Best Western Plus Hotel Katy Inn & Suites, Katy

Never stayed at this location before and it was a pleasure to do so. Staff very helpful with changes in our reservations. And, the washer and dryer available to guests was great and needed! Thanks so much!

Check in was easy--Front desk gentleman was very friendly. The room was dated. The bed was comfortable. The towels were very thin. We could hear road noise--the hotel is next to 2 busy roads.We did not use the pool. Breakfast was ok.

Very nice property and the staff was great. Appreciated the fellow who checked us in... he was friendly, efficient and had a sense of humor! Used the on-line booking and it worked exactly like it was supposed to and the website is "non-techy person" friendly! Also... this hotel is near great places to eat and not far from the highway, but it was super quiet on the inside!

Very clean facility, very friendly and helpful staff. Only thing we found was there wasn't a bar/lounge area and it would have been nice to have a nightcap before retiring for the night. All else was wonderful.

Needed a place to stay close to home. Location is next to Starbucks amd across the street from Walmart. I saw that it was rated #1 by travelers so decided to stay. Front desk ladies were attentive and kind. The hotel is not one of the newer ones, but that said, everything was in good working order and most importantly, very clean. Shower had good water pressure. Because of covid, I disinfect anything we touch, and the wipes were not dirty after that! Room was fresh, had enough towels and individual toiletries. I don't like built in shampoo etc bottles bc it feels institutionalized. Breakfast was good with hot items, pastries, waffle maker and juice. Coffee was very good. I had a room at the end of the hallway on the third floor. Freeway noise was noticeable for a light sleeper. The bed and pillows were firm which is not my preference. Some may like this. I don't think you will be disappointed here.

This hotel has terrific employees. Very pleasant and helpful.. Maria at the front desk was exceptional with customer service and being pleasant and kind. Our room was very and clean and up to date. This 4 night stay was one of the best hotel stays we have ever had. Shows the good management.at this location.

Limited, if any services, were provided in the rooms. There was a broken elevator one of the days during our stay. The most disgusting event, was the discovery of drug paraphernalia hidden in the bathroom. Our call to the hotel manager has remained unanswered.

Having been in and out of hotels since Feb Freeze, and paying thru the nose at some other hotels in the area... I was pleased to find this hotel. Great Value for the money, hot breakfast and friendly staff all make this hotel a great place to stay...

We were extremely pleased with our accommodations on our recent trip to Katy. The check-in, check-out procedures were very efficient and helpful. Our room was what we needed- clean, quiet, comfortable. The location was incredible, just off of the highway with easy access to everything from dining to shopping. The coffee offerings at the morning breakfast were the best I have experienced in a hotel.

I have learned to stay out of town for the conventions I attend. We stayed here for 4 nights. Friendly staff. Room was very large. Clean as could be. Breakfast was very nice considering COVID restraints. Beds were comfy and bathroom towels were nice and thick. Our first time at a BW Plus and hubby said to look here first for hotel stays on future road trips. Not one complaint from us. Many eating options around this hotel also. Close to park & ride location is a plus.

This was a nice hotel for the 3 nights I stayed here with my husband and mother. We came to attend a wedding and this was the perfect accommodation. The Continental breakfast was nice. The hotel staff greeted you and are very friendly. Most of all the place is nice and clean, the cleaning crew is always busy cleaning and making sure that everything is sanitized.

Very nice clean room, with plenty of amenities as described on website. Very quiet, great location, easy to get to from the highway. TV has plenty of channel options. For the price, this is a great hotel to stay at

We drove from North West Arkansas down for my daughter's wedding and the staff was very helpful and made us feel very welcome. Will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends. Thank You so much for the service

Excellent hotel. Very clean room and friendly staff. Breakfast was hot and tasty every morning. More than ample parking and easy access to and from interstate and local roads. Close to any type of retail necessary.

Everyone was extremely nice. They helped us as much as they could. Breakfast was awesome. It was clean clean clean. I loved it here! Do yourself a favor and skip the bnb and stay here! I have never stayed in a hotel that was as comfy as. My own home.

Tall Serb guy at the front desk Milan nice guy but bad body odor he smell from 10 feet away both terrible breath and body odor They need to retrain him on personal hygiene and personality in general Hotel is decent for a price all in all cool place to spend a night or two at just be aware of dinosaurs breaths at front desk

Worst place ever...old, smelled like mold, sheets all wrinkled, no water in rooms, worst hotel ever. Have stayed in many Best Western and this has been the worst ever. Elevators all dirty, no attention to details of cleanliness =.

One of the best BW properties I have experienced. Rates are reasonable, building is neat, clean. Smells great! Friendly staff, nice size rooms, good TV selections, all the standard amenities in the room with Micro wave, fridge w/freezer (important to me), coffee maker, and good bath linens. Stands right next to I-10 but not noisy, close to Katy Mills Outlet and Bass Pro, restaurants, Wal-Mart and Costco. Not much else one would need. Pool available as well.

Hotel was very clean. Breakfast was good - lots of options even for Covid restrictions. Great location if going to Typhoon Texas or Katy Mills Mall. Walking distance to Chuck E Cheese and Starbucks. Pool was green and dirty though.

Very nice, clean hotel, and pleasant, professional employees. I visited from Nevada and was extremely happy the air conditioner worked so well (just not used to the humidity). When I come back I will definitely stay here again.

When making the reservation, it was not disclosed that the hot tub was on working. Hot Breakfast item were all empty an hour before they were to stop serving breakfast. I thought I booked a room with a kitchen, but on checking I was told that I only booked a standard room They did not have any rooms with a kitchen available at time of check in.

My extended family and I stayed at this hotel over a weekend. We booked a block of rooms about a week and a half ahead of time and there was enough availability for us to reserve ten rooms. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The bathrooms were not updated, but they were clean, functional, and stocked with bathroom necessities. After breakfast the first morning, a member of the staff, seeing the size of our group, informed us that the hotel office/event space was available that weekend and we could use it for our family meals if we desired, free of charge. This turned out to be one of the biggest benefits of staying here as our group was over 20 people and included a lot of children. We used the space for all of our family meals, which allowed us to spend a lot more time together. Throughout the weekend all members of staff were friendly and obliging, giving restaurant recommendations and keeping us supplied with lots of pool towels. The hotel was clean and we saw cleaning staff wiping down shared surfaces regularly. I felt comfortable with the level of cleanliness at this hotel. The exterior hotel doors that were not the main entrance all required room keys for entry, including the gated pool area. The location is excellent with easy interstate access, lots of nearby restaurants and shops, and numerous parks with playgrounds. Houston is a short drive away, but Katy had enough to keep us occupied during our stay. I recommend this hotel for families with children, groups, couples, and single travelers. I would stay here again if in the Katy area. The hotel itself is great, the staff putting it on an even higher level of accommodation excellence.

