I would for sure go back.really friendly staff.right across the street is a chicken and waffles restaurant.
Hotel was clean and staff was very helpful. Wasn't there long enough to experience all the amenities but what I did I enjoyed.
Room was spacious, however the carpet felt grimy, bathroom sink did not drain when water was running. The bed was extremely hard like a board.
Had loved ones in town for usc graduation. Best western suited the needs of everyone. Good job guys!
Complimentary early check in and water bottles. Plenty of close parking. Great location to SoFi. Clean room and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others visiting this area. Great value!
The price range was reasonable, however I wasn't aware of the additional parking fee. But, remembering this is the Los Angeles area and that there is rarely "free parking." The room was nice and clean and look like it had been updated recently. The breakfast was good, all the typical stuff you would expect. The airport is less than 15 minutes away. The hotel is right off the freeway so easy access. There are also food options nearby.
Overall it was an average experience. We stayed one short night to be close to the airport. Did much of the amenities since we had to get early for our flight morning. The front desk did a good job checking us in but wasn't too hospitable. Basically didn't have much personality and not much engaging.
The stay was quite good, the only reason for the 4 star rating is because it is literally adjacent to the 405. It was a bit louder than expected, but the stay overall was good. Again, the staff were just great!
Mr. Dee was an outstanding agent for BW. He warmness& greeting was 'super outstanding'. He checked in on us to ensure all was good and it was! The 'hot tub' was great and and in perfect working order...so good after a long drive. We were only there for 1 nite at YouTube Theater concert...would use BW again. Thank u Mr. Dee. Ben & Alicia - san diego - Sep. 2023 This was not a BW Plus...but met our expectations for 1 nite & cost.
I asked to view the room before staying as the pictures online were a far distinct contrast to what I saw in person upon arrival. I instinctively requested to inspect the room and upon opening the door was met with a very strong stench of what smelt like cigarette and cannabis. I immediately requested for a new room which they did not have and I rejected the room. Shockingly, I noticed that I still got charged for not staying and it is taking weeks on end to fight for my money back. Nasty place and would definitely avoid in future.
the manager Dee is such a pleasure and he's very caring of all his guest that stay there. he's always friendly and willing to go above and beyond to make sure his guest are very happy and comfortable and satisfied :) THANK YOU Dee
Surprisingly great hotel. Obviously, nothing fancy, but the rooms were very clean, and the staff was very friendly. Nice little pool area to convene with friends. Continental breakfast is typical -- nothing great, not terrible. 24-hour coffee - either in lobby or room - is nice. They provide water too, via a cooler or bottles. As good as a hotel of this caliber can get. Also, great dining at Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles across the street, and Randy's Donuts is to die for.
It was a very good day. The staff are very helpful. The place is very clean and the manager is very helpful. Best Western is a very good hotel and I enjoy staying there when I come to LA. I also will tell any of my friends that are traveling to Los Angeles about the hotel and how the staff is very helpful. I never have any problems when I stay at the best Western.
Last Sunday, We made a mistake (I guess) well, making the reservation online, it saved todays date as the reservation date instead of the day by that we wanted. When we try to fix the issue, we called back to the hotel, and we were told that it was too late. We were still charged for the room when we never stayed there. I want a full or at least a partial refund.
Very professional and courteous staff. Room was clean and in working order. Surprisingly quiet even though the property is near the a freeway and LAX. Excellent, comfortable two night stays with convenient outlets within walking distance.
This is a superb hotel. Great staff. I highly recommend this place. Close to LAX, SO-Fi Stadium, and the Forum. Not too far from DTLA or West Hollywood. The front desk will check you in early if they have the rooms available, which is really appreciated. The rooms are clean, and the breakfast is good. I highly recommend this place.
Great location near the airport. Parking is just $10 per night. Room big and bed comfortable. Room had safe, fridge, microwave and coffee machine.Breakfast was included. Choice of waffles, juice, sausage, egg, cereal, fruit, bread and cakes.Staff friendly.
We checked in to a very un personable lady. Asked about cabs and food she had no idea. Then a white Maserati pulls in the parking lot . Backs into a stall. Sits there for like 10 min . Then this girl comes walking out of a room from the bottom walks up to the car . When they opened the door a plume of smoke bellows out of it stunk up the entire hotel . Exchanged what looked like money and something . They then sat there she went back in then she came back out with something else handed it to them and they left . Got to my room nervous ! My room smelled like the Lysol factory like they had cleaned up a murder or something lol. There were cleaning rags left on the chair it was just a mess!!
Truly T E R R I B L E ! Made a reservation based on Trip Advisor reviews. . . .What a mistake! Probably the most inaccurate reviews I have ever seen. I'd say this place was a dump, but that would give dumps bad rap. The carpet was so dirty I had to wash the soles of my feet. The door handles were literally falling off. The bathroom was toxic with mold, grey stains, warped wood, wrecked mirror, nails sticking out of the wall, hair stuck to shower wall. . . ick! We couldn't wait to get out of this place.
Of the 3 Best Westerns between LAX and the west side of LA, this is by far the nicest and has the best service. I travel for business in LA and always book this location if possible. The staff truly seem to care about their guests and are friendly and accommodating. Laura went above and beyond and made sure to acknowledge my Rewards status. The parking here is easy and the hotel is located near many restaurants and shopping. Extremely convenient to the freeway and close to LAX.
If you want a 5star hotel this where you need to be shop no further best location good food close to the Sofi stadium and forum you can literally walk there if you needed to the manager was so nice to me
Walls are filthy. Room smelled so bad. Pillows are extra small. I literally kept my bag in the car because I felt like I was going to see a bug for sure (but didn't). Had to stand outside in the cold because the lobby is closed after a certain time.
This hotel is close to The Forum and a Stadium with Great Parking. The breakfast was good and convenient. This hotel had a genuinely nicer staff than most I've stayed in. It's why I took the time to write a review.
Very accessible and affordable place to stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Place and room was clean. Area is close to airport and easy to travel in and out. Would recommend this place to stay. and would come back again!
At first I didn't know what to expect but over all I'm glad i made the decision of staying at this BEST WESTERN location near LAX. The area is decent and the rooms and personal were great! Rooms were clean and comfy. Definitely will be staying here again on my next venture to Los Angeles!
This place was very clean and nice to stay at. Staff was friendly and breakfast was convenient and delicious. My room was a good size, bed was nicely done and did I mention how clean it was!! Thank you!
After checking in and getting to our room the first thing I did was open the fridge so I could put away my water, when I opened it I saw an old pizza box stuffed inside with an old pizza slice still in it. I called the front desk to them know and to ask for another room and was told that I was assigned the wrong room and would be moved right away. The man who checked me in came up very quickly and showered us to out new room and inspected it to make sure everything was clean. Besides the cold pizza, everything else was ok.
We have been staying here for years and keep coming back because of the staff and friendly accommodations. they always make us feel at home. Great value, close to all major roads. good breakfast. close to LAX. room was large and comfortable. not noisy even though we were facing the 405
Booked a non smoking room with jacuzzi room smelled like smoke and Jacuzzi was out of order kind of a good area don't go out at night breakfast is small but does the job pool needs to be serviced it's very dirty
Had stayed about 6 months ago, and was everything was ok for the price. Maybe this time it was the room and it's location that was a problem. Room 407, top floor, street view front, as most of the rooms are. Cigarette stench, terrible mattress (hard, lumpy, sagging on one side), bathroom fan comes on automatically when light switches on and was doing a loud death rattle, children outside a house behind the pool and parking lot playing and screaming until midnight, it was so loud, we thought they were right outside our door. Yes, we know the hotel is on a very busy street, as well as an exit ramp for the 405 freeway, but every traffic noise and plane crossing overhead on LAX landing pattern was even louder in this room than the one we stayed in before. We always wear high quality earplugs, so maybe this room's location just channels the noise in. Pros- Room basically clean, room stocked with toiletries and coffee/tea supplied, pool and hot tub looked clean. Complimentary breakfast with usual offerings of chain hotels of this level. Reception staff and housekeeping staff friendly and helpful. It is one of the least expensive hotels in the LAX area, but we will go elsewhere next time.
The receptionist was very friendly and was quick to get me checked in. Room was clean and had everything I needed. Breakfast was fresh and hot plus someone was there to help if needed. The lady in the breakfast launch was refilling hot as needed to make sure it stayed fresh for everyone. Manager was very friendly and talked to me when he saw me.
The so called hotel should be actually a motel. It really meets all the requirements for it, but never should be considered as an hotel. Shame on you Best Western. You need to rescue your reputation. The sad part is that the place is not in a bad area, but the service and quality really is worth it if a place like Watts or Compton.
Clean, safe, fresh, friendly overall just great ! I would recommend to anybody I know. The jacuzzi was my favorite part very private and clean ! I would love to stay here again when I get the chance to.
It is on a main street, so traffic noise until around 11pm. Was told breakfast was at 6am, but no one showed up til 6:30 and needed 15 minutes to set up. had a early morning flight and could not wait. Kind of a waste of money!
As I have said was very quiet and very clean. Would definitely stay again. The spa tub was in working order and I really enjoyed myself. Was an easy area near public transportation and conveniently near LAX airport.
The staff at this site is very professional and helpful. The location is great - near major freeways and a variety of restaurants (many within walking distance). The parking lot is well lit and felt safe. I recommend!
I've stayed at quite a few BW hotels in Los Angeles over this past year...BW Airpark was one of the best. I recommend staying at this BW!! Staff was great!!! Breakfast was great (hot breakfast) and location very accessible and close to LAX.
Clean room great employee's management was excellent quite nice area will be back stayed 4 days fast service wonderful maids large rooms definitely would recommend a little bit pricey easy access to restaurants
Two people of the desk were nice and very helpful; one was rude. The neighborhood is iffy--there was a homeless "tent" right outside. The security is also iffy--all rooms open into the parking lot, and some of the passersby looked rough...and all for over $500 on Super Bowl weekend. Talk about a rip-off!!
Check in was short and easy! Staff is always polite and very helpful with anything that I needed. Rooms were two lean beds are super comfy. This is my go to when I'm in LA and they have many food options near!
My stay at the Best Western Inglewood was for an emergency funeral and my experience was awful the manager was rude the secretary was harassing the room had ants in it and just the treatment was not becoming of a disabled veteran
I stayed in this hotel due to a 14 hour layover, which it suited the purpose for. Pros: the bed was comfortable. The room was quiet and spacious. Cons: due to covid the complementary shuttle was not operating which meant an Uber ride to cover the 1.5 mile drive to and from the airport which cost nearly $50 ONE WAY because of California's crazy and not sustainable mandates for Uber drivers. We arrived and in the lobby was an insane woman sitting in a wheelchair she didn't seem to need shouting about a taxi driver stealing her money and her mom working at a la Quinta hotel. Admittedly, this is not the hotel's fault but does not give much confidence of the area. The room is VERY dated and had a slightly stale cigarette smoke smell. I don't know if it was only our room but the toilet screamed every time it was flushed. It was loud enough to wake me when my husband flushed it at 5 am.
This property was clean, comfortable, and well priced for an event weekend. The whole area seemed to be older, this location was fairly up to date and convenient to the airport and to Sofi Stadium. If we were in town for a day football game I might have felt comfortable walking but not at all at night.
This hotel was a grest deal especially with my hotel discounts. Room 406 is a super large and comfortable room with king bed. I DEFINITELY plan on staying here again, so close to LAX with easy access!
Nice hotel in a great location close to the airport (very quiet considering it's proximity to LAX). I've stayed here a few nights a week for the past two months, the rooms are always clean and well maintained. The staff are always friendly and the manager is great, any special requests I have are always happily honored. Great place to stay, highly recommended!
The bathrooms really need some remodeling. The hotel exterior and lobby is very old fashioned. The parking lot and the elevator smelled like weed. The hotel is short on staff and they transfer all the phone calls to central reservation.
Best jacuzzi suites and the only one so far where they have a smoking jacuzzi room. Great experience for newlyweds. Just got married and took my wife there to let her relax before she have our twins this weekend. This was the last thing she wanted and she was very satisfied with the experience.
Everytime I need somewhere to stay the best western never lets me down Everytime I can rely on a team member to assist me during my visit The property is always clean and welcoming I look forward to staying at the best western every time I'm in The LAX area
Clean rooms...clean rooms.. Friendly staff.. Breakfast . quiet at night.. 4th flior is the best.. Ask for fourth floor.. If something is not right they will fix.. Roscoes chicken and waffles next door.. Coffee machine in room to get you going . enjoy!!!
Honestly this was the best staff I've ever worked with. They were so accommodating and kind. This motel did great even in spite of the COVID restrictions and provided great amenities.Housekeeping was phenomenal. We will stay here again if in the area.
The room smelt like cigarettes, the bed was just a box spring and the comforter had some dirt on it when we arrived. Front staff was friendly though. The pictures on their website were extremely generous to how the room actually looks in person.
I stayed one night. Location is off a major street, close to some grocery spots and destinations like LAX and Loyola University. The hotel is older but staff works hard to keep it clean. I booked through a third party site which mislabeled the rooms so I thought I was getting a jacuzzi suite but alas, it was just a regular king room. The front desk receptionist was very friendly and efficient; she showed me the only jacuzzi room available but I declined to switch due to it being a smoking room. The room I stayed in was "non-smoking" but the smell was still quite noticeable underneath the air freshener, perhaps it had been converted. I tried to air it out by opening the window which faced the main street. It was very noisy so I closed it. I have sensitive respiratory system so the old smoke smell did make me cough after a night of sleeping there. Other than that though, the room was clean and spacious, a little old but nothing that affected my ability to relax during my travel. It had a fridge, desk, and armchair which was nice. All my interactions with staff was nothing but friendly, helpful, and professional. Their demeanor makes the hotel worth considering if you're needing an affordable option in this area.
manager made sure I was good and accommodated me so much and I appreciate it . All the staff is very helpful and respectful. I was so comfortable I didn't want to leave I kept booking more days my room was clean and I was happy ..my daughter said the staff was cool and she loved it
Disgusting room. Leaking Jacuzzi. Nasty dirty! Horrible. I've stayed in Best Western before. This one was disgusting! I will never return to this best western location again. The room smelled horrible. The water system was clogged. The floor was wet upon arrival. Couldn't switch rooms. It was BAD! Do not! I repeat DO NOT let them book you in room 101
Great location with free LAX shuttle. Very well maintained grounds, friendly staff and clean rooms. Near a nice variety of restaurants - within walking distance of Randy's Donuts and Rosco's Chicken & Waffles. Also adjacent to the 405 freeway.
