Very budget friendly, close to shopping and restaurants, and major highways..It was a nice 2 story building, we found the room very spacious and QUIET, which was very nice to sleep. Hot beverage was available 24 hours a day, which was nice.

The room was spacious and had all of the amenities one would want. Comfy bed & pillows. Safe & ironing board. Friendly staff. Only bad thing was the jacuzzi tub looked a little worn. Laundry service available. Breakfast included.

We had our reunion and we stayed at the Best Western. The staff is excellent, the grounds and the rooms were way above my expectations. I don't know what you're doing as far as hiring practices, but keep up the good work. The young people at the front desk were outstanding and the evening manager helped us print our boarding passes when we were very tired and worn out. Thanks much for your great service.

"Perfect stay for the Dream Cruise"

We chose this hotel to stay while we visited the Dream Cruise on Woodward. We found it easy to get to and comfortable, the room was large with a great bed, clean bath, this hotel is going through a remodel while we were there but it did not cause us any inconvenience.

This was my second stay in this Best Western, as I have family in the area and it's budget-friendly and in a good location. Right off the expressway, near many restaurants and stores. I never have lofty expectations when staying in a mid-range hotel. This hotel is nicely maintained, comfortable decor, pleasant staff. The bed was very comfortable. Very nice breakfast area and food choices. There were some minor maintenance and housekeeping issues in my room, but, again, nothing major enough to complain about. Towels are very small and not very plentiful in the room when you check-in (there were two of us in the room and only 3 bath towels provided), but I saw housekeepers all over so I could have gotten more if necessary.

"False smoking accusation"

Do not stay at this hotel! My mother and I spent 2 nights there recently, and after leaving we were charged $150 for smoking in the hotel room. Neither my mother nor I have ever smoked, and we certainly did not smoke in our non-smoking room. My mother has called the hotel several times in order to discuss the issue, but management refuses to speak to her. They originally stated it was cigarette smoke, and that there were ashes in the room. However, now they claim that we smoked marijuana and that when they opened the door to our room, it was filled with smoke! I am extremely disappointed in Best Western for their poor management, and will never be staying at one again.

We take very careful consideration and do our due diligence to investigate properly prior to charge the smoking fee that is signed for and agreed to on the check in registration card. I apologize if you still disagree but these charges are valid based on all of the information that was gathering prior to the charge.

we had a great stay. i wish we would have went to this hotel the whole time we was in livonia. just walking in the hotel you could tell it was going to be a great place to stay. the people were really nice and just the smell of the lobby was so inviting. the rooms are really nice. our bathroom was really nice but it was a lil smaller. but it was really clean. when ever we go back down to see the family we are going to be using this holetel.

"Good Deal For The Money"

Stayed here for seven nights and really enjoyed our stay. Rooms were large and tastefully furnished. Air was very nice and cool. Bathroom had lots of counter space but I can see why one of the reviewers had difficulty getting into the shower/tub. It is very high and deep. Just a few blips though. One day we had a do not disturb sign hanging on our door and housekeeping came in anyway. We were a little annoyed. Another day we got a call from the front desk at 6 in the morning asking for the HDI remote or else we would be charged. Say what? As it turned out the lady at the front desk called the wrong room. She could remember what room she loaned the remote too. Again we were a little miffed. Breakfast was very good and the breakfast attendant was very proficient and professional at her job. Check in and we're both very cursory but could have been more courteous. Despite these screw ups we would gladly stay here again during our next visit to the area.

I stay at this BW when I need to stay in the Detroit area. The employees are always friendly, helpful and willing to go the extra mile. I would recommend stay at this best Western anytime of the year. The are adding an indoor swimming pool for those cold winter Michigan days. Brandon was very helpful on this last stay.

The outdoor pool was closed for renovations yet reservation page did not indictate this. Front desk personnel was arguemntative about this inconvenience. Mold smell profusely through room. Mold in the bathroom.

Not the fault of the hotel at all - but the weather this past w/e was like an oven - an average of 92 degree heat - starting at 9:00am! Walking into the hotel to check-in, noticed the temp was barely better than outside and we were worried. Thankfully, the rooms were nice and cool - air worked great! Front desk staff was pleasant and the complimentary breakfast was very nice. The location is very convenient - just off the highway. Nice clean new towels, toiletries, hair dryer, fridge, microwave, etc. The outdoor pool is presently being covered and under construction. Looks like the rooms have been updated recently as well. The only qualm I have is that you need a step stool to get into the tubs! (My elderly parents could not bathe for two days)! Also, second day, our maid failed to replenish the kleenex and most of our towels.

"Pleasantly surprised "

I have to admit, when my Uber pulled up outside the building and I walked into the lobby my thoughts were ‘oh my... where am I?!?' welcome to Detroit. However, the staff were friendly and the room was very spacious with a very comfortable bed. They had all the amenities that you need, nice coffee service, water and a free breakfast downstairs. Although, I just had a coffee there were cereal, waffles, yoghurt all available and I thought it was a nice touch. The only fault I would give them is that the air con unit is very old, I found the room cold so had to put the heat on, which meant a noisy unit blowing out hot air or be chilly in bed. For the price and convenience where I needed to go for my business meeting I was very happy to stay here for a couple of nights. There is also a restaurant across from the hotel where you can get take out and bring back to your room. I must embarrassingly admit I got the chicken wings, which were terribly good! Hope you enjoy your stay

After the change in ownership, the value for quality has gone down. I must say the service is very good but the quality of the brand has gone down. Last few stays I've experienced issues with the rooms and I will stop there.

"Best beds"

We stayed here three nights and rhe room was clean and the beds perfect. The only issue was one night the two rooms next to us had children who were running between the rooms and slamming the doirs which made a loud noise and shook the walls. The mother was talked to by a guaet and she dismissed the complaint and slammed the door. After another hour, it situation calmed down. We understand kids running around, but the doors could be shut quietly.

My family and I checked into the hotel and received the most wonderful customer service from the person behind the counter. I know that my family can be needy, but Blair was always there ready to help. With help from coffee cups to remote controls, she was "Blair" on the spot to make sure our stay was perfect. If you stay, just hope that Blair is working as I know she'll meet your needs as well.

I flew in for a family funeral and only spent a night. I took what they had available wick was a more expensive room. The jacuzzi in the room has hair in it (eeek!) and didn't work. And to top it off, There were ants all over the room (due to the construction outside my guess). Wasn't the best stay.

Our stay was nice. Liked how it had enough room for over size vehicles like ours. The room was clean n had comfortable beds. Good basic breakfast items. Great service! Very friendly staff both hotel desk. N at breakfast. I like how they have both a fridge n microwave oven in the room. The only downside was the jacuzzi tub in our room was broken so we couldn't use it.

"Not worth the price."

The room was very dank and outdated. most of the furnishings were in need of replacing and the king size bed was very uncomfortable. The staff very nice and did a nice job of keeping the place clean..We paid 148 per night and felt the room quality was worth about 60 max. If the room cost 60 I would have not been as disappointed because I would have expected this kind of room for that price.

Our beds have been updated as the furniture has in the double bed rooms. We just upgraded our TVs to 43 inch HD with an added movie package that is included in the price of the room. The room was clean and the rooms are very spacious! The breakfast was very good , and along with the staff it was a pleasant experience. The whirlpool could have been cleaner, and they did supply extra towels in the room for that. The location of this hotel was ideal because it is right off the freeway, but the entrance was a little tricky.

This place is pretty run down, with peeling paint and a construction zone where a pool should be. The room was clean-ish although we had to get used to the mildew smell. No USB. Beds we're clean though and comfortable. The ice machine is broken and water/soda machine took my money.

