This place was nice and right at the airport. I was surprised at how quiet it was being that close to the airport. Nice breakfast selection and they don't advertise but you can park there if flying out of DFW. 5.00 a day and was a safe location. My parking rate for our trip was going to be 160.00. Uber to the airport and return and total was about 60.00 for entire time. It literally almost paid for hotel. Definitely recommend
Great location for DFW airport. Grapevine was near and had great restaurants and historic Main Street. Hotel had guest laundry which was useful to go home with clean clothes. Room was quiet even though next to airport. Gas station nearby so cd fill up before returning to Rental Depot on service roads instead of the Freeway,
The hotel is very clean and relaxing and great for family night stay. The pool is large, clean, very relaxing and has a nice hot tub with lots of lounge, chairs, and shade. The breakfast staff is very nice. Keep the food Area clean well stocked. Also, fresh chopped fruit in the morning. So very good location located really close to the DFW airport and only 3 1/2 miles from Grapevine Mills mall
Nothing around close to eat, hotel has bad breakfast only. Hotel AC does not function properly, room was sticky and hot. Internet never worked, so if you require internet as most business traveller's, definitely not the place for you. Front desk never seemed to have anyone after hours, calls to front desk just rings out. Hotel and area did not feel safe, definitely a once and never again place. Booking showed a Hotel shuttle, there was none....keep looking....not the place to be.
I would not recommend staying at this hotel. The room smelt terrible. I was traveling and need to stay at the hotel close to the airport. BIG mistake with this hotel, when asked for the snack area (the front desk clerk was very nice and helpful) I found ice cream grab a few and headed up to my room. When opening the ice cream, it had been thawed out and refrozen (awful). I turned on the air thinking the room had been closed up to long, but it never helped with the smell. Disappointing stay.
Everything was good about hotel, except plane flyovers and the incidental fee was a little steep for what we normally pay at best western
We needed a place to stay after a very late arrival at DFW. the hotel was very nice and we would stay again. Easy to get to, clean room, good breakfast, good parking. Some airport noise but not unsettling - the convenience more than made up for it.
We needed a hotel to stay in for the night because our flight was delayed until the next day. We booked through best western plus near the airport. Emily at the front desk was very helpful and was able to book us a room right away. We got an early check in. Thank you so much!
I didn't expect to have such impeccable customer service. The room was exceptionally clean, the hotel lobby and even into the dining area...were all decorated for the upcoming holiday. Each desk representative (all shifts) were helpful and attentive. I will stay here whenever I'm in the DFW Airport area. People don't think of Best Western as luxury hotel and they expect the worst. I'm here to tell you that I felt as if I was in a luxury hotel with how the room & bedding was...CLEAN! I can't thank them enough. I was stranded and booked this hotel while in the parking lot. They had rooms and helped me with no problem.
Excellent service, clean, and the suites are incredibly spacious. Was able to get two queens, instead of two doubles, which is a big plus too! And very affordable - probably the best bang for the buck I've ever seen in a lot of family travel. Highly recommend. Only downside: no shuttle to/from airport.
No complaints at all!! Everyone slept good!! The hotel appearance was noticably clean, up to date, and nice!! All stay was helpful and friendly. The front desk was happy to provide a blanket and pillow when we asked.
I had a very late night mishap at the airport and had to get a room last minute ago at the front desk was sympathetic and very nice getting into a good room. Everything was very clean and when I missed the standby the next day she was able to accommodate me once again, and get me in early to another extremely nice clean room. We definitely stay here again I was happy about everything.
Hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. Room and amenities were very clean and well taken care of. Location was conveniently close to the DFW Airport for those who may be traveling. Stayed for one night, but the time spent at the hotel was exceptionally great! Our room was an excellent size for its value (more than enough for my significant other and I). Finished our stay the following morning with the complimentary breakfast before checking out. 10/10 would recommend.
Friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable and clean rooms. Great amenities for the price. Good breakfast with decent variety and even some healthy options. Didn't get time to use the pool and fitness but they looked to be decent. Would recommend.
My only complaint and it's with most hotels is the beds are always super firm Room was clean and had everything I needed We didn't try the breakfast or use any of the extras except the internet Even with it so close to airport the noise level was low
This hotel doesn't have an airport shuttle so we paid $20 to get here from the airport and $45 to Uber back. The room is clean. The king size bed had 4 miniature pillows which we're very uncomfortable to sleep on. The pillows would be more appropriate for a toddler size bed. Breakfast was nothing special.
The breakfast was average but hot. The pool area was nice and clean, but we did not get in. The laundry room was clean and the machines work well. One issue was the odor in the lobby, the other was the roach found in our bathroom.
we stayed in room 131, I kept smelling a horrible Oder and right before laying down our grandson got up off the loveseat and the cushion slide over and there was a horrible wet spot on the hid abed mattress. I have stayed here several times and this time was hard I was up off and, on all night, smelling that mattress. Best Western has always been my go-to for cleanliness and good service, but that night has me rethinking my choices. The working that I delt with were all courteous.
Stayed in room 327 facing the busy interstate highway. The high pitched not stop, continuous, noise from the highway, emanating through the window was torture. It was the loudest highway noise in a hotel room I have ever experienced. It was a semblance of non stop eternal hell. The owner needs to make an investment to add triple pane windows to the rooms that face the highway to muffle that noise. The noise was so loud I felt like I was on the positioned directly on the shoulder of the highway. Everything else in the hotel was not bad, average. breakfast was good with the waffles, coffee. Eggs were good. Help at the desk was courteous. But these decent qualities were diluted by the loud, hellish drone of the highway noise loudly penetrating through the room 327 window.
Property is great for a short stay by the airport. It's a bit dated, but the rooms are big, clean and the bed is comfy. Fridge and microwave are also great! Breakfast is very very very basic, but free, so no complaints. Check in was a bit rough but staff were otherwise helpful. Not sure how their justification for ending the airport shuttle service ending makes any sense though...
The hotel is fine though not fancy. The breakfast is great. The problem is, this hotel is very isolated. Besides the Whataburger at the gas station, there is nothing within walking distance. And I mean nothing. And the hotel has no airport shuttle. So count on an extra $20 Uber ride each way get to and from the airport.
Dingy couch, filthy windows, stained sheet, unconcerned and unprofessional front desk agent, missing breakfast attendant. Housekeeping entered room with knocking. Language barrier was obvious with some of the staff. Good location but they missed so many opportunities to make up for these issues. Bottom line is after all the reported issues, not one sincere apology was offered.
I guess this is one of those cases where you get what you pay for. My eyes were burning from all the cleaning chemicals they use. The room felt old and worn and the fan didn't work on the air conditioning. However, it was quiet, close to the airport and reasonably priced.
My husband and I came to Texas for the holidays. Upon arriving were we greeted by a very friendly receptionist. She informed us there had been a broken pipe and so we were welcome to stay or find other accommodation. We chose to stay and we're very glad we did. The rooms were clean, the breakfast buffet was hot and well stocked. Every staff member we had interacted with was amazing, polite, and professional. I was also very nice I close to the airport it was along with the location to the Dallas/Fortworth area. Will definitely stay here again.
Very nice little hotel near DFW Airport. They have airport transfers and the Parking Spot is right behind the hotel. Lots of resturants and shopping in the area. You can watch the planes take off and land from your room but it is a quiet area
We booked our room quickly after missing our connecting flight and put on an early flight the next day. We were glad we found this hotel, as the service was very friendly and efficient. Our room was very clean and comfortable and allowed us to get some rest before our flight. The hotel is less than ten minutes from the airport and we had the hotel schedule a car to pick up and drop us off.
This is the second time we have stayed this year, Nice clean room staff very helpful arranged for our taxi to collect us and transport us to dfw airport lovely breakfast as good as the last time we stayed, so handy for Fort worth airport
Clean, great service and real breakfast. The staff is awesome and I have to say it again - a real breakfast, fresh eggs cooked to order or scrambled on the buffet. The bed was comfortable, the sound from the room next to me was completely eliminated by solid walls. Little hall way noise and the TV from the rooms next to me could not be heard. Great sleep!
Ate breakfast at the hotel both days. Day one I noticed there were no bagels although cream cheese had been put out. There was also no peanut butter or black tea...only green tea. One conspicuous item was the omelet station. The space was so darkly lit that it looked like a cave. Would not have even known it was there, but then I saw a large carton of eggs through the plexiglass when I went to get my coffee. Day two was the same way. An unbelievably dark omelet station area and then I noticed a person sitting there looking at her phone. Asked this person to make me 2 eggs over medium, and she did so but gave the impression that I was asking a lot...and interrupting her time on the phone. Recall thinking to myself that the area must be so poorly lit that she is hoping no one will notice her sitting there. A/C unit was noisy and I could not adust the fan speed. It appeared to be stuck on high. Depressing gym.
Overall a very good experience. Clean and comfortable room. Front desk staff was friendly and efficient at check in and check out. Breakfast was somewhat disappointing-but waffles were fine. Signage is small and easy to miss from freeway. Good value.
We traveled to DFW area for a wedding from different parts of the state. It was convenient to the airport and other areas near Dallas Fort Worth. Breakfast was good and the beds & linens are really nice. I'll continue to stay with the Best Western chain of hotels. I haven't been disappointed.
We missed our flight our of DFW due to weather, so we booked online while at the airport and got a cab to the hotel. They gave us a quiet room which we requested which was nice. Room was clean and comfortable, all appliances worked in room. Bath was a bit small but it worked, nice hot shower with good pressure for rinsing hair. The suite is nice as there is a couch to sit on and a coffee table to sit and relax for a bit before heading to bed. A hotel shuttle would be nice to add.
When we arrived there were firetrucks and ambulances in the drive through entrances. At 11:00 PM we were able to enter the hotel. The desk clerk was very nice and understanding about the fire next door
Will not disappoint Great location for Dfw airport Food shopping few miles away Good value for price We stayed the afternoon prior to early morning flight Literally 10 mins to airport terminal Will definitely stay here again
The Hotel was very good, near to the airport. The room was clean with a cosy king size bed, bathtube, iron machine and hair dryer. The price included the good breakfast, and we used the pool and the indoor gym as well. The staff was kind and polite, but Stephanie in the reception was the best, with her lovely smile and helpfulness.
Nice size room queen beds could do with a brighter colour on the walls, staff very nice, breakfast was the best of the trip, asked for fried eggs sunny side up and that's what I got, plenty of choice, and the taxi was on time nice clean car and the driver was a very nice chap
All hotel staff is always so helpful and understanding. They do their job with a smile from the minute you arrive. That is the sole reason I stay at BW plus hotels anytime I travel. The breakfast is nice and hot.
The location is fabulous! Everything was clean and neatly placed. My flight to DFW was delayed for 5 hours and I didn't check in until about 2 a.m. The gentleman at the front desk was so kind he held my reservation and gave me a late check out.
Great location for the price. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was beautiful and very spacious. This hotel had great amenities for the price. I wish the breakfast was better but I am sure that is because of the pandemic. They did prepare eggs made to order.
I was quite happy with my stay at the BW Plus DFW and would most definitely stay again. The breakfast was great, the staff was friendly, the room comfortable. Everything I could've asked for was delivered. I will continue to stay at Best Westerns and will stay at this specific BW my next time coming through Dallas.
Over all a good experience. Freindly staff, close to the airport. The bed and pillows were some of the most comfortable I have slept on. Good value for the money. My only complaint is the temp of the jacuzzi being too low.
Stayed this weekend and had a great experience. Really enjoyed how they're doing breakfast now. You let them know how you like your eggs and if you want the protein of the day and they prepare it for you. Was very good both mornings. Room was very large and comfortable
We had a flight cancelled and had to stay overnight in Dallas. I was pleasantly surprised to find a hotel so near the airport that was so reasonably priced. The rooms are spacious and our stay included a full breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The place outside looks good, inside it just looks old. The rooms look old, the bathrooms you can tell have had work done and cheap redo. Couches and chairs were dirty and felt super cheap. They don't wear masks which during peak covid time it felt unsafe.
Very friendly, welcoming and professional staff. Nice lobby and breakfast. Nice pool and spa area. Comfortable room. Nice amount of space. All rooms are suites. No van service to and from the DFW airport is the only negative
The staff, particularly the front desk worker, were welcoming and caring. I arrived after a difficult and long travel day (24 hours of travel plus a 20 min window to catch an international connection earlier that day). I was so tired I didn't notice when the cab drove off with two pieces of my luggage. She immediately got on the cab company website and spoke to someone. She did this and was handle to help other guests effortlessly. No one who approached her had to wait for anything. She made sure to communicate the problem with the next shift worker and left him notes. Eventually, I got my bags back. The cool in the morning made really good eggs and cheese and was cheery plus the other front desk workers were nice and attentive. I do recommend people have options for transportation to the airport. My Uber canceled at the last minute and every cab company said they wouldn't do it. Again the front desk helped.
It is a small, affordable, but very comfortable hotel for commuters. Easily reachable by DFW, right next to it. 3 minute drive from picking people up or droppiing them off. Helpful staff and homey atmosphere, and it happens to be next to a Whataburger. (That fact doesn't hurt the hotel's reputation in my Texas opinion.!)
This is a great location. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. I slept like a rock. The internet service was strong. The staff was accommodating to our need. The only qualm I had, which is small, is I wish they had a 'grab-n-go' breakfast bag. Those of us that travel often leave well before 6:30am. Having a grab bag would make it a 5 star rating for me.
Great to get good accommodation during an already troubled trip. The hotel was easy to arrange the stay. The booking took patience because phone signal was dropping call due yo out of service zones and hotel hung in there. Staff was very supportive in arranging trip to airport and allowing late checkout.
Room was a little older but bed was comfortable and staff was friendly. I usually stay at BW on work related trips. This was the first for my family. Didn't have any problems at all. Quiet and clean. Perfect combination
Not sure who had the bright idea to get rid of box springs and use a pillow top on a firm mattress sitting on a flat piece of wood with a flat sheet that wrinkles with the pillow top and 4 small rectangular hard pillows. This arrangement needs vast improvement. It is a nice place to work out shower and blow dry your hair if that is all you want out of a room.
Stayed here for 3 nights cause it was the only hotel available at the time that would accept my points. Very comfortable hotel and convenient to Grapevine where you can shop and eat. Little noisy from the highway traffic. Sits at the north end of DFW runways but never really noticed the aircraft landing while in the room. My only complaint with the room was the full size beds. Gets a little crowded with two people in a bed.
