We enjoy staying at Sure Stay. People are very helpful, friendly and respectful. Also, extra bonus they have smoking rooms. I would suggest if you smoke and do not want to go outside stay there. Their breakfast are good and the internet is great. We always get a king-size bed and it is very comfortable. Terri B

The property is very nice and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Location is convenient, the room was clean and included amenities such as a coffee machine and several towels. The checkout process was easy and simple, as was the checkin process and reserving the room also. My overall experience was great, I plan on booking again in the future.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times now when I need to travel to the KC area. The staff are wonderful, the rooms are huge and always clean. The beds are comfortable and plush. The location is incredibly convenient to North KC, the airport, downtown and multiple are favorite restaurants.

The pillows were very fluffy, beds are comfortable. Very easy to get too right off the Interstate. The front desk people are excellent, personnel and very wiling to work with me. Great place to spend the night. I would recommend you try the hotel. Terri B

THIS BEST WESTERN IS A GREAT PLACE TO VISIT AND STAY. THE FRONT DESK PERSONNEL WERE FRIENDLY, FULL OF SMILES AAND HELPFUL BASED UPON YOUR NEEDS AND PHYSICAL CONDITION. BREAKFAST WAS GOOD AND THE ROOM WAS A CLEAN, NICE SMELLING PLACE TO SPEND THE NIGHT. GREAT STAY.

This place and room (beds were very comfortable, tv was in a great location) was A+ for us. My partner did not have to go outside to smoke which made it very comfortable for us. The only thing I would suggest is maybe having an extra blanket in the room.

First room smelled heavy of cigarette smoke, stains all over chair, drug paraphernalia found in room. Asked to be moved. 2nd room.. better but stepped on foil that had drug burns on it. Dirty overall.

We stayed here at the last minute on a road trip. Fairly standard BW, good rooms, clean, and breakfast was good - loved the mini burrito's! Pool was not open and our remote wouldn't work, other than that it was a good stay and we'd stay again.

The room smelled like mildew or old smoke smell. Breakfast was subpar, I would definitely recommend staying at a different best western was not best experience. I'm a premium member and other locations I've stayed at have been a lot better .

If you are looking for a clean place to sleep in a convenient location right off the highway, this place is fine. If you are looking for fancy, this isn't it. For our purposes, it was what we needed. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

King bed room was excellent. Plenty of pillows, a good refrigerator, clean carpets, daily new towels, etc upon request. Great wifi. Friendly staff. Couldn't ask for a better place when wanting to stay several days in Kansas City North.

The full breakfast was subpar, since full indicates either bacon or sausage available. Upon requesting if it existed, I was told no. The Taquitos looked old. When I had issues with the room and breakfast, I had to look for the person at the front desk. One of the lights did not work. Light over the light switch to the sink was poor. The TV and radio were unplugged. When the TV was plugged in, it did not work. When the issues in the room were reported to the front desk, that person did not write it down, which made me think that he may forget about it.

After a long day in K.C. it was a good place to stay, at a reasonable rate. Plain basic hotel, but it was clean and decent. Check in was quick and efficient. Breakfast was what was expected. Would use again.

We had a room mix up that was handled appropriately. Room was good. Shower was great--strong water flow. Crappy 1 cup coffee makers. The seal around the door allowed you to see all around the door . But it was OK

Grounds were clean and smell of indian food when we entered lobby. However, the gentlemen were very professional and didn't seem bothered with all of our questions! lol ....It was nice to feel welcomed like that with great service. The maids were superb and kept towels folded neatly as well and cool designs.

Very comfortable hotel. Price was good, and it is close to Kansas City downtown. The roomas are a little dated, but clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. The only minus is the limited breakfast. Everything else was great.

The staff are more than helpful and the maids kept the rooms very clean. If you stay more than 1 night you must tell them beforehand if you want rooms service, not a big issue for us but they were thorough. Front desk helped with luggage and didn't mind doing extra leg work!

Kris and his staff are very kind. Rooms are clean and cozy. We will be back. The over night staff is very friendly prompt and attentive. Before we found this place we stopped at a different hotel and decided not to stay. It was late when we arrived here and the staff was pleased to help us.

This very worn old motel they rebranded is pretty bad I stayed in dozens of BW in Canada and USA this year and 4 on this trip they were all similar except this disappointment It shouldnt be allowed to be a BW Issues in point form On check in the guy at the counter tried to charge me money for a room I booked with reward points no amount of arguing with him could convince him i didnt So i paid and the owner in the morning reversed it My brothers 1rst room had no sheets and full garbages 2nd room he got a room whose toilet wouldn't flush This crap wasnt what we felt like dealing with after 12 hours of driving we checked in at 12 am The room Old outdated dingy Alarm across room by front door No light in sink area had to use my phone to shave No Plugs had to unplug a lamp to charge my phone Breakfast Normally there are 3 or 4 hot choices There was only craptastic brekfast burrito and this wasnt in the last 20 mins of it The rest of the offerings was poor The owner/manager asked me b4 i left did i enjoy my stay i told him point blank worst best western i ever stayed in his response? Not oh what happened No how did we fail to measure up Nope he went with ok sorry to hear that and went about his day couldnt have cared less which i guess is the issue hes either incompetent or doesnt care.

All the guys were very helpful and extremely polite. Small language disconnect but we could understand. They always were moving fast and going out of their way to assist us and other guests as well. Gave us list of restaurants and came to our room for towel/toothpaste request very promptly.

Room not clean!!!!!! There was what appeared to be black mold around the edge of tub where it is caulked. Also there was dirt and dust in the area of the floor where the carpet and tile of the bathroom floor meet. Also the sheets appeared to have been slept in already.

Maybe not good area for families but for my crew and I it was very ideal. We like the outdoor entry so we can pull our trucks right up to our door and step outside to smoke. And it was very quiet after 10pm so we got good sleep every day for 5 days. The nice fellows at the front desk were very helpful and gave us great recommendations

We needed quick access to downtown for a concert and the Power and Light district. This location was perfect for that and also very close to the theme parks which we went to the next day. The staff was very friendly and we found the rooms to be very clean and cold during this extreme hot day. Oh and thank the lady during breakfast for serving us the hot burritos!

That was the dirtiest most disgusting Best Western location I've ever stayed at. The furniture was stained, the carpet felt yucky, and the general cleanliness left a lot to be desired. I'm sure Kansas City has much better to offer!

This Best Western is outdated. It had a musty odor. The furniture is old and worn, the mattress was uncomfortable. The breakfast was terrible, we had to go somewhere else to eat breakfast. There were no outlets beside the bed. We stayed one night and when I checked out they told me I owed another night's stay. Fortunately I had my receipt from the night before showing them we stayed one night and it was paid for.

Stopped here for a night while traveling. Only slept for a few hours. Selected this hotel because it was one of few I could find that allowed cats. I would have rather slept in my car. Only saving grace was the friendly staff, which I did appreciate.

The staff did not have an attitude with us at all and we have been experience lower service standards in every business avenue lately. Whether its restaurants, fast food and motels. This one stood out with their service, smiles and going the extra mile to help us and provide us extra information and even bringing amenities like towels and razors to our room. They are not even a full service motel!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. They are pet friendly which was important for me, as I was traveling with my dog cross-country. Breakfast is free and included hot items such as potatoes, sausage links, and eggs.

Due to unforeseen circumstances we had to stay at the hotel for an extended stay. The staff was very accommodating each time I had to extend the reservation. Friendly and professional. Clean & comfortable

Right off highway, small property behind a gas station. Rooms are exterior but very clean in my opinion. The people who work here are very pleasant and helpful. Downtown is a quick drive 4miles south and also the theme park Worlds of Fun is just 4mi east of here as well.

The pool was closed but we knew that already. The employees are very friendly and always ready to help. We noticed they were training new maids and they were very good at servicing our room...we had to request at the front desk though. Seems staffing issues are rampant everywhere.

Hotel was clean, looking like they're updating gradually, but web site listed a hot tub which they have recently removed. That was one of reasons I booked this particular hotel, pretty disappointed in that aspect. Everything else was average, nice breakfast, nice employees

Not much for amenities but the rooms were clean and the area was quiet. I thought a bit high for a nights stay but it seems all the hotels are high right now. Friendly staff, right off the freeway. Minimal breakfast items

It was easy to book a reservation. Check in and out was quick and easy. Room was clean and comfortable. We had no problems or issues during our stay. If I'm in the area again this will be my place to stay.

I travel a lot and don't require much for my amenities. This place is simple, clean and the staff are very courteous. They will deliver fresh towels to my room and print me directions or whatever I may request. Other small things are made up for by the service here. And the KC Country Inn North is right off the highway as well!

If I could give this motel zero stars I would. Worst experience I have ever had with hotels. The pictures are deceiving and the location was horrible. The only thing that was good about the motel was the young man that checked us in. To make a long story short, we checked in, went to the room and the first thing I noticed was a smokey musty smell. A few minutes pass and I go outside to find a man dressed in all black with a ski mask on walking around the parking lot looking into cars. He then got into his car which was parked next to mine, sped out when when he noticed us watching him, then a few short minutes later he was back. The location was clearly unsafe so we left the motel that night, we weren't even there for an hour. We ended staying at a different hotel. When I called to get my money back for the room there was only a "15 minute grace period" from the time we checked in. It was the worst experience. I will NOT be staying at any Best Western from here on out. 0 out of 5 , keep scrolling and find yourself a different hotel.

Sent 3 nights here for the NASCAR race. They won't clean your room unless you ask to be in the list. They won't clean your room if you are on the list and not checking out that day. They will threaten to call the police on you when you demand they give you fresh towels and clean room. Sheets had stains and they make you train them out yourself at the front desk. For Nest Western claiming to be top on cleanliness, that has been proven a lie this trip.

Room smelled like a urine-filled ashtray. Bed and chair were stained. I literally slept with a face mask on because of the air quality. Place was advertised as newly renovated— what a joke. We asked for a refund so we could leave and find another hotel, and were refused. We heard yelling all night long, and slept on our own blankets because we were too scared to sleep on their linens. All this for the low price of $270. Shameful. AVOID!

This hotel is an older one with the doors to your room accessible from the outside near the parking spaces. Clean & roomy with a comfortable bed. Bathroom was clean. Separate sink from the toilet is nice. Small fridge & microwave in room. Hotel is close by to many eating establishments. We liked that it was dog friendly with only $20 more pet fee. All in all, perfectly adequate for our needs.

Management was polite, professional, pleasant, and helpful. The room was very clean and comfy. The only negative was the lighting in the vanity area - it was not the best, but I considered this minor.

I stopped in Kansas City on my way to Topeka. The roads were bad so made an unexpected pit stop. The location was great and the rooms were heated for me upon arrival! They said they had a reservation cancel so it was preheated for me 8). Makes sense because there is no reason to keep all heaters on and waste that energy. Anyhow the rooms were clean and the staff was very nice.

I travel very frequently for work and take my family with me most of the time. I've stayed in 5 star hotels etc and I was forced to stay at this location due to weather and location. At first we were not happy but once we were greeted and given a phone call upon entering our room to see how we were doing we felt welcome. The front desk gave extra blankets, free water and just made my husband and I at home. The kids played in the snow and at one point the manager had a playful snowball fight with them. Was great to see them enjoy! Next time we are in this neck of the woods we will be back!

Our check in took a little long because I believe the new guy was training. The room was clean and cozy, we got a good nights sleep! The morning person was the manager and very welcoming. He gave us directions to the downtown areas, thank you.

I booked this motel because it was close access to where I wanted to be. After checking in I found the room to be clean and the internet to be super fast (they had Google Fiber from checking their IP). It met my needs and I'm glad I found it

I have stayed here twice. There are other Best Western motels to stay at, and I would recommend that you go to another motel for a better experience. The rooms are dated, not updated as advertised. The pictures on the Best Western website are not the actual pictures of the rooms. Cleanliness was also an issue stains on the bedspread, the furniture, and towels. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. Don't worry there won't be a third.

The room I was assigned was "non smoking" but smelled heavily of smoke. Everything in the room was unpleasant. The TV remote didn't work properly. The property was loud, which isn't necessarily the hotels fault, but noise easily made it's way into my room.