You noticed the new 43" HDTV, that replaced our former 32" SDTVs, we are currently working to enclose our outdoor pool and make it a year round indoor pool, as we as all the carpet and linens and furniture that we have replaced. The ice machines were not broken during your visit, but had an out of order sign posted to warn people of the water main breaks that occurred during your stay. We did not want our guests to get sick from the possibly contaminated water so we took every precaution necessary to make sure that the hotel was flushed out before returning them to service. We care about our guests safety and security and we hope to see you again soon!

This was our third stay at this lovely hotel and it was definitely not our last!! The friendly staff greet you with a smile and do everything they can to make your stay pleasant. During our stay there were a couple of minor issues that required attention and they were taken care of promptly and professionally. The rooms are large and well appointed. Breakfasts were plentiful and fresh. The hotel location is convenient, close to the I-275 and to many stores and attractions. Highly recommended!! Great value!!

"Old Hotel With Issues"

The first room we were assigned had mold in the shower/tub. We were moved to a second room, which had a water leak in the ceiling. We have used other Best Western Hotels in the past which were in better condition, so we were very surprised when this happened.

We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of June first of July for a car meet in the area. This was not the host hotel but being a BW Rewards member paid off with a no charge upgrade to a Jacuzzi room with courtyard/pool view which was very nice. The breakfast was good as well. We had 2 glitches that prevented a 5 rating: I had presented two BW gift cards at check-in for $10 and $20 to be applied to my bill and I had requested an email receipt at check-out. When I got home, there was no email receipt so I emailed a request and when I received the receipt, there was no $30 credit. I contacted the manager who apologized for the errors and straightened out my bill. We would stay here again when in the area.

They put me in a room that had bathtub that was in disrepair....they TOLD me at check-in that it was broken but it was the last room. They refused to discount me for this inconvenience...the carpet was SOAKING WET...IT REAKED OF MILDEW....and to top it off...they REFUSED TO GIVE ME A REFUND so I could go stay somewhere else....and was RUDE on top OF it....BRANDON should NOT be in this line of work.

I Stopped at this Best Western for business and found the place very well kept up with a friendly staff. When in town for pleasure I will return here with family to enjoy more of the amenities it has to offer. The breakfast was full of many selections with fruit, eggs, sausage, cereal, waffles, drinks and other selections. I definitely would suggest to friends and stay there again.

Had to return to Michigan for a memorial service. We stayed at this hotel and was very satisfied at the service and the rooms as well. Rooms looked to be refurbished recently and were very nice. The common areas as well as the rooms were clean and well kept. The breakfast was nice and had a nice selection of foods. Breakfast was also well stocked, they didn't run out of things after the first hour of serving. We will be staying here for future trips back to Michigan.

An ideal location. Located very close to highways that allow yo to get to major cities like Detroit or Ann Arbor easily. Many restaurants located near by. The breakfast area is clean and quite large. No fighting to get a seat. Quality of the food was excellent and choice was above average. Would stay here again.

Housekeepers were rude and used profanity at lot when ever they had to clean rooms, and did not provide friendly attitude while dealing with guest, complained a lot about doing their jobs, as well as about the amount of time it takes to do Thier jobs

Location of this hotel was good. Breakfast quality needs improve and house keeping staff should be attentive about cleanliness of hallways. The heating/ cooling system, at least in my room, made noise and the temperature was possibly not functioning that made the fan running continuously.

I am a best western platinum member and when checking in, I was greeted very kindly and offered my free gift I didn't know I was rewarded. The king room I stayed in was spacious and clean. My only concern was how high the bathtub/shower was. I had to swing my legs around like a hurdle to get in and questioned how someone shorter than myself would get in but the tub looked like a jacuzzi with blocked off jets so maybe that is why the tub was so tall.

Hotel is at very convenient location near I-275 in Livonia Michigan. Quality of hotel room, breakfast, and internet is great. Service staff is nice and attentive. I found, even as BW rewards member however, that the cost was a little high per night.

Staying in the same BW second time. A completely average hotel in a boring but safe suburb of Detroit. It could use a reno, but they maintain it well. The place is clean. It feels as a safe neighborhood any time of day or night. Pretty quiet at night. Hot breakfast is average but serves the purpose (which pretty much describes the place itself). Coffee is of bad American variety (Folgers or smth of this nature). Wifi is not outstanding but fast enough to watch Netflix in good quality.

Clean room; sink inside bathroom, but plenty of mirrors in the room. Comfy bed/pillows; lots of channels on tv. Wifi good. Breakfast exceptional - Laurie kept everything well stocked. Hot breakfast - sausage, eggs, waffles (with strawberry compote or blueberries, whipped cream)Friendly front desk; Red Robin restaurant next door. 10 - 25 min from the Henry Ford. Groceries, other stores nearby. Quick access to interstate.

Came into the hotel after midnight and was greeted very professionally by staff on duty. The room was very nicely appointed but the AC was hit or miss...not sure if was working correctly Breakfast buffet was probably one of the best I've had in the chain....lots of choices and all good. Area of concern is in the details....walked up the back stairs to the second floor and went to hold the handrail...it was so loose it almost came away from the wall I rate this as a very good choice for a place to stay, just advise the owners to make sure to check everything

We used 2 rooms for 4 nights for my family (7 kids!) 2 per double bed and a pack-n-play for baby. The rooms were clean and nicely appointed. The beds (and particularly the pillows, according to my kids) were very comfortable. The pool was great. There was a breakfast that looked nice, but we didn't partake. Small issues: AC is a bit noisy and in-room Wi-Fi is kind of slow. OVERALL: GREAT STAY!

Stayed here for five nights in July. I have only good words to write about it. The location is perfect. The rooms are quiet even though there is a major road nearby. The rooms are large and comfortable with whatever amenities you require. There is free wifi that worked fine. The room was clean and was serviced regularly. Breakfasts were ample and fresh daily. Hey guys, what else do you need?? Loved it and will definitely be back (In November....Booked already!!)!!

The worst experience ever. Room not cleaned the entire weekend. Hair all in the bathroom upon my arrival.I asked for clean towels and face cloth at 10:30am didn't receive them until 11:30 pm on Thursday. Didn't receive clean towels Friday until 10pm. House keeping told me they couldn't get to my room that's why it wasn't cleaned. I went to the front desk to complain and they said they were busy. I'll never stay the there the staff was really nasty as well.

I had a minor problem with the shower in my room. Front desk staff took ownership of the problem and it was fixed promptly. All staff from maintenance to housekeeping to front desk personnel were so very friendly and courteous! Room was spacious and comfortable. Enjoyed my stay.

Very good location. Room # 120 was clean, but unfortunately it seems that most of the previous occupants smoked in the room. We are not smokers, therefore we were in the need to leave the AC constantly running at low, but it didn't help too much. Breakfast is good and there is always coffee available.

We stayed for two nights. First night didn't get much sleep due to a noisy AC unit. Staff was very accommodating and we switched rooms. The pool was a big plus and well kept with great lounge chairs and poolside towels. Breakfast was nice, too. Overall nice experience.

New management. Newly updated decor, clean, quiet, service oriented. Friendly, personable staff. Perfect for visiting Ann Arbor, Downtown Detroit or Freedom Hill Amphitheater - all are around 40 mins. away and the hotel is conveniently located by I-696. There's also a shopping center with restaraunts directly across the street.

