Best Western Plus Knoxville Cedar Bluff

Our room was very clean. We found the hotel to be very quiet. We were greeted immediately on entering and found staff to be very pleasant and helpful. Even though there were two buses, breakfast was well supplied and a nice selection. We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel needs a little update. The hallways were worn down and looked like something from the 80's (not in a good way). They have one waffle maker instead of at least two. So, you will be waiting along time to get a waffle unless you are first in line when they open.

Even though the hotel was a little dated on the inside, the staff were very nice and helpful, the beds were comfortable, the room was good size with plenty of space, couch was convenient, the breakfast in the morning was very nice with plenty of options, and the price was very reasonable for everything the hotel offered. Overall, this was a very nice accommodation.

This Best Western hotel is a great value. Our room with two queen beds was roomy and clean, with a mini fridge, microwave and ample outlets at each bedside. I hate when there is no available outlet by my bed to charge my phone and other devices. Or you have to move a nightstand to access an outlet. Such a ridiculous oversight that so many hotels are guilty of. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was above average as compared to the typical complimentary breakfasts at hotels at this price point. In general, there is nothing fancy about a BW hotel, but as with most, this one was $50 - $80 per night less than a comparable Hilton, Marriott or other brand. Bonus: Within walking distance of several restaurants and pubs.

The breakfast bar was really good.. room clean and comfortable. Staff was so nice. Cookies were good too! Fast customer service desk. Plan on coming back real soon. Close to alot of nice restaurants and things to do. Loved getting away to such a nice place.

I finally found a perfect handicapped hotel room. It had everything it promised to have. First floor, Roll in shower, shower chair, sofa and lots of room to maneuver.. It was at a Best Western in Knoxville Tennessee and it was also super clean. I have been so disappointed in the past when I have made careful reservations and then I get there and I have to choose between having handicap accessible or a couch. Or it says handicap accessible and that means there is one grab bar in the tub. Or the bathroom does not have enough room for the wheelchair. This was perfect. I am going to give it five stars on the Internet.

This is one of the best Best Westerns I have stayed at. The evening desk clerk. Christine did it phenomenal job. Very friendly, knowledgeable, engaging. The breakfast in the morning was absolutely delightful. The staff kept the area clean and well stocked. In the morning the dust clerk Jenna was very professional, engaging and help me sign up for a promotion that Best Western was running. The rooms are very clean. The beds are very comfortable. The room was very quiet. The stay at this Best Western was truly a pleasant experience.

Check in was easy and quick. very clean and safe. close to restaurants and activities! Staff was courteous and friendly. Breakfast was hot and fresh, loved the yogurt machine! hot coffee all day! Will stay here again!

The front desk clerk (female, Anna or something?) was great; room was clean and amenities good (love the shampoo, conditioner and body wash in bath), lots of pillows, and the breakfast was ready early and the prep cook/attendant kind and caring.

The bed was the best and pillows. It was so comfortable. U slept all night. The kitchen counter was Hugh. It was great having the extra room. Bathroom sink was separate from toilet area. Loved the room and was nice and big. Service was great and friendly . Very clean

We travel often. In all of our years, we have never received a warmer, or more sincere welcome. April and Ashley are true gems! Immaculate lodging. Room was beautiful. Sofa was clean, but a little tired! Breakfast was wonderful. We had an early drive, so the attendants let us eat a few minutes early. One problem. We should have called desk as noise didn't stop until after midnight. Kids above us tapping things. Found out later it was a team of hockey players. Not hotel's fault, but chaperones. Quiet from traffic noise yes, room to room no. April recommended a restaurant and it was perfect. Ashley checked us out. She felt so bad about the noise.

Good location, very close to hwy, we always stay here on the way to Florida. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Staff is amazing and helpful. Very good breakfast with so many varieties from hot items, waffles, pancakes, fresh fruit, cheese, you gift and much more.

Room was clean, the young lady that checked us in (can't remember her name) was very polite & professional. She assisted us with looking for a place to eat, which was very helpful. When we checked out, Joanne assisted us with respect & was very polite.

During the winter ❄️ storm of ‘24 I needed to stay nearby for work. This was the best and cleanest Best Western I've ever stayed at. Great pillows, soft bed, warm heat, good hot water for showers. Very clean. Super nice polite staff. Coffee and hot chocolate bar was perfect for snow and ice storm. High recommend. Would stay again!

Staff was excellent and made our stay delightful they worked very well to accommodate us because our trip was changed. We had a very pleasant time. They bent over backwards to please us. It was exceptionally bad weather and they also offered up dinner so we didn't have to travel in snow .

We've had our business meetings here for several years now. Our meeting space is always set up nicely and has everything we need. The staff are always kind and accommodating. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Thank you Best Western staff!

We were pleased to stay here for a one night stop over. Unlike other hotels in the area at this time of year (football season) a two night minimum stay wasn't required, so that was a big factor in our reason for selecting this hotel. Also the location is excellent - very close to the interstate for easy travel and plenty of restaurants and even some amusements (movies, bowling, kids play spaces, etc.) The included breakfast is also pretty good. Hotel itself is clean though if dated and worn if you are scrutinizing the details. The room is sufficient. Strikes me as a bargain-looking stay but the price was fairly high for that level of ranking- 3 star. Otherwise, the staff are excellent. The girl working the front desk there helped us get an early check in which was a big help, allowing us to get ready for a wedding that same afternoon. Thank you!

I had a nice clean room, comfortable bed, a good hot breakfast - biscuits and gravy, ample parking, and a pleasant check in and out. I only stayed one night but I would definitely stay there again if I ever get back to Knoxville. I was there for my 60th high school reunion so I will be back in 2033 for my 70th.

Check in and check out was superb. Both staff were so friendly and helpful. The room looked and smelled good - zero concerns or complaints. The breakfast was truly great. Clean, comfortable and quiet! Breakfast was fresh and delicious! Everyone was friendly and helpful. Room was spotless and had no odor. Hallways were clear and bright..a very nice stay! I highly recommend!

It's a good hotel, in desirable location with plenty of stores to walk to. Only problem walking is difficult due to no sidewalks, but cutting through parking lots works ok. Breakfast ok, eggs could be a little softer. Staff friendly and helpful, my room was quiet.

Entire staff is great very helpful. Very friendly hotel is very clean and well-kept. Highly recommend. I will be back in October. I needed maintenance for a couple of things. It was taken care of quickly and done very professionally.

The staff are friendly and helpful. Everytime when I reqeusted something, they responded quickly. we loved the quality of the breakfast. There were many selections, and it lasts from 7am to 10am. Room is very cleaning. We definately recomment this hotel to everyone. It is a gem!

We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the hotel. It was extremely clean and I am very picky about that The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also a notch up from other hotels. It was fresh, hot, and maintained well by the staff. I must say the biscuits were delicious, the coffee was great, and it's always fun to make your own waffles and pancakes. We will definitely return. We even stayed an extra night. The room was amazing for the low price. Super clean and even had a kitchen. It was decorated very nicely and the bed was comfy. The staff was so nice. We will look for a Best Western Plus when we travel anywhere else.

April is fantastic at the Front Desk. She had everything ready at check in. It was a smooth and easy process. This is the second stay in 30 days. Each visit has been great and with great staff.

This is a fairly new Best Western, and I would put it on par with many Hampton Inns I have stayed at, and much less expensive (about $50 cheaper than a nearby Hampton Inn on the night I stayed). The room I was in was new, clean and very spacious. It also had a microwave and mini-fridge, and the breakfast was also very good, with both waffles and pancakes, oatmeal, bacon and eggs, and other items. The staff were also very nice and accommodating.

We had a large group & this hotel stepped up and was able to accommodate us at the last minute. The staff was very friendly & helpful. Breakfast was great. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Knoxville.

Definitely kind and courteous staff. Helped get discounts for the rooms and the following rooms across the country. We stayed on the lower floor room 109 and everything was basically right outside our door the continental breakfast the ice machine parking lot just outside the door where the truck was parked.

This hotel was great, right in the middle of everything to do and see. The employees were great. Laura and April were so nice at the front desk and made us feel right at home. The room was so spacious and clean and bright even though it was a very cloudy day and then the rain was so bad and there a space to pull right up to the front. I will definitely stay at this place when we return to Knoxville. The breakfast was so good also with so much variety.I just can't say enough good things about this motel. You will be very happy you stopped and stayed here. The bed was nice and comfortable.

I recently stayed at a Best Western Plus hotel and I was very impressed. This Best Western hotel was a rare find. Their staff is so nice...Rare!!! the young lady at the front desk, Jetta, was the sweetest young lady to deal with... The whole staff treated us with respect and it just seemed to good to be true. We stayed on and off for 3 months and would recommend this place as the best little hotel in Knoxville hands down. The maintenance guys were the real deal. Doug, Carlos; heck all of them. Just so awesome to see that there are still good people left in this crazy world.. Thank you guys for being good peeps, just when we needed to see it.. Still good people left in America. I am 63 and know when we are valued. Absolutely well worth the money. The staff were extremely helpful and the hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they went above and beyond to make sure my stay was enjoyable. I especially appreciated the breakfast buffet, which was offered every morning. The buffet had a wide variety of items to choose from, including fresh fruit, pastries, eggs, bacon, and sausage. There was also a waffle maker and a coffee bar, so I could customize my breakfast to my liking. The hotel was also located in a convenient location, close to restaurants, shops, and tourist attractions. This was our 4th stay here and has become our "go to" for when we travel through Knoxville. It's always quiet and clean. The breakfast is fabulous, and everything is always perfect for an overnight stop. The staff is courteous as well.

The staff was amazing! Haven't stayed at a hotel in a very long time where the staff made me feel so at home. Day and night crew both went above and beyond. They were thw perfecr balance of friendly and professional.

We stayed as a stop over on our way home from DC. The room was ready when we arrived and check in was a breeze. Room was comfortable though a little loud, the kids next door calmed down by the time we went to bed. There are plenty of choices for restaurants in the area some even within walking distance. Hot breakfast is from 7-10 and they have grab and go bags if you check out before 7. They rotate bacon and sausage, but otherwise it's eggs, waffles, biscuits and gravy and etc. Price of the room was one of the better ones in the area (that didn't seem to be a “cheap” motel)

Comfortable bed, quiet night, work out room ok. Breakfast good. Allowed early check in, because stranded with car trouble eight hours from home. Freshly baked cookies daily. Hotel was clean, staff was very accommodating.

Excellent place to stay. Rooms are clean and the breakfast was awesome. Try the yogurt bar. Nice touch for an early start. You need to be a rocket scientist to run on the treadmill. A little humor.

The only complaint I have was they constantly played music even during sleeping hours and you could hear it in the rooms. However hotel was accommodating and turned music down on the second night. The breakfast was excellent. It was a good bang for the buck.

Was it the Ritz Carlton? No. But was it clean, safe, comfortable, friendly staff, convenient location, and have a great breakfast? YES! The rooms themself could use some updating & weren't perfect but that didn't take away from the overall stay being enjoyable. My family and I would stay here again.

I stay at Best western's quite a bit traveling for work, and this has to be one of the best. The rooms were huge! I don't think the hotel was new, but the upkeep and cleanliness of the rooms was much better than some brand new hotels I've stayed in. Breakfast was excellent!

The hotel was run very professionally and was clean and well maintained. The breakfast is good, but not any better than comepeting hotel brands. That being said, I will definitely stay here if I'm travelling through Knoxville again.

We had to find a place to rest in between travel info from Alabama to Ohio. This place was great. Clean, friendly front desk staff, great breakfast. The price was very reasonable. I good deal and I definitely would stay there again.

We arrived late and the attendant at the front desk was very kind and thorough. Our room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The shower could definitely use an update. There was a small hole in the tub, but the water pressure and temperature were good. Continental breakfast was amazing. My favorite part was the coffee/cappuccino/latte machine. Definitely recommend Best Western plus!

Very nice clean hotel! Staff was extremely friendly upon arrival, lots of parking close to the hotel entrances, nice clean rooms, very comfortable beds. The free breakfast was also excellent! Hotel is also close to many restaurants in the area. We had an excellent stay and will definitely stay here again in the future!

Really nice breakfast spread including pancake and waffle makers, a yogurt machine with toppings, and a coffee maker that stays out 24/7 where you can make lattes/capps/etc. Hotel is fine - rooms a decent size and clean. Close to shopping centers, but not in an easily walkable area (not a lot of sidewalks and crosswalks).

Breakfast was always hot and one of the best we've had at any hotel stay. Front desk was always super helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Plenty of parking and multiple entrances to get in instead of having to walk around the building to get in.

We made a same day reservation during a road trip and were very pleased. We called the hotel to secure the reservation approximately 2 hours before arrival. When we arrived, the clerk was very pleasant answering several questions and giving us local dining suggestions. Our room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was good with many options. Definitely would stay here again.

We were passing thru the area. Was not our ideal location, but it worked for what we needed. A lot of highway noise, but it was that was expected with the proximity to the highway. Beds/pillows were hard, but not terrible.

Clean room, excellent staff. Near dining, stores and shops. We stay here on the way back from Florida every time. It's convenient off of 75, and stuff are great. Breakfast is the usual, but the coffee machine makes several kinds of coffee, lattes, etc.

This Best Western Plus has it all, from friendly employees to clean room, fantastic Breakfast Buffet, when you walk in the front area is spotless, of course we was greeted by Ashley as we entered .. ours room was so quite bed was comfortable, the only downfall was our shower had very little water pressure..

the room was clean and orderly but there was a distinct smell about the room. it didn't take long to acclimate to it and by the next morning we didn't notice as much. staff at the desk were accommodating.

The room was near the highway and there was a lot of noise. We could not sleep well. Also, the room carpet was filthy and the room smelled damp. We talked to the staff and changed the room for the second night. The breakfast room was small and the breakfast quality was not good. Definitely, the Best Western hotel will not be my future choice.

I would stay here again. A very good location and the room is pretty clean. They have Large rooms and decent breakfast. A few things I wasn't crazy about. 1) Mattress/Pillows too firm. 2)The couch in our room was past it's prime. 3) Low water pressure. I gave it a 3 because it was decent and very easy parking. A few other things are they do not do room cleaning unless asked. The pancake maker didn't work a few times and some of the time nobody was at the front desk.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. I felt safe and I had a comfortable stay. I liked that the parking lot was well lit. Breakfast was great. Took a swim in the pool and the other guests were friendly as well. I highly recommend this hotel for families. The pool is a salt water pool which I loved. I'm not a fan of chlorine so that was a nice surprise.

This was definitely one of the most amazing stays of my two week vacation. The hotel is immaculate. The room was spotless. Most importantly, the room was extremely comfortable and clean. I particularly liked how comfortable the bed was. I had a most comfortable nights rest at this hotel. I was bothered by a couple of the guests who showed up for the free complimentary breakfast at 9 AM. They were complaining about there being no milk available. Something about their air of entitlement really irked me. We are told that it is a free complimentary breakfast. Therefore, it is my belief that we should be thankful for what is available, when it is available, and if this couple were so concerned about what what was not available for the complimentary breakfast, then why did they show up at the last minute? They should've been there at 6 o'clock in the morning when the breakfast buffet opened if it was that important to them. One member of this coupling was so obsessed about the milk, they were walking up and down the halls talking to the other guests about there being no milk. I think this person had other issues going on besides missing milk.

