My husband stayed here with my dog, Charlie, on his way to pick me up from a cruise. I only wish the cruise had gone as well as the night stay at thus wonderful hotel. The cruise: a complete disaster. The hotel room: fantastic. The people were nice, parking was easy and my dog was treated like the prince he is. My husband's only smallish complaint was he wished breakfast started earlier. Definitely an A+
We needed a room that was pet friendly for an overnight stay after attending a wedding. So happy we found Best Western. The hotel is very nice. The room was spacious and pretty. It had everything we needed. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Their breakfast had a variety of choices, hot or cold. We couldn't have made a better choice. Plus the desk people were super friendly. Thanks Best Western.
Best hotel stay in a long time. Sheets were comfy, pillows felt just right, the entire place felt clean and well kept. For any event this was the best place to stay in Mexia. The employees made everything easy from checking in, our two day stay, and checking out.
Sweet and caring staff who made us feel like family. They even turned out AC down before we got to our room so the temperature was perfect! Very clean rooms! Comfortable beds! Delicious breakfast! Clean pool!
Can only say nice things about this property. Everything works; everything is clean and well maintained,; the breakfast is very good with a variety of hot and cold food. I would return when in the area without a doubt.
We stay at this hotel a lot when visiting family through the year. We have gotten to know much of the staff here and they are respectful and kind to our family. The rooms are always clean and we have never smelled a "dog smell." We have stayed in their specialty rooms: 1) 3 Queen Beds room 2) Whirlpool with 1 King Bed room, as well as the traditional 2 Queen, 2 Kind and 1 King rooms. They even have conjoined rooms which was also fun to have when multiple family members stayed with us. The pool is on the small size but they have a nice pergola to sit under. The location is easy to get to and has plenty of lighting in the parking lot. Of the 5 different Best Westerns we have been to this year, we like this one the most. The only downfall is some beds aren't as comfortable to us.
We stayed in this hotel about 2.5 yrs ago. I was amazing. It was just as amazing now. We were in room #106. The attached to the wall hair dryer did not work. I did report it. I was in town for a funeral and they allowed me late check out!
We were so impressed with the cleanliness of this hotel. The lobby, room, pool, breakfast area - everything was clean and fresh. The bed was so comfortable. Both the night and morning staff were very helpful and friendly. We would definitely recommend this hotel!
This hotel is well taken care of , room was nice, clean, everything was good. Front desk staff friendly and polite. Its above average for a Best Western in my opinion. Keep up the good work Mexia Best Western !!!
Property was easy to find, the front of the property was fenced, the grounds looked well kept and parking was readily available. Pleasantly greeted upon arrival, easy and seamless check-in. Room was clean, good AC on a hot Texas day and there was great water pressure. No issues at this property, would definitely stay here again if my travels brought me near Mexia in the future.
My wife and i have stayed here on two separate occasions. Both times the experience was GREAT!! there are good restaurants in the area. We really enjoyed Freddies Italian restaurant. The bread and dipping sauce was awesome!!
This hotel is a great place to stay. It is priced accordingly, has clean rooms and lobby area, has a good breakfast with a good variety of options, and most important the staff is helpful and polite. I have stayed at this location multiple times and have never had one complaint.
I found this hotel to be comfortable and well appointed and clean The staff were friendly and welcoming. the location in Mexia is convenient close to shops and amenities. I I definitely would recommend this hotel to others.
I've stayed at this hotel previously as well, and the times before were also excellent. As this trip was more of a personal nature, the staff treated us with the utmost courtesy and professionalism, allowing my family to concentrate, rest and truly enjoy this moment for what it was worth, We will be staying there again in the near future.
Good check in process. Clean simple room. I don't use the soaps or hair products left but there were 4 conditioners and no shampoo. Breakfast very underwhelming with bagged coffee concentrate, a yogurt “dispenser” that leaked and looked unclean. Very limited choices. Cereal, eggs, bread, yogurt or muffins. Waffle machines not turned on. Serving ware placed with handles down. Impossible not to have touched the eating side when stocked. All around unsanitary feel.