If you are looking for a great hotel that is simple but nice and clean then this is the place for you. Reasonable rates, away from the noise and yet only 10 to 15 minutes away from a lot of stuff. We went to see the Auschwitz exhibit at Union Station and we just wanted a nice hotel to stay at. The people in the office are very nice and I would go again. In fact, this WAS my second stay, I was here in K.C. in May to see the same exhibit and stayed at the same hotel! L. Allen

This is a motel. In a pretty run down area. No sign on the motel to know what it is. There was partying all night. Smokers outside our door. Dogs barking. It was the most ridiculously awful overnight stay we've ever paid for.

Mario fixed our toilet, researched how many dominos we needed for Mexican train, and gave us a bunch of laughs. Great stay. Restaurant in the hotel is a country kitchen. Excellent. Why does my review have to be 200 characters?!

This hotel is clean, friendly staff, there is a gas station, liquor store, and a dominos with in walking distance, very convenient. But kinda sketchy area, it was 100 degrees outside and No Pool Very Disappointing!! O! They had a pool just not open.

Bed was soft and comfortable. TV got all the channels we were interested in. There was no breakfast, but website said it was included. The room felt humid - the AC didn't dry things out as well as it should have. Not an exciting stay, but adequate.

The lighting was poor. The room smelled of smoke (especially with the humidity). I called to let the checkin clerk know...she said something to the effect of "...the cleaning staff will have to try harder"..... The check out person said it was good I told him or we may have been charged extra. WHAT???!!! No effort to change us to another room nor no offer for compensation for a nearly $100 room. Motel 6 offers better.

nice location, pet friendly. I like that I can park right in front of the room. we did have some problem with internet but front desk person was great help with that. and bunch of restaurant around was great addition.

The room was dirty. The shower had dirt on the wall (dirty hand prints) and it appeared that the carpet had not been vacuumed (dog hairs galore). The only clean part was the bed. The front desk told me that they were now a pet friendly hotel (no problem, I love dogs) and that they were having a problem getting housekeeping staff. Charging $20 for pets should mean that you spend extra time cleaning the room, but this room was minimally cleaned. I have 2 sons who live less than a mile from this hotel and I have stayed here before and never had a problem with cleanliness.

I came with my family of 4 (3 children) ....we went to lego land and the aquarium suggested by the staff. Rooms were clean and the property was as well. The walls were a little thing however we had a great nights sleep. We thank the morning person for the great service. The evening staff needed attention to the work attire was my only complaint. I will be visiting again soon! Thank you

A lot of hotels in the “.north” Kansas City area are really ghetto this one is worth the price and the employees make checking in and out easy! You don't have to worry about anything while you stay there!

Was a good visit - good check-in experience, and the room was clean and no problems. Was not told at check-in there would be no daily maid service, so that was a surprise; we could get towels from the front desk. Desk help was very good. The lot across the street was under construction, and the dust/dirt covered the cars - not a big deal.

Beautiful property hiding right next to everything you need. Clean rooms, helpful staff, and for an older property you'd think it's brand new. They keep up with the times and make you feel right at home. Country Inn is a perfect name for a place nestled right in the city.

Very pleasant stay on several levels: reasonable price, very clean room, comfortable bed. We like direct room access rather than long interior hallways. The grab-and-go breakfast was a smart, healthy option during covid times. 15 minute drive to downtown KC.

This place is terrible. Weed and drugs being used in parking lot, no elevators, walls so thin you can hear EVERY sex sound in the room next door all night long, towels very thin and worn, BEDS ARE AWFUL. There is no way you'll get a decent night sleep in room 204. It's like sleeping on a warped piece of plywood and I swear the sheets were just turned inside out for a re-use. Absolutely disgusting. And the employees couldn't care less. Do yourself a favor and stay else where. I know know we'll never return.

The front desk agent assisted me with my car getting jumped in the morning, he had his own cables....I was very thankful. They came to my room and replenished my towels upon request in a very fast manner as well. The staff was very prompt and knowledgeable

This is a nice place to stay. Somewhat dated but was clean and the guy at the desk was always very friendly and helpful. Would stay there again. Older motel with outside entrances to rooms. Bed seemed to be very clean. Needed hair dryer and staff brought right down to us.

Have stayed here multiple times. It's a perfect location for getting downtown easily and easy access to all things to do in KC. Staff are always very helpful and friendly. The to-go breakfast under COVID conditions was perfect.

I was greeted very cordially by Aaron & Kris at the front desk. Stand up gentlemen and were friendly with my pet and made sure I was taken care of. They showed where I could walk my dog and gave me some plastic bags as well. There was a small $20 fee but understandable. The rooms' TV had showtime channels and a guide on the TV which was helpful. The cleanliness was fantastic and shower pressure was top notch, my wife loved that part!

So I had to go to Kc for a short overnight stay. I booked this hotel through an email with a % off. Mind you, I am a platimum member, so I get emails all the time for % off. Needless to say, I finally got to Kc Wednesday night, February 17, 2021. First problem, not thanked for being a platimum member. Second problem, the clerks do not read the notes on the reservations. I specifically asked for a ground floor king, which I know they have. I booked this room at noon that morning and arrived after 10 pm that not. They could have set a king room for my reservation but failed to do so. So I had to take a double. I went in my room, turned on the heat, ate dinner and got ready for a shower. Mind you, last week in KC, the temps were really cold. After my shower, which is the only good thing I can say about this room, I was standing in front of the sink brushing my teeth. From under the sink/wall area, I felt a freezing breeze on my feet. Not what you would expect from a sink that is enclosed. Also the light anove the sink, very yellow. It makes you look like you have a bad spray on tan. Later I tried turning the heat down because it was getting pretty warm in the room, but the unit wouldn't kick off. I turned the unit all the way down to 61, but it still wouldn't kick off. After calling the front desk and the clerk came over and agreed with me it should be cycling, she would call and find out what to do. She left and I never heard back from her. ALL NIGHT LONG, I HAD TO GET UP TO EITHER TURN THE UNIT OFF BECAUSE IT WAS TO HOT OR BACK ON BECAUSE IT WAS TO COLD IN THE ROOM!!!!! All night!!! I got about 3 hours of sleep. When I checked out the next morning, the same clerk that came to the room finally appeared in the office AFTER I walked in and paced for a couple minutes then loudly said HELLO. I questioned her why I didn't hear back from her the night before, she said she contacted someone, but they said there was nothing they could do that night and it would have to wait until morning. She also told me Kris would probably contact me about the problem later that day. I never heard from him on Thursday. I waited for a few days, even tried calling one day this week, the phone just rang and rang. I sent an email. Unfortunately his response went to my spam mail, but Kris claims the unit is working fine and there's nothing he can do for me. In all honesty, if Kris really was concerned about the issue I had, he would have called me on the day I checked out. It took me sending an email and giving the hotel a bad review on their survey to get a response from him. This hotel is going down hill. There was a car in the parking lot covered in inches of snow, which tells me it has been sitting for days untouched. Do not stay here!! They don't care about the guests. All they worry about is the money. The rooms need updated big time. New staff or better training to recognize elite members. Upgrade rooms for those guests period.

The people here are very kind, I came after their grab and go was finished and was still offered food from the clerk. My son was very happy to have yogurt and some juice. My check-in experience was smooth and enjoyable. We discussed dining options and shared a couple laughs as well, the small things I usually remember.

Lobby was very modern looking, didn't expect that. Good design, rooms probably need small updates but were very clean during these Covid times. Staff extremely helpful and friendly, never felt like I was bothering them with my questions and requests. Thank you

I was pleased with maid staff, do a very thorough job here...I noticed upon my check in. Staff as well were great. I like the fact they use special covid spray cleaner on all surfaces and all employees wear masks too.

I good good nights quiet sleep in the beds and the shower pressure was great! Quick easy access to the interstate which led me straight to my job site. Options for breakfast were open for me to choose what I like which I liked instead of the usual bag.

I have stayed in 2 Best Westerns on this trip, so they sent me a $ 25 off gift card. I booked this Best Western, and realized it is a low budget motel. It might be nice for a motel, but if we wanted a motel, we could have booked a Super 8 or Microtel for less. The room is clean, but smells like smoke from the last occupant. Whether it has been wiped down and cleaned for Covid, who knows. Very little services. Breakfast is a grab and go. Definitely notup to Best Western standards, To my followers: You will be disappointed for sure. Everyone is outside their room smoking, and throwing the butts on the walkway. Lower class clientele. If that is what you are looking for, it is perfect for you.

This is the second time that I have stayed at this motel. The first time the hairdryer wouldn't work. But, the desk clerk brought me a new one in a box. And, the phone didn't work, no dial tone. This time the coffee maker wouldn't work and the desk clerk said she couldn't bring me one, that maintenance wouldn't be there for an hour or two. Also, the night before the guests above me sounded like they were training for a marathon. They were stomping back and forth and sounded like they were jumping from the bed to the floor. This continued until well after midnight. I needed to be up around 7 am. Also, there was a man on a bicycle in the parking lot, in front of my room. The clerk told me he was with the woman next door. I figured there was going to be fighting all night, but thankfully that didn't happen. Also, I'm an elite member, and though this facility doesn't have upgrades, it's just an ordinary motel, with not extras, the previous clerk generously awarded me popcorn and a candy bar. This clerk this time refused and said that they couldn't do it. Really? The one in St. Charles was a plus facility and upgraded my room to a suite. So, this one couldn't part with a candy bar? Apparently their housekeeping staff doesn't check the appliances to see if they work. This was a very disappointing stay. I may have to look for a different motel, that you can rely on their appliances working, and will have quiet neighbors. Very disappointed. I usually have good luck with Best Western. But, the last two times have been let downs.

From desk girl was nice but didn't offer breakfast due to covid-19 and had. I got alternative or decent replacement just cereal bars and juice and coffee from the machines. Not acceptable when booking a hotel and paying a price for a place that is supposed to have breakfast.

Very efficient place to stay, right off the interstate which can take you downtown, airport within' 10 minutes. The staff and rooms exceeded my expectations considering the exit the hotel was at. Breakfast was plentiful as always and everybody was helpful. My second or third time here and will stay again.

This isn't a motel you're going to on your honeymoon but for weary travelers it was perfect. A bit worn, the towels could be bleached, but clean. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was decent and presented well. We would definitely stay here again.

Flew in from Florida for a Chiefs game. All other hotels close to the Stadium were outrageously priced as they double their prices for Chiefs weekends. This place is only about 15 minutes away if you have a car, which we did. It's also convenient to all downtown attractions. I would stay here again. The staff was great!

This hotel has never given me a bad experience. The owners are wonderful, they hire great people and the room pricing is fantastic. The location is great for downtown KC, the airport and even the Kansas Speedway and the ballpark and football stadium. Not fancy, but a great throwback hotel!!!

We stay here once or twice a year on our drive across country and always enjoy our stay. It's exactly what you'd expect for the price point- thin walls, okay breakfast, and not in the ritziest neighborhood. But the staff is always extremely friendly, there's enough pre-packaged/decent breakfast options to fill you up, and we've never had a safety issue. Overall, it's a good overnight stop.

Clean, friendly, and good breakfast!! The motel is an older motel but very clean and comfortable... Exterior is nice and clean... The desk help was very helpful and ready to make my stay memorable, I expect to visit again soon!

If you want luxurious hotel then this is not for you. If you like friendly staff,clean rooms, fast internet and close proximity to downtown then this may be for you as it was for me. The breakfast was full of choices which was surprising for this small property. Thanks again

I believe I was offered assistance by the manager with my luggage which I didn't expect and front office were courteous and helped me locate great KC BBQ. You can pay double the prices and receive sub par service.

This was our first time staying here and it was such a great experience. The staff went above and beyond for us. The Room was clean, smelled clean and just all around great. The breakfast was good, fresh and warm. The dining area was clean also. Location was good and near by places. Our room had a mini fridge and good tv channels. It was advertised as is online, clean and great overall! Ve happy with our stay and the best and cleanest hotel we have stayed at in KC.

This is not a luxury hotel by any means, exterior well kept small property. The details are paid attention to here and the service and smiles from the staff go a long way for me. This is my 3rd-4th stay here and will be back again soon. Breakfast attendant is very courteous and friendly, made it entertaining to a group of us that were there.

We've used the Best Western Country Inn - North twice in recent trips to Kansas City and both times the hotel met our expectations...and is maybe a little better the second than the first. We had a little trouble with the WiFi at first but the desk agent had us up and running quickly...and the download speed was terrific.

I happened to stay at this location by chance and was very pleased with our experience. Upon entering the rooms we were surprised by the cleanliness of every detail. Also all the staff we encountered were very helpful and felt like they didn't mind assisting us with any questions we had. Other hotels sometimes we feel reluctant to ask because we feel as if were bothering them. Thanks again and will return on next KC trip.

