Best Western Inn & Suites of Macon

Their app states this is a “recently renovated” hotel. When entering the lobby it smells like old stale cigarette smoke but was told this is a no smoking hotel. The odor continues as you walk down the hallway but fades toward the end. The room we reserved smelled musty. That is not healthy ! We chose not to stay.

My family and I were traveling to Florida and made a one night reservation to stay at the Best Western Inn & Suites of Macon. Upon checking in the room smelled like urine and mold. There was a large black mold spot on the ceiling of the room. The bathroom looked like it had never been cleaned. The ice machine on the first floor was turned off. We went to the office and the clerk told us there is a ice machine on the second floor. Another couple came in and asked about the ice machine and he filled up their bucket of ice for them. This was probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. We would not stay at this hotel again, it was disgusting.

Hotel just off I475. There are a few restaurants around. Lots of parking. The room was spacious and had a sitting area. All the rooms have an outside entrance. The breakfast was OK....we might have been the first ones there, so not everything was ready, but a decent selection. Good hours for breakfast.

Terrible hotel. Grungy, dirtyold carpet with several stains. Chair, old and stained. The room smelled musty, with a hint of old cigarettes. You could see light from outside coming from around the door. We were so uncomfortable we decided to leave at 2:30 AM rather than stay the whole night. This has ruined the Best Western brand for us. They should investigate this hotel because it is awful.

The location had a lot of street noise making it difficult to sleep. More disappointing was that to room was old, tired, and needed updating. The staff at the office desk was very pleasant and answered all our questions and made us feel comfortable. Unfortunately the room didn't.

This was a one night stop on the way to Florida. Room smelled funny. Very dated and run down. The tub had rust stains in it which was very unsightly. The hot tub, while hot, wasn't working properly and it seemed the staff/owners knew nothing of how a tub with jets worked (the air inlet was tightened down to the point where it couldn't be freed to allow air to the jets which would have solved their problem. If i had pliars i would have fixed it right there. The door was clumsily painted showing lack of pride in the establishment. I have stayed at best western hotels in the past and this was by far the biggest disappointment

We travel to Florida often and always stay at the Best Western hotel in Macon. Staff are great and the accommodations are excellent. We stay at Best Western when everest one is available. The Chamberlain road Macon location always provides the very best in everything. It makes our trips all the more enjoyable.

Great location on I475 in Macon. I had Room 104 which is pet friendly, nice big bathroom with door to house pets so that they can stretch their legs! Friendly staff and clean rooms - all good points! Will definitely recommend for run from Midwest to Florida! One recommendation - in any pet room, please seal all openings to under the beds which was the reason we could not allow our pets any cuddle time in the hotel room - they would have found those small openings and we would have had to tear up the beds to get them!

our usual BW to stay at while enroute to Florida. Location off I 75 is perfect for a quick entrance and getaway. I love to collect points and this is a practical way to do so when you want a good sleep, shower and an early morning breakfast

HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND. Roaches everywhere ! Coming out of the tv, in the bathroom, we booked a jetted tub room where not only the tub was filthy the jets did not work. We went down to the hot tub it was disgusting and also, jets did not work. Shower had used soap in it. After I let the host know she let me know she would give us a discount . When I get home we received a TEN DOLLAR discount after all the troubles and on top of that worrying if we're bringing roaches BACK TO OUR HOME!

My stay is always the same. I Love the atmosphere and the people. Good service and that includes being professional and kind, it goes along way. You definitely get your money's worth and the location is great right by the interstate. If your traveling and want to stop and rest it's right off the exit. I felt very safe with the security 24 hours around the clock.

It's a nice clean place traveling to Orlando from Kentucky. Nice place to eat breakfast. The front desk person was friendly. Nice fast food restaurant close by to eat dinner. Only thing is that it was a motel

Heading to FL to my sister's wedding and this was our stopping point. Front desk was super nice but the room smelled of smoke and was super dirty. Carpets had stains as well as the sofa cushions. Overall feeling was gross.

This was just one of our overnight stays on our way to South Dakota. I have to say they were very accommodating with respect to our little 10 lb. dog and breakfast. We were on our way with full bellies (including the dog) and smiles on our faces by 7:15 am. Thank you, Best Western! We will book again with you during our travels!

The room we got was SO musty and moldy smelling that I couldn't breath all night. I have asthma that it really triggered, it was an absolutely miserable night. The staff was friendly and the outside of the hotel seemed clean and nice, but it doesn't really matter if the rooms smell like mold and mildew. The carpet needs taken out and the vents cleaned to fix the awful smell in there. We got out as soon as we could the next morning.

No recommend staying here. I'm handicapped and the Desk clerk said I couldn't have a 1st floor room because they were changing the locks. No elevator, no luggage carts and worst of all no assistance from staff.

Clean, tidy hotel, good staff. Well stocked breakfast, very nicely presented and the woman looking after the area did an awesome job keeping it neat and tidy. The outside area was well kept giving a good first impression.

We stopped here at the Macon Best Western for the night while on the road to Fort Myers on the way down from Canada. Conveniently situated near the I-75, the Macon Best Western Suites was a good stop after a long day with a welcoming atmosphere and courteous front desk check-in experience. The room was very comfortable, spacious and clean. Beds were comfy along with good pillows. There also is good amenities nearby. There are plenty of good restaurants and other services within a few minutes of the hotel, so getting a meal or a drink at a nice restaurant is easily done. A free breakfast is available in the mornings, which is a nice feature of this location. The price of the hotel night is very reasonable which is a bonus!

The room was clean but dated. Staff was nice. I didn't exactly feel safe at this hotel. There were people yelling outside our room. Not sure if it was other guests or homeless ones yelling as I didn't open the door to find out. If you have trouble sleeping I would not recommend this place as you could really hear all the traffic from the highway very loudly. Breakfast was fine but nothing special.

Hotel was clean and staff was pleasant. The amenities were sparse but for the price it was great We just wanted a clean play to stay overnight while making a multiple day drive I would stay at this hotel again When drivingvto/from Fla. Good value

Breakfast was all gone by 8:45am when it doesn't end till 9:30 am. Cook was out smoking and on break. Front desk staff did not help at all. Noisy room. Although fairly clean. Very disappointed with this Best Western!!

I mistakenly booked the previous night. They were kind enough to remove that charge, which they didn't have to do. I am very grateful, and had a great stay. The staff was friendly, and the breakfast was very good too, with real eggs, sausage gravy biscuits, waffles, and more.

Bed and bathroom are clean. Breakfast could be improved. Staff are friendly and pleasant to talk to. Easy check in and out plenty of parking. Closeness to the highway makes it difficult to sleep at night because of the noise.

This was an unusual experience for a Best Western as they are usually hit or miss as to goo or bad. This one was really clean, bed comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was good with a few selections. Front staff was helpful and nice.

Was in room less than 30 mins and seen 3 roaches. Pulled family out of room. Went to front desk. He called me a liar and was very rude. Sent “maintenance” to room who was an older couple in their 80s who spoke minimal English. Showed them the roach on the carpet. Front desk was still rude and refused a refund even after seeing the roach and us being in the room less than 30 mins total. Room also had horrible smell.

Gross breakfast…never seen a hotel offer such poor quality food. Tangerines were old and dried up. Door to kitchen was open and it was disgusting. Rooms are very dated. Floors/walls paper thin. My mothers room smelled like urine.

The check in was quick and the clerk had read our note of getting a room away from 'interstate' noise. Our room was comfortable and clean. The access to the rooms is on the outside. No elevators which for us was ok since we were just an overnight stay this time (not much luggage to carry upstairs). The only complaint was the breakfast: Usually the breakfast area is well stocked and attended; however, this was by far the worse breakfast we've encountered in a Best Western. There were no jellies, no decaf coffee in urns (only instant coffee) and the eggs were well overcooked. The cereal was stocked, but low on milk. We are gold members and have had better experiences at other Best Western facilities.

Building was older but there have been some updates. Everything worked fine and was clean enough. The room was a bit loud due to being close to the interstate, but I keep the A/C fan on so it drowns the noise out ok. We like the Best Western complimentary breakfast that opens at 6 am. Overall this place was a good value.

Finding a pet friendly hotel while traveling has been hit or miss at best. This hotel was a major hit for us. Spotlessly clean and no “doggie odor”. Good breakfast, friendly staff. Highly recommend for pet friendly travels

Rented two rooms on a Wednesday night for a trip south, and then again two rooms on Friday heading back north. Rented here primarily as access to rooms are from the outside so my car was parked right outside my room door. Parking lot was well lighted, and security did not seem to be an issue. While this motel is not a 5-star hotel, I would rate it at the top of the 2-star style motels/hotels. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The beds and pillows comfortable. The staff was friendly and efficient. The morning breakfast, while typical food of 2-star hotels, the food was kept warm and plentiful, and the attendant both days did a fine job. Without hesitation I would most definitely stay here again if in the area.

The BW is fairly well kept but the location sucks....nothing but junk food around. I wouldn't stay in Macon again. Better to head into the suburbs of Atlanta where there is more good food around. Also the manager here seems to be fairly un interested in the Inn keeper business. Can't blame him after Covid. And these typical southern room designs don't allow for cross ventilation. The windows don't open. They need to start replacing the windows with ones that open.Honestly I will avoid Georgia completely next time on a road trip unless I go down I-95. Savanah is ok.

Place was clean and well kept. Pool was good hot tub was cold. Just stopped for a rest and some food while passing through. Pleasantly surprised how clean it was and comfortable. Location is right off 475. So easy on easy off. Had plenty of clean towels and coffee.

On the road for a vacation and needed a place to get some rest to split up a long drive. The room was clean and the air conditioner kept it nice and chilled all night. The beds were comfortable (maybe it was because I was so tired from a long drive, but it was the best sleep I've had in a while). The hotel and grounds are very clean and look like they are maintained pretty well. I haven't had the free breakfast yet, so I can't review that. Overall I would say it was the perfect place to get a night's rest while on the road.

The hotel is pristine and the staff is terrific. We usually stay at another chain, but BW has won us over with the clean rooms and great staff.The also allow you to pay for the room with points and money. It's a win, win situation.

No breakfast but it says full breakfast and they charged more at check in than online had stated . Room had a bad smell to it and the air conditioner took 3 hours to cool the room down so I would not recommend staying here .

The room was clean & comfortable. Disappointed with the breakfast. I booked 2 rooms through the Best Western website which stated breakfast included. When we got the hotel the desk clerk who was very nice said they are doing grab & go breakfast. Very few choices for grab & go - a couple of Honey Buns, a few containers of yogurt, a few apples, oj, apple juice & a jar for gratuities. By 7:45am it was almost gone.

We were passing through Macon and decided to try a Best Western, partly due to the more reasonable rate and, we thought, an established reputation. We didn't sign up for sharing a room with a cockroach (since we saw one, we assume there were more), a spider (same idea), and an unidentified black bug crawling on me in bed. It makes me cringe just thinking about it. The room was old and tired. The A/C unit intermittently vibrated loudly throughout the night, keeping us awake. At least we were on the first floor and didn't have to lug our heavy suitcases up a flight of stairs. The breakfast area looked as bad as the rest of the hotel so we didn't want to try it. We travel a bunch and stay in lots of hotels. This was the worst place we have stayed in many years. The "reasonable" rate was way, way too high for this place. I wouldn't stay there again even if they offered it for free.

Very clean and quiet hotel. Staff was very friendly and we had everything we needed in our room. We felt very safe. We travel with our senior cat and she was welcome with a small fee. I recommend this for anyone who is looking for a budget and pet friendly accommodation.

Booked room due to promise of full breakfast,no coffee made.room was old,smelly and stains on carpet. Morning attendant on phone,did not even acknowledge me,had to ask to make coffee.Too many other hotels.

The room was not especially clean but I thought it would be ok for my short three night stay. That changed when I awoke the second morning to find a small roach on the pillow next to the pillow from which I had just lifted my head. Needless to say I did not remain for another night. DISGUSTING EXPERIENCE. I will never again stay at a Best Western Inn.

We stopped here overnight and boy were we happy. Check in was easy, staff nice at 1:30am. We were in room 204, it was clean, the bed and pillows were great, it is a large room with king bed and a sofa. Road noise was minimal. Will stay again if needed

This hotel is ok for an overnight. It was clean and the bed was good. That's most important. It's an older hotel and needs some upgrading. The upholstered easy chair in the room looked old and dirty with grease spots. That chair just ruined it for me. Everything else was ok. Just coming off Covid restrictions, the hotel was still serving a take away continental breakfast of danish, coffee, and whole fruit. Not a good selection of restaurants near by

Best Western (Macon, GA) is easily accessible from highway. Manager was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Room was equipped with hair dryer, refrigerator, microwave, etc. Highly recommend the Best Western, Macon, GA

Easy on and off from the highway. Very clean room and it was much bigger than expected. Nice pool and hot tub area. Bed was comfortable. Pillows not so much. Breakfast is suspended due to Covid but they had a few grand and go snacks.

Many times its hard to grade chain hotels but this one was alot easier. The rate was very affordable. The staff was very quick on check in and out, along with a dedicated cleaning staff. The rooms were very roomy but also very clean. A unique thing was the microwave had two plugin's on the front of it...never seen that before. I would suggest staying here.

We got great sleep and the linens were clean, but the hallways smelled and the facility in general was outdated. Breakfast ran out, no eggs or hot meat by 9 am. They did not make more so it iwas limited to 'while supplies last'.. At almost$200 per night and advertised hot breakfast, they should have made sure to keep the food stocked.

It was an OK stop on our way home from Florida. It was our first stop on our way back to Chicago area. It was very convenient place. The hotel and area had everting we needed I.e. restaurants, gas stations and stores.

Room and utilities were very clean and up to date. Staff were courteous and friendly. Full hot breakfast was listed on their website, but a breakfast go bag was offered whit included fresh coffee and a large danish bear claw, due to COVID. Would I stay here again? Yes, fortunately Burger King was 3/10 mile on the way to the interstate, where I enjoyed a full hot breakfast.

Large, clean, quiet room, Comfortable bed, Updated TV, Refrigerator, and Microwave. Breakfast room closed. Near shopping including big box stores. Convenient location, easy access to downtown and area attractions.

Pros- clean and neat exterior, clean room, comfy beds, near interstate and fast food, pet friendly Cons- Room door leads to parking lot so there is notice, toilet had the longest flush ( not very water saver), restroom in lobby was out of order(not great at check in when you've been driving 5 hours), hot breakfast was Covid grab and go which was watery coffee, oj, and packaged pastry. We often stay at BW and have to say this did not live up to the brand. Breakfast at another BW recently was served to us by a breakfast attendant. Grab and go should have been in a bag and been a muffin or bagel, fruit or yogurt …. something more substantial considering the price we paid. Very disappointing experience. We will not return.