The rooms are big, clean and just right for what we need. We live in the DFW area, but have stayed here several times when we have a really early flight out of DFW. The convenience is worth it. It is a couple of blocks from the Parking Spot that we use which makes this a perfect location.
Best Western Plus? The Plus: Gang/drug activity Worn down old hotel Numerous people occupying 1 room Appears to be a state sponsored shelter for the indigent. If this is the case- BW has an obligation to disclose this to paying guests.
Very convenient location close to airport. Older property with large rooms, well appointed and decent breakfast with nice coffee bar and eggs and sausage. Very friendly staff. Would recommend if traveling and need location handy to airport.
The hotel is under some renovations, much-needed. It's dingy. The AC unit was cool, but the air wasn't conditioned well, so it was muggy all night. The shower also didn't work. The bed was good, however. There was newer carpet, too, but just needed more to make it comfortable.
Very comfortable room and excellent bed. Serve a hot cooked to order breakfast too. Coffee machine with all the bells and whistles, cappucino, expresso etc. Very clean room, staff also pleasant. Great location near the airport.
If you want a quick and efficient nights stay then this is the place to be. Only a few miles from the airport. The breakfast was great. Cooked right there with eggs, sausage, toast , waffles and more.
The stay was great. Walls are a bit thin, but the rooms were pleasant and relaxing. I enjoyed my stay. Many hotels were sold out at the time but best western got me in. Great morning breakfast where they have someone actually cooking real eggs and not the powdered. Very convenient. Would stay again.
Great hotel stay! Hotel rooms are clean, comfortable,& staff is courteous! No problems at anytime during our stay! Breakfast selection was great and kitchen help was prompt in prepping hot breakfast meal! Housekeeping did a great job with keeping the lobby and rooms fabulously clean!!
I waited half an hour at the airport until I eventually called the hotel to find out the advertised shuttle had been cancelled and had to pay a fortune in Uber fees for a small trip from the airport. Room was average, water pressure low and noisy old aircon. I requested a late checkout at the time of booking which I needed as I was passing through and had 5 hours after normal checkout. On the day of checkout they told me they could no longer offer it as the cleaning staff wanted to leave by 12. With the covid crisis that left me to expose myself at the airport or walk around the closed city of Dallas for 5 hours exposing myself to covid. Rubbish all round, I would have stayed somewhere else, lots of other hotels around
This was a lovely property with a good location and easy access to highway and airport. My room was nice decor and very clean. Excellent value for the price. Comfy bed and pillows. TV had excellent reception
My hubs and I were on a trip to visit granddaughter. Needed a hotel by DFW. The problem with the covid on, at this time, is hotels are not using their hot tub, pools, or giving any decent breakfasts! The 3 things we love with a hotel stay! They all still say, they have them, but they don't. Found this one through reviews. Lady made us ham, eggs and waffles behind a plexiglass and we went in the hot tub. Best Western made our trip complete and fun during this terrible pandemic ! The price was also perfect and hotel room extremely clean! A must go!
Last minute stay due to moving, we arrived after dinner and ask for a last minute room. The front desk was very helpful in our particular situation. Gave us a great rate. Friendly. The only thing I didn't like was breakfast. I understand self-serve breakfast is not available at any hotel. They did have a person making waffles, but due to diet needs, can't eat high carb foods. We asked for a breakfast bag, and it still was all high carb stuff. We were given an apple, so it did help. Juices and coffee were available. I believe the last time we stayed (prior to a cruise) it was disastrous. We would be willing to stay here again due to the service we received this time.
I would not stay there. I have in the past with no issues but they suddenly changed everything leaving my family waiting at the airport for 45 minutes w out a shuttle. were not helpful or remorseful. Breakfast was not a meal at all. it was cold eggs wrapped in a tortilla with hotdogs in it. so disgusting. not even fruit available. this is the reason we booked it, for the shuttle and continental breakfast, I should have been given a discount.
Beware of dirty light switches and homeless people cussing and yells inside the lobby they do have some breakfast umm how would a dirty homeless man get in we had to use a key card. We paid good money to be inside where it was cool. He would have been fine if not for the yelling and cussing. My hope is they cleaned the area he was sitting in I'm not pred again homless was just concerned how he could get in without paying and his clean apperance during this covid time
Stayed here before and after our flight. Very nice hotel. Shuttle left alot to be desired!! Driver was a bit crazy. But overall a nice stay. We will definitely stay here again. Even though they will not have any shuttles anymore to airport
Staff served hot breakfast even during covid and stayed compliant. Pool opens at 8 am - nice for morning preparation for work. Hotel was clean. They were able to put incidentals on your card that you checked in with!
When i came in the room the fridge is a little bit cracked and rusty and the toilet runs by itself and the drain cover is broken and the light by the bed has two different tones. Overall i am definitely going to come back whenever I am in the Area In Dallas but there is some maintenance issues.
Stayed here one night for early flight. Very convenient to airport. Left too early to try the breakfasts. Room was spacious and clean. A tad noise from the highway but wasn't overly bad. Was economical rate so I felt it was an excellent choice for what I needed
Staying here prior to next day early morning flight. Won't get to eat the complimentary breakfast, but the area looks well equipped. Room is spacious in all-suite facility. Bed seems comfortable. Would stay again.
Between flights from the U.K. to Mexico City I stayed overnight here. The hotel is fairly far from the airport, and it took an hour for the shuttle to arrive at the terminal. There are no eateries nearby and the hotel bar was not open. My room was large enough, but appeared to be very tired. Yes, there was a kettle and what passed for a coffee pod, but oh brother—the resulting cup was weak and foul. Down the hallway there was a small gym with a few machines and treadmill, enough for a small workout. Overall, the hotel seemed to have seen better days. One girl only behind reception desk. She seemed tired, too.
Due to a fluke, we needed a last minute place to stay that had hotel shuttle service. Considering that we are rewards members of Best Western, we chose this facility. The phone call was placed and we were on hold a long time. Long enough for me to find a bathroom, do my business, come out, and my husband was just then talking to a real person. It was another rather lengthy time (per phone records, 18 minutes) until the shuttle arrived. Finally dropped off at hotel. NO airline discount (airline employee). NO military discount (veteran). NO senior discount (both are seniors). NO Best Western rewards discount. NO discount of any sort. Before leaving the front desk, verified numerous times that shuttle left at 5.45am with arrival at DFW at 6.05. Front desk saw me write down shuttle time on the envelope for the key. Verified again! shuttle was at 5.45am. Next morning, arrived at front desk at 5.30 only to be told "the shuttle left at 5.25." NO phone call to see if we were coming down or why we weren't there. If we took the next shuttle, we would not make our flight. Called for a taxi, but while we were waiting for the taxi, it ended up that another guest was using Uber/Lyft and we were able to hitch a ride with them. In the mean time, we asked about the sack breakfast. Guess again. NO coffee. NO milk. NO juice. NO sack breakfast. Oh. That's right. We could have pre-packages muffins. There was no sack breakfast for us. We will stay at a BW again since we usually have excellent customer service, discounts, etc. And, they cater to motorcycle riders/drivers. But this BW was horrible. A discount chain would have been much better.
Great hotel. $15 or $20 more than some of the other hotels in the immediate area, but well worth it. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are large, comfortable, and spotless. The hotel is away from the service road, so the highway road noise is minimal. The breakfast is excellent for any hotel. It is a great place to stay.
It was a last minute booking because of a layover. For what we paid, the room was huge and beautiful. The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff was helpful and nice. It exceeded expectations in every way. Everything was incredible.
Beware of the airport shuttle experience. It took me over 1hr to get to the hotel when I arrived at DFW at 11pm at night. They share the shuttle with so many other properties and there are so many terminals at DFW, that the shuttle only comes once every 45min. The Hotel will tell you once 30min is the loop, but that wasn't my experience.
We were in town covering to Goodyear Cotton Bowl (I'm a sports writer, my boyfriend is a photographer). We didn't plan to stay Saturday night until halftime of the game. I found this hotel, saw the great price and good reviews and booked it right away. We arrived and were checked in quickly and able to sign up for the airport shuttle the next morning to catch our flight. The room was clean, cozy and the bed was comfy! We woke up the next morning to catch the shuttle to the airport at 4:45AM. Despite breakfast not being until 7AM, we were offered coffee and able to get some muffins, granola bars, toast, etc. The only complaint we actually have is the shuttle driver. I don't think that's at any fault of the hotel but I want people to be aware. He arrived and basically threw everyone's luggage into the back (ours included $20,000+ in laptops and camera equipment so we were less than pleased). He began driving to the airport and it was terrifying. He was driving between lanes, swerving, talking on the phone and taking turns crazy fast. He also almost rear ended at least two vehicles. We ended up getting off at a terminal that wasn't ours and taking the airport shuttle service to the terminal we needed just to get out of the van. I highly recommend this hotel but also recommend that you splurge for a Lyft or Uber to get to the airport!
We had an excellent stay, arriving late evening. Easy shuttle from airport very fast pickup and very short walk to purple signs. Lovely breakfast with Karyn and very friendly and welcoming staff. Comfortable beds and large rooms.
I was stuck in Dallas because of flight delays and cancellations. The last thing I wanted to do was stay in a hotel over the holidays alone, however with the beautiful lobby, friendly and helpful staff, clean and inviting atmosphere I was at least able to relax and it made having to be stranded over the holidays at least manageable.
Our stay was great nice clean room friendly staff. Great location not to far from restaurants or activities. Not to far from Dallas and airport. Breakfast was fresh and hot .how much more can I say if you ever need to get away this is the place.
The BW in Irving was okay. The front desk folks were friendly and let me check in a couple hours early. The WiFi worked well as I did some catch up for work. I didn't recall any major noise issues from DFW traffic.
Shuttle slow. Allow half hour wait at airport, then 25 min ride.If you're in a hurry, take an Uber. Pleasant helpful desk staff. Clean. Comfortable. Stench of meat in morning is offputting. Magazines in lobby. Free water in room.
The outside appearance of the hotel was very nice. The library was extremely clean. However upon walking into a room be door was ajar. Which we advised the front desk are. We made Italy noticed a very strong odor similar to body odor throughout the room. for help when we advise the front desk of this the front desk stayed at the hotel was 100% booked and there was nothing that they can do. Unfortunately we booked this hotel with points. As a diamond member the Best Western we were extremely disappointed and extremely dissatisfied with the cleanliness of the room.
Booked using Expedia. Booked a king sized room but the hotel moved us to a handicapped room (which we are not, nor did we ask for that) Not quite the room we had planned. The room was no where near as nice as the one in Waco. The staff was nice and very helpful with getting us in the room but dd not have the ability to move us to a different room even though the hotel was nowhere near full.......The location worked good for us as we had a flight the next morning and it is only about ten minutes from the airport. Not alot of food near we had to drive a ways to get to it. very disappointed
This hotel is really good , the location is on point. Theres a lot of things to do around the area, restaurants & stores. The customer service is really good also the price for the hotel is really good for the quality of the hotel. Overall great hotel.
It was a last minute business trip I had to reserve for my husband. Simple and easy to reserve.Arrived late however room was no problem. Quite clean and very comfortable. I love Best Westerns only hotel my family and I stay at.
I stayed here after my other hotel was no able to add a day to my reservation. The front desk staff was very friendly. I got to my room and it was very clean. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. The towels were a bit rough. Morning breakfast had the Texas shaped waffle makers, which I always enjoy. There was an egg selection and breakfast sausages. The staff was wonderful and very friendly. I did not use the pool area.
Comfortable hotel, however rooms could use an update. Beds where comfortable and room was clean. Overall a great night sleep before a long flight. Very friendly front desk staff nda breakfast attendants. and great breakfast.
We were thankful to find this hotel. We were flying a relative out of DFW on an early morning flight and they accommodated us with shuttle service to and from the airport. I'd still be looking for the departing gate if they hadn't of helped us out with the shuttle. Thanks BW
Very clean. Nice, attentive employees and the best breakfast I have experienced in similar hotels. The pool is very large and clean/new. I have stayed in several hotels in the same area over the past year and Best Western Plus is clearly the best I have experienced. 5 stars!!
We use this airport for an overnight stay before an early flight out of DFW. It has always been perfect for what we need. Staff is great, check in is easy, rooms are clean and price is reasonable. Certainly a place we will continue to use as needed and will recommend to others.
Reserved a room for 07-22-19, after landing at DFW at 6:00pm called the hotel for a shuttle, no answer for over on hour. After finally making contact with front desk I was put on hold, meanwhile a Best Western shuttle shows up, so I hang up to talk to shuttle driver. Turns out that it is the shuttle for the Best Western on 4110 W Airport Freeway, not the Best Western Plus on 5050 W John Carpenter Freeway where I had booked the room. Driver informs me he cannot help me because his shuttle only serves the Best Western on 4110 W Airport Freeway. I again begin calling the front desk for a shuttle and no response for another 15 minutes when the same shuttle driver returns and says he can help me out and to get on. Unbeknownst to me he takes me to the property at 4110 W Airport Freeway when we already had a previous conversation the first time that I'm booked at the Best Western Plus on John Carpenter, Airport Freeway and drops me off. I get inside to the front desk and they tell me I'm at the wrong Best Western and need to return to the airport so I can get the right shuttle. At this point I've had about as much as I can take and decide it would just be best to get an Uber or Lyft so I can get to the hotel. I try calling one more time and the front desk finally picks up. "Mary" said she has been busy checking in guests and could not answer the phone. She said to return to the airport and they will send a shuttle. So, over 2 hours later I finally get to the hotel. I never had an experience like this in all of the time I've ever traveled and never will again, because I will NEVER use Best Western in the future.
Stayed here two weekends on the front and back end of our roadtrip vacation. Staff was nice and rooms were comfortable. Kept the AC as low as it would go and it did ok. Breakfast was decent, beds were pretty good. Definitely good enough for a short stay.
