Check in was quick and easy. Room was large. However, it did have a very overwhelming smell of cleaner (pine-sol) when we got into room. We were heading out quickly so we turned on bathroom fan while we were out. Smell was gone when we returned. Bed was very comfortable. One gripe (applies to most hotels with direct-tv) is that they don't take the time to get rid of all the superfluous channels so you have to go thru a bunch of unwanted channels to find something on. Not a game changer but a bit annoying. Took a few minutes to get hot water in the shower but I chalk it up to being the farthest room from the mechanical room. When it did come it was plenty hot. Overall hotel was clean and a good place to stay. It was near what we needed and in a safe area. Will stay here again of the need arises.
Experience was frustrating at the least when front desk is unable to provide service. They can see what needs done can recognize problems can't fix them. So frustrating and stupid that they could see had enough points and had booked with points but had to charge me anyway
I'm so disappointed because I normally love Best Western and try to stay there whenever I can. However, I will not be returning to this one. First of all, the carpet throughout the hotel was disgusting. It looked as if it had never been cleaned. When we first checked in, our room smelled terribly of cigarette smoke so we had to change rooms. The front desk person was very nice about it and changed our room. The second room smelled better but still was not very clean. The carpet was disgusting and the sides of the bed looked as if they had never been cleaned- there was hair and stuff smeared all over. The breakfast was mediocre. I wish they had options for healthier, lower carb items. On a positive note, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We did have this hotel booked for another stay in November but after this stay I cancelled it and booked a different hotel.
Bed was comfortable. Room was clean and love the wood floors with a dog. Got first floor room that we requested and was thanked for my rewards membership on check in. Easy to get to and close to groceries and restsurants. They actually had dog clean up bags!
When I've stayed at this Best Western before, I couldn't have been more pleased. This time, not so much. When my granddaughter experienced a nose bleed during the night and got blood on the mattress cover, the front desk associate said there might be an additional cleaning charge. I was furious at this considering how disgusting the stains on the mattress itself looked from previous guests. I also know there was no way they would launder our bedding separate from all the other rooms so it was complete BS. Housekeeping this time was horrible. Even though there were 3 of us in the room and our reservation indicated that, we had to go to the front desk on multiple occasions to get enough towels and washcloths.
Very substandard. Hair in the sinks. Dirty. Very minimal. Short on service. Went down 2 times rang bell no one there. Never said anything about points earned. We are elite members. No receipt upon check out. When we left, i left the key in a box. I heard her yell from somewhere in the back thank you. Would not recommend. Overhead lights in hallway was full of bugs and dirty. Makes you wonder how clean other stuff was. Coffee pot was a challenge. So no coffee in the room. No info of things to do or places to eat. No tv info except what was on the screen. No phone book to look any restaurants available. If this was a plus hotel, needs work
Friendly staff. Room very clean. Quiet except people let their doors slam. The continental breakfast had variety and was always well stocked. Loved the cafe latte machine. Location was good for freeway access and getting around. A good find. We will stay again when in the area.
When we checked in, we were given bottled water and the GM Danielle Poole made sure we felt welcome and had all the information we might need for our stay. The bed was very comfortable and the room overall was quite nice. We were a short walk from Shari's Restaurant. This hotel was easy to find and a good location.
The desk clerks, both in the evening and morning were very nice. When I went to my room, it smelled like it had been smoked in, then had been cleaned with something very smelly to cover up the smoke smell. The clerk was very, very nice and upgraded me to a suite. The reason that I gave this hotel three stars is that the sheets showed a lot of wear and didn't look like they were able to be washed to be white again, one of the lampshades had holes in it, and just kind of some general shabbiness. it was fine for an overnight on the road, but it would not be a place that I would spend a much time in.
The quality of the breakfasts, the friendliness of all of the staff, the comfort of the beds, and cleanliness of the rooms and common areas are top notch.
Spotlessly clean room and everything was in perfect order. Will be my new go-to place to stay when in the area.
This motel is located close to the freeway as well as restaurants and grocery. My kids and I particularly enjoyed the very nice indoor pool and how close the motel was to the Children's Museum in Meridian.
This is the third time that we have used this facility. It is clean, secure and has a good breakfast buffet. We did not have/take time for any of the other amenities but the facility is a very nice place to stay whether on business or vacation.
Great rooms and good amenities with the perfect convenient location...and at an outstanding price. Best Wester Meridian has everything you need for a great stay.
Great location to fast food - interstate - very good selection for breakfast - Danelle at front desk is the best!
Although this Best Western is a bit on the older side, I couldn't have been happier with my stay. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the breakfast selections were great and the staff at the hotel were super friendly and helpful. Although it might not be a big deal for some, I appreciate the fact they offer daily housekeeping services. I've stayed in a lot of hotels since COVID and none other than this Best Western offer this service daily. Sadly this perk was discontinued during COVID and many places have never fully reimplemented.
Clean room, comfortable beds, great breakfast with outstanding selection, quiet and clean open pool and hot tub for guests to relax and enjoy. The price was great for the area when others were charging $50 to $100 dollars more. Easy access to all the surrounding activities, near the freeway
The customer service of the staff at this hotel was incredible! I would highly recommend this hotel. It was clean and everything we asked for was delivered and responded to immediately. Highly recommend
This is in a great location with shopping, gas and restaurants close by. We didn't have any issues with our stay and the staff were very helpful and nice. The only negative might be, I didn't see parking if you had a U-haul or other trailer.
They have very nice rooms and comfortable beds. Everything is spotless and well stocked. The breakfast is really good in comparison. The clerk at the front said he was switching shifts being shorthanded but did a great job. I have always had good service at this hotel.
The newly updated rooms are great! Not only nice to look at but very functional and comfortable. Also enjoyed all the breakfast choices, the convenience of the location and the best rate in town. I will definitely stay here again.
Unwelcoming & unfriendly front desk, housekeeping, and breakfast staff. Not enough breakfast options, the staff cut in front of line & took most of the food and it wasn't replenished. Found blood on shower curtains & walls!!! I'm a platinum member & I would never return to this location!
We had a nice stay at the Best Western Plus in Meridian Idaho on our way home from a road trip to Crater Lake National Park. The hotel was easy to reach from the freeway, and was within walking distance to places to eat. The room was clean, comfortable, and roomy with all the amenities we are used to. The room was arranged nicely, and was well cared for. They had free wi-fi and an adequate complimentary breakfast. The staff were welcoming and efficient. We would stay there again, and would recommend it to others.
My stay at this location was great. My only complaint would be quality of breakfast meats for the price paid to stay. Also breakfast attendant could use some training on keeping things filled until breakfast serving time ends & customer service to guests that are in the dining room.
Right when we walked in, noticed there was no smell in the hallways and it was clean. Breakfast was great! So many varieties to choose from. They gave you 3 hours for breakfast, we didn't feel rushed to getting up early nor eating fast. They never ran out of hot food, it was always filled. Pool area had plenty of towels to dry off with. I definitely recommend Best Western Plus to anyone I know and as for my family, we will only be staying at a Best Western Plus from now on.
Courteous front desk staff. Clean room. In-room AC working great for our summer visit (daytime high was 100F). Love the variety of breakfast items. Surprised to find in-room microwave and mini-fridge in our 2-queen-bed room at a reasonable daily rate.
Nice rooms, good food and great staf. Very prompt service from Norah and her team. Best hotel in nairobi CBD. I will definitely come back and i highly recommend the place for anyone who wants easy reach home within the CBD
Stayed in june/2023. Charged $20 for a pet, which we did not have. Still having a lot trouble trying to get it reversed. No return phone call or promises to correct. Nice hotel, but if incorrectly charged, it ruins the whole experience
I will stay again and recommend Best Western, Room was very clean with fresh linens. Clean floors and bathroom.. Room very quiet. Breakfast was good. Check in and check out very easy. Lady at front desk was so kind and helpful.
It is a nice location, but the little sign is very noticeable, needs a bigger sign like its competitor Motel 6. Was told it's under new ownership so hopefully that will happen. Other than that the room was nice, location awesome. The gal that checked us in was helpful and very funny. Made the experience awesome for our first stay there.
Wonderful stay at this hotel near the heart of town. We appreciated the extra little living room space and Great warm pool! The bathroom was small but clean. Full breakfast every morning. For those with animals it's great, those without not so much.
Beds are terrible, and pillows are just as bad! Can't remember getting worse sleep on a bed before! Location & service was good. Breakfast could definitely be much better. Overall, if they invest in beds & pillows it would be an OK place to stay.
I have stayed at several motels in my life-time. I found when I stay at the Best Western Motels I have no surprises. The people are very caring and the rooms are very clean, and the swimming pools and hot tubs are very clean. I found even the older Best Western Motels are great. God bless.
If you are trying to decide between this Best Western or the one in Nampa, pick this one. It may be a little older, but the staff is way more friendly and you won't have a problem with not having hot water. The pool was nice. The breakfast was what you would expect; eggs, waffles, muffins, etc. We didn't notice any noise from other guests. We would stay here again.
A typically good Best Western experence. A good location outside of Boise, and helpful if you are travelling westward, as you can wake up and move out on I-84 without dealing with any Boise traffic in the morning. The hotel is solid, and we had a very good experience with the front desk personnel. The indoor pool was a little cool during out stay, but the hot tub was very enjoyable. Breakfast was hot and had plenty of serving available. The room attendant keep the room clean and the items stocked. VERY convenient for us was that there is a Winco within a 3 minute walk from the parking lot, and we were able to stock up on supplies for our trip (we were joining family the next night in Washington State, and we were in charge of groceries). Easy access to and from the freeway, and decent food available in the area. Overall a very good place to stop, and a decent value for the cost.
Close to the freeway and shopping, very tightly fit next to a major boulevard, so noisy at night. The pool area is beautiful and indoors, so very nice. Parking is tight, so be patient. The staff were very friendly.
Only the Motel 6 was cheaper and I wanted to save money, but one does pay in lack of quality. We chose the Best Western over the Motel 6 because the pool was bigger and the ambience seemed more inviting, but the pool was so dirty I was a little worried one of the kids might get sick. Other than that, I would stay here again, after a quick inspection of the pool.
Steve, the night auditor, was very friendly and will get you what you need with a genuine smile. Linda, breakfast attendant, was willing to get me whatever she could to make me happy that she had available. The room coffee maker was a dinky pouch brewer and the pouches tasted like dirt.
We have stayed at this property many times over the years and this is the first time I would not go back. The room was not very clean, smelled musty, burns in the carpet (this was supposed to be a NON SMOKING room), the furniture was trashed. The place made me feel dirty.
Best Western Plus what? We are paying $300 tonight for a place that can't be better than the Motel6 next door . In the first 90 minutes we were here our room was changed because of plumbing problems and our keys were changed three times. Our double queen room is crowded and worn, there is no place to set anything down. You can hardly turn around in the bathroom and the pipes change and scream when you turn on the water. We needed to stay in this area for one night and picked this placed based on brand. Not again. Needless to say, I don't recommend it.
