning so decided to stay at the BW in Nephi. Room was old but adequate and clean. They are in the process of remodeling. Morning breakfast was better than expected with the remodel in process. Staff were very accommodating and friendly.
Manager was super friendly and gave us great tips about dining just down the road. The room was clean, beds comfortable, and their was a microwave, refrigerator, and a great warm breakfast in the morning. Restaurant was only one within 60 miles that serves beer and wine. Not hugely important but nice to know.
We like to say in the BW in NEPHI because there are big and comfortable rooms (with fridge and microwave) and a good bed to relax for a while. It's a quiett house and the people were helpful and friendly. Also a good breakfast was offered. Thank's, we are coming back.
A great place to stay. I drove in from California and was too tired to drive further. I saw the sign from the highway and decided to give it a try since i am a BW member. I was NOT disappointed. Middle of no where hotel... it had the same BW quality. Great place to stay. Great staff. The overnight clerk was very cute and helpful and courteous.
and went beyond their duties to help me recover my items. Honesty in this circumstances were incredible To go out of their way to make sure I knew about my items left behind then to help me recover them was at their expense.
We stayed overnight after travelling from Yuma, AZ. This was on our way home and we did not want to travel through Salt Lake City at night. The motel was off the interstate far enough that there was no highway noise. The area around the motel was quiet and neat. The other guests were quiet. The Continental Breakfast was great. The room was very nice with television and Wi-Fi. We would highly recommend this motel.
We were traveling back to Canada so another one night stay. Well we were very pleased as the place was nice and very clean, great service, comfortable bed and included breakfast in the morning had lots of hot and cold choices. Would definitely stay here again.
We always stay here on our way to Las Vegas. Staff is very friendly & the rooms are always clean. We usually order in Pizza so we don't have to go out. This place gets filled up very quickly, so make reservations ahead of time.
Loved the stay here. We were there for a funeral so that had a damper effect on our mood. But the rooms were nice . The staff is exceptional and loves to help . So friendly. The rooms were very clean and the pool was a really nice design it was very kid friendly and it was quite.
Clean comfortable spacious rooms with bathtubs. Reasonable price. Nice comfy beds, but no comforter. Indoor headed greenhouse pool. Downsides, not indoors, no elevators, no guest laundry. Decent breakfast. Fruit and snacks all day.
We were travelling from Butte, MT to Palm Springs and decided to stop for the night in Nephi. To insure that we had a room we reserved a room online during a stop in Salt Lake City. The motel was located just off the I-15 and we found it with no problem. We arrived at the hotel and were met by the friendliest and most courteous reception staff. The staff had our reservation info and check-in took less than five minutes. During the check-in process we were offered fresh cookies and coffee and asked if we needed help with our luggage. Our room was immaculately clean and well-equipped; toiletries, large towels, large flat screen TV, strong Wi-Fi signal, coffee maker, ample supplies of both tea and coffee. Later that day I returned to the front desk to inquire about local restaurants . The staff member was extremely helpful and gave us info about restaurants that were could drive to or alternatively have food delivered. The next morning we were leaving (6:00 AM) so we went to the breakfast room for what we thought would be a typical continental breakfast. Wow! The breakfast supplies consisted of both hot and cold items, fresh fruit, a variety of breads and cereals, different beverages (juice, milk, coffee and tea) and pastries. As we were checking out the front desk staff checked the highway conditions for us and gave us clear direction on how to get back onto the I-15. We will definitely stay at this place again. Customer service was exceptional.
The hotel has fast internet, good menu items to select breakfast, professional, competent, and friendly reception employees. The bed was comfortable. The room temperature was easy to set-up and was dependable throughout the night. Towel could be updated in near future. When in the area, recommend this hotel.
Fan in bathroom didn't work and found a few small ants on floor in bathroom. This hotel is an older one with good outside appearance but could use updating in bathroom. Comfortable bed. Staff did mention that a discount was available at a restaurant and also recommended it for good food.
We had to get out of the smog of Salt Lake and went to Nephi, which was almost far enough away. The Best Western is a bit old and our room could have used some new carpet and tile in the shower, but we were pleased to find a room big enough to fit our 4 kids on hide-a-beds and our baby in a pack and play! The kids really enjoyed the pool, which again could use a face lift, but it served its purpose. The food was good even though they ran out of biscuits for biscuits and gravy one of the days, and I could tell that Helen really went the extra mile keeping the food area stocked and tidy.