Our flight home was cancelled and we had to spend the night at DFW to sleep and get back on a 7am flight. Staff failed to mention the shuttle is a shared van with multiple other hotels and may take well over an hour, even though the hotel is advertised as being right by DFW airport. After landing at midnight, I called the hotel and was told the shuttle was leaving right away and would be there in 15 minutes. An hour and a half later, after multiple calls to the hotel and reassurance that the shuttle would be there "any minute", the shuttle finally arrived. In that time, dozens of other hotel shuttles had passed by. I spoke with the other passengers already in the van who said they'd all waited over 40 minutes. If the hotel is not willing to hire their own shuttle, it needs to be transparent to its customers about having a shared van and realistic wait times. Had I known it would take an hour and a half for what should be less than a 10 minute ride, I would have chosen a different hotel or called a taxi. The hotel room itself was great and the bed was very comfortable. However, the time wasted waiting for the shuttle was not worth it and I would not stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay here. The room was roomy. The rate was reasonable. We had a good nights sleep as the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was OK. We would stay here again if we were in this area.
This was a really nice hotel. Rooms were large and AC kept the room very cool. Breakfast was great-cracked and scrambled real eggs! The front desk was pretty slow on the check in-problems with Corporate Lodging reservations. The front desk was awesome the rest of my stay. Very clean and comfortable. Surprised they still had live poinsettias in the lobby. Maybe they should add some American Flags to them to tie in the summer holidays! LOL!
We loved our room at this hotel - it was beautiful, spacious and serene. There was a microwave and a fridge. The hotel was clean and lovely. The reception was courteous and helpful. There are two systemic problems. The hotel has some kind of weird phone system; when you call them there is all kinds of static and whining electricity sounds, and it is hard to communicate. The second problem was more problematic. We waited an hour and a half for the shuttle ride. You have to call the hotel when you get there and they call the shuttle service, which is shared by several hotels. We were told the shuttle would come, after five phone calls. An hour later, the shuttle drove by, fast, in the fast lane, as we waved and tried to get his attention, but he ignored us. Half an hour later another shuttle came, and this driver was constantly on his radio, driving erratically, and shoving us all in together like sardines. It was very unpleasant. When we got to the hotel, we discovered the nearby "restaurant" was a Whataburger located in a gas station quite a walk away. Fortunately, we could make do with frozen entrees from the hotel "market" and our microwave. Lovely hotel, ruined by inferior shuttle service. Having said that, the shuttle ride to the airport the next morning was entirely different; professional, courteous, safe and uncrowded.
Stay here. It is better than 80% of the BW brand. Courteous staff. Comfortable rooms/beds. Good standard breakfast with nice help. Be sure not to arrive without a reservation cirmation NUMBER> AVOID frustration.Happy place.
Check-in available even after midnight, and shuttle service is provided to and from the airport. The rooms are huge and rates include breakfast. A shuttle was supposed to drive us to DFW at the designated time, but we were traveling with an infant and had some unavoidable delay. They offered to wait a little longer. In the end, we just decided to take Lyft to avoid inconveniencing the other passengers who would've been on the same shuttle service, but we certainly appreciated the gesture!
Wonderful experience, great room with all the needed amenities for someone in DFW for a conference. Couldn't have asked for a more smooth process in checking in and signing out. Everyone was extrememly helpful
The staff were more than knowledgeable and friendly when it came to resolving my problems. Will certainly be returning to stay at the hotel again on next visit. I was shocked to see a staff member who actually cares for the customers.
I loved the staff, the airport transfer was very easy to organise, food was great and lots of variety . I will definitely recommend this to all my friends in Australia . And the united states of America
Have stayed at Best Western on numerous occasions, have found them value for money and very comfortable. This Hotel was grubby, lacked any facility. Staff were good but seemed to be fighting a losing battle. Shuttle bus to get there was inconsistent with other Shuttle Bus facilicity, nearly two hours of wait, lacking any identification. Breakfast was eating on plastics plates, plastic knife and forks, food and coffee, rubbish.
I unexpectedly had to spend the night in Dallas and gave my normal hotel a call to see about a room. They wanted almost $250 for the night... I instead gave this hotel a call and got a nice comfortable room for more then half that. Staff was friendly. They have a shared shuttle bus system to the airport that worked fine.
Great hotel. Every single staff member we encountered was very friendly and helpful. Clean rooms overall nice hotel. Located right next to Dfw Airport was nice being able to look out the window and watch the airplanes taking off and landing
Overall good property rooms and staff are first class—that said to get a “5” they need to: Extend late check out to “gold members” Stop serving “flat tasting orange juice” Clean up these issues and they instantly become a 5 star rated property
Most enjoyable stay This best western has the most accommodating staff Room was extremely clean. coffee and tea is available at any time. Located very close to the airport and is conveniently located close to other attractions.
I loved my experience here. The staff were friendly, hotel clean..inside and outside the facility. Not very much parking, but enough...I guess. In a good location. The surrounding roads were being repaired, that was the only nuisance.
Excellent experience - was very fortunate to find this place as my flight was canceled and I had to rebook for the next day I thought I would just stay at the airport but my daughter felt I needed to stay at a hotel and she picked this best western plus it was an awesome hotel experience. The young lady at the desk who helped me many times on the phone to find the shuttle as the airport is so big was over and above helpful. When I checked in the young man at the desk was equally as helpful and explained the breakfast in the morning and if there was anything they could help me with just let him know very very accommodating. The next day I went to the breakfast and I must say it had a great selection and very tasty food and the lady that run it I believe her name was Karen was very cordial and made sure everything was clean and appealing. I was able to do an extended check out as my flight wasn't till 630 in the evening and the shuttle picked me up and took me back I would give it a 10 on over all experience.
No hiway sign, so overshot the place, then got lost in the dark, rain, and construction. Once I arrived was favorably impressed. Quiet- no train and very little plane noise. Nice room, compared to older BW's. Shocked to find almond milk for breakfast as well as a sort of "homemade" yogurt. Hot tub. Friendly staff. Great Value. I downgrade for lack of hiway sign, no plastic recycling, no pineapple to help offset the awful DFW air quality.
I waited for an hour for the van to take me to the hotel. When the van arrived, it was a sub-contracted vehicle and driver. The outside of the van was dirty. On the inside it was dirty with torn seats. If the people inside had not looked presentable I would have, after waiting all this time, taken a cab. When I reached the hotel, the person at the desk was, at the very least, aloof. At the very most she might have been considered rude. She was very poised and beautifully groomed. But acted bored and uninterested during the check-in process, never making eye contact with me. No, she was not busy. I was the only person checking in. I went to my room. Besides being unattractive in decor; duo-toned carpet, dark enough to make one feel uneasy. The bed linens were way below standard. The blanket so thin it provided no warmth. Then there was the bed; a platform that protruded into the sleeping area, which must have been a problem before because a night-light was in the wall at the foot of the bed. So, when you turned off the lights, the night light went on...right in your face. The heat and a/c were in a wall-mounted unit, not controlled by a thermostat; noisy and inefficient. When i left the next morning, the same person was on duty. Luckily, we did not have to interact. The van back to the airport was, if anything, worse than the night before. I went to a Hampton Inn the next night and cancelled my next reservation at this Best Western. I would not stay here again.
An average hotel with much more about the shuttle services. And there were other guests waiting for their check procedures. I would rather stay in some other location which has more organised hotel shuttle services and customer care support etc
Room was very clean and the staff who arranged my ride to the airport was great. I left my car there while I traveled to Denver and found it in the same shape as I left it. Return from the airport was fast and reliable.
Everyone was so friendly and attentive at all hours of the day/night. I had the red eye and checked in at 6 am, greeted with a smile. Then I got home late and had help form the evening worker. The room was large and clean, my allergies didn't act up at all from dust or AC/heater. I also, appreciate that their shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion is all more eco friendly by using a wall dispenser system rather than a wasteful bottles. The only minor complaint I would mention is that the hair dryer is a total fire hazard, there was no screen on the back and my hair burned behind it. Typical with older dryers but it should be replace with on that has a screen. People could get worse materials caught in the back that are more flammable- like a towel.
Stay in Best Western the best. Very close to the DWF airport and very convenient. Breakfast is always at it best at Best Western. Front office staff is very courteous. Totally enjoyed and will come back and stay very soon.
They cancelled our second leg of our flight so we stayed at the BW+. Unbelievably nice for being stuck in DFW/Irving. The breakfast was fantastic. They serve scrambled or hard boiled eggs, little smokies, sausage, oatmeal, yogurt with all sorts of toppings, waffles, a coffee-cappuccino-latte machine, orange juice, sparkling water. The staff(Blanca, Karyn and others) are extremely friendly and helpful. We were able to get a late checkout and shuttle service to the airport. The room was extremely nice. Our bags are stuck at the airport so it was a nice surprise to find shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner(usually taken for granted when you bring your own). Their is a desk, sitting area and a very comfortable bed. Gas station and Whataburger a short walk away. Will stay here again if we come this way again.
It's a shame I missed my flight and had to stay overnight. Front desk folks I didnt want to be there, no more than you wanted me there..next time tell ppl who use the shuttle let them know that they have to sign up and give times.. work on those customer skills.
Second time at the hotel and came back because first experience was great. Staff was gracious enough to let me check in early because i had an earlier flight and really do appreciate that kindness. Breakfast options were good and room very pleasnt
Wow! What a great find and a great value! We had a last minute layover in Dallas and decided to stay here at 10pm at night. We were able to catch the complimentary shuttle from the airport which didn't take long. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helped us get the correct room for us and our kids. The rooms were big and the beds were comfy! There was a good breakfast in the morning with a lot of options. My son loved the Texas shaped waffles. Again, the staff did a great job and were very friendly throughout our visit!
Everything from check-in to checkout was friendly and smooth. Rooms large, clean and immaculate. Coffee making facilities were provided and even a microwave under the TV (although we didn't get to use it). My only gripe is that the Aircon was a tad noisy but we were only staying the one night and it was fine. Breakfast was great and shuttle to airport was efficient. Would stay again.
Clean, nice, safe. Rooms are spacious, even for a family of four. Karyn and Lupe (served breakfast) were friendly and kind. They kept the breakfast clean and fully stocked. The cinnamon waffles shaped like Texas were delicious. They provide fresh juices, enchanced waters, and a variety of coffees and cappuccinos. Very nice experience. A great place to stay after or before a long flight. Great rates.
We enjoyed our stay here. It was comfortable, clean, and well-priced. The staff were very friendly. They answered my questions over the phone before booking. The hotel was decorated very well for Christmas!
The hotel was very nice, but what made it so nice was the great staff. Fast, efficient, friendly check in.The breakfast was great,,,,,real eggs. The bed and room was very comfortable. Restaraunts were close by.
The hotel had a great location near the airport. It is close to Grapevine Mills Mall and several yummy restaurants. The young man at the desk when we checked in was wonderful. The pool looked nice but it was too cold to go out and enjoy it.
The front desk attendant(s) were very friendly when checking in. The room (two regular beds, foldout sofa) fit our family perfectly, and the breakfast staff was absolutely fantastic. Lupe and Karen really went out of their way to make you feel at home and the food was as good as any continental breakfast we've had for "free" at any hotel we've been to. We will definitely stay here again when we're close to DFW!
This was a great place to stay from the rooms to the breakfast. Great service and very clean relaxing rooms. Would definitely stay again. It is also near the airport which was very convenient for us .
I stayed here for the kick off of Toyotathon and I was so pleased with the staff and the hotel. I only stay at Best Westerns and all the building are super nice, but the staff here go above and beyond. They were very friendly, warm and welcoming. After a hard day at work a smile is so refreshing!!!!
Stayed here for one night before flying out of DFW with my husband and one year old.The room was clean and spacious and the bed was comfortable. There was some flight noise but nothing to keep you up at night. Free breakfast was fairly generous and included cereal, oats, eggs, ham, sausage, muffins, toast, yoghurt and and waffles. Overall pleasent stay.
Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff there were were friendly and helpful. Karyn and Lupe in the breakfast room were amazing!!! They put out a great breakfast and went around talking to the guests and making sure there every need was met. I would definitely stay here again when I visit Texas.
My Flight to Tulsa from SFO got cancelled and hence had to take a break at DFW. Chose this Best Western Plus pretty closeby to the airport. Room was fairly good in size but had a strange MUSTY Odour all through the night. The breakfast was good though and they have a shuttle bus to drop offat the airport which winds its way through other hotels I guess it is OK for a quick brief stay
We always find a Best Western near us because we know that we will find great service, helpful employees and amazing breakfast. Our room was huge, and was very well taken care of. Housekeeping was excellent, and took the extra step for many little details. Good variety for breakfast, but keep an open mind that it is not home cooking. Our favorite was being able to watch the planes land and depart right outside our window at the airport.
The check in and check out were easy and our room was very nice. What stands out at this hotel are the people! Karyn and Lupe are wonderful! It felt like Karyn welcomed us into her home and talked to us like we had been friends for decades. Lupe made awesome Real scrambled eggs and they had a nice selection of toppings for the cooked and ready to eat oatmeal. The waffles were the shape of Texas so that was a fun element. That was the best breakfast of our week and a half trip. Keep up the great work!
I was SUPER surprised and very pleased with this hotel. It had clean rooms, great staffing, good food and very quiet! I stayed one niaght coming and going and had no problems at all. Airport shuttle can be a wee bit tricky if you don't know the DFW airport but otherwise a SUPER find. I will stay here again when passing through next year! What a relief!!
We stayed here while on our first trip to Dallas. Even though it's near the airport you would never know. No airport traffic noise. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean and rooms were great. Only complaint I have is that the breakfast was just so so. Would of preferred real bacon instead of turkey bacon and sometimes the eggs weren't great. Other than that the ladies working in the breakfast area were super nice. Would definitely stay again!!
Kandesha (I could be saying that completely wrong. She works in the afternoon time), Rai at night, and a gentleman whose name I did not catch during the day time. The were all excellent front desk staff. I didn't meet with to many other staff but I am sure they are all great as well. The property is very well kept. Would definitely stay again
Staff was nice, rooms clean and current. Breakfast only ok. A reasonable price. Easy to get there from airport...$14 Uber ride. Some airport traffic throughout the night, but fairly quiet. No place to grab a beer at the end of the day.
There was a weird smell in the room, found a couple of crumbs in the bed. The lady at the front wasnt too friendly. I asked for clean towels and she told me to go find a housekeeping person. The breakfast is the only reason I'm giving them 4 stars. It was awesone and the ladies in charge make you feel welcomed
I've been staying here for 8 years when flying out of DFW.. The large room keeps us from bumping into each other as in some other hotels. The staff is always wonderful and the rooms are great.and amenities are always appreciated.