Cheerful, helpful staff greeted us to a very nice, dog (pet)-friendly hotel conveniently located right off I-84 in Meridian, ID. Located in a nice commercial district with nearby restaurants, etc. Clean, very comfortable; nice fitness/pool facilities.
Poor quality food and beds. Clean but way over priced at $160 a night. Limited parking. Make it you last resort. There is NO parking for trailers. Room prices should be $80 - $90 a night. I cannot recommend this location unless they reduce prices and make changes in service.
Family member having out patient surgery at st Lukes. Hotels closer to hospital (2 miles) were $75 more per night. Rooms were clean and quiet. Hot breakfast was good. scarmbled eggs sausage, small selection of breads including muffins, gravy as well as cold cereals and coffee juice. .
I checked in late, after 11pm and was greeted by a nice young man who said that he had been expecting us. The location is adjacent to a busy road but is quiet and has good access. The breakfast was the norm for BW, very good. The staff was courteous and professional as I have come to rely on when I travel. My only issue was the distance to the event but I'm glad I picked this location based on the service provided there.
Great stay! Loved the area and the rooms. The cleaning crew made things look great especially the breakfast, they deserve a lot of praise. We did not get to enjoy the pool and fitness room because of the long trip but it was nice to see they were there.
Very Nice Hotel - the room was clean, has a small refrigerator, microwave, coffee in room, computer desk and quite a bit of space. We had a king bed room. The bed was comfortable, got a good nights sleep. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was above average, it has the usual breakfast items, cereal, oatmeal, waffles, pastries, fresh fruit - but also had pre-cooked scrambled eggs and bacon. That was a nice treat. Normally we grab a pastry. fruit and some coffee and hit the road. We would stay here again when passing through.
After checking in I noticed the sink was draining slowly, after returning from dinner sink was full of Disgusting stinky black water. I reported it to the front desk twice but no one ever responded to fix it. The sink was still backed up 3 days later when I checked out. Told the front desk and got 0 satisfaction from them. They did not care I spent 3 days with smelly water in my sink.
Travel between Seattle and Salt Lake City, this is a great stop over. Outside of Boise, very close to freeway but far enough not effective by the noise. Easy on and off, restaurants and gas are right there too! I will stay here again, quite heating unit, doesn't have that turn on and off loud noise like most units do. Good night sleep with breakfast in the morning.
From breakfast to an evening soak in the hot tub, this Best Western takes care of you. Service is great and the rooms nicely appointed and quiet. The central location is a nice bonus, as well. Everything you need is close by.
I would not stay at this BW again. Check in staff was not very friendly or helpful. Outside doors did not lock (safety risk) parking wasn't good, garbage dumped around the hotel. Room wasn't very clean. Phone didn't work to call the front desk.
10 Years past a re-fit everything about this hotel was terrible there are allot better options nearby avoid at all costs and it is not cheap. The Holiday inn nearby is a much better option there are not bad ones of those.
The staff were all amazing, especially Victoria. I couldn't have been more please with the professionalism of the staff and the heated indoor swimming pool was very nice especially when it was 6 degrees outside
Even though the motel was conveniently right next to I-84, our room was totally quiet, well heated in the cold weather, and comfortable bed, fluffy towels, fabulous breakfast choices. We stayed two nights and were totally satisfied with the rate and amenities. I had planned to swim, but there were several others swimming, so I chose not to. We were able to drive to restaurants and the movies in a short time, and even shopped at Costco, a few miles away, before we headed home.
For spending $100 a night I expected more out of a hotel. Could have stayed at the Hampton Inn Downtown for the similar price with a much better experience. Room was dirty: Housekeeping is lacking. Loud: walls and floors are paper thin. The room above us either was housing a doggy daycare, football team, or dance troupe. Honestly, I think they had dogs up there. The crazy running back and forth all night definitely sounded like dogs with the zoomies. So much for a quiet getaway for some good sleep…cuz that definitely didn't happen. You can hear every door close…slam, every footstep, every person coming down the hall, EVERYTHING!!! Lighting: the bedside lighting didn't work. There literally wasn't a switch. Weird, I know. I checked all over even called the front desk and they came to help and were bewildered too. Bathroom: smallest bathroom ever. It's nearly impossible to walk into the bathroom and actually close the door. If you have any mobility issues at all…and I mean at all, even the smallest amount, like old joints, getting in and out of this bathroom around the toilet and the door will be nearly impossible. Trying to manage small kids in the bathroom was a nightmare. Parking: good lighting for safety Road noise: nearly zero road noise for being so close to the freeway and Meridian Rd. Won't stay here again.
What was done? We requested a different room. No emergency personnel were called to check out us or the room. I should have been suspicious when the only info in the room was a small card that had a QR code for info online (TV use, etc) on one side and carbon monoxide warnings and symptoms on the other side. I asked myself WHY? I found out the answer out that night.
Every time we had to ask anyone for something they were so nice, never seemed annoyed, and accommodated us very quickly. It was such a nice change to have nice employees. Even though breakfast was over at 9, they let late families come in to eat.
great experience. service was excellent, overall great stay. price was right. Had a great time in the pool and hot tub. Breakfast was always replenished when items were running low. Friendly people encountered.
The staff was accommodating pleasant, and helped when you needed help. One thing that wasn't the best. Parking sucks, right next to another hotel. Lots of restaurants within walking, shopping within walking. BW company needs to work with the area that is right next to the hotel to be able to accommodate anyone travelling with trailers or moving Van's.
Had to spend two nights in Meridian, so a friend suggested this Best Western Plus. Very easy to get to, just north of exit 44. Check in was fine. Friendly staff. Room was very clean, everything in the room worked. Bathroom had an old fashioned tub. Noted some water damage on adjacent wall, but nothing too terrible. Called the front desk for a wake up call, no answere. I tried again later and left one for 6 am. Never received the call. Breakfast was okay...The usual pasteries, fruit, cerak, do it yourself waffles, scrambled eggs and sausages. The juice dispenser said orange was out of order, so just apple. On second day while waiting in the lobby, I heard desk clerk tell customer that there was no maid service, so I asked for two fresh towels and shampoo. Left a wake up call while at the front desk...I did receive a call, but at 4am!!. Not six as requested. The breakfast the seconds day was the same. They were out of Apple juice, I saw the attendant replace the bag. I noticed they had containers of Orange juice available, so I wonder why they just didn't put orange in the "apple" side, and Just stick a note on the dispenser. That way, people could have had orange...after all, it is more popular than apple.I Another plus about the hotel, ..it is within walking distance of several restaurants as well as a supermarket. No need to drive anywhere. And despite its lication, it was very quiet. PThe parking lot was crowded but we'll lit.
I don't believe you could stay at a better place for the money. Staff was great, room was great, breakfast was outstanding. The woman who was serving breakfast was five star plus. Staff were concerned with my health and safety.
Best Western Plus in Meridian is conveniently located to shopping and restaurants. you can also get on the freeway to anywhere in the Treasure Valley very quickly. The motel also has great amenities--full breakfast, pool, hot tub and fitness room--and the staff is very friendly, helpful and efficient. Great room, great stay and great rate!
When I flipped back the bed covers, I noticed a very strong urine smell. I pulled off all the bedding to discover a large urine soaked stain on the mattress in room 105. Very disgusting and I couldn't stand the smell. I immediately called the front desk, and did get moved into a new room. Very inconvenient since we were so tired from traveling and had to pack up our stuff and move.
The room was clean and nice with DirectTV service. They have full breakfast included with waffles. My only negative is the highway close by noise. Turned the AC fan on to constant and slept great then. Reasonable rates too compared to Boise.
Bathroom was filthy with mold around the faucets and tiles on the tub, very outdated. Hot breakfast was non existent. Children jumping up and down until 11:00pm in the room above us. Room was very expensive!
My wife and I stay at Best Westerns because of their reward program and also because they are consistently clean, nice, friendly and comfortable places to stay. This particular one checked off all of the boxes. It is conveniently located right off the freeway. There are several places to eat withing walking distance and whole lot if you want to take a short drive. The place was clean and the bed was comfortable. I will stay here again the next time I am through the area.
Everything was great. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. They were much cleaner than other hotels we've stayed at and we appreciate that. Every team member we encountered was friendly and provide quick service. I didn't catch his name, but one young man helped me with my laundry. The washer's coin tray was stuck so he washed and dried my laundry with the hotel's machines and had it waiting at the front desk for me. Very cool!
The tub was dirty and had brown stains had black mold in the tub/ shower and didn't work properly had dog Barking across the hall along with kids screaming it was just an overall bad experience I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone I would suggest you find another place to stay
So disappointed in this property! We were looking forward to a nice night away and ended up disappointed. The room seemed nice at first, until I went into the bathroom! The jetted tub was filthy and the tile surrounding it was moldy and just plain gross. My hubby and I were so disgusted and disappointed. We changed rooms. Thankfully the new room was cleaner.
I am a Best Western diamond member and visit a lot of Best Western motels. This property was not the best I have stayed at and not the worst. I put it right in the middle as average. The check in was fast but the clerk was not overly friendly, did not offer me express check out and did not thank me for being a diamond member. Many properties will offer bottled water or snacks plus a thank you. The bed was a bit firm for my taste but semi comfortable. It was a quiet room and everything worked fine. When it came time for checkout at around 7:30 am there was no one around. I waited along with another gentleman for 10 minutes. I finally had to leave since I had a deadline to meet. Since I was not offered express checkout, it bit me since I needed a receipt. They did send me an e-receipt at least. Overall score would have been better if the clerks had been more attentive.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds are very commfortable, and rate per night was reasonable. I enjoyed the pool and soaking in the hot tub. Very relaxing. All areas of the hotel were very clean.
Front desk provided outstanding service! Room was great! Everything was great! I would probably update the look and furniture, and i know COVID is going on but making sure rooms are stocked on toilet paper, towels, etc. would be great! Overall amazing stay!
Upon arrival, the hotel lobby was empty with no front desk attendant, only a phone number to call for service. Not a good way to greet a guest who has just traveled 700 miles and has a dead phone. Had to track down a passerby to borrow a phone. Someone finally answered after multiple calls and then behaved as if I had just interrupted something far more important than checking in a guest. I expect more from Best Western.
This easy access location from I-84 was staffed by helpful friendly people. The rooms are reasonable in size, well laid out, and quiet. Not a honeymoon location, but for the business traveler, or the no-fluff and stuff traveler, it really can't be beat.
This was an economical trip so I decided on this hotel. It was a good stay, certainly nothing fancy. It was clean, quiet and adequate. The breakfast is minimal and no extra frills but for this trip it worked fine.
