Best Western Plus Morristown Inn

What a pleasant surprise! We had never stayed at a Best Western Plus as we are on a different rewards program, but we signed up for there's! The staff was over the top helpful. The rooms and the hotel in general were very clean. Breakfast was good, warm cookies in the afternoon! Anything we had a question about or needed help with they were there. This location is walking distance to the hospital, grocery store, and drug store. Downtown Morristown is less than a mile, so we walked to dinner at a number of fine restaurants!

The hotel staff (Andrea, George, Mike) are always friendly, helpful and very accommodating. It is one of the best pet friendly hotels, the beds are super comfortable, breakfast is a very nice offering, evening cookies are delish too. I visit often and really enjoy my overnight stays.

Morristown Inn was a perfect location with family member at Morristown Memorial Hospital. Friendly staff and comfortable rooms Only disappointment was that there are no eateries close by to grab a quick meal. Downtown Morristown is close but parking is an issue.

Exceeded my expectations. Clean, quiet, comfortable, and attractive. Very good breakfast and fitness facility. Heat/AC worked well and wasn't too noisy (a common problem in my own experience). Good location: Quite walkable to center of town.

While the room decor was a bit dated, everything was immaculate! No signs of dirt, hair, or dust in the guest room or bathroom. I had to use the guest laundry and even that was clean! Free breakfast was slightly better than most others. My only two small gripes was the internet kept cutting out and the lighting in the bathroom (shower/tub) was less than desirable. Kind of like showering in a cave.

We arrived after travelling 12 hours. The hotel was located right off the highway. It was very clean and cozy. We loved the building as it had great character. It was decorated very pretty for Fall. The staff were extremely friendly. Breakfast was very delicious and the dining room felt like eating at our parents'! Enjoyed every minute there!!!

We used to live in the Morristown area, and were stopping by on a trip. We stayed at this hotel due to great reviews, and we were not disappointed. We felt value was high, particularly in an expensive area.

All the staff are welcoming, accommodating and pay attention to every detail to ensure that you have an enjoyable experience. The beds are comfortable, the room spacious and impeccably clean. The complimentary hot and cold buffet breakfast is delicious complete with a waffle making station, homemade, fresh oatmeal, eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, flavored oatmeal packets, cold cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt, juices, coffee, tea... and many "toastable" options, i.e. breads, English Muffins, bagels, creamcheese... We hope you get to stay here soon and often!

This was my second stay at the hotel. The first was over a decade ago and that was before I reviewed hotels on TA. Nothing in the hotel has changed as far as I could see. The rooms and good bathrooms were and remain spotlessly clean. The rooms are big by NYC standards, with a refrigerator and microwave oven as well as a large TV with countless channels. The furnishings in the room are more than adequate. Some reviewers claim the property needs to refresh its furniture. They are just nit picking. Breakfast is very good with a wide choice of cereals even gluten free, porridge ( or as Americans call it, “oatmeal”), French toast, waffles, bagels, cheese, jam, Nutella, peanut butter, juices, coffee and many teas from which to choose. And b/fast is thrown in with the cost of the room. There is are two pharmacies drugstores) and upmarket supermarket less than 7 mins walk away. The train to NY Penn station is a good 15 min walk away, but if you're north of 60, I am in my 50s, you may prefer to cab it to the station, especially if you have luggage. Fares are set and not metered. Once I was charged $8 and once $10. Near the train station you'll find a Staples and a very short drive away you'll find a Walmart. With a car, visiting these is easy as pie. Coming from Australia to meet a friend near Morristown and visiting NYC, I had no need to hire a car. In addition, the fact that Americans, like Europeans, drive on the other side of the road, was a hassle I wanted to avoid. So walking and calling cabs was bothersome but manageable. During my stay I interacted with 5 staff members and regret getting the names only of three: Andrea, who is the boss; and on the reception desk Kristina (at night) and Jade (in the day). All were helpful, very friendly and professional in their interactions with me. Even if one has no business in Morristown, the BW is a very pleasant alternative to staying in a similar priced but of much lower quality hotel in NYC. The ride into NY Penn took 58 min and cost $14 each way, $28 round trip. And yes, I will be back. You can count on it.

On the plus side, the Best Western has more reasonable rates than other hotels in the Morristown area. Its location is close to town and very close to the hospital, though neither is walkable. There is a large clean fitness room and breakfast room in the basement. There were many food choices for breakfast. The hotel is dated and some of the public spaces feel like time capsules. Our room was at the back at the hotel, near 287, the highway, which roars all night. When we had the fan on in the room, it was fine, but the HVAC system kept shutting itself off and we could not figure out a way to just turn the fan on continuously. This did not equal a restful night and left me with lots of time to contemplate that the bed and pillows weren't too great either. A room facing the front of the hotel, overlooking South Street, must be much quieter.

Great place to stay for anyone needing/wanting to spend a few nights in the Morristown area. Easy access to and and from the highway, short walk into Morristown center restaurants/bars/shops. The service was professional and welcoming. Good breakfast options. Spotlessly clean room and common areas.

Though the hotel was clean and felt safe, the walls were paper thin (I heard a lady coughing one day as I went to the elevator and the next day on the phone talking about her virus while she was in her room!). The warm breakfast was nice and front desk folks polite and professional, but proximity to the highway and small parking lot less than desirable. The bed was not very comfortable, and they had the small square pillows which were not big enough. It was nearly impossible to get more than a dot of shampoo, soap or conditioner out of the crazy wall dispensers in the shower, and they did not have any additional decaf coffee pods for my second day. Housekeeping was on demand. Overall, I do not think I would stay here again.

The hotel provided excellent service on check in and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has lots of artwork of George Washington on the walls of the lobby and first floor. Our room was very comfortable and the kitchenette while very small had everything we needed. The décor did feel a little dated but everything was clean. We did have a leak in the bathroom from the room above, the guest took a very full bath and the excess water found its way down into our bathroom, a few towels mopped it up. Breakfast was great, there were lots of selections, waffles, French toast, bacon, link sausage, patty sausage, and many more options. The breakfast room tables all had table cloths with glass tops and a vase of artificial flowers on them. I would say the hotel had a more elegant or sophisticated feel to it than the normal chain hotels we stay in. I was very comfortable and I enjoyed my stay here. I would definitely stay here again if I am in the area.

Terrific location for a show at Mayo Performing Arts Center (just half a mile down the road) and east access to lots of great restaurants. Wonderful staff, comfortable room, lots of food options for breakfast.

This stay was a bit of a splurge for us, but worth it. The location was convenient as we were travelling thru, yet surprisingly quiet, perhaps due to the thicker walls of the older building. I love that they reduce waste by having dispensers in the shower. The breakfast buffet contained the standard full options (waffles, eggs, meats, cereal, fresh fruit, etc.) The room was very clean, including the filters on the air unit, a rarity!! And they allow dogs, in rooms close to the front door - handy! Although I didn't see a dedicated do area it was easy to walk around the building. Oh, and 2 EV charging ports!

So easy to get to. A super clean, comfortable stay! We had an issue with our reservation, but it was resolved promptly with assurance. Breakfast was outstanding, compared to our stays at other hotels! A free plug in was available for our EV car! Close to the Mayo Arts Center. Will definitely come again and cannot give it high enough marks.

We always choose to stay at the Morristown, NJ BWP on our trips south and back north. We love the feel of the hotel and the location right outside of the downtown area. Close to restaurants and other services.

This is a clean and comfortable place to stay. The employees are all professionals and attentive. They do everything to make your stay a pleasant one! The breakfast was tasty and warm, and the bed was very comfortable. A great place to stay!

A welcoming restful stop with our dog. Great location near shops, restaurants, and parks. Breakfast is delightful (great coffee, juice, waffles, eggs, toast, yogurt, cereal, fresh fruit selections to name a few). My husband and I stayed at the Best Western for 7 nights while we were having work done on our home. Being local, we were aware of the great town Morristown is and that there are other hotel options. We chose this one based on recent reviews and they were so true! This was one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had. The staff is so nice including the front desk, the breakfast team and housekeeping, I especially want to thanks the front desk staff for being so accommodating to us as our schedule kept changing. They went out of their way to make sure our needs were met. The hotel is extremely quiet and felt quite homey. The included breakfast was very good! Plenty of choices and everything was fresh. There is always coffee and tea in the lobby and warm afternoon cookies! I highly recommend the Best Western in Morristown!!

excellent place to stay and staff are wonderful , you can walk the main avenue with shops, restaurants, theatre, as well as enjoy a hotel filled with George Washington photos, and founder of this establishment. Decorating matches the history. also they volunteer their hotel to students that are blind to train with their seeing eye dogs, photos are displayed in their beautiful lobby. there are books in lobby to be used while staying in their establishment. coffee, tea are available 24/7 down in lobby. parking is spacious, the establishment is clean, and again a cozy home like environment.

This is a really nice hotel! The staff was great! Very accommodating to our needs! Our room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. They had a very good breakfast too! Lots of variety and it was real food! We would definitely stay here again!

The vibe here is elegant family home. The staff feels like distant relatives entertaining, and the walk to historic downtown is quick and gorgeous. When you arrive back in the evening, you enter to the smell of fresh baked cookies and a wine tasting. Oh, and Fido is more than welcome! In fact, he gets a treat and ear scritches or roobs from staff, if he'd like. I highly recommend staying here for a calm respite during your business trip or visiting the hospital. You will feel right at home.

The hotel is very conveniently located in Morristown and offers free parking. However, it is old and tired and looks like it hasn't been re-decorated in many years. It smelled a bit musty, although it was clean. The offering of a "full breakfast" is a bit misleading. It's a self-serve experience with ordinary choices. Not at all impressive. The price seems high for what you get.

This Best Western location is excellent. Very quaint hotel in a nice, inviting town. The room was very clean, the bathroom is good size. Beds were comfortable. Check in staff was very personable and had just baked some delicious cookies. Morristown is about a mile down the road and is an adorable town with lots of eateries and a nice park. Each night Morristown had a different function going on and everyone there was courteous and inviting. Liberty State Park is about 40 minutes away and a trip to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island is well worth the time. Nice breakfast selection. Our only con with breakfast was that the eggs and sausage the first morning needed warmed in the microwave. The second morning they were steaming hot, though. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Short version: every aspect of our experience was excellent, and the location gave us quick access to a family member in the ICU at Morristown Memorial Hospital. Long version: A family member was admitted to the ICU and the staff at Morristown Memorial recommended the Best Western Plus Morristown Inn as a high quality place to stay that was very close to the hospital. We arrived to the hotel late at night with no reservation and we were immediately given a room that exceeded every aspect of our needs. Here's the good and bad: Good: - The staff were friendly and accommodating, and they were compassionate in asking about our family member; they were also flexible with our uncertainty on how long we'd be staying - My wife hates the smell of hotels, but she said this hotel was great and didn't have the typical industrial hotel smell - Parking was free and plentiful - The breakfast was far better than most free continental breakfasts - The room had everything we needed, including wifi and a desk with ample outlets - The king bed was incredibly comfortable - The climate control in the room was quick, effective, and easy to use - I didn't hear other guests or traffic outside - The public areas of the hotel were well maintained and had a vintage vibe that I really liked - The rate I paid was far less than I expected, based on past visits to chain hotels in Morris County - It took us less than 3 minutes to transition from being asleep at the hotel to being at the front entrance of Morristown Memorial Hospital - this is huge when you're there to be with someone at the hospital Bad: - When we got to the hotel, there was a sign at the front desk saying they'd be right back; staff did arrive within a couple minutes, but a bell or a phone number to call would have made me feel less uncertain about how long I'd be waiting My list of good things could go on and on, but honestly, that's the only bad thing about my experience I can come up with. Overall, this was an excellent experience and I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Morristown, and especially to anyone who needs a good location close to the hospital.

This "inn "was easy to use -had good parking -friendly employees in reception and at breakfast--needs ice available on all floors--darkening drapes--and a somewhat brighter bathroom--All in all--quite comfortable--

For a conveniently located hotel, in walking distance to many shops and restaurants and immediate access to connecting roadways this Best Western is the best. Also the staff, rooms and morning breakfast are all excellent, you will not be disappointed. Simply outstanding.

The Best Western is by far the best hotel in Morristown NJ. The customer service is excellent from reserving the rooms by phone, to check-in, morning breakfast and checking out. The rooms are perfect and the hotel is located just a couple of walking blocks to all the action.

My husband and I stayed overnight to meet family in Morristown. As a Jersey girl who relocated to Pennsylvania a long time ago, this hotel made me feel like I was coming back home. Historic atmosphere is exceptional. Closeness to downtown is a plus; we could even walk the half-mile to the downtown area where good restaurants abound. Would definitely stay here again.

Have stayed at this location several times and have always been completely satisfied. Rooms are nice, staff is great, breakfast is very good. Bonus....fresh, complimentary cookies available at front desk.

A great little gem of a hotel away from the downtown area (although still very close). Reasonable prices and good amenities - great value. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. We always stay there while in the area - very consistent.

Disappointed by the reviews. Older rooms, worn mattress, loud guests next door with poor insulation between rooms. Musty or older smell...could have been a pet smell. Happened to be close to our destination and convenient off the highway.

We always stay here when visiting friends in this area. It's been awhile since we have been able to visit and this hotel is still very clean, a friendly staff and a great breakfast. Even given some of the covid protocols the breakfast is still excellent. Great value - you can't go wrong here.

The staff was not welcoming at the front desk. I felt like my questions were annoying the front desk. The beds were so uncomfortable, and housekeeping forgot to clean our room during our stay. Not what we were expecting.

Just completed our first stay at this hotel and would recommend it highly. Our reservation/room choice was honored exactly as requested, and the room itself was spacious and comfortable. So often little details are overlooked, but that was not the case here. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the breakfast (included). The staff was notably professional and courteous. And, very convenient access to both Morristown and I-287.

Was scared one early morning hearing a couple argue violently in the room next door. Took management over 30 minutes to respond, even though it was two doors down from the office. I didn't feel safe anymore so I changed hotels. I was told there would be coffee 24/7. I had the room next to the office. Went out at 5:30 am. No coffee. Waited til 7:00am. Still no coffee.

My husband was having spinal surgery and the hotel is right around the corner from Morristown Hospital. Very convenient plus you receive a special rate if you are having a procedure at the hospital. Thank you Best Western.

We had an amazing trip at this hotel. It was within walking distance to restaurants and the train station. The staff were wonderful! They were friendly, accommodating, and efficient. The breakfast had a very good variety of items to choose from including gluten-free muffins! The only issue that we had was that our room was right next to the highway and the noise was very loud. The staff accommodated us by letting us switch rooms to the other side where the noise was much quieter at no added expense to us.

The hotel location is great, walkable distance from down town, restaurants, pharmacies, food store. The staff at front desk very professional, friendly and helpful. The room was impeccable. If I may say something not so positive is a bit pricy, other than that I give if 5 stars.