Stopped on our way to Florida. It was just ok. It was clean and in good repair. Toilet paper was extremely thin. I swear I could read a newspaper thought it. Not a good way for a hotel to cut corners to save money. They advertise a hot breakfast but due to Covid (they claim) they had that they call “grab and go”. It not worth the time!! It was drinks, nasty and very small rolls, cereal and apples and oranges. We chose because the has a “hot breakfast. I understand that we need to be careful because of Covid but this isn't worth the effort!! Other hotels do a lot better. Even bagels would've better. I think they are just being cheep!! Not happy

Will happily pay more to stay elsewhere in the future. The hotel was gross, grimy and smelly. The sheets were smelly and gross feeling. The towels for the shower thread bear. The place as a hole is a dump.

Every team member at this Macon BW were super friendly. The breakfast was great, with a good variety. We had a great room with a xuper comfortable bed.All the facilities were spotless & we enjoyed the stay.

We have been stopping here for years and one special lady we looked forward to seeing each time we stopped. She always remembered we were from Wisconsin. Last year we did not travel. This year when we checked in my husband asked if we would be seeing Sheryl in the morning and were informed she had died. She was such a nice person. But we did meet two super nice people, Terance and Shay. It's the staff that makes a person want to return along with a clean place to rest.

We stop at this hotel when we travel fromOrlando to North Carolina. This is a wonderful hotel for overnight stays, family, or people traveling for business. The rooms are clean, the staff is always friendly, and they have a nice breakfast selection. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Wonderful hotel to stay in on your way to Florida. It is easy to get to from I-75, quiet, clean, great staff. The bed was very comfortable, nice room set-up and restaurants close by. This hotel looks after you very wood and is quiet. The breakfast is also great!

This is a great location and wonderful staff. The general manager values the guests and their experience. The breakfast is great with eggs, meat, biscuits and gravy. The hotel is easy get to with food options located nearby and is close to the college.

Picked this hotel as Best Westerns have typically been reliable. The desk clerk was friendly and efficient, but our "non-smoking" room had a distinct, strong smoke odor. The room was generally clean but definitely well worn. The hotel offered "full breakfast" service, but there was nothing available. The hotel was somewhat full, but they were completely out of all food items and coffee.

We picked BW Macon based on reviews. Were not disappointed. Property isn't the newest, but very well maintained. Everything was clean and working. Great location right off I-475. Breakfast was very good.

We really like staying at this hotel. They have a great pet policy. It is a great place to stop as we transition between our home in the south and our home in the mid-west. We needed a hotel that would allow us to stay with our pet. They have some great pet friendly rooms. Overall this hotel is on par with Hamptons and similar but at a great price. Me and dog would highly recommend.

This is a good hotel. It is easy to get to and there is plenty of restaurants and other stores within an easy drive of the location. We were disappointed that the pool wasn't open as we specifically picked this particular hotel based on the pool. Other than that, a good stay. Would stay there again on a future trip.

This was my 4th stay at a Best Western in 4 months. The previous hotels/motels were good. This motel was old and needs some updating. The rug in our room was filthy. The modified breakfast was adequate. With a relatively low to moderate price, you get what you pay for.

The night clerk needs to be fired ASAP! The room was $115, pool closed- strike 1, clerk was unbelievably rude and basically told me that I couldn't pay (even the next day at checkout) with cash and if I didn't like it to go to another hotel that takes cash. I explained I booked with my credit card but after another BW we stayed at the clerk duped my card and we were frauded so our preferred method is at checkout to pay cash.-strike 2…the next was her smart mouth and attitude was when she had the audacity to then say to me “you look confused-what part of NO CASH are you not getting? (I'm in shock over her her whole attitude-too much to list)-strike 3, at this point is going on 1AM so I'm trying to stay so after 9 hrs on the road-get my info from her-she doesn't even tell us about breakfast, where our room is, checkout time!!! The next morning at 11:20am they ring our phone (we are rearranging our suv) to ask why we haven't checked out!!! I go down to the front desk to complain to the owner for a ton of additional things not even listed here and the am clerk said she can't give me the owners number but will pass mine to them-that was 2 days ago!

Excellent hotel, great service. Clean rooms. Bed very comfortable. Great location. Wonderful hot breakfast and very great staff. highly recommend to all friends and family. Enjoy the stay and the view.

The place was a decent price and quick stop for a road trip. Bed was hard as a rock, ideal for older people. The balconies and strangers overlooking you trying to bring your items in is kind of creepy. Noticed the fridge and bathroom wasn't as clean it could be, and hair from previous guests in the sheets. Definitely wouldn't come back, and wouldn't recommend it.

The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. They had a full breakfast. Even though though this hotel had outside corridors, it was very pleasant and quiet. Macon is in a warm area, so walking the balcony and seeing the sunset was enjoyable.

Steve and Shay have no idea how great they made our stay. Everything was neat and clean. Staff was overly helpful. When we checked out everyone was smiling, but we had a small incident after we left. Our son realized that our elf on the shelf who was back for Christmas in July was no longer with us. We had to go back and hope we could get in to our room. Our son was super upset. When we drove back Shay let us back in and made sure we found Max. The silly thing was hiding in the blankets. She saved us from many tears and a full breakdown. ❤️❤️❤️

After a hellish drive, we arrived only to be told our reservation for a pet friendly room wouldn't be honored because “they were out”. We made our reservation many days in advance. Front desk clerk was less than apologetic. Ended up having to stay somewhere twice the price.

I am skeptical of staying in hotels that have outdoor access to the rooms, but this hotel was very clean and up to date with cameras all over the building so I felt better about this property. The staff was nice and polite and cared about the guest. Only thing that was upsetting was the cold coffee at the breakfast bar. The room was nice and big. However, the team needs to make sure the shower head works properly due to it just spraying water everywhere. Other than two minor things I enjoyed my stay and will be back soon.

Decent space. Room was clean. Beds were comfy. Check in was a mess - there was a line waiting outside in the heat for nearly 20 minutes (inside closed bc of Covid) because the clerk left and put up a note. Easy access, right off 475, traffic noise was not an issue.

Check in was pleasant. Parking lot was full, spots were limited. As soon as we got to our room, opened the door, and our room had a strong odor of marijuana. I'm pretty sure Cheece and Chong stayed in this room last. The room felt sticky, high humidity, and musky. The bedding had hair on the sheets, felt moist and damped. The carpet was sticky, and there was melted candy on the floor. I let the clerk know within 15 mins of being in the room of my issues. No resolution offered, all rooms were booked. Only needed a 6-8 hour nap, so we dealt with the issues. I was traveling with my wife and kids. Didn't feel comfortable letting my kids free range the room, didn't feel clean enough. On the positive side, I tore this room apart and didn't find any bed bugs.

We were traveling cross-country, driving many hours per day with a 5 year old. We needed a hotel with an open pool...website stated pool is open but it was not open due to COVID-19. Update the website to reflect current amenities.

Smelled of smoke/weed and it was a non smoking room. Bed was adequate. No frills. Best Western but was ok for a few hours of sleep to continue our travels. Big Plus!! I called and he held the room. It was only for 15 minutes but when we arrived they were turning people away.

We were pleasantly surprised to find this hotel as nice as it was for the special mobile deal price. The room was immaculate and everything worked. Breakfast was more extensive than we expected since Covid19 has limited so many others. Good food and pleasant and helpful staff.

I was passing through on my way back home to Florida on a trip and discovered, once I returned home, that I had left my Apple I-Pad behind in the room. I immediately called the front desk and let them know what happened. They told me they would check and call me the next day, I thought for sure I would never see it again. Surprisingly enough, I got a call the next day letting me know they had my I-pad and would be happy to mail it back to me! Kudos to the hotel and staff for recovering my I-pad. It's hard to find good and honest people these days! I will certainly return there again on future trips.

This was the worst place I've ever stayed. The people in the motel hang outside the rooms yelling and smoking. We were afraid to step outside our room as the area is more than sketchy. The room had flying insects and smelled musty. There is no elevator and we informed the clerk that my husband has cancer and has difficulty climbing stairs. The kid could have cared less and told us we were upstairs. Needless to say never again!!

Check in desk associate was a nightmare. Pet friendly rooms were 100+ft from the first blade of grass. Room was old and dirty. Never got internet access. Called twice - first she denied any problem existed, then called back to tell me it had been rebooted - umm, because there was no problem? I still could not connect, called again and she was rude and not helpful. She sent the IT man to my room without asking or informing me. Just trashy, unprofessional staff and management. You will regret staying here.

For $77, including all taxes. we got a good size suite. Nice sitting area, large TV. Everything was very clean. The breakfast was very good. Biscuits and gravy, ham, breads, cereal, etc. Front desk staff were very nice. We will stay here again!

Nice clean motel. It would be better if there was more parking for being traveling with trailers. The building is well maintained and in a good location to stop over on your way to Florida. Will use again. Just not when were pulling our camper.

Like the BW Plus as they are newly renovated and quite nice. Our room was great and the price was right. They put this senior couple at the back of the hotel on the 2nd floor. Rooms had outside entrances. Neighbors had dog barking and kids running around outside. I was asked if we had animals and I said no, so they put us next door to one. Won't stay here again. Too bad. Room was great.

Stayed overnight when traveling north to Tennessee. Picked this property largely because it is pet friendly. Overall, our experience was fine, but was diminished by having to wait 15 minutes to check in (behind only one person) and then finding that most of what they listed as available for the continental breakfast was out of stock. Neither were big issues, but minor frustrations. For what we needed this property worked, and we had no complaints about the room.

Check in was extremely slow, I understand only one guest at a time in foyer(lobby was not open to public), but over 15 minutes for two guests ahead of me is too long by far. Only coffee available was in room, which I don't prefer. Breakfast "to-go" bag was a joke. The world's smallest muffin and a yogurt.

Conveniently located, close to highway and food places. Seemed to have good covid protection measures. Service was friendly and professional. Their fees for pets is very reasonable. Only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that relative to other Best Westerns, this one felt a bit older. Will definitely stay here again if in the area.

Waited outside in a long line to check in , as no one is allowed in the lobby. Our room was so cold we turned on the hair dryer and hot shower to warm it up. I don't know how it got such good reviews. Best -not so much!

Under the Covid restrictions, motel was very clean and observed all Covid protocols. Manager is always professional and accommodating. Normally the breakfast is the best in the industry but even under the current restrictions was decent with fruit and juice or coffee.

We have stayed here many times on our annual trip to Florida for the winter months. If you want frills, bells & whistles, this won't be for you. If you want clean, convenient to I-75, reasonably priced and very nice staff, think about this Best Western. Only two stories-no elevator-all access to outside.

We made last minute reservations and hotel was somewhat accommodating though they have a limited number of pet friendly rooms. One downside is there are pan handlers walking around the parking lot as we pulled in around 7:30 PM. And were coming up and asking for money while we were unloading. Also DO NOT stay in room 204. There is a door at the back of the room that looks like it leads to another room and is not sealed properly so you can see a light coming through at the top of the door. Kind of creepy

I made a reservation for a pet friendly, handicap accessible room for one night, 11/1. Had my confirmation number along with the total price (including the extra charge for our pet). When we went to check in at 4 PM I was told there was not a reservation in my name. e confirmation number didn't work either. The young man told me there were no pet friendly rooms available for the night. He was not willing to go out of his way to help me. He even placed a call to someone higher up and left me waiting for about 10 minutes. Then told me he couldn't help me. I would say that is terrible customer service.

Excellent room! Clean and not worn down. It is the best Best Western that we have ever stayed at or at least tied with one in very southern Indiana (close to Louisville).We will definitely try to make this a permanent stop on our trips back and forth between Florida and Michigan.

this is the only motel we stay in at Macon Ga. very clean great pricing on rooms every thing in working order. going south on I75 you exit right turn left a stop light and at the next light there will be car exiting from north bound I75 turn right after the light. go about 2 to 3 block motel on the left like I said you'll enjoy your stay. we did. We travel with a very small dog and have stayed here before. We planned a last minute trip and returned here again. This motel is operated by a very nice family and every time we stay, the entire grounds look better. The room was neat and clean and linens were fresh. It was quiet and beds were comfortable. Due to the pandemic, hot breakfast buffet is gone for now. We had problems with room TV and Dalton came to the room immediately to fix the problem. We will always stay here when traveling from Florida north.

Had to switch rooms after hauling luggage in. Water on the bathroom floor. It was leaking from the toilet tank. (How does the maid miss that?). Was glad to move as the place stunk of moldy dampness. Second room toilet was not leaking. But this room stunk just as badly. As it was late and we were exhausted, we decided to stay. Couldn't sleep well due to smell. Stay away as there are many hotels to chose.

The carpet in the room was very old. I made sure not to walk barefooted. The room smelled awful. There was a dead bug in the floor. The only reason we didn't leave is because it was late at night and I was tired from driving. We had already brought everything in from the car and didn't want to load back up. Thank goodness we only booked it for one night.

We dropped in for one night on our way back south....Room was clean and tidy.... on ground floor. This is a pet friendly hotel, as i think all BW's are. Again a short stay everything was good! My only issue, for a pet friendly place...very little grass for my pig to wonder in....and it was not close....Still we managed to find a small patch next door....

I spent the night here in one of their suites. Very clean & my bed was comfortable. The rooms have exterior doors. I did book online at the Best Western website & saved some money. Because of Covid, no one is allowed to go in the lobby. The staff, including housekeepers, were very friendly. It's located right off I-475 & there are some fast food restaurants & Walmart in walking distance. I will stay here again!

4 stars only because vending machines were empty and no breakfast available because of Covid 19. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Best Western is always my hotel of choice if possible! If it we're not for Covid 19, all would have been perfect. This has ruined so much for everyone with any travel plans or simply getting a meal.

We stayed here 7/10. I had 3 rooms. The first 2 I check into were fine. The last one was added when a member of our team needed a room last minute. Dalton checked us in both times. The rooms were fine as far as the beds and the furnishings. We did not have their bag and go breakfast, we are aware of Covid and the fact that breakfast was not going to be available. However, the 3rd room that we added reeked of marijuana. Someone, probably staff, had just been in there and probably thought it would end up unoccupied for the night. It was definitely a freshly smoked in room. We didn't call and complain to Dalton because at that point, we wanted all of our rooms together and we just sprayed the room down. It was late, and we wanted to get on the road in the morning. I would probably stay there again, the experience wasn't awful just memorable.

We travel back and forth from Florida to Michigan twice a year with our small dog and stop in Macon for the night. We've tried quite a few pet friendly hotels and all were either filthy or the pet fee was as much as the room. FINALLY we found a great place to stay!! It's a hidden gem. Spotlessly clean, great shape, manicured clean grounds and super friendly and efficient staff. Touch less check in. Continental breakfast delivered to your door during the COVID process. Older layout with outside room entrances but you can park right in front of your room and it's well lit. Felt very safe. Rooms super quiet and comfortable and best of all very clean including the bathroom tub! Nice small fridge/freezer, coffee maker and microwave. Highly recommend! We will be back.

Have stayed here before. State was under ‘stay at home' and only the night window was being used. Despite it being an older hotel with outside room entrances, this place has always been spotless inside and out and the employees have been great. They really know how to make things right.