"WORST HOTEL With the WORST GM "

I stayed at this hotel because it is next to the testing center Prometric. I had a 2 day licensing exam and wanted to be close and in a relaxed, peaceful environment. I requested to be in a quiet, jacuzzi tub room and got the exact opposite. I was originally placed in a room with a broken jacuzzi tub next to the pool door with loud, screaming kids. When I mentioned the Jacuzzi didn't work, the front desk man ( Brandon) accused me of lying and said they had no other rooms available. When I had to show him that it wasn't working, he still refused to give me a different room or offer me any other room. After begging and pleading they finally put me in an even louder room with a working jacuzzi tub, but broken AC and refrigerator. When I went to speak to the general manager(Dave) of the hotel to resolve this issue, instead of apologizing he not only insulted me, but also threatened to raise my hotel rate. He then proceeded to verbally abuse me in front of customers and then followed me around the hotel. I still have yet to receive an apology, or anything for the inconvenience this hotel caused me. If you want a hotel with terrible customer service and lack of management - this is the place to go. If not, there is a Marriott across the street with similar prices and great customer service.

"Worst hotel"

The AC did not work in our room. Housekeeping did not clean our room one of our days. They tried to bill us for two extra days that had been cancelled well ahead of time. For the 3 days we were there they tried to bill us at rates above what was quoted when we made reservations. The hallway carpets were filthy and needed to be vacuumed. Most of the staff were polite but did not have the authority to address any problems.

Housekeeping was unable to enter your room due to your Do Not Disturb sign that was left up the entire time you were in house. When you book your reservation via a 3rd party, you will be held for all nights of the stay. We were able to contact the travel agent you booked with and reverse the two nights that were supposed to be non refundable for you. Surprised with the large room and quiet property since it was close to a freeway. The rear entrance door never locked and the carpets were worn but everything else was good. Heated pool area was well maintained. Front desk was very pleasant.

Hotel is older and need of renovation, but in a nice area with many restaurants and other shopping close to hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful. Room needed to have simple items fixed like a bath tub drain plug. We had to use a wash cloth for the water to not drain. The front knob on the shower/tub water control was there, so you would use the rail that it was supposed to be on for the water temperature control. Had a roll away bed that was so uncomfortable that mattress was put on floor to sleep.

I look forward to my visit at this particular hotel. The service is reliable and very friendly. The hotel is clean and quiet. The rooms are a very good size as well. The pool area is spotless. The breakfast offers a good selection of options, with some fresh fruit. As a solo female traveller, I feel very safe and secure here. The hotel is only 30 minutes to Detroit Metro Airport with easy access to the 275 freeway. Also, within walking distance are shops and restaurants.

I stayed here on a recent business trip. The hotel is located right off the highway and has several places to eat within walking distance. The hotel staff at check in were great and were happy to upgrade my room as a platinum rewards member. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. Well lite parking lot as well.

We were in town for a graduation party and this hotel worked out great for us. The room was well appointed, clean, and comfortable. Check-in and out was easy. The only hotel amenity we used was the breakfast and they offered a clean area for eating and quite a few breakfast choices. We just had a couple of the basics (bagel, eggs, and coffee) and it was all decent. For what I consider a budget hotel, this exceeded our expectations and we will stay here again when in the area visiting family.

If you're a HOG member you know by now that the Best Western offers some great deals in incentives for us to ride to and stay at their hotels. As you know they are independently owned and operated and for the most part are great. This one though impressed us with their service and online guarantee. The price wasn't the same as quoted so they worked it out for us and conveniently gave us a late checkout to get our bikes ready. They also have a full not breakfast for the weary traveler its perfect. Rest, eat, wash your bike, and get back on the road.

My stay was pleasant except for the thin walls. Around midnight, I was able to hear the person next door conversation so I had to turn up the A/C and sleep with ear plugs. However, the room and hotel was clean.

Very clean and quite well kept from what I saw. I've stayed here many times over the years and it seems to have gotten better with age. The rooms were clean and well kept. I only had juice, but wife enjoyed the breakfast. I would suggest this property to anyone. I will stay here again.

"After refurbishing, this place is a good deal"

Central in the automotive area, you can go anywhere in no time. After this place been refurbished, it is clean and depite the close highway quiet. The bathtub have the size of a swimming pool. Breakfast is very basic but okay to get your day started.....for 80$ a night you got a better deal than on the opposite side......for 200$ plus breakfast.

Staircases needed vacuuming. Soil from potted plant was on the floor. Windows needed cleaning. Room temperature was good and easily adjustable. Minor repairs need done. When entering halls to go to room lots of piles of used bedding lines the walls.

Clean, if not immaculate. We stayed for several days. Staff was prompt and courteous providing extra towels, etc. The only down-side was the room air conditioning unit, which not only sounded like a jet airliner, but failed to keep the room cool during the day. The free breakfast was decent, with eggs (not from scratch), sausages, make-your-own waffles, pastries, etc. It kept us happy. Would stay again.

Housekeeping just walks in your room without knocking. This has happened twice at this hotel. Also staff was cursing at customers while I was checking out. Also overcharged my card after using one of their promotions.

Have stayed here many times , it's a nice hotel nice rooms , but this stay really has changed my mind , they were sealing parking lot and had no do not enter signs to show you should not drive on it , so the asphalt got all over our tires we spend hours trying to drive it off , hours which means money and wasted time . The hotel did nothing to show they were at all sorry for mishap , so we will not be staying here again , very sad .

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. On the day of check in, you said you seen the crew performing a parking lot crack fill. You admitted that despite them filling that you proceeded to drive over the wet tar. After speaking with the company, had you waited a couple more minutes for the tar to adhere to the lot you would not have had any issues. You also stated that the car that immediately took your spot upon backing out was not affected, further proving the point that had you had waited there would not have been any issues. We are very sorry that you had to deal with the tar on your tires. We hope that it wears off your tires before you head home, as it should. This matter was completely out of our control. Had we put bright orange cones up for the 3 minutes it takes to dry, would that have stopped you from driving through it anyways? We strive to make everyone happy here at the Best Western! Midway into this visit, and I'm already incredibly impressed. Brandon, the night clerk, has so far been extremely helpful, and already made my stay so much better. My husband & I really like this hotel for the price for our short adult get-away. The price is unbelievably inexpensive. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. And our bathroom always has a soaker tub which I absolutely love. The free breakfast is absolutely terrible,though probably typical for "free". Just make sure you budget for food. My husband forgot a few toiletries on our last trip and the front desk had them available for free which was very pleasantly surprising. The staff had always been very nice and helpful. The pool is outside so it isn't functional in the winter. It would have been a great place to take the kids for a little home away from home weekend if it had a pool in the winter. :-( Oh, and a bar or restaurant would have been good too. There is a restaurant right next door though (Red Robin, i think). Overall, we are very thrifty and found that the price is great for a little peace and quiet & cleaner than we anticipated. Remember to plan on eating breakfast elsewhere. We plan on going back almost every other month as long as we work it in the budget (remember, we're cheap!).

Nicely renovated room. Comfy bed! But room wears so stuffy! Air conditioning worked but blasted so strong you couldn't keep on overnight. Breakfast lounge is very inviting with plenty of items to select.

This may be an okay place for a short stay. The bathroom had a lot of mold and the shower had a deep lean into to the drain. The door to the bathroom grazed the toilet. Best western beds are the best but the bathoom at this location was horrible. The room was renovated and appeared clean. We were booked in front of a couple if convention halls which was a very bad design to have rooms located there due to the constant noise and chatter. The breakfast was okay, coffee was great. I wouldn't stay here again.

I come to Michigan yearly for business and family. I'm not sure what happened when the hotel came under new ownership/management, but it's definitely gone down hill. The new manager needs to take a course in hospitality and how to speak to customers. He's inappropriate toward females and the whole reason I will not be returning, nor will I be suggesting this establishment to any of my colleagues, especially my female colleagues. If the hotel was smart, they'd let him go and hire someone with class that treats the employees and customers decent. If I could give 0 stars, I would; my last stay didn't even deserve 1 star.