My husband and I stayed there for one night a week ago. The room was fairly clean. When I went to shower, I realized there was only 1 bath towel - for 2 adults?? So, I phoned the front desk and she said they would bring another bath towel. Two hours later, still waiting, so I phoned a 2nd time. She asked if I would use a pool towel instead. I said that would be fine. Waited another hour. Had to phone a 3rd time and was told I would have to come to the lobby and get it. By now, it was 10:00 pm. Already in pajamas, I went to the lobby to get the towel. All seems rather ridiculous.

Just like the title: Nice, clean, comfortable and next door to everything! I highly recommend this place. Everything is perfect - from customer service to the well-lit parking area. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. I was a short walking distance from the Katy Mills Mall, and there's an amazing water park two blocks away. I can't hardly wait to return in the summer! I highly recommend this place!

I'm currently staying at the Best Western by Katy Mills. My stay so far has been good. Room clean, staff friendly but I haven't been brought fresh towels today and I called to tell front desk that the top latch locks when you leave, which would leave me & my daughter locked out of we both left. The Guy at front desk said just call front desk if we needed to be let in. Wouldn't it make more sense to fix the latch since we'll be here for 5 days and would be going in and out frequently and shouldn't have to wait to be let in each time I arrive back to my room.

If we ever need to come back to the Katy area this is my go-to hotel. Everyone was wonderful and the room was extremely clean/COVID friendly. There is anything you could want to eat nearby, even Walmart and Costco too!

The toilet seat was not attached to the toilet, causing it to move every time someone sat down and the lid would hit me in the back. The bathtub did not drain, so by the end of my 10 minute shower, I was standing in several inches of dirty water (I removed the drain and the water didn't even move. The lid of the ice bucket was moldy. The floor looked like it was never vacuumed. There was a ton of dirt and hair on the carpet. The bed would shake every time someone in another room would close their door. My door wouldn't always close all the way.

This hotel is in a great area in Katy. A lot food and entertainment plazas are with within walking distance of the hotel. The mall is 5 min away with plenty of shopping options. Hotel was clean and The staff was very friendly and helpful, with great hot breakfast.

Rooms are quite spacious with functional amenities. Staff are quite friendly and willing to help those that need it. The environment is refreshingly quiet with amazing proximity to the shopping malls; just perfect.

We spent one night at the Best Western Plus in Katy TX. The Hotel staff was very courteous and helpful at both check in and when we left. The room was spacious and well furnished with a king bed, chair and ottoman. The room and bathroom were very clean. We enjoyed watching an HBO movie on the tv. The bed and bedding were VERY comfortable. Breakfast room was large, staff friendly, with large assortment of breakfast options. It was easy access from HWY 10.

The staff was very friendly from check-in to checkout. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. There are a lot of restaurants and stores within walking distance from hotel. The pool and hot tub were very clean and was very nice to help you relax. The breakfast had many choices to choose from. I would definitely stay there again when I am in that area.

I stayed at this hotel for 7 days. Housekeeping left a lot to be desired. I had breakfast in the room as many morning I would have to work for a few hours prior to starting my day of leisure. Every evening when I returned, all my breakfast plates, empty coffee cups an napkins where still strewn all over the room. I had a late start one of the day, but left prior to their noon cut-off for housekeeping. When I came back, the room had not been cleaned. I call the front desk to let them know and their answer was that there was nothing they could do. In the morning we talked to the front desk clerk and she acted like we where lying to her. That morning I had to wash my hair if soap, since we had run out to shampoo! Next time I'm in Katy I will choose another hotel. There are tons in the areas to chose from. You would think that the staff would consider that when they are servicing your room!

We had a late start. There was a note on our that we needed to leave the room by noon if we wanted it cleaned that day. We left at 11:00 am. When we got back, the room had not been clean. Beds undone no fresh towels. Front front desk was unclear about my expectations and argued with my on whether or not we should get a credit.

First, the musty room was in dire need of a good cleaning and upgrade. The faded, stained, worn carpet was loose and bunched up in two places, one directly in the middle where one needs to walk to reach the bathroom - a major trip hazard. Second, this is the worst insulated hotel. All night I heard traffic, people talking and the elevator - constantly. The elevator made horrible knocking/banging noise when in use - felt uncomfortable having to use it. Very disappointing for one really needing the rest during travel.

First, the rooms smelled like they had been fumigated. I say rooms, plural, because i was locked out as the door lock stopped working. The rep could not repair it and we changed rooms. The next room also smelled like bug spray. Overall, not a good experience.

.I checked in a mater off minutes The staff is very attentive and the room was very clean .I have stayed in higher price hotels and this one compares to them in overall service and comfort.I always use this hotel when In come in to Katy TX .

Staff treats you like family, rooms are clean and up to date, pool and hot tub are not nasty, you definitely will not regret anything if you stay here! You can definitely tell they the management takes customer service extremely serious!

Great place to stay. Clean and quiet. No excessive noise. Breakfast is great! I alwaus feel like I am at ahome when I stay here. It's the perfect location in relation to shopping, food and entertainment.

I made my reservation using the Best western web site, they gave the room for $65/ night. I got a room that have a dirty AC, a broken closet sliding door, and a broken sink drainer. I wanted to extend two more days (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) but the front desk wanted me to pay $22 extra per day. ?? for what? I left and made a reservation at Holiday Inn, whish was much better and cheaper that what they were going to charge me. I will never consider this brand for future stay.

Hotel staff was courteous, friendly and professional. The room was large, comfortable and clean. Overall, this was the best hotel that we have stayed at recently. We plan to travel to Katy again real soon and will stay at this hotel.

Easy access to freeway, friendly staff, great rooms, what more could you ask for! Used my points for my stay and had zero issues. Would definitely recommend staying here if you have any need for a hotel in this area.

Hotel was clean and comfortable, everything needed was accessible. The breakfast was good and there are restaurants close by if needed. I enjoyed my night there and would stay here again if I were to ever be in the area.

We stay here often. It is a comforable place to stay in the Katy area. Lots of things to do close by. Several resturants within walking distance. The staff is always professional and friendly. I would recommend this location to travlers.

The price for the stay was great and the room was clean and well kept. The only negative thing was the pancakes were soggy and the breakfast was a bit undercooked. The pieces of bacon rock hard and sausages that felt like you were chewing a rubber duck. But overall the stay was pretty decent!

We sold our house. Needed a place to stay for 2 nights. Great beds, lovely room and wonderful breakfast. Perfect place to stay when you've lifted boxes and packed. We were tired and hot and worn out. Perfect place to rest.