The room seemed to be clean but there was gnats and flies in the room. I killed them all at least i thought. The furnishings were out dated. You could hear people slamming doors and talking. The toilet and pipes made a lot of noises. I almost tripped on a tile that was loose and popped up. One of the workers screamed while I was getting breakfast and I looked to see what she was screaming about and it was a worm on the floor near the food.

This is very much a budget motel, but overall it fit the bill for me traveling solo. I probably wouldn't bring my family here, as the part of town seemed a little sketchy, but I never felt unsafe. Front desk and breakfast staff were all very friendly. Housekeeping was super. Room was very clean and straightened up everyday. The room itself was dated, but I expected that. Was definitely very large. Lots of space. Television was old and had a terrible remote. Didn't like that. The bathroom was small, but clean. Towels were just short of sandpaper, though. Ouch! Breakfast was pretty good. Several decent options including waffles and biscuits. Though the neighborhood wasn't super great, the hotel is very convenient. Easy on and off of the interstate. You can get anywhere in KC from here in 10 minutes I would think. I really liked that. I would probably rate this 3.5 if there was an option, but since overall the price point was better than anything else in town, I'll go with 4.

Reserved a non smoking and was placed into a room between two smoking rooms with no air flow. There was also evidence the room was really a smoking room. Hotel staff was not helpful or willing to move us even though another room was available with a King sized bed (2 Adult 2 Children). We were there for a charity walk and this whole experience was horrid. The pool wasn't available, the breakfast was poor and the room was crazy expensive compared to other hotels in the area that were much nicer.

Excellent value. Attention to detail. Courteous attentive staff. Great experience for us. We arrived at two in the morning to a warm welcome help with our luggage, and clear directions. Breakfast was nicely displayed, hot and tasty.

We have stayed at this location several times in the last couple of years. Twice we have arrived prior to check-in and each time they were able to get us into our room with very little wait. Everyone there is friendly and very accommodating. Will be planning to stay there again in the future.

Good people and clean rooms. Maids are attentive and staff are all smiles and pleasant. Internet is google fiber and fast. Breakfast good for standard BW. They make it work here and that's why I return.

When you just want it the way you like it this is the place to be. I felt that it was a comfortable environment friendly service breakfast was great with a variety of selections healthy and tasteful what more could you ask for

This was an acceptable hotel on the north side of Kansas City. It is in a somewhat residential area but there are restaurants nearby. The hotel has outside doors and corridors. The check in was okay. Upon entering the room it was hot and smelled stale but the air conditioner cooled it down while we went to dinner. There are plug on the lamps but my adapter plug wouldn't fit. I had to find the wall plugs. The towels were thin. There was a person in the parking lot asking for money. I reported him to the desk clerk and he finally left.

Stayed here for 3 nights on a recommendation & after checking online reviews & was not disappointed. Staff are very friendly & super helpful. Rooms are spotless & housekeeping go the extra mile & keep up with cleanliness of car park etc. Although I didn't experience breakfast ( not a breakfast person) a friend staying at the same hotel said it was wonderful with plenty of hot & cold breakfast choices along with coffee, juices, milk etc. Would highly recommend & will stay here again when next in the area!

Stayed here based off reviews for an overnight trip with a friend and it definitely met our needs. Clean, friendly staff, quiet, budget friendly, and right off of interstate. Would definitely stay here again.

The hubs smokes and wanted a smoking room. Room was clean and didn't stink like I had expected from a smoking room. Room was close to everything we needed. Just a short drive to Worlds of Fun, Power & Light District, and any other downtown spots.

We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting friends. It was very pleasant. It was not super fancy but had everything you would need. The staff made the stay perfect! They were so nice and helpful with everything. Breakfast was amazing, so many choices!

Can't wait to stay here again. Room looked just like the pictures. Staff (including the breakfast lady) friendly and very helpful. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. Breakfast was wonderful also.

Staff was very friendly; quick and easy check-in Comfortable beds, clean rooms, great breakfast, fast internet. Mini refrigerator and microwave in each room. Showers had fantastic water pressure. Air conditioning was very efficient in the 90+ degree weather in KC during the time we were there. Would definitely stay here again!

This Best Western has a lovely appearance as you drive in. The bed was comfortable and there was a good breakfast provided. This location was convenient to the Ameristar Casino which was our destination for a concert.

Stayed here due to proximity to the interstate. Amazingly easy off and back on in the morning. Quiet clean rooms. Delicious breakfast in the morning. Good variety of food. Rooms well maintained. Good water pressure. Staff very pleasant!

Good location for our visit, but the area looked a little unsafe. There was an abandoned hotel across the street. Don't bring your small pet, the pet fee is high with no extras (dog treat, food or etc) offered. The breakfast was decent and the hotel was clean except for the odor in our room.

If I ever go back to Kansas City Missouri I will stay at this hotel again. The stay was very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. We got back to the room around midnight and wanted to order some pizzas so I went to the office and the lady working was very nice and gave us the number to the closet place

I would never stay at this hotel again. I travel with two small female Cairn Terriers so a well groomed pet relief area is essential. There really wasn't any pet relief area at this hotel. When I inquired about this at check in, the clerk told me to use the grassy areas around the motel. The grass was at least 6 inches long, making this impossible. So I had to walk them across the street on the weeds in front of what appeared to be a run down abandoned Extended Stay Motel. I was extremely uncomfortable doing this, especially after dark.

We went to KC for the weekend. This trip was to explore and get to know the area better. The landscaping and surrounding area is somewhat intimidating as there is a vacant hotel across the street. Otherwise, Best Western is nice and clean. The staff is nice. I really liked the person in the breakfast area. She was a ray of sunshine! She was very helpful and attended to our needs promptly.

Whenever I travel, I try to stay at a Best Western because they never fail me. This Best Western didn't fail me either. Nice big room, comfortable bed. Front desk personnel are super. I enjoyed my stay and will stay again. This hotel is close to a major highway. Shopping in just a few miles down the road. Close to downtown Kansas City. I do recommend this hotel to travelers.

I had a dentist appointment in Independence. I live in Rolla, Mo. Needed a place to stay for the night. Chose this hotel because it was closer and better priced. Have stayed here before as well. It is a nice hotel. Does need some touch up work with the lighting in the vanity area, and the beds need to be either replaced or flipped. But other than that, it's a nice hotel. Would stay again.

I checked in on the 12th of April because they advertised a deal of stay 2 nights free get the 3rd free. The girl that checked me in was brand new. She told me I qualified for the promotion. She said to just go online and register to receive the free night. Well, she was wrong. Not only did I have to book online to receive the deal, but you apparently can't stay consecutive nights to qualify. Also, customer service agreed to give me the free night, in 5-8 days lol. My house is being worked on. I won't need it then. Even better, if I would have booked thru Hotels.com like I usually do, I would have received my free night. I called customer service again and of course I had to ask for a supervisor, because the first guy couldn't help me. Supposedly they are emailing my free night sometime today. We will see. I feel like at this point I've probably earned more than the free night i was promised upon check in. Maybe I'm just being greedy though? I know that account number 6006637606541746 probably won't book here ever again. To top it off I paid more staying here than I wanted to because of the so called promotion so now I've lost at every turn. Oh well I guess. Lesson learned.

Front desk young man was helpful. The room was ok. The shower was great and hot. I would suggest the cleaning staff clean around the edge of the floorboards. Lots of dirt and stuff all around the edges of there. room.

Bed was comfortable. Front desk staff was friendly & helpful. The best part of the entire stay, the shower worked & the water was hot. The breakfast was normal of what you would find at other hotels. Would stay here again.

Very convenient location to I35-W north entrance. Excellent staff. Everyone was great. Check in and check out was quick and easy. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast we just had coffee and muffins, very good.

We had a good stay here during a conference being held at a more expensive hotel down the street. The front desk was helpful, switching rooms for us when the first choice did not appeal, and then successfully quieting a next door neighbor at 11:30pm so we could sleep. They also printed copies of our conference papers for us. The room was comfortable (pillows had more loft than necessary). Parking was tight in the front, but plentiful around back. We didn't use the breakfast bar.

Stayed three nights and snow arrived after we got there. By morning the parking lot was cleared but more snow dropped. We asked if it would be cleared again and when we got home from church it was! So appreciated by those of us who are elderly. Very quiet area and rooms were clean and well maintained.

We stayed 2 nights with a group of friends to go to the KC Chiefs game. Our room was nice looking non smoking, but you had to know to request that because they do have smoking rooms. They provided Wi-Fi that was fast and free. They had a free breakfast that was less to be desired. We ended up at the Waffle House up the street. Our door would not lock from the outside so we ended up keeping a lot of our stuff in our car when we were gone so it would not be stolen. Staff was not willing to help with problem. Bed was very hard and uncomfortable. However the rest of the room was nice the mini fridge, microwave worked. Nice shower pressure. Overall we We're okay with our stay based on the good price we got for our room.

This was my first stay at this property. From outside appearances, it can look somewhat suspect, but the inside decor is great. Comfortable King Sized bed and pillows with warm blankets. Breakfast was great also with different options to choose from. Overall, a very pleasant and great stay.

hotel staff was beyond nice and helpful. We were happy with our room, except for the fact that the walls seem a bit thin. We could hear all the other guests and were thankful that everyone quieted down before 10pm. Other than that, our stay was great and would probably stay here again if visiting Kansas City

Great value and convenient to getting where I needed to be since it was right off the freeway. Breakfast was great and had lots of options. Staff was always helpful. Neighborhood at first seemed a little uncertain but turned out to be a quiet comfortable stay with no problems. Beautiful landscaping at this hotel.

If you think you get what you paid for you would be wrong. Way over priced for this budget motel room. Breakfast was a joke. Had to go eat out do to the over crowded room with very little selection. Must say first night we were not impressed. On the second night we started to find the cockroaches. This has won the reward as the worst motel I've ever stayed in. We really thought hard about leaving at midnight and driving 5 hours home but did not. There is no reason this place got a 4 star rating

I stayed here a few years ago and it was okay, this time it was excellent. Great location right off the Interstate, great customer service, clean, very comfy beds, totally worth what you pay. Will go back a 3rd time.

Stay here on way to Branson. He staff were very courteous and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Bed is soft enough that I was able to sleep good. They have a pretty good breakfast. I alwAys go for a waffle. But a lot of choices.

Clean room, comfortable bed, exceptional customer service (friendly staff!!!). Very good continental breakfast (tea, coffee, cereals, fruits, breads/muffins, eggs, sausages, oatmeal, make your own waffles). Room had fridge and microwave. Super fast wifi. I chose Best Western over a hotel at the Crown Center which cost triple! 15 minutes by Uber average $13 each way to Crown Center/Union Station. A great stay for a great price.

We stayed here on a Saturday evening, and the front desk staff commented that they were sold out. Our room was on the 2nd floor which required us to carry our luggage up a flight of stairs. This hotel is located near the highway which made it convenient to drive to other nearby attractions. Our king size bed was fairly creaky and not the most comfortable. There were plenty of pillows but they were smallish. The breakfast was typical for Best Western with cereal, juice, coffee & tea. They also had egg and sausage patties, biscuits & gravy, waffle station, boiled eggs, yogurt and fruit. There was seating for 16 in the dining room and at one point during breakfast there were some guests waiting for a table to open up. Both of the hotel workers in the breakfast area did an admirable job keeping the food items refreshed and the tables clean.

Stopped here because the price was pretty darn good! Definitely worth it, clean, comfortable bed! You can't really ask for anymore with the price we paid! Good breakfast, starting at 06:30am. WiFi was also good!

Although the area is not the greatest the hotel is awesome!! The staff is very friendly and every single person greeted you when you encounter them. They were very helpful even for mundane requests! The breakfast has alot of choices & they are constantly refilling it. The pool was VERY cold the 1st time we used it but it was much better the next time! The rooms were very clean & they spiffed it up every day! I highly recommend this hotel & will definitely stay here on my next trip!

Nice alternative to the downtown Best Western, which is much more expensive and not near as nice. Decent driving distance to everything you want in KC. Access to the airport and North KC amenities, including Zona Rosa shopping district.

The hotel was really nice. The hotel staff was nice and helpful. The hotel room was really clean, but it was a little small. Therefore, if you intend on having a lot of people staying in your room, you might want to make sure your room is bigger. However, overall, I liked my hotel stay.

