Perfect for a visit to Algonquin and Arrowhead PP. hiking. From the front desk to the extremely clean room to the nice breakfast with make your own waffles this is a great place to stay. The breakfast lady was really friendly and efficient. The front desk gave good dinner suggestions. We loved our dinner at The little Place at the Lights. We will recommend to family and friends.

Staff at front desk were very helpful and knowledgeable. The Hotel is very clean, rooms were clean and neat. Bathroom was tidy and towels were clean fresh and hung neatly. King-size bed very comfortable, and well made.

We stayed in this hotel a number of times while visiting family. Hotel is well situated to amenities and has all necessary features. (Pool, exercise room, conference room etc.) hotel is very clean and staff were friendly and welcoming. Will stay at this hotel again and highly recommend it.

My daughter and I stayed for the Skate Ontario Sectional Championships. The breakfast was great with hot and cold options that worked before and after competing. The room was clean and the hotel staff were so friendly! We look forward to coming back!

Great place to stay, quiet and very convenient. The rooms are clean, breakfast area very clean and tidy with great options from hot to cold selections. The internet worked well and there was a great variety of TV channels to choose from.

This is a good hotel. Clean, comfortable and reasonably priced with shopping and food close by. The breakfast is excellent and the coffee in the breakfast room is absolutely amazing with lots of choices ie: cappucino, latte, etc. Will definitely be back! Staff were friendly, smiling and taking good care of premises while we were there.

This is the best place to hang out when exploring the areas around and the team at the Muskoka inn is great in keeping their patrons happy and in making their stay comfortable. A BIG thank you to the team at the Muskoka Inn.

My wife and I liked our stay a lot and would stay again if need be. We especially liked the hot breakfast. Rooms were clean and staff was nice and price ... well could be a bit better but all in all not bad.

Not the easiest hotel to find as the satnav didn't accept the postcode, however after much searching found it. First impressions were not favourable as it's location is far removed, with little infer-structure, from the small town of Huntsville. Warmly welcomed by the reception team who were great throughout our stay and are a credit to the organisation. Room was large, nicely appointed with all modern amenities, nice comfortable bed and bathroom accessories. Now the bad bit…… This organisation really needs to review their practice of serving breakfast off, Paper plates, using wooden cutlery, paper cups. This is an unacceptable practice and needs to be stopped immediately. It's deeming and lets the hotel down big time as can be seen by my rating. Breakfast is probably the one meal that guests enjoy, so saying that, the team did its best but sadly have to bear the brunt of the complaints along with the reception team. To be told that it's a government ruling doesn't hold water as all restaurants, pubs, cafes in this area serve china along with proper cutlery. As for helping the environment, how does the extra disposable rubbish work??? Washing plates etc is much more environmentally friendly. With minimal cost the kitchen area could be improved allowing for better preparation and making the situation so much better for both staff and guests. Come on Best Western executives do something positive and make a difference

BW advertise their cleanliness like a lot of hotels but after spending years travelling, this stay was a nice surprise. They actually lived up to their advertising. Good choice of breakfast and reasonably priced. Friendly, helpful staff in all departments.

I booked this as I needed somewhere to stay that night. It was quick and easy to do. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast good (I like the to go bag option) and the pool was nice (but no changing facilities, but not a big problem when you're staying there). The staff were friendly!

Our family of 6 were ALL very pleased with our stay here. Staff was very nice & we all highly recommend a stay here. We all enjoyed breakfast as there was plenty to choose from for different types of appetites from fruit lovers to meat eaters to sweet tooth. Our rooms were very clean & bed was super comfy. The Best Western is in a great location directly off of Highway 11/60. You can be in Algonquin in under half an hour and Arrowhead Provincial Park in ten minutes. Ski slopes not far away and doentown Huntsville is five minutes away. You've got the Independent Loblaws grocery store, Walmart gas station and restaurants all across the street. Excellent breakfast and service!

Very happy with our two night stay. Hotel clean and staff very accommodating. Only problem are the key cards to get in. Other then that our stay was good. The kids used the pool. The breakfast was good. We were very happy to have a small fridge and microwave in our room. The bathroom was very nice also and clean.

Cleanest hotel I've ever stayed at. Very comfortable beds. Everything in working order. Very nice staff, went above and beyond. Very tolerant of hockey teams, made everyone feel comfortable. Decent breakfast

One of the cleanest hotel we stayed in. This hotel is close to everything including local dining options. The front desk clerk was knowledgeable regarding the event we were attending which was helpful. Everyone we encountered from the cleaning staff, the food prep staff and front desk were super friendly.

Been here a bunch of times now and will continue to stay here when in Huntsville. The rooms are some of the cleanest I have ever seen. Nuce sized and equipped with with what you need. Breakfast has something for everyone and it's all fresh. Everyone who works here looks happy to be there and they are very welcoming and friendly.

I was in town to scatter my father's ashes and wanted a comfortable, quiet hotel. There was a hockey team staying in the hotel for a tournament and they were horrible! The parents were nowhere to be seen and the kids made an insane amount of noise and damaged some hotel property. When I mentioned the issue to the front desk clerk in the morning she apologized and immediately moved me to another floor. Steven, the night clerk on Saturday was amazing. We hadn't thought to eat and we were starving at 10pm. All of the restaurants were closed so we went in search of a vending machine. Upon being told of our issue, Steven escorted us to the kitchen and chatted with us while providing bagels and fruit to get us through the night. Absolutely STELLAR service all around in spite of challenging circumstances.

We went to Algonquin park for a couple days and decided to stay in Huntsville overnight. And we always love to sleep over at a best western hotel. We don't go away that often so but if we go we love to sleep at best western.

Our cottage in the Huntsville area is being renovated, so we are making regular trips up to check progress. We had been staying at the Hidden Valley Resort and other local hotels but never again! The Best Western Huntsville offered a significantly lower price, with better amenities, modern rooms, friendly staff and an included breakfast. The pool was nice (and private), rooms were quiet and spacious. All told, this was a great stay!

When traveling long distances you get tired. It is so nice to end and begin your day greeted by smiling and helpful staff. The hotel was clean the rooms were comfortable. Would recommend it to everyone.

This is an extremely well-run hotel. Everybody we dealt with is very service-oriented and tried to do whatever they could to help make our stay more enjoyable. The hotel is clean. Location is great, not too far off the highway and also very easy to get to the main eating/shopping areas. Good variety of options at breakfast - breakfast area can get quite busy. The lady who sets up and maintains breakfast does a fabulous job on her own keeping things stocked and clean. Great place to stay in Huntsville.

The hotel is clean and you can tell by the freshness as you walk in. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was spot less and comfortable. Great water pressure and lots of hot water for showering. The towels are very soft. The c,earning staff are friendly and always say hello when you pass by The breakfast which is part of your stay is great and the lady looking after it was wonderful, and even mentioned to my wife if she needed help as she has a cane she was there. There was a great selection of choices and some fresh fruits as well. The entire breakfast area was extremely clean and you can tell the staff look after it all. The only item I wish they had was all day coffee but not a problem.

From reception to the end of stay, every staff were very polite, humble, professional. The breakfast and other amenities fulfilled as promised. Breakfast was amazing. The lady provided breakfast was very warm in welcome and helping and smiling. She was always there to help the guest. We even used the space to make warm our lunches or dinner. We sat in the night at the breakfast area for our dinner. I would suggest to extend Breakfast time upto 11 am and pool time beyond 10pm.

This is a very clean and updated hotel. All the staff are excellent, very friendly and go out of their way to assist in any way. I would highly recommend this very well located hotel. It is perfect for exploring Huntsville and the surrounding area!

We have stayed at this hotel on previous visits to Huntsville. It is a go to for our family. Love the accommodations, the included breakfast and the pool. The staff is great...may be a bit pricey compared to other accommodations but I feel well worth it

This hotel had friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, an excellent breakfast buffet, and was in a convenient location. We were especially pleased to once again have housekeeping come in during our three night stay.

Recently stayed there due to a wedding in the Huntsville area over the weekend . It was my first time staying in a best western plus for quite sometime but I really knew what to expect . This really should be 3.5 stars because that's what the hotel really is slightly above average but slightly below the very good range . Most Huntsville hotels are in dire need of a renovation and first impressions for me weren't very strong as the desk clerk our first night wasn't very friendly and as we walked to our room you could tell the property and the hallways were a bit dated . However as stated before most hotels in Huntsville have this issue . After this though our experience got better the beds were very comfy and I loved the four different pillows you can choose from . Very comfortable bed with nice duvet . The property itself was very clean so kudos to the staff there keep up the good work . The pool seemed very nice although I did not use it but a nice feature . I always find that the hotels on howland are great bc you can walk to Dairy Queen Wendy's pita pit or Kelsey's so that's very convenient for travellers . I liked the breakfast area as well very nicely organized and I enjoyed the full breakfast when I was there both days . Excellent job on that guys keep it up . The staff were much friendlier my second day there and on checkout so that was nice to see . I think the holiday inn express although I haven't stayed in that one yet and the best western plus are your best bets for accommodation in the area . It was a nice stay guys thank you again maybe a renovation could make this hotel even better but it is certainly a safe bet to stay at when deciding in Huntsville . A fast elevator also helps and you get minimal traffic noice from 11 . Usually I stay in Hilton properties but my expectations were met for this chain and as expected . It was nice to change it up a bit . Thanks for a nice stay guys appreciate it .

This has been at least the 4th time I have stayed at this beautiful hotel. with a great breakfast. Everything was still fresh and clean like the last time. Costs a bit more, but worth it. The pool was a nice refreshing treat and it is within walking distance of Kelsey's Roadhouse or East Side Mario's. There's even a Walmart to restock all your supplies right across the road.

Stayed at here for one night. Hotel is clean and staff friendly and helpful. Check in and out was quick and easy. Room was spacious and clean; had TV, free WIFI, mini bar fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hairdryer, indoor pool and small exercise room. Hotel is easy access from Highway 11 and easy access to highway 60 to Algonquin Park. Breakfast is included with room. Hot/cold buffet, lots of choices. Short drive to downtown Huntsville. Would recommend.

Nice place to be while in the Muskokas, with friendly staff. The breakfast is quite ok, and the hotel is located ver near to a mall where you can buy whatever you might need. The parking place is good and with enough room for many cars.

Spent 2 nights in June 2022 at the Best Western in Huntsville, Ontario. Clean hotel, friendly staff and quick access to Hwy 11. Breakfast included with lots of choices and great coffee! There's a pool and a small fitness area. This was our second time at this location. We'll be back. Good spot to stay if your trip includes hiking; Algonquin and other parks are nearby.

Place was clean, staff were friendly and very helpful. I left articles in my room after checking out and when I checked with them they set it aside and arranged a pick up time. I was very thankful for this and would recommend anyone to stay.

Super easy to get to. The staff were so friendly and the place was extremely clean and comfortable. I also had a great sleep, super comfy beds. Also had a beautiful breakfast with the best blueberry muffins, and the coffee was perfect! Would definitely go back! Had all my expectations met and so much care and attention was made to toward ensuring our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Really over all just exceptional service and awesome stay!

Perfect stay, hotel was conveniently located just off highway, it was clean, friendly staff, close to restaurants, close to downtown Huntsville, parks and sites. I will definitely be staying there again, the pool was definitely a hit with the kids as well.

We boked this hotel as they advertise a hot tub and "Deluxe full breakfast" and neither of those are at this hotel! The hot tub has been closed for months apparently, and the cold eggs and hashbrowns being served by the mask-less staff are FAR from deluxe. The room had a really gross smell and there were dead flies around. Would NOT recommend.... there are a lot of hotels in that area - you'd be better off staying somewhere else!!

Beds were super comfy; rooms were quiet and clean; staff were very kind and helpful...and we loved the breakfast sandwich options! Overall a great night out with the family! Woud highly recommend and will be back!

5 stars for their Accessible Room. Bed was at a good height - neither too high nor too low. Grab bar in shower was close to the grab bar for the toilet which significantly helped for my transfer from wheelchair to toilet and back. There was a shower chair in the roll-in shower that I appreciated (no built in bench). Bathroom sink was at a good height - could fit my legs under it and still reach the tap. Lots of space in the room for moving the wheelchair around in. For an Accessible room, this was one of the best I've come across. I highly recommend staying here if that is what you need.

If you enjoy making your own bed, cleaning your room and going up and down to the lobby to get fresh towels, then this is the hotel for you. We stayed here for 3 nights. When we requested housekeeping to change our sheets and vacuum we were told that if wanted that then we needed to do it.

Very enjoyable stay around NY day... clean, quiet, very friendly helpful staff. Location is also very good (across the street from a mall, incl gas station), and close to downtown. We gladly recommend this hotel.

The rooms were clean, organized, very spacious and comfy. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond. The breakfast was pretty good considering COVID restrictions. The jet tub was great! More of a 1 person than 2 though... unless you are 2 tiny people.

I booked this via telephone with best western direct. Price quoted did not include an additional destination tax of $8 a night. Overall hotel was really nice, service on reception and the takeout breakfast was good. Room was clean, internet worked well, location was fine. With taxes it was nearly $250 a night, which is expensive for this type of inn.

We were looking for a weekend getaway. We checked out hotels in the area and "settled" on Best Western. Boy were we in the a very pleasant surprise! Hotel was immaculate. When you walked in the room you could smell how clean and I don't mean a chemical smell. The check in attendant was welcoming and extremely friendly. Our room was great with a little well stocked and clean serving area. We can not say enough about how happy we were with the breakfast. Other hotels offer a brown paper bag with no options. Take it or leave it. Best Western Huntsville had a hostess who gave you options including fresh coffee, tea and a hot breakfast option. She mad a tray up for you. The tray was a basket style which included a liner to keep drinks upright. It was very convient for carrying up to our room. Great option during Covid protocols. The pool was clean with timed blocks for you to use. The hotel was very quiet and we slept very soundly. This was a great place to stay and we will be back!!!

Our 2 night stay was enjoyable. The hotel was very clean, inside and outside. The location of this BW was great, especially if you didn't have a car. My husband had a business meeting and I didn't have a car. Restaurants were close to walk to, shopping was across the road for any type of shopping. To get to this BW was so easy; just off Hwy 11. Rooms were very clean and and during this Covid time, I did not have any issues with their cleanliness in our room and throughout the hotel. There were many items available for breakfast; all individually wrapped. Staff was friendly. I would highly recommend staying here

The staff went above and beyond, friendly, helpful and professional. Property is close to shopping and dining options. Just an overall wonderful place to stay. The view as you drive around Huntsville is breathtaking especially this time of year.

