Best Western Hotell Ljungby

Open 24/7 with services and located close to the high way. Good service if you need a room urgent. Would make a stop both with family and on a business trip. The breakfast is fresh in a great setting passing by Pinchos close to the parking if you are in a hurry to leave.

Easy check in and check out. Really nice and modern room, fair gym for the hotel size. They have a jacuzzi too. Excellent breakfast, included in the price. Located by a main road and with an adjoined gas station, you don't stay for the sorroundings, but yet they have some green space. So for a one night stay on the move it's a very good choice. And you have the gas station shop right there in case you need anything.

Very nice staff and a big breakfast, containing a lot of local produce. Big room but old sanatorium type bathroom, with a frayed door. Nice with sauna and gym. A bit off the beaten track, location wise.

We were passing through on our way to Halmstad and my husband had booked this hotel so we could shower eat and sleep in comfort. What a pleasant suprise. Ok, so the room is basic but clean and comfortable and for 1 night I thought it was decent. We ate dinner at Pinchos which is right next to the hotel. The drinks were awesome with a generous pour. If I had to say anything, I would suggest they do not use the greenland shrimp for everything that has shrimp in it. It became a very one note type of meal. For the tostados how about cooking some fresh prawns. I would rather pay a bit extra for that. The part that really surprised us was breakfast. Best and tastiest scrambled eggs I have eaten apart from mine. Lol. No seriously, I loved that my allergies were catered for and there was visible gluten free bread and crackers. We mentioned this once to the lovely lady who checked us in and to see the GF stuff was just awesome. I ate scrambled eggs and bacon...chefs kiss to the staff. Simple and rasty breakfast with everyone considered, thank you Best Western.

It's the perfect stop over place with fantastic breakfast. The service was great and parking is very easy. You can even do your shopping around the corner. The connection to the highway is absolutely convenient.

Only good thing in that motel is that the motel exists and it is easy to find when you have driven straight from France without stopping to escape corona virus and border closing in Denmark. There are only few hotels which admit you in the middle of the night without reservation. We did not find any in Malmö even if we are members of almost all hotel chains. -So the good thing is that the Russians gave us the possibility stay few hours to rest.

We have stayed here before and based upon the good experience decided to stay here again. This time we were unable to book the larger room, so we were forced to rent two rooms for our family, as there was absolutely no way 4 people could fit in a single room. As before, little road noise despite all the hamburger chains and motorway very close by. We did not use the restaurant in the evening, but did enjoy the breakfast in the morning. All in all, we would return. But we would book a bit earlier in order to get access to the rooms which sleep more than two people.

We stayed here for one night. Room was clean, but a little bit small. Breakfast was very nice and the location near the highway is very handy. Near the hotel you can find foodplaces, a gas station and a supermarket. And a big plus for us was that our dogs stayed here free of charge :)

Easy to find and get to fr.o.m. the highway but the view is Mc D and gasstations. Restaurant in the Hotel and Burger places nearby. Nice standard rooms that has all that you need. Sauna. Free wi-fi that works fine. Very friendly staff and a realy nice breakfust buffé with some extra ambition.

This hotel has kind of a "truck-stop" appearance from the outside, but once inside, we were pleasantly surprised. Rooms were clean but small -- too small in fact for a family of four so it was good that there were only three of us! One lower wider bed (not wide enough to sleep 2), one higher thinner bed above (room for one), and a sofa bed which filled the rest of the room which I guess was intended for 2 but it would have been tight. TV was good. Internet was good. Bathroom was fine. I would say there is just too much furniture squeezed into this compact living space! Breakfast was included and was very reasonable, "Swedish standard" I guess is what it should be called. A little of everything, surely something for everyone. We did not use the restaurant in the evening as the dishes were far heavier than what we were interested in. the restaurant was licensed. Some road noise, and I think 3 burger joints (Sibylla, McDonalds, and MAX) within about 50 meters. Also a convenience store onsite and a CityGross within 200 m. Some other shopping as well, not sure. We would return, but would not try and sleep 4 people in the room we booked. There may be larger rooms, not sure. All in all, a good value.