We have stayed at this hotel before and it is always a nice place. This was the first time we had a slight issue our phone range at 4:30 am picked up and did not hear anything so just thought that the previous people might have had a wake up call that wasn't cleared out but then the phone rang again and a voice said, "hate to bother you but this ????? from the front desk and I have locked myself out and could we come and let her in. First of all we would NEVER do anything like this so this time I kept the phone off the hook.

The hotel's location was excellent for us, right off an interstate, and the room had everything we wanted in perfect working order. The staff was most cheerful and cooperative, but someone must have dropped the ball on our wake-up call because we did not get it, almost missing out on the free breakfast.

An older hotel but clean and comfortable. Located on hwy 475 that bypasses Macon, so was convenient for travelers. Everything in the room worked and the bed was comfortable. Very good shower head and great water pressure. Interesting that alongside the usual hotel breakfast choices they had fried baloney, which I was glad to have for a change. Nice desk and breakfast employees.

We stay here at least a couple of times a year. Consistently clean and comfortable accommodations and they welcome pets! This time I arrived late with no reservation and Dalton at the front could not have done more for us.

We were first struck with the outside appearance of the hotel. The grounds were maintained immaculate. No trash or visible wear from the building, Dalton greeted us at the front desk. He asked a few questions such as will you go swimming, are you traveling with children which quickly allowed him to locate a right room location for us, quiet and away from children commotion. Dalton also provided us with a printout of hotel items like internet code, breakfast times. The list also included nearby restaurants along with some that offered discounts for guests. Once we entered our room I immediately appreciated the attention to details. Very nice tile in the bathroom, carpets were new and decorative. There was even crown molding in the room. The owners of this hotel care very much and it is evident. Sheila also was a pleasure in the breakfast room.

We were making our annaul trip to Florida for bike week and started using BW for our hotels. We found they are very easy to book and are very clean with a friendly staff. Tasty and very generous breakfast area. Clean, fairly priced rooms that are located near major highways.We will definatly be watching for the blue and white Beat Western signs from now on when we travel .

Clean, comfortable and secure. A perfect place to stay overnight while traveling to Florida. Front desk personnel upon arrival were friendly, courteous, and efficient when checking us in and out. Will stay there again.

On our way home to St. Louis from Florida and needed a stop for the night .Young man at desk was amazing .sorry didn't get his name.Room was excellent .didnt feel like going back out for food and desk clerk gave us a list of food places Ordered Marcos pizza and they said 45 minutes ...it arrived in 20 and was super hot .Only complaint was breakfast area was too small .Should make uncomfortable couches in business area table and chairs for eating.breakfast hostess was very friendly and looked like she enjoyed her job Otherwise great value .great night sleep

It's a motel and I am not sure where the suites are and pictures is way better than the reality. Ice is outside in hallway between office. Room was ok and fine for sleep while driving thru town. I prefer the safety of a hotel especially when traveling with my mother. There is no elevator. However the staff and breakfast was amazing!!

I stayed one night at this location in Room 224. The bed was comfortable but I was bit on forehead and arm. I have pictures to verify this incident.This was my first time and last stay at this location.

Stopped for a night on the way to Savannah. Nice staff very helpful with local questions. The breakfast was great plenty to eat and the quality was good. Room was good, old style out side room entrance may bother some but I find it easier for loading and unloading. Overall good experience especially for the price.

We have stayed at this Best Western several times on our way to Florida. Easy off and on I-75. It's a basic hotel (only two floors and does not have an elevator) but it is a very nice place to stay and the price is excellent. Not fancy but it's everything we have ever needed. Cleanliness is a BIG requirement of ours. They do accept pets but have designated rooms for absolutely NO PETS, which is a big requirement for us. We request a first floor room so we can back up to the door to carry in suitcases. Breakfast is basic but always good and hot. Staff is always friendly and accommodating their guests.

Josh greeted us at 12:30am very kindly. Josh had a hot breakfast completely ready at 7am. Room was clean and comfortable. I hope the management knows what a gem they have in Josh - I would hire him for my business in a heartbeat.

This Best Western is just fine. The lady at check-in was most helpful, the room was spacious enough and clean, the wi-if was good, and breakfast was fine, as one would expect at a BW. Easy access from I-475 southbound. Plenty of options at this exit, but this BW seemed to fit the bill for us. No complaints, and would use again.

My husband and I have traveled for several days and have stayed at alot of different hotels. The service by (Josh) at the Best Western Hotel in Macon Georgia was outstanding! He was very personable from the time we got there until we left. The room was very clean and the pool was actually "heated". The breakfast was by far the best! Real eggs, sausage and gravy and canadian bacon. Josh was there the next morning going around serving hot Crispy Creme donuts to everyone "what a treat"! This Hotel will definitely be on our radar in the future! I hope management realizes what a great employee they have. Thank you!

This particular hotel was book by the company I work for. It would not have been my choice of mine & after staying here, never will it! Apparently this place has been renovated & done in a rushed way. Bugs trapped in dried paint on the wall close to the bed, torn upholstery on the furniture, poor lighting in the parking area, and staff members who don't mind arguing in front of patrons. I didn't rest well because I was worrying about the safety of myself & my vehicle; needless to say, my stay was very short....only one night!

Excellent place to stay. Price, management, location, decor, employees and breakfast are really good! Close to many restaurants, shopping choices and cuisine. The manager is very accommodating and professional yet very friendly.

One of the cleanest motels I have stayed in for a long time. Breakfast was wonderful with hot items. Real eggs! The buffet had a good selection of breakfast foods. Refrigerator in the room was clean and operated well. Helpful and attentive employees. Rooms were priced completely.

From check in near midnight last night to breakfast and check out this morning we had an AMAZING stay! Bryan at the front desk was friendly and very helpful! After driving 10 hours yesterday we had stopped for the day in East Ellijay [GA] at the Stratford Motor Inn (see my review there) DISGUSTING!!! Do NOT ever go there. We paid $91.45 for a "pet friendly" room that wasn't fit to be a kennel! The clerk would NOT refund our money when it was so gross we REFUSED to spend the night; but we couldn't leave there fast enough or distance ourselves far enough! We drove nearly three more HOURS to Macon to stay the night. But enough about the bad place... BEST WESTERN on Chambers Road in Macon [GA] is the BEST!!! Bryan at the front desk let me look at our pet friendly room BEFORE checking in last night and you wouldn't even know that pets ever stayed there! These are the type of accomodations that we are used to when we travel alone! Because we are Best Western Rewards members we also received a 10% discount off of their best room rate and did NOT have to pay an additional fee for having our fur baby with us! WOW!!! Thank you Bryan and Best Western; you gave us a wonderful ending to a previously miserable night! We had a peaceful and very restful sleep on a very clean and amazingly comfortable bed! This morning we woke up to Sheryl (sp?)-she had a warm smile and genuine regard for our enjoyment of breakfast! She made an awesome meal of scrambled eggs with cheese, biscuits and gravy, sausage links and grits! There was also oatmeal, a variety of bread for toast, dry cereals, waffles and fresh fruit. Betty was at the desk this morning and she was very pleasant. (Whomever the individual is that emptied her tip cup this morning should be ashamed of themselves-you KNOW who you are!) All of this warmth, kindness, goodwill and cleanliness for LESS than $20 over what the disgusting place charged us to not even stay!

A perfect city to split up our drive to Bryson City, NC, for the Holidays! This was our first time staying at this Best Western and we were traveling with our pup. Our room was fresh, clean and comfortable! The breakfast was WONDERFUL! A full breakfast, eggs, grits, bacon, waffles, toast yogurt, cereal, fruit and all you could eat and drink!

Very enjoyable stay, as always. And will tell others about our stay at Best Western. Just can't say enough about the service we always receive at Best Western, always our choice of places to stay when we are away from home.

Drab tired room..no amenities...no dog walking area...tv very dim.. Front desk girl ..very helpful, friendly, and welcoming. Definitely would not stay there again, however we generally try to stay at Best Western on our road trips.

Clean hotel, good staff, breakfast was very good - grounds were clean and nicely landscaped - east access from highway. Rooms were quiet. New carpeting - a good value. Had a pet with in a pet friendly room.

This is a very nice hotel. Very clean, quiet, and comfortable. We love the shower heads. The breakfast is really nice. More variety than I've seen at other establishments. We have stayed here twice now, with a small dog. The pet friendly rooms do NOT smell like dog or anything else. It is a little more on the pricey side compared to others.

Starting with check-in, a great experience!! The desk clerk was friendly, gave me a list of local restaurants, wifi password, etc. The breakfast was excellent. The young man in the dining room went out of his way with every guest. Room was very clean and large. Highly recommend!!!

We stayed on a side for adults. they keep families on the other side. The entire place is clean, comfortable, accommodating. the I-75 signs do not include this hotel . It is macon by pass exit 3; everyone interested in making the hotel better. great workout room and pool.

Everything clean, friendly staff, and good breakfast. We had our 2 little dogs with us and were charged 15 dollars per night for each one. Didn't really like the extra charge since I am sure they did no damage Many people trash or dirty rooms and pay nothing extra Otherwise, a great spot. Definitely recommend

I stayed here for 3 nights to attend a nearby conference. The hotel reservations were made and paid for by my job. Please know that the room entrances are external. As a solo female traveler I would have felt more secure at a hotel with internal corridors, but I encountered no security issues. The hotel was okay, but housekeeping can approve. I saw nail clippings on my floor in Day One and I purposely did not alert housekeeping to see if they would notice (they did not). Also, on the last morning I noticed that one of the pillow slips was stained with something gross (maybe blood?). I did leave a note with housekeeping alerting them of the issues I had.

This Best Western is an older facility, but has been upgraded with stylish furniture and carpet. Facility is very clean & very comfortable bed. The rotating massaging shower head was amazing. I think it was the best shower ever!. Staff is very friendly & efficient. Easy access from highway.

Stopped here on our way to FL. I felt this would be a good hotel because it offered a good price for a good TripAdvisor rating. It also had a free breakfast. I wanted to use a separate account (prepaid card) for this stay. I called ahead to ask if there would be a hold on the card for a higher amount, like a deposit. The lady I spoke to said there would not be a deposit or a hold for a higher amount. She could only tell me what I already knew, the cost of the two rooms I reserved. Well I didn't buy that so I had about 60 extra bucks on my card just in case as I reserved two rooms. I made some calculations to help future travelers here. The hold amount was 13% higher than the total after all fees and taxes or 40% higher before any fees or taxes. Soon after the stay the amount charged reflected the regular amount for the rooms. We checked in late about 12:30am, the lobby doors were locked and I lady was on the phone and was like "I gotta go someones here" Then there was a separate window before the locked doors with plexiglass that I had to use. The lady I won't say was rude but just kinda loud and to the point. She wasn't trying to be real personable but I guess when it gets late you don't get the full welcome inviting check in experience. But we got checked in with no issues and I had receipts for the rooms given to me at that time. I thought the room and beds were totally acceptable and clean and no issues come to mind. There were do not disturb magnets you can put on the front of the door. which I did because I had read about housekeeping waking people up early. The lady at check in had mentioned when we check out we can just leave our key cards on the window seal so housekeeping will know they can come in. This is express check out. At breakfast their was an attendant. Warm items were grits, scrambled eggs and ham. That might change day to day. I felt the eggs were under cooked. I know they also had mini size waffles, and the attendant would make those for you. Could make 4 at a time which would probably be the size of a full size waffle. Another thing I noticed were the little coffee mate creamers in a bowl were sticky. I think overall this was a good choice for the price paid.

This place was amazing! Very, very CLEAN! Great customer service and a wonderful breakfast with REAL food. Beds and room was comfortable and the massaging shower head and heated jacuzzi were a welcomed treat. And did I mention that the place was very clean everywhere!?

Best Western Macon was excellent. The granddaughters enjoyed the hot tub. The choices at breakfast were great. Food was excellent and the hostess went above and beyond to help the guests. Check in and out was a breeze.

I was exhausted when I arrived at Best Western, but I was greeted warmly by Dalton, who made my check in a pleasure. He told me about the extras and made certain I know how to find my room. When I got to my room, I discovered that I had left a bag behind at home, and I needed my phone charger. When I returned to the desk, Dalton found a charger for me and checked it with my phone to be certain that all was well. Because I would be using the phone in a meeting the next day, he really helped me out. As I settled into my room, I found it to be clean with a nice television, refrigerator that worked well, and a clean bathroom. Everything was comfortable, and I enjoyed the Southern hospitality that Dalton extended. It's a great place to stay, and I will return. I felt quite comfortable here, and this will be my motel of choice when I'm in the area. By the way, the landscaping is very nice. The outside area is well-kept. Somebody is doing a great job here!

This is an old style hotel where the doors are on the outside. While it is an old style it is well maintained and appointed. The rooms are not necessarily spacious but everything is placed to be very functional. I really like having the vanity outside the shower area which is the case with this hotel. Also the water was soft and the water stream strong. There were plenty of outlets. The air conditioner fan runs constantly which provides white noise for sleeping. The bed was very comfortable. TV had plenty of channels to choose from. Not many good restaurants close Definitely recommend!

We were traveling to Florida and stayed there one night on our way from Ohio. I have very bad allergies and the room had a hint of smoke from possible the prior guest even though it was a non smoking room. I called the front desk and the girl at the desk immediately offers to change rooms. She was extremely helpful and we moved to another room that smelled great. This motel is in a great location and the rooms are spacious and recently remodeled with a great breakfast. Would highly recommend this motel

Extremely clean and updated. Great staff, especially Dalton at front desk, he's super helpful and so nice, he will make sure you 're comfortable. Breakfast is the best, real eggs, biscuits and gravy, fixed by a lady who really cares, she's so sweet! Ms. Palmer, GM, is also great at her job and wants your stay to be the best! Can't say enough about this BW! We stay her alot and will continue to because of the people and how nice it is! Recommended highly!

the friendliness of the staff - especially the lady who did breakfast was beyond outstanding. Everything was clean neat and good - inside and out. Would stay there again in a second! Wish I would have had the chance to use the indoor pool and sauna

Daytona 2019- Excelent stay. Easy check in and out . Had no problems. Room was clean and bed was so comfortable. Breakfast was great. Employees were so nice.Parking was easy and hotel was right off the interstate.

The rooms are clean and in working order. The internet sometimes disconnected or had trouble streaming videos from my phone. It was a great value for the price. Good location and quiet, even though you it was very close to interstate connection.

I have sent Best Western Corporate our review. The General Manager at this particular Best Western should be fired for how she handled our accommodations. The hotel has considerable issues and it will be up to Best Western corporate on how they are going to make this once happy Rewards member, a satisfied customer again.

This hotel was under construction during our one night stay so it's not the prettiest hotel but I'm sure it'll be nice once complete but the highlight of our stay was Sheryl, the breakfast lady. It's evident from the moment you arrive for breakfast that she put's her heart into the food she prepares and thoroughly enjoys interacting with her guests. She made us feel at home and you don't find that very much in this cold world! We just loved her and think she deserves recognition as a top notch employee!

