Excellent, professional, caring service. “B” kept breakfast stocked; very helpful. Gregory and Rene', front desk and housekeeping made our stay so awesome. The cleanliness, comfort of rooms, and the food and beverages at breakfast great!
Roaches! I woke up to a bathroom full of large roaches at around 3 am. I asked for help from the night staff. The night staff said "no" and was not helpful. After telling me I would need to sit in my car or the lobby to wait for help from the morning staff when they arrived, she became abusive (shock face emoji!). She told me she "didn't know when the morning staff would be in."Which I thought was odd. She later decided to go up to "help." The roaches in the bathroom had moved in that 3 hour window of time that I was sitting in my car and the lobby waiting. My guess is they had likely moved into the room and were on the dark carpet. Night staff didn't bother to look in the room, so I grabbed my belongings and left early - unable to get ready for the day in my room. I am a member of Best Western Rewards and have stayed several times in 300$ plus per night hotels by Best Western on the Gulf Coast in Florida. I called customer service about this incident but was told nothing could be done. Well, all I can say is PEST CONTROL is needed and it doesn't seem to be a priority for this Fort Worth location. Super gross - especially for the price I paid.
Roaches, Room 209. This is the 2nd time within the month of staying in a Best Western that I have encountered roaches. The other location was in Fort Worth North. And they didn't care to call back or answer my email or even consider at least give me a partial refund. Giving me points don't matter if every freaking hotel has roaches. I have lost faith in Best Western, I gave them a 2nd chance and here I am wide awake in a different room because I have no other options without a vehicle as well. I won't be sleeping and I'm tired AF!! Second room was hot, refrigerator had broken leg, so unprofessional. But they take our money and point without a care in the world, something needs to be done about this. Fumigate for prevention!! Remove carpets, caulk your bases throughout the whole hotel. What a disservice to customers!!! What about our bottom line, I'm running a business and I can't rely on hotels and other services to do the right and legit thing by providing quality service!!
I stayed in the Best Western in Lake Worth, Texas. The area has lots of everything, from restaurants, sites, all businesses needed and in close proximity. The rooms are clean. The service is friendly, and extremely accommodating. The continental breakfast is good. The pool is immaculate! Very clean and the water is perfectly balanced. I stayed in the Best Western, same location, 3 times. All 3 time have been good, better and best! There are newer hotels in the area, but they are not as friendly Their atmosphere is dull. I pray that the Best Western in Lake Worth stay proficient in the future, for I would have a hard time finding another hotel that could beat it!
This hotel is very nice. They staff were friendly, and the room was clean and had a good smell. The only major issue was that the soap dispensers in our shower were not working and we were unable to get shampoo during our stay.
they call before check in to see if you are going to show up. And call you before check out to remind you when to leave.
This is my 1st stay at this location for Business trip and it's very clean and well maintained. Definitely come back stay again !!!
We've tried other hotels in Lake Worth, but always come back to this one. Very clean and well maintained. Owner is on the property daily and broken things are fixed promptly (nothing broken in our room this stay). Standard but good breakfast.
The gentleman at the front desk was very kind, thoughtful, and quick to check us in. He placed us in a room that was away from noise (elevator, crying kids, etc.) He was also very clear with helpful information during our stay. The AC was cold, bed and linens were comfy, and water pressure was great. We just needed a place to stay overnight after a big celebration and this was perfectly located as well as clean and comfortable. I would stay here again when in this area visiting family and friends.
New and modern property with first class amenities and in an easily accessible location surrounded by a wide variety of restaurants and other venues many of which are within walking distance. You'll sleep comfortably and quietly at any hour of the day. Overall, a great place to stay.
Extremely clean, comfortable spaces and friendly, helpful, staff make this hotel our favorite place to stay. We don't need a pool or hot tub so the absence of those is actually a plus for us. Breakfast offerings include hot eggs, bacon or sausage and Texas shaped waffles, along with all the other usual options. 24 hour access to a hot drink machine offering various coffee options, as well as hot chocolate and hot water for tea is something we appreciated. Coffee marker and fridge in room, as well as a hair dryer and 6 or more charging ports were available.
The hotel smelled awful only reason we stayed was because of wrestling tournament. I wanted to take my grandson to another hotel but I wasn't allowed to. It looked old and smelled. It was my first and last experience at a BEST WESTERN…
Customer service was excellent. Friendly. Smiley faces. Helpful. Understanding and patience. Thanks to you all, we had a great night at our Company Christmas Party. You provided our staff a safe place after a night of partying. Ms. Rene, Mr. Gregory, and Mr. Yash you guys rock! Thank you!
The staff is so welcoming, friendly and helpful! They go above and beyond to ensure your welcome! Family has been coming to this location for years and we are keeping the tradition with my own children. ♥️♥️♥️
Charged WAY more than they should've. $300 for 1 night??? They took all of our stuff out of our room when we went away for the day without giving us any time to get back and remove it ourselves. Beds are very uncomfortable, don't recommend.
We booked a 2 queens room and were very satisfied with the room. It was spacious, clean and had all the aminities we needed. Very comfy beds, we had a good night sleep. They serve a good breakfast which enough choices to start your day. And the staff is very friendly and will help you when needed. This was our 3rd stay and we would definitely stay here again.
I was very pleased and somewhat surprised at the cleanliness and overall condition of the hotel and my room. The front desk personnel were very friendly and efficient. The breakfast was your standard free breakfast fare, but the food was fresh and warm. The dining area was very clean and pleasant.
We visited the area to get away for a few days and were not disappointed. Everything we needed was right there! The hotel was extremely clean and the staff were very friendly. The beds are very comfortable as well as the cleanliness. We got in late on Friday and were able to walk to Cotton Patch to eat. Shopping centers and grocery stores were just across the street as well. We enjoyed the coffee and amenities of the hotel. I would absolutely suggest this hotel to friends and family!
From the efficiency, personal grooming, knack for customer service and cleanliness this hotel ranks at the top of the list. A spotlessly clean compact area hosted the breakfast included in the stay. A variety of food choices, drinks and condiments were tastefully displayed, refreshed and kept clean. The elevators, floors, our room...everything was clean & inviting. Staff at all levels were friendly, well groomed, greeted their guest & were always ready to accommodate any request.
I booked at the last minute and was treated marvelously. The manager and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. I was allowed to view the room prior to booking, without any issues or negative attitude. The housekeeping staff were as attentive as I needed without being obtrusive. As I was alone and juggling a major move, I lost my key multiple times and never once received a sideways glance or negative comment. The pool and gym were always in good condition and I used them often. The breakfast was remarkably tasty and fresh each day. As a seasoned traveler, I can say unequivocally that The BWLW was really a 5-star hotel experience; a hidden gem!!
Very nice hotel. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable. The pool was nice and kept clean. Breakfast was good and the dining area was always clean. Would recommend a stay if your in the Lake Worth area.
Front desk service was friendly, everything was very clean and in perfect working order, the bed was comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was better than average and the hotel location was an easy 10 drive to Ft Worth's Historic Stockyards. I will definitely stay in this hotel again if I find myself back in the area!!
Ownership was very rude. They were greedy. They took my money and then kicked me out of the hotel because I parked my truck in their parking lot in the exact space they approved and said was a perfect place for me to park. They are very unprofessional rude and I will never stay there again. There are many other hotels in that area I recommend any one of them other than this one. Run away from this place as fast as you can.
The location was great since we were mostly there to see the famous Stockyards, although we drove to see many other sites. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel smelled clean, and it was very relaxing. It was affordable, convenient to several restaurants, a movie theater and grocery store. We enjoyed the pool 2 days in spite of unheated water. We are recently retired, and this short Sunday thru Thursday trip was very pleasant at this hotel. Overall, the area was safe, and it helped us feel more relaxed at the hotel. Great trip......try it!