This place will steal your money and call you a lier!!!!! I stayed here in the beginning of October for 2 nights. I was to be charged 281.86 with my aaa discount. They charged my card 308.86. A 27 dollar overcharge. After saying in email that they made a mistake taking the discount off and will refund the money nothing has changed. It's December now and no refund. Most of the time my responses to this location go ignored and when I get third party's involved their story changes to reflect different dates of the refund. They just dodge the mounds of evidence I have sent them. The manager has called me lier on several occasions yet I'm the one with mounds of evidence!!!! Don't ever stay at this place!!!! I'd rather sleep in my car then have a hotel steal from me
The Covid-19 breakfast special was even worse than what I had in West Yellowstone. You get to pick up a small paper bag. What was in there: bottled water, banana, small nutri grain bar and some type of miniature cake. What kind of breakfast is that? special diet. The access to the refrigerator was denied. There was only one elevator so if you were the unlucky one furthest away from the elevator- you walked
I had a nice large room and everything worked. It was nice and clean although with the new cleaning measures the disinfectant smell is a little potent. They still are doing the grab and go breakfast bags. Not impressed with that. I still want a hot breakfast for the price paid.
Overall this was a nice hotel to stay at. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean, and it was in a good location for our visit to the Waterpark. My only complaint would be that's it's a little cramped and dated. The bathroom is tiny and I've been in other best western that were much nicer. I've come to expect more from this chain. But as I said overall it was a good stay.
Initially our stay was not pleasant! We walk into our room and it is humid, stuffy, and rancid. It felt like the room was shampooed and closed up. The smell was definitely from a pet! I asked the front desk for some fragrance spray and they gave me a can, then offered to discount my room. I hoped if we aired it out, the smell would go away. I tried to sleep through the first night, but could not get past the ammonia smell from a pet's urine. The next morning, my husband went to the front desk and asked if we could move because the smell was so horrible. Luckily they had a deluxe suite available and we were able to move. The moment I walked into our new room, I was welcomed with a very pleasant scent. The room was extremely spacious and clean. It made our stay so nice the rest of our 2 additional nights. The front desk went beyond our expectations. They were helpful when we had questions, never made us feel anything but welcomed throughout our stay. The pool was nice. The hotel is centrally located, especially if you are wanting to go to the Waterpark!!!
We've been staying in Best Western hotels lately and so far every one has been a good experience. The lobby here seems a bit smaller than some of the others but that didn't affect out stay. Easy access from the 84 freeway, lots of stores in the area (Starbucks!). Room was clean and everything worked (TV, A/C, Microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker). Easy check in and out. If we had to stay in the area again we would be happy staying here.
We stayed two nights for a wedding. This Best Western Plus was NOT up to standard at all. With the COVID and recent reopening of Idaho, we really expected better of our hotel. Our room had multiple issues: dried urine around back of toilet, shower rod pulled out from the wall so much that we had to use the door to prop it up, a constant wet spot in carpet around refrigerator cabinet, a live spider in a web near the bed, the floor in our closet was filthy, basically all the carpet smelled and felt nasty. Wouldn't you think the staff would have taken the time off during COVID to really do some deep cleaning and maintenance?? The carpets in the hallway were dirty too, we never saw them clean or being cleaned in the two days we were there. We should have asked for a refund. Won't be staying here again.
I have become a big fan of the BW Premiers and Plus over the last few years. the Meridian property was very clean and great stay over hotel. The room was huge and very comfortable. They need to improve the entry and lobby, it feels very baron and not welcoming. The staff were great thought and very welcoming. Another issue I have with some of the BW properties and this one included is that the there is no room between the toilet and the door. In the future design take 8-10 feet out somewhere and make it so you don't have to wedge yourself between the john and sink or shower. Overall still a great stay and we will stay here again on another trip.
First impressions : no help at desk , a barrier of shelves between the desk and where you can stand - Had to go get my phone out of the car and call the number to get the desk clerk , I almost left , but had already paid and was too late to cancel - Got a Jacuzzi room , most of the controls were broken off , wall paper peeling , light over tub didn't work - Bed was fine , slept pretty well - And I guess with the Virus , I'll give them a pass .. Oh , and breakfast was a bag with bottle of water , a store bought pastry , a Nice bar and a banana , and I don't like bananas!
This was my first time staying here and it definitely will not be my last. I stayed in a king suite and I had plenty of room and was very clean. The bed was comfortable and to be the most important thing is it was very quiet. The desk and chair were comfortable and I was able to get some work done. Breakfast in the morning was better than most properties that are similar to this. Bacon and eggs and biscuits and gravy. They also had plenty of other options. I interacted with probably five or six of the employees at all were extremely helpful and seemed happy with their jobs, which is very important in hospitality. Kudos to the management here.
I've been traveling to the Boise area off and in over the past five plus years. For the past year or so, this has been my go to hotel.. staff is amazing. Now my home away from home on the West side of Idaho
From all appearances this is a small obscure hotel--but the room, breakfast, hot tub and pool were all exceptional. We had an enjoyable overnight stay and appreciated a good night's rest. The check-in was quick (we used the pre-check in process). Everything was easy going, clean, and nice.
This was a good hotel. We had a two queen bed suite. The beds were in one room with a door separating it from the other room with a couch, wet bar, microwave and refrigerator. The bathroom was small and the internet was slow. Check in was nice.
Clean well run hotel in their chain. Good friendly staff and right next to the freeway which made it easy to get in and out of Boise and the other places I needed to get to over four days. There's a Shari's and Micky D's right next door and a little 50's diner that you can see right next door. Everything you need is right there.
Thank you for your professional kindness and clean room. Great experience and awesome night's rest. The pool was a lot of fun and clean safe area. We enjoyed the breakfast, hot and again, clean. The sever even offered to serve past the hours provided as we visited with family.
We arrived and everything was as promised. We got a bottom floor room as requested and the room was clean and roomy.Staff was polite and helpful whenever needed. I will be staying everytime I visit Meridian in the next few months.
We were in town to attend a wedding. The staff was polite and helpful during our stay. The front desk staff was very accommodating allowed us in our room a bit early to change for the wedding! We were very happy with our stay. We will stay there again.
I am a Best Western member, and have great experiences in Washington State with Best Westerns, but am someone with bad asthma. I was shocked and disappointed to smell the "plug ins" as soon as I walked in--the cheap, sweet icky smell that's supposed to disguised "odors." There is one in the dining room, which made it impossible for me. I will not stay here again, unless they get rid of them.
Great location, very clean, and affordable. Everything you might need is right there in the area( stores, restaurants, etc.). Easy on/off the interstate 84(East/West). Check out this Best Western Plus of Meridian when your in town next time, you be glad you did.
This place is great! Room layout (queen, suite) was just perfect. I'm up at 4, spouse not til 7, so love how the bed is behind partial wall. Sitting area has lots of space with a large desk. Your could have a dance in this area. I don't know why you would, but you could:) Bathroom had light, real light, so rare in hotels!! Spacious counter, shower shelves to put stuff on & a washcloth bar, good shower head, plenty of hot water. Super clean. Toiletries were a lovely citrus. Front desk guy (don't know his name, but from Oakhurst) was beyond friendly/helpful, even came up to room to help with TV. The breakfast had anything you could want, good, hot, clean area. All these things may seem like no brainers, but we've stayed in tons of hotels all over the world & often I'm amazed at the things designers think work. Anyway, this place works, perfect stay!!
The major problem with our handicapped room was the telephone did not work. This could be a major problem if a guest did not have a cell phone and needed help with something. The room was clean but the lack of telephone for contacting the front desk was a pain.,
Clean room and very reasonably room rate. Breakfast was better than most free breakfast provided. Super fast internet and Staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel. It also had extremely easy freeway access.
We are Best Western Rewards members and stay at Best Westerns whenever it is reasonable to do so. As usual, the hot breakfast buffet was good, and helped get us off to a good start on our day. We were on a return trip from Utah, and had stayed at another Best Western in Boise on the way down, which was adequate but nothing to write home about, and the beds were too soft for our liking, so decided to try this one on our return trip. The gentleman who checked us in was courteous and gave us our check-in points, AND a "goodie bag." (We are usually given a choice of one). He also gave us an upgraded room (with a jetted hot tub) without an extra charge or a request from us. The price of the room was substantially less than the one we had at the other BW the week prior in Boise (for the same night). The bed was comfortable, and I can't thing of anything else we would have wanted for a one-night stay.
Breakfast staff was awesome! The maid service was not, they actually refused to clean our room. When asked how our stay was at check out, I told him that it wasn't that great. His response was ok, and didn't ask why or how to make it better.
We were visiting family and we appreciated coming back to a clean, quiet room. We enjoyed breakfast every morning and thought the staff was friendly and helpful. When we return to visit grandkids again, we will definitely stay at this hotel.
The outside of this hotel is deceiving. It looks like a plain old place with nothing special to offer, but it's quite nice inside. Definitely exudes that BW vibe. The front desk staff were very nice and went out of their way to make us feel welcome there. We stayed two nights and did have an issue with wet carpet in the room. They were filled to capacity so we could not move to a different roo m so we were given a fan. It took a few hours for that carpet to dry, but it was worth it to be located directly across from the pool.
Mostly was great. One of the mornings after we stayed the garbage was not emptied and toilet paper not filled. The other mornings were fine though. TV remote didn't work right but the hotel was nice and worked for what we needed. Nice that it accepts pets too.
Located about twenty minutes from the centre of Boise, this hotel lies two minutes from the interstate where a clean comfortable room awaits. Friendly and courteous welcome from the front desk and a great complimentary breakfast makes this a prime stop if your in the area.
At least for us it was. Nothing fancy but very clean, good amenities and a great staff. And centrally located to the whole Boise Valley, Wahooz amusement center, the Speedway, and lots of good eateries (especially Goodwood Barbecue). Our family had a weekend reunion, and with several members 80-plus in years it was such a blessing to be able to use the generous cafeteria area as a meeting place with a/c. The general manager and front desk crew all went above and beyond to accommodate us on multiple occasions. Thanks, and major kudos to all of you. What a great experience!
Would stay here again. Store, restaurants, gas, wahooz.... lots of things very close. Fun indoor pool. All housekeeping staff was great. Breakfast needs more gluten free options. Best Western plus is becoming a favorite for us!
Good location, easy to find. Clean and updated. Room was adequate and comfortable. Friendly staff. Quick and convenient check in and check out. Breakfast was plentiful and stocked well. We would stay again if needed!
The room was large and clean and very quite. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The indoor pool was well maintained and very enjoyable. Easy drive to the airport.. Easy access to the freeway I-84 and not far from nice restaurants.
This is an older building, but everything is very clean. The people were great, if you had a question, they were right there to answer. The breakfast was good, typical hotel breakfast, but the staff was on top of things and ensured the areas were clean and well stocked. I would return.
Very good motel. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Hot breakfast served and was the usual fare but a real good choice of the various breakfast foods. Dining area is larger than many I've stayed in. Price was a bit high but I was in town for a major event at Firebird Raceway and it was the middle of summer and tourist season. I'd stay there again !
We chose this Best Western due to it's proximity to the Firebird Raceway in Idaho. The event was long each day, so we did not take advantage of the breakfast; however, the breakfast room was larger than usual and very nicely set up. It was clean and nicely decorated.