The entire hotel is extremely clean, both in common areas and individual rooms.. All members of the staff are very friendly and professional. The hotel is conveniently located, right off Highway 11 and very near to restaurants, food and other stores. The rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds.

We stayed 2 nights here in October. I strongly recommend this hotel. Our room was absolutely sparkling clean and in great shape. The staff was friendly and helpful and the hotel seemed fairly full but was very quiet. It is also close to pretty much everything in Huntsville and walking distance to restaurants and shopping. This was our second stay there and we would not hesitate to stay again.

Staff and manager are always very friendly. Clean comfortable room. A great place with lots of things to do in the area. At this time of the year ( October - November ) the trees have changed color and are beautiful. Great for the camera buffs and seniors, and family's with kids.

Great location, 5 minutes to downtown, and Walmart across the street.Clean suite with fridge and microwave, keurig coffee machine with tea, decaf and reg coffee. No daily housekeeping due to covid, but always able to get supplies like towels and soap, coffee refills. Front desk staff Sarah, Steve and Stephanie super friendly. Gill the breakfast server was great and we had microwave breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, coffee and fruit. Hot tub closed, pool was open although we didn't have a chance to use it. Would stay again anytime.

We booked a suite with a spa bath. It was spacious, immaculately clean and very comfortable. Staff on reception and the breakfast service were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was OK, considering Covid restrictions - plenty of choice and hot items available.

This hotel is close to everything. Pool was not over-chlorinated as some are. Staff were friendly and efficient. I would absolutely stay here again. Beds were comfortable. If you are looking to stay on the water this is not the place but if you just want to be close to everything then this is definitely where you want to be

Stayed 2 nights in August for the Ironman 70.3 triathlon. Staff were friendly and efficient. The room and lobby areas were spotless and I was very pleased to find both a mini fridge and microwave in the room. Furnishings were what would be expected in a chain hotel with evidence of upgrading. There was no stay over service, perhaps due to Covid so I did have to request more coffee pods. I didn't use the facilities so I can't speak on that. Breakfast to go was available in the lobby. I did pack my own but I always appreciate a little snack too. Overall I was pleased and would stay here again.

We were here overnight this past August weekend. It's my first hotel stay since the Covidian era commenced. The service was friendly and efficient at all times, and notwithstanding Covid measures, we were able to use the gym. Suggestion, bring your own water or request some from the front desk (bottled) - there is none available in the fitness facility. It's equipment is adequate (barely), if you are a serious exerciser, you will be disappointed. Some equipment awaits servicing having been dormant for months. Hopefully this will be repaired soon. There is also an indoor pool. Breakfast is dispensed by their staff who will fill your tray to your heart's content. They alone can access the food area. You may then use the outdoor seating or eat in your room - what a world. The breakfast is uninspiring, unfortunately typical of the BW (and other similar hotels in this range). In truth, since this was a BW Plus I would have hoped for a finer selection. Selection of cheeses? Healthy breads? Hash browns? But it did the job. The rooms were clean, coffee dispenser, WiFi,... all the usual nick knacks were available. No concerns. And the custodian staff were very friendly. Kudos to them as well! It can be very challenging having to sanitize rooms as well as ready them for the next guests while masked. We enjoyed our stay. Unless you feel compelled to patronize the huge world class resort a few Km away, this is the likely standard of hotel in Huntsville. They are doing a good job notwithstanding the crazy Covid circumstances. In truth, since this is a BW PLUS, for the $200 plus change which we paid, we felt the PLUS designation was probably wishful thinking.

The hotel looks new and exceptionally clean! Greeted by such friendly staff and Manager and we soon felt like a family member coming for a visit. We were very impressed with our room upon entry. It looked and felt clean and pristine. Settled in and felt very much at home within minutes. The BEST beds ever! We all had an amazing sleep and it's been my best sleep in several months! It was quiet and no noise transfer into the room. Clean bathroom which is a must for me. Mini-fridge and microwave came in handy. A very nice coffee maker but we didn't use during our stay. Delicious breakfast and Covid protocols in place. Service with a smile and good selection. There is an outdoor patio that you can use but we went up to our room. Great location near family restaurants and shopping. If you forget to bring anything on your trip, you can find most/all of it across the street from the hotel. We loved our 2 day stay and miss the staff and hotel already! Easy commute on/off the highway and to downtown. No problem finding parking. Keep up the excellent work. Even with required provincial Covid protocols, our stay was very enjoyable and always felt we were in safe and good hands. You are more than just a 5 out of 5!

Hotel was clean and very close to popular restaurants. The downtown area was a 5 minute car drive from the hotel. Hotel offers a simple, but very good breakfast. There are many other amenities offered by the hotel that we didn't use. We were in the area for golf. The golf courses are amazing. My buddies and I played a very picturesque course; The Ridge of Manitou. If you are looking for a leisurely vacation, this area will offer you that.

Rooms were clean, well appointed, with all the amenities. Staff was friendly and courteous. I usually stay at the Holiday Inn Huntsville but they only took a two night reservation. I stayed at BW Muskoka next door and was impressed. We will now stay at this hotel each time we pass through Huntsville, ON.

Easy access off highway 11 and 60 if heading north to Sudbury or east to Algonquin or Ottawa. Handy gas station, several restaurants nearby, Wendy's and Dairy Queen. Walmart and grocery store close. Hotel clean, staff friendly, lots of parking, elevator, rooms reasonable size, microwave and fridge. Tv wifi work well, good breakfast to go.

You can tell when people are looking for solutions as opposed to problems. These people were great! So many hotels have used covid as an excuse to remove amenities/services. Best Western has found a way to provide as much as humanly possible, within the covid rules.

Close to the main highway and the amenities of Huntsville, not far from the walking trails at Limberlost Park or Algonquin. A favorite hotel for my husband and I. Clean, quiet rooms and the Covid protocol's were in place. Ordered take out for dinners and just relaxed. Soaked in the jacuzzi tub beside the fireplace. Would highly recommend. This is our favorite get-a-way !

Sarah on the front desk is very friendly and is always willing to help best she can, she goes above and beyond. I think his name is Matt, he also goes above and beyond, he works the over night shift. We have spent 4 nights a couple of different times and have always had a great stay. The first time was pleasure trip and this past one was business and pleasure.

My room was better than my wife expected. The room was extremely spacious even with a king bed, jacuzzi tub next to bed, a very comfortable couch and chair. The couch was a hide a bed. Good view and was extremely quiet considering the hotel was pretty full.

While this hotel is very well appointed and in a convenient location I felt the price was a little high especially for a loyal Rewards member of so many years. Would stay here again if the opportunity was presented.

Hotel was good, very good check inn and all covid things were good. Front staff were great. Hotel was very clean. We had two queens room was nice. Breakfast was a bag to go with a muffin and Nutra bar all good.

We have been stopping in Huntsville for a couple years now as a easy point to stay over before starting a paddle trip in Algonquin (on the West side of the park) as travelling with little ones is not ideal for 5-6 hour drives plus extended canoeing in one day! This was out first time at the BW and we didn't have much in terms of expectations (with COVID going on). So what can I say, the room was clean and tidy, parking on site was good, we didn't use the pool and breakfast was a quick grab and go style to limit social interaction. Staff quite but friendly and the entire experience was as standard as one would expect, and at the end of the day it is all about expectations!

The hotel is clean and staff are helpful. I generally feel safe (from the virus) at the hotel. However, don't expect anything at all from its grab and go breakfast. They gave us a dry muffin and a mini granola bar.

My wife and I recently had a two night stay here and felt very safe because of their extensive Covid-19 Policy. All Staff were very friendly and courteous and helpful when we had a couple questions. Now we were fully aware that the Breakfast would be a "grab 'n go bag. In it was a breakfast bar and packaged muffin with your choice of yogurt, fresh fruit, juices and coffee and that was ok with us as it shows they are doing their part to keep everyone safe. Also there was no housekeeping and putting our garbage in the Hallway at the end of our stay was also not a problem. Our room was spotless ! My "go to" for overall room cleanliness is to check the bathroom fan and it was very clean - no dirt build-up at all on the cover . The only negative I have is that the fan is noisy and comes on when the light is turned on. I wish it was on a separate switch as most other Hotels are. All in all a wonderful stay.

My husband and I stayed here for one night on a recent roadtrip. This hotel is a great option for anyone planning to visit Arrowhead or Algonquin park. The staff were very friendly and gave us some great recommendations for restaurants in town. The bed was extremely comfortable which was very welcome after a day of hiking in Algonquin Park I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area. Note that the pool and gym are temporarily closed due to Covid. Not an issue for myself as I was not planning to use those ammenities. But, I would recommend calling ahead to avoid disappointment if you want to use them.

Had an unexpected stay for i night after our car broke down. The front desk staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Although services were limited because of Covid 19, our stay was comfortable, safe and enjoyable.

We had a wonderful nights stay, the front desk staff were so friendly and helpful. During these crazy times we felt safe at the hotel and it is in a very nice location right off Highway 60 and the 400. We went to Arrowhead 10 minutes away and then Algonquin Beaver Pond Trail 1 hour away.

On Wednesday July 8th, 2020, after driving through Algonquin Provincial Park, my wife and I arrived at our booked destination, the three floor 63-guest room eco-friendly Best Western Plus Muskoka Inn situated at 86 Howland Drive in Huntsville, Ontario. This hotel is a short drive to downtown and conveniently located near Highway 11. It provides quick access to Algonquin Theatre, Arrowhead Provincial Park, Deerhurst Highlands Golf Course and the Hidden Valley Highlands Ski Area. Check-in was easy and quick and getting our card/room keys was a breeze. Our spacious and well-maintained King Room on the 3rd floor had a large sitting area. Other attributes were a mini fridge, a coffee maker, a microwave, a large HDTV, a desk with chair, free Wi-Fi and parking. We enjoyed the comfortable quality bedding with its many pillows. An adjoining private bathroom with a dark colored décor, a shower with basic toiletries, a hair dryer, a cosmetic mirror and a large black counter and sink. Due to associated health concerns under Covid-19 and the safety protocols, we were not able to use the heated indoor swimming pool, the outdoor pool, the hot tub, the fitness centre, the breakfast room as they were all temporarily closed. It was very quiet during our stay, as we were just a few guests in the entire building. That evening we drove downtown to Chuck's Roadhouse Bar & Grill for take out. The next morning, we did get a pre-packaged Grab & Go Breakfast before leaving. A few days later, I had to call them to get my Best Western invoice statement by E-mail. Because of the hotel quality, the cleanliness under the We Care Clean Program, and the organizational process, we would recommend the Best Western Plus Muskoka Inn and would rate this stay as 4 stars.

overall experience was fell short. had to check-in twice because "something" wrong with my credit card, when it was a technology issue they had to manage. but the main issue was the hotel listing clearly shows swimming pool being an available amenity when in fact it was not. upon arrival and when we head to the pool, we were "then" told the pool was closed. (didn't provide a reason) and to me, it was false advertising, where i could have booked a different hotel with an available pool. i was misled by the hotel amenity listing. in addition, the breakfast is more-less a poor effort to improvise to the regular standard. the saving grace was the expected cleanliness of our room (although do not really live up to the "plus" expectation which we have grown accustomed to) the room given was just a regular size hotel room. again, misled by the "plus" in the hotel name.

Upon checking out I politely reminded asked the rotund bespectacled male customer service agent for the bill. He responded with a glare stating what do you think I'm doing. I frequent alot of hotels on my travels and have never received this type of rude response I reminded him that his service skills were severely lacking and he would receive a bad review Its unfortunate since the hotel accommodations otherwise were very good In their business its all about cutomer service This Ogre should be dismissed as he is costing this establishement BUSINESS My rating went from a 9 to a 1 - After this experience

Had a lovely stay! room was comfortable and quiet, staff were very helpful. All efforts were made, at least by staff, to keep us safe, Location was handy to a beach and downtown. We appreciated the tables outside. breakfast could use some improvement!

The Best Western Plus in Huntsville is conveniently located near a shopping area just off the highway. Very easy to find, with lots of parking and within walking distance to stores and take out food. Short drive to downtown. The hotels common areas are well kept and clean. Most facilities are closed due to Covid but it all looked very nice. Our room was very clean and it was a comfortable size. We were easily able to get back and forth to the car using the stairs. The room was well maintained and everything worked. Air conditioner wasn't noisy and it kept the room at a pleasant temperature. The hotel has strong Covid measures in place so we felt comfortable in the room and travelling through the common areas. On leaving we were asked to leave garbage in the hallway so I assume that allows for staff to wait for some time before they safely clean the room after each guest.They are taking great care with the safety of staff and guests which is very reassuring.Good place to stay in Huntsville.

All services provided were great. It is close to the downtown, shops, and grocery stores They provided a specific box for breakfast and also a specific procedure for cleaning because of COVIDI completely satisfied with the services and location and highly recommend to others

Stayed here on a 4 night/5 day m/c trip July 2020. Hotel was good at adherence to COVID-19 condition. Rooms very clean, bed comfortable. Fresh coffee in the lobby. The typical BW breakfast that we have come to expect and enjoy, under the circumstances has been reduced to a brown bag. It's simple and enough to tide you over until you can make your way over to something nearby. Nice place to stay!!!!