We stayed 17 nights and the Staff was Awesome, we had a group of 23 people staying here. They even adjusted the breakfast earlier so we could eat before going to work. On super bowl Sunday they bought an new a 50 inch T.V and brought into the conference room so we could enjoy the day as a unit and even loaned us 3 cooler for our drinks. they have gone above and beyond any hotel the I have stayed in. I highly recommend this hotel. We maybe coming back in Aug and this will be my choice if I have anything to say about it. The location is great, there is so many restraints around here that it is all walking distance.
We had the best experience, room was veryyy clean and nice. Best TV! Everyone was very nice and sweet. The front guy had even chased us down in the parking lot to bring back something we had found in the room thinking it was ours resting to bring it back to us. Very kind and great hotel. 10/10!!!
Smaller hotel with great amenities and friendly staff. Conveniently and centrally located by freeways so we were able to quickly get to the various districts within the cities. Front desk staff made this a great trip!!
Cleanliness and amenities were on point. Staff takes pride in there jobs was apparent. Super friendly and helpful. Travel35 to 45 mph takes less than 20 minutes to downtown Fort Worth and stockyards. Uber was on $15
This hotel and staff was above my expectations! Clean rooms, fresh linens and towels daily as well as the coffee supplies refilled daily! Breakfast being provided was an extra plus! Staff was friendly and on top of everything.
Very clean Hotel. The Personal was very friendly-the Manager was always on working- cleaning Pool oder another Works. Rooms great and clean, Very good Starting Point for visiting Fort Worth or Dallas. Breakfast Room small but OK.
Excellence in all categories! Family oriented BW Team created a beautiful, clean, safe, very spacious comfortable stay. Loved the large hot breakfast variety, and yogurt machine. Lots of good places to eat within walking distance. Easy access to tourist sites and the best highways with minimal traffic. We felt so at home, did not want to leave; we will return to this BW Plus.
Staff was super accommodating and sweet, especially when our toddler fell ill and we needed tons of extra towels in our room. They recognized us and always offered a smile the entire weekend. Lake Worth is OK (we were there for a fishing tournament) and it was so hot we stayed inside all day - but for what it was, 100% would recommend
Hotel is in a very good spot. Restaurants and shopping are close by. AC could use some work so the room can be more comfortable temperature wise.Room was very spacious, we are a family of 5. Beds were comfortable.
My wife and I were traveling to Texas to help my brother in the hospital. During our travel we searched via our phone and found Best Western Plus Lake Worth. We called and talked to the staff about trying to get to ft. Worth that night. Things changed and we were not going to stay in Lake Worth. During our call to the location we were both under the impression that you could cancel a reservation if you call before 5:00. We determined we were not going to Lake Worth so we called at 4:40 when the lady at the desk informed us we had to cancell earlier and we will be billed. The next day we saw a bill for $162.xx. We called that day to question because we felt we were informed of a different policy. The call never seemed to go beyond the front desk. We asked for the manager to call us back and never did. I called a few times during the hours he was suppose to be onsite but they kept telling me he wasn't there. I then called customer care and they informed me they talked to him and he declined to give us our money back. It is unfortunate that a manager will not take calls from customers. I have never written a review before but this one frustrated me. I am not one who yells or gets upset with people especially over the phone and cannot understand how miss communication cannot be rectified. I will definetly remember the service we recieved and make a decision to look past Best Western. I would think this isn't all Best Westerns but it definetely makes me think about our future travels.
The staff is friendly and on top of things. Our room was clean, spacious. Two queen beds in our room were very comfortable. Bathroom clean, and supplied with travel amenities. Plentiful breakfast items, and breakfast area kept clean. I wouldn't hesitate staying here again in the future.
I stay here everytime I come to town. The staff is always a pleasure to deal with. There are several restaurants and shopping within walking distance. I feel safe leaving my car parked in the lot and in the summer, having my family at the pool. We will see you soon
The hotel is new and incredibly clean! Very comfortable beds and great water pressure in the shower. The staff is extremely friendly! Great location near the Ft Worth Stockyards, AT&T Stadium, DFW & Dallas Love Field. Highly recommend!
Great Hotel centrally located very quiet environment close to shopping and dining. Although I only eat cold cereal for breakfast breakfast was great it would have been nice to have a bit more fresh fruit.
The hotel was very clean, service was amazing, and all the employees were so helpful and go way out of their way for you! Will always stay here when visiting my daughter and grandkids! Breakfast was really good and fresh!
I ways stay at this Best Western! Great service and very close to stores and the expressway! Check in was fast and friendly. Well lit parking area. Restaurants within walking distance. ATM across the street!
I love everything about BW hotels. The beds and pillows, rooms are always clean. Plenty of towels in bathroom, and lots of breakfast options. Clean floors, clean linens, tv channels, and microwave and fridge.
We spent 4 nights at this hotel. The property is clean and well-maintained. The front desk staff members were all very friendly during our stay. A hot breakfast was unable to be served because of COVID, but a grab-and-go option was available. There were plenty of prepare-your-own food choices each morning, including breakfast sandwiches, hard boiled eggs, waffles, cereal, yogurt, bagels, juice, and coffee. We will definitely stay here again, as it was a great value.
Staff was friendly, rooms comfortable only draw back was the dang mice that somehow got up on the desk in the room and chewed thru the unopened snacks we had, and scared the hell out of my wife when it ran across the room, i told the clerk at the front desk and he said sorry.....I again told them when checking out and again all they said was sorry I will not stay there again nor any other Best Western
I had a great 2 weeks stay. The beds were very comfortable and I enjoyed the suite stay. The staff and customers were all very nice. I enjoyed the hotel pool, fitness, room, and breakfast. Thank you for making my daughter and I comfortable and safe.
The stay at the Best Western Lake Worth was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful we arrived early and they let us check in. The rooms were clean and lively. Truly enjoyable. Will return next time we visit family.
This trip was for a doctors appointment and back to shook clothes shopping. The staff has always been great. We have stayed her multiple times in the past and they have always taken care of us. Everyone has gone above and beyond what I expect.
The staff was super friendly and helpful. The facility was clean and comfortable. The room has a refrigerator and microwave. The large room had a living area where we were able to enjoy a meal. It is a great location with lots of restaurants and shopping close by. I will definitely stay here again.
Won't stay here again unless my regular places are booked. Parking lot could use more than one entrance. The no smoking policy needs to be enforced - we could smell burning weed\\marijuana in the 2nd floor hallway.
Stay was not very comfortable. The rooms were clean and the staff was not friendly. Breakfast was fair. Only had one luggage rack used to load/unload. My next trip will not be staying at any Best Western Plus.
Recently stayed here for business mid April The entire experience from the staff exceeded my expectations. Quick check-in, staff was warm and friendly, lobby area looked great and the rooms were CLEAN. If you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel in Ft. Worth without all the bells and whistles then BWP Lake Worth should be on your short list. What made my experience even better is that all the staff greeted me each and everytime they saw me. Highy Recommend
I've been a Best Western rewards member for several years. This was the nicest one out of many. Very clean, nice furnishings, great location close to many services. I was upgraded to a suite w/o even asking.
The staff set up our crib and had made out the couch with bedding before we checked in. Other hotels could learn from this type of hospitality. This is why we will return to this Best Western in the future.
We always stay here when we come to visits our children and grandchildren. We always have a wonderful experience--friendly staff, clean and peaceful. Value is average. I would highly recommend eating at Ginger Browns for breakfast located across the street past Albertsons Grocery store.
Bed was super comfortable and the room was clean. Observed staff not wearing masks while engaging guests. After checking in process was told there was painting on our floor and that there could be some noise.
If you're looking to stay anywhere near Lake Worth, this is no question, the best place you can stay at. Staff is great, breakfast is awesome, and within walking distance from many restaurants, grocery store, shops, etc. For the price, you won't beat this BW as an option.
Very nice hotel in a good location. Our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly. Check in and out very easy. Shopping and restaurants within walking distance. This is one of the nicest mid-range hotels we have stayed in. It rivals more expensive hotels, but still at a very good price. Will definitely stay here again.