This was the best of the Best Western chain that we visited over the course of our two week holiday. It was clean, comfortable, and full of amenities. All of the staff were friendly, courteous, and attentive to our needs. The hotel is also located in what seems to be a very safe neighborhood.

Front desk staff are very professional and helpful at this location. Top notch! Also wonderful to see an actual full breakfast with lots of choices. Coffee in the lobby, nice pool. A huge room. I plan to stay at this location regularly when in town visiting a daughter. They treat you like family.

Very easy to book online. The staff were very friendly staff, clean room, good breakfast. The location was great and near multiple restaurant choices for us to eat dinner and get to our room and stay one night and head to our grandsons wedding in Charleston SC. This was a great location also .

I was traveling for business, ended up spending about a week and half at this location. The staff was friendly, breakfast was great, and rooms are newly renovated. I did ask for my sheets to be changed after my 1st week, the front desk made the request but after checking on my return the sheets had not been changed.

The communication was great prior to arrival. Front desk was friendly and efficient. We had a really great night's sleep. Room was spacious and comfortable! We felt this area was safe with many nice amenities nearby. We went to a nearby restaurant for dinner and a nearby grocery store for some needs.

Co worker and I arrived after 10pm on 5/6/22, the young lady working the front desk was great. She helped us out with our reservations, went above and beyond. She was very professional and polite, great attitude and was very familiar with the area for place to eat at. The room was very clean and comfortable. I had a great night sleep and the continental breakfast in the morning was very good. Everyone was very polite, great customer service and a friendly smile to go with the service. Keep up the great job.

Room #1... dust across the room counter/ table, with a smudge. Room #2... dirty towels at the sink area, which wife discovered after washing her hands (& using the towels). Desk clerk only offered a $5 discount. GM manager only offered a $10 discount.

Considering you had a maintenance issue with the water pipe you still kept your customers happy. Great job to all of your staff. Your evening front desk administrator did a super job. I definitely will be back very soon. Great team!!!

Clean hotel. Friendly staff. Great location. The room size made a 2 week long week trip much easier. Hallways were very clean. Lobby areas and common spaces were also clean. Meeting space came with everything we needed.

The front desk lady was very friendly and very helpful with my Best Western membership. I really liked how clean spacious and comfortable the room was. The king bed was perfect for a good night sleep.

Clean. Felt safe. Convenient location. Firm beds. Large room with all amenities—fridge, microwave, coffee maker, sitting area. Entrance to bathroom was a little small, but fine for us. Coffee & hot water available in lobby. I really liked the photo-art throughout the building depicting local history.

We stayed one night with 2 rooms. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Beds were firm but comfortable and clean. No dogs so it was quiet except the road noise from the highway. Breakfast was very good. Eggs sausage bagels waffles juice coffee were delicious and they had a nice gentleman to serve the hot items.

Bed was so comfortable pillows a bit hard, sink space small and shower water pressure could have been harder. The room was clean and spacious. Front desk staff very kind and helpful. The price was decent. I didn't like that the breakfast crew always asking for room number.

Noise is unbearable on the highway side of hotel.Was told noise wasnt bad but did not get any sleep the whole night.Spoke with general manager her response was we offer ear plugs at the front desk.YEAH OK

Friendly accommodating Staff, Clean Room and a Hot Breakfast made for a great stop over on our way passing through Knoxville! I would recommend this Best Western to anyone looking to stay for the night or longer as our executive room had a couch, table, mini-fridge, microwave, counter & sink we didn't use!

We really enjoyed our stay there. The staff seem to go through extra efforts to keep things sanitized. Breakfast offered a number of choices and hotel was relatively easy to find to get to. I always try to return there in my trips to Knoxville

We were very impressed with how clean our room was. The entire property was very clean, quiet, definitely sound proof walls. We all enjoyed our time, the hot breakfast was really nice. The overall staff was friendly and very attentive. We would definitely choose this location again.

The young lady who is at your front desk, Jetta, is the reason we chose Best Western. We had been driving for 13 hours and had called a few hotels in Cedar Bluff to ask about room availability and prices. Jetta was by FAR the best and most helpful and professional person we spoke to. We were impressed again when she was there to check us in and because we are seniors and my husband is a veteran she gave us a first floor room-- which we so apprecia Everything was great in the room- clean, new, tidy, spacious. The coffee and breakfast in the morning was good with real half and half! Thanks!

It wasn't the look of the hotel that would cause me to return it was the feel. I knew I could relax and get a good night sleep when I walked into the room. It felt clean and smell clean I will stay again

Our sleep was continuously disturbed at this hotel. We stayed in Room 113 which is just off the lobby and faces the Interstate. . The highway traffic wasn't enough to keep us awake most of the night. Early morning awakening to the loud vconversations between the server and guests ordering their breakfasts in the hallway just outside our room. Nicely decorated hote and great staffl, but soundproofing is lacking. The breakfast area needs to be relocated away from the guest rooms.

Room not vacuumed and large disgusting spot stuck on couch. Doesn't give me hope for the disinfection process. With COVID ramping back up you should do better. Front desk staff seemed not to care when it was brought to their attention. I have photos, they were shown.

This place is the best friendly staff,clean rooms,great breakfast.We always stay here when my husband had knee surgery 2x we stayed here and the staff really helped us they even gave us a room on bottom close to the desk in case we needed anything.I love the staff and thank God for blessing us with them and a clean place to stay.We will be going back.

Clean, friendly, efficient, organized, convenient location. The owner happened to be there a check in and we talked about the total update/remodel that he had done in the last year. This is the BEST Best Western I've ever stayed at and will return.

This hotel is horrible. This was my experience of the room we had White stuff all over the floor in the corner of the room, wall plate was Crack, dips in the floor in the room, which made it easy to trip. No shampoo or conditioner in the dispenser in the shower, water took over 5 minutes to get hot, the vending machines on floor 2 and 3 didn't work. All the hallways in the hotel smelled horribly of pot.The emergency evacuation route posted on our door was for the third floor not for the second floor we were staying on. Pillows were were extremely flat, bed was hard as a 2x4. I felt like I was staying at a cheap motel 6 and not a best Western plus. Very disappointed will never stay in this hotel again and will make sure not to stay at a best Western again anytime soon.

The woman who checked us in our first night was the sweetest, most kind woman my mom and I have ever met! The breakfast was amazing! The room was clean and comfy. The staff was polite and very helpful. We will be back.

The hotel is filthy. The rooms smell and are filthy. We left and did not stay. No refund given. Rude staff and ghetto location. The pictures on the website are NOT of these actual rooms. Disgusting. Gross. Nasty!

We stayed at the Best Western Cedar Bluff for one night en route to Nashville. We found it to be a very comfortable hotel, clean, well decorated, updated, and maintained. The beds were very comfortable. I really liked the bed covering - a stylized branch print coverlet over a quilted down alternative pad. There was a good hot breakfast buffet, modified for these Covid times so that a server filled your plate for you. Overall excellent stay.

I can not say enough about this hotel!! Rooms was fantastic, breakfast was senatorial and the customer service was the absolute best!! Debbie the front host was the kindest person!! She welcomed us and made us feel like family!! Best Exp!!!

Great hotel with great amminities! Was very clean, great staff that was very proffesional, convenient to everything. Our room was on the first floor right around the corner from the front desk and we felt very safe. Loved it!!!

We couldnt find a place online while driving. It had been a long day so I just pulled off the freeway and happened upon this place. Fortune smiled. Check in was quick and efficient. We had a restful night and arrived at our destination early the next day.

Stayed one night on our way to Nashville. Check in was quick and the young lady working was very nice. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. This is a newer hotel. Breakfast was typical offerings, but it was hot and not just a muffin.

All of the staff were courteous and welcoming, however Samantha was our initial contact and was very helpful throughout our stay; she recommended a restaurant for sinner that turned out to be superb and even located a $5 discount coupon. We really appreciate resumption of the complimentary warm breakfast in the mornings.

Easy to access from highway. Surrounded by a variety of restaurants. Comfortable beds. Room smelled like smoke but otherwise clean. One person checking people in therefore there was a 7-10 minute wait.

Even with a confirmation number I was told by a very rude staff that the computer overbooked the hotel! She provided no assistance with finding another hotel. No extra rewards points. No free night! Nothing! Just rude!

Best Western Cedar Bluff is a excellent hotel! The front desk employees are so nice and accommodating. The room was super clean and very inviting. The room service staff made sure everything I needed was available.

After a long day of traveling we stopped for the night. The girl at the counter was extremely courteous and helpful. I even got a teacher discount! Thank you Best Western! My wife and I stayed here for one night on our trip to Tennessee. I want to start off by saying that Samantha was a sweetheart. She was super nice and helpful and cares about everyone. She was even able to get us a better room. The issues that we had included an expensive hold, a few employees were not wearing masks, and some issues with our shower. We had a suite and there was no mirror other than the one in front of the bathroom sink. Almost hotels have one other mirror. We would probably stay here again. I just hope we don't have any further issues

We were unaware that we were going to have to bring wet dirty towels down to the front desk in order to swap them out for clean towels. That was not made clear to us when we made the reservation nor when we checked in at the front desk. When I was asked by the manager didn't I feel like I should bring my towels down. I thought your I don't work for Best Western and no I didn't think it was my responsibility to bring wet dirty towels to them. They could have at minimum had a cart in the hallway where dirty towels could be deposited

I was there because I live some distance away, and I needed to be at a very early appointment. When I got ready to go to bed I was brushing my teeth and noticed that the sink was cracked into 3 pieces. I reported it, but what gets me is that housekeeping is so inattentive as to let the room be rented with that much damage.in the first place.

Breakfast has to be preordered. I remembered the first night and forgot to preorder the next when I extended my stay. The morning clerk said they make the sandwich the night before. When I turned away only then did she call out to say she had extra. Don't need the sandwich. Need the customer service which has kept me a rewards member for many years.

I flew to Knoxville Tennessee from East Texas to help My Son move and I was so exhausted and wanted/needed a clean, warm, and cozy atmosphere and you guys totally nailed:-) I throughly enjoyed the organic shampoo,conditioner, and soap !!

All things considered, this hotel was great. Even during COVID, they are finding ways to offer their guests the highest quality stay possible with "grab and go" breakfast for all in the party. It was clean, modern, and almost everything worked peoperly. The only complaint was the TV needing to be recalibrated every time it was turned on.

We have stayed here before, and the fact that we came back tells you that we were happy with the choice. Breakfast was modified due to covid, but that is the nature of travel these days. I will stay here again.

When we checked in, the Room was not completely clean or meet up. We switched rooms, however that was no better. We had to go back and clean and disinfect areas that we felt were not clean to our expectations considering we were traveling with a newborn. For example, they were water rings on night stand. Also Joy the check and they did not indicate that they are not doing hot breakfast. Site said they were. For $20 more, you can stay at Drury down the road with hot breakfast and cocktail hour :/

I loved this hotel , super clean, modern , comfortable , excellent location , easy access to restaurants , friendly, non smoking . It has only one BUT: coming from the North via 75 S it's not easy to find it, you can see it from the Inter estate but you have to pass it few miles south and one back 3 miles North to find it ,it's not practical especially when you are tired driving the whole day for 8 plus hours . Other than that is perfect , super clean, impeccable, modern, friendly , with ambiance.too bad the restrictions with breakfast : muffin, water and coffee . It has access to wonderful restaurants , it's quiet , very comfortable. You can have a good night sleep . Definitely I recommend it but I don't be Back due to the difficult to bein and out of the place to continue the trip to Florida

The hotel is clean and friendly staff when we checked in late evening on Thursday my husband had a hard time getting on the bed and the staff came and helped get onto the bed which I greatly appreciated the only thing I have to complain about was the breakfast it was a grap and go which I get due to covid

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It was very clean and had recently been remodeled. The beds were plush and full. We slept very comfortably. They provided shampoos, lotions, etc...in dispensers rather than bottles. The fee was below what we normally pay. I have stayed in higher star hotels that were not as nice as this one. They did not have a sit down continental breakfast available due to Covid but they did provide a take away bag with muffins and fruit. We asked for an extended hour the first night and they were agreeable. On this trip we stayed coming, going, and plugged in an extra day sightseeing. The only drawback on the first night was that the cleaning staff was all standing around our door waiting for us to leave...(a bit creepy) but we informed the management of our discomfort and the other two nights were fine. We will probably make this our halfway stop when visiting the grandkids.

Very nice hotel with nice employees. Great location with ample free parking. Plenty of great restaurants to choose from in the area. Clean modern spacious room. Quiet efficient air conditioner unit!! Clean sheets comfy bed. Excellent WiFi. Good tv with sufficient amount of channels. Mini fridge and microwave in room. Electric outlets on both sides of bed which I love so I can charge/use my phone. Ample desk space. Definitely would stay here again!

Went for a softball tournament. Great location. Walking distance to many restaurants and stores. Friendly, efficient staff. Nice pool area. Large rooms. Very quiet. Pretty lobby area. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Every time I have stayed at a Best Western (Myrtle Beach, SC and Cedar Bluff, TN) I personally had an issue for one reason or another. Best Western hires THE BEST employees because I received such compassion to my situation both times in different states. They are truly customer oriented and want to ensure you have a pleasant stay. Thanks for all of your HELP CEDAR BLUFF you have no idea this experience will stay with me FOREVER. Thank you ALL.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The price was good. Just wish we could of had the breakfast but was not available due to Covid 19 restrictions. But they did offer water bottles and snacks to go!

Rock hard beds,rock hard pillows, and the very worst is that they have hired several illegals from Mexico here as maids. According to Homeland Security, it is AGAINST the law to further the cause of illegals according to their website. I certainly plan on filing a complaint against your business!

Smelled bad, dirty, lazy front desk, beds are hard as a rock, no screen in window and we had our $600 hitch stolen while the lazy front desk person was right by our truck. She had to of seen it happen! They didn't even care and didn't do anything for us. Hands down one of the worst areas to stay at!

We stayed here one night. The room was ok and the bed was comfortable. The hotel was clean and the staff we encountered were pleasant. The breakfast area was much too small for the number of guests, the food was good.

Service was what you would expect unil we went into our room which was a handicap room. We were not told of that, we thought we were getting a regular room with king size bed. When we realized it was a handicap room since we had stayed in that type of room before and we had been on the road for over10 hours we said nothing unti the next morning. We reported to the desk clerk about the following, Barking dog, why we not told about the room being a handicapped room. We had problems with the TV, The Shower, the bed, the heater, Bathroom toilet, and the TV.It looked like us that the room had not been cleaned or inspected for some time.

Very convenient to I75/40. Was greeted by very pleasant clerk and check in was swift. There was evidence of remodeling going on but I never heard anything, though it was the weekend. Room spacious. Some noise from the interstate but not enough to keep me awake. Never heard noise from people. Nice touches in the room such as the lap desk and USB plugs next to bed. Shower was good and warm with good toiletries provided. Towels were very clean. Bed comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was typical hot breakfast offerings and was good and hearty. All in all i would recommend this hotel! Very pleasant.