One year ago in that exact room 119-A I found out I was pregnant. I peed on the stick and laid it on the tub side and told my then husband to read it. He said umm yeah it's a yes. So I rented it again and ended up staying alone and being told he didn't want in a marriage and wanted to be alone. I still don't know why but an honest, loyal, 15 year marriage is hard to find!

This is an 'older' facility getting rehab'd. Front desk is helpful. Although an older layout, with the sink out in the room, the furnishings were newer (in our room) and room had newer carpet and re-upped bathroom stuff. Everything worked. Everything was clean as could be. Breakfast was pretty well done for this class of property; several hot dishes and all the normal cereals and toastable stuff. A minor point - the coffee sucked. Friendly energetic breakfast attendant. For the prices we got the room at, it was a great deal. Hope management keeps up the good work.

Last night was the quietest place we have ever stayed. The accommodations were modern and in good shape. The manager and breakfast area person were great. The price was fair and the breakfast was awesome. The food was put out hot and fresh! Keep up the good work!

We have been so pleased with our experiences at this hotel, it has become our go-to for travel north. It's a perfect distance for the first night stop and we look forward to a restful stay for the night. I first tried another in Macon and was very disappointed. When we found this, we were thrilled. The front desk and the breakfast attendant are helpful and friendly.

This was just an overnight stay but I chose it because of the indoor pool. We would be in the vehicle for a long time and I wanted my son to have a chance to relax. The hotel was pretty easy to find. The lady who checked us in was very nice and friendly. When we asked for suggestions of a place to eat dinner she offered us a typed page of local restaurants with short descriptions and addresses. She then gave us her reccomendation from the list. The room was clean and tidy and well kept. I had no issues with the room whatsoever. Now, to the reason I chose this place. The pool. The pool and hot tub were awesome! And by awesome I mean AWESOME!!! It was so nice to sit and relax in the hot tub while my son played in the pool. I will definitely add this as a place to stay when we're headed that direction.

We requested an early check in and as promised, we got there at 12 and our room was ready and the girl checking us in was very pleasant. Our room was in the back and ground floor which was exactly as we requested since I have a bad hip. Our room was clean as was the hotel lobby and grounds. The bed was a little firm for me as I have a bad hip, but was great for my husband. We would definitely stay here again.

Place was clean very nice staff and you can tell they take care of their place rooms are very cozy nice size comfortable beds I recommend and will return soon great location because they have walmart and all types of restaurants just a few blocks and if you have a day off plenty of lakes right here

clearly the cleaning staff has not been trained to smell cigarette smoke in the room and do something about it. the room reeked and when i complained i got "sorry' and that's all. i will never trust this establishment again.

Reservation and check in was very easy. Front desk gentleman was most accommodating and friendly. Everything from the room itself, lobby, breakfast, fitness area, pool to the grounds was excellent. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Room was large and clean. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Pool was clean and towels provided (they are small but work). Breakfast was good. Would have been nice to have fruit such as berries or melon but not a deal breaker. Would stay again when going thru Georgia.

We had a good one night stay. Staff at front desk(Betty) was very nice, helpful and knowledgeable and gave us correct directions to get to Warner Robbins A.F. Base. We did find it OK. Room was quiet and VERY clean, we did have to go out an find food, but restaurants were close by. Mainly passing thru but if we get this way again we will stop here. Wanted to go for swim but actually forgot, and too tired.

We stopped just to sleep and get back on the road. The room was clean and larger than expected. Breakfast seemed to close early, we arrived at 9:15 and it was suppose to be open until 9:30. The attendant said it was still open and we could help ourselves. There was very little food left and we chose to pick something up instead.

After traveling all day long. It was a perfect ending to a long day. The staff was very pleasant and helpful and the breakfast was awesome with plenty of options to choose from. We really enjoyed our stay

My wife and I stayed here on a road trip passing through Macon and had a great experience. The room was spotless, bed was comfortable, and staff was friendly. I didn't take advantage of breakfast or the pool, but they looked good. If I'm passing through the area again, I will stay here.

Good location right off expressway but for the quality it seems a little on the high end of prices. With that being said we have stayed there twice in the past 12 months on our trip to Orlando in 2018 and 2019.

Fast and friendly check-in, clean and comfortable room, good and enough breakfast and a very easy and fast check-out. I really liked, that everything was ready for us, to just jump in bed. We would recommend the place.

The rooms were immaculately clean And smelled good.The front desk was courteous and helpful. Everything was updated beautifully. Clean refrigerator and microwave. Quiet and peaceful. The bed was very comfortable. The air-conditioner worked great

I had to call my wife in the room to look at the picture of the front of the building as I thought it was not where we stayed. We decided maybe it was right. The front was nice, the lobby looked nice and the breakfast area was bright, clean and just as shown in their photos. The young man staffing breakfast was extraordinarily diligent about making sure you had what you wanted. The front desk staff was pleasant and efficient. The room however, while clean and reasonably appointed was more on the lines of the much cheaper chains - not mentioning any names, but one you would expect in the $50-$60 range.

After having the WORST time trying to find a hotel that was clean, modern, and affordable ; I finally stumbled onto a listing for this hotel . I called and Betty answered promptly . She had a smile in her voice and made me feel relieved before I even began booking .! She immediately blew past the problem I had been dealing with all morning . I gave her my information to hold my reservation after a pleasant talk and she encouraged me to come and check in immediately . Upon arrival I was surprised that the hotel had outward facing doors , as all the reviews raved about the cleanliness and lack of critters . The building is very well kept , and that was quickly noticed by me. When I came to check in , Betty greeted me with a smile and made me feel comfortable and at home . I mentioned I wanted to grab a bite to eat and she told me how to get to all the restaurants that are nearby (there are a LOT). She even offered to tell me where I could have fun at , buy a bathing suit if I hadn't packed one , etc. She did all of this graciously and not once did I feel I was interrupting or aggravating her with all of my talking . She is a gem .! Anytime I come to Macon I will definitely stay here .! The room is very clean , has updated appliances and furniture and a firm , yet comfortable mattress . You will not be disappointed if you give the Best Western a try .!

We have a small dog and this motel made us feel like family. From the doggie treats offered at check in to the easy access to the room we were made to feel at home. The place was not new but has been recently remodeled to appear so. I would recommend this motel to anyone looking for an overnight pet friendly stay.

Great Great Great is all I have to say about my stay, can't wait to do it again, wonderful Jacuzzi hot tub...... I would recommend this hotel brand to anyone who is looking for a hotel that is affordable, but luxurious at the same time, then BW is the way to go, all the staff were nice... I booked 2 rooms at this hotel. We had children with us, and they put us on the 2nd floor (the doors face outside) There was water leaking from the ceiling and in one of the rooms the window had been left open, it rained and the carpet was soaked. Pretty sure we were breathing in mold all night. Didn't notice the wet floors until we unpacked and took our shoes off. the children were already asleep. DO NOT stay here

I was very pleased with the hotel cleanliness and the staff at this location. The breakfast was good and we were on our way after a comfortable nights stay. We did not encounter any problems during our stay and any requests we had were fulfilled immediately by the staff. I would recommend this hotel to any traveler.

We stayed here passing through to Florida and would definitely do so again. Friendly staff. More than adequate rooms. Comfortable beds. Quiet rooms. Not much more you can ask for. If you are looking for a good value close to the highway I would recommend.

I stay at the Best Western in Macon twice a year. We travel to and from Illinois to Florida. This hotel never fails to impress me. The hotel is very clean, The employees are always very helpful. If you need something the answer is always "yes".

Let's be honest, most of the time the free breakfast at a hotel is not great. Cheryl at the Best Western in Macon could compete with the Cracker Barrel up the road! Her great attitude and obvious hard work added to the experience. Friendly service all around and while the hotel itself is nothing fancy, the beds were comfortable and it was a very pleasant stay.

Booked through AARP and received a good discount. Check-in was easy and friendly staff. Room was clean and everything worked great, especially the AC (kept us very cold). Breakfast was delicious, the attendant was on the ball. She kept everything full. This will not disappoint if the owners continue to run it this way.

This was a very nice Best Western. We were traveling from FL home to IN & exhausted. Stayed in the King Jacuzzi tub room & loved it! Clean & comfy & jacuzzi was great! Slept well. Breakfast was very satisfying & good!! The friendly woman cooking & taking care of breakfast room was wonderful!! Highly recommend!

Very convenient, right off I-475 at the Eisenhower Rd exit. The best part was meeting Cheryl and having her breakfast the next morning. What a shot of sunshine, cooking (real eggs) and hospitality. Also the rooms had been updated in the last couple of years. The room was spotlessly clean, no outside noise at all which tells me good sound insulation was added in the walls. Also comfortable beds with 4 pillows each. The refrigerator was large and had a good working freezer. We stayed two nights and would stay there again if visiting Macon.

Used a booking site and had many hotels to choose from in this price range, $99.39. In fact in the middle of a dozen hotels. Easy to locate off the highway. Plenty of parking, friendly check in. They updated the logo and the sign and forgot to do the rooms.walked in to find paper straw wrappers on the floor. Carpet was stained and looked dirty. Not the carpet you wanted to walk on with your bear feet. The one chair was dated, soiled and and several stains also. Floor tile in the bathroom had been updated and all the carpet at the edge was frayed and pulled away from the tile. Noticed the sound of water running. Turns out someone left the water running in the bath tub. It was the mantanince man. The water does not shot off on the tube at all. Went to turn down the temp on the wall air unit and found three dead bugs on top of the unit. Had an idea when I checked in that I picked the wrong hotel. When they handed me the two keys for the room, they were in a dirty and well worn envelope what has been used over and over. First thought at that time was wrong hotel. Not horriable but not what I expect from a BW. First time at this location, last time also. Very disappointed with Trip Advisor reviews for this location. Trip Avvisor, you let me down!!! The property is not poor but is also less than average.

I stopped at this gem of a hotel as a last minute decision. I am so glad I stopped here. The front desk clerk was amazing, the property was clean and we'll cared for, and the room although a smoking room was very clean. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Macon, GA.

Really handy to stay, prices are always reasonable. Staff unbeatable, rooms always comfortable and clean. Parking can be tricky for late check ins. On my rather frequent trips to Atlanta this is my go to Hotel.

We have stayed here several times and was very satisfied . but this last time we needed a handicap room and it was smelly ,dirty carpet and chair . Not a good experience .Not sure we will ever stay here again . Its to bad we liked stopping here on our way to an from Fl.

This was just a road stop to break up the trip. It is located right off the interstate and we did not expect much. When we walked in we found a very vibrant and updated lobby and a very nice and clean room with very nice shower products and very nice linens. There is also a full American breakfast served included in your room rate. We felt this was a great value and got us back on the road in a very pleasant mood! There is also an outdoor pool should you decide to swim however we did not opt for that. There is also a lounge attached to the building which we also did not visit but there were restaurants and delis located within walking distance from this facility.

This is one of those two story Motel-like places. The room was clean and the staff courteous. It offers a hot breakfast in the morning which is pretty much the same as in other hotels with the same deal. There are a few other restaurants close by for lunch and dinner such as Applebee's and Cracker Barrel. If you are traveling and you don't want fancy, this place is not bad. King bed room was $91/tax incl. However, there are better hotels close to this one. Do your research!

Excellent breakfast array. Easiest check out. Proficient, conscientious staff. Professional. Very close to many dining options. No loitering anywhere. Room very clean and updated. TV, fridge, microwave, blow dryer worked just fine.

The hotel is your typical older hotel that has been renovated. All rooms face the parking lot. A/C is in the outer wall. Beds are comfortable. The room is clean. There was a big flat screen tv and a microwave. The problem we encountered and it was certainly a bummer. Our television wouldn't work. The front desk couldn't find the maintenance man. They couldn't leave the front desk to help us and couldn't give any suggestions over the phone. so we were out of luck until the man returned to work from going to church over an hour after he was expected back. Finally at 9:30 pm, we got tv. We are traveling north for a few days and will not return to this property onthe way home.

Couldn't have been more pleased with the room (large, quiet, clean) and the included hot breakfast (eggs, biscuits, sausage, etc.). Would absolutely stay here again if we need accommodations in Macon.

We have stayed here many times and always find this hotel to be a great choice. Christina, the manager, is very professional and helpful. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The staff in the breakfast area are always pleasant and friendly.

This hotel was clean and well-kept. Beds were comfortable and pillows were plentiful and also comfortable. Breakfast was very good - much better than expected and of better quality than other hotels we recently stayed at. A young man named Dalton checked us in and was extremely pleasant and helpful during our visit. He helped us carry our bags to our second floor room and quickly responded when we requested additional towels. It was a pleasure to see an 18 year old provide such excellent customer service. Good work Dalton!

The good: The staff were courteous, helpful and friendly. Reception was quick. Market nearby. Hot water was good (this is sometimes a problem). There are certain things that make my stay good or not so good. Our room seemed renovated and clean. The sort of bad: room was quite small. The bad: NO ELEVATOR and we were on second floor. The area of the hotel isn't very good. It is on the same property as an EconoLodge or similar. The bad: I contacted in advance and ask that my room not be sprayed with one of those 'perfumes' that tend to be done to cover up mold, etc. And I am sensitive to it anyway. When we arrived, fairly heave perfumed smell. Reception said they did not spray. I had the receptionist come up and she could smell it too. I had to live with it. When i checked out, the other reception lady said that they did not spray, it was probably just from the day before. I think she was right, but all the more reason not to use those things in a room. For an "upgraded" BW, this place wasn't very good for me.

What do I look for in a hotel? Is it safe? Is it reasonably clean? Is the water pressure good? Can you get a good night's sleep there? How is the internet connection? Here the answers to these are mostly yes with a couple of issues. Here's the story. I was in town for one night on business and located this hotel based on TripAdvisor comments, which were almost all positive. Upon arrival, I found a small problem with my reservation but I'm not sure if it was one that I made or one that they made so I'll reserve judgment upon them for it. In any case, it was easily remedied. The facility seemed safe, I was at no point concerned for my safety or that of my car. The place was clean! Let me say that again. The place was clean! Outside it was spotless, swept, well painted. Inside, as clean as any hotel I've been in. When I find a place that clean, I go looking in unusual and often-neglected places for dirt and there wasn't any. The room was spacious and well organized, the bed comfortable and the temperature easily controllable. There were all the usual amenities including television which I did not use. There were plenty of usable outlets scattered about so no issues there. The bathroom was clean, and there was a little basket attached to the wall for soap and shampoo - a very nice touch. The only issue was - no hand towels. I don't know if this was an oversight or they don't provide them but I use them and missed them. Water pressure was adequate. I'm don't know if it was system related or due to the very odd shower-head mechanism that controls output. It was usable but, just over the line of acceptable. The internet was an issue - it was usable and it was easy to attach to - the password was provided at the desk - but it seemed slow. One caveat - I was on the interstate highway side of the hotel and I'm thankful I had a loud white noise fan because there was a lot of noise intrusion from the highway into the room - tractor trailers mostly. Suggest you ask for a room on the east (left) side of the hotel.