This motel is run the way I believe every Best Western property should be. Fast, super friendly check in, a spotless room and a decent continental breakfast, with a speedy efficient checkout afterward. Congratulations to the staff...I travel a ton and stay at a lot of BW properties. This one gets it right!
they care about every person that comes through the doors, the property is clean and the staff are wonderful, if you have a problem they take care of it right away The breakfast is very good and I like the coffee in the rooms, have been staying here for years and every time I come to Meridian, ID. I won't stay any where else....THANK YOU FOR A JOB WELL DONE
Place was packed both days and never heard any noise or others tv shower etc. got a suite as visiting with family and there was plenty of room for everyone. Comfortable bed and nice hot water in the shower
Great Location. Comfortable Room. The Desk Chair sat too low, requiring 3 Pillows to sit at the proper height to use the Desk. Like many Hotels, the DARK FURNISHINGS MAKE IT DIFFICULT TO SEE. AND, THE POOR LIGHTING LAY OUT DID NOT HELP EITHER!!
This is a very nice Hotel. It was very quiet at night even though we were next to Meridian Ave. The breakfast was very good which included biscuits and gravy, bacon and scrambled eggs. The staff was very friendly.
This is a decent, reasonably clean hotel. No hotel is perfect so never expect perfection and you won't be disappointed. The room was good sized, but the bathroom was pretty small. Had to stand on one side of the toilet or the other to close the door. But everything worked. The breakfast room was large and breakfast included things like eggs, sausage, gravy, breads & pastries, muffins, waffle machine, fruit, yogurt, juice, cereal & milk, coffee & tea. The staff was pleasant and efficient. We would stay here again without a second thought.
Hotel was very clean and customer service was amazing!! There were high school groups in there and we didn't even know it. The kids had a great time in the very clean pool while we enjoyed the hot tub.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to make use of the amenities while I stayed, but when I was in the hotel, everything was clean, everything was open and it was a very pleasant stay. I was able to check in when I arrived super early! I was very appreciative to freshen up after a long drive. Housekeeping was exceptional. The room was cleaned well, and the daily service was always done by the time I returned to the hotel, everything was restocked and clean.
Not good if you have a dog. No outside access from your room. Place is comfy, but dated. Located near a Sharis restaurant and McDonalds for food. Room was large, but the bathroom was tiny. Breakfast was good, with a variety.
This lodging is near major roads and intersections. Easy to get in and out. Shopping and dining nearby. The breakfast offers very little for folks who cannot eat wheat. We walked across the parking lot to Shari's Diner. The room was clean and facility was well maintained. The bathroom was tiny! Glad to have a nightlight in the bathroom!!! Staff were friendly and helpful. Tub in our room had a good non-slip surface that was effective. I HATE slippery tubs!!!!! They really need disabled placard parking and a ramp in the lot closest to the door by the elevator!
Great location and easy access to the freeway and other business establishments in the area, especially if building/buying a house on the west side of town. Some eateries near by, Home Depot and race track. Typical hotel breakfast, Lobby very appealing. Room was clean, comfortable, quiet and plenty of space.
My family and I arrived around 7 pm to check in and when we walked in the lobby there was nobody at the front desk, instead there was a phone with a note that said to dial "301" for assistance. I picked up the phone and dialed 301 and we heard a phone ring in the back office (where there was no one there) and it rang...and rang...and rang. after waiting in the lobby for 10 minutes with my family (3 rambunctious kids hyper from sitting in the car all day and all our luggage in tow) a lady (not in uniform) finally came to the front desk with a phone in her hand and laughed about her assistance phone being dead. (She said that she was assisting another guest and didn't realize the phone she had with her for the front desk was dead) When she checked us in, she asked for photo ID and Credit Card, which we provided, however when checking my credit card, she said that the card I gave her was not the card we had booked with. For a brief moment, I was confused and thought maybe I had given her a different card than the one I booked with, however she said "the card you booked with ends in 3009, this one that you gave me ends in different numbers." I knew that I had given her the correct card and after some back and forth about my card, she finally showed me the card I had given her and I moved her thumb to reveal the last four digits of my card ending in 3009! She laughed and said that she wasn't looking past the master card logo and apologized and finished checking us in. She did tell us that pool and hot tub hours however she told us that the hot tub was out of order. Something my family and I were really looking forward to using. I considered this to be a service failure on the hotels part for not letting us know in advance that their hot tub was out of order. We would have booked with another Best Western, had we had this information. The beds are hard and we barely slept due to being extremely uncomfortable and we every time the room next to ours used the toilet or shower, we heard it very loudly in our room, throughout the night. Breakfast was mediocre, scrambled eggs were runny although there was a nice variety of food. The man at the front desk in the morning was very pleasant and welcoming when we checked out. He asked if we wanted a receipt and thanked us for staying. He was the only pleasant part of our stay.
This was a nice hotel. The check in clerk, Amanda, was very nice and quick at taking care of us. As we are Platinum Members in the Best Western rewards program, she offered us an upgrade to a suite. It was a very nice room with a separate living room area. There was a small issue at check out as they had charged us the rate for the larger room but it was quickly resolved and a refund of the difference was issued. The breakfast was not very good as the eggs were in a heated buffet dish but they were cold. They also had the usual yogurt, pastries, waffles, and sausage.
This was probably our ninth stay at this property and we've never been disappointed. It is a standard Best Western hotel with large, comfortable rooms. When we stayed here last fall, the hotel offered an additional 500 points for not having the room cleaned when we stayed for several days. Although that particular promotion was no longer available, it is worth asking about. Typical hotel breakfast is available.
I stay here at least once a year. The rooms are clean and quiet. The staff is very friendly and helpful. In these areas I rate a 5. Overall a 4 because I am unable to access my email, or go online in general, using their wifi
Since our kids had a houseful, we decided to stay in a local motel and we are happy we picked this Best Western. Everything about our stay was outstanding. The staff is friendly and helpful and the room was super clean, We will definitely stay here again.
First room had an unpleasant odor. We were promptly provided with a different room. The second room was odor free but it was visually apparent it had not been vacuumed. There was food scraps in places on the carpet. Was not comfortable to walk on without shoes or slippers
I had a late check-in after a late flight into Boise. The front desk was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and pleasant. My stay was quiet. Grocery store within walking distance. The weekday breakfast was a standard full breakfast with juices, coffee and some warm food choices. More than sweets but not elaborate. I would definately stay here again while traveling.
Came in after an 8 hour drive and business meeting that ran super late. The front desk was understanding and accommodating. She set me up for a late departure and wakeup call. The room was inviting and the bed as comfortable as it looked. Breakfast was a little lacking for a guest with gluten allergies but I had a cup of coffee and a couple of pieces of sausage.Overall- great service and value and quality.I've already pre-booked for my next meeting later this month.
Nice room, but amenities were barely useable due to small size. Food was very salty with poor variety. It matters who the owners are. Some are generous, others are parsimonious. This does not rate a Best Western Plus by any stretch of the imagination. Maybe a minus. Its really hit or miss when it comes to these independently owned hotels.
We enjoyed our stay here. It started with a nice crew and a room that was all we could ask for considering our needs. This place is in a great location for travelers & road warrior types being close to the interstate (still quiet) several great restaurants and shopping. I would recommend this hotel to anyone even those traveling with children & pets.
We were looking for a place to relax and get some rest after a very full work week. This place was awesome. Great property. Staff were very helpful. The pool and hot tub setting is very relaxing. It is close to restaurants and a grocery store. Seemed like a safe area. Rooms are so comfortable and roomy. Very nice!
Nice quiet and clean BW. Very easy to find as it's right near the Meridian off ramp from Hwy84. We arrived after dark and it was easy to spot. The hotel manager makes sure your stay was pleasurable.. We will stay here again when we are in the area.
We tried to stay at the Super 8 in Boise but they were full so the clerk made a reservation for us at this Best Western Plus but did not tell us the name of the motel, we assumed it was another Super 8 and after much looking we inquired and found this place which had a hot tub that did not work, no power to it but the breakfast was nice.
The Meridian Best Western was a great value and excellent, well maintained facility. The staff was very courteous and accommodating. Enjoyed our stay, we were passing through Idaho on a family road trip vacation. I would recommend staying at this hotel, pool, hot tub, breakfast, room were all great.
We stayed at this hotel for a few days while in the area. It was clean and comfortable and the staff very friendly and accommodating. Good breakfast and other services. The hotel is located within easy reach of Rte. 84 and there are restaurants close by. We liked this place enough to book another stay here in September. A good value.
Our room smelled like urine and a wet dog. The bedding was dirty and when we asked for it to be changed they changed the sheet but left the filthy bed skirt on. We had tucked the corner of the skirt up under the mattress so as to not have to LOOK at it until it was changed and they untucked it and left the dirty one on the bed. GROSS! Beds drooped and clearly needed to be flipped and rotated. Don't stay here!
This hotel was conveniently located to shopping and dining. The facility was fairly new and in great shape. Our room was comfortable and the staff was very nice. The full breakfast was good and had a nice variety of hot and cold foods.
I wanted to check in and waited patiently for the guy in front of me who insisted on getting room even though his was not cleaned yet. They gave him mine, so I could not check in, but was able to leave my luggage and return about 3 hours later to find that they upgraded me to a suite. It is a very nice place, good service, great breakfast, beautiful pool, and very nice and clean rooms. I really appreciated the friendly staff.
OMG! The person at the front desk said they were having plumbing problems. The smell of raw sewage was overpowering on the first floor even with the front doors propped open. Fortunately we were on the second floor and the stench didn't travel up there. But at the end of our first day, just arriving from the east coast, that was my first impression of Idaho. Needless to say we didn't try the breakfast in the lobby the next morning and left at 0630. I don't remember much about the room as I couldn't get passed the sewage smell. I'm a “clean freak” so this was really just awful! Hopefully they fixed the problem.
After driving 11 hours from Vancouver to Boise i was unable to find a place to stay due to a basketball tournament so all places were booked from meridian to boise except best western had one room left. Checked in & the front desk staff (Ashley & i forgot the other guys name but he was very passionate about fish) was very helpful on things to do in Boise, even pull out a map and marked everything out for me, also pointed me out to the nearest place to grab a beer and the fastest route to Vegas.. Rooms were clean & breakfast was great. Will definitely be staying here again on my next road trip through Idaho. Cheers
I see someone else complimented Alex. I also was assisted by Alex, though had a bit different experience. I am hoping my situation was unique. I will say that if you are using Best Western Travel Cards, be diligent and you may want to keep a copy of them, as well as ask them to show you their records of what they entered. Below is a bit more detail about my stay and some issues we faced. This reservation was unorthodox and we experienced difficulties and now I am going rounds with Best Western customer service trying to get what should be a very simple issue fixed. I live close to Meridian and had $100 in travel cards from Best Western that needed to be used before they expired. We decided to have a staycation at a local hotel over the holiday weekend. We thought it would be fun and my kids could swim. When we arrived, I presented the travel cards and was told they would be applied; they weren't, though I'll get to that soon. The room seemed decent. We went to swim and quickly decided to abandon that idea because of how busy it was and no supervision, even though the swim area has cameras, no one came to calm things down. So all the older kids and adults jumping off the sides and landing on my small children was just too much to handle. The hotel was busy and loud so we actually decided not to stay and went home. When we returned the next morning, things were quieter, so we decided to swim again. It was close to check out, so I went to the front desk to ask for extra time. I was told I had until noon. That was when I was given my bill and noticed no travel cards had been applied. They found a list, though not the emails I originally supplied. The amount was still wrong. I asked for a copy so I could match it up to my records and address the issue later. At 11:40, so we didn't take too much advantage, we went back to the room to change. We were glared at by housekeeping and quickly found out why as not very long after we started changing, someone from the font desk showed up and told us we could not be in the room because it was already cleaned. And this was the same person who told me I had until noon. I don't believe the room had been cleaned as my wife said our wet towels from the day before were still in the bathtub. The housekeeping person argued with us. We just decided to leave. I still have not had all my travel cards applied, even after supplying Best Western customer service with the emails showing I had $100 and the list from the hotel showing they only credited $60. This was a very strange stay and the difficulties are not over.