My wife and i stayed at the Best Western Hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They acknowledged me every time I walked thru the Lobby. The beds felt great. usually we expect not to sleep well. They were fantastic!! The breakfast was decent. The waffles were very good.
Clean rooms and friendly staff i stay here quite often for work and have never had any issues. The manager and owner are very friendly and accommodating I have had to cancel due to work issues and they have always been understanding and helpful.
This hotel was a find! All rooms are pet friendly for dogs 25 lbs or less. The guest rooms as well as common areas were clean and in good repair. The price was a bargain. Full breakfast. Grounds were well kept. I have paid twice the price for equal accommodations. We will definitely go back when in the area.
We stayed here one night as a stopping point to other places we were traveling. It was a very nice place to stay. Everything was very clean and the room was perfect. Internet connection was great also.
The best around our area for a get away. Friendly staff and always ready to help. I have stayed at this motel with family numerous times over the years for family fun. The grandkids love swimming and going to the weight room
I stayed here after reading the TripAdvisor reviews and they are right on target. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of my room and the comfort of the bed. The whole room smelled fresh and clean and reminded me of the nicer hotels you find in larger cities. My only complaint was the smell of the hallways. The air had been turned up, so mixed with the uncomfortable temperature was a gassy odor. I experienced it each time I stepped outside my room. Breakfast was minimal. Dry cereal, yogurt, instant oatmeal, fruit bars, apples and bananas were offered. The waffle machine was on, but I didn't see the mix anywhere and there was no one there to ask. COVID excuse. I would stay here again. Service wasn't the best but the room was great.
I have stayed here before, the rooms are always clean, plenty of towels, and the beds are so soft. The staff are always very nice and friendly. Will stay here again when I am in town. the rate are a little high, but you get what you pay for. overall very nice,
Excellent staff and always friendly and helpful. Rooms are always very clean and supplied. Bed are comfortable, at least for me they are. My only suggestion is they need to provide a guide list of the tv channels available to help reduce searching
When we checked in, I was happy to hear from the lady receptionist that at age 57, I was eligible for a senior discount. The following day I asked about how much it would be, and an older gentleman first asked for our room number to check, and then said it usually about covered the taxes. Excellent, I thought! But yesterday I got a electronic copy of the bill, and they didn't deduct anything. :-( I was disappointed. Not so much because of the money, even though a few dollars off is a few dollars off, but because I asked twice and they still couldn't get it right! The hotel was nice, clean, friendly staff. Plenty of towels, toiletries, coffee for the coffeemaker. Microwave and fridge, so you can store your own supplies for a snack. Free wifi, nice big tv. Plenty of hangers, iron and ironing board. Generous size desk and a comfortable armchair with footrest. The queen size bed was comfortable, but there was a bedside lamp only on ONE side. Both bf and myself like to read in bed, so this was rather annoying. For breakfast they offer coffee, several kinds of juice from a fountain, and they prepare a paper bag for each guest with fruit, pastry, bottled water and a granola bar. Because of covid19, perfectly adequate.
This little gem was perfect. The room was huge and amazing. I like the layout. Best feature, the water pressure in the shower! WOW!!! And after a long weekend from Thursday till Saturday night late, that shower was needed! Front desk person very nice. Beth helped me too upon check in. My only downfall is the breakfast was not Diabetic friendly....due to the Corona Virus, only pre-packaged pastries were available.
For the Town and the location $100.00 a night is too pricey. It's not walking distance to any restaurants or shopping. The back window is scenery to run down houses and unkept properties. Very nice hotel. Out of 7 hotels 1 of 2 of the nicest ones.
Everything was really good about this place except the breakfast breakfast need some work things taste a little out of date eggs were rubbery gravy was too thick had no flavor. They use too many machines there's not enough fresh items for breakfast
Rooms appeared to be newly renovated. All new decor. Everything sparkled. Quick and friendly check in and out experience. Great tasting Texas waffles. Pool area was clean and inviting. Convenient parking.