Selected stay here based on price and review. Great choice. Will stay on way back since we were traveling through. Got in much later that expected, called ahead to let them know and they explained what to do, Arrived around 1 am and Shay checked us in, Noticed the parking lot was full when we pulled in. After checking in Shay said give her a minute and she would move her car for us. Huh??? Never had that happen before. This young lady in middle of night moved her car so we could be close to door. In the rain no less. Room was clean and modern looking. Beds were extremely comfortable and plenty of pillows. As we loaded our cars the house keeping staff was very cheerful in their greetings. So nice! Breakfast was pretty busy. We were immediately greeted by Dalton, the front desk manager, in the breakfast area, Next Sheryl on the breakfast staff greatest us. Without asking she made a fresh batch of coffee for her (we came in at the tail end of breakfast). By now everyone had pretty much left so we had the place to ourselves, Food was excellent - eggs were real and made by Sheryl (she even made a few extra sausage links for us when we went back to have seconds and they were out). wife had the 4 little waffles that she made. Really pleasant experience made possible by very friendly people. If you have to spend your dollars do it at a place like this and reward the hard working staff.

best hotel staff we have ever experienced, we ended up staying here again on our way back home because we were so impressed. The only suggestion that I have is to remind the guest to pick up after their dogs use the grassy areas, this is no reflection on the hotel people that have dogs should know to do this.

Booked this room on line through BW. When we arrived it was a smoking room that got booked (we don't smoke), so they gave us another upgraded room, and charged us more. Most places upgrade and honour the original price...we weren't impressed! Besides this...the room was clean and the breakfast was good.

Check in was smooth with a friendly clerk. Jacuzzi room was neat and clean. Pool, spa, and exercise room were also clean and well stocked with towels. Breakfast was great with much more than the normal continental style. Eggs, biscuits and gravy, toast and more.

Older 2 story, no elevator. It is right next to interstate, heard road noise all night. Sink area is in open area, not in toilet bathing area. Nice Fridge/Freezer. Clan room, but had strong flowery odor. King bed was comfy, no feather pillows, which I was glad, for am allergic to. Breakfast are was good but not enough tables (only had 4), they could probably had one more table comfortably. Liked that it had flavored coffee. There were 2 drive way entrances into the motel, but neither was marked 'entrance or exit'.

I was treated like royalty at this Best Western. I felt like I was at home.very nice people. Courteous and very pleasant. Next time I take a trip, I will certainly go back to this hotel if possible. Great employees here.

The room was excellent, clean and the front desk person, Betty, booked us in a room on the first floor when she saw me walking with a cane. She was serving the needs of her customers without being asked. That is special.

We normally stay in Hampton Inns, but arrived in Macon and that hotel had no vacancy so we ended up at the Best Western. Our room had two queen beds and had been totally renovated. It was so quiet! It was just a really nice room. The breakfast room was very nice and the attendant was super friendly. I have put this on our list of hotels to stop at from now on when we make the trip south to Florida or back home in the spring. You will not be disappointed!

I booked this on basis of reviews on Trip Advisor for a one night stay. It was perfect. The carpet had obviously recently been replaced which is high on my list. Everything was clean. Solid surfaces in bathroom and sink area. Good lighting. Good breakfast. What's not to like here??? I would definitely be back should we be passing through again.

Stayed in Macon on the way back home from Florida. Hotel is easy to get to and has several restaurants nearby. Check in staff was friendly and got us checked in quickly. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Did not eat the breakfast since we wanted to eat at a Waffle House at least once on the trip.

I was in a non-smoking ground floor by the heated pool and sauna. Was comfortable. The breakfast would have been good if temp was turned up. But the links tasted bad like old (one bite is all I could get) otherwise it was clean. I did complain so I think they'll get it right. Good place for the money.

Friendly staff at check in; clean rooms with plenty of towels, etc. Comfortable bed and linens; breakfast options were plentiful and restocked as needed. We would stay here again. Easy on-off highway too!

We had a quick stop on our way South. Clean, comfortable bed, updated bathroom, and a great breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel. The Libby was updated with good taste, very inviting atmosphere. The staff was upbeat

Very unassuming from the outside, but a great surprise when you open your door. Very updated with a nice large flat screen TV, fridge which is bigger than average with a freezer, microwave. Bed was super comfy, we had a nice couch with a table and also a desk, bathroom very nice and updated and the whole room was amazingly clean, breakfast was good the lady that attended to it was so nice actually everyone I encountered was super friendly. I highly recommend this place.

The road noise was unbearable. The hotel is approx. 3 lanes over from I475and the rooms face interstate. The structure is old style (doors outside) No sound barrier. 2nd floor no elevator, so carrying bags upstairs could be difficult. We would have slept better if we parked at a rest area on 75. The level of noise is about equivalent to an old dishwasher or idling old car. Staff was friendly and rooms were clean. However, there's nothing they can do about the noise. We have a list of name brand hotels we stick with, because they produce consistent results. We were hoping to make Best Western part of this list. The last property we stayed at was fine. However, this stay proved they will market substandard properties in their portfolio. I felt as if this property was misrepresented and will not be staying with them again.

For what you pay, this is a decent motel. The room is large, and the furniture and carpet are in good shape. The breakfast person goes above and beyond. She volunteered to make me a plate of grits and they were very tasty. The breakfast eggs tasted like she'd just prepared them. They were definitely not out of a box. Two negatives:1. When we opened our room door we were greeted by a huge bug on one of the chairs2. Chips from the last guest were left under one of the bed skirts.

Great place to stay. Modern, clean, great manager and breakfast area person. Good value and close to a lot of places to eat and shop. Would recommend this place to anyone wanting a motel that is clean, modern with great people working to take care of you.

Very clean hotel, outstanding staff, excellent service all for a good price. I've stayed at this hotel at least 6 different time in the last 4 months. This is the only hotel I will stay at. I know the rooms will be clean and I will receive great service.

The lodging was convenient to the highway . The room was convenient to the indoor pool and Jacquizi. It was very relaxing for a good nights sleep after driving from the Memphis area on my way to Orlando. They had a goid Continental breakfast, and the lodging was convenient to an easy of and on to the Interstate.

We stayed here for one night while on our way to Atlanta. Hotel is easy to find just off the interstate. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Room on seconfloor ( of two) was ok , clean and comfortable without being special. Breakfast was ok too. There can be some noise from traffic on the interstate during the early hours of the morning.

Booked this hotel because they offered roll-away beds for my 10 year old, and other hotels in the area didn't ($10 extra fee). The staff was very professional at all times and the room being on the 2nd floor with no elevator was not a problem for us. However, the room could have been cleaner (bathtub still had hair) and the beds were really old. So much so that they sag in the middle. Breakfast was nothing to write home about but it was complimentary. Limited space area to sit down for breakfast.

Nice area nice people very friendly great pool nice staff will go again next time we are traveling to north carolina this hotel is a 20 min drive to mall of georgia and that mall is amazing i cant wait to go again!

When we arrived to the room, we were shocked beyond imagination at the furniture in the room. I have attached a picture of the ottoman. I took the picture to the desk and Christina immediately went to the room and switched out the chair and ottoman. Later, as turning down the two queen beds, we found one had obviously been slept in. Called the front desk again and were brought a new set of sheets that my husband changed. Actually a fairly good nights sleep. In the morning, after showering, I attempted to turn the hair dryer on, it made a clanking noise, the elements turned beet red and smoke rolled out. Called the front desk again and was brought another hair dryer that was never attached to the wall. As checking out, I talked with Betty and she assured me the manager would call Monday morning,( this was Saturday). It is now Wednesday and I am still waiting. The very small pet fee was removed from the bill as our dogs feet never touched the floor of this place!! I was very glad to be leaving this place and will never return. The people did seem nice enough but they don't have much to work with!!

There is nothing to indicate that this 'hotel' has outside room entrances and no elevator. My room was not clean, there were not even hand towels, and the smell was of someone who used too much perfume. Having to climb stairs for a 'suite' with luggage in tow was not what I expected. I won't rely on web site pictures again.

This was a very pleasant hotel very clean and with wonderful friendly staff but it needs to be updated. Our room was spacious and very clean but the bed was creaky and the mattress sagged in the middle. They are in the process of remodeling so I'm sure these issues will be fixed shortly The staff was friendly and the breakfast was varied and very good. There are outside corridors only and no elevators so be aware if you have security or mobility issues. The room was quiet and we slept well in spite of the less than perfect mattress. I would definitely give this hotel a try if you are in the area.

Both the motel and room appeared almost new. Sparkling clean all around. Combine that with a very friendly staff including a great breakfast so why stay anywhere else? You would never know we stayed in a pet friendly room, no smell or stains anywhere.

Clean hotel. Staff was excellent and friendly. Breakfast had both hot and cold items. Two story hotel—outside entry only. Outside stairs. If you don't or can't carry suitcases upstairs, you must request a first floor room.

Nice hotel that's well maintained. Full breakfast was good. The pool and whirlpool area were nice. The gym was a little lacking, but I still had a decent walk. The staff was friendly. I would say stay here again.

We have stayed at this Motel on many previous occasions and have never been disappointed with any aspect. The management and staff have always been courteous and helpful in all ways. I always look forward to enjoying the breakfast at each visit.

You can't go wrong. The employees at this Best Western do everything they can to make you comfortable. I stay at this hotel several time a year going back and forth between Illinois and Florida. They treat me like family.

This property is very clean, reasonable and quiet. From the smiling face when my husband checked in to the same friendly service when we checked out, we were very happy. The room is spacious, comfortable and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable and the drapes truly closed properly and darkened the room for a good night's sleep.It might sound silly but the door of every room was neatly edged to create a tight 'seal' when closed so that there wasn't light, wind or 'creepies' coming through gaps. I'm sure it helped with any sound as well. I was extremely impressed with this detail. We just kept saying, "This is really nice". It's the little things.Breakfast was the usual fare. Everything was hot, fresh and plentiful. The dining area was impeccable.We were impressed and have found our 'go-to' for trips in this area.

We had planned to stay here even before we left Cincinnati. The trip took longer than expected, so we were pretty tired when we arrived. The front desk clerk could not have been friendlier or more helpful! She got us checked in and then helped us find a parking spot for our car and trailer. The room was comfortable and we both slept very well. They have a fridge that has a freezer and a fridge, which was a big help as we needed to refreeze some things for the next couple of days. The bathroom/shower was showing it's age, but the beds and TV, etc... were fine. I think it's important to keep in mind what your expectations are before you book and stay at a BW. It ain't the Ritz! But we didn't need or want the Ritz. We wanted a place to get a good nights sleep that was close to the highway, took pets, and had food options close by. They met those criteria. The places to eat close by were fast food, or a couple of local places. We opted for fast food because our dog was acting up and we didn't want to leave her alone. They have free breakfast and coffee, which we took advantage of this morning. So while it wasn't the best hotel I've ever stayed in I wasn't expecting it to be so, so we were satisfied. The hotel is at one of the first exits off 475S, and if you want to be closer to downtown you might find another option. But if you want a reasonably priced hotel, with friendly staff and comfortable beds this could be the place. I would stay here again, and that's the best compliment I can give a hotel.

Customer service at the front desk was poor 1st shift. Lacked accomadating guest with adequate towels/ washcloths, lacked accomadating guest with pool supplies. Bed sheets and blankets are worn. Roaches in room.

This is not a bad place to stay. The room was clean. The staff was exceptional!!! They were all very kind and fr. The hotel is definitely dated. It is not what I really expected but, as I said, it was clean.

I checked in late as I decided not to go home for the night after working late. Hotel is close to the interstate so it's a little loud. AC didn't really ever get the room cold. Toilet ran all night and kept flushing it's self some how. Didn't feel like packing my bags to move room. Price wasn't bad for the room. Breakfast was lacking bad. At 7:30 I stopped in to grab a bite. However there wasn't any eggs or biscuits, but they did have waffles. There was 3 types of cereal, yogurts, apples, and bananas. Room was very clean and bed wasn't bad. Alarm clock has USB ports for charging which was nice. I'd stay again just in a different room.

Never stayed at a Best Western, this was my first time. Must say I was pleasantly surprised by this location. To begin with, the folks that work here are very friendly. The room was very clean & comfortable. They have a breakfast buffet in the morning & the girl that was taking care of it was very attentive & friendly. Definitely changed my mind & attitude towards the Best Western.

We were traveling to Florida and looking for a place to stop for the night. We are Rewards members and wanted to stay at a Best Western. We arrived around 10:45PM. The desk clerk, Alisa, was friendly and very professional. The maintenance staff was also on hand and monitored the property as we unloaded our car. The hotel grounds were spotless. Included breakfast buffet consisted of sausage, eggs, biscuits, cereal. The attendant was awesome, bringing out and offering fresh cooked bacon. Coffee was hot and plentiful. Fruit consisted of apples and bananas. I rate it very good instead of excellent because the bed sheets smelled kind of musty. Everything else in the room was fine, met our needs for a place to sleep for a few hours.

I generally rate quick overnight hotels by cleanliness, comfort of bed and shower. This hotel scored a five in all of those categories. I was a little disappointed when we pulled up to see that it was a motel style hotel (doors facing the parking lot), but we didn't have any problems with noise and the room was much nicer than the typical motel. The beds were comfy, the rooms were clean, the TV and amenities were great and the shower head had great pressure. The breakfast was adequate for my family and the check in process was smooth and friendly. I would stay here again and I typically won't stay in motel style hotels.

Perfect place for an overnight stop on our way to Florida. Gentleman at the front desk was super nice and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. It was a great place to sleep and recharge. Would definitely stay again.

Only stayed at this facility one night but would definitely booking here again when we are to be in this area The room was very good and we enjoyed the breakfast The breakfast was much better than at the BW motel that we stayed in on our way north which was in Actworth, Georgia.

We stayed here while driving through Macon. We had a suite, and the most impressive thing was it looked brand new. The bathroom, carpet, everything was cleaner than any hotel room in which I've stayed before.The lady at the front desk was friendly and inviting. The breakfast had real scrambled eggs and was adequate.We did not swim in the pool. The only odd thing was the hairdryer. It looked like a vacuum and wasn't very powerful. I would definitely stay here again based on the cleanliness of the room.

It's ok for one night if your passing through it's at the side of the interstate easy to find. There was a smell of tobacco in the passage way but not in the room. Tried the bar next door. Strange place lots of people smoking Beds comfortable no noise from other guests slept well. Breakfast ok all in all a value for money place

We he photos of the hotel online have been greatly Photoshopped to improve the appearance of this property. The photos make the hotel look new, but it is far from it. We like warm service calling the hotel directly — put on home for extended wait times more than once— the reservation request for first floor was confirmed over the phone, but when we arrived the reservation was wrong. All rooms access from outside, no interior halls, and pool is in separate Bldg, not connected. We left without staying.