We stayed at the Best Western at DFW. The location was close to the airport. The Hotel was clean and the staff were very nice. The breakfast was great and the two ladies working the breakfast buffet were wonderful. We are Best Western rewards members so I googled Best Western DFW. I called the number and it was a 3rd party vendor. We booked the room and were told we didn't get our reward points because it wasn't booked through the hotel but we were given two drinks and snacks. I learned that the 3rd party vendors are Listed as the hotels. Great stay and would stay there again.
We stayed overnight here on August 3rd. The hotel is close to the airport, the price was reasonable, check-in was easy and the breakfast was good. The woman who worked in breakfast room (Karen?) was lovely - very friendly. So - why a poor rating? There is really nowhere near the hotel to get a decent meal so we asked the front desk to order us a taxi so we could go out for dinner. The taxi driver charged us $24 for a 10 minute trip. He had no meter - maybe an uber? The restaurant called a yellow cab for us for the return trip and it cost $14. Realizing we were scammed - I informed the front desk - Brenda - and she maintained that she had called a yellow cab and didn't know what had happened! She was obviously lying....left a very bitter taste in our mouths.
My flight was delayed and i got into the airport at 1:30 am. I reserved a room for the night online and when i called to confirm, they said check in time was 3pm. I told them i would be gone by then to my next destination and to cancel my reservation. I called the rental company to help get my money back so they called hotel which told them they would have to wait until the manager arrived in the morning. When I called to find out what happened, the company said the manager wouldnt refund my money. Very disappointing that they care about $100 more than their customer service.
The rooms were very nice and roomy. May need a little bit of an upgrade, but I did not mind it. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel was quiet during the night...no noise to wake you up. Very close to the airport which made it nice to catch an early flight. I did not take the shuttle because it was noted it might take a half an hour because they stop at several hotels to pick up others. Just took an Uber. I would definitely stay here again!
The hotel was very nice, staff was very pleasant, breakfast was great and I enjoyed the exercise facilities while we were there. We visited historical Grapevine and enjoyed it very much. Great stroll down Main Street. Would definitely go back there.
Went here on business and enjoyed the calm and quiet area that the hotel is in. A little noise because I was near the entrance to the hotel, but nothing compared to normal. The receptionists were extrememly nice and went out of their way to give me breakfast before it was open since I had to leave early and catch a flight.
The entire staff was super friendly (especially Karyn at breakfast) and the breakfast was delicious. I've never been somewhere that had such a great helper for the continental breakfast. She was always there to help and socialize
This is an excellent hotel, especially if you have an airport arrival or departure from DFW airport. Very nice staff and clean room, good bed, great breakfast. You won't be disappointed. Definitely recommend staying here.
After a missed flight connection we arrived at the hotel at 1am. The hotel was just fine, but what made it were the staff. Receptionists and the breakfast/catering staff simply couldn't do enough for us. Perhaps the nicest group I've come across at any hotel in the recent past. Wonderful.
I needed a quick hotel close to DFW, and this was it and the price was right. Check in was simple and all the staff were very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good. I found the little gym clean and easy to use. The staff at the front desk were so helpful and kind.
My husband and I stayed at the Best Western Plus DFW a couple of nights ago. I must say this was probably the best hotel stay I've ever had. Shuttle service from/to the airport, courteous and quick check-in service (arrived at 10:00 p.m.), the bed was SO comfortable and the pillows... well the pillows were so soft and fluffy, the room was clean and comfortable... then there's the breakfast room. A very pleasant, helpful and kind lady welcomed us and showed us where everything was located in the breakfast room and the food was Great! Lastly, checkout was a snap. The lady that checked us out of the hotel had a wonderful personality, asked if everything was ok and if they had met our expectations. I would return to this hotel if in the DFW area. Highly Recommended!!!
I was visiting Dallas and needed an inexpensive place to stay near the airport. This was very close and the price was right. Check in was easy, and the room was even larger than pictured with a very comfortable bed, and a living room area. The only small issue was that someone was smoking in the room next door (in a non-smoking room) and I could smell it through the bathroom vent. This shouldn't be a problem for future guests as it was a non-smoking floor and someone was just breaking the rules. The best part of my stay was breakfast when a WONDERFUL employee named Karen greeted me with a big smile and pointed out all the yummy things available for breakfast. She took the time to show me how to work the coffee machine, how to make a waffle, asked how my morning was going, and let me know she was there if I needed anything. She had better customer service than many 5 star restaurants I've been to. She treated every guest this way. I'm from Los Angeles and I've heard about Southern hospitality, but Karen exemplified it 100 percent. Lupe, the person cooking all the yummy food, was also wonderful, as she smiled at all the guests even though she was busy cooking breakfast. The front desk staff was terrific too. I would definitely come back here again.
Rooms were clean but the pool wasn't. So hot out and they closed the pool at 10.Not many chairs to sit around the pool and it was 100 degrees out. Breakfast was very good. They had a van that would take you within a mile kind a half of the hotel or to the airport. Great staff. Obviously it's an airport hotel so noisy outside by the pool but never really noticed it much once inside the room.if you want you can pick a room that you park outside.
Stayed for one night. Front desk staff are very pleasant and helpful. Rooms are good size and very clean. I was on the third floor, and slept like a rock because it was so quiet. Breakfast was great with a good selection of hot and cold foods. My only negative with this hotel is the shared airport van. The hotel is maybe 5 miles or less, but because of all the stops at other hotels, it took 35 minutes from the time I hopped on the shuttle to get to terminal E at DFW. It's not necessarily terrible, just wish this hotel had its own dedicated airport shuttle. Overall, very good stay.
I don't typically stay at Best Western, but I'm so glad I did! The shuttle driver, Teboni, was courteous, professional, and accommodating. Because of her service, I recommend you make this your Dallas airport hotel! Great service is what customers appreciate most!!
This place is a dump - the people at front desk don't care and parking is non existent! If you want a headache stay here otherwise find a box and sleep on the side of the highway - it will be easier and nicer! Look elsewhere! You've been warned!
Affordable large chain hotel which offers all the amenities of a higher priced chain. Offers free wifi, free breakfast buffet, all bathroom amenities (shower gel, hair shampoo and conditioner, soap, hair blower, shower cap) nice bed and pillows, mini refrigerator, microwave, free pickup to and from airport. Room bathroom were extremely clean, no mold in shower or curtain. We had a room with a king size bed which had a separate area with a sofa and desk (larger than expected room). They offer senior rates so ask for it. Staff in restaurant was extremely hospitable as was checkin clerk. It has a small pool in the back also. The only negative was that we did hear airplane noise as late as 11:30 pm and as early as 4:30 am since it was near the airport. Despite this, we would definitely use this chain and hotel again.
We had no problems, and we even checked in late. We enjoyed our stay and the rooms were very comfortable. Breakfast had a pretty good selection of items to pick from. The hotel was very clean and nice, and we would probably stay again when in that area.
Stayed during a convention, was recommended and worth it. Very nice pool area but a but noisy on the back end due to the airport great place to spend a repeat visit. Hotel is close to shell station and Denny 's a couple miles from DFW airport.
My friend and I missed our connecting flight due to weather and had to quickly find a hotel in DFW area. We certainly lucked out choosing this property; 2 miles from the airport, affordable, clean and lots of amenities, including them giving me a complimentary toothbrush and paste that was in my checked baggage. (the airlines did not even offer that!). The beds were comfortable, breakfast was nice (real scrambled eggs!) and we very much appreciated having a free shuttle (the airline suggested a hotel 12 miles away with none). Considering we were so close to the airport, we did not hear air traffic. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Brand new sofas were being delivered to all the rooms when we checked out and they looked lovely. Recommend!
We needed one night in a hotel near DFW. We have had good success with Best Western facilities for quick one night stays, and this location worked perfectly for this. Check in was easy and smooth, and a special shout out to the person who checked us in - Roberta I think? - who was infectiously happy and gave us an infusion of enthusiasm on what had been a difficult day. The room was clean and very spacious. We didn't need space to do much but sleep, but if we had needed it it was available. I appreciated the desk being fully set for charging my various devices, something I didn't get from the much more expensive hotel I had stayed in two nights before. We left too early for breakfast, but a shoutout to the person setting it up, who was very generous and helped us out before it officially opened.
I came to Dallas for a short trip to visit friends in flight attendant training. Brenda was very helpful in arranging my shuttle to the hotel from the airport. The hotel is located near a gas station and whataburger that is walking distance. I stayed in a King suite and it was spacious and clean. I was very impressed. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Stayed here when I missed my flight connection. It was good enough for that but I wouldn't chose it otherwise. It was clean but very dingy and older. It's due for a remodel. Their shuttle is shared with other hotels so you have to plan the trip to be at least 20-30 minutes. I took an Uber; it was much faster and cost about $10. Also, if you need supplies (all mine were in my luggage), except for a toothbrush, you will have to purchase them. Staff were friendly and helpful!
For those whom are catching an early morning flight at DFW, this is the place to stay! The 4:00 am shuttle got us promptly to the airport, but prior to that upon check in, my daughter and I made the most of the hotel's fitness center, outdoor pool, hot tub, and easy access to food and beverages (including alcohol if that's your pleasure) by taking an easy stroll around the corner. Multiple restaurants are also easily accessed.
The staff were wonderful The only thing was I had difficulty sleeping which I usually have when I am away from home. Everything and everyone was very nice. Didn't get a chance to use the pool but next time will looked very inviting
I spend a weekend at this Hotel due to a planned family get away vacation. This Hotel is clean and nice. Because is so close to the airport sometime the airplanes noise while they are taking off is very notable. The staff very friendly and professional. The Hotel is close to a lot of attractions and the price to stay is reasonable. I will recommend this hotel if you visit the Grapevine area.
Excellent Hotel. Rapid fast check in by excellent staff. Great location. Close to DFW, not far from Dallas Love Field. Close to gas station, close to freeway. Only 20 miles from Texas Motor Speedway. Love the sitting area separate from the sleeping area. Overall a great stay!
Thank you for setting me up a room at a decent price in record time! Also for a quick airport pick up and sorting out my taxi the following day. The staff are polite and accommodating- the rooms a good size and clean. It was a relief to be met with such good customer service after a long and stressful journey. Would recommend if you need a layover near the airport!
Though this is hardly a ritzy place, it is more than adequate for the leisure or business traveler on a budget - or who would rather spend their money on things other than a place to sleep. The bed was comfy, bathroom clean, towels plentiful. There is a big-screen TV with cable, so you won't be bored. Low-cost motels are always a gamble. It's hard to find a low rate without finding old, worn, or less than first-rate accommodations. But DFW Best Western Suites manages to give you good value for the money and a room that you can feel good about. The front desk help was friendly, the location is SUPER convenient (we had a crack-o-dawn departure and spent the night before here) - it's only about 5 minutes from DFW. We would return!
Hotel is close to airport and freeways so close to places we needed to go. We had a little trouble trying to find how to get to hotel for arrival, but after we had checked in, future returns were not too bad. The room was nice, but it had a very small bathroom for 2 people trying to share the bathroom. The breakfast was a bit disappointing, not because of the selection but because the oatmeal that we chose was supposed to be hot and it wasn't.
Stayed there for a night as I have another fkight to catch in next day. Overall, there is some good and bad. Pro The check in was smooth, the front desk was friendly, the room was extremely spacious, the sound proof was not bad. Con The airport shuttle from airport to hotel is the major problem. You may found yourself wait for 40mins and the shuttle still yet to arrive. But the shuttle from hotel to airport is fine. The building experiences power outage during the night I stayed. Since I had jetlag, I decided just go for sleep straight away, so it does not bother me. Other note Be at least 15mins before the shuttle arrival time at the hotel.
Very close to airport. Everything seemed updated and in good shape. Granite counters, big rooms with sofa, good breakfast, good price, quiet, clean, what more can you want! Has shuttle to airport. Will be back.
Very clean property with helpful staff. The shuttle was fast and very convenient for transportation to and from the airport. The rooms were spacious and clean. I wish we could have stayed longer, but it was short as we were between flights.
I have stayed here 3 times before a very early flight out of DFW. The staff is excellent. Blanca was fantastic this time. She had 2 or 3 lines ringing and people at the counter and provided excellent customer service. Really appreciate the convenience of this location.
Our stat best western was very good. The rooms are very spacious. We were group of 4 families with kids. The bed quality and breakfast was very good Can't ask for more for the money we paid. Good deal and value to money
I love this hotel the stay was amazing and a very clean environment. Even the front desk staff was really nice and made sure everything was on point before I got to my room. Will be staying there again really soon.
Airport shuttle communication was severely lacking. Apparently they share shuttle service with multiple hotels. I waited over an hour and a half and ended up taking a Lyft after poor communication with the hotel staff.
We stayed at a King size bed. It was clean and nice. There are enough parking spots(some hotels near the airport do not have enough parking spots because they rent their spots) so overall nice stay. I compared with 6 other hotels, and it was the best price.
The Best Western Plus DFW Airport Suites hotel is one of the very best hotels I have stayed in. The staff is extremely accommodating, very professional and very courteous. I highly recommend this Best Western hotel when staying in this area.
Nice staff, comfortable bed, no restaurant and far from non-fast food restaurants. Shuttle service not dedicated and took extra time waiting on arrival. Breakfast more than the usual fare of dried eggs reconstituted.
Avoid making a reservation. This hotel does not allow cancellation or changes in reservations even weeks in advance of a stay. Business travelers need to be able to adjust trip schedules. Hotels should allow partial rebate or full credit for paid reservations noticed to them well in advance. Terrible treatment for a hotel selling convenience to a very major airport. Lotsa better choices - book at your own peril.
At 5 minute by taxi from aerport. I get a room number 110 .There is a fan just outside the window and you can ear the smooth noise all the night. At reception very very friendly and avaible. In the room you have a moquette and you have enought space. Is close to the airport and you can ear the aircraft noise..... The breakfast is good. You can request at reception a shuttle service from/to airport .......it makes a pick-up service for few hotel in the same area and take around half an hour for arrive to aerport.
I was on a business trip and booked this hotel for 2 nights. Wrong decision! I couldn't sleep well, because of the traffic/highway noises. The windows are not good isolated, you hear everything and you can feel the cold air from out.
I was in that hotel since it was close to the airport. It is very basic, but the room was clean and the WIFI was good. The breakfast was really basic, with mostly machine for every service. There is a free shuttle to the airport every 20 minutes or so.