Not the best "Best Western" I've stayed at. Don't stay here if you want a really clean room. I stayed here 3 nights and didn't get my sheets changed at all. I had to chase down the housekeeper for my floor (Ana W.) to get her to agree to clean my room and then she didn't come and clean it when she said she would. I only got the room cleaned when I tracked her down and stood over her. Even then, she did a half-hearted job of cleaning the bathroom, didn't change the sheets, didn't dust and left dirt on the floor. The furnishings in the room are nice but the rooms are small and breakfast was just so-so. Wouldn't stay here again unless I was forced to. Forgot to add that the lock on the door wouldn't engage and lock unless you slammed the door very hard -- big security issue!

Stayed at the hotel in January and again the night of March 6,2017. Check in was fast and easy. My partner has a broken leg and is in a cast and again the staff brought a wheelchair....this time right out to the car. Our room was clean and the bed very comfortable and it's nice to have an air conditioner/heater that works perfectly A pleasant stay and we will return to this hotel when we are in the area again

"Clean and Comfortable"

I travel a lot as a standup comic. I needed a place to stay overnight on Thanksgiving after driving eight hours from Pennsylvania to Michigan. This property was conveniently located off of the highway and near shopping and restaurants. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. I liked having a flat screen TV, minfridge, and microwave. The shower was also a whirlpool tub. Checkout was at noon which I appreciated. There's a hot breakfast in the morning held in the large and comfortable common area in the lobby. This space is available all day for work, meetings, or just relaxing. It wasn't a long stay for me, just an overnight, but I got a good night's sleep and ready for the journey ahead. Thanks!

It was easy to get to, and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. You can simply walk next door to a Red Robin. I got a room that had a Jacuzzi bath. While, I appreciated it, it was a bit much. Great size room. Unfortunately, one of the rooms had a fire alarm that had a battery going low. I could hear that "beep" sound it makes to warn you of the battery going low. I was surprised that my neighbor didn't hear it. It actually sounded it was from next door. I didn't get a chance to check out the breakfast in the morning as I had a n early flight to get to the next morning. The staff was friendly.

Booked with trip advisor to stay at the best western hotel and the process was cake. The staff was friendly and pleasant. The rooms were some of the cleanest rooms I've ever stayed in! The beds and blankets were like sleeping on a cloud. Also, great water pressure in the showers!! The continental breakfast was spot on with everything you could imagine. I would highly recommend the best western near novi michigan to anyone. I will be back the next time we have a work event for sure! Thank you the Best Western team for the great experience!

The stay was very pleasant. Room was spotless. Workout room was clean could use a new treadmill but overall great. Breakfast was very nice and always full the girl works very hard and very friendly she had blonde hair. The check in woman was very friendly. She was helping a customer with a problem on the phone and was very professional. The outside looked beautiful we went in november but looked nice. The hotel is close to malls and the showcase center really convenient off the highway!

NOT HAPPY WITH THIS HOTEL. UNSURE WHY IT IS RATED #1 in Livonia on TripAdvisor. We were in town for a wedding and had 9 people in our party so we reserved 2 rooms with double beds. When we went to check in they rudely said we were a no show the day before and gave one room away!! So they only had one room for 9 people. We were not coming the day before, just for the night of the wedding! This was after we confirmed the day before. Why would half of our party come on one day and the rest of us the next day? We tried to explain this but got nowhere. We received no apologies for the mistake on their part when making the reservation. Needless to say we had to stay somewhere else last minute because there were no rooms left at double the cost. My sister was charged for the room and when she called they reluctantly took the price off but still with no apology!! Also some in our group that did get a room said it smelled of smoke. Do not stay here!

For the price i paid of $70, the room was definitely impressive. The room was spotless, beautiful, and felt like home. I would recommend this hotel to friends/family and plan to stay here again! The bathroom was fully equipped with all essentials, and the room had a microwave, mini fridge and flat screen included. Complimentary breakfast is offered. Although the hotel is smaller than most hotels, it was cozy and the main lobby is super classy and inviting. I am a nit picky type of person, but i really enjoyed my stay here :-)

Needed a place for 1 night. Chose this based on price (about $100), location and rating on tripadvisor. Staff was friendly and efficient, but the property was disappointing. Late arrival, parking spaces near door were taken and rest of lot not particularly well lit--a drawback for anyone, especially female, traveling alone. Decor in hallways made them seem dark. Beds were too soft (but that may be a personal preference). Wall unit A/C kicked on and off all night and was pretty noisy--not good unless you sleep very soundly. Channel listing for TV and actual channels didn't seem to match up. There was a frig and microwave. Property has just 2 floors. Vending machines on upper floor--one was out of order, other was nearly empty. Vending machine on lower floor--had to guess at prices. Hair (not mine) under sink counter. Tub faucets looked dirty but probably just old. Sink stopper came off in my hands when I tried to use it. If I need lodging in the area again, will look elsewhere.

Just like every other hotel in a 30 mile radius. No special reason to stay here. Nice enough, clean enough. etc. just nothing that makes it any different. Free breakfast is the same old boring fare served in a 100 other hotels (even served the same way). Don't get a room on the freeway side (too noisy)! Desk staff was very friendly and helpful.

Hotel is definitely in need of some updates -- part of the counter in the bathroom was falling apart, tub was stained (or else just not cleaned well), had to have staff remove a light bulb from a ceiling light because it would not stop flickering with the light off and it scared my daughter. I called the front desk first thing in the morning and either they did nothing or they couldn't fix the problem because it started flickering again the next night, finally got them to just take the light bulb out (I'd have done it myself if I could've reached it!). Breakfast was good, more choices than average. Pool is outdoor and seasonal, wish I'd have known it was closed already (it's September). Beds weren't bad, and towels were soft. I didn't hear much noise from the hallway once we got put in a quieter part of the hotel, but it's hard to say how many of the rooms were occupied. Staff seemed to be trying to be helpful but not terribly competent. Bathrooms were tiny, only a few inches between the toilet and the door when opening it. We were originally put in a room right next to an event space as an evening event was beginning, with the speakers right next to the wall that the beds were on. NO WAY my daughter would have slept with that, and I can't imagine who would think that would be a good way to lay out a hotel -- put vending machines or bathrooms or something next to that wall at least, not guest rooms! This was my first hotel stay in this area, but if I go back to the area, I'll try somewhere else.

Don't be fooled by the falling-down sign out front. We were on a Michigan trip visiting family, and when I decided on a hotel in Livonia, I was admittedly hesitant about choosing this hotel. I was familiar with the area having lived and worked in the area for 20 years, so I knew the hotel. There are definitely newer and more upscale hotels in the area, but this was highly rated and the cheapest. My wife was hesitant, but agreed. We were pleasantly surprised and delighted. The rooms were clean and updated and there was a daily free hot breakfast. My youngest loved the B&W heart logo in the hot waffles. The pool was small and basic, but nice. It's outdoors, so weather permitting. It was quiet and overall a great stay. Definitely the best value in Livonia. Yes, the tilted sign out front if off-putting, but perhaps that will keep this hotel a secret.

This hotel is situated in an upscale area with plenty of amenities. I missed out on pool season so I went to the fitness center to get my "buffed up" on! The fitness room is small, however I was the only person in there. It could potentially get crowded real fast. However they've got an off site fitness center as well. I didn't have time to explore that and it wasn't necessary for me. Upon arriving Blair was so nice and helpful in finding me a restaurant nearby that had steak and beverages. This is by far one of THE cleanest hotels. Immaculate. The rooms and breakfast area are well attended. All of the staff very pleasant and courteous.