Needed a place for an overnight stay, and used Best Western points to stay here. Stayed on second floor not far from elevator. Quiet, well-lit room, which was nicely decorated and newly renovated. Good quality mattress. Pillows are the weak point at Best Westerns so I took my own, and slept very well. Parking lot clean and well-lit. I'd stay there again.
I am a business owner and understands the importance of customer service. The staff and accommodations are excellent each time I stay at the Hotel. I recommend this place to anyone staying overnight in the area.
I found a pair of dirty underwear in my bathroom floor, empty water bottles left behind the lounge chair next to the bed.. over all just sad. Takes two seconds to clean a room this size and it appears they didn't even look over it. Lord knows if everything was properly cleaned and sanitized.
We have stayed more than 6 nights since July 4,2019 . We have been treated wonderful ,respected, and this is our favorite place to stay when we come home to visit. I wish the pillows were better. But I will bring mine next time, pillows will NOT stop us from coming BACK.
Good experience. Nice and very clean room. I've stayed at this hotel many times and this was the best experience I've had. Big spacious rooms. Bed was nice and comfortable. Tub, bathroom and linen very clean. Those are big for me with hotels.
The staff was welcoming and the premises where very inviting. It was a blessing to stay at this Limestone County Best Western Hotel. We recommended 2 individuals. This hotel is wonderful for family reunions.
The room was clean and smelled really nice. The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We were there for four nights. We will stay here again when we come back.
Quiet and comfortable. Employees really care about the guests and the property. Bob puts a real effort into serving up a hot and tasty breakfast, even serving new items at times like quesadillas with pork, cheese, and veggies. Not spicy, but tasty. Would recommend and stay again.
It was pleasant, quiet, comfortable, good breakfast...convenient location. Friendly staff...very good housekeeping... I'd stay there again. The rooms are very adequate. The internet is very good. I had no issues. It'll be nicer when the pool is open.
Check-in was fine. Nice, clean room. Everything worked, including the wi-fi. Nice breakfast with biscuits, gravy, scrambled eggs and sausage along with breads and cereals. Decent coffee. Good, reasonable price. Nice stay.
Thier Breakfast was very good and they had hot food options (sausage, biscuits and gravy A+) The hotel and the rooms are very clean and the staff was great and helped quickly with any questions we had. Wonderful Stay!
Amazing place to stay spent 7 weeks straight here with 6 other coworkers we loved it amazing breakfast every morning and staff very friendly and helpful owners where amazing sweet and always made sure are stay there was 100% like home will recommend to other people to stay there if we loved it others will too.
We checked in after a family event and found one of our beds had rat droppings. We called the front desk and the guy came to check it out and had to get the manager. The manager tried to say it was from the AC unit but after he examined it realized it was in fact rat droppings (and plenty of them). They offered to change the sheets and we were tired and really in the middle of no where at night so my husband agreed. They came back with sheets and were going to put the same comforter but I asked for a clean one which apparently they didn't have any and could only bring a light brown blanket. Honestly don't think any of the sheets were clean ones. Would not stay there again especially since we were charged extra for our kids.
We have stayed here twice and we will stay here if we are in the area again. We arrived late but there was still open spots in the parking lot and check in was about normal. Breakfast didn't have a lot of hot options but was decent.
Really enjoyed the time we spent here for the labor day weekend and we will be returning in the future for vacation. Thanks to the gentleman running the breakfast buffet and front desk was very friendly and helpful wish we caught his name
Stayed here when we had an early morning appointment in Mexia. The beds are beds are very comfortable. It made it hard to get up as you really didn't want to leave. We didn't have time for breakfast, but the room is great.
We have not stayed in a Best Western in a long time. Our room is clean; comfortable beds; large flat screen TV; full size iron & ironing board; hair drier; microwave; coffee maker, mini fridge; 2 power plugs bedside; 2 lamps; adaquate AC; large shower head with water pressure. We enjoyed the 5' pool with gazebo. The pool was warm and just the right size. We enjoyed the exercise room. The breakfast is simple: cereal, yogart, eggs, sausage, waffles, bisquits and gravy. For Glutten Free, they offer a box of Honey Oats cereal. There is instant oatmeal. Every floor has a vending machine of soda and popular candy & chips. The staff has been attentive and friendly. Near Los Pepes Mexican restaurant & the Farm House restaurant and Wal-Mart. I have allergies, but have not had any problem in this room; however, they do allow pets, so allergies may be a problem in the future.
