"Great stay at a great hotel"
GrandTour371953, 19 Septembre 2024

Making reservations over the phone since we were traveling with our two small dogs was great as we were not only guaranteed first floor rooms but were given the exact room numbers we would be staying in. The breakfast was really good and all the staff we encountered were very personable and friendly. The beds and pillows were very comfortable as was the two chairs in the room. Loved the brand of toiletries they provided.

"Old and tired, basic"
Kristy M, 09 Septembre 2024

I should start by saying that the people we dealt with here have been friendly, helpful, and capable. The hotel is beautiful from the exterior. And even the lobby continues the feeling. Then, you see the elevator, the hallways, and the room appointments. This is a tired hotel. And the upgrades have not been significant. For the price, we would call it just OK. It was tricky finding a hotel at a reasonable price in Billings, so this one was our default. It's in an industrial area, with the scent of the Exxon plant down the road permeating the air. You can walk to fast food places and restaurant nearby. Overall, it met our needs. However, the beds need to be replaced. We rolled to the middle on a king size bed, which is very unusual! Time for another facelift and replacement of the things that have been there for many, many years.

"Highly Recommended!!!!!"
luckywy0, 27 Août 2024

We rented a king suite. It was such an enjoyable experience. It was a two room suite that was open; one area held the king bed and the other area a couch, chair, desk, fridge and microwave. We were on a short trip through the Big Horn Basin and this was our last stop before going home. This was so clean and modern. We were pleasantly surprised as we had stayed in Cody the night before and supposedly had a queen suite. I guess what made it a queen suite was it had a chair! Anyway, this motel was excellent in every way and I would highly recommend it.

"Lookout for FALSE $250 'smoking' charge on your bill!!!"
BWDiamondUnhappy, 01 Juin 2024

Stayed here one night on our crosscountry travel, only to be levied with a spurious $250 charge, for total non-smokers who are exquisitely sensitive to smoke of any kind. Discussed with hotel manager who was adamant that our room was verified to have smoke odor, now awaiting Best Western Customer Support to resolve this shameful and illegitimate charge!

"Best western Yellowstone crossing"
basilbostwick, 14 Mai 2024

The hotel is cleaner than it's ever been and it's mostly all remodeled now with just a few more things to be done looks better than it ever has. I was very impressed with the job that was done almost like a brand new hotel

"Good 3-star Hotel Option"
Jim H, 12 Mai 2024

Good 3-star hotel option convenient to central Billings. Well-maintained and clean. Good king room with largish mini-fridge & microwave, comfortable bed, good towels. Very quiet overall, but some foot noise from the 3rd floor room above. Very well-lit room, unlike so many we encounter these days. Wifi worked well. Grassy lawn in the back to play with the dog. But the pool area! Nasty dank—open the windows folks! We would definitely return and recommend.

"Avoid at all cost!"
shelley g, 02 Mai 2024

This place has very poor management and it shows in every aspect . Corporate BW should be ashamed! My sister and I after 12 hrs on the road checked in to our, to find it feeling like a furnace. Went to front desk and young man said oh yea the first floor is hot and doesn't have a/c. So he offered us an OLD floor fan that was filthy and falling apart. Took it back to room and the key would not work( we had an issue getting in upon arrival but blamed ourselves ) NOW we are locked out of our room because the battery on the door lock had died! Waited 1 1/2 hrs for maintenance to come so we could get our belongings and move to another room. Packed up all our belongings to a trolly and moved. No apologies . The room was ok but the bedding was questionable. there was toothpaste smeared on the counter, the lamps bulb was not working. Throughout the hotel there were broken exit signs, cardboard covered a hole in the wall, bathroom doors near eating area did not lock. And the list goes on…..the only positive note for this hotel was the breakfast was reasonable. Sorry , I don't like to give negative reviews but this place for the price was and is a disgrace to the BW brand!

"Slippery floors in handicap room"
jjb98275, 29 Février 2024

The reception was great. Steven was friendly and able to accommodate our request for a handicap accessible room. Unfortunately the bathroom was not safe. The shower was a low clearance walk-in with a very short shower curtain. No antislip mats were available. The water would not stay in the basin, creating a very slippery floor with lots of water and no drain. I went to the front desk and asked for more towels to soak it all up and was given floor mats. They worked but I had to create a towel dam to kind of keep the water off the floor. Shower needs a major redesign before someone gets hurt.

"Unimpressed"
Mobile350139942199, 11 Février 2024

Came for doctors appointment, stayed an extra day to shop. When we made our online reservation, the pool was listed as closed so we didn't pack to swim. It was open when we arrived so we spent money for swimwear just for the pool to close. As toddlers get into everything, we started noticing how dirty the room actually was - pretty disgusting, especially when tiny hands get into dusty shelves, filthy windosils, spiderweb covered lamps, etc

"A place to spend the night in Laurel"
steve275761, 17 Janvier 2024

As always, Best Western Yellowstone Crossing provided a convenient, clean, secure place to spend the night while traveling across the country! Their prices are reasonable the staff is friendly, and the breakfast is good!

"Fell below our expectations"
DayTrip398546, 29 Décembre 2023

We always stay here when we are visiting Billings due to the small town atmosphere. But this time we were not impressed. One of the queen beds should have been replaced several months ago. And if breakfast is served until 9am, don't start shutting everything down at 8:15 am.

"Decent, clean, comfortable place to stay"
laurieg2322, 07 Décembre 2023

We have stayed here several times over the last 3 years and it is reliably clean and comfortable. The price is better than Billings and it also had one of the better breakfast than a lot of the BW we've stayed in. We have also stayed here with pets and the pet rooms were fine.

"Exceptional"
bmcsturner, 06 Décembre 2023

We were in the area for a log inspection on a residential structure. The Best Western located in Laurel was a great location easily accessible from Columbus and Billings just off the interstate. There was always hot coffee available, the lobby had a nice quite sitting area with a warming fire and warm friendly smiles from all the staff. Miss Donna in the breakfast area was very helpful and kept everything on the bar warm and fresh. The tv in the common area was not too loud to interfere with our conversation but still at a comfortable level to hear. The entire facility was extremely crisp and clean.

"So very disappointed with a place we have stayed many times."
Gerrc21, 22 Octobre 2023

We were so very disappointed with our stay this past weekend. When we arrived, the person at the front desk (which I believe was the Assistant Manager) was short with us about booking on the BW ap. One of the reasons we have stayed here several times over the last 4 years is our grandson loves to use the pool. Welllll, the pool is unavailable. She told us they had taken it off their website but who looks at the amenities when they have stayed there many times. Our next issue was the toilet in our room would stick and run continuously if you didn't actually lift the handle up. The next morning I went to take a shower and the shampoo, conditioner and body soap wouldn't work. I didn't bring any with me because it has always been available. My last complaint was the breakfast the next morning. It was so bad that we refused to eat there this am. This motel definitely did not live up to our past experiences. I have recommended this motel to many people who are traveling through MT but will not be doing that anymore. I feel for the high price we pay to sleep in this motel, we should have access to all the amenities.

"Helpful Staff, Saggy Beds"
Marita38, 01 Octobre 2023

Stayed one night traveling through Montana. Isabella at the front desk was extremely pleasant and helpful, even though she had several people at the front desk all wanting her attention. She handled everyone with respect and kindness. Our room was clean, but I did noticed the area around the microwave hadn't been dusted for awhile. We were in room 305 with a king bed and the bed needs to be replaced. It sunk in the middle, so all night long my husband and I were trying to stay out of the pit. Made for a long night. This hotel had very nice stairwells. Might not make a difference to most, but we take the stairs and these were very wide, carpeted and clean. Breakfast was just okay. The usual scrambled eggs, dry potatoes, biscuits and gravy, greasy sausage patties, waffles, dry cereal. We ate at 8 am and they were out of some things that were never replaced. I never saw anyone wipe the used tables off. Hotel is okay for a one night stay and certainly cheaper than the $200+ that the hotels closer to Yellowstone were charging.

"Go down the street to the Fairfield Inn"
saraM4136QS, 27 Septembre 2023

Wasn't told pool was under construction. Toilet overflowed possibly because of the construction. Walls were dirty. The staff were smoking outside the front door or missing. Beds were terrible and rock hard, questioned the cleanliness of the sheets. One pillowcase had mascara all over it.

"No Air-conditioning and unprofessional staff"
Road815184, 05 Septembre 2023

Best Western tends to be my go-to hotel choice when I am traveling (I have Diamond Select status). Most the time the experience is positive with Best Western brand properties. Unfortunately the Best Western in Laurel, Montana disappointed. The check-in was okay; being addressed as "luv" is not professional! The hallways and common areas smelled of marihuana. The room was on the smallish side, the linens did not look fresh and the mattress also had seen better days, other than that it was okay. It really started going downhill when the air conditioning would not work and I came to find out it was not working in the whole hotel. The night manager said that she tried to reset the air-conditioning but without success. Opened the window to let fresh air in except there was no fresh air. A railyard and small refinery were very close to the hotel and the whole area smelled like methane was being released constantly. When I asked the manager to have my bill off-set for the inconvenience of no air-conditioning I was offered 500 BW points, no cash rebate. When a hotel advertises air-conditioning, as a paying patron, I expect for the advertised amenities to be delivered. When the business can not deliver as advertised (and I understand that "stuff" happens) then compensate the customer. After looking at my BW reward point activity I noticed that the promised reward points were never issued. Overall the staffing was not professional. I can not recommend this hotel!

"Humiliating, Horrifying, Exhausting"
Deanne L, 24 Août 2023

Humiliating experience, appaling front desk staff. Not only did I feel like I was being scammed when they request a cash deposit even though I pay with my card, they changed the amount of the deposit asked me to use the ATM to get cash. Charged my card an abnormal amount. Needed a second night and because of the untrained rude staff I was screamed at and treated like I can't even describe the horror of the experience. I will never stay here again

"Terrible Hotel, too much money for what we got."
deeharleygal, 17 Août 2023

This hotel was terrible, our room had hair on the bathroom floor as well as the shower/tub. The tub looked like someone took a chisel to it. The gal at the front desk was not help at all, she would not switch our friends room to the parking lot side so they could watch there Harley she said once you are checked in I can't switch your room, bad customer service. The pool was closed as well as the laundry room, and we needed to laundry, been on the Harley for over a week needed to wash clothes.

"Poop on toilet seat. Advertised pool and spa but was closed under construction."
katiebutcher33, 11 Août 2023

Was told by the manager I would get a discount for false advertising of the pool and spa that was closed for construction and she then said she will talk to the general manager and call me. It's been 24 hours no call.

"Good location for stay on a road trip"
Denise W, 31 Juillet 2023

We stayed here one night on our long road trip up to Glacier NP. The hotel was well lit (for our late arrival!), clean and nice. Check in was easy and breakfast was delicious with many choices. We would stay here again!

"Do not recommend"
Traci T, 27 Juillet 2023

Do not recommend! At check-in I was advised the a/c wasn't working and the room might not be clean, so we were off to a great start. :/ I wound up going to get supplies and cleaning the bathroom myself the first night because staff was apparently too busy with other problems, and the toilet was disgusting. Over the next few days I had to request basic housekeeping ( trash out and towels refreshed) 3 times to 3 different people over 2 days before they finally did it. Staff is rude, incapable, and very bothered with having guests to take care of.

"Very clean"
SandyMyBella, 24 Juin 2023

The room was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly and caring. The beds were comfortable and the shower was very nice. It's a hotel I would definitely go back to! It was close to the highway, so made it easy access for going and coming. Everything was perfect!

"Disappointed"
SJS937, 19 Juin 2023

This Best Western is in need of some TLC. The guest rooms were clean and the beds and pillows were fairly comfortable. But the hotel overall needs a face lift. The pool does not work, two of the three ice machines are broke, the halls and elevator need to be cleaned and the staff needs to be more helpful. During checkin and several other times during our stay there was not anyone at the front desk

"Disappointed"
morsemovers, 09 Juin 2023

I don't recommend staying here unless, you have no other options. Rooms were not clean adequately for Best Western standards. Always a shortage of towels, Breakfast. Hallways and rooms smelled like sewage. Amenities were broken.

"Dirty"
tturners01, 07 Juin 2023

Room hadn't been cleaned. Was very welcoming to giving me another room. It was after midnight. Other room bed were lopsided. Put me in mind of roach hotel. Would not stay in this hotel again. Priced way too high for quality

"Hot under the collar, and everywhere else!"
Dirk R, 02 Mai 2023

Apparently, according to previous review, the AC has been off long enough to have done something about it, but at minimum to advise guests that it hasn't been turned on yet and give them the option to put up with it or not. The high today in Laurel was 79. I was told it was freezing last week and it just hasn't been turned on yet. We traveled from a cool coastal climate and 79 is hot to us! We didn't realize the room wasn't cooling until after moving my disabled mother and her oxygen concentrator into the room. We travel spring and summer and stay in the same hotels trip after trip, but this will be our last time staying here!

"Nice hotel"
R5253PFdanielv, 17 Novembre 2022

Thanksgiving trip cross country. It's about 10 miles west of Billings right off of I90. This lives up to the quality we have come to appreciate about Best Western…clean, friendly and a good breakfast. The parking lot was also well lit. We will definitely be staying here again.

"overpriced"
Happiness06441036051, 04 Novembre 2022

Hotel has good location, and very good staff. But needs updating to justify price. Stayed in Laurel (was here in summer 2018 as well) in November 2022, price was similar to summer price. The Laurel/Billings felt industrial rather than tourist oriented.

"Reasonable, pet friendly, food close by"
laurieg2322, 18 Octobre 2022

Good, clean room. Everything worked correctly but I didn't use the Wi-Fi so can't attest to speed. The gal at the front desk was super friendly. There are fast food places within walking distance including a McDonald's across the parking lot. I stayed here twice within a couple days of each other and one was in a pet room which was decent. I would definitely stay here again but if train noise bothers you maybe look elsewhere.

"Horrible!"
S K, 29 Septembre 2022

Had to switch from a suite to a regular room because of problems. Should have left at that point. Little portable A/C units that have to vent out open window and loud noises kept us up. Dirty room, broken tub with a bad patch job. Couldn't get anyone at the desk to adress the issues.