Great clean pool. Convenient location. The room size was generous. The jacuzzi tub was not usable in my opinion. Needed reglazing so it just looked dirty. The vending machines were pretty empty. Overall a very nice place for the cost.

We have stayed in Many B.W. as we travel. The room was clean and well stocked. The lobby and breakfast area was large enough for all. The food was enough and well prepared. The staff was very helpful and professional in manner. While we did not use the pool witch was outdoor but it look clean and well maintained. A very pleasant stay. There were two things we did run into. There was a leak in the ceiling over the Jacuzzi in our room. also they are over 20 year old and not all are working, they need to replace. One of the doors leading out side would not lock and could be used by anyone with out a key. Over all very nice and recommend a stay.

Very comfortable bed! Clean room...good to excellent breakfast variety. Left a valet bag in my room, and was handled a bit too casually about it's possible return; but night staff person could not enter lost and found room to check on its whereabouts.

I stayed here for a night last weekend and was pleased all around. Located right off of the highway, it was easy to find, and a quick trip from downtown Detroit. The staff were all quite pleasant. I was checking in late and someone was waiting at the desk to get me checked in quick. She was also happy to recommend some late night food options within walking distance. The hotel is located across the street from a large shopping center and right next door to a few restaurants. Finding a late dinner and a cocktail couldn't have been easier. I was also right where I needed to be to run some errands the next morning. Very convenient. My room was very large with a king sized bed and a VERY deep bath tub. I'm a tall guy and appreciated being able to fit for a hot soak after a long day. The Best Western Hospitality Hotel is also very clean. Notably so. In addition it seemed pretty quiet even with what seemed to be a good amount of guests on a Sunday. This was helpful for getting some work done in my room (free wi-fi!) as well as when I decided to finally turn in. There's a hot breakfast in the morning held in the large and comfortable common area in the lobby. This space is available all day for work, meetings, or just relaxing. Top notch! Between the pleasant staff, convenient location, and clean quiet property, the Best Western Hospitality Hotel in Livonia certainly lives up to it's name!

My husband and I did not have a good experience at this hotel. I do not recommend staying there. It needs a major transformation. From towels, bedding, running toilet, un level bedroom, thin walls, just to name a few.

I wondered what type of establishment I was staying at when I arrived. The only sign in front of the hotel was falling over and it appears it has been that way for some time. We had flooding in the lounge/breakfast area that required us to move to a plain room(conference room) to eat. The staff had to continually put on booties to go back and forth to the breakfast area to reload items for breakfast. This(flooding) happens all the time it rains according to the staff. I guess it explains why the sign is not fixed. Other then that, it was what we expected.

This Best Western seems to be fairly newly renovated! The beds were comfy, clean and smelled fresh. The room and bathroom was all clean and nice. Fridge and microwave in room, single cup Coffee maker too, Iron, and hairdryer. Decent TV and channels. Outdoor pool looked nice, didn't try it though. Breakfast was decent with sausage and scrambled eggs for hot stuff. Waffles had toppings like chocolate chips, nuts, brown sugar, strawberries and raisins which was cool! Basic breakfast items like yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, pastries, fruit cups. The staff was very nice as well. There is a red Robin next door, the mall across the street is very small and has a Bar Louie, a Subway, and a Coney Island which had good cheap food! Other than that the mall didn't have much other than a bath and body works, Victoria Secret and stores I've never heard of.

I stayed here just one night with a late arrival. The night auditor was very helpful and accommodating. The room was very clean and smelled nice. I wish the air conditioner was temperature controlled, but I loved the adjustable shower head. The room was spacious and the staff was inviting at breakfast in the morning. In the morning Kim was helpful in giving me the WiFi code that I left in my room for access on the business computers and using a pair of scissors. I would stay here again if I find myself in the area.

I came in to check in to have an evening with my son for his birthday. AFTER my debit card was swiped and while I was signing the paperwork (and listening to the girl who was helping me tell another employee about how she was going to call off today and not come in to work,right in front of customers)I over heard another employee on the phone with a guest saying that the hot water should be fixed soon. Since I was not told anything about the hot water not working, I inquired about what she was talking about. The girl that was ringing me up blew off the issue saying how some rooms had warm water rather than hot but that it was being worked on and wouldn't be an issue. I brought my son to the pool with my sister and mom. We enjoyed the overly crowded pool as it's been a very hot day. I met a cute couple who I heard talking about their room and lack of hot water again. The lady said how she comes to this hotel weekly and that this a constant issue but that she comes because she has points with Best Western. Once we were done with the pool we went to shower in the room. Not only was there no hot water, but it was FREEZING. l called down to the desk where I was told that it was currently being worked on. We also noticed that the toilet did not flush right. It took3-4 flushes to get it to work. After letting it run and still no change in the fridged temperature, I went to the service desk with my sister. My sister began explaining the water situation and was cut off and handed a managers card and was told to call Monday. She started talking again and was rudely cut off by Chelsea and told that they wouldn't be talking to her as she didn't get the room, I did. I told them I wanted a refund as I can't shower my son in freezing temperatures. Very rudely I was told how I enjoyed the pool and had been there for more than15 min, so sorry about my luck. We went up to the room to make phone calls. Nothing could be fine as it was Saturday night. The front desk workers wouldn't call their manager and refused to help. I checked out with my mom. My mom started talking and calmly explaining how it's not fair that they didn't tell me there was not any hot water. Blair, the other employee, lied stating that she informed me before I checked in, which was not the case at all. My mom started talking again and Blair put her hand in my mother's face, turned to me and started talking to me. I asked her not to put her hand in my mom's face and Chelsea said goodbye while stepping in front of Blair as Blair was becoming loud and hostile. I took the receipt and left. Shortly after leaving I noticed that the receipt was not accurate. They wrote that we were there from July 23-24 when in fact we left only hours after checking in. I called the desk and Blair said I would have to come back if I wanted an accurate receipt so I did. When I arrived Chelsea was on her phone smoking in the walk way where customers come in and Blair put her hand out with an envelope with the receipt in it. I checked it before leaving. They wouldn't put a time on it of when I left. When looking at other reviews, I found several from weeks and months back stating that guest's had issues of bad customer service and no hot water. Blair and Chelsea may have had their hands tied and couldn't fix this maintenance problem but I should have been told this before checking in, not over hearing it after signing my paper work. My mother getting a hand in her face and me getting yelled at while attempting to celebrate my son's birthday was unreal. I would not ever recommend this establishment and will be taking this issue up with the company. Highly unsatisfactory behavior from these two employees.

We stayed there one night getting ready to go to a funeral. We had a nice room very comfortable and would recommend staying here again. The only thing wrong with who was the bathroom the toilet seat was loose. Very convenient to restaurants and the highway

My wife and I chose to stay at this hotel over the July long weekend because of its attractive pricing, outdoor pool and good reviews. However the lack of hot water, closed outdoor pool over a long weekend completely overshadowed the good price. We could tell the hotel was an older property but our room was renovated, clean with a comfortable king bed. We even got a free upgrade to a room with a Jacuzzi, which we could not use because there was no hot water for 2 of our 4 days. The free breakfast buffet contained typical budget quality food selections, including what seemed like scrambled egg mix from a carton. When we went to use the outdoor swimming pool on July 2nd we noticed what appeared to be green algae growing around the pool lights and corners, some scum on the pool surface and debris on the bottom of the pool. It seemed that pool maintenance had been neglected for some time. We discussed our concern over the pool's water quality and potential contaminants with the front desk staff and were told that the person responsible for maintaining the pool had not showed up but someone would be coming to deal with the pool maintenance. For the remainder of our stay the pool gate had a “closed sign” and the front desk staff had no further information to provide. The front desk staff were quite friendly. However, when problems arose they were unable or unauthorized to resolve issues, and the hotel manager was unavailable. The front desk staff offered us a 20% discount off our room rate to compensate us for there not being hot water but the discount or credit was never given. We asked to speak with the manager but he was not available and never returned our 2 phone messages. We feel that an apology from management for these shortcomings would have been appropriate, particularly given the sign on the front desk – “If something is not meeting your expectation please let us know. We want to make it right. People who Care”. Management instead chose to ignore our complaints.