It is very easy to see why so many reviewers rate this hotel so highly. We stayed there on the last night of a month-long trip and were quite ready to get home. But, the Limestone Inn & Suites almost made us ready to spend a couple days more just because of the cleanliness, friendliness of staff and comfort of the room. Our accommodations were spacious, the bed was very comfortable, breakfast was superb and the lady at the reservations desk was so very friendly. I am sorry that I neglected to get her name. She recommended The Farm House as a good place for dinner and she certainly steered us in the right direction. The cost of the room was much less than other places we stayed during the trip. We especially liked the pictures on the wall of the room because they were of bluebonnets and made us feel very welcomed back home. We only get to the Mexia area about once a year, but in the future we will know exactly where to stay.
Our room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained with good amenities (coffee, microwave, fridge, wi-fi, flatscreen tv, etc.). The hotel has an exercise room with cardio and weight equipment. Breakfast was good, both hot and cold choices, and some healthier options, such as yogurt and fruit.
I love, love, love this location. I always feel safe here. The staff are mostly friendly and always willing to help. Robert was great at breakfast, talking to us asking if we needed anything. Again I love this location.
Was worried about coming to a small town and finding a nice hotel. Best western exceeded all my expectations. It was very clean, looked like fresh paint, nice bathrooms and good water pressure in the shower. Internet was fast and the king suite i was in had a huge samsung tv. The best hotel I've been in all year.
As a woman traveling alone with my niece I felt safe and secure. The staff was great and everything close around. Forgot a couple of things but they had and gave to me without a problem. Thank you guys for an enjoyable weekend.
Nice, clean rooms at an affordable price. Adjoining rooms made our 3 week stay very enjoyable with privacy when needed. Breakfast was good and always plenty of it. Great people willing to help you with anything needed.
Traveling to visit family in Dawson. Usually stay in Corsicana but everything was full up there so we went checked surrounding areas and this Best Western popped up. We were pleasantly surprised. We would definitely stay here again. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Real close to restaurants and a Walmart.
Chose this hotel because of others reviews. Disappointed. The area didn't feel safe, the person that checked us in wasn't even wearing shoes. When we left and came back a different person was working the front desk and had her kids with her. Very unprofessional. No dog area, room was big but there were 6 different kinds of smoke detectors (or some kind of detectors) in one room. So strange. The parking area was littered with dead black beatles all over the place, hundreds of them. We couldn't even get to the car without stepping on them. Gross! We did use the jacuzzi tub which after a long drive was nice. Overall, never again!!
The king room we stayed in was awesome, but the one issue is the springs in the mattress we're starting to pop up. The food was amazing and so in property. We will stay again, and everyone we know we will send them to y'all.
There are not a lot of hotel choices in this area, The Lime Stone Inn is one of the better. Friendly owners, and staff, who are professional at there stations. Continuous improvements being made, makes it one of the best Best Wesrterns I have stayed at.
Best Western in Mexia, Texas was a small quaint hotel but it was clean, the staff was professional and friendly and the rooms were very nice. Overall it was a very positive experience and I would definitely stay at this location again.
The room was clean and bed comfy; however, the fire alarm went off twice in the room while I was trying to sleep. Since I sleep days, this was quite an issue. When I reported it to the front desk he said there were no other rooms & said they had been having trouble with that one. Finally came in and took it out, guess that solved the problem, but perhaps the better idea would be to get a permanent fix or don't use that room If I have to stay in this area again, there is really not much to choose from, so i may be back, but hopefully issues will be resolved. Price was very reasonable.