"Not your typical Best Western, a Great Choice"
Ventonleague, 27 Septembre 2022

It was nice to have a BW that was a great mix between the feel of the BW corporate presence and the feel of a franchise ownership like BW was in the past. This BW seemed to have more "heart" in it. It was great to be in a BW that said we have "family" pride in our lodging. The room hotel info sheet with the blurb about the town history was a nice touch. Thanks to all!

"Wonderful Choice "
JILLYBEAN1959, 27 Septembre 2022

Stayed twice because it was so nice! Great, clean well appointed room, friendly staff and fantastic location. Will go again if the chance presents itself! Wonderful grassy area for your pet, next to McDonald's, down the street to Walmart and near gas station. Cami at check in is a sweetheart! Keep up the great work!

"Very great stay"
John A, 24 Septembre 2022

From the front desk lady to the breakfast attendant, these people care to make your stay exceptional. Check in was easy and fun. The breakfast was superb. The attendant for breakfast should be awarded, she was kind and organized and made the morning shine!

"Best Western Yellowstone Crossing"
Terrence George B, 22 Septembre 2022

Pleasant, clean place with friendly, helpful staff. It is close to food places and Interstate 90. Billings is a short drive to the east. A good coffee place is a short walk from the motel. Laurel is a pleasant town and Montana has a lot of beauty.

"Well Managed Hotel"
Jeannette D, 24 Août 2022

We do not usually stay at Best Western hotels. That has changed now. We were extremely impressed with this hotel. It is obviously well managed. It is clean, in good shape, and staff are friendly and helpful. Our rooms were quiet -- no need to have our phones on white noise. The full breakfast was excellent. The biscuits and gravy was our favorite. They also have two bottles of water in the rooms (we stayed here two different times on this trip) and a letter from the manager listing their amenities. They are also close to restaurants and shopping. We highly recommend this hotel!

"Clean and a great value"
pkarajanis, 04 Août 2022

The hotel appearance was up to date, clean and friendly. Breakfast was wonderful with lots to choose from. It was right off the highway and easy to find. Plenty of parking and close to food and shopping.

"Exactly as expected"
sirjohn2022, 25 Juillet 2022

Staff were friendly and helpful. We had to have some material printed and front desk assisted us with pleasure. Room was large, clean and comfortable. Free breakfast had fresh items as well as standards. Nice large area at the side and front of the unit to walk our small dog.

"The Best"
Steven C, 12 Juillet 2022

Room was very clean and organized. Service personal were pleasant and with good attitudes. Bed was great and we got a much needed sleep. Breakfast was og good quality. Where's the bananas? Can't say enough about this Best Western!

"Way below average for a Best Western - was shocked"
H2HummerTime, 09 Juillet 2022

When I first walked into the hotel, it seemed fine. Lemonade and ice water was in the lobby, which was refreshing. Unfortunately, it went downhill from there. Although the lobby and hallways were well air conditioned, the room was extremely warm. I turned on the air as cold as it would go and waited – nothing! It was so warm I jammed my room door open with a shoe and opened the window (on a hot end of June day – that's how hot the room was) hoping for a cross breeze, as the hallway was nice and cool. It worked okay, but was awkward leaving our door open. Then we went to the pool. We noticed the pool was low; barely covering the top step, but quickly discovered why. Tiles were broken off along the top, so they had to keep the water below the broken off tiles. The top pool step was slimy and I almost slipped getting in. the entire bottom of the pool was chipping away, so you're walking on granulated cement. The hot tub looked gross, was in the same shape as the pool and the jets did not work. Everything needs to be drained and fixed. Went back to the room; it was still too warm, but we had to close the drapes to keep from being blinded by the parking lot lights and the drapes blocked any breeze we may have had. And, who wants to sleep with their hotel door open?? I asked for a different room and was told “the air is broken and most, if not all, of the rooms have no air”. I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because the beds were comfortable, rooms were clean, the water pressure was great (important because I have very long hair and if the water pressure is not strong enough, I can't even wash it) and breakfast was a STANDARD BW breakfast and was okay (BW+ has a much better breakfast). I marked sleep quality as poor, even though beds were comfortable, because it was too hot to sleep well. I avoided this hotel on my way home and drove an extra 5 hours to a BW+ in Missoula. It cost more, but was well worth it!

"Filthy and do not have any pet free rooms"
infoA6901BU, 27 Juin 2022

This hotel was filthy. The bathroom was dirty and smelled like mold/mildew. Grout was missing from the floor and the baseboard was gross. This is a pet friendly hotel, but does not have any pet free rooms, which poses a problem for those with allergies. Every other hotel I have stayed at in the past that is pet friendly (which is more and more hotels these days) has a floor or at least a handful of rooms that are pet free. This request was noted in my reservation, however they did not inform me of this until I was checking in at 8:30pm. And at that point I had two boys that had a State Golf Tournament early the next morning so we did not have the flexibility or time to waste trying to find different hotel. They both woke up and we're stuffed up! I would not recommend this hotel and we will defiantly never stay there again in the future.

"Very happy!"
Sandy P, 30 Mai 2022

We were there three nights. We had no complaints with room, breakfast, staff, or anything else. Staff was very friendly. We used the lobby sitting area to visit with local family one evening.. it was was well suited for that, especially as the evening was cold and the fireplace lit.

"Great value for travelers"
johnmI1747YW, 26 Mai 2022

During our cross-country drive, we have been looking for a clean, well-maintained, safe hotel and this Best Western provided that. This is the first time we've stayed at this hotel and we would gladly stay there again.

"Too much for below average"
Olympia65, 19 Mai 2022

This place has more than doubled its nightly rates in the last few months. Don't even bother looking at it as there more reasonable alternatives for a stay just a few hours down the road. Housekeeping is inconsistent and we found several areas that were not cleaned.

"Great place to stay"
Gerrc21, 07 Avril 2022

Our son lives in Laurel so when we go to visit, we stay here. What a great place to stay. Our Grandson LOVES the pool. The breakfast is delicious and filling. The people we encountered were so friendly and fun (our only “complaint” is the person that fixed the breakfast….super crabby and definitely NO SMILE!! Now to her defense she was super busy and by herself but a smile would have been nice!). The rest of the stay was as perfect as I could envision!

"Comfortable stay"
psw509, 30 Mars 2022

The hotel clerk Kim, that checked us in was very kind and helpful. Made our stay nice and comfortable. Just needed a place to stay overnight. Was not able to stay for breakfast but it sure looked good.

"Friendly Service - Dirty Pool"
Whitney M, 27 Mars 2022

The check-in person was AMAZING and accommodating. The pool had green, dirty water and you couldn't see the bottom. Room was clean other than the stained mattress on the pull out couch. The sink drain was also slow to drain. It was a busy weekend, so we paid more than usual and I wouldn't say the hotel was worth the higher price. Good if can get at a lower value.

"Great place to stay"
ahljd, 15 Mars 2022

We have stayed at this hotel in the past and it is consistently a nice place to stay. Easy access from the interstate, clean rooms, good breakfast. They do allow pets. It is conveniently located to places to eat and shop.

"Dissatisfied!!!"
Excursion50169074709, 12 Mars 2022

Beds very uncomfortable, Rates different then on Best Western site because of Championships...$40 more on a Thursday and Friday...wasn't busy at all... Jacuzzi not working in hot tub....I would not stay again... I stay at Best Westerns because of comfortable beds to get great night sleep...didn't not have

"Great place to stay and hold a meeting"
OnTheRoadAgain586, 06 Mars 2022

This facility is clean and has wonderful staff to assist with a small conference. There was personal attention given in preparation for the event, instead of disinterest sometimes found with a remote large chain.

"Wonderful stay for price."
princesssw2021, 23 Janvier 2022

I've been to alot of hotels well traveling for work and this by far is one of the nicest I've been to especially for the price. This wasn't a work trip it was a trip with my dear husband and we really enjoyed ourselves, the room was extremely clean and the showers water pressure in our room was the best I've ever experienced at a hotel. The pool was closed for cleaning when we were there, not a big problem. The only thing that really could have been better were the pillows.

"Amazing staff! Great Breakfast"
deannel247, 22 Janvier 2022

The staff is super amazing and just happy to help with any problems and it makes the whole being away from home so much better. One of 2 hotels in laurel and I was so crabby one night I was so impressed by the way the manager handled it and genuinely wanted to make me comfortable.

"Best western"
basilbostwick, 19 Octobre 2021

Excellent hotel the people that work there bend over backwards to make you comfortable. I have stayed there several times and they've always made an extra effort to accommodate all my needs. I've never had any issues or problems at that hotel

"The best of a few average choices."
Sailjohn99, 03 Octobre 2021

The best of a few average choices. Room was fine, but not particularly special. Bed was really comfortable, but shower and floor were dirty. Pictures of rooms are deceptive but you would expect that they would make themselves look as good as they could. Train noise was noticeable.

"Hidden Gem"
Bruce B, 29 Septembre 2021

I was looking for a place close to the interstate, and chanced upon the Yellowstone Crossing. I'm glad I did. In future trips across Montana I'll stay in Laurel, not Billings. Everything about the room was good, staff were friendly, and the rate was the best I'd seen all summer. Real value.

"Easy stop on business road trip"
HappyLady777, 14 Septembre 2021

I enjoyed a comfortable rest here and hope to return soon for a longer than an overnight stay. This hotel is within close proximity to travel sites I would like to visit in the future with family and friends

"Great for pets but not children if swimmers"
Yvette L, 06 Septembre 2021

If you are looking for an affordable clean pet friendly place this is a great hotel. The dog area is huge & great. If you have kids that like to swim I would look for another hotel. Poor is in desperate need of repair, as is the hot tub they are both cracking and have very discolored water. The hot tub snags your suit.

"Amazing service"
BrokenPants, 02 Septembre 2021

We were checked in within a minute. The first room had an AD issue but they were in the hall with a key to another room as fast as the elevator could get them upstairs. What could have been a problem wasn't even an inconvenience. Very impressed. The room was quiet and everything worked. Easy to get to from I90.

"Great Stay"
220frontd, 25 Août 2021

Every thing was great from start to finish. Breakfast was great with convenient timing. Rooms are modern and very clean compared to other hotels that we stayed during our road trip. Front Desk was awesome .

"Not impressed"
Molly W, 17 Août 2021

The pool looks as if it is in need of an update. Tiles are falling off the side of the pool and the water in the whirlpool looks like it hasn't been changed in months. The front desk person (when available, which was rarely) was curt, unfriendly and clearly looked as if she wanted to be some place else. The beds were not comfortable at all. We stayed in a Towne Place Suites the night prior that was incredible in every way and we paid less than we did for your hotel. The lobby looks like it may have been updated in this decade, but that appears to be the only thing that has. The room smelled old and damp. There was some unrecognizable food found behind the bed when we looked for a toy we dropped. Very few luggage carriers and no help to try to find another one. The only ice machine that worked was on the third floor and I had to hunt a person down to find that information only for her to tell me it was the second floor ice machine - nope - that one doesn't work either.

"More like "Worst Western""
Matt K, 02 Août 2021

As a brand, I have historically thought BW was a pretty good indicator of quality hotel. The property at Laurel was unfortunately not. First, we experienced a delay in our road trip and when I realized we might not arrive to the hotel till almost midnight, I called the hotel to make sure they would hold our reservation for us. Twice no one picked up-- not a great sign. When we arrived they still had our room for us, but I was pretty shocked to arrive in my room and see that the hotel did not have regular in-wall AC. Fortunately, they had placed a small window unit in the window, but it was held in place with cardboard and ductape and required the curtain to stay open for it to actually cool the room (which also meant we had early morning sunlight waking us up). 2021 is not the first sweltering summer in eastern montana so I am flabbergasted as to how a new property was built without ACs in the rooms. Additionally, the rooms are pretty small and the beds were quite hard. When we arrived downstairs for breakfast, almost everything was picked over and with 45 minutes left in the service time, no one came by to restock any of the foods. Despite my title, I'll say that the room was clean even if it was small and the person who checked us in was very friendly, but that's about it for my commendations.

"Julie did Well"
mswalleye, 26 Juillet 2021

Booked a room several months ago through Expedia for this hotel. Went to check in and the hotel had us for a different night then the one I had a conformation on. Showed the clerk {Julie} the conformation but she was not able to change her incorrect booking. We tried to deal on line with Expedia but it was difficult. Finally Julie just canceled the booking and got us a room. Now the room was over twice as expensive as when I booked it months before. After showing Julie the conformation with the price we had before she was able to get a price that was close to what we had before. Thanks to Julie we did not have a ruined trip. Julie gets a high five! I will not use Expedia again.

"No AC Poor Breakfast Poor Communications Manager Poor Phone Skills"
darylincda, 23 Juillet 2021

Experience Described in Title. Staff on checkin stated breakfast 6-9 , checkout 11. No mention of no AC in room. Breakfast next to nothing. Many in our group went elsewhere for breakfast. Manager never returned my call post stay. Manager has poor phone skills. Still waiting for notice of $50 promised credit for poor conditions.

"Not the best Best Western"
ichoosejoy, 12 Juillet 2021

The room was not dirty but the sheets on the bed were not fitted tightly and when I pull back the covers and see wrinkled sheets I always get a little queasy and wonder if they are really clean. The breakfast was okay. The staff was polite.

"terrible stay"
Patti J, 10 Juin 2021

The staff was unfriendly, Breakfast at 7 am was next to nothing no hot foods available, room had dirty pillow on bed. No ammenities available. The hotel was understaffed, front desk clerk had to come and get food to put in fridge for breakfast, there was no hot tub, or pool available, no fitness room. we stayed at other Best Western hotels in Montana that week that were fully open and all amenities were available.

"Horrified at the filth at this hotel!"
Blokken01, 24 Mai 2021

What would you do if you checked into a hotel after a long day of driving and peeled back the quilt and top sheet of your bed only to find dirty socks in the bed, a bottom sheet that looked like someone had slept in it and stains of yellow on the quilt. I tried to call downstairs to the front desk and the phone did not work. To top it off, the window did not have a screen in it so a child could have easily fell out of it from the second floor? This is a National chain hotel and has AAA recognition and is rated an 4.1 out of 5. I am mortified. To find this in the time of Covid and a worldwide pandemic makes me physically sick.