My husband and I spent 1 night here while on a road trip through GA. The hotel is easy access off the hwy, located among other hotels and restaurants. Landscaping outside is nicely done, and the facility is clean. Staff were very friendly. Our spacious "executive" room was attractive and included a sitting area with love seat and coffee table. A "suite" means there is a half dividing wall between the bed and sitting area. The room had free wifi, small fridge, microwave, coffee maker, large flat screen tv, good shower and AC. The king bed was very comfortable and had 4 pillows. The free breakfast was the usual fare, and met our needs. The only real negative was that there is no elevator, and rooms open to the outside so if your drapes are open people walk by and can see into the room. Plus your window is looking out on other businesses. We would stay here again for the great price if in the area.

I have stayed in Best Western facilities around the U.S. This was the first time in Macon, Ga. The room was a King Suite, very spacious. The room was large and it was very clean. It seemed the room was renovated in the last several months or so (I am not a good judge sometimes but it appeared to be so?) Done very nicely. The exterior of the building seemed well maintained. The front desk staff was pleasant but maybe a tad 'new'? She was having some difficulty but overall did a nice job of welcoming and setting us up. The bed, TV, internet worked well. We did not partake of the 'breakfast' so cannot comment on that. Overall a good stay. One comment I'll make is that the building itself is older. We are not used to entering the room from the 'outside' or 'exterior' of the building which could lead to some noise; but that was not a problem here............except for some loud folks who returned to their room at 1 a.m. ........but that's not the hotel's fault.

This facility is dated, but they have made it a very acceptable choice for an overnight stay from FL to NC. Easy access from I 75, friendly staff, clean facility, great breakfast choices including "real eggs" & waffles & great shower. There is no elevator, so if you need ground floor they will accommodate your request.

Nice hotel. Do need to request ground floor if you need accessible room for handicap access. No elevators. But still a great place. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Gas station and restaurants close by.

Our experience started with a wonderful pleasant staff, followed by a very comfortable room, and a WONDERFUL breakfast the next morning. We enjoyed it so well, we reserved our same rooms for our trip home from Florida. We had a large group and they let us use the breakfast room so we could all have dinner together. Super Super sweet wonderful staff.

I stayed in macon for a conference with my church. I checked in around 11pm the front desk woman was fast, friendly and knowledgeable. The room was very clean. No bugs, the housekeeping was fantastic and it felt like a real vacation. I would stay again

We stopped here for an overnight on our way to Florida and found this Best Western to be reasonably priced, clean and easy to access from the Interstate. The staff was wonderful, friendly, helpful and cheery. The complimentary breaskfast was excellent. I would stay here again.

The first time we stayed here was several years ago. And we vowed that anytime we traveled down and back to Florida we would stay here. This probably the cleanest motel we have ever stayed at. The pool so nice and it's warm. So many places the pool is too cold to use. The lady in the breakfast are always gives us a hug now because she has seen us so many times. She makes you feel like family coming home. Her name is Sheryl, what a sweet heart. Bob and his wife Alka keep thing so clean. And they are both so nice. The people at the front desk are friendly and very helpful. We had a free room coming and decided to use it at the Macon Best Western. The room we were give had a king sized bed and a Jacuzzi. Wow, what a great surprise. This trip was to Florida to take cruise to celebrate my retirement. What a great way to start it off. Keep doing things the way you are. We are always recommending this place to people we know from up here to stop and stay by you. Keep up the good work.

I booked a room here as a stop over on our way from Atlanta to Savannah. We had been traveling since early in the am. It was clean, comfortable. The front desk agent suggested a restaurant called "The rookery" in Macon. It was so great we stopped on our way back as well. We walked around Macon.

Nice clean room. Staff is so nice and friendly. We stop here every year on our way to Florida. They keep it nice and clean. Always have plenty of towels. Bed is always comfortable. They allow pets too, which is great as we don't go anywhere without our sweet puppy. Prices are reasonable too. Free hot breakfast is hubby's favorite amenity.

We stopped overnight on the way from Illinois to Florida, just to sleep and shower. I was really nervous about staying at a $75 motel, but I put my faith in the positive reviews and I'm glad I did. It was a basic, budget friendly place with no frills but it was clean and the breakfast was decent. Kids alway love making their own waffles and they had several hot items plus pastries, cereal, fruits, yogurts. The shower was fine and also clean. It is definitely not the Waldorf, but it serves it's purpose just fine. Staff were friendly and helpful.

I stayed at this hotel recently as I was there for an ESOL WIDA conference nearby. The staff was amazing. Brian at the front desk was especially cool as he went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. The continental breakfast was the best I've ever had. Also, there are good restaurants and shopping like old Navy nearby. Go here with your family and enjoy the indoor pool and hot tub as well.

We were pleased with our stay here - no surprises, clean and efficient. It's just what you want in an overnight stay. I must mention the high overhead BW sign was a great beacon to help us find this place off the interstate. The young fellow who checked us in was a little overwhelmed by the line-up of parties waiting in line to do the same. It was 6 PM, and everyone was a little anxious and tired, but he was courteous and efficient to all, kudos to him. We had a 'suite' that included a king bed and a sofa; The room was large and functional, but a little austere. The important part is that it was CLEAN - nice new carpeting and tile and a comfortable bed... though I hate those small, square pillows. The room included a microwave, fridge, even a freezer. The shower worked well. There was a separate sink area with tub/toilet in the actual bathroom. Toiletries were minimal: soap and a small bottle of conditoning shampoo. We enjoyed the included breakfast. It runs from 6am to 9:30am, even on the weekend, a big thumbs up from travelers who like to be on the road early without having to make a separate stop for breakfast. Loved the biscuits and sausage gravy! Shay was the gal in the breakfast room, and she was very welcoming and efficient. Everything was clean and well-supplied. Great coffee, juice, sweets, eggs, sausages and other breakfast options. The hotel location has easy access off/ back on I-475. There are no indoor corridors, so access to rooms is from outside. There are elevators for the second floor. The parking lot is very well lit. I understand that there is an indoor pool (the family in front of us couldn't wait!), but we did not have a chance to use it. Also, there are a lot of convenient nearby food and gas options. Overall a very good choice.

Rooms are immaculate, check in was a breeze and staff is very pleasant. I have yet to use the pool but I definitely like that it is in a separate building for use year round. I have stayed at this location multiple times and have never had any problems.

We loved it here! Very clean room and bedding. Great TV with lots of high def channels. Breakfast was very good, all the motel staff efficient and polite. Swim pool and area was superb too ! What's not to like? Our goldendoodle (Sadie) gives it five stars as well. Loved the outside room entrance so we could back our car up right to the room door. Staying here again on our return trip in several days... :-)

We stayed overnight travelling to Florida. 81 us per night. Clean and very reasonable and staff were friendly. The included The breakfast had several choices- good place to stop. Might even book it on my return. Highly Recommended

On a recent trip to Florida, my wife and daughters needed a place to stay while driving down from Minneapolis. Macon seemed to be the best spot. She called and asked me to find and book a room. Naturally I jumped into trip advisor to do just that. Found this place and booked the room through the app. All was good until my wife was about a mile away when the hotel called and said they unfortunately don't have a room for her and that trip advisor overbooked. Now normally this wouldn't be a big deal, expect for it was now 11 at night as she was pulling up with my 11 and 15 yo daughters. This kind of curveball should not happen. In the end, we quickly found another hotel, through the app, and she drove there to book it direct. So, I'm not sure who to blame here. The hotel for not finding her reservation, or trip advisor for overbooking. To me it didn't matter. This sort of thing should't happen in today's day and age. They did refund my booking in full. That process wasn't too bad to deal with. Just know that if you do have to deal with that, you will likely be calling the UK, where the trip advisor customer service people are.

This was a good stop for us on the way home. Rooms are spacious and have all that you would need available in the room. Rooms were clean and nicely furnished. This BW is a very good value for the area. Love the indoor pool although we didn't take advantage of it this time. Staff was friendly and courteous. Breakfast as always at a BW was great! Love the waffles. Definitely would stop here again.

First off, this place is pet friendly, but you have to book a pet friendly room. We didn't need to, but nice to know for future reference. We booked a room while on the road from WI to FL. It was our one stop of the trip, so wanted to be comfortable. The staff here is outstanding. Courteous and friendly. To me that can really make or break a hotel stay. Room was clean and moderately comfortable. Nothing spectacular, but adequate for what we needed. Breakfast is nothing spectacular, but if you just want a quick meal before you head out it works. Not sure why, this seems to be an issue at all locations, but the dining area is always too small to accommodate the number of guests. We had to sit on a couch in the lobby to eat breakfast while children loitered about watching TV (and us eat) in there. Not ideal, but have been in worse. We would recommend and stay here again.

This was our second stay at this hotel, and was very good value for the seemingly clean and spacious room. Staff were professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. Our only complaint this time had to do with the copious amount of room freshener (something called Odo Clean) that had been liberally sprayed on everything in the room during the housekeeping process, (which made us wonder if the room was really clean) and even worse caused a serious allergic reaction among the humans occupying the room (wheezing, difficulty breathing, etc.). We ended up moving to a different room, where the room freshener chemicals were still very detectable, but less intense overall. UGH. The benedryl we bought at the Circle K gas station next door kicked in enough to offset the noxious chemicals and allow us to remain in the room through checkout the next morning. The front desk graciously gave us a room price reduction for the inconvenience of changing rooms. For hotels everywhere here is a question to consider: Why must hotels encourage the spraying of such insidious "room freshening" chemicals? If the room is clean, this is an unnecessary added expense to the hotel, and is potentially detrimental to the health of hotel guests. Please stop doing it. This hotel has a very distinct policy forbidding cats, dogs, (and presumably other animals), so the need to spray anything should be nonexistent provided the rooms are in fact really clean. PLEASE train housekeepers to lay off the spray - and instead just clean the rooms rather than masking or covering up any smells resulting from incomplete cleaning with a noxious and toxic spray. This is as bad or worse than the old ladies who bathe in perfume prior to attending church on Sunday mornings. It should very simply NOT be done. Breakfast was good, and for those who need to know: this hotel does not have an elevator, so request ground floor if needed. We highly recommend asking for a "non-sprayed" room upon booking - who knows, maybe they'll take note and grant your request.......

Parking was right in front of the room door. Room was clean and tidy. Hotel is pet friendly with several grassu areas to take our dog outside, which was very important. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

We drove late and on Christmas eve. We were tired. Check in was simple and they did everything right. At the end as the young clerk gave us the key and told us where our room was and we started out the door. He wished us a Merry Christmas! It was a simple gesture but it put a smile on both of our faces. We all slept great and had a great breakfast the next day on Christmas. Perfect

Don't stay here if you have allergies, rooms will irritate them. Linens looked like used and not cleaned. Room had odor of animal and smoke. Bed not comfortable and did not feel clean either. Breakfast was terrible as ran out of eggs and pancake batter and took 20 min to replenish. No water and ran out of coffee by 8:30am. Terrible service on breakfast items. Food was ok once it finally came. Too small a breakfast room for hotel too. We will never stay here again, not impressed with anything here!!!!!!

We stay here every New Year's eve on the way to Florida for the winter and love staying here. Everything from the room to the breakfast is excellent. Staff is courteous, friendly, and helpful. Could not recommend higher !!!!

Well, the location is fine, tucked in with several others of I-475; nice pool. Wifi was unpredictable....we ended up using an alternative server because it kept dropping out...maybe because we were furthest from the office??? Beds were comfortable and the room was a nice size.

This hotel was awesome and cozy. I wish I could had stayed longer. The staff is very pleasant. Breakfast was nice and Internet was easy to log on to. All the other guest seemed pleased and excited to be a guest staying at Best Western. I pick the right hotel.

This was a pleasant stop in our trip. We booked the family suite for just a bit more money and the extra room was great. Our son loved the indoor pool and the hot breakfast was a bonus. We would defiantly recommend for the price.

I LOVE the indoor heated pool and hot tub. It is great for the weary traveler like me! The staff are wonderful. The front desk people were nice and helpful. My room was clean and smelled good. I will stay here again when I come back. We ended up staying 2 nights instead of one just because of the pool and exercise room and hot tub.

I needed a place to stop between Tampa Fl and Chattanooga Tn. The reviews were positive so I booked a room. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Everything worked and I did not have any issues or concerns. The location is close to the highway but I did not hear any noise during the night. The staff was prompt and friendly at check-in and check-out. The breakfast was fine. There are plenty of eating establishments within a few minutes drive. I would definitely stay here again.

The pool and hot tub were very warm and soothing! It was the perfect road trip stop. Standard hotel hot breakfast. Good beds. You do have to walk outside to get to the pool/fitness center. In fact all walkways are open air.

Very clean room but noisy customers in the room above us, nothing the hotel can do about that. We didn't check in til 3AM, got some sleep and made it down to breakfast just before it ended. Lady overseeing the breakfast area was cleaning up and she noticed my son looking over the food and asked him what she could get him. He asked for biscuits and gravy and she promptly went into the back and came back out with a heaping plate of biscuits and gravy. She checked on us a few times, we were very grateful. We would stop in again and stay.

We stayed at the Macon Best Western one night while traveling to Florida. The room had a noticeable odor but it was masked with cleaning products and other chemical smells. We thought maybe it hadn't been used for a while so aired it out upon arrival. By 11:30 pm it was still terrible. We needed to be on the road by 5:30 the next morning so no one was at the front desk to talk to when we left. We called later to let them know they should not be renting that room out to anyone. Trying to cover the problem up isn't working and it's not right to do that to their customers. They didn't care. Frustrated

We stopped here as our halfway point to Port Canaveral for a cruise. It was clean and easy access to interstate. Miss Sheryl served a great breakfast downstairs. Easy check in and out... Would stay again.

We had a free room with the BW but was unable to use it due to the hotel policy of only allowing to give two free nights away a day, which were used. If u have a earned a free room you should be allowed to use it! ??

I met my brother here for a mini family get together. We each got a room. Everything was so clean. Breakfast was wonderful. So much to,chose from. The only way it could have been better was if a Dunkin Donuts was at this exit. I love their coffee.

This was a great place to stay. It was very clean and the staff was very good. I don't have any complaints and I'm a very picky person. LOL I read all the reviews on this hotel before I chose to stay and they didn't disappoint. I would stay here again.

The price is good and the accommodations are fabulous! I don't know how old this property is, but it feels brand new. Everything is immaculate. The desk clerk was congenial, which was a welcome respite after being held up in Atlanta traffic and another incident for an extra hour and half. Breakfast this morning was very good and the breakfast room was as neat, clean, and well cared for as the rest of the property. This is a "highly recommend" property.

Can't say anything bad about our one night stay. Staff was great, had a nice breakfast the next morning before continuing our trip. My wife left her ring in the room and they found it and kept it for us to pick up on our way home. We will stay there again the next time we travel south in their area.