Wonderful hotel stay with comfortable guest amenities. Staff friendly and hotel clean. Only downsize was the unhealthy biscuits and gravy at breakfast. Only other hot breakfast choice was a waffle. Would have liked to see a healthier breakfast option.
Front desk agent Alex was very friendly and professional. Our room was clean, the breakfast was nutritious. Thank You Alex will recommend to others. Even the housekeeping staff was friendly and the breakfast staff very accommodating.
I would not call this Best Western a destination spot if you r looking for a resort type stay. But, we needed a place in Meridian and a hotel that took pets. Not too many choices. Good news, if traveling to Meridian it's close to freeway, it's clean, the staff is very kind and helpful. It lacks ambience, but provides comfort and a good complimentary breakfast in the morning. Plus we were given a room with a jacuzzi in the room. Reminded me of Las Vegas. My husbands' back was bothering him from the long drive so he decided to check it out. He was pleasantly delighted. Downside for dog owners there is very little area for pets to do business and it's back in a corner. Parking is awkward as everyone tries to park on one side of the building as there is no direct entrance to rooms on the backside of hotel. With only two handicap spots available it made parking difficult. We were constantly having to get new keys. Sometimes twice a day. And, their WiFi is unsecured and barely worked.
The hotel was clean, good location, caring staff. The check-in early feature was convenient and so was receiving our final statement via email. Breakfast was included and the dining area was clean and well stocked
If you are a fan of Best Western Hotels, this property will not disappoint. Staff is friendly and willing to answer any questions you may have, and the room was very clean. As BW members (if you aren't already a member - join! Points don't ever expire!) our room was upgraded to a jacuzzi suite. Kind of fun having a tub for two in the middle of the bedroom. Breakfast is standard hotel fare.
Barking dog in nearby room kept us away. 2 calls to front desk failed to resolve issue. In the middle of the night, alarm goes off. TWICE. And 3 more times on battery backup after I unplug it. Couldn't shut it off in the dark with 13 buttons on it. Thin walls, heard running water and people walking around. Could have gotten more rest sleeping in my car in a truck stop for free....
This stay started out well. Nice hotel, friendly staff, nicely appointed room. We had dinner at the Curb--very good! The evening went downhill with a dog whining for its owners while they were gone to dinner. That happens, except the walls have absolutely no soundproofing and we could hear every whimper. After a call to the front desk the clerk promised to call the room. No phone call because we definitely would have heard! About 4 a.m. the alarm went off, obviously set by the previous occupant, but with all those buttons it rang 5 times before we could get the damn thing shut off. Then upstairs we could hear the occupants, who were also awakened by the alarm, get up and pee. We could hear every drop. Housekeeping should shut off every alarm while cleaning rooms! We will never stay there again.
great continental breakfast , lots of choices. love the bathroom nightlight. breakfast included service help, hot food pancakes and waffles, almond milk chiboni yougart. lots of fresh fruit , enough tables for all to enjoy
Great location and great place to stay. Easy access to freeway and nice surrounding places to shop and eat. I would stay here again if I need a place to stay in Meridian. Friendly staff and wonderful breakfast! Thank you
We came to pick up a new RV at an RV dealership right across the street from the hotel. It was a very convenient location easy-to-access off the highway, the room was comfy and quiet and the staff were extremely helpful. We were able to have a wonderful hot breakfast in the morning before we headed across the street to pick up our RV. We will stay here again.
Very average hotel, staff was friendly though. The breakfast lady kept things well stocked up. I went to get coffee and the thermos was empty, she heard the gurgle and quickly refilled it. We would stay there again.
Had a great 3 day stay. The beds are fairly firm. The pool could have been warmer. But overall, the hotel, room and employees were wonderful. We are late sleepers so never ate at the breakfast. We were always able to get fresh coffee.
The staff at checkin and check out, were quick with their job and did it with a smile! Great customer service! Our family would totally stay again in the near-future! The breakfast attendant was fabulous! She kept all food neatly filled and it was the same for each of the mornings we were there--thank you!
We stayed in the double queen suite. The room has a nice sitting area that can be closed off from the bedroom area. Each area includes a large TV. The breakfast provided a good variety of options. We will be staying here again.
We travel across the country on many occasions; however, it was our 1st time at this Best Western in Idaho. The young lady that checked us in was very helpful with everything and all of our concerns.....to us that is a plus because we do NOT always get that type of check-in experience. Everything at this Best Western was as we expect! It was right on!!!! That is saying a lot from us because we actually should be critiquers of motels as we travel. We know what we like and what we expect and make notes of the pros and cons.
The rooms were nice but the tv remote didn't work unless it was right by the tv. The card keys would only work once or twice before having to be taken back to the lobby to be reprogrammed. There was only one person working the lobby so had to wait my turn to get card fixed to get back in my room. I kept the card key in a separate pocket away from other cards/cell phone, etc..
This is a great place to stay. Best Westerns are predictably neat and clean and the staff is friendly and efficient. Yest, our room was clean. We slept very well and awakened to a delicious breakfast. We appreciate the warm welcome if the staff and the friendliness of the breakfast staff. It makes our night and our day more pleasant.
We love this place. We will definitely stay here again. Breakfast was great and it was awesome that they had breakfast items that did not contain pork. Loved the grapefruit slices they offered. The beds were really comfortable. We slept wonderfully! Location was great. It was close to all of the places we needed to go.
Nice room. Comfortable beds. Strong internet. Accommodating staff. Breakfast room was crowded during busy times. No channel help for the tv - only HBO. Showers could use grab bars for seniors or those needing support.
We were just passing through and needed a place to crash for the night. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The tv was very large and probably new. The room was quiet and clean and the breakfast was much better than expected.
I was in Meridian for a funeral and stayed at B.W. it is along interstate 84 and very convienant to everything you need or want the only drawback was the remote control to the t.v. didn't work the entire time I was there and for a hotel like this watching tele vision is important it needs to be addressed other than that I enjoyed my stay
This was our second visit to this hotel and we were so happy to use our Best Western points. All of the hotel staff is wonderfully friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and quiet. Since the hotel is conveniently located, we will definitely be back.
good price, friendly folks and decent breakfast. we got in early after a LONG flight, and had been up for more then 24 hours. The guy said once they had a clean room they let us in early and were able to take a nap long before we were even supposed to be able to check in. they are now our go to place when in that area. THANK YOU
Stayed here due to a nearby training that began early. Room was pricier than I would have liked, but I experienced no problems. Bed was reasonably comfortable, room was clean, employees were nice. Breakfast was decent, wish I would have had more time to sit down and eat.
I would recommend this hotel highly. The staff was friendly and efficient and made the check-in/check out process very easy. The breakfast selection was varied and the food quite good, I would not hesitate to stay here again. The staff made helpful suggestions about dining and interesting things to do and see in the Boise area.
Professional staff, has a full breakfast, nice indoor pool and Jacuzzi, comfortable beds, easily accessed from I 84 freeway. Nicely kept grounds. Parking is a little bit limited. We always Choose a best Western Hotel if we can.
This is a very nice place to stay. I stayed two nights. The staff was courteous. The breakfast was good. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. No complaints here. Great location. Will come back. Had stayed away from Best Western for a long time.
Fairly nice place, clean and convenient to freeway (I-84) and nearby amenities. Breakfast is pretty motel standard. Property seems a little dated, but, again, clean. Beds were okay. Parking is a bit challenged and tight.
No bath mats, tub extremely slippery Had to use bath towel to keep from falling. Very strong room deodorizer pumped into room and front desk did not know how to turn it off but thought I might be able to stand on one of the swivel chairs to see if it could be turned off at an air vent
Great place to stay...service was excellent, beds comfortable and the breakfast was perfect. Check in and out was very easy and the staff very friendly. Will stop here again on our travels because of the location.
We stayed there for one night during September. Thank goodness it was just for one night. Behind the reception desk was a proud display of a cleanliness rating but as it turned out we have no idea how the hotel achieved this. Along the corridor to our room the carpets were very stained and had not been vacuumed. On the face of it our room looked clean. One of us was feeling quite ill and had to get to bed pretty quickly so we had to stay and spend the night. If this had not been the case we would have checked out immediately. Evening the bedding smelled! We were up at 5.30 the next morning and couldn't wait to leave. Once saving grace were the staff. Both the reception staff and the breakfast staff were extremely pleasant.
Trying to check in and get the cheapest price, I was on their web page and talking to the employee, she couldn't offer me what i was viewing. No biggie. The room was great. Breakfast was good too. Clean and comfortable. A little slow on the internet, but agajn, not my top concern. We were pleased.
Come down to Meridian twice a year to race, always stay at the BW... excellent rooms, service and staff. Close to track, shopping and eats. Call direct and get a special racers rate. Rooms are spacious, beds and pillows comfy. We find the folks in Meridian to be the friendliest people in the US.
double charged for room. plumbing issues so they attemped to move us - moved 3 times, locked out of room several times, no closed caption for my hearing disabled spouse and the staff just made excuses
Very Clean room and excellent service at Breakfast and some of the food choices are a bit different than other Best Westerns and that's a plus, They seem to know how important customer service is. This is easily one of the nicer Best Westerns in the Boise/Meridian areas.
Clean comfortable and peaceful room and hotel. The staff were very kind and professional and the hotel was quiet and peaceful. I had an excellent night of rest. The location was great with easy on and off the freeway access as well as a variety of places to eat within walking distance.
Stayed a night here on the way to the Oregon coast. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was a little on the small side. One thing I didn't like was the square pillows but that's minor. Breakfast was included and was very tasty. I would stay again.