This is an awesome hotel. We stay here each time we visit the Katy area. We have never hsd a bad experience. The rooms are clean and the beds and pillows are comfortable. Great place for a family. Very affordable.

This hotel is in a great location. It has many restaurants and store within walking distance. The rooms were large an the beds were very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful with everything as usual. I would definitely stay at this location again and again.

Excellent experience. This Best Western Plus is conveniently located within walking distance of attractions, restaurants, hair salons, and even a Walmart. Staff presented themselves as friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Reasonably priced. Breakfast buffet was good. Room was quiet and comfortable. I will definitely be making a reservation at this hotel next time I am in the Katy area.

We were pleased with the convenient location and easy access from the interstate. Friendly professional service from the front desk and a clean comfortable room made a pleasant end to a day plagued by traffic. There are a variety of food options nearby.

I enjoyed my stay. The hotel is wonderfully located, with Walmart being a walking distance away across the road. Katy mall is also nearbyand the hotel shuttle bus will take you there for free. The staff were very pleasant and willing to help. Daily complimentary breakfast was nice.

Nicely appointed room good value, very good breakfast buffet, good access with parking, wifi was okay. room clean, AC was noisy, but expected, just turn off during the night. would recommend and stay again in future.

Stay would have been great, but housekeeping didn't replenish towels and toiletries during our stay. WiFi was weak, but didn't really pose a problem because we were away from the hotel most of the day

We stayed here one night and were very impressed with the cleanliness and spaciousness of the room. The bed was very comfortable. It was in a great location right off I 10 and close to a lot of good restaurants. Breakfast was really good - a big step above the standard fare. They had a custom omelet station set up for guests, 2 waffle makers, and a big variety of other offerings. What really impressed me was the staff. They were so friendly and accommodating, and seemed to really care about us having a good stay there. They really seemed to like their jobs and genuinely concerned about making sure we were happy.

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were roomy and nicely decorated. The hot tub was wonderful. They had a variety of choices for breakfast. I would definitely stay there again.

After a long drive we were glad we reserved this Best Western site in Katy,Tx. Facility feels new with very comfortable rooms and amenities. Decent hot breakfast and restaurants within a short walking distance.We wanted something just off I 10 that was easy to find and the price was very reasonable. Welcoming staff made it a very pleasant stay. We would definitely stay again and recommend.

Over night in this town on our way to Kerrville extremely nice room very quiet and clean breakfast was standard fair but well presented very good access to and from interstate 10 several restaurants that were within walking distance is also a plus

Just passing through from Georgia to San Antonio to visit the in-laws and stopped here for the night. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with a nice variety; much better than a simple continental breakfast. I would definitely come back again.

This location is great. It near many resturants and stores. The Katy Mills Mall is just around the corner. Two movie theaters neat the hotel. I walked to WalMart while staying here. The waterpark is not far.

Thankfully called ahead, and Marcus gave us detailed directions, as AAA Tour Book only said south frontage road. You need to turn off of that on to Katy Mills. Strip mall across street has number of restaurants within walking distance. Gracious welcome by Maria, upgraded to "suite" because of rewards status. She also made sure everything was okay when we walked by the desk later. Choice of pillows on the bed, mattress a bit soft for us, but good nine hours sleep. Room, large and comfortable, expect as usual, the seating. Had to put bed pillows on the sofa so didn't sink in, and then behind neck for support.

The hotel is easy to access off of Interstate 10 and is surrounded by lots of places to eat and things to do. The room was clean and the breakfast was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great place to stay if your in Katy and we will stay there again on our next trip back to Katy Texas.

This hotel was great. It was clean, the staff was nice, and the complimentary breakfast was wonderful. I also appreciated that Katy Mills was 15 minutes walking distance, restaurant were across the street, and Typhoon Texas was just down the street. I would highly recommend this affordable hotel.

Comfortable room within a couple of minutes from I10. Friendly Check-in and easy parking. Given how close the hotel was to I10 we were pleasantly surprised that you could only just hear the traffic - with the air con on you couldn't hear it at all. Excellent breakfast with lovely crispy bacon, French toast and scrambled eggs. Great for a one night stay.

We spent 4 days and 3 nights at the Best Western Plus in Katy and were very comfortable. Upon check-in, the guest services agent, Maria, gave us a complimentary upgrade to a king suite which was great! The additional room was much appreciated because due to the hot weather, we spent quite a bit of time in-doors. There is a nice little pool for cooling off. Super clean and quiet. Across the street is a fantastic donut shop - if you can catch them coming out of the oil, hot - don't pass them up! Worth every calorie!! If we're in the Katy area again, we will definitely stay here.

Close to highway and entertainment. Only problem was, we were on 2nd floor and could hear kids running above us. Which we know is not a hotel issue. This is the second time we have stayed here and we will definitely stay again .

Wonderful hotel with very wonderful staff. Very good environment, within close proximity to a big mall, walkable for health conscious people. They hotel exterior is beautiful but the inside is even better. The rooms, corridors and amenities are very clean. What's however most wonderful is the friendliness of the hotel staff, evert ready to listen to Guest and never tired of offering multiple satisfactory solutions to guest requests with a smiling face. This hotel is an easy "A+"...10 out of 10. The service was spot-on. The front office staff was attentive and friendly. The amenities were nice...beautiful pool and seating area. The breakfast area is huge, and staff there were very accommodating. One lady even asked how our trip was going, where we were from, and if there was anything she could do to help make our stay more enjoyable. There was a great coffee selection, and the food was good. Our hotel room was clean and big enough to accommodate our family. The bathroom was large and the handles and faucet were easy for my kids to use. Every time we stopped by the front desk area, the staff there would stop what they were doing to greet us and ask if we needed any help. Phenomenal! The only thing I'm neutral on is the location. This hotel is in a nice, quiet area, but it would have been nice to be closer to some nice restaurants and shopping. Highly recommend!

We have been to the hotel three times in the past four years and received great service. The hotel has a shuttle service for a one mile radius. We used the SuperShuttle service from and to the HOU airport and several Enterprise car rentals are available nearby.

Couldn't wait to write review about this amazing hotel. I did my research through trip advisor first and my expectations were not only exceeded but I cnat imagine staying anywhere else when visiting family here again. From the cleanliness to the customer service to the breakfast it was top quality service and I've stayed at many hotels traveling. This hotel not only is welcoming with exceptional staff but warm and perfectly accommodating which is what you need when traveling with children's nd want somewhere clean and safe. Honestly from the time I walked thru the door on the evening of my first stay (April 2018) the service at this particular hotel (what has become my home always from home) has been above and beyond any expectation I have ever had for hotel service. The hospitality from the front desk staff (Marisela, Karen, and Marcus) has been amazing! I frequent this hotel on business trips weekly. On multiple occasions I have shared meals, stories, and laughs with this staff! I have stayed at pricier hotels in the area to include Best Western Premier ( which was nice but customer service wasn't exactly their strong point) and would pick this hotel ABOVE ANY in the Katy, TX area! Do yourself a favor and stop the search for a good hotel because this one is the jackpot! 5+ stars from me!