During an overnight stay at the Best Western, DFW prior to an early morning flight we utilized this hotel. Staff member on duty Sunday night at check in and the person on duty Monday morning were pleasant, helpful and professional. Complimentary breakfast was exceptional and attendant pleasant and kept thing very neat and all servings readily available.
Loved my stay! Didn't have not 1 problem! The price was amazing for how updated and clean it was! Also love the free breakfast! My favorite part was the shampoo, conditioner, body gel, and body lotion dispensers on the walls! Way better than those little bottles! The whole staff was also very friendly! Will definitely return here!
We really like this hotel, I stayed one night when I was traveling to another country and i was between airports. I love to be able to enjoy outside pool and jacuzzi before continue traveling. My only critique is that the shuttle from the airport took at least 45 minutes to pick up us. In general super confortable
Good value at this Best Western, convenient shuttle service from DFW airport, proximity close-by. Hotel seemed a little tired re it's decor, interior could be brightened up! Exterior of hotel clean but lacked vibrancy. Hotel was very clean and staff friendly and courteous. Breakfast provided was more than adequate.
The staff was great as expected for a BW, but when your expecting a PLUS location my mind already expects a BETTER hotel, bigger rooms, large bathrooms, soft towels, oversize pillows, better food..... etc. NOPE. This is a old hotel, small rooms, bed against the A.C. unit blowing on your feet, tiny flat pillows, dirty filter, scratchy towels, crooked floors, noisy elevator, hair dryer switch didn't work and room had a weird smell. I left at 4am to airport but wife and kid stayed till 11am, and she chose to leave and gonto another hotel because of these reasons and the fact it has a outdoor pool and water was 69 degrees.... she said breakfast was good and staff really nice but this IS NOT PLUS quality. I stayed over 110 nights in a BW THIS YEAR already and would NOT stay here at this price again... BTW it cost me 10,000 points. Again.. MABY a regular BW price would be ok but honestly i dont think it should be a BW at all....
Hadn't planned to stay in the area, but due to a change in plans needed a room for one night with shuttle service to the airport. I was pleasantly surprised with the layout of the room; seemed very clean overall. Due to the proximity to the airport, highway(s), and railroad, there was, not surprisingly, some noise through the night. Since I tend to be a light sleeper, I always bring foam ear plugs when traveling for just this situation, so no problem. Breakfast was more than adequate, and the few staff members I interacted with were friendly. The shuttle service to the airport was shared with several other hotels, so it was necessary to sign up in advance for a seat; most other places I've stayed at had their own shuttle, and a more flexible ride scheduling system. My only disapointment was not having a restaurant (other than a burger place) within walking distance (didn't have a car for this trip), but all the other hotels in the area had the same issue.
Stayed here on a short 10 hour layover, and the room was so comfy I kind of wished I had time to spend a whole evening here. The suites are spacious with a mini living area to flake out in front of the TV, and the beds are very comfortable. The free wifi was fast and functional. The hotel doesn't have its own shuttle. It's shared with a bunch of other hotels in the area. You have to call the front desk from the airport for a pickup, otherwise it may not come by unless someone else has requested it. Mine was the first drop so it was a short 5-10 minute shuttle ride, but for return trips to the airport you can expect multiple stops en route so plan for up to half an hour. Shuttles leave regularly every half hour, and there's a sign up sheet in the lobby so you'll know in advance whether or not it's full. Will stay here again if I have an overnight connection in DFW
The hotel and the room had a moldly musty smell. We had to buy a can of Febreze just to sleep. The bed linens were stained, the carpet looked like it hadn't been vacuuumed in days. The Spanish speaking staff was talking about the guests unaware that some of us speak Spanish
Checked in late, around 8:45p after driving from Austin after F1 race. Quick & easy check-in. Nice lobby; restaurant closed. Ground floor room: 2 queen beds, sitting area with pull-out sofa; fridge. Airport shuttle sign-up sheet at front desk. Clean & quiet room; walked to "Whataburger" for dinner; about 200 yards away. Inside a Shell station. Highly recommended hotel: clean, quiet, huge rooms.
This hotel is on a feeder road for the freeway, and the road is undergoing major construction. My family lives in the area, but I needed an accessible room for my elderly mother. I was so happy with this hotel, and selected it for two reasons: proximity to my family, and reviews on TripAdvisor. The parking lot is well-lit, the lobby and breakfast area appeared to be spotless-clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The accessible room on the first floor was very well appointed (though the bed was difficult for my 86-year-old mother to climb into) with coffee maker, microwave, and fridge. There is a seating area next to the bed area, and the bathroom was easily accessible. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and will stay here again if I need to. (By the way, I didn't need to eat breakfast there, but they had a very nice assortment of hot and cold breakfast items.)
The room was large and clean. Breakfast service was clean and with good food quality and choices. But the best part of the stay was the very helpful and pleasant receptionist (Brenda). It was so refreshing to have someone like her to interface with from the time we arrived at the airport until we checked out.
We were but reserved a Room for a Friday night and check out on a Saturday then I realized I booked the wrong night and they were able to change my nights for free. We were pleasantly surprised when we walked into our room and saw how nice it was for the price that we had paid. We did take addvantage of the hot tub and watched the planes fly by.
Our room on the 2nd flr. was perfect. Very clean and large. Bathroom was spotless. Overall the hotels was well maintained. The complimentary breakfast was the best I ever had for free. Excellent hotel for the value.
Outstanding service. Breakfast has options to fit most taste. Employees will go the extra mile for you. Free parking o. Site. Coffee is available any time shuttle service available from hotel to airport.
well maintained and very professional staff! not happy with Travelocity for not separating my rental car and room expenses. can't submit expense report without the breakdown...I'm out $650.00 I sure won't do that again....UGH
We stayed here for one night after a long haul direct flight from Australia. They have courtesy shuttles to and from the airport, reasonable breakfast, clean room, comfy bed, good shower. All in all, no real concerns for a one nighter.
They have a great staff that help you with answering your questions. The breakfast staff are very friendly too. The rooms are very nice and have all the supplies needed for a hotel. The hotel transportation to the airport was very helpful.
Don't hesitate to book this place. If you need something close to the airport and want good value, the price is right, the rooms are clean, the bed is comfortable, the breakfast is satisfactory, and the airport shuttle is free. It is a shared ride so it may take a bit to arrive or deliver you to the hotel, but for the price (no cost, included in hotel stay), it's a superb deal.
I travel for work and am often in hotels. In the past couple of years, Best Western is always the best choice for quality and price point. Stayed at this hotel so family was close to DFW for a very early flight. We were so impressed with this hotel, we have already made a reservation for this specific hotel for a trip to Dallas in early November.
Room was extremely humid. Asked for someone to fix a/c three times. Maintenance finally attempted to fix the a/c and room humidity the third day of staying there, to no avail. I asked to switch rooms because of this, and was told it couldn't be done because there was a "full house"...at 10 am the second day of my stay. And again, was told the same thing on the next day, when I asked to move again because of the air conditioning/humidity problem. The service (housekeeping/breakfast) was great and the room and bathroom was clean, but I was totally disappointed with the way the a/c situation was handled. If I knew nothing was going to be done about it, I would have cancelled my reservation and moved hotels after the first night. I was in the area for a wedding, and it was extremely uncomfortable having to get ready for a formal wedding and several other events in a humid/freezing cold room, especially since there was no exhaust fan to rid the bathrooom of the humidity after a shower. It just contributed to the overall ridiculously high humidity in the room. I'm originally from FL, so I understand the humidity outside, but it should not feel that way in an air conditioned room with an air conditioner that works properly. My clothes were always damp. I had to lay the out as far away from the air conditioner as possible to get them to "dry out" every day. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, and definitely won't be staying here again.
I had a layover due to a delayed flight so I need an inexpensive place to crash for a night. I found this hotel and booked a room. The only problem is airport transport as it is shared with other hotels; luckily this one stopped first. It wasn't without a long, long wait. Hotel staff was nice and room was larger than needed. Not much in area for eats but there is a quick stop and burger chain close. Also have deliver services. So you won't go hungry. Overall nice surprise.
Our plane was getting in so we had to spend the night in Dallas and chose this Best Western because we're Diamond members. The shuttle was a little slow in picking us up at DFW but the morning shuttle was on time. The check in was great, didn't take long at all. The rooms are very nice and quiet, everything was clean. The breakfast was excellent as was the staff serving it. We will be staying here again.
Great place for a short getaway, friendly staff and clean rooms not to mention very spacious. Would recommend to anyone coming out to atY in grapevine on a last minute shopping getaway. Short distance from shopping, food and Main Street in grapevine!
I had an excellent service experience at Best Western mainly due to the shuttle driver Narvel. I travel to Dallas often and I definitely will rebook with the Best Western based on his excellent customer service and the front desk excellent customer service
I have never had any problems with bsetwestern as many times as I have stayed with them , but with other hotels and motels I have had problems I wont talk about here.I have stayed at least 30 times with bestwestern in the past 1 1/2 years and I am a platinum member.
This was a very nice hotel. Me and my wife stayed here and had to go to the airport to pick up some friends early in the morning. This hotel has a great location. It is very close to the airport while also being close to Grapevine and all the activities that it holds. For the price you can't beat it. We would definitely stay here again!
My room was very comfortable and clean. Front desk staff were friendly and efficient. The free breakfast was quite good, better than I have had at many other hotels. I arrived in the evening and stayed only one night, so I did not get a chance to try some of the other amenities like the outdoor pool, a workout room, or the airport shuttle. It is close to DFW, only a 12-minute drive to the Rental Car Center. Overall, a good choice if you're looking for something near the airport.
The Suite was exactly as shown on the website and was clean. Our stay at Best Western Plus meet our expectations. No disappointment. They had a variety of breakfast items. The waffles were my choice along with some yogurt.
We were checked in early and ran a few errands, came back and room was ready for us. The breakfast was one of the best I have had in any hotel. Staff was awesome! The pool and hot tub looked great and were one of the reasons I picked this hotel, but never got to use them unfortunately.
Great hotel! Staff was friendly and helpful, you really felt welcomed and valued. Hotel was super clean, everything was in good order. Breakfast was great, food was fresh and selection was large. We will certainly stay here again next time we are in the area.
perfectly located near by the airport. Spacious room with fast wifi. The staff is helpful and smiling. I also forgot my phone charger and the staff recover it and kept it for me so I can get it back ! Truly a great experience overall. I will definitely. Thanks BW Team !
It was the 2nd attempt to make a connecting flight from Minnesota to Texas and then home to Arizona. We had to stay in Minnesota an extra day because our flight was late and would not make the ONLY connecting flight at 11:22PM in Texas to Arizona. Guess what... We changed the flight to the next day and STILL did not make the connecting flight. Our airline did not offer anything other than tickets on the next flight 24 HOURS later. It is now midnight! 3 out of 4 of the airline employees mentioned that they needed to go home and could not help us. We have to find a hotel for some sleep because we're gonna be at the airport awhile the next day. We first see Hyatt - $240 a night. Then I see a Best western can pick some people up. I call right away. Mayra had a room for us! She was totally awesome and polite while we were distraught. The hotel is nice. Almost half the cost! With a free ride back to the airport! A 24 hour Whataburger is not even a block away. Blanca called us a ride to the airport the next day. Thank you for helping us. Spirit Airlines was a total bust.
Clean and comfy, breakfast is so refreshing. 15min drive from DFW airport, very suitable spot when traveling for business or for leisure. There's also an outdoor swimming pool out front my window, you will not want to miss out a relaxing sun bath in the afternoon. I will surely make the same choice if I revisit Dallas.
My husband and I are business owners and travel frequently, recently with all our children. We always without a thought stay at this particular Best Western when traveling the DFW area. Brenda the property manager is the most attentive employee at any of the Best Western's or any other hotel that we have stayed in for that matter. we have utilized the laundry facilities even when the dryer was broken, Brenda was there to help us out and make sure our laundry was dried and ready for us the next day. The pool and spa were also great. Breakfast is always nice and fresh enough to satisfy all guests, kitchen staff was also very kind and helpful to the families that needed a hand with their small children. Housekeeping always makes sure to ask if anything is needed on a daily basis, nice when your always on the go and forget to remove your DND sign. All in all this property has a great group of people working to keep this a place as comfortable as possible for its guests. We will be back! Mrs. Barrera
We have stayed here before early flights at DFW. The shuttle takes you to your terminal and the parking fee at the hotel is minimal. Only complaint is that the vans are hard to identify as the one shared by the surrounding hotel chains and don't run as often as many of the other hotel chains
My room was on the 1st floor, 2 doors from the conference room. The breakfast was good. The staff was very polite very helpful. The room was clean and a nice set up with the deck and couch and chairs. the overall appearance was welcoming.
The Best Western Airport Suites is a great location and superior property at DFW airport. In spite of the proximity to the airport it is surprisingly quiet. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The breakfast is great and it only takes minutes to get to the terminal.
The men and women at this hotel make every effort to make your stay an enjoyable one! We stayed for 5 days as we were in town for a family wedding. The service we received from ALL the staff was friendly, considerate and helpful. The hotel is spotless and I am a bit of a clean freak. No matter what other guests did to the pool area the night before (some people are just nasty) the staff had it cleaned and ready for business at first light. Our room was maintained wonderfully as well. My husband and I travel quite a bit and as Best Western reward members we give this hotel our best rating yet!
Very nice place to stay. Clean and up to date with style. Pool and spa was very enjoyable. The bed was soft and very comfortable. Would like to have more than just 2 towels since we used ours at the pool then had to dry off with them when we showered.
Stayed just one night, while visiting Six Flags over Texas. The hotel was clean and staff was friendly and professional. The only negative is that the bed was a bit hard and the sofa bed was quite uncomfortable, the mattress was lumpy at the creases. I was glad that it wasn't me who was sleeping on it. Other than that, a good place to stay. Did not check out the breakfast as we didn't get up early enough and then raced out the door to go back to the amusement park.
great location and staff was excellent. property was very well maintained and extremely clean. proximity to local businesses and restaurant were near by and very reasonable. the decor of the rooms was very soothing. the beds are very comfortable.
Stayed at this BW Hotel and thoroughly enjoyed it. Very Clean, Quiet and the people were very nice. The breakfast was warm and everything was very clean. I have stayed at this hotel before wand will definitely will stay again...