Mexia, Texas is not a place most people will visit unless they have business or family there. It is close to Lake Limestone, so families may choose to stay here because of its proximity. But should you need to stop of the night in this area, the Best Western Limestone is a great little place. They repainted and refurbished most of the rooms less than a year ago. The rooms are kept clean and the beds are pretty comfortable for this price point. The pillows could use some work, though, so if you are staying a few days, bring your own. I stay here whenever I come to visit my son at MSSLC, and the clients are a mix of families, traveling workers, and mature couples. There is a pool to cool off in hot Texas weather, but you often have to dodge an abundance of crickets ( I guess they get hot, too, but they're not good swimmers). This location is close to shopping (Walmart and some independent shops along Hwy 84) and restaurants, so it is very convenient.
My husband and I stayed in a handicapped room. The bathroom had plenty of room for my husband to move his wheelchair around and that goes for the room as well. The beds were very clean, and comfortable as well. Being in Texas, the A/C was great too! We will be back!!
This hotel is very clean. The bathroom was spotless. Beds are comfortable and room is quiet. Hotel located on main road with plenty of dining choices and shopping. Just minutes away for Lake Mexia. Front desk staff friendly and helpful. Ampule parking and lots has adequate lighting. Did not use the pool due to cool weather.
I stayed at this hotel five nights. Great hotel, very clean and updated rooms. The staff all very polite!! The price was great. I would recommend this hotel if traveling through this part of Texas ...
What a pleasant place to stay. The front desk staff were so polite and friendly. The hotel itself was very clean and our room was very spacious with a window that was able to be opened. We had hoped for a top floor room but as all of these were full we had a ground floor room. There was some noise from above in the early evening and then it quieten down so the room was really quiet. The breakfast was adequate and breakfast room spotless. As with most BW hotels that we have stayed at, this one was of a high standard. Would certainly stay here again.
The hotel is very clean. Bob the breakfast cook is awesome! Takes bride of the quality of food served. The people that run the hotel take pride on the cleanliness and appearance of their hotel. Can't ask for a better staff, than the staff at the Best Western in Mexia, Texas.
The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable. The water pressure is excellent. The breakfast is standard hotel/motel fare. There was some noise from other guests at times and neighborhood dogs barking. But overall we enjoyed our stay. After a little side trip to San Antonio we returned here for our last night in the area.
Staff very friendly and professional. Room quite comfortable. Pleasantly surprised to find there was a free breakfast. Breakfast was good. Very nice pool - did not have time to get to enjoy it. Property nicely maintained. Dog friendly, too. We travel with our dog a lot.
This hotel is always clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I love it that there is always 2 bottles of water and 2 energy type bars sitting on the desk in the room when you arrive. The free breakfast is just ok, but hey it's complimentary. I would recommend a stay here. The prices are reasonable.
The staff is very friendly and the rooms are okay. Didn't care for the smell of smoke in the hallways and the carpet could be changed. Eat breakfast somewhere else. The food is ...blah. Location is good and parking is well lit.
This hotel is so clean, so well decorated. The rooms are incredibly nice, and a terrific value considering the very reasonable rates. It's just a wonderful atmosphere in a really well run establishment. Thanks to owner Al Patel for making me feel so welcome. There was a wide variety of choices in the breakfast room, of which I sampled many. Everything was fresh and delicious. I'm a fan of this place.
Awesome staff, clean hotel, accommodating.... yet one gripe: The cleanser they use to clean or mop the room had a very sour smell. Not good..... The bed was comfortable ... coffee was good. The breakfast was typical Best Western... so don't think that it will be over the top !! LOL
We booked through AARP. I went to cancel more than 24 hours in advance. This was a business trip, so as you well know a trip can wrap up a day or two ahead of schedule. Well, the hotel would not "authorize" the refund. i called AARP who tried to call the hotel to no avail. The next morning they got a hold of the manager and was told no they would not give a refund since it was booked through AARP. So then I called an hour later and spoke with the hotel manager and was told that they do not refund through Priceline. What? AARP is not Priceline. Please see the Policy Below. Needless to say we will not be booking here again. My husband travels 75% of the year in Texas, NM, OK, and WY. They lost BIG on us, and I hope you think twice before booking with these people. We have never run into trouble booking through AARP until this place, Ever... Like I said my husband travels on business and we have to cancel a day or two sometimes. This was not AARP's fault. AARP Return Policy: "If you have booked a refundable hotel room, we will process your refund on the day of your cancellation. Most credit card companies will post the refund to your account within one to two weeks and to your statement within one to two billing cycles. If you do not see the proper amount on your credit card statement after two billing cycles, call Customer Support at 1 (800) 468-3577." As you can see it was the hotel who chose not to refund our money. Good luck!