Simple. Clean rooms. Good value. fast check in and check out. The hotel is located right off the highway and about a 5 min drive to many food choices, gas stations, or grocery stores. Great location. If you want a nice comfortable bed and location and not overpay this is your place.
The parking area was very small. There were lots of leaves that needed to be cleaned up. It was a windy day. The Staff was very friendly. The rooms were clean and smelled good. It was quiet, I was able to get the rest that I needed.
Very helpful folks. Hotel was clean and in great condition. Very quiet, never heard another guest or doors slam like a typical hotel stay. Perfect location with stores and a wide variety of restaurants within walking distance. This hotel went beyond my expectations!
Really enjoyed our stay always do never have a reason to complain will always go back no matter where I've traveled to and I've traveled a lot I will always pick a Best Western I live in Texas and I travel all around Texas and that's where I stay every time
Best Western Plus Lake Worth Inn & Suites is conveniently located near Restaurants, shopping centers and gas stations. The hotel itself is very nice with a great staff who were very helpful and polite. Also, I do love adding to my Reward Points with each stay. My favorite was the Cotton Patch Restaurant behind the hotel as their Fried Green Tomatoes & Avocado Ranch Dressing were delicious and an easy quick supper after a long day at work.
We have stayed at the property for several years when attending the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. It is easy to access, modertately priced and the people that work at this hotel are easy to get along with. It's like "home away from home".
We stayed at this hotel during the Forth Worth Stock Show. The staff was so nice and we were always greeted when we arrived for breakfast and when we returned to hotel at the end of long day. The hotel was clean and recently remodeled. There was plenty of parking and conveniently located to gas station, drugstore and plenty of restaurants. Drive to Dickies arena is about 15 minutes on the Jacksboro Highway and University Drive so you do not need to take the congested freeway.
Staff was always helpful and greeted you with smiling faces. Breakfast was excellent and hot with numerous choices. I especially liked the Texas shape waffles, nice touch. The food attendant was very helpful making sure food was hot and plentiful. She even took our plates when we finished.
Excellent value for the king suite. Our original non smoking room had obviously been smoked in, but the very nice staff got is in another room quickly. The rest of our stay was great. The property is in very good condition, and the manager and staff were very helpful and hospitable.
The staff at this Best Western was the greatest, they were very forward with their suggestions for food in the area and any other question that I wanted information for, they left no stone unturned when it came to professionalism
our accessible room had a bed at the correct height, a sink that was accessible and a wheel in shower that actually accommodated all me husbands needs. The only thing they need to fix is that the shower head needs to go on a slide so it can be lowered.
This was such a nice hotel. It was very clean and the rooms were nice and comfortable. The staff was so friendly and nice. The breakfast was fantastic and delicious. Miss Pat in the dining area served us so great! Special thanks to her. Loved meeting and speaking with her. She went over and above her job to make us feel welcome. We just recently retired and driving from NJ to California, so to come across wonderful people who just don't work at their jobs, but really and truly care how you feel and are comfortable, that, my friends, is what truly counts! God bless her! We would love to visit again!
Great hotel and clean rooms although the carpets need some shampooing or be completely removed. If you have allergies or asthma just the smell of the mildew or mold in carpets will not make it a pleasant stay. The mattress was too firm and not as comfortable as other Best Westerns. The breakfast is not that great. Egg has powdery flavor and bacon is so thin that it taste rubbery. Not the best breakfast but if those things don't bother you then this is a great hotel over all. I would definitely stay again.
I was working in the area and stayed here due to price. The property is clean and we'll kept. The entire staff is friendly and busy always doing something. We had an AC issue and they happily moved us to a new room. The pool was fun, bed comfortable and quiet. We will be back.
Was a business stay and the motel was nicely located to the work location and eating facilities. The motel was very clean and comfortable. The only issue was a lack of electrical and USB connections. The breakfast was.typical motel continental breakfast but the breakfast area was very small.
Very enjoyable hotel snuggled on a comer among several businesses. There is a Walgreens and Waffle House next door. The only thing that keeps this from getting five stars is the rooms are very humid. Feels like a hotel that has an indoor pool but it doesn't . Desperately needs humidifiers in the rooms. We had rooms 105- 109 and all had the same issue. Otherwise this was the perfect place for our family needs. Very clean, great breakfast with a wonderful attendant that was helpful. There is a small outdoor pool on this property. Nice place, wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!
This hotel is okay. The rooms are oversized which is great but the bathrooms are small. And, they do not enforce their no smoking policy and all the hotel reeked of cigarette smoke, including the room I stayed in. They even changed my room at first but it made no difference. This is a big deal for nonsmokers. The rooms need upgraded decor with new carpet, etc.
We have many friends and relatives in Fort Worth who live on the west side of downtown. This hotel is located close to to the highways that will give us easy access to where we want to go. Good restaurants are close by and also many other stores.
This hotel helped my husband and I when we did not have a home. We moved to Fort Worth, anticipating to close on our home but there was a 2 week delay. The owner, manager and staff made us feel that we already arrived home. The afternoon cookies were delicious!! They are very clean! Thank you for everything Lake Worth Best Western!! I highly recommend this hotel!!
Hadn't stayed in this area before. There is many, many restaurants and stores near by. Renee at the front desk was extremely helpful, courteous and professional. The pool was nice, a good size for a hotel, was outside, but warm from the sun. Breakfast are was kept very clean, food was hot. Had a dr appt in Fort Worth medical district and was pleasantly surprised how close this was and hot easy to get there.
This hotel was part of our trip from Los Angeles, CA to Dallas, TX (CA, AZ, NM and TX). We – 4 people – stayed here in 2 double rooms for 1 night only in June 2019. The hotel is a little bit tricky to find. From the beginning we liked this hotel. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The hotel and its spacious rooms are super clean. The outside swimming pool is fantastic. Check-out time is 12pm, so no rush. Breakfast is also great - and it was the only hotel during this trip where our table was cleaned by staff. All in all strongly recommended. And, most importantly, the Fort Worth Stockyards are only around 10 minutes away from here.
The cost for the room is a joke for it to smell so bad. It had a mildew smell (like siting water) from the hall all the way into the rooms. They moved us from 1 room to another an it was just as bad.!
The owner Nilesh and the counter person Brad were extremely friendly and hospitable and down-to-earth. And so so nice. They were very customer service oriented. I love them both. We stayed five nights and they were like family when we left. The rest of the hotel staff was very very nice too. Everything was clean can use some new fluffy or firmer pillows but that's about it. Also very professional person Nilesh and Brad.
This is a great location, convenient to dining, shopping and freeway! Very friendly employees. Nicely kept. Decent breakfast and pool. We enjoyed our stay. Room was clean, maids were accommodating. The two gentlemen at the front desk were very friendly and helpful.
We have stayed here 7 times in the past few months. The staff is always courteous, the place is always clean. I have never heard road or elevator noise. Breakfast is quite good for hotel breakfast. There are numerous restaurants, with choices within walking distance & a grocery store across the street. Folks have been out enjoying the pool. No complaints at all!
This is a great hotel for the price. We experienced no issues and the room was very clean. The staff was friendly. By driving a few miles; outside of Ft Worth, the traffic as minimal and there were plenty of options for eating and shopping in the area.
Good location. Close to many restaurants. Right off the highway. Easy in and out. Room smelled musky. Internet was very slow. It was difficult to work. Staff was excellent. Aretha was great. Couldn't help but smile when talking to her. Very helpful. Breakfast was good. Overall very good place to stay for the money.
My family and I stayed here, the staff was very courteous from the get go, when I had to call and tell them I would be a late arrival. We arrived to a very courteous gentlemen that made sure I had everything I needed, before we went to our room. He also made sure that I was not charged twice on my card as they had already charged before I arrived. He continued to go out of his way to make sure my family had gotten very thing we needed before we left the hotel.