Classic style hotel in a neighborhood setting. Many restaurants in walking distance. Staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We will be staying there again the next time we are in town.

Great hotel right off the highway! The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. We had a fantastic breakfast and there was something for everyone in the family. Really happy with our experience!

I have zero complaints about this surprisingly nice hotel. Honestly, I booked a night due to location and price. I had no high expectations for a Best Western. I was wrong. The exterior is clean, well maintained and attractive with flower beds in front. Located on a busy street, I found the property easily with GPS. The young lady at the reception desk was professional and friendly. Check-in was quick and efficient. Delicious warm cookies were there for the taking! The lobby and halls are reminiscent of the 80's, but very clean. My large room (212) was well furnished, clean and comfy. My room faced the busy street in front - but I never heard any street noise. The bathroom is typical sized - with a tub / shower. The location felt safe and I'd have no problem walking around there. Do yourself a favor and make the Best Western Plus your choice if in Morristown.

We are long time customers of this hotel. It is a comfortable and quiet place to stay in Morristown. They go out of their way to make sure you are well cared for. The location is close to major highways.and shopping amenities.

The Best Western Plus Morristown Inn is a small, family run establishment that is my go-to place whenever I am in the area. It is clean, very affordable, and very professionally run in addition to having an exceptionally nice staff.

We enjoyed our stay here. It was clean, quiet and less than a mile from a bustling, walkable restaurant district with many choices of eateries. The area is upscale and pleasant, as is the hotel. My only caution is that this hotel has one elevator, which was briefly inconvenient at times since our room was on the third floor.

We stayed overnight to be there for a Tunnel to Towers event. Location of hotel was amazing. We parked our car and used it only once while we were there. You can walk into town for restaurants and shopping. Other attractions were only a short drive away. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. We are looking forward to return and attend a concert or show at a theatre there.

We stayed here overnight on our way to Vermont from Virginia. It's conveniently located by the interstate but not noisy. The room was comfy and clean, and continental breakfast was included. The hotel is only about a 15 minute walk into the center of Morristown with lots of restaurants to choose from.

We have stayed here in June of 2018 and the staff remains outstanding.We would remiss if we did not compliment Andrea who had been working days during our stay. (July 21-24) She went above to assist us relocate our belongings to a different room. Always with a smile .The rooms are beautiful and well appointed.You would be remiss not to catch breakfast,a healthy selection of fresh fruit,juices,muffins,hard boiled eggs,etc.

This is one of these hotels where is soon as you pull up to it you are so pleasantly surprised. It just has a very quiet looking appearance. I would describe it almost as old-school traditional. We thoroughly enjoyed staying it was very clean our room was absolutely fantastic the lobby was very quaint they treated us so nicely and we will be making other trips to Morristown in the future and know that this will be the place where we will stay. It's also Extremely close to Morristown medical Center only a half mile walk which was great for us because we were there to visit the maternity ward not for us but for another family member lol anyway we also got a special rate because we were visiting the hospital just another reason why we highly recommend this hotel

This property meets all of our expectations. Could not be better. During the pandemic, the personnel tried to make things as comfortable as possible. Wrapped snacks in lobby. Employees at desk were very helpful and accommodating.

We have stayed at this hotel several times and it is still one of our favorite choices for the area. It is still a very good choice for a very clean, comfortable, convenient location for folks visiting the Morristown area. On the plus side, the hotel is very clean, the beds are very comfortable, and most of the staff are polite, professional, and friendly. Some minor concerns- half the rooms have a door that is able to connect to an adjoining room. This would be convenient if you had a large family and needed two hotel rooms. For my wife and I who only needed one room, this was a negative for us because our hotel neighbors were very noisy and the laughter and loud talking seeped through the adjoining door, which was annoying when we were trying to relax and go to bed. We had to call the main desk two nights in a row to ask them to request that the neighbors quiet down, which they did. If there were a way for the hotel to create better sound blocking insulation of the doors to the adjoining rooms, that would be helpful. The other issue to be aware of because of the COVID pandemic, which hopefully will be a non-issue in the months to come, is that the dining room for breakfast is closed because of COVID. This is very unfortunate (though understandable) because the very nice breakfast was a very nice perk of staying at this hotel. The variety of eggs, waffles, toasts, cereal, fruit, etc. was enjoyable when offered in the breakfast room. The meager food they put out in the lobby during this stay, is just not the same as the nice breakfast. Though the bathroom is relatively small, it is very clean and adequate with a very nice bathtub with shower, with nice hot water and a good quality shower head. One change they made, which I did not like is that they put a little dispenser on the wall in the shower for body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. (We had no conditioner in our dispenser.) You have to pump each dispenser many times to get enough soap or shampoo to do a decent job, and they installed the dispenser in an inconvenient place, right where the stream of water is coming down from the shower head, which makes it hard to read which dispenser is which while the water is hitting you in the face/head. The dispenser could have been put anywhere else on that wall, instead of right near the shower head. I say bring back the bottles of shampoo, and leave out an extra bar of soap, and forget about the dispensers. Despite these concerns, this hotel is still a very good choice. It will be even better, when the breakfast room is open again and up and running for their very nice, variety of cold and hot foods for breakfast.

Lovely hotel with wonderful welcoming staff. Reasonably priced, very clean and comfortable. Building appears historic and very nicely decorated. Location is terrific, within walking distance of the downtown area. Loads of restaurants within an easy walk. Will definitely return here!

I stayed here for 6 nights while a family member had surgery at Morristown Hospital. I really appreciated how close this hotel was to the hospital. They offer grab and go items every morning for Breakfast and coffee 24 hrs a day. Cookies at night. The staff was very accommodating and helpful when we needed to extend our stay (thanks Andrea). Jim was helpful during the initial booking as we need a handicapped accessible room on the first floor. The microfridge fridge in the room was a god-sent. Especially during snowy days. Their staff also worked hard to clean up the entire parking lot after daily snow storms! UGH.

I couldn't have made a better choice in this place, from the check in desk , the friendly greeting to the most spotless clean room. I was absolutely happy from the get go... the shower was again spotless with all your hair and body wash needs hanging from dispensers on the wall. The Beds were so comfortable, microwave and mini fridge.. I WILL BE BACK !!!! 5 stars.

Haven't stayed in a Best Western in over 20 years but needed o be in the area, saw the reviews and the rates were the same as hotels in the same city. OMG what a shocker. Extremely clean rooms, friendly front desks clerks in a very nice quiet location just set off the main road. Quality bedding, towels etc and always a friendly "hello," from the staff. You can see they take pride in they job. Customer service was like a 5-star hotel in a family hotel setting. I wish they weren't sold out for the two additional days I wanted to add. I've never experienced a better Choice Hotel property than this one. Who would have guessed?

A great place to stay in Morristown N J. Close to all things in Morristown, very clean, friendly staff. Easy walking distance from restaurants on South St, Short walk to Morristown Hospital. TYhis is the ONE and only place to stay in Morristown.

I got the pleasure to stay at the Best Western Plus because my job offered myself and other coworkers the opportunity to live there for up to a month to keep our families safe during this unprecedented time. And from the moment I walked in to the hotel, I knew I had made the right decision by staying here. The staff were very generous and approachable from the start. They made me feel very welcomed and safe because I was nervous living somewhere new for a period of time. They were very diligent in keep everything clean, and wore the proper PPE at all times. They gave me extra linen and towels whenever I needed them and provided us with the use of the laundry room. They put themselves on the front line to help us healthcare workers and I can't thank them enough. They made the hotel feel like a home and all of us feel like a family. I was sad to leave.

Hospital generously provided this place for healthcare workers. I ended up living there for over a month. Friendly accommodating staff. Clean. Bit dated but everything works. Much appreciated for everything

I booked this hotel last minute due to its location near the hospital. I specifically booked a room with two twin beds using a third party booking site. Upon arriving, I was told that I could not check in early because there were no rooms ready, despite the parking lot being empty. Seems strange but ok. I left to take a phone call, and came back. This time I was also informed that the room I booked was not available (two twin beds), but I can have an upgraded room with a queen bed. I explained that I needed two beds, and that I'll just cancel the transaction. The gentleman behind the desk told me that he was unable to cancel the booking because it was done through a third party, and that I would have to contact them for cancellation. I explained that the room I booked is not available. He let out a big sigh and rolled his eyes and said that's the problem with third party booking sites. So I immediately called the booking site and explained the situation. They said they would put me on hold and contact the hotel and see if we can get it resolved. They told me that the hotel is the one with my money, and they just have get approval from the hotel for the cancellation. I waited on hold for about 5 minutes, when the representative at the booking company came back and said the hotel refuses to cancel. I asked to speak to a supervisor, who also put me on hold and again called the hotel front desk, where they again refused to refund my money. I was able to contest it with my bank and get the charge reversed. I have still yet to be offered an apology from the hotel. You cannot sell someone the wrong product and then refuse a refund. For that reason I would highly recommend staying away from this hotel, and if you must book a room here, use a credit card from a reputable bank that will stand behind you should they decide to change your room and then refuse to cancel the booking upon request.

The Best Western Plus Morristown is good value for the money. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Facility is well maintained. I have stayed at the hotel several times and the experience is consistently good.

We needed to travel during the coronavirus pandemic. The hotel contacted us the day before we arrived to let us know they would be open but the restaurant in their building would be closed. They contacted us by email the day we were to arrive with information about breakfast options. The person at the front desk when we arrived had a list of restaurants that would deliver if we wanted to order dinner. They put us in a room with a kitchenette so that we could easily eat dinner in our rooms. We appreciated the care they showed to make sure we were as comfortable as possible, given the unusual circumstances.

Hotel is located conveniently for business dealings in morristown. staff is friendly and helpful. Facility is clean, well maintained, and comfortable. Good breakfast offerings. I would recommend to anyone having business in morristown or nearby.

This was our second stay at this hotel. We were welcomed by a gentleman that went out of his way to make us feel at home. Check in was fast as always. This staff is wonderful and the property is spotless! The work out room is great even equipped with a pelton bike! We will definitely be back when we are in the area! Thanks again for treating us as family!

Easy access off the highway, the room was great everything was clean and fresh. This place has fresh omelets made to order and eggs made to order. Breakfast here was was included with the room rate. this saved me $30 dollars.

We arrived after a long drive and asked about a room, clerk said yes and I asked about price. Much more than we wanted to pay, said I was a BS member, AARP, AAA etc. no better price. Was ready to walk out and find another place when manager offered a better price, still more than we wanted to pay but at least reasonable. Hotel was very nice and breakfast was outstanding. Wish we had a better check in experience but understand that not knowing a price in advance is a disadvantage. We like BW and especially the Plus versions.

Booked a room at this hotel. Walked in at 2:15, started to say my name and politely asked if we could check in a little early, and the front desk clerk looked at me like I had 3 heads, cut me off in the middle of my sentence, and rudely said check-in isn't until 3:00. Keep in mind it was a Tuesday and there were about 3 cars in the parking lot. I asked if it was possible to check in early, since we had just driven for 10 hours and my family was waiting in the car. He rolled his eyes, let out a big sigh, and rudely said "I'll see if I can have a room ready in a half hour. That's the best I can do." Keep in mind it was 2:15. At this point I asked him to just cancel the reservation. There's plenty of other hotels around, and I'd rather spend an extra $10 and not be treated like garbage when I check in. He told me that I couldn't cancel because I didn't give 24 hours notice. I guess when they know you can't cancel, they can treat you however they want? That's ok, I called my bank and put a stop payment on my credit card from the lobby of this disgusting hotel. Maybe the front desk clerk who looks like William Bonin should treat customers with a little respect if he wants to work in customer service.

We had just drove from Winston Salem NC (10 hours usually) and been stuck in a huge traffic jam (4 hours completely stopped). 14 hours of travel. And we forgot our entire toiletry bag at home. We were exhausted and had NOTHING for toiletries. At 1:30am on 1/31/2020 we pulled in and got a room and told desk clerk we had nothing and needed whatever free toiletries we could have. He said, rudely 'What do you want?'- I then told him we just drove 14 hours and I can't think but we need everything from shampoo to razors to deodorant to Q tips. He then told me shampoo in the Room. I said yes I know it's in the Room but we need everything else. He refused to offer me anything and made me individually ask for every single thing a normal person would use when they wake up and then he handed me a toothbrush, toothpaste and a small Secret deodorant. Wow. Thanks so much guy for your hospitality. There was absolutely no one besides us there you think the guy could have just told us what he had available and then I could have told him from that what we needed but he made me stand there and name off each individual item that I wished I had with me. His whole attitude was just really rude. We stay at Best Western when we travel all the time and are members of the rewards program ( Which come to think of it he never even asked and I don't see it on my receipt) but next time we are going to the Hilton.

Wife & I traveled to Morristown for an evening concert & found BW to be perfect for our needs: reputable, reasonable rates, conveniently located to the venue with plenty of restaurants within walking distance in a safe, comfortable neighborhood of businesses and apartments. Clean, efficient registration on-line, including an email to prepare and answer most prominent questions that you might have. The front desk was superb on both ends. Both answered questions and gave suggestions when asked. The only drawback with the double-bed room was that the beds were a little too narrow for us to sleep together (we're both average size) but not a major issue. Room was adequate with amenities but I wonder if anyone takes tub baths anymore. The complimentary breakfast was totally adequate, offering something for every taste ;) including self-made waffles and MTO omelettes. The recently refurbished exercise room offers enough to keep your fitness regimen in tact and even had Peloton. In closing, we found no flaws; the staff and everything connected with our stay to be exceptional. We will certainly look for BW on our next excursion(s.) They earned it!

Weathering the storm more easily because the Best Western Hotel and Staff guided us through. Arriving for a funeral and unfamiliar areas were made easier with the assistance from Ray. We were in walking distance for a meal and when the rains came the next day we were fortified by the breakfast and special treatment of Carolyn and the staff.! The covered entrance/ exit served us well! Thank you!

Well run, very clean and an excellent breakfast. Comfortable bed and well appointed bathroom. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Parking is plentiful and there is easy access to the lobby. Rooms are good size and in very good shape.

This Best Western is well situated by downtown Morristown and the hospital. This 1980's colonial-style building, fits well with the history of the city. Breakfast was very good and the room was new and comfortable.

Room was clean and front desk clerk was extremely helpful, gave us the extra towel we asked for, came down to fix the television when we couldn't get it to work and he was able to switch the wires and get it to work (very important with 2 children), as we were checking out my oldest couldn't find her glasses and he gave me the key to recheck the room, luckily she found them at the bottom of her bag. May have been noisy as our room was towards the highway but I always have ear plugs when traveling, my husband and children slept well. The breakfast was good, but a few things I didn't like. The muffins are unwrapped so at times people don't use tongs and are touching the food, we got a chocolate muffin but it tasted like banana which was unappealing. I wish the milk had been in cartons as well, when in the milk containers the milk runs out quickly or has been sitting around and is hot. I would also have a container where you could fill up water bottles, they had water but it was in the same containers of the milk so didn't want to fill up my water bottle with it.