Large rooms, clean facility, Price was only about $81 a night with breakfast. The location is off 114 which is Not a Toll road and rarely backed up. This makes it easy to get to the Airport or must other places in Metroplex. Pool area is especially nice.
Overall service & cleanliness very good, not close enough to downtown Dallas, if you are using public transportation. Front desk person was very helpful in relocating me to a closer hotel. She display professionalism, excellent customer service and demeanor while performing her assistance.
Flying back home,so,stayed at this hotel service for our flight was excellent. Breakfast was excellent. The pool was, awesome also. Thanks for the wonderful accomedations. I would highly recommend this, place to anyone
Excellent hotel with a large comfortable suite and nice amenities. Would definitely recommend this hotel for not only one night but the size of the room and amenities make it desirable for a lengthy stay if necessary.
The front Desk Ladies are extremely nice and accommodating. Breakfast is very good with a great coffee maker (latte, cappuccino etc...) waffles, eggs, fruit, and more. Rooms are very comfortable and clean.
Close to airport, halfway between Dallas and Ft. Worth, AWESOME breakfast, GREAT comfortable and well-appointed room, WONDERFUL staff and SUPER value for the money. You are literally nestled between DFW and a zippy artery of a magnificent freeway system that will have you to even the furthest reaches of the metroplex in under an hour. I made multiple trips to North Dallas communities in under 30 minutes.
My stay was nice. As a travel agent, I'm always looking for great places for my clients to stay. My motto is...if I won't stay there, I not will allow my clients to stay there as well. The GM gave me a tour of the facility and it was nice. The first thing I did when I first got to the hotel was immediately check the bathroom to see was it clean and I must say it was clean. The hotel is going through a little renovation but it still was a great place to stay. Friendly and courteous staff. Breakfast was great. I'm recommending this hotel to all my clients as well as friends and family!!!!
Good for a night before a flight or after a flight. Very centrally located to Great Wolf Lodge, Grapevine Mills Mall, Grapevine Historical Main Street, and Grapevine Lake. Very clean room and bath. Breadfast is ok. Mattress and pillows are dreadful. But, if you are only staying a night or two, you can probably deal with it.
Overall everything was great. The room was spacious and very clean. Lotion, shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers in the bathroom are handy. The staff was courteous. Breakfast was better than many other hotels with healthy options (turkey sausage and yogurt with toppings). There were some WiFi connectivity issues during our one night stay, but this wasn't a big problem for us.
Stayed one night before flying out checked in early. Room was clean & comfortable. Had trouble sleeping due to the noise from the airport as I am not used to it so I got up early & just missed the 2:05am shuttle. Took the 3:25am shuttle to the air port. Be aware the driver's work for tips. Was a great way to get to DFW early for my flight. The staff was great. I checked in about 20 minutes early & they provided the times a of shuttles the next morning. Overall I would stay again when flying out early, but I'll pack earplugs!
From the add it said there was free parking. So I rented the room and they informed me after I paid the week parking was not free. The shuttle to DFW was good. A full bus but a pleasant driver. The way back was the worst the driver packed more people into the van than there were seat. Talking on the cell phone and was overall rude! Overall assessment is you get what you pay for so spend a minimal amount more and opt for some place else. PLEASE
Standard hotel; top notch staff. 24 hour hotel shuttle starting as early as 4 am. Earlier than surrounding hotels. Room was nice, spacious. Wifi really slow- but sure if that is hotel's fault. Staff was very friendly and willing to help.
Never have I found a hotel that catered to my needs with great care. I have been a best western gold card member for quite some time. Whenever I travel I always stay in best western hotels and resorts.
Close to airport, shuttle was right there as we left terminal and we were there in 10 minutes beautiful king size bed, suite for less than 100 bucks shuttle jn the morning was likewise on time and efficient
Hotel was clean and despite very close to DFW it was surprisingly quite. Hotel staff in room daily, breakfast wasn't the greatest, food ...eggs and ham seemed out of a plastic bag microwaved, yuck! Coffee from a machine. There are other places to eat but no where around the hotel you have to get on the freeway and drive a few miles. Other than that good stay, I would stay again if I had business in that area.
If i could leave no star's I would. We stayed here on Thursday night and flew out on Friday morning we left our car here and paid the additional fee to park. The morning we left was fine but the day we came back was horrible. We called 5 times for a ride home and was given the run around every time we called. We ended having to pay for an uber to take us back to our car. RIDICULOUS I would suggest paying a few extra dollars to stay at the embassy suites! That's where we stay normally and have never had any problems
Very comfortable room. Shuttle to airport was on time. Crowded, so I'm glad I left extra time. Shuttle serves multiple hotels. Room was spacious and clean with king bed and separate sitting area. Would stay here again.
If you want a rough and lonnnng ride from DFW to the hotel on a shuttle that serves multiple hotels on same route, then this is your hotel. If not, take a taxi or go with another hotel. Took me an hour from the time I was supposed to be picked up until I got to the hotel.
Stay was good front desk not real knowledgeable. Did not feel a platinum member at all. Needed blanket and pillows for sofa bed was out had to use sheets only. I would stay there again just needs a lil more hospitality
Stayed over because we got in late from a flight good location clean and friendly! Rooms are big, bathrooms need updating but we're clean! Pillows need replaced but overall would go back it's convenient to airport
Very nice place to stay. Room was comfortable and staff very helpful and friendly. The location was very convenient for my work and to the airport. I would highly recommend this Hotel to any one who is going to Irving Texas.
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The front desk staff was exceptional, very attentive and caring. Our room was very comfortable, including the bed. We would definitely stay here again, if in the area.
I live in the DFW area had not flown out of the DFW Airport in many, many years. (I fly Southwest out of Dallas Love Field if at all possible). We had such an early flight and would have to drive 30-45 minutes to the airport. We decided the $100 for the night was worth not having to worry about traffic or finding our way at such an early morning. This was convenient, clean and has a very friendly staff.I would certainly stay again!
Really nice hotel I will definitely stay there again. Had absolutely everything in the room. Including good quality shampoo conditioner n body lotion. Free breakfast before leaving to the airport only stayed for one night but will be staying there again
I waited an hour at DFW for a shuttle. The shuttle was old, had torn seats, was dirty, and seats are way too small, and services at least 6 other hotels. And then in the morning, they only make one drop and then you have to take the SkyTrain to the correct terminal. I would not stay here again if I needed airport shuttle. Shuttle only runs every 40 minutes in the morning which means you have to go way early or risk a late arrival at the airport. Hotel itself was OK.
Very clean and nice place to stay. Helpful staff. Good breakfast and nice workout center. I choose Best Western over all motels to stay at. Security is very good for contractors to stay and work. Thanks Best Western.
Rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable. Housekeeping made sure I had what I requested. Extra water!! It is very warm in tje Dallas area and can be very cold in the winter. I layer my clothes as the meeting room can be cool as well. I prefer cool than being roo warm
When we suddenly encountered a 24-hour delay in our flights early in the morning, we phoned to see if we could arrange early check-in to stay over for a day. Unfortunately the number I called was Hotels.com and not the direct line to the hotel, but upon arrival the manager looked and found that there had been a no-show and was great in getting us into a room a few hours early (for a small extra fee). The room and bed were wonderfully comfortable to relax in after so much tension at the airport. The breakfast buffet was great. There were two computers available in the lobby which we used to print boarding passes. All of the staff members were super-friendly and helped us arrange for a free shuttle back to the airport at 3:30 am. The airport is not too far away; however keep in mind that the shuttle picks up at other hotels, too (but a taxi is $25 for a 10-minute ride)! I am sorry that I forgot the names of the staff members but they were all great, especially the night managers.
A room near the airport with free shuttle, free wifi, clean room, seattle's best coffee & bigelow green tea in room with a water bottle (free breakfast if you are still around by 7am which I will not be)... all for $88 :-) This is so much better than sleeping on a cot in DFW when your flight gets canceled due to severe spring thunder storms! I am thankful.
My Wife and I missed a flight due space limitations. We needed a hotel at 10 pm that night. Since I was a member of BW rewards we contacted the closest BW at DFW Airport Sites, Irving, Texas. We were picked up at the airport and only took 20 minutes to get to the hotel. The next day we had to stay till our flight was available and we made arrangements to leave most of our luggage at the hotel till we returned in the evening from visiting Dallas, Texas via the DART Transit system. Also the shuttle bus dropped us off at the DART station and picked us up later that evening and we return to the hotel to get our luggage and made our flight that night.
The service was great. Bookung was easy. They had my reservation on file as promised. I was driving from Colorado and came in really late so they extended my check out at no extra cost! Will stay thee again!
This is the second time we have stayed here within about a year. The staff was very courteous and friendly. Very close to DFW airport and offers free shared shuttle service. Just keep in mind it's shared and may take a bit. Very friendly drivers. Hotel was clean and comfy. Offers a limited hot breakfast.
I stayed here for two nights after turning in my car, planning to take the rail to downtown Dallas from the airport for a day. I was very happy with the place -- my room was very large, with a separate 'living room' area, the decor was nice, the king bed was very comfortable, the air conditioner wasn't loud, the t.v. was big with lots of channels, and the bathroom was fully equipped. The buffet breakfast was excellent both mornings, with plenty of items to choose from. Lobby service was very friendly and polite. I appreciated the shuttle service to/from the airport, which I used to get to my flight and to also get to the rail for downtown. However, the courtesy van was a shared one used by 4-5 hotels, so it took about 30-40 minutes to get picked up from the airport both times. Just had to have patience.
Everything about the BW Plus DFW Airport Suites is a great value. The rooms are enormous! There's a small fridge, microwave, coffee maker, iron, ironing board, everything you might need! We entertained guests in the small sitting room! The bathroom was nicely appointed and clean, and the beds were fresh and comfortable. We were able to cool and heat the room(s) comfortably. The breakfast was awesome -- everything you could possibly want! And the pool was great. I
My stay was very joyous and fulfilling. People took care of us with great smiles. The facilities were great. Breakfast service was exceptionally good. Enjoyed the food every day. Each day started with delicious breakfast served by great smiling people. Thank you.
Simple but very clean rooms. Conveniantly located not to far from the DFW international airport and close to the freeway. Parking at the hotel. Good coffee simple breakfast. 150 mtr. from a pumpstation.
The rooms were comfortable, large and come with shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower. The front desk offered us menus to order food in because we did not arrive till 8:30pm . The breakfast is a FULL breakfast, good choices, plenty of eating space and TV . There are also extra little things to buy if you need it. The shuttle was fast and he was very nice . I will stay here again when I come through DFW!!
Room is spacious and clean. Although the bed feels good for sleeping, we didn't sleep too well because of the noise outside (cars going through the John Carpenter's Highway). Wifi works really well, I was able to work from our room for half a day's worth with no issues of internet connection. Breakfast choices are decent. The bath soap, shampoo and conditioner are not what you usually see in hotels, they are not the miniature sizes; they are dispense from the dispensers which are attached on the shower wall and I think it's kind of cool. You can't take them home though, if you like to take home unused bath soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion.
Great value for the rate. Nice sized suites, very clean and roomy. In-room WiFi worked with all our appliances. Nice selection of TV channels. Breakfast area was clean and well stocked. Employee keep all food selections replenished. It was nice having the separate living area so kids could close the door when watching their TV programs or playing on computers. Location close to all areas we visited for the weekend.
Once again they delivered ,we stayed at the BW plus DFW for one night on our way to the beach ,place is friendly clean and easy to deal with, i would strongly recommend this place location is key by the way close to everything definitely stay there again
They are always helpful and go out of there way. I fly in the day before the training class take the shuttle over and when I arrive they have everything set for me the next day. If I ever have to make a change with the meeting space they are on the spot to make the change ASAP. Great folks!
Hotel clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Accommodated every need. Thank you Brenda for you assistance. The one wish was for a cocktail lounge and restaurant. We walked over to the Marriott -10 minutes away-just around the corner under the bridge. Did not hear the planes during the night. Pool was refreshing.
Checked in late. Hotel was tidy and quiet. Didn't have any difficulties removing state taxes and settling bill. Would stay at this facility next time I visit Dallas, Tx. as it is close to the DFW airport.
Great staff. Very clean and comfy room. Quiet with well lighted parking. 10 min drive to the airport. Pizza delivery to the room. What else does one need?! Gas station with store within walking distance.
Nice location , good service , building is starting to see its age in the rooms but very good value for your money. We stayed here on an overnight before heading to Mexico. The only reason why no 5 stars is no hotel bar or restaurant . However the breakfast in the morning for free was so worth they stay to make up for it
Mona at reception was excellent. I landed late in the evening on a very hot night. It was hard to know where to go to await the shuttle bus. However when I called Mona to request the shuttle bus, she was outstanding in patience and direction. She was also so very welcoming when I arrived at the hotel. No doubt she has been that to many people many times before...However you would think you were the only one she had given directions to and welcomed at the hotel. The breakfast was also amazing...Everything you could think of plus a lot more...and very well serviced.
Easy check in. Great size room. Airport shuttle and you can leave your car here while you are gone. Shuttle will pick you up when you fly back in. Parking here is cheaper than the airport and you get a free shuttle to and from. Clean rooms. Will stay again for sure.
Clean room and friendly staff. I was always greeted with a smile no matter who was sitting in the lobby. In a great location and the free breakfast and WiFi was a huge plus! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
I was here for four nights on business. The room was large and conveniently 7 mins away from the airport. The bed was comfortable and clean which is always important to me. The A/C worked and wasn't too loud as they can often be. This hotel offers free parking, the room had a fridge and microwave in it and the staff were very kind. As for restaurants Denny's or the Sheraton are close by; however, I wasn't too impressed with Sheraton's menu selection, wine list, service or the food quality. I was impressed with Kirby's steakhouse. Kirby's steakhouse offers a free shuttle service and the food was delicious. I will give it a proper review separately. As for this hotel I will stay here again.
We checked in after 6pm and got a room on the third floor which was pretty quiet. The room was clean, spacious and the staff were very accommodating. We liked the soap/shampoo/conditioner dispenser in the shower and the hand creme dispenser on the wall besides the sink! We chose this hotel because there is a no pets policy (we have extreme pet allergies) and is a smoke free facility. Although the free breakfast started at 6am, we were not able to take advantage of it as we had to leave around 5am-ish. I also liked that there is a room for guest laundry (we didn't use it). The 24 hour complimentary shuttle came in handy when my husband arrived at the airport and was able to make a reservation for a drop off at the hotel to meet us. I would totally stay here again the next time I'm in Dallas.