Best stay ever. The bed is comfy the pillows was comfy. Me and my partner were late in LA the other night and we didn't want to drive all the way back home tired so I called hotels and all were full and some were just not taking anything because of the pandemic but here is the best hotel that open up a stay for us and we couldn't be any more happier.
They always clean and courteous I've always gotten a room with everything working if I need anything they are their in a few minutes I've been going to Airpark Best western for over a year and I still recommend it to all my family and friends
Staff is always friendly, attentive and professional. Location is convenient to 405 and 105. Plenty of restaurants in the area. Well maintained property. Plenty of parking. Regular guest and am always satisfied with this venue.
The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The grounds are well lit and well maintained. The location is right next to the 405 freeway and just minutes from LAX. There are plenty of restaurant options within walking distance and the neighborhood is mostly commercial with some homes located behind the property.
Staff is always wonderful, goes above and beyond to ensure guest satisfaction, clean rooms, good wifi, and great price. The manager always helps with any needs or concerns, has answers for questions about the area etc
We stayed here inbetween flights at LAX. Called for a pick up after we got our luggage and only had to wait about 15 minutes. Check in was quick, easy and friendly. Room was basic and clean, just what we needed. Nice breakfast with friendly service. There is a pool and hot tub but we did not use. Walls were a bit thin and we could hear walking up above. Best to get a room on the top floor! Elevator available. Good choice!
I am so happy I decided to stay at Best Western Airpark!! I will definitely stay here again when I need an affordable night's stay near LAX or The Forum. (It was certainly comfortable enough for a longer stay... I am just usually in the area for one night prior to an event or flight.) Parking was easy and felt safe. Check-in was a breeze! (Thank you, Gloria!! You provided excellent service!) The elevator made my 2nd floor room easily accessible and there was a full ice machine right outside the elevator on 2nd floor. The room was clean and freshly updated, which was a pleasant surprise! (Much nicer than the photos on the website.) Rooms include a fridge, microwave and Keurig coffee maker with coffee and condiments. They also offer a free breakfast downstairs and free airport transfer. I was heading to The Forum to see Oprah, so took advantage of the bus stop right in front of the hotel. Hopped on the 115 Metro bus for $1.75 and got dropped off at the corner right in front of the venue! (And, avoided the gnarly traffic jam of cars, taxis and uber/lyft drivers trying to make it to The Forum parking lot. Kudos to the bus driver who expertly maneuvered around the traffic and delivered me in record time!) The traffic after the event delayed the buses, and all cars and taxis were pretty gridlocked, so I decided to walk back to the hotel. It was a pretty easy walk in comfortable weather. (Although, I probably would not make the walk after dark.) OVERALL, I highly recommend Best Western Airpark and will definitely stay here again when I'm in the area!
This hotel is close to LAX and only 7 blocks from car rental return, and also its very easy to get on and off the 405 North and South. The bed is very comfortable in the relaxing room. The value is very impressive for the price and I will stay here again. The whole staff are very nice
On short notice- less than 2weeks I needed to find lodging to attend a conference. Given the special event (Valentine's) weekend lodging at reasonable prices hard to find and especially in an area close to destination and area appearing safe. Stay went extremely well! Internet stayed on so no constant reconnect. Room clean and cozy and mini fridge and coffee station a super perk. Continental Bkfast was enough to be filling! Parking was ample and I felt secure. Will visit again with family for LA touring next time!
The hotel is clean and the staff are fantastic. The rooms are warm and comfortable. All the appliances work and are set up for ease of use. It is located near the LAX airport and the shuttle service to and from the airport is easy to use.
The staff at this location is wonderful - always very friendly and accommodating. The site is well maintained; rooms are tidy and affordable. The surrounding neighborhood is nice and there are several restaurants within walking distance.
We stayed as a family (2 adults + 2 kids) for 2 nights over MLK weekend and had a very positive experience! We booked and prepaid for the room through Southwest vacations as part of a flight & hotel package. Check in was fast & friendly, we got a double queen room on the 3rd floor, used the elevator to bring up our bags. Parking is free for guests and so is the wifi - the wifi actually works good! Breakfast is also included and the best part is that they get a fresh box of donuts from across the street (from the famous Randy's Donut shop). We were particularly impressed with the lady that managed the breakfast room, she made sure everything was clean and in it's place, re-stocked all items as needed! She even made us fresh waffles with syrup! Our kids loved it!!! The room was very clean and house keeping did an excellent job everyday. The manager even came to breakfast and introduced himself and asked if our stay was comfortable and made himself available for questions - we were impressed! The hotel is basic, the staff were very friendly, but more importantly everything was organized & clean. Thank you!
Front desk is always so friendly, check in is always fast at this location. Housekeeping always so friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and big. Breakfast bar has lots of options. Lots of parking here.
great place for the money paid...basic accommodations. Very nice friendly service, shuttle to and from airport good and reliable. Easy and short walking distance to eating places in the area. Safe and reliable location.
You will be hard pressed to find a better staff. The building is older, but they have made the most of what they have. Modern TV, Coffee pots, chargers. Don't pass this one up, the staff make this place a gem in the rough.
The staff goes out of their way to be sure your stay is as expected. Convenient location for a show at The Forum or if you need something close to LAX. i would definitely stay here again. We could grab a quick breakfast before heading out for the day.
Great shuttle service to hotel. Although older hotel everything was exceptional and friendly service for what we needed. Breakfast very nice. Comfortable bed. Had a Pizza delivered to the room after late arrival as no restaurant at the hotel. Took a Uber to the pier as taxi service is very expensive.
Even though the hotel is not a new one, they've manage to maintain it very well. We stayed for a week and we used it as our "home-base" to see places around LA. The staff is beyond our expectations. Friendly with a big smile on their face and always willing to help and answer our questions. Included breakfast is more than you can imagine. The day we arrived, even though we new that the elevator was under upgrade and we booked on the 4th floor, two of the staff helped us to move our luggage. During our stay we always had some conversation with a staff member with a smiley face and on the last day we discovered that he was the Manager. The room is very well equipped exactly as the description. If we do again to LA, this is the hotel to stay again. TIP: One of the few decent hotels in LA with SMOKING ROOMS and reasonable price.
We stayed here on our way back home from the honeymoon as an overnight layover. The location is great, very close to LAX and walking distance to places like Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles, Randy's Donuts, Starbucks, Jamba Juice. The breakfast area is quite decent, good options. The employees are all very courteous and professional and were able to accommodate a late check-out upon request. The room itself was very nice, a good value for the money. We requested an extra towel and were brought one up almost immediately. I would like to note that we stayed at another nearby Best Western [BW Plus Suites] flying into our honeymoon, but we enjoyed our time here more when were were coming back from our trip; the interactions with employees were more genuine. The shuttle service trying to get to Plus Suites was a nightmare but it was much smoother when coming to this hotel [BW Airpark]. Overall, this is a solid option for a stay near LAX! Would stay again.
If the 3 Best Westerns in Inglewood were the 3 bears, this one would be "just right." Very convenient to LAX, the 405 freeway, LaCienega and a myriad of restaurants and stores. This one has a decent parking lot ($7 per day to keep the airport parkers out) and comfortable rooms. The staff at this BW is always friendly and accommodating. There's a Starbucks across the street in addition to a ton of nearby fast and slow food restaurants. The 405 freeway is literally 1 minute away and LAX is about 7 minutes away. Would definitely stay here again!
Beautiful modern rooms, lots of charging areas including USB slots, wide variety of breakfast items & great front desk assistance. Definitely recommend when seeking where to stay in Inglewood or attending a concert at the Forum it's very close by.
Right by the 405 Freeway, across from Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles. Good complimentary breakfast. The bed sheets were actually amazing. High quality for a last-minute booking for under $130 dollars. Friendly and helpful staff.
Better than the Hilton the night before. 1. Better Beds and bigger pillows. 2. Larger Bathroom and more and larger towells. 3. Larger Room and cleaner. 4. Free Parking 5. Very friendly and helpful. 6. Less dollars.
This hotel is pretty basic but perfectly good for the two nights we were in LA. We did not use the airport shuttle so I cannot comment on it, but it is close to lots of the drop off spots for rental cars which is partly why we chose this location. Another reason was the fact that Starline Tours pick up at the hotel, so handy. The rooms were clean and comfortable and large. The breakfast was good and lots of room for the guests there. As many have mentioned the staff make it. The manager wandered around at breakfast checking on guests and their needs and offering help. The young women at the front desk were very helpful and nice to deal with. Added good impression - when I reviewed the hotel on Google Reviews as requested, they emailed me to say thank you! So nice. The location is not the most outstanding, but we did not feel unsafe. There is a Roscoe's Chicken House across the road which was handy.
The staff were very professional and friendly. The rooms were clean but need upgrading. The elevator was out but staff made up by handling the luggage. Breakfast was tasty, I would stay again & recommend others.
I phoned the hotel for the shuttle. He drove past us . We had to phone three times. Driver didn't seemed concerned. I had prepaid the room other wise would have cancelled. Very sketchy part of town , we did not feel safe. The property looks great on the photo, is very run down . Elevator doesn't work. Would have been a big problem if we had big suitcases, simple put very shabby in a run down area. Would never stay again
Bula to Dee & Ram! Thank you for making our stay enjoyable and relaxing! We enjoyed the outstanding customer service! Lupe & Nancy provided us excellent customer service in the breakfast area. We will return for future travels!!!
Very very bad LAX shuttle service. Over 1 1/2 hours I had called the hotel for the shuttle as hundreds of other passengers caught theirs. The hotel staff redeemed some hope-the desk girl was patient and told me what vehicle to look for and she tried to get the driver to me. I saw him once -he came zooming by in a far lane, honked at another shuttle, flew past and I never saw it again --I called the hotel 4 times and weary at night I canceled my reservation due to safety concerns-I became afraid of possibly climbing in with that driver if he did show up and inaccessability. The girl at the desk canceled the stay for me without any charge and I was able to find another hotel with a shuttle that arrived within 30 minutes.
This Best Western is conveniently located near LAX. They offer shuttle service to and from the airport. For breakfast they serve hot coffee , waffles,Randy's Donuts, and more. The beds are comfy and they give you lots of pillows and extra blankets upon request. I also enjoyed the hot tub during my stay. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly offering anything you may need from water bottles to pool towels. Overall I had a great stay.
Convenient to airport. Actually a little more than what we had expected. Room was clean; staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast room was a big plus! Completely met our needs. Not really close to major activities of LA, but with rental car we were able to get around pretty easily.
It's very rundown and far from the airport. It would be ok, if it were cheap, but it isn't. It's my fault for not reading the reviews more carefully. Don't make the same mistake! It's shabby, there aren't any extra blankets, the tv is terrible, it's loud, etc., etc. It gets a star because the people were pleasant.
The location of this hotel is very convenient and my room was very clean. The staff was polite and helpful. The express checkout was an extreme plus.I have no complaints about my stay, i would definitely stay there again.
Excellent front desk service during a complication I had with checking in. The exterior may look a little dated but the rooms are nicely updated and clean. Close to airport w/ free shuttle and Roscoes Chicken & Waffles across the street!
This is in a tough part of town, but I did feel secure. It looks like a converted Motel, not your typical Best Western. Breakfast was awful, not up to BW standards bu a long shot. I stay in a lot of Best Westerns. This was not the best.
I stay here for every LA Ram home game, Ramsfest picnic, Training Camp, any event really that I need to travel down south to LA for. I'm a season ticket holder and this is the perfect location for me. Right off the freeway, across the street from Roscoe's down the road from Randy's Donuts, we've got a convenience store at the corner, it doesn't get much better than this. Service is excellent, breakfast comes in a large variety, I'm a very satisfied Best Western loyal customer. Thank you for your excellent service! GO Rams!
Very good stay. the room was very clean. the bathroom was very clean compared to other hotels we have stayed at. The staff was very good once we got there and had to check in. Even though we got there late the staff was helpful and kind. The breakfast itself was very good as well. It was your typical eggs and sausage breakfast with juice and coffee to match. overall, a good experience.
We had a king smoking room and it was Nice. We loved the Keurig coffee maker! Room was very clean and the house keeper did great job for turndown. The breakfast choices were very adequate cereals, fruit, pastries, eggs, sausage, bacon and favorite waffle maker. The hotel is located by a highway and near airport but we had no complaints about any noise from them. It was a great location for our travel around the LA area for our 5 days. The staff was very friendly! The area looks a little sketchy but we visited several stores with no issues. You need to visit Randy's doughnuts for excellent sweet snacks 24-7.
Free lift to hotel by shuttle bus. The breakfast was hot and fresh. If you love to enjoy watching jets land the hot tub is a perfect spot to do this from. The front desk was amazing. We used the bus to get around to downtown. The bus stop was right in the front of the hotel. GM Dee was very helpful.
The facility is located closed to the airport. Pickup services are provided which makes traveling to the facility easy and convenient once you arrive. Moreover, the General Manager and his staff are great folks. They are customer oriented and pleasant to work with.
Arrived at 11pm at the airport and had to wait over an hour for the shuttle to pick us up. In the meantime I saw about 5-6 shuttles from all other hotels come and go. Driver was very friendly though. Our room was advertised as a non-smoking room and was not! My child and I could not sleep because of the very strong smell of cigarette smoke that gave us headaches, people slamming doors all night, constant sirens and police activity, and just the fact that we didn't feel safe at this location. I have stayed at Best Western hotels and NEVER had such a horrible experience. The hotel reminded me of a creepy motel in the worst part of town. I will not stay here again, and I am hoping to get a refund for the fact alone that the cigarette smoke made us sick and made all of our luggage stink! We would've been better of staying at the airport until our next flight, and sleeping on the floor- I'm serious!! At least it's safe there, and not as loud!! I'm hoping management can make other people's experience a lot better in the future. The breakfast attendant and the shuttle driver were very friendly but they alone cannot change this place!
At first we would like yo thank the general Manager he is soo friendly. At our first night there were missunderstandings but he was so kind and helped us with this issue. The beds were very comfortable. We couldnt use the pool because it was to windy for us but the pool area is very sweet. Parking fee is 7 $ per night. The breakfast was great, warm waffles, eggs, saussages, bacon, fresh fruits, juice... the best thing was, that they have randy donuts. İ do not give the full stars because it was half an hour away from everything (by car). İt is a gerat hotel for stayimg one night and going to the airport but if you wanna travell around LA it is a little bit far away. Another plus is, you have a few restaurants very close to the hotel.