The hotel was clean and in good repair. The beds and pillows were SUPER comfortable! Even during covid-19 I felt safe here. The staff wear masks and/ or face sheilds, the rooms on either side of us were not booked and checkout did not require interaction with staff. Even though they aren't able to provide the usual buffet, the hotel provided a bagged breakfast with a piece of fruit, yogurt, granola bar, muffin and juice. I just wish they would waive their 2 night minimum stay in the summer during the pandemic

My spouse and I stayed at the best western plus Muskoka in early June of 2020. Since we are still in covid the hotel was very quiet. Staff were diligent about telling us the procedures and policies that were in place. We unexpectedly added a second night to the start of our stay. The King suite we reserved wasn't available the first night so we stayed in a queen room the first night. Queen room was fine. Clean and tidy. The second night in the king was much nicer. Bed was more comfortable and the space just seemed nicer. We would absolutely stay here again

I always stay at Best Westerns because they're always so clean and the staff are so nice. I recently stayed at the Best Western Plus Muskoka in Huntsville during the Covid 19. I had to stay for work. I felt very comfortable staying there, they have sanitizer available at all times by the front desk and the front desk agent has a bottle for their use as well. I feel safe knowing they're leaving the room empty for 72 hours after someone checks out. knowing i'm going into a room that is 100 percent Covid free is such a relief during these times. they just simply asked me to call when I was checking out and they asked me to put my garbage outside my door and turn off the heat/air conditioner (due to the 72 hours the room is empty) a few days later I received my receipt in my email. I noticed the housekeeping staff was wearing gloves and masks as well when they were cleaning the rooms down the hall which is a relief as well. I was told at check in that there would be no housekeeping stay over service but if I needed anything I could come to the front desk at any time to ask for extra towels/coffee/other amenities which was nice knowing there was someone there at all times. The pool and gym were closed but they were offering a grab and go breakfast which was a nice touch getting a piece of fresh fruit in the morning with a water and a fresh muffin. they offered yogurt and a bottle of orange or apple juice. I will definitely come back to stay here for sure and recommend it to my friends and family.

I stayed here for a wedding in September for two nights. On the Sunday night after returning home from the 2-hour drive, I realized that my silver chain and pendant that my children got me was missing from my makeup bag. I called the hotel around 8:30pm and spoke to a male who answered the phone. I explained that I believe I left my necklace at the hotel. He put me on hold and came back and said great news, the housekeeper found it and put it in the safe. I was elated as it was a gift from my children. He copied down my name, number and said he would be placing it back in the safe for pickup. I said that we live 2 hours away, and he said no worries it's in the safe. Winter came and driving north of Barrie is always hit-and-miss, so I never ventured out to make the drive and then COVID-19 hit and I definitely wouldn't be going anywhere. This past Monday, I thought that I should touch base to let them know I would be coming as soon as this COVID-19 was over. Well, here is when things got interesting. The person who answered at the Best Western in Huntsville that day said there is NOTHING in the safe and that after 3 months the HEAD Housekeeper goes through the safe and “gets rid of anything in their over 3 months”. I said I called and spoke, and he assured me that it was safe and can stay there till I made it back up north. They said sorry! I called head office in the states and spoke to a lovely lady who said she would email the Huntsville Best Western as this was unheard of, and she would be equally upset if this were to happen to her. I waited 3 days still no call back. So I called the head office again and the lady there said they received an email back from Huntsville and it said they don't keep anything over 30 days and too bad, and they don't have my necklace. So you're telling me the Head Housekeeper is throwing out rings, watches, necklaces, phones, clothes that have been left behind cause on the first call the agent said that they can't possibly keep everything, and she referenced a laptop. This is theft!!! Huntsville Best Western haven't even had the decency to call me themselves. So knowing that the head housekeeper has taken my necklace (front desk told me) without my permission — and I had already made arrangements for pickup and at NO time did he mention a time frame, then I have no other option than to call the OPP and press charges against the head housekeeper. What else has she “taken”? This is beyond comprehension...a white envelope with a chain inside and written on the outside is my name and number, and they had my address from the reservation and my license plate number (they ask when you check in)....and still they never had the common sense to call or send it back to.

Amazing hotel and staff. The staff went above and beyond in helping us in any way that they could including looking up information on the internet about local activities while we checked in. looking forward to returning to this hotel.

This is the best hotel for the money in Huntsville. I know the area well, and I always stay here now. The hotel is top notch and very consistent. I use all of the facilities, and my family visits here as well.

We made a trip to Huntsville to take advantage of the lovely hiking trails in the area. We spent Saturday and Sunday hiking all the trails in Limberlost forest and wildlife reserve. So many wonderful trails.

Always friendly service, staff goes out of the way to help. Located at a convenient spot just off the highway. great warm breakfast, rooms are clean and spacious, beds are most comfortable lots of restaurants in walking distance, Slow pace town, great place to visit. !! I dont even stay anywhere else. !!

We stayed for two nights, room was clean, heating was loud, plumbing from other rooms was also loud. Children running up & down hallways up until after 10 pm was annoying but that is not the hotels fault. Not enough seating for people to have breakfast. Staff were friendly

We made a reservation early and it meant nothing. I showed up and got a HORRIBLE room. Nothing like the photos. On the first floor (terrible) and people can look in the windows. The front desk clerk basically told me I had no choice - “this was the last room”. We made a specific reservation and have stayed before (also a disappointing stay). There are other hotels in Huntsville - go somewhere else as a reservation means nothing to this hotel/motel. I will never come back.

Booked this hotel because it was one of the few with a hot tub - jets weren't working on it either of the nights we stayed. Pool was dirty. Breakfast was okay, lady working at the breakfast station our last morning was rude. Holiday Inn or Comfort Inn would have been just as good for a lower price. Front desk and cleaning staff were friendly. Room was clean.

Great breakfast, comfortable rooms, easy access to Arrowhead provincial park. Overall had a wonderful trip and already plan on going back next year. It is unfortunate that to travel within Ontario it is so expensive, but this is true for anywhere you stay.

Travelled here for a hockey tournament. Rooms were great size, always clean and the front desk staff was fantastic. They helped with any issue and even allowed us to use the kitchen to prepare for a team pot luck. Pool area is perfect and clean and everyone had a great time. This is our 2nd consecutive year at this hotel and we will be back again next year!

Hotel looks very well kept, clean and close to amenities. I am one of the fitness oriented individuals; although the fitness centre is on the small side, but it's got the necessities for me to have a good and sweaty workout for an hour. Room was clean, check-in/out was a breeze and breakfast selection was good. I wanted a chocolate milk after my workout, the staff acknowledged there is none but will relay that feedback to management. We travelled there as a group (11 people) and the staff were very courteous to put us close together. We were also very conscious of our group size and reciprocated by keeping our group quiet with quick in and outs. Overall, great hotel in Huntsville and very close to Arrowhead Provincial Park. Would recommend and stay there myself again.

Great stay and excellent service. Staff went above and beyond to make sure we all had a great time. There were 16 of us and we had a blast. We will definitely come back next year for another ax excellent time in Huntsville.

As frequent visitors to the Huntsville, Muskoka area - we are quite familiar with the accommodations in the area. Around the holidays, many of the hotels and motels hike their nightly rates beyond value (ie - The nearby Comfort Inn was listed at > $170 / night on Boxing Day) The BW offered competitive nightly rates, was exceptionally clean, and room had been updated. Continental breakfast was included; however, the space to eat was a little crowded for the hotel guests. We noticed afterwards that another room had been opened up, where guests could be seated to eat. The food was basic. There is a pool and small fitness centre. Overall, happy with our stay compared to neighbouring hotels for the value.

My partner and I stayed at Best Western for a few nights in Huntsville in December 2019 because we were visiting Arrowhead Provincial Park and Algonquin Provincial Park. My overall experience at the hotel was great. It's close to the highway, and about an 8 minute drive from Arrowhead. It's close to Walmart and food stores which is very convenient. It's a very clean hotel and the soaps they use are amazing! The staff are very kind and friendly. My only complaints are that the breakfast isn't very good, the breakfast room is small so you will probably have to bring your food into the hotel room. Also, we chose best western because of the reputation and the pool. Unfortunately, every night that we went to the pool, it was dominated by families until closing at 10 PM. The adults dominated the hot tub (they were probably overcapacity in the tub) and the children dominated the pool. It's ridiculous because it seemed families dominated the pool all day. My partner and I waited, hoping the families would leave, but they never did. I love children, but after a long day I don't want to go into a room with parents screaming at their children from the hot tub to the pool, and the children screaming at each other. It's frustrating. Best Western needs to make an adult-only hour from 9PM-10PM so that adults have a chance to go into the pool. Overall, this hotel is much better than other hotels that we have gone to. I was just really upset about the pool. Ultimately, I would recommend this hotel.

The staff was friendly and accomodating. I checked in after 9pm after skiing and I wanted to use the hot tub. Although the pool would be closed at 10pm, the staff was willing to extend the hour just for my family. I appreciated this type of flexibility and customer oriented service.

Clean and comfortable, excellent service, huge room, great water pressure, nice pool and hot tub. Breakfast was very good for the current standard of hotel meal. Parking was very convenient to the front door.

This Hotel was very conveniently located adjacent to the Trans Canada highway. The staff were extremely friendly and ready to assist. The check-in was very speedy and the room was very clean, comfortable and great value for the nights stay. The breakfast was excellent with a great selection and good combination of hot and cold food.

My stay at Best Western Muskoka Inn was fantastic! The staff are so friendly and helpful, and knowledgeable about the area, answering any questions I had. The bed was extremely comfortable! Will definitely be back!

The hotel was in a perfect place, there were restaurants, stores etc. all at walking distance. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean, and especially the bathroom, was spotless. The breakfast was fantastic, so much to choose from and fresh. We loved our stay and will return one day.

This hotel is a good option when in the Huntsville area. We have been staying here for years and it is always clean, good breakfast, spacious rooms and you can't beat the location for access to Algonquin or Arrowhead parks. Loved the pool and spa tub. A bit pricy but worth it.

I travel to Algonquin Park to hike the Centennial Ridges Trail every fall and this year I decided to stay overnight. I thought I'd try the Best Western as it was convenient for me. I am really glad I did. I was warmly greeted upon arrival by Steve who even remembered my name from my booking and gave me a beautiful room on the top floor overlooking a small pond. My room was sparkling clean and even the tv remote was sterilized! The bed was extremely comfortable and bedding lush and I had a great sleep and woke up refreshed. The breakfast was hot and fresh and the entire property was well kept. They provide recycling bins in the rooms which I think is very responsible. I would highly recommend staying here if you are in the Huntsville area.

Helpful staff and comfortable rooms. Could have added another hot item to breakfast buffet and more seating for breakfast. Unfortunately hotel uses non-recyclable plates, cups, bowels and cutlery creating a lot of unnecessary landfill. For this reason we would not stay in the future

After a long week travelling it was refreshing to walk into a hotel and room that was clean and well maintained. The staff were overly freindly and helpful. Great location, not far from necessary amenities.

First time staying at a Best Western and it was great! We had called few days in advance to see about early check in (was attending a wedding) and they were able to accommodate us (not always guaranteed). Lots of parking, grocery store across street as well as Walmart. Easily accessible to fast food places but we ordered in pizza from Pizza Nova (story on it's own!). Breakfast was included - typical buffet with waffles, eggs, etc as well as pastries, coffee/tea and juice. Rooms were very clean and updated. We had a king room and lots of space to move around in. The only issue (reason for 4 stars) there was no AC in lobby or hallways - rooms were perfectly fine. Breakfast is beside lobby so it was quite warm in there to be able to eat. Having said that, we have to remember we were in Muskoka so they probably turned the AC off for cooler weather. Fluke it was 30 degrees out that weekend! Loved it and would book again!

Four of us traveled to Huntsville to see the leaves change and take the Muskoka boat tour. Everyone at the hotel were polite and helpful. The hotel is well maintained and clean. Loved the pool and hot tub. The hot tub is small but we were the only ones there at the time.

Great place. Very clean. Great staff. We come up to Algonquin each year and we always stay at the Best Western because it is so clean. It is consistently the same each year. High quality. One of the nicer Best Western hotels.

My daughter and I stayed 1 night before a canoe trip in Algonquin and were pleasantly surprized. The hotel was clean and well cared for. The staff was efficient and friendly. The location was perfect on hwy 60. Rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable. And Jill and the breakfast she served the guests in the morning was top notch. There was a huge selection of hot and cold items. The breakfast are was clean. And Jill herself was so sweet and friendly. It was probably the best Best Western experience we have had.

Best hotel stay in a while. Very clean and comfortable. Good price with excellent service. A filling breakfast was enjoyed after a great night of sleep. Everything in the room worked well. The clean tv remote was a nice touch.

This hotel is across from a shopping mall and near the highway. There are few good views. I was blessed with an awful room next to the elevator and overlooking the parking area and the Holiday Inn. I could have got a room for less money at Deerhurst. I am paying full price having booked directly. The room is dissimilar from the photograph on Trip Advisor. It is not worth the amount payable. I am very disappointed.

Wonderful one night stay - very clean throughout the hotel and guest room. VERY comfortable beds. Courteous and friendly staff. WIFI-fast. Walking distance to grocery store, gas, restaurants and a Wal-Mart. To note, there is a strong chlorine odour coming from the indoor pool that hits you as soon as you walk into the main lobby. Breakfast is served in the same lobby area and we found the odour a bit off-putting. Otherwise, a great stay.

Great stay, place was very clean. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom was more than adequate to move around. Continental breakfast was good. Close to all the amenities. Independent grocer is really nice.

Our second stay during our annual trips to Huntsville. Hotel is very clean and the staff are the most efficient, courteous, helpful and friendly I have ever encountered at any hotel. The location off Hwy 11 and Hwy 60 was perfect for the places that we had to go.

The staff was friendly and helpful when we needed them. The ac works really well. Wasnt to much of a fan with the breakfast. We were suprised there wasn't a microwave in the hotel room. Was great having a few stores and restaurants across the road from the hotel.

Booked on line from home and arrived Sunday night about 7 pm. No problems checking in and room was ready. Gave me great advise where to eat and how late the pool and hot tub were open and when brekkie was the next morning. Room was great. Everything spic and span and the bathroom evern smelt nice. That was a welcoming nice touch.

This is the third time in 6 years we have used this hotel as a base to explore Muskoka. A per usual we were not disappointed. Great location just off the highway and close to numerous eating options which all give discount for hotel guests. Also a number of large retailers just a two minute walk away if you have forgotten any essentials. Room was off a high standard and we had great quality of sleep with no disturbances despite hotel being clearly busy. Great choice at breakfast although it can get busy at times and you may have to wait for a table due to small sitting area. Only issue is they possibly have the slowest elevator in Canada! Will definitely use again next time we visit area and highly recommend it to all travelers.

Nice clean room in a good location. Staff were very friendly and breakfast was lovely. We liked the fact we could grab a coffee for the room before heading down to breakfast and the scrambled eggs were wonderful. Easy to drive to Parry Sound or Algonquin and free parking was a bonus. We would definitely stay at the Best Western Plus again and in fact they will be our go to hotel on our next trip.