I always call ahead and ask about parking for our truck and camper. The woman at the front desk told us there was a 'large parking lot' in the back of the property. There was not. It was a smallish parking lot with a lot of construction items in it. (Dumpster, storage containers, large vehicles) And I also asked if the the driveway went all they way thru to the road. I was told it did. It did not. I'm not sure of this particular employee has ever seen the back parking lot. Thankfully there were a few helpful gentlemen there to help my husband get the truck & camper in the parking lot and turned around so we could get out in the morning. H we known ahead of time about the size of the parking lot, we would have stayed some where else. The hotel is under renovation & that is just fine. What isn't fine is selling a room that isn't finished. We were told at check-in there wasn't another room available even though I had called well in advance as was told there were several rooms available. It was mostly clean although there was plaster dust and scraps on the floors as well as nails & screws on the floor and counters. The sheets on the windows were shredded (not exaggerating) and we had to move some of the furniture. Desk, chair & easy chair were all in the middle of the room. I expect Best Western Plus to be a step above. This was clearly not.

This was a great place to stay. It was so clean and comfortable. Joanne, front desk lady was wonderful. She was kind and extremely helpful. The breakfast was the best we've had in a hotel. We will definitely come back and also tell our friends about it.

I've stayed at this site several times over the past 2 years. The staff is great and helpful. Breakfast is always good and the chef interacts with the patrons..The location is great also..close to several restaurants.

We enjoyed our stay at Best Western Plus. Rooms were clean. Lobby was nice and clean. Staff was quick to get us checked in and everyone was friendly. We did not get to try breakfast...it smelled delicious. They had different types of coffees, teas and hot chocolate in the lobby. I noticed a few little things in our room that could use some minor attention (chair had stains on it, small areas of rust on bathroom fixtures, corners could use a little cleaning). Overall the room was nice and clean. I would stay again.

The staff is always very warm and rooms are well taken care of and clean. I stay here twice a week for work and every time I come in I feel like they are happy to see me. Breakfast is always ready and delicious.

I always stay here when travelling on I75. Very convenient, lots of shopping and restaurants close by, easy on and off the interstate. Felt safe and it was clean. The breakfast was ready at six, so that was nice for me.

Friendly staff, clean rooms but ours had big water spots on the ceiling in the bath room. The tub had no stopper, so no bath. Just aged rooms. The breakfast was not good IMO. Over cook sausages and funky tasting eggs . We skipped it .

THIS IS A GREAT LITTLE PLACE ONLY 3 FLOORS,BUT IT S LOCATED IN A GREAT PLACE RIGHT BESIDE I -40 .The location you can see from I-40 and has a great ingress and egress on and off I 40 ,from cedar bluff. The staff was very helpful,breakfast was good, very clean and well maintained. the only thing I think the mattress we had was old and need replacing besides that no complaints.

My group found that knoxville, TN was in a good place during our trips to Florida to stop for the night. We tried BW Cedar Bluff in 2018 and loved it. We stayed there again this year and we loved it again. There's nothing about this hotel I would complain about. You'll love it too.

My husband and I were visiting family in Knoxville for the holiday weekend. The Presidential room was huge! We enjoyed every part of our stay - from the clean room, comfortable bed, full breakfast and workout room. We both have specific dietary needs (I'm gluten free, he's Keto) and the huge breakfast buffet had enough variety to meet each of our needs. The staff was very personable and we appreciated their efforts to make our stay enjoyable and relaxing.

If you are staying here make sure to test the mattress. It was not comfortable at all. I woke up with body aches and had a hard time getting to sleep. Other than that it was ok. The person on the desk was very nice. But I don't want to use this hotel again.

Of the many hotels around Cedar Bluff this Best Western stands out as a great choice. Rooms are good sized and quiet. The internet works well. Unfortunately the shower is not as good as one might like. Service at the front desk was always prompt and helpful. Great location, near several local restaurants. Easy on/off from the highway.

Great spacious room for a fantastic price. Whirlpool tub, comfortable desk chair were just two of the things i appreciated. Breakfast area was small but the food was hot and plentiful. Cant imagine anything that would have made this trip better.

This is not a 3 star hotel. Not any where near a normal beat western. Shower head was broken, the beds were squeaky and uncomfortable. Hotel smells very weird with the rooms having a musky moldy smell. Breakfast was terrible. Didn't even have regular milk for cereal only almond milk. Save your money and book somewhere else for this price.

The room was very comfy and clean. Got a good nights sleep. Appreciated the small fridge as I had a cooler with me. Breakfast was great with lots to choose from including eggs, bacon, biscuits, gravy, waffles and toast. The seating area was clean, spacious and had a TV. The only drawback I could find was the location. I had to go through a very high traffic area to get to it. It was off a main drag with lots of restaurants and shopping plazas and traffic.

Had a nice, spacious room. Everything was immaculately clean. Staff was beyond excellent. However, we are frequent clubbers and usually get fantastic service. We did not have breakfast although it was offered to us. Lots of breakfast items to choose from, served in a spacious breakfast area. Staff cannot do enough to make your stay perfect. Will definitely come back again and again.

Good breakfast, but room needed thorough cleaning and renovating. Bed comforter was lumpy, bed spreads old and room smelled of mold. Wall had some substance splattered on the wall. Room really needed updating.

This hotel was convenient to highways and dining choices. It would have received five stars except for some minor issues the the bathroom. The wallpaper is peeling and showed areas with pink algae seeping through the paper, toilet seat would not stay up when needed, and the tub was slow to drain. The room carpet could stand some cleaning. The service was great and very responsive. The hot breakfast was better than expected. I would stay there again and expect the staff to mitigate the minor maintenance items.

The stay at The Best Western plus cedar bluff inn was wonderful. Friendly front desk service and staff. The lobby was comfortable and homey. The lobby's lounge was equipped with a beautiful stone fire place that really added to the home like atmosphere. I enjoyed the option of taking the carpeted stairs to the second floor. It made for a unique experience of feeling at home when going from our room on the second floor to the open lobby for coffee and a plethora of breakfast options. The fitness center met all my needs with its treadmill, ellipticals, stationary bike, and a very nice multi gym. The room had everything you could ask for. Two queen sized beds, an arm chair, work station desk with a relaxing computer chair, a rather large mini fridge, a microwave and a nice tv. I loved that the bathroom's shower had three separate dispensers for shampoo, conditioner and body wash. It was incredibly convenient and the products were quality. I also enjoyed that the bathroom had a fan vent, which is becoming increasingly rare in hotels these days. All these amenities lead to a very comfortable and joyous stay. I very much look forward to my next visit here.

Clean and comfortable room with typical hotel style continental breakfast. Younger front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Not really a good area for walking as there are no sidewalks along the road.

We had previously stayed at this location when passing through Knoxville and decided to do so again. Samantha checked us in an upgraded out room to a King Suite right off of the lobby, which was our preference. Samantha was very pleasant, efficient and knowledgeable....an excellent representative for BW! Our room was clean, well maintained and stocked with plenty of nice towels. Overall, we had a very restful evening and departed before the free breakfast buffet was available. We had three concerns, by no means major, but they were enough to keep this from being a five star review. Water pressure was extremely low and made showering difficult. The soap and shampoo dispensers seem to be a trend in many hotels, but they are of no use when they are EMPTY, as was the case with the shampoo and body wash dispensers in our room. Lastly, the bed was extremely soft and sagged too much. A newer and firmer mattress was needed. Would we stay here again? Yes.

This is a nice place to stay. Comfortable bed and good pillows. Good location. We would definitely stay here again. It was mostly updated but could use new carpet or a good steam cleaning at least in the room we were in. It wasn't nasty, just stained. Other than that the room was clean and well kept. I definitely recommend bringing your own soap. They have the soap dispenser in the shower but it's not great. The person working the front desk was very nice and helpful. I definitely recommend this motel for the price.

How was breakfast? Breakfast is always good at this property. We used to tell everyone about the plates and silverware - only place we've ever seen this in many years! Sadly, the dishwasher was broken (like other things in this place), so it reverted to paper & plastic. Oh well. How about a new dishwasher, Best Western??? What problems did we encounter? TV/Remote, Room Lighting, Kiddie-size toilet, Broken Items/Repairs As we reported to the staff, the last time we stayed here we went through 3 remotes before they found one that worked. This time it was only 2. These remotes are TRASH. Replace them! We shouldn't have to troubleshoot a room when we first arrive - everything should be in working order, especially for the amount of money charged!! To add insult to injury, the lighting in the room is so bad that, when the TV remote didn't work, we had to spin the TV way around to try to read which button on the TV was what so we could manually operate the TV. How about lighting on both sides of the room? What was that about money? Upgrade your toilets from kiddie-size to ADA. We had bigger toilets when I was in kindergarten! The toilet stopped working (wouldn't fill up with water) the morning we were checking out. We informed the front desk of both problems; the lady didn't seem very concerned about any of it. Our advice to all: it seems housekeeping is no longer required to make sure everything is a room is working correctly. From now on we'll be getting into a room and turn on every light, the TV, the remote, run the water, flush the toilet, and anything else to make sure we have no surprises at midnight.

This was a half way stop for a fun trip to Nashville. We arrived late in the evening. Check in was quick. The rate for the hotel was a big draw. Clean, well kept facility. Nice size room, very comfortable bed. Good breakfast with nice selection. If ever in the area I would stay again.

‪This is absolutely the best hotel breakfast, hands down, by far. I didn't get pictures because I was too busy eating as mich as I possibly could. After a night of being intertwined in the to say the least, entertains night life that Knoxville has to offer. This place has a unique energy and I suggest it as a vacation destination and the breakfast at The Best Western is alone enough to make it where you want to stay. They also have a very open area with drinks and snacks and just by the fire place was a silent auction of sports memorabilia and Johnny Cash Memoir, very classy. The rooms were very clean too. And my oh my, look at all the food to choose from, they even had an outback steak right there within walking distance. Ten out of ten, we will be back.‬

Clean, nice. A pleasant place to stay. Near to stores, restaurants. Easy on and off the highways. Close to most attractions without being in too much traffic. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the Knoxville area.

Everything was just perfect. The breakfast is amazing. It's not the little breakfast you get at other hotels it's a full breakfast. Nothing like getting your day going with a nice full belly. Rooms are extremely clean and comfortable and the attendants are excellent. I will definitely stay there every time I go back

I travel to Knoxville several times a year for work and family. This property is close to where I need to be. I didn't hear any noise to prevent me from sleeping. Hot water and coffee were always available which was a nice surprise.

The staff at Best Western Plus were the best. So helpful and attentive of our needs. Yes, definitely would stay here again as the room was so big, cleaned and meet our situation. This was a medical visit and we needed a place to stay close to the facility.

Stopped for the night to get a bite to eat and rest. It was a nice area with lots of restaurants to choose from. We went to the Parkside Grill for dinner. Good service & food. It was advertised in the lobby. Nice choice.

After a long day on the road we really appreciated a clean room with some nearby restaurants. Breakfast bar was clean and filled with great food. I'd definitely recommend this Best Western to anyone seeking a good night's rest.

Despite my constructive feedback to improve the shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers in the showers, I still would rate my stay as highly as possible. My room was clean, large, and very comfortable (including the bed) and the service was outstanding. The complimentary breakfasts were quite good and related staff very accommodating. The Hotel Manager, Christine, went above and beyond to acquaint this 1st time Knoxville traveler with the area and made me very comfortable to be there as a solo traveler. Can't say enough about her; she's a great asset.

Very nice Best Western, clean, comfortable, easy access from interstate, very close to many restaurants and shopping. Believe it or not......I could not believe they provided real plates, bowls and silverware! WOW! NEVER seen this anywhere before! Food was good and the oatmeal almond waffle was out of this world! Nice array of complimentary things for your oatmeal, eggs and yogurt! Nice crisp bacon! Great breakfast before hitting the road again!

We stayed here for two nights. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast had hot and cold options - real china plates and silverware! Our room was clean and comfortable. Lots of restaurants and shopping close by. Will definitely stay here again.

My wife and I stayed at the Best Western Plus Cedar Bluff Inn. We booked the room after seeing all the positive TripAdvisor reviews, but this is the first time that those reviews have let me down. Our check-in was a slow process with a bored clerk, but we finally got it done. She said we could park in back, but they'd been having trouble with that door so she didn't know if it would work (we parked in front). The room made a good first impression. It was good sized with a king bed, couch and coffee table. The flat screen TV works fine but is a bit small. There is a fridge, microwave and one cup coffee maker. If you like coffee, this is the best you will do here. The coffee in the lobby is one of those old instant coffee makers that produce luke-warm, undrinkable coffee. The bed on my side (right) was good, but my wife's side was broken down and sloped out. If you are a CPAP user, bring an extension cord. I had to run one around the corner to an outlet by the sink. The room was clean except for the un-emptied trash in the bathroom. The toilet seat was broken. The shower has soap and shampoo dispensers. The shampoo was out. We told the clerk, but she didn't seem to concerned about it. Breakfast was ok, though the gravy for the biscuits was watery. The serving area was crowded, but the eating area has plenty of room. The say the devil's in the details and there were a lot of bad details here—enough so that we won't be back.

The lady who managed the breakfast provided by the hotel was truely excellent in her service. Her name is Loretta and she went the extra mile to help me and others get started to a great day. She was completely service oriented and helped everyone with a smile. And I just love the real plates and silverware the hotel provided...not paper or plastic plates and plastic ware that I have had to use at other locations on business trips. Loretta made the difference for me and the stay was excellent.

Stayed here one night on our journey across country, with a moving truck (Self-move, med. size truck), and had room to park it near back of hotel. Reception/check in and check out were both friendly and easy. We had a third floor room on the back side and it was nice and quiet. Beds were good, comfortable, clean, and enough pillows (some hotels have only given a couple squares per bed--this hotel provided normal, standard size pillows and some extra ones). Hot breakfast was also good, including waffle maker, oatmeal, eggs and meat, along with fresh fruit, yogurt, and standard dry items, juice and coffee. In room had mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Pleasant stay!

I keep coming back to this hotel because it is consistently clean, comfortable and hospitable. I called them directly to make the reservation and they matched the Priceline price. The breakfast was good. The swimming pool was wonderful after a hot day. The hotel is within walking distance of good restaurants. Wish there were sidewalks in the area.

We travel extensively for business, this stay was our 21st hotel night since the beginning of June. We've been doing this for almost 10 years. We book third party 90+-% of the time, and we stay in a fair number of BW Pluses. That being said, I have never come across someone as rude as I did at 1:30 in the morning at this hotel. We were dead tired having driven all the way from Kansas City. When checking in we asked for a king sized bed as we usually do. The younger guy working the counter was helping to set up that request. He even had us set in a king. Then the older blonde headed lady stepped in and told him “we don't have a king” he said yes we do see. She then proceeded to tell us we booked through a third party so we will get what they give us. I just don't get the animosity towards people who book third party or the hatefulness that went along with the request. It was a simple request for a bed type. We weren't asking for an upgrade. The rooms were priced the exact same. I didn't choose a room type in my booking, but have never had someone flat out deny a bed type request just because I booked third party. If you don't want third party bookings, stop offering them up. Don't be rude to your customers and treat them like second class guests because other hotels don't do that. I can assure you, you are in the minority of hotels, most never even mention my booking status. As for the hotel itself. Definitely NOT up to par with most BW Plus properties we've stayed at. It is not modern, the furniture is Mia matched and in poor shape, and our toilet didn't flush without sticking our hand in the tank because the chain was broken—gross. We would have called about the last item but we were exhausted and had to leave by 8am so we had no time to wait for maintenance. We needed to sleep and get to our appointments in Charlotte. The bed was comfortable and I did sleep well. One final note, unlike the photos on the hotel's website this hotel does not offer triple sheeted beds. For some reason they choose to top their beds with some kind of brown, thin material that does nothing for the room but make you wonder how often it is washed.