We booked the hotel for location & prior stays at other Best Western location. Right next to freeway (convenient), but no noise. Price was quite high for this hotel. Room and bed was super comfy. However don't like exterior corridors where you can hear people walking and talking outside which echoes throughout the area. Pool not heated. Parking very tight. Had good breakfast options. Staff was friendly & good service. I would stay again
This isn't the Ritz but it is clean and comfortable. I felt safe. Good shower, nice bed. The staff was very helpful to me by loaning me a pair of pliers so I could fix my suitcase. We left early (6:00 a.m.) before the dining area was open for breakfast. The desk clerk supplied us with a breakfast bag to go.
A 3 - 3.5-star property with 5-star employees. It's increasingly rare to find a mid-range hotel where employees go out of their way to make you feel welcome, and seem to genuinely appreciate your business. BW Airpark is a stand-out example. Frankly, it's an older property, but very well-maintained, with spotlessly clean rooms and public areas. The décor of the recently remodeled guest rooms feels a bit utilitarian to me. But again, everything is clean and we're just staying overnight, not moving in. :) What makes us return here again and again, is the people. Every employee with whom we've spoken here seems to really care about guest satisfaction. From the front desk check-in agent to the manager, who dropped by every table in the breakfast room to ask the guests if they were enjoying their stay. This is our go-to hotel for overnight stays before or after long LAX flights.
All rooms have a heavy cigarette odor avoid this hotel. My partner had a severe asthma attack in the front desk staff said they could do nothing about it. Only thing good was the breakfast which was a standard Best Western free breakfast
We stayed here before and after long flights to and from China. Our room was clean and seemed like it had recently been updated with new carpet and furniture. The bed was very comfortable. The shuttle service to LAX is excellent as it leaves every hour. The pick up from the airport is more difficult to rate because of the construction and airport traffic. We did wait longer than we would have liked on our return trip but the traffic was horrible. Front desk is welcoming. Breakfast has many choices, including fresh fruit. There is a full time staff person in breakfast area cleaning tables and refilling items. I would definitely stay here again.
The pictures on the site are very misleading, including 1 that is a pool from another hotel (Best Western Plus). When our travel plans were delayed for a couple of days and we needed to stay near the airport, we took a cab and just picked a random BW since we've always had good luck with this hotel chain. It looks like a rundown scary dump with no visible security and easy access to anyone off the street. The lady at reception was rude and the prices were about the same as much nicer hotels in the airport area. I can't comment on the room because we hopped back in a cab and stayed elsewhere.
My husband and I spent two nights. Hotel staff was super helpful and friendly. The airport shuttle for our early morning flight was great ~ Picked us up at the Car Rental spot after we dropped off our car, and got us to the airport in plenty of time for our flight. Nice outdoor pool and hot tub area, very nice complimentary breakfast with eggs, sausage and bacon, etc. in addition to the usual. Newly decorated room with a comfortable bed and furnishings. Restaurants within walking distance, too. Al little noisy outside, but hey, it's close to a major airport, and that's the point! Highly recommend it!
Such a great experience staying at this hotel. Very friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms. A lot of variety in breakfast selection. The pool is big and secure for kids. They have airport shuttle service.
The pictures for this listing are much nicer than the reality. Rooms are clean and spacious but walls are battered and patched with peeling paint. The hotel has seen better days and is in dire need of some TLC in the rooms. Sink did not drain and toilet ran noisily intermittently. There are placards in the rooms warning that there is no smoking, and yet you can smell marijuana as you walk by some rooms. Makes me wonder if, being California, political correctness does not allow them to confront pot smokers, but they can hit cigarette smokers with a several hundred dollar fine. Both shuttle drivers (at pick up at the airport and return to the airport) were fantastic. Several employees and other areas of the hotel were great. The young girls working the reception desk in the evening we're a little rough around the edges – kind of like dealing with Rosie Perez at check-in. Keurig machine in the room was a plus, as was the refrigerator and microwave. Included breakfast was simple but good. Price was lower than many of the hotels in the area. Generally an “OK“ stay.
This motel is located just outside the freeway from LAX, but the neighborhood is acceptable and the parking is free. The motel is a little shopworn but it is clean and a good bargain for the price. (Again, unlike most facilities inside the freeway, there is no charge for parking!!)
We needed a room for the night and we had stayed at Best Western properties before so we felt comfortable picking this one. As Best Westerns go, this one was fine except for the courtesy shuttle service. I called from the baggage claim and was told to wait at the courtesy van pick up site. The van never showed up. We waited an hour and I called more than once. Finally a van from another BW came by and took us to our hotel. Also, while the room was OK, the bed stand stuck out from the bed so my wife and I kept bumping our leg into it, sometimes quite painfully. I have to downgrade the room because of this.
This BW is less than 5 minutes from the airport. They have friendly staff members, warm breakfast, clean rooms, If you are heading out of LAX or coming in late and you don't want to battle traffic... This is your stop!!!
After a transatlantic flight I like to spend a night quietly in a hotel near LAX, but they've got so expensive. This is a little further away, but it's clean and well priced and the rooms are of a good size and are spotless. Added bonus is breakfast is included. If there is a downside the only restaurant close by is just across the road and wasn't very good, but the room has a list of delivery restaurants that will send out.
Friendly service great room lots of space in room and clean. Front desk lady was able to help me and understood my needs and made me feel like home. If your looking for a peaceful night and affordable price you don't have to look any further
The hotel room was clean and mostly renovated. The hotel is an older hotel. The shuttle is free BUT only leaves once an hour at the top of the hour. Takes about 7 minutes to get from hotel to airport @6am on a Sunday. Was surprised of the room, it was pretty nice, bed was nice and firm, has fridge, coffee maker, microwave. Was great for a layover stay
This Was Not a Good Stay. We arrived a bit later then most do to long travel, we noticed sink was draining very slow and refrigerator was off and not working ... but we were pretty tired ... we did smell pot in elevator. About 5:00 a.m. heard loud talking, did not sleep very well, @ 10:15 went to office to let them know about slow sink and refrigerator. They said they would sent someone to check. When we arrived back later @ 7:40p.m. People were outside on the deck by our room. The sink was still draining very slow, the frig was working. That was Saturday night we again smelled pot, keep in mind this is a No Smoking room. Went to sleep and at 2:30 heard loud talking, another poor nights sleep. Went to the office @9:30a.m. And told the new front person about the sink she said they will clean the room next to ours and move us there; my wife called Best Western Booking and was able to cancel the last night in Inglewood. We wen't instead to the Best Western plus in Torrance and we had a completely different experience. That Hotel in Torrance on Torrance Blvd, is very clean, quiet, excellent breakfast, with a friendly staff. We Will Not stay at the Inglewood Hotel again.
Stayed at this hotel following 18 hour flights return to the US. Just wanted to spend one night before continuing journey home. The lady at the desk was friendly and courteous, the driver of the van was on time and helped with my luggage. The room was clean and fresh and comfortable. A very comfortable stay for me; I was simply exhausted when I arrived. This place was like an oasis in a desert! Breakfast the next morning was great; fresh items on the buffet and the coffee superb. Then a ride back to the airport. I put this place on my "definite return to" agenda. If you're looking for a break in long travel plans, this is the place.
Staff were great and the room was large and clean and well equipped. The shuttle was good and the location was very good with interesting eating choices. Parking was ok but the breakfast could be so much better at a motel that charges this much for a room. Surprisingly quiet for an airport motel.
Excellent layover near LAX. Our room was very quiet even though it faced a busy street. The shuttle is very accommodating, but only goes to the airport on the hour. They own there van, and have drivers working 24/7. Some hotel hire a service. We left before breakfast, but we're offered a to-go bag with snacks. Very clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend!
They offered good service and the staff was very friendly. They had breakfast which was convenient. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, which was a plus. Check-in and check-out was a breeze which made it easy.
I had a great time at this hotel. Rooms were very clean and spacious. The free breakfast had a lot of variety and it actually tasted great. My children and I felt safe and there was a lot to do and see in the neighborhood. The free airport shuttle was also a great convenience for us. Overall I would have to say it was one of the most best hotel experiences I've ever had.
The hotel was super close to the Forum. They also provide a free airport shuttle. The room was very clean and the bed was comfy. The breakfast was hot and hearty, and the staff went out of their way to make my stay pleasant. Thank u Miguel & Iris.
Breakfast was the best ! Room was up to date nice area ! Felt at home thankful for places like this ! My go to hotel for any stay in LA worth every penny and they were very economical thank you guys for a great stay !
Wasn't good, wasn't bad just MEH! We stayed in a room with a jacuzzi tub. Water was hot, jets worked but when turning on jets, strong smell of sulfur. EEWWW! BE CAREFUL OF GETTING INTO JACUZZI & ESPECIALLY GETTING OUT. Absolutely nothing to hold onto, the jacuzzi is at an angel so you need someone to assist you. The bathroom toilet is very low to the ground so if you're tall or have bad knees you'll need some help getting up. The shower was hot & they did provide a non slip tub mat. The shower head, very little movement. I had to stand at the end of the tub just to get aleast my chest wet. The only way I could shower was with a cup and pour it down my body. Obviously shower head needs to be changed. They do have an outdoor pool & jacuzzi but it's in the back and it didn't look safe. We arrrived when they were bringing in new furniture to every room. It was nice but it was IKEA quality. The refrigerator froze our food, the bed was of poor quality, lumpy, no support & made noise with movement. The hotel is right next to the 405 freeway so you can hear & see traffic. EVERY MORNING we woke up to the sound of NON STOP HONKING. The parking lot spaces are small & narrow. They have another parking lot but I wouldn't make that walk at night by myself. I STRONGLY recommend eating is right across the street at, ROSCOS CHICKEN & WAFFLE! AMAZING! It was pack from the second it opened to closing time. (Check out my review for further details.) We ordered Chicago Ribs (Found It off GrubHub) good ribs but corn bread was dry.
Chose this b/c it has a 24 hr. airport shuttle and is only about 2 mi. from LAX. Did not expect the quality provided for the very moderate price. Larger-than average room refrig., good bedding, desk w/ good internet setup, shuttle efficient, with cheerful drivers. Two family-type restaurants across the street. Try "Roscoe's" for the fried chicken. No other dining or shopping within walking distance. Liked the clean, lightweight bed cover, which indicates it is actually WASHED between guests, or at least frequently. Only disappointment was the TV programming.Very limited for a hotel at an international airport--no business networks, no respected cable news channels, which is important to us during travel, especially with no other activities nearby. Except for that, this will be our hotel of choice while overnighting at LAX.
Comfortable location near the Forum. Clean and safe! Free Wi-Fi, parking and breakfast. Right off freeway and friendly staff. Only place I stay when going to concerts there. Rooms are clean with amenities and fridge and microwave. Bed was spacious and comfortable.
Iris and "Ram" (the van driver from Fiji) were incredibly helpful in the morning when I needed to leave on the 06:00 a.m. shuttle to the airport. I arrived in the lobby around 05:40 and asked if I could get something from the breakfast room early since it opened at 06:00 when the shuttle was scheduled to leave. No problem. Ram let me in and let me gather whatever I needed for breakfast. He heated some bacon and asked if I would like some. I really appreciate the small business mentality of not getting hung up on the scheduled opening time for breakfast and instead working with what was available to them and making a decision on the spot. I was even able to have a fresh "Randy's" donut that Ram had picked up earlier in the morning.Keep up the good work! Thanks.
My husband and I stayed here for one night before and one night after our cruise. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and with general manager Deepak Kumar they all made our stay wonderful, helping us with suggestions on restaurants and shopping. Deepak also arranged affordable transportation to the port for us. Kathy and Tony.
Pleasantly surprised with the hotel, staff, room, and hot tub/pool area. Without knowing what to expect, we were pleased to find our room was clean, nicely decorated and appears the room and bathroom were recently remodeled. Plenty of towels and wash clothes. AC worked great. Being close to airport did not interfere with being able to sleep, although we could hear planes in the distance. The hot tub/pool area was clean and relaxing. Breakfast was typical breakfast, but was replenished immediately. Staff were all wonderful and went above and beyond to assist - called to make sure we had everything we needed, manager followed up to see if stay was good, food attendant served guests waffles or other items. Shuttle service hourly on the hour to and from the airport. Randy's Donuts within walking distance, Roscoe's across the street, Starbucks down from Roscoe's and a Mexican restaurant. We only tried Randy's Donuts.
I've certainly stayed at better Best Westerns than the Airpark Hotel location. I didn't feel completely safe in the area and would not have stayed there if traveling alone. The parking sucked and the breakfast was just ok. The staff was stellar either.
There was Cigarette smoke in the non-smoking room. I talked to the on-site manager --- they were incapable; they could not prevent the cigarette smoke in the room; so I posted it on their hotel room review. Don't stay there if you have cigarette smoke issues.
My wife and I had a great stay at this particular hotel. The facilities fulfilled our needs and the staff was great. The organization is led by a very knowledgeable and professional General Manager, Dee Kuman. He definitely worked hard to make our experience a pleasant one.
Nice to get off work and have a nice clean place to go. Will definitely be staying here again. Nice people nice place all around, Clean rooms Comfy beds Internet good breakfast as well. No where else like this in the area
I liked this Best Western because it was close to the airport, had an airport shuttle, had a very good breakfast and also because the manager came to talk to me in the morning at breakfast. He wanted to see if everything was ok. I really liked this personal touch. I had one of the best nights rest on their extremely comfortable beds.
I love staying here because out of all hotels I've stayed at, this place has the most caring staff. I hardly ever have to wait to get checked in. They usually get me settled into a room right away. Any issue I've ever had was met immediately and to my satisfaction. The breakfast is amazing and they offer a variety of things to choose from. This hotel really cares for their customers.
My husband and I stayed for 1 night on 10/1 after flying into LAX. To our surprise the hotel was much nicer and cleaner than we expected. The room was spacious, clean and ready when we checked in. The breakfast the next morning was also nice. Everything from eggs, bacon, sausage juice milk waters cereal donuts from a local bakery you name it they had it. The woman who was handling the breakfast was super friendly and made everyone feel welcomed and even helped anyone who wasn't familiar with the waffle maker. Would definitely return if needed for a quick night while flying into lax
We always stay at this hotel before we fly home to Australia. Friendly staff, clean rooms & airport shuttle. The pool is always clean and relaxing. Great value hotel close to LAX. The location is safe and Roscoe's is across the street for chicken and waffles. There is a Westfield shopping centre not far away, $6 to$8 via Lyft or Uber, nice place to shop.