8 reviews 5.0 star rating 6/30/2016 Fantastic stay in Livonia! I was in town just for the day and needed a quiet place to stay. The Best Western Hospitality was perfect! The check0in process was quick and very friendly. My room was very clean and updated, with a very comfortable bed, and amazing shower and very fast wifi. The property offers a hot breakfast, but I didn't take advantage of it. There were also a lot of great dining options very close (even walking distance) from the hotel. I'm in metro Detroit a lot, and in the future, I will definitely stay here again!

The hotel was clean, well-staffed, and well-equipped. I was always greeted by workers in the lobby and had nice conversations with a few of the desk workers during my stay. The breakfast area was cozy, but a little crowded during my stay--the hotel was pretty full. Staff did an admirable job keeping breakfast stocked, and the occasional times when they ran out of eggs or what not didn't last long. It was a little difficult to navigate the breakfast area when lots of people were trying to get food, but it wasn't a big deal to me. I wish they'd left the chocolate chips and other waffle toppings out every day, but they were probably going through stuff too fast with the huge crowds. I enjoyed the exercise room and found the equipment perfectly suitable. I did not use the pool but it looked decent. My room was very comfortable and included a surprisingly large refrigerator and a microwave. There were plenty of accessible electrical outlets. The bed was clean and comfortable. I didn't fiddle with the AC settings much, but it seemed to have an always-on fan that occasionally included cooling. Worked fine, but the on/off cooling cycling made the room a bit stuffy at times. Again, it was very comfortable--I'm just being picky. The bathroom was rather crowded when trying to maneuver in, out, and around. I was surprised by how frequently they replaced towels and soap and such in my four-night stay. Not necessary! On my way in/out every day I heard a beeping noise in the first floor hallway. I think it was a low battery indicator on an exit sign or something. Would have driven me batty if my room had been next to it--very loud. The hotel's wifi had adequate coverage and speed, but I did have to sign in again daily with each device I was using. I brought my Roku stick and had no difficulty using it with the TV after initial set up. All in all, it was a great hotel at a price much lower than nearby competitors. It's within easy walking distance of Red Robin and a few other places in a strip mall a bit further east. I'd gladly stay there again.

"Really like this hotel, and the price"

We don't normally stay at Best Westerns, but gave this hotel in Livonia a try due to proximity to I-275 and a low price. The surrounding area is very nice with restaurants and a mall across the street. The hotel itself was unusual in that it had an old-fashioned 1960's architectural style which I found appealing, yet carpeting and furnishings throughout the hotel appeared to be new. The room was nice and comfortable, the free hot breakfast was good, and the staff friendly. Thought it was interesting the TV remote was designed with flush buttons for effective cleaning - never thought about getting germs that way.

"Livonia visit"

Average hotel. OK for a quick overnight stay, but not a high star rated hotel. Clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was OK, but Eggs were boxed eggs you add water to I think and weren't any good. Checked in late and left early so only slept, showered & grabbed a quick bite from breakfast buffet.

"Excellent Remodeled Hotel and Great Staff!"

The hotel is fully renovated and you can really Tell that there has been a lot of changes in the hotel. The staff was nothing but respectful and helpful with everything we needed even when we were a little grumpy at check in! The pool is beyond amazing and we really enjoyed this hotel and will stay here again! Thank you Nader and staff you guys were great!

"Among The Top Two Star Hotels"

This is the little hotel that did. It is clean and quiet. Every room comes with a microwave and refridge. The TV channels include my favorites like Bravo, E! and BET. When I went to my room I noticed that the room next to me had children who do what children do -- make noise. It was no problem getting another room. The next room was next to an exit and the vending area and I kicked myself for not having walked around and asked for a room in the area where I thought it would be quiet. But the room turned out to be quiet in spite of its location. The HVAC is loud. The bathroom is tiny. The room is on the small side. The view from my room was a parking lot but the other option would be overlooking the pool and I do not like noise. In my opinion it is to be expected that there will be noise where ever there is a pool. The free breakfast is adequate. The coffee maker had mold growing in it. So if you rely on caffeine to start your day, head to Starbucks the night before and warm it up the next morning in the microwave., The internet was free and adequately fast. Many of my favorite retail spots such as Barnes and Nobles and Costco are nearby. There is a mall across the street with two department stores.

Had a great experience once again-we have stayed here a lot and always have friendly service. Good selection for breakfast. Always clean. Everyone is always helpful. Beds are comfortable. Never had a problem with noise.

We stayed here for two nights while touring the area. The hotel itself is nice. Bed was comfortable and room was nice. I was a little concerned at first as we were in the room directly across from elevator, but we didn't hear a thing. Breakfast was the standard breakfast and the staff were always very friendly. Our complaint is with the other guests of the hotel...bowling teams and parents with soccer tournament kids. These were the rudest people we've encountered. Bowling team took over the breakfast area, the kids ran rampant over the hotel and grounds and the parents took over the sitting area in the lobby anytime they were at the hotel. We were playing cards there and were overtaken by the parents of these kids bringing in food, wine & beer. We had to move outside to the far end of the hotel to the picnic table where we still had kids running around us. And the parents would empty all the ice machines into their coolers leaving no ice for anyone else. Absolutely not the hotels fault. I actually felt sorry for their workers who would clean up the sitting area only to have all these people come in 30 minutes later and mess it all up again. Pitiful. So, beware, maybe ask if the soccer/bowling tournament teams are in town if you decide to stay here.

"Nice place to stay....small billing glitch!"

The hotel has a convenient location and rooms are comfortable. The breakfast is hot and fast for a quick start each day. I booked through TripAdvisor and the hotel seemed confused at checkout. I had an unidentified charge to my credit card two days after my stay and had to call the hotel to have it reversed, which they did. Would stay there again. Thanks.

"A true hospitality gem"

This hotel is the definition of hospitality. After a one-week recent stay, it felt like family. It was wonderful to arrive at the hotel and find the lobby clean with a cozy fireplace, and welcoming with a smiling staff eager to please. Right away, I was asked to let them know if I needed anything. Upon my late arrival, Jack from the front desk met me at the car and quickly assisted with my things on the hotel luggage cart and escorted it all to my room with ease. The room had satellite TV, the bath clean and refreshing with a spa like shower, and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. "Sleep well" are comforting words to hear from staff after a long day of travel. The room had requested amenities such as coffeemaker, frig, microwave and other nice features. The hotel's professional staff are more than happy to provide what you need. From the moment of my arrival at check-in to my departure at check-out, I was greeted daily with smiles from the staff with a "Welcome Back" as I was in and out. Chelsea was very helpful in providing directions for an area business. Busy or not, guest consideration is clearly important to this hotel. Every guest is treated with personal attention. Throughout my stay, there was no hesitation in providing whatever service I needed on that particular day. Oralia from housekeeping was happy to demonstrate how the coffeemaker worked. She enjoys helping and making guests happy. There were times as I was accomplishing my work, I had the "quiet sign" hanging on the door. The hotel staff were very respectful of this notice, and Kimberly made sure that replenished supplies were placed just outside the door as to not to disturb my work. Coffee is available all day (as well as in guestrooms), and a full hot breakfast is offered every morning with a variety of choices managed with exemplary service from Laurie, and bonus, you will be greeted by the hotel's general manager, Nader Judeh with a warm, friendly "Good morning, How are you enjoying your stay? Nader has raised the bar on guest satisfaction and, it is demonstrated throughout his hotel. Guests can enjoy breakfast overlooking a lovely courtyard or watching the morning news in a sunny atrium setting. Newspapers are free to guests. A fitness center is also available. The hotel is conveniently surrounded by a beautiful mall located just across the street with nearby popular restaurants with great food. I traveled to Livonia, MI from a well-known popular resort area, and I have been familiar with hospitality for many years. Whatever, your reasons for visiting Livonia, MI, do not hesitate to make this hotel your home away from home. You will enjoy stellar service and a delightful experience all at a very reasonable price.