I really enjoyed my stay here. Great location, near Katy Mills,Typhoon Texas and other restaurants and shopping centers! The room was very clean and there is a strong scent upon arrival in the lobby and the room, but it's a clean fresh scent. I can see how it would be a problem for people with sensitive noses, but it was not a problem for us. Breakfast was ok, the waffles were really good, my husband wanted more of a selection like some other Best Western's we have visited, I'm just a waffle gal!!! That's all I need!! Check in and check out was quick and pleasant. The bed was comfortable, not to plush and not to firm. Plenty of towels in bathroom!!! A really great place to stay!!!

I have stayed here every time I come to town. It is located by the mall, resteraunts and water park. Lots of stuff to do near by and easy access to Houston. Only complaint is the pool is small but everything else is great. Plan to stay here every time I'm in town.

I and my wife stayed at this hotel due to Hurricane Harvey flooding. We were treated with respect and compassion in our situation and were given excellent service our entire stay. We have stayed at this hotel in the past and have always had a pleasant experience. The hotel is a little overpriced compared to other areas but there rooms are nice and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast selections are a little limited. But the at least it is a full hot breakfast. The staff is friendly and always willing to assist in any way.

the hotel was located near multiple restaurants sandwich shops, coffee shops, freeways, shopping breakfast had many items to choose from and the bed was unbelievable comfortable the room was superb, exercise room was great as I use most every stay when weather is cold outside.

We stay here usually once a month for the weekend. The value is reasonable and the employees are always courteous and helpful. We have never had to ask for something to be repaired or for extra products.

I wrote a review two days ago, and I forgot to mention Jared who would always help me at breakfast. He was so nice, and would get me ice, and snacks for my cooler that I packed for work every day. Our extended stay was very comfortable, almost all due to the excellent staff under the guidance and expertise of Mr Sam! Breakfasts were great, and the room cleaning staff were great! It was very safe, they made everyone feel comfortable and closeby were several food places. Walmart was right there for almost anything!

We stay whenever we are in Katy TX. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Good WIFI. We enjoy the breakfast buffet. Nice helpful staff. Near resturants and malls. Lots to do in the area. Wal Mart is within walking distance.

Stayed here due to Hurricane Harvey, staff and hotel met all expectations. Room was clean and comfortable, hotel is very conveniently located to shopping and plenty of good restaurants. Would here again.

Conveniently located near Katy Mills. It is an OK hotel for the price, however rooms are a little bit run down. Breakfast is inlcuded but is very crowded during rush hour, so it is difficult to find a table and food constantly needs to be replentished

My stay at the Best Western was superb. The staff was very professional and accommodating. My family and I had to evacuate because of Hurricane Harvey. They made a devastating situation a pleasant one. They took exceptionally good care of my mom who is 88 with advanced stage of Alzheimer. Their performance was nothing short of spectacular.

Under mandatory evacuation orders due to hurricane Harvey we stayed at least (we're still under evacuation order) 4 nights in the Katy Inn and Suites in the middle of a hurricane. The staff was stretched thin, due to most roads being impassable and dangerous weather conditions, but they were ALWAYS helpful, courteous and kind. Front Desk attendant or manager Marcus Burdette and housekeeping Anabel Gonzales deserve recognition and rewards for their tireless efforts. Both worked many days in a row, stuck in the hotel with no way home, and never lost their great service attitudes. I would have been very pleased with the service and staff under normal conditions but to have this level of service in the conditions we were under is remarkable. BEST WESTERN recognize these employees please.

We were very happy with our visit! This place has a very pleasing ambience, a lovely aroma upon entering the establishment and just a clean and tidy place. The bedroom worked for our family it was clean comfortable and tidy and serviced well. The breakfast food was ample, tasty, varied and sufficient with plenty of choice including fresh fruit. Coffee delicious too. The lady that worked in the breakfast area was very nice and friendly too. We had initially booked to stay for 6 nights but unfortunately had to check out early to avoid potential floods from the impending hurricane. We would most definitely recommend this conveniently located, clean, tidy, pleasant and reasonably priced hotel in Katy, TX.

We spent the night at this hotel on our way to SeaWorld in San Antonio. Our stay could not have been any better. Hotel was spotless, beds were very comfortable and the people that worked there were as kind and helpful as could be. I would stay at this hotel again in a heart beat.

My wife and I have stayed here many times and love this motel! Rooms are always nice and clean. Highly recommend this motel! Location is convenient to surrounding stores, restaurants, etc. It's the only motel we stay at when we're in the Houston area.

Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Great room - large and well appointed. Big bed, modern television (programme content was awful, but that's American TV), great toilet/bathroom, large seating area and a refrigerator. Plentiful parking on site. Hotel has a pool and a fitness gym. Thank goodness for the air conditioning throughout the hotel - it was very hot and humid outside (July). The breakfast was rather limited but adequate. Distances around Houston are much greater than we expected - it was a long way from the airport and to the space centre and to Galveston, which we visited. There is a huge outlet mall very close to the hotel and a large supermarket just across the road (Walmart).

We interacted with 4 different people, all amazingly kind and friendly. Which has been our experience with BW and we have stayed in BW in different states. The only thing I have noticed in 2 different stays has been that the room gets cold, but feels humid. The person who checked us in was kind, polite, friendly. We also bought some snacks and the lady was friendly, along with the other lady who checked us out and finally the gentleman who was in charge of breakfast. If you're in the area I highly recommend staying here, except if you're rude, then stay away because this staff was friendly and kind.

Great newer hotel. Very clean. Friendly staff and easy check-in. The rooms were larger than most standard rooms with plenty of space and a nice layout. Beds were fairly comfortable, just a bit more firm than we're accustomed to. They offer soft and firm pillows. Attention to detail in the rooms and breakfast area were a great touch. They serve Douwe Egberts coffee, which is one of the best-tasting, smoothest coffees I've ever tasted. Breakfast had a good variety, and the kitchen manager did a good job of maintaining the area and assisting the guests with any issues that arose. The only complaints we had were the constant slamming of the room doors in the very early morning hours and the very loud sounds of someone using the ice machine to (apparently) fill a cooler, also in the early morning. Neither of those problems are the fault of the hotel. Would definitely stay here again. It was a more enjoyable stay than the more expensive, higher tier hotel we had in a nearby town over the weekend.