We always stay at this Best Western which we believe to be the nicest BW we have stayed in. The atmosphere here is warm and welcoming. One of the best features is its location. You are within walking distance of the town of Morristown which means shopping and restaurants as well As the train for a trip to NY. The staff at this BW is very helpful and the breakfast is hearty. Whenever we visit this area we stay at this great hotel.

We love the Best Western Plus Morristown. It's clean, the rooms are comfortable and the location is amazing! But, what keeps us coming back is the incredible staff who treats us like family each year.

Stayed here for 1 night while me and my children were visiting their father at The Seeing Eye. The hotel let us check in 2 hours early. Nice clean place, the front desk staff was very helpful about food options and stuff. Very very convenient to get to. Would definitely stay there again.

Reasonably priced older hotel, spacious rooms, excellent breakfast included, with omelette station for "fresh" eggs. Most imnportant: all staff were terrific, from top to bottom. We stey there because of proximity to visit our kids in Mendham, plus Morristown has great restaurants, etc

The hotel was Clean, comfortable and has an amazing breakfast buffet with made to order omelettes. Carolyn was a great egg chef and made you feel welcome. The hotel is well located and a great value. !

We always enjoy staying at the Morristown Inn- when we have the option, it is the only place we stay when visiting. The people that work at the front desk- Allison and George- are helpful and very nice. The restaurant where breakfast is served is first-rate- Lamont and Caroline, who work in the restaurant, deserve a "shout-out" as well. The rooms are comfortable and unassuming- nothing fancy but perfectly nice.

The hotel is very well taken care of and has a nice cozy feel to it. All of the staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant. The room was spotless, supplied with a nice size refrigerator & microwave. Coffee/Tea maker, hairdryer and basic toiletries are also included. Bed was very comfortable. Shower was great, plenty of hot water. The hotel is easy off and on the Interstate. About a 20 minute walk to downtown Morristown. They have a shuttle that runs in the morning hours Monday thru Friday. Breakfast was one of the best I've ever had at a hotel. The omelet station was the best feature (no powdered eggs here!), also fresh bacon and sausage, then the regular assortment of danish, breads, muffins, cereals, yogurts, oatmeal, a waffle maker, fruits, juices, coffee & tea. etc. The breakfast room (and it is it's own private room), was very quant with linen tablecloths on the tables.. Not the normal loud cafeteria type free breakfast room some hotels use, or something right off the main lobby. You really felt like you were having a wonderful cooked breakfast here at this hotel. Real plates and silverware too. There is a fitness center and sauna, there is no pool. Downtown is filled with lovely restaurants and shops. Plenty of historical sites to visit in the area as well. I would highly recommend staying here.

This is located right off the interstate and only a 5 minute drive from town center. The staff is very friendly, professional and helpful. My husband and I were driving back to VA from Cape Cod when we got stuck in so much traffic that we had to stop for the night. We booked this place on a whim and without any previous knowledge of it. We were both so impressed that we joked we should come back to Morristown to explore the area and just to stay here again! My only complaint would be no pool.

Great staff. Very clean room. Comfortable bedding. Excellent choices at breakfast, including an egg station. It's just less than a mile to downtown Morristown -- an easy walk. One downside is that rooms near the Rt. 287 side of the building will get the highway noise. Disposable earplugs are provided in the bathroom supplies.

I stayed at the Best Western Plus in Morristown for one night (Fri-Sat) in August, and I have absolutely no complaints about it. There was ample free parking on the premises, the lobby was charming, and check-in was a breeze. All the paperwork and keys were prepared ahead of time, and I need to show only an ID. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The room faced the parking lot, and I wasn't disturbed by any outside noise or noise in the hallway. The room was very quiet. Breakfast was included in our stay, but we didn't partake because we woke up late. The hotel is close (within walking distance) to the business district with many restaurant options. This hotel was perfect for the one night that we needed to stay in Morristown.

My husband and I stayed at the Best Western while in Morristown for a friends wedding. Everything about our stay was perfect. Ryan, the gentleman at the front desk, was able to accommodate our early check-in request, as we had arrived after driving through the night from Charleston, SC. He was so kind and welcoming, and made our check in a breeze. Ryan also saved the day with a complimentary mini sewing kit, when I discovered the dress I was about to wear to the wedding had a tear! Ryan was always accessible, and truly made our stay amazing. The rooms were clean, fresh, and spacious. The linens and pillows were comfortable, and the bed was restful. If we are back in Morristown again, we will definitely be staying here! Thank you Ryan, for making our stay so wonderful!

We attended a conference at the best Western plus in Morristown this July and our stay was excellent. The hotel staff was friendly and professional and helped us with any thing we needed. The hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable.

Earlier this month (July 2019) I traveled with coworkers for a quick business trip and stayed here one night. Some of us had meetings and needed to work upon arriving at 1, and the front desk staff graciously accommodated some of us with early check ins for our rooms and also provided a meeting space downstairs. There are complimentary wine and cookies (both oatmeal raisin and chocolate chip for our visit!) around check in time, and they went above and beyond by providing our group with umbrellas and an excellent dinner recommendation for La Campagna, within walking distance. My room was very nice and quite large; my only complaint was that the carpet was damp along the bed and had a musty-covered-by-cleaner smell. Breakfast was very good, with batter for waffles, a berry compote, and a chef to make omelets to order! Other than those perks, standard fare. I had oatmeal with berries and it was very good. We always stay here when we visit this client. I recommend it for an easy stay!

We had a group of 46 people at a weekend meeting (Friday-Sunday) and everything was great. The hotel management, front desk and staff were all very accommodating, very pleasant and helpful! The hotel is beautiful, clean and an ideal location. Parking is very convenient. It's not super large and not small, so just the right size! The rooms were great, clean and comfortable. We highly recommend it for groups as well as individuals and families in the area.

Third time here. Never disappoints. Friendliest staff anywhere. Clean rooms. Beds are great. Breakfast fantastic. Real oatmeal with healthy toppings including diced fruit. Made to order omelets - no hotels give you that for free. Love staying here when anywhere in area.

My spouse and I spent one night here. The hotel is in need of an update: lobby very tired looking and the rooms a bit on musty side. The free breakfast in a basement room was pretty awful: rotten fruit, limited selection of hot and healthy options.

In town for a family event. Check in was a breeze due to the warm hospitality provided by Ray. The room was as pictured - clean, updated and comfortable. Great water pressure in the shower. Complimentary breakfast was great. Lots of options - cereals, fruit, yogurt, pastries, waffles and made to order eggs / omelets. Caroline provided excellent service with a warm smile for everyone who had breakfast at the hotel. Those who stay in rooms on the back side may hear highway noise (earplugs were provided in the bathroom which was thoughtful). Opt for the front if you are a light sleeper. Check out was a breeze. When in the area again, will definitely stay here.

The title of this review sums says it all. On the trip advisor website, you can see a picture of a typical room with a king-size bed. My room was exactly as pictured: what's more, very comfortable bed, very clean room, quiet at night. Complimentary breakfast included an omelet station and anything else you might want for the first meal of the day. Ray, the receptionist, impressed me with his courtesy and service; when I called the front desk to ask something about my room, he personally came up to answer my question and make certain that I was satisfied with my room. The hotel is a five-minute walk away from the downtown area where one has a choice of dining venues. If you prefer, there is a market nearby where you can serve yourself freshly-prepared food to take out. The hotel offers free parking. Moderate rates.

I was quoted one rate and then when I checked in, it was another (much higher) rate. The guy at the front desk seemed to take pleasure in telling me that I wouldn't get another hotel room in Morristown for cheaper because every place was sold out. The quality of the hotel was definitely not what I paid for it. It's old and run down.

Close location to center of town, excellent friendly check in and out experience. Got recommendations to local restaurants. The on site restaurant has moved. Center of town, while we drove, maybe a 15 minute walk to the Mayo and many restaurant options. Room was clean, up to date and had all amenities we needed including a small fridge, Nice hot breakfast including cooked to order omelets. Would come back for another visit.

We had spent the week on Cape Cod and decided that we would stay in Morristown for the last night before continuing the drive to PA the next morning. We could not have asked for more. Special thanks to Ryan for welcoming us so kindly and professionally. Plenty of parking, gorgeous rooms, extremely comfortable beds, no street noise, a great nights sleep and a full free breakfast in the morning. Who could ask for more? Thank you and we will be back.

Manager Ray was extremely nice, giving us appropriate discounts even though it was the last room available for the night. The lady making the omelettes at breakfast was extremely careful to make it quickly and beautifully. And she was very pleasant as well. The fruits were fresh, the oatmeal yummy, the coffee plentiful. It was WONDERFUL.

Every one of the hotel clerks that I encountered was very friendly and professional. They have a great HOT free breakfast where they served omelettes, bacon, sausage, potatoes, and pastries, cereal, and more. The room was clean and well maintained. The entire place has a historical feel and has a George Washington there.

We stayed at Best Western as a halfway point to getting home. The staff was helpful and polite. The room was clean and comfortable. The beds were FANTASTIC! Great coffee in the lobby and a great free breakfast!

My wife and I stayed here for 6 nights then a further 2 nights after a break away. This is our 4th visit to the hotel and it never disappoints. The room is always immaculate with all the amenities we require. Special praise must go to all the staff at the front desk, nothing is too much trouble and their sociability is next to none, such pleasant people. The hotel is ideally located and is a 10 min walk into town for shops, bars and restaurants of which there are plenty. Also have to praise the breakfast of which is top quality and plentiful. Lovely staff and the omelettes are great. If you're coming to Morristown this is the place to stay, I can't recommend it highly enough.

It was my first stay at the Best western Plus Inn at Morristown. I would gladly stop there during my next trip. The staff were very friendly. The room was clean and cosy. We had a chef prepare eggs and omelettes for breakfast. We felt like VIP customers !!!

Loved its charm and friendly staff. Room was great but I accidentally left behind my doggie bag in freezer. However they had a freezer which was a bonus. Plus breakfast was excellent and the omelet was delicious. Just a lovely hotel.

I traveled with my daughter for a competition in town. I called multiple times prior to staying and asked for a late check out. Each time I was told a manager would call me back. They never did. When I arrived I asked again, told them I did not hear anything from a manager. The staff apologized and told me someone would contact me that night. Again, no one did. Once in the room the entire soaps were empty including hand soap and shampoo. This was not replaced. The hotel was average however the service was terrible. I will be traveling to Morristown once a year in March, but will never again stay in this hotel.

I waited too long to make hotel reservations, so I needed to find an inexpensive hotel that was not far from the center of town. Also, because I drove to this hotel I liked how easy it was to access next to Route 287. The staff at front desk were extremely friendly and helpful, and this was consistent from making my reservation through check-out. I can see that some people might not like the décor because it has not been upgraded in some time, but this was a clean and well-maintained property with great staff and to me that is most important.

I stayed at this Best Western Morristown Inn for business. It is an easy walk to the downtown area restaurants etc. THe staff is friendly and the food was great. I would recommend staying here. For a pleasant trip.

Everything from the location, the friendly staff and the full breakfast makes this Best Western stand out above the rest. The room was recently updated, the staff was extremely courteous. I would certainly stay there again. The room has a fridge and microwave for convenience. Good internet service too.

I stayed at this hotel because my daughter delivered her baby at Morristown Medical Hospital (amazing hospital btw) and it's literally walking distance ... even in February when it was cold out it was a quick walk. So, the convenience factor to the hospital is excellent! Anyway, things took a turn and the baby ended up staying at the hospital after my daughter was released. The hotel was amazing in that although they were close to being fully occupied they juggled some things and I was able to not only extend my stay but also they found a room for my daughter and her husband so they could be close to the hospital also!! We will always be very grateful for that! So, along with convenience, cleanliness, complimentary breakfast, free parking, the staff is pretty awesome!!

It is a excellent hotel. There is a very nice outside view from room window. Very friendly and helpful staff specially Alison, Gina and few more I am not recalling names. Delicious breakfast. There is a walking distance to Wallgreens, Kings super market and many banks/ATMs. Thanks to Jim Hecox for promptly resolving long distance call charges issue. Overall best western is best to stay.

We stay extended periods of time at this Best Western (121 nights this past year), and the staff and facility are always top notch. The entire staff is personable and always willing to help. They take the time to know their customers' names and situations. In addition, it is so conveniently located to everything we need and we enjoy the walkability of the area. Truly the best place we have ever stayed. We will continue to make this our home away from home when in New Jersey visiting our family.

The hotel was clean and the staff was very helpful. The room (111) was huge and very clean. The bed was very comfortable, I got a great night's sleep. Breakfast was standard fare, including a make your own waffle station, except for an omelet station which was a great touch. My only complaint, not about the hotel specifically, but about the location was I needed to take public transit back into the city if I did not want to drive. All of the food and drinks are a good 20 minute walk from the hotel. That generally isn't far, but is not desirable after a full day of work. Availability of eateries aside, I would definitely stay here again.

This is a well-appointed older hotel, that has been cared for and updated where possible without losing it's charm and historical feel. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with a few extra amenities included. The staff was friendly. There is a restaurant downstairs which was very convenient for a tired business traveler. The food was good, though I found the music a bit loud for my taste and the Carribean - American Style cuisine seemed out of place for the venue. Never the less, the Honey BBQ wings were delicious as were other menu items. The location is right on a main street across from a school, but the local police help guide morning traffic.

This hotel appears to be the only halfway reasonably priced place in Morristown, NJ. Although an older facility built in the 1980s, it is well maintained, and some of the staff are well above average. In particular, Lamont in the breakfast room runs an excellent operation and is very pleasant and professional. He made omelets to order, along with offering all the usual breakfast items.

While trying to get to a relative's funeral service,we were stranded in the Nor'easter Nov 15th with no place to stay safe when we were forced off the highway because of car trouble. The hotel was booked up. The staff invited us to stay in the lobby in hopes they had a cancellation. We had dinner in their restaurant and later did get a room. And we were not the only people they helped that night. The hotel is spotless and the room was 100%. The staff is upbeat, pleasant, and everyone went out of their way to make us comfortable.

I stayed at the Morristown Inn/Best Western Plus last night and was pleasantly surprised. The Inn has a very historic feel and I was met by a charming man at reception. There are real plants in the bedrooms and the windows open! This morning, I enjoyed a delicious omelette made by a very nice young man. The rooms were very clean with fresh caulking in the tubs. The beds were comfortable, fluffy pillow and nice fresh sheets. This morning, I could not find a pair of earrings that had tremendous sentimental value. I literally tossed the room, but could not find the earrings both before and after breakfast. Finally, I had to check out and as I did, I told Alison at reception about the earrings and she promised to keep an eye out for them. As I arrived at my meeting, the phone rang and it was Alison saying that Sheila in housekeeping had found the earrings!!! What a wonderful surprise! Alison kept the earrings safe for me until my meeting ended and I had the delightful opportunity to thank her and Sheila for their kindness and honesty. Kudos to Morristown Inn on their excellent staffing!