Spacious rooms, adequately equipped. Noisy at night during my stay with party people coming back at 2am. Beds are comfortable enough. Breakfast is very limited, being cereals, waffles, ham or sausage, eggs and juices. Sometimes much of this is not out but they will help you out if you ask. (I've never seen bacon sliced this thin in my life before). Best Western Lake Worth is okay, nothing more than that. As with all Best Western hotels, single use plastic cutlery is unforgivable in these more enlightened times. Come on Best Western, get up to speed on this and show some environmental responsibility.
Nice facility with very good internet, decent breakfast and clean rooms. Location is a plus for Ft Worth area attractions. Staff were very polite and helpful. If in the area would consider staying there again.
The hotel was very nice and the was very helpful and friendly. The room was Nice and comfortable and big . The breakfast was great. There was complimentary coffee and tea at any time. The location was also great .restaurants and stores all around .
Very nice and clean hotel, people are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are very clean and are stocked very well, plenty of towels etc. The breakfast is good especially for the limited space however they make it work great
The front office staff are fully of apathy period jst there to collect a check customers don't matter; in fact if you seek service expect the treatment you are bothering them. Complete electric service shut down on night I was there the was stifling and no compensation was offered or granted. I had to go to my office and sleep on the couch as the room was useless. So if you want the poorest of customer service and outright theft for a nights stay use this hotel. Completely useless in every sense of a comfortable respectable place to lodge.
The rooms were clean and the staff very friendly. The hotel is conveniently located close to many restaurants and grocery stores. The only down side was a lack of USB ports; however, they said those have been ordered.
This is a good location if you are going to be visiting the Stockyards or the museums in Fort Worth. The hotel is also located in a nice area with lots of stores and shopping within 1 mile and many restaurants nearby. It is a fairly new property and both the public areas and the rooms are nice. Reasonable rates for this area. The only minor complaint I had was that the complimentary breakfast is a bit weak on offerings compared to other Best Westerns. I would stay here again.
Very friendly staff. Nice clean room. Served a great breakfast. There are very nice and convenient restaurants, some within walking distance. Only about 7 miles to the Will Roger's Equestrian Center. We will stay here again.
My family and I arrived late to this hotel, the night receptionist LORI, had a very bad attitude and gave me HELL, she said that my kids better not be loud in the room and if they were, she would kick us out without a refund. I asked to speak to the manager and LORI said good luck. worst hotel experience I ever had
Its a pretty good hotel especially for the price we paid Transit stop good variety of breakfast items to choose from comfy beds and pillows neat and clean well lit parking lot everything from restaurants ,gas station , movie hall sports bars and bus stop all walking distance even a bank. Will definately recommend
This is awesome hotel for the price its listed. Nice and clean rooms variety for breakfast items and well trained and courteous staff will definately recommend and come back. Managment is doing a fantastic job.
This BW hotel is top of the line! Very friendly and helpful staff, great location with food and entertainment nearby, and the rooms are top notch. Very clean, beds are awesome in comfort, and the decor of the room is much better than the average hotel; and all for a very low cost. I give this hotel a high rating and would recommend it to anybody!
We were impressed with the cleanliness of the room, friendliness of the staff and the quality of the breakfast. Our family reunion experienced was definitely enhanced by having a hotel nearby that provided a more than comfortable place to sleep and shower.
If you are looking for an excellent stay close to the Fort Worth Stockyards. This will be it. You will get a nice room with very comfortable beds to get a good night's sleep. The friendly staff will greet you and help you with your needs. In the morning you can start your day with a good breakfast providing you with enough choices.
Very clean and conveinient, Friendly staff. I would stay here again. Nice for parents of college students to go for a visit and affordable. Very quiet and well maintained. Decor fit the community well with all the oil field history and all.about the same as all Best Western we slept so sound we missed Breakfast but it looked clean.
Nice and clean room with comfortable beds - friendly and helpful staff, Very service minded. the pool is very undisturbed which was a big plus. the breakfast really good. Many shopping opportunities within walking distance. A little noise from the highway - we stayed in room 219.
I was visiting my cousin in Fort Worth, and this hotel was only 20 min away. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room and bed were comfortable and clean, and their breakfast had a number of voices including eggs and sausage.
The Best Western on Lake Worth in Ft Worth was a good night's stay for the money. Chris at front desk was very accommodating and went out to get my license plate number of the car. I had a first floor room and at 2:00 a.m., someone repeatedly knocked on my window. I called the front desk and the problem was taken care of.
We had an infested room and it was absolutely disgusting! Daughter woke up with bites EVERYWHERE! Got switched to a “clean room” and found them in there too! First room was on the floor level and second room was on the second level! The whole place must be infested!
The location was close to the Stockyards and the Will Rogers Arena. If you had a truck and trailer you could park across the street in a strip mall parking lot. Weight room and pool were nice. Breakfast was nothing special. The typical stuff for breakfast. But rooms are nice and quite.
One of the best experiences I've had on a trip. And I've been on many. Only hiccup was the overnight early morning employee gets a bit rude with my employees at breakfast over silly things like dirt on their work boots and a few other things like that, which first thing in the morning is not helpful. But she got nicer the longer we were there and ended up being fine. Would definitely stay here anytime I'm in town. But be careful at breakfast ??
We were part of a wedding block. The service was very nice, cheerful, and professional. The staff accommodated us well. The rooms were very clean and orderly. The breakfast provided was a bit scant, but adequate. The overall experience was a positive one.
Stayed here because the location was convenient to Azle. There are several restaurants, gas stations and drug stores. The rate was reasonable for the value. Rooms are super clean, but beds and pillows are uncomfortable. Staff is friendly. Breakfast is okay. Coffee is horrible, horrible, horrible!
Excellent location. Next to so many shops, restaurants, movie theater. Staff was friendly & professional. Hotel was very comfortable & we always enjoy the complimentary breakfast. We will stay here again when we visit the area.
good stay , it is small but in a very great location i love it and its extremely comfortable. i recommend anyone to stay in this location specially if you just need to rest for 1 night. staff is kind and i enjoyed my stay .
We enjoyed our visit to this hotel because of its great location. An Albertson's was across the street, and there were several restaurants within walking distance. There were shopping centers nearby, as well as, easy access to the interstate.
Excellent location. Very friendly staff. We stay here every chance we travel thru the area. Many restaurants in the area. Shopping galore. Easy on and off of 820. Food, lodging and shopping, what more can you ask.
Handicap accessibility for handicap room I stayed in does not meet ADA guidelines Noise from Exercise room next to us woke us up around 5AM The cleanliness and room layout is excellent, staff is courteous when spoken to but don't go out of their way to greet you first, which would make a friendlier atmosphere IMO.
Don't get in a hurry @ check in. Check in clerk easily frustrated and irritated. Cleaning staff very friendly and helpful! Location of motel difficult to get back on 820 due to 199 traffic and clutter
Could not have been more pleased with room, Bed or Breakfast. Disappointed hot tub out of order. Only real disappointment came after returning home and then looking at receipt to find I had been charged 164.00 per night.
I am a returning visitor to this hotel. This hotel rooms were extremely clean. The décor was pleasant to the eyes and presented an atmosphere of calm that enable you to gently fall asleep. The beds were comfortable and the amenities were sufficient to meet the needs of 3 occupants. This hotel is assessable traveling on I-35 East or West. The breakfast was outstanding. There was a variety of entries on the breakfast bar and the coffee was simply delicious...outstanding! If you are arriving in the evening there are several in walking distance of the hotel. I had an exceptional experience at the Waffle House and the steak house next door to the hotel.
Very good service, clean room, nice facility. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Best Western hotels are now my first choice. Nice big rooms and very comfortable. I will be using this hotel again on our trips to Fort Worth. Very good value for my money.