"Worst Best Western I've Ever Stayed at!"
Dave F, 22 Mai 2021

There was dog feces on the sidewalks and parking lot! Trash was piled next to trach cans and left for days. The stairwells had spilled liquid and debris that were there All Week. The first 90 degree day of the season and the Air Conditioning Did NOT Work. Then refused any kind of compensation for the heat induced lack of sleep. The Body Wash and Shampoo dispensers were empty. The bathroom door handle came off when closing the door. I returned early one afternoon to find three employees standing next to the front entrance smoking while the items above, that they could have taken care of, were not.

"Great place to stay!"
Connector791314, 18 Mai 2021

Easy access to the interstate! Newer clean hotel in a great location! Walmart, casinos and eating places are within walking distance. Friendly staff! If you are traveling with pets, they had a beautiful area out back.

"Best Western Management - Please Pay Attention to This Review"
133nikia, 10 Mai 2021

There is a “masks required” as you enter the lobby. The hotel was fine and the desk clerk was fine except that she wasn't wearing a mask. Granted she was behind plexiglass when we checked in but even when she was out and about she did not wear a mask. Nor did she ask others to where masks. SERIOUSLY people!. There is still a pandemic going on and no one else in this hotel was wearing a mask besides my wife and I. Ok . . . Maybe the adults have been vaccinated but several children were running around without masks on and you know they are not vaccinated. Come on people. Even if you don't care if you catch Covid or you think you are immune - you can still spread it. It's common courtesy. The mask is not necessarily for you - it's for others. Best Western Management please pay attention to this review

"No air conditioning TV was broken"
Shortcake_Wyo, 03 Mai 2021

The air conditioner was broken and the TV was out of order. The staff did nothing about it. Said they would bring us a fan and to open the window. They did not bring us a fan. The lady at the front desk was overwhelmed and did not know how to fix the TV. There were blood stains on the carpet and the room did not get cleaned up.

"friendly and convenient and affordable"
kimr57, 02 Mai 2021

Not fancy but clean, quiet, friendly staff and affordable rates. Easy to get to and parking for bigger vehicles. Drug store close by and several fast food places to eat. Need a caffeine boost in the morning there is a coffee stand very near. Walmart is just down the road.

"Great Service "
Wrldtrvlersnhntrs, 12 Février 2021

We were on our way to skiing and we usually stay in Billings but we missed our turn and went on to the next stop and we stayed here. I felt they were reasonable on a price, we had a very minor issue and our gal took care of it immediately. The ice machine was under repair and she directed us to another one they had which was totally fine. That employee made our stay awesome due to her attention to detail. I was very impressed as you can tell.

"Definitely go back!"
dianedL5132WC, 03 Février 2021

Went to to visit some family and stayed here for the weekend. Staff was very friendly and helped us late at night when my toddler got sick with new linens. We're very helpful with any travel questions we had! would definitely go back!

"Not following Covid protocols"
LynnTravellogger, 22 Novembre 2020

No one working at the hotel was wearing masks. The front desk clerk kept hers under her chin and insisted on talking to me through the gap between the two sheets of plexiglass. Our door lock was being temperamental and a housekeeper a few doors down ran up with no mask and got between my husband and the door and scanned us in then turned and looked at him and said “there you go” about 1 foot away. Kind but not so kind....I felt like we would likely get sick the whole time we were there. And yes there is a mask mandate in MT

"Front desk finally called the maintenance man"
h2ohedatgmaildotcom, 20 Octobre 2020

I would have given a higher rating but the heat issue was too big when it 30 deg F outside. Checked in online but the room I reserved online with Priceline was not clean, so the front desk gal checked an upgrade room after calling someone I assume was a manager. Said I would be in a Queen Suite. I thought GREAT, only to find out it was as cold as a meat locker. Turned the heat up all the way and after 1.5 hours it was not getting warm at all. Called the front desk, she said she'd call the maintenance guy. After another 30 min I had enough and went to the front desk to see if another room was available. She made another call and then another, then said the maintenance guy just arrived. After about 10 min or so a knock at the door and viola, the maintenance guy. He said the previous guy they had shut the manual hot water heat valves off when they replaced electronic control valves. We now have heat!!! Thank you maintenance guy! Other than that issue, its a great hotel! I thought I was going to have to go to the next town to get a warm room. The bed was comfy both foam pillows and feather pillows were on the bed. Great night sleep.

"No masks and room dirty."
cathycH1723HD, 14 Octobre 2020

Arrived to check in. Front desk person with nose above her mask(though behind plexiglass) was only worker we saw wearing a mask. Other 3 employees maskless. Hair in tub drain. Dusty lamps and filthy window ledge. Carpet stained and worn. Mattresses comfortable. Stayed here a couple years ago, was much nicer. Won't return.

"Simply stated, they need to try harder."
6530bx4, 23 Septembre 2020

This place is neither great or horrible but needs to be and can be better. Covid procedures could have been better and seemed to have been observed in the breach, especially the mask policy. Front desk attendant smoking outside. Noisy and a bit odorous room AC. Room remodeling was pretty well done but the rest of the hotel (lobbies, elevator, etc.) needs a bit more TLC and frankly should have been taken care of during the remodeling. Noisy from the people above us. In sum, needs more attention to detail and closer observance of Covid precautions.

"Horrible - No Air Conditioning"
Cameron_Lanyk, 21 Septembre 2020

I stayed at this hotel, or should I say slept in my car in the parking lot, on July 7th. The AC was out in the entire hotel. I wasn't told this at check in. After entering my sweltering room I went down to the desk to complain. They played dumn and said oh well I'll text my maintenance guy. About 1 AM I coudn't stand it anymore and slept in my car with the AC on. Here is a news flash, when you have a hotel full of guests on a hot summer night, you don't "text your guy", you call an HVAC contractor to fix it immediately. Every guest in the hotel was irate in the morning. They refused to give refunds. Do yourself a favor and skip this hotel. Thanks Best Western for sending me into dangerous mountain passes on little to no sleep! Also this hotel is across the street from an oil refinery and also next to the train tracks so don't plan on opening your window unless you like the smell of refined patrolium and train whistles.

"Showing it's age."
Barry C, 03 Septembre 2020

Traveling during Covid-19 we stayed here hoping for the employees to follow their companies policy on masks. The lady at the desk wore hers around her chin and held it down lower when talking to you, there was a customer sitting in the lobby without a mask and we wondered why he just didn't sit in his room. The company has a mask policy the just don't enforce it. The rooms looked older and were showing their age with beds that sagged and towels that had that sandpaper feel to them. Price was good but my sleep is more important and I will pay more for some comfortable beds. They do offer a grab and go breakfast bag and are located close to the highway and restaurants, hopefully they can upgrade the inside and follow their own rules.

"Great, inexpensive stay"
Sherpa51417411853, 30 Juillet 2020

My friend and i stayed in two separate rooms and both were clean and the king bed was very cozy. The spa/pool room was very warm and inviting. We had no problems whatsoever and it was very nice and quiet at the end of the hall. Very much recommend this location.

"Great Value, Close to Everything"
SpiketheBiker, 15 Juillet 2020

I stayed here recently on my way to Yellowstone National Park. Very nice hotel, very reasonable pricing. It is close to a fair amount of restaurants and local and chain stores for any necessities. Room was very clean, and comfortable, quiet when I was there. Bed was comfortable as can be. Of course with 2020 restrictions breakfast was limited to grab and go bags. Bottom line, I enjoyed my stay here, and would choose this hotel again if I am in the area.

"A bit Disappointed"
WesternProtectors, 11 Juin 2020

We needed to stay for only two nights. And only one of those two were on the weekend. They should allow you to pick what you want for breakfast as they are not crazy busy with Covid. I understand why there breakfast was they way it was but they should at least allow you to pick what you want. Choice Hotels allowed us to do that. Traveling on a bike was hard enough let alone we just wanted some res . We showed up a little early and was told checkin was at 3pm and gave no exceptions. Disappointed.

"Open for business"
Olympia65, 01 Juin 2020

We stayed here after a long period of closure due to covid virus. The staff was helpful and rooms were clean and mindful of social distancing. The room had not been used at all I believe during their closure, so the water had to run for a bit.

"ANDREW'S REVIEW BEST WESTERN IN LAUREL, MT"
Joeskibum, 10 Février 2020

Very nice place with friendly staff. I usually stay at Holiday Inns but pickings were slim in Laurel,MT. I was pleasantly suprised with this Best Western. It was beautiful. My suite was super comfortable. I thought the price was reasonable.

"Great hotel and very reasonable"
Dustinkrech, 13 Janvier 2020

Hotel is very nice with an amazing staff, and very reasonable for what you get and the service. Very close to billings and surrounding area and lot of options to eat and shop. A must try for frequent travelers to the billings area.

"New renovations and a great breakfasts "
Olympia65, 12 Janvier 2020

This was a pleasant surprise to return here after a few years. Rooms are clean, updated and comfortable. The breakfasts are very adequate and complete and the friendly hostess was much appreciated! Would definitely stay here again.

"Great Experience here .. Great Staff and Facility"
Karen M, 12 Décembre 2019

My Best Encounter was with " Jessica at Front Desk". I stayed here 3 Years ago and got treated like a Second Class Citizen ... This facility was not very nice back then. I Am Thrilled I gave this Place a Second Look. Wow .. Jessica Treated Me Like I was Family .. Warm, Friendly and Really Listened to my needs. She Cared about my last experience and Promised me I would Enjoy This Stay. Wow .. I am Impressed with All The New Changes. Pleasant Staff and Very Clean Facility. Also had a Great Breakfast with Jamie "Breakfast Lady. Great Food and was Very Helpful .. I am a Former Business Owner and I would Hire Jessica in a Heartbeat. She is a Class Act ... She Should have a Manager Badge on her shirt. She Absolutely Truly Exceeded My Expectations. I will Be back in the Spring .. I now know that I don't have to stay in Billings Anymore ... I will Stay at This Property. Thanks Again .. I already did a Great Review on Yelp and would do more if I knew where they would help you the Most.

"Hotel Stay"
Michael C, 07 Novembre 2019

This hotel is in Laurel, MT outside of Billings. Its a comfortable hotel. It does have a swimming pool which we look for when we had our grandson staying with us. They do have a decent continental breakfast.

"Very nice hotel for 2 star rating"
Nattmlj, 06 Novembre 2019

This hotel was picked using Expedia due to its ratings. The hotel is easy access to Freeway. A few fast food restaurants within walking. There are gas stations also within walking. It is very clean and tidy. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a breakfast bar that is very well stocked with fresh fruits, breads, and pastries. There is hot and cold cereal, two flavor choices of waffle mixes, topping, the sausage was good not greasy, the eggs were prepared just right, good flavor. The bed was comfy, I didn't care for the pillows that much but that was my opinion. I was extremely happy staying one night here. I would recommend it for anyone to stay at including the family because it has a nice indoor pool.

"Laurel Staff"
salmonjulie10, 18 Octobre 2019

Excellent service, clean rooms and great breakfast! We were treated like family, We were there for a funeral and to put our sister's affairs in order. The staff did everything they could to help us accomplish our tasks.

"Enjoyable stopover spot"
D852VLandyr, 09 Octobre 2019

We were passing through from Alberta to South Dakota and had booked for an overnight stay. We were well received, our room was clean, warm, and much better than expected for a 2star. Breakfast was the highlight, the staff were entertaining and wanting to provide more than we could want. The biscuits and gravy were delightful, the eggs am, bacon never ran out. Nor did the smiles. We will be back!

"Flattered to deceive"
Cosmopolitan784497, 08 Octobre 2019

Initially I thought this was going to be a good place to stay. The building was modern, the reception was friendly, and the room was a good size and well-furnished. But it rapidly went downhill. Several things in the room did not work properly, such as the clock and the TV, but the main problem was with the breakfast: some items had run-out, including milk, when I went down and there was nobody around to check or replenish them; and the whole breakfast area was untidy and dirty.

"Great Room. Great Stay."
Mark A, 02 Octobre 2019

We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended it by two days. Ryan, the manager, visits diners at breakfast and offers suggestions for touring the area. We drove the Needles and Iron Mt. at his recommendation, and we feel like we've seen the best of what the area offers. The suite w/ two queen beds, on the third floor, was more spacious than we could have hoped for. Plenty of room to stow your gear, room enough to prepare small meals, and a couch and living area for watching TV. Breakfast was better than many 2 star motels: freshly prepared oatmeal (not the instant stuff) and the usual eggs and breakfast meat. Pleasant dining area and room enough for everyone even when it's raining and everyone is staying put.

"Fantastic"
TheBeeCove, 25 Septembre 2019

Great best western with a fantastic spread. Clean and polite staff. Conveniently located for long distance travelers. Breakfast is typical of BW and rates are within reason. Beds are comfortable and clean.

"They lied and took back the credit they gave me."
Frodo1956, 24 Septembre 2019

The manager of this place is a thief! And so is her boss. Her name is Lauren and her boss is Jeremy who from what I am told works in Seattle. I stayed at this place July 27 and had problems. Finally Jeremy/Lauren agreed to give me a $70.00 credit on my credit card. Next month in August the credit showed up and all was well. They then decided I was too stupid to check the following bill statement on my September billing where as they went back and charged the $70.00 back on to my card. These people will access your card a month later or maybe even longer and put charges back on it .. BEWARE! Lauren will not talk to me on the phone and they will not give me Jeremy's last name. These people have stole money from me by accessing my card without authorization. Anyone who has stayed there should check their billing statement to see how much they stole from you!

"Another excellent stay at the Laurel Best Western Yellowstone Crossing"
Lawrence M, 13 Septembre 2019

We have stayed at the Laurel Best Western for a decade or more when we're in Laurel and always have a good stay. I would recommend this Best Western without hesitation. The Best Western is next to McDonalds if a quick meal is needed but other restaurants are close by. We also got a very good rate for military/government workers.

"Safe, clean and convenient"
Melanie C, 13 Septembre 2019

I recently spent two nights at the Best Western in Laurel MT. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, recommending a nearby restaurant and providing assistance in printing boarding passes (computer issues). Check-in and check-out were seamless. The breakfast was good (hot and cold items available) and plentiful. The room was safe, clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is in a good location near shopping (Walmart nearby) and a few restaurants (to include fast food). I hesitate to give it five-stars as it's not a five star establishment, but it's a great place to stay.