The rooms were spotless… Best Western Plus, Morristown, NJ Very comfortable stay at this hotel, Pulling up to the hotel and its well-maintained appearance is always important to me. It says a lot about what is inside and their attention to detail. And it was definitely consistent in this case. The neighborhood behind the hotel was very nice and looked safe as is always a concern for us as we want to make sure there is no problem with the surrounding area for our vehicle. Very safe looking area. The inside of the hotel was immaculate, comfortable lobby, very clean, greeted immediately by the front desk in a courteous and professional manner. Very fast check in, and the dolly for our luggage was right there for use. The rooms were spotless. Very nice decor and all appliances worked perfectly from the TV to the blow dryer. Plenty of towels and courtesy samples in the bathroom. Very little noise from the hallway and none from the adjoining rooms, solid walls and ceiling. The cleaning staff were very polite and did a great job. Nice folks. One of the highlights was breakfast, we arrived a few minutes before the breakfast service was ending and the folks running breakfast assured us we should not rush, take our time and enjoy ourselves. Absolutely no pressure and incredibly helpful. The food was great, fresh, and a wider selection than normal. A great way to start another long day of travel. Check out was as smooth as check in, an extremely pleasant stay at a very nice hotel.

This is one of my favorite places to stay on business trips. I only wish each time it was longer than one night. Very clean and comfortable and quiet and the staff is always so pleasant no matter what time of day or night I'm checking in! This time my key wouldn't work in the first door so George at the front desk just gave me another key to a different room and called me a few minutes later to apologize for to inconvenience and made sure I got in the room ok. This place is great!

The front desk manager, Wilson, left us standing in the rain for 10 minutes before letting us in. He acted like answering my questions about the room was an unbearable burden. I asked for a quiet room - so unreasonable- and then find out the room is across from the ice machine. Then he had the audacity to take me to task for being grouchy!! Unbelievable!!!

For once I have difficulties. Yes the rooms were clean and admittedly very big. Bed was good, no noise and the personnel was very friendly and forthcoming. But when I walked into my room it smelled like Moisture, which was not so charming. Also the room for breakfast does not smell nicely either. The location within walking distance to Morristown is perfect. I guess this time I have a split opinion.

I stayed here on September 7, 2018. The location was perfect for our gig the next day in Jersey City. The desk staff were friendly and courteous, the room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was outstanding! Can I give six stars?

This Best Western hotel demonstrates that an unimpressive exterior can hold delights within, reminding me of the kind of experience I associate with fancy boutique hotels in Europe. Even the portable bed we added to our room (we were three guys traveling cheap) had a thick comfortable mattress and was impeccably made when we walked in. The hotel interior was artful and classic, with apparently recently installed carpeting throughout the hotel. For this price range hotel, the free breakfast was exceptional, offering custom-made omelets, fresh fruit, and waffles. Not sure when I'll be back in this area, but I will definitely plan to stay at this hotel if I am.

It's hard to know where to start. Friendly, yet efficient desk clerk. A large, lovely, and well-appointed room. Fantastic bathroom and shower, soaps and lotions chosen with care. Super clean. Comfortable bed, with lots of pillows. Wonderful lighting. Fast internet service. A restaurant downstairs with delicious Caribbean food and superior service (there's no alcohol served, but you can stop by a store and bring your own bottle - still worth the effort). An incredible breakfast (included), with real oatmeal, bacon, and someone to make you an omelet. An altogether exceptional experience!

As former residents of New Jersey, we had reason to spend a weekend to visit the college where I used to teach. Morristown Best Western was the perfect location to fulfill our plans. There is a lot to do in Morristown and the surrounding area . . . much history, theatre, shopping and fine dining. We never thought to stay here when we lived in the area, but now we are looking forward to our next visit.

Our recent stay at this hotel was A+. Our room was amazingly clean, quiet, and comfortable. Staff were all very friendly, and resolved a TV issue promptly. And the breakfast offering was fresh,great variety, even an omelet station! We will be back.

I had an awesome experience at Best Western Morris town NJ. The staff is great and helpful. The rooms are was very clean and the beds was cozy. They also have an resturant on the site with awesome food. The hot breakfast is delicoul and it comes with a chief cooking your food how you want it. There is fitness center and business center on site. This hotel is affordable too. I shop around for the best rate because in NYC the prices was like 200 and up in city, and you don't get free breakfast or free parking. Best Western is about hour drive to NY that's with traffic. I saved a lot of money. I would recommend this hotel.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights. The facility is wonderful. The room was spacious, clean and in proper working order. The staff was caring, kind and personable (especially Allison at the front desk, she is great!). The omlets at breakfast are extraordinary. The food from Hibiscus Restaurant was also very good. If/when I am back in the Morristown area I would not even consider staying elsewhere.

My husband and I had a very refreshing stay at your hotel. We were so glad that we had booked our stay here. Had a wonderful one-night stay at the Best Western Plus hotel in Morristown, New Jersey on the next to last Wednesday in May. Picked the hotel because it was close to the highway as I was in transit from Boston to Gettysburg and it is somewhat midway. What a lucky choice it was! Alison at the front desk gave us an especially warm welcoming and helpful check-in experience. She is exactly the type of employee you would want to be the face of your hospitality business. Thank you, Miss Alison, for making us instantly feel right at home in your wonderful hotel. . Although Alison highly recommended the restaurant in the hotel for dinner, even showing us the menu, we went into town to walk around before dark and ended up eating there. What a wonderful town Morristown is, so much to see, such a beautiful town green, so pedestrian friendly, so many shops and places to eat, so close to an interstate highway. Come by and see for yourself. . Our room was GREAT, four times larger than our room in Boston and a quarter of the price that others paid for their hotel rooms that previous Tuesday night in the Hub. It was also immaculate, had an over-sized mini-fridge that actually kept stuff cold and refroze our re-freeze-able freezer brick, a great TV, restful decor and more than adequate lighting. I hated to leave in the morning. Beds were comfy and supportable but I could've sleep on the floor I was so tired. Someone had done a wonderful job cleaning the bathroom, I should add. Shower was wonderfully warming and easy to set at the right temp to help revive these ancient bones in the morning. . Late in the evening I met the lunch and dinner manager, Karlene, in her dining room when I went to ask about breakfast. They were just closing out dinner and setting up for breakfast. What a wonderful woman she is; she obviously greatly enjoys her work. She wouldn't let me leave until she'd thoroughly briefed on the wonderful dining experience I had missed by not taking my meal with her earlier that night in the Hisbiscus Restaurant in the hotel. She told me they are famous for their Jamaican Rum-Flavored Bread Pudding. Photos of her dining room and her menu should be accompanying this trip advisory report. In one photo you can almost taste the morsel of the pudding. I promise I will be back, Miss Karlene. It was very nice to meet you. . Met the General Manager, Jim, in the breakfast room Thursday morning, a very engaging fellow, who, like all small businessmen, does it all for his company all the time. Thank you, Jim, for finding room for me in your wonderful hotel on this sold-out night and for the nice hand-writ greeting in my room near the complimentary bottle of water and the four Hershey kisses. It certainly pays to be a member of Best Western's free loyalty program. It was very nice to talk with you. I very much hope to stay at your great hotel again next time I make a trek that's too long to do in one day. . The included-in-the-price-of-the-room buffet breakfast was extensive, high quality, with great variety, nutrish and delish, as I like to say. The service areas and tables were kept clean and neat by the dining room person. Many of us bussed our own tables but at least one slow eater appreciated the help he got. . I will long remember the omelet I had that morning; they will deliver it to your table if you don't hover and watch them make it, calling out instructions like, more cheese, please, and well done, please. . I was pained to leave this very nice place in this very nice town. It would be nice to see you here when I get to come back for another stay as I transit the Northeast Corridor. Rooms were good. Breakfast was very good. Continent and close to other restaurants, and close to interstate. You can walk to nearby places. Lobby was small. Good to go. Bathrooms should have few more towel hanging racks.

This is a very nice hotel. We had a suite, which if we stayed longer would have been wonderful to utilize. The breakfast was awesome and the restaurant staff were wonderful! Highly recommend if you are ever in this area!

We stayed overnight for our daughter's graduation from Seton Hall University. We chose this hotel based on the price since we knew we would be spending a minimal amount of time there with graduation activities taking up most of our time. We were pleasantly surprised upon arrival! The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Our room was very clean as was the entire hotel. Compared to some other hotels we have stayed at in the past, our room was spacious and very comfortable for our family. Do not let the price trick you into thinking the accommodations will be subpar; we definitely thought this hotel gave you great bang for your buck!

We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Plus in Morristown, NJ. The room and hotel common areas are kept very neat and clean, and the free breakfast is much better and more generous than the average hotel. The breakfast area was brightly lit, with tables covered with tablecloths and glass tops, which serves as a small restaurant at other times. There was a wonderful variety of cereal, bagels, muffins, fresh fruit, make your own waffle, and the option of having the breakfast server make you a fresh omelette, made to order. My wife and I both enjoyed the waffles which were very tasty. The server was very polite and I noticed during down times, he was wiping down the glass tables to keep everything looking good. There was a television mounted on the wall playing in the breakfast room playing the news while we were eating. I would have preferred not hearing the news and commercials while eating breakfast, some type of soft music would have been more relaxing. On the basement level, where the breakfast room is located, I noticed there was a small exercise/fitness room with a treadmill and some other equipment which I did not use, and a small laundry room which it looked like was available for guests to use. For this review, I debated about whether to give 4 or 5 stars. If there was an option to give 4.5 stars, I would since there were some minor concerns. The hotel is extremely close to the major highway, Route 287 which on the one hand is very convenient for travelers coming to NJ from out of state; the down side is that at night you can hear the sound of trucks and cars on the highway, since you can actually see the highway out the window of many of the hotel rooms (the ones facing the parking lot.) If there were a way to improve the soundproofing of the walls, that would be a good thing. Though the bathroom in our room seemed pretty small, it was adequate, and was very clean. I noticed there were no towel racks in the bathroom which seemed a little unusual and not as convenient as having them, but it was not a big deal. There was one hook on the back of the door for a towel, and one hook on the wall near the shower. The towels are folded on a shelf under the sink which was perfectly fine. I did not care for the citrus smell of the hand and shower bars of soap; they could find something that smells a little more fragrant/pleasant in my opinion. The hotel staff were generally polite and professional. The front desk receptionist when we arrived on Friday was a bit serious, and not as personable as I would have liked, but the woman who was there on Sunday morning, was very nice. Overall, the Best Western in Morristown is a great choice for a place to stay. It was reasonably priced (I got the best price through Expedia), clean, conveniently located, well run, and the generous breakfast was a big plus.

We needed a hotel to stop for the night. We got to the room and it was very clean and we even had a small kitchenette that was well stocked and I'm pretty sure we could have made a meal or two there if we were on an extended stay. The hotel was quiet and the staff was very helpful.

Love this place! Super comfortable beds. Super clean and well decorated rooms. The entire hotel feels very classy and classic. And it really captures the history of the surrounding area and its role in the Revolution. I don't think Washington slept here but it feels like he would have. Nice lobby with free papers each day, plenty of parking and it's only a mile or so from downtown Morristown which is full of great bars and restaurants. Cool area and a great hotel to call home while visiting.

The Best Western in Morristown, NJ is a top-tier hotel! I've stayed here a number of times, and always have had a wonderful stay whenever I'm here. The staff is always really polite and helpful. The rooms are always very clean and organized, and are equipped with the most comfortable beds. The bathrooms are always well-stocked and clean. For dining, the restaurant in the hotel has really good food, and there are plenty of other good places to eat in the downtown area near the hotel as well. Satisfactory all around! We've been staying here almost every year at Passover for a decade. The staff is always friendly and one of the breakfast servers remembers is every year. The breakfast is really nice - ferry will cook you an egg or an omelet in front of you. The rooms are in nicely done.

My wife and I spend a night their earlier this month, and found everything to be well-kept, and the room very comfortable. The beds were perfect, and everything was very clean. The restaurant food in the basement was very high quality, but sadly they had few guests at the weekday dinner hour, even though busy on Friday & Saturdays. They have no liquor license, no beer or wine, however.

Best Western is simply the best! Had a great experience. Bathrooms were very clean, and the room was as fresh as can be! Everyone was super nice, and very accommodating. They had fresh coffee waiting in the lobby, which was great! Also had a great night's sleep, since the beds were ultra comfortable. Would recommend to anyone staying in Morristown!

Nice products. Good supply of towels. Breakfast buffet was included, limited selection with make to order eggs and waffles. Self service coffee. Would definitely return when in the area. Easy parking and good location.

The staff at The Best Western Plus in Morristown is far superior to any staff that I've worked with in the past. From the moment I reached out to begin planning our training event, Donna and her team were professional and wonderful to work with. The venue is in a safe, convenient location with free parking, free WiFi and a reliable shuttle. Food and conveniences are just steps away and the Morristown Green is a short walk down South Street. The food in their on site restaurant, Hibiscus is terrific. The chef accommodates food allergies, sensitivities and the palate of the most discerning guest. The recently renovated rooms are comfortable and safe.

Read the reviews and decided to stay here. The reviews are true. The hotel is conveniently located to downtown, very clean, well decorated and cared for. The staff was both personal and very professional. Jim at the desk provided great references for close, local restaurants for dinner. The price is right as well and I will definitely come here again.

Stayed with a friend for 3 nights. Hibiscus Restaurant (Jamaican/American) was in the basement of our hotel and we ate there twice. Delicious food, wonderful service. Breakfast was also served in the Hibiscus Restaurant. You had your standard selection of foods plus omelets made right in front of you. Rooms were quaint but comfortable. Internet was very good. Less than 1 mile to train station and parking. Easy on/off exit of Rt. 287. Desk staff very nice and free cookies & coffee in lobby. Definitely will stay again.

This is our second stay at this property as we travel back and forth between Maryland and Maine. Very nice location with easy access. Restaurant in basement is small but great food. Live music was about to start when we left - too bad we need to sleep before leaving early the next morning!

The hotel was clean and a short drive to great restaurants and bars. Also close to the train station which we used to go into NY City. The breakfast which was included was very good, with plenty of options. The staff was very nice and attentive, especially the front desk. We will be back!!

This is the second time we have stayed here while visiting family in the area. The first time we got the hotel on Hotwire, and were we LUCKY!!! The hotel is right on the edge of downtown Morristown which has a grocery store, pharmacy and tons of little shops and stores nearby. The best bakery is about 3-4 blocks away and they have great pastries. There are all sorts of choices of restaurants within walking distance. The hotel itself is wonderful. There is free parking. The staff is great! We checked in a bit early with absolutely no problem. With this front desk staff, there are no problems! There is always a solution to any question or query! The rooms are exceptionally clean and inviting. We had a stove and refrigerator, not that I did any cooking! We would not consider staying anywhere else while in this part of NJ. Close to the Washington Winter Headquarters Museum and Ford Mansion. Great hotel!