Excellent and quiet hotel. The breakfast area is clean and well stocked and an attendant is very visible tending to the guest needs. They have gluten free cereal. The hotel is about 35 miles to Waco where you have Baylor football, Texas Ranger Museum and the Dr. Pepper Museum.
My wife and I was called in at the last minute to fill in for the guest speaker who miss his plane and was not able to be in town. I called BW and the person said yes i remember you from the last time you stayed with us, and I have a room for you.
Great stay in Mexia, Texas and Navasota, Texas. I would recommend anyone to stay at a Best Western. They're very nice hotels and the continental breakfast is always nice to have. I will continue my business stays at Best Western hotels and will also be staying for any personal reasons. Thanks to you all.
The entire facility is clean and very well decorated. The room itself was spacious, well appointed and really comfortable. Huge breakfast buffet menu, and Al and his staff are the friendliest I've encountered. All of this at a rate that is very affordable. Couldn't be more pleased.
This is an Excellent Hotel. The owners are on-site and make the experience the Best! The are very down-to-earth and are always accessible to you if the need arises. they provide you with a wholesome and home-like comfort that I personally haven't seen in any other hotels that I have stayed. It's just a great place with great people. They staff are really nice people and are always friendly.
Overall experience was very good. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. TV and remote worked well with a great selection of channels. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
Would recommend to anyone. For a town the size of Mexia, Texas, it's the BEST! Nice breakfast for a Best Western with very attentive staff. Will definitely stay on my next visit. Rooms are clean and beds comfy. Very clean as well. Kudos to entire staff!
Convenient location in Mexia. The guest room was clean, the bath room small and old style. Botanicals - adequate. Bed and bath linens were thin, mattress was comfortable. Not much of a view. Room was mostly quiet.
I was able to use my reward points to take care of my reservation. The hotel was very nice and clean. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was delicious. I would definetly return soon! Hopefully I will have the same experience.
I've stayed here before and wouldn't stay anywhere else in this town. They offer great service, breakfast and the rooms are wonderful. Best of all is the bed and all the pillows. Great nights sleep. I highly recommend this hotel.
When scheduling a business trip to Mexia I discovered minimal lodging options. I selected the Best Western and am so glad I did. Staff were very friendly, the breakfast trumped the usual Hampton Inn fare, and the place was spotless. Will not hesitate to book here in the future. I travel every week for business and rarely take time to write reviews. I was compelled to write this one because of my good experience.
Friendly, helpful customer service. Clean rooms & bedding. Breakfast, gym, pool, bbq pit cabana, Smoking rooms. Pets up to 25 lbs allowed. For about $75 a nite....this is wayyyy above one's expectation. Fairly new hotel in the middle of Mexia.
We had a king suite, the pull out couch for our son came expectedly without bedding and upon requesting bedding and fitting the bed with sheets we found crumbs, a washcloth, an actual drill bit and wrappers of sorts under this mattress. The room was rancid and dirty. Mystery splatter on bathrooms baseboards. The breakfast host/front desk guy shut the breakfast down early (to his own admittance) and he did not offer to make more batter and we had to go have breakfast elsewhere. This is not a lovely BW experience, and sadly my faith in this brand is degrading upon each stay.
Great motel, clean. Great staff... cant be beat. Great place to stay. Helpful staff. No problems except one night computer connection problems and was fixed when i returned the next night to the room after working all day. Stay here you will not be disappointed.