Ladies watch left in room, was retrieved & delivered to our house the next day. Excellent service. Our stay was while traveling to a family reunion and we were returning home a week later. The location was further away from the interstate highway & our room was on the first floor for noise reduction.

Great place to stop with a wonderful breakfast for a motel. It is somewaht hard to get to but worth the effort. This is one of the better Best Westerns. Will stop here angain if I am in the locale for any reason.

We have stayed at this motel a few times during our trips to visit my son's family. The staff is always very friendly. The breakfast is filled with options and tastes great. My husband said this was probably one of the better nights sleep he has had in a motel. Even with the busy holiday travel the room was quiet.

We checked in pretty late but were greeted very kindly and courteously by the staff. Since it was so late we didn't get a chance to use the pool. It was very quiet. The bathrooms and rooms were very clean. Since we arrived so late she extended us a late checkout which was much appreciated. I would def recommend this hotel to stay for the evening.

I stopped for an overnight stay at a time when the hotel and city were extremely full. This property was in a safe and convenient location but still had a few reasonably priced rooms available. My 1st Room was clean and comfortable but there was a family in the adjoining Room that with quite loud. I went to the front desk and asked to be moved but did not get my hopes up because again the property was nearly full.Lea greeted me with a smile and was very understanding. She searched and was able to find another room for me no problem. The front desk was busy but she was so patient , I had a long day and this was much appreciated. Thank You Lea for you outstanding hospitality and first class customer service !I highly recommend and will be staying here again.

I had a an awesome stay here for a comedy show! It hard paying for hotels when you're performing for food and drink but #ignitehospitalityservices made the last couple weeks doable and enjoyable for me! Thanks so much for a clean and accommodating room!

My elderly mother (who does NOT like to travel) and I had a wonderful experience last week at this Knoxville BW property when we were traveling for medical appointments. Each request my mother had was immediately and satisfactorily solved, and we couldn't be happier. I will definitely consider BW properties for my future travels based on this excellent experience and I would book at this property again.

From the moment I entered the lobby I knew I'll be coming back next time I visit Knoxville. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. The room came furnished with everything I needed: refridgerator, microwave, hair drier, and plenty of outlets. I took full advantage of the pool, the fitness room, and a great breakfast. Would recommend.

One of the Best Westerns I've been to. Front desk was incredibly helpful in getting a room located where I needed. Rooms were quiet and the hotel is convenient to all sorts of shopping and hotels. Internet was fast and TV was fine.

I attended a concert in downtown Knoxville, and Cedar Bluff was only about 15 minutes away. A very easy drive, and the hotel was in a bustling area with TONS of shopping and restaurant options in the area! The hotel room looked brand new... I nice huge bed that was plush like you'd find at a much more expensive chain, and the bathroom was modern and very clean. HUGE TV that I could plug my ROKU into, but I ended up falling right to sleep! I would definitely stay here again! They had free breakfast, but I didn't wake up in time!

Just off the very busy interstate system west of Knoxville, TN, this Best Western is tucked into a light commercial development with super restaurants and little to no weekend traffic. It's quiet and peaceful. Super hot breakfast and very pleasant atmosphere.

I loved everything about this hotel. The entire staff went out of their way to make sure you were happy and comfortable. The rooms were spacious and the fridge and microwave very nice sized. THE LOCATION IS AWESOME. Several different kinds of restaurants in the area and so so easy to get in and out of!!!! LOVED IT!!!!! Definitely my "go to" place when I stay in Knoxville!!!!! =)

Booked this hotel on Sept 3 2018 for one night June 3rd to June 4t, 2019. After driving 14 hours, we checked in, were given a room which had a king bed and a love seat. Went to the desk, questioned why I booked two queens but got a king. Was told, sorry we're full. Unable to find another hotel room nearby, and not wanting to continue on to Nashville, I went to the car to get pillows and blankets (since none were provided) for someone to attempt to sleep on the couch. As I walked to my car, a bus with a large high school group pulled up, apparently their money was better than mine. Not the Best Western, deserves the Worst Customer Service award. Will not happen again, as I will NEVER stay at a Best Western again. With so many hotel choices, there are plenty others that will take my money and honor my reservation.

Such a great place to stay! They had a friendly staff, Leah at the front desk was super nice and helpful. The room was great with comfy beds and the sheets were so soft. The bathroom was clean and the shower pressure was to die for! We had fun in the pool and the towels poolside we a great touch. Definitely would stay here again and recommend.

Clean rooms, excellent shower, very good handicapped accessible facility, internet needs a more simplistic approach to connect, bed was very soft and reclining chair was very small and uncomfortable. Office chair was also uncomfortable. However, the room was clean, air conditioning worked extremely well since it was 91 degrees our last day there.

Even though Ii booked the wrong date, they were gracious and had a room for us. It was a convenient location, very nice room, comfortable beds, clean and quiet. The price was very good, would stay here again.

From its convenient location, courteous and professional staff, clean and spacious rooms to its ample breakfast offerings, this property has earned my repeat business. As a leisure traveler who stays at Best Western properties throughout the US 50 to 70 times per year, I have broad and varied experience with the chain and this property is one to which I return whenever in the Knoxville area. Repeat business is the highest recommendation any guest can provide and this property gets mine.

As a fan of Best Western's mostly successful efforts to revive this chain from an image that was once anything but plus, I have never been sold on this rebranding of some properties as a Plus; if one was and one wasn't, what does it say about those other worthy Best Westerns? Sometimes, I couldn't tell the difference and even preferred such an BW to a BW Plus facility. Maybe some TA reviewers may want to weigh in. This property may well settle one question. I have always loved Knoxville which, unlike its high-living cousins in Louisville, has always seemed to live up to a quieter standard of family and community values; its own growth may have reflected such a preference for such peaceful scenery. That has not been the case for its overburdened hotel and downtown properties. They fill up quickly and high overnight rates tend to follow. If you don't have immediate business or other demands downtown, this suburban location is a calming and attractive alternative. So much so that I made it a coming and going destination on a recent trip to North Carolina. The first impression is similar to one of those office and big box malls, but it's a different story within: a handsome two-story lobby and fireplace, plenty of warmth and original artworks, a welcoming front desk and luxury room accommodations. The breakfast buffet is a full kitchen creative effort: it takes up almost three rooms that is almost loving and fussy in its attention. P.S. You can depend on the home fitness center, too. Just down the hill is one of the area's most popular restaurants, the Parkside Grill, which is what both its names suggest: the locals outnumber the BW visitors by an easy guess of 100/1. So it's a great way to stay in touch with Knoxville and have a good night's visit and sleep as well. If that isn't what Plus is, what is?

Decided to stay here on our way to Florida. This was about the halfway point for us. Check in was a snap. When we got to the room it was super clean and nice. We had to turn on the a/c right away because it was warm in the room. So we went to dinner to let it cook down. When we got back it was a very comfortable temperature. The beds are quite firm if you like that type. We had a great sleep but in the morning the traffic can be loud since it's near the highway. The shower has great water pressure and they are equipped with shampoo, conditioner and body wash if you forget to bring some. Towels and wash cloths are also of good quality. The free breakfast is really what sets this place apart from the others. Scrambled eggs, potatoes, breakfast sausage, waffle maker, pancake maker, juice, coffee etc etc etc. It was all great! And they have such a friendly staff. Loretta and Victoria were so nice and wished us well on our trip. Also of note is how fresh and clean the whole building smells. We will definitely be staying here on the way back!

The hotel is nestled in between several other hotels and restaurants, yet at the same time it is very peaceful. The staff is attentive, friendly and courteous. The hotel has a new lobby, rooms are nicely decorated, ample space, quiet and very comfortable beds. There are refrigerators and microwaves in each room. Breakfast is delicious and many choices for a customer from fruits to waffles. Eggs, meat and potatoes were also offered. Cookies were at the reception area in the late afternoon. Prices are reasonable and staff is great!

Our mom was moved from another city to Park West ICU off Cedar Bluff, Rd, Knoxville. Arrived very late. We tried booking nearby hotels online but couldn't book for that night since it was after midnight, we were exhausted. Daughter called The Best Western Plus near the hospital and the hostess said, just come on and we'll take of them. They put us in a king room, that was clean, nice size and comfortable! The next day we had other family members come join us and they managed to put them into the adjoining room. It was perfect going back and forth to the hospital all day long. They extended as we needed and so very helpful each and every time (thank you Debbie!). The breakfast was very good, the rooms clean and comfortable, the location great and they were so very helpful and all staff were friendly. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Exterior & lobby very clean in a busy area with lots of restaurants shopping in area. On this visit i had to change rooms because the bed had peanuts in it but the beds are very uncomfortable. The breakfast was good & staff was friendly.

Great staff. Very spacious room with king bed and conveniently located in the hotel. Amply parking. Spacious lobby and breakfast room. Conveniently located in Knoxville with lots of nearby restaurants and shopping. We were in Room 201 which was very quiet. Good comfortable bedding with a sitting area, desk and chair, lots of good lighting, refrigerator, microwave, super clean carpeting with a separate vanity area. A/C was poor as it only went down to 68 deg and the room temp was at 73 during the night. I cannot sleep when it is so warm. We ended up getting a fan and that helped somewhat. I did report it to the desk employee the following morning and she simply made a note of it. Not much customer service there without an apology. Breakfast had a variety of different foods but some of it was really poor. The sausage links were reheated to the point that a person couldn't cut it. Inedible. Almost cold and dry scrambled but if you added butter and heated it up in the microwave it was ok. The potatoes were the frozen kind, diced without anything in it or maybe onion. It was hard to tell but it needed to be cooked more and browned. Not many people chose it. Fresh English muffins, danish pastries, mini muffins, fresh hot biscuits, cereals, fruit, tea, coffee, juices, make your own waffles were all good. So no one went home hungry. We will come back again but will bring our own breakfast since there is a microwave and refrigerator in the room. TIP: Limit the breakfast items but have decent, hot and fresh meat, potatoes and eggs.

Checked last and it was excellent! The staff on night shift & day shift is amazing I really like coming. It really does feel away from home and comfortable, so the next time You come to Knoxville, TN stay @ Best Western Plus!

Our stay at the Cedar Bluff Inn was wonderful! The hotel is extremely clean & comfortable. Hotel management and staff were very accommodating in our early arrival. Loads of restaurants & shopping nearby, as well as a movie theater which ended up working out nicely since it was a rainy day. Wish it wasn't raining during our stay, because the pool looked awesome! Will definitely be coming back.

This hotel is older but it seems like they've done some updates. The staff was very friendly and the check in/check out process was easy. The AC was nice and cold and the room was clean. The bed was a little too soft my my taste but my husband said he thought it was very comfortable. The hotel was quite and if we were driving through we'd stay here again. The only downside was the faint smell of cigarette smoke throughout the whole building. Everything said no smoking but maybe it was allowed before. That's the only negative we had and the reason why I gave it 4 stars.

We made this stop to make our travel day shorter and have not stayed here before. It was a real pleasure to check in and feel so welcomed. Hotel seems very profession and friendly. Breakfast was very good and Connor (person responsible for breakfast food and set-up) came by our table to ask how everything was - that is a very welcome first from the BW's we have stayed at. Overall agree location and we have it on our map as a preferred stop in the future.

I have the option to stay wherever I want with my company and this hotel and staff is the best. Best Western on Cedar Bluff is a very clean well maintained hotel with people who know how to take care of you. The staff treats you like you are a king!

Best Western Plus Cedar Bluff Inn provided great service. Room was clean and free from musty smells and loud noises. Staff was friendly. I would highly recommend this hotlel to all our friends and associates.

I have not stayed at many Best Western Plus hotels and this trip we stayed at two. This one was great. Just like the first one we stayed in near Louisville... Smelled clean. Shower was great water pressure. Breakfast was simple but definitely tasted good. Check in was simple and easy and they were accommodating. I would stay here every time I travel through the area. This hotel is a fantastic cheaper option to Hamption or HIExpress.

I stayed at this hotel for five nights. My stay was fine for the most part. There were a number of things I found that suggested I was staying in a budget hotel instead of an award winning Best Western location. The room, number 107, was sorely outdated. The bathroom door was almost too narrow. I'm average sized and I still had to turn sideways to enter. If the bathroom door wasn't closed, your business was easily seen from the outside hallway when room door was open. The shower curtain rod was attached to two large wooden blocks that stood in stark contrast to the outdated wallpaper. All caulking around the shower insert needed replacement. Instead of bottles of shampoo, conditioner and the like, a dispenser on the foot end of the tub made it difficult to get much of any hygienic liquids. A well used king mattress and box spring sat atop a plain wood support. All the furniture was outdated and worn. The fold out couch was very uncomfortable and so worn out it was unsit-able. Tape on the under window dual air system was held together together by dated painters tape. The window was a thin double pane glass that allowed much of the highway noise to roar into the room. Finally, the top drawer of the armoir/entertainment cabinet was broken and crooked, making getting your clothes a chore. Outside the room and down the hall both breaker boxes for the floor, if not the hotel, were not only in view to the public but unlocked and easily accessible. The staff, though engage-able, appeared bored, tired and at times catatonic. More than once breakfast workers butted in front of me to replace food items or clean, as if they didn't even see me. Food was standard fare with the exception of some being cool and barely cooked, making it inedible. A highlight of breakfast was oatmeal, flaxseed waffles. Best Western Plus Cedar Bluffs Inn is an easy stay and the closest BW to Lenoir City. However, for the price point, another hotel chain with a similar $100 rate might be a more comparable option.

As a traveler full time . This is a very superb place I see no issues with nothing upgraded us with no problems free breakfast was good. I'd you have complaints about this place something is seriously wrong about you....

This BW is in need of serious repair, the bed had a crater, just a worn out place. Not your typical BW friendly location, the only positive thing about this location was the breakfast employee. Very friendly with a decent breakfast selection

The hotel has a wonderful staff. The breakfast are excellent. Rooms could use a bit of work. Beds are comfortable. Nice and quite. We like that there are no pets allowed. I realize this turns some folks away, however, there are those who prefer not be around pets in a closed in environment. Access the Oarkwest hospital is easy and a quick commute.

Stayed at the Best Western Plus in Knoxville. When i flipped overs the blankets to go to bed, i found a few bugs, all were dead except one. Called the front desk, unfortunately there wasn't another room with 2 doubles. So we ended up moving to a king and pullout sofa. They couldn't offer compensation because I booked online with #expedia. I'm still waiting for #Expedia to call me back, which was supposed to come 4 hrs after I called.

Stayed 4 days ,all but one morning breakfast was always out of something. Too many people for space.battery operated lights in elevator still there when left 4 days later.toilet rocked when you sit on it.hotel needs updates bad.