"Great Break"
ecb41, 10 Septembre 2019

Stayed here before driving over the Beartooth Highway into Yellowstone National Park. The property was immaculate. Rooms were large. Bathroom was large with the usual amenities. There was a large flat screen TV. Air conditioning worked well as temps were in the 90s. Breakfast had everything you could ask for. It was a very nice break on a long road trip.

"Good value"
Jeffrey T, 07 Septembre 2019

Conveniently located near the Interstate exit with Walmart close by and various fast food restaurants within walking distance, this property with its clean rooms, friendly staff and reasonable rates is a good value. Breakfast is provided in an area with ample seating and the variety is sufficient to meet the needs of most. Comfortable beds with high quality mattresses and pillows contribute to good rest. Towels are fluffy. The best review a business can receive is return business and I would not hesitate to return.

"Weekend getaway"
DayTrip398546, 30 Août 2019

We always stay at this location when we go to Billings. We like the small town feel away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Plus the breakfast is always excellent. The pool area is open for 24 hours.

"Nice and quite location"
61Tom, 27 Août 2019

It was a nice and quite location. Even though it is close to the freeway. The yogurt machine and fresh fruit for the yogurt was awesome. The eggs and bacon, not so much. But would we stay there again, for sure we would. Not bad overall.

"Business"
Kirk S, 26 Août 2019

This made burial of our mothers' ashes a much easier transition with such caring employees to help in easing the pain. We were at ease with staff and will definitely be back. Thank you for all your help.

"Excellent Value and Location"
Michael J, 21 Août 2019

This location just off I-90 is reasonably priced with many restaurants and shopping locations. From the receptionist to the room everything was great. The rooms and bed are comfortable. The Best Western is located within walking distance of a variety of restaurants and shopping. I ate dinner at the Beartooth Grill, about 3 minutes walk from the Hotel. Beartooth Grill is a family friendly restaurant with a good variety of food. There are other fastfood restaurants right near the Hotel. I highly recommend this as a great location to stay if you are going to visit the Beartooth Pass and access to Yellowstone National Park Northeast entrance.

"Prefer Best Western"
Mgeorge2019, 20 Août 2019

The Staff was very courteous, friendly, and helpful. Room had kitchenette and was very clean. I vacationed in Montana for 12 days. I stayed at 7 different places, I recommend Best Western Yellowstone Crossing to stay at. I would stay there again.

"Not the best"
WeekenderWanderer, 19 Août 2019

We stayed here for one night. After getting settled we noticed how cold the room was. Repeated attempts to adjust the thermostat had no affect so we had to turn the system off. I notified the front desk and they offered to give us another room, but we were tired after a long drive and declined. When I went to the front desk to notify them about the broken thermostat it was apparent that the clerk was frustrated. She called about the problem but did not seem to get the support she needed. I felt embarrassed for her. The other thing we didn't like was the location of the breakfast area. It was right in the middle of the path between the front desk and the elevator and it was congested. When we checked out we felt we were on display for everyone having their breakfast.

"Enjoyable stay!"
xmasbaby25, 06 Août 2019

We were on our way back from a motorcycle trip to Yellowstone Hotel is very clean and cozy Check in was exceptional...i so wish i could remember the name of the lovely woman who checked us in..but she was delightful and definitely an asset to your hotel! Complimentary lemonade upon check in (was definitely appreciated after a hot bike ride!) Rooms are spacious and very clean and quiet! Nice comfy king bed, small kitchenette area and roomy bathroom with lots of hot water and good water pressure. We were so tired after a day of riding we did not get to enjoy the pool or hot tub this time. Breakfast buffet area was large, clean and well stocked...however, this was our only day on the trip to sleep in so we did not get to enjoy the buffet as it ended at 9 am.(Mcdonalds next door for those sleepy heads like us!) Location is on the outskirts of town, so not a lot of restaurants within walking distance for dinner. Being on a bike we really enjoy putting the bike away for the evening and walking. For those with a car, this wont be an issue. All in all a very comfortable, enjoyable stay..i would return to this location.

"Would never stay here again!!!"
FrequentFlier56557, 29 Juillet 2019

The room light was out when we walked in. There wasn't any soap or cups. I asked for a blanket for the roll away bed and they didn't have any blankets. Hardly any shampoo or cream rinse. I asked for the manager to call me and she never did

"Horrible all around"
Michael O, 26 Juillet 2019

We would have left the hotel, but everything in the area was full due to a same day concert in Billings. A/C broken, and the hotel put a dirty fan in the room instead. The pool was so cloudy that you could not see the bottom at 4 ft. The overnight staff were rude. The final straw was the urine stained sheet in one of the queen beds. AVOID this DISGUSTING and poorly managed hotel.

"Welcoming & fun!"
anitajordan05, 20 Juillet 2019

Lovely place in unusual surroundings. Our favorite BW yet. Beautiful swimming area. Enough room supplies for 4. Our 5 yr old loved the popcorn & so did I! The hostess at the desk made us feel welcome!

"Laurel MC Ride"
gbsimmonsbiker, 20 Juillet 2019

Excellent front desk staff service. Room could not be serviced the next two days due to staff walking out and no replacements found. Room and facility common areas appeared to be clean. Breakfast was exceptional in quality and number of selections. Spa was out of service. Not a place you want to stay if you don't like unmanaged children running around.

"Good Nights sleep, but not relaxing"
418ernestl, 19 Juillet 2019

We had a good nights sleep but the overall experience was not relaxing. When we arrived in our room bothe the A/C and the refridgerator were turned off. First off walking into a hot room did not help push the driving day behind us. Not having a cold refrig also made us leave our Cold item in a cooler in the car until the frig cooled off creating unnecessary trip to the car to retrieve cold item to relax with. The breakfast area was situated such that all clients had to walk through the middle of the area to get to the front desk which created many more people in a small dining area. Breakfast itself was mediocre. Could be more inviting if more was done to improve traffic flow.

"Nice choice"
SheRidesABeemer, 19 Juillet 2019

As others have said, this property is nice and clean, up to date. I appreciate the crisp sheets, 4 pillow bed. Strong shower and full towels. The HVAC system is suppressing quiet. This was a good location after a long day on the Beartooth hwy.

"Leisurely stay passing through Laurel :)"
jessef834, 06 Juillet 2019

This is yet another nice best western that we had the good fortune to stop in at on our summer bike trip. It was a very busy night at this hotel, but Amanda did a fantastic job at keeping her composure through the heavy workload she had to deal with. We had a slight problem with a noisy recirculating fan in our room, and we were immediately granted another similar room with a quieter fan. Great breakfast in the morning! We did encounter a problem on our bill upon checkout, but the checkout staff did rectify it promptly. There is good value here compared to other options in the area-definitely worth the short drive from Billings :)

"Very good, but ..."
Vibrationalresonance, 29 Juin 2019

Nice hotel, lovely front desk experience, great pool. The challenges for me: 1) bathroom vanity is in the guest room (not the bathroom) without a door, no privacy and noisy at night - I will never understand why a hotel would do this; 2) the light switch to the toilet is outside of the bathroom, so I have to wake my husband up if I want to turn the light on during the night; and, 3) there's no door to the closet area and it's right by the door to the room - feels like my private things are very exposed.

"Great access to highway, clean rooms, comfortable beds,"
Peter K, 26 Juin 2019

Safe neighborhood, right off the interstate, comfortable beds, clean rooms, breakfast was good, hot tub was hot. All was great except for one huge issue. After we settled into our rooms, the front desk checked someone else into my kids room. So this lady just walks into their room, thinking it was hers. Then an hour later some guy walks into my room with a card with my room number on it. Then after 10 pm the front desk calls and wakes me up asking who is in my room. When I brought it up in the morning to the front desk, she looked down and gave the standard apology that she was supposed to say. She did not care at all, did not tell me she would tell the manager, nothing. I will NOT stay here again. Did not sleep well wondering who else they would give a key to my room.

"Adequate for our needs"
lilhouseinthewoods, 23 Juin 2019

We like quiet places, and this hotel is right in the heart of a very busy little city, but the property is nice. The room was clean and comfortable and breakfast had a variety of hot and cold offering. There are restaurants, stores and gas close by. Easy on and off the highway.

"Good Nights Sleep"
BigSkyTripper, 18 Juin 2019

We fortunately were able to reserve this room the morning of our stay... we moved from a different motel, that was not adequate, in a nearby town. The clerk was very kind to upgrade us during check in since our room was not yet ready and she didn't want to make us wait The room was clean, the king bed was great, and it was surprisingly quiet on the second floor. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because the breakfast offerings were kind of bleak.

"Pleasant, worth the stop"
Journey05206635573, 14 Juin 2019

Quick and easy stop off from visiting Yellowstone National Park. One of the reasons I stay at Best Western more than other hotel brands is the home feeling they bring to the table and here was no different the the rest. Clean rooms, good food and helpful staff.

"Gnome friendly, too"
Bartman40s, 27 Mai 2019

The room was decent and clean, the staff was friendly, the breakfast was what one would expect (except the yogurt machine being broken). We also noticed the EXIT signs on the baseboard, so obviously this hotel is gnome-friendly as well...(which I did mention to the staff as a great marketing tool...) Big advantages are: right by highway so easy to get to; not in Billings so more reasonably priced. The pool was closed, but that is not a big deal, as not a big pool person

"Pool Closed"
Jet54820050819, 14 Mai 2019

We were not informed that the pool and hot tub were closed for maintenance at time of reservation which was 1 week prior nor when I called to confirm 2 days in advance nor when we checked in. We drove out of our way and were counting on this amenity.

"Breakfast issues"
Curiosity01317050269, 10 Mai 2019

They took away the breakfast 15 min before the advertised time and were rude about it. Staff turned the waffle maker off in the middle of cooking my waffle... the staff member kept telling everyone she needed to clean up so she could leave at 10:30.

"Great place to stay"
Stay21771225278, 22 Janvier 2019

Close to gas stations, restaurants, casinos. Nice and clean. The lobby staff were great. Room was very clean, quiet. Plenty of parking. Not far from freeway. They have a popcorn machine in the lobby! Yay!!

"Laurel is only about a 15 minute drive west of Billings and worth considering"
Steve H, 11 Janvier 2019

Laurel seems something of a railroad town with an oil refinery, so it's not on a list of scenic places. However, if I'm in the Billings area I tend to stay at this Best Western hotel. It's got what I need: comfortable clean room, nice breakfast area, good internet service and at a reasonable price. An added advantage is a nice pub / restaurant about three blocks away. On this last visit I arrived at night coming from a different direction and had a bit of trouble finding it. If you see the golden arches of McDonalds the hotel is about one block east and around the corner. A good value for the money.

"Boarder line"
redbaron12016, 15 Novembre 2018

Hotel could do with a face lift. Mainly caters for mass tourism. Breakfast area very crowded in the morning (stay away) . Pool area (stay away) Rooms need a face lift. Staff is friendly and attentive. There are better places to stay.

"Well located, inexpensive hotel off of highway"
david b, 24 Septembre 2018

clean hotel, clean rooms, pet friendly with considerate and helpful personnel for an inexpensive hotel that caters to people who both visit and work in Billings, MT. Stayed there on a cross country trip to Vancouver, BC.

"Excellence"
imcclellan2018, 19 Septembre 2018

We have been on the road for 9 days and this was one of the best hotel we have stayed at. Friendly staff with excellent service. The food was good with plenty of hot coffee 24 hours a day. We like that it was near a Wal-Mart and other shopping area.

"Little compensation for huge inconvenience "
dvanguil, 12 Septembre 2018

We were very disappointed by the hotel's response to not having our room ready when we arrived at 7:30 at night on August 20th after a full 11 hour day of driving. The front desk explained that, due to housekeeping staff difficulties, our room wasn't ready but they”were cleaning the rooms as quickly as possible”. So, we waited...and waited with continued promises that it would be soon. Wish we had gone on, because it was 9:45 before we got into our room. Totally unacceptable. I asked for compensation and they took off $18.00. Not enough in my opinion. The original room charge was 120.54. I used a Best Western voucher for $10.00 taking it to 110.00 and was charged 92 and change. Not much compensation for such inconvenience. I called Corporate Customer Service But was told that's all that is done. Gives Best Western a black mark in our travel choices.

"Not bad, not great"
SusanAndJim, 11 Septembre 2018

Ours was a one night stopover on our way across Montana. The hotel is conveniently located on a street running parallel to I90. There's a McDonald's next door and a Walmart a mile or so down the road, with Pizza Hut between. We were checked in promptly and efficiently. There was popcorn and cold orangeade in the lobby. Unfortunately, when we got to our 3rd floor room there was loud music blaring from one room, and 2 rooms near us had their doors propped open. That bad omen for the night was quickly fixed by the woman at the front desk. Our king room had a comfortable bed...and was quiet save for the occasional rumbling of a train going by behind the motel. I had a good night's sleep; my husband said he heard the train whistle more than once. The room vanity is outside the bathroom, a plus in my opinion. There was plenty of hot water, good towels and decent toiletries. There was a full size microwave and fridge with a small freezer, as well as a desk and easy chair. There is a laundry room (with reasonable charges) on the first floor. There was the usual non-smoking sign in the room, with an interesting twist for the lawyers out there. The sign reads “If smoking occurs during your stay, a $250 cleaning fee will be billed to your account.” Hmmm. If someone smokes in the adjoining room... This hotel must have had some raucous parties in the past, as there's a “no pool parties” sign on the door to the indoor pool. Hot breakfast was the usual sausage and eggs and waffles and biscuits and gravy we get at other Best Western's. This time, the sausages were sliced and nicely fried. Cold items included some really good pound cake, hard cooked eggs, yogurt and cereal. One unusual touch was how friendly the attendants were, stopping by tables to ask if everything was ok. Not a bad place for one night. But not one we'd likely choose again.

"MT visit"
bsramp, 02 Septembre 2018

We checked in the afternoon of our stay. Even though the room wasn't ready it only took minutes and it was ready! We had an excellent room close to the entrance handicap accessible and very accommodating. The staff was helpful and courteous. We were located between Billings and Bridger since we were visiting relatives in both areas. It was easy to locate the hotel and drive in and out of easily.

"motel nice clean tho breakfast a bust"
peterpanjaffray, 31 Août 2018

the room was nice and clean we had a king room was spacious. staff friendly and welcoming. tho the breakfast was a bust. rubber eggs pastry the kind from vending machines needs more variety and better quality of food. the lobby nice and inviting I would stay here again but plan on eating else where.