This was a great place to stay. Clean hotel, friendly staff and easy access to all attractions. Breakfast was okay. Your basic hotel breakfast, nothing fancy. Starbucks is within walking distance so that is always an option. I will defiantly stay here the next time I'm in town.

I have stayed at this hotel several times when I am in Katy doing triathlons (swim, bike, run). I have always enjoyed staying here, but during my most recent trip I could not find my Texas Aggie ring when I got home. I was not sure where I lost it, but I called the hotel and a couple of days later drove about 125 miles to speak with them about my ring. The staff was very kind and understanding. Another guest was already in the room, but the cleaning staff went in the room as soon as they could and found my ring behind the nightstand. They called me and returned the ring to me at their own expense. WOW! I am so impressed by the leadership and staff at this hotel.. It is also a great room! Great Value! Great Location! We had stayed here two times. This time, there were problems. The biggest problem was that our sheets and pillowcases had stains on them, some of them dried blood. The protective mattress cover had dried urine stains. I brought this to the attention of the desk person at midnight because we got in late that evening. I came down the next morning and showed the pictures to the desk person. She then showed those pictures to the manager who was quite responsive. The next problem was that the room had an odor. I have seen in previous reviews that people have written about this. It is probably the cleaning chemicals they use, but it was overpowering each time we walked in. It seemed to get better when the air conditioning was turned up. I had requested nothing with strong odors be used in the room. The first room we were given, we had to change because the bed was not in good condition and you could feel the springs. We had not yet unpacked so the desk person very kindly moved us to the room next door. The bed was better, but not great. The breakfast was not impressive or particularly healthy with low sugar options. The location of this hotel is excellent. It is near everywhere that you would want to go to. The lobby is very nice. The front desk staff is very nice. I have every confidence that the manager is going to rectify any problems that the hotel may have.

This is a great hotel to stay in if you've got business in Katy. I found it to be comfortable and accommodating. The staff is super helpful at all times, on all shifts. The hotel is located conveniently next to the interstate, and is close to everything you might want to do in Katy. When I do business in Katy again, I will absolutely stay here again.

The hotel is exceptionally maintained from top to bottom. Best Western Plus in Katy accommodated me for many extended stays. Sergio is one of the most patient receptionists and eager to help with any requests. Brad always serves an appetizing breakfast which helped me successfully start many work days. On several occasions I forgot personal items and I would receive a phone call to confirm whether or not I wanted to pick them up. Furthermore, the quality of sleep that I got was comparable to what I get at home. The gym is the weakest aspect of the hotel. It gets the job done but it is a small room with limited options for equipment. Also, the water is not replaced very frequently. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at this location and would highly recommend it.

The room is fantastic -- almost a mini suite. Comfortable and inviting. Features a real breakfast -- eggs & bacon, waffle makers, cereal, etc. Right next door to a lot of restaurants and, if you are like me and just want groceries, a Walmart, Staff is friendly and efficient.

This is the second time we have stayed here. They have both been very pleasant experiences. The facility is readily accessible from I-10 and is located within easy walking distance to a very large shopping mall. The rooms have always been very clean and comfortable. Did not take advantage of the complimentary breakfast during our stay as the people were visiting had prepared meals for us. It did look to have enough choices to satisfy most people.

These types of hotels are all over the spectrum of quality but we've stayed at several in the Katy Mills area and this one, for the price, is the best. Cleaning staff-friendly. Front desk-helpful. Rooms-clean. Free breakfast-good. The "weekly" (vs weekend) cook, Brad was friendly, helpful and accommodating. We brought our elderly parents, so arrived to breakfast near the end of the breakfast time every morning, but he never rushed us and also brought fresh food out. Only downside: we specified handicapped room for our elderly parents, but they don't have any. One shower bar for assistance and a low sided tub is not really for an elderly handicapped person. They need at least a few rooms with "walk in" showers.

The hotel is exceptionally clean; personnel are most helpful; great location. Couldn't have been more satisfied. The desk clerk was very kind and offered our large group use of a special room for breakfast. The breakfast offered many choices, including a number of hot items (waffles, eggs, etc.). I was bringing a student group that included a number of parents and all commented favorably on their room and the hotel itself.

Large room, very clean and comfortable, smelled good, very very friendly staff, asked several times if anything was needed. Very close to our golf tournament which was a big plus! Breakfast was very nice with lots of choices. would definitely stay here again, Hot Tub would not heat.

Hotel was clean, quiet, and pleasant and perfect for a quick overnight and departure. Breakfast fresh and satisfying. Good selection of restaurants within walking distance. Avoid KFC. Mexican street taco place was excellent. Italian good as well.

I've stayed in a lot of economy hotels and this one is not as good as some of the others. It's clean and the staff is friendly. The pool was dirty with mud and leaves at the bottom (my son rated it an F) and the breakfast was okay.

After driving for 15 hours, I arrived late on a Tuesday night - and wished I had arrived earlier so I had more time to relax in my very comfortable room. A small fridge and microwave, great shower and breakfast made this stay great. As a female traveling alone, I felt safe and secure during the entire stay.

The hotel is in a good location for shopping and restaurants. The hotel is well maintained and the rooms are comfortable, offering a desk and lounge chair. The breakfast is a very good hot breakfast and well presented. The front counter staff were very helpful and polite.

I had an amazing time here! Stayed twice for a week or more and never had an issue. The young man working the desk and Brad were both professional and made me feel so welcome! I would recommend to anyone and will definitely stay again! Clean, comfortable and great food, you can't beat that!

I have stayed here twice in the last two months for a week or more. The staff is very accommodating and Brad the chef makes a great spread for breakfast. Pretty much anything you want in the morning is there. From fresh fruit to sausage to waffles it is a full deal. Great job!

I really enjoyed my visit and stay here. The breakfast attendant Brad was very friendly and was very attentive on how the breakfast taste and looked. This is one of the few hotels that actually have a full breakfast. Thank you to the staff and Brad here that made my stay very enjoy and fun.

It's a last minute booking for 2 rooms and they honored my request of saving two rooms right next to each other. Transaction was smooth (booked through TripAdvisor). Review: 1. Clean facility and room. 2. No parking problem 3. Weird smell inside the room. Mom in the other room and my husband both complained of eye irritation. I was sneezing endlessly. Son was coughing. Whatever they have inside the room, my family was allergic to. 4 Close proximity to the Katy Mall and other attractions. 5. Breakfast was typical of Best Western. 6. Bed, pillows, and blankets were all nice and comfortable. 7. Wifi is good. Will I stay again? If the price is right- definitely!