We stayed overnight during the Bassmaster Classic. The staff was friendly, but the hotel was not as impressive as the reviews I read. The hotel elevator had no working lights and battery operated camping lanterns were hanging from the corners, so riding the elevator was akin to a cave tour. The thermostat in our hotel room had a paper bag taped to it that told you it was "not working" and the room was only partially cleaned. I'm not sure what the issue was with the toilet, but it was literally only a few inches off the ground... very similar to a toilet you would find in an older model RV. Anyone with mobility issues would not be able to use it at all. Our room number was 209, so I would suggest requesting a different room unless these issues sound appealing. With the uncomfortable beds, roaring traffic outside the hotel and guests running down corridor during the night we barely slept at all. The breakfast was good, but seating in the breakfast area was very limited. The stairwell was very dirty when we arrived and more so the next morning. Unfortunately, this is an open stairwell from the lobby to the second floor and it had food ground in the carpet. (Probably from folks that couldn't find a seat in the breakfast area and carried food to their room.) This was our first stay at a Best Western and we will avoid a return visit. There were many other hotels in the same area I would book before staying here again.

We always like to stay at best western, this was nice, we are on16 day trip, we plan it to wash clothes, $2.25 wash $2.25 to dry. The clerk gave us take out menus, we ate Mamma Mia Italian restaurant. Excellent good. I wanted to recognize Collin the breakfast server, whom took pride in what he made. The breakfast had a good selection to choose from. I notice at this one had a conference room with a event going on. At night they have cookies, coffee tea and oatmeal. The only thing is the lights in the elevator did not work they had 2 small camplights, which I found as a safety issue

Overall enjoyed stay. Hotel was quite well decorated and throughly enjoyed the entry fresh flower banquet. Breakfast was well prepared only questionable schedule or habit, that would be days that beacon was not present for breakfast(I am a breakfast and beacon lover. It's un-American not to have beacon daily)

If you need a hotel in the area look no farther. Clean, quite, friendly helpful staff and a great breakfast. Lots of interesting places to eat nearby and easy to find. My wife and I stayed there as we were traveling thru the area and we were really impressed by how helpful and friendly the staff was.

Victoria -- Was fantastic ! Her wonderful personality and helpfulness was so refreshing . She was a breathe of fresh air in the early morning hours of breakfast. Always asking what she could do and refill .

Checked into Cedar Bluff Inn/Best Western Plus late after a show and the staff was wonderful. Our room was warm, in great condition & supplied everything needed for a comfortable stay. They provide hot water for tea and freshly brewed coffee 24 hours a day as well as a full breakfast every morning. The location is very convenient to all things Knoxville. We would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone starting in or passing through the city.

We always stay here - it is easy to get to UT for the basketball and football games we go to. We are able to check in early (usually) so we can check in and get to the start of the games. Breakfast is good and I like that they have real plates and not paper plates.

Stayed here for 1 night in January on my way up to Pennsylvania. Got there late (around 1AM) and the check-in process and quick and painless. I wish I remembered the woman at the desk's name, because she was super friendly and helpful. Room has everything you'd expect from a hotel in this price range. I got a room with 2 beds, a nice desk, and a kitchenette with microwave/fridge. This has become my go-to spot to crash in Knoxville if I'm there for a night or two. Can't wait to be back!

We arrived late, and after a fatiguing day of travel, we were met with a courteous, helpful, and professional team member named Brook. We were very impressed with her service. The rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. The bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. We travel a lot, and this was one of our best experiences. We would highly recommend Best Western Plus in Knoxville, TN!

This is a bit of a tired hotel in need of some work. I like to use the fitness facilities when travelling and found theirs to consist of old equipment and the tv didn't work in the fitness room and was apparently unfixable. Hotel is reasonably priced however

Our room was very clean and all amenities worked well. Beds were comfortable and the staff was very accommodating. There is a variety of good restaurants nearby. We just wish that there were sidewalks since my husband and I prefer to walk to our eating establishment once we park our car. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Room access is an inside hallway (two floors). Everything worked just fine. Fridge and microwave and TV make staying there very much like home away from home. Beds were comfortable. The breakfast spread was very good with lots of hot and "cold" choices.

I stay at this property at least once a year. It is comfortable, clean, competitively priced, and conveniently located. I wish there were sidewalks in neighborhood as there are plenty of shopping and dining opportunities within walking distance but they can be difficult and sometimes dangerous to walk to. I will be returning to the Best Western Plus Cedar Bluff Inn.

The hotel is a little tricking to get to off the highway (it's a pretty quick right across 4 lanes of traffic from a left turn from the off ramp) and tucked pretty far down on the road. The bathrooms needs a DEEP clean (mold on the ceiling and in the tile grout) and the comforters should be burned that are so stained and oily. The breakfast selection is pretty standard fare but manages to be pretty inedible--even the juice! But it's cheap and the staff is sweet so if you're just there to lay your head down for 8 hours (like I did), it'll meet your needs and budget, though perhaps not your tastes.

beside being a good place to rest they offer hot cookies at the front desk. this is above and beyond most places i stay and i travel 3 weeks out of every month all over the US. have had one other BW that does this near McCook Il. both place are well located for my needs. enjoy the small things in life.

I often judge a hotel based on beds. This hotel had attractive rooms, adequate in size that were clean and had good king beds. Not too hard and not soft. The front desk people were friendly and gave me the extra blanket and pillow I had asked for . The breakfast was as expected with both hot and cold foods available. It was very near the time of shutting down, and the sausage had run out, but they brought out a new tray, which I was surprised a bit by. The things that I didn't like as much are nitpicking, but I will mention. I asked for a room away from road noise, and got a room we could hear the I-40 traffic all night. It is possible the hotel is so close, in all rooms you can hear the trucks go by. There were no three prong electrical outlets near the bed that did not have a lamp or radio plugged in, so bring an extension cord if you need to plug in a heating pad or other thing , like I did. Some people like those dispensers in the bathtub for shampoo, etc, but if you are older like me, they are impossible to read what is in them, and very hard to push . Also, if you like a soft or flatter pillow, bring your own. The bed is quite comfortable, however and should suit most people. All in all, this is an attractive and clean hotel, with good beds.

I recently had surgery and needed a room with a special shower and this hotel was perfect! It was perfectly accessible for me in all ways. The staff was friendly and helpful, the bed was extremely comfortable, the internet worked perffectly and the breakfast eggs were soft and fluffy. No complaints at all here!

I recently spent two well-rested nights at the Best Western Plus Cedar Bluff Inn. I had two very exhausting days of work, and could not be more thankful for the peaceful stay waiting for me in Knoxville. With comfortable beds, and an incredibly hospitable staff who got me checked in quickly & was incredibly attentive even though I checked in super late the first night (night staff to me always tells you just how good a hotel is, and this Best Western Plus really earned 5 stars from me in that department!). I wish I'd had some extra time to check out the pool, it was clean & inviting outside, and the gym was cozy & ready to use inside. The free breakfast was tasty & warm, a perfect way to get my day started. It was nice to be a few miles out of town to avoid the noise of the city. The next time I come through Knoxville, this will definitely be where I stay!

On our way to Pigeon Forge from Louisiana we stayed here for 1 night. The hotel and room was very clean, front desk friendly and breakfast was good enough. The toilet was kinda low to the ground but not that big of a deal.

We always stay at Best Western hotels whenever we travel. This particular hotel was not up to BW standards. The bathroom tub faucet leaked. The soap and shampoo dispensers in the shower were almost empty and hard to pump. The bed was very high and I had to almost jump onto it. At5:30 am, the alarm went off. No idea if it was a fire or other emergency. Only after my spouse went to the lobby (others were there as well), did we find out that there was a short in the alarm system. The alarm rang for about 10 minutes before it went off. When we went to breakfast at 8:30 am (it ended at 9 am), the selections were minimal as they were either out of some items or didn't replenish them. Servers never checked to see. There were no eggs, potatoes were awful, the sausage was overdone and inedible, counters were not clean, etc.

This was a really nice hotel off of I-40 right outside of Knoxville. It was probably about 10 miles outside of downtown. The staff was really polite and got us promptly checked in. Christine was the manager on duty and was very helpful. The rooms we large and clean and perfect after we had been on the road since 6 am that morning. There was a fridge, iron, and hair dryer which were nice amenities. I usually skip out on the free breakfast in the morning but I got up for this one and it was much better than most I have woken up for. There was good coffee and free newspapers and some extra fruit to grab for the road. We'll defintely be staying here again when we're in East Tennessee.

This hotel is great. Good breakfast, comfortable beds and super clean rooms. Great customer service and housekeeping. Close to highway and less than 20 min front Knoxville. 45 min. from Pigeon Gorge. Overall great location.

Spent two nights at this hotel on the way to South Carolina from Missouri. The first night was September 27 and the second was October 3. Neither visit was memorable and that's actually a good thing. We made reservations for late arrival times and everything went smoothly. The employees at the desk were friendly and not in a phony way - they were simply nice people. The foyer was clean, the rooms were nice, the parking lot was easy to navigate, and the free breakfast was nicely prepared and offered a little something for anyone. The only room for improvement would be to serve better hash browns. It's been a long time since I stayed at a hotel where everything seemed to click. The Best Western Cedar Bluff Inn ranks as one of the best stops I've ever made and I've made a lot stops in more than 40 years of travel. It's worth mentioning that while searching for a hotel, I read a lot of reviews on TripAdvisor and other sites. Since the reviews for this property mostly averaged in the four out of five range, I settled on this hotel. When I called to make my first night's reservation – about a week in advance – I was told the rate was $159. However, while speaking to the young lady on the desk, I asked if she would Google what I saw... she did... and she gave me the rate I found, which was $74 a night. Upon arrival on night one, I asked the young lady who checked us in if she would make another reservation for the second night and would she extend the same rate? She checked her bookings, said rooms were available, she would extend the rate, and we were set for the return. We even got the same rooms. The entire staff (housekeeping, front desk, food service, and maintenance) was friendly and I'm sure they encounter some crusty and crabby travelers. Had I waked in a bad mood, it would have gone away in a hurry. There were fresh cookies on the counter and nice person on the other side of the counter. I really like this place and would stay here again if I'm down that way.

This is a very well kept Hotel with a friendly staff and updated rooms. Overall we had a very pleasant stay and would stay here again. The only negative comments I could make would be about the breakfast. The eggs, bacon, sausage, Etc. We're just way too overcooked. They had biscuits and gravy and the gravy really wasn't very good. I know the breakfast is free or included with the price of the room, but we've had a little bit better breakfast experiences at other Best Western Hotels. Again, we would certainly stay here again.

This hotel has some things going for it, but it also has some negatives. First of all the staff is courteous, friendly and care about providing good service. The house keeping staff does a good job to keep it clean. It is located near the interstate and various excellent restaurants are nearby. The executive rooms have a semi kitchen with a dishwasher, so you could do a little microwave cooking if you are on an extended stay. The hotel appears to be 80's vintage, but it has been renovated at some time in the past. The negatives. The dark furnishings in the room suck the light up. The air conditioning! The first room we were assigned had the air conditioner disassembled, with parts spread across the floor. A bad sign and back to the front desk, for a different room. When we opened the door to the new room (214) we smelled a slight musty mildew smell. Or, the room may have been a smokers room at some time in it's past and they just couldn't quite get all the smell out. It was a cool rainy day when we stayed. The room was warm when we walked in. The thermostat had been set to 68. Another bad sign. I set the temp a 60 and the AC worked hard to just barely keep the room cool. After about 4 hours it cooled down to about 72 and we were able to have a comfortable nights sleep. Had the temperatures out side been in the 90's this room would have never gotten cool. Some of the musty smell was coming from the A/C so, my guess is the coils need to be cleaned to allow better air circulation and eliminate the smell. When you stay, make sure you are happy with the heat and air conditioning before you get too settled in. Other than that, this is a pretty good place to stay.

We had a great night's sleep in this Best Western. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were spacious, with our four people we didn't feel like we were too cramped together. The room had all the amenities we needed and when we ran out of towels, the staff brought more to our room. They were very accommodating! Checking in was easy and they made us feel very welcome. They also serve Community Coffee which I appreciate since we were coming from New Orleans. The coffee was great and we loved their coffee station. The whole set up in the lobby was actually very spacious and everything was easy to access. We had a really nice time and we can't wait to stay here next time we are coming through Knoxville!

Stayed here in early September and had no problems. Easy check in and they happily accommodated a late check out. Clean and well taken care of property with a friendly staff. Good location with easy access to Knoxville. Would happily stay here again.

This property is killer and everything you might expect from a Best Western Plus and more. First of all, this property is in the perfect location near the interstate and right in the middle of plenty of dining and shopping options. Plenty of parking was available for larger vehicles. Desk attendant was super friendly and accommodating to a late check-in. The decor and color scheme was friendly and inviting; everything about it made me feel comfortable. The complimentary hot breakfast was exceptionally amazing and featured all of the favorites including biscuits, eggs, sausage and home fries. Other highlights were the optional almond milk and the fact that grits were offered which made me feel at home as I'm from NC. Also - real plates and silverware were offered which is always a treat when you live on the road. Lest I forget, this place had the best premium soap products of all time! Couldn't have asked for a better experience here and definitely will be back. Thanks team for the great experience.

This hotel was just okay. The constant noise from the highway made for sleepless nights. The mattress was warm. The fitness room was stuffy. It had a machine oil smell and the exercise equipment needs repair, as it would not reset for a new workout. The TV remote was missing from the fitness room too. The staff members were out front smoking often. Smoking should not be permitted by the entrance doors. We will not stay here again on future trips to Knoxville.

Enjoyed our stay here recently. Rooms were clean and housekeeping did a nice job. No complaints. Breakfast was actually pretty good and had a nice selection. The staff were super nice and kept everything stocked. Management should be proud of staff. All in all a very good stay. Recommend.

I was not a fan of this hotel. It seemed old and dated. Our room smelled of stale cigarette smoke. There were hairs on the beds and small dead bugs in the bathroom. We were in room 327. I wish we had just left but because I couldn't sleep since I was so worried the whole time. I got up early just to get out of there. We skipped the free breakfast just to not have to spend another second at the hotel. It just felt dirty and gross!

Overall appearance is old and dilapidated. Smells like used to be a smoking hotel. Only one clerk and one vending machine by front desk for bottled water, etc. No dollies available to help transport suitcases up to our floor. The electricity went out right after we had everything unloaded into our 3rd floor room. They told us they had put a call into an electrician, but at already 10pm, we didn't want to take the chance it would be a long fix, so we asked for a refund. The hotel clerk was very nice, called the manager and they did grant a refund. We found another hotel close by that was much nicer for only $8 more.

Stayed here for 1 night in July 2018 on my way through Knoxville. Check-in was quick and painless. My room was right next to the lobby but there were never any noise problems, which was nice. Breakfast was a little crowded (they kept running out of food), but the staff was working hard to keep everything stocked. Great place to crash for the night, and I look forward to stopping here next time I'm in town.

This hotel is clean, comfortable, conveniently located and super friendly. The manager of this property has a real sense of guest relations. Our room was very clean with ample supplies and plenty of towels. The bed was a comfortable king in a fairly spacious room. We had control of our room temperature so we didn't freeze or burn up. The swimming pool is not huge but it's larger than many hotel pools. Our grandkids swam in it for hours and had a wonderful time. There are plenty of chairs around the pool area for the adults who prefer chatting to a rollicking game of Marco Polo. A nice touch is the clean towels the hotel supplies for use at the pool. We loved the location. There are many good restaurants near by and the Interstate is easily accessed. Even though we were surrounded by the city we enjoyed a very peaceful stay as the hotel is set back on a quiet and very pretty little side street. We were very pleased with the hotel staff. The check in was fast and Will did not become flustered when several people arrived at the same time. He gave us all his undivided attention and made us feel like we were welcome guests. At breakfast the staff kept the food containers filled and then came around to ask if we had any questions or problems with our breakfast. We reserved our room with air miles and that was not a problem at all. We come to Knoxville often to visit family and we will happily stay here again.