We had a positive experience during our stay. Our room was nice, comfortable and clean. We requested a room equipped for guests with disabilities, for my mother, and the room met her needs. The staff was very accommodating and pleasant, too, and we were happy with the breakfast food selection and quality.
Overall stay with grandchildren was good. Wish the breakfast menu included non sugar cereals such as corn flakes or cheerios, however, good fresh fruit and coffee was available. Hotel inside was clean and comfortable, however, beds not as plush as other hotels. Outside parking lot has problem with birds and their residue which needs better attention. Staff very friendly. Will choose this hotel again.
I have stayed at this hotel 3 times for 11 nights in the last year and a half. The staff has awlays be very friendly and helpful. The hotel has always been very clean inside and out. If there is something you need the staff will do whatever it takes to take care of you within there means. I have never had a problem at this hotel and this is why I continue to come back.
I love this Best WesternPlus! We always feel welcome when we arrive. They remember us and treat us like family. We will go back here when we're in Ft. Worth. It's convenient, feels safe and is a very good value!
Great place, was easy to find and Easy to get to the stockyards from here. Staff was friendly and helpful . room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was ok,,,,,,nothing fancy but saved some money by eating there.
We chose the BW at the start of a 28 day road trip in early September. We had arranged to leave some bags at the hotel whilst we were away and this was very helpful as there were for travelling and we had limited space. Everybody was very helpful with great managers and staff, good clean rooms and good breakfast provided. Highly recommended.
Nilesh and Letty were so very helpful. They even made me and my daughter fresh eggs and sausage, which I wasn't even going to ask because we were late for breakfast, but they did so with a smile! The beds weren't to my liking, but I like softer beds and I know that's not what everyone likes. The location and ease of leaving the hotel was great!
When you claim to be the Best, you should be "the best" in every area! From customer service, cleanliness, comfortable beds and good food! This hotel had mostly great customer service but it only takes one bad experience to ruin the whole trip :( The beds were NOT very comfortable but the room extra large, clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast time offered some different choices but had to ask for food to be replenished each day...and that seemed to annoy the front desk man on duty! :(
This Best Western is excellent in every way. The facilities were clean and well kept, the staff were professional and very helpful. The breakfast was excellent. One of the best BW breakfast we have had. If you have business on the west side of Fort Worth this is the place to stay.
Very comfortable rooms!! I did however smell some mold in room! Other than that it was comfortable and enjoyed the convenience of shopping near by and attractions! Would recommend it to anybody looking for a nice clean affordable room for the night!!
Smelly, Dirty, and Rude. The staff especially the general manager is rude. I tried two different rooms and the first the air conditioner wasn't working. In the second I should have checked the bathroom. There was hair in the shower and sink area. Skip this hotel and try ahhh of the others in the area.
NIce staff. Clean rooms. Clean lobby. NIce area. Easy to get around by foot to eat, shop, or lounge around. MOvie theater is close enough to walk to. Staff was nice and check in was quick. The room had a very slight must odor, very slight, but it was clean and updated. The hotel was nice looking.
We were returning from the west to Tennessee and planeed our stop in fort Worth at this Best WEstern to meet up with high school firend. The hotel was great. The bed was the best at any hotel we have stayed. The hotel employees were very friendly and helpful. Once again Best Western exceeded expectations.
I was pretty disappointed. For a Best Western Plus, this wasn't a very nice place. Dated bedspreads, smelly room, ancient lumpy pillows. Not pleasant. The breakfast was skimpy. But mostly I remember that the room looked like it was forty years old.
Awesome hotel! Clean spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Shower amenities and large towels. Quiet rooms. Offer late check in and very reasonably priced. Close to shopping, food, and gas. Easy parking. Easy access from freeway.
Ins. covered the expense of my stay while my kitchen was being worked on. Close to home. Making it easy for me to go each day to check on work in progress. I had a suite with plenty of space. I am handicapped (on a walker). They gave me a room close to the ice maker and lobby. This is a small facility, which helped a great deal to me.
The day and night front desk women are excellent, but the room had a horrible musty odor, and stayed humid. My clothes and towels always had a damp feeling. The breakfast was the basic, "Belgium waffle, eggs, yogurt, meat, etc." The hotel was very clean, good location with plenty of restaurants and stores around, and less than 8 miles from the Fort Worth Convention Center. Worse pillows ever, lumpy is an understatement. My main reason for the low marks and not wanting to return is for health reasons and the mild dewy odor and dampness in the room.
Good BW right off main Hwy; was a nice place to be for the wedding we were attending. Very close to many shops/restaurants. Very modern rooms; liked having separate Double Queen with sitting area in room. Nice staff. Liked the outdoor pool. Decent breakfast.
Hotel is clean, has a good location, nice pool and has a decent breakfast. However, we were greeted by a large roach as soon as we entered our room. We noted that we had a burned out light in the bathroom, missing light bulb in the wall lamp and the sink drain was positioned so that it was always almost closed and therefore drained very slowly. Reported the roach immediately, and everything at checkout, but they did not write it down, so I doubt they fix it.
The manager was the on one who check us in to are room. He failed to let us know that upon check in that they would be holding 50$ until upon check out as well did not tell us the check out time nor when beakfest would take place he was very rush with us.
The name speaks for itself - "BEST" Western! Very professional staff, very clean facility inside and out. Love that they are smoke free and PET free! We love the Best Western Plus and will stay every time we vacation.
The staff were all lovely and eager to please. That said, with the rooms, you are getting what you pay for. Our first room had an odor of tobacco, but we were quickly relocated. Our iron was broken, but it was swiftly replaced. If you are staying for 1 or 2 nights, book it!
Hotel is conveniently situated off Interstate loop 820. It is very assessable traveling East or West. I found this facility well maintained in and outside. The room was well kept; all appliances worked; bathroom was very clean, and our sleep was very comfortable. The breakfast was great. You were provided a variety of entries. Checkout was simple and easy. All employees I came in contact with was very professional and they greeted you with a smile. They made you feel right at home. I recommend this hotel as one of BW BEST and you should visit and stay.
Check In was smooth. very comfortable room. in room internet was great. in room coffee was excellent. bathroom was very clean and towels we soft. Pool was very enjoyable. excellent hotel & Staff. Centrally located to where we need to be which was Azle
Very Clean & Beautiful Hotel. Excellent staff with great customer service. Very attentive and polite. Plenty of restaurants to choose from all kind of foods. grocery stores, shopping, movie theatre and lake. seems like a all in one package. Nice little town with lot of traffic, may be due to suburb of Fort Worth. Highly recommended hotel.
This Best Western In Lake Worth Texas was one of the best hotel i have stayed in a while. All staff members were very helpful & polite. Everyone was ready to help. Breakfast was excellent. Nice shopping options and lot of restaurant in the area.
BEST hotel stay ever!!!! This is DEFINITELY the hotel to stay @... The staff is unbelievable... True customer service... Friendly, informative about the local amenities, genuinely concerned about your happiness during your stay..
Me and my family stayed for two days for my daughters graduation .The staff was very helpful and friendly . Cleaning staff were accommodating for my size family and thorough .We will be back in a few months .
I use Best Western hotels quite frequently. This one was not up to the usual standard. TV was not working. No requested wake up call. This caused me to miss breakfast and barely make the noon check out time. The room itself was ok. But, when I told the desk person about the missed wake up call, he really didn't seem to care.
Nice stay for the one night. Just in town for a wedding. Only issues were the ones made notice to. The smell of room, air conditioner and internet staying there was a hot tub when there was not one. Other than that all was ok.
We stayed at this hotel for one night. We are a family of 5 and the room was spacious enough for all of us to sleep comfortably. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff was courteous and helpful. The breakfast offered many options and the items were fresh. The location of the hotel is great! It is right next to the highway, but you cannot hear the highway. There is a Walgreens, a Grocery Store, a Waffle House and restaurant options just a walking distance from the hotel.