"Very clean and modern motel"
David F, 29 Août 2018

The place is very clean and modern. Very friendly and helpful staff. Not many TV channels. The location is easy to find, easy on/off the interstate. Breakfast not the best but not bad either. Inspite of the location being in high traffic the room was very quiet. Was able to tightly close window drapes to block out all light.

"Go into Billings"
20GerBear15, 24 Août 2018

The Best Western at Yellowstone Crossing has a nice exterior and the beds are so-so on comfort. The breakfast lacks greatly for this hotel chain. It is worth driving another 10 miles down the road. Rooms do not get cleaned other than bed covers pulled up on more than one nights stays, breakfast is not made on time or half missing.

"Will stay again in a heartbeat"
Michael M, 18 Août 2018

From the moment we checked in we knew this was going to be a great stay. The clerk was very helpful, with a good sense of humour. He gave us a great recommendation for a restaurant as well as other helpful information. The room was clean, spacious and had all the amenities we needed (plus a few extras). If you have time it is interesting to walk thru town. The locals were very friendly, stopping to let us cross the street, in one case even backing up to let us pass.

"I love this place"
deannan141, 16 Août 2018

Nice and friendly place too stay .well worth the trip.the pool and spa is clean and nice .the free breakfast is real good. I love this place .we had too stay here because our truck Brock down stayed for 4 days. The ford dealer ship.was good too us.

"Make sure their air conditioning works"
mjmk01, 05 Août 2018

Stayed here after a few long days on the road. Their central air conditioning has not been working correctly for awhile, but they failed to reveal this to us at check in. We had a hard time falling asleep, as the air conditioning was functioning intermittently. By early morning it seemed to be blowing hot air. While apologetic for the problem, they had no trouble charging us the full amount for a extremely substandard room. Even though this was a known problem, no discounts on our stay were offered. They do not appear to care about the discomfort of their guests. It'll be a fine hotel once this is fixed, but I cannot recommend it as is.

"Great hotel"
Alex C, 04 Août 2018

Fantastic staff, very helpful with a positive attitude. Everything was very clean, breakfast included and they have punch and popcorn in the lobby. The pool is nice, open 24 hours., but a little too warm!

"Great Hotel"
amber c, 23 Juillet 2018

We stopped here for the night on our way to yellowstone and the staff was super friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean and the beds were ok. The pool water was a little cloudy and some parts damaged, but ok for the price. It was a fairly quiet hotel too, didn't really hear anyone running up and down or slamming any doors like in previous hotels we stayed.

"Friendly Staff, Decent Building but Could be Cleaner"
Saskadon, 19 Juillet 2018

If you're looking for an affordable place to stay before driving the Beartooth Highway into Yellowstone, this hotel is worth considering. I would have rated it higher but for the hair in the bathtub and brown smudge on the bathroom door. We had a comfortable night and a decent breakfast.

"Excellent stay!"
Jerry R, 17 Juillet 2018

Clean comfortable room, the only downside to this location was that there were not many restaurants nearby other than McDonalds which is not on my list of places to eat, any where. Ended up going to Subway, which is always good.

"Well appointed and a good check in experience"
ELLeonard, 09 Juillet 2018

Made this hotel a base camp for three days in Montana. It served well for that purpose, but my son was disappointed that the pool was cloaked for cleaning on our final day so he was unable to use it. Seeing as that was a selling point for picking the venue, it was a serious disappointment. Beyond that the hotel was a nice place to base out of for several days.

"Great place to stay in Laurel MT"
Douglas S, 28 Juin 2018

The people are very friendly. The place is clean and fresh. Pool looked great. The breakfast was good. Access to the freeway is very easy. Not too far to Yellowstone and the Tetons. I would recommend staying here to anyone. Price is reasonable and the room was very comfortable.

"Nice place"
nikkiwenger21, 03 Juin 2018

The best Western Yellowstone crossing in Laurel Mt was a great place to stay. We were looking for a place to stay with a pool and breakfast for a decent price with clean rooms. We definitely got that. The rooms were very clean and beds super comfy. The breakfast was really good and staff was super friendly. We would definitely stay there again.

"Nice hotel."
carolpalant, 20 Mai 2018

Nice hotel for the price. About an hour or so to Yellowstone entrance, but it's a lovely drive. Staff is friendly and helpful. Hot tub was closed for repairs when we were there, that was a disappointment. Nice continental breakfast. Lots of casinos in the area.

"Check your reservation!"
ccrew1024, 06 Mai 2018

Call ahead to make sure you have rooms that you reserved! Made reservations for 2 rooms, they only had one and was booked, magically found us a king room (3 people) but it happened to come with a sleeping gentleman! Magically found another king room but rollaway was far from comfortable!

"Great Value"
lindseyhildreth, 01 Mai 2018

We were greeted by friendly staff. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The a/c was loud unless we had it on high. Breakfast was ok, I've had better breakfasts at Best Western hotels before. Will stay here again if I need to be in Laurel.

"Great place to rest"
btoergel, 29 Avril 2018

Enjoyed our second stay at Laurel. So nice to be able to walk for a bite to eat and the staff and motel are very friendly. Loved the fresh popcorn and the beautiful container of strawberry lemonade. Very welcoming after a long day on the road.

"Cancel reservations and still charged"
ashleyferrell123, 27 Avril 2018

The hotel canceled our reservation we had booked a month in advance. They then charged us $1100. After that was finally resolved, they then charged us $117 for a no show when two separate employees told us we did not have a reservation. After 3 days of talking with employees and best western customer care, they refunded our money but no real apology or any type of compensation. This is not how to run a business. We travel for work 6 to 8 months out of the year and will never attempt to stay at another best western.

"Newly Renovated Property- Best Amenities in Billings Area"
NancyGrace1959, 02 Avril 2018

The Best Western Yellowstone Crossing is a newly renovated property perfectly located in Laurel, Montana. It has just had a full remodel of the rooms and public areas. I stayed at the hotel before and WOW the hotel is completely redone and modern; I love it!!! Breakfast goes above and beyond what normal BW provide. The service staff is amazing. The rooms were clean, the front desk is professional, and the General Manager Annette Reiter goes above and beyond and treated all of the guests as family at her house for a family reunion. The overall experience is one that cannot be beat in Billings or at the dumpy other hotel in Laurel.

"Met my expectations"
Sharon A, 24 Mars 2018

There's no a whole lot of choice in Laurel. Some remodeling was in progress and that always makes things look bad. The staff was professional and friendly. I'd stay there again as I like the Best Western chain and there aren't many other options.

"Satisfied"
747nealw, 07 Janvier 2018

We've stayed here several times before and will stay here again. Very comfortable, clean with a good breakfast nice choices. Swimming pool is open late for kids and grown ups too. Has eating places with in walking distance if needed.

"Great Name Brnad stay in Laurel"
defjab, 31 Décembre 2017

I am not native to Montana, however it seems to be that many things are more of the mom-and-pop variety and not so much on the name brand variety. This is a name-brand hotel that was super clean, nice and affordable. Right off the high way and staff that was willing to do whatever needed to ensure a pleasant and enjoyable stay. I would not hesitate to stay here again if my travels took me this way.

"Good Stay"
mtripguy, 13 Décembre 2017

A good option just off the interstate in Laurel.....fast food within waking distance...the price was right, the room was clean, the pool and hot tub were great, and the morning breakfast was above average.....would highly recommend.

"Outstanding"
scottbP1392HJ, 06 Décembre 2017

Customer service was awesome, breakfast was amazing and the cleanliness and service of rooms was phenomenal! I would highly recommend this property that is traveling in the area. It was an great experience!

"good place to stay"
loviso, 29 Novembre 2017

Nice bed, good breakfast (just make sure you find out from the front desk what time it is served), in room thermostat, roomy suite! Would definitely stay again if in the area! My only complaint is that the sofa and chair were stained and very uncomfortable for lounging!

"Do not stay here"
seanstevens45, 28 Novembre 2017

If you have a choice to stay anywhere else, do it. The problems here started with a very unprofessional call to make the reservations. I booked 2 rooms. One a pet friendly room. It took almost an hour for the person to book it with multiple times being put on hold. When I asked for the reservations to be emailed to me like every hotel does it caused a problem. They finally just emailed the reservation numbers to me. I called several times leading up to our stay to make sure they knew we had 2 rooms reserved. A pet friendly and a king room. When we arrived they gave us a double queen and knew nothing about a pet room. After we got the pet room figured out we went upstairs and found out we had the double queen room. When we tried to change the room they said it was all they had available. When we went back upstairs my wife checked the beds. Both had body and head hair in the sheets. We were a little grossed out. When we again asked for a new room or to get it cleaned they said there was no rooms and no housekeeping. I finally was given a new sets of sheets my sick wife had to put on the bed. This hotel is old, dirty, and the staff does not care. I cancelled our reservation for the way home. I would not stay here again it was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I probably will not stay at a best western again due to this hotel.

"Needs refurnish"
Matthew R, 28 Novembre 2017

Overall room was clean except for stains on the furniture and carpet. Bed was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lacking of quality . Biscuits were hard and dried out. Hotel staff very courteous and friendly. Best part of my stay.

"Don't stay here, save your time and money"
jessicanelson1012, 22 Novembre 2017

I booked my room online through Best Western and gave my credit card information to make sure I was getting what I booked a little over two weeks in advanced. I reserved a King suite that had a separate room for the bed and I was traveling with siblings, privacy was important. The only room left was on the pet floor which smells and is very dirty, I did not have a pet. My room did not have a separate bedroom and was all open. When I approached the front desk they did not seem to care even though I told them the ONLY reason I booked in Laurel instead of billings for for the suite that had privacy. They said all the other ones with the room were taken. While there I noticed a bunch of gentlemen working to improve the hotel, I'm sure the rooms were given to them and paying customers were just tossed to the side. One of the girls offered me a discount on my room which I accepted. The next day I put my do not disturb sign up so that my 10 month old could sleep in after a 14 hour drive. Housekeeping came and knocked on my door around 10 and I had to tell them no and again about two hours later all while my do not disturb sign was posted on the door. Both times she woke up the baby from his nap. My husband tried to renegotiate the rate of the room and the girl at the desk was rude and declined. The next day I went to play in the indoor pool with my husband and son. The pool is very dirty and FREEZING! The hot tub had stuff floating in it. When I asked the older lady at the front desk she said she didn't know if it was heated and had never even been in the pool room. I checked out the next morning 4 nights early. I was not asked how I was, how my stay was or anything. I was handed a receipt and that was it. Why on earth would I pay more for a dirty room that was not what I booked. Like I said, the ONLY reason why I booked here was for the privacy. I went into billings, found a much cleaner, nicer room for even cheaper at a higher rated hotel than the discounted price Best Western gave me, I wish I would have never even wasted my time thinking this would be a good stay. I will never stay at a Best Western again, I'd rather sleep in my car.

"Just so so"
625maryannm, 21 Novembre 2017

We wanted to use our points but the Best Western we usually stay at doesn't accept points so we were advised stay at the one in Laurel. Even staying at this lower end BW we had to buy points. Very disappointing. Our original room did not have heat so had to change rooms. Wanted to order a delivered pizza but there was no phone book for Laurel only Billings. The desk clerk, Cassandra, was nice enough to order the pizza for us. Breakfast was good. They had chocolate batter for waffles. That's a first along with fun toppings for the waffles.

"Don't stay here!"
964neveragain, 20 Novembre 2017

The same garbage was on the hallway floor our whole stay. Comforters were ripped. Older lady at desk was very crabby! She told us the hotel was not a free for all and said kids were running the hallways. I don't have any kids!!Not impressed!

"Nice place to stay"
Kathy L, 16 Novembre 2017

Overall nice place to stay. I like that the pool is open 24 hours!! The beds were nice, I had a good sleep. The only issues were the sound of the train in the middle of the night, and the refinery that is near the hotel.

"Bday party/overnite party"
tanyak129, 13 Novembre 2017

We rented the banquet room for a reasonable price and amount of time. It was perfect to hold 14, 5th graders! Afterwards we rented a hotel room for the rest of the night where there was plenty of room for the 6 kids that stayed over..plus a 24hr pool, who can have a complaint about that with kids!! Staff went above and beyond for not only me but for all the kiddlets I also had with me!

"great place"
donj414, 11 Novembre 2017

I have stayed here before and had a good experience. Another great stay. Helpful friendly staff. I will stay here again. Staff member at check-in was excellent. Very helpful and nice. The room was clean.

"Great place to stay"
Lisa W, 29 Octobre 2017

We enjoyed our stay here. It was nice and quiet. The beds were comfy as well. We also enjoyed our breakfast. There is a train that goes through, but it didn't really bother us. I would recommend this place for the price and what you get.

"Stay in Laurel, Montana"
Ann K, 18 Octobre 2017

We stayed one night in Laurel, Montana, on our way to Idaho. We were given an amazing price on a king bed w/jetted tub. My husband was having hip problems so this was great for him. The room was large and clean. I think the décor was slightly older but still nice. This Best Western hotel does allow dogs so if you don't want to sleep in one of those rooms make sure you request a pet free room. This particular hotel only used the 4th floor for animals. When we arrived we heard a lot of trains going through town and thought it might be a problem for sleeping but it didn't bother us at all. Breakfast was mostly carbohydrate based and we prefer more proteins and fresh fruit but it was still okay and the worker in the breakfast area was very helpful.

"Almost home"
davidbC7530ZY, 15 Octobre 2017

Great place to stay. I will make this my home base when I am in Billings. The staff is professional grade. It was a delight staying at this location. I also stayed at Clock Tower on this trip. I preferred this location to Clock Tower.

"Good hotel with competent friendly staff"
Amethyst31, 29 Septembre 2017

Definitely recommend this hotel. Conveniently located for travel and local restaurants. Good breakfast, nice rooms which are very well appointed. The local trains are a little irritating with their "droaning" at night but that is the only complaint.

"Excellent"
Mary G, 24 Septembre 2017

We stayed here one night on our cross country trip. The hotel was clean, the room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was very yummy. We will be staying here again on our way back.