I was able to rest very well in a king suite (pull out couch sleeper) with 3 adults and 2 small children. Being close to 99, I was able to get up to some events in Northwest Houston quickly. If you don't run the A/C and are on the eastern side, the road noise may disturb some folks.

Very reasonable price for one night trip to Houston area. Very friendly staff. This is an older property located right by the Katy outlet stores. We have stayed at six different chain hotels in this exact area and this one is comparable. We had to leave early so we didn't have breakfast. The only con was that there was a very strong "cleaning odor" in the lobby and the room. Bed was comfy.

Stay in many Bestwesterns and this Bestwestern Plus is ideal for any kind of stay. Newer hotel with fresh accommodations and friendly great staff. They always recognize my reservation and we receive our same room. WI-FI is good. Breakfast is excellent. They are a short distance from good restaurants, Walmart, Katy Mills Mall and the new Water Park. Pool is only issue we've ever had with cleaning and maintenance such as non-working lights.

Everything about this property was fine except the Bed. I got up before my alarm in a time-zone two hours ahead of my home time-zone because I could not wait to get out of bed!! Just stayed one night; in town for a medical visit - but room was comfortable, and quiet. Received a nice little gift for being a Reward member. Breakfast was fair, but that's a little biased because I don't eat glutens and so have much less to choose from.

We checked in I believe at 1130pm, driving cross country to move to Carlsbad, NM. We couldn't have picked a place more comfortable. Being 3 1/2 months pregnant, being in the car for 14 hours is something in itself. My boyfriend did a damn fine job picking this hotel at the last minute.

My teenage daughter and I stayed at the Best Western Katy Inn and Suites for one night two weeks ago for an event at the Katy Mills Mall that is about a five minute walk away. We were greeted with smiles at check-in and very friendly and professional employees. The room was spotless and beds very comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised with the breakfast that was included in the rate - honestly one of the best waffles I have had at a hotel and many tasty items to choose from. This was a great place to stay on business. Would also be great for leisure as the new water park is within view of the hotel. Breakfast served every morning and they even had dinner one night at no cost to guests. Rooms were. Ice and clean. Had an issue with TV and informed the front desk, and they promptly had it fixed. Stayed 2 nights over the Memorial Day holiday. We booked a room with 2 queen beds. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was good and plentiful. The staff was very friendly and quite helpful. We didn't use the pool but the area looked nice and well kept. The hotel was within walking distance to Katy Mills and the new water park. We will definitely stay here the next time we are in the area.

Excellent hotel. Staff is extremely helpful. A good, clean, and quiet place to stay. This is a hotel that we stayed in about 6 years ago when we lost our home in a fire. Nicole Parks at the front desk remembered us from that disaster in our life and made us feel like we had a home there. Nice clean hotel near new water park, hospital and mall. Lots of resturant choices near by. Two movie theaters in the area. Walking distance to a WAL MART. Helpful staff. We stay here when in the area. Enjoyed the pool this time since it is warmer.

It was a great time during our stay at the hotel. Excellent location on the side there is a waterpark and a mall. There's Wal-Mart neighborhood in front of the location. Starbuck at the other end and easy access to freeway 10. We spent 2 nights there with our 8 month baby.

Hotel was nice, good location and clean/ comfortable rooms. Check in felt like I was an inconvenience to the clerks. They both were on their cell phones and one even spent a lot of time in the middle of my check in with a complaint on the front desk phone. I was reminded of the smoking policy and pets policy as if I was a child. I've stayed at many hotels and no one has instructed me about their policies as this clerk did. I gladly would stay at one of many other options in this area if I am going to in the future. I'm a fan of Best Westerns but this one will not be a repeat.

Kudos to Chef Brad Bawden for his incredible breakfast buffet. It wasn't the typical bagels, cereal and coffee. It included everything from waffles and eggs to homemade biscuits. The menu changed daily. In all my years of travel, I've never seen such a great "free" breakfast buffet.

Came to Texas to visit my adult children from out of state. Stayed at this hotel for a few nights. The staff Karen and Marisela were both outstanding. The room was cleaned each day and the breakfast in the lobby was good. One night there was free pizza in the lobby with chips and soda. My room had a microwave and small frig in it. There was coffee in the lobby. I can easily say this was my home away from home. Thank you for making my visit great!! This hotel comes highly recommended

This was an emergency visit because my daughter was admitted to a nearby hospital. The hotel was very convenient to the hospital. The staff was very accommodating because we were day to day when we would checkout. But the bathroom was not cleaned. Toothpaste all over. We were so tired we didn't complain.

My wife and I stayed 3 nights whilst visiting Katy to finalize our house plans. The hotel was conveniently located for our needs with a walk across the road to shops and restaurants. Staff were friendly and courteous. Our only complaint was that the bed was not as comfortable as we would have liked but overall a pleasant stay!

Clean room, black out curtains, comfortable bed, quiet location, and the nicest staff possible. (Can't comment on breakfast as I skipped it.) Only thing preventing this from getting 5 stars would be to have AC and some free weights in the gym. Awesome spot, thanks!

Always friendly staff. Best run breakfast kitchen I have encountered. We travel quite a bit and stay mainly with the Best Western chain. None are as attentive as the kitchen manager Brad at the Katy,TEXAS location.

Our long term stay has been very nice. The hotel is in the perfect location and is walking distance to Katy Mills Mall, Walmart and several fast food and seated restaurants. All of the staff have been very friendly and extremely accommodating. Brad rocks the breakfast every morning with a smile and tons of delicious options. The rotation of hot breakfast every day is great! If there is anything we need, Brad makes sure to help us out.

Hotel is in a good location for the Mall, Walmart and Antonio's restaurant is worth a visit. The breakfast is not to International expectations but Bradley is a credit to the hotel with his friendly service and attention to detail. Hotel rooms are clean and well presented, except the carpets which are showing signs of wear and tear. Airco on occasions sounded like a helicopter hovering above the car park but luckily stopped later in the evening.

Nice rooms. Very comfortable beds. The breakfast was not only great with hot foods such as eggs and the Texas shaped waffle machine, but the sitting area to be able to enjoy the nice offering was expansive and a nice change from the cramped breakfast areas so many motels have.

This hotel was wonderful! Clean, spacious and comfortable rooms to start. The breakfast hours were convenient and the food was great. Heavily utilized the free internet during our stay. House keeping didn't come to early so we enjoyed our sleep as well. :) We'd stay here again for sure!

We always stay here when in Katy Texas. Nice, clean property. Near two movie theaters and Katy Mills mall, Bass pro shop and resturants. Easy on and off I-10. Wal Mart less than just accross the street if you need some last minute shopping. Large parking lot if you need to park a trailer and an automoblie.

