SureStay by Best Western Lovelock

Good budget motel for the money, nice service, easy to get to room and comfortable bed. WIFI is available in the main lobby only. Like most budget motels, it could use some updating. The TV was probably 15 years old and had some display defects, but overall can't complain for the great rate I had.

Located in a casino just off the freeway. ..Convenient location. Direct TV. watched movie. Many construction workers staying at hotel.Friendly staff..No complementary breakfast. No internet. Cell service. Grill had typical food. Fresh salad.

The rooms are great. The restaurant is amazing. Unfortunately compared to the 3rd where I honestly had the best experience of any hotel, the morning clerk today was extremely rude and had a poor attitude. I do not think I could ever return here with the rudeness I received today.

This hotel has a casino so I assumed getting quarters for their washer/dryer wouldn't be a problem — wrong! The front desk told me to go the bar to get change. The guy at the bar walked me back to the front desk like I was in trouble. With anger in his voice, he said to the clerk behind the front desk, “WE DON'T HAVE ANY QUARTERS. DON'T SEND GUESTS TO THE BAR!” The lady at the front desk sheepishly replied, “Well, we don't have any either.” I was told to go across the highway to get change if I wanted to laundry. After using the quarters for the dryer, one unit didn't work, but took my money, the other didn't have any heat. I was told I had to find another laundry to dry my wet clothes, or wait until a repair person showed up. On top of the that confusion, the internet didn't work while we were there. A loud freight train passes by the hotel twice during the night, and a guy ran his truck in the parking lot for a half hour with the fumes coming in our room. Ugh!!! Avoid.

I have been staying here for 20 years, well before became a Best Western. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Rooms are nice with refrig and microwave, plenty of hot water. The TV is now much better with Direct TV, and the internet seems more reliable.

Old hotel with fresh coat of paint, new microwave refrigerator, bed clean sheets, clean towels. Terrible service from the employees. Noisy Room maintenance is extremely lacking. it's still a 40-year-old shower bathtub and a safety latch, and the door is totally worthless.

I was looking for somewhere a little cheaper than the rooms in Winnemucca. I travel over 100 nights per year on business and usually stay in Best Western hotels. I know that Surestay is on the lower end of their brand but I thought I would try it anyway. This place just felt sketchy from the minute I arrived. I didn't have any problems. I kept looking over my shoulder the entire time I was there and r was really glad when I was on the road the next morning. I won't be going back.

We decided to stay in Lovelock during a road trip and decided to stay at the SureStay in Lovelock. So glad we spent the night here. The room was very nice and the bed very comfy. The on-site restaurant has good food and the waitresses very nice

Good motel with standard in room amenities of refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, free WiFi, OK cable TV menu. Reasonable price. Regarding earliest check in time, the website states 3 PM, but their policy is actually 4 PM, rather late in my opinion. I got there a little after 2 PM (having "gained" an hour travelling from Mountain Time to Pacific Time), so admittedly I was a bit early. The desk clerk told me I'd have to wait 2 hours according to policy. I pointed out that the parking lot was completely empty and that on a weekday, they must have something available in Lovelock, which isn't exactly a "destination" town in late October! Fortunately, her supervisor came on duty as we were discussing this and made a check of room availability and allowed me to check in "early." I thanked her and had a good restful stay on my way back to California.

So I booked this hotel only because everything was sold out due to eclipse travelers. I was really grossed out by multiple items. 1- coffee maker in bathroom next to the toilet. 2- so many dead flies in the light fixtures. 3- dusty and smelly. The lady at check in very nice but service at the restaurant was terrible. We would definitely just keep driving to Reno next time and skip this stop!

We weren't sure what to expect. The room was basic but very roomy and clean. We enjoyed Lovelock. It is right on the California trail and has places in town to lock your love. We went to a neat little coffee shop in town and found out about Lovelock.The ownwers were very friendly

room not clean and free breakfast pathetic. bathroom disgusting. not very friendly at all, free breakfast consist of 1 egg, 1 sausage patty and 1 piece of toast. they only took $20 off my room when I felt it should of been comp'd.

The rooms are pretty nice and we appreciated being able to bring our dogs with us. Our only complaint is that our confirmation email states a 3 PM check in time, while the front desk has a sign that check in is at 4 PM. This should be updated in the system. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay!

Friendly staff, clean room, but sink, shower, & hot tub only had lukewarm water, no hot water; complained but no one seemed to care, left one day earlier than planned due to no hot water. This place is good if traveling thru, bjut not as a destination unless they fix the water temperature.

We stayed overnight for a wedding - the hotel was pretty good. We could not get the TV to work, called the front desk for help. They told us to push the reset button, we tried that and it didn't work work. We didn't call for more help. The restaurant on-site was good - we ate breakfast there, most of the members of our party were satisfied with their meals. The pillows were not very good, but I travel with my own just in case.

The lady that checked me in was rude and would not answer questions I had. The room was backed by a road which you could hear every car that went by. It was also backed by train tracks and it sounded like the train was going to come right through the room. I got in and turned on tiny TV and most of the channels on Direct TV didn't work. It didn't get History, Discovery, Hallmark, Fox News, Newsmax or TV land. Also a lot of others. They do not have any comp breakfast options which is why I stay in Best Western Hotels. There was only one Kleenex in the box. It must be close to a stockyard and smelled very heavy of manure. They also would not give me a late checkout without an extra charge which by being a Best Western diamond elite member I am entitled to. This is a crappy old hotel with a very poor coat of paint to make it appear nice. I can't even imagine Motel6 would give them a franchise, let alone as nice as Best Western hotels have been. Horrible experience, NEVER AGAIN!!!!!