This hotel was close to town and shopping, and restaurants and was within a short distance of places we wanted to visit. It was clean and quiet and the staff was very welcoming. I would love to stay here again on my next visit.

As you enter the hotel, you will be reminded of a cold winter evening by the fire place with coffee and coffee by each hour. Staff is really polite. If you request for a change in Room ( I didn't wanted an upper deck room) they ll be happy to change it. Their rooms are tiny but well equipped. Even have a micro wave in case you order food from outside. Breakfast spread is just Sufficient to get your day started and overall ambience made it a cosy stay for me.

Enjoyed our brief stay. Nice that they have a hot complimentary breakfast. The entire staff was friendly and helpful despite our difficult two year old who disturbed other guests. I would definitely stay at this Best Western again.

For starters, this hotel offered a bit more free perks in the lobby than most, including an actual coffee bar with refreshments. The rooms were clean, spacious, and tastefully appointed while the beds were incredibly comfortable. The location was convenient and within walking distance to the downtown area, which featured a plethora of great bars, eateries, and restaurants with great reviews. We had difficulty just choosing a place for dinner, but whichever place you go, you're not going to be disappointed. If you don't feel like leaving the hotel, there's a great Caribbean-style bar and grille in the downstairs area, which was a nice surprise and a welcome change from the usual continental-style restaurants most hotels have. Overall, it was a great experience and a comfortable, quiet stay.

I use Trip Advisor to find hotels these days. We were looking for a hotel outside of NYC and close to highway. We would highly recommend this hotel. Hotel and rooms were so clean. Hibiscus Restaurant was very good. Breakfast was included and was very good.

This is an excellent hotel. Nicely decorated in a colonial theme, friendly & professional staff and reasonable priced AND their FREE breakfast consisted of many wonderful choices as well as an omelet station. The hotel is located on South St, close to the town square and the many fine restaurants in Morristown. We choose to stay here when we are in town for a concert/show at the MPAC.

Best Western continues to meet and sometimes even exceed our expectations for clean rooms, efficient , courteous and friendly staff. This particular site did exceed our expectations with a quality restaurant on site. After driving many hours that day on our way home from a cross country journey that included national parks and family visits, the last thing we wanted to do was to go back out in the cold and look for a restaurant. The Hibiscus restaurant provided both quality food and courteous helpful staff. Then, to top everything off, they offered a live omelette station for breakfast. This was our final stop before heading home after a seven week cross country run touring the national parks and visiting family. Thank you for such a nice end to our trip.

Love this place! Staff has been exceptional. Location is perfect, especially if you will be downtown or spending time at the Wellness Center. Trip Advisor requires 200 or more words. Stayed here as a birthday treat to myself after much TripAdvisor research! Found the location safe, within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, local sites, the train into NYC (30 minute ride), plus quiet and peaceful. Public transit is nearby, if needed. Parking lot located at rear of the inn seemed a bit limited in capacity. Loved the tasteful, traditional decor throughout. Reminded me of a New England inn. Morristown does, too. Maps of the town are in the lobby. Would have been a convenient touch to insert one in the guest book though. No facility map on my door or in the guest notebook so I took a rambling tour. Business center occupies a corner of the lobby. Workout room is tiny with minimal equipment but at least they have one. There is one washing machine available, probably for emergency need. The breakfast room is also the hotel restaurant (Hibiscus) which explains the piano and cloth covered tables at breakfast. Instead of the usual variety and self-serve style of your average "breakfast included" lodging, the inn continues the traditional ambiance by having service staff there to cook your order fresh. They assist you in any way possible. Had I known this, I would have brought some money for the tip container. So, I kept my meal minuscule but it was tasty. There was a group retreat in the event rooms, also located in the basement. Until they came into the breakfast room, I didn't even know they were in the building. As I said...nice and quiet place! Loved my room. It looked just like the management photos. The entire facility did. Refrigerator and microwave were spotless as was the room. Bed was very comfortable with plenty of nice pillows! Except for premium channels, there was ample selection and great reception on the television. Plenty of lighting. Clean bathroom with great water pressure and nice towels. Closet includes a small safe. The staff was professional in appearance, approach, and service. This was my second BWPlus experience; first visit here. Will definitely return again. Would not recommend for a family with young children or exuberant young couples.

This hotel was fantastic in most areas but would not recommend eating at the restaurant in the evening. It took over and hour and a half for us to be served (after we placed our order)!! Service in the restaurant was VERY slow. Otherwise the hotel was perfect. Comfortable, spacious rooms, great breakfast and close to the train station.

This was a great hotel with a very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was really good with many choices. Good location for visiting Thomas Edison National Park. Many good restaurants very close by.

We stayed here on a recent trip to visit family and really enjoyed it. The staff was very friendly and the room was comfortable. It's very conveniently located. We had a delicious dinner in their Hibiscus Restaurant downstairs but the most pleasant surprise was the made-to-order breakfast that was included with the room. We would definitely stay here again!

The hotel was clean, quiet, and we loved the breakfast. All the staff were friendly. The price for the room was very reasonable. We were here for a family gathering and used a private meeting room and brought in pizza, salad and dessert and the hotel was very accommodating.

Last night I stayed at Best Western Plus Morristown Inn! The decor was so comfy and home like that I immediately felt at home. I very much appreciated the breakfast that was included in my room! I had a veggie omelette that was cooked to perfection! So fluffy and light! I also has bowl of fruit. The staff was so helpful and courteous. They showed me the gym and the restaurant called Hibiscus! I will gladly be back whenever I'm in town again!

The room was nice but the toilet did not function properly and the staff could not locate one nor did the on-call manager know where one was and/or did not care to get one. After over two hours of waiting and checking with the staff they decided to let us sleep in another room with functioning facilities on another floor. It was by now near 10:00 PM.

We have stayed here 6 or more nights a year for more than 20 years. The rooms are nicely decorated, WiFi works great, and most importantly, the staff is courteous and attentive. Any problems are quickly addressed. Breakfast is excellent and freshly cooked. Rooms have a microwave and a refrigerator.. All in all a great place.

We stayed here on a "Frequent Sleeper" Reward, so I can't speak to the value for the money, but we had a very friendly and helpful reception and found the Inn very comfortable. Sunday morning's breakfast was excellent and the staff very attentive. Like many places in NJ cities, it's tucked into an odd corner right by the freeway and in this case near a hospital to boot, but we found it very quiet, the room quite clean and comfortable and spacious for the price. I do wish hotels would reintroduce the concept of towel racks in the bathroom; it's kind of ok when there's plenty of counter space to lay hand towels down on, not so ok when there is so little counter space as in this bathroom. There are plenty of blank walls where racks could be put up. I ended up hanging mine on the superfluous make-up mirror. And we found the toilet extremely hard to flush. The lever just wouldn't go down until you leaned on it with all the might your hand could muster. The hotel is very convenient to I-287 and access both on and off the freeway was quite easy.

We stayed at the hotel for a cycling event. On arrival we received a very friendly welcome, with advice specifically about how we should deal with breakfast and check out given our early time of departure the next day. Although a little dated, the interior is well maintained and clean. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

Staff was extremely helpful in all aspects of our stay. Room was plush and very pleasant. Room was well furnished and glad to see a fresh remote for TV. The only exception was the spottiness of the Wi-fi that seemed to go in and out.

For four years we have stayed @ the Morristown Best Western the night before the Grand Fondo NJ. Each time, the accommodations are perfect for what we are looking for - convenience, great staff, very fine restaurant located in the hotel. And, we will be returning next year.

The accommodations generally met my expectations. The complimentary breakfast exceeded my expectations. The different hot and cold options available, the quality of the food, and the restaurant-like setting were exceptional. The only reason this hotel does not get a higher rating from me is because hotel management needs to clean the ice maker on the 2nd floor. There were greenish-black flakes in the ice, so I couldn't use it. The hotel should make sure to check and clean all of its ice makers, and replace any that cannot be properly cleaned.

We'd chosen this hotel solely for location, a stopover on a long car trip. But it soon became one of the best memories of the journey. It's in an older building and has old-fashioned decor, but everything is sparklingly new and clean. The personnel were uniformly cheerful and welcoming. The biggest plus is the restaurant: delicious Jamaican food made from fresh ingredients. (It is BYOB, however, so be prepared.) The night we were there, a live trio provided music, and it was absolutely charming. Loved our stay.

No complaints from us. The staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean, quiet. Hotel wasn't too far a walk for us to get into town for a bite to eat and enjoy a stroll. Breakfast was amazing, cooked omelette to order, waffles, bacon/sausage, fresh fruit...who could ask for much more? When I booked and found breakfast included, I thought we'd be having muffins and coffee. For those interested or too tired to venture out, there is the onsite restaurant, Hibiscus--although we didn't dine there, were are told it's very good. We were very pleased.

We were pleasantly surprised and made extremely comfortable by the staff of this Best Western. After reading other positive reviews, we gave it a try. We were in the area for a family occasion and couldn't have been anymore pleased with the hotel, the room or the services they extended to their guests.

Best Western was recommended to us by Westin, whose rates were exorbitant. Parking and entry were easily facilitated and for the first time in my life, I had a room closest to the front desk. The Hibiscus dining room had an excellent breakfast and a good dinner, with the only problem a lack of wine unless you bring your own.

this hotel is not modern and that is what I loved and you don't need a car to get in some history and great eats and not far from New York City. Also a station not to far to catch a ride to other places. walk down to see ole Hamilton, Washington, and Lafayette

We only stayed one night. When we arrived, Sean was courteous, professional and had a sense of humor. He gave us suggestions for a local tavern. I highly recommend the Stirling Tavern which is only a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel and room were clean. The included breakfast was outstanding. They not only had the typical hotel breakfast, but also made to order omelettes. Morristown is also a very nice town. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is older than most other members of a chain, but it is not at all shabby. We had no trouble with parking and entering the small lobby. There is a ramp for luggage carts and wheelchairs. At check-in I expressed a concern about our room facing South St, but the clerk assured me that there was not much traffic. I would say that there was more traffic than he led me to believe, but it turned out to not be big deal as far as our sleep was concerned. The beds were very firm, which is to our liking. If someone prefers a soft mattress than you might consider a different hotel. There were a few features characteristic of a Best Western Plus, namely a relatively large room and made-to-order omelettes at the complementary breakfast. The two employees at breakfast were very attentive, and an unusual feature was real china plates and metal tableware, which we much prefer to paper and plastic. The fitness center has four cardio machines and a small multi-purpose lifting machine. These were fine for our one-night stay, but if we wanted to stay longer I would look for a hotel with more choices. The room rate was higher than we usually pay, but I would attribute that largely to the location in an upscale community.

This is a hotel more like a second rate motel. Rooms need an overhaul. Breakfast was free but mediocre at best. TV small Chanel's limited. Good WI FI. Location was close to The Morristown Green, which had some nice restaurants. Warning their restaurant has no liquor, but was told at check in you could order from a local liquor/wine store. Refrigerator in room is a plus. Nice Kings down the road where I purchased a wonderful fruit platter and nice cheese and crackers.

Traveled here from Toronto the day before heading for a cruise. Great stop over with lots of places to eat about 1km away. Hotel was clean and had a well stocked breakfast. I'd stay again. Hotel had a gym that was under construction. Price was kind of high for the place it was but I guess the price includes the fact there aren't too many choices.

Great experience. This facility is exceptionally warm and inviting and the staff is kind, helpful and friendly. The decor was beautiful, including the room, the lobby and the dinning room. From now on, our motel of choice will be best western!

When I booked the trip I didn't know what to think. In my opinion, the Best Western hasn't been known to be nice. However, when I arrived in town on the train, someone guided me to the hotel by phone and was very patient with me. After arriving, I was great with a smile and a, "I'm glad you are here." Once I checked into my room, it exceeded my expectations. The room was nice, clean and smelled extra fresh. The staff then directed me to dining places that were in walking distance. The hotel and staff were great, I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Let's face it, usually a hotel is somewhere to sleep for the night and little else. The hotel was very satisfactory, but the selling point of this location is their breakfast! It is freshly prepared by courteous, friendly people and it is delicious! Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day and this breakfast is one of my all time favorites!

Family from all over the US. I would highly recommend this Best Western. The quality all around was great. One of the best that I have stayed in Location was great to walk to town. Close to main roads. They even had a restaurant and entertainment.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It's close to many restaurants but the parking is difficult. Take a cab or walk down south street. Breakfast was typical fare and lobby had coffee well into the evening,cookies too.

while checking in I was provided with a small wine sampling and hors d'oeuvre from the restaurant. It was perfect timing since I had been traveling all day. The room and bathroom can use a bit of updating, as the hotel really needs to be remodeled. The bed was comfortable and the room provided variety of television stations.The breakfast was excellent offering a made-to-order omelet.

We stayed at the BW Plus. hotel. The room was very nice and had a pull curtain that provided privacy when I woke early and my husband could continue to sleep. This was a nice touch. There was a restaurant which had Carribean menu. The food was wonderful and unique. While we ate, a jazz group played which added to our enjoyment. I would definitely stay again.

We needed to make an overnight stop to and from our destination. Thanks to Tripadvisor, we chose this hotel. We arrived early and had no problem checking in. We even got the room we reserved. The room was plenty large, well equipped, comfortable and clean. We had a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Nothing was shabby or run down. I'm a stickler for details. I'm happy to say that even the corners were clean. The firm king was amazing as were the pillows and linens. It was very quiet while we were there. We were able to get the rest we needed. The bathroom was super clean and with nice soaps. The property has a nice upscale colonial town home look to it. It was very easy to find being right off the interstate. But, it doesn't have that off-the-interstate feel. It seemed to be in downtown or old downtown. We sent for room service from the downstairs restaurant which was ok, not great. Sadly, we weren't able to take advantage of the breakfast as we had a schedule to keep. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again and heartily recommend it.

I'd stay at this hotel again in a heart beat. The staff was all incredibly hospitable and accommodating. The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. The televisions and Wi-Fi were good. And the breakfast was really good.

This was our first visit to the Best Western Plus in Morristown and we were very happy with our stay. We are frequent guests at the Governor Morris Westin but lately have been unhappy with the service for the high price so we decided to try the Best Western. Front desk staff, Sean, was very polite, helpful and caring. Rooms are very clean but somewhat dated. Bed was very comfortable, we have "bad backs" so we appreciated the comfort. Some extra noise whenever a door was closed in the hallways.The room had a very slight stale smell, probably just needed airing out, it wasn't much of a bother. I'm sure if we mentioned it they would have happily changed our room. Enjoyed the breakfast in the morning, lots to choose from and delicious eggs made any way by a very friendly cook! Give the hotel a try, you'll be glad you did!