Clearn hotel, nice staff, fair breakfeast. The breakfeast area is a bit on the small side so people where waiting in line for tables at 8 am. The pool is fine for kids, easy to over see the kids. The area around the hotel is dotted with other hotels, fastfood places and shopping malls. Its a short drive to the center of Huntsville, and about 30mins drive to Algonquin for the hotel.

Amazing breakfast, clean room, probably the quickest check-in & check-out ever! Staff at the front desk was friendly as well as the breakfast bar. Breakfast was the largest variety I've ever seen at a Best Western anywhere. Definitely recommend this place!!!!! Was Canada Day long wknd & it wasn't even crazy busy which was REALLY nice!!!!

Had a king suite which included a walking in shower as well as a hot tub in the suite. Reception was very helpful in directing us to the local nurse practitioner. Unfortunately she only accepted patients with appointments. Had to go to hospital.

I was here in early June for a wedding. Initially one of the staff members at the front desk was a bit awkward, but eventually became friendly. The staff members are very helpful, friendly and informative, saying hi and bye as we came and went, and complimenting me when I was all dolled up and leaving for the wedding. I can't comment on the housekeeping because we were only there for one night, but the room (2 queen beds) was clean and tidy, and the beds were comfortable. Tip: the curtains in the room look like blackout curtains, but are not! Bring a sleep mask if early morning light disturbs your sleep. Breakfast included with the hotel rate is basic but plentiful and helpful when you want to just hit the road running. I would definitely stay here again!

The best Western in Huntsville is very clean & nicely decorated. The staff is very polite, extremely professional, fun and helpful. The location is good with a couple of restaurants and Walmart across the street. The breakfast was really good and the staff working the breakfast we're really helpful and attentive. Highly recommend this hotel in Huntsville.

The BW Muskoka Inn is a great place to stay in Huntsville. The staff is friendly and helpful and the facility is nice and clean. The rate is very reasonable for the accommodations provided. We were upgraded to a larger room for being Best Western rewards members. The kids loved the pool and hot tub. The included breakfast has something for everyone. I liked the waffles, eggs and sausage, my kids liked the fruit loops and yogurt. It wasn't busy while we were there, but it was very quiet at night. The beds are comfortable and I slept great. I would happily return next time I'm in the area.

5 elder motorcyclers seeking accomodation in 2 rooms was masterfully dealt with at the front desk at a most reasonable price. As this was our last night on the road after 11 days it was the best we had experienced all trip. However, we knew it would be as we have stayed at this BW in years past.

Amazing experience -- This is the cleanest hotel you will every stay in. The beds are comfortable. A hot breakfast included in your stay. I travel for business and always book here -- great staff - feels like a home away from home!

Stopped at the Huntsville Best Western on our way to the New England states. The hotel was attractive, the room large and comfortable. Staff were all friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a very nice hotel breakfast with a few choices. Wold definitely stay here again.

Great service and very friendly staff! Optimal location close to restaurants and amenities. Beds and pillows are very comfy which makes for a great stay :) Breakfast is also included which is convenient.

Everything we needed, and great service, as we made our way north for a memorial service. We appreciated the range of hot & cold breakfast selection. The fitness room appeared to have a decent variety of equipment; unfortunately we didn't have time to use the it or the pool.

$143.00..May 10, 2019 Mother's Day Weekend 4% Destination tax on total price + GST is now the new normal in the Huntsville area...so that's a tax on top of a tax. King room and washroom were generously sized, clean, and updated in finishes. Nice towels and fresh white linens. Didn't use the small pool or tiny hot tub. 3 floors and an elevator. Included breakfast was hot, fresh and tasty. We had no problem finding a table in the breakfast room even though it is quite small. Staff were helpful and pleasant.

since my first stay at the best western I haven't stayed any where else the rate are affordable and they accommodate all your demands I will not hesitate on returning to the best western if again in that area

After struggling to find a decant place to stay, we finally had to drive back to the Best Western in Huntsville. This place is always the best option in the area for comfort and cleanliness. Plus the rewards card is a fun perk

This hotel is located right off the exit of Hwy 11 (10 min away from Arrowhead Park) and Hwy 60 (keep heading east on 60 and you'll reach Algonquin Park in about an hour) and located right across a Walmart, Supermarket, Kelsey's, and DQ (and a couple other shops and restaurants) which is also quite convenient. All the staff were extremely friendly and breakfast was great (they have a waffle maker!! Pro-tip: pour the batter into the waffle maker and sprinkle the chocolate chips over it. Some of the other guests sprinkled the chocolate chips over their waffles after it was done cooking and were impressed with my ingenuity LOL. Also, staff should consider posting larger instructions on the wall by the waffle maker as many guests seemed to struggle with how to use it...). At first glance, the breakfast dining area seemed small and people would stand around waiting for a table but there are actually more tables and seating area located in a separate room down the hall. Finally, as for the room itself, we loved it! We got the room with jetted tub and it was wonderful. My only complaint is that I can hear the elevatar's chime whenever someone used it at night but overall, a great place to stay.

Stayed here only one night and were very pleased. Hotel staff is very friendly and welcoming. Our room was one of the cleanest I've ever seen, as were the rest of the hotel common areas. We had no issues using the wifi. Breakfast is included, self serve, and had hot and cold selections, fresh fruit, juices and coffee, even a waffle station. Will only stay here when we go visit Huntsville again.

We stayed here when we were going North to check on our cottage. Location was just off the highway. What a delightful stay. The counter people were friendly and very helpful. The room was beautiful, clean, warm, and the bed was wonderful. Enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and the breakfast was very good. Scrambled eggs, sausage, home fries, toast, bagels, waffles, hot coffee and juice. We will be back. Thanks Best Western

First time staying at a Best Western and my husband and I were very happy with the whole experience. The bed was exceptionally comfortable with crisp clean bedding. The full breakfast was exactly that..from cereal, toast and bagels to waffles, scrambled eggs, sausages and hashbrowns. We did not leave hungry!

This is our second time staying at this location. It is neat and clean. The rooms are spacious. The staff is friendly and the breakfast has a good selection. Children love the pool. We enjoy being close to downtown and to beautiful trails.

Thank you so much for hosting participants from the games! The front desk staff were helpful and pleasant from providing information on schedules to setting aside a room for luggage for pick up after the final games. We took advantage of the hot tub and pool, the room to play cards in and the great breakfast each morning. The rooms were roomy, clean and beds were comfy. Wish i had made a note on the shampoo brand in the room as I loved it lol! Thanks again and hope to return in the future

I ended up needing a room at the last minute in Huntsville for the night and chose this hotel based on a quick glance at the reviews. I'm glad I did. It's quite new and kept very clean. I stay in a lot of hotels for work and this was one of the better stays. It's a basic hotel - if you're looking for a spa/resort feel this is not it. It does have a pool, hot tub and fitness room. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. I had a great sleep. I picked a basic room and it came with a little kitchenette area - fridge, coffee maker, counter for food prep. The hotel is right near the highway and very close to downtown Huntsville, good restaurants, and both Arrowhead/Hidden Valley are within a 10 minute drive.

Fabulous stay for 3 days. Room was cozy and clean. Breakfast buffet was great. Staff were amazing. Enough parking to accommodate our truck and double snowmobile trailer. Restaurants for dinner across the street. We had a very enjoyable stay!

We visited in February, deep winter. Hotel was accessible and comfortable. Rooms were clean, comfortable and well-prepared. Staff was friendly and everything was smooth. Only challenging note was breakfast service starts at 7:00 AM and we needed to be on the road by 7:00 AM causing us to miss out. Take note. Good value establishment.

We were looking forward to our stay but we were very disappointed with this hotel. The heater in our room was not working properly and was only blowing cold air and continued to do so even after it was looked at by a member of the hotel team. At breakfast the blueberry bagels were moldy and we found hair in the homefries. Upon checkout the front desk seeemed unconcerned with our unsatisfactory stay at this hotel.

Stayed at this hotel as it was close to our destination (Arrowhead Park). Great hotel! Staff super friendly from the front desk to the breakfast kitchen. Everyone seemed interested in the customers experience at their hotel. The staff all seemed to pitch in help each other out. Hotel was very clean! Beds comfortable. Great rates. I would certainly stay here again when in Huntsville.

The Best Western was fantastic! Rooms were very clean and comfortable, also very nice. The beds and pillows were VERY comfortable! Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We didn't get to use the pool facilities, only suggestion would be to extend the hours past 10pm. We went out for breakfast to a local diner vs the included breakfast, but typically they are good.

We stayed mid-week in January and found the hotel to be quiet. Our beds were extremely comfortable and we found the room to be spotless. Hotel staff are polite and professional. The breakfast area had typical breakfast offerings (cereal, some hot items including scrambled eggs and sausage, coffee, fruit, etc) and the employee managing the breakfast area was pleasant and attentive.

Rooms were spacious, modern and clean. Staff was friendly and efficient. Jill, in particular, was a shining star at breakfast, working hard to make sure everything ran smoothly and always with a smile on her face. The swimming pool is very small but still fun for kids and there's also a hot tub and a gym. Location is great. A 10 minute drive to Arrowhead. The hotel is also a one minute walk to a big plaza that has many stores including Walmart, Loblaws and a few restaurants. Very happy with our choice.

Stayed for 2 nights at this Hotel, enjoyed the breakfasts, close proximity to centre of Town and shopping but unfortunately ran out of time to use the indoor pool! Staff was very friendly and accomodating to our needs!

This was a great place to stay. We stayed one night and it had everything we needed. It was very clean and the free breakfast was very good. We used the pool, hot tub, and wifi. All were good quality. Staff were also very pleasant and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

We recently stayed here for a winter getaway in Huntsville. The rooms are spacious and clean. The location is in close proximity to all the activities we wanted to do. The breakfast was good too. Overall enjoyable experience.

My husband and I stayed for two nights and would definitely book again when visiting the area. We slept peacefully, something rare as we usually find hotels to be so noisy. The doors close quietly and the bed was extremely comfortable. Staff was very accommodating as we needed to make a change to our reservation (thanks, John) and the rest of the staff seemed friendly and efficient. We had a great time cross country skiing at Arrowhead, though the Fire and Ice skating we originally planned for was a bust due to the massive crowd. Shopping and dining in Huntsville is awesome--even came away with some skis from Muskoka Outfitters.

We traveled to Huntsville as a group of 5 couples with 10 kids to spend a few days over the New Year skiing and skating . This was the first time for me and my wife to visit this city and this hotel . Our friends booked this facility , we did not do any research ourselves so we really did not know what to expect. Turns out this facility is located just of the highway making it easy to get to . All the big stores and restaurants are literally walking distance away if you feel like walking , weather permitting :-) Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly staff with smiles on their faces . The check in was very quick and we got in to our room in minutes. The room was very clean , smelled nice . Fresh towels in the bathroom , clean sheets and pillows . Coffee maker , fridge , large screen TV . The beds were very comfortable. Everything you could ask for when staying at a hotel. Downstairs , away from the very welcoming lobby is the pool area . It is inclosed behind a glass partition with a huge floor to sealing window /wall overlooking the outside . Which is wonderful when it is white and snowing outside. The swimming pull is not very big but big enough for kids and parents to have lots of fun in it. I know we did. There is also a hot tub right by the pool which came in handy after a day of skiing . There is also a well equipped gym however with so many kids with us on this trip , we did not have a chance to make use of it . Maybe the next time. The cost for our stay was very reasonable especially when you take to account that there was no additional charge for parking and a full , hot breakfast was included every morning in a very cozy lobby area ,with a fireplace and a beautiful Christmas tree. The selection is more then plentiful and it will satisfy even the picky eaters. The breakfast is usually served from 7-10 am however on the morning of new years day , the staff extended the hours till 12 pm , realizing that a lot of the guests had a late night celebrating the New Years. Very thoughtful if you ask me. All in all , this was a wonderful stay and a great experience . Needles to say I will be recommending this hotel to all of our friends and relatives and most likely be visiting again. Big thanks to the staff , the people who were working on New Years Eve and still managed to put their best foot forward end make us feel most welcome and made our stay at the Best Western Plus Muskoka Inn an enjoyable experience . Keep doing what you are doing . We look forward to visiting you again soon.

The check in was pleasant and timely. The room was VERY dark, which was unusual for a hotel in our experience. (= great for sleeping) Also very quiet when we stayed, although that can always be dependent on the level of intellect of fellow travelers.(intelligent people are generally considerate of others) The breakfast was too busy, possibly just a case of everyone deciding to come down at once. (line ups, seating all taken, including auxiliary room) Food quality was what you'f expect for 'free'. (i.e. included in price) Throw away cups, plates, utensils, prepackaged condiments. (almost 2019 and we've learned nothing) Aside from that major faux pas (not unique to this hotel), all in all it was fine.

Needed a quick overnight stay while celebrating holidays with friends this hotel is located right off the highway but oh so quiet you didn't hear a thing. Newly furnished room was perfect although bed could use a pillow top still firm but too firm for me! Breakfast usual fare for free limited size and selection but no real complaints other than staff was chatty and loud could have shut the door to customers who wanted a quiet moment over their cup of coffee BWP is a great chain I would stay here again for sure so convenient to the highways local shopping eating and of course the park.

Always enjoy Best Western properties and this is no exception. Room was very clean as well as all other areas. Breakfast was fresh and hot. Pool area was clean and hot tub felt great! Never hesitate to stay at this or any other Best Western owned property.

This hotel is a little dated. Our check-in experience was efficient and the deck employee was cheerful and professional. The lobby is clean and modern, so is the outside. The sleeping area in the guest room was clean and tidy. The room had a stuffy smell when we first went in however putting the room fan on took care of that quickly. The bathroom is where we really noticed that this is an older hotel. The tub was stained and badly in need of new caulking. If a clean bathing area is a top priority for you, this is not your hotel. The other thing we found disappointing was the breakfast buffet. There is a sign that indicates Gluten Free products are available upon request. When I asked for a GF product however the server said that they don't supply any due to the risk of cross contamination. She confirmed that the sausages, and one of the cereals were GF. I don't understand the "cross contamination" reason for not having GF products? The sausages were in a shared chafing dish with a serving utensil resting on the counter. How is this not risky? The option was sealed yogurt or fresh fruit. Not worth it given the price of the room if you are expecting to have a complete breakfast. So many other hotels offer individually wrapped GF muffins or bread products today that is so helpful. If a GF breakfast is necessary for you, then be forewarned you will be eating elsewhere, or bring your own.