Of all hotels I've visited on my roadtrip which included a marriott and a holiday inn, this by far had the nicest staff. they truly made me feel at home. the room was nice and spacious too and breakfast runs til 10 and 11 instead of 9 and 10. I'd definitely stay here again

"Not bad, but not great."

Every person that worked there that we met was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were fairly quiet, updated and comfortable. Bathroom is on the small size, especially the counter space. Had a refrigerator, a lot of storage, a safe and a desk. All the ice machines were either not working or leaking water all over the place. I did not eat breakfast, but family staying there said it was good. The outside patio area was is need of some work as well the front area. It seems like they have updated rooms and hallways, but not much else.

"Great room/location"

This hotel is wonderful! The room was clean and cozy and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. Located at I-275 and Six Mile Road, this hotel is conveniently located next to shopping and several restaurants within walking distance. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the hotel interior/exterior was well maintained. Full breakfast and coffee all day!

Really loved this hotel. Jen at the front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful, as was all the staff. The room was clean, very nicely decorated, and comfortable, with a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The fitness room is great, and the breakfast had lots of options. The common area is bright and welcoming, and the courtyard/pool area is cute and relaxing. We will definitely stay again when we come back through. I don't understand the low ratings bc really, I don't have a single complaint about this hotel.

"3rd time-convinced"

Having stayed at this property before, when work brought me back to the region, I knew I'd be back to this Best Western. Like many travelers, price is a driving factor, but I've found it hard to find a hotel to compete with this one in the price range. The property has always been clean (other major factor) and the rooms spacious. This time, the hotel was very full (not sure what events were going on in the area) but the quality of service remained the same. The staff was vigilant in continually restocking and keeping a very busy breakfast area clean. The general manager was greeting guests, making sure everyone was taken care of and even helping the staff clean up. As I mentioned, this was my third stay at this Best Western. I recognized a lot of the same staff members, which is often not the case in the hotel industry. That consistency says a lot about the management and the operation. If I make a fourth trip near Livonia, I'll definitely book this Best Western again.

"Not relaxing at all"

Loud AC and light shining in our room all night long due to non closing curtains. Definitely not a good place to stay after driving 9 hours. They also only serve three dishes for hot breakfast & do not offer turkey sausage when it is an area highly populated with those who cannot eat pork.

"Quiet circumstance / Smell of cigarettes"

Stayed here for three nights for business in the last week of March 2016. It has several good pubs and restaurants around, although have to across a big road (3 lanes each) to get some malls. The area seems quiet and I had an impression that here is a safe place. The hotel equipment in my room and around seems a little old but kept in good condition and clean. The reception said that smoking is strictly forbidden within the building but unfortunately my bathroom had very strong smell of cigarette always. Coffee was always available as self service at the lobby though, the a little frugal breakfast was served with paper dishes and plastic knife and fork.

I was performing at University of Michigan Dearborn while staying here. The staff gave great advice on traffic conditions and traveling tips. The room was equipped with microwave and fridge. Really nice bath/shower. There was a fitness center and pool (closed during cold weather). I would definitely stay here again. Lots of late night food around in case you get hungry at night. The restaurants are walking distance. I recommend this place!

I visit yearly because my family lives in Michigan. My boyfriend and I stayed (his first trip) and he loved the hotel just as much as I do! Every time I come to Michigan I stay here. "Great Place to Stay"

We had a wonderful stay when we were at your hotel last week! It was close to many of the areas we were visiting, and had easy access to the freeway. We found the staff to be exceptionally professional and accommodating, and Nader the General Manager greeted us during breakfast (as well as all the other guests) and went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The hotel has a great breakfast, as well as free wi-fi, which is a necessity for us. The rooms were clean, and the beds comfortable. We will definitely be back in the future!

"Horribly Rude Manager - Nader"

I hate NEVER been literally kicked out of a hotel room. I got in very late from a business meeting the night before. I called the front desk and asked for a late check out - the hotel was empty. As I was getting dressed the next day to check out, the manager banged on the door, demanding that I open it. I told him I'd be right out but heard his key trying to open the door. I tried to explain (as I held the door shut to prevent him from seeing my underwear clad body) that I called for a late check out and would be right out. He continued to harass me through the open crack in the door as I dressed and then I was escorted off the property. I have been in hotels around the world and have never been treated so horrifically. I have asked for late check out several times without any trouble. This manager clearly needs a new line of work if he cannot accommodate such a simple request in a rational manner. If late check isn't an option, tell me, don't bang on my door, invade my privacy and escort me off the property like I'm a criminal.

I am in the entertainment industry. At the last minute, I needed a place to stay overnight in the Detroit area. At the recommendation of a friend, I booked a room at the Best Western in a place called Livonia. I knew of the reputation that Best Western had as a place of hospitality and this one did not disappoint. The room was nice and spacious. The bed was comfortable. The TV featured quite a few channels, which helped me relax before a club performance I had that weekend. Although it is not in Detroit and a twenty-something minute drive to DTW Airport, the comfort of the room more than made up for the distance. If asked for a recommendation for the Detroit area, I would ask someone to put the Best Western in Livonia at the top of their list.

"Weekend in Livonia"

We picked this hotel because it was about half way between downtown Detroit and the Tangers Outlet Mall. We couldn't have picked a more ideal location. The hotel is easy to get to and the staff are excellent. We will definitely be staying here from now on when we are visiting this part of Michigan

This facility is top notch. Service was exemplar,staff was pleasent said hello to you in passing. the Manager Nader is wonderful. Made our accomadations seamless. The room was very clean. Very large jaccuzi tub. Beds were very comfortable. Thank you to Nader and his Staff.

"Our hotel of choice"

My husband and I absolutely love this hotel! The staff is always friendly and eager to assist us in any way. We have stayed here several times and have never had any issues. Our room is always clean, the beds are super comfortable, and the breakfast is a full breakfast including; eggs, sausage/bacon, waffles, etc. Not just your typical cereal and pastries. We would recommend anyone to stay here!

"Run don't WALK....."

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. The only reason they have any type of stars is because they offer incentives to guest to write a positive review. i am not that picky of a traveler when I go for business - safe and clean are my highest priorities. I had a co-worker with me in another room - so we basically had the same experience -from stains to tubs... First - we got scared when we saw that the sign was almost on the ground...it was leaning about 30 percent down from vertical. The hotel is a 2 floor hotel - and very scary for security purposes for 2 women staying in a hotel. Second -we walked in the rooms - the tub has been converted from a Jacuzzi - so getting into it is an athletic endeavor.. Third - we found indistinguishable stains on the mattress pads and took them off of our beds and called the front desk to let them know. Fourth - the breakfast food was horrible...I don't think anything was really cooked, but microwaved...the best thing about the entire hotel was the lemon water. Fifth - the lobby was FREEZING..... it was cold outside, but the layout of the room to eat in was off of there and we had to eat in our coats. Sixth - there are no restaurants or amenities in the hotel... Seventh - AND THE BIGGEST...Yes, we found a spider in the bed....that is when we checked out in the middle of a snow shower at 11PM at night. RUN AWAY as fast as you can...