This is one of the better BW hotels we have stayed at. Although the hotel is situated very near a freeway we did not experience any noise issues in our room. Hotel room was also very clean and welcoming
We booked this hotel through our credit card rewards program, choosing it since it was one of the few options we had that offered a 2 room suite. The reviews looked good and the pictures seemed to show a pleasant place to stay. We were a little taken aback when we arrived, as the exterior of the hotel is very non-descript. In fact, the Motel 6 next door looked nicer from the outside. Our hotel offered no views due to its location, but was close to a Winco store, several fast food chain restaurants and was close to I-84. Entering the hotel, you will find the interior mostly up to date and very clean. It was the same for our room. There was a sitting area outdoors located next to the inside pool, but this sitting area was surrounded by a 6 foot tall stockade fence, and felt a bit claustrophobic. The staff was friendly and helpful, the only snafu was that they missed cleaning our room one day out of the 5 days we were there.
This facility is right off the freeway in Meridian. Close to everything. Going to Boise, this is the place. This is one of those secrets that makes a Boise trip better. Great Value dollar wise for those that are out doing things and just want a place to sleep.
I used to stay at this hotel on business from the time it was built until around 2003. Then my business area changed, but it has always been one of my favorite places to stay. Now I am retired and had the opportunity to visit here once again. It has maintained the quality of service and amenities that I remember so I was not disappointed at all.
We flew into Boise, late at night, and this hotel was close to the junction of HWY 55 where we were heading north the next morning. It is just a few miles from the airport, off I 84. Easy on and off the Freeway.
We stayed here two nights for the solar eclipse. The hotel was pleasant enough, but looked a bit tired in places. Our bathroom sink didn't drain very quickly for example. Other than that, the room was OK (but the hotel's setting left a bit to be desired; not the hotel's fault I realise!). The dining options within walking distance are very limited (but check out the pies at the restaurant just across the street!), but there are many within a short drive. Also, kids big and small will have fun at the nearby water park! So, a comfortable hotel with reasonable facilities.
We stayed here during the Total Eclipse of the sun, when rooms were scarce. Our stay here was very nice with helpful and friendly staff. The room was clean. The breakfast above normal with omelets, bacon, Greek yogurt and waffles. The suites create a space where one spouse can read while the other sleeps.
nails poking through floor wifi not working being ignored talked to like im a dummy. even after continuing to ask for maintenance and ignored then my 3 year old step on the nails again making her foot bleed and her crying wanting a band-aid, the worst best western experience ever.
The room was clean and very comfortable. The staff was friendly at check-in and check-out. Good breakfast. Good amenities in room, i.e. refrigerator, microwave, toiletries. I would definitely stay here again when in the area.
We had a comfortable room on the second floor. Not problems with noise. Bathroom was a tight fit, so just have to be aware of what or who is in there. Parking was convenient, and a breakfast in the morning got us on the road for the day.
As a teacher,(my husband is a health-care provider) I always look forward to a week-long vacation with my family in the summertime. We drive from Portland to a Lake in Idaho where we enjoy a week of much-needed relaxation. We normally stay at the Best Western Vista in near the Boise Airport, but chose the Best Western Plus in Meridian this time. We are rewards members and find Best Westerns are convenient, reasonably priced, and serve a lite breakfast. This particular hotel also has a pool which is nice in the mornings, after a long drive, the night before. Now, on to the negative, DISGUSTING part of the trip... As the last person into bed after a midnight arrival, I turned all the lights off and climbed into the bed for some much-needed rest. Imagine the HORROR in the morning, (7:30-ish) when I woke up and found a disgusting sheet below me, with a 4-5 inch in diameter stain with someone's leftover bodily fluids and an accompanying spot of crusty black/brown stuff on the blanket above. I was sick to my stomach, and got up, showered, and then found the housekeeper in the hallway to show her what was on the bed. The housekeeper acknowledged how gross it was, and said she was glad it wasn't her room to clean the day before. She suggested I go to the front desk, which of course, I was already planning to do. The front desk girl looked sweet, but was obviously trained to stall and to brush off the types of situations, as she acted like I was the one with the problem, and was totally nonchalant, about the incident. The manager wouldn't be in "for two days," and I was out of luck. I asked for the head housekeeper, and she stated that she "double-checks all the sheets," and I must be mistaken. Seriously, they think this is super fun for me...So, I showed them the pictures from the bed that I had taken, as the head housekeeper offered a weak apology. So, I then asked for the manager's email, phone info, etc. I have emailed, called, etc., with no response from the manger. The employees are, obviously, well-trained on how to extinguish customer complaints and manager responsibility.... just don't respond at all!! : / I know it can be hard for some people to admit fault and to make a situation right, when you believe you do a great job with everything, but when you fail to acknowledge an issue, you can't correct it within house, and this is a hospitality industry! It is bad form in every way... dirty room, bad service, and ignoring problems. Due to a lack of response, I filed a formal complaint with Best Western Corporate to get any type of response from the manager. The manager said he would do nothing, and offered no apology. Thank goodness, the corporate office was professional, apologetic, and understanding, and seemed embarrassed by the manager's response. They offered me enough points on my rewards for a free night of stay on another upcoming travel. In all of my many years of travel, I have never encountered such DISGUSTING ACCOMMODATIONS , and POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE from a hotel, and that is saying something, as I worked for a hotel chain many years ago while in college, and usually stay 5-15 nights in a hotel each year. My recommendation is to stay at the Best Western near the airport, or choose another hotel, since there are so many others to choose from in the area. Imagine what you can't see that is left on bedding from lazy, or under-trained house-keepers, AND poor management. The motto for this hotel should be, "What you don't know, won't hurt you. We don't care, anyway!!"
I would recommend this hotel if you are staying in the Boise area. Very nice hotel. Quiet and clean. Close to freeway, shopping, and restaurants. Nice pool and spa and served a large breakfast. The only negative would be the room was a little stuffy at nighttime.
For the price and location this is a great place to stay. The staff was friendly and the rooms clean. This hotel has breakfast, but we never used it. There is a lot of restaurants close by and we wanted to try them. This is hotel is right off Hwy 84 and easy access off and on. We stayed 3 nights and used the indoor pool and hot tub.
Rooms very nice, usual BW quality. Clean, comfortable, and quiet. Lots of breakfast items, though I didn't eat. The parking lot is kind of tight , especially when hotel is full! Right off freeway, easy on and off, across the street from H.Depot, and Winco if you need any supplies.
We had a great hotel experience. The room was very clean and cozy, and the beds were VERY comfortable. The Complimentary breakfast was fantastic- lots of hot and cold food choices!!! Friendly staff at the front desk. Would highly recommend it
this is one of my favorite hotels to stay at when we are traveling through, They treat us right and let us keep our motorcycles under cover. The staff are friendly and helpful. They go out of the way to make you comfortable. If you are coming through and need a place to stay, give this hotel a try, you won't be disappointed.
This was a very comfortable hotel. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was very good. It was close to where we needed to be. It was close to restaurants and a gas station. The pool and spa were very inviting and they were indoors.
Last minute business trip to Boise left me needing a hotel. Best Western was not my LAST choice. It was my first call and they were great to get me a room I loved and some much needed rest. I will be back for sure.
I always feel like I am as close to being at home as possible when we stay here. We spend most of our Best Western stays at this particular BW as it is close to doctors and shopping. Great location. Even thought it is close to the freeway, you do not hear the freeway noise which is nice. Enjoyable.
CLEAN, FRIENDLY, GREAT BED, QUIET! Plenty of hot water in the shower. Easy access to other businesses. Plentiful breakfast bar (eggs, fruit, oatmeal, waffles, etc.). Laundry facility clean and all machines working! Highly recommend this facility and next time we're in the area this is where we will stay!! Enjoy!
The starting of our family vacation. Room was clean and hotel staff very helpful when we had cooling system was not working so all taken care of. The breakfast Buffett was good and warm we will use this hotel agian
Our stay was wonderful. Very clean rooms including lobby, breakfast room and lobby bathroom. With good selection for breakfast the room was full. Such a wonderful staff and we were treated special by all staff.
The hotel itself is great as long as you do not care how long it takes to get checked in or how terrible and unfriendly the service is at check-in...There is a Win-Co supermarket across the road so that you can stack up on necessary items. Moreover, there are plenty of fast food places around.
This is a very conveniently located hotel when we have meetings in Meridian for our Eastern Star Chapter and the Masonic Lodge when we were on the way to Pendleton, OR, our other destinations. All of the employees are friendly and helpful when you need things. The breakfast was very good with a lot of variety.
Needed a place to hang out with my grandkids. This took care of that. Bathroom was a little small. Room was clean except God brown stain on sheet in One of the beds. Breakfast could have more options as far as fresh fruit.
We needed a really comfortable, relaxing stop for our last night on the road and this facility provided exactly that. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable amenities and a full breakfast. It was what we needed.
I was attending my closest friend's funeral so I did not have a lot of time to spend in town. The staff was friendly, the reservation was exactly as I requested, and the amenities were as expected. Although a pool was available, I didn't have time to use it. However, I used the Internet to take care of business, and it worked well. The location is accessible to the Interstate and major surface roads as well as local restaurants. A very good location and value for the money. This location offered a military/government discount, which was greatly appreciated by this retired veteran.
Super clean rooms and friendly and helpful staff. Ask for a discount if you do not like the first price quoted as they are very flexible. I would recommend this BW to anyone I know. It is safe and a great value. I look forward to staying again! Join the rewards program if you haven't already...even more perks with it. Love love love this hotel when we stay in the Boise area!!!
clean and quiet large room, location at center of city, breakfast served in continental style was the best. Pool ,Internet and staff were all excellent. Sheets were changed every day if requested and large bathroom. 24hr coffee in the room plus a microwave and small refrigerator.
This is the fourth Best Western that I have stayed at this year. Consistent high quality and great service. The complimentary breakfast is a REAL breakfast. The rooms are consistently clean and well maintained. Never a surprise!
Best western great hotel. Pleasant staff. Most bang for your buck!!! I would recommend this hotel. Great location. My sister lives in Meridian and we visit frequently. The staff is great. Food and lots to do close.
I would either stop before Meridian or keep on going. If you are looking for a quality breakfast or service then this is not the place. But if that doesn't bother you then is BestWestern as fare as the rooms go is great.
Stayed overnight for a grandson's High School Graduation. Clean comfortable room and staff. Our go to is a Best Western. Great breakfast too. I loved the sausage gravy over my eggs. Thanks for a great stay.
Best Western is the best place to stay when traveling in the US. Employees are excellent at their job and are friendly and courteous. Rooms are always clean and comfortable. Employee are knowledgeable about their city and can assist in directions to locations you want to go.
I would definitely stay here again. Very handy to everything in Meridian I needed to do. About a 15-20 mionute drive to downtown Boise. Very clean and spacious King room with a huge bath. It may have been an ADA room, hence the the big bathroom. Nice indoor pool, and a spa which I took advantage of. The bed was a little firm for my taste, but I slept well. Surprisingly quiet being right next to a a four lane expressway and Home Depot. Didn't hear any neighbors through the walls or door either, and the motel was pretty full. Didn't hear a thing actually, and slept very soundly. The free breakfast was slightly below average, but edible. Very nice and helpful staff. Room was spotless. I recommend it.
new facility with excellent décor and friendly staff. The price is not cheap but also not outrageous. Pool was well maintained and not crowed. Enjoyable stay and we will stay again. Convenient location for food, shopping and entertainment.