"Unbelievable at a Best Western."
Mike O, 24 Septembre 2017

The room given to me smelled of urine and stale cigarette smoke. Nauseating. The hallway smelled of stale cigarette smoke. The lobby was no better. The breakfast area had the same odor. The carpet in my room should have been removed and replaced. Stained badly in many areas. Dirt in all the corners. Damp in spots. And the smell! Desk clerk was indifferent and impersonal. Would make no eye contact. Never thanked me or offered any information. Seemed annoyed when I asked for directions to my room. I could go on, but I'll say simply that I will never make the mistake again of assuming that because the sign says Best Western, the hotel will be clean and comfortable. This is obviously a management problem, and no competent manager would allow this hotel to welcome guests until the issues are resolved.

"Disappointing. I expected more from Best Western."
Debby K, 23 Septembre 2017

Problems with check-in. I'd asked for a ground floor room due to a recent back injury. I was given a room on the second floor which was inconvenient. BW beds are usually excellent - this one was too soft which didn't help my back. Micro & fridge in room was nice to store snacks, drinks, and munchies. Very limited breakfast selection. The biscuits & gravy were fresh and tasty. But no eggs, ham, bacon, sausage, English muffins, etc. Overall the room was ok but I think it's a bit overpriced for the value.

"Quick stop on our way hunting"
6-13-1966, 20 Septembre 2017

That was comfortable pillows were nice price was very affordable staff was friendly breakfast was not the best usually cheaper breakfast have cream cheese for the bagels and more choices for a basic continental breakfast coffee was weak waffles the usual toppings were stale one strawberries not very desirable however for the price and the comfort of the room I would stay here only other complaint to 65 is I look forward to a nice Jacuzzi after driving and the jets in there Jacuzzi tub we're basically nonexistent

"BW Yellowstone Crossing is Excellent"
quanningl, 19 Septembre 2017

As the manager, Annette did a great job fulfilling customer's needs, even though it was still far away from the date of arrival. The check-in process was really quick as they prepared all paperwork for you before you were there if you had already prepaid your room. I had a 2-room reservation, both of those king beds, the hotel staff upgraded one of those to a king suite for no extra charge. Both of our rooms are spacious, quiet and clean, and they really are worth the price I paid for. I would definitely recommend this BW Yellowstone Crossing to others if they plan to drive the Beartooth or go to any other nearby scenic view.

"Excellent"
David B, 18 Septembre 2017

A great place to stay. Very reasonable rates. Very clean and well appointed room, quiet and spacious. Pleasant and very helpful reception. Certainly one of the best breakfasts we have had outside the top hotels - great range in a spotless dining area. The young man in charge of the breakfast did a wonderful job. Very convenient location. Highly recommended.

"Good value"
christopherkI5041ZV, 18 Septembre 2017

Overall this is a great choice when traveling to the Billings area for work, most Billings hotels do not offer state rate. The coffee is not that great at the breakfast but the rooms are always very clean and the rest of the breakfast menu is always good.

"nice place"
tomX280TU, 18 Septembre 2017

stayed here on way home from yellowstone. nice updated rooms. nice pool and hot tub. friendly staff . breakfast nice variety. has elevator to reach second floor. third floor allows pets. close to gas stations and fast food. but if you like a salad bar with homemade soup go the yogurt store in town.

Convenient for Interstate, average hotel, close to restaurants and services for freeway. Nothing special about location and surroundings but surprisingly quiet and clean. Complimentary breakfast with average selection

such a nice place to stay. beautiful hotel . everyone is very nice and helpful, loved the beautiful pool which was recently redone. the layout of the hotel was very nice. If we are in the area again we will stay the there. it's a great place to get out and stroll around the beautiful area

"Noisy, dirty, outdated"
Kelly C, 21 Août 2017

Have stayed here many years in a row, but will look elsewhere from now on. We travel with a pet, so are always on the 3rd floor. Rooms are dated, carpets are filthy with weird bumps underneath, and beds/bedding are old with frames that stick out the sides to murder your ankles as you walk by. To top it all off, there is now a lumber mill that runs 24/7 out back so you cannot leave a window open at night - this is new and the deal breaker.

"Stay at Best Western Laurer Montana"
mdrambler, 17 Août 2017

Greeted by very friendly staff. High marks here. Room was clean and very nice. I would stay there again. They have re-branded the signs and logos so do not look for old branding you might be use to. I like the new branding. Bottom line all good!

"O.K. stopover on way to Yellowstone"
Karenb001, 15 Août 2017

Yellowstone Crossing gives the impression this hotel is in an attractive area. In fact Laurel is industrial. On one side of the hotel is a saw mill and there is a large industrial complex across the road. On the plus side, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was O.K and was reasonably quiet even though the hotel is close to major roads. Breakfast was reasonably good. Fresh cooked waffles, good orange juice and good coffee. It was expensive for what it was but anywhere near Yellowstone in peak summer is pricey!

"Montana needs Help"
johncC2892SN, 10 Août 2017

I guess this hotel is basically following suit with all other service providers in the state of Montana. I stayed in three hotels in Montana the past week and all were terrible. All were Best Westerns, this one was the worst. Blood on the wall, sheets not change out and a smear of feces also on the wall.

"Unexpected pleasure"
Dennisa R, 09 Août 2017

We really enjoyed our two night stay in this hotel. It was close to the interstate, but was quite. It was very attractive and well kept. I would highly recommend stay here. The only down side to this hotel was a limited restaurant selection in the immediate area. However it is only about 20 min from Billings.

"Travel to Yellowstone NP-First Stop Laurel, MT"
stacybT3686ZE, 08 Août 2017

This BW was in a great location in Laurel, MT. Close to restaurants and gas stations. Appeared to be newly refurbished. Nice lodge look in general. Lemonade w/strawberries and fresh popcorn were provided for guests. Nice sitting area in the lobby. Front desk staff recommended a wonderful restaurant within walking distance of the hotel. Breakfast was really good and had two waffle options-regular and BLUEBERRY...they were really good.

"BW Yellowstone Crossing, Laurel, MT."
Thomas Y, 07 Août 2017

Very helpful; personnel. breakfast had a good variety and ample supply of cereal, meat, hot cakes, fruit, etc, etc. The room with a king bed had plenty of room. Air conditioner worked well, which was a relief since it was so hot on this trip.

"Worth the price in the Billings area"
GemStateTraveler, 06 Août 2017

Stayed here because the price was 30% less than staying in Billings which we were visiting (Rocky Mountain College). Worth the 15 minute drive into Billings for sure. Room as clean...would stay here again.

"Very Disappointing"
MoJoTours, 03 Août 2017

We stayed here for the last night of our USA/Canada holiday. We chose the hotel due to the favourable reviews we had read, but quite honestly, it felt like a different hotel to the one we had read about. The receptionist at check in was very good, friendly and efficient. However, the whole feel of the hotel was not to our liking. The corridors were dark with a carpet that needed its edges cleaned and totally relaid as it was crumpled all the way along. The linens and towels in our room were clean and fresh, but the edges of the carpet in the room and also behind the furniture had clearly not been cleaned for a long time. Our room also felt a bit cluttered with furniture. The breakfast area was dark and dingy, with no natural light whatsoever. Breakfast items were not replenished quickly enough even tho it was not overly busy. This is a pet friendly hotel but we found it unacceptable that a couple had their dog eating out of a dog bowl at one of the dining tables. There was a sign saying no pets allowed at the breakfast bar.... So why was this allowed??? The indoor pool was very nice and refreshing, but the bubbles in the hot tub unfortunately did not work. As another review has stated, there were many parts of this hotel which really need totally modernised and updated. All in all, we did not enjoy our stay here. Laurel itself is not one of the nicest locations either. Next time, we will pay more and stay in Billings.

"Nice stopover!"
Suzanne K, 02 Août 2017

We were here for just one night on our way to Beartooth Highway and Yellowstone. We have no complaints. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and there was a hot shower in the morning. My husband and I were up early as we wanted to experience the Beartooth Hwy. in the a.m. and arrive in Yellowstone N.P. by noon. We thought the complimentary breakfast was excellent. We liked the fact that you had choices: you could have strawberry or plain waffles. Toppings included powdered sugar, strawberries, or chocolate chips if I remember correctly. Coffee creamer choices included caramel, hazelnut, French vanilla, and a DaVinci gourmet flavoring. Pastries were also included as well as hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, biscuits and gravy, and sausage. I think Yellowstone Crossing made the effort to present a welcoming breakfast and we appreciated it. We would stay here again!

"Last choice"
elim306, 01 Août 2017

The staff was okay; not super friendly. Both beds in our room were covered in human hair; one bed appeared that it had been slept in, as the sheet were wrinkly. I was offered another room, but we had already unloaded and it was 10 pm; I didn't feel like loading all my children up. Instead we waited for the lone night staff to get off of work so she could go to Housekeeping to get us clean sheets. The breakfast was good, but hard to get to because of it's location to the pool and elevator. You have to kind of crowd around tables and people to get to it. I would not stay here again if I had the choice of another hotel. We almost always stay at Holiday Inn. This was my first time staying in Best Western. It will likely be my last if I have a choice.

"Disappointing"
JoAnn S, 27 Juillet 2017

This hotel is an odd mix of really charming decorating and things that could really used an update. I also think it could use a thorough cleaning! I can only judge the room in which we stayed, but the curtain had lots of little holes in it, the bathroom fan was filthy, the carpet had a bare spot, and the lamp shades had cob webs on the top of them. I think the cleaning staff cleans just what's on their list of things to do...but nobody ever does a deep clean of the premises. On the positive side, the furniture in the room was very nice, but while the chair and ottoman was quite comfortable, the upholstery should be cleaned! When we left, there were 2 gals at the front desk, and they were both very nice.

"Really Great"
LindaLou6517, 26 Juillet 2017

I found on the website that this motel has a military discount which includes retirees. We got a very comfortable room with a queen sized bed for $87. Everything was perfect! Breakfast was typical but plenty of everything. I loved that there were lots of easily accessible electrical outlets in room 117 as we always have lots of things to plug in. Also loved that the room was cooled down when we arrived. I overheard an older employee encouraging the younger man watching over the breakfast things and I appreciated seeing that. Made me feel good! Even though the location was close to I-90 it was perfectly quiet in our room. Really great stay. I wished we could have stayed longer but the road called our name and we had to leave.

"Enjoyable Experience!"
Mary B, 23 Juillet 2017

Enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Yellowstone Crossing, Laurel, MT. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was hot and satisfactory. The room was comfortably cool and the shower hot! The amenities at the hotel met our needs.

"Hotel nice,but check in"
GELCJR, 18 Juillet 2017

Check in more than 1 hour late. There were no clean rooms at 3:00 PM. A front desk doing everything to solve problems. And the general manager acting as if everything were normal. Forget about request Diamond Member. Business center not working. Best Western just like the others. Everything worked in the room Good breakfast. The General Manager should be more concerned with his guests.

"Nice Modern Hotel"
Nitsan_D, 16 Juillet 2017

The hotel is nice, modern and clean. All kinds of restaurants around, but the hotel itself is quiet. There is an elevator and an inner pool. Good breakfast (including hot sausages but cold eggs). Not far from the hotel there is a large industrial zone, and a train, but none of this is really heard inside the hotel.

"Great Stay"
James L, 06 Juillet 2017

We have stayed at this hotel several different times. We have enjoyed it each time. We really like that this hotel offers guest laundry and is in walking distance to various businesses. We will stay here again once we are in this area.

"The best customer service at this location"
Rick B, 06 Juillet 2017

This location has an extremely accommodating staff and made our oldest Son's wedding a bit less stressful. The rooms are large and the beds very comfortable. The breakfast is very good, I just wish they offered hot eggs, not hard boiled. Overall, probably the best hotel experience we've had.

"Great- after checking in"
Douglas H, 03 Juillet 2017

First she tried to put us into a king room(3 people), then she gave us a room that she already gave out(a couple on the bed) embarasing to say the least. the it was fine. The breakfast was good, good checkout.

"Yellowstone"
Ken E, 01 Juillet 2017

My friend and I were on a coast to to coast motorcycle ride when we spent the night at this facility. Upon arrival, hospitality was spewing out. The on duty clerk was very helpful right from the beginning. Tracy prepared a hot bucket of water to clean our windshields. It only got better from there.

"Laurel"
James D, 01 Juillet 2017

This hotel is above average. Good staff. Good internet and breakfast. Convenient to Billings, MT. Value is OK. Stopper in sink didn't work correctly, but not bad enough to get maintenance to fix it. As with most hotel/motels the toilet paper is too thin. I don't get why they all do "cheap" on such an item. Noise in room is not quiet if kids are bunking in the adjoining room. Laundry worked well and was economical.

"Always excellent"
gailg938, 23 Juin 2017

everything about my room was exceptionally nice, with the exception of Laurel not being the nicest part of my beloved Montana trips! Wi-Fi was excellent, as were all other amenities/furnishings. The beds were super comfy. Room temperature controls allowed freedom of personal comfort, not being limited how warm or cool as many do. This is greatly appreciated by one whose home temps at night are a cool and comfy 55. Shower water pressure was great also, as well as instant hot water. The breakfast selection is far better than the average "continental" breakfast. The staff were exceptional, and I very highly recommend staying here if one needs to do business in Laurel or Billings.

"Would not stop again."
Alan M, 21 Juin 2017

The spa notice clearly says "No Drinks" yet a guest was drinking from cans and clearly had too much, made our visit to the spa un-pleasant . . . plus the spa "bubbles" weren't working. We also smelt cigarette smoke in the room from the internal air-con system, we were also not convinced that we had been allocated a "pet free" room. The breakfast was the poorest in quality and service we have had in 8 BW stays in the USA. since mid-May

"Great place"
Travellover196650, 19 Juin 2017

Spent one night in this cute friendly hotel. Great value with friendly staff. Highly recommend. Definitely family and pet friendly. The pool and hot tub are nice after a long day of travel. The breakfast was good, normal hotel fare.

"Best Western Yellowstone Crossing - Laurel, MT"
Jana A, 18 Juin 2017

Fast, friendly, courteous service. Quick, easy check-in. Clean, well maintained facility and rooms. Comfortable beds. Great shower pressure and lots of hot water (3 stayed/showered in our room). Great breakfast. Quick check-out. Rooms are accessed from inside the lobby so you'll have to use a luggage cart if you have a lot of luggage.

"Great Breakfast"
GFrib, 15 Juin 2017

Great variety - biscuits, gravy, sausage, eggs (hardboiled) waffles. Great service by staff. Very busy, but still quiet. Convenient location. Being tourists, we missed the brochure rack in the front lobby area.