Breakfast was lacking and did not taste good. Room needs updated but was clean. Location is good. Staff at checkin did not know how to process my BW travel card. Bed was not comfortable. Not a Plus quality BW.

Clean, good service, and a nice place to stay. I had a group stay here. The Sales Director and General Manager named Tara and all of the staff were informative, answered many questions, gave us information about Knoxville, and was interested in what we were up to. In addition, they gave us complimentary water bottles on our first night of staying there. They had a nice, clean property. Keep up the good work. I would definitely stay here again if I am in town. My entire group was very happy and pleased with the service they got.

Upgraded my room to executive suite because they were working on the elevator...nice touch. Elevator was working couple hours later and I enjoyed the room size. Clean hotel and I didnt have any problems

We spent Sunday evening here on our way home from visiting family in Richmond, VA. After reading the TripAdvisor reviews when searching for a location to spend the night I was convinced we'd have a good experience at the BW+ Cedar Bluff Inn, and it turns out I was correct. When I made the reservation, I had asked for a first floor room and was being assigned a third floor room at check-in. I asked the young lady if she had any first floor rooms available and she said yes and changed our room. We were given room 115, which is marked as an Executive Suite....and is was very nice. I was spacious, had a king bed as requested and was ultra clean and quite. We enjoyed a good night's sleep in a very comfortable bed. We are early risers and were ready to hit the road by 6 am. Much to our surprise, the free breakfast was ready and people were already eating when we walked by. After looking over the breakfast offering, we noted it was far superior to what is normally provided at most BW's. Lots of choices....fresh fruit, better pastries, two kinds of waffle batter, and nicely prepared steam table items including bacon, scrambled eggs, crispy hash browns and good biscuits. Overall, we had an excellent stay. The facility, grounds and rooms are very clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and attentive. And the room rate was only $87 (but taxes added another 18%) to that. I highly recommend this BW property.

The Best Western Plus/Cedar Bluff in Knoxville, TN is conveniently located for eating and shopping and only 15 minutes from Market Square. There was a restaurant guide in the room and the desk staff was very friendly upon check in. My kids really enjoyed the inground, outdoor pool. After all the time in the car, the exercise room was a life saver! The double queen bedroom was spacious. The shower pressure was exceptional! (Something you don't find in every hotel.) Breakfast is included, and this is the first hotel I've seen with almond milk as a breakfast option. As an almond milk fan, I was happy.

Clean and comfortable, great hot breakfast and helpful and knowledgeable staff. This Inn is surrounded with restaurants for every taste. From the finest dining to burgers, you can find it here! Located just off Interstate I-40, you're in the misdt of great shopping and just minutes away from the Great Smoky Mountains!

I checked out this hotel on TripAdvisor when we getting close to where we wanted to stop for the night. I already had decided I was going to call them but had picked up some brochures at the Tennessee welcome center. There was a coupon that ended up getting 30.00 off!! The staff was friendly, the room clean, bed comfortable & price included a hot breakfast with sausage & bacon. I had already booked the Best Western Plaza in Pigeon Forge, so was glad this one turned out to be good.

Our stay at BW Plus Cedar Bluff Inn was short but we enjoyed every minute, our big king bed was SUPER comfy, the lobby layout was nice and the staff welcoming and kind. We had a great experience and would be glad to stay again!

Nice hotel, modestly priced, very cordial service and very, very good breakfast [first day lots & lots of bacon, eggs, etc.--- 2nd day was similar but lots & lots of sausage, etc.] typical waffles- but delicious, lots of other breakfast items and staff kept up with everything, including smiles. Breakfast area had very limited seating so 1st day took food to room to eat- but managed, 2nd day was able to sit comfortably in breakfast area. Hotel was clean, comfortable, reasonably priced & service was very, very good. On the negative side: Wanted to go Knoxville area- so called Best Western 800 number for info. Booked the hotel anyway and found out everything their national headquarters told me was wrong.

This is an excellent place to stay. We really enjoyed the hotel. It was beautiful and quiet. The room was extremely nice and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was excellent, as well. We really enjoyed our stay here.

I stayed at this hotel for a business trip 06/10-06/13/2018. This hotel was nowhere near what the pictures showed online. The carpet in the hallways and rooms is very worn and show black traffic patterns where people have walked repeatedly. The hallway walls very damaged, had scars and deep cuts in them. The grout in the tile was stained. The wall paper in the bathroom is peeling, the water pressure is so low it makes taking a shower a chore to get the soap off. The towels are well used and throughout my stay showed excessive wear and stains on them. The mattress was quite firm and I woke up each morning with lower back pain as a result. The AC in the room is quite loud and makes it hard to hear the television without having the volume turn way up. On Tuesday, when I returned from working, I arrived to find my room was not cleaned. I inquired at the front desk and was told that since I was staying another night my room would be cleaned last. When I questioned, the front desk employee why they would make a returning guests room wait until last to be cleaned when check in is not until 4pm. She could not give me an answer, nor did she apologize. She then stated she will check to see when she can get housekeeping to my room and would call me. The front desk clerk never called nor notified me of when to expect housekeeping. I informed the front desk clerk after working all day, I should not have to deal with my room not being cleaned or having to accommodate housekeeping after being gone all day. Again, no response! I returned to my room and about 15 minutes later a housekeeper should up. I could not see her name, but her hair was bright pink. She changed my towels, took out the garbage but did nothing else. Didn't wipe down the bathroom, vacuum the floors or anything. At this point, I was done with the entire issue. On her way out, she informed me that they are very busy and sometimes it takes longer to get rooms cleaned and my room was her bosses to clean so she was helping her out. Each day after returning to the hotel their were always 3-5 guys at the entrance sitting on the bench or standing at the doors drinking beer. The bright spot of the stay was the gentleman that handled breakfast. Always polite, helpful and smiling. He did an excellent job keeping things stocked and cleaned. I would not recommend this hotel for traveling for business or an extended stay. Best suited for a one-night stay at the most. A real disappointment.

We recently stayed at this Best Western, and it was great. The hotel is very centrally located to the highway, which was wonderful for us since we'd been traveling all day. The lobby is super clean and nice, and the free breakfast was top notch. Our rooms were very spacious and very clean. The staff was super nice and helpful - there'd been a mix up on our rooms and they did everything they could to accommodate us immediately. I really appreciate them taking the time to quickly resolve our issue! We'll definitely come back to this hotel when we are in the Knoxville area.

This hotel was amazing. I had a really great time staying here. The hotel was super clean, and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. Their pool is fairly large, and their wi-fi was very fast. The rooms had everything I needed and really comfortable beds. I couldn't ask for anything more out of a hotel. Highly recommend!

My husband and I were traveling home from a trip south and reserved a room here. We checked in and, as Rewards members, are entitled to available complimentary room upgrades. Lea at reception went above and beyond to accommodate us and upgraded us to a lovely room. Unfortunately, after a short time in the room, we encountered ants, more than we were comfortable tolerating. We went back down and Lea apologized and graciously moved us to another equally lovely room, sans pesky ants, gave us a late checkout and provided additional Rewards points for our trouble. Largely because of this type of kind service, on a very busy night, we would not hesitate to stay here again. Room was clean and very well appointed.

This hotel is super clean!! Rates were great!! It was a comfortable stay during our travels back to Michigan from Florida. Beautiful room, nice pool, and we were even provided a great breakfast on the go the next morning since we had to leave before hot breakfast was served. Will not hesitate to book here again for future travels.

Stayed at this hotel for a week for work reasons. Breakfast was convenient each morning. They had the normal eggs,bacon, cereals and fruit. The staff were very attentive and were available when I needed to have a small issue fixed in my room. It was quickly handled with no problems I appreciated this very much. Nice heated outdoor pool and adequate gym. Front desk staff were always helpful to make recommendations when needed. Rooms were clean and well maintained. I'd stay there again.

not good, needs alot of improvements, employee seemed highly stressed,room was clean, breakfast starts late compare to other hotels. Location is good for travelers. I see why they will not let you cancel once they get your money, I will drive for miles before stopping at a best western again.

Staff not prepared for emergencies. A fire alarm went off at 3:45 AM. It was due to faulty equipment, but the staff was not prepared to manage the situation. Management offered to concessions or discounts even though people, some with babies, were standing in the parking lot at 3:45 Am till after 4:00 am.

The room was very clean and very reasonable. Breakfast included was a bonus. The location was convenient and had many restaurants near by. A little dated but for the price an excellent place to stay. We would definitely stay again

This hotel is in a great location - convenient to all that west Knoxville has to offer and interstate 40. The room was very large, clean and comfortable. The hot breakfast was as good as or better than any comparable hotel I have seen. Most everyone I came across was friendly and helpful - especially the attendant at breakfast on Mother's Day. I would rate this hotel as excellent except for 2 thing 1) The TV did not work properly - it did not get all the stations listed (less than half) it did not even get the local stations, it was difficult to change stations with the remote as the selection would jump either forward or backward, it was impossible to actually access a desired channel. I brought this to the attention of the night clerk and all I got was that the TVs were supposed to have been fixed the week before and that there was nothing he could do about. Had it not been late and we had already unpacked I would have left. 2) The shower curtain rod had pulled loose at each end allowing the curved center to dip down - that made it impossible to completely close off the shower at each end and prevent water from splashing on to the floor. There was no excuse for either of these problems not being corrected. I might consider staying here again, but before checking in I would double check that the TV works and that the shower curtain is properly installed.

Good location and excellent service best breakfast. Outstanding job overall. Will definitely go back to that hotel. This will encourage me to check in to another location of Best Western Plus Hotel. I do recommend this Hotel to anybody.

Had a very wonderful time. I was traveling for business, and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Recommend great food and places to go if I had time. Small talk was just the right amount and I was in and out very quickly!

We absolutely loved our stay at Best Western Plus in Knoxville. Our check in was on the later side because we checked in after a show we played at Barley's in downtown Knoxville that night but it was no problem at all. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We loved the setup of the room and how it was laid out. There was a large, comfortable bed as well as a desk for work. The bed gave us such a good night's sleep that we wanted to sleep in all day. I also love that they have a little market by the desk where you can buy snacks and toiletries so you don't have to leave the hotel for small things like that. Overall we had a great stay at this hotel and would love to stay here again when in town. It's worth a little drive from Knoxville to get a great hotel for an affordable price (and not have to pay for parking).

We were in Knoxville to play a show downtown. Upon arriving, we were greeted in the pristine lobby, offered a complimentary cookie, and the instructions for WiFi & times for breakfast explained. The room was very clean, temperature of the room already comfortable & bathroom in perfect condition. The refrigerator was larger than most, closet space great & everything we needed was in the room (including full ironing board, iron, blow dryer, etc). The breakfast provided several options. Coffee and fruit were readily available in the lobby day and night. The hotel was located right off of the highway and just 15 minutes from downtown. We would definitely stay here again.

Very accessible, right off highway, easy find. Motel was very clean and comfortable with a great breakfast in the morning. The staff was very friendly and helpful with our questions. We would stay there again.

Hotel and room was clean. Employees were professional, friendly and quick to help. Breakfast was average. Problems handled quickly and to satisfaction. Near interstate hwy so road noise was heard but put you within close distance to restaurants, shopping and traveling. Nice location and would stay there again.

Very nice staff, upgraded upon arrival due to Platinum membership. Breakfast was very nice, atmosphere great! Staff helped with a problem on my end with check-in. Also helped with a wifi issue! All around great place to stay.

Driving cross-country alone in a U-Haul. Needed a place that was large enough for the truck, safe, clean, quiet, and had a good bed. I found all of these requirements at Best Western AND the price was right. The hot breakfast was a plus. I was rested, fed and ready to get on the road for my next 500-mile drive.

We went there twice in one week. Once on a Saturday night, and again on Monday night. The first night we couldn't get an upgrade because they were sold out. The second time we stayed we got the Presidential Suite. The bed was fancy, the room large, and the jacuzzi was very large. Helpful and informative staff. Breakfast was great.

The Best Western Plus Cedar Bluff Inn was clean, very quiet, reasonable and had a great continental breakfast. It is located right off the interstate and has access to get back on it. There are quite a few restraunts around and gas stations right there too. It is kid and family friendly and in a safe area

The staff was friendly, helpful and courteous. The facilities were clean and renovated fairly recently. Although room was pretty close to the interstate highway, it was very quiet. I am a Diamond Member of their rewards program and was offered a free upgrade to Executive Suite, which I accepted.

Recently stayed at this hotel, checked in very late due to travel plans. Front staff was friendly, lobby and front door area was clean and welcoming. Parking areas and landscaping well taken care of. Hotel was located off main highway, easy to get to. Room was fresh, heat had been turned on (very cold outside) and extra pillows on each bed. Cable included HBO, always a plus! Room was quiet, could not hear highway noise. Continental breakfast was available, but left too early to participate. Would definitely stay here again.

I recently stayed in the hotel for business 3/5-3/8/2018. The last day of my stay I woke up with numerous bites on my shoulder, neck, back arm and hands. After showering for an extended period of time I called management to come to my room and showed them my bites on my shoulder and then showed them evidence on the mattress cover and let them know they had bed bugs and that I was leaving my suitcase as well as many personal items in the room to throw away for fear I would take them home. They tried to say after housekeeping, management, and ecolab inspected the room they did not find any. I then sent pictures that went to the owners and they went back and found bed bugs in the headboard when they removed the head board. Bed bugs can happen at any hotel, but don't let your guard down like I did and do a quick sweep of the edges of the mattress, inspect everything. I am still suffering from bites and have lost all sense of security. Did you know it can take any where from one up to ten days for bed bug bites to show up on your skin? Me either!!

BW is our property of choice! This one didn't disappoint. Room was wonderful, comfortable bed. It was quite distance from exiting the interstate until reaching the hotel. I didn't think we'd get there! Didn't particularly care for the breakfast.

Room smelled of smoke. Person who assisted me...Tara seemed to care more about yawning and giggling rather than working. Have stayed at other Best Westerns with better rooms and much better desk help.

Super friendly staff that knows how to make guests feel welcome- especially Wanda that takes care of the breakfast. She offered excellent customer service beginning with a friendly greeting and fresh hot food! Thanks Wanda and the rest of the staff at the hotel.

This was a nice hotel west of Knoxville. We had a long day traveling on the road and didn't check in until 2 am. I called in advance and the hotel was totally accommodating. We honestly, checked in and were asleep in about thirty minutes. The rooms were clean and spacious. They had free continental breakfast and coffee to get us back on the road early the next morning. No complaints here and we really didn't get to check out too many of the amenities, but it was perfect what we were looking for--- clean, quiet, and accommodating.

We stayed here twice in december 2017, once heading down to florida & it was so nice that we stayed on our way back too. Very clean, friendly, helpful and Wanda who handles the breakfast was outstanding! The best breakfast we've ever had in a hotel. Thank you all so much!

Front desk was very accommodating when I needed to do an early check in. A room was available so they allowed me to check in early. I needed a place to plant for 4 days since I have no family in town anymore at a reasonable price. Room was very clean. Only two issues I had was the room wasn't cleaned the middle day after I took the do not disturb sign off the door around 1100. Also you can only turn on the hot water to a certain temperature and then the handle stops so water won't get any hotter. Over all a good stay for what I needed. Other hotels on the same street that I like better. Breakfast was good and had several choices. Even though I was on the interstate side you could not hear the traffic.