Easy as can be, this hotel is very conveniently located to the Dallas Fort Worth airport. There is a shuttle service available, very nice. Don't have to fight Dallas traffic if you stay here, HUGE perk. Nice amenities, good breakfast, pool and located near all sorts of things to do/eat. Price can't be beat
I stay at the Best Western DFW every time I go in and out of Dallas I find that the staff is very professional the cleanliness of the hotel the hot breakfast bar everything exceed my expectations of a motel I will continue staying everytime I'm in the Dallas-Fort Worth area
Great staff, friendly place, clean and comfortable accomodation. Easy access via 114 to DFW airport, Dallas and Ft Worth. Breakfast presentation is very nice as are the facilities including pool, excercise room, lobby and breakfast area. Staff does an excellent job keeping rooms clean.
I love that I can go to any BW any where and know that I will get a clean, affordable room... Add in the breakfast with many different options healthy, traditional, and not so healthy! and you have a great place to stay!!
Hotel was very clean and we loved the spacious room. Hotel staff were extremely nice and helpful however, we had to wait well over an hour for the shuttle to pick us up from the airport. I called at 5:20pm and we were picked up at 6:40. I think the driver should confirm names on his van before he leaves any terminal to make sure he has everyone. We saw him drive by after picking up another couple but couldn't stop him. We immediately called the hotel so they could get him to turn around. We waited another hour. Not sure if we will be back due to this issue. We travel 3 or 4 times a year and have never had this issue with any of the other hotels.
Just needed one nights stay to fly out in the morning. Room was huge, clean, and very affordable. Would defiantly stay here again. Shuttle service was fast and easy. Staff was very friendly and made check in a breeze. Breakfast was good, coffee could be better.
I searched many hotels looking for the perfect place to take my very pregnant daughter for a weekend getaway. With a dozen or more open tabs, I knew I needed to make a decision, close the computer and pack my bags! Seeing the hotel I grew anxious...would this be the place where she could relax and recharge? As the doors opened I knew this was the place! The staff was very friendly, you could tell they enjoyed their jobs. The room was wonderful and cold! Everything was fresh, clean and cold! The pool area was nice and the hottub inviting. Did I say the room was cold....yes, which was one of the requirements for the 100 degree weekend. The other requirements were met as well... Price of room....very satisfied Hotel amenities...very satisfied Comfy bed....very satisfied As the doors closed the last time, I smiled....we are rested and recharged..so come on little one, mama and gramma are ready to meet you!
I stayed here 4 days for a business trip and was very pleased with the overall customer service and cleanliness of my room in particular. The King Suite I stayed in had plenty of room with a comfortable bed and large LCD television. The location was convenient to the airport and the Irving area.
I was just staying the night there. Reached at 9 pm and called the hotel. They said it would take 30 minutes because it was a skated shuttle. I thought I would take a cab- is just 2 miles but the airport cabs had a $25 minimum. Finally took an Uber. The hotel was clean and nice. Took the shuttle back and it was fine.
After staying at a BW Premier, I am spoiled. This is okay for a one night, flying out in the morning hotel. The location to DFW is great. The shuttle driver was great! The hotel is just dated. I was disappointed that if I wanted to shut the bathroom door, I had a difficult time because it was getting caught on the toilet. Yup, re-read that sentence above. Bathroom door would get stuck on the toilet.
Truly enjoyed our stay. We stopped here prior to flying from DFW the next day. Hotel was nice, clean, and comfy. Also, was quiet considering the closeness to the airport. Staff was exceptional and rooms large. Highly recommend and plenty of restaurants close by.
Nice room. It was clean and well kept up. There was a separate living room area with a desk that was conducive to finishing some work. There is a convenient shuttle service to the airport. If I ever need a hotel near DFW airport again, I will be back.
My wife and I were stranded overnight at the DFW airport due to weather delays. We decided that we definitely did not want to spend the night at the airport and made an online reservation at this Best Western. When I called, even though the manager did not have a record of the online reservation, she went out of her way to help me cancel it (with a refund), reserved us the last room available, and sent a shuttle to pick us up from the airport. The service was absolutely fantastic, upon arrival the front desk helped us locate some much needed food, and signed us up for a shuttle back to the airport the next morning, in the morning, the breakfast attendant took special care of us, and made sure we had more than enough to eat and drink. The room was comfortable, clean, and everything was in working order. This was by far one of the best experiences I have had staying at a Best Western. If I could give a higher recommendation, I would! Great people here!
Great room and good staff. Room was up to date on style and very clean. Close to the DFW airport and places to eat just down the road. Also right next door to the parking spot so you could leave your car there with very little hassle. Will book all my stays here from now on.
I like that this hotel is near the Dallas airport and next to highways so is very convenient for a short stay and visiting the area. But rooms seem old and smell, very clean though. I guess is a trade for the low price you pay. Good continental breakfast.
My granddaughter and I stayed in Room 124, with a King “suite” and a sofa bed for two nights for $XXX.00 (with AAA rate). The term “suite” is deceptive as this is all a single room. Do know that this Best Western is more geared toward the business traveler. In fact, there were a number of international travelers during our visit. For me, this is cool as I like to chat with people from everywhere. The property looked nice upon arrival. I had no concerns about safety or the security of our vehicle. I will share that there are always jets flying nearby as they take-off and land. Since I was on the first floor, I am not sure how this affects people on the 3rd floor of the hotel. Our room was clean and in good repair. The room has a flat screen TV – around 40”. The internet worked well sometimes, slow in the mornings, and did not work at all one evening. The water pressure for the shower was good. The outdoor swimming pool and hot tub is maintained well. I mostly used the hot tub while my granddaughter enjoyed the swimming pool. The pool is not heated, so you will not want to swim on cool days. I was disappointed that there are not pool lounge chairs to relax upon. There are patio chairs and a table, but lounging chairs would have been nice. TIP: There is a shuttle that runs from the airport to this hotel. I believe that I overheard that the shuttle is a joint effort between the surrounding hotels. Have the front desk call to have it come by and get you for a ride to the airport.
This is a very clean, well kept property near DFW. We got a great deal at $75+tax for one night on short notice at end of May. I felt we definitely got our money's worth. Room was actually a suite and very clean/updated. Lots of TV channel options. Had a refrigerator and microwave. Quite a lot of space, except for the bathroom, which was a bit tight. Pool was nice. Breakfast buffet was as good or better than most. Shuttle service to DFW is shared with 4 other hotels nearby. I think this is the first stop on the way to the airport, so you should allow a maximum of 30-40 minutes, depending on what airline you are flying. Coming to the hotel from DFW, I believe this would be the first hotel drop-off. There is a Whataburger a short walk from the hotel, but otherwise nothing nearby to eat.
This establishment more than exceeded my expectations for a Best western Plus. The décor was very up to date and the comfort level of the rooms was nice to have. The large spacious rooms allowed for the entire family all 8 of us to play cards in one room turning a soggy trip into a great experience.
This is perfect for somebody who just needs a place to sleep but be warned the king suite bathrooms were very small and only one person could really use it at a time. So if you are traveling with a family this type of layout might not be the best. The bathroom sink drains were clogged indicating the room cleaning might not be very thorough. Breakfast started too late for us to take advantage of it. Extra bathroom towels were not delivered when requested.
This hotel is quite clean and comfortable. Just need to remember that it has the airport on one side and freeway on the other. We chose a room on the airport side which was quiet till morning but once the flights started arriving/departing the noise level went up.
Come in late but the front desk was still friendly and helpful! Everything was well prepared. Rooms are really state of the art for that kind of hotels. Even so the wifi/internet access in the rooms. Breakfast with a great variety and fresh products. Love the Texas shaped waffles! Highly recommended from us all!
This hotel is an excellent option if you are staying in the DFW area. The property seems very new, and my wife thought the rooms were the nicest we have stayed in. Appreciated the free airport shuttle. Good breakfast (included). Front desk staff (Blanca and Brenda, while we were there) were great. One advisory note: the property, like many other new hotels at DFW airport, are not close to any shopping and restaurants.
One again we chose to stay over after a long flight from England before driving up to Oklahoma the following day. This hotel is perfect for us and is our 2nd visit. Well priced. Rooms clean and comfortable. Staff welcoming. Breakfast is the usual hotel buffet fare but perfectly adequate and constantly restocked. Down side for us (not having a car and not wishing to drive after 20 hour journey) is the lack of restaurants etc around. However, plenty can be found should you be fresh enough to drive just a short distance. On our last visit we used the shared shuttle service to get to the hotel but it took an absolute age to arrive (almost an hour) so this time we used a taxi from the airport and cost us $28 which was OK after a long day as we were at the door in just 10 minutes. The shuttle service however worked well and on time for our return journey back to DFW. So .... overall....good value and will return here on our next visit.
I came here for business for 2 nights. I was very pleased with the staff, breakfast, and the room. The WiFi was a little hard to use the first night but worked excellent the next night. All together this was a very comfortable place to stay, almost didn't want to leave.
The hotel itself is great and the staff was very kind. The only thing is that my TV did not work properly. I would definitely choose this hotel again. It is one of the nicest I have stayed in and the price was reasonable. The breakfast was appetizing. There was a variety (not just your cereal and muffin) breakfast
Location is as the title says. Room spacious , well lit and windows open. Satisfactory breakfast. Clean room, basic and perhaps a bit tired but expected for the location and the heavy traffic. There is a shuttle but it is not operated by the hotel so call them to make sure you know what bus to look for and be on time and let them know in your way back to the airport. Ample parking, all in all a good hotel that serves its purpose.
I just booked this hotel since we were flying out the next morning. This is a nice hotel. Our room was on the ground floor. There was more jet noise than expected but it was OK. Breakfast had good variety of food. I did not care for the taste of the bacon.
My flight was cancelled and the lines at DFW were long. I decided to make the best of it and got a hotel at Best Western Plus. The rooms are large and comfortable. The young lady at the front desk (afternoon) was very informative. She filled me in on the name change and the soon to come changes for Best Western. She seems to really love working for Best Western. The breakfast was a normal breakfast with the added plus of making your own smoothies. I would stay here again. Wish there were more food choices around.
I'm a repeater to this hotel. The reason why I came back is that frindly attitude of front satff. Not only particular satff, all the staff whom I met were very frinendly people. I believe this is the basics of the hotel and you will not disappoint in this respect. Room is average as suites and clean enough.Value for money.
Our was spacious and clean. It was very comfortable. Great bed and the pillows were fantastic. The staff was very nice and the breakfast service was very nice. My husband says he knows where we will be staying from now on when we go to Dallas/Ft Worth area.
This hotel provides it all!! The shuttle driver from the airport was on time and extremely helpful. The check-in process went very smoothly and the clerk was so helpful. Our room was way more than I expected. A beautiful bedroom, with a large and comfortable sitting area. Nice desk area to use for the great internet service. The complimentary breakfast was served in a nicely arranged room, with ample seating area. All the breakfast items were appetizing and provided a wonderful selection of hot and cold items. I really enjoyed the cheese omelet and sausages. Check-out and the ride back to DFW went great. I will definitely do my best to stay again at the Best Western Plus.
Lovely hotel and super breakfast. Shuttle trip from the airport to the hotel needs work because they are using 3rd party to do the service and they take a long time (close to 45 mins) to arrive to the airport even though they are only 7 mins away. Otherwise nice rooms, comfy beds and clean.
The hotel and services were typical of a Best Western Plus. The staff were excellent. Our only slight concern was that breakast service started a little late and the food quality and variety could have been better.
No hotel has ever gotten a 10, this one gets a 10+. Staff excessed my expectations. Made me feel like home. Breakfast was a place in heaven. Cleaning employees did a fantastic jobs. Swimming area and hot tube were well maintained. You can tell when a person takes pride in all they are doing. The reception staff will amount to something , their encounter with me was noting but the best.
I booked this hotel just so we could get 5 or 6 hours of sleep between late-night and early-morning flights. I called as soon as we got off the plane to let the hotel know we needed a ride. It was close to an hour and a half (and three phone calls) before they picked us up. Every other hotel shuttle (including the flight crew) for other hotels had been picked up. They kept telling me "the driver will be there in five minutes; he is at the stop ahead of you". We got 2 1/2 hours of sleep. Might as well have stayed at the airport, honestly. Oh...and when we turned on the light in the bathroom, there was a cockroach. So, pick a spot on the floor at DVW airport before you book here.
From the moment I entered the hotel and was greeted by Blanca, I was impressed! The staff was friendly and professional and the room large and very nice. I will probably stay here again when flying out of DFW.
Chose this hotel close to DFW airport. Shuttle service excellent. Hotel room was clean and renovated. No Complaints at all on room or Check in /out service including 6am shuttle back the next day. Was too early for breakfast but coffee and I think fruit was available and muffins to go Keep in mind that there is no restaurant bar or room service. They have frozen dinners at reception and microwave in room. If you don't have a car the only places in walking distance is the petrol station ( 5 mins) the Sheraton which has a bar ( 15 mins) and Denny's (about 20 mins)
The room is comfortable and is equipped with the comforts of home. The breakfast is top notch with an assortment of food options that we have come to expect, but sadly the airport pickup was not satisfactory taking almost an hour to be picked up.
Enough space in the room; guest laundry available; good breakfast; clean TV remotes!!! I like the soap/shampoo containers they have in the bathroom, very useful. Extremely helpful receptionists; Good location next to the airport and highway to Dallas city. Free airport shuttle. Parking available free of charge.
Good proximity to airport, cozy, commodious, clean, quite, with professional service. After waiting over an hour for a the particular multi-hotel shuttle service that was supposed to take me to Days Inn South, I switched reservations to Best Western Suites. I then proceeded to eat dinner at the airport while looking on my iphone to figure out how much farther Days Inn South was as compared to Best Western Suites. Unlike the evening multi-hotel shuttle service, the morning shuttle service was timely.
Had reservations with this hotel but couldn't make it because plane had mechanical issues. I asked hotel if they would make exception and they said no. They said we should have called. We found out at 1:00am that we couldn't get a flight out till early next morning. I did email the hotel letting them know we would be arriving late before I knew we wouldn't make it. I also emailed them the next day when we arrived asking for an exception. Do not make a reservation with them unless you can cancel. We were unable do to the late hour and then being on a replacement flight that lasted around four hours. A 3 hr flight turned into 16 hr nightmare and got no compassion from our booked hotel.
