Best Western Hotel River C

My dad and I stayed one night during a roadtrip around Vänern. Check-in was fast and the room clean (but otherwise on the small side and very simple). We had a nice view over the river from the 6th floor and appreciated that we could fully open the window during the night. Breakfast was simple, but adequate. We easily found parking on the street and a ICA supermarket just a few minutes walk away. We were happy with our stay, but found it a bit pricy given the basic room and breakfast.

Excellent location on the water and trails. Tasty breakfast buffet and a quiet location, except for the occasional seagull.

With its great location, great breakfast and most importantly super friendly and service minded staff and leadership, made our stay in Karlstad great. If you're looking for a smaller hotel with attentive and engaging team, look no further. Much appreciated and a given destination for future stays. Thank you

very nice hotel, calm & clean and a very good price for one night, near the congress hall in Karlstad and of course the river is just outside , 5 minutes walk to the city center and a little more to the harbour area, a comfortable bed, a good breakfast and vety nice staff made the stay very pleasent In warmer weather you could enjoy longer walk on the river shore and within 5 minutes you have a variety of restaurants to choose among for a nice dinner I recomend it

Got special deal price form the app then book herr. The first impression is the Nice location by the River and the old beautiful bridge of the town. Reception and welcome drinks that ready for self serve all day and night at the lobby lounge. Spacious, cozy and Nice view in the lobby lounge that can relax all day long too. Nice room with Nice breakfast too.

Had a great stay! The Hotel was a bit worn, BUT!!!; had a great stay!!! The location was fantastic: close to everything the city of Karlstad had to offer! The coffee was GREAT!!! Had TOO MUCH!!! The breakfast was minimal, but had really great stuff anyways, so, I was really happy with what I had as it was enough from what to choose from and fresh. Last but not least, the staff was just AMAZING!!! SO friendly and helpful!!!! This puts a BIG plus on this hotel plus the great location! Very happy with our stay!

The hotel located just beside the congress centre, it is a small and cozy with it´s six stories and I think only nine rooms on each floor. My room was really nice with double bed and a sitting area, also a nice view over the nearby roofs and canal. Spacious bathroom, and comfortable bed everything immaculate and clean. The breakfast area, adjacent to the lobby is quite quiet, and gives a relaxing start of the day. The usual assortment of breakfast options, but also including Belgian waffles, smoked salmon and more. Parking is offered in a nearby public space at a fixed rate, and you pay in the hotel. If some exercise is desired, the river is just outside and along that you can take a good walk. So good value for money and a very pleasant stay.