Had a wonderful time, the staff was exstreamly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really good, great variety. The location was great for shopping, we really had a nice stay, would definitely recommend to anyone

My wife an I stopped off in Knoxville for the night on the way back from Florida. The hotel was well located near dinning and shopping and we found the quality of our room nicer than our stay at the Sheraton in Atlanta, much more $$$ on our way down to Florida. Highly recommend this Gem.

Room was fine. Price was fine. Breakfast included was very good. Good area to stay in with lots to do. Right off the highway so you can get anywhere in Knoxville in no time. About 45 minutes from the smokey mountains.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel with her parents for two nights for New Year's Eve. The hotel is in a great location. It is within walking distance of restaurants, shopping, and a movie theater. The hotel was very clean. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast was great and they offered coffee, tea, and snacks all day long. They also have an area to sit and eat and they have a decently sized fitness area. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and courteous. The only complaint I had was that our hallway smelled like cigarettes. This, however, was not the hotel's fault and was caused by some inconsiderate guests. We were unable to use the pool because it was outside. We are planning to stay at this hotel again.

The hotel was great and we will make it our new lay over on way to Fla. Staff was great and friendly. Breakfast was hot and a good selection of food. We really enjoyed our Stay. Close to I 75 for easy access to the interstate.

Clean, reasonable. Bed very comfortable. Shower had good water pressure. Breakfast very good and location is great for stores and restaurants. It is close to I-81! Staff were very helpful and friendly. Would stay here again.

My Husband and I stay here everytime we go to Florida to Visit Family and Friends and on the why back home from Florida. Would not stay anywhere else. I would recommend staying here it's a wonderful place.

There was minimal noise from the heating/ventilation system. Quiet area with no highway noise. Convenient to small shopping area. Hot breakfast was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Lots of restaurants and shopping within a 3 mile radius.

We came to Knoxville for granddaughter's wedding. Hotel is near family's home. Very pleased with the accommodations. The breakfast is very nice. I was amazed there were "real" plates, bowls & silverware, not just paper & plastic. The hotel has easy access off and on I 40. We stayed here several years ago and we were pleased then also. Thank you for a great stay.

They accommodated us last minute and we had a great experience. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was great with a sink outside the bathroom. My husband likes steaming hot showers and I really hate doing my hair in a steamed up bathroom. The sink was small but it was a cute place. The breakfast was of great quality too

The room was clean and comfortable, all of the staff was helpful and friendly. We did not receive room service one day, had to ask for towels, but not a show stopper. The breakfast needs improving, some of the items did not taste good. The scrambled eggs were watery and salty. The fresh fruit was not fresh, was slimy and old. The bacon was paper thin. But, overall it was a good experience and would stay again there.

Good location, just off of interstate I 75/40 with lots of good restaurants to choose from very close to hotel. Hotel lobby and room very clean and bed very comfortable. Hotel personnel pleasant and very helpful. Overall an excellent stay

This was a very good Best Western Hotel and is well taken care of. We a very nice overnight stay on our way to Texas. The Room was clean and well cared for. The hotel gave us all we needed for a restful night on our way south. The breakfast was very good, one of the best we have had at the Best Westerns we have stayed at. With good access to the interstate, I would would recommend The Cedar Bluff Inn in Knoxville to everyone.

Needed a room for one night.. this motel had room, so I booked. Was very satisfied with room, service and free breakfast in morning. should probably stayed here for rest of trip because of value and amenities. next rip to Knoxville, I'll probably stay here.

Pros: Good location, decent price, friendly staff. Cons: Hotel rooms very outdated. We checked into one room, came back down and asked the person at the desk if they had any other rooms. "Yes we do and we'll upgrade your room as you are a Rewards member." Room went from standard to King Suite. Suite was nicer as we had full kitchen, but the room itself was out of date. Worst part was we did not take a shower due to tub mat in shower - did NOT look clean. Take out the tub mat and clean the shower so guests know the shower is clean! There are a lot of hotels in Cedar Bluff area of Knoxville, TN - next time we definitely will not be staying at this Best Western.

We were very pleased with our stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast area was very clean, there were several choices (waffles, pastries, fresh fruit, cereal, potatoes, eggs, biscuits, gravy, yogurt, fruit salad, oatmeal, and juices, as well as coffee, tea, and hot chocolate). The internet was fast and consistent, the service never dropped or became slow. The hotel was definitely a good value for the price of the room.

I stayed here for a conference. It's a great location for all things West Knoxville and is located in the middle of great shopping and excellent restaurants. The hotel staff really cares about the guests.

Plusses: The hotel was clean and well-kept; good value for the price; the breakfast buffet had a lot of options; the coffee was hot. Negatives: Overly zealous staff at check-in trying to push the Best Western Loyalty club on us at 1 a.m. and getting testy with us when we refused the offer.

Had a problem with an adjoining room noise problem. Addressed problem with front desk the next morning with little satisfaction. Told me to talk to the manager the next day. Completely unprofessional experience.

This hotel was great!! The staff is exceptional and they want to make sure you have a great stay!! I was there visiting family for Thanksgiving and it made my stay great!!! The breakfast is super and they even include things for people who don't eat meat, like cheese omelettes and almond milk for your cereal. The staff at the front desk, Elizabeth, was so accommodating and they even call to see how your stay is going!! It is located right near tons of shopping and great restaurants... turkey creek is up the street! You won't regret it!!!

Nice hotel not far from the heart of Knoxville. Good restaurants in the area and decent nightlife choices. Easy Uber ride anywhere you want to go. The hotel was clean, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was good. Very friendly hotel staff. The main drawback for Knoxville is they still allow smoking in bars which is a huge negative. Also, UT is a nice campus but their tailgating leaves much to be desired. The hotel made the stay worthwhile but we should have spent 2 nights in Nashville instead of 1.

One fantastic place to stay while in Knoxville. Every one treats you like family here. I have stayed here for 4 to 5 years and have not experienced any problems. I could stay at other hotels in the Knoxville area but I don't think could be treated any better anywhere else.

The staff are great, very friendly, the check in fellow was helpful. The breakfast is wonderful and the lobby inviting. There is a large table to sit and chat with friends and as a plus, it has USB plugs to charge your phone or tablet. I always stay here when in Knoxville.

When I got there to check in the guy at the counter was very nice about everything. Went to the room and set my stuff down. The room looked like it did on the website. The breakfast was alright. They had pancakes to make for breakfast and I never been to a hotel that serves breakfast with a pancake maker! The check in was easy and they check out was easy. We only stayed one night for sleep and it served its purpose. I was about a 30 minute drive to where we had to go. I would come back to stay again if it is near where I need to go in Knoxville.

Convenient location. Friendly Staff. Free Breakfast Buffet. Free Parking. I would stay here again next time I am in the Knoxville area. Front desk staff gave us directions and suggestions for dinner. Very nice people.

Overall, a good stay, saved about $10 a day by booking on-line. Reception was professional and friendly as were the breakfast staff. Room was fine overall except for the VERY slow drain in the shower/tub.

Stopped here en route from N.C. to California. Convenient to I-40. Room was nicely laid-out, and staff was friendly and helpful. Wanda's breakfast was especially good. There are also several restaurants close by.

In God's mercy, we found this hotel while we were experiencing vehicle troubles. The manager who arranged our accommodations was very nice. Our room was spacious and included a small refrigerator. Both the room and the bathroom were pretty clean. Taking our vehicle to the mechanic following our night's stay, we discovered that repairs would delay our travels for another night. When we went to the lobby to request a second night at the hotel, the sympathetic receptionist efficiently arranged for us to lodge again in the same room for the same rate as on the previous evening. Not long after settling this, we were pleasantly surprised to learn that the mechanics had completed our vehicle's repairs. We returned to the hotel's front desk and informed the receptionist that our automobile was fixed, that we would continue our journey, and that therefore we would not be staying the second night. Expressing her pleasure at our providential turn of circumstance, she generously allowed us to check out half-an-hour after normal check-out time, waiving any charges for the night we had just booked but would now not be staying.

I love going to this hotel when i'm in Knoxville. I love the staff. Regardless of what time it is, there is always somebody to help you. There is a decent breakfast and coffee and hot water is available at the lobby anytime.

We stayed in 3 different hotels, all in the same price range, while on our recent trip. This hotel was the best, by far. Granted, this is not a super luxury hotel, nor does it advertise as such. The hotel was extremely well kept, breakfast was good, but best of all the front desk staff was fabulous. As soon as we'd been to our room and come back through the lobby, we were asked how our room was. Wow. A bit later, we were going for dinner, and the gentleman at the front desk asked if we'd like a coupon for a local restaurant. Wow. The lady on duty when we came back later wished us a good evening without losing her conversation with another guest. Wow. We felt valued. Can't ask for more than that.

The check in process was great, our room wasn't ready and the clerk changed the room and checked to make sure it was ready. He was very helpful and very positive. The breakfast was above and beyond, very fresh and hot. There was an issue with the toilet and housekeeping came in and repaired the problem very quickly.

Craig and his staff gave Great Customer Service... This hotel is awesome and amazing never experience a visit like this before. They didn't rush you or mad you leave. I have been to other hotels and they would rush you. Rooms are clean, fresh towels, comfortable beds, & bathroom clean. Breakfast is amazing different variety to choice from.

10/15/2017 Apparently some rooms have been remodeled and others haven't. The room we stayed in our first night was one of the older rooms - complete with lumpy couch, stained ceiling and tub and mildewy smell. We weren't planning to spend much time in the room and decided it was fine for two nights (especially for the price). After the first night we returned late in the evening (after 10:00) after being out all day to find that the room hadn't been cleaned. I called downstairs and was told that someone would bring clean towels up and empty the trash. The person who answered was very nonchalant. While waiting, we turned on the a/c and it immediately began to make a loud clanging sound and give off a foul smell. The employee still hadn't arrived so I called back to let the person at the desk hear the noise and was told someone was coming. When the employee arrived he handed us a new set of keys and said, "There's no one here to fix the a/c so we're moving you to one of the nice rooms." So at 10:45 p.m.we had to gather up our things and move down the hallway to a different room. This hotel needs to advertise the "old" and "new" rooms accordingly so that people know what they are getting. I had no clue that some rooms were newer than others and wouldn't have if we hadn't been moved to a "good" room. 10/26/2017 5 emails and 4 phone calls later I am still waiting to receive a response from customer service.

Excellent hotel experience. Location was perfect. Area was very nice part of Knoxville. EASY to get anywhere in the city. Hotel employees were all extremely helpful. We were in Knoxville for both business and seeing family and sites, so this was a great hotel for us.

Very well located with nearby restaurants (½ mile), At checkin they originally billed me at the wrong rate then credited my account that night and recharged me at the correct rate. I had to check my credit card activity after I received two charge notifications to verify that they had also put through a credit.

After having 3 disappointing stays at Best Westerns in the past 3 weeks, this property rates 5 stars. Front desk is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is one of the best I have had as there is a good variety. There are no restaurants next door; however, there are a few just a few short blocks from the property.

I am glad we started to stay at the Best Western Motel it has great service and a good breakfast. The staff are friendly and will help when needed. I would recommend to my friends to stay there. Great place to stay!

We got this hotel room at a great price for the weekend of the UT vs. Georgia game after another hotel dropped our reservation. The hotel is in a GREAT location on the west side of Knoxville. The hotel is older, but very clean. We managed to get an "Executive Suite" which had a little kitchenette area, couch, and chairs. The room was clean and the bed and linens were very good. The breakfast area was clean and the food was a good choice of hot continental breakfast items. The staff at this hotel is FANTASTIC. Extremely courteous and professional. For the price, we would definitely stay again. I priced the same room for the South Carolina and LSU games, but they were way out of our price range (expected on game weekends). If this hotel comes up again on a third party booking site we will definitely go back.

Not sure what makes others this happy. Our room was fine but the A/C was noisy. The toilet broke after we were in for the night so we had to remove the back and lift the plunger. Also, the toilet was so close to the wall and and the paper rolls a large person would not be able to use it. The toilet was low. Great for kids. In all the motel and rooms are dated. Now then, breakfast was great with all you can ask for. The laundry worked well. Newspapers were available and the staff was pleasant and knowledgeable. Thanks Craig!!!

We were happy to return to the Cedar Bluff Best Western on our trip west. As before, the room was spacious and the window opened fully. This time there was no smell in the room from the carpet cleaner. Everything was lovely. Nice folks at the front desk, too. The breakfast was also the same: great biscuits, ok eggs, very little fruit, only instant oatmeal, and weak but acceptable coffee. I do wish the room had larger and firmer pillows; those soft squares made it hard to get comfortable. But it was very nice to have a real blanket and bedspread and not those fluffy duvets that most hotels use. A very good value overall, and we would choose it again.

I stay at the Best Western Plus Cedar Bluff Inn every time I go to Knoxville, which is the past 5 plus years. The rooms are always clean and comfortable - staff is always helpful and courteous - looking for ways to make my stay the best it can be. The breakfast bar in the morning is a good way to start the day. This place offers a good value for business travelers looking for a place to stay and get some work done. I highly recommend it.

Hotel was easy find ,just off the highway. was very quite, had a great restaurant just a short walk across the parking lot. was recommended by the office staff. room was on the ground floor was enough luggage carriers that we didn't have to carry or luggage to our room. room was clean air conditioning was quiet and controlled by a thermostat. tv remote didn't have a guide so you had to go through each channel to find the show to watch,.breakfast was hot they served bacon to go with your scrambled eggs instead or sausage, also had pancakes ,milk was very cold, apples and bananas . had really plates and knives and forks filled our water bottles in workout room out of the water cooler. bed was very comfortable had 2 pillows each

While the hotel and its facilities are nice, the main event was its kind staff. Craig at the front desk continually sought to meet my needs. Elizabeth's warm greeting and preparation of the breakfast, which was excellent and one of the best I have ever experienced at a hotel in this price-range, was comforting. And Joann, who I did not interact with but "kept us safe overnight," was also on board with kindness. I would stay at this hotel even if I didn't have a reason to come to Knoxville. Great team!

My business trip was canceled and I had to rescheduled. The front desk was great at accommodating me for that night and rescheduling me for the upcoming week. I look forward to my next stay. The location is perfect for job and there are lots of stores and food places in the area.

Value above par, better than we hoped for. Upon arrival we noticed lobby was top notch and hotel staff were spot on. We asked about the local restaurants and received many fine suggestions. Room was outstanding

Generally a good experience. Room was comfortable and roomy although I have slept in more comfortable motel room beds. We had a broken bedside light. Told it could not be fixed until next day, which was when we were leaving.

Staff were all very pleasant, breakfast was above average for this type of hotel, the only negative which is common in today's world, is the poor lighting in the room. Overall a great value. would stay again.

Rooms were beautiful, clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Facility was easy to find, in close proximity to my meeting, and to restaurants. I have back and neck problems, and the bed was a little too firm for my comfort, but most guests would find them comfortable. I thought it was a great value, and it made my stay pleasant, even though the weather was rainy. Breakfast offerings were great!