Stayed at this hotel 1 night in October. This was my second time at this property. This time I was placed on the 1st floor. The decor in the hallway is somewhat outdated and the florescent lighting in the rooms at harsh blue tones and not relaxing. The room itself was comfortable and clean. The breakfast area was too small and felt cramped. The selection was not as strong as other BW plus properties I have stayed. Like the first time I stayed here, they do not seem to recognize BW rewards status. Overall the property served it's purpose.

Smallish hotel. The bedroom was clean comfortable and more than adequate. Good shower and toiletries. Breakfast was similar to most other chain hotels but plastic cutlery and paper plates and cups seemed rather cheap. Very helpful receptionist who managed to get this technophobe's wifi to work.

During our recent stay, with family, at Best Western Plus Muskoka Inn, we experienced fairly a good experience. The only concern was the area where Breakfast was served. It was too small a place for so many guest. Things ran out quickly and took a while to replenish. Not far from Algonquin Park West Entrance

This is an excellent hotel. The room was very clean complete with everything you'd expect in a 5-star hotel. The staff were all helpful, and breakfast was wonderful. We'll definitely recommend this spot and stay here next time we're in Huntsville.

This is an excellent hotel to stay at. All the staff is very friendly and helpful. There is lots to do and see in the area, downtown Huntsville has lots of shops for the shopper and small family restaurants to dine at. Also for the avid adventurer Algonquin park is just a short drive away for some of the best leaf colors in the fall.

Very well maintained and clean Inn. Owners are at the front desk, on site and truly care about their property. The staff were friendly, at the free breakfast area, the desk and while cleaning the rooms. It was perfect for our Algonquin trip. No frills, just what you need.

Our whole family really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The room and beds were very comfortable, the front desk was very helpful, breakfast was excellent with so many choices (although the waffle makers weren't working well), and the pool area is very nice. There are plenty of spots to eat breakfast, and the location is excellent, being across the street from a Walmart and several restaurants. Some Huntsville restaurants even give you 10 percent off for showing your room key. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Huntsville or Algonquin Park, which is about 45 minutes away.

Staff at the hotel was very friendly and welcoming. There was a hot breakfast each day which was nice instead of a simple continental. Everyone was polite including the other guests! I was not expecting too much in terms of the aesthetics and amenities, knowing the hotel chain and the cost. Overall we got what we paid for and it was reasonable. If I was looking for somewhere budget friendly and for a couple of nights I would book here again.

Great customer service, very clean and well kept. Location was very easy access to everything we needed. Our first time in Muskoka area was great. Beach and park nearby. Enjoyed the quick drive to downtown Huntsville.

Looks like newly renovated with high quality mattresses and plush bedding. Airconditioned with easy controlled thermostat but a bit noisy. The room cleaning is well done. Breakfast is full continental buffet that includes sausage and scrambled eggs, yogurt, fruit salad, waffles. Great location too.

Everything they have/do was wonderful (decor, breakfast, rooms, amenities, etc.) Nothing over the top, mind blowing. But everything they offered was fantastic. My constructive criticism would be to offer wine :)

Best Western has been our hotel of choice as the rooms are clean and comfortable. Recently for us, they have changed their toiletries and the bar soap is amazing! Most of the time, the front desk staff are okay but they can be a little narrow minded in terms of being welcoming to anyone who is a visible minority or self identifies as part of the LGBT community but this seems to be indicative of Huntsville. The pool is okay but I am not sure how clean it is. When we visited in the fall, we did notice that staff let in friends through the back door to swim and party.

Stayed here for work a couple times. The are a little more expensive than the surrounding hotels but well worth it for a good nights rest after work. The beds here are amazing! Better than my bed at home. And the scrambled eggs in the morning are actually good! I would (and probably will) stay here again

Stayed here one night while travelling for business. Hotel was clean and conveniently located. Steve at the checkin with very courteous and personable. He was very professional, yet casual. Nice touch in an associate. The only negative about this property was that they did not seem to recognize rewards status at all. I was not offered a room upgrade or welcome snacks/ water at checkin. Overall, would stay here again.

Good place to stay with pool, hot tub, breakfast, clean rooms and close to all amenities. The front desk staff were very friendly and quite accommodating. Right across from groceries, restaurants, dollar store etc. and you love that there is a Dairy Queen on the same side of the road just a few doors over. Great treat to cool off on those hot summer days.

The hotel was convenient, clean and easily accessible. It was located near restaurants of all types and shopping and fuel ,both gas and diesel.The breakfast was nice with a good selection of many different kinds of breakfast foods.

With only one night in Huntsville, we opted for the Best Western Plus to take advantage of the included breakfast, pool & hot tub. We took a room with a king bed that provided a great night's sleep. The pool was clean and warm and we had it to ourselves. Same with the hot tub. One concern (as is often the case) the pool surround is tile and very slippery when wet. That was exacerbated by the fact that the pre & post-swim shower was poolside and soaked the tile area from the get-go. The breakfast might be described as "continental", but the food was anything but. Hashbrowns, scrambled eggs, ham, bacon, fruit bowl, yogurt, pastry table, coffee / tea / hot chocolate, juice, cereal bar, fresh fruit, ... Included was a make-your-own waffles station with pre-mixed batter and fixings to individualize your waffle(s). Every bit as good as a breakfast joint - but all you can eat !

We have stayed at this Best Western hotel for two years in the row when we go up to Algonquin park. Location of this hotel is great because it is right next to Hwy 60. Love this hotel because it is newer and very very clean. The morning breakfast is also top notch for continental breakfast. Kids enjoyed the swimming pool. Highly recommend this hotel if you want to visit Muskoka. We arrived around 1PM and the front desk staff was very nice to let us check in earlier. Friendly staff and excellent facility.

I am in Huntsville several times a year for business and I always stay here. The staff is friendly, the rooms are comfortable, and it has a great location near the highway and the center of town. Just across the street are a few restaurants, super market, and a Walmart. I stayed in room 301 this time. It had a king bed. It was very quiet and opposite the stairs to go downstairs.

I have booked a room with two queen size beds for 3 nights. The beds were comfortable, the wifi internet access worked very well and we slept very well. My daughter used the pool on the main floor to have abit of fun with other guest kids. The breakfast and parking were included in the room rate. The breakfast is very decent with enough choice for kids and adults.

Went to Huntsvilleto watch my granddaughter's weekend dance competition. My stay at the hotel was extremely good. Very friendly staff and extremely courteous. Girl at the desk checking in told me about the rewards card and signed me up.

I travelled with my husband and my daughter. We had and excellent stay. Friendly staff. Very clean and spacious. Very comfortable beds. The only negative thing was the heater which was very loud when turned on. It woke me up a few times at night.

We stayed 1 night here while visiting Algonquin Park. Hotel was ok, I've stayed in a few BW's before and thought this one wasn't as good as some of the others. The location was good, Walmart and some nice restaurants within walking distance. The price was reasonable for what you got....I certainly wouldn't want to pay anymore. The rooms were nice and modern looking. When I first entered there was a bit of a smell to the room, but after awhile I didn't notice it anymore. The TV channels were confusing 8-1 and 8-2 etc. And I didn't think there were that many channels. Also, the rooms didn't have any charging outlets for your phone. My phone cord has that rectangle end that you would typically plug into a computer (not a standard outlet), so I was not able to charge my phone until I got back into my car. Staff were very friendly. Pool had a very strong smell of chlorine. I had to ask for pool towels. I had higher hopes for the breakfast. There wasn't much fruit choices. The scrambled eggs were slimy (my son's words)....and there was no flavoured creamers for the coffee. It certainly wasn't the worse breakfast I've had but there is some room for improvement. All in all, I'd say the hotel was average. I was surprised to learn it was a plus. I'd certainly recommend staying here just don't have too high or hopes.

I stayed here with my daughter, 2 1/2 yr old grandson and 6 yr old granddaughter on a Sunday night in February after skating in Arrowhead Park. All of the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size , with comfortable beds, a mini-fridge and a Keurig type coffee machine that provided decent strong coffee pods as opposed to the weak ones that most hotels provide. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The pool, hot tub and entire pool area was well maintained and very clean. Although I wasn't thrilled with the noisy mini-fridge that hummed loudly all night long, I would stay here again when in the area. There are restaurants, some big box stores and a large supermarket within walking distance of the hotel.

Friendly staff, located near the highway and a bunch of restaurants. A comfortable room, we had the Jacuzzi room which was large too. Beds are a little too firm for me. Breakfast was good and the price wasn't bad too. You really smell the chlorine from the pool when you are in the lobby. We will stay here again.

I stayed here recently while in the area on business. The hotel is clean, well maintained - though it was undergoing some renovations, and conveniently located. Easy access to the highway, Grocery Store across the road Multiple dining options within very easy walking distance (even in the Winter) Exercise room is clean and all machines were in working order, Indoor pool was nice. The only downside is that they didn't have the Space channel on the television I will definitely stay again next time I am in the area

We just stayed here with our ski racing club for one night as we had a race the next day at hidden valley. The rooms were clean (we had two queen beds) and we had a small fridge and coffee maker. Nothing fancy about this place. The pool is very small and the hot tub is a joke. Barely fit four people in it. Would have expected more for a ski location - people want to warm up after a day of skiing. There was a curling event taking place so we were not able to use the large room on the main floor for our group as it was reserved for the pro curlers. the breakfast was your basic runny box eggs, waffles, toast, etc. Not a lot of fruit options but still an okay breakfast that was included in your stay. Nice that parking was free (no additional cost). We were able to walk to Kelsey's for dinner as it is just up and across the road. A couple of cons were - one: how very lazy the front desk/security person was. We all had our arms full of stuff when we arrived and he didn't get up our of his seat to help anyone! He also didn't say good morning or hello to you unless you said it first. Not the best customer service. two: The heater in our room was also very loud so bring some ear plugs if you are a light sleeper like me and three: only one elevator for the entire hotel. There are only three floors so you can walk up and down them but it is harder with ski equipment (boots and helmets) and bags. We would stay at this hotel again as the location is good and the price is decent.

Excellent location, very professional with their guests and restaurants. The grounds and and views are worth the visit and enjoy the countryside in the beautiful summer time. Plus a short drive to ski hills.

Stayed at best western in Huntsville ont had a great 2 nights the only complaint I had was we must of been above the pool as you could smell the chlorine in our room other then that everything was very clean staff was very friendly

Overall a decent hotel, just walls are very thin and therefore a hard time sleeping with all the noise. Bed also not so comfortable. but could be attributed by the noise causing bed sleep. Breakfast selection was great! Just make sure you go before 9.. gets busy after that.. but could just be the day..

My wife and I stayed at the Best Western in Huntsville while visiting family at Christmas. The hotel is clean and relatively new with big rooms and everything is in very good condition, almost like new. The staff are friendly and helpful and they have a pretty decent breakfast although we didn't partake on this particular visit. The only down side may be noise coming from the hallways. The doors don't seal out that noise so if there is a hockey team in the house, you need to find another place to stay!!!

We stayed 3 days over the holidays. The staff is very friendly, accommodating and professional. At the checkout, the lady at the Reception desk offered me a brush so I can clean the snow from my car. The hotel is spotless; the breakfast is sufficient; the Fitness Center has new equipment which I used everyday. The bed has firm mattress, which I didn't find very comfortable. Overall the price, the cleanliness and the location are excellent to have enjoyable stay.

good hotel, excellent breakfast, very nice swimming pool. rooms were nice too, the wifi was awesome. there was tea coffee in the lobby for guests during evenings too. the breakfast was the most awesome, alot of options and very good service for the breakfast.

Staff were very courteous. Room was wonderful. We loved having the separate area with the sofa & chair to sit & read. Only downfall is we would have preferred an extra lamp in this area. Otherwise the room was wonderful. Bed was a bit hard - but this is a personal preference.

This is our company's usual place to stay while traveling to Huntsville. The rooms are always clean, the bed is extremely comfortable, and it is close to a lot of amenities. Melissa is usually at the front desk and she always has a smile on her face. Check in is quick and efficient. Breakfast is included, and isn't too bad of a breakfast. Good options, including fruit, various breads, eggs, sausages, hash browns, yogurt, waffles. The coffee is actually pretty good as well.

Excellent stay at BW Huntsville. Stayed last year at the same time and both years had my room upgraded to a King Suite which was a nice surprise. I am a Diamond member but never ask for the upgrade. It was offered both years I have stayed here. Even had a Jacuzzi. Definitely made my day!

We found the hotel extremely clean. The hotel staff were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. We would definitely stay here again. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed the use of the pool and exercise room. The hotel was in a good location and close to everything we needed.

Stayed one night as part of overnight trip to Muskokas. Hotel was everything we expected for room and breakfast experience. Easy check-in and check-out, good breakfast, decent wifi, close to restaurants, etc.

We had a great time at the hotel, was relaxing and staff were very friendly and helpful. Was there to see the fall colours and we were not disappointed other than when we went to Algonquin park. Wonderful trip would do it all over again if we could.

We stayed their for one night during our family trip to Algonguin. The hotel is located very close to Hwy 11, easy to access either highway 11 or 60 to Algonguin park. In general the hotel is very clean with friendly staff in both reception and breakfast. Room is satisfactory and we are happy with everything in the washroom. Only one thing which bothered us is the duvet, too thick and heavy. Breakfast is fair and again the service is good.

We stayed one night at the Huntsville Best Western on our way up to northern Ontario. The hotel is very nice, clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room was also very spacious and clean. It is also close to the highway so if you are travelling thru the area it is very convenient to get back on the highway.

Service was great as always! Staff wer friendly and helpful. Great selection of items for breakfast and the items were always full. The one thing I like about staying at they hotels is the staff always look professional are always helpful and the hotel is always clean and tidy.

Had a few bumps ,when I booked but then everything was looked The hotel is very clean and quiet ! The place was full, but when you went into your room you could hardly hear anything from outside of it . There is a polite young men that was very helpful to me at the breakfast. When I needed assistance he came right over to help !

This is an annual outing for my husband and myself as this is one of the most beautiful area of Ontario...lakes, waterfalls, winding back roads and peaceful drives. The Best Western is located in Huntsville which makes it central to the sights and close to many eating places. A great quick getaway!