The check in procedure was tedious. Over a half an hour. The young guy working the counter was nice but needed more training. Made the reservation through Best Western13 hrs. ahead of time and indicated in the special request 2 cats and to contact me if there was an issue with pet room availability. Received a call asking if we were arriving soon and I indicated about half an hour away. All good right? Not so much. No awareness of pet request, although it was there upon closer inspection. Given a key to pet room, except wrong key for room, room was not made up at 9pm. Back to office for right key. Once in the room, it was fine, clean and comfortable. One downside, noisy A/C compressor. Parking was very tight especially with light duty utility trucks there. A positive was breakfast. Real scrambled eggs, excellent sausage gravy, and very good bacon. Sheryl in the breakfast area was in a word, wonderful. An asset for sure.

This was a very pleasant stay. Very helpful staff. Very clean room and hotel appearance. Parking is slim though. Would highly recommend this hotel for anyone. Plan on booking again here. Did not meet anyone working there that did not have a smile and something nice to say.

Property did not honor Best Western's corporate policy of Worldwide free night redemptions. The check-in employee, while standing in front of a Best Western corporate banner stating such proceeded to charge me $5.00 for my points redemption. Not a lot of money, but seems dishonest to me. And, the checkin employee could not explain why there was that charge. It was around 6PM and after a 350 mile drive all we wanted to do was go to bed, so we paid the $5.00. Then the room he sent us to had not been cleaned. He then upgraded us to a nicer room.

We were truly impressed with our stay. Staff was friendly and helpful and room was extremely clean. Will be recommending this hotel to our family and friends. A big shout to all staff for making our stay enjoyable.

Decided get a room here to rest before the birthday shenanigans. If you look at the picture, the room is very spacious. The bathroom very clean. Water is hot and the pressure was perfect. The shower head settings all felt good. The bed sheets looked brand new, pillows fluffy and the bed was comfortable. Best sleep I have gotten in awhile. The reason for me taking a star away, was staff. The front desk clerk was rude and had an attitude. Also check out is 11:00 but for some reason housekeeping felt the need to open (NOT KNOCK) my door at 08:36 and 09:42. Who just walks in a guests room without knocking or some kind of warning...TWICE??

Reasonable price accompanied by a pleasant smelling room (one of my pet peeves is odor, even if only musky, in the room), which was large enough to feel quite comfortable. Far enough from highway to shield road noise. Excellent choices for breakfast and included hot eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy and pancakes; breakfast area was attended by a very pleasant woman. Also a comfortable off-lobby lounge.

Room was ok. by the time we got there there was no parking on our side of the building except handicap parking. Checked in got situated after unloading a car we didn't plan to unload. The room had a faint smell of pets thought it was just that the room had no ac running. about 4 hours later my son had an asthma attack (gets them around cats) packed up and moved on... Had places to be at a set time had no time to argue.

Bed was horrible. Front desk staff at check in was surly and not polite. Breakfast area way to small for size of hotel. Noise from I-475 was loud. No one on duty when checking out. Would never stay here again.

We stay at this hotel when we travel between FL and GA a couple times each year. The staff is super friendly and accommodating and the hotel itself is very well maintained . The rooms are updated and clean as well. We like this hotel! A great value!

For the price, I found to room to be very appealing and comfortable. Parking was tight the first night of my stay as a double cab pickup with a trailer occupied several of the spaces. The receptionism could use some improvement.

A step off the interstate will get you into this quiet little gem with the Best Hot Tub I have ever seen. Great staff and caring owners make this a special place. Recent and on going maintenance has returned the property to nearly new condition adding to the value received.

This isn't a great location for a night of uninterrupted sleep. Every guest who arrives is easily heard through the hotel walls. You can hear the car doors slam and the cars honk as owners lock them. I chose this hotel because it is pet friendly, but it was so noisy that it was not a good option for a pet (he wants to investigate every loud noise outside).

Just traveling thru Macon and stopped here for the night. Very convenient to the Interstate and a few restaurants were nearby. The room was comfortable, fairly new and clean. Nothing really stood out but then this was just a one night stay. If I pass thru this way again I would look at them first for availability because I felt were got our money's worth.

Great hotel. Food nearby with lots of choices. Hotel is fairly new. Everthing was awesome. Beautiful room. Very convenient for the I75 traveler. We love the Best Western rewards program. In short you can't go wrong with this hotel.

Hotel was adequate. Good pool if traveling with kids. Beds were hard, no feather pillows - so pillows were hot. Internet wifi was a right off - would disconnect every 2 min. Complained but got nowhere. When travelling for business this is a necessity not a luxury. This was my second time at this hotel. Always willing to give a second try, but not again. Was there 4 nights this time, 13 nights last time.

The person that checked us in was really nice and helpful. The room that we reserved was bigger thanWe enjoyed our stay there. We knew that there was an indoor pool but to our surprise there was also a jacuzzi. It helped us relax. The breakfast was good too.

This was a nice hotel for an older unit with outside doors to the rooms. We received a great deal of help from Shay on the front desk to get us into a handicapped room which I had failed to reserve originally. The problem was a very large group of young dancers apparently in town for a competition. They were middle school aged but were up practicing in the parking lot just outside our door well after 10:00 PM, were running and screaming outside the doors after practice and again at 7:00 AM in the morning. They showed a complete lack of respect to those of us who had been on the road all day and just wanted a quiet nights sleep. Although this was not the hotels fault they should have prevented it from happening during those night time hours.

We found this BW location perfect .We could walk to restaurants. It was very clean had a nice indoor pool. We felt very safe and all the people we met were very friendly. They had many stories about their Irma experience. The hotel was quiet, rooms large with quiet air conditioning. Selection at breakfast was very good. Food was hot and well presented. Very positive experience after two long days on the road.

We stayed here with our small dog. The room smelled like flea spray. The carpet and cloth chair were dirty. The beds were nice but it is an older hotel. Breakfast was good. I am surprised that AAA and trip advisor recommended this property. This is an older hotel that has had the beds renewed. I will NEVER stay at this property again.

Arrived after 6hr drive. Checkin was a bit slow as receptionist was on the phone, once of the phone was a nice welcome. Room was clean and nice size only down side was the fridge was very noisy. Breakfast was good with nice staff. Check out was fast.

This hotel was a perfect place to stay. We had extremely clean rooms and a hot breakfast with many selections each morning. As evacuees from Hurricane Irma, we found the General Manager Christina and her entire staff compassionate and helpful. Our 5 night stay was comfortable and a surprise free dinner was provided for those of us who had extended stays. We would certainly stay here again and give this hotel our highest recommendation.

Two roaches found in bathroom and one on desk on the day of departure. Staff advised of problem on departure. Room was exceeding clean, staff excellent, was a beacon of light and a place to stay evacuating from Hurricane Irma. Would recommend this Best Western, I'm sure they will deal with this problem immediately.

The staff was caring , they were a great help to everything they always were around they directed you to everything you might need , the place was clean always the house keeping was amazing ! We loved our stay

Nice place and would stay there again. The room was clean and comfortable with a very good breakfast served to start your day. Only drawback that I saw was rooms were entered from the outside hallway and the second floor could only be reached by steps.

Nice clean, comfortable room w/ easy interstate access. Silly thing, but the room had a really nice mini fridge with a very adequate freezer. This came in handy considering it was August in south central Georgia!

My family and I were on a trip to Florida and needed a nice inexpensive place to lay our heads for the night...this place was PERFECT! This hotel was well kept, rooms were nice, pool was clean and the perfect temperature, staff was polite and accommodating, and the location right off 475 was very convenient. The continental breakfast was also top notch. There were many hotels to choose from in this area but for the price this one is highly suggested. We will remember this place to stay in the future.

The motel was easy to get to from I-75. Rooms were clean,comfortable and quiet. Nice complementary breakfast. Wifi worked well. It's everything that you need for the night when passing through. Indoor pool and spa were good, too.

I am fanatical when it comes to clean hotels. This one was very clean. Staff very friendly. Room was updated. Breakfast was good. The eggs were real, not powdered. Price was fair. I will definitely stay here again.

Staff is very friendly but needs updating badly and is not very clean. Hair in bathrooms. Rooms smell musty and air coming out of wall units is very musty and moldy smelling. Breakfast was ok. Very run down...only bright spot was the employees. Would not recommend.

This hotel must have recently been remolded. It was very clean and appeared to have been redone. The stay was awesome the tv was intermidant during the stay but not a big deal. I was very happy with the breakfast. I dont usually stay at best western but would stay again based on this wxperience

Excellent stay! Staff were very friendly and accommodating as we made a last minute decision that could not be help but bring along our beloved dog Callie. Was able to call the hotel and let them know we needed pet friendly room, staff gladly made adjustments to meet our needs. Rooms were very clean & comfortable and very cool even with the very hot humid weather outdoors. My sons ate the complimentary breakfast & were all smiles as this was a real cooked breakfast (gravy & biscuits, eggs, etc). Definitely would stay again and recommend this hotel

We stopped here on a road trip to Florida from Illinois. The rooms were clean, the pool was nice, and the breakfast was delicious! Perfect for what we needed. The staff was also friendly and helpful. The only problem we had was we had to have our room keys re keyed almost every time we left the room.

It's a nice clean motel with very friendly staff, great lighting and nice décor. Even though it has outdoor corridors the area felt safe. The beds were not the most comfortable things, and we could hear noises from outside. There was a fridge and micro in the room as well. Breakfast however was awful! The room is so small that we almost couldn't find seats (opposite sides of a high top). There was no butter, not much food to pick from and the eggs tasted so bad we couldn't eat them. Good place for a night but take advantage of the fridge and just buy donuts!

Motel was average, and appeared clean. Would have given an excellent rating except the non-smoking room reeked of smoke and product designed to cover the smoke smell. It didn't!. Ther e was no elevator at this location so there were no other rooms available as we can't navigate stairs.

Very nice and quiet with friendly staff. Very close to the Interstate but quiet. Many locations close to eat and shop. Easy access to the interstate with plenty of free parking. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very nice with lots choices of foods.

This hotel has a great breakfast but if you are a non-smoker, do not take a smoking room. Smoke smell is unbearable! There is an indoor pool and Jacuzzi of which I am not a fan of simply because there was no opening, i.e., windows. I like to be outside when there is a pool. The breakfast is better than your typical free continental breakfast. They have a pancake making machine instead of the typical waffle one. Great breakfast!! I would stay here again!

No frills but everything was as it should be and great value for the price. Very clean both in room and grounds. Front desk very efficient. Check in and out very fast. Did not eat breakfast so can't comment on that. Towels are basic but good size and soft and absorbent. Each bed was a queen and had 4 pillows. Bedding was not luxury but was soft and great weight. AC was SUPER cold and not very noisy. Hallways are exterior so you can park near your room. Request room away from front if road noise will bother you. Hotel is right. near interstate. Shower was great. Carpet and flooring were new. We were in room 201. You will be satisfied with this property.

Check-in clerk very knowledgable about area and promotions! Great service including helping with toilet situation. Surprised there was a pool and whirlpool at this price! Sadly, our room was on the end nearest to the highway (rrrrrooom-rrrrrrrooom) so request NOT to get that. Also, air took all night to kick in and woke up middle of night freezing. Smell in room of cleaning strong when we arrived. Great room with clean areas and well maintained!

Ms. Christina (Manager) and her entire staff show high standards of customer service. At Macon Inns and suites a traveler is feels more like a family member then a guest. Rooms are very clean and if you encounter a problem, Staff on duty will do their best to resolve any issues.

Over the past 3 years we have been staying in hotels from La Quinta Inn to Hampton Inn but, this hotel has changed our view in quality hotels in general. Will be returning to a Best Western for our next trip.

This hotel has two things going for it; 1) friendly staff at front desk and 2) warm water in shower. That's all. Rooms are worn, beds are like sleeping on wood boxes, air conditioner goes from not cooling room at all to freezing you out. We're not high maintenance people, but we will skip this hotel in the future. I'm a little confused where the previous good/great reviews came from.

The breakfast was not good. At other Best Western I had a great breakfast. The waffles were hand made by a human not a machine. Also the biscuits were homemade. The only reason that went to the hotel was because of the great food.

Good clean place. Kids loved the indoor pool. Need more dairy free options at breakfast. And label the items for food allergy sufferers. Need to have place people can smoke away from nonsmoking rooms. But this is our second stay at this hotel and we will stay here again. We recommend it. And the staff is very nice and polite.

Excellent hotel in Macon, GA which is a good stop for travel from NC to FL. All aspects of this hotel were very good for the price charged. The only downfall was an inconsiderate family with kids knocking on doors after checking in at 2 am.

Driving from Ohio to Florida found this place on bestwestern.com , very hard to find a smoking room. Anywhere. Did not know that the doors were on the outside of holtel, so I was still able to step outside to smoke . Very happy with the service and room , would recommend this place to anyone!

Excellent hotel with clean rooms and friendly staff. Had a large group of family meet there for a birthday and was really impressed with the overall experience. You will not beat this place for a low cost hotel.

At check in I was greeted in the lobby by the overpowering smell of a disinfectant cleaner. Water tap on the bathroom sink in my room was not working properly so only hot water would come out of the tap. I had a good nights sleep but I came away thinking that this location is not very well managed.

We've stayed several times at this hotel on our way to/from Florida. The price is right (AAA discount!), rooms are adequate and clean, a/c is a workhorse. Check-in is easy, check-out is even easier, staff is pleasant. Indoor pool is decent, warm, plenty of towels--we never miss a chance to swim when staying here. Ms. Sheryl has been doting on us for breakfast every time we've stayed and is as warm as Georgia sunshine, like an auntie you look forward to visiting. The hotel is a comfortable property we've come to count on as a regular stop on our vacation adventures.

2:30 in the morning the night clerk came pounding on our door till we answered. The problem? The "computer" could not remember which room we were in! So rather that not rent a room, he woke us up in the middle of the night pounding on our door!!!! Apologize? Nope!! Worst night ever! Worst hotel ever!

A good hotel for the price. The pool was heated which was great. Breakfast was good. Staff was excellent. I didn't realize this was a motel vs hotel and that is the reason for some of the low ratings.

Good accomodations for those travelling just across Atlanta to stop in order to pick back up to head further south (Florida). Nice area, quiet, and clean hotel and room. Will definitely use this hotel again for future travels. Kudos to the hotel staff!

We stayed here in March because of the TripAdvisor reviews. I didn't see any reviews that said there is no elevator. All the ground-floor rooms were taken because of a church tour bus group. We travel with a lot of stuff that needs to be taken into the room at night so it was difficult going up and down the stairs. We probably would not stay here again, but it was a very acceptable motel. Would also prefer staying at motels with no pets.

Easy to find, seems to have been updated and to be well-maintained. Very, very clean; even the parking lot was spotless. Decent breakfast, staff friendly and helpful. Only thing keeping it from a five-star review is the staff rattling past my window at 6:30 AM with a wheeled trash can or cart. This hotel still goes on my repeat list.

The room was clean, bed and pillows were comfortable. Microwave and mini fridge. Grass to walk your dog. Good lighted parking lot. Breakfast had a great variety. Pancake machine, clever! Staff was friendly.

Staff courteous and helpful. Pool was locked, but staff opened quickly and let us in. Grandkids had a ball in the pool. They even used the Jacuzi. Room was clean, with two queen beds. Breakfast had a nice variety that even the kids ate.