Unlike most Best Westerns we have stayed at, there were no pet free rooms. Fortunately we were placed in a room the "seldom" has pets and my allergies were not too bad. We went with this BW because we were tired from a long drive and didn't want to start looking for another pet free hotel.
The room was clean and the linens were fresh but the wallpaper in the bathroom was starting to peel and revealed mold growing on the wall. In addition the bathroom had an ancient jetted bathtub. The bed was adequate but the food served on the breakfast buffet was unimpressive, powdered eggs and gummy overcooked oatmeal.
This is our third annual visit and each year we are glad for our stay. The rooms and bed are comfortable and we enjoyed the breakfast. A new off leash dog park is only a ten minute walk, near the water tower.
The decor was dated and dark, which made the first impression a bit sad. HOWEVER, the room was clean the staff helpful and the location ideal. The people truly make the difference at this hotel. The location is ideal if you are using exit 44 off the interstate- easy on and off.
Wife and i stayed at the Rama Inn for an enjoyable long weekend. The hotel staff, especially the housekeepers were very helpful and friendly. My wife requested that no air freshener be used in our room. This request was honored without question. Our room was clean and quiet, especially for such a busy location. Only negative comment is that the decor is a bit dark and dated. All in all, a nice motel.
Room was clean and well kept, the staff was friendly and helpful, the amenities, breakfast and pool with Jacuzzi, were all in great shape and I was well cared for on my stay. The wireless internet was fast and easy to connect. It was close to everything you need and still quiet.
The staff, especially Erica were very helpful, courteous and friendly. Our rooms were clean spacious and accommodating. Nice indoor pool and Jacuzzi provided fun for the kids and adults during our stay. Breakfast was nice and included some eggs and sausage.
Nice pet-friendly hotel. The room was clean. The bed and pillows were soooo comfy! I even soaked in the bathtub, which I never do in a hotel. Easy to find, a gas station nearby, and easy to get back on I-84
Everything was perfect. We were greeted at the front desk by a very friendly gal. She told us all about the pool, and the full breakfast included in the morning. Our room was lovely and clean. The pool was fabulous and we would highly recommend this place!
We stayed at this hotel as we were visiting Boise State and it was far more reasonably priced than the hotels in Downtown Boise. The hotel was clean, close to restaurants, gas stations, grocery stores, and everything else that you need. 15 minute drive to downtown Boise and Boise State. They were very accomodating when we booked a second night and requested to stay in our same room.
There are good restaurants and low priced grocery store nearby. Easy access to all parts of ID and OR north and south and east and west. Will stay again whenever in the area. Been very impressed with best western hotel
Love the staff, love the large pool and hot tub. Rooms are clean and comfy. We usually stay at this hotel for an overnight staycation. I have two kids with birthdays in the late Fall and early Spring. It is too cold to go swimming outside, so we rent a room and take advantage of this nice indoor pool. We will stay here at least twice a year for a weekend getaway.
Desk staff was friendly and efficient. My room was clean, comfortable, and nicely appointed. Bed was comfortable and nicely presented on arrival. Only small issue: when the lights on each side of the bed were replaced at some point, they didn't bother to fill the holes from the old light fixtures. Otherwise, good value for the money. Oh..... breakfast was on par with other continental breakfasts in the same price range.
We stopped in for one night on our way north. This is an excellent hotel. Our room was spacious and clean. The pool and spa were very nice. Breakfast was excellent -- a great selection of oatmeal, omelets, waffles, pancakes, toast, fruit, yogurt and cereal. Can't go wrong with all of that to choose from. We stayed in a double queen suite and had a little sitting room off the main bedroom. Great for privacy if one of your party likes to stay up late.
The room was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable. The internet worked well and there were no interruptions of service. The room had a microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker as well as a TV. The amenities in the bathroom were good and the towels were fluffy and nice. The breakfast was typical except for the addition of cooked oatmeal and bananas and yogurt. The only down side was that the toilet was obviously plugged when we got there - we wondered why the staff hadn't noticed that when cleaning the toilet from the last guest.
We reserved the king room with the jetted tub. I called the hotel to make the reservation. When we checked in we found the room was a queen suite, no tub. We had to wait to move to the room the next day. The staff made sure the room was cleaned early so we could move in right away, The tub was nice, but the buttons had been broken with use and we had to put our fingers in the hole to start the jets. Overall nice stay.
My husband and I drove out from Seattle to see family for the weekend. This hotel is perfectly located between Nampa and Boise, and right off the freeway. The room was clean and adequate for the trip. My husband didn't like the mattress as much as some of the other Best Westerns we've stayed in recently, and there was a dog barking in the middle of the night followed by the owner yelling. We didn't wake up in time to enjoy breakfast, but it looked like they put out plenty of options for guests that did.
Always happy to stay at this Best Western hotel. Staff are always friendly and helpful. One of the best free breakfast's I've been to. Beds and pillows are comfortable. Easy access to freeway and stores. We look forward to staying here again.
Thank you for such a welcoming and accommodating hotel staff. The stay was enjoyable. This trip was a family event. The hotel was located in a convenient area providing a timely availability to destinations during our stay. It is a relief to have a hotel that accommodates needs of the large group that met at this hotel to stay at the hotel for the weekend. We arrived and were met with positive attention and left being thanked for staying at this hotel.
Going through the area, just needed a place to land for the night. Room large, clean and tastefully decorated. Pool and whirlpool was a nice perk. Quiet. Good breakfast before we hit the road. Friendly staff. Ample area to walk the dog around. Close to expressway, close to restaurants and shopping.
We have stayed here in the past. It is conveniently located for visiting all our family as well as for the wedding we attended. Several restaurants are close. Typical breakfast food. There is a pool and fitness room although we did not utilize either. Staff as usual was great. Pets are allowed, so although we do not have one, I did get my dog fix.
The hotel was clean and everyone was friendly and helpful. We were extremely happy with the staff and all personnel. Friendly, professional and willing to help in any way. Made our trip pleasant and restful.
The last thing I want to hear or see in the morning is fox "news. "Why not put on local news and not offend 50% of your visitors? Also the decaffeinated coffee was cold the oatmeal was cold. Otherwise, great room and super location. Not returning unless manager promises to switch stations.
Stayed one night on a road trip going through Eastern Oregon into the Nampa/Meridian area. Our room was clean and cool (it was hot outside), and the attendant at the lobby was very accommodating to help us get some plates, plastic utensils, and other items since we got in late and had to bring our dinner in with us. Offered us juice and coffee and took time to help us. Good customer service that was appreciated. Easy access off of the freeway, and close to Winco to pick up some supplies and food. Will stay there again.
Easy location and a great bed. Quiet even though you are in close proximity to a freeway. Lots of eateries around this hotel and better ones not to far away. We chose to go to a local brew pub 15 minutes away. good value for the price.
Planned a family road trip with the dog and this place was great. The dog had a great time and the facility was very accommodating for all of us. If we drive to ID again we'll be returning to this Best Western. Our room was pretty much above the lobby so we didn't hear any freeway or road noise. The AC was excellent for the hot days. The breakfast was enough to get us out the door. Although we had a pet-friendly room, it did not stink at all.
The beds were very comfortable and clean. The pool was clean and warm. Employees were very friendly and helpful. Great location but we didn't hear the freeway. Tons of places to eat and my granddaughters had a ball in the pool.
We stayed on the way to Crater Lake in Oregon. We discovered after booking that a fairly new water park was within a mile of the hotel which offers a family slide night. Great discovery! We had a blast! The hotel is nice and clean. We slept very well. Thankyou to the staff for a great job.
We loved our stay at this hotel! Lady at the counter was so sweet and extremely helpful! Room was GREAT, very convenient location and quiet. Nice Red Robin not far, but lots to eat right by hotel. Would recommend to everyone!
Very nice stay! "Nimesh" at the front desk was THE most professional hotelier I have ever seen! Fantastic! Pool has a fence around it, but is right out front by the road; we didn't use it. Otherwise, everything was great; a true "Oaisis". :) Breakfast was big and had an attendant, which was very nice!
This was are first time here and we will be back. Everyone was so helpful, nice, and professional. Our room was amazing, the beds were comfortable and very very clean. The pool and breakfast were great with lots of choices. Family friendly. Would highly recommend.
This was the worst Best Western I have ever stayed out. Patio was cluttered with boxes and patio furniture strewn about in a very small area. Bathroom was disgusting and unclean. Requested upper level room several days prior to arrival do to a four night stay only to receive a room next to the laundry facility, very noisy. Beds were uncomfortable to sleep in. Overall cleanliness of the hotel was very disappointing. Only plus that it was close to freeway access and within walking distance to stores. Minimum amount of restaurants nearby to choose from.
This BW hotel is OK, only if your are staying one night. If your plans require a multiple night stay, like ours did, find another hotel in the Meridian ID area. We encountered the following issues: 1. The tub and toilet were not cleaned daily. 2. The empty Kleenex Box was not replaced. 3. The empty toilet paper roll was not replaced. 4. The almost used up soap was not replaced. 5. The sheets were not changed. 6. The trash containers were never emptied. When we spoke to Maria , the Housekeeping Manager, we were told that she was not allowed to enter the room, per the Hotels rules, as long as we were staying there. In my view, this rule precluded her from any quality control or oversight of her employee. Even after Maria entered the room to rectify the issues, with us being in the room, subsequent nights still had the same issues.
This is a very conveniently located hotel for auto travelers. It is right off of the freeway and has many food outlets close by. There is a major grocery store right across the street and a car wash a block away. The staff is very attentive and made sure we were satisfied. The room was very nice and clean but showed a little age.
Always excellent. Always stay at this property when in town and will continue in the future. The staff knows us well and it is more like visiting family when we come to stay. We will not be staying anywhere else.
The beds were horrible, the staff was very helpful. The location was excellent, just adjacent to the freeway. All kinds of stores and food nearby. Very easy access for travelers. Breakfast was just average, no surprises.
Second time staying here after a long bike ride. Motel is reasonably priced and rooms are clean and large. Staff was friendly and helpful. Provided breakfast is usual fair. Is within walking distance of several restaurants.
We had problems from the start with a Priceline billing snafu. The hotel managers worked round the clock to rectify and finally did so to our satisfaction. The property itself is located right off a very busy interstate intersection. In spite of this our room was quiet, comfortable, and very convenient to our destinations for day trips in the area. All hotel staff was pleasant and efficient including the maids. Breakfast was nicely done for middle of the road chain hotel.
The AC didn't work in the room and no attempts were apparently made to try to get it fixed while we were staying there so we could have a comfortable night's sleep the second night. Bring your own Toilet Paper and Tissues if you have sensitive skin. Hotel was booked so we couldn't switch rooms.
Nice property, good clean rooms, excellent hot water pressure, good access to local community. We thought the 'free' breakfast was only so-so, especially for a Best Western Plus property, and the internet was painfully slow.