We were attending an auction and this hotel was very close. But it was also close to great restaurants, spas and shopping. It was very convenient. The staff was professional and courteous. The room was comfortable and clean. We will definitely stay there again.
This hotel was spectacular. We had a very spacious king suite for 3 nights. We have ZERO complaints about our stay. And enjoyed the great variety of food from the continental breakfast! My husband enjoyed his Texas shaped waffles.
Hotel was clean and comfortable. Easy in and off from the highway. Check in was quick and easy. Breakfast options where a little limited, but other than that all was good. Check out was uneventful. So all in all it was another great stay at a Best Western. I've only had one bad experience at a Best Western and that was in Batrop, Texas. I will never stay at the one again.
Stayed here 4 nights for business. Very accommodating and very nice staff. The rooms have refrigerators that actually keep your stuff cold! The eggs at the breakfast buffet were not runny either. Our company stats here often so I'm sure I'll be back
I have stayed at this hotel for years when I go back home to visit my family. It was always clean, and is located near enough to things like restaurants, grocery stores, a Walgreens all within walking distance. Plus, my sister only lives a few miles from there. I have given this hotel a very good review in the past, but not after this last trip. I will not be staying there again, because IMO the place is not safe! There were drug addicts hanging around asking people for money. The day I encountered them, they were sitting on the bench right outside the side door, and asked me for money to buy food as soon as I came out. As I was driving away, I saw one of them actually go up to a car that had pulled into the front to go into the hotel for checking in. I was there for two weeks, so I had given my 17 year old niece my spare key for personal reasons. I did not inform the front desk about it, nor did I take her down to the lobby to introduce her as a probable visitor to my room. I got back to the hotel around 10:30 one night, with my arms full of bags. I got upstairs only to find my room key would not work. So, I dragged all the bags back down to the desk to ask why my room key didn't work for the fourth time in ten days. When I told the young lady at the desk my room number and volunteered my name, she said "Oh, there was a young woman here earlier, and I reactivated her key". I just said, oh..that was my niece. When I finally got to my room, I found a note from my niece saying she and her boyfriend had stopped by to get some ice cream he had left in the mini fridge. That is when the feeling that I had been violated in a way. The feeling that someone had been in my room and could have gone through all my personal things, and taken anything they found. Again, it was my niece, so I was not angry at the time. But I sure got that way after a couple of days when I realized that anyone who had noticed me going in and out of that room could have come up with a plausible reason why they needed access to it. I never received a call to my room, or to my cell phone that was on file with my reservation. Instead, access was given to a pretty, personable young woman who brought a room key to the desk, and said her Aunt was staying in room XXX, and had given her my spare key, but the key didn't work now. So, her key was reactivated which caused my key to be useless. So, after staying at this hotel at least once a year for 2-3 weeks each visit, for well over 10 years, I will not stay there again. I will spare anyone reading this the story of the injured cat (possibly paralyzed after being struck by a car) I reported for three days to the front desk, only to finally call the local police department to try to report it to animal control myself. I was disgusted that three different adults had no interest at all in finding help for a poor injured animal. So, all I can say now is, do not stay at this hotel! There's a Holiday Inn Express right on the other side of the freeway, and a La Quinta just a few miles further west. I will be staying at the Holiday Inn for any future visits.
Very impressed with the agent that helped me on the reservation line, she was the best. relocating is exciting and the over nights stay make it so much better. This property was a pleasant surprise, with a Uhaul I felt very safe throughout the night.
The hotel rooms were grungy, bed was old as well as thin, ratty blankets, says "non smoking hotel", but reeked of cigarettes. Toilet dud then work, sink stopped up. Heard peoplenext to me having sex. Nasty place.
This was a leisure trip of one night stay. It was a beautiful stay. Really good shopping in the area. We were looking for a cheap but nice hotel. We had never stayed in this city. It was in a location were multiple eater. I really enjoyed my stay.
We booked this hotel because it was near our kids. What a mistake! When we arrived, we were given keys to the room...we walked in and it smelled like 5 people had JUST smoked a pack of cigarettes each in this NO SMOKING ROOM! It was terrible! I instantly got to feeling bad all stuffed up from the smoke. Then we called to the front desk and went downstairs and got our second set of room keys-- the room was right next door. The room did not smell as bad but there was a weird strong smell. The hotel staff said it was the spray that they use after they clean the room. She said, some hotel guests don't like it because it is SO Strong. Well, indeed it is! As we stayed in the room...the strong smell got more intense...and we started to itch! The place is old and bedding is washed but old dingy looking. The bed skirt had a layer of dust all over it! So rooms appear to be surface cleaned but not well cleaned. The TV did not work ...so we called again to the front desk. The hotel staff came up and after some time...managed to get it to work. The hotel was booked so there were no other rooms for us to take and it was late. Well, we were so tired from a long drive to see our kids ...that we hoped for the best and to go to sleep but that would not be the case as we found out that we were given a room...room number 200...that is right on the street. All night long it sounded like motorcycles and huge trucks were driving right through our room! We could not go to sleep. We had our White Noise machine with us...we turned it up as loud as it could go...it did nothing to mask the noise! I usually do not have a review such as this,,,but I cannot suggest this hotel. The next morning, I went to the front desk to ask to speak with the manager...and told him of our terrible night and that we had little to no sleep...he just said, sorry. He made no compensation for the terrible experience. I have stated at hotels with minor inconveniences and the manager would do something....this place-- Nothing! The manager just handed me my bill for a little under $100.00! What a joke! I suggest to go a few miles from here and stay at the Downtown Omni !!! It is worth the additional 10.00 as there is no comparison. If I had known how close the Omni was...I would have never stayed here. We were going to stay 3 days at the Best Western but left and went to the Omni and had a marvelous stay with them! Oh yes, the BW parking lot was all roped off for repairs...so is difficult also to park and get turned around to leave...but we managed!
I stayed on a Sunday night after a wedding. I needed an early check-in because the shuttle was leaving at 2:45 pm, when check-in is typically at 3:00 pm. I called Friday night to request an early check-in and the person I spoke to said he would make a note but that I needed to call back tomorrow. I called back on Saturday and the woman I spoke to thouggt I wanted to check-in that night. When I finally had her understanding what I was needing, she said I needed to call back on Sunday. Needless to say that was the frustrating. I ended up just going to the hotel and asked to check-in. The manager said to give him 45 minutes to an hour and the room would be ready. Thankfully it was ready and after the previous phone calls, the stay was fine. They offer a noon check-out which was great! Clean room. I did go up to a friends room on the 2nd floor and their room stunk like stale smoke. It was nausiating! The breakfast was ok (cold cereal, scrambled eggs, waffles, etc).
We only stayed one night, but everything was great! We were traveling down I-35W on the way to Corpus Christi and had to divert quite a few miles off I-35W, but it was worth it! Comfortable and clean. Large room, too, and very convenient to gas and food.
In the reviews, it was stated this was a "new" hotel and it was definitely not. We asked for a King Size Suite and when we checked in we got a King Size handicapped room that the bathroom area in the shower stall was disgusting. We asked to change rooms but they were at capacity. They could have given us a discount or free room but did not. The bed was also old and very uncomfortable.
I stayed in this hotel and it was fine. We had a block of rooms reserved for a wedding, and as a result had to check in with one card but another was used to check out. They charged the original card, and I called the very next week to get it sorted out. They said it was fixed and that I should see the money back in my account in 2-3 business days. After that, I called again and they said that actually the process could take 7-14 business days. Now, a month later, I called and the manager said they never corrected the problem, they fixed the payment today and that it will take 4-5 business days. I'm sure I've talked to a different person each time, but losing faith in if I will get my money back and if they truly know how long it takes to return money to cards, considering the 3 different time lengths I was told.