VERY comfortable place to stay. Very nice rooms, friendly and helpful staff, and excellent full breakfast. The hotel is very conveniently located to the DFW Airport and right between Dallas and Ft Worth
Very much worth the value and wonderful customer service. Got to hotel at 11 am (way before check in) and front desk asked house keeping to get a room ready for me upon check in and it was ready in less than 20 minutes. Also - the bed was EXTREMELY comfortable.
Attended a conference with a rather large group from church located near this hotel. Room was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was decent. Our group utilized the breakfast area each evening as we gathered to compare notes and discuss the conference. Will stay here again if the opportunity arises.
place was easy to find and once we got there was able to get around with ease, very very simple and text book check in and stay would definitely stay and advise everybody to stay there ,very comfortable rooms nice view my 4 year old love watching planes come in and out ,quite environment the place look clean all the time
I stayed here coming home from Latin America to Canada. I had to overnight for a connecting flight and chose this hotel as it had a shuttle and was close to the DFW airport. Once I found where the shuttles came to I was picked up within 15 mins. Make sure you are going to the correct Best Western as there are many. The drive there was 10 mins. The hotel front desk staff were very attentive & friendly both coming and going. They have a nice outdoor pool/hot tub & workout room which I used and enjoyed after my tiring flight. My room was large, clean had good WIFI for my e-mails home and a good flat screen TV with lots of HD channels to watch. The only downside to this location of the hotel is there is no real restaurants nearby. a fast food burger place is there adjoined by a gas station where you could pick up a beer or wine and snacks which was ok by me. In the morning it had a great included breakfast with many choices between 0630-0900. The lady in charge of it was very helpful if something ran out or if you didn't know where something was. All in all I had a very good experience here...
There are 2 BW+ hotels in the area. The airport shuttle drivers seem to get confused as they are shared between many hotels The hotel is neat and clean but pretty ow end and the only food closeby is a convenience store with a fast food burger joint. The breakfast at the hotel was barely edible with rubberlike eggs. I'd recomend stayingsomewhere else on your next DFW layover
Clean, efficient, and roomy are the more apt descriptions of staying one night while in transit through DFW. It has a most adequate, included, breakfast, although they all are pretty much the same these days at this level: waffles, yogurt, cereals, coffee, tea, etc. The hot tub was an added plus on a chilly afternoon. One draw back was an inefficient shared shuttle service. Takes a long time for pick up and we were dropped off on the return, at a location far from our gate. When we protested were told that 'this is where I drop you off". We did call the front desk after arriving finally at our gate to let them know this was not adequate shuttle service. Hopefully, it will be addressed for future guests. But, the shuttle service is shared between hotels and does not reflect on the cleanliness, rate, or comfort of this property. A good choice for transit. There is only a Whataburger within walking distance of the hotel, you should consider eating at the airport first.
A very nice room with very good shuttle service to airport with 24 hour service. Left early early so don't know about breakfast. Slight highway noise and some jet noise but not so disturbing of sleep. No nearby restaurants so driving for meals is necessary.
Very disappointment when nothing was done (except handed a plunger) when informed our toilet was not working properly. Cut our trip short. No fun when your toilet does not work. Should have know when we not to expect too much when we found a beer cap on the floor of the bathroom upon our arrival.
Just a quick stay but overall Very clean and nice. Had stayed at 2 different Marriots all week in Houston and this hotel was much nicer than both. Would def. stay here again as this was among nicest bestwesterns I have stayed at
Great location from airport. The staff was very helpful and polite. The dining area is very clean and nicely setup. The coffee was excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other travelers, whether on business or vacation. Overall very good experience there.
If flying in or out of DFW & need an overnight stay, this is your place! Good inexpensive rooms, free shuttle, GREAT Breakfast, and fine facility. Outdoor Pool, & Hot tub. Nice Business Center in front lobby, excellent for printing boarding passes. Restaurants within waling distance.
About a 20 minute free shuttle ride from the airport. Staff was very friendly and helpful with check in and check out and. Hotel was very clean and well kept. And the on line discount was a plus. I would stay here again if I'm ever in Dallas again.
I checked in Christmas eve for an early DFW departure and then went about the business of returning my rental car to avoid delays the next morning. When returning I met Ms Patel, who had checked me in earlier, on her way home for the day. She asked me how my stay was going and I complained about an unfortunate experience returning the car and was a little disappointed in the shuttle service and was worried about how well it would work in the morning and to be careful would have to get up extra early on Christmas morning to give myself more time to make the flight which was the whole reason I was staying near the airport in the first place. The next morning I arose to find out that I had been comped for my stay! Not only that but there was fresh hot coffee made with other goodies out even though it was way early for breakfast, and finally after all that, the shuttle service was perfect! Amazing. Made the whole rest of the day and my holiday attitude more the reason for the season.
Great location and proximity to airport very nice rooms great breakfast very good service would definitely stay here in the future Great room helpful staff and prompt shuttle to and from airport strongly recommend
Make sure to get a room facing away from airport. You will still get road noise, but airport noise facing airport is beyond tolerable. Staff is very helpful in many ways. Location is great for airport access. Shuttle bus worked well. Remember to call when ready.
The hotel staff is just excellent and they understand the travelers needs and ready to offer the help. When I asked for a needle and thread for stiching a button on my coat, the front desk lady not offered the needed and thread, she is even ready for stiching, which I have politely rejected. But the kind of care was so appreciated.
Best Western Plus at DFW Airport was great. Service was great. Quick and Friendly. Room was great. Clean. Like the layout. Room was convenient to outside door, pool, breakfast room, and front desk. Couldn't have asked for more. Price was awesome. We received better service, better breakfast food, and convenience than at higher priced hotels.
I need to let you know about Brenda at the front desk. She is amazing this is like the fifth time I've been here and every time I show up she always goes out of her way to do anything I ask and I tell you what my company pays for me to stay anywhere and I choose here because of her. Brenda you do a wonderful job keep up the fantastic work and you go girl
My family and I stayed here the night before our flight was to leave for a week to North Carolina. The hotel was great and nice for the price, and we enjoyed our stay. We were also able to leave our vehicle there at the hotel for the week while we were gone for a much cheaper price than parking at the hotel, and the shuttle was very prompt and helpful in getting us to our check-in in a timely manner. He even took us straight to our truck when we returned so we didn't have to walk all the way to the back of the hotel. If we travel from DFW again, we will definitely be staying here!
I had a group of high school students and booked 11 rooms. From the moment we walked in the door, the front desk staff was ready with all of the keys and ready to accommodate us. The hot breakfast in the morning worked great and was filling. They let us use the dining area for our group in the evening for pizza and provide plates, etc. The rooms were comfortable. The shuttle to and from the airport was right on time. Everything ran very smoothly on both ends (we stayed at this hotel the first night of our trip to Belize and then on the return). I would highly recommend it.
This hotel was more than what I expected since my husband and I have stayed in another Bestwestern Hotel in California. First, the roof tariff is cheaper, but the space was also a lot bigger, cleaner, and to add a bonus to these, the building seemed new, making it very comfortable to stay in. Our King size bed was just great. I don't remember I have any complain during our stay there. The bathroom although small, but was still conveniently sized, not compact. I don't recall any problem with hot water, or noises although I overheard one guest complained to the front office about other guests who made noises above his room with thumping sounds through the night. Although only 2km from the airport, there was no noisy nights for my husband and I from our room. The breakfasts were simple, but like other Bestwestern Hotels, I still loved their marvelous self-made waffle! There were cereals, egg omelette with various fillings choices, bananas, milk, juices, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Just one thing I found quite amiss was, whenever I pass the fridge, there was an unpleasant smell. I didn't get to find out what caused it but I suspect the smell could also have come from the coffeemaker which was placed near the fridge too. I didn't get to use the coffee-maker during my stay there and that smell added to my abstinence. The cleaning staff was also pleasant and I remember asking for something and they just gave me without any problems. The front office was non-hassle, if we ask the staff for any assistant, they were chilled and pleasant in attending to our needs. My husband left behind his phone charger at home, they gladly lent him one from their office. I hope other Bestwestern Hotels are this nice when I get to stay there in various other cities in the future. This hotel gave me a pleasant experience to my days while in Dallas. And certainly gave me a pleasant glimpse of nice American hospitality.
Clean, reasonable and friendly....Reliable shuttle service and within walking distance to 5 restaurants. The hot breakfast is good-even offering blueberry waffles.......The staff is very helpful and there are no issues with parking,...Nice pool too.
The staff was great. Hot coffee all hours. Missed breakfast, the flight was at 7:10, left before serving time. Was very convenient for airport and shuttle. Good experience. Wish breakfast was served earlier. Did not like the pool/hot tub area, was gated but not enclosed by fence to keep people out that are not staying there.
if ever you a looking for clean bathrooms, comfortable beds and a very attractive entrance this is the spot for you. the staff was friendly and very familiar with the surrounding areas. don't waste your time and energy looking else where and if you are not a card holding member you should become one. I received a room with the option to upgrade to a sweet for low cost and all the amenities. LOVED IT!
We stayed one night at this hotel since we had an early morning flight out of DFW airport. We've had our fair share of not-so-nice hotels near DFW because we can't stand the thought of paying a lot to stay in a hotel room for only a few hours. We were pleasantly surprised at this hotel. The price was good, and it was clean and comfortable. The shower even had good water pressure and temperature. We would definitely stay overnight here again when flying out of DFW.
Food was ok... the "room service" menu was wrong and was a negative experience-we had to choose another place. But the place we chose to deliver food to us was really good. The room was nice enough. Close to airport. Getting there on unfamiliar roads at night was scary. Staff at desk was somewhat helpful and ok on the friendly scale.
the hotel is very conveniently placed within walking distance to a convenient store. the staff had menues for delivery at the desk and delivered any faxes I had to my room. Because of the weather, I was not able to make it to my destination. The hotel had shampoo, conditioner and bodywash in the shower. The full breakfast was great.
Not a good place to stay for the money I paid. Not a very ideal and comfortable location. Very bad service. Not a clean hotel to my experience. Language problem in communicating with the staff. Staff not well trained. Need more attention from the management in all areas of hotel.
The hotel provided excellent service. The staff was friendly and professional. They allowed me, for a very small fee, to park my vehicle in their parking lot for my entire 8 day trip. They were the only hotel within my price range to provide 24 hour shuttle service to the DFW airport. I highly recommend this hotel.
Due to hurricane-related weather our flight was cancelled and we were stuck overnight in Dallas. We were lucky to get a last-minute deal on the room, which includes a free shuttle from/to the airport and breakfast, altogether a great value. At the airport it was confusing to find the right shuttle. There are at least three Best Western shuttles and the one to this location has several logo's on the side. After a miserable trip, we were happy to find an assortment of microwavable dinners to purchase at the hotel (microwave and fridge in room) so we didn't have to search out a meal in the storm. The room was clean and spacious, though the bed was a bit firm for me. We heard a few planes taking off, so noise might be a problem if you are there on a day when flights are not cancelled. Breakfast included eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, gravy and various cold items. It was great to have breakfast and a ride to the airport ready for us (check the shuttle schedule in advance). I can't say if this is a good location for a longer stay in Dallas, but it was perfect for overnight.
Nice hotel. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, spacious rooms. Staff is friendly and helpful. The airport is very close to the hotel and you can hear planes taking off and landing, but they didn't interfere with sleep. Breakfast was provided and was of good quality. My conference was in Grapevine and I could easily get to my destination on N. Airfield Road behind the hotel...avoiding 114/121.
Needed a room on short notice because DFW flights were canceled. Nothing fancy, but the staff was efficient and friendly and I got a clean, comfortable room in a safe environment. Important when traveling alone. $89/night seemed like a good deal too. Shuttle ride arranged by the hotel was less than 15 minutes from DFW.
This was a very nice hotel. The front desk person so was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very nice and roomy and the beds were so comfortable. Good breakfast and the person working in the breakfast area was nice enough to make me some bacon when there was only sausage. Would definitely stay again.
Overall it's a good Hotel. The rooms are clean and of a good size. Typical continental breakfast is served. My only complaint is that there is no shuttle service (only to the airport). You absolutely need a car to get around. Not much within walking distance. Hotel is near the freeway. So we can hear all the traffic at night. That can make it a little challenging to sleep if you're a light sleeper. But, I have been to worst locations.
The hotel is a good hotel. Nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable. The room was quiet. The most outstanding part of my stay was the front desk person. She was not only a wealth of knowledge, suggesting ways to get around inexpensively, she went above and beyond to print out directions and give great suggestions. She made me feel welcome and I would definitely come back!!!
Suite was large, spotless and very comfortable. Special thanks to Blanca and Brenda who were so kind to help me with my luggage and so friendly and welcoming. Good breakfast choices. Definitely stay here again.
We had the opportunity to stay here once on the way to our final destination and once on the way back home. Our room for the first night was a bit of a disappointment. I won't go into specifics because the hotel completely redeemed itself when we stayed again on our way home. After the first night, I received a survey from Best Western which I completed honestly and mentioned a few of the issues we had with our room. I received a very prompt and concerned response from the Director of Sales, Mehul Patel. He was sorry that he didn't get a chance to make it up to us when we were there, but I let him know we'll be back at the end of our vacation. When we arrived the second time, we had a very nice room on the third floor. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Staff left some complimentary treats in the room for us, which was nice. I have to admit that after our first night, I probably wouldn't have recommended this hotel. I'm happy that our next stay was better and not only would I recommend it, but I wouldn't mind staying there again when passing through DFW. There's not a lot to do in the area, but if you have time, you can take a short cab ride to Grapevine Mills Mall and spend many hours there if not a whole day. Wifi was 2-3 bars at best, but I've never been to a hotel where wifi has worked perfectly. The shuttle is convenient though it stops at other hotels and terminals so you probably need to allow about 30 minutes to get to the airport.
Did not like having the staff mop with unpleasant cleaning fluids all around you while you are eating breakfast. They allowed me to check in early which was super nice but the room still had trash in cans from previous guest. Guess you have to let that go since they rushed to get a room ready. Overall - Average Hotel
Hotel is always clean and the staff go out of their way to help out. The hot tub is not always hot but the pool is nice. Wireless internet crawls. I usually end up using my data connection on my tablet to get work done.