I stay at this hotel twice a year. I would not stay any place else in Macon, GA. The rooms are always clean. The staff either at the front desk or in the breakfast room as all very helpful. I travel by car twice a year. So, I know the good and the bad. This Best Western is the BEST.

My wife and I were returning home from a trip to florida for my sons 18th birthday and his girlfriend and decided to stay somewhere in Macon, Georgia. We checked several hotels, needing one that was pet friendly and all were really expensive or they looked run down. So we decided to try Best Western. It was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. The price was very reasonable and the pet fee was only ten dollars. All the other hotels were $75 to $100 for pet fee. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Especially kyle who worked the breakfast area. He tried to make sure everyone had what they needed and that you knew where everything was located. I watched him explain to several customers how to use the pancake machine and he usually done it for them. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I have a bad back and the beds were perfect. Even the pillows were soft and fluffy. We will definitely stay here again when traveling through the area.

We needed a halfway stop on our way to Clearwater Beach Fl. Macon seemed about right so I checked Tripadvisor for reviews and made a reservation through Expedia since the reviews were positive and I liked the idea of a hot tub after a day's drive. When we arrived the motel was being updated. Parking lot was being re paved, parking spaces painted. Some furniture was strewn outside from the rooms and painting of the outside and the rooms was going on. My first thought was "oh no, great". Luckily they apparently had finished the rooms on one side of the motel and the parking lot so all worked out. Our room was like brand new and spotless. The carpet looked new, but there was no smell like you often get with fresh paint etc. We only stayed one night, but this is the best... Best Western I have ever had the pleasure of staying in and I have stayed in many. The bed was very comfortable too. The indoor pool and the hot tub are located in a separate adjacent building just a few steps from our room. We had it all to ourselves really enjoyed it. Breakfast was great with the BW waffles, eggs, bacon etc. BW really knows how to make a great free breakfast and this motel didn't disappoint. Lots of food places within a mile of the location and a shopping mall just up the road if you forgot something. I would stay here again if I ever pass through this area again. Highly recommend!

We topically travel through this area once or twice a year. Whenwe found this particular motel, we stopped looking for another because we were extremely satisfied with the facilities and services. In addition, it is very convenient to I-475.

Room very nice and clean for an excellent price. Had a small problem during booking about 3 weeks before arrival; but, Manager corrected problem at check in. Hotel very close to Walmart and many resturaunts.

Due to severe weather conditions, we arrived much later than anticipated (2:30am). We called and we're assured our room would be held until our arrival. Upon check in, we were given a late checkout which was greatly appreciated. Clean, comfortable and great customer service. This place is a peach!

We arrived from Michigan around 12pm on May 13th and I had asked my husband to go in and ask if the room was ready so we can relax. When he went in they said the room is ready but check in isn't until 2pm. If the room was ready why couldn't we check in a little early? After 33 hours of no sleep, it was frustrating to have to find something to do while waiting as we had already ate lunch. At 1:50pm I had gone in and asked if we could check in. The person at the desk looked at the clock and was like check in is at 2.... but I guess I can check you in early. Great! Only it took her 20 mins to check me in because we originally requested a crib and then I cancelled it but she still charged me for it. It took a while for her to figure out how to reverse the charge and I don't think I ever got my $10 back on my card. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was awfully hard and uncomfortable. It suited our needs for one night.

Second time we have stayed here. Very clean, large rooms and nice friendly staff. Breakfast was one of the best we have had. The lady working there was the best. We will stay here on more if our trips. I recommend it,

We stay at this hotel when we are on our way to Florida to visit our daughter at college. The rooms are always clean and staff friendly. Breakfast is the usual with hot foods but it is very good and the women who works the breakfast room is friendly and helpful.

Great overnight spot & easy access. Haven't hoteled it much since owning a RV but this was good. Didn't get to use pool or whirlpool but checked it out & wanted to use it, what a great setup. Being from Ky. it was nice to see a Bourbon trail brochure in the lobby

Overall I enjoyed my stay. Would stay again. Stay there once before, was empressed with how quiet the room was, also pet friendly is an added feature for when I travel with my husband & pet. The location is about half way from our home in Fl to our home in NC.

A nice clean and affordable motel that looks good and is right off the freeway, so you can hear the traffic. It has all the amenities with an indoor pool, free breakfast, WiFi and is pet friendly. This is a nice place and a good value.

We have been coming here for several years every 3 months and it gets better every time we come. We highly recommend this motel. The staff as well as the accommodations are the best of most any motel we have ever stayed in.

My wife and I traveled from Jacksonville, Florida to Chattanooga, Tennessee over Easter weekend. Since we were getting a late start on the Thursday before Good Friday, we figured we'd stop a little further than half way, and Macon was a good place. We had chosen the I-475 Bypass section of Macon a couple of times before and felt comfortable with it, but in the past we had our dog so our choices were limited. This time we didn't. We selected the Best Western Inn & Suites because of its ratings and its price. We also selected a King Room with a whirlpool, so we could relax from the hours of driving. GREAT SELECTION!!! The room was very quiet, the bed was comfy, the FREE breakfast was very good, and the whirlpool was just what the doctor ordered. We will certainly stay there again on our next trip!

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel - another pleasant experience, clean room, and the breakfast attendant alone is worth staying here! They also helped me get a first floor room, even though I didn't request on my initial reservation.

Sometimes I am nervous about staying at an older motel. This hotel was in the right place and at the right price for my needs. As we drove up, my wife said, I'm not staying here if it's a dump! Surprise, Surprise, Surprise! This is not a dump. The receptionist was pleasant and efficient. The room and bathroom were very clean, the beds were comfortable. Not much more to say. We will stop here again as we travel I-75.

This was the worst place we stopped at in 7 years of traveling south. Do not plan on staying there again. Will be staying at La Quinta Macon. The room was dirty, phone did not work, the bed was very uncomfortable & made a loud noise every time you turned in it! Also I had a voucher for a free night & the clerk didn't know how to do it. I don't blame her, I don't think she was trained to do it. However she couldn't get onto the site to see if she could figure it out!

Room was second floor with no elevator making it difficult to haul heavy luggage. Thin doors and walks and no heat on cold night. Internet too weak. Breakfast was good with real eggs. A nice surprise for sure

We make the Best Western on Chambers Rd in Macon, GA our normal stop on our way down to Florida from Indiana. We stopped here with another family this time. We had 2 rooms. Check-in was quick and friendly. They put us in rooms next to each other. The kids enjoyed the pool after a long 11 hours in the van while us adults relaxed. The room was very clean and looked like it had new carpet and I liked the hardwood looking linoleum flooring in the sink and bathroom areas. Beds were comfortable. It was an affordable quick overnight stay. The continental breakfast was well stocked though the eggs leave a little to be desired but loved the pancake machine. Would recommend this place to anyone to stay on their way to Florida.

We stopped for the night and was pleasantly surprised about everything, from the room, breakfast, comfort . . . everything was wonderful and we hated to leave! The internet was fast and the beds were very comfortable. The room was really clean and the breakfast was very good, too! If I'm ever in the area again, I'd stop here again!

Very well maintained, clean and peaceful; polite staff, easy access to highways and tourist attractions. An older building with nice updates and attention to detail in modernization. The indoor pool building was very clean. Well maintained landscaping. Outdoor entrances to rooms made it easy to unload and load up.

I was given a smoking room after telling them I prefer nonsmoking. The room was dingy and smelled like an ashtray giving me a massive headache. The noise from the interstate and quality of the bed made it a completely restless night.

We stayed on a trip from Michigan to Orlando, longer leg first day allowed us to get in Orlando just in time for check in 3pm. Located close to shopping and good restaurants. Hot breakfast was very good, good service, room was ok, nice shower.

Stay 2 nights, the breakfast was good & the employees were friendly. The rooms were clean. We use the spa and pool that was good too. The breakfast had pancakes, eggs, oatmeal, apple & orange juice, grits, yogurt, milk, bacon & sausage. Very good. Not far from downtown Macon.

Very good breakfast, hot, most do not have bacon and this one did. Great beds and very comfortable. Too much noise from upstairs bumping from the ceiling/floor. There was a party going on. Rooms are clean, checkin clerk very nice. I needed a handicap room and it was a very nice bathroom with the handrails.

On our way to Florida, we stopped here for the night. The room was very nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. But what surprised us was the 'free' breakfast, one of the best I've experienced on our trips on the Florida/Wisconsin trek since we've been doing this for the last few years. I don't usually leave a tip because....well most are not very good, but the lady in the breakfast room was very sweet, offered to make our waffles and refilled the coffee, (really good coffee!!), the eggs were hot and good biscuits.

This is the second time this year we have stayed here. Clerk, whose name is Mark, took care of people ahead of us then started on us, the phone rang, he answered and said he was with customers and please hold. FINALLY someone with sense. Room looked clean and smelled fresh. Beds and pillows were good. Nice size flat screen TV. . We were in a handicap room as they were short on rooms due to tile replacement in 8 of them. Did not use the pool this trip. The laundry room was next door and they were running their cart and banging the door at 2 a.m. and by 6 a.m. housekeeping was in full work mode. Breakfast was pretty good. Check out is quick...put the key card on the ledge inside by the window and close the door.

Reserved a room here for 2 adults and our small dog. We usually pick Best Western because they are pet friendly. The room we were given turned out to have a terrible odor of pet urine. The hotel was booked solid because I-95 was flooded and traffic was heavy in this area, so no other place to go at that time of evening. The sheets appeared clean, so we stayed. After about 20 minutes of walking around on the carpet in our bare feet, we noticed that our feet became covered in filthy grime off of the carpet. This hotel was redoing their bathrooms to new tile. Our dog started itching terribly about 3:00 o'clock in the morning. Got really scared about fleas, but did not actually see any. Breakfast was about a 2 on a scale of 1 to 10. I let the front desk lady know upon check out about the 2 major conditions of smell and filthy carpeting. She seemed to know and said they were upgrading. Sorry -- not good enough. If you are remodeling, take a few rooms out of service and do them 100% -- don't have guests stay in dirty conditions. Will not stay here again.

For the first night of hurricane Matthew this was the only hotel I could find to book. Thank goodness it was only for one night. The room was more depressing than my house with hurricane shutters.So dark and shabby, with an entrance to the parking lot. The neighborhood, if you can call it that, was a mess o cheap motels and horrible traffic, and did noteven seem safe. Never again.

We stayed here for one night on our way to Florida. The motel is the kind with the exterior walkways. Our room was clean and comfortable. Showers had good water pressure and hot water. We didn't hear any noise from the outside or rooms next door. Breakfast was good and hot. We'd stay here again.

3 Adults traveling were able to get 2 comfortable queen beds. The room had a microwave and a good sized refrigerator with a freezer. The hot breakfast had many options and the attendant kept the area very clean and stocked. Room was clean and attractive.

The BW is in a convenient location, even on a major road it is a quiet place, but...our room was showing its age. Plumbing in the bathroom had been poorly repaired, Had a bit of trouble turning the shower on and off. A/C unit had a "ring" to it when running. On the plus side the free breakfast was one of the better we have found in a BW. Well prepared and hot, yes the typical BW fare, but nice staff and clean. We will stay again as we pass though.

Very clean, quiet and comfortable. Best stay of our 5 day trek to Wyoming. Even had a hot breakfast. Very friendly staff. Lots of pillows with comfortable beds and linens. Plenty of parking. It was convenient to our Highway yet far enough away so we heard no road noise. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Two Adults stayed one night in King Bed size room on the 2nd floor. The room was clean and comfortable. Front desk was friendly and had our room ready when we arrived early, which was a nice bonus. Would stay here again.

Had a reservation, checked in about 11pm after driving all day. Lady at front desk was very nice. That is the good. Room had a VERY strong cleaning fluid odor. Went to bed right away , but woke up itching later. Realized there were fleas! We didn't have a dog. When I asked for a refund in the morning, I got $11 discount...not good enough!

We stay at this BW site when traveling I-75 North & South for several years. If traveling North thru Atlanta leave around 9am and when reaching the Atlanta area get into the HOV lane until the end. The HOV lane is great going North or South and is less stressing. Try to avoid the going to or from work travelers by choosing an off hours to go thru Atlanta.

Been staying at this BW for over 12 years. Always clean, great . For seniors. it is a great value. The prices fit to our budget very nicely and we can relax at a very comfortable place. Since they have gotten new bedding, it is to die for. I sleep so well there, I want to take it home.

Enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly and very helpful. They even allowed us to park our motorcycle under the front awning. Breakfast area was very well managed. Our bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Felt it was a bargain for the price.

Reserved this room on our way home from Ohio and used our Best Western Points (Platinum Member) to save some money. Based on the reviews, we assumed it was a nice hotel. It was actually a real dump. The room was dirty (icky hairs in the bathroom and bathroom area). We tried to take our kids to the pool only for the management to kick them out after ten minutes (in their broken English they said it was closed). We were kind to these people explaining the kids needed to dry off but they ran us out.The location was awful and none of us got sleep because we were scared. Should not be considered a Best Western Hotel. Motel 6 is probably a better choice.

My spouse and I stayed one night on our drive north. It was perfect for us: well maintained, clean room, comfy bed, modest price. Our room was really CLEAN- not a fleck of mildew in the tub, not a drop of anything in the mini-fridge, not a piece of lint on the carpet. There were damask type sheets in the bed and fluffy towels in the bath. No odors, despite the ridiculous humidity of this area. The grounds were clean too- zero trash. Not even a cigarette butt. The free breakfast was more than good- tasty, warm, fresh. If you must find downsides, you have to look off the property itself. A couple of nearby buildings are in disrepair, the local Waffle House has some scruffy clientele and the trucks of the nearby freeway create a constant dull roar. Inside our room that all was completely irrelevant. Enjoy this place--a business that delivers quality at a modest price.

Just stayed one night, but it was exceptionally clean and well run. Not too far from anything and easy to get to. Beds were great, room was large and Clean. Breakfast was good and the lovely attendant ( whose name I didn't get) even makes your waffles if you like. A very pleasant place and one that the owners and managers should be proud of.

We stayed here for one night....one night too many. The front desk staff was friendly....no problems checking in. The room on the other hand was old, smelly and the neighborhood was scary! Got into our room, smelled of very strong cleaner. Bed was so so. Appeared to be clean. The tv did not work...had to wait for maintenance to fix it. Took about 2 hours for maintenance to show up. Area is not safe in my opinion. Next to this best western was an econolodge. Viewed sketchy activity by people staying there. It appeared the individuals staying there were not travelers. We had concerns for our moving truck we had parked outside. Go to another hotel in another town!

The room was clean, well maintained & appeared to have been recently remodeled. Service at check in, check out & at breakfast was cordial & efficient. The location is very convenient to the interstate & local restaurants. I will definitely stay there again & will recommend it to others.

Clean and neat. Best Western always my first choice on the road. Plenty of hot water, good breakfast, convenient location. Restaurant close by and gas station too. Indoor pool and had a quiet side of building.