"Decent place to stay"
steven s, 15 Juin 2017

We ended up here on the spur of the moment and the hotel staff was very accommodating in offering a room even though we had a dog along with us. The room was fairly Spartan but OK. The breakfast was OK but not one that I'll remember for a long time.

"Clean place, friendly staff"
WeL0veTravel, 16 Mai 2017

Enjoyed our overnite stay here, no complaints about room, staff or the average included breakfast. Went to a couple of nearby 'casinos' attached to business establishments...they're a hoot! Definitely NOT Vegas!

"Nothing to write home about"
P2740XYvanessas, 08 Mai 2017

I have stayed at Best Westerns in multiple places and overall have been happy with this chain. Unfortunately this place was not the case. When we checked in they had "upgraded" us to queen suite. Well this meant instead of two queen beds which is what we requested, we got one queen bed and one queen sofa sleeper. We had a wet bar with fridge and microwave but we would have much rather had a real bed! They did not have any available rooms with two queens so we had to stay where we were or find another hotel. Also, the floor lamp did not work, the shampoo dispensers were empty, we did not have bedding for the pull out sofa and when the housekeepers came the first day they cleaned up and took the bath towels hanging up and did not replenish them. Lastly, the fan/air conditioning kicked on and off constantly with a loud, irritating noise each time. They could improve a few things at this hotel-getting the reservation correct would be my first suggestion. Checking to see if an "upgrade" would have worked for us would have been nice.

"Do NOT stay here"
MPZ1286, 29 Avril 2017

We arrived exhausted after a long flight to find garbage in our room: an orange, an empty gallon water jug, a used water bottle on the nightstand, and a half finished bottle of Coke. The desk manager came up to remove garbage after we called. There were hairs all over one of the fiitted sheets- they definitely were NOT changed, and a used soap at the sink. The floor had crumbs I could feel with my bare feet. Worst Best Western experience EVER. We stayed, only because we were too exhausted to move rooms.

"Broken Items in Room, Unfriendly Staff, Bill Inaccuracy"
Ingridanne88, 18 Avril 2017

We decided to book directly with the hotel, rather than an online vendor -- called and received a confirmed rate of $91 with taxes/fees included. The first room we were placed in had a toilet that was not working -- was moved to another room because "maintenance had left for the day" (it was 12pm). The next room had lights that did not illuminate fully -- were told issues would be fixed by time of our return that evening (around 10pm), they were not. Upon checkout, were told that the manager had discounted our rate due to the inconvenience - but our bill read the original cost quoted. Front Desk Agent stated that I had 'misheard' her the day before and $91 was the discounted rate. Would not contact manager and offered no explanation. Horrible customer service.

"Nice pool"
andrearosin, 15 Avril 2017

Me and my girls stayed here for a couple nights. It was a great place to swim. The girls loves the pool and hot tub. The popcorn is the best!!! We checked in at 4. The front desk lady was so helpful and nice. That morning the front desk lady wasn't so helpful. Had kinda an attitude. She wouldn't reactivate my girls room key. She said they needed my key!!! But over all it was a great place to stay and would stay again!!!

"Would not stay here again"
Sylvia S, 12 Mars 2017

I reserved a king room for my husband and myself. I noted that the hotel was advertised as a non smoking facility. That is very important to us, as we are not smokers and are very sensitive to the smell. We checked into the hotel, and the staff was nice and friendly. We went to the third floor to find our room. Upon opening the door, we were overwhelmed by the smell of cigarette smoke. I went downstairs and told the front desk person about the room, and asked if she had another room. She said they were all sold out. We were very tired as we'd just driven 10 hours, so we stayed in the room. When I checked out, a different staff asked me how my stay was, and I told her about the smoke. She said "humm, another guest said the same thing." Even though the price was right, and the location convenient, and the breakfast better than most, I would not stay here again on account of the smell. Sorry.

"Great Hotel"
T2977PJleslieh, 10 Mars 2017

We enjoyed our nights stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room and bed great. Will stay here again. Breakfast for a week day offered many options and everyone seemed pleased with choices. Coffee options plentiful....plain to syrups and teas.

"Nice Place to stay for a weekend trip"
Steve B, 07 Mars 2017

We needed a place to stay for a weekend trip to Billings. Price was great so we decided to stay in Laurel. Room was clean and tidy. Staff was nice and the check in was quick and smooth. It is close to several restaurants which was nice. It was definitely worth the price we paid and would stay here again.

"Very quiet for location"
BrendaH3, 03 Mars 2017

Lobby very well maintained with great staff. Room clean. I did call about the bath tub as there was damage to the inside which was exposing more fiberglass and small hole. It was taken care of. Full breakfast not the standard pick your cereal and a have some toast which was nice.

"Poor Customer Service"
mswalleye, 27 Février 2017

This poor review is because of a situation handled poorly. We Checked into the hotel for a four day stay because we have family in this town. Upon checking in nothing was said that the pool was unavailable. We have stayed at this hotel several times over the years since it was built as it has have some nice features; pool/hot tub, breakfast bar, and close to the interstate and everything we need in Laurel. The Grand kids love swimming in the pool when we visit. So when the Grand kids came over to go swimming we find out about the pool when they go to the pool area only to find a small sign on the door saying it is closed. I asked the gal at the front desk about it and she apologized but too bad. We ended up spending money to go to a hotel in Billings so the Grand kids could go swimming. We come to Laurel once or twice every year, we will be staying in Billings from now on.

"Laurel MT"
BryceandGail, 18 Novembre 2016

Best Western is the hotel of choice for us. We have stayed at many locations. This was the worst room we have stayed in. There was something under the carpet that was lumpy throughout the room. The internet was also very slow. Most BW have very nice dresser set ups where the refrigerator, microwave and TV are. This had an old dresser and the microwave was sitting on top of the fridge as if we were at a motel 6 or similar. Disappointed

"comfortable stay great staff"
Debbie M, 23 Octobre 2016

I was stung by a wasp shortly after checking into the hotel. the young women at reception was extremely attentive to my needs. I sincerely appreciated her kindness and professionalism. The room was very clean, comfortable & quiet. Great location for travelling.

"Nice but showing it's age"
lakelady57, 18 Octobre 2016

First time I'd stayed in a Best Western in a few years. Beds are too soft for my taste and showing their age. Bathroom was small as well. On the plus side breakfast was good and the in-room refrigerator had a separate freezer compartment. Just around the corner is an IGA grocery store so I was able to get away from fast food and gas station food on my cross country drive. Would choose it again for these reasons.

"Very Comfortable"
Rene K, 18 Octobre 2016

Easy to find off the interstate, very clean comfortable room, lots to eat for breakfast , quiet location, close to shopping and restaurants, would definitely stay here again if we were driving by here

"Nice hotel, good rooms & breakfast"
Mark H, 17 Octobre 2016

Very nice, clean rooms with good breakfast. Nice indoor pool too. Room was large (King room) with desk and very comfortable lounge chair. Coffee machine, fridge and microwave too. Only bummer was we were on level 2 and early in the morning could hear those above us walking around. Suggest asking for room on level 3

"Why not fix it"
wyobbq, 09 Octobre 2016

Clean rooms, friendly staff and overall clean facility. The reason for the low rating is because of the unresponsive maintenance and the front desk's willingness to make excuses (valid or not) as to why it wouldn't work. I was told the card reader on the back door does NOT work when the weather is cold. After 3 days of telling both the day shift and the night shift, it never was fixed. Don't think I would put a device on something that doesn't work when it's cold in Laurel, MT. That's kind of like putting an AC unit on a house in Phoenix but you can't use it when it's hot outside. The "auto-answer" was I needed to swipe my card a few times and it will work. I guess I'm one of the dumber guests after spending 80 nights in a hotel this year because I could not get it to work. They finally hung a sign on the door to tell guests to use the front entrance on the 4th day. Other than that I would recommend this place. Just don't stay when it's cold or use the front door.

"Best kept secret so why am I tell you this?"
Brikergrandma, 06 Octobre 2016

My husband and I have stayed many times over the past years and enjoy the staff, comfort of the room, and wonderful breakfast. This is one of those places you enjoy visiting, but don't want everyone to know about so you will always be able to get a room there. To me Yellowstone Crossing is like coming home for a visit.

"I'd stay here again"
Casey B, 04 Octobre 2016

Nice, clean hotel that is easily accessible. Friendly staff, complete hot breakfast, pleasant room. Solid Wi-Fi, and quiet facility. Comfortable bed, and room had good-sized fridge and microwave. My husband actually ate the breakfast, but he seemed to enjoy it (though there was canned fruit, not my favorite). We didn't have time to use the Fitness Center or pool.

"Good, Clean, Comfortable....But!"
TechyD, 01 Octobre 2016

You can always tell a BW facility by the way it's furnished and set up. This is no exception. Well decorated and cheap laundry facilities and free popcorn! On the down side, The toilet quit flushing and on inspection, the handle had come disconnected. It was held together with a piece of wire for Pete's sake. I reconnected it and it worked ok....no charge BW.

"Several Disappointments"
Maxschauersmom, 29 Septembre 2016

Booked this hotel because it is listed as Pet Friendly...not so. Pet rooms are on the 3rd floor half way across the hotel. To take my dog to the green area required walked back half the length of the hotel, taking the elevator to the ground floor then walking the entire length of the hotel to the back green area for business. Every hotel I have ever stayed at that was Pet Friendly had rooms close to an exit for convenience.....

"Great location!"
Ed B, 07 Septembre 2016

My wife and I stayed here on our trip to Yellowstone NP. Right of I-90 with everything you need close. Great place to start your entry to the Park on Beartooth Highway!! Kuddos to the manager who was multi tasking running the breakfast while also managing the front desk by himself!!

"Very comfortable"
lowflyingowl, 30 Août 2016

This BW is just off I-90. There are restaurants in the area and a Walmart not too far down the street. Although the surroundings are typical frontage-road, the hotel itself is very nice. Clean, very comfortable rooms and a decent breakfast with make your own waffles, eggs, yogurt, cereal...etc. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a small grass area with a few picnic tables in the very back of the motel. I stopped here after riding over Beartooth Pass.

"Trip to Visit Famiy"
203lauriel, 28 Août 2016

This is a nice hotel - the staff is friendly and very helpful, breakfast is great and the location is good. The hotel is pet friendly and the pet fee is reasonable - just an FYI, though, all pet rooms are on the 3rd floor in case that needs to be taken into consideration.

"Better that Billings!"
Monte H, 22 Août 2016

On our return trip home from Great Falls, Mt. we tried to get a room in Billings. Not so easy, since the State Fair was in full swing there and available rooms were more than we wanted to pay. What to do? Stay in Laurel, just a few miles down the road from Billings with a delightful hotel that met all of our specifications. The rooms was large with a very comfortable queen bed, the bathtub/shower was well thought out for my husband with mobility problems with great water pressure. The only thing that might have been better was the breakfast but it did offer muffins, scrambled eggs and sliced and fried sausage bits. Not the best but adequate.

"Dropped the Ball"
John C, 05 Août 2016

We have stayed at this motel on several occasions and enjoyed our stays so I booked a room for 08/05/16. When we arrived we were told they were overbooked and did not have a room. The desk clerk stated they had tried to call us the evening of 08/04/16. We were at home all evening and did not get the call or a phone message. The reservation was booked on the Best Western site and I received a conformation e-mail. BW really dropped the ball on this one.

"Nice place to stay"
Todd H, 02 Août 2016

We stayed here after traveling up Beartooth Pass highway 212 from Yellowstone national park. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was very good. The pool was great and we enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of driving. The location is just outside of Billings Montana and I think this gives it in a vantage. It is right off the interstate and easy to get in and out of and the price was a little better than Billings. If you are going to Yellowstone or coming back from Yellowstone take the Beartooth Pass on the way, it is a beautiful drive.

"Comfy, clean hotel"
mbamom2, 28 Juillet 2016

Passing through Montana, we found an affordable, brand name gem at this hotel. Substantial complimentary breakfast but get there early to have choices. The beds were very comfortable and the place was quiet. It is walking distance to quick serve restaurants, coffee shop, and gas stations. We loved the convenience of the location to get back on the road quickly. There is a small pool but we didn't use it. Call ahead to get a room that is okay for pets. Even though the room we had was pet designated, it smelled and looked just as clean as the rest of the hotel. Enjoy your stay!

"Great Value Close to Yellowstone National Park"
Mirvat T, 27 Juillet 2016

Excellent value and clean rooms in a quiet setting. Perfect location for quick access to Yellowstone National Park and Cody Wyoming. McDonalds next door open 24 hour shift. Motel staff very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Bed super comfortable.

"Quiet , Comfortable"
tad s, 24 Juillet 2016

Spent a night here in july . Reasonably priced . Clean Comfortable and suprised that it was quiet . While unloading luggage we heard numerous train horns blasting and were worried it would keep us up all night. Needless to say we did not hear anything all night . I would not hesitate to return here again

"best western/yellowstone"
Kathryn S, 05 Juillet 2016

Very nice hotel. Further from Yellowstone than anticipated. Service and facility very good. Clean, comfortable, food average. Staff friendly. Area very beautiful, lot of history. Can,t think of anything more to say. Review shouldn't have to be so long.

"Very nice place."
beachandskifam, 04 Juillet 2016

This location is centrally located and the staff are very friendly. We stayed over one night during a recent vacation across country. The rate was affordable and they offer breakfast included in the rate.

"Gateway to the Beartooth Highway"
YellowstoneBound1948, 20 Juin 2016

Okay, once you have decided you are not going to stay in Red Lodge, back up 60 miles and stay here. It's west of Billings, and in the perfect location for assaulting the Beartooth. It's a popular motel, so book well in advance. As far as the property goes, the rooms are nice, the breakfast is good, and the staff is courteous. The parking is easy, and the Wi-Fi is strong. There are plenty of nearby stores, restaurants, service stations. It's a great place to stay .

"Overpriced"
ColoradoM0m, 19 Juin 2016

Requested first floor room by the exit for our dog, but pets are restricted to the third floor. Our room was as far from the side exit as one could get, which was tough on my arthritic dog. Check in was a bit of a fiasco, not necessarily due to the staff member but the unorganized group in front of me. Breakfast selection was good and the room was clean. Mattresses/pillows were just okay, and the fan unit turned off and on all night, so we didn't get the best night's sleep. The pool policy is 24/7, and although we did not take advantage of it (it was crowded with aforementioned group until late), it's worth a mention.