We stayed at this hotel only one night, thankful in a way it wasn't longer. We were on the 2nd floor and as soon as we got out of the elevator we noticed a really unpleasant smell in the corridor which we couldn't put our finger on., it was pretty awful. Once we entered the room , it wasn't nearly as bad but when we went to bed and especially when the air conditioning was on , we could smell it again, even the bedding had a funny odour. Actually, I didn't sleep well, due to the odour and also I didn't feel particularly happy because of it. On the positive side, breakfast was good, but wouldn't return here.

Excellent overall. From the room (spotless), pool & spa (lot's of towels) and breakfast (good selection of traditional fare and healthy choices. Check-in and check-out fast and efficient. Staff even helped me clean my motorcycle boots.

Friendly local staff. Belgian waffle for breakfast always a treat for the group. Room was comfortable. Bed linens seemed nice. Free Wi-Fi and other amenities appreciated. Nice to have the big table in the breakfast room. Also ability to always get water from the juice dispenser appreciated.

Great hotel. Very clean and well taken care of. We stayed 1 night while I was on business and we don't have any complaints. Our room was large and clean, our bed was comfortable enough and everyone was friendly.

We had a very pleasant stay after being at Algonquin park hiking all day and experiencing the weekly wolf howl late in to the night. The beds were very comfortable and breakfast was ready bright and early. Our kids loved the fact that you could make your own fresh waffles!! We will definitely be going back on our next visit up north.

there were no controls to adjust the fan as a result it came on frequently with a loud noise. this was so bothersome that we checked out the next day. the staff suggested that we use ear plugs but they had none

Great place right off the highway . Close to Walmart. East side Mario`s and other resturants and shopping centers. Close to down town Huntsville. We have stayed at this Best Western 5 times and have never had a problem.

Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Premises is close to shopping but surrounded by quiet park-like setting at the back half. All amenities are easily accessible, and CLEAN, and everything works. Quiet hotel. Comfortable, close to highway but doesn't suffer from noise. Rooms are large and comfortable.

We were weary travellers and needed a place to be. I chose the Best western and I am glad I did. The service was great, the breakfast was ample, the rooms were very well decorated and cleaned. I would definitely go back.

Stayed three nights. Located outside the city core (albeit not far). Nice size room, clean, excellent service at reception. Pretty standard BW Plus, so not quite sure why it rates so high. A little expensive. Reviews we read raved about the breakfast. No such excitement for us. Jam packed eating area with one overflow room down a hall. Selection was the same every morning. Ok, I guess, but somewhat blah, especially the eggs. Indoor pool is clean and at an "almost warm" temperature, but the hot tub is minuscule (why bother putting one so small in such a large hotel?). A party of 5 had just went in for 20 minutes and we were sure as hell not going to go in immediately after without any kind of chlorination. Yuk! I'd give 3.5 stars if I could but since TA only allows round numbers and given the room cleanliness and excellence of the service at reception, I can justify 4 stars.

Just stayed at this hotel for 1 night and it didn't disappoint. The bed was comfortable and the room temperature was perfect. The in room keurig was much appreciated for an early start to the day as well as the breakfast bar that had a wide selection of items to choose from!! Will definitely stay again when in the area.

We tend to stay here when in Muskoka Ontario Canada. The rooms are well kept, the staff is friendly and there is lots to do nearby such as fishing, hiking sightseeing and in the winter you can ski (downhill and X Country) dog sledding snowmobiling etc. There is lots of history in the area too. We had a whirlpool room that was very clean and nicely appointed. Wi Fi access was easy to access. The only downer this time was an extremely noisy group of kids who were not properly supervised by adults and ran rampant down the hallways yelling and screaming as well as slamming doors. I phoned to the desk to complain but the noise persisted so I got dressed and went down to the desk to voice my displeasure. After that, the noise stopped. I will say that we have never had this experience before at this hotel. The hot breakfast included offers the usual eggs, bacon, sausage, cereal and a waffle maker. The scrambled eggs were not rubbery which is our usual experience but too salty for my taste. We will most likely stay there again on our next visit to the area.

It was a nice place, the hot tub was wonderful, pool was warm 1st day and a little cooler each day after. Clean, friendly staff, and fairly close to lots of activities. I would have preferred a softer bed and stable room temperature, overall a nice hotel.

Couldn't ask for a nicer man at the front desk when I checked in! The room was great-a suite on the third floor. Two queens and a pull out couch. Breakfast was good. Bed comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!

Our request for a quite room and not to be near Sports teams was understood and met. Our room was clean, well appointed and very quiet. We were given an excellent suggestion from the front desk for a local independent restaurant which was superb. In the morning we were surprised to find a bus of adults on a tour was just down the hall. Great soundproofing and adults who appreciate a good night's sleep. Breakfast was well managed and extra seating immediately available. All the stations were well stocked and quickly replenished. All in all a great experience.

Was delightfully surprised how great our stay was T the BW plus in Huntsville! We stayed in the King Suite with Jacquzzi. Have two teenage kids and was the most spacious room I've ever stayed in and I travel a lot. The breakfast was great...scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns, yogurt, bagels, make your own waffles (my daughter loved the mini chocolate chips she added to the waffle batter!), canned peaches, apples, bananas, muffins, cereal. Only thing I would have liked to have would be some oatmeal. The pool seemed lovely although we didn't use. My daughter got into her bathing suit and got into our room jacquzzi instead! Great location about 1 hour drive to Opeongo where we did some fishing, and close to Arrowhead. If you sign up for Abrar Western rewards, you get a booking discount. Would definitely stay here again!

We have stayed at various hotels at Huntsville and this time we tried BW as this was rated top hotel in Huntsville. Will agree as the staff is amazing and give 100% to ensure their guests have a pleasant stay. Will stay again... convenient location, good breakfast and most important amazing service.

I really liked this hotel. The actual room was lovely. The decor was very nice the bathroom is very clean and large with lots of towels. The bed was very comfortable with lots of pillows. What I thought was a nice touch, was that the remote was a little different than what I was used to. I'm usually hesitant to use the remote control in hotel rooms because of the germs but this one was a special kind with a special cover that is easier to disinfect. The breakfast was great with scrambled eggs sausage and hash browns as some of the main breakfast options.

The hotel was quiet and clean. The quality of the breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed using the pool and hot tub. The location was convenient. The room was comfortable and we appreciated taking the stairs. We will stay there again.

Great place to stay fairly priced, close to everything. The hotel had lots of seating a pool and hot tub...Lots of room to have breakfast..Staff and place were clean and upbeat..Lots of parking and the AC was working well.Fitness room was well equipped and had clean towels and well decorated.

I can highly recommend this hotel! Staff very friendly and helpful. Will stay here again, next time I am in town. Close enough to the highway for easy access, far enough from the highway not to hear any of the highway traffic noise.

We stayed in the king suite with jacuzzi on the third floor. The room was great, clean and tidy and quiet. We also had breakfast included the next morning. It was a large comprehensive buffet with sausages and eggs plus waffles, muffins, cereal etc. The eggs were kinda bleh and watery but everything else was good. Staff was friendly and the hotel was clean

The rooms were clean, spacious and inviting. Bathrooms were were large and luxurious. Great value for the money. Excellent healthy hot breakfast including a waffle station. The pool and hot tub were a nice treat. Overall I was very impressed

A good choice in Huntsville; minutes from downtown. Service is excellent in all areas except their Wi-Fi. The latter was down but they found a temporary way to get online until their server was reconciled with the company. I'd return .

We enjoyed our visit with the huntsville best western plus this visit and in the past years and looking forward to years to come. Very helpful and kind staff, great breakfast and the pool and hot tube was both relaxing and refreshing!

This is the second time we have used this hotel as a base to explore the local area. It has a great location just off Highway 11. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Hotel is well appointed and the rooms have all the facilities you need when using it as a base. Breakfast is complimentary and is well stocked with two staff constantly refreshing all the foods. Two waffles machines means there is also no queue which is usual at other hotels with this option! So if visiting this region again - i wouldnt hesitate in using this hotel or recommending it to others if all you are looking for is a place to lay your head after exploring the Muskoka area.

What a great place to stay. Just off the hiway and a short drive or walk to downtown. The people that greet you to the lady's that serve you vacuum the floors and clean your room . And there all the same people. And she Evan ask where did I get the Starbucks coffee.

One of the upscale Best Westerns that is pretty comparable to a Hampton Inn or similar other chain hotel. Nice pool, decent breakfast, very helpful and accommodating staff, spacious and clean room. Internet is very fast but makes you sign on all the time which is a nuisance. The closet was very small and with sliding doors almost unusable - quite annoying in an otherwise very nice room. Convenient location to downtown restaurants and easy access to Rt 60 and Algonquin Provisional Park.

In February my wife, our youngest child and I went to a funeral in Huntsville. We stayed at the best western plus and loved it, the pool and hot tub were great, the continental breakfast was amazing!, the rooms were fair priced and large. I have now stayed at another motel in Huntsville and I can safely say that I will only go back to the best western when we stay in Huntsville.

Of many overnight stays, this is near the top for service and pleasantness ! From check-in to out... everything worked well, smelled well, and was of great comfort. We had a very good experience and a good memory for both of us.

We enjoyed staying at the Best Western for our 15th anniversary and first time in Huntsville! The ONLY disappointment was that the power went out in the whole city one night for six hours, which wasn't the hotel's fault. It would have been nice for them to have had some back up power, though. Overall, a really nice getaway!

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it! The hotel is very clean and homely with friendly staff. The breakfast is great....my favourite part being the make-your-own waffle machine, but all the food was great and there was something for everyone. There isn't too much to do around the hotel but it's handy having a huge wall mart across the road and a couple of fast food chains and restaurants if you don't want to drive. Huntsville Main Street is walkable, it took us about 20-30mins (and we are quite fast walkers) but the walk is pleasant and fine when it's not raining. It's also only a short drive to arrow head park where you can pay $17 to park your car for the day. We drove through Algonquin on the way to the hotel so didn't go back as it was a lot further away than arrow head. On a rainy day we used the hotel pool and jacuzzi, it was good as we had it all to ourselves but there are no changing rooms down at the pool and we both found the chlorine a little overpowering which put us off using it again. Overall I definitely recommend the hotel when visiting Huntsville!

Best Western in Huntsville was a great find for us first time at this Best Western we have stayed at others, we were very satisfied with everything. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the rooms are spacious and clean. I am a very fussy person and that is a number priority on my list and friendliness of a hotel is also number 1 on the list. All staff was very helpful with any questions with anything we wanted to know about he area. Will absolutely recommend this hotel to family and friends!

We had a very nice stay at the Best Western Plus Muskoka Inn, where we went after a day on Parry Sound. Normally we shy away from Best Western, but this was every bit as nice as a Hampton. Good breakfast.

Best Western typically are a better-than-average hotel, but this one is a better-than-average Best Western! Super clean, very well maintained, nicely appointed. We're in a King room, with a jacuzzi, and we're jazzed. Very nice room. Best of all, in addition to tge normal discounts, they offer a Harley rate.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was well looked after by the staff, and there was a good variety. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is in a good location.

Friendly staff, modern facility. My only comment would be the pool is on the small side, however it is quite clean and the appropriate temperature. It is a great spot for travellers. It is a bit of a jot from Downtown, however there are some big box stores and restaurants just across the road.

The room was comfortable and the front desk staff were very friendly. With the King Bed room you get a nice sofa you can sit on while watching television. The location is excellent, as it is on Howland Drive near several restaurants and Wal-Mart. It is also close to both Highways 11 and 60, which is handy if you want to explore Muskoka, the Almaguin Highlands or Algonquin Provincial Park. Arrowhead Provincial Park is less than 10 minutes away as well. The prices were reasonable for a 2 night stay in a tourist area, on a weekend close to summertime. It should be noted that Best Western, like most hotel chains, offers a rewards program. I will likely be staying here again due to my positive experience.

We stayed here on our sightseeing tour of Ontario. The hotel was pleasant and quite although shops and eating are only a short walk away. If you walk into town to look around its a 20 minute walk. The breakfast was good offered a great variety. The room was very clean.

BW Plus Muskoka is located at an Excellent location, within walking distance to Great Dinning & Shopping mall. Hotel is very clean & comfort, the BEST Breakfast presented with many choice of items. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to anyone visiting Huntsville or surrounded attraction.

All staff encountered were helpful, including with a personal tablet issue. The grounds and interior are iimmaculately maintained. Our room was well appointed and sparkling clean. The complimentary breakfast offered numerous choices and was kept hot and fresh. I have stayed in numerous BW hotels across Canada, the U.S.A. and Britain and this particular location of Best Western is by far the best. I highly recommend staying here if you are planning trip to the Huntsville area.

We stayed for three nights over a long weekend. The room was clean and comfortable, nothing spectacular. The free breakfast is nice with decent variety of basic breakfast food. The hot tub wasn't very hot and the chlorine was overbearing (our eyes were burning after a few minutes). There are a few restaurants, a grocery store and a gas station within a short walking distance. This is a great place to stay if you aren't looking for bells and whistles.

Our dance studio was attending a dance competition and our group basically took over the hotel. We used all services including pool, conference room and breakfast. The staff at this hotel were kind courteous, and went above and beyond to make everything great for our group. They started breakfast early so we could all make it to our venue on time with full bellies. Breakfast selection was excellent for continental- waffle station, hot items such as scrambled eggs, sausages, home fries as well as cereals, yogurt etc. One staff member (wish I could remember his name!) went above and beyond by fixing a light in the pool area, bringing extra towels for our kids at the pool, helping to make our added party in the conference room a wonderful time for all. They allowed early check in for us to accommodate our schedule and were so kind and courteous. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Stayed for 1 night. To attend my daughter's dance competition. Just 1 night but this place made an impression. I should have stayed the rest of the nights where we stayed after. I'll surely book here for next year's competition

Amazingly helpful and welcoming staff. Close to many amenities and minutes from beautiful downtown Huntsville. We came as part of a dance team for a competition and we couldn't have been treated better. This hotel and staff know how to treat groups!

Really great stay in Huntsville. Great location and very kind accommodating staff. We were a large dance group and they opened breakfast early and kept the pool open later for the girls who danced at the competition later.