Stayed here for one night and really enjoyed it. Clean with comfortable beds. The real difference is the staff. Really friendly at reception and in the restaurant. We had an evening meal and this was very good. Breakfast buffet was included and had a good selection of dishes. free wifi also.

I had a really positive experience - I was traveling for business, so it was really a place to put my head down. The staff & room were great, breakfast did the job for me too. Dinner might have been a little expensive for me, but it was a relaxed environment for my colleagues and myself.

A good hotel for a short stay. Rooms are decent and clean. Bathrooms would be better with some refurbishment. Restaurant is OK if you do not feel like going out for dinner. Breakfast is good. WiFi works great and gym and sauna are well equipped and open long hours. No air conditioning but forced ventilation helps. It is a low rise building and this is great as you get many sunshine hours in summer and you don't want to sleep in an oven....

My wife and I stayed her one night on our way to Stockholm (the second time actually we stayed here two years ago). The Hotel is situated directly at the S4 Exit S Ljungby together with Mc Donals, Sibylla's, City Gross (Supermarket), Apotheket, Statoil fuel station, and Intersport and a nearby Willy's and Biltema. The rooms are appropriately sized, clean and with modern furniture and TV. There is an Option to have hot water and coffee. The bathroom and especially the shower cabin are small (I see here issues for elderly and more voluminous guests actually when using the shower). Breakfast is included and is from 6 to 10 (very good for People travellling). The hotel restaurant serves lunch and dinner. The city center is approximately 2 km away with a couple of restaurants and shops between Stora Torget and Oxtorget. We liked it for one night and could imagine to stay here even for a short stay (2-3 days). Definitely we would come back here and can recommend it.

Stayed at the hotel for one night due to business meetings in Ljungby. The hotel, rooms and staff were nice. It's a bit different I guess from most hotels I stayed in as the hotel is connected to a petrol station and shop. Unique which I didn't mind but not necessarily giving it a classy flair. Breakfast was ok but not spectacular. OK for a night or two but not somethings to consider for a romantic get away with the wife.

The standard of service given by Michael on reception was exactly what every employee should aspire to. He was very polite, helpful, professional, knowledgeable and efficent as he dealt with our unexpected check-in due to the heavy fog and worked out the most cost-efficient method for us that night, and also contacted the Best Western Baltic Hotel in Sundsvall to make an advance booking for the following night on our journey to Russia. The bed was super comfortable, and the extensive breakfast was delicious too.

This hotel share building and check in area with a gas station. Hard to get to the right door to enter the lobby if you arrive with car, which is a must. Location is not very attractive. Close to highway. Except the hotel restaurant there are fast-food options just 100 meters away. Breakfast was good, with good selection of food.

Came in late, ordered a room for 2 adults and 1 children. had to start by moving almost all the funitures to be able to get the childrens bed ready for the night, rooms are so small. Breakfast was not good. A good thing is that they allowed pets on this hotel.

Stayed here with family on way to High Chapparal. Very clean and modern hotel. Used the jaccuzzi, which was very nice and clean. Staff was very friendly. Great breakfast buffe. The only slightly negative was the dinner menu...the food quality did not match a la carte prices.

We booked a 2 bed room, not realising that one bed would fold down from the wall over the other bed, and that there is a weight limit for that second bed ! So know what you are booking. The hotel is on a busy road, so there is some road noise . The bathroom is extremely compact, and the shower is very small. The room was clean and tidy. Luckily there was a lounge and we pulled the bedding down from the top bed and slept on that. Breakfast was included, and it is served in a huge restaurant, there was only one other person there. All is self serve.

I have spent one night in this hotel, on a business trip from Copenhagen. The place is in the average of a Best Western hotel, nothing to blame. Good wi-fi connection and nice breakfast. For those we are not willing to go down to the city for dinner there is a good choice of fast food places around