I brought my family to Nephi to escape the air pollution of the city. We were lucky enough to be served by Bobbie at the reception desk. She was not only very friendly and responsive to our requests she also anticipated the needs of our family and made recommendations and suggestions to make our stay pleasant. I have stayed at some very fancy hotels and vacation resorts, but none of them have provided the level of customer service that Bobbie provided.
What a great place. We were so pleasantly surprised at all of the details. The room was clean and very big. The extra fluffy blankets were AMAZING and felt so comfy. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was the best I've had in a long time with so many choices and little extras like whipped cream and almond milk. I would stay here again and again and it is just going to get better! The manager has big plans for remodeling and upgrades. We will definitely be back.
Big cities mean you are always running. The quiet rural setting of this hotel off the I15 and south of Salt Lake was relaxing after pushing my way along with busy traffic. The hotel grounds and room are clean and inviting. I, unfortunately, am one of a few people who had difficulty connecting to the Wi-Fi system; perhaps something to do with my computer settings. Anyway, a day of quiet and isolation is a perk in today's society.
The Staff was very nice. We checked in late at night and there was someone there at the desk who was happy to greet us. The rooms were very clean and breakfast was great! the checkout staff was nice and offered to help to load our car. Great place to stay!
This is an older property. Clean but dated. Staff extremely helpful and attentive. Breakfast eggs were better than most BW. They don't have a separate room for breakfast--you eat in the lobby which was ok.
Very comfortable, clean and well appointed rooms that are very much nicer than their rates would suggest. Also, the staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. Bobbie, on the evening reception desk, is personality personified. What a pleasure! Also, we left a bag containing some stuff we needed for our ski trip and, when we realized, two days after leaving the Best Western, we called and asked if they found the bag. Jean said that they did have it and would hold it for us so we could pick it up on our drive home. The Best Western will definitely be our stop for our annual two day drive to Powder Mountain next year. Thanks for a great stay!
This motel was a nice surprise after a long day of travelling. Comfortable rooms with separate entrance to each room. Hot breakfast available. Pool and hot tub in separate structure. Great value for the money - would recommend highly.
Rooms are very clean; plenty of towels; comfortable beds & cushy comfy pillows; nice TV; it was snowing when we arrived & the room was nice & warm when we walked in. The Staff was Very Nice & Breakfast is Excellent; So Good; Biscuits; Gravy; Bacon; Omelets; Potato's ; cereal; waffle maker; milk; coffee, OJ & so much more. Theres a Very Nice Older Women constantly cleaning & putting more food out. So Impressed for the Price & it being a Best Western. Check out is at Noon & Breakfast is served till 10am. Would definitely recommend this Best Western in Nephi, Utah.
Our room was very clean and the bed comfortable. The breakfast omelette was delicious. I found the staff friendly and helpful. We travel through this area several times a year and will definitely come back. Already have recommended this location to friends and relatives.
Nephi is just an overnight stop when you're going someplace better. I've stayed in other hotels in this town over the years, but this Best Western is my new favorite. The rooms are larger than most, as is the refrigerator. Both the refrigerator and microwave appeared to be new. Room was very clean. No mold whatsoever around the tub. Nice tall shower head. Coffeemaker in room. Iron and ironing board. Full length mirror. Very comfy thick mattress with 5 pillows. Both desk and table in the room. There is a pool and hot tub. The building they are in gets foggy in the winter. Pool felt nice and warm, but the truck driver types cursing in the hot tub put me off from swimming. Front desk staff friendly and check in was efficient. The room also had a carbon monoxide detector- 1st I've ever seen in a motel room. There is a tiny bit of road noise but not from the freeway (smaller road beside the hotel). It appears to me the owners have done a good remodel and are keeping the rooms looking nice and well cleaned.
This hotel was very clean, and the staff was very friendly. They went above and beyond to make my stay pleasant. While I expected more fruit at the free breakfast like bananas, apples and oranges, they did have a nice array of drinks, and some hot items.