This is a fabulous property. I had a smoking room and it did not smell like smoke very neat and clean. Water pressure in the shower is out of this world and the beds are very comfy!!! Kris The manager is very much hands on and is absolutely fabulous As I travel a lot for work anytime I need to be in that area that will be the only place that I stay. I am a single female and was very comfortable and felt very secure even with the exterior doors was disappointed when my trip was cut short both times in 2 weeks however will be returning next week for a week stay and very much looking forward to my room

This is a 3 or 3 1/2 star hotel. It is clean, beds are comfortable, seems to be in a good area, close to the highway. Don't expect a mint in your pillow. You can expect a quiet room with a good bed, TV, mini fridge and microwave. The free breakfast was decent with scrambled eggs, sausage and sausage gravy as well as the waffle machine. My only problem was that the ice machine was inoperative. Still got ice from the front desk.

Clean hotel and had what you needed. Nothing over the top but good for the price. All amenities were just average but that was okay for the purpose of our trip. Everything was well taken care of. Breakfast was a little lacking but overall it was good.

Was a little apprehensive to stay here with the reputation of the neighborhood, but read trip advisor reviews and decided to give it a shot. Happy that I did because, although an older property, the ownership has done an excellent job of keeping the place up. Used the pool after work one day and it was very clean and safe. There seemed to be staff whenever you needed them and the campus was well lit. They clearly do a great job keeping their customers safe. Will stay again.

I was on the ground floor, quiet even with parking right outside which was very convenient. Very friendly and helpful staff and breakfast was kept stocked so all the choices were readily available. We were visiting relatives in area and found easy access to the roads helped us as we went out to various venues from sporting to museums. I would stay here again the next time I am in the area.

This little place is a lot nicer than I was expecting. The outside is well kept, the inside lobby and breakfast area is newly designed and quite clean and modern. The room was a nice size, and the staff was very friendly. Towels: Not huge, not fluffy. Only two in the room had to ask for more. Amenities: The coffee maker worked and the shampoo and soap was decent. Shower: Ah. Maz. Ing. The water pressure was out of this world. In my top-two hotel showers ever. Outlets: they had installed extra devices for plugging in phones and other electronics, which was nice. WiFi: worked. we brought our fire stick and was able to stream while we were there with no issues. Overall for the price I would stay here again for the shower. Breakfast being included is always a nice feature too.

We have a king room with mini fridge, microwave & mini coffee pot. Nice bathroom with plenty of hot water. Good accommodations. Comfy king bed. And close to where we needed to be. They have a pool & laundry available also. Parking & WiFi are free. Good place to stay. Would not hesitate to refer to others or come back ourselves.

Location is great: right off the Interstate and easy to find. There was no highway noise. Room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. The building is an older style with outside access to your car.

Do not stay here. Rooms are dirty, area in town is very questionable. Yet they charge more than a Holiday Inn in the nice part of town! No actual security. Beds are rock hard and sheets may have been washed, but doubtful. Sticky goo on the remote.

Stayed here after a concert @ Sprint Center, rather than driving home. Place is neat, clean & quiet. Staff is friendly and accomadating. Breakfast was OK. Just an average motel breakfast. Sausage, eggs, waffles, cereal, including a gluten free offering. Some fruit and pastries. OK, but not exceptional. Would certainly stay here again. BTW, The coffee was very good.

Traveling to have fun, I stayed for a night and had a great stay! Hotel is really nice inside with friendly staff. Room was large with nice comfortable beds, very clean, bathroom clean with everything I needed. Would recommend for a great night's stay!

We were right off the highway close to downtown but didnt have to fight the morning traffic. Rooms were fresh and clean. Staff was very friendly, I've read some other reviews that criticized the front desk but they were great, I'm sure treating them like human beings instead of servants makes the experience better.

Booked the hotel with intention of using our points. Booked 2 hotel rooms we had $100 gift card to use. We told the hotel clerk when we check in, he said that would be to e and would just give us 1 night stay. Upon checking out we were charged for both rooms. The staff especially Jenel was horrible. The hotel itswlf is fine, but there are 2 abandoned hotels accross the street, that look down right dangerous. Do not go out after dark.

We visit KC three times a year to spend with family. A very nice, and very clean hotel. Easy check in / out. The room cleaning staff is outstanding. Quality of on site breakfast needs to be improved. Weekend rates are very reasonable. Easy access from highway. Located in a quiet area.

It's a former motor hotel with outside entrances that's been totally remodeled. Rooms are very well maintained, bed was comfortable, shower had great pressure, breakfast consisted of waffles, sausage, egg and cheese biscuits and all types of cereal. Locations is very quiet and convenient to I-35. Only reason the hotel didn't rate a 5 is the rooms empty to the outside where the smokers conveniently set up shop.

I had a great check-in with CJ. Got a great room, wasn't worried about my safety whatsoever, despite reviews I had read. Would stay there again. It was close to Sprint Center and not too far from the airport.

We spent 4 nights at this hotel. Every night is was laughing and banging noises, stomping noises. It would last until like 7 in the morning. We made a complaint the second day and front desk staff told us not to worry. The people above us has Left. 3rd night was the same thing. I was told just to dial 0 from the phone room if I had issues. I dialed twice and no answer. The last night AGAIN! The same people making the same noise! I called the front desk around midnight and no answer. It just rang and rang. This morning during check out. They didn't offer a discount or anything. The front desk said she would forward my complain to the manager and he will probably offer me points for best western! How is that going to make me happy???

We were looking for a reasonably priced place to stay for one night. The room was clean adequate. We would stay there again. The desk staff were very helpful when I called with questions. The floor lamp switch did not work so it had to be unplugged, but that was a minor inconvenience. The bathrooms are very small.

This hotel is not in a good area. The rooms are so dark, one window and if you happened to get a room off the path, then you probably will get no natural light. heard every noise in the room above and next to us. TV's loud and toilets flushing. I would not choose to go back to this hotel.

Hotel was very nice. Gentleman that checked us in was very friendly and quickly and easily answered all of my tourist questions. What really impressed me was that I made a recommendation (not a complaint, mind you -- the stay was great) in the comments that they followed up on very quickly. To me, that is the sign of great customer service -- when a place takes the time to follow up on problems (once again, we didn't have any of those) or suggestions.

Easy to find, clean, modern features, quiet, friendly staff. This was our second stay and we chose to stay at this motel because of a previous good experience. I would say as good as the last stay was, this one was even better! Will definitely stay here again with any trips to Kansas City!

This Best Western looks outdated and in a strange area, check in was easy and very friendly. We were able to back right up to our room which we do like, some dont like the outside entrance but we do like the ease of loading and unloading the car. Only pizza across the street and a 7 eleven but it was an easy mile drive up the road to various restaurants. Room was very nice and comfortable. The only complaint was the bathroom door was hard to get to shut and the bathroom was very tiny but it served its purpose none the less, could use more lightening in the sink area, very dark for someone doing make up. Upstairs room came in late at night and could easily hear them walking around, ceiling seemed thin but not really a big issue for us, we sleep well. Appreciate the pet friendly accomadation without a pet gouging price. Husband said the breakfast was okay, it was cold out and I didnt want to venture outside, I guess that was the down side of an outside room entrance on this occasion. Seemed pricey but not compared to others we had looked at on this route.

First, I thought this was rather expensive for a non “Plus” class best western. Second, there were some odd, rather scary characters walking about in the evening. I had to walk my dog, so it made me rather nervous. It is very poorly lit, which adds to the uncomfortable feeling. Third, my next door neighbors came in at 3AM and continued the party they probably just left. Fourth, the carpeting right next to the bed was wet. This was next to the bathroom wall, so I suspect something is leaking. Finally, the sheets were threadbare and the towels were much smaller than bath size. I cannot complain about the staff, the breakfast was minimal, and it was much less scary in the daytime. I did find a nice place to eat at a mall a mile or so to the north. I would have to recommend going elsewhere, though, for safety.

I always stay here!!! The staff is great, they always have a smile and willing to suggest fun things to do. The rooms are very nice and upated. Its located right off the higway easy to get to also and there is a Starbucks just 5 minutes away!!!!

I stay here often and every stay is great! Jodie makes a really good breakfast. Cj knows all the good places in town to eat and Jenel always ask how I have been since my last visit. The rooms are updated and the beds are very comfortable.

In town for a convention and he location of this particular BW served our purpose well. Quick and easy drive to downtown KC and the convention center. Comfy and clean with basics. One thing to note was the incredibly friendly staff. Jennelle was at the front desk and was very thorough and genuinely friendly. Appreciated that after a long flight. Didn't catch names of other staff but to a person they were all awesome.

We are Best Western rewards members and stay often when traveling. Usually, I book directly, but this time I booked through Trip Advisor, which apparently negated any discount from AAA or AARP. (Or at least that's what the desk clerk said). I agree with another reviewer, who said the building was not well-constructed. I'm guessing that it was a cheaper chain that BW bought and renovated. The renovations are up to BW standards, but the building is not so much...thin walls, doors that do not close easily, and dated furniture. The bed and linens were very comfortable and we did sleep well. The breakfast was adequate and the breakfast room was attractive. We probably would stay here again, but not unless the price was lower than what we had to pay this time. A budget hotel should have a budget price.

Not a luxury hotel, but clean, safe, quiet, and affordable. Decent in room amenities, pleasant staff. Room decor is not the most modern and could use some updating, but was adequate. Breakfast was basic, coffee not so good, but the beds were comfortable.

The BW hotel in north Kansas City is easy to get to from I-35 and a convenient stop over on our trip to the SW. The building looks pretty good and the staff is friendly. The building was not well made...sounds come through the walls from neighboring rooms. The breakfast is okay...much better than a wrapped honey bun and coffee, but the eggs and sausage appear to be microwave prepared. Internet connection requires a little extra work but once connected, it's fine.

I really dislike having too rate a Best Western as "Poor". In fact, I never have. But, this location gave me several reasons for doing so. When I look for a hotel to book, I try to locate one in a safe area. I don't know the crime statistics for this area, but we heard sirens at least 4 times for every three nights we stayed. The noise level was high. This may be because each room has its own door leading outside to parking lot. We could also hear traffic from highway at night. My biggest concern was this - we were out late and returned to hotel at 1230am. When we arrived there was a male drinking a beer and smoking a cigarette standing in front of our door, There were also three individuals on second level balcony that were standing outside drinking and very loud. We had our 14 year old daughter with us. They were discussing (very loudly) there latest sexual encounters using EXTREMELY LOUD voices. I DID NOT complain to the office because all of the above mentioned subjects observed us parking our vehicle. I'm sure if I had complained and IF anyone had followed up on complaint, there probably would have been a very good chance that our vehicle would have been vandalized. I would recommend that BW have parking lot security. At least at night or when big events are in area.

The only problems I had was with the cleanliness of the bathroom and sink area. Hair was coming out of the drains and from around the sink/counter area. The toilet seat was not clean. That was gross!!!

This is the best hotel in this part of town. It is very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good with many choices. The staff always strive to give me the best rates possible. This is the best place to stay in North Kansas City.

After searching for a hotel to stay over night for the Kansas City vs Raiders game, we found most hotels were full and overpriced. This hotel came up with a reasonable price but like they say you get what you pay for. It was obvious after seeing our room the only thing thats been updated in the last 10 years is the lobby of this hotel. Our sheets had worn spots from years of use and the floor near the sink was squeaking and sinking in like rotted floorboards. At night it got even more eventful with our neighbors on both sides of us partying and screaming walking back in forth up untill 3am when I called the front lobby and asked them kindly to check it out. They did fix the problem until they started up again at 6 am. Needless to say lacking sleep and hungry there was at least breakfast, not anything fancy but it was food, we will book our Kansas City hotel earlier and elsewhere.

This was a motel without outside access rather than inside. It looked to have been updated and was in good condition. The lobby and breakfast room had an odd configuration, but easily accessible. Not a great choice of restaurants near by, but happened upon Stroud's off the beaten path, which was excellent and worth the search.

Truthfully I was a little skeptical when we drove up because it was a motel rather than a hotel, but the owners have done a great job with it. It was clean, the staff were very helpful, and it had everything we needed. The internet was really good, which is a big priority for our family. Also a bonus for our family was that the sink was outside the bathroom so multiple people could get ready at the same time. This property was about 10 minutes from the Convention Center which was where we were heading. By being a few minutes out rather than downtown we saved over $100 for our 2-night stay (had we booked earlier rather than last minute we could have saved more). It is about a minute off the interstate at the edge of a subdivision so no highway noise. In fact it was quieter than the last hotel we stayed in. There was also a microwave and fridge in the room which was helpful. If you are traveling with a family I would recommend this. The breakfast was fairly modest but had a variety of choices and some healthy choices so we both found something we were happy with.