My brother and I were taking a Californian road trip and I booked here because it was close enough to walk to pick up our car. We were really pleased with our choice too, we had a large room that was clean, comfortable with extremely good complimentary toiletries. The shower was excellent, as were the larger than average thick towels. The breakfast room was large enough and expertly run by two members of staff who were friendly and helpful and the choice of items were the best we encountered on our whole trip (especially the local donuts from across the street). The pool looked very nice although we didn't use it. Miguel on the front desk was friendly and professional when I called for the shuttle to collect us from LAX at 10pm and although we did have a 30 minute wait due to the chaotic travel everything else on our one night stay was perfect. This will definitely be my first choice for next time
The hotel needs some updates, but the place is clean and located in and area with plenty of famous restaurants and easy highway access. We made reservation in July of 2017 but due to death in my family it's taken me along time to write this review. The manager of this hotel has stayed on my mind because of his kindness. We couldn't get a flight out until late and he allowed us to stay until 2 pm. The breakfast is very nice and there is a pool for relaxation. I would definitely go back when we visit again. Everyone there was extremely helpful in telling us about the wonderful places we could visit.
I wasn't sure about the BW Airpark but chose this hotel because it was the most reasonable at the time (July 19) and the fact that they had a shuttle. My daughters and I were so pleased and happy we stayed there. Rooms were clean, restaurants nearby, area was safe, and though it was on a busy street, our room was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was as good as if we had gone to a restaurant. The Manager even came in to the breakfast room to see if everyone enjoyed their stay.
I was hotel shopping on line and not sure where to stay. I found the Best Western and based on the name, pictures and location by the airport. I decided to book it. The price was fair and we were very happy to find how clean and safe the area is. The host at the lobby provided excellent service and answered all of our questions. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast provided by the hotel and the lady that made sure everything was available and fresh. The hotel manager even came in to check that everything was satisfactory. The pool and hot tub were well kept and felt so good after a long tourist day before. I would definitely stay again! Thank you to all the friendly staff members.
If you are on your way out to L.A via the airport this is the best and closest location to choose from. Superb team of nice smiling people, Comfortable large rooms with a great pool and jacuzzi area. just what you need before take off. Enjoy!
Our room looked freshly remodeled and the room was clean. Bathroom had a few problems. Was farther from the airport than would have liked as had to get up really early to catch our flight. There are not many places to eat around there and the ones that are there are across the very busy street. We had to leave so early that did not get breakfast. Was nice having a shuttle to and from the airport. The young men that were manning the front desk were very nice and helpful.
I was traveling with two teenage German girls. They were delighted with the WiFi as they needed to check in with their families in Germany. they were delighted to find Nutella offered at breakfast as well as yogurt and fresh fruit. Our room was very clean and quiet and the parking was excellent. Everyone we encountered was polite and helpful. It was a great experience!
Drove from Vegas to take in laws to LAX for an 11pm flight. Check in is at 1pm which was very convenient especially when traveling with elderly people. Was able to rest before heading to airport. Used an Uber to get to airport - but used the shuttle to get back to hotel. Very quick and friendly. Hotel is very clean and all of the staff were extremely friendly. Husband had breakfast and he said it was excellent. Only downer was the noisy neighbors above late at night but not the hotels fault. If I ever need a night in the area again I would stay here!
Great rates, close to airport, breakfast was great, manager made us feel safe about our car in the parking lot. Very clean, handicap accessible. Enough parking, elevator. Check in was fast and efficient.
We swam for an hour between 3:00 pm and 4:00 pm after a day of shopping and bargain-hunting at Santee Alley. Water was great, and we even sat in the large Jacuzzi for a bit, glad to be out of traffic.
I extremely appreciate everyone at the hotel service was excellent & very high standard.. looking forward to my return very soon in the near future since my experience at the hotel was a super good one
My sister and I flew in from different cities, meeting at the hotel for the night before getting on a cruise the next day. The hotel wasn't special. The location, as it relates to the ship terminal, was very good. The food choices close to the hotel were minimal. The staff was fine. Now for the title of this review. Unfortunately, an unregistered guest died after arriving from an overseas location after a long flight. Due to two clots, I was assured that he was dead before he hit the ground. The hotel clerk provided only minimal assistance beyond calling 911. Another guest in the lobby (a doctor from another country) and I provided CPR for more than 8 minutes before the arrival of the ambulance. My drama had nothing to do with the quality of the hotel; my rating strictly applies to the averageness of the hotel -- nothing bad and nothing great.
Needed a place to stay close to the forum, just a couple miles away. Clean, convenient and comfortable stay. The staff was very nice. Iris, front desk, very welcoming, she told me the hotel has a $7.00 dollar per night parking fee, however, because I'm a Best Western rewards member, the fee is waived. Check out is 11:00, I needed extra time for check out because I was not feeling well, I asked for a noon check-out and Iris generously gave me until 12:30 pm. Breakfast is good there and it's from 6 to 9am. Arrived at breakfast about 9:05 and to my surprise, I was greeted with "Good Morning" by another of your friendly staff, Lupe. Lupe told me to take whatever I would for breakfast and take my time. Thank you Lupe!! When I needed more towels in my room I came across Margaret, I told her I did not need the room cleaned, I just needed more towels and with a smile she handed me the towels. She did tell me the section my room was in was noton her list to clean, however, she will let that person know . She did ask if I needed my trash cans emptied, and she want to say, if it was anything I needed to let her know. Hotel has clean, comfortable beds and it's in a fairly good location. Worth the money!!
I have stayed at this hotel last year when I came for business trip. It was awesome stay.Staff was excellent.Service was great.I would recommend this hotel to everyone.Overall I would give it 10 out of 10.Good thing is cleanliness.
This hotel is a veritable oasis, offering excellent service, great value, superb service and exceptional management. One of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed at, it features extensive free parking, safe and easy access to I-405 and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
A very clean and reliable Hotel. Prices are great and staff awesome. Close to LAX and 405 Freeway. They have an airport shuttle too. Second time we have stayed there. Will be back again!! Front desk staff great!!
The rooms are what you might expect, functional not fancy. The tv remote did not work but was replaced upon request. The breakfast included was excellent. large variety and items were fresh. Pleasantly surprised.
Easy access off the 405 in Inglewood. Close to LAX. Comfortable. Better accommodations than I expected. Some entry doors are shielded within an alcove shared with the room next door, which I prefer than the totally outside exposed door. The amenities and decor in the room were nice, clean, and well arranged. The bed and pillows were a comfortable combination. The breakfast was over the top better than I expected...wait, it's even better than better, they serve Randy's Doughnuts! Randy's is a quarter-mile down Manchester from the property, an easy walk, but how convenient that they bring Marvel Iron Man's favorite post-super-hero-action snack into the Breakfast Room! The staff are professional and courteous. Check out was outstanding because Iris and Dee Manager were very helpful and lively conversationalists. Come stay. Enjoy the Randy's Doughnuts. Say hello to Iris.
My family flew in for our wedding and stayed at this property for four nights. I stayed here the night before the wedding. We were really pleased with the property. It seemed to have been fairly updated; the rooms were spacious; wifi worked great; breakfast was good! The staff, especially at the front desk, were all great as well. The only drawback I could see was that several members of my family had issues with their keys not working and had to repeatedly go back to the front desk for new ones. It is located right off the 405 freeway, and you can get a bit of noise coming from that so if you're a light sleeper, I'd recommend bringing a white noise machine or something.
The manager Dee and iris are very warm welcoming the staff is the best. Very clean. The pool is clean near local restaurants children friendly one of the best hotels I've stayed in. Breakfast is good very quiet very safe
I stayed at the BW for a quick overnighter between flights. Checking in late at night - the front desk staff were cheerful and so very helpful to this weary traveller. Checking out the next morning, since I had a bit of time before the free airport shuttle left, the front desk young lady offered to store my bag so I could go have a bit of breakfast while waiting for the shuttle - offered without my even asking. Room was clean and comfortable and, the rare find in USA, a smoking room. This will be my go-to Best Western in LAX area for all future business travel.
This location is not far from LAX, with close freeway access. Highlights were the breakfast which had both continental and hot Items (waffles, eggs, sausage, bacon) - very good! Clean room with microwave and fridge, Keurig coffee maker, safe & fast wi-fi.
It is a really clean hotel, the staff is excellent, especially Lupe, very kind and helpful, the breakfast has hot items, and it is very good. The hotel needs some updates on furniture, but it is nice anyway
In need of a place near LAX overnight, I selected the Best Western Airpark Hotel. Here is why it was a fair choice. Located on a vibrant and diverse section of Manchester Blvd., the BWAH is a short tax ride or 20 minute walk from the car rental return area; I enjoyed the walk. The check-in was easy and the manager with trainee behind the counter were friendly and efficient. The room, a single with king, was spacious with a city view. The desk space had electric outlets but could benefit from USB outlets, too. The room was clean and well prepared, but... For me, the bed was unpleasantly stiff while the pillows were mushy. The street noise was probably acceptable and I may not have noticed it were it not for the person in the room above me who was active from 2:30am and beyond. The airport shuttle left promptly at 5:00am and I was at the terminal within minutes (I missed breakfast.) Were it not for the night's sleep, I'd be raving.
My daughter in law left her wallet on the seat in the shuttle, it pulled away and now they claim they don't have it. We know it's there. The front desk staff is rude, room is smelly and not a good part of town. Very upset with the situation, especially being that my Marines dog tags are in that wallet! Ridiculous, keep the cash but give it back.
We chose this hotel because of the reviews. We found staff to be friendly, room was clean, bed was comfortable. Breakfast room was clean and well stocked; choices good. Shuttle pickup and drop off was a plus. This hotel provided all that we need during our stay. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to all.
Picked this hotel for 2 nights on arrival in LA before starting our road trip. Check-in was good with helpful, friendly staff. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Coffee in reception was a life saver on arrival. The room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was also clean - no complaints. Breakfast was a very good selection with something for everyone and the lady looking after it kept everything well stocked up. Would we stay here again if visiting L A? A definite yes!
The stand out at this hotel is the friendliness of the staff from the Manager down. The manager sets the tone here and you will often see him pushing a broom or talking to the guests, to ensure all is well. We asked for a later checkout and he came to a very amicable arrangement with us, the receptionist was lovely and the driver of the shuttle a real credit to his employer. This really sets the tone for a place. The Airpark Hotel is built like any motel, but there any similarities end. The rooms are quite large and clean, with all the amenities you could want. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty and there was coffee available 24/7. There are some fast food restaurants around and a very nice Mexican called Cafe Cancun just a six minute walk, (turn left out of hotel and cross the road, over the bridge, you will see it right in front of you). I will certainly return the next time I need an airport hotel in LA.
It's the simplest Best Western we have been so far. Not bad but not good neither. Didn't try the breakfast. Location is good if you need to stay close to the airport. The place looked clean, shower was ok. Pricey for what you get.
We arrived after a long flight from Australia, and after the free shuttle transfer, they suggested dropping our bags and grabbing some breakfast before it ended, even before finishing check in. Also let us know that we could pickup a breakfast bag in the morning as we were checking out before the breakfast would be served. The place is a little dated but everything worked and was clean. Rooms we stayed in were large and included a microwave and fridge.
The best thing going for this hotel is its proximity to LAX and the free shuttle that runs to the airport hourly. It is not as expensive as many of the nicer hotels in the area and that is reflected in hotel upkeep and cleanliness. We requested a quiet room, but were given one right next to the freeway. Nothing in the bathroom functioned correctly: the sink did not drain, the toilet ran all night and the shower had no pressure. Its cleanliness was adequate, but no more than that. Would recommend only if you are on a budget and need the shuttle-just keep your expectations in line with the price.
The room was fine, clean, quiet. Refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker. Reception staff was friendly. The breakfast was the usual preformed round scrambled egg, sausage patty, bacon, freshly made waffle. cereal, yogurt, juice and coffee. I would stay here again. I did not like that it took 15 minutes to get from the airport to the hotel, and that you have to phone for the shuttle. It doesn't run continuously.
I booked 3 rooms for our overnight layover. My parents arrived at LAX 45 minutes before we did and they were still waiting for the shuttle when we got there even though they had called. I was told 25 minutes when I called myself. Turns out that their driver was not there and they were using the van from another BW hotel, but they did nit tell us until I called back to inquire about the shuttle. We got to the hotel close to midnight for a 5AM pickup.Needless to say the guy at the front desk apologized, but was not cognizant of the fact that they needed to mention about the different van, just kep pointing out that it said BW on it. The hotel itself is out of the way and we passed by other airport hotels. Also, there were people hanging out in the corridor drinking and the place felt unsafe. We had set up a 5AM shuttle to the airport. Once we got there in the morning, there were a dozen people and once the driver showed up, it became apparent that we would not fit in the 9 passenger van, even though I had asked (the same guy) at the front desk if the shuttle was all good. At this point, past 5AM, he started to scramble and call another hotel for a shuttle. We sorted out the situation ourselves with the driver and 11 of us squeezed into the van since we had a 6:30 flight and were cutting it close. I cannot recommend this hotel at all for LAX and would not recommend period, when there are other places to stay nearby.
We stayed there for three nights while visiting L.A. and Universal. Even though it was pretty far from Universal Studios, we enjoyed the fact that it was close to the airport. The breakfast was good: we could even make our own waffles. Our bedrooms were clean and we slept well (maybe the fact that we were super tired helped us) even though the planes fly very low around there (that comes with being close to an airport). Be aware that the acces to the parking lot has an 11' feet clearance: we were a little bit worried that our high roof sprinter van (plus gear on top) would not pass, but hey, we had an extra 6 inches! Haha what relief.
The staff we're AWESOME! Located near LAX airport, also provides free shuttle bus to the airport. The breakfast was good! The room was always cleaned and bed sheets were changed when we got back to the room. Great place to stay at!
My stay at Best Western hotel was a very comfortable and relaxing setting amenities all clean and working. Room service was delicious and delivered promptly. I would recommend to family and friends hospitality was great.
Decent room but we felt a little over priced. Waited a long time (over 30 minutes) for the airport shuttle to arrive. Hotel is older. Breakfast was average at best. For the price we paid I would likely not stay here again.