Great service, rooms, and breakfast. Will stay again. Cleaning service did a wonderful job. Close to many shops and restaurants. Quick access to Highway 10. Katy is a great city and Best Western is a great Suite/Inn.

My husband myself and my two daughters visited this hotel which is in our hometown. I had stayed at this hotel a couple of years ago and it was extremely clean. So we are doing our kitchen and have to stay somewhere for a couple of days while the floors were being put in. I just have to say this hotel lives up to the standards it did a couple of years ago it is extremely clean I stayed on the first and second floor it smells good and there is not one piece of dirt anywhere in this hotel. And I will say the breakfast is absolutely delicious they have several different varieties of things for breakfast they have muffins a full breakfast pancakes eggs tortillas breakfast taco sausage yogurt Silk milk chocolate milk different choices of coffee different choices of milk regular syrup and sugar free syrup waffles and fresh fruit. The breakfast attendant Brad is extremely kind and goes out of his way to make sure everything is refilled and hot and it is honestly the cleanest breakfast area at any hotel I have ever seen. He make sure everything is fully stocked and they do not run out of anything. Thank you Best Western Katy and Brad for making our stay very comfortable with small children. Keep up the good work. The hotel is all non smoking,very clean with a hot breakfast daily. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. The only issue I have is with the noisy air/heat unit. It is so loud as to interrupt sleep and while watching television the volume must be raised to hear every time the unit turns on.

My adult daughter and I came into Houston from San Antonio for a business meeting. We needed to stay in the Houston area for one night and we decided on Katy for logistical reasons. This Best Western Plus is clean and seemed safe. No real extra frills. Very small Bathroom. We did not eat breakfast there. However, the wifi was good. If you need a clean, safe hotel to spend the night this hotel is a good option.

Great place to stay for work related conference nearby. I reserved a basic room for myself, but when I mentioned I was there for work and would be doing work from my room in the evenings, the receptionist upgraded my room to a King with sofa and coffee table so that I could also work from there and the desk the room had. Was great to be able to spread out my stuff and not be so cluttered. Breakfast was provided and was standard waffles, cereals, pastries, etc. Room was very clean and A/C unit worked too well (got room cold really fast!). Location is also convenient to an outlet mall, Walmart, and several restaurants. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Not only was this hotel clean and beautiful, it offered easy access to freeway entrances and food -- good food. Comfy beds, great HD TV and a fun goody bag. If you need to stay in Katy, this is an excellent option.

The chef, Brad Bawden, was there and answered all of our questions. He was very helpful and knew where everything was. The breakfast had everything we could think of, lots of choices, and was the best hotel breakfast we have had in a long time. The scrambled eggs were great, light and fluffy, not rubbery or runny. Lots of fresh fruit, lots of bakery goodies, lots of variety of breads. 3 kinds of freshly brewed coffee. The waffle station included strawberry, honey and other toppings.

This is a nice clean property next to great attractions. We stay here at least 4 times a year. Always nice. There are several resturants and 2 movie theaters nearby. A new waterpark will open in May 2016 less than a half mile from this hotel.

Gotta love it when you walk in the door of a Best Western and it smells like NEW carpet. Nice touch with the color and pattern on the new bedding. Bathroom showers have been completely redone, and there is now a Silestone-type product on shower walls. Very clean. Oh, and our remote came in a little bag thingy that says it's "fresh." Not sure how they freshen them, but it's a nice touch. ;)

Best Western Plus Katy TX Vibe: Business Atmosphere: Warm, friendly, safe, clean. Food: Breakfast in the morning was fine. A variety of bread, waffles, fruit eggs, and bacon that was the thinnest narrowest I've ever seen. It was fine just nothing I've seen before. Service: Friendly, accommodating( they gave us a late checkout no charge and moved us as the result of a noisy heater fan ). Cost: reasonable Repeat: Yes, we already did. We only planned one night and needed a second. We went back for the second night.

My wife and I live in San Antonio and came here to visit her mother who's battling cancer in a nearby Skilled Nursing Facility and had stayed here a couple weeks ago. Were so happy with the motel and room from our previous stay we didn't consider staying anywhere else. Excellent breakfasts made by Brad Bawden. He kept fresh made scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, etc. coming. The motel even offers a free supper on Wednesday evenings. We highly recommend this motel and like that they honor AARP discounts, too. Very nice rooms and very clean also.

My boyfriend and I trucked into Texas from Illinois.....very long and bumpy ride so after delivering the load we were both tired. I called a few hotels in the area however at that point in time they had nowhere to park a semi and trailer. Last on the list was this place. We checked in about 10pm and it took less than 5 minutes. The young gentleman at the front was so courteous, thanks Sherjeel Shaikh. The room was very clean and welcoming. I expected a bed with springs sticking in my back but the bed was sooooo comfy. There was a microwave, coffee maker, iron and ironing board and a hair dryer included. There's a huge HD TV with lots of channels to keep you entertained. To top it of they serve a full breakfast, eggs, sausages/bacon, biscuits and gravy or hash browns, a variety of breads and pastries, coffees and teas. You can make your own waffle if you please. Fruits and yogurt was also available. Sherjeel Shaikh served breakfast on the weekend, great job, the food was delicious. I will definitely be back. From now on whenever I'm in the Katy area I will be staying at the Best Western Plus.

The Best Western Plus Katy Inn & Suites has been wonderful to us. Our daughter has been getting chemo & we travel into Katy every other week for her treatments. The entire staff is great. The room is always clean and ready when we arrive. They have a great breakfast and Brad (the chef) is always so thoughtful. It has been our home away from home for several months now.

Hotel is well kept, room was clean and neat with nice size flat screen TV. Breakfast was very good with a good selection of breakfast foods, fruit and pastries. Clean room, fantastic breakfast made by Khizar (very nice, efficient and friendly guy), close to malls and restaurants. They also offered free shuttle to PetroSkills and free pickup from malls. Will definitely stay again.

The location was convenient for our visit with family. There was small mall across the street, a Starbucks next door and a ChuckECheese directly behind. Great fun for the kids (all ages). I got the coffee--others played the games and had pizza. The hotel was very good, we were surprised when on checking in discovered the staff had provided a free dinner catered by the local Italian restaurant. We were tired, not looking forward to going out so this was great. The only negative, as the rooms were kept very well, The hall carpet was not vacuumed once during our entire stay. Crumbs and small debris that was there when we checked in was still there when we left. They also had no thinner pillows to offer. The thick pillows gave me a stiff neck. The breakfast room was lovely and well supplied with a good variety of options. It was kept clean and coffee and tea were available 24/7.