The Good The breakfast was pretty good. Pastries and various breads, yogurt, fruit, sausage, biscuits and gravy, cereal, three types of juices, and milk. The didn't smell off, which is always a good sign. The Bad 1. The TV was small and the reception very fuzzy for all channels. 2. There was a clearly visible dead fly on the window sill in the bathroom. 3. I found a live bug in one of the sealed cups by the bathroom sink. 4. We were told that house keeping was off the day ( it was Christmas) and that only rooms were available on the second floor. I call this a bad because if they had planned more carefully they could have made it so the 2nd floor was unavailable and the first floor was ready to receive guests on Christmas day. The Ugly 1. The snow was piled up so high I couldn't get my 4WD vehicle into the parking lot. When I asked the front desk about this I was told the person who clears the parking lot also had another property he took care of. I asked if it would be cleared when we returned at 9PM that night and was told something like " Well if he clears at 7pm and the snow continues until 9pm it may not be cleared. Excuse me, but someone should be constantly clearing the entrance. The answer I received was basically MAYBE which is unacceptable. I expect to be able to drive into the facility at any time. The answer I was given did not make me feel like a valued customer. It made me feel like the Best Western did not care. 2. The king size bed was so awful. It was incredibly hard and uncomfortable. My wife and I both felt like we were sleeping on cardboard all night long. Spend some money and put a 2-4 inch memory foam topper on the bed!
I've stayed here several times over the last few years. It has always been a decent place. This year they have done some upgrades to make it even better. The bathroom was clean and freshly painted. No mildew around the tub/shower. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. The breakfast is the typical breakfast, eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, cereal, waffles, danish, bread, milk, juice coffee. I'll be back in February. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Owner puts money back into this property. It is an older property but the maintenance is very good. The building and grounds look nice upon driving into the parking area. The rooms are well maintained. Even though this is an older property it has the appearance and esthetics of a newer property.
We will recommend this hotel to everyone... Had nothing to complain about.... Will stay their again on our way home from Arizona if we can.We find all Best western hotels very reasonable rates and try to stay at one whenever we need a place to lodge.
The Best Western in Nephi is a great place to stay. It is pet friendly and staff is great. The hotel is bit off the freeway but easy to fit and access. The hotel is pet friendly and has a pool. The hotel has open space around the property and a great restaurant down the street.
We were very pleased to find this little community just before hitting the traffic of Salt lake city. The town itself was nicely decorated for Christmas and we had a nice evening drive around. The hotel was comfortable and pleasant and we would stay there again.
The place was clean, but not perfect-- the room was cold, and the location of the heater meant that it took forever to warm up. There was mildew in the shower grout, and the breakfast, while varied, was indifferent. All in all, I didn't think it was worth the $20 extra we paid over the next best rated place.
Very comfortable beds, clean rooms, clean bathrooms, a very good best western hotel. Heater and AC work very well, the free breakfast was good as well. Front desk was very nice and welcoming would definitely stay again. No complaints from me!
Front desk for check in and check out were both very helpful. Many varied foods for breakfast that we could even eat being diabetic. Hot eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles with sugar free syrup supplied. I loved the fresh lemon water at the front desk. This property goes the extra mile to set a nice atmosphere for a very affordable rate. This property met our needs very well and we will come here again when we visit our daughter who lives nearby.
all good for this hotel location. well heated since it was snowing, given free snacks at check in to take to room. love the late check out by noon.. parking close to room a must always.. staff very helpful on check in.. check out was a breeze..
The staff was helpful, courteous, friendly and efficient. The property is older, but remodeled, with the best beds we have found in quite a long time in a motel/hotel. Fridge and microwave in room are always nice amenities. Hot Continental breakfast with fresh fruit, cookies, yogurt available on check-in the night before. Very pleasant surprise to be offered more than cookies, as I am Gluten-free and can never enjoy that treat. Located in a quiet area, with exterior hallways; very quiet, peaceful nights rest!
Very nice room, great staff. Staff always has cookies and coffee ready for their guests. The hotel is just off Interstate 15, just past the Flying J travel center. This is the nicest hotel at the Nephi exit.
The hotel is under new management and she has done a terrific job. It was always a good hotel, but now the service and attention to detail is unbeatable. The room was very clean and the front desk agent was genuine and caring. Thanks a lot for the great experience.
So pleased that we chose this motel for our one-night stay enroute to Sedona! The evening clerk on our check-in was very friendly, professional & efficient - gave us all the information about the motel's amenities (there is a pool, but we did not use it) & offered suggestions for dinner (wish we had waited until we arrived, but had stopped earlier and had a terrible meal - see my review of El Mexsal). We had a king-size bed in a huge room on the 2nd floor. One of the most comfortable beds we've slept on in a motel! It was quiet, and one of the things they do right here... The heat/air unit is on the back wall, far away from the bed!! Complimentary breakfast started at 6, which was perfect for us to get an early start on the next leg of our trip. There was lots of variety for a complimentary breakfast - including omelettes, and they even had a gluten-free cereal! The morning desk clerk was just as friendly, professional & efficient as the evening clerk - they obviously hire carefully and train properly! Highly recommended.