My family of 4 people, just off the carnival cruise ship and stay in LA BW near airport because we have an early flight. Did not know the shuttle leave every hour. We got to the airport early enough to wait for our flight. That's fine. I would not stay in this BW again, because after a day of shopping, we got back to the room and tired, found the bathtub drainage does not work well. We did not bother to take a shower as we have early flight and our senior parents need to sleep early. So, no shower for us during the stay.
I stayed in Best western Airpark hotel with my family. The ambiance and the overall experience with the staff is appreciable and I would like to recommend this place to my friends as well.the place is located near airport and approachable to city and other site seeing spots.
There is absolutely no reason to stay here. It is far from airport, in a sketchy neighborhood and it is old and musty with a breakfast that is marginal at best with coffee that is tasteless. who are all those people staying there anyways? Try elsewhere. Pay a few dollars more and you will be much happier.
i pick this hotel because it is close to the LAX airport with shuttle service and close to UCLA. The rooms are clean and comfortable. it has breakfast. the staff is always very nice and helpful and the rates are very good. it's always my first choice.
Stayed here during a overnight lay over at LAX. Everything went smoothly from the shuttle pick up to checking out. Miguel at the front desk went above and beyond by upgrading my room and being friendly. I loved the room and there is a gas station and a good late night restaurant right across the street. I had a good rest and was happy I chose to stay here.
We travelled as a wider family group of 10 in October. They provided an excellent Airport Shuttle as we flew to Las Vegas in between 6 nights stay at this hotel either side. Dee - the Manager was brilliant and held some of our luggage safe whilst we travelled to Vegas. We had no problems and enjoyed the central location to get about. Hotel was fully functional and had very helpful staff all round. Breakfast was just fine too for those who enjoy a continental touch.
I had a very early flight so I needed to stay at a hotel near LAX. The Best Western Airpark provided everything I needed for my stay: a well-furnished room with a comfortable queen-size bed (two, in fact), a large bathroom with a shower, a flat screen TV, and a coffee and tea maker. And the hotel had its own shuttle, with an attentive driver who made sure that I my airline;s entrance at 5:15 a.m. safe and sound. What more could I ask?
The hotel is dated, but clean. Beds were comfortable & the shower was strong. There is a free shuttle to & from the Airport, & the journey in the morning took 20 minutes due to heavy traffic. Staff at reception were super friendly & helpful. There was nothing much to eat in terms of restaurants & we were uncomfortable to wander around in the night as it seemed unsafe. The Receptionist offered to order pizzas on our behalf & we were able to eat our dinner in the Reception area. Coffee & cold water are available free in the Reception area. The use of the computer & printer were an added bonus. Breakfast was good with hot & cold beverages, cereals, breads, doughnuts & waffles. The manager came into the dining room to greet us at breakfast, ensuring everything was alright - what a lovely gesture! Bottled water was available for our day trip. All in all, a very pleasant stay.
While the area was a little sketchy, and the exterior of the hotel and the elevator were a bit seedy, the room was clean and spacious and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I was concerned when I first arrived, but my fears were quickly allayed after speaking with the front desk clerk. Every employee went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. I would definitely recommend the hotel if you can get past the area where it's located. (So close the airport though!)
good for the price and location, very kind and caring staff the manager was very helpful and tried to do everything he could.... the next time we will definitely consider this hotel buy-buy-buy----best western best western
The girl on reception was really nice and had us booked in in no time. The room was clean and the bed comfy, it was ideal for the 2 nights we were there. Breakfast had plenty of options and the lady in charge was really nice, she is a credit to the hotel. The car park was $7 a night but it is essential in the area so it is well worth it. We didn't pick our car up until 11pm so the short drive to the hotel was a blessing. Would definitely stay there again.
Very pleased with our decision to stay at the Airpark. Easy Uber ride to the Forum for a concert. Noticed that they offer LAX shuttle service. Room with 2 double beds was clean and comfortable. While we did not use it, the pool area looked inviting. It's across the street from a Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles restaurant and super close to the famous Randy's Donuts! Would definitely stay here again!
The staff was wonderful, very kind, helpful and attentive. They answered all of our questions and even held our bags after we checked out. The breakfast had a great variety, great tasting and was hot and fresh. Pool area looked nice too but we didn't have time to go in! Also bottled water was provided for free at the front desk. The room was average however. It didn't have a fresh smell and had a few spots that could have been cleaner. But the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. This location is in need of a renovations to match the beautiful lobby and dining area, but overall a great place to stay!
My stay was a very pleasant one. Everything was clean and comfortable. The staff was polite, friendly and professional from check-in to check out. The hotel is very conveniently located to the LAX airport , 405 freeway, the famous Randy's doughnut shop and great places to eat such as the famous Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles directly across the street from the hotel. I would recommend this hotel for business and leisure travelers.
Hotel Room was not very clean, Room lamps were busted. We were supplied half full and used shampoo and lotion. Area location is not so enticing. When we checked in and got out of the elevator on the 4th floor trash bags were all over the hall way.
My friends and I were staying just the one night. There's nothing particularly outstanding about the hotel, but it was clean, comfortable and provided breakfast and an airport shuttle, so everything we needed for our stay. The beds were very comfy and considering it was near a main road, it was very quiet and we felt safe. The staff were friendly and helpful and were happy to store our luggage for us once we had checked out, so we could make the most of our time exploring. It's not particularly close, in terms of walking distance, to any amenities, but I would happily stay here again for a longer period of time if we had a car.
Working in LA often I stay at Best Western whenever possible for the free breakfast, wi-fi and usually parking. This hotel is one of 3 BWs close to LAX. I chose it specifically because the parking is not visible from the street and has a back lot where I could safely park a vehicle full of equipment. They do charge $7 per night for parking but as I'm a BW Rewards member they comped that fee. The hotel was clean and the room was well equipped with a Keurig coffee maker, fridge and microwave. Breakfast is decent and had eggs, sausage and bacon on the buffet. Staff is extremely friendly, professional and helpful and went out of their way to make me feel welcome. Very unusual these days! The location is very convenient to LAX, rental car lots, restaurants, stores and is about a block from the 405 freeway. I ate at Charly's Mexican restaurant nearby and had a great inexpensive meal. Roscoe's chicken and waffles is directly across the street. Would definitely stay here again!
Amazing stay easy to find, safe environment, Dee the manager and the breakfast staff were great!!! Good variety of breakfast. Pool and hot tub were clean. Plenty of parking. Thy let us check in 2 hours early!!
This older hotel has quite a bit of charm. It was clean and comfortable and the pool area was a wonderful place to unwind and spend some time. Despite the busy roadway and air-traffic, the room was quiet enough for a peaceful sleep. The airport transportation was on time and the driver especially helpful to this single traveler.
This older property is well maintained, clean, and comfortable. The pool area offered an inviting setting to pass the time. The van driver to the airport was especially helpful for this single traveler.
We were searching a place with good price, localization and breakfast included. We´ve found the Best Western Airpark. Besides every place in town is not so near, the localization is good, the breakfast is not South American way, but it has several kind of food, fruits and coffee. The rooms are clean, enough up to three people, a couple and a child, TV set, air conditioner, safe locker. If you rent a car, there are many spot in the park lot.
Close to LAX airport, and it's crucial because of the heavy traffic in the morning. The room was soundproof, clean and spacious. The internet connection is free and fast. Breakfast was OK. Parking costs 7$. The neighborhood is dark and desolate in the evening, but there are restaurants about 2 to 4 miles by car. We uses our rented car for driving to dinner and then dropped it in the car rentals place. A short walk by foot to the hotel, and in the morning by Uber to the terminal (12$). The hotel has a free shuttle.
Expected more of a Best Western hotel. Should have done more homework and found a nicer hotel in a better area. Very shady area. Felt unsafe to walk around. Front desk area was very poor. We just wanted a decent hotel near the airport with a shuttle. Will not come back or refer this hotel to friends.
Picked this hotel due to its airport shuttle service along with its close proximity to our rental car and LAX airport. Clean room. Our air conditioner didn't seem to work the best. The pool and hot tub were nice but looked like they needed to be skimmed as there were bugs floating on top, which I don't usually see at other hotels.
Chose this for it's proximity to the airport and car rental base as we were not picking the car up until the next day. The hotel is fine, we only stayed one night. It's not the Ritz, but clean, convenient, good access, breakfast room with basic but good fare, cooked and continental. Room furniture and fittings were good, clean and all items functioning and a comfortable bed. The staff we encountered were all polite friendly and helpful. There was no courtesy phone in the luggage reclaim area, which was advertised, I had to use my cell phone for a pick-up. The courtesy bus took us to the rental car base in the morning. I would use the hotel again in similar circumstances.
I was only there for one night to leave to come back home. The Hotel was perfectly clean, the pool was offered but I didn't feel like swimming, it did look nice though. Everything in the room worked great and was very quiet for a hotel that is right near LAX. I was amazed how quiet. The desk clerk gave me directions to local restaurants and a map which was helpful.
room spacious and clean. Breakfast adequate for our needs. Staff Dee and Miguel extremely courteous and helpful. They booked taxi and sorted problem when bag was left in taxi. They allowed us to leave our baggage in the Hotel as our flight was later that evening.
Property looks a bit dowdy from outside, especially at night. Payment requirements seem a bit tough for a guest staying overnight USD$7 - why not just incl in room rate? Handy location to LAX & car rental companies. Nice size room & bed
We arrived quite late at LAX. This hotel has a shuttle, and its very convinient for us who already travelling long hiur. You just have to call to pick you up. The staffs are also very nice. The breakfast are simple yet good enough for us. If you dont want to go to city (takes around 30-45 minutes by taxi), there are a lot of shops around the hotel.
Over all our stay was very good. We were close to the airport and the staff opened the breakfast area a little earlier than posted hours so that we could eat before our early flight. It was close to our long term parking lot. Our room was clean and nicely decorated. Our room was located on the street side that had a lot traffic.
Super friendly and great breakfast! The rooms were nice and barely heard the airplanes. Great location- but it's the friendly people that will bring us back! The pool was nice and the hot tub was perfect after a long drive!
It is close to LAX so you have to expect aircraft noise when you are outside the room. It is very convenient to the newly renovated Forum, which is a nice concert venue. It is near Hollywood Park where a new NFL stadium is being built. There are several low cost places to dine at within a short walk of the hotel. Donuts at breakfast (from nearby Randy's Donuts which always has a huge line) were astonishingly yummy (and I am not normally a donut fan). I found the staff attentive, the breakfast room well stocked and the room clean. Visually, it is not anything startlingly good or bad, inside or out. The room furniture and bed were comfortable but not lavish. Since we spent most of our time sight seeing and the room was very economical, this was the right value tradeoff for us. Toilet had a slow leak when we arrived. When we discovered it and reported it, the manager immediately sent a repairman who replaced the flapper quickly and all was well. The shower fixture ran when the tub was being filled. When we reported this we were offered an alternative room, which we declined as this wasn't important to us, and they scheduled the repair for after our checkout.
This was a great place to stay before flying home to Australia. Hotel staff are very friendly. The hotel has a shuttle to the airport, which is very convenient. The breakfast is fantastic and has a waffle maker which is a real treat. The pool is clean and the Jacuzzi is hot, we really enjoyed relaxing at the pool and having a swim, perfect relaxation before the long flight home. The rooms are clean and roomy. This hotel is very good value for the LAX area.
Employees provided excellent service, making this otherwise good hotel a real gem. My room was spacious and clean, the desk clerk was quick to fix the tv remote, and the breakfast had lots of yummy choices. I walked to a concert at the Forum, and the hotel sent the airport shuttle to pick me up afterwards.
We stayed here for a concert at the Forum. Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Average BW breakfast. Remarkably quiet rooms. Very clean. Convenient to LAX and the Forum. Parking seemed very secure. The rack rate was a good value.
This property is located near LAX. The soundproofing was very good as the landing planes were barely noticeable over the ambient noise. The air conditioner was also quiet. It has an elevator for access to the upper floors.
If you are arriving at LAX Terminal 2 be very careful to have $.25 (US) for the phone call to get the shuttle. The pay phones charge $10.00 fee to use a credit card. The shuttle drives are very helpful (especially Mr. Morales). Breakfast was good and gave a good start to the day. Morning newspapers in the lobby. Getting dinner was a cha;;enge due to the location but one can survive.
We arrived at the hotel late straight from the airport. The hotel offer a free shuttle which was very efficient. The hotel doesn't look much from the outside and is very 'America Motel'. Small lobby with a very helpful guy to check us in. We had a room on the ground floor which was very nice. We even had a jacuzzi bath in the main room! Rooms are not totally sound proof but quiet enough to sleep. There is parking on site, I think it's chargeable though. Breakfast in the morning is edible. It's in a small room with disposable plates and cutlery. They make fresh waffles if you wish and the rest is continental breakfast. We even snuck some muffins out for a snack during the day. We were picking up a car the next day and the shuttle bus dropped us off for no fee. Overall, perfect hotel for the airport. Great value, clean and tidy. Would recommend.
Had a wonderful experience at this best western will definitely come back. Staff was wonderful help with my every needs was always checking up on me to see if I was okay if I needed anything best western is the bomb.com
All the staff at this hotel is very polite. They will go above and beyond for the customers. The hotel is great to stay at. I always stay at this hotel when I need a hotel room. Dee the manager is very helpful.
I've booked this hotel because the day after we had an Airplane to take from the LA airport . When I choose the room via expedia, I don't know why, I've reserved a smoking room , strange because we don't smoke and i've booked other 8 hotel in the same trip... Anyway, I've asked to the person at the front desk to change it with a non smoking one, and he told me was possible because they had one .. We went to the room and there was a strong smell of smoke, but it was late the kids were tired , we had to wake up early and so we decided to stay there, the day after we smell like a chimney. Not only , the room was not soundproof ... you can ear the people walking in the room above, like they were walking in your own room!... I let you immagine, the airplane landing . In the end we did not slept very well ... Breakfast is in the average of the 'Best Western' chain, but served in a room in the corner outside the hotel building near the parking, too small for all the people the hotel can host ( I stand up for half my breakfast). I'll not recommend it.
The room was very nice, clean, and much quieter than expected for near the airport. The desk clerk, Tony was very pleasant, attentive and friendly. Most helpful. Overall a good stay for the one night stay.
Older hotel, lots of noise from adjacent rooms and airport. AC blows directly on the bed. Clean rooms and friendly staff. All hotels in this area are expensive, but $160 per night is way too much for this class of hotel.
Basic Best Western. Shuttle service was good, room was clean, breakfast was good, staff was friendly. Randy's Donuts down the street in walking distance. Conveniently located to get around Los Angeles.