I arrived on a snowy night this month - March 2016 - and noted that the hotel looked like a plain hotel, nothing fancy, but when I walked in, the interior was unexpectedly nice. My room was also very nice - better than most Best Westerns I have stayed at in the Midwest, South and West. Also, the access road to the hotel was slightly behind the hotel and because it was snow covered was hard to see. May a lighted directional sign would have helped. The only issue may be that someone in a wheelchair might not be able to access the breakfast area, because it was accessible by stairs from the lobby, but I didn't really check that out - so you might want to ask about that to be sure. The price was okay, but I've stayed at nice hotels for a little less. Overall, a pleasant stay.

For an older, budget hotel this facility was very nice. Rooms were very clean with new bedding and nice TVs. Don't let the 2 star rating scare you away as this hotel is nicer than many 3 star hotels I have stayed in.

My stay at the Best Western Hotel in Livonia Michigan was terrific! The service was excellent from the minute I walked in the lobby and checked in. The front desk associate was very friendly greeted me very professsionally welcomed me to Livonia and thanked me for choosing the Best Western for my stay. The hotel was very clean, my room was spacious and very nice from amenities such as a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. The General Manager, Nader Judeh introduced himself to me and was very personable. I stayed there for 10 days and every day I was down stairs at the breakfast bar Mr. Judeh would come up to me to say good morning would remember my name and ask me how my stay was and if there anything he could for me or that I needed. I travel alot and stay at many hotels and have never felt like people cared so much like I experienced at this property. From my perspective that Mr. Judeh set the example for high standards both for the appearance of the hotel to the way the guests are treated. I would highly recommend this hotel as they treat you like family and really care that your experience is there is excellent and always greet you with a smile.

Great sized room, very clean and has a very accommodating staff. Rite Aid, Walgreens, Jimmy Johns, Red Robin among others, are all great spots to stop by, none of which further than a two minute drive. Being located right off the highway makes for a quick turnaround. Good breakfast in the morning with reasonable hours.

The Jacuzzi rooms here are wonderful, especially for the price! The tub is easily one of the largest in the area. I stay in a room like this 2-3 times each winter, and I have rarely visited the same property twice because there is usually something I am less than happy with. I will be returning to this property again! The tub was very clean when I arrived and the jets worked properly. The separate bathroom was well appointed. I loved the shower and the forced air heat let me get the bathroom as warm as I wanted it. The included breakfast was more than acceptable and the staff was friendly and competent. The courtyard seating looked very inviting and I will certainly be visiting in nicer weather.

We needed a place to stay while our home was being built. We stayed nearly 6 weeks. The room and the staff were awesome, and they treated us very well. Whatever we needed, they were there in a very short amount of time. Also, there were a lot of nice restaurants and shopping to choose from in the area.

The hotel exterior and front lobby were clean and orderly. Nader Judeh, the General Manager, was very friendly and engaging. He made sure all needs were met and exceeded. At the last minute, I picked up some work in Burroughs (about 30 minutes from Livonia) and based on a previous stay, i chose to return to this Best Western. Besides rate, cleanliness and friendliness are big considerations, which is why I figured this hotel would be worth the extra drive. During check in, I happened to meet the general manager and a few other employees, who couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. I'd enrolled in Best Western's rewards program before but kind of screwed things up during enrollment. Dana, who was working the front desk, fixed it for me while I was bringing in my bags. The room was as clean & quiet as I remembered. I'd forgotten there were actually a couple weight machines in the fitness room (always great to have some options) and the cardio machines were also well maintained (not the case at many hotels). Breakfast had everything I needed and was well stocked. Facing a long drive the next night after work, they were generous in allowing me a late checkout. After two stays, I know where I'll go anytime I work in the Livonia region. If you're traveling through the area, I highly recommend this Best Western.

Had a lovely stay here. Had a mix up (our fault) in needing a handicap room, and the staff took care of every need. Plus, everyone working there said "hello" when we passed - great customer service! Rooms are clean, newer, well stocked with the usual things- mini fridge, microwave, flat screen tv, desk area, quiet fan/a.c., shower fits my 6'2" frame fine. Pillows are average, and being on the first floor (where you worry about noise - especially above you), it was pleasantly quiet. Breakfast was average continental hot - "fake" eggs, sausage, cereal, muffins, bagels, make your own waffles, etc. Just a lovely stay!

"Unplanned stay, unexpected nice surprise!"

I ended up at this hotel after the hotel I originally booked was oversold and didn't have a room for me. When the other hotel offered to pay for me to stay at the Best Western, I was not thrilled. BUT, the staff here was so friendly and welcoming and the the room was pretty nice too. The experience exceeded my expectations. I had never stayed at a Best Western before, but after this stay I think I'll add it to the regular rotation!

Growing up Best Western was the best--but during the end of the past decade the hotels had gone downhill some. Well, this Best Western in the Suburbs of Detroit has been remodeled to the place where it competes with any top chain. It has touches that remind you of a boutique hotel, but with reasonable rates. The rooms were huge and had all the top amenities. Nice pool and workout room. Right next to a bunch of restaurants. Great staff. Plenty of parking. Best of the BEST WESTERNS.

Good hotel in Best Western Quality, some rooms may need refurbishment und upgrading. The yard is pretty nice, in summer with swimming pool. Nice and friendly staff. The Breakfast offered is limited in but it includes all you need to start a day. Good location to highways and just and easy 30min drive from airport Detroit DTW.

"Great Hotel, Great Price, Great Service"

This is by far the best hotel that the wife and I have ever stayed at. The overall experience each time we have stayed here has just been beyond great. Everything seems to always be on point, the staff always warm and welcoming, and the rooms always having exactly what they are intended to have. Never have had to complain about anything yet. We have stayed at this location 5 different times and have obtained both standard and whirlpool rooms which are both great. The overall atmosphere is great and the price is pretty decent as well. I would encourage anyone to try a night here, oh and the location is great, right off the highway.

Stayed for two nights while taking my son on a few college admissions tours, staff was very helpful in giving directions, room was spacious and clean and the General Manager Nadar addressed us by name each time we entered the lobby. I stayed for a week in September, the room was nice enough, and the breakfast your typical free hotel meal. If I had been there just one or 2 nights I wouldn't have had any problems. But after a week you start to notice things. The breakfast items NEVER changed - In fact the last few mornings I looked and left. Also, housekeeping was less than thorough. Several days the sink was not wiped out, bathroom floor unswept, only a single towel was left (once no towels were left) and obvious garbage not disposed of. One night the power went off completely for several hours and no explanation provided the next morning - this may not have been an issue for some guests, but I work online and was unable to do so during this time.

Great location. Relaxing atmosphere. We arrived later in the evening and the front desk was busy but each customer was treated as if they were the only ones there. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Great breakfast many hot and cold food choices. We will recommend staying at this hotel to family and friends.

"Stay in Best Western"

There were dirty spots on the pillow and bath towel. When I went into the room the first time, there was dust on the desk. I think that room hadn't been used for a long time. It was pretty noisy outside the window in the morning, I think it might be the garbage collect truck.

I am a Hilton Diamond member and platinum Best Western member. I highly recommend this hotel, a beautiful hotel, in a very nice area convenient to shopping, restaurants, and points east and west. i would definitely stay at this hotel again.