My number one criteria for any lodging is a clean property; Best Western PLUS of Lake Worth gets very high marks! The check-in was without issue as was the check-out. The staff was friendly even suggesting local restaurants for our evening meal (we prefer to eat local when traveling). Breakfast was very good and included a variety of options. Our only (small) complaint was the pool was too cool to be enjoyable. If we are in the area again, this motel would be at the top of our list.
the best western at lake worth texas was one of my nicest places. the breakfast was sufficient the rooms where clean and fresh. the staff was great with customers and very knowledgable about the surrounding.
Was expecting more from a Best Western Plus. Room was average no plus here..stained carpet..hard uncomfortable bed..lamp not working .drawers broken .wouldn't recommend for family..there are too many other nicer hotels for same $ spent
I just spent two days here and they were great! I do not have anything bad to say about this place. Very friendly staff. Clean, spacious, quiet and comfortable room. Breakfast bar food was good. All in all, it was one of the nicest places I've been in for a very affordable motel.
I was in town overnight for an event and chose this hotel based on location and cost. The welcome at reception was very friendly and helpful and the room was clean. Not much more to ask for when it's just a short stay. While I did not use the pool or gym, both looked adequate and clean. I found the bed to be very comfortable. The breakfast was satisfactory and the are was well stocked and maintained.
This hotel is very much worth your money and time. The staff is very warming and helpful. The location is great. There are severl stores located within walking distance of the hotel. The only concern is there's not a lot of parking. The breakfast is awesome.
The hotel was a little above average. I've stayed in better but definitely stayed at worse. The a/c was a problem I believe because it was so humid and the room was a little musky. Couldn't let the water run in the sink because it didn't drain properly. Had a problem with children (3) hanging out in the lobby without adult supervision. Overall the hotel was acceptable.
For me to give you a stronger review I think you would need to address the issues that really didn't seem to be that BIG of a deal to your staff. First, when I go to check in the lady at the front was so worried about my ID, Driver's License and Credit Card. When I explained to her that I understand the policy, she seemed to just keep going on about what she had to do. I use Best Western all over the World.... Not a big deal. When I went to tell her that I wanted to use my $25.00 Credits I have "Because I rent VERY often from you" She seemed to not want to deal with it that night. This left me with the feeling I was being passed off to the next shift. After signing the paperwork that states that this is a NO SMOKING property and I would get Fined if I did...... I head up to my room. 230, Opened the door and BAMM, you could smell the smoke. I head back down to the Lobby and the woman is completely overwhelmed with people trying to check in. (I get it). I go back up stairs, by this time I have been driving all day and it's late. I sit down and turn on the TV. NO SIGNAL TO BE FOUND..... Again, I stay in enough Hotels (Best Western) that I understand the DRILL that sometimes storms, etc. knock out the connection and they need to be reset. I do all the unplugging, etc with NO AVAIL. I call down to the front desk and I can hear that she is still with someone. All I get is the standard answer. Unplug each wire and wait, re plug and test. I do all of that, call again, now she tries to explain to me that I must not be doing it right. I hang up and proceed to redo all of the same steps. I call back. She tells me that all she can do is "Put a maintenance work order in". Then proceeds to tells me that would be about 2 or 3 hours. Are you kidding me....? That would put it at 2:00 or 3:00 in the morning. I just decided to call it a night. ALL I WANTED TO DO IS SLEEP IN A CLEAN FUNCTIONING ROOM. I wake up to a huge Thunderstorm outside, I get it.... It's Texas. But do I have to wake up to water dripping from the ceiling? The wood molding was warped from water damage..... This WAS a known issue. I go downstairs, the Breakfast area was a mess. Stations were " we are cooking that", we are getting more coffee.... I'm done. I go upstairs and pack and check out. Using the credits, this was like pulling teeth. After having the woman print all of them (4) out she then proceeded in having to spend 15 plus mins entering all of these in. When I told her of the smell of cigarettes, NO TV and water leaking. Her response...... Oh thanks for letting me know. I might expect this from another chain or even a low end Best Western, BUT a BEST WESTERN PLUS. I don't think so. I (If I have a choice DEPENDING ON THE CITY OR AREA) only stay in your PLUS level Hotels. I feel like I wasted my $100.00 voucher on a room that should never have been rented in the first place. BAD EXPERIENCE.
We arrived late and there were children helping to check guests in. The breakfast wasn't worth eating. The pool was incredibly small and uninviting. The hotel is outdated overall. The quality of this hotel was equivalent to a Motel 6.
Really liked this hotel. It was clean and had a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was a step up from the typical hotel continental breakfast. It had cheese omelettes on two of the days and scrambled eggs on the third. Also, sausage links and patties along with Texas shaped waffles. Also, had the usual other items. We used the pool a lot and it was nice and pretty clean. Some issues we had were that the coffee in the lobby was kind of luke warm and we asked for a refill on the omelettes on day 2 and it took the lady so long to make them that we had to leave. Also, there was an issue with the jacuzzi near the pool. I think the hotel needs to have better security at their pool because really anyone can sneak in here. The bathroom near the pool was disgustingly dirty and the hot tub looked like a homeless person had been bathing in it. It was closed one day and the third day it was open but the water was dark grey! Yuck! They need to make it so you need your room key to enter the pool. Without these issues I would give this place 5 stars. Still would stay again.
Stayed 3 days for a sisters' retreat. Rooms very clean & beds quite comfortable. Adequate hot/cold breakfast, conveniently located to our itinerary. Great treadmill in exercise room with TV. Only minor problem with door keys frequently needing re-keyed which was handled promptly. Would stay here again next time in Fort Worth..
Nice place to stay, need to have car, nothing was in easy walking distance, easy drive to Fort Worth Stockyards. Breakfast cutoff time was earlier than 10:00 AM, so we did not get to try their breakfast. Would stay there again.
We stayed here because the location was convenient to I 820, gas stations, Albertsons grocery, a great cafe and 3 miles from relatives we visited. Great rate online (TripAdvisor), quick and friendly checkin. The room was excellent. Clean and roomy with a microwave, fridge and sofa. AC worked well. Kids loved the outdoor pool and hot tub. The breakfast was nice, waffles, cereal, eggs, sausage and breads. Our TV remote wasn't working and was fixed immediately by a friendly housekeeper who swapped it out. We will stay here again!
Spent one night at this Best Western and found it to be very clean and comfortable. Easy check-in with a friendly staff member. The room was a very nice size with a comfortable king-size bed. Room was on the first floor and the place was very quiet. Did not eat breakfast so can not comment on the quality. Would stay here again.
A very good sized room and very comfortable bed, good sized bathroom.Perhaps needs updating a little as the furniture is a little marked.A standard hot and cold buffet breakfast which when included in the price makes it good value.Well situated for restaurants and shopping.
Clean, and close to shopping. Would recommend it to others. , This staff was very friendly and ready to help if I needed it. A very nice area. We were able to walk to nearby restaurants. It was a quiet place to spend a couple of nights.
Always trying to stay here when in Fort Worth area. Nice pool with hot tub,and short way to a lot of good places to eat. The hotel is friendly and clean. They also offer a full breakfast. Check-in 24/7. And free parking.
We have stayed here several times for the jacuzzi rooms. Always a great experiance. Comfortable beds, clean rooms and great staff. They have a nice breakfast in the mornings also. Not huge but more than just continental
The staff was friendly and the entrance of the hotel was decent. The first room was full of mold on the ceiling and brown stains (not fresh, had been there for a while). Our 2nd room was moldy smelling and humid. We were given an "upgrade" with a hot tub that did not work, and were given towels with hair on them!
Check in was easy, the room was large and clean. Enjoyed having a couch and chair...just like home. The convenience of traveling to the Stockyards and Sundance Square made this Best Western a must for us.
The hotel seemed of good quality, I didn't spend time taking advantage of other services they provided because it was a short stay. I wish that there was a water fountain, if there was one, I couldn't find it.
The Best Western Plus was very clean and well kept hotel! It was in a great location with lots of restaurants and shopping all within walking distance. The Staff was very polite and 'wanted' to assist in any way! Would highly recommend staying here if in the area!