Great experience. Great for staying for shows at the Forum. Good restaurants across the street. Friendly staff. Continental breakfast good. $7 /night parking fee. Took Uber to and from the Forum. Elevator very slow. Have to get to continental breakfast early to get a seat.
Very near by the airport with a clean and spacious room this hotel is perfect for one night after the arrival at LAX or before the departure. The breakfast is ok even medium/low quality. A free shuttle bus is available
Great choice for staying the night onto another flight the next day as was our case. Breakfast could improve a little but overall very good value for money. Good shuttle service and nice help with getting us on next shuttle bus to our plane.
The helpful staff of this hotel made our experience much more comfortable in our first trip to California. The staff made it possible to attend to our needs. Quick and courteous. I would definelty stay at this hotel again.
We had a great time in LA using Best Western as our base for doing things (mostly sight seeing) while visiting relatives. We rented a car from the airport and used our navigation system to visit favorite sites in the area including Catalina Island and the Chihuly Glass Exhibit at the Island Museum.
It's not far from airport and that's why there's free shuttle. Shuttle service starts early at 6am follow by an hour at 7am. Those who wants to skip the traffics can choose to stay but you have to bear the noise from planes flying near ground at times.
We were tired weary travelers when we arrived at this hotel and pleased to be greeted by friendly hotel staff. Our room was clean and comfortable- all was in order for our stay. We had a very early flight the next morning- so were unable to take advantage of the breakfast - but were offered water and breakfast type snacks to take for free. This was a great addition. Only downside is that the shuttle bus only travels to the airport on the hour but this wasn't an issue for us although the driver was a bit grumpy.
Outdated & overpriced, such a let down. There was a water dispenser in the lobby with several slices of pears the next day the slices were turning brown and they were still offering the water. Upon arrival I got on the elevator that was old, had questionable liquid on the floor and the smell of marijuana was so powerful, that I expected to have the munchies once I got off on my floor.
Dee and his staff are always amazing ! Clean friendly great breakfast and an awesome pool area. This hotel rules. Always stay here when we are in town. Great value for location. Close to major freeway exits as well
Dirty room. Filthy carpet and chairs. Clogged shower that was accumulating up to 5 inches of water as one showers. Dirty sink. Very disappointed on cleanliness of the room, unable to do anything about it because it was late at night, too tired to even try to change rooms. People screaming outside early in the morning.
I was surprised how clean the hotel was. My reason for that was because I stayed at the other best western last year and their rooms were outdated and smelly. I appreciated the staff, they were kind and professional. They also make your stay feel safe. Thank you!
When i arrived to the Hotel i was very tired and i guess the manager could see it on my face. The managers name was Dee and he said let me check you in right now so you can go to your room and relax. I thought that was very considered of him to notice that i was tired. My room was very clean and smell clean. My air conditioner worked very well and i love that. The breakfast was a continental breakfast which was fine with me because i always eat a light breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.
I didn't look too hard for an airport hotel, as best westerns usually a sure bet. I was a little disappointed , probably the worst because of noise and semi haphazard service. A lot of street noise, neighbour noise and building noise.kinda tired building but beds, pillows were fine . Shuttle to airport only goes once an hour which could have been more.
This hotel was close to LAX and offered a free shuttle which is why we chose this location. We stay at BW frequently and all the amenities you expect were provided. The marginal area around the hotel is busy, not meant for easy walking to restaurants and services if you don't have a car. The hotel is older but the room furnishings were updated. The breakfast room is small and obviously got crowded during peak times but offered a good selection of choices including fried eggs. When booking on line it said there was a free shuttle to and from LAX that ran on the hour. When we arrived at LAX I called the hotel to be sure that was true and learned I did have to call to request the pickup. I was given accurate instructions on where to go outside of the baggage area and that it would be less than 30 minutes for the shuttle to arrive. The shuttle arrived in 20 mins. the driver was personable and efficient, and the next day when we returned to LAX the shuttle was right on time in front of reception on the hour.
Very nice rooms. Staff treated us kindly all the time when in the messaging. Clean rooms and we even left a tip to thank the maids for dealing with our messy rooms. The internet was good. They need to update the password on the cardholders though but that was a very small problem and the staff took care of it professionally and nicely.
This hotel has always been very accommodating and helpful with student groups I have brought from Taiwan. The drivers are friendly and the breakfast is tasty and filling. They are not 5-star but you get a great value with this hotel.
Hotel in a very convenient location with fantastic beds, generous and well stocked buffet breakfast and everything you need for a business or leisure stopover. There is a substantial amount of noise from planes but we stayed here due to the close proximity to the airport so some plane noise is to be expected. Very close to car rental returns for Alamo.
This was our second trip to Los Angeles. The first time we booked through a travel agent. We were so pleased with the value, service and accommodations that we chose to stay here again. Awesome place to stay.
Breakfast staff went above and beyond and took care of my kids' requsts, she was so awesome. Tim was good but restroom is too hot, maybe a fan would help. Restaurants, store and had station all very close by and convenient
Just an amazing hotel staff!! Everyone staff member you meet is pleasant and helpful. The hotel is well kept, and has easy access to the 405. We stayed here for 16 nights and will definitely stay again if we are in the Los Angles area. I highly recommend this hotel!
The hotel overall experience was great without any problems. I had many choices for dining in the general area or even delivery to the hotel. I choose the delivery to the Hotel so that I could have a working dinner. I was able to easily access the internet for business purposes and I had great entertainment selection on Television for my relaxation after completing my work. The night was very quiet and I was able to sleep soundly.
Clean clean clean. Loved it. Great TV, Great bed, Great internet, Great staff, Coffeemaker in the room, free transport to LAX. Absolutely nothing negative. Great experience. Many hotels can take this hotel as an example.
Great location, staff very helpful, a little noisy as it was on a busy highway. Gave up car rental and close enough to walk from there, even though we were offered that the hotel shuttle would pick us up.
This hotel is located near the 405 freeway lots of little shops close by. Great getaway spot. Lovely breakfast! Comfortable bed. Great value. I like staying here because its homely, they are in independently owned so there are a few differences.
Great room, great amenities!! We arrived on April 28th and were early for check in, it was no problem at all and I wish I could remember the mans name who was working the front desk. He was super friendly, helpful, and accomodating. He got us all checked in, helped us find something to do, and even helped us set up and use Uber to get to our destination. He definitely went above and beyond and made our stay fantastic! The airport shuttle was fast to pick us up at the airport and the room was comfortable and clean. Would definitely stay here again!
Stayed in this hotel for one night. Very comfortable and spacious rooms. Very friendly and courteous staff. Breakfast was nice. They have an option of smoking and non smoking room and about 15 minutes from LAX airport. I
My boyfriend and I stayed one night here and they were very accommodating! My old critique would be that we were never told the airport shuttle was by request so we waited at the airport an extra 30 minutes before calling the hotel. Other than that our stay was great, check in was easy and we got a no charge late check out at 12:30, the room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was filling and yummy. I would definitely stay here again if I happen to be in need of an overnight in LA. Also another plus, Roscoes Chicken and Waffle House is right across the street!
Been at this hotel several times and very happy with office staff service and room. On my business trips I now use Best Western hotels, like there service and rooms. Never had a problem at Best western hotels compare to other hotels Recommended hotel
I love coming to this hotel, it makes me feel very safe and comfortable and all the employees are always so nice with a smile. The rooms r always clean and smell good. Close to everything great locations.
We chose the hotel because it was close to the airport and offered a free hotel shuttle. The shuttle service was great - we waited only minutes at the airport to be picked up, the driver was courteous and the trip to the hotel was brief. Took the first shuttle back to the airport the next morning and had a very friendly driver - and another quick trip. This is a motel - with doors that open onto an outside walkway. We stayed in room 312 - and there was an elevator (unlike many motels), so getting our luggae up to our room was easy - especially since there were luggage carts. The bed and furniture seemed relatively new and the room seemed well-maintained. The air conditioner worked great and quickly cooled the room. The fixtures in the bathroom were in good repair. There was a good sized flat screen TV, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, iron and ironing board. Ice machines and vending machines with reasonably priced snacks and beverages were avaialble. We did not use them, but there was a washer and dryer, too. WiFi was free and fast. Miguel, the front desk clerk was efficient and polite. The hotel has an outdoor pool, but we did not have time to use it. There are several close by restaurants - we bought donuts at Randy's donuts, which was about a block away - and had dinner and Roscoe's Chicken 'n Waffle House, right across the street - we'd recommend both. Only negative - shuttle only runs hourly; we needed to take first shuttle in morning and missed free breakfast.
We had a great experience staying at this hotel. The front desk staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. The hotel was clean and well cared for. I would recommend the hotel to those seeking a comfortable room close to LAX.
A waste of money, I could have gotten a hotel with the same quality for a fraction of the cost. The room did not have the proper pillows for the bed, anf harder enough soap, and shampoo for the guests.
As I stated earlier, my experience at this establishment was nothing less than perfect. Please read earlier comments for specifics. Everything from the rooms to the morning breakfast, pool, and check in/out procedures went very well. Thank you so much!
We stayed here after getting bumped on our flight home after vacation. We chose them because they had a shuttle as we were without a car. Room was clean, check in was efficient and they had a nice breakfast. Came in late and left early so not much more to say.
i highly recommend this hotel. very nice and pleasant customer service, very clean updated rooms, very nice continental breakfast, good places to eat within walking distance across the street, and a great value for the dollar.i would recommend they have better TV channels / shows and movies to watch with a TV guide.
We stayed at the Airpark for a night traveling berween New Zealand and Vancouver, so we wanted a quiet room close to some places to eat, with airport shuttle service. On arrival, the manager rerouted another hotel's shuttle to pick us up quickly at the airport. Check in was quick and friendly, and the room was well-insulated to block street noise. Entry doors are in alcoves set back from the outdoor corridor, so no noise from other guests and their rolling luggage disturbed our sleep. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean and nicely arranged, and the bathroom was modern. The complimentary breakfast had a lot of variety, and the breakfast room was well organized. The manager even came out to help load the airport shuttle so baggage and passengers could be dropped of quickly and efficiently. Right across the street are a couple of restaurants that reflect the best of the neighborhood. One is Roscoe's, a soul-food legend. Our new favorite is Maria's Ricos Tacos, the best Mexican food I've ever eaten at astonishingly good prices. If you want a good meal after a long flight, followed by a siesta, followed by a smooth transfer to your next flight, the Airpark is an excellent place to stay.
*Close to the airport. The complimentary shuttle runs from the hotel to the airport on the half hour, 24/7. *Friendly, helpful staff. Upon check-out before the free breakfast bar opened, the Front Desk Manager offered us a breakfast bag with a bottle of water, an apple and a granola bar. *There's a Ross discount clothing retail store a block from the hotel. *Lots of fast food restaurants nearby. *The ironing board has a constricting plate bolted to it, perhaps to prevent guests from walking off with the irons. The loss prevention contraption makes ironing clothes a challenge. *Our bed's mattress had seen better days. *The price is modest and the hotel offers reasonable value for a short stay.
This was the Best rate in town. The staff was kind and gave Outstanding service. It was a Cozy room and very clean. It's easy to take transportation to where you need to go. I'd definitely stay here again
This place is truly terrible. Our flight was canceled and Delta booked us at Best Western Airpark for the night. So we didn't even pay for our room. But trust me when I say you could not pay me to stay here. First of all, Dee the manager was incredibly rude to us, I would even say hostile. He started screaming at us pretty much as soon as we walked into the lobby. Then we went up to the room. This hotel looks like a crack den. The clientele is sketchy and I felt unsafe even walking to the room. Inside the room, there were black dots on the sheets and a sticky substance. We left without staying the night because it was the worst motel I have ever been to. Do yourself a favor and book at any one of the many better hotels near LAX.
will tell all of my firends and business associates about the great service we received. great location, near main freeway, close to shopping malls, air port, and all types of places. Good for business or pleasure.
Very friendly staff I'll give them that and yes the room was ok. My first room i was allocated had a very strong smell of marijuana and i asked for a new room and they gave me one straight away. Prostitutes and pimps hanging around the hotel was a big let down. I was in america for 2 weeks and this was my worst experience. Positives are the airport shuttle bus and the pool and hot tube.
We needed a place to stay for the night before leaving for a cruise. This hotel worked out fine for us. It was perfectly comfortable and very clean, just what we needed. The free shuttle to the airport to meet our transfer to the ship was very convenient and on time. There is a place for dinner right across the street. It is not deluxe, but everyone was very friendly, it was quiet, and the price was right. Would definitely stay again.
We stayed at this hotel twice during October and were very satisfied with the facilities and the service. It is not a new facility but is well maintained. The rooms are clean and all the appliances operated well. The free airport shuttle service was prompt and friendly.
We had thirty hours in LA between flights so chose this hotel simply because it was close to the airport. The room was clean, the decor modern, the bed king sized, comfortable and quite new. There was a spa bath in the room and the bathroom was well appointed with both shower and bath. Towels were plentiful. The staff were friendly and helpful, the pool clean and well maintained. The hotel is on Manchester Boulevard - fast traffic, multiple lanes. There is a general store across the road and Starbucks a block away and Roscoes (chicken place, not expensive but not basic either. Expect large serving and a wait to be seated). The windows faced into the courtyard so there was no noise from the street. We stayed in Best Westerns in San Francisco (2), Destin FL (2) and New Orleans on this trip and this was as good if not better than any of them.
This place was a dump. We missed our connecting flight and had to spend the night at LAX, so I searched for a place near the airport that wasn't sold out. I'm sorry we didn't look further. The rooms all have doors to the outside (loud, unsafe, unsavory), our sink was filthy (I called the front desk and they apologized:), and the shuttle to the airport only leaves once an hour. And they charged $150/night for the privilege.
I have been staying at this hotel on way home to Australia every year since 2009. They have an excellent shuttle service, pick up is generally within 30 minutes of my call and they schedule a shuttle to the airport every hour on the hour. It is a free service, takes about 15 minutes and you do not have to wait for other passengers. The rooms are large with King sized beds, they have a [slow] elevator, baggage trolleys, a refrigerator and microwave in every room, a writing desk and table with 2 chairs. The chairs are high enough to reach the table and desk (unlike most Colorado motels), there is free WiFi and adequate power points. Within 10 minutes walk is a liquor store, a really good Mexican restaurant and lots of other fast food stores and restaurants. The hotel is on a West-East bus route which intercepts with all of the North-South routes. The best - and cheapest - way to get around LA is by bus and light rail. This hotel is in a great location for exploring Downtown and the more fashionable (and cleaner) North West part of town (ie Santa Monica, Beverly Hills and Hollywood). On the negative side it is in a dirty part of town, but most of Los Angeles is seedy and much the same. Does not feel safe after 10 pm and most of the establishments are closed by then.