The breakfast and person in charge of preparing was very nice and accommodating. I think his name was Sherjeel Sheukh and he was very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is close to many things and kinds of entertainment. the rooms were clean and noise level was low.

My stay here was lovely, breakfast was good lots of stuff to choose from, the staff are very helpful and will recommend this place to colleagues and friends. The rooms are neat, room service is prompt. Is located closes the mall and food hot spots. Caren and Khizor Sheik are really helpful. I won't mind staying here again. David

Excellent customer service. The breakfast in the morning was great! I had my two young sons with me and breakfast breakfast can be a challenge to get ready and served while trying to keep two boys from running circles around me. The manager saw I was struggling and came over and helped me serve breakfast while I watched my boys. I will come back here for that simple act alone.

I have stayed at this BW Plus three times now and each visit has been outstanding. The location provides easy access to I-10, is adjacent to Katy Mills with plenty of shopping, and there are some very good dining choices within walking or short driving distance. The grounds are clean and I always feel quite safe. I travel almost weekly and ask for some very basic things out of a hotel which are cleanliness, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable bedding, safety, good internet and a location which affords me good dining options. This BW Plus hits the mark in all areas and I highly recommend it.

We stayed for 3 nights Oct. 9-12, 2015. Had 2 rooms. One with a king bed the other with 2 queen beds. I had asked, before arriving, to be near each other. We were across from each other on the 3rd floor. Thank you. The rooms had a mini frig, microwave & coffee pot. There is free wifi. Free breakfast 6:30-9:30am. Which you can have pastries, cold cereal, hot cereal, fruits, scrambled eggs, sausage, make your own waffles, (one day there was biscuits & gravy) yogurt, juice, coffee, milk. The pool area is open 10am-10pm. The hot tub is not heated unless you tell them ahead of time you are going to use it. All employees, front desk, kitchen, housekeeping, are friendly. Beds are comfortable. The day we left the nice young man working the front desk offered to print up directions to Hobby Airport when I said where we were flying out of. I didn't double check it (actually forgot there were 2 different airports) until we arrived at the wrong one. Missed our flight by 5 minutes. By the time we got to the correct airport and to the gate, the plane was still there, but the doors were closed so we were out of luck. We did get another flight, but it wasn't straight through like we had. Ended up getting home nearly 9 hours later than originally planned. So I recommend if you get directions from the hotel, make sure it is to the right place. Besides having to request the hot tub be heated and being given wrong directions, we enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to others.

Did really have any kind of expectations, just needed 4 wall, a bed & a bucket to pee in but this hotel was VERY nice & we were completely taken aback with how nice it was & how friendly the staff & even other guests were.

Friends recommend this hotel to me due to them having a great experience so I decided to check the hotel out when I was headed to visit my family in the Katy area. I called to get information and I was helped with amazing service by a lady named Karen. I showed up to get my room and she remembered me by name and had everything ready to go. She also did tell me that breakfast was included and to not hesitate to call if I had any issues with the hotel. The hotel was nice and clean and the location was great right next to Katy Mills Mall. 5 stars!

This is a very nice Best Western property. It has a perfect location for traveler's right off of the highway. It is close to restaurants, grocery, and any other shopping needs you may have. The rooms were quiet, nicely decorated and clean! The outdoor pool area was very relaxing, although not real large. The staff members were super friendly and informative about the area. The property offers free WIFI and a complimentary breakfast. We enjoyed our stay here and were pleased we selected this location versus traveling to Houston where hotels were considerably more expensive.

Step #1: Find the hotel. It couldn't have been any easier. Coming from San Antonio, took the Katy Mills Blvd exit off of I-10, turned right (south) onto Katy Mills Blvd, and there it was. Had 3 entrances to choose from, so easily made the 2nd one. Ample parking in front so.. Step #2: Check In. Young lady at the front desk, warm and friendly greeting, looked up my reservation on the computer, verified my choices and asked me if I preferred the 2nd or 3rd floor. I mentioned that since I was only two weeks out of major left shoulder surgery, the closer to the door the better. She took one look at my sling, pad, and Velcro straps running every which direction and asked me to wait a few seconds while she checked on something. She came back and let me know that there was a room on the first floor I could have! I can't say how thankful I was, this had to be a first for me, a hotel that gave me what I asked for, and more. Step #3: The room. Ordered a single King bed, refrigerator, coffee pot, iron, closet, bathroom, and of course Wi-Fi (high speed no less!). The electronic lock took a couple of tries, seems that even at 68 I'm too fast for some of the modern equipment. Once in the room, it was all there, very clean, well kept, and already at 75 degrees. The entire hotel is a non-smoking zone, and the room smelled good. My sensitive sinuses couldn't find anything to complain about. Room noise was surprisingly minimal for being street side. Definitely could hear the kids above us jumping onto the floor from the bed, but not normal walking, and only minimal noise from doors slamming. Bed was very comfortable, and plenty of pillows. Large LCD TV with remote and a bunch of stations to choose from including several HBO's. Plenty of outlets to plug in all the chargers and equipment. One desk chair and one padded chair with ottoman (it would have been nice to have 2 padded chairs instead of having to sit on the bed). Step #4: Shopping. Does anyone else find that there's always something they forgot, and need to find a store when they're on a trip? Well with this hotel, Wal-Mart is only 3 blocks away, and the Katy Mills Mall is about ½ mile (to the nearest end of that gawd-awfully gigantic complex). Spent from 9am to 3pm to complete the entire circle of the mall, and another first.. The wife said she was totally “Shopped Out”!!! On Sunday we had the grandson and the AMC theater complex was reasonably priced as well as the 15 year old being able to refill his large drink on the way out. Step #5: “Full Breakfast”. I believe it was from 6:30 to 9:30, we got there around 8:30 and all the offerings were fresh and warm. There were scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns, fresh fruit, cereals, coffee, and many other items, and my favorite, a chocolate covered donut. A staff member was on hand checking to make sure we could find what we needed, and to keep the place clean. Sure beats the “Continental Breakfast” I've always had in the past. Summation: We'll definitely be staying here again thanks to excellent service from the staff, and the hotel's very convenient location. I highly recommend this hotel if you're visiting the west side of Houston.

We haven't stayed at a best western in forever so we were not sure what to expect. It was a quick trip for a funeral during a holiday weekend so hotels were booked all over. When we got to our room we were very pleased at how nice and clean and comfortable the hotel was. Kudos! We liked it so much that we booked another best western plus the next day in another city on our way home.

This hotel is always my choice when I'm staying outside of Houston. My company allows me to stay at other hotels, but this hotel has by far the best hospitality in the area and has clean rooms. Both Karen and Marisela always make sure my reservations are taken care of and make sure I am aware of the current promotions for my Best Western Rewards membership.