Loved everything, just wished shampoo and body wash in bathroom where of better quality, but breakfast was great! Bed was extremely comfortable, staff in front we're extremely friendly! Nothing else to say!

Picked this motel as it was in a convenient location to the place we would be visiting. Closest of the 2 Best Western Motels in that area. Nice clean room, everything worked well, comfortable bed. Considering how close we were to the interstate, very quiet facility.

Room is comfortable and clean. Internet has good speed and easy acccess. Large trash receptacles next to tiny front door with broken front door. Eating space is big enough for 15 people at a given time with low quality stale food.

Easy to find (it was at night for us). The gentleman that checked us in was one of most friendly, professional and efficient hotel staff I've ever seen (including overseas hotels). The room was clean, well stocked, quiet. Breakfast was typical midpriced hotel breakfast but it was presented well, clean and well supplied. Checkout was fast, the woman that staffed the am shift was as friendly, professional and efficient as the evening shift. I plan staying here again.

Separate table for laptop. Very nice ergonomic desk chair. Full and varied breakfast. Two plumbing problems: very slow draining sink, water level too high in the toilet. We feared overflow when flushing. We reported this when checking out, and were shocked when the desk clerk said casually, “Oh, yes, that one's always a problem.” Well, if you reach back with toilet paper in your hand and your hand touches the water, it's gross and unsanitary. If you're a guy and your privates touch the water when sitting, that's REALLY gross and unsanitary. The only way to use the toilet is by squatting high over it. Very uncomfortable. This known problem should be fixed permanently. We arrived late and tired, and couldn't be bothered to ask for another room. We would certainly demand a change if we were here more than one night.

The hotel desk staff, breakfast area staff, and housekeeping staff all provided the best possible service to ensure that we had a very enjoyable stay. We look forward to staying at this Best Western again.

Great hotel, close to highway, helpful and friendly staff, enjoyed my stay, room was clean. Loved the morning breakfast with quick, simple foods, enough variety to get me started on my day. Will definitely stay again.

The Hotel was fantastic, great price, great service, quiet neighborhood. I really enjoyed my stay and will stay again!! It was a high quality at a very reasonable price. I travel to Kansas City two to three times a year for sports events and this is the best value price I have found.

We liked everything about this hotel except for the beds. We had 2 beds and neither one was comfortable. One was very squeaky. Every time the person moved, it would make noise. But the room was clean. The breakfast was slightly better than the standard fare with sausage and eggs. The location was perfect for us too.

We recently stayed at the Best Western Country Inn-North in Kansas City, Missouri. Our visit was quite pleasant. The staff was very helpful & friendly. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choices. Our room was spacious & clean. We will definitely stay there again.

This best western was comfortable just like most but the shower was amazing. It was also close to the city and conveniently located right off the highway. Breakfast was your average that you would expect.

One of the best nights sleep we had, The bed was made to order, the hotel was immaculately clean, breakfast buffet that had eggs that looked like eggs, cooked perfectly, crispy bacon and fresh and perfectly ripe fruit.

The hotel was very nice over all. I didn't know what to expect as my wife booked it for me. Having an outside entrance into my room is not something I would normally agree to but the weather was very nice.

We were very happy wit hour stay here. Clean property and a comfortable room. Close to lots of places to eat and in a quiet neighborhood. Easy access to major highways and local streets to get downtown of the interstate.

We received great value at this hotel. Nice quiet neighborhood with a good selection of places to eat. One night of our stay the upstairs guest was a little heavy footed past our bedtime,but that's the nature of the beast. Staff was professional and friendly and the place was clean.

We where in Kansas City Missouri and stayed at this Best Western I was so very happy the outside looked like it wasn't open. But I saw someone in the pool. We had friends we where visiting who lived in Kansas City years ago and they where visiting from Arizona. They met us in the parking lot, so I went into the office and met the man on duty CJ what a nice young man. I said can I see a room, and it was lovely I am thinking just having a make over, It was beautiful CLEAN, BREAKFAST Was great. And the other young lady on duty was Jenel and I can't say enough nice things about the Country Inn North. From the time we arrived we felt welcome and cared about by the staff. Check in was smooth as was most every request we made to the front desk. The only problem we encountered was one night when we came back to the room to find the only light in the restroom burned out. The front desk clerk couldn't find one so we replaced it with one from the lamp. This crew is tops in our books. Very helpful.

Wife and I celebrating anniversary and decided to spend the night on our way home. Couldn't have chosen a better hotel. Service, amenities and cost great. Will recommend hotel to family and friends. Thank you!!

This hotel is in close proximity to downtown KC which is very convenient. Easy access to highway. Staff is very friendly and caring. Property is clean and accommodating. The overall hotel seems to be updated very nicely and breakfast was great!

I stayed at this hotel for three weeks and every single day was great. Yes we had a power outage but my room stayed pleasantly cool and I slept great. My room was clean and modern. The staff and owners were wonderful and made my stay very pleasant. The motel was close to Kansas City museums and sights but the price was very reasonable. I loved it and would will be staying with them again.

Outstatnding staff with friendly, helpful caring attitudes make up for the average location of this hotel. Exterior appearance is dated but the rooms are comfortable and all the amenities were in working order. The positive helpful can do attitude of all staff members that I met will start you on the right track to have a great day and end your day on a positive note.

I have stayed two times when traveling to and from MCI. Not at the airport, but a very good choice if you need to be between downtown and MCI. Both times I have stayed they have accommodated a late check in and late check out.

This hotel had a trans former go out last night before we arrived I had pre paid for 2 rooms for 2nights and was told it would be fix in 45 minutes and that the key processer was not working and that they could let us into our second room with master key and we could get our key as soon as the processer is working. went to front desk this morning to get key and let them know our air and phone are still out the lady at desk said they should be fixed today and that some rooms have air and some Don't .we are traveling. With children whom where very hot and had a hard time sleeping last night without any air it had too be in the 80s in the rooms we where moved that morning to rooms with working air thank goodness but still no keys didn't receive keys until that evening so when I checked out that next morning I asked if the hotel was going to do anything to comp the guest for all the inconveniences she said she didn't know and would talk to the general manager left my email address so far I have heard nothing back on the whole ordeal that just about ruined my grandkids vacation have to say that the staff was very nice.Not their fault or ours but. you should get what you pay for or compensation for the lake of air phone and partial breakfast accommodation no coffee and less items offered due to power shortage

Electricity went out...no a/c - internet or hot breakfast. Unwilling to accommodate. Rooms are small, hair in the bed! If you have a chance I would definitely stay somewhere else. Owner did move us to another room since AC didn't work after several hours blaming it on the power outage. power came back on still no ac. Not a good trip!!!

Kudos to Best Western for upgrading its properties. This one is modern, clean, quiet, near the I-35 interstate and fairly close to restaurants. Friendly staff. Departed early so we did not try the breakfast. Overall, excellent stay for a bit more money than the budget brands.

At almost $200 a night, it's clearly way over priced!! Pool is small, no hot tub. Room was adequate, but definitely nothing to write home about. Lobby had several dead bugs around the windows, like maybe they don't clean as well as they should. Computer on a desk next to the front door is considered a business center. A level of deception is apparent to make this property seem like it's something that it really isn't!! I wouldn't stay here again unless a ton of upgrades are made or it becomes priced more appropriately like $95-$115 a night.

Although the hotel staff was very accommodating, we experienced an odor in the room (from a prior smoking room), as well as not enough towels. The breakfast was typical fare, but the room was far too small to accommodate the guests. Parking was also not sufficient to handle the number of guests.

Ana at the front desk was especially helpful. Everyone was nice. The room is a basic room & suited our needs. The location is convenient for a lot of things. We went to Worlds & Oceans of Fun as well as downtown then onto Overland Park.

We picked this hotel out of many other choices, because we didn't want to stay in downtown. We loved it here. The front desk staff was amazing, as well as all other employees we encountered. The room was quiet and the A/C worked wonderfully! Breakfast was included, and we enjoyed it very much. The property was clean and the flowers outside were beautiful. I would stay here again, no question.

I'm so glad we chose this hotel. I was worried that it was going to be a slow drive to the convention center, but it only took about 10 minutes...during rush hour! The front desk clerks were amazing. There was always someone attending to the breakfast area in the morning so nothing ever ran out. The neighborhood is older, but I never felt unsafe on this property.

We arrived at 9 pm and checked in. The front desk guy was helpful. The rooms were nice, adequate pillows, only shampoo and soap in the bathroom. There was a fridge and microwave. The ac worked great. We we t to the pool. It was cool and not lit but refreshing. The gate is strangely through another door (to control non guest access). Breakfast was basic- biscuits and gravy (had actual sausage), waffles, sausage, egg medallions, bread products, coffee and juice, HB eggs and yogurt. Coffee was just OK. We would return and reccommend.

This is a basic hotel North Kansas City and was appropriate for the price. Very convenient location off the highway. We had a clean room with a fridge and microwave. Outdoor pool was clean. Our two small dogs came with us. Staff professional.

We would definitely stay here again! It has been newly remodeled, friendly staff, great landscaping, pool, complementary breakfast, and reasonably priced! A benefit to us was that we were able to park in front of our door as it had an outside entrance.

Desk people were Very friendly people. Hotel only has double beds, not queen, so they seemed a bit small. Bed seemed a little hard. Did have a fridge and microwave, which was very nice to have. For being an older motel, it has been kept up pretty well.

We only stayed one night, but would certainly go back. The staff was so helpful and friendly. We had trouble figuring out the internet connection and the young man at the front desk was so patient and helped us figure it out. When we checked out the next morning, the young lady that checked us out, helped us figure out how to get back to the freeway and even wrote out instructions for us.

We have stayed at this hotel 3 times now and would do so again. Close to family, the highway, shopping, etc. Room was great, clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. Would recommend again and again.

We enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean and quiet with comfortable beds. There was a fridge and microwave in the room. The hotel is tucked in a neighborhood but was convenient for our stay, heading up to Liberty and down to Independence. The staff at the front dest were friendly as was the dining room attendant who kept things filled and clean. Breakfast was standard hotel fare, but was fine for our needs. We travel with a dog and there was a $15 pet fee.

Hotel was comfortable and check-in clerk was very nice. However, a clerk poured waffle mix and left it under the sprout. When I told her what I saw, she said it was there for anyone to use. Nasty!!!!!!! If she did that its no telling what else she did with the food!! No thank you!!!

Very quiet and cozy, a nice place to recuperate after doing a bunch of activities all day. Had a professional setting with a friendly face. Already thinking about planning another trip and staying here! It was very convenient being right off of I-35 so we didn't have to stray too far from the main road.

I was coming to Kansas City just to visit my kids and needed to use some of my 10.00 off rewards before they expired. So I decided to stay at the BW Country Inn. I've stayed here before and have enjoyed my stay. Nice big, clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Always have the ground floor rooms. I will return again.

We enjoyed a couple of nights here the first part of May. Found the staff to be friendly. Always a 'good morning' or just a 'hello'. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The price was good as well,. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a very good experience during our stay. We were looking for a reasonable place to stay with good reviews. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, the staff were all friendly and helpful.The best part was that the continental breakfast was better than some hotels we've stayed at with higher prices. The person in charge of it was helping some of patrons with the waffle maker and made sure everyone was able to find what they needed on the breakfast bar.

We had 3 rooms on Saturday night May 6, 2017. Jenel was at the Front Office, she was Very friendly and polite. All 3 rooms were clean and slept well. The parking lot was safe and well lit.The breakfast had enough variety to get you on your way.

This isn't a bad place if you are looking to stay for a night. Our room smelled funky and the main picture on the website didn't look like the lobby. I will have to say the breakfast was very good and the server that took care of serving breakfast items was nice and friendly.

We enjoyed our stay. We wanted a reasonable price and towards the north end of Kansas City so we wouldn't have to deal with traffic as much the following day. The staff was very helpful, the bed was very comfortable, and the neighborhood was quiet. Really like free breakfast too!