The person who checked us in was indifferent, impersonal and rude. This was one of the least favorite stays at BW. We picked this place due to its proximity to LAX but wish we had stayed a little farther and at a nicer facility for the same price.
My new wife and I stayed here on the first night of our honeymoon having arrived at lax jet lagged and very tired from traveling. Staff were pleasant enough and the room was clean. However some $600 was Stolen from my wife's purse as we slept. They left big small notes and took big ones. Whoever took it gained access to our room with a key. Be warned!
beds are comfortable. front desk girl was nice. breakfast was good. shuttle pick-up from airport was slow (took Uber instead). the high cost of the hotel is for the location. parking cost should be included for hotel guests!
Stayed both coming from and going to Australia. My arrival time was awkward each time but I was well catered for at pick up, then at the desk where I was given information for 24 hour food and interesting ways to fill my empty hours. Breakfast was sufficient and the room clean and comfortable. Highly recommended for single women traveling through LAX. Best staff!
Staff was nice but the hotel was in a very bad area. We could not even safely go out to get dinner! Had to order in which was fine. Breakfast was a OK. Their shuttle runs pretty frequently and we did wait a while at the terminal to catch it, but it was very quick when we checked out of the hotel the next day.
Good. Nothing special. All around pretty much average. Elevator needs work on décor and function. Room was average. Overall a good stay nothing major to comment on. Busy area of town, close to LAX airport and car rental agencies, lots of traffic. Some places to eat nearby but not a lot. Roscoe's restaurant across the road pretty good but no liquor license.
Good location and friendly and accommodating staff. Stayed here a night before our flight. Does not feel the safest at night but the rooms are clean and spacious and didn't hear any noise from the road. Used the pool in the morning before our flight which was kept very clean just a shame there was no showers to use.
This hotel was in a great location - near The LAX Airport and The Forum. They also have a shuttle if you need it. The room was very clean, including the bathroom. The hotel is adjacent to the 405 freeway, but they have amazing windows - no street noise at all. The lobby staff was extremely friendly.
It was what I expected for an airport hotel. Good location and free shuttle bus. Front desk staff were helpful. Rooms were in the typical old fashioned BW style. Horrible brown throws on the bed and noisy a/c. Rooms all face on to the carpark.
The last night at our trip in California we stayed at this hotel before going to LAX for the flight back home to Sweden. Free transfer to the airport, an OK breakfast and good prices made us book this hotel. It had a pool, but we didn't see anyone use it. The hotel felt like a transit hotel and the standard was average. Nice people in the reception.
Unplanned, re-routed early morning arrival in LA after our United flight from Chicago was constantly delayed and subsequently cancelled, causing us to miss our flight home to Australia. We were left stranded at LAX without any accommodation and United would not assist. Best Western came to the rescue and we received the best service from them and a complimentary late checkout. Great location close to airport and public transport (bus). Shuttle bus provided to and from the airport. Room was large, bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean and fully stocked with amenities we needed seeing our bags had gone to San Francisco. Fridge, microwave & tea & coffee facilities were also greatly appreciated. Can highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again when in LA.
I booked this hotel as a stop on one of my business trips; upon arrival, I found a place that was absolutely filthy. The parking lot was covered with litter and there was some debris hanging from the ceiling... I left and called to cancel my reservation only to be informed that they were going to charge me anyway... WHAT A RIP OFF!! THIS PLACE IS AWFUL! DO NOT STAY HERE!!
We had a reservation the night before we were to fly out of LAX. We stopped in early that day to drop luggage to be held so that we could return the car on time. Our room was ready, so that was great. We intended to return the car, take car shuttle to airport, then call hotel for airport pick up. The manager told us to just call and they would pick us up at the car rental rather than us having to go to airport. We were very surprised and pleased. Room was clean and comfortable, average Best Western. There was a chicken and waffle restaurant across the street, so easy to get some food. We would stay again because of the extra service they provided.
Stayed here for one night after a long flight into LAX. This motel offers a convenient airport shuttle that runs once per hour though 24/7. The receptionist was friendly and the check-in process fast. The motel itself is in need of some serious refurbishment: the exterior is dirty and not well maintained, and the same could be said about the rooms. The bed itself was clean and free of bugs.
Stayed here for a night because it's close to LAX and has free shuttle. The service was good and the bed was comfy, with clean sheets. Everything else, however, was very very poor. It really needs some serious maintenance... it is also close to a big road, so if you are a light sleeper, get ready to stay awake... looks like one of those motels from the movies...
I spent the night nearer to the medical complex where I had several appointments that day with the first being at 8:15. I did not want to face the heavy traffic I would have had if I would not have spent the night.
The reception staff were super friendly and helpful, staff in breakfast room was very good, bed was comfortable, free shuttle, easy access from airport,The pillows are strange - small and lumpy. Should have rung housekeeping for better ones
If you stay here do not rely on the website for the location. Call the hotel directly. It is not in a great part of town and I did not feel terribly safe. Ride to the airport is less than 5 minutes and the driver is great.
My family often stay at BW and this location was by far the worse one. We stayed here for one night during our layover at LAX. Very noisy traffic, disrespectful loud hotel guests making their connections throughout the night. Honking horns and car alarms going off. Upon check in my family and a lady of the night (prostitute) was also looking for a room which goes with the sketchy area. Room smelled of mold and sheets/blankets/pillows were of unexceptable quality. This hotel is in need of a complete renovation. Gross! PG, Victoria BC
We chose this hotel because of the complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport. We were very impressed with the friendliness of the staff, especially Dee, and their commitment to delivering a high level of service to their guests.
Service 100%...Awsome rooms.even though our room was on the street side we barely noticed the traffic or the planes landing...Lovely pool area, very convenient to all the vehicle rental places, and a shuttle service for pick up or drop off....works great for flying in or out of LA
Flying STBY so booked here 1 night for early morning flight out next morning. I've stayed in a few Best Western's & find them pleasant to stay but not this one. Needs some TLC or change in mgmt....front desk directed us to the elevator which did not work to 3rd floor so we took to the stairs. Room is dark enterior decor...outdated & depressing. Note: No Gideon's Bible in the room. Shuttle only goes every hour to/from LAX. Told to wait 15 min at curb for shuttle. I called twice to follow up, driver showed up 1 hr later. Nice about staying at BWs is there complimentary breakfasts, we had first flight out & where told breakfast opened at 6am. About 8 of us standing outside of the breakfast area waiting for them to open. We were not the only ones with early flights out. Breakfast attendant drove up 10 min. early to prepare & reminded us they don't open breakfast till 6am but the shuttle to the airport leaves at 6am which is what a few of us needed to be on. Hostess was filling the baskets with croissants as a few of us where reaching for them for the 6am shuttle. Oh well. Only stay here as a last of "there is no where else to stay at lax". Staff & mgmt of property less engaging than other BWs.
Very convenient hotel, near to the airport, easy to get out of town before the rush hour.... Very kind stuff. Clean room, I didn't use the AC because it was a chilly night... I'd recommend for one night maybe 2...
Based on price and experience, I expected this hotel to be of better quality than it was. The exterior was very dirty. I stayed in room 208 and I couldn't get the shower head to point down. The water came out toward the back wall. Breakfast was okay but there was no soy milk option. The internet connection was good but I would prefer if it was encrypted.
Room was fine as was the free breakfast. Staff OK. Rooms clean and Wifi is fast and free. However this airport is extremely close to the airport and a freeway so expect it to be noisy. Take ear plugs. There are extra doors that help keep noise out but due to the location it is still noisy. Having said that we did sleep. If you want a hotel close to car hire pick up and return points and also very close to the airport then go ahead and book. Its OK for one night. There are also several eating places in the area and a brew pub 11 minutes walk up the road.
The location is very convenient to LAX International Airport, very organized for airport shuttle arrangement. Room is neat and clean, stalls are always smiling, ready to assist you. Great for you to catch an early flight.
Good location for LAX, standard BW rooms, multi story so rooms can get noise from above, elevator, wifi slow, tv good, clean rooms. Daily $ to park which is weird for me at a motel??? Lupe who runs the breakfast is fantastic, helpful, cleaning even making waffles.
We went on a road trip (june 2016) and booked all our hotels via Best Western: Inglewood (LA) -> Palm Springs -> Needles -> Grand Canyon -> Page -> Bryce Canyon -> Zion -> Las Vegas -> Mammoth Lakes -> Yosemite -> San Fransisco -> Santa Maria -> Inglewood. Best Western Airpark was the first hotel after we landed in the USA. We reached the hotel after a 20min drive from the airport. We had a large room with a very comfortable bed and pillows, bathroom was rather basic (so far in every hotel, seems to be a trademark of BW). Only negative point was the noise from landing airplanes and cars (room was located next to a busy street) and the extra charge for parking (although there was plenty of space left). Breakfast was good (best so far). Free wifi with good connection was available.
A simple airport hotel to crash in. Don't expect anything more. Convenient free 24 hour shuttle service to LAX. Rooms are clean with very basic equipment. I used for a overnight layover before continuing a trip to Asia. Staff was friendly. About the area did not seem too good to venture out for a walk. In all you need is a place to take a decent shower and crash, it would work. WIFI is very good.
Prompt, courteous shuttle drivers. Friendly, efficient front-desk staff. Nice complimentary breakfast in a clean, friendly environment. Competitive pricing. Close to airport but surprisingly quiet since you can sit by the pool and watch the planes coming in for a landing. Love the fact that there is a small fridge and microwave in the room. Also a residential area behind the hotel offers an opportunity to get out for a walk if you are so inclined.
The reason I chose this hotel was because it offered a free airport shuttle, was close to the airport and breakfast was included. They came quite quickly to pick me up from the airport, which was good. The staff were friendly. The room was clean but average. Unfortunately, the breakfast room opened at 6 am and I had to catch the 6 am shuttle, so I only had time to grab a donut before I had to leave. Accommodation at LAX is quite pricey, but if you just want somewhere basic, then this is a good option.
We only spent 7 hours overnight at this hotel on an airport layover. While the staff were very friendly and efficient, we were glad of the short stay because of the very loud traffic noise in our room. The room was very clean and well maintained. The shuttle service was excellent and the breakfast was good with exceptional service.
When a customer ask for specific items and you can not provide them, say so. I should not be about the hotel making short term money with 1 visit but the customer's experience which leads to many visits and more money for the hotel.
This was not a fancy or particularly fashionable hotel but it was clean, off street parking, good free breakfast and very nice and helpful staff. Dee was particularly helpful to us as we had never been in L.A. and were a bit overwhelmed. His directions were clear and he made every effort to give us maps or information helping us to get around. It was even quiet considering we were so near the airport. The Airport shuttle was free and the gentleman driving was careful and very kind. Our guests were arriving at the airport after we needed to check out but the staff allowed us to stay parked there and use the shuttle anyway. All around, I would stay here again.
After an 11 your flight and picking up car from Alamo this hotel is just minutes away. Alot of traffic noise but we were so tired we could have slept on the centre reservation! The hotel makes up for that with immaculate rooms. The breakfast have an extensive choice and Lupe was on hand to cook your waffle for you and keep everywhere pristine. To sum up, handy if you're tired and sllep through the traffic.
This place is kinda sketchy (lots of activity in the parking lot and hallways) and there was a tiny baby roach on the bathroom counter. But it was very convenient for getting to the airport early the next morning. And there's a Roscoe's across the street.
We were in this hotel from March 9 to March 11, 2016, and from April 5 to April 7, 2016. On both occasions we had a very good stay, Reception staff friendly and helpful, rooms very clean, Wi-Fi included in price, attention by the lady in the breakfast room excellent. Shuttle service to the airport once every hour. All the staff knows how to his/her job very well. Façade (outside appearance) needs a makeup however, but that didn't bother us
Needed just one night before an early morning flight. Picked up at the airport; returned to the airport the next morning. Everything in between went well. No problems. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Third stay at there; would go back again.
Except for the infrequency of free airport shuttle running only hourly, everything else is fine. May consider running at half hour intervals during busy periods in particular early morning hours. Also there seems to be too little security measure controling public access to guest rooms.
Booked this hotel for after a concert at the forum. Traffic noise made it hard to sleep.bring earplugs. Saw bug on wall that looked like a roach. Good hotel by the forum. Service was excellent. Bed was saggy.
Showed up on a late Friday night, there sure was a lot of activity going on, meaning a lot of young people hanging around doing what young people would do at a hotel on a Friday night, the noise level was suprisignly low, considering all the young folks hanging out all over the hotel, but that didn't bother me since I'm from a city where the atmosphere is about the same, checked in without a problem, appearance was neat and clean, the bed was really comfy, bathroom was clean and well stocked, the beach is probably a 10 15 minute drive away, which is a plus. Over all it was a pleasant stay the only downside about the whole experience was that the elevator was mighty slow, which was only trouble while carrying your bags.
The hotel has adequate parking. The rental car returns are close the hotel, while driving up to LAX. The room was basic and had all the required facilities. The breakfast is available from 6.00AM, though the items are limited. There's a gas station right across the street from the hotel, but it is better to top the tank on the previous night, if the rentals require returning full tank. We noticed that the shuttle service of the hotel to LAX is very regular, on-time. Being LA, the safety is always a concern, but the neighborhood seems okay. We walked up to a Subway store about a mile away. Okay to stay for a night .
