"Cycling trip overnight stay."
GarethS548, 27 Septembre 2023

Near the centre of the busy large town of Macerata. Helpful staff with ample parking and a large garage for the bikes. Breakfast was an extra 7 euros but worth it. Rooms atypical hotel chain, no character but functional.

"An okay hotel"
IzzysTravel, 20 Décembre 2019

This hotel is a bit of a mixed bag. The location is good in that it's easy to reach by car and you also have some buses going along the street below. However, Macerata's old city is a bit away if you're walking. The building itself is older. That's very apparent in the state of the elevators and the locks. The room is spacious. However, the decor is stuck in somewhere in the 80s. The mattress and the pillows are thin, while the bed is big. There is a fridge, which isn't that common in Italy. No tea service though. There is air conditioning, but it was really loud. I decided to open the window. While I did hear cars from the road, it was better. My bathroom was a vibrant yellow. Not very appealing. The toilet and the bidet were strangely high. I'm a regular sized woman, and my feet didn't touch the ground. Breakfast was the usual for Italy. Lots of sweets and not a lot of savoury. I could ask for soy milk from the waitress, who was lovely by the way. All the staff were nice. Overall, this wouldn't be a bad hotel, but the rooms need an update badly. Most of the visitors were Italian, so they don't need to expand on the breakfast offerings. "Nice budget hotel"
Graham L, 09 Décembre 2017

I've stayed here twice now while visiting Macerata. This is a very inexpensive hotel, but very nice and great location. The staff are wonderful, rooms clean and sharp, good on-site parking, nice breakfast too. I will stay here again on my next visit to the town.

"Feeling at home WHEN you arte far away from home"
maoetta, 16 Octobre 2017

A very good location, warm staff in a beautiful out skirt of one of the most beautiful area in Italy . The staff is nice the man at the reception make you feel at home.the hotel has a bus stop nearby so you get around for Macerata. I tried the hotel restaurant and it has been an amazing experience. Home made fresh fettuccine make you forget the tiredness of your trip. Rooms are well furnished and the bed very comfortable. I suggest to book the continental or American breakfast to begin your day on the right track

"Business hotel"
Teeathome, 29 Août 2017

We stayed here overnight. On the outskirts of town with no restaurant. We walked into town and had plenty of choice and found a wonderful osteria. The rooms are well appointed, very clean, comfortable bed, air conditioning. Slept well. Breakfast was a good selection for continental breakfast. The police park outside the hotel and use it for coffee. The receptionists weren't particularly friendly but would use again for overnight stay.

I went to Macerata as my daughter was doing summer school university there so I was looking for a central base close to her accommodation and the town. I booked online for 8 nights. When I arrived at midnight by taxi I was exhausted and the man at reception offered to do all the formalities in the morning. The hotel is quite old fashioned and a little out of town but it is very clean and the staff are very friendly. It's certainly far from luxury but it is a 3 star hotel. Very few staff spoke more than a few words of English but with the Microsoft translation app I could get by. The hotel is on a circle bus route, so you can catch the bus and do a tour of whole town or walk to the old town once you figure out the way. The service station next door sells bus tickets as do all the tobacco shops. The breakfast is continental and the same every day but with quite a range- cereal, yoghurt, sweet cakes, toast, cold meats and cheeses, so I never ever needed lunches. The staff make fresh coffee and whatever you choose. I tried American, Latte and finally found Latte Macchiato suited my taste best. There is a bar and cocktail area but I didn't use that facility. I enjoyed the atmosphere of the place and never felt uncomfortable being a solo traveler. The weekend is very busy in the Opera season but during the week was very quiet. I am not a smoker but smokers need to smoke outside and there is seating under umbrellas at the front with a lovely view of the old town. My only negative was the room fridge wasn't very cold but I ate all my meals out so it didn't affect me.

"Spotless, quite charming accommodation in a good location"
ybyd, 01 Août 2016

Lovely non-smoking BW in a good location - centre of town is a flatish 20 minute walk in what is a fairly hilly location but with nearby bus stops plus a local train station about 600 yards away. Hotel is spotlessly clean and has nice public spaces which include a sun terrace just outside the main entrance. My room was large, well appointed with lovely furniture and simple but beautifullly-tiled bathroom complete with an amazing rainfall shower. They didn't sort out an issue for me which was disappointing but fairly minor overall. Staff pretty friendly. Didn't have breakfast but must have been a bargain at only 4 euros. Would I stay again? As good as many 4 stars I have stayed at so definitely.

"Natural choice if I go back to Macerata"
Someishere, 03 Septembre 2015

This hotel is situated close to the nice town Macerata. Coming from the highway it can be a little bit difficult to find. However, it's situated in a hill and have free parking outside the entrance. It looks a little bit old fashioned and I think is because the have painted walls in dark yellow colour. However, the room was very nice and as well the staff. For 5 euro an acceptable breakfast. If a go back to Macerata this hotel will be the natural choice for an overnight.

"Brief but pleasant stay"
Runner008, 13 Mai 2015

We chose this hotel as a stopover on our regular drive from Puglia to the UK, based upon driving time. Until we got to Macerata we thought we may have made a mistake in travelling so far from the motorway. However, Macerata is a lovely city and the hotel is a very good standard. The staff on arrival were friendly and helpful and came up with a good restaurant nearby. Breakfast was good with a wide choice and, again, helpful staff. No bad points to report save that the "high-speed" internet was slow.

"Great place to stay!"
Daniele P, 12 Octobre 2014

I have been here many times and recently in September. I and my wife are often on traveling and visiting places in Europe and US and kindness and professionalism of this staff is really unique. Clean and quite rooms. Parking is ok. The city centre is at walking distance. Breakfast is unbelievable, aligned with most international hotels. Cost effectiveness is a plus. Great!

"Convenient and quiet"
jacoposki, 24 Août 2012

We booked at the last minute for a night during our return trip from southern Italy. Finding the place wasn't exactly easy, but there are a few signs on route, just the last turn is sort of hidden. Reception is open 24 hours, so we had no problems at all even arriving around midnight. We were assigned a room on the third floor, with a beautiful view towards city center. The room itself was very decently sized and clean, bed was nice and comfy, bathroom was fine (although VERY yellow). Only thing that baffled us was the fact that we couldn't find a way to turn off the light in the entrance passageway other than turning it off from the switchgear (conveniently placed), and no way at all to turn off the bathroom light. It wasn't an inconvenience but it looked like an unnecessary waste. Breakfast (included in the 65 euros for the night) is held in a spacious room in the basement, with a pretty rich buffet. All in all a very acceptable place considering we found it at the last minute from a mobile phone during travel. Not the best of locations (given the heat, walking to city center wouldn't have been nice), but nice place we'll consider again should we return to visit the beautiful surprise that Macerata was.

"Ok, but not convenient location"
Monica C, 25 Août 2007

I stayed at I Colli on a short business trip and found the room quite confortable: well furnished, new bathroom, extremely quiet (this feature very important to me) and with a great view on the hills surrounding Macerata. Staff is nice and helpful. However, the hotel's location makes necessary either to have a car, or to book in advance one of the very few Macerata's taxis. So you end up wasting a lot of time and money on taxi rides around the town. Last but not least: very poor breakfast. Next time I would definitely choose a more central hotel.