This was our second visit to this hotel. Both times we stayed three nights. This is not what you would call a "boutique hotel" it is rather dated for young trendies but for us slightly more mature people it's great. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I'd had a parcel delivered for me before arriving and there it was safe and secure. The hotel has three floors and we were at the rear of the hotel this time. Our room was fine, noise wise, but our friends room at the end of the corridor at the back was very noisy due to being next to the freeway. But after complaining he was soon moved to a quieter room with no hassle. The rooms are very big and well appointed (albeit with large dark furniture) having a coffee machine, microwave and fridge, A/C. The bathroom was clean and had a shower over the bath. Loads of hot water and strong water pressure. Huge comfy bed. Housekeeping every day was good, plenty of towels, soap etc. I also like that this hotel has a small laundry room for guests with a large washer and dryer. You need 4 quarters for each and 4 quarters for the machine to get washing powder and tumble dryer scented sheets out of. You don't have to stay with the machine but I found sitting in the arm chair there reading and catching up on emails quite relaxing. A bit of quiet me time away from family! About 3 o'clock in the aft freshly made biscuits are brought out in the reception area for guests to help themselves to along with the jugs of coffee that are always there. Plenty of parking at the rear. Breakfast is served downstairs in the restaurant. This is my only downer of the place. The carpet looks dark and dirty, in fact the whole room could do with a facelift. Breakfast is ok. Plenty of choice but not fabulous looking. Staff wait behind the service table to cook you omlettes or waffles if you want them. Our breakfast was included in the price so we made the most of it but otherwise a 5-10 min stroll up the road there is a fab supermarket with loads of take out options of salad, hot meals, pastries etc All in all well worth staying at. We will be back on our next visit to morristown.

Very pleasant and helpful staff. We stay there for extended periods a couple of times a year to visit family. Conveniently located within walking distance of downtown and the train station. Every employee goes above and beyond to make sure our visits are pleasant and worry-free. We love our time in Morristown and at Best Western Plus Morristown Inn.

This is really great place to stay--very pleasant rooms, friendly staff, and a very nice restaurant. The breakfast was beautifully prepared to order by an experienced chef! The location is perfect with regard to access to the historic district. Hope to return soon.

I had a wonderful stay here at the Best Western plus Morristown Inn! The hotel was very easy to find and featured plenty of parking. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with my stay. They were very polite and very friendly. They helped me find good places to eat nearby, and even helped point me to a good mechanic- as I was having car trouble in the morning. The main lobby was very cool- featured a giant picture of George Washington (I'm a history nerd), and several pictures of the Continental Convention and Declaration of Independence signing. The lobby was very cozy- as there was a giant fire place, and comfortable chairs. The room was absolute fantastic- my biggest pet peeve with hotels is slow internet. No complaints, here! The hotel internet was lightning fast, and was able to stream my netflix with no problems at all. The bed was very comfortable- and the bathroom was clean and spacious. I would definitely recommend anyone coming through Morristown to stay at this hotel! Top notch all the way around!

My husband and I stayed here a couple of years ago as a jumping-off spot to visit family. We liked it so much that we came back again last month. It's a friendly place. The service was great and the person at the front desk was very helpful, as was the manager. The decor is traditional but not stuffy, the beds super-comfortable, and the parking was free and convenient. My husband's favorite meal is breakfast, so he (and I) really enjoyed the full/hot breakfast including freshly-made omelets. To top it off, Morristown itself is nice -- and you can reach Manhattan in an hour by train. I hope to keep coming back in the future.

We enjoyed staying here. There is a nice historical feel to the hotel. Parking is easy at the back of the property. Our room was very comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful breakfast in the restaurant downstairs with an omelette chef to make them to order. As well as other breakfast choices. We also enjoyed having dinner in the restaurant.

First time at this hotel. Usually don't stay at Best Westerns and was pleasantly surprised. It was a quaint little hotel very close to the Morristown business district where we walked to dinner as well as Morristown Medical Center. We stayed in a room on the 2nd floor near the main street. There was traffic, but we hardly noticed it. I guess if you were a light sleeper, it may be a distractor. We are Hilton Honors members and were greeted with water and fresh cookies! The room and bed was comfortable and even had a small kitchenette. Overall, we had a great experience and would come back again!!

We were so much looking forward to re-visiting this place for a year. Yup. One whole year. Actually planned our trip home around Morristown to come back here. ( From Fl) Truth! The only bright side of this establishment was Allison. She was meant for this job and she was perfect. Our first room was in a spot (115) that was less than pleasing. Utility room and towel room next door. If someone needed something they would come into the utility room and fix the problem. Course we could hear them. Thin walls We could also count the cars as we were street level and hear the sound. Only issue is light sleepers share a wall. Allison went above and beyond to help relocate us to another quieter on the second floor. She didn't miss a beat. Never made us feel as we were asking too much. Wanted us to be be happy. Unusual in this day and age. We were not offered any water(were some type of card points system), nor were there any fresh baked cookies. You look fwd to this stuff. So we got booked to a different room which was much better and quiet. Room has a bit noisy A/C that never meets expectations or temperature. Sun breakfast is at 7:30. People are long gone by that time. Save a buck?? Holiday Inn down south serves at 6AM. Don't think we will be back. WHAT HAPPENED IN THE COURSE OF One YEAR Thanks

It was a very good place, the breakfast is very good and so the restaurant for dinner. The staff is also perfect as well as the room and the hôtel in general. If I ever go back in that region, I will return to that hotel.

Great location in downtown Morristown convenient to restaurants and entertainment. Comfortable room with tons of pillows to choose from for your comfort and at a reasonable price for Morristown. The staff is always friendly and courteous and there is complimentary breakfast. Sometimes they have wine tasting when you check in which is an added bonus after a long day of business or pleasure.

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. I do recommend it and I think it's a good choice. The room was very nice and comfortable. The location is good. The breakfast was outstanding and the woman who was the overseeing the breakfast and cooking waffles and (I think) eggs was warm and sweet and very engaging. The gentleman who took my reservation on the phone was friendly. However, once I was there, I found the women at the front desk to be unwelcoming and off-putting. They were sullen, disinterested, made no effort to be at all friendly and seemed bored and annoyed with everything. No smiles, no 'have a nice stay', no nothing. Here's your room key. Even a little personality would have made my stay here a better experience.

This is a great hotel! They serve omelettes for breakfast and they always have coffee in the lobby. The staff is really friendly. The rooms are nice with comfortable beds. They also have a refrigerator and microwave. The shower has great water Temperature.

This hotel is wonderful on all fronts. Great location within waking distance to tons of downtown restaurants and cafes. The rooms are huge with plenty of space. We had extra guests in our room and arrived late and the front desk was kind enough to offer us a roll away bed. Even with the extra roll away there was still plenty of space in the room. The staff is so warm and friendly, each person I passed from the front desk to the cleaning staff would say hello and smile, making sure we had everything we needed. There is also a complimentary breakfast buffet in their on site restaurant which is by far the best hotel breakfast I've ever had. This hotel is great, definitely stay here if you're looking for something in the area!

The only thing I didn't like about my stay was that it was for 18 hours... I was pleasantly surprised how beautiful the building was, classic old mansion converted into a hotel. Great rooms, ample parking AND the surrounding area is gorgeous with tons of amenities. The FREE breakfast was really great, especially the servers there, they were so friendly and so accommodating! Will return!

We arrived for our stay early and the gentleman at the front desk had a room available and let us check in which gets two thumbs up in my book. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable, and included a mini fridge and microwave! Not only will be be back but we've already booked 2 nights. There was two much to see in one day!

My gf and I just spent my birthday here. Very nice, clean, great staff and wine for sale! Close to the highway, (but not too close). The free breakfast was AWESOME. Even had an omelet cook! Definitely recommend this hotel!

The Best Western Plus Morristown was quite a nice and cozy stay. Room was welcoming and the temperature was appropriate to outside. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was hot and available until 10:30 which is late compared to most hotels. Lobby was cozy and clean. 5 stars would stay again

We stayed here while performing in Dunellen and we loved it! The staff was friendly and accommodating, the rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. Lightning fast wifi, and there was a great breakfast in the morning. We will stay here again!

I stayed there for a week and the stay was decent. Check in and check out was smooth. Room was pretty OK. One or two lights in the room did not work...did not bother me much. Breakfast was OK - freshly made omelets and waffles were available. The room I was given for a twin room - hence i could hear conversation of guys in other room.Hotel helped me book the taxi and the guy was great, reliable. Overall a decent and comfortable stay.

This is a standard issue hotel surrounded by a busy highway out back and a busy road out front. What sets the hotel apart is the staff. Everyone from the front desk attendant to the housekeeping supervisor, and the housekeeper were exceptionally helpful. Free parking is a plus as well. The rooms could use some updating, but they were exceptionally clean.

Clean, nice staff, perfect location for my conference at the Peck School, just down the road from the "downtown" area. Close to the train station to get into NYC. Very easy ride on NJ transit into the city. Also close to Newark International Airport.

We wanted to stay in Morristown and the Best Western Plus was the perfect hotel. We made reservations at the last minute and we were accommodated and with a discount rate! We stayed in Suite with a full kitchen (stove, fridge, microwave, sink). It's a little dated. The bed was super comfortable. Great wifi reception. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I had a headache and I was given some ibuprofen and a bottle of water. We went to the Hibiscus Restaurant (not part of the Hotel) that offers lunch and dinner. The dinner was mediocre because the food was not fresh; the scallops smelled and the ox tails were partially dry with just some gravy poured over it. We didn't finish our meals. However, the Hotel breakfast was delicious offering made to order omelets and waffles! The waitstaff were extremely friendly. We will visit here again.

The entire hotel experience was excellent . Chose this hotel on its location to the Mayo Performing Arts Center , within walking distance . All staff were excellent . The room was clean and large with a large bath as well And the made to order breakfast was the bomb ! Its very quite maybe cause there is no bar in the hotel

A lovely inn with warm and inviting facilities and staff. Restaurant was excellent and breakfast the next morning was to die for! It was close to in-town activities and just far enough away to bring the activity level near by to be less than completely in town.

I was visiting our local office for a few days and my team and I stayed here. The hotel is clean and the room spacious. I particularly liked the fact that the beds are comfortable (which is the only really important thing on a business trip). Considering the hotel does not have a liquor license, they should sell better wines in the lobby. Pretty horrendous. I didn't try the breakfast but my colleagues raved about the omelette station. There is a coffee station in the lobby, which is useful as you head out the door. You are within walking distance of downtown from this hotel. If you REALLY hate walking, it might be a bit much, but it's not far to the nearest shops, restaurants and bars.

I'm a traveling entertainer (tired and grumpy) and it's so nice being welcomed by courteous and professional staff upon arrival. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the property is quiet and relaxing but is still close enough to the big city (20 minutes). Here's the big plus...the complimentary breakfast features home made breakfast food...and not the weird gelatinous scrambled eggs used at other hotels. AND, they have an Omelette station. During lunch and dinner, the restaurant is Caribbean restaurant. Very nice surprise. Highly recommend staying here!

Recently attended a wedding in Morristown and stayed here. Great location within walking distance to center of Morristown for shopping and restaurants. Very nice/clean room. Great breakfast and very friendly staff. Close to Rt 287 but room was very quiet.

This may be an older hotel but it's charming n nicely kept up. The staff is friendly. The included breakfast is great. Made to order omelets, waffles, bacon etc. great night sleep n it's only a short walk to many restaurants.

For the same price as we paid for an awful room at a similar chain in Niantic Connecticut, a lovely stay with all the amenities, great beds, charming staff and an over-the-top breakfast. The white-jacketed servers in the restaurant were kind and attentive. We will definitely stay here again.

Stayed here on our way to Boston from Tennessee. Rooms are great but the normal for Best Western Plus, but the breakfast is something else. It comes complimentary with the room. I expected the usual but got Great. It's like a breakfast buffet that you might pay a nice penny for with eggs, omeletts and waffles made to order. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, oatmeal with all the toppings, bagels and much much more. The chef stands by the table and greats you and gets you what you want. He was very personable and looked so proud of the food. The wonderful lady that made the eggs and omelettes was also very nice and sweet. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to all who are traveling for its comfort and great Breakfast.

One of the cleanest and quietest hotels I've ever been in. Very quaint too; I felt more like I was in someone's well appointed house rather than a hotel. The staff was courteous and kind. The restaurant was closed in the afternoon and the woman at the desk gave me great directions to an awesome deli around the corner. Plus there were cookies and coffee at all hours in the lobby. Very nice!

Nice hotel, clean, quiet. Had our door locked and bolted. Thank Goodness since someone from Best Western tried to enter our room during the night! When we called downstairs we were given some stupid story about the front desk not knowing the room was booked so they thought the do not disturb sign on the doorknob was a mistake. No apology, nothing said to us the next day when we checked out. Ruined our stay! Breakfast was delicious and quite a huge selection to choose from. Bring money to tip though since there are about 4 different servers down there. Would I stay there again, I'd have to think twice. Didn't like the gentleman trying to access our room!

Don't judge a book by it's cover. Plain exterior/surprisingly nice accommodations. Rooms were very clean, quiet and comfortable. Would definitely go back to stay there. The breakfast was great, fresh made omelets!

I loved how close the hotel was from the train. It was literally a short Uber ride away, so that was a bonus! We drove up to the see the amazing architectural building that was to be our hotel for the next two days and knew immediately that we were in store for a wonderful stay. Our check-in was seamless and the young lady at the counter checked us in quickly. We walked in to our room and were completely impressed with the cleanliness of the room and all the amenities it offered. We lacked nothing during our stay. The complimentary breakfast was served by the staff and made us feel like we were dining out at a fancy restaurant. The location of the hotel was walking distance of the town and all it's shops and restaurants. We loved that we didn't have to take a taxi or Uber to get to experience the beautiful people and shops of the town. The hotel staff was extremely nice and provided an answer to all of our questions. They truly made us feel at home! I'm sure there are plenty of hotel choices to stay at when you're in Morristown, but do yourself a favor and book a room at this place! You won't be disappointed!

The hotel is very convenient to our event in Morristown, NJ - The Gran Fondo, NJ. The accommodations were absolutely fine, low key, easy, comfortable, quiet. The restaurant on location is excellent both in service and quality of dishes. A Caribbean flair - very good. And, as a bonus, we've enjoyed live music during our dinners there. A definite plus.

All of the staff, from the front desk to the cleaning crew, were friendly, helpful and greeted you with a smile. Our room, a king suite, was spotless. The kitchenette provided everything we needed for meal preparation. Groceries were a short walk away. If that wasn't enough, the free breakfast was outstanding.Omelettes made to order,with fresh eggs, waffles, fresh fruit, bacon, sausage, home fries and more. It is served in the dining room of the restaurant, complete with baby grand piano. We were in Morristown for a festival and were given a special rate. In a word, impressive.

The staff is always very friendly and the rooms clean and comfy. The breakfast is GREAT and is served in a comfy restaurant. If you are getting off I287 you might miss it since it does not stand out quickly to the driving eyes so b eon the lookout. It is a quick off and on to the interstate. I have stayed here before and is my choice when I am in the area.