Room was clean and spacious enough for me and my wife. Staff was extremely nice and professional. Hot breakfast provided every morning. Checking in and out was a breeze. I will definitely stay here again if I'm in the area.
Overall, the hotel was nice, comfortable and the hotel staff was very friendly. Typical Best Western experience. Except that the rooms were HUGE! Breakfast was nothing to get excited about, as is usual for most of the free breakfasts we have experienced. Was able to take my dog with me, which was ultimately why I chose this hotel. We had several friends with us also, and they were able to put all our rooms relatively close to each other during the reservation process. (But this hotel is not big, so that wasn't a huge concern.)
Need to put sheets & pillows in the room for the roll-out couch. We had to ask for them and all they gave us was one sheet and one thin blanket and was told there was enough pillows on the bed to cover all four of us and there were only 5 small pillows in the room. We made this work, this is our only complaint. We have stayed here before and it is very nice hotel.
Mexia is my hometown and we are there frequently, usually staying overnight with family. We decided this trip to get a hotel. I didn't expect much to be honest. The lobby was ok.-clean, nothing spectacular, but I wasn't sleeping in the lobby, so I didn't care. The room was pleasantly surprising. It was very large and really clean. Clean is a must for me in hotels and I am very observant. The bed was comfortable, the AC and heat worked well (typical TX weather-hot during the day and cold at night). There was a fridge, microwave, coffeepot, etc and complimentary bottled water and snack bars. The TV was larger than most hotel TVs. They do allow pets for a $10 fee. Only complaint-the man hanging out in the hall next morning waiting for us to come out of the room and ask for our hotel key for check-out. We just wanted to put some things in the car. We had over 2 hours left until check-out & the young lady at the front desk had already told me the room would be available the next night too if we needed it. I felt rushed by this man waiting outside our room. It is totally unnecessary. Would I stay here again or recommend? Yes.
Traveled with 4 grandkids, ages 2, 7, 8, 9. Staff made them feel important. Room was clean and beds were comfy. Kids enjoyed the breakfast and choices they had. Ran out of sausage by the time I was able to sit down and eat, but it was all good.
the front desk staff very nice, breakfast was very good-scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, bacon, biscuits and gravy, waffles, several pastries, gym good had weight station, eliptical machine, treadmill, exercise bicycle, easy to find hotel, several places to eat close by, wal-mart close by, quite while i stayed there, would stay there again.
this was a great motel with clean rooms and great service. i would stay here everytime i come to mexia. i would recommend everybody to stay here if they want a good clam peaceful clean and helpfully stay.
This is a very nice place to stay when visiting Mexia, TX. Our room was clean and quiet. Air conditioner worked well and the beds were comfortable. I specially like having a microwave and small refrigerator in the room. The free breakfast was okay. I would have liked to see some bagels or english muffins, but it did have a lot of variety and was filling. I will definitely be staying here again next time we come to Mexia.
Restocking retailers and making sales for bugRIGHT. This is the best place we ever stayed for best western. Breakfast is great and people are friendly. Place is clean and beds are comfortable. Pillows are fluffy. We stay here all the time when in the area. Pool is clean.
We got a cheap rate because we stayed here for 5 weeks. The staff was great and the hot breakfast was very good. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful with finding good places to eat or shop. I will stay here every time I go to Mexia.
Worst breakfast I have ever had at hotel. Could hear toilets in other rooms flushing all night long. The staff was great in the evening but only below average at night. Location was good and the price was reasonable.
I stay here several times each year, always a great place with clean rooms and good breakfast. Good location with places to eat nearby. Go to Walmart nearby for your adult beverages, but only beer and wine available.
Cleanest room we have ever stayed in. Breakfast was excellent with great presentation and well attended! Would definitely stay here again. My only comment would be that the pool is a little small and no hot tub.
The staff was nice and friendly at check in and through out our stay. Nice motel clean updated good AC and pet friendly Wookie liked it too! The grounds were well kept. Shower was good. No room noise we slept too late for breakfast visited the Rig.