The room and service at check in and out was vary good rooms were clean - the breakfest was good - but when i got a biscut and looked for the gravy there was none - if you putting out biscuts for breakfest there should be gravy - and allso some muffins for sausage egg n muffins would be excellent

I had a problem right at beginning of stay before I arrived, I called front desk, the associate fixed the issue right away and I never had another issue. They are great! Breakfast was great too, not just fruit and cereal!

The rooms were absolutely beautiful and clean! Staff was so great! Had an issue with the TV, but they came in and fixed it right away! I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Kansas City!!!

Location was good and WiFi good. Breakfast was not great everything tasted artificial. Carpet needs updated and bathtub had no caulking and starting to mold. Furniture is outdated. T.V. was good. Outside needs cleaned up.

The room was clean and very nice. Beds were very comfortable, however, our sleep quality was poor due to the noise level coming from the room above. There does not seem to be much insulation between floors so any walking, jumping, running above us was very loud. Recommend getting a room on upper level if you stay here.

We stayed here for two nights. The staff was very friendly and the location is decent if you want to stay out of the downtown area but still be nearby. However, the rooms felt a little outdated, two insects were inside when we arrived, we booked a non-smoking room that smelled like smoke (and had a cigarette burn in a chair) and we could hear the people above either walking on the catwalk or in their hotel room frequently. We also found a strong pornographic magazine in our side table, which wasn't a huge issue for two young adults (other than for a laugh), but I imagine a family with young kids wouldn't have been very pleased with that being accessible. This didn't quite hit the standards of other Best Westerns I've stayed at but, for the price we paid, we kind of had this expectation going in. Not sure I would stay here again.

We go to our daughter's house in Iowa several times a year. We always stay in Kansas City on the way to her house and this hotel has the best location for us and it is a really nice facility. Being only two blocks off I-35 makes it so easy for us to continue our travel without the hassle of intercity traffic. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice place to stay.

Excellent Staff From Top To Bottom. I was suffering from a bad back and two staff members (manager included) helped me bring my bags to and from my room. Great Service! I would definitely stay at this location anytime I'm traveling to Kansas City.

Front desk person very nice. Room clean,linens clean and no dirt noted on carpets or furniture. The breakfast was good. Coffee good and hot! Bed was comfortable. Free paper at desk. Pool looked clean and tidy.

We stayed at this cozy, out of the way Best Western for NASCAR weekend in October. The Country Inn is tucked away in a residential area off of I-29. There's a 7-11 in front of it, and a big liquor store nearby. May not be reassuring of safety for some, but we didn't feel unsafe walking to the convenience store. You can tell the hotel has undergone some extensive refurbishing by the fresh paint in the lobby and in our room. In fact the carpet was so new you could still smell the carpet glue in the room. While this may really bother some people who are sensitive to chemical smells, it didn't bother us. The room itself was a double, non-smoking room and was VERY clean. However there were some areas where you could tell the owners/managers were trying to cut costs at the expense of guest comfort/satisfaction. One was blankets. This is the midwest, and in mid to late October, it's going to get cold. However our beds were covered with a top sheet and another slightly heavier sheet. No comforter and no blanket. I like to sleep in a cooler room, but knew if I ran the A/C or even fan, I would get chilled. Asked for a blanket at the front desk and the clerk even stated that blankets should be in every room. The blanket they gave me wasn't even very heavy; more like a thick sheet and had a pink, crusty stain on it, like dried Pepto-Bismol, telling me it hadn't been laundered since it's last use. The hotel also offered a free continental breakfast, which was supposed to feature waffles. It did, but the dining area was very cramped and the "hot" offerings for breakfast (waffles, sausage and egg "tacos") were lukewarm and I'm not entirely sure the sausage was cooked all the way through. There were also 2 guests in wheelchairs who were trying to get their breakfasts but were having a very difficult time due to the crowded space in the room. Besides the waffles there was cereal, bagels and bread. About the typical fare. Our room was quiet and the shower was warm. We stayed 2 nights and the hotel provided soap and shampoo, but no hand lotion, face soap, etc. Just a little less amenities than I usually find at a Best Western. At the very least the owners need to invest in some inexpensive, but fluffy and WARM blankets at their local Wal-Mart if they want to keep all guests happy this winter.

We asked for a Non-Smoking room. But, as we found out in the morning, we got a room that had been a smoking room that had been 'refurbished'. We noticed a smell at first, but the wife urged me not to complain. But, as the night went on, the old smoke smell kept permeating our senses and became very annoying by morning. Even our clothes had the smell. This, plus the guests above us kept moving, walking, and generally making noise all hours of the night. Also noticed it appeared that only half of the motel was being used and all the guests were crowded to one end of the building. Not a pleasant night.

Nice clean rooms. Parking was limited due to truck w/ trailer and construction material in a couple of spaces. Plenty of options for breakfast. Would like more soundproofing in rooms but this is true everywhere

Stray 2 nites at this hotel while attending a Kansas City Chiefs FB game. We stayed in a pet friendly room, with out two small dogs. The room was nice an clean. Well maintained. No real problems, Other than the toilet would flush properly. Being retired maintenance supervisor for a public housing authority, I just took the lid off the tank and flushed it that way, showing my wife how as well. then upon leaving I forgot to advise the front desk about the problem. (sorry about that). Only problem we experienced

Horribly disorganized on reservations.. couldn't get their story straight. Manager hides behind employees rather than taking responsibility for errors. No apologies; just ended up being grossly overcharged. If you have any option,don't stay here. The smoke detector in our room was covered with plastic...dangerous ? Illegal ??

I was treated like a king and I will be back and allowed to check in early. The staff was top notch and the room clean and comfortable. I enjoyed this stay and the city of Kansas City. Overall, a great experience

This hotel is tucked away off these two interstates and is very very quiet. It is very clean, updated and pleasant. The hotel was safe ( well lit and nice parking lot ) , beautifully landscaped as well. The rooms are very bright and inviting . All the amenities worked well. The breakfast was outstanding with lots of fresh fruit and ENGLISH MUFFINS ....The staff was also friendly and heklpful.

Good location with easy access to downtown and rest of KC area.. Pleasant, attentive staff. Very nice room, comfortable, and clean. Breakfast above average. Adequate parking, well lit. Nothing unnecessary.

The hotel/motel was located right off of the interstate and was within short driving distance of gas, food, etc. I was traveling alone on a business trip and felt very safe,even though this is a motel with door access facing the street, not indoors. CJ at the desk was extremely polite, friendly, and helpful. My room was handicap accessible and was very clean and seemed updated and new. The lighting was not very bright in the room, but everything else was great! The food was standard hotel breakfast selections and the coffee was good. The grounds were well kept. I was satisified with this hotel and would stay here again if in the area.

Employees of a well known vinyl graphics company were doing work for a company located in the caves. The hotel was close to where they were working and the prices was reasonable. We were happy with the staff and the rooms for were nice. We have continued to stay there during the several weeks work we are doing. Thanks Best Western!

We stayed two nights at this property in mid-September. It was spotlessly clean, but had a number of drawbacks, in my opinion. All rooms open directly off of the parking lot or second floor balcony. Parking is very limited (the first night there we had to park along a curb behind other cars, rather than in a marked space). At evening time, some of the guests hung out drinking or smoking on the balcony or the edge of the parking lot. The rooms had limited space and electrical outlets. There was soap and shampoo, but no lotion or conditioner. It was sufficient for our needs, but I have definitely stayed in nicer properties.

Although the neighborhood leaves alot to be desired, our room was Great! It was clean, smelled fresh & it was quiet. Didn't get to try free breakfast or pool. Only thing I would say is that the towels were kind of old and scratchy.

They were very kind and helpful even in light that the frig and toilet did not work. They were booked solid so another room was not an option, so they gave a credit back for some of the room price. In light of all of this we would stay here again, the rooms were clean, staff very helpful and friendly.

This hotel location is an older version of Motel's. It was clean and maintained as well as it can be. The front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. We only needed a place to sleep during our three day driving to our destination. We left very early the next day, so we were not able to try their hot breakfast.

I work in hospitality so I am extremely picky, and not easy to impress when it comes to customer service. This motel is smaller than most I've stayed in, but the lobby was beautiful. Although we checked in very late, check in was fast and easy, and the front desk agent friendly and courteous. The room was spacious and clean. Well appointed, and felt secure. I love the granite counter tops in the vanity area, the shower head was very nice too. Only negative feedback I have is regarding the unsecured WiFi, and the lack of staircases to the upper level. I did not partake in breakfast, but my husband did. He said the coffee and waffles were great, but eggs were odd and unappetizing. We travel to Kansas City often to visit family, and definitely return to this motel. Great rates, and a very clean room has earned my business.

Conveniently located close to the freeway. Our room was comfortable and quiet. Staff was courteous, friendly and helpful. I've been to nicer bigger rooms at other Best Westerns, but for the price of this one I thought it was an excellent value.

Rooms were very clean. Breakfast was standard Best Western fare. Staff very friendly. The rooms have outside doors, but hotel is in nice area so I felt safe. I would stay there again. We were traveling with a pickup and trailer and had plenty of room for parking.

We stayed at this motel for 1 night on our way to a convention. I was pleased with the friendliness and courteous greeting of the young man at the front desk. Usually it's business like, without much care. But this young man was different. We had an issue with our TV not working properly, something with the reception. We called the front desk; I don't think it took him 5 min. before he was at our room and fixed the problem. Impressive. The bed was a little hard for our taste, but the room was clean, the breakfast sufficient. We were going to stay at this motel again on our way back, but they were all booked out. It is located fairly close to the Interstate, but in a very quiet location. And yes, I would stay here again.

Aside from having difficulty getting to the hotel, think it was my navi. system's fault, the hotel stay was very good. The breakfast was reasonable, with good choice of fruit. I will admit I was not impressed with the way eggs were fixed though and sausage patties did not look completely cooked.

THis was the only hotel in the BW chain with availability and I have never been disappointed with Best Western. The price was good (before the many taxes the city charges) but it was outdated. Noise of the window A?C circulating on & off every minute or so

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and neat. I didn't feel fearful and it was really close to the highway. It was one exit from the Mc Donalds and gas etc. Breakfast was very nice and had a nice lady to make waffles for us. BREAKFAST HAD A COUPLE LITTLE EXTRAS THAT MADE IT FEEL A LITTLE SPECIAL. VERY CLEAN.

My wife and I enjoyed the quietness of this Best Western. We had two good sized bags and there are no elevators so it gave me a short workout. Very friendly front desk staff. Breakfast area somewhat small but very neat and well kept. The staff in this area was also very friendly. We would stay here again when in the KC area.

Where do I begin...all cash for recent "upgrades" have gone to the office and the breakfast area. The doors DO HAVE modern electronic 'wave' locks for the card keys. The rooms themselves look like something from the 70's and I feel sure Motel 6 would be an UPGRADE from here. NOT worth $90+ night. Concerns: 1. Chain lock on door with multiple holes from replacement. 2. Metal wrap on doors is bent as if pried. 3. Sheets so worn there is no 'body' left in them. Also mismatched. 4. There are no plugs/outlets by either side of the bed. Nearest plug was desk & outlet on lamp base. Had to stretch CPAP machine cord from bed, across chair, to outlet. 5. Cobwebs on curtains. 6. Molding trim (why?) around ceiling pulling away. 7. Bed. Hard. Creaky. You can feel the springs on the side of the bed. 8. Towels: some had holes. Thin, SMALL. 9. Bathroom ceiling lowered. Ceiling tiles dirty. 10. Sink stopper didn't work and sink faucet leaked over the counter. Never seen a Best Western in this condition. But it is INDIVIDUALLY owned...not a corporate motel. We will not be stopping HERE again.

Stayed here for a single night and we loved it. The room was very nice and clean, the bed was very comfortable and the shower was the best we have ever experienced. The parking lot is a little tight with a large trailer, but it worked out fine.

For a very reasonable price in the Kansas City area, we got a clean and comfortable room. The staff was professional. They offer a nice variety of food for breakfast, but the room is too small for the amount of people trying to use it. Our non-smoking room smelled of cigarette smoke. Next time I would choose to stay on the second floor because the rooms open onto the sidewalk.

The room was nice but not enough light. The bathroom door was inconvenient. The breakfast was good and the employees were very kind and helpful. The hotel was close to Sprint Center so it's convenient for a concert.

The desk staff who checked us in (7-25-16, 8pm) was very helpful and courteous. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was great. They were preparing to resurface the parking lot the following day, and even though we left before it was to begin, they were very gracious about working through the difficulties that might be encountered.