The decor is a bit dated but well equipped and very comfortable. I found the breakfast offering was well equipped only lacking oatmeal. The location is walking distance from a good selection of Stores and restaurants. I stayed three nights and didn't find myself missing home more then usual. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay there again for sure.

We stayed at Best Western, Huntsville, while we were in the area looking at homes in the area. Our children were with us. We were greeted promptly, our room was clean and comfortable and had an additional sitting/TV area. We spent some time in the hot tub and pool. Our kids had a great time and we enjoyed it too. Clean towels were provided, without asking, and the complimentary breakfast had many options, from waffles to cereal (which made our kids very happy). There were also options for breakfast on the go. Thanks for a great stay!

Best Western - Huntsville, ON was a perfect place for an overnight stay. Just off the main highway, there are amenities and parks within reach. The staff are helpful and friendly and the room was neat and clean.

Clean! My room was clean and well maintained! Food service was well organized and the staff was pleasant! The dining room was clean and well organized and the check out was easy. The front end staff were well informed!

Good breakfast, but bed mattress are a big problem. Quieter than the Holiday Inn next door. Good parking on site and directly across from the grocery store and Walmart. Also very close to East Side Mario's and Wendy's. We usually stay in the suite rooms with the hot tub included. Very relaxing but prices do seem to fluctuate a lot.

A quiet room , a clean hotel , a good breakfast , nothing more really , what I expected for one night three people for 140.00 . The staff were nice , a little more laid back then I'd like , the duvet way to hot on the bed , daughter said pull out couch was a bed of protruding springs , go figure .

We stayed here for a hockey tournament, staff were great and accommodating, ensuring we were completely looked after with space for the kids to be kids and create memories with their team mates. When we checked in, I showed the receptionist my BW UK Gold card and next thing I knew, we had a suite which was really nice. The bedroom area has the usual two doubles with desk , TV etc and the sitting area had couch, long table, large fridge, microwave ,and there was a sizeable bathroom. All in all, you couldn't really ask for more. The room was a little dark but that was largely due to its long shape but everything was in good condition. The hotel is located a short drive out of the main downtown area although there are garages, supermarkets and a restaurant just across the road. Personally, I think there are better places to dine so be prepared to drive. The included breakfast was very good and although it was extremely busy, we always managed to get a table. The town itself exceeded my expectation in terms of pleasantness and is definitely worth a stroll around. Beware that you are a lengthy drive from the entrance to Algonquin and there are other accommodations nearer. However, these appeared to fall into two categories - really expensive upscale properties or rather questionable "mom and pop" motels which may well have been fine but we were happy to make the drive on the several occasions required. After all, that increases your chance of spying wildlife which sadly remained discreetly hiding during our visit.

We stayed here on our way home from Ottawa for one night. Staff were very friendly at check in and any time we saw them. Pool and hot tub were very clean and enjoyed both! We had a king bed suite and it was very nice - clean, comfy bed and jacuzi which we did not use, but looked inviting. Quiet. Free wifi worked well on our floor. Small fridge and coffee maker in our room. We walked over to Dairy Queen for supper and it is a new facility and was easy to get to. Free hot breakfast - the lady looking after the room made sure everything was fresh and that we had everything we wanted.....nice bright area. Definitely would stay here again.

The room smelled like body odour when I arrived. I could not open the windows to air out the room. The pillow case had a blood stain on it. It was a very unpleasant experience. When I complained at the front desk, I was refunded only a small portion of my payment. Also, the food was so unappealing that I only had coffee with the free breakfast. Don't stay here. Go to the Comfort Inn or drive to Dwight and stay at the Dwight Village Motel. I have stayed at these places and they are much better.

Great Value! Very Clean! Staff are accommodating and friendly. Hot and cold breakfast items - good variety. I stayed in this hotel for business and was delighted with my suite - had a fridge, microwave and jacuzzi! Highly recommended!

Really enjoyed our stay. The in room whirlpool tub was great. It was convenient to have 2 restaurants across the road. I was impressed with the full hot breakfast included. Town of Huntsville has some beautiful scenery!

This is the nicest hotel I've been in while visiting huntsville. ...I've been twice in the month of October.. I would highly recommend this hotel...it has very friendly staff in all areas from front desk to housekeeping to breakfast staff..very friendly and accommodating. The room was excellent...the breakfast was awesome..it can't say enough good things about my stay there.

My husband and I recently stayed for two nights while on a quick visit to the area. The room was very clean, had comfortable beds and was quiet for sleeping.The breakfast was the usual hotel continental fare, which you can usually find enough for a decent breakfast. The breakfast area was well tended to and kept clean by the staff.The hotel was easy to get to from the highway and had ample parking. We would definitely stay here again.

Well placed close to Algonquin,room was what we would expect from Best Western,staff helpful and friendly great swimming pool only us two in there. A very substantial breakfast included so for our needs it was perfect

Conveniently located off Highways 11 and 60 yet also quiet, this hotel is very clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The furniture in our room appeared to have been recently refurbished and the room was adequately spacious. Exhaust fan in bathroom too noisy and it cannot be separately operated because it comes on when the light is switched on. Moderate breakfast offering.

With a route which would take us through the park on the next day, we picked the Best Western as a conveniently located overnight stop. The place was as expected up to Best Western standards, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was fine and large enough, and in the usual Best Western style, a small fridge was provided. There's also a pool, which we did not use. Not certain if this was a ''feature'' of our room, but whenever someone else (above, below, left or right) turned on a water tap/shower/toilet flush, we could clearly hear it in our room. Seems that whoever did the piping installations had not heard about pipe-wrap and other noise attenuating options.This took some getting used to and actually woke me up once. Breakfast was served in the usual ''help yourself'' style and was quite ample. A nice touch would have been a frequent fresh refill of the sausages, hash-browns and eggs, since they were from when the breakfast room opened and quite old and dried out by 10:00 AM. The coffee was excellent and really hot. The provided plastic plates/cups and ''cutlery'' might save labour, but this is not an environmentally sound policy, nor are these implements pleasing to use. Assuming that about $ 20.00 was included in the room rate of $ 190.00 for the breakfast , a trip to a local diner for a freshly cooked breakfast might be more appealing to some visitors.

I thought this hotel was great because it was very clean,across the street from a mini mall,and the food was relatively good.I would stay here again even though I did not like the size of the pool and the water gave me itchy skin.I love this part of Ontario so much that I am already planning to go back.The Muskoka area is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! I feel so happy after my mini vacation in this area.On our tour we went to a cranberry farm,Algonqin Park and on a boat tour.The boat was so pretty and served very tasty food!!Ontario's best kept secret is the Muskoka area!I am going again very soon.

We stay in this Best Western when we complete business in the area and are always pleased with the comforts we expect in a hotel. The breakfast is very good, the pool is great and the room is comfortable. Staff are excellent and interesting that the staff are always the same in the hotel which speaks highly of the owner. We will continue to use this hotel when we travel to Huntsville

Stayed for 4 nights. This hotel is great. I noticed how clean the lobby was and the rooms were the same. Great cleaning staff. The free breakfast was very good. Eggs, toast, cereal, muffins etc. Something for everyone. Located only 25-30 minutes from west gate of Algonquin Park. Rooms had a large bathroom, comfortable bed and lots of room. Will stay here every time I get back to the area.

So they didnt give me a receipt at check out and when I called and asked them to email my receipt i was told that they arent set up to do that??? So just scan it and email it to me, "we dont have a scanner"!!!!! Really? What century are you guys in?

We stayed here 2 nights, the room is large with a king bed large tv screen and coffee maker, air con is quite noisy. Plenty of hot water for showers. There is a small indoor swimming pool towels provided nice to come to after a day out. Breakfast is good with hot and cold food including a machine to make your own waffles, don't know if this is normal but all cutlery and crockery was disposable but despite that food was good. There is a bar and grill opposite to get evening meal or it is a short drive into town.

This is a standard economy hotel.It is clean and serves a modest breakfast.The location is on the outskirts of Huntsville.It is a little expensive.for the type f accommodation. The bathroom is reasonable size with a moderate size bath.The staff were welcoming and efficient.

Clean, reasonably priced hotel. room didn't have microwave. Breakfast is OK but not exceptional. We expect more varity. Pool is small. Breakfast area is small but not cramped. Location is very convenient. Walmart,superstore, restaurants across the street. I would come back again.

Driving through and needed a place to stay for one night. Right off the highway, clean rooms and friendly staff. Breakfast could be organized better but food quality was good and plentiful. No complaints.

Stayed with my family in a large room with 2 queen beds. Room was well equiped and clean. Hotel staff were very pleasant and friendly. The only downside is the smell of the swimming pool (chlorine) in the lobby and breakfast area.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. We have stayed many times on our summer travels.. MAKE A RESERVATION. We have come without and been disappointed that they were full. The breakfast is great. Others in the area not as nice.

So the hotel and all is just okay nothing special. But this was my 3rd stay at Best western hotels and i already had a rewards membership card on which i am supposed to get 10% discount minimum. But upon presenting my card i was told that the rewards point will not given and neither any discount because i booked my rooms thru booking.com. There is no where they had mentioned this on the circular sent to me along with my membership card. Guess i ended up making fool out of myself. Guys beware of there cheap marketing tricks from Best western. The front desk did not do anything to help me and simply said they cannot do anything to resolve this but they agree with my point.

So clean, so comfortable, affordable. Very comfy beds. The staff was kind and helpful! You get a discount at neighbouring restaurants and a discount with your CAA card-make sure to ask, because they may not tell you. It rained on our second day and we made use of the hotel amenities--nice pool, small lounge area but t.v. and some coffee and tea.

This hotel gave us adjoining rooms, which was very convenient. We found the breakfast very good, and unlike many other hotels we have stayed at, the breakfast wasn't whisked away at 9:50, but was still available until 10, and a little after, Many people were still in the breakfast room and we weren't rushed out. All the staff members were pleasant and welcoming.

We stayed here for five days this summer and it was very pleasant and relaxing. We booked a king suite with a jacuzzi. It was too hot to use the jacuzzi but we wanted the extra space as we expected to have friends who were also staying in the hotel over to visit. The bed was comfortable and the fridge and coffee maker were very handy. Our room had two sidechairs and one desk chair. We needed to have at least four chairs so we didn't have to sit on the bed. We asked the front desk staff for any old chair and they delivered one within five minutes. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and it was not bad although we ran out of options for different food after a few days. The hotel is close to a grocery store so it was easy to get snacks. It's a short drive or reasonable walk to the downtown area of Huntsville. There is only one restaurant near the hotel and we'd recommend going downtown to eat.

Rooms were spacious enough to handle two adults and two teens. Good sized, clean bathrooms. Excellent hot and cold breakfast and a good pool/exercise facility. It could have just been luck, but the one thing I did notice is how quiet it was. I would recommend this hotel to a friend for sure. Conveniently located right off of HWY 11.

We had a lovely clean, bright and comfortable room. Great breakfast options and we liked how the food stations were in different parts of the room so that not everyone was trying to be in the same space at the same time. We received a very friendly welcome from the staff on arrival and a really good recommendation of where to eat in Huntsville that evening.

Room was very clean, well maintained. Had a jacuzzi tub in room which was wonderful! Mattress wasn't the softest but I still slept well. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Pool and hot tub were very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was a happy surprise...better than some places I have been. Good selection of food, staff kept the food fully stocked during the breakfast hours - great coffee.

Happy overall with the hotel and its amenities. Personally I would have liked a window I could open for fresh air .Breakfast was typical of continental breakfast. It would be nice to have more selection in the fresh fruit section aside from oranges and apples.

From the time we arrived to the time we left this hotel was excellent. The room was clean, the beds were great and the air conditioning was good too. Even the bathroom was clean.( I am a stickler for the bathrooms to be clean with no mold visible). The people at the front desk were great. The breakfast provided was great too. It included scramble eggs, sausage, hash browns, various cereals, bagels, waffles and the coffee tasted great. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are going to Huntsville.

We only stayed for 1 night while doing a little trip through Algonquin Park. Its a very quick drive to the park which made the hotel a perfect location. The room was clean, quite and the bed was comfortable. In the 32° degree heat wave, the air conditioner kept up quite well! The room was very quite and we had a very restful sleep! The hotel offers a complimentary breakfast however we did not stay for that. Huntsville is a very nice little town, it had been many years since our last visit and we were very impressed.

The Huntsville Best Western is always reliable ... the rooms are clean and well maintained, the amenities are always clean and in good working condition and the continental breakfast is always plentiful and has something for everyone. We've stayed here several times over the years and never had a negative experience.

This property is very comfortable and accessible to the many offerings of the Muskoka region. I got a good night's sleep after a busy day. The property is clean and the breakfast was adequate. We will stay here again.

We ( 6 adults and 4 kids ) stayed at this hotel for 2 nights this past week renting 3 rooms. The Hotel was very clean, with a good location near restaurants and across the road from Walmart and very near the highway. The breakfast was good overall, but the orange juice out of the machine that dispenses it tasted like yellow water, not anywhere like juice. I also didn't like the fact that you had to make your own pancakes. The other thing that happened to us is that I went for breakfast at 8:00 am, putting a do not disturb sign on the door since my wife had a headache and skipped breakfast. I returned at about 9:30am and at 10:30 am we left to go to Santa's Village and removing the do not disturb sign, upon returning around 7:00pm, the room had not been cleaned. This was a very big miss and should be rectified, however I would return as the pluses outweigh the minuses.

Staff were very courteous and friendly, Very helpful in giving trip advise. Enjoyed our stay very much. Would definitely stay there again. The location is in a great getaway location. The breakfast was good and the service with breakfast was excellent.

Clean and neat rooms with nice decor. Pool and hot tub were great fun. Great service with a smile. There are nearby stores and a lot of restaurants that are easy walking distance. Very easy to find the hotel as it is right off of the highway. Very close to old downtown Huntsville which is a gem to explore.

Stayed at this hotel for a night and found it clean and convenient. Very affordable option for Huntsville. Pool was relatively clean. Breakfast was good and has all food option for a budget hotel. One note on the room...my son had a mild allergic reaction and coughed a lot maybe because the rooms on the main floor are pet friendly. Will ask for an upper floor next time. Will definitely return.