I'm glad to see other people had positive reviews here. I was pleased that the front desk clerk rectified our bedding situation so that helped bump up my rating. Here's my view: * Guests should not be allowed to smoke in the hotel - especially marijuana. I don't care if you want to smoke this elsewhere, but I DO care if it's in the room next to me. It may very well be legal - it doesn't mean you have to allow it on your premises, just like I don't have to let you smoke in my house. Our room did not smell good for other reasons either. I was able to get room spray from the front desk clerk, and that helped for a while but there's only so much you can do when the smoking continues and you don't do anything about it - and are told you can't do anything about it. * If Best Western's website (booked directly) says there are rollaway beds, maybe you need to have more than 2 for the entire hotel. Saying it's based on availability and you only have 2 is crazy! Thankfully this was rectified, but it was a silly argument to have at check in. * Soooo noisy. I can usually block out a lot of airport hotel noise, but we were on the corner next to the busy road and highway. The noise was endless. The honking was ridiculous. Not a restful sleep. * Breakfast included is also welcome and expected at BW - one of the reasons I book this chain. Parking was NOT expected. That irritated me as I hate unbudgeted surprises. I can't say I'd book here again based on these issues. I usually have great luck with Best Western so will book with the chain again, but probably not here for the noise and smell.
we have been staying at this motel for the last 3 to 4 trips that we've made to Los Angeles. We make this trip every year and enjoy the convenience and location of this motel. There are many places accessible by just walking. It's on a busy street but it is hardly noticeable. we love it
We just needed a safe, clean place to stay after a day spent at Disney until close and before a morning flight out of LAX. This hotel suited us perfectly. Clean, easy to get to, and easy access to LAX in the morning. Breakfast was an added bonus. The staff was friendly and helpful.
If in the area we would stay there again. Staff is extremely friendly and informative. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Airport and freeway noises are present but tolerable. Only problem is the elevator is slow.
Good access to Beaches and freeways. Hats off to Dee for all his help and attention. Breakfast was top notch Enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Would definitely stay here when returning to the Los Angeles area.
Stayed at this location due to proximity to a customer meeting at Playa Vista and landing in LAX late. 5 min drive from airport is great, parking is limited but available at USD 10 a day. Now the bad parts. There was a drug dealer of some sort at the corner of the parking lot the whole night. Room is huge and looks clean, but it stinks of ethnic food. My room was by to the main street in front, very noisy if you open the window throughout the night. Breakfast is kind of little to choose from but I guess it is available. Neighborhood is in general where you would like to avoid if you are travelling with family and kids. But plenty of fast food places nearby.... Pure budget stay location
We stayed at best western airpark for 1 night when we arrived at LAX. We enjoyed it more than we expected and had a great sleep. Breakfast was excellent and the check in/check out experience was excellent as well. Thank you Best Western!
This hotel was quiet, clean and the front desk associate made our stay very pleasant. Dee at the front desk went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. He helped us with getting around the city every day we were there and was always pleasant and friendly.
My boyfriend and I stayed at the Best Western Airpark Hotel from February 13th to 15th. Dee at the front desk went out of his way and arranged chocolates, wine and a card for a surprise Valentines gift for my boyfriend. He went above and beyond what I expected. There were two other front desk staff members we seen who were also more than helpful. Supplying us with maps of restaurants and the metro. We flew out very early the morning of the 15th and the gentleman who was working the front desk offered us bottled water, granola bars and fruit while we waited for the shuttle bus to take us to the airport. It was a quick ten minute shuttle ride to the airport. The morning of the 14th we went down to the continental breakfast were there was a staff member making waffles and bringing them directly to your table once they were done. Lots of selection of pastries, yogurt, granola bars and cereal. The pool and hot tub area was clean and well maintained. The water was very clean and it was gated off from the road and alley way. The outside of the hotel looks outdated but don't let that fool you about the rooms. The rooms were very clean, large and up to date. The only thing that I would say negatively would have been the noise level from the street. It is right off a main road, therefore the traffic was rather loud at night but otherwise it was a great hotel and experience.
Everything about my stay was positive. The shuttle from the airport was quick, the room was clean and comfortable, the wifi was the fastest I've ever experienced at a hotel (hotel listing mentioned data ports in room, but there were none), and the breakfast was excellent. They have a breakfast room which was run by an employee (Lupe) and was extremely clean. There is a washer and dryer there ($2/each) just in case you need them but it doesn't appear on hotel listing. Elevator is a bit slow, but I just used the stairs. There was a computer/printer for me to use in the lobby to print my boarding passes for my trip home. My only advice, book early for the best rate.
My room, 214 - looked brand new. Super clean carpet, bathroom with cream, shampoo and shower caps. Nice desk - and leather chair. Did not know the city and it was important to be safe and easy access. Beeing right at the exit of the 405 and Manchester - it was perfect even if I had to come back very late at night.
When the higher class hotels closer to LAX are sold out, then this Hotel is a reasonable option. Don't expect a 4 star room, it's a solid 3 star. Rooms are large and clean enough, try to avoid the West rooms facing the Freeway. Breakfast was basic but enough for a feed. I must complement the staff whom I found very helpful. Hotel shuttle runs on the hour. You have to ring for a pick up. Got what I paid for so I can't be unhappy.
This hotel is situated quite close to the Airport, but there are no bars or restaurants within walking distance, so that was a little disappointing, but for our first night it was fine. Rooms clean and staff friendly, and free breakfast was a bonus.
Never been to a Best Western but this was a good hotel!! Choose this hotel since it was close by to the 405 highway, has 24 hour LAX shuttle (Chris helped me out with shuttle information), free continental breakfast (Lupe i believe was her name was very helpful to me and the others), cheaper parking fee than most places (just $7 even though i wish it was free but hey what can you do), and has a good check-in (12pm) / check-out time (11am). Room was spot on, beds were comfy, enjoyed my coffee maker in the room, enough plugs to plug in my phone/laptop/ipad, hotel has an elevator and stairs!! My only two complaint are A) check in clerk was very helpful and awesome for giving me a discount yet I felt like i was a little rushed with my reservation (believed his name was Dean) and B) the area is a bit shady but can't blame the hotel for that. Overall was a very pleasant stay (:
The room we had was ok. Basic with 2 beds and a bathroom. Wifi in the room was fast enough. It was pretty close to a lot of restaurants and to the airport. It offers an hourly free shuttle to the airport as well. Reception that day was a very cool and friendly left-handed guy. Stay was comfortable!=)
I found the service very good, the room was very clean with very comfortable bed. My wife and I were very pleased with the hotel quality and definitely will consider Best Western again in our trips. The location was very convenient since it was very close to the major high way interstate 405.
I am satisfied with quality of service and care. recommend to my friends and family.reception and pool needs up gradation.lsjfldskjfsd;sdjfkjfds;lfjdslfjkdf;ljd;lgjkdfgkandlasdnpsadnsafnsdfndspngdipsgnfgpirngrigfjnvfpbfgobj
Too noisy (no insonorisation). You hear everything from every neighbour room (beside, over and under). You hear everything from outside (people talk, noise from the street) and cars are very noisy on this street. noise from Street and from any other room Employees are wonderful : the man at the front desk was so nice and helpful. People at the breakfast took really good care of me and what I needed. the shuttle driver so nice and helpful.
We decided to give this hotel a try, since our usual hotel had gone up in price. We were pleasantly surprised by the room and the excellent staff. When we arrived at LAX we found a courtesy phone for this hotel near the arrivals information center, we were told to go to the red center island for hotel shuttles, about 20 mins later our shuttle arrived. The hotel is a little dated and the neighbourhood is a little rough, I wouldn't advise going out a night. The staff that were really helpful were Dee and Lupe, they couldn't do enough for us. The breakfast included waffles, eggs, toast, muffins, yogurt etc. We also ate across the road at Roscoe's House of Chicken and Waffles for dinner. We had some time to spare and went to the Westfield Mall on the local bus #115 & #6 about 20 mins ride. There wasn't and traffic noise from our room. We have booked to stay there again.
While the hotel staff were very friendly and polite, the setup of the building is strange and uncomfortable. The entrance of the rooms are connected through an exterior hallway (motel-style) around the parking space. The breakfast area is OUTDOOR at the center of the parking garage (in the midst of exhaust smoke etc.) The rooms were clean and accommodating but the rest of the building make it unpleasant at times.
Not fancy looking, but excellent service and great location for going to the Forum, which is two miles away. Despite being near the FWY and on a busy street, noise was not a problem, and I am usually very sensitive to noise.
Great location close to LAX. Nice clean room. Nice staff. Good breakfast. Very clean pool and spa. Comfortable bed. Stayed in room #214 which had a view and was quiet. Would stay there again and recommend. Only suggestion is do not charge for parking which was $7.00
I have stayed at different hotels like the Marriott and Extended Stay America their quality of my stay were the same. But for the lower price Best Western gave me the same quality stay as the high cost hotels.
I guess there is nothing particularly bad about the hotel. It offers all the standard low-cost amenities for someone passing through on the way or from lax. The area is not interesting in particular. I would say choose somewhere more interesting unless you have an early flight out or just arriving from somewhere very late, which was our case due to traffic delays, coming in at 2 AM.
This is a sub-par Best Western hotel and I would avoid it. Very noisy, poorly lit, and parking is difficult. To top it all off, the beds are very hard and our bathroom sink and tub were backing up - disgusting.
The Shuttle service was excellent. The hotel is very well located to get to the Airport and to Car Rental Company; also, there's an exit on Highway 5 for Manchester Street. Very good service during our stay.
So I am a die hard Best Western fan so I try to stay at a Best Western Hotel everywhere I travel --- but i regret to say that you can do much better if you are looking for a hotel close to LAX. Poor neighborhood, poor quality both inside and outside the hotel.
We decided to book this hotel for a day rate, as our flight ,after a cruise, did not fly out until 6:30 PM We did not use the room except to wash hands but really enjoyed the lovely pool and were happy we would be transferred to the airport by a very professional Best Western driver. The desk clerk was very friendly. We definitely will stay overnight next time at this hotel when we head out on a cruise!!!
The gal at front desk tonight handle a situation in front of me really well with an issue, so A+ for that. She also took a few phone calls during it and was a pro. Got to our room and didn't find that fact I see 2 hairs in the shower in obvious places that housekeeping missed. Not a big deal the water took them down the drain, but that is a first for me. Close to airport and freeway and so far can't hear either.
The only negative is that I had to wait about 45 minutes for the shuttle... Very nice front desk manager. Offered a bottle of water, which was great since I arrived super late. Clean room, a little older, but it was very comfortable. Breakfast was remarkable for a motel! Eggs, bagel toasters, waffles. Unexpected for a small place. Staff were very friendly. Shuttle driver great as well.
Staff are well trained, seems motivated to do their job. and happy to welcome guess. Outstanding for management to offer snacks, water, coffee & juices during the day & evenings. Hotel a little too close to the freeway, so occasionally to hear vehicles traveling on the freeway from the room.
We had three nights here - you ring from the airport and a bus is sent out to collect you. The rooms and breakfast were great. Anytime we wanted to go somewhere, ie to catch the Hop on Hop off bus there was free transport available to us. They even came out to collect us when we finished a bus ride at the bus station. Really helpful people and it made out first few days in California much less stressful.
Some generous reviews on this hotel, it's ok but did not stand out for me. Two major points, one the pool was closed for maintenance and we are never told about this, so if you are banking on using the pool check it has reopened. Two, we were not told to call for the airport shuttle, so we waited for over half an hour before eventually calling, the shuttle did then arrive, but guest should be clearly told they need to call for pick up at the airport. The Hotel is right next to a busy loud road and the double glazing did little to reduce the noise, but the room was clean and a good size and the AC unit ran fairly quietly. The bus for downtown (one change) stops right outside the hotel. Breakfast was good but basic as we have come to appreciate and expect from Best Western hotels. The shuttle back to the airport runs on the hour every hour. They charge extra for parking and there is a late night if not all night restaurant across the street.
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. the service was great and the bed was fantastic! The best sleeping bed I have ever had at any hotel. Much better than Hilton or Marriott. The breakfast is good, could use a meat item.
When I rolled up into the parking lot of this hotel, my first impression was what the heck have I gotten myself into. My first response walking in was that the lobby was small and didn't have much of a breakfast area. The front desk people were excellent to work and check in with. Very pleasant and comical. Made me feel quite relaxed. The room was excellent! Totally clean and very comfortable to just relax in before my flight the next day. Bathroom was very clean and the shower had excellent water pressure. The downside to this hotel is there appears to be only 1 restaurant in walking distance. Food was good, but not something I would want to eat every day. For the weary traveler on a budget, I would definitely recommend this hotel based on the first experience I had with it.
Overall, the hotel was decent. The rooms was quiet and reasonably clean. The Internet work well. My only ding would be for the shuttle service to the airport. The shuttle runs hourly on the hour. So, if you have an early flight, you'll miss the 'breakfast' as breakfast starts at 6 AM at the same time the shuttle starts.
We arrived at 9 am and got a room immediately. That is unheard of. Very nice front desk and staff. Very accommodating. Nice size room with newer rug and deco. Microwave and fridge. We got off the plane and saw the van so pick up was immediate. However, the driver told us that if he hadn't been in the area they do not make rounds UNLESS you call! Be sure to take the time to call for pick up or you will be waiting outside all day. King bed comfy, good rate of $107. NO compaints. Mall 10 minutes away by taxi.
We decided to stay here due to late arrival and it seemed the right decision. There was nothing good nor bad about the hotel. The room facing the road was bit noisey. The aircondition unit was bit loud too. Other than that room was good in size and was clean. We were not aware to the Hotel's shuttle service to airport until next morning. But taking a taxi there wasn't expensive since it's quite close to airport. Overall it was an average experience.
Nice hotel and close to the airport and even closer to the rental car returns. If you are the type of person that wants 5 star service from a 3 star hotel then this may not be the place for you. This place is adequate in all respects. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly. The hotel is beside the LAX flight path and right beside a major freeway, but the rooms were fairly quiet. My room was facing the freeway but I didn't hear any noise from that at all. The rooms that face the flightpath have double doors so I can't see that as a problem either.
Room clean and tidy, new pillows needed. Helpful staff with booking tours. We were told not to drink the tap water by staff but no water in room. Room noise near busy street. Hotel is dated, the pool and spa not working.
Just waited one hour for a shuttle to the hotel and that was unacceptable. i was hot and tired and almost midnight when i got to the room. i had called when we were getting off plane but no person showed up. the hotel looks ok a little scary but room was fine and i got a few hours sleep finally. breakfast was ok as well
This best-western is somewhat close to LAX and has a 24 hour shuttle to and from the airport. Hotel is a bit dated on rooms but I noticed construction workers working on several rooms so my guess they are updating rooms.Good location just off the 405 for a place to stay when you have a early flight out the next morn.
nice room for the money spent,,noisy room next to busy street, great location to lax airport, staff is very friendly,,in kind of rough neighborhood in inglewood,do what you need to do in daylight hours,,stay in at night and lock your doors.
I needed a place to lay my head for the night while my home was fumigated. It was a very hot day and the AC unit in the room was money. Oh, and a walking dead marathon was on when I powered up the television. (Good times)