Very family feel! The room was comfy, the exercise room was just enough. The laundry was convenient. The parking was free. The beds are sleep inducing comfortable(love the bed). The free brkfst is welcoming and inviting. The West Indian restaurant in the hotel is the best in Morristown.

Just off 287, close to business clients like Verizon. Yet close enough to walk downtown. Clean, pleasant, value-priced, on-site restaurant. Nice downtown, and plenty of neat parks nearby. I'll come back.

The Best Western website says that Best Western is super pet friendly, and all the search engines say this hotel is Pet friendly, but it is not! Looked like a very nice place, but we never got to see more than the lobby! They even had complimentary wine at check-in!

The staff are professional, friendly and made our stay very pleasant. We needed to stay an additional day and let the staff know upon arrival. The front desk clerk checked and didn't see any vacancies for the date we needed, however spoke with her manager and they were able to make arrangements for us to stay, told us not to worry that they would work it out. Rooms are comfortable and very clean. Make sure you let the cleaning staff know (per a door hanger) if you expect room cleaned while you are out. The breakfast buffet is worth the room price every day! Made to order omelets, eggs, waffles, bacon, potatoes, real food and an actual restaurant atmosphere every morning. Loved it. Its an older hotel, so expect smaller rooms that have been updated with great cooling system ( it was quiet and didn't keep you awake at night and easy to adjust for comfort,) granite countertops in bathroom. Lobby is small and no tv, no real place to gather for socializing. Good for sitting quietly or small group visiting.

Found on TripAdvisor when looking for a safe, quiet overnight stop. Everything was clean, the staff was friendly and the included breakfast was great. The staff at breakfast were especially nice. It was also easy to find and close to the interstate.

In the last month we have had three stays at this hotel conveniently located around the corner from Morristown Medical Center. This hotel has superior, helpful staff, clean well appointed rooms, the best complimentary breakfast ever and the hibiscus restaurant run by separate management enabled us to come back to the hotel nightly and have a lovely BYO dinner without having to drive any where after long and stressful days. I highly recommend this hotel for travelers and for people coming in to Morristown for treatment at this excellent hospital in morristown. We travel from upper NEPA for the excellent care we receive at the cancer center there. There is a clean laundry room on the bottom floor, which came in handy for me when we had to make an unexpected trip last week! Thanks again Best Western staff!

Very convenient location, as we staying just one night while heading somewhere else the next day. The property has more character than the standard Best Western. The quality of the bath towels was higher than I usually experience. The breakfast buffet was also very nice, and it was not just self-service; a very nice woman was ready to fix eggs for us, which we declined, but then she made sure we could find everything we did want.

The rooms are very nicely furnished. The staff is friendly and courteous. The breakfast is delicious and FREE! It is easily accessible from 287 and is a good value for the area. I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions and will be staying here again in the future.

The management and staff were extremely helpful and professional. The Best Western brand has improved its image in the last few years . Needless to say we were very impressed with this property. Just a very nice experience all around.

This felt very classic, like an inn. Definitely stands out and has a bit of a homey vibe. Rooms were clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. In the morning they had an omelette station, which is a step above a lot of hotels in this range. While I only stayed one night, this is the type of hotel youd want to spend a week at.

We needed 2 hotel rooms in Morristown on short notice could not have been happier with our stay at the Best Western Plus. Very helpful staff at check-in, clean, comfortable, spacious rooms and a great breakfast. A great value compared to other hotels in the area that I would HIGHLY recommend!

We love this particular Best Western Hotel in Morristown. The rooms are spacious, the staff very courteous & professional. Plus it has the best breakfast around - hands down! They make individual omelettes or eggs to order. The fruit is fresh and the coffee is excellent.

We stayed here for 5 nights and it was wonderful. They gave us a comfortable twin bed so we could all stay in one room. With no extra charge. The room was very large, had great pillows and beds, plenty of outlets, good WiFi, nice toiletries, good curtains to block out the light, quiet room and area, friendly staff. The thing that set this place apart from others was the breakfast. Not only was it a top notch offering of everything you could want, you were treated royally and served by the staff. Real scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, made to order omelets, pastries, fruits, cereal, yogurt etc. Even the breakfast room was extremely nice. A+ and thank you to those working in the breakfast room. The only negative thing i could say is that weekend breakfast didn't start until 7:30 and during the week it started earlier and ended earlier.It would have suited our schedule better if that was reversed. Thank you, Best Western in Motown! Highly recommend this place.

We were pleasantly surprised when we got here for a weekend away for our friends wedding. The hotel is clean, staff is wonderful, and continental breakfast was included and nice. We did have a room on the first floor close to the lobby so it was a bit loud. I suggest requesting a room not on the first floor and away from the street side. All in all this was a great place very close and a short walk to downtown Morristown where there are lots of shops, restaurants, and bars. Solid A for this place.

Chose this hotel for overnight guests as it was close to Brooklake Country Club where the daytime wedding was held. Friendly, helpful staff, immaculate rooms, comfortable and tastefully furnished. We had about a dozen rooms booked and held an afterparty catered by the hotel's restaurant, Hibiscus. Fabulous! And service was superb! Wonderful breakfast too, and a 12 noon check-out time. Also walking distance to Morristown Green! What a weekend!

This wan only a one night stay for business, but I honestly wished I could have stayed longer!! I've stayed in some pretty mediocre Best Westerns over the years, but this place was awesome. Only 2 little glitches - the first room they assigned me wasn't ready - housekeeping had not made up the room, but the front desk thought it was ready. Easily fixed - just assigned me a different room. Second, the restaurant didn't open on time because the waitress was stuck in traffic. Normally not a big deal, but I had very limited time to eat and get back to work for the evening. The manger was kind enough to relay my order to the chef and they started working on it right away - even before the waitress arrived. They put great effort into ensuring that I could enjoy my meal and not be late to work!!! The hotel itself was very good also - rooms spacious, clean, quiet. They had coffee/tea and fresh fruit available 24/7; a little wine tasting and cookies in the evening, and the best breakfast - made to order omelettes/eggs, waffles, meats, potatoes... Very delicious! I wish all BWs were like this. I will definitely return here when in the area again. Thanks for a great stay!!

All needs were met. Pleasant, very clean and breakfast was wonderful. I would recommend to others. The only problem was the air conditioner barely worked during the night. It was fine up until about 1:00 am then seemed to blow hot air. Very uncomfortable. The desk help was very pleasant and I would go back but would tell them to make sure I got a room with working air.

My stay at the Best Western Plus in Morristown, NJ was just what I needed after a long day on the road from Washington DC with a big crew. The hospitality was spot on and front desk was extremely kind and courteous upon arrival especially at 1am. We were very pleased and comfortable in our rooms and felt safe given the location of the hotel. Even with the hotel being very busy this night they had ample parking and there were zero disruptions. Breakfast was worth the price of admission. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food and coffee were! Housekeeping are nice folks and really went out of their way to help us with all of our requests. This is by far the nicest Best Western I've ever had the pleasure of staying at. Incredibly comfy beds, beautiful and spacious bathrooms, and lovely art throughout the building. Morristown has been called "the military capital of the American Revolution" because of its strategic role in the war for independence from Great Britain so there are loads of George Washington murals and other Revolutionary scenes throughout the hotel. The town itself is quite quaint and worth spending some time while there if at all possible. If you're in the area or plan on being in the area and want a great hotel this one is definitely worth staying at!

My history with Best Westerns is inconsistent, but this was by far the best of the lot. You are a short drive from downtown Morristown, and if you are ambitious, it's very walkable. Service was excellent- both at the check-in and the small breakfast buffet that is available. Rooms were clean and it will pass any fair "is this hotel safe and clean?" test.

I've stayed at this Best Western many times and have always had a good experience. While some might not like the walk into town (maybe 1/2 mile tops), that's what I enjoy the most as I can stretch my legs after driving or a long day in meetings. Besides the onsite restaurant, there are many, many eateries within easy walking distance, less than 1/4 mile.

This was a very nice hotel! We arrived and there was no one at the front desk, but after about 5 minutes someone came out to greet us. Was kind of strange, not sure if no one heard us or what. Maybe they could out a bell out front for faster service. The beds were very comfortable at this location and the room was very spacious. They also have a restaurant on site as well, but we did not try it on our stay. We did, however, really enjoy the breakfast. The breakfast is served in the same location of the restaurant in the basement. They had someone there serving omelets made to order, as well as someone tending to the waffle machine to make you a fresh waffle as well! This was great. The selection of foods was awesome and our stay at this hotel was great. On another note, there is always hot coffee in the lobby. We would definitely return if in the area!

The hotel was in a great location on our way to Gettysburg. The rooms clean, quiet and the breakfast was out of this world. Great servers making you any type of eggs, or waffles. They made sure you had anything you wanted, it was lovely. The front desk when we checked in seemed a little disinterested in us or any of the questions we were asking but once the shift changed the young women was more than happy to answer any of our questions.

My room was clean. The hotel was quiet and the bed was perfect. Climate control was up to date and perfect. Therefore, I got a great night's sleep. The location is 1 block off of I-287, so very convenient. On site free parking. The free breakfast buffet included hot and cold items, all you could eat, and was of excellent quality!

Check-in and out was easy... Parking is a little bit small. Accessible/walking distance to downtown area. Best free Best Western breakfast except the restaurant was too small... But overall, I would stay here again

This hotel was amazing! It was above and beyond my expectations. The building is older, but it is well maintained and cared for. Our room was very spacious. There's a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, iron, and ironing board. It also has a decent sized closet. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and I slept well with very little noise. Breakfast was fantastic!! They had very friendly staff members helping serve and make omelettes, bacon, sausage, eggs, and waffles. They also had bread, muffins, Danishes, fresh fruit, yogurt, and cereal choices. I would definitely come back to this hotel if I were in this area again.

The hotel is very conveniently located off of I287 and near Downtown. The room is typical hotel, clean and with a small refrigerator, microwave, air dryer, iron, ironing board, etc. However, the wall mounted AC struggled to keep the room cool on a 90 degree day (another guest had the same complaint about their AC). We also had a hassle with our confirmed Reservations when one of the scheduled rooms did not snow up on the desk clerk's records. Eventually it was found but too late for us to effectively use. The lobby had nice hot coffee. Though I didn't see it, my wife said the free breakfast included a staffed omelet station. I would still use this hotel again given its location.

This hotel appears to have the charm of a very old hotel when viewing on approach. However, the hotel is very well maintained and has one of the best breakfast offers throughout any hotel chain. You find this difficult to beat when staying at other hotels.

this is an outstanding place to stay, quiet, well maintained, and central to Morristown with easy very close access to major highways. A truly great place to stay in this area with Highway 287 within two blocks, and major access roads to the Garden State Pkwy nearby. It's also down the street from the best bakery in the area, the Swiss Chalet and a short walk from there to Morristown center and a host of different restaurants.

I've stayed in a few hotels in this area, and this one is the best. Vrey nice staff, convenient location, quiet and great breakfast. Nice little touches like warm cookies in the lobby and tasting local wines. Will be my hotel of choice when I am back in the area. Close to Drew University and Fairleigh Dicknson.

Had a pleasant experience ! Would recommend hotel, liked the full breakfast with fresh cooked omelets and nice crispy waffles, delicious well seasoned home fries. and fresh fruit. Very nice dining area. Room was very clean and fresh, bed and pillows very comfortable. Only complaint was someone playing their music out in the parking lot one night, and parking on Friday night was hard to find around 10 pm.

We have stayed here at least twice a year every year since 1996, Great family atmosphere, quiet, and close to many attractions in this part of NJ. Prices are very competitive. Many of the staff have been here for years and they know us and we know them.

A surprisingly superior experience. The room was large and beautifully decorated with large refrigerator, microwave, and wireless access. Plenty of outlets to plug in mobile devices. Had roomy bathroom. The Hibiscus Restaurant is fabulous - great Caribbean food. The breakfast that came with the room charge was great - a buffet including delicious omelettes and the best Belgian waffles I have ever had. The hotel is located a short car ride from the highway and easy to find. Parking is plentiful. Great stay - would definitely stay here again.

Right from the moment my fiance and I arrived the staff was helpful and kind. The decor of the hotel was beautiful and the entire place was clean and hospitable. I arrived to check in very late from business in NYC and the following morning we were able to leave with a late check out. This place was wonderful. The room was clean and had everything we needed. There was a desk, a comfortable sitting chair with a small night table, a coffee maker, clean bed, refrigerator, microwave and TV. The bathroom was clean and had all the extra toiletries you could need. It was a lovely room. The location was also convenient, relatively close to the highway and close to the cute downtown area. It was a quiet location, close to everything you could need. Although I was on business, this hotel could even be a cute little getaway for a couple. This town was quaint and full of boutiques and beautiful architecture. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great service from Steph & Ray at check in/out. The breakfast was endless with the wonderful kitchen characters. Would recommend stopping in to stay a night or two. The evening meal was a bit of a let down.

Spent two nights here. The only minus is that it cost $188 a night, but then Morristown probably has more brokerages per capita than most other places. This is a wealthy city. The pluses are: 1) Location. Easy to get to from Newark International by car, although the hotel website directions are a bit confusing. At the southern end of downtown, so you can walk to nearly everything in the town. Two blocks from a decent supermarket that has decent takeout. Fifteen minutes walk to the train station, which is 1 hour to NYC with frequent trains. You can even walk to two of the three branches of Morristown National Historic Park (Fort Nonsense--about 2 miles--and Washington's HQ, about 3/4 mile.) 2) Free breakfast. Two staff people to customize your eggs or pancakes (unlike the do-it-yourself found in other places), plus an assortment of the usual cold foods ranging from fruit to yogurt to cereal. I'm a light breakfast guy---cereal and fruit---and was pleased that they had skim milk. 3) Windows that open---and a fairly quiet neighborhood, so you can get fresh air. 4) Parking and a shuttle within town that only operates in the a.m. 5) Easy-to-use wifi. 6) Lots of cable TV stations; it was fun to watch the Yankees baseball game. 7) Table to work, good lighting, comfortable bed (not too soft). All in all, a step above Hyatt Place, Springhill Suites, etc. although a higher price depending on location. Note, it has no pool and just some basic cardio machines. There's also an onsite Caribbean-style restaurant, but with the rest of the city at your fingertips, I went out.

I am a comedian traveling through New York state. I had an extra day off, so I decided to stay the night in New Jersey. The room was very comfortable, and there was an amazing restaurant inside the hotel that local people dine at because it is so good. The staff was fantastic. They were kind and helpful with any and all request that I had. I would definitely stay at this location again if I am ever in the area.

Had a wonderful experience for my brief stay at the Best Western PLUS, my first ever stay in one of these hotels. They provided free breakfast and wi-fi, and the double bedroom I had was quite sizable with a refrigerator, microwave etc. The best surprise was their restaurant, which provided authentic caribbean cuisine, and a very personable staff.

We were there a couple of days for a conference. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There was coffee in the room (happy dance for me). The breakfasts were good, a nice selection of foods and you could order an omelet which was part of the breakfast. I would stay there again.