This hotel is one of the few that is not way over-priced in the Kansas City area. It isn't fancy and is a little older, but the staff is very friendly and helpful and the rooms were good enough to serve our needs.

We stayed here father's day weekend and the staff went out of their way to help us with vacation questions and we're just great! They gave us suggestions on where we could go that night to have fun with our family and we're very helpful with giving us information on getting discounted tickets for a water park we were going to! Plus the room was very clean and comfortable!!!! Great place for families to stay!

Check in was at 12:30 pm. We asked for a non smoking room but the room we got smelled like smoke, but it was quite and calm at night. It's kind of on the outside of the city but it is close enough to get by. It took us 10 to 15 minutes to get downtown. Room was clean and there was no noise all night.

Nice hotel - guests were a little noisy arriving at 2:30 am - clean, small rooms and bathrooms but adequate. Would probably stay again but would check for other chains as well. Stayed because it offered pet friendly rooms.

We stayed at this hotel for a total of 4 hours! That is all we could stand to stay for our $130 room! We checked in at 11:30 at night after a local baseball game. There were people standing all around in the parking lot, smoking and drinking and it didn't feel safe. The liquor store 1 block away and barred up windows of the local gas station added to that unsafe feeling. Had I been traveling with my kids only I would have moved on even though we had a reservation. My husband went in, got the keys and we proceeded to take our 2 children, mother in law and luggage up the only staircase (no elevator) to our rooms. Immediately upon opening the door to our room the musty, smoky smell was overwhelming. We left the door open to clear it out, had to turn on the air conditioner (mind you it was over 100 degrees in KC that day) and tried to let it air out. We called down to the front and asked if it was a smoking room and were told yes,well wait maybe not.... I'm not sure. The staff wasn't even sure of the room type. We decided since both of our kids were now pretty much crashed on the beds we would just make it work. The beds were a joke! They were full sized and horrible. They squeaked every time you moved and no one got any rest. We were so uncomfortable between the beds being noisy and the AC was either freeze you out cold or miserable hot if you turned off the "jet engine" sound that we just couldn't stand it anymore and we packed our family up at 2:30 in the morning and drove on! My husband did go to the front desk prior to us leaving to talk to someone and they told us to call the manager the following day. We called the hotel the following day and explained the situation and asked for any compensation for our horrible stay. 20% was all they would do! And that was after the 4th phone call to try and get a hold of a manager of this hotel. It was a slap in our face for what we had paid for the room and for the ridiculousness of the stay. The hotel was fully aware while we there we were not happy with the situation and did nothing to improve it. We did call corporate too, to inform them that this hotel is not up to the brand standards and they should investigate as to not ruin the BW name with this one hotel! Do not waste your time, energy and expense at this hotel.

stink, stank, stunk. It had a musty, moist smell and feel to the room. Things were broken, bed was uncomfortable, few towels in the room and none provided in the pool area. Bad lighting, few outlets and when I asked for a replenishment of items (coffee, towels and TP) at 9:30am, I still did not have them at 1:30pm and had to go back and ask for them. I always stay at BW, but this one could ruin it moving forward. Don't waste your money on this particular one...YUCK!!

Our room had both a in room refrigerator and a microwave which came in handy for storing snacks and cold beverages. Front desk staff helped us into our room which was greatly appreciated as I am handicapped.

Great value ! Great rooms! Great breakfast! We always start here when we come for Jack Stack Bbq and casino fun and the flea market. Staff is always friendly and helpful as well. Location is easy to get to and close to everything !!!!! You will not be disappointed for the great price !!!!!!!

We were in Kansas City playing tourist. This hotel was under renovation when we were there. The hotel was clean, safe and comfortable. The breakfast was not that good. It wasn't far from the interstate.

Netty greeted me with a smile making check in quick & simple. Room #113 . Furnishing include a comfortable bed with five small pillows. Writing desk & swivel chair. Small stands by bed. Large cabinet holds micro/fridge, three drawer chest & flat screen. A separate comfort chair with matching foot stool on wheels. Luggage rack. Bathroom is shower/tub. Hot water for shower in four seconds. A safely handle for entering tub. Bottle or shampoo. Sink counter on the small size. Coffee maker, hair dryer & tray with ice bucket & bags of coffee. The tray was moved to a night stand making room for traveling toiletries. Tub faucet very powerful, however shower head very gentle on face & body. An open closet with eight wooden hangers. Iron & board. Carpet from door to sink. Overall carpet & bathroom very clean. Breakfast 6:30-9:30. Steamers for eggs, sausage patties, biscuits, bagels, bread, small muffins, apple & orange juice & water. Bananas & apples. Waffle maker, three dry cereals & plain oat meal. Seating is five tables with two or three chairs. The breakfast area is located behind the front desk. Guest laundry is located by the outdoor pool. Access to laundry is at the pool access door. Washer/dryer are located to the back of room, $2.00 each. This facility is two story. NO elevator. If a guest has heavy luggage, call ahead for a first room floor. With my room on first floor, my vehicle was a short distance away. Plenty of parking with each space good size. Front, side & back. This facility is off I-35, Exit 8C onto NE Anitock south. The entrance to NE 43rd St. is between a Cloud 9 & a 7-11 convenience stores The 7-11 has gas pumps. The only drawback to staying here is the lack of walk to restaurants. To the north on Anitock St., is a large number of restaurants. This facility is a bit dated, however the staff is not. Each member was friendly, helpful & wore a smile. I want to thank Netty for easy check in & guest computer help, Alzta (spelling) for direction for laundry & computer. There were two other staff that I didn't get their names. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Factors being: helpful staff, quiet neighborhood, location, cost and room's cleanliness. This was # three of five during a recent trip. Best Western is my home away from home.

Despite being a broncos fan in hostile territory, staff was friendly and helpful. It was great to see a friendly face after making it through rush hour traffic in KC. The room itself was clean, and after travelling for two weeks, it was the best shower/bed I had been in since I left home. Our air conditioner was nice, but the digital one in the room my aunt was in was hard to set and control. The pool was clean, and the water felt refreshing in the hot sun.

We stayed here for two nights and the first night, we had no problems. The second day, we enjoyed the outdoor pool area, which was lovely, until a neighborhood boy came along. He was searching the parking lot for leftover cigarettes and then motioned to his friends, who appeared to be waiting in the parking lot of the 7-Eleven adjacent to the hotel. They all came and hung out right outside the gate to the pool. You could tell they were wanting to cause trouble. We were the only two in the pool area, so we couldn't easily contact the front desk inconspicuously, so we waited until we returned to our room. My husband walked down and talked to the clerk, who didn't seem surprised and said they had problems with these boys all the time, searching the parking lot, jumping the fence to the pool, etc. The clerk did walk out to the pool, but by that point, the boys had left. It made us uncomfortable and gave us a feeling of a little bit unsafe in the long run because we didn't know if these boys were going to figure out it was us that complained about them. I would suggest the management call the police on these boys every time they are there causing problems instead of just ignoring it.

This was not a very nice stop after 11 hours in the car. It was nice that it was dog friendly for my 100 pound dog but the room smelt very musty and I woke up with the worst allergies. We were on the first floor and it was so so loud all night long. The towels were scratchy and it just seemed dirty...

Stayed here when my wife came to KC for a business training seminar. The beds were small and the room, supposedly non-smoker, smelled of smoke. Used air fresheners to abate the smell but if the three days we stayed here, the smell never went away.

The property was not were we thought it was, so we were a little turned around. The hotel was clean, although a little noisy. The air conditioner was unusually load, waking us up multiple times through out the night. The pool was very nice and refreshing. There were a number of places to eat, however they were farther than we had planned.

The staff was extreme friendly and helpful in giving us direction in places we wanted to see and things we wanted to do. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. the breakfast was good but all hotel breakfasts seem to be about the same. The main advantage was the quality of the rooms and the staff.

This facility is located on the north side of Kansas City. We chose it because we were heading north the next morning and wanted to avoid traffic. It was very clean and quiet. The breakfast was quite good and the staff was helpful and friendly. I had a voucher for a free night stay, but they treated me well, which is not always the case with free vouchers. I would advise anyone in the KC area to stay at this hotel.

Nice, clean, modern, quiet inn near I-35 and smoker-friendly. All rooms open onto parking lot. Restaurants nearby. Marginal neighborhood, but not dangerous. If being able to smoke in-room is important, County Inn is a nice alternative. Book early.

This s a well run, very clean hotel, right off I35 in Kansas City. Rooms were very comfortable, breakfast was adequate and fresh and Front desk people were polite and very helpful. Kudo's to TJ who recommended a Chinese restaurant to eat at. Altogether, a very enjoyable stay and recommended.

Right off of the freeway in a non congested area. Very quiet neighborhood. The only issue I had was parking, I'm guessing that they were fully booked during my stay. Breakfast was satisfactory, I would've liked more options and in a different style. Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay.

Hotel is in right location for my wife and I we have family in MO and KS there are good restaurants nearby the bed was not too comfortable although better than some others we have slept on room needed a bit of maintenance but was good size, they need more chairs around the hotel to relax and enjoy the outdoors, they only have two benches

This place was in a good location for an overnight stay. Nothing super fancy, but a good value. It was clean, updated, and very well cared for. Someone had taken great care to make it an inviting property with flower pots and little seating areas. The pool was small, cold, but very clean and tidy. I gave it 5 stars because it was better than expected for the price, and we had no complaints. And, the front desk helper (I think his name was CJ?) was super attentive, polite, and I watched him handle several guests with class and ease. He really was a great example of what people in the hospitality industry should be like. We'd stay again.

It is an older hotel but well maintained. It is of the type with no elevator or interior lobby connecting the rooms. We were on the second floor so thankfully we did not have a lot of luggage to haul up. I would not recommend the second floor for anyone who has difficulty with stairs. The room was clean and mostly quiet for the night. The breakfast was pretty good - a mix of typical continental and a little hot. The price was reasonable.

This was a nice hotel that worked well for the sites we were going to. The rooms were clean and overall quiet. There were some young teams staying and they were not a problem at all. I appreciated the staff and would definitely stay here again.

Great rooms with fridge and microwave in a quiet area. The breakfast was pretty good as well typical continental, with the exception on hot eggs, sausage, and biscuits. Waffle maker as well. We didn't try the pool. Internet worked fine. Very clean. I will be making this my home away from home in KC!!!!

I didn't want to stay downtown with the much higher prices. This hotel was just off the main arteries into the city, so the short commute was not difficult. The hotel itself was worth the price. The breakfast and internet were fine. The front desk folks were friendly and helpful. The negative here is that the property looks like it has a few years under it's belt. Seems that all the services in the room were working.. and even used the iron/ironing board which I don't normally do as when I'm traveling on a vacation. Hey, I'm willing to stay in such a place as the price reflects the off-prime location. Overall a good value.

Friendly front desk and the rooms are neat and clean. Enjoyed breakfast and the high speed internet was the best I have experienced from a hotel. Loved the place and will stay there again next time I'm in town.

This is a nice Hotel, not in the middle of anything but close to everything, quiet, clean and comfortable. I was working in the industrial district close to the rail yard and this was half way between that and alot of good restaurants. Basically a 5 minute drive to eat at any restaurant of your choice.

While this is an older property with outside entrance to rooms the property is well maintained. The staff at the front desk during check in and checkout was professional and friendly and he thanked me for being a BW Rewards member. The room was clean and nice with a nice sized flat screen TV. I had a great nights sleep on a comfortable bed.

This is a very nice property with great staff. I must say that this an older property with outside entrance and no elevator. Other than that, it's great. Breakfast and very friendly clerks. A little worn but Very clean. The only issue I have is housekeeping. Upon my check out, I told desk clerk I needed another 30 minutes to get out. It was raining and I didn't want to come back in the rain, (outside entrances). Within a short time housekeeping came in. I told them I needed a couple more minutes to get all my stuff. To their defense, they did not understand English and smiled but came on in and started their thing. I enjoy my privacy so I canceled my upcoming reservations here and booked elsewhere.

The room we stayed in was clean and nice. The man at the front desk was very welcoming. We found a nearby path to run on in the morning. Shopping was close. Beds were a little noisy. Breakfast was good.

This hotel was clean, spacious, and the location was safe. The breakfast had a wide assortment and the staff was hospitable. We were heading to Rock Fest and they were able to check us in at 11:30. And the price for the room was great; well be back next year.

