Stayed here 14/10 - 15/10 2025 Nice airport hotel. Stayed here several times, always just as nice. Staff who have the guest at heart. There is a restaurant, the food is good and at reasonable prices. The environment inside the foyer feels inviting, I like to sit here and work. Pros: 200 meters from the terminal. Transfer 24/7 if desired. Early bird breakfast. Good breakfast with a wide selection. Environment. Restaurant. Large airy rooms. Clean and fresh. Quiet rooms. 7 bed hardness (see below*). 7 value for money (see below**) Cons: Nothing I can think of. *(Sinks through 0 - Average 5 - lies on top of the mattress 10) **(Throws money down the drain 0 - Break Even 5 - Highest profit 10).

Boring. Very boring. Reception area depressive. Plain room. A bit dusty due to carpet and other textiles. Hotel corridors a nightmare, hard to find the way, narrow and winding. However, the bathroom was very, very fresh, new and nice. As there are only two hotels on the airport itself there's not much to choose from......and you could open the windows which is nice. Noisy from aircrafts landing and take off around the clock.

Airport hotels are not very special normally - and so it is also here. Very close to the arrival and departure hall - you can walk - but there is also a free shuttle bus. Reception was OK - but slow. Rooms are small, but fine, and bathrooms too. They tried tease me by changing the content of the two dispensers in the shower area - but I discovered it despite running water in your eyes :) Sleep comfort fine - and no noise. Prices are OK, but not low.

The room was modern and clean. Loved the furnishing. Breakfast was fantastic. Staff were amazing, helpful and welcoming. Room was in a very quiet area so had a great nights sleep. Great shuttle bus to airport but the hotel is so close that the walk is very pleasent

Very convenient hotel by Gothenburg Landvetter hotel. Not overly priced, but then again I stayed in March, so not sure whether prices go up in key holiday periods like high summer. Room was small, but this gave it a cosy feel. Breakfast was ok, nothing special. Usual buffet. The bar in the evening was compliant, but alcohol was expensive. There is also an on demand shuttle bus service that will take you down to / pick you up from the airport terminal - handy if you have luggage with you. Just one thing to be weary of - if you are a Best Western Rewards member, you either get a choice of points or vouchers at check in. If you choose the vouchers, be aware that you cannot use these on alcohol at the bar unless you are having food at the same time. I was not told this at check in, so wish now that I had taken the points instead.

Landvetter airport hotel - the original First and foremost the experienced travelers that make up a fluctuating percentage of people in movement these day are, believe or not discriminating. Time and tides and markets change as do the people that chose to follow them. What does not change is all the time in between travel and business. Often alone and often condemned to the tediousness of dining alone with indifferent or worse service and accommodation. All of this needs to be e posed because there is help out there in the form of dedicated hotels with caring compassionate staff that would like you to be a happy guest. Which brings us to the Landvetter airport hotel. Not, I hasten to add the Scandic Airport hotel which is an altogether different fish pie and one of the few hotels I have stayed at that has rooms with no windows and other things you would not thank me for mentioning. So back to the Landvetter hotel situated on a knoll overlooking the airport and somehow able to attract staff willing to go the extra mile and customers willing to look beyond the surface and make the difference between the desire to please and the stone cold professionalism to bring it on home. Ok this is not a new build, it almost dates back to the early days when planes had propellers. It has this mid-century feel that is undeniable and helped by the present owner's interest in the forties and fifties style furnishings that have woven themselves into the character of the hotel. Yes the rooms are small and no there is no A/C but this is a transients hotel. The hotel has had several updates to the interior and the rooms are kept sparkling clean. Everyone walking through the door is on their way somewhere else after one or at best two nights. So the staff have to be on their toes to meet travellers fresh off a 30 hour flight with the same helpful attitude and patience as they would have for a quick one day business tripper from europe. Day or night. And somehow they manage. From the cheery shuttle bus guy to the exceptional reception staff with perhaps a visit to a memorable Swedish smörgåsbord to begin the day or a solid dinner from a competently prepared menu full of fresh local produce to finish it off. Sounds impossible but they somehow make it work. In other words this hotel is a great complement to a business trip not a forgettable incident on one.

Somewhat surprised how good this hotel was for an airport hotel. My expectations are generally quite low, but this was really good! Great welcome from the reception team in the stylish area. Very comfortable room with water and coffee available. Nice powerful shower with good toiletries and very quiet and peaceful throughout the night. The breakfast choice and standard was excellent with the breakfast service staff also very polite, personable and very helpful. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again. I made the mistake of relying on google maps rather than asking how to access the hotel from the arrivals terminal. This ended up taking me the wrong way and having to negotiate a slippery grass bank and road. The following morning I realised how close, safe and easy it is to walk to from the airport building.