Based on TA reviews, we stayed here for a night while travelling to AZ. After tieing the horses out at the fair grounds we stopped and got a couple of rooms. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean, hotel was quiet and the beds were comfortable. Good stop. Thanks TA for the reviews and Best Western for the accomadation.
A nice, quiet place well off the interstate. The staff was very friendly and helpful when we got locked out of our car the following morning and that always helps. As for dining options in town you are pretty limited, but hey it's a small town.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. While the room needed a little maintenance, it was clean and serviceable. The staff was outstanding, offering freshly baked cookies upon arrival and a delicious breakfast buffet. We would definitely stay here again.
First time here and we really enjoyed our stay. Bobbie the front desk receptionist made us feel so welcome after a long day on the road. She just couldn't do enough to make our stay the best. Recommended a great place to eat and answered all our questions. The room was clean with nice decor. Would really stay there again when passing through.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Problem with internet connection. They gave us a 1 800 number and the problem was resolved. Convenient location off Interstate 15. Regular room with two beds. Hotel was quite busy. Lots of choices for breakfast, but we were on the road before 6 am so only had coffee, yogurt and a fruit cup.
I arrived fairly early and was given a nice room on the ground floor, which I had requested when making my reservation. The room was well furnished and very clean. However, the hot water faucet handle was broken and kept falling off. Otherwise, all the amenities were very satisfactory.
We decided to stop here on our trip from Calgary to Las Vegas. Rooms are very dated and could use a definite up grade. Rooms however seemed clean and they have a decent looking pool if you have little ones and has fairly easy access off the interstate. I would stay here again if we had to, but we would probably try someplace different next time we come we are passing by
Employee's went out of their way to help you and make sure that you were taken care of. The room was exactly what we were looking for. It was clean, well organized and met our every need and the breakfast was great!
We stayed one night in this hotel and we're very pleased all around. It was off of the interstate just a short way...very pretty setting. Bed was comfortable...a big room. I especially enjoyed the breakfast. It was advertised as a continental but had a good selection, and they had real porcelain plates and mugs, and not just plastic utensils...very unusual! Staff was very friendly.
No handicapped accessibility into room and NO accessibility into pool ! Food for breakfast was no appetizing at all! Not enough food. Desk clerk was terribly unfriendly and unhelpful ! This place was unacceptable .. this place was unacceptable .. this place was unacceptable... this place was unacceptable !!
The staff was professional and courteous and the service for pets the same. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Best Westerns. I will use this hotel chain in the future. The staff went above and beyond to take care of my needs.
There is little choice in Nephi, this has the best trip reivews onliine. It is an older property and it shows. The room was clean and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The next nearest hotels are 30+ minutes away if you don't mind driving.
We used this hotel as an overnight stop. The receptionist was welcoming and very helpful. However when we went to our room we found that it had not been cleaned, reception staff were very apologetic and immediately rectified the situation, within twenty minutes the room was immaculate. The room was large and had all the usual amenities and unusually had the air conditioning unit well away from the bed. The bed was very comfortable and as there was no noise, a good night's sleep was assured. Breakfast was very good, hot and plentiful which appears to be the norm these days. The staff in all areas could not have been more accommodating, it is a really good hotel in a small town. Only the unmade room stopped this hotel getting the full five.
The front desk lady was very nice and helpful. You may be able to book online for a little cheaper, we were able to. Room was nice and comfortable. Indoor pool across the parking lot from the rooms. They have a hot breakfast bar in the morning, eggs, etc, and the sausage was really good.
We were very kindly greeted upon arrival. Reception was truly helpful. The rooms are exceptionally clean, recently redecorated and updated and best of all, the memory foam topper provides the best sleep possible. I woke up with no back pain! I'm getting one!!! So far, each Best Western hotel I've stayed at provides this topper. A real plus. A nice breakfast in the very clean lobby. This is probably the best hotel in the area.
A very quiet location away from the urban areas. Front desk was super and breakfast was very good (as usual). Room was clean and bed comfy - got a good night's sleep. Minor issue with sink but a very restful and pleasant stay. Nothing to do in this tiny town, but I was there only for the night so no complaints in that department.