The rooms were clean and the bedding was fresh. the heat was working. The staff was especially helpful. It is in a very good location with many restaurants close by. The continental breakfast was typical but plenty of choice. I would definitely stay there again
This motel is very handy to all the Boise area and is very clean and quiet. Very nice staff. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The motel is quiet even with it's proximity to the frewway.I would definitely stay there again.
This hotel has a great location in meridian, close to the water park and race track. Rooms are nicely appointed with ref, microwaves and coffee makers. Room was clean quiet and they have an awesome breakfast.
This was a great motel with all the amenities we needed, breakfast was good, easy access to freeway and location of our point of interest for our trip. Clean room and breakfast area. Pool was great. Close to other restaurants. Would stay here again.
It was a warm day, the always were cool but our room wasn't. The air conditioning wasn't work properly and made our stay uncomfortable. The hotel was booked so we couldn't check into a different room. Also, being late on a Friday afternoon we didn't anticipate a quick repair. We brought the situation to the attention of the staff at checkout and our bill was revised accordingly. Also, the Wi-Fi wasn't working properly.
Stayed here for one night after two long days of driving with another day to go. Found the room to be clean and well-equipped. One king-sized bed in a large room left us lots of space to spread out in. Although it was close to a busy road and a freeway, it was dead silent in the room. A large flat screen TV made TV watching a pleasure, although there was only one easy chair to sit in. (The other person had to make do with the desk chair.) Breakfast was OK, with pre-made cheese omelets, oatmeal, make your own waffles, and various cold items. The breakfast room was large and there were newspapers for everyone. I wouldn't call the price a bargain (over $100), but I would definitely stay here again if I was driving through Meridian and ready to stop for the night.
Loved my room, was traveling with friends and had my own room, it was wonderful! Quiet, clean, cozy, just perfect for traveling alone, friends where next door so felt safer than normal. Watched a little tv, drank a glass of wine, now off to sleep for me, should be a great few days! Will definitely stay here again! Great coffee bar too
Very nice Motel for the price. But the wireless internet was terrible. Hard to log on. The Beds were nice, but bring you own pillow. I would stay here again, I just hope they update their Internet. The breakfast was just average.
We loved this hotel. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious with comfy beds. Breakfast was fantastic and had a lot of options. We'll be back for sure and we'd recommend this hotel to anyone.
The hotel was clean and had a very reasonable rate. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was a little dated with a very old Jacuzzi type tub. It had a lot of hard water staining and looked like rust in the jets. Fortunately we only used the shower. Other than this we were pleased with the room. The breakfast, reception areas were very nice and inviting. The breakfast was very good with a large selection of foods from hot and cold cereals, eggs, bacon, waffles, pastries and breads for toast. They had a large pool and spa area that looked inviting although we did not enjoy it on this stay. We will stay at this hotel again when we visit the area.
Friendly accommodating staff. Conveniently located to services and recreational opportunities that a family might find valuable during a out of town business or pleasure stay? Found it to be easy to find with minimal surface road traffic facilitating minimal impact to our ongoing travel route.
We had a 2nd story room with a King & a Hot tub. Very quiet and relaxing. VERY CLEAN. I love that they don't have bedspreads, just a decorative slip to go over the sheets. this illuminates the creepy germ-y feeling I sometimes get in a hotel when you know they aren't washing the bedspreads on a regular basis. The Breakfast bar is FABULOUS! Hot waffles, scrabbled eggs, bacon, sausage, in addition to the regular, muffins, bagels, cereal, etc.
Very nice stay, quiet, friendly, helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms. Best Western's pet policy is particularly nice and appreciated by those of us with two dogs. The only drawback was no nearby grass area for pets and no quality restaurant within walking distance.
It only takes one incident to upset a stay. The front desk did not follow the rules regarding swimming pool hours. I was emphatically told the pool closed at 10 to my "brown" grand children. A few minutes later she allowed about 20 "white" girls from a basketball team with their chaperones enter the swimming area. I told my girls, get your suits on "we're going swimming!" The front desk clerk was very unprofessional.
I take my grandchildren to this hotel for a swimming slumber party during winter months for them to swim and play in the water and enjoy a night away from home in a hotel. They love this location and breakfast.
Nice room and very comfortable bed and pillows. Front entrance needs some work. Easy access on and off interstate and several places to eat. Very friendly staff. Will stay here again next time I'm in the Boise, Idaho area.
I was very pleased with the quality of the facility and the friendliness of the staff. The breakfast was tasty and provided several hot items including scrambled eggs and bacon, and biscuits and gravy and waffles. I will go here again when I travel through this area.
This is a Best Western plus property. Pretty unassuming looking from the outside and since it shares a parking lot with a Motel 6 it can be deceiving when trying to figure out which I'd which. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Check-in was a breeze. Only two floors so easy to get around. For a hotel right off of a major freeway it was extremely quiet. The room was a nice size with microwave and fridge. The bed was really comfortable and we slept well. TV worked great. Being a Plus hotel breakfast was served in the mornings as a part of the room stay. However, standard fare. Biscuits and gravy was cold and had to heat in the microwave. Breakfast was suppose to start at 6 am but not everything was put out until about 6:25 am. All in all a pleasant stay so far.
I'm not so sure how the rating system works, but I'm rating this one a 5 considering motels in this price league. It ain't the Ritz Carlton, but it definitely rates excellent for this category of motels. We rented three rooms initially, and then got down to one room for the last couple nights. Location is very good, and there are a number of places to dine in walking distance. Front desk people were especially helpful and friendly. Nice lobby as has been pointed out. There are two PCs and monitors set up, along with a printer. The room was quite spacious, and nicely equipped with a frige and microwave. Another reviewer complained about a hard bed. I like firm beds, so this was a plus for me. Lighting is good. Although it doesn't have central heating, the heater unit is one of the quietest I've ever heard, and it worked very well. Bathroom is modern, and shower is very nice. There's plenty of work space in the bathroom; I just hate those Motel 6 size counter tops. One of the kids used the indoor pool and loved it. WiFi worked well, and was pretty fast. The free buffet breakfast was definitely above average with a very nice variety of food. It was well staffed, with an attendant replacing items that either were low, or had run out. We were here for four nights, so we had a lot of stuff. When we were loading up to leave, one of the stuff offered to help take stuff down for us. That really amazed me. That's the kind of thing that hooks me on returning here on our next trip.
The hotel was nice from the outside, and lobby was about the same. But the staff were very nice and helpful during check in. I have a bad back so we got the Jacuzzi sweet. The Jacuzzi worked great and the room a clean and surprisingly nice. I was very happy with everything up until bed time. The mattress was very very firm. Sadly I very little sleep. The breakfast buffet was good. I had absolutely no issues with that at all.
Staff here is the best you are going to find. Always a pleasure to stay here. I almost don't want to rate this so high as there have been times I have had to stay elsewhere as their rooms are all gone. You will do well to check this one out first..
As we had stayed in a Best Western (Inn at the Meadows) in Portland Or. and had a very pleasant stay we thought it only made sense to stay again at a Best Western. That's how we ended up staying at the Best Western in Meridian Id. We were not disappointed at all. From the time we checked in to when we checked out the staff were attentive and courteous. the hotel was very clean and the room very comfortable and the expense was very affordable. Thanks to helping us make the best of an unplanned stay.
This is a handy location for us because we have a relative in the area and it is centrally located to shopping. Even though we were distressed over no reservation recorded, the staff strived to make our stay pleasant. This was the second incident for us at this site. We will return and hopefully, staff taking reservations will be more attentive.
All the amenities were fine until the hot tub broke and took too much time to repair. The breakfast was the usual: some meat (bacon or sausage, eggs, toast, pastries, pancakes cold cereal and juices. The beds were comfortable and the HVAC system worked fine. I'll stay here again.
Great value for money, friendly staff, Great Area rooms very clean includes breakfast, staff was very accommodating to us I would stay there again. I would recommend for anyone staying in the area. Also Pet friendly which is a plus.
We have stayed at Best Western Rama before. The only complaint is that the new back door they installed still doesn't work with the key if it's cold outside. Both of our visits have been in the winter months.
The Rama Inn is very comfortable, well decorated and has a very friendly and helpful staff. We love the swimming pool and the delicious breakfast. The wifi signal works well. We will always stay at the Rama Inn when visiting family in Meridian.
Easy access to I84. Near Winco, Home Depot and eating establishments. Although it is in the center of active streets and surrounded by businesses, we were able to rest comfortably. The rooms were quiet. I had reserved a room for two nights and discovered that I was in the system for only one night. This has happened twice at two separate Best Western locations which makes me wonder whether the reservation system is complicated.
Front desk person greeted me at the door; very pleasant and welcoming. She and housekeeping worked extra to allow me to check in early. Room clean, bed great. Excellent stay. Would definitely stay again. Room was quiet even though adjacent to busy street and freeway.
I am a Best Western person. I stay often all over the place. Usually they are reasonably priced and the Plus versions are usually a little more upgraded. Truth of it is that I was unimpressed by this hotel. Front desk person looked uninterested and never recognized or greeted the 2 people waiting in line behind us. Oh, and we were not recognized either as we waited in line. The hotel needs a little TLC. It's not terrible but not what I call updated. Room was ok, A/C needed a little boost because it was not doing the trick but we could not open the window due to the NASCAR races just down the road. Price was ok. Breakfast was ok. Bed was ok. If you are looking for a place to sleep and don't care about grounds, updates, happy staff, etc, then this property will do. But with so many options around, I probably wont return.
Overall the stay was great. it is very close to stores and food. The room was quite even though a busy road is near by. I found the room to be clean. The only thing I was a little disappointed in was the bed was a bit too hard for me. For that reason, I didn't sleep well.
We have stayed a several hotels during our trip to Oregon to relocate. I have to look for pet friendly. Some hotels we stayed at were not desired, but pet friendly. My wife and I liked this hotel. It didn't smell when we entered the building or the room. The room was clean and very nicely decorated. We decided that Best Western is trying to keep up with the more expensive hotel and doing a good job.
This hotel is clean, quiet, and has a good breakfast. The king bed room was spacious. There is an indoor pool and a quest laundry if you need one. The parking is somewhat limited, if you have a trailer, I am not sure you will find a place to park. The staff was professional and courteous. The breakfast was well stocked by the attendant. When you compare the prices of others in the area this place is an excellent value.
loved is place will stay again and again! very clean and comfy.very friendly staff,i really liked all the security! close to a lot of restaurants/bars. you should give this place a try!!!!! me and my wife enjoyed our time here and cant wait till we come back
The Hotel was clean and nice and the staff was friendly and so helpful. The pool was clean and they even had a guest laundry. The breakfast was good and they switched some items each day. The room was spacious and nice.
Very clean, friendly staff. Nice rooms and extremely comfortable beds. Close to the freeway, but did not hear traffic noise at all. The best restaurants are within a mile or two drive. Highly recommend Mi Casa Mexican Restaurant in Meridian -- don't let looks fool you -- the food at Mi Casa is EXCELLENT!