I would have given this hotel 5 stars because of great service, internet was good, breakfast was great and the room was clean, but I was greeted with smoke at the front doors. I have an asthmatic child and search out non-smoking hotels. We had to wait for at least 5 minutes to leave the car to enter the hotel because smokers were seated at benches beside both doors where the cigarette poles were located. My child can go into a major asthma attack when smelling cigarette smoke. If the hotel feels they need to accommodate smokers, the benches and the cigarette poles should be far away from the front door. Because of the major smoke issue at a NON-Smoking hotel, I will not be back.

We stayed at this hotel when we came to the area for the solar eclipse in August 2017. Our experience was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, the full breakfast had many options and was very satisfying, and my kids loved swimming in the pool. Thank you for giving us a great place to stay while making family memories. Couldn't be happier with this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

My brother and I came down from NY to view the eclipse. We didn't really know what to expect because we booked last minute but the whole experience was great! The team here at BW Cedar Bluff, made sure we were comfortable and accommodated. We had great encounters with the employees such as Joanne and Wanda. Overall, our stay turned out to be more than we hoped. Thanks again to all the lovely staff.

We stayed here 1 night before heading further south to view the 2017 eclipse that passed over this part of TN. The hotel was easy to locate near an exit off I40 / I75. The area is filled with the normal mix of restaurants, shopping, and hotels that populate the freeway exits of our country. The check in started with a friendly agent and went off without a hitch. The hotel lobby is clean and tidy. Elevator arrived quickly and took us to our room on top (3rd) floor. Our room was the pretty standard 2 queen beds, desk, credenza with TV. Plus feature was microwave and fridge. Sink is in little alcove separate from tub and toilet. Large closet. Comfortable bed with to many pillows. Room was quiet with no sound from close by freeway. Breakfast was pretty standard eggs, sausage, potatoes, fruit, cereal and was ready to go at 6 AM. I pass through this area a few times a year and would stay here again if needed.

We had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel, very clean, accommodating, the outdoor pool was very nice although I would have liked it to stay open a little later. Having a full hot breakfast each morning really saved us alot of time and money. I chatted with several of the employees and they were all so friendly and helpful. I would definately stay here again and would recommend friends to stay also. The only bad experience I had was at check in , the woman on night shift was not very friendly. After 11 hours in the car being told I needed to put up a $250 cash deposit for my stay caught me off guard. When I stated I was never told about that she got a tone of voice and an attitude. I paid the 250 and then asked a question where she again started being rude . I just took my key and went up to bed making it known my bad experience to the morning desk person. All in all we stayed for 7 days and that was the only negative on the entire trip I call that a win.

Very nice and laid back setting. Quiet and comfortable. Excellent customer service and very helpful. Staff made sure you were treated very well and the breakfast and evening cookies were excellent. As a diamond member, was treated like royalty.

I have stayed with this BW Plus a few times in 2015. When I returned the other week I was happy to see the friendly staff still there. Fresh flower arrangements in the lobby always impress me. The value just can't be beat here. The room is very clean down to the sanitized tv remote control in the cloth pouch (a hotel after a health inspector's heart). The only thing is that I noticed some minor disrepair to the ceiling in the bathroom (I like my hotel rooms pristine as I am a bit of a hotel snob). And I didn't care for the quality or condition of the throw blanket across the lower half of the bed. There was also some children running up and down the hall on the floor above us until midnight but I did not call to complain. Still would stay here again as I know exactly what I'm getting when I book.

Clean, comfortable, courteous staff, great breakfast, no default CNN fake news. Many hotel chains and airports show CNN continuously by default as if it were the standard for News. This is an insult to those of us who seek objective reporting of world events, and not a continuous stream of bias diatribe and vindictive political commentary so offensive as to get several of its reporters fired for "political correctness" fallout.

This is a clean place but they do let there guest that visit get carried away they had at least twenty ppl in the pool during a football tournament for lil kids the pool was right next to the parking lot where they were out side smoking weed and playing racist music we told the front desk they did nothing at all but all in all breakfast was good and finally the last three days that group left I read in the reviews that ppl were claiming the same thing about noise manager never came back to us and asked was all satisfied my six year old wanted to swim and could hardly find a spot to do that the kids from the football team who were like ten or twelve kept diving by his head I told him let's go music playing weed smelling loud I was done and upset I won't stay here again if i return to knoxville but rooms were clean

We stayed here while my husband was in town doing business. The staff was all great but the hotel wasn't as clean as most we stay in. I felt that I needed to clean the bathroom myself before my husband or I used it.

We went to visit friends and booked a room here first because it was a good price, when we arrived they took care if us quickly at check in, we went to our room was putting things away as I walked to the bathroom noticed the floor by the sink, which was outside of the bathroom, was soaked with water, called down to the desk I believe his name was Craig, I told him and he said let me call you back in a few minutes, he did said they would move us to a different room, we had a double queen room, in a few minutes he called and said they were booked for double rooms would a king with a sleeper sofa be ok, I told him yes, they sent someone up with new keys and to help us carry our things, it was the presidential suite room was awesome, this all happened within 30 minutes, they took very good care of us we were pleased and next time we go to Knoxville we will stay here, it was clean, nice and breakfast was great .

Our stay at this hotel met our expectation for a place to stay with an affordable price. There was no Jacuzzi and pool was outside. Great food establishments near by along with some causal shopping available. About 15 minutes from downtown and the airport.

Our 2 Queen room was big enough for a family of 4. Lots of plug ins for all of our electronics. Large bathroom with separate sink area. Clean, quiet, and good AC. Breakfast was very good with a large are for serving, however, the eating area itself is a little small. I suspect it can get busy at times.

We had a one night stay here and were very pleased with the location right off the interstate. We also liked the cleanliness of the hotel. Nice staff. It's a rather small hotel and pretty quiet overall. No complaints

There are no negatives. The room was clean, quiet and cool. It was over 90 degrees the afternoon I checked in and my room was about 72 degrees. The breakfast was wonderful. I had scrambled eggs and bacon, with gravy and biscuits, but there was a large variety of other foods and the coffee was great. The folks at the desk, both in the afternoon and the next morning were knowledgeable and helpful. There was nothing out of order. It's a great place to stay! I was in Knoxville for two day only and I drove there and I traveled alone. Therefore, I cannot comment on the family and airport amenities.

Jennifer in the Breakfast area was terrific! We were in a hurry, and I didn't have time to eat AND make my Belgian waffle. Jennifer made my waffle for me! Super nice!! After we checked out, we remembered that we had left a special pillow in the room. We were told that housekeeping had the item, and it was locked up. The gentleman staff member was kind of snarky with me on the phone.

Excellent experience. I would highly recommend this hotel. The staff was extremely helpful. There was a excellent breakfast every day of our stay. The rooms were decorated nicely and the service staff cleaned and changed bedding every day.

We really enjoyed the clean rooms with 2 queen size beds. The shampoo, conditioner, and body soap in the shower was a nice surprise. The room had a large tv which made viewing easier and the internet was very helpful to us. It helped us check out what was available in nearby areas. Great stay!

This was a great choice. Staff was great--got upgraded to an Executive Suite. Could have stayed a few days but had to move on. Room was clean and comfortable. Good places to eat near by. This is a great hotel to avoid traffic of Knoxville at 5:00 hour.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. The second shift workers Craig specifically and the other young man that worked with him appeared to be the friendliest. We would definitely stay there again. The breakfast was amazing as well - a lot of variety.

Staff is very nice and hotel is very clean. Great price for the hotel. Some issues we ran into were the ice machines never had ice and the lighting at the pool was out so we were forced to leave the pool area as soon as it started getting dark. Fitness center has a multi use machine, treadmill, stair climber, mat and towels. TV didn't work in there.

Quick check in and out, nice staff and hotel, will stay there again when visiting my son who is a freshman at University of Tennessee. Had a nice room, and a small but good hot breakfast, handled a loud neighbor, quickly when notified.

We have stayed at Best Western properties around the country and in Europe. We have come to expect high quality, clean, comfortable accommodations and friendly staff whenever we stay with Best Western. However, this hotel is the best we have experienced in every category.

This gentleman working the evening shift on July 11 is a very friendly employee. This was a plus. The reception area/lobby was very nice as was the breakfast area. The breakfast was pretty good, no complaints. Our room fell just a bit short of our expectation. I believe this hotel is a bit older because some of the furniture had lost some paint, the hallway carpet was a bit shabby, and the walls had scratches that almost were the length of the hallway. And, in our bathroom, some of the wallpaper was coming loose. Still, for the price, it was not a bad deal.

Loved this Best Western, and although we are already fans of the brand, must say this one exceeded our expectations. Free upgrade, friendly helpful staff at front desk, Deborah and Scott, who made us feel at home and also took a personal interest, giving us recommendations for dinner and coupons (at we loved Puelo's Grille nearby). There were cookies available in the evening that were yummy. The hotel was super clean and our mattress and bedding was the best - very comfortable. Wanted to stay more than 2 nights! Breakfast was a nice variety and included a fruit mixture, yogurt and hard boiled eggs (our favorite) as well as the usual juices, eggs, cereal, toast, danish, etc. Wanda, the Breakfast Hostess, took great pride in her job and the kitchen serving area and eating area were spotless and well stocked all the breakfast hours. She was also friendly and we enjoyed talking with her.

This is a fabulous hotel. Among the amenities were large china plates and other china dishes, as well as metal eating utensils, at the in hotel breakfast, along with a wider than usual food and drink options. Really helpful staff at check-in and other times as well. Well-located in the West end of Knoxville. We will be back!

We stopped for the night on our way to gatlinburg. Got a room with two queen beds for our four member family. Price was great, room was comfy and clean, staff was nice and helpful, breakfast has alot of variety, and checkout was easy. Very good experience.

Great place to stay. I will always stay here when we have our conventions in Knoxville, Tn. I really appreciate all the fast service whenever we needed anything. They are so kind & helpful & efficient. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This motel is clean , staff is very nice and helpful. The hot breakfast was excellent, thanks to Jennifer and Connor. The king size bed was very comfortable. We were there for a 3 day convention, stayed 4 nights. We would stay there again.

Hotel is bright, clean, and beautifully landscaped. On check in- the staff is professional and polite. The breakfast person- Jennifer- works hard and fast to keep guests happy and the house keeping staff are wonderful. The pool is well maintained and the work out room is small but useful. I especially loved their pillows! :)

Friendly, professional staff. Clean room. Comfortable bed and pillows. We were in town for a Bible conference in the downtown area. This hotel was convenient to I-40, and in a less congested, upscale area.

This hotel was recommended by a co worker and I found it to be clean and comfortable. The soap dispenser in the shower was unique and much more sanitary. The breakfast was more than your average continental breakfast and it was good.

As I end my journey, I stayed at this BW. It is truly one of the best ones I stayed at. Everyone was great. Great breakfast and even breakfast to go if you want. Really good wifi. Nice outdoor pool (clear and clean). I even used the laundry room. One less thing to do when I get home. One drying cycle is 90 mins. I ate nearby at the Parkside Grill. I'll review that next. Thanks again Best Western for making my journey more relaxing.

Place was nice but seemed a little pricey. The guy at the counter was kind of rude when we tried to use our rewards card. Kind of looked done on us because we wanted to try to use it to get a free room. The room we were given was nice and clean. Was able to get our pizza delivered to the room. The bathroom was nice. I wouldn't say that I would stay there again though.

This has so far been the best stay at any hotel i have ever had. The staff constantly went above and beyond, especially Conner and Jennifer. My room was well kept, and the complientary breakfast was very filling.

Very nice BW Plus! Deborah at checkin was friendly and gracious. She acknowledged my elite status with a room upgrade and offered the choice of welcome packet or extra points. The room was clean and spacious and had a little kitchenette (including basic dishes and dishwasher) which would be nice for a longer stay. My favorite amenity was the soaking bath tub. So relaxing after a long day of driving. The shampoo, conditioner and bath gel were in ecological wall dispensers. Breakfast was better than usual. Besides the waffle maker and assorted breads, there were eggs (both scrambled snd boiled), bacon, potatoes, biscuits with sausage gravy, cut fresh fruit mix, and, of course, cereal, coffee and tea, some packets if you preferred cocoa or hot cider. Oh yes, and yogurt and even almond milk for those who can't drink the real thing. I will definitely choose this inn again when traveling this way. Checkout was just as pleasant, although I forgot to note the name of the very pleasant lady on duty in the morning.

Stayed in this hotel on our way from Charlotte to Nashville, nice in between point. Hotel was fine, very clean and management was helpful. Just off i40, lots of dining options within a couple miles. About 15-20 min from downtown Knoxville. Breakfast was above average, good for what you are paying. Eggs, sausage, waffles, juices, etc. My major gripe was the noise, since it is just off the highway you will hear it, plan accordingly. Overall, would stay here again if in the area. Got this as a Priceline deal.

This place was a pleasant surprise.....this is the first time staying at a Best Western and I have to say this was a great experience. The room was very clean and the service was impeccable. Next time in Knoxville, I will definitely stay here again.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable. We were on the third floor near the highway. The highway is very loud, at first we thought there was a window open. Luckily, we were very tired from a very long drive, so we were able to sleep through the highway noise. We did not eat breakfast there so cannot comment on that. Had no problem with the internet. Lots of restaurants close by for dinner. Would stay again when passing through the area.

Really great for business travel, breakfast included and coffee 24-7 in the lobby. Staff is really delightful and helpful. Very happy to have stayed here and would return for quick overnight stay again.

From booking through checkout, everything was easy. We very much appreciated the helpful and caring staff. Breakfast was excellent. The room was very clean and comfortable. Overall, we felt very well about our stay and will stay there again.

Always clean and friendly staff welcomes you at this price performer. Rooms are clean and relatively quiet assuming you are away from Highway end...Breakfast is more than enough to get you fueled up for the day. Wanda was very pleasant and helpful on this viisit.

My daughter and I were in Knoxville for a travel softball tournament. Upon arrival, the staff was nice and courteous. The room was clean and comfortable. We loved the shampoo and soap dispensers on the shower wall!! Jennifer and Conner was excellent breakfast hosts! The breakfast was huge and very good. Hotel was convenient to our ball fields, very clean, and all staff was very helpful! Will stay here again! Love the Knoxville City History décor theme throughout the hotel!

Nice place to stay, great staff, friendly, clean, reasonable. Good location, convenient to everything in Knoxville, close to shopping, UT, downtown, Oak Ridge, I-40 and I-75. I would recommend this Best Western to anyone.

Nice place to stay. Will stay there again. Clean, quiet, and comfortable room, with Wi Fi. Only complaint would be they didn't offer me a snack or beverage when they were checking my loyalty points after check in. No big deal, but other Best Westerns I stayed at did.

We stayed for one night while traveling through. This property is located on a quiet treelined street which is behind a strip of stores and restaurants. The room was of an average size, but the beds were comfortable. The A/C unit and the bathroom fan were loud. The breakfast was good, with a variety of hot and cold items, and the breakfast area was bigger than most hotels, so we weren't vying for a seat. If we were in the area, we would stay here again.

The staff was very pleasant and the location of the hotel was great, close to restaurants, shopping etc. The hotel is well maintained, parking was ample and free. The breakfast was included and was quite good. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The staff was exceptional friendly which makes a big difference when you are travelling. The breakfast was good, nice variety of things. They have a pool but it was outside (I prefer inside). There's a lot of stores and restaurants really close. Easy access to a lot of things. I would recommend this hotel.