We stayed a few years back at this hotel. A lot of money and work have gone into restoring it. It is clean, comfortable and above what one might expect for the money we paid for a couple of night's stay. The hotel is located on a road close to Highways 11 and 60, but there is no highway noise. The room was exceptionally quiet. Parking is, of course, free. We were warmly welcomed to the hotel by the front desk manager who upgraded us to a suite because we belong to the Platinum Elite membership. The suite was more room than we needed, but we did enjoy the Jacuzzi. We enjoyed more the breakfasts which were delicious, substantial, and free. The indoor pool was another treat on a hot day. The maid service was excellent and there are many other amenities that people can enjoy. Also, nearby are some chain restaurants that offer Best Western guests discounts.

Fantastic service, especially from Steve (night shift). Stayed three nights, quiet hotel, no noise on our floor (3rd). Breakfast was good, eggs, homefries, sausage, cereals. Bed was firm. Would definitely return.

I travel a lot but rarely have I seen the attention to service as the Best Western in Huntsville. The breakfast was great and they kept asking if I need anything else and quickly acted. Rooms were comfortable and spacious and clean. Everyone friendly even though the place was packed. Thank you all for making our family stay so great

Pros: The staff were extremely friendly, breakfast was amazing! They had usual eggs, sausages, waffles (with chocolate chips and oreos!), breads, pastries, yogurt, fruits, They really ensured you had an excellent stay. Good value for the money you are paying. Conveniently located near Walmart, grocery stores and lots of restaurants. Con: the rooms are a bit dated, but comfortable and roomy!

The hotel is unassuming, but the staff and room were in great shape. I was surprised at the age of the hotel and the room was clean and tide, not like a number of the large chains that do not clean in the corners (dust ball haven). We traveled with a team and I found the hotel extremely quite with the number of guests staying over. The breakfast served was very tasty and the staff opened up a conference room to accommodate all the travelers wishing to partake in the breakfast buffet...Well Done!

We came to Huntsville for the weekend from the States for a friends wedding. We got a standard king room which was perfect. Everything was clean and the staff were very friendly. The hot breakfast was pretty standard with eggs, sausage and potatoes. The hotel is about 10 min from Grandview Golf and 7 min to Main Street. It's a great location with lots to do nearby. For the price of the rooms, this a great place to stay!

Best Western is a very well-respected chain and this particular property certain proves that! This is probably the cleanest hotel/resort we have ever stayed at. You'd be hard-pressed to find even a cobweb! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast offers so many great choice, from eggs & sausage to yogurt & fruits. The variety caters to everyone. A sure bet when visiting in the Muskoka area.

This hotel represents excellent value during the off season. We secured a really good deal booking directly with Best Western two weeks before our trip. Front desk staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The lady that checked us in offered a primo place to park our motorcycle, this was unexpected and a very nice touch. The room is a good size, modern looking, clean and in good repair. Great water pressure in the shower. The pool, though small was welcome as was the hot tub after a long days ride. Everything was clean and in good repair. Free breakfast at this location was a nice touch as well, good assortment of items including real orange juice. The only downside of breakfast was the offering of breakfast "sausages". Nasty. Yeah, sausages aren't made of the best bits on the best of day, but there is such a thing as good breakfast sausages and these weren't it. Gritty, mealy, fluffy, odd tasting things - best way to describe. In fairness, all other items offered in the free breakfast were of good quality; scrambled eggs, bagels, cream cheese, cereals, yogurt, waffle station, etc. Good value overall... because it's free. I wouldn't mind a small surcharge to cover off the cost of better quality protein. Can't really complain about anything dealing with the hotel or staff. Everything was clean, in tip-top condition and staff was and absolute treat to deal with. We'll be back when it's time to ride the Muskokas again.

WE are silver members and certainly know how to rate a hotel room, this franchise is not consistent. However, we would return again which we will do this coming weekend again because the price is right for the area and the complimentary breakfast is the best in the area and beyond. The only complaint I have is that the toiletries are really cheap products and the rooms are not cleaned well enough to my liking. The staff is very friendly and accommodating so overall I would recommend this hotel to friends over the holiday Inn next door.

We played golf at North Granite Ridge & stayed here before heading to Parry Sound the next day to play The Ridge at Manitou. We have stayed in Parry Sound the last couple years at a hotel along the 400 but found it to be too expensive for what we got. So we were very pleased to stay here at the BW Muskoka. Room was clean, the king bed was comfortable & the shower was wonderful! Plus the rate was way more reasonable; even got the CAA reduction. Bonus! Breakfast was pretty extensive but we only had coffee before heading elsewhere. BTW, downtown Huntsville is only a few minutes away so local eateries were easily accessible although there are restaurants at the same exit to Highway 60. Plus there is a large grocery store & Walmart right there for whatever you may need Would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel and great staff. Easy to grab a bite to eat at the local restaurant. Staff was friendly and easy to speak with. If your looking to go to Alconquin Park, this hotel will get you a nice comfortable stay.

This hotel is very nice. The facilities are lovely and the staff are very kind and professional. I was seven days at this hotel and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. The breakfast was tasty and there was plenty of it. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel.

I travel to many BW throughout Eastern Canada and Huntsville is right up there with other BW who charges more for less. Definite worth the stop or extra detour to stay here. Perfect location to accommodate and will definitely be returning at Huntsville Best Western Plus Muskoka.

Second stay at this Best Western and its hard to beat. Great breakfast selection and they leave the coffee and juice out all day so you can one whenever you feel like it. The bedroom was clean, comfortable and spacious. The location is reasonable to get into town.

staff was great room was clean floor was softer than the bed the worst pillows evver paid for king suite with fireplace and Jacuzzi, fireplace was a fake cardboard log set with an orange light behind it , was awakened at 11.30 pm when room above us filled their Jacuzzi we thought the water was running in our room and when they started the jets we thought we were at Pearson do your self a favour stay next door at the Holiday Inn

The hotel was great and had everything we needed. The staff was so friendly and greeted all guests every time you came in the door. Lynne was awesome on our arrival! Would highly recommend it! The rooms were very clean and the breakfast buffet was excellent and replenished often!

Never stayed at this BW but since the meeting was here booked a room. Very nice place, up graded to a spacious suite, nice pool and hot tub area, access to eateries across the road as well as some shopping. The conference room was set up great, lots of coffee and snacks.

Very nice hotel. Clean. Beds were comfortable. Free breakfast. The staff were helpful. This hotel is approx. 30 min. from the Algonquin Provincial Park, which was the reason for my visit. Good location, close to stores, gas stations and restaurants. I would stay there again.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel with our 5 year old on May 10th.It was nice and very clean, The staff were friendly .We enjoyed to pool (which had life jackets for little ones) and the hot breakfast was good.We would defiantly stay there again !

Very nice one day Mother's day escape from busy city traffic. Nice and peaceful stay. Even if the weather isn't perfect enjoy time in the swimming pool and hot tub or simply enjoy shopping at the Huntsville shopping Center just across from the hotel.

Everything you would expect from a Best Western Plus! Clean, comfortable room, great water pressure in shower, friendly staff, good variety of breakfast items quickly replenished, and a comfortable distance into Algonquin for hiking and animal photography. Close to shopping if needed, but close to atmosphere of downtown as well. Would recommend and would stay again.

Staff was overwhelming friendlier, helpful and polite. Breakfast was very good with plenty of food available. Overall it was great experience to stay at this facility. I will strongly recommend it to every one who is going to that area.

Since I had stayed at this Inn previously I was aware of its calibre and I was to go to a Rug Hooking Conference at Deerhurst but I wanted a quieter place to stay and one I was familiar with. I love the beds for their comfort, swam in the pool and used the hot tub and had a wonderful time. Thank you.

From the first person who welcomed us, to the last person who said good bye, everyone was so pleasant. We took our 14 year old foster son , and our 4 year old granddaughter away for a weekend. What made the weekend, was the small things, we had a pop-up house for our grand daughter to sleep in, as we only had 2 queen beds, the first morning we came back to our room, and the bed had been made in her pop-up house, and all her dolls were all lined up for her inside, a real nice touch, secondly, she had wanted a apple for breakfast, and the staff gladly found a peeler for the apple and accommodated the request of a little 4 year old customer. I also have to mention the staff also, wherever/ whenever you there, you were given a " have a nice day", or a "good night".. we visit the area often as our son lives up there, and they have gained a customer for sure. We weren't a Company, or staying for a long period of time, but still received the A+ treatment, made for a great weekend away!! , We will be back... oh ya, the pool and hot tub, are not too shabby either, a great place to stay!!

My husband and I had a a very comfortable stay. The bed was a dream. The breakfast was hearty and delicious. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The only downside was the strong chlorine smell from the pool that permeated the lobby.

There was absolutely nothing wrong at all! Everything was in excellent condition, clean bathrooms, lots of towels, comfortable beds, great TV and remote, friendly staff and an awesome breakfast included. Wonderful staff with smiles all the time. our room was large, clean and very quiet. All parts of the hotel appeared well cared for and very clean. Didn't use the pool this time but I would definitely put it on the list of places to return- definitely.

My wife and I always like to stay at the Best Western Plus in Huntsville. Clean and nice staff and comfortable. We find it conveniant as it is just off the main highway and cuts most of our trips in half. We stay at this hotel aproximately 4 times a year. It also is close to restaurants. Just a short walk.

Was working in Huntsville for the weekend and I try and stay only in Best Western Hotels and this was my first time in Huntsville. The staff made my experience with them great. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and the rooms were lid out very good. The continental breakfast was very good and a great variety of food to pick from. Melissa was very friendly and helpful upon check in. Thank you to all staff.

My wife and I came here for a mini relaxing get away. As we drove by we were worried the room would be moldy and gross with the gross comforters you don't want to touch. It turns out this hotel is actually quite nice. We had a room with a jacuzzi on the third floor. The washroom, bed and linens were clean and comfortable and certainly not gross. Washroom was clean and not moldy or anything. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Absolutely fantastic hotel! Everything was spotless, the rooms were comfortable and quiet. Continental breakfast was delicious, and the hotel facilities were clean and well maintained. Stayed for one night. Got attached rooms for our group. The staff worked extra hard to make sure everything was set up correctly for us. We were able to have our rooms available early. Had to cab everywhere but it was less than $10 to the downtown area. Went to The Mill On Main for dinner and then On The Docks Pub for drinks and live music. The hotel has a pool and hot tub, small gym, free breakfast. It is walking distance to many chain restaurants, Walmart, Winner, etc. We went in February and planned to go skating and tubing but the weather cancelled those plans. We will be back soon for another trip. Had a blast.

We got a jacuzzi suite. Was bigger n roomier then it looked on pictures. Fireplace in room. Clean room, comfortable beds. Pool was great! Plenty of breakfast options to choose from including eggs, waffles n bagels. Booked thru Expedia for $110 plus tax.

Very comfortable beds. Staff friendly and good breakfast variety... hot and cold. Swimming pool was clean and not too small. Room had all the expected amenities and was spotless... very comfortable. Ground floor room windows did not open... which is reasonable from a security point of view but the room was a little too warm when we arrived and took a while to cool down without the window. The price was a little more than the local competition but overall good value.

We booked a standard room with two queen size beds last minute on Valentine's Day 2016. The room was clean and surprisingly quiet despite being next to the elevator (308). We did have the heat on at night for white noise which may have blocked out the elevator sounds. The pool and hot tub are small but clean and comfortable. The hotel is family and kid friendly. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about local attractions. Breakfast is included and was eggs, hash browns, sausages, yogurt, oranges, waffles, toast, cereal, juice, coffee, etc. Breakfast was nothing special but you can eat as much as you like. Breakfast staff are friendly. Late checkouts available if you ask. Staff will also allow you to stay a bit longer in the pool (10:15 PM instead of 10 PM for example). One note of interest: Night time pool patrons were permitted to consume alcoholic beverages despite posted signs indicating that only water was allowed.

I booked the best western Muskoka Inn, with very little expectations. I simply wanted a decent hotel near Arrowhead park. For just over $100 (including tax), this property exceeded my expectation. Staff members were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were average size, modern and very clean. My only complaint about the rooms were that the sheets were not very soft, but what can you expect at this price point? My children enjoyed the small indoor pool that was very clean and well maintained, beware of the very slippery pool deck! Hot tub was small and not overly hot, but still nice after a long, cold day. The free hot breakfast was absolutely fine. Hotel is within walking distance to a few restaurants (10% off when you show your room key). All in all, a great little hotel for the price.

This is a fantastic hotel. We stayed here with our two kids during February. The rooms were clean, the pool was warm and the staff were friendly. Also the fantastic breakfast was a bonus, especially since my kids are big breakfast eaters! We loved how easy it was to get to Arrowhead and the local restaurants from the hotel.

Stayed for two nights in a room with a king bed and jacuzzi tub (Room 214). The room was well maintained and very clean. There was a bar fridge, coffee maker and microwave which was great. The bathroom was also spacious and clean, and featured a stand in shower, wall-mounted shaving mirror, and plenty of counter space. We did not eat at the breakfast bar (included in the room fee), but it seemed quite busy so I can assume most people enjoyed it. I believe breakast was available from 7am - 10am. The wifi was speedy and did not lose connection. We connected our laptop to the TV via HDMI connection so bring a cable along if you wish to do the same. Two points of caution (but did not result in me lowering my rating): 1) Noise. The hotel was very busy and full of kids. During the evenings it was very loud in the hallways as kids were running up and down and making plenty of noise. I'm glad they enjoyed but parents should ideally control them better. However, many parents kept their room doors open and were talking loudly between. Therefore, I can assume there were several families together - perhaps for a hockey tournament. It was quite at night so we had no trouble sleeping. 2) Parking. Parking is included in the hotel fee which is great, but fills up fast. The problem is inconsiderate guests that park their pickup trucks with trailers sideways across 5-6 parking spots. I brought this to the attention of the staff at the front desk. He told me to park along the curb at the front of the hotel. This is not ideal, and luckily a staff member finished her shift and gave me her spot. Guests can be inconsiderate, so the hotel staff should have a better handle on this. Every guest registers their license plate upon checkin, so it would have been possible to sort out the guests using up multiple spots with their pickup trucks, yet the staff did not do this. We would return, but keeping the above points in mind to avoid disappointment.

We had a great family stay. This hotel offered excellent value for a smaller budget. The pool was smaller but still very enjoyable. Great location for day excursions. Located close to restaurants, shopping and groceries. Breakfast was great and the staff was friendly and helpful for planning day trips, etc.