The hotel met our expectations and was adequate. We travel frequently and enjoy visiting new areas. We thought that the hotel was close to our relatives and close to the Stockyards. We did have difficulty with the TV remote and the room had a slight musty odor. But overall the experience was more than satisfactory
This hotel is very convenient for us when we visit family in the area. The staff members were very friendly. Our room was ready when we arrived, and we found it to be clean and comfortable. Breakfast was typical, but the kind and friendly attendant made it above average. This hotel uses a cleaning product or air freshener that I find a bit disagreeable. That would be the only reason we might stay elsewhere if we find all other things equal, including the price.
No tissues. Did not make up room the first night there even after being advised of same. Room for the most part OK, small amount of hot water and attention to details missing. Hotel folks nice but did not take action when sub-par items brought to their attention. Will not stay at this location again.
I was not satisfied with the check in staff. He was unfriendly, rude, impatient and used vulgar language in front of my 15 year old daughter and 3 year old son. I do not recommend this hotel for staying for the price that we paid.
We stayed one night after a wedding that was nearby. It was easy to find, was clean, and beds were comfy. We did not use many of the amenities since it was such a short stay, but it served it's purpose. We did eat some breakfast and that was nice to have available.
This hotel had a great continental breakfast with extremely friendly staff. I would reccommend this hotel. The beds were also extremely comfortable and the rooms were clean. The staff was very polite and kind and was there for anytime you had a question or need.
My family stayed here for three days. We were greeted by Joyce, who couldn't stop smiling as she checked us in. Every time we interacted with Joyce during our stay, she was very helpful, happy, and gracious. Our rooms were clean and well attended to during our stay. Everyone we met that worked at this hotel was very pleasant. I know now why my parents wanted to stay here on their return visit to this area. Excellent customer service. Ease of access. Super clean.
Nic hotel, good location, close to highway, shops and restaurants. Friendly staff, very accommodating. Rooms spacious and beds comfortable. Free continental breakfast in the morning. Laundry facilities and pool available. Would definitely visit again and recommend to others.
Friendly staff, helpful. Conveniently located to Fort Worth area, with several restaurants and stores nearby. Comfortable and quiet room. Location was confusing at first, but once found behind the Walgreens it was easy to return. Only complaint was pillows were to soft for my preference. I like firm pillows.
Hotel was an all around average hotel. The room floor had food crumbs and threads on carpet. It was reasonably priced $79 and was a quite hotel. No road or people noise. The breakfast was average. It was nice that they had coffee available all day and cookies in the evenings. If we did not get rooms at a discounted price i would be disappointed.
I have been staying in this hotel once or twice a year for several years when I go home to visit. It is in a very convenient place for dining, shopping or going to movies. Want an old fashioned meal? Walk across the street to Ginger Brown's, who will give you one of their special home made huge cinnamon buns with each meal. It's a very plain looking place, but the people are very friendly and helpful. Right next to Ginger's is an Albertson's grocery in case you are staying at the hotel for a while and would like snacks in your room. Oh! In the same shopping center, if you have a hankerin' for an old fashioned hamburger, stop by Jimmy's Big Burgers. They live up to the name. Right next to the hotel, there is also a Cotton Patch restaurant. They are known for chicken fried steaks, and Monday nights is discount night. Many chain restaurants are in the area as well. The hotel is not far from Lake Worth and a Nature Center. Historic Fort Worth Stockyards is about a ten minute drive away. Various museums are not much longer of a drive, and well worth the trip. The Fort Worth Zoo is an easy 20 minute drive, and was determined to be one of the top 10 zoos in the country in 2014. The hotel is very clean and has a really friendly and helpful staff. There were only a few things that would make this a truly above average hotel. I made a couple of suggestions when I checked out a week or so ago. First, I like to leave a light on in the bathroom for light in case I have to get up in the night. However, there is only one switch that controls the light and exhaust fan, and the fan can be quite annoying running all night. I also suggested they install heat lamps in the bathroom for taking that early morning shower. The hotel apparently has a contract with a company that uses contract construction workers. Just about every time I have stayed there, I have seen a lot of work trucks parked in the lot. But I have never seen any kind of problem with these guys. Last for me. It seemed my bed was like sleeping on a rock slab. Even my nieces who stayed a few nights with me said the same thing. After sleeping on those beds for two weeks, I felt like I had been beaten. I asked one time about maybe getting a different mattress. The woman I asked at the front desk I had not seen before, and never saw again, but she told me the beds were the standard issue Best Western beds and nothing could be done. I had my doubts about that, but never pursued it further. I wish I had. All in all, if you're looking for a clean, safe and friendly place to stay, (and are a fan of hard mattresses) I highly recommend this place.
My family stayed one night for a wedding, and the hotel staff were very nice. The hotel was clean, well-appointed, and modern. I appreciated the shuttle service to and from the wedding; it made everything so much easier!
The hotel was very clean and the staff was courteous and helpful. The breakfast was fresh, delicious and had plenty of everything. The location was convenient to the highways and stores. I recommend staying here.
Ivr stayed here 4 nights. Rooms are clean and quiet. It seems like the Bathroom was recantly renovated. The room was a little stuffy and not aired, i had to leave an opened window with a highway noise entering the room so if you are alergic and need quiet you'll have a problem. Simple breakfast but i liked it.
Friendly, efficient staff. Quick and easy change of rooms upon checkin due to faulty deadbolt. Nice upgrades to decor, and very comfortable beds. Good breakfast. Convenient to shopping, eating. Good value.
What I love about Best Western Plus is that they are the ONLY hotel that fits 5 or 6 people in ONE room! Two double beds and a sofa bed that fits 2 people. Large TV Flat screen (looks at least 31 inches). The asian lady at the front desk treated us (were minorities) like any other race, I notice that right away. Omelets had cheese but no meat. No donuts. I heard some kids running around at night for about 2 mins. The Hotel was sold out on Thanksgiving (2015) night.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Clean and comfortable room. Close to restaurants and shopping. Staff were very personable and helpful. The waffles at breakfast are in the shape of the state of Texas. Loved that touch!
I like this hotel. The staff is a team that gets stuff done. Good rooms, awesome tv in room, clean, comfortable. I have stayed many times over the past 3 years and it is consistently good. They have made improvements constantly to the property to make it better.
The location of the Lake Worth Best Western Plus was great. Close to highway 820 and easy to get to. There are all kinds of stores and eating places near by. Room were nice, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good, with eggs and sausage patties included. Price was good, better price if you book early. I would have given this motel an excellent rating, but I had an incident with their broken, but not marked as broken, washing machine and I did not feel they handle it correctly. I had to take my soaking wet laundry elsewhere to be rewashed and dried. And the note I put on the washer was removed. However I would stay there again.
The lady that checked me in also worked very hard in making sure that I got a room for the extra day that we stayed. She very nice and profession in every she did. Best Western is very lucky to have such an employee.
The hotel was always a great place to stay the past 3 years but with the remodel it has gotten better. The TV's have been upgraded, the LED lighting in the common area makes it nice and even. The staff is as great. The attitude of the staff is good. I like staying here.
This hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and check-in/out was quick. Breakfast was good. I have stayed here a couple of times and both times I had the same experience. I would recommend this location and Hotel chain anytime.
Had a good stay at the Hotel. I was afraid that it was not going to be good when the clerk at the desk wouldn't get off the cell phone to help me< but after she did she went the extra mile to make me feel at home. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. I will stay here again if the need arises.
the entire staff do an awesome job in accommodating their guests. This shows through in the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. The breakfast is hot, plentiful, and well maintained. The location of the hotel is excellent for being within walking distance to a medical clinic, several restaurants, a grocery store, a pharmacy, and a gas station. Awesome place to stay!
We started staying at this Best Western about 3 years ago while coming to the South West Believers Convention. We received great service then and still do! Anytime our friends come to town we put them up here!