I stayed here for almost a month, the hotel became a second home. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfy. I also loved that there were lots of outlets to charge devices as most of the time this is not the case. The hotel and morning breakfast staff are awesome, they were friendly and helpful. There is a complimentary hot breakfast every morning. This hotel is also within close walking distance to two drug stores and a supermarket. The town area is also within walking distance where there are many local shops and restaurants to choose from. If you don't feel like going out you can also stay in and dine at Hibiscus, the Caribbean restaurant in the hotel. The food there is also very good. I look forward to coming back to Morristown and staying at the Best Western Plus Morristown In in the future. Thank you for such a lovely stay!

Best Western in Morristown was easy to find. The lodging was clean, well maintained, and comfortable - one of the nicest places I've visited - particularly for the price. The morning breakfast had a good selection and a gentleman was standing by to make eggs up fresh as requested. The desk staff was very helpful - especially Jim who helped refund my 2nd night when I rec'd good news my father would be out of the hospital a day early. I loved walking from the hotel down South Street to admire the old houses and churches. There were plenty of restaurants nearby to choose for dinner. I recommend The Swiss Chalet Bakery for lunch

My wife and I stayed here 12-16 and again 22nd. We loved this place, the rooms are well equipped and so comfy. I cannot praise the staff enough, nothing was any trouble and extremely friendly. The breakfast is a real treat and having your omelet/scrambled egg made fresh while you wait is great. The hotel is in a great location within walking distance of the town. Next time we come to Morristown we will be staying here.

We were there over the weekend- 18- 20 march to see the museum and were delighted with the accommodations and especially the included breakfast which consisted of made to order omlettes , fruit, pastry, coffee, and other nice things. The wait staff was the best !

I recently stayed at the Morristown Best Western and was very happy. The room was very nice and clean. The free breakfast was more then I imagined it would be (waffles and eggs/omlets made to order as well as everything els...great), the front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Stayed in the Morristown Inn for one night, the outside appearance is lovely - however it is quite dated inside the bedrooms. We had a room with a small kitchen area where the appliances and utensils were horribly outdated and scruffy - I would not have used them Beds were comfy and clean, we had a road view - windows were really dirty, probably because of the road. Staff were very welcoming and friendly and the small reception area was pleasant. Breakfast was nice and staff were lovely. The overall stay was extremely overpriced considering the facilities in the room.

Very convenient location in Morristown, NJ with outstanding amenities. We checked in on a Friday evening and wanted a late dinner. There was a Valentine's Day jazz group in the restaurant with a cover charge for the evening. We wanted a light dinner after a long day so we passed and went to our room to decide on where to go. A hotel staff member called us to say that the restaurant is under separate management, but since we are staying at the hotel the cover charge would be waived. The food was great, reasonably priced and the jazz ensemble lifted our spirits. The next day we had a superb breakfast with omelettes and many other options. We would definitely recommend this hotel. This inn is definitely "PLUS"-worthy.

A very accommodating hotel within walking distance from Morristown Memorial Hospital while visiting family. Breakfast included with made to order omelets, waffles, coffee, tea, cereal, & many other items was convenient.

Our small family stays at the Morristown Inn periodically and my daughter raves about their breakfasts. Yes, the beds are comfy, the rooms are clean and quiet, but according to our in-house expert their omelettes are fabulous. As far as my breakfast review - they're coffee and raisin bran are also excellent. Also, I appreciate the complimentary Wall Street Journal. Good value, nice staff, and convenient.

I was in NJ for 1 night and needed a less expensive option. This hotel was clean, the employees were nice, and a hot breakfast was part of the deal! Not to mention the fresh baked cookies at check in!! The hotel is centrally located to interstate 287. This hotel turned out to be just what I needed!!

This is a quaint older hotel at the edge of Morristown. There is probably some historical significance to the site. The staff are all polite, professional and engaging. The room is what you would expect from a best western but not impressive for the $200+/night cost. I do NOT recommend the restaurant and the internet was beyond slow and virtually useless!

Nice sizes room with excellent lighting, DVD player, microwave, nice sized frig, coffee maker, bathroom with counter area, and bath/shower with safety bars. Generous free breakfast including option of freshly made omelette. Good temp controls. We had a problem with the TV remote but didn't take the time to get it taken care of. Good location to explore this area of NJ.

Hotel was clean and centrally located. It had a complimentary breakfast, which was good. Staff was courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. You can walk to restaurants and it is near train stations and major highways. Uber was also easy to get. Hotel needs a bit of a makeover. Décor is a bit dated, but all in all a good place to stay in Morristown.

I have stayed at this hotel many times over many years. Recently I spent the weekend there. The rooms are comfortable; beds are relaxing; plenty of pillows; great HD TV and very good cable service. Check in was easy; check out was easier. Great staff. Nice PLUS at this place, a great full complimentary breakfast. Not continental. Full. Omelets included. Can't recommend this hotel enough. Consistency is the key with me in restaurants and hotels. This place delivers.

the first thing is that they are doing renovations...so i will have to return to see if my review improved or not. Regardless of checkout time, there was no one at the desk at 730 am and when i returned from their breakfast at 815 am. Breakfast is a small table set up downstairs with eggs to order, jiuce, coffee, french toast, pancakes, and meats. No bell to ring, and no one answered my callout. Thankfully, a staff member passed by and went to get the desk person inside the front office. the room had a microwave, flat screen, refrigerator, and a comfortable (firm) bed. Everything was working fine and the bed has 8 pillows so if you get bored in this town, a pillow fight seems to worth the effort. The hotel also has an elevator. There seems to be a catering hall restaurant downstairs. The bathroom was big and NOT something that was built from a supply closet. NEGATIVE wise,as this is a non smoking hotel>> I mentioned the place downstairs. I assume there was a party going on; as our room was on the first floor. THey must have been smoking up a storm as the smell of smoke came into our room and the rooms around us. The noise level from whatever band was playing was heard in our room as well. There was no answer at the front desk after we discovered all of those surprised (about 8 pm; as everything was still in full swing). Our room had a connecting door to the next room and unfortunately, any noise could be clearly heard by the other..to include the TV and any snoring or talking. I will wait for this hotel to finish their reservations before i go back again.

It Was a quick check in. The room was as described, but unfortunately the refrigerator in the kitchenette did not work and had a horrid smell. The hotel had several signs up to apologize for their condition during renovation, so when we went to the basement area where the restaurant is, it was not a pretty site. Although inside the restaurant was maintained and the staff was very pleasant. Now the Major Problem we experienced during our stay was at the end of the stay. My daughter and I put a "Do Not Disturb" Sign on the door, so we could take a nap for our long ride back home, unfortunately for some reason Housekeeping ignored the sign and started banging on the door at 10:45? Then proceeded to put the key-card into the door to open it? I automatically yelled out to them and by the time I got to the door they were running away? I checked that the "Do Not Disturb" sign was still there and it was? I then proceeded to call the desk 3 times, to see if check out was at 11:00 and not 12:00 and no one answered. My daughter and I quickly packed and rushed out of the room. The gentleman at the front desk apologized for not responding to the call, stating he had to step away from the desk for a little while. But by then we were upset at the rush to gather our things and the overall entire situation.

Our second, extended stay at the Best Western Plus in Morristown, NJ, was even better than the first. Every staff member was helpful and courteous. The cooked breakfast, included in room charge, is full and delicious. Especially when compared with other hotels in the area, this one is a winner. And it's just a few blocks off I-287.

I usually do not stay at West Western properties because of past experiences; however, this hotel was a very pleasant surprise. While it is an older property, it has been maintained very well. My room was a king with a chair, TV, fridge, microwave, desk & chair, and free Wi-Fi. The bed was so comfortable, and the room mostly quiet. However, I could hear the person in the room next door talking on the phone but it was not loud enough to hear the conversation. No noise from upper floors or hallway. The tub needed refurbishing but the bathroom was clean and large enough to move around in. The breakfast area had a chef to fix eggs anyway you wanted, waffle maker, fruit, yogurt, drinks, sausage, bacon....a large selection and very good. Staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions for restaurants. I am in this area frequently, and it will be my hotel of choice in the future. This hotel is close to the freeway and convenient to local restaurants.

Location of this Hotel is good. but that is all they have going for. Beds/Mattresses has not been change since this hotel opened. Mattresses are so bad, rooms are so dingy. Will not plan to stay here again.

We normally are booked at another hotel when we visit headquarters, however, our travel agent booked us at this Best Western. We asked our driver how was the hotel? He replied, normally I take everyone to the Madison. As we entered we were met by a very polite warm and a big smile from the front desk clerk. While I do apologize for forgetting his name, he was wonderful! He got us to our room as quickly as possible and told us if we needed anything to please let him know. As I open the door to my room, I did not know what to expect however, I was quite amazed at the way my room looked. I am in instantly fell in love with the bathroom. The room was clean, smelled oh so nice and I must say I was not afraid to sleep in the bed. The next morning we were instructed that they serve continental breakfast on the lower level. One word, DELICIOUS!!!! The chefs were amazing they had great conversation made me laugh and make sure that my plate was always full and I did not want for anything. While I did feel that the price was a little high at $139.99. You get what you pay for and my stay at this Best Western was well worth the price! I would recommend if you are traveling tomorrow town so please think about staying at this Best Western it is close to all the eateries and you can always go for a walk and go shopping. The staff is friendly and they make sure you want for nothing Best Western I give you a 5! An amazing staff and wonderful stay!

Very nice overall. A bit dated around the edges, but I grew to like it the longer I stayed. Excellent location. Meticulously clean! That was key. My wife and I were forgiving of some tired features here and there because our room was so clean. Kudos to the maid service. As others have noted in online reviews, the staff are friendly and accommodating. We'll be back.

This was one of the best hotels I've stayed in, specifically for their food. We had dinner at their in-house restaurant when we got there. My husband had their fall-off-the-bone ribs and I had a roast turkey dinner. SO FANTASTIC. The (complimentary!) breakfast had huge sausages, bacon, MADE TO ORDER omelets and waffles with fruit. Very unexpected for a free breakfast! A great way to start the day. The service at the front desk was also very good, and friendly. They gave us good recommendations for the area. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and overall it was a very delightful experience. We will stay here again when we are in the area!

At $170 plus tax, this recently refurbished property was an exceptional value. Location within walking distance of the town center and easily accessible off IS287. Staff knowledgeable and helpful. The room was well laid out though not overly large. New bed and mattress extremely comfortable. Very good shower. Breakfast with made to order omelets is exceptional, including fresh fruit, breakfast meats, etc., etc. Fresh chocolate chip cookies every afternoon. Fast internet. Two minor negatives. If you have a room facing the street, the traffic noise can be a problem. Didn't bother us but I thought I should mention it. Also a slight mix-up on internet access. Be sure you are using the current code. In summary, we will definitely return to this property.

After having stayed here several times over the last few months rating this one is sure to put you in a dilemma! This is truly a 'quaint old' place in Morristown, walking distance to downtown restaurants, shopping & attractions. The key to remember is that it is very old ('historic') and absolutely nothing fancy to expect here. Having said that, the staff is amazing and go out of the way to make your stay comfortable. Rooms are comfortable and clean, no frills attached though. The gym is decently equipped. Proximity to the Morristown train station makes for a convenient transportation option to the Big Apple! 'Hibiscus' the Caribbean restaurant in the basement serves up a unique, creative cuisine. Breakfast is free, fair selection of the usual fare. Fresh made custom omelettes are a delight! Overall a delightful place.

The front desk staff greeted me warmly every time I walked by and wanted to make sure everything was to my liking - it was. The room was clean and attractive; the free wifi worked well; the sitting area in the lobby was pleasant; the breakfast was adequate. I didn't eat at the restaurant on this trip, but I have on others, and the dinners were delicious. It's in a very convenient location to see the sights in the area. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Stayed at this hotel for a 5 day business trip. Room was clean and housekeeping kept it that way the whole trip. Staff was nice and accommodating as well. I didn't require much, because nothing was broken or to my displeasure, but they asked every day if I needed anything. I booked a Queen bed studio and it had plenty of room. I was there for 5 days so I needed some space above a traditional small room or I would have gone stir crazy. Plenty of elbow room and space to complete some work as well.

Arrived very early morning on a Thursday with no reservation. The gentleman at the desk was very helpful and courteous with getting us into a room. Helped my husband with parking our car in a safe area as we were pulling a Jet Ski. The room was clean and pretty, the bed was comfortable and the staff more than helpful.. Would recommend this hotel highly.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights whilst visiting family in Morristown. It was quite disappointing. First of all the pluses, the room was very clean and spacious as was the bathroom . The bed was very comfortable. Can't comment on the breakfast as we didn't have any. The minuses, there was no plug in the bath, the shower was cold and the towels were very small.

I am in LOVE with this place I love the set up of the hotel the breakfast was amazing the room was beyond clean I didnt stay the whole weekend as I planed however without any issues I was refunded my money I will surely be back GEORGE is very helpful if your a super late night booker like myself.

Not sure a budget travel hotel such as a Best Western is 5 stars such as a luxury hotel, but this one had no flaws. Convenient to the Hwy, but a bit secluded in the parking lot adding a bit more security for parking. Very friendly staff. Updated spacious rooms with larger mini fridge, microwave, and very comfy bed. Free wifi. The included breakfast was nice and included the usuals but also eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy. We decided to bypass Nashville and Knoxville on an Eastward drive and arrive a bit later at this hotel...based on the reviews and ratings. We were happy we did.

I stayed here the night before a half marathon race. After traveling for hours and getting stuck in traffic related to The Pope's visit, I was exhausted when I checked in. I was very pleased to find that my room was large and clean, and that the bed was comfortable. The linens on the bed even smelled really fresh, like they had just come out of a washer. The hotel is located within walking distance from a small grocery store as well as a CVS and Walgreen's for those last minute emergency purchases. I didn't eat at the restaurant but the aromas wafting out of it smelled great.

Conveniently located off the interstate, this BEST WESTERN PLUS is a very cute, very clean hotel. The rooms are huge(!) and the beds are very comfortable. They offer a nice breakfast in the morning, guest laundry, and a mini refrigerator and microwave in the room. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful and I don't have a bad word to say about the entire experience. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is great! I had an exceptional stay. The room was very clean, large, and nicely decorated and very comfortable. Bed was awesome. There's a fridge, coffee maker, and microwave, and the complimentary breakfast is fantastic. The staff was welcoming and helpful. It's located in a cool part of town, very clean, quiet neighborhood, lots of neat historical stuff nearby. I was very impressed, and will definitely stay here again next time I am in town.

We stayed at the hotel to participate in the Gran Fondo event in Sep 2015 ($99/night)and the experience was great. Walking distance to the start line and hot breakfast served till late morning was great. Surprisingly the riders were also provided a very early morning breakfast (fresh fruits) that was very nice. Will definitely consider staying back at this place. There is no swimming pool which was one of the things the kids were looking forward to and missed!