"Good stay"
Tammy S, 14 Juin 2016

The room was clean, and up to date. For a family of four it was just a little tight. There didn't seem to be a good place to put things that were out of the way. After staying at Best Western plus it was just a step down. There were no good places to plug anything in. These are all just petty problems. The room overall was very nice. The breakfast was fantastic as well!

"Nice rooms/bad breakfast "
Janet B, 11 Juin 2016

Stayed here with another couple. We were happy to see the pool area was open 24 hrs/7 days a week. HOWEVER, the hot tub had things floating in it, the tile around hot tub and pool needs to be replaced. The jets in the hot tub were more like air bubbles instead of jets. The towels on the pool area were so small they may have dried my 2 year old grandson. The breakfast area was very small, not big enough for too many guest to eat at the same time. The eggs were inedible, tasted and texture of powdered eggs! Pancakes and sausage were good.

"Staff great hotel not worth the money"
Steve F, 09 Juin 2016

I am at hotels over 100 nights a year, the hotel staff very good. Pillows not good, noise next to trains very loud in the early AM. Doors slam hard and shake the rooms next to you. The hotel nightly rate is higher than it should be.

"Just OK"
Wysnowbird, 20 Mai 2016

We usually stay in Billings when we go to Montana, but because we were headed to Powell we thought we would try the BW in Laurel. The place overall was just average. The upgrade we received was adequate but not anything special. Furniture was not clean. Bed was hard. AC was noisy. I am usually grateful for any and all breakfast that is offered at a hotel but this was not very good. Some kind of artificial scrambled crumbled eggs. Sausage I think was Microwaved, and the biscuits and gravy was just ok. Might have been not such a bad experience if the breakfast room was not being patronized by workers in filthy clothes that smelled so bad the odor lingered after they left the room. I will stay in Billings next time. Not a bad place, just not what we like. We have nothing against the working man, for sure, but we don't like to stay where work crews are staying.

"Excellent place to stay"
Beverly P, 20 Mai 2016

Upon arrival I was welcomed like an old friend. I asked for a nice family-styled place to eat and the Beartooth Grill was suggested. Wonderful place to eat. My room was just wonderful. I liked the fact that there was a phone on the wall in the handicapped equipped bathroom. It gave a sense of security in case it would be needed. I hope it never needs to be used but what a sense of security! Room and staff were very friendly, helpful, and kind. If I am ever in need of a night to stay in the Laurel area I definitely will stay at the Best Western Yellowstone Crossing.

"Excellent Service"
Mel S, 03 Mai 2016

We stayed at the Best Western at Yellowstone Crossing and were upgraded to a suite. We enjoyed the accomodations which included a pool and jacuzzi, the best part was the pool had changing rooms and a shower.

"Month long stay +"
Cutnshotbiker, 25 Avril 2016

Nice and convenient for me and my coworkers. Breakfast is so so, about 3 days is all I can handle of it. But the coffee is good and hot. Rooms are clean but the beds and pillows could do for replacement. Wifi is ok, tv has plenty of channels, staff is friendly especially the breakfast attendant. Unless you have bad knees or lots of luggage use the stairs, elevator is slow and clunky and didn't care to ride in it. Pool area with hot tub is nice too

"A Pleasant Surprise!"
artdockris, 10 Avril 2016

I was pleased to find this small hotel clean, well maintained, and all amenities as advertised. The indoor pool was small but heated and clean. The breakfast was somewhat limited but adequate and of typical Best Western quality. The staff were pleasant and efficient.

"GREAT stay!!"
mnlakesgirl, 23 Mars 2016

We spent two nights here and we WILL stay again!!! This seemed like a newer hotel and was nicely kept up! Our room was clean and very comfortable! Beds were great and so were the pillows. We had a fridge in our room and that was very handy. The pool was fine- the whirlpool jets didn't seem to be very strong, but we used it anyway, The breakfast each morning was quite good for a hotel breakfast! There were several choices including biscuits and gravy (which I recommend!), pastries, breads, eggs, sausages, cereal, juice, coffee. There was a nice area to eat your breakfast. There was also popcorn in the later afternoons/evenings. Close to a CVS pharmacy and Walmart store for anything you may need. Very reasonably priced!!

"4 nights away from home"
GBishome, 20 Mars 2016

on a recent visit to the Billings area, to visit family - we were again accompanied by our dog - so we checked out the hotels in the area - and settled again on the BW Yellowstone Crossing. It is convenient, clean [and the Bedbug review gave it a good rating] and accepted our dog [for a small extra fee]. Staff were great, room was good and breakfasts were satisfying... All in all, we enjoyed our stay - and would return.

"Food"
Gary P, 06 Mars 2016

Same item every day. Link sausage and I believe they were supposed to switch. The sausage gravey was gook. No begals. Buns cold. Milk warm. They only had a bowl of peaches. Pool are was nice the sauna could be about 10 degrees hotter.

"Recommend "
Angie C, 19 Février 2016

We booked 3 rooms , very comfortable, clean, continental breakfast was good. We spent time in the pool and hot tub. Beds were comfortable, and for long visits they have laundry facilities. This is our second stay and recommend to all for a great stay and reasonable priced.

"Lovely Little Hotel in Laurel"
Darren B, 16 Février 2016

We stayed at the Best Western Yellowstone Crossing a few times. Our latest stay was this weekend. The hotel is located in Laurel just a few minutes out of Billings Montana. It is a nice western themed hotel. The rooms are decent. They have a good sized mini fridge in the room. It had good water pressure in the shower. They have shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers right in the shower. That was a nice change in stead of the little bottles. They have a nice pool and hot tub area. There is an arcade for kids. Breakfast is served from 5-10 a.m. It has a good breakfast. With the usual cold and hot cereal, toast, muffins, fruit etc. They had real sausage and biscuits and gravy. With a good selection of juices and hot teas as well. They have fresh popcorn in the lobby every night. There is no side door to get into the property. So remember to either go in the main front door. Or the one located in the very back.

"Great value, nice alternative to expensive Billings"
Bethie1972, 14 Février 2016

This was a nice surprise 20 short minutes from Billings, and at least $50 less per night than comparable hotels there. It was a clean hotel, spacious and comfortable for our family of four, with a nice pool for the kids. We arrived around 7 pm, and were happy to find several quick-serve dining options next door and across the street. We had the queen suite, which consisted of a pull-out couch with TV in the entry area, a bathroom with sinks between, and the bed and another TV by the window. Enough space for everyone to spread out, with microwave and fridge. Breakfast was adequate with cereals, hot options (biscuits/gravy when we were there), pastries, fruits and excellent coffee! We were a little disappointed there were no third-floor rooms available as we'd requested in our reservation, as first floor was a little noisy (little children above us must have been playing tag). Also, bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper-- the trains pass through all night long. After all, it is the home of the Laurel Locomotives! Overall this was a good hotel for the money and we will stay again when coming to visit family in Billings.

"It's a Best Western"
Sandshee, 23 Janvier 2016

Locate centers in Laurel, only stayed here because of price. But we ended up leaving and going to stay at a Hampton Inn in Billings. On check in staff was a little rude when I asked about online prices. But oh well, I booked online anyhow and it went through immediately unlike the hours she told me it could take. Beds were hard, pillows were lumpy and the tore open used condom wrapper on found on the floor after tucking my children in bed was slightly disgusting. Prob won't be staying there again.

"Traveling with pets"
Shawnna C, 11 Janvier 2016

If you are traveling with a pet, the only kind of room that is available is a room with two queen beds, I wish I would have known before booking. Breakfast was ok, the French toast was over done and the sausage was burnt, the fresh fruit was delicious and was really fresh.

"Very comfortable and clean"
Su926, 31 Décembre 2015

The room was clean and comfortable and nicely appointed. Each bed had plenty of comfortable pillows. Hotel is easy to reach from the interstate. The breakfast is average - biscuits and gravy, french toast, assortment of cereals. They provide complimentary tea and coffee all day/evening and have free popcorn in the lobby. It was nice to grab a fresh cup of coffee and relax in the dining area after we arrived. The hotel was quiet, pet friendly, and reasonably priced. They have a nice, small indoor swimming pool that we used on a stop-over several years ago but did not on this trip. The hotel personnel were all very pleasant.

"BAD WEATHER TURNED OUT GOOD"
kamak53, 16 Décembre 2015

The weather was horrendous and we were forced to stay in the Billings area over night. I checked with the Best Western hotels in Billing and was treated very rudely by their desk staff so called the Best Western in Laurel and was treat great. And the rate was 40 less that Billings. When we got there the staff was great, the hotel was beautiful and the rooms very comfortable. The breakfast the next morning had a lot of variety and was good.

great quiet stay, would recommend to anybody, would stay again in a heartbeat, a short drive to billings, one of the better places the wife and I have stayed at in a long time, lots of things to do/eat within walking distance.

"Great experience"
abarber, 10 Décembre 2015

Really fantastic budget experience - clean hotel, friendly staff, great breakfast, wonderful indoor pool, pet friendly. My only note would be, that I was confused by the Yellowstone name, and surprised to find the hotel was in an area of strip malls down the street from some kind of refinery/industrial park. Laurel is like the Newark of Montana.

"Hidden Gem"
Robert M, 08 Décembre 2015

I was totally surprised to find this hidden gem in Laurel, MT! The facility was of relatively recent construction as compared to many similar hotels out west so it was in excellent condition. The place was spotless and the staff were wonderful. The room had good access to high speed internet - quite unusual in my experience with hotels. There was a fair array of items in the free breakfast array and I especially liked the early opening of the breakfast line!

"Excellent Facility"
moemamoe, 01 Décembre 2015

This facility is pet friendly which is a top priority for us The facility is clean, the staff is professional and friendly. The location is easy access to I-90, shopping and restaurants. We stay at this facility whenever visiting family and friends in the Billings/Laurel area.

"Vacation"
rodrigl6, 28 Octobre 2015

I was highly impressed with my stay. It was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great and the staff were very courteous. I will definitely be back. There is an inside pool and jacuzzi. The beds were very comfortable and very good wifi connection.

"Great atmosphere and wonderful property"
Mary J, 25 Octobre 2015

You can just feel the love when you walk in the door, they not only care about the guest but the property as well. Decorated for Halloween, I noticed that rooms were very well kept up as is the lobby and the eating area. The staff was exceptional and I would highly recommend this property to everyone.

"better than expected"
Superbus2013, 18 Octobre 2015

We only planned a night after a long drive on our way to Yellowstone in Billings but this stay was better than expected, thanks also to the receptionist who was extremely helpful and friendly; so nice when you are tired; the rooms were comfortable and clean, spacious and contained all you need! Highly recommended in this area.

"Diamond in the Rough"
ilaparnell, 14 Octobre 2015

I booked this BW while staying at a BW in Cheyenne WY. The BW in Billings was full, this was a great option. Well maintained motel, with a lovely, inviting, rustic lounge. The young woman who checked me in, believe her name was Kayla, was so capable and efficient! There were a lot of people staying that night, but she seemed to take it all in stride, with a smile. The breakfast was the usual BW fare, could be more imaginative, perhaps someone in the organization could address this issue? Laurel is a train coupling town, no end to the trains on the side tracks and all. I slept fine, but have learned on these road trips, to bring a white noise machine with me, just in case.

"Charming"
Nina P, 11 Octobre 2015

This hotel was such a surprise! The décor I felt like I was in a Ski Lodge. The breakfast area had nice Fall floral arrangements on the tables. The Hostess was very nice and the food was great. You could tell the Staff cared about their guests!

"The room lacked nothing - filled with extras!"
Jeff E, 10 Octobre 2015

I was surprised at how everything was supplied and thought of. This hotel had everything all in place for a relaxing time. No calls down to the front desk for more soap or towels - they anticipated what and where you would need something. The Jacuzzi was all set with towels and shampoo to fill it with bubbles if you wish! The breakfast items were full and lots of choices. Internet was easy to set up and use.

"Got earplugs?"
Jim80686, 02 Octobre 2015

This property is very clean, the rooms look nice, and the staff is quite friendly. However, it is located behind some industrial plant that makes a whiny noise - all night! It sounds like a wood chipper. (Indeed, I looked the next day and the plant makes building studs. Maybe its the waste getting ground up.) The breakfast was OK, but nothing exciting. Basically, it is a nice place - just bring your earplugs if you stay there.

"Nice."
colias_eurytheme, 26 Septembre 2015

Clean and comfortable with a nice shower and stocked toiletries. It's not an area I'd be comfortable walking through at night but parking area felt safe. There is a nice grassy pet relief area. Overall a good stay. Note- we almost didn't get a room because they were booked, and although I requested a pet room when I reserved a month before, the front desk didn't have that information and almost put us in a second floor room, and dogs are only allowed on the third floor. You may want to call and confirm online bookings as information seems to get lost.

"Good Hotel."
John S, 25 Septembre 2015

Hotel is located just off I-90 and was very convenient to access. Hotel was clean and quiet, despite a number of children staying there. Breakfast was good, with the exception of the scrambled eggs, which were rather dry. Staff was very helpful with getting connected to the internet.

"Visiting Yellowstone"
Search Beyond A, 22 Septembre 2015

This hotel was great! All the staff were so friendly, helpful, and knowledgable. We were in the area to visit Yellowstone so the only thing I wish is that this hotel was closer to the park! The rooms were clean and comfortable as were the public areas. Breakfast was great. The pool and hot tub area was well kept. Not one bad thing to say about this place!

"Great Stay. Great Price."
travelinggrandmaWy, 21 Septembre 2015

Great hotel find in a small town. Best Western lives up to it's reputation with this hotel. Rooms are clean, nice and new. Beds are comfortable and rooms are quiet. There wasn't a fridge or microwave in the room, just a coffee maker with supplies. But the pool and hot tub make up for that. Plus they have a wonderful continental breakfast with two comfortable rooms in which too eat. Eggs, sausage, dry cereal, yogurt and lots of fruit and great coffee greet you in the morning and goes until 10. Friendly staff was helpful in answering questions about the town. By pass more expensive hotels in Billings and stay here. It was fabulous!