We were greeted by a very helpful Anna -- made it easy to check-in and check-out. She helped accommodate our camper parking situation as well -- we appreciated her service! The rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast had more than enough options! We would stay again.

We were in town for the Nascar Race, and for the price that we paid for three nights was fair, however the area was okay and I would probably not stay in Kansas City, MO again, if we would not of had a navigation in our truck we would have never found the place. Just okay.

We were impressed every step of the way with the courtesy of the staff. We definitely will stay again. We stayed with our whole team for about thirty nights and the staff was helpful to us with whatever we needed. In this price range and area we found the facility extremely clean. Thanks again

Hotel is good and in a nice location. The staff is extremely friendly and goes out of their way to help you. The breakfast was okay the sitting area was extremely small. The only problem we ran into was some ants in our bathroom floor.

The staff was exceptional, courteous and informative. The rooms were clean but in need of some updating. The location was terrific when travelling on I-35. We have stayed here the last 2 years when travelling north and plan to return this coming year.

Nothing special here. Just an average place to lay your head with room decor in need of updating. Hotel is north of town so if you're wanting to visit downtown or take in a game (Kaufman or Arrowhead), it's too far out. If you are just passing through, it's a decent option but there are likely better.

My buddy's and I stayed here while on a motorcycle trip across 4 states. It was clean good location great parking for the bikes and the people here were great. Helped us with anything we needed. I will be staying here whenever I am in the area from this point on.

Very friendly staff, good breakfast and good location for the concert we went to. Would stay here again. The rooms were very dated and dark but clean and comfortable. The price is good and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Was pleased with our stay here this past week-end. We had some apprehension coming due to some of the reviews that had been posted. However, we enjoyed our stay and found the staff helpful. Definitely in a good location for access to interstates.

We will difinitely visit this hotel again if ever in N Kansas City. The room was clean The staff was friendly, The breakfast was good. The locations is easy to get to and in a nice neighborhood. There are several choices for restaurants close by all within 10 minutes. Our favorite restaurant was the Pizza Ranch Buffet within just about 15 minutes from the hotel.

This hotel has recently been refurbished with a total overhaul. It is very nice, clean and the decor was fabulous. Essentially, it is like staying at a brand new hotel. The bed was comfortable. There is no elevator so ask for a first floor room. The personnel was all very congenial and helpful. There is breakfast. The price was inexpensive. I would stay at this hotel again!

Hotel Staff were awesome. Rooms were clean, with the exception that one of them had a pet odor. Hotel is somewhat dated and did not realize at time of booking that it was an outside entrance. If you are on the main level, you hear every footstep, noise from above. Area is so-so.

Extremely friendly staff, very good breakfast and very clean. Great value for the price. We stayed with our 4 children and we had plenty of room for a pack and play AND bassinet. Staff was very nice to my kids. We had a great stay.

My wife and I always stay in Kansas City on our way to visit our daughter and her family in Waterloo, Ia.. This hotel is perfect for us because it is on two blocks of I-35 which is our route to Iowa. The staff, the room, and all aspects of this hotel are top notch. I would recommend this hotel to any one looking for a good place to stay in Kansas City.

I would say that this was an okay hotel. Friendly staff. Seemed clean enough. Just did not feel safe. Not a place we would probably stay again. The hotel was just convenient to get into and out of on our trip through Kansas City.

Although hotel appeared to be in a somewhat rundown neighborhood, it offered friendly desk clerks, very clean rooms, and comfortable beds at a very reasonable price. It does have doors open to the outside, but also deadbolts and chain locks. During a 3-night stay, we never saw anyone loitering in the area, no noise, and never felt unsafe. Parking and breakfast were adequate, with the usual breakfast offerings including a wafflemaker. There is a convenience store by the hotel. It provided a quick entrance to the interstate and about a 10 minute drive to the Spring Center. We would stay there again.

The owner/manager Kris was extremely rude when I had a situation come up. I booked the hotel through hotels.com then called the hotel directly to cancel 2 days prior to our arrival date. CJ at the front desk dropped the ball and did not cancel so I was charged for a full 1 night stay. I called and explained the situation to Kris the owner/manager who was rude and told me I had to cancel through hotels.com and I was not being responsible by getting a cancellation number when I called the hotel directly. I tried to explain that one was never offered. Kris refused to refund my money. I will never again book through hotels.com which no where does it state that you have to call them directly to cancel. In all my years of traveling for work or pleasure have I never been able to call any hotel directly to cancel a reservation. I will never stay at this hotel....EVER!!!!

We stayed overnight and had a great experience. Nothing at all to complain about, everything worked and was very clean. Pleasant staff and everything as expected. Easy interstate access and close to the airport (20 minutes) and anything in the KC area.

The staff was great and helpful , checked in late and CJ was very helpful . Was able to get to my meetings on time due to staff . Room was great and always clean when I returned . I would come back to this Hotel due to the staff all 3 that I worked with were amazing .

Everything was great for us. Nice room, clean, and very nice staff. Would stay again if in the area. Nice area too, was very quiet and felt like a very safe area. Breakfast was pretty basic, but just fine for us.

We spent one night here while on a long road trip. Inexpensive price, great complimentary breakfast. Friendly staff. Rooms are clean and pretty basic. Old style heating/AC room unit that is noisy-fan runs all the time. We would stay here again if it is just a one-night stay.

After a long day on the road, I happened to see the Best Western sign. I was tired and didn't know where I would stay that night. The staff greeted me warmly and I felt comfortable and safe. No doubt, I'll be stopping there again.

Hotel was very nice, Desk was very busy when we arrived and I had to wait for clerk who was very busy with the phone but she was polite and helped us when it was out turn. Hotel would have been hard to locate but we has GPS to get us there.

We just needed a warm place to sleep for a few hours on our way passing through. We arrived really late and left really early. Breakfast was nice, but gravy wasn't warm yet at 6:30 a.m. Parking lot was fairly small and the location wasn't the greatest.

I normally don't stay at best Western. But the price was so much better I paid total $89. They have breakfast in the morning. The parking be better. The first room we checked into the bed was dirty and lady at the front desk came down to look at it and she immediately moved us and apologized. Breakfast was cold.

stayed here and it was great, the staff was wonderful especially Ana she really made us feel welcomed she explained how to get to where we were going printed us off directions she even printed us off coupons for our food ana really was a delight we have never been treated so well at any other hotel we stayed in. the rooms were big and clean the breakfast was outstanding easy checkin because ana had all the paper work and room keys ready before we got there hotel was very nice

We were visiting our grandchildren and worried that the predicted weather would keep us from being able to leave our motel. However, the sidewalks were always salted and the parking lot cleared. As usual, the bed was extra comfy, the food was good, the room was clean and warm. We had called ahead to say we were delayed by the ice storm. They assured us it was no problem and even had the heat going in our room when we arrived. Thanks for another great trip to KC and a peaceful stay at Best Western.

the bed was comfy, and the room was extremely nice. I liked that we were seconds away from the interstate so that it made our traveling to the NFL game a lot quicker and easier. The entire hotel was very clean, and for the price I got it for I will not complain.

We had to make a fast trip to a funeral service in Iowa and needed to stay somewhere the night before the service. This was a really handy location and easy to find late at night when we arrived around midnight. The desk attendant was very kind. It was quiet--was afraid we might hear traffic noise all night. The exterior of the building was not impressive but the room was quite nice. Breakfast was good.We would definitely stay again if in the area.

Never having stayed at this Best Western, I was a bit apprehensive. I was pleasantly surprised. The room was neat and clean, the dining area for the complimentary breakfast was also very appealing. The 2 staff members I encountered were pleasant and efficient. The location, just a few feet off I35, made navigating my trip very easy.

This stay was for an anniversary getaway. Very pleasant experience with this location. CJ and Akta were very pleasant and polite at check in and check out, helpful in printing out driving directions to places we asked about. Room was clean. No issues with noise from other guests. Breakfast good.

Great breakfast was offered, I didn't really expect much because it was a smaller property but was thoroughly surprised. I had blueberries and granola in my yogurt and a banana which energized me for the rest of the day. They also had eggs, biscuits and gravy which everybody was happy about. The rooms were clean and I am a picky person AND the staff was very helpful!

Booked the room the night before arriving into Missouri directly through BW. The process was quick & easy. Turned out to be a great place for my family to stay. The room was clean & quiet. Would recommend this location to anyone.

This was just a quick in and out over night on my way back home. Check in was bit slow cuz they needed more info than my online reservation gave them. Seemed unnecessary. Room was good, breakfast basic.

My teenage son was joining his fencing team attending a national competition. I called Nov.14 (about 3 PM) to confirm that he was booked at this hotel and the woman answering the phone wasn't sure as the team rooms were booked under the coach's name. She took the coach's phone number and promised to call back to confirm. She called me back later in the evening to confirm that my son's name was recorded and that he was expected the next day as planned. It was clear that she made serious efforts and went through some difficulties to be able to give me the reassurance I needed. I was very impressed by the trouble she took that, in my experience, most places would not have done. I'm sorry that I didn't get her name so that she could get the recognition that she deserves.

This is a fatastic hotel for the money. I've stayed here many times and have enjoyed every stay. The rooms are newly remodeled and the Patel's really spent the money to make them nice. A nice breakfast and SUPER fast internet. Fridge and Microwave, in room coffee (and plenty of it). Clean shower/ tub with new fixtures and head. You are five minutes from casinos, a Target, Waffle House, good Chinese, a Wing Stop, and ten minutes from downtown. I travel a lot and absolutely love this place.

Hotel staff is very helpful and friendly, best part of the stay. Rooms are dated. TV kept losing some channels. Breakfast bar is the same every day, I was there five days. But for the price was not bad.

We were charged $104 for this room which was small and dark. The light bulbs were very low wattage and some didn't work. We were put on the second floor which was difficult because we had 2 dogs that needed to go out at night., Also, we had to leave our building to go to the breakfast area. The breakfast room was very small and the hotel was jammed so it was difficult to move around in and find seating.

If you like the Chamiere neighborhood in North Kansas City (as I do), I think you'll find this hotel quiet and comfortable. No restos within walking distance that I could find. There is a Quick Trip around the corner, however.

Stayed here for business. First night people in next room loud. Had asked for 1:30am wake up call since had to be at work at 3:30am....NO CALL. Glad had cell phone alarm set. Second night, had asked for 2:00an wake up call, nothing!! Room was chilly so turned heat on while showered, cane out, colder than when went in for shower. Third night,got back to room at 10:30pm after work, was cold,damp due to rain, turned heat on, just cold air. Called front next, let phone ring and ring for 3 minutes, no answer. When I checked out St 6:00 am on fourth day, told desk clerk about issues, calls and how disappointed I was, he said, SORRY. Got home, have sore throat, cough and stuffy nose, feel from room NOT having heat. WON'T STAY HERE AGAIN. ... I was in room 221.DOESN'T HOLD UP TO BW EXPECTATIONS....more like a Motel 6

Great hotel managed by a excellent manager and staff. Quiet out of the way location makes for a quiet stay but close enough to major highways. Stayed for Nascar and Royals game with easy access to both. Great KC Bar B Q dining close by. Newly renovated rooms made it like sleeping on a cloud. Will be back here next time in KC.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and they were great. My family wanted to see the Royals and stay at a quality hotel and this fit all of our needs at a super price. When we come down to see another game we will definitely stay at Best Western.

I am somewhat a regular to this hotel and the staff is always very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The lobby is welcoming and the breakfast is wonderful. Rooms are clean but sometimes, depending on room the bed isn't the best. I think they are in process of renovating... Great place to stay, right off highway.

As others have said not in the best neighborhood - picture in AA is deceptive. When I arrived (after making reservation on road) construction material,etc filled many of the few parking spots.Sign for the hotel proclaimed new beds, etc. Not so, my bed was completely worn out. Consider alternatives.

Super friendly staff, rooms look much better on the inside than the hotel looks from the outside. Bed is super comfortable, good water pressure, decent warm breakfast for the price. My only complaint is the walls are super thin so I would often get woken up early in the morning from people talking.

Very easy to find just off of I-35. Great accommodations! Will stay whenever I'm in the area. Close to downtown North Kansas City and good food! Priced right and the Best Western beds give the comfort of a downtown 4 star hotel! And remodeling for the future.

Clean. Easy check-in. Super small beds. Easy access to I 35. Small bathroom Fair breakfast. Sirens all night. Good price for medium motel. Needs lot of remodeling done. The rooms need to be larger. 2 double bed but they are about the size of a twin bed
